A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

Trying to get back to who I used to be

Where is the old me?

Autumn Valentine hitting the Blindspot on a foe follows before we see a shot of Owen Lee and Daisy Lee on their way to the ring, and then a shot of Kimberly Williams licking a staple gun. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are in the Big Easy as Breakdown comes to you from New Orleans!”

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd. After a few moments, we cut to ringside where Adam Sharper, Simon Lyman and Jonathan Knots sit at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Simon Lyman and Jonathan Knots, as usual. And tonight, a huge main event. Syren faces James Evans!”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as a still of Syren vs. James Evans follows.

Knots: “They didn’t like each other in the past. James Evans wants to get past his past. Syren is going to bring the fight!”

Sharper: “Not only that, we will see the SCW Television Championship on the line when Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO challenges Polly Playtime.”

Lyman: “After YUYO may have prevented Cassie Wolfe from winning the title, YUYO will step up and try to end Polly Playtime’s reign.”

Sharper: “And of course, plenty more to talk about. We don’t know what is happening with the World Title. We know a woman came in and took it in a chaotic scene last week on this program. But Kim Williams won the Trios Tournament. She was here.”

Knots: “Or was it Marie?”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but between that, between the Trios Tournament ending last week. Adam Allocco, The One and Kimberly Williams now have a contract for any match they want.”

Lyman: “And they don’t need to work together anymore.”

Knots: “So is Adam going to cut to the front of the line? What about Kim? What ridiculousness will she come up with?”

The opening rifts to The Black Adam Theme kick in, as mist fills the entranceway. The music stops, a huge explosion rocks the entranceway and Owen jumps, seemingly through the floor and landing on his feet, dropping to one knee and punching the floor. Owen gets to his feet, and looks left and right at the reaction he is getting, a look of focus and determination on his face as he takes in the crowd.

Sharper: “And we kick things off in NOLA with the SCW World Champion on his way to the ring.”

Knots: “And for the second show in the row, without his title!”

With real intensity, he begins the walk down to the ring, slapping the hand of anyone who offers, a laser show accompanying him all the way to the bottom of the ramp before he then slides in and under the bottom rope, before standing in the middle of the ring his arms outstretched, beams of light focussing now on only him. Owen points to the turnbuckle and then runs towards it, bouncing on the middle ropes and back flipping backwards, landing on both feet. Owen pulls on the top rope a couple of time, applauding the fans as his music fades and he grabs a microphone waiting for him. He takes it and walks back over to the middle of the ring. He looks around the arena as the crowd buzzes.

Cruze: “Well, that was nice. Thank you for that reaction. I wish it was accompanied with me holding a Trios Tournament contract. I had some fun plans in mind…but they’ll have to wait. But what I hope I don’t need to wait more about is finding out when I’m holding my World Championship again.”

Cruze pauses.

Cruze: “Lexy Chapel had her little tirade and tantrum. I know that’s now over thanks to SCW. I also hope everyone is okay after the chaos that erupts in part because of that, but SCW has not handed me my title and while I’m not saying this to be a self-righteous asshole…it’s a bit friggin’ embarrassing that the World Champion isn’t holding his title.”

Cruze pauses again.

Cruze: “And I don’t blame SCW here. I blame myself in part. But I also focused on the Trios Tournament out of respect to Ravyn and Nicole. But that tournament is done and tonight, I’ve come with a simple mission. It has two parts. The first…to find out who I will be defending my title against at Body, Heart, and Soul. I’ve heard for weeks about how many people are getting in line. I can rattle off the names. Kimberly Williams is the number one contender, but may that turn to Adam Allocco now that Xander isn’t holding the title. Is Xander going to be back in line? Does Syren want a shot now that she’s back? Kandis already claimed hers saying she should be shoved to the front…even mentioning our match last year…and let’s not forget Asher Hayes, or how Hairless Penguin stepped up or even the threats made by Selena Frost and that’s just me getting started!”

Cruze looks at the main camera.

Cruze: “Throw someone in front of me. I may not hold the title at this moment, but I am on top of the world. I’ve overcome the hump. I won my first defense, and I will take on the whole WORLD!”

Cruze then steps back and turns to the entrance way.

Cruze: “But I’m not going to stand here without my title for that much longer. Because I have no other distractions except for the World Championship and I am not going to come out here a third week without my title because some people-“

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play. A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Owen Cruze turns to the stage. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. Of note though, she is holding the SCW World Championship. Her Underground Championship is around her waist. The World Championship, however, is not over her shoulder. She’s holding it in her hand, displaying it. She looks at the ring as Cruze turns his head, a bit confused.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams coming out and that’s the World Title.”

Knots: “We all thought it. So she wasn’t here?”

Lyman: “Don’t start with this again. Clearly Marie was in Toronto-“

Sharper: “Was she? Was she here?”

She starts to walk to the ring. Cruze just watches her as Kimberly Williams reaches the ring. She looks up and keeps an eye on Cruze, smirking a bit, before walking around the ring. She then goes over to the timekeeper where Jason Phillips is and is handed a microphone. Kim turns to the ring.

Williams: “Owen…just hold it…nothing fishy here.”

Williams stops and even chuckles.

Williams: “I’m going to be serious for a moment. I know…big ask, but I’m trying really, REALLY hard. But I have a Trios contract and there I’m getting CHAOTIC…but this…”

Williams stops and looks down at the World Championship.

Williams: “This…”

Williams walks up the steel steps and then steps along the apron. She steps into the ring. Cruze steps forward and looks at her.

Williams: “This is yours.”

Williams shrugs.

Williams: “I could tell you how I got it but I’d have to kill you.”

Williams smirks.

Williams: “Okay, I won’t.”

Williams sighs.

Williams: “But I got you this!”

Williams extends the World Championship. Cruze looks at her.

Williams: “Take it. There’s a reason I didn’t wear it. I haven’t won it…yet.”

Williams winks. Owen looks at it and then slowly takes it. He looks at it and then places it over his shoulder.

Sharper: “Now there’s a visual we needed to see again. Cruze holding his World Championship.”

Knots: “Kim got it for him?”

Williams: “But I didn’t wear it…and I got it back for you. My way…Because no matter what people think or say or assume…I do give a damn about that title and what it represents.”

Williams then steps up.

Williams: “So Owen…show me what it represents to you when we face at Body, Heart, and Soul!”

Williams steps back and smiles, winks, and then turns around and underhand throws the microphone back at Phillips. Phillips catches it as Kim then turns and waves at Owen before rolling out of the ring. Kim then walks around the ring. Her music starts to play as Owen Cruze turns and watches her walk around.

Sharper: “Owen getting the answers to both of his questions/demands. And Kimberly Williams providing both.”

Lyman: “I don’t think any of us saw that.”

Sharper: “As serious as we’ve seen her. Handing the title back to Owen.”

Knots: “But that can’t be it. She’s got a Trios contract. She’s the Underground Championship. She wanted to bring that style…”

Sharper: “I don’t know if that was mind games. That was as direct as we’ve seen her. But what matters…she is the number one contender and Owen Cruze has possession of his World Title again!”

Kimberly Williams starts to head to the back as Owen Cruze looks down at his World Championship again before looking up at Kim and nodding, almost in appreciation.

Backstage, the scene cuts to one of the monitors in the back where Kandis is watching. She just shakes her head.

Kandis: “So, Kim…well…we’ll see about that.”

Kandis turns and goes to walk off, but stops. She then looks forward, unimpressed, and then scoffs.

Kandis: “What do you want?”

The camera pans back to show Jenni Anderson standing across from her. Jenni Anderson smiles as she holds a manila envelope in her hand.

Jenni: “Oh I think you’ll want to talk to me for a moment.”

Kandis: “And why the hell would I want to do that. Going to throw money at me. I just won a quarter of a million and my husband is loaded. There’s only one thing I want and you can’t help me there.”

Jenni: “Well, not yet…but I can give you something that may help.”

Jenni extends the envelope to her.

Kandis: “The hell is this?”

Jenni: “Information I get given what I’m involved in. You’re welcome.”

Kandis takes the envelope as Jenni Anderson turns and walks off. Kandis turns and looks at the envelope before ripping it open. She then pulls out some of the papers inside and looks at them, the camera unable to get a shot of them. Kandis then flips through them and scoffs.

Kandis: “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Kandis then turns and storms off.

Sharper: “What did Jenni give her?”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Owen Cruze walks backstage, the SCW World Championship over his shoulder as Adam Allocco then walks over to him. The crowd roars seeing him as Adam smirks. Owen takes a few steps and nods. He then extends his arms.

Cruze: “What do you want Adam/”

Allocco: “Well, now that you’re actually holding your title, now it’s easier to find. How does it feel to now hold it since you were playing champion for the last two weeks?”

Cruze: “Glad it’s where it needs to be. So is this the point where you talk about your shot? You have a Trios.”

Allocco: “Oh, I know. And trust me, I love that I have it. But frankly, Owen…part of me wants to watch you struggle and if Kim is up against you, I’ve spent the last couple of weeks with her. I’ve had some run-ins with her that you could even dream of and frankly, however she got the title, oh…I’m going to enjoy watching you struggling against her.”

Cruze: “How great. Just gloating.”

Allocco: “Always fun to do against a Cruze.”

Cruze: “Hmmm…well, I’ve held this title about as long as you did. The difference…I got through my first defense. And after everything, you can enjoy me struggle…but how much longer do you think it will be until people finally start to dig around in whatever Xander Valentine is saying about you. What did you do to Alistaire?”

Allocco: “Nothing!”

Allocco pauses briefly.

Allocco: “Nothing that serious. Xander probably heard something on a dirt sheet and he’s never liked me even though I launched his career.”

Cruze looks at Allocco and nods.

Cruze: “We’ll see then. Nothing to worry about.”

Cruze then walks past Allocco as Allocco glances back at him before then trying to regain his confidence as Breakdown cuts to the ring.

Kelsai Adamson vs. Nate Krelle

“Happy Song” by Bring Me the Horizon fills the arena. That heavy metal guitar gearing up the crowd. Nate appears from the curtain wearing a leather jacket and shades. He pours water over his head as he walks cockily towards the ramp. He takes a drink of the water and spits it out throwing the bottle into the crowd.

He then holds out his arms wide and tells the camera that he's the best damn pro wrestler on the planet. Still with his arms out wide he walks towards the ring. He climbs up on the apron and turns around to face the crowd. He has a cocky net confident smirk on his face. He then climbs into the ring and walks around the ring arms back out wide spouting off random sentences towards the crowd. He then climbs the turnbuckle, gives a crotch chop and jumps back down into the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Newcastle, UK…he is…The Anti-Trend…Nate Krelle!”

The familiar riffs of Nickelback's "Savin Me" begins and soon Kelsai Adamson appears at the top of stage. It has been a while since she has been here, and a lot has changed (including her last name!) for the first and now former GCW Unified World Champion. As she walks down the aisle toward the ring she soaks in the mixed reaction from the crowd as some remember what was when she was one of the more popular wrestlers in the world while in SCW, but still many others can't forget the hated villain that she became in GCW. Getting into the ring, a smile starts to form on her lips as she looks around at the crowd and she remembers what it is like to be back in SCW.

Phillips: “And his opponent, from New Orleans, Louisiana…she is…Kelsai Adamson!”

The cameras show both Kelsai and Kate standing in their respective corners. The ref looks at both then calls for the bell. Both step out of their corners before circling the ring. Kelsai lunges forward and Nate meets her in the center of the ring, locking up in a tie-up.  Nate quickly pulls Kelsai into a side headlock.

