Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing Rated X posing as SCW World Tag Team Champions. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see David Striker diving over the top rope and Josh Hudson standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chance Owens, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo

Out of this cage
He breaks to take the life from me
Tell me, tell me, tell me
I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing the Shinigami Foundation standing in the ring talking to the crowd. There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Kandis, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “SCW is back from its yearly hiatus. The fallout from Rise to Greatness XXI will be felt tonight. And we have four new champions including a new World Champion in Josh Hudson!”

We see a steel cage hanging over the ring for a few moments before the cameras pan the crowd before we cut to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper alongside Jonathan Knots to call the action. And as I mentioned, four new champions. And a big night tonight.”

Knots: “We even have a steel cage over the ring. Scott Reed and Kirsten Scott are going to meet in that later tonight in our main event.”

Sharper: “Not just that, but we’ll see Deanna Frost look to move on from Rise to Greatness by facing Gavin Taylor.”

Knots: “How do you do that when you were almost burned alive in the ring?”

Sharper: “We’ll have more on Rise to Greatness weekend and some of the big news from those shows, but first…the World Champion!”

“Duality” blares through the PA system as the stage lights flash and the crowd roars.

"I push my fingers into my eyes..."

The cameras show the crowd who begin cheering before zooming in at the entrance way, where Josh Hudson steps out with Bree Lancaster. Hudson has the SCW World Championship around his waist. He looks around the arena as the cheers grow.

Knots: “Think they’re happy that Selena Frost isn’t champion anymore?”

Sharper: “Putting it mildly. Josh Hudson threw everything he could at Selena Frost and managed to just push through. Hudson winning his fourth SCW World Championship.”

"It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
But it's made of all the things I have to take
Jesus, it never ends, it works it's way inside
If the pain goes on...I'm not gonna make it!"

Hudson slowly makes his way down the ramp with Bree Lancaster. He reaches the bottom of the ramp, and he looks out to the crowd before making his way up the ring steps and climbs into the ring. He then holds the ropes open for Bree who enters the ring. Bree encourages him to go and Hudson goes to the bottom right-hand corner, climbing to the top rope. Hudson is shown staring out at the crowd once again, as he lifts both fists into the air, earning more cheers before he climbs down and goes over to the corner, asking for a microphone from ring announcer Jason Phillips. Phillips obliges and Hudson turns back to the ring. Bree Lancaster applauds him as his music fades out. Hudson looks around as loud “Thank you Josh!” chants begin to come from the crowd. Hudson looks around, smirking as Bree leans in and whispers something to him.

Knots: “If you had told me you’d have near twenty thousand thanking Josh for something, I don’t know if I’d buy it but here we are.”

Sharper: “Clearly fans appreciative of Josh Hudson, both winning the World Title, but also ending Selena Frost’s reign.”

Hudson looks around, the chants continuing. Hudson continues to enjoy the moment before slowly bringing the microphone to his mouth. The chants start to stop.

Hudson: “I didn’t say you had to stop!”

The crowd roars as Hudson smirks. Bree chuckles a bit.

Hudson: “Seems like I did good work then, right?”

The crowd cheers again.

Hudson: “I mean I am now a four time SCW World Champion and I beat Selena Frost at Rise to Greatness XXI!”

More cheers from the crowd.

Hudson: “And don’t worry. I’m going to make this simple. See, I don’t have any contracts to prevent people from coming on the target I willingly put on my back by winning this title.”

Hudson points to his waist as the crowd cheers again.

Hudson: “I don’t need to bully officials to getting my way. I don’t care who officiates my matches. I don’t care about why you’re fighting me. I just care that you BRING IT.”

Hudson looks at the camera as the crowd roars.

Hudson: “It’s not hard. It’s not rocket science. Because as I’ve proven over twenty years, I enter this ring and I compete. And I’ll grant Selena this….she does too. But I don’t need double standards. I don’t need to complain. I don’t need to lord over everyone. If you think you deserve a shot at this, there’s only one way to prove it and that’s by getting in the ring and seeing if you can beat me!”

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

“Whore” by In This Moment plays as Kandis steps out from the back, alongside Kirsten Scott. They step forward, looking down at the ring. Kandis has a microphone in her hand. Hudson and Lancaster turn to the stage.

Knots: “Looks like you got a taker, Hudson.”

Sharper: “And Kandis has been gunning for the World Title for months.”

Knots: “Doesn’t care against who? Asher? Selena? She’s just wanting to get her title back.”

Kandis: “Oh Josh…”

Kandis steps forward.

Kandis: “You used to be known for your feud against Owen and beating Xander Valentine’s undefeated streak back in the day and you’ve proven you’re still better than that ballless wonder. Well done, Josh!”

Kandis mockingly claps as Kirsten and her advance to the ring.

Kandis: “And it didn’t take you long to say the magic words. Anyone who wants to prove themselves, step up. Well here I am and you’re holding what’s been mine for eight months now.”

Kandis and Kirsten Scott reach the ring. They pull themselves onto the apron.

Kandis: “So Josh, do you have a set?”

Hudson: “I’m not here to make people jump through hoops-“

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Soul on Fire chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

Others are born to run

Some need to keep on takin'

Till you ain't got none”

Kandis and Kirsten Scott enter the ring and turn before Xander Valentine walks out from the back. He just heads to the ring, looking at the ring. Kandis motions for him to come at her. Hudson watches this as Hudson looks at Xander.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine may have a problem with that. He defeated Kandis at Rise to Greatness.”

Xander Valentine makes his way down the ring. The crowd continues to roar as he then reaches the ring. Just, however, as he pulls himself up. We see Scott Reed running down from the back. He runs down and slides into the ring. Xander steps in and notices him. Kirsten Scott just scoffs and starts to get ready to fight, pulling on the top rope. Scott Reed steps up as Bree Lancaster walks over to actually stop him. Kirsten Scott glances at her.

Kandis: “You better hold that virgin back. He’s already got a death wish later tonight. And you, Xander…”

Xander grabs the microphone. The crowd roars. Kandis looks right at him. Hudson steps up at this point, but only briefly.

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. Kandis shifts her attention to the stage as Xander pulls the microphone from Kandis. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. A piece of paper is in one hand and a microphone in the other.

Sharper: “As tensions are rising in that ring, now the former World Champion.”

Knots: “And you know what she has…”

Sharper: “You are right, Jon…she has a contract…”

Selena Frost stops on the stage and looks down at the ring.

Frost: “It still seems that so many of you don’t understand what I had been doing. But then again, some of you can’t take the hint. Josh…you can turn this into the Wild West all you want. But I see a group of people in that ring that have already PROVEN, as you said, that they couldn’t rise to the occasion when they tried to seize it.”

Frost pauses.

Hudson: “There’s at least one in here that did!”

Hudson looks at Selena as the crowd roars.

Frost: “And maybe we correct that.”

Frost looks at the paper in her hand.

Frost: “We already know what I have and thank you to CHBK for having it waiting for me before I even left Rise to Greatness. My contract for my rematch for the World Championship.”

The crowd boos loudly. Frost shrugs.

Frost: “And it just needs one signature and it’ll be in play. And all of this…it can just end. BELIEVE IT…Josh. Because it seems so many of you don’t.”

Hudson nods and backs up as Kandis turns back to Xander as Kirsten turns to Reed. Bree remains in between them.

Hudson: “Well Selena…if you want your rematch, I’m not going to run. I beat you once and as a champion, I will have no problem coming to this ring to beat you again and-“

The crowd roars, building up as Hudson responds only for Hudson to be cut off as someone enters the ring, wearing a Josh Hudson hoodie. They spin Hudson around and kick him in the ribs. They then hoist him up and hit a Texas Piledriver. The crowd ohs. Bree turns and dives to Hudson to check on him.

Sharper: “Wait! No! Piledriver! Piledriver!”

Knots: “Who the hell…no! No!”

The man gets up, throwing off the hood, revealing it to be Blake Mason. The crowd roars. Bree looks up stunned.

Sharper: “Blake Mason just spiked Josh Hudson!”

Lancaster: “Now? Why him? Why-“

Mason looks at Lancaster and then Hudson before rolling to the floor. Mason looks up at Lancaster as Frost shakes her head and leaves to the back before Kandis and Kirsten Scott turn and Kandis nails Xander with a hard right and Kirsten attacks Reed. Reed fires back as Valentine takes a few shots before kneeing Kandis in the stomach. The crowd roars as Kirsten and Reed, and Kandis and Valentine fight. Bree checks on Hudson.

Sharper: “And chaos all around. Kandis and Valentine pick back up where they left off. Same for Reed and Kirsten Scott!”

Knots: “The Wild West is here! And Frost wants no part of it. She just walked off.”

Sharper: “And Mason walking around the ring. Strikes and leaves. Bree Lancaster surprised. And there’s a long history there!”

Mason reaches the rampway as we see officials run past him and into the ring to break everything up.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see Josh Hudson sitting on a storage crate backstage, leaning forward, wincing in pain and rubbing his neck. Bree Lancaster is with him.

Lancaster: “You okay?”

Hudson: “Been dropped on my head before. Just…did you know…”

Lancaster sighs.

Hudson: “Did you know/”

Lancaster: “He told me he’d be here….I didn’t think he’d go after you.

Hudson: “Is it because of you? Am I going to have a problem with him that way-“

Lancaster: “Relax. That ship long sailed and he knows it. He told me he was here. As for you…I’m going to find out. You have a big enough target on your back.”

Hudson: “Just you be careful too.”

Lancaster: “Get some compresses or heat packs from the trainer. I’ll be back.”

Bree heads off as Hudson stretches out his neck a bit more and we cut to the ring.

Shinigami Foundation vs. European Fiery Nation

“Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy)” by Rob Zombie hits the PA and the crowd gives a mixed reaction as Wil Pierce and Alex Belmont make their way out to the ring, accompanied by Jamison Frost. They walk down the ramp. They walk up the steps to the ring and play to the crowd a little bit.

Phillips: “Making their way to the ring accompanied by Jamison Frost, they are Alex Belmont and Wil Pierce, the Shinigami Foundation!”

before their music dies out and Frost waits outside the ring, cheering on The Shinigami Foundation.

Knots: “A new tag team in the ranks in SCW and I’ll be honest, I can’t tell if I like these guys or hate these guys.”

Sharper: “Time will tell. Word is that these two have a reputation for being agitators but that their work speaks for itself. They’ve got quite a test tonight.”

Off To War by Behemoth plays over the sound system with the lights being dark as ever as Konrad, with Ginny behind him in the middle, Ludvig on the left and Dakon on the right-hand sides, looking at the crowd and got heavy boos. When the lights briefly came back on, you see Dakon, Ludvig and Ginny for Konrad waving their Norway, Sweden and German flags. Konrad brings his German mace to the ring with him as he crotches down with the mace in front of him with Ginny behind him, while Ludvig and Dakon are on the left and right-hand side.

Phillips: Making their way to the ring, accompanied by Ginny Raab, coming from Sweden, Norway and Germany, they are Ludvig Eriksson, Dakon Theron and Konrad Raab, known as The European Fiery Nation."

The lights went out again as Konrad got up from his knees. They walked down to the ring with their flags and stepped on the stairs, and did a hold-up in the middle of the ring as they gave their flags to Ginny, and she left the ring to go to the back, leaving the three men in the ring as Konrad sits down with the Ludvig and Dakon on the side of Raab. Konrad exits the ring, eyeing up Jamison Frost in a surly fashion as he does so, who just stares back.

Knots: “The European Fiery Nation are here and in no mood, clearly.”

Sharper: “Are they ever? This faction of dangerous European athletes is led by one of the angriest men ever in professional wrestling. This isn’t a group so much as it is a caldron with Konrad Raab at the helm.”

Dakon and Ludvig jump their opponents from behind just before the bell can sound. They shove Wil out of the ring, who lands with a hard thud on the ground. The EFN begins to stomp away at Alex Belmont aggressively in the corner before the referee breaks it up and forces Ludvig out of the ring. Ludvig puts his hands up as the bell finally sounds. Dakon continues to aggressively stomp away at Belmont before lifting him up and sending him for the ride. He comes back off and is met with a hard spinning back elbow from Dakon. Belmont rolls over as Dakon picks up him and pushes him into his corner. Tag to Ludvig. They send Belmont for the ride and hit him with a double back body drop. The crowd oh’s as Pierce finally gets back onto the apron.

Knots: “The Nation wasting no time getting right town to brass tacks here tonight.”

Sharper: “Unsurprisingly showing the fire that makes them the dangerous group they are.”

