Breakdown - January 9, 2019

“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

MAIN SHOW:

Breakdown opens up with a live shot inside the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The crowd can be seen booing as we cut to see a shot of Sienna Swann, holding the SCW World Championship over her shoulder, walking down to the ring with Ikiro Yoshida, London and Paris Truelove and Laura Steinbeck.

Sharper: “Welcome everyone to the first Breakdown of 2019 live in St. Louis and we are starting with our World Champion heading to the ring with the rest of the Beauty Factory!”

“Style” by Taylor Swift plays in the background as Sienna Swann reaches the ring and walks up the steel steps. She then goes to step into the ring, but Ikiro hops onto the apron and holds it open for her. Sienna smiles at him as she enters. Ikiro follows as London and Paris are next. They enter the ring before holding the ropes open for Laura. Laura enters as Sienna poses in the middle of the ring. She looks around as Ikiro is handed a microphone by Jason Phillips. Ikiro takes it and walks over to Sienna. Sienna turns to him and smiles before taking the microphone.

Sharper: “Sienna retained the World Title against Marie Jones, albeit some controversy there based on what Marie did at the End of the Year Special.”

Knots: “Yeah, but the Trueloves didn’t have a night they’re happy with. Kennedy and Trinity made sure of that!”

Sienna looks out at the crowd, listening to the boos as the music fades out. Sienna looks out at the crowd.

Sienna: “That’s right. I am still the SCW World Champion!”

The crowd boos.

Sienna: “Despite the attempts by Marie Jones to show how petty she and Dark Fantasy are, with some deal to take me out, I was able to not only see through it but completely counter it and instead, left Marie Jones lying to end 2018.”

Sienna smiles.

Sienna: “Do you get the hint now, Syren? What about you Katya? I am not going anywhere and whoever you throw at me won’t have a chance. I said it months ago and I’ll say it now. I am going to be champion until I no longer want to be. And trust me, that’s a LONG time from now.”

The crowd boos as Sienna looks out at the crowd.

Sienna: “Now we know you probably want to have your plots and schemes. It’s what you know how to do Ravyn, but after Regan gets through with you tonight, you may not be much use and CHBK…trust me, I’m not worried there. Syren, you’re going to have to deal with me and all of the Beauty Factory. You can pay off the Network. You can try and throw us off our game, but it’s just not possible. We are simply ready for anything and I definitely am!”

“Na Na Na” by My Chemical Romance plays as the crowd cheers as Sienna turns and looks at the entrance way, unimpressed as we see Cassidy Carter walk out from the back with Ace Marshall. Cassidy has a microphone in her hands as she just looks down at the ring and smirks and shakes her head.

Sharper: “Cassidy Carter and Ace Marshall now coming out. Sienna focused on Syren, but let’s not forget that Cassidy Carter has a World Title shot.”

Knots: “And tonight, Ace and Cassidy face Datura and Alexis Quinne in what’ll be a huge match.”

Cassidy looks down at the ring and smirks as her music fades out.

Cassidy: “Yeah, I figured since in four sentences you managed to make your case, we needed to save humanity from the ego suck happening in the ring.”

The crowd roars.

Cassidy: “And I should remind you that well…HI! I’m still here!”

The crowd cheers some more.

Cassidy: “And I don’t really care if its Syren or you, Sienna, who I face. I care about two things right now. One, that I get the shot I’m owed. And Two, that I win the God damn World Championship because trust me, it would be like winning a humanitarian award. Not having to listen to the two of you act like you’re God’s gift to anything. I don’t care about God. I don’t care about gifting. I just care about lining my pockets, winning gold and looking damn good doing it!”

Sienna rolls her eyes.

Sienna: “Well that’s a lovely sentiment Cassidy. But unfortunately, I don’t have time to waste on scrubs, but if Katya wants to do one good thing….or Sasha…or whoever is calling the shots. They can have you face me and I’ll quickly end all of this. Your delusions of ever taking this title.”

Ace shrugs and shakes his head. Cassidy just smiles.

Cassidy: “Well there aren’t any delusions here. All I see if I that I’m more real that anything in that ring except for many Ikiro. I don’t really know, or care, about him that much, but more consider this a friendly reminder…You can focus on Syren. But I’ve got my number one contendership. And whether Katya or Sasha or whoever makes the call. Sooner or later, you or Syren have to face me and I have plenty to take up with both of you. And I have plenty planned to do to your pretty faces, your beauty factory, whatever fantasies exist and anything else in between!”

Cassidy smiles.

Cassidy: “I plan to go scorched earth and all for that title around your waist!”

Sienna: “Good luck Cassidy. You’ll just find out that you’re not in my league…No one is!”

Cassidy smirks as “Na Na Na” by My Chemical Romance plays as Cassidy waves and turns, rolling her eyes and heads to the back. Ace salutes as he turns and walks off. Sienna rolls her eyes too and turns to the Truelove Twins. We then cut to the announce table to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots at ringside.

Sharper: “Cassidy Carter making sure Sienna Swann knows she’s there and watching and waiting and will get her title shot.”

Knots: “Katya better get the hint too. Sasha has already said Cassidy will get it, but with the power struggle, that’s up in the air. We do know that Syren has her shot in eleven days!”

Sharper: “And not just that, but we know that tonight, Cassidy Carter and Ace Marshall…”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as a promotional still of Ace Marshall & Cassidy Carter vs. Alexis Quinne & Datura comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “…will face Datura and Alexis Quinne. First time officially those two will team. And it will be a huge match here tonight.”

Knots: “But I’m looking at another one!”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as Regan Street vs. Ravyn Taylor comes up.

Knots: “…Ravyn Taylor. She may be meeting the end of her reign. Adrenaline Title on the line. Regan Street is coming for you!”

Sharper: “A match that Mr. D signed, even though we’ve not seen or heard from him other than that decision in over a month now. Along with that, we expect a lot of unique matches. One that I see and Jon, you need to be worried about…Kennedy Street, Owen Cruze and Chris Cannon all facing each other.”

The Breakdown logo comes up again and we see a shot of Chris Cannon vs. Kennedy Street vs. Owen Cruze up on the screen.

Knots: “Yeah, I don’t like this. Something is not okay there.”

Sharper: “Sasha and Katya both making matches for tonight. Both sides looking to limit the influence of the other. We may be starting 2019 with a night we’ll never forget!”

The scene opens up backstage to see Kandis walking backstage with Ryan Watson and Autumn Valentine.

Ryan: “And Kandis…welcome officially to SCW. Yer now in the big leagues.”

Kandis: “Looking forward to this. Plus, given that I’ve already got some attention. I’m already glad I made the shift.”

Autumn: “Well just remember, you’ve also come in on the right side.”

Kandis: “Thank Ryan for that.”

Ryan: “Gotta say I do know how to make a statement. And even if I got mi pro’lems, I aint gonna rock the boat.”

The three keep walking.

Autumn: “There is a bit of an issue and one you’ll have to come to terms with.”

Kandis: “Oh, Scarlet…already good. We worked fine on New Year’s Eve.”

Ryan: “Well-“

Ryan stops and turns as we see Ruby Amarant walk over on crutches with Scarlet Grey. Scarlet looks at Kandis and leans in.

Scarlet: “Going to be nice to get to know your better.”

Scarlet smiles and walks past before Ruby turns to Kandis.

Ruby: “Better carry your weight.”

Ruby turns and limps off after Scarlet. Autumn turns to Kandis. Kandis looks at them before looking at herself.

Kandis: “I look like can I carry a lot more than you.”

Kandis heads off as Ryan and Autumn watch her leave.

Sharper: “Kandis and Scarlet Grey will team up to face Team Desire 2.0, when Breakdown returns!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as backstage we see Sienna Swann, Ikiro Yoshida, London and Paris Truelove and Laura Steinbeck heading back to their locker room. LEO walks over to them as Sienna looks at him and then turns around.

Sienna: “Cassidy and Ace are facing Datura and Alexis Quinne tonight, aren’t they?”

London: “Yeah. I mean, I wouldn’t mind getting into that-“

Sienna: “No….I think I have something better. And something that can help convince Regan, we’re not the enemy.”

Sienna grabs the door of the locker room and goes inside. Ikiro turns to her.

Ikiro: “Whatever you want.”

Ikiro smiles as Sienna does too. LEO is next as Laura and the Truelove Twins follow. Sienna steps inside after as the door closes.

Team Desire 2.0 (Maddy & Gigi Steward) vs. Kandis & Scarlet Grey

“Chemicals React” blares from the speaker system throughout the arena. At the same time the lights dim with only a single bright pink spotlight shines towards and lights up the stage.
After a few more minutes of their entrance song has played, Giovanna and Madison Steward walk proudly and with confidence into the light. Dressed in matching wrestling attire and their Team Desire jackets, the girl stand perfectly still as several flashes catch their entrance. Gigi stands underneath the spotlight with the hood of her jacket covering her head. When she beings to blow kisses to the fans, Madison starts to motions with her arms raised and clapping over her head to the get the fans riled up and get them to show their support by screaming louder. The girls stop and pose for their fans giving them a few seconds for a quick photo session before continuing their way to the ring.

Phillips: “The opening contest tonight on SCW Breakdown is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, they are Gigi and Maddy Steward, Team Desire 2.0!”

Gigi runs and shows off her flexibility by springing up onto the the apron before steps through the ropes entering the ring. Maddy slides into the ring. Once both are inside the ring, the girls head to the opposing corners. Simultaneously, they both jump onto the middle rope. Gigi removes the hood of her jacket off her head and smiles at the audience. The team both throw their arms in the air and pose for the fans.

Sharper: “Gigi and Maddy Steward, friends of Sasha, who booked this match. She noticed the crooked referees that Katya hired for the End of the Year Open Invitational. Not just that, but also that Scarlet and Kandis seemed to benefit from it all.”

Knots: “Looks like Katya took a liking to Scarlet and well, Kandis, now with Autumn Valentine and Ryan Watson. Looks like she’s in good too.”

Sharper: “Kandis making her SCW official debut tonight.”

“Nymphetamine (Deva-Fix)” begins to play, and once the guitars kick in, the lights dim just enough for red and white lights to stand out as they sway across the stage. Out from the back saunters Scarlet Grey, a smirk on her lips as she purposely sways her hips, drawing the gaze of every fan in the arena as they are entranced by the mere sight of her walking down the ramp. Ruby steps out after her, walking gingerly with the help of crutches as she slowly limps down to the ring after Scarlet.

Phillips: “Their opponents, first, accompanied by Ruby Amarant, she is from parts unknown, Scarlet Grey!”

She slowly walks up the steps before stepping between the top and second ropes, taking her sweet time with it to show off her body. Ruby sets up at ringside. Once Scarlet’s in the ring she waits in the corner, eyes moving over to the referee trying to seduce him as Gigi and Maddy looks across.

