“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Datura hanging upside down on the ropes, posing.

Maybe I'm just paranoid
Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie
Can't stop this screamin' voice
Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing Rated X posing as SCW World Tag Team Champions. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see Cassie Wolfe hitting a dive off the top rope and Adam Brock standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chance Owens, Simon Lyman and Dancing Bear follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo

This is the face
I hate the other side of me
Out of this cage
He breaks to take the life from me
Tell me, tell me, tell me
I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing Adam Allocco talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head
I'm closer to the edge
Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery
Insane
These voices in my brain
Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor lariat on an opponent is next, before we see Pro Kinneck attacking Sophie James at ringside. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Alexis Quinne hitting a standing shooting star press. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Selena Frost, Kandis, Adam Allocco, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “The final Breakdown before Retribution and there is a buzz in the air as we roll into Vancouver, British Columbia!”

The cameras continue to pan across the arena before we cut to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots are at ringside.

Sharper: “Adam Sharper here at ringside. Jonathan Knots with me as always and folks, we are just over a week away from one of the biggest shows of the year and Kandis is going to be in that ring.”

Knots: “No surprise World Title matches though, but she’s going to look to send another message to Selena Frost. While Deanna Frost will be in the ring against Marie Jones. Polly, her opponent at Retribution, will also be in action.”

Sharper: “Add then Syren continuing to try to get more wins so she can return to World Title contention. So much happening.”

Dark Fantasy vs. Kelsai Adamson & Chance Owens

The camera cuts to the crowd where we see a group of red-shirted security walking in through one of the ground-level entrances. They line up in front of the fans for a moment and seem to be holding them back. There’s then a loud click as the lights around the building flick off and darkness consumes the arena, with nothing but a few flashes from cameras in the crowd lighting the arena. Without warning we see black and white footage spring to life on the screen of Winston Churchill giving one of his most famous speeches, all the while the chilling sound of air raid sirens and war can be heard in the background...

"We shall fight on the beaches. We shall fight on the landing grounds. We shall fight in the fields, and in the streets. We shall fight in the hills. We shall NEVER surrender!"

The video suddenly burns away to reveal a second hidden image of the devious ex-president George H. W. Bush giving a speech of his own...

"When we are successful, and we will be, we'll have a real chance at this new world order..."

A record scratch interrupts the normal Infamous introduction, only for the sound of Cute Is What We Aim For’s hit to begin around the arena.

“I’ve got the gift of one-liners,
And you’ve got the curse of curves”

The opening to “Misery Business” by Paramore suddenly hits the PA system as the spotlights on the stage flash between pink and white. We cut to the back where we see Ravyn Taylor walking through the corridors before heading over to the curtain on the floor to the right of the stage. She walks out and looks around the arena as we see Syren step out from the back, Lexy Chapel with her. Chapel keeps a hand out, stopping Syren from even moving towards Ravyn while also keeping an eye on Ravyn.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
Dark Fantasy

Phillips: “The opening contest tonight is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, accompanied by Lexy Chapel, they are Syren and Ravyn Taylor. They are the team of Lexy Chapel presents Dark Fantasy!”

Syren then starts to head to the ring as Lexy turns and heads after her. Ravyn walks over to the rampway and steps onto it, ending up standing next to Syren. Syren focuses on the ring as Ravyn smirks. Lexy steps past Ravyn pointing at Ravyn’s eyes and then at her own, before following Syren. Syren reaches the ring and climbs up the steps and into the ring. Ravyn then follows as Lexy Chapel walks along the floor. Both women remove their ring jackets and toss them to the corner. Syren climbs up on to the ropes, with one foot on the bottom and one on the middle ropes. Ravyn stands alongside her. Ravyn then goes to finish the old Dark Fantasy entrance, locking her hand with Syren. Lexy Chapel goes to the floor.

Sharper: “This match was supposed to take place two weeks ago. Instead, it is happening tonight. Two weeks ago, Twisted & Sadistic sent a message to Dark Fantasy, driving Syren into the mat with the Hell on Earth. The result was a feared neck injury. She was pulled from the rest of the night.”

Knots: “But Kelsai Adamson and Chance Owens did get a title shot out of it.”

Sharper: “And that’s led to another layer to everything in the tag division.”

Knots: “But clearly we’re going to make sure Dark Fantasy gets to the ring this time!”

The arena plunges into darkness and a strange noise is heard… It’s almost like it’s a mix of a guitar and a helicopter’s rotor. A mid-tempo drum beat starts up, quickly followed by a rhythmic bass line. Then a VERY familiar voice can be heard.

Enter the arena and hit the lights
Step up now you're in for a ride
this is war, ain't no fun and games
we get it up, you go down in flames

Jagged green lights play across the screen and the stage as a voice that can only belong to the one and only Dave Mustaine growls the lyrics to "Crush 'Em". Spotlights move around near the entranceway and one of them catches someone's right arm in its beam.

Party time, going down
you better not mess us around
the stakes are rich, take a hit or stay
the price is high, someone's gonna pay

The spotlights are still moving around on the stage as the lights on the screen start forming a pattern. One of the moving spotlights dances across someone's left leg. We then see the spotlights pass over another leg.

Heads I win, tails you lose
out of my way I'm coming through
roll the dice don't think twice
and we crush, crush 'em

The lights on the screen settle into a final configuration spelling out the names "Chance Owens & Kelsai Adamson". The person in question comes out to stand on the stage under some of the spotlights. Chance shields his eyes for a moment before turning to his left and beckoning to someone. Kelsai Adamson comes from the back to stand beside her boyfriend and nods before pointing to the ring.

Phillips: “Their opponents, on their way to the ring, they are the team of Kelsai Adamson and Chance Owens!”

Chance nods before heading down the ramp toward the ring, the lights catching the tiny white stones on his forest green fighter's gloves. Kelsai jogs down with him. There are more cheers than boos and both men smile as they touch the hands reaching out to them. Young children are the most eager and Chance and Kelsai are only too happy to oblige them. Once they reach ringside, Chance ascends the steps so he can enter the ring, wiping the soles of his boots on the outside as he does so. Kelsai climbs up to the middle rope and looks around and then hops into the ring. Owens steadies her as they play to the crowd.

Sharper: “Kelsai Adamson and Chance Owens here. Their title shot getting the attention of Team Desire. But it’s also led Owens and Adamson to get a bit more confidence.”

Knots: “Yeah, but while that’s happening, is Twisted & Sadistic, or even Light in the Darkness, going to attack Syren. Ravyn said he would make sure then they wouldn’t make it to Retribution if they tried.”

Sharper: “I can’t see Light in the Darkness doing that. Amelia Blythe will be facing Syren later tonight in our main event as yes, Syren again, double-booked as Lexy Chapel is hoping to get those ten wins she needs as quickly as possible.”

Knots: “Might burn her out! I’d always doubt any plan by Lexy Chapel…except that superkicks do seem to solve all of our problems…that one has some merit!”

The bell sounds. Ravyn steps in first as Kelsai does too. Syren exits the ring as Ravyn says something to her. Lexy watches Ravyn as Chance exits. Kelsai and Ravyn lock up in the middle of the ring. Ravyn ducks under and into a side headlock. She hits a headlock takedown.

Knots: “Even before Ravyn got up. That surprised her.”

Owens forearms her in the jaw before whipping Ravyn into the neutral corner. Owens follows up and kicks her in the ribs. He then whips her across the ring again. Ravyn gets a boot up as Owens comes in after. Ravyn then runs at him and hits a diving clothesline. She goes for the pin.

Knots: “Or just keeping it simple. Who knows what Lexy has told her?”

Sharper: “Or if she’ll listen?”

Syren then grabs Owens and runs out of the corner with a bulldog. She rolls him over and goes for the pin.

Owens tags in Kelsai. She grabs the top rope and jumps to the middle rope and spins around and into a swinging dropkick. The crowd ohs. Owens picks her up out of the corner and hits a Samoan drop. Adamson runs to the ropes, jumps to the middle rope and hits a lionsault. She hooks the leg.

Syren gets her shoulder up. Chapel paces at ringside as Ravyn looks on.

Sharper: “And that gave Lexy some palpitations.”

Knots: “Adamson and Owens just waiting to break that out. Ravyn having a lot of faith in Syren there.”

Kelsai gets up as Syren rolls over. Kelsai hooks up Syren and hits a snap suplex. Adamson turns and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope. Syren however gets up and turns to her only for Adamson to hit a diving crossbody into a pin.

Adamson turns and Syren immediately hits a superkick. Adamson falls back to the ropes as Lexy Chapel jumps up in joy. Syren falls to her knees and starts to get up. Adamson, holding her jaw, gets up. She then turns and staggers back to Syren. She then runs at her, but Syren grabs her and steers her back into the Dark Fantasy corner. Syren holds onto Adamson as Ravyn tags in. Ravyn enters and kicks Adamson in the ribs before then backing her out, hooking her up and Syren runs out, the two hitting a Russian leg sweep/clothesline combo. Ravyn turns and goes for the pin.

Adamson kicks out as Owens heads over. Owens backs up as Ravyn rolls off. Adamson rolls over and stirs.

Sharper:” And Ravyn maybe looking to work over Adamson. Win the match that way.”

