Say it again, say it again, tell me what I wanna hear

Tell me that I'm gonna be fine and there's nothing left to fear

'Cause I've been losing sleep (losing sleep)

Trying to get back to who I used to be

Where is the old me?

Chris Cannon spearing Konrad Raab follows before we see a shot of Gavin Taylor on his way to the ring, and then a shot of Kimberly Williams licking a staple gun. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are back after a raucous night in Los Angeles, where Rise to Greatness XVIII was the historic event we knew it would be. And tonight, SCW returns with the fallout!”

The cameras pan the crowd a bit longer, showing some more fans before cutting to the ringside area where Adam Sharper, Simon Lyman and Jonathan Knots sit.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and joining us is Simon Lyman. Rise to Greatness now in our rearview mirror. Three new champions. And tonight, we return with some big matches.”

Knots: “Big matches to say the least. Take a look at some of this. We come back and we’re hitting things hot.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A shot of Tommy Valentine vs. Selena Frost follows.

Knots: “Selena Frost, the World Champion, she’ll be in non-title action against one half of the new Tag Team Champions, Tommy Valentine!”

Lyman: “What about the other half? Kandis?”

The Breakdown logo comes up again and we see a still of Lucas Knight vs. Kandis.

Lyman: “She’ll be in action against Lucas Knight. We wonder though if Chris Cannon will be here. He’s not been heard from since Minerva defeated him at Rise to Greatness!”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen again before showing Ace Marshall vs. Holly Adams.

Knots: “The new SCW Adrenaline Champion, everyone’s favourite wrestler, Holly Adams faces a familiar face to her, Ace Marshall who is looking to rebound.”

Sharper: “And we’ll also see Xander Valentine face Glory Braddock. Bree Lancaster has an announcement for us all and so much more here tonight. We’ll also discuss the status of our boss, Mr. D, and there are some other things going on here in SCW. A very different landscape when many of us arrived earlier today in Washington.”

Lyman: “Yeah, and I ended up at ringside!”

Knots: “You didn’t come with the furniture?”

BELIEVE IT!

The SCW Universe are on their feet as “Kings and Queens” by Ava Max as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, holding the SCW World Championship, joined by Deanna Frost.

Sharper: “And we’re joined by still our World Champion, Selena Frost. And Selena already knows what’s in her future.”

Lyman: “Cid Turner defeated Syren to earn the title shot at Apocalypse. So that’s on the docket. Rematch from Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Knots: “And Asher Hayes will be taking great interest!”

Selena Frost heads down to the ring with Deanna. The crowd cheers her as she walks over to the steps and runs up them. She then walks along the ropes and steps in. She turns and holds the ropes open for Deanna who follows her in. Selena turns and looks around the arena and holds the SCW World Championship over her head. The crowd cheers some more. Selena looks around before going over to the corner. Phillips hands her a microphone. Selena takes it and walks back over to the middle of the ring. Her music fades out as the crowd cheers. Selena looks around before straightening the title over her shoulder.

Selena: “And still your World Champion…”

The crowd cheers. Selena smiles.

Selena: “The Unbelievable Main Event has come and gone. Ace Marshall and I fought in the main event of Rise to Greatness and at the end of the night, one kick and Ace didn’t have an answer. And Lexy Chapel won’t be presenting the World Champion….SCW presents Selena Frost as STILL the SCW World Champion.”

The crowd cheers as Selena looks around, enjoying the reaction.

Selena: “Maybe Deanna Frost present her, but well…”

Selena shrugs as Deanna Frost mockingly shows Selena off.

Selena: “Despite all of the words shared, and the blood, sweat and tears, I’m still champion and the target continues to be on my back. And I said it a few months ago, when I won this title, I was looking to get back to one thing…competing in this ring. Being the change I wanted to see. Being the greatest fighting champion…and I have to deal with someone now very familiar at Apocalypse. Cid Turner.”

The crowd gives a mixed reaction.

Selena: “Or is that Asher Hayes?”

The crowd boos loudly.

Selena: “We’re doing this again, the only difference is that you’re not holding this title walking into the match. I am. I am the defending champion and Cid, I know it’s going to take a lot to beat you again. I know damn well that I had to bring all of the skill and luck I had to beat you at Taking Hold of the Flame. But I also know that we’re going to see a much more desperate Asher Hayes because unlike before when you held the cards, now…I’m in your way. I hold the cards!”

The crowd cheers.

Selena: “We’re going to be going back to this place where Asher Hayes is going to claim to be champion. We’re not going to be watching the two of you slap everyone in the face with your disrespect. All that we’re going to be witnessing, because I will do everything I can…bring together all of the effort and skill I can muster. Just as I did in round one at Taking Hold of the Flame, just as I did at Rise to Greatness…I will do everything I can to hold onto this title and treat it with respect, treat these fans with respect, and treat the history of this sport with respect. Believe it! Cid…Asher….both of you.”

Selena pauses for a moment.

Selena: “You know, I almost feel bad for Cid. He’ll do anything for Asher Hayes. The problem is that he’s going to have to come to terms with the fact that Apocalypse, the end is night. He will not be walking out with this title!”

Selena points to the World Championship.

Asher: “Oh God! Shut her up!”

The crowd boos as Asher Hayes walks out from the back. Cid Turner walks out with him. Asher has a manilla envelope in his hand as he walks down to the ring. He stops and motions for Cid to follow him. Cid does. Selena turns.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes on his way to the ring.”

Knots: “Oh he’s got papers too. Has he been hanging out with Rudy Powell?”

Sharper: “They’re not drenched, so probably not.”

Lyman: “Look at Asher putting himself front and center though.”

Selena watches as Asher Hayes walks over to the ring. He hops onto the apron. Cid Turner runs over and slides into the ring. He gets up and puts his hand up in front of Selena. Selena just looks at him.

Selena: “Don’t worry, Cid. You can stop protecting him. Not going to hit him…yet.”

Asher: “You’d love to try, but we all know that you’d not stand a chance against me. So let’s calm down a bit. You can go all Highlander about this all, but Cid and I, we’ve proven that to be a load of crap. Because when you’re this good, the same rules don’t apply.”

The crowd boos.

Selena: “Yeah…that’s why you’re not in the title history. Cid is…oh, and I am!”

The crowd roars. Cid goes to respond, but Asher chuckles.

Asher: “Yeah…because people are afraid of what would happen when that belt gets around my sexy waist. That’s a level of greatness never before reached. But that’s fine. I get it. People want to force me into a box. No one does that…but don’t worry. I’ve got the solution right here.”

Asher holds up his envelope.

Asher: “Because right here, I have notarized documents, courtesy of Holly Adams. Bet you didn’t know that. She’s got the punch and everything. And she’s also the witness. Because when Cid Turner kicks your ass, does the world a favour, and wins the World Title back. We’re going to break not only the internet, not only television, but the world. Because Cid Turner’s first title defense will be against ME!”

The crowd boos. Selena looks at Asher.

Selena: “Clever of you to try that when the boss is out.”

Asher: “Won’t matter Selena…just a matter of time before you don’t matter. We do. Because A/C Unit…ride or die. Tag Titles, World Title…I’ve got the best friend in the world. You know…we may be like brothers! I just didn’t need to become someone’s bitch to help him out.”

The crowd boos as Asher looks right at Selena. Selena just glares right at him.

Selena: “I at least always stood by my sister and we celebrated everything together. Cid…really ask yourself if Asher gives a damn about you!”

Cid turns to Asher, before Asher again stops him.

Asher: “Don’t go down this again. Just because you’re jealous you don’t have someone like me looking out for you. Cid and I…we’re bros. And Cid’s going to beat you this time. And soon, we’ll both be World Champion…even in your eyes!”

Asher nudges Cid and then motions to him. The crowd boos as “Smooth Sailing” by Queens of the Stone Age plays. Asher Hayes steps out of the ring. Cid Turner glances at Selena before stepping up and looking at the SCW World Championship. Selena watches him as Deanna does too. He then points at it and then looks at Selena. Cid steps back and exits to the floor. Asher Hayes gets to the top of the stage and turns back before smirking at Selena. Cid Turner walks up the rampway.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes doing all of the talking. Not even letting Cid respond, but Cid making sure to send his own message at the end.”

Lyman: “May be the most confident thing we’ve seen from him. Cid Turner is as good as anyone in that ring. And he knows that. Just Asher tends to overshadow him!”

Asher keeps looking at Selena as Selena shakes her head and Deanna talks to her a bit. Suddenly, Syren runs out from the back and nails Asher from behind with a full force forearm shot to the back of the head. Asher drops to the stage as the crowd cheers. Syren dives onto him, kneeling next to him and hammering away on him with a couple of hard shots as Asher Hayes covers up.

Sharper: “Syren! Syren from behind! Hammering away on Asher Hayes!”

Knots: “Asher forgot about her! And she’s who Asher should be worrying about!”

Cid runs up the rampway and pulls Syren off. Syren rolls over and then gets up as officials run out from the back. Cid holds his hands up and Syren turns and looks at him before turning to Asher.

Syren: “Move, Cid! Move!”

Cid: “No! You’ll kill him!”

Syren tries to step past Cid and Cid stops her and Syren cracks him with a hard forearm. She staggers back before lunging forward, getting a kick in on Asher. Officials then pull her back. The crowd cheers as Selena smirks watching this. A “Syren!” chant breaks out as Syren keeps trying to get at Asher. Asher rolls over as Cid steps up and looks at Syren and then checks on Asher.

Backstage, we see Ace Marshall turning away from the television in his locker room. He shakes his head and points at it.

Ace: “How is Jake Starr getting a title shot? Isn’t the old jackass retired? Didn’t he retire AT Rise to Greatness?”

Ace turns and looks to his side and laughs.

Ace: “Damn right. Gotta be a money grab. And how the hell did Asher Hayes get with him. How many annoying douchebros do you need in one place?”

Lexy: “What’s that?”

We then see Lexy Chapel throwing a blazer over her shoulders and starts to straighten it out.

Ace: “Jake…the asshole is number one contender.”

Lexy: “Isn’t he retired?’

Ace: “I just said that! Good to know we have an echo here. But that you agree.”

Lexy: “Just like Autumn would totally agree with you too because that’s what people in love dooo….plus it’s a conspiracy! Makes perfect sense!”

Ace: “Uh…yeah…totally. Just like she got screwed at Rise to Greatness. Death, destruction and screw Adam Allocco.”

Lexy: “Ew.”

Ace: “Not literally. I mean he probably still has breath that smells like piss. But…where is she?”

Lexy: “Getting ready to defend her title. Gotta go and check on her. Look, I’ll talk to D…or…mini-D…or whoever the hell is in charge and get to the bottom of this. Someone needs to call them out on their conspiracy against us!”

Ace: “Not a big deal. Just people think I don’t care. That’s just lazy from SCW…whatever. Why do I care?”

Lexy: “Because it’s an injustice! A STUPID INJUSTICE! AND A CONSPIRACY”

Ace: “Yeah, sure.”

Lexy: “But maybe that’s a way…we could threaten your retirement! Then they’d give you a rematch. Short circuit the whole thing!”

Ace: “Sure…whatever floats your boat.”

Lexy: “I don’t own a boat. Anyway, gotta go check on Autumn and maybe Katsumi. You make sure to cheer extra loud for her!”

Ace: “Yeah, yeah…I also have a match tonight.”

Lexy: “I know! I set it up!”

Lexy smiles and leans in to kiss Ace before stepping back and clearing her throat awkwardly before Lexy heads off. Ace just shakes his head

Ace: “Didn’t mention Cass…interesting.”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as the crowd roars as Syren is seen backstage with Jessica Winters.

Winters: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Syren…you just attacked Asher Hayes as he was backing up. Obviously, you still plan to go right after him.”

Syren: “Damn right I do!”

Syren turns to the camera.

Syren: “I know D is gone. He’s not here. I don’t know who’s in charge, Sasha, Katya, someone else…Don’t care! But I’m going to make you a clear suggestion. Asher and me at Apocalypse. One on one. I know Asher Hayes is going to run. He already has for months. You don’t try to end my career without paying for it. As for Cid, you should focus on Selena. You’ve got your title shot. Your contract, legit or not…won’t matter when I done with Syren and I can’t believe I’m going to say this…but when Selena gets through you. Cid…stay the hell out of my way. Asher’s back and I’m going to make his life hell!”

The crowd roars as Syren turns and heads off. Jessica watches her leave. Breakdown returns to ringside.

Lich House vs. Abby-Normal

“Sharing is Caring” by the Tinker Toys resounds throughout the arena as the crowd stirs. From the back, Sammy Thomas Davies walks out along with Clamidiya. The two look around, somewhat in awe of their surroundings before starting to make their way down to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, from the Red Light District, they are Sammy Thomas Davies and Clamidiya, the team of Abby-Normal!”

Clamidiya claps a few hands as STD runs over and slides into the ring. He rolls over and pushes himself up to his feet before running over to the ropes. Clamidiya turns and runs up the steel steps and enters the ring. She walks around and the two pose in the middle of the ring.

Knots: “The return we’ve all been waiting for!”

Sharper: “Sammy is a former champion, but I think you’re laying in on thick. People are excited about how they’ll be facing in this debut here in SCW.”