Ludvig on the offensive now, throwing palm blows into the head of his opponent. The crowd oh’s as the ref finally breaks up the onslaught. Ludvig picking up Belmont now. He goes for the ride now, but as Belmont hits the ropes, he holds on. Ludvig bends over looking to catch him. A tag to Pierce now. Ludvig charges Belmont who sidesteps him, sending Ludvig between the second and third ropes. He lands with a thud on the floor. Dakon enters untagged now and charges into the ring. As he approaches the Shinigami Foundation, Pierce meets him with a boot and throws him to the outside. Belmont runs to the opposite rope and bounds off with vigor, and when he comes back he is helped over the top rope by Pierce, landing on the European Fiery Nation with an assisted corkscrew plancha! The crowd goes wild as the EFN are down! Belmont gets up and plays to the crowd.

Knots: “The big man throwing dimes out there with his own tag team partner! Wild!”

Sharper: “What an athletic move by the Shinigami Foundation! And ladies and gentlemen, we’ll be right back with more tag team action after this message from our sponsors!”

No! Belmont kicks out. He rolls over and reaches out for Pierce, who reaches back looking for a tag. Ludvig with another stomp to the back of Belmont.

Sharper: “Well ladies and gentlemen, during our commercial break, Konrad Raab let his presence be known and involved himself in a big way.”

The replay screen hits, showing Belmont connecting with a big dropkick on Ludvig. When he goes for the tag, however, Konrad pulls Pierce off the apron. The referee immediately starts yelling at Konrad, who puts his hands up, but as he does so Dakon delivers a scoop slam driver on an unaware Belmont to a crowd oh.

Knots: “It’s been all European Fiery Nation since then, breaking up the quick tag strategy being deployed by the Foundation!”

The crowd cheers Belmont on as Ludvig locks him in a side headlock and drags him over to Dakon. Tag made. They mug Belmont in the corner with a series of aggressive chops and blows before the ref forces Ludvig out of the ring. The crowd boo’s as Ludvig gets involved now, using a snap mare takeover to boot Belmont in the back. Belmont winces and falls back into a cover!

Kick out by Belmont. Ludvig immediately locks on a side headlock and applies pressure. The crowd begins to cheer on Belmont. Belmont tries to fight to his feet, but his brought back down by a quick jerk by Ludvig. Pierce cheers on his tag team partner, encouraging the crowd to cheer Belmont on further. Rhythmic clapping seems to stir to fight out, Pierce desperately reaching over the top rope. Belmont gets to his feet and throws a few elbows into the ribs of Ludvig. Finally, Ludvig releases Belmont. Belmont reaches out to his tag team partner, but Ludvig catches his trailing arm and pulls him back. When Belmont turns around he delivers a high stiff knee into the chin of his opponent, who flops backwards, dazed expression in his eyes as he stumbles towards his own corner.

Knots: “Lights out for Ludvig Eriksson!”

Sharper: “Both men needing to make a tag here!”

Belmont falls forward and makes the tag to Pierce! Dakon tags the stray hand of his partner. Pierce hits the ring like wildfire, taking an in coming Dakon down with a front kick. Dakon hits the mat hard. Ludvig stands up, still stunned. Pierce launches him into the air and hits him with a pop-up spinebuster! The crowd oh’s as Ludvig rolls out of the ring. Konrad tends to him now, angrily telling him to snap out of it.

Pierce sizes Dakon up in the corner now, who crawls around on his knees. When he gets up, he turns around into a very athletic Superman punch! He makes the cover!

3-NO! Dakon gets his shoulder up.

Knots: “Clark Kent, eat your heart out!”

Sharper: “The big man making his presence felt tonight in a big way! He really got up off the ground for that. He’s been fresh this whole match and he looks like he’s only going to pick up steam from here!”

Pierce stalks Dakon, who tries to use the ropes to get to his feet, but Ludvig from behind with a diving double forearm blow to Pierce that knocks him down. Ludvig shakes off the cobwebs and mounts Pierce with some straight rights. The ref attempts to break it up.

Knots: “Ludvig isn’t the legal man and he doesn’t care!”

Sharper: “Wil Pierce was about to lay a hurting down on Dakon Theron but his tag team partner made a timely, if illegal, intervention.”

Knots: “But there’s Belmont!”

From the top rope, Belmont dives and hits a shotgun dropkick on a recovering Theron as Pierce and Ludvig begin rolling around on the mat exchanging blows. The crowd cheers as Belmont mounts Dakon now, throwing straight punches. The ref orders all men to immediately stop and to return to their corners. Nobody can even seem to hear him. He counts both sets of men, now brawling with one another, down, before shaking his head and calling for the bell.

Knots: “What the hell just happened?”

Sharper: “It appears that both teams are going to be disqualified! Animal instincts kicked in and this contest became a Donnybrook in no time.”

All four men continue to brawl and scrap on the canvas. The referee calls for the bell again but they don’t break it up. Finally, security rolls into the ring and begins to pull the men apart.

Knots: “I don’t know if we’ve seen the end of this story, Adam.”

Sharper: “I’d be surprised if this was it. Something tells me we’re going to have to run this one back. Two teams that clearly don’t like each other as security now having to pry them apart.”

The scrap finally broken up, Wil Pierce points over the top of security to the European Fiery Nation, who jaw back, Ludvig still holding his jaw. Konrad is in the ring now pointing at the Shinigami Foundation, held back by a security detail entrusted to his rage. Jamison Frost stands on the apron next to Pierce and Belmont, shaking his head and mouthing to Konrad and Ginny Rabb, still on the outside.

Sharper: “Now let’s go backstage where Destiny Page is standing by.”

Destiny Page is backstage in the interview area.

Page: “Thank you Adam. Please welcome at this time, the new SCW World Tag Team Champions, Amelia Blythe and La Pequena Luz…Light in the Darkness!”

The crowd cheers as Luz and Amelia come into view, both proudly holding their World Tag Team Championship belts over their shoulders.

Page: “Luz, Amelia, back as World Tag Team Champions. After the crisis of confidence, to come out and defeat not only Team Desire, but also Twisted and Sadistic. You’re back on top. And back as champion.”

Luz: “Feels great to be back here and after all of the emotions we went through when Katie and Gigi beat us…did we react the best. No. But, we’re human. And we’ve come from situations in our careers where sometimes we push ourselves too hard. We want to be the best. Not just for ourselves, but all of our fans. And we felt we let them down, not once, but twice. Twice losing the title before a big match.”

Blythe: “But we rose to the occasion at Rise to Greatness. As we did at Retribution. No doubt this time though. We outlasted two teams. The two teams that had been synonymous with the tag division…except Dark Fantasy. And we hope everything is okay there with her career, her health. There are some questions there. But…we are now proudly champions again. I know we just heard a variation of this speech from Hudson, but we know there’s a target on our backs. And we know the tag division has only grown in competition.”

Luz: “Shinigami Foundation, Dangerous Minds, Body, Heart, and Soul, Shining Maidens, and we know the Cowgirls from Hell are still out there. And of course, Twisted & Sadistic and Team Desire won’t disappear.”

Blythe: “FAFO.”

Luz: “Yeah…and we’re ready for what’s next.”

Page: “Well what’s next for you Amelia, is Xander Valentine. A bit of a surprising match announced, but I know both you and Luz have had moments where you’ve had eyes on something more. Some singles success.”

Blythe: “And that’s exactly what this is. We have no plans to stop teaming and stop being the torchbearers for the tag division. But we also test ourselves in singles action. We’ve both held the TV Title. And maybe, we’re aiming for more. And Xander Valentine is across from me. Well…I know what he’s capable of and I hope he’s in for a competitive night. Because I also know what beating him can do. May the best wrestler win!”

Page: “Good luck Amelia and-“

David Striker and Chris Dumont then walk into view. Striker eyes them as does Dumont. Dumont turns to Striker as Striker nods.

Striker: “Just remember, we took out Team Desire. And we always look to make an impact.”

Blythe: “Step on up then.”

Striker smiles.

Striker: “Be careful what you wish for!”

Striker and Dumont go to head off. Dumont then turns to them.

Dumont: “Until then…any of you seen Gavin?”

They all shake their head. Dumont then turns and calmly walks off as the scene cuts to commercial.

Breakdown returns as we see Jaina Lancaster backstage in the SCW interview area.

Jaina: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Jaina Lancaster here and please welcome, at this time, The All-Star Gavin Taylor!”

Gavin Taylor steps into the scene and looks around. He just smiles as he nods.

Jaina: “You seem happy. You defeated JC and Chris Dumont at Rise to Greatness and you are coming off a big win. Can you keep it going this year or-“

Gavin: “Are you doubt me? Me?! Me…Gavin Taylor. Are you doubting me, Jaina?”

Jaina: “Just asking a question.”

Gavin: “Look, you can think what you want. I heard about JC. The Bogeyman. Big guy. Wants to kill Matthew Knox or something and I welcomed him to SCW. I stood up. I knocked him down. Kicked his ass-“

Jaina: “You stole the pin after Dumont hit him with his finisher-“

Gavin: “And I WON! That’s right. I won. Matthew Knox. You’re welcome. And don’t worry – I’m going to do you another favour. I’m a nice guy. Just trying to help out another veteran. Another man who is internationally renowned. Helping him get used to SCW. And while you fell short against Deanna….Look, JC probably was upset. That was an afterthought by me. So I’m going to make you all happy when I beat Deanna Frost tonight. Show you she’s not only beatable, but I’ll break her spirit. Just work fast to see about a rematch or something. Just helping out. And gaining wins. Because well…I need to remind everyone what I can do!”

Gavin smiles.

Gavin: “See you later Deanna!”

Gavin heads off as Jaina looks a bit surprised.

Jaina: “Back to the ring.”

Chris Lawler vs. Gigi Steward

“That's My Girl” plays throughout the arena as the stage and video screen goes dark. Gigi’s video plays on the screen and she steps out on to the stage wearing a black leather with tiny metal spikes on it and also a bandana covering her face. She walks up to the center of the stage and stretches her arms out embracing the fans support for her. She begins is march to the walk to the ring walking with a purpose. She gets to ringside and rushes into the ring rolling inside. She marches to the corner and hops on the middle ropes and throws out her own hand sign to the fans. She then rips off the bandana and tosses it into the crowd. Gigi hops off the ropes and takes off her jacket setting it aside for ring crew to pick up and she gets ready for her match.

Sharper: “And here is one half of your recent former tag team champions, Gigi Steward. She’ll be looking to pick up a win here to put herself back in the winner’s circle.”

Knots: “Twenty years, Sharper, and still going strong. A couple of veterans going to be looking to accomplish just that here tonight on Breakdown.”

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against thebackdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits.

As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features.

Knots: “And Chris Lawler with quite the entrance here tonight.”

Sharper: “A tough defeat at the hands of Waylon Creek will certainly have Chris Lawler looking to rebound. This promises to be a strong wrestling contest.”

The bell sounds as Lawler and Steward circle each other. Collar and elbow tie up, Lawler takes the upper hand. Steward tries to push him off but can’t do it. Over the hip toss by Lawler with a side headlock now. Steward fights to wriggle out. Finally, she scrapes her lower leg to the bottom rope.

Ref:1! Tw-

Kick out by Steward. Lawler calmly tries to pick Steward up but she drops to the canvas and chopblocks Lawler’s leg. While he’s down she delivers a stiff dropkick, sending him to the canvas hard.

Knots: “Lawler trying to impose his will in the early goings of this match but Gigi Steward showing some fight here.”

Sharper: “The plan is clear for both early on here but Gigi Steward is targeting the vertical base of a much more physical opponent!”

Steward grabs the knee of Chris Lawler and picks it up into the air before driving it into the mat. Lawler rolls over clutching his knee. Steward stomps at the knee again and again before the ref breaks it up as Chris grabs the bottom rope. Steward back to it now, getting to the ropes and lifting the affected leg up by the heel. Chris hops out with her, holding his hands up as Gigi executes a brilliant dragon screw takeover! She keeps the leg in her grips as she stands up, hitting a leg drop on the leg as she holds the foot. She locks on a side leg lock now, Lawler screaming out.

Knots: “A very different approach from the former tag team champion tonight and Chris Lawler is in a world of hurt!”

Sharper: “Different for her, but showing signs of her experience. Not quite the fight we’re used to seeing from her but she’s sure taking it to Chris Lawler here tonight.”

Lawler makes it to the bottom rope again. Steward backs off, lying in wait to strike again, The ref breaks it up. Lawler struggles to get his feet now, using the ropes to pull herself up. She attempts another chop block but Lawler stops her, picking her up in a gut wrench on one leg and slamming her to the mat! Lawler starts to shake it off a little bit. Steward rolls over. Chris with a few stiff blows to his opponent now. He sends her for a ride and clotheslines her down. Steward shoots to her feet, disoriented. Lawler lifts her up in a military press looking for the Fury Suplex, but Gigi slips out and tries to chop block the leg! Lawler had it scouted, lifting his leg up as Steward shoots underneath. Lawler hooks her in a waist lock and hits a bridging German suplex!

