Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a
shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot
of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme

left to fear
'Cause I've been losing sleep (losing sleep)
Trying to get back to who I used to be
Where is the old me?
Chris Cannon spearing Kennedy Street and Owen Cruze
follows before we see a shot of Alistaire Allocco on
his way to the ring, and then a shot of Regan Street and Datura swinging chairs
at one another. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for
a few moments.
We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Firserv
Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few
moments.
Sharper: “After last week, we
have one question – Why Owen? I’m Adam Sharper, here with Jonathan Knots, at
ringside for Breakdown, live in Milwaukee!”
The opening to 'My Stress' by
NF hits over the PA as the crowd buzzes.
'Yeah (oh), Some days, I just wanna leave the
negativity in my head
I just want relief from my stress
I just want relief from my stress (oh)
Some days, I don't wanna see or
Have a bunch of people to impress
I just want relief from my stress
Yeah, I just want relief from my stress (oh)'
As explosions rock the rampway from the very top, making their way down the
side of the ramp, Owen Cruze then steps out onto the
rampway, wearing a long trenchcoat, the collar up and
his head lowered.
Sharper: “And we kick off
tonight with Owen Cruze, a week removed from
attacking his uncle and seemingly siding with Giovanni Aries.”
Knots: “I don’t even know what
to say and the response, on social media, so many in SCW are upset and
rightfully so. Peyton Rice telling him to burn in hell. Others highlighting how
Owen just stabbed everyone in the back.”
Owen Cruze
slowly walks to the ring, soaking in the boos. He makes his way to the ring and
over to the steel steps. He then steps up them and along the apron before
stepping into the ring. He looks around before stopping in the middle of the
ring. He then looks down, almost at the same spot he drove Shaun Cruze into the mat. The crowd continues to boo him as Owen
turns and walks over to the corner, extending his hand, still not saying
anything. Jason Phillips hands him the microphone. Owen takes it and walks over
to the middle of the ring. He then looks around. His music fades out and the
boos continue as Owen looks around.
Owen: “Let it all out, because
anyone who knows me, knows exactly why I did what I did.”
The crowd boos some more.
Owen: “I’ve heard it all. From
friends…if I can even call them that…to family…again….to fans, all asking why,
when it’s always been in front of your face. I can only run full steam into a
brick wall so many times before I realize something is wrong. And what’s
wrong…is that this company has, in two short years, made it clear that nothing
I do matters unless I make them money.”
The crowd boos.
Owen: “Giovanni Aries has been
right! You want to know why I came out last week, stopping this farce of a
match between my uncle and Giovanni Aries? SCW promoted it to high
heaven…Giovanni Aries could be gone. Or wait, Shaun Cruze,
someone who was half retired anyways, could have their last match. All for a
quick payday. The ad rates had to be through the roof.”
Owen pauses.
Owen: “I had to watch as Blake
Mason, one of the biggest failures in professional wrestling. Someone that had
to have his one true love settle for him…claim that only he could take out
Giovanni Aries. To treat me and others like children because he had what it
took to get it done. Yeah, if getting thrown off a scaffold and failing yet
again is that…well, don’t worry. At least, I never let myself get to that
point.”
Owen shakes his head.
Owen: “I fought Giovanni Aries
off and on for over two years…I know him as well as anyone. I’ve thrown
everything at him. And the fact is…it should’ve been done. I’ve had it said to
me, to my face, that I’m the reason Giovanni Aries is still here. Do people not realize that the decisionmaker in a major wrestling
promotion listened to a twenty-one year old to make that decision. And you
think that’s smart?! And that’s when it started to click. Giovanni was right.
We are all pawns in the scheme of the people running the show. I don’t need to
buy into the Lizard Kingdom crap to get there…we are
just pawns.”
Owen looks at the crowd as
they boo him.
Owen: “It all started to
click…going back to when I won the World Championship. At nineteen years old, I
was the SCW World Champion. Holding a title my father couldn’t even hold. And
what was my first defense? Chamber match, six people, all gunning for me. I
never had a chance. But look at the dollar signs. Could Owen Cruze, at nineteen, beat the odds. And then…nothing…Despite
the charges of being the chosen one, the one who got all of the shots…despite
the fact that I am the only reason Sasha was even put in charge of SCW….I still was treated like a dirty napkin. When it wasn’t
useful, I was thrown aside until I had a use.”
Owen scoffs.
Owen: “And I fought, and
fought, and fought. I tried to do the right thing. That doesn’t exist here.
Because what does it matter when an incompetent owner listens to an ANGRY
CHILD! God! I-“
"BANG!"
As the crowd react, the entire stage lights up with a brilliant white light and
the opening riff of an SCW remixed version of "All I Want" by A Day To Remember hits the pa system. A few moments pass before David
Helms walks out from the back. Owen turns to the entrance, rolling his eyes a
bit.
Owen: “Ladies and gentlemen,
don’t turn your channel, the main event isn’t here yet, but here comes David Helms to help SCW milk more money out of this
CONVENIENT main event. Come on, Dave, you’re better than this too.”
David Helms reaches the ring,
at first ignoring the ring and walking around the ring. He heads over to
Phillips and asks for a microphone. Phillips hands him one. Helms takes it,
still not bringing it to his mouth.
Sharper: “Folks, as we
mentioned in the open, David Helms will face Owen Cruze
tonight.”
Knots: “Wonder what the hell
Helms has to say. I’ll add this wrinkle – Owen is dating David’s adopted
daughter, Jenni Helms!”
Helms walks up the steel steps
and then enters the ring. He steps forward as Owen looks at him.
Owen: “You’re better than
this.”
David: “And so are you!”
Owen turns away.
David: “Coming out here and
acting like all is lost. Do you know what I’ve heard the last few minutes? I’ve
heard a hell of a lot of excuses. Giovanni should’ve been fired. Sure, maybe.
But at the same time, maybe she had faith you’d finish what you started. The
Chamber? You’re going back that far? You’re complaining that you, holding the
most coveted championship in professional wrestling were given a challenge?!”
Owen: “Don’t try to defend any
of that. They milked me for money because that’s why. Instead of getting a one
on one match, see what they could do, they couldn’t wait-“
David: “To challenge you. So
what? You’re nineteen. You were in over your head? Then you do what everyone in
this sport has done that has ANY longevity. You learn and get better. But seems
like you don’t want that.”
Owen: “Don’t give me the
speech, David. You know I respect what you’ve done in this ring, but just like
you’ve realized it all full of crap this right and wrong way of doing it at
times of your career, I’m learning it now-“
David: “And it was the biggest
mistake of my career to side with Infamous. To turn my back on the fans, on who
I was!”
Owen: “I’m twenty-one, David.
I’m just finding out who I am and I know I’m not going
to be someone that Sasha, Mr. D, whoever is going to use to fill a slot because
that works for them…or if I have an inkling of success, to be satisfied with
being put in a position to fail. I’m going to stand for myself…and if that
means I’m standing with Giovanni, then so be it. See, David, it’s that simple.”
David: “Is it?”
Owen: “Ye-“
David then slaps Owen. The
crowd ohs and cheers. Owen staggers back, turning away, clearly upset, but
holding back what he wants to do.
David: “That’s that simple
too. I don’t care that something clicked with Giovanni. The fact that you buy
into his crap…that’s all I need to know. And
Owen…great, you respect me. I respect your ability. We got that out of the
way.”
Owen steps up and gets in the
face of David.
David: “But Owen…right now,
I’m seeing someone who has all of the talent in the world, making it clear that
maybe they just don’t have what it takes to survive in professional wrestling.”
Owen: “Maybe I don’t just want
to survive, Dave…I’m charting my own path. And if you’re in my way tonight, so
be it. SCW can enjoy their blood money. I’ll prove that doing things my way
makes me a hell of a lot happier.”
Owen steps back and turns,
exiting the ring. “My Stress” starts to play again. The crowd boos. David
watches Owen as Owen turns and starts to head to the back.
Sharper: “I don’t know where
this attitude came from….well, I know where. And I
know Giovanni Aries encouraged it. But…I always though Owen could see through
it.”
Knots: “We’re a business,
Adam. So SCW is going to put out matches people want to see. But what Owen
seems to forget is that SCW was giving him already what he wanted. And he’s
just pissed off that he has to deal with the
consequences.”
Sharper: “Easier to blame
others than yourself. And look at this…”
Owen walks up to the stage as
Giovanni Aries steps out from the back. He cackles as Owen walks over to him.
He glances at Giovanni before turning back to David Helms. David just shakes
his head as Owen walks past Giovanni and to the back. Giovanni looks at David
before turning and following after Owen as the crowd
boos more and the scene cuts away.
“The Old Me” by Memphis May
Fire plays before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A still for Glory
Braddock vs. Syren follow.
Sharper: “We kick off the
in-ring action here on Breakdown with a huge match. Two members of the Rise to
Greatness XVI main event. Syren faces Glory Braddock
in one on one action.”
Knots: “As much as it can be
with Infamous around.”
Sharper: “These two former
World Champions will clash, next!”
The scene fades to black.

Syren vs. Glory
Braddock
Sharper: “There is so much
more to talk about, but right now we’re about to get our first match underway
and by god what a way to kick things off tonight.”
The first chords of "When Legends Rise" begins to play over the PA
system...
Phillips: “From London, England, she is The British Bombshell GLORY BRADDOCK!”
Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of
purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a
million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment
before making her way down the entrance ramp.
It's burning down, it's burning high
when ashes fall the legends rise
We burned it out oh my oh why
When ashes fall the legends rise
Throat is dry, my vision's fading
I'm paralyzed and left here waiting
Taking time just one step forward
Won't lose my mind, I'm here to stay
The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron.
She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before
stepping through the ropes and into the ring. Once in the ring Glory
heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down
slowly...
Knots: “Hell of an opportunity for Glory tonight, facing one of the most
decorated women in this company’s history.”
Sharper: “Syren is a hell of a competitor it is just
her attitude of late which has drawn the ire of so many in management and the
roster alike.”
Knots: “Speak of the devil.”
All of a sudden the camera cuts to the crowd where we see a group of
red-shirted security walking in through one of the ground-level entrances. They
line up in front of the fans for a moment and seem to be holding them back.
Then the lights go out leaving the arena in complete darkness. The screen fills
with images of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural address.
“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to
fear is—”
There’s a record scratch before a deep voice fills the arena.
“INFAMOUS!”
The opening of “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system and we cut to the
hallways in the back, where the cameras watch as Syren
rounds a corner on her way to the ring. She’s got her hands taped, appears to
be in her ring gear with her ring jacket on, but doesn’t even acknowledge the
camera. Behind her are notably CHBK and Alexander Crowe, and we can see Ravyn Taylor and Christy Matthews in the background as
well. The crowd boos as this footage is shown on the
screens. As the lights come back up in the arena, we see Syren
walking through the doorway that security entered through moments earlier. She
stands in the aisleway for a moment before turning her back to the camera. On
the back of her jacket we see the Infamous skull logo.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
Dark Fantasy
Syren spins back around again before looking over her
shoulder. From behind her we see the rest of Infamous also walking through the
doorway, led by CHBK. Ravyn Taylor and Christy
Matthews also have similar jackets to Syren, with
Christy’s being red in design and with a hood pulled up over her head. Syren leads the pack to the guard rail with the security
walking alongside them, holding back any fans from getting too close.
Phillips: “Introducing, representing Infamous and being accompanied by
Alexander Crowe, Ravyn Taylor, Christy Matthews,
Christopher Richter and SCW Hall of Famer CHBK, hailing from Los Angeles, California,
and weighing one hundred and twenty nine pounds, she is a seven-time SCW World
Champion, she is ‘The Alpha Female’, this is SYREN!”
Syren smirks as she’s introduced. Once they get to
the guard rail Syren jumps over before the camera
follows her walking up the ring steps. Once there we see Alexander Crowe leap
onto the apron and sit on the middle rope, lowering it for her. She steps
between the ropes and leans back to kiss him before Syren
climbs the turnbuckles and points to herself confidently, shouting down at
those at ringside as they jeer her. She takes her jacket off and tosses it to
Alexander at ringside as she adjusts the skull-logo armband on her arm,
pointing it out to the camera with a grin on her face and tapping it with two
fingers.
Sharper: “Of course she isn’t out here alone, why would she be?”
Knots: “I’d give you an answer but I’m afraid you wouldn’t like it.”
Sharper: “Yeah well be that as it may ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your
hats. This will no doubt be a barn burner if there ever was one, Infamous’
presence notwithstanding.”
Knots: “Hell of a way to kick off our show tonight.”
The bell sounds and Glory comes out of her corner and the two competitors
circle one another for a moment. Glory offers a hand to lock up and Syren approaches cautiously. Glory steps to the middle of
the ring, challenging Syren to lock up, but Syren hesitates. She finally steps forward before nailing
her with a knee to the gut which doubles her over. She grabs Glory by the arm
and whips her to the ropes before nailing her with a cross body block. She
grabs Glory to pull her back to her feet.
Sharper: “Syren wasting little time to instate her
dominance over Glory. These are two established veterans here.”
Knots: “That they are, now the question is how will Glory respond?”
After pulling Glory back to her feet, Syren attempts
to set up for a suplex, but Glory blocks it. She
tries again but Glory blocks it a second time. She nails a shot to the
midsection before pushing Syren off and then nailing
her with a right hand. Syren staggers. Glory then
grabs her and grabs her in a side headlock, wrenching down on it as Syren struggles to break free. Syren
pushes Glory off into the ropes but Glory comes back with a big shoulder block
knocking Syren to the ground. She grabs the legs,
trying for a submission hold but Syren kicks her off
and quickly rolls to the ropes, grabbing the bottom rope and telling the
referee to get Glory away from her.
Sharper: “There is your answer, looking to lock in a submission. Two
contrasting styles here, and now Syren with a degree
of separation.”
Knots: “It is no secret that Glory knows how to work the joints of her
opponents, Syren had it scouted.”
Syren slowly gets back to her feet. Glory waits in
the middle of the ring. She offers her hand out to Syren
again to lock up once more. Syren cautiously takes
it, but Glory uses it to pull her in and grab her in a side headlock. Syren pushes Glory to the ropes and as she rebounds
attempts an arm drag but Glory blocks it, grabbing at Syren’s
head again. Syren ducks through it, grabbing Glory’s
leg to attempt a move of her own but Glory kicks up with the other leg,
knocking Syren down. Glory then runs the ropes but
Alexander Crowe grabs at her leg. He doesn’t manage to catch her, but this
draws the referee’s attention who admonishes Alexander at ringside. Syren drops down to the mat and rolls out of the ring,
walking over to her husband and seemingly asking him what he’s doing.
Knots: “Syren having strong words with her husband
there, mis-communication maybe?”
Sharper: “Maybe so, Syren doesn’t look thrilled with
whatever it is he was trying.”
Knots: “Neither is Glory, clearly time wasting now.”
Glory yells at Syren from the ring and Syren regroups before hesitantly climbing back on the
apron. She tells the referee to get Glory off before finally getting into the
ring. Glory charges and nails a knee, then pushes Syren
into the ropes and whips her across the ring. Syren
counters however, sending Glory into the ropes and then catching her with a
headlock as she rebounds. Glory is able to use her momentum to flip Syren over her shoulder however.
Both women quickly get back into position and Syren
grabs Glory, taking her down with a double-leg takedown before making sure her
shoulders are down.

2…
Glory lifts her shoulders up. She forces herself up off the mat and then twists
around, grabbing both of Syren’s arms before pulling
her down for a pin attempt.

