“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

Autumn Valentine hitting the Blindspot on a foe follows before we see a shot of Owen Lee and Daisy Lee on their way to the ring, and then a shot of Kimberly Williams licking a staple gun. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are live in OKC for Breakdown, with all of the fallout from Body, Heart, and Soul and as we head to one of the biggest nights of the year, Retribution!”

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd. After a few moments, we cut to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and well, folks, you’re probably wondering where Simon Lyman is.”

Knots: “The man went too far. Simple as that.”

Sharper: “He went too far?’

Knots: “Okay, so he got in trouble and Kandis lost it.”

Sharper: “Let’s take a look…”

BODY, HEART & SOUL 2023

The Body, Heart and Soul logo comes up on the screen as we see a still of Kandis disappointed in the ring, having just lost to Asher Hayes. We cut to show her next to the announce table.

Sharper: “Kandis rolled to the ring. She had just lost to Asher Hayes in a hard fought match. Simon continued to do his job. He analyzed things.”

Knots: “Well yeah, but sometimes you need to realize what’s around you.”

Sharper: “Kandis overheard some of the comments he was making and we should note – there has been some issues here. When Kandis had those papers from Jenni Anderson. She had Simon read them and shoved him back.”

We then cut to a still of Kandis berating Lyman before Kandis grabs Lyman. We cut to Lyman being thrown into the ring and then showing Kandis grabbing a steel chair and entering the ring.

Knots: “Kandis lost it. She threw Lyman into the ring. Grabbed a chair.”

Sharper: “But Lyman wasn’t going to take it and stunningly, he hit the Leading the Revolution on Kandis, stunning her!”

We cut to a shot of Kandis lunging at Lyman only for Lyman to superkick her. We cut to showing Lyman looking at Kandis and then the crowd before showing Kandis down in the ring, holding her jaw. The Body, Heart and Soul logo comes up on the screen.

We cut to ringside.

Sharper: “And in that moment, Lyman stunned us all. He’s been retired for years.”

Knots: “Lyman may have been asking for it, but Kandis crossed a line and-“

We then see Kandis walking down to the ring, wearing a leather jacket, and tight jeans. She glances at the ring and then at ringside. The crowd boos loudly.

Knots: “Oh great. She may have heard you. Adam, get ready to defend yourself? I want to see you throw a superkick!”

Sharper: “The hell is that happening!”

Kandis storms to the ring and walks around the ring. She ignores the fans who are booing her as she walks around and to the announce position. She notices Simon’s absence before shaking her head.

Kandis: “Tell that coward I’m looking for him!”

Kandis turns and walks over to ring announcer Jason Phillips and demanding a microphone. Phillips obliges and Kandis takes it. She turns to the entrance way.

Kandis: “So you’re not out here. Nice job! Can’t even be bothered to do your job after you decided you wanted a fight!”

Kandis walks up the steel steps as the crowd boos. She walks along the apron.

Kandis: “Simon Lyman!”

The crowd roars.

Kandis: “I don’t know why you have a problem with me. I heard the bullsh[bleep] you were saying about me at ringside. I was more than ready. I just didn’t need to jump through hoops and should have my damn title shot. But then you wanted to avoid your punishment. See, I’m done taking it on the chin from people who’s opinions don’t matter or people like Asher Hayes who is just going to fall short when the time comes, just like he usually does in anything he thinks matters!”

The crowd ohs.

Kandis: “But Simon…you know what. Right now, the fact that you’re not out here. I should be saying this to your face, because well, the bandaid is ripped off and I’m now just getting started, so, Simon Lyman…get your ass out here!”

The crowd roars as Kandis starts to pace in the ring.

Knots: “Stay backstage. You’re not okay to compete!”

Sharper: “Simon Lyman is here. I should feel compelled to tell our fans that.”

Knots: “He should stay back there!”

Kandis paces a bit more before the lights dim. The crowd erupts. A few moments pass before “Hero” by Skillet plays throughout the arena. A few more moments pass before Simon Lyman walks out from the back, dressed in a sport coat, dress shirt and slacks. He has a cane in his hand as he uses it to walk to the ring. Kandis rolls her eyes.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman won’t stay in the back. He didn’t back down at Body, Heart, and Soul. Won’t tonight.”

Knots: “Great. Now I have to tell Trinity that her baby daddy is going to be murdered on live television!”

Simon Lyman walks down to the ring as the crowd cheers him. “Lyman!” chants break out as Lyman stops and looks around. He then walks up the steel steps gingerly. He then slowly enters the ring. Kandis rolls her eyes. She mentions something to Phillips. Phillips hands her another microphone. Lyman steps forward as Kandis then tosses the microphone to Lyman.

Kandis: “I don’t want to see you milk this for more than it’s worth. You damn sure didn’t need that cane at Body, Heart, and Soul.”

Lyman smirks as the crowd cheers. He looks at Kandis and brings the microphone to his mouth.

Lyman: “Good for me, huh?”

Kandis: “Oh…I’m just getting started. You don’t like me, Simon. Do you?”

Lyman: “Didn’t really think one way or another until a couple of weeks ago…and then Body, Heart, and Soul. So no, I don’t.”

The crowd cheers.

Kandis: “You don’t think I should be World Champion-“

Lyman: “I never said that.”

Kandis: “I heard it come from your mouth. I wasn’t ready.”

Lyman: “And you weren’t! You came back, house on fire, thinking because you outlasted everyone in the End of the Year Special you were ready to come back to the highest level in wrestling just like that. Well, Kandis, trust me, as someone who has over twenty years of experience, I’ve seen better people try and fail. No matter how driven they were.”

Kandis just turns away, scoffing and laughing.

Kandis: “Can’t even put any respect on my name. Well, this is just getting easier, because Simon, I think you’re full of sh[bleep]!”

The crowd boos. Lyman looks at Kandis.

Kandis: “You don’t need that cane. You can defend yourself, but you act helpless there, while you take the piss out of everyone. And well, you know what…Body, Heart and Soul was a detour. I know I damn well deserve a title shot, and well, until I get it, I’m going to…warm up and prove I’m ready, Simon, by facing people who piss me off and you’re at the top of the list, Simon!”

The crowd roars.

Kandis: “And you showed you can still throw a kick. And I’ll give you that credit. I wasn’t expecting that. But toss the cane away…and well, you can see how ready I am.”

The crowd roars some more as Simon Lyman looks at her.

Lyman: “So what? You want to face me in a match. I’ve been calling matches at ringside for the last year and a half. I survived a stroke, Kandis. I managed to call my career on my terms and you want me to just throw that all way, risk it all because you’re pissed off.”

Kandis: “I just think if you’re going to talk shit, you should be able to eat it too.”

Lyman: “Oh…that’s it.”

Lyman shrugs.

Lyman: “Well then, you’re not happy that I called it like it is. You’re frustrated you’re not thrust back at the top. I get it…injuries suck. Sometimes our bodies let us down. You know that…I know that well.”

Lyman steps forward, still using the cane.

Lyman: “And you know what, Kandis…you hate me. Great. I don’t care for you. Doesn’t mean you’re not a good wrestler. Doesn’t mean you won’t be champ at some point. But well, if I’m going to ‘talk shit’ as you put it…”

Lyman throws the cane down. He then steps up to Kandis as the crowd erupts.

Lyman: “Then how does Retribution feel? Sounds like a good name, huh?...”

The crowd cheers some more.

Sharper: “Simon, wait!”

Lyman: “…Because Kandis...you put your hands on me. And well…you’re talking [bleep], so…”

Kandis scoffs and looks at him.

Kandis: “You’ve giving me a chance to kick your ass. You’re not going to sue me?”

Lyman looks down at Kandis.

Lyman: “No, Kandis. And you’re not going to kick my ass! So, since I’m the coward…what do you say?”

The crowd roars.

Kandis: “Simon…I’m going you back into retirement. And you’ll be my next stepping stone to MY time at the top!”

