are shown. This is followed with a shot of Regan Street dropping Rachel Foxx
with the Catnap inside Tactical Warfare before showing Jake Starr hitting the
shooting five star frog splash from the top of a cage onto Silas Mason before
the SCW Breakdown logo comes back up on the screen.
The scene cuts to the inside
of the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Pyro shoots from both ends of the
stage and towards the middle before back out to the outside and then all across
the stage. Spotlights circle around the arena as the camera pan throughout the
arena, showing the many fans who have filed into the arena standing and
cheering, waving banners, signs, t-shirt and whatever else they have. The
cameras pan for a few moments before cutting to ringside to show Adam Sharper and
Shawn Winters at the announce table.
Sharper: “Welcome everyone
here to Denver, Colorado for Breakdown. Adam Sharper here
with Shawn Winters. Last Saturday, the 2015 Trios Tournament took place
and the world is still stunned as Trinity Street, Lucas Knight and CHBK were
the winners.”
Winters: “And they hold a lot
of power. A lot of people not exactly pleased, but it’s a reality and you have
to wonder what all three have planned for those
contract.s”
Sharper: “Not just that, but
we expect to hear some comments from many in the tournament tonight, but that’s
not all. Katie Steward will be in action when she faces off against Chris
Cannon.”
Winters: “Yeah and with Silas
Mason most likely in the corner.”
"Criticize” by Adelita’s Way plays throughout the arena as Kennedy Street
slowly comes out from the back. She stands in the entrance way, looking down,
then up and out into the arena. Kennedy cracks a sexy smirk. She raises her
right arm in the air looking up into the rafters as the shower of fireworks
rain down behind her. Carlos quickly comes out and begins to drop rose petals
on the ground Kennedy walks on while the monstrous Maximilian follows behind.
The crowd boos as she looks over to the fans and smirks, interacting with them,
posing along the way to entice them a bit by blowing kisses and shaking her
ass. As she arrives at the apron, Maximilian lifts her up on the apron, Carlos
rolls in and continues to throw rose petals on the ground Keenie walks on as
she steps through the ropes stopping for a second and looks out biting the
bottom of her lip and stroking the ropes as she gets into the ring taking her
time. She walks to the ropes and climbs to the second turnbuckle and looks
around smiling while posing for the flash photography.
Sharper: “There you see the
number one contender, Kennedy Street and just four nights ago, she came out
here and ran down Syren and continues to pump herself up for her big World
Championship opportunity at Retribution in eleven days.”
Winters: “You gotta be pumped
up and trust me, I’m pretty sure Kennedy will have plenty to help her then. But
the big question may be what might happen with the Trios Tournament contracts.
Trinity Street has one!”
Kennedy jumps down smiling to the crowd and waves her hair to the side as she
stands in the corner. Carlos walks over to her and hands her in the microphone.
Kennedy just smiles as she then steps forward and to the middle of the ring.
She looks around as the crowd boos her. Her music fades out. Maximilian and
Carlos stand behind her as she looks out at the crowd.
Kennedy: “We are eleven days
before all of you can finally bask in what is the most deserved World
Championship reign in SCW history!”
The crowd boos.
Kennedy: “Syren knew she
couldn’t stop me. She can’t even stop me from talking. You all saw the fear in
her eyes when she realized that there is no way she is going to get in my way
and keep her ass holding MY title. See found that out last week when Maximilian
here introduced himself and showed why I am going to be unstoppable. Tonight,
Alex Young, oh yes…he is going to show Syren that her time is slowly coming to
an end. It was great. She had a record-setting World Championship reign. She
keeps breaking those old records, but now it’s time for someone deserving of historic
recognition to take over and carry the torch to levels it’s never been. And
that’s me, Syren. You can sit there and talk about how I was given this shot.
You can talk about how I don’t deserve it, but you know that’s a lie and that
you’re scared. You’re scared because not only do I remind you of you when you
came in, but I’ve far surpassed you already and I didn’t even need to waste my
time with the Women’s Championship. I went right to the top.”
Kennedy pauses and looks into
the main camera.
Kennedy: “See, I’m the one
that everyone is tuning into. I’m the must-see star in this company. I will be
its World Champion and there’s nothing YOU can do to stop me Syren.”
Kennedy pauses again before
shaking her head.
Kennedy: “But Regan sure is
trying.”
Kennedy laughs a bit.
Kennedy: “She’s already beaten
you Syren to start off the year, which tells you even more why I’m so confident
against you. But not just that, she’s showing that she can’t handle the
pressure of not screwing up. You had one job Regan….You just had to finally
undo another hold over from your pathetic last year and you just had to win the
Trios Tournament. You even had a team to be proud of with a former World
Champion and Syren’s wife! Two champions! And you let HER…you let TRINITY win
and get a Trios Tournament contract? You let HER not just beat you…not just
humiliate her…but you’ve given her a chance to rob these people from what they
demand...Keenie as champion!”
The crowd boos as Kennedy
looks around.
Keenie: “So Regan, I know
you’re here. You’re probably dying your hair black, thinking of joining Death
Cab for Cutie and probably talking about how life sucks, as you’re going to
become an emo, but Regan…If Trinity screws up Retribution for Keenie, your
failure, yet again, will be the worst of your problems. No, I just hope you
disappear for ever. Go cry and sulk about how much you suck. Go watch a real
Street and the most talented one rise up over all of this…and-“
Maximilian then leans over and
stops Kennedy, saying something to her. Kennedy then smiles
and nods.
Kennedy: “You know…maybe I
hope Trinity is stupid enough to try and stop me…Maximilian will be happy to
say hi to you again and end your pathetic career too!”
Kennedy looks around.
Kennedy: “This is MY time to
take what I deserve…no….not Syren, not Regan, and definitely not Trinity…I will
be champion.”
The crowd boos as “Criticize”
starts to play. Kennedy Street brings her arm down and the crowd continues to
boo.
Sharper: “Kennedy Street with
a bit of an all over the place statement here…”
Winters: “But she’s clear
about one thing. She will be champion if she has anything to say about it. And
she’s got a good chance to do so.”
Sharper: “But notice that as
soon as Maximilian calmed her down, reminded her who stands with her…she got a
lot more confident. We only saw a glimpse of what he was capable of last week.
I fear what he may be able to do.”
Winters: “That’s Syren’s
problem…and it’s anyone else’s if they get involved too.”
Sharper: “And I’m sure they’ll
all be watching later tonight when Syren faces off against Alex Young.”
Kennedy Street continues to
stand tall in the ring. Carlos throws rose petals around as Maximilian keeps
scanning the arena.
We then open up backstage to
see Regan Street watching Kennedy on one of the monitors backstage. She then
steps forward and shoves the monitor over, causing it to fall to the ground,
and crack. She then looks down before turning away as David Helms jogs over to
her.
Helms: “Babe…what happened?”
Regan: “Nothing…I’m heading
out.”
Helms: “Show just started-“
Regan: “I can’t be here right
now.”
Regan turns and starts to walk
off before stopping and then looking up, glaring and clearly holding something
back. The crowd boos as Sienna Swann walks forward with Harmony Fisher.
Helms: “Oh not now-“
Harmony holds his hand up.
Harmony: “Not going to say
much David. I’m here for her.”
Harmony then flicks forward a
card. Regan looks at her.
Helms: “Come on Reg-“
Regan then takes the card.
Regan: “I’ll think about it.”
Helms looks at Regan. Sienna just smiles.
Sienna: “If she joins, does
that mean you will be too?”
Sienna smiles and winks at
Helms.
Helms: “Come on Regan…”
Helms and Regan walk off as
Sienna smiles watching him leave, clearly checking him out too. She then turns
to Harmony.
Harmony: “Be careful…don’t
want to make them make some tough decisions.”
Sienna: “I prefer hard
decisions…they don’t have to be tough.”
Sienna giggles as Harmony laughs
as the two walk off and the scene fades to black.
COMMERCIAL:
We return to Breakdown and we
see Kennedy Street walking backstage with Maximilian and Carlos. The crowd boos
seeing her before we see Autumn Valentine storm over to her.
Autumn: “So you want to talk
about wasting time, eh Kennedy-“
Maximilian just steps over and
grabs Autumn and lifts her up.
Autumn: “Hey, you-“
Maximilian then just throws
her back. Autumn falls to her feet and falls back as Christy then jogs in and
stops her from rolling further. Autumn then looks up in pain. Kennedy then
turns to her, standing behind Maximilian.
Kennedy: “Autumn…I see you’ve
met Maximilian too. Yes, it was wasting time. Because I don’t need to be
Women’s Champion when I can just be the World Champion-“
Autumn: “You want to play that
game Kennedy. How about actually shutting me up then? How about proving you’re
better-“
Autumn starts to get up as
Christy stops her.
Christy: “Autumn-“
Autumn: “No…Come on Kennedy.
If I’m a waste of time, send your little message to Syren and show that you’re
SOOOO much better than her.”
Kennedy just laughs.
Kennedy: “Come on Maximilian…Carlos…get
the rose petals. Don’t want to step anywhere SHE has.”
Carlos starts to throw rose
petals up in front of her as they walk off. Autumn goes to take a swing, but
Christy stops Autumn too as we cut away.
Stacy Kissinger vs. Craig Thomas
The crowd's murmuring quietens
as they see Phillips standing at the ring's center, raising the microphone to
his lips.
Phillips – Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one
fall!
“Adrenaline” by Shinedown begins blasting through the arena as blue and yellow
lights pulse rapidly in an alternating fashion on the stage. As the opening
guitar riffs of the song come to an end, blue and yellow pyro goes off on
stage, and when the lyrics start Tyler Tucker excitedly leaps through the smoke
and starts getting the fans amped up for the impending match. Right behind him
is Craig Thomas with a rare smile on his face as he puts an arm around Tyler’s
shoulders and points out to the cheering fans. When the song hits the chorus
they both break into a full sprint down the ramp and simultaneously slide into
the ring. They go to climb opposite corners and point out at the fans before
climbing down and going to pose in the center of the ring, Tyler sliding onto
his knees in front of Craig and extending his arms with a big smile as Craig
puts a calming hand on his friend’s head, the smile now leaving his face as his
usual emotionless expression takes over.
Phillips - Hailing from Denver, Colorado standing at six foot four inches and
weighing in tonight at two hundred and forty five pounds, he is one hald of
Adrenaline Rush--
CRAIG THOOOOOOOOMAAAAAAAAS!!!
Sharper - Craig Thomas will see a significant test in Stacy Kissinger tonight.
A former SCW United States Champion. A former SCW Interim
Women's champion. She's someone who's seen her fair share of success in
her time in the company.
Winters - Yeah, Stacy's a talented girl in her own right. And don't forget
she's a two time SCW Tag Team Champion, something Thomas definitely wouldn't
mind being in his trophy room.
Sharper - Very true. Then again, who in their right
mind wouldn't? Speaking of which, with this match tonight and Derek Adonis
facing Tyler Tucker next Wednesday, all signs point to Adrenaline Rush facing
off against Stacy Kissinger and Derek Adonis in the near future, something both
Stacy and Craig were thinking of going into this.
Winters - And somehow, Adonis and Kissinger are unbeaten. Whoever thinks up
these tag team pairings in the back needs a raise cos I never would have
thought those two would work together. Hell, I didn't see Adonis gelling with
any woman period.
Sharper - He's definitely... an acquired taste.
Winters - Oh, come off it you're repulsed by him too.
Sharper - At any rate! This'll be a big match to get some momentum for when the
encounter between the two teams take place. Not to mention a great chance for
this young man to prove he can hold his own in the squared circle himself.
Craig helps Tyler to his feet and the friends convene to their corner to
discuss strategy for the match ahead.
Phillips – And his opponent...
The lighting completely turns off inside the arena and only the SCWtron is lit.
It shows a set of deep brown eyes. It slowly zooms out to show the face of
Stacy Kissinger, which leads to the crowd booing, and zooms out even further
until her entire frame can be seen before if zooms back in real fast to just
show Stacy’s face. Her eyes blink and then close and the SCWtron goes to black.
But it's not a few seconds before the beginning of "Dark Horse" by
Katy Perry is heard, a chorus of boos from the crowd accompanying it. A small
bit of fog rolls out onto the stage and the familiar figure of Stacy Kissinger
steps out and through the fog. The stage lights come on so everyone can see her
holding a microphone, wearing a gold glittery robe around her. Stacy however
just teases the crowd, not singing at all, but instead just standing there so
they're forced to look at her and get no entertainment.
Instead it's only Katy Perry's voice that's heard:
I knew you were
You were gonna come to me
And here you are
But you better choose carefully
‘Cause I am capable of anything
Of anything and everything
It's at this point that Stacy removes herself from the foggy stage and descends
down the ramp as she looks around the arena a little bit.
Phillips – Making her way to the ring from Dallas, Texas standing at six foot
dead and weighing in tonight at one hundred and forty one pounds--
STACY KIIIIIIIIIIIIISSINGEEEEEEEEEEER!!!
Sharper - Stacy's looking to rebound from her team's
elimination at the Trios Tournament. They had a good showing but it wasn't
enough to reach the finals.
Winters - Sure, they lost but you can't get hung up any single loss in this
business. That could end up being destructive. Besides they went up against
what was pretty much the universally agreed favourites
of Trios. It would have been a huge upset if they stole a win there.
Sharper - Now she's the favourite against the plucky Chris Thomas who hasn't
had too much experience in singles competition which is definitely Stacy's
playground. It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out.
Make me your Aphrodite
Make me your one and only
Don’t make me your enemy, your enemy, your enemy
Stacy completes her walk to the ring and slides in. She then stands up and goes
to the center of the ring and slowly spins herself around so she can view the
entire arena.
So you wanna play with magic
Boy, you should know what you're falling for
Baby do you dare to do this
Cause I’m coming at you like a dark horse
Stacy allows the glittery gold robe to drop to her feet, revealing that she has
on a short frilly black skirt and a rather revealing red halter top that states
"#DramaFree" on the front. She taunts those in the crowd that are
booing her. While she does, one line of pyro goes off while her entrance music
is coming to an end.
Are you ready for, ready for
A perfect storm, perfect storm
Cause once you’re mine, once you’re mine
There’s no going back
The music stops and Stacy nods before going to a corner of the ring, setting
her special personalized microphone down in the corner. She then then warms up
for the match that she's about to take part in.
Tyler pats Craig's shoulder for luck as he steps out of the ring. Stacy offers
her opponent a handshake which Craig gazes at for a few moments. He takes it,
much to the crowd's delight. He steps back from his foe as he takes a huge
breath. The ref checks for any concealed weaponry on both competitors as the
crowd heats up.
Sharper - That's something I never get tired of seeing. We never see enough
sportsmanship in that ring when the chips are down.
Winter - Pfft! Sportsmanship is for pansies.
Satisfied, the ref calls for the bell to get this one underway.
* DING! -- DING! -- DING! *
Craig and Stacy are on their toes at the sound of the bell, circling each other
as they measure one another up. Stacy encourages the crowd to raise the volume,
feeding off their energy.
They cautiously close in on one another for a collar and elbow and Craig
overwhelms Stacy, forcing her into the ropes. Stacy holds her hands up, looking
for the rope break and the referee barks at Craig to oblige. Frowning at the
ref’s tone, Craig obeys and backs away to create some space.
Heaving a feel of Craig’s strength, Stacy rolls her shoulders as she eyes up
the rookie. Both competitors tease another tie-up, but Stacy quickly steps in
to snare Craig in a side headlock without missing a beat. Craig shoves her off
to the ropes and on the return Stacy gets downed by a shoulder block. Craig
follows with an elbow drop but Stacy rolls out of dodge. Scurrying to their
feet, it’s Stacy who’s upright first and she fires off some right hands at
Craig, bulling him into the ropes. She whips him across the ring, looking for a
back body drop but Craig pulls the brakes and strikes Stacy’s neck with an
elbow!
Stacy jerks up, but Craig pulls her into a gutwrench waistlock, a precursor to
his Flipping The Bird, but Stacy escapes with a
release northern lights suplex! Craig hobbles back to his feet and Stacy goes
right after him.
Winters - Ho ho, ho, this kid’s a bit cheeky. Looking for the finisher right
from the get go.
Sharper - His Flipping The Bird, aka an inverted front
powerslam, is no joke. I've seen him hit it a good few times and Stacy made
sure she didn't get any more than a taste of it there.
Stacy stays on Craig like a bad itch, hitting some hard forearm shots leaving
Craig dazed by the ropes. Stacy runs off the ropes opposite to build some steam
but her clothesline attempt gets offset by a back body drop to the floor by the
Denver native! With Tyler leading them, the crowd cheers for their homegrown
superstar.