Syren flips through. She grabs Glory and rolls her
up.
1…

Glory counters, shifting the weight so Syren is on
her shoulders instead.
1…
2…
Syren pushes her shoulders up and forces them both
back to the mat. Glory shoves her off, going for a kick to the head which Syren ducks. Syren tries a kick
of her own but Glory gets out of the way. Glory goes for a swing for a punch
but Syren ducks it. She attempts a clothesline but
Glory ducks it. Both women then have the same idea and
both go for a dropkick at the exact same time, both missing it and landing on
their knees in the ring. They glare at one another from crouched positions as
the fans cheer.
Sharper: “Wow, there you have it both women has the
other scouted tonight, both knew what the other had planned. It’s about as even
as it comes.”
Knots: “You said it earlier, both veterans of this business, Syren of SCW especially and it shows. Almost shades of the
old Syren there if there ever was any left.”
Glory steps in but Syren nails her with a European
uppercut. That staggers Glory back and Syren grabs her
at her legs, taking her down. She attempts a submission
but Glory grabs the bottom rope. The referee rushes over and forces Syren off as Glory gets back to her feet in the corner.
Glory comes out of the corner at Syren who sidesteps
her and sends her into the opposite corner. Glory steps out of the corner and Syren nails her, grabbing her before throwing her hard
through the ropes and into the ring post. Glory grabs at her shoulder in pain. Syren nails her in the back and the referee admonishes Syren because Glory is in the ropes, backing her out of the
corner.
Sharper: “You were saying Jon? There is the Syren
we’ve come to know now, ruthless as ever and wanting to take every advantage
possible.”
Knots: “It was just an observation! Just like this, look at Crowe!”
Glory slowly pushes herself back into the ring. As she attempts to stand up,
Alexander grabs her leg again and trips her. The referee notices this and waves
the group off, rolling out of the ring before pointing to the back and sending all of Infamous to the back. CHBK objects, trying to calm
the referee down, but the referee insists and slowly all of
Infamous back away from the ring as the crowd chants at them.
Sharper: The official tonight having NONE of that now. With Mr. D back in
charge, the rules are now strictly being adhered to my officials.”
Knots: “Can’t believe they’re listening, but here we are. GOOD though, let these two fight it out on their own.”
Sharper: “Exactly, both talented enough.”
Glory gets back to her feet in the ring as Syren
continues to argue with the referee. Glory attacks her, dropping her to the mat
before unloading with right hands onto Syren who
desperately tries to cover up. Glory rolls off, pulling Syren
back to her feet before grabbing her by the head and slamming her face first
into the top turnbuckle. Syren staggers, and Glory
spins her around and slaps her hard across the chest to a roar from the fans. Syren tries to cover up but Glory pulls her arm away and
slaps her again. The fans again roar.
Sharper: “Those chops are so hard, you could feel them in London, England.”
Knots: “I think Syren’s future grandchildren are
going to feel them at this rate.”
Glory attempts a third slap, even teasing the fans to be quiet so they can hear
it, but Syren pushes Glory off and slaps her with a
shot of her own. Glory staggers back, and Syren steps
out of the corner and hits her again. Glory staggers and Syren
nails her a third time, driving her back into another corner. She hits Glory
again before attempting to whip her into the opposite corner. Glory counters
and sends Syren in instead. Glory then charges but Syren gets a boot up and Glory runs straight into it, staggering
into the center of the ring,
Sharper: “Stiff counter form Syren, big boot to
the face will do it that is for sure.”
Syren comes out of the corner and drops Glory with a
clothesline. Glory forces herself back to her feet and Syren
drops her with another clothesline. Glory gets back up again and Syren whips her to the ropes before nailing her with a knee
to the gut as she rebounds, and then grabs her from behind and attempts a
German suplex. Glory blocks it. Syren
nails her repeatedly in the back before launching her up and over with a
release variant of the German Suplex. Glory crashes
into the mat as Syren rolls over and hooks the leg.
1…
2…
Knots: “Only the 2 there from Syren on this occasion,
Glory not letting up just yet.”
Glory slowly gets back up as Syren gets to her feet. Syren grabs Glory and attempts to pull her up but Glory
pushes her off and slaps her hard across the chest again. Syren
covers up. Glory then leaps up and nails her with Gloria in Excelsis Deo. Syren goes down holding her head and Glory quickly rushes
for the cover.
1…
2…
Sharper: “And only 2 there as well, neither looking to let the other have a inch at this moment in time.”
Knots: “It really is a hell of an opening match we have here.”
Glory slaps the mat. She gets back to her feet, pulling Syren
up and whipping her to the ropes before levelling her with a clothesline. Syren attempts to get back to her feet and Glory nails her
with a knee, then another, and then switches behind and locks in a waistlock. She attempts a German suplex
but Syren grabs hold of the top rope as quickly as
she can. She screams at the referee to break the waistlock.
Glory hammers her once more for good measure before backing off. Syren then looks as though she’s about to charge Glory
before dropping down and rolling out of the ring. The fans boo as Syren walks around at ringside for a moment to catch her
breath and regain her composure.
Sharper: “Glory was feeling some momentum building, as was Syren
and there you see her create more separation.”
Syren continues to catch her breath at ringside as
Glory runs the ropes and dives through the ropes, smashing into Syren at ringside and sending her back into the guard rail.
The fans cheer. Glory then grabs Syren and throws her
back into the ring.
Knots: “But Glory wasn’t having any of it, she knows how big a win it would be
for her tonight if fortuned favours her.”
Sharper: “That said it really is anyone’s game right now.”
Glory grabs Syren and slams her down. She then looks
to the top rope. Syren begins to get back up and
Glory then grabs her and slams her down a second time before pointing to the
top rope. The fans cheer as Glory climbs up. She gets her balance on the top
rope before leaping off, going for the London Plunge, but Syren
rolls out of the way and Glory smashes head first into the ring.
Knots: “Oooh, but with moments like that which you
NEED to capitalize with, well they could turn south now at a drop of a dime.”
Sharper: “High risk equals high rewards, but on the other end of that coin it
always leaves you open to fail and in this instance that was the case.”
Syren rolls back up. She waits for Glory to get back
up before leaping up behind her and dropping her with the Golden Blonde. Glory
grabs at her back in pain as she rolls over and Syren
steps away, setting up for her Superkick. She teases it as the fans boo and
Glory slowly gets back to her feet. Syren then goes
to strike but Glory swats the kick attempt away. Syren
spins around and Glory tries to grab her but Syren
nails her with a shot to the midsection before leaping up and dropping her with
the Total Makeover. The fans boo as Syren drops down
and hooks both legs.

3!!
Phillips: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this match as a result of a pin
fall… SYREN!!”
Syren rolls off as “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits
the PA system. She gets back to her feet as the referee raises her hand and she
smirks as she looks down at Glory behind her before rolling from the ring.
Glory looks up from the mat, holding her head, as Syren
celebrates on the ramp.
Knots: “You spoke of mistakes and that at the end proved more costly than Glory
would have liked, but you can’t take anything away form Glory tonight she gave Syren a lot to think about, she give everyone a lot to
think about.”
Sharper: “She did, but as Phillips stated, tonight on this occasion Syren picks up a huge win over no doubt a former SCW World
Champion, a huge result for her.”
We then get a split screen of both women, Syren
celebrating on the stage now to more boos from the crowd while Glory is
getting to her feet and kicking the bottom ropes in annoyance.
We cut to the backstage area
where Jessica Winters stands next to Holly Adams. The crowd boos upon seeing
Holly, who just smiles brightly for the camera.
Jessica: "I'm backstage
with Holly Adams, and Holly, last week you promised a huge announcement to take
place tonight. Life changing, you said."
Holly: "That's right, because that's what I do. I change lives! What were
Asher Hayes and Cid Turner doing before I became their life coach?"
Jessica: “Well, they had just
won the SCW Tag League and-”
Holly: "They were two
lost sheep, waiting for a beautiful shepherd to herd them back to a place where
their lives had meaning. Now look at them! Speaking of, I did just get done
talking to our World Champion about this life changing announcement."
Jessica: "Cid?"
Holly: "What? No! I mean,
yes, but I'm talking about Asher! Our World Champions, as made possible by
yours truly! But the reason I was talking to Asher was because he's the
centrepiece of this big announcement."
Jessica: "Can you
elaborate?"
Holly mockingly pouts while adopting
a more sombre tone.
Holly: "Something needs
to be done about Asher. He's not well. But I'm here to help, as best I can.
Jennifer, by the end-”
Jessica:
"Jessica."
Holly: "-of the night,
the entire landscape of SCW changes. Everyone's talking about Owen Cruze? Last week was little
boy stuff. This week is the real shocker. After tonight…nothing will ever be
the same again."
Holly smirks and walks out of
frame, leaving Jessica looking on in a confused sort of concern.