Kandis and Lyman look at one another. Kandis then backs up.

Sharper: “Simon…what are you thinking? Are you even cleared?”

Knots: “He’s just agreed to a match at Retribution!”

The crowd chants “Lyman!” over and over as Kandis backs up. She looks at Simon as Simon steps back and turns, walking fine without his cane. Kandis stops and glances back as Simon watches her. Kandis smirks and then walks over to the cane and grabs it.

Sharper: “Breaking the cane!”

She turns and breaks it over her knee. The crowd boos as she then shoves it into his chest. Lyman holds it as Kandis turns and exits the ring, dropping down to the floor. She heads up the rampway.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman coming out of retirement to face Kandis at Retribution?!”

Knots: “How?!”

Backstage, we see Jessica Winters at the SCW interview area.

Winters: “So big questions about this challenge by Simon Lyman. I’ll try and get some follow up from him later. Meanwhile, I’m Jessica Winters and please welcome at this time, the challenger for the SCW Television Champion, Glory Braddock!”

The crowd gives a bit of a mixed reaction as Glory Braddock comes into view.

Winters: “Glory, thanks for joining me?”

Braddock: “Thanks for having me.”

Winters: “So tonight, you could fast track yourself to be only one title away from the Supreme Championship. We got a slight taste of what you and Blythe could do at Body, Heart, and Soul.”

Braddock: “She’s a great talent. She clearly can go, but now she has to get used to the big thing about the TV title. You’re in that ring, defending the title, every week. It’s an endurance title. Some can do that. Some can’t. And we’re going to find out if she can’t and if she can’t, I know I can. It’s a challenge I want and I want to excel at. Simple as that.”

Winters: “Well you say that, but you’re also focusing on a new attitude. You’ve moved on from Amelia Stone. You helped Asher Hayes a few weeks ago. You’ve been trying to get back focused.”

Braddock: “Just realized I lost perspective. I went too far one wany and turned my back on so many. Simple as that. No excuses. And if people boo me out there or cheer for me, so be it. I’m going to work on getting people back behind me the best way I know how.”

Winters: “Which is?”

Braddock: “Wrestle.”

Winters: “Thanks for your time, Glory. Good luck.”

Braddock: “Thanks.”

Winters: “Glory Braddock will challenge Amelia Blythe for the SCW Television Championship later tonight on Breakdown. That and much more to come, don’t go anywhere!”

The scene fades to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

We open up with a shot of a chair with a modest houseplant next to it in front of a beige wall. We hear the sound of people shuffling in the background, before even the sound of a phone going off. After a few moments, we finally hear a frustrated voice.

???: “Where is she?”

A few moments pass before we hear a door open and we then see Holly Adams walk forward, covered by a housecoat. She has her hair up and looks forward.

Holly: “Oh…this was today?”

???: “Yeah, you wanted more of these for the new year. You know…as you prepare for the end of your off-season.”

Holly sighs.

Holly: “Just send this. It’s probably better than other stuff. I mean, I’m already great, so people can get my coaching to get half of great as this.”

Holly shrugs and walks off. The scene goes opaque as the Holly Adams Brand logo comes up on the screen.

“Join her Patreon for all the H.A.B. content!”

Her Patreon link comes up but misspelled H.A.B. as HAG. The logo and link stay on the screen for a moment longer before fading out.

Jamison Logan vs. Reginald Dampshaw III

Phillips: The following contest is set for one fall and is a STREET FIGHT!!! Introducing first... From Ottawa, Ontario, Canada... Weighing in at 293 pounds... JAMISON LOGAN!!!

Jamison's music hits, "Y'all ready for this" and then shortly after, Jamison comes out. He looks around and gets pumped up but little crowd reaction. Makes his way to the ring and hops up on the barricade. He gets in the ring and looks around but doesn’t do much before heading to his corner.

Sharper: Jamison Logan looking rather disinterested here, Jon.

Knots: That could cost him, because his opponent is a formidable one indeed.

The lights go out and soon, and after a few seconds, dark, technical music kicks in.

"And did those feet in ancient time

Walk upon England's mountains green

And was the holy lamb of God

On England's pleasant pastures seen"

Dampshaw slowly comes out, cracking his neck and stretching his arms before walking down the ramp. His long, black and gold robe billows out under his legs as he walks.

Phillips: From Ryde, Isle of Wight, England, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is "The Time Lizard"...REEEEEGGGGINNNNNALLLD DAAAAMMMMMPPPSSSHAAAWWW III!

"Bring me my Bow of burning gold

Bring me my arrows of desire

Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold

Bring me my Chariot of fire"

Reginald slowly enters the ring and walks over to a turnbuckle. He climbs onto it and closes his eyes with his arms outstretched. He opens them back up, looking around at the audience before jumping down to the mat. He removes his robe and puts his arm behind his back and raises his other arm high in the air.

Knots: Even his ring entrance is impressive.

Sharper: I can’t argue with that. But how long will it take before they realize this is a street fight?

Knots: Your guess is as good as mine, Adam.

The bell rings and Jamison lunges at Reginald, catching the aristocrat off guard.

Sharper: I take back what I said about Jamison being disinterested!

Knots: He has a score to settle with Mr. Dampshaw!

Sharper: That’s right too, Reginald tried to pick a fight with him shortly after joining the company!

Jamison hasn’t forgotten that as he rains fists down on Reginald’s head and shoulders. Reginald finally throws his elbow into Jamison’s stomach and makes the bigger man stumble a little. He keeps doing that until he can get out of arm’s reach.

Knots: And Reginald finding a way to get a few seconds of reprieve from Jamison’s unrelenting assault!

Sharper: But here comes Jamison again!

Jamison avalanches Reginald against the ropes!

Sharper: Oh that was brutal!

Knots: Is that enough, though?

Jamison moves back and Reginald drops to one knee. But instead of going for the cover, Jamison rolls out of the ring and starts rummaging underneath.

Knots: It looks like he’s clued in to the rules of this match, Adam!

Sharper: It certainly does!

Jamison doesn’t seem to find what he’s looking for right away, so he moves down a little. Unbeknownst to him, Reginald is back on his feet. He can see Jamison looking under the ring for something and takes advantage of the other man’s distraction to slip out of the ring behind him, sneak up and hit him with a low blow.

Knots: That shot is perfectly legal in a match like this, folks!

Sharper: Absolutely. Anything goes in a street fight!

Knots: And it doesn’t matter how big you are. If you get hit with a low blow, it’s gonna hurt!

Jamison is no exception. The pain that ripples across his face is real. But he turns around and hits Reginald with the short bundle of rope he found under the ring before stumbling backward to keep from getting hit there again.

Sharper: Jamison showing some wisdom by backing away from Reginald after that wicked shot to the groin.

Knots: And he hit Reginald with some rope he found under the ring!

Sharper: Anything can be used as a weapon here tonight. Even the timekeeper’s chair can be a weapon!

Knots: Don’t give these guys any ideas, Adam!

Sharper: I’m just explaining things for the viewers at home, Jon.

Knots: Oh, okay then.

Reginald picks up the rope Jamison dropped after hitting him with it and gets a wicked gleam in his eyes. He unwraps it and shakes it out before winding it around his fist and part of his forearm.

Sharper: This does not bode well for Jamison Logan!

Knots: No it doesn’t!

Reginald gets in close and punches Jamison with that rope-covered fist of his. The rope absorbs the impact and keeps Reginald from getting hurt. He punches Jamison again and again before winding up like he’s going to throw a haymaker.

Sharper: If Reginald makes contact that could be the end for Jamison!

Reginald throws the punch... And comes into contact with the barricade at ringside!

Knots: I don’t believe it! Jamison Logan moved at the last possible second!

Sharper: Reginald can’t believe it either!

Knots: And here comes Jamison!