Turning on the apron, Craig measures Stacy up for a diving bionic elbow, but
she sidesteps the effort! She hits an elbow of her own and it causes Craig to
stagger back after getting his head rattled. Stacy hops up onto the apron and
dashes to hit a missile front dropkick at the rookie. She brings Craig to his
feet and rolls him into the ring. Climbing the top, itching to keep her offence
going, Stacy allows Craig to return to his feet before launching off the top to
deliver another missile dropkick that hits its mark!
Craig is sent rolling across the ring and ends up by the turnbuckles, groggy.
Once he pulls himself to his feet, Stacy darts at him but eats a big boot for
her troubles. Stumbling back, she almost gets her head taken clean off her
shoulders from a clothesline, but she goes down for a drop toe hold, bringing
Craig down to the canvas. Stacy stomps at Craig’s right knee relentlessly
before taking hold of his leg and dragging him to the ring’s centre. There,
Stacy rolls off a series of elbow drops targeting Craig’s knee that leaves him
clutching at it in pain.
She helps the big man to his feet only to dropkick him right into that knee and
the connection has him yell out in pain as he stretches his leg up into the
air, trying to relieve it of its pain – which left it exposed. Stacy kicks at
it and Craig howls again, much to Tyler’s concern. Tyler pounds the mat, trying
to rouse the crowd to show their support. It doesn't take long for a
"THOMAS!" chant to get going. Craig rolls away from Stacy but she
stays in close pursuit and hits a knee drop on that damaged knee.
The Texan assists Craig to his feet, focusing her kicks on Craig’s knee, making
him hop back a few steps. Another kick has him retaliate with a hard right.
They trade blows, Kissinger kicking Craig’s knee and Craig punching Stacy’s
jaw. A viscous kick sweeps Craig off his feet and Stacy goes for a quick cover.
ONE!
SHOULDER UP!
Groaning whilst clutching at his knee, Craig uses his free arm to pull himself
along the canvas to build some distance him and Stacy as he recuperates. Seeing
Craig near the turnbuckles, Stacy gives him no rest by stamping into his knee.
Sharper – Stacy is not letting up on that knee at all.
Winters – Smart thing too. If she obliterates that knee, there's no chance in
hell Thomas is hitting most of his high impact moves. The guy's got some real
muscle behind him so taking away his power is always a good thing.
Undeterred by the barrage, Craig uses the ropes to help him return to a
vertical base. Leaning back into the turnbuckles, he receives another lethal
kick to his hurting knee, and then another for good measure. Taking three steps
back, Stacy comes charging at Craig for a hard jumping high knee. Dazed from
the blow, Craig blunders out of the corner and Stacy comes in from behind with
a chop block to Craig’s knee once again.
On the canvas, Craig kicks out his leg a few times, trying to get some feeling
back into it. Stacy struts to the turnbuckles opposite, willing Craig to get
back up. The moment he does, Stacy comes barrelling in with a clothesline! But
Craig rolls out of the way! Getting nothing but turnbuckle, Stacy lumbers
backwards holding her chest and stumbles right into a back suplex!
Landing on her head, Stacy somehow returns to very shaky feet. Craig remedies
that by nailing her with a kitchen sink! With Stacy downed,
Craig checks his knee again and shakes it out. He wipes the sweat from his face
as he steps up beside Stacy to drill her with a series of well-placed knee
drops to the chest, even sticking a pair of middle fingers at Kissinger’s face
before hitting the last one.
Winters - If he's that pissed, Stacy must have done a number his knee. Now he's
returning the favour.
Sharper – A lot of Craig’s big moves target the chest or back so don’t be surprised
to see him hone his offence around Stacy’s abdomen throughout the match.
Winters – That’s right Thomas has a lot up his sleeve that deals out some nasty
damage to the back, chest and ribs. Very efficient in how he wears down his
opponents.
Still showing she’s in the game Stacy struggles back to her feet, grabbing at
her sides as she does. Craig grabs her by the hair and speeds up the process by
pulling Kissinger up. Stacy suddenly fires some punches at Craig's gut, before
cracking his knee with yet another harsh kick. Craig yells out, but cuts off
her attack with a sharp elbow to the jaw and a knee to the ribs that doubles
Stacy over. Craig snaps Stacy up to hit a waist-lift sitout side slam that gets
some ohs out of the fans. On the outside Tyler’s whooping at the big move
landing as it leaves Stacy sprawling on the canvas. Craig drops down for the
cover.
ONE!
TWO!
KICKOUT!!!
Not too surprised by the kickout, Craig aids Stacy to her feet and bullies her
right into a corner. Once there, he hits a trio of shoulder thrusts into
Stacy’s ribs. He follows up by whipping Stacy into the turnbuckles opposite.
Craig follows her in but Stacy ducks under a clothesline attempt. Craig spins
round takes three steps forward before getting a kick to the knee once again,
halting Thomas as he clutches at his knee. Sensing opportunity, Stacy goes big
by hitting her--
SPINNING NECKBREAKER
By Stacy Kissinger!
Stacy makes the lateral press!
ONE!
TWO!
SHOULDER UP!!!
The crowd are getting into the contest as Stacy stays relentless. She pulls the
youngster to his feet and Irish whips him across the ring, but Craig reverses
it! Stacy comes off the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Craig ducks under
the outstretched arm. Behind the Texan now, Craig hits her with his—
BLUE THUNDER BOMB
By Craig Thomas!
Feeling a jolt of pain shoot up knee, Craig wants to waste no time. Powering
through the pain, he gets back to his feet and rips Stacy off the canvas with
him. He slips her into a gutwrench waistlock and lifts her high into the air,
Stacy struggles, but Craig brings her crashing down with—
FLIPPING THE BIRD
By Craig Thomas!
Sharper – Flipping The Bird! That could seal it here!
Tyler begs Craig to make the cover and he doesn’t need to be told twice.
Scrambling for the pin, Craig hooks both legs as the ref makes the count!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!!!
* DING! -- DING! -- DING! *
Craig rolls off Stacy in relief to the cheers of the packed Pepsi Center. Tyler
slides in to congratulate his best friend on his huge win.
Winters - Wow. He actually got her!
Sharper - Talk about a momentum builder! Craig Thomas with a big win over Stacy
Kissinger tonight! Stacy had a great game plan but Flipping The
Bird proved deadly. With Craig packing that gem, he was able to squeak out the
win!
Phillips - Ladies and gentlemen…
Here is Your Winner, By Pinfall
CRAIG THOOOOOOMAAAAAAAAAS!!!
Craig gets his hand raised by Tyler and the referee, soaking in the adulation
of the cheers from his hometown. Once he sees Stacy standing up, he offers her
a nod of respect which she returns. The veteran rolls out of the ring, leaving
the Denver homeboys to celebrate Craig's win.
We open up backstage in the
production truck to hear Merrick Wiseman and Mr. D having a rather animated
conversation.
Wiseman: “She’s not here. It’s
perfect. She’ll have to stew about it.”
Mr. D: “Merrick, this program
is not for you to litigate every match. It’s to make sure matches have the
deserved winners and losers.”
Wiseman: “Well I want it to be
more. I want to get away from the attacks, and the fact is, just like you said
it, Angelica Jones made a joke of this tournament-“
Mr. D: “And she did it with
the rules in place. She bent them.”
Wiseman: “She got people to
attack her-“
Mr. D: “Prove it. You know
that.”
Wiseman: “And you know that I
have no problem taking Angelica Jones into a domain she’ll struggle with for
this attack.”
Wiseman holds up his arm.
Mr. D: “You know as well as I
do you’ll be laughed out of court.”
Wiseman: “It happened outside
of a match.”
Mr. D: “Did it happen near the
ring? Did it happen when physicality of the situation was still the case? I
hate it too, but I’m not going to be extorted by you in removing her from the
semis. If I do that, I remove her. I need to remove you because frankly, I’m
not sure you should be cleared…”
Wiseman just looks at Mr. D.
Mr. D: “You need to hope that
Selena Frost wins. That’ll remove all of these issues. If Angelica Jones wins
it all…then Silas gets a feather in his cap. You’ll need to deal with that. So
best way to make sure justice is served…sit there and watch
the matches and make sure everything is on the up and up.”
Wiseman: “That’s not enough.”
Mr. D: “That’s all I’m
allowing right now.”
Mr. D starts to head out of
the production truck. Wiseman shakes his head.
Wiseman: “That’s not what I’m
agreeing to then…”
Wiseman turns back to the
monitors as we cut away.
COMMERCIAL:
We return to ringside and we
open up at ringside to see Adam Sharper and Shawn Winters at ringside.
Sharper: “Welcome back to
Breakdown. This past Saturday was the 2015 Trios Tournament and on that night,
we saw Jake Starr do something truly heinous.”
Winters: “We always talk about
how you don’t touch the official and you don’t cross that line. Starr
obliterated it.”
Sharper: “Just listen here.
Merrick Wiseman had pointed out Jake Starr’s use of a steel chair earlier in
the match. He tempted fate and got disqualified and here’s what happened.”
SUPREME SATURDAY – February 21, 2015
Jake then pulls the official out of the ring. The referee
looks at Jake as Jake snaps at him as the camera gets in close.
Jake: “Now you’re going to ignore this or else you’re
going to regret that-“
Referee: “I know the chair Jake. I heard it and Merrick
says you used it. Now this. No…done…”
The referee turns and calls for the bell as Lucas walks
over and watches. CHBK just watches them too, not getting involved. Jake just
smirks as Lucas then turns as Cruze stops and Trinity gets a cheap shot in on
Cruze, knocking him back. Lucas tells Trinity to stop and Trinity backs up.
CHBK drops down off the apron as Mikaela does too.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, as a result of a
disqualification, Lucas Knight, Trinity Street and CHBK!”
The crowd boos as Trinity and Lucas already are starting
to make their exit. CHBK is a lot slower, slowly making his way around with
Mikaela as they circle the ring. The camera cuts back to Jake and the referee.
Jake just smirks, shaking his head as we cut to nearby
camera to hear the official talking to him.
Referee: “Not going to give you latitude if you’re going
to piss on it, Jake. That’s not how this works.”
Starr: “How about I tell you how this works?”
Starr then kicks the referee in the ribs before pulling
him back and placing his head between his legs. He then hoists him up as the
crowd roars before spiking him with a vicious piledriver that causes the
referee to fold up before rolling to his side. The crowd ohs and Jake then gets
up. Jake then looks at him before going to the camera.
Jake: Merrick…that’s on your hands. You want to get
involved in my matches again, someone’s getting their blood spilled. I hope you have some money
for that dipshits family.”
Jake shoves the cameraman back. He turns and Cruze drops
down and gets in Jake’s face. Jake just ignores him and Cruze spins him around
and Jake forearms him, knocking him down. Cruze then turns and starts to get up
as Thoren Holt and Brandon Evans walk past him. Jake storms to the back as
Syren and Jason Phillips have headed over to the official as he’s down. Jake
just continues to head to the back and storms through it before we see several
other officials and some EMTs heading out.
Winters: “No remorse. Just doing it because he can.”
Sharper: “First the chair
shots and now this. Well we can tell you that Jake Starr has been suspended
without pay for this week. He won’t be here tonight. He won’t be at any of our
house shows. We expect him here next week, but we wonder what he’ll have to say
given tha.t”
Winters: “And what about the
official?”
Sharper: “Fortunately, despite
a bruise, he’ll be fine. But still, a scary situation as you saw the impact.
The fact is that Jake Starr is crossing the line and for what reason? I’ll
never understand.”
Alexander Sire vs. Alexis Quinne
The haunting strings of “Night
on Bald Mountain” echo throughout the arena and the lights dim while smoke
billows out from the sides, filling the stage area. As the music escalates,
from the smoke emerges Alexander Sire. He has his hands in his pockets as he
strolls out on his carved oak cane from the smoke, which suddenly dissipates
behind him. Behind him strolls Cabal. Sire takes off his coat and hands it to
Cabal who offers Sire his wrestling gloves.
Jim Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way
to the ring, from Glascow, Scotland, weighing one hundred and seventy one
pounds, ALEXANDER SIIIIIIIRE!
Sire walks to the ring, putting his gloves on and entering the ring. He places
his arms together and we see the scales and dragon wings that are his leather
bracers.
Sharper: A man enriched with thirty five years of wrestling experience
Alexander Sire gets ready to square off against the leader of PUNK HAZARD
Alexis Quinne.
Winters: He's definitely been around for a while. The age difference is
staggering. Sire is 54, Quinne is 22. So much that when Alexis Quinne was born,
Alexander Sire had already been wrestling for twelve years! This man has been
wrestling before Alexis was even thought of by her parents.
The eyes all focus on the stage as A Stranger I Remain hit's over the P.A
System. The crowd starts to buzz as Alexis Quinne walks out from the back as
well as Grundy and El Rudo. Alexis is sporting a green, silver and black beater
with PUNK HAZARD on the front. El Rudo has a bucket of powder in one hand and a
pole with a PUNK HAZARD flag on it. Grundy is sporting an
black jumpsuit with the PUNK HAZARD logo on the back in green. The San
Francisco native looks at the crowd. She starts her trout down to the ring with
Rudo and Grundy.
I've come here to save you
And I can already taste the kill
Like caressing an angel
Burning up in the atmosphere
And with the blood of a dying star above
My true aesthetic's unwinding
And I'm about to come undone
Alexis points to her PUNK HAZARD t-shirt to the camera while sticking her
tongue out and mocking the audience members. Meanwhile El Rudo and Grundy are
following her. El Rudo antagonizes the fans while Grundy scares some of them
with his near presence. Alexis looks at some of the
members of the audience before Alexis walks up the steel steps and goes under
the bottom rope. El Rudo places his trust bucket on the apron before sliding in
the ring with the flag pole. Grundy frantically starts going
after the nearest cameraman.
Phillips: And her opponent, from San Francisco, California, representing PUNK
HAZARD, ALEXIS....QUINNNNE!
So don't let me become the one you love
'Cause I'll just take your blood and use you up
I know it's tempting to jump off the edge and fly
But this is not a dream
So don't let me become the one you love
Here I come
Once she enters the ring, El Rudo then raises the PUNK HAZARD flag up high to
boos. Alexis smiles widely as she points to it and then she ascends the nearest
turnbuckle. She makes mocking faces towards the audience while mouthing off.
Alexis jumps off and sits on top of the turnbuckle in the corner with a smirk
on her face while El Rudo stands on the apron with Alexis. Grundy remains on
the outside, kicking the steel steps.
Winters: Here comes trouble. Alexis Quinne and her crew are here. This girl
right here has been quite the nuisance lately hasn't she?
Sharper: She's hellbent on getting another Women's Championship match and
another crack at both Christy Matthews and Autumn Valentine. But tonight she has
to be focused on her opponent because she's facing a man who
literally have seventeen times more experience than her.
Alexis smirks at Sire across the ring as her music fades out. El Rudo points
towards the direction of Sire on the apron before he drops to the floor. The
referee soon rings the bell and the crowd roars. Sire glares at Alexis, who
remains perched on the top turnbuckle, smiling at Alexander. Alexis sticks her
tongue out at him before finally coming down. Alexander stares down Alexis as the
two circle the ring. They go to tie up however Alexis
manages to duck underneath Alexander's attempt. She then taunts Alexander in a
mocking manner, almost gyrating her body. This causes
the crowd to boo Alexis, meanwhile El Rudo is actively
heard cheering on his unitmate. Alexander looks at Alexis before shaking his
head as the two circle each other once again. They go
to tie up and once again Alexis manages to evade and then mock Sire for it
again.
Winters: Sire does not look entertained right now. Alexis Quinne is trying to
clown him.
Sharper: That's the almost juvenile personality we've come to expect from
Alexis. Though perhaps it isn't wise to try to mock a capable
wrestler like Sire.
Alexis continues to mock Sire before turning to her corner where El Rudo is up
on the apron. The two exchange a high five before Alexis turns her back to El
Rudo. Alexis motions to Sire, telling him to come on but Sire doesn't budge.
The two once again circle the ring and when they go to tie up, Alexis again
manages to duck underneath but Sire quickly trips up Alexis and then
immediately tries to go for the Arrow of Sherwood! The crowd roars but then
boos as Alexis desperately grabs the bottom rope before Sire could even apply
the hold.
Sharper: Alexis Quinne has to be grateful that she was close to the ropes
because had she been in the middle of the ring, she made as well have tapped to
the Arrow of Sherwood.
Winters: Yeah the taunting was fun and she's hot and all but she was worried
too much about embarrassing Sire and almost paid for it.
Alexis continues to cling on the bottom rope until the referee backs Sire off
of her, to which he does respectfully. Alexis slowly reaches a vertical base,
clearly annoyed. She yells at Sire before suddenly charging at him. Sire easily
takes her down with a drop toe hold and then surprises her with an Oklahoma
Roll;
1!
2!
