“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

And all my days turn into fight or flight

'Cause I've been losing sleep (losing sleep)
Trying to get back to who I used to be
Where is the old me?

Chris Cannon spearing Kennedy Street and Owen Cruze follows before we see a shot of Cassidy Carter dancing on her way to the ring, and then a shot of Regan Street and Datura swinging chairs at one another. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are just days away from Cold Blooded as we roll into the deep south for Breakdown!”

The crowd continues to cheer before we cut to ringside to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots standing at ringside, microphones in their hands.

Sharper: “That’s right, Breakdown rolling into Cold-Blooded in just a few days. I’m Adam Sharper, here with Jonathan Knots and Jon, huge main event tonight.”

Knots: “SCW Television Championship will be on the line and Tommy Valentine will defend against Regan Street. And the two of them, despite their linked relationship to David Helms, they aint getting along!”

Sharper: “Not at all. We also expect to hear from both Bree Lancaster and James Evans. That’s right. The big news announced last week…”

“We Will Rock You” by In This Moment (featuring Maria Brink, Lzzy Hale and Taylor Momsen) plays as the Cold Blooded logo comes up on the screen. We then see a still of Bree Lancaster vs. James Evans, SCW United States and World Championships on the line.

Sharper: “…James Evans will face Bree Lancaster. Title for title.”

Knots: “Bree took James out with the title last week. Looks like James can try and get revenge by taking everything from the Beauty Factory this Sunday!”

“White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane starts to play and the crowd buzzes as we cut to the entrance way as the lights of the stage, flash multiple colours and we see Jason Helms walk out from the back, wearing a top hat, and smiling widely, like he’s the Mat Hatter. With him, is Leviticus, with the GOAT goat. The crowd roars as Jason Helms looks around and then invites the camera in. He reveals a microphone in his coat pocket, pulling it out and looking around.

Jason: “Welcome to the STENCH of the Wonderland! The flashing lights, the wanton animals…Leviticus, you’re not part of it anymore. He doesn’t like you and your capitalism, but if you do, you can get your very own GOAT goat plushy. We got a box of them from the last time we were all doing this song and dance!”

Leviticus pulls out a plushy from a bag on the goat and throws it in the air. The goat watches it as Leviticus then reaches into the bag again, grabbing something else, holding it in his hand.

Jason: “But come on in. Let me tell you the TRUTH of everything around here. From the stories of the Mole people to the Lizard People, to the Judases of the past. Remember that Ace hold, Ace Marshall? A God damned Judas! Turned on me because I wouldn’t taste the red berries with Gio!”

Jason turns to Leviticus who unfolds the t-shirt in his hand, revealing it saying “I tasted the Red Berries and all I got was this goat!” Leviticus then throws the t-shirt into the crowd.

Jason: “But all of this, this kingdom, it needs to be brought down to its knees! The Lizard King and his princesses have destroyed many. The bodies of broken and battered people. Just look at last week, when the most lizardy and scaly of them all, David Helms…a man who was rightfully called Dangerous before he was a top star, took that big son of a bitch, Cain Adams, and drove him through a mix of wood and barbed wire. The number one tools of the Lizard Kingdom…NO! EMPIRE! Jesus, Gio. Only a Kingdom. With how much SCW has taken over the years – empire is more fitting. See, this is why you needed us!”

Jason shakes his head before Leviticus elbows him and Jason regains his composure.

Jason: “But destroyed him. Turned him into a barbed wire mess. Skin tearing. Blood everywhere. The Wonderland harmed all by the Lizard EMPIRE. And those damn Helmses! Including that dashing Jason Helms, with amazing hair. The NEW Judas. You know, because he showed up with his brother, coming back after a DEVASTATING leg injury, fighting back to come here to kick the holy hell out of jackasses like Giovanni Aries!”

The crowd cheers.

Jason: “Oh wait…listen to that, Giovanni. Listen to that….”

Jason starts to wave his arms, as the crowd cheers some more.

Jason: “Do you want to see Giovanni Aries get his ass beat again?!”

The crowd cheers. Jason smirks.

Jason: “Sounds like the Wonderland aint the cool kids club anymore? Sounds like people got tired of laughing with you and now are laughing at you. And you’ll just hear that laughing when I stuff your deluded ass into that hole in your match, the Wonderland. I won’t need a Queen to slam a chair into your head. I’ll just be showing up to kick your ass. I might need Lucas and David…but that depends on if you bring your foot soldiers. See, this is a war. You’ve made it one. We brought you to our neck last week and left you and yours bloodied and battered. Now to finish the job.”

Jason looks around.

Jason: “Last time in a Wonderland match, we started a desert before making it all through the city to the ring. This time, don’t worry, I know there won’t be a desert, but I’ll help you get the hint Cajun style. We’re in my backyard this time. My new one. And if I don’t know the places, I know someone who can help me and Giovanni…spin this however you want. But maybe you should sober up bro, because this Judas is going to plant his foot in your ass, prove the knee is doing great and then end this farce.”

Jason smirks as he takes off his Mad Hatter hat and frisbees it into the crowd. The crowd roars. Leviticus holds his hand out to stop him and Jason turns.

Leviticus: “We needed to get that back.”

Jason: “Don’t worry. David and Lucas can cover the fee.”

Jason turns back to the camera.

Jason: “And Giovanni…maybe, just maybe, I can make sure you finally EMBRACE REALITY!”

Jason then steps back and turns to Leviticus.

Jason: “And we even got a shirt for that.”

Leviticus holds up another shirt. On it is a picture of Giovanni Aries, as a stick figure, being stepped on by a Godzilla-esque ripoff and Jason Helms’ head on the face of the “lizard.”

Jason: “Cold Blooded, huh?”

Jason smirks as he backs up and looks around as “Hated” by Beartooth plays. Jason Helms looks around. The crowd cheers.

Knots: “The asshole is back.”

Sharper: “We’ve not seen Jason Helms have this fun in a while. Looks like Giovanni Aries has Jason’s attention. An assist from Leviticus.”

Knots: “And the GOAT goat!”

Sharper: “Yes. But all of this…it’s only affirming, I’m sure, what Giovanni Aries already figured about Jason Helms.”

Knots: “Judas, Judas, Judas.”

Helms walks along the stage, playing to the crowd a bit.

“The Old Me” plays as the crowd roars and the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. We then see a shot of Erik Holland walking out from his locker room. He stretches out, looking forward and focused, as Lyal “Lyric” Allen walks with him.

Sharper: “From Jason Helms returning to form, to the arrival of a new signing. Erik Holland, days removed from some gruelling competition elsewhere, will make his SCW debut.”

Knots: “He better be ready for this. If not, this could be a night he’ll want to forget!”

Sharper: “Breakdown returns, after this!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see walking into the arena, en masse, the group of Sienna Swann, Xiomara Diaz, Chris Cannon, Bree Lancaster and Glory Braddock. They are all walking into the building as a unit.

Sharper: “And look who has arrived.”

Knots: “Fashionably late?”

Sharper: “But look who is with them. Glory Braddock. We’ve not seen her in a couple of weeks. Since Retribution in fact. She’s here.”

Knots: “I guess that’s who Xiomara called last week. She’s been having some scheduling issues and Sasha’s been getting annoyed there. And rightfully so.”

Sharper: “But you can see how they’re united. And with Sienna Swann and Chris Cannon increasingly unhinged. This could be a wild night.”

Knots: “Just who is in their sights?”

The camera focuses on them.

Bree: “Can’t believe we’re here.”

Sienna: “It’ll be worth it in the end. We can celebrate this as the last night of James Evans’ reign. In a location fitting of who he is.”

Bree: “Including the smell.”

Glory: “Don’t worry. We’ll be dealing with that smell tonight and this Sunday.”

Bree: “Yeah, when I return to a real city…home…”

The crowd boos as the group continues down the hallway, heading toward their room.

Erik Holland vs. Sammy Thomas Davies

The scene cuts to the ring to see Sammy Thomas Davies running the ropes in the ring. Clamidiya stands at ringside in her man’s corner.

Sharper: “This should be interesting. About to see the debut of Erik Holland.”

Knots: “Coming to SCW. Gonna have to test himself against a former Tag Team Champion!”

Sharper: “A lot of people have had their first matches in SCW against Sammy Thomas Davies. He’s almost the gatekeeper. But the question is what condition is he in. Those who follow him will know he’s had some recent wars.”

Knots: “Either he’s an idiot, or he’s crazy before getting a break like this.”

"Will you tell these fools I'm not crazy! Make them listen to me before it's too late!"

The arena suddenly goes completely pitch black.

"Listen to me. PLEASE listen. If you don't, if you won't...if you fail to understand, then the same incredible terror that's menacing me will STRIKE AT YOU!"

WE MUST SURVIVE!!!!!!

"The Haunted" erupts over the sound system kicking up an air-raid siren style strobelight that pulses steadily but angrily on the stage. Lyal "Lyric" Allen comes bounding through the curtain first rocking her latest outrageous makeup and costume, waving to the crowd and bounding around like a super-ball. She heads to center stage as she sees her beloved charge Erik Holland advancing onto the stage. Holland turns around once, taking in the crowd. Lyric wraps her arms around him, whispering something in his ear and then points at the ring, unleashing Erik Holland to make his way to the squared circle.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit! On his way to the ring, accompanied by Lyal ‘Lyric’ Allen, from Silent Hill, he is Erik Holland!”

He makes his way deliberately there, muttering to himself. Maybe he's talking to himself, talking to his fans, talking to his demons--we're not really sure, but he seems to be aware of the LOUD but mixed reaction that greets him, touching fists with his cheering fans--even going head to head with some, and ignoring the ones that are booing. Lyric is right behind him, slapping five with the fans, even getting a couple of hugs. We cut to the ring briefly to see Sammy.

Phillips: “And his opponent, in the ring, accompanied by Clamidiya, from the Red Light District, he is Sammy Thomas Davies!”

Erik and Lyric stop as they get to ringside, Lyric pulling him down for a kiss and last instructions before sending him tearing into the ring under the bottom rope. He lunges at the referee or the ring announcer, ending up sticking his head and upper body through the top and middle ropes as red strobes blaze all over the place. He stares out at the rolling, moshing swarm of fans, a sick smile playing across his scary-looking face. Lyric struts over and kisses him one more time then allows him to mug for the camera, spitting threats at his opponent riling up the crowd even more, before he goes to each turnbuckle, acknowledging them by smashing his hand into the top buckle on all four corners. Finally as the chaos begins to subside, Holland falls against a turnbuckle pad with his butt on the mat, muttering still, with a thousand yard stare locked onto Davies. The lights return to normal and the music fades, as the crowd brings up one last roar ready for the fight.

Sharper: “Erik Holland geared in tonight and accompanied by Lyric, he could be right at home.”

Knots: “He’s a bit nuts, aint he?”

Sharper: “He’s been known to get in a few fights. You wonder if he saw the Street Fight between the Wonderland and the Handsome Devils Club and got giddy. Either way, he’s hiding any damage thus far.”

The bell sounds. Erik Holland pushes forward and steps out. Sammy looks at him too and Erik moves forward and locks up with Sammy. The two jockey for a moment before Erik goes a bit lower and just hoists Sammy up and throws him over with a side belly to belly suplex. Sammy rolls over and back and looks at Holland. Holland motions for him to get up. Sammy slowly ets as Lyric looks on. Sammy watches him and the two lock up again. They jockey some more before Erik ducks down and under and hoists him up for a Greco-Roman throw, but just lets go and throws him down to a seated position. He then leans forward and grabs him with an inverted front face lock. Sammy struggles and Erik throws him up and just dumps him forward. Erik then leans back and stretched his back out a bit.

Sharper: “Holland almost toying with Sammy, but clearly showing him his strength! The man can suplex anyone and anything.”

Knots: “He’s intentionally short-circuiting the move in mid move. I don’t know if its arrogance, or he knows he can handle Davies so he’s putting the roster on notice!”

Sammy slowly gets up and looks at him. He then rushes at Holland tackles him down. The crowd roars. Holland smiles as Davies nails him with a couple of hard rights.

