“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

Trying to get back to who I used to be
Where is the old me?

Chris Cannon spearing Kennedy Street and Owen Cruze follows before we see a shot of Alistaire Allocco on his way to the ring, and then a shot of Regan Street and Datura swinging chairs at one another. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are live in the heartland of America as Breakdown comes to you live from Kansas City!”

The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments before cutting to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots stand next to the ring, microphones in hand.

Sharper: “Hello again everyone. I’m Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and welcome to the new Thursday Night Breakdown here. Same SCW action and tonight, we have a massive main event.”

Knots: “The fallout of Last Grasp of Reality will be felt. Regan Street injured. We’ll talk about that. But Xander Valentine is going to have to deal with the vengeance. He’s facing the former World Champion, David Helms tonight in our main event!”

Sharper: “Not only that, we have a huge tag team match – Doom & Groove will face Suited & Booted in non-title action. This coming after Suited and Booted highlighted them for the future. Owen Cruze will face Gavin Taylor and so much more. Plus, all of the fallout as you said.”

Knots: “And there’s a lot of it!”

The lights dim as a voice backed by piano music fill the arena.

{That's the price you pay.... Leave behind your heartache, cast away
Just another product of today.... Rather be the hunter than the prey
And you're standing on the edge, face up... 'cause you're a NATURAL}

As the heavy music of “Natural” by Imagine Dragons kicks in the lights come back up and Bree Lancaster is standing on the stage, holding both World Championships as Scott Burnside walks out with her. Bree looks up as white sparks shower down behind her from the top of the set to the stage. The crowd boos heavily.

Sharper: “And we’re kicking things off with our World Champion.”

Knots: “Lucky-“

Sharper: “Easy there. Nothing lucky about last night. She won. She’s holding both belts.”

Knots: “For how long. Probably going to have people start carrying them out for her. At least she’s got hell waiting for her the next few weeks.”

Sharper: “Right about that. Tag League next week. The Semis and the finals. And then Ace Marshall stunning the world, using his Trios Tournament shot for a massive sixteen person gauntlet in two weeks. World Title on the line.”

Bree and Scott make their way down the ramp, Bree holding her arms out all the way to the ring. She stops at the steps and Scott goes up ahead of her. Bree follows and Scott holds the ropes open for her to step through. He goes to the apron as Bree walks to the center of the ring, turning as she does. She then walks a circle in the ring showing off, before going to the corner. Scott goes over and gets a microphone and walks back over to Bree. Bree looks around as the crowd boos.

Bree: “First, Sienna…get better. But until then…well, we’ll still be on top!”

The crowd boos. Bree smiles as she looks around.

Bree: “And I know people are looking ahead. They’re looking at the schedule that’s coming up. Next week, the semis and finals of the Tag League. What am I going to do? Sienna Swann, yeah, you’ll probably all be happy. You never could appreciate greatness. Well she won’t be my partner…but don’t worry, I have a plan.”

Bree smirks.

Bree: “See that’s the thing. I always have a plan. Including this gauntlet match that Ace Marshall came up with…”

Bree chuckles a bit.

Bree: “Sixteen people. I don’t know the order. Don’t ask me. But Ace Marshall and I used to be on the same page…that’s long dead. Just like you’ve done to others, like you influenced Kellen Jeffries to do it…you like screwing with people you don’t like. Well Ace, I have said for the last year that I am the REAL World Champion. That I am the best. I have only been pinned ONCE – David Helms at Rise to Greatness and I got that win back at Last Grasp. The talent you’ve assembled…some great…but most I’ve stood over victorious. And I plan to do it again!”

The crowd boos as Bree looks at the camera.

Bree: “No…that’s the future. I’m still focused on one thing from the past.”

Bree chuckles a bit.

Bree: “David Helms. I beat you!”

The crowd boos.

Bree: “And I’ve been waiting for this moment for over half a year. From your ducking Tommy and I at Under Attack with your BS injury. To your return, to now that I’m convinced, hearing that you helped Jordan Majors in training to face me at End of the Year Special…you didn’t want to face me. Oh yeah, didn’t hear that? Helms helped Majors train, hoping she’d beat me!”

Sharper: “Of course he would! She’s been training with him for months!”

Knots: “And he’s not an egotistical jackass…oh wait, now I know why Bree can’t understand it!”

Bree listens to the boos.

Bree: “You’ve been ducking me for months. And I finally showed why. You knew lightning couldn’t strike twice. And now I’m holding both of these title belts and I wanted one thing at the end. For you to have to get up on your feet, hand me your title and place it around MY waist!”

The crowd boos.

Bree: “But no. You couldn’t do that. You had to make sure people were talking about you going to your wife. To Regan, after she got herself into a situation where she got what she deserved picking fights with a monster! And you had to make sure people saw David Helms the hero, going out there…just pathetic. Needing to steal my thunder so you could play good husband when I finally showed I am the greatest wrestler in this company and sport today. You could’ve shown some humility, but no…David Helms, always needing the attention, always needing to save your ego-“

Selena Frost at this point starts to head to the ring, looking quite annoyed.

Bree: “No…I won’t let that go past without a comment. Oh well, we yet again, as I’ve said time and time again, seen your true colours. You damaged friendships for this, you even hid things from your wife, and now, you’ve forgotten how to even fake being a good role model. Regan could’ve waited another fifteen minutes. You had to defend your title anyway. Right? You could’ve done the right thing-“

Sharper: “Selena Frost joining us! Regan Street’s tag partner!”

Scott starts to point out Selena who now is on the apron. The crowd is cheering at this point.

Bree: “Wait, what-“

Selena then spins Bree around and nails her with a hard right. The crowd roars as Bree falls over and rolls over, holding her face in pain. Selena then grabs the microphone as is bounces, Bree having dropped it.

Selena: “You are an egotistical son of a bitch, aren’t you?”

Bree starts to back up, more to get up, grabbing her titles in the process. Scott reaches down to help her up.

Selena: “Regan Street could’ve seen her career end and you’re not only blaming her, but getting on David’s case for wanting to immediately check on her when he fought you to give you and that title the respect IT deserves, knowing Regan would have wanted that.”

Selena looks at Bree as she starts to get up. Selena is almost seething.

Selena: “I hope to God we both get through our semi-finals matches so I can make sure I end Breakdown next week, not only beating you in the Tag League, but knocking you the hell out. And then…I hope to hell that I am the one who faces you in the gauntlet so I can take that World Title from you end this farce that you keep spewing every week. Between you and Sienna, the World Championship deserves better. SCW deserves better. THESE FANS deserve better. And David deserves better….Me…I’ll just be happy to bring a smile to their face if I can knock you down to size two weeks in a row! BELIEVE IT!”

Selena throws the microphone down as Selena turns and exits the ring. “The Truth About Our Time” by Allen/Lande plays as Selena drops to the floor.

Sharper: “Selena with a clear message!”

Knots: “Yeah and I love watching Bree become speechless!”

Bree then steps forward and grabs the microphone as Selena continues to head to the back.

Bree: “Talk tough Selena!”

Selena turns back to look at the ring.

Bree: “Regan’s gone…and trust me, you can’t talk about ego. You need to find a partner too…And you better hope we don’t meet in the finals or the gauntlet. Now I owe you a receipt!”

The crowd boos as Bree steps back and brings the microphone down. “Natural” then starts to play as Selena looks up and smirks and then turns and starts to head to the back.

Knots: “Have to have the last word, huh?”

Sharper: “Selena doesn’t seem impressed, but just another layer to everything to expect in the coming weeks. But Bree Lancaster…she’s on top of the world, regardless of Selena’s shot across the bow here!”

Bree keeps watching Selena as she then rubs her chin as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, the scene opens up in the locker room of Infamous to see Syren, Ravyn Taylor, Holly Adams, Alexander Crowe and CHBK talking.

Syren: “Done with him. He has his chance. I gave him his match. He manipulated you…”

CHBK: “Fully agree. He had his chance. His one shot and if he wants to get you, it’s going to be if he’s World Champion or you are and he earns a shot. You just need to stick with that. No matter what he does.”

Syren: “Gotta it now. After he tried to end my career a second time.”

Holly: “Yeah, yeah, Jimmy-E is old news. Screw him. We got ourselves a title shot. Who’d have thought Ace would come through?”

Ravyn and Syren look at each other.

Ravyn: “Yes, Ace.”

CHBK rolls his eyes.

Holly: “What? We got a title shot. Who cares why he did it? He’s not all bad.”

CHBK: “Let’s not get into that. Looks, like you’re getting your rematch thanks to Ace, Ravyn….won’t need to worry about David.”

Ravyn: “Not so sure there.”

Syren: “I’m more….I don’t know. This whole plan…to work up to it…Ace just named it. It….took it. It’s…”

Holly: “So you take it. You win, you’re World Champion. All of us. I should’ve won End of the Year Special. Ravyn should’ve beat Bree. Syren, they should name it the Syren Memorial Championship. So we go out there and knock some people around. Pretend it’s a Victoria’s Secret show and there’s one spot…okay three, but it works!”

Ravyn: “In your own way, you’re not wrong.”

Syren: “Alex…can I talk to you alone?”

Holly: “Come on girl. This is your chance to just jump ahead. He named you. You got what you wanted.”

Syren: “Not everything.”

CHBK nods and walks off with Syren. Christy Matthews just looks on from the back of the locker room, annoyed as she glances at Christopher Richter. Richter nods. The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown opens up to see Jessica Winters standing with Jordan Majors and Cookie Dreams backstage as the crowd cheers.

Winters: “Fans, Jessica Winters here with the team of the Psychonauts, Cookie Dreams and Jordan Majors and you’ve been waiting for next week for a long time. Jordan, Cookie, you could be two wins away from a World Tag Team Championship opportunity.”

Cookie: “It’s so exciting! It’s so exciting! Isn’t it!”

Cookie jumps excitedly.

Jordan: “Damn right, Cook. It’s been an interesting few months as we’ve become the team to beat and it sucks that we couldn’t quite push over the finish line. It sucks more that Regan Street is injured and we don’t get that rematch to see if we could win. But we know Selena is going to get a partner and Selena, mind giving us a hint, I mean, for competition’s sake?”

Jordan winks.

Cookie: “Oh she’ll be fine. She’s nice and all.”

Jordan: “She is. But she’s a competitor and we know next week, we have to get through her and her partner first. And then whoever walks out of the other bracket. And there are some fun connections there.”

Cookie: “So wanna face your former coach or your former best friend?”

Jordan: “More wondering if Cid is a swell guy or not?”

Cookie: “Looks like a lot like your broth-….OH MY GOD. COULD YOU TWO BE RELATED?!”

Jordan: “I doubt it Cook.”

Cookie: “Oh…well…okay, so no extra reveals next week! Just some Psychonauts doing Psychonaut stuff.”

Jordan: “Psychonaut stuff?”

Cookie winks.

Cookie: “Exactly!”

Jordan: “Win. We’re going to win. And damn sure try to end this as we started. Stepping up against someone the best.”

Cookie: “Wooooooo!”

Cookie and Jordan walk out as the scene fades out.

JaMarcus Avery vs. Konrad Raab

“Cold as Ice” by M.O.P. plays over the sound system as Konrad Raab comes out through the curtain with Dylan Howell coming out behind him. Konrad's wearing his red, green and blue mask along with his wrestling trousers with his nickname The Iced Rainbow on the front of them with Pit Bull Energy logos on the side of his trousers with black gloves on both of his hands with a side cross necklace on his neck with the blue and black yin-yang tattoo on his right shoulder, Iceman from X-Men tattoo on his back, ice wolf on his left chest, ice bear on his right chest and flame cage on his left shoulder. Dylan slaps him on the back as they begin their way down the ramp.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. Introducing first, accompanied by Dylan Howell, from Cologne, Germany, he is The Iced Rainbow, Konrad Raab!”

Sharper: “As Konrad Raab makes his way to the ring, let’s take a look at some footage that we picked up just earlier today before the show went on-air.”

We go picture-in-picture as Raab continues his way down the ramp, the other picture with the subtitle ‘EARLIER TODAY’ in the corner.

We see Minerva walking into the building, wearing a brand new coat, with Konrad Raab holding an umbrella over her head, leading her into the building. She walks into the building and smiles before turning and kissing Raab.

Minerva: “You’re so thoughtful. And to get me this new jacket I wanted…”

Raab: “You deserve it all.”

Minerva: “Of course I do.”

She steps up and Dean Black happens to be by the security checkpoint. Minerva winks at him. She then steps forward. Dean steps toward them.

Black: “So you’re showing up tonight? The fine taught you something.”

Minerva: “Oh yes…I learned plenty.”

Minerva mockingly responds before walking off as Konrad Raab looks at Black and then follows Minerva. The camera continues to follow Minerva before she turns and leans in toward Konrad.

Minerva: “Thanks for paying the fine for me too.”

Raab: “Well, it was a mistake. Something they should’ve been understanding about.”

Minerva: “See…you understand.”

Minerva turns and walks forward, smiling as Raab just follows her.

The live action returns to fullscreen as we see Raab now sitting in the corner, waiting for the match to begin. Dylan Howell stands at ringside, giving some words of encouragement while looking up the ramp.

Sharper: “Minerva, apparently back here in SCW, and it seems Konrad Raab took care of the fine given to her by SCW management for missing her match just a few weeks ago.”

Knots: “What a gentleman!”

Sharper: “That's all you have to say?”

Knots: “Hey, who am I to judge young love? If I were in her position, I’d want a sugar daddy too.”

Sharper: “Oh, stop it.”

"King Nothing" by Metallica echoes from the louder speaker. The lights go out. When the lights come back on Donovan Cunningham appears on the stage. Not too long after JaMarcus Avery and TD Batterson walk out to join him. All three of them raise one fist into the air. Then they march down to the ring with purpose.

Phillips: “And his opponent, accompanied by Donovan Cunningham and TD Batterson, from San Francisco, California, he is The Evolution of Pro Wrestling, JaMarcus Avery!”

Sharper: “Minerva is not out here now, but you have to wonder if JaMarcus Avery or the men accompanying him to the ring will be keeping an eye out for her.”

Knots: “What, you think Minerva wants to trade in for a newer model?”

Sharper: “And JaMarcus will likely be looking to make a point here after having to watch on the sidelines as Ricky James won the SCW Television Championship, beating Kelsai Adamson-Mason, who JaMarcus fell short against in the first round of the tournament for that title.”

They reach the ring. Donovan gets on the apron. JaMarcus slides underneath the bottom rope. While all this is going on TD walks up the ring step. Donovan holds the rope open for TD to enter the ring. They join JaMarcus in the center of the ring. Once again all three raise their fist in the air. TD and Donovan exit the ring leaving JaMarcus with Raab. Raab gets up from the corner and steps to the middle of the ring towards Avery. The bell sounds. Raab and Avery lock up.

Sharper: “Getting started here with a collar-and-elbow tie-up.”

Avery overpowers Raab and catches him in a headlock.

Knots: “And not so surprisingly, Avery wins the test of strength.”

Avery lays in a couple of right hands with the headlock still locked in. Raab backs them both into the ropes. Raab pushes Avery off. Avery runs into the opposite ropes and bounces off. Raab rushes forward. Avery goes for a clothesline, but Raab ducks and runs through. They both bounce off the ropes. Raab comes back with a spear. The crowd roars. Avery clutches his ribs. Raab pushes him down to the mat for the cover.