Quinne escapes at two! Both competitors reach a vertical base at the same time.
Alexis instantly rakes the eyes of Sire, blinding him. Alexis smirks before she
runs to the ropes. She runs back whoever when she does, Sire elevates in the
air and lands a beautiful dropkick for a man his age. The crowd roars as Sire
goes for another pinfall;
1!
2!
Alexis rolls the shoulder at a quick two.
Sharper: Sire has Alexis on her heels a bit and is controlling the match so
far.
Winters: Yeah Quinne hasn't been able to get any momentum on her side. She's
been too busy taunting him and that's leading to Alexander Sire dominating here
in this match.
El Rudo is heard yelling on the outside while Grundy remains stoic. Sire grabs
a hold of Quinne and locks in a chin lock. Quinne struggles to break free but
does somehow manage to get to her feet despite the hold put on her. Quinne
elbows Sire a few times in the mid-section however Sire continues to have the
hold. Pint Sized Awesomeness starts stepping on the feet of Alexander until the
hold is released. Quinne, now free, once again stomps on Alexander's feet
before he runs to the ropes. Quinne runs back and when she does, Sire leapfrogs over Alexis. The crowd oohs as Alexis
continues running and bounces off the ropes behind Sire. Sire turns right
around and almost connects on a roundhouse kick towards her way. Alexis ducks
at the final second and then rolls out of the ring to take a breath; her
expression relived. El Rudo quickly runs over to Alexis on the outside as Sire
looks on from in the ring. The referee begins his count at one shortly after.
Unbeknowing to Sire, Alexis is soon seen crawling underneath the ring as El
Rudo acts as if she's still reeling on the outside. The referee's count goes up
to two.
Winters: Ha! Quinne just went under the ring to hide. She's a strange one
that's for sure,
Sharper: This isn't the first time we've seen Alexis Quinne use this to her
advantage. It's definitely an unorthodox move but one thing we do know about
Alexis it's that she is far from orthodox.
The referee's count is now at three and Sire starts getting restless. She walks
towards the direction of El Rudo and Grundy until he looks down at the floor
and sees that Alexis is nowhere to be found. The count is now at four and Sire
ignores the yelling of El Rudo by turning his back towards him and looks
around, hoping that Alexis pops up eventually. The referee's count is now at
five. El Rudo looks up and see that Sire isn't looking
at his side of the ring and this is the moment he holds up the ring apron
curtain and sure enough, Alexis Quinne rolls out and the slides in the ring.
Sire spins around upon hearing Alexis however it's too late as Alexis lands a
dropkick directly aimed at Sire's right knee! Sire goes down, instantly holding
his knee in pain as Alexis laughs to boos.
Winters: Haha that was nice! Say what you want about Alexis Quinne but you
can't say that she isn't a smart little nugget.
Sharper: The craftiness of Alexis Quinne was just displayed right there and now
she sees a perfect opportunity to take control of the match.
Alexis Quinne doesn't waste time and starts stomping away at Sire's injured
knee. The referee soon steps in and pulls Alexis off of Sire, which only last a
minute before Alexis runs over and starts stomping away at the knee once again.
Sire soon grabs the bottom rope for support but Alexis doesn't let up.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Alexis lets go and then yells at the referee. Alexis
then turns to Sire and grabs a hold of him. Alexis pushes Sire to the corner
before landing a couple forearm shivers. Sire shoves her away but Alexis
responds by sending a kick to the injured right knee of Sire. Quinne then wraps
the right knee around the middle rope before she runs to the ropes with speed.
She bounces off and lands a dropkick to the right knee of Alexander Sire,
sending him down to the canvas clutching his knee. Alexis goes for her first
pinfall of the match;
1!
2!
Alexander rolls the shoulder at two. Alexis argues with the ref that it was a
three count before picking herself back up and stepping on the right knee of
Sire. Alexis verbally mocks Sire on the ground before turning her attention to
the crowd and provokes them, drawing boos from the crowd. Alexis lands a stomp
on the right knee of Sire before bringing him up to his feet. Alexis grabs a
hold of Sire's head before swinging it down with a Neckbreaker. She goes for
another cover;
1!
2!
Sire kicks out at two.
Sharper: The usually fast paced Alexis Quinne is instead slowing things down
and working over Alexander Sire's injured right knee.
Winters: Smart gameplan. Quinne's really good at planning on the fly. She saw
that Sire's knee is a big bullseye and she's narrowing in on it.
Alexis continues to Alexander, even going so far as slapping his head a few
times before picking him up. Sire suddenly surprises Alexis with a few right
hands than stun Pint Sized Awesomeness. Alexis however counters by kicking the
right knee of Alexander, which sends the latter down ton the canvas on one
knee. Alexis then runs towards the set of ropes behind Alexis and when she
comes back, she grabs a hold of Alexander's head and drives it down with a
Bulldog. El Rudo cheers on while Grundy looks on in silence. Quinne gets
another pinfall;
1!
2!
Alexander rolls the shoulder at two, drawing cheers from the crowd. Alexis is
clearly showing some frustration but soon pushes her opponent to the outside
using her feet.
Winters: Right to the floor. Nice job. Just send him out, give yourself a
rest.”
Sharper: And the age of Sire
is something to consider. Hard landings, easier bruising.
It’s a way to really add some extra injury.
Sire starts to get up as Grundy walks over and Sire turns to him as the referee
tells Grundy to walk off. Sire slowly heads into the ring and gets in and once
again Quinne goes to attack the knee of Sire. Alexander somehow gets to a
seated position and starts punching the mid-section of Alexis Quinne to cheers.
However, Alexis manages to grab Sire's arm and then proceeds to bite it! Sire
yelps in pain but not for long as Alexis then capitalizes by landing a kick
straight to the face of Sire. Alexis floats over for the pinfall;
1!
2!
Sire kicks out again! Alexis shakes her head in disagreement but then later
starts biting the forehead of Alexander. She soon lets go and goes to pick up
Alexander again. A couple of kicks to the right knee soften up Alexander before
Alexis runs to the ropes. Alexis bounces off and Alexander catches Alexis off
guard and connects on an impactful clothesline that turns Alexis inside out!
The crowd oohs!
Winters: Damn. That clothesline just made Alexis do her best swan dive
impression with all those flips in the air.
Sharper: A powerful clothesline now has Alexis on the ground. Sire is getting
to his feet but his right knee is in a way.
El Rudo slaps the mat, hoping Alexis is able to regain her composure while
Alexander is slowly using the ropes to get up. The crowd starts get behind
Alexander as he does make it back to his feet. He picks up Alexis just to drive
her back down with a Short Arm Clothesline. He starts limping however this
doesn't stop him for going on the attack. Sire grabs Alexis and this time whips
her to the ropes. Alexis runs backs and Sire throws
her up and then back down with a Back Body Drop. He takes a moment to heal as
his knee starts acting up on him but Alexis meanwhile retreats in the corner.
Alexander sees this and charges again, landing a hard clothesline before
following up with The Oldest trick in the Book! The crowd roars!
Sharper: The Oldest trick in the Book connects. Quinne is down!
Winters: But so is Sire. That knee prevented him for making the cover right
away.
Sire almost crawls on top of Alexis and gets the cover;
1!
2!
Alexis rolls the shoulder at two, drawing boos. Sire gets to his feet, but
still clearly in pain due to his knee. Alexis starts to stir and eventually get
to a kneel position. Sire picks up Quinne and throws her to the ropes. Quinne
runs back but stops in her tracks and then runs to the ropes perpendicular to
Alexander. Alexis bounces off those ropes and then stops and then ina sudden motion does the same thing. Alexander spins
around and eventually Alexis comes back and lands a dropkick right to the right
knee. Sire goes on one knee and Quinne then follows with a Spinning Wizard! El
Rudo jumps in the air, sensing victory. Alexis makes the cover;
1!
2!
Sire rolls the shoulder at two! Alexis snaps at the referee and then the fans
for cheering for Sire. El Rudo shortly does the same on the outside while
Grundy starts to pace back and forth. Alexis then signals for the end and
starts ascending the top turnbuckle.
Winters: Uh oh, she's going for it.
Sharper: Looks like she's heading up top for the Quinniestinal Dream. If she
hits this, it's all over.
Alexis gets to the top turnbuckle and sticks her tongue out at a downed
Alexander Sire before jumping off. Sire manages to roll over however Alexis
must have anticipated this since instead of landing on her stomach, she lands
on her feet. Sire gets up, albeit slowly, and goes for the Knightfall from
behind however Alexis instinctively grabs a hold of the top rope, sending Sire
crashing down. El Rudo soon jumps on the apron and distracts the ref. This
allows Alexis to grab some of the salt from Rudo's salt bucket and then to see
directly into the eyes of Sire! The crowd boos and Sire is blinded. This allows
Quinne to then apply the Jack in the Box Cradle! Rudo jumps off the apron and the
referee sees the pin;
1!
2!
3!
Quinne quickly rolls off and then out of the ring where Rudo and Grundy are
there to meet her. "A Stranger I Remain" hits the PA system as the
crowd boo!
Phillips: The winner of this match, ALEXIS QUINNNNNE!
Sharper: Alexis Quinne just stole a victory from Alexander Sire thanks to the
salt from El Rudo's bucket, allowing her to execute the Jack in the Box Cradle.
Winters; Some call that a cheap win, I just call it a
win. Quinne's a smart cookie and that's why/ She'll do
whatever it takes to win and that was the difference in this match up.
Sire looks stunned while Alexis gets to her feet and starts celebrating with El
Rudo. The two mock Sire before turning around and walking to the back with
Grundy following. Sire continues to looked a bit
shocked. The referee starts to hold his earpiece as Sire just looks up and
shakes his head, trying to say no. The referee keeps listening before Sire
drops down and rolls to the floor. He then starts to head to the back, holding
his eyes a bit as the referee looks around.
Sharper: “Wiseman is trying to
get a hold of us. Sire, however…he’s leaving.”
Winters: “Well what’s being
said?”
Sharper: “Wiseman is telling
the referee about the salt but Sire is leaving…”
The scene slowly fades to
black.
COMMERCIAL:
We open up backstage to see
Alexander Sire walking backstage as Merrick Wiseman heads over to him.
Wiseman: “Sire…”
Sire just stops and holds his
hand up.
Wiseman: “What gives? You
should’ve had that match-“
Sire: “No I shouldn’t have.”
Wiseman: “She used the salt-“
Sire: “I know I felt it.
Merrick, I realize this may be hard for you to understand, but I’m making sure
no one doubt this Watchman program.”
Wiseman: “You should have-“
Sire: “And despite that, more
and more know of our friendship. Even if legitimate, I’m not giving them
ammunition. Plus, Merrick…I’m of an older generation. We settle it in the ring
and we’re not necessarily always for these new additions…The only way Alexis
Quinne and PUNK HAZARD will learn is if they’re beaten in their own game.”
Wiseman: “I can’t allow that.”
Sire: “Then I expect you to do
what’s necessary.”
Sire pats Wiseman on the back
before walking off. Wiseman shakes his head as we head back to ringside.
We open up at the announce
table to see Shawn Winters and Adam Sharper at ringside.
Sharper: “Not the response to
matters that Merrick Wiseman desired.”
Winters: “Frankly, I’m
impressed. The old bat still has some common sense. You get things done in the
ring. I hate this new idea.”
Sharper: “It’s
2015…we should be past these run-ins and attacks from behind .Competition
should be what reigns.”
Winters: “Spoken as someone
who hasn’t been in the ring in a long damn time.”
Sharper: “Well that aside, to
focus on what makes SCW great, last week, SCW made its first full tour of Asia
in its company history. We stopped in Malaysia, China and India and let’s take
a look back at the week that was in SCW.”
The Breakdown logo comes up.
We then see a shot of Kuala Lumpur at night before
cutting to a shot of the inside of the Putra Indoor Stadium to see Silas Mason
walking out, leading Angelica Jones to the ring. The crowd can be seen booing.
This is followed up with a shot of Shaun Cruze and Kelcey Wallace holding up
the SCW World Tag Team Championship belts in the ring. We then see a shot of
Syren backstage.
Syren: “Totally amazing. They’re so damn loud. They’ve
been waiting for a while.”
We then cut to see a shot of Jake Starr nailing Simon
Lyman in the back with a chair, knocking him down as the crowd boos. Some trash
can be seen flying as Starr quickly bails out of the ring. We even see Thoren
Holt batting some trash out of the air. We then cut to see Donovan Kayl and
Simon Lyman backstage. Lyman holds his back in pain.
Kayl: “Those fans know exactly what’s right and wrong and
that’s what’s happening. Starr is cheating them out of the competition they
deserve. Not going to last, Jake…not if I have something to say about it.”
We then cut to a shot of Hong Kong to see fans going into the building before showing fans cheering as Regan
Street makes her way to the ring. She pumps up the crowd before cutting
to a shot of Chris Cannon spearing Merrick Wiseman with the C4. He then goes
for the pin. We then cut away to see the lights go out before we then see Red
Rayne standing in the ring in a red hue as the crowd roars. We then see Merrick
Wiseman and Chris Cannon watching her.
We cut to a shot of Shanghai, China to then see Silk walking to the ring as the Chinese crowd cheers her.
She just smiles as she’s led to the ring with Aiken. We then see several fans
cheering as the camera pans across them before cutting to see Silk spewing a
mist into the eyes of Havoc Warrior Exodus, this time only Green Mist. Exodus
falls to the mat as the crowd ohs. We then cut to see Lucas Knight and Simon
Lyman staring at each other across the ring before going into a grapple as the
crowd roars. This is followed up with a shot of Dylan Howell diving to the
outside with a plancha onto James Marsh-Asher. We then see Matt Auclair
threatening some fans before security pulls him away.
Auclair: “Not any more respectful over here….All of those fan should fear not just me…but New Eden.”
Auclair is shown backstage before he kicks one of the
footlockers and walks off.
We then cut to a shot of New Delhi. Kennedy Street can be
seen with Ethan von Aaron and Maximilian heading to an Ashram. We then see a
shot of Kennedy Street being shooed out of the ashram as she’s being yelled at.
Ethan von Aaron tries to talk to spiritual master before we cut to a shot of
the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium to see Dark Fantasy reuniting in the
ring as Syren and Ravyn Taylor pose. We then see Syren getting attacked by
Katie Steward and Gigi Steward before we see Autumn Valentine running down to
the ring and sliding in for the save as the crowd cheers. We follow up with a
shot of Adrenaline Rush looking around in awe of the crowd.
We follow up with shot in Mumbai to see the many Indian
fans cheering. We then see Tommy Valentine walking out to the ring with the
Underground Championship and this is followed up with a shot of Tatum Lee,
Rachel Foxx and Tommy Valentine all looking at one another as they stand in the
ring, weapons strewn about as the crowd roars. This is followed by a shot of
Derek Adonis looking around and yelling out “KABLAM” only to be greeted by
boos. We then see Shaun Cruze and Jake Starr looking at one another. This is
followed by shots of Xander Valentine yelling at some fans and then showing
Katie Steward standing with Silas Mason in the ring before we cut away to a
shot of Mumbai at night.
The Breakdown logo comes up on
the screen.
Sharper: “A hell of a week in
Asia. Some great moments and great memories for everyone involved.”
Winters: “Yeah. Although Kennedy probably would disagree.”
Sharper: “Well we apologize
for all those she insulted, but…”
We then cut backstage to see
Mr. D in his office as he looks up and the door opens as CHBK and Mikaela
Street walk into the office. The crowd boos.
Mr. D: “Alex-“
CHBK: “Just stop. You’re not
giving me anything right now.”
Mr. D: “You don’t want your
Trios contract. Paperwork is all done.”
CHBK: “Oh I want it. But I
want this to get the focus it deserves. I want it out there.”
Mr. D: “You know why we’re not
doing that-“
CHBK: “Yeah and I don’t care.
Or I can go into any interviews and make it clear that this tournament is an
afterthought to you, to this company. Hell, why don’t we just shred the
contracts now.”
Mr. D: “Alex, this is
unreasonable.”
CHBK: “No, I’ve been at home
for three months. That was unreasonable. All I’m asking is that I get my Trios
Tournament contract, out there in the ring and get the opportunity to speak
about it. Maybe I’ll give you what you want and announce how I’ll cash it in.”
Mr. D just sighs.
Mr. D: “Fine. If it just ends
this so I can focus on everything else. I already have to add a match tonight
thanks to this business between Autumn and Kennedy.“
CHBK: “Good. See you out
there.”
CHBK turns to Mikaela.
CHBK: “Let’s go.”
Mikaela smirks as she walks
out too. Mr. D just shakes his head as the scene fades to black.
COMMERCIAL:
We open up backstage to see
Marisa Condolesa standing by with Ransom in the locker room area.