Sharper: “Scarlet Grey out with Ruby Amarant who is still recovering from an ankle injury, suffered on the final Breakdown of last year.”

Knots: “I’d say that’s karma. Scarlet may not have learned anything though.”

The opening bass of "Baby Got Back" begins and Kandis steps out from the curtain, a sway in her step. The music cuts to a remixed version of the chorus, with added bass, and Kandis turns around to wiggle her bountiful rear end. Some of the males in the crowd cheer as Kandis turns back and starts down the ramp.

Phillips: “And her partner, from West Hollywood, California, she is Kandis!”

When Kandis gets to the ring steps, the line skips in the remix:

"My anaconda don't-- my anaconda don't-- my anaconda don't want none unless you got buns, hon!"

Kandis shakes her hips in time to the words, then steps through the ropes and slaps her ass right at the whip sound. The bass line continues as Kandis bounces on her feet a little, shaking all of her assets. She then enters the ring. Scarlet looks across at her as Kandis turns to her.

Sharper: “Kandis making her debut here on Breakdown.”

Knots: “Certainly can go in the ring and well, she has a tendency to draw your attention to her!”

Sharper: “Scarlet too. It’s an interesting team as one would even argue they have a lot in common. Not just their political allies in SCW.”

The bell sounds as Maddy starts off for Team Desire. Kandis walks over to Scarlet to talk and Scarlet leans in and whispers something to her before stepping out of the ring. Kandis just smirks as she turns back to Maddy. The two look at one another and then walk to each other before locking up in the middle of the ring. Kandis shoves Maddy back. Kandis then taunts Maddy as Maddy gets up and runs over and nails her with a forearm shot and then another. Kandis falls to the ropes and Maddy grabs her and goes to whip her across. Kandis spins through and sends Maddy in. Maddy bounces off and Kandis steps up only for Maddy to jump up and take her down with a Lou Thesz Press. The crowd roars. Maddy rolls over. Kandis turns and Maddy clubs her in the back and then again. She then grabs her and runs her into a neutral corner. She nails her with a forearm before backing up and moving to Gigi, tagging her in. Gigi enters and runs over and Maddy and Gigi kick Kandis in the ribs.

Sharper: “Gigi tagged in and Team Desire going after Kandis. Giving her an official welcome.”

Knots: “Just kicking away! Watch the ass! Watch the ass!”

The referee calls for a break. Maddy stops as Kandis drops down to the mat. Maddy exits the ring and Gigi grabs Kandis. She pulls her out and hits a vertical suplex. She turns and goes for the pin.

Kandis kicks out. Scarlet paces a bit as Kandis turn. She starts to get up and Gigi kicks her in the ribs before chopping her in the back. Kandis steps forward. Gigi grabs her and goes to whip her across the ring. Kandis spins through and sends Gigi in. Gigi bounces off and Kandis jumps up with a hip check to Gigi’s face.

Knots: “Ass to the face!”

Sharper: “Kandis getting some height and knocking Gigi down. Using what God gave her I guess.”

Kandis turns and hits a leg drop. Gigi rolls over. She holds her face and starts to get up and Kandis grabs her and snapmares her over before running into the ropes and bounces off and hitting a cannonball to Gigi. The crowd ohs and Kandis turns. She grabs Gigi and whips her across and into the corner with Scarlet before smiling and running at the corner, handspringing before hitting the Booty Call. Gigi collapses to the mat and Kandis tags in Scarlet. Enters as Gigi starts to slowly crawl out of the corner and promptly Scarlet hits a split-legged leg drop to the back of Gigi’s head, forcing her down. She then rolls her over for the pin.

Gigi kicks out. Scarlet looks down and grabs her and pulls her up before kneeing her in the ribs. She then forearms her in the jaw and then again. She pulls her out and hits a sitout facebuster. The crowd boos. Scarlet rolls her over and hooks the leg.

Maddy breaks it up as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “Scarlet driving Gigi down, but Maddy breaks up the pin.”

Knots: “And so far, Scarlet and Kandis are a decent team. Gigi in trouble and if she can’t tag, that’s that.”

Maddy backs up as Kandis looks in and Scarlet rolls over. She holds her back and then drags Gigi up. She hits a kick to her shin and Gigi winces. Scarlet nails her with a forearm shot and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and suddenly, Gigi runs forward and jumps up and hits a knee to the face of Scarlet. The crowd roars. Maddy jumps up and down and extends her hand. Gigi looks around and turns and rolls over. She takes a moment before lunging and tagging in Maddy. The crowd roars. Scarlet gets up and Maddy enters and runs over and takes Scarlet down with a flying headscissors. The crowds roars. Kandis enters and goes for a clothesline. Maddy ducks and turns and hits a dropkick to her ample posterior, knocking her forward and through the ropes. The crowd roars. Maddy turns and Scarlet gets up as Ruby glares at Kandis. Maddy then grabs Scarlet and hits a side belly to belly suplex. The crowd roars. Maddy turns and goes to the corner. Kandis slowly gets up on the floor.

Sharper: “Madison Steward has Scarlet in a bad way. Kandis down on the floor.”

Knots: “Stewards may take this one. Maddy on the top rope and thinking about leaping for the win!”

Maddy climbs up to the top rope. Kandis then jumps up and grabs Maddy and hooks her leg. Gigi gets up on the apron and runs over and nails Kandis in the back. Kandis falls off the apron and Gigi goes down with her. Scarlet then grabs Maddy and pulls her off the top rope by the hair, driving her into the mat face first. She rolls over and Scarlet rolls her up, hooking her legs.

The crowd boos. Scarlet rolls over and Maddy rolls over, holding her face. The referee raises her hand and Scarlet smiles. Ruby just looks on as Kandis rolls over on the floor. Gigi looks up and then turns and slides into the ring.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Scarlet Grey and Kandis!”

Scarlet smiles as “Nymphetamine (Deva-Fix)” plays. The boos continue.

Sharper: “Not the result Sasha would’ve wanted. Scarlet Grey picking up a win with Kandis in her Breakdown debut.”

Knots: “Looks like she’s moved on from Aaron and taking advantage of her new political situation!”

Ruby slowly makes her way around the ring as Scarlet exits the ring. Kandis stirs on the floor as we cut away.

Backstage, we see Owen Cruze, Chris Cannon and newcomer to SCW, Peyton Rice, backstage.

Owen: “Great to see you here and looking like you’re going to be starting off the new year with a bang.”

Peyton: “Debut next week against Goddard. Not sure what to think, but looking forward to it. Just hoping I can keep making Kelcey, you, Chris, proud.”

Chris: “You don’t need to worry about that. Don’t take this the wrong way, but the bar isn’t hard. Stay away from the people that you don’t need to get involved in.”

Peyton: “Katya? Dark Fantasy? After what she said-“

Chris: “I know what she said…it’s our issue. Trust me, you want to stay out of it.”

Owen: “She can figure that out on her own-“

Chris: “Trust me as someone who spent 2018 dealing with a lot of other crap than what’s in that ring…if you can stay out of it and focus on the in-ring while you establish yourself, it’ll be the best option-“

Just then, Chris and Owen turn as Peyton looks confused. The camera pans back to show Giovanni Aries standing there, looking at Chris and then Owen and then Peyton.

Giovanni: “A fresh one…”

Peyton: “Uh…”

Chris: “Leave her alone, mate.”

Giovanni: “She seems…clean…good. Keep her that way. There may be some hope.”

Giovanni turns to Owen. The two lock eyes.

Owen: “Don’t make me think there’s going to be a problem again.”

Giovanni: “No problem. Making sure that what you claim to fight for can take hold. The Lizard Kingdom evaporates…the wonderland returns. I will always be naturally skeptical though.”

Owen nods.

Owen: “Well either way…thanks about the EotY. Getting rid of those crooked refs.”

Giovanni: “The Lizard Kingdom will not gain ground with me on duty! Never again!”

Giovanni turns and walks by as Peyton watches him leave. Chris and Owen keep watching him as we cut away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown opens up backstage to see Spirit Dansby at the interview area.

Spirit: “Welcome back to Breakdown and-“

Lexy: “Hold it…hold it. Sorry, I need to come in here. James, Angelica…I know this is horribly unprofessional. Spirit shouldn’t be here.”

Spirit: “Wait what?”

Angelica and James can be seen as the camera turns to show them as Lexy Chapel walks into the scene.

Lexy: “Oh you didn’t here? Well you’re not needed tonight. They needed top tier announcers and well, since Shawn Winters drank himself out of a job and you pretty much have made it clear that you’re not pleased with much, they figured it best to just let you go.”

Spirit: “What?!”

Lexy: “Okay. Not let you go. Reassigned. I dunno, but either way, I’m here. They needed someone to take the interviews and do them as they should. So go off, kiss Sienna’s ass or-“

Spirit: “That’s what this is about? Because I have a friendship with Sienna Swann. You’re with Ravyn and Syren. CHBK is your dad and all that.”

Lexy: “Well yeah. Katya just is doing like it is for Syren. Making sure people get what they deserve. Now, speaking of deserving.”

Lexy turns to James and Angelica who look on unsure of what to do.

Lexy: “Do you two really think you deserve the 2018 Tag Team of the Year award, given you only really started in August? That’s like only under half the year!”

Angelica: “Excuse me…look, I’m not going to stand there and be disrespected by someone like you who is here because of who you know. And I may not get along with Sienna, but she doesn’t deserve this either.”

Lexy: “Oh good, you know the word. How do you feel about Marie nearly becoming World Champion and had a referee not taken it upon himself-“

Angelica: “Stop right there.”

Lexy: “Excuse me. Interrupting it rude.”

Angelica grabs the microphone. James steps in.

Angelica: “Don’t do something you’ll regret. Marie didn’t need to do what she started to do. She got frustrated. She could’ve been World Champion and that’s with me knowing just how good Sienna is. I know how good Marie is. But her attitude as of late cost her and now, Syren has her shot at Sienna, as I’m sure she wanted.”

Lexy: “She would’ve faced whoever the champion is.”

Angelica: “Well, Syren and Sienna can have their fight. But tells Katya that I’m watching very closely what happens with my daughter. And as for us as the Tag Team Champions. You want to say something James?”

James turns to Angelica and then to Lexy.

James: “We’re ready for anyone. I don’t need to say more than that. Whether it’s Andrew and Bree. Whether it’s someone else and if someone doubts we deserve that trophy, we’ll happily try and prove them wrong. This is our redemption. Our fight to the top. And we reached that goal. In 2019, we’re just getting started.”

Angelica shoves the microphone back at Lexy as Angelica and James walk off. Lexy turns as Spirit looks at her.