1!

Avery quickly kicks out and rolls over, still favoring the ribs.

Sharper: “Raab caught Avery there, but Avery, recovering quickly.”

Raab gets up and waits for Avery. Avery gets to his feet and is met with a running crossbody from Raab, but he catches Raab. Avery tosses Raab over his head with a fallaway slam. He gets up and yells out.

Sharper: “Raab caught Avery, then Avery caught Raab, now back on top.”

Avery walks to Raab and stomps at him. Raab grabs the bottom rope and wraps himself around it as Avery continues to stomp away. The referee steps in between, but Avery continues to lay in some stiff stomps.

1!

2!

3!

4!

Avery finally lets up and backs off. Raab pulls himself up using the ropes while Avery stalks him. Raab turns around and Avery lowers his head and goes for a battering ram, but Raab steps out of the way, stumbling to the middle of the ring.

Sharper: “Battering ram, missed.”

Avery catches himself on the ropes and turns back to Raab. Avery’s caught off guard by a vicious right hook by Raab. Raab then swings around with a left hook, staggering Avery. Raab jabs him with a quick left and then a right. Avery falls back into the corner and covers up as Raab continues to lay in some boxing-style punches.

Sharper: “Raab, all over Avery!”

Raab changes course and rams his shoulder into Avery. He continues as the referee begins the count.

1!

2!

3!

4!

Raab backs up after the referee pulls him off.

Knots: “Like you said, all over JaMarcus. Raab’s continuing his recent aggressive streak here. We’ve seen that come back to bite him a couple times, but right now, he’s seemed to have channelled it to his benefit.”

Avery rushes out of the corner, but Raab drops him with a drop-toe hold. Avery falls forward  and rolls out of the ring, standing up on the outside. He angrily rips at the ring skirt on his way out. He makes his way next to the announcer’s desk as Batterson and Cunningham come over to talk to him.

Sharper: “Avery, showing some frustration now, right in front of us.”

Knots: “I don’t think he expected this from Raab. Or, if he did, he probably thought he’d easily handle it, but not so far!”

Suddenly, Raab leaps through the ropes with a suicide dive at Avery. Avery dodges it and Raab crashes to the floor, sliding hard into the announcer’s desk. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Raab with some exciting offense, but it cost him!”

Knots: “Crash and burn!”

Sharper: “Judging by the sound of Raab bashing right into our desk here - possibly with his head, even - he could very well be out!”

Avery steps forward but Cunningham stops him with a hand on Avery’s chest.

Cunningham: “Send a message. Send a message!”

Cunningham claps Avery on the chest. Avery nods as the referee begins the count. (1) Avery steps forward and stomps on Raab, who’s barely responding. (2)

Sharper: “If the cameras didn’t pick it up, Donovan Cunningham just told Avery to send a message.”

Knots: “Saying it with authority, too. Now Avery’s looking to take advantage of Raab’s mistake.”

(3) Avery picks Raab up and drills him with a European uppercut. Raab falls back onto the announce table. (4) Avery goes to pick him back up, but Raab fights back, throwing a right. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Raab now, fighting back!”

(5) Avery stumbles back as Raab gets up off of the table. Raab goes for another right, but Avery blocks it. (6) Avery bends over and pushes forward, driving Raab’s back into the desk. (7) Avery grabs Raab and knees him in the gut before grabbing him and hoisting him up in a gorilla press position.

Knots: “Now he’s got Raab up! Look out, Adam!”

The announcers stand up and back away. (8) Avery drops Raab face first onto the table without breaking it. The crowd ohs before breaking out into boos. (9) Cunningham and Batterson shout some words of encouragement as we see Howell looking around the corner, ready to step in. Avery gets down and lays in some ferocious forearms to the back of Raab’s neck.

10!

The referee calls for the bell. The crowd boos as Avery continues to relentlessly beat Raab.

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, as a result of a double countout, this contest has been ruled a draw!”

Howell runs forward to help Raab, but Batterson drops him with a body block. Cunningham smirks as Batterson hits Howell with a few stomps, making sure he stays down.

Sharper: “Oh, and Dylan! He’s been taken out here at ringside as JaMarcus Avery continues to viciously assault Konrad Raab! This match is over, but Avery will not relent!”

Knots: “He’s sending a message as per the instructions of Donovan Cunningham.”

Avery gets up and brings Raab with him. He violently rolls him back into the ring, following behind him. Avery gets up and walks to Raab. He picks Raab up, quickly hooking him for a suplex. He hoists him up before dropping him with Court Martialed. The crowd continues to jeer as Avery sits up, looking back at Raab in disgust.

Sharper: “Well, message sent! Avery is usually a level-headed competitor inside the ring, but after the words of Donovan Cunningham, he’s just unleashing here on Konrad Raab!”

Knots: “He honestly seems eager at the chance of releasing his frustration.”

Avery gets up and brings Raab with him. He hooks him again, setting up for another Court Martialed.

Sharper: “Looking for another Court Martialed now, but enough is enough! Message sent!”

The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Minerva runs down the ramp. She slides into the ring and looks at Avery, who just drops Raab to the mat. Avery puts his hands up and shrugs as he slowly backs into the corner. Minerva slides forward and down towards Raab, checking on him.

Sharper: “Minerva out here now to check on Raab.”

Knots: “And Avery deciding that he’s made his example. No need to mix it up with Minerva.”

Avery drops and rolls out of the ring, joining Cunningham and Batterson. They nod at each other as they start to head up the ramp. Minerva continues to check on Raab, who seems to be coming to.

Sharper: “Avery leaving after making his statement, but what about Minerva?”

We see Minerva continuing to tend to Raab.

Sharper: “She’s out here, caring for Raab. Is it all for show or does she actually care?”

Knots: “Of course she cares! That’s her meal ticket. She’s angling for that big inheritance!”

Sharper: “Would you stop?”

Howell stirs on the outside of the ring and looks inside to see Minerva checking on Raab. He slides into the ring and stands over them. He kneels down to also check on Raab.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns to see Gavin Taylor sitting on a storage crate, going over a file of information. Gavin’s A.S.S. is with him, standing around him, protecting him and listening. Ava St. Claire then walks over to him.

St. Claire: “What are you doing? You should be getting ready. You have a huge match tonight and with Owen Cruze being a bit off, this is a big chance.”

Gavin: “Big chance? Of course it is, but not as big as the US Championship and did you see what Xander did to Regan?! I’m already putting in official demands. Demands to make sure that won’t happen to me. Do you know how people would react if The All-Star went down? There would be a down period in this business like had never been seen before!”

St. Claire: “So what are you doing? What’s all this?”

Jack Barker: “We got him all of the tour dates.”

Gavin: “Looking up hospital ratings and general safety. Okay, next week…that’s out. No way in hell am I trust anyone from Boston. Plus too close to Rochester. Xander’s from Rochester. He may try to finish the job if I win.”

St. Claire: “Wait…what?”

Karl Barker: “Gonna try and pick a date for a preferred title defense.”

Gavin: “Arkansas. Do they even have hospitals there?”

St. Claire: “Wait, you think you’re going to get your ass kicked.”

Gavin: “Oh I don’t think. I know. It’s Xander Valentine. But the best offense is a good defense and the only way to ensure we walk out still as US Champion is for me to get to good healthcare and medical treatment as soon as possible. Me winning the title and then having to vacate it would be a death knell to the industry.”

St. Claire: “But winning-“

Gavin: “Come on. I’m the All-Star. I live for moments like this. And I won’t be carrying Katie.”

Gavin puts the file down.

Gavin: “Okay, we’re screwed. They’re all terrible…uh…Ava…choose Cleveland or San Antonio.”

St. Claire: “What?”

Jack: “February 18th Breakdown or Retribution.”

St. Claire: “Why?”

Gavin: “That way we can get me airlifted to Canada or Mexico. The border would have to slow him down.”

Gavin hops to his feet.

Gavin: “Now to do what’s expected and kick Owen’s ass. Let’s get ready.”

Ava St. Claire looks a bit surprised

St. Claire: “Mexico?”

We cut to the ring.

Crystal Zdunich vs. Katie Steward

Phillips: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and has a ten minute time limit!”

The arena fades to black as the screen lights up and we are treated to an old school movie countdown image.

THE SILVER SCREEN QUEEN IS HERE!!!!

I’m Coming Out by Diana Ross begins to blast all across the speakers and as that happens we are able to see Crystal Zdunich emerging through the backstage curtain and the roaring boos of the crowd are deafening.

Phillips: “Introducing first, she hails from Los Angeles, California… She is the Silver Screen Queen… CRYSTAL ZDUNICH!!!

Crystal smiles as her grouping of paparazzi gather up in front of the ring and they snag photo after photo of the Latina beauty.

Sharper: “As you can see tonight, Crystal is popular here in Kansas.”

Knots: “They obviously do not get out much! Good thing the paparazzi are here.”

Sharper: “Notice that Lexy Chapel is notably missing tonight?”

She then begins to walk down the ramp as she turns her nose up to the fans. Her following of paparazzi meet her as does a red carpet. She takes in appeal of the cameras smiling as flashes begin to go off one after another. She then runs up the steps where she walks towards the middle of the apron. She blows kisses out to the crowd before dropping into a split entering the ring. She pops back up doing a hair flip and begins to walk around the ring smirking at the crowd until her as well as the crowds attention is stolen by the entrance way.

Knots: “Well you said she was notably absent well like Beetle Juice there is Lexy Chapel and you didn’t have to say her name three times!”

As if on cue Lexy Chapel appears on the stage with the same masked man we’ve seen weeks prior, this time he has a podium resting against his shoulder as he carries it down towards the ring. Lexy is motioning to him to hurry up while Crystal stands in the ring with her arms outstretched wondering just wondering what the hell she is doing this time as she leans against the ropes.

Crystal: “What are you doing?! I have a match!”

Lexy: “Trust me, you’ll love it!! It’ll be HUGE!”

Crystal sighs a little while Lexy offers a thumbs up, Lexy helps the muscle guy bring the podium into the ring while Crystal just watches from the corner, the crowds boos lowering little now due to their curiosity.

Knots: “What the hell is she planning, there is a carpet being rolled into the ring now as well…

A small carpet is being rolled in by one of the SCW stage hands upon the request of Lexy who is struggling to lift the podium so it can be placed under it. Crystal is trying to find out what the deal is, the most notable thing on the podium is a big red button. Chapel then shoos Philips from the ring after taking his microphone and smiles to the Kansas City crowd.

Lexy: “Ladies and Gentlemen… We are gathered here today to promote… You guessed it “THE WIFE!” Who’s ratings right now are through the roof!!”

Sharper: “They are?! Is it one of those unlimited series?”

Knots: “Oh god no, there is no such thing!”

The crowd buzzes as all eyes are no the podium, Crystal glaring at it now as well.

Lexy: “So why here, why now because this woman right here beside me deserves all the plaudits, all the respect. From EVERYONE be it the locker room, YOU People, the Screen Actors Guild! The Oscars you name it and her opponent and it’s my job to make sure this happens!! SO! I arrange only the best for my clients and I know you’re all wondering just what this does!”

Lexy grins as she points down to the podium beside her.

Lexy: “WELL, Without further ado…”

Suddenly before Lexy could finish…

Oh, she's sweet but a psycho
A little bit psycho
At night she's screamin'
"I'm-ma-ma-ma out my mind"

The arena lights dim down and pink light shine on the stage. “Sweet but Psycho:” by Ava Max plays as The Queen of Queens and Goddess of Desire Katie Steward steps out on the stage.

Lexy: “What no! Stop that, I wasn’t finished!!”

Knots: “I don’t think she cares Lexy.”

Sharper: “There is only one star in this match in her eyes and its Katie not Crystal!”

Knots: “Only because we all know my wife Kennedy is the biggest of them all!”

In the ring Lexy is trying to explain to Crystal this wasn’t part of the plan as Katie walks onto the stage in  her beautiful white and gold religious ring robe that is pope like and spins around in a circle showing it off the crowd. TJ Johnson walks out onto the stage with Katie and the two nod to on another before Katie continues her walk to the ring with her arms out and his hands at shoulder length.

Phillips: “Introducing her opponent, hailing from Los Angeles, California, being accompanied to the ring by TJ Johnson… She is the Goddess of Desire, the Queen of Queens, She is your Blonde Bombshell… KATIE STEWARD!!”

Lexy: “Turn that mic off!! He shouldn’t have a mic during OUR time I REQUESTED THIS!!”

Katie walks around the ring and up the ring steps carefully and across the apron as the crowd is a mixture of cheers and boos for the SCW Hall of Famer. TJ runs up after her and holds open the ropes for her to enter the ring. Katie walks to the center of the ring and she disrobes for the crowd. She shows off her wrestling attire before their eyes are now drawn to the podium where Lexy stands besides with a scowl on her face.

Lexy: “WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE INTERRUPTING THIS MOMENTUS OCCASION!!”

Katie looks at Lexy not knowing who she even is, TJ stands in front of his Goddess with his own mic in hand while Crystal leans against a corner again.

TJ: “WHO ARE YOU TO EVEN BE STANDING IN THE PRESENSE OF A TRUE TO LIFE GODDESS!”

Lexy: “WHO AM I?! I’M LEXY CHAPEL!!”

Lexy steps forward and raises her arm, some crowd cheer while others boo.”

Lexy: “Who are you other than her errand boy. Go fetch me a coffee will you?”

Lexy chuckles as TJ stands there shocked. Katie continues to watch along with everyone else as these two get into it.

TJ: “ERRAND BOY?! Girl you done it now, what’s that do huh some kind of special moment for your b movie actress over there.”

A few crowd members “Ooooh” as Lexy looks on shocked he even said that, he walks over to the podium now and looks down at the big red button.

Lexy: “You stay away from that, that isn’t yours to touch!”

TJ: “Oh really?”

Lexy: “I’m warning you…”

Crystal and Katie are looking at each other now as TJ And Lexy glare at each other, TJ quickly slaps the button to a roar from the crowd  but nothing happens… Lexy looks up confused and TJ hits it again and again this time Lexy rushes over and pushes TJ back to another roar from the crowd.

Knots: “I have no idea what was going on there but now things rae getting physical between Lexy and TJ!”

Sharper: “The button not working, these two having a shoving match it looks like and Katie and Crystal are as confused as we are.”

TJ steadies himself and walks over pushing Lexy back now, again Lexy pushes TJ back and this goes on for a moment before Katie has had enough and rushes over and hits a forearm into the side of LExy which sends her to the canvas.

Katie: “ONLY I GET TO TOUCH HIM!!”

Suddenly after that Crystal lunges with a pump kick to TJ Johnson knocking him down next to a roar form the crowd.

Knots: “HERE WE GO!”

Katie and Crystal then lunge at the other while the masked guy rushes to Lexy’s aide. Crystal drives a knee into the gut of Katie who doubles over. Crystals looks ready to set her up for something, but TJ is back up and pushes Crystal to the ropes before pulling Katie away to the ropes and helping her exit. Crystal is back  to her feet as Katie and TJ make their way around the ring, but not to be out done, Crystal hits the ropes and suicide dives into Katie and TJ. Johnson stumbles back as Crystal mounts Katie and throws lefts and rights down at the Goddess of the Desire.

Sharper: “The official has lost control out here, we need security!”