Knots: “Ravyn is in a lot more than I figured. Usually Syren is the workhorse for Dark Fantasy.”

Sharper: “Clearly crafting their strategy around this aim for Syren.”

Adamson gets to a knee and Ravyn kicks her in the ribs. Adamson pops up and Ravyn hits a European uppercut. The crowd ohs. Ravyn whips Adamson across. She bounces off and Ravyn steps up for a Bust of Pallas, but Adamson slides under. Ravyn steps forward and Adamson grabs her and hits a high angle back suplex. Syren breaks it up.

Sharper: “And that could’ve been it. A major upset any way you slice it!”

Knots: “Ravyn was in big trouble there! Owens and Adamson had her dead to rights!”

Syren gets up and nails Adamson with a forearm before turning and kicking Owens in the ribs. She is then forced back by the official, and in part, by Lexy Chapel who tells her to exit the ring. Ravyn rolls over in pain and Owens recovers before pulling Ravyn up and then grabs her and hits a side effect. He turns and tags in Adamson. Adamson climbs to the top rope and glances at Ravyn. She dives off and goes for the Bombs Away. Ravyn just gets her knees up at the last moment. Adamson rolls through in pain as Ravyn turns and looks at Syren. Syren extends her arm.

Sharper: “And Syren now waiting for the tag. Ravyn barely able to get her knees up.”

Knots: “Only thing keeping this match going for Dark Fantasy!”

Ravyn winces and rolls over and lunges, diving, tagging in Syren. The crowd roars as Syren enters the ring. Adamson gets up and Syren clotheslines her down. Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Syren and Ravyn Taylor, Dark Fantasy!”

Sharper: “Lexy Chapel happy with the result while Chance Owens just noticed who shouldn’t be at ringside!”

Knots: “They called out the Stewards last week. Looks like that backfired here!”

Owens storms over to the ropes and Johnson jumps back and spins around before starting to run up the rampway. Owens turns, upset and annoyed, before turning to Kelsai to check on her. Syren looks around before Ravyn enters and raises her arm as Lexy does the same. Ravyn says something to Syren as Lexy keeps beaming over the victory.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns with Chance Owens and Kelsai Adamson at the SCW interview area. Jessica Winters stands with them.

Winters: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Jessica Winters here with Chance Owens and Kelsai Adamson and we just saw a hard-fought match, but for the second time in a row, interference preventing the result you wanted.”

Owens: “All people are doing is lining up the people who will have to stand up to the Seekers. To me, to Kelsai, and have to go through us, whether it’s on the way back to the top, or it’s us pushing them from it. Twisted & Sadistic, you gave us a title match. You didn’t beat us. Dark Fantasy’s interference made it all inconclusive as far as I’m concerned. And tonight, Dark Fantasy, you gave us the fight. Team Desire, you didn’t.”

Adamson: “You know what…this is pretty simple. Katie, Gigi, I hope you’re happy with TJ, because now, we’re not going to just throw out the challenge, we’re demanding it. You two against us at Retribution. And when we beat you Katie and Gigi, you can look at TJ and have him try to explain to you why Katie, you’re not making history any time soon and instead, we will when we are next in line for the World Tag Team Championship!”

Adamson and Owens storm off.

Winters: “Owens and Adamson not asking, not challenging, but demanding. And for Team Desire, to face the Seekers at Retribution – a win could make them the next challengers too. Back to ringside.”

The scene cuts away.

“Jesus He Knows Me” by Ghost plays as the crowd starts to boo loudly.

Knots: “Here we go!”

Sharper: “And well…guess we’re going to be joined by Simon Lyman here.”

White lights shine on the stage as a few moments pass before Simon Lyman walks out from the back. He smiles as he looks out at the crowd, wearing a fully white suit. He looks around, pointing to the crowd, smiling widely. He then starts to walk down to the ring. A few fans still reach out to him. He ignores them.

Sharper: “Let’s go back to last week now. Simon Lyman facing Bree Lancaster for the SCW Adrenaline Championship…”

LAST WEEK – BREAKDOWN:

We cut to Simon Lyman facing Bree Lancaster. Lyman gets up and grabs Lancaster. He hoists her up for the Down with the Sinners, but Lancaster flips through. She lands behind Lyman and jumps up and hits the Rectifier. The crowd cheers. Lancaster turns and hooks the leg.

3!

The bell sounds. The crowd erupts in cheers. Lancaster rolls off. Lyman rolls over, holding his head and neck.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and STILL SCW Adrenaline Champion, Bree Lancaster!”

Knots: “Yeah. Simon Lyman thought he had Bree Lancaster, but Lancaster got out of the Down with the Sinners and hit the Rectifier. It was academic. Bree Lancaster beat Simon Lyman.”

Sharper: “But after the match, after Bree won, Autumn Valentine made her way down to the ring, clearly focusing on the Adrenaline Championship.”

We cut forward as Bree plays to the crowd celebrating and holding up her title. We then see Autumn Valentine walking out from the back. She heads to the ring as Bree celebrates. She then turns and sees Autumn Valentine. Bree stops and then motions to her. She points at her Adrenaline Championship. Autumn steps forward and to the ring. Autumn looks in the ring as Bree keeps talking to her.

Lancaster: “You want me. Come on. Get in line. I’ll beat you again!”

Bree holds up the Adrenaline Championship and Autumn then starts to climb onto the apron. As she does though, Lyman comes up behind Bree and grabs her again before hoisting her up and hitting the Down with the Sinners. The crowd ohs and boos. Lyman rolls over, holding his head and neck. The Adrenaline Championship bounces off the mat and to a few feet from Autumn. Autumn remains on the apron before we see Lyman get up and turn and stomp Bree over and over. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Autumn Valentine came to the ring. Simon Lyman used that as an opportunity to attack Bree Lancaster.”

Knots: “Dropped her on her head and then went to town. Autumn Valentine was thinking about going after Bree, but stopped and then you see her, focusing on the title, while Lyman stomps the holy hell out of Bree!”

Lyman keeps stomping Lancaster as Autumn just watches before looking at the Adrenaline Championship. She then starts to step through as the crowd roars. Adam Brock bolts down the rampway to the ring. He slides into the ring and Autumn looks at him before Brock runs over and nails Lyman with a running forearm. Lyman goes down and Brock nails him with a series of hard stomps as Bree rolls over. Brock then turns and sees Autumn before looking at the Adrenaline Championship. Autumn looks at Brock before Brock grabs the Adrenaline Championship and hands it back to Bree. Bree winces, holding her head and looks up. Brock looks at Autumn before Lyman grabs at the ropes to fight back in. Bree takes the title as Brock turns and runs over and kicks at the ropes. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We cut to a live shot as Simon Lyman stands in the middle of the ring.

Sharper: “And Simon Lyman grabbed a chair at the end. Before he could use it, he backed away as officials reached the ring. It looked like he may go back to war against Adam Brock. While Bree Lancaster was watching everything. Autumn Valentine still on the floor. But Simon Lyman, since then, on social media, has just lost the plot.”

Knots: “He hasn’t had it in a while.”

Lyman smiles as he music fades out as he brings a microphone to his mouth.

Lyman: “And as expected, Bree Lancaster was left down in a heap and needed to be saved…she could have by me, but she had to resist it and Sister Bree learned that sometimes what’s good for you requires a harsh touch. But while people like Adam Brock won’t understand that’s this is a situation between adults, between friends, between people who know each other well.”

Lyman smiles as he looks around.

Lyman: “While you may have a loose connection due to the fact that your protégé Chance has made a bad life choice, as just demonstrated moments ago, by being tied to an anchor like Kelsai Adamson…a bright girl who could have been so much more had she just gotten out of the grasp of Amy…”

Lyman shakes his head.

Lyman: “So many people to save…so little time.”

The crowd boos as Lyman sighs.

Lyman: “I can only do so much. I am trying really hard to save so many people. To be the savior these people need…from their hypocrisy to their hedonism to their lying and to their alcoholism. And yet they resist. And Adam Brock attacking from behind…haven’t we been through this. But that’s fine…all can be undone, all can be fixed…at Retribution.”

Lyman smiles.

Lyman: “Bree…last week solved nothing as that video recap showed. Neither of us were happy with how that went and-“

Before Lyman can even continue, white-hot green fireworks go off now and this time the spotlight DOES catch someone. Standing there amid the ghastly green glow is the one and only “Wolfsbane” Adam Brock! Brock walks out from the back, microphone in hand.

Brock: “Oh no…we’re not going to do this again.”

Brock starts to walk down the ring as his music quickly cuts.

Brock: “You already slithered back into one title match after losing, taking advantage of a similar type of tactic. I’m not going to stand here after you LOST…no excuses. Bree Lancaster beat you in that ring, dead to rights.”

Lyman: “We’d beg to differ there! But that’s what happens when you’re blind, Adam.”

Brock: “No, you’re blind.”

Brock hops onto the apron. He steps into the ring. As he does, Elijah Smith hops the barricade and runs to the ring, sliding in and immediately putting his hands up. He stands between Simon and Adam.

Brock: “Are you kidding me?”