Spirit: “Good job hot shot.”

Spirit walks off as we cut away.

Casterillo in action

Generic music that sounds like it was produced in a tin can from another era. Del Oro steps out from the back, waving about a glittering cape. A long, grimy oiled beard slips out from underneath his gold and black luchador.

Phillips: “The following match, scheduled for one fall… introducing first, from South of the Border, DEL ORO!”

Sharper: “A light pop for a man who has spent the past fifteen years wrestling in this city.”

Knots: “Look at how he is smiling? He has no idea what’s in store for him.”

The entire arena suddenly goes black and stays that way for about 10 seconds, making the crowd begin to think that nothing is going to happen. That is until 1 solitary lightning strike strikes on the big screen. This leads right to the beginning of "Seven Devils" by Florence & The Machine. The music plays even though the arena stays dark. It is about 10 more seconds before suddenly the lights turn on, with the dark figure of Casterillo standing right in the center of the ring, with a blank look in his eyes.

Knots: “He’s angry, Adam. I know he’s angry.”

Sharper: “Castillo is very upset about the loss to Damian Angel on the last Breakdown of 2018 from my sources. I don’t know how you can tell. He always look like this. I can’t tell any difference.”

Knots: “I can just sense it. The anger is just oozing from Casterillo.”

Del Oro steps forward only for a handshake but Casterillo steamrolls him with a clothesline. Del Oro bounces off the canvas and rolls to his feet. He pops up and he comes at Casterillo, swinging chops to the chest. Shouts occur at each chop, Casterillo stares at him as he absorbs the chops. As a result, the crowd’s response to the chops dies right out. Casterillo grabs Del by the shoulders and tosses him across the ring into the turnbuckle. Del bounces down and rolls up into a ball as Casterillo begins to stomp down onto him.

Sharper: “Oro is not able to withstand the beating being perpetuated by Casterillo.”

Knots: “He stands no chance. Who booked this match?”

Sharper: “The crowd is hoping for Oro to pull off the upset but Casterillo seems hell bent on destruction.”

Casterillo grabs Del Oro by the neck and shoulder and lifts him up into a military style press. He doesn’t hold Del up long for the display, instead letting Oro drop on the other side the ropes and down onto the floor. Del yells in pain, holding himself as Casterillo deliberately steps outside and walks down the steps. He stares down Del as the man clings onto the ring apron in attempt to climb onto his feet.

Knots: “Did Del Oro upset the powers above? I think he might be murdered here. I told you he’s angry.”

Sharper: “Damian Angel might have to start thinking if Casterillo is going to target him if he’s this angry with how things have gone between the two of them.”

Del gets onto one leg and one knee, and Casterillo comes running the full length of the side to shoulder tackle him. Oro is launched up and over the steel steps and comes crashing down onto the other side. The referee has started counting, is already up to three. Casterillo stands over Del and stares down to him.

Sharper: “Casterillo launched Oro high into the air and into those steel steps. If you’re the referee, you have to start thinking about calling it.”

Knots: “Do you want to tell Casterillo he needs to stop? Be my guest.”

Del is lifted off the floor by the neck and waistline and slid into the ring. Casterillo steps up onto the apron. Del in an amazing display of resilience bounces up onto his feet. He charges towards Casterillo who is vulnerable on the apron but Casterillo catches him with an eblow to the face. Del stumbles backwards as Casterillo steps in. Casterillo comes running from one and back. Del turns around and is ran through with a spear. Casterillo sits up to stare down and the referee pleads for Casterillo to go for the pin.

Knots: “The referee is hoping this is enough, for Casterillo to end the match, but he’s not done taking out his frustration.”

Sharper: “The referee should be concerned about the poor man’s livelihood. He’s obviously no match to Casterillo and keeping him in this match is just wrong.”

Casterillo reaches down and grabs the man by the throat. He lifts Del Oro onto his feet and then up onto his shoulder. Trial By Fire is delivered in the center of the ring and Casterillo stands. He puts his boot down onto the man’s chest and the referee counts:

Casterillo lifts his boot and begins instead stomping down onto his chest to the chastisement of referee.

Sharper: “When will it be enough? This poor man isn’t Damian Angel! He didn’t do anything to deserve this beat down.”

Knots: “I don’t think Casterillo cares!”

Casterillo once again pulls Del to his feet, and by this point, it is visible that Del is more a ragdoll than a man at this point. He steps up to the man, and looks around at the crowd, with a look, daring someone to stop him. Casterillo delivers the Holy Water! He goes for the pin:

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Casterillo!”

Knots: “Someone checks that poor man’s vitals. I think Casterillo just murdered him.”

Sharper: “Tonight I think we just saw a sample of the anger that Casterillo possess inside.”

Casterillo slowly gets up and looks down at his victim. The referee goes to raise his arm, but Casterillo pulls away. He then turns and walks over to the ropes and steps through to the floor. He then starts to head to the back, looking forward coldly as we cut away.

Breakdown opens up backstage as we see Christy Matthews walking into the building. The crowd roars seeing her.

Sharper: “Wait a minute. Christy’s here. She was escorted out on the last Breakdown of the year last year.”

Knots: “She grew up near here. So I guess she’s in the area!”

Security heads over to her. Christy scoffs.

Christy: “We’re going to do this again. At least this time, I didn’t head too far!”

Security: “I’m sorry-“

Christy: “Don’t say sorry. Instead, send a message. To Katya, to Sasha, to whomever will listen. I’m not going away. I’m happy to collect a paycheque to put in my child’s college fund, but I’m far from done with Ravyn Taylor. This is getting pathetic. So give me one match and that’s it. I don’t even care if the Adrenaline Title is on the line…if she still has it.”

Christy then turns and goes to walk off before she continues out of the building. The crowd roars a bit as the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Marie Jones in one of the locker rooms for Dark Fantasy and see Kim Williams walking over and wearing what appears to be her t-shirt, but only “I want to grope” being seen as Marie turns and grabs the shirt.

Marie: “Kim! You can’t wear that!”

Kim: “Why not? I gotta get paid!”

Marie: “Katya!”

Kim: “Where? I’ll take her out-“

Marie: “Kim…seriously!”

Kim: “Fine…she’s touchy about her dad. Geez. Happy family and all.”

Kim just takes off her shirt and throws it over before sitting down in her bra.

Marie: “I’m happy you’re with me, but this isn’t EMERGE. And Katya sees something in me. She’s giving me opportunities. Opportunities I’ve earned.”

Kim: “Yeah, yeah, I get it. I want it to work, just…something about it, I don’t like.”

The door opens as Casterillo storms into the room. Kim mockingly makes a gruff look as Casterillo walks right past them and over toward his bags as he grabs them.

Casterillo: “Tell Katya that-“

Katya enters the room at this point and Casterillo turns to her.

Casterillo: “I hope you got my message.”

Katya: “Of course. I’ll get it booked. Give you Damian at Making Things Right. You can live up to the name.”

Casterillo: “Good.”

Casterillo just leaves as Kim and Marie watch Casterillo leave as we then see Syren and Ravyn Taylor walk into the room.

Katya: “He’s a lively one.”

Ravyn: “Doesn’t matter as long as he’s dangerous.”

Katya: “And keeps Damian out of our hair.”

Syren: “Now just have to deal with other people.”

Katya: “Yes…Marie….Kim…care to join us.”

Kim gets up and gives a salute. Marie hits her.

Kim: “What?”

Marie: “Don’t mind her.”

Kim: “So Katya, you taking us out for a drink?”

Marie lowers her head stunned as we cut away.

Alistaire Allocco vs. Donovan Kayl

A timer begins to run on the screen, counting down from five to one. A momentarily pause in darkness as “Fire It Up” by Thousand Foot Krutch begins to play, as the song begins to pick up into full swing, a quick line of pyrotechnics goes off, running down across the length of the stage. Through the smoke, out pops Alistaire Allocco, with both arms raised as if in presumptive victory. He marches down the ramp with his harms still held high. Alistaire doesn’t even give the crowd any attention as he heads straight towards the bottom of the ring steps. There he pauses, dropping both his arms. He rotates his torso a few times, swinging his shoulders, before he runs up the steps and across the ring apron. He steps inside, lifting a finger into the air, pointing to the sky as he stands there in the middle of the ring. His music dies as he continues to stand front and center.

Sharper: “The next match up will pit present and future against the past, so to speak.”

Knots: “They were stable of the year so I guess we can still talk about them.”

Sharper: “Not what I meant at all.”

“Tom Sawyer” by Rush starts to play as the spotlight focuses on the top of the ramp. Immediately, the crowd rise to their feet in a raucous ovation.

Sharper: “Alistaire Allocco waiting in the ring for his opponent, a multiple time champion, a true champion in every sense of the word…Donovan Kayl.”

Stepping out to the top of the ramp is "The Cornerstone" Donovan Kayl. He steps to the side, facing out to the crowd. As he stands atop the ramp, he throws his arm out with each big note of the beginning musical portion. After turning his head to survey the entire crowd, he turns to face the front of the ramp, beginning to walk out towards the ring. Kayl keeps his eyes focused on the ring ahead, and with a stoic gaze in his eyes, slaps the hands of a few fans at ringside. Once he gets to the bottom of the ramp, Donovan pulls himself up onto the apron, walking over to the corner. He climbs up onto the second rope, looking out over the crowd, until the next lines hit. Kayl throws his arms up for the roaring crowd, shouting out something that's just impossible to hear outside of the first couple of rows nearby. He hops the top rope into the ring, moving to the middle where he spins once, dropping to a knee and shooting his arms out. He drops his head as the crowd showers the ring with streamers, cascading down around him as he looks at the ring under his knee before raising his head upward slowly.

The ref calls for the bell and both men step to the center of the ring, locking up in a test of strength. Allocco pushes Kayl towards the ropes, but Kayl plants his feet then manages to lock Allocco in a side headlock.

Allocco plants his feet before locking his arms around Kayl’s waist, slowly proceeding to lift him up for a suplex, but Kayl breaks the side headlock then begins to press down on Allocco’s hands and wrists. Allocco breaks the hold and lands a shot to the lower back. Kayl steps forward then lands a spinning back elbow to the jaw. Allocco staggers away and rubs his jaw before looking at Kayl who smirks and nods, looking for another tie up.

Sharper: “Both men trying to gain an advantage in the opening moments of this match, but right now they are evenly matched.”

Knots: “Allocco is a hell of a grappler, but Kayl has been doing this a very long time.”

Allocco locks up with Kayl, who quickly sinks in a side headlock once more. Allocco tries to break free, but Kayl swings him over with Allocco landing on the mat. Kayl transitions into a cross face hold.

Sharper: “Smooth transition from the Cornerstone.”

Allocco swings his legs and manages to roll Kayl over onto his back while he maintains the cross face. The ref counts.