The official is waving to the back while keeping Lexy and the masked man in the ring, and the crowd immediately starts to boo as referees and security along with Dean Black come out to interject. They begin to pull Crystal off Katie and manage to separate everyone while a “Let Them Fight” chant breaks out. Katie is screaming at the top of her lungs seething at Crystal, TJ doing his best to calm her down but to no avail.  Crystal steps back and rolls into the ring and extends her arms motioning for Katie To come back but Steward throws her arms up into the air and screams.

Katie: “I DEMAND A FORMAL PROTEST!!”

Katie then stomps her feet and begins to head backstage with TJ Johnson in tow while the focus IS now back onto the ring where Lexy is back up trying to apologize to Crystal. Then and only then there is a BANG! From above the ring and a banner begins to unravel downwards to reveal a smiling Crystal Zdunich from her show “THE WIFE!”. That is for all of two seconds as the cable snaps and the banner begins to fall down to the ground… Lexy now panicking! As she and the mask man try to pick it up as Crystal just leaves to head backstage shaking her head.

Knots: “Well it looks like this match isn’t going ahead now, the officials having cleared out and whatever surprise Lexy had didn’t go to plan either…

Sharper: “Well ladies and gentlemen, we apologize for that but I’m sure what we have instore next will be right up your alley. We’ll be right back.”

Backstage, Blake Mason is seated in a hoodie, looking down at the ground. Jaxson Sullivan looks at him.

Sullivan: “You need to get over it.”

Mason: “I had my shot…and I missed…I got one of his little henchpeople…his followers. I aimed for him! Cut the head off and the body will die!”

Sullivan: “Then are you going to sulk?”

Mason looks down before his phone buzzes. He grabs it and looks at it. He then stops a moment, looking at it a bit confused.

Sullivan: “What?”

Mason stammers a moment and looks up.

Mason: “I need to go for a walk. Don’t come with me. It’ll be fine.”

Sullivan: “You are my boss…”

Mason: “I’ll be back.”

Mason gets up and heads out of the locker room.

Sharper: “Where’s he going?”

The scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns as Holly Adams is walking backstage, smirking a bit, causing the crowd to boo her. She then walks over to someone and smacks them in the ass. The person jumps and we realize it’s Ace Marshall.

Holly: “I knew I could recognize that ass anywhere.”

Ace: “Jesus Holly. Scared the hell out of me.”

Holly: “Why? Were you spying…on who?”

Holly glances over.

Holly: “Oh god….her? Crystal?”

Ace: “Sure, why not.”

Holly: “Well I haven’t seen Cassidy around here, so you’re not being weird about your wife…Jesus, you married. Still gotta get used to that.”

Ace: “Why? Figured you may think about another round? Bring Syren and Ravyn into it? Haven’t had all three?”

Holly’s eyes widen.

Holly: “Wait? You…them? Oh I’m going to have to ask Zoe about this. Then again, with the title shots, you’ve given us, we may have to thank you. Hell, I’m thinking about it myself. But well…”

Ace: “Yeah…and it’s a lot more complicated than that with Ravyn…and Syren….some memories….”

Ace shakes his head.

Holly: “I’m totally asking now.”

Ace: “Well, that’s good. Now I better get ready to have nightmares every time I see you. Some way to say thanks for a title shot.”

Holly: “Oh we’ll say thanks by winning the title. Then we can chat like old times. Just hope you’ll still have a set. Does Cassidy know? Maybe I should tell her-”

Ace: “I’ll take you out. Syren too. And Cassidy knew. She was part of some of the fun we had…”

Holly: “Not Ravynhmmmm….you’re not playing this game well Ace! Then again, pretty sure I could convince you in other ways.”

Ace: “Not compared to Ravyn.”

Holly blinks a bit.

Holly: “Oh, I’m totally asking what the hell happened. Either way-“

Holly grabs Ace and kisses him right on the lips. Ace steps back.

Holly: “God….this is fun screwing with you after everything. You’re shifty. Maybe I should tell Cassidy I kissed you!”

Holly laughs.

Holly: “Thanks again! Now I have to kick a cartoon character’s ass one more time!”

Holly turns and walks off. Ace glances back and then walks off quickly as we see Lexy Chapel walk out with one of the shirtless men she’s been travelling around with.

The scene opens up in the middle of the ring as “Real American” by Rick Derringer plays in the background. In the middle of the ring, we see Ricky James and Lucy Huckabee-Sanders standing proudly. Ricky James has the SCW Television Championship over his shoulder, and notably we see a series of American flag stickers placed all over it. Behind them is an American flag, unfurled.

Sharper: “Look who just joined us.”

Knots: “This isn’t over the top at all!”

Sharper: “Our new Television Champion.”

Knots: “Complete with the stickers I’m sure they stole from a three year old!”

Lucy Huckabee Sanders looks around, microphone in her hand.

LHS: “Ladies and gentlemen…We are here for an EMERGENCY…Ratings Update!”

Sharper: “Oh, ratings!”

The crowd boos.

LHS: “That’s right. Because Ricky here is now your Champion of Television and finally, FINALLY, after weeks of dismay and horror, from the injury to that fine American Sienna Swann, to Bree Lancaster having to deal with people not believing she was the real champion…you now have….another….champion to believe in and who represents what the people want to see.”

The crowd boos. As Lucy continues, a chant begins, something along the lines of “We can’t see you!”

LHS: “See, we have the ratings from Last Grasp of Reality. Ricky has been pouring over them all week and well, Ricky…how about you tell them!”

As LHS hands the microphone to Ricky, the chant gets louder.

Sharper: “They don’t have ratings for pay per views. What the hell are they on?”

Ricky: “Well as all of these fine Americans here in Kansas, chanting U-S-A, U-S-A, I can tell you you’ll be happy. People watching Last Grasp of Reality peaked the moment I was announced, victoriously, as the NEW Champion of Television!”

The crowd boos.

Ricky: “That’s right. You finally have someone, who is just like all of you, red-blooded and willing to stand up for what they believe in, finally holding gold and guaranteed to appear every week. The ratings will go through the roof. But at Last Grasp of Reality, that moment was cut short. People wanted to see me. But instead we got some update of someone else. The Canadian Agenda such that they didn’t want to see us be successful. No one cares about Regan Street. Affiliated with Stalina Frost…They care about us! Real Americans like Luciiiii and Ricky James!”

Ricky looks around.

Ricky: “And that’s why we’re out here. Because while people are tired of the Regan Streets…”

The crowd boos.

Knots: “Regan Street was injured! They’re on her because we gave an update!”

Ricky: “They want to see the Sienna Swanns…the Bree Lancasters….the Ricky Jameses! The stars, the real American stars, and you will see me in action, week to week, bringing the ratings, bringing the people…that’s right. You want to see us. The ratings don’t line. Last Grasp of Reality. All me. Regan Street…DEAD!”

Sharper: “Oh no…”

The crowd meanwhile starts to cheer. Ricky continues.

Ricky: “So SCW…keep the camera on us until we don’t want it anymore. That’s how you’re going to get ratings and we will overcome your Canadian agenda!”

We cut to see David Helms storming to the ring, holding a steel chair.

Sharper: “Oh look out! David Helms!”

Knots: “With a chair!”

James continues to speak as he then rolls into the ring. Lucy shrieks and drops down and rolls to the floor. Ricky turns and Helms throws the chair at the face of James. James catches it and Helms jumps up and drills him with the Nightmare on Helms Street. The crowd erupts in cheers. James hits the mat and rolls over in pain. Helms lands on his feet from the impact and then turns and backs up and falls through the ropes to the floor. Clear anger on his face, he then storms to the back. Lucy Huckabee-Sanders slides into the ring and goes over to James, who holds his face in pain.

Sharper: “David Helms just damn near took Ricky James’ head off!”

Knots: “The good news is that the actual ratings should go through the roof for that!”

Helms storms to the back as the crowd chants for Helms as Ricky James, continues to hold his face in pain. Lucy Huckabee-Sanders glares at Helms, yelling in Spanish. After several moments, the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see a shot of what appear to be the feet of a lizard. The feet start to move forward in slow motion, with shaking added with each step. The camera starts to back up, slowly panning up, revealing the feet to be actually connected to inflated legs. The shaking continues, along with added sound effects to make clear the “impact” of each step. The camera keeps panning up to show the stomach of what appears to be a lizard or maybe a T-Rex. The shaking and sound-effects continue before panning up to see Kim William’s inside the costume, revealing it to be an inflated T-Rex costume, the head over the window for Kim to see out of. We also notice that Kim is making the sound effects. The camera backs up to show that T-Rex head wearing Datura’s Unsanctioned Championship “belt” as a crown.

Sharper: “Our new unsanctioned champion?”

Knots: “Our? Doing a lot of heavy lifting there! SCW doesn’t recognize this!”

Sharper: “Apparently the Lizard King would…”

Kim: “ALL HAIL THE LIZARD KING! HIS CHAMPION HAS ARRIVED!”

Kim Williams continues to step forward, making her sound-effects. We notice Jessica Lasiewicz shaking her head in the background.

Jessica: “Yeah…this will only end well.”

Kim smiles.

Kim: “FIGHT ME! EVERYONE! FIGHT ME!”

Kim steps forward as the camera focuses on her feet again as the scene fades to black.

Fade into the outside of a church at dawn. A decrepit old church stands on a gravel lot surrounded by patches of overgrown grass and weeds. Age has yellowed its white paint and entropy is slowly eating it away, causing it to crack and flake off the wood siding. Behind it, the morning sun slowly rises, casting its light over the pitched roof and surrounding the building in an orange aura. As the sky warms Willie Nelson’s “Time of the Preacher” plays. Slowly we move toward the church. To the left of the front stoop a rotting sign swings on rusted, squealing hinges. The letters, faded but still legible, read CHURCH OF THE HAND OF GOD.

Cut to the inside of the church. A fine layer of dust covers the floor and the empty pews which are long deserted by parishioners who either fled to other houses of worship or died off over time until the numbers dwindled to zero. Moving through the aisle, bibles are seen sitting on the pews or resting in the slots on the back of the benches.

The sound of clocking boot heels echo loudly across the nave for the first time since the elder Bush was in the White House. Then, an overhead shot. A dark figure strolls down the aisle. Black hair, white skin, black suit. Their heels clip-clocking on the creaking floorboards. The camera slowly lowers and tilts down until it levels with their back, then follows them as they stroll toward the pulpit. They start to softly sing along with the music under their breath.

We close up on their black gator boots and the black denim covered legs above them. They walk heel-to-toe and each step is deliberate. The camera tracks them all the way to the pulpit, where they ascend a single stair before landing on the platform and turning away. The camera cuts to a lectern, standing solemn, covered in spiderwebs and grime. The boots sound three times before the dark figure enters the frame from neck to stomach. The suit is solid black with a matching shirt. A red clergy tab runs under their collar and across their throat.

The camera raises from the lectern, following the cut of the dark figure’s shoulders and neck, past the smooth jaw and lips moving to the words, a roman nose and piercing blue eyes. This is LEGION. The camera slowly moves forward until their face fills the frame. As the song transitions to a twangy guitar solo, Legion looks directly into the camera and smiles.

Legion: “Hello.”

Cut to black. Whispering voices rise from the inaudible depths, at first only a few, but then there are many more, all growing louder, and each in its own voice. Some deep and masculine, some feminine, and others grinding like a buzzsaw chewing through wood. Dozens, maybe hundreds, of voices, diverse in tone and articulation, but all of them echoing the same words: WE ARE MANY.

LEGION appears on the screen in bold red lettering for a few moments before fading to black.

The scene opens up to a panning shot of the crowd inside the T-Mobile Arena in Kansas City.

Sharper: “That’s right. LEGION on his way to SCW and we can tell you right now, he will be making his debut next week on this program.”

Knots: “Another huge new talent. Another person to enter the fray as SCW is as chaotic as ever. How can he manage it all?”

Aaron Blackbourne vs. Kandis

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. The tune of “My Name” by From Ashes To New begins, the lyrics starting about eight seconds into the song. White lights slowly begin to envelop the stage as we see that smoke has also begun to engulf it. The Tron also comes to life with clips of Aaron Blackbourne in action, both as himself and as his various demon incarnations, as well as clips of his various artistic endeavors including writing, painting, drawing and digital art. During this, we see a figure standing in the smoke, but that and the lighting make it impossible to tell who the silhouette belongs to. When the song hits the chorus, pyro suddenly goes off on the sides of the stage in sync with the silhouette throwing his arms in the familiar raised and outstretched pose, the smoke clearing almost as if on command to reveal the creative soul himself, causing the fans erupt into cheers. The lights start to come back on, although they're both dimmed and rotating between every color in the spectrum to the beat of the song, as Blackbourne begins making his way down to the ring, happily accepting high fives from the fans with a smile.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Seattle, Washington, he is Aaron Blackbourne!”

As he reaches ringside he suddenly leaps onto the apron and quickly climbs so that he’s got one foot on the top turnbuckle, and in tune with the chorus kicking in a second time he briefly crosses his arms across his chest before throwing them out in the same raised and outstretched pose as before, the lights going out again as white spotlights suddenly come on and converge upon him as he closes his eyes and basks in this moment, also letting the lyrics of the song serve as a reminder of exactly who he is and why he does this. When the chorus ends, Blackbourne leaps from the top into the ring as the lights completely return to normal, removing his black jacket and setting it into his corner before he begins doing some light warm-ups for the match ahead.

Sharper: “Aaron Blackbourne now seemingly on his own. We’re not sure whether he and Owen are on the same page after Owen effectively said he was done with the Perfect Pack at Last Grasp.”

Knots: “Either way, Blackbourne may be holding on. Him facing Kandis isn’t a coincidence. Peyton Rice was called out by Kandis. Supposed to face her at Last Grasp. She’s on sabbatical to watch over Kelcey. Blackbourne stepping up tonight.”

The opening bass of "Baby Got Back" begins and Kandis steps out from the curtain, a sway in her step. The music cuts to a remixed version of the chorus, with added bass, and Kandis turns around to wiggle her bountiful rear end. Tommy Valentine walks out with her. Some of the males in the crowd cheer as Kandis turns back and starts down the ramp. Tommy follows.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by Tommy Valentine, from Santa Barbara, California, she is Kandis!”

When Kandis gets to the ring steps, the line skips in the remix:

"My anaconda don't-- my anaconda don't-- my anaconda don't want none unless you got buns, hon!"

Kandis shakes her hips in time to the words, then steps through the ropes and slaps her ass right at the whip sound. The bass line continues as Kandis bounces on her feet a little, shaking all of her assets. She enters the ring as Tommy walks around, admiring the view.

Sharper: “Kandis meanwhile a bit happier. A win-“

Knots: “Two according to her.”

Sharper: “Well a win, she claims by forfeit against Peyton Rice. Then Crystal Zdunich came out to challenge her after and Kandis defeated her. Maybe things turning around for these two.”

Kandis looks at Blackbourne as she smirks and the bell sounds. Aaron steps out and Kandis walks along the ropes for a moment and then turns and runs over at Aaron, but Aaron ducks a clothesline attempt. Katya: “Because using crazy to take our crazy, not exactly ideal. You want to finish it…I’ll make sure you can. I’ll convince the board to waive any punishment. Just find your shot and make sure this time, you drop that Wonderland delusional jackass on his head.”

Katya and Blake lock eyes. Katya now lets go of Blake’s hand.

Katya: “Sasha wants to play nice. This isn’t about playing nice.”