Sharper: “Or maybe he just wanted Davies to come at him!”

Davies gets a few shots in before Holland swats at him with open-handed smacks. Davies rolls through. Holland rolls over and Davies runs into the ropes, past Holland. He bounces off and hits a crossbody.

1!

Holland kicks out, grimacing as he does. Both get up and Davies goes for a clothesline, but Holland ducks, catches him and hoists him up and hits a uranage backbreaker. He holds on and hoists him up again and drops him a second time and then looks around, hoisting him up a third time and drops him again. He then throws him off. Davies rolls over, holding his lower back as Holland gets up. Holland also holds his back and walks over to the ropes before walking around the ring.

Sharper: “The TerrorVision. Repeated backbreakers!”

Knots: “Davies is going to regret taking this one.”

Davies grabs at the ropes. He staggers back and Holland grabs him and throws him him back with the Move from Another World. Davies hits the mat and rolls over to his stomach. Holland then walks around the ring and looks out at the crowd before walking over to Davies and folding his legs over before stepping through and locking in the Pandorum. Davies struggles for a moment as Holland just manhandles him, pulling on his head and neck. Davies reaches around before starting to frantically tap as Holland just keeps pulling up on his neck. The bell sounds. Holland holds on a moment longer before letting go and rolling over.

Sharper: “Holland with the Pandorum. Just brute strength, pulling back on Davies.”

Knots: “Wasn’t the prettiest, but who cares. It was effective. Davies did not last long at all!”

Sharper: “And just like that Holland not only sending a message to these fans of what he’s going to bring to SCW, I hope people in the back were watching. He made Davies fight his fight and then just destroyed him!”

Holland has his arm raised and he pulls away from the official. Lyric enters the ring and Holland scans the crowd. He then drops down to the floor before wincing briefly and stretching out his back briefly. Lyric steps over and walks along the steps before heading over to Holland. Holland walks up one of the cameras.

Holland: “SCW…Try again!”

Holland steps past the camera, Lyric follows after. The two slowly head to the back, making sure the cameras and fans get a good look.

Sharper: “Holland making sure everyone gets a good look.”

Knots: “Things are changing around here!”

We cut to the back.

Sharper: “Now let’s cut backstage where we have Jessica Winters standing by with the SCW World Tag Team Champions.”

The camera cuts to the area outside of one of the locker rooms where Tommy Valentine, holding both the SCW World Tag Team and Television Championships, and Kandis, holding her SCW World Tag Team Championship, stand next to Jessica Winters.

Jessica: “Thank you Adam. I’m with the SCW World Tag Team Champions and Tommy-“

Tommy clears his throat.

Jessica: “And the SCW Television Champion.”

Tommy: “Thank ya.”

Jessica: “And Tommy, first, I wanted to talk about your match against Regan Street tonight, defending the SCW Television Championship. Things have gotten a bit snippy between you two.”

Tommy: “Oh no….no. They’ve been snippy from my end. Regan’s been the raging bitch. So be it. I mean she can’t do no wrong. She’s the Hellcat. It’s just part of her persona. Too bad, not only did we both smack down her hopes and dreams, winning the Tag Titles, beating the so called dream team, but I’m holding this…another title she’s never held and after tonight, still won’t. See, this is the problem when you’re running around like an asshole, using your anger to get ahead. At some point, you piss off the wrong people. We were the wrong people and we saw through it and ended your little fairy tale early. It will end period, tonight.”

Jessica: “Speaking of the tag team championship, Kandis, Tommy, you’ll face Kelsai Adamson-Mason and Blake Mason this Sunday, defending your titles against them. This all started with some disrespect-“

Kandis: “That’s rich. I’m sorry, but Miss LET LOVE IN…she’s a good wrestler. Maybe the future. But what’s there to respect? She’s happy? She’s positive? She’s got a future hall of famer as her coach? She’s got to earn that respect. You know, the same respect that so many refuse to give us. Even though Tommy here is the greatest tag wrestler in the history of this company and WE are two time Tag Team Champions. Just because I have an ass I’m proud of and I make half the men in the back here unable to hide the fact that they wish they were Tommy…Tommy just taught her a hard lesson.”

Tommy: “And we’re going to have to remind Blake of the lesson he should know by now. Don’t challenge for fights that are just going to get you in trouble. Seems like you don’t think Kelsai can handle herself. Or maybe Amy. Doesn’t matter. But big bro-in-law, he’s going to find out that he just gave himself reason four-hundred and ninety-two of why he should’ve stayed the hell away from here.”

Kandis: “Maybe we can tell him to LET LOVE IN!”

Tommy: “Maybe I’ll just tell him to let my knee cave his skull in.”

Kandis: “I can always give him something to fantasize about after…just won’t be with our titles. Then again, Jaxson seemed interested.”

Kandis winks as Tommy chuckles. They walk off. Jessica watches them leave before turning to the camera.

Jessica: “Those were our Tag Team Champions. Tommy Valentine, our TV Champion, will defend his title against Regan Street later tonight. That and much more, still to come, here on Breakdown.”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, Jaina Lancaster stands with Jay Gold in the SCW interview area.

Jaina: “Jay, last week, you and Aaron Blackbourne clashed in the ring. The match did not end as I’m sure you wanted, but you got a shot in on Shilo Valiant. Now, this Sunday, you will join Datura and Aaron Blackbourne in trying to get your hands on Valiant in a Fatal Four way match. Some would say you’ve muscled in on their issue?”

Gold: “And they would be wrong. The problem there is that this is a shared issue. I understand that Shilo Valiant and Aaron Blackbourne have been having a bit of a tit for tat for a while now. I know that he attacked Datura, pretending to be her, but when he came at ringside to distract Aaron Blackbourne when simply put, I’m too old for this crap. I’ve been in SCW since the very beginning and for someone, who is a hall of famer no less, to act like that. I’m sorry, but I take issue for that. For SCW, for the SCW I helped build, for the SCW I know others are looking to develop and for the SCW Hall of Fame. I got my shot in on Shilo and it felt good, but just like Datura and Blackbourne have their reasons, I have mine and if it means all three of us get our shots in on Valiant so one of us takes him down, great. At the same time, this is a match with a lot of talent and there’s the second part that every wrestler should keep aware of…competition. Every win is precious. Let’s see who is best between Blackbourne and I. Let’s see if Shilo Valiant can match up with us all. Let’s see if Datura is as advertised. I plan to do all of that and in the process, let’s see if we can get a Golden Moment.”

Jaina: “Thank you for your time Jay.”

Gold: “Thank you.”

Jaina: “Back to ringside.”

We cut away.

Selena Frost vs. Maddy Steward

BELIEVE IT!

The SCW Universe are on their feet as  “The Truth About Our Time” by Allen/Lande as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, from Nome, Alaska, she’s the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward, her back arm lifted behind her to the sky. With a lift of her right foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Reaching the ring, Selena slides under the ropes to enter it. She gets up and lifts her hand up to give a twirl as the lights form to make a massive snowflake under her. Stopping her spin and lowering her hand back down, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a smirk graces her lips, her other arm lifting to the sky once more. With a slam of her foot, Selena caused the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out blue sparkles of light as the lights return to normal. She looks around as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “Selena Frost helping Asher Hayes last week as the Beauty Factory looked to make themselves feel better.”

Knots: “Regan’s got her issues with Xander. Frozen Hell taking a brief break as they go back to the drawing board and Selena wasn’t going to just stand aside.”

“That Girl’s a Genius” blasts through the arena and the camera pans a wide shot and to show the crowd’s pop for the youngest of the Steward clan. The camera changes as it switches to the stage entrance where Madison walks out dressed in her dark black ring attire and wearing a steampunk white rabbit mask. She stops on the stage and feeds off the crowd’s energy that gets her pumped.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Los Angeles, California, she is the Dynamite Kid, Madison Steward!”

She takes off down the aisle sprinting to the ring and slides inside it. She gets up on her knees and takes off her mask bopping her head to the music and smiles to the crowd. Madison picks herself up and takes off her black ring coat and gets ready for her match and her music fades out.

Sharper: “Maddy Steward could play spoiler here. She’s never quite put it all together, but any win over Selena Frost is a big deal.”

Knots: “Yeah and she knows that. The issue is whether she’ll be looking over her shoulder for Konrad. Then again, Konrad Raab is focused on Katie!”

The bell sounds as Maddy and Selena set toward one another and lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Maddy turns into a side headlock. She smiles as Selena pulls her back to the ropes and then fires her off. Maddy bounces off and Selena steps forward and shoulders her down. Maddy’s smaller size causes her to hit the mat. Maddy rolls over and gets up. Selena looks at her and the two lock up again. Maddy goes for a side headlock again, but Selena blocks it and turns and wrenches the arm. Maddy winces and looks around before flipping forward and nipping up and then wrenching Selena’s arm. Selena flips through. Maddy holds on and Selena slowly rolls over and starts to get up. Maddy continues to hold onto the arm and Selena rolls through and then bridges up before spinning under the arm and hitting a leg trip. She goes for the pin.

1!

Maddy kicks out. Both get up and Maddy goes for a dropkick, but Selena side steps. Maddy gets up and Selena hits a side headlock takedown.

1!

Maddy rolls her shoulder up and both start to get up.

Sharper: “Maddy trying to match Selena, but this may not be working out.”

Knots: “Selena’s just operating on a different wavelength right now.”

Selena gets up to her feet and then throws Maddy over with a hip throw. Maddy hits and Selena kicks her in the back. Maddy rolls over. Selena follows up and grabs her. She then chops her. The crowd woos. Maddy falls to the corner. Selena grabs her and whips her across the ring. Maddy hops up and floats over Selena as she runs after her. Selena stops at the corner. Maddy lands and backs up and Selena runs out and goes for clothesline. Maddy however grabs the arm, jumps up and counters with a crucifix pin.

1!

2!

Selena kicks out. Both get up and Maddy jumps up and hits a monkey flip. Selena rolls through. She gets up and Maddy hits a front dropkick, knocking Selena back. She slowly gets up and Maddy forearms her in the jaw and then again.

Sharper: “Maddy doing a great job firing back.”

Knots: “Throwing some dynamite, aint she?”

Maddy then runs across the ring. She bounces off. Selena steps up for a clothesline. Maddy ducks and jumps to the middle rope and dives back, hitting a forearm smash. She goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Selena kicks out. She rolls over and Maddy grabs her and locks in a reverse chinlock. She pulls back as Selena starts to get up. Maddy holds on and Selena elbows her in the ribs and then again before jumping back and hitting a pump kick, catching Maddy in the face. Maddy falls to the ropes. She steps forward and Selena lifts her up and hits a flapjack. Maddy slowly gets up and staggers to her feet, turning around, right into the spinning heel kick. The crowd ohs and Selena goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Maddy gets her shoulder up. Maddy rolls over and Selena goes for the arm, grabbing it and clubbing her in the shoulder and then again and again as Maddy moves to the ropes. The referee calls for the break.

1!

2!

3!

Selena lets go and moves back. Maddy starts to get up.

Sharper: “This is one reason why Selena is so successful. Everyone is a competitor. She takes every opponent seriously.”

Knots: “Maddy’s hungry and she’s knows it. Also maybe she wants her arm for a trophy!”

Selena walks over to Maddy and Maddy kicks her in the shin. Selena staggers back and Maddy jumps to the middle rope and hits a moonsault press into a pin.

1!

2!

Selena kicks out. Both women get up and Maddy goes low for a basement dropkick. She rolls over and runs into the ropes and then grabs Selena’s head and hits a bulldog. She rolls Selena over and hooks the leg.

1!

2!

Selena gets her shoulder up. Maddy looks up. She then turns and stomps Selena in the face and then again in the ribs before walking over to the corner. She climbs up the corner and gets to the top rope. Selena slowly gets up and sees Maddy on the top rope and Selena runs over and to her and comes up underneath. She grabs Maddy by the legs and runs out and hits a running sitout powerbomb!

1!

2!

Maddy rolls her shoulder up. Selena rolls back.

Sharper: “Selena running out and planting Madison with the powerbomb, but that only gets two!”

Knots: “There’s that hunger. The hunger for victory!”