Condolesa: “Ladies and
gentlemen, I am here with Ransom and Ransom, last week, you were attacked by
Angelica Waters who ruined a match between you and Freddie Collins.”
Ransom: “Seems like she had a
problem with a few things I’ve said. She didn’t like that I take issue with how
Silas Mason is treating Brittany Lohan. She doesn’t like that I don’t think
Waters is a threat to Lohan and so she decided to come after myself and
Freddie. Well, Freddie, first off, hopefully we’ll have another kick at the can
at a later date, but right now, I have no problem stepping up for Brittany and
taking you our Angelica to give her one less headache to deal with. You’ve been
a thorn in her side for reasons I don’t know and don’t care to know. I’ll give
you something to deal with then and I’ll show you that I’ve just been waiting
for a moment to show what I can do. And then, you can realize that you need to
be careful about the fights you pick!”
Ransom turns and walks off.
Condolesa: “Thank you Ransom. Back to ringside.”
We cut away back to the ring.
We cut to the ring to see Mr.
D shaking his head as he stands in the ring. In front of him is a table with
envelopes on them. Mr. D also has a microphone in his hand.
Mr. D: “This past Saturday on
Supreme Saturday, we saw the 2015 Trios Tournament take place. On that night,
we saw a team with a wealth of experience and with the most cumulative time in
the business win the tournament in stunning fashion. Trinity Street, Lucas
Knight and CHBK defeated Regan Street, Ravyn Taylor and Christy Matthews to be
this year’s winners and to obtain these three contracts that you see on this
table.”
The crowd boos a bit, noting
the popularity of the three individuals.
Mr. D: “These
contracts, each one, gives the ability for each individual to have one
match with any stipulation at any event during the next three-hundred
sixty-five days. We’ve seen it used for World Championship opportunities,
revenge and glory. Now, these three have this power. Now I would’ve rather done
this all in private, but CHBK wants to have his time in the sun and I’ve got
many more important arguments to have tonight. So allow me without further ado,
first off, the SCW Hall of Famer…the Canadian Heartbreak Kid!”
The crowd boos as “This is How
a Heart Breaks” plays throughout the arena. A few moments pass before we see
CHBK walk out from the back in a suit with Mikaela Street. Mikaela is wearing
her #MikaelaKnowsBest t-shirt and jeans as she heads to the ring with the
Heartbreaker. The two make their way to the ring as the crowd continues to boo
them.
Sharper: “First time we’ve
seen that man and Mikaela Street on Breakdown since Total War.”
Winters: “Well he’s been off
recuperating but he looked pretty good last Saturday.”
CHBK reaches the ring and
walks up the steel steps. He walks along the apron and holds open the ropes as
Mikaela jogs up and enters into the ring. Mikaela then looks at Mr. D before
CHBK gets up and walks over to him and looks him right in the eyes. He then
pats him on the cheek before backing up. Mr. D just watches him as CHBK walks around the ring and Mikaela goes to the far
corner.
Sharper: “That interaction
tells you everything you need to know about the two of them.”
Winters: “Well they go way
back and CHBK and the boss have had their fair share of issues.”
CHBK then goes over to Mr. D
and asks for the microphone. Mr. D looks at him and CHBK asks him again and Mr.
D reluctantly gives it to him.
CHBK: “Thank you…now you can
leave and deal with whatever other fires you need to put out. I can handle the
rest.”
Mr. D says something to CHBK.
CHBK: “No…leave them here. I
have other business to deal with, specific with Trinity and Lucas.”
Mr. D looks at CHBK and CHBK
nods.
CHBK: “Go…”
CHBK watches Mr. D and Mr. D
looks down and shakes his head and exits the ring.
Winters: “CHBK I guess is
going to do the honours.”
Sharper: “I’m not sure about
this.”
Mr. D starts to head to the
back. CHBK turns back to the main camera.
CHBK: “I’ll admit that the main
reason I wanted to do this was so I could illustrate a greater point. I had
hoped that Lucas and Trinity would be here to join us but I guess they’re still
celebrating our stunning win from this past Saturday!”
Mr. D glances back as he
continues on his way before shaking his head and continuing to the back. CHBK
just continues.
CHBK: “That’s why this was
going to happen backstage, but I wanted to come out here and do this a bit more
publicly. See, I had a bit of an agreement with Trinity Street and Lucas
Knight. I know I’m north of fifty. I have only so many good days left and I
wanted one of these contracts on this table behind me. So I made it clear
because since Trinity Street has declared war on all those who wronged her, I
would give her exactly what she wanted on one condition. What was it? That we made it to be finals of the Trios Tournament and won.
If that happened, I would give Trinity Street a match with me and I would not
use my veto.”
CHBK smirks as he turns to
Mikaela. Mikaela just smirks too.
CHBK: “Now, Trinity elected to
take some of this out on Mikaela, but none of you would know that since Mikaela
and myself have been sitting up in Toronto or
California since Total War. Trinity has made it clear that she wants me and a
lot of others. Well, here we are, winners of the
tournament and yet, to claim their prize, Lucas and Trinity aren’t here. I was
ready to come over here, grab the camera, make clear in front of the world that
we could have our match, you could get your chance at revenge, Trinity…but
yet…you’re not here.”
CHBK smirks as he pauses.
CHBK: “Now what could be more
important than these contracts and my word?”
CHBK looks down and chuckles.
CHBK: “Apparently, something
else and for that, I will be a man of my word. I will face you….tonight.”
The crowd boos.
Sharper: “Come on.”
Winters: “Hey! He’s keeping
his word.”
Mikaela just smiles and
applauds. CHBK looks around.
CHBK: “If you show up here
tonight, I will happily come back down to this ring and face you one on one
Trinity. I will give you your chance at revenge. Now, I’ll be honest, I think
you’ll probably choke again…”
CHBK chuckles a bit as Mikaela
smiles.
CHBK: “But we’ll see. A lot of
time left in the show.”
CHBK then holds his hand up.
CHBK: “And just to make sure
of one other thing. You and I will have to meet up at some point. See, Lucas,
Trinity, just to make sure that you realize what you’ve done, I will keep your
contracts for safe-keeping.”
CHBK then turns and grabs his
contract, noting the names of the three individuals printed on them.
CHBK: “D’s not here. I assume
he’s had them all notarized…names put into it already.
That’s great. We’re not going to cash them in. We can’t. We can however hold
onto them and Lucas, Trinity…if you want them, you just have come and ask.”
CHBK hands his contract to
Mikaela before turning and grabbing the other two contracts, in their envelopes
and smiles.
CHBK: “It was nice doing
business with you both. Only so much time left. I’m keeping my part of the deal
up. I just hope that you don’t squander your opportunity.”
CHBK turns as “This is How a
Heart Breaks” starts to play. The crowd boos as CHBK puts the microphone down
on the table. He then takes the two contracts and heads over to the ropes and
steps through them. Mikaela holds onto CHBK’s contract as she heads to the
ropes and steps through. CHBK then helps her down and the two start to head to the back.
Sharper: “I don’t believe what
CHBK is trying to do. Skirt around his own promise to Trinity Street-“
Winters: “No he’s not. He’s
just calling them out. They chose to not be here tonight. They took the chance
that he’d be a man of his word.”
Sharper: “But why take the
contracts? He can’t do anything with them.”
Winters: “Symbolize. That’s
the power they earned…and CHBK holds all of it now.”
CHBK and Mikaela Street heads
to the back as the crowd boos. We then cut away.
“Immortals” by Fall Out Boy starts to play. The Breakdown logo comes up on the
screen. We then see a shot of Alex Young and then a shot of Syren. We then see
both.
Sharper: “And from that
situation, a situation Kennedy Street I’m sure will be watching. Syren will
face off against Alex Young. They’ll go one on one, next, here on Breakdown!”
The scene fades to black.
COMMERCIAL:
We open up backstage to see
David Helms returning to the building as the crowd cheers.
Sharper: “David Helms is
back?”
Winters: “Guess he tied up the
Hellcat and came to do his job?”
Helms looks around before then
starting to head down one of the hallways and we the see Harmony Fisher walking
down the hallway towards him.
Harmony: “David…”
Helms: “What’s going on? I
just was told by Silas to urgently come back.”
Harmony: “Yes. Just come with
us. Something came up.”
Helms: “Are you screwing with
me, Harmony?”
Harmony: “No…just come with
me.”
Helms shakes his head and rolls his eyes
as he follows Harmony and we cut to the ring.
Syren vs. Alex Young
We cut to the ring where we
find Jason Phillips standing by with a microphone in hand. The fans cheer as he
makes the announcement.
Phillips: “The following match is scheduled for one fall, and is a non-title
match.”
Alter Bridge’s “Come to Life” begins to play as the entire arena is bathed in
gold lighting and the arena is transformed into a place of class and royalty.
Slowly Alex Young walks out onto the stage looking unimpressed at the fans
booing him. He shrugs it off easily and starts heading towards the ring, a
confident smirk forming on his lips.
Phillips: “Introducing first, from Delray Beach, Florida, weighing two hundred
and thirty seven pounds, this is ALEX YOUNG!”
He hops up onto the apron and takes a moment to wipe his feet on it before
stepping between the ropes. He climbs the nearest turnbuckle and smirks out
into the sea of booing fans before hopping down and beginning to warm up for
the match ahead.
Sharper: “And here we go, Alex Young about to take on Syren, and you can see by
the look on Young’s face he’s ready for this one tonight. A
big opportunity for him.”
Winters: “Any time you face any champion it’s a big opportunity, but for Alex
Young tonight it might just be one of the biggest. He did well in the Shot of
Adrenaline tournament, no doubt he’s put his name in contention for that down
the line, but he’s got a chance tonight against the World Champion.”
Sharper: “And you know that Kennedy Street is watching this one. Long
association between Alex Young and Kennedy, how does that affect this match
going in Shawn?”
Winters: “Well you’ve got to think that Young is going to want to weaken Syren
ahead of her match with Kennedy. You’ve also got to believe that she’s been
giving him some advice. She likely wants to see this one go his way, knock some
momentum off the champion before Retribution.”
“Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system as the lights dim and the
spotlights focus on the stage, flashing intermittently between white and pink.
After a few moments the curtains part as Syren makes her way on to the stage
with the World title around her waist to a huge reaction from the crowd. She
stands in the middle of the stage looking out at the fans before smiling at the
camera and, as the camera gets closer to her, leaning in toward it with a
confident nod. “I hope you’re watching Kennedy,” she tells the camera before
winking at it. The fans continue to cheer as she turns around, pointing at the
back of her ring-jacket where we see the words ‘Just Be Jealous’ accompanied by
her heart-logo.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
Dark Fantasy
She spins back around again before pointing at the
ring, leaning in to the camera again and smiling once again before telling the
camera, “ok let’s do this, let’s go steal the show!” The crowd cheer more as
she begins to walk down toward the ring, slapping hands on the way down to
ringside before stopping at ringside and jumping up on to the apron.
Phillips: “And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing one hundred
and twenty seven pounds, she is the current reigning SCW World Heavyweight
Champion, this is SYREN!”
She looks around again at the cheering fans before ducking down, shaking her
ass a little to another cheer from the fans before ducking in under the second
rope and walking across the ring, climbing to stand on the middle turnbuckle
and taking the World title from around her waist before raising it in to the
air. After a few seconds of posing she blows a kiss out to the crowd and jumps
down, walking across the ring to the other side where again she stands on the
middle turnbuckle, waving at the fans and blowing another kiss out to the
crowd. After several more seconds she leaps down, removing her ring jacket and
putting it in the corner, accompanied by the title. We cut to a picture in
picture view and we see Kennedy Street watching on a monitor in the back.
Sharper: “Well there you see it, we speculated on it, Syren even said it to the
camera, and there we see Kennedy Street is indeed taking an interest in this
match.”
Winters: “This close to Retribution, and knowing what’s on the line for her,
she’d be a fool not to take an interest. You’ve got to wonder how much of an
interest she’s taking though, after all she’s got a
confrontation with Autumn Valentine to come.”
Sharper: “That’s true, and there’s a close association between Autumn and Syren as well, both proudly calling themselves
Dark Fantasy members. Kennedy seems pretty focused on this one right now
though.”
Winters: “It’s time to see what lessons she’s passed on to Alex Young for this
one.”
The referee checks on both competitors before calling for the bell. Young charges
across the ring and swings for Syren before she’s even gotten out of the corner
but the World Champion ducks underneath the attempted clothesline and rolls out
of the corner. Young doesn’t stop though, coming straight after her again and
backing her toward the opposite corner. He charges in and she’s able to duck
another attempted shot before spinning around and striking him with a forearm
shot to the head. Young staggers back toward the ropes as Syren unleashes a
second hard forearm shot and then slaps him hard across the chest. The fans
cheer the sound of the slap. She steps back before throwing Young’s arm aside
and then hitting another one. The fans react the same
way again. She then goes to whip Young across the ring but he counters and
sends Syren in to the ropes instead, but Syren comes back with a spinning wheel
kick, knocking Young off his feet.
Sharper: “Alex Young trying to close the gap, trying to go straight after the
champion, but Syren using that speed and that agility to keep herself out of
his way.”
Winters: “It’s a smart strategy, after all we all know
that Young has the power advantage in spades here. If he can get Syren grounded
he can do all kinds of damage, so she needs to keep moving.”
Sharper: “And that makes this one rather unique in terms of a warm up match for
next Sunday, after all Kennedy Street and Alex Young are nothing alike.”
Young gets back to his feet and staggers to the ropes. Syren comes running at
him and attempts to clothesline him over the ropes to the outside but Young
doesn’t go all the way over and drops back down to the mat. He starts to get
back up and Syren jumps to the middle rope on the side of the ring and then
lands a dropkick on Young, which knocks him through
the ropes and to the outside. He rolls over on the outside holding his chest as
Syren stands in the ring getting the fans pumped up. The Denver crowd cheer as
Young uses the announce table to get back to his feet and staggers to one side.
Syren then runs the ropes and dives between the ropes, knocking Young backwards
in to the announce table before getting back to her feet to more cheers from
the fans. She rolls Young back in to the ring before climbing up on the apron,
but Young grabs her. Syren drops down off the apron and Young’s neck snaps off
the top rope. The fans cheer again as Young rolls about the ring and Syren
rolls back in.
Sharper: “And Syren really bringing the speed and the
impact to start this match off. Alex Young looks a bit shaken,
I don’t think he was expecting this.”
Winters: “He came in looking to take her down and dominate the match, to fight
it at his own pace, and right now he’s struggling to get his hands on her.”
We cut to the picture in picture again to see Kennedy in the back shaking her
head. On the main picture we see Syren running across the ring, looking to take
advantage as Young gets back to his feet but Young catches her and throws her
overhead with a belly-to-belly release throw. Syren bounces off the ring and
Kennedy cheers up significantly and applauds. The picture in picture quickly
ends as we see Young getting back to his feet again and looking less than
pleased. Syren gets back up and Young nails her with a running knee strike and
then drops her with a right hand. She rolls over toward the corner and Young
continues after her, picking her up and throwing her to the turnbuckles before
unloading with right hands that knock Syren back off her feet, and as she falls
he grabs the ropes and starts stomping away on her. The referee tells him to
stop and then starts counting 1… 2… 3… 4… before Young finally steps out of the
corner.
Sharper: “And Young finally catching Syren, and he’s
going to make her pay. Young stomping away, and he
stops it just before the five.”
Winters: “The referee doesn’t look like he’s going to give much leeway in this
one, and Young stepping out of the corner to avoid the disqualification.”
Young doesn’t even give Syren a chance to get back to her feet again before
he’s back in the corner however with a knee across her throat, forcing her head
back against the turnbuckles and choking her out. The referee tries to pull him
off before beginning the count. 1… 2… 3… 4… and Young breaks
just before the five again. He grabs Syren by the head and the hair and pulls
her out of the corner. The referee warns him about the hair but he switches to
a front facelock before snapping off a suplex. Syren rolls about in pain as
Young grabs her and forces her shoulders to the mat with a cover.
1…
2…
Sharper: “Syren kicking out. Young very aggressive tonight, absolutely
going after her now that he’s finally got her down. Do you think that’s
a result of Kennedy’s influence?”
Winters: “It could be a combination of factors. Syren started this one off
embarrassing him a little, I think he’s still hot about that, but there’s no
doubt that Young has a point to prove tonight and isn’t shy about proving it.”
Sharper: “Syren in clear pain here, Young looks like he’s got the advantage.”
