Shots of Deanna Frost, Kandis, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Vivent Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are in Salt Lake City, the newest home of the NHL and tonight, Breakdown where the fallout from Taking the Leap will be felt!”

The cameras circle around the ring for a bit longer before cutting to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit at the announce position.

Sharper: “Hello again everyone. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots at ringside and tonight, the US Championship will be on the line. Deanna Frost defends against Adam Brock.”

Knots: “Brock coming off defeating Autumn Valentine-“

Sharper: “He defeated Fall St. Patrick too. No matter what Lexy says-“

Knots: “Don’t you start.”

Sharper: “Don’t you start. And tonight, we’ll also see Selena Frost, still the World Champion, and I wonder what she’s thinking as Xander Valentine awaits her at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Knots: “Oh yeah and not just that, Twisted & Sadistic and Light in the Darkness are back on the collision course after Taking the Leap. All this and more!”

“Jesus He Knows Me” by Ghost plays throughout the arena. The crowd boos as the lights flash around the stage. A few moments pass before Simon Lyman walks out from the back in a white suit. The boos grow as he scans the arena. He then starts to walk down the rampway, running his hand through his hair.

Sharper: “You may notice Simon Lyman is not holding SCW Gold. Bree Lancaster defeated Simon Lyman, retaining the SCW Adrenaline Championship, and next week, on this program, Bree Lancaster will grant Cassie Wolfe an Adrenaline Championship shot. A thank you for stepping up for Amy Chastaine’s honour.”

Knots: “How nice to have a title shot and someone hasn’t been jumped! But look at Simon…so dejected!”

Simon Lyman slowly walks down the rampway and over to the ring. He then looks around before going to the steel steps. He walks up the steel steps and into the ring. He then looks around as he then walks over to the corner. Jason Phillips hands him a microphone. Simon Lyman takes it and walks over to the middle of the ring. He stops and looks down. He takes a deep breath and runs his hand through his hair again.

Lyman: “Ladies and gentlemen….”

Lyman pauses again as the crowd boos. Lyman looks up.

Lyman: “I’m sorry. I am so, so sorry…”

Lyman looks around.

Lyman: “We have seen so much happen in so little time. Amy Chastaine, no longer with us…and all because she couldn’t control her demons. And Bree…I tried. I really did. Trying to help you. Trying to save you!”

Lyman pauses.

Lyman: “Sorry…I’m…I’m trying to be calm. I know so many of you were hoping that I would be able to get through to her. Yes, the Adrenaline Championship was on the line. And it would have been a complete honour to hold it again. Dylan Howell and I, we had plans. I brought him in for that reason. Who better to ensure the Adrenaline Championship is respected! And it would be respected if it was given the attention it deserves while Sister Bree deals with her challenges…So many challenges….”

Lyman shakes his head.

Lyman: “And it’s clear why…she’s a giver. Gives far too much. To bad men…to the aged legends of the past….to toxic women and so-called friends. I just cared, Bree! I just cared! And I wanted to help you get past it!”

Lyman shakes his head and paces, turning to the crowd.

Lyman: “I wanted to save you! I wanted to give you the opportunity to get through your issues without the stress. We already know TMZ will be all over you. And…I just wanted to help, but you couldn’t see it. And I know that’s because Amy got to you. But that’s fine Bree…Bree…”

Lyman turns to the stage.

Lyman: “Bree…I know you’re back there. I know you’re probably getting some advice some people to move away from the monitor. But Bree, Sister Bree…no…Bree…you want me to call Bree. It’s a sign of respect. Yes….”

Lyman sighs.

Sharper: “What is he doing?”

Lyman: “Look, Bree…I just want to talk, to help. I don’t want you to go down the path of Amy. I want to save you, Bree. I want to save you! Bree! Please come out! Please…I…I need to come out!”

Lyman looks at the stage. He looks around, almost frantic.

Lyman: “Bree!”

Lyman looks at the stage.

Lyman: “Listen to me Bree! Please come out! Come out Bree! We can talk. I can help you. We both know how Amy is! You don’t need to listen to Josh, or Jaina….listen to me! Just give me some time!”

Lyman leans on the ropes, now almost pleading.

Lyman: “Bree!”

Lyman looks at the stage.

Lyman: “Come on Bree.”

The crowd boos as a “Bree!” chant begins. Lyman nods and looks around.

Lyman: “Come on! Chant for her! The fans want to see you Bree! I want to see you! Just to talk!”

Lyman looks around.

Lyman: “Come on Salt Lake City! Chant for her! They want to see you come to see me!”

Lyman extends his arms as the crowd boos a bit while the chants also continue a bit.

Lyman: “Please…”

Lyman looks around.

Knots: “I don’t think she’s coming out.”

Sharper: “Do you blame her? She’s beaten him twice in a row. Adrenaline Championship on the line both times and after everything he has done to her, to Amy…”

Knots: “But he wants to talk-“

Sharper: “Yeah…talk…”

Lyman continues to plead.

Lyman: “Please, Bree! Sister…no…Ms. Lancaster! Yes! Ms. Lancaster!”

We then see Lisa Archer walking down to the ring. Lyman ignores her.

Lyman: “Bree….”

Lyman starts to fade a bit, almost showing the desperation, but also the relent. Archer walks to the ring and motions to him. Lyman looks at her. He leans forward, speaking to her through the ropes, away from the microphone.

Lyman: “I need to do this. I must save her.”

Archer: “Come on Simon…”

Lyman sighs and steps through the ropes and drops down to the floor. He looks arounds as Archer starts to lead him to the back. The crowd looks on as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, cameras roll as we see Selena Frost talking to CHBK.

Frost: “I am starting to think that making mistakes is a trend.”

CHBK: “What is it now Selena? We’ve met your contractual demands to the letter-“

Frost: “Let me ask you something. When you were World Champion? Did you believe you should be in the main event of every show?”

CHBK sighs.

Frost: “How about when you were coming up? Or how about just the way the business should work? You have me as World Champion. Not Kandis. Not Asher Hayes. You have me as it. You know the standard to which I hold myself. No one can touch it. No one here. And yet, the World Championship went on second last at Taking the Leap.”

CHBK: “Lancaster and Lyman had a significant rivalry-“

Frost: “Then when one of them holds the World Title, they can get the main event. Don’t penalize me because Kirsten Scott got lucky one night. She had the spotlights on her. I come with those spotlights. I am not going to stand here, as World Champion, and be disrespected when I take being World Champion very seriously. It’s why I’ve done everything I have done.”

CHBK: “Regardless, it happened and Taking Hold of the Flame-“

Frost: “The winner of the battle royal can watch me beat Xander Valentine to close the show. Just like everyone here will see the World Champion as the final person who walks out before the cameras stop rolling…”

CHBK: “Even over Deanna and her title defense against Adam Brock?”

Selena pauses and looks down briefly before looking up at CHBK.

Frost: “When she wins the World Title, she can enjoy the spoils I’m ensuring she’s earned.”

Selena turns and heads off as CHBK watches Selena leave, clearly unimpressed by her diatribe as the scene cuts away.

“The One” Kirsten Scott vs. Chris Lawler

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall.  Introducing first, “The One” Kirsten Scott!

The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz wondering who is coming out.  As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.

Eins...

Zwei...

Drei...

Vier...

Fünf...

Sechs...

Sieben...

Acht...

Neun...

As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...

AUS!

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey.  The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey.  Kirsten and her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle.

As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up.  Hailey goes into the ring, directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle rope, and The Oracle stands on the floor directly beneath Kirsten.  Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, while Hailey and The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's direction as well, all signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The One."

After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out in a "DELETE" motion, before quickly sliding into the open ropes from being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her corner.  Hailey quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the outside.  Both of "The One's" compatriots stand with her, advising her and talking to her, as she awaits the bell ringing to start her match.

Phillips: And her opponent, Chris Lawler!

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits.

As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. Tonight, he will leave everything in the ring, his spirit unbroken, his resolve unyielding, as he prepares to face whatever challenges come his way.

Sharper: “Two individuals looking to bounce back. Chris Lawler has been where Kirsten Scott is. He’s gotten close to becoming World Champion and fallen short.”

Knots: “Yeah, but I don’t know if Scott will appreciate that right now. She looks as mean as she ever has.”

Lawler goes for a clothesline but The One ducks and lands a pele kick.  She follows that up with chops that back him up against the ropes.  Scott with an Irish whip but Lawler reverses.  Lawler with a huge spine buster, planting The One.  The One scrambles back to her feet and Lawler drops her with a clothesline, a second clothesline, then a third clothesline.  He whips her into a corner and rushes in with a huge big boot to the face, Blitz Kick.

Sharper: “Oh! Blitz Kick. Scott caught.”

Knots: “She probably doesn’t want to feel anymore kicks after facing Selena!”

Lawler with a belly to belly overhead suplex sending The One out of the corner.  Lawler pulls her back up to her feet and sets her up for a power bomb but she counters by grasping his arm and dropping him with an arm ddt.  She quickly transitions into an arm bar.  Lawler refuses to give up this quickly.  He fights to the ropes, eventually reaching the bottom rope to force a break.

Sharper: “Scott controlling Lawler. Getting him to have to wrestler her game.”

Knots: “Don’t go for the arm. Go for the leg. Keep him down.”

Kirsten Scott rams Lawler shoulder first into the steel ring post.  She follows that up with another arm ddt before applying a fujiwara arm bar.  Lawler still refuses to quit.  He reaches the ropes after several agonizing seconds in the painful hold to force the break.  Scott drags him back to the center and tries to reapply the arm bar but he kicks her in the face.  Lawler scrambles back to his feet.  She charges him and he evades a clothesline attempt and then drops her with a release German suplex.

Sharper: “Another suplex. This time a German suplex and Scott launched across the ring.”

Knots: “And we’re just getting started. This could be a war. Good thing Lawler’s a General!”

Lawler pulls her back to her feet and then whips her into the ropes.  Lawler lowers his head too early and The One makes him pay with a vicious kick to the face followed by a superkick.  The One goes for a roundhouse kick but Lawler catches the foot and then snaps off a dragon screw before locking in Lockdown Hold!

Sharper: “Lockdown! Kirsten Scott now fighting through the pain.”

Knots: “Get to the ropes!”

Now it is The One who is being questioned about if she wishes to give in.  Kirsten refuses to quit.  She fights towards the ropes, she is fingertips away when Lawler drags her back to the center.  She still refuses to quit.  She keeps fighting and clawing.  Eventually she does reach the ropes on a second effort to force the break.

Sharper: “And finally, the rope break. But that was a while. That’s a lot of time in that hold.”

Knots: “And think of the emotion for Scott. She’s driven. She’s pissed off. She’s all of those things and that expends energy too.”

Lawler pulls The One back to her feet.  He hoists her up in a military press position but The One slides out behind him and then snaps off a reverse ddt, flooring Lawler.  She hits the ropes as Lawler sits up and then lands a low dropkick to his face.  Kirsten goes for a cover…

1…

2…Kickout!