Selena gets up and Maddy rolls over. Selena then forearms her in the jaw and then again before the crowd boos loudly. We cut to a wide shot as we see Glory Braddock sliding into the ring. She then crawls over to Selena and takes her down by the leg. Selena goes down hard as the bell sounds. Maddy rolls away. Glory then crawls over Selena and hammers away on her with repeated right hands. We then see Chris Cannon, Xiomara Diaz and Sienna Swann entering the ring. Selena tries to swing, but as Glory gets a few shots in, Chris Cannon runs over and stomps Selena in the ribs over and over. Glory then gets up and nails Selena with a couple of hard right hands to the face. Selena covers up as she drops down. Glory steps back as the boos continue. The bell sounds again as Sienna, Xiomara and Chris start to stomp away on Selena. Glory demands a microphone as we then see Maddy Steward looking around and running over and joining Sienna in stomping away on Selena. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Glory Braddock! The Beauty Factory down here, just stomping away.”

Knots: “Glory’s got a microphone…and look at Maddy!”

Sharper: “I didn’t think the Stewards were on the same page as the Beauty Factory but maybe Maddy is looking to get a few shots in.”

Knots: “Probably hates Selena more!”

The crowd boos loudly as we see Glory turn around. Selena rolls over as Sienna then nails Maddy with a hard front kick. Maddy rolls over and to the floor. The crowd boos as Glory turns to Selena.

Glory: “So you want to be the Face of SCW? You want to get involved in other people’s business?”

Selena reaches up and before she can attack Glory, refusing to stay down, Glroy nails her with the microphone in the head. She drops to the mat. Sienna laughs, enjoying the visual.

Glory: “Now, you can call me part fixer, because it seems like I need to step in and remind a few people that they’re not getting in our way. Bree Lancaster will be a double champion. Sienna Swann will be on top with Chris and don’t worry…I’ll be right there as the Best in the World. We don’t need you in our business, Snow Queen.”

Glory then grabs her and we see a trickle of blood coming down her face. The crowd boos. Glory nails her again with the microphone. Selena falls down. The crowd roars as we then see Regan Street running down from the back with Mikaela Street. Sienna turns, hearing the crowd. Regan looks right after as Glory steps forward.

Glory: “Whoa! Whoa! Regan! Come in this ring to help your sister, and I think we’ll be celebrating Tommy Valentine walking out champion for sure, right. Is HISTORY more important than your so-called family?”

Selena turns, rolling over, waving at Regan to stay back. Regan keeps looking at the ring as Chris and Xiomara step forward.

Glory: “Or you can try and take us all on?”

Regan starts to move to the ring, but as she does, the crowd roars as we see Jake Starr, Asher Hayes and Ace Marshall running down from the back, chairs in each of their hands. Regan doesn’t notice this and as she reaches the ring, Sienna, Chris, Xiomara and Glory bail. Ace, Starr and Asher then slide into the ring, with their chairs, running past Regan. Regan notices them and rolls into the ring. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Regan was going to come into the ring! But Ace Marshall, Jake Starr and Asher Hayes all brandishing chairs. That’s one way to get them out of there!”

Knots: “They can threaten all they want, but they’ve pissed off a lot of people!”

Ace Marshall walks around the ring as the crowd roars. Jake swings at Sienna who jukes back. Regan gets up and goes over to Selena as Selena winces, the blood now more obvious. Asher Hayes watches Glory.

Sharper: “But the damage may have been done. Selena Frost has been bloodied.”

Knots: “And Glory sent the message. Selena got involved. They see her as getting in the way.”

Sharper: “Nothing new for Sienna.”

Knots: “What is new is that Glory Braddock is happy to stand in Selena and Asher’s way!”

Sharper: “And let’s not forget – Glory still has a Trios contract too.”

Sienna Swann settles in the rampway with Chris Cannon. Xiomara comes over too. Glory watches the ring, looking around as the crowd continues to boo and the scene fades to black.

The lights straight to flicker in the arena as “The show must go on” the SCW / Maserati Remix kicks in over the PA system, the opening beats bringing a huge cheer from the fans. A few moments pass.

“Empty spaces, what are we living for?
Abandoned places, I guess we know the score, on and on
Does anybody know what we are looking for?”

Owen steps out onto the stage to an even louder outpouring of noise, looking left and right at the fans and nodding in acknowledgment of their support. Kelcey Wallace walks out with him. Owen drops to one knee and punches the stage, as a huge burst of pyro erupts behind him. Owen getting to his feet and walking down the ramp.

Sharper: “Last week, Shaun Cruze made it official!”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

LAST WEEK – BREAKDOWN:

We see Owen in the middle of the ring, as on the big screen is Shaun Cruze on Skype.

Shaun: “And that's when we had our conversation Owen. What started in jest became a valid question. Could one of the most outstanding talents in this new generation taking over, fight and defeat the Impact Player Shaun Cruze? There was a lot of ribbing, but that's what it was, banter, not really something that would ever happen. But then, when I tuned into Breakdown last Wednesday, you issued a challenge. A challenge I heard loud and clear kid.”

He pulls himself closer to the screen

Shaun: “And a challenge I accept.”

The crowd can be heard cheering as the Cold Blooded logo comes up on the screen.

A still of Shaun Cruze vs. Owen Cruze comes up.

Sharper: “Shaun Cruze will face his nephew, Owen, this Sunday.”

Knots: “We’ll see what Shaun has left in the tank and Owen, he’ll have a different kind of challenge. One that’s personal, but not out of hatred. The kid may not understand that one!”

We cut back to a live shot as Owen Cruze in the middle of the ring. Kelcey Wallace, however, is the one with a microphone and she walks over to the middle of the ring, turning to Owen.

Kelcey: “Well Owen, you’re getting the match, the challenge you wanted. This Sunday, you will face your uncle, Shaun Cruze, in a special once-in-a-lifetime match.”

Owen nods.

Kelcey: “Now, Owen, I know both of you well. I probably know Shaun better. I mean, we even held the SCW Tag Team Championship together. We’ve been up and down these roads. We’ve been through a lot. As rivals and as friends.”

The crowd buzzes a moment.

Kelcey: “And this Sunday will be special for me too. See, I’m seeing two people who wanted to do things the right way, they’re going to compete. Unlike what we just saw from some are hoping to con, to bully, to usurp their way to the top…you’re doing it the right way and in his heart, I know Shaun will too. It’s why I know this Sunday, you’re going to be in for the fight of your life, Owen.”

The crowd boos a bit.

Kelcey: “And Shaun’s going to be in the fight of his. The way it should be. And I know, it’s the way you both want it.”

Kelcey pauses as the crowd cheers a bit as Owen nods.

Kelcey: “But as I said, I’m close to both of you. But I wanted to make this clear…this match, I’m going to smiling watching it. I’m going to enjoy it. And yes, I will be from ringside because Owen, I meant it when I came back and wanted to be in your corner, Peyton’s corner, even Alistaire’s and Aaron’s when they want me. I want to help the future become the present. And Shaun may be my friend, but you are too and Owen, I’ll be in your corner and I just hope you’re ready for what you’ve unleashed.”

The crowd roars. Kelcey then extends the microphone to Owen. Owen takes it and says something to Kelcey as she smiles. Owen then turns and steps forward, looking out at the crowd.

Owen: “This is definitely a change of pace and one I can get used to. I mean I don’t need to worry about someone’s ego, outside of what we already know, right Shaun?”

Owen smirks.

Owen: “What am I saying? I want to kick your ass too, so we’re both going to have the ego.”

Owen chuckles a bit.

Owen: “But this is about coming to this ring and competing. And yeah, some people may get on my case. Why now? Why not? Sienna Swann and company can run around like lunatics, trying to hold onto whatever scrap of legitimacy they had. But we all see what James Evans has done. I disagree with plenty. I’ve said it myself, but the man fights for everything he’s gotten, including getting through me. We’re seeing people getting put in their place and I hope this Sunday is a night where we can see that. We’ll have the Adrenaline Championship on the line in a match I hope will see the future on display. We’ll see Alistaire Allocco, I hope, show Gavin and his father that their tactics are no longer welcome. We’ll see Aaron Blackbourne, I hope, show Shilo Valiant that the old ways are done. And I hope that Shaun and I can show that while this is plenty personal, we’re going to put on a show and see who is the best.”

Owen pauses.

Owen: “My uncle may not have been in this ring in a long while, but I know the itch is there. He’s been thinking about coming back, even just for a brief scratch. And well, that time is now. Because Shaun, I’ll flat out admit it. This match means plenty to me. I get to face my flesh and blood, but not only that, I need to win this Sunday. I need to come to this ring and beat a former World Champion as I march to the biggest time of the year. Yeah, we’re almost there, it’s hard to believe. Since then, I’ve held the World Title, but no anywhere close to as long as I’ve wanted. We’ve seen this desire for competition tested mightily, but as I showed Syren, pure talent and drive will overcome corruption every damn time!”

Owen looks at the camera.

Owen: “And it’s time to take that and make the impact and I can do that by facing the Impact Player and on one night, doing something we’ll both remember. Now you may have your production company, and your time in Hollywood and all that, big Hollywood producer, but Shaun…remember how to kick okay? Don’t embarrass ourselves? You wanted this…you’re getting it…”

Owen smirks.

Sharper: “Owen’s having some fun at his uncle’s expense.”

Knots: “Why not? Not like he’ll hit him with a chair.”

Owen: “You know I’m messing with you. Come this Sunday, I know you’ll see this as seriously as I do. We’ll get over the fuzzy feelings and leave it all in the ring. That’s how we’re both wired…and Shaun…I look forward to every minute especially when I stand over you, holding my hand tall at the end.”

Owen smirks. The crowd meanwhile starts to cheer as we see Kelcey backing up.

Sharper: “Owen! Look behind you!”

Knots: “He’s here?!”

Owen turns and Shaun steps forwards and fires off a Morality Superkick. But Shaun holds the kick, so it finishes inches away from Owen's nose, Owen instinctively going to block. With a smile, Shaun holds up his thumb and his forefinger, showing how close he was, and what damage he could have done, as Owen nods, laughing. Owen just backs up and holds his arms up as if conceding defeat tonight.

Sharper: “Shaun held up! Shaun said last week, he’s got some new tricks!”

Knots: “That’s one. Just made the kid perhaps need a change of pants!”

Kelcey drops down and rolls to the floor as Owen backs up and rolls to the floor too. He backs up, still with his arms up. Shaun Cruze just smirks as Owen then starts to point to Shaun as the crowd continues to cheer loudly. A “Impact Player!” chant begins as Shaun looks around. Owen looks at the crowd and nods as Kelcey walks around and joins Owen.

Sharper: “Owen giving Shaun the ring tonight. Conceding defeat tonight.”

Knots: “And listen to this crowd. He’s going to hope they’re chanting for him this Sunday!”

Sharper: “I also don’t think Owen will give up the ring this early either! This will be a treat this Sunday!”

Shaun continues to look around the crowd continues to chant for him. He nods, enjoying the moment as the scene slowly fades out.

Cassidy Carter is walking backstage, holding a chair while going to catering. She looks around.

Cassidy: “They really need to start getting some of those little tequila bottles.”

???: “Probably won’t help you or your dumbass husband with much after this Sunday.”

Cassidy turns and goes to swing the chair, but it’s blocked as the camera reveal Chris Cannon walking up to her. He grabs the chair and pulls it away, throwing it down.

Chris: “Now since Ace is probably running around with Asher, feeling all good after stopping our message to Selena, I figured I’d come and talk with you. But that chair won’t do much. Instead, maybe you can pass along a little message that if you, Ace and Asher want to keep taunting Sienna with that Trios contract, I’ll make sure that they only thing Ace is saying after this Sunday is a lot of gibberish as his mouth is wired shut.”

Cassidy: “Still would say more of worth than you or Sienna ever would.”

Chris steps forward. Cassidy backs up.

Chris: “Got a smart mouth. Well, frankly, I think the SCW is quieter when the three of you can talk. So-“

Ace: “Hey asshole!”

Chris turns.

Ace: “Superman’s really fallen down. Don’t you have hyper hearing or some crap!”