Blake: “You don’t think I realize the irony of you making a deal with me when a few months ago you wanted me out of here.”

Katya: “I don’t have to like it. But one thing I understand that my sister doesn’t…taking it from my father, sometimes you need to make an agreement for the greater good.”

Blake steps back.

Katya: “You have another opportunity. Get it done.”

Katya walks past Blake as Blake just remains looking forward, uncertain of what to think. The scene then fades to black.

Backstage, the scene that is shown is a corridor. Staging supplies are pushed against the cement wall. Xander is shown pacing, his combat boots slapping against the hard ground. Artemis is seated up on a stack of plywood sheets, legs crossed. Xander is taping his hand, over and over, tightly. Artemis arches her eyebrow towards him, sensing his restlessness.

Artemis: “Relax already. You didn’t do anything wrong.”

Valentine: “I know.”

Jessica Winters approaches Xander, microphone in hand. Xander spots her immediately, releasing a sigh of disgust in her direction, stopping in his tracks. Jessica Winters ignores Xander’s protest, walking up to him instead, raising the microphone.

Winters: “Xander, last time we saw you, you left Regan Street injured after that Martial Bane onto the ring apron. The injury is serious enough that she’s out indefinitely. Any comment? Any remorse?”

Valentine: “Look, I promised her that I’d hurt her, I’d take her out. And surprise, surprise, I did just that. Sure, she gave me a hell of a fight, showing that she aimed to hurt me too. Unfortunately for her, I pulled the trigger before she could.”

Winters: “Do you take pleasure in that fact? That you kept that awful promise?”

Xander stares down at his hands, hesitating in his response.  He shoots a look up at the ceiling, spitting some air out before finally settling his eyes on Jessica Winters again.

Valentine: “I know what’s it like to be hurt bad. I know how frustrating it is to be sidelined indefinitely. I know how scary it is to when your future is uncertain. While I proved I’m a man of my word, my victory is bittersweet. Let’s be honest, she shouldn’t have challenged me to do it.”

Winters: “David Helms is gunning for you in tonight’s main event. He’s coming off that agonizing World Title loss to Bree Lancaster, sees you as a perfect candidate to take his frustration and anger out on. Months ago, Tommy Valentine rudely interrupted your match. Tonight’s the rematch, but the stakes are much higher. Are you concerned at all about how dangerous David might be tonight?”

Xander brings his hand to his forehead. Artemis rolls her eyes. Xander lowers the hand, pushes up on the United States Championship that haphazardly hangs from his shoulder.

Valentine: “I get it. I might have been the one to hurt David months ago, sidelining him and killing his momentum. Now add the fact that I hurt his wife bad that night when he was supposed to be focusing on the World Title. It might have just been enough to knock him off his game. So yeah, blame me, David. Blame me for everything. It is all my fault.”

Xander turns towards the camera now, pointing towards it.

Valentine: “So come on, David. Give me your best shot. Show me that ruthless vengeance you’re harboring. You’re a real man, unlike most these sheep back there in the locker room. Fight me. I dare you.”

Xander shoves the microphone away before turning his back on Jessica Winters. He returns to wrapping his fists with tape. Jessica Winters gives one smile towards the camera.

Doom & Groove vs. Suited & Booted

A black and white video vignette begins rolling on the screens, showing Lyza Reyes dressed as Charlie Chaplin on the moon. There is no dialogue, but simply piano music playing with the pace of the footage. She's caught in the middle of a tug of war match between a U.S. Spaceman, and a small group of miniature aliens. Before determining which side pulls Lyza once and for all, the feed goes dead. Television static comes through, which leads to a shot of Devin Brando, standing in the center of war born chaos. Half of his face is painted with his former persona’s essence. He glides his hand down his face before he starts down the centerline. The venue goes black.

“There’s no right, there’s no wrong, there’s only popular opinion.”

All while these videos play, the introduction of “Clockwork” by Hyper comes and goes. When the beat drops, Lyza Reyes and Devin Brando make their way out from behind the curtain. Devin gives the world a solemn look while Lyza moves around him, taking in the energy of their environment. When she clears out of his way, the Last King starts his way down the ramp. Lyza takes the time to slap some of the hands of the fans. Brando doesn’t seem invested in the action. When they make their way to the end of the ramp, Devin looks to both sides of himself. Lyza stops in front of him and turns to face him. Brando’s eyes fall on her and she gives him a pat on the shoulder before backing away.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are the team of Lyza Reyes and Devin Brando, Doom & Groove!”

With a nice turn of the heel, Reyes hit the ring steps while Devin opts to slide underneath the bottom rope. While the man rises, Lyza leaps over the top rope and scales the nearest turnbuckle. She points to some of the “Lyzanities.” When she gets off the turnbuckle, she turns to face the hard camera. Devin stands in their corner, seated against the second turnbuckle. She comes over and levels herself onto the top turnbuckle, finalizing their tandem as they await the beginning bell.

Shaper: “Doom & Groove impressive at Last Grasp of Reality. A hell of a match between them and Light in the Darkness, two of the new teams here in SCW. Tonight, they level up to face the Tag Team Champions.”

Knots: “Non-title tonight. But you can see. There’s just a sense that this could be one of the many matchups that could define this division. And you look at the Tag Division. Even with Regan Street and Sienna Swann injured, it’s as strong as ever.”

Sharper: “And Doom & Groove looking to put everyone on notice. Yes, they’re the World’s Best, winning that tournament last year. But any doubt, it would be removed in this one with a victory over the champs.”

Out go the lights with a flick of a switch causing the arena to buzz with excitement, all eyes shift from the ring to the entrance way when the opening guitar from Shoot to Thrill by AC/DC hit’s over the P.A System and when the drums kick in after that, the lights surrounding the arena stage begin to blink on and off, then and only then when the lyrics kick into full gear the the lights come on to reveal Chris Cannon and Lucas Knight standing side to side at an angle, both men wearing three piece suits, the World Tag Team Championships resting on their shoulders. Already standing in the ring in a pants suit with white blouse with microphone in hand is the beautiful Tipper Witherbee...

Tipper: “Ladies and Gentlemen, It is my esteemed honor to introduce to you the team hailing from London, England, they weighed in tonight at a combined weight of four-hundred and sixty-five pounds! They’re your SCW World Tag Team Champions…  Let's hear it for Chris Cannon, Lucas Knight, they’re Suited and BOOTED!!”

Both men smirk as the crowd roars, Cannon and Knight look to the other and nod before walking down towards the ring now loosening their ties. Once at ringside they pull the ties down and remove their jackets before walking around the ring towards the timekeeping area. Once there they hand their jackets to the team at ringside before beginning to roll up their sleeves. Looking at the other they nod and slide into the ring and walk over to a respective corner to climb and look out at the crowd while lifting the World Tag Team Championships. After stepping back down, Chris and Lucas pace a little before giving Tipper a hug each, they then both sit on the middle rope to let Tipper exit the ring and hand her the belts, before then heading to their corner to speak tactics and await their opponents while Tipper watches on proudly...

Sharper: “Cannon and Knight meanwhile getting into the ring as a team for the first time this year. They’re waiting on the results of the Tag League for their next challenger.”

Knots: “And in the process, that has its own implications. But Knight and Cannon, experience is their forte. They’ve got it. They’ve been getting better, week to week. Think of it this way, they just started teaming in the summer!”

Sharper: “It’s impressive what they’ve done, but there’s also no more surprise. Teams now know what they are getting. You don’t become Tag Champs on a fluke.”

The bell sounds as Brando starts off for his team, Cannon for his. The two look at one another and step forward and the crowd roars before the two lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Chris turns into a side headlock. He pulls back. Devin pulls him into the ropes and then fires him off. Chris bounces off and Devin steps up and shoulders Chris down. The crowd ohs and Chris looks up and Devin motions for him to get up. Chris rolls over and does. He nods and the two lock-up again. They push back on one another a bit before Chris, this time, goes for an arm wrench. He pulls on the arm and then pushing Devin into the ropes. He goes to fire him off, but Devin spins through and sends Chris in. Chris bounces off and again Devin shoulders him down. Chris rolls over and looks out and nods.

Sharper: “Again, Devin Brando shoulders down Cannon.”

Knots: “Time for a new plan.”

Chris gets up nodding and then turns and goes for a hard right. Devin blocks it and Chris counters with a kick to the ribs. Chris nails him with another hard right and then kicks him again. He pushes Devin into the ropes and fires him off. Devin bounces off and Chris hits a running shoulder tackle of his own. Devin falls to the mat. Chris looks around, smirking as the crowd cheers. Devin starts to get up and nodding before Chris grabs him and goes to drag him over to the neutral corner, but Devin blocks it. Chris tries to drive him in again, but Devin elbows him in the ribs and then again. Chris staggers back and Devin turns and headbutts. Chris stumbles to the ropes. Devin runs into the ropes and in the process, tags in Lyza. Devin runs forward and Chris suddenly grabs Devin and throws him through the ropes, but Chris spins around as Lyza has climbed to the top rope and Lyza takes him down with a seated senton into a pin.

Lyza runs into the ropes and bounces off, hitting a sliding dropkick, completing the Shotgun Suplex. The crowd ohs. Lucas rolls over. Devin turns and hooks the leg.

Sharper: “German suplex into a dropkick. Lucas Knight may be out!”

Knots: “And this could be quick, all things considered!”

Sharper: “And Lyza Reyes taking down Lucas Knight to the floor.”

Knots: “She may be looking to just make Knight’s night a further hell. He had a good start and now he’s a punching bag!”

Sharper: “Here she comes!”

Lyza runs into the far ropes and bounces off and then dives through the ropes, but Lucas turns and catches her with a European uppercut. The crowd ohs as Lyza hits the ground and then rolls over. Lucas looks around and Devin steps down to check on her and Lucas nails him with a hard right, causing him to fall back. (1) The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “My God! Two shots and Lucas Knight may have turned this around.”

Knots: “More than that. Lyza Reyes may be done!”

Lucas staggers over to Lyza. (2) He grabs her and turns and rolls her into the ring. Lyza rolls over, barely showing a sign of life. The official checks on her but Lucas moves in for the pin.

Chris holds on and swivels his hips before turning and stepping back and tagging Lucas back in. Lucas enters and Chris then hoists Lyza up and holds her up for a moment as Lucas watches him and Chris then launches her up, and Lucas catches her and into a powerbomb. The crowd ohs. He folds her over.

Devin pushes Lucas over and then turns and nails Chris with a hard right. Devin is forced back but Lucas turns and grabs Devin and pulls him back and Chris kicks him in the ribs. Lucas and Chris then both grab Devin and hit a double vertical suplex.

Sharper: “Both vertical suplex. Chris and Lucas going to try and dominate the ring.”

Knots: “Brando came in for the save, and now he’s caught!”

Brando rolls out of the ring and Lucas turns and grabs Lyza. He pulls her up, but Lyza counters with a jawbreaker. Lucas staggers back. Chris runs at Lyza and Lyza jumps up and hits a frankensteiner, sending Chris to the floor. She gets up and Lucas turns and kicks her in the ribs. He then spins her around. He hooks her arms and then goes to set up for the Monarchy Rules. Lyza however kicks her legs and flips down and pushes Lucas into the ropes. He bounces off and Lyza hits a jumping enziguri. Lucas staggers around and Lyza then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running dropkick to the face. Lucas hits the ropes and down to the mat. Lyza rolls him away and hooks the leg.

Sharper: “The turnaround. Lyza not quitting, constantly fighting. Now a cover!”

He turns back to Lyza who kicks him in the ribs and then jumps up and hits a snap headscissors, sending him into a boot from Devin. Lyza is just able to get up and hit a dropkick and Brando then hoists Chris up and completes the Ultra Combo with a spinebuster. He rolls through for the pin.

Lucas breaks it up. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Lucas with the save as Chris Cannon quickly got himself into trouble.”

Knots: “Nothing is safe in this one. All four won’t quit and so you just need to take what you can get and that was close! Damn close for the Tag Champs!”

Lucas gets up and stomps Devin in the back of the head. He rolls over. Lucas nails him again. Lyza then turns and runs over to Lucas and jumps up, taking him back and both go up and over the top rope to the floor.

Sharper: “Both up and over. Lyza sacrificing herself to open an opportunity!”

Knots: “Yeah and Devin and Chris both have taken a few hard hits.”

Chris rolls over as Devin does the same. They both get up and Devin kicks Chris in the ribs. He then pulls him in and places his head between his legs. He goes for a powerbomb, but Chris counters and manages to roll through into a sunset flip, but Chris ends up on his feet enough to flips forward into a jackknife pin!

3!

The crowd roars and Chris rolls off. Devin looks up and turns to the official who confirms the three count. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Chris Cannon & Lucas Knight, Suited & Booted!”

Sharper: “Chris Cannon using his agility, rolled through and got the three!”

Knots: “Devin Brando knows it. He’s not happy. Chris Cannon is just looking at him and that look tells you everything.”

Sharper: “They now know what they stand for and they can go. I doubt this is the only time we’ll see these two teams meet.”

Chris looks at Devin and nods as Devin nods back. Lyza rolls into the ring as Lucas gets up, wincing, holding his back a bit. Chris rolls to the floor, joined by Tipper Witherbee. The official drops down and raises their arm.

Sharper: “Talk about another hell of a match. The Tag Division is as strong as ever. I said it to start this match. This confirmed it.”

Knots: “Competition…you got it!”

Devin slowly gets up as Lyza does too. Chris and Lucas celebrate on the floor, Witherbee hands them their titles. They throw them on their shoulders before turning and heading to the back.

COMMERCIALS

“The Old Me” by Memphis May Fire plays throughout the arena and the crowd cheers as we see the Tag League logo come up on the screen. We then see a still for both A/C Unit vs. Bree Lancaster & ??? side-by-side with a still of The Psychonauts vs. Selena Frost & ???.

Sharper: “We just saw a hell of a tag match with the champions and Doom & Groove. Next week, on Breakdown, the semi-finals and the finals of the Tag League are here. We’ll find out who will challenge Suited & Booted at Retribution, but a lot of questions.”

Knots: “The Psychonauts won’t get a rematch of their only loss, to Frozen Hell. Selena Frost has to get a new partner. Regan Street injured. Same problem for Bree Lancaster – Sienna and her drew with A/C Unit. Bree says she’s got a partner though.”

Sharper: “I’m sure both do. They have many options. The question may be more whether they can rebuild the teamwork, the chemistry, they had with Swann or Street respectively. A/C Unit has been as tight as anyone and the Psychonauts have stunned everyone with how good they’re working. Next week, it comes to a head.”

Knots: “Semi-finals to kick us off. Finals to end the show. Winners face Suited & Booted at Retribution for the World Tag Team Championship!”

Sharper: “It’s all coming to an end next week. Not how virtually any of these teams though it would, but it’s here, and they better be ready!”

Knots: “And they’ll need to get through a big night to get to a possibly bigger one – Ace Marshall’s Trios Tournament cash-in, for two weeks from tonight…”

The still changes to show Ace Marshall, Cookie Dreams, Datura, Glory Braddock, Syren, Sophie James, Ravyn Taylor, Kimberly Williams, Jordan Majors, Holly Adams, Selena Frost, Asher Hayes, Chris Cannon, Katie Steward, Giovanni Aries and Bree Lancaster on the screen.

Sharper: “Sixteen competitors, including Bree Lancaster, the World Champion. Title on the line.”