Kayl kicks out, breaking the submission. Both men get to their feet at the same time. Allocco charges, but Kayl leaps up and connects with a standing dropkick. Allocco hits the mat before scrambling to his feet. Kayl meets him with a set of forearms to the side of the head, before hooking Allocco and going for a vertical suplex but Allocco floats over, landing on his feet. Kayl turns and Allocco hooks him before planting Kayl with a vertical suplex of his own.

Allocco gets to his feet and grabs Kayl off of the mat. Allocco hits a set of forearms of his own, before whipping Kayl into the ropes. Allocco charges going for a clothesline but Kayl dunks under. Kayl hits the ropes and fires away with a flying forearm, taking Allocco off of his feet. Kayl then hooks the leg.

Allocco kicks out.

Sharper: “Both men fighting hard to gain the upper hand, but neither have been able to sustain it.”

Kayl gets to his feet and grabs Allocco before whipping him into the corner. Kayl connects with a running clothesline. Kayl then begins to deliver knife edge chops to the chest of Allocco.

Knots: “Kayl with those chops! Lighting Baby Allocco’s chest up like the 4th of July!”

Kayl then grabs Allocco and lifts him onto the top rope. Kayl climbs up with him and hooks him. Allocco begins landing shots to Kayl’s ribs. Kayl then delivers a headbutt, before hooking Allocco again.

Sharper: “Both men on the top rope, jockeying for position here. Allocco with more shots to the ribs.”

Allocco lands a few more punches to the ribs. Kayl breaks his hold as Allocco stands, hooking Kayl before floating over, driving Kayl to the mat with a power bomb. Allocco goes for the cover.

Kayl shoots the shoulder up! Allocco quickly locks in a side headlock of his own. Kayl gets to one knee, but Allocco drops to his knee, cranking on the neck. Kayl tries to break the hold, grabbing at Allocco’s hands, but is unable to.

Sharper: “Kayl working to recover after the powerbomb, but it appears Alistaire is in firm control at the moment.”

Kayl lands shots to the body, until Allocco breaks hold. Kayl then grabs Allocco and takes him down with a belly to back suplex. Allocco hits the mat as Kayl then gets to his feet. Allocco slowly pushes himself up. He turns just as Kayl goes for a superkick, but Allocco catches it before transitions into an ankle lock.

Sharper: “Kayl went for the superkick, but Allocco surprised us all I believe with that ankle lock.”

Kayl is shown reaching for the ropes, but Allocco drops to one knee and begins twisting the ankle. Kayl is shown grinding his teeth due to the pain as he reaches for the ropes once more.

Knots: “Kayl reaching for the ropes, but he’s nowhere close. He’s going to have to figure something else out if he wants this match to continue.”

Kayl presses his hands into the mat as Allocco maintains the hold. Kayl then kicks up with his free leg, breaking the hold, causing Allocco to fall forward. Kayl gets to his feet, taking weight off of his ankle. Allocco gets to his feet and turns, only for Kayl to connect with the superkick. Allocco hits the mat and Kayl grabs his ankle for a moment before reaching over and covering for the pin.

Allocco kicks out. Kayl grabs Allocco off of the mat. Kayl lands an European uppercut, staggering Allocco. Kayl then goes for a clothesline, but Allocco dunks under, grabs Kayl and drops him with a reverse DDT. Allocco slowly pushes himself to his feet and motions for Kayl to get up.

Sharper: “Allocco managing to drop Kayl and now he is stalking the multiple time World Champion.”

Kayl slowly pushes himself up off of the mat, getting to one knee and Allocco explodes off of the ropes, landing with a superkick to the side of the head. Kayl falls back to the mat as Allocco drops down and hooks the leg.

Knots: “Sins of the Father! Superkick to the side of the head. Is it enough to put Kayl away?”

The ref calls for the bell as Allocco sits up as the crowd begins to boo.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Alistaire Allocco!”

Sharper: “A hard fought match with Allocco managing to pull off the win here tonight.”

Knots: “He did what he wanted to do. Show what he can do in that ring.”

Allocco gets up and has his arm raised. He smiles proudly as he looks around. The crowd continues to boo before we cut backstage.

Backstage, Sasha can be seen talking to Aaron Blackbourne who is seated on a storage crate. Liane Forte stands with him.

Sasha: “Look, after everything, you reminded us all at the End of the Year Special why you were signed a year ago. I’m sorry you had to go through all that.”

Aaron: “No need to be sorry, at least from your end. Katya’s the one who allowed it, came up with the idea, fed into it. I’m just happy it’s over and being in the ring on New Year’s Eve, even if I didn’t win it, felt far too good.”

Sasha: “Well hopefully we can get back to you doing what you do in that ring. I don’t know what yet, but we’re not going to be keeping you off shows anymore. This is done. Scarlet seems to have moved on and well, there’s a whole bit of business there. But you…you deserve better and you will be competing at Making Things Right in some way. Make 2019 your year.”

Aaron: “Thank you. I appreciate it.”

Sasha: “Can’t wait to see what your creativity comes up with.”

Liane smiles as Aaron nods.

Sharper: “While Katya puts her stamp on things, Sasha seems to be trying to make sure some of those wronged realize she’s got their back!”

Knots: “Yeah, but I want to see what happens in the ring. This family rift is just out of control!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Alistaire Allocco walking backstage proudly. He takes a few more steps before walking over to Glory Braddock who is talking to someone backstage. Alistaire stops and clears his throat. Glory sighs and turns around and looks at Alistaire as the person she was talking with waits patiently.

Alistaire: “Did you see that fantastic display of wrestling sportsmanship and competition? I hope you learned something.”

Glory: “Well, I mean it would be hard not to, but apparently nothing stuck. Maybe I need to see what you can do in the ring, and not in some sort of demonstration.”

Alistaire: “Please. I’m not sure you could even handle that. I’ve heard of your accolades but-“

Glory: “I promise I will wrestle the match as cleanly as you demand. Let’s see whether I can learn a few new tricks, how does that sound?”

Alistaire: “Perfect.”

Alistaire extends his hand. Glory looks at it and shakes it.

Alistaire: “Be prepared to be schooled.”

Alistaire turns and walks off as Glory scoffs and shakes her head before turning to the person she was talking to.

Glory: “Looks like you’re the one who needs to be schooled.”

The scene cuts away.

Marie Jones & Kimberly Williams vs. The Brotherhood of the Sith

The arena goes dark and strobe lights pulse through the arena as "Through Struggle" hits the speakers. The crowd erupts into raucous boos as the lights dim around the entrance ramp, smoke begins to rise. After the intro kicks in, the lights start flashing as the smoke gets thicker, after a few moments we see Andrew Raynes and Dustin Adams appear through the smoke, their eyes shifted towards the ring, focused, cold stares. They stand there for a few seconds still looking around, before making their way down the ramp, ignoring the fans.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are Andrew Raynes and Dustin Adams, the Brotherhood of the Sith!”

Adams enters the ring using the rings steps, as Raynes slides in under the bottom rope. They then climb opposite corners and jaw with the crowd before regrouping in the center of the ring, glaring at the entrance ramp.

Sharper: “Andrew Raynes and Dustin Adams about to be in action against Marie Jones and Kim Williams and there’s a lot of history between Raynes and Marie, but this is also something I’m sure he wishes he was past of.”

Knots: “He was a Tag Team Title shot.”

Sharper: “And specifically with Bree. The issue is that Bree is now facing Selena and Katya and Sasha, neither are particularly motivated to give someone like Andrew Raynes who despite winning the Male Wrestler of the Year and Star of Tomorrow awards for 2018, has a significant attitude and anger issue.”

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. “Haunted” by Taylor Swift begins to play as the crowd boos. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena. Kimberly Williams then walks out with her and looks around as a roar comes from the crowd. She then winks at the crowd as Marie refocuses her to the ring. The two head to the ring. Kim even fist bumps one fan behind Marie’s back.

Phillips: “And their opponents, they are Kimberly Williams and Marie Jones!”

Marie reaches the ring and hops onto the apron, looking in. Kimberly slides right in and gets up. She turns and looks at Andrew and waves at him. Andrew steps forward as the official holds him back as does Adams. Marie enters and poses a bit, watching Andrew as Kimberly guards her. She then backs up as the music fades out.

Sharper: “Kim Williams could be the X-Factor.”

Knots: “Already annoying Katya a bit. Marie trying to keep her under control. Good luck.”

Sharper: “Given that at the End of the Year Open Invitational, she was hitting people with a sack of weapons and skipping around the ring. I think that says it all!”

The bell sounds and Kim immediately turns and hits a dropkick to Andrew. Andrew falls back and through the ropes to the floor. The crowd roars. Kim turns and Dustin nails her in the back before pulling her up and Marie runs over and kicks Adams in the back of the leg and then again and finally a third time and Adams turns. He grabs Marie and Kim gets up and starts to bite his arm. Adams turns to her and Kim waves at him. He throws her off. Kim rolls through and Marie jumps up and hits an enziguri kick to the head. Adams falls over and Marie pushes him down to the mat. She goes for the pin.

Andrew pulls her out to the floor. Marie turns. (1) Andrew then spins her and drives her face first into the top of the announce table. Marie falls over. The referee tells Andrew to get her in as Andrew just ignores him and pulls her up.

Sharper: “Andrew enraged here early. Going after Marie.”

Knots: “Maybe thinks he has Kim. It’s possible. They’re damn near identical if not that!”

Kim rolls to the apron and Andrew grabs Marie and drives her face first into the top of the table again. Marie falls over. Kim dives off and hits a straight kick to the head and Andrew rolls over to the floor. (1) Kim then turns and helps Marie as Dustin moves to the floor. He grabs both and drives their heads into one another. Kim falls over and Dustin grabs Marie and turns and rolls her into the ring. Dustin slides in after. Marie rolls over and starts to get up and Dustin runs over and clubs her hard in the back. She collapses to the mat. She rolls over and stirs and Dustin pulls her up before nailing her in the ribs with a hard right. He then grabs her and turns and throws her into the corner. Adams follows up with a shoulder threat to the ribs and then a second one. He backs up as Marie falls out, holding her ribs in pain. Kim staggers around and to her corner as Andrew recovers.

Sharper: “Adams and Raynes now in control as they’ve managed to get through this chaos that Marie and Kim started.”

Knots: “And they’re going after Marie and make sure she knows it.”

Adams then grabs Marie and lifts her up and hits sidewalk slam. He pulls back on the legs.

Marie kicks out. Adams turns and tags in Andrew. Andrew Raynes enters and runs over and stomps Marie in the face and then again before Marie rolls over. Andrew grabs her and places her on the ropes and starts to choke her. The crowd looks on as Kim starts to get up on the apron.