Kick out! As Steward rolls over, Chris picks her up but she slips out of his clutches and hits a backslide pin attempt!

Th- kick out by Lawler!

Knots: “The Princess almost stole that one there!”

Sharper: “Quick thinking by Gigi Steward and Chris was lucky to get out of that one — wait, inside cradle!”

Ref: 1!

3…NO! Lawler kicks out. Steward gets up quickly and charges Chris as he tries to get up. She knees him hard in the ribs before kicking at the affected leg. Chris looks annoyed as he tries to get up, Steward just kicking the leg out from underneath him. She grabs the leg and attempts to hurriedly turn him over in a single leg Boston crab, but Lawler kicks her off effortlessly with his free leg and uses the ropes to get up.

Knots: “Death by a thousand papercuts appears to be the name of the game and Gigi Steward is working her way towards elite status!”

Sharper: “Lawler may not have anticipated it before the night began but the grizzled veteran may well need an ice bath before the night ends.”

Steward comes in, again lunging for the leg, and she wraps her arms around it, attempting to jerk it out from under him. Lawler holds onto the top rope, delivering a few clubbing blows to the back of his opponent . She lets him go. Lawler on the offensive now, stumbling out of the corner, throwing a few stiff blows before slamming her down with a hard scoop slam. He grabs her by the arm and tries to get her up, but she grabs the bottom rope and won’t let him. The ref forces a break.

Knots: “Steward now having a little trouble with getting to the leg.”

Sharper: “Chris Lawler is smart. He’ll start playing damage control with it and he will mitigate her access to it.”

Steward stands up and finds herself caught in a headlock. She scurries out and slips behind. A brief entanglement results in Steward wrapping up the arms and legs of Lawler from behind, looking for a crucifix roll-up! Lawler fights the backwards momentum and shakes his head no, instead grabbing her head from behind and dropping her with a Krynonite Krunch! The crowd oh’s as Lawler uses Steward’s arm to lift her up. He puts her in position and nails her with the sit-out powerbomb!

Ref: 1!

The ref calls for the bell as Lawler rolls out, wincing. His hand is raised as the crowd cheers his victory.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Chris Lawler!”

Knots: “Impact driver out of nowhere and Sharper, that match was over the moment Chris was able to exert his power.”

Sharper: “It happened out of nowhere. Great performance by both athletes here tonight but Chris Lawler takes the W.”

Bree Lancaster is seen walking through the backstage hallways. She takes a few steps.

Amy: “Bree!”

Bree stops and turns as we see Amy Chastaine stepping out of a room. The crowd cheers seeing her. Bree heads over to her.

Bree: “Amy.”

Amy: “Have you found Blake yet?”

Bree: “Not yet. He told me-“

Amy: “Me too. Figured he’d just be a surprise but to go right after Josh.”

Bree: “When he didn’t need to…I’m going to find him and talk to him.”

Amy: “Just talking, right?”

Bree: “No. I don’t need back-up. Our tiff is long past. Just…I need to know what he’s thinking.”

Amy: “Just let me know.”

Bree: “You have your own ghost from the past to deal with.”

Amy: “Yeah…I know. At least another is hopefully dead and I hope buried.”

Bree: “Me too.”

Bree turns and heads off as the scene cuts to commercial.

Colleen MacDonald is shown on the SCWtron walking down one of the corridors wearing a pair of black pants and a strapless black top, looking like she has quite a bit on her mind. The crowd inside the bowl of the arena is mostly quiet, with some murmuring as she definitely looks hot and bothered. It doesn't take too long to find out why.

Colleen: “I'm not going to allow this to keep happening. I'm a woman of business and I want to progress forward. YUSA is just going to blow the opportunity anyways. She has no chance of beating YUYO or Leroy. No matter who she chooses to take on, she will fail. I will have a front row seat either way. Why? I am not going to sit idly by and let the Shining Maidens continue to pass me by. They all need to EARN their spot here. Pulling a rope down is NOT the way to do that. Pulling a rope down is the coward way out.”

The look in her dark eyes is ominous as she comes to an intersection in the corridor. She chooses to go to the left, which is where an SCW cameraman picks her up. Upon seeing him, Colleen breaks her trance, stops walking, and glares directly right into the lens.

Colleen: “I bet you are SO proud of yourself, huh YUSA? You won't be proud soon enough. And as far as you go David? Look, I know you're on my side, but this is my business to deal with and not yours. I can tell what you are doing and I know you are just trying to be chivalrous, but I don't need a knight in shining armor. That's Aisling's thing, not mine. I'm a woman that can and will stand on my own. I can't have and don't want to have any distractions. Nor should you.”

She turns back to her left but the cameraman keeps his camera focused on her, even though he is a bit nervous.

Colleen: “Please don't follow me. I have work to do. A lot of it.”

Colleen begins to walk away but the cameraman follows her. She senses him behind her, turns back, and scowls at him. The camera shakes a bit up on his shoulder as he decides to go in the opposite direction. Colleen rolls her eyes and now just stands there.

The SCWtron cuts away from the scene and the cameras go to Sharper and Knots.

Knots: “Hmm, I don't like the sound of that. Definitely frustrated from Rise to Greatness weekend.”

Sharper: “I don't think YUSA or David Striker will like the sound of that either. But sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Honestly all three members of Body, Heart, and Soul know they have what it takes to be champions.”

Knots: “And they all have or are facing roadblocks.”

Sharper: “Yup.”

SYREN CLARIFIES HER SITUATION WHILE NOTING HER CONTRACT WAS EXPIRING BUT SHE IS BACK WITH SCW. THIS SEGMENT WILL BE ADDED WHEN THE HANDLER SUBMITS IT, HOPEFULLY TOMORROW.

Jaina smiles as she stands next to Alex “CHBK” Desoubrais.

Jaina: “Thank you Adam. First off, CHBK, reaction to what we just heard from Syren.”

CHBK: “Great to have her still around. Good to hear she’s in good health. I know she’s going to have a few who will take issue with anything she does, but SCW is better with Syren in it.”

Jaina: “Fair enough. We look forward to what may happen with Syren and LexyCorp in coming weeks. But, I wanted to get your thoughts on the Enigma situation. As we’re showing here…”

RISE TO GREATNESS PRESHOW:

We open in the ring where Jessica Winters has struck Deanna Frost with her US Championship. Just then, Jessica Winters turns as we see not black mist, but clearly smoke. The Enigma smiles before then stepping up and grabbing Jessica Winters and driving her down with the Cryptic Slam. The crowd ohs. The Enigma then smiles as he extends his arms. The lights go out. Fans instinctively pull out their cell phones as lights pop up all over the arena. The crowd buzzes as the lights remain out for a few moments before just then, we see flames starting to appear on the ring.

Jaina: “Jessica Winters attacked Deanna Frost, seemingly turning on her, or being reactivated or something by the Enigma. The Enigma attacked her and then suddenly flames in the ring, on the stage, hoping to potentially destroy Deanna and maybe Jessica. You can see this playing out here.”

The flames grow as the lights return. The Enigma is gone but we then see the flames growing. Jessica and Deanna are down in the ring. Lucas Knight gets up and runs over to the ring as a crew member lifts up the ring skirt and we see a clear fire under the ring. Knight turns, starting to move people away from the ring. He then runs over to the ring and reaches in and grabs Jessica and pulls her out. The crowd roars as we hear an explosion as then flames shoot out of part of the entrance set, but we notice a cloth has been pulled over two of the pyro holes. The result is that the cloth starts to go alight as the flames start to creep up the entrance way. We see Knight reaching in with the help of the official in pulling Deanna out. Lucas then turns to security, telling them to start to get people away from the ring. The Rise to Greatness XXI logo comes up on the screen.

We return live as CHBK nods.

CHBK: “So as was revealed back at Rise to Greatness, the fire marshall was involved. At this point in the investigation, Jessica Winters, we understand has been arrested as she is viewed as involved in some way.”

Jaina: “Really?”

CHBK: “She was under the ring. She clearly was working with him. We’re merely following what the investigators are saying here. Meanwhile, the Enigma, we cannot find him. We don’t believe he is physically here. We don’t know where he is. His address in his employee record is apparently fabricated. And at this point, I have no option, until this is figured all out, to suspend him. I’ll suspend Jessica Winters too. And we hope to have it all sorted out. But they are not welcome at SCW shows. You do not threaten the fans. Simple as that. That was reckless and dangerous and we will not tolerate it.”

Deanna then suddenly comes into view.

Deanna: “Whoa, whoa…you’re just suspending him. No…no…I…and Jessica she-“

CHBK: “Deanna, this is out of my control.”

Deanna: “The Enigma tried to take ME out. I was in the ring. I was who Jessica attacked and Jessica…”

Deanna turns away, clearly trying to still make sense of things

Jaina: “Deanna? Have you slept since Rise to Greatness?”

Deanna: “I’m fine! Just…fine!”

CHBK: “Deanna-“

Deanna: “If I have to take the fight to him. I’ll resolve this. I will.”

Deanna turns and heads off.

CHBK: “Deanna!”

CHBK sighs as Deanna storms off. The scene fades out.

Scott Reed is getting ready in his locker room backstage. He starts to go through his gear before there’s a knock at the door. Reed ignores it as we see Chris Lawler heading over to the door. He then looks at the door before Polly Pingotti responds, standing on the other side.

Polly: “Is Scott here?”

Lawler just motions. He watches her come in before Lawler turns and pauses a moment before just shaking his head and exiting the locker room.

Polly: “Scott…”

Reed ignores her.

Polly: “Scott!”

Reed snaps out of things and looks up.

Polly: “Scott…I need…”

She sighs.

Polly: “Rise to Greatness. You could’ve pinned me. Kept me down and-“

Reed: “My issue was with Kirsten Scott. And you…you got her down. But I wanted to make sure you knew you didn’t lose. You got a bad break if anything.”

Polly: “You didn’t have to and I don’t need help-“

Reed: “It’s not help. It’s an acknowledgement. You deserve to be where you are. I hope you break through the glass ceiling. Sucks seeing people like Selena Frost controlling things. Even now.”

Polly: “Damn right about it.”

Reed: “Yeah…and sorry.”

Polly: “Why?”

Reed: “I won. I know you wanted it.”

Polly: “Well, at some point, I need to take it. So I’m glad the favour ended there.”

Polly turns and heads off. Reed watches her leave as Polly opens the door and leaves the locker room.

Sapphire vs. Chase Upshaw

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall.  Introducing first, from Durham, North Carolina, he is CHASE UPSHAW!

“United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama,

Haiti, Jamaica, Peru,

Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean,

Greenland, El Salvador, too.”

Nations of the World by Rob Paulson plays. Chase Upshaw makes his way onto the stage shouting and cursing as loud as he can. The camera and microphones catch some of the curse words, causing the networks to bleep him out.

“Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela,

Honduras, Guyana, and still,

Guatemala, Bolivia, then Argentina,

And Ecuador, Chile, Brazil.”

Chase starts to march his way down to the ring, flipping off a few fans along the way and mocking their complete and total lack of Geography knowledge.

“Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua, Bermuda,

Bahamas, Tobago, San Juan,

Paraguay, Uruguay, Suriname,

And French Guiana, Barbados, and Guam.”

Chase Upshaw slides into the ring and prepares for the match to begin.

“Smile” by Avril Lavigne plays as we see Sapphire Taylor run out from the back. She looks around and backs along the stage, scanning the crowd. She then turns back to the ramp and runs down to the ring. The crowd cheers.

Phillips: “And his opponent from Mt. Diablo, California, she is…SAPPHIRE TAYLOR!”

Sapphire runs down and slides into the ring. She flips up to her feet and looks around before turning around and Chase Upshaw slaps Sapphire across the face.

Chase Upshaw: “WHAT IS THE CAPITAL OF NORTH DAKOTA?!”

Sapphire reacts with a slap of her own followed by an arm drag, a second arm drag, and then a whip into the corner.

Sharper: “Sapphire Taylor making her debut and getting a rude welcome from another man making his debut in Chase Upshaw!”

Sapphire with a dropkick into the corner to Chase.  He staggers out and she connects with a dropsault.  Sapphire with a swinging neck breaker.  She immediately goes into a cover…

1…

Kickout!

Sapphire goes for another neck breaker but Chase counters with a Mediterranean Neck Breaker.  He pulls her to her feet and drops her with The Florida Peninsula Pump Handle Slam.  He locks in The Saskatchewan Knee Bar.

Sharper: “This is turning into an interesting one. A knee bar-“

Knots: “No! It’s a Saskatchewan Knee Bar. Perfected in the prairies!