Jamison yanks at the rope and finally succeeds in pulling it off Reginald’s arm before lifting the smaller man up onto his shoulder. He’s so intent on ending Reginald he doesn’t see the commotion at the top of the ramp. Reginald wiggles and squirms until he slides down Jamison’s back and puts his feet on the floor.

Sharper: We seem to have a commotion at the top of the ramp here, ladies and gentlemen...

Konrad Raab shoves past security with a short length of two by four in one hand.

Knots: What’s Konrad doing out here!?

Sharper: I don’t know but he looks angry!

Knots: He always looks angry, Adam!

Konrad storms down to the ringside area and smashes Reginald across the back with that piece of wood he brought with him. Reginald cringes away from the blow and stumbles forward. Konrad advances with evil intentions in mind.

Sharper: And there’s Jamison Logan getting in Konrad’s way!

Knots: I don’t know if that’s such a good idea!

Jamison shoves Konrad backward and Konrad loses his grip on the wood he was holding. He doesn’t hear it hit the ground as he lunges forward to shove Jamison.

Sharper: Jamison Logan and Konrad Raab have engaged in a shoving contest here during this street fight!

Konrad has finally had enough and nails Jamison with an uppercut to the throat. Jamison stumbles away coughing and holding his throat.

Knots: I knew it wasn’t a good idea for Jamison to get in Konrad’s way!

Sharper: Some people just have to learn things the hard way.

Knots: I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic or not.

Sharper: It’s a statement of fact. Take it how you will.

Knots: There’s hope for you yet.

Kim Williams comes through the crowd and hops over the barricade while Konrad is going after Jamison.

Knots: And there’s Kim Williams!

Sharper: She doesn’t look any worse for wear after being in the main event of Body, Heart and Soul against Owen Cruze.

Knots: No, she doesn’t. But what on earth is she doing out here?

Kim starts rummaging under the ring and pulls out a steel chair, a kendo stick, a toolbox and various other odds and ends that got left there. She finds something that makes her giggle as she pulls it out.

Sharper: Why is there a toaster under the ring!?

Knots: That’s a good question! Toasters don’t belong at ringside!

Kim cradles the toaster for a moment and seems to be whispering to it before she turns and throws it into Reginald’s stomach. Reginald doubles over and she picks up the toaster.

Sharper: Is she singing to it!?

Knots: That’s what it looks like to me!

Sharper: I knew Kim wasn’t totally sane, but this... Well, this takes the cake!

Kim carefully puts the toaster down and picks up the kendo stick before advancing on the retreating Reginald. She lifts it above her head and CRACK!!!

Knots: What a shot across the spine with that kendo stick!

Meanwhile, Konrad and Jamison have fought their way back to where Konrad dropped the wood he was carrying earlier. Konrad lays Jamison out with a back body drop.

Sharper: That’s going to hurt come morning!

Knots: I’d say it’s hurting already!

Konrad picks up the wood and spots something in Kim’s pile of goodies. He goes over to it and carefully removes what he saw before holding it up with a demented grin on his face.

Sharper: Oh no! That’s lighter fluid!

Knots: He’s not going to –

He is. Konrad opens the lighter fluid and squirts it on the piece of wood he’s carrying. There’s a barbecue lighter in Kim’s stash too and he picks it up, that demented grin still in place.

Sharper: Oh, this is going to be bad!

Konrad clicks the lighter until the flame appears, then touches it to the lighter fluid soaked wood. Flames engulf the lumber in his hand and he stares into it almost like he’s in a trance. Officials pour out from the back and one of them is carrying a fire extinguisher.

Knots: And here comes the referee corps to restore order!

The official with the fire extinguisher goes up to Konrad and blasts the burning wood with the chemical mixture inside the red cylinder. Konrad can be heard shouting at the official.

Konrad: That was my fire!

The bell rings in the background and the referee assigned to the match speaks to Jason Phillips.

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has declared this match a NO CONTEST!

Three of the officials start pushing Konrad backstage and he lashes out to kick at something before allowing them to escort him from the ringside area. More officials come from the back to check on Jamison and Reginald and they can hear a scream from the other side of the ring.

Kim: MY TOASTER!!!

Sure enough, the toaster she found under the ring is now a pile of scrap.

Sharper: So that’s what Konrad kicked.

Knots: Poor Kim!

Sharper: I hope she can get over it... Anyway, we’ll be back with our next match in a few minutes while they restore order here at ringside.

Backstage, we see Lexy Chapel walking through the backstage area. She straightens out her pantsuit before then running over and jumping up and placing her arm around Syren.

Syren: “What the-“

Chapel: “Well! Hello there!”

Syren: “Lexy! Geez…Scared the crap out of me.”

Chapel: “Probably thinking Ravyn or Xander was going to come up and just…”

Chapel makes a clicking noise while running her thumb across her throat.

Syren: “They won’t kill me.”

Chapel: “Yeah…sure…sure…But you still need some good ideas about what to do about someone like Xander who clearly doesn’t like you.”

Syren: “It’s a misunderstanding. Simple as that.”

Chapel: “Naturally….so…I can make him disappear-“

Syren looks at Chapel.

Syren: “I don’t want him to disappear.”

Chapel: “I have a bear that’s going to be ready to go. Just say the word.”

Syren: “I don’t need anything done, Lexy. Thanks…but I’m going to take care for this.”

Syren turns and heads off. Chapel looks at her and pouts.

Chapel: “Call me if you need it all taken care of. LexyCorp bags em, tags em and…uh…you know!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns backstage as we see Simon Lyman standing with Jessica Winters at the SCW interview area.

Winters: “Welcome back to Breakdown. I’m here with Simon Lyman and Simon, you challenged Kandis to a match. We need to ask this question – we believed you were retired. That health risks were going to be too much. Does this…”

Lyman just smiles and nods.

Lyman: “It does and I’m back. I could’ve been back for a bit, but I was thinking I could be fine at ringside, but Kandis…she pushed and pushed and-“

Kandis: “So you goaded me!”

Kandis steps up and moves into the scene. Lyman turns.

Winters: “Kandis-“

Kandis: “Shut the hell up. This is between us. So this was just your grand return-“

Lyman: “You’re the one who went after me more than once.”

Kandis: “Third time’s the charm then.”

Kandis then rears back, and swings. Lyman blocks it and hooks her arm. The two end up face to face before a few crew members come on scene. They start to pull the two apart. Lyman lets go and backs up. The crew members stand in front of Kandis and start to move her back.

Kandis: “Won’t be protected forever!”

Lyman and Kandis continue to watch one another as we cut away.

The lights go out in the arena as Ducky’s giggles and laughter fill the air. The crowd’s cheers come alive as few groups begin to quack.
The speakers crackle before a woman’s voice washes over them.

“It’s my turn—
—do you see me now?”

Red strobe lights flicker and illuminate the  entrance way as smoke wraps around a woman’s flickering silhouette. On the tron above her in bold red font flashes:

{ { { PRO } } }

The crowd roars as “Bow Down” by I Prevail rips through the speakers.

“GET ON YOUR KNEES
AND
BOW
DOOOOOOWWNN”

Kinneck throws her head forward, stirring up the smoke as she whips her hair back and into a headbang before punching her fist into the air.

“YEEEAHHH!”

She burst through the smoke yelling the lyrics towards the crowd as she makes her way down the ramp in her tight black wrestling outfit. A few fans sharing their love for the song scream the lyrics back at her as if they were at a concert.

”Yeah, I come alive, I'll survive, take on anything
So paint a target on my back, let 'em come for me-”

She grazes past a few desperate hands reaching out for her at the bottom of the ramp before hopping onto the apron. She holds on to the top rope and leans out towards the crowd as she flips them off with a smirk. There’s an uproar from the crowd that makes her grin before sliding through the ropes.

Sharper: “Nicole Kinneck joining us. I don’t have anything planned here.”

Knots: “It’s Pro. I’m not getting in her way.”