Lyman: “Oh no. He’s deadly serious. Both for his commitment to my cause and to protect me. We already know you have violent tendencies. Really unbecoming for a veteran-“

Brock: “Not that you’d know. You’re just a leech. Losing straight up and then conning your way back to a title shot.”

Lyman: “And what about you? Are you just a hypocrite. I beat you clean at Body, Heart, and Soul. Like a dusty rug at spring cleaning. Your own mother couldn’t recognize you when I gave you a follow up beating, and yet you lecture me-“

Brock: “Damn right I do when you’ve done had an honest bone in your body and that match, you had to use every trick to keep me down!”

The crowd roars.

Brock: “So Simon-“

Before Brock can finish, the lights dim, only a few small ones on the stage as the voice of Bree Lancaster whispers:

“I am the light of the truth
The one who sees right through”

A guitar riff plays as the small lights dance around the stage, then suddenly stop, as one large beam shines down onto the figure of Bree herself.

“Spotlight”

The smaller lights begin again swirling as the music of “Spotlight” by Fozzy kicks in and Bree makes her way down the ramp. Brock stops and turns. Lyman just smirks and extends her arms. Bree just shakes her head, looking at Lyman before Bree heads to the ring. She also already has a microphone in her hand.

Bree: “Adam, I appreciate what you’re doing here and what you did last week, ensuring my title remained in my hands-“

Lyman: “See! Even Bree knows that things were not as they seemed last week-“

Bree: “Simon…shut the hell up.”

The crowd roars.

Bree: “Adam…I can fight my own fights though.”

Bree reaches the ring.

Bree: “And I don’t need you to stand in his way to stop him from getting this.”

Bree points to the SCW Adrenaline Championship. She walks up the steel steps. She then steps into the ring.

Bree: “Although, if you can remove an annoyance…”

Brock hears Bree before then gathering what she’s suggesting and grabs Elijah Smith and just throws him out of the way. He rolls through as Bree steps up and drills Lyman with a hard right. Lyman hits the mat. The crowd erupts. Bree looks down at him.

Bree: “Thank you. That’s just for everything on social media and the cheap shot last week. The fact is that I don’t know what you deserve Simon. I know Adam here deserves to get his hands on you in an environment where you can’t weasel your way through it. I want to get my hands on you again just because you irritate the hell out of me. And God knows I’ve said it so many times this last month – I will solve it in the ring. But-“

Chapel: “Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! We’re getting hasty! Everyone hold up.”

Lexy Chapel steps out from the back. She has her heels in her hand and drops them on the stage and then steps into him, seemingly having run. Autumn Valentine then slowly saunters out from the back. Chapel looks at her and then the ring.

Chapel: “Sorry! Busy night. Dark Fantasy just won. And Syren will again later tonight. And then at Retribution! That’s right…back to the greatest tag champs of all time!”

Chapel smiles.

Chapel: “But that doesn’t means we should be ignoring the greatest Adrenaline Champion of all time…that’s right, the ADRENALINE ASSASSIN, Autumn Valentine.”

Bree: “Excuse me, but I don’t even know where to start there-“

Lyman: “PREACH LEXY!”

Chapel: “Uh…are we on the same side of you? Maybe if you’re willing to lie down for Syren…she can get a win off you and-“

Autumn hits Lexy in the arm.

Chapel: “What? I’m always up for a business deal!”

Brock: “You don’t even know what Syren stands for. Even I can tell from here.”

Bree: “Not the important part right now anyway.”

Bree looks at Lyman as Lyman stirs.

Bree: “But as I was telling Autumn as she came to the ring, she can get into the ring and try and take it from me. I’d rather make sure of no doubt!”

Chapel: “There we go! Right from the horse’s mouth! Autumn! Let’s go-“

Chapel turns around to leave.

Lyman: “Whoa, whoa, whoa! I’m right here!”

Chapel stops and turns back to the ring.

Chapel: “You’re definitely not on our side.”

Lyman: “No. I’m on the side of purity and grace. And I have a feeling that many of you are in leagues of your own in terms of what saving you need, Sister Bree, Brother Adam, and Sisters Autumn and Lexy-“

Chapel: “Whoa, whoa, whoa. We’re not sisters. Totally…that would be…ew. We’re married and-“

Brock shakes his head. Autumn does too.

Bree: “You’re not literal sisters. He’s just been watching too much bad evangelical crap late nights as he copes with his failures!”

Lyman: “Don’t protect on me!”

Brock: “Oh this is just getting ridiculous. You say you want to handle it in the ring, Bree, then find. I’m going to right now with Simon!”

The crowd roars as Brock turns to Lyman. Lyman, just now, gets up as Elijah jumps in front of him. Brock grabs him. The crowd roars as we then see CHBK walk out from the back, microphone in hand.

CHBK: “I would stop right there Adam.”

Brock looks at Elijah as Elijah, at first, looks relieved, before then faking a confident smirk and backing up, into Lyman, who then holds him up as he nearly trips over his feet.

Sharper: “Finally, some order.”

Knots: “Or more questions. Is Selena taking the title shot?”

Sharper: “Stop it.”

Knots: “What? She’s a former Adrenaline Champion. Maybe wants to dip her toe back in!”

CHBK: “I can appreciate that you all have now gotten intertwined with this all, but Adam, you’re right. Simon Lyman had his shot and to reward him in this way would well…be a bad precedent to set. So here is what I will do.”

CHBK pauses for a moment.

CHBK: “At Retribution, we’re going to see two matches revolving around the Adrenaline Championship. The first…it will see Bree Lancaster defending her Adrenaline Championship against Autumn Valentine!”

The crowd roars.

CHBK: “And Simon, Adam, you’ll go at it one more time, this time in a ladder match to determine who will be the number one contender to the Adrenaline Championship!”

The crowd roars.

CHBK: “I think that settles it!”

The crowd cheers as “This is How a Heart Breaks” plays throughout the arena.

Sharper: “I think it does too! Autumn and Bree; Simon and Brock in a ladder match. Oh man!”

Knots: “And Simon does not look happy!”

Brock looks at Simon as Simon looks around, clearly upset. Bree focuses on Autumn as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Syren walking around in the LexyCorp locker room. She then sits down. Ravyn watches her from the other side of the room.

Ravyn: “You okay? You did win.”

Syren: “TJ…I saw him after…and I just have this pull-“

Ravyn: “It’s your conscious.”

Syren: “I realize that. Just with Lexy wanting me to get these wins as fast as possible. Last week, the chair shot…I….”

Ravyn: “You’re not quite the win is a win is a win girl. You and I both know that. For me, I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but Lexy and I are on the same page. We want you to get wins. And you can only focus on yourself. We can focus on everything else.”

Syren: “We….you are trying to make this work.”

Ravyn smiles.

Ravyn: “Don’t forget though…if someone gets involved or stops you…or tries to hurt you…Lexy will appreciate what I do too. Mutual motivations make strange bedfellows.”

Ravyn pauses as Syren looks down.

Ravyn: “Rest so you’re ready for later. And also because Lexy isn’t here.”

Syren nods and chuckles a bit as the scene cuts away.

The screen does a static jump to somewhere else in the Rogers arena, the crowds can be heard giving a massive fan pop as we are shown the arrival of David Striker and Chris Dumont, both men are in their street clothes which includes black t-shirts with the words “Young Punks” in orange hollowed out letters and David still looking pretty banged up from his match the previous week

Chris: I got a question for you, Davey-boy. What are we doing here? I mean neither one of us is scheduled on the card this week…so what gives.

David: Call me crazy if you want, Chris, but I got this strange feeling that we might be needed in case things do a quick step to the right in the wrong direction.

Chris looks over at David before rolling his eyes.

Chris: Sure, Davey-boy, sure. I’m sure that all five foot five of “crazy things” will be quite fine without you here tonight.

David abruptly stops and turns to look over at his friend, his right eyebrow raising in confusion as he does so.

David: What’s that supposed to mean?

Chris: Dude, seriously?!

The two men look at each other for a few seconds-David with a look of complete confusion and Chris with a look of total and complete incredulous-for a few seconds before David finally just shakes his head and points at his friend.

David: Look, I just want to be here and back up somebody who I feel could be a real help with to the krew and vice versa, I mean you know how I feel about us backing up our freaky brothers and sisters in this new shit.

Chris simply stays quiet and follows David through the arena, the incredulous look still on his face

Chris: Sure, Davey. I can respect your reasoning…

Chris looks over at the camera, motions at David with nodding of his before rolling his eyes before he stops and quickly moves to catch up with David before the screen static jumps back to ringside.

Deanna Frost vs. Marie Jones

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet.

Phillips: "And from Manhattan, New York, weighing in 115 pounds, she is Deanna Frost!"

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the redhead jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring!

On the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to normal.

"You and I walk a fragile line

I have known it all this time

But I never thought I'd live to see it break

It's getting dark and its all too quiet

And I can't trust anything now

And its comin' over you like its all a big mistake"

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen….

"Holding my breathe, won't lose you again

Something's made your eyes go cold"

Phillips: ..."The Phoenix" Marie Jones!!!!!!!!!!

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the arena.  Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring. As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story.  Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring.  She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd.

Sharper: “This could be a hell of a match. Deanna Frost heading into her US Championship defense at Retribution, but there is some history here. Marie Jones, before she left SCW, she was supposed to team with Kim to face Deanna and Selena.”