Kirsten takes Lawler by his legs and slingshots him into the corner, his head bounces off the turnbuckle.  He staggers out of the corner and then she delivers a roundhouse kick, dropping him.  He tries to get back up but The One charges and delivers a huge running knee to the back of his head!  She goes for the cover…

1…

2…

…3NO! Lawler shoots his right shoulder up off the mat!

Sharper: “And Lawler just getting that shoulder up.”

Knots: “Scott hoping he was down and down for good.”

Kirsten goes after the arm again, it looks like she is trying to apply another submission but Lawler counters with a cradle…

1…

2…Kickout!

Scott pops back up and tries to kick Lawler but he evades it.  Lawler then turns Scott inside out with a huge lariat.  Lawler pulls The One back up to her feet, hoists her up in a military press, and then drives her down with Fury Suplex!  He goes up to the top turnbuckle.  He leaps off with a huge flying elbow, Air Assault!  He covers, hooking a leg…

1…

2…

…3NO! Kirsten gets a shoulder up at the last possible second!

Sharper: “Only two! That weight on Scott. Both the impact and then the pin, not enough to keep her down.”

Knots: “How much hate probably drove that kick out.”

Lawler pulls The One back to her feet.  He hoists her up onto his shoulders.  Is he going for The Impact Driver?  Maybe, but Kirsten fights out of it.  She slides out from behind and then drops him with a back stabber.  The One rolls over to the ropes and uses them to pull herself up.  Lawler pushes himself back to his knees and then to his feet.  Kirsten with a vicious superkick and then a roundhouse kick.  Kirsten with a double arm ddt.

Sharper: “And a DDT. Double arm DDT and Lawler driven into the mat.”

Knots: “That’ll stop some offense.”

Kirsten pulls him back to his feet.  She attempts to lift him for Downward Spiral but he blocks it.  Lawler shoves her off into the ropes.  She comes back and he drops her with a beautifully executed dropkick.  He pulls her back to her feet, sets her up, and plants her with a power bomb.  He goes up to the top turnbuckle.  He stays perched as she tries to get back to her feet.  He leaps off for a cross body block but The One counters with a dropkick to his gut as he comes back down!

Sharper: “Lawler went high risk. And Scott made him pay.”

Knots: “He’s sucking wind. Right in the gut!”

Kirsten prepares herself as she waits for Lawler to negotiate his way back to his feet.  She snatches him and then delivers a side effect, but she hangs onto the arm and locks in an arm triangle, SILENCE!

Sharper: “From the gut shot to the Silence. Lawler struggling to breathe!”

Knots: “He’s trying to get to the ropes…he’s trying!”

Lawler fights and struggles in the hold for quite a long time.  He struggles to reach the ropes.  He is nearly there but Kirsten drags him back out to the center and puts even more pressure on the arm.  Finally Lawler taps out.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, “The One” Kirsten Scott!”

Scott lets go and Lawler rolls over, catching his breath. Scott gets up as her music plays. She looks around and looks at Chris Lawler. She then pulls herself to the floor. She then walks around the ring and over to the entrance way.

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott successful tonight. Bouncing back. And Jessica Winters is waiting for her.”

Jessica Winters stands in the entrance way. Scott takes a few steps towards her.

Winters: “Thank you Adam. Kirsten…congratulations on your win tonight. Of course, you had hoped you’d get the win at Taking the Leap, but-“

Scott stops Winters.

Scott: “I…I threw everything at her. And a Frost beats me again.”

Scott steps forward. Winters steps back a bit.

Scott: “Mark my words…I will find some way to take them down. Why? Because I’ve decided I need to. It needs to happen. I will not let them have that over me. And there’s only one way I can do it, Jessica. And that’s the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal.”

Scott looks around as the crowd roars.

Scott: “Two years ago, that’s where I debuted. This year, it’s where I get one more shot to stand at the top. And I’ll either face Selena Frost, or I’ll face Xander Valentine and either way…someone gets shoved from the top of the mountain and for good!”

Scott backs up when suddenly, the crowd roars as Scott Reed, having come from the crowd, runs around the ring and then runs over and nails Scott from behind. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “What? Scott Reed! Reed attacking Scott!”

Knots: “Came from the crowd like a bat out of hell!”

Scott turns and Reed stomps her in the chest over and over and over again. The crowd looks on, making noise. Reed then stomps her in the head a couple of times before turning to Winters.

Reed: “Tell her that two years ago, she tried to ruin my life. And now that I’m back in the ring, maybe she should realize the skeletons in her past aren’t going anywhere!”

Reed stomps her again in the face and then again and again. Scott rolls over to the barricade. Reed then gets in her face before backing up. He throws his arms up as the crowd cheers. Jessica Winters looks at Scott and then Reed. Scott Reed backs up and heads to the back as the crowd roars. Scott rolls over, holding her jaw, clearly annoyed.

Lexy Chapel is shown pacing backstage as Ravyn Taylor stands with her.

Chapel: “Okay, I can figure this out. Syren injured…Taking Hold of the Flame…Ravyn failing…”

Ravyn: “Uh-huh….”

Chapel: “And Autumn. Autumn not here. Travel issues. And-“

Ravyn: “How did you have travel issues when you’re married? Are you tell-“

Chapel: “Quiet, Satan! Syren’s not here, so I don’t have to try as hard. But I need to get this back on track. Autumn losing at Taking the Leap. But Fall St. Patrick. She’s got to be in action tonight.”

Ravyn: “Why does she have-“

Chapel: “I’m the one scheming tonight. Okay? I need to salvage all of this as SOMEONE tried to go alone and screwed up and Syren is hurt. And why does my dad hate me and LexyCorp. He should love Syren and…”

Chapel walks off as Ravyn folds her arms.

Ravyn: “Zoe…you’re better off not here.”

Body, Heart & Soul vs. Team Desire

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on SCW’s Jumbotron. A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are Body, Heart, and Soul, Colleen and Aisling!”

The music plays for quite some time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Colleen and Aisling walk out from behind, wearing matching pantsuits. They look around before starting to head to the ring. Colleen looks on focused as Aisling plays to the crowd a bit. They make their walk down the ramp. Colleen and Aisling reach the ring and slide in. They get to their feet and raise their arms overhead. Colleen and Aisling walks around the ring.

Sharper: “Taking the Leap saw both these teams in action against each other. Twisted & Sadistic were the winners, but Team Desire and Body, Heart and Soul were both part of it and had moments where they looked like they’d take it.”

Knots: “But close doesn’t count, Sharper. And tonight, they’re going back. Remember the start of the year – well, we’ll see if Team Desire can still get past Body, Heart, and Soul. EFN may be otherwise focused.”

The arena lights dim down and pink light shine on the stage. “Kings & Queens” by Ava Max plays as The Queen of Queens and Goddess of Desire Katie Steward steps out on the stage. She walks her beautiful white and gold religious ring robe that is popelike and spins around in a circle showing it off the crowd. Giovanna Steward follows behind her wearing her leather spiked “Brat Club” jacket and a black bandana covering the lower half of her face. TJ Johnson walks out onto the stage with Katie and the two nod to on another before Katie continues her walk to the ring with her arms out and his hands at shoulder length while Gigi follows behind.

Phillips: “Their opponents, accompanied by TJ Johnson, they are Katie and Gigi Steward, Team Desire!”

Katie walks around the ring and Gigi rolls under the bottom rope. Katie walks up the ring steps carefully and across the apron. TJ runs up after her and holds open the ropes for her to enter the ring. Katie walks to the center of the ring and she disrobes for the crowd. She shows off her wrestling attire. TJ takes her robe and exits the ring and Katie to her corner.

Sharper: “Katie Steward and Gigi Steward still hoping for that one moment. They want to become the number one contenders.”

Knots: “They’re waiting for now, but we’ll see wat this means. They need to get past Body, Heart, and Soul tonight though.”

Sharper: “And the tag division heating up. We talked about its strengths last fall and it’s not abated at all.”

The bell sounds as Gigi starts out with Aisling on the other side. The two circle and lock up in the middle of the ring. Gigi pushes Aisling back into the neutral corner. She pushes Aisling back.

Sharper: “And that was close! That was too close if you’re Body, Heart, and Soul!”

Knots: “Gigi thought she had it and she got all of that DDT.”

Katie rolls to the apron. TJ checks on her as Aisling slowly fights to the corner. Gigi gets up and grabs Colleen and pulls her up before hitting a scoop slam. She turns and exits to the apron. She climbs to the top rope and looks down at Colleen. She then dives of and goes for another frog splash, but Colleen gets her knees up. Gigi rolls forward, holding her ribs. She stirs as Colleen turns and crawls over to Aisling and dives for the tag. The crowd cheers as Aisling climbs to the top rope and Gigi gets up only for Aisling to hit a huge crossbody. She rolls through. Gigi rolls over and gets up and Aisling runs at her and hits a spinning heel kick. She gets up and Katie stirs on the apron and Aisling runs over and hits a running dropkick. Katie falls off to the ground. The crowd ohs. Aisling gets up and moves to the Team Desire corner and Gigi gets up and runs at her, but Aisling pops up and traps her and locks in the tarantula. The crowd roars. Aisling pulls on the arms and legs of Gigi.

Sharper: “Tarantula in dangerous territory!”

Knots: “Can’t say that Aisling doesn’t have balls…except…well…I don’t know if she physically…metaphorical balls!”

Gigi rolls over as Aisling then climbs up to the top rope. Katie then tries to fight up and climbs up and grabs Aisling by the leg. Aisling kicks her off and Katie falls back. Gigi gets up and runs at Aisling. Aisling hops off and rolls through. She turns as Gigi runs at her and Aisling catches her and locks her in before rolling around and around and around and locking in the All Out. Colleen enters and runs at the ropes as Katie is knocked off the apron.

The bell sounds and Aisling lets go and rolls over. She moves to her knees as Colleen heads over and raises her arm.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Body, Heart, and Soul!”

Sharper: “And Aisling catching Gigi. No way out and gets the three count. And finally, they get the Team Desire monkey off their back.”

Knots: “Team Desire has a monkey?!”

Sharper: “It’s a figure of speech.”

Knots: “They do have figures…”

Aisling and Colleen celebrate as Katie leans on the apron in pain as TJ looks on. The crowd cheers for Aisling and Colleen before the scene cuts away.

Bree Lancaster stands with Cassie Wolfe and Jaina Lancaster backstage.

Wolfe: “Look, I know you’re just being kind, but I’m just trying to be decent-“

Bree: “No, I insisted. You’re the future of the Adrenaline Division. You just need to put it all together. Amy saw that. I see it. And I want the world to see it. You’ve been getting people’s attention. And you know what…I’m not going to let you walk out the champion easily, but if you beat it, you will have earned it.”

Jaina: “Plus, anything that makes Simon Lyman and Dylan Howell eat crow is worth it.”

Wolfe: “Is he still whining or yelling out?”

Bree: “Who cares? Let him whine. Let him claim he needs to save me. I don’t need him or anything he offers. No one should. And don’t get me started about Selena’s tantrum.”