Sharper: “Kinneck and The One teamed at Body, Heart, and Soul. Nicole hoped to win the titles to use as a way to ensure a match with the Farmstead Friends. That’s no longer going to be the case.”

Knots: “At least for Bear we know he’s not here. Cocaine Bear comes out today in theatres everywhere. The bear has to do his homework!”

”If you seek forgiveness
You'll get nothing, you'll get nothing from
ME”

Kinneck gets up and walks around the ring. She then suddenly becomes more aggressive and storms over to the corner and yells at Jason Phillips. Phillips walks over and hands her a microphone. Pro takes it and backs up. She then turns and looks out at the crowd. A faint “Bear!” chant breaks out as Kinneck glares at the crowd. She then ignores them and turns to the entrance way.

Kinneck: “Selena and Deanna….you couldn’t just get out of the way. But now instead of making sure I Get my match against that jackass Bear who broke Ducky’s heart…using the one thing their idiot manager would risk it all for…I now have to come out here…and demand match. That’s what Dillusion said.”

Kinneck walks around the ring a bit, almost in disbelief.

Kinneck: “I have to….ask for the match.”

Kinneck looks up at the camera.

Kinneck: “I have to ask for a match to get revenge for what that son of a bitch did to Ducky!”

The crowd roars.

Kinneck: “So…Retribution…I. Want. Bear!”

The crowd roars as Kinneck looks up at the entrance way. The faint “Bear!” chant returns as we then see on the big screen, Hairless Penguin appear, standing backstage.

Penguin: “Nicole!”

Kinneck snarls as she looks up the screen.

Penguin: “Look, it was all a mistake-“

Lexy Chapel then runs into the scene and steps in front of Penguin.

Chapel: “Penguin! Don’t worry. I got this!”

Chapel smiles.

Chapel: “You want to face Dancing Bear. Do you realize that you’re signing your death certificate?”

Penguin: “Wait, Lexy-“

Chapel: “Shhhh!”

Chapel turn back.

Chapel: “He’s right now becoming a better version of himself. Just like Penguin here is looking to become the World Champion he thinks he is in reality…Bear…I’m unleashing his potential. He’s training! He’s learning! He’s watching tape!”

Penguin: “He’s at the movie theatre watching Cocaine Bear. Wait…are you-“

Chapel: “Shhhh! Not on camera!”

Chapel turns to the camera as Penguin’s eyes widen.

Kinneck: “I want that son of a bitch in the ring!”

Chapel: “Well-“

Penguin then stops Lexy.

Penguin: “I can’t let you-“

Just then, we see Penguin pulled back as The One grabs him from behind, locking in a sleeper hold. The crowd roars as Lexy turns.

Chapel: “Help! HELP! My penguin is being attacked!”

Kinneck just smiles as The One pulls Penguin back and tries to pull him down to the floor. Penguin struggles, reaching up and around before Chapel runs over and tries to pull her off of him. Kinneck just watches, smiling, enjoying Penguin being choked out as Penguin struggles, tapping on The One’s arm.

Chapel: “Get off! Get off! Penguins need air!”

Sharper: “The One is trying to choke out Penguin! Pro is smiling! She’s loving this.”

Knots: “Bear! Get back from the movie! You’re needed!”

The One keeps pulling back before officials come to the scene and start to try and get her off. She finally lets go and Penguin rolls over, coughing. Chapel looks at The One as The One slowly gets up. Kinneck keeps watching, smiling as we cut away.

The scene opens up on a destroyed toaster. The camera pans up to show Kimberly Williams standing over it, and doing the sign of the cross before then moving into the Macarena. Angelica Jones walks over to her.

Jones: “Ki-“

Kimberly stops her.

Kim: “May you rest in toaster heaven, where you can frolic in the French toast fields and burn toast with impunity.”

Kim nods as she turns to Angelica Jones and smiles.

Kim: “Wassup mom?”

Jones: “Why did you go out there earlier?”

Kim: “I was board. And Oktoberfest brought a stick!”

Jones: “You put in your Trios contract.”

Kim sighs.

Kim: “Yeah, but they want me to wait. They have to make sure they can get it done.”

Jones: “They had to get waivers, didn’t they.”

Kim: “What fun would it be otherwise?! I mean they could just give me my rematch against Owen. I don’t trust him to screw it up.”

Jones: “That’s up to the Board.”

Kim: “And they’ve looooved me. Just because I’m different. Just because stapling is a hobby for me!”

Jones: “Just try to stay level. You took a fight to Owen Cruze. People noticed that-“

Kim: “Mom…I don’t care. I lost the Underground Championship. That’s all that matters to me. I screwed up.”

Kim then turns and looks at the toaster before walking off. Angelica watches her leave before the scene cuts to commercial.

Breakdown returns as we see Nicole Kinneck walking through the backstage area. She takes a few more steps before she turns down one direction and walks over to The One who is leaning against the wall. Nicole heads over to her.

Kinneck: “You didn’t have to-“

The One: “And you didn’t have to team with me. I may not have helped you win the titles. Frosts…just….”

Kinneck says nothing and just looks down, annoyed.

The One: “So the least I can do…is make sure you still get what you want.”

The One steps up to her and leans over.

The One: “You need something, just ask. Regardless of my success or failure, I owe you.”

The One heads off as Nicole Kinneck turns to The One and smirks.

Crystal Zdunich vs. Willow Aspen

The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal's voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.

"YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!"

As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros.

Phillips: “The following contest is schedule for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, she is the Burning Rose, Crystal Zdunich!”

Smile Bomb by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red haired "Burning Rose" Crystal Zdunich walks from the curtains. She makes her way to the ring. Crystal is focused as she walks to the ring with a purpose. She however slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way. She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside she kips up to her feet. She tosses her Shoto inspired hoodie out of the ring as she awaits the start of the match.

Sharper: “Zdunich driven tonight. Game to fight Willow Aspen after they got into it at Body, Heart, and Soul.”

Knots: “Aspen said she’d look for a fight then. She got it and SCW officials made this match tonight! We’re seeing some piss and vinegar from Crystal!”

THE WORLD

DOES NOT

BELONG TO YOU

IT BELONGS TO ME…

The chant plays out over the crowd, echoing as it leads around to the beginning guitar of “And So It Went” by The Pretty Reckless begins to play out. As the song kicks in, Willow Aspen steps out onto the stage clad in her ring-gear and what could only be described as a “Dragon-scale trenchcoat” overtop. She continues down the ramp, glancing out at the crowd around her as she strides.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from a Cabin in the Woods, she is Willow Aspen!”

Once in the ring, she poses in the middle of the ring before undoing her jacket, sliding it down her shoulders into her hands, handing it through the ropes to the ringside attendant. She begins pulling on the ropes in preparation of the match and Zdunich runs across and nails her with a hard right. The crowd roars as the bell sounds.

Sharper: “Aspen maybe getting a bit too comfortable. Zdunich picking up where they left off at Body, Heart, and Soul!”

Knots: “And Zdunich is bringing it!”

Zdunich nails Aspen again and again. Aspen ends up in the corner as Zdunich kicks her in the ribs over and over and over again. Aspen slides down a bit as Zdunich then starts to choke Aspen with her boot.

Zdunich climbs up to the middle rope and then the top rope and nails Aspen with a hard right and then another before Aspen nails her in the ribs and then hits an uppercut. Zdunich falls back, but rolls through. She gets up to her feet and Aspen steps up and hits the Death From Above. The crowd ohs. Zdunich rolls over as Aspen gets up and looks at her before stepping over and grabbing Zdunich’s right arm and then wrapping her legs around Zdunich’s head. She then locks in the Last Resort. Zdunich struggles as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “And there’s that choke. The Last Resort!”

Zdunich struggles for a few moments longer before then starting to tap out. The official calls for the bell. The bell sounds. Aspen lets go of the hold. Zdunich rolls over, coughing.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via submission, Willow Aspen!”