and looks at the cameraman.
Shilo: “Chaz!
This your doing! Who the hell got him here?”
Just
then, we see the masked man, the same one from Retribution, running over,
dressed entirely in black, including a black mask under a ski mask. We then see
the man swing a 2x4 at the head of Shilo. Shilo ducks down and backs up. The man turns and swings
overhead now, missing Shilo again. He backs up,
looking at the camera.
Shilo: “Oh
no! I’m not an idiot! I’m not
going to get in there! Screw this! You all can get your entertainment
elsewhere. Not here! He’s here! I’m
gone! Screw this!”
Shilo turns
and storms off, the camera follows as the masked man starts to motion to Shilo to come at him, not saying anything. Shilo turns to the camera.
Shilo: “I
made it clear. I need to be protected. If not, screw this. I’ll
stay home. D, it’s on you! You said there’s change.
Prove it!”
Shilo
storms off as we cut back and see the masked man, fighting away from the
security and then heading off, his shirt ripped, revealing an L on a shirt
underneath.
Sharper:
“Shilo arriving and that masked man again…”
Knots:
“Who is it? Shilo wants nothing to do with them?! I
don’t get it!”
Sharper:
“Meanwhile, Jaina Lancaster, standing by, in the
middle of the ring.”
Jaina
Lancaster stands in the middle of the SCW ring.
Jaina:
“Fans, at this time, please welcome…Lyza Reyes and
Devin Brando, Doom & Groove!”
The
crowd cheers. A black
and white video vignette begins rolling on the screens, showing Lyza Reyes dressed as Charlie Chaplin on the moon. There is
no dialogue, but simply piano music playing with the pace of the footage. She's
caught in the middle of a tug of war match between a U.S. Spaceman, and a small
group of miniature aliens. Before determining which side pulls Lyza once and for all, the feed goes dead. Television static
comes through, which leads to a shot of Devin Brando, standing in the center of
war born chaos. Half of his face is painted with his former persona’s essence.
He glides his hand down his face before he starts down the centerline. The
venue goes black.
“There’s no right, there’s no wrong, there’s only popular opinion.”
All while these videos play, the introduction of “Clockwork” by Hyper comes and
goes. When the beat drops, Lyza Reyes and Devin
Brando make their way out from behind the curtain. Devin gives the world a
solemn look while Lyza moves around him, taking in
the energy of their environment.
Sharper: “Last week, we saw
Devin Brando snap if you will. Lexy Chapel, annoying
at the best of times, was as annoying as ever and Devin finally had it, sending
her over our announce table. This led to Doom & Groove losing the match via
countout.”
Knots: “Yeah, but frustration
the name of the game here. Doom & Groove came in highly touted and they’re
finding that not everyone wants to just stand up and fight. Some want to stand
up and sign contracts!”
Sharper: “Meanwhile, if there
was any doubt, Lyza Reyes made sure that the world
knew she stood by her tag partner.”
When she clears out of his
way, the Last King starts his way down the ramp. Lyza
takes the time to slap some of the hands of the fans. Brando doesn’t seem
invested in the action. When they make their way to the end of the ramp, Devin
looks to both sides of himself. Lyza stops in front
of him and turns to face him. Brando’s eyes fall on her and she gives him a pat
on the shoulder before backing away.
With a nice turn of the heel, Reyes hit the ring steps while Devin opts to
slide underneath the bottom rope. While the man rises, Lyza
leaps over the top rope and scales the nearest turnbuckle. She points to some
of the “Lyzanities.” When she gets off the
turnbuckle, she turns to face the hard camera. Devin settles near Jaina Lancaster and Lyza Reyes
joins them. The crowd cheers.
Winters:
“Devin, Lyza, thank you for joining me. Last week,
things got a bit heated at ringside. But through it all, Lyza,
you made clear that there was no hard feelings.
Frustration sure. But how do you move on from last week where things clearly
are heading to a breaking point?”
Lyza:
“Well, Jaina. Devin and I are not spring chickens.
We’ve done this before-“
Lexy:
“Wait! Wait! Sorry! I’m a bit late!”
The
crowd roars before some boo, others cheer. Devin just looks down, closing his
eyes briefly, showing as little emotion as otherwise possible. Lyza just looks at the ramp.
Lyza:
“What’s this?”
Lexy
Chapel walks out from the back, wearing only one heel. The other heel, in her
hand, quickly finds its way to her foot as she then starts to walk down the
rampway and smiling.
Lexy:
“Don’t answer any questions! I’ve got this!”
Sharper:
“What is she talking about?”
Lexy
Chapel walks over to the ring. She then walks up the steel steps and then
places the microphone on the apron before stepping through the ropes. She steps
forward and Devin just looks at her. Lexy slinks a
bit around him, moving toward Lyza.
Lexy: “Let
me just get in here.”
Lexy
slides in between Lyza Reyes and Jaina
Lancaster, right next to the microphone.
Lexy:
“Now, as the new representation for Doom & Gloom…by the way, new name.
Totally rolls off the tongue better. And well, I already got the merch set up.
A great makeup line for anyone who wears it. Some black for the doom, purple
for the gloom. Anyway, we’ll talk about it later-”
Lexy keeps
looking to Lyza and Devin as if trying to sell them
on her plan.
Jaina: “Lexy, I hate to interrupt you, but it’s probably for the
best. Why are you here? You’re not their
representation. They didn’t sign any contract.”
Lyza steps
in.
Lyza:
“What I was going to say, but I feel we need to hear this.”
Lexy:
“Exactly! See, you didn’t sign, but I get it. You want
to make sure I’m worth. And I’m
TOTALLY worth it. I mean, Doom & Gloom, that’s
one. Better name. Totally able to get you out there. And well, I’ll handle the tough questions for you. I know you want to
be all boom and doom and gloom and win and fight and wrestle people, so yeah!
Anyway…tough questions. Jaina! Go!”
Lyza just
turns away, hands on her hips, almost in a bit of disbelief. She then leans on
the ropes. She locks eyes with Devin before trying to calm him down with a wave
of the hand. She then motions to Jaina to continue.
Jaina:
“Ah…alright…Lexy, as a try-out of your skills, Doom
& Groove-“
Lexy:
“Gloom.”
Jaina:
“Yes…after last week, do you feel they’re still on the same page-“
Lexy: “Oh
totally. I mean look at them. Coming out here, ready for this. They walked out together, they were together last week. I mean…wait…are you
two together? Like romantically? Anything I should know, not tell, prying eyes
and all-“
Lyza steps
up.
Lyza:
“Yeah, that was spectacular.”
Jaina moves
the microphone closer to Lyza. Lexy
steps back.
Lexy: “It
was?! Yes! So-“
Lyza:
“Spectacularly bad. Look, don’t ever think of us as
your clients. After last week, and especially this week, I really don’t feel like having to protect you from Devin when you
get under his skin…and you will. So yeah…this is where I nicely tell you to
leave the ring. Come on…”
Lyza
reaches out and grabs Lexy’s hand, starting to lead
her away.
Lexy:
“Wait….Wait!”
Lyza: “Come
on. You want to deal with me, not him. He’s bigger.
Can put you over his shoulder and everything!”
Lexy: “No!
I’m trying to help you!”
Lexy tries
to stop. Lyza shrugs as Jaina
steps back and Devin steps forward and lifts Lexy up,
this time much more gently than last week. He then turns and places her over
onto the apron.
Sharper:
“Looks like Lexy can’t talk her way out of this one!”
Knots:
“But Lexy Chapel Presents may fight their way out of
it!”
Autumn
Valentine and Kat Kelly bolt out of the back. The crowd roars, preparing for
the fight as Lexy rolls to the floor, stepping back,
kicking her heels off. Kat slides in as Autumn follows. Autumn goes for Lyza and catches her with a hard right, before Lyza nails her with one. Kat turns to Devin and kicks him
in the ribs and then again before He grabs her and knees her in the ribs. He
then hoists her up and hip tosses her over. Lexy
turns to the back, motioning before we see Ace Marshall staggering out, black
pants hooked on his foot. He manages to kick it off before running down to the
ring. Jaina Lancaster bails from the ring.
Sharper:
“Ace Marshall now coming as Doom & Gloom…damn it, Doom & Groove are
fighting off Kelly and Valentine!”
Knots:
“What the hell does Ace have? Both Lexy and Ace
coming out here with clothing issues…”
Ace
Marshall runs down as Devin turns and grabs Autumn and Lexy
nails her in the ribs. They whip her across. She bounces off and both back drop
her up and over. The crowd roars. Kat then runs over and jumps up, but Devin
catches her, but Ace slides into the ring and quickly chop blocks Devin. Devin
goes down. Kat rolls through. Lyza goes over to Ace
as he gets up and clubs him in the back once and then again before Ace shoves
her back. Lyza stops and goes to run forward, but Kat
runs over and clubs her in the back of the head. Lyza
goes down. Kat then stomps on her before Ace turns and goes over to Devin as he
starts to get up and Devin nails him with a back elbow. Ace falls back. The
crowd cheers.
Sharper:
“Devin Brando, trying to fight back. It’s two against three.”
Knots:
“What about Crystal Zdunich? She’s had issues with
them!”
Sharper:
“Not here tonight. They had to know this.”
Devin
turns and Autumn and Kelly run over and both hit
dropkicks to the knees of Devin Brando. He falls to his hands and knees and
goes to get up, but Ace turns and hits a running knee to the side of Devin’s
head. The crowd ohs as Devin falls over. Lexy cheers
on her group. Lyza gets up and runs over and nails
Ace again in the back of the head and then again before Kat and Autumn run
over, like a pack and both kick her in the ribs and then club her in the back
again. Kat and Autumn then back up as Ace shoves Lyza
into the ropes and Ace then launches her up and over him before she falls into
Autumn and Kat’s waiting feet in a double superkick. The crowd ohs. Devin
starts to get up as Ace turns and Devin staggers over, falling over toward Lyza, going to protect her. Kat and Autumn bail too as Ace
drops to the floor.
Sharper:
“Marshall, Kelly and Valentine leaving Doom & Groove laying while Lexy Chapel cheers them on.”
Knots:
“Lexy Chapel Presents an Ass-Kicking!”
Sharper:
“Three on two! I hope they’re happy!”
Knots:
“Lexy definitely is!”
Lexy
smiles as Ace walks around and Lexy runs over and
grabs him, hugging him briefly before then pulling away. Kelly and Valentine
walk over to them. The four start to head to the back as officials start to jog
down from the back. Ace walks away and heads up the rampway. Lexy turns to the ring, yelling “You like that! You
could’ve been with this!” The crowd boos as Devin starts to get up, wincing a
bit. Valentine and Kelly steer Chapel up the rampway.
Ace walks past the pants he had taken off and heads to the back as Lexy Chapel notices the pants and quickly runs up and grabs
them. She looks around as Kelly and Valentine even look a bit confused before
they head to the back.
Backstage,
Gavin Taylor is stalking to Mr. D.
Gavin:
“So you see, I don’t think I should be held responsible for aggressive pelvic
action! I mean…I should be your Television Champion! I know! It’s an outrage!”
Mr. D:
“And tonight, Adam will have to deal with some of the ramification of that.”
Gavin:
“That’s all well and good, but come on. What about me?
SCW’s hottest act. The All-Star. The people want to see me! See…this is why I had to talk to you directly. Ava said she’d take care of it, but frankly…this needs the personal
touch. I mean, we’re kinda
alike. You left SCW for a bit, just like I left Canada. When you returned, you
were a new man!”
Mr. D:
“Uh-huh.”
Gavin:
“And now you’re coming out and making changes, making decisions, and kicking
ass, chewing bubblegum and you, just like me, are out of bubblegum.”
Mr. D:
“That actually is true. But…Gavin…I have something in mind.”
Gavin:
“Good. Care to tell me-“
Mr. D:
“No…I think this is best if SCW promotes this. I mean, you are the All-Star.
And frankly, with someone of your stardom…and really, your opponent, someone
else who realizes their importance, I think this sells itself. How does that
sound?”
Gavin:
“Sound FANTAMAZING!”
Mr. D
looks at Gavin.
Gavin:
“I’m inventing words too. Copyright…”
Gavin
taps his temple. Mr. D nods and walks off as Gavin smiles and nods as the scene
fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
Kandis
is backstage with Tommy Valentine, who is on crutches. The crowd boos seeing
them. Jessica Winters stands with them.
Jessica:
“Welcome back to Breakdown. Jessica Winters here and I’m with Kandis and Tommy
Valentine and Tommy, looks like Pat Evans did some damage.”
Tommy:
“You think? This company rewards me for YEARS of service by bringing in someone
for the purpose of taking me out. They’re all lucky it should only be for a few
weeks, but if you want to war-“
Kandis:
“Now, Tommy…we don’t need to tell them what we’ve got planned. Just finding it interesting
that based on the rumours I’m hearing,
people are lining up to face off. The little shooters are standing up to
Minerva and Raab tonight…they’ll
get a rude awakening. But let’s not forget about me.
And Chris, nothing was resolved last week, but I’ll
keep remembering the sound of Peyton’s jaw breaking when Minerva struck her
with that pipe! Oh what? I’ve heard the rumours…you may get your hands on Asher? Looks like you’re
going to have to prioritize!”
Tommy:
“Or maybe we’ll need to remind him what we’ve been doing as of late and that we
don’t mind taking one of these crutches and using it on anyone in our way.”
The
crowd boos as Tommy turns and hobbles off with Kandis helping him and the scene
cuts to the ring.
Derek
Adonis vs. Diamond Steele
Diamond and the Gem Stones begins to blare all across the sound system and
as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various
instruments as we are able to see Diamond Steele along
with her husband Teddy Steele emerging from the curtain.
Phillips: “Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing first… Hailing from London,
England… Being accompanied to the ring by Teddy Steel, she is Diamond STEELE!!”
All eyes focus to the stage now as she has a microphone in her hands and sings
as loudly as she can to the sound of roaring cheers. Kate smirks as she just
sings loudly which results in even more cheers. Diamond finally makes it to the
ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she
grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap
frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd who
cheers louder than before. She waves at them as she throws the microphone to
the side. She smirks as she opens up a pocket mirror
and takes a moment to admire how beautiful her hair is as she waits for the
match to begin. Teddy begins to clap excitedly for his wife as he tries to get
the crowd involved.
Sharper: “One of the more unique entrances in SCW as of late, Diamond Steele
popular with the fans here tonight.”
Knots: “They certainly are getting behind her, helps having a hype man at
ringside.”
Sharper: “That’s her husband!”
Knots: “You wouldn’t catch me doing it for Kennedy.”
Sharper: “…”
Anyway, all that aside the crowd continues to cheer for Diamond before Phillips
steps out to the middle of the ring once again.
Phillips: “And her opponent…”
The lights to the arena go out as the choral sounds of "Personal
Jesus" by Vocal Skyline begins to play. As the song begins, Derek Adonis
steps out atop the ramp, clad in a white robe with a black sash over his neck.
Phillips: “Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada… Being accompanied to the ring by the
almighty?! He is DEREK ADONIS!!”
All eyes are on the stage once more where he stops atop the ramp for a brief
prayer before walking to the ring. He attempts to shake the hands of his
congregation along the way, though only those willing to present.
Sharper: “Big opportunity for both Derek and Diamond to get some eyes on them
from upper management.”
Knots: “The look on Diamond and Teddy says it all really, they’re not impressed.”
Once he gets to the ring, he climbs up the stairs and passes through the middle
and top ropes. Stepping into the ring, Derek moves to the middle of the ring
where he Tebows - another moment in inspirational
prayer before looking across at Diamond and reaches into his robe and removes a
small bottle which he opens and flings its contents at her, some
kind of holy water perhaps. The crowd roars while some boo as Diamond
backs up to the corner as the official interjects quickly. Teddy hops on to the
apron and yells at Derek who flings whatever it was at him too.
Sharper: “Derek throwing some kind of liquid at Diamond and Teddy Steele.”
Knots: “As long as it isn’t anything Kablam related, I think they’re safe.”
The official says something to Derek and he says its just holy water, the
official rolls his eyes and backs up before informing Diamond what he was told.
Derek removes his robe and limbers up just a little with some stretches in the
corner. Teddy whispering into the ear of his wife before patting her on the ass
for support before jumping down. The bell sounds and both Derek and Diamond
exit their corners, Diamond rushing over to Derek and hitting a forearm shot.
She hits another before trying to whip him across the ring, however he spins
through and sends Diamond to the ropes . She hits the
cables as Derek doubles over looking for a back body
drop but Diamond holds onto the top rope stopping her momentum. She immediately
rushes forward and swings a stiff kick into the chest of Derek forcing him upright,
from there Diamond leaps up and goes for a dropkick which Derek manages to swat
away before stumbling back to the ropes.
Knots: “Diamond trying to take Derek down with a drop kick but he swats her
away like any would be sinner.”
Diamond is on her feet and runs at Derek, however Adonis drops down after
grabbing the top rope and from there Diamond goes up and over however lands on
the apron. She pulls herself up as Derek gets to his feet and she hits
another right hand, and one more on Derek as he staggers back some more. She
grabs onto the top rope and springboards up onto the top rope and leaps off and
hits a dropkick once more and this time Derek falls to the canvas. Immediately
after that Diamond scurries over and covers.
1… KICK OUT BY ADONIS!
Derek powers out of it and pushes Diamond away, he rolls over to his knees and
looks to get up but Steele is already up and rushes
over with a stiff kick to his chest which gets a roar from the crowd. She hits
another stiff kick, and another and one more for good measure this time to the
temple of Adonis who drops to the canvas once more where she covers again.
1…
2… NO! KICK OUT BY ADONIS!!
Sharper: “Diamond not able to keep his shoulders down for the three, something
she’s learning now that while he is one of SCW’s more unique characters, he is
about as capable as anyone else on this roster.”
Knots: “You’re damn right, he has beaten some of the very best in what many
call flukes and while that might be true, he still won and you can’t take that
away from him.”
Diamond looks at the official who holds up two fingers, Teddy on the outside
slaps the mat to keep his wife’s eye on the prize. She nods before pulling
Derek up and looks to grapple with him, but Derek counters with a European
uppercut. He hits another before sending Diamond across the ring with a
thunderous Irish Whip where he put his full weight into it. Diamond hits the
corner and winces in pain, but has no time to stumble out as she is caught with
a huge splash into the corner form Derek Adonis who Irish whips her across the
ring to the opposite corner where once again he
connects with a huge splash once more. Teddy holds his head with concern when
Adonis follows up with a hip toss from out of the corner and covers.
1… KICK OUT BY DIAMOND!!
Teddy holds his head in relief as do some fans as they cheer that Diamond
kicked out. A lets go Diamond chant starts up with the
help of Teddy at ringside. Derek takes a moment before getting to his feet and
pulling Diamond to her feet. Derek goes for an irish
whip, but Diamond spins through and stops in her tracks before kicking Derek in
the gut doubling him over, she quickly follows up with a DDT into the canvas
before rolling to feet. Diamond walks around and grabs hold of Dereks leg and lifts one up before locking in an Ankle lock
much to the chagrin of Derek Adonis who lets out an almighty girlish scream.
Diamond looks to struggle a little to keep the weight up
but Adonis manages to roll to his back and kicks Diamond off with authority.
Sharper: “Diamond hit the canvas hard there, again just proof you can’t
discount what Derek Adonis brings to the table, there is power behind him.”
Knots: “He has the potential for sure, we’ve seen glimmers of that. I mean you
don’t’ win the TV Championship if you don’t have an ounce of talent.”
Diamonds holds the back of her head and rolls away slowly as Derek sits up and
checks on his ankle. After being relieved it wasn’t facing the opposite
direction, he gets to his feet and begins to stalks
Diamond as she starts to get to her feet. Teddy tries to get her attention but she turns around into a stiff kick to the
mid-section which double her over. Derek then pushes her head between his head
and looks up to the heavens and apologises before lifting her up onto his
shoulders and hitting a sit out powerbomb before holding here there for a cover
as the crowd boo’s.
1…
2… NO! KICK OUT BY DIAMOND!!
The crowd roars as Diamond forces her shoulder up from the pin attempt, Derek
slaps the mat frustrated now as he pushes her away and starts to get to his
feet. He runs the ropes after and leaps for an elbow drop which catches the
back of Diamond. He rolls over and gets up and hits the ropes again looking for
another elbow drop but this time Diamond rolls away just in time. She holds her
lower back before getting up as Derek rubs at his elbow while wincing. He sits
up but Diamond is back to her feet and kicks him in the back to a cheer from
the crowd. She hits another and another before spinning around and kicking him
in the chest and again. Diamaon then backs up before
swinging for the fences and this with a kick to the temple of Derek adonis where she covers once again…
1..
2…
3? NO!! KICK OUT BY DEREK!!
Knots: “That was almost THREE! She almost had him there.”
Sharper: “Close but no cigar for Diamond Steele, Derek Adonis still in this
thing.”
Derek holds his face before rolling away and once again Diamond looks to the
official and questions them, another two fingers held out signal what Diamond
didn’t want to see. She slaps the mat now in frustration and gets to her feet.
Teddy shouts out to Diamond to get her attention, she
goes over to her husband and they begin to speak about something. Derek shakes
the cobwebs out and begins to get to his feet, Diamond see’s it and turns. Derek
rushes towards her only to get caught by a spinning wheel kick which staggers
him. Diamond kicks him in the gut which doubles him over again, this time she
hits the ropes and leaps over for a sunset flip and tries to pull him back but
instead he drops to his knees while holding his head still from the back
spinning wheel kick inadvertently pinning her down…
1…
2….
3!!!
Diamond manages to escape the weight of Derek but its too little too late as
Personal Jesus hits over the P.A System which startles Derek back to his feet
in shock. The official raises his arm as he realizes that he actually
won. Diamond holds her chest as her husband slides in to check on her.
Phillips: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this match as a result of a
pinfall… DEREK ADONIS!!”
The crowd boos loudly as Derek begins to now celebrate more enthusiastically in
the ring.
Sharper: “Derek with the win for what was a very even match.”
Knots: “Derek with that weight of his was the difference maker, especially with
that pin even if he wasn’t one-hundred percent sure what he was doing other
than maybe taking a breather.”
Sharper: “Well it got the result he needed tonight, the much important win.”
Derek drops to the canvas and rolls out of the ring, Diamond and Teddy Steele
watching him continue to celebrate while heading up the ramp.
Backstage, we see Asher Hayes
and Cid Turner in their locker room. A priest stands at attention next to them
both, closely studying Asher’s concerned face.
Knots: “Who the hell let a
priest backstage?!”
Asher takes a deep breath
before looking at the priest.
Asher: “I’ll tell you, Father,
I never thought this day would come. I’m freaking out. I don’t...I don’t know
what to do. I mean, I guess I have to do what Holly
says, right? She’s a life coach, but...you’re a priest.”
Priest: “Why am I here, son?”
Asher: “I guess I’m just
looking for some guidance. God, just look at me. SCW World Champion, World Tag
Team Champion, just running the world right now, but seeking advice from some
lowly priest. I guess this is what facing death does to you, huh?”
Priest: “Are you unwell?”
Cid steps closer to Asher and
rests a comforting hand on his shoulder.
Cid: “It’ll be okay, Ash.
It’ll be okay.”
Asher takes another deep
breath. He holds up both of his hands, gesturing for Cid and the priest to grab
hold. Cid and the priest nod and take Asher’s hands.
Asher: “Let’s just say a
prayer. For peace of mind. If there really is someone up there, then I’ll need
them tonight.”
The priest bows his head and
begins to say a prayer with A/C Unit following along as the scene fades to
black.