Calming music rises in the arena before being cut off by a harsh drone and pulsing, distorted drum. With the shift in music, the arena goes dark. A lone spotlight cuts through the blackness to reveal Lilith Morgan, in veil and funeral coat, standing at the entrance. Behind her and to the side stands KEZ, face painted for battle, wearing a tattered denim jacket over her ring gear. “Blood in the Trees” by Ophrys plays. Lilith produces and lights a large white candle, holding its flame near her chest as the two make their way down the ramp to the ring. Lilith calmly strides down, making sure to keep the candle lit, as KEZ walks behind her and to the side, looking ready for violence.

Phillips: “Their opponents, from Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, they are Lilith Morgan and Kez…they are lich house!”

As the two approach the ring, KEZ rolls in under the bottom rope and gets to her feet in the middle of the ring as Lilith climbs the steps, extinguishing the candle with her thumb and forefinger before entering the ring herself. Lilith discards her coat, veil, and candle in the corner along with KEZ's jacket as they ready for the match.

Sharper: “The new team in SCW of lich house. Talk about an entrance.”

Knots: “Sammy Thomas Davies and Clamidiya may want to reconsider their return day!”

Lyman: “Appearance is one thing. But what will they do in the ring? That’s what I’m interested in!”

The crowd buzzes as the bell sounds. Lilith starts off as Clamidiya does for her team. They circle the ring and then lock up in the middle of the ring. Lilith moves her hands around and then drills Clamidiya with a European uppercut. Clamidiya rolls over and gets up and Lilith steps up and grabs the arm and twists it. She starts to pull Clamidiya down to the mat. Clamidiya yells out as Lilith starts to manipulate the arm and starts to pull it back. Clamidiya starts to move to the ropes, managing to shift her legs and over to the ropes and hooks them.

Sammy kicks out. Lilith grabs his arm and starts to pull, but Sammy leg trips her. Lilith rolls over and Sammy gets up and Lilith turns and Sammy just nails her with a hard right to the ropes and then a scoop slam. He rubs his chest as Lilith calmly rolls to the corner and tags in KEZ.

Sharper: “Sammy just fighting out, but Lilith Morgan quickly getting to the corner and now in comes KEZ and a new challenge.”

Lyman: “Lilith looked good and Abby-Normal looking overwhelmed!”

KEZ enters and Sammy runs over and clubs her in the back and then again before knees her in the ribs. He whips her into the corner. Sammy runs after and KEZ moves out of the way. Sammy turns in the corner as KEZ then nails him with a hard right to the ribs then one to the jaw and then another to the ribs before backing up and nailing him with a clothesline. Sammy falls to the mat. He rolls over as KEZ goes over to him and stomps him in the ribs. He stomps him again, but this time, Sammy catches her and shoves her back. KEZ staggers back. Sammy turns and gets up and KEZ gets up and runs at Sammy, but Sammy falls back to the Abby-Normal corner and gets his boots up. Sammy then tags in Clamidiya. She enters and Sammy and Clamidiya hit a double clothesline. Sammy exits the ring. Clamidiya goes for the pin.

KEZ kicks out. Clamidiya rolls over. She starts to get up and KEZ stirs. She grabs KEZ, but KEZ rears up and nails Clamidiya with an uppercut. She falls back to the corner.

Sharper: “Abby-Normal fighting for their lives, but KEZ and Lilith, they’re just a step ahead!”

Knots: “And KEZ has something in mind!”

KEZ walks over as Clamidiya crawls to the ropes. KEZ grabs her arms and lifts her up before driving her down into the bottom turnbuckle with the Furnace Room Lullaby. The crowd ohs. Sammy enters and runs at KEZ who turns and kicks him in the ribs. She turns and tags in Lilith when enters, running over and stepping up onto Sammy’s knee and hitting the Spring-Heeled Kick. The crowd ohs as Sammy rolls out of the ring. Lilith and KEZ then grab Clamidiya. Lilith exits to the apron as KEZ then hoists Clamidiya up in a back suplex position. Lilith gets to the top rope and dives off, lich house connecting with the Sin Eater. KEZ turns as Lilith goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Sin Eater!”

Lyman: “The impact! Clamidiya driven into the mat head and neck first!”

Sharper: “Lilith with the cover!”

3!

The crowd roars a bit as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Lilith Morgan and KEZ, lich house!”

Lilith gets up as KEZ does as well. Lilith pulls her arm away from the official. The team of lich house remain in the ring, scanning the results of their destruction before turning and exiting the ring. They head to the back.

Sharper: “Impressive debut.”

Knots: “Violent. I think Abby-Normal only got five moves in and lich house smothered them.”

Lyman: “And what impressed me was how – brawling, grappling, technical wrestling. The tag division just got more interesting!”

Sharper: “Now let’s go backstage where Jaina Lancaster is with our head agent, Dean Black.”

Backstage, Jaina Lancaster stands next to Dean Black in one of the hallways.

Jaina: “Thank you Adam. I am here with Dean Black and Dean, I wanted to speak with you as well, all of us backstage have noticed, Mr. D’s not here. And obviously some fans are concerned about his situation, but also what the status is of Giovanni Aries. Can you give us any information here?”

Black nods.

Black: “I can give you a bit, Jaina. After Rise to Greatness, all I can say is that D is injured. He was trying to move his arms with some difficulty. Beyond that, we don’t know as we have been told very little. This doesn’t surprise me. D himself wanted us to just move on with the show. I think he always thought this was a possibility. Adam and Jon are pros and they did just that. But I don’t expect to see him around any time soon.”

Jaina: “Should we expect Sasha or Katya…his daughters to take more of a role. Do you have any information there?”

Black: “Nothing I can say firmly. Right now, I’ve been told to maintain things. The Board is essentially booking our cards and I’m the man on the spot. But as I’ve told them, I’m in charge of security and keeping things under control. Nothing more. Anything more I say is speculation.”

Jaina: “And Giovanni?”

Black: “All I know the son of a bitch at least has a ninety day suspension for those two piledrivers. Thirty for the first, another sixty for the second. And as far as I’m concerned, I hope he’s never back.”

Jaina: “Thank you for your time.”

Black nods and heads off. Jaina turns to the camera.

Jaina: “Some answers. But still some uncertainty. Maybe some new faces to guide us forward. We’ll see. But we hope for the best with regards to Mr. D’s recover. Breakdown returns after this.”

The cameras cut to a panning shot of the crowd as the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Cid Turner talking to Asher Hayes backstage.

Asher: “Aren’t you ready…Become World Champion and then we can give the world the classic it needs where, no offense, bro, but I’m going to finally win the World Title.”

Cid: “Yeah, about that….you know I’m the one facing her.”

Asher: “Oh yeah. Don’t worry. Just helping you get under her skin. I mean she just lies to your face. I got your back. I’ll always have your back.”

Cid: “Well yeah…just…I’m going to need yours.”

Cid’s wheels start turning.

Cid: “I have an idea. I just need your help, okay. Just…it’s something you’re better at. Girls…Women…you know.”

Asher: “Oh man. There, I’m a legend. You know what. I won’t need to do much to teach you. After the show, we’ll go out and score. A pre-you getting my…your title back night. Okay?”

Cid: “Well I-“

Asher: “We got it man. But we’re not done tonight. Got some plans. You know! All to help you out! Give you more confidence there!”

Cid: “Oh…uh…great. I already have something in mind but, more the girls-“

Asher: “Got it, bro. You’re in good hands!”

Asher pats him on the back and they head off.

“Real American” by Rick Derringer starts playing and the fans get to their feet. A mix of cheers and boos quickly becomes mostly loud cheers as Ricky James emerges from behind the curtain onto the stage, alone. Ricky is carrying a small black bag with him as he slowly makes his way down the ramp, looking around at the crowd with a huge smile on his face.

Sharper: “Ricky James, fresh off his return at Rise to Greatness, getting another warm welcome from the crowd!”

Knots: “The people were sick and tired of empty promises from Rudy Powell and Lucy Huckabee Sanders.  They wanted to see Ricky, and they got him!”

Lyman: “And with a new attitude!”

Ricky makes his way to the ring and quickly climbs up the stairs with a pep in his step. He stops on the ring apron and looks around at the crowd again, taking in the cheers and flashing another grin. Ricky enters the ring and is handed a microphone. As the music fades out, a “RI-CKY! RI-CKY! RI-CKY!” chant breaks out. Ricky laughs and waits for the chant to die down before beginning.

Ricky: “Boy, it’s great to be back! And what better place to make my return to Breakdown than our nation’s capital, Washington D.C. baby!

The crowd cheers.

Knots: “Ricky James playing to the crowd now? Who is this guy?”

Sharper: “Apparently a new Ricky.”

Ricky: “Before I take you all back a few months, I wanted to start off by congratulating Holly Adams on her Adrenaline Championship victory at Rise to Greatness…”

The crowd boos loudly at the mention of Holly. Ricky smiles.

Ricky: “I know, I know. I’m not her biggest fan either. But as recently as a few months ago, I would have been. I was a very different man at Retribution. I had a different outlook on life all together. I had a lot of hate in my heart. I was angry all the time. But that anger was misplaced….”

Ricky pauses and begins to open the black bag.

Ricky: “I was ashamed of my past. I was ashamed of who I used to be. But there was no reason to be ashamed. People are not born with hate. They have to be taught to hate. And upon entering this country, I was taught to hate a lot of things. I was taught to deflect blame towards others. Unfortunately, I was also taught to repress my past - a past that included something I was taught to hate.”

Ricky again pauses and pulls out a mask from the bag, the same mask he brought with him to the TLC match at Rise to Greatness, the same mask he wore in Mexico City on Breakdown.

Ricky: “I moved to the United States because it is the land of opportunity. It truly is. I still believe it is the greatest country in the world. But in order to “blend in” with Americans, I was told to deny my heritage. I was told I should not reference the fact that I am actually a Mexican-American. I was told that my career in Mexico as El Cohete Rojo was holding me back. And this right here…

Ricky holds up the mask, drawing some cheers.

Ricky: “This mask is a symbol of what I was taught to hate. It is symbolic of my entire life before America and SCW. You have all seen me struggle with masks since I debuted here. That struggle, I have found, was really my internal struggle to hide who I really was. For months I thought I hated who I used to be. But after taking some time away from SCW, moving back to Mexico; I realized I was wrong. I didn’t hate who I used to be. I hated the man I became. My struggles were not with my past, but rather with trying to keep up this facade that I am this “proud American”, born and raised, despite my obvious accent.”

Sharper: “Wow, Ricky now admitting what many of us have been speculating for quite some time!”

Lyman: “What does Lucy or Rudy or all of the others that were around him think of this?”

Ricky: “Not everything I said was a lie. America is still great. But what makes this country so great is the fact that it was built by immigrants. Immigrants like me, and many of you out in that crowd tonight. And I still am proud. I am a proud MEXICAN-American. You all know me as Ricky James, pero mi nombre es Ricardo Jiménez. Estoy orgullosa…

Ricky stops as the crowd suddenly draws its attention to the ramp, where Rudy Powell emerges from the curtain in his golf cart. The crowd boos loudly.

Sharper: “What the hell is this?”

Knots: “Attorney Rudy Powell! I don’t think he likes what Ricky has been saying out here.”

Lyman: “Still doesn’t know how to drive!”

Rudy quickly accelerates down the ramp and begins to lose control of the cart, crashing into the steel steps at ringside, which sends him flying out of the cart. The crowd laughs at Rudy’s misfortune. Ricky stares at Rudy and shakes his head. Powell slowly makes his way to his feet, pulling out his handkerchief and wiping his forehead. He stumbles up the stairs, still not fully aligned with the ringpost after his crash. Rudy falls into the ring between the bottom and middle ropes but somehow rolls out of the fall and jumps up to face Ricky. A pool of sweat begins to form on the mat as Rudy angrily looks at Ricky.

Rudy: “What the hell are you doing?!”

Ricky: “I could ask you the same question.”

Rudy’s face turns bright red. He attempts to put his hand over the microphone, but Ricky pulls it away. The mic is able to still pick up Rudy’s scream:

Rudy: “You’re not Mexican you idiot! These morons in the crowd brainwashed you!”

The crowd boos Rudy as Ricky just looks at him in amusement. The crowd can no longer hear Rudy, but the camera in the ring picks up the audio.

Rudy: “This is why you lost, Ric! You’ve gotta stop listening to these fools!”

Ricky just smiles, which further infuriates Rudy. Rudy attempts to grab the microphone from Ricky, but his slippery hands cause him to drop the mic down to the mat. Rudy bends down to pick the microphone up and suddenly Ricky puts the mask over Rudy’s head. The mask only goes part of the way down, covering Rudy’s eyes. Rudy starts running around frantically as the crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “Ricky has blinded Rudy Powell! The crowd loves it!”

Knots: “Does it shrink when it gets wet?!”

As Rudy tries to remove the mask, he spins to again face Ricky, who smiles before kicking Rudy in the stomach. He then locks him in a headlock and starts bringing Rudy towards one of the turnbuckles. The crowd roars as Ricky gets Rudy in position for the Art of the Deal.

Sharper: “Ricky looking to plant Rudy! I bet he’s wanted to do this for a long time!”

Knots: “Don’t do it, Ric! Rudy will sue you for all you’re worth! He’s that petty!”

Lyman: “Sometimes those things are worth it!”

Rudy tries to squirm away but Ricky keeps a firm grip. He then drops him. The crowd erupts in cheers. Ricky rolls over and looks down at him. He then fumes as he poses over him. The crowd cheers for him as the crowd starts to make more noise before we see Gavin Taylor sliding into the ring. Ricky turns and Gavin runs at him and nails him with the Gavin Taylor Lariat. Ricky hits the mat and rolls over, holding his head and neck. Gavin then turns back to him.