Sharper: “The returning Kelsai Adamson taking on Nate Krelle. Going for a tie-up with Nate quickly overpowering her.’

Knots: “Definitely wasn’t the smartest play, but we can see where it goes.”

Simon: “Kelsai is a former GCW Champion. She knows what happens inside the squared circle. It’s easy to find yourself in trouble. It’s all about whether you get out of it or not.”

Knots: “Let’s go with that.”

Kelsai tries to escape, but Nate buckles down on his weight, applying more pressure. Kelsai then manages to punch Nate in the back. Nate’s grip appears to loosen for a brief moment, before he buckles down again. Kelsai lands another shot to the back, followed by a third, causing Nate to break the hold. Nate stumbles forward and Kelsai charges only for Nate to turn and take her down with a clothesline. He goes for the cover.

1!

Kelsai kicks out! Nate gets to his feet and pulls Kelsai up. He whips her across the ring. Kelsai bounces off the ropes. Nate goes for another clothesline, but Kelsai dunks under. Nate turns as does Kelsai and she connects with a roundhouse kick. Nate staggers and Kelsai leaps up, connecting with a standing dropkick. Nate hits the mat, and Kelsai goes for a cover of her own.

1!

Nate shoots the shoulder up.

Sharper: “Nate was in control, but Kelsai turned it around.”

Simon: “Nate definitely has the size advantage, but Kelsai showing her quickness and she was able to take him off his feet.”

Knots: “Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. Can she keep it up? Nate, with his size, can turn the tide just as quick.”

Nate gets to his feet and Kelsai meets him, before beginning to deliver forearms. Nate shoves her back, before kicking her in the abdomen.

Knots: “What did I say?”

Nate grabs Kelsai before driving her to the mat with a snap suplex. Nate gets to his feet and pulls Kelsai up, before hooking her and hitting a short arm lariat. Nate maintains his grip before pulling Kelsai into a running knee. Kelsai drops to the mat and Nate hooks the leg.

1!

2!

Kelsai kicks out.

Sharper: “Nate taking control with that offensive flurry. Still only to get a two count.”

Nate pulls Kelsai to her feet. Kelsai stands dazed as Nate takes a few steps back. He is shown smirking before going for a super kick, only for Kelsai to dodge it. Nate stumbles forward before spinning around and Kelsai connects with a dropkick to the left knee.

Simon: “Kelsai taking Nate out with that dropkick to the knee.”

Nate is shown grabbing at his knee as he slowly pulls himself up using the ropes. Kelsai clubs him in the back then spins Nate around, hooking him and planting him with a snap DDT. Nate hits the mat and rolls away, grabbing at his head then at his knee once again.

Sharper: “Nate favoring that left knee.”

Knots: “Has time away from SCW caused Kelsai to become reckless?”

Kelsai is shown getting onto the top rope. She points to the crowd who cheers loudly before she leaps off the top rope and connects with a frog-splash!”

Simon: “Bombs Away!”

Kelsai hooks the leg.

1!

2!

3!

The ref calls for the bell as Roberts speaks: “Here is your winner by pinfall, Kelsai! Adamson!”

Kelsai gets to her feet as the crowd cheers. Nate is shown holding his knee once again, as the ref is shown checking on him, before motioning toward the back. Kelsai is shown celebrating just a little bit more before the cameras cut away.

Backstage, we open up to see Hairless Penguin and Dancing Bear in their locker room when the door bursts open and Lexy Chapel storms in, holding a suit bag.

Chapel: “Okay, Penguin! We’re going to make you a champion. You want to be a champion. I’m going to meet you half way. Now, you got to look the part-“

Penguin: “Ah…don’t I? I mean, I’m a wrestler-“

Chapel: “No! You’re a wrestler, not a champion. And if I got one thing from my father is that you have to look the part. So I got you this. I guess your size. Hopefully it fits. If not…well….we’ll make it work.”

Penguin takes it.

Bear: “Good to see you’re back. You can keep Penguin focused here!”

Chapel: “Why I’m doing this? Maybe there is an opportunity here. People love Penguin and we could have the first flightless bird as World Champion!”

Penguin: “Oh…yeah…but won’t your actions the last few weeks be a problem-“

Chapel: “Don’t worry about that. Water under the bridge!”

Bear: “Wooo, Lexy!”

Penguin: “Wait, no punishment?”

Chapel: “Just going to the top.”

Penguin: “In part your dad’s house was on fire because you were there-“

Chapel: “And I made the point that that person is the number one contender. And apparently, the buzz was worth it. MARKETING GODDESS RIGHT HERE!”

Penguin: “Really?”

Chapel: “Come on! Get ready, champ!”

Bear: “Yeah, champ!”

Chapel: “And you work on the Cocaine Bear! We’re getting ALL the gold. Remember…Manager of Champions. So let’s do it!”

Chapel claps as if to get them in motion as Penguin looks at the suit bag and throws it down as the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

The scene opens up to show a new state-of-the-art centre. Notably, all of the shots of still, clearly of stock photos.

Holly: “Sometimes you need to think big. Sometimes you need to build it…and they will come. These are cliches for a reason.”

We then see a shot of Holly Adams superimposed on these images, complete with a green screen outline from poor editing, as Holly is on a beach chair, that’s also been edited it out, so it looks like she’s floating.

Holly: “We don’t like cliches in the Holly Adams Brand. We help you become the first you. Something new. Something exciting. And we’re going to do it at our brand new Holly Adams Brain Management, Spa, and Renovation Station, once the funding goes through.”

Holly winks.

Holly: “We’re working on it. Unlike some. But we can help with that. We may have taken a few weeks off for our Christma-Holiday season. But we are ready to serve you and help you become a better person. The Holly Adams Brand will be behind you…soon.”

Holly smiles and reaches to the side, her arm disappearing for a moment, before reappearing with a glass of water. She takes a sip. The image fades out to opaque, showing the Holly Adams Brand logo.

“The Holly Adams Brand…follow us on Mastodon and Myspace.”

The scene fades to black.

Crystal Zdunich in action

Jason Phillips stands in the middle of the ring with a microphone. A woman in a generic white top with matching tights stands in the corner.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a ten minute time limit. Introducing first, from Lake Charles, Louisiana, she is Becky White!”

White steps forward and gives a wave to the crowd, receiving a mild applause in return.

Sharper: “Local talent here, making the three hour drive to New Orleans to compete here on Breakdown.”

Lyman: “Not heard much of Becky White, but here she is with an opportunity to make everyone remember the name.”

Knots: “Either by impressing everyone here or failing miserably! We’ll see how she does.”

The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal Zdunich’s voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.

“YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!”

As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros. “Smile Bomb” by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red-haired “Burning Rose” Crystal Zdunich walks from the curtains. Crystal is focused as she walks to the ring with a purpose.

Phillips: “And her opponent, from Los Angeles, California, she is The Burning Rose, Crystal Zdunich!”

Knots: “And here’s a familiar face!”

Sharper: “One we haven’t seen in quite awhile. Crystal Zdunich making her return to SCW here to start off 2023! Welcome back, Crystal!”

Crystal slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way. She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside she kips up to her feet. She tosses her Shoto inspired hoodie into the crowd as she goes to the corner opposite of White while her music fades. The bell sounds. White charges the corner. Crystal reacts quickly and puts her boot up. She catches White in the face. White stumbles back. Crystal swiftly hops to the top rope and turns towards White. She leaps off the top rope and crashes down onto White with a meteora! The crowd roars as Crystal reaches back and hooks a leg for the pin.

1!

2!

White pushes Crystal off and rolls out of the ring. She looks up at Crystal, holding her jaw. Crystal smirks and nods as she rises back to her feet.

Sharper: “Oh, and Becky White, coming out quick, trying to catch Zdunich off-guard!”

Lyman: “Came back to bite her, but you see there, Crystal respects the aggressive approach. She came right back with it.”

White steps up to the apron. Crystal runs at her and swings. White ducks then grabs Crystal to guillotine her. The crowd ohs as White lands on the outside while Crystal falls back. White drags Crystal outside of the ring and lets her fall to the mats. She stomps at her. (1) Crystal tries to roll away while White stays on her with the kicks. Crystal rolls into the barricade. White takes a step back. (2) White rushes Crystal, but Crystal dodges at the last second. White plows into the barricade. Crystal gets back to her feet. (3) She peels White off the barricade and whips her into the apron. White hits hard. Crystal grabs her and throws her into the ring. She slides in after her and goes for the lateral press.

1!

White kicks out and rolls into the corner. Crystal follows after her. Crystal gets to the corner and White reaches up, pulling Crystal face first into the middle turnbuckle. Crystal stays on her knees, covering her face. White gets up and gets behind Crystal. She picks her up and hooks her waist before rolling back into an O’Connor roll.

1!

Crystal pushes White off. White falls into the ropes.

Sharper: “Local putting up a fight here.”

Knots: “And Crystal maybe showing some ring rust!”

Crystal starts to get up. White reacts quickly, heading over towards her. White reaches down and grabs Crystal. She whips her into the ropes. White bends down for a backdrop, but Crystal rolls over her for a sunset flip.

1!

White breaks free. Crystal gets to her feet first and hits the ropes again. White gets up, only for Crystal to leap at her and twist around her before hooking her head and planting her with a tilt-a-whirl DDT! The crowd oohs. Crystal springs up on impact, bouncing into the corner. She handsprings out of the corner and turns before jumping up and falling down onto White with a moonsault.

Sharper: “Smell the Roses! That handspring standing moonsault!”

Lyman: “And into the cover.”

Crystal stays on her for the pin.

1!

2!

White just barely kicks out. Crystal looks up at the official, who flashes two fingers.

Sharper: “Nearfall there, but Zdunich shedding off some of the ring rust you mentioned, Jon.”

Knots: “Not getting the job done yet, though.”

Crystal gets back to her feet, bringing White with her. She turns her back to White and hooks her head.

Sharper: “Maybe going for Flame On!”

Crystal goes to jump up, but White pushes her away.

Lyman: “But countered.”

Crystal hits the ropes and rebounds back into White, who rolls her up with a schoolboy.

1!

2!

Crystal breaks free and rolls back up to her feet. White gets up and runs at Crystal. She goes for a clothesline. Crystal ducks. White runs through and hits the ropes. She runs at Crystal and grabs her, using her momentum to whip Crystal into the ropes. Crystal rebounds. White once again doubles over for a backdrop. Crystal stops and kicks her, sending her back to a vertical base. She turns and hooks White’s head before leaping up and over, driving her knees into White’s back on the way down for the Flame On! The crowd roars as White falls to the mat next to Crystal.

Sharper: “Oh, and there it is! Flame On!”

Lyman: “That stunning Asai DDT into the backstabber, a premium example of what Crystal Zdunich is capable of!”

Knots: “Okay, maybe the rust is off.”

Crystal rolls over and onto White, hooking her far leg for the cover.

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds. “Smile Bomb” plays as Crystal rolls off of White.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Crystal Zdunich!”

Crystal gets to her feet. The official grabs her arm and raises it in victory. Crystal smiles and nods while lifting up her other arm to wave to the cheering crowd.

Sharper: “A successful return for Crystal Zdunich!”

Lyman: “In her video message to the fans before this match, she mentioned that her heart hadn’t been it these last several months. She wanted her return here tonight to not just be her getting back to basics, but to be the start of something amazing. She’s certainly capable of that. We’ll see if she can make good on her promise.”