Ravyn Taylor
vs. Adam Allocco
SCW
Television Championship
Phillips: “Ladies and
gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the SCW
Television Championship! Introducing first, the challenger…”
The camera cuts to the crowd where we see a group of red-shirted security
walking in through one of the ground-level entrances. They line up in front of
the fans for a moment and seem to be holding them back. Then the lights go out
leaving the arena in complete darkness. The screen fills with images of
Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural address.
“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to
fear is—”
There’s a record scratch before a deep voice fills the arena.
“INFAMOUS!”
The opening of “Open Your Eyes” by Guano Apes hits the PA system.
“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”
The song gets stuck on the word and is then interrupted by the deep sound of
the voice of Marilyn Manson.
“Just lay your head in daddy’s lap
You’re a bad girl!”
“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as we cut to the backstage. We
see Ravyn Taylor walking the corridors, accompanied
by both CHBK and Alexander Crowe. Ravyn has her
ring-gear on, and most notably her ring jacket. As she walks the camera
reverses down the corridor, and we see Christy Matthews and Syren
are amongst those behind her as Infamous make their way toward ringside, and we
can hear the boos from the crowd even backstage. We then cut to the shot of the
doorway again where we see Ravyn Taylor walk through.
She pauses, a smirk on her face for a moment, before beginning to walk to the
ring.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
Dark Fantasy
We follow the group as they make their way down toward ringside, with security
keeping fans back in the aisles. Ravyn doesn’t seem
at all distracted by the noise and movement of people around her however,
keeping her eyes focused on the ring. She gets to the barricade and pauses.
Alexander Crowe and Syren grab her by the arms and
lift her up and over. She jumps down the other side and smirks again as she
starts to walk toward the ring.
Phillips: “Representing Infamous and being accompanied by Alexander Crowe,
Christy Matthews, Christopher Richter, Syren, and
CHBK, hailing from Hell, Michigan, she is an SCW Hall of Famer, an SCW Supreme
Champion, and a BAD, BAD GIRL, this is RAVYN TAYLOR!”
Ravyn steps up the ring steps, pausing for a moment
before encouraging Jason Phillips to walk over toward her. She points to the
ropes, telling him to sit on the middle rope to lower it for her. He hesitates
before doing exactly that, and she responds by vaulting over the top rope and
just smirking at him. She then casually removes her jacket, tossing it into the
corner before climbing the turnbuckles on the left camera side and looking out
toward the camera. On her arm we see the Infamous skull-logo armband which she
points to, tapping it with two fingers as she looks into
the camera.
Sharper: “Hall of Fame, proud record holder for many of the titles here in SCW.
And despite some questioning if Ravyn lives forever
in the shadow that is Syren, she… in her own right,
is one of the greatest to step into a SCW ring.”
Knots: “She’s arguably one of the best SCW Television champions we have had,
competing with Peyton Rice for that mantle.”
Sharper: “But tonight, she’s gonna try to oust the
pretender from his throne. The self-proclaimed ‘Best TV Champion Ever’!”
Indistinguishable echoes, sounding awfully like church choir echoes out as a
single bright spotlight shines down upon the stage. On the screen, narrated by
the voice resembling that of Morgan Freeman:
“Blasted is thee who sin within the ring. God called upon the messiah,
delivering an edict of reckoning upon the ignorant primitives with their lackluster
wrestling. The messiah set forth to enlighten all those before him, and enlightened they shall be. (Adam 13:21)”
As his voice trails off, gold pyrotechnics explode on the stage as “Gold & Glitter”by Barns Courtney blares over the PA system. As the
display stops, by now the song starting to pick up the pace, Adam Allocco
emerges from behind the curtains, behind him is Big Bad Bison Jones. Anastasia
hurries past them both, she swings her arms around and presents to the crowd
Adam Allocco who poses as he is doused in boos from the crowd. After a moment
of soaking in the hate, Allocco moves down to the ring, shouting several
insults to the crowd before rolling in underneath the bottom rope. Bison Jones
begins to circle the ring while Adam Allocco steps up onto one of the
turnbuckles and starts shouting random rants and insults.
Phillips: “And the defending Television Champion, weighing in at 225 pounds,
available on OnlyFans, the King of HARDstyle, Wrestling’s Enlightenment, Adam… Almighty
American... Allocco!”
He motions to Anastasia, who begins to show everyone a forced smile and a weak
golf clap. As the song begins to fade away, Allocco tries to take the referee
aside to dispense with a few words of guidance before clapping his hand and
hopping back. Golden Boys entourage stand on the opposite side to Infamous, who
outnumbers them two to one.
Sharper: “We can’t stand him but regardless of our annoyance, Adam Allocco is
on a winning streak.”
Knots: “Something awaken in Adam. He might be stealing victories but it’s like
a lightbulb turned on over his head.”
Sharper: “He fooled the referee into disqualifying Gavin Taylor last week, but
I’m confident and so is Mr. D, that such shenanigans won’t be rewarded this
week. The referee knows.”
Adam poses in front of the camera for a moment with the Television
Championship, before handing off his baby to the referee. He reaches into his
trunks and pulls out a small vail. He pops out a blue chew and winks but before
he can pops that in, Ravyn
comes crashing in from behind, knocking Adam to the canvas with a leaping
double axe handle to the back of the skull. Bluechew
pieces scattered everywhere. Adam pushes himself up, some of the blue chews are
stuck to his head.
Sharper: “Ravyn is not dealing with any of that!”
Knots: “Adam is treating that stuff as his spinach, but we all know Ravyn did not want the awkwardness that brings along.”
Sharper: “We’re a publicly traded company, and I can’t believe they have let
Adam run rampant with an erection.”
Knots: “Can you say that on television? I thought we were supposed to look the
other way.”
The referee kneels down besides Adam, who waves him away. He pops back up onto
his feet, picking off the blue chews from his face before shaking his head
disappointed. The bell rings and Ravyn again catched Adam off guard. She clocks him as he is turning
around with a discus elbow strike that launches him into the ropes. He bounces
forward and this time she meets him with a spinning lariat. He is knocked down
onto the canvas again.
Sharper: “Ravyn’s not holding back her punches. She
must have remembered how much she truly despised that man.”
Knots: “Ravyn and Adam went to war when it was Greaternity and Dark Fantasy competing for the World Title
and the Tag Team Titles.”
Sharper: “One the few losses that Adam would own up to. We heard him in the
build up, explaining how times have changed and he’s finally entered the prime
of his career.”
Knots: “What, at age 45?”
Sharper: “He stated he’s a late bloomer.”
Ravyn takes a hold of Adam’s arms and pulls back,
while pressing down on his upper back. Adam yells as he tries to awkwardly
reach the ropes. Anastasia is cheering him on. Ravyn
pulls back a little bit more before stomping down, sending Adam’s jaw right
into the mat. Adam holds his jaw like he has a toothache, trying to use his
spare arm to pull himself up. Ravyn stomps towards
him but he suddenly signals for a timeout. He hops up and down, holding his
jaw, pointing to a tooth. Ravyn and the referee
exchange looks. Ravyn then clocks him with another
discus elbow smash, this time blindsiding Adam with enough momentum to send him
into the corner.
Knots: “Idiot! There’s no time outs in wrestling!”
Sharper: “Adam probably tried to fake out Ravyn to
buy some time to recover from her lightning strike offense and of course,
probably one of the most cerebral wrestlers we have ever seen did not fall for
it.”
Knots: “She has learned from perhaps the best, that is CHBK.”
Ravyn backpedals before running forward. She leaps in
the air for a high knee strikes, but Adam spins out from the corner. She
bounces off the turnbuckle right into a inverted
northern lights suplex from Adam. Adam rolls through
onto his feet before stepping quickly forward to drive a kick to Ravyns’ side. She rolls away to the protection of the
bottom rope. She hurries up to a standing position on the apron. Adam
approaches her and she nails him in the midsection with a shoulder through the
ropes before reaching up, grabbing his head and
leaping off, bringing his face across the top rope. She then sits down onto the
apron and smiles.
Sharper: “The early minutes of this contest has been almost entirely the
challenger.”
Knots: “Adam is having a hard time keeping up with her. Maybe his prime is
already over.”
Ravyn rolls back into the ring as Adam holds his
nose, laying on his back. Ravyn leaps forward, double
stomping onto his chest. Adam sits up, holding his chest now. Ravyn drills a kick to his spine before pulling Adam up
from behind but Adam spins around, slaps on the front facelock,
hooks the leg, and goes for a surprise pin!
1...
Sharper: “Champion trying to pull a fast one here!”
2!
Sharper: “But Ravyn kicks out.”
Knots: “He’s going to have to do better than that.”
Both competitors find their feet in the middle of the ring. Ravyn
is first to the punch, this time stepping forward with a stiff elbow. She takes
Adam and whips him into the ropes, he counters through, sending her running.
She comes back into a belly-to-back suplex by Adam.
He quickly hooks the leg.
Sharper: “Belly-to-back! Pin attempt again!”
1!
Knots: “Not even to one this time!”
Sharper: “Adam shows some of his technical prowess but Ravyn’s
as tough as she’s smart. And he probably is being reminded of that right now.”
Adam Allocco begins to complain about the referee’s count. Ravyn
nips up behind Adam. The crowd begins to clamor as Ravyn
stands up behind Adam. The referee looks behind Adam, Ravyn
reaches for him. Adam ducks underneath, Ravyn grabs a hold of the referee. Ravyn
sets aside the referee, but immediately Adam suckerpunches
her. Referee warns Adam for the closed fist but Ravyn
again swipes but Adam ducks underneath. Ravyn turns
and this time catches Adam with a back hand. Adam falls against the ropes.
Taylor goes from one side to the next, leaps up for a leg lariat but Adam pulls
down the top rope and she is launched over the ropes. Alexander and Christopher
soften her fall in a half-catch that takes them down. Adam slaps his knees but Ravyn is helped up, and she glares at Adam.
Knots: “Adam thinks he’s coy, but Ravyn is giving him
a death stare.”
Sharper: “This is part of Adam’s game. He tries to be as irritating as possible so his opponents make mistakes.”
Knots: “He’s going to have his uppcomeance. And we’re
going to savor every moment.”
Ravyn rushes the ring. Adam bails on the opposite
side. Ravyn isn’t fazed at all, goes charging, flies
through the middle rope with a diving spear. Adam throws Anastasia in her
trajectory and Ravyn destroys Anastasia. Ravyn shakes her head, looking down at the woman, she stands and Adam has shoved Bison right into her. Bison stops
himself in time from colliding. He goes to apologize Ravyn but she boots him in the balls. At this point,
Adam has hightailed it, running around the ring but he’s caught by CHBK. Behind
him the entirety of Infamous approach, surrounding Adam. Adam and CHBK begins
to jaw.
Sharper: “Adam and CHBK has never been friends. They never liked each other.
They have fought so many times over the decades and right now we’re seeing that
renewed.”
Knots: “But CHBK’s not alone. The entirety of Infamous gathering around him.
They’ve caught him. No more running, Adam!”
Adam notices his flanks covered. Syren takes up the
rear. Adam suddenly turns towards Ravyn as she makes
way into the huddle, dropping to his knees, pleading with her.
Adam Allocco: “I’m only messing around! Please, please, I’m sorry if I offend!”
Sharper: “Begging’s not going to get you anywhere. Ravyn’s
not in a forgiving mood.”
Adam sees this and stands up. He backs up, running into Alexander Crowe. He
looks back towards Crowe, then back towards Ravyn. Ravyn thrusts forward for the Bittersweet Ending to Adam,
but Adam spins out of the way and Ravyn hits
Alexander. Adam takes advantage of the confusion, ducks out from the converging
Infamous and ends the ring. He rolls to the middle and he sits up on his knees,
wiping the sweat from his brow. Ravyn apologizes to
Alexander before stepping up the ring steps on the apron.
Sharper: “Adam escaped that turmoil by the hair of his chinny chin chin.”
Knots: “But all he has done is to make Ravyn even
more determined to kick his ass.”
Sharper: “Ravyn hasn’t showed any cracks in her
composure. She’s not off his game from what we can tell. If anything, you’re
right, she’s probably even more honed in on him.”
Adam rushes over, tries to knock her off the apron with an elbow but she
sidesteps. She hits him with a pelekick that drives
him back into the ring. She rolls into the ring and as Adam staggers around,
she blindsides him with the Bust of Pallas yakuza kick! Adam staggers before
dropping to the mat like a bag of bricks.
Sharper: “Bust of Pallas! Ravyn has rocked Adam’s
world. The pin!”
1…
2…
Knots: “This is it!”
3-
Sharper: “No! Adam gets the shoulder up after 3! The match continues.”
Knots: “Not for long!”
Adam starts to wave away as he crawls away from her. He is panting and he seems
gassed. Ravyn steps onto his ankle and he releases a
yell of pain. She takes a hold of his head and smashes his face against the
canvas. She then takes his arm, drops down, trying to slip in the Momento Mori, but suddenly Adam leans up, rolling her up
with a school boy pin.
Sharper: “Momento Mori- No, pin!”
1!
2!
Knots: “Adam is grabbing the ropes! Come on, ref!”
3!
Sharper: “Adam just stole another one!”
Adam immediately slides out of the ring as the referee calls for the bell.
Anastasia already has the TV belt and the Golden Boys
are booking it up the ramp. Ravyn sits up, glares as
they make their getaway!
Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor had Adam dead to rites and he weaseled out of a loss into a cheap victory!”
Knots: “Eventually his luck’s going to run out! Eventually he’s going to get
what’s coming! God, I hate that man!”
Phillips: “The winner of the match, by pin fall, and still the SCW Television
Champion, Adam Allocco!”
The
Golden Boys disappear to the back as the scene fades away.
Mr. D
is walking away from one of the monitors, shaking his head when Kim Williams
jumps from behind a foot locker and grabs Mr. D,
pulling him in.
Kim: “Mr.
D! Get down!”
Mr. D:
“Kim…what are you doing?”
Kim
looks around.
Kim: “Protecting
you. I’ve been slacking. But I realized, this is why I have this…”
Kim
holds up the Lizard Title that was around her waist.
Kim: “To
whomever has it, they must protect the Lizard King!”
Kim
smiles as Jessica Lasiewicz then walks over, sighing.
Jessica:
“Kim-“
Mr. D:
“It’s fine. Also, I’m not Lizard King. You can tell, I
don’t have scales. I don’t
have a tail. I’m quite warm to the touch.”
Jessica:
“Yeah…you’re burning up. Maybe the tie is on too tight!”
Jessica
starts to fiddle with Mr. D’s tie. He pushes her back.
Mr. D:
“I’m fine. Just-“
Voice:
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
Kim looks
up as we see a man with a toy axe running at Kim and Mr. D and Kim simply
side-steps them and trips the man, causing him to forward, off camera with a
thud.
Kim: “Excuse
me.”
Kim
turns and runs over and rolls the man over, who is clearly unconscious from
falling.
Kim: “1!
2! 3!”
Kim
jumps up and grabs her title, holding it over her head.
Jessica:
“Hmmm…that was disappointing.”
Kim: “Yeah.
I figured he’d want it more. Yo,
Lizaralian One, get some better local talent. I challenged
them all and-“
Kim
turns as another, this one a female, runs at Kim and Kim lifts them up and
backdrops them into a pile of plunder that’s behind one
of the storage crates. Kim turns.
Kim: “They’re
really bad at attacking me from behind.”
Mr. D:
“Perhaps it because you’ve got a second sense.”
Kim
looks at Mr. D. Jessica just brings her hand to her head. D and Kim keep eying
each other, and then the woman she just back dropped and then again before Kim
nods.
Kim: “You
better keep that a secret.”
Mr. D:
“Don’t worry about it. And I appreciate your protection.”
Kim
turns to Jessica.
Kim: “Ha!
See! He likes it!”
Jessica:
“Let’s go before one of them accidentally hits him.”
Kim: “Oh…good
idea. Draw the fire away!”
Kim
and Jessica head off as Mr. D nods and watches them leave before looking at the
two local talents down on the ground and walking off.