Gavin: “No! You’re not off the hook for everything you did! Not off the hook at all!”

Gavin then stomps him in the head once and then again as the crowd boos a bit. Gavin then turns back and turns to Rudy.

Gavin: “And screw you too you fat toad!”

Sharper: “You hear that?’

Lyman: “Clearly he’s not fully sold by Ricky’s change of heart. Or his own personal reality check!”

Sharper: “Or more wants some more accountability. Ricky targeted Gavin as one of the first target of him and the Silent Majority’s slander last year!”

Knots: “At least he got a good shot on that slug too!”

Gavin looks at Rudy and stomps him again before turning to Ricky as Ricky rolls over in pain and looks at him. Gavin then backs up and points at him before turning and dropping to the floor. The crowd gives a bit of a mixed reaction in response.

“The Old Me” by Memphis May Fire plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A still of Purity Pixie vs. Autumn Valentine follows.

Sharper: “Next, the SCW Television Championship will be on the line. Autumn Valentine defends against Purity Pixie!”

Knots: “Is Pixie in one piece after being attacked at Rise to Greatness?”

Lyman: “Lexy Chapel will present it either way!”

The scene then cuts to show Ace Marshall stepping out of his locker room, fastening his belt, shirtless otherwise. He ruffles his hair, which is a mess, before turning and glancing back.

Ace: “Lexy bringing you back was worth it. Even if you didn’t kill Shilo.”

Ace closes the door and looks around before heading off. The crowd looks on.

Sharper: “Wait a minute…is he talking about Cassidy? Cassidy and Ace…you don’t think?”

Knots: “Poor Autumn!”

The scene fades to black.

Purity Pixie vs. Autumn Valentine

SCW Television Championship

Fairy dust can be seen on the SCW titantron. It keeps fluttering until the sound of ocean waves crashing can be heard, which leads into the opening of “How Far I'll Go” by Auli'i Cravalho.

The music plays for a few moments and as soon as Auli'i's voice is heard a beautiful lady dressed in all silver, including a shimmering silver mask and fairy wings, steps out from the backstage area. She waves the wand that she holds in her hand and is very politely smiling out at the crowd. She walks a little and stops at the end of the stage, pulling out a small container. She opens it up and pours what looks like pixie dust into her left hand. She blows some of it towards the left side crowd and then repeats the action on the right side, before blowing a kiss towards each side as well. As her music plays she makes her way down the aisle.

Phillips: “The following contest is for the SCW Television Championship. Introducing first, the challenger, she is…Purity! Pixie!”

A woman’s voice can be heard shouting three letters as the video screens display them in sync.

“Miss Nothing” by The Pretty Reckless hits the PA system as Autumn Valentine walks out onto the stage wearing a black jacket, the SCW TV title draped over her shoulder. Across her ring-gear are indeed the letters AVW. She pauses on the stage for a moment before being joined by Lexy Chapel. Lexy watches on as Autumn throws a free hand up into the air and screams ‘A-V-W’ at the top of her lungs while making the letters with the same hand.

Phillips: “Introducing, hailing from Los Angeles, California, she wants you to know she still giving Zero Effs, and she is the SCW Television Champion…this is AVW, AUTUMN VALENTINE!”

Autumn walks to the ring accompanied by Lexy. She skips up to the apron and jumps up before sliding off her jacket and letting it fall to the floor. She then runs at the turnbuckles, climbing up and once again throwing up the “A-V-W” symbols with her hands while looking into the camera confidently. She jumps from the outside of the ropes to inside of the ring, rolling back to her feet before walking to the ropes and dropping down into the splits and leaning through the ropes to hand her title to Lexy, who seems to hold it proudly. She pushes herself back under the ropes and gets back to her feet.

Lyman: “Autumn Valentine coming off a not so good night at Rise to Greatness, ready to change her fortune here tonight.”

Sharper: “Right you are. No client of Lexy Chapel, earned a victory on the biggest stage in the history of SCW.”

Knots: “Being in highly touted matches should count for something, at least. Right?”

The ref calls for the bell. Pixie charges at Autumn, and begins connecting with forearms, backing Autumn into the ropes. Pixie whips her across the ropes. Pixie then catches Autumn with an arm drag. Autumn hits the mat then charges at Pixie, who takes Autumn down with another arm drag. Holding Autumn’s arms, Pixie drives her knees into the Autumn’s upper back.

Pixie goes for a cover.

Autumn kicks out. Pixie lifts Autumn and goes to whip her across the ring, but Autumn hits a European uppercut, then a kick to the midsection. Autumn hooks Pixie and takes her down with a snap suplex, going for a cover of her own.

Pixie kicks out.

Sharper: “Both fighting for dominance, while going for early covers.”

Lyman: “Neither competitor getting more than a 1 count. They’re showing the other that it’s going to take a lot more.”

Knots: “We spoke of Lexy Chapel’s cohorts, but we can’t forget what occurred with Pixie. She got attacked by some man, and not to mention the confrontation with Katie Steward.”

Lexy is shown watching outside, clutching the TV title.

Lyman: “You have to wonder if Lexy will get involved. She’s probably thinking her group can’t handle another loss.”

Autumn grabs Pixie up from the mat, and delivers a knife edge chop. Pixie staggers back, only for Autumn to grab hold of her wrist, pulling Pixie into a short-arm clothesline. Pixie rolls over and goes to push herself up, only for Autumn to charge, kicking her into the abdomen. The crowd boos as Pixie is shown writhing in pain.

Autumn grabs her and lifts Pixie to her feet. Autumn goes to whip Pixie into the ropes, but Pixie reverses, pulling Autumn into a short-arm clothesline of her own. Pixie maintains her grip on Autumn’s wrist, before pulling her close and hooking Autumn, before planting her with the Drive-By Facebuster. Pixie then goes for another cover.

Autumn shoots the shoulder up before rolling back into the ropes. Autumn slowly pulls herself up as Pixie charges. Autumn dunks down before lifting Pixie up and over the ropes. Pixie crashes to the floor, while Autumn drops to the mat. The ref looks at Pixie who is slowly stirring before checking on Autumn.

Knots: “The champion is probably seriously hurt. Probably, like I said.”

Lexy is shown moving toward Pixie, title in her hands, kneeling out of the ref’s view. Pixie gets to her feet and turns, just as Lexy lunges forward, hitting Pixie with the TV Championship. Autumn is shown using the ropes to pull herself, before cameras show Pixie being rolled inside the ring by Lexy, who grabs the title and returns to the opposite side of the ring. Autumn charges over and goes for the cover.

3….NO! Pixie shoots the shoulder up!

Sharper: “Pixie still in this thing, despite that shot from Lexy.”

Lyman: “Clearly an act of desperation.”

Pixie is pulled up to her feet and Autumn delivers a knife edge chop. Pixie shakes the cobwebs before delivering her own chop. Autumn hits another, just as Pixie does the same. Autumn goes for another but Pixie blocks it, before taking Autumn down with a twisting neck breaker. Pixie begins to stalk Autumn who is shown pulling herself up using the ropes. Pixie goes to charge, only for Lexy to trip her, while the referee is shown checking on Autumn once again.

Autumn however bypasses the ref and charges and leaps onto the ropes, bouncing off and connecting with a springboard roundhouse kick. Pixie drops to one knee as Autumn leaps off the ropes once again, taking Pixie down with a springboard tornado DDT.

Sharper: “Damn it! Lexy helping turn the tide yet again!”

Knots: “The ref didn’t see it, so did it really happen?”

Pixie is shown slowly pushing herself up, only for Autumn to blast her with a running knee to the back of the head. Pixie slumps to the mat and Autumn goes for the cover.

Lyman: “Autumn connecting with the Blindspot. Is it enough to put Pixie away?”

“Miss Nothing” hits as Lexy rolls into the ring and joins Autumn in her victory. Lexy hands the TV title to Autumn who lifts it up and stares down at a slowly stirring Pixie.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, as a result of a pin fall, and Still! SCW Television Champion…Autumn Valentine!”

Sharper: “Autumn victorious here tonight, but one has to wonder how things would’ve played out how Autumn come to the ring by herself.”

Autumn and Lexy are shown staring down the fallen Pixie, as they know stand outside the ring, before they head to the back, as we fade away.

Backstage, Katie Steward is talking to Martin Howe III. Katie keeps looking past him as TJ Johnson isn’t even looking at either of them and instead behind Howe.

Howe: “I know you’re a smart person and you’ll clearly see the benefit in such an arrangement. I hope you enjoyed the brief test we gave at Rise to Greatness.”

Katie: “Oh it was perfect. Almost perfect timing. Nothing like I could do, but still impressive. Plus, it was great to watch her shrivel like that after insulting me by defeating me like that!”

Howe: “Well it’s good to see that we don’t like those who are judgmental either and well, I couldn’t help but thinking that as someone of means, we could offer some services. Because we understand the importance of impact…however it comes. Consider this just an additional service while I lead my client to the top.”

Howe then reaches into his blazer, revealing a card.

Katie: “TJ!”

TJ reaches out, not looking at Howe and takes the card.

Howe: “Consider it. Least we can do since you opened the opportunity for us.”

Howe turns as the camera pans to show the man who attacked Purity Pixie at the Rise to Greatness preview show behind him. He just giggles a bit as Howe smiles.

Howe: “Don’t worry Tsunami. We’ll take you to the top.”

Howe turns back to Katie and smiles as he walks off, leading Tsunami off. Katie and TJ just watch him leave as the scene fades to black.

COMING SOON TO SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING

Will Westgate vs. Gianni G’Money

The lights in the arena dim to near darkness, as over the PA system comes the opening lines of Kanye West’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”.

La, la, la la

Wait 'til I get my money right

As the beat drops, red lighting effects overtake the arena. Bright white flashes cut in, synchronised with the soulful sample that loops in the beat. An exuberant Will Westgate emerges from the back, with his arms spread wide, imploring the audience to shower him with affection, which they do not. In fact, most of everyone is booing the arrogant self-proclaimed “Trending Topic” but that does nothing to curb his hubris. He signals to the nearest cameraman to come in closer, as he models his outfit and flashes his jewelry before starting down the ramp.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. Introducing first, from Thrilladelphia, he is The Trending Topic, Will Westgate!”

Sharper: “It’s a night of debuts here for the first Breakdown after Rise to Greatness, two of which will be facing off against one another right now! What can you tell us about Will Westgate as he makes his way towards the ring, Simon?”

Lyman: “Beyond his great fashion sense, which he’s very proud of, Westgate’s a great talent. He goes all out in the ring and has remarkable athleticism, as proven by a stunning move in his arsenal that he calls Touch the Sky. In my research, I’ve seen the move, and if we see it again here tonight, he’ll be celebrating a victorious debut in SCW.”

Knots: “Boy, you really put the work in for your first night, didn’t you?”

Westgate continues down the ramp, acting as if the fans are applauding him, as he smiles, waves and bows. After he’s adequately aroused the fans, he walks up the ring steps, coming to the middle of the apron where he stops. Westgate removes his expensive shades and stares straight down the lens of the camera with a deadpan expression, before cracking a charming smile and entering into the ring. Finally, he removes all his entrance attire and jewelry, handing it off to a ringside crew member and making sure to remind them that his clothing is very expensive, so they better not lose it.

Sharper: “Westgate’s very protective of his clothes and jewelry, which makes me wonder why he even brings it out to the ring.”

Knots: “I know this may come as a shock to you, Adam, but some people care about their appearance!”

The lights around the arena begin to fade out as the synthesizer tones of “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd begins to play out. As the drumbeat kicks in, Gianni Money and Candi Honey come out from the back. While C-Honey doesn’t bother with the crowd, G-Money bursts out and begins playing to the crowd, a handheld camera in hand. He keeps the camera trained on himself, narrating his entrance for a future vlog, as he moves down, slapping the hands of fans without their consent.

Phillips: “And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Candi Honey, from Austin, Texas, he is Gianni ‘G’ Money!”

Sharper: “And here comes G-Money.”

Knots: “Who’s only been wrestling for a year, but already has a decent following behind him because of his successful YouTube channel, even going so far as to call this his ‘side-gig.’”

Lyman: “Which I’m sure everyone in the back is just thrilled to hear.”

Knots: “That being said, the kid has a ton of potential and is only in his early 20s, so I’m expecting big things for G-Money here. I for one can’t wait for his reaction video to his own SCW debut. Maybe even a food review in catering. See, Simon? I can research too!”

G-Money gets to the ring and slides under the bottom rope as C-Honey turns the corner and stands at ringside. G-Money hands the camera off to the referee, instructing him to hold it so he can get a few more words in for his vlog.

Sharper: “Good lord.”

Finally, G-Money takes the camera back and holds it up towards himself while standing in the middle of the ring. Westgate makes his way up to him, getting in his face a bit. The referee calls for the bell, getting a cheer from the crowd.

Sharper: “Underway here, but G-Money’s still filming.”

Knots: “He’s vlogging, Adam.”

Westgate looks up at the camera with a blank look on his face as G-Money beams into the camera.

G-Money: “What’s up, fam?! It’s your boy, G…”

A few scattered fans in the near rows and Candi clap once.

G-Money: “Mo-ney!”

The same fans clap twice in rapid succession.

G-Money: “We’re here with ol’ Willy Westgate for my SCW debut! What’s up, Willy? We started at the bottom, now we-”

Westgate nails G-Money with a right hand, leading to a mixed reaction from the roaring crowd. G-Money’s camera falls to the mat and slides away. Candi reaches into the ring and takes it for safekeeping as Westgate shoves G-Money, sending him stumbling into the corner.

