“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Datura hanging upside down on the ropes, posing.

Maybe I'm just paranoid
Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie
Can't stop this screamin' voice
Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing Rated X posing as SCW World Tag Team Champions. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see Cassie Wolfe hitting a dive off the top rope and Adam Brock standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chance Owens, Simon Lyman and Dancing Bear follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo

This is the face
I hate the other side of me
Out of this cage
He breaks to take the life from me
Tell me, tell me, tell me
I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing Adam Allocco talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head
I'm closer to the edge
Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery
Insane
These voices in my brain
Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor lariat on an opponent is next, before we see Pro Kinneck attacking Sophie James at ringside. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Alexis Quinne hitting a standing shooting star press. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Selena Frost, Kandis, Adam Allocco, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “Our final stop before Body, Heart, and Soul, and we roll into Brooklyn for Breakdown!”

The cameras continue to pan across the arena before we cut to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots are at ringside.

Sharper: “Adam Sharper here alongside Jonathan Knots and it’s going to be a night where we expect fireworks to go off.”

Knots: “That’s putting it mildly. Some people are very unhappy – Selena Frost is not only back, but challenging Asher Hayes for the SCW World Championship at Body, Heart, and Soul! CHBK is going to speak about that tonight.”

Sharper: “Not only that, but some huge matches to put in mildly. Alistaire Allocco will face Kimberly Williams in singles action. And Autumn Valentine clashes with Kandis in our main event! But…”

Knots: “What the hell is that?”

We then cut to the stage where we see Elijah Smith leading a procession, dressed in all black, while several men, all in black suits, roll a casket out onto the stage. We then see Lisa Archer walk out, wearing a black dress and veil, sobbing, microphone in her hand. She then steps forward in front of the casket.

Archer: “Simon Lyman…is DEAD!”

The lights then go out.

Knots: “What?!”

We see movement on the stage before a spotlight shines down on the stage as we see the casket slowly getting turned vertical to stand on its end. The men all get it into position and stabilize it as Elijah Smith steps back, joining Lisa Archer. Archer keeps sobbing as the crowd boos and we hear dramatic music playing in the background.

Sharper: “What in the world is going on?”

Knots: “Simon’s dead. And apparently wanted a light show. I’d at least want to make Kennedy drop a lot of money as one last eff you.”

The music continues to play before stopping. We then hear the sounds of harps and angels chanting before the casket top swings open. Simon slowly gets out, wearing an all white suit, top hat, shirt and shoes. The crowd boos as Simon then steps forward and looks at Lisa Archer. Archer claps happily as she steps forward.

Archer: “The OLD Simon Lyman is dead. He has RISEN!”

Simon winces only slightly before starting to beam, smiling from ear to ear.

Archer: “HE has RESURRECTED!”

The crowd looks on. Archer then shows off Simon Lyman.

Archer: “He is the NEW Simon Lyman!”

“Hero” by Caleb Hyles and Jonathan Young starts to play. Simon Lyman then starts to pose on the stage. Lisa Archer continues to applaud as Elijah Smith stands in the background, arms folded across his chest.

Sharper: “What in the world?”

Knots: “And even new…or wait…same music just…”

Sharper: “What the hell are they angling with this? After last week when we heard that Simon Lyman may be weeks away from returning, overstating the injuries in the Ultimate Submission match at End of the Year Special. Now this…”

Archer: “Now…let us now hear His first pronouncement!”

Archer turns and presents the microphone to Simon. Simon turns and whispers something to Archer. Archer nudges him and tells him something, all while smiling. Simon then looks around as he turns.

Lyman: “Well…uh…That’s right. The NEW Simon Lyman has arrived! The OLD Simon Lyman was a tired shell and one that no longer exists. One that…DIED moments ago and I am now reborn. I have returned and-“

Archer moves in and leans to the microphone.

Archer: “Resurrected!”

Lyman nods.

Lyman: “Yes, resurrected. Come back from the dead to now move forward in 2024 and bring the plaudits and greatness you all expect from a true hall of famer, a first-ballot one by the way, or it should be, and someone who will be World Champion. While other has-beens like Wolfsbane Adam Brock seeks to claim morality, there is no one of a higher moral compass than me. And he can criticize all he wants. He’s not the one who was suspended for failing to follow instructions! Some hero he is. While I, taking up the mantle of a new hero, one that has surpassed and is greater than what was before, will not fall to the same problems and shortcomings. I am not like Adam Brock, a man with a short-fuse, desperate to cling to glories of the past, and hope people remember him. One who attacks people from behind, or when they’re not even in the arena, while they’re just speaking to the world. No…Simon Lyman will not do that. Never again. I am reborn-“

Archer: “Resurrected!”

Lyman: “Yes…and-“

The crowd roars as Lyman goes to continue before we see the casket shoved forward. Lyman backs up and down the rampway as the casket crashes down, nearly on top of him, but missing him. Archer backs up and can be heard yelling “No!” as Adam Brock stands on the stage. The crowd cheers some more.

Sharper: “And Adam Brock has seen enough!”

Knots: “And nearly did actually send Lyman well…closer to it at least!”

Sharper: “Look at this. Elijah Smith. Lyman’s ‘guard’…going after Brock!”

Smith runs at Brock and nails him with a couple of right hands, but Brock then knees him in the ribs and spins him around and throws him into the side of the entrance set. Smith stumbles back as Archer turns and looks at the casket. Lyman just watches, stunned. Brock then looks right at Lyman and then grabs Smith and turns and runs him over to the side of the stage, throwing him off of it. Smith flips forward and lands through two tables, covered with wires. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Smith off the stage! Through a table!”

Knots: “Just launched! And gravity still undefeated!”

Brock turns and looks at Lyman as Lyman looks on stunned before turning and looking over to Smith and then back. Archer then looks around before glaring at Brock. Brock looks at Lyman as “Promised Land” by Queensryche starts to play through the arena. Brock then backs up and shakes his head, yelling “pathetic!” at Lyman. Lyman just glares at him while occasionally showing concern for Elijah.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, Jaina Lancaster, with Destiny Page standing off to the side taking notes, is at the SCW interview area with James Evans who is flanked by the House of James.

Jaina: “I am here with the SCW Underground Champion, James Evans and you are with the House of James. Last week, we found out that Kimberly Williams will get her rematch against you at Body, Heart, and Soul and you attacked The One, Kirsten Scott.”

Evans: “Have a problem with that?”

Jaina: “Well…I-“

Evans: “Too many people don’t understand what I am trying to accomplish here with the House of James. We are trying to change professional wrestling. Since violence is all that some understand, we will simply outdo them until they realize the only path forward is a more respectful form of combat. And we have a vision. And for Scott to diminish that simply because she has a simplistic view of the world, one where some people need to move aside. No…some people need to be put in the ground to understand their lack of value they see in themselves and what they offer.”

Evans looks forward as the camera pans back. Lues keeps watching Destiny Page while Pain, Harker, and Mordred look forward. Jaina looks around, clearly increasingly nervous.

Evans: “Kimberly Williams has her match against Alistaire Allocco tonight. At Body, Heart, and Soul, we will end this and you will understand that you will need to get used a new world where this title…it will never be yours again.”

Evans holds up the SCW Underground Championship.

Evans: “You can come at us over and over, but you will find that you have been surpassed.”

Evans then brings the title down.

Evans: “And tonight, we will lay the foundation for what will follow. A new world. A new vision. One that will succeed, unlike those proclaimed by others. And if we need to use force to get people to understand, tonight…we will. Because we are done taking this simply. Change comes through revolution. And we will bring it. And then, we will remould. In the vision we truly believe in. Violence tonight…at Body, Heart and Soul…last week…it’s all a means to an end. And we are starting to focus on the end!”

Evans turns and walks off. Lues pulls away from watching Destiny, before Harker, Mordred, and Pain follow. Jaina watches them leave, as does Destiny, before Breakdown cuts to the ring.

Team Desire vs. Playgirls

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on SCW’s Jumbotron.  A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play.

Phillps: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are the Playgirls, Colleen and Aisling!”

The music plays for quite some time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Colleen and Aisling walk out from behind, wearing matching pantsuits. They look around before starting to head to the ring. Colleen looks on focused as Aisling plays to the crowd a bit. They make their walk down the ramp. Colleen and Aisling reach the ring and slide in. They get to their feet and raise their arms overhead. Colleen and Aisling walks around the ring.

Sharper: “New year and we have two teams that both would love to turn the corner to challenge for the World Tag Team Championship.”

Knots: “We know that for sure for Katie Steward. But Colleen and Aisling have those same hopes!”

The arena lights dim down and pink light shine on the stage. “Psycho” by Ava Max plays as The Queen of Queens and Goddess of Desire Katie Steward steps out on the stage. She walks her beautiful white and gold religious ring robe that is popelike and spins around in a circle showing it off the crowd. Giovanna Steward follows behind her wearing her leather spiked “Brat Club” jacket and a black bandana covering the lower half of her face. TJ Johnson walks out onto the stage with Katie and the two nod to on another before Katie continues her walk to the ring with her arms out and his hands at shoulder length while Gigi follows behind.

Phillips: “Their opponents, accompanied by TJ Johnson, both from Los Angeles, California, they are the team of Gigi and Katie Steward, Team Desire!”

Katie walks around the ring and Gigi rolls under the bottom rope. Katie walks up the ring steps carefully and across the apron. TJ runs up after her and holds open the ropes for her to enter the ring. Katie walks to the center of the ring and she disrobes for the crowd. She shows off her wrestling attire. TJ takes her robe and exits the ring and Katie to her corner.

Sharper: “Team Desire, Katie Steward, hoping to get to that elsuvie World Tag Team Championship reign. The last thing she needs to become a Supreme Champion.”

Knots: “She has to earn it! That’s what she was told. She’s a Hall of Famer and even offered to help out the tag situation.”

Sharper: “And we expect answers there, regarding the World Tag Team Championship, but Katie and Gigi are going to have to be at their best in this one as Colleen and Aisling will be thinking the same. No room for distractions.”

The bell sounds. Aisling starts off for her team as Gigi starts off for her. The two step up and lock up in the middle of the ring. Aisling drops down and around Gigi and into a side headlock. Gigi pulls her back into the ropes and fires her off. Aisling bounces off the other side and Gigi takes her down with a shoulder. Gigi runs into the ropes. Aisling rolls towards her. Gigi hops over and bounces off the other side and Aisling hits a hip toss. Gigi hits the mat and rolls over. Aisling chops her and spins her into the neutral corner. Aisling goes for another chop, but Gigi ducks and spins around. She forearms Aisling in the jaw once and then again before grabbing her and hitting a running facebuster. Aisling rolls over. Gigi goes for the pin.

Aisling kicks out. Both women get up and Gigi kicks Aisling in the ribs, before dragging her over to Katie. She tags in Katie. Katie enters as Gigi holds Aisling open and Katie kicks her in the ribs.

Sharper: “Katie and Gigi with the first tag and Katie with a hard boot to the ribs of Aisling.”

Knots: “And trust me. She knows how to plant those boots. Katie has been responsible for a lot of pointy boots to the ribs.”

Aisling staggers off and Katie watches her and hits a dropkick. Aisling hits the mat. Katie goes for the pin.

Aisling kicks out. She rolls over to the ropes. She starts to get up and Katie heads over and clubs her in the back once and then again. She grabs her and whips her across the ring and into the neutral corner. Katie runs after and Aisling gets a boot up. Katie stumbles out and Aisling runs out and hits a flying headscissors. Katie rolls through. She gets up and Aisling jumps up with a crescent kick. Katie hits the mat and Aisling turns and tags in Colleen. Colleen enters as Kaite gets up and Colleen scoops her up and turns and Aisling rolls her back, placing her knees up and Colleen just drops Katie back first across her knees. The crowd ohs. Katie rolls over in pain. Aisling rolls out of the ring.

Sharper: “And Colleen using Aisling to make that slam that much worse.”

Knots: “Almost like her own chiropractic adjustment!”

Katie grabs at the ropes and starts to get up and Colleen watches her and runs at her and clotheslines her in the corner. Katie stumbles forward and Colleen shovers her down before jumping up and hitting an elbow drop. She goes for the pin.

Katie kicks out. She rolls over and Colleen grabs her by the hair. She then forearms her in the back of the head once and then again. We then see David Striker walking out from the back, and standing on the floor, watching the ring. Behind him, we see a man in black as well. Colleen throws Katie into the corner. She then drives her face first into the top rope over and over. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “And the Stewards, setting this up. Katie tagging in Gigi. Gigi immediately answering and stepping in.”

Knots: “And taking down Colleen.”

Sharper: “Right into a cover!”

Gigi goes for the pin.

Colleen pushes her off. She rolls off. Colleen starts to get up and Gigi runs across the ring and bounces off and hits a dropkick. She grabs Gigi and drags her up and tags in Aisling. Colleen then scoops her up and into a back suplex position as Aisling climbs to the top rope and hits a missile dropkick. Gigi slams Gigi down. Aisling then goes for the pin.

Katie breaks it up. Striker looks on from the floor.

Sharper: “Katie with the save after Gigi planted.”

Knots: “Nearly landed on her head from the impact!”