Young grabs Syren by her hair before pulling her back up to her feet again and
as soon as she’s up he drops her with a straight right hand to the jaw. Syren
rolls over on the mat. Young stalks her for a moment and as she sits up he
slips in behind her and locks in a sleeper hold. He gets a good grip on it with
his thick arms, obviously restricting the oxygen and the blood flow, before
pulling her down to the mat where he has even more leverage. Syren rolls about
trying to break the hold. Young attempts to lock it in even tighter but Syren
is able to roll over and force herself up to her knees. She nails Young in the
gut with an elbow, and then another to break the hold, before unleashing
another forearm that staggers Young. She runs against the ropes, coming back at
him. Young steps in to catch her again, perhaps looking for the belly-to-belly
for a second time, but Syren rolls him up in a pin.
1…
2…
Sharper: “And Syren saw the attempted move coming that time and catches Young
in a pin, but Young kicking out before three.”
Winters: “Once again Syren back on her feet, she did well to break out of that
sleeper hold as quickly as she did, the thick arms of Young would have made it
impossible for her if she’d been grounded too long.”
Sharper: “Young in amazing shape, no doubt about that.
Everyone thinks this guy has a great future here, and a win tonight will
definitely get more eyes on him.”
Syren rolls over and gets back to her feet. She goes to grab Young but Young
counters and switches behind her before lifting her up and nailing a
belly-to-back suplex. Syren grabs the back of her head and rolls about on the
mat. Young rolls over and hooks the leg this time as he goes for the cover.
1…
2…
Syren kicks out. Young grabs her by the hair again and starts to pull her up.
The referee warns him about the hair. Young pushes Syren back in to the ropes
before whipping her across the ring and then charging across to meet her right
after she rebounds off the other side, flattening her with a running
clothesline. Syren rolls over again holding her head. Young quickly drops a
knee in the back of her head before rolling her over and once again hooking the
leg.
1…
2…
Sharper: “And Syren kicking out again here. Young in control though, he’s got
her down on that mat and he’s beginning to dominate the match.”
Winters: “The impact behind that running clothesline rocked Syren more than you
realise. Her head snapped back and Young saw another opportunity to end it.”
Young grabs Syren and goes to pull her up but Syren grabs him by the head and
drops back down again, catching him with a jawbreaker. Young staggers back
holding his jaw and Syren gets back to her feet before unleashing a right hand.
She follows up with another forearm shot to the face that knocks Young back,
and then another. She drives him toward the ropes before grabbing him and
whipping him across the ring but Young counters and sends Syren in to the
corner. He charges in but Syren gets a boot up and kicks him square in the jaw.
Young staggers out of the corner and drops to one knee. Syren quickly jumps to
the second rope and leaps off but Young catches her with a knee to the gut as
she comes at him. Syren goes down hard and Young once again rolls her in to a
pin.
1…
2…
Sharper: “No! Alex Young catching Syren as she came off the middle rope then, a
nice counter by Young, but it wasn’t enough to get the win.”
Winters: “Young has her scouted, he’s anticipating some of the offence, he’s doing a good job countering some of it. He’s also going
for a lot of covers, forcing her to keep kicking out.”
Sharper: “What does that do to you when your opponent is constantly forcing you
to kick out time and again Shawn?”
Winters: “It wears you out. It’s not easy to keep getting their weight off her
shoulders like that, and when your game plan is all about speed and agility it
doesn’t work so well when you’re lacking the strength. It’s a solid game plan
by Young, very smart.”
Young grabs Syren by the hair yet again and pulls her up. The referee warns him
about the hair again but he lets go in order to snapmare Syren over and then
kick her hard in the back. He then grabs her by the arms and rolls her back on
to her shoulders again.
1…
2…
Syren is forced to kick out yet again but Young doesn’t let up. He locks in the
sleeper hold again, kneeing Syren in the side as she tries to roll out of it
and rolling her over to the point that she’s got nowhere to go. She struggles
as he locks in the sleeper just right and she looks like she might be about to
start fading. The fans start chanting ‘Let’s Go Syren’ as Syren does her best
to try to get out of it, but Young keeps countering every attempt, keeping her
grounded and locked in the sleeper. Syren grabs Young by the head and manages
to pull him forward enough to knee him in the top of the head. Young seems
surprised and pulls back a little and Syren is able to force her way back to
her feet, contorting her body to do so. She gets almost back to a vertical base
and then grabs Young’s head again, dropping back down and nailing another
jawbreaker to finally break the hold. The fans cheer and Young rolls over on the
mat as Syren rolls away to get some space.
Sharper: “Oh, Syren showing just how flexible she can be. That knee to the head
was impressive, and I’m pretty sure most people can’t bend like that to get
back to their feet.”
Winters: “Impressive strength in her back and her legs to force her way up like
that. She was a high school cheerleader, right? I wonder if they teach you how
to bend like that on the cheer squad.”
Sharper: “You know that’s the kind of comment I’d expect about of Jonathan
Knots, not out of you Shawn.”
Syren gets back to her feet and she unleashes a straight forearm shot on a
recovering Young that knocks him back. She then nails
another, and then a right hand, and then an elbow, before finally whipping him
across to the corner. Young counters and once again sends Syren in to the
corner. He runs in after her and Syren gets a foot up but Young catches it and
shakes his head. Before he can do anything though Syren flips
up and nails an enziguiri to the back of his head, knocking him down to the
mat. The fans cheer but Syren seems too exhausted to make the most of
it, and it’s actually Young who starts to get back to
his feet first. Young gets back up and Syren uses the ropes to pull herself up.
Young charges in after her and Syren catches him with
another kick to the head before running and grabbing him by the head and
bulldogging him down to the mat. The fans cheer again as Syren rolls back up,
and as Young gets up she dropkicks him down.
Sharper: “Syren back on her feet and that enziguiri might be a game changer.
Young took that kick straight in the back of his head and it clearly rocked
him.”
Winters: “Young in complete control before that, Syren finally finds the
counter she needs, now what can she do with the momentum?”
Young gets back to his feet and again Syren nails him with a straight shot to
the face before slapping him hard across the chest to another cheer from the
fans. She grabs him and attempts to whip him to the ropes but yet again Young
counters and sends Syren in, but this time Syren anticipates it and springs off
the middle rope before dropping Young with a cross body. She rolls to her feet
and runs off the ropes again, catching Young with a running neckbreaker as he
attempts to get back up and then signals for the crowd who cheer wildly. She
goes to the corner as Young struggles back up. The crowd cheers
again as Syren stands on the apron waiting for Young. He gets back up
and she springs off the top rope before connecting with a forearm right to the
face. She flips back to her feet and blows a kiss to the crowd before quickly
dropping in to the cover.
1…
2…
Sharper: “NO!! Syren with the Beauty Mark, leaving more than just a mark on the
face of Alex Young, but Young kicking out.”
Winters: “The World Champion getting the momentum now though, she’s beginning
to get on a roll, Young’s got to be wondering what happened.”
Syren rolls back to her feet and grabs Young. She pulls him up and nails
another shot to the head. She runs the ropes again but Young catches her and
attempts the belly-to-belly, but somehow Syren flips through the air and lands
on her feet. The fans cheer but Young grabs her before she can do anything else
and lifts her up before dropping her with the Next Gen Neckbreaker. The fans
boo as Syren rolls over in pain. Young sees her rolling toward the corner and
smiles. We cut to the picture in picture again as we see Kennedy smiling
happily. In the main picture we see Young removing the knee pad as Syren crawls
toward the corner. He charges across the ring and smashes Syren in the side of
the head with a exposed knee. Syren grabs her head in
pain and Young grabs her by the leg and pulls her out of the corner as we see
Kennedy counting along with the pin.
1…
2…
Kennedy counts three by the referee doesn’t as Syren kicks out. Kennedy looks
disappointed as we return to the main picture and Young looks up at the referee
angrily, telling him that he didn’t count quickly enough. The referee once
again reiterates that it was two.
Sharper: “Oh damn, the Future Shock in the corner and that was a shock for
Syren. She may be out, that kick out had to be on instinct alone.”
Winters: “Syren barely moving since that shot, and we saw Kennedy in the back
and she thought this was over. The fact that she’s still going shows the toughness
of the World Champion right here.”
Young continues arguing with the referee for a second before shaking his head
and telling him it won’t matter anyway. Young signals that it’s all over. He
grabs Syren and pulls her up facing away from him before wrapping his arm
around her neck. He then lifts her up backwards, looking for the Youthanasia
but Syren surprises him by kneeing him in the head. Young almost loses his
balance and Syren knees him in the head a second time to get him to drop her.
Young holds his head as she staggers to the corner and Syren rolls back to the
opposite corner. Young recovers and charges across the ring and Syren moves out
of the way at the last second. Young misses his shot in the corner and goes
through the turnbuckles, his shoulder hitting the ring post before he falls all
the way out of the ring. The fans cheer but Syren is still down in the ring.
Sharper: “Well we said that that knee did some damage, and Syren looked out of
it. Young thought he had it but that was a fantastic counter as Young had her
upside down.”
Winters: “Great way to fight out of what we’ve seen can be a devastating move
by Alex Young. Young misses his shot in the corner and now he may be hurt on
the outside.”
Young rolls about on the outside. He grabs the ring apron to pull himself back
up. In the ring Syren is struggling as well. Young gets back in to the ring,
clearly favouring the shoulder, and charges at Syren, knocking her down from
behind. He grabs her and picks her up before showing impressive technique as he
snaps off a powerbomb. Syren lands on the back of her head and immediately
grabs her head. Young drops in to the cover.
1…
2…
Sharper: “NO!!! Young thought he saw a chance, he went for something we don’t
see out of him much, using that extra power he has to powerbomb Syren straight
to the mat.”
Winters: “That’s what we talked about early on, the power game of Young against
the much smaller World Champion. He needs to follow up though, Syren may have
kicked out but she’s still holding her head in all kinds of pain.”
Young looks at the referee again. The referee once again insists it was only
two. Young shakes his head and grabs Syren. He pulls her up and looks to hit
the Upper Class Slam but Syren is able to slip off his shoulders, but not able
to do much more as Young catches her in the gut with a knee with the exposed
knee that doubles her over. Young looks angry before he nails her in the head
and she drops back down to the mat.
Sharper: “Young trying for another of his signature moves but again Syren had
it scouted. She’s obviously done her homework. What do you do right now if
you’re him, Shawn?”
Winters: “You either wear her down some more, or you go for something she’s not
seen. We’ve seen Young has the ability to surprise her. If he could hit one more big move…”
Young looks angry for a moment before he sees Syren down on the mat and
struggling to get up and a smile comes across his face. He backs away and
taunts in a way similar to Kennedy Street. The fans boo. Young then runs at Syren
as she pushes herself up and goes for Kennedy Street’s ‘Pedicure’ but Syren
rolls out of the way and Young stomps nothing. Syren rolls to the ropes and
then runs at Young and nails a running double-foot dropkick that sends Young
flying backwards off his feet. The fans cheer and Syren rolls to the apron.
Young gets back to his feet and Syren springs off the apron, spinning in midair
before catching Young and spinning around again to hit the Beauty Spot, spiking
Young on his head in the process. The fans cheer as Syren gets back to her
knees, looking exhausted.
Sharper: “OH!! Young saw a chance, he was going to try and end this with a
Kennedy Street move, but Syren rolling out of the way and then that DDT just
SPIKED Young.”
Winters: “She needs to cover. She needs to get on top of him and cover him
right now, Young doesn’t even know where he is.”
Sharper: “Syren clearly exhausted after this match, but she’s got something
else in mind I think…”
Syren stays on her knees for a moment watching Alex holding his head and then
she looks up at the stage and smiles before kissing her hand and blowing the
kiss toward the stage. She gets back to her feet as Young struggles up and she
spins him around and drops him with the Total Makeover. Clearly exhausted Syren
drops in to the cover but hooks both the legs.

3!!!
“Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system as Syren rolls off and Young
rolls over holding his head. Syren holds the back of her head in pain before
getting back to her feet. The referee hands her the World title and she raises
it up over her head as the crowd cheers and she lets out a happy scream.
Sharper: “What a match! Alex Young absolutely taking it to the World Champion,
he almost had this one won a few times, I genuinely thought he was going to win
it after that knee or that powerbomb, but Syren fights back.”
Winters: “The World Champion showing what got her to that point, and perhaps
the ending there was a little message about next week.”
Sharper: “We know Kennedy Street was watching, she
can’t have been happy to see Syren fighting back like that.”
We see Kennedy turning the monitor off in the back in disgust before storming
off. In the ring we see Syren standing on the turnbuckles holding up the World
title and pointing out at all the fans before holding her head again in pain.
She jumps down as we see Young on the outside of the ring recovering.
Sharper: “Great match, and so much more still to come, including Kennedy
Street! She may not have been happy with the way this one turned out, but she’s
got a chance to send a message of her own later. That and
much more. Jonathan Knots will join me as Breakdown continues!”
The scene slowly fades to
black.

Wiseman handcuffing Ravyn Taylor before showing James Marsh-Asher nearly
getting the Last Breath on Red Rayne. Shots of CHBK standing with Mikaela
Street, followed by Katie Steward posing and David Helms walking to the ring
The
cameras pan for a few moments before cutting to ringside to show Adam Sharper
and Jonathan Knots at the announce table.
Sharper: “Welcome back here to
Breakdown. Adam Sharper, now joined by Jonathan Knots, and here we are in
Denver. Syren and Alex Young having a hell of a match-“
Knots: “Kennedy doesn’t need
to worry. She’ll show that tonight when she takes Autumn Valentine and stops
her desperate plea for attention.”
Sharper: “We expect to hear
from many more including the SCW United States Champion, Ravyn Taylor and who
knows who else here on Breakdown-“
“Awake and Alive” by Skillet
starts to play. The crowd roars and starts to cheer before we see Shaun Cruze
walk out from the back. He steps out, the SCW World Tag Team Championship over
his shoulder. He then starts to make his way down the rampway towards the ring.
Sharper: “Well I didn’t think
we’d be hearing from Shaun Cruze right now, but looks like one half of the Tag
Champs is going to join us.”
Knots: “But what’s he got a
problem with? Jake Starr? What about Katie Steward? He’s been pretty quiet.”
Sharper: “Meanwhile, Kelcey
Wallace and Chris Cannon are not here. They’re also not in Denver.”
Knots: “That’s interesting. Really interesting.”
Cruze walks over to the ring
and walks up the steel steps and enters the ring. He looks around before
heading over to the ropes and stepping onto the middle rope and holding the
World Tag Team Championship over his head. He looks around and then jumps off
before throwing the title over his shoulder. He then walks over to the corner
and is handed a microphone. He takes it and turns back to the middle of the
ring. He looks around as the crowd cheers.
Cruze: “Another year and
another Trios Tournament has gone past. Last year, I
didn’t enter it…this year, Jake Starr made sure we weren’t going to win it.
Then, you had to go and injure and assault a poor defenseless referee for
making the right decision…”
Cruze just looks down and
shakes his head as the crowd boos.
Cruze: “Jake…I hope to God
that Donovan Kayl gives you the ass-kicking you deserve.”
The crowd cheers as Cruze
looks around. He then stretches out his arm before continuing.
Cruze: “Now, I’d join you in
that war, but I have my own problems to deal with. See, last week, a little
challenge was thrown out to myself and Kelcey Wallace.
The motives of Katie Steward were made clear. You can split hairs about whether
you’re part of Silas’ World or not, but the fact of the matter is that Katie,
you’re as good as in bed with Silas Mason and you’ve made a horrible decision.”
Cruze pauses.
Cruze: “But then this concept
of you standing side by side with someone I’ve had more than a few
conversations with, Sienna Swann, and that she is going to be your new
partner…That just screams desperation to me. But if you want to be the World
Tag Team Champions bad enough, you need to realize that you can’t just hope to
God you’re going to find someone to drag you kicking and screaming to it…You
need to step up and do better and Katie, I know how dangerous you can be. You
handed me a big loss fifteen months ago. And we saw a glimpse of that Katie
Steward at Jealousy. But now, you’ve tossed that away. You’ve gone to your old
tricks and they’re not going to work. How many chances do you need before you
realize it’s not going to happen yet?”
Cruze stops and paces a bit.
Cruze: “As for your challenge
to Kelcey and I for Retribution-“
“Beautiful” starts to play
throughout the arena. The crowd boos and Shaun Cruze stops and turns to the
entrance way. We then see Sienna Swann walk out from the back with Harmony
Fisher. She looks at Shaun Cruze and smiles as she starts to walk to the ring.
The crowd boos her still with some catcalls. She just basks in it as Harmony
follows her down to the ring and Sienna Swann reaches the steel steps and walks
up them. She then looks at Shaun Cruze as she slowly enters. Harmony Fisher
follows her and Sienna Swann walks over to Shaun Cruze and stands right in
front of him. She then says something to him, lowering her head a bit and
looking up at Shaun Cruze before bopping him on the nose.
Sharper: “Sienna Swann coming
out here-“
Knots: “Shut up and just let
her beauty call this moment. Hot damn!”
