We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the SAP Center at San Jose in San Jose, California. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

 

Sharper: “Week two of Fatal Fortunes is now live, live from San Jose!”

 

The cameras pan across the crowd for a moment longer before cutting to ringside and the announce position where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit.

 

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and the chaos continues tonight.”

 

Knots: “That’s putting it mildly. At least this week, we can tell you a few things to expect. We know tonight, no matter what, the Underground, Adrenaline and TV Titles will be on the line.”

 

Sharper: “Not only that, we expect to see the return of Selena Frost. She’s not yet been drawn. She’s supposed to be in this.”

 

Knots: “Are you ready?”

 

Sharper: “As ready as I’ll be. How will Fatal Fortunes begin tonight?”

 

We cut to the big screen as we see a shot of a wheel of various matches spinning before flashing on matches like steel cage, underground, strap match, and others, before another ring spins showing various configurations: singles, tag, triple threat and so on. They both spin before the screen flashes and shows “Singles Last Person Standing SCW Adrenaline Championship.” The crowd roars.

 

Knots: “Oh my…but who is the Adrenaline Champion? Is it Alistaire? We’ve had this hanging over Alistaire?”

 

Sharper: “We’re about to find out I guess!”

Phillips: “The following contest is for the SCW Adrenaline Championship, and it will be contested as a Last Person Standing Match!!! Introducing first…”

The spotlights shine forth from the stage, bathing the entire arena in blinding white lights corresponding with a verse of “Eyes Like Fire” by Collision of Innocence. A figure stands in front of the curtains; his arms are extended horizontally, and his legs are spread. His back is turned to the audience. His presence incites a chorus of cheers from the crowd. As the bright lights start to dim, you can tell the man is wearing pure white tights. A blood-red sleeveless coat stretched from his defined torso, showing off the SCW Adrenaline Championship as well, down to his equally bright white boots. Pyros explode around the entranceway, timed perfectly for Alistaire Allocco to kick out his leg to turn to face the crowd as the chorus of his theme kicks in:

Descending on a cloud, For all the world to see
Dressed in white with strength and majesty
Robe dripping red with eyes like fire
Sword held up high behold the white horse rider

Cries of the martyrs he has heard your voices
Now the day nears they will pay for their choices
Look up until the day and don't ever be afraid

He begins to walk down the ramp with his dark eyes staring intently at the ring before him. Just then, out from the back comes LHS and Samuel Davies Jr., as they attack Alistaire from behind.

 

Sharper: “Well I guess that answers that. Alistaire sent out. So SCW is accepting that he is the fighting champion.”

 

Knots: “And he’s going to get this attack. Holly Adams Brand is pissed off after last week. Holly was put in a dumpster! A dumpster!”

Sharper: “LHS and Davies out here, going after the champion during his entrance!”

The crowd boos as LHS and Samuel continue the attack, slamming Alistaire into the barricade and then into the ring apron. The cameras then show Cid’nay’ Turner running down to the ring. He slides in under the bottom rope then looks at LHS and Samuel, telling them to roll Alistaire into the ring. They club Alistaire before rolling him inside. Once Alistaire is inside, the ref calls for the bell.

Knots: “Oh good. Now the match can officially begin.”

Cid’nay’ drops down and goes for the cover, but the referee doesn’t go for the count. He looks at Cid’nay’ who looks back, overly confused.

Sharper: “I don’t think anyone told Cid’nay’ the rules here.”

Alistaire pushes Cid’nay’ off him, almost effortlessly. Alistaire rolls over and gets to his feet. He removes the Adrenaline title and his coat as Cid’nay’ charges, but Alistaire hits a kick to the midsection, then a forearm to the back, before hooking Cid’nay’ and connecting with a belly to belly suplex. Cid’nay’ hits the mat and skids across the ring, tapping the turnbuckle.

Cid’nay’ winces as he reaches up and pulls himself to his feet using the ropes. He turns and Alistaire grabs him, and spins, sending Cid’nay’ back into the corner with a suplex into the turnbuckle.

Knots: “Cid’nay’ is down.

Sharper: “And I don’t think he’s moving.”

The ref begins the count.

Ref: “1..2..3…4…5…”

Just then, LHS and Davies roll into the ring and attack Alistaire once again, clubbing him in the back of the head and driving him to the mat. They begin to stomp on the champion before rushing over and pulling Cid’nay’ to his feet.

LHS: “Make the count!’

The ref looks at them then shakes his head before doing so.

Ref: “1…2…3…4…”

Alistaire pushes himself up, but Davies runs up and kicks him in the ribs, sending him back down to the mat. He looks at Cid’nay’ and LHS before pointing at Alistaire. LHS and Cid’nay’, who appears reluctant’ begin to stomp away at Alistaire while Davies rolls out of the ring.

Sharper: “This is despicable!”

Knots: “But given the rules, it’s all fair game.”

Davies pulls out a steel chair, followed by a second, before sliding them into the ring. He rolls inside and kicks a chair over to Cid’nay’. Cid’nay’ picks up the chair before he and Davies begin to slam the chairs down onto Alistaire. The crowd boos as the attack continues. Cid’nay’ lands one last shot before they all step back.

Davies: “Make the count!”

Cid’nay’: “Yeah! Uh, make the count!”

The ref shakes his head before starting the count.

Ref: “1…2…3…”

Sharper: “If Cid’nay’ wins the Adrenaline Championship, like this, it may go down as one of the biggest upsets in the history of not only this company’s history, but our sport altogether.”

Knots: “But, I’m sure Holly would be pleased, nonetheless.”

Ref: “4…5…6…7…”

Just then, the booing crowd begins to cheer as Adam Allocco is shown racing down towards the ring. Cid’nay’ gets the attention of LHS and Davies, who get in their fighting stances. Adam doesn’t slow his pace, as he slides into the ring, and double legs Davies as he goes to swing the chair. LHS goes to hit him, but Adam connects with a back kick to the abdomen. LHS drops and rolls out of the ring.

Adam pulls Alistaire to his feet before grabbing Davies. He kicks him in the gut then plants him with Back from Rehab. Davies bounces then rolls out of the ring. Alistaire and Adam then look at one another then at Cid’nay’. The crowd begins to cheer, as Cid’nay’ looks terrified.

Sharper: “This doesn’t look good for the challenger.”

Knots: “What would give you that impression.”

Cid’nay’ grabs a chair and charges at Adam, only for Adam to kick him in the gut. Adam pulls the chair away and clocks Cid’nay’ before hitting Back to Rehab. Cid’nay’ hits the mat. Adam nods at Alistaire then lifts Cid’nay’ up, sitting on his knees. Alistaire then charges and connects with Sins of the Father. Cid’nay’ slumps over and the ref begins the count.

Ref: “1..2..3..4..5...6..7..8..9..10!!!”

The ref calls for the bell as “Eyes Like Fire” hits. Adam takes the Adrenaline title from the ref and hands it to Alistaire.

Phillips: “Here is your winner and still…the SCW Adrenaline Champion…Alistaire! Allocco!”

The cameras show LHS tending to Davies on the outside, as Cid’nay’ remains motionless in the ring. Adam steps aside as Alistaire lifts the title above his head, celebrating before the cameras cut away.

 

Sharper: “Now let’s go to Jaina Lancaster who stands by with Xander Valentine.”

 

The scene switches to show Jaina Lancaster with Xander Valentine at the interview area.

 

Jaina: “Thank you Adam. Xander, we just saw the Holly Adams Brand take another lump as Fatal Fortunes seems to not be for them. You’ve been having an issue with them. You wanted to get your hands on Holly at Under Attack, all of this starting with the bullying and the targeting of Artemis and your daughter, both of whom I notice aren’t with you. Are you enjoying how fate seems to have it in for the Brand?”

 

Xander: “First off, they didn’t need to be here. I’m off. But I am here in case they tried something and it seems like the Brand is getting everything they deserve…although your match against Aries…a shame it ended as it did.”

 

Jaina: “I’ll take it. I’m still learning and to be able to draw against him-“

 

Xander: “He did not deserve that draw. You deserved the win. Especially with how you fought him. As for Holly, I hesitate to say that even a dumpster is too nice for her.”

 

Jaina: “Well you mentioned they got what they deserved. What does Xander Valentine deserve?”

 

Xander stops for a moment and then looks up.

 

Xander: “That…with this new lease of a career I’ve had since Rise to Greatness…I have only one focus, after I make sure Holly Adams understands her follies…and that’s the World Championship.”

 

Jaina: “Well maybe we’ll see you back in contention in the new year. Fatal Fortunes continues after this. Thank you Xander.”

 

Xander nods as the scene fades to black.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns with a shot of the parking lot outside of the SAP Center. The crowd cheers seeing the outside of their home area before we see the “Winter is Coming” Tour Bus for the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, pull up to the arena. The crowd erupts in boos.

 

Sharper: “Wait a minute! That’s Selena Frost’s bus. She is here.”

 

Knots: “We didn’t see it last week and she’s cutting it close. The show has started!”

 

The bus parks as the camera remains on it for a few moments.

 

We cut to the big screen as we see a shot of a wheel of various matches spinning before flashing on matches like steel cage, underground, strap match, and others, before another ring spins showing various configurations: singles, tag, triple threat and so on. They both spin before the screen flashes and shows “Triple Threat Singles Match.”

 

Alex Desoubrais Jr. vs. Crystal Zdunich vs. Bree Lancaster

 

The lights dim slightly as a male voice speaks:

“When's the last time you were afraid?”
“I haven't been afraid a day in my life.”

The music and chorus of Shinedown's “Dead Don't Die” kicks in, with white strobe lights flashing in time. Bree Lancaster runs out from the curtain, arms spread wide, hands facing up, and a smile on her face.

Bree makes her way down the ramp, confidence in her step as she speaks to a fan or two on the way.

Bree sprints up the ring steps, quickly wipes her feet on the apron then steps through the ropes. She does a spin in the center of the ring, arms spread out like before, drawing cheers. She then heads to her corner as the music fades and the lights return to normal.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall and will be contested under triple threat rules! Introducing first from New Orleans, Louisiana…she is…Bree Lancaster!”

The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal's voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.

"YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!"

As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros.

Smile Bomb by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red haired "Burning Rose" Crystal Zdunich walks from the curtains. She is accompanied by her fiancee Alexandra Caldwell, and the two of them make their way to the ring. Crystal is focused as she walks to the ring with a purpose. She however slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way. She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside she kips up to her feet. She tosses her Shoto inspired hoodie towards her wife as she awaits the start of the match. Alexandra cheers for her fiancee as Crystal is locked in a trance.

Phillips: “Introducing next, currently residing in Los Angeles, California…she is…The Burning Rose…Crystal Zdunich!”

Crystal turns to face Bree, only for the cameras to catch Alex Jr. sliding under the bottom rope, clubbing Crystal in the back of the head.

Sharper: “Well there’s our third combatant, Alex Jr! Attacking Crystal from behind!”

The ref calls for the bell as Bree charges over only for Alex to blast her with a superkick. Bree hits the mat as Alex spins a stunned Crystal around, hitting her with a superkick as well. Crystal falls to the mat and Alex tries to cover Bree.

Alex growls before leaping over and covering Crystal.

Bree breaks it up!

Sharper: “Alex with the sneak attack and trying to get a pin fall over both opponents.”

Knots: “It was a sound strategy. In theory, at least.”

Bree pulls Alex up, grabbing him by his shirt. Still holding onto his shirt, Bree jumps up and connects with a forearm. She leaps up again, connecting with another forearm. Alex buckles a bit, as Bree grabs his right arm and twists it, before driving her elbow into the arm. She drives her elbow into the arm a second, and third time, before shoving Alex to the mat. As she does this, Crystal comes in from behind, rolling Bree up for a pin attempt.

Knots: “And the Burning Rose out of nowhere!”

Bree kicks out!

Bree rolls through only for Crystal to catch her with a running clothesline. Crystal grabs Bree, pulling her up from the mat, before hitting a knife edge chop, followed by a second, backing Bree into the ropes. Crystal then connects with a dropkick, sending Bree to the outside.

Sharper: “What a dropkick!”

Crystal gets up only for Alex Jr. to grab her and plant her with a spike DDT. Alex then goes for the cover.

Crystal kicks out!

Sharper: “Alex seems to be picking his spots. Still not able to get the result he wants.”

Alex picks Crystal up from the mat, but Crystal manages to hit European uppercut. Alex staggers back and Crystal charges and leaps, taking Alex down with a tornado DDT. Crystal goes for a cover of her own.

Alex kicks out.

Crystal gets to her feet, as the cameras catch Bree running up behind her and leaping up, hitting Crystal with a reverse hurricanrana.

Sharper: “Bree out of nowhere with the Recoil!”

Alex is shown getting to his feet as Bree runs over, connecting with a running knee. Bree grabs his right arm, twisting it once again, before driving her elbow into it over and over again. Bree then transitions, keeping her grip on the arm, as she leaps up and crosses her legs around the arm, as her back hits the mat. Alex sits on one knee, as Bree leans back, locking the arm bar a little deeper.

Knots: “CHBK’s mini-me is in trouble.”

Crystal is shown bouncing off the ropes, connecting with a baseball slide to the side of Bree’s head. Bree releases the hold. Alex stumbles back into the ropes, as Crystal bounces off the ropes once again, completing a front flip into a leg drop across Bree’s throat.

Sharper: “Crystal showing off that high flying style she’s known for.”

Crystal goes for another cover.

Bree shoots the shoulder up.

Crystal grabs Bree and pulls her up. Alex is shown charging. Crystal and Bree look at one another then at Alex, before they both deliver a superkick, knocking Alex back into the ropes, where he slumps. Bree and Crystal look at one another once again before Crystal goes for a haymaker. Bree blocks it, before pulling Crystal and hitting her with a belly to belly suplex.

Knots: “Bree with a belly to belly. Shades of Josh Hudson. Maybe training with the old geezer is paying off.”

Crystal pushes herself up and charges, only for Bree to catch her, using Crystal’s momentum against her, sending Crystal to the outside with another belly to belly suplex.

Crowd: “OOOHHH!!!”

Sharper: “I’d say you’re right, partner. Crystal sent flying with that belly to belly.”

Alex is shown charging over and clubbing Bree in the back. Alex tries to roll Bree up, but Bree rolls through. Bree grabs Alex’s right wrist before stomping on his abdomen, then his elbow, before locking in the cross armbreaker.

Knots: “Bree going for another submission. She’s targeted Alex’s arm all match.”

Sharper: “She calls this move the Tangled Web. She went for a variation of it earlier, but Crystal broke it up. Now it’s her and Alex, with Alex having nowhere to go.”

The ref checks with Alex who is struggling to break free. Bree pulls back a bit more, and Alex taps out. The ref calls for the bell as the crowd cheers and “Dead Don’t Die” begins to blare through the PA system.

Phillips: “Here is your winner by submission…BREE! LANCASTER!”

Bree gets to her feet as the ref raises her hand. Crystal is shown leaning against the barricade, shaking her head, while Alex is shown clutching his arm in agony. Bree is shown once again, celebrating in the ring.

Sharper: “Bree seems to have had her eye on the Adrenaline Championship. If that’s the case then based off tonight’s more than dominant performance, she should be considered a frontrunner as top contender.”

Bree is shown making her way towards the back as her music, and cheering from the crowd, continues before we cut away.

 

Backstage, we hear the sound of a commotion as the camera runs over to a door way as we see Kimberly Williams stepping out of the room, WASLEY in her hands.