The official lets Crystal’s arm go as they go and check on White on the mat. Crystal looks around and nods.

Owen Cruze is backstage talking to someone when suddenly, his phone goes off.

Cruze: “Sorry. Let me…”

Cruze looks at his phone and is confused.

Cruze: “I should take this.”

Cruze turns and walks over and answers the phone.

Cruze: “Hello?”

Cruze continues to look confused.

Cruze: “How did you get my number?...I know…just, I’m not sure why you’re calling. This is quite odd, Mr. D.”

Cruze sighs.

Cruze: “Well I wasn’t concerned about Kandis or Adam or the Kim situation. I more just am hoping I’ll know for certain who I’m facing.”

Cruze pauses.

Cruze: “So Kim…for sure. What about last week? That was…I see. You can’t tell the difference and the buzz…so the Board, I see. And Lexy?”

Cruze nods.

Cruze: “I’m…”

Cruze pauses, catching himself.

Cruze: “Well thank you for clarifying it. I guess if there’s more you need….I appreciate that. Guess things are different for me as champion this time then…Thanks…”

Owen hangs up. He looks confused.

Sharper: “Mr. D called Owen Cruze?”

Knots: “You heard him. Kim confirmed? But there’s more…”

Sharper: “Things interesting to say the least.”

The scene fades to black.

The opening of "Whore" by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

{I'm the girl you've been thinking about, The one thing you can't live without
I'm the girl you've been waiting for
I'll have you down on your knees, I'll have you begging for more}

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face as the crowd boos. She doesn’t do her usual posing. Instead, still carrying the envelope she was given, she walks down to the ring with purpose.

{I can be, I can be your eve... ry... thing}

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, continuing the usual entrance, not reaching to Kandis who continues to walk down to the ring.

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

She reaches the ring and walks around it. She storms over to Jason Phillips and starts to demand a microphone.

Sharper: “Kandis not scheduled to joining us out here, but seems like whatever she got, she’s not pleased.”

Lyman: “Kandis wants the World Title shot she had before and clearly, that’s permeated into a whole new attitude. She wants what she says she deserves.”

Phillips hands her one, only for Kandis to rip it out of his hand. She turns to enter the ring, but then stops. She turns to the announce table.

Kandis: “Cut the music!”

The crowd boos as the music fades out. Kandis goes over to Lyman, Knots and Sharper.

Kandis: “You know what, I’m not even going to start in that ring yet. I want someone else to confirm what I just was given. You…”

Kandis hands the envelope and its papers to Simon Lyman.

Kandis: “You! Read it. Take a look at it.”

Knots: “Yeah, Simon. You can read, right?”

Sharper: “What’s it say?”

Kandis looks around, pacing a bit. Simon looks at the papers, pulling out one and then placing it down. We see “End of the Year Title Shot” at the top. Kandis looks around and then turns back.

Kandis: “What does it say?”

Simon Lyman looks at them and looks up.

Lyman: “What? Your name?”

Kandis turns back to him and leans on the table.

Kandis: “Damn right, my name! I wasn’t on the God damned list and if these jackasses here would’ve let me come back when I WAS READY…I could’ve had my shot and we’d not have the insult of Owen Cruze as our champion with Lexy “I’d suffocate if I didn’t suck in air when I spoke” Chapel’s ridiculousness. We’d not have a damn cartoon character as a challenger and we’d have someone who isn’t a box of fruit loops as the number one contender.”

Lyman: “But this is just a few write in-“

Kandis: “Speak into the microphone Lyman.”

Lyman sighs and Kandis extends the microphone.

Lyman: “This is some write-in votes-“

Kandis: “And what percentage?”

Lyman looks down.

Lyman: “Seven percent-“

Kandis: “Seven percent. When I wasn’t even on the list. Even Penguin only got twenty. And yet, we had to go through all of that. When I was fine in October. I should’ve been cleared in October, but I had to waste my time jumping through hoops for another few weeks and missed this.”

Lyman then responds.

Lyman: “But how do you know these are legit? Jenni gave you these.”

Kandis: “I’ll let someone else figure that out. The watermark is good enough for me. Just confirmed what I’ve always said-“

Lyman: “But-“

Kandis then piefaces Lyman down, causing his chair to tip back and Lyman to fall back too.

Kandis: “You’re done. A star is talking here!”

Kandis turns and walks over to the steel steps. She then climbs up onto the apron. A faint “Lyman!” chant begins as Lyman winces, slowly getting up, touching his face. Kandis enters the ring.

Sharper: “You okay?”

Kandis then stops on the apron and glances back.

Kandis: “Who should be champion is standing here? Even the fans wanted it. They wanted Thirsty Thursday to have a championship dimension and frankly, you know what. I said it last week. I don’t need Asher Hayes to interrupt me and think he should cut in line. I have a solution.”

Kandis steps into the ring.

Kandis: “Kimberly Williams said she’s next. Number one contender. I get it. You earned it…in a fu[bleep]ing birthday party. Yeah…real legit. So, how about this…we make it legit by coming out here and I’ll kick your ass to get right to the front of the line.”

The crowd roars.

Kandis: “You said you care so much about the title?!”

Sharper: “Kim did win a battle royal. An over the top battle royal, last eliminating Selena Frost to earn the shot!”

Kandis: “Well then let’s make it so you have to go through fire to get it. Just like I have…just a different kind of fire. Working my ass to rehab to get back to this point. So, Kim…come on out. I’ll even make it an Underground rules match just to get you out here. Because damn it, Kim, you may be crazy, but you’re not driven like me!”

The crowd roars as Kandis looks at the stage. She then motions for Kim to come to the ring. Kandis smirks as she continues to look to the back.

Kandis: “Come on Kim. I’m giving you a fight. You like fights, don’t you?!”

Kandis takes off her leather jacket and throws it down before motioning again before suddenly the arena lights shutter off. A single beam of golden light is cast down onto the center of the stage, accompanied by a loud bass rumbling from the sound system. A light snowfall of sliver confetti falls within the pillar of light. The rough guitar chords of 'Wired' by JJ Wilder strike the sound system. Adam steps out, head hung low, into the light. He slowly looks up, a blinding flash of light accompanies him dropping down onto his knee. He raises his arms, almost as if he's calling out to God. He then gets up and smirks as Kandis just rolls her eyes. Adam steps up, microphone in his hand.

Kandis: “Hey, vapid dumbass. I didn’t ask for you.”

Allocco: “But here I am, Kandis. And well, I’m here for a few reasons.”

Kandis: “I don’t care-“

Allocco: “Oh I think you will.”

We cut backstage to see Kimberly Williams in the hallway, Angelica Jones stopping her.

Kim: “Come on. Just a bit. I’ll just-“

Kim makes a motion of a chop to the throat.

Angelica: “No. She’s baiting you. You showed you’re focused on the title. Focus on Owen.”

Kim: “I am…blood sacrifice!”

Angelica: “Kim!”

Kim turns away, frustrated by Angelica’s guidance. Back at the stage, Allocco has been talking, part of what he’s said spoken over the backstage scene.

Allocco: “See, Kandis, I’m here to help you. I’ve been around a lot. And we’ve had moments where I’m sure we came close to make some sort of unholy agreement where you’d make noises Tommy would never hear you make, and I’d smile as you said you’re welcome-“

Kandis: “You wish.”

Allocco: “But I’m here to tell that you’re making a mistake.”

Kandis: “No, that’s what you specialize in.”

Allocco: “Take it from me, Kandis. Things have changed since you went down with a bad tire. Because I’m on top of the world and well…you don’t want to go through all of your energy by having Kim probably damn near kill you, to having to face Owen Cruze, for as annoying as the son of a bitch is, he’ll run around and you’ll have to catch him and you’ll be so out of breath that when I cash in my Trios Tournament shot for Retribution, I won’t even have to try to beat you for the World Title.”

The crowd roars as Allocco looks at the ring and smiles.

Allocco: “And yes, Kandis, there are two things even you can pick up from that – one, you have no chance of convincing me to give up my contract to help you, just in case you thought so, and two…I’m cashing in for Retribution. I’m not waiting. And I’m not going to lose.”

Allocco shrugs as Kandis glares at him.

Allocco: “Now, Kandis, when I was last around and you were last around, I was a mess of a man. Yes, I’m still the same asshole I always was, but I’m doing a lot better in other places thanks to a much needed wake-up call. And while Xander Valentine can have his hard-on for making me pay for something…something that doesn’t mean anything to anyone else in SCW. Something that shouldn’t stop me from getting back to the top, where I was and outside of two blips, I’ve remained! And Kandis…you want the World Title. To come back, force your way in at Body, Heart, and Soul…just to lose to me?”

Allocco smirks.

Allocco: “That sounds like something you’d laugh at the men you’re with. Blowing your shot too quick.”

Kandis: “You couldn’t handle me if you tried.”

Allocco: “I’d take that bet. But trust me, I know Kim REALLY well now. We bonded with Trios. And if she’s not out here, it’s because Angelica is saving your ass. Take the mercy and wait your turn. Kick Asher’s ass again. Shove Simon down again. He’s nearly home. He’ll have help to get back up there. But this isn’t last year when you got some people’s attention and got lucky by being at the right place, at the right time. The REAL Champions have shown up and one is taking back what was his to continue the greatest run in wrestling history. And you’re not part of that story!”

Allocco shrugs.

Allocco: “So, be a good girl and wait in line!”

Allocco turns and holds his hand up, flipping Kandis off. Kandis just glares at him as Allocco’s music plays throughout the arena.

Sharper: “Allocco crudely telling off Kandis.”

Knots: “He did say he was still an asshole.”

Sharper: “You okay Simon?’

Lyman: “I’ll be fine.”

Kandis watches as Allocco returns to the back.

Backstage, Chance Owens is shown backstage in his locker room. The door opens as Josh Hudson walks into the room. Owens looks up and takes a deep breath before standing up. Hudson walks over to him.

Owens: “I know what this is about.”

Hudson: “Do you? Good…”

Owens: “I took the pin. I get it. Amelia, Glory, you…Want to take me out here?”

Hudson: “No…I’m not like Amelia and Glory. At least not anymore. In the past, maybe. No, now…I’m going to make sure you think about it. Because well, I will get my hands on you in the ring. But don’t worry. I won’t destroy you. I’ve thought about it. You could be something. I’ll just turn you into a puddle of nothingness so you can maybe get better and last week doesn’t happen again.”

Hudson pats Owens hard on the back. Owens doesn’t back down.

Hudson: “But look out for Stone and Braddock. They won’t do it your face. Plus…I have other things to deal with. Other problems…the US Title will be on the line next week and I’m not letting her win it. But after…we’ll see, Owens. We’ll see.”

Owens pats him on the back again. Chance Owens looks at Hudson as Hudson turns and leaves the locker room.

Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO vs. Polly Playtime

SCW Television Championship

The arena darkens before:

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan

The Nyan cat appears on the screen, with the crowd popping. The cat in a poptart, farting rainbows steers around and breaks right into the screen, showing a window crack before breaking. At that moment, “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL’s opening riffs plays, and the girls' voice count:

One-Two
One-Two-Three-Four!

Out pops YUYO from behind the curtains. Bright white light now shines down on the stage, following YUYO. Mister Meowkazawa and Beezlebubble follow her to stand behind her. She stands at the top of the ramp and places her hands on her hips. Meowkazawa hands her the magical staff, Gríðarvölr. She spins the staff around with a display of talent, the long purple and white ribbons attached to the staff’s end flash. When she stops, she thrusts one hand forward while holding the staff behind her back.