Katie turns and gets up and Colleen runs at her and clotheslines her over the top rope to the floor. Aisling turns and grabs Gigi and pulls her up. She runs her into the corner. Aisling runs after and hits a running senton backsplash. She then walks forward, dragging her up and kneeing her in the ribs. She then runs into the ropes. She bounces off and spins around Gigi, going for an Octopus Stretch, but Gigi falls back, countering with a slam. The crowd roars. Katie pulls herself onto the apron as Gigi rolls over.

Sharper: “And what a counter by Gigi as Aisling was looking to tie her up in that octopus stretch.”

Knots: “Just pull and stretch Gigi out. Not going to get the chance. Instead, Gigi did the only thing she could do and that’s introduce Aisling to the mat again.”

Gigi slowly starts to get up as Aisling moves to the corner. As she does, the crowd roars and boos as we see Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson running down from the back. Both have chains in their hands as they run down and slide in. Colleen enters the ring, but Theron gets up and nails Gigi with the chain, using it to clothesline her down. Gigi holds her throat as the bell sounds. Eriksson runs at Aisling as Theron nails Colleen and Colleen strikes him back. They trade blows as Eriksson tries to choke Aisling with the chain. The bell sounds again. Katie then drops down to the floor and grabs Gigi and pulls her out of the ring.

Sharper: “Gigi struck and dropped by these madmen. European Fiery Nation coming down!”

Knots: “And Playgirls now fighting, or maybe trying to survive, as the Stewards get the hell out of here!”

Sharper: “And with the disqualification in their favour. Stewards get the win, but this is just turning into a brawl!”

The bell sounds again as Colleen starts to be worked over by Theron who gets the advantage. Katie and TJ help Gigi around the ring to the rampway. They head to the back as Aisling drops down from a shot from Eriksson. The crowd boos as officials run past the Stewards and Johnson, and go to the ring to regain order.

Backstage, we see Gavin Taylor seated on a folding chair, backwards, his arms across the back of the chair. He looks down.

Gavin: “Last week…Last week, the All-Star was called out. No…I wasn’t just called out. I was punked out.”

Gavin looks down and then shakes his head.

Gavin: “2023 was supposed to be my year. It wasn’t. I came back at Taking hold fo the Flame, became runner up, and everyone though the year of the All-Star was here. So did I. I even called out Simon Lyman. A legend. And He beat me…twice, by cheating. No World Title shot. But other shots and I fell short. And then last week…”

Gavin looks up, right into the camera.

Gavin: “Last week, I was challenged. Not because of respect, but because I wasn’t good enough. The exact words Chance Owens said in hyping Kelsai Adamson up…‘I think you can kick his ass and maybe he’ll realize that he’s owed nothing.’”

Gavin looks down for a moment and looks up.

Gavin: “I’m owed nothing. That’s how little you think of me. I’m over the hill while Kelsai Adamson should take my spot and move to the top! Kelsai Adamson is a great wrestler and she will be a champion. But so will I. And you think she can kick my ass Chance. Kelsai, do you agree? I’m riding a reputation from my past. Oh no, all you’ve done is awoken than person. I’m the All-Star, Kelsai! I’m someone EVERYONE thought would be World Champion by now. Ironically, just like you. You had a chance at End of the Year Special. You fell short. But then you call me out because you think I’m a REBOUND?”

Gavin stands up.

Gavin: “Gavin Taylor aint no rebound!”

Gavin then looks at the camera.

Gavin: “But he is going to teach you and everyone else about respect. Respect for oneself and respect for others. Just because I’m having a down year doesn’t mean I can’t bounce back and Kelsai, all that you and Chance have done is give me all of the fuel to do just that. Find another rebound. You’ll need one. Because Gavin Taylor is coming into 2024 ready to WIN!”

Gavin continues to look right into the camera as the scene fades to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

We open up to see Derek Adonis walking backstage with Candy Adonis. He looks around.

Derek: “It was right here. How could we lose my casket?”

Candy: “Honey, maybe it was for the best.”

Derek: “It was comfortable. I could hide snacks, and we could use it for other things…like thrusting-KABLAM me into the heavens…KAB-“

Candy: “Yes, but-“

Derek: “Plus, Konrad…and well, it would be comfy while I’m recovering from wounds.”

Derek looks around and sighs.

Derek: “Damn it. How could something that big just go off like that…”

Derek looks around.

Derek: “KABLAM!”

The two walk off.

Breakdown opens up at ringside at the announce position.

Sharper: “Last week, the world was stunned when CHBK made a huge announcement and well, see for yourself.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

BREAKDOWN – LAST WEEK

Kandis, Asher Hayes and Hakuri Keitaro stand in the ring with CHBK. Xander Valentine reaches the ring. He then pulls himself up to the apron and then steps inside. He steps forward. The crowd roars. Kandis then turns to Hayes and snaps at him. Hayes looks around as CHBK stands in the middle of the ring. Xander’s music stops.

CHBK: “Before this goes any further, someone’s rematch clause is going to be used for Body, Heart and Soul!”

The crowd roars. Hayes smirks. Kandis then rubs her hands. A scoff escapes Asher.

Asher: “Really? I gotta beat her again?”

He takes a step forward.

Asher: “I would have thought-“

Only to be blasted in the face by Hakuri Keitaro with a superkick. The crowd ohs and several cheer. Hayes is laid out.

Knots: “Hakuri Keitaro, the winner of the 2023 End of the Year Open Invitational just cracked Asher Hayes with that superkick.”

Sharper: “But that wasn’t stunning enough. It was all a plan.”

Keitaro stands above Asher Hayes, eyes on him before he slowly reaches up and undoes his jacket. Stripping it away, the coat reveals a bunch of padding within the inside, a more toned and lithe form underneath. Tossing the jacket aside, Keitaro then reaches up and pulls off their mask, revealing the platinum-blonde braid that comes tumbling down – belonging to the Snow Queen of SCW!

Sharper: “Selena Frost was Hakuri Keitaro.”

Knots: “Even got padding to hide her identity. And her getting the shot – Kandis was pissed! Asher was pissed! Even Xander made clear how angry he was.”

The fans, instantly, transform their cheers to boos, deafening the arena. Selena stands there, unfazed by the crowd, her cold eyes locked on Asher, who remains motionless in the ring. Reaching down, Frost picks up the World Title and glares at it. Kandis glares at Selena as Xander just watches from the corner. Another second goes by, all eyes on Selena holding the World Championship before she dumps the title on Asher’s head. Without a word or a look back, the Snow Queen flips over the ropes and onto the mats below, marching up the ramp. Kandis turns to CHBK and immediately demands an explanation as Xander Valentine lets out an annoyed look. CHBK, however, keeps his eyes locked on the retreating form of Frost. Asher Hayes remains motionless in the ring, no one bothering to help him. Selena disappears behind the curtain.

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. We then see a panning shot of the crowd.

Sharper: “Selena Frost returning last week and we can confirm that she is indeed getting the World Championship shot against Asher Hayes at Body, Heart, and Soul.”

Knots: “And with a lot of people unhappy, questions started to float around.”

Sharper: “And CHBK, seeking to explain why this decision was made, sat down with our Jessica Winters earlier today. Take a look.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen again.

EARLIER TODAY:

The scene opens in a simple interview area with Jessica Winters seated in one chair across from the SCW COO Alex “CHBK” Desoubrais. A small table is between them.

Winters: “Mr. Desoubrais, thank you for joining me in this format.”

CHBK: “Thank you for being here. I figured it best to make things transparent since there seems to be some people upset and even making some wild allegations.”

Winters: “Let us start there. Asher Hayes claimed that Selena has something on you. Is there any truth to this?”

CHBK: “No. Simple as that.”

Winters: “Straightforward. Let me then go through this situation and just ask a couple more straightforward questions.”

CHBK: “Go ahead.”

Winters: “Does Kandis deserve a World Championship match?”

CHBK: “Yes.”

Winters: “Do you consider that she has a valid rematch waiting for her for the title?”

CHBK: “Yes.”

Winters: “There has been some interesting rumblings backstage. In the past, our previous owner was more fluid on rematches, making a judgment call on whether rematch clauses would be honoured.”

CHBK: “Allow me to clarify things then. I think some people forget. I am a former competitor. So while I may be in a position of management today, I use my experiences and my over forty years out there to inform my decision-making. So in case there is any doubt – SCW will be honouring rematches, but with some caveats. These rematches will not be infinite. So if two competitors are evenly matched, we will not be going back and forth ad nauseum. If there is cheating or foul play, it could lead to a further rematch or it could cancel a rematch. We’re going to make it so rematches while available, they can be taken away and wrestlers will fully understand why. My door is always open. I have no problem telling people why I’ve made a decision.”

Winters: “And we’ll get to that in a moment…but one more question – The One. Kirsten Scott. She has a World Championship match awaiting her as per Fatal Fortunes.”

CHBK: “Yes.”

Winters: “Just making this clear. So then if Kandis has a rematch, and Scott has a title shot, why Selena?”

CHBK: “First, on Scott – After her Chamber cash-in, I realized that she needed some space. Add her actions last week, the fact is that while she will get her shot, I still can decide when. Scott also, to be blunt, asked for it to be delayed. That made my other decision easier.”

CHBK pauses.

CHBK: “Kandis earned a rematch. She was a fighting champion. She lost at Under Attack. And I know her and Asher Hayes have much unfinished business. But while she had a rematch, since I took over, one other person did too. Selena Frost. When Kandis beat Selena at Rise to Greatness, Selena did nothing to cause her rematch to be voided.”

Winters: “Fine. That’s understandable. But why not give Kandis the opportunity first and then Selena Frost, for example at Retribution.”

CHBK: “Simply put, SCW screwed up. When someone announced her for Fatal Fortunes, that put SCW into a bad position. While the individual who did so has been let go – I refuse to, unwittingly or not, let our fans down. Whether they love Selena or hate her, she is still a world class wrestler and a clear star.”

CHBK pauses again.

CHBK: “I knew of Selena Frosts involvement in the End of the Year Special. She agreed to return, but only with three conditions – one, she would be in a disguise; two, SCW could not promote her return…and three, if she won, SCW would honour her rematch.”

CHBK shrugs.

CHBK: “Simply put, I felt those were fair terms. Selena Frost proved she could compete at a high level, and prior to that, the last time we saw her was in the main event of Rise to Greatness. To start 2024 with Selena Frost challenging Asher Hayes for the title, that, to me, is a no doubt decision to make. And Kandis, she can finish her issue with Konrad Raab, and at Retribution, she can face the winner. Retribution – we come full circle with either Selena/Kandis II in a rematch of Rise to Greatness or Kandis can get her hands one more time on Asher Hayes to determine who really is the best, title on the line.”

Winters: “Are you announcing now that Kandis is next in line?”

CHBK: “Yes.”

CHBK turns to the camera.

CHBK: “Kandis has the World Champion at Retribution.”

Winters: “What then do you say that Selena should have waited. Full disclosure, I’ve called Selena a friend, but I know some are upset she walked out.”

CHBK: “Nonetheless, she had a valid rematch. She took time away. Would I have preferred it in a different way? Sure. But that does not disqualify her in my mind from getting that shot. If people have a problem – if Asher has a problem, beat her. If Kandis has a problem, she can potentially beat her at Retribution if she gets through Asher.”

Winters: “Has there been any fine placed on her for leaving abruptly?”

CHBK: “No.”

Winters: “Interesting…one more question – Xander Valentine. He came out to the ring to stake his claim. He also has an unfulfilled rematch-“

CHBK: “And in his case, that came from before my time in charge. For him, he can earn his shot. Selena, Kandis, they both were, in at least one case, directly on my watch. Rise to Greatness XX, to me, was a new chapter. Olek could govern as he saw fit. I will do as I see fit. And if people have problems, well, wrestlers love to argue and complain. Either prove it in the ring, or make my decision-making easier. And if a few hearts are broken, well…remember my nickname.”

Winters: “Thank you for your time.”

CHBK: “Thank you.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We return to a panning shot of the crowd.

Knots: “I don’t think that’s going to make people much happier.”

Sharper: “CHBK sticking to his decision. Clearly it’s a desire to give Selena Frost her rematch from Rise to Greatness. But I don’t know if Kandis wants to wait, even if she has Konrad Raab, and trust me, Kandis wants to take Raab out.”

Knots: “It’s more the why. For Selena to return, she needed to win. She did, but clearly that screw up by someone in SCW’s Front Office is one reason for it. That’s what I’m thinking, reading between the lines.”

Sharper: “And Selena wanted to prove herself and if she did, she wanted what she was owed. And CHBK agreed.”

Knots: “Well, the thing is, as a former wrestler, he’d know how much he hated not getting his rematches back in the day. So I can buy that!”

Backstage, Kandis can be seeing shoving a monitor over backstage. She then turns and starts to storm off. The crowd roars seeing her as she walks past the camera.

Knots: “And there’s your answer for Kandis!”

Sharper: “Kandis to be in action later tonight. And I think Autumn Valentine better be ready for a long night!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Kirsten Scott punching Lues with a hard right before grabbing Pain as he tries to tackle her down. The Oracle is pushed into a locker room by Hailey as Hailey kicks Mordred before Harker grabs her, lifting her up and throwing her into the wall. The One grabs at Pain and tries to keep control before Lues turns and nails The One with a series of hard rights.

Sharper: “Not again! Last week they went after The One! After Kirsten Scott! House of James going for blood this week.”