Jaina: “She went off there…”

Bree: “Just revealing her true colours as far as I’m concerned. That she should be the main event because she’s the World Champion. And then taking it from Deanna…look, there’s some issues there. I’d know.”

Jaina: “Yeah…about that? How are you….you know?”

Bree: “Fine. Dom’s gone. I’m moving on. Maybe a bit less TMZ is a good thing. And Simon doesn’t need to help there either.”

Wolfe: “You’re going to make me feel bad if I win then. Things turning the corner-“

Bree: “Don’t. Next week, bring everything. Prove us right!”

Wolfe: “Okay…I’ll try.”

The scene fades to commercial.

Knots: “Time for Cassie to step up. Bree wants a challenge. All thanks to Cassie helping Bree with Simon Lyman. Talk about a high payment!”

Sharper: “And that’s not all…”

We then see a still for Xander Valentine on the screen.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine will be in action next week. He’s off this week, training hard for his match against Selena Frost at Taking Hold of the Flame. He will make his presence felt next week. That’s for sure.”

Valkyr in action

Out go the lights with a flick of a switch, the moment it does the opening to Half God, Half Devil hits over the P.A System. All eyes divert to the stage as gold and white light illuminates the arena like ripples in an ocean, while doing so the screens show a world tree before revealing Valhalla and with a camera moving through it before reaching a place in the throne room where Valkyr stands in her gear. The lights beam down to the stage and standing there in the same gear with her winged crown in all her glory is Valkyr.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, hailing from “Valhalla”, being accompanied to the ring by Chris Cannon… She is VALKYR!!!”

The crowd roars with a mixture of cheers and boos for both as the arena’s lights come back on to show Cannon standing behind her. She looks back to him and he nods to her while she soaks up the reaction from the crowd. Valkyr then looks down towards the ring and starts to walk slowly and confidently as the lyrics begin in the song. Cannon follows shortly after her as the two now walk down the ramp. We then cut to see a woman wearing jeans and a black biker vest.

Phillips: “And her opponent, from Bismarck, North Dakota, this is Thug!”

Thug throws her arm up, making devil horns. Back in the entrance way, a few fans reach out but both Valkyr and Cannon ignore their pleas. Valkyr reaches the bottom of the ramp first and stops to survey the ring, which is when approaches the ring and grabs the middle rope before pulling herself up onto the apron and then entering while holding the crown. Cannon stops at the ramp and watches with a smile. Inside the ring Valkyr walks to the middle and extends her arms  posing to the crowd which gets a mixed reaction. She removes her entrance gear and the winged crown, handing them both to Cannon who gives them to a stagehand at ringside to take care of. Chris now climbs the apron and starts to whisper in the ear of Valkyr before the bell sounds and her music fades.

Sharper: “Finally we will see this woman in action – Valkyr, the newest protégé of I guess, Chris Cannon.”

Knots: “Said she was passed over for an opportunity. Well, she’s got one here!”

Sharper: “And taking on Thug, a local competitor who has garnered some attention as of late.”

Knots: “She looks like the type of person that rolls into the dry counties in Utah and they still give her booze just to be safe!”

The bell sounds. Thug then runs at Valkyr and nails her with a hard right and then another and another and another. Valkyr falls back into the corner and Thug clubs her over and over and over again. Valkyr drops to a knee as the official calls for the break.

Thug is forced back by the official. She then looks at him before turning and running at Valkyr who then hits an elbow. Thug staggers back and Valkyr steps up and hits a European uppercut. Thug staggers back and Valkyr hits a second one. She then turns and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running lariat, dropping Thug. Thug rolls over and starts to get up and Valkyr grabs her and hooks him up before hooking her leg and hitting a release fisherman’s suplex.

Sharper: “Just pure strength there with that fisherman’s suplex.”

Knots: “Did she learn that from Chris…or maybe Kelcey…or…”

Sharper: “And she just getting back up!”

Thug turns and stirs and Valkyr watches her and runs at her and jumps up and hits a shotgun dropkick. Thug falls back and through the ropes. She slowly gets up on the apron and Valkyr pulls her back and against the ropes. She then nails her with a repeated set of clubbing blows, damaging Thug with the Valkyr’s Wrath.

Sharper: “More like…she may know, she’s got this opportunity. She wants this spotlight! And Chris Cannon just looking on!”

Chris Cannon watches, his arms folded across his chest, as Valkyr turns to Thug and drags her up. She then whips her into the ropes. Thug bounces off and Valkyr launches Thug into the air before tagging her with the European uppercut for the Valkyrs Judgment. The crowd ohs. Thug falls to her knees.

Knots: “How about that, Sharper?”

Sharper: “That looked familiar…”

Valkyr then looks at Thug and pulls her up before hoisting her up onto her shoulders. The crowd roars before Valkyr spins her off with the Mjolnir’s Might. The crowd ohs. Valkyr slides over and pins Thug with a lateral press.

The bell sounds. Valkyr slowly gets up.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Valkyr!”

The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Impressive. Just impressive. No offense for Thug after the initial volley.”

Knots: “And she was passed over? By who?”

Valkyr stands in the ring stoically as Chris Cannon just smiles and applauds.

Sharper: “Chris Cannon is pleased and Valkyr victorious.”

Valkyr scans the arena as she then steps forward and exits to the apron. She drops down and Chris Cannon leans forward, saying something to her, before the two start to walk around the ring, heading to the back.

Sharper: “Now let’s go backstage where Destiny Page is with Polly Pingotti.”

Backstage, at the SCW interview area Destiny Page stands with Polly Pingotti.

Page: “Thank you Adam. I’m here with Polly Pingotti who defeated Chris Lawler and Gavin Taylor at Taking the Leap. And it looks like things may finally be turning around for you.”

Polly: “First, I hope that they get the hint that I don’t need help and I don’t need handouts. The two of them should have stayed out of my way.”

Page: “Lawler did off his hand-“

Polly: “I had no reason to shake it. I’m done being nice around here. As Aisling and Colleen showed earlier, we’re no longer a punchline. Oh, we’re the Playgirls. We love to play. Yeah, yeah, we’re now starting to focus on what we want. That’s success. Simple as that. And what’s the defining feature of success…I don’t think I need to say much more. Kirsten Scott can say it’s her plan. I’m going to be there to obstruct. Anyone else who will be in it. I will be doing everything I can to finally have my crowning moment. Simple as that.”

Polly looks at the camera.

Polly: “Feel I’m a punchline. I’ll just let reality punch you in the face as I take what I have wanted. Respect. And with it…a chance at SCW Gold!”

Polly looks at the camera and then Destiny Page.

Polly: “Now, excuse me as I celebrate with my girls.”

Polly heads off.

Page: “Enjoy…and Breakdown returns after this!”

The scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Chris Cannon talking to Valkyr in one of the hallways backstage. He then pats her on the back and Valkyr walks off as Lucas Knight walks over toward Chris Cannon. The crowd roars seeing the two face to face.

Knight: “Chris…who-“

Cannon: “Not now. I need to provide my report on her to help her keep improving. Give me a call later in the ring.”

Cannon pats his friend on the back as Knight looks a bit taken aback at being brushed off. Cannon walks off as the scene cuts away.

The opening riff to “Best of Both Worlds” by Van Halen begins to play. Glory Braddock and Brittany Lohan emerge from behind the curtain simultaneously. The fans roar as a mixed reaction comes from the crowd while Glory goes from one end of the stage to the other before stopping and turning to the middle. Lohan, meanwhile, continues her march to the ring.

Sharper: “We mentioned earlier that Brittany Lohan and Glory Braddock are back on a collision course with Light in the Darkness. They managed to outlast and survive a six team chaotic fight. One fall to a finish.”

Knots: “They got it. They watched and waited and got their shot. And took advantage and now, they have a World Tag Team Championship match. Their time at the bottom was short-lived.”

“Something reached out and touched me
Now I know all I want
I want the best of both worlds
And honey I know what it's worth
If we could have the best of both worlds
We'd have Heaven right here on Earth”

Braddock springs towards the ring, catching up with Lohan in time to slide in just barely ahead of her, climbing onto the apron. She enters the ring. Lohan enters the ring the traditional way. They two walk around the ring as Glory heads over to the corner. She demands a microphone. Phillips hands her one. Glory then stops him and demands a second one. Phillips hands her a second one. She turns and tosses it at Brittany. Brittany catches it. She then looks around as the music fades out. Glory steps forward to the middle of the ring, looking at the crowd.

Braddock: “Can anyone tell me what the point of Taking the Leap was?”

Braddock looks around.

Braddock: “Anyone?”

Braddock turns and looks at the crowd. She then walks over to the ropes and points at someone.

Braddock: “You…care to tell….”

Braddock pauses, trying to listen.

Braddock: “To prove ourselves….No wonder you’d not understand what that means as given that you’re standing there with an Owen Cruze t-shirt that doesn’t fit…We’ve been proving ourselves for the last year!”

Braddock looks around. Lohan motions to someone over on the other side.

Braddock: “You…Brit says you have a clue.”

Braddock leans out.

Braddock: “Because we suck! Oh…we suck. Well, I’ll contemplate that in my mansion, with several successful businesses and the fact that I’m a Supreme Champion while your idea of an accomplishment is something that was cool in sixth grade before the girl you had a crush on told you your breath smells.”

Braddock looks around.

Braddock: “Brittany…care to tell the world what Taking the Leap accomplished?”

Lohan: “Not a damn thing. It just reminded the world that Tag Division really goes through us!”

Braddock: “Exactly! I know that some of you out here and in the back are upset about that, but we’re honest. We’ve earned that in our careers. And we said it for weeks. There isn’t a team in SCW that can touch us. Light in the Darkness…two on two…they haven’t been able to beat us straight up. The Seekers…they may be a great team, but Brit, what did we say?”

Lohan: “They weren’t ready.”

Braddock: “And are they World Tag Team Champions?”

Lohan: “Nope.”

Braddock shrugs.

Sharper: “That’s not fair to Owens and Adamson. That match was very close.”

Knots: “Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.”

Braddock walks around the ring.

Braddock: “We’re just being honest. And Light in the Darkness didn’t pin us at Retribution. But we won at Taking the Leap. We beat everyone. Five other teams. And here we are again.”

Braddock walks to the middle of the ring.

Braddock: “So can we cut the bullshit and instead of wasting our time like we did last week, let’s just get this over with. Luz, Amelia…we’re right here! We’re not going to be hard to find…”

The camera then cuts backstage as Braddock and Lohan keep talking. La Pequena Luz and Amelia Blythe walk down the hallway, heading to the tunnel, but just as they are about to go in, we see Blythe and Luz stopped as we see a koala sitting in the way, munching on some eucalyptus. Amelia looks at Luz as we then see Cara Strader walk over, joined by Tamika Strader and Veronica Strader.

Cara: “Jimothy…you can’t just block the way. Although it’s good that you’re on board with what we’re doing!”

Amelia: “Jim…”

Cara: “Jimothy…always Jimothy. My French Poodle support dog!”