Kim then runs over and hits a running high knee to the head of Andrew. Kim shrugs and spins around and moves to the corner. She reaches out and goes to pull Marie over, but the referee reprimands her. Kim pouts and turns around, sticking her ass out.

Kim: “Want to spank me then?”

The official backs up as Marie starts to pull herself up. Andrew, annoyed, turns back and goes to grab at Kim, but Marie suddenly jumps to the middle rope and backflips back, hooking his head and hitting a reverse DDT.

Sharper: “Marie taking advantage of Kim’s involvement again.”

Knots: “Yeah. She’s a completely different for Andrew. Marie was more by the book, until this Katya business. Kim doesn’t care.”

Sharper: “And doing all she can to help Marie.”

Knots: “At least she didn’t get the spanking!”

Marie turns and tags in Kim. The crowd cheers and Kim runs over and hits a running elbow drop. She gets up and runs across and nails Dustin with a shot to the jaw. She backs up and Dustin enters. Kim turns back as Andrew starts to get up and she stomps his hand and then kicks him in the chest and jumps up and hits a scissors kick. Dustin is forced back and Kim goes for the pin.

Raynes kicks out. Kim gets up as Raynes stirs and Kim nails him with a forearm shot and then another. She grabs him and goes to whip him across. Raynes spins through and sends her in. Kim bounces off and Raynes ducks a clothesline, runs into the ropes and hits the Code of the Sith. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Code of the Sith. Andrew Raynes catching Kim right under the jaw!”

Knots: “Got up and made sure she felt that one.”

Raynes turns and hooks the leg.

Kim kicks out. Andrew grabs her by the hair and pulls her up and Kim reaches out and goes for his eyes. Andrew knees her in the ribs first and then turns and runs her into the ropes. She bounces off and Andrew knees her in the ribs. He then just drives her face first into her knee. Andrew then turns and nails Marie with a hard right, leading to roars from the crowd. Andrew just smirks as Marie goes down. Kim sees this and Andrew turns around and Kim spears him back into the corner, fighting through. She shoulders thrusts him again and then. She then grabs him and goes to whip him across, but Andrew stops at the corner. He turns and tags in Adams. Andrew turns and runs at Kim and clotheslines her down. He then runs at the ropes and dives through, taking Marie down. The crowd roars. Adams then walks over and grabs Kim. He pulls her up and scoops her up, going for a fallaway slam. The crowd boos and Adams goes for the pin.

Kim gets her shoulder up. Adams looks down and smirks. He then grabs her by the hair as Marie and Andrew stir on the floor. Andrew holds his ribs a bit.

Sharper: “Adams planting Kim, but Kim fighting.”

Knots: “Fans getting behind Kim. She’s pretty much just in this because she wants to do good for her sister. Maybe she should convince her Katya’s not the way!”

Andrew gets up and Adams pulls Kim up and knees her in the ribs. He then whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Adams goes to scoop her up and Kim spins through and flips off his back to her feet. She falls into the ropes and bounces off and before Adams can find where she is, she jumps up and hits the Shadowblade. Andrew goes to enter, but Marie pulls him out and then rakes his eyes. Kim dives onto Adams and pulls on the leg.

The crowd roars as some then boo. Kim rolls over and Adams pushes her off and turns, holding his jaw. Kim rolls out of the ring.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Marie Jones and Kimberly Williams!”

Adams turns as Marie walks around and looks at Andrew. Andrew holds his eyes and seethes as he then steps forward and leans against the ring.

Sharper: “Kim caught Dustin Adams under the jaw! Shadowblade gets the win. Twin Magic winning tonight.”

Knots: “Marie’s happy. Kim is too. Looks like Kim’s going to fit in fine here. Just wish it was under different circumstances!”

Sharper: “Meanwhile, Andrew Raynes as he continues to be uncertain about what is in his future thanks to the politics at play, he only has more reason to be angry. Not the start to 2019 he wanted after being named the Star of Tomorrow and Male Wrestler of 2018!”

Kim backs up as Marie raises her arm. Kim smirks and the two back up the rampway as we then cut away.

Backstage we see Lexy Chapel outside of the locker room of Dark Fantasy. The crowd boos.

Lexy: “Ladies and gentlemen, your NEXT World Champion…Syren!”

The crowd boos loudly as Syren steps into view and looks around. Lexy turns to her.

Lexy: “Now we know you’ll finally get the long awaited title match you’ve deserved for nearly a year. And against someone else who thinks they’re better than you, but really isn’t. So let us know how great it feels that you’re finally going to get what is yours back?”

Syren chuckles a bit.

Syren: “Well finally we’ll have a champion who lives up to that moniker. I’m not here talking about how some of Sienna and her ilk have talked about making the championship more because everyone wants to beat them. Trust me, I’ve had that without the title for years and people damn sure respect me. See, all this does is finally end this farce that is me not holding the title that essentially is synonymous with me. Jason Zero. He’s gone. CHBK, a legend. Me…I’ve won it more times than him and I will continue to add to that legacy in eleven days when I beat Sienna Swann. Her time on top was special. She got some accolades. Got some people noticing her. Now she can go back and return to the fashion world while I stand tall as the rightful champion, holding MY title.”

The crowd boos.

Syren: “Everyone can then be totally jealous and then I’ll take care of Cassidy Carter. I’ll take care of anyone else who may be put in my way and SCW can finally take solace in the fact that things have been made right!”

???: “Oh what’s that? You’ll take care of me after…How nice!”

Syren turns and we see Cassidy Carter suddenly jumping into the scene and nailing Syren with a hard right hand. Syren falls back. The crowd roars and cheers as Cassidy backs up.

Cassidy: “Sorry. Had to get that out! I don’t know who’s ass I want to beat more for the title.”

Cassidy backs up as Ace comes into view as Syren starts to get up, with Lexy’s help as the scene fades out.

Backstage we see Angelica Jones and James Evans backstage as Angelica sighs and sits down on one of the storage crates.

Angelica: “Sorry about earlier.”

James: “Don’t be. She was out of line. And well…someone needed to put her in her place.”

Angelica: “Just all of this with Marie…with Katya…She’s better than that and she forgets that. Now with Kim…”

James: “She’ll have to figure it out. But for us, we need to focus on our titles. And for better or worse, what you did earlier, I’m sure our titles are on Katya’s radar. Probably for weeks. Maybe Sasha has something in mind. I don’t even know.”

Angelica: “Oh I know Katya has to have something in mind. Had to after the match with Sienna.”

James: “Then we just make her regret that decision. People who don’t think we earned the award. We prove it.”

Angelica: “Or we could follow the crazy person.”

James: “Wait…what?”

Angelica points over as we see Giovanni Aries walking over. He takes a draw of his cigarette.

Giovanni: “Plan to take a stand against the Lizard Princess…”

James: “Look, I’m not looking to cause trouble with her father. Without him, I’d not be here.”

Giovanni looks at James and eyes him.

Giovanni: “I said Lizard Princess…I can work against the rest.”

Angelica looks at James as the scene cuts away.

We see a sudden flashing news-like logo flash on the screen with triumphant music as “KNN” appears on the screen before we hear an audible “KABLAM!” The scene cuts to then show Chesty Larue at the KNN news desk.

Chesty: “Hello and welcome to the Kablam News Network Update. I’m Chesty Larue.”

She turns to the main camera.

Chesty: “BIG update on the RISING demand for the Very Kablam Christmas! Setting new records in the cold, HARD cash it is bringing into the KABLAMpire, it’s led many to believe that a newer, BIGGER and more SATISFYING project. Rumour has it that Derek, Cookie and other KABLAMpire executions made a LONG trip down to a certain island, known for hosting a bevy of beauties.”

We then cut to show Derek Adonis, fanning himself, while wearing a Hawaiian shirt. Cookie meanwhile is wearing an unnecessarily revealing bikini.

Cookie: “This is totally where they were.”

Derek: “Well it’s hot and well…”

Cookie: “It’s fine. Do you need me to help cool you off?”

Derek looks around.

Derek: “Ahem…in a moment, I think I see someone.”

Derek then heads over to a brunette, wearing a bikini. She’s having her picture taken, but by cellphone.

Derek: “Jennifer Helms-“

The woman turns as Derek walks right over. She turns.

Photo taking man: “Yo, what the hell? We’re just taking a picture. You walked right in the way.”

Derek: “My mistake. I thought this beautiful, enchanting woman was someone else. We are looking for a bevy of beauties to be a part of my new tv show.”

Woman: “TV show? Like you’re a casting agent?”

Cookie: “No, no…I’m the casting agent.”

Cookie bounces.

Derek: “I’m the director and producer. You may have heard of me. I wrote the HIGHLY successful KABLAMA sutra, now in ancient greek.”

Derek suddenly produces a copy. We don’t know from where. The woman takes it.

Derek: “You know, you could pass off for the high quality talent. I can see our rises RISE…KABLAM!...Sorry…rise with you part of it.”

Man: “Hey! She’s my girlfriend.”

Cookie produces a card, we don’t know from where either, and hands it to the woman.

Cookie: “Get it touch. Maybe we can even help your friend with his anger!”

The man looks stunned as Derek smiles.

Derek: “And I can help with hands-on counselling, KABLAM…with your consent, of course.”

The woman continues to think about it before we cut back to the news desk and Chesty Larue.

Chesty: “That’s right. The KABLAM Island will be coming to a network near you. You won’t be able to contain your joy as you EXPLODE with pleasure, just as our contestants do. And this is it for our Kablam News Network Update. Making things HARD COME easier….”

Chesty smiles before we then hear another “KABLAM!” from off camera and the KNN logo comes up on the screen.

Tommy Valentine vs. Derek Adonis

SCW Television Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the SCW Television Championship!”

The arena's lights cut out completely, plunging the whole room into darkness for several seconds before the screens light up to display a countdown.

The screens show static for a few seconds before going dark once more. The black screen starts to pulse now like a heartbeat and on each pulse that reverberates round the arena, a shot of Thomas in various poses is shown before reverting to the blackness until the next pulse that sounds like a bass drum beat with increasing volume until a final shot of him holding the SCW Title aloft after winning the match at Taking Hold Of The Flame is Shown and remains until two green fireworks shoot from the rafters and explode on the ramp. The explosion drifts across the ramp before the beginning chords to "Cut The Cord" by Shinedown, hits. A shadowed figure can be seen standing in front of the curtain at the top of the ramp.

"FREE-DOM LALALALA FREE-DOM FOLLOW ME!"

As the last word echoes, the lights start to strobe again briefly as the song reverberates throughout the arena now.

Phillips: “Introducing first, the challenger. From Raleigh, North Carolina... he is Thomas Valentine!”