Sapphire eventually reaches the ropes to force the break.  Chase gets in the referee’s face and shouts curses at him…not really questioning the integrity of the rope break but questioning the referee’s knowledge of what a peninsula was…Chase turns and notices Sapphire rising back to her feet.  He goes for The Arctic Circle Spin Kick but she ducks it and lands an enziguri.  She follows that up with a flying forearm.

Sharper: “And flying forearm. Down goes Upshaw.”

Knots: “Does he know where he is still?”

Sapphire with a rolling sobat.  Chase staggers back and tumbles through the ropes and to the apron.  Sapphire with another rolling sobat and he goes to the outside.  Sapphire charges and delivers a suicide dive through the ropes and takes out Chase before hitting a double stomp to Chase’s gut on the outside.

Sharper: “All of the weight. The double stomp to the torso of Upshaw.”

Knots: “He’s going to find out where his food from earlier today is going!”

Sapphire rolls Chase Upshaw back into the ring.  She hits the ropes and connects with a running shooting star press.  She covers, hooking a leg…

1…

2…Kickout!

Sapphire with another swinging neck breaker.  She goes for a slingshot somersault senton but Chase rolls out of the way just in time.  Upshaw with a Russian Knee Strike followed by an Australian Outback Arm Drag.  Chase with the Arctic Circle Spin Kick.  He covers…

1…

2…Kickout!

Now Chase is furious and argues with the referee over the count.  Meanwhile Sapphire is slowly recovering.  Chase turns around just in time to see her go for another rolling sobat kick but Chase avoids it this time.  Chase connects with another Arctic Circle Spin Kick!  He goes for the cover, hooking the leg…

1…

2…

…3!

The bell sounds.

Sharper: “I don’t believe it!”

Phillips: “Here is you winner, via pinfall, Chase Upshaw!”

Knots: “Yes! Right here in Dallas!”

Sharper: “Get a gold star. Chase Upshaw with an upset against Sapphire Taylor. Both debuting and Upshaw with that spin kick getting the job done.”

Upshaw gets up and smiles. The official raises his arm as he looks around and nods. He then falls over to the ropes.

Upshaw: “Right here in Dallas! Oh yeah!”

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays. We then cut to show a still from Rise to Greatness XXI showing Waylon Creek locking in the Canary on Kimberly Williams with his left hand on the floor.

Sharper: “Folks, next, TV Title on the line. And it may be a bit more personal. Marie Jones will challenge Waylon Creek.”

Knots: “And maybe get some revenge for Kimberly Williams! Waylon Creek, for some reason, attacking her at Rise to Greatness!”

Sharper: “Jones versus Creek, next!”

The scene fades out.

Backstage, Breakdown returns from commercial to see Bree Lancaster and Blake Mason talking in one of the hallways. Mason now is in one of his suits.

Bree: “Look, I appreciate you keeping me in the loop, but Josh-“

Mason: “Bree…that should be a surprise. I have had one goal. I’ve made it clear for a long time. Josh is the one holding it.”

Bree: “It puts me in a –“

Mason: “No it doesn’t. Unless you want to be in a hard spot. You’re the one who says it…settle it in the ring. And when I get my shot. Whenever that is. Then we’ll see what happens whether it’s against Josh or whoever else. I just merely staked my claim.”

Mason pauses.

Mason: “I’m going to let the cards fall where they may. But this time, I plan on making sure when it comes time for me to play, I’m holding the right ones.”

Mason stops again.

Mason: “Anything to lecture me on?”

Bree: “Blake…”

Mason: “Now… focus on your own issues. I know you’re not here just to chase me all night.”

Mason turns and walks off. Bree watches him leave as Breakdown cuts to the ring.

Marie Jones vs. Waylon Creek

SCW Television Championship

"You and I walk a fragile line
I have known it all this time
But I never thought I'd live to see it break
It's getting dark and its all too quiet
And I can't trust anything now
And its comin' over you like its all a big mistake"

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, the challenger, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Phoenix, Marie Jones!”

"Holding my breathe, won't lose you again
Something's made your eyes go cold"

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the arena.  Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring. As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story.  Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring.  She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd.

Sharper: “Marie Jones stepping up here, looking to be a record-setting four time TV Champion. And in the process, getting some revenge for her sister, Kim, after Waylon attacked her suddenly, and for reasons we still don’t know at Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “Did Kim knock over some papers of his? Or did she just walk past him and Waylon hated it?!”

The sound and image of a babbling brook overtake the PA and screen. Shortly after, a man dressed in a suit flickers onto the screen, standing in the middle of the creek, facing away from the camera. “Mountain Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens comes over the system, and from behind curtain emerges a muscular figure in a skull mask, adorned by torn up flannels, being led by a black lab on a leash.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Wailing Creek, Idaho, he is the SCW Television Champion, Waylon Creek!”

The dog leads the way as Waylon Creek, carrying the SCW Television Championship, follows close behind, looking around the arena. He hands the dog off to a stage hand when he gets to the ring and appears to say something to the dog. The dog sits calmly as Creek enters the ring up the steps. He calmly goes to his corner without any posing. He hands his title to Jennifer Cassidy, the official, who promptly holds it over her head. The SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Waylon Creek out here and notably without William Heaven, who we saw join him after his match against Chris Lawler.”

Knots: “Are they together? Are they not? Why is he just getting more and more mysterious?”

Creek looks at Jones as the bell sounds. Jones then runs across the ring and nails Creek with a hard forearm and then another and another. The crowd roars as Jones gets Creek back into the corner. Jones then kicks him in the ribs and then kicks him over and over and over again. Creek slides down to a seated position as the crowd roars.

Jones: “Want to just jump her? Huh! How does it feel?!”

Creek pulls himself up and Jones then runs up and dropkicks him in the jaw. Creek’s head snaps back and he spins around the ropes and over to the next corner.

Sharper: “Jones all over Creek!”

Knots: “And even jawing at him. Jones wants to kick his ass! Not just take the title!”

Jones runs over and nails him with a hard right and then kicks him again. She repeats what she did before, kicking at him in the ribs, getting him down to a seated position after repeated kicks.

Jones goes down as the crowd boos. Jones gets back up, coughing and turns around and Creek nails her with another hard right. Jones staggers back and into the corner. Creek follows up and forearm shivers her in the jaw. Jones’s head snaps back. Creek nails her again. He then whips her across the ring. Jones hits the corner as Creek runs after and Jones gets a boot up. Creek staggers out. Jones runs out and hits a flying headscissors. Creek rolls to his back and starts to get up.

Sharper: “Jones counters here. Creek started to get some offense, but Marie stops him!”

Knots: “And then takes him over. And if Creek is thinking he’ll get a good sense of what facing Kim is like from Marie, he may want to rethink that.”

Creek gets up and Marie kicks him in the ribs. She goes to whip him into the ropes, but Creek plants his feet and pulls her into an elbow. Marie stumbles over to the ropes. Creek then heads over and grabs her and just muscles her over with a single arm suplex. Marie rolls over. She stirs and Creek grabs her and hits a snap back suplex. He then goes for the pin.

Marie however slides, stopping herself from going into the corner. She gets up and Creek turns and heads towards her, but Marie jumps up and hits a spinning back kick to the jaw. Creek hits the mat. Marie turns and hits a standing moonsault into a pin.

Creek kicks out. Marie then turns and nails him with a series of hard right hands as the crowd erupts. Creek covers up as Marie pounds on his head.

Sharper: “And Marie Jones hammering away on Waylon Creek!”

Knots: “Creek covering up!”

Sharper: “Marie teeing off!”

Marie pushes off and gets up and walks around the ring. Creek rolls over and turns and Marie runs at him and hits a running dropkick to the head. Creek falls back. Marie goes for the pin, hooking both legs.

Creek kicks out again. He turns and starts to get up as Marie grabs him and runs him into the corner, driving him face first into the turnbuckle. She then goes to kick him in the ribs. She gets two kicks in, before Creek catches the third. He glares at Marie before he lifts her leg up, throwing her back. Marie rolls over and Creek runs at her and drills her with a clothesline, following her down to the mat.

Sharper: “My God, what a clothesline. A lariat, to the jaw.”

Knots: “And followed her down. Well, Creek’s returning the favour after the pummeling!”

Creek starts to choke Marie.

Marie kicks out. Marie rolls over and Creek grabs her by the hair and clubs her violently in the back. Marie falls to a knee. Creek then elbows her in the back of the head before dragging her up. He then scoops her up and slams her down before raking his boot across her face. Marie rolls over and stirs as Creek then walks over to her and grabs her. Marie however suddenly hits a jawbreaker. She runs to the ropes, jumping off the middle rope and backflipping back, catching Creek’s head and hitting a reverse DDT.

Sharper: “Marie fighting back. Off the ropes. That springboard backflip DDT!”

Knots: “We’ve not seen Creek pushed like this. Lawler went right at him and nearly beat him. Marie had to watch that and go, I can do that too!”

Sharper: “And we don’t know how Creek’s hand feels. He’s using it, but as a strike. The question is the Canary!”

Creek stirs as Marie then watches him as he gets up to a knee and Marie runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a shining wizard. The crowd roars. Marie rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Creek gets his shoulder up. Marie rolls over and starts to get up. Creek stirs as Marie exits to the apron. She then climbs up to the top rope. She waits as Creek starts to get up and Marie watches him as he runs at her. Marie jumps over and somersaults through. She turns and runs at Creek, but Creek lifts her up and drops her violently on the top rope. Marie staggers back and falls to the mat. She holds her throat and Creek crawls over to her and grabs her. They get up together and Creek pumphandles Jones again before hoisting her up and then dropping her with a pumphandle flapjack into the top rope. Marie’s head snaps back again. Creek rolls over and moves to the ropes.

Sharper: “Twice on the top rope! Creek going for the throat of Marie!”

Knots: “And making sure that Marie’s entire weight ended up on those ropes.”

Marie slowly stirs, grabbing at the throat. She staggers up and Creek steps up and looks at his right hand before moving to his left and locking in the Canary. The crowd roars as Marie struggles and Creek pushes her back.

The bell sounds as the crowd roars. Creek continues to lean on Marie, but we see Kimberly Williams run down and slide in, refusing to even let Creek continuing and just bowls him over. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “Waylon Creek has won! But Creek had the hold on.”

Knots: “The bell just rang?!”

Sharper: “And Kim wasn’t going to find out what Creek had in mind! And she’s hammering away on Waylon Creek!”

Kim turns and dives onto Creek, nailing him with repeated right hands, over and over. Creek covers up as Kim keeps hammering away. The bell sounds again as the official tries to get her off. Marie turns, coughing, before the crowd boos loudly and we see James Evans running out from the back. He runs down from the back and slides into the ring. As he does, we see William Heaven walking down from the back, calmly.

Sharper: “And James Evans! Evans coming down and Evans and Williams resolved nothing at Rise to Greatness!”

Knots: “They’ll try to destroy each other until the end of time!”

Sharper: “And wait…there’s Heaven. Williams Heaven now coming to the ring.”

Evans gets up as Kim looks up and James nails her with a clothesline. Kim rolls over and turns and reaches up and swings wildly. James takes a shot and fires back. Kim nails him again and they trade blows as Waylon Creek slowly crawls to the ropes and starts to get up. He then notices Heaven at ringside. Heaven waits as James then starts to knee Kim in the corner, nailing her over and over again as the crowd erupts as Leroy Adams steps out from the back. He throws the Underground Title down and runs to the ring.

Sharper: “And here comes Leroy Adams! Adams coming down!”

Knots: “And he owes Kim. Kim bankrolled him the last few weeks before Rise to Greatness!”

Sharper: “The new Underground Champion in!”

Leroy gets up as Marie starts to stir, fighting up to go for James. Creek starts to get up and Leroy turns and just then, Heaven smacks the mat and looks at him. Leroy turns to him and looks down before Marie gets up and steps forward to help Kim, but Leroy runs at her and nails her with the Natty Light Lariat. The crowd erupts and then boos.

Sharper: “What the hell was that?! Leroy Adams just drilled Marie!”

Leroy stops at the corner. James turns and looks around. Heaven just smiles as Creek gets up. James sends Kim out and into Leroy who nails her with an elbow to the head and then another and another before Leroy shoves her at James Evans who hoists her up onto his shoulders and turns and hits the Mark of Ruin on Kim. The crowd boos loudly as Kim and Marie are laid out. Leroy looks down at Marie and then Kim. Waylon steps forward as Heaven applauds getting into the ring.

Sharper: “William Heaven entering the ring. James Evans, Leroy Adams, and Waylon Creek standing tall. Over Twin Magic.”