 

Kim: “Don’t mind us. WASLEY wanted to say hi. He’s not happy with someone stopping me from doing what I do!”

 

Kim glances back.

 

Kim: “Right Datty! How’s James Evans deal with that?!”

 

Datura rolls over, grimacing in pain, holding her head in pain.

 

Kim: “WASLEY says stay the hell out of my affairs or he’ll do worse! Bye!”

 

Kim waves and skips off as the camera turns to show Datura still down and the scene cuts to commercial.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Asher Hayes is shown standing with Jesscia Winters backstage.

 

Winters: “Welcome back to Breakdown-“

 

Hayes: “Let them know you’re with the Champion. How else will they know that they have something to watch while everything is crumbling down.”

 

Winters: “I’m with Asher Hayes, the World Champion.”

 

Hayes: “Still. Even with James trying to take it from me. And now I have to team with him…christ.”

 

Winters: “Well I wanted to ask about the Chamber Match, Kirsten Scott’s cash-in. We’re waiting for confirmation of the names because we still don’t know if it will James Evans or someone else as the Underground Champion.”

 

Hayes: “Bullshit is what I call it. I’m the old guard. I’ve been busting my ass for YEARS to get here. I’m the only fresh thing around here and she wants to punish me. Probably because she’s got her head so far up the Frosts’s asses that she can’t go past it. I wish she’d have challenged me. At least then she’d get the hint. Whatever…whoever is against me? Whoever is lined up against me, it won’t matter. I’m not giving this up for any reason. I’ve waited too damn long and I’m not going to let this BS be what ends it. For your sake, for my sake, for SCW’s sake. For professional wrestling’s sake. And trust me…SCW is going to need me on top. With how many defenses I’m making, you’re not going to have anyone on my level soon enough and everything I’ve been saying….going to be true. SCW is nothing without me.”

 

Hayes turns and heads off. Winters nods and turns to the camera.

 

Winters: “The World Champion quite full of himself, but hopefully we’ll have answers about who awaits him and what awaits the Underground Champion in the Trios cash-in, the Chamber match, three on three, US, World and Underground Championships on the line, what Kirsten Scott came up with. That’s next week. And a hell of a way to end Breakdown in 2023.”

 

Sharper: “And that’s not all, Jessica. Thank you by the way. We’ll also find out who will get their first one on one World Title shot at End of the Year Special.”

 

Knots: “Maybe The One’s cash in will affect that too!”

Amy Chastaine vs. Colleen

Underground Rules

 

Blue and white lights flash in time with the music and the words up on the Tron:

"Tear me down, it won't build you up"

Amy Chastaine comes through the curtain just as the tempo of New Years Day's "Relentless" picks up with the chorus, the lights flashing to keep up. With one hand she flips her hair out of her face, with a confident grin, gazing out at the cheering crowd.

"Never gonna stop
Won't quit till I'm not breathing
Chase me all you want
It won't be enough"

Amy starts down the ramp, greeting and touching hands with a few fans along the way.

Phillips: “The following contest is an Underground Rules match and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from New Orleans, Louisiana… Amy Chastaine!”

"Never gonna stop
Even if these wounds keep bleeding
I'm not giving up
It won't be enough"

The music continues as she gets into the ring. Amy hops up on the apron, and enters the ring between the bottom and middle ropes. She goes to the corner near the ring steps, and hops up on the middle ropes, one hand in the air overhead, and the other on her hip, posing for the cheering fans. She hops down and runs to the opposite corner, doing the same pose. Amy then hops down as the music fades out and the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “Amy Chastaine in action for the first time since Under Attack when she bested a very game Kelsai Adamson, and you have to wonder how she feels about testing that surgically-repaired knee in this kind of match.”

Knots: “It may depend on how bloodthirsty the other person drawn for this match is, but Amy’s going to have to weather that storm to keep building some momentum for herself.”

Amy waits for a moment, eyes locked on the entrance to see who Fatal Fortunes has drawn for her. At that moment, a coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring.

Phillips: “And her opponent, representing The Playgirls Three… Colleen!”

She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring. Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring. Once inside she does look around the arena. She simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand, warming up before the bell rings.

Sharper: “You have to wonder where Colleen’s head is at, given Polly’s attitude as of late.”

Knots: “She could really use this win and especially over a name the caliber of Amy Chastaine, but the whole ordeal she fought through just to free Polly only for how unhinged she’s been as of late in the aftermath could have her distracted, and an Underground Rules match is the last place where you want your attention divided.”

The bell rings and Colleen immediately charges full steam across the ring, looking to crush Chastaine in the corner right out of the gate. Amy moves, but Colleen manages to stop herself before she crashes into the turnbuckles. Amy grabs her from behind in a waistlock, but Colleen throws a few back elbows to force some separation. She turns around and keeps throwing right hands at Amy’s face to force her back before she whips her into the ropes. Amy rebounds and Colleen goes for a clothesline, but Amy ducks it and runs off the opposite ropes before catching Colleen with a headscissors takedown! Colleen scrambles back to her feet and tries to throw another right hand, but Amy ducks it before dropkicking her in the knee, bringing her down into a prime position for a second dropkick to the face that sends her rolling out to the floor! The fans are cheering the early exchange as Amy takes a moment to watch for Colleen getting back to her feet. When it doesn’t come, she moves over to the ropes, but as she leans through to reach down for her she’s greeted with a kendo stick that cracks off her shoulder!

Knots: “Time for the toys to come out!”

Sharper: “An aggressive start from Colleen that Amy managed to weather, but we can’t forget that this match is Underground Rules and that’ll change a lot about how both ladies approach this.”

Colleen rises to her feet, kendo stick in hand as she sees Chastaine stagger back clutching at her shoulder. She rolls back into the ring before swinging and connecting with the shoulder again, leaving Amy gritting her teeth in pain as she tries to shield herself, but that just opens Colleen up for a swing into her gut that drops Amy to her hands and knees. She tries to catch her breath, but Colleen begins swinging madly, slamming the kendo stick repeatedly across her back until one blow finally snaps it in half, which only further riles up the fans. Colleen looks at the broken kendo stick for a moment before tossing it aside and stepping over Amy until she just drops, sitting down on her lower back with all of her weight.

Sharper: “Colleen with that furious kendo stick assault! Almost kind of mirroring Polly’s recent aggressive streak.”

Knots: “I wouldn’t be surprised if she was seeing Amy as Marissa Swanson and taking out all of her frustration over whatever’s going on with Polly because of her accordingly!”

Colleen rolls off of Amy and out of the ring, leaving her clutching at her back as she tries to get her bearings. Colleen begins digging around under the ring, pulling out what looks like a pair of dog collars attached by a chain, presumably in case a Dog Collar Match is spun again. Colleen looks at it with disgust before shaking her head and throwing it aside, resuming her search. She pulls out a steel chair before sliding it into the ring, and a moment later she’s pulling out a second steel chair. As she nods to herself, she slides back into the ring, only for the chair to be driven into her face courtesy of a spinning heel kick from Amy! The chair goes bouncing around the ring as Colleen hits the mat and rolls back out to the floor, but this time Amy takes only a moment to refocus before following her outside, where she spies the dog collar and chain. She grabs it and wraps the chain around her hand a few times before stomping on Colleen to keep her down, where she kneels down and starts raining down chain-assisted blows to her forehead! The fans are cheering her on even as she finally stops and unwraps her hand, only so she can start putting the collar around Colleen’s neck. It’s a struggle, especially as Colleen realizes what she’s doing and tries to fight her off, but she gets the collar secure and lands another strike between the eyes for good measure before she rolls into the ring, only to slide back out on the adjacent side and use the chain to force Colleen back to her feet. Colleen barely has her footing before Amy yanks the chain hard, jerking Colleen facefirst into the ring post!

Sharper: “Amy starting to get a little aggressive now and embrace the rules as Colleen is introduced to the ring post!”

Knots: “Weapons are your friend in this kind of match and Amy’s making sure to turn Colleen into her-”

Sharper: “Don’t even go there Jon, especially if Colleen hears you after what’s happened to Polly.”

Amy yanks on the chain and pulls Colleen facefirst into the post a second time, causing her to stagger back in a daze. She goes for it a third time, but Colleen shifts her weight and manages to block it before using her strength to try and pull Amy into it instead! Amy, however, lets go of the chain and slides under the bottom turnbuckle right into a front facelock that she turns into a snap DDT on the floor! The fans are on their feet as Amy pulls Colleen up enough to roll her into the ring, right over top of the first chair she’d slid in earlier. She pulls herself up onto the apron before slingshotting herself over the ropes and into a splash onto the chair! Amy hooks the leg.

Colleen kicks out! Amy wastes little time in turning her over before applying a fujiwara armbar, trying to rip Colleen’s arm out of its socket while she’s still laying uncomfortably on the chair. The referee checks in with her as she grits her teeth, trying to fight through the pain as she reaches around, ultimately grabbing onto the chain attached to her dog collar. As best as she can with one arm, she manages to toss part of the chain so it drapes around Amy’s face before pulling back, ultimately forcing her to break the armbar as she screams in pain and tries to stop the links from digging into her face. She rolls back to get herself free of the predicament, but when she tries to pull Colleen back to her feet, she buckles as Colleen whips a section of the chain right into her left knee! A few fans wince and groan as Colleen quickly pulls off the dog collar before sitting on Amy’s back and wrapping the chain around her throat, pulling her up into a modified camel clutch choke!

Knots: “This isn’t a Dog Collar Match, but that chain’s getting a lot of love tonight all the same.”

Sharper: “That shot to the surgically repaired knee and Colleen has Amy in a real bad way right now.”

The referee checks in with Amy, but she refuses to submit. Colleen just pulls back even more on the chain, trying to choke her out. Amy starts trying to get her feet back under her, but her knee refuses to cooperate with Colleen’s weight on her back as well. Slowly she starts crawling towards the ropes, despite the referee telling her that they won’t break the hold in Underground Rules. She ignores him as she gets close before managing to find enough energy to throw herself forward, sliding out of the ring while driving Colleen into the ropes to break the hold! Colleen rolls back before trying to pull herself up as Amy catches her breath and starts searching under the ring herself. Colleen throws the dog collars and chain aside before reaching through the ropes and grabbing Amy by the hair, but as she pulls her up she gets a face full of spray courtesy of a fire extinguisher! Colleen stumbles back, quickly trying to clear her eyes, but Amy rolls the extinguisher into the ring before sliding in and, as best as she can on one good leg, drives Colleen facefirst into it with a one-handed bulldog! She rolls her over into a cover.

Colleen kicks out!

Knots: “That’s one way to cool off Colleen!”

Sharper: “Amy desperately needed that opening after Colleen targeted her knee to turn this match back into her favor.”

Amy takes a moment to try and stretch her knee out as Colleen struggles to clear her vision. Amy kicks the extinguisher aside before grabbing one of the steel chairs from earlier and then hauling Colleen to her feet. She holds the steel chair against her back as Amy takes her over with a side belly-to-belly suplex that smashes her into the chair! Colleen cries out in pain as the fans are on their feet while Amy grabs the chain again. She uses her good leg to trap one of Colleen’s before bridging back into a muta lock, using the chain to give Colleen a receipt for her earlier choking! The referee checks in with her as Colleen refuses, her arms flailing as she tries to find any way out. Luckily for her, Amy doesn’t hold this for very long as her knee starts acting up on her again as she releases the hold and rolls away to try and work it out a bit more while Colleen desperately catches her breath. Once she thinks her knee will hold up for the time being, Amy grabs the chair again and unfolds it before pulling Colleen up into a front facelock, but any ideas of a Vortex are dashed as Colleen manages to lift Amy up before dropping her kneefirst onto the seat of the chair!

Sharper: “Colleen back to the knee and Amy Chastaine is in trouble here!”

Knots: “Colleen did her homework and she’ll do what she has to in order to get this victory!”

Amy staggers near the corner, clutching at her knee and wincing as Colleen grabs the other steel chair before cracking her in the back with it, knocking her against the turnbuckles! Amy leans there in pain as Colleen grabs the unfolded chair and positions it in front of Amy before using the folded one still in her hands to wedge Amy in place, trapping her in the corner in a position where her head is resting against the top turnbuckle. Once she’s sure Amy is right where she wants her, Colleen begins walking around the ring to the opposite corner as Amy squirms, trying to free herself. Colleen measures her before she gets a running start, intending to use the unfolded chair as a stepping stone for a more devastating version of The Facewarmer, but Amy manages to loosen the chair trapping her and throws it aside, and just as Colleen is stepping onto the seat of the chair, she surges forward and catches her with a Lightning Strike that sends her flying back off of it! The fans are on their feet as Amy takes a few deep breaths, trying to get her bearings as she checks her knee, knowing it’s not 100% right now but seeing if it can corporate for long enough as she slowly pulls herself up onto the top turnbuckle, eyeing Colleen as she uses the unfolded chair to help herself back up. Once she’s up enough, Amy balances herself as best as she can before leaping off and connecting with a BlackOut that drives Colleen’s face into the seat with enough force that the whole chair buckles! The fans are losing their minds at this as Amy rolls her over, pulling herself into a cover and hooking the leg.

The bell rings as "Relentless" by New Years Day hits again and Amy slowly rolls off of Colleen before carefully getting back to her feet, staggering a bit because of her knee and the damage her back took in this match. She still allows the referee to raise her arm in victory, however, as a smile comes to her face.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Amy Chastaine!”

Sharper: “Amy Chastaine weathering more damage to her knee and a fierce fight from Colleen to walk out of Fatal Fortunes with this Underground Rules victory.”

Knots: “More momentum that she really needed to hopefully build herself back up going into 2024, though for the sake of her knee, maybe the Underground Title should stay out of her consideration for the near future.”

The referee checks with Amy to make sure she’s alright and she nods in the affirmative before letting him tend to Colleen, who still looks out from having her head driven through the chair. Amy nods to her all the same before slowly climbing out of the ring and carefully making her way to the back.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as we cut to the big screen as we see a shot of a wheel of various matches spinning before flashing on matches like steel cage, underground, strap match, and others, before another ring spins showing various configurations: singles, tag, triple threat and so on. They both spin before the screen flashes and shows “Six Person Tag Team Match.”

 

Gigi Steward, Aisling & Lucas Knight vs. Mordred, Dawn Warren & Pain

 

“That's My Girl” plays throughout the arena as the stage and video screen goes dark. Gigi’s video plays on the screen and she steps out on to the stage wearing a black leather with tiny metal spikes on it and also a bandana covering her face. She walks up to the center of the stage and stretches her arms out embracing the fans support for her.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and is a six-person tag match. First, on her way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, she is Gigi Steward!”

 

She begins is march to the walk to the ring walking with a purpose. She gets to ringside and rushes into the ring rolling inside. She marches to the corner and hops on the middle ropes and throws out her own hand sign to the fans. She then rips off the bandana and tosses it into the crowd. Gigi hops off the ropes and takes off her jacket setting it aside for ring crew to pick up and she gets ready for her match.

 

Sharper: “Gigi Steward out first and not teaming with Katie. This is going to be a different circumstance for her.”

 

Knots: “And not a title match or for a title shot, so she’s going to be unhappy for that too. Instead, it’s a six person tag and you don’t know what you’re getting!”

 

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. ‘C’est La Vie’ by B*Witched begins to play and Aisling steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing a playful hot pink skirt with a matching hot pink tank top. She immediately waves at the crowd and blows a few kisses as the fans do start to cheer. Aisling genuinely smiles before she starts to slowly come down the ramp.