Knots: “Bree, Selena, Asher, Jordan, Cookie all in the match too. Chris Cannon too. An opportunity for some opportunities, but none bigger than the World Title!”

Sharper: “And that’s already getting heated too, as we’ve seen. That’s all in two weeks.”

Knots: “Things on Thursday nights heating up!”

???: “AHEM!”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “What was that? Who was that?”

???: “AHEM! Hey! Up here! Look for the waving masked guy!”

The cameras cut to the crowd, panning a bit. Several fans, of course, start to wave too, trying to distract. Finally after a few cuts, we see Shilo Valiant waving his hand while holding the SCW Adrenaline Championship in the other. He throws it over his shoulder.

Sharper: “Shilo Valiant. The new Adrenaline Champion. And we didn’t mention it at Last Grasp. We were so focused on the how, we neglected to mention that Shilo Valiant is now a Supreme Champion!”

Shilo: “Hey! Cameraman! You found me. Maybe you should make sure that you stay on me because this may be one of the last times you see me. I mean I may be the SCW Adrenaline Champion. By the way, thank you Dylan. Worked like a charm…”

Shilo smirks.

Shilo: “And Glory…you should’ve known I’d have something up my sleeve. Maybe you got a bit cocky. Maybe you thought I lost a step. No…I’ve been thinking about this for two months! But too bad that while they thought it was about this…”

Shilo smirks, holding up the SCW Adrenaline Championship.

Shilo: “Well, it’s part of it, but folks, I’m a damn legend! And I didn’t even have to get too crazy to do it. Just find some poor asshole and a conceited champion and mix it in a cauldron. Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble, and bam, you got yourself a brand new Supreme Champion!”

The crowd roars. Shilo looks around.

Shilo: “Oh wait you didn’t know that. Just another slap in the face. Don’t worry, Sharper, Knots, I know it was nothing personal from you, but given that well, I haven’t been in the rolodex for this company for a while even when I WAS this company. Mr. Rise to Greatness….injured-“

Shilo points to his face.

Shilo: “In the line of duty…I didn’t get a phone call, text, carrier pigeon, anything for Last Laugh. And well, I said I was going to do what I wanted to do. No more necro, no more for your entertainment, just what entertains me and THIS….”

Shilo holds up the title.

Shilo: “This entertains me. And now, I have well…the last thing I needed. So SCW…you want this back. You want it to be something that matters…You know what you’re going to have to do…get on your knees…and well….entertain ME!”

Shilo throws the title over his shoulder. We then see Glory Braddock walking out from the back. The crowd cheers seeing her. Shilo then turns and waves. Shilo Valiant turns and starts to walk up the steps. Glory jogs down to the ring and then stops, realizing that won’t get her anywhere.

Sharper: “So what the hell does that mean? Shilo Valiant is going to walk out as the Adrenaline Champion?!”

Knots: “Ask him. It’s Shilo Valiant. He could be deciding to actually join the circus. I don’t know!”

Sharper: “Either way, Glory Braddock out here and she wants her title back, but Shilo’s so far away. She can’t get there.”

Knots: “She’s got some plan.”

Glory turns and determined heads to the back. The crowd roars as Glory storms up the rampway. Shilo turns and mockingly waves again before turning and jogging through the breezeway. The crowd looks on buzzing before we cut away.

Ace Marshall is backstage, walking down one of the hallways when he then smirks.

Ace: “Oh…Christy…Infamous loves Ace tonight, I guess. Still their lap dog?“

Christy and Christopher Richter are shown walking up to Ace and Ace smirks only for Richter to suddenly go low and lift Ace up and throw him into the wall. Ace slides down, falling to a leg and then awkward to the ground. Christy then steps over and stomps him repeatedly in the ribs.

Sharper: “Christy Matthews snapping! Just attacking Ace Marshall!”

Ace covers up as Christy gets a couple more good shots in and then steps back.

Christy: “Thanks for forgetting about me. Don’t worry…there’s some good to come from it. Even people who should know better still don’t respect me. Just reminds me I have to take what I want.”

Christy then looks at Christopher Richter and nods. Richter turns and walks off with Christy as the crowd boos. Ace grimaces in pain and looks up, trying to grab at a nearby crate.

Ace: “You’re welcome! Jesus…preferred Holly’s thank you…”

Ace winces and rolls over as the scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns as we see Glory Braddock walking into the office of Sasha. Sasha looks up.

Sasha: “Glory, look-“

Glory: “You know what I want. You know that if he leaves with that title, it’s going to be a stain on this company. One businesswoman to another-“

Sasha: “Glory…I get it. I’m already working on it. Do you think I like the fact that he’s being like this?”

Glory sighs.

Glory: “Just get me a rematch. Get him in the ring with me. Because I know you won’t say it, but I know I caused this. I should’ve let him lie, but here we are. So get me a rematch and I’ll make it good.”

Sasha: “I’ll do what I can.”

Glory: “Thank you.”

Glory looks down and turns and leaves the office.

Holly Adams vs. Polly Playtime

The camera cuts to the stage where we see a group of red-shirted security walking through the curtain and onto the stage. There’s then a loud click as the lights around the building flick off and darkness consumes the arena, with nothing but a few flashes from cameras in the crowd lighting the arena. Without warning we see black and white footage spring to life on the screen of Winston Churchill giving one of his most famous speeches, all the while the chilling sound of air raid sirens and war can be heard in the background.

"We shall fight on the beaches. We shall fight on the landing grounds. We shall fight in the fields, and in the streets. We shall fight in the hills. We shall NEVER surrender!"

The video suddenly burns away to reveal a second hidden image of the devious ex-president George H. W. Bush giving a speech of his own.

"When we are successful, and we will be, we'll have a real chance at this new world order..."

SLAY

"W FACE" by Kumi Koda kicks in full force around the arena. Holly Adams steps up onto the stage, blowing by the security and spinning into place at the top of the ramp. Holly poses with her hand on her hip and her other hand high in the air as she pageant waves to the booing crowd. Making their way onto the stage behind her are Syren, Ravyn Taylor, Christy Matthews, CHBK, Alexander Crowe, and Christopher Richter.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. Introducing first, representing Infamous and being accompanied to the ring by Syren, Ravyn Taylor, Christy Matthews, CHBK, Alexander Crowe, and Christopher Richter, from ‘The City of Angles’, she is Holly Adams!”

Holly starts her walk down to the ring with the rest of Infamous in tow, continuing her pageant wave, with a large smile on her face as the crowd continues to jeer. She stops halfway down the ramp and puts both hands on her chest thanking a fan for their ‘adoration’ for her. She smiles before continuing down the ramp. She walks to the other side of the ramp, pretending to put her hands out to high five and immediately pulls them away and goes back to pageant waving.

Knots: “Singles match, which hopefully means I’m safe from having to read Holly’s live tweeting.”

Sharper: “You know you can say no. Right, Jon? You do know that?”

Knots: “It’s my job! I’m commentating, reporting the latest news, keeping everyone at home updated!”

As Holly comes around the corner, she hops up onto the ring apron. She starts to sing along with her theme song, looking directly into the camera closest to her. She gives a million-dollar smile before putting her hand on the camera and pushing it away and she gets into the ring.

Sharper: “Regardless, you’re right, Holly won’t have time to be tweeting during this one, but she might not want to, anyway.”

Knots: “That’s true, she’s planning to take out her frustrations stemming from being paired with Polly during the SCW Tag League. Didn’t get a lot of chances during that four-way. You have to imagine that she’ll also be looking to release even more frustration after coming up short in that match, missing out on a United States Championship opportunity.”

Infamous circles around ringside and takes their place near the commentary desk. Holly then grabs the top rope, bends down, and then snaps back quickly, flipping her blonde hair over her head, smiling brightly for the cameras. As she takes her place in the ring, she starts her pageant wave once again as her music dies down.

Sharper: “Holly would’ve loved that in her back pocket before going into the gauntlet for the World Championship two weeks from now, but she’ll have to go in without it now. Before that though is her opponent here tonight, Polly Playtime.”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words ‘START GAME’ show up on SCW’s Jumbotron.  A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play. The music plays for quite some time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Polly emerges from the backstage area wearing a frilly pink skirt and a very cute and fashionable strapless crop top that has black paw prints on it.  She is carrying a personally made microphone, clearly wanting to make the world wait to see her.  She begins her walk towards the ring.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime making her way to the ring and while we know Holly’s eager to get her hands on Polly, it’s clear that this goes both ways.”

Knots: “Right, they’ve both made it clear that this partnership wasn’t ever going to bloom into a lasting friendship. Plus, like Holly, she’s gotta be sour about coming up short at Last Grasp of Reality. Polly almost saved the match at the end by breaking up the pin at the end, but she was just a second too late.”

The crowd boos as she arrives down at the ringside area.  She walks up the steel steps and into the ring and is very careful to not show off any of her assets.  She hands over her personalized microphone to Jason Phillips and tells him to announce her using ONLY that microphone. He looks at her and just shrugs before taking it. Polly poses for the crowd as Phillips announces her.

Phillips: “And her opponent, from Panguitch, Utah, she is the girl that loves to play, Polly Playtime!”

Holly suddenly runs forward and snatches the microphone from Phillips before driving it into the back of Polly’s head. The crowd ohs as Polly falls forward and rolls out of the ring, falling down to the mats while holding the back of her head. Holly throws the microphone out of the ring and throws her head back while letting out an obnoxious cackle.

Sharper: “Oh, and Holly just nailed Polly in the head with that custom microphone!”

Knots: “Holly getting a quick cheap shot in before the match has even started.”

Polly brings herself up on the barricade. Holly sees this and slides out of the ring, heading after her. Polly hobbles away. She ends up next to the announcer’s desk, leaning up against it. Infamous lurks near. Holly comes up from behind Polly, but Polly grabs the water bottle of Knots and splashes it into Holly’s face. The crowd roars.

Knots: “Hey, my water!”

Holly flails around, falling back while wiping at her face.

Sharper: “Polly now, using her own underhanded tactics, striking right back at Holly!”

Polly takes the rest of the bottle and smashes it against Holly’s head, spilling the remaining water everywhere. Holly falls against the apron while holding her head and wiping her face. She gets away by rolling into the ring.

Knots: “Polly, that’s my water!”

Sharper: “Let it go, Jon!”

Polly turns and tosses the empty water bottle at Knots.

Knots: “Oh, great, thanks!”

The entirety of Infamous rushes towards Polly, but she slides back into the ring to escape. The referee is checking on Holly, who’s in the corner wiping her face erratically.

Holly: “My eyes! I’m blind! Polly Pocket blinded me!”

The referee shrugs and heads over to Polly, who waits in the corner while keeping an eye on Infamous. The referee signals for the bell.

Sharper: “Well, both competitors in the ring now, and I guess that means this match is underway, despite Holly’s claims of not being medically able.”

Knots: “That’s my water all over her face! I can never get that back!”

Sharper: “Damn it, Jon, just take mine.”

Knots: “The complete lack of respect, to use my water as a foreign object. I’m expecting a fine to be handed down. That was my water, Polly!”

The bell rings. Polly runs forward and hits Holly with a jumping double knee strike to the chest into the corner. She bounces off and Holly staggers out of the corner. Polly grabs her from behind by the hair and grabs her arm. She takes her down with a short-arm clothesline. She goes down for the cover.

2!

Holly breaks free just after two. She scrambles away before rising to her feet. Polly goes to grab at her, but Holly turns around and slaps her in the face. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Holly with a hateful slap!”

Polly stumbles back while holding her face. Holly goes after her and kicks her in the side. Polly falls to a knee, holding her side. Holly spins and drills her with a roundhouse kick. Polly falls to the mat and Holly goes down with her. She grabs Polly’s head, getting two handfuls of hair before slamming Polly down repeatedly.

Sharper: “And now ripping at Polly’s hair and slamming her to the mat!”

Knots: “Not going for the cover there, instead wanting to inflict some more punishment. It’s clear that I’m not the only one upset about how my water bottle was used.”

Holly continues to slam Polly’s head until she runs out of energy. With a final, half-hearted slam, she lets go and gets up. As she catches her breath, she stands tall and begins doing her pageant wave. The crowd boos. Holly does this for several moments, to the point where Polly begins to stir. A dazed Polly reaches up and yanks Holly down with a schoolboy.

1!

2!

Holly kicks out at the last second, immediately rolling out of the ring. She looks surprised.

Sharper: “A close one there while Holly was busy taunting! Thanking her lucky stars now that this match isn’t over.”

Holly slides halfway into the ring, but Polly runs at her and goes for The Head Turner. Holly slides back out and Polly comes up empty.

Sharper: “Oh, and Polly, going for that devastating stomp, but Holly got out of the way at the last second.”

Holly cautiously circles the ring. Polly taunts her to come in. Suddenly, Syren hops up on the apron and gets Polly’s attention. Polly turns and lunges after her, but Syren hops back to the outside. Holly quickly runs in and rushes Polly, but Polly steps out of the way. Holly bounces chest first off of the ropes. She falls back into a waistlock from Polly. Holly throws an elbow back, catching Polly in the eye. Polly releases the hold and stumbles back. Holly turns and grabs her. She hooks her head and runs for the ropes before jumping to the second rope. She bounces off and plants Polly with a bulldog.

Sharper: “Holly, getting back on top now, taking Polly down with a great bulldog.”

Knots: “Showing her athleticism, too.”

Holly sits Polly up and kicks her in the spine. Polly stiffens up and sits up straight as Holly runs ahead of her and bounces off the ropes. She comes back and hits Polly with Beautiful. Blonde. Perfect. She rolls over and on top of Polly for the cover.

1!

2!

Polly kicks out. Holly brings herself up, taking Polly with her. She yanks Polly by the hair, leading to a harsh cry from Polly. Holly grips the hair and forearms Polly in the head, pushing her against the ropes. Holly again grabs the hair, dragging Polly to the middle of the ring. With her free hand, Holly begins doing her pageant wave as Polly winces. The referee warns Holly to get off the hair, but she ignores him and smiles out to the jeering crowd while continuing to wave.

Sharper: "Holly, savouring the moment, ripping at Polly's hair while taunting everyone here."

Suddenly, Polly reaches up and grabs at Holly's hair, yanking back. Holly and Polly continue to yank at each other's hair, both of them yelping in pain with every pull. The referee gets in between them, warning them both.

Sharper: "And it seems we're at a standstill."

Knots: "What an athletic contest between these two, both of whom are not unlike the legends of Greco-Roman wrestling, of which we are all inspired by in this business."

They both begin to slap at each other's heads as the referee tries to pull them apart. Polly swings her leg forward and kicks Holly between the legs. The crowd ohs as Holly releases her grip, keeling over.

Knots: "And Polly Playtime wins this honorable test of strength with an old school muff punt."

Sharper: "Excuse me?!"

Polly grabs Holly and hooks her arm before driving her down with a wrist-lock sitout side slam. Polly leans on the upper-half of Holly and pins her shoulders down with both hands.

1!

2!

Holly gets a shoulder up, breaking Polly's grip. Holly throws her legs up and manages to get them around Polly's head. Holly shifts to her stomach and pushes herself up with her hands, trapping Polly in a figure-four necklock. Polly - still having full use of her lower body - crouches and waddles to the ropes.

2!

3!

4!

Holly releases the hold and crawls forward while Polly rests on the ropes.

Knots: "Amazing flexibility shown by Holly Adams to get Polly into that hold."