Knots: “They said tonight is about violence!”

Scott tries to hold on as Harker runs over and nails her too. She falls to the mat. Lues and Pain then start to stomp away on her as we see James Evans down the hallway, watching, arms folded across his chest, the SCW Underground Championship over his shoulder.

Sharper: “And James Evans overseeing this mugging! We need officials!”

Harker stomps at The One as Scott covers up and Lues and Pain keep stomping. Mordred pins Hailey down, using his weight. Scott keeps covering up before we see Cassie Wolfe running in, steel chair in hand. She nails Lues in the back and then swings at Pain. Pain and Lues stagger back. Harker turns to meet the assault, but Wolfe swings and catches him in the hand. Harker winces, shaking out his hand and then Wolfe swings and nails him in the shoulder. Harker falls over and gets up. He turns to keep fighting before Wolfe steps up, only to be joined by officials who come onto the scene and start to split the two parties up.

Sharper: “Cassie Wolfe saving The One Kirsten Scott!”

Knots: “After fighting last week, after what Scott said…Wolfe guess still has a problem with Evans!”

Wolfe backs up and looks at Scott as Scott looks up, more annoyed than anything, before wincing in pain. The House of James is forced back as James turns and walks away.

Derek Adonis vs. Konrad Raab

KABLAAAAAAAAAAM!!!

The opening horns of “Weird Al” Yankovic’s “Wanna B Ur Lovr” begin to play out over the crowd, meaning the crowd is about to be graced by the presence of a living love machine – the Man-Mountain known as Derek Adonis!

And there he is! Stepping out amidst spotlights of every colour of the rainbow alongside his new KABLAMpress, Candy Adonis, the man’s outfit radiates light against a few blacklights slipped in, and he is completely oblivious to his detractors, basking in the glow of the spotlight as he begins his sensual stride towards the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, accompanied by Candy Adonis, he is Man Mountain, Derek Adonis!”

If you’re so inclined, you should check out the lyrics to the song that Adonis is entering to, because they really paint their own tapestry almost as well as the man himself is able to, stopping at various points on his walk down towards the ring to hit on some of the more attractive females in the area – without caring about the potential of boyfriends, husbands or security. He’ll take their hand, whisper sweet nothings to them (and, if you’ve seen girls at shows put in this kind of embarrassing situation, these do the same as all of them – and just laugh) and plant his lips ever so gently upon said hand before moving farther down the ramp.

As the chorus comes around, Adonis steps up the ramp, taking each step with added emphasis. He gets onto the apron and after winking at a particularly friendly female (probably the most receptive to advances of earlier), pulls himself through the ropes. He gyrates just a little bit in the ring (it’s better than his twerking – trust me) as his music fades.

Sharper: “Derek Adonis no longer has his casket. Walking to the ring himself.”

Knots: “Because it was needed for something bigger – Lyman’s resurrection!”

Sharper: “But Man Mountain returns and Konrad Raab, last time we saw Derek Adonis, beat him down, angry about his sponsoring his Fatal Fortunes match. Adonis, I hope you’re ready for revenge.”

Knots: “Me too!”

Feuer Frei by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace in the air, wearing red and black skull face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands. Ginny Raab walks out behind him. Raab crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Cologne, Germany, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos. Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes, while Ginny walks up the stairs and gets in the ring with Konrad. As he's in the ring, Konrad, without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, with Ginny taking Konrad's flanged German mace away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head as Ginny leaves the ring and goes backstage.

Sharper: “You can see the anger on Konrad Raab’s face.”

Knots: “Adonis has two goals – survive and don’t get set on fire!”

Sharper: “Both good goals. He may want to also try to win.”

Knots: “We can’t have it all, Sharper!”

The bell sounds and Raab runs at Adonis and goes for a violent clothesline. Adonis ducks and spins around and backs up. He looks around as Raab turns and runs at him again and goes for another violent clothesline. Adonis ducks and Raab turns around and Adonis reaches up and rakes his eyes. The crowd roars. Adonis then brings his fist up. He points at Raab as Raab rubs his eyes. Raab then turns and lunges and Adonis goes for a hard right, but Raab blocks it and drills Adonis with a European uppercut. The crowd ohs as Adonis rolls over and gets up. Raab then steps up and hits a left jab and a hard right and Adonis falls into the ropes. Raab follows up and nails Adonis with a hard right and then another and another.

Sharper: “Raab throwing right hands. Trying to just pummel Adonis to start us off here.”

Knots: “Good thing Adonis has a lot of padding!”

Sharper: “Not on his jaw!”

Raab turns and threatens the official. Adonis drops to the mat and rolls to the floor. Raab then turns around and looks around for Adonis. He walks to the corner and then glances over the ropes. He steps through the ropes and to the floor. (1) Adonis moves along the ground. Raab storms after Adonis and Adonis grabs him by the tights and pulls him face first into the steel steps. (2) The crowd ohs. Adonis pulls himself up. He looks at Raab and nods and rolls into the ring. (3) Raab grabs at the ring steps, clearly incensed. He then turns and rolls into the ring. He goes to get up and Adonis hits an elbow drop to the back of his head.

Sharper: “And Adonis catches Raab coming in.”

Knots: “Just stay on him. Don’t stop. Ref says stop. Keep going. It’s survival!”

Adonis gets up and elbows him again. Raab rolls over to the corner. He starts to get up and Adonis steps up and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. He grabs Raab and goes to whip him across the ring. Raab spins through and sends Adonis into the ropes. Adonis hits hard and Raab runs at him and nails him with a running clothesline into the corner. Adonis staggers out and Raab spins around and drills him with a lunging European uppercut. Adonis hits the mat. Raab turns and looks at him and stomps him in the jaw. He stomps him again and again and again. Raab walks around the ring before then turning and diving onto Adonis. He side mounts him and drills him with repeated right hands to the jaw. Adonis kicks at the mat as Raab pummels him further.

The camera angle changes, revealing Raab choking Adonis while striking him. Raab gets up and gets in the face of the official. He then turns around and Adonis rolls over only for Adonis to hit a hot shot. Raab falls back. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Adonis again – Raab comes in and Adonis catches him.”

Knots: “Man Mountain is not giving up. He could just taking the whipping, but…”

Sharper: “Well with Raab, do you want to think he’d stop?”

Knots: “That’s fair. Raab would probably keep beating on a corpse!”

Raab turns and gets up to his feet only to turn and Adonis scoops him up and hits a fall forward slam. Adonis gets to his feet and hits an elbow drop. He goes for the pin, as the crowd cheers.

Raab kicks out. Raab rolls over and uses the ropes to get up. He then turns around and Adonis nails him with a hard right and then a left and then a hard right before kicking him in the ribs. He pulls Raab in and goes for a powerbomb. He goes to hoist him up, but Raab back drops him. Adonis rolls over and starts to get up and Raab then drills him with a European uppercut. Adonis turns and Raab grabs him and hits a release German suplex.

Sharper: “And Raab hoisting Adonis up and throwing him back.”

Knots: “Didn’t go for the Frozen Pin though. I think you’re right. He’s going to keep going!”

Raab turns and gets up and looks at Adonis and stomps him in the face and then again. Adonis rolls over and into the corner. Raab then pulls him up about half way before placing his foot on the throat of Adonis. Raab yells at him as Adonis struggles.

The official tells him to get off again. Raab turns and grabs the official by the cuff. He then steps forward as the official warns him. Adonis, half out of it, shakes out some of the cobwebs and runs out and hits a diving clubbing clothesline to the side of Raab, knocking him down. The official falls back and rolls over. Adonis starts to get up as Raab pulls himself up and grabs Adonis, but Adonis hits a jawbreaker. Raab staggers back and to the ropes. The crowd roars as Raab falls to the middle rope. We then see Kandis, chair in hand, storming to the ring. She then walks up to the ring and Raab looks up as Kandis swings and drills him in the head. Raab gets a hand up, but Raab falls back and staggers up to his feet. He moves to the corner and Adonis runs across and hits the KABLAM!

Sharper: “Kandis – must have seen the sit-down interview. And a shot to Konrad Raab. Chair shot!”

Knots: “Raab dazed! Oh no!”

Sharper: “KABLAM!”

Knots: “You too?!”

Adonis turns as Raab falls to the mat. Adonis rolls through, hooking the leg. The official turns.

The crowd cheers as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Derek Adonis!”

Kandis turns and heads to the back, throwing the chair down. She then turns and glances back before turning back, clearly pissed off. Adonis rolls over and looks around. He then gets up and has his arm raised.

Sharper: “And Derek Adonis has just pinned Konrad Raab!”

Knots: “Oh that’s only going to make him more docile!”

Sharper: “Adonis right now doesn’t care. He got his revenge!”

Adonis looks around and then yells out “KABL:AM!” getting a few fans to go along with it. He then nods as he celebrates some. Raab slowly rolls over, holding his head and looking up. He then lunges at Adonis and Adonis turns and quickly exits the ring and lands on the floor. He then backs up before turning and pumping his fist as the crowd cheers. Raab looks up, incensed, as Adonis walks around the ring, continuing his celebration, before the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see The One Kirsten Scott in her locker room as Hailey checks on The Oracle. She turns back as Scott, touches her forehead and then her lip.

Scott: “Getting sick of this. You want a fight-“

Scott stops and looks up as Cassie Wolfe walks into the scene and looks at her.

Wolfe: “You okay?”

Scott looks down and sighs.

Wolfe: “A thank you? Anything?”

Scott: “Why the hell would you even save me?”

Wolfe: “Call it youth and innocence? Or how about…you may have been a bitch to me, but I’m not going to let that take over or whatever they want to do. They’re effing boring! And if they’re going to jump people, when I heard what he said about me. You know what, maybe people just need to step up to this.”

Scott looks at Wolfe briefly before looking down.

Wolfe: “Fine…you’re welcome-“

Wolfe turns and leave, but Scott then stops her.

Scott: “Cassie!”

Wolfe turns around.

Scott: “Thanks…I owe you one.”

Wolfe looks at Scott before turning and heading off as Scott looks down, annoyed.

COMMERCIALS

Xander Valentine is backstage, sitting on a storage crate. Artemis is talking to him as we see Jaina Lancaster, followed by Destiny Page, walking over to him.

Jaina: “Xander, can I get a word?”

Xander looks up.

Jaina: “You had to have heard the comments from SCW COO Alex Desoubrais, CHBK, earlier tonight. He mentioned you specifically, focusing on what happened after he came into his position. You were out there last week and clearly are positioning yourself for a World Title shot, but it looks like you may have to wait until past Retribution.”

Xander takes a deep breath and looks at Jaina.

Xander: “If Kandis survives…”

Xander pauses as the crowd gives a mixed reaction.

Xander: “Or maybe I just have to remove doubt. I may not get my rematch. But I’ll make it so everyone knows I should have that shot. Just ask Holly Adams about what facing me when I’m motivated feels like. What about Syren? So if this is what CHBK wants unleashed…so be it.”

Xander turns back to Artemis. Jaina nods.

Jaina: “Back to ringside.”

Alistaire Allocco vs. Kimberly Williams

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play. A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight. She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it. She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans. The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, she is the Queen of Chaos! Kimberly Williams!”

Rise!!!!
Look deep into his eyes!
Rise!!!!
Look deep into his eyes, that's where the fire lies!

The spotlights shine forth from the stage, bathing the entire arena in blinding white lights corresponding with a verse of “Eyes Like Fire” by Collision of Innocence. A figure stands in front of the curtains; his arms are extended horizontally, and his legs are spread. His back is turned to the audience. His presence incites a chorus of cheers from the crowd. As the bright lights start to dim, you can tell the man is wearing pure white tights. A blood-red sleeveless coat stretched from his defined torso down to his equally bright white boots, the SCW Adrenaline Championship draped over his shoulder. Pyros explode around the entranceway, timed perfectly for Alistaire Allocco to kick out his leg to turn to face the crowd as the chorus of his theme kicks in: He begins to walk down the ramp with his dark eyes staring intently at the ring before him. He marches down with purpose, waving and smiling to the children in the crowd. He stops at the bottom of the ramp for a moment before launching forward, sliding into the ring.

Phillips: “And her opponent, he is the current SCW Adrenaline Champion…Alistaire! Allocco!”

Once in the ring, he discards his coat by tossing it to the referee. He’s in the center of the ring, he hops up and down, switching his weight behind his feet as he stands. As the song begins to fade out, Alistaire stares at his goal, handing the Adrenaline title to the referee.

Handing the title over, the referee calls for the bell. Kimberly and Alistaire begin to circle around before engaging in a tie-up. Kim pulls Alistaire into a side headlock, before Alistaire lifts her off the mat and drops her into a bridging belly to back suplex for a quick cover.

1!

Kim kicks out.

Sharper: “The number one contender to the Underground Championship, Kimberly Williams, taking on former SCW World Champion and the current Adrenaline Champion, Alistaire Allocco. Great mesh of styles in my opinion.”

Kim and Alistaire get to their feet and go for another tie-up. Alistaire pulls Kim into a side headlock, before transitioning behind her, taking her down to the mat before locking in an inverted chokehold. The ref checks on Kim, who is already moving to break the hold.

Knots: “Kim is known more her experience in the Underground, or hardcore wrestling, while Alistaire remains very mat based.”