The crowd roars a bit as Aspen slowly gets up. She looks at Zduncih before having her arm raised by the official. Aspen then looks around the arena, soaking it in for a few moments longer. She then steps through the ropes to the floor.

Sharper: “Another impressive win against Aspen. Zdunich as motivated as we’ve seen her, and yet, Aspen handled it.”

Knots: “Aspen putting everyone on notice.”

Aspen starts to walk around the ring before going to the entrance way. She starts to head to the back.

Breakdown opens backstage as a limousine pulls up to the arena. The limousine comes to a stop. The chauffeur gets out and walks around the limousine and goes to the back door. He opens it and Mr. D steps out from the limousine. The crowd roars. He then nods to the chauffeur before heading toward the building.

Sharper: “The founder is here. Mr. D arriving. A bit late tonight. I’m curious as to why though.”

Sharper: “Television Championship on the line. Will Glory Braddock win the title for the first time or will Amelia Blythe retain in her first defense? We’ll find out, next!”

The scene fades to black.

The Retribution logo comes up again before a still of Light in the Darkness comes up and then a shot of House of Frost before showing both.

Glory Braddock vs. Amelia Blythe

SCW Television Championship

The first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system...

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, the challenger, from London, England, she is The British Bombshell, Glory Braddock!”

Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.

I come alive at the second of midnight
So I can fly when the world is asleep
You scream and howl as I'm taking the first bite
Blood on my tongue tastes of eternity

People will come and go
Some stories never told
They bury me down below
But I'll never die
'Cause I'm immortal
Yes, immortal

The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring.  Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly...

Sharper: “Glory Braddock in the midst of an attitude shift. Focusing on herself in the ring. Amelia Stone gone. Amelia Blythe awaits her tonight. She wants to become TV Champion. She wants to become a Supreme Champion.”

Knots: “And she’s moving right into a TV title shot. Amelia Blythe better be ready. This will be a huge challenge for her.”

“No. 14 Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Blythe makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. The SCW Television Championship sits over her shoulder. After a moment of this, the Beethoven piece begins to fade and seamlessly transitions into “Victorious” by Skillet, and as it does La Pequeña Luz skips out from behind Amelia and stands beside her, giving her a pep talk before planting a quick kiss on her cheek which brings a smile to Amelia’s face. The two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia’s look growing more determined and battle-ready as Luz continues her pep talk.

Phillips: “Her opponent, accompanied by La Pequena Luz, from Oxford, England, the SCW Television Champion, Amelia Blythe!”

Once they reach ringside, Amelia pulls Luz into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and mask and handing them off to Luz on the outside, Luz taking the opportunity to give some last minute advice and encouragement. The official, Steve Hollinsworth takes the TV Championship, raising it over his head. The SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen, fading to the bottom corner.

Sharper: “Amelia Blythe about to make her first defense. Light in the Darkness has quickly reminded themselves why they were courted by SCW. La Pequena Luz getting the fall in the historic twelve person tag match at Body, Heart and Soul. Blythe now TV Champion. And at Retribution, they’ll challenge for the SCW World Tag Team Championship.”

Knots: “Yeah, but until then, she needs to focus on Glory. That’s probably what Luz is reminding her. Stay on this week. Not next week. Tonight.”

Blythe and Braddock look at one another as the bell sounds. Blythe and Braddock then circle the ring as the crowd cheers. The two then move toward one another and lock up in the middle of the ring with a collar and elbow tie-up. They push back on one another and Blythe moves into an arm wrench. She holds up the arm as Braddock winces a bit. Blythe keeps control, the two circling before Braddock somersaults forward, then rolls back before hitting a second somersault for momentum and spins on her back, leading Blythe to lose her grip. Braddock then turns and grabs Blythe’s arm and wrenches it.

Sharper: “A great move. And we saw a taste of this at Body, Heart and Soul. Both British trained. And you’re seeing that influence here.”

Knots: “So we’re going to see a lot of holds.”

Sharper: “We’re going to see something we don’t see a whole lot here in SCW.”

Blythe winces as she rolls forward and then ducks under the arm of Braddock and grabs Braddock’s arm and wrenches it, flipping Braddock to the mat. Blythe holds on as Braddock winces. The official checks for a pin before Braddock nips up and ducks under, countering the wrench and taking it over on Blythe. Blythe ducks under and she gets the advantage, only for Blythe to flip Braddock forward, but she flips through. She then steps up and turns and Blythe hits a single leg takedown before grabbing the arm again. She turns it over to Braddock’s chest. Braddock turns with it and starts to get up. Braddock holds on and Braddock somersaults forward before rolling back and then cartwheeling out. Blythe turns and Braddock hits a side headlock takedown.

Mr. D is backstage, walking over to a crew member, before we see Jaina Lancaster heading over him.

Jaina: “Mr. D…do you mind if I get a word?”

Mr. D: “Actually…you know what. I’m fine. Sure.”

Jaina: “Just curious why you’re here and also if you’ve been following the show.”

Mr. D: “Well I can the second easily. I have been watching and in fact, I should share this as it’s important. Kandis going around attacking Simon Lyman. The Board will look into the feasibility of the match, but for the time being, Kandis and Simon Lyman are to keep away from one another. Any physicality and the match consideration stops dead. We’re not going to see a repeat of what Kandis and Asher were doing last month.”

Mr. D pauses.

Mr. D: “As for why I’m here…don’t worry about it.”

Mr. D then turns and walks over to the crew member.

Mr. D: “Excuse me…can you help me get to the corporate boxes?”

Jaina looks a bit confused as the crew member leads Mr. D off.

The opening rifts to The Black Adam Theme kick in, as mist fills the entranceway. The music stops, a huge explosion rocks the entranceway and Owen jumps, seemingly through the floor and landing on his feet, dropping to one knee and punching the floor. Owen gets to his feet, and looks left and right at the reaction he is getting, a look of focus and determination on his face as he takes in the crowd. The SCW World and Underground Championships sits over his shoulder.

Sharper: “And there is your World Champion and new SCW Underground Champion, Owen Cruze!”

Knots: “Yeah and he’s going to have a long month. He’s already got Josh Hudson gunning for a rematch. Adam Allocco has his at Retribution. Kim Williams will want her title back.”

Sharper: “And Owen Cruze plans to stand up to it all.”

With real intensity, he begins the walk down to the ring, slapping the hand of anyone who offers, a laser show accompanying him all the way to the bottom of the ramp before he walks up the steel steps and onto the apron. He then steps over to the ropes, entering before standing in the middle of the ring his arms outstretched, beams of light focussing now on only him. He then looks around as he walks over to the corner and is handed a microphone. He takes it and walks back over to the middle of the ring. His music fades out as the crowd roars.

Cruze: “Well looks like I’ve gotten ten pounds heavier.”

The crowd cheers as some boo. Cruze looks around.

Cruze: “I went through a war at Body, Heart, and Soul.”

Owen pauses briefly.

Cruze: “I faced someone who told me she was serious. I gave her the match in her strength. And after we put each other through hell, I now am a double champion, holding the SCW World Championship and the Underground Championship. And Kim…don’t worry, I heard your message. I have no plans to eff it up. As odd as this may sound, I respect you Kim.”

The crowd cheers a bit as Cruze looks around.

Cruze: “And I’ll be defending both of these titles. I’m not going to vacate the Underground Championship. I’m going to be a fighting champion for both titles. But while that’s the case, don’t read into the fact that I’m going to be focusing on the World Title tonight….because I already know who is standing across from me, right Adam?”

The crowd roars as Cruze looks at the main camera.

Cruze: “Adam Allocco, cashing in the Trios Tournament, and he’s got me. One on one. Adam Allocco and Owen Cruze one more time. And I know we’re going to hear it. Adam won against me one on one on Breakdown back in October. I won at Under Attack. I’m standing here champion, and he’s going to fix that. Well, Adam, we’ll-“

“Duality” by Slipknot then suddenly plays, interrupting the World and Underground Champion. Owen stops and turns as Josh Hudson walks out from the back, brandishing his United States Championship. He looks down at the ring, microphone in his hand. Owen Cruze just turns to the stage. Hudson looks around the arena and then to the ring.