“Better
Without You” by Evanescence plays as we see the Be Careful What You Wish For graphic
come up on the screen.
Sharper:
“Folks, we can say this is official now! Mr. D said he had an idea for Gavin…and
well, he did.”
Knots:
“Oh, this is going to be great!”
We
then see a still of Gavin Taylor before cutting to a still of Bree Lancaster before
cutting to a still of both.
Sharper:
“I’ll be very interested to hear what Bree Lancaster thinks of this. She wanted
a top tier competitor. We all see Gavin Taylor’s talent. But…”
Knots:
“Yeah, but it’s Gavin Taylor, so there’s a veneer of ridiculous- I mean All-Starity!”
Sharper:
“All-Starity?”
Knots:
“Yeah!”
Sharper:
“Meanwhile, next week…”
The
Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as the music changes to “The Old Me” by
Memphis May Fire. We then see a still of James Evans.
Sharper:
“We saw Xander Valentine and James Evans have a confrontation last week on this
program. They will also face at Be Careful What You Wish For, but first, next
week, James Evans, we’re told, will have some time to
speak to Xander Valentine. Security will be on high alert. That’s
next week, here on Breakdown!”
The still remains on the screen for a few moments before the
Breakdown logo comes back up on the screen.
BELIEVE IT!
The SCW Universe are on their feet as “Kings and
Queens” by Ava Max as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the
electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena
Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe.
Sharper: “Well it’s been a
busy night so far and Selena Frost been watching the action.”
Knots: “Saw her favourite
person in the world, Syren, get a win against Glory
Braddock. She kept out of that, but we can guess why she’s out here.”
Selena Frost glances back as
Deanna walks out with her. The two start to head to the ring, the crowd
cheering them. They make their way down to the ring before reaching the
ringside area. Selena turns and runs over to the steels step, running up them
before walking along the apron. She steps into the ring. She then steps forward, and lifts her hand up to give a twirl as the lights
form to make a massive snowflake under her. Stopping her spin and lowering her
hand back down, towards the audience. She then stops as Deanna joins her.
Selena turns and smiles as she then grabs a microphone waiting for her at the
ringside area. She takes it, walking back over to the middle of the ring. Her
music fades out.
Selena: “Well here we are,
another week and another week where Syren won’t
respond. And I know what some people are thinking…this is a bit desperate.
Coming out here, week after week, saying you’ll sign contracts, lay challenges,
maybe even put something on the line. And yet, Syren
seems to have one thing that is common…she’s running.”
Selena pauses.
Selena: “Oh wait, she won at
Retribution. I’m sure she’ll say that. I know she probably has at some point.
To herself, to Infamous, to CHBK. She never pinned me. That’s not a slight at
David. Not at all. More that while he had his issue with Ravyn,
mine was with Ravyn and it’s turned to Syren. The Syren who WANTS to be
the history-making trailblazer, but really, is nothing of the sort. She may be
the most decorated wrestler in SCW history. But let’s face it…anyone going to
remember her that way. Oh wait…sorry, you’ve got Ravyn
and CHBK…don’t worry, Syren, I’m not using this to
get under your skin. Hoping you’ll run out here and just give me a match.
That’s been tried on you many, many times. And let’s face it. That’s the thing.
There’s a tired feeling about you more and more. How long has this brand of
Infamous been going on?”
Selena looks around.
Selena: “Two and a half years?
Something like that? Since you manipulated the situation to blame Kennedy for
something you did all to get you back to the top of the mountain. And the well
is drying up. Now, you’re having CHBK draw up these contracts so you can go
through everyone and for what? So Sasha…now Mr. D will
announce you the number one contender. You’re that vain that you’re pulling
this all because you want the owner of this company to pat you on the head.”
Selena shakes her head.
Selena: “Well maybe we can
find out if that’s happening? Then maybe we can move on to things that do
matter! You know…competing! We heard Owen Cruze come
out here and blame everyone for everything. The sad thing is at least you’re
willing to compete, but because you don’t have your precious vindication, we
need to waste time listening to you bitch about not
being World Champion even when you were HANDED a golden opportunity. When I had
to tear the house down with Asher Hayes, before he
showed how weak he was…you could’ve walked in and nudged Chris over and taken
it. We all saw what he put out there to hold onto that title. A lot could’ve
changed. But you walked away. You slapped everyone in that match in the face.
And well-“
“So, first of all, let me
assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is—”
There’s a record scratch
before a deep voice fills the arena.
“INFAMOUS!”
The opening of “Groupie” by
Cassie Steele hits the PA system. The crowd boos as Selena stops, mid-sentence,
and smirks. She turns as Syren walks out from the
back, flanked by CHBK and Alexander Crowe. They step forward, Syren holding a microphone. She just sighs and looks down
at the ring.
Syren: “Do you ever shut up?”
The crowd boos as the music
fades out.
Syren: “I just had to watch my wife
have to deal with…whatever that was…and now to add to the headache I have to
listen to you continue to challenge me for a match. One you do not deserve. Can
you not get it through your head? There are some things BIGGER than you. Like
my undoing, what I could, of Rise to Greatness…beating Glory Braddock, and
getting one step closer to what I want. You can call it desperate all you want,
but it’s the one thing I’ve never had in this sport. While you…you’re the Face
of SCW…”
Selena: “Be careful where you
go with that because I don’t think I have to point out I haven’t been close to
the World Title in long time too. Not as long as Christy Matthews, but given
how quickly you’ve moved on from her coming short against me last week-“
Syren: “Don’t change the subject,
Selena! See, this is where I make this clear. You’re the one being desperate.
Coming out here, third week in a row, demanding a match against me. CHBK has
your contracts. And I’ve seen them all. You’ve offered to paint my house in one
of them. There’s another where you become my chauffeur – given that you don’t
drive yourself, I don’t feel like dying. Another where you’ll say something
nice to me. You’re not even taking it seriously. Well
this serious to me, Selena. And when CHBK decides you face me, then you’ll
know, but it’s on HIS terms.”
Syren pauses.
Syren: “His terms because he’s
earned that because of the respect he shows me and what he’s done in this
sport. And I’ve earned the right to enjoy that since I am, as you just said,
the most decorated star in the history of the company!”
The crowd boos as Syren defiantly stands on the stage.
Syren: “And Selena…BELIE-“
Just then “Cult of
Personality” starts to play and the crowd roars. Selena holds her finger up, as
if anticipating this twist. Syren turns as CHBK turns
too as Mr. D walks out from the back, microphone in his hand. Mr. D steps
forward, extending his hand in over the top fashion,
as none of CHBK, Syren nor Crowe shake it back.
Sharper: “Looks like the Boss
may have something to say about it!”
Knots: “I think Selena figured
something is up here!”
Mr. D shrugs and pulls his
hand away. Syren glares at Selena before turning back
to Mr. D.
Mr. D: “Don’t worry. I’d
probably not shake my hand either. I mean that’s the sign of a deal, and we
don’t have one.”
Syren: “What are you talking
about?”
Mr. D: “Oh yeah, see, when I
returned to this position well…I was told to deal with a lot of problems and I’ve already started in a few places. Last
week, talking to people, figuring out what people wanted, what people claimed,
what people were going to complain about, and then there’s you….and this little
contract business.”
Mr. D nods.
Mr. D: “Alex…you’ve been
having fun. And it’s nice. A little weekly challenge. CHBK puts you in the ring
with someone. And all of it is so I come out here, Sasha before, and announce
you’re the number one contender and have a title shot. Well, Syren…”
Syren looks at Mr. D. Mr. D fakes a
smile.
Mr. D: “Yeah, I’m not going to
say that. In fact, I can tell you that it’s going to be a long time before I
do. Your win against Glory certainly helped, but you dug yourself a nice hole.
See, it turns out that forfeiting a World Title shot, no matter the
circumstances…that’s not a good way to win people over to your little plan. And
so you need to fight a lot harder to get there.
There’s always Taking Hold of the Flame at least, right?!”
Syren grits her teeth.
Syren: “This is bullshi-“
Mr. D: “No…no, this is what’s
bull. Those contracts. Because CHBK’s contracts…keep them as mementos. They
don’t have any standing in SCW anymore!”
The crowd cheers.
Mr. D: “Instead, we’re going
to do things the correct way. You want to compete weekly? Great! I’ll happily
facilitate that. And you can earn your way back to the top. But I’ll be naming
your opponents, the stipulations and everything else in between!”
Selena smirks as CHBK holds a hand out as Syren is about ready
to go off.
Mr. D: “And I’ll name one of
your upcoming opponents…at Be Careful What You Wish For, on May 2…you’ll face
Selena Frost!”
The crowd roars.
Mr. D: “And I’ll give you
another hint.”
Syren is seething at this point,
clearly trying to keep her anger in check.
Mr. D: “You may want to do it
without Infamous is you want to catch my eye.”
Selena: “Believe it!”
The crowd cheers as “Kings and
Queens” then start to play. Syren starts to follow
Mr. D to the back as CHBK follows with Crowe glancing at Selena. Selena just
smiles as she waves at Syren. Deanna smiles too.
Sharper: “At Be Careful What
You Wish For, Syren and Selena Frost in one on one action! And looks like things are changing in the
plans for Infamous!”
The camera focuses on Selena
and Deanna in the ring.
“The Old Me” then starts to
play as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A still of Pat Evans &
Josh Hudson vs. Minerva & Konrad Raab follows.
Sharper: “And speaking of
other plans changing, we’ll see how the returning Josh Hudson and Pat Evans
will do against the team of Minerva and Konrad Raab.”
Knots: “Minerva’s going to
have to start answering for things and it starts next!”
The
scene fades to black.

returns to see Syren stunned as Mr. D walks off.
Crowe standing between Syren and Mr. D as CHBK stands

Syren:
“That’s it? You’re going to walk away.”
Syren turns
to CHBK.
Syren: “He
can’t just do that.”
CHBK:
“He can.”
Syren: “We
had a plan.”
CHBK:
“And Sasha’s strategy was to leave us alone. The Board clearly didn’t care. He does.”
Syren: “We
have to do something though-“
CHBK:
“Why? Zoe…we did this in part because Sasha wasn’t
booking you well. Him…he basically just said he’s
going to do what we’re doing. The difference, I don’t
control it. So we’re going to have to find our own
goals. And most importantly…is win. Beat everyone and you get what you want.”
Syren:
“Yes…but-“
CHBK:
“I know. You wanted everything on our terms. I’ll see what we can swing there,
but for now…we figure out how to make this work and first off, shutting up
Selena would be a good start.”
Syren:
“Yeah…”
We cut
to the ring.
Pat Evans
& Josh Hudson vs. Minerva & Konrad Raab
“Schism" begins to
filter through the sound system and out from the back steps none other than
Josh Hudson, wearing a zip up jacket. Pat Evans walks out with him, also
wearing a hoodie. Hudson stops atop the entrance ramp, and
looks out into the crowd and shakes his head, before heading down to the ring.
Pat Evans walks down with Josh Hudson.
Phillips: “The following
contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring,
from Detroit, Michigan, he is Pat Evans; his partner, from New York City, New
York, he is Josh Hudson!”
Hudson embraces the positive
reaction with outstretched arms as he makes his way down the ramp, his body
turned sideways as he faces the crowd. Pat Evans just rolls into the ring. Hudson
continues to slowly make his way to the ring, a look of determination on his
face as he slides underneath the ropes. He climbs to the top rope and stares
out into the crowd, slowly lifting a fist in the air. He then drops
down, before turning and sitting against the turnbuckle, waiting for the
match to begin. Pat Evans takes off his hoodie, walking around the ring, ready
to compete too.
Sharper:
“Pat Evans and Josh Hudson about to make their formal debut as a team. They
were brought in to deal with problems.”
Knots:
“Mr. D even calling them shooters. And trust me, this is going to be one where
we see if they’re as advertised!”
The arena goes dark, the
sounds of “Blood, Milk & Sky” by White Zombie plays, echoing when a lone
spotlight is shown where Minerva is on the stage, kneeling and licking her
lips, looking around wearing her hat and Glasses, carrying her gypsy chain
hooked to the neck of a leather covered Konrad Raab
sporting his zipper mask. The Gypsy is wearing an intricate black jacket,
carrying a black rose. She slowly looks around with a smile on her face
before crawling a little and slowly standing on her two feet where she unzips
his mouthpiece and places the rose in his mouth.
Sharper: “What in the world…”
Knots: “This is just getting
more levels of weird.”
The crowd boos, as she starts to laugh, biting down on her pierced lips before
looking around wide-eyed and making her way to the ring pulling Konrad in tow.
She stops and gets close to some of the fans before backing up and licking her
lips again. Turning to the rampway where she points to the ceiling, her eyes
roll to the back of her head, not moving, making the signal of the cross as
Konrad crawls up the steps like a four-legged creature. Minerva starts to laugh
before she hops on the apron, hanging upside down on the ropes for a moment as
the crowd continues to boo.
Phillips: “Their opponents,
from Cologne, Germany, he is the Iced Rainbow, Konrad Raab
and his partner, from Anywhere she feels like, she is Minerva!”
Konrad opens the ropes for her as Minerva slowly gets back into the
ring and stands in the middle, looking around, Konrad on his all fours
positions himself under her legs as she straddles him, pulling out a small
whips and striking him on the buttocks, before walking to the corner and
leaning against the turnbuckle in a seated position, unhooking the chain as
Konrad kisses her feet, then taking off her hat and glasses as she is licking
her lips with a smirk on her face. She then exits to the apron as Konrad turns
to Evans and Hudson. Hudson just shake his head.
Sharper: “This display,
Minerva…I don’t even know what to make.”
Knots: “I do. The Iced Gimp is
here and he apparently has completely lost any desire
to think for himself.”
Sharper: “And Minerva putting
him in first. Clearly to do some extra scouting, I assume!”
The bell sounds. Hudson steps
out as Raab walks forward, going for a
collar-and-elbow tie-up, but Hudson goes low with a double leg takedown. He
then moves over into a side mount and then starts to move for the arm. The
crowd roars a bit as Konrad struggles and manages to get his arm free and rolls
over, but Hudson moves into a side headlock. He pulls up on the face and
continues to try and lock something in. Raab keeps
fighting, before managing to slide out. Hudson spins around quickly and into a
front face lock. Raab reaches out as Hudson starts to
pull him up. Raab goes up with him and Hudson then
steps forward and uses this to take Raab over with a
single arm suplex. Konrad rolls over and moves to the
corner. Hudson looks at him.
Sharper: “Hudson going to just
outwrestle anyone. That’s his M.O.”
Knots: “And yeah and Raab not always been that great at it. More of a highflier.
Hard to do that if you’re stuck on the mat!”
Raab gets up and lunges and Hudson
catches him in the sprawl. He then starts to pull him
up. Raab keeps fight and Hudson then spins around and
goes for a Greco-Roman takedown. He hits it and spins around to the head. Raab slides back and Hudson then dives at him, taking him
down with a tackle into a pin.

him up, tagging in Pat. Pat enters and Hudson wrenches the arm and Pat then

Pat kicks out. Both get up and
Raab catches Pat with a European uppercut. Pat
staggers. Raab hits a second European uppercut and
Pat falls to the ropes.
Sharper: “Hard uppercut and Raab fighting back. A couple of shots that just shut Pat
down.”
Knots: “Each shot dazing him
and Raab not going to just let them outwrestle him.
He’ll turn to brawling!”
Sharper: “While Minerva
watches. She’s just keeping an eye on her opponents here.”
Raab moves in and knees him in the
ribs. He then whips him across the ring. Pat bounces off and Raab nails him with a back elbow. Pat rolls over and starts
to get up and Raab walks over and elbows him in the
back of the head and then again before grabbing him and going to Irish whip
him, but Pat spins through and pulls him in before spinning around him and
hitting a snap back suplex into a bridge.