Kim slides out from Alistaire’s grip and rolls away. Alistaire goes to get up and Kim connects with a running forearm smash. Alistaire drops to one knee as Kim grabs his left arm, twisting it. Kim then drives a hard elbow into the back of the arm. Alistaire does a front flip then a back, managing to get his arm in the appropriate position, but Kim, with her hands on his wrist, pulls Alistaire in and hits a high knee. Alistaire hits the mat and Kim goes for the cover.

Alistaire kicks out!

Sharper: “Kim showcasing her knack for holds here tonight, as well.”

Kim grabs Alistaire, pulling him to his feet, but Alistaire connects with a European uppercut. Kim stumbles back before Alistaire hooks Kim and plants her with a T-bone suplex. Alistaire goes for another pin attempt.

1!

2!

Kim shoots the shoulder up!

Knots: “Alistaire surprising Kim with that suplex, but still only getting a two.”

Sharper: “Great back and forth contest. You have to wonder what the Underground Champion is thinking.”

Knots: “He might actually be proud of Kim for once.”

Sharper: “Of course, ladies and gentlemen, Kim will face James for the Underground Championship when we come to you live on Pay-Per-View with Body, Heart, and Soul.”

Alistaire pulls Kim up and goes to twist her arm, but Kim fires away with a forearm, followed by a second. Alistaire covers up. Kim hits a kick to the abdomen, pulling Alistaire’s hands from his face, before Kim follows up with a superkick to the jaw, leveling the former World Champion.

Knots: “Kim with Morrigan’s Wrath.”

Alistaire rolls over onto his stomach, clutching at his jaw as Kim hooks a leg, steps through with her own and drops down, locking in the STF, pulling back on Alistaire.

Sharper: “Kim locking in the STF, showing her proficient she can be on the mat.”

Alistaire immediately grabs the bottom rope. Kim tries to pull him away, but to no avail. Kim breaks the hold and gets to her feet as Alistaire rolls out of the ring.

Sharper: “Allocco going to the outside, presumably to collect himself. Oh wait! What do we have here?”

The cameras show Lexy Chapel and Autumn Valentine standing atop the entrance ramp. Lexy points at Alistaire. Autumn smirks before they make their way down towards the ring.

Knots: “And here comes the ‘Allocco Assassin’!”

Sharper: “And that’s not all…”

The cameras show Adam racing out from the back. The crowd cheers as Alistaire looks prepared to confront Lexy and Autumn, before Adam gets in between the three. The cameras get close as Adam begins to argue with Lexy and Autumn, as Alistaire tries to pull his father away.

Sharper: “Autumn is one of two challengers competing against Alistaire at Body, Heart, and Soul for the Adrenaline title. Clearly trying to get into the head of the champion.”

Lexy is shown backing off as Adam steps closer, with Alistaire pulling him back once again. Lexy is then shown shoving Autumn, who falls into Adam, who falls into Alistaire.

Knots: “They’re falling like dominoes. Oh! Watch out!”

Just then, Kim is shown diving off the top rope, colliding with all four on the outside. The crowd cheers as they all fall to the floor. Kim stands up and smirks, taking a bow before grabbing at Alistaire.

Knots: “The Queen of Chaos taking out Lexy, Autumn, and the Alloccos. Her mind is on the match.”

Kim is shown rolling Alistaire into the ring before climbing to the top turnbuckle. The crowd cheers some more, before Kim leaps off and connects with a Phoenix splash! Kim hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Kim hitting the Chaos Theory. Is it enough to put the Adrenaline Champion away?”

1!

3!

The crowd cheers as the ref calls for the bell and “Patient Number 9” hits once again. Kim gets to her feet, looking a little too pleased with herself at the ‘chaos’ she caused.

Phillips: “Here is your winner by result of a pin fall…the Queen of Chaos…Kimberly Williams!”

Kim gets on the top rope and jaws with the fans as they continue to cheer for her. She motions to her waist, like she’ll be wearing championship gold once again. The cameras catch Lexy and Autumn getting to their feet on the outside before showing Adam checking on Alistaire inside the ring. Kim is shown looking down at the Alloccos, a wicked grin on her face before she celebrates with the fans a few moments longer, as we cut away.

Backstage, Jaina Lancaster, with Destiny Page looking on, stands with the Playgirls, Colleen and Aisling.

Jaina: “Welcome backstage. I’m with the Playgirls, Colleen and Aisling. And tonight, the European Fiery Nation jumped you, cost you the match, and tried to injure you. You both look alright, but first, are you alright, and you have a response?”

Colleen: “Are we alright? Oh, we will be. As for a response, we have a simple one. Give us the European Fiery Nation at Body, Heart, and Soul. Just like Polly is going to show Sarah Wolf that you should’ve just let it go, you two should’ve stayed out of our way. But you want a fight, come on out.”

Aisling nods.

Colleen: “And if you two want to make it fun for you, since you two can’t see a world that doesn’t play by the rules, we’ll play by the chaos too. And bring Team Desire, throw them in there too. CHBK, book the match. We can beat the Stewards and we’ll teach European Fiery Nation a message. Simple as that.”

Aisling: “They wanted to play games…too bad we’re done with that.”

Aisling and Colleen head off.

Jaina: “The challenge has been laid down. Body, Heart, and Soul could be a wild night. More Breakdown after this!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see Bree Lancaster sitting in her locker room, the camera off to her side.

Bree: “So you want my thoughts on Autumn and Alistaire? Or Lexy and Adam?”

Bree shakes her head.

Bree: “Let them toy with one another. Let the Chapel Show or LexyCorp or whatever she is and let the Alloccos and their self-righteousness burn each other. I’ll sit back and watch. Not because I don’t want the fight. That will come at Body, Heart, and Soul. But because I don’t need to play the games.”

Bree pauses briefly.

Bree: “They can do and say whatever they want to one another. I’m going to focus on one thing – professional wrestling and outwrestling both Autumn and Alistaire to become the Adrenaline Champion again at Body, Heart, and Soul!”

Bree shrugs.

Bree: “Then Autumn can try to assassinate Alistaire or Adam or whatever. And I’ll happily defend the title against anyone and everyone. See you in just over a week.”

Bree leans back as the scene cuts away.

The opening riff to "Smooth Sailing" by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 11 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, proudly holding the SCW World Championship.

Sharper: “Last week, Selena Frost returned. Superkicked Asher Hayes and then left.”

Knots: “And we heard CHBK’s rationale for giving her the shot. Time for the champ to respond!”

Asher Hayes looks around and smirks as he then starts to slowly walk down to the ring. The crowd gives him a mixed reaction. Hayes enjoys it as he milks his march to the ring. He stops at the bottom of the rampway and looks around before then walking around the ring. He smugly looks around before going over to Jason Phillips. He demands a microphone. Phillips hands him one and Hayes takes it and turns back to the ring. He then walks up the steel steps and walks along the apron, looking out at the crowd. He steps into the ring. He then backs up and looks out at the crowd. He then slowly holds his title over his head. The crowd continues to give him a mixed reaction. Hayes slowly brings the title back down and throws it over his shoulder. Hayes smirks as his music fades out.

Hayes: “Well…that’s it, huh?”

Hayes looks around.

Hayes: “Selena Frost was owed a World Title shot! And that’s how we get here. After she ran and ran because she couldn’t have you!”

Hayes points to the crowd.

Hayes: “Hey Brooklyn! I know you’re a second-rate city, competed to Chicago, but let her know what you think of her!”

The crowd boos loudly. Hayes looks around and laughs as the cameras pan across the crowd, many showing the crowd booing.

Hayes: “I’ve been coming out here for months. For months, I have given this promotion the one thing worth watching. Me at the top! Me holding this title. Me and my Kismet dominating at the top of the card. Lyman – didn’t even get a chance. James Evans! Nope! Autumn Valentine – couldn’t even get out of the blocks. Deanna…oh I’ll come back to her. How’s the knee? And Kandis…probably best you didn’t put her against me, AD. I don’t know if she could handle getting another loss to yours truly. But instead, you dust off Selena Frost. And the world was shocked!”

Hayes looks around and shakes his head.

Hayes: “Yeah, shocked. This is the best she could do? Dress up like someone who frankly, most of our fans don’t remember. Do you remember him? Did you know Dillusion dressed up like him? Did you know Hakuri Keitaro was a former Adrenaline Champion? Do any of you care? And yet, he comes back and some people cheer. And I knew it…something was off. Adam Riddick knows he’s got better things to do. Dillusion’s not that smart. He’s broken down. And of course, it was her.”

Hayes walks over to the ropes and leans on them.

Hayes: “And because she’s all about integrity, she had to prove she’s as full of shit as ever. Kicked me when I didn’t see it…good thing I’m tough. I’m bouncing right back, unlike your wife, Deanna, who is limping around after I nearly shattered my knee. Some people just aren’t made for the sport. Arm last year. Then your knee. Maybe you should take a powder…take your wife, drag her away. She can keep complaining about the good old days. Oh! There’s integrity. Everyone sucks but me. Oh, why do they hate me? How about because you sanctimonious bitch who probably yells at your Starbucks barista because your latte wasn’t mixed well, Selena!”

The crowd roars. Hayes looks around.

Hayes: “They’re sick of you. There’s nothing fresh here. It’s a retread of a retread where the Snow Queen hopes to ride on her hopes and dreams and get back her title, but Selena, no one wants you here. They wished you died. Trust me – we’d have maybe cheered you then if you effed off for good, but now you’re back. Back and pushed your way into a situation that didn’t need you, didn’t want you, and to be blunt, I don’t think you deserve. Rematch from Rise to Greatness? Sometimes you just face greatness and you get beat, Selena. And since you got beat by Kandis…sometimes you just get beat by someone better. But there’s always the top dog around here who is better than anyone else and I’m better than both of you!”

Hayes laughs.

Hayes: “And with my Kismet, you don’t have a chance.”

Hayes looks around.

Hayes: “Have a problem with it, Selena?”

Hayes turns to the entrance way.

Hayes: “Don’t you want to come out and run me down, talk about how I cheated my way. I beat Kandis with a chair to get here. I haven’t had a straight up match. I nearly crippled our wife just to hold onto this. Want to make her feel like crap because she FAILED!”

Hayes scoffs.

Hayes: “I wouldn’t be surprised if you did think that. She’s been trying to get out of your shadow and now you come back and no one cares about what she did and she was fine. Some potential there. Maybe a chance to be champion when I’m bored. But not now Selena.”

Hayes looks at the stage.

Hayes: “Want to prove me wrong? Come on out. Tell me to my face!”

Hayes looks at the stage. He leans on the ropes.

Hayes: “Don’t you all want to see Selena? Hear her rant? Tell me how I shouldn’t be champion because I don’t meet what she thinks is right? Lord Selena? Huh?”

The crowd boos loudly.

Hayes: “Come on! It’s practically her home town!”

The crowd boos some more as Hayes looks around and smirks. Hayes walks around the ring, enjoying the reaction, even extending the microphone toward the crowd.

Sharpers: “Hayes just enjoying this.”

Knots: “It’s his world! He’s the champion. He’s loving it!”

Sharper: “I’ll admit though, I’m surprised Selena Frost is not responding. She’s always had no problem walking to that ring and speaking her mind, face to face.”

Hayes looks around and turns back to the middle of the ring.

Hayes: “Or maybe you just know Selena that you don’t have a chance when I beat Deanna. Don’t want both of the Frosts to look bad in front of the kids? Too bad, Selena. You come back and step into MY world now. It’s not the same SCW as it was. Thank God for that, but trust me, no one can touch me, Selena.”

Hayes walks over and leans on the ropes, looking right at the hard camera.

Hayes: “And Selena, after this contrived, so-called, shocking return…you won’t get it done at Body, Heart, and Soul. And maybe you’ll realize. Stay home. No one wants you. No one likes you. Deanna is a saint. And a champion. You won’t be. Because you can’t touch me. This isn’t like the past. Everything is as it should be. And Kandis…Retribution…I’m only a few weeks away…and then SCW has a new question. Do they have anyone on my level?”

Hayes laughs.

Hayes: “No one they need me. No wonder this is my world. No one can come even close!”

Hayes steps back and flips the microphone into the air as “Smooth Sailing” plays throughout the arena. He shakes his head and walks around the ring.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes as confidence…maybe arrogant…as ever.”

Knots: “After getting kicked in the face-“

Sharper: “Saying it was predictable. Asher Hayes can say what he wants. That’s the thing. He will say and do what he wants. But it’s going to come down to what happens when the bell rights and Selena Frost has been waiting for this for months. You saw End of the Year Special. She looked good.”

Knots: “Yeah, but does she have Kismet?”

Sharper: “Will she need it?”

Hayes then turns and exits the ring. He holds his hand up to high-five fans. Some high-five him, some still boo him despite his opponent. Hayes laughs as he walks around the ring. He then starts to walk up the rampway. He then straightens the World Championship over his shoulder before continuing on his way to the ring, smiling proudly.

Adam Brock vs. La Pequena Luz

SCW Television Championship

The howl of a wolf echoes throughout the arena, sending chills down everyone’s spines. The howl is followed by a low bass line which is eventually joined by drums and guitars, then the vocals of "Promised Land" by Queensryche kick in.