Hudson: “Oh Owen, I don’t really give a damn about Adam. Because Owen, we already have an agreement. See, you just said it, fighting champion.”

Cruze: “Yeah, yeah…I owe you another fight. I know that.”

Hudson: “Oh no, we owe each other fight at the highest level. I mean we’ve already got the feud of the year and the world commemorated me submitting your ass at Rise to Greatness at End of the Year. Now it’s time for me to take my spot back at the top-“

Cruze: “And I said I’d give you the match if SCW made it. I’m not standing in the way. You want me, I want to face you. I’ll give you another match Josh!”

We then see Adam Allocco walking out from the back, microphone in his hand.

Hudson: “Well, this seems pretty straig-“

Allocco steps in front of Hudson and stops him.

Allocco: “Whoa, easy there Josh. Nice of you to blabber on here, but Josh, he’s talking about me. I know, I know. It’s hard to let go. You were his bestie and all last year, but he’s got a new rival, and it’s me, and I’m more attractive, a better wrestler, and well, important now. Time for you to go to the back. Go to bed, you’re getting old.”

Hudson: “I’m two months younger than you.”

Allocco: “Really? Huh. Never would’ve guessed given I’m having a career renaissance and you’re still failing to understand how things are run here in SCW.”

Allocco turns to Owen.

Allocco: “Now, Owen, you at least realize I should be who gets your attention.”

Hudson just looks at Allocco, glaring at him.

Allocco: “But while Josh here is picking fights, you can have all of the losses to Josh pile up after we face at Retribution. Josh…”

Allocco turns to Hudson.

Allocco: “You can kick his ass all you want after Retribution. I won’t stand in the way, but right now, this is my moment to get back what was mine.”

Allocco turns back to Owen as Josh looks at Owen. Hudson then turns and heads to the back slowly.

Allocco: “Because I was the man who had the story of 2022. And it was derailed for reasons no one needs to worry about. All that we need to worry about is you and I facing at Retribution for the SCW World Championship. No need to go into the barbarics of what you did with Kim, not kink-shaming or anything, but I’m just going to straight up beat you and become World Champion again in the Match of 2023, the end of the rivalry of 2022 and 2023, where I finally end your time at the top and your redemption story.”

Cruze: “Well isn’t that wonderful Allocco. You have it all figured out. You didn’t waste any time after I beat Xander in trying to get back in line, back to face me. You even used your Trios. Putting all of your eggs in one basket. It’s nice. And yeah, you got it done at Rise to Greatness. I can respect that, but Adam, you fell into the problem I ran into. Lost it on the first defense. And yes, to Xander. The man I beat to stand here.”

Allocco: “Yeah, thanks for that. You ended the BS of BS. And as a thank you, I’ll let you be the footnote in the corrective of my golden age!”

Cruze smirks.

Cruze: “Think that all you want, Adam. But I’m not here to be a footnote. I’m here to be World Champion. So step up on Adam…but I hope your past won’t bite you in the ass.”

Allocco: “Don’t worry, Owen. A better redemption story is here to take the sheen of yours…while the only past I care about is the one where I kicked your ass because this time, I’m taking the World Title at Retribution and we can celebrate my forty-sixth birthday, which is March 2, by the way, not by drinking all night with beautiful women, but by people, falling to their knees, thrilled in adulation as the Renaissance Man, the King of HARDStyle is back where he belongs!”

Allocco poses as the crowd boos. His music plays as Owen Cruze mockingly claps.

Sharper: “Allocco has his material going and he’s as confident as ever.”

Knots: “Of course – he’s calling his shot.”

Sharper: “We need to remember though, he’s only a couple of weeks removed from falling to Xander Valentine in tag action at Body, Heart and Soul. An convenient oversight for the champion!”

Allocco stops his posing and smirks as he starts to back up. Cruze watches him as we cut away.

COMMERCIALS

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as “The Old Me” plays throughout the arena. A still for Owen Cruze vs. Alexis Quinne comes up on the screen with the SCW Underground Championship.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. We can let you know that things are going to be wild next week. Owen Cruze will make his first defense of the SCW Underground Championship.”

Knots: “And against a very motivated Alexis Quinne. Quinne just beat the Hairless Penguin. She wants gold in 2023. And she may have her shot!”

Sharper: “We’ll also see the Frosts here. Syren will be in action and so much more. Big night next week on Breakdown!”

Backstage, Chance Owens stands with Jaina Lancaster.

Jaina: “I’m here with Chance Owens and Chance, you gave it a strong showing, but fell short against Josh Hudson at Body, Heart, and Soul. You’re still early in your young career. You’ve had some close calls for titles, but it’s not come yet.”

Owens sighs.

Owens: “No…it hasn’t. And I get it, Josh Hudson is a hall of famer. But after Trios, then this…to hear what he and others were saying and…I was hoping I’d be able to get the job done. Shock the world. Put some respect on my name and…”

Owen sighs.

Owens: “It’s tough. Just tough-“

Owens looks up as Kelsai Adamson walks over to him and hands him a note. Owens looks a bit confused before taking it. Kelsai then nods at Jaina before walking off. Owens looks at the note and unfolds it.

Owens: “Get back up.”

Owens nods and looks at Kelsai. He nods again as he walks off.

Asher Hayes vs. Konrad Raab

“Violence Fetish” by Disturbed plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace in the air, wearing red and black face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands before he crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “From Cologne, Germany, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos before Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes. As he's in the ring, Konrad without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, with ring staff taking Konrad's flanged German mace away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head.

The opening riff to "Smooth Sailing" by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 11 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a long leather jacket and sunglasses. Around his neck, a necklace made of garlic. In his hands, a Bible and a crucifx.

“It's all in motion, no stoppin' it now
I got nothing to lose and only one way up
I'm burning bridges, I destroy the mirage
All visions of collisions, fucking bon voyage"

He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rain down upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both fists into the air along with the Bible and crucifix, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.

“I got bruises and hickies, stitches and scars
Got my own theme music, plays wherever I are
Fear is the hand that pulls your strings
A useless toy, pitiful plaything
I'm in flagrante
In every way
Every day"

He stands, once again, on the top rope. He tosses his shades out to the crowd, as he looks toward the ceiling, before dropping down, removing his jacket and handing it to the ref.

"It's all smooth sailing
From here on out
I'm gon' do the damage
That needs getting done"

Asher then leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin, clutching the Bible and crucifix, while also taking the time to adjust his garlicy bling-bling.

Phillips: “And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois…he is…Asher! Hayes!”

The ref walks over to Asher and seems to be telling him to get rid of the Bible and crucifix. Asher shakes his head no, pointing at Raab.

Sharper: “What in the hell is Asher doing?”

Knots: “I’d say it has something to do with Raab saying that he’s a lone vampire.”

Sharper: “Oh for crying out loud.”

Knots: “You can never be too careful, Adam.”

The ref can still be seen talking to Asher, who pushes him out of the way as Raab is shown charging. Raab takes Asher down with a shoulder tackle. Asher rolls away as the ref calls for the bell, signaling the start of the match. Asher holds up the crucifix, trying to keep Raab back, but Raab reaches down and grabs Asher up from the mat. Once again, Asher shoves the crucifix in Raab’s face, but Raab swats it away.

Knots: “Asher may be in trouble here.”

Sharper: “You didn’t seem to care about his well-being at Body, Heart, and Soul.”

Knots: “This is different. He could be in the ring with a legit vampire.”

Asher fires away with a right hand then a backhand chop before Raab grabs him and slings him across the ring. Asher scrambles back to his original corner, grabbing the Bible and holding it up.

Asher: “THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!!!”

Knots: “I believe Asher has his movie monsters confused.”