Phillips: “Her partner, hailing from Glendale, Utah, Aisling!”

As Aisling reaches ringside she slides into the ring under the bottom rope. She lays on the mat for a few seconds before she stands up and raises her arms into the air. The crowd continues to cheer her as "C'est La Vie" begins to fade out. Aisling looks excited, ready, and raring to go.

 

Sharper: “Interesting. Playgirls and the Stewards have had a few hard fought matches. Now a team here.”

 

Knots: “Put that aside get a win. And frankly, whoever gets the pin may be the one that gets attention depending on how this goes. Every win matters.”

 

Out go the lights with a flick of a switch as all eyes focus onto the stage, just then the screen lights up as the opening to Alpha King by Rev Theory begins to play over the P.A system. Then and only then we see a series of words in italic writing phase in and out on the big screen...

Spotlights all start to focus on the stage entrance now changing colours, shades of red, white and blue and during that time a silhouette of a man can be seen walking out onto the stage with a familiar aura of confidence. Just then the final words explode onto the tron causing the crowd to react accordingly as the music hit's into full swing...

.LUCAS KNIGHT.


The crowd's cheers fill the arena as the lights come back on fully to show Lucas Knight standing on the stage looking at the crowd, he wears a black leather jacket with the union jack emblazoned on it. He looks out to the crowd with a smirk and nods.
 
Phillips: “And finally, hailing from London, England by way of Santa Monica, California. He is the Alpha King, Lucas Knight!”
 
Just then video of Lucas' career plays out on the tron as the music ramps up even more. Then Lucas begins to walk down towards the ring slapping hands of some fans in the front row aisles. Once he reach's the bottom, Lucas slides under the bottom rope and quickly scales one corner and looks out to the crowd with another smirk as he now removes his jacket and hangs it over the steep post.
 
Knight begins to motion his hands across his waist signalling a title will be there soon enough before he jumps down to the canvas and begins to pull at the top rope and warm up for the match ahead.

 

Sharper: “Talk about a strange team. Lucas Knight, Gigi Steward and Aisling.”

 

Knots: “Some big experience though, so that’s a plus and Lucas Knight has won Trios Tournament before. So that could be another aspect to this! I mean he’s married to Trinity Street. He’s got to be able to handle some arguments!”

 

“Ain’t it Fun” by Paramore begins to blast across the speakers. As it does Dawn Warren makes her way out from behind the curtains smirking.

 

Phillips: “Their opponents, first from Los Angeles, California, the Pink Puppy, Dawn Warren!”

 

She claps the hands of the fans before sliding into the ring. She gets up and looks at the ring across from her and nods, looking around.

 

Knots: “L.A. well represented in this one.”

 

Sharper: “No doubt, and Dawn Warren could, depending on her partners, be in a great position to get some attention.”

 

The opening of “Blood Eagle can be heard blaring through the PA system. The camera will pan through the curtain as the faces of James Evans, Lues, Pain, Mordred, and Harker appear, igniting a negative reaction from the crowd, as they shower them in jeers. The camera remains on James as he breaks through the curtain. The boos intensify as James looks out at the crowd. From the back, follows Pain, Mordred, Harker, and Lues.

 

Phillips: “Her partners, both from the House of James, they are Mordred and Pain!”

The House of James slowly makes their way to the ring, as images of James winning various championships and hitting various moves appear on the screen, with the rest of the House of James members wreaking havoc in the ring. They reach the ring, surrounding it, before Lues makes her way up the ring steps and James follows. Pain rolls inside from underneath the bottom rope, as Mordred and Harker climb over the top. Once inside, they all turn and face the crowd who continue to boo. They all stare at the crowd before looking at one another, waiting for the match to begin. James, Lues and Harker exit as Mordred and Pain look at one another. Lucas Knight then steps up.

 

Sharper: “Dawn Warren teaming with the House of James and here comes Lucas Knight. Let’s not forget how the House of James made their start by targeting him!”

 

Knots: “And Lucas Knight clearly hasn’t forgotten even though House of James tried to put a beating on him to make sure he would!”

 

Lucas nails Pain with a hard right and then another Mordred with one. He turn and nails Pain again and then Mordred before knocking Pain down with a European uppercut. He turns and headbutts Mordred. He staggers back before Dawn jumps to the middle rope and dives back with a leg lariat. Lucas staggers back as the bell sounds. He turns and Dawn grabs him and hits an inside cradle as the House members exit, as do Gigi and Aisling.

Lucas kicks out. Both get up and Lucas kicks Dawn in the ribs and then turns and goes to swing at the House members but they walk around on the floor. Lucas turns and Dawn chops him. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. She then runs into the ropes and bounces off and Lucas elbows her down. He turns and tags in Aisling.

 

Sharper: “Hard back elbow and the experience the edge there.”

 

Knots: “Too bad Lucas wanted to fight House of James. Maybe Dawn could get some good experience there.”

 

Sharper: “Lucas laser-focused on them and now pacing on the apron as Aisling comes in to fight Dawn.”

 

Aisling spins Dawn into the corner. The camera cuts to Lucas who paces. Pain and Mordred look on from across the ring. James at this point can be seen looking at Lucas as he leads Lues and Harker away from the ring. Lucas watches them as Aisling chops Dawn twice in the corner. She whips Dawn across. Dawn bounces out of the corner and Aisling goes for a back drop, but Dawn spins though and lands behind her. She then hits a spinning heel kick as Aisling turns. Aisling rolls over and gets up and Dawn jumps up onto her shoulders and into a victory roll.

Aisling kicks out again. Both women get up and Dawn jumps up for a crucifix before turning into a sunset flip pin, but Aisling drops down, sitting on her chest.

Dawn kicks out. Both women get up and Aisling grabs Dawn and whips her into the ropes. Dawn bounces off and Aisling spins around her and pulls her down by the legs. Dawn hits the mat and Aisling hits an elbow drop.

 

Sharper: “A bit of misdirection. Aisling tripping up Dawn and then hits the elbow.”

 

Knots: “At least they don’t need to worry about the House of James. James Evans, Lues and Harker going for a walk.”

 

Sharper: “Lucas still keeping his eyes on them though.”

 

Aisling turns and grabs Dawn and pulls her up and turns and tags in Gigi. Gigi enters the ring and looks at Aisling before pulling her away from Dawn and forearming her in the jaw. Dawn staggers back and into the corner. Gigi kicks her in the ribs once and then again before hitting a running knee to face out of the corner. Dawn rolls to her back. Gigi goes for the pin.

Dawn kicks out. Both women get up and Gigi kicks Dawn and whips her into the ropes. Dawn bounces off and Gigi goes for a clothesline. Dawn ducks and bounces off the other side. Gigi turns only for Dawn to hit a flying headscissors. Dawn rolls over and gets up and turns and tags in Pain. Pain climbs to the top rope. Lucas turns and extends his hand as Gigi turns and Pain just dives off throwing himself right at Gigi with an awkward looking flip dive.

 

Sharper: “Pain in and diving off the top rope. No care for himself or for Gigi!”

 

Knots: “Made sure to drill her in the face. Maybe just trying to knock her out!”

 

Pain gets up and runs over and nails Lucas with a hard right. He turns and nails Aisling. Aisling drops down before running at Gigi as she gets up and hitting a diving headbutt strike to the head. Gigi hits the mat. Lucas enters the ring and gets up and grabs Pain, drilling him with a European uppercut. Pain falls back as the official stops Lucas and tells him to get back. Lucas slowly does as Pain turns and Gigi gets up and grabs Pain and spikes him with a DDT. Only to get up and get grabbed by Mordred who grabs her by the stomach and just muscles her up and drives her down with a slam. Gigi rolls over. Mordred then grabs Pain and just throws him out of the ring. Pain hits the mat as Dawn looks around. Mordred then grabs Gigi and pulls her up, moving her to the neutral corner.

 

Sharper: “Lucas out. He just wants the House of James.”

 

Knots: “Well he just made sure Gigi got the House of James, just planting her like a seed. Throwing her down with a piece of meat into a pan.”

 

Gigi looks up as Mordred elbows Gigi with a back elbow and then backs up and hits a second one and then pulls out and hits a third. He then grabs Gigi and goes to whip her across the ring. Gigi slips out and turns and Lucas reaches out, but Mordred walks over and grabs her by the arm and pulls her back in and then hoists her up and just drops her with a hot shot on the top rope. Gigi falls back. Lucas shakes his head as Aisling turns to him, saying something. Lucas ignores her as Gigi reaches out. Lucas does again and Mordred grabs Gigi and pulls her up before hoisting her up for a huge high angle back suplex. He goes for the pin.

Aisling runs over and breaks it up as Lucas runs at Pain who is on the apron and forearms him in the jaw. Pain falls back and then he turns and grabs Mordred. Lucas clubs him once and then again before Mordred elbows him in the jaw and the official stops Lucas for going for more. Aisling then dropkicks Mordred for good measure before rolling out of the ring. She extends her arm as Gigi reaches out.

 

Sharper: “Lucas getting overaggressive. Aisling actually helping Gigi!”

 

Knots: “She still needs to make the tag.”

 

Gigi crawls toward Aisling as Lucas is forced out. Mordred recovers and gets up as Gigi reaches out again only for Mordred to grab Gigi and pull her up and then scoop her up and hit a sidewalk slam. He goes for the pin.

Gigi gets her shoulder up. Mordred shakes his head and turns and grabs her. He pulls her up and then throws her into the corner. Mordred runs at her, but Gigi gets a boot up. Mordred recovers and runs back at her and Gigi boots him again and Mordred staggers back before Gigi runs out and hits a running knee to the face. Mordred falls to a knee and Gigi turns and dives, only for Lucas to get the tag. He enters and runs across and nails Dawn with a hard right, knocking her off and then turns and nails Pain with one. Mordred stirs and gets up and Lucas walks over and hits a European uppercut and then another and another. He turns and whips him into the ropes and Mordred bounces off and Lucas hits the Union Jack. Mordred falls to a knee. Aisling then runs across the ring and dives through the ropes at Dawn, knocking her down and into the announce table. Lucas turns and watches Mordred as he slowly stirs. Lucas runs into the ropes and Pain jumps up and grabs him. He tries to bite Lucas but Lucas pushes him off only for Pain to hit a jumping pump kick on the apron. Lucas turns around and Mordred kicks him in the ribs. He places his head between his legs and then hoists him up and hits the Fall of an Empire.

 

Sharper: “And just too much. Pain and Mordred knowing where they both were. Fall of an Empire.”

 

Knots: “And Gigi still down!”

 

Gigi starts to get up and looks over as Pain turns and hits a dive through the ropes onto Aisling.

Mordred rolls off as the crowd boos. The bell sounds.

 

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Dawn Warren, Mordred and Pain!”

 

Sharper: “And the teamwork of the House of James the difference!”

 

Pain gets up as Mordred then gets up and grabs Lucas and yells at him as Gigi looks on and rolls to the floor. Mordred continues to stand over Lucas as the crowd erupts in cheers. We then see Kimberly Williams running out from the back, brandishing two barbed wire bats. She runs down to the ring and rolls into the ring and then steps up as Mordred turns and kicks one out of her hands. Kim spins around and then turns and swings, nailing Mordred in the face with it. The crowd ohs. Kim then jumps up and drives the bat into the face again, cradling it in her arms before driving it down into Mordred. Mordred rolls over in pain as Kim gets up and turns and grabs the other one.

 

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams is out! And she’s out for blood!”

 

Knots: “Already attacked Datura! Now Mordred! Going for the House of James!”

 

Pain climbs onto the apron as Kim stomps Mordred a couple of times and Pain climbs to the top rope. Kim notices this, using the big screen and Pain dives off and Kim turns, swiniging the second barbed wire bat, nailing Pain in the ribs, which causes sparks to fly out of the bat, exploding in Pain’s stomach.

 

Sharper: “My God! Kim! She wired it to explode!”

 

Knots: “Oh God! She’s been planning this for a week!”

 

Sharper: “Pain is down. Maybe hurt. Maybe out!”

 

Knots: “Jesus!”

 

Kim then turns as the crowd ohs and a “Holy Shit!” chant begins. Kim then looks at Pain and then drives the bat into his stomach. She turns and Mordred stirs only for Kim to slam the bat into the back once and then again and again before officials and security reach the ring. They slide in and quickly try to stop Kim who gets one more good shot in on Mordred, blood coming from his shoulder and head. Kim then backs up and turns and rolls out of the ring. She then turns and looks around as the crowd erupts in cheers.

 

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams taking out two members of the House of James!”

 

Kim looks around and walks over to the camera.

 

Kim: “Kimmy Claus is here, House of James! And you and everyone in your cult is on my naughty list. Two down!”

 

Kim holds up two fingers before turning and heading to the back. The crowd cheers her as Mordred and Pain are down in the ring, officials now checking on them as the scene cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as Jessica Winters stands with Melissa Archer, the head of Simon Lyman’s new management team.

 

Winters: “Welcome back to Breakdown. I have Melissa Archer, a woman who represents Simon Lyman and you wanted to issue a public statement?”

 

Archer: “Yes, thank you Jessica. And I’m glad it’s you and not the other interviewer. I wonder if she’s capable of doing the job.”

 

Winters: “Jaina? She does a good job.”

 

Archer: “That’s why she’s antagonizing wrestlers in the ring. Plus, it is our official position that she tends to have a lot of fractured relationships with professional wrestlers and may have carried on some of her mother’s worst habits.”

 

Winters looks at Archer with disgust.

 

Archer: “Nonetheless, our statement here is with regard to the altercation that took place last week between Josh Hudson and Simon Lyman. This will be Simon’s only statement on the matter.”

 

Archer clears her throat and lifts the legal pad that was at her side.

 

Archer: “[Bleep] him.”

 

Archer brings the legal pad down.

 

Archer: “Thank you for your time.”

 

Archer turns and walks off. Jessica Winters turns to her.

 

Winters: “Wait? No follow-up. I…”

 

Winters shrugs.

 

Winters: “Back to ringside I guess.”

 

We cut to the big screen as we see a shot of a wheel of various matches spinning before flashing on matches like steel cage, underground, strap match, and others, before another ring spins showing various configurations: singles, tag, triple threat and so on. They both spin before the screen flashes and shows “Standard Singles Match.”

 

Ravyn Taylor vs. Datura

 

The camera cuts to the crowd where we see a group of red-shirted security walking in through one of the ground-level entrances. They line up in front of the fans for a moment and seem to be holding them back. Then the lights go out leaving the arena in complete darkness. The screen fills with images of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural address.

“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is—”

There’s a record scratch before a deep voice fills the arena.

“INFAMOUS!”

The opening of “Open Your Eyes” by Guano Apes hits the PA system.

“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”

The song gets stuck on the word and is then interrupted by the deep sound of the voice of Marilyn Manson.

“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as we cut to the backstage. We see Ravyn Taylor walking the corridors, accompanied by Lexy Chapel and Syren. We can hear the reaction from the live crowd as we follow the trio walking backstage. We then cut to the shot of the doorway again where we see Ravyn Taylor walk through. She pauses, a smirk on her face for a moment, before beginning to walk to the ring.

We follow the group as they make their way down toward ringside, with security keeping fans back in the aisles. Ravyn doesn’t seem at all distracted by the noise and movement of people around her however, keeping her eyes focused on the ring. She gets to the barricade she grabs hold of a chair that’s unused by a standing fan and pushes it up to the railing before stepping on the chair and then on the barricade to jump down on the other side.