YUYO: “HA!”

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, descending from the sea of stars above, weighing at 110 pounds, the Guardian of Love, Justice and Peace— Magical Cosmic Princess, YUYO!”

YUYO springs down the ramp, staff in hand, she tosses it into the ring as she slides in under the bottom rope. She pops to her feet, picks up the staff again in a single stride, and then straight to the corner. She holds the staff like a gun and aims towards the ceiling, “BANG! BANG!”. Mr. Meowkazawa catches up to her, taking the staff while she remains in the corner. She points to the sky, “FOREVER!”. She runs to the next corner and repeats, “FOREVER!”. She hops off the corner with a superhero landing! She then puts on a “mean” face as she readies for the match.

Sharper: “Last week YUYO came out to help her fellow princess, the Rebel Princess Cassie Wolfe by supporting her, but instead in the chaos, arguably helped Polly Playtime. Now YUYO is going to try to win the title herself.”

Knots: “She says she’s going to stand up for Wolfe. Wolfe doesn’t seem to thrilled. But then again, YUYO is YUYO and she’s going to YUYO!”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on SCW’s Jumbotron.  A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play.

The music plays for quite some time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Polly Playtime emerges from the backstage area wearing a frilly pink skirt and a very cute and fashionable strapless crop top that has black paw prints on it. She is carrying a personally made microphone, clearly wanting to make the world wait to see her. The SCW Television Championship is around her waist. Colleen and Aisling flank her from behind and follow her down. The crowd boos as they arrive down at the ringside area. Polly walks up the steel steps and into the ring. She hands over her personalized microphone to Jason Phillips and tells him to announce her using ONLY that microphone. He looks at her and just shrugs before taking it.

Jason Phillips: “Here she is ladies and gentlemen.  From Panguitch, Utah, the SCW Television Champion, she is the girl that just LOVES to play… Polly Playtiiiiime!”

She immediately snatches her microphone back away from him and nods, telling him “Good job”, before she heads to her assigned corner. It’s here that she begins to warm up for the upcoming matchup. She hands off her title to the official, Steve Hollinsworth, as Colleen takes her microphone and Aisling stands with her.

Sharper: “Playtime looking to make her second successful defense of the Television Championship.”

Lyman: “She better be ready for a very different match. Wolfe may have been young but we’ve seen her stun. YUYO is a different wrestler altogether.”

Knots: “Come on! They’re both princesses!”

The bell sounds as YUYO points to Polly. She then runs at her. Polly ducks as YUYO misses a clothesline. She bounces off the ropes and Polly hip tosses her down. YUYO rolls over and gets up and Polly steps up and kicks her in the ribs and wrenches her arm. YUYO winces and rolls forward and bridges up. She then flips forward and Polly kicks her in the ribs again and snapmares her over and goes for the pin.

YUYO kicks out. Both get up and Polly goes for a forearm. YUYO ducks and spins around and licks her hand before chopping Polly in the chest. Polly falls to the ropes. YUYO points and then chops her again. The crowd woos. YUYO grabs her and whips her across the ring. Polly bounces off and YUYO drops down. Polly hops over and YUYO gets up and goes for a clothesline, but Polly jumps up, grabbing the arm and moves into a crucifix into a pin.

1!

2!

YUYO kicks out.

Sharper: “YUYO may be flashy, but right now, she’s being a bit too predictable.”

Lyman: “And Polly who has gained in confidence taking advantage early.”

Polly turns and YUYO gets up. Polly kicks her in the chest and then again. YUYO blocks with a couple of shots before Polly drags her up and pushes her to the ropes. She goes to whip YUYO across. YUYO bounces off and Polly lifts her up for a back drop. YUYO spins through and lands behind her. Polly turns and YUYO just blasts her with a hard right.

YUYO: “YUYO!”

The crowd roars as Polly gets up and YUYO runs at her and hits a lunging clothesline. Polly rolls over and YUYO turns and moves her head between her legs while she kneels and clubs her repeatedly in the back. Polly fights a bit before pushing out and rolling over. YUYO gets up as Polly starts to get up. YUYO then runs at her and hits a lunging double knee to the face, riding her down. She stays on her.

Polly counters with a sunset flip.

YUYO kicks out and rolls over. She gets up as Polly gets up and grabs her and pushes her into the corner. She then pulls her out from the corner and into an Okana roll.

Sharper: “YUYO using her agility! Okana roll!”

1!

2!

Polly kicks out. YUYO falls forward. Polly gets up and YUYO runs at her, but Polly jumps up and hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

1!

2!

YUYO kicks out.

Sharper: “And a hurricanrana by the champion.”

Lyman: “And almost a three.”

Knots: “YUYO getting up though. This is picking up. Come on Polly.”

Polly rolls over and gets up. YUYO turns and Polly dropkicks her down. YUYO rolls over and crawls to the ropes. Polly walks over and pulls her up and clubs her once on the ropes and then again and again before pushing her down onto them. Polly slingshots over and lands on YUYO’s head with an elbow. YUYO falls back. Polly then turns and climbs up to her feet on the apron. She goes to the corner and climbs up to the top rope. She then dives off with a huge elbow drop. She goes for the pin.

1!

2!

YUYO gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and Polly gets up and grabs her. She drags her up and then chops her. The crowd woos. She whips YUYO into the corner. Polly runs after and YUYO gets a boot up. Polly stumbles back and turns back, running into YUYO who gets her boots up again. Polly falls to her knees. YUYO then runs forward and along Polly’s back. Polly looks up and turns and runs at her and YUYO kicks her in the ribs and hits a DDT. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “YUYO spikes Polly with the DDT!”

Knots: “Polly almost got planted straight up there. YUYO got all of it!”

YUYO turns and gets up as Polly rolls over, wincing in pain. She starts to get up and YUYO extends her arms. She then steps up as Polly turns around and locks in the Cub Hug. YUYO nuzzles her face into Polly before leaning back, letting go and pinching her nose. Polly then pushes her away and swings. YUYO ducks and grabs her arm and kicks her in the ribs. She then climbs up the ropes and starts to walk along the top rope, singing badly before diving off with the YUYO Funtime Song and Dance! The crowd ohs. YUYO lands on Polly and pulls back on the legs.

1!

2!

Polly kicks out. YUYO rolls away.

Sharper: “YUYO driving her body into the face of Polly only got two.”

Knots: “But also has Polly gasping for air. YUYO is now in all control and she’ll do it all, smothering you, throwing her ass at you, destroying your hearing through her singing!”

YUYO gets up and turns to Polly. She grabs her and pulls her up. She nails her with a hard clubbing blow and then another before hip checking her in the side of the head. Polly falls to the ropes. YUYO then runs at her and jumps up and goes for a crossbody, but both go up and over the top rope and land on the floor, right by the entrance way. (1) Meowkazawa looks on concerned as Beezlebubble walks around. Colleen and Aisling see this and come around to the opposite side. (2) YUYO and Playtime are both down. (3) Playtime looks up at YUYO as YUYO looks at her. (4) She then points at her and runs at her, but Playtime lifts her up for a back drop. YUYO bounces off the ropes. (5) She lands on her feet and goes to DDT her down. Playtime fights it and then lifts her up and pushes her forward and slams her on the rampway. (6) The crowd ohs. Beezlebubble walks closer as Aisling and Colleen do the same. As this happens, though, we see Cassie Wolfe walk out from the back. The crowd cheers. (7) She steps forward as Polly looks up. Colleen and Aisling walk toward them. (8) Polly backs up and Beezlebubble then gets in the way. Meowkazawa runs over to stop as YUYO starts to get up. Cassie then suddenly swings and nails Aisling with a shot before they can react. Colleen turns and grabs Cassie. (9) Polly turns and snaps at Beezlebubble. YUYO looks up. (10) She then turns and runs at Colleen and helps Cassie! The crowd cheers as the bell sounds. Polly glares at Beezlebubble and then Meowkazawa before we see YUYO nailing Colleen again, knocking her down. Cassie steps up and nails Aisling with a shot. YUYO jumps up and cheers.

Sharper: “Both were counted out, but Cassie Wolfe standing with YUYO!”

Lyman: “Polly just found out! And now she’s coming at them!”

Polly runs forward as YUYO runs up and points. Cassie turns and takes a shot from Polly before YUYO runs over and jumps onto Polly, tackling her down. The crowd roars. Cassie turns as Colleen nails her with a hard right. Wolfe fires back before Aisling grabs her and throws her back. Cassie rolls down the rampway and to the mats. Aisling points at YUYO. Meowkazawa warns her but YUYO hops up.

YUYO: “MAGICAL BUTT KICKING TIME!”

Before she can act, Aisling and Colleen attack her from behind. They then grab her and both clubs away on her as Polly starts to get up. She looks over and shakes her head before Cassie glances back. She then looks to the ring, jumping to the apron and then jumping to the top rope and hitting a corkscrew moonsault onto everyone! The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “The Playgirls Three taking it to YUYO as again they didn’t start the chaos, but they’ll fight. And now Cassie Wolfe!”

Knots: “Jesus! Just throwing herself on the line!”

Wolfe rolls over as the crowd roars. Her music starts to play as officials come to the scene to check on people and get people away. Wolfe turns to YUYO who crawls forward. Meowkazawa and Beezlebubble try to help her up as we cut away.

Backstage, we cut to see Kimberly Williams and Kandis fighting in the hallways outside of the locker room. Kim gets a few shots to the ribs as Kandis controls her head. Angelica runs after, trying to stop them as Kim then spins around and sends Kandis through to an open area.

Sharper: “Kandis attacking Kim! And I guess that Kandis certainly doesn’t give a damn about what Adam Allocco says!”

Knots: “And Kandis going after Kim. And this is a fight!”

Lyman: “Doesn’t seem to care who she’s going to upset in her desire to get to the front of the line!”

Kandis gets up as Kim runs at her and nails her with a hard right and then another and another before Kandis grabs and spins her over a storage crate. It rolls out as Kim slowly gets up. Kandis then turns and looks around before grabbing a light used for filming and lifts it up and runs and spears it at Kim. Kim steps up and moves out of the way. Kandis then turns and heads over to Kim. Kim then swings the storage crate such that it swings out and catches Kandis in the leg. Kim jumps off the crate and takes her down with a crossbody. Kim then turns back and smirks as Kandis stirs. She starts to get up and Kim runs at her and goes for a Morrigan’s Wrath. Kandis catches her leg and spins her around before then muscling her up and slamming her on the storage crate. Angelica heads over to Kim and Kandis snaps at her.

Kandis: “Stay back. She can take her care of herself!”

Kandis then turns and just then, we see a chair fly at her face. Kandis however catches it. Kandis looks out, moving it to her side as Asher Hayes stands in front of her, shrugging. Kandis then turns as Kim then nails Kandis with the Morrigan’s Wrath, knocking the chair back into her face. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes getting now involved. Last week stepping up to Kandis. And tonight…the chair.”

Lyman: “Kandis caught it, but Kim did the damage.”

Asher then looks at Kandis as Kim turns and steps forward, but Angelica stops her.

Kim: “No…I want to go for him. I don’t need you Asher!”

Asher shrugs.

Asher: “That’s fine…I did it for me. Because I’m in line too.”

Asher smirks as he backs up as Kim is forced back by Angelica. Crew members and security come into the scene. Kandis stirs, wincing in pain. She holds her jaw as the scene cuts away.