Chris turns and Cassidy looks around as Chris turns and Cassidy grabs a bottle of water and goes to nail him with it. Chris blocks it and swats it down. Cassidy then turns as Ace runs over with the steel chair and throws it at him. Chris swats it down and backs up.

Chris: “This Sunday, you won’t get your little drop on me.”

Ace: “Yeah, yeah. You’re all reading from the same script. I heard it before.”

A few officials come into view and step between them. Chris looks around as Ace watches as Asher Hayes comes over.

Sharper: “Chris Cannon…that was…odd.”

Knots: “I think just like Sienna, he’s losing it a bit too!”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but Ace Marshall better understand what may await him. Chris Cannon usually is calm and cool and collected. That was frantic!”

Chris backs off as we cut away.

Damian Angel vs. Gavin Taylor

The opening lines of The Rasmus' "Lucifer's Angel" begin to play over the crowd suddenly, without the introduction of the song.

Behind those eyes lies the truth and grief
Behind those beautiful smiles I've seen tragedy
The flawless skin hides the secrets within
Silent forces that secretly ignite your sins

During that verse, Damian Angel steps out onto the top of the ramp , inciting a mixed reaction from the crowd. He looks at the crowd. The lights in the arena all turn off, leaving the sight of pitch black. As the chorus strikes up, a red spotlight begins to follow Angel to the ring...

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, from Hell, Michigan, he is Damian Angel!”

After a few moments, Angel has rolled toward the centre of the ring, pulling himself to one knee. Damian runs his hand over the canvas before pounding his right fist down upon the SCW logo, immediately springing to his feet thereafter. Damian unfastens the clasps of his rope, letting it drop down to the mat behind him. He glares out over the crowd. Angel climbs onto the middle rope and outstretches his arms, bringing them together in an 'X' formation as he looks down towards the pits of hell. He repeats this process on the other three sides of the ring, and after the last one he hops off the turnbuckle. He then turns to the entrance way.

Sharper: “Damian Angel has had a wild few weeks. Targeted by so many, but he seems to be trying to do things the quote, right way.”

Knots: “But he’s got an All-Star and an angry father stopping him. Not to mention Blake Mason and others.”

Sharper: “Blake saw him get attacked. Did nothing. A lot going on in the Unbound Messiah’s life. All surrounding Peyton Rice in some way.”

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show

The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.  Adam Allocco walks out with him and smirks.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by Adam Allocco, from Los Angeles, California, he is the Archangel Michael, Gavin Taylor!”

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger, Adam following. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope. Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes and looks at Damian. Adam settles in Gavin’s corner.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor as arrogant as ever and look who is with him. Adam Allocco, the father of Damian Angel’s partner at Cold Blooded.”

Knots: “Think of that. Damian and Alistaire haven’t been best buds, but they’re on the same side as a result of the actions of Gavin Taylor, of Adam Allocco, and this petty revenge!”

The bell sounds. Gavin looks across to Damian as Damian remains looking stoically at his opponent. Gavin just taunts him, talking about how he slayed Damian, making the motion of swinging a sword and leaning forward, jawing at Damian before Damian suddenly hits a snap jab to the jaw. Gavin stumbles back and over to the ropes. He falls to a knee as the crowd roars. Gavin turns around and Damian chops him. The crowd woos and Gavin holds his chest in pain. He gets up and Damian nails him with a throat thrust and Gavin stumbles back to the corner. Damian follows and kicks him in the ribs before kicking him again and again. Gavin drops down to a seated position. Damian kicks him a couple more times as Adam snaps at the official to break it up.

Sharper: “Hard clothesline and Damian Angel as focused as we’ve seen him in the last two months. Even sending a message to Adam.”

Knots: “And Gavin finding out he may be in for a long night!”

Sharper: “And this is a preview of the tag match we’ve mentioned this Sunday!”

Damian turns and grabs Gavin and drags him up. He then turns and hooks him up before snapping him over with a snap suplex. He rolls over in a pin.

Sharper: “Got all of it and now a cover!”

Gavin hooks the legs.

The official warns Adam and Adam backs away, arms up. Damian turns back to Gavin who runs at him and nails him with a running, jumping forearm. Damian falls to the corner. Gavin then nails him with a hard right and then another and another before backing up, hoisting his arms in the air. He turns back and pulls Damian out and snapmares him over before running into the ropes. He bounces off and hits another dropkick, this time basement style, knocking Damian back.

Sharper: “Another dropkick. Damian in trouble. Adam Allocco with the assist.”

Knots: “Of course! That’s all he knows how to do. Meddle.”

Sharper: “And now, no cover, but instead, more punishment!”

Gavin runs to the ropes, jumping to the middle rope and diving back with a fall back elbow drop. The crowd ohs. Gavin goes for the pin.

He runs into the ropes, bouncing off and Gavin suddenly bursts out and nails him with a Gavin Taylor Lariat. He goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor with the lariat!”

Knots: “The Gavin Taylor Lariat!”

Sharper: “What a name…good lord. Now the cover!”

Adam hops onto the apron and Damian runs over and nails him with a hard right. The crowd roars. Damian spins around and Gavin goes for a running clothesline, but Damian blocks it and knees him in the ribs, grabs his head and hits a snap bulldog. Gavin rolls over as Damian starts to get up and the crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Damian Angel with a hell of a volley! Coming unglued here and this crowd rising to their feet!”

Knots: “Gavin thought he had a moment! Damian said no and the Archangel Michael of Professional Wrestling aint looking so hot!”

Damian Angel looks around as Adam starts to get up and moves to the ring. As he does, the crowd roars as we see Alistaire Allocco running over and going to stop him. He pulls him back. Adam steps back and turns and goes to swing. Alistaire just looks at Adam as Adam stops. Damian meanwhile watches this and looks at Alistaire, noticing that Alistaire won’t hit his father. Damian turns back to Gavin and he goes for the Bitter End, but Gavin ducks and spins through and rolls Damian up with a school boy. He pulls on the tights.

Adam immediately drops down and rolls out of the ring to the next side of it. Gavin rolls to the floor, extending his arms. Adam, in over the top fashion, starts to celebrate with Gavin.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Gavin Taylor!”

Sharper: “Gavin had the tights! He had the tights!”

Knots: “And Damian hesitated. He noticed that Alistaire would not attack his father.”

Sharper: “Or that Adam did throw a punch at him!”

Knots: “And then Gavin stole it. And he’s two and oh against the Devil!”

Gavin holds two fingers up and holds his arm up as Adam celebrates with him. Alistaire looks atr him, shaking his head. Damian gets up and turns to Alistaire, looking at him.

Sharper: “And Damian now a bit upset with Alistaire?”

Knots: “Is it being upset or realizing what this Sunday could be when they four go at it? There are going to be some things the Allocco’s may not do. Competition or not.”

Gavin keeps celebrating as Adam hugs him before holding his arm up and we cut away.

Backstage, Bree Lancaster is with Jordan Majors, who is in her wrestling gear.

Jordan: “Bree…I need to catch up with Jake.”

Bree: “I know. This won’t take long. Do it as a favour for me? Look, I’ve always looked out for you. I’m doing it here. This Sunday, it’s going to be a big night. For you, for me….for Sienna too.”

Jordan sighs.

Jordan: “I’m not sure I care too much there.”

Bree: “She’s facing your brother. You can’t tell me that match worries you. Look, it’s an opportunity to clear the air.”

Jordan: “I already plan to not get involved. I have my own match.”

Bree: “Good. Tell her that. Maybe we can end this being pulled in two directions. I mean you know what I think, Sienna thinks-“

Jordan: “And that’s the issue. What Sienna thinks.”

Bree: “Sienna is in a bad place. Xiomara’s there. Glory will be there. Scott! You know Scott. I trust Scott.”

Scott smiles as he stands to the side.

Bree: “I need to take care of some business with James, but I’ll join you guys when I’m done and we can clear the air. Try to get everyone on track. Okay?”

Jordan: “As long as I’m good to be out there with Jake. Then fine.”

Bree: “Of course.”

Jordan: “Fine…for you.”

Bree smiles and walks with Jordan. Bree turns to Scott. Scott nods and the trio head off as we cut away.

Backstage, Jaina walks down one of the hallways.

Jaina: “I am hoping to get a hold of Datura. I’ve been told to expect her here. A bit of an odd location…”

Datura: “But you’re right.”

Jaina turns and looks around before seeing Datura sitting on a storage crate, shadowed by the wall. Jaina walks over.

Datura: “No need to be afraid. But I wanted to speak, at least to the world, because it seems some feel entitled to their contest this Sunday.”

Datura shakes her head.

Datura: “Jay Gold thinks that he has an issue worth a damn against Shilo Valiant. Because he represents some dated representation. A banner he can drape himself in. Aaron Blackbourne can at least respect and frankly, with him and I, we had much unfinished business, given our creative exploits never could be displayed. But Shilo Valiant elected to attack me and usurp my appearance for an ambush, all for what? Because he could I suppose. And last week, I nearly decapitated him. A shame Jay thinks he should be in the ring with us. I plan to dispatch him of that foolish idea. But as for Shilo and Aaron…they can have their issue way a bit longer. What’s a bit more after everything else. Because I plan to make Shilo regret. The most powerful of emotions…and he will regret ever attacking me for his simple ambush.”

Jaina: “Anything further?”

Datura: “No…you can leave. Leave me with my thoughts.”

Jaina: “Very well. Thank you for your time.”

Jaina backs away before we cut away.

Backstage, we see Blake Mason backstage, with Jaxson Sullivan. He walks over to one locker room and knocks on the door. A few moments pass before the door opens and Amy Chastaine opens the door.

Amy: “Blake?”

Blake: “Amy. Is Kelsai available for a moment?”

Amy: “I figured we’d do this meeting in your luxury suite.”

Blake: “Not something I looked into here. Plus, after last week, needed to hit the pavement if you will.”

Amy: “Hold on.”

Amy steps back and the door closes. A few moments pass before the door reopens and Amy and Kelsai walk out.

Kelsai: “Hi brother!”

Blake: “Hi Kelsai. Look, I assume you heard Tommy and Kandis.”

Amy: “We’ve had the show on like everyone else.”

Kelsai: “It’s so sweet you’re looking out for me, but I’m good. And this Sunday, we can focus on giving them the best match possible. Stealing the show.”

Blake: “I’d rather steal the titles.”

Kelsai: “Well of course but-“

Blake: “Now Kelsai…”

Blake sighs.

Blake: “It’s great that you’re happy and wanting to compete and you’ve been facing some of the best here in recent weeks. But if you’re happy coming close and losing…that’s just not good enough at this level. We’re about to face the Tag Team Champions. The champions that attacked me with their titles because they don’t respect us…they don’t respect you.”

Amy: “Blake…”

Blake: “Sorry, but I feel I need to be blunt here.”

Kelsai: “And I think you need to remember I’m not a child, mister. Just because I’m happy, I’m bubbly, I want to have a good match, doesn’t mean I don’t want to win. Do I like the fact that they didn’t respect me? That Tommy wouldn’t shake my hand? That he attacked you? No! But at first, I was just going to chalk it up to one thing…people who suck. People who needed to have their eyes opened. You made it personal. I don’t need a big brother watching over me. I have Amy to guide me. And she knows I’ll make mistakes. But it seems like you’re making mistakes. First Damian, now this…yeah, it got us a title match, but are you in the right place for it?”

Amy: “Kelsai…”

Blake: “No…she’s right. I need to remember she’s more than her outside exterior is. And if she can stand on her own, then this Sunday, we’ll be fine. I just need to know where her head is at.”

Kelsai: “It’s on showing up this Sunday to open eyes.”

Blake: “Good…I’ll let you two enjoy the rest of the show.”

Amy: “Blake, you don’t-“

Blake nods and walks off as Jaxson Sullivan follows him too. Kelsai watches him leave before turning to Amy.

Kelsai: “Was I?”

Amy: “No. You stood up for yourself. Something you needed to do.”

Kelsai turns back to watch where Blake went before we cut away.

Breakdown cuts to the ring as the lights dim as a voice backed by piano music fill the arena.