Sharper: "She didn't quite have all of it, but by holding onto it for as long as possible, she might have done some damage."

Holly gets up and walks towards Polly, who's nursing her neck. Holly grabs at Polly, but Polly throws up a right hand. Holly blocks it before drilling Polly with a stiff forearm. She throws Polly across the ring and into the ropes. Polly bounces back while Holly spins, going for Beauty Killer. Polly ducks and runs through before stopping. Holly turns right into a toe kick, keeling over. Polly hops on her back and brings her down into a crucifix pin.

1!

2!

Holly breaks free at the last second. Polly bounces up quickly, getting up well before Holly. She leaps up and drives Holly's head into the mat with The Head Turner. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Polly foregoes the cover, instead heading towards the corner.

Sharper: “Polly with that devastating stomp to the head, driving Holly right into the mat!”

Knots: “And perhaps surprisingly, she’s not going for the cover. She’s going up top!”

Polly climbs to the top rope and stands on the top turnbuckle, facing Holly. Holly appears to begin to stir, but falls back to the mat. The crowd buzzes as Polly steadies herself on the top turnbuckle, sizing Holly up. Holly finally brings herself to her feet with her back turned to Polly. Holly looks around a bit dazed and brushes herself off before shaking off the cobwebs.

Knots: “Might wanna look behind you, Holly!”

Holly takes a breath and turns around, turning right into Downplay from Polly. Polly lands hard onto Holly, plowing her into the mat with all of her weight. The crowd cheers a bit with some boos mixed throughout.

Sharper: “Holly turned and fell right into Downplay from Polly Playtime!”

Knots: “Polly’s just a few seconds away from proving that she wasn’t the weak link in this tag team, seconds away from proving Holly wrong!”

Polly takes a second to pose over Holly’s limp body. She then drops to the mat and wraps her legs around Holly’s head. She twists and turns, putting her and Holly stomach first on the mat.

Knots: “Looking for the Polly Pop now!”

Polly throws herself up and goes to drive Holly’s face into the mat, but Holly manages to break free, flinging herself backwards and out of the hold. Polly drives her knees into the mat, taking a second to clutch at her right knee in particular as Holly falls back into the corner just opposite of Polly.

Sharper: “Holly, though, getting out of it!”

Knots: “Polly might’ve tweaked her knee there, too.”

Polly hobbles up, still holding her right knee. Holly rushes her as she turns. Holly leaps up and sticks Polly with Blonde Ambition. The crowd boos as both women fall to the mat.

Sharper: “Oh, and Blonde Ambition from Holly! Almost out of nowhere!”

Knots: “And Holly’s still spent from the amount of offense Polly got in, but all she needs to do is cover her for the win!”

Holly crawls backwards and drapes herself over Polly, weakly hooking the far leg for the pin.

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds and “W FACE” plays as the crowd boos. Holly releases Polly’s leg but stays draped over her, catching her breath.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Holly Adams!”

Holly rolls off of Polly and slowly rises to her feet.

Sharper: “Some great back-and-forth between these two, but Holly comes out on top.”

Knots: “And much like Gavin Taylor when he pinned Katie Steward in the four-way match including these two at Last Grasp, Holly’s gotta be on cloud nine.”

As Holly finally gets to her feet, the referee raises her hand into the air. Holly uses her free hand to do her pageant wave, looking noticeably fatigued.

Sharper: “You mentioned Polly trying to prove that she wasn’t the weak link. I don’t think either of these two were weak links. This match showed that they both have the talent. If they could have put it together, who knows how far they could have gone in the SCW Tag League?”

Knots: “We’ll never know, though. What we do know is that Holly’s got the last laugh here tonight.”

The referee lets go of Holly’s arm, but Holly snaps at him to raise it up again. He reluctantly grabs her arm and raises it into the air in victory again as Holly continues her pageant wave towards the jeering audience.

“The Old Me” by Memphis May Fire plays throughout the arena and the crowd roars as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A shot of Owen Cruze comes up before cutting to Gavin Taylor, and then showing both.

Sharper: “Huge singles match here. Two young stars that can go. Owen Cruze stepping out on his own tonight. We have no heard from him and we can tell you that he won’t speak on anything involving Giovanni Aries. He’s focusing on his career and making a difference in his matches.”

Knots: “Well can he deal with the talent, and the ego, of Gavin Taylor?”

Sharper: “We’ll find out next!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

EARLIER TODAY:

We see Cid Turner and Asher Hayes about to enter the building.

Sharper: “Earlier today, it looks like Chad Evans has gotten pettier in his targeting of Cid Turner!”

Cid and Asher take their gear toward the building before we hear a random voice.

Voice: “ANIMAL BEATER!”

Cid turns as a man is shown wearing a mask, throwing a water balloon at Cid and Asher. He falls short of his mark, as it hits the ground a few feet in front of Cid, exploding with a red liquid expelling everywhere, covering the pants of Cid and part of his bags and even getting them on Asher Hayes too.

Cid: “What the?”

Asher: “Hey! What the hell is this?!”

Asher steps forward as the man turns and runs off. Cid looks down. Just then there’s another, though female, voice.

Voice: “PENGUIN HATER!”

Cid turns as another balloon is thrown at him, a female protester running off. This one hits Cid on his leg. Cid turns as the red liquid covers his lower half. Cid turns and Asher grabs him and pulls him away and into the building.

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as we see Cid Turner now in his locker room, still in the same clothes he entered in, looking forlorn. Asher walks into the room.

Asher: “Dude, you should just change out of it.”

Cid: “But…”

Asher: “But what? Chad Evans was too much of a [bleep] to show up at Last Grasp and now he knows that you’re actually still good. You can go, man. And next week, we’re going to win the Tag League. And you can shove that down his face. This…you know damn well he did it. He’s the one who put that fat assholes up to attacking you as the Hairless Penguin. He’s now doing this. All to screw with you. He can’t beat you in the ring. He’s a jealous old asshole. That’s all!”

Cid: “Yeah…I guess you’re right.”

Asher: “Of course I am! And Jesus, Cid, you knew it a few weeks ago. Why are you down again? We’re going to make history next week and you’re going to overcome God!”

Cid: “Just…I hoped it would be over for next week. I hoped Chad would just go away. And…he’s not…and just-“

Asher: “I hoped I could shut Tommy Valentine up. I didn’t. And we’re going to throw hands again. It’s just what happens. Same with Ricky. I’m not done with either. Won’t stop us. Let Chad show up next week. Let him try to screw with you. You got a real friend now….me.”

Cid: “Yeah….Yeah!”

Asher: “Exactly!”

Cid stands up.

Cid: “I’m going to get changed…”

Asher: “Good.”

Cid: “Uh…what the hell is this red stuff though? You don’t think?”

Asher: “It’s best not to think about that.”

Cid heads off as we cut away.

Owen Cruze vs. Gavin Taylor

The haunting opening lines of "Legends Never Die" fill the arena, as smoke begins to form in the entranceway, the fans on their feet.

“Legends never die

When the world is callin' you

Can you hear them screaming out your name?

Legends never die (oo-oh)”

As the beat kicks in, a silhouette forms in the smoke, the noise in the arena cranking up a notch.

“They never lose hope when everything's cold

And the fighting's near

Owen Cruze steps out through the smoke, and stands on the stage, with a look left and right. And then a smirk, and a nod of acknowledgment to the fans

“It's deep in their bones. They run into smoke when the fire is fierce

Oh, pick yourself up 'cause

Dropping to one knee, he punches the floor, pyrotechnics filling the space behind him, before he starts to walk down to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. Introducing first, from Newquay, England, he is Owen Cruze!”

Sharper: “We’ve tried to get a word with Owen Cruze after his words at Last Grasp of Reality, but he’s declined in order to focus on his career, which is also the reason he’s seemingly turned his back on the Perfect Pack.”

Knots: “Well, as far as splits go, it was one of the more amicable ones we’ve seen in this business. As for what it means for Owen, only time will tell. We’ll see if that sole focus on himself and his career benefits him tonight.”

Owen slides into the ring under the bottom rope, and straight to a turnbuckle, climbing it and lifting one arm in the air, before then applauding the whole arena, jumping down as his music starts to fade. Then, the lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

Whoa is me

I'm so whoa

See me decked out from my head to my toe

Whoa is me

I'm so whoa

Everywhere I go I'm a one man show

The crowd boos as “All-Star” Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched.

Say whoa (whoa)

The more I feel it whoa (whoa)

The more I need it whoa (whoa)

You say whoa

Whoa is me

I'm so whoa

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Vancouver, British Columbia by way of Los Angeles, California, he is The All-Star, Gavin Taylor!”

Sharper: “And while Owen Cruze starts to focus more on himself, we shift to someone who already has a head start on focusing on themselves.”

Knots: “Right, Gavin Taylor has certainly mastered that art, and he continues to look out for number one while on his way to face Xander Valentine for the United States Championship. Gavin’s worried about finding the best medical care for the aftermath of his match with Xander and Owen might be able to take advantage of Gavin looking ahead.”

Gavin smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope. He pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. He hops down and goes to the corner opposite of Owen. The bell sounds and Gavin takes his jersey off of the ground and throws it at Owen while running towards him. Owen dodges it and sticks his foot out. Gavin trips over Owen’s foot at full speed. He hits the mat face first and slides into the corner. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Gavin, trying to play dirty right out of the gate, but Owen was ready for it!”

Gavin rolls out of the ring and stands next to the steel steps, trying his best not to look embarrassed. Owen runs forward and hits Gavin with a baseball slide, sending him flying into the barricade. Owen swiftly slides out on the opposite side of the corner and measures Gavin up with the steps in between them. Owen runs forward and hops up on the steps before leaping off with a front dropkick right to Gavin’s chest. Gavin flies over the barricade as Owen lands hard on his back. The referee begins the count while the crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Hot out of the gate is Owen Cruze, risking his own body to do some damage!”

Knots: “Cruze is showing his newfound focus, showing he has what it takes to just straight up fight.”

Owen gets up and winces while holding his back.(1) He shakes it off and walks towards the barricade. (2) Owen reaches over, but Gavin comes up with a right hand, staggering Owen. (3) Gavin hops up onto the barricade and jumps off, going for a dropkick of his own. Owen just backs up, letting Gavin crash to the mats. (4) Owen picks Gavin up, laying in a few harsh forearm shots into Gavin’s back on the way up. (5) Owen whips Gavin into the steps, but Gavin hops over them, stumbling back to the barricade. (6) Gavin slides back into the ring, looking a bit dazed. Owen slides in after him.

Sharper: “Both men back in the ring now.”

Knots: “There’s been too much action for my liking around the desk tonight.”

Gavin stomps Owen before he can stand up, sending him back to the mat. He stays on top of him, laying in several more stomps as the crowd boos. Gavin picks Owen up and props him up against the ropes. He hits him with a knife-edge chop. The crowd woos. Gavin clutches at his chest, but Gavin rips his arms away and hits him with another chop. The crowd woos again. Gavin drills Owen with a European uppercut before whipping him across the ring. Owen comes back and Gavin catches him, twisting him into the air for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, but Owen shifts in mid-air and spikes Gavin with a float over DDT. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Owen with an incredible counter, planting Gavin Taylor in the middle of the ring!”

Owen gets up and stomps Gavin, pushing him closer to the corner. He jumps over Gavin and hops to the top rope in one fluid motion, turning to face Gavin.

Knots: “And now Cruze might be looking to end this early here, maybe looking for C-Section!”

Owen steadies himself and aims for Gavin, but Gavin rolls to the middle of the ring before Owen can jump. Owen watches as Gavin pulls himself up using the ropes and taps himself on the temple, presumably boasting about his in-ring awareness. The crowd boos. Gavin turns around but is immediately impaled with a Cruze Missile from Owen. The crowd roars as Gavin falls to the mat.

Sharper: “Cruze Missile! Owen, almost clearing the entirety of the ring!”

Knots: “Gavin was busy bragging about getting out of the way for one of Owen’s moves, then he just stumbled right into another one!”

Owen crawls forward and hooks the far leg.

Gavin kicks out a bit before three. Owen gets up and grabs Gavin’s legs before hooking them and flipping over with a sharpshooter.

Sharper: “Gavin, caught in the submission now.”

Gavin quickly crawls forward, dragging himself and Owen towards the ropes. He reaches out and clutches the bottom rope. Owen keeps the hold locked in while the referee begins the count.

2!

3!

4!

Owen lets go, stumbling forward a bit.

Knots: “Slight size advantage for Gavin and he used it there, immediately powering towards the ropes, but it seems that Gavin isn’t prepared for Owen’s new approach and attitude!”

Gavin pulls himself up using the ropes, but Owen comes from behind him and jumps onto his back, locking in a sleeper with a grapevine. Gavin drops back, slamming Owen into the mat. He leans back for the cover, still in the hold.

Owen gets a shoulder up, but Gavin shifts him back to the mat.

1!

Owen again kicks out, this time releasing the hold and pushing Gavin off of him. Owen pops up as Gavin gets to his knees. Owen goes to grab Gavin, but Gavin shoots the back of his hand out, slapping Owen with a sack tap. The crowd ohs before booing as Owen keels over and falls to the mat.

Sharper: “Oh, and I think Gavin went a bit low there.”

Knots: “Based on Owen’s reaction, I might agree. New attitude or not, that’ll stop you in your tracks!”

Gavin gets up to his feet while the referee questions him. Gavin shakes his head and shrugs. He turns to Owen and hits him with a harsh stomp to the head. Owen rolls onto his back. Gavin steps on Owen’s stomach as he makes his way to the corner. He turns and climbs backwards up to the second rope before leaping off with a hard elbow drop. He keeps the elbow on Owen’s chest for the cover.

1!

2!

Owen gets a shoulder up just after two. Gavin stays on top of Cruze, using both hands to pin Owen’s wrists to the mat. Owen rests his shoulders back on the mat.

1!

Owen shoots a shoulder up. Gavin throws his legs into the air before driving them both into Owen’s gut. Gavin slides his knees off of Owen. He keeps the wrists pinned as Owen’s shoulders hit the mat again.

1!

Owen kicks out. Gavin again goes for the double knees, but Owen shoots his knees up. Gavin inadvertently drives his own chest into Owen’s knees. He rolls off of Owen, grasping at his chest. Both men get up, Gavin falling forward onto the top rope. Owen runs up behind him and leaps up, going for a jumping reverse bulldog, but Gavin holds the ropes, leading to Owen falling to the mat.

Sharper: “Gavin, standing his ground for the counter.”

Gavin goes to Owen, who’s getting to his feet. Gavin gets behind Owen and locks him in a headlock before turning and dropping down with Owen for an inverted headlock backbreaker. Owen bounces off of Gavin’s back before falling to the mat. Gavin crawls forward and hooks the far leg for the cover.

1!

2!

Owen breaks free. Gavin gets up and bends down to bring Owen with him. Owen breaks free and hits Gavin with an uppercut thrust, staggering him. Owen goes for a step-up enzuigiri, but Gavin ducks it. Owen falls onto his stomach on the mat and Gavin suddenly jumps on him, laying in several forearm shots to the back of Owen’s head. The crowd boos as Gavin continues the onslaught.

Sharper: “Gavin’s just all over Owen now after Owen showed some life.”

Knots: “Owen ruled the start of this match. Gavin understandably wants to snuff out any momentum on Owen’s side, because he’s seen what happens once Owen gets rolling!”