Sienna then looks at Cruze
before grabbing his hand and the microphone before leaning in a bit closer.
Cruze steps back, but Sienna steps forward again and pulls
the microphone out of his hand. Sienna then looks up at Cruze as Cruze just
stands a step back. Harmony just watches.
Sienna: “What’s wrong
Shaun….Too close for comfort? Thinking about your girlfriend? You know you’re
not. You’re thinking about me Shaun. And all you have to do is say yes and you
can have a Perfect Ten all to yourself, whenever you want.”
Sienna leans in, her mouth
slightly open with a devilish smile.
Sienna: “You’ve wanted it for
the last year. Just you upgraded half way through when you saw me. And Shaun,
you know I’m better than Kelcey is in every way. Better wrestler. More Perfect.”
Sienna steps again right up to
Shaun.
Sienna: “Better impact.”
Sienna leans in, clearly
getting as close to Shaun as possible.
Sienna: “Come on…you know you
want to give in. Have what you’ve always wanted. All you have to do is give me
what I want, Shaun. That…that would be the PERFECT impact.”
Sienna’s hand starts to wander
as she runs her hand down the arm of Shaun.
Sienna: “All you have to do is
say yes. That’s right Shaunie….Yes means yes…”
Cruze then steps back, putting
his hand up. Shaun just shakes his head. He can then be seen saying no.”
Sienna: “That’s a shame
Shaun…We could’ve had something special. You could’ve had everything you wanted
and more. Now, all that’s left is for me to get what I want.”
Sienna then turns to nail
Shaun. Shaun however blocks it and then just swats her arm down. He drops his
title. Harmony runs at Shaun and Shaun turns and nails Harmony with a hard
right and then another. Sienna Swann backs up and to the corner.
Sharper: “Sienna went for it.
Cruze saw it coming and now Harmony and Cruze trading blows.”
Knots: “Where the hell is B.Real?!
He should be protecting Sienna!”
Sharper: “What’s Silas?!”
She then leans back as Harmony
falls to the ropes. Shaun grabs her and whips her into the ropes. We then see
Gigi Steward, TJ Johnson and Katie Steward running down from the back. Harmony bounces
off and Shaun Cruze turns and throws Harmony out of the ring. Gigi runs into
the ring and Katie runs around the ring. Gigi gets up and Cruze turns and grabs
her and throws her out of the ring before he spins around, trying to get his
eyes on everyone and Sienna lunges forward, taking her shot and catches Cruze
with the Kiss of an Angel. Shaun hits the mat and rolls over, holding his face
in pain.
Sharper: “Damn it!”
Knots: “Yes! Kiss of an Angel!
You could’ve been kissing her another way if you played your cards right Cruze,
but you screwed up again!”
Sienna walks around the ring,
smiling as she then poses over Shaun. Katie then rolls into the ring. Gigi gets
up on the floor as Harmony does too. Gigi then enters into the ring as Katie
Steward enters in too.
Sharper: “And now Katie
Steward entering. Gigi Steward back in.”
Knots: “Oh this is going to be
PERFECT!”
Harmony gets up and looks at
Cruze as Gigi walks over and grabs Cruze as he holds his face. The crowd boos
and Katie Steward just walks over to him and holds him too with Gigi’s head.
Harmony also helps out as Sienna Swann just keeps looking on. Katie looks
around the arena as she locks in the double underhooks on Shaun Cruze. The
crowd boos loudly. Katie then jumps up and drops Shaun Cruze with the Save the
Queen. The crowd boos. Katie Steward then looks down at Shaun. Gigi and Harmony
back up and Katie then rolls Cruze over and Sienna Swann then walks back over.
Sienna: “Shaun…This WILL be your future.”
Katie then looks at Shaun and
smiles as she hooks the leg. TJ then drops down and counts.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd boos as Katie
Steward then pushes the leg down and looks up before getting up.
Sharper: “I don’t believe it.”
Knots: “And Katie Steward just
pinned Shaun Cruze!”
Sienna Swann then grabs
Katie’s arm before turning and TJ Johnson hands Sienna Swann Cruze’s title
belt. She then holds it up with her arm and Katie grabs it too and the two hold
the World Tag Team Championship belt over their heads as they stand over Shaun
Cruze. Harmony Fisher and Gigi Steward watch them and the crowd boos. TJ
Johnson keeps pointing at them.
Knots: “You’re next World Tag
Team Champions!”
Sharper: “Please…nothing has
been agreed to.”
Knots: “Oh it’s going to happen.
After this…if Shaun Cruze says no, then he’s nothing more than a fraud.”
Sharper: “They want it to end.
Kelcey Wallace wants this to end.”
Knots: “And it’s going to
happen on Silas’ terms.”
Sharper: “Give me a break…”
The camera continues to focus on
Katie Steward and Sienna Swann as they pose with the World Tag Team
Championship. Gigi and Harmony watch them, as TJ Johnson keeps pointing at them
trying to get the crowd to cheer, but they’re only greeted with boos. Shaun
Cruze remains down at their feet as the scene fades to black.
COMMERCIAL:
We return to the locker room
of Silas’ World as Harmony walks in with Sienna Swann. Katie, Gigi and TJ are
notably not there. David Helms is already inside and just watches as they walk
in.
Helms: “So was I brought back
to see you destroy Cruze?”
Harmony: “No…just a bonus.”
Helms: “I should-“
Harmony: “No, we need to now
tell you what you’re doing at Retribution?”
Helms looks down.
Helms: “I’m not in the mood-“
Sienna: “Tut-tut…you’re the
one who signed the contract. He just wanted to give me the honours of telling
you your Retribution plans.”
Helms just looks at Sienna unimpressed.
Sienna: “Come on…I can’t be
that bad to look at it. Probably rather deal with me than Silas.”
Sienna giggles.
Helms: “I’m not a fan of
leaving my fiancé when she clearly needs someone to be with her.”
Harmony: “Fine, fine…just tell
him.”
Sienna smiles.
Sienna: “You’ll be doing a
special favour for Silas. You heard Chris’ challenge last week?”
Helms: “About facing Silas? To end this with Kelcey?”
Sienna: “Exactly…”
Helms: “So he wants me in his
corner?”
Harmony: “She’s made you
dumber.”
Sienna: “No, Silas is going to
accept and you’re going to fight for him. And you better win, because if not,
that’s not going to help Regan out too much.”
Helms: “I…I’m not going to get
into th-“
Sienna steps forward and puts
her finger on Helms’ lips.
Helms: “You’re not getting
involved in anything. You’re just following your contract. If you do want to
get into something…I know a place for you to start.”
Sienna smiles as Helms just
glares at her before storming out of the locker room. Sienna just giggles as
Harmony shakes her head and we cut to ringside.
Sharper: “Silas is having
Helms face Chris Cannon for Kelcey to be done with Silas?”
Knots: “Oh…always thinking.
This is going to be fun!”
Darkness engulfs the arena as
we hear the eerie sound of something tapping against glass. After a few moments
there comes a whisper in the sound of a woman’s voice of one short, iconic word
– “NEVERMORE”. With that we hear the opening from “Open Your Eyes” by Guano
Apes.
“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”
The song gets stuck on the word, and is then interrupted by the deep sound of
the voice of Marilyn Manson.
“Just lay your head in daddy’s lap
You’re a bad girl!”
“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as the lights come back up and
we see the screens playing images of Ravyn Taylor’s various antics in and out
of the ring. After a few moments the curtains part and Ravyn steps out on to
the stage with a smirk on her face. The SCW United States Championship is
around her waist. She stops on the stage, twirling for the camera almost
mockingly.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
Dark Fantasy
After a few moments she starts to make her way down to ringside and then steps
up the ring steps, wiping her feet on the apron before vaulting over the top
turnbuckle and rolling back to her feet. She walks over to the far corner of
the ring, stepping on to the middle turnbuckle, looking down at herself with a
look of admiration before stepping off the turnbuckle again.
Knots: “Your United States
Champion and in eleven days, gonna have William Mason unless Cameron Chase gets
a hold of her.”
Sharper: “Well that won’t be a
problem. Ravyn Taylor has been a bit ahead of her the entire time and just think, she was very close to winning the Trios Tournament.
Not the case. But imagine if she had that contract.”
She heads to the corner and
grabs a microphone from the ring apron and turns back around to the middle of
the ring.
Ravyn: “I’m really not sure
what I should be talking about here. I mean, it feels odd that I am standing
here with no reason to be concerned about Cameron Chase coming out of the
shadows and striking me from behind.”
Ravyn pauses before mockingly
turning around and looking behind her.
Ravyn: “Haven’t you noticed
how many individuals elected to not make Denver their homes tonight? Cameron
Chase and William Mason certainly didn’t. I know that some others have been
darting around the issue, but let’s face it. They’re somewhere else hoping to
take advantage of some minor hopes of glory in some other promotion and hoping
that they can turn their careers around. Right William?
That’s where you are right now. Instead of here, in SCW, preparing for your
match against me, you’re at IWC and their pay per view event tonight, hoping
that you can outlast however many others for an opportunity at their World
Championship in a Taking Hold of the Flame ripoff.”
Ravyn smirks as the crowd
boos.
Ravyn: “For someone who just
days ago was talking about how they didn’t deserve anything on twitter, how
they weren’t ready for the World Championship, you’re chasing dragons just for
whatever moronic reason you’ve developed, likely with the help of Cameron, who
clearly is showing to be not only the brains of the operation, but seemingly
the balls too.”
The crowd ohs as Ravyn looks
at the camera.
Ravyn: “She’s the one that at
least realizes that if you’re going to come into this ring with me and not
engage, then you’re screwed, William. But yet, you claim hope. Just like that
hope you had in the Trios Tournament. How did that turn out?”
Ravyn smirks.
Ravyn: “I didn’t win either,
but I came a lot closer and I didn’t have all these grandiose goals of living
up to standards that I wasn’t capable of reaching. No William, it’s funny…you want everything. You want the girl, you want
the title, you want the glory. And yet you’re just
hoping it falls in your lap and now you’re chasing opportunities with no plan.
Cameron had a plan. It wasn’t necessarily a good one. But she had one. Now,
tonight, you don’t take advantage of anything. As I told Cameron last week,
does she expect me to just wait for her to show up and attack me? If she does,
I hope you’re looking at Retribution as your final chance at glory at this
level. Because I’ll snuff it out. Because I always have a plan and that’s
dangerous for you.”
Ravyn Taylor brings the
microphone down as “Bad, Bad Girl” plays throughout the arena. Ravyn Taylor
smirks as the camera focuses on the SCW United States Championship.
Sharper: “The US Championship
is what it’s own. A clear declaration by Ravyn Taylor
tonight.”
Knots: “William Mason, I hope
you’re watching. You too Cameron.”
Sharper: “And in eleven days,
William better be ready.”
The camera focuses on the
title before Ravyn turns and starts to head over to the ropes and steps through
the ropes and drops down to the floor. The crowd boos Ravyn as she continues to
the back.
We open up backstage to see
Tommy Valentine backstage talking to an official backstage before we see Rachel
Foxx walk up to him. Tommy just glances over and steps back slowly.
Tommy: “Pardon me if I’m not
exactly friendly.”
Foxx: “Please…if I wanted to
make a statement, I’d have just taken you out. Nevermind that I think you’re a
disgrace to hold that title.”
Tommy: “Why do I get a sense I
know why you’re here.”
Foxx: “I don’t think you’re
violent enough to do that title justice…at least at this stage of your career.”
Tommy: “If you want a shot,
just ask.”
Foxx: “Oh I’m not going to
ask. I’ll let you figure out whether you want to have one of the longest night of your careers. Because
frankly…Tatum and I want it back.”
Foxx then turns and starts to
head off. Tommy watches her leave as the crowd boos.
COMMERCIAL:
We return to Denver, Colorado
and we open up to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots at ringside at the SCW
announce table.
Sharper: “Welcome back to
Breakdown, ladies and gentlemen. Adam Sharper here with
Jonathan Knots in Denver. In a few moments, we’re going to see Donovan
Kayl in action and Donovan Kayl has been very critical of Jake Starr as of
late.”
Knots: “Well everyone has been,
but he’s been stepping up to take him on, even taking a few chair shots and a
shot right below the belt in this.”
Sharper: “But meanwhile,
there’s been another wrinkle to this. Jake Starr made some comments to Donovan
Kayl’s students at Jealousy. He arranged for members of his Youth of a Nation
Wrestling School to be at ringside and this past week, Donovan Kayl made a
statement to his students about the situation as of late and how to properly
make it in this business.”
YOUTH OF A NATION ACADEMY – EARLIER THIS WEEK:
The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. Inside the
YoaN Wrestling Academy, a group of the students have already left following
their workouts for the day, however a few remain. Inside the ring, still
showing off her high-flying moves is Felicity Lansing. On the floor, in the
middle of a continued spar, are Yuri Bryzgalov and Robbie Tanner. As they
break, a chair comes flying into the scene, landing
between the two. They jump back.
Tanner: “What the…?”
Donovan Kayl steps into the scene, approaching the chair. He reaches down,
pulling it up.
Bryzgalov: “Mr. Kayl, was there a purpose behind throwing the chair between
us?”
Kayl: “Let me show you…”
Kayl lifts the chair, going to swing it at Bryzgalov’s head. Yuri gets his
hands up in time, but Kayl stops the chair before connecting.
Tanner: “Have you gone off the deep end?”
Lansing: “What’s going on over there?”
Lansing hops off the top rope, moving to the floor where the three men are.
Kayl turns and tosses the chair in her direction. She catches it in front of
her face. Kayl swings a fist in the chair’s direction, but stops short of
hitting it. He lightly pushes the chair, and Lansing takes a step back with it
in her hand.
Bryzgalov: “Sir… what is this about?”
Kayl: “These chairs can make every bit of difference, and I want you to be
prepared any time you see one for any possibility. You never know… you could
have some cowardly jackass…”
Unbeknownst to the three, Kayl has subtly reached out and retrieved the chair
from Felicity.
Kayl: “Take a swing at you at random…”
He swings around at Tanner, who drops to his ass, backing away. Kayl, however,
holds the chair sturdy.
Kayl: “The next guy who swings a chair at your head will follow through. You
have to be ready. What do you do if…”
Kayl spins around again, going to drive the end of the chair into Bryzgalov’s
midsection, but Bryzgalov catches the chair, pulling it away from Kayl. Kayl smiles.
Kayl: “Good. The way to deal with a chair-swinging coward is to disarm him…
then swarm him while he’s trying to figure out what to do next.”
Tanner: “And if he tries to kick you in the balls?”
Kayl smirks, then grimaces, then smirks again.
Kayl: “Then he’s a dick who doesn’t deserve respect? I don’t really know how to
answer that one. The important thing, however, is knowing
that being the coward who uses the chairs to get ahead ultimately won’t. Sure,
you might get attention. You might get some main event attention, for that
matter. But in the end, your colour will run yellow and you’ll be exposed.”
Lansing: “Does this have anything to do with your match with Jake Starr?”
Kayl pauses before he looks over to Felicity and smiles, tapping his nose.
Kayl: “Don’t lower yourself to that. Be better than that. Disarm and swarm.
Remember…”
Kayl turns and walks away from his students. Bryzgalov hands the chair off to
Tanner, who looks at it.
Tanner: “Disarm and swarm… we can do that.”
Tanner smirks, smacking Bryzgalov on the chest. Lansing steps over and takes
the chair. The three students look to Kayl as he leaves. The Breakdown logo
comes up on the screen.
Knots: “He’s lost it.”
Sharper: “An interesting way
of making his statement, but one I happen to agree with, despite the method.”
Standing Room Only vs. Ignition
We open up to see in the ring
Casey Turbo stretching with the ropes. T.Y. Jackson stands on the floor.
Sharper: “Casey Turbo of the
team Ignition in the ring. He’s ready to go. About to face
off against Donovan Kayl.”
Knots: “He better not have lost it then. The last thing he needs with that jackass
Jake Starr watching him is to lose here against this kid.”
"Epic" by Faith No
More starts to play as the spotlight focuses on the top of the ramp.
Immediately, the crowd rise to their feet in a raucous ovation. Stepping out to
the top of the ramp is "The Cornerstone" Donovan Kayl. He steps to
the side, facing out to the crowd. After turning his head to survey the entire
crowd, he turns to face the front of the ramp, beginning to walk out towards
the ring. Kayl keeps his eyes focused on the ring ahead, and with a stoic gaze
in his eyes, slaps the hands of a few fans at ringside.
It's cryin'
Bleedin'
Lying on the floor
So you lay down on it and you do it some more
You've got to share it
So you dare it
Then you bare it
And you tear it
Once he gets to the bottom of the ramp, Donovan pulls himself up onto the
apron, walking over to the corner. He climbs up onto the second rope, looking
out over the crowd, until the second chorus hits...