{That's the price you pay.... Leave behind your heartache, cast away
Just another product of today.... Rather be the hunter than the prey
And you're standing on the edge, face up... 'cause you're a NATURAL}

As the heavy music of Imagine Dragons kicks in the lights come back up and Bree Lancaster is standing on the stage, her arms spread wide, the United States Championship belt around her waist. Bree looks up as white sparks shower down behind her from the top of the set to the stage. The crowd boos loudly as Bree heads to the ring.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster arranging a meeting between Jordan Majors and Sienna Swann just before coming out here and I’m sure to make clear her thoughts going into Cold Blooded.”

Knots: “Yeah. Well she already got her receipt. That was last week.”

Sharper: “Take a look at this!”

LAST WEEK – BREAKDOWN

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. James Evans steps forward and falls to a knee. He then gets up as the crowd starts to boo. We cut to a wide shot to see Bree Lancaster rolling into the ring, holding her US Championship. James backs up only for Bree to run at him and drill him as hard as she can in the back of the head. James falls to the mat, holding the back of his head. Aaron Demitra calls for the bell. The bell sounds and the crowd boos.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster made everyone believe she was away on an event with her boyfriend. She was in Mexico City and took the opportunity to attack James Evans as he was having a war with Xander Valentine!”

Knots: “Yeah and Xander wasn’t pleased, but Bree Lancaster was thrilled. James Evans we believe suffered a concussion thanks to that shot.”

Bree rolls over and drops to the floor. She spins around, holding her US championship up before turning and smiling as James holds his head in pain. The Breakdown logo comes up.

Bree Lancaster is in the ring, smiling, holding a microphone in her hand. She looks around as the crowd boos.

Bree: “I realize we’re in a place like this, but given who I am, what I hold, and what I will hold as of this Sunday, you should probably show some respect!”

The crowd boos loudly as Bree looks around. The boos continue to resound for several moments before Bree continues.

Bree: “Thank God I’ll be coming home to New Orleans this Sunday to WIN the SCW World Championship!”

The crowd boos some more.

Bree: “And it all comes because James Evans made the single worst decision in his life. He attacked me, from behind, like a coward, and got lucky as hell in the Thunderdome. But that’s fine, because I will happily take his World Championship this Sunday and give this company a champion to be proud of. And best of all…I can focus on doing just that. I already got my receipt. I don’t need to worry about making sure James Evans realizes just how badly he’s screwed up in that match because he knows it. The headaches for the last few days. I’m sure you remember them. But it’s fine. Couldn’t answer the count this time. You stayed down when I put you down and this Sunday, in MY HOME, I’ll do it again!”

The crowd boos. Bree looks around.

Bree: “Many of you here would never know what that means. I mean no one here has ever dreamed big. Ever actually stood up and become the very best at what they do. And I’m not going to put the Clintons in this…please…Hardly the best at what they do. No…I will be WORLD CHAMPION and I will do it at home. In front of my adoring fans. My family. All cheering me on. While many of you here in Arkansas will just be trying to figure out how to turn your televisions on or off, I will setting a new standard for greatness and finishing the job that Sienna Swann started and this company has been hoping never completes.”

Knots: “Then why would they sign the match you idiot!”

Bree: “And that’s ending this fraud’s title reign and in the process, crowning myself as a DOUBLE CHAMPION. The Champion of Breemerica and the WORLD.”

Bree smiles. Just then, “Door to Door Cannibals” by Chevelle plays and the crowd roars. A few moments pass before James Evans walks out from the back, wearing a hoodie, and the SCW World Championship over his shoulder. He has a microphone in his hand. He steps out as Bree turns and looks at him.

Sharper: “Looks like the World Champion has heard enough.”

Knots: “We all have.”

James Evans walks over to the ring and grabs the ropes. He steps up onto the apron.

Bree: “Hold it there…”

James Evans then steps into the ring. Bree backs up and steps through the ropes and down to the floor. The crowd boos as Bree backs up and glares at the crowd.

Bree: “Like hell I’m standing in that ring before we face this Sunday. I know what you’ve done. Just like when you tried to take out Syren at the Chamber. She deserved it, but the fact is that I know you’ll take the easy way out as you always have. So you can stay that far away from me, because I’m not going to give you any opportunity to get a cheap shot in, just like at Retribution, so you can save your title reign.”

James: “Bree…I don’t need to do a damn thing to you tonight!”

The crowd roars. Bree just glares at James.

James: “I hope you remember last week. Internalize that moment. That moment where you took that US Championship and struck me in the skull with it. Because that’s the moment that you made sure that you’re not walking out US Champion.”

The crowd roars.

James: “Because you clearly weren’t paying attention at Retribution…I am not going to let walk out with this title, and now your title, this Sunday, unless you know me out. I will keep coming. And I will keep fighting. And Bree, this Sunday, all you’ve guaranteed is that I am going to do EVERYTHING in my power to make sure, IN YOUR HOME TOWN, as you love to yell out proudly, that you are A FAILURE!”

Bree: “Someone is all cocky now!”

James: “And you won’t have anyone to blame but yourself when you took that title and slammed it into my skull. Because just like Sienna fell short with all of the odds in her favour, I thrive when I’m in enemy territory and Bree…I hope you have plans to cry in the arms of your boyfriend or maybe Scott. Because you won’t have any excuses when I plant you in the middle of this ring and take your US Title and stand as a double champion at YOUR expense!”

James smirks. He then slowly turns around.

James: “That is unless you want to prove YOU need the cheap shot to get ahead.”

James extends his arms and looks away from Bree. Bree looks at the US championship around her waist and unfastens it. She then slowly pulls it up and to her hand. She looks at the ring before seeing James smiling on the big screen. Bree then shakes her head. The crowd boos as Bree walks around the ring and then outside of microphone pickup, she yells at James.

Bree: “No…Not going to give you an excuse when YOU FAIL!”

Bree walks around the ring. James smirks and looks at Bree, straightening the World Championship over his shoulder.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster leaving the ring. She’s clearly not going to risk anything.”

Knots: “She wants that title. She’s wanted it for years. She’s close, but James Evans happily challenging her and he’s not backing down an inch.”

Sharper: “Bree didn’t take the open shot. James may have been planning to send a different message. Was it a bluff? Was it not? We won’t know, but this Sunday, we will know that one of these two could very well be holding two SCW Titles!”

James watches Bree as Bree Lancaster walks to the back, glaring at the crowd. She then points to her title before motioning she’s coming for the World Championship as James remains stoic in the ring and the scene cuts away.

Sharper: “Now let’s go backstage where Jessica Winters is standing by with Xander Valentne.”

Jessica Winters is backstage in the SCW interview area.

Jessica: “Thank you Adam. I’m here with Xander Valentine. This Sunday, you face Regan Street in a street fight.”

Xander: “Seems like she has a death wish. I can almost respect that. The problem is that she’s just piggybacking on her husband’s idea of vengeance or heroism. And it will simply be her downfall. Then again, she may also be following Selena Frost, hoping that if she fights me on a battlefield where I can do anything I wish, she can earn my respect.”

Xander pauses.

Xander: “What am I kidding? She just wants to try and destroy me when she has no clue how so she can grasp at a straw. There will be no officials stopping us this Sunday. There will be nothing ending this outside of the sound of a ring bell and Regan, I don’t know if you have the mettle that Selena had. And frankly, I still have a desire for a true fight. Bree Lancaster took that from me last week…a mistake I will not forget…but you, can you give it to me or will we see a lot of volume and noise for little actual bang. Sizzle over the steak. We’ll find out. But Regan…if I’m proven right, trust me when I say, you’ll feel it and you’ll rrgret choosing to stay in the ring in SCW. But…until then…good luck tonight.”

Xander turns to Jessica before calmly walking off camera, joining Artemis and heading off. The crowd boos as we cut away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Jordan Majors leaving the locker room of Sienna Swann. Jordan sighs.

Jordan: “Look, I knew that this wouldn’t go anywhere. We just watched Bree’s promo. We can talk later!”

Bree then comes over to Jordan.

Bree: “Jordan…sorry. Tried to get out of there but James had to make it about him. Please tell me this worked out.”

Jordan: “It didn’t and now I have to-“

Sienna: “Jordan. I’m sorry.”

Jordan stops and turns as Bree smiles a bit.

Jordan: “Say that again?”

Sienna steps forward.

Sienna: “I’m sorry. I should not have come at you as I did a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t handle losing well and…it got to me. I’d like to cut through this and clear the air. Independent of this Sunday.”

Jordan sighs. Bree turns to her.

Bree: “Please. It takes a lot for her to say sorry like this. A lot.”

Jordan: “My match…”

Bree: “It will only be a moment. By the time entrances are done…”

Sienna: “Please…five minutes at moment.”

Jordan: “Two…”

Bree leads Jordan in as Sienna holds the door open. Sienna looks past Bree as Bree leads Jordan in. Sienna smirks as the camera catches her face and we cut to the ring.

Jake Starr & Jordan Majors vs. Las Bandidas de Gata Negra

The lights dim a bit as Nada Como Tú begins to play, a bit of fog slowly beginning to form on the stage as golden orange lights pulse in rhythm with the guitars. Slowly, we see a figure crawling through it, almost like a cat trying to remain hidden before it pounces on its prey. When the main beat of the song kicks in, the figure picks up the pace until she reaches the end of the stage, crouching as she's far enough away from the fog to reveal herself to be Maria Vencejo. Not too far behind her is Valeria Garcia, her eyes slowly roaming over the fans with a cold, emotionless look. She looks down at Maria and a smile actually forms on her lips as she reaches down and helps her partner to a stand as the lyrics begin.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are the team of Maria Vencejo and Valeria Garcia, Las Bandidas de Gata Negra!”

The two of them begin making their way down to the ring, Maria staying ahead of Valeria and moving quicker as though she were energized by the song while Valeria maintains her slow, calculating approach. Maria slides into the ring before rolling into a kip-up, and Valeria slides in right behind her, pausing as she and Maria smile at one another before Maria helps her partner to her feet before twisting her around so the two are both facing the same way, Valeria in front of Maria. The two slowly back into their corner like this before separating to discuss strategy.

Sharper: “Las Bandidas returning to the ring a couple of weeks ago. Walking out victorious. And now they’re trying to work back up to where they were to start the year, as number one contenders.”

Knots: “They’ll have a chance to get a big one against a Hall of Famer and the SCW Adrenaline Champion. If they’re even on the same page. If Jordan even makes it out here!”

The opening chords of "Sound of Madness" by Shinedown begin to echo throughout the stadium. With each opening drum beat, the logo of the Social Misfits flashes on the jumbotron...

Yeah, I get it you're an outcast
Always under attack always coming in last
Bringing up the past no one owes you anything
I think you need a shotgun blast a kick in the ass
So paranoid

WATCH YOUR BACK!

With those words, an explosion or pyro shoots high into the air from the stage and in front of the stage in another wall of sparks. Lights start to circle the arena as several spotlights turn to the stage. Jake Starr walks out from the back and looks around. He just smiles and nods. He surveys the crowd, feeling their energy and absorbing it all in. His nameplate comes up as Jake Starr starts to head down to the ring. He makes his way down the rampway before going to the guardrail and fist bumping a few fans and then going to the other side before doing the same.

Phillips: “Their opponents, first, from Des Moines, he is Jake Starr!”

The crowd cheers as Starr runs over to the ring and jumps up onto the apron. He steps into the ring. He immediately makes his way to the far corner, climbing to the top rope. As the chorus hits, a spotlights illuminate Jake and he simply stands there looking around at the fans with a smirk on his face. He points at himself, and ultimately yells the words "I'M NOT DEAD YET!" He looks around, continuing to soak up the energy from the crowd before beating on his chest twice, and raises his "Misfit Revolution Fist" high into the air, a gesture mimicked by many fans in the crowd who have been supporters over the years. After this, he goes camera side and climbs on the middle rope raising his arm one more time. He looks around before hopping down and walking around the ring.

Sharper: “Jake Starr coming out and acting like everything is normal, but Jordan Majors right now is with Sienna Swann.”