Sharper: “G-Money distracted and Westgate is taking advantage right out of the gate!”

Knots: “He was just trying to capture the moment!”

Westgate charges the corner and hops up on G-Money before falling back and throwing him back to the middle of the ring with a monkey flip. G-Money tries to quickly stagger up. Westgate runs up to him and spins for a discus clothesline, but G-Money ducks it and runs through. G-Money hits the ropes and Westgate turns around into an enzuigiri attempt, but he ducks it, sending G-Money to the mat. He quickly pulls G-Money up and hooks his arms from behind before falling forward into a backslide pin!

2!

G-Money rolls out of the pin and back to his feet and manages to quickly catch Westgate with a step-up enzuigiri. The crowd ohs as Westgate falls to the mat. G-Money scrambles over for the cover.

1!

2!

Westgate throws his shoulder up just after the two. G-Money slides off and takes a moment to compose himself on the mat.

Sharper: “G-Money going back to the well and managing to get that enzuigiri off.”

Lyman: “Getting a chance to restart things here with both men down.”

G-Money pulls himself up and sees Westgate get up right after. G-Money runs forward, taking Westgate down with a clothesline. Westgate pops back up, but G-Money takes him down with another clothesline. Westgate quickly gets up again, leading to G-Money going for another clothesline, but Westgate ducks it and runs through, hitting the ropes. G-Money turns around and sees Westgate running at him. G-Money grabs him and spins him, looking for a sidewalk slam, but Westgate maneuvers himself up and around G-Money, hooking his head and planting him with a tornado DDT! The crowd roars. Westgate leaps up and back down on G-Money for the cover.

1!

2!

G-Money kicks out just before three. Westgate looks up at the ref, questioning the count.

Sharper: “A beautiful DDT from Westgate, almost picking up a victory in his debut!”

Lyman: “And that’s the inexperience of G-Money there, going for a third consecutive clothesline, and it ended up costing him. Westgate’s gotta take advantage.”

Westgate gets to his feet and stalks G-Money as he stirs. Westgate hits the ropes and runs at a rising G-Money, going for Keyblade, but G-Money manages to fling him off, sending him rolling to the corner. Westgate gets up in the corner, but immediately gets drilled with a stiff running elbow from G-Money. The crowd ohs while Westgate stumbles out of the corner towards the middle of the ring. G-Money walks after him and hooks him from behind before hoisting him up for a high-angle back suplex, but Westgate fluidly slips out and lands on his feet behind G-Money. Westgate goes for a pump kick, but G-Money manages to sidestep it, sending Westgate stumbling ahead. G-Money pushes Westgate into the ropes. Westgate bounces chest-first into the ropes and turns around, right into E.H.T.O.V.O.T.M.! Westgate stumbles back into the ropes from the impact, spilling out onto the floor.

Sharper: “And a big superkick from G-Money, taking Westgate out!”

Lyman: “Gianni calls that Eh-To-Vot’m, which stands for Everyone Has Their Own Version Of This Move, which is true!”

The referee counts as G-Money looks out at Westgate on the floor. (1) G-Money bounces around as Westgate stirs. He runs back and hits the ropes before launching through, taking down Westgate with a suicide dive! The crowd roars. (2) G-Money gets to his feet and poses for the crowd, who gives a mixed reaction. He turns to Candi, who seems to be browsing on her phone.

G-Money: “Did you get that?!”

Candi quickly puts her phone away and claps excitedly. (3) G-Money continues to pose. (4) He picks Westgate up and drags him towards the ring, but Westgate suddenly pushes G-Money right into the steel steps. The crowd ohs as G-Money keels over the steps. (5) Westgate peels him off the steps and drags him along the ring before sending him into the ring post. The crowd ohs again as G-Money hugs the post, going limp.

Sharper: “G-Money boasting a bit too much there and Westgate’s back on top now.”

Knots: “He didn’t even find out if C-Honey caught that suicide dive!”

(6) Westgate grabs G-Money and throws him into the ring, rolling him forward. Westgate climbs up onto the apron and right to the top rope, taking a moment to measure up G-Money, who’s trying to shake the cobwebs off on the mat. The crowd buzzes.

Sharper: “And we might see Westgate going off the top, just like you said, Simon!”

G-Money suddenly pops up and throws himself at the ropes, causing Westgate to fall down, catching himself on the second rope. G-Money groggily reaches for him and nails him with a forearm, sending Westgate into a seated position. G-Money climbs up next to him and pushes Westgate’s head down before placing his leg over his neck and dropping him with Tweetie Bird! Both men lay on the mat, G-Money rolling towards the middle of the ring.

Sharper: “A massive move from the top rope and Westgate is in trouble of taking the loss that both he and G-Money are fighting so hard to avoid!”

G-Money pulls himself up using the ropes and grabs Westgate from the mat, harshly yanking him to his feet. He scoops Westgate up in a powerslam position before hooking Westgate’s head and planting him with Demonitizer! The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Demonitizer from G-Money, just spiking Westgate!”

G-Money turns Westgate over and hooks both legs with authority.

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds and the crowd roars a mixed reaction as “Blinding Lights” plays.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, G-Money!”

G-Money pulls himself up and looks around groggily, but excitedly. He happily jumps up and down.

Sharper: “And G-Money gets the win here!”

Lyman: “There could only be one winning debut here, and unfortunately Will Westgate landed on the wrong side of that despite a great performance. A great debut, regardless of the result.”

Knots: “Westgate could have a bright future here, but tonight, he’s just a background character in the life of G-Money! Can’t wait to see how the vlog turns out. Wonder if Candi got a good shot of me?”

G-Money rolls out of the ring and grabs his camera off of C-Honey, walking up to the barricade and holding the camera up to himself with the fans behind him.

G-Money: “First match, first win, baby! Let’s go!”

A fan pushes his way into the front row and flips off the camera. G-Money quickly jolts away and poses with Candi instead, who seems mildly interested at least. Inside the ring, Westgate recovers as the referee checks on him. He looks out to see G-Money and C-Honey posing in victory. Westgate shakes his head as his opponent continues to celebrate.

The camera cuts to a panning shot of the crowd.

Sharper: “Big win for G-Money. And when we return, Bree Lancaster joins us. All this and much more to come here on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, the camera starts to film in front of the locker room of Holly Adams which has several pictures of Holly physically holding different SCW titles before showing her celebrating with the SCW Adrenaline Championship on top of the ladder at Rise to Greatness. Sound then comes in and we can clearly hear Ace Marshall talking inside.

Ace: “How the hell am I angry I’m not World Champ. Now Jake has a shot. I know you hang out with him. Like why? What is wrong with you? You’ve been just….You’re champion and well, maybe…look…”

Ace’s voice fades out a bit as he’s presumably walking around inside. We can hear him talking a bit more. Holly’s voice, if she responds, can’t be heard through the door. A few moments pass before we cut to the ring.

Sharper: “Ace Marshall now talking to Holly Adams!”

Knots: “Maybe looking to make a jump! LexyCorp could be crumbling!”

Sharper: “Or is he just going to familiar faces. Him and Holly used to be an item…I don’t know. A couple of months ago, Ace was paid to help Shilo against Holly.”

Lyman: “A Lexy deal there. But guess money isn’t everything? Ace is getting around though!”

The lights dim as a voice backed by piano music fill the arena.

{That's the price you pay.... Leave behind your heartache, cast away
Just another product of today.... Rather be the hunter than the prey
And you're standing on the edge, face up... 'cause you're a NATURAL}

As the heavy music of Imagine Dragons kicks in the lights come back up and Bree Lancaster is standing on the stage, her arms spread wide and a smile on her face. She looks to the side towards the curtain, and instead of being joined by Scott Burnside, Dominic Teller steps out. The crowd cheers for the couple as he goes to her side and they join hands.

Phillips: “Making her way to the ring and being accompanied by her husband Dominic Teller... please welcome Bree Lancaster!”

The crowd cheers more as Bree and Dom walk down the ramp. Bree's wearing a baby blue wrap dress with white flats, Dom in black slacks and boots, a gray dress shirt, the sleeves rolled up to a three-quarter length, the top button undone and no tie. They greet a few fans along the way, then go up the ring steps, Phillips handing Bree his mic as she steps up. Dom holds the ropes open for Bree to step through, then he enters after her.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster not scheduled to compete tonight, yet I'm told she has something important to talk about. Even brought her new husband with her for the occasion.”

Knots: “Of course she does, they're gonna talk about Dom Teller's new movie... also starring Kennie!”

Lyman: “Have you started to rummage through the catering on set yet, Jon?”

Bree and Dom stand in the center of the ring, arms around each other's backs as the crowd continues to cheer. The couple speak for a moment before Bree brings the mic up, smiling

Bree: “Good evening everyone, and thank you for the warm welcome to Breemerica!”

The crowd roars, with some laughter, and a random boo or three.

Bree: “Sorry, we're in our nation's capitol, I couldn't help myself from saying that one more time.”

More laughter from the crowd, and Bree grins.

Bree: “But seriously, thank you. I know it wasn't that long ago when the sight of me walking out here would draw a much different reaction, and it means the world to me that most of you accept that I recognized I needed to make a change. I needed to do better. Be better. There are a lot of incidents and people to thank for that, one of the most important ones is standing next to me.”

Bree turns to Dom and smiles at him. He smiles back, seemingly ignoring the thousands of people in the stands.

Bree: “You were always the one who told me I was better than everyone thought I was, than I even thought I was. I'm sorry it took a few terrible events to open my eyes, but the important part is I see it now, and I hope I can live up to the way you see me.”

Sharper: “That's sweet.”

Knots: “I hope that wasn't the main thing she wanted to talk about.”

Bree looks out at the crowd once more.

Bree: “And that's why I had to bring Dom here with me tonight. Not only does he have a new movie to promote....”

The crowd cheers, and Dom nods smiling out at them.

Bree: “But I have a few other things to say that I really feel he should be here for. Before I do that though, baby... tell them about the movie!”

Bree hands Dom the mic. The crowd roars as he takes it and looks around again.

Dom: “Put me on the spot, why don't you?”

He chuckles, and mild laughter comes from the crowd.

Dom: “I'm kidding, we planned this. Anyway, the film is a sequel to last year's Deep Cover. So far we're referring to it as Deep Cover Two, which is terribly uncreative, but the masterminds behind the film are sorting through a few official title ideas, and as soon as I know, you'll know. As you may have heard, my co-star is once again the flawless Kennedy Street.”

The crowd cheers, and Bree smiles.

Dom: “We've been filming for about two weeks now, and she is just as professional and a pleasure to work with as last year. I'm not really allowed to tell you much more about the film, other than we're both playing the same characters, so unfortunately you'll have to wait for any kind of plot details. But you'll love it! You trust me, right?”

More laughter and some cheers from the crowd. Dom hands the mic back to Bree.

Bree: “Of course they do. Okay, so... the first thing I want to talk about... is also Kennedy Street. Rise to Greatness was a month ago, and as you all know by know... Kennedy walked out the winner of our triple threat with Ravyn Taylor. All of us fought hard, two-thirds of us fought clean...”

The crowd boos at Bree's reference to Ravyn's attempts at cheating.

Bree: “But Kennedy and I did our best to fight off all the tricks, the interference. And in the end, it came down to who had the upper hand, who had momentum in their favor. It wasn't Ravyn and it wasn't me. Kennedy had that moment and took advantage of it. I've said it in private but it's time I say it publicly too. Kennie... congratulations. As much as I wanted to be the one with my arm raised at the end, I can't say that I really lost. We both fought hard, we even worked together a few times... that Touch of Lighting was a highlight. You earned the victory, and as I said before the match, the most important thing... is that we didn't let Ravyn Taylor win.”

The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Class act by Bree Lancaster right there. A far cry from the way she used to react to not winning.”

Knots: “Class act? Pun intended?”

Sharper: “Actually... it was.”

Bree looks around as the cheers die down.

Bree: “With Rise to Greatness behind us, I have to say that I enjoyed the time off. Dom and I went on a honeymoon, we visited Paris and Iceland.”

More cheers.

Bree: “Then we went home to New Orleans long enough to pack enough clothes and things to last six weeks in Santa Monica, while he's filming. I started training, I knew I had to get back into a routine to be ready to get back in the ring. This year hasn't been the best for me, I can admit that. Either professionally or personally. Starting off the year as World Champion and getting married aside... everything else has been one nightmare after another. Being injured. Photos leaked. I was attacked, assaulted. I couldn't win the World Championship back. I tried. I wanted to do it for all of you... because of the horrible way it was being represented. I guess it just wasn't my job, even though I felt it was. It's Selena's job for now. And after losing my rematch to Cid Turner and didn't win the Flame, I knew it was my time to step back. Reevaluate. I've been going so hard for so long at a high level though that I found it hard operate otherwise. I had to focus on something.”

She pauses.

Bree: “I chose to set my sights on doing what I could to make SCW better. While others were battling over titles, I could fight a different battle. With Rise to Greatness behind us, I was looking forward to getting back in this ring, finding those ways to make a difference, prove myself, prove to all of you that the support you've shown me, the belief you've had in me since I realized I wasn't being my best self, wasn't for nothing. There was nothing more I wanted than to come back here, in great shape, and put the first half of the year in the dust. Make the second half better, make the rest of twenty-twenty-one MINE. Maybe even get myself back into contention and become World Champion for a third time.”