You want it all but you can't have it
It's in your face but you can't grab it
Kayl throws his arms up for the roaring crowd, shouting out something that's
just impossible to hear outside of the first couple of rows nearby. He hops the
top rope into the ring, moving to the middle where he spins once, dropping to a
knee and shooting his arms out. He drops his head as the crowd showers the ring
with streamers, cascading down around him as he looks at the ring under his
knee before raising his head upward slowly.
Sharper: “Donovan Kayl looks
focused. At Retribution, he will face Jake Starr one on one.”
Knots: “And I’m sure we’ll
hear from Jake Starr.”
Sharper: “Not tonight. Jake’s
been suspended thanks to his cowardly assault on that referee at Supreme
Saturday!”
The bell sounds. Donovan Kayl
turns his attention to Casey Turbo. The two watch one another and Kayl moves
towards him. Turbo backs up and Kayl goes after him and grabs him and goes to
grapple him, but Turbo quickly retreats to the corner. Kayl holds him there
before lifting his arms and backing up as the referee calls for the break. Kayl
backs up and Turbo walks along the ropes. He then turns and lunges towards Kayl
and goes for the leg. Kayl blocks it and catches Turbo and clubs him in the
back. He clubs him again and then chops him. The crowd woos. Turbo falls back
to the ropes. Kayl chops him again. Another set of woos come from the crowd.
Kayl grabs him and whips him across the ring. Turbo bounces off and Kayl lifts
him up on the rebound, but Turbo spins through and Kayl turns and Turbo catches
him with a dropkick.
Sharper: “Quick dropkick.
Turbo has Kayl down.”
Knots: “And he’s going for the
pin.”
Turbo goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Kayl kicks out. Turbo gets up
and Kayl starts to pull himself up. Turbo turns to Kayl and forearms him. He
then forearms him again. He turns and whips Kayl into the corner. Kayl hits the
corner. Turbo runs after him and jumps up for a running clothesline. Kayl moves
out of the way. Turbo hits the corner and Kayl spins through and rolls him up
with a school boy.
1!
2!
Turbo kicks out. Both get up
and Kayl clotheslines him down. Turbo gets back up and Kayl scoops him up and
hits a backbreaker. He then goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Turbo kicks out again. Jackson
cheers on Turbo. Kayl turns to him and drags him up and turns before whipping
him into the ropes. Turbo bounces off and Kayl goes for a clothesline, but
Turbo ducks. Kayl turns around and Turbo jumps up and hits an enziguri kick.
Kayl falls to a knee. Turbo then gets up and runs over to the corner and climbs
up to the top rope quickly. The crowd roars. He dives back, going for a
moonsault, but Kayl just walks out of the way. Turbo crashes to the mat.
Sharper: “Moonsault, but no
one home!”
Knots: “Kayl just walked out
of the way. Turbo misjudged how much he caught Kayl with that kick.”
Turbo slowly gets up, holding
his ribs. Kayl turns back and kicks him in the ribs. He then hooks him up and
hits a snap suplex. Turbo winces and turns. Kayl grabs Turbo and drags him up
before placing him in the ropes. Kayl then fires him across. Turbo bounces off
and Kayl scoops him up and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Turbo rolls over,
holding his back in pain. Kayl looks out and then gets up to his feet before turning
to Turbo. He drags him up and hooks him up in a front face lock. He then hoists
him up before throwing him forward. Kayl runs into the ropes, bounces off and
drills Turbo with the Point Blank. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “And just like that. The hard landing on the knees. The vicious
knee.”
Knots: “Not a good way to go anyway.
On the knees. The knee to the face.
Good night! I hope one of those is in Jake Starr’s future!”
Donovan Kayl goes for the pin.
1!
2!
3!
Donovan Kayl gets up and the
referee comes over and raises his arm. Donovan Kayl looks out at the crowd as
“Epic” plays throughout the arena.
Sharper: “A win here tonight. Some more momentum. Eleven days though, Jake Starr will be
his focus.”
Knots: “And he’ll have a lot
of people cheering him on.”
Donovan Kayl just enjoys the
reaction as the crowd cheers him. He looks over at Casey Turbo as he stirs.
T.Y. Jackson enters the ring and goes to check on Turbo. Kayl turns and exits
the ring and drops down to the floor. He then starts to make his way to the
back as we cut away.
We open up backstage to see
Dylan Howell storming down the hallway and heading towards the office of Mr. D.
He barges in and immediately starts to lash into the boss.
Howell: “What the hell is
this? You’re now giving away title shots and I’m overlooked again. This is
starting to get ridiculous.”
Mr. D just looks at Dylan.
Howell: “I could probably take
all four on and beat them all-“
Mr. D: “That’s a great idea.”
Howell looks around surprised.
Howell: “What are you talking
about?”
Mr. D: “You gave me a great
idea. If you do beat them all, I’ll add you to the match.”
Howell: “Wait? What?”
Mr. D: “Next week on
Breakdown, we’ll hold a gauntlet. I think I’ve booked James, but it’ll give you
a bit of an edge.”
Howell: “All four? How the
hell-“
Mr. D: “You said it. You could
do it. I’m letting you have a chance to impress me. Now, go…call your wife and
tell her the good news. You may get a US Title shot!”
Howell: “Yeah, BS….”
Howell turns and storms off,
stunned by that interaction. Mr. D waits for him to leave. He then chuckles.
Mr. D: “I may have already
booked him too…next week should be fun.”
Mr. D chuckles a bit more as
the scene fades to black.

We open up backstage to see
Marisa Condolesa standing with James Marsh-Asher in the backstage area.
Condolesa: “Welcome backstage
here. I’m with James Marsh-Asher and quietly, it’s been announced that we’re
going to crown a new number one contender to the SCW United States Championship
at Retribution. You will be facing Simon Lyman, Alex Young and Gable Winchester
for this opportunity. What are your thoughts?”
Marsh-Asher: “In one sense I’m
disappointed. I would have rather gotten my hands on Matt Auclair since he’s
been nicely suggesting that he kicked my ass after the show a few weeks ago
when we were bumped. But that’s not the case. Tatum Lee has that opportunity
and that’s all well and good. I’ll get my shot soon enough at him. But I’m not
disappointed that I get a chance to gain some traction. That I get a chance to
win SCW gold again and against some of the finest wrestlers in this company.”
Marsh-Asher pauses.
Marsh-Asher: “I just hope that
Gable or Lyman or even Alex Young who despite a hell of a match,
wasn’t able to beat Syren…I hope none of them are hoping to use this as an
opportunity to springboard back to title contention. Sorry, that’s the
competitor in me and I will do anything I can to win. I have three others to
beat. If I have to go through all three to win, I will.”
Condolesa: “That you James
Marsh-Asher. Back to ringside.”
We cut away.
The lights flicker flow by
bright flashes of light. Footage is shown on the gigantic screen, flashes of
Xander Valentine, throwing punches against shadows and black and white clips of
his dominance in the ring. As the video plays, the chords of
Metallica's “Fade to Black” begins to crackle upon the sound system. Not
soon, the interlude is cut short as the lyrics begins to ring out:
“Life it seems, will fade away
Drifting further every day
Getting lost within myself
Nothing matters no one else
I have lost the will to live
Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
Need the end to set me free”
A looming shadow of a man emerges at the curtains with his back turned towards
the crowd. Small pyro display, bright and white, flare up
behind him. He kicks his leg around to pivot on the other foot, stepping
through the display. Xander steps forward without seeming to be affected by the
glorified sparklers. He steps to the front of the stage where he scans the
landscape. There's nothing but seriousness painted across his weathered face as
the crowd grants him an enormous response.
Things not what they used to be
Missing one inside of me
Deathly lost, this Can t be real
Cannot stand this hell I feel
Emptiness is filling me
To the point of agony
Growing darkness taking dawn
I was me, but now he 's gone
Xander has already began his march down the entrance ramp. His heavy leather
boots stomp against the metal ramp. Arms dart out from the crowd but Xander
bats down any that crosses his path. He doesn't look at the fans, only at the
ring. He steps up to the ring as the guitar riffs begins to consume the center
stage of his theme. He pauses. Then in a single bound he leaps up onto the
apron, before stepping into the ring. As the track continues, Xander climbs up
onto one of the turnbuckle and throws his fist up into the crowd, getting
another loud response. Afterward, he steps off, and demands a microphone.
Sharper: “Xander Valentine
joining us here and he’s asking for a microphone.”
Knots: “He and Shilo threw
some shots at one another. That’s far from over. Maybe he’s out to deal with
that.”
Sharper: “Hudson too and we
know Hudson is here.”
Xander’s handed one and he
walks around the ring as the crowd boos him. He just looks around and scoffs a
bit before just listening to the boos for a few
moments. He then brings the microphone to his mouth.
Xander: “Get it all out. I
don’t care what any of you think of me.”
The crowd boos some more.
Xander just looks down and paces a bit. He lets it continue for a few moments
before then looking up.
Xander: “Are we done? Because I have a few things to talk about here tonight.”
The crowd boos some more.
Xander: “See, a couple of days
ago, Shilo and I had another conversation and run-in with one another. Now,
sure, his team may have managed to get past mine. Good for him. It didn’t get
him his Trios Contract. It didn’t lead to anything except that he once again
came up short, just like he did against me. See, Shilo likes to think that he’s
still as good as he once was. He wanted me to jump start his career again, but
not everyone is like me Shilo. Not everyone can take as much time as they want,
come back and dominate!”
The crowd boos some more as
Xander looks around.
Xander: “That’s what you were
hoping to do. You wanted to challenge me, get me to face you and then use it as
an opportunity to pump yourself up. It had nothing to do with entertainment. It
had everything to do with getting all of the spotlight
back on your sorry ass.”
Xander pauses as he shakes his
head.
Xander: “And how did that turn
out? I know, you can stand there and talk about Josh Hudson. You can play your
games and show up with the spotlight shining down. That’s all well and good,
but you know I was about to make you Fade to Black and Josh Hudson saved your
ass.”
The crowd boos. Xander looks
around.
Xander: “Don’t deny it!”
More boos greet Xander.
Xander: “So Shilo, with that
all said, I think it’s time for me to move on and instead I think Josh Hudson
deserves my focus. I mean he’s clearly wanting a shot at me, even taking a
cheap shot at me a couple of weeks ago. So I suggest that at Retribution, Josh,
you and I go one on one one more time. Don’t worry Josh,
it’ll be short and sweet. I’ll knock you around the ring, all of your little
tag lines about being better, stronger, faster…it will
be nothing because I’ll leave you laying. This isn’t 2005. No upsets this time.
Just you being upset about the fact that I will expose
you just like I did Shilo. Again…no one can leave and come back to dominate
like me. And Josh, you’ll find that out-“
“Just When You Thought It Was
Over" can be heard throughout the arena, as it echoes through the PA
system and then it breaks into “Something Different.” Xander
turn to the entrance way and glares. Out from the back steps none other
than Josh Hudson. He stops atop the entrance ramp, and looks out into the crowd
and nods his head yes, and then begins to head down to the ring.
Sharper: “And there’s Josh
Hudson. We told you he was here.”
Knots: “I guess he’s going to
get his ass kicked now!”
Sharper: “Or he’s going to see
if Xander is this confident to his face!”
He embraces the various cheers
before walking down the ramp with a smirk on his face. He continues to slowly
make his way to the ring, a look of determination on his face as he slides
underneath the ropes. He then walks over to Xander Valentine. Xander just
smirks as he looks at Hudson. Hudson watches him and looks him in the eye as
Xander brings the microphone up to his face.
Xander: “Well you decided to
show up, Josh. Maybe this time we can have a discussion with you needing sucker
punch me or are you going to show that you’re also more of a jackass than you
were before.”
Xander glares at Hudson as
Hudson just scoffs and nods a bit.
Xander: “So I’ll make this
simple since we knows if after all of the beatings you’ve taken you can figure
this out…You…me…Retribution. One on one.”
Xander then shoves the
microphone into the chest of Hudson. Hudson just looks at it before grabbing it
and looking up at Xander. Xander then steps back and leans against the ropes.
Hudson looks at Xander before responding.
Hudson: “Sorry Xander, but I
want to kick your ass…and Shilo’s. All or nothing.”
The crowd cheers as Hudson
looks at Xander.
Hudson: “So you better be
ready for a long night Xander, because it’s looking like you’re going to need
to write some cheques and hope you can cash em.”
Hudson then tosses the
microphone back towards Xander. Xander juggles it a moment before holding on.
Hudson the n backs up and drops down to the mat. He rolls to the floor and
makes his way to the back. The crowd cheers as Hudson’s music plays. Xander
just looks at him.
Xander: “That’s what you want?
Fine…I’ll kick both your asses one more time!”
Xander brings the microphone
down as Hudson ignores Valentine and continues on his way to the back.
Sharper: “Xander wanted just
Hudson. Hudson wants both Xander and Shilo. And he’s going to get that.”
Knots: “God…still dumb as
bricks and taking one the world.”
Sharper: “Xander better look
out. He’s not exactly making friends with either!”
Xander just watches as Hudson
continues to the back.
Just then, we open up
backstage to see Tommy Valentine and Matt Auclair trading blows backstage. The
crowd roars and Matt Auclair forearms Valentine as Tommy forearms him and then
grabs him and runs him over into one of the walls. Matt falls
back and staggers back and Tommy runs at him and forearms him before
again. Tommy grabs him and just then we see Auclair forearms him a few times as
Tommy tries to headlock him.
Sharper: “Tommy Valentine, the
Underground Champion is struggling with Matt Auclair!”
Knots: “I guess having Rachel
Foxx on his tail isn’t enough.”
Sharper: “Auclair going after
him though…Tatum Lee, Rachel Frost returning to her original name, isn’t here.
Maybe he’s making a play!”
Auclair forearms him again and
then cuffs him in the back of the head. He turns and throws him into the wall
and then again before we see a couple of guards down the hallway. They start to
head their way and Auclair turns and grabs Tommy and turns before throwing him
at the guards, knocking them down. Two other guards step over and Auclair then
nails one in the ribs before we then see the door behind them open up and Red
Rayne steps out and nails the other guard with a shot.
Sharper: “Wait a minute! Wait
a minute!”
Knots: “Oh God! They’re by
Rayne’s locker room!”
Sharper: “And it’s only Rayne
there tonight from what I’m being told, but look out!”
Tommy starts to get up and
looks at Rayne before swinging towards her, but Auclair lunges and cuffs him
with a clothesline, knocking him down. Red Rayne then turns and looks at Tommy
Valentine before Auclair walks back over and pulls him up. He holds him up and
he struggles as Red Rayne traces his face with her fingers before kicking him
in the chest and then again and again.
Rayne: “Excellent work, Matt…”
Auclair just grunts as he
grabs Tommy and drags him up and turns before throwing him into the concrete
wall. Tommy falls back and Rayne steps forward and mounts him, nailing him with
repeated hard rights. Tommy tries to cover up but with limited effect. Auclair
stomps him in the legs as she does. One of the guards starts to get up and
Auclair then steps over Tommy and Red Rayne and nails one with a hard right and
then another, making sure they stay down. He shoves over the cameraman too just
for good measure.
Sharper: “This is a calculated
assault here.”
Knots: “Well less security,
but one man who is going to do anything for Rayne it looks like!”
Sharper: “The cameraman down.
God…”
Red Rayne gets up as Tommy
swings, trying to connect as he rolls over, but misses. Red Rayne then grabs
him and kicks him in the ribs. Auclair storms over and clubs him in the back
before we see Rachel Foxx come into view and nail Auclair in the back with a
sledgehammer. The crowd roars. Auclair falls over and Foxx then turns to Red
Rayne. Rayne and her lock eyes.
Sharper: “Foxx! Foxx coming and just nailed Auclair.”
Knots: “Oh God…we need to get
people there. We could have a bloodbath on our hands.”
Rayne just smirks a bit and
Foxx then swings with the sledgehammer and Red Rayne ducks. She swings again
and Rayne backs up. Foxx then just throws it at her, but Rayne ducks and then
runs at Foxx and goes to tackle her back. Foxx is speared into the wall and Red
Rayne reaches up and starts to try and choke her, but her fingers get up too
high and Foxx starts to bite at Rayne’s fingers. Rayne yells out a bit and
pulls away. She hits a straight kick and shakes out her hand before turning
back to Foxx and Foxx nails her with a kick to the ribs before nailing her with
a couple of shots. Red Rayne falls to the wall and Foxx stands over her to
attack her but Auclair then gets up and forearms her in the back, driving Foxx
forward to the wall. She staggers back and Auclair holds her up before Red
Rayne looks up and then drills her in the heart with the Redrum. Foxx falls to
the ground before Auclair just stands over her and then stomps Tommy for good
measure. Red Rayne looks at her as the crowd boos. We then see several
officials coming into the view with additional security. They give space as Red
Rayne and Auclair just look around at them. Merrick Wiseman then arrives and
starts to tell them to get the back.