Knots: “A bit of a full-circle moment. But I don’t know if Deanna has picked up on that.”

Deanna connects with a discuss elbow and a running high knee.  Deanna goes for a lariat but Marie ducks and counters with a pele kick.  Marie with a kip up into a frankensteiner.  Marie hits the ropes and delivers a flying forearm smash.  Marie kips up again.  Marie goes for a scissors kick but Deanna dodges it.  Deanna with a leg sweep taking down Jones.  Frost then waits until Marie sits up before driving a knee into her face.  Deanna immediately applies a rear face lock.

Sharper: “And Deanna immediately starting to wear down Marie.”

Knots: “Makes sense. And she can’t really do much in terms of her high-flying if she’s caught in a hold!”

The Phoenix slowly fights the hold, making it back to her knees, and then back to her feet.  Deanna switches to a side headlock.  Marie counters out of it with a hip toss followed by a spinning heel kick.  Marie with a scissors kick.  Marie with a snap suplex taking down Frost.  Jones immediately locks in a bow and arrow submission.

Sharper: “Hard snap suplex and right into the bow and arrow.”

Knots: “Deanna is going to find out how flexible her spine is!”

Deanna slowly fights out of it, eventually breaking free after about twenty seconds.  Marie with a belly to back suplex followed by a seated senton onto Frost’s lower back.  Marie locks in a single leg crab.  Still Frost won’t give in.  After about twenty seconds she reaches the bottom rope, forcing a break.  Marie drags Frost back out to the center and tries to lock her in a Boston Crab, perhaps going for Angel’s Arch, but Deanna counters with a small package…

1…

2…Kickout!

Marie and Frost both pop back up.  Marie boots her in the gut and goes for a double arm ddt but Frost with a standing switch into a release German suplex.

Sharper: “And a huge German!”

Knots: “Jesus! Drop her on her head while you’re at it!”

Deanna with a swinging neck breaker.  Deanna locks in a rear naked choke.  Marie fights in the hold, refusing to give in.  After about fifteen seconds she reaches the ropes, forcing a break.  Deanna pulls Marie back up to her feet and plants her with a ddt.  She goes into the cover…

1…

2…Kickout!

Deanna pulls Marie back up and drops her with another snap mare takeover.  Deanna goes up to the second rope and comes off with a diving elbow to the sternum.  Deanna hooks a leg…

1…

2…Kickout!

Frost pulls Marie back to her feet.  She sets Marie up for The Checkmate but Marie wriggles free and then drops Deanna with a back cracker.  Marie then pulls herself up to her feet, hits the ropes with a springboard, DIVINE IMPACT to the lower back of Deanna Frost!  Marie wastes no time.  She takes Frost by her legs, turns her over, and elevates the Boston Crab into The Angel’s Arch.

Sharper: “And Marie Jones trying to use the Angel’s Arch. Trying to use her mother’s hold to make the US champion submit.”

Knots: “Could you imagine?”

The referee is in position but Deanna keeps refusing to give in.  Deanna fights towards the ropes and is within fingertips…but Marie drags her back out to the center.  She tries to sit back on it even more, to apply even more pressure.  Deanna still won’t quit.  She fights back towards the bottom rope.  Again she is within fingertips…this time she reaches the bottom rope, forcing a break.

Sharper: “And Deanna, somehow, holding on. Showing that grit, that determination.”

Knots: “But at what cost. That’s now a huge target on her back!”

Marie pulls Deanna back up to her feet.  She takes her by the head and goes for Ave Maria but Deanna counters, shoving Marie off into the ropes.  Marie comes back and connects with Kissed By Fire!  Jones pushes herself back to her feet.  She hits the ropes again and goes for another Divine Impact but Deanna gets her knees up, driving them into Marie’s gut.  Deanna hits the ropes and comes back taking Marie down with a running knee strike.

Sharper: “And a hard knee strike. Marie down!”

Knots: “This is just back and forth action here.”

Deanna pulls Marie back to her feet.  The flips her hair back and drops her with a snap ddt, Spring Fling!  She covers, hooking a leg…

1…

2…

…3NOO! Marie shoots her right shoulder up off the mat!

Deanna pulls Jones back to her feet.  She goes for another Spring Fling but Marie picks a leg and then turns her over into an STF.

Sharper: “And Marie counters! STF!”

Knots: “And with the pressure on the back, Deanna may not have much left!”

Frost fights the hold, refusing to give in.  Eventually she reaches the ropes, forcing a break.  Jones pulls Deanna up and delivers a belly to back suplex near the corner.  Marie charges in and delivers a split legged moonsault!  She hooks a leg…

1…

2…

…3NOO!  Deanna kicks out at the last second!

Jones pulls Frost up.  She hooks her for The Hot Shot, her mother’s variation of the pedigree, but Deanna counters with a back drop.  Deanna with a sliding knee to Marie’s face!  Deanna with a standing moonsault.  Deanna then pulls herself up and prepares to target Marie.  She goes for The Burnout but Marie ducks out of the way, avoiding the contact.  Marie kips up and hits her with a superkick that sends Frost tumbling to the outside.  The Phoenix then charges and leaps over the top with a corkscrew suicide plancha taking Frost down again.

Sharper: “Marie over the top! Corkscrew plancha!”

Knots: “Deanna had no choice but to watch it take her down!”

Marie rolls Frost back into the ring.  Jones with a springboard 450 splash onto Deanna!  She hooks the leg…

1…

2…

…3NOO! Deanna again kicks out at the last second!

Marie pulls Deanna back to her feet.  She sets Frost up for Ave Maria but Deanna counters with a waistlock and a sudden snap release German suplex!  Frost staggers back to her feet and then delivers The Burnout!  She covers, hooking both legs…

1…

2…

…3!

The bell sounds as Deanna looks over at Marie and then gets up, having her arm raised.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Deanna Frost!”

Sharper: “And Deanna Frost, in this hard fought match, this back and forth matchup, managed to get it done.”

Knots: “She made sure she got all of that Burnout and Marie down. But Polly, Polly if watching should have gotten a great bit to study from. Deanna looked on her back foot a few times.”

Deanna looks around and then leans on the ropes. She nods before then returning to celebrating as Breakdown goes to commercial.

Marie Jones is backstage, taking a moment, sitting on a storage crate in one of the hallways. Angelica Jones walks over to her.

Angelica: “How are you?”

Marie takes a deep breath.

Marie: “That would’ve been too easy.”

Angelica: “To get that full circle feeling right like that?”

Marie: “Exactly.”

Angelica: “Well, you now know what you’re up against.”

Marie: “I already knew. Just…that I got so close…just means I’m going to do whatever I can to get back to facing her…to get that full circle moment. To know the redemption path I’m on…to get that satisfaction. Just one bit of it.”

Angelica: “Then you have your goal. Now how are you going to get there?”

Cassie Wolfe then walks past.

Wolfe: “Hey Kim-“

Marie: “I’m not Kim.”

Wolfe stops and looks at her.

Marie: “I’m Marie. Her sister.”

Wolfe: “Oh yeah, saw you help Kim at Body, Heart, and Soul. And you looked good out there against Deanna.”

Marie: “Thanks. Cassie? Cassie is it?”

Wolfe: “Yes. Just getting some steps in. Not competing tonight. But can’t let that stop me. Can’t let it let me get complacent.”

Marie: “It’s a good approach to take.”

Angelica: “Very good.”

Wolfe: “Well, I should keep going. Want to also hit up catering before it gets full.”

Wolfe heads off. Marie watches her leave and turns back to Angelica.

Marie: “Reminds me a bit of so many people I’ve seen.”

Angelica: “Bright and young.”

Marie: “Something like that.”

The scene cuts away.

SMP vs. The Enigma

As the arena lights dim, a hushed anticipation falls over the crowd. The haunting notes of Metallica's "Turn the Page" resonate through the speakers, setting the stage for the arrival of Sean Michael Prime. Slowly emerging from the shadows. Sean stands at the top of the ramp with a determined gaze. He walks with purpose down the entrance ramp, his worn silhouette illuminated by a lone spotlight.

Phillips: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the SCW Television Championship! Making his way to the ring, the challenger, from Salem, Massachusetts, Sean Michael Prime!"

With every step, SMP absorbs the energy of the arena, his long hair flowing in rhythm with the haunting melody. As the chorus kicks in, the crowd begins to stir, caught between the raw emotion of the song and the enigmatic presence of Sean as he slowly approaches the ring. Sean climbs into the ring, casting a stoic gaze across the audience. The metallic strains of "Turn the Page" amplify the intensity of the moment. Sean starts pacing around the ring awaiting for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Sean Michael Prime has stepped up to the challenge tonight to face the Enigma, but you have to wonder if David Striker and Chris Dumont will play a role at all in this match tonight.”

Knots: “I don’t know, Sharper, but SMP better be focused, Enigma has only lost two matches since September here in SCW. And quite frankly, Sharper, he’s only showing signs of getting stronger every week.”

As the eerie strains of "Whispers of the Abyss" begin to echo through the arena, the lights dim, plunging the venue into an unsettling darkness. A thick fog creeps across the entrance ramp, shrouding it in an otherworldly mist.