The lights finally flicker back on and Thomas Valentine can now be seen on top of the arena's ramp. He stops and smiles a little before spinning around away from the fans and holding his arms outwards with his palms upwards, he then stops and then shakes his head before smirking and shrugging. Fireworks then shoot out at the top of the ramp in a burst before he resumes walking down to the ring. He slides underneath the ropes and immediately runs to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle, simply nodding at the cheering crowd. He hops down as the music fades and goes to a corner to await his opponent.

Sharper: “For the first time in a long time, the Television Championship challenger did not win an eliminator match to earn their shot. Instead, Sasha D was impressed by his last showing against Angelica Jones and granted him this opportunity.”

Knots: “And people call Katya biased! Look at Sasha, just handing out title shots like candy at Halloween! Want proof? Next week Dawn Lohan gets the next shot at whoever wins here.”

Sharper: “Both Valentine and Lohan deserve it, perhaps this is just one of a few changes that have been made with Mr. D's absence.”

KABLAAAAAAAAAAM!!!

The opening horns of “Weird Al” Yankovic’s “Wanna B Ur Lovr” begin to play out over the crowd, meaning the crowd is about to be “graced” by the presence of a living love machine – the man known as Derek Adonis!

And there he is! Stepping out amidst spotlights of every colour of the rainbow alongside Cookie and Manvel, the man’s outfit radiates light against a few blacklights slipped in, and he is completely oblivious to his detractors, basking in the glow of the spotlight as he begins his sensual stride towards the ring. The SCW Television Championship is around his waist.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by Manvel and Cookie, from Las Vegas, Nevada, he is the SCW Television Champion, Man Mountain, Derek Adonis!”

Adonis heads down to the ring as Cookie holds up a copy of the KABLAMA Sutra, while Manvel points at the book. The crowd cheers as Adonis looks around and points to a few females in the crowd. He then heads to the steel steps. As the chorus comes around, Adonis steps up the steps, taking each step with added emphasis. He gets onto the apron and after winking at a particularly friendly female, pulls himself through the ropes. He gyrates just a little bit in the ring as his music fades. Tommy looks at him, shaking his head as Adonis takes off his Television Championship. The official takes it and holds it over his head. The crowd roars as the SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Adonis accompanied as usual by his Kablamasutra cohorts, Cookie and Manvel.”

Knots: “Oh look, Cookie gave the book to a man in the front row. He looks like he needs it.”

The crowd cheers as Manvel slaps the lucky recipient on the shoulder. Adonis claps in their direction then turns back towards the ring. Tommy is still shaking his head as the bell rings. Adonis rotates his hips a little, drawing cheers, a few groans mixed in. Tommy makes a face of exasperation and when Adonis turns his back to face the crowd, Tommy runs up behind him and drills a double axe-handle right between the shoulder blades. Adonis stumbles forwards as the crowd oohs. Tommy grabs Adonis' shoulder and spins him around. Adonis swings with a punch as he turns. Tommy ducks, then connects with his own punch. He swings for another, but Adonis blocks it. He then grabs Tommy's arm and spins him around before shoving him into the ropes. Tommy hits them chest first, and Adonis grabs him from behind and throws him up and over with a suplex. Tommy hits hard on his back but rolls through. Adonis turns in time to see Tommy getting to his feet. Adonis runs and jumps for a crossbody, but Tommy sidesteps, and Adonis lands on the mat stomach and face first. The crowd oohs. Tommy quickly springboards off the middle turnbuckle and lands a moonsault. He makes a cover.

Adonis kicks out. Cookie and Manvel clap from the apron as Tommy gets up. Adonis gets to his feet and Tommy grabs his arm then sends him across. On the rebound Tommy drills Adonis with a spinning clothesline. He goes down hard. Tommy then throws a few stiff kicks to Adonis' ribs. Adonis covers up and we hear Cookie screaming for Tommy to stop. He looks over at her, and backs off.

Sharper: “Valentine showing some of that mean streak for a few seconds there, then thought better of it.”

Knots: “Thanks to Cookie.”

Tommy steps back while Adonis gets to his feet. Adonis then runs with surprising quickness and shoulder tackles Tommy down. They both hit the canvas hard, shaking the ring. Adonis gets up only to drop an elbow. He then makes a cover.

Tommy kicks out. Adonis gets up and pulls Tommy up with him. He shoves Tommy into the corner, then runs in, drilling Tommy with an elbow. Tommy leans into the corner. Adonis pulls him out and then into a bear hug. He walks to the middle of the ring, squeezing.

Sharper: “That move may not look like much, but it's hell on the ribcage, especially from a man of Adonis' size, being done to one of Tommy's size.”

Knots: “Valentine isn't done yet though!”

Tommy starts punching Adonis' shoulders and head, anything his fists can reach to cause hurt and get him to let go. When that doesn't work, he drills the point of his elbow into the top of Adonis' head. Adonis breaks his grip and drops Tommy. He lands on his feet, a little unsteady as he catches his breath. Adonis turns away, holding his head. Tommy sees Adonis' back to him and smirks. He takes a deep breath then drills Adonis with a spinning heel kick in the back of the head! The crowd oohs as Adonis goes down. Tommy kicks him over to his back and makes a cover.

Adonis gets his shoulder up. Tommy gets up and backs up. Adonis starts to get up. Tommy waits til he's almost vertical, then grabs his head looking for a neckbreaker. Adonis shoves him off though. Tommy stumbles away, and Adonis gets vertical then grabs Tommy's arm and sends him across. He follows and as soon as Tommy hits the ropes, Adonis is right there and lifts him up overhead, before turning and dropping him with a bodyslam. Adonis makes a cover.

Tommy kicks out. Adonis gets up and steps back, looking around. He glances at Cookie and Manvel. They clap in encouragement. Tommy gets up and Adonis turns back towards him. Tommy springboards off the ropes and nails Adonis with the Trailblazer. The crowd roars as Adonis goes down. Tommy drops for a cover.

Adonis kicks out. Tommy hits the mat in frustration before getting up.

Sharper: “That flying forearm not enough to keep the champion down, and Tommy Valentine is getting angry.”

Knots: “You won't like him when he's angry!”

Sharper: “Stop it.”

Knots: “What? You've seen that mean streak of his! Tommy glare! Tommy smash!”

Adonis gets up as Cookie slaps the mat. Tommy greets him with an uppercut. Adonis fires back with a hard right, then a left. He then knees Tommy in the ribs. He turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and jumps up and manages to hit a crossbody, largely by just bowling him over with his weight. He stays down for the pin.

Tommy kicks out. Adonis gets up and grabs Tommy. He pulls him up and then turns and whips him into the corner. Manvel moves around to where Tommy is and Adonis then backs up to the opposite corner. He then runs across and goes for the KABLAM! Manvel, however, shoves Tommy out and Adonis goes into the corner. Tommy stumbles forward. Cookie looks at Manvel stunned as the crowd boos.

Sharper: “Manvel just shoved Tommy out of the corner! He saved him!”

Knots: “Wait…what? Why?!”

Adonis winces and turns around, going to Tommy before Tommy hits the Knee Deep. Cookie looks at Manvel as Manvel backs up and looks in. Tommy hooks the leg.

The crowd roars and boos. Tommy rolls off and smirks as he gets up. The referee is handed the SCW Television Championship and hands it to him.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and NEW SCW Television Champion, Tommy Valentine!”

The crowd boos as Tommy holds the title up. Adonis remains down as Manvel turns and shrugs before walking off and heading to the back.

Sharper: “Manvel getting involved. I don’t understand this!”

Knots: “Whatever happened, Tommy Valentine took advantage. New TV Chmapion and now to face Dawn Lohan next week on this program for the title!”

Sharper: “Valentine adding another title to his impressive resume, but with an assist from Manvel! I don’t believe it…Why?!”

Manvel heads to the back as Tommy keeps holding the title up before looking down at Derek. He smirks and heads off before we cut away.

“Immortals” by Fall Out Boy plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. Ace Marshall & Cassidy Carter vs. Alexis Quinne & Datura comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Next, a huge tag team match. Cassidy Carter and Ace Marshall will face Alexis Quinne and Datura. Sienna Swann seemed to be interested in this one. I’m sure Regan Street will be. As will Syren. What is going to happen? We’ll find out next!”

The scene fades to black.

The rifts to "Na na na" by My Chemical Romance begins to play throughout the arena as the spoken intro opens up.

Strobe lights begin flashing between different shades of blue, green and red in rapid succession as Cassidy Carter steps out to a mixed reaction. Ace Marshall walks out wearing Oakleys and a leather coat. Cassidy smiles broadly while stepping in a rhythm around the stage to match the beat as her one woman rave show continues. She throws one arm up over her chest while thrusting the other to the side before bowing smugly. Ace looks around.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, they are both from Las Vegas, Nevada, they are Ace Marshall and Cassidy Carter!”

Cassidy makes her way down the ramp, now in full spirits, not really focusing on anything. Ace follows her down. Cassidy reaches the apron before pulling herself up using the bottom rope for support. Standing along it she raises her head up to the rafters while leaning fully into the top rope. She sways her hips seductively before flipping over the top rope, landing inside the ring before turning and throwing her arms up and walking toward the center of the ring, dancing a bit in a straight line to her own theme song. Ace hops onto the apron and looks around before climbing onto the corner and thrusting his arm up. He takes off his jacket and shades and enters the ring. Cassidy raises her arms further up, now placing her hands on the back of her head before making her way to the corner. Stepping up onto the second rope she sits on the top turnbuckle before lying back across the top rope, propping her legs crossed casually over the other side. She appears to be becoming slightly impatient now in her comfortable spot waiting for this ordeal to begin and be over with.

Sharper: “Sienna Swann has some plan. I’m not sure what it could be, but it can’t be good for Cassidy or Ace.”

Knots: “Not like they’ll care. They’re in their own world and one where they’ll do whatever they want. Been like that for months!”

Sharper: “In any case, while that subplot could be in motion, we’re going to see what could be a hell of a match, a dream match in some ways, with Ace and Cassidy facing Alexis Quinne and Datura here on the first Breakdown of 2019.”

The eyes all focus on the stage as “A Stranger I Remain” hits over the P.A System. The lights begin to flash silver and black crowd starts to buzz and cheer. As the crowd looks on and the song kicks into gear, smoke fills up the stage. The lights continue to flash black and purple. From there, the crowd sees Alexis Quinne, standing wither her back turned against the people, dressed in noticeably all black Varsity Jacket. The back of the jacket has a black fist in the middle with "New Americana" written right below it. Alexis turns her head and we see she's wearing a black Guy Fawkes mask with El Rudo's mask around her neck and a black baseball bat in her hands. Quinne turns around and peers to the crowd.

Phillips: “Their opponents, first, from San Francisco, California, she is Alexis Quinne!”