Gavin gets off of Owen and violently picks him up. He whips Owen hard into the corner, running directly after him. Owen hits the corner chest first and Gavin drills him immediately with a running back elbow. Owen stumbles out of the corner, Gavin backing up quickly while keeping Owen in his sights. He spins Owen around and drills him with the Dependable Roundhouse. The crowd ohs as Owen falls to his hands and knees. Gavin bends over brings Owen up to his knees, propping him up straight. Owen is noticeably dazed. Gavin runs back and bounces off of the ropes before jumping forward with the All-Starmaker. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “All-Starmaker!”

Knots: “And Owen could be out.”

Gavin quickly crawls over Owen and hooks both legs with authority.

1!

2!

Owen gets a shoulder up just in time. Gavin looks up at the referee in disbelief. Owen sits up, but Gavin drills him with a forearm, sending him back down. Gavin hooks both legs again.

1!

2!

Owen kicks out again, quicker this time. Gavin gets up. He picks Owen up and puts him in position for a powerbomb.

Sharper: “Quick set of pins didn’t get it done for Gavin, but he’s looking to wrap it up now.”

Knots: “Setting up for the Highlight of the Night!”

Gavin hits Owen in the back with a double axe handle smash, sending Owen back down to a knee. He brings Owen back up, back into position. He lifts him up before settling him on his shoulder. Gavin goes to reach back, but Owen slips off, landing on his feet behind Gavin.

Sharper: “Owen, slipping out of it.”

Gavin turns around and Owen lunges forward with the Morality Super Kick. The crowd roars as Gavin goes stiff before falling to the mat.

Sharper: “Morality Super Kick! Owen taking Gavin down!”

Knots: “In a flash, Owen regains control!”

Owen stumbles forward and grabs both of Gavin’s legs before flipping forward with a jackknife pin.

1!

2!

Gavin breaks free. Both men lay on the mat. The crowd gives a round of applause.

Sharper: “Both competitors now, completely spent.”

Knots: “Not so much a back-and-forth as it is just both men having great spurts of offense until the other finds a way to finally counter.”

Sharper: “Eventually, something’s gotta give.”

Owen and Gavin both slowly rise to their feet, meeting in the middle of the ring. Owen hits Gavin with an open-handed chop to the chest. Gavin counters with a European uppercut, staggering Owen a bit. Owen comes back with a knife-edge chop. The crowd woos. Gavin goes for another European uppercut, but Owen shoots his arm up to block it. Owen hits Gavin with another knife-edge chop. The crowd woos again. Owen kicks Gavin in the leg before hitting him with a spinning backhand to the head. Gavin holds his head, stunned. Owen leaps up and hits Gavin with a standing dropkick, sending him right into the corner. The crowd roars while Gavin slowly slumps into a sitting position.

Sharper: “Owen maintaining the upper hand, unloading on Gavin with a series of strikes.”

Knots: “Ending it with a flourish, an absolutely beautiful standing dropkick!”

Owen runs to the opposite corner and measures up Gavin. He runs forward and leaps forward, going for a somersault senton in the corner, but Gavin slides out of the ring. Owen’s back crashes into the corner and he lands harshly to the mat on his neck.

Knots: “Came up empty!”

Sharper: “And a troubling landing for Owen Cruze. Gavin, sliding back in now.”

Gavin slides back into the ring, popping back up and going to grab Owen. Owen doesn’t fight back as Gavin turns him around and violently shoves Owen’s chest into the top turnbuckle. Gavin bends over and thrusts his shoulder into Owen’s back. He continues until the referee begins the count.

1!

2!

3!

Gavin relents and hoists Owen up, sitting him on the top turnbuckle. Gavin turns and brings Owen up, laying Owen’s back against his shoulder. The crowd begins to buzz as Gavin carries Owen out of the corner and off of the top rope.

Sharper: “Looking for Highlight of the Night again!”

Gavin reaches back, but Owen slips off once again.

Sharper: “Owen, getting free.”

Before Gavin can turn, Owen grabs him from behind and sets him up for a reverse DDT. He hoists Gavin up, going for a lifted version, but Gavin twists out of it. Gavin grabs at Owen’s arm and pulls him towards him, hooking the arm for the Desperation Buzzer-Beater.

Sharper: “Now Gavin with the counter, going for the STO.”

Owen throws an elbow back, catching Gavin in the head. Gavin stumbles away, holding his head. He turns back and goes to grab Owen, but Owen hits him with the Morality Super Kick. The crowd roars as Gavin bounces against the ropes from the impact before falling face first onto the mat.

Sharper: “Owen, another superkick!”

Knots: “Second big superkick of the match and he’s got Gavin right where he wants him!”

Gavin gets to his hands and knees, crawling forward while stunned from the kick. Owen runs and bounces off of the ropes. He rushes Gavin and leaps up before driving Gavin down with a Cruze Stomp. Gavin goes limp on the mat as the crowd continues to roar.

Sharper: “Follows it up with the Cruze Stomp!”

Knots: “And that’s it for Gavin.”

Owen drops forward and rolls Gavin onto his back. Owen hooks both legs, pulling them high into the air while driving his shoulder onto Gavin’s chest for the cover.

1!

2!

3!

“Legends Never Die” plays as the bell rings. Owen sits up and looks down at Gavin while nodding.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Owen Cruze!”

Owen gets up and the referee raises his hand in the air.

Sharper: “A great showing from both men, but Owen Cruze comes out on top here tonight.”

Knots: “Defeating the number one contender to the United States Championship… a big win for Owen. Gavin, meanwhile, still has that title shot, so he can’t mourn this loss for too long. He’s going to have to pull out all the stops against Xander Valentine.”

Owen looks out to the cheering crowd a bit longer before leaving the ring, stepping over an unconscious Gavin on his way out. Owen turns and walks backwards up the ramp, keeping an eye on Gavin, who’s only just beginning to stir. The referee checks on Gavin, who still seems dazed. Owen nods and turns before disappearing behind the curtain.

Breakdown opens up backstage to see Jaina Lancaster with Bree Lancaster. The crowd boos seeing her. Bree proudly holds the SCW World Championship over her shoulder.

Jaina: “I’m Jaina Lancaster and I’m here with Bree Lancaster, the SCW World Championship. You asked or some time here on Breakdown.”

Bree: “Thank you Jaina for obliging me. See, I’ve been giving it some thought tonight and well, it’s not right that I don’t reveal what is going to happen next week. See, after Selena’s insults and lies, all for putting the spotlight on herself, I realized something. I’m better than her.”

The crowd boos.

Bree: “Yes, I could mean in the ring, but I mean as a person. See, I’m going to make clear who is teaming with me next week to end the Tag League. Selena, the FACE of SCW, she needs to hide it. Well, I’ll make this simple. The person who will stand with me, we held the SCW World Tag Team Championship at one point together. That’s right…You’re going to bear witness and HATE it…because Andrew Raynes will be teaming with me.”

The crowd boos loudly.

Sharper: “Oh my…talk about a hell of a ringer!”

Bree: “And Andrew and I are going to go through whoever is in front of us. See, we have another plan. I’m already World Champion. Andrew Raynes has unfinished business. He wants to stick it to SCW. Great motivation. Well, we’re going to go through all of the teams in the Tag League. We’re going to win and then, Lucas…and Chris….We’re going to beat you for the World Tag Team Championship. Double champion…sounds good.”

Bree smirks.

Bree: “Selena, keep hiding. It won’t help you. And A/C Unit…sorry, your run to the titles is ending. This time, I’m going to beat you!”

Bree smiles as the crowd boos and the scene fades to black.

The scene opens up backstage as we see Selena Frost in one of the locker rooms. We see Glory Braddock with her.

Selena: “Look, I can’t say much on Dylan. We’ve never been the closest. But Regan and him are close and she told me before everything that he was getting right.”

Glory: “I’d rather ask him myself. But he’s apparently busy dealing with Raab and Minerva. Just…if they’re together, I’m going to go after him too. If he’s lying…I don’t like being lied to.”

Selena: “Totally get it.”

The door opens and Jessica Winters walks into the room, microphone in hand.

Selena: “And there’s our hint.”

Jessica: “I figured you’d be expecting me. Bree’s suggesting you’re hiding your partner.”

Selena: “Hardly doing any of that.”

Jessica: “Well Bree is bringing in Andrew Raynes.”

The crowd boos. Glory and Selena look at one another.

Glory: “Guess we should share then?”

Selena smirks.

Jessica: “Wait, you two?”

Glory: “I have a chance to maybe get a different kind of gold. Oh and maybe finish some unfinished business depending on how things go. More importantly, I get to face some of the best talent.”

Selena: “I don’t think I need to say much more than…BELIEVE IT…”

Selena smiles a bit. The scene cuts away.

“We’re All Mad Here” by Marquis of Vaudeville begins to play as the arena goes dark except for a spotlight. A few moments pass before Giovanni Aries walks out from the back with Cain Adams at his side. The crowd boos loudly as Giovanni Aries looks out at the crowd. He then pulls out a cigarette and a flip-lighter, lighting the cigarette before taking a puff and then starting to head to the ring.

Sharper: “No Alice Ames. Giovanni Aries not piggybacking on Cain Adams. There’s a purpose here.”

Knots: “He’s not even talking from the stands. He knows he can walk to the middle of the ring. I said it and it may be true. He’s outlasted everyone in the Perfect Pack. Owen is focusing on his own. Peyton Rice on sabbatical to take care of Kelcey. Aaron Blackbourne without a direction.”

Sharper: “And he piledrove Blake Mason for good measure. He defeated the man who positioned himself as the last line. The question is now what?”

Giovanni Aries reaches the ring and walks up the steel steps. He then walks along the apron and steps into the ring. Cain Adams follows and steps in. He then steps up and looks menacing as Giovanni takes another drag and smirks before dropping the cigarette in the middle of the ring and putting it out with his foot.

Sharper: “And look at that disrespect.”

Knots: “That and the smirk on his face tells it all.”

Giovanni steps over and demands a microphone. Phillips reluctantly tosses one to Giovanni. Giovanni takes it and turns, walking around the ring.

Giovanni: “Do you feel that?”

Giovanni smirks.

Giovanni: “I do…it’s weakness. It’s the hopes of a once impenetrable kingdom collapsing. Even your black ops attempts, bringing in a man who claims to have no morals…and represents all of the worst of the material world…even he could not get the opportunity he had served up to him on a silver platter!”

Giovanni smiles as he walks around the ring, twisting around at points.

Giovanni: “Oh Blake….You could’ve been a hero. Too bad that you end up just representing what so many are. A failed experiment. Someone to be tossed aside!”

Giovanni laughs.

Giovanni: “And you can now be with your perfect bride. While she’s broken inside, and in part, thanks to me…you’re broken up here…”

Giovanni taps his head.

Giovanni: “A PERFECT match…And the Perfect Pack is dead and buried. And there’s no one else to step up. To actually be what could save this company. Nothing can stop fate. Nothing can stop what we represent. NOTHING will come close…and on top of that…I no longer have to worry about faking interest in a vapid, pretentious gold-grubbing ex-model. So thank you Kelcey for allowing me to no longer have to deal with a piece of expediency!”

Giovanni smiles.

Giovanni: “Sure, she may still make those phone calls to Karina….but now, thanks to Owen, I’m still here and SCW knows that if they fire me when all I’ve done is appear to compete since. I’ve not destroyed any structures since Under Attack. I’ve just played by their rules and let them PLAY THEMSELVES! You fools. You idiotic fools….”

Giovanni extends his arms and laughs. Cain smiles.

Giovanni: “Alice may have been a casualty in the battle but we are winning the war. And it’s only time Lizard King. Only time before you are on your knees in this ring, BEGGING for my mercy. And NO ONE can stop that!”

Giovanni looks around, spinning around in the ring, his arms outstretched.

Giovanni: “And now this ring is as good as mine! And thanks to Ace Marshall….in two weeks, you won’t be worrying about Shilo Valiant and the Adrenaline Championship. You’ll be wondering what happens when I am World Champion. And what leverage that will give me!”

The crowd boos.

Sharper: “It’s true…thanks to Ace Marshall…”

Knots: “Well he’s going in on everyone. Maybe Bree Lancaster can do some good here if something works out!”

Giovanni cackles in the ring when the crowd rises with cheers as we then see Blake Mason storming to the ring from the floor. He starts to head toward the ring and climbs up onto the rampway before we see Jaxson Sullivan running out from the back. He runs over and Blake storms to the ring. Sullivan steps in front of him and stops him. Blake starts to walk around the ring.

Sharper: “Blake Mason coming out here. We saw him talking to Katya!”

Knots: “Now this is about redemption, but he’s just going for it!”

Sharper: “He wants to get his hands on Giovanni. Katya told him he’d ensure he’d not get suspended if he piledrives and takes Giovanni out!”

Blake keeps trying to get to the ring. Giovanni turns just eyeing him, smiling as Blake tries to get to the ring again, but Sullivan pushes him back.

Blake: “Stand down!”

Sullivan: “No! Why the hell would you trust her?! I’m here to protect YOU!”

Blake: “Stand down, Jaxson!”

Blake tries to walk around, but Sullivan stops him again.

Giovanni: “Come on Blake. Your redemption is right here. If you can even try to do it!”

We then see several other officials running down to the ring. The crowd boos as they arrive to the ring and start to help Sullivan with Blake Mason. Mason yells at them to leave him as he then spins around in anger and looks at the ring as Giovanni now drops to his knees, taunting Blake. Blake steps back, seething as Sullivan locks eyes with the man he’s charged to protect. The crowd continues to look on as a “Let him go!” chant starts. The scene continues to play out for a few more moments before the scene cuts away.

“The Old Me” plays before we see the Breakdown logo come up on the screen. A still of Xander Valentine comes up on the screen and then one of David Helms before showing both.

Sharper: “And next, our main event. It’s going to be a wild one too. Helms vs. Valentine! Next!”

The scene fades to black.

Xander Valentine vs. David Helms

Phillips: “Fans, finally, it the match you all been waiting for, tonight’s main event. It is scheduled for one fall, introducing first…”

The arena lights cut; the arena falls into complete darkness as buzz spreads through the Kanas City audience. The screen suddenly lights up with one single solitary word:

“BANG!”

The crowd explodes, the entire stage lights up with a brilliant white light. The opening riff of “All I Want” by A Day To Remember vibrates throughout the T-Mobile Center. The crowd erupts into even louder cheers as they spot the silhouette of David Helms standing there. He is hopping, placing weight onto one foot than the next, fists clenched, all frame by the brilliant white light behind him.

“ALL I WANT IS A PLACE TO CALL MY OWN,
TO MEND THE HEARTS OF EVERYONE WHO FEELS ALONE,
WOAH; YOU KNOW TO KEEP YOUR HOPES UP HIGH,
BUT YOUR HEAD DOWN LOW!”

The intro gives way to the electric choreus, the lyrics flash up on the screen behind Helms as he suddenly jumps into the air, pyrotechnics exploding on either side of the stage. He lands, the house lights return, and Jason Helms walks from the back. David Helms is still staring down the ring, where Jason steps up to his brother and pats him on the shoulder, mouthing some words. David looks mean, pissed, lowering his head before suddenly bolting towards the ring, leaving Jason to follow him.

Phillips: “Making his way to the ring from Red Bank, New Jersey, now fighting out of the Hollywood Hills; he’s weighed in tonight at a hundred ninety eight pounds, the SCW Hall of Famer, the Supreme Champion, DAVID HELMS!”