A chilling gust of wind sweeps through the arena, causing a collective shiver among the spectators. Suddenly, a single spotlight pierces the gloom, revealing the imposing figure of The Enigma standing at the top of the ramp.

His mask, an enigmatic visage of darkness, glistens ominously in the dim light. Clad in a long, tattered black robe that billows around him like a specter, The Enigma exudes an aura of malevolence that is palpable even from a distance.

Phillips: “And his opponent, the SCW Television Champion, The Enigma!”

With each step, the haunting melody of "Whispers of the Abyss" intensifies, sending shivers down the spines of those in attendance. The audience's anticipation is met with a creeping dread as The Enigma descends the ramp, his presence a looming specter of the unknown.

Sharper: “The Enigma has shown time and time again what a force he is here in SCW. He has a tough challenge tonight, however, against Sean Michael Prime.”

Knots: “He does, but Sharper, the Enigma shows every week that no matter who the challenger is, he’s ready to turn them away. I don’t expect tonight to be any different.”

As he reaches the ring, The Enigma climbs the steel steps with deliberate, measured movements. He enters the ring through the ropes, his masked gaze fixed on some unseen point in the distance. The crowd's unease grows with each passing moment.

The referee walks over and quickly takes the SCW Television Championship from the Enigma and holds it up for everyone to see. The bell rings and the match starts. SMP charges at Enigma and connects with a forearm. Enigma staggers back and SMP backs up and charges at him again and connects with another forearm. Enigma is rocked hard now. SMP backs Enigma into the ropes, and whips him across the ring.

Enigma runs back toward SMP after bouncing off the ropes and SMP jumps up and connects with a dropkick taking down the mysterious masked Enigma. SMP goes for a quick cover and the referee counts.

1!

Enigma kicks out before the referee’s hand can even hit the mat for a two count. SMP quickly gets up to his feet as Enigma gets to a sitting position.

Sharper: “Jonathan, SMP has clearly done his homework for this match, he knows that he needs to get this done quickly if he wants to have the best shot against Enigma in this one.”

Knots: “That’s right, Sharper, SMP is a speedy wrestler anyway and so he is working that in his favor here early on.”

Enigma is still in a sitting position and SMP kicks him in the chest, Enigma is rocked but is still sitting. SMP backs up into the ropes, bounces off and comes back at Enigma and takes him down with another dropkick! SMP goes for yet another cover and the referee counts.

1!

Enigma kicks out yet again before the referee’s hand hits the mat for a two count. SMP stands up yet again and starts to pick Enigma up to his feet. SMP brings Enigma to a knee, and Enigma punches SMP in the gut with a right hand. Enigma punches him again before getting to his feet. Enigma then quickly locks SMP’s head in his arm and takes him down with a quick DDT!

Sharper: “And just like that, Enigma has gained control of this match!”

Enigma stands over SMP and backs into the ropes. Enigma jogs back to SMP, jumps up and connects with a leg drop! Enigma quickly rolls into a cover of his own.

1!

2!

NO!

SMP gets his shoulder up just before the three count. Enigma starts to pull SMP back up to his feet. Once he gets him to his feet he backs him into the corner. Enigma kicks SMP in the midsection, followed by a quick forearm to the head. Enigma backs up and runs at SMP and connects with a big splash in the corner! Enigma grabs SMP by the back of the head and pulls him out of the corner. Enigma locks SMP’s head up again and this time lifts him up and drops him down with a vertical suplex.

Sharper: “Enigma showing off what he’s made of right now, Jonathan!”

Knots: “Sharper, Enigma is pulling out all the stops in this one!”

Enigma rolls into another cover on SMP and the referee counts.

1!

2!

NO!

SMP gets his shoulder up once again before the three count. Enigma is in a sitting position and slides himself over to a corner and watches as SMP struggles to make his way back to his feet. SMP finally gets to a knee and Enigma grabs the top rope and pulls himself back to his own feet. Enigma doesn’t move as SMP struggles to regain his composure.

Knots: “Look at him, Sharper, Enigma is playing games with SMP now!”

Enigma starts to slowly walk back towards SMP, who quickly connects with a roundhouse kick that makes the crowd ‘ooh’ as he takes down the Television Champion! SMP standing over Enigma drops a quick elbow and rolls into a quick cover.

1!

2!

NO!

Enigma kicks out before three. SMP pulls Enigma to his feet and whips him into the far corner. As he is walking over to the corner the crowd starts to make some noise. The camera pans around to see David Striker and Chris Dumont standing at the top of the entrance way. SMP doesn’t notice them and charges at Enigma with a running clothesline!

Sharper: “What are Striker and Dumont doing here!?”

Knots: “They’re probably still annoyed at SMP for last week with what SMP did to Colleen and are here to exact their revenge!”

The duo starts to slowly make their way down to the ring, and SMP finally notices. Leaving Enigma in the corner, SMP walks over to the side of the ring that’s against the entranceway and starts to yell at them.

SMP: “What are you doing here!?”

Striker and Dumont don’t say a word, and SMP stops yelling at them and turns around. He is met with a kick to the midsection from Enigma, who locks in SMP’s head into his arm and black smoke fills the arena. Enigma drops SMP’s head onto his knee with the Into the Abyss! Enigma makes the cover and the referee counts.

1!

2!

3!

Black smoke fills the arena completely as “Into the Abyss” plays throughout the arena. The referee hands Enigma the SCW Television Championship through the thick smoke. Enigma stands in the ring with his arms stretched out, the SCW Television Championship in his left hand.

Phillips: “Here is your winner and still the SCW Television Champion, the Enigma!

Sharper: “An impressive victory tonight by the Engima over SMP, but he had a little bit of help!”

Knots: “He did, but I don’t know that he is happy about it.”

As Knots says this, we see Enigma staring down at Striker and Dumont. Enigma’s mouth doesn’t move but we hear his voice and these words echo through the arena.

Enigma: “Interfere in my match again, and you’ll find yourself enveloped in a darkness from which there is no escape. Consider this your only warning.”

With that, the lights go out and the only thing left are Striker and Dumont looking concerned at ringside, and a downed SMP in the middle of the ring. Enigma and the SCW Television Championship are nowhere to be seen.

COMMERCIALS

The screen then static jumps once more to the backstage area where we find David and Chris just chilling next to catering with David having a quick can of Nuka-Quantum G-Fuel while two are discussing something.

David: Seriously, something has got to give involving Zach man. I like the guy and trust him and all that shit, but I don’t think he’s taking anything that we’re doing seriously.

Chris: You’ll get no argument from me, Davey. You know the rest of the krew is more than open to what you want to do about it, but you still got to get things past the big man.

David: I get that, I’ll run my things past Brother Devon…

The two men are interrupted by the arrival of a blonde woman in a pair of blue jeans and a white SCW t-shirt which makes the two guys smile.

Chris: Dude! Bonnie that you?

The Blond (Bonnie): Yeah, didn’t think that I’d run into you two guys here.

David: Well we do kinda work for SCW too…

Bonnie: I know…but you two are on the schedule for tonight. But since you’re here, can I get a quick interview spot with you, David?

David: Sure Bonnie. Anything for a friend.

Bonnie: Cool, so…last week here on Breakdown you managed to get a win over Kimberly Williams of all people and word has it she’s been speaking highly of you following your match last week. Basically, I’m curious how you’re doing after your first Underground match.

David takes another pull from his can before he rubs the back of his head for a moment.

David: I can tell you honestly, I’m still feeling the effects of human bulleting that table during the match and you’ll also forgive me for not gloating about my victory over Miss Williams because even though I won, I still feel like I somehow lost at the same time and that is purely because the hype about her isn’t hype, but the bloody truth and I would love to have another match with her at some future date.

Bonnie: Wait…you want another go with against Kimberly Williams?!

Chris: Yeah, I’m with Bonnie on this one. Dude, what gives?

David: It’s exactly like I said in the build up to my match with her on the last edition of Breakdown, she’s an epic wrestler and for the first time since I joined this company, it felt like I was finally being able to do what I was hired to do here in SCW and that was showcase the epic level of natural damn talent that I add to the roster.

I mean let’s use Kevin Hunter as my exhibit A in this case shall we? I mean this guy is a well traveled veteran with loads of championships and other such accomplishments to his name…he jumps me backstage and tells me that I’m nothing more than a jobber, a fucking stepping stone for him to use to get to bigger and better things, and yet despite all of these things that he’s done, I am to outwrestle him based on pure level of skill alone.

Why?

Because I am The Mephistopheles of Cameron North Carolina, pure and simple, Bonnie. Look, Kevin Hunter goes around and calls himself the what…the Devil Incarnate, right? Well you can call me the Working Class Hero…Super Bad…Hells, you can call me whatever you want to…but I’d much rather you call me the leader of the fucking Dope Show because if you want to step into any ring with me, then you’d better be one hell of a bloody war because I’m not here to look pretty and fart around, I’m here to fucking wrestle…pure and simple.

David exchanges fist bumps with Chris before he cracks a bigger smile for the camera.

David: And that means you had better bring your best violence because I welcome it, which is why in turn I wanted thank you again, Kimberly, for giving me exactly what I needed that night and if you feel like you can get those fires from hell roaring high enough that you want to blacken your wings for another round with me, then you should know that my door is always open for the finest violence.