The arena turns black. On the screen, scenes of post-apocalyptic landscapes haunt the darkness. Over the speakers, an eerie synth pad sets the mood as a deep, raspy voice begins speaking:

♫“The car’s on fire, and there’s no driver at the wheel, and the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides, and a dark wind blows…

The government is corrupt and we’re on so many drugs with the radio on and the curtains drawn. We’re trapped in the belly of this horrible machine, and the machine is bleeding to death. The sun has fallen down, and the billboards are all leering, and the flags are all dead at the top of their poles.

It went like this: The buildings tumbled in on themselves. Mothers clutching babies picked through the rubble and pulled out their hair. The skyline was beautiful on fire, all twisted metal stretching upward, everything washed in a thin orange haze

I said ‘Kiss me. You’re beautiful. These are truly the last days. You grabbed my hand and we fell into it like a daydream or a fever.” ♫

A chorus of strings play a melancholic tune as a pale spotlight settles at the top of the ramp. There, it falls on Datura, dressed in a pair of tight, dark jeans and a black hoodie. She stops at the top of the ramp and stares out into the darkness of the crowd, standing next to Alexis Quinne.

Phillips: “And her partner, from Tampa, Florida, she is Datura!”

Elizabeth trudges down the ramp with Alexis, and the light follows. The silhouette of hands reaching out to grab her can be seen on the outskirts of the light. Datura and Alexis ignore them as Datura climbs up the steps and Alexis slides into the ring. Alexis takes off her entrance attire as Datura stands upon the apron, cracks her neck, and enters under the top rope. She makes her way to the corner and unzips her hoodie. She extends her arms outward and rolls her neck, casting her gaze to the sky as her hoodie slides off her arms. Alexis then turns as Datura and her watch Ace and Cassidy.

Sharper: “Quinne and Datura a new alliance, almost built on mutual dislike of Regan Street, but also the fight they have for each other. Almost respect.”

Knots: “And to think, it started with a challenge and piledriver. Now they’re a team and this is their debut as one. Datura meanwhile has Regan in eleven days at Making Things Right.”

The bell sounds. Ace stretches a bit as he steps forward. Ace looks at Datura as Datura looks across at him. She starts to step up and Ace Marshall walks forward too. Datura and Ace get face to face as the crowd roars. Ace says something to Datura before Datura responds back. They jaw a bit before we see Alexis Quinne jump off the apron and we then see LEO and Jack Parker on one side and on the other, having come from the back, Savali and Dante. The crowd boos as Cassidy turns and nails Savali but Dante nails Cassidy in the ribs before pushing her into the barricade. Quinne nails Parker only for LEO to kick her in the ribs. Datura turns to Parker and LEO as Ace turns and heads toward Dante. We then see Ikiro Yoshida running down from the back at this point. The bell sounds.

Sharper: “And this match getting thrown out as the Network is here!”

Knots: “Network minus Xander! This must’ve been that plan!”

Sharper: “And here comes Ikiro!”

Ace grabs Dante, but immediately, Ikiro grabs Ace and pulls him off and nails him with a hard right and then another. Datura nails Parker with a hard right and then nails LEO with a back elbow as the crowd roars. Cassidy is speared back into the barricade by Dante as Ikiro then runs Ace into the ringpost. He then spins back around as Dante grabs Cassidy and pulls him out. She then mule kicks him. Dante grimaces and turns and Cassidy nails him with a hard right and then another before Savali runs over and clotheslines her down. Ikiro tells her to get her up as Savali pulls Cassidy up and drags her to her feet before holding her up and Ikiro lunges and nails her with the KARAOKE kick! The crowd ohs and boos.

Sharper: “Ikiro making sure, for Sienna I’m sure, that Cassidy Carter’s lights are dimmed!”

Knots: “KARAOKE kick and Cassidy’s got a tune singing in her head!”

Datura meanwhile goes after Parker as Alexis Quinne recovers and both kick at him and roll him into the ring. Datura turns around and LEO hits a spinning back kick to the ribs. Datura falls over. Quinne turns and goes after him. Quinne grabs LEO as we cut backstage to see Sienna Swann watching, a smile on her face, as London and Paris look on too. Laura peers from the background. Quinne grabs LEO and then turns and rolls him into the ring too. She slides in as Ikiro Yoshida rolls in after and runs over and goes for Quinne. Quinne ducks and Ikiro misses a straight kick. She kicks him in the ribs and then again before jumping up and dropkicking him. He rolls to the floor. Quinne turns around and Parker grabs Quinne by her arms and LEO then shrugs and kicks her in the ribs with a straight kick. Quinne falls over. Datura then reaches under the ring and grabs a steel chair as Ace goes over to Quinne. Dante and Savali stomp away on him as Cassidy rolls over. The crowd boos loudly.

Sharper: “This is a damn mugging. Cassidy and Ace getting attacked. Ace trying to protect Cassidy. LEO working over Quinne.”

Knots: “Watch Datura though. Watch Datura!”

Just as she grabs a steel chair from under the ring, we see Regan Street storm out from the back, with a steel chair of her own. She then runs down and Dante turns and Regan nails him in the ribs with it. Dante falls over and down to the mats and Regan nails Savali in the shoulder. She then nails Ace for good measure as Ace rolls over in pain. Datura enters and LEO rolls out of the ring before taking a shot as Jack goes for a hard right. Datura ducks and then nails him in the ribs with the end of the chair and slamming the chair into her back. Regan rolls into the ring and looks at Datura as both hold chairs in their hands. Both watch one another ready to strike. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Regan Street coming out and taking out the Network! I don’t know if she appreciates what Sienna and the Beauty Factory were doing!”

Knots: “Even took a shot at Ace though. Why not!”

Sharper: “Datura and Regan standing in the ring, both holding steel chairs!”

The crowd continues to cheer, getting ready for the impending clash. Regan and Datura don’t say anything, just looking at one another before Regan smirks and swings. Datura ducks and spins around. Datura swings for Regan’s head. Regan ducks. They then swing and both nail the chairs in each other’s hands, the clanging echoing throughout the arena. They swing again and clash again, chair to chair, before swinging a third time, as hard as they can. They both drop the chairs from the impact and both turn back, wincing. Regan looks at her hands as Datura smirks and turns and they Datura nails Regan with a hard right. Regan nails Datura with one. They trade blows as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “And now Datura and Regan are trading blows!”

Knots: “After dueling with chairs!’

They trade a few more shots before we see Katya backstage with security. Dean Black can be seen talking to Katya.

Black: “We need to go out there to restore order.”

Katya: “Let her go. She wanted a fight. She can go now.”

We see Regan then tackling Datura down. She gets a few shots in, before Datura rolls over and starts to go for the eyes of Regan. The crowd roars as Quinne enters.

Sharper: “Of course they’re not going to stop them. Of course Katya will hold them back. Regan faces Ravyn tonight!”

Datura keeps going for the eyes and Regan pushes her off as LEO then rolls into the ring and before Quinne can get up, nails Datura with a spinning heel kick. He rolls through to the floor. He backs up and Dante, Savali and Parker wince and head around. Regan gets up and Quinne lunges for LEO. LEO backs up and moves around. Regan starts to get up and turns to the Network as Quinne turns to Datura. Datura starts to roll over and get up. She touches her lip, not bleeding, and then looks at them before turning to Regan. Regan just turns and goes to go after Datura. Quinne stands up and stands in her way.

Sharper: “LEO with the cheap shot. The only reason this fight has ended!”

Knots: “Regan wants to go back, but Quinne is stopping her.”

Datura then starts to get up and turns to Regan. Regan looks at her. Datura tells Alexis to back off. Regan just looks at her as Quinne backs away. The crowd roars again. Datura and Regan just look at one another. Regan just says something to her before turning to the Network who start to back away. Other officials start to head down to the ring as the crowd boos some. Datura just chuckles as a few, including Aaron Demitra, enter the ring. Regan looks at them before Datura turns to them and can clearly be seen saying “Better take care of your shit.”

Sharper: “You see what Datura said?”

Knots: “Good thing I can read lips. She just told her to take care of well…you know.”

Sharper: “Sienna. The Network. And Regan knows it. Regan and Datura just barely being stopped from fighting. Regan wants Datura to herself. Datura wants Regan. And come Making Things Right, thanks to Mr. D, it will happen.”

Knots: “And Regan could be the Adrenaline Champion too.”

Datura looks at her as Aaron Demitra tries to convince Regan to back down. Regan just looks around, clearly annoyed before the scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns as we see Marie Jones and Ravyn Taylor in one of the locker rooms turned offices as Katya walks in.

Marie: “What is Aaron Demitra’s problem? Ruining all of the fun.”

Ravyn smirks as CHBK and Syren come into the scene.

Katya: “Looks like we may need to have a talk.”

CHBK: “Shame. He was a good official. But doesn’t understand a few things.”

Ravyn: “Or has this foolish thing called integrity. Integrity only matters when it costs you nothing.”

CHBK: “One way to look at it.”

Ravyn: “I’ll have to just deal with Regan myself.”

Katya: “I’m sure you have a plan.”

Ravyn: “Always.”

She smiles. The scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Regan Street walking through the backstage area, clearly annoyed as she takes a few more steps before Mikaela Street stops her.

Mikaela: “Regan…stop!”

Regan: “I think I need to take care of something first-“

Mikaela: “You need to focus on the Adrenaline Championship right now!”

Regan turns to Mikaela.

Regan: “I have Sienna thinking that her setting the same group that attacked me on Datura is going to make things right…seems like things are getting clearer for me and I’d like to make sure she gets the hint!”

Mikaela: “I’ll let her know. You have an Adrenaline Title shot. A shot from Mr. D himself. He gave it to you for a reason. Because you deserved it. And it’s against Ravyn Taylor. You don’t think she’s got something planned.”

Regan turns and sighs.

Mikaela: “And since when do you give a damn what Datura thinks!”

Regan turns to Mikaela.

Regan: “I care when she has a way to get in my head.”

Mikaela: “Well you’re giving Ravyn that right now. We talk to Sienna after. Okay?”

Regan takes a deep breath.

Regan: “Fine.”

Regan turns and heads off with Mikaela before we cut away.

The scene opens up at the announce table to show Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Looks like the plan didn’t go as some wanted, but meanwhile, Regan is just more riled up.”

Knots: “Sienna actually getting Regan more angry and Mikaela trying to get Regan to refocus. Adrenaline Championship match is coming up shortly.”

Sharper: “That she does. Meanwhile, another woman with a lot to her resume, one Selena Frost, she’s been focusing on her title opportunity that she’s secured with the Trios Tournament contract. At Making Things Right, she faces Bree Lancaster in a roofed cage match for the US Title.”