Knots: “She’s need to be careful. They’ll take her down. Sienna doesn’t like others rising up and she’s one.”

Sharper: “What do you say about Bree then?”

Knots: “Bree’s not Jake’s sister and Sienna Swann has decided to make Jake her new target.”

Valeria and Maria look across the ring as Starr looks on as he turns to the entrance way. The lights go down and flash purple as "Nightmare" by Halsey starts to play.

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord, my soul to keep
If I shall die before I 'wake
I pray the Lord, my soul to take

The music continues as Jake waits. A few moments pass before Jake looks down, shaking his head. He then backs up as he turns to the official. The bell sounds as Jake turns but Maria and Valeria both run over and drop down and hit a double drop toe hold. Valeria moves to a side headlock as Maria starts to stomp at the lower back of Jake. The crowd boos loudly.

Sharper: “Jordan not coming out. The bell sounding. This is apparently going to be handicap rules.”

Knots: “Majors still could get there, but you know Sienna is going to keep her distracted.”

Sharper: “And Las Bandidas are hammering away, destroying Jake Starr!”

Maria gets a few more stomps in as Valeria hammers away at the back of Starr’s head. The official gets Maria away as Maria walks around the ring. Valeria gets up and stomps Starr in the back of the head and then again. Starr rolls over and moves to the neutral corner. Valeria follows up and stomps him in the face before stomping him in the chest over and over and over again. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “They are dissecting Jake Starr!”

Knots: “They know they could pin a hall of famer. And in the books, this is a tag match. If that means they end Jake’s career, great. And Sienna has to love it!”

Sharper: “But Jake won’t give up. He’s a fighter. Everything he’s been through, fighting back from that, his personal issues, to get back here. He’s not going to go down without a fight.”

Knots: “He may not have much fight left! God!”

Maria goes for the pin.

Maria keeps the official distracted as the crowd boos.

Sharper: “Jake just getting overwhelmed.”

Starr turns as Maria starts to turn back. Valeria backs away as the official walks over. Maria rolls to the floor. (1) She grabs Jake and throws him back into the barricade. The crowd boos. Sharper: “Starr! Caught Maria Vencejo!”

Knots: “And she’s thrown for a loop. An opening. He even moved to the apron to figure it out!”

Maria slowly gets up and Starr springboards to the top rope and dives forward with a missile dropkick. Maria falls back and rolls through and to Valeria. Valeria tags herself in. She enters and Starr gets up as Valeria runs at him. Starr hoists her up and hits a flapjack. Valeria pops up and turns around and Starr kicks her in the ribs and hits a DDT. He goes for the pin.

Maria breaks it up. Starr rolls off. Maria gets up and forearms him in the jaw and then again before backing up and going to run at him, but Starr lowers his head and back drops her up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd cheers. Valeria gets up and Starr steps up and kicks her in the ribs before hoisting her up and hitting a gutwrench sitout powerbomb!

Sharper: “Starr fighting! Fighting to get through this match. To get a win!”

Knots: “And planting Valeria Garcia! Cover!”

Sharper: “There’s the cover!”

1!

Valeria gets her shoulder up and rolls over. Starr falls back. He gets up. Valeria pulls herself up and Starr kicks her in the ribs. She drops to her knees. Starr runs into the ropes, but Maria trips him up. Starr stumbles forward and Valeria gets up and grabs him and hooks the arm and then pulls back into a cobra clutch before pulling him back into his knee. He rolls over, but Valeria holds on, rolling with him, locking in a cobra clutch camel clutch. The crowd boos as Starr grimaces and looks up. He grabs at the arm of Valeria as Valeria keeps pulling back.

Sharper: “Valeria Garcia taking advantage and now Starr again…”

Knots: “Just trying to cut the life out from him. Can’t have heart if you’re not getting air!”

The referee checks on Starr as Starr grimaces in pain. The crowd then roars as we see Jordan Majors, holding the SCW Adrenaline Championship, running down from the back. She drops the title in the entrance way and slides into the ring. The referee gets up and Jordan stomps Valeria in the back and then again and again before she lets go. The official gets Majors back, pointing to her corner. Majors looks around and quickly turns and exits to the apron. Starr looks around, rolling over as Majors grabs the tag rope and extends her arm.

Sharper: “Majors! Coming down! She got away from Swann and maybe just in time, helping her brother!”

Knots: “Broke up the hold, but she needs to tag in. She can’t just run wild!”

Majors keeps extending her arm. Starr then starts to crawl over as Maria grabs at the leg from the floor. The official tells her to let go, but Starr kicks free and reaches out and tags in Majors. Majors enters as the crowd cheers. Valeria gets up and Majors steps forward and hits a spinning back kick to the ribs. Maria rolls in and runs at her and Majors hits a chick kick to the head. Maria hits the mat. Majors turns and forearms Valeria in the jaw twice before turning back to Maria who gets up and hits a dropkick. Maria rolls to the floor. Valeria turns back and Majors kicks her in the ribs and hits the falcon arrow into a pin.

Maria rolls in and breaks it up.

Sharper: “Majors planted Valeria Garcia, but Vencejo with the break up!”

Knots: “Majors, all fresh, and so clearly with a bit of an edge. Plus the adrenaline!”

Majors rolls over. She starts to get up and Maria gets up and nails her with a forearm shot and then another before grabbing Majors and pushing her into the ropes. She fires her off, but Majors bounces off the other side and jumps up and hits a flying clothesline. She gets upas Valeria stirs and Majors goes for the Cash-Out, but Valeria counters it and fires her off into the ropes. Majors bounces off and Valeria hits a straight kick to the ribs. She grabs her head and then goes to lift her up, but we see Jake Starr grabbing steel chair and rolling into the ring. Valeria quickly throws Jordan down and pushes her away as Starr swings in Valeria’s direction. The crowd ohs as the bell sounds. Jake then steps forward as Maria rolls out of the ring. Jordan rolls over and looks at her brother as Jake throws the chair down in frustration. He then steps back and sits down on the ropes, looking at her sister.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via disqualification, Las Bandidas de Gata Negra!”

The crowd boos as Valeria smirks and holds her arm up. Maria heads over and joins her.

Knots: “Starr just having enough?”

Sharper: “Seems so. But it’s frustration. I don’t get this.”

Knots: “He effectively just ended the match. Took the DQ. Majors came down. She was in trouble.”

Jake just keeps looking at Jordan. Jordan gets up and can be seen saying “why?” Starr points to him and then Jordan before pointing to the Adrenaline Championship in the entrance way. He then walks around, hands on his hips as Jordan looks confused and the scene cuts away.

Blake Mason can be seen on his phone, texting someone, looking a bit annoyed, before we hear Jaxson Sullivan’s voice.

Sullivan: “Sir, you can’t bother Mr. Mason.”

???: “Big man needs a bodyguard now?”

Blake looks up.

Blake: “You can let him past.”

Jaxson turns as Josh Hudson walks forward. The crowd roars and some boo.

Hudson: “This is cute. Looking at your phone. Did you get yelled at?”

Blake: “You saw that?”

Hudson: “Been seeing a lot. Didn’t know you turned into a chicken with his head cut off.”

Blake: “Forgot that some things don’t change. And there will always be assholes looking to get involved with people I care about.”

Hudson: “Just not the one’s you used to care about.”

Blake: “You know exactly why.”

Hudson: “Probably. Just figured I’d show up. See whether there’s a chance for a little return. I mean if Cruze can get his ass here, I can still have more. And well, you and I, we had a bit of a deal.”

Blake: “I remember.”

Hudson: “I’m not sure. Might not be much left of you. Then again, you could also hold gold as of this Sunday.”

Blake: “With family.”

Hudson: “I heard. Just figured I’d see you face to face. And hope that I don’t have to disrespect you or your family to get that match we promised each other about.”

Blake: “Yeah yeah…Enjoy saying hi to others.”

Hudson smirks and heads off as the scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Jake Starr walking backstage, annoyed. Jordan Majors is a few steps behind.

Majors: “Look! I’m sorry!”

Starr turns.

Starr: “Are you? Because you knew damn well what they were going to do. Find some way to keep you backstage so I’d get my ass kicked and hopefully be weaker for the weekend! That’s why I finally had it. I’m not going to keep fighting when we’re both at risk this Sunday, but mainly because we’re damn sure not on the same page! Not going to run into more brick walls tonight!”

We then see Peyton Rice down the hallway, watching the scene unfold.

Majors: “I figured it may be genuine. Some way that I don’t have to pick between family and friends.”

Starr: “They’re still friends? You still trust them? After one threatened to fire you? The other one lied to you!”

Majors: “She didn’t lie to me.”

Peyton: “Jordan…”

Jordan stops and turns.

Majors: “Peyton, not now. I’m trying to speak with my brother, who keeps putting me in a bad place.”

Peyton: “With all due respect, you’re doing that.”

Kelcey Wallace comes out of the room that Peyton was in and walks over.

Majors: “Not your issue.”

Kelcey: “Peyton’s right. Sienna is manipulating you.”

Peyton: “And if Bree didn’t realize that would happen, she’s either an idiot or naïve. And I don’t think she’s either.”

Starr: “I don’t either and you’re letting yourself get conned by her to screw me over!”

Starr storms off as Jordan turns to him.

Majors: “Have you ever been caught between two friends? Other people you’re close to.”

Starr stops and turns.

Starr: “There’s a lot I’ve been caught in. And that’s why some of what I say comes from experience. But right now, all I know is this Sunday, I have all the more reason to deflate Swann’s ego. Now, you can either cheer me on or not. They’ve already decided what that all means and Jordan…at some point, you need to decide or you’ll end up with no one. You’re defending your Adrenaline title…a title I have a lot of pride in and I was happy for you. But I don’t know where your head is at.”

Peyton: “And I want to face the Jordan Majors that was shutting everyone up earlier this year. I don’t want to come to Breakdown, holding your title, asking myself, if I won because you were thinking about something else.”

Majors: “You don’t need to worry about that. After what we’ve been through, you should know plenty and Jake-“

Majors turns to Jake, but he’s already walked off. Majors sighs.

Peyton: “Jordan, if you want my two cents, this is simple. Jake may be rough, but he’s at least been honest with you. Bree…she played you today. She’s nothing but a snake.”

???: “Nice of you to chime in with that opinion.”

Jaina Lancaster walks over, microphone in her hand.

Jaina: “I was sent to get an interview with Jordan. But well…good to hear you’re sticking your nose in things that I know plenty about.”

Peyton just looks at Jaina.

Jaina: “Come on. Seems like you need someone not to tell you what you need to do for a bit.”

Jordan nods and follows Jaina as we cut away.

Scarlet Grey vs. Konrad Raab

“Cold as Ice” by M.O.P plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain just wearing his red, green and blue mask along with his wrestling trousers with his nickname The Iced Rainbow on the front of them with Pit Bull Energy logos on the side of his trousers with black gloves on both of his hands with a side cross necklace on his neck with the blue and black yin-yang tattoo on his right shoulder, Iceman from X-Men tattoo on his back, ice wolf on his left chest and ice bear on his right chest.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, from Cologne, Germany, he is The Iced Rainbow, Konrad Raab!”

He ignores the fans due to his focus on wanting to fight in the ring. He goes up the stairs before going in-between the ropes before sitting down in the corner of the ring with the crowd cheering for him, having a nasty look in his eyes waiting for the match to start.

Sharper: “Konrad Raab will have her opportunity to get his hands on Katie Steward inside a steal cage this Sunday. Katie has not been pleased about that decision.”

Knots: “But this isn’t a cage match and we know the Stewards will do anything to help her. Katie could have something planned!”

Nymphetamine (Deva-Fix)” begins to play, and once the guitars kick in the lights dim just enough for red and white lights to stand out as they sway across the stage. Out from the back saunters Scarlet Grey, a smirk on her lips as she purposely sways her hips, drawing the gaze of every fan in the arena as they are entranced by the mere sight of her walking down the ramp, putting every runway model in existence to shame without even actually trying.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Parts Unknown, Scarlet Grey!”