Deanna Frost vs. Amelia Stone

"Test me" begins to play throughout the arena. The crowd murmurs as Amelia makes her way out from behind the curtains, the UK Championship belt proudly draped over her shoulder. She stares out across the stage, around the crowd as Glory Braddock soon joins her.

Phillips: "Making her way to the ring, accompanied by Glory Braddock, coming in from Phoenix Arizona, Amelia Stone!"

Glory sneers at Phillips refusing to acknowledge Amelia’s title, but Amelia shrugs it off. Making her way down to the ring, she takes the steps before going along the side and peering once more at the people in the crowd. She sets her title in the corner before placing her arms back over the top rope, she uses it as she does a backflip over the rope to enter the ring.

Sharper: “This is Amelia Stone’s first official match she coming back to SCW and she’s got a hell of a challenge before her in one-half of the Tag Team Champions.”

Knots: “It’s a great way to prove herself, especially since I’ve been hearing word that Glory might have her eyes on those belts and not just because the Frosts are holding them. A win for Amelia tonight makes a statement that The One might not be the only threat to their title reign they need to keep their eyes on!”

Amelia stretches against the ropes as Glory starts offering some last-minute advice. The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out walks Deanna and Selena Frost, the latter holding both Tag Title belts over her shoulders. As Selena stands on the center part of the ramp, she watches as Deanna runs to the far left, the redhead screaming her excitement to the fans before running to the far right to do the same, a stream of bright red and orange ‘leaves’ following the redhead on the LED screens below and behind them. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet.

Phillips: "And her opponent, accompanied by Selena Frost, from Manhattan, New York, she is one-half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, 'The Queen's Guard', Deanna Frost!"

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring with a smiling Selena trailing behind her, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the Queen's Guard jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring! On the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to normal as Selena takes her place in her wife’s corner.

Sharper: “Deanna’s going to have a tough challenge ahead of her tonight with her hand still recovering against a submission expert like Amelia, but you also have to wonder how focused she is on this match.”

Lyman: “She challenged The One to find herself a partner and she and Selena would put the Tag Titles on the line at Body, Heart and Soul to put an end to her games, but so far there’s been radio silence on that front. No word on if The One has a partner in mind and no clue if she’s even acknowledged the challenge.”

The bell rings and both ladies start to circle one another. Amelia reaches a hand out, calling for a lockup, but Deanna shakes her head knowing which hand she’d have to use for it. Amelia rolls her eyes at this and slowly closes the gap before suddenly shooting in for a takedown, prompting Deanna to throw a knee strike in response. Amelia manages to catch it, however, before slamming her elbow down onto Deanna’s thigh! Deanna hops back a bit, reaching down to her thigh, and that gives Amelia the opening she needs to grab her by the hand that’s been injured before throwing a kick at that thigh to drop her to a knee before wrenching the arm and then bringing an axe kick down onto the elbow! Glory applauds out on the floor while Selena stares her down from the opposite side of the ring, the disappointment clear on her face.

Sharper: “Amelia wasting no time in targeting the obvious injury Deanna’s been recovering from since Under Attack and that Chamber Match, courtesy of The One.”

Lyman: “Not only that, but going after the leg a bit as well to try and take The Burnout away from Deanna.”

Knots: “Selena can pout all she wants from her wife’s corner, but I think it’s already clear who’s been better trained for this match.”

Amelia pulls Deanna’s arm out on the mat before jumping into a stomp onto the hand. Deanna quickly holds it close against her midsection as she rolls towards the ropes and Amelia eyes her carefully as she starts pulling herself back to her feet. The moment Deanna reaches out with that hand to help in this endeavor, Amelia charges forward and kicks at it, sandwiching it between the rope and her boot! Deanna scoots toward the corner where Selena is, clutching her hand as her wife starts talking to her, but Amelia moves in and grabs that arm before feeding it through the ropes so she can stretch Deanna’s arm while the elbow is driven into it. She looks out and Selena with a smirk as the referee counts, taking delight in Selena also warning her to let go as she waits until the referee reaches four before doing so. She steps out onto the apron, taking a moment to dare Selena to intervene before she tries to wedge Deanna’s hand underneath the turnbuckle padding, but whatever she’s planning is cut off as Deanna manages to pull away and sweep her legs, causing her to land on the apron as her head hits with an audible thud!

Sharper: “Amelia wasting precious seconds trying to provoke Selena and that was enough for Deanna to take control!”

Lyman: “The way her head smacked off the apron like that did not sound good at all.”

Selena steps back against the barricade to make it clear she’s not interfering as Deanna takes a moment to try and shake some feeling back into her hand before she pulls Amelia back into the ring and plants her with a DDT using her other arm. She measures Amelia before jumping into a knee drop that lands right between the eyes before following this up with a cover.

The referee’s hand just hits the mat for the two count before Amelia kicks out! Deanna is undeterred as she pulls Amelia back to her feet before taking her over with a snapmare and bouncing off the ropes before connecting with a knee strike right to the spine! Amelia grits her teeth in pain as Deanna runs off the ropes in front of her now before catching her in the face with a dropkick. Amelia uses the momentum from this to roll toward the ropes to keep Deanna from going straight into another pin. Deanna goes to pull her away from the ropes, but Amelia shoves her away and steps out onto the apron, and when Deanna moves in again to try and bring her back into the ring, she catches a thumb to the eye that’s immediately followed by Amelia grabbing her wrist and dropping to the floor to snap her arm against the top rope! Glory walks over to praise Amelia and offer advice on her next move as Selena glares at them from the opposite side.

Sharper: “Amelia going to the eye and then using the ropes to cut off Deanna before she could really get going, and Selena clearly not a fan of how much Glory’s liking this.”

Knots: “Glory’s change in attitude already brought a U.S. Title reign with it and she hasn’t been hiding the fact that the Tag Titles are on her radar in her pursuit of Supreme Champion status. With Amelia by her side, this could be a preview of that crowning moment in her career!”

Amelia climbs back into the ring and approaches a rising Deanna, who manages to catch her in the side of the head with an elbow strike using her good arm. She lands another one that seems to rock Amelia, but she uses the momentum to catch Deanna with a spinning karate kick to her bad wrist! As Deanna clutches it close, Amelia moves in to grab it before applying an octopus stretch. The referee checks in with Deanna but she refuses to submit. Amelia starts trying to work the injured hand as Deanna fights to stay on her feet, slowly working her way free of the hold. She finally frees herself enough to try and hip toss Amelia over, but Amelia pulls on her hair to put the brakes on that before wrenching the arm into an arm breaker! Glory applauds this while Selena looks disgusted as she pleads with the ref about Amelia’s flagrant bending of the rules.

Lyman: “Deanna’s been struggling to really get anything going, and any opening she creates is immediately shut down by whatever shortcut Amelia can exploit!”

Knots: “She hasn’t done anything to warrant a disqualification which makes it fair game as far as Amelia is concerned. A tactic she picked up from one of the best!”

Amelia pulls Deanna back to her feet, Deanna trying to position her body to shield her hand and arm from Amelia’s grasp. Amelia changes tactics and instead kicks Deanna right in the knee to create an opening so she can start muscling her up with a gutwrench into a shoulder breaker, but Deanna manages to squirm her way free! She lands behind her and starts trying to apply a rear naked choke with her one good arm, but this easily allows Amelia to grab that arm and twist her way out of it, only for Deanna to suddenly jump up and take her over with the Cold-Snapmare! She immediately follows this up with a stiff elbow strike that rocks Amelia, stunning her enough that it gives her a chance to try and shake some feeling into her injured hand before she runs toward the ropes and pulls off a no-handed lionsault! She makes the cover.

Amelia Stone kicks out!

Sharper: “Deanna Frost not going down without a fight, and she’s got Amelia in a bad way right now!”

Lyman: “You have to wonder if The One is taking notes. Again, we’ve still heard no word from her regarding Deanna’s challenge to find a partner and face her and Selena at Body, Heart and Soul for the Tag Titles.”

Deanna applies a grounded facelock, making sure to only use her good arm as she flattens out to try and apply pressure and keep Amelia grounded. The referee checks in but Amelia refuses to submit and starts trying to work her way back to her feet. She reaches up to try and rake Deanna’s eyes, but The Queen’s Guard releases her and backs away to avoid this. She kicks Amelia in the gut and tries to go for the Spring Fling DDT, but Amelia manages to twist out of it and grab Deanna’s bad hand before running toward the corner and throwing Deanna into the turnbuckles with a running arm wringer! She takes a moment to regain her composure before she grabs Deanna’s hand and rests it on the bottom turnbuckle before stomping it, then she grabs the top rope and uses it as leverage to grind the hand beneath her heel. The referee starts counting and she breaks at four, ignoring the referee as he warns her not to keep pushing the rules. She pulls Deanna to her feet and takes her over with a half nelson suplex that she then chains into a cattle mutilation! The referee checks with Deanna as Amelia applies pressure on her shoulders, but she refuses to submit. Glory leans on the apron telling her to just submit as Selena starts slapping the apron, leading the fans to clap along to support Deanna as she tries to squirm her way over to the ropes. She reaches out with her foot and her toes just graze the bottom rope the first time, but as she tries again Glory pulls the rope back to make sure she can’t get the break. The referee sees this, however, and makes Amelia break the hold anyway! Glory gets on the apron to argue this, but the referee ignores her until Amelia releases the cattle mutilation.

Knots: “Amelia getting screwed here! You’d think this would have come to an end when Shaun Cruze left!”

Lyman: “The referee knows Deanna would have gotten the rope break had Glory not intervened and he’s enforcing it accordingly!”

She gets up and she and Glory both start arguing against this, but the referee only tells Glory to get off the apron. She continues to argue with the referee as she motions for Amelia to return her attention to Deanna. She turns and sees her starting to get up before grabbing her arm for the Due Respect, but Deanna manages to swing up with an elbow that rocks Amelia enough to create separation. She measures Amelia as she rises while the referee finally gets Glory off the apron and charges her for The Burnout, only for Amelia to pull the referee in the way of the knee strike! He hits the mat and Deanna immediately realizes what happened, but as she goes to check on him Amelia shoves her through the ropes and onto the apron before grabbing the arm she’s been targeting all match delivering the Minor Flesh Wound!

Sharper: “Deanna looking for The Burnout and Amelia used the referee as a human shield!”

Lyman: “She’s been taking every shortcut she can find to try and win this match, and it looks like she’s planning on taking advantage of this as well!”

As Deanna rolls along the mat and clutches at her arm, Amelia crawls over to her corner before grabbing the UK Championship belt. She rises to her feet, measuring Deanna with the belt as she starts to stir, but Selena runs around the ring and hops up onto the apron to try and pull the belt out of her hands! She and Amelia have a brief tussle with the belt before it flies out of both ladies’ grasp and lands on the mat. Selena reaches in to try and pull the belt away, but Glory quickly pulls her off the apron and blocks her path. Selena doesn’t hesitate to start chewing Glory out for her change in attitude and how she expected better of her while trying to move past her, but Glory keeps cutting her off while demanding to know if Selena even believes half the stuff that comes out of her mouth. As the argument gets more heated and the two women get nose-to-nose, Amelia has grabbed the title belt again and measures Deanna as she finally gets back to her feet, but the crowd starts roaring as the camera cuts to the stage to see Chance Owens rushing toward the ring!

Knots: “What the hell is he doing here!?”

Sharper: “Chance Owens! He took the pin that eliminated his and Glory’s team from Trios last week, and I think he’s taken issue with Amelia threatening to make him pay for it!”