Phillips: “Introducing, representing ‘Lexy Chapel Presents Dark Fantasy’, accompanied by Lexy Chapel and Syren, hailing from Hell, Michigan, she is an SCW Hall of Famer, an SCW Supreme Champion, and a BAD, BAD GIRL, this is RAVYN TAYLOR!”

Ravyn steps up the ring steps, pausing for a moment before encouraging Jason Phillips to walk over toward her. She points to the ropes, telling him to sit on the middle rope to lower it for her. He hesitates before doing exactly that, and she responds by vaulting over the top rope and just smirking at him. She then casually removes her jacket, tossing it into the corner before climbing the turnbuckles on the left camera side and looking out toward the camera.

 

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor out here and yes, with Lexy Chapel leading her. With Syren back in her corner.”

 

Knots: “Lexy Chapel presents Dark Fantasy. A deal with the devil. Literally. That’s what Lexy Chapel calls her.”

 

Sharper: “And last week, Syren picking up a win, getting back to her winning ways in a fatal four way casket match. Tonight, Ravyn in action. She was seen last week watching the World Tag Team Championship match, so clearly Dark Fantasy may still have designs there. Hoping for a rematch.”

 

As the opening notes of Sleep Token’s “The Offering” bounce around the arena, the lights go completely black. Two blue lights on either side of the ramp suddenly burst onto the stage, revealing clouds of fog billowing down the aisle. As the guitar begins to pick up, the lights flicker on beat. As the drums finally kick in, and the music explodes into intensity, Datura
slinks onto the stage, wincing in pain and looking at the ring. She then shakes her head before starting to make her way to the ring, not doing her usual entrance.

 

Phillips: “And her opponent, from Tampa, Florida, she is Datura!”

“And you are a garden entwined with all
You are the silence on sacred shores
You’ve got diamonds for teeth, my love
So take a bite of me just once.”

Datura stalks down the ramp before climbing onto the apron and wiping her boots. After stepping through the ropes, she immediately makes her way to the corner and climbs up the turnbuckles before taking a seat on the top one.

“I want to turn the page once again.
Take a bite.”

The music explodes once again, and with these final words, Datura leans back and hangs from ropes in her own tree of woe. She winces a bit before spinning down to the mat and looking at Ravyn. Ravyn smirks.

 

Sharper: “Datura out here, cleared in the sense that officials are satisfied she does not have a concussion. Passed any protocols there, before coming out there.”

 

Knots: “Not like she was going to get Kim or James. But Datura’s been more hard to pin down in recent weeks.”

 

Sharper: “The loss to Twisted & Sadistic clearly playing some role. This pull to James and getting involved with matters with Kim.”

 

The bell sounds. Ravyn runs over to Datura and forearms her in the jaw. Datura falls back into the corner and Ravyn forearms her again and again. She then leans in and starts to choke her.

Ravyn steps of and walks around the ring before turning and running at Datura and chopping her. The crowd woos. She then grabs Datura by the head and rakes her face along the top rope. Datura spins off and down to the mat.

 

Sharper: “Ravyn aggressive early.”

 

Knots: “Not just aggressive. Not even letting Datura get set. Clearly she knows of the injury. She saw Datura still hurting and isn’t going to let up.”

 

Datura gets up and turns and Ravyn runs at her and kicks her in the ribs. She hooks her up and hits a vertical suplex. Ravyn floats over for the pin.

Datura kicks out. She rolls over and starts to get up and Ravyn grabs her and chops her. More woos. She chops her again. More woos. She then grabs Datura and goes to whip her across the ring, but Datura spins through and sends Ravyn into the corner. Datura runs after. Ravyn goes for a boot, but Datura catches it. She then pulls Ravyn out and Ravyn slams hard on her back. She gets up and Datura grabs her arm and wrenches it and then spins through and then snapmares Ravyn over and then rolls through into a cravate. She holds on as Ravyn reaches around.

 

Sharper: “And Datura not going for the high impact, but looking top just stretch Ravyn out!”

 

Knots: “We know she can go as a technical wrestler. She’s one of the best.”

 

Sharper: “And we know she’s been influenced by James Evans’s messaging. But maybe the old messaging. The ultimate goal there.”

 

Ravyn fights as Datura holds on and both get up and Datura snapmares Ravyn over again before transitioning to a short-arm scissors and rolling Ravyn onto her stomach. She pulls up as Ravyn shakes her head. Lexy looks on, almost impressed as Syren cheers on Ravyn. Ravyn starts to slide back and Datura steps forward and spins around and then stomps on the arm. Ravyn rolls over in pain. She gets up and turns and Datura kicks her in the ribs and wrenches the arm again before forcing Ravyn to the mat with a guided snapmare and then locks in a headscissors around Ravyn’s head. She starts to squeeze as Ravyn kicks at the mat.

 

Sharper: “Now the headscissors. Maybe looking to make Ravyn pass out!”

 

Knots: “Imagine that! Lexy may be overjoyed even with this partnership!”

 

Datura keeps the hold on and Ravyn reaches around and swivels her hips and rolls to her hands and knees. Datura keeps the hold on, squeezing as best as she can before Ravyn manages to use her hands to free herself. Datura slides forward and Ravyn slides back. Datura turns and Ravyn hits a back elbow. Datura staggers as Ravyn runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Datura catches her on the rebound with a snap belly to belly suplex. She goes for the pin.

Ravyn gets her shoulder up and rolls over. She moves to the ropes and starts to get up. Datura grabs her and pulls her back and locks in a dragon sleeper!

 

Sharper: “And now a dragon sleeper!”

 

Knots: “Just pulling any and all holds she can. Thinking fast.”

 

Datura pulls back and looks out, smirking, hiding any of the pain she’s in as Ravyn reaches around. Syren looks on as Datura moves her back to the middle of the ring, but Ravyn then pushes up and Datura falls back, but Ravyn rolls through and counters into a dragon sleeper of her own. She pulls herself up and then drops Datura with a reverse DDT. She goes for the pin.

Datura kicks out. Both get up and Ravyn grabs the arm of Datura and goes to run past her for the arm hook neckbreaker, but Datura turns with it and then pulls Ravyn back. Ravyn turns as Datura rolls through into a mount and then turns and starts to go for the cross armbreaker. Ravyn moves her legs and manages to slide herself to the ropes. Datura still locks in the hold though.

Datura lets go and rolls back.

 

Sharper: “Datura still going for the armbar despite Ravyn in the ropes.”

 

Knots: “You’re facing Ravyn Taylor. If you can get any shot in, you do. You don’t let her take the first one!”

 

Ravyn rolls away and moves to the apron. She starts to get up and Datura walks over to her and grabs her by the head. She then pulls her over the top rope and Ravyn’s legs hang on the top rope as Datura then drops her with a rope-hung neckbreaker. Datura turns and goes for the pin.

Ravyn rolls over and Datura walks over and grabs her legs. She then stomps her in the stomach before pulling them up. She then goes for a sharpshooter, but Ravyn reaches up and nails her with a hard forearm and then another. Datura lets go and staggers back. She turns around and moves to Ravyn who takes her over with an inside cradle.

Datura kicks out. Both women get up and Ravyn swings, but Datura spins around her and into a waistlock. Ravyn holds onto her hands and runs forward, lowering her head and Datura goes face and chest first into the top turnbuckle. Datura staggers back and Ravyn then nails her with a superkick.

 

Chapel: “SUPERKICK! SOIREE!”

 

Syren turns to Chapel a bit surprised as Chapel shows some genuine excitement. We then see Chapel turning to Syren.

 

Chapel: “She’s learning!”

 

Datura stumbles back and to a knee, half out of it. She steps up only for Ravyn to run over and hit the Evolutionary Synthesis. Datura falls back. The crowd ohs and Ravyn rolls through for the pin.

The bell sounds. Ravyn rolls off as “Bad, Bad Girl” plays throughout the arena.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Ravyn Taylor!”

 

Ravyn gets up as Lexy jumps up to the apron. Syren enters the ring and joins the official in raising her arm. The crowd gives a bit of a mixed reaction.

 

Sharper: “Ravyn hits the Evolutionary Synthesis and wins this match. A back and forth technical brawl. Yes, I said those words.”

 

Knots: “Just trying to stretch each other and get whatever high impact they could. Ravyn wins. And Lexy and Ravyn are playing nice while Syren is celebrating!”

 

Sharper: “Amazing how we’ve come to this point with Dark Fantasy. It’s hardly all happiness, but on the surface, they seem to be united again.”

 

Ravyn walks around the ring as Datura winces in pain.

 

The Fatal Fortunes logo comes up on the screen. We cut to the big screen as we see a shot of a wheel of various matches spinning before flashing on matches like steel cage, underground, strap match, and others, before another ring spins showing various configurations: singles, tag, triple threat and so on. They both spin before the screen flashes and shows “Derek Adonis Presents the Pool of Lube Match.” The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: “What in the world?”

 

Knots: “Wait…Derek Adonis sponsored a match?!”

 

Sharper: “A pool of lube. It’s not two decades ago…wait…and who will be in this?”

 

Knots: “Well, we’ll see how good it is. If they can’t keep their hands on each other, it must be good!”

 

Sharper: “Whatever this is…it’s next!”

 

The scene fades to commercial.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as we cut to see a kiddie pool filled with a clear liquid. Cardboard stands of Derek Adonis are shown with “It’s KABLAMTASTIC!” written on them.

 

Knots: “There’s actually…it’s like Old School!”

 

Sharper: “That’s one way to look at it. How did Derek Adonis pull it off.”

 

Knots: “Better him than if Simon Lyman got one…we’d be having the first GFY match.”

 

Sharper: “GFY?”

 

Knots: “Get with the kids, Sharper!”

 

Kandis vs. Konrad Raab

The opening of "Whore" by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face as the crowd cheers. She turns and shows off her notorious rear end, swaying it back and forth...

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, then Kandis turns around, arms spread and feet wide apart as vocalist Maria Brink shouts:

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

Kandis starts down the ramp before turning and dropping to the floor. She then smirks as she walks over to a large kiddie pool filled with a clear liquid. Kandis just chuckles as she walks over. She then shrugs and smirks before leaning over and smelling it before shrugging.

Phillips: “The following contest is the KAMBLAMIA sponsored Lube match! First, on her way to the ring, from West Hollywood, California, she is Kandis!”

 

Kandis then looks around, awaiting her opponent.

 

Knots: “This is our former World Champion!”

 

Sharper: “And she seems to be relishing this. Why not? She says she’s shameless and she is. But who is she up against?”

Kandis looks around as a “Kandis!” chant breaks out only for
Feuer Frei” by Rammstein plays over the sound system. Kandis just cackles in happiness.

 

Sharper: “Oh my God!”

 

Knots: “No! Not like this!”

 

A few moments pass before Konrad Raab steps out from the back with his flanged German mace. He looks around and then turns to the pool where he sees Kandis.

 

Sharper: “Konrad Raab and Kandis! They’re meeting in this!”

 

Knots: “The look on Konrad’s face says it all!”

 

Konrad looks disgusted as he storms over to the side of the stage and looks down. Kandis looks at him and poses, before turning and daring him to come at him. Konrad looks around before turning and snapping at the backstage area before turning to the camera.

 

Konrad: “What is this some sick joke?”

 

Konrad turns and looks back. Kandis yells at him.

 

Kandis: “Bring it bitch!”

 

Kandis smirks as she then grabs some of the lube from the pool and starts to pour it on her chest. Konrad turns away.

 

Sharper: “Konrad Raab doesn’t want this match.”

 

Knots: “Is it not no-disqualification?”

 

Sharper: “Technically.”

 

Knots: “And I mean with how this started with the Jackals. He was the Iced Gimp! Come on! This all works! Full circle.”

 

Sharper: “Well, that’s one way of looking at it.”

 

Konrad Raab then turns and starts to walk down the stairs and down to the floor. Kandis keeps rubbing the lube all over her, embracing this, only adding to Konrad’s anger. She then grabs some more and starts to rub it on her ass as the crowd roars. Kandis even turns and shakes her ass a bit, trying to taunt Konrad. Konrad then turns and steps forward and swings, but Kandis ducks. Konrad then grabs her and slips down as Kandis then knees him in the face. Konrad falls back as the bell sounds.

 

Sharper: “Kandis using this to her advantage.”

 

Knots: “She’s already lubed herself up and Konrad can’t grab her.”

 

Sharper: “Hard knee to the face too.”

 

Konrad falls back and rolls over.

 

Konrad: “Oh. I’ll just paint this area red!”

 

Kandis: “Not if I do it first!”

 

Kandis then steps up and nails Konrad with a hard right and then another as Konrad nails her with one. He hits a European uppercut and Kandis staggers back. Konrad then runs at her, full of anger and Kandis turns and pushes him hard into the side of the stage. The crowd ohs as the impact echoes and Konrad goes through the side. Kandis smirks as she heads after him.

 

Sharper: “Raab through the side of the stage. My God!”

 

Knots: “Jesus! Raab just went right for Kandis and Kandis sending him into it.”

 

Kandis kicks at the hole, making it bigger and steps into the hole, under the stage. We hear rustling as someone hits the side from inside before we see Konrad dragged out and Kandis places his head against the side of the hole. Konrad yells out as Kandis grinds his forehead against it. Raab yells as Kandis press down and Konrad then elbows her in the ribs. Konrad rolls over and crawls out, blood dripping onto the floor.

 

Knots: “Konrad’s busted…in this lube match.”

 

Sharper: “Just think about what was said. Perhaps the bloodiest version of this match ever.”

 

Knots: “And depending on what’s in the lube, it could sting with the cut. I don’t know Adonis’s policies!”

 

Konrad rolls over and starts to get up. Kandis steps through the hole and runs over and kicks Raab in the ribs. Raab rolls over. Kandis kicks him again. She then stomps him in the face and then drops down to her knees, hammering away on the open wound. She then grabs him and pulls him up and knees him in the ribs. She drags him over to the pool, but Raab nails her in the ribs with a shot and then another before hitting a European uppercut. He then grabs her and hits an overhead belly to belly suplex into the pool. Lube flies up from the impact and Kandis rolls over to her side, in the middle of the pool. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: “Raab just throwing Kandis overhead.”

 

Knots: “And into a pool of lube! Lube everywhere!”

 

Kandis rolls over and Raab gets up and looks at her with disgust before walking over to her and then grabbing her and going to push her down to practically drown her in the lube before Kandis grabs some lube and throws it into the eyes of Raab. Raab lets go and spins around, struggling to see. He then turns and Kandis kicks him in the stomach. Raab winces and Kandis then kicks him in between the legs. Konrad drops to his knees and Kandis then takes some lube and dumps it all over Raab’s head. She then grabs some more and squeezes his cheeks before pouring some into his mouth.

 

Sharper: “Force feeding him it…”

 

Knots: “I hope it’s non-toxic!”

 

Sharper: “I assume it’s for internal use…”

 

Knots: “It’s Derek Adonis created lube. I have many questions!”

 

Konrad coughs, spitting it out and Kandis forearms him with a hard right and then another, blood coming down his face, mixing with the lube that Kandis has pour on him. Kandis then knees him in the face. He falls back and out of the pool. He rolls over and crawls away briefly, puddles of lube forming under him. He gets up, slipping a bit and pulls something from his gear before Kandis turns and grabs him, but Konrad turns and stabs her in the forehead with a fork. Kandis staggers back and Konrad nails her again. Kandis falls to a sit on the side of the pool. Konrad grabs her and grinds the fork into the forehead of Kandis, blood starting to come down her face.