Applause. Bree sighs, and glances at Dom briefly before looking around at the crowd.

Bree: “This is the other thing I came out here to talk to you about... Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to do that.”

The crowd murmurs, with a few sad boos intermixed.

Sharper: “What? Is Bree injured again?”

Knots: “She and Ravyn did knock heads rather hard and Bree has a history of concussions.”

Bree: “Right after getting back from our trip, I was extremely tired. That usually happens with jet lag, when you cross a lot of timezones. It usually fades in a few days, but a week later, it hadn't gone away. Dom and I went to Santa Monica... and I wasn't feeling any better. I also had trouble eating certain foods, I couldn't stomach even a glass of wine, which we have with dinner sometimes. I wondered if maybe I picked up some kind of... virus, or something, while we traveled overseas. So... I went to a doctor.”

Bree pauses, and she and Dom exchange another look. He gives her a nod, and they both grin. Bree turns back to the crowd.

Bree: “Turns out, I didn't. I'm not sick.... I'm pregnant.”

The crowd roars, then cheers. Bree and Dom smile at the reaction.

Sharper: “Wow! Can't say I was expecting that!”

Knots: “Just what the world needs, another Bree!”

Lyman: “I'm willing to bet you knew about this, Jon! Dominic working with Kennedy, Bree and Kennedy on good terms.”

Knots: “Maybe I did, maybe I didn't.... Okay fine, I did. Bree told Kennie a week ago.”

Bree: “So, obviously... I can't be in this ring and do what I wanted to do with the rest of the year. I won't be able to do what I love, what I've been doing non-stop since I debuted in twenty-fourteen, what's in my blood.... for at least a year. But... I'm okay with that.”

Bree and Dom exchange a smile again, and Bree rests her free hand over her stomach.

Bree: “It's just a reminder than even though things in life may not always go according to your plans, sometimes the unexpected is even better. It truly is my time to step back, focus on my family, plan playdates with Sienna a year in advance.”

Bree smiles. A few laughs and cheers come from the crowd.

Bree: “But most importantly, take care of myself and this nugget, and prepare myself to be the best mom I can be. I know you all know I am a woman of truth, and of my word, right?”

The question is answered by cheers.

Bree: “Then you know that I don't make promises lightly. I would never promise something I know I couldn't keep. I want everyone here tonight and everyone watching at home to really understand how important to me keeping my word is when I say this... as soon as I can after this baby is introduced to the world, I PROMISE.... I will be back.”

The crowd roars. Bree turns to Dom, and they talk a moment before he leans in and gives her a kiss, resting his hand over hers on her stomach. This draws more cheers.

Sharper: “They seem over the moon with the news, and quite frankly so am I. Congratulations to Bree Lancaster and Dominic Teller.”

Knots: “Congrats indeed. I just hope this doesn't give Kennie any ideas.”

Shaper: “So do I...”

Knots: “Hey!”

Bree and Dom start to leave the ring, he holds the ropes open for her again and she steps through. Dom follows, and Bree gives the mic back to Phillips. “Natural” plays again as Bree and Dom greet fans in the front row, we see them being congratulated by fans and speaking with them as Breakdown goes to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Bree Lancaster and Dom Teller backstage. Bree is talking to a few crew members before they stop and Bree turns. Dom turns too as Minerva walks over with Drake Hemingway. The crowd boos seeing her.

Minerva: “How wonderful.”

Dom: “Get the hell away from her.”

Bree: “Dom…”

Drake steps up to get in Dom’s face. Minerva steps up too.

Minerva: “So you’re going to have your own spawn…I wonder if it will know the truth.”

Minerva reaches out to touch Bree’s stomach, but Bree steps back. Dom steps in front of her. Minerva smirks.

Bree: “Come on Dom. Let’s just go.”

Minerva continues to smirk as Dom turns, grabbing Bree by the hand and they walk off.

Glory Braddock vs. Xander Valentine

The feedback over the PA system, as if a jack is plugged into an amplifier rips through the arena. While the noise attracts the attention of the crowd, spotlights, one after another shine down onto the stage. "Soul on Fire" by The Last Internationale crackles on the sound system as smoke begins to hover on the stage. A shadow stands behind an illuminated curtain, by this point the crowd already caught up in a frenzy.

As the final line of lyrics play and the song revs up, Xander bursts out behind the curtain onto the stage. He marches out onto the stage to the top of the ramp. The crowd cheers. Behind him emerges a woman, wearing a coat with fur lining. As she stops and positions herself behind Xander. As if she doesn't exist, he stares down at the ring, regardless if occupied or vacant. A serious glare is painted across his weathered face. He starts marching deliberately down the ramp, continuing to stare at the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, accompanied by Artemis, from San Diego, California, he is the SCW Executioner, Xander Valentine!”

The song begins to fade out at this point. Xander is at the bottom of the ring steps. He stomps the bottom step several times before moving pass the steps towards the side of the ring. In a single bound, Xander leaps up onto the apron. He poses for a moment, stretching his shoulders as he continues to look into the ring. He raises his arm high into his air, as to promise victory. He garners another response from the crowd. Meanwhile Artemis has left his side, instead moving towards the timekeeper to take the position of a watcher. She stands there as if no one else exists but Xander and his opponent. Xander looks over at Artemis for a moment, for the first time acknowledging her existence before leaping over the top rope. He steps over to the corner and prepares for the battle ahead.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine hoped to be standing here as the interim US champion. That is not the case. Instead, from the very beginning, it took all three of his opponents to take him down.”

Lyman: “I’m still surprised. He got up. He looked at everyone and he left. He could’ve caused chaos.”

Sharper: “He’s been a changed man for months. The question now is what is he thinking should James Evans be cleared to compete again.”

The first chords of "When Legends Rise" begins to play over the PA system...

Phillips: “His opponent, from London, England, she is The British Bombshell, Glory Braddock!”

Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.

The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring.  Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly...

Sharper: “Glory Braddock was one of those three against Xander, but also someone looking to potential be next in line for the US Title.”

Knots: “A win will do that, but Glory better have a plan. She’s not got Gavin and Christy to help keep the big man down!”

The bell sounds. Xander steps up as Glory watches Xander. Glory jukes around as Xander watches her and stands still, almost demanding Glory starts on offense. Glory keeps juking, hoping to draw Xander and Xander then steps forward, just enough as Glory shoots in and spins through and goes for a takedown. She manages to pull Xander’s left leg from under him. Xander falls to his hands and knees. Glory then keeps trying to pull on the leg, going for an achilles lock, but Xander turns and uses his strength to flip her over. Glory rolls over and gets up. Xander gets up and Glory grabs at the legs of Xander again. Xander falls over and Glory tries to lift it up and Xander uses his other foot to try and knock Glory back. She blocks the first shot and then the second before Xander boots her in the chest. Glory rolls over. She gets up as Xander starts to get up and Glory runs over and hits a dropkick. Xander falls to the ropes.

Lyman: “Glory has a plan. Go for the legs and keep him down!”

Sharper: “He’s back up. Gotta get him back down!”

Glory then turns and shoot kicks Xander in the right thigh and then again before Xander shoves her back. Glory rolls through. Xander steps forward and Glory runs at him. He goes for the grab, but Glory slides underneath and then again goes for the leg, going both and getting Xander down by his left leg. Glory then gets up and stomps him in the back of the leg and then again and again. Xander rolls over as Glory kicks him again. Xander rolls to the floor. (1) Glory backs up as Xander walks back and looks at Glory. Glory doesn’t bite, remaining in the middle of the ring. (2) Xander limps a bit and walks around the ring. He then goes to the steps, using them to climb up. (3)

Sharper: “Glory not keeping the pressure on.”

Lyman: “She has control of the ring. That’s more valuable.”

Knots: “So is she going to let him in?”

Lyman: “That’s the question. Integrity says yes. Experience says no!”

Xander steps into the ring. He then gets up and Glory runs over and kicks at the leg of Xander. The crowd roars as Xander staggers forward. Glory kicks him again. Xander staggers and turns and Glory goes for third kick, but Xander squats enough to catches it. He then hoists her up and turns and throws her into the corner. Xander moves in with a back elbow. The crowd ohs. Xander rears back and elbows her again. Glory staggers back and walks around the ring and turns and Xander steps out and clotheslines her down. Xander limps a bit and Glory slowly gets up and Xander walks over and then scoops Glory up and just dumps her down with a slam. Glory winces and holds her back, moving back to the corner. Xander turns and follows up and Glory kicks him in the ribs. He throws a hard right, before attempting a third one, but Xander catches it, pulls it down, hooking her arm and then hitting a big beal out of the corner.

Sharper: “Valentine launching Braddock across the ring!”

Knots: “He may have a couple of bad wheels. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t have that strength”!

Sharper: “But he’s a bit slower now and that could be a difference!”

Glory rolls over and gets up. Xander then grits his teeth and runs across and nails Glory with a running body avalanche. The crowd ohs.

Knots: “Okay, he has some speed!”

Glory falls to the mat. Xander turns and hits an elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

Glory kicks out. Xander slowly gets up as Glory rolls over. Xander grabs her and whips her across the ring. Glory bounces off and Xander launches her in the air. Glory hits the mat. Xander goes for the pin.

Glory kicks out again. Xander slowly gets up as Glory rolls over. She starts to get up and Xander just clubs her in the back. She collapses and falls to the mat before rolling to the apron. Xander follows after and grabs Glory, pulling her up. Glory then suddenly reaches up and hits a guillotine drop. Xander staggers back.

Sharper: “The move that started Xander’s defeat at Rise to Greatness!”

Knots: “But she’s gotta come up with the follow up too!”

Xander shakes it off and Glory springboards to the top rope and dives forward, hitting the Prankster’s Paradise. The crowd roars. Glory turns and goes for the pin.

Xander pushes her off. Glory rolls over. She gets up and Xander turns over. Glory stomps him in the back of the head. Xander rolls over and Glory stomps him in the face and then again. She runs across the ring, bouncing off and then hitting a running dropkick to the side of Xander’s head. He rolls over to the ropes. He starts to pull himself up as Glory runs at the ropes, bounces off and then runs at Xander. Xander gets his boot up, but Glory ducks under and slides to the floor. She then pulls on Xander’s legs. Xander struggles a moment before Glory lifts his left leg up and slams it into the ring apron. Xander yells out. Glory lifts Xander’s leg up again and slamming it on the apron again. Xander crawls forward. Glory grabs at the ropes and climbs up to the apron before climbing to the top rope. Xander rolls over in pain and Glory dives off with the London Plunge!

Sharper: “Glory with a hell of a follow up. Throwing herself at Xander Valentine. London Plunge!”

Lyman: “Roll him over and hook the leg!”

Glory does just that, rolling Xander over and hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Xander pushes her off. The crowd ohs and Glory rolls off. She starts to get up as Xander rolls over. Xander staggers up and Glory goes for the leg, hitting another chopblock. Glory turns and exits to the apron again. She climbs up to the top rope and this time, looks at Xander before diving off with an elbow drop. She connects and then hooks the leg.

Xander kicks out again. Glory rolls off. Xander rolls over and stirs as Glory runs into the ropes. She bounces off and jumps up for the Gloria in Excelsis Dio, but Xander catches her and then just muscles up and powerbombs her. The crowd as Xander falls back to the ropes.

Sharper: “Oh God! Planted her. Just pure strength.”

Lyman: “Even on one leg!”

Knots: “That was all upper strength too. I’d know.”

Sharper: “Uh-huh!”

Glory rolls over, starting to fight up to her feet. Xander steps up and Glory turns and Xander just hoists her up into a bearhug. Glory grimaces in pain as Xander squeezes. Glory reaches around and starts to go for the face. She nails him with a hard right and then another before Xander lifts her up a bit right into a sitout spinebuster.

Glory gets her shoulder up and rolls over. She does and gets to the ropes. Xander gets up. He walks over to Glory and grabs her, hoisting her up, but Glory backflips through. She backs up. Xander does even get to turn as Glory hits a chopblock and Xander falls to the mat. Glory rolls over. She grabs at the ropes and looks around. At this point, we cut backstage as we see Tommy Valentine getting prepared as Drake Hemingway is glancing at the monitor, watching intently.

Sharper: “Glory back to the legs. Xander down!”

Knots: “She’s got an audience. Drake Hemingway…”

Lyman: “Glory did say she would stand with Christy if need be. Wanting that classic. Didn’t have to be a worry at Rise to Greatness.”

Glory then climbs up to the top rope, back facing the ring as Xander rolls over in pain. Glory then hits a moonsault. She connects. She hooks the leg again.

1!

2!

Xander just gets his shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Glory rolls off. She looks around and then gets up. She stomps Xander in the head before going over to the legs of Xander. She sits down and starts to try and grapevine them, going for the Glorify Thy Name. Xander however fights and gets a boot free. Glory steps up to attack him, but Xander grabs her arm and just pulls her forward, causing her to flip through. Both get up and Glory lunges at Xander, only for Xander to catch her by the throat, hoist her up and chokeslam her. The crowd ohs. Xander walks around the ring. Glory rolls over, holding her back in pain. She starts to get up and Xander walks over and grabs her before pulling her back in the Fade to Black!

Sharper: “Xander got it! He’s got it locked!”

Knots: “Glory Braddock is not giving up. Trying to fight!”

Lyman: “It may be too much!”