Raab kicks out. He rolls over and
Pat turns and grabs Raab. He pulls him up and then
locks in a cravate. Raab
however nails him in the ribs and then again before shoving him toward Minerva
who reaches over and digs her fingers into the eyes of Pat Evans. The crowd
boos and she rakes the eyes as the official reprimands
Minerva. She just smiles before looking at her fingers and laughing a bit. Pat
meanwhile turns around and right into Raab who hits a
dropkick. He goes for the pin,.
1!
2!
Pat kicks out.
Sharper: “Hard dropkick after
Minerva trying to blind Pat Evans!”
Knots: “First time she’s been
involved too! Just watching otherwise. Raab’s not
even going for a tag.”
Sharper: “He is turning to
her, almost following her lead.”
Raab turns to Minerva. Minerva leans
through the ropes, saying something to Raab. Raab walks over to Pat and grabs him. He then pulls him up
and forearms him in the back and then again before shoving him into the corner
with Minerva. Pat leans back as Raab nails him with a
hard right and then a left before nailing Pat with a series of hard right
hands. The official counts.

Raab then grabs Pat and snapmares him out. He turns and Minerva leans, almost
licking his chin as Raab looks through his mask,
enamoured at Minerva. Minerva then winks as Raab
turns and kicks Pat hard in the back of the head. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “My God! What a
kick!”
Knots: “Raab
is entirely motivated by this allure of Minerva.”
Sharper: “And she’s loving
this! Why wouldn’t she?!”
Raab rolls Pat over and goes for
the pin again.
1!
2!
Hudson breaks it up. Raab rolls over as Minerva looks at Josh. Josh watches him
and then turns back. Raab then turns and winces,
shaking the cobwebs loose. Pat starts to get up and Raab
turns back to him only for Evans to hoist him up and hit the Spinal Tap. The
crowd ohs and Raab rolls over, holding his lower back
in pain. Pat kneels next to Raab. He then gets up and
grabs Raab. He drags him over. Raab
fights the entire way and Pat rakes the eyes of Raab.
Pat glances at Minerva at one point before moving Raab
in and Evans tags in Hudson. Hudson enters and Pat then steps back and throws Raab back as if going for a mat slam, but he falls into
Hudson who grabs him and hits a snap German suplex.
The crowd ohs. Evans exits the ring. Hudson gets up and then turns and stomps Raab in the back and then again before turning and leaning
down and looking at Minerva. Minerva winks at Hudson. Hudson looks at her
before shaking his head and grabbing Raab. He pulls
him up and hooks him up and hits a fisherman’s suplex.
1!
2!
Raab kicks out. Hudson rolls over.
Sharper: “Minerva has not
moved and that was as close to a victory for Evans and Hudson!”
Knots: “She knows she’s got
her own tackling dummy! Emphasis on the dummy!”
Hudson gets up and grabs Raab and pulls him up before headbutting him once and then
again. He then moves in and goes for a T-Bone suplex,
but Raab elbows his way out of it. He then grabs
Hudson and pulls him into a knee. Raab then shoves
him over toward Minerva. Minerva then starts to almost examine Hudson. Raab holds Hudson back, just pushing on his chest.
Sharper: “What the hell are
they doing?”
Knots: “Minerva is sizing
Hudson up I think. Raab is
trying to help.”
Sharper: “This is the oddest
way of taking stock of an opponent, I’ve ever seen.”
Hudson keeps fighting and then
shoves Raab back. He glances at Minerva before Raab runs at Hudson and nails him with a European uppercut.
Hudson stumbles out and Raab runs out and clotheslines
Hudson in the back of the head. Raab then turns and
runs at Evans, but Evans ducks a shot and then grabs Raab
by the head and hits a neckbreaker guillotine. Raab staggers forward and Hudson winces, getting up and
then scooping him up into a pendulum backbreaker. Hudson winces a bit before
pulling himself up and throwing Raab down, but rolling him over before hoisting him up and
locking in the Hudson Stretch. The crowd erupts in cheers. Pat Evans turns and
enters the ring, stepping forward as Minerva just watches from the apron.
Sharper: “Minerva just
watching as Hudson hoists Raab up! Hudson Stretch!
Nowhere to go for Raab!”
Knots: “Evans is even making
sure. If Minerva wants to come in, she better be ready!”
Hudson keeps pulling on the
leg as Raab yells out in pain before starting to tap.
The crowd cheers as the bell sounds. Hudson keeps the hold on a moment longer
before throwing Raab down. Minerva just smirks and
drops down to the floor. Raab slowly rolls to the
apron.
Phillips: “Here is your
winner, via submission, Pat Evans and Josh Hudson!”
Sharper: “Minerva never
entered the match officially!”
Knots: “But she sure set the
tone. Raab was taking orders the entire time.”
Sharper: “Evans and Hudson
meanwhile as advertised and Minerva may be finding out
that she quickly is meeting her wall. You get the spotlight,
you get the consequences of your actions a lot quicker!”
Knots: “She seems to be
accepting of it though. She didn’t really feel like getting in there!”
Minerva slowly walks around
the ring, going to Raab, pulling him out of the ring.
Raab falls to the floor as Pat and Josh continue to
watch her. Their music plays as Raab slowly gets up,
wincing, holding his lower back. Minerva starts to lead him around the ring,
keeping her eyes on Pat and Josh, before a slight
smile some over her face and the scene fades out.
Backstage, Jessica Winters
stands with Chris Cannon who is watching the monitor. Lucas Knight is with
them.
Jessica: “Chris, I’m sorry to
interrupt, but-“
Chris holds his hand up.
Chris: “It’s alright. You’re
just doing your job.”
Jessica: “You watched Minerva’s
match again the Shooters and….thoughts?”
Chris: “I would’ve preferred if
she got in the ring. But it’s clear this still is a game to her. And she’s got
her own pawn.”
Chris shakes his head.
Lucas: “One that’s also an ATM.”
Chris: “Yeah…just…”
Jessica: “There’s a lot I want
to ask you about and-“
Chris: “Owen? Yeah…well, I’m
going to reserve judgment. I’ve been there. I just hope that the kid realizes
this is a bad plan.”
Jessica: “Fair enough…One
final note. I’m sure you’ve been hearing of this massive life-altering
announcement.”
Chris scoffs.
Chris: “That’s our World
Champion, involved in that…Tag Champion…and we could’ve stopped it. Didn’t
thanks to Holly. I’ve not forgotten. Part of me can’t look away. But you know
what….There are some reasons to give me cause for a smile
around here. They’re few and far between. But I have a long list…and Lucas…I
think we start to work on it this week.”
Lucas and Chris fist-pump one another
as they then head off. The scene fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
Adam Allocco and Bison Jones
stand backstage having a conversation with Anastasia Smirnov. The crowd boos as
Holly Adams slowly walks into frame. The Golden Boys turn to look at her and
see her beaming.
Holly: “And how is the second
hottest act, only to me, in SCW doing tonight?!”
Adam and Holly both share
ingenuine laughs before air kissing each cheek while Bison just shakes his
head.
Adam: “Holly! What can I do
for you?”
Holly: “Here’s the thing. As
you may have heard, we have a big announcement about Asher tonight.”
Adam: “Right, right, I heard.
I think it’s even trending worldwide, but you know, my thoughts and prayers are
with him. After what happened to poor Ali, it’s not easy hearing rumors about
someone else’s potential demise, even if I do despise them.”
Holly: “Wait, are we
trending?”
Holly shakes her head.
Holly: “Of course we are, it’s
massive! Huge! Life changing! Anyways, as you know, you’re the most talented
director in SCW right now.”
Adam: “Not just right now, but
probably in its storied history.”
Holly: “Exactly! Aw, see? We
get each other. So here’s the thing, I need someone to
film this announcement for my life coaching reel.”
Adam: “Well...you know I’m
always happy to help my favorite blonde, and-”
Anastasia clears her throat,
leading to both Holly and Adam looking at her. Adam shrugs and looks back at
Holly.
Adam: “And I feel for Asher
with whatever he’s going through, but really, I have to kick his ass soon for
those tag belts! I can’t go being all friendly with him.”
Holly: “I completely
understand. You know I’m always on your side! Don’t think of it as helping
Asher though. Think of it as helping me...and yourself! I can use the footage
for my life coaching reel, but you can use it for your directing reel! It’s a
win-win! Trust me, you’ll be happy to have this on your resume. By the end of
the night, we won’t be just trending on Twitter, we’ll be all over the news.
You and I might even get interviewed by Oprah.”
Adam: “We’ll get that Oprah
money? Hmm...”
Adam strokes his chin and
takes a moment to ponder the decision. Before long, he snaps his fingers and
looks at Bison.
Adam: “Bison! Scrounge up some
filming equipment. We’ve got a job to do!”
Holly shrieks and claps excitedly
before giving Adam a hug.
Holly: “Another win for Holly
and the Golden Boys! Bye for now!”
Holly scurries off and Adam
watches her go the whole way with a smile on his face. He slowly turns to
Bison, who is staring at him disapprovingly.
Adam: “What? Go! Get our
stuff!”
Katie
Steward vs. Polly Playtime
Oh, she's sweet but a psycho
A little bit psycho
At night she's screamin'
"I'm-ma-ma-ma out my mind"
The arena lights dim down and
pink light shines on the stage. “Sweet but Psycho” by Ava Max plays as The
Queen of Queens and Goddess of Desire Katie Steward steps out on the stage. She
walks her beautiful white and gold religious ring robe that is popelike and spins around in a circle showing it off the
crowd. TJ Johnson walks out onto the stage with Katie and the two nod to one another before Katie continues her walk to the
ring with her arms out and his hands at shoulder length.
Phillips: “The following
contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. Introducing first, accompanied to
the ring by TJ Johnson, from Los Angeles, California, she is The Goddess of
Desire, Katie Steward!”
Sharper: “Katie Steward making
her way to the ring, just two weeks removed from an impressive victory against
Ronin.”
Knots: “Impressive for sure,
Katie showed some fire taking down the newcomer to SCW, showing why she’s a
member of our Hall of Fame. If she gets on a roll, she can still make some
noise as a competitor here.”
Katie walks around the ring
and up the ring steps carefully and across the apron. TJ runs up after her and
holds open the ropes for her to enter the ring. Katie walks to the center of
the ring and she disrobes for the crowd. She shows off her wrestling attire. TJ
takes her robe and exits the ring while Katie waits in her corner. A coin can
be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on
SCW’s Jumbotron. A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play.
Knots: “And here comes someone
we haven’t seen since she showed the world a bit too much of Adam Allocco on
April Fool’s Day!”
The music plays for quite some
time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Polly Playtime
emerges from the backstage area wearing a frilly pink skirt and a very cute and
fashionable strapless crop top that has black paw prints on it. She is
carrying a personally made microphone, clearly wanting to make the world wait
to see her. While she gets the cat calls and the whistles from a lot of
the guys in the crowd, she definitely appears to be
ignoring them, instead choosing to focus on only herself, allowing the cameras
to film her, but not too much. She makes her way down the ramp and walks up the
steel steps and into the ring and is very careful to not show off any of her
assets. She hands over her personalized microphone to Jason Phillips and
tells him to announce her using ONLY that microphone. He looks at her and
just shrugs before taking it.
Phillips:
“And her opponent, from Panguitch, Utah, she
is the girl that loves to play, Polly Playtime!”
She immediately snatches her
microphone back away from him and nods, telling him “Good job”, before she
heads to her assigned corner opposite Katie. She sets the microphone in the
corner and rolls her shoulders while staring Katie down. The bell sounds.
Sharper: “Underway here now.
What are you looking out for in this match, Jon?”
Knots: “Well, like we said,
Katie had a great showing last time out. She wants to continue that, but Polly
wants to recover after that tough loss for the Television Championship. Both of them could use a win here. Katie to stay hot, Polly
to get back at it.”
Polly and Katie meet in the
middle of the ring. Polly suddenly drops to the mat, flat on her back. The
crowd buzzes in confusion. Katie looks down at Polly before looking back at TJ
on the outside. TJ shrugs.
Knots: "Okay. An
interesting strategy from Miss Playtime to start out here."
Sharper: "What the hell
is Polly doing?!"
Katie just keeps looking back
and forth between Polly on the ground and TJ on the outside while the crowd
boos loudly. TJ just starts jumping up and down.
Johnson: "Pin her, pin
her!"
Katie falls forward for a
cautious cover. The referee hesitates briefly before sliding in for the count.
1!
2!
3!
The bell rings and Katie's
music hits while the crowd continues to boo.
Sharper: "What just
happened?!"
Knots: "Katie won!"
Polly rolls out of the ring
and makes her way up the ramp with a questionable look on her face. The nearby
crowd hurls insults at her, but she pays no mind to it as she continues her
walk up the ramp. Meanwhile, TJ slides into the ring and hugs Katie before
throwing her arm up into the air in victory. Katie looks around, still a bit
confused, but eventually breaks into celebration, jumping up and down with her
arms in the air. The crowd keeps booing.
Sharper: "Katie with the
victory, but Polly…"
Knots: "Another win for
Katie, she keeps on rolling! Technically another good showing, too."
Sharper: "A good showing?
Polly laid down! She threw the match, Jon!"
Katie continues to celebrate
in the ring, now climbing the turnbuckle and posing beautifully for the fans.
TJ looks on the verge of happy tears as stands in the middle of the ring
clapping for Katie.
Sharper: "Well,
regardless of what's happened, Jon's right. Katie Steward is our victor here
tonight…"
Katie climbs down and bows for
the booing crowd. TJ is clapping so hard that his hands start to hurt, so he
changes to a minor golf clap instead.
Sharper:
“Now let’s go backstage where Jaina Lancaster is with
another Lancaster, Bree.”
Backstage,
we see Jaina Lancaster standing with Bree Lancaster and
Scott Burnside. Bree shakes her head.
Jaina: “Thank
you Adam. I am here with Bree Lancaster, the former SCW World Champion and we
now know what the boss had in mind. You’re facing Gavin Taylor at Be Careful What
You Wish For.”
Bree: “Heck
of a name, right. Look, I wanted a challenge and don’t
get me wrong. Gavin Taylor may be the top star at some point. But right now, he’s
more happy about surviving an ass-kicking than winning
titles! What part of someone worth my time did you not understand?”
Bree
pauses.
Bree: “But
I am a professional, unlike some people here, so this is what I will do. I will
march to Be Careful What You Wish For, I will give Gavin Taylor a challenge he
cannot even fathom. He will wish he was still facing
Xander Valentine. And then, I will turn to watching my friend Datura win the
World Title. And then I expect a phone call. And on that phone call – that I’m
challenging for the SCW World Championship and getting my rematch.”
Bree
turns to Jaina.
Bree: “That
should help D get the hint.”
Jaina: “We’ll
find out. Breakdown returns after this!”
The
scene fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown
returns as we see Minerva, Konrad Raab, Kandis and a crutch-supported
Tommy Valentine walking down the hallway.
Raab: “I’m
sorry…I couldn’t keep holding them off.”
Minerva:
“Enough, my sexy schnitzel. You lasted long enough. Enough for me to get some
information. And they got nothing. And in fact…they’ll
have even less.”
They
continue to head on their way before heading toward one of the locker rooms.
Kandis:
“Going to enjoy this one.”
Sharper:
“Where are they going?”
Knots:
“I don’t know, but someone better be ready.”
Minerva
then turns to the camera.
Minerva:
“You’re going to want to watch this. Right Dave?”
Minerva
smirks. Raab and Minerva then head over toward one of
the locker rooms and Raab walks over to the door and goes
to open it, when suddenly, we see a chair slam against the wall. Raab backs up. Minerva turns as Lucas then steps forward,
brandishing a chair.
Lucas:
“Ah, what are you thinking here? Going to send your little robot here to try and
extract a pound of flesh. I don’t think so.”
Minerva:
“This is convenient. I didn’t figure you would be this bright.”
Lucas:
“A lot of people seem to underestimate me. That’s their problem.”
The
door to the locker room opens as Jordan Majors steps out with Cookie Dreams.
Jordan:
“Lucas?!”
Jordan
the notices Minerva, Kandis, Raab and Valentine, who
has his crutch held up, ready to use as a weapon.
Jordan:
“Minerva….Kandis…”
Kandis:
“Ah screw this!”
Kandis
lunges and grabs at Jordan as Cookie reaches up, but officials move into the
scene as Minerva blocks the chair, trying to push it back. Officials get her
back and break up Kandis and Jordan. Jordan looks around as Cookie brings her
fists up. Minerva just looks at them and laughs a bit.
Minerva:
“Lucky this week…how much longer…And Jordan…you’re not done with anything…”
Minerva
almost sings the last part as she turns. Raab turns
and immediately follows her as Lucas turns to Jordan and Cookie.
Lucas:
“Ya both already, loves?”
Cookie:
“Oh totally. I could’ve punched Kandis in the ass a few more times!”
Jordan:
“That’s the important part Cook.”
Jordan
watches as officials remain between them as we cut to the ring.
Owen Cruze vs. David Helms
The arena's lights cut and the room falls into complete darkness as a buzz
spreads through the crowd, the screens suddenly lighting up with one single
solitary word...
"BANG!"
As the crowd react, the entire stage lights up with a brilliant white light and
the opening riff of an SCW remixed version of "All I Want" by A Day
To Remember hits the pa system. The crowd erupt into cheers again as they spot
the silhouette of David Helms standing there, his arms held aloft and his hands
throwing the Self High Five, all framed by the brilliant white light behind
him.
“ALL I WANT IS A PLACE TO CALL MY OWN
TO MEND THE HEARTS OF EVERYONE WHO FEELS ALONE
WOAH; YOU KNOW TO KEEP YOUR HOPES UP HIGH
BUT YOU HEAD DOWN LOW!”
The intro gives way to the chorus and the lyrics of said chorus flash up on the
screen as Helms suddenly jumps into the air and breaks his hands apart,
pyrotechnics exploding on either side of the stage as he lands and the house
lights raise again as the curtains part and Jason Helms walks out onto the
stage to join David there. Dave grins at the fans, soaking up the cheers before
suddenly bolting towards the ring, leaving Jason to head down after him.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall,
with a thirty minute time limit and is your main event
of the evening. First, making his way to the ring from Red Bank, New Jersey but
now fighting out of the Hollywood Hills. Accompanied by his brother Jason, he
is David Helms!”
Reaching the ring, Helms jumps up and slides under the bottom rope feet first
before jumping straight back to his feet and climbing straight to the middle
rope of the nearest ring post. He throws his hands up into the Self High Five
to another cheer before hopping down and walking towards the closest camera on
the outside. He throws his hands into the Self High Five to the camera so that
his face is framed by the gap in the middle of his hands. Grinning, he mouths
the word "Bang!" into the camera before turning and settling back
into the corner to another cheer from the fans as Jason stands on the outside,
talking to him through the ropes as Helms waits for the start of the match.
Sharper: “David Helms is among
the many stunned by last week’s assault on Shaun Cruze.
Not only that, revealing that he attacked Blake Mason backstage. That he’s been
quietly revealing his true self.”
Knots: “He’s pissed off. But I’ll say it. It’s twenty-two. And he’s pissed off life isn’t the way it was supposed to be. Welcome
to real life. You’re the one who kept it going. Blame Sasha all you want. That
seems to be all he can do. Blame others.”
The opening to 'My Stress' by
NF hits over the PA, and in the main a negative reaction spills out from the
crowd.
'Yeah (oh), Some days, I just wanna leave the
negativity in my head
I just want relief from my stress
I just want relief from my stress (oh)
Some days, I don't wanna see or
Have a bunch of people to impress
I just want relief from my stress
Yeah, I just want relief from my stress (oh)'
As explosions rock the rampway from the very top, making their way down the
side of the ramp, Owen Cruze then steps out onto the
rampway, wearing a long trenchcoat, the collar up and
his head lowered.
Phillips: “His opponent, from
Los Angeles, California, he is Owen Cruze!”
Owen lifts his head, a huge
grin now on his face and he turns to the nearest camera and screams at it
"THIS IS MY WONDERLAND", before beginning his walk to the ring,
avoiding any fan reaching out to touch him. The chorus kicks back in as he
walks up the step and onto the ring apron, spinning around whilst holding the
ropes, leaning back against them
Owen takes his coat off and throws it to ringside and then runs up the
turnbuckle and sits himself down on the corner, before leaping forwards into a
roll and then back up to his feet in the center of the ring showing his agility.
Owen stands in the middle of the ring with his arms outstretched his eyes
closed, as the boos and jeers intensify, Cruze just
taking them all in every single sound digested
The song fades, Owen backing to his corner, a now determined look on his face.
Sharper: “Adding to this, Owen
is dating David Helms’ adopted daughter. So there’s a
personal connection here.”
Knots: “Yeah, well at least he
can live the American dream. The disappointed father who can kick the crap out of his daughter’s boyfriend and he deserves it!”
Cruze leans in the corner, looking
around as David watches Cruze. The crowd roars as the
bell sounds. David steps up and Cruze walks out too.
David starts to talk to him and Cruze just shakes his
head and nails him with a slap. The crowd ohs and Cruze
then kicks David in the ribs and forearms him in the jaw before pushing him
into the ropes. He grabs David and whips him across the ring. David bounces off
and Cruze runs at him and nails him with a running
forearm shot to the jaw. David hits the mat, rolling over, holding his jaw as Cruze leans on the ropes. He then turns to him and walks
over and grabs David by the hair.
Sharper: “Owen disrespecting
David to start and now forcing him down.”
Knots: “David trying to talk
some sense into him.”
Sharper: “Add to the
confusion, what is Owen’s relationship with Giovanni? Another thing I’m sure
David is thinking about too.”
Owen drags up David and turns
him and kicks him in the ribs. He then forearms him in the jaw. He then pushes
him into the corner. David looks at him as Owen blasts him with a hard right.
David shakes his head from the impact. Owen then steps up and starts to hammer
away on him as the crowd boos. Owen ignores the crowd as he hammers away, the
sound of the official counting in the background.