 

Sharper: “And now Kandis is bleeding. This is the bloodiest lube match ever.”

 

Knots: “Don’t try this at home, any college frats. This is not something you need to experience. Don’t watch Old School.”

 

Konrad keeps grinding before pushing her back and into the pool. He then starts to choke. Kandis struggles as Konrad looks down at her, berating her. Kandis struggles a bit as Raab keeps pushing down and Kandis again grabs a handful of lube and throws it into the face of Konrad. Konrad staggers back, blinded. He then spins around and Kandis gets up and then runs a bit to close the distance, even sliding a bit from the lube and hitting the Gratuitous to the face of Konrad. The crowd ohs.

 

Knots: “Ass to the face…I think a sliding ass to the face!”

 

Sharper: “And don’t get us wrong. Ridiculous stipulation aside, I hope it’s clear how much these two hate each other. They wanted to fight and they’re going to make the most of this.”

 

Knots: “Kandis is just more comfortable in this environment. She’s using it to her advantage.”

 

Sharper: “She says she’s shameless. This is a women who is proud of her conquests, her sexuality, and in this moment, it’s leading to a psychological edge over Konrad Raab…and a pin!”

 

Kandis then goes for the pin.

Konrad gets his shoulder up. Kandis then mounts him and nails him with a series of hard right hands, each one targeting the wound that she opened up earlier. Blood streams down both of their faces. She then gets up and walks around the area and then to the pool before running over and kicks Konrad in the side as he gets up. He rolls over. Kandis follows after him and suddenly, Raab grabs her by her top and pulls her hard face first into the edge of the rampway. Kandis falls back and rolls over, more blood coming down her face. Konrad staggers as he grabs Kandis and Kandis kicks him in the stomach. He stumbles back again and to the side of the stage. Kandis gets up, blood streaming down her face and turns before Konrad catches her with the butt of the flanged mace he brought, catching Kandis in the jaw. She turns and staggers over and turns and Konrad grabs her and turns her around before hoisting her up and turning, hitting the Vertebreaker into the pool of lube. The crowd ohs. Raab falls back onto her, exhausted.

 

Sharper: “My God! The mace! Now the no! No! Back and head first into the lube!”

 

Knots: “Jesus! Trying to break her in half!”

 

Sharper: “And he’s on top!”

The bell sounds.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Konrad Raab!”

 

Knots: “Raab just pinned Kandis in a pool of lube!”

 

Sharper: “The mace shot caught Kandis. Several shots to the head and Kandis just couldn’t defend it. And Raab pinning Kandis. But I don’t know if that’s the revenge he wanted.”

 

Knots: “Won’t be for Kandis. Both are a bloody mess. Look at that pool!”

 

The pool is an odd mix of clear lube and blood as Kandis is down in it. Raab pushes out of it and rolls over, disgusted. He then looks at Kandis before turning to the official and shoving him down. He then looks around and looks at himself before falling to a knee, showing the impact of the short war these two had. Konrad gets up.

 

Konrad: “Where is my mace!”

 

Konrad looks around.

 

Konrad: “Give it to me!”

 

Konrad turns and staggers around as a few officials come on the scene to keep Raab from doing more damage. Kandis starts to stir and a few officials check on her as the scene cuts away.

Diamond Steele & Deanna Frost vs. Amelia Blythe & Selena Frost

 

Diamond and the Gem Stones begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various instruments as we are able to see Kate “Diamond” Steele emerging from the curtain. She has a microphone in her hands sings as loudly as she can. Kate smirks as she just sings loudly which results in even more cheers. Diamond finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd. She waves at them off as she throws the microphone to the side. She smirks as she opens up a pocket mirror and takes a moment to admire how beautiful her hair is as she waits for the match to begin.

 

Sharper: “Tag team action here and we’re going to see at least, potentially, one odd team here.”

 

Knots: “That’s the thing. Anything is on the table!”

 

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, wearing the SCW United States Championship, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet. 

Phillips: “Her partner, from Manhattan, New York, she is the SCW United States Champion, Deanna Frost!"

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the Queen's Guard jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring. On the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to normal. She then turns to Diamond as Diamond just glares at her. Deanna shakes her head and hands off her title.

 

Sharper: “Talk about an odd team. Deanna Frost teaming not with her wife, who still is an option, but Diamond Steele.”

 

Knots: “Time to see how good of a tag wrestler she is. Did she pick something up or was it all her link to her wife?!

 

“No. 14 Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Blythe makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. After a moment of this, the Beethoven piece begins to fade and seamlessly transitions into “Victorious” by Skillet, and as it does La Pequeña Luz skips out from behind Amelia and stands beside her, giving her a pep talk before planting a quick kiss on her cheek which brings a smile to Amelia’s face.

 

Phillips: “Their opponents, first, accompanied by La Pequena Luz, from Oxford, England, one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, Amelia Blythe!”

 

The two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia’s look growing more determined and battle-ready as Luz continues her pep talk. Once they reach ringside, Amelia pulls Luz into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and mask and handing them off to Luz on the outside, Luz taking the opportunity to give some last minute advice and encouragement.

 

Sharper: “And Amelia Blythe will be without her usual partner. One half of the World Tag Team Champions now in this one. Luz already picked for all of her matches except the TV Championship.”

 

Knots: “So what is Amelia thinking?”

 

Sharper: “Given the friendship between the Frosts and Light in the Darkness, maybe that she wishes she was on the other side of the ring.”

 

Knots: “So who is her partner?”

 

Amelia looks across as Deanna says something to her. Amelia nods as she walks around the ring. Diamond keeps stretching.

 

BELIEVE IT!

The SCW Universe are on their feet as  “Kings and Queens” by Ava Max as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens. Deanna turns to the back as does Amelia as the crowd erupts in boos.

 

Sharper: “Oh my God!”

 

Knots: “Opposite side to Deanna!”

 

Sharper: “So she is here?”

 

Her music plays throughout the arena for several moments longer as the spotlights circle the arena. The boos continue to echo throughout the arena as Deanna looks at the back. Amelia does too. Deanna goes from excited to concerned as the music continues through the first verse and into the chorus. We then see Deanna shaking her head as the crowd now starts to cheer. Diamond Steele then runs across the ring and blasts Amelia Blythe with a hard right. She nails her again and again as Deanna turns as the bell sounds. Deanna goes over to stop Diamond, but Diamond shrugs her off and continues to attack Amelia as Deanna backs up and is forced out of the ring by the official.

 

Sharper: “Selena not showing up. Not arriving. Not coming out.”

 

Knots: “Didn’t want to face her wife?”

 

Sharper: “Deanna looked disappointed. We saw the bus earlier. But Diamond Steele hammering away on Amelia.”

 

Knots: “Either way, the crowd seems happy Selena isn’t here!”

 

Sharper: “I still struggle to understand why!”

 

Steele kicks Amelia in the ribs over and over. Luz then looks and asks if she can hop on the apron. Deanna even says yes, but Diamond nails her with a hard right, knocking her down.

 

Diamond: “No. Keep her there! She doesn’t have a partner. That’s the way it goes!”

 

Diamond then turns to Amelia who suddenly grabs Diamond and spins her into the corner. The crowd roars as Amelia hits a European uppercut and then another and another. The official calls for the break and Amelia instead whips her across the ring. She then stops as Deanna tags herself in. Diamond turns and goes to step forward, but Deanna grabs her and turns and throws her out of the ring. The crowd roars. Deanna then turns and looks at Amelia. Deanna and Amelia nod before circling the ring. They then lock up in the middle.

 

Sharper: “Amelia getting Diamond out. And now Deanna and Amelia going to go at it.”

 

Knots: “A bit of a different style to say the least!”

 

They push back on one another and Deanna moves into a side headlock, but Amelia slides out and then into one of her own. She hits a headlock takedown, while Deanna counters with a headscissors. Amelia nips out. Both get up and Deanna hits a headlock takedown on Amelia and Amelia counters with a headscissors. Deanna nips out. Both get up and Amelia hits an arm drag. Deanna rolls through and Amelia turns and Deanna takes her down with an arm drag. Both get up and Deanna goes for a hip toss. Amelia spins through and tries one of her own. Deanna blocks it and nails her in the stomach with a shot. Deanna then pulls her into a knee and hits a gutwrench suplex. She goes for the pin.

Amelia kicks out. Both get up and Deanna goes for a lunging forearm strike, but Amelia ducks and spins around and grabs Deanna and hits a bridging back suplex.

Deanna rolls off and turns and runs into the ropes. This knocks Diamond off and Amelia hits a European uppercut.

 

Sharper: “Hard uppercut as Amelia catches Deanna. This is just a back and forth affair. Cover!”

 

Amelia goes for the cover.

Deanna kicks out. She rolls over and Amelia gets up. Both get up and Amelia grabs her by the head and hits a vertical suplex. Deanna rolls over and stirs as Amelia then turns and heads over to the ropes and goes to wait. Deanna starts to get up and Diamond grabs her and pulls her to the floor. She then turns and runs her face first into the barricade. Amelia staggers back. (1) Diamond then turns and sends Amelia into the ring apron. (2) She then rolls her in. Deanna snaps at Diamond. Diamond tells her to pin, but Deanna instead pulls Amelia up. She then drags her up before Amelia counters with an inside cradle.

Sharper: “Deanna not wanting the assist-“

 

Knots: “Diamond doesn’t care. She wants the win. She wants a win over Amelia Blythe!”

 

Deanna turns and rolls over as Diamond climbs onto the apron and demands a tag. Deanna turns and Amelia hooks her up and hits a northern lights suplex into a bridge.

Deanna bridges up. The two spin around as the crowd roars and Deanna gets Amelia by the arms. She then drops down, into a backslide.

Amelia kicks out. Both women get up and Deanna hits a European uppercut of her own and then hits a straight kick to the ribs. She runs into the ropes, bouncing off and Amelia catches her with a European uppercut. Deanna and Amelia roll away from one another as the crowd looks on, cheering. Both start to get up as Diamond looks on, demanding a tag.

 

Sharper: “Deanna and Amelia just leaving it all in the ring. The respect between these two when Amelia’s partner didn’t show.”

 

Knots: “Selena Frost! Deanna’s wife!”

 

Deanna and Amelia get up and Deanna then forearms Amelia in the jaw once and then again before kicking her in the ribs. She runs into the ropes only for Amelia to hit a back elbow. Deanna staggers back and turns around and Amelia jumps up and grabs Deanna and goes for a reverse STO, but Deanna walks out and hits a STO of her own. She rolls her over and hooks the leg.

Amelia gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and reaches for the ropes. Luz cheers her on as Deanna gets up and turns and kicks Amelia in the ribs before nailing her again and Deanna runs into the ropes. She hits the ropes and Amelia spins around Deanna on the rebound and hits a snap German suplex. Deanna rolls through to the ropes. Amelia then gets up and turns and runs at Deanna. Deanna ducks and Diamond hits a shoot kick to Amelia as she hits the ropes. She turns around and into Deanna who hits her with the Burnout.

 

Sharper: “Oh! Diamond snuck a kick in. And look at her. Proud of herself.”

 

Knots: “You want any win. Anything to help. And Diamond’s needed one! And right into the Burnout!”

 

Diamond smiles as Deanna turns and hooks the leg.

The crowd roars and the bell sounds. Deanna rolls off and turns to Amelia.

 

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Diamond Steele and Deanna Frost!”

 

Luz pulls herself onto the apron as Diamond Steele smirks as she walks around the ring, holding her arm up.

 

Sharper: “Diamond is over the moon. Luz coming in and I think Deanna is finding out what just happened. Amelia Blythe down.”

 

Knots: “And imagine if Selena actually showed up.”

 

Sharper: “Now I’m wondering what the hell happened there? Did Selena agree to show up? Or is someone in SCW about to get a rude awakening?”

 

Knots: “Her bus was here!”

 

Diamond Steele heads to the back smiling. She then turns and backs up and turns. Deanna talks to Luz as Luz and her help Amelia up. Amelia talks to both before we cut to the stage where Diamond goes to walk through the curtain and stops. She then looks forward as a black mist starts to billow out from the back. The crowd doesn’t notice this at first, but Diamond backs up and looks around before turning and heading to the side of the stage and quickly running down the steps. She backs away as the camera cuts to the entrance again.

 

Sharper: “The black smoke!”

 

Knots: “They locked Enigma in the boiler room. He may still be there, but he’s still getting to Diamond Steele!”

 

Sharper: “And what about Crystal Zdunich too?”

 

The camera remains on the black smoke before we cut away.

 

The Fatal Fortunes logo comes up on the screen. We cut to the big screen as we see a shot of a wheel of various matches spinning before flashing on matches like steel cage, underground, strap match, and others, before another ring spins showing various configurations: singles, tag, triple threat and so on. They both spin before the screen flashes and shows “SCW Television Championship on a Forklift Match.”

 

Knots: “Oh good. We’re getting the nutso stuff tonight!”

 

Sharper: “TV Title on a forklift. So after this match where Amelia and Deanna have to deal with the emotions of Selena Frost not returning. Luz has to come back out and compete in this? Title on the line!”

 

The scene fades to black.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

We cut to see a forklift sit up next to the ring, the forks slightly off the ground.

 

Knots: “Seriously! We need to have some control here!”

 

Sharper: “Fate getting a bit more outlandish tonight. A forklift title match.”

 

Knots: “So what the hell is that?”

 

Sharper: “Jason Phillips may be able to help us out.”

 

The bell sounds.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is a title on a forklift match for the SCW Television Championship. You win the match, and the title, by managing to retrieve the title from the raised forks of the forklift.”

 

The SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen.

 

Adam Allocco vs. La Pequena Luz

“Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play as bright white lights begin flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. La Pequeña Luz skips out onto the stage with the kind of smile that could light up an entire room all on its own plastered to her face, dancing a bit to her theme song and waving her arms in an attempt to get the crowd pumped up, drawing cheers. The SCW Television and World Tag Team Championship belts sit over her shoulders. As she looks down towards the ring, the smile fades as something seems to flicker through her mind, but she’s snapped out of the trance as Amelia Blythe slowly makes her way out, placing a comforting hand on Luz’s shoulder.

 

Phillips: “First, on her way to the ring, accompanied by Amelia Blythe, from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico, she is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, and defending SCW Television Champion, La Pequena Luz!”

 

With a quick kiss to her cheek, Luz’s smile returns as the two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia trying her best to keep up with Luz’s energetic skipping. Once they reach ringside, Luz pulls Amelia into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she hops up onto the apron, grabbing the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. Luz begins skipping around the ring, motioning once more for the fans to make some noise as they answer this call while Amelia takes her place in Luz’s corner on the floor, chuckling to herself and shaking her head at Luz’s energy. Luz removes her robe and hands it off to Amelia, who gives some last minute advice and words of encouragement as she does so. Luz also hands off her Tag Title to Amelia. She hands the Television Championship to the official.

 

Sharper: “And right after what Amelia went through, they’re back out and have to deal with this.”

 

Knots: “I mean it could’ve been worse…a lube match. But the title is going to placed on a forklift! Plus, they get their entrance again!”

 

We see the official walk over to the forklift, placing the title on it. He then heads over to the driver’s seat and pushes a lever, leading the forks to rise up further and into the air. Luz just walks around the ring, shaking her head.