Bonnie smiles and nods in agreement before she turns serious again.

Bonnie: Alrighty then with all that out of the way, can you explain why you’ve been keeping an eye on the Playgirls these last couple of shows?

David: The Dope Show is open to all walks and forms of creative mayhem, Bonnie. And I happen to respect the girls for everything that they’ve accomplished since they broke out on their own.

Bonnie: So, you’re doing it out of respect and nothing else?

David gets a very confused look on his face.

David: Do what now?

Bonnie: Well, some people might accuse you of being…well, you know…

Bonnie has a cheeky little smile on her face that slowly vanishes when she sees the level of confusion on David’s face while Chris simply lets out a groan of frustration before covering his face.

David: I know…what?

Bonnie: Um, never mind. I’ve taken up enough of your time.

David simply shrugs, finishes off his energy drink and then grabs two more before heading off camera and briefly leaving Chris alone with Bonnie before he quickly grabs his own can and quickly springs off after David, leaving a confused Bonnie behind as the screen static jumps to the next match.

Kandis vs. Ace Sky

A rocket drops from the bottom of the big screen to the stage and there is a countdown voice over from 5 which fans count down. “Eye In The Sky” by The Alan Parsons Project play as a pod door opens and Ace Sky walks out in an aviator jacket and his usual in ring attire.

Phillips: “And their opponent, from Houston, Texas, he is Ace Sky!”

He salutes a peace sign and jogs down the aisle way high-fiving as many fans as possible while alternating with gesturing to his forehead. Then he dashes with his trademark slide through the bottom ring apron. He does the Third Eye forehead point taunt again and gets into Bruce Lee style-southpaw martial arts stance.

Sharper: “Ace Sky, the veteran, going to be in what could be the fight of his life.”

Knots: “Some similarities to Selena, at least in the focus on high-flying and leg strikes, but this may just be a warm up for Kandis, unless Ace Sky is ready for what comes at him.

The opening of "Whore" by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

{I'm the girl you've been thinking about, The one thing you can't live without
I'm the girl you've been waiting for
I'll have you down on your knees, I'll have you begging for more}

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face as the crowd cheers. She turns and shows off her notorious rear end, swaying it back and forth...

{I can be, I can be your eve... ry... thing}

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, then Kandis turns around, arms spread and feet wide apart as vocalist Maria Brink shouts:

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

Kandis starts down the ramp as the rest of the chorus continues, the sway in her hips ever present as she smirks at all the cheers, even blowing sarcastic kisses to the crowd.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Santa Barbara California.... she is Kandis!”

{I am the dirt you created
I am your sinner, I am your whore
But let me tell you something, baby
You love me for everything you hate me for}

Kandis goes up the ring steps and enters the ring through the second and top rope slowly, making sure to show off her ass. The heavy music fades out as Kandis goes to her corner.

Sharper: “Kandis, last week, showing her pure anger at the situation Selena created by giving Religious Wright a World Title match. She came out and devastated him.”

Knots: “Yeah and then one move and bam, Selena retained! We believe!”

Sharper: “Kandis out here, as is Ace Sky. So Selena’s not going to be returning the favour it looks like.”

The bell sounds. Kandis steps up as Ace does too. Both get into kick-boxing stances and Ace goes for a jab. Kandis jukes back. Ace tries another and then jumps up with a spinning back kick. Kandis dodges and then hits a shoot kick to the chest of Ace. Ace falls back to the mat. The crowd ohs. He gets up and Kandis forearms him in the jaw and then grabs him and rushes him into the corner. Kandis knees him in the ribs once and then again and again and again.

Kandis steps back as Ace winces in pain, looking at her. He then steps out and Kandis runs at him and jumps up, hitting a jumping senton backsplash, knocking him back in.

Sharper: “Kandis! Aggressively driving herself into Ace Sky.”

Knots: “Sky better start thinking about a way to mount a defense. Kandis is not effing around.”

Ace falls awkwardly to the corner. He starts to get up and Kandis kicks him in the ribs and then drags him out and snapmares him down. She kicks him hard in the back. Ace falls back. Kandis goes for the pin.

Ace kicks out. He rolls over and Kandis gets up and grabs him. She then hooks him up, but Ace punches her in the rib a couple of times before leaning forward and bringing his foot up, catching Kandis in the face. Kandis staggers and Ace jumps up with a high knee to the jaw. Kandis falls to a knee and Ace stumbles back, stops himself, and then runs forward, hitting a meteora. He turns and goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Ace showing his quickness. Meteora knocks down Kandis.”

Knots: “Right into a pin. Not going to take any chance.

Kandis kicks out. Both get up and Ace kicks her in the shin once and then again. He goes a third time, but instead hits the Question Mark kick. Kandis drops to the mat. Ace then stands next to her and hits a standing moonsault .He hooks the leg.

Kandis kicks out again. She rolls over and stirs. Ace grabs her and knees her in the chest. He then whips her into the corner. Ace backs up and then runs across and goes for the Flash-Point, but Kandis moves out of the way and runs around the ring before then handspringing into the corner and hitting a back elbow to the back of Ace as he sits on the middle turnbuckle. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Ace Sky caught himself. Trapped in the ropes and Kandis went for a bit of flash and hit him hard.”

Knots: “That usually has another meaning for her!”

Ace falls back to the mat. He rolls over and starts to get up and Kandis runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for the Gratuitous, but Ace spins through and hits a school boy.

Kandis kicks out. Both get up and Kandis kicks him in the chest and then steps back and hits a kick to his chest before grabbing him by the head and driving her ass into the side of his face. Ace Sky goes down as Kandis walks around.

Knots: “Ass to the face!”

Sharper: “And Kandis resetting when she missed and that had some extra to it.”

Kandis turns as Ace rolls over, fighting back up. Kandis however grabs him from behind and throws him back with a mat slam. Ace rolls through. He then jumps up and goes for a spinning back kick, but Kandis dodges and spins through and catches him with the Starmaker. Ace drops to the mat. Kandis rolls him over and hooks the leg.

3!

Kandis rolls off as the bell sounds. She then gets up and looks out at the crowd.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Kandis!”

Sharper: “And Kandis with an emphatic end. Ace Sky didn’t stop. Tried to find ways to make that space, but Kandis just dialled in.”

Knots: “Dialled in and made sure to get all of that Starmaker.”

Sharper: “And look at the defiant look in her eyes. Kandis is just over a week away from challenging for the World Title and looking to repeat against Selena Frost.”

The crowd looks on as Kandis has her arm raised. As she does, the crowd boos as Selena Frost walks out from the back, World Championship over her shoulder. Kandis turns to the entrance way and smirks as Selena looks down at the ring, revealing a microphone in her hand. She then starts to applaud.

Selena: “Congratulations. You beat Ace Sky. Did you get the warm-up you wished?”

Kandis just scoffs at Selena Frost.

Selena: “Too bad that match revealed how easy it is for me to win at Retribution. Don’t believe me? The closed fists, the break on the ropes. Was it the proper cadence?”

Kandis mouths “You’re fucking joking, right?”

Selena: “We’ll find out Kandis. Because we have a proper official this time. One that will ensure a match that is called exactly as it should be. And if you don’t like it, that’s more with you.”

Selena looks at the ring as they boo her more.

Selena: “This will not be a repeat of Rise to Greatness XX. Instead, all of the chips are down on the table and at Phoenix, I will simple beat you and wait for the next valiant challenger to step up and fail. Simple as that. I came back after five months and got back what was mine! And Kandis, you won’t be taking it from me. Better settle for second best.”

Kandis backs up and extends her arms.

Selena: “And deal with the consequences of your actions…”

Knots: “Look behind!”

Sharper: “I don’t know if Selena had this planned, but look behind Kandis! Kandis! Turn around!”

The crowd roars as Religious Wright slides into the ring, chair in hand. He then runs at Kandis and slams the chair into her back. The crowd ohs. Kandis drops to her hands and knees. Selena calmly turns around and shakes her head as she heads to the back. Kandis stirs as Wright holds the chair up and slams it down into the back of Kandis again. She goes down. The crowd boos. Wright holds the chair up and looks around.

Sharper: “This…slug! Religious Wright from behind!”

Knots: “Gets beaten down by Selena, by Kandis, and still sides with Selena?!”

Sharper: “He believes…I guess.”

Knots: “And he’s not done!”

Wright then looks around before placing the chair next to Kandis’s head as she stirs. Wright then nods and smiles before looking up at the lights. He then turns and runs into the ropes. He lunges, going for the running straight kick to the chair, but Kandis gets up, grabs the chair and throws it at Wright’s face. Wright falls to the mat. He rolls over, holding his face and gets up only for Kandis to immediately drop him with the Starmaker. Kandis staggers and moves to the ropes, leaning on them, wincing and holding her back.

Sharper: “And Kandis fighting back!”

Knots: “What the hell was Wright thinking?”

Sharper: “Selena and Kandis can’t strike one another, but Wright, as a proxy…by Selena’s choice or not…Kandis standing tall, but in pain.”

Kandis wincing before “Whore” starts to play throughout the arena. Kandis turns to the entrance way, clearly annoyed, as the crowd cheers her.