Chance slides into the ring and Amelia immediately shifts her focus to him. He charges her and she goes to swing the belt at him, but he ducks underneath and grabs her for the Checkstop, causing her to drop the belt again. She quickly fights her way out of it and creates space, which leaves her wide open to The Burnout from Deanna! The fans are roaring as Chance quickly vacates the ring and Deanna makes the cover, the referee slowly coming to and crawling over to make the count. Glory realizes what’s happened and goes to try and stop it, but now Selena is the one blocking her path!

The bell rings and "People Like Us" hits the speakers as Deanna rolls off of Amelia, with Selena sliding into the ring to hug her wife and raise her good arm in victory.

Phillips: “Here is your winner… Deanna Frost!”

Sharper: “Chance Owens running interference to keep Amelia from using that UK Title belt, and Deanna is able to come away with the win here!”

Knots: “He had no business being out here, especially since it was his fault Glory didn’t add another Trios Tournament victory to her resume. How can the Frosts live with this blatant highway robbery?”

Lyman: “Wait a minute, look who’s joining us!”

As Chance backs up the stage, grinning at Glory who glares at him, The One has now stepped out onto the stage, silently watching as Deanna and Selena celebrate. They take notice of her as she just stares them down. Amelia, meanwhile, rolls out to the floor and Glory collects her, looking absolutely irate as she and Chance exchange looks as well before he disappears along the side of the stage and toward the back.

Breakdown, we see The One walking through the hallway.

???: “Hey! One!”

The One stops and turns as Glory Braddock walks over to her.

Glory: “I have something I need to talk to you about. I saw what you did in the Trios. Carrying your team like that.”

The One: “What do you want? Shouldn’t you be helping your shadow get over her loss.”

Glory: “She’ll need to come to terms with it. My attention now is on you. There aren’t too many people that know Selena as well as I do. I’ve even teamed with her. If you want to really make a state-“

The One: “I have no desire to take someone who claims to be better than everyone and at one point, arrogantly called herself the Best in the World to help her for something that transparently is just getting you another title so you can continue to lord over this sport. I’m here to provoke change. You’re as bad as they are.”

Glory: “Guess you don’t have the killer instinct I thought you had. Just another rookie who thinks they’re hot shit.”

The One: “I at least realize my shit still stinks. And it’s why I’m going to succeed. Con your way to the tag titles some other way.”

The One turns and storms off. Glory just glares at The One and turns and heads in the opposite direction.

The lights dim slightly as a male voice speaks:

“When's the last time you were afraid?”
“I haven't been afraid a day in my life.”

The music and chorus of Shinedown's “Dead Don't Die” kicks in, with white strobe lights flashing in time. Bree Lancaster runs out from the curtain, arms spread wide, hands facing up, and a smile on her face. The crowd cheers as Lancaster looks around the arena. She holds her SCW Adrenaline Championship belt over her head.

Sharper: “She’s returning home!”

{The dead don't die, the heart still beats
Head held high, I haunt these streets
Life's killed me a hundred thousand times
You can try, you can try, but the dead don't die}

Bree makes her way down the ramp, confidence in her step as she speaks to a fan or two on the way.

{Knock me down six feet deep
One more round, no reprieve
Life's killed me a hundred thousand times
You can try, you can try, but the dead don't die}

Bree sprints up the ring steps, quickly wipes her feet on the apron then steps through the ropes. She does a spin in the center of the ring, arms spread out like before, drawing cheers. She walks across the ring and goes over to the corner. She’s handed a microphone by Jason Phillips. Lancaster talks to him some before turning back to the middle of the ring. The crowd cheers as Bree looks around. A “Bree!” chant begins as Bree smirks. She then listens for a bit before then nodding.

Bree: “Well, New Orleans…I’m home!”

The crowd cheers as Bree smiles, beaming, as she looks around. She then pauses as the Bree chants return. Bree listens to them for a few moments again before starting.

Bree: “To come back home after being away from the ring after giving birth to nugget, and now coming home with the Adrenaline Championship. That feels pretty good to me.”

The crowd cheers again.

Bree: “Nah, it feels pretty great!”

Bree nods as the crowd cheers again.

Bree: “But there is something that would make it better and it would be stepping into this ring and competing here in New Orleans.”

The crowd roars. But Bree stops them, holding her hand up.

Bree: “I asked guys. Unfortunately, they said no. I know! I know.”

The crowd boos before Bree continues.

Bree: “There’s too many great talent and just so much time we can, but they were able to give me some time to come out here and talk to you. To my hometown fans. To talk about what awaits. Whether it’s me holding this championship for a long time, awaiting my next challenge, to standing with Datura as we take the Tag Division by storm. See, this is a bit different than in the past. While I’ve spent a lot on myself, now…to be able to come out here, and I know it’s happening. SCW knows. Datura’s said it. I am. And we’re going to start showing the world what we can do. Because Datura, no matter what, she’s going to top of this sport where she belongs. I’m drag her there myself!”

The crowd roars.

Bree: “And plus, we made a promise to each other we’d get there. So Selena, Deanna, or if it’s The One and whoever she finds to be her partner, just keep an eye looking behind you. We’re coming for that title.”

Bree continues as the crowd boos a bit as James Evans walks out from the back without his music playing. He just calmly makes his way down to the ring.

Bree: “I mean I may owe her one even though there’s no issue there when we faced at Under Attack and-“

Bree stops as she sees James Evans walking down to the ring.

Bree: “James? What are you-“

James Evans climbs up onto the apron. He then holds a hand out and steps into the ring. He walks over to Bree, saying something to her, before turning and walking over to the corner. He asks for a microphone and is given one by Jason Phillips. He then turns back.

James: “First off, Bree…I’m here to just talk. We don’t need more violence as we’ve had tonight.”

Bree looks at him confused.

Bree: “I’m more confused about why you’re even out here.”

James: “A number of reasons Bree. While I may be facing Syren later, this is clearly some attempt to ask for something I’m not willing to give them. I’ll give the world a competitive match, but they are hoping for blood. I am not that person any more. Just as you’re not the same person you were. And I know you understand that.”

Bree looks at him still confused. James turns away, trying to think about how to restate his point.

James: “You have come out here and you said you wanted competition. I would happily give it to you. You’ve always been one who stood for that. You wanted to do things right in this ring. To compete. Even trying to give a competitive match to your friend, Datura, a misguided soul. To help her against Holly Adams and her Brand. We didn’t need more of the same bloodlust…bloodlust that has made me do things and embarrasses me I was part of it. Even with people you are close to and…”

Bree: “James…your point.”

James: “I will happily give you a match against me. Even tonight. Do double-duty. I will-“

Bree: “Even if I say yes…no one is going to agree to it. You’re in the main event. And while I’d love to compete, these fans saw you versus Syren…a rematch from a rivalry that NEVER was resolved. And it happens here in New Orleans! And I’m not going to take it away no matter how much I want to compete tonight in my hometown.”

The crowd cheers some.

James: “Bree-“

Bree: “Are you angling for my title? If so, just say it-“

James: “You’re getting upset. Maybe I was wrong. I was hoping that visually Datura could see that she’s gone down the wrong path. Just…you know what…maybe more people are hopeless than I thought.”

James steps past Bree, intentionally giving her a wide berth, before walking over to the ropes. He drops the microphone disappointed before stepping through the ropes to the floor. Bree looks confused as James Evans heads to the back. The crowd boos as he does.

Sharper: “James Evans coming out here. Derailing Bree’s speech and now leaving.”

Knots: “Not before taking a shot at Bree and Datura.”

The camera follows James as we cut away.

Sharper: “Let’s go backstage where Jessica Winters is with Konrad Raab. Jessica?”

Backstage, we see Konrad Raab backstage, pacing and annoyed. Jessica Winters stands with him.

Winters: “Thank you Adam. Konrad, you had a hell of a fight against Alexis Quinne last week, but she got the better of you-“

Raab: “I know! Don’t you think I know. A soft person like that and…she wanted a fight. I gave it and I fell short…and now SHE is back and demanding more that she doesn’t deserve. This is NOT how this is going to happen. I need to take it all down. Burn it to the ground!”

Winters: “Konrad…just-“

Raab: “No! You shut up! Everything is going to be burned by blood when I’m done with it. People are going to start to fear what I can do around here. Not look to step up to me-“

Dampshaw: “Well…too bad, because I thought you wanted a fight.”

Reginald Dampshaw III steps into the view.

Dampshaw: “Too many weak people around here. Trust the two European-based competitors to know what that means…but if you wish to be feared…I don’t fear you. I just want to test you!”

Raab: “You son of a bitch!”

Raab lunges as Dampshaw grabs his hand and goes to turn, but Raab grabs him by the head and turns, pushing him into the wall. They hit with a thud and Dampshaw then headbutts Raab and Raab headbutts him back. The two then grab one another and both keep going after one another, headbutting each other before officials run into the scene and start to work on pushing them apart. The crowd roars as Dampshaw and Raab look at each other, both bleeding from the forehead from their assault on one another. Dampshaw just smiles as Raab glares at him. The crowd roars as we cut to commercial.

Backstage, we see Bree Lancaster in her locker room with Datura waiting, her hands on her hips.

Datura: “What the hell was that?”

Bree: “I know. What was that? James just coming out and walking off-“

Datura: “He screwed up your return home. This is your home.”

Bree: “Looks like he doesn’t know what he’s doing.”

Datura: “No. He just screwed this up for you. You know what. I’ll make it right. This is Bree Country and damn it, he and everyone else will know!”

Datura turns and heads off as Bree scoffs, laughing a bit, as the scene shifts and Breakdown goes to ringside.

Happy Farmstead Friends vs. Light in the Darkness

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. “Die For You” by Starset begins to play, the LED screens flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front of a starry night sky with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re slowly shifting and dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully glide through the sky. One spotlight comes to life on the left side of the stage from the camera’s perspective, revealing Amelia Blythe standing underneath it, eyes focused on the ring and a small smile on her lips as her hands are folded in front of her, giving her the look of a proper young lady. A second spotlight comes to life on the right side of the stage, revealing La Pequeña Luz standing underneath it with the kind of grin that could light up a room all on its own as she motions with her hands for the fans to get pumped up, which they immediately proceed to do. The two slowly turn their attention to one another and begin closing the distance, their spotlights following them as they stop within arm’s reach of one another, where Amelia extends her hand and Luz takes it before they pull their bodies close, the spotlights merging into one piercing through the darkness.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are the team of La Pequena Luz and Amelia Blythe, they are the Light in the Darkness!”

When the song goes into the chorus, the two ladies begin to literally waltz their way down to the ring, fast and fluid to keep pace with the song as the spotlight follows their every move, leaving fans mesmerized by their synergy. As the chorus reaches its end and the two find themselves at the bottom of the ramp, they push away from one another as far as their arms will allow without letting go before quickly pointing to the LED screens with their free hands, where the night scene is immediately engulfed in white before transitioning to a video package of the two ladies in action, both together and individually. Slowly, the two release one another, the single spotlight splitting in two again as Amelia makes her way up the steps to walk across the apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz, meanwhile, hops up onto the apron right in front of her and grabs the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees, cupping her hands together in front of her while Amelia stands right behind her, hands folded before her once again. As Luz lifts her cupped hands upward, the arena lights slowly begin to come back on as Amelia takes her hands and pulls her to her feet, spinning her around one final time into a tight embrace and a soft kiss before the two move to their corner to prepare for battle, with both girls shedding their robes and Amelia also removing her mask.