She slowly walks up the steps before stepping between the top and second ropes, taking her sweet time with it to show off not only her ample display of cleavage but also the greatest ass god himself ever created for a woman. Once she's in the ring she waits in the corner, eyes moving over to the referee with a look that's just begging for him to come over and 'inspect' her for foreign objects.

Sharper: “Scarlet Grey may even remind Konrad of some aspects of Katie’s character, but he needs to focus on tonight.”

Knots: “He’s facing Scarlet though. Not Void.”

Sharper: “I don’t think so. Though that situation is unique to say the least.”

The bell sounds. Scarlet leans back, intentionally drawing attention to her figure, as she walks out along the ropes. Konrad looks at her and steps forward, ready to compete. The two look at one another and Konrad lunges. Scarlet ducks down and spins around, pressing herself against Konrad before dropping down into a drop toe hold. Konrad hits the mat. Scarlet moves into a side headlock. She presses herself against him. Konrad gets a bit annoyed, pushing on her before rolling over and snapping her off. She rolls through. Konrad gets up and Scarlet moves into another side headlock, pressing herself on him. She smirks a bit. Konrad lifts her up and falls back into the ropes before using them to fire her off. Scarlet hits the mat and Konrad catches her with a European uppercut on the rebound. Scarlet hits the mat and rolls over, holding her jaw and moving to the ropes.

Sharper: “Scarlet playing right to Konrad. Trying to press up against him.”

Knots: “Trying to make him uncomfortable. We all know how much family means to him.”

Sharper: “She’s trying to get him riled up. Why on earth would you do that?!”

Knots: “Unless you’re hoping he becomes completely distracted and we’ve seen that!”

Scarlet gets up and Konrad grabs her and spins her around before whipping her across the ring. She bounces off and Konrad hits a back body drop. Scarlet rolls over. She starts to get up and turns around and Konrad nails her with another European uppercut. Scarlet hits the mat. Konrad goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Scarlet with a unique cover…”

Sharper: “And Konrad forcibly shoving her off.”

Konrad rolls over and gets up and Scarlet hits a quick dropkick. Konrad falls back. He rolls tgo the ropes and starts to get up and Scarlet gets up and forearms him in the back of the head and then again before pulling him back and into a reverse DDT, pressing her breasts in his face again.

Sharper: “Nearfall! Grey may be in Raab’s head.”

Knots: “She’s living in there, and building IKEA furniture.”

Konrad starts to get up and Scarlet dropkicks him down again. He rolls over and starts to get up as the crowd boos. Scarlet grabs him from behind and tries to go for the Scarlet Fever. She pulls back, but Konrad blocks it and keeps fighting before ducking down and lifting her up and hitting a standing fireman’s carry takeover. Scarlet rolls over and gets up and Konrad kicks her in the ribs and takes her over with a vertical suplex. Scarlet stirs and gets up and Konrad grabs her from behind and hits a release German suplex. Sharper: “Konrad sandwiching Scarlet hard in the corner.”

Knots: “She didn’t like it when he pressed himself against her!”

Sharper: “Just all of his weight.”

Scarlet slowly gets up, crawling forward before starting to get up and Konrad hoists her up and hits a back suplex. He rolls over and gets up and turns and exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope. Scarlet remains down. Konrad goes for a diving elbow drop. Scarlet moves out of the way. Konrad hits hard. Scarlet goes for the pin quickly.

Scarlet gets her shoulder up.

Sharper: “Another nearfall! Konrad just hoisting her up and planting her with the powerslam, but only two!”

Knots: “Just isn’t wasting. Isn’t going to let Scarlet playing her games if he can help it!”

Konrad gets up and Scarlet rolls over. She starts to get up and Konrad grabs her and drags her up before running her over to the corner and driving her face first into the corner. Scarlet turns. Konrad grabs her and then starts to knee her in the corner over and over.

Sharper: “Not again! Konrad almost went to take out the official!”

Knots: “Stopped himself this time. Katie’s got him all bent out of shape!”

Konrad then turns back and Scarlet blasts him with one of her gauntlets, having putting it on while the official and Raab were having their moment. The official turns around as Scarlet throws the gauntlet off and goes for the pin.

Konrad kicks out just after three and Scarlet rolls out of the ring. She then backs up and smiles, laughing. Konrad turns and grimaces, holding his jaw.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Scarlet Grey!”

Sharper: “And Grey steals it, using those gauntlets she wears to the ring. She knew where she was. She was in her corner!”

Knots: “And the sooner Konrad can get past Katie the better. It’s completely thrown him off. He’s just pure rage half the time!”

Scarlet just smirks looking at Konrad. Konrad gets up and falls to the ropes, annoyed and angered.

Knots: “He may be even more enraged for this Sunday!”

Backstage, we see Jessica Winters standing by with Katie Steward. Katie looks around, clearly unhappy.

Jessica: “I’m here with Katie Steward and Katie, it’s official, you will face Konrad Raab in a steel cage match this Sunday.”

Katie: “This isn’t what I wrote. This isn’t what I wanted. I was supposed to have him go, have his baby, and then show that there aren’t happy endings, unless you believe in their Queen! But now…now…I have to return to that…that cage for what I’ve done. All of this…it screams the way things were before. Where everyone was jealous and looking for ways to bring me down. But that’s fine…I’ll find a way to overcome. I’ll just have to do a winning performance…”

Katie looks around as Jessica steps back a bit.

Katie: “Konrad…a lot of people think he’ll take me out. No…I’ll just have to take down the brute. Show everyone what its like to fight like a girl. Oh yes…just brilliant. I can show everyone how to stand up for yourself and be just like their Queen. That’s right…step into the cage and get through Konrad.”

Jessica: “Wait, you’re talking about becoming a role model? You tricked a man into thinking his wife was giving birth!”

Katie: “No one cares about that. Now I’m in a cage match. A brutal match and for what? Because people want to see me fall. Not going to happen. I will rise up, oh yes. I will smite Konrad Raab and give people every reason to believe in me. And this Sunday, you too can even commemorate this moment by buying your own patented Katie Steward prayer beads. Stand alongside and cheer for me as I take on this attacker. This fiend. Oh yes…this is perfect.”

Katie smiles and walks off as Jessica Winters looks at her stunned and shakes her head and we cut away.

Backstage, we see Erik Holland leaving the trainer’s room. Lyric walks with him. Holland stretches a bit.

Lyric: “Nice for them to treat it.”

Holland: “Big leagues are always fun that way.”

Holland then turns as we see Scarlet Grey walking over. She smirks.

Scarlet: “Well…the new guy…did I hear that right? In there for some treatment? If it helps, I’m very good at massages.”

Scarlet leans in and Holland puts his hand up.

Holland: “Not interested.”

Scarlet: “No need to be shy. And well, we both seem to have some sides to us that some people don’t like and others that are going to get us into trouble.”

Scarlet leans in as she says it. Lyric just clears her throat. Scarlet steps back as Holland turns to Lyric. Scarlet then walks off, smirking.

Holland: “Some people need different treatments.”

Lyric: “You’re telling me.”

The scene cuts away.

Suddenly, the PA system fills with a song that hasn’t been heard in an SCW arena in almost a decade.

I want it all!
I want it all!
I want it all!
And I want it now!

The guitar riffs as Queen’s “I Want it All” starts up, the words “WORLD CLASS” appear on the screen. From behind the curtain steps out Matt Hodges in white button up and dress pants, held up by a pair of black suspenders. Hodges stops at the top of the ramp and surveys the crowd, in the midst of a momentous pop from the crowd. His former agent, Pete Ingram, walks out from behind the curtain to join him. They begin their walk to the ring. As they make their way down the ramp the crowd sings “Matt Hodges sucks! Matt Hodges sucks!” in tandem with the chorus of the song. Hodges stops and takes a look at the ring from the steps. He sighs a deep sigh, looks up pursing his lips in the midst of a great deal of emotion, and climbs the steps before stepping in between the second and third ropes. The song continues to play as he walks to the opposite side of the ring, putting his hand on the top rope. He smirks. Pete gets into the ring as he is handed a microphone from a ring hand. The music stops, but the pop is still very palpable for the Hall of Famer. He looks around the arena as the crowd continues to roar. Pete looks at Matt, gauging his reaction. He hands him the microphone and steps back, gesturing to the crowd. The crowd gets even hotter. Hodges lets this go on for several seconds.

Matt Hodges: “So. You guys do remember me.”

The crowd roars in approval.

Matt Hodges: “It’s been a long time. Almost, what, ten years, right? And you know, when you spend enough time away from something you love, from a craft you worked your entire life to perfect, you tend to do a little soul searching. You relive the fond memories of what you used to do and who you used to be. A nasty son of a bitch. A deity of technical professional wrestling. A man who would do anything to get to where he wanted to be. A man who would stab in the back, betray, lie, and cheat people he loved out of their dreams to take what was his. A man who reached the pinnacle of his profession. A Champion.”

He pauses.

Matt Hodges: “…Only to watch that Champion be given away to injuries. And then rehab. And then come back and have a stretch of good health. And then those old injuries would strike again. And then, surgery. Rehab. Come back. And then injured. Again. And again. And again. And then you have to listen to those people who you’ve surrounded yourself with, your family and friends, express their concerns for your health. And then, another injury and surgical procedure. And then, you’re not even given the courtesy of walking away on your terms. You have to hobble away. You can’t walk without popping in your knee. So in disgrace…you’re just done.”

“And then fast forward. After everything that I did, after betraying my best friend’s dream of winning Taking Hold of the Flame, after everything the guys in the locker room told dirt sheets about what a piece of trash I was, after the fans that jeered me and hurled obscenities at me…the industry that cast me as that nasty vindictive son of a bitch wanted… to celebrate me. Imagine that. From degenerate scumbag to Hall of Fame hero. Kind of makes you wonder why nobody could muster up the courage to give you the credit you deserved all along.”

The crowd is quieting down now.

Matt Hodges: “And then the day came when I was to be enshrined in professional wrestling’s memory. Something that should’ve meant the world to me felt hollow. And so, true to Matt Hodges…I didn’t go. I stayed at home and soaked my wounds in whiskey and Croatian hookers. I couldn’t be there because unlike that clown James Exeter, I didn’t get to walk away on my own terms. I was cut down way before my time. So that soul searching takes you to a dark place. Those “fond memories” become resentment. What I did, simply put, was I channeled all that resentment, I worked my ass off to strengthen my injuries, bucked up, spent hours upon hours upon hours at the gym, ate my veggies, and now not only am I healthy…I have full medical clearance.”

The crowd roars.

Matt Hodges: “And at 37 years old, I am in the best physical shape of my life. I’m in fighting shape. And so, from the bottom of my heart in front of god and everyone, I’d like to say…thank you.”

The crowd chants “WELCOME BACK!"

Matt Hodges: “Thank you…to me. Thank you to WORLD CLASS. MATT. HODGES. Not you.”

The cheers turn to confusion that turns to boos. Hodges begins to point to members in the audience as Pete Ingram laughs in the background.

Matt Hodges: “Not you, not you, not you, not you, not you, and especially, not you. Not any of you. Not ANY of you, and here’s why. Because I never needed your approval in the first place. It’s unimportant. Your collective opinion as a fan base makes me want to want to vomit so hard we’d have to important buckets from other countries to meet the demand.”

ASSHOLE! ASSHOLE! ASSHOLE!

Matt Hodges: “You pizza faced virgins hated me years ago and you booed me every chance you got, don't change now. If you have to be dimly lit morons, at least be consistent dimly lit morons.”

They shower him with boos now. The ASSHOLE chant starts back up.

Matt Hodges: “Oh you don't like that? Here. I'll do it with you! ASSHOLE! ASSHOLE! ASSHOLE! ASSHOLE!”

The crowd showers him with boos as he continues to point to different members of the audience.

Matt Hodges: “I didn’t do this for you back in 2007, I won’t do it for you now. If you think I spent four hours in a gym every day to wrestle in front of sycophantic morons, then you’re as delusional as you are poor. It's wonderful to see that the years haven't made the scumbags that consume this product any smarter. Hopefully you've at least learned how to use a toothbrush since I've been gone. Baby steps. I do this for “World Class” Matt Hodges, and not another god damned soul in this entire world. Not you, not you, not you, not you, not you. And I'm here to tell you, being that I'm in the best shape of my life, I'm coming to take my place back at the top, and there's not a damn thing anybody back there can do to stop—"

Rise!!!!
Look deep into his eyes!
Rise!!!!
Look deep into his eyes, that's where the fire lies!