cheers. Owen then walks over and stomps David in the head. David rolls over and
Owen stomps him again. David rolls to the ropes. He starts to get up and Owen then
walks over and grabs him, but David chops him in the chest. The crowd woos.
Owen goes for a hard right, but David blocks it and then kicks him in the ribs
before hooking his arm and spinning through into a hip toss.
Sharper: “The experience the
factor there. David Helms catching Owen.”
Knots: “Owen was all over
David. As aggressive as we’ve seen him, but David waited him out.”
Owen gets up and David chops
him again. The crowd woos and Owen staggers back, holding his chest. He turns
and David chops him again. More woos. Owen falls to the corner. David then
wrenches the arm and kicks him and whips him across the ring. Owen hits the
corner hard, staggering out and David runs at him and hits a running back
elbow. Owen hits the mat. He starts to get up and David steps up and chops him
a third time, this time, making sure to get a direct hit, the sound echoing
throughout the arena. The crowd ohs and then woos.
Sharper: “David Helms taking
him maybe to the woodshed. Hard chop. My God!”
Knots: “Orlando Cruze heard that one from beyond the grave!”
Owen holds his chest and David
turns and shoves him into the ropes. Owen bounces chest first and David jumps
up, catching Owen in the back of the head with a dropkick. Owen hits the mat.
David rolls him over for the pin.

2!
Owen kicks out. Both competitors
start to get up and Owen turns to David. David feigns another chop, but Owen
blocks his chest and David instead hits a snap jab. Owen staggers back to the
corner. David then follows up with a knee to the ribs and then another and
another. The crowd roars as Helms repeatedly attacks Owen.

4!
David steps back and whips him
across the ring. Owen hits the opposite corner. David runs after. Owen gets a
boot up, but David stops and catches it. Owen then jumps up with his free leg
and tries to kick David, but David catches his other leg. He then holds both
legs before then stepping back and lifting Owen’s legs up, but Owen backflips
through. The crowd ohs and then David just blasts him with a hard right,
knocking him back into the corner. The crowd roars.
Knots: “A bit of flash. David
didn’t care for it!”
Sharper: “That’s an
understatement. Owen’s speed and agility still what it is. David Helms not
impressed.”
Helms then grabs Owen and
pulls him out and into a knee strike. Owen flips forward. He ends up in a
seated position. Helms turns and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting
a dropkick to the back of Owen’s head. He follows up with a pin.
1!
2!
Owen kicks out. He rolls over
and David pulls him up, hooking him up and hitting a snap suplex.
David then moves to the corner. He pulls himself to the middle rope and dives
forward with a front elbow drop. He goes for another pin.
1!
2!
Owen kicks out. He rolls over
and David grabs him, pulling him up and just then Owen grabs him by the head
and drives him throat first into the middle rope. David bounces off before
dropping down to the ropes. The crowd boos.
Sharper: “Never seen Owen use
the ring like that.”
Knots: “Not like he cares.
He’s clearly given up on trying to even marginally do the right thing.”
Owen then rolls David over,
David’s head hanging over the bottom rope. Owen then looks up, pulling up on
David’s legs and then falls back, catapulting David throat first into the
middle rope. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Oh God! David’s
throat! Right into the middle rope!”
Knots: “That’s gotta be it for David. Hard to compete when you can’t
breathe.”
Owen then drags David away
from the ropes and drops down, hooking the leg.

David gets his shoulder up.
The crowd cheers. Owen looks out and then turns and grabs David by the head and
hair, dragging him up. He then turns and runs him over to the corner, driving
him face first into the top turnbuckle. Owen then hits a hard right and then a
kick to the ribs. Owen then hoists David up and places him on the top rope. The
crowd roars as Owen then looks at David and nails him with a hard right and
then another before jumping to the middle rope and then to the top rope. He
then jumps up for a top rope frankensteiner, but
David pushes him off. Owen lands stomach first on the mat. He pops up and falls
back and David steps up and dives off with an elbow drop to the chest. The
crowd cheers.
Sharper: “Helms with a counter
and then an elbow drop!”
Knots: “The impact caused Owen
to fall back into position!”
Sharper: “Cover!”
David goes for the pin.

2!
Owen pushes him off. He rolls
over and David turns and moves to the middle of the ring. Owen starts to get up
by the ropes and David runs at him and Owen lowers his head, hoisting David up
and over the top rope. David, however, lands on the apron. Owen turns and David
hits a pump kick to the jaw. Owen stumbles back. David springboards to the top
rope and Owen turns as David hits a springboard forearm smash. The crowd
cheers. David turns and hooks the leg.

Owen gets his shoulder up. The
crowd ohs and David rolls over. He looks out to the crowd and then gets to his
knees. He glances back to Owen and turns back to him. He grabs him and pulls
him up between his legs.
Sharper: “David thought he may
have it, but like any good veteran, he doesn’t stay far away.”
Knots: “Pulling Owen up. Going
to maybe plant him. High impact to knock some sense into him.”
David then hoists Owen up for
a powerbomb, but Owen slides through, landing on his feet in front of him. He
then grabs him and jumps up and hits a kneeling facebuster.
David rolls over, holding his head in pain. He gets up and Owen runs past him,
jumping to the middle rope and then diving back and just nailing David with a
vicious springboard superman punch. The crowd ohs. Owen goes for the pin.

David gets his shoulder up.
Owen rolls off. He then gets up and walks over to David and David suddenly
grabs him and throws him over with an inside cradle.

Owen kicks out. Both get up
and David gets to his feet, bent over, and Owen kicks him in the stomach. He
then looks at him and runs to the ropes. He jumps to the top rope and bounces
off, going for a double stomp to the back of David’s head, but David sidesteps.
Owen lands on his feet, somersaulting through. He then turns back and goes for
a clothesline. David ducks and then grabs Owen from behind, pulling him down
with the Honesty Policy!
Sharper: “Maybe a bit of irony
there. The Honesty Policy on Owen! Right after Owen tried to hit that double stomp he hit on Shaun Cruze last
week”
Knots: “And he’s going for the
pin!”
Helms turns and hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Owen gets his shoulder up
again. David Helms rolls over. He starts to get up and Owen rolls over too.
David walks over and drives his elbow across the chest of Owen. He then gets up
and grabs Owen. He drags him up to his feet and scoops him up. He then places
him in the corner in the tree of woe. The crowd roars as Owen reaches around.
Helms then stomps him in the cherst and then again
before backing up and going to the middle of the ring. He then turns and jumps
up and goes for a hesitation dropkick, but Owen is able to
use his agility to sit up and get to the top rope. David hits the mat. He gets
up, wincing a bit and Owen then glances back and hits a corkscrew moonsault onto David, riding him down. He rolls through.
David rolls over and starts to get up and Owen gets up again and runs at him
and nails him with a running dropkick to the face. Helms falls to the mat.
Sharper: “Owen got all of that
dropkick.”
Knots: “David’s head may no
longer be attached to his body. Owen Cruze made sure
to get it all.”
Sharper: “Helms could be out,
but Owen Cruze is looking for more. What’s he
thinking?”
Owen then starts to pull Helms
up. He then kicks him in the ribs. Owen leans over and says something to him
before running to the ropes, jumping to the middle rope
and then twisting back, but this time, Helms jumps up and hits a spinning back
kick to the jaw. The crowd erupts in cheers. Owen rolls over, holding his jaw
in pain. David Helms starts to rolls over, holding his
jaw. The official counts both down.