“Watching sand fall...
And listening for the knock
Upon my door (Listen)
And waiting...
For Promised Land”

FWOOSH!!! A series of red, gold and silver fireworks go off at the top of the ramp in a shimmering cascade. A roaming spotlight seeks to penetrate the darkness and find something... Or, perhaps, SOMEONE. A momentary silence, then...

POW!

Four blue fireworks go off and engulf the stage in their light. And as they die away, the darkness falls once more. But it’s not complete... The roaming spotlight catches glimpses of movement, but it’s too indistinct.

“Standing deep in life
My ring of brass
Lay rusting on the floor
Is this all?
Cause it’s not
What I expected!”

BAM!

White-hot green fireworks go off now and this time the spotlight DOES catch someone. Standing there amid the ghastly green glow is the one and only “Wolfsbane” Adam Brock! The fans erupt in a cavalcade of screaming and applause that seems to catch him off guard, but only for a second. He grins wickedly and makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans and pausing to hug a little boy. One overenthusiastic fan grabs him around the neck in a big hug and he makes a big deal out of it, letting one leg go forward in a comical display of being snared. Then he turns around and gives her a huge hug in return before she lets him go. Some of the fans are laughing now... The twinkle in his eye tells them he did that on purpose!

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit, and it is for the SCW Television Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania… ‘Wolfsbane’ Adam Brock!”

He grins and jogs up the ring steps before grabbing the top rope and catapulting over it to stand in the middle of the ring. Once his feet make contact, the cleverly disguised pyro containers secured to the ringposts go off and send showers of purple confetti fireworks all over the crowd. It showers down over him as he turns a slow circle in the ring, basking in the cheers of the adoring fans. When the last of the confetti touches down, Adam does one final turn to face the ramp, hands resting on his legs above his knees.

Sharper: “Adam Brock already sending a message earlier tonight to Simon Lyman, throwing his bodyguard Elijah Smith off the stage and through a table. If he can walk out of here with the SCW Television Title as well, then he’ll have all the momentum in the world heading into Body, Heart & Soul.”

Knots: “I don’t see why he keeps feeling the need to get involved in other people’s business. Simon’s done nothing to him! That said, if what he did earlier tonight didn’t grab Simon’s attention, then perhaps succeeding where Simon failed a little over a month ago in dethroning La Pequeña Luz will do the trick!”

“Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play as bright white lights begin flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. La Pequeña Luz skips out onto the stage with the SCW Television Championship around her waist and the kind of smile that could light up an entire room all on its own plastered to her face, dancing a bit to her theme song and waving her arms in an attempt to get the crowd pumped up, drawing cheers. As she looks down towards the ring, the smile fades as something seems to flicker through her mind, but she’s snapped out of the trance as Amelia Blythe slowly makes her way out with both SCW World Tag Team Championship belts resting on her shoulders, placing a comforting hand on Luz’s shoulder. With a quick kiss to her cheek, Luz’s smile returns as Amelia shifts one of the Tag Title belts to her hand and the two proceed to lock hands around it before heading down to the ring, Amelia trying her best to keep up with Luz’s energetic skipping.

Phillips: “His opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Amelia Blythe, from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico, she is one-half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions and the SCW Television Champion… La Pequeña Luz!”

Once they reach ringside, Luz pulls Amelia into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she hops up onto the apron, grabbing the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. Luz begins skipping around the ring, motioning once more for the fans to make some noise as they answer this call while Amelia takes her place in Luz’s corner on the floor, chuckling to herself and shaking her head at Luz’s energy. Luz removes the TV Title from around her waist and holds it high in the air as Amelia does the same with their Tag Title belts, drawing even more cheers. At that, Luz hands the TV Title to the referee before removing her robe to hand it off to Amelia, who gives some last minute advice and words of encouragement as she does so. The referee holds the Television Championship belt high before passing it off to the timekeeper.

Sharper: “La Pequeña Luz got a break from the grueling challenge of defending the Television Title every Breakdown last week as she and Amelia Blythe survived arguably the strangest World Tag Title defense they’ve had to date against Diamond Steele and The Enigma.”

Knots: “Probably not an experience they’d like to repeat anytime soon, and I don’t blame them.”

Sharper: “The TV Title back at the forefront of Luz’s concerns tonight, but you know she’s going to have to switch gears again when she and Amelia defend the Tag Titles at Body, Heart & Soul.”

Knots: “The longer she’s a double champion, the more you have to wonder how much of a toll it’s going to take on her.”

The bell rings and both athletes approach one another. As soon as they’re close enough to start grappling, Brock suddenly extends his hands, saying something to Luz before she responds with a smile and a nod as she shakes hands. With the show of respect out of the way, they step back for a moment before circling one another until they lock up. Brock, being the bigger of the two, easily takes control as he pushes Luz back until she’s in the corner, where the referee asks for a break. Adam breaks cleanly, but as he starts to back away, Luz grabs him by the wrist before stunning him with an open hand chop to the chest! He winces and looks at Luz as she gives him a smile before springboarding off the second rope and then the top rope into an arm drag! Adam gets to his knees, locking eyes with Luz before nodding in acknowledgment. He gets back to a vertical base and goes to lock up with Luz again, but she ducks underneath and rebounds off the ropes, but she’s surprised to find Adam having followed her and stunning her with a knee to the gut against the ropes! She staggers back to the center of the ring as Adam runs off the adjacent ropes before taking the champion down with a swinging neckbreaker!

Sharper: “These two clearly have respect for one another, and we’re seeing that become apparent in the early going of this matchup.”

Knots: “This is the kind of scenario that will easily lead to a game of one-upsmanship, and right now Brock’s the one with the upper hand.”

Luz starts trying to get to her feet, but Adam runs off the ropes and delivers a basement dropkick to the side of her head that puts her back on the mat. She rolls over to the ropes where Amelia starts shouting words of encouragement before Adam grabs Luz’s leg and pulls her to the center of the ring before turning her over into a single leg crab! He sits deep, trying to put as much pressure on Luz’s lower back as possible. The referee checks in with Luz but she refuses to tap out, desperately trying to pull herself to the ropes as Amelia locks eyes with her and encourages her that she can make it. Adam’s size advantage makes it difficult, but it’s not long before he realizes she’s getting close to a rope break and drags her back to the middle of the ring. As he does, though, he loosens his hold on her enough that once he has her back in the center, she pushes her upper body off the mat and manages to swing her free leg up and around his head before slipping through his legs and using the momentum to take him down to the mat with a unique low-angle hurricanrana variation! The fans cheer for this as Adam quickly gets back to his feet and rushes Luz while she’s still rising, but she rolls underneath a clothesline attempt before catching Adam as he turns with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown! Adam gets up again, but Luz immediately catches him on the button with a dropkick that sends him tumbling through the ropes and out to the floor! The fans are roaring at this as Luz takes a moment to try and stretch out her back.

Sharper: “Luz with a rather creative escape of that half-crab and she’s starting to build momentum.”

Knots: “It’s a proven fact at this point that letting either member of The Light In The Darkness build momentum is usually a terrible idea, but you have to wonder how much of Luz’s offense will be affected by that submission.”

Adam pulls himself to his feet, carefully taking in his surroundings expecting Luz to be ready to pounce, but he’s surprised to see the TV Champion patiently waiting for him to return to the ring while she recovers. The two exchange looks before they nod to one another and Adam slides back into the ring. Luz wastes no time in charging at him as he tries to catch her with a superkick, but she slides underneath before sweeping his plant leg out from under him and immediately follows up with a standing moonsault! She hooks the leg for the cover.

Adam Brock kicks out! Luz is undeterred by this as she waits for him to start getting back up before she dropkicks him from behind, knocking him into a position where he’s draped over the middle rope. She runs off the ropes before swinging into a tiger feint kick, and as Adam hits the mat Luz follows this up by slingshotting herself over the top rope into an elbow drop! She makes the cover.

2!

Brock kicks out again!

Sharper: “So far it seems like Luz has managed to shake off the effects of that half-crab because she's got Brock in a bad way right now.”

Knots: “He’s going to need to figure out some way to halt her momentum because otherwise he can kiss those TV Title hopes goodbye.”

As Adam slowly makes his way back to his feet, Luz moves to start climbing to the top turnbuckle, measuring him. Once Adam is back up he stumbles around for a moment before turning just as Luz launches herself into a diving crossbody! She connects, but the fans are on their feet as Adam manages to roll through before slowly climbing back to his feet with Luz in his grasp, her eyes wide in shock before he launches her across the ring with the Full Moon! Luz hits the mat before rolling out to the floor. Adam takes a moment to get his bearings before he heads over to that side of the ring, stepping out onto the apron and looking back as Luz starts getting back to her feet. Once she does, he springboards into an asai moonsault that drops her again! The fans are roaring louder as Amelia starts heading over, stopping well before she rounds the corner so the referee knows she has no plans to get involved as she calls out to Luz.

Sharper: “Just like that, Adam Brock has turned the tide of this match in a big way!”

Knots: “He’s not a big, powerful guy, but he’s quite a bit larger than Luz and right now that’s making a world of difference!”

Adam climbs back to his feet with help from the apron before he grabs a slow-rising Luz and throws her back into the ring. He turns and locks eyes with Amelia briefly before he starts climbing to the top turnbuckle, Amelia moving back as proof that she’s only out here to support her partner. Adam nods down to her in acknowledgment of this before he leaps off and lands on Luz with a swanton bomb, essentially giving Luz a taste of her own Vuelo Encantado! He makes the cover and hooks the leg.

Luz gets a shoulder up! Adam looks a bit surprised by this before he grabs Luz and pulls her up into a full nelson. He lifts her up for the Silent Screams, but Luz manages to hook her legs around his waist before rolling forward into a victory roll pin!

2!

Brock kicks out! As he tries to get back to his feet, however, Luz immediately catches him with the Flash Freeze! This causes Adam to roll out to the floor, stumbling a bit as he tries to get his bearings, unaware that Luz is measuring him. She runs off the ropes into a cartwheel before soaring out of the ring with the Space Flying Tiger Drop, only for Adam to rush forward and slide back into the ring to avoid it! Luz, somehow, manages to land on her feet, but as she turns she sees that Adam has also run off the ropes and notices him just in time as he flies out of the ring and catches her with the Call of the Wolf!

Sharper: “An incredible exchange there, but the veteran Brock managing to stay one step ahead of the champion Luz!”

Knots: “He’s got Luz struggling to gain momentum and that could very well net him the TV Title!”

As Adam starts pulling himself back to his feet while Luz is down and out, the fans suddenly begin to boo as the camera pans to see Elijah Smith, wrapped in bandages, slowly staggering out from the back and down towards the ring.

Knots: “How the hell is this guy still standing?”

Sharper: “Elijah Smith, Simon Lyman’s supposed bodyguard, making his way down to the ring after Brock threw him off the stage earlier tonight and, quite frankly, he has no business being out here at all!”

Unaware of this, Adam’s focus remains on the match at hand as he pulls Luz up just enough to roll her back into the ring before he rolls in as well. He grabs her head and looks like he’s about to apply the Desert Heat, but this is when he notices Elijah staggering down to the ring. He looks down at Luz before letting her go as he climbs out of the ring and goes to meet Elijah on the rampway. Elijah is begging Adam to take a shot at him as the distance is closed before he does exactly that, knocking Elijah flat on his back with one good punch. Adam just looks down at him and shakes his head before turning his attention back to the ring, taking note of the fact that Luz is still down but struggling to get back to her feet. Seeing an opening, he rushes back to the ring and hops onto the apron before climbing to the top turnbuckle, measuring Luz as she rises. Any hopes he has of catching her with the Roadkill are thwarted, however, when she suddenly leaps up with enough height to pull him off the top rope with a hurricanrana! The fans are on their feet with small chants of Luz’s name breaking out at the impressive display of athleticism, and Luz feeds off of that and Amelia pounding the apron in tune with the chants to pull herself to the top turnbuckle, measuring Adam before she leaps off with the Caer del Cielo! Adam rolls toward the corner to avoid it, but Luz manages to land on her feet and roll through. They both get up and Luz charges at Adam, but he explodes out of a crouch with the Appetite for Destruction, only for Luz to slide underneath it! Adam manages to land on his feet but stumbles a bit, not expecting to have to do that, and this ends up leaving him wide open for Luz to grab him from behind with the Lights Out! She makes the cover, hooking both legs as Amelia counts along with the fans.

The bell rings and “Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden hits again as Luz rolls off of Adam, using the ropes to help herself to her feet before Amelia rolls into the ring and assists her. The referee hands her the Television Title before raising Luz’s arm in victory, with Amelia raising her other arm and the title high.

Phillips: “Here is your winner and STILL SCW Television Champion… La Pequeña Luz!”

Sharper: “An incredible match between these two impressive athletes, but Luz’s Television Title reign continues on!”

Knots: “Part of me wants to call Luz a hypocrite for how she won, but Adam really has no one to blame but himself for getting distracted. For all we know, Elijah could’ve been coming out here to talk things out on Simon’s behalf after the match!”

Sharper: “Oh, give me a break.”