“Eyes Like Fire” by Collision of Innocence starts to play. The crowd roars as Matt turns and Alistaire Allocco walks out from the back. He looks at Matt Hodges before starting to head to the ring.

Sharper: “Alistaire Allocco on his way to the ring? To confront Matt Hodges?!”

Knots: “Maybe. He’s walking down with purpose!”

Allocco reaches the ring and walks up the steel steps. He then steps into the ring. He looks across at Matt Hodges. Hodges looks at him with a bit of an arrogant smirk. Allocco walks across and asks for a microphone. He’s handed one and he takes it before heading back to Matt Hodges.

Hodges: “Hey…you’re Adam’s kid. Saw you’re having some daddy issues. Well you’re not a hot blonde so I don’t think I can do anything for you.”

Allocco: “No, Mr. Hodges, I’m here because I’ve been listening to your words and I think you sound very similar to another blowhard who needs to understand SCW is not going to be like that. Because I hear a lot of Gavin Taylor here, and well, I know, that’s an insult to you. You’ve spent time talking about your past and who you are. The problem is that just like my father, you don’t understand that 2020 is not 2007 or 2009 or 2012 or whenever else you’ve had your glory.”

The crowd roars.

Allocco: “Instead, I see someone standing in this ring, claiming to be World Class, when that may have defined one style a decade ago, but World Class comes in a different way and that’s by proving oneself in this ring.”

Hodges: “Sounds like a challenge.”

Hodges smirks.

Allocco: “I am happy to fill you into my schedule when I have a free date. Until then, consider this an opportunity. One where you can turn your attention to leaving a lasting contribution to this sport. Not one relying on a past that frankly is dated, antiquated and stemming from being well…an A-hole.”

Hodge: “A-hole? What are you five? Will dad spank you if you swear?”

Allocco: “I see no purpose in using profanity. In fact, I’d prefer to let my ringwork do all of the talking. And in fact, I’d say of the two of us, that’s where someone is World Class. Namely me.”

Hodges steps back, smirking, almost in awe of Allocco’s subtle confidence. He then turns back to him.

Hodges: “Well Junior…think that…and at some point, perhaps I can teach you a wrestling lesson. Just not here in well this hick town. But I’ll be watching this Sunday. Show me kid what the new way of doing things is.”

Hodges steps forward and pats him on the back. He then winks at him.

Hodges: “Show me kid.”

Hodges steps forward as “I Want It All” plays. The crowd cheers a bit as Hodges steps through the ropes and down to the floor. He then starts to head to the back. Allocco turns and watches him.

Sharper: “Hodges almost impressed by him, I’d say.”

Knots: “He’ll be watching this Sunday. I don’t think Allocco needed another thing to look out for though.”

Sharper: “You may be right there.”

Hodges walks to the back before we cut away.

Backstage, we see David Helms standing with Jessica Winters.

Jessica: “David, we’re moments away from a main event with two people you’re quite close to. Your wife, Regan, challenges your best friend, Tommy, for the SCW Television Championship. I hate to put you on the spot, but who do you have?”

David smirks.

David: “We’ll find out. But I’ll be watching with Selena and the Club and well, I expect a hell of a match. They both want to win. I know it’s gotten heated, but let’s just hope that it’s kept clean and we’re talking about this one for weeks to come.”

Jessica: “Thanks David. Enjoy the match. And folks, that match, it’s next, here on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

Regan Street vs. Tommy Valentine

SCW Television Championship

The arena goes dark. The sound of a Hellcat scratching through the screen is seen with a roar. Fireworks blast off the entrance as “Who's Next” by Porcelain Black plays throughout the arena. Regan Street walks out in her cheetah print wrestling gear and ensemble with her younger sister, Mikaela and cousin Delilah behind her. She stands at the entrance way looking out into the crowd as they shower her with cheers and cat calls no pun intended. Regan turns to Mikaela and Delilah, they all nod before she looks around at the crowd, screams and then smirks walking to the ring determined for her next match and starts to make her way down to the ring followed by Mikaela and Delilah.

Phillips: “The following contest is your main event of the evening and is scheduled for onefall, with TV Time remaining, and is for the SCW Television Championship! First, the challenger, accompanied by Mikaela Street and Delilah, from Santa Monica, California, she is the Hellcat, Regan Street!”

Regan Street gets to the apron and hops up to the ring as the crowd roars; pointing to Delilah to sit by Knots and Sharper, nodding she does. Regan flips over the ropes back first to cheers from the fans, Mikaela slides after her. Once inside the ring Regan goes to the corner, climbing it and posing in her own confident way as Mikaela claps before dropping down and walking to the middle of the ring where she takes off her entrance attire and nods to her sister, handing her the gear and she makes her way to the corner while the Hellcat stands waiting to start her fight. Regan then cart wheels and ruffles her hair as she waits for the match to begin…

Sharper: “Regan Street has an opportunity to win one of the two titles she’d never won in SCW. The SCW Television Championship. And from someone she has had an increasingly acrimonious relationship in Tommy Valentine.”

Knots: “It all surrounded the World Tag Team Championship and Regan didn’t seem happy that Tommy won both titles Regan’s not yet earned within a matter of weeks. Not to mention issues with Kandis too. It’s all coming to a head in this one.”

The arena's lights cut out completely, plunging the whole room into darkness for several seconds before the screens light up to display a countdown.

THOMAS VALENTINE WILL BLOW THE
ROOF OFF IN

NOW!

The screens show static for a few seconds before going dark once more. The black screen starts to pulse now like a heartbeat and on each pulse that reverberates round the arena, a shot of Thomas in various poses is shown before reverting to the blackness until the next pulse that sounds like a bass drum beat with increasing volume until a final shot of him holding the SCW Title aloft after winning the match at Taking Hold Of The Flame is Shown and remains until two green fireworks shoot from the rafters and explode on the ramp. The explosion drifts across the ramp before the beginning chords to "Cut The Cord" by Shinedown, hits.

A shot of "Thorn" going for the Swanton from the top of a chamber pod at Under Attack 2009 is shown in slow motion as he misses it and hits nothing but canvas. A shot now of him hitting the Socially Unacceptable Moonsault stomp from the top rope onto Justin Davis is shown, the impact punctuated by the last word of the verse before a shadowed figure can be seen standing in front of the curtain at the top of the ramp.

"FREE-DOM LALALALA FREE-DOM FOLLOW ME!"

As the last word echoes, the lights start to strobe again briefly as the song reverberates throughout the arena now, causing the fans to start cheering.

The lights finally flicker back on and Thomas Valentine, holding the SCW Television and World Tag Team Championship belts, can now be seen on top of the arena's ramp as he looks out into the audience that are now booing. He stops and smiles a little before spinning around away from the fans and holding his arms outwards with his palms upwards, he then stops and then shakes his head before smirking and shrugging. Kandis walks out with him, holding her World Tag Team Championship. Fireworks then shoot out at the top of the ramp in a burst before they resume walking down to the ring.

Phillips: “Her opponent, accompanied by Kandis, from Raleigh, North Carolina, he is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, and the SCW Television Champion, Tommy Valentine!”

As he walks past the barrier he looks out into the crowds, laughing at them, ignoring them otherwise, before moving on down the ramp, the smirk still on his face before he slides underneath the ropes and immediately runs to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle, simply nodding . He jumps down and does the same to all the turnbuckles before standing still in the centre, cranking his neck. Thomas then stands motionless in the corner as Kandis settles there. Tommy hands her his Tag title before turning and handing the Television Championship to Aaron Demitra, the senior official. Demitra steps back, holding the title over his head as the SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Tommy Valentine as confident as ever. We’re seeing that attitude becoming more and more of an issue.”

Knots: “It’s why Kelsai Adamson-Mason and Blake Mason are challenging Tommy and Kandis for the tag titles this Sunday. Tommy rubbed Blake the wrong way all over how he treated Kelsai!”

Sharper: “But he’s got to focus on Regan. Another person who he’s rubbed the wrong way.”

Demitra hands off the title as the crowd buzzes. The bell sounds and Regan steps forward and looks at Tommy. Tommy smirks and swings. Regan ducks and nails him in the ribs with a hard right and then another before kicking him in the ribs. Tommy falls to the ropes. Regan grabs him and goes to whip him across. Tommy spins through and sends Regan across. She bounces off and Tommy steps up and Regan jumps up and takes him down with a Lou Thesz Press. The crowd cheers as Regan then starts to hammer away on Tommy.

Sharper: “Regan coming in like a house on fire!”

Knots: “Well maybe she’s thinking this is like facing Xander. Get herself ready for the Street Fight this Sunday!”

Regan is pushed off by Tommy. Tommy rolls over as Regan rolls through. She runs at him again and clubs him in the back before nailing him again, but Tommy hits a back elbow. Regan stumbles back and spins around and Tommy runs at her and clotheslines her down. The crowd boos. Regan rolls over and starts to get up and Tommy nails her with a forearm shot. Regan falls back into the corner. Tommy kicks her in the ribs and then whips him across. Regan bounces off and Tommy hits a back elbow. The crowd boos. Tommy walks around the ring. Regan gets up and Tommy walks over and rakes the eyes. More boos follow as Regan falls to the corner. Tommy walks over and drives his shoulder into the ribs of Regan before pulling back and thrusting his shoulder in again and then a third time.

Sharper: “Tommy all over Regan in the corner. Driving his shoulder over and over.”

Knots: “Regan better start thinking she’s facing the other Valentine. Tommy may be thinking that. And he may be taking advantage of it.”

Kandis jaws at Regan a bit as the official warns Tommy. Tommy however whips Regan across to the opposite corner. Tommy runs after and Regan jumps up and goes to float over. Tommy, however, catches her. He turns around and starts to walk out of the corner, but Regan spins through and hits an arm drag. Tommy rolls through. He gets up and Regan gets up and hits a jumping knee. Tommy is stunned by it and Regan hits a drop toe hold. She gets up and hits an elbow drop. Tommy grimaces as the point of Regan’s elbows goes into his spine. Regan rolls him over. She goes for the pin.

Tommy winces and Regan clubs him in the back and then again before she grabs him and drags him over to the corner and drives him face first into the top turnbuckle. Tommy turns and Regan kicks him in the ribs and then again before running along the ropes. She bounces off and Tommy suddenly runs out and hits a crossbody.

Tommy drags Regan up and runs her over and drives her face first into the top turnbuckle. Regan staggers back and stumbles around and Tommy watches her and runs at her and jumps up and hits a leg lariat. Regan hits the mat. Sharper: “And Xander Valentine watching. Regan Street and Xander Valentine have returned to their old ways – their brawls.”

Knots: “Notice no one is around. No one wants to get in his way. I don’t blame them!”

Tommy grabs Regan and pulls her up and hits a vertical suplex. Tommy turns and exits to the apron. He then climbs up to the top rope. Regan remains down and Tommy gets to the top rope and dives off with a swanton bomb attempt, but Regan rolls toward the corner. Tommy hits hard and rolls over in pain. He slowly starts to get up and Regan runs out and jumps up and hits a crossbody, taking him down.

Tommy gets his shoulder up. Regan rolls off. She then starts to get up and hits a fourth leg drop for good measure.

Knots: “Why not give him an extra one?!”

Sharper: “Regan Street trying to keep the pressure on the champion, but you wonder if both are running at high. Neither wants to win. This has become personal.”

Knots: “And both have big matches this Sunday!”

Sharper: “Tommy and Kandis will defend the Tag Titles and Regan Street has Xander Valentine waiting. Could they be peaking early this week?”

Knots: “How much is this win, the Television Championship, all that worth to them?”

Regan walks around the ring and goes to the corner. She pulls herself up to the middle turnbuckle. She dives off and hits a forward elbow drop to the face. Tommy rolls over, holding his face. He starts to get up. Regan turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and runs at Tommy and grabs his head.