Breakdown returns as we see Jessica Winters walking over to Selena Frost.

Winters: “Selena! Selena-“

Selena stops and turns, looking at Jessica Winters.

Selena: “Before you ask, no, I had nothing to do with Religious Wright’s attack. That was all him. I don’t attack from behind. And I certainly wouldn’t conspire with that.”

Selena goes to walk off.

Winters: “But-“

Selena: “But what?”

Selena looks at Jessica Winters.

Selena: “There is nothing more. Kandis can think what she wants. But I am done worrying about what that is when she, and so many others, are so supremely wrong. Believe it…or not.”

Selena turns and walks off again. Jessica Winters watches Selena leave before the scene cuts to the ring.

Gavin Taylor vs. “The One” Kirsten Scott

The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz wondering who is coming out.  As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.

Eins...

Zwei...

Drei...

Vier...

Fünf...

Sechs...

Sieben...

Acht...

Neun...

As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...

AUS!

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey.  The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey.  Kirsten and her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle.

As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up. Hailey goes into the ring, directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle rope, and The Oracle stands on the floor directly beneath Kirsten.  Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, while Hailey and The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's direction as well, all signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The One."

After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out in a "DELETE" motion, before quickly sliding into the open ropes from being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her corner.  Hailey quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the outside.  Both of "The One's" compatriots stand with her, advising her and talking to her, as she awaits the bell ringing to start her match.

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

Whoa is me

I'm so whoa

See me decked out from my head to my toe

Whoa is me

I'm so whoa

Everywhere I go I'm a one man show

And the song continues...

The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Say whoa (whoa)

The more I feel it whoa (whoa)

The more I need it whoa (whoa)

You say whoa

Whoa is me

I'm so whoa

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

The song continues...

I cheated to get what I got

Stepped all over you self for my spot

I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not

I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.

Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes.

Sharper: “Two weeks ago, Gavin Taylor interfered in Kirsten Scott’s match. It led her to beat Xander, but now, she’s looking to make a statement.”

Knots: “Yeah, but Gavin is too. Gavin is looking to remind everyone what he can do. And he called out Xander. He’s nuts!”

Gavin starts immediately with an eye rake.  He follows it up with several knife edge chops and a European uppercut.  Gavin whips Kirsten into the ropes and catches her with a sidewalk slam.  He then drops several elbows onto her midsection before pulling her up and slapping on an abdominal stretch.  Gavin wrenches it in tightly, applying more and more pressure to The One.

Sharper: “Working over the body. Gavin using his strength, his weight, to do so.”

Knots: “And Scott better start figuring things out.”

Kirsten picks a leg and applies an ankle lock.  Gavin quickly scrambles to the bottom rope after about ten seconds.  The One walks in but Gavin pokes her in the eye.  He runs in and catches her with a yakuza kick.  Gavin goes up to the second rope and drops an elbow.  He covers…

1…

…2Kickout!

Gavin whips The One into the ropes but he lowers his head too early and she makes him pay with a vicious kick to the face, a superkick, and then a step up enziguri dropping him to his knees.  She superkicks the side of his head and he falls flat to the mat.  Scott drops both knees to his back and then applies an arm bar.

Sharper: “And working over the arm!”

Knots: “Scott may be showing Taylor that she can outwrestle the best of them.”

Gavin fights to the bottom ropes, eventually reaching them after about fifteen seconds.  She lets him sit up before delivering knee strike after knee strike to the back of Gavin’s head, eventually causing him to drop back down to the mat.  She leaps up and drops both knees to the arm she had just applied an arm bar to.

Sharper: “And back to the arm. Maybe looking to cause an injury here.”

Knots: “Or Gavin to give up early?”

Sharper: “I can’t see Gavin doing that, but again, big match at Retribution. Big matches for both!”

Scott goes to reapply the arm bar but Gavin kicks her away.  She charges in angrily but Gavin catches her with a spinning spine buster.  He pulls her back to her feet and delivers a delayed vertical suplex.  He floats over into a cover…

1…

2…Kickout!

Gavin hits a belly to belly suplex.  He rises back up to his feet and waits as Kirsten sits back up.  He hits the ropes, comes back, and delivers The All Starmaker!  He covers…

1…

2…

…3NO!

Sharper: “Only two! The All Starmaker didn’t get her.”

Knots: “But Gavin’s not going to let that get him down. Try, try again!”

Gavin pulls Scott back up to her feet.  He then runs off the ropes and goes for The Gavin Taylor Lariat but Kirsten manages to duck out of the way, float over, and strike him with a ddt!  Kirsten uses the ropes to pull herself back up.  Gavin pushes himself back to his feet.  Kirsten with a hammerlock.  Gavin reverses into a hammerlock of his own.  Kirsten then counters again, this time with an arm ddt!

Sharper: “DDT!”

Knots: “Just spiked the poor bastard.”

Kirsten Scott goes to follow up but Gavin rakes her eyes.  He pulls himself up.  He charges but Scott moves out of the way just in time and Gavin’s shoulder slams into the steel ring post!  Scott then rolls him up from behind…

1…

2…

…3NO!

Kirsten immediately gets back to her feet.  She watches Gavin, measuring him for another strike.  She connects with a discuss elbow, a spinning heel kick, and then she goes for a superkick but Gavin manages to avoid the superkick and counters into a Desperation Buzzer Beater, STO. The One rolls to the apron.  Gavin quickly grabs her, pulls her through the ropes, and drops her with Cubic Zirconium Cutter.

Sharper: “Driving her into the ring with the Cubic Zirconium Cutter!”

Knots: “And Gavin knew he got it all. Look at the smile on his face. That’s a man who looks like he’s having a good time.”

Gavin pulls Scott back to her feet.  He starts to apply The All Star Stretch but she keeps fighting to avoid it getting locked in fully.  Finally Scott counters with a stunner variation.  Kirsten gets back up.  She runs off the ropes but Gavin catches her with a Gavin Taylor Lariat!  He covers…

1…

2…

…3NO! Kirsten barely kicks out!

Sharper: “And a kickout!”

Knots: “Gavin Taylor Lariat didn’t get it done?”

Gavin Taylor pulls himself back up.  He measures Kirsten as she starts to recover.  She turns around and Gavin goes for The Dependable Roundhouse but she catches his foot and snaps off a dragon screw.  Kirsten applies a leg grapevine.  Gavin crawls towards the ropes as Kirsten wrenches the leg tightly.  After about fifteen seconds he reaches the ropes, forcing a break.  Kirsten drags him back out to the center and tries for a figure four but Gavin counters into a small package…

1…

2…

…3NO!

Kirsten pops back up immediately.  Just then there’s a roar from the fans, it’s Xander Valentine making his way down to the ring! Kirsten drops Gavin with a super kick before turning her attention to Xander. She furiously tells him not to get involved. This serves as a necessary distraction for Gavin. Gavin gets to his feet.  Kirsten goes for a superkick but Gavin avoids it and connects with the Dependable Roundhouse!  Gavin follows it up with Highlight of the Night!  He covers…

1…

2…

…3!

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Gavin Taylor!”

Xander looks in the ring as Gavin Taylor looks at him.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine just helped Gavin Taylor win!”

Knots: “Didn’t go after Gavin, but Scott?”

Sharper: “Guess that stuck in him, but Xander and Gavin staring down.”

Knots: “This just after Scott helped Amy Chastaine. The mind games here, what the hell?!”

Gavin Taylor looks at Xander as Xander then continues to glare at him before turning around and heading to the back. Gavin Taylor however then starts to celebrate, pleased enough with his win as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Kandis pacing backstage. Jessica Winters stands with her.

Winters: “Welcome back to Breakdown and I am here with Kandis, the number one contender to the SCW World Championship. You face Selena Frost at Retribution, but I assume you want to speak on what happened out there.”

Kandis: “What happened? That dimwitted preacher who has his head so far up Selena’s ass came out and jumped me. So I dropped him. I dropped Ace Sky. And at Retribution, I’m going to drop you Selena.”

The crowd roars.

Kandis: “Call me out for my tactics. If you want ticky-tack crap to be your way of retaining the title, then you’re just the fraud we all knew you were. Then again, you already are a fraud given that you left and got all sad because these fans finally saw through your bullshit. We believe. Yeah, we believe you suck!”

The crowd roars.

Kandis: “But while you stand there, proudly holding that title, I’m instead going to use Retribution to be MY night to get that title back, just as you did at Body, Heart, and Soul. I wanted it to be Asher Hayes’s face I was kicking in to regain it. I’ll have to settle for you. But one thing will be for sure…just like at Rise to Greatness…I will leave no doubt who is the champion. Write your narrative. I’ll write mine. The difference…people BELIEVE mine and I will be standing as champion again, shamelessly rubbing it in your face. And then, you can do us all a favour and screw off back home. Go cry to your kids. Then at least you won’t be a waste. They’ll see what failure is and who not to be when they grow up.”

The crowd roars as Kandis heads off. Jessica Winters watches her leave, mouthing “wow” as the scene cuts away.

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play.  A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight. She holds her SCW Underground Championship as she winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it. She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope.  Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans. The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to the corner where she’s handed a microphone by Jason Phillips.