Luz: “Uh…”

Veronica: “Don’t mind us. You can deal with them later. You already have a date. We have some unfinished business.”

Veronica turns to Cara as does Tamika Strader.

Tamika: “Go on Cara. I’ll watch Jimothy.”

Cara reaches into her pocket, handing Jimothy more eucalyptus leaves. Jimothy promptly munches on them as Amelia and Luz remain a bit stunned as Veronica and Cara head down the tunnel.

Back in the arena, we see Glory Braddock and Brittany Lohan in the ring.

Lohan: “Only a matter of time.”

Braddock: “Given how long I’ve been talking and they haven’t come out, I hope this isn’t another Bree Lancaster situation. Unlike Simon Lyman, we deserve every bit of your attention and-“

“Hey hey mama said the way you move is gonna make you sweat gonna make you groove”

~A live version of Miley Cyrus’s cover of Black Dog (by Led Zeppelin) kicks into full gear with the iconic Jimmy Page guitar riff as the sound of Screaming Eagle tailpipes fills the arena and the fans are on their feet cheering.~

“Ah ha child, way ya shake that thing, gonna make you burn, gonna make you sting”

The crowd cheers as Veronica Strader and Cara Strader walk out from the back. Lohan and Braddock turn to the stage. Veronica and Cara look down at the ring and nod before storming down to the ring. The crowd cheers some more.

Sharper: “And it looks like Twisted & Sadistic are going to have to wait to greet Light in the Darkness. Same for Light in the Darkness. Here come the Cowgirls from Hell!”

Knots: “And they’re heading to the ring, and I don’t think they’re here to talk! I could be wrong!”

Veronica and Cara walk down to the ring and reach it. They pull themselves onto the apron and then step into the ring. Lohan and Braddock stand across from them. The crowd roars seeing the two teams face off. Braddock then goes to bring the microphone to her mouth, but Veronica quickly grabs it out of her hand. The crowd cheers again. Lohan steps forward. Cara then steps up.

Veronica: “Before we do what we know we’re doing out here…”

The crowd cheers.

Veronica: “I figured I’d let you know that we’re done hearing you bitch.”

The crowd cheers again.

Veronica: “And instead, we’re going to…clear the air. Because well, Glory, Brittany…you’re the so-called legends around here. We’ll follow your lead! You said Light in the Darkness didn’t beat you so you deserve a rematch. Well, Glory, Brittany…Congratulations on Taking the Leap. You won the match, but you damn sure didn’t pin us!”

The crowd roars. Cara leans in.

Cara: “Hell naw!”

Veronica: “And I guess by your logic, you’ve not proven anything about us and last time we were in the ring and went, two on two…we dropped you both down when we flew out of the ring onto your asses, so I guess, by proxy…you’re not the number one contenders in our books or yours. We have just as much of a claim as you do. Right Care? That’s how this works in your world?”

Cara: “Guess so and trust me, I needed a lot of help to get on your logic. But if you two say so!”

Cara winks.

Lohan: “Are you two both that dense?”

Veronica: “No. We just hate hypocrites and we like to cave their skulls in. But you know what, if you two want to be full of shit too, we’ve got our shit-kickers on and well…let’s make it clear. You haven’t pinned us and we may be new around here, but as you made clear…you seem to be two people to be looked up to and well….here we are. Prove us wrong!”

Lohan and Braddock look at the Straders almost incredulous before Lohan then blasts Veronica with a hard right. Braddock follows by striking Cara with one of her own. This sets off a brawl as Cara and Veronica fire right hands right back. The two duos, Veronica & Brittany and Glory & Cara pair off, trading blows as the crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “Twisted & Sadistic! The Cowgirls from Hell! Here we go!”

Knots: “And they’re all throwing bombs. Just hard right hands. Trading black eyes!”

The crowd cheers as the two teams continue to get shots in before we see officials run down from the back. The crowd boos as the officials enter the ring. They quickly try to get in between the two. Lohan and Veronica Strader grab on each other’s shirts to keep at one another. We see a cut under Veronica’s eye as Braddock is cut over the eye by Cara as Cara is pulled away from her. Cara spins around and Lohan runs at her. The two collide, nailing each other with hard rights and then both trying to throw kicks before officials get them apart. Braddock then runs across and jumps up onto Veronica. Veronica falls back into the corner, a result of her being held back bv officials. Braddock gets a few more shots in before she’s pulled off. Veronica yells at her.

Veronica: “Come on! Wait until my arms are both held back too!”

Braddock tries to get free as Lohan is held back. Cara runs over and nails Braddock in the side of the head. Braddock staggers, falling into the ropes as the crowd roars. Cara is then held back, pulled back from Braddock by officials. The crowd looks on as the crowd cheers. Veronica and Cara keep yelling at Glory and Brittany as they yell back. The crowd continues to roar as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Veronica and Cara Strader standing across from La Pequena Luz and Amelia Blythe. Officials are now on scene there.

Veronica: “Hey! We’re just handling things our way. You want to talk and do in the ring. Fine. We fight!”

Blythe: “You’re still new here. We don’t need more hotshots playing by their own rules.”

Luz: “Especially when-“

Cara: “Hey…they seem to be playing by their own rules. You seem to be playing by different rules. What rules? We just came out and fought.”

Veronica: “They needed to be shut up.”

Luz: “And we can do that by beating period.”

Veronica: “Then hop to it.”

Luz and Blythe now get face to face with Veronica and Cara before officials start to get them apart. We then hear a commotion as we then see Glory Braddock and Brittany Lohan trying to get at both teams. Officials and security stop them.

Glory: “You’re going to shut us up Luz? You haven’t yet! And the Straders…come on…we’re ready to go!”

Lohan: “We can introduce you to how things are done here.”

Veronica: “That sounds like a challenge!”

Blythe: “Hey!”

The three teams are held back as Braddock and Lohan and forced across the scene before we see Lohan and Braddock turn as Chris Dumont, a visibly taped up David Striker, and David Belmont joining them. They just watch the number one contenders, locking eyes with them.

Sharper: “And the Troupe. The Phantom Troupe watching. They were another target of Braddock and Lohan a couple of weeks ago.”

Knots: “Consequences! Actions have consequences! They may not survive to their title shot! Everyone has an eye on the challengers!”

Lohan and Braddock are dragged off as the scene cuts away.

Konrad Raab vs. Gavin Taylor vs. Fall St. Patrick

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show

And the song continues...

The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Phillips: “The following contest is a triple threat match and is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California…he is the All Star…Gavin Taylor!”

Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feel it whoa (whoa)
The more I need it whoa (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

I cheated to get what I got
Stepped all over you self for my spot
I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not
I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.

Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.

‘Feuer Frei’ by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace in the air, wearing red and black skull face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands. Ginny Raab walks out behind him. Raab crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “From Cologne, Germany, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos. Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes, while Ginny walks up the stairs and gets in the ring with Konrad. As he's in the ring, Konrad, without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, with Ginny taking Konrad's flanged German mace away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head as Ginny leaves the ring and goes backstage.

A woman’s voice can be heard as the video screens display the words she's saying in unison.

"Lexy Chapel Proudly Presents"

“FALL ST. PATRICK!”

Then a terribly remixed version of “Miss Nothing” by the Pretty Reckless plays as the cameras cut to the stage. We then see what looks obviously to be Lexy Chapel dressed in Autumn’s gear but wearing a green mask with a four-leafed clover on it. An unknown individual walks out, holding a lanyard and showing off Fall St. Patrick.

Phillips: “And their opponent, Lexy Chapel proudly presents, from Dublin, Ireland, she is Fall St. Patrick!”

The ref calls for the bell and Raab explodes out of the corner, taking Gavin down with a running clothesline. Raab then turns and charges at Fall, who covers up and screams very loudly.

Fall/Lexy: “OH…oh….OH! WAIT! WAIT!”

Raab stops and Fall puts her hands down, only for Raab to hit a knife edge chop, sending his opponent into the ropes. Raab takes a few steps back before running and connecting with a running big boot, sending ‘Fall’ over the top rope.

Sharper: “Konrad Raab taking no prisoners at the opening bell. He put Gavin down and then he took Lexy…”

Knots: “I think you mean the legend that is…Fall! St. Patrick!”

Sharper: “Clearly. My mistake.”

Raab turns around, just as Gavin charges over and takes him down with a running clothesline of his own. Gavin pulls Raab up and hits a knife edge chop, then a second, before hooking Raab and putting him down with a quick snap suplex. Gavin goes for a quick cover.

‘Fall’ breaks it up. Gavin turns and glares.‘Fall’ hits a knife edge chop. Gavin looks unphased. ‘Fall’ goes for another one, but Gavin blocks it and hits another snap suplex. Gavin goes for another quick cover.

Raab breaks it up!

Sharper: “The ‘All Star’ trying to end this thing quickly, but to no avail.”

Raab grabs Gavin, pulling him to his feet. He whips Gavin into the ropes. Gavin comes back and Raab goes for a big boot, but Gavin dunks under. Gavin spins Raab around and hooks him, before taking Raab down with a belly-to-belly suplex. Gavin gets to his feet, only for ‘Fall’ to club him in the back of the head, before rolling him up from behind.

Knots: “And St. Patrick trying to steal one here! It will be the best of victories.”

Sharper: “Clearly it’s not Autumn. But Lexy also seemingly trying to avoid getting caught.”

Knots: “You mean…Fall…St. Patrick. I’m not getting called out for this. I have enough headaches. I sit next to you!”

1!

2!

Gavin kicks out.

‘Fall’ gets up only to turn into a spinebuster from Raab. Gavin gets up and charges over as Raab gets to his feet. Raab catches him and drives Gavin down with a powerslam.

Sharper: “You have to wonder how Raab is feeling after the end of his match with the Enigma.”

Knots: “He wasn’t happy that night, and I’ve got a feeling not much has changed.”

Sharper: “You also have to wonder if the Enigma will make an appearance tonight, as well.”

Raab gets to his feet and pulls Gavin up, before hooking Gavin and planting him with a powerbomb. ‘Fall’ clubs Raab in the back of the head, only for Raab to turn around and smirk at ‘Fall’. ‘Fall’ shrugs and goes to back away, Raab grabs ‘Fall’ by the throat.

‘Fall/Lexy’: “I’m…SOR…SORRY!!!”

Sharper: “I’m telling you that sounds like Lexy. You can’t tell me any different.”

Knots: “I don’t know what you’re talking about. They sound nothing alike.”

Raab then lifts ‘Fall’ up before going for a chokeslam, but Lexy/Fall kicks in the face. He bends over and she hits a DDT. She then goes for a cover of her own.

1!

2!

3….NO! Gavin breaks it up!

Fall rolls over and Gavin just scoops her up and slams her down. He then pulls Raab up and hits a European uppercut. Raab staggers, only for Gavin to connect with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Raab goes down, falling through the ropes to the outside. ‘Fall’ is then shown using the ropes to pull herself up. ‘Fall’ turns and Gavin hits another European uppercut before pulling ‘Fall’ close. Gavin then lifts ‘Fall’ up for what appears to be a powerbomb, laying his opponent's back across his right shoulder. Gavin then reaches forward, grasping Fall’s head with his left arm. He then steps forward, moving his right arm from the opponent's waist to Fall’s neck, dropping with a neckbreaker.