Knots: “Kim trusted Leroy and…”

Sharper: “Look at this. Leroy…James! They’re shaking Heaven’s hand!”

Creek looks on as Heaven extends his hand to Leroy Adams. Adams shakes it. The crowd boos loudly as Heaven then turns and looks at James Evans and shakes his hand. The crowd boos louder. Kim and Marie stir as Creek looks at Adams and Evans. The three men then stand looking at one another as Heaven smiles and the scene fades to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see William Heaven walking through the security checkpoint and into the parking area. The camera spins to show a limousine. In it, we see Leroy Adams standing outside of it.

Heaven: “Come on, there. You know this is worth it. No more pay per appearance for you. I’m going to make sure you’re taken care of. Waylon and James already in?”

Leroy: “That they are. Just-“

Heaven: “Don’t doubt it. You took the first step. Now…let me show what else I can do.”

Heaven walks over to the door as Leroy steps in. Heaven then smirks as he steps inside and closes the door behind him. The limousine then starts to drive off.

The arena darkens before:

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan

The Nyan cat appears on the screen, with the crowd popping. The cat in a poptart, farting rainbows steers around and breaks right into the screen, showing a window crack before breaking. At that moment, “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL’s opening riffs plays, and the girls' voice count:

One-Two
One-Two-Three-Four!

Out pops YUYO from behind the curtains and she thrusts the SCW Adrenaline Championship in the air. The crowd roars. Bright white light now shines down on the stage, following YUYO. Mister Meowkazawa follows her to stand behind her. A moment later, her fellow Shining Maidens of SCW members join her as well. NEMO and SAWA pose at either side of YUYO. Finally YUSA steps forward and joins them, standing a few strides back.

Sharper: “The Shining Maidens had an amazing Rise to Greatness weekend. NEMO and SAWA defeated the Shinigami Foundation; YUSA won an Adrenaline or Underground Championship shot. And YUYO is now the SCW Adrenaline Champion!”

Knots: “Talk about a coming out weekend for them. People are talking about the future of SCW and that future has these four women in it.”

YUYO steps up to the top of the ramp and places her hands on her hips. Meowkazawa hands her the magical staff, Gríðarvölr. She spins the staff around with a display of talent, the long purple and white ribbons attached to the staff’s end flash. When she stops, she thrusts one hand forward while holding the staff behind her back.

YUYO: “HA!”

YUYO springs down the ramp, staff in hand, she tosses it into the ring as she slides in under the bottom rope. She pops to her feet, picks up the staff again in a single stride, and then straight to the corner. She holds the staff like a gun and aims towards the ceiling, “BANG! BANG!”. Mr. Meowkazawa catches up to her, taking the staff while she remains in the corner. She points to the sky, “FOREVER!”. SAWA echoes YUYO's call while NEMO stands stoically off to the side. YUYO runs to the next corner and repeats, “FOREVER!”. She hops off the corner with a superhero landing! SAWA, NEMO and YUSA stand in the ring, having entered after YUYO’s display. She turns back as Mr. Meowkazawa is handed a microphone. He takes it and walks to the middle of the ring. He looks around.

Meowkazawa: “Behold! The Shining Maidens are here, not only as role models, not only as victors, but as a champion!”

YUYO throws the Adrenaline Championship up in the ai.

Meowkazawa: “The finest fighters, who fight for truth and justice!”

ALL: “For justice!”

YUYO smiles as YUSA, NEMO, and SAWA respond. YUSA smiles as she looksa round.

Meowkazawa: “They started Rise to Greatness weekend fighting the wickedness of the Shinigami Foundation, undoing their horrid acts, and instead, bringing the fight to them, and showing that the evil never prosper.”

The camera focuses on NEMO and SAWA.

Meowkazawa: “And then Brilliant Sun Princess YUSA, who returned to the fold of the Shining Maidens, was given a mission…a mission of victory. And she did not disappoint.”

YUSA smiles, proudly.

Meowkazawa: “And then YUYO. Our Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO took on the challenge of Bree Lancaster and won the Adrenaline Championship!”

The crowd cheers. Meowkazawa focuses on YUYO as YUYO hold the title up again. He goes to continue, but YUYO then cuts him off.

Meowkazawa: “YUYO has-“

YUYO grabs the microphone and steps forward.

YUYO: “YUYO eliminated the evil that was the triumvirate of destruction that Bree Lancaster set up with the Shinigami Foundation. The three had to be working together. It was too perfect. Too together, and through the power of truth, love, friendship, and JUSTICE…An EXPLOSION of greatness occurred!”

Japanese lettering and the English word “EXPLOSION!” come up on the screen. Meanwhile, Meowkazawa shakes his head as NEMO looks down. SAWA looks on, while YUSA seemingly nods going along with YUYO.

YUYO: “Nothing can stop our power. NEMO and SAWA, despite the scary and mean ways you put forward…make your threats and we will endure! Just like you Bree! You thought you could get past me. You could keep me down. You could keep it quiet. You were slick. You and the Shinigamis did not meet as far as I could find. The internet wasn’t much helpful, but I KNOW. I know…it was to bring me down again. But I am now the third best wrestler in SCW. Taking Hold of the Flame proved it. And now, I am the second best singles champion! Because I outlasted everyone but your lovey-dovey cootie ridden boyfriend, Bree! Yeah! Cooties! No good EXPLOSIONS there!”

The Japanese letter returns as the English word “EXPLOSION!” comes up on the screen again. Meowkazawa tries to get YUYO to stop. But she ignores him.

YUYO: “The Shining Maidens are just getting started!”

Knots: “YUYO is getting drunk with success!”

Sharper: “We know she left defeated. We saw some of this with Marie and others. YUYO has a vengeful streak.”

Knots: “And she’s got a bit of an ego.”

YUYO: “The prelude of Justice has just finished. The main show is here. And YUYO has one more proud moment to share.”

YUYO turns and looks at YUSA.

YUYO: “Brilliant Sun Princess YUSA…Rise!”

YUSA looks around before looking down, realizing she’s still standing, and instead stepping forward.

YUYO: “As Meowkazawa says, you were given a mission, a quest. A ROYAL quest.”

YUYO looks at YUSA.

YUYO: “You want to be a Shining Maiden, you needed to win. And you won!”

YUYO extends her arms and then holds out her staff.

YUYO: “And therefore, YUSA…I dub thee a Shining Maiden and a true ally in our quest…”

YUYO then taps YUSA on both shoulders, essentially knighting her.

YUYO: “FOR JUSTICE!”

YUYO thrusts the staff up as YUSA smiles.

YUSA: “For justice!”

YUYO: “Everyone!”

NEMO, SAWA & YUSA: “For justice!”

YUYO: “For justice!”

YUYO thrusts her staff and the SCW Adrenaline Championship up in the air as “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL plays.

Sharper: “YUSA now officially part of the Shining Maidens. YUYO on top of the world.”

Knots: “Almost with unlimited power. Don’t let it corrupt!”

Sharper: “Then again, YUYO has always had her heart on her sleeve. She’s a champion. She’s happy. She’s maybe a bit over the top.”

Knots: “She accused Bree of being part of a conspiracy!”

Sharper: “Okay, so a lot over the top. But she is our new Adrenaline Champion, and not only that, she and the Maidens have had an amazing start so far in SCW.”

The cameras focus on YUYO before panning out, showing YUSA next to her. We then see Meowkazawa, SAWA and NEMO. NEMO, however, is looking at YUSA. The camera continues to pan out before the scene fades out.

Backstage, we see Marie Jones in her locker room. Angelica Jones is with her.

Angelica: “Mar-“

The door slams open as Kimberly Williams steps into the room. She then runs her hand through her hair.

Angelica: “Kim…you need-“

Kim: “Every time with that son of a bitch, James. Can’t I just kill him and be done with it?!”

Angelica: “That’s not what’s bothering you.”

Kim: “What? That he won’t take the hint. That I get jumped by a Putty from Power Rangers…you know, I always thought Tommy would be more. He was such an asshole to start-“

Marie: “Kim!”

Kim: “Trying to add some levity here. I’m supposed to be the smiling psychopath!”

Angelica: “You don’t have to hide-“

Kim: “I just wanted to be done with him…and Leroy…”

Kim walks over, suddenly calm, and sits next to WASLEY. She then seems to be listening.

Kim: “I know WASLEY. We helped him out. And we thought he could carry the banner. Just like Eavan. But…”

Marie: “You don’t need to defend it any more-“

Kim: “What stops him from just giving it to James? I may talk to a stuffed penguin and staple people in the ass Marie, but I’m not going to let him destroy everything I’ve worked for. And Leroy…look, it’s not the money. But…”

Marie: “Kim…there is a difference. I’m here. Right from the start. And if they’re going to do this, side by side, if they want to take on Twin Magic. Even if it’s just to piss us off-“

Angelica: “Not just Twin Magic. The Jones Family is here.”

Kim: “Then let’s crack some skulls. WASLEY too!”

Kim smiles, almost deranged as she holds up WASLEY and the scene cuts away.

COMMRECIALS

Backstage, we see the Shining Maidens with Mr. Meowkazawa walking backstage. YUSA is talking to YUYO. YUSA’s security team is a few strides behind them.

YUSA: “Thank you for giving me a chance, YUYO. I just hop I can continue to live up to your lofty goals.”

NEMO: “Just remember loyalty is among them.”

YUSA turns back.

YUSA: “Of course!”

YUYO: “See NEMO. She understands. She’s a true Maiden. Through and through-“

SAWA: “Uh, YUYO…”

YUYO: “Oh SAWA, you need to relax and-“

Bree Lancaster walks over to them as SAWA points at her. YUYO turns and then immediately gets into a fighting stance.

YUYO: “Get back! You’re here for revenge-“

Bree: “I don’t know what I’m here for. This already has been a long night for me, but here that conspiracy again…I have nothing to do with the Shinigami Foundation. What would I have ever done to make you believe that….”

Bree sighs. She shakes her head.

Bree: “I don’t even know why I’m defending myself to you. You’ve made up your mind. And it’s just disappointing-“

YUYO: “Not as disappointing as you working with-“

Bree: “I’m not working with them!”

Bree sighs.

Bree: “You need to step up and grow up YUYO. The claims you’re making…you’re a champion…for now. Because remember, I have a rematch for that. And I’m not done with that title. I’m far from-“

YUSA: “And I have an opportunity for that title too.”

YUSA steps up. At this point, YUSA’s personal security team steps forward to flank YUSA and YUYO. NEMO turns to Meowkazawa and SAWA. YUYO however looks on as YUSA stands in front of her and in Bree’s face.

YUSA: “You’re not the only option. And maybe, what’s best for SCW, for YUYO, and the Maidens, is for you, whatever you represent, to be kept away from it.”

Bree looks at YUSA.

Bree: “If you plan to stop me, then do it. Again, I’m not hard to find if there’s an issue. I go to the ring. YUYO, I’ll be there waiting for face you. And if you’re in my way, YUSA…I’ll be there too.”

Bree turns and heads off. YUSA smirks as she turns around and suddenly realizes what she did. The guards follow her.

YUSA: “Oh, don’t worry. I have no desire to take your title, YUYO. Just standing up for you!”

YUYO steps up and hugs her. NEMO and SAWA watch this as Meowkazawa leers.

YUYO: “Thank you. You get it.”

YUYO smiles and then glances to where Bree went before leading the group away.

Matthew Knox vs. Ryan LeCavalier

The arena is quiet, with a palpable sense of expectancy in the air as the lights go off. An ethereal blue glow is projected onto the entry ramp by a lone floodlight that breaks through the darkness. The crowd trembles with eagerness as L'Impératrice's "A View to a Kill" pulsates synthesizers burst the stillness.

A silhouette appears out of the darkness, clad in a shimmering silver cloak that seems to both reflect and absorb the light. The coat flutters about her as she moves, giving her enticing peeks of the wrestling gear in silver and black underneath. Her face is hidden behind a mask of steely resolve, framed by the hood.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada by way of Miami, Florida, she is The Lost Momarch… Ryan LeCavalier!”

The moment Ryan LeCavalier, as "The Lost Monarch," removes her hood and shows off her icy-focused eyes, the audience screams. At the top of the ramp, she stops and looks out over the crowd like a queen assessing her subjects. She steps down into the ring and gracefully makes her way to the turnbuckle, removing her cloak like a snake might remove its skin. With her eyes fixed on the stage where her opponent will soon emerge, she slides in her mouthguard, completing her transformation. The arena is bustling with the unsaid promise of a great battle to come, and the air is crackling with suspense.

Sharper: “Ryan LeCavalier didn’t have the Rise to Greatness she was hoping to have, taking her first loss since arriving in SCW on the pre-show at the hands of Marie Jones.”