Adam slowly stirs, hearing Luz’s music and realizing he’s been beaten. He slowly pulls himself up enough to see Luz and Amelia talking in the corner, with Amelia pointing to somewhere outside the ring and Luz sighing at whatever it is. Still, she shakes it off before she and Amelia both offer to help Adam to his feet, which he accepts. Once he’s back up, the three of them have a bit of a chat before Adam still offers his hand to Luz, which she takes after getting confirmation from him that it’s alright. The fans cheer and applaud this as Amelia grabs their World Tag Team Titles before helping Luz out of the ring as the couple start heading to the back, seemingly already shifting gears to what awaits them at Body, Heart & Soul. Adam remains in the ring as Luz’s music fades once they’re through the curtain, looking disappointed in himself as he walks around for a moment before he goes to start heading to the back as well. He stops, however, when he catches Elijah out of the corner of his eye, having recovered enough to slowly pull himself up onto the apron on the adjacent side of the ring. Adam walks over to him, ready to deck him again, but Elijah is actually grinning as he points behind him, the sudden uproar of jeers becoming a sign that something’s not right. Adam glares at Elijah for a moment longer before turning around, just in time to eat a clothesline from Simon Lyman! Elijah climbs down off the apron, applauding as Simon walks around the ring for a moment before leaning over Adam, asking him if this is what he wanted.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman! He’s here in Brooklyn, and he just laid out Adam Brock after coming through the crowd!”

Knots: “Leading up to tonight, Adam claimed Simon wouldn’t accept his challenge to his face. Well, be careful what you wish for!”

Simon motions to Elijah, who takes a moment to dig around under the ring before he slides a steel chair under the bottom rope. Simon nods and hauls Adam to his feet before lifting him into a powerbomb position, taking a moment to make sure he’s lined up before he introduces Adam to the chair with The Adrenaline Shot! The fans are booing louder but Simon is unfazed, moving to sit on the top turnbuckle as he looks down at Adam writhing in pain, motioning for him to get up. Once it’s clear Adam’s struggling too much to do so, he motions to Elijah who crawls into the ring and starts trying to lift Adam back to his feet, seemingly to feed him to Simon for what we can only assume is Putting on a Show, but the boos are quickly replaced by cheers as Simon turns his head just in time to see The Light In The Darkness bolting back down to the ring! He frantically waves Elijah off as he scrambles to get down before the two of them bail from the ring just as Luz and Amelia are sliding in. Luz immediately goes to check on Adam as Amelia moves towards the ropes, standing on them as she points at Simon and calls out his “heroic” behavior. Simon just laughs off Amelia’s words and waves off her challenge to get back in the ring, yelling out that he gave Adam exactly what he wanted as he and Elijah retreat up the ramp.

Sharper: “I don’t know what the hell’s gotten into Simon Lyman, but that’s not the same man who joined us here on commentary and became a respected name in this business. Thank God for The Light In The Darkness realizing what was happening and coming back out here.”

Knots: “They really should be turning their attention to defending those World Tag Titles at Body, Heart & Soul. On that note, if this was Simon officially accepting Brock’s challenge for a match on that show, then I think it’s safe to say advantage: Simon.”

Amelia stares them down before turning to join Luz and the official in checking on Adam once it’s clear Simon’s done what he came out here for, he and Elijah simply disappearing through the curtain in triumph at what they’ve done to Adam Brock.

Backstage, we cut to see Cassie Wolfe getting thrown into the wall as Harker follows up and grabs her. He throws her to Mordred who kicks her in the ribs. He then bends her over and hoists her up and hits a powerbomb onto a storage crate. The crowd ohs.

Evans: “Grab her. Let’s go. We need a more visual message.”

Mordred turns as Harker grabs Wolfe. The two larger men grab her and wrap her up and they start to carry her off. Lues and Pain watch as James supervises.

Sharper: “Where are they taking her? Where are they taking Cassie Wolfe?”

The scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns to the arena as we see Mordred carrying Cassie Wolfe over his shoulder. She starts to move and Harker steps up and cracks her in the jaw. Wolfe struggles as the crowd boos some more. James Evans saunters out from the back, holding his SCW Underground Championship. Lues and Pain start to go forward but Evans gets their attention and they come back. He says something to them. They then head to the ring. James slowly walks down after everyone.

Sharper: “James Evans and the House of James with Cassie Wolfe. Carrying her to the ring.”

Knots:” And if she starts to struggle, they immediately attack her!”

Sharper: “What does he have planned?”

Knots: “Lues and Pain are going to the ring.”

Lues and Pain walk around Mordred and Harker and go to the ring. They lift the ring skirt before dropping it down and walking around the ring. Mordred throws Wolfe into the ring. Harker and Mordred slide in. Wolfe gets up and runs over and dropkicks Harker in the side of the head. The crowd roars as Harker rolls over. Wolfe gets up and swings at Mordred who grabs her by the throat and hoists her up and drops her with a chokeslam. The crowd ohs as Wolfe rolls over in pain. Mordred then walks over to her and stomps her in the head for good measure. Lues and Pain continue to look under the ring before Lues looks up to James and shakes her head. He motions to the timekeeper and Pain and Lues nod. They both then look under the ring and both grab steel chairs. They slide them into the ring as James Evans slowly enters the ring. He walks forward as Lues and Pain unfold the chairs and place them next to one another. James Evans then points as Pain rolls to the floor. He grabs a third chair from under the ring before rolling back in. Lues goes and gets a microphone from Jason Phillips. Mordred and Harker stand over Wolfe. Wolfe stirs and one stomps her. Pain unfolds the third chair in the corner. James sits down on it. Lues extends the microphone to him James takes it.

Sharper: “They have two chairs, seat to seat.”

Knots: “Wolfe may need to cash in that favour…if Scott even will honour it!”

Sharper: “If she’s watching and after earlier…”

Evans: “Cassie…you should have just moved on. You are not ready to face this.”

Evans shakes his head.

Evans: “But you are useful enough to be a very good message. You’re young. You can be moulded. You can do better. And you will do better….whenever you return.”

Evans nods.

Evans: “Just remember…this is the wrestling you all claim to want? This is the fight of honour? That Kim represents? That others use! This is what you want?!”

Evans then looks at the crowd.

Evans: “And what I will use until I win!”

Evans nods again as Harker and Mordred then drag Cassie up. Cassie tries to fight, kicking and punching, but both knee her in the ribs. They then go to whip her across. The crowd roars as The One Kirsten Scott runs out from the back. She bolts to the ring and slides in. Cassie stops at the ropes as Lues runs over to her and attacks her. Scott enters and gets up and goes for James, who calmly steps back. Harker stops her and grabs her in a gutwrench. He hoists her up to a powerbomb position, but Scott hammers away and slides down. She then turns as Mordred clubs her. Scott tries to fight back.

Sharper: “Scott and Wolfe trying to fight back. The numbers just not there though!”

Knots: “And this could just mean more victims! More bodies! More messages!”

Mordred knees her as Harker comes over as Lues and Pain now attack Wolfe. Wolfe struggles, dropping to the mat. We then hear a roar from the crowd as Kimberly Williams runs out from the back, brandishing WASLEY. She runs down to the ring and then stops and turns and throws WASLEY towards Mordred and Harker. They manage to dodge him as Kim then spins around and runs over to the corner where James in. James gets up and Kim reaches in and pulls him to the floor. James lands on his feet and nails her with a shot. Kim fires back. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Kim coming in! WASLEY in the ring.”

Knots: “Don’t start with that!”

Sharper: “Kim going after James. At least one of the House is out of the ring!”

Kim and James trade blows before James throws Kim into the barricade. She starts to get up, pulling something from her pocket. James grabs her, but Kim turns and nails him with a shot. James goes up and over. Kim then reveals that she has some barbed wire wrapped on her hand, having pulled it from her pocket. She pulls it and it rips her attire a bit before she climbs over. James starts to get up and Kim nails him again. They fight through the crowd as James stumbles off. Back in the ring, Pain and Lue keep attacking Wolfe as Scott is held up by Mordred. Harker grabs WASLEY and looks at it. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Kim fighting James in the crowd!”

Knots: “But Harker has WASLEY! He may be a turncoat! At least for tonight!”

Sharper: “He’s not sentient!”

Harker then swings and nails Scott in the ribs with WASLEY. She goes down, snapping at Harker to do it again. She grabs at the ropes as we cut to show Kim going to nail James, but James throwing her into the doorway. Kim staggers and James nails her with a shot and throws her through. James follows after. Back in the ring, Mordred boots Scott in the head. He then turns and points to the chairs as Harker and Mordred stop with WASLEY and Scott and turn back to Wolfe.

Sharper: “Four on two. And now they’re refocusing on Cassie Wolfe!”

Knots: “Going to finish what they think James Evans wanted!”

Wolfe looks up, now being more defiant, before the crowd erupts in cheers as we see Amy Chastaine running out from the back with Jaina Lancaster in tow. They each have baseball bats. They run down to the ring. They slide in. The crowd roars as Jaina gets up and swings and nails Lues in the ribs.

Sharper: “It’s Amy Chastaine! Amy Chastaine and Jaina Lancaster!”

She drops down and rolls to the floor. Amy swings and catches Mordred in the arm and then swings and nails Harker. Pain runs at Amy and nails her with a shot an then another. Amy drops the bat and it rolls to Scott. Jaina turns and nails Pain with a hard shot to the chest. He drops down. Scott gets up and swings and nails Mordred once in the back and then again, sending him out of the ring to the floor. She turns and nails Harker with a blow any Pain falls back as Wolfe hits a pump kick. Amy then recovers as Jaina looks around and Amy jumps to the middle rope and dives back with a variation of the Blackout on Harker. Harker falls back and rolls over and out of the ring. Amy gets up and looks around as she turns to Jaina. Cassie winces, falling to a knee, holding her head as Scott, winces too, brandishing her back.

Sharper: “And four on four, the House has to retreat!”

Knots: “But look at the damage to Wolfe. To Scott. They’re putting on a brave face, but they took a beating!”

Sharper: “And only by the skin of their teeth are they not in worse shape. Scott saving Wolfe and Kim coming out. And now Amy Chastaine and her daughter, Jaina Lancaster, evening the odds and bringing some weapons.”

Amy walks around the ring and looks at the House as they regroup in the entrance way. The crowd roars as “Relentless” by New Years Day plays. Amy looks at them as Lues then backs up as Pain looks at the ring. Mordred and Harker look on too as Scott then heads to Wolfe and checks on her with Jaina. Amy grabs the bat from her daughter and stands guard as the scene cuts away.

Breakdown returns as we see Jaina Lancaster, Amy Chastaine, “The One” Kirsten Scott and “The Rebel Princess” Cassie Wolfe in the interview area. Destiny Page comes up to Jaina.

Page: “Jaina, are you okay?”

Jaina: “Yeah, just…we have a few things to get off of our chest.”

Wolfe: “Thanks everyone for…for helping.”

Jaina: “After earlier, it was easy for me.”

Chastaine: “And I’ve see James like this before. I’ve known James for…too long. I know how bad he can be. I’m not going to let him even get any further down this road. I’m not letting him doing this and this talk about the ends justifying the means….no….Not again.”

Wolfe: “We need to take the fight to them.”

Page: “How do you plan to do that?’

Chastaine: “Easy…we go to war. House of James against us. James Evans will defend against Kim and I hope Kim will win. We’ve not always seen eye to eye, but here, she’s on the right side. The other four…Cassie, you’re in. I’m in. Scott?”

Scott looks at them, clearly unfamiliar and uncertain about this.

Scott: “I…”

Chastaine: “I get it. You want to fight on your own. And you probably don’t like me. Old guard and all. If you want to play that game, then fine. Leave. We’ll find someone else. But if you want revenge when this is now the second week in a row they’ve targeted you because you dared call a shot…then get off it and move on.”

Scott looks at Chastaine and then glances at Cassie before turning back to her.

Scott: “Fine, I’m in.”

Chastaine turns to Jaina.”

Chastaine: “And Jaina-“

Jaina: “I have to stop you there, mom. I…”

Jaina sighs.

Jaina: “I went out because I saw you going and I’m not going to let you go in there. I saw what you saw when I interviewed them, but…I don’t know how much longer I can keep straddling the two careers and…I don’t know if I should risk it.”

Jaina glances at Destiny briefly before back.

Chastaine: “It’s fine, Jaina. I understand. And-“

Chastaine looks up as Chance Owens steps into the scene.

Chastaine: “Well…”

Owens: “You need a fourth?”

Chastaine turns to Scott. Scott just turns away, clearly uncertain.

Owens: “Kelsai’s busy. But I’m not.”

Chastaine: “Then here’s our army. House of James!”

Chastaine turns to the camera.

Chastaine: “Get ready for war…and Kim! Take it home!”

The crowd roars as the scene cuts away.

Crystal Zdunich vs. David Striker

“Man in the Box” by Like a Storm plays and the crowd roars. A few moments pass before David Striker walks out from the back and scans the arena. He then nods a bit as he turns to the ring and looks at his opponent. He then starts to head to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first…from Cameron, North Carolina, he is Bam Bam David Striker!”

The crowd applauds a bit as Striker heads to the ring and slides into the ring. He gets up to a knee and looks around before getting up to his feet. He then turns and runs into the ropes, before sticking his upper body under and out from the top rope, getting a louder reaction.

Phillips: “And his opponent…she is the ‘Burning Rose’…Crystal Zdunich!”

The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal's voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.

"YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!"

As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros.