Raab kicks the Bible out of Asher’s hand and out of the ring, before he proceeds to stomp on Asher, as the crowd boos.

Sharper: “I want to issue an open apology to any… “What is Raab doing? Is he trying to bite Asher?”

The cameras show Raab pressing Asher into the corner. His jaws snapping towards Asher’s neck.

Sharper: “I can’t believe what we’re seeing here, folks. Raab returned earlier tonight, and he was hellbent on revenge against Dampshaw, and now he’s trying to tear into Asher’s throat here. The man is clearly deranged.”

Knots: “I believe it’s safe to say that the undead walk amongst us.”

Sharper: “Now, I wouldn’t go that far.”

Asher manages to push Raab back before stepping forward and hitting a forearm, followed by a second, and a third. Asher backs into the ropes and bounces off, only for Raab to grab him and take him down with a sidewalk slam. Raab gets up and goes to drop an elbow, but Asher rolls out of the way.

Asher gets to his feet as does Raab. Asher charges towards the ropes with Raab in tow. Asher leaps onto the second rope, spring boarding off and catching Raab with a stunner. The crowd cheers. Asher gets back up and jumps off the second rope once more, this time going for the Ash-sault. The crowd cheers more as he goes for the cover.

Sharper: “Asher building some momentum, going for the cover…”

2.

Raab powers out. Asher gets to his feet and pulls Raab up only for Raab to connect with a European uppercut. Asher staggers and Raab grabs him by the throat and hitting a chokeslam. Asher rolls on the mat and Raab begins to stomp on him, before driving his elbow into the center of Asher’s back. Asher is shown writhing in pain a bit.

Knots: “Raab going for Asher’s back. He probably thinks he’ll have a better chance at draining Asher’s blood if the man is practically paralyzed, if not all the way.”

Raab gets up and stomps Asher in the center of his back once again, before Raab grabs Asher, pulling him up, only to send him back to the mat with a release German suplex. Raab gets up and goes to grab Asher, but Asher kicks him in the face. Raab staggers back as Asher gets to his feet, using the ropes. Asher charges only for Raab to catch him with a powerslam. Raab goes for the cover.

2.

Asher kicks out and the crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Asher still in this fight.”

Raab pulls Asher up and whips him into the corner. Raab charges, going for a running clothesline, but Asher manages to get a boot up. Raab stumbles back, holding his face as Asher hopes onto the top rope. Raab turns just as Asher leaps, taking Raab down with a flipping neckbreaker. Raab rolls over holding his head before using the ropes to get to his feet. Asher runs and leaps into the air. Raab catches Asher, but the momentum causes them to spin, and Asher takes Raab down with a tornado DDT. Raab hits the mat and bounces back up, staggering. Asher grabs and hooks Raab for taking him back do the mat with a double knee back-breaker. Asher then hooks the leg.

2.

Raab kicks out!

Knots: “The undead kicking out before the three!”

Asher gets up and runs to the ropes, and leaps off them, going for another Ash-sault, but Raab gets his knees up. The crowd ‘Oh’s’ as Asher falls to the mat. Raab gets to his knee and drives his fists into the mat before getting to his feet. He stomps on Asher a little bit, before reaching down and pulling Asher up. Raab clubs Asher with forearms before hooking him and lifting Asher up before slamming him back down to the mat with a powerbomb. Raab goes for a cover of his own.

2.

Asher shoots the shoulder up! Raab jaws with the referee before pulling Asher up once again. Raab whips Asher into the corner and follows up with a running clothesline. Asher stumbles out of the corner as Raab runs and bounces off the ropes. Raab goes for a running boot, but Asher manages to dunk under, before bouncing off the ropes himself. Raab turns and Asher connects with a spear. Asher then pulls Raab to his feet, hooks Raab and lifts him up, before dropping him with Crash Course. The crowd erupts as Asher hooks the leg.

3!!!!

“Smooth Sailing” hits as Asher sits up on his knees. He looks at Raab who is shown slowly rolling away. The crowd cheers as Asher gets to his feet and the ref lifts his hand up in victory.

Sharper: “Asher hitting the move he calls Crash Course. We’ve not seen him hit use it much, but he did tonight and it was enough to put Raab down for the count.”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall…Asher! Hayes!”

Asher is shown standing on the top rope, pointing out to the cheering crowd. Cameras show Raab gathering himself on the outside, before showing Asher once again and cutting away.

Breakdown cuts to show Mr. D talking to Blake Mason in his corporate box. Blake seems to be doing a significant amount of talking.

Sharper: “Blake Mason seems to be having a meeting with Mr. D. Maybe he is returning-“

Knots: “Wait…look at Jenni Anderson!”

Jenni Anderson looks over from the corporate box, having seen this on the television in the box. She turns and starts to yell over at Blake’s box. Mr. D looks up as Blake listens for a moment. He then gets up and walks over before motioning to Mr. D. The two get up. Jenni then stands up and keeps yelling. She then starts to walk back into her suite before exiting.

Sharper: “Looks like whatever is happening there. Jenni Anderson isn’t happy.”

Knots: “What is going on there?”

The scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns as we see Owen Cruze backstage in his locker room, talking to Jamison Logan, before the door opens. Xander Valentine walks into the room. He then walks forward and over to Owen. Jamison backs up and looks up. Owen turns. Xander just looks at Owen.

Cruze: “Xander.”

Valentine: “Cruze…”

Cruze: “What do you want?”

Valentine: “So you have Allocco at Retribution. You know what he’s going to try to do. And you know part of what I’m here to say-“

Cruze: “You don’t need to worry. I don’t plan to lose this title and frankly, if I somehow do, I don’t want him to have more in his quiver given how much he loves to needle my family. You don’t need to warn me or anything-“

Valentine: “I’m not warning you. I’m telling you. He deserves karma destroying him.”

Cruze: “What do you have against him? You’ve never said.”

Valentine sighs and looks down. He then stops before reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a smart phone. Cruze looks a bit confused.

Valentine: “What’s your number?”

Cruze: “I’m not just going to casually hang out with you, Xander-“

Valentine: “You want to know. Just give me it.”

Cruze sighs.

Cruze: “Give me your phone.”

Xander hands it to him. Cruze takes it and we hear the tapping on the touchscreen. A few moments pass and Cruze hands it back. Xander then looks at it.

Xander: “Check it in a few minutes. Be sitting down when you watch. Then you’ll understand.”

Xander turns and walks off as Cruze looks confused. He then turns as Jamison Logan walks back over.

Logan: “Do you really want to watch any video from him?”

Cruze: “I don’t know if I’ll have a choice.”

Cruze then hears a chirp from his phone. Cruze turns and grabs his phone from his back and looks at it.

Cruze: “If you don’t mind.”

Cruze turns and heads off.

We cut to another part of the building to see Syren walking through the backstage area in the Paycom Center. Syren takes a deep breath as she walks over to one door and knocks on it. A few moments pass before the door opens and Artemis sticks her head out.

Artemis: “You. Go away-“

She goes to slam the door shut, but Syren thrusts her arms into the door, stopping it.

Syren: “I’m here to talk to Xander.”

Artemis: “He’s not here right now.”

Syren: “Then I’ll talk to you.”

Artemis stops and looks at her.

Syren: “You have some relationship with him. You know the last few weeks-“

Artemis: “Stop.”

Artemis opens the door and steps forward. Syren steps back, giving her space.

Artemis: “I don’t give a damn. And Xander doesn’t either. You don’t realize what you’ve done. You had one chance with him. When Ravyn had him around that ringpost, you made a choice. You could’ve saved him or you helped your wife. Your indecision helped your wife. And he went into Body, Heart and Soul weakened against a man who frankly deserves the absolute worst to him. And that’s on you.”

Syren: “You seem to not realize the importance of my relationship-“

Artemis: “One of manipulation? People thought Xander was manipulating me. Not at all. And I’m not going to just let you convince him you respect him. You don’t. You respect the fight. You called him out. You have him at Retribution. Your funeral, Syren.”