Sharper: “And Gavin connecting with the Highlight of the Night! Will he put Lexy…I mean, excuse me…Fall St. Patrick away?!?”

Knots: “Thank you for learning the error of your ways.”

Gavin drops down and hooks the leg.

1!

2!

3….NO!!! Raab breaks it up, connecting with a punt to the side of the skull. Gavin rolls over and out of the ring. Raab then grabs ‘Fall’ who is trying to get up, only for roll ‘Fall’ into a pin as well.

1!

2!

Lexy manages to then pull the mask off of her face in a last gasp of strength.

3!

Sharper: “And Konrad Raab pulls it off, taking advantage of the damage done by the All-Star. And look at that…it’s Lexy!”

Knots: “Oh…oh…well…uh.”

Sharper: “You don’t know what to say?!”

‘Feuer Frei’ hits the sound system. The crowd boos as Raab gets to his feet. He looks down at Gavin who is recovering on the outside. He then looks at ‘Fall’ who has now rolled to the outside, as well. Raab glares at the entrance way.

Phillips: “And here is your winner, by result of a pin fall…Konrad! Raab!”

Raab then turns his attention to the outside area of the ring, not seeming to be focused on Gavin or ‘Fall’.

Sharper: “Raab victorious here tonight, but he’s looking for something. You just know it’s the Enigma.”

Knots: “The Enigma disappeared after their match at Taking the Leap ended in a draw. Raab wants blood, and I don’t think he’ll stop until he gets it.”

Raab is shown glaring then smirking before we cut away.

Breakdown cuts backstage as we see Derek Adonis, wearing a set of reading glasses, albeit they may not have lens, as he looks at a pamphlet. He then smiles. Sweet Sangria stands with him.

Sangria: “What do you think?”

Adonis: “We’re going to print, how many of these?”

Sangria: “Thirty-nine.”

Adonis takes the glasses off and holds them in his hand, placing the ear hook in his mouth.

Adonis: “So we’re going to use the Flame for promotion to get people into KABLAMIA.”

Sangria: “Exactly. Although a few people I’m sure you may not want to invite. Or you’ve named persona non-grata…”

Adonis: “Like Konrad.”

Sangria: “Exactly.”

Adonis: “So we could also offer it as a consolation for those not in the Flame. Everyone can get lucky that night….at least those who deserve it. I LOVE IT!”

Sangria: “So we can keep moving with this, and your campaign to be US Champion-“

Adonis: “Well, about that…”

Sangria: “Not interested. Deanna do nothing for you-“

Adonis: “Now, now, she’s a fine competitor…although getting her to KABLAMIA could do her wonders for other reasons…but no…I’m still interested, but maybe…we need to look at another red-head.”

Sangria: “Marie?”

Adonis: “No…”

Sangria: “You can’t be serious? Kim?! Are you on some sort of run to see if they are as advertised.”

Adonis: “No, no…just….I’ve heard she’s a new Hardcore Queen and well….”

Adonis smiles.

Adonis: “No one is as hardcore as Man Mountain! KABLAM!”

Adonis smiles as Sangria looks a bit stunned.

Sangria: “Well yes, but….”

Adonis: “Start the campaign! We’re going to bring everything together. KABLAMIA needs to be as big as ever going into Rise to Greatness season!”

Adonis smiles as he heads off. Sangria turns before Adonis runs back and sweeps her off her feet. She laughs and he carries her off camera as Breakdown goes to commercial.

SCW Television Championship

“Wild Thing” by X plays as the crowd cheers a bit. A few moments pass before “The Ronin” Chris Dumont walks out from the back. He looks around the arena, taking it all in before starting to head to the ring. He throws his fist in the air as he does, focusing on the battleground before him.

Phillips: “Fans, the following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the SCW Television Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is The Ronin, Chris Dumont!”

The crowd cheers a bit as Dumont heads to the ring and hops onto the apron. He wipes his feet and enters before heading over to the corner, raising his fist as he does.

Phillips: “And his opponent…”

"You and I walk a fragile line

I have known it all this time

But I never thought I'd live to see it break

It's getting dark and its all too quiet

And I can't trust anything now

And its comin' over you like its all a big mistake"

Phillips: “…she is the reigning and defending SCW Television Champioon, from Boston, Massachusetts….”

"Holding my breathe, won't lose you again

Something's made your eyes go cold"

Announcer: “..."The Phoenix" Marie Jones!!!!!!!!!!”

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the arena.  Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring. As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story.  Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring.  She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd.

Sharper: “From partners to opponents. And add the TV Title on the line.”

Knots: “The Phantom Troupe looking to bring home some gold, after missing out on the Underground Title at Taking the Leap!”

Marie with a spinning heel kick, a jumping shoulder tackle, then a spinning flying forearm.  Marie kips up to her feet.  She whips Dumont into the ropes and delivers a knee to the face.  She runs in and drops him with a busaiku knee kick, Kissed By Fire!  Chris staggers back to his feet.  Marie then a scissors kick.  Chris rolls out to the ring apron.  Marie with a springboard dropkick sends him tumbling to the outside.

Sharper: “And Dumont sent to the floor. Marie Jones using her agility. Off the ropes and right to the face.”

Knots: “Dumont can’t use the excuse they lost because Marie isn’t good. She just proved otherwise!”

Jones charges off the ropes and then leaps over the top with a suicide corkscrew plancha taking down Dumont!  She pulls him back to his feet and then rolls him back into the ring.  Marie climbs up to the top rope.  She goes for a 450 splash but Dumont rolls out of the way.  Marie lands on her feet!  Marie goes for a clothesline but Dumont evades and immediately follows up by dropping the champion with a front flip snapmare driver, Crown of Thorns!

Sharper: “And oh! Into the mat! Crown of Thorns!”

Knots: “She’s a Phoenix, not Jesus!”

Dumont hoists Marie up onto his shoulders for an airplane spin, one that seems to last forever, before dropping her with a fireman’s carry slam!  Dumont with a curb stomp followed up by a springboard leg drop.  He covers, hooking a leg…

2…Kickout!

Dumont pulls Marie back to her feet.  He snaps off a snap suplex, hangs on, rolls through, and then delivers a belly to belly suplex, he hangs on, rolls through, and then delivers a belly to back suplex.  He quickly transitions into an ankle lock.

Sharper: “Dumont, going for the ankle.”

Knots: “Marie, you better have some answers. He’s pushing you. He’s getting to you!”

Marie fights towards the ropes.  After several excruciating moments, she reaches the ropes to force the break.  She rolls to the ring apron.  Dumont hooks her to suplex her back into the ring but she floats over, lands on her feet behind Dumont, and then connects with a reverse ddt.  Dumont uses the ropes to pull himself up to his feet.  Marie with a kip up into a frankensteiner, dropping The Ronin.

Sharper: “From the mat, to the head, and down again!”

Knots: “Jesus. Dumont had not chance. Just walked into it!”

Marie pulls herself back up to her feet.  She drops Dumont with a double arm ddt.  Then she hits the ropes with a springboard lionsault, The Divine Impact, the cover…

2…Kickout!

Marie pulls Chris back to his feet.  She hooks him for a pedigree, The Hot Shot, a move her mother used, but Dumont counters with a back body drop.  Exploder suplex from Dumont!  Marie rolls to the outside.  Dumont sees his opponent outside the ring.  He charges and leaps over the top…Arrow from the Depths of Hell!  Marie is wiped out!

Sharper: “Oh my God! Over the top!”

Knots: “They’re all crazy, aren’t they?”

Dumont pulls Marie back to her feet.  He hooks her and drops her with a belly to back suplex on the barricade!  He pulls her back to her feet and rolls her back into the ring.  He climbs up to the top turnbuckle.  He leaps off with a frog splash!  The cover…

2…

…3NO! Marie gets a shoulder up!

Dumont gets to his feet and he waits, measuring Marie as she pulls herself up.  She gets up and turns around.  Dumont goes for Tiger Knee but Marie avoids contact and then drops him with a back cracker!  Marie locks Dumont in a bow and arrow submission.

Sharper: “Bow and arrow.”

Knots: “What is this? The 1980s? CHBK in there.”

Sharper: “Jones is a student of the game. Going a bit old school. It hurts the same!”

Marie keeps the hold locked in tightly, putting immense pressure on the lower back.  Eventually Marie does break the hold.  Marie then delivers a springboard lionsault, driving her entire bodyweight onto his lower back.  The champion then takes his legs and turns him over into The Angel’s Arch.

Sharper: “And now the Angel’s Arch. More pressure on the back!”

Knots: “And Dumont better block out the pain!”

The official is in perfect position to check on a submission but Dumon refuses to quit.  He fights to the ropes.  He is nearly there…but Marie drags him back out to the center.  She cinches the hold in even tighter.  Again Chris fights towards the ropes.  This time he does finally reach the bottom rope to force the break.  Marie drags him back out to the center and tries to reapply the hold but The Ronin counters with a small package…

1…

2…

…3NO!

Marie pops back up as does Dumont.  Dumont catches her out of nowhere with The Tiger Knee!  But Chris cannot follow up as he is also very fatigued!  Both are down!

Sharper: “Tiger Knee! Both down!”

Knots: “And now we can find out if the referees can count!”

Dumont is back to his feet. Marie pulls herself up using the ropes.  He goes for another Tiger Knee but Marie evades and then strikes with a pele kick.  He drops to his knees.  Marie then hooks him and drops him with a pedigree, The Hot Shot!

Sharper: “Hot Shot! Shades of her mother! Shades of Angelica Jones!”

Knots: “Go for the pin. What are you doing?!”

Marie pulls Dumont back to his feet.  She sets up for The Ave Maria but he counters into a belly to back suplex!  Chris pulls himself back to his feet.  He grabs hold of Marie and drills her with Thrill of the Hunt!  He hooks a leg…

1…

2…

…3NOOO! Marie barely gets a shoulder up!

Chris Dumont seems to be getting a second wind!  He pulls himself up and starts to measure the champion.  A superkick!  It sends Marie bouncing off the ropes and right into Code Zero from Dumont!  He pulls Marie back up and connects with a bridging Fisherman suplex!

1…

2…

…3NOOO! Marie barely gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Oh! How close! Too close if you’re Marie! Too close!”

Knots: “Not close enough if you’re Dumont. He was almost TV Champ!”

Dumont pulls Jones back to her feet.  He hooks for what appears to be a German suplex but Marie counters into a cutter!  Marie quickly locks him in an STF.  Dumont refuses to quit, he fights and claws towards the bottom rope.  Eventually he does reach the bottom rope to force the break.  Marie then drags him back out to the center and reapplies the Angel’s Arch.

Sharper: “Back to the back. Angel’s Arch again!”

Knots: “He’s taken a few shots. Maybe he won’t have much left!”