Sharper: “Light in the Darkness looking to stand out in the tag division here in SCW and going to have a tough challenge tonight against the former champions.”

Lyman: “Yeah, but they have a familiarity. Luz was teaming with Hairless Penguin in the Trios Tournament. Dancing Bear got them disqualified, so you wonder whether that motivates them tonight.”

The crowd roars as jaunty and generic royalty free music begins to play throughout the arena. On the big screen, a unicorn gallops across a beautiful, flowery field, leaving petals exploding into the air underneath its hooves. It gets closer to the camera as it prepares to fly off, but not before evacuating its bowels, which take the form of letters in a bubble font, reading:

Lexy Chapel Presents

HAPPY FARMSTEAD FRIENDS

From behind the curtain, Dancing Bear awkwardly moonwalks out onto the stage. Following close behind is Hairless Penguin, clad in his mask and now in a full black and white suit, plus a moderately priced steel string guitar held over his shoulder. The two make their way to the center of the stage before Lexy Chapel makes her way out behind them, squeezing in between them to take her place on center stage. She physically and literally presents them with her arms at her sides. Hairless Penguin poses stoically while Dancing Bear flosses. After a moment of fantastical posing, they begin to make their way down the ramp.

Phillips: “Their opponents, accompanied by Lexy Chapel, they are the team of Hairless Penguin and The Dancing Bear, they are Lexy Chapel Presents the Happy Farmstead Friends!”

Lexy barks at Dancing Bear to keep dancing as he jigs down the ramp with Hairless Penguin playing guitar along to the royalty free music. Hairless Penguin makes his way up the steps and into the ring, holding his guitar into the air. Behind him, Dancing Bear struggles to get into the ring because he's in an oversized suit, but he eventually gets there. Lexy takes her place on the outside of the ring, searching for the nearest child to remind them to tell their parents to buy some Happy Farmstead Friends merchandise. Hairless Penguin hands his guitar off to the timekeeper. He goes to take off his blazer and suit, but Lexy stops him. Penguin shrugs before taking his place in the corner. Dancing Bear comes along and puts his arm around Hairless Penguin as their royalty free music begins to fade.

Sharper: “Penguin coming out dressed in a full suit.”

Knots: “Okay, so, we have a Dancing Bear that Lexy wants to be like Cocaine Bear, based on solely the trailer now and Hairless Penguin has to look like a champion, and so he’s wearing a suit.”

Lyman: “Apparently also for the match.”

Sharper: “Has she become more unhinged as of late, or have we just gotten so used to her ridiculousness?”

The bell sounds. Amelia Blythe remains in the ring, hopping up and down to get the blood going. Bear and Penguin talk before Penguin turns, in his suit, and gets ready to compete. The crowd cheers a bit as Penguin and Blythe then walk up toward one another and lock up. Blythe quickly turns into an arm wrench. She jerks on the arm. Penguin winces and Blythe runs to the corner, still holding on. She then pulls Penguin shoulder first into the corner, using his momentum against him. Penguin turns and Blythe chops him in the chest. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. She then grabs him and snapmares him out of the corner and kicks him in the back. Penguin rolls over in pain. He starts to get up and Blythe runs at him and ducks under his arm and spins around Penguin before moving into a side headlock. She then hits a takedown.

Penguin rolls his shoulder up. Blythe holds on.

Sharper: “Amelia Blythe is a very talented technical wrestler and showing it right now.”

Lyman: “Think there’s a bit of a chip on her shoulder. Showing what they could’ve done without the Farmstead in Trios?”

Sharper: “Or maybe just making a point.”

Penguin slowly gets his feet under him and pushes Blythe into the ropes and fires her off. She bounces off and Blythe runs at Penguin and Penguin shoulders her down. He runs at the ropes. He bounces off and Blythe rolls towards him. Penguin flips over her. He gets to his feet. Blythe does too. They run at one another and Penguin goes for a clothesline. Blythe ducks and hits the ropes, reaching out, tagging in Luz. Blythe runs at Penguin and goes for a clothesline of her own. Penguin ducks as Luz slingshots in with a dropkick. The crowd ohs. Luz goes for the pin.

Penguin kicks out. Penguin turns as Luz grabs him by the arm and wrenches it. She then runs at the corner and runs up it and jumps up, leg presses off the top rope and backflips back and into an arm drag. Penguin is sent across the ring and lands on his back. He starts to get up and Luz gets up and runs at him, shouldering him. Penguin falls back into the corner. Luz runs along the ropes and Bear swats at her. She adjusts, moving out of the way, hitting the ropes and runs at Penguin, but Penguin pulls himself out of the way as Luz goes for a running dropkick. Luz slides to the floor. She gets up and slides back in and Penguin hits a dropkick, knocking her down. Penguin then gets up and tags in Bear. Bear enters. He lets out a roar.

Sharper: “Penguin finally turning this around. The Light in the Darkness with a great start.

Lyman: “But now the Dancing Bear is in.”

Knots: “Did he just roar?”

Penguin exits, tugging on his suit, trying to get used to it as Bear runs at Luz as she gets up and splashes her in the corner. The crowd ohs. Bear then turns back and pounds his chest. Lexy walks over.

Lexy: “More rawr! More tear! Less gorilla!”

Bear turns and thrusts his paw at Lexy, perhaps as a thumbs up. He turns and grabs Luz and pulls her up and just throws her down with a hip throw. Luz rolls over and turns as Bear walks over and hits an elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

Luz kicks out. Bear then gets up and turns and runs at Blythe, swatting at her with his bear paw. She hops down as Blythe glares at him. Bear then roars again and turns and runs at Luz as Luz gets up and Luz hits a basement dropkick to the knee. Bear falls forward. Luz gets up and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a flipping leg drop to the back. Bear rolls over and Luz goes for the pin.

Bear pushes her off. He rolls over as Luz rolls to the corner and tags in Amelia. Amelia enters as Luz springboards to the top rope. Blythe then grabs her as Bear gets up and launches Amelia into him with the Spicy Toss, knocking Bear down. Blythe moves into a pin.

Bear kicks out again. He rolls over, but Blythe grabs him and starts to move into a crossface. Bear struggles and fights and shuffles to the ropes.

Sharper: “Blythe going for the arm and quickly stopped by the ropes as Bear knew it would be bad.”

Knots: “Would a cocaine bear care about an arm submission?”

Sharper: “Jon, I don’t know. How about you see the movie and report back.”

Knots: “Only if SCW is paying…or Lexy!”

Blythe holds on.

Blythe lets go as she stops herself and gets up. Bear then starts to pulls himself up and Blythe walks over and kicks him in the ribs. She then goes low and manages to hoist him up and hit a fireman’s carry. The crowd roars a bit. Bear rolls through and turns and Blythe grabs him by the head and hooks his head, but Bear nails her in the ribs with a shot and then another. Blythe lets go and Bear gets up and hits a wild swinging back swing to the head. Blythe hits the mat. She starts to get up and Bear then scoops her up and slams her down. He turns and tags in Penguin. Penguin climbs up to the top rope and Bear grabs him and press slams him down onto Blythe.

Sharper: “The Farmstead now using their double-team. Bear using Penguin as a weapon.”

Lyman: “And into a cover!”

Penguin reaches back for the pin.

Blythe kicks out. Bear exits as Penguin gets up. He straightens his suit as Blythe stirs and Penguin grabs her and manages to hit a back suplex. He then stands up and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and hits a running leg drop. He goes for another pin.

Blythe kicks out again. She turns and Penguin grabs her and pulls her up. He whips her into the corner. Penguin runs after and Blythe gets an elbow up. Penguin stumbles out, holding his jaw. Blythe then runs out and goes for up for an Octopus Stretch, but Penguin counters with a sidewalk slam. He pulls back on her legs.

Blythe gets her shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Blythe rolls over as Penguin gets up. Bear yells at him to keep going. Chapel applauds. Penguin grabs her and pulls her up and forearms her in the jaw. Penguin then scoops her up and slams her down. Penguin turns and exits to the apron. He then climbs up to the top rope. Blythe stirs as Penguin looks at her and goes for a top rope crossbody. Blythe ducks as Penguin hits and rolls through to the opposite ropes. Blythe gets up and cuffs him with a European uppercut. Penguin falls through the ropes to the floor by the entrance way, but right by the Light in the Darkness entrance. Blythe tags in La Pequena Luz. Penguin slowly gets up. (1) He looks up as Luz jumps off the apron with a standing shooting star press onto Penguin. The crowd ohs. (1)

Sharper: “La Pequena Luz off the apron! Shooting Star!”

Lyman: “Blythe and Luz know each other well. Just naturally working toward those double team moves and set ups!”

Luz rolls over as the crowd cheers. She slowly gets up. (2) She winces a bit as Penguin looks up. Lexy looks on concerned as she motions to Bear to do something. Bear then walks along the apron and then goes to the corner. (3) Luz turns and throws Penguin into the ring. Blythe then runs along the apron and sees Bear and jumps up and nails him with a European uppercut. Bear falls off the corner, to the apron and to the floor. (4) The crowd roars. Luz climbs to the apron and then climbs to the top rope. She looks at Penguin who is down and she then dives off with a swanton bomb. She turns and hooks the leg.

Penguin shoots his shoulder up. The crowd ohs, and many cheer.

Sharper: “And Penguin gets the shoulder up. We’ve talked about his heart.”

Lyman: “And this is a man who nearly beat Owen Cruze! He doesn’t need the suit to come off more as a champion. He has it inside of him.”

Knots: “Yeah, but Lexy Chapel is a marketing genius! She says so herself!”

Penguin rolls over as Luz turns and grabs him. She then turns and sanpmares him into a seated position. She turns and tags in Blythe. Blythe enters as both then run into the ropes. They bounce off and connect with the Frozen Gauntlet. The crowd ohs. Blythe now goes for the pin.

Penguin shoots his shoulder up again. The crowd cheers some more. Blythe looks at him a bit surprised. Penguin rolls to his stomach. Bear starts to get up, holding his back in pain. Blythe then gets up and looks at Penguin. Penguin crawls forward and Blythe rolls him over and starts to go for the Abomination. The crowd roars as Penguin struggles a bit. He starts to yell out in pain as Blythe pulls back on his head, hooking his arm. She tries to reach for his boot, but Penguin fights off a bit. She tries again as Bear then rolls into the ring. Blythe tries a third time before Luz warns her, but Bear runs in and just dives onto Blythe, helping his partner and taking Blythe down with a vicious crossbody/splash type move.

Sharper: “Blythe was going to turn Penguin into a human pretzel, but Bear with the save!”

Lyman: “Or the mauling! And Luz still in the ring!”

Bear gets up and turns and goes for Luz, but Luz jumps up and hits a hurricanrana, taking both up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And up and over. Luz now evening the playing field in the ring. Not getting anymore involved.”

Knots: “Something tells me that’s more an issue with Bear, not Penguin.”

Penguin rolls over, wincing in pain as Blythe turns over too. Bear and Luz are down on the floor. Bear rolls over and starts to get up as Lexy Chapel pounds on the apron, trying to get Penguin going by getting the crowd behind him. The crowd does a bit, but then, the crowd roars as we see Nicole Kinneck, presumably with Pro in the driver’s seat, staggering out from the back. We see her wearing her Anti-Bear t-shirt as she steps out. She then looks at the ring and then storms towards the ramp.

Sharper: “Oh God. Nicole Kinneck is here. And we know Pro has been in the driver’s seat as of late.”