Owen rolls over, moving to the
ropes. Helms crawls to the ropes too. (6) He then starts to use them to get up.
Owen does the same. (7) Owen starts to get up and staggers back as David gets
up and turns and nails Owen, but just as he does, the crowd roars and boos. A
figure slides into the ring. Jason slides in at this point, having been focused
on Owen, only for Giovanni Aries to grab David Helms and spike him with the Bad
Trip. The crowd ohs and boos as Owen leans against the ropes. He then drops
down to the floor as Jason goes to grab Giovanni. Giovanni rolls out of the
ring, the bell sounding.
Sharper: “Damn it! Giovanni
Aries! Entered the ring and caught David when he didn’t see it!”
Knots: “Jason was focused on
Owen. And look at Owen…he’s fine with it?! Don’t even want wins now?”
Owen backs up as the camera
comes near him. Owen turns to him.
Owen: “Can’t wait for the
rematch for more money! Now I’m playing the system!”
Owen walks around as Giovanni
looks at the ring. David Helms rolls over, wincing in pain as the crowd boos as
Jason Helms looks at Owen and Giovanni Aries. Aries watches as Owen turns and
heads up the rampway to the back. Giovanni winks at Jason Helms as Jason shakes
his head as David starts to pull himself up.
We cut backstage to see Asher
Hayes in the middle of a conversation with Ricky James' sweaty attorney, Rudy
Powell. Rudy licks his lips while dabbing his entire head with a damp cloth.
Asher: "And I know me and your boy have had a lot of issues, but there's no one
I trust more right now on such short notice."
Rudy: "You betcha, Ashtray. Always here to serve."
Asher: "It's actually
Ash-... you know what? Whatever. We're running out of time. Are you
ready?"
Rudy holds up a clipboard with
some papers on it before bringing up and clicking a pen. He eagerly waits as
Asher takes a deep breath.
Asher: "First and
foremost, I'd like to donate my body to science. More specifically, my huge johnson and my abs. May they provide knowledge to the world
in death, much like they did in life. You got that?"
Rudy jots down Asher's words.
Rudy: "Huge johnson…and…abs. Yep."
Asher: "Now, in the event
of my untimely death…to Cid Turner and Holly Adams, I leave my SCW World
Championship. May they carry it with as much honor as A/C Unit has. As for my
half of the Tag Team Championships, I leave that to Holly as well. After
everything we've been through these last few weeks, I believe she's the one to
take care of Cid when I'm gone. To my old friend Ace Marshall, I leave-”
Asher stops himself, choking
up. He places his hand over his chest and looks to be on the verge of tears. He
takes a couple of quick breaths to compose himself.
Asher: "Okay, okay. To
Ace Marshall, I leave my fleshlight, my favorite
childhood toy. Despite how broken in it is, I feel he'll treasure it. As for my
enemies, I leave-”
Cid Turner walks into view.
Cid: "Ash. It's
time."
Asher: "Damn it. You get
all that, Rudy?"
Rudy: "Take a look."
Rudy shows Asher and Cid the
paper on the clipboard, which Rudy has dripped sweat all over. A/C Unit looks
disgusted.
Asher: "Dude, it's all
wet with runny ink. Is this going to hold up in court?"
Rudy: "I'll make it so.
With Rudy on the case, you'll win the case!"
Asher: "It's not a case,
it's my will! Are you even a real lawyer?"
Rudy: "Well I got rid of
Sasha, didn't I?"
Asher: "I don't-...I
don't know? Did you?"
Rudy just sucks his teeth and
smiles creepily in return.
Cid: "Asher, we gotta go. Holly's ready!"
Asher: "Rudy, make that
official! It's time to face the music."
Rudy nods while Asher and Cid
walk out of frame and head to the ring as the scene fades.

Breakdown
returns to a live shot of the ring where we see some sort of construction in
the middle of the ring and clearly a person, moving, underneath a giant black
cloth.
Sharper:
“What in the world is this?”
Knots:
“This is the big announcement. The EARTH-SHATTERING ANNOUNCEMENT!”
Sharper:
“Well someone is in the ring. They turned the lights down in the arena to hide
this…I know Holly was the one out here making this work. We could hear her and well…”
I am flesh and I am bone
Rise up, ting ting, like glitter and gold
I’ve got fire in my soul
Rise up, ting ting, like glitter
Like glitter and gold
Like glitter
Strobe lights flash around the entrance set to match the beat of “Glitter &
Gold”. We then see Adam Allocco walking out from the back, followed by Bison
Jones, who is holding the microphone and Anastasia Smirnov who steps in front
of it, making sure to get some camera time before Adam pulls her out of the
way. They step back and just as the music picks up, it
cuts out.

SLAY
"W Face," By Kumi Koda kicks in full force
around the arena as the stage comes into focus. Holly Adams walks out from the
back, doing a bit of a pageant wave, before stopping and turning to the back.
We notice she has a headset microphone on.
Holly: “Asher! Get your ass
out here! You’re not running from this! You need to face your fears!”
Holly’s music comes back up
for a few moments before it cuts out into the opening riffs of
"Awake" by Godsmack echo throughout the
arena. At the 26 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares
through the sound system. As the arena lights return to normal, Asher appears
on the stage, wearing a long leather jacket and sunglasses. Asher holds the SCW
World and World Tag Team Championship belts over his shoulders. Adam Allocco
turns and points to the Tag Team Championship and Bison moves in.
Holly: “Back up! Back up!
Champion coming through. About to face the greatest lifechanging moment in
WORLD history.”
Cid Turner at this point walks
out, holding his World Tag Team Championship. He looks around as Holly focuses
on Asher, starting to escort him down to the ring.
Holly: “Clear the way!”
Sharper: “Everyone getting
their music of course.”
Knots: “Union rules. Not like
there is a union.”
Sharper: “What about Cid?”
Knots: “He’s cool with it.
Look at him!”
The camera cuts to Cid who
looks more lost than anything as Asher Hayes and Holly Adams get to the ring.
Holly then turns and motions to Adam, Bison and Anastasia to hurry up. Holly
then moves in.
Holly: “Come on! I need you do
this professionally. Up your game here, Adam!”
Adam: “Yeah, Bison!”
Adam is heard over the crowd
as they reach the ring and Bison walks up the steel steps after Asher has
already entered. He then notices the covered items. Holly runs up after Adam,
brushing up against him before entering the ring. She hurries Adam along as
Bison, Adam and Anastasia enter the ring. Cid Turner is last and he’s the most
uncertain. He walks over to the black cloth and grabs it. Holly slaps his hand.
Holly: “No! Not yet! You don’t
want to have to deal with this yourself!”
Asher looks around.
Cid: “It’s moving!”
Cid points to what’s clear the
man underneath who moves. Holly turns and walks over to the man.
Holly: “Shhh!
You’re ruining it!”
Holly then turns back.
Holly: “Okay, we’re in the
ring. We’re good to go. And it’s time for you all to witness the greatness of
my life coaching here.”
Asher’s music fades out. Holly
recomposes herself for a moment.
Holly: “As we made clear,
tonight…will be an EARTH-SHATTERING, LIFE-CHANGING announcement and it involves
our World Champion, Asher Hayes.”
Cid goes to point to himself
before then looking relieved before then a bit uncertain. Adam keeps telling
Bison to film. Anastasia looks on as Asher’s eyes keep darting back and forth.
Holly: “Now, Asher, now that
you’re at the top of the mountain, physically holding the gold that has stayed away
from you for YEARS, it’s time for you to throw your past behind you. See,
Asher, tonight, it’s going to be hard.”
Adam nods. Holly glances at
him. Cid scans down on Adam. Holly turns to Adam.
Holly: “Not that way!”
Adam shrugs. Asher then pouts.
Holly rolls her eyes.
Holly: “Focus Asher! This is
part of what I mean. Moving forward, not backward. BEING a champion, not just
Asher Hayes! You with me!”
Asher nods, a bit uncertain,
before mouthing “I guess.”
Holly: “And to do that, you’re
going to face your fears. You’re going to DIE in this ring tonight.”
Asher’s eyes widen. Cid’s do
too. He then steps up at this point, getting in front of Asher, ready to
protect him.
Holly: “Cid! Cid! Relax…”
Cid looks at Asher and then
back at Holly.
Holly: “He will survive! I’m
promise. But the old Asher Hayes will DIE tonight. Allow me to demonstrate.”
Holly then grabs the black
cloth and lifts it up before, with a flourish, pulling it off, getting it hung
on the person, who pushes the cloth off to help, revealing a barber’s chair.
Asher starts to shake his head no. The man, underneath the cloth, naturally,
was a barber. Asher tries to leave, but Holly runs over and stops him. Cid
continues to look, completely unsure of what to do.
Holly: “No…you’re not going to
run from this. It’s not the first decade of the 2000s where being 40 and acting
20 was a good thing. Times have changed and honey, you need to grow up. Are you
a boy or are you a man? We need to make you look like a champion so you can
hold that title with pride with Cid over here.”
The camera again cuts to Cid,
who remains with his long hair, and completely unkempt beard.
Sharper: “Have they looked at
Cid?”
Knots: “I think baby steps. I
mean Asher Hayes is losing his mind!”
Holly turns to Asher.
Holly: “This is about growth.
You know you can do it. You’ll be ready to be champion for a LONG, LONG time
after this. A change in appearance. A change in attitude! The attitude of a
champion! Okay?”
Asher sighs and nods before stepping
forward. Holly then grabs the SCW World Championship from him for safe keeping,
as Cid takes the other half of the Tag Team Championship. Adam keeps eying
them. Asher then walks over to the barber’s chair before sitting down. He then
notices there’s something on the armrests.
Asher: “Hey, what’s-“
Holly then suddenly wraps a
leather tie around his left wrist. Asher looks at it before Holly spins around
and does the right one.
Knots: “She’s strapping him
down…she’s quick with that…”
Adam then steps forward and
Holly turns to him.
Holly: “Not the time Adam. Now
Asher…this is for your own good. You just showed some weakness
and this is to ensure you go through with it. I’m anything if not thorough in
my desire to help you succeed. See this world. Life coaching at its best!”
Cid looks at Holly and then
Asher who looks at Cid, worry in his eyes. He looks around. Holly turns to Cid.
Holly: “Don’t make me swat you
again, Cid. You know this is good for him! He’ll be a better co-champion!”
Cid gulps as Asher starts to
take deep breaths. Holly turns back and leans on Asher’s arms, looking right at
his face.
Holly: “Now Asher. I know you
love your hair. But this needs to happen. So…be strong and you will look
great…EMBODYING…what a champion is.”
Holly turns to the barber and
stands up.
Holly: “Let’s do it!”
The barber then turns and lifts up a pair of scissors as the crowd roars. Asher looks
at the screen, able to see this as the barber moves in, but just then, the
crowd erupts in cheers as Datura hops the barricade. She then runs over to
Anastasia and Adam and pulls Adam down by the leg. Adam goes down. He grabs
Anastasia, pulling her down and Bison tries to help her, but goes down too.
Holly turns, eyes widening. Datura then rolls into the ring. The crowd erupts
in cheers.
Sharper: “Datura! Datura coming
from the crowd!”
Knots: “Down go the Number one
contenders to the Tag Titles and Asher’s locked in!”
Holly turns to Datura and
Datura blocks a hard right and then nails her with a hard right of her own.
Holly hits the mat as the barber backs up to the corner. Datura then turns as
Datura sees Asher. She then smirks but this causes Cid to drop both World Tag
Team Titles and run at Datura. Datura catches him with a shot to the ribs as
Cid grabs her and clubs her in the back. The two trade blows as Datura tries to
go for the stomach and ribs as Cid clubs on the back before grabbing her and
forcing her down. Both roll to the floor.
Sharper: “Cid defending Asher
as Datura breaking this whole farce up!”
Knots: “Datura as destructive
as ever and now going after the one she will face for the World Title in two
and a half weeks!”
Both get up and Datura runs at
Cid and jumps up onto him. Cid catches her, falling back into the barricade.
Datura keeps attacking him, pummeling him with hard forearm blows. The crowd
cheers as Datura keeps hammering away. Just then, the crowd cheers some more as
we see Chris Cannon walk out from the back, a smirk on his face, as he then
runs down to the ring.
Sharper: “Look out! Chris
Cannon now coming down and I think he sees an opportunity for a bit of revenge.
For something to make him smile!”
Asher sees Chris coming. He
looks around, trying to get any help as Chris Cannon slides into the ring. Adam
Allocco is back up, with Anastasia yelling at him. Chris then runs at them and
clotheslines Adam out of the ring. The crowd cheers. Anastasia rolls to the
floor. Bison, meanwhile, calmly exits and backs away, motioning to Chris that
the ring is his.
Knots: “Bison Jones wants
nothing to do with this!”
Sharper: “Makes sense. They’re
to be challenging A/C Unit, not helping them!”
Chris then turns as Holly
Adams runs over and nails Chris with a hard right and then another forearm shot
and then another before backing up and then running at Chris, but Chris hoists
her up onto his shoulders and turns and hits the Lion’s Bite. Holly rolls over,
holding her ribs and Chris gets up and looks at Asher Hayes. He then steps
forward to him and says something to him as Asher tries to pull his arms out
from the straps, kicking in the process and Chris walks around and grabs the
electric shears. The crowd roars as Chris holds it up.
Knots: “Wait a minute…I don’t
think this is what Holly or Asher had planned!”
Sharper: “They’re going to
have to work with it now. He’s going to have to face his fears! And this may be
life-changing for Asher!”
Chris then turns up on the
shears and grabs Asher by the head and starts to run the shears along the back
of his heads. Asher looks up, squinting, showing his frustration. The crowd
cheers as Chris holds up some of Asher’s hair and throws it down. The crowd
cheers.
Sharper: “Chris Cannon, the
former champion, is getting some form of revenge. It may not be the title, but
for now, it’ll feel good. Shaving off the hair of Asher Hayes!”
Knots: “And thanks to Holly,
there’s nothing he can do about it!”
Chris then goes back in, using
the shears to come a bit more off. He throws the hair up, causing it to land in
front of Asher. Asher looks at it, getting only more angry.
Cannon, again, shears off some more and then again, before taking off a long
amount of the longer parts of Asher’s hair. The crowd cheers as we cut to see
Cid, in the crowd, who briefly got the advantage over Datura, trying to get
back, only for Datura to run over and jump on his back, riding him down to the
concrete. She hammers away on him. Adam then enters the ring and runs at Chris.
Chris throws the shears down and then backs up and back drops Adam up and over
the top rope on the other side.
Sharper: “Adam Allocco trying
to save Asher. I don’t know whether that’s because of Asher or Holly, or even
himself, but Chris seeing it coming!”
Knots: “Here comes Holly!”
Chris Cannon turns and Holly
gets up. Chris grabs some of the hair and rolls to the floor as Holly tries to
get her hands on Chris, but Chris backs up. He then looks at the hair and
smirks before holding it up and letting it fall to the mats. Holly turns and
moves over to the restraints, undoing them before Asher turns and steps
forward, looking at the screen, realizing that Chris has cut half of his
flowing locks and shaving the back of his head. Asher turns to Holly before
seeing his hair on the ring mat. He grabs it and holds it as Holly notices the
World Championship also on the mat before grabbing it and quickly clutching it.
Chris just smiles as his music starts to play.
Sharper: “Chris Cannon getting
a small measure of revenge. Asher Hayes…well he’ll be getting his haircut one
way or another! Guess it was life-changing!”
Knots: “That’s one way to put
it!”
Adam starts to get up on the
other side as Datura keeps fighting Cid as Asher Hayes yells at Chris as Holly
continues to clutch the SCW World Championship. Bison Jones stands with
Anastasia watching the scene unfold, as Chris Cannon climbs up onto the
announce table, dropping more of Asher’s hair as the scene fades to black…