The Ronin still won’t quit, despite the pressure being applied to his lower back.  After another long agonizing few moments in the Angel’s Arch, he does reach the bottom ropes to force the break.  Marie pulls him back to his feet and goes for Ave Maria but he counters with a German suplex, he hangs on, rolls through, drops her with a second straight German suplex, he hangs on, rolls through, drops her with a third straight German suplex, he hangs on, rolls through, drops her with a fourth straight German suplex, he hangs on, rolls through, and this time releases on the fifth straight German suplex.

Sharper: “A fifth German! My God!”

Knots: “Marie Jones may not be rising anymore. She may just be happy to stay down. Dumont trying to just overwhelm her!”

Dumont goes for a springboard moonsault but Marie gets her knees up, driving them into his gut!  Marie uses the ropes to pull herself up.  Dumont is already up and goes for a lariat but she ducks and connects with another pele kick.  Marie then hooks Dumont and drops him with Ave Maria, the headlock driver!  She covers…

1…

2…

…3!

The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner and STILL SCW Television Champion, “The Phoenix” Marie Jones!”

Marie Jones gets up and walks around before being handed her SCW Television Championship. Her arm is raised over her head. The crowd cheers as she looks around. She then turns and heads back to Chris Dumont and checks on him.

Sharper: “Marie Jones just able to retain. The Ave Maria doing the damage at the end.”

Knots: “What’s this?”

Sharper: “Some sportsmanship.”

Knots: “So she’s not ransacking the body?”

Sharper: “No…no she’s not!”

Knots: “Missed opportunity!”

Marie checks on Dumont as Dumont comes to and the scene cuts away.

Diamond Steele vs. Religious Wright

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall.  Introducing first, Diamond Steele!

Diamond and the Gem Stones begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various instruments as we are able to see Diamond Steele emerging from the curtain. She has a microphone in her hands sings as loudly as she can to the sound of roaring cheers. Kate smirks as she just sings loudly which results in even more cheers. Diamond finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd who cheers louder than before. She waves at them off as she throws the microphone to the side. She smirks as she opens up a pocket mirror and takes a moment to admire how beautiful her hair is as she waits for the match to begin.

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, from The Sword of Joshua Full Gospel Pentecostal Temple of Joy Holiness by way of Mt. Judea, Arkansas, he is RELIGIOUS WRIGHT!

“I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe begins to play. Religious Wright steps out onto the stage wearing a black robe and carrying his Holy Book in his right hand. Along the way down the aisle he stops by some fans. He presses his hand to the foreheads of some fans and shouts “BE HEALED IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!” Still other fans he throws Holy Water at them and shouts “BE GONE FOUL DEMON FROM THIS SERVANT IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!” Religious Wright then ascends the steel steps and enters the ring. He steps to the center of the ring and holds up his Holy Book and shouts “CAN I GET AN AMEN MY BROTHAS AND SISTAS OF THE LAWD?!”

Wright throws Holy Water into Diamond’s eyes as the bell rings.  He drops her with a spinning heel kick.  He goes for a lariat as she gets to her feet but she counters with a float over ddt.  Diamond kips up to her feet.  Float over neck breaker to Wright.  She grabs hold of his right ankle and wrenches in a tight ankle lock.

Sharper: “And immediately going for the ankle! The leg. Diamond Steele, looking to make this fast.”

Knots: “Pray for Selena, Wright!”

Religious Wright fights towards the bottom ropes, eventually making it to the bottom, to force the break.  She whips Wright into the corner.  A corner yakuza kick. She follows that up with a spinning heel kick and then a legsweep to take him down. She locks in a fujiwara arm bar.  Wright fights to the bottom rope to force the break.

Sharper: “And then to the arm. Diamond Steele all over Religious Wright to start. Wright may not even know where he is.”

Knots: “He certainly can’t think about it. Just focus on defending yourself! Somehow!”

Diamond pulls Wright back to his feet.  She hooks him for a German suplex but he blocks it.  A standing switch by Wright.  He delivers one German suplex, then hangs on, rolls through, snaps off a second straight German suplex, hangs on, rolls through, then snaps off a third German suplex to complete The Holy Roller.

Religious Wright: PRAISE BE TO SELENA FROST!  I BELIEVE! I BELIEVE! I BELIEVE!

Wright then goes up to the top turnbuckle.  He leaps off the top for a diving headbutt, THE LEAP OF FAITH…But Diamond rolls out of the way and Wright hits nothing but canvas!

Sharper: “No one home! Diamond Steele out of the way!”

Knots: “Oh God…Selena did not offer any of her sorcery there!”

Wright scrambles back to his feet.  Diamond with a pele kick and then a single knee face breaker.  Diamond then measures Wright as he pulls himself up.  She drops him with The Diamond Cutter!  She covers, hooking the leg…

1…

2…

…3!

The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Fans, here is your winner, Diamond Steele!”

Diamond Steele gets up and looks around. The crowd roars as Steele has her arm raised. She then pulls it away, walking around the ring.

Sharper: “Diamond Steele with a statement here. If she can keep putting it together, we may finally see that potential!”

Knots: “What about Wright?”

Sharper: “What about him?”

Knots: “Can he still…believe?”

Sharper: “It’s a free country.”

Diamond Steele celebrates a bit as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Lexy Chapel, still in the Fall St. Patrick outfit, sitting on a storage crate. Ravyn Taylor walks over to her.

Chapel: “Great…now you. Look, I know. I know. That didn’t go as planned. I saw Konrad and well, he’s Konrad, and so he’s like willing to set people on fire and I know you hate Gavin, given he’s your brother and all and-“

Ravyn: “Roy is still saddened by that.”

Chapel: “Don’t mock me…I had a plan and-“

Ravyn: “That was your plan-“

Chapel: “I didn’t want to ruin the mystique of Fall ST. Patrick. The LEGEND. I…I’m Lexy Chapel. I know how to fight. But I got in there…and okay, I should’ve thought it through. You’re going to be all like ‘Lexy, you should think it through’. I DID and I…look, you didn’t have a plan and….failing SUCKS!”

Chapel throws the mask down.

Chapel: “Syren’s not near the World Title. Autumn’s out of Adrenaline Title contention. And you…you lost!”

Ravyn: “Rousing speech. But there’s one thing you need to remember…Taking Hold of the Flame is coming and one way or another, we can win that. And that you will need a plan. And you and I agree on one thing…Syren should be challenging for the World Title-“

Chapel: “And that contract she stupidly stupid signed?”

Ravyn: “There’s always a way around. So…”

Ravyn extends her arm.

Ravyn: “We’ve actually not killed each other. And I hope you notice one thing for you and I is Syren. So…”

Chapel looks at her and then back at the mask. She then reaches over and grabs the mask before reluctantly shaking Ravyn’s hand. They then head off as the crowd buzzes.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns to the arena where Jessica Winters stands in the ring.

Winters: “Fans, at Taking the Leap, SCW saw the Long Road Out of Hell match make its debut in this company. Not since the Hell’s Kitchen match, introduced by Soul Hunter, has one match had so much brutality.”

The crowd roars as Winters looks around.

Winters: “Tonight, even eleven days after the match took place, the damage done to both Kimberly Williams and David Striker is significance. But they both refused to stay home.”

The crowd cheers.

Winters: “As we stand here in awe of what these two did to each other, we think it is only right to bring them out to this ring so SCW can appropriate acknowledge what they put their bodies through to become Underground Champion and for your entertainment!”

More cheers follow.

Winters: “So first…please welcome…Bam Bam David Striker!”

Psyko Dalek's "Wish it Away" begins to play as the crowds come to their feet as none other than David "Bam Bam" Striker comes walking out onto the entrance way, looking worse for wear. He looks around as we see his arm in a sling, bandages on his face, and him walking with a noticeable limp. He looks around before slowly making his way down the rampway.

Sharper: “And you can just look at that man, battered, bruised, but even though he did not win, he hardly looks like a loser.”

Knots: “He survived. That was a win unto itself!”

Striker gradually makes his way to the ringside area. He then reaches the steel steps and limps up them, grabbing the ringpost to steady himself. He then steps into the ring and walks forward. Winters greets him as Striker looks around and nods as the crowd cheers him. He throws his arm up, playing to the crowd a bit. The music fades out as a “Striker!” chant breaks out. Striker smiles as he looks around.

Sharper: “And David Striker quickly becoming a fan favourite in SCW.”

Knots: “Easy to do that when you’ll do anything in that ring. The fans know what that means!”

Winters: “And now…please allow me to welcome…still the SCW Underground Champion…Kimberly Williams!”

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play. A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. The SCW Underground Championship is around her waist as we see her face bandaged up and cuts visible on her arms. She smirks as she starts to limp down to the ring. The fans cheer her as she gradually walks down the rampway.

Sharper: “And even Kimberly Williams showing the damage. You know she wouldn’t care to do so, but she can’t really hide it.”

Knots: “No one could after that. No amount of makeup can hide it and you can’t hide the physical pain that much.”

Kimberly Williams gets to the ring and then gets a brief burst of speed, rolling in. She winces as she moves to a knee. She then nods, making a comment to Striker. Striker walks over, helping her up. Williams and Striker speak a bit as they then step forward with Jessica Winters standing across from them. Kim’s music fades out as a “Kim!” chant begins before a faint “Wasley!” chant follows.

Winters: “Please! Give it up for these two!”

The crowd cheers again as Kim and David look around. Kim tries to play to the crowd, clearly showing herself in a bit of pain. David holds his arm up too.

Winters: “Now for those who did not see Taking the Leap, while we cannot show it all, and not even some of the most violent moment…we don’t want to be kicked off the air…you can watch the replay all month long on pay per view and whenever you wish on supremecw.com. But…let’s take a look at the hell you two put each other through!”

David and Kim turn to the big screen. The Taking the Leap logo comes up on the screen.

We cut to a still of the Long Road Out of Hell steel structure all around the ring.

Sharper: “I cannot believe what I am seeing here...it's both terrifying yet beautiful at the same time.”

Knots: “When we were told that SCW was going to host one of these matches, I honestly thought David Striker was joking...but he wasn't as we are now about to play host to one of the most brutal Underground matches in the history of our industry, folks.”

We see stills of David Striker and Kimberly Williams entering the structure. We then catch a shot of David Striker catching Kimberly Williams with a running knee. A still of Kim hitting David a kendo stick is shown before showing David doing the same to Kim. We cut to a shot of Kim driving David into the cage where the footage then goes black and white as he’s bleeding.

Knot: “And Striker’s busted!”

Sharper: “That he is and I don’t think that’s going to be only cut he’ll suffer. We’re just getting started here.”

Shots of David hitting Kim with a barbed wire bat chair, Kim hitting a full nelson suplex into broken glass, and Kim locking David in the Angel’s Arch in the glass. Shots of both David and Kim bloodied follow. We then see Kim climbing to the next section before David grabs her and Kim kicks at him. We then see Kim hitting a curb stomp off the ladder to the second cage onto David Striker. We cut to show Wasley in Kim’s hands before showing David grabbing light tubes and a still of him hitting a bicycle knee strike into the tubes into Kim.