Smile Bomb by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red haired "Burning Rose" Crystal Zdunich walks from the curtains. She is accompanied by her fiancée Alexandra Caldwell, and the two of them make their way to the ring. Crystal is focused as she walks to the ring with a purpose. She however slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way. She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside, she kips up to her feet. She tosses her Shoto inspired hoodie towards her wife as she awaits the start of the match. Alexandra cheers for her fiancée as Crystal is locked in a trance.

Sharper: “This match up pits the recently signed, David Striker against a long established name with SCW, Crystal Zdunich.”

Knots: “Bam-Bam versus the Burning Rose. Will Bam-Bam club her into the mat, or will Crystal set him aflame?”

Sharper: “I see what you did there, and while it may not have had the desired effect, A for effort.”

Knots: “It’s the thought that counts.”

The ref calls for the bell. David and Crystal circle the ring before David charges and takes Crystal down with a running big boot.

Sharper: “That’s one way to start things off.”

David picks Crystal up and connects with forearms, backing her into the ropes, before pulling her into a short arm lariat. David goes for the cover.

Crystal kicks out.

Knots: “I might have been right with my Flintstones reference.”

David pulls Crystal up once again and whips her across the ring. Crystal bounces off the ropes and David goes for another lariat, but Crystal dunks under. Crystal, standing behind David, grabs him, but David blasts her with a spinning back elbow, sending Crystal into the ropes.

Sharper: “What an elbow!”

Crystal bounces off the ropes, and David catches her, lifting Crystal up with a cradle suplex before dropping her down to the mat with a sit-out spinebuster. David goes for another cover.

Knots: “And Bam-Bam calls that The ‘Monster Mash’, planting Crystal with that spinebuster.”

Crystal kicks out once again!

Sharper: “Crystal showing she still has some fight left, but if she wants this win, she’s going to need to turn things around.”

David gets to his feet before reaching down to grab Crystal, but she manages to kick him in the face. David staggers back a bit, holding his nose before stepping forward once again. Crystal kicks his left knee and David down to one, before Crystal kicks him in the face a second time. David falls to the mat as Crystal uses the ropes to pull herself up.

David rolls over and gets to one knee. Crystal charges and hits a dropkick to the side of the head. Crystal gets up and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a baseball slide to the side of David’s head. She then goes for a cover of her own.

1!

2!

David shoots the shoulder up.

Knots: “Crystal might set Bam Bam on fire after all.”

Sharper: “Stop, please.”

Crystal gets to her feet, taking a step back as David gets up. David turns and Crystal charges and leaps up, grabbing David and planting him with a tilt-a-whirl DDT. Crystal runs and jumps onto the second rope, springing off and connecting with a moonsault. Crystal hooks the leg.

2!

David kicks out once more!

Sharper: “Crystal turning the tide but David kicking out at two.”

Crystal gets to feet and the lights begin to dim.

Knots: “What’s going on here?”

Sharper: “Given the recent weeks, I believe this has something to do with the Enigma.”

Smoke begins to filter out from the under ring and Crystal is shown looking around the ring. David is shown stirring as well, using the ropes to pull himself up.

Crystal: “LEAVE! ME! ALONE!!!”

Sharper: “Crystal letting the Enigma know how she feels. She wants this issue to be done and over with. Oh and David!”

David is shown grabbing Crystal and hitting a swinging reverse STO! David goes for the cover.

Knots: “David out of nowhere with what he calls the Death Penalty!”

The ref calls for the bell as the lights return to normal, and the smoke clears out, with “Man in the Box” begins to play through the arena.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, by result of a pin fall, ‘Bam Bam David Striker!”

David is shown celebrating in the ring as Crystal is being checked on by Alexandra, before one final shot of David is shown, before we cut away.

COMMERCIALS

Jason Phillips stands in the ring as Breakdown returns from commercial.

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time… the number one contender for the SCW World Championship: Selena Frost!”

Immediately, the arena fills to the brim with boos, the crowd deafening all other sound as, from the back, out walks The Snow Queen! Standing before the masses, Selena looks around at them slowly, a knowing smirk breaking across her features. She takes another moment to take in the reaction before marching down the ramp.

Sharper: “A rather shocking return last week to start off 2024 as we mentioned. And Asher Hayes trying to goad her out. She didn’t bite.”

Knots: “Worst day of the year so far!”

Sharper: “Well, the news has sent shockwaves through SCW, many people clearly taking exception to the decision made by CHBK and SCW management. But, whether you like it or not, that woman there will face Asher Hayes in just over a week for the world title!”

Reaching the ring, Selena walks up the steps and under the ropes, the crowd continuing to jeer her. Reaching for a microphone, she is given one by Phillips before returning to the center of the ring.

Sharper: “And for the first time in four months, we are going to hear from Selena Frost.”

Knots: “And I left my ear plugs in my hotel room… DAMMIT!”

The platinum-blonde takes a moment to look around the audience, her smirk never fading.

Selena: “S-“

She barely is able to get the letter out before she is drowned in the yelling of the audience.

Sharper: “Selena not even able to get a letter out before the SCW Universe makes their feelings known.”

Knots: “And, for once, I am grateful to them!”

Sharper: “Even if it doesn’t make sense, Jonathan?”

Knots: “If I had a nickel for everything here that doesn’t make sense, I could retire!”

Despite the noise, Selena lets out an unheard chuckle, once more looking out at the audience before calling out loudly into the microphone.

Selena: “Supreme Championship Wrestling!”

She is met with boos, but it does not deter her as she continues to grin, take a silent to stare into the hard-camera.

Selena (calmly): “Do you believe?”

Immediately, the jeers light up again in deafening volume!

Audience: “NO, WE DON’T! NO, WE DON’T! NO, WE DON’T!”

Knots: “That’s a negative on the support there, Frosty!”

Sharper: “And Selena, strangely, doesn’t seem affected by it.”

Calmly, Selena turns on the spot, taking in the audience reactions.

Selena: “Because I-“

??: “I BELIEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!”

The voice catches Selena off-guard, causing the Snow Queen to turn her head as, from the back, Religious Wright emerges, a megaphone in his hand! The audience continue their boos as the self-proclaimed ‘Truest Believer’ makes his way down the ramp.

Sharper: “Great, what does this guy want?”

Knots: “What do you think, Adam? He’s getting the chance to meet his ‘goddess’. This is his ‘getting to meet Elvis’ moment! Sucks that it’s Selena, though.”

Wright: “I BELIEVE!”

He continues to yell as he makes his way down to the ring, repeating it as he reaches it and again as he rolls into the ring to stand before Selena, who hasn’t moved from her spot.

Wright: “I believe. I believe.”

Carefully, he reaches out and pulls the microphone from Selena’s hands.

Wright: “I believe! Yes, I do! For months, I have spread the good word in your absence, Selena!”

The excitement in Religious Wright is off the charts as he grins, almost giddy, as he holds up the ‘Book of Selena’, complete with a sticker of Selena Frost on the cover.

Wright: “I spoke of the path of the ‘True Believers’! The path that all these people in SCW have forgotten like the heathens and ingrates that they are!”

He points at the entire audience.

Wright: “They who turned on you! They who betrayed you! They who did not appreciate all you did for them! But I…”

He pats his chest with his book.

Wright: “I did not lose hope! I knew that the second coming, the resurrection, of Selena Frost was nigh! I knew! OHHHHHHHH, how I knew! And now that you have returned, my goddess-“

Audience: “Shut the fuck up! Shut the fuck up!”

Wright takes a moment to cast a glance at the crowd before returning her attention to Selena.

Wright: “Now that you have returned, I am ready to serve you as ‘The Truest Believer’. To learn at your feet and watch as you not only become the NEW SCW World Champion but also take your rightful place, once more, at the top of ALLLLLLLLL S-C-W!”

The fans continue their boos as Wright holds the microphone out to Selena.

Wright: “Guide us, my goddess, with your sermon! Tell us how to be!”

Slowly, Selena reaches out and takes the microphone.

Knots: “Oh gods… don’t give Selena Frost a microphone and ask for a sermon! We’ll have to have next week’s Breakdown here too! Maybe even the Pay-Per-View!”

Sharper: “Selena, in the past, has always been appreciative of the support of the fans. I just don’t know how I feel about her only support, right now, being Religious Wright.”

Looking down at the microphone, Selena takes a moment before lifting her head to look at Wright, who nods eagerly at his goddess’ next words. A smile forms on Selena’s face as she lifts up the microphone… and blasts Wright in the face with it!

Knots: “WHOA!”

Sharper: “Selena just leveled Religious Wright with the microphone!”

Wright hits the mat hard as Selena watches him, the man too stunned from the blow to understand what just happened. Immediately, Selena knees down, grabbing the man by the shirt-collar and striking him with stiff punches, ones that grow in speed and ferocity as they continue!

Sharper: “Frost is laying into Wright in a vicious assault after Wright tried to promote his perceived goddess!”

Knots: “There’s a Jehovah Witness joke in there, I know it!”

Stopping her assault, Selena jumps to her feet before grabbing at the ropes and exchanges her punches for a few stomps before pressing her foot into the neck of Wright. Blood is seen coming from the man’s face from the microphone strike and the punches and stomps!

Without a word, Selena exits the ring, hopping to the mats before and pulling Wright under the ropes after her. Getting him to his feet, Selena slams the man’s head off the steel chairs before using his momentum as he snaps back to throw him into the barricade! The fans continue to boo Selena as loudly as before as the platinum-blonde stops to look out at them. Unfazed by their noise, the Snow Queen reaches over and grabs the timekeeper’s bell, waiting for Wright to pull himself to his feet before sending him crashing down as she slams the bell into his skull!

Sharper: “Oh good lord!”

Knots: “LAWDY LAWD!”

Sharper: “I don’t know what has gotten into Selena, but somebody get down here before she kills him!”

Tossing the bell away, Selena looks around the area before her eyes fall on the Spanish-Announce table. Moving over to it, she pulls the coverings and monitors off it before returning to the bloody mess that is Wright. Pulling him up, she drags him over to the table.

Sharper: “No come on! Not this too! Come on, Selena! I know he’s a scumbag, but this is too much! This is too far!”

Knots: “The point has been made. This is just overkill!”

Positioning Wright, Selena looks around at the masses, a cold glare in her eyes before she lifts Wright up and drops him through the table with a back body drop!

Sharper: “My god!”

Knots: “Geez!”

The audience is now silent as Selena pushes herself to her feet, shaking off any aches from the drop. Adjusting herself confidently, she glares down at the bloody form of Religious Wright amidst the debris of table.

Sharper: “I don’t…I don’t have words…”

Knots: “I do. Wright may just get to meet his ‘goddess’ and his ‘maker’ all in one day.”

Sharper: “Knots, the man could be seriously injured!”

Knots: “I know, I just… I don’t…”

Knots has no more words as the camera focuses back on Selena, the Snow Queen marching away from the scene as medics and officials rush down and past her to check on Wright. As she stops at the rampway, however, Selena gazes down at her hand, which has a bit of Wright’s blood on it. A wicked, cold smirk graces her features before she disappears behind the curtain, the medics are seen checking and working on Wright.

Sharper: “Asher, I hope you’re watching!”

The scene fades to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as David Striker is shown walking backstage, victorious after his previous match. He takes a few steps.

???: “Hey!”

Striker stops and turns as another newcomer, The Devil Incarnate, Kevin Hunter.

Hunter: “Nice match out there. Saw though that you seem to be looking at other things.”

Striker: “None of your business. Scouting other people.”

Hunter: “Yeah, well, see, that’s the thing. You need to really scale it down.”

Striker: “Oh?”

Hunter: “Because well, I just see a stepping stone.”

Hunter then cracks Striker with a hard right. Striker staggers and Hunter nails him again and again before Striker nails him with a couple of hard rights to the ribs in retaliation. The crowd roars as Hunter grabs Striker by the head.

Sharper: “Kevin Hunter just accosting David Striker!”

Knots: “Hey, it’s SCW. You want to make a difference. You take on anyone sharing your spotlight. Some new talent. Kevin Hunter wants the attention!”

Hunter tries to take Striker down, but Striker stays on his vertical base. They each throw a couple more body shots before officials come into the scene and start to break the two up.

Back in the main arena, “In the Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan plays as we see La Pequena Luz and Amelia Blythe walking to the ring, both in their street clothes. They head into the ring.

Sharper: “Folks, we were wondering when this situation may be resolved. We heard from CHBK about the World Title situation. Now it’s the World Tag Team Championship and in this, there’s a rematch involved.”

Knots: “So is he going to honour things there?”

Sharper: “Well we understand that all three teams that have been involved in this situation have been asked to come to the ring. The World Tag Team Champions obliging.”

Luz and Blythe enter the ring and walk around it. The crowd looks on as Luz and Blythe briefly play to the crowd. They then head over to a corner, settling in.

Sharper: “Little fanfare here. Then again, they’re awaiting to see who will be the one’s facing them.”

Blythe and Luz walk around a bit as their music fades out. The crowd cheers them a bit. A few moments pass before the opening riff to “Best of Both Worlds” by Van Halen begins to play. Glory Braddock and Brittany Lohan emerge from behind the curtain simultaneously. The fans cheer while Glory goes from one end of the stage to the other, playing to the crowd and getting them into it. Lohan, meanwhile, continues her march to the ring.