 

Phillips: “And her opponent and challenger…”

 

The arena lights shutter off. A single beam of golden light is cast down onto the center of the stage, accompanied by a loud bass rumbling from the sound system. A light snowfall of sliver confetti falls within the pillar of light. The rough guitar chords of 'Wired' by JJ Wilder strike the sound system. Adam steps out, head hung low, into the light. He slowly looks up, a blinding flash of light accompanies him dropping down onto his knee. He raises his arms, almost as if he's calling out to God.

“Fast cars good life what you waiting for?
Grow up perfect life knocking at your door
I’ve been working for myself since seventeen
Taking orders getting low on self-esteem”

Adam stands up and shoots a pose where he flexes his biceps before kicking his foot up into the air and swinging towards the ramp. He saunters down slowly, while he cocks a wily smile toward any nearby cameras. He forms a triangle with both hands. He looks at the forklift and smirks.

“Wake up, same clothes, off I go to hell again
Making money, sinking when I’m trying to swim
I’m tired but I know a guy that has a cure for that
I’m wired, that’s the only way that I stay golden….”

Adam struts up the ring steps, now whipping his jacket to reveal his rehabbed midsection, then posing once more against the ropes out on the apron. He kicks up and over and lands on his feet. He tosses the jacket to the referee nonchalantly. 

“There’s something better than this
I crack my teeth, bite down and grab it
Need something better than this
Break through the prison of my habits”

Adam immediately heads over to a corner and forms the triangle hand gesture again.

 

Sharper: “Adam Allocco getting the draw!”

 

Knots: “Alistaire won’t be out here. Recovering from earlier, but Adam can help him get another title he should’ve won while he was hurt.”

 

Sharper: “Maybe. Maybe that is what Adam is thinking. Then again, this will be a unique one.”

 

The bell sounds. Luz then steps up and Adam immediately rakes the eyes of Luz. Luz stumbles back as Adam turns and rolls to the floor. He heads over to the forklift and quickly jumps up to grab at it, but it’s just out of reach. He then turns and head over to the control of the forklift and reaches in, only for Luz to run over to the corner, run up the corner and then dive off the top rope with a flip dive into Adam, causing him to fall down and both end up in the entrance way.

 

Sharper: “Luz from the top!”

 

Knots: “Adam tried to hit and run. And well, Luz then ran and hit!”

 

Sharper: “And took down Adam Allocco with a huge suicide dive from the top rope.”

 

Luz rolls over. Adam turns and starts to crawl toward the ring. He starts to get up and Luz hits an overhead strike. The crowd woos. She hits another one. More woos. She then goes to pull Adam away, but Adam spins through and sends her into the ribs, but Luz jumps to the apron and then hits a moonsault, taking Adam down. The crowd cheers again. Luz rolls over as Adam rolls away.

 

Sharper: “And another high-risk move. The moonsault, off the apron.”

 

Knots: “Adam…get to the controls. Or just climb onto the apron and jump. Pull it down!”

 

Luz slowly gets up and turns and heads over to Adam and nails him with a forearm shot and then another. She then grabs him and goes to think about something, but Adam then backs up and pulls her in and hits a belly to belly suplex into the barricade. Luz rolls over, holding her lower back as Amelia looks on concerned. Adam rolls over as the crowd ohs. Adam winces and gets up. He then turns and walks over to the ring. He grabs at the ring apron and looks at the title. He then climbs onto the apron and walks over and reaches over, trying to reach the forks. They’re just far enough away. Luz slowly fights her way up, clearly in pain, and then runs at Adam. She tries to go for Adam’s legs, but Adam hops over a clothesline attempt and then turns and kicks Luz in the face. Luz hits the mat. Adam looks at her and shrugs before diving off with an elbow drop off the apron. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: “And Allocco driving his elbow, his weight, into Luz.”

 

Knots: “Just keeping her down. Use his weight. And he could just walk over, bring it down and take the title. Just like that!”

 

Adam gets up and smirks as he calls for the end. He then walks over to the forklift controls and sits on the chair. He reaches in and starts to lower the forklift. The crowd looks on, some cheering, some booing as Luz rolls over, as the forks lower increasingly closer to near her head. Adam then brings the forks down to head level before stepping out. He then walks around and over to the TV Title. He grabs it and smiles but then Luz jumps up and grabs the other fork, swinging off of it and hitting a dropkick to the stomach of Adam. Adam falls back as Luz lands hard on the ground.

 

Sharper: “And Luz using her body, taking a risk again. She hit Allocco hard, but landed hard on the mats.”

 

Knots: “The forks are down. So just reach up and pull the title off!”

 

Sharper: “Had to run interference though to stop Adam Allocco. He was getting a bit too relaxed with this.”

 

Allocco rolls over and starts to get up. Luz rolls over too and crawls to the ring. Allocco pulls himself up and turns and Luz hits a straight kick to the ribs. She then hits an overhead strike before running to the steps behind Allocco. She turns and jumps to the apron. She turns and goes for a tornado DDT. Allocco however then catches her and goes to run her into the barricade across the way, but Luz then drops down and shifts her weight, causing Adam to flip forward into the barricade. The crowd ohs. Luz rolls over. The crowd cheers as Allocco rolls over, wincing in pain.

 

Sharper: “Luz shifting her weight. Getting crafty against the experienced Adam Allocco!”

 

Knots: “Adam! Get your head into this. This is for Alistaire!”

 

Sharper: “Well the precedent has been set.”

 

Allocco slowly gets up and grabs at the ringpost. Luz gets up and staggers forward before seeing Adam getting up and Adam leans forward only to stand up and Luz jumps up and hits the Lights Out on the mats. The crowd ohs. Luz rolls over. Amelia nods and applauds as Luz winces. She staggers forward and reaches up to the title. She grabs it and slides it off the fork and pulls it down. The crowd roars as the bell sounds.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and still SCW Television Champion, La Pequena Luz!”

 

Luz’s music plays as Luz leans against the ring. Amelia heads around and joins her. The official raises Luz’s are.

 

Sharper: “Three out of four aint bad. Luz retains the TV Title. Light in the Darkness, last week, retaining the World Tag Team Championship.”

 

Knots: “And they can get back to normal, but Adam…what are you going to tell Alistaire?”

 

Sharper: “What are you going to tell Alistaire…give me a break. I’m sure he’ll be fine!”

 

Luz and Amelia walk around the forklift and start to head to the back. Adam rolls over, wincing in pain as the scene cuts away.

 

Sharper: “A unique night so far…and we’re just rolling on. What’s next?”

 

The Fatal Fortunes logo comes up on the screen. Sharper: “Well we’re going to find out who walks out tonight the Underground Title. Tables! Ladders! Chairs! It’s next!”

The howl of a wolf echoes throughout the arena, sending chills down everyone’s spines. The howl is followed by a low bass line which is eventually joined by drums and guitars, then the vocals kick in.

“Watching sand fall...
And listening for the knock
Upon my door (Listen)
And waiting...
For Promised Land”

FWOOSH!!! A series of red, gold and silver fireworks go off at the top of the ramp in a shimmering cascade. A roaming spotlight seeks to penetrate the darkness and find something... Or, perhaps, SOMEONE. A momentary silence, then...

POW!

Four blue fireworks go off and engulf the stage in their light. And as they die away, the darkness falls once more. But it’s not complete... The roaming spotlight catches glimpses of movement, but it’s too indistinct.

“Standing deep in life
My ring of brass
Lay rusting on the floor
Is this all?
Cause it’s not
What I expected!”

BAM!

White-hot green fireworks go off now and this time the spotlight DOES catch someone. Standing there amid the ghastly green glow is the one and only “Wolfsbane” Adam Brock! The fans erupt in a cavalcade of screaming and applause that seems to catch him off guard, but only for a second. He grins wickedly and makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans and pausing to hug a little boy.

Phillips: “Making his way to the ring.... Wolfsbane Adam Brock!”

Sharper: “Great opportunity for Adam Brock tonight. SCW may not be familiar with a lot of his history, but he knows his way around a ring, James Evans isn't getting thrown fresh meat here tonight.”

Knots: “I've looked up some of his work, I'm impressed. He also kinda reminds me of someone... I can't quite put my finger on it.”

Brock grins and looks around at the assembled tables, ladders, and chairs around the ring. He then jogs up the ring steps before grabbing the top rope and catapulting over it to stand in the middle of the ring. Once his feet make contact, pyro of purple confetti erupts from the ringposts. It showers down over him as he turns a slow circle in the ring, basking in the cheers of the adoring fans. When the last of the confetti touches down, Adam does one final turn to face the ramp, hands resting on his legs above his knees.

Sharper: “Quite an entrance for Wolfsbane, and the fans love it.”

Knots: “Where's maintenance? Cleanup on aisle three!”

Phillips: “And his opponent...”

The opening of “Blood Eagle can be heard blaring through the PA system. The camera will pan through the curtain as the face of James Evans appears, igniting a negative reaction from the crowd, as they shower him in jeers. The camera remains on James as he breaks through the curtain. The boos intensify as James looks out at the crowd. He carries the Underground Championship belt in one hand, draped over his arm. From the back, follows Harker and Lues of the House.

Phillips: “Being accompanied by Harker and Leus, he is the SCW Underground Champion... James Evans!”

The House of James slowly makes their way to the ring, as images of James winning various championships and hitting various moves appear on the screen. They reach the ring, Harker and Lues on either side of and slightly behind James. James makes his way up the ring steps, before turning and facing the crowd, who continue to boo. They all stare at the crowd before looking at one another. James eyes the furniture around the ring, and shakes his head.

Sharper: “James Evans, the Underground Champion, looking out distastefully at the objects brought out here for this TLC match.”

Knots: “He's half the House short, too. Pain and Mordred not out here thanks to Kim!”

The music fades as James turns to face inside the ring. A hook has been lowered from the ceiling, and James hands the belt to the official, who then attaches it to the hook, and the crowd applauds as it rises.

Sharper: “There we see the title belt being raised above the ring. It couldn't be hung before, we didn't know what kind of match this would be. But we do know, Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. No pinfalls, no submissions, no DQs. Just climb a ladder and retrieve the belt.”

Knots: “Always easier said than done.”

The bell rings. We see Harker and Lues take a few steps back away from the ring. James steps up to Brock and speaks, but we can't hear his words. Brock seems to listen, but his expression tells us he isn't buying whatever James is selling. Brock shakes his head, and steps back, assuming a fighting stance. James shrugs, and throws a flat palm into Brock's face, mugging him backwards. The crowd boos as Brock steps back, but holds his ground. Brock glares, then advances towards James. James grabs him and they lock up, but only for a moment as James spins and sends Brock into the corner. James follows and hits a knee strike into Brock's ribs. James backs up and Brock steps out of the corner, only for James to grab him, spin around, and whip him into the far corner diagonally across the ring. Brock hits the turnbuckles as James runs in, looking for another knee strike. Brock sees it coming though and rolls out of the corner. James nearly hits the post, but grabs the ropes just in time to save his knee.

Sharper: “James Evans trying to ping pong Adam Brock around the ring, but Brock is a veteran and saw it coming a mile away.”

Knots: “James is gonna have to retool his game plan early on if he was thinking of wearing Adam down like this.”

James turns around and Brock is waiting for him. He grabs James and pulls him into a lock up then immediately into a standing switch, grabbing James from behind. Brock then tries to lift James for a suplex but a loud CLANG! startles him and he lets go. Brock tuns and the shot widens to show Harker holding a steel chair, that's clearly been used to hit the ringpost, as it has a dent in the back.

Knots: “Harker with the distraction! All legal, folks.”

Sharper: “The House making their presence felt early on. And take a look behind Harker!”

The camera cuts to Lues, who is busy setting up a table at ringside.

Knots: “It looks like they came out here with plans and they want to get things rolling.”

Brock snipes at Harker, who gives no reaction. James uses the moment to grab Brock from behind and drop him with a bulldog. The crowd oohs. James gets up and points to Harker, then to a ladder. Harker drops the chair with a nod, then goes to the ladder and grabs it. He slides it into the ring. James grabs it and starts to set it up. Brock is to his feet and grabs the other side of the ladder, preventing James from planting it where he wants it. James yells at Brock through the rungs, but Brock holds his ground. James lets go, shoving the ladder as he does. Brock wasn't expecting the shift and stumbles backwards. The weight of the ladder in his hands sends him off balance and both he and the ladder fall over. The crowd oohs as Brock hits the mat, one side of the ladder landing across his back.

Sharper: “That may not look like much folks, but that ladder has got to weigh at least thirty pounds, and the leg just dropped across Adam Brock's lower back.”

Knots: “And he seems to have noticed.”

Brock shoves the ladder off of him, and grabs at his back. James sees this and grins slightly. He goes over, pulls the ladder away, and grabs Brock by the leg. He pulls, trying to drag Brock away from the ropes. We don't know what he was going for though, because Brock kicks at him with his other foot and hits James' hands just right to make him lose his grip. Brock backs away and slides out of the ring. He looks around, and sees a pile of chairs leaning against the barricade. Smiling, he goes towards them. James watches from inside the ring as Brock grabs two chairs, then slides them into the ring. He slides in after, and gets to his feet, grabbing one of the chairs as he does. James just shakes his head as Brock holds the chair by the legs, ready to swing.

Sharper: “Adam Brock made quite the statement in the lead up to tonight, calling James Evans a hypocrite and threatening to break bones. It looks like he's remembered that.”

Knots: “That'll be a good trick.”

James stands still, not backing away, despite Brock brandishing the chair threatening to swing at any moment. James simply holds his arms out, waiting for the shot. Brock raises the chair... but before he can swing, he's hit with a chair from behind! Brock goes down, and the crowd boos heavily as the shot cuts to show Harker standing over Brock, chair still in hand.

Sharper: “No wonder James was so calm about just standing there! He knew Harker was coming!”

Knots: “I mean, I saw him get in the ring. I just didn't see the chair til it was in the air!”

REPLAY:

 

We see a shot of Harker coming over and swinging a chair right at Brock. Brock drops to the mat. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and we see the attack from a different angle.

Brock remains down in pain as James smirks.


Sharper: “There we see it, he slid in, keeping the chair low until needed.”

Knots: “James doesn't have to bring the violence himself as long as the House are around!”

Harker nods at his handiwork, and steps back, dropping the chair. There are now three in the ring, along with the ladder still laying on its side. James kicks one of the chairs out of the way and grabs the ladder, He stands it up and looks up, judging where it should be positioned. As he moves around to place it, still looking up, suddenly Brock grabs James from behind! The crowd roars as Brock lifts James up, turns a bit, then hits an Angle slam, dropping James directly onto one of the chairs! The crowd oohs as James grabs at his back. Lues appears on the apron and starts to get in, but Harker stops her.

Sharper: “Payback for the ladder to the back as Brock plants Evans on top of that chair!”

Knots: “And Adam is looking to take advantage!”

Brock grabs the ladder, adjusts the position, and looks up. Perfect. He starts to go up. We see James on the mat looking up, and his eyes widen. He starts to get up, as we see Brock on the third rung. James gets to his feet and hops up onto the other side of the ladder. He swings around the side, trying to knock Brock down. Brock fires back, but keeps going. Seeing that this isn't going to work, James jumps down, then looks around. Brock is now halfway up, looking up at the belt. The crowd roars. James though runs the ropes and uses the momentum to jump and tackle Brock off the ladder! The crowd boos as the two men crash to the mat, on top of one of the other chairs. Brock grabs hold of James though as they roll through and drags him along as he slides out of the ring. Brock lands on his feet as James hits the floor. James gets up quickly, only for Brock to grab an arm and swing him around and into the ring post. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Brock got a little too close to the top for Evans' liking and now they're on the floor here.”