Knots: “Kimberly was wondering how David was going to impress her and sure enough here we are, Sharper. He could've possibly already won the match twice now if he'd just left...but instead he's gone out of his way to purposefully put his own body through the very same levels of hell as his opponent!!”

We then see stills of David Striker throwing forearms while Kimberly Williams throws staple guns before showing David Striker yelling in pain.

Sharper: “I'm thinking that for this match, our champion upped the ante by exchanging her usual ghost pepper sauce for something far more insidious...”

Knot: “Water infused Ghost Pepper extract??!”

Sharper: “It would be the next logical step!”

Knot: “WHAT LOGIC?!!?”

We cut to then show stills of Striker chopping Kim before showing Kim drilling Striker with one of his own. We see Striker laughing as Kim cackles before showing David hitting the Hard Justice slam on Kim and then showing Kim holding brass knuckles looking like infinity gauntlets before then showing Striker holding up a barbed wire-wrapped bat, pointing it at a bloodied Kim.

Sharper: “WHAT THE?! Do you see what Striker has in his hands right now?!”

Knots: “Yeah, the guy has a definite Negan vibe going on here, partner.”

We then see Kim missing the Shadowblade, and a still of Striker saving her. This is followed by a shot of Striker claw-holding Kim’s face and then showing her hitting a Pele Kick. We cut to see Kimberly on the stage, holding her SCW Underground Championship.

Jason Phillips: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! The Survivor of your match and *STILL* SCW UNDERGROUND CHAMPION, the “WOMAN SCORNED”, KIMBERLY WILLIAMS!!!

Knot:

Sharper: “Striker fell off. He fell off, but Kim ziplined down and retains!”

Knots: “No. She survived!”

Shots of David Striker being checked by EMTs are shown before the Taking the Leap logo comes up on the screen.

We return to a live shot in the ring as the crowd roars. Striker and Williams smirk, enjoying their handiwork.

Winters: “And you can see exactly how it ended and what else they did to one another on the replay of Taking the Leap!”

The crowd cheers some more before a faint “One More Match!” chant begins, slowly growing louder and louder and louder. Striker and Williams look around, enjoying the reaction as Striker nods and turns to Kim.

Sharper: “The fans chanting for one more match.”

Knots: “What do they want? One of them to kill the other?!”

Sharper: “Or they respect the passion-“

Knots: “Of what? The Christ? Easter just happened. Are we go that far here?!”

Striker and Williams smile some more.

Winters: “Well the fans seem to want another….after this was pitched as the rubber match and well…you wonder what would happen if you two meet again.”

The crowd roars. Striker leans in.

Striker: “I have one idea of where?”

Striker smirks as Kim smiles.

Striker: “I hear there’s a bit of a big match coming…Taking Hold of the Flame? Maybe it needs a bit more chaos!”

The crowd cheers.

Striker: “What do you think about that? Huh?!”

Striker looks around as Kim looks around listening.

Winters: “Striker declaring for the Taking Hold of the Flame and Kim-“

As Winters speaks though, we notice black mist filling the ring. Kim notices it and looks around. Striker then notices it too and Winters stops.

Winters: “Wait…wha-“

The lights then go out. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Oh no…no, no, no.”

Knots: “Everyone get out of there.”

The lights remain off for several moments longer before the come back on and we see The Enigma in the ring. The crowd roars. Kim then turns and looks at him and smiles and waves only for The Enigma to immediately headbutt her. Kim goes down and Striker heads over and nails him with a hard right and then another and another before Enigma goes for the ribs. Striker grimaces and the Enigma grabs the arm in the sling and then wrenches it before pulling Striker in and hitting a bearhug slam.

Sharper: “The Enigma! He’s here…”

Knots: “Why though? Why these two? Why-“

Sharper: “Oh no…Jessica. Get out of there!”

The Enigma turns and advances on Jessica Winters who is frozen in fear. The Enigma then walks over and stands in front of her and tilts his head. Winters looks at him eye to eye before Kim gets up and nails The Enigma from the side. Enigma staggers as Winters steps back, shaking her head. One of the crew members moves her to the floor as Kim nails Enigma again and again before The Enigma knees her in the ribs. Kim grimaces and Enigma then places Kim’s head between his legs and hoists her up and throws her at Striker with a powerbomb.

Sharper: “Enigma using Kim as a weapon. Taking down Striker. And neither are in any condition to fight. But neither stopping.”

Knots: “Both helping each other. You see the respect too. And The Enigma seems to have no respect for it! For some reason!”

Kim lands on top of Striker and Enigma turns and exits to the apron. He then climbs up to the top rope. The crowd roars as he then looks down before diving off with the Shadowfall. The crowd ohs. Kim and Striker roll over in pain.

Sharper: “No! Damn it!”

Enigma rolls over and gets up as we then see Konrad Raab storm out from the back. Ginny Raab is running out with him, trying to stop him.

Sharper: “And Konrad Raab now out and they solved nothing at Taking the Leap! Ginny Raab trying to keep Konrad under control!”

Knots: “Good luck there!”

The Enigma turns to Raab and extends his arms as Raab storms to the ring, followed by Ginny. The black mist fills the ring as Raab runs to the ring and slides into the ring. He gets in as the mist grows as the lights go out again. The crowd looks on, yelling out as the lights remain out for several moments. The lights return as Konrad Raab looks around. The crowd roars as we cut to the floor where Ginny Raab is looking in the ring. The Enigma is behind her. He then spins her around and scoops her up and hits the Cryptic Slam on her on the floor! The crowd ohs. Konrad Raab turns and rolls to the floor. The Enigma backs up as the lights go out again.

Sharper: “The Enigma just attacked Ginny Raab.”

Knots: “Was that what this was all about? Was that his target?!”

Sharper: “The lights out again…”

After several moments, the lights return. Konrad Raab looks around on the floor. He then runs over and goes to Ginny. The crowd looks on buzzing. Kimberly Williams and David Striker are in the ring, in pain, as Jessica Winters looks rattled on the floor. Ginny is down on the floor in the entrance way as Raab checks on her. Raab yells in anger as the scene slowly fades out.

Breakdown returns as the camera pans through a sea of people as Dakon Theron storms over to the door.

Theron: “Where is she? Where-“

Ludvig Eriksson tries to stop Theron as Konrad Raab opens the door.

Theron: “Get out of my way-“

Konrad: “Dakon! Enough! Ginny-“

Theron: “I know! I know. Where is that supernatural spooky son of a bitch? Where is that moth[bleep]….”

The language is bleeped out as Dakon Theron spins around and looks around. Eriksson and Konrad both try to get control of him as Theron kicks a nearby light down. He then turns.

Theron: “Let me go! Let me go!”

Theron pulls away before we cut to the ring.

Waylon Creek vs. Sean Michael Prime

As the arena lights dim, a hushed anticipation falls over the crowd. The haunting notes of Metallica's "Turn the Page" resonate through the speakers, setting the stage for the arrival of Sean Michael Prime. Slowly emerging from the shadows. Sean stands at the top of the ramp with a determined gaze. He walks with purpose down the entrance ramp, his worn silhouette illuminated by a lone spotlight.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a ten minute time limit. First, making his way to the ring, from Salem, Massachusetts, Sean Michael Prime!”

With every step, SMP absorbs the energy of the arena, his long hair flowing in rhythm with the haunting melody. As the chorus kicks in, the crowd begins to stir, caught between the raw emotion of the song and the enigmatic presence of Sean as he slowly approaches the ring. Sean climbs into the ring, casting a stoic gaze across the audience. The metallic strains of "Turn the Page" amplify the intensity of the moment. Sean starts pacing around the ring awaiting for the start of the match.

Sharper: “SMP looking to still get his first SCW victory here.”

Knots: “The man has heart, I’ll give him that. But I don’t know how much more this can go. This is a success based sport!”

Sharper: “We will see how this goes. SMP taking on a newcomer, a man I’ve only heard very little about. Little I could scout on him.”

The sound and image of a babbling brook overtake the PA and screen. From behind the curtain emerges a muscular figure in a skull mask, adorned by torn up flannels, being led by a black lab on a leash. The dog leads the way as Waylon Creek follows close behind, looking around the arena.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Wailing Creek, Idaho, he is Waylon Creek!”

He hands the dog off to a stage hand when he gets to the ring and appears to say something to the dog. The dog sits calmly as Creek enters the ring up the steps. He calmly goes to his corner without any posing.

Knots: “Well that’s nice and calm. We could have taken a nice nap there. That was soothing.”

Sharper: “Waylon Creek coming to the ring, accompanied by his black lab.”

Knots: “Just…the mask kinda throws me off, Sharper.”

Sharper: “It’s an odd, odd look here for the young man.”

The bell sounds. Creek looks at Prime as Prime slaps his face to get into it. The two walk up to one another and lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another. Prime turns into a side headlock and smiles. He nods and Creek pulls him back into the ropes. He fires Prime off. Prime bounces off and Creek shoulders him down. Creek turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off. Prime rolls towards him. Creek hops over and stops. Prime turns and Creek drives his elbow into the back of Prime. Prime rolls over and out of the ring. Creek slowly gets up and looks at him, tilting his head and stretching out. Prime walks along the ring on the floor. (1)

Sharper: “And Prime started confident. That’s gone already.”

Knots: “Not a good sign Sharper.”

Prime walks around the ring. (2) He then turns and rolls into the ring. He gets up and steps up to Creek and the two look up again. This time, however, Creek goes lower and lifts Prime up and runs him across the ring and spears him in the corner. Creek rears back and shoulders him again and again and again. He then steps out and grabs him and scoops him up and turns and slams him in the middle of the ring. Creek runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a diving double forearm shot to the face of Prime. Prime rolls over, kicking at the mat as Creek moves to his knees and looks around.

Sharper: “Just turning up the tempo. On a switch like that.”

Knots: “And then just wearing out Prime with a whole bunch of offense.”

SMP grabs at his face and starts to get up and Creek walks over and hits a throat thrust. Prime moves into the corner. Creek then nails him with a hard right and then another and another and another.

Sharper: “Oh God…Just dropping Prime on the ropes!”

Knots: “He’s not stopping Sharper!”

Prime slowly rolls over and coughs a bit. He holds his throat as Creek watches him, turning his head briefly before then lunging and locking in the Canary! Prime reaches around and Creek pushes back and causes Prime to fall back to his back. Creek pushes down.

Sharper: “That paralyzing hold!”

Creek pulls away and rolls back. He then starts to get up.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Waylon Creek!”

Sharper: “Waylon Creek coming in here and with sudden impact and high aggression, making an impact.”

Knots: “And Prime is still winless. And he had a moment where it looked like it would come together and instead, Creek just gobbled him up!”

Creek looks around and turns and drops down to the mat and rolls to the floor. He then turns and staggers around before then walking up the rampway. The crowd looks on buzzing as the scene cuts away.

“Wolfbane” Adam Brock vs. Deanna Frost

SCW United States Championship

The bell sounds as Jason Phillips stands in the middle of the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit and is for the SCW United States Championship!”