Xander pulls back as Glory grabs at Xander as she can, but as she tries to fight back, Xander keeps pulling and Glory quickly goes limp from the effectiveness of the hold. The referee checks on her and lifts her arm. It drops and the official calls for the bell. The bell sounds as Xander turns and gently puts her down on the mat. Xander then takes a deep breath and backs up as the referee raises his arm.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via TKO, Xander Valentine!”

Sharper: “Glory unable to defend herself. Passing out from the Fade to Black, a move that has put down every great.”

Knots: “But she took the fight to him. And Xander fought back. What a fight here on Breakdown.”

Sharper: “Even showing some respect again, putting her down gently, after this fight.”

Xander looks around.

Lyman: “He’s made his case, to say the least.”

Xander turns and steps out of the ring as Artemis joins him. The two start to head around the ring and going to the rampway. They head to the back.

Breakdown returns in the talent parking near the loading bay as a Sedan pulls up to the building. We see Nicole Kinneck leaning out the window.

Nicole: “Woooooo!”

The car comes to a stop as Nicole slides back in, giggling.

Nicole: “Again! Again!”

The camera turns to show Brittany Lohan driving.

Brittany: “Ducky…not again. We’re hear on business. Can I talk to Nicole or Pro?”

Nicole: “Why the hell would you want to talk to that weakling?”

Brittany: “Hi Pro.”

Nicole: “So who’s heads are we going to crack open?”

Brittany: “Well I need you to share with me what you remember. We’ve gone over this multiple times and there’s always something new.”

Nicole: “Some jackass attacked me from behind, put some cloth or something over my mouth. I don’t know anything else from that. Just black.”

Brittany: “You saw black or-“

Nicole: “Wore black. Sneak son of a bitch. When I find them, I will rip their throat out with my bare hands!”

Brittany: “I’ll be right there too. But anything else?”

Nicole: “Nicole told you already where she woke up. In a janitor’s closet. Wasn’t even locked. Son of a bitch wanted me to get out when I did. Knew I’d lose it.”

Brittany: “Maybe for effect?”

Nicole unclips the seatbelt and opens the door before stepping out and starting to storm forward. Brittany exits and runs over to stop her.

Brittany: “You’re not going on a warpath without me.”

Nicole: “Then get moving!”

Brittany: “You don’t think Jordan isn’t going to be waiting for you.”

Nicole: “She called me a coward. You told me. You told me that she judged me from the start. She did this so she could look better. I don’t want to wait!”

Brittany: “And I’m responsible for you right now and I have some other things I don’t want you screwing up. We’ll get Jordan. Just you need to stay with me. If you’re not in control Pro…”

Nicole doesn’t say anything. Brittany then motions and the two head into the building.

The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen as we see a still of Chris Cannon walking to the ring before cutting to a still of Minerva standing in the ring.

Sharper: “Fans, at Rise to Greatness, we saw Chris Cannon and Minerva clash in the last person standing match. And it was a bloodbath. A violent contest which both looked to take the other to their limits.

The stills continue showing Chris throwing Minerva over the top rope, before showing Minerva using a cheese grater on Chris, followed by showing Chris Cannon driving Minerva face first into a barbed wire chair. We then see Lucas Knight hitting Konrad Raab with a cricket bat.

Lyman: “Lucas Knight came out to help Chris Cannon as Konrad Raab was involved. And then Jackals.”

Knots: “After they maimed one another!”

Stills of Chris hitting the C4 on Minerva through a barbed wire board come up before showing Tommy Valentine attacking Lucas Knight. Drake Hemingway hits the Mark of the Beast with Kandis’s help on Chris Cannon. Christy Matthews is shown running down before showing her getting hit with a barbed wire chair by Minerva. We then see the still of Drake Hemingway hitting the assisted Mark of the Beast, with Minerva diving onto Chris, slamming him off the apron into the barbed wire board. A still of Minerva celebrating after is shown.

Sharper: “And the Mark of the Beast, the Jackals swarming and defeating Chris Cannon!”

Knots: “And they’re hear to make sure we know it.”

Sharper: “We should add, we have not seen or heard from Chris Cannon since.”

Lyman: “Have heard from Minerva though…”

The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen as we cut to the ring as boos drown everything else out as Drake Hemingway stands in the ring, microphone in his hand. Konrad Raab stands, Minerva holding his leash. She scans around, smiling. Kandis and Tommy Valentine stand in the back, holding their World Tag Team Championship. They all wear their respective Jackals masks.

Drake: “Did you think it was going to end any other way?”

The crowd boos. Drake looks around.

Drake: “You cannot stop what we represent. We take people to their limits and we took Chris Cannon to his.”

The boos continue to resound from all over.

Drake: “Lucas Knight tried to stop me. He may have gotten the win, but few remember who win the battle if they lose the war. Even with your revived partnership with Christy Matthews…she almost risked it all to help you and Chris. Lucky for her she still had enough left. But at what cost.”

Drake glances back at Kandis and Tommy and then Minerva and Konrad.

Drake: “This is now your future too and while you’ve achieved your dream…will it be worth it when you cannot even look at your daughter because of the failure you will have fall upon yourself!”

Drake looks around.

Drake: “Just as Konrad Raab, his failure will be one he will regret…as Minerva has already ensured he will never forget it. But he has not given up and will not until he obtains what he wants. Simply put, the Jackals are not a fad. We are here to take what we have assigned for ourselves. Whether it’s the Tag Team Championship…other glory…or the destruction of certain heroes and philistines who deserve to be brought down.”

Sharper: “Not doubt referring to Chris Cannon, but maybe Bree Lancaster?”

Knots: “Just keep her safe. Keep her away from here. Chris said it…they went after Sienna at one point. We saw the footage with Peyton Rice.”

Drake looks around.

Drake: “Kandis and Tommy will make their presence felt tonight. But I don’t have the only message…Minerva…”

The crowd boos as Minerva smiles and walks over and takes the microphone as the boos get louder. She jerks on Konrad’s leash as Minerva looks out at the crowd.

Minerva: “Superman is dead!”

Minerva smirks as the crowd boos.

Minerva: “To have taken one of the people who claimed to be the top…at the moment they reached it, and to not only shove from the top, but to ruin them complete and all those around him…it’s beautiful. And to have the opportunity to maim you…you wanted this Chris. You wanted to face me in that environment and I not only met your challenge but I made it so you could not get up.”

Minerva looks at the camera.

Minerva: “No one can stop us with our quest. The limits are coming clear and Chris…you are the exclamation point on my introduction to Supreme Championship Wrestling to what I am…and what the Jackals are!”

Suddenly, the opening beats of “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash starts to play. Minerva stops and turns as the crowd buzzes. A few moments pass before John “The Hellbilly” Goddard steps out from the back. He runs his hand across his face, microphone in his other hand. The crowd looks on, some cheering.

Sharper: “That’s John Goddard. Goddard who acted as a bit of a father figure to Peyton Rice a few years back.”

Lyman: “And Minerva’s father!”

Goddard starts to walk down to the ring as the crowd starts to make a bit more noise. Minerva turns to Drake and says something to him as Kandis and Tommy head over, confused. Minerva then steps up.

Minerva: “Father…didn’t expect you here! You should be back home! In Tombstone…”

Goddard reaches the ring. He then grabs the ropes and pulls himself onto the apron. Konrad then lunges forward before Minerva grabs his leash.

Goddard: “You best keep control of him or I’ll put him out to pasture.”

The crowd roars. Minerva pulls back on Konrad’s leash as Goddard then steps into the ring. He steps forward. Minerva looks around before looking at him.

Minerva: “Why are you here?”

Goddard: “You. This introduction as you put it has gone far enough. From stealing vehicles, breaking into homes, assaulting Peyton Rice and pausing if not ending her career…”

Minerva smiles at this point.

Goddard: “All to please someone else.”

Goddard glances at Kandis.

Goddard: “None of this is needed. This violence, this destruction. You need not travel down this road.”

Minerva: “It’s not going to stop. We’re just getting started. Do you not understand that?”

Goddard: “I am not standing here requesting. I am begging you, Minerva. Please…understand that you are going down a path that there is no coming back from and that is not who you need to be. These Jackals are feeding into something else.”

Minerva just laughs, shaking her head.

Goddard: “They are turning you into someone who can never be saved and never be who they should be. “

Minerva just turns to Drake, continuing to chuckle at her. Goddard notices this.

Goddard: “You give me no choice.”

Goddard reaches into his coat. He then pulls out something, opening his hand and revealing a flower. Minerva turns and stops laughing, turning deadly serious.

Minerva: “You can’t be serious…”

Goddard: “I am.”

Minerva: “So you came here to Washington to fight me? That’s it? Is that what you want?!”

The crowd roars as Goddard look at his daughter. He takes a few deep breaths before calmly shaking his head.

Goddard: “No. I will not fight you. I will not spill the blood of my daughter, no matter the circumstances.”

The crowd boos.

Goddard: “But I know who will.”

“Prometheus” by Audiomachine, cutting right past the intro, plays as the crowd erupts in cheers. Minerva looks at the stage as Goddard glances back.

Sharper: “We know who’s music that is!”

Lyman: “And I think we found out where he’s been!”

Chris Cannon steps out from the back, an intense look on his face. He stops on the stage and looks down at the ring as Minerva steps up and points to him, yelling away from the microphone that “You should be gone!” Minerva then turns and looks at Goddard as Cannon continues to just look down at the ring, boring a figurative hole in Minerva. The scene slowly fades to black.

"W Face," By Kumi Koda kicks in full force around the arena as the stage comes into focus. Holly Adams steps up onto the stage, spinning into place at the top of the ramp. Holly poses with her hand on her hip and her other hand high in the air as she pageant-waves to the booing crowd. The SCW Adrenaline Championship is around her waist

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from the City of Angels, California, she is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, Holly Adams!”

Holly starts her walk down to the ring, continuing her pageant wave, with a large smile on her face as the crowd continues to jeer. She stops halfway down the ramp and puts both hands on her chest thanking a fan for their "adoration," for her. She smiles before continuing down the ramp. She walks to the other side of the ramp, pretending to put her hands out to high five and immediately pulls them away and goes back to pageant waving.

As she comes around the corner, she hops up onto the ring apron. Holly starts to sing along with her theme song, looking directly into the camera closest to her. She gives a million-dollar smile before putting her hand on the camera and pushing it away and she gets into the ring. Holly then grabs the top rope, bends down, and then snaps back quickly, flipping her blonde hair over her head, smiling brightly for the cameras. As she takes her place in the ring, she starts her pageant wave once again as her music dies down.

Sharper: “Holly Adams, the new SCW Adrenaline Champion, about to make her first appearance.”

Knots: “We saw her locker room door! She’s over the moon!”

Lyman: “But what was she talking to Ace about?”

An emergency siren begins to go off, as a black and grey TRIGGER WARNING appears on the screen.

"Feed my chaos" begins to play throughout the arena as blue and green strobe lights begin spinning over the arena. The crowd gives mixed reactions, still mostly cheers however as Ace Marshall steps out on stage but not even in his gear, dressed in a pair of jeans and his boots, Lexy Chapel walking up behind him. Standing on stage he throws his arms out boastfully before turning his back to the crowd taking several steps backwards. He then points to Holly as Holly looks at him, before being a bit confused. Lexy just follows, confused too.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Las Vegas, Nevada, accompanied by Lexy Chapel, Lexy Chapel presents The Enigma, The One of a King Superstar, Ace Marshall!”

Ace casually leaps up onto the apron before sitting down on the second rope and making a polite gesture for Lexy as she makes her way up the steps. Lexy Chapel claps her hands cheerfully before going over the middle rope. He leans over the top rope and steps in. Going to the center of the ring he smirks before realizing he doesn’t have his entrance attire. He shrugs and then just poses before turning to Holly and motioning to her. Holly just rolls her eyes. Lexy finishes with her display and exits the ring.

Sharper: “Ace Marshall coming right to the ring from wherever else he was.”

Knots: “Yeah. Guess he’s going to fight in his street clothes. Why not?”

Sharper: “Lexy Chapel is going with it. Holly…I don’t know what to make of her.”

Lyman: “She’s rolling her eyes so maybe Ace is coming too strong with whatever they have planned.”

The bell sounds as Ace Marshall then steps up, rubbing his hands.

Ace: “Alright, where’s-“

Holly then spins through Ace and rolls him up with a school boy.

Ace: “Screw you too!”

Ace then swings and Holly ducks. Holly then forearms Ace in the jaw and then again and again.

Sharper: “Well that broke down!”

Lyman: “Whatever Ace thought he and Holly had agreed to. That’s out!”

Lexy: “Take that Holly! Life coach my ass!”

Lyman: “Lexy even taking shots at Holly. Guess that professional rivalry there!”

Knots: “Probably just happy LexyCorp is not collapsing…if she’s even gone there like we did.”

Sharper: “Does she even know? Or Autumn…”

Holly rolls over and gets up as Ace grabs her and locks in a headlock before nailing her with a hard right to the forehead. Holly falls to a knee. Sharper: “Hard backbreaker as this turned into something I think for fun for Ace to a hard fought battle.”

Lyman: “You know who’s loving this? Crystal Zdunich. She’s got first crack at Holly for the Adrenaline Title!”

Ace gets up and grabs Holly. He pulls her up and then turns and whips her into the ropes. Holly bounces off and Ace goes for a clothesline. Holly ducks. Both bounce off the ropes and then both jump up and hit a crossbody into one another. The crowd ohs and Holly rolls over as Ace rolls over, holding his ribs. The official starts his count. Lyman: “Odd way to do it. Not okay any way. But he dive at the ropes and even tries to swing. That loss seems to be affecting him.”