Sharper: “Last time we saw Kimberly Williams, she was in that war with David Striker. But that’s not all…Striker managed to beat Kimberly in her domain.”

Knots: “And the look she had after was one of almost being impressed. She was smiling!”

Kim walks back to the middle of the ring.

Kim: “Hello my Kimmymaniacs!”

The crowd cheers.

Kim: “Cross border too!”

Kim nods and walks around the ring.

Kim: “And well, sadly, I’m not out here to maim anyone…”

The crowd boos.

Kim: “Sorry! But I’m going to be a good Kimmy for one night only. I know, I know. It’s boring, but come along with me for the ride. Sometimes you need to try it and well, with James Evans gone, I can actually enjoy this instead of having massive wars with high casualties and pain for all involved! I can just have fun being the Queen of the Deathmatch and kicking ass. And well…”

Kim looks around.

Kim: “I got my ass kicked!”

Kim smiles.

Kim: “Yeah! I did! By someone new! Someone I didn’t know. Davey Boy Crockett! And he won! He beat me…it was non-title. But he beat me…in a war. The guy dove over the top rope and throw himself through a table to destroy me and I felt alive!”

Kim smiles.

Kim: “And I want to do it again!”

The crowd cheers.

Kim: “Oh yeah, I want to do it again, Davey Boy!”

Kim smiles as she walks over to the corner.

Kim: “I know you’re back there. I hear you’re looking to protect someone. That’s all well and good, but I want round two, David! And I hear you want it too! I want round two, not just anywhere, but at Retribution…and this time, I want to put my Underground Championship on the line!”

The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Oh boy!”

Kim: “So Davey Boy! What do you say? Huh?! What do you say? We run it back, bigger stage, more opportunities, and we see what we do to each other this time! Title on the line! I’ll see you there! I’ll bring WASLEY!”

Kim smiles as “Patient Number 9” plays throughout the arena again. The crowd cheers as Kim turns and looks at the crowd. She plays to them some more as they cheers grow.

Sharper: “A big challenge. Kimberly Williams wants a rematch and she’s going to put her title on the line to get it!”

Knots: “And David Striker, if he does what he did last week…we could have a new Underground Champion. And could Kim be happy about that?!”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but she wants that battle. She wants it at Retribution!”

Kim continues to play to the crowd before we cut backstage.

Backstage, we see Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson backstage. Ginny Raab is with them. The crowd boos seeing them as we see they tear through the backstage area. Dakon then points. They then run forward.

Theron: “We never finished with you two!”

Theron yells as the camera turns to show Colleen and Aisling in the catering area. Theron runs over and kicks Colleen in the ribs as Aisling gets a shot in on Eriksson before he wraps her up and tackles her over one of the tables. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “What the hell? The European Fiery Nation is attacking Colleen and Aisling!”

Knots: “Well they had issues with them earlier this year. Theron said they had unfinished business!”

Sharper: “So it’s jumping them backstage?!”

Colleen covers up as Theron gets a few shots in before going to throw her into a wall. Theron kicks her in the ribs and nails her with a couple of shots before Eriksson gets up as Aisling grabs at a tray. She tries to hit Eriksson with it, but Eriksson elbows her in the jaw and then starts to choke her. The crowd looks on before we see Chris Dumont and David Striker running into the scene.

Sharper: “Striker! And that’s Chris Dumont who we saw with him earlier!”

Knots: “They went after SMP for what he attempted against Colleen last week and now they’re here!”

Sharper: “So many David didn’t hear Kim’s challenge…”

Striker runs over and hits a running tackle to Theron, taking him down. Dumont runs over to Eriksson and pulls him off. He gets a few shots in as the crowd roars. Striker gets up and Colleen looks at him as Aisling stirs. Striker and Theron trade some blows before officials run into the scene. They get in and start to break people apart as Dumont and Eriksson keep going at it, as do Theron and Striker.

Amelia Blythe vs. Syren

“No. 14 Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Blythe makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. After a moment of this, the Beethoven piece begins to fade and seamlessly transitions into “Victorious” by Skillet, and as it does La Pequeña Luz skips out from behind Amelia and stands beside her, giving her a pep talk before planting a quick kiss on her cheek which brings a smile to Amelia’s face.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall for TV time remaining and is your main event of the evening. First, on her way to the ring, accompanied by La Pequena Luz, she hails from Oxford, England, she is Amelia Blythe!”

The two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia’s look growing more determined and battle-ready as Luz continues her pep talk. Once they reach ringside, Amelia pulls Luz into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and mask and handing them off to Luz on the outside, Luz taking the opportunity to give some last minute advice and encouragement.

Sharper: “Amelia Blythe with a big opportunity here, not just for her singles career, but she could send Dark Fantasy into a spiral.”

Knots: “Light in the Darkness has beat Dark Fantasy twice in a row. Make it three in a row.”

Sharper: “It would also serve to end Syren’s win streak too. Another big hurt for Syren and LexyCorp.”

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain accompanied by Lexy Chapel. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering, as Lexy waves her arms, trying to get them to cheer even louder for her client.

Sinfully Seductive

Captivatingly Corrupt

DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.

Phillips: “Her opponent, being accompanied by Lexy Chapel and representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, this is SYREN!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client. She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Syren takes off her ring jacket and hands that to Lexy. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down and standing in her corner with Lexy as her music fades out.

Sharper: “And we should add one other wrinkle here. Ravyn Taylor threatened Amelia Blythe.”

Knots: “This is an actual match, right?”

Sharper: “It is, but apparently, if Amelia attempts to injure Syren, she will consider that means for Ravyn toa act as she sees fit and last week, she made it clear. If someone tries to take either her or Syren out, Ravyn will take them out so they can’t make it to Retribution.”

Knots: “This is a match though! What if Amelia goes for a submission?”

Sharper: “I don’t know. I really don’t want to be in Ravyn’s head!”

The bell sounds and Syren looks at Amelia. Lexy gives Syren some marching orders which seem to be “superkick” repeated. Syren and Amelia circle the ring and lock up in the middle. They push back on one another and Syren moves into an arm wrench. She jerks on the arm and moves into a side headlock. Amelia pulls her back into the ropes and fires her off. Syren bounces off and Amelia steps up and hits a drop toe hold. She then jumps forward into a side headlock of her own. Syren starts to get her knees under her and slowly gets up. She goes to clothesline Blythe, but Blythe turns, catching Syren with a European uppercut. Syren stumbles back into the corner.

Knots: “Look at the stage. Look at the floor!”

Sharper: “And there’s Ravyn Taylor. The Bad, Bade Girl coming out and did she take that suplex as something too much.”

Ravyn Taylor climbs onto the rampway and then starts to head to the ring. Lexy Chapel sees her and then seemingly gulps before turning back to the ring, willing Syren on. Luz sees Ravyn, walking around the ring as Ravyn reaches the ring. Ravyn however just climbs onto the apron as Luz then runs around the ring and hops onto the ring steps before jumping up and running along the apron and hitting a spear. Ravyn hits the apron and then rolls to the floor.

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor was focused entirely on the ring. She just was about to get in.”

Knots: “Luz just took her out!”

Sharper: “That’s not like Ravyn. She doesn’t do that. That was if it was pure anger.”

Sharper: “Twisted & Sadistic are out here!”

Knots: “Lohan has something in mind. Glory stopped!”

Sharper: “Not anymore!”

Lohan then runs over to Ravyn and Ravyn then gets up to grab and attack Lohan, but Lohan knees her in the ribs and then lifts her up and throws her against the ring apron!

Sharper: “And Ravyn…she was staying down. I think it was a ruse after. She needed it to look good and took the hit, but they’re not going after Syren!”

Demitra looks on as Lohan then grabs Ravyn. Luz sees this as Glory climbs onto the apron. She looks at Lohan. Lohan nods at her again. Glory then climbs up to the top rope. The crowd roars as Lohan then lifts Ravyn up and starts to set up for the vertebreaker.

Chapel looks on and looks away before shaking her head.

Chapel: “Hey! Hey!”

Braddock climbs to the top rope and looks at Lohan and Ravyn before steadying herself. She then squats down, showing some hesitancy. Lohan tells her to do it, but before she can, Luz enters the ring, runs across and dives over the top rope and hits a corkscrew flip dive into Lohan and Ravyn, knocking them over. Lohan drops Ravyn, causing her to land on her side as Luz takes them out. Blythe and Syren meanwhile keep fighting. Blythe rolls over as Syren falls back. Chapel slides into the ring. Luz looks over at Lohan and Ravyn who are down. Chapel starts to raise Syren’s hand ignoring Ravyn while Blythe looks at Glory and Luz and Blythe look at one another, disappointed.

Sharper: “Syren manages to shift the Okana roll to her advantage. She keeps her streak alive, making the Retribution match that much more important for her beyond solely the tag titles.”

Knots: “But what about Ravyn? Syren keeps looking over there. Chapel wants to celebrate. And Lohan and Braddock…Lohan had a plan.”

Sharper: “And Light in the Darkness. Blythe and Luz watching each other’s back even in the match. So many variables and these three teams will meet at Retribution, tag titles on the line!”

Syren keeps glancing at Ravyn as Chapel keeps holding her arm up as Breakdown slowly fades to black…