Wiseman: “Get them back. Into their room.”
Some of the official looks
unsure, but Red Rayne just chuckles before turning and walking back into her
locker room herself. Auclair then watches her before following her into her
locker room too. The officials run over to check on Tommy and Foxx as the
guards head over and pull the door closed. Wiseman just looks around and sighs
as he oversees the situation and we head to black.
COMMERCIAL:
We open up backstage to see
Dawn Lohan with Jessica Winters at the SCW Interview area.
Jessica: “Welcome back to
Breakdown. We just saw Red Rayne and Matt Auclair orchestrate an assault on the
SCW Underground Champion and Rachel Foxx. Both are being checked on by
officials and Red Rayne and Matt Auclair have been locked in their locker room.
I am here with Dawn Lohan and Dawn, you’ll be facing
and challenging Red Rayne for the SCW Adrenaline Championship at Retribution
when the semi-finals and finals of the Shot of Adrenaline take place.”
Dawn: “And if Red Rayne wants
to add more people to her list of people who want to see her fail, go for it.
I’m not caring too much about what happens to Foxx or Valentine. As for
Auclair, I have to trust that Tatum will take Auclair out.”
Dawn pauses.
Dawn: “My focus is on Red
Rayne and beating her for the SCW Adrenaline Championship. Then I just have to
hope that Selena Frost has something left in the tank after Angelica Jones took
her out last week because that’s what this is all about for me. It’s not just
the Adrenaline Title or being the first Shot of Adrenaline winner. It’s about
getting my hands on Selena and showing her that she is not better than me and
showing her that hell hath no fury like Dawn Lohan…This has been building up
for months and I will get my chance on Selena. She’s not screwing this
up…Selena OR Dawn.”
Jessica: “Thank you for your
comments. Back to ringside.”
We then cut to ringside.
Autumn Valentine vs. Kennedy
Street
The lights dim slightly and
the spotlights point down at the stage as the fans quieten in expectation. A
woman whispering can be heard across the PA system.
“Don’t bless me father, for I
have sinned...”
“Miss Nothing” by The Pretty Reckless begins playing across the PA system as
the fans erupt in cheers. As the cheers continue to ring out
Autumn Valentine walks through the curtain wearing a pink ring-jacket with the
words DARK FANTASY on the back, spinning around on the stage before holding her
arms out to the side and posing on the stage, enjoying the reaction of the
fans. Christy Matthews walks out with her, holding the SCW Women’s
Championship.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
Dark Fantasy
Autumn grins at the camera before blowing it a kiss and skipping down to the
ring, Christy following her. Autumn jumps on to the ring apron and climbs up on
to the ropes, sitting on the top rope for a second before flipping over and
landing on her feet in the ring. She runs to the furthest corner and leaps up,
raising her arms in to the air and further enjoying the reaction of the fans
before again flipping out of the corner and landing on her feet. She circles
the ring before walking to the opposite side and posing on the ropes, one foot
on the bottom rope and one on the middle rope. She takes off the ring jacket
before putting it in her corner. Christy watches the entrance way as she stands
in Autumn’s corner.
Sharper: “This match was
established throughout the night. Autumn took issue with Kennedy Street’s
flippant remarks regarding the Women’s Champion.”
Knots: “Look. Autumn needs to
relax. The fact of the matter is that Kennedy is just reminding everyone that
she’s different and better than every other woman who has come out here. She’s
the best woman, best Street, best wrestler. She’ll prove it this Sunday.
Autumn’s going to have to just accept it!”
"Criticize” by Adelita’s
Way plays throughout the arena as a robed Kennedy Street slowly comes out from
the back. She stands in the entrance way, looking down, then up and out into
the arena. Kennedy then drops the rope showing off her beautiful body in her
wrestling gear that leaves little to the imagination. Kennedy cracks a sexy smirks. She raises her right arm in the air looking
up into the rafters as the shower of fireworks rain down behind her.....
Carlos quickly comes out and begins to drop rose petals on the ground Kennedy
walks on while the monstrous Maximilian follows behind. The crowd boos as she
looks over to the fans and smirks, interacting with them, posing along the way
to entice them a bit by blowing kisses and shaking her ass....
She arrives at the apron, Maximilian lifts her up on the apron, Carlos rolls in
and continues to throw rose petals on the ground Keenie walks on as she steps
through the ropes stopping for a second and looks out biting the bottom of her
lip and stroking the ropes as she gets into the ring taking her time. She walks
to the ropes and climbs to the second turnbuckle and looks around smiling while
posing for the flash photography. Kennedy jumps down smiling to the crowd and
waves her hair to the side as she stands in the corner, extending her long
muscular legs, waving her opponent and referee off as she does her pre-match
stretches. After she is done Kennedy pulls up her knee pads and places them
firmly on her knees, flings back her long blonde hair and turns around to lean
against the corner signaling the referee to come over. Kennedy then kisses the
referee on the cheek and winks at him as she awaits the start of the match
while Maximilian stands in her corner and Carlos sits with the timekeeper.
Sharper: “Kennedy Street
taking her time. She know she’s got that large man
there who has already manhandled Autumn Valentine tonight.”
Knots: “Autumn would’ve
probably tried for a cheap shot. She’s a little cheater like that. Kennedy’s
now got a man in her corner who is going to make sure
that doesn’t happen. If you want to face Kennedy, you face her head to head and
that’s the first step to failure! She’s going to win!”
Kennedy looks at Autumn as Autumn continues to just stare a hole through
Kennedy. The referee calls for the bell. It sounds and Autumn
starts to head after Kennedy, but Kennedy immediately steps through the ropes
and drops down to the floor. She slowly starts to walk around. Autumn just
glares at her before quickly stepping through the ropes. Christy warns her and
Kennedy turns back and notices her. She starts to run around the ring. Autumn
runs after her. (1) Kennedy continues to run around and Christy steps over to
obstruct. Kennedy stops and Christy points to the ring. (2) We then see
Maximilian walking around the ring. Autumn just comes up behind Autumn and grabs Kennedy and goes to roll her into the ring.
Maximilian lets her and then steps forward and shoves Autumn
back. Autumn backs up with Christy. The referee tells Maximilian to get away
from the ring.
Sharper: “Maximilian,
Kennedy’s guard, stopping Autumn from continuing the
offense!”
Knots: “Well she went to take
a break and she wouldn’t let her!”
Sharper: “There are no time
outs Jon!”
Knots: “There should be for
Keenie. Look at her. We need to stop and admire her beauty!”
Maximilian slowly moves aside
as he looks at the ring. Autumn then turns and looks at Kennedy. Kennedy tells
her to come into the ring. The referee restarts his count as Maximilian backs
away and walks around the ring. The crowd boos him. (1) Autumn turns to Christy
and shakes her head. (2) She turns and rolls into the ring. Kennedy immediately
runs over and stomps Autumn in the back of the head
and then again and again. The crowd boos. Autumn tries to get to the ropes as
she moves with each shot. Kennedy then steps on her head and just pushes down.
The referee counts for the break.

Kennedy steps off and walks
around the ring. She smiles as she poses again, gaining boos from the crowd.
Autumn grabs at the ropes, starting to slowly get herself
up. Kennedy then runs after Autumn and quickly drills
her with a clothesline, knocking her over the top rope and to the floor.
Christy steps back with the referee’s urging as Kennedy then backs up and goes
back to the middle of the ring.
Sharper: “Hard clothesline and
back to the floor goes Autumn!”
Knots: “Back where she
belongs.”
Sharper: “And what is Kennedy
Street doing?”
Knots: “Anything she wants.”
Kennedy poses again in the
middle of the ring as the crowd boos some more while some others catcall her.
She just smiles as Autumn slowly gets up on the floor.
(1) Autumn Valentine gets up and looks up at the ring to see Kennedy posing.
(2) She storms to the ring and slides in and Kennedy turns and stomps her
again. Autumn falls back to the mat and Kennedy stomps her again and again and
again. The crowd boos some more as Kennedy then grabs Autumn
and drags her up before forearming her and pushing her into the corner. Kennedy
then places her boot against Autumn’s chin and throat
and pushes off. The crowd boos as the referee calls for the break of the foot
choke.

Kennedy steps off and Autumn falls to her knees. Kennedy walks around before
walking back and Autumn starts to get up and Kennedy
snapmares her down and kicks her in the back. Autumn rolls over in pain.
Sharper: “Kennedy all over
Autumn Valentine. She’s making this her match and Autumn
is just getting more and more frustrated.”
Knots: “And just think…look at
that confidence. How champion-like is that?”
Kennedy grabs Autumn and Autumn nails her with a forearm and then another.
The crowd roars and Kennedy knees her in the ribs. She then grabs Autumn and hoists her up for a hip toss and just hip tosses
her over the top rope and to the floor. Autumn lands right between Maximilian
and Christy Matthews. The referee warns both to stay back.
Sharper: “And Autumn back to
the floor.”
Knots: “Kennedy’s ring right
now.”
Sharper: “Seems like it. She
has been making Autumn come to her!”
Autumn slowly gets up as
Kennedy just backs up to the middle of the ring again. Autumn looks down and
gets up before looking at Maximilian. Christy tries to pump up Autumn by encouraging her. Autumn then gets to the ring and
pulls herself onto the apron. Kennedy just watches
her. Autumn then slowly enters the ring and steps forward and goes for a hard
right. Kennedy however cuts her off quickly with a kick to the ribs. She kicks
her again and then whips her into the ropes. Autumn bounces off and Kennedy
back drops her down. She goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Autumn kicks out. She turns
and Kennedy gets up and drives the point of her elbow into the chest of Autumn. Autumn rolls over in pain. She starts to get up and
Kennedy grabs Autumn and turns before non-chalantly
throwing her to the floor. Kennedy turns around and poses again, but Autumn lands on her feet and turns before rolling back into
the ring. She gets up and Kennedy turns only for Autumn
to run at her and drill her with a running dropkick.
Sharper: “And Autumn back in!
Big dropkick! This crowd erupting!”
Knots: “Come on! From behind!”
The crowd cheers as Kennedy
gets back up and Autumn dropkicks her down again.
Kennedy gets back up and Autumn hits a kick to the
ribs and then jumps up and hits a jump spin kick to the jaw. Kennedy falls back
to the corner. Autumn walks over to her and forearms her in the jaw and then
again and again before hitting a discus forearm shot. We cut to the back to see
Syren applauding as she watches the monitor backstage. We cut back to the ring
to see Autumn then grab Kennedy and whip her across
the ring. Kennedy hits the corner. Autumn runs after and Kennedy gets her boot
up. Autumn stumbles back. Kennedy turns and runs at her, going for a
clothesline, but Autumn ducks. Kennedy stops and turns
around only for Autumn to jump up and snap her over
with a hurricanrana into a pin.
1!
2!
Kennedy kicks out.
Sharper: “Autumn getting this
going. Syren looking on. Christy
looking on. Two champions in her corner!”
Knots: “Come on Kennedy. You
can handle her!”
Sharper: “Right now, that
doesn’t seem to be the case!”
Autumn gets us and Kennedy
rolls over and turns and Autumn grabs Kennedy, but
Kennedy reaches up and rakes Autumn’s eyes. The crowd boos. Autumn turns back.
Kennedy grabs her and whips her into the ropes. Autumn bounces off. She ducks a
Kennedy clothesline attempt. Autumn bounces off the other side. Kennedy
attempts a crescent kick that Autumn ducks as well.
Kennedy turns and Autumn rebounds with the flying
headscissors. Kennedy rolls through. She starts to get up and Autumn runs at her and hits a running double knee. Kennedy
staggers back to the corner. Autumn then walks over to Kennedy and places her
up onto the top turnbuckle. Autumn turns and hooks her up in a piggyback and
then steps out and hits a stunner out of it, not holding her up too long, but
long enough.
Sharper: “Backpack stunner.
Autumn digging deep and Kennedy Street may be dazed. She may be out.”
Knots: “Oh God. She can’t
lose. She just can’t lose!”
Kennedy rolls to her back and Autumn goes for the pin.

2!
Kennedy gets her shoulder up.
The crowd sighs and boos. Kennedy rolls over. Autumn starts to get up and grabs
Kennedy. She forearms her in the back of the head and then again before turning
her around. Autumn pulls her into the ring and kicks her in the ribs. Autumn
runs into the ropes and jumps to the middle rope. She dives back for a
springboard tornado DDT, but Kennedy catches her and spins her out into a
sitout spinebuster. The crowd ohs.

2!
Autumn gets her shoulder up.
Autumn rolls over and Kennedy rolls the other way. She starts to get up and
turns to Autumn as she starts to get up. Kennedy then
runs into the ropes, bounces off and grabs Autumn
before hitting the Silver Spoon. Autumn rolls to her back. Kennedy goes for the
pin.
Sharper: “A twisting
facebuster. Silver Spoon takes down Autumn.”
Knots: “And this is all good
again. Kennedy is back in control.”
1!
2!
Autumn kicks out. Kennedy
looks at her and yells at her to stay down. She then grabs Autumn
and drags her up. Kennedy then places her head between her legs. Kennedy looks
around and hoists her up, but Autumn goes up and into
a powerbomb position before countering with a sunset flip.

2!
Kennedy kicks out. Both women
get up and Kennedy goes for the Touch of Class, getting ohs from the crowd, but
Autumn ducks. Kennedy turns around as Autumn springboards to the middle rope and dives back with a
springboard roundhouse kick.
Sharper: “Off the ropes,
springboard and right to the head of Kennedy Street!”
Knots: “Come on…and she’s
going to the apron!”
Sharper: “Autumn Valentine
exiting the ring. She could be going to the top rope. She could be thinking
about ending this and we’ve seen her use a double stomp, right out of the
Christy Matthews Playbook.”
Christy looks on as Autumn gets to the top rope from the apron. Kennedy stirs
and starts to get up. She gets to her feet and turns to Autumn
who dives off and takes Kennedy down with a crossbody.
1!
2!
Kennedy gets her shoulder up.
Kennedy turns and Autumn starts to get up as the crowd
boos. She then looks up and yells at Christy, but we then see Alexis Quinne
running up behind Christy Matthews before throwing her face first into the
ringpost.
Sharper: “Quinne from behind! Quinne going after Christy!”
Knots: “Autumn!
You’ve got a few people to worry about!”
Autumn Valentine steps forward
to the ropes and yells at Alexis as Alexis just jumps up and down and
yells at Autumn.
Quinne: “Don’t forget about me
Autumn! Don’t forget!”
Alexis Quinne keeps taunting Autumn before Autumn looks at the big screen and refocuses.
She turns and runs at Kennedy, but Kennedy manages to get up and drives her
shoulder into the ribs of Autumn. Autumn falls over,
holding her ribs. She starts to get up and Kennedy runs into the ropes before drilling
Autumn with the Pedicure. The crowd boos. Kennedy then
rolls her over and hooks the leg. Quinne just laughs as she backs away.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd boos as “Criticize”
then starts to play. Kennedy Street pushes away from Autumn
before the crowd roars. We see Syren running out from the back. Quinne quickly
turns and runs down the side of the rampway and to the back as Syren just stops
part way for a moment before turning and heading to the ring. Maximilian enters
the ring as Kennedy starts to push Autumn with her
foot.
Sharper: “Kennedy wins with
the Pedicure. Her version of a facebuster.”
Knots: “Better than Syren’s!”
Sharper: “And Quinne chased
off. Syren out here. We showed her watching, but too
late. Kennedy Street defeats Autumn Valentine.”
Knots: “She’s getting her out
of the ring too.”
Syren turns and heads to
Christy Matthews and checks on her as she starts to get up, holding her face
and nose in pain. Syren then gets up as Kennedy keeps pushing Autumn before Maximilian does it for her and they just dump
Autumn to the floor by Syren. Syren turns back and looks at Kennedy Street.
Kennedy just laughs and backs up as Maximilian stands in front of her. Syren
checks on Autumn.
Sharper: “Come on…just dumping
her out of the ring. No respect from Kennedy.”
Knots: “And that’s what’s in
Syren’s future. Kennedy Street has been right there. All the
confidence. All the answers and Syren…at Retribution, your reign is
going to be over!”
Sharper: “Or Kennedy Street is
giving Syren all the motivation she needs to crush Kennedy Street’s title hopes
at Retribution!”
Syren looks up at Kennedy as
she keeps laughing. Syren turns back to Autumn as
Christy goes to her too. Kennedy Street just starts to pose, motioning that
she’ll be wearing the World Championship soon enough as the scene fades to
black…