Sharper: “Holly Adams taking advantage of the self-created distraction and the Adrenaline Champion just pinned the Taking Hold of the Flame winner!”

Knots: “Lexy is losing it on the ref. Something is up here and Ace…he’s actually getting bothered by things. To a better man it couldn’t happen!”

Holly walks back over to the ring and grabs her title. She throws it over her shoulder and smiles before walking over to the camera.

Holly: “Just giving out some free life coaching. Crystal…you’re next. Datura…stay at home and live vicariously through me!”

Holly smiles and throws her hair back. She then starts to walk up the rampway as back in the ring, Ace rolls over in pain, holding his chest.

COMMERCIALS

Ace Marshall is walking backstage, wincing in pain, as Lexy Chapel walks with him. Jessica Winters walks over to them.

Winters: “Ace, can I get a word? What happened out there? It sounded like you had something planned, and then Holly did something else? I know you used to be friend.”

Ace: “Screw her. Wanted to have some fun out there and she pulled her usual crap. Self-important bitch.”

Lexy: “Yeah!”

Ace goes to walk off as we then see Autumn Valentine and Katsumi Yashida

Winters: “Well before you go, I need to ask. And I don’t mean to get you in trouble, but you were seen leaving your locker room earlier, buttoning up your pants and Autumn wasn’t there-“

Lexy flustered steps up and steps in front of Ace as Ace shrugs a bit.

Lexy: “Don’t you worry about anything going on in Ace’s personal life. Leave him alone. Focus on how…how Jake Starr is getting a title shot when he’s retired! Focus on the conspiracy against LexyCorp! Go!...Go!”

Lexy pushes Ace towards Autumn as Autumn shakes her head. Jessica looks confused and turns to Lexy and Ace.

Winters: “How is he mixing Jake Starr up with Cid Turner? And conspiracy…”

Sharper: “That was interesting. Lexy Chapel quickly defending Ace Marshall.”

Lyman: “While Marshall is just…is he all there? He’s taking this loss hard. Being a bit more all over the place than usual.”

The lights go down and then red lights blink on the stage as “Warrior” by Stitched Up Heart begins to play.

Warrior… Warrior…
I’m… I’m a…
Warrior… Warrior…
I’m… I’m a Warrior!

A spotlight shines on the center of the stage to show Jordan Majors walking out from the back. She just heads to the ring, dressed in a hoodie and jeans. Majors reaches the ring and hops onto the apron. He enters the ring.

Sharper: “And here we go. Nicole Kinneck, supported by Brittany Lohan. They’re looking for Majors it sounds and Majors, going to make it nice and easy.”

Knots: “She wants this. She wanted it at Rise to Greatness.”

Lyman: “Nicole thinks it was Jordan! I don’t know why? If anyone would want to face her, it’s Jordan!”

Majors walks across the ring, demanding a microphone. Phillips walks over, handing her one. Majors takes it and turns back to the middle of the ring.

Majors: “Cut the music!”

The crowd roars as the music fades out. Majors looks at the stage.

Majors: “I hear someone’s looking for me backstage. Well, here, I’m going to make it damn easy. At Rise to Greatness, I was supposed to face Nicole Kinneck in an underground rules match. That didn’t happen. Someone stopped it. And you think its me, Nicole? Well, let’s make this simple…I’m right here. I’ll fight you now!”

The crowd cheers as Majors throws the microphone behind her. She stands in the ring, ready to fight. A “Jordan!” chant begins as she stands in the ring.

Lyman: “Well if Jordan’s behind it as Nicole thinks, I don’t know if Nicole can make this make sense.”

Knots: “Maybe a lesser stage. But still. Jordan was pissed at Rise to Greatness!”

Jordan starts to pace in the ring before the crowd erupts as Nicole Kinneck bolts out from the back. The crowd cheers as she runs down and rolls into the ring. She gets up and Majors steps up and both grab at each other’s hair and hold on and nail each other with hard right hands. The crowd roars as they hammer away, both trying to do as much damage in short order. Both get a few good shots before Nicole turns and both fall to the mat. They keep hold on one another before both get a couple more shots in. They both let go, worn down from the hard right hands. Jordan staggers up as Nicole stumbles up too and then runs at Jordan and Jordan spins her into the corner.

Sharper: “Nicole and Jordan! Hammering away.”

Knots: “Look at the impact. They’re going for blood. They’re going for anything!”

Sharper: “Nicole thinks Jordan is responsible for her missing the match. Jordan just wants the fight she’s owed! The moment she was looking forward to!”

Jordan shoulders Nicole in the ribs once and then again before reaching up and going for a hard right. She connects before Nicole suddenly yells out and jumps up onto Jordan. Jordan carries her for a moment, stumbling back before crashing to the mat. Nicole hammers away on Jordan, throwing huge haymakers before Jordan blocks it and manages to slide back before booting Nicole back. Officials run down from the back at this point. Nicole and Jordan get up as Jordan nails Nicole with a forearm and Nicole gets a couple of shots in. The crowd roars again. Official enter as the crowd boos. They get up between the two, and separate them. The boos only grow. A “Let them Fight!” chant begins. Nicole and Jordan keep trying to get free. We then see Brittany Lohan jogging out from the back.

Sharper: “Nicole and Jordan still going at it!”

Lyman: “And this crowd wants them to keep going!”

Sharper: “Brittany Lohan now joining us. She was looking after Nicole. Nicole out here alone.”

Nicole and Jordan yell at one another before Lohan enters the ring. She steps up as Nicole then tries to run past her group of officials as a few turn to Lohan. Nicole gets free and spins around them, only for the officials covering Jordan to stop her and push her back. Jordan then steps to do the same, but Lohan, without hesitating, jumps up and drills her with the For Your Eyes Only. The crowd ohs and Lohan steps over her and officials walks over and push her back. Lohan looks at Jordan as Nicole turns to Lohan and then turns to Jordan. Lohan motions to Nicole, telling her to stop.

Sharper: “Brittany Lohan just took out Jordan Majors!”

Knots: “That’s one way to diffuse the situation!”

Sharper: “Now she’s trying to get Nicole to stop.”

Knots: “Good luck there!”

Nicole keeps looking at Jordan, seething as Lohan looks at Nicole. Nicole then rolls to the floor. Officials follow her as she walks around the ring. Lohan does the same on the other side. Lohan heads around and over to Nicole. She then grabs Nicole and starts to pull her away. Jordan slowly rolls over, holding her jaw in pain. She stretches it, wincing as Jordan watches Lohan take Nicole away. The crowd boos.

Brittany: “Look! You weren’t going to get more. Jordan’s using you for this. If you think she’s behind it, why would she do that?”

Nicole: “Do I look like I give a damn? I want to rip her head off!”

Brittany: “You’re Nicole’s protector, pro. You need to be smarter than this! Plus, you couldn’t wait a moment. What if she was behind it and put you down again.”

Nicole: “Screw that! You were calling someone. I saw her come out. I came here for blood! And if she’s behind it, I’m going to beat it out of her!”

Brittany: “And how did that work? Huh?! Switch to Ducky or Nicole. They’ll at least stay here.”

Nicole: “No! Screw you!”

Nicole turns and heads off.

Nicole: “Hey! Someone in charge! Give me a match with Jordan!”

Brittany: “God damn it…”

Brittany walks forward before she stops as her phone chirps. She then pulls out her phone. She looks at it and smiles before then refocusing.

Brittany: “Nicole!”

Brittany follows Nicole as she disappears from view.

Lucas Knight vs. Kandis

The opening of “Whore” by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

{I'm the girl you've been thinking about, The one thing you can't live without
I'm the girl you've been waiting for
I'll have you down on your knees, I'll have you begging for more}

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face as the crowd boos. The SCW World Tag Team Championship sits around her waist. She turns and shows off her notorious rear end, swaying it back and forth, the title’s frontplate sitting over it. Tommy Valentine walks out from the back and joins her, brandishing his Tag Title.

{I can be, I can be your eve... ry... thing}

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, then Kandis turns around, arms spread and feet wide apart as vocalist Maria Brink shouts:

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

Kandis starts down the ramp as the rest of the chorus continues, the sway in her hips ever present as she smirks at all the boos, even blowing sarcastic kisses to the crowd. Tommy Valentine follows her.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, representing the Jackals, accompanied by Tommy Valentine, she hails from Santa Barbara California, one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, she is Kandis!”

{I am the dirt you created
I am your sinner, I am your whore
But let me tell you something, baby
You love me for everything you hate me for}

Kandis goes up the ring steps and enters the ring through the second and top rope slowly, making sure to show off her ass. Tommy Valentine walks around the ring. The heavy music fades out as Kandis goes to her corner and hands Tommy her title.

Sharper: “Kandis and Tommy Valentine are yet again World Tag Team Champions. Adam Allocco thought he had Tommy. Tommy hit the Greiver’s Bane and now they are four time World Tag Team Champions.”

Knots: “But with a new focus. And Lucas Knight awaits them, but I’m curious if he’s alone. And I’m not talking about Chris Cannon!”

Out go the lights with a flick of a switch as all eyes focus onto the stage, just then the screen lights up as the opening to “Alpha King” by Rev Theory begins to play over the P.A system. Then and only then we see a series of words in italic writing phase in and out on the big screen...

The crowd's cheers fill the arena as the lights come back on fully to show Lucas Knight standing on the stage looking at the crowd, he wears a black leather jacket with the union jack emblazoned on it. He looks out to the crowd with a smirk and nods. He then glances behind him as Christy Matthews, holding the interim SCW United States Championship, walks out on the stage behind him. The crowd roars as Christy joins Lucas.

Phillips: “Her opponent, accompanied by Christy Matthews, hailing from London, England by way of Santa Monica, California. He is the Alpha King, Lucas Knight!”

Just then video of Lucas' career plays out on the tron as the music ramps up even more. Then Lucas begins to walk down towards the ring slapping hands of some fans in the front row aisles. Once he reaches the bottom, Lucas slides under the bottom rope and quickly scales one corner and looks out to the crowd with another smirk as he now removes his jacket and hangs it over the steep post. Christy goes to Lucas’s corner as Kandis looks at Knight.

Knight begins to motion his hands across his waist signalling a title will be there soon enough before he jumps down to the canvas and begins to pull at the top rope and warm up for the match ahead. Kandis points at him, trying to get at him, as the official, Steve Hollinsworth, stops her.

Backstage, Jessica Winters stands with Amy Chastaine and a young male next to him.

Jessica: “I am here with Amy Chastaine and Amy, you are with one of SCW’s newest hires, aren’t you?”

Amy: “Yes, I am. It’s a great honour to introduce the world to Spencer Pryce. A hard working student from the Blackout Academy and someone who caught the eye of SCW officials at the Rise to Greatness Fanfest. It was a blast giving my students that opportunity and Spencer has a bigger one.”

Jessica: “Well Spencer, pleasure to meet you. Care to offer your first thoughts on SCW and what can we expect from you?”

Spencer steps up.

Spencer: “Thank you. Right now, just getting my feet week. Have a bit more scouting to do, but I’m told I’ll have my debut in hopefully two weeks. Amy will be in my corner, and, uh, it’s going to be a lot of fun. I get to live a dream and not many of us have the opportunity to compete at this high level. The fact that I got noticed…it’s a testament to my hardwork, but also Amy’s training, but I also feel for my feel wrestlers in the academy who may have hoped for this. I just hope to stand up and stand well in this company and maybe open a few doors and down the road, win some times. That’s a bit away, but until then, I just look forward to who’s next!”

Jessica: “Well, congratulations. We look forward to more from you. Before you leave, Amy, I have one more question. Kelsai Adamson-Mason was in action at Rise to Greatness. You weren’t in her corner.”

Amy: “I don’t know what to say there. Kelsai surprised me showing up. And she showed up with her gear. She said someone told her to do so. Surprising they didn’t go though me, but I was just as surprised as anyone. Kelsai…well she learned a few hard lessons about the wrestling business that night.”

Jessica: “Thanks for your time.”

Amy: “No thank you.”

Spencer: “Thanks.”

Amy and Spencer head off.

Jessica: “Breakdown returns after this!”

The scene fades to black.

Nicole gets up and goes to storm off, but Lohan grabs her and smothers her with her arms, keeping her in place. She struggles.

Brittany: “No…we’re not-“

Dean: “Look. Get her out of here. We’ll take a look at the security footage if there is any. But we’re not going to have her tearing things apart. If Jordan is behind it, or whoever is behind it, we’ll figure it out.”

Brittany: “Fine…but you better find something!”

Brittany turns to Nicole.

Brittany: “Come on. We’re leaving.”

Nicole: “Let me go! I need to go after her!”

Brittany: “Not tonight!”

Brittany drags her off screw as Dean Black looks around and turns to one of the officials, saying something as we cut away.

Another part of the backstage area sees Crystal Zdunich, with Alexandra Caldwell, standing next to Jaina Lancaster.

Jaina: “Jaina Lancaster here and I’m with the number one contender to the SCW Adrenaline Championship, Crystal Zdunich. And Crystal, you’ve got a match that you definitely are looking forward to professionally, but also personally.”

Crystal: “Oh you’re right there! Holly!”

Crystal looks at the camera.