Knots: “James being introduced to the steel post.”

James leans on the apron, hand over his forehead. When he raises his head, we see a cut over his eye. He wipes it, looks at the smear of blood on his hand, and glares. He looks up towards Brock, who is halfway back into the ring. James grabs Brock's leg and pulls, keeping him from getting back in. Brock lands on his feet, but immediately eats an elbow from James. Brock leans against the apron. James grabs him by the arm, spins him around, and into the ring steps. The top step falls over as Brock flips over it. The crowd oohs, then boos. James shakes his head at himself.

Knots: “Looks like Evans isn't happy with himself that he had to resort to that.”

Sharper: “He's been happy all night to let Harker and Lues do the dirty work for him, though”

Brock stirs on the ground as James goes over and speaks with Harker and Lues. He looks over at a pair of tables set up next to each other, at the end of the ramp, close to the ring. Lues replies, and James shakes his head.

Sharper: “Dissension in the House of James?”

Knots: “Maybe Lues didn't arrange the furniture correctly?”

James continues to shake his head as he backs away from Lues and the tables. He turns around and Brock has gotten to his feet. The crowd cheers as Brock runs around the corner of the ring, and using the bottom portion of the ring steps as a launching pad, he absolutely plows through James with a spear! The crowd roars as they crash to the floor, and roll over a few times. Lues runs over to check, but backs up when Brock raises his head and looks at her.

Sharper: “Modified Roadkill from Wolfsbane and that's what these two look like after that maneuver. Roadkill!”

Knots: “And Lues is beside herself!”

Lues turns and scurries away towards the ring. She starts to pull the ring skirt up to look under, but sees one of the chairs from earlier in the ring close to the edge. She smiles and grabs it. On the floor, both Brock and James stir. Brock rolls away from James and gets to a knee. James makes his way to the barricade, using it to pull himself up. Lues walks up slowly behind Brock, raising the chair overhead. The crowd roars trying to warn Brock. James though shakes his head at her and motions for her to drop it. She stares a moment, then lowers her arms, but doesn't let go of the chair. Brock realizes something is going on behind him and turns. Lues stares at him wide eyed as Brock registers what she was trying to do, and snaps off a superkick! Lues drops the chair as she goes down. The crowd roars. Harker runs over as we see James get to his feet. James let's Harker see to Lues; he grabs Brock by the arm and runs him into the ring apron, hitting back first. Brock goes down to a knee, holding his back. James fires off a big boot to the head, and Brock goes down. James slides back into the ring, and looks around. He smiles at the ladder.

Knots: “James Evans with the opening! Adam Brock is down on the outside, all James has to do is get that ladder straight and go up! Grab his title belt!

Sharper: “Not if Adam Brock has his way. He's up!”

The crowd roars as Brock pulls himself to his feet on the apron. He then slides in as James has the ladder directly under the belt, one foot on the bottom step. Brock grabs one of the chairs in the ring and runs, swinging wildly at James' back. James arches back, but remains in place. He takes a step up. Then another. Brock adjusts his grip and swings again. The crowd oohs as James is sandwiched between the chair and the ladder. His forehead hits a rung and reopens the cut from earlier. Yet, he remains on his feet on the ladder. Brock, frustrated, throws the chair down.

Sharper: “Brock's at a loss, the chair isn't affecting James at all!”

Knots: “Looks like he was trying Asher Hayes' trick that knocked Kandis down at Under Attack.”

Brock goes to the other side of the ladder and climbs up, matching James' height. They're a little over halfway up, and able to reach over the top step at each other. Brock throws a right hand. The crowd cheers. James fires back, drawing boos. They exchange hits, creating a “Yay! Boo! Yay! Boo! Yay!” refrain from the crowd. James rears back for another hit, but stops, something outside the ring having caught his attention. The camera goes wide and we see that Lues and Harker have added to the pair of tables, by stacking another pair on top. Harker gestures to James, that he should throw Brock through it. James shakes his head, and fires off the punch. “Boo!” Brock leans back, barely holding on to the ladder. James looks up, and goes up one more step, reaching for the belt. He's still about a foot away though. James takes one more step, which should be enough... but Brock steps up too, and grabs James over the top of the ladder! The crowd roars and oohs as Brock lifts James up a little, trying to flip him over the top.

Sharper: “My God, Adam Brock is gonna cripple James if he hits this! And himself!”

Knots: “James countering!”

James grabs hold of the ladder sides, not letting Brock lift him up any further. Brock sees, and starts hitting at James' hands on the sides of the ladder. James lets go of one side, then grabs Brock's head by the hair. Brock stops hitting James' other hand and grabs at his head, trying to get loose. James though just slams Brock's head into the top of the ladder. The crowd oohs as Brock slumps over the top. James looks down at Harker and Lues on the floor. Lues is pointing at the stacked tables from a safe distance away, Harker behind her. James ignores her and grabs Brock's hair again.

Sharper: “These two men are both in a very precarious position here.”

Knots: “James could end this easily, all he has to do is shove Brock backwards through that table stack the House set up.”

Sharper: “He won't! It's not what he stands for.”

James continues to ignore Lues. Keeping hold of Brock's hair, James carefully leans to one side of the ladder, and steps around the side, placing one foot on an opposite rung, almost straddling the top of the ladder, except the top is at his waist. His foot is one rung below Brock's feet. The crowd roars and gets to their feet as James maneuvers his way around so that he's now behind Brock on the same side. James finally lets go of the hair, but quickly applies a full nelson hold. Brock tries to fight out of it, causing both men and the ladder to sway. One side of the ladder's feet rise off the mat a little, and the crowd oohs... but the ladder stays up.

Sharper: “Someone is going to get seriously hurt here.”

Knots: “If James succeeds in what it looks like he's trying to do, he can forget about preaching anti-violence.”

James pulls back on the hold, then jumps, pulling Brock off and down to the mat with a full nelson slam! The crowed roars and boos as they crash to the mat so hard that the ladder teeters a little, but remains upright. “Holy shit! Holy shit!” As both men start to move, a chair is seen underneath.

Sharper: “My God! That slam off the top of the ladder and they landed on a chair! Adam Brock landed on that chair!”

Knots: “Was that there before? Or was it put there?”

REPLAY:

 

We see James pulling Brock off the ladder and see Harker sliding a steel chair into the ring at the last moment which Brock and Evans land on.

Both men remain down on the mat.


Knots: “I knew it! The House taking care of the violence for James!”

Sharper: “And neither man has moved yet.”

Just as Sharper comments on the lack of movement, James stirs. He rolls away from Brock and sits up. Brock is still on his back, half-laying on the chair. James pulls it out of the way and shoves it out of the ring, almost in disgust. He then gets to his knees and grabs Brock by the head, maneuvering him into position before locking in See the Light. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “What is Evans doing? He can't win by submission!”

Knots: “No, but he can put Brock to sleep then grab his belt!”

Brock struggles weakly, but soon goes limp. The official can just stand by and watch as James pulls a little tighter for a second, then finally lets go. Brock falls to the mat face down, completely out. James smirks, then gets to his feet. He nudges Brock with his toe for good measure, and on getting no reaction, goes back to the ladder. He looks up, it's still in good position. He climbs up to a cacophony of boos. Looking down, he sees Lues and Harker near the ramp, on the other side of the table stack Lues wanted so desperately for James to use. He smirks as he reaches up, proud that he didn't have to resort to that. James unhooks the belt and pulls it down to his chest. The bell rings as we see the official checking on Adam Brock.

Phillips: “Your winner of the TLC match, and STILL SCW Underground Champion.... James Evans!”

Sharper: “James Evans retains here in one of the strangest TLC matches I've ever called. Evans using as little of the tools allowed in this match type as possible.”

Knots: “He didn't need to, the House did it for him! That's what they're here for, to do the things he won't.”

James stands atop the ladder, still holding the belt close. Suddenly the crowd erupts into cheers.

Sharper: “What? What's going on.... It's Kim! Kimberly Williams is here!”

Kimberly appears from through the crowd, on the opposite side of the ring from where the House is standing, and slides into the ring. James looks down and he glares, but before he can do anything Kim gets to her feet and rushes at the ladder, shoving it with both hands. The crowd gasps as the ladder falls, and sends James crashing through the table stack! The crowd loses their minds.

“Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!”

Sharper: “Oh my God!”

Knots: “James Evans has to be shattered!”

Kim jumps up and down in the ring, pumping her fists into the air. The House stares in shock for a moment, then both spring into action. Lues runs to James and the pile of splintered tables while Harker slides into the ring after Kim. But Kim is already gone. We see her in the crowd, laughing and pointing.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams making a statement! James Evans still Underground Champion, but she wants what she considers hers back!”

Knots: “James trying to change the division, end the violence, but he clearly has more work to do. If he gets up out of that mess.”

We see officials and medics jogging out to check on James Evans as Breakdown cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

The Fatal Fortunes logo comes up on the screen. We cut to the big screen as we see a shot of a wheel of various matches spinning before flashing on matches like steel cage, underground, strap match, and others, before another ring spins showing various configurations: singles, tag, triple threat and so on. They both spin before the screen flashes and shows “Triple Threat Musical Chairs.”

 

Sharper: “And from a TLC match…”

 

Knots: “Musical chair? What are we, eight?”

 

Sharper: “Well as we get ready for this-“

 

Knots: “They have to set up three chairs, Sharper? What? Do we need to contact someone to copyright clear Clowns on Parade?”

 

Sharper: “Backstage, Jaina Lancaster is with The One Kirsten Scott.”

 

Backstage, Jaina stands with Kirsten Scott.

 

Jaina: “Thank you Adam. Now with us knowing who the champions will be, can you fill in who will be also joining you on your side, as the new guard, if you will, for your Chamber match Trios cash-in?”

 

Scott: “With pleasure…because it’s simple. Both are people who deserve it. Simple as that. One because they won the match I should have won at Under Attack…and what she did in the Chamber, let’s see what can do this time against James Evans and challenging for the Underground Champion, Cassie Wolfe…”

 

The crowd roars.

 

Jaina: “So who gets the World Title shot?”

 

Scott smiles.

 

Scott: “We’re going to see if someone deserves the attention they should’ve had all along. She’s always been overlooked by the company she keeps. So it’s time for her to put up…or shut up…And Lexy…you won’t be presenting this. I will. Autumn Valentine….get ready!”

 

Scott turns and walks off.

 

Jaina: “Cassie Wolfe gets the Underground Title shot. And Autumn Valentine for the World Title shot? Three on three, next week. Chamber match!”

 

Ludvig Eriksson vs. Asher Hayes vs. Religious Wright

Musical Chairs

 

“Off To War” by Behemoth plays over the sound system with the lights being dark as ever as Ludvig Eriksson walks out with Ginny Raab. The crowd boos. When the lights briefly came back on, you see Ludvig waving his Sweden flags.

Phillips: “The following contest is a game of musical chairs. First, on his way to the ring, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Ludvig Eriksson!”

They walked down to the ring with their flags and stepped on the stairs, and Eriksson does a hold-up in the middle of the ring before giving his flag to Ginny. She leaves the ring as Eriksson looks around at the three chairs in the ring. He just shakes his head in complete annoyance.

 

Sharper: “Well Raab and Theron not allowed to even join Eriksson this week after last week. Raab out here alone earlier.”

 

Knots: “How are they feeling? I mean both Raab and Eriksson have essentially joke matches. The wheel of fate not being the nicest to them!”

 

Sharper: “Although there are chairs in that ring!”

 

The opening riff to "Smooth Sailing" by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 11 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a long leather jacket and sunglasses. The SCW World Championship sits around his waist.

 

Knots: “Oh my God! This is the World Champion!”

 

Phillips: “Next, from Chicago, Illinois, he is the SCW World Champion, Asher Hayes!”
 
“It's all in motion, no stoppin' it now
I got nothing to lose and only one way up
I'm burning bridges, I destroy the mirage
All visions of collisions, fucking bon voyage"

He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rain down upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both fists into the air, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.
 
“I got bruises and hickies, stitches and scars
Got my own theme music, plays wherever I are
Fear is the hand that pulls your strings
A useless toy, pitiful plaything
I'm in flagrante
In every way
Every day"
 
He stands, once again, on the top rope. He removes his shades as he looks toward the ceiling, before dropping down, removing his jacket and handing his belongings to the ref.

"It's all smooth sailing
From here on out
I'm gon' do the damage
That needs getting done"

Asher then leans into the corner, looking at what awaits him. He then turns to the official, clearly animated in his anger.

 

Sharper: “The World Champion, Asher Hayes, in this match. Non-title.”

 

Knots: “Thank God. Can you imagine?”

 

Sharper: “Talk about a historic night. I’m not sure for the right reasons though!”

 

Knots: “Unlike Under Attack when Hayes won the title!”

“I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe begins to play. Religious Wright steps out onto the stage wearing a black robe and carrying his Holy Book in his right hand.

 

Phillips: “And finally from The Sword of Joshua Full Gospel Pentecostal Temple of Joy Holiness by way of Mt. Judea, Arkansas, he is Religious Wright!”

 

Along the way down the aisle he stops by some fans. He presses his hand to the foreheads of some fans and shouts “BE HEALED IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!” Still other fans he throws Holy Water at them and shouts “BE GONE FOUL DEMON FROM THIS SERVANT IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!” Religious Wright then ascends the steel steps and enters the ring. He steps to the center of the ring and holds up his Holy Book and shouts “CAN I GET AN AMEN MY BROTHAS AND SISTAS OF THE LAWD?!” He then turns and starts to bless the three chairs in the ring.

 

Sharper: “And to just make this a bit more ridiculous…the power of Selena compels us.”

 

Knots: “Selena’s not here. So I guess we’re agnostic? Or is it deist? Selena doesn’t exist in SCW, but let’s things keep moving.”

 

Eriksson then suddenly grabs one of the chairs and lifts it up and just throws it at Wright. Wright goes down, holding his face. The crowd ohs. Eriksson then turns and grabs a second chair and turns and throws it at Hayes. Hayes drops to the mat and rolls to the floor, narrowly avoiding the hit.

 

Sharper: “And Eriksson has just said screw this!”

 

Knots: “So if you don’t get hit with a chair you win, right? Where’s the music? Come on! Start the music!”

 

Sharper: “No…that’s not it.”

 

Knots: “If you hit someone with a chair, you win. Then Eriksson wins?!”

 

Sharper: “No, Jon. It’s musical chairs. They go around in a circle around the chairs. And right now, I can’t remember ever playing this in elementary school before little Johnny pitched a chair at someone else’s head.”

 

Knots: “You didn’t go to private school!”

 

Eriksson then turns and grabs the third chair. He folds it up. Wright starts to get up and turns and Eriksson slams it into his back. The crowd ohs as Wright yells in pain.

 

Wright: “Selena! WHY!”

 

Eriksson slams the chair on Wright’s back again. He drops to the mat. Eriksson then goes for a third shot before the official grabs the chair and pulls it away. He then calls for the bell. Eriksson looks at him and starts to advance on the official. The official throws the chair down, backing away. Ginny then turns and yells at Eriksson getting his attention.

 

Phillips: “The referee has decided that due to Eriksson’s attack, he has been disqualified from this contest!”

 

Knots: “They play musical chairs differently in Sweden! That’s the home of deathmetal after all…well Scandinavia, but whatever!”