“Something reached out and touched me
Now I know all I want
I want the best of both worlds
And honey I know what it's worth
If we could have the best of both worlds
We'd have Heaven right here on Earth”

Braddock springs towards the ring, catching up with Lohan in time to slide in just barely ahead of her underneath the bottom rope. Lohan enters the ring the traditional way. Brittany remains stoic in the center of the ring while Glory again plays to the crowd, going to each of the four corners and raising her arms high in the air, drawing cheers from the fans. Braddock then rejoins Lohan in the center of the ring as the music dies down. They look at the World Tag Team Champions before stepping back and over to another corner.

Sharper: “Twisted & Sadistic hoping that Glory Braddock will have her opportunity. To become the World Tag Team Champion. To finally become a Supreme Champion.”

Knots: “At the same time, I have to ask – where’s CHBK?”

Sharper: “I don’t know if he is in Brooklyn. My understanding is he and Jessica Winters were in Toronto for that interview. So perhaps he’ll be joining us via satellite.”

There’s then a loud click as the lights around the building flick off and darkness consumes the arena, with nothing but a few flashes from cameras in the crowd lighting the arena. Without warning we see black and white footage spring to life on the screen of Winston Churchill giving one of his most famous speeches, all the while the chilling sound of air raid sirens and war can be heard in the background...

"We shall fight on the beaches. We shall fight on the landing grounds. We shall fight in the fields, and in the streets. We shall fight in the hills. We shall NEVER surrender!"

The video suddenly burns away to reveal a second hidden image of the devious ex-president George H. W. Bush giving a speech of his own...

"When we are successful, and we will be, we'll have a real chance at this new world order..."

A record scratch interrupts the normal Infamous introduction, only for the sound of Cute Is What We Aim For’s hit to begin around the arena.

“I’ve got the gift of one-liners,
And you’ve got the curse of curves”

The opening to “Misery Business” by Paramore suddenly hits the PA system as the spotlights on the stage flash between pink and white. Syren walks out from the back with Ravyn Taylor. Lexy Chapel walks out with them. Chapel keeps a hand out, stopping Syren from even moving towards Ravyn while also keeping an eye on Ravyn.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
Dark Fantasy

The trio head to the ring. They see Twisted & Sadistic and The Light in the Darkness in the ring. They reach the ring and Syren climbs up the steps and into the ring. Ravyn then follows as Lexy Chapel watches her. Chapel is last in. They step forward as Lexy Chapel goes across the ring to grab a microphone as Ravyn and Syren look at both Light in the Darkness and at Twisted & Sadistic. Glory just watches Dark Fantasy as Luz and Blythe remain across the ring. Chapel is handed a microphone. The music fades out and Chapel turns back.

Chapel: “Okay! Okay. We all know what this is. Finally, we’re going to find out who is getting the World Tag Team Championship shot against you two. And it’s wonderful and all. And Glory, Brittany, how great you two are, but sorry, last week, my client, Syren, she proved she was just a bit better. So this seems straight forward.”

Glory walks forward as Syren then steps up as Ravyn does too. Lohan steps up to Ravyn. Lexy steps back.

Chapel: “Whoa! Testy! Geez! It happened! Okay! I’m not lying! And I get it, you had a great 2023. But uh…former tag champs. And my dad, yeah, he’s my dad, he said it. Rematches matter.”

Glory and Brittany glare at Lexy as Luz and Blythe look on. We then see CHBK’s face come up on the big screen. The crowd cheers a bit seeing the SCW COO, Alex Desoubrais.

CHBK: “Lexy…you don’t need to antagonize them.”

Chapel: “Just helping you out since you couldn’t even bother to be here to announce this HUGE match.”

There’s a brief pause.

CHBK: “I’m sorry for that. But there is a lot of business to start the new year and it seems like again, I will be disappointing some, at least temporarily. Because while Lexy…is…well, Lexy…”

Chapel smiles.

CHBK: “In this case, she is right. As I announced earlier in the interview that played, I am going to take rematches seriously and in this case, the fact is that the situation is pretty academic. I’m sorry, Glory, Brittany, despite the amazing 2023 you had, last week’s match did play a role in confirming my decision.”

Glory shakes her head, clearly showing some anger.

CHBK: “With Dark Fantasy successful last week, and let’s face it, they actually had a match against Light in the Darkness where Ravyn didn’t cheat at Under Attack…”

Ravyn shrugs as Lexy Chapel glares at her. The crowd roars.

CHBK: “But they had a hell of a match. Why wouldn’t I run it back with the rematch for the World Tag Team Championship on the line? So at Body, Heart, and Soul, we will Dark Fantasy challenge Light in the Darkness in a rematch for the SCW World Tag Team Championship!”

The crowd roars.

Chapel: “Hell to the yes! You sometimes prove you love me! That’s right! And I for the record think you should superkick the doubters! All of them! Superkick them!”

Braddock yells at the screen as Brittany Lohan folds her arms unimpressed.

CHBK: “But…I’m not done.”

The crowd buzzes.

CHBK: “Because while Twisted and Sadistic were unsuccessful last week, one match is not going to disqualify them from being next in line. And so I want to give you certainty. Because Glory, I know how important this is.”

Glory can be openly seen mouthing “Yeah! No shit!”

CHBK: “So on the first Breakdown after Body, Heart, and Soul, whomever the champions are, they better get ready because Twisted & Sadistic will be challenging them on this program!”

The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Two huge nights for the Tag Division. Dark Fantasy challenges Light in the Darkness at Body, Heart, and Soul, while Twisted & Sadistic are right up the next Breakdown!”

Knots: “Can watch and get some good scouting!”

Braddock shakes her head. She points to Light in the Darkness before turning back.

Braddock: “We’ve beaten them! We beat them and now more hoops?! We-“

Before Braddock can continue, Ravyn suddenly runs up behind Braddock and nails her with a superkick. Brittany reacts, leading Syren to respond. Syren then turns and goes for one of her own, but Lohan steps forward and Syren catches her in the chest. The crowd ohs. Ravyn then looks at them as Luz and Amelia run up behind Syren and Ravyn. They spin them around and then stand face to face with them. Syren then starts to back down as Ravyn looks at Luz and Amelia. She then turns to Syren. Syren extends a hand to them. Luz looks at it as Ravyn then nods and extends one too.

Sharper: “Ravyn jumping Twisted & Sadistic! That set everything off. And now they’re shaking hands?”

Knots: “Syren stopping Ravyn as Ravyn…guess she couldn’t help herself!”

Braddock gets up as Ravyn continues to extend her arm before Lohan gets up and lunges and Ravyn drops down, causing Lohan to blast Amelia Blythe with the For Your Eyes Only. The crowd ohs. Braddock gets up as Ravyn rolls out of the ring. She backs up. Syren turns and goes to help Blythe, but Chapel grabs her and pushes her out of the ring. Braddock runs at Syren and kicks at her, but Syren and Chapel roll out of the ring. Braddock snaps at them as Lohan looks at Amelia. Luz checks on Blythe.

Sharper: “Ravyn ducked! Lohan took out Blythe!”

Knots: “And Glory was going to go after Syren! Lexy just saved Syren1”

Sharper: “And Ravyn Taylor put that all into motion. Look at Lexy! Lexy is looking at Ravyn!”

Knots: “And she has to refocus. Autumn Valentine is out next!”

Chapel looks at Ravyn as Ravyn now starts to head to Syren. Lohan turns and looks at Dark Fantasy briefly before turning back to Light in the Darkness. Glory keeps watching Syren and Ravyn as Ravyn starts to lead Syren away. Lexy keeps her hand on Syren as the scene cuts away.

Autumn Valentine vs. Kandis

A woman’s voice can be heard as the video screens display the words she's saying in unison.

"Lexy Chapel Proudly Presents"

"YOUR FUTURE ADRENALINE CHAMPION"

"AUTUMN VALENTINE"

“Miss Nothing” by The Pretty Reckless hits the PA system as Autumn Valentine walks out onto the stage wearing a black jacket. Across her ring-gear we see the ‘Lexy Chapel Presents’ and ‘Chapel Show’ branding. She pauses on the stage for a moment before being joined by Lexy Chapel, who runs out and starts pointing at her, and yelling at the fans to cheer for her. Around Lexy’s neck we see a lanyard which appears to be a manager’s license.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall for TV time remaining and is your main event of the evening. First, introducing, hailing from Los Angeles, California, accompanied, and PROUDLY represented, by Lexy Chapel, this is the Allocco Assassin, AUTUMN VALENTINE!”

Autumn walks to the ring accompanied by Lexy. She skips up to the apron and jumps up before sliding off her jacket and letting it fall to the floor. She then runs at the turnbuckles, climbing up and throwing up her arms before looking to the camera confidently. She jumps from the outside of the ropes to inside of the ring, rolling back to her feet before walking the middle of the ring and dropping down into the splits. Lexy walks behind her, pointing down at her and still trying to get the fans to support her. Lexy holds a hand down to pull Autumn back to her feet as Autumn walks to the corner, as the music fades out.

Sharper: “Autumn Valentine is just over a week away from challenging for the SCW Adrenaline Championship. Triple threat there, but she also was a recent challenger to the World Championship thanks to Kirsten Scott’s Trios Tournament cash-in.”

Knots: “And Kandis, we know is angry, so Autumn may be a preferred target now thanks to her getting a shot before her. Or maybe she’s just in the way!”

The opening of "Whore" by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

{I'm the girl you've been thinking about, The one thing you can't live without
I'm the girl you've been waiting for
I'll have you down on your knees, I'll have you begging for more}

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face as the crowd boos. She turns and shows off her notorious rear end, swaying it back and forth...

{I can be, I can be your eve... ry... thing}

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, then Kandis turns around, arms spread and feet wide apart as vocalist Maria Brink shouts:

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

Kandis starts down the ramp as the rest of the chorus continues, the sway in her hips ever present as she smirks at all the boos, even blowing sarcastic kisses to the crowd.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Santa Barbara California, she is Kandis!”

{I am the dirt you created
I am your sinner, I am your whore
But let me tell you something, baby
You love me for everything you hate me for}

Kandis goes up the ring steps and enters the ring through the second and top rope slowly, making sure to show off her ass. The heavy music fades out as Kandis goes to her corner.

Sharper: “Kandis will be looking over her shoulder too. Konrad Raab is still here.”

Knots: “And that’s just dangerous for everyone!”

Sharper: “I don’t know what to expect in this one. Anything is on the table.”

Kandis looks across as the bell sounds and Autumn steps out only for Kandis to run at her and drill her with a hard clothesline. The crowd ohs as Lexy looks on stunned. Kandis walks forward and turns around as Autumn starts to get up, more stunned from the shot. Kandis grabs her and drags her up only to run her over to the ropes, throwing her through. Autumn tries to stop herself, but hits the apron and drops down to the floor. (1) She rolls over. Lexy heads around the ring to check on her Allocco Assassin, but Kandis steps through the ropes. (2) She drops down.

Sharper: “Looks like Kandis is going to use Autumn to get some of her frustrations out.”

Knots: “Kandis is going to be the Autumn Asskicker!”

Kandis grabs Autumn and drags her up and runs her back first into the barricade. Autumn hits the barricade and drops to the mats. (1) Kandis walks over and stomps her in the chest once and then again and again. (2) Lexy yells at her to stop and Kandis turns around and storms towards her. Lexy steps up, before realizing Kandis isn’t backing down. (3) Lexy backs up and Kandis then drills her with a forearm shot. The crowd ohs as Lexy goes down. Kandis glares at her. (4) She turns back as Autumn runs at her and tackles her down, nailing her with repeated right hands. (5) The crowd looks on as Autumn gets several shots in.

Knots: “Kandis is also the Lexy Lip-stopper…”

Sharper: “Brilliant, Jon. Kandis just striking anyone who is pissing her off. And now Autumn hammering away. Just going right after Kandis!”

Knots: “This may be a short one! Count out, maybe?”

Sharper: “And Autumn may be dazed if not out.”

Knots: “Just needs to be dragged back into the ring. Kandis putting everything behind that kick.”

Sharper: “The question is who is she thinking about as she throws that kick.”

Autumn grabs at the ropes and Kandis walks over and grabs her and nails her with a hard right and then another and another. Kandis gets up as the referee calls for the break. Autumn rolls over in pain, holding her leg and gets up, stumbling forward only for Kandis to measure her and drill her with the Starmaker. The crowd ohs.

Lexy Chapel snaps at Adam Allocco before then backing up and looking around. She backs away as Adam just laughs only to turn around and juke out of the way as we see Konrad Raab walking out with a blowtorch and a flint. Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson walk out with him. Ginny Raab remains on the stage. Adam rolls off the rampway and ends up on the floor as Raab heads to the ring. Kandis looks at him and then leans forward, telling him to get to the ring. Raab just smiles as he picks up his pace.

Knots: “I told you he was planning something!”

Sharper: “The man has a blowtorch! Konrad Raab has a blowtorch!”

Raab reaches the ring and turns it on before striking the flint repeatedly and setting it alight. He just looks at Kandis, wide eyed and smiling.

Sharper: “It’s on fire! He’s lit it! Get help! Get security!”

Knots: “He’s not waiting for Body, Heart, and Soul!”

Raab then rolls into the ring. Kandis runs at him and stomps at him as the scene fades to black…