The SCW United States Championship logo comes across the screen.

“Watching sand fall...

And listening for the knock
Upon my door (Listen)
And waiting...
For Promised Land”

FWOOSH!!! A series of red, gold and silver fireworks go off at the top of the ramp in a shimmering cascade. A roaming spotlight seeks to penetrate the darkness and find something... Or, perhaps, SOMEONE. A momentary silence, then...

POW!

Four blue fireworks go off and engulf the stage in their light. And as they die away, the darkness falls once more. But it’s not complete... The roaming spotlight catches glimpses of movement, but it’s too indistinct.

“Standing deep in life
My ring of brass
Lay rusting on the floor
Is this all?
Cause it’s not
What I expected!”

BAM!

White-hot green fireworks go off now and this time the spotlight DOES catch someone. Standing there amid the ghastly green glow is the one and only “Wolfsbane” Adam Brock! The fans erupt in a cavalcade of screaming and applause that seems to catch him off guard, but only for a second.

Phillips: “First, the challenger, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is Wolfsbane, Adam Brock!”

He grins wickedly and makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans. He grins and jogs up the ring steps before grabbing the top rope and catapulting over it to stand in the middle of the ring. Once his feet make contact, the cleverly disguised pyro containers secured to the ringposts go off and send showers of purple confetti fireworks all over the crowd. It showers down over him as he turns a slow circle in the ring, basking in the cheers of the adoring fans. When the last of the confetti touches down, Adam does one final turn to face the ramp, hands resting on his legs above his knees.

Sharper: “Adam Brock coming off a win against Fall St.-“

Knots: “No! Autumn Valentine. Fall is still undefeated. Even from earlier!”

Sharper: “Stop it! Nonetheless, Adam winning at Taking the Leap and getting a huge opportunity here to maybe win some SCW gold!”

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet. The SCW United States Championship sits around her waist.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Manhattan, New York, she is the SCW United States Champion…she is Deanna Frost!"

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the redhead jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring! On the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to normal. She hands off the title to Aaron Demitra. Demitra holds it over his head. He turns and hands it off.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost defending her title here and we’ll see how she does. It’s been a bit of time since we’ve seen her in the ring.”

Knots: “As a champion, you want to get those reps in. You want to compete regularly. You want to keep yourself at your top. Deanna is going to have to make sure she can feel that. If not, Adam Brock has been around enough, he can take advantage.”

The bell sounds. Deanna and Brock step up and watch one another and Brock lunges for a lock-up. Deanna drops down and spins around and moves into a side headlock. She pulls back as Brock pulls back and then pushes Deanna’s arms up and spins out and into an arm wrench. Deanna winces. She rolls forward and then nips up and flips forward again, countering with an arm wrench of her own. Brock flips forward and Deanna bends over and Brock pushes her off with his feet. Deanna, however, holds on. She rolls back and then goes for a top wrist-lock, but Brock rolls back. He then counters with a single leg takedown. He goes for the pin.

Knots: “I don’t know if that was the plan, but what the hell! You can still retain out there, Deanna!”

Sharper: “I doubt that’s how she’d want to retain.”

Deanna rolls over as Brock rolls in the opposite direction. (1) Both get up and Deanna runs at Brock and jumps up with a flying headscissors on the floor. Brock runs his hand through his hair on the floor as he leans now against the ring steps. He looks around, clearly aware as Demitra then gets up and calls for the bell. The bell sounds. The crowd boos a bit, while many just look on. Deanna walks around, hands on her hips.

Phillips: “Fans…the referee has elected to stop this match due to a potential injury. As a result, still your SCW United States Champion…Deanna Frost!”

Sharper: “Oh…that’s a shame. These two going back and forth, trying to fight over SCW Championship gold and…Adam Brock may be hurt.”

Demitra looks on as Chance Owens jogs down from the back. The doctor remains with Brock as Deanna leans on the top rope and looks down, not celebrating. Her music plays throughout the arena as we see Chance joining Brock. Brock looks at Chance and nods, saying something to him. Deanna drops down to the floor. Chance turns to her. BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

“Thank You for Hating Me!” by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. The SCW World Championship sits over her shoulder.

While her entrance videos and effects continue, Selena ignores them, only walking to the ring slowly. The fans boo her loudly as she walks to the ring.

Sharper: “Still World Champion. She managed to outlast The One Kirsten Scott. But now she marches to Taking Hold of the Flame where Xander Valentine will await her.”

Knots: “And they know each other well, but remember what Xander said on the last Breakdown – he remembers everything she’d done to him, but he’s not the same person she faced before.”

Sharper: “We’ll find out come Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Selena Frost walks down to the ring before looking around and smirking. She then walks over to the steel steps and walks up them. She then walks along the apron and steps into the ring. She then walks forward, the boos grow for a moment as Selena looks around. She then turns and takes the World Championship and places it around her waist. She hooks it up before turning back and walking over to the corner and being hand a microphone by Jason Phillips. Phillips takes it and turns back to the middle of the ring. The crowd boos as the music fades out. She looks around and listens to the boos. She slowly brings the microphone to her mouth.

Selena: “If you are hoping Xander Valentine will march down this ring to stop me, that will not be happening. He seems to think Salt Lake City is beneath him!”

The crowd boos as Selena looks around.

Selena: “All the more reason that not much will be changing in the coming weeks.”

Selena walks around the ring.

Selena: “Kirsten Scott can give a defiant speech, but she found out that she is no match for a Frost. And while she threw everything at me, and I can understand a little bit where Deanna may have fought for her…she still fell short. A trend around here. At least she didn’t throw a tantrum.”

Selena smirks a bit.

Selena: “Hi Kandis…”

Selena smiles as she walks around the ring.

Selena: “Is it not refreshing? To have things decided in the ring? Hot heads and those who frankly have tried to break through, but just aren’t ready….they’re not getting rewarded by taking short-cuts. People who hold this…THIS!”

Selena holds the SCW World Championship up for a moment before slowly bringing it down.

Selena: “They deserve it. Simple as that. And all I’m doing is making sure they earn it. And whoever beats me, will earn it. It won’t be like those who want to take short-cuts. Those who worry solely about their accolades. Lexy Chapel can fear what will happen to Syren’s record. Relax, Lexy. Although I gave a nice reminder a few weeks ago with that dolt Wright…”

Selena Frost chuckles a bit.

Selena: “You have nothing to worry about. Syren’s record is safe because I won’t be losing this title for the foreseeable future. And I’m sorry to any of you hoping Xander Valentine will prove that he’s a different man than when we last faced.”

Selena looks around. The crowd boos.

Selena: “Because ultimately…I’m still the same woman.”

The crowd boos. Selena looks around.

Sharper: “I don’t know about that.”

Knots: “Same focus on integrity? Same fight…”

Sharper: “Just using contracts and politics to force it all.”

Selena: “Doubt me…”

Selena smirks.

Selena: “Well…I have exhibit A…and simply put, I can do it again. Sorry Xander…you will prove you’re more the same today as were then. Last year you hoped Syren would retire you. Well, Xander, if our past is any indication, and I don’t take any joy in this…I may force you to retire on June 2.”

Selena points to the big screen.

Rise to Greatness XVI – July 21, 2019

We open with Xander Valentine on the floor with Selena. The match hasn’t started. Xander turns and pushes her up over his head and dumps her into the ring. Hollinsworth enters and checks on her. Selena rolls over and Hollinsworth can be seen going to stop Xander as he pulls himself onto the apron. Selena starts to get up and tells Hollinsworth to call for the bell. Selena then moves back to the corner. Hollinsworth checks with her.

Selena: “Start the damn match!”

The crowd nearby roars, hearing this as Hollinsworth calls for the bell. The bell sounds. Xander steps into the ring and steps forward, smirking before then walking over toward Selena with increasing urgency.

Sharper: “Selena. Take a moment. Get your bearings!”

Knots: “Xander has knocked her back, knocked her for a loop. You want to be a hero, I get it! I do!”

Sharper: “And the bell has sounded. Here comes Xander!”

Xander lunges for Selena and Selena ducks at the last moment, ducking a forearm shot. Xander falls into the corner and turns around and Selena hits a spinning back kick to the jaw. Xander is caught by it and staggers along the ropes, away from Selena as the crowd roars.

Knots: “She got all of that! Hell! Kennedy would be proud from that kick!”

Xander turns to the corner and Selena moves in and Xander grabs her as she runs in and shoves her back. Selena rolls through and Xander runs out and goes to catches Selena before she gets up and Selena spins out of the way as Xander misses a spear. He stops himself before the corner. He then smirks before getting up, shaking his head and turning around, and walking right into a Glass Shard. The crowd erupts in cheers as Xander staggers back and falls to the ropes. He remains on his feet and spins around before Selena watches him and looks for an opening before nailing him with another Glass Shard. Xander falls back and down to the ropes. He grimaces, holding his jaw.

Sharper: “Two Glass Shards! Selena’s catching him in the jaw with both and Xander! He’s still on his feet!”

Knots: “I don’t believe this! Selena wanted him like this! Xander’s stunned!”

He turns back and Selena turns and jumps to the top rope and turns around, but Xander catches her by the throat. He then turns and throws her over the top rope and back to the floor. The crowd boos.

Knots: “And just catching her and tossing her over!”

Xander walks around the ring as Selena falls over and into the barricade, grimacing. Xander then holds his jaw and winces, rubbing it before walking over to the ropes. He then steps over and down to the floor. He then nails Selena with a forearm and then another. He grabs her and whips her into the ring, but Selena hops onto the apron. Xander turns and reaches for her, but Selena slingshots herself into the ring and backs up. Xander slides in, annoyed before getting up and Selena runs at him. Xander lifts her up and Selena, as if expecting it lands on the top rope behind him. Xander turns around nonchalantly and Selena nails him with the Defying Gravity. The crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “Oh my God! My God! Selena hit the Defying Gravity!”

Knots: “Xander is down! He’s down!”

Sharper: “Xander’s not just down, but look at his eyes. Selena Frost caught him in the jaw. Right in the jaw!”

Hollinsworth goes over to check on Xander. Xander grabs at the ropes and then just falls forward. Hollinsworth keeps checking and grabs his arm. It drops to the mat. He checks again to be sure and it falls again. Xander falls to his side as Hollinsworth calls for the bell. The crowd roars. Hollinsworth looks around, stunned before turning and pointing to Selena Frost. Selena Frost just smiles as she falls to her knees and looks at Xander.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via knockout…Selena Frost!”

Sharper: “Selena Frost has knocked him out! She’s knocked Xander out!”

Knots: “Those kicks! Those kicks caught him right where they needed to! Thank God! Xander Valentine still doesn’t know where he is!”

Sharper: “Selena Frost noticed how aggressive Xander was, but also how arrogant. He’s always felt he was better. And tonight, Selena fought for every move, but when she hit them, oh my…she hit them!”

Selena Frost has her arm raised as the video pauses.

We hear boos from the live crowd as we then hear Selena.

Selena: “Believe it…or not!”

The scene fades to black…