Knots: “A tough loss for sure, but she has a chance to bounce back tonight in a big way. That said, the same can be said of her opponent, who we know is feeling anything but happy tonight.”

The houselights cut out, a single Raven cries out soon joined by another, then another until the cries of an entire unkindness fill the house sound system, soon broken by "Hell Broke Luce" by Tom Waits cutting through, the house lights coming up to a dull blue as a single white strobe light pulses in time to the song's percussion. Standing in the middle of that pulsing light, back to the ring, stands Matthew Knox adorned in his ring gear and a sleeveless hoodie.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, he is The Raven… Matthew Knox!”

Arms outstretched like a bird in flight he pivots on a heel and begins making his way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and picking a corner to charge and leap upon to scream the audience into a frenzy. He takes a lap around the ring, before kneeling in a corner and patiently waiting for the ringbell to sound.

Sharper: “Matthew Knox thought he’d be walking into Breakdown tonight as the new United States Champion, but unfortunately Deanna Frost managed to hold him off.”

Knots: “Give the assist to JC, though! Knox has been trying to move on from him, but The Bogeyman living up to his name!”

Sharper: “Earlier tonight, we heard Gavin Taylor, who actually pinned JC at Rise to Greatness, claim he’d help Knox out by beating Deanna here tonight, but I have a feeling Knox would prefer a win right here and now over LeCavalier so he can try to put himself right back into title contention.”

The bell rings as both Knox and LeCavalier slowly approach one another, LeCavalier appearing to look confident while Knox looks angry. They go to lock up, but LeCavalier ducks underneath and slips behind Knox. She starts looking for a waistlock, but Knox throws a back elbow that she manages to duck under before grabbing his arm and twisting it into a hammerlock. She tries to sweep his leg, but Knox kicks the back of her ankle to prevent it before ducking down and using the momentum to throw her over his shoulder and out of the hammerlock. LeCavalier recovers quickly and lunges at Knox to apply a headlock, but he quickly lifts her up for a back suplex to break it, only for LeCavalier to backflip out of it and back to her feet. She tries to catch him with a kick to his side as he’s turning, but Knox grabs her foot, making her eyes go wide as she looks up at him before he pulls her close and hurls her across the ring with an exploder suplex!

Sharper: “Ryan trying to get into Knox’s head so she can get him to the mat and wrestle her match, but he’s having none of that tonight.”

Knots: “Between the U.S. Title loss to Deanna at Rise to Greatness, JC still haunting him and Gavin’s comments from earlier, Knox is definitely in a foul mood tonight and I wouldn’t want to be Ryan LeCavalier right now!”

LeCavalier gets back to her feet, only to eat a running knee strike from Knox! She falls back against the ropes and he begins lighting her up with a mixture of forearm strikes and muay thai kicks, Ryan doing her best to cover up. Referee Steve Hollinsworth moves in and starts counting, warning Knox to let LeCavalier out of the ropes or he’ll be disqualified. Knox simply turns to glare at him, causing Hollinsworth to hold up his hands and remind him that he’s just doing his job. He turns back to LeCavalier and moves in again, but she grabs his waist and uses his momentum to throw him through the ropes! Knox catches himself and remains on the apron, and as he pulls himself up and tries to get back through, LeCavalier catches him with a knee strike that stuns him! Knox hangs there, draped across the middle rope, and LeCavalier sneers down at him before running off the adjacent ropes and catching him with a yakuza kick to the side of the head! He falls back into the ring and she quickly pulls him away from the ropes and into a cover.

1!

2!

Knox kicks out right at two! LeCavalier immediately floats into a grounded side headlock, trying to keep up the pressure and grind Knox down.

Sharper: “Ryan starting to take advantage of Knox’s fury and use it against him now.”

Knots: “She has just as much to prove here tonight and she knows weathering the storm and beating a former U.S. Title contender will get her moving back in the right direction.”

Knox starts getting back to his feet again as Ryan continues cranking on the headlock. He elbows her in the gut a few times, trying to loosen her grip, but she just applies more pressure. He backs them up to the ropes and manages to throw her off, but she rebounds and drills him with a running elbow smash! Knox staggers back against the ropes before moving to the corner, where LeCavalier forces him down to a kneeling position with his head against the turnbuckle before she runs across the ring, bouncing off the opposite turnbuckles, before getting a full head of steam and crushing his head with a knee smash against the turnbuckle! Knox slumps over and LeCavalier starts to pull him away from the ropes to go for another pin, but he somehow manages to get one of his feet hooked under the bottom turnbuckle as his size starts to work against her. LeCavalier looks frustrated as she moves to grab that leg and unhook it, deciding to use this to her advantage as she positions herself for a grounded dragon screw, but Knox catches her with an up kick right to the face that stuns her, followed by a second one that sends her back into the corner! He gets back to his feet and LeCavalier rushes out of the corner for another knee strike, but Knox sidesteps her and springboards off the second turnbuckle before catching her with a roundhouse kick! Feeling the momentum build, Knox hauls LeCavalier back to her feet in a muay thai clinch before battering her with a barrage of knee to her face and midsection! LeCavalier tries to push him off, but he holds firm before pulling her in for a fisherman’s suplex, sticking the bridge for the pin!

1!

2!

LeCavalier gets her shoulder up!

Sharper: “Knox starting to build momentum again, and we’ve seen how dangerous he can be when he starts getting on a roll.”

Knots: “They’re both long time veterans, but Knox knows he’s established himself quicker around here and refuses to let go of any of that!”

Knox gets back to his feet, pulling LeCavalier up with him. He hooks her for a suplex and lifts her up, stalling as the fans can’t help but cheer for the show of strength. LeCavalier, however, starts kicking her legs, trying to disrupt the balance before he lowers her enough that she can catch him with a knee right to the top of the head! Knox lets go as LeCavalier falls back to her feet, and she quickly tries to pick his ankle for a single leg takedown. Knox plants his feet, using his size to his advantage before pulling her back into a muay thai clinch, but as he goes for a knee strike LeCavalier blocks it and grabs his leg, managing to position herself so she can trip him up and send him to the mat. She holds on to the leg, though, and quickly twists into a grounded dragon screw! Knox winces and clutches as he leg as he tries to pull himself back to his feet, but LeCavalier moves in and initiates the Feel Nothing strike sequence. Knox falls to the mat but rolls out to the apron under the bottom rope, frustrating LeCavalier as she ends up stepping out onto the apron as well, pulling him back to his feet. She hooks him for the Ephemeris, but Knox manages to elbow his way free before throwing a roundhouse kick that sends LeCavalier over the top rope and back into the ring! Knox takes a moment to get his bearings and shake some feeling back into his leg before he steps back through the ropes, but LeCavalier is immediately on him, trying to pull him to the mat and into the BODY/PRISON! Knox plants his feet, refusing to allow it to happen as he throws a shin kick to break LeCavalier’s grip on his arm before catching her with the Dead, and Lovely!

Sharper: “Incredible back and forth between both of these athletes, but Knox short-circuiting Ryan’s hopes at a possible submission win with the Dead, and Lovely!”

Knots: “Ryan better think fast, because she might be about to become a footnote to the reascension of The Raven!”

Knox signals to the fans that he’s about to put this match away as they cheer in response. LeCavalier gets back to her feet and suddenly grabs his wrist again, trying to pull him into a short-arm clothesline, but Knox ducks underneath and grabs her in a katahajime, looking for The Mercy/The Murder! LeCavalier struggles but Knox’s grip is firm as he prepares for the other half of this combo move, but Ghost's "Hunter's Moon" suddenly starts playing! The fans are roaring as Knox’s attention immediately turns to the stage, where the lights up there have dropped with the haunting melody before flashing in tune with the music building.

Sharper: “JC! JC is here!”

Knots: “He’s about to screw Matthew Knox over once again!”

Knox throws LeCavalier aside and gets into a crouched stance, motioning for JC to get down here as the music keeps playing, but there’s no sign of JC to be found. Knox growls and moves towards the ropes, furiously demanding that JC get out here and face him. LeCavalier suddenly sneaks up behind Knox and rolls him up in a schoolgirl pin!

1!

2!

3!

Steve Hollinsworth calls for the bell as Ghost's "Hunter's Moon" fades into L'Impératrice's "A View to a Kill" while Knox kicks out, but unfortunately he’s a second too late. LeCavalier immediately rolls out of the ring before he can retaliate, backing up the ramp with a smirk on her lips and her arm raised in victory.

Phillips: “Here is your winner… Ryan LeCavalier!”

Sharper: “Ryan LeCavalier picking up a huge victory, taking advantage of JC’s mind games to pick up some much-needed momentum!”

Knots: “Matthew Knox is going to have to really figure out his Bogeyman problem, because the more JC haunts him, the further he’s going to be set back!”

Knox is storming around the ring, furious over this loss as he yells out at the fans, demanding that JC show himself to get his ass kicked. LeCavalier just watches his reaction with a smile as she keeps backing up the ramp, content with her victory here tonight.

Breakdown cuts backstage as we see a camera running through the backstage. It turns the corner where we hear some loud fighting noises only to see Scott Reed thrown hard into a door. Blood smears on the door as he drops down and we see Kirsten Scott and Kandis running over and stomping him. Both have baseball bats in their hands. Kirsten Scott gets a few more shots in as Scott Reed drops to the floor, blood coming from his head, covering his face.

Sharper: “My God! Kirsten Scott and Kandis! Assaulting Scott Reed!”

Knots: “I thought they’d want the match! What the hell?”

Sharper: “Scott Reed is a bloody mess! And they have bats!”

Reed remains down as Kirsten Scott then takes the bat and swings, nailing him in the ribs. Scott Reed grimaces in pain and rolls over, kicking at the floor, blood pooling under his head. Kandis and Kirsten then back up as we see officials running into the scene. Kandis backs up smirking.

Sharper: “Finally officials getting to Scott Reed.”

Knots: “He’s not okay. He can’t be okay!”

Sharper: “And Kandis and Kirsten Scott continue on the damn warpath!”

Kirsten backs up and joins Kandis. Kandis smirks as she storms off. Scott Reed is then checked on by officials.

Breakdown returns as we see Gigi Steward backstage as Katie Steward walks over to her.

Gigi: “Katie…I’m not in the mood about the next movie or-“

Katie: “Hold on, hold on. I saw earlier. Not what you wanted.”

Gigi: “Ya think?”

Katie stops.

Katie: “Well Rise to Greatness wasn’t what I wanted either. Not the movie ending I had in mind. And I was even the director!”

Katie huffs. Gigi rolls her eyes a bit.

Katie: “But…I’m not here necessarily because of that. I’m here because of you. You helped me get my goal. Now for me to return the favour. And whether that involves us getting rewrites from Rise to Greatness or going in a different direction. You tell me. I’m in your corner.”

Gigi: “You serious? Not going to turn this into something else-“

Katie: “Promise. We’re a good team. Not going to give that up! Oh no!”

Katie smiles as Gigi smiles back.

Backstage, Matthew Knox storms through the tunnel. Just then, Gavin Taylor walks up to him and pats him on the back.

Gavin: “Tough loss. Don’t worry. I got you!”

Gavin points to him. Knox turns, his hand turning into a fist, but Gavin just keeps walking. Knox just shakes his head as we cut to the ring.

Deanna Frost vs. Gavin Taylor

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show

And the song continues. The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, he is The All-Star, Gavin Taylor!”

Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feel it whoa (whoa)
The more I need it whoa (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

I cheated to get what I got
Stepped all over you self for my spot
I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not
I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.  Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor says he’s going to do Matthew Knox a favour. I don’t know if Knox will see it that way.”

Knots: “Didn’t heading to the back after losing to Ryan LeCavalier.”

Sharper: “That’s going to rankle him further.”

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out steps Deanna Frost. She looks tired as she looks at the ring. The screens play out as if it’s her normal entrance. The SCW United States Championship is around her waist.

Phillips: “And his opponent, from Manhattan, New York, the SCW United States Champion, she is Deanna Frost!"

Hearing her name, Deanna heads to the ring. She then stops at the moment before almost psyching herself up and then she slides into the ring. The redhead jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring! One the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to normal. She places the title on the apron. She turns back.

Knots: “Do we know how she’s doing?”

Sharper: “If she had any issues after the Rise to Greatness Pre-Show, we didn’t see it. Then again, the Frosts have a history of hiding any nagging injuries. And as we’ve noticed tonight, The Enigma is looming large in the proceedings. Deanna has to focus. She looks tired…”

Knots: “She focused at Rise to Greatness. But tonight…She was almost hysterical when she found out Enigma was suspended.”

The bell sounds and Deanna and Gavin step toward one another and they go to lock up, but Gavin suddenly grabs Deanna and rolls her up in an inside cradle.

1!