Lyman: “And remember the Trios? Remember what happened?! And Pro doesn’t have the Trios contract to get her revenge for Ducky!”

She climbs onto the ramp and Luz steps up to stop her, but Nicole ducks her and then lunges at Bear just kicking him between the legs. The official sees the commotion as Penguin and Blythe both get up and Nicole dives onto Bear nailing him with repeated rights and then lefts. Lexy yells at the referee. The official calls for the bell. The bell sounds as the crowd roars however for Nicole’s assault of Bear. Bear covers up as Nicole then gets up and kicks him hard in the side once and then again and again. Luz gets up and shoves her back. She tries to keep between Nicole and Bear, but Nicole then nails Luz with a hard right. She kicks Bear again. Penguin drops down and rolls to the floor. He dives onto Bear. Nicole stops for a moment and looks at Penguin.

Sharper: “Nicole just going after Bear. This has led to another disqualification, but this time in favour of the Farmstead Friends! The official saw the assault!”

Knots: “Luz trying to break it up. Just stay out of it!”

Sharper: “Penguin diving onto Bear. Trying to protect him!”

Lyman: “Nicole has stopped….or no, she hasn’t!”

Nicole then kicks Penguin in the side once and then again. Penguin rolls off and tries to move back, but Nicole gets a shot in on Bear before Blythe moves to the floor and steps between them. Nicole just smirks as Luz gets up, holding her jaw. Officials run down and start to get between them. The crowd roars as Nicole just eyes Bear. Lexy keeps back, avoiding notice as Bear and Penguin both writhe in pain. Penguin checks on Bear as Light in the Darkness add to the chorus of officials, ending the assault.

Backstage, Jenni Anderson is walking out of the building, heading to the back entrance. Jessica Winters runs over to her.

Winters: “Jenni! Can I quickly get a word?”

Jenni stops, turns, and sighs.

Jenni: “What?”

Winters: “Those papers you gave to Kandis. Where did you get them?”

Jenni sighs again.

Jenni: “When you’re important, you get access to things and maybe I wanted to share some of that access.”

Winters: “But how? Can’t be because you’re important.”

Jenni: “That…that you’re not at the right table to find out.”

Jenni turns and waves at Winters as she looks confused. Jenni leaves the building as the scene fades to commercial.

Syren vs. James Evans

The opening of “I Still Burn" can be heard blaring through the PA system.  The camera will pan through the curtain as the face of James Evans appears, igniting a negative reaction from the crowd, as they boo him a bit. The camera remains on James as he breaks through the curtain. The boos grow as James looks out at the crowd.

"Don't tell me I don't need this anymore
Don't tell me I don't feel the same inside
What the hell do I keep fighting for?
'Cause underneath I'm never satisfied"

James slowly makes his way to the ring, as images of him winning various championships and hitting various moves appear on the screen. James reaches the ring and makes his way up the ring steps, before turning and facing the crowd.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with TV Time remaining and is your main event of the evening. First, from New York City, New York, he is James Evans!”

"Yeah, I'll take the punishment
I never learn
I never learn
Yeah, I believe in it
I bleed for it
Sacrifice it all for it
My soul still stirs
And I still"

James then steps into the ring and walks to the center of it, removing his black hoodie, maintaining his focus.

"I still burn
Even when they think I'm at my end
I get up again
I still burn
Every time the fire floods these veins
Oh, it never fades
I still burn"

James then goes to the corner and sits on the top turnbuckle, his back to the crowd, as the screen shows James powerbombing Ace Marshall through the barricade, as well as James lifting the SCW World title above his head, as his music comes to an end.

Sharper: “Main event time here as James Evans coming to the ring. He’s been claiming he wants to move on from his violent past. In the process though, he’s not exactly made too many friends.”

Lyman: “Fans booing him at Under Attack. His own teammates upset with James Evans reaction to them trying to win the match. The fact is that is this him punishing himself or punishing those around him too.”

Sharper: “And he’s had a long feud with Syren in the past. You wonder if this is another one of those moments he will need to come to terms with.”

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. We cut to the backstage area where we see a tour bus with Syren’s logo on the side. Syren walks out in her full ring gear, complete with black ring jacket and pink halter-top/black tights. She begins walking into the arena as we cut back to inside to see the fans reacting. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as we see one of the doors opening and Syren walking through. She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Los Angeles, California, she is Syren!”

Sinfully Seductive

Captivatingly Corrupt

DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the walkway to the crowd barricade before walking around and through the timekeeper’s area. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope and posing in the ring with both her arms outstretched. She screams before taking off her ring jacket and throwing it over the top rope toward the timekeeper’s table. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment before jumping back down and standing in her corner as her music fades out. As she does, James Evans steps up and extends his hand to her. Syren just looks at it, ignoring it and stepping back.

Sharper: “James Evans extending his hand to Syren. Syren didn’t even have to think.”

Knots: “Syren has a long memory and remembers everyone who has crossed her.”

Sharper: “And I doubt Syren trusts him anyway.”

Syren looks at James before telling Demitra to call for the bell. Demitra looks at James. James nods and Demitra motions for it. The bell sounds. Syren steps up and James motions to her before Syren blasts him with a forearm shot. The crowd roars. Syren nails him again and again. James falls back into the corner. Syren then nails him over and over with repeated forearm blows. James covers up.

Sharper: “James Evans not putting up much fight yet because Syren hasn’t forgotten of their past.”

Lyman: “And did they ever resolve things? Syren is getting out and both are very different people from when they last clashed!”

Syren gets a few more shots in.

She falls to the mat, wincing in pain.

Sharper: “James just burying that hard right hand to the stomach of Syren.”

Lyman: “Talk about a telegraph. James may have finished with his penance.”

Knots: “You think he’d just get his ass kicked?”

Syren starts to get up and turns around and James Evans nails her with another hard right to the ribs. Syren falls to a knee and then gets up. James Evans scoops her up and slams her down. Sharper: “James Evans now, hard vertical suplex.”

Lyman: “And so far, just taking the fight to Syren.”

Sharper: “But different than we’ve seen in the past. He’s been focusing more on his pure skill and he has that. But he’s also taken issue with chaos. Right now, we’re just seeing these two throwdown here in New Orleans!”

Syren winces and Evans grabs her and locks in a side headlock. Syren turns and starts to get her knees under her. Evans holds on and gets up to his feet. Syren reaches around before then trying to pull him back to the ropes and going to fire him off. Evans holds on and drops down to a knee. The crowd boos as James looks around. Syren winces and grabs at the body before forearming James in the side and then again. James gets up and Syren then nails him a third time. James turns and knees her in the ribs. He then whips her into the corner. Syren hits. James runs after and Syren gets an elbow up. Sharper: “And James Evans now just going to wear Syren down. A reverse chinlock. Nothing fancy, but it slowly saps the energy, the air…”

Knots: “And Syren has to carry his weight.”

Lyman: “The crowd doesn’t care for it, but James Evans is hoping to just smother Syren here with this hold.”

James holds on as Syren reaches out and turns. James then ends up moving to her back and Syren grimaces as James keeps holds on and Syren starts to get up, but James then moves into a waistlock and hoists Syren up and hits a snap back suplex. Syren kicks at the mat and reaches out. She slowly starts to get her arm out.

Sharper: “Evans back to the chinlock. Syren fighting, crawling to the ropes.”

Lyman: “And slowing this match down again. Evans has moments where he turns it up, but then also steps back and slows it down.”

Knots: “This is whatever he says this all should be about. Good to see he’s been inspired by Hudson in his worst qualities!”

Sharper: “Josh Hudson training him and he always had that side of him that disliked the extremes.”

Knots: “He grew out of that when he realized how competition is!”

Evans keeps holding on as Syren reaches out and starts to get up to her feet. Evans holds on and Syren elbows him in the ribs once and then again and again, getting free. She runs into the ropes. Lyman: “I don’t know, but he’s bleeding!”

Evans shakes his head and turns as Syren then turns and runs across the ring. She bounces off and Evans lifts her up. She spins through to the apron. Evans turns and Syren nails him again with a hard right. Evans stumbles back and Syren springboards to the top rope and dives forward, but Evans catches her with a back elbow. Syren hits the mat and Evans turns and rolls over. He grabs his nose and smacks the mat. He turns back and shakes his head no and then gets up and looks at Syren as she stirs.

Evans: “I know what you’re doing! You’re not getting it!”

Evans backs up and drops down to the floor. The crowd boos as Syren starts to get up. She slowly gets up as Evans turns and backs up.(1) He looks around as the boos continue and Evans shakes his head and turns.(2)

Sharper: “He’s just leaving! This is wrestling!”

Lyman: “Guess there’s no injury in wrestling? What is going on with him?”

Sharper: “I don’t know.”

Evans takes a few steps. (3) But then, Datura bolts out of the back and runs at James and spears him down. The crowd erupts in cheers. Datura rolls through as the bell sounds. Syren steps up, arms out as Datura looks around and turns to James. James rolls over.

Sharper: “Datura! Datura coming from the back!”

Lyman: “And with a huge shot!”

Knots: “James will be regretting his decision earlier. And he’s not getting away from a fight!”

Lyman: “And she’s in the ring, not particularly pleased but-“

Knots: “Allocco?! Allocco!”

The camera cuts to the ring as Syren watches this and turns around, only for Adam Allocco to now have made his way into the ring from somewhere. Syren turns and walks into the Hangover by Allocco. Allocco looks around as he turns and looks at Syren.

Allocco: “Sorry Syren…but I’m a vindictive person. And I’m thinking long term!”

Allocco then steps up and as Syren stirs, but Allocco then dives to her and locks in the Welcome to Oblivion. The crowd boos as Syren struggles. The bell sounds again.

Sharper: “Allocco going after Syren! Did you hear him?”

Knots: “He’s thinking long term?”

Sharper: “By going after Syren?! But this…this has to do with Xander. Syren challenged Xander for Retribution!”

Allocco pulls back on Syren as Syren struggles, slowly fading as the crowd looks on, making noise. After a few moments though, the crowd erupts as Xander Valentine storms from the back. He heads down to the ring as Allocco keeps the hold on. Syren keeps struggling before Xander hops onto the apron and then steps into the ring. Allocco looks up and his eyes widen before he lets go and rolls to the ropes. Xander runs over to him and grabs him by the pants. Allocco struggles as he does before pulling himself through the ropes to the floor. Xander steps through the ropes and down as Allocco scrambles up and turns as Xander follows after and nails him with a hard forearm, knocking him into the crowd. The crowd cheers as Xander steps over the barricade and into the crowd. He follows after Allocco.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine out. Saving Syren! And in the process, going after Allocco!”

Lyman: “So he was trying to send a message to Xander too!”

Sharper: “And saving Syren in the process!”

Syren stirs as she rolls over coughing. We cut back to see Xander continuing to attack Adam as he staggers through the crowd, trying to get away. Xander follows before back in the ring, Syren slowly gets up. But as she does, she stumbles up as Ravyn Taylor climbs over the barricade, walking to the ring and sliding in. She then sits in the corner and looks at her as the crowd roars. Syren stumbles up and turns to her, seeing her. Ravyn just smirks.

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor from the crowd! She was watching everything!”

Lyman: “Why is she in the ring with her wife, Syren? They’ve gone separate paths professionally!”

Sharper: “Syren even confused. Ravyn just looking at her! What does this mean now?!”

Ravyn continues to watch Syren as Syren looks at her confused as the scene fades to black…