 

Eriksson snaps at the official as Ginny gets in the ring, stopping Eriksson. Eriksson backs up, only with Ginny’s urging. He then exits the ring and turns and kicks the steel steps. Ginny exits and follows him. The two start to leave for the back. Hayes slides into the ring and grabs the chair pitched to him. Wright rolls over in pain and Hayes places the chair back in the middle of the ring. He then turns to the official and claps at him to start the contest. Wright rolls to the chair.

 

Sharper: “And with Eriksson eliminated…Hayes wants his damn win!”

 

Knots: “Of course!”

 

Sharper: “Hating this match but he’s not going to take a dive.”

 

Knots: “He’s the World Champion. He has standards!”

 

Hayes taps his foot as he then stands over the chair as “Psycho in my Head” starts to play throughout the arena. The crowd looks on as Hayes doesn’t move, but the official tells him to do so. Wright slowly starts to get up as Hayes walks around the chair. He then sweeps around and looks at the official before turning to the timekeeper and then the stage before swinging around the chair again. He then sweeps around again and the music stops. Hayes goes to sit down, but Wright pushes the chair out of the way. Hayes stumbles over. He then turns and stomps Wright in the head. He turns and grabs the chair and places it down before turning to Wright and shaking her head.

 

Hayes: “Selena can’t save you. The frigid bitch is gone!”

 

Wright then low blows Hayes. Hayes falls to his side as the crowd erupts. Wright rolls over. He then looks around.

 

Sharper: “Hayes just had to sit down, but he had to disparage Selena!”

 

Knots: “The power of Selena compels you. Or something! Wright went right for Hayes’s Snowballs!”

 

Wright looks around as he then crawls to the chair. The crowd roars as Hayes slowly gets up, wincing and holding himself. He grits his teeth and slowly starts to turn to Wright as Wright uses the chair, pressing up on the seat to get up and then stands up. He then smiles.

 

Wright: “SELENA BLESS!”

 

Hayes then drills Wright with the Dust to Dust! Wright goes down and rolls over. Hayes then gets up and shouts in annoyance before sitting down on the chair. The crowd boos as the bell sounds. “Smooth Sailing” starts to play.

 

Sharper: “And Hayes with the Dust to Dust and then it’s academic.”

 

Knots: “Hayes is the champion of chairs too!”

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, as the last man stan…sitting….Asher Hayes!”

 

Hayes looks out at the crowd before pointing to the official to hand him his World Title. After a moment, he’s handed the World Title and Hayes places it over his lap. He then looks out at the crowd before holding his arm up. He then gets up and smirks before looking at Religious Wright, who rolls over in pain. Hayes then steps over him and exits the ring. He starts to head to the back.

 

We cut to the big screen as we see a shot of a wheel of various matches spinning before flashing on matches like steel cage, underground, strap match, and others, before another ring spins showing various configurations: singles, tag, triple threat and so on. They both spin before the screen flashes and shows “Triple Threat Raised X Match for an SCW World Championship Opportunity.” The crowd roars as we cut to the stage to see Asher Hayes looking up at the screen and then turning and heading to the back.

 

Sharper: “And we cap things off tonight, three people yet to be drawn, and they will compete in the Raised X to earn a World Title shot. And that match is next in our main event!”

 

The scene fades to black.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as the cameras pan across the crowd in San Jose.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is your main event of the evening and is a Raised X match for a future shot at the SCW World Championship!”

 

We cut to show the ropes crossed over the ring, spread from the pillars at the corners of the ring. A briefcase is clipped to the middle.

 

The One Kirsten Scott vs. Gavin Taylor vs. Sarah Wolf

Raised X for a World Championship Opportunity

 

The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz wondering who is coming out.  As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.

As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...

AUS!

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey.  The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey.  Kirsten and her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle.

Phillips: “First, accompanied by Hailey and The Oracle, she is “the One” Kirsten Scott!”


As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up.  Hailey goes into the ring, directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle rope, and The Oracle stands on the floor directly beneath Kirsten.  Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, while Hailey and The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's direction as well, all signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The One."

After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out in a "DELETE" motion, before quickly sliding into the open ropes from being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her corner.  Hailey quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the outside.  Both of "The One's" compatriots stand with her, advising her and talking to her, as she awaits the bell ringing to start her match.

 

Sharper: “One week before she enters the Chamber match she designed. She wanted the chamber. She’s getting a US Title match. She’s looking for sea change in SCW. She could earn a guaranteed title shot.”

 

Knots: “And she could have another one. She’s in the vote too for the End of the Year Title shot. Talk about a big way to give yourself multiple shots to be the change you want to see!”

 

Sharper: “But we’ve never seen Kirsten Scott in a match like this.”

 

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

And the song continues...

The crowd cheers as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

 

Phillips: “Next, from Los Angeles, California, he is the All-Star, Gavin Taylor!”

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope. The song continues...

I cheated to get what I got
Stepped all over you self for my spot
I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not
I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.

 

Sharper: “And Gavin Taylor could end the year on a good note. He could correct everything and earn the title shot he wanted.”

 

Knots: “He’s been close. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades and at least here, Gavin needs to know, anything can stop him! Everything is legal!”

 

“When I am Queen” by Jack Off Jill plays as the crowd roars. A few moments pass as the cameras search through the arena.

 

Phillips: “And finally, from Bent Fork, Tennessee, she is Dollface, Sarah Wolf!”

 

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd as spotlights circle the arena. Fans look around too. A few moments pass before we hear a roar as Sarah Wolf hops the barricade and runs up the steps to the apron. She then climbs up to the top rope and starts to scale the metal pillar.

 

Sharper: “Sarah Wolf! Coming from the crowd as per usual, but going right for the briefcase!”

 

Knots: “Climbing right up!”

 

Sharper: “And here we go! First one to pull down the briefcase wins the title shot!”

 

The bell sounds. Wolf climbs up the pillar and grabs the cables above the ring. She starts to shimmy as Scott and Taylor both run over and grab her and pull her down. Wolf lands on her feet and both Taylor and Scott nail her with a hard right. She falls back into the corner. They both kick her in the ribs and Gavin chops her. The crowd woos. He chops her again. Scott backs up and moves to the opposite side of the ring and she then starts to climb up the turnbuckle across the ring. She gets to the top, but Taylor turns and runs across the ring and jumps up and double axe handle smashes Scott in the lower back. Scott falls over to the apron. She turns and Taylor nails her with a hard right. Scott hits the apron. Taylor turns around and runs at Wolf. Wolf ducks a clothesline attempt. Both turn around and Wolf hits a jawbreaker.

 

Sharper: “Wolf stops Gavin. Gavin was just cooking to start.”

 

Knots: “And right now, this is going fast, but you have to wonder when people are going to get their chance to break apart to get that briefcase!”

 

Wolf then rakes the eyes of Gavin. Gavin goes down and rolls over. Wolf follows up with a stomp to the ribs and then another stomp to the ribs before stomping him again. She then turns as Scott enters the ring and then grabs Wolf and turns and hits a hip toss. Wolf rolls over and starts to get up. Scott nails her with hard right. She follows up with another hard right. Wolf falls to the corner. Scott gets a couple more hard rights in and whips Wolf across the ring. Taylor steps up and hip tosses Wolf into the corner. The crowd ohs as Wolf lands on her head and rolls over. Taylor turns around and The One runs at Taylor and slides under a clothesline attempt by Taylor. Scott pops up and then grabs Taylor and hits a bulldog.

 

Sharper: “Scott takes down Gavin Taylor, the All-Star.”

 

Knots: “Well here you go. There’s an opening.”

 

Sharper: “First real one of the match.”

 

Scott climbs up the turnbuckle. She gets to the top, grabbing the metal structure and uses it to climb up. She gets up and starts to shimmy across. The crowd looks on as Scott slowly slides keeps making her way over. Gavin recovers before looking up and then running to the ropes, jumping to the top rope and twisting back with a dropkick to the side of Scott. Scott falls to the mat, back first. The crowd ohs. Gavin rolls over and starts to get up and turns and grabs Scott. He hoists her up and hits a vertical suplex. Gavin holds on and swivels her hips and drags her up. He then turns and places her on the top turnbuckle. Gavin chops her. The crowd woos. Gavin chops her again. More woos. Gavin then climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and grabs her by the head. He sets up for a vertical superplex, but Wolf then runs up behind Gavin and turns and grabs him by the legs. She hits a powerbomb on him as Taylor throws Scott off the top with a top rope superplex!

 

Sharper: “Powerbomb! Superplex!”

 

Knots: “Wolf coming back and doing the most amount of damage just like that.”

 

Taylor rolls over as Scott does too. Wolf stomps Taylor in the head and then turns and stomps Scott. Scott slowly rolls over as Taylor gets up. Wolf then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits discus clothesline, taking Taylor down. She then turns as Scott gets up and Wolf pulls her back and hits a hangman’s neckbreaker. Wolf looks around and then looks at Gavin as Gavin crawls to the ropes. Wolf walks over and places Taylor on the middle rope. She then starts to choke him, stepping through, sitting on his back. Taylor struggles as Wolf looks out at the crowd, smirking. There’s no count as there are no countouts or disqualifications. Wolf keeps choking Taylor before finally stepping off after several moments. Scott gets up and Wolf walks over to her and hits a Russian leg sweep. Wolf then turns and moves to the nearby corner. She climbs up to the top rope. The crowd boos as Wolf gets to the top. Wolf looks around and then steps up onto the structure and reaching up. She starts to slide along the ropes, slowly getting closer and closer. She slides her fists across and moves herself before Taylor runs over and grabs her the legs. He starts to swing her. Wolf tries to kick, but Taylor blocks it and throws her leg out. Wolf loses her grip and lands right down onto the knee of Gavin Taylor. Wolf rolls over, out of the ring, holding her ribs in pain.

 

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor pulling Sarah Wolf down from the cables. And right down into his knee.”

 

Knots: “Making sure to make it as unpleasant a landing as possible!”

 

Taylor walks around and Scott starts to get up and Taylor runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits the All-Starmaker! Taylor rolls off. He then looks around before turning and pointing at the briefcase. The crowd cheers. Taylor climb up the turnbuckle and gets to the top. He looks at the cables and looks around before climbs up to them and jumping up. He starts to move himself along the ropes. The crowd roars as Taylor moves closer and closer. Gavin slides more and more to it as he gets closer and closer. He slides down and manages to reach up to grab the briefcase. Sarah Wolf though rolls into the ring, now with a steel chair she acquired from under the ring. She gets up and turns and just throws the chair at Taylor. Taylor loses his grip and falls to the mat in a heap. The crowd ohs and boos.

 

Sharper: “Gavin lands hard. Shoulder first into the mat. Wolf using that chair!”

 

Knots: “Couldn’t block and then the impact, caused him to lose his grip and Taylor just found out how close can be so far again!”

 

Sharper: “And just a microcosm of Taylor’s year so far. So close, yet just unable to get it done thanks to someone else getting involved, often through bending the rules.”

 

Wolf walks around and grabs the steel chair. She then lifts it up and slams it into the side of Gavin. Gavin rolls over. Wolf lifts it up again and slams it into his back. The crowd boos as Taylor rolls over. Wolf then turns and sees Scott getting up and turns and throws the chair at her head. She falls back to the mat. Wolf turns and grabs the chair. She then unfolds it and places it in the middle of the ring. Wolf turns back to Scott and drags her up and nails her with a hard right. Scott falls to the corner and Wolf drags her up and nails her with another hard right, knocking Scott into a seated position on the open chair. Wolf smirks and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and then goes to nail Scott with a running boot, but Scott ducks and spins around. She then grabs Wolf as she misses and hoists her up and hits a back suplex through the seat of the chair. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: “Wolf driven through the chair she brought in. The One countering her and Wolf paid!”

 

Knots: “But everyone is just in pain after that. So much damage from that chair.”

 

Taylor leans on the ropes as Scott rolls over. She looks around and then turns and runs over to Taylor and hits a running dropkick, knocking Taylor out of the ring. The crowd ohs. The One Kirsten Scott looks around and then looks up at the briefcase. She turns and walks over to the corner. She climbs up to the top rope. Wolf however fight up to her feet and staggers over and nails her in the back. Wolf nails her again. Scott turns as Wolf then grabs her and hits a press slam off the top rope. Scott rolls through. She starts to get up and Wolf runs over and nails her with a hard right and then another before backing up and placing her fingers in her mouth and smiles as the black liquid starts to come out and she turns and goes to reach out for the Black Hand, but Scott blocks it. He holds on and keeps blocking it before then shoving her back. Wolf falls to her knees, turned away from Scott and Scott lunges and hits the Hidden Blade.

 

Sharper: “Scott driving the back of her arm, her elbow, into the back of Wolf’s head. Down she goes.”

 

Knots: “But she now has to recover and get up there.”

 

Scott starts to climb to the ropes and climbs up to the middle rope and then to the top rope. She turns and reaches up. She winces and then reaches up again and starts to climb up. Gavin climbs up on the next turnbuckle over. Scott slowly slide across. Taylor climbs up and winces too, holding his jaw before reaching up and he starts to slide down. He even pulls himself up, wrapping his body around the rope. He starts to shimmy as Scott does too. The crowd roars as they move toward the middle of the cables. Wolf starts to pull herself up and looks up. She then steps forward, but we then see Polly sliding into the ring, having run down from the back. She has a chain in her hand as she slides in and runs over and wraps the chain around the neck of Wolf. She pulls her back. Wolf struggles as Polly pulls her down and tries to choke her out.

 

Sharper: “Polly out here! Wolf was using the dog collar in the dog collar match to choke Polly out! Now Polly with a chain trying to choke out Wolf!”

 

Knots: “And what a time for revenge! Wolf could’ve been the difference maker and now, she’s fading. She’s getting choked out!”

 

Wolf kicks at the mat, struggling as Polly keeps pulling back on her throat. Officials at ringside try to get Polly to stop and free Wolf as Taylor gets to the middle, joined by Scott. Scott turns and uses her strength and kicks Taylor in the back. She hangs down and tries to kick him again. Taylor winces and then nails her in the chest with a hard right before letting go with his hands and nailing her in the stomach. Scott tries for another kick, but Taylor catches it and then holds on, trying to get Scott to lose her grip.

 

Sharper: “Taylor upside down. Scott trying to hold on.”

 

Knots: “It’s going to be one or neither!”

 

Taylor nails One again in the ribs and then again before The One kicks him in the chest and then swings a bit, regrasping the cables and kicking Gavin the face once. She then kicks him again and finally a third time. Gavin goes limp and falls to the mat, crashing back first into it. The crowd ohs as Scott then looks up and grabs the briefcase. She pulls up, letting out a yell before unclipping it and then dropping down with the briefcase. The crowd roars. The bell sounds.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and earning a SCW World Championship shot in the future, The One Kirsten Scott!”

 

Sharper: “One week before she looks to change the landscape of SCW, she gives herself another big opportunity!”

 

Knots: “And Gavin…so close again…”

 

Sharper: “Scott wins the match. And you can see, Polly being pulled away from Wolf finally.”

 

We see Polly getting pulled back as Wolf rolls over, coughing, and gasping for air. Scott meanwhile gets up, holding the briefcase as Taylor lies on the mat, looking up, hands at his forehead, in complete disbelief.

 

Sharper: “What a night, Fatal Fortunes night two has been. Next week, who goes to End of the Year Special to fight for the World Title? Who survives Scott’s Trios Tournament cash in. Three titles on the line. Chamber match. Next week to close out 2023!”

 

The scene fades to black…