Crystal: “I came into SCW a year ago, looking to work with you. I quickly learned just how two-faced you are and you’ve been a thorn in my side for far too long and now, a year later, I get to face you one on one, but not just in any match…a match for your Adrenaline Championship and trust me, I’m looking forward to this. This is going to be a night I’ll circle on my calendar and smile looking at it until it happens. I saw what happened earlier. I don’t know what your history is there. I don’t care. It’ll be a different type of personal when we face. I won’t be distracted. I won’t be denied and most importantly, I’m not going to need any damn life coaching. I’m just going to need a bigger bag when I win your title and have the honour of carrying it around the world with me everywhere I go! So Holly…count the days. I know I am!”

The crowd roars as the scene cuts away.

The scene opens up in the back parking lot for wrestlers as a limousine pulls up to the arena. The crowd roars seeing this.

Sharper: “Wait a minute…we’re almost done tonight. Who is showing up now?”

Knots: “Clearly someone important!”

The limousine comes to a stop before the driver’s side door opens. The chauffeur gets out and walks over to the passenger door, opening it. The camera pans around as two long slender legs step out and Kennedy Street stands up and smiles, looking right at the camera.

Kennedy: “Well isn’t this a sight for sore eyes…”

The crowd roars.

Knots: “Told you it was someone important!”

Lyman: “She’s late even by her standards.”

Kennedy: “Don’t worry. I wasn’t going to let a night go by without seeing yours truly. I mean what would the first night back be without Kennie. I know. Hardly worth the price of admission. But it’s been a big night. None bigger than Rise to Greatness when I managed to get the revenge I so richly deserved against Ravyn Taylor. Beat her one, two, three….I always felt I was better than her and I proved it. Oh and Bree…great effort. Too bad only one of us could win.”

Kennedy shrugs.

Kennedy: “But that brings me here to tonight. SCW didn’t have me booked to compete. A mistake on their head, but I get it. You want someone like me in small doses. Leave the people wanting more. But I wasn’t going to not show up here tonight and make my presence felt. So voila. Here I am!”

Kennedy smiles and poses a bit.

Kennedy: “So now you can all go home happy? I don’t have any other reason to be here. But you know what I learned…I’m worth the price of admission alone. And what Kennie wants…she gets.”

Kennedy glances at her wrist were a designer watch sits.

Kennedy: “Well, that’s all the time I can spend today. See you next week.”

Kennedy turns and steps back into the limousine. The chauffeur closes the door after she gets in. He then walks around and over to the driver’s side door. He then starts to drive off. The camera watches the limousine drive off. Just as it’s about to turn away, we see Brittany Lohan dragging Nicole Kinneck away from the building. Kinneck is notably skipping as she does so.

“The Old Me” plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A still of Selena Frost vs. Tommy Valentine follows.

Sharper: “That was certainly interesting.”

Knots: “Wasn’t it! It was great!”

Sharper: “Well I think you’re a bit biased Jon. Anyway, next, Tommy Valentine faces Selena Frost in non-title action. Here on Breakdown, when we return!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Tommy Valentine vs. Selena Frost

The arena's lights cut out completely, plunging the whole room into darkness for several seconds before the screens light up to display four words.

HEART FILLED WITH HATE

The screens show static for a few seconds before going dark once more. The black screen starts to pulse now like a heartbeat and on each pulse that reverberates round the arena, a shot of Thomas in various poses is shown before reverting to the words on screen until the next pulse that sounds like a bass drum beat with increasing volume until a final shot of him holding the SCW Title aloft after winning the match at Taking Hold Of The Flame is Shown and remains until two green fireworks shoot from the rafters and explode on the ramp. The explosion drifts across the ramp before the beginning chords to "Cut The Cord" by Shinedown, hits.

A shot of "Thorn" going for the Swanton from the top of a chamber pod at Under Attack 2009 is shown in slow motion as he misses it and hits nothing but canvas. A shot now of him hitting the Socially Unacceptable Moonsault stomp from the top rope onto Justin Davis is shown, the impact punctuated by the last word of the verse before a shadowed figure can be seen standing in front of the curtain at the top of the ramp.

"FREE-DOM LALALALA FREE-DOM FOLLOW ME!"

As the last word echoes, the lights start to strobe again briefly as the song reverberates throughout the arena now, causing the fans to start jeering, the heat almost palpable in the air.

The lights finally flicker back on and Thomas Valentine can now be seen on top of the arena's ramp as he looks out into the audience that are now booing loudly, chanting obscenities in some cases. Kandis stands with him. He stops and smiles a little before spinning around away from the fans and holding his arms outwards with his palms upwards, he then stops and then shakes his head before smirking and shrugging. They both hold their titles.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall, for TV time remaining, and is your main event of the evening. First, accompanied by Kandis and representing the Jackals, from Santa Barbara, California, he is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, Tommy Valentine!”

Tommy takes a few steps down to the ring as pyro shoots out from the stage. He continues to walk to the ring, Kandis behind her. Tommy heads toward the ring and rolls into the ring. He immediately runs to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle, simply nodding before looking at all the fans in the crowd with undisguised disgust. Meanwhile, Thomas jumps down before standing still in the centre, cranking his neck. He then stands motionless in the corner before waiting for his opponent. Kandis takes his title.

Sharper: “Tommy has already been annoyed tonight. So we’ll see how that transfers to this one.”

Lyman: “Not much time to get over it. After seeing OOC get one over the Connection, they may be looking to make a statement.”

Knots:” And remember a year ago…Tommy was flirting with World Championship goals here. So he’s a threat as is!”

BELIEVE IT!

The SCW Universe are on their feet as  “Kings and Queens” by Ava Max as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe, holding the SCW World Championship over her shoulder, and Deanna Frost steps out with Selena as well.

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward, her back arm lifted behind her to the sky. With a lift of her right foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arms, the Winter’s Knight walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena slides under the ropes to enter it. She gets up and lifts her hand up to give a twirl as the lights form to make a massive snowflake under her. Stopping her spin and lowering her hand back down, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a smirk graces her lips, her other arm lifting to the sky once more. With a slam of her foot, Selena caused the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out blue sparkles of light as the lights return to normal. She looks around as the crowd roars.

Phillips: “And his opponent, she is the Face of the SCW, she is the SCW World Champion…she is…SELENA FROST!”

Sharper: “Our main event is going to be one hell of a battle. A battle of champions.”

Lyman: “Right you are, Adam. 6-time Tag Team Champion, Tommy Valentine, going against the reigning SCW World Champion, Selena Frost. This should keep our eyes glued to the ring.”

Knots: “Well, we also have to worry about Kandis. Let’s not forget Deanna.”

Sharper: “Deanna? She’s never given any indication that she’d try to cheap shot anyone Selena faces.”

Knots: “I’m just saying the quiet ones are those you need to watch out for.”

The ref calls for the bell. Kandis and Deanna step off their respective sides of the apron. Tommy and Selena stare across the ring from one another, before they begin to circle one another.

Tommy lunges forward, as he and Selena lock up in the center of the ring.

Sharper: “Might be a bit of a feeling out process.”

Knots: “Not sure if you should say that.”

Lyman: “Surely, Tommy will be able to get the advantage, due to his size and strength.”

Tommy backs Selena into the ropes, before breaking the lock up, and delivering a knife edge chop. Tommy then grabs hold of Selena and whips her across the ring. Selena comes back. Tommy goes for a clothesline, but Selena dunks under. Selena bounces off the ropes, but Tommy hits a spinning back elbow.

Lyman: “Tommy slowing Selena down with that elbow!”

Selena staggers a bit. Tommy pushes her back into the ropes, before connecting with a forearm. The ref steps in, telling Tommy to get Selena off the ropes. Tommy delivers another forearm, before jawing with the ref. The crowd boos.

Knots: “Tommy doesn’t respect the authority.”

Tommy turns around only for Selena to kick him in the midsection. Selena hooks Tommy and plants him with a twisting neckbreaker.

Sharper: “And Selena made him pay for taking his eyes off her.”

Selena goes for a cover.

Tommy kicks out. Selena grabs Tommy and pulls him up slowly, but Tommy fires away with a European uppercut, sending Selena into the corner. In the corner, Tommy begins to drive his shoulder into Selena’s ribs. He then grabs her and flips Selena over his shoulder, as she lands on her backside. Tommy charges and connects with a knee to the back of the head.

Tommy then goes for a cover of his own.

Selena kicks out.

Sharper: “Tommy getting a two count, giving our World’s Champion a run for her money right now.”

Selena is shown stirring. Tommy grabs her and goes to whip her across the ring, but Selena reverses. Tommy goes for another clothesline, but Selena dunks it. He goes for another spinning back elbow, but Selena dunks that as well. Tommy spins around once again, only for Selena to leap up and connect with a Pele kick.

Tommy stumbles, dropping to one knee before bouncing back up, only for Selena to hook him and hit a full nelson bulldog. Selena hooks the leg.

Tommy kicks out once again.

Lyman: “The World’s Champion, the Face of the SCW finally building some momentum.”

Knots: “Looks like Tommy’s face has now become one with the mat.”

Selena pulls Tommy to his feet. She whips him into the corner. Selena charges, only for Tommy to fire off with an elbow. Selena staggers back. Tommy charges and takes Selena down with a running lariat. Selena is shown slowly pushing herself up, as Tommy is shown bouncing off the ropes, taking her down with the Crescent kick. Selena crumples to the mat and Tommy goes for another cover.

Selena kicks out. Tommy gets to his feet, before grabbing Selena, but she fires back with a European uppercut of her own. Tommy staggers back into the ropes. Selena goes to whip him across, but Tommy reverses, kicks her in the midsection, before hooking her and taking her down with the Twist of Hate. Tommy goes for another cover.

Selena shoots her shoulder up. Tommy argues with the referee, earning himself more boos. Deanna can be seen rooting for Selena, as Kandis is then shown arguing with the referee as well. Tommy then turns away and goes to grab Selena, but she hits a kick to the chest. Tommy staggers back, as Selena charges and leaps up as she grabs hold of Tommy’s head, hooking around his neck before taking him down with a tornado DDT.

Knots: “Selena could be building some momentum again.”

Sharper: “This is why she managed to overcome the odds at Rise to Greatness to retain the World’s Championship against Ace Marshall. She never quits.”

Lyman: “And Tommy’s been taking it to her. So that match earlier could have driven him here.”

Selena goes for a cover.

1!

2!

Tommy kicks out.

Simon: “Looks like she almost had him there.”

Selena is shown getting to her feet and beginning to stalk Tommy as the crowd begins to cheer loudly. Tommy starts to get up as Selena runs at him and nails him with a clothesline, knocking him back into the corner. Selena kicks him in the ribs and then again and again. She grabs his head and then goes to run up the corner, but Tommy throws her off as she spins through. Selena lands on her feet and Tommy drops down and rolls to the floor. He then backs up as winces as Selena backs up, and motions for him to enter the ring.

Sharper: “This is all Selena now!”

Lyman: “Tommy getting some distance. Backing up. But he’s going to have to get back in there!”

Knots: “Selena Frost wants him back! She wants to keep going!”

Selena then turns and starts to get the fans going, but as she does, the crowd boos as we see Asher Hayes and Cid Turner running down from the back. Asher immediately goes to Tommy and runs him shoulder first into the ringsteps. Cid just looks at Asher before Asher rolls into the ring. Demitra calls for the bell. Selena turns and Asher goes for her, but Selena blocks it, grabbing his head. The crowd roars before rolls into the ring. Kandis checks on Tommy as Cid runs over and nails Selena with a hard right. Selena falls back. Asher holds on and lifts her up before spinning her down to the mat. Asher rolls off as Cid turns to her. Asher motions as Cid, following Asher’s lead, starts to stomp away on Selena. Deanna watches at ringside. She then starts to move to the ring, but Asher rolls to the floor. Cid gets a few shots on Selena as she rolls over. Kandis and Tommy get up as Tommy then looks in the ring. Asher grabs Deanna and forces her back before she can even react.

Sharper: “Deanna trying to get in, but Asher quickly grabbing her! And now forcing her to watch as Selena gets attacked by Cid Turner!”

Knots: “Why not add injury to insult? This is all different from before!”

Sharper “Cid challenging Selena Frost at Apocalypse.”

Lyman: “Tommy and Kandis though…they attacked them.”

Tommy steps forward before the crowd erupts in cheers as Syren runs out from the back. Tommy stops and then stops Kandis as Syren bolts past them. Tommy just waves it off as Syren rolls into the ring. Asher looks, warning Cid. Deanna is able to get free, wriggling out and pushing Asher back as Syren nails Cid from behind, knocking him down. He rolls over and Syren turns and drops down to the floor. Asher backs up as Syren bolts after her. Asher rolls back into the ring. Syren spins around and rolls in after. Asher runs past Selena, stomping her for good measure before diving through the ropes to the floor. Cid backs off and turns to Deanna before backing away to be sure and joining Asher. Syren steps up as the crowd roars. Tommy storms off with Kandis.

Sharper: “Syren coming down. Tommy has no desire to help Syren. And looks at like A/C Unit only got a few shots in.”

Lyman: “But shots Selena and Deanna are going to remember!”

Cid watches Tommy and Kandis as they leave as Asher turns to the ring as Syren backs up and starts to help Selena up. Selena pulls away and looks at her. Syren and Selena lock eyes as Deanna enters the ring.

Sharper: “And did anyone see this coming? Syren helping Selena Frost?”

Knots: “Hell’s frozen over again!”

Syren gets Selena up as they then turn to Cid and Asher as Asher just points to Cid, pointing to the title. Deanna meanwhile gets Selena’s title from the apron and hands it to her as the scene fades to black…