Deanna kicks out. The crowd ohs and cheers. Deanna turns and Gavin knees her in the ribs. He then runs her over to the ropes and spins her through to the apron. He pulls her head through and goes for the Cubic Zirconium Cutter, but Deanna pushes him off. Gavin spins through. He runs at Deanna, but Deanna hits a shoulder thrust to the ropes. Gavin bends over and Deanna flips over the top rope and lands behind Gavin. She runs into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a running jumping calf kick, knocking him down.

Sharper: “Deanna knocking Gavin down as Gavin came out looking to end this fast.”

Knots: “Or humiliate her?”

Sharper: “Maybe. Then again, if the Enigma is here, banned or not, does he want to be out here.”

Knots: “I don’t want to be set on fire.”

Gavin rolls over and moves to the corner. Deanna gets up after and shoulders him in the ribs. She rears back and shoulders him again and again in the corner. She grabs him and pulls him out and snapmares him over. Gavin sits up and Deanna knees him in the back. She forces him down and goes for the pin.

Knots: “Gavin knows Deanna’s just going to keep it going. She’s not going to give up a great bit of momentum like that.”

Deanna gets up and Gavin chops her. The crowd woos. He chops her again. The crowd woos again. He whips her across the ring. Deanna bounces off and Gavin catches her with the Dependable Roundhouse. He goes for the pin.

He hits the corner and drops down. He gets up and Deanna grabs him and hits a running bulldog.

Sharper: “Deanna out of the way. Bulldog after Gavin misses!”

Knots: “Oh Gavin. You got a bit ahead of yourself!”

Gavin rolls over. Deanna gets up and hits a knee drop. She rolls through and jumps to the middle rope and hits a lionsault. She hooks the leg.

Gavin gets his shoulder up.

Knots: “Nope!”

Gavin rolls over and Deanna gets up and winces and elbows Gavin in the back of the head as he gets up before elbowing him again and again before then running into the ropes. She bounces off and we can see her looking around only for Gavin to hit the Gavin Taylor Lariat. The crowd roars. Gavin looks around and nods. He walks over to Deanna and grabs her and forearms her before whipping her into the corner. She hits hard back first and then staggers out before suddenly, a loud spark explodes from the top turnbuckle. Gavin backs up and Deanna falls forward and turns, stunned. The official heads over as the crowd ohs.

Sharper: “What the hell was that?!”

Knots: “Did the top turnbuckle just explode?”

Sharper: “I…I think it did.”

Knots: “Enigma?”

Sharper: “I don’t know…”

Deanna starts to get up, looking at the turnbuckle. Gavin, however, looks around before running over and jumping up, hooking his feet under her armpits and rolls back into a rolling clutch pin.

Deanna, however, kicks out. Gavin falls forward and then stops himself from going into the turnbuckle. He backs up and then turns as Deanna hits the Burnout. The crowd ohs. Gavin drops to the mat.

Knots: “And Deanna made him pay.”

Deanna turns and hooks the leg.

The crowd roars. The bell sounds. Deanna rolls off and then turns to the turnbuckle.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Deanna Frost!”

She slowly gets up. We then notice it’s the corner where Deanna put her United States Championship.

Sharper: “That’s Deanna’s corner. Deanna looking at it…”

Knots: “There’s no reason for pyro there. So what the hell?”

Sharper: “Deanna gets the win. Gavin Taylor didn’t do Knox any favours, and despite Enigma not being allowed in. You have this…”

Deanna keeps looking at the turnbuckle as her music plays. She turns to the official and points at it. Crew members start to head to the ring, some checking at the ring. Deanna looks around as the scene cuts away.

MOMENTS AGO:

We return with a still of Gavin Taylor grabbing Deanna Frost.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. If you’re just joining us…while Deanna Frost was facing Gavin Taylor, Deanna was thrown into the turnbuckle and an explosion went off after.”

Knots: “Yeah…taking a look.”

Gavin walks over to Deanna and grabs her and forearms her before whipping her into the corner. She hits hard back first and then staggers out before suddenly, a loud spark explodes from the top turnbuckle. Gavin backs up and Deanna falls forward and turns, stunned. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “And during the break, CHBK, the agents, they came down. They started to take a look. Deanna Frost talking to CHBK.”

Knots: “Yeah, and they also found more.”

DURING THE BREAK:

We see Deanna Frost talking to CHBK at ringside as Dean Black, Dillusion, Hiro Tanaka and Lucas Knight join the crew in checking the ring. Lucas heads over to the turnbuckle that went off and we see a crew member pulling out a sensor and a pyroblast, hidden under the covering that covers the actual turnbuckle to the ringpost. Just then, we see another spark as Dillusion, taking a chair, hits the opposite turnbuckle. The sound echoes and Deanna and CHBK head over.

Sharper: “Apparently both turnbuckle, regardless of where Deanna would go, were rigged to go off.”

Knots: “And we’ve seen those before. That’s the same type of technology we’ve seen used for exploding ring matches or stuff that Kim used to do.”

Sharper: “And they burn. They disorient.”

Knots: “But it’s so minor after the fire and…”

Sharper: “Or it’s all he could do. Remove the mystery, the smoke and mirrors behind the smoke and mirrors, and it loses one set of scare factor.”

Knots: “But then, he did this. And when? We’ve been here the whole night. I know they refresh the canvas and stuff…I don’t…”

Sharper: “We weren’t watching the ring for someone sabotaging it. They test the turnbuckles all the time…”

Dillusion hits it again and then we see him and a crew member starting to take it apart. We then see another pyroblast and sensor removed from the turnbuckle connector covering. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Anyway, we do understand that the crew has seemingly swept the ring and checked everything.”

Knots: “Good to know! That’s all we need. Xander Valentine maty force us to need new Tag Champs!”

Blue and white lights flash as a fast drumbeat fills the arena followed by the words:

{I will not be afraid! I will not be afraid!}

The crowd roars as Amy Chastaine appears at the top of the stage. “Hell & Consequences” by Stone Sour continues as Amy starts down the ramp.

{I’ve done this on my own, and I don’t care what you do to me,
I won't hand over what is mine
I've done this for too long, to let you take it away from me,
it's too late to stop me, cause I refuse to die.}

Sharper: “Amy Chastaine in one sense has to be thrilled. Defeated Simon Lyman and maybe put him out for good.”

Knots: “Drove his throat into a chair and then sandwiched his head between two chairs with the conchairto. Lyman’s going to need a resurrection. But we saw another resurrection!”

Sharper: “Andrew Raynes showing up to stop Lyman from taking out Amy. Allowing Amy to finish Lyman off.”

Amy Chastaine walks down to the ring and over to the steel steps. She walks up them and then looks at the turnbuckle before walking a few steps forward and entering into the ring. She glances over to be sure and then walks over to the ropes, a few feet away again from the corner and demanding a microphone. Phillips hands her one. She takes it and walks over to the middle of the ring as her music fades out. As she settles in the middle of the ring, the crowd starts chanting “Thank you Amy!” and clapping. Amy smirks and looks around.

Sharper: “Looks like the fans are appreciative.”

Knots: “They just don’t want to be saved!”

Amy nods as she walks around the ring, continuing to smirk. The chants continue for a few moments before Amy brings the microphone to her mouth.

Amy: “I don’t need the thanks, but it does make me feel good.”

Amy looks around.

Amy: “Because, and I don’t mean this in any way to offend, I had plenty of motivation to kick Simon Lyman’s ass all over St. Louis! That it was a benefit for you, I’ll take it as a nice bonus1”

Amy pauses as the crowd cheers.

Amy: “Now, before anyone gets too antsy, you don’t need to worry. There won’t be any rehash here. Simon Lyman isn’t here. I’ve checked. Probably too many times. I’ve been backstage, waiting…waiting for that piece of shit to appear, broken down. I asked the production crew if they had some sort of video. Was Lisa Archer here to do some PR? You know, how Simon Lyman was injured after Josh Hudson kicked his sanctimonious ass…and no…nothing. He’s not here. He’s not coming. And he’s not sending a message. For once….we can have peace and quiet.”

Amy looks down, contemplating this as the crowd roars.

Amy: “And I damn well hope so. Simon! I hope I never see your face again.”

Amy pauses again.

Amy: “The problem is that I don’t know if you’re so far gone that you will stay away. That you won’t take the gift I gave you. That’s right…a gift. When I dropped you on your throat with the Blackout…to shut you up for once. And then to hopefully reset you and remind you you have gone too far with the Conchairto….You’ve been beyond the pale for so long. And I don’t know if you even care. But take this moment…while you’re recovering…and do yourself a favour…stay home. Forever. Allow some small semblance of the positive legacy you had to still live on. Because right now, and I know I’m not the only one…but if you appear again, we may make sure it WILL be the last time!”

The crowd roars. Amy looks around.

Amy: “But that’s only one reason I’m out here.”

Amy pauses again.

Amy: “I was the last person standing against Simon. I took the war to him and won. But I was greeted with my own surprise…and someone…someone I never thought would help me.”

Amy turns to the entrance way.

Amy: “Andrew…”

The crowd roars.

Amy: “Andrew, I know you’re here…”

Amy looks at the stage.

Amy: “I…I didn’t think you’d stand with me…but…I need answers. I need…to know.”

Amy pauses briefly.

Amy: “Please.”

Amy pauses and brings the microphone down. Her demeanour changes to one of uncertainty. She keeps her eyes on the entrance way.

Sharper: “We were as stunned too. Amy stunned in the moment. Andrew Raynes hated Amy Chastaine.”

Knots: “Hates? Doesn’t he still hate her?”

Sharper: “I thought so, but then again…if he helped her?”

Knots: “She says he’s here and I guess Andrew’s not listening.”

Amy looks at the stage.

Amy: “Andrew!”

Amy calls out and looks at the stage. She then turns and looks around. She goes to the ropes and tries to get a crew member to find something. She turns to Sharper, shouting at him from the ring.

Amy: “Anything?’

Sharper shakes his head.

Knots: “Guess he’s not interested in saying anything.”

Sharper: “I guess. Still…why?”

Amy Chastaine turns back and looks around. She then turns to the stage. The camera remains on her for a few moments before we cut away.

Glory Braddock and Brittany Lohan are shown talking and shaking hands.

Lohan: “Just remember-“

Braddock: “I know.”

Lohan: “But I’m not going to stand in your way. It was a great year though.”

Braddock: “I won’t hesitate to call if I need to-“

Destiny Page heads over to them.

Page: “Glory, Brittany-“

Lohan: “I’ll let you explain. Because now, I don’t have to talk if I don’t want to. Just destroy.”

Lohan walks past Page as Page watches her leave. Page turns back to Glory.

Page: “What was that about?”

Braddock: “We just had a lot of thinking. And frankly, Light in the Darkness beat us. Simple as that. We’re not going to declare war on the tag division like we did. We’re not going to brute force that. Instead, Brittany didn’t want to hold me back. I told her she wasn’t. But I also had the itch to aim for some more singles accolades. Simple as that.”

Page: “So Twisted & Sadistic?”

Braddock: “On hiatus. But SCW better look out because…well…”

Braddock smirks.

Braddock: “Sic Semper Tyrannis.”

Braddock walks off as the scene fades out.

Xander Valentine vs. Amelia Blythe

“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Blythe makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. After a moment of this, La Pequeña Luz skips out from behind Amelia and stands beside her, giving her a pep talk before planting a quick kiss on her cheek which brings a smile to Amelia’s face. The two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia’s look growing more determined and battle-ready as Luz continues her pep talk. Once they reach ringside, Amelia pulls Luz into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and mask and handing them off to Luz on the outside, Luz taking the opportunity to give some last minute advice and encouragement.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, accompanied by La Pequena Luz, she is one-half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, representing ‘The Light in the Darkness’, Ameila Blythe!”

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill
Others are born to run
Some need to keep on takin'
Till you ain't got none”

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die
Lay down and be crucified
Nah, no matter how hard they try
To push me down
Still I rise”

“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp while Artemis steps up from behind him and throws his arm up into the air. Together they start down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “Fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado… from Rochester, New York… weighing in at 300 pounds, standing at six foot ten inches, he is the SCW Hall of Famer, a former SCW World Champion, the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner…. XANDER F’ING VALENTINE!”

Suffocate me until I am blue
To preserve my bad worldview
Paranoid, All Eyes On Me
Rumours circle, vultures feed

Baby, I wasn't built to die
Lay down and be crucified
Nah, no matter how hard they try
To push me down
Still I rise

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Artemis joins him by slipping below the bottom rope. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell. Artemis leans up and whispers into his ears before departing with a kiss on his neck.

Xander and Amelia stare at one another as the ref checks with both competitors, before calling for the bell. Amelia steps out from her corner and Xander follows suit.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine is coming off a win over Kandis at Rise to Greatness, while Amelia and Puz regained the World Tag Team titles on the same stage.”