Syren: “I wasn’t going to just attack my wife.”

Artemis: “So wasn’t indecision. It was intentional. Perfect.”

Artemis backs up.

Artemis: “Miss I want to be the best. Miss Hall of Famer. Miss I want Mr. D to put a title around my waist.”

Syren: “I’ve moved on.”

Artemis: “Yeah, because Xander got it and you realized too late that sometimes things don’t work out. Well, Syren, Xander realized on Breakdown…he’ll stop Allocco found taking you out. But with Ravyn, you’re on your own. And for someone who wanted to say she was long past Infamous…”

Artemis looks down and then up, locking eyes with Syren.

Artemis: “Xander’s made tougher decisions than you’ve had to. Same with me. You…you just turned and left a locker room. But you’re still that person. A fraud. And Xander hates frauds.”

Artemis turns to the door.

Artemis: “Get ready for Retribution. You wanted the match. You’re getting it. Just don’t kid yourself by saying you respect him. You don’t.”

Artemis turns and slams the door in Syren’s face. Syren looks at the door and turns. She then stops and looks out and sighs.

Syren: “Don’t say a damn thing.”

The camera turns to show Ravyn Taylor leaning against the wall.

Ravyn: “My offer is still on the table.”

Syren: “I don’t need you or Infamous here.”

Ravyn shrugs as Syren walks off. The crowd buzzes.

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as “The Old Me” plays throughout the arena. A still for Polly Playtime vs. Bree Lancaster for the SCW Adrenaline Championship follows.

Sharper: “Syren finding out the consequences of her actions. But tonight, Adrenaline Title on the line. Our main event – Polly Playtime challenges Bree Lancaster, next!”

The scene fades to black.

Polly Playtime vs. Bree Lancaster

SCW Adrenaline Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall for TV time remaining and is for the SCW Adrenaline Championship!”

The SCW Adrenaline Championship logo comes across the screen. A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on SCW’s Jumbotron.  A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play.

The music plays for quite some time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Polly emerges from the backstage area wearing a frilly pink skirt and a very cute and fashionable strapless crop top that has black paw prints on it. She is carrying a personally made microphone, clearly wanting to make the world wait to see her. Colleen and Aisling walk out with her. The crowd boos as Polly arrives down at the ringside area. She walks up the steel steps and into the ring. She hands over her personalized microphone to Jason Phillips and tells him to announce her using ONLY that microphone. He looks at her and just shrugs before taking it.

Jason Phillips: “Here she is ladies and gentlemen. Accompanied by the Playgirls, from Panguitch, Utah, she is the girl that just LOVES to play… Polly Playtiiiiime!”

She immediately snatches her microphone back away from him and nods, telling him “Good job”, before she heads to her assigned corner where the Playgirls join her. It’s here that she begins to warm up for the upcoming matchup.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime is hoping tonight she’ll get over her loss of the SCW Adrenaline Championship by winning the Adrenaline Championship tonight.”

Knots: “She’ll get over her loss of the Adrenaline Title by winning it back. That’s amazing as she’s not won it before.”

Sharper: “Television Championship. Misspoke. But Polly Playtime looking to add more gold to her record. Here in our main event against Bree Lancaster.”

The lights dim slightly as a male voice speaks:

“When's the last time you were afraid?”
“I haven't been afraid a day in my life.”

The music and chorus of Shinedown's “Dead Don't Die” kicks in, with white strobe lights flashing in time. Bree Lancaster runs out from the curtain, arms spread wide, hands facing up, and a smile on her face. The SCW Adrenaline Championship around her waist. Datura walks out with her.

Phillips: “Her opponent, accompanied by Datura, from New Orleans, Louisiana, she is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, Bree Lancaster!”

{The dead don't die, the heart still beats
Head held high, I haunt these streets
Life's killed me a hundred thousand times
You can try, you can try, but the dead don't die}

Bree makes her way down the ramp, confidence in her step as she speaks to a fan or two on the way. Datura walks with her.

{Knock me down six feet deep
One more round, no reprieve
Life's killed me a hundred thousand times
You can try, you can try, but the dead don't die}

Bree sprints up the ring steps, quickly wipes her feet on the apron then steps through the ropes. She does a spin in the center of the ring, arms spread out like before, drawing cheers. She then heads to her corner as the music fades and the lights return to normal. She takes off her title and hands it to Aaron Demitra, the official. Datura and Bree talk as Demitra holds the title over his head. He then turns and hands it off to Phillips.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster and Datura have their sights on the tag division. Tonight, singles action for Bree as she defends her title.”

Knots: “Playgirls may be scouting here too. They have similar hopes.”

Sharper: “Tonight, though, the focus on the SCW Adrenaline Championship. Title on the line!”

The bell sounds. Polly smirks and leans back a bit. She then runs at Bree as Bree steps up and Polly jumps up and nails Bree with a forearm shot. She nails her with another. Bree staggers back as Polly nails her again. She then grabs her and goes to whip her into the ropes. Bree bounces off and Polly goes for a grab, but Bree slides under her arms. She gets up and grabs Polly from behind and moves into a side headlock. She then takes her over. Bree rolls through. Polly rolls over and gets up and Bree kicks her in the ribs. She then forearms her in the jaw.

Sharper: “And we’re going fast and furious in this one. Polly hoping to catch Bree off guard but the champion fighting back.”

Knots: “And throwing some shots at Polly!”

Bree kicks Polly in the ribs. She whips Polly across the ring. Bree jogs after but Polly flips up and over to the apron. Bree turns and goes to nail her, but Polly blocks it and forearms Bree before grabbing her arm. Polly then runs up the corner and to the top rope and flips forward into an arm drag takedown. Bree rolls through. She gets up and turns to Polly who jumps up and hits a dropkick. The crowd roars. Polly goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Bree kicks out. She rolls over and gets up. Polly gets up and goes for a stomp to Bree. Bree rolls out of the way. Polly attempts another stomp, stepping over Bree. Bree rolls between Polly’s legs and then rolls up and pulls Polly down into a sunset flip pin.

1!

2!

Polly kicks out. Both roll back.

Sharper: “And pace quickening here. Bree with a nice pin attempt. Only two.”

Knots: “While Polly was hoping to knock out Bree fast.”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and still SCW Adrenaline Champion, Bree Lancaster!”

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster retains. The Rectifier gets her the win!”

Knots: “She got a hell of a challenge though tonight!”

Datura enters the ring as Bree slowly gets up. Datura helps her up as the official hands her the Adrenaline Championship. Bree takes it and raises it over her head. Colleen and Aisling pull Playtime out of the ring. Bree celebrates as Datura turns and then rolls to the floor. She storms over to the entrance way where James Evans, who had seemingly come out from the back, stands.

Sharper: “Bree successful and celebrating! Datura just noticed – James Evans is at ringside!”

Knots: “I didn’t see him come down here!”

James Evans looks at Datura, saying nothing. Datura then looks at him before berating him.

Datura: “You want to attack me? Attack her? Oh wait…you don’t do that. You just act self-righteous, huh?”

Datura pokes him in the chest. James just looks down as Datura gets in his face.

Datura: “Get out of here. This is her moment-“

Just then, two men step out behind James. Both are in all black. James Evans glances at them before one grabs Datura’s arm. Datura looks around and the other helps the first restrain Datura. Bree turns and heads over to the ropes and drops down to the floor. They restrain Datura and tie her arms behind her with zip-ties.

Sharper: “Who the hell are these people? They’re restrained Datura!”

Knots: “And Bree’s noticed!”

Datura keeps fighting as James Evans then pats one of the men on the shoulder. They stop as Datura steps forward and turns, before Bree helps her remain on her feet. Datura turns to James annoyed and upset. James turns and heads to the back. The two men obstruct Datura as she heads forward to go after James. James just continues to walk to the back as the scene fades to black…