David Helms slides underneath the bottom rope feet first, jumping up onto his feet, running immediately into the ropes and back to the center of the ring. His eyes are fixated on the stage. He doesn’t perform his usual theatrics, he doesn’t need to drum up the support of the crowd, they’re releasing a deafening roar. Jason slaps the apron from outside the ring.

Sharper: “We know David Helms is an angry person. He had one bad night at Last Grasp of Reality, not only did he lose the SCW World Title, his loving wife, Regan Street was injured earlier in the night by this opponent tonight, Xander Valentine.”

Knots: “Xander has not only threatened David Helms, not only his wife, but their kids, their friends. Xander has not only hurt Regan, but members of their family and friends. David Helms gladly accepted this match in order to take out all his anger, all his frustration, and more importantly, avenge all those hurt by that bastard Xander.”

Sharper: “We know David’s hot. You can tell that this match isn’t the usual fare.”

Phillips: “And his opponent…”

Static erupted, as if a clumsy hand struggled to plug into an amplified. The crowd grows dead silent. Spotlights drums on, one after another, basking the center of the stage in sea of light. The melodic chords of “Fade to Black” plays, smoke popping out from behind the curtains, bellowing onto the stage now. A shadow appears on other side of the illuminated curtains, obscured by the smoke. The crowd begins to whip up in a frenzy, including loud jeers and boos. The song’s interlude cuts short, giving way to the lyrics:

“LIFE IT SEEMS, WILL FADE AWAY,
DRIFTING FURTHER EVERY DAY,
GETTING LOST WITHIN MYSELF,
NOTHING MATTERS NO ONE ELSE,
I HAVE LOST THE WILL TO LIVE,
SIMPLY NOTHING MORE TO GIVE,
THERE IS NOTHING MORE FOR ME,
NEED THE END TO SET ME FREE.”

Xander bursts through the curtain onto the stage, the United States Championship belt wrapped tightly around his waist. The boos grow louder as Xander walks to the far side of the stage, more spotlights shining down now. He beats his chest, roaring out into crowd. He goes to the other side, again, pounding his chest like King Kong, yelling out into the crowd. He backpedals while Artemis comes out in her scandal, a bright red dress that cuts far north of the knees, her face hidden by the masquerade mask. She leans over, arching, to point towards Xander. Xander takes her hand, lowers it as he kisses the back before turning again, looking down at the ring where David Helms awaits him. He jogs restlessly in place.

THINGS NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE
MISSING ONE INSIDE OF ME
DEATHLY LOST, THIS CAN’T BE REAL
CANNOT STAND THIS HELL I FEEL
EMPTINESS IS FILLING ME
TO THE POINT OF AGONY
GROWING DARKNESS TAKING DAWN
I WAS ME, BUT NOW HE 'S GONE

Xander starts to walk down the ramp, Artemis in toe. His eyes fixated on David Helms, he mouths something indiscernible by the song and the crowd noise. He stops at the bottom of the ramp, points at David as the song starts to die down.

Phillips: “The current reigning SCW United States Champion, from Rochester, NY, fighting out of San Diego, California… weighing tonight at 305 pounds, the Hall of Famer, the Executioner, XANDER VALENTINE!”

Xander approaches the rings. He leaps up onto the apron in one bound, but the crowd suddenly screams as David Helms lunges over blindly from the top rope, sending Xander flying off, back into Artemis, knocking off her mask. Xander manages to land, but as he looks to see David, David’s already ran back from one side of the ring to next, takes flight with a suicide dive that takes the giant man off his feet.

Sharper: “David Helms is not waiting for any bell. He’s bringing the fight to Xander!”

Knots: “Stay back, Artemis! You’re nothing but collateral damage!”

Sharper: “Artemis seems alright, fixing that mask back on. Look at David, he’s in hot pursuit of Xander, wailing heavy fists into his head.”

Knots: “Match hasn’t even started! Kick his ass, Dave!”

David Helms is swinging haymakers, landing punches to the back of Xander’s head and neck. Xander tries to cover up, retreating around the ring. Xander gets a few steps ahead with long strides, but David Helms runs, shoving Xander face first into the ring post! Xander bounces off, stumbling around, he rolls into the ring  to get away. David Helms climbs up the ring steps, keeping up the chase until the referee gets into his way.

Sharper: “David Helms is picking up where Regan left off, beating Xander like a packhorse!”

Knots: “The referee needs to get out of his way! Nothing’s going to stop Helms from kicking Xander’s ass!”

Referee extends his arms as Xander gathers himself in the far corner. David shoves him out of the way, but Xander launches himself form the corner, running yakuza kick takes David down. The crowd boos, Xander orders the referee to start the match. Referee looks down at David and up at Xander, holding the side of his head in pain, signals for the bell.

Sharper: “Match is officially underway! Xander Valentine taking advantage of the referee’s good intentions to get the jump on David after fleeing from the furry of David’s clenched fists.”

Knots: “Looks like he got a few good strikes in! Xander’s eyebrow is bothering him.”

Xander motions the referee out of his way, still holding his eyebrow. He leans over as David is trying to stand. Xander grabs David by the shoulder but David punches Xander in the gut. He steps up with an uppercut to knock Xander back. Xander flies against the ropes. David Helms runs from the far end to Xander, with both hands, thrusts into Xander’s throat, knocking Xander up and over the top rope! Xander falls, clinging onto the apron, but pulls himself. David Helms is there with a baseball slide right into Xander’s face, knocking him back into the guard rail.

Sharper: “No rest for the wicked! David Helms is sticking on Xander like flies to honey!”

Knots: “Xander’s reeling!”

Sharper: “You know exactly what they say about karma!”

Knots: “Xander wishes he never incurred its wrath by being a garbage human being!”

David Helm steps up to Xander, pulls away his arm and drills a knife edge chop into Xander’s chest. Xander stumbles away, holding his chest in pain. David Helms backpedals, charges forward, uses the ring steps as platform and drops Xander with a front drop kick! David Helms stands over Xander as he is writhing in pain, shouting down at Xander, the crowd explodes with cheers that drowns out David’s words to Xander! Xander claws at David but David catches the arm, lifts his arm up and stomps down onto his chin!

Sharper: “You never see that kind of curbstomp before! No more mister nice guy!”

Knots: “And better yet, Xander has no answers to David’s rage! We have heard for years and years about Xander’s anger, well I think it just met its match!”

Sharper: “Don’t threaten a man’s family, don’t hurt a man’s wife!”

Knots: “Exactly, Adam!”

Xander holds his jaw with one hand, the back of his head, as he tries to crawl away. The referee is counting out both men but David rolls quickly in and out to stop the count. Xander starts to stand and again, David bounces Xander’s skull across the ring post. Xander retreats around the corner and back into the ring, trying to get distance between himself and David. David slides into the ring, runs towards Xander, but Xander meets him halfway with a spear, running David right through! Xander stumbles up immediately onto his feet, dropping his head down onto the top rope of the nearby corner.

Sharper: “Xander manages to desperately stop David’s momentum, but the damage absorbed, he can’t take advantage of it!”

Knots: “He’s trying to clear out the cobwebs. Referee is now asking Xander is he’s okay.”

Xander and the referee are discussing in the corner. David has since rolled out of the ring; he walks right up to the timekeeper and takes the chair. He slides back in, unknowingly to the other two men that he’s armed and dangerous. Referee steps out of the corner and turns, David swings the chair with the most majestic arc you’d ever saw, crashing it down onto Xander’s turned back! The crowd cheers! The referee calls for the bell! The crowd boos!

Knots: “David Helms just disqualified himself! Oh my god!”

Sharper: “David Helms doesn’t care about winning! He cares about punishing Xander!”

Knots: “Xander told David to bring it! Well, he’s bringing it!”

Xander steps, holding onto the top rope. David Helms against lands a chair shot onto Xander’s open back. Xander falls into a different corner. David Helms back up, waves Xander on. Xander turns with a wild punch, getting nothing but air. David Helms throws the chair into Xander, Xander catches it! NIGHTMARE ON HELMS STREET! No, Xander throw the chair back into David Helms as he jumps up. David drops to the canvas, the crowd boos louder now.

Sharper: “Xander avoiding the fate that Ricky James suffered earlier! He almost ate the Nightmare on Helms Street too!”

Knots: “Such a shame!”

Phillips: “The winner of the match, by disqualification, Xander Valentine!”

Sharper: “The referee is at a lost. He doesn’t know what to restore order!”

Knots: “You don’t see any backup coming down. No one wants to get in the way between these two men’s brawl!”

David Helms rolls over onto his hands and knees, pushing himself up but there’s Xander, underhooking his arms, and beginning to rock David’s skull with vicious knees. He tosses David aside. David rolls but Xander crashes down onto him, mounting him, lifting his skull up, and drills some brutal elbows strikes right into David’s skull. In the corner of Xander’s eye, he sees Jason Helms climbing up onto the apron, Xander pops up, leaping up to take Jason Helms off the apron with a running yakuza kick! The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Jason Helms getting Xander off his brother by distracting the monster, but he’s a victim of that brutal kick!”

Knots: “Xander had delivered a payload of elbow strikes and knees, right to the head, and you can’t take too many of those!”

Xander Valentine turns and he’s knock up and over the top rope by David Helms. They both fall to the outside to the floor. They use each other to get to their feet. They begin to exchange blows. David Helms able to in punches, while Xander resorts to elbow strikes. Finally, Xander slips his hands underneath David’s arms and shoves him back. David flies back into the ring post. He bounces back into the arms of Xander, lifts him up and buries him into the floor with a spinebuster! Xander looks down at him for a moment before climbing up to his feet, he begins to walk away.

Sharper: “Xander has had enough! I don’t think he expected this much of a fight!”

Knots: “He’s cutting his losses!”

David Helms stumbles to his feet, yanking the microphone from the ring announcer. He spits some blood onto the floor before pointing at Xander. The crowd roars with approval!

David Helms: “Where you think you’re going Xander?! We’re not done yet! Running away, with your tail between your legs! I thought you were a bad ass!”

Xander stops at the bottom of the ramp where he is rejoined by Artemis. Artemis is motioning to leave, to go up the ramp. Xander doesn’t move, he stands there, head hung low.

David Helms: “You can’t keep running, Xander. You have to face me. You have face what you have done!”

Knots: “You think Xander has a conscience?! David, you gotta be kidding! He doesn’t care if he hurt anyone!”

Sharper: “Xander did show a little remorse towards his actions, but thought he was justified! But David Helms is calling him out! I don’t know if Xander can walk away!”

David Helms: “Come on, Xander. Fight me! Isn’t that what you’re always looking to do! Fight me, Xander! You piece of shit!”

Xander turns around, Artemis grabbing his arm, but Xander easily pull his free. Xander marches towards David Helms. David Helms, microphone in his hand, meets him halfway. The two begin to crawl again, David Helms driving the microphone into Xander’s head and Xander responding with wild punches of his own. The messy brawl igniting the entire crowd to once again overload the audio with their loudness. David pulls back, and pops Xander over the head with the microphone, launching Xander back. He falls over the guard rail into the crowd. David Helms backsteps, lifts the microphone one more time.

David Helms: “That’s much better!”

David Helms spikes microphone. A huddle of officials begins to gather on the ramp, hesitant still to get involved.

Sharper: “The brawl has broken out into the crowd!”

Knots: “David Helm’s not letting up on his punishment! He’s making Xander pay for every sin! Every crime!”

He climbs over the railing to follow in pursuit, but Xander tosses a folded steel chair right into the oncoming David Helms. But that didn’t slow David Helms, who absorbs the impact but follows up with a more flurry of punches, knocking the much bigger man up the aisle. Xander retreats, David Helms takes a steel chair handed to him by an eager fan. He wields it over his head and down onto Xander’s back before returning the chair to its proper owner!

Sharper: “I think that fan’s gonna keep that.”

Knots: “That might be a holy relic of any David Helms fan collection! The chair that destroyed Xander!”

Xander stumbles up the steps, breathing heavily. David hammers a few fists onto his back, but Xander keeps climbing the stairs. Xander turns around, takes a few hooks to the jaw before falling back onto a railing overlooking one of the entrances into the arena. The fans are moved out of the way. David Helms takes a hold of Xander’s head and goes to toss him off, over the railing but Xander manages to get both hands onto the railing stopping.

Sharper: “Oh no!”

Knots: “That might be going to far David!”

Sharper: “A fall from that height would be attempted murder!”

Knots: “Someone stop David before he goes too far! You’re not like that asshole, David! You’re better than him!”

Xander throws an elbow back into Xander’s throat. David is seen choking, Xander falls back against the railing, gasping for air, wiping sweat from his brow. Xander steps forward, knees the recovering David in the midsection, underhooking both arms, and positions himself.

Sharper: “NO!”

Knots: “This is worst! This could kill David Helms! Martial Bane at that height! They could both be seriously injured or killed!”

Sharper: “Someone stop him! End this!”

The crowd grows silence. Xander goes to lift David up, but stops, setting him back down, staring at the railing. After an awkward moment, David manages to slip out and immediately punches Xander square in the face. Xander falls backwards, losing his footing, luckily going down the stairs instead of the opposite direction, up and over the railing.

Sharper & Knots: “Thank god!”

Sharper: “Collective sigh of relief, David Helms manages to starve off the Martial Bane!”

Knots: “That could have been ugly!”

Xander manages to pull himself to his feet, pushing off his hands and knees, staggering into the entrance tunnel. David Helms comes running from behind him and drop kicks him, sending Xander flying through double doors. The cameras cut to the lobby now where a crowd is parted for the fight, officials are starting to converge them.

Sharper: “The fight has broke containment, now they’re out in the T-Mobile Center’s lobby!”

Knots: “The officials are uneasy. I would be too after I saw what almost came of this brawl!”

Sharper: “They’re looking for an opportunity to swarm them but I think they’re taking their own wellbeing into account here!”

David Helms goes for another haymaker but Xander catches his arm, yanks him in and turns him around. Xander Valentine locks in the Fade to Black! They both fall to the floor, but Xander has the hold tightly locked in, David Helms’ arms clutch onto his arm.

Sharper: “Xander saves himself! He gets David in the Fade to Black! This brawl is over!”

Knots: “Xander’s cutting the oxygen off to David’s head! David’s trying to slip away but Xander is holding on with all his life!”

Referees and other officials now pile on, trying to pull the two apart, but Xander keeps the hold log on, David Helms’s face turns colors. Xander roars, while referees to break the hold!

Xander Valentine: “ENOUGH! IT’S OVER!”

Xander finally releases David, who had succumbed to the sleeper hold. Xander rolls away, his chest laboring to take in breathes. The camera focuses on David’s unconscious body, then on Xander’s swollen face, puffed out red where David’s fists made a mess out of Xander’s face. Xander lies there as the officials tend to David. We cut to ringside where Knots and Sharper exchange surprised looks.

Sharper: “Ladies and gentlemen, the situation seems to be under control.”

Knots: “David’s rampage came to a disappointing end but I think Xander’s gonna think twice before ever crossing David! He got thrashed!”

Sharper: “We’re out of time, thanks for tuning in! Log onto supremecw.com for the fallout of tonight’s show, updates on both men’s conditions!”

Knots: “Next week, the conclusion to the Tag League, and so so much more!”

The SCW logo is shown and the feed ends…