Knots: “She’s a champion, but Amelia has an uphill battle here tonight. Xander is four times her size for crying out loud.”

Xander gets his hands up, as does Amelia before they begin circling the ring. Amelia goes to lunge forward but Xander immediately gets the big boot up, taking her down to the mat. Xander bounces off the ropes and goes for a leg drop, but Amelia rolls out of the way. Xander hits the mat and goes to get up, but Amelia comes in from behind, driving her shoulder into Xander’s left knee.

Xander drops down as Amelia comes running off the ropes, taking Xander down with a bulldog, before going for a quick cover.

1!

Xander powers out.

Sharper: “Amelia showing her crafty side. He may not be four times her size, but Xander has the strength and size advantage in this contest.”

Knots: “Look at how he just pressed her off him!”

Xander gets to his feet as Amelia charges over. Xander catches her with a belly to belly suplex. Xander stands and towers over Amelia before pulling her up. Xander hooks her and hits a quick snap suplex before going for a cover of his own.

1!

2!

Amelia manages to get the shoulder up. Xander pulls her up with him before whipping her into the corner. Xander then charges, going for another big boot, but Amelia gets out of the way.

Knots: “Xander hung up on the ropes now after that failed big boot.”

Ameila nails a dropkick to the left knee while Xander is pulling his right leg from the top rope. Xander drops to the mat and Amelia stomps the left knee then the ankle.

Sharper: “Amelia targeting the left leg of her opponent. She took out the left knee in the early goings of the match for those of you who may just be tuning in.”

Amelia pulls the left leg, then stomps at the back of the knee before slamming it down to the mat and stomping on the ankle. Amelia then grabs hold once again, then time sinching in an ankle lock. Xander immediately rolls over and grabs the ropes.

Sharper: “Amelia with an ankle lock on the Executioner!”

Knots: “Xander has the ropes, however. Amelia still holding on for dear life.”

Ref: “1..2..3..”

Amelia breaks the hold and gets to her feet. Xander is shown using the ropes to pull himself up. Amelia rushes over but Xander manages to hit a back elbow. Amelia staggers back a bit, before Xander grabs her and drives her to the mat a belly to back suplex. Xander sits up and slaps his left leg a few times before getting up and standing Amelia up with him.

Xander whips her across the ring, bouncing her off the ropes before driving her down with a spinebuster. Xander gets back to his feet.

Sharper: “The former SCW Champion wincing a little bit it seems.”

Xander pulls Amelia up who fires away with a European uppercut. Xander staggers a bit before she connects with a side kick to the left knee. Xander glares before hitting his own European uppercut. Xander then hooks Amelia, lifting her up for a powerbomb, but Amelia begins hitting Xander with elbows to the side of the head, before floating over. Amelia gets to her feet and drives her shoulder into Xander’s left knee once again.

Knots: “Amelia going after the leg and Xander is back down.”

Xander goes to push himself up, but Amelia comes from behind and locks in another ankle lock. Xander uses his strength to roll forward, throwing Amelia, before maintains the hold.

Sharper: “Xander thought he could shake Amelia off, but she keeps the ankle lock locked in!”

Xander pulls himself, dragging Amelia with him, to the ropes. Amelia holds still holds on.

Ref: “1…2…3…4…”

Amelia breaks the hold and gets to her feet, backing away a bit.

Knots: “Amelia cutting it a little close that time with the ref’s count.”

Sharper: “You have to wonder how much damage she’s done to Xander. And having to drag her, along with himself, to the ropes. That’s a lot of pressure.”

Xander is shown using the ropes to get himself to his feet. Amelia charges over and Xander turns and catches her with a big boot, before stumbling forward, wincing once again. Amelia is shown getting up. She turns and Xander hooks her, lifting her up and driving her to the mat with a sit-out powerbomb. Xander leans back and grabs at his leg before moving forward and going for the pin.

2!

Amelia shoots the shoulder up!

Sharper: “Xander got all of that one…”

Knots: “But it still wasn’t enough to put the Tag Champion down! Nobody can question the fight in Amelia Blythe.”

Sharper: “Right you are, partner.”

Xander gets to his feet, hitting his leg once again before reaching down only for Amelia to reach up and pull him into an inside cradle.

2!

Xander kicks out!

Knots: “Amelia almost had him.”

Amelia gets to her feet as Xander gets to one knee. Amelia rushes over, only for Xander to grab her by the throat. Xander goes to lift her up, but Amelia kicks him in his bad knee. Xander drops her and Amelia goes to whip Xander into the corner, but he manages to reverse the move, sending Amelia into the corner. Xander runs after and Amelia gets a boot up. Xander turns and Amelia jumps onto his back. She tries to lock in the Blight Choke. Xander keeps fighting as Amelia tries to scissor his body. She then grabs at this head, but Xander pulls her on head and arm and pulls her up, managing to maneuver her onto his shoulders and turns and hits the Valhalla Has Fallen. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Blythe tried for the Blight Choke. Xander just muscled up her! Valhalla Has Fallen!”

Knots: “Oh that’s it. Good fight…but…”

Xander turns and leans on her for the pin.

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds. Xander rolls off.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Xander Valentine!”

Luz heads over and leans into the ring to check on Amelia. Xander slowly gets up and steps forward. He walks around the ring and has his arm raised.

Sharper: “And Xander with another emphatic win.”

Knots: “Could he be next to earn a shot at Hudson?”

Sharper: “Who knows? Especially with Selena holding that contract over everyone’s head…But nonetheless, hard to doubt Xander these days.”

Xander remains in the ring and enjoys the moment, hearing his music. He leans on the ropes as the scene cuts away.

AUS!

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage with Kandis. Both have baseball bats in their hands. Kirsten Scott then heads to the ring as Kandis walks along the stage. She looks over one end before turning and heading to the other side of the stage and nodding. She yells something to Kirsten. Kirsten nods and heads to the ring.

Sharper: “This match…I don’t know what to think-“

Knots: “What match? They beat the hell out of Scott Reed backstage. They left him bloody.”

Sharper: “And Kirsten Scott heading to the ring. Kandis has something in mind. Both have baseball bats.”

Knots: “I think a lot of people are going to be on high alert now!”

Kirsten Scott continues to the ring and walks over to it. Pulling herself up onto the apron, she then steps into the ring. Kirsten Scott walks around the ring and runs the ropes. She then stops in the middle of the ring. She then paces in the ring. The music fades out.

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott now in the ring…”

Knots: “Where did Kandis go-“

We cut to the stage where we see Kandis by the music and production station. She says something to one. They shake their head and Kandis then turns back before taking the baseball bat and just nailing the man in the back. He goes down. The crowd ohs as Kandis then turns and snaps, threatening another member of the production team. The team members scatter as Kandis turns and looks around and grabs a device near the man she attacked and grabs it. She turns and plays with the dials before starting to lower the steel cage.

Sharper: “Kandis just assaulted that crew member and…”

Knots: “She’s lowering the cage!”

Sharper: “That’s the device to lower the cage.”

Knots: “Guess we are having a cage match. Kirsten Scott ready I guess.”

Sharper: “She has a bat. Kandis has a bat. What the hell?!”

The cage starts to lower as Kandis looks and watches. It slowly comes down to the ring and Kirsten Scott reaches over and tries to help move it so it goes down correctly. Kandis stops with it slowly hanging, the bottom between the top and middle rope. Kandis throws the device down before grabbing her bat. She then walks around on the floor as the crowd looks on, buzzing. Kandis then runs along the rampway and climbs back up before heading to the ring. She storms around the ring as Kristen points out Jason Phillips.

Knots: “She’s coming over here.”

Sharper: “Kandis…this aggressive streak going too far! Assaulting crew members now.”

Knots: “Just get the hell away from here!”

Knots gets up and walks away as Sharper looks on as Kandis heads over and grabs Jason Phillips and grabs a microphone from him before shoving him back. He falls over and Kandis turns and rolls into the ring. She gets up and steps forward.

Kandis: “So there was a main event scheduled here in Dallas….Scott Reed was going to find out that he should’ve stayed backstage instead of thinking he had a chance against Kirsten. So we just took care of that straight up.”

Kandis turns to the stage.

Kandis: “Now, we can give you all a main event worthy of you and SCW and whatever else. Before Selena can get her grubby hands back on that title.”

Kandis paces a bit.

Kandis: “Hudson!”

Kandis smirks.

Kandis: “Nothing was resolved earlier. And we’re not leaving. So Hudson, you said you’d step up. Allow people to prove himself. Prove it in this ring. Well, let’s just end the BS. The Wild West is here and we’re waiting.”

Kandis paces.

Kandis: “So come on out to the ring. Bring the World Title. Kristen and I are first in line!”

Sharper: “Kandis and Kirsten Scott just planting themselves at the front of the line.”

Knots: “And with the cage, it forces anyone to slide in and open themselves up. They know this. This is all planned!”

Kandis walks around the ring.

Kandis: “We’re ready. Come on, Josh. Or are you not a fighting champion?”

Kandis and Kristen wait before we see officials heading down from the back. CHBK walks out joined by Dean Black. We then see Steve Hollinsworth sliding into the ring, only for Kandis to step up and grab him. Steve Hollinsworth says something to her only for her to push him back, kick him in the ribs and then nail him with the baseball bat. Hollinsworth goes down and Demitra and Cassidy, the other officials, pull him out. CHBK and Dean Black stop at the end of the rampway before we then see Josh Hudson walk out from the back, the SCW World Championship over his shoulder, wrestling tape on his fists, one still with the tape ring on it. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “CHBK out here. Hollinsworth attacked again.”

Knots: “He said something. Kandis wasn’t happy.”

Sharper: “I don’t think CHBK is going to recognize this.”

Knots: “Well here comes Hudson! Hudson’s here.”

Sharper: “And he looks ready to fight!”

Hudson rips off the tape ring and throws it aside before then heading down the ring. CHBK notices this as he walks over to Hudson. Hudson goes to walk past CHBK. CHBK stops him.

Hudson: “You need someone to give her a reality check. Guess Xander’s not as effective-“

CHBK: “Stay here. She’s not-“

Hudson: “I created this. I’ll resolve it. I’m not going to run or hide like others.”

Hudson then steps past. CHBK goes to stop him, but Hudson jukes past him and runs to the ring and slides in. The crowd roars as Kandis and Kristen run forward. Dean Black then motions to the back as we see security guards jogging down from the back. Hudson slides in and Kandis and Kristen run over and stomp on him. The crowd boos as Hudson covers up and takes several shots. A guard slides in, followed by another and Kirsten Scott turns and nails one with a hard right before kicking the other. Kandis then steps back and grabs the baseball bat and grabs Hudson, placing it around his throat before pulling him up. She then spins him around and goes to send him into the cage, but Hudson uses his momentum to spin around and grabs Kandis from behind and hits a snap German suplex. Kandis rolls over and to the edge. Hudson gets up as Scott nails him in the ribs with the end of the bat. She then nails him again and Hudson grabs the bat, trying to fight through the pain as Kirsten Scott pushes him back into the corner.

Sharper: “Hudson got Kandis down, but Kirsten Scott working over Hudson.”

Knots: “Kandis isn’t down for-“

Sharper: “They’re dragging her out!”

Dean Black reaches in and pulls Kandis to the floor. She turns and goes to nail Black, but another guard grabs her arm as another does the same. They then violently push her to the floor. Black oversees it as they start to handcuff her.

Sharper: “They’re arresting Kandis!”

Knots: “They planned for this. They knew this could escalate. CHBK was hoping it wouldn’t!”

CHBK moves forward.

CHBK: “Get her out of here. Remove her from the building. Black…make the call.”

Black hears his and nods. They then start to drag Kandis up. Kandis kicks at CHBK, but he steps back. They then drag her up the rampway. Kirsten Scott turns, seeing this and stopping her attack briefly. She then turns around as Hudson then nails her with a hard right and then another and another. Kirsten staggers and Hudson then steps up and grabs her and hits a side belly to belly suplex. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Kandis getting dragged out. Hudson…suplex! Oh yeah!”

Hudson gets up as Kirsten rolls over. Kandis is dragged to the stage where Selena Frost then walks out. The crowd boos loudly as Hudson gets up and turns seeing Selena. Selena just smirks at Kandis as Kandis kicks at her. Selena just watches her as she’s dragged to the back.

Knots: “Selena enjoying that!”

Sharper: “Why the hell is she out here anyway?”

Knots: “It is the main event…”

Sharper: “Oh God…”

Selena Frost then holds up the contract in her hand. Hudson sees her as CHBK does too. Selena looks at CHBK before then looking at it as the scene fades to black…