Knots: “Bringing it full circle.”

Sharper: “And she was conspicuous by her absence at the End of the Year Special, an event that has some special significance for her. Well, we found out why as Selena Frost submitted this to SCW’s production staff.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

The scene opens up with a shot of a snowy hill as we hear the sound of someone stepping through the snow, the snow crunching under their feet. The camera then turns to show Selena Frost walking up to the camera, wearing a winter coat, staring into the camera as her white hair bounces as the wind flows through it.

Selena: “A number of people may have noticed my absence from the End of the Year Special. I hope people that know me well know that’s not a small news story. The End of the Year Special was the night I debuted in SCW. It was the night I made the decision to stay here, taking a chance on an opportunity. It was the beginning to my full career. It even was the event I won the SCW World Championship at.”

Selena pauses.

Selena: “And the reason I wasn’t there was simple…I’m making sure that whatever happens at Making Things Right, when I step in the ring with Bree Lancaster…in the same type of match we met in at Retribution 2017. The roofed cage.”

The scene fades into a shot of Bree Lancaster and Blake Mason looking around the cage from inside of it. We see shots of Selena and Kelcey Wallace throwing Bree into Blake. This is followed by a shot of Bree hitting a running knee lift onto Selena as Blake holds her, knocking Selena into the space between the two rings set up for this match. We then see shots of Selena Frost sending Bree into the ropes before showing a jump kick to the head, only to show Bree bleeding from the head. This is followed by a shot of Selena Frost hitting a back suplex into a facebuster and Bree holding her nose. We cut to shot Bree Lancaster nailing Selena with a series of hard right hands while mounting her. Selena hitting the Glass Shard on Bree follows before we see Kelcey, Blake, Selena and Bree all down.

Selena: “And one mistake is the only reason you won.”

We then cut to see Selena accidentally nailing Kelcey Wallace with the Glass Shard before we see Bree hitting Selena with the Classifier after.

Selena: “But at least you won by the terms of the match. The next night…Not my proudest moment…but certainly worth it!”

Selena smiles a bit as we cut to her in her snowy scene. Before cutting to show Selena Fros, holding her ribs, grabbing Bree, and DDTing her through the announce table. Bree is shown down before we see Selena standing in the ring, her arm raised.

Selena: “Don’t worry Bree. I won’t pretend it was anything other than a countout.”

We cut back to Selena on the snowy hill, looking around, walking forward. The camera backs up with her at the same pace.

Selena: “But until December, you had never prove you could beat me alone and still to this moment, you can’t. Whether it’s half the roster getting involved because Dark Fantasy sees a moment to remove a threat. Whether it’s Scott Burnside saving your reign because he’s a good yes man.”

Selena stops for a moment before looking back at the camera.

Selena: “It’s why Making Things Right, no matter whatever corruption is going on elsewhere, one thing will be right…It’s why this match, I’m making sure that either you beat me in the middle of the ring and I’m making sure I have no excuses. Don’t worry, Bree. I already know you’re going to see everything I’ve just said as that…making excuses. But the fans who came to see champions who win it in the ring, lose it in the ring, and have some respect for competition know that I’m merely holding you to account! You’re the one who has wanted to be World Champion. You’re the one wanting to hold the US Title forever. You’re the one who claims to be champion…when you have shown that you are anything but. You have shown you only care about holding on.”

Selena pauses and looks around.

Selena: “It’s why I’m come back here. To my home. In Alaska. To remind myself who I am. To remind myself how good I know I can be. To remind myself why some people call me the face of SCW. To remind myself of my goals, which for years always revolved around not just winning the US Championship, but holding it with pride! You can call me focused on gold all you want, but again, history shows that you’re grasping at straws. You only have to go back to that World Championship win I mentioned…I wanted to turn it down as I didn’t feel I was ready until I held the title I felt was my ceiling…the title that represented my hard work…the title represented what I hoped to become…the US Championship.”

Selena nods as the camera spins around, showing the desolate cold, including some coniferous trees, an general otherwise stillness.

Selena: “I’ve come here Bree to make sure I am ready to make sure you finally stand as a champion with a title defense that proves you can be one. In a match where you will need to fight for yourself. No help. Nothing. And if you win, you get what I’m sure you want…I’ll leave you alone. I’ll accept defeat. I’ll accept that you may even be my better. Until then, I accept nothing and at Making Things Right, I will be looking to challenge you unlike you’ve ever been challenged and winning the title I had hoped to hold for several years now. Yeah, I’ll be a Supreme Champion and sure, that’s a significant accomplishment. Don’t get me wrong. But I’m focusing on you, Bree, and the World Title. I’ve remembered who I am…You…better remember how to stand on your own. I don’t think you do. BELIEVE IT!”

Selena then turns and starts to slowly walk away from the camera. The howling of the wind now more audible as the crunching of the snow remains the only sound before the scene fading out. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

Backstage, we see Aaron Demitra in the referee’s room as we hear a knock at the door and Aaron sighs before heading over to the door and opens it. Sasha stands in the doorway.

Sasha: “I assume I’m not who you were expecting.”

Aaron: “I was expecting to be getting some paperwork and finding other work.”

Sasha: “You’re not going to have to worry about that. You did exactly what you should have done both earlier tonight and at the End of the Year Special. I wasn’t here to stop what happened to Steve, but as far as I’m concerned, I’m not letting them fire you.”

Aaron: “Can you actually stop them?”

Sasha: “If I can’t somehow, I can delay it. It’s why I’m going to be at every show she is until my father can end this.”

Aaron: “I can understand his problem though. Has to choose between his daughters.”

Sasha says nothing, just nodding.

Sasha: “Either way, tonight, just keep doing your job. That’s all I ask.”

Aaron: “I can happily do that.”

Sasha: “Thank you.”

Sasha turns and heads off as Aaron sighs and we cut away.

“Immortals” plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A shot of Regan Street vs. Ravyn Taylor comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “As Selena Frost gets ready to face Bree Lancaster, next, Regan Street faces Ravyn Taylor. SCW Adrenaline Championship on the line!”

Knots: “It’s next?!”

Sharper: “It is.”

Knots: “I don’t like this at all.”

The scene fades to black.

SCW Adrenaline Championship

The arena goes dark. The sound of a Hellcat scratching through the screen is seen with a roar. Fireworks blast off the entrance as “Who's Next” by Porcelain Black plays throughout the arena. Regan Street walks out in her cat suit and ensemble with her younger sister, Mikaela behind her.

Phillips: “The following contest is schedule for onefall for TV time remaining and is for the SCW Adrenaline Championship! First, the challenger, accompanied by Mikaela Street, from Santa Monica, California, she is the Hellcat, Regan Street!”

She stands at the entrance way looking out into the crowd as they cheer her a bit. Regan turns to Mikaela, they both nod before she looks around at the crowd, then smirks walking to the ring determined for her next match and starts to make her way down to the ring followed by Mikaela.
Regan Street gets to the apron and hops up to the ring; she flips over the ropes back first as Mikaela slides after her. Once inside the ring Regan goes to the corner, climbing it and posing in her own confident way as Mikaela claps before dropping down and walking to the middle of the ring where she takes off her entrance attire and nods to her sister, handing her the gear and she makes her way to the corner while the Hellcat stands waiting to start her fight...

Sharper: “Regan Street shocked everyone when to end 2019, she revealed she had received an Adrenaline Title match from Mr. D. The lone move we’ve heard from him since Katya took over.”

Knots: “Yeah and I can’t wait to see what she’ll do to Ravyn Taylor tonight. Maybe someone can deliver a pretty damn clear message that this will never be Dark Fantasy’s company.”

Darkness engulfs the arena as we hear the eerie sound of something tapping against glass. After a few moments there comes a whisper in the sound of a woman’s voice of one short, iconic word “NEVERMORE”. With that we hear the opening from “Open Your Eyes” by Guano Apes.

“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”

The song gets stuck on the word and is then interrupted by the deep sound of the voice of Marilyn Manson.

“Just lay your head in daddy’s lap
You’re a bad girl!”

“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as the lights come back up and we see the screens playing images of Ravyn Taylor’s various antics in and out of the ring. After a few moments the curtains part and Ravyn steps out on to the stage with a smirk on her face and the SCW Adrenaline Championship is around her waist. She’s dressed in ring gear that includes her normal ring jacket covering a small, revealing bra top and a pair of skin tight hot-pants with the words “BAD GIRL” across the back. She stops on the stage, twirling for the camera almost mockingly. CHBK walks out with her and the two look around the arena.

Phillips: “And her opponent, accompanied by CHBK and representing Dark Fantasy, from Malibu, California, she is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, the Bad, Bad Girl, Ravyn Taylor!”

After a few moments Ravyn starts to make her way down to ringside and then steps up the ring steps, wiping her feet on the apron before vaulting over the top turnbuckle and rolling back to her feet. CHBK follows her down to the ring. He walks around the ring. Ravyn walks over to the far corner of the ring, stepping on to the middle turnbuckle and removes her ring jacket, looking down at herself with a look of admiration before stepping off the turnbuckle again. She folds the jacket up and places it in the corner before dropping to a seated position, looking up at the referee, Aaron Demitra, and shaking her head as he tries to tell her to get to her feet so he can pat her down. Instead she just ushers him away with her hand, handing him the SCW Adrenaline Championship, continuing to sit in the corner. CHBK settles in her corner. Regan doesn’t take her eyes off of Ravyn. Demitra holds the title over his head as the SCW Adrenaline Championship logo comes across the screen and goes to the bottom corner.

Sharper: “Regan Street has not taken her eyes off of Ravyn.”

Knots: “And CHBK is out here no doubt because of his history with Regan and Mikaela. Another layer. Another thing maybe to set Regan off.”

Sharper: “And note the official, Aaron Demitra, who has been someone that Dark Fantasy has had plenty of issues with.”

Knots: “And Sasha even told him that she will protect his job and to call this with his discretion!”

The bell sounds and just as that happens, CHBK rolls into the ring and runs over to Regan. Regan before she can react, CHBK kicks her in the ribs. He nails her with a hard right. The crowd boos. Ravyn leans back in the corner and points to CHBK. CHBK nails Regan with another hard right. Aaron turns to Ravyn and shakes his head before turning back.

Sharper: “Come on! Immediately! Immediately CHBK gets involved!”

Knots: “No DQ though!”

CHBK then grabs Regan and pulls her out and hits a side headlock into a hard right hand. Regan hits the mat. Mikaela just glares at CHBK as CHBK turns and backs up. He starts to call for Regan to get up to her feet. The crowd boos as Aaron Demitra looks on. Regan starts to get up, grimacing in pan and CHBK lunges and goes the Bittersweet Ending. Regan ducks and spins through. CHBK turns around and Regan kicks him in the ribs and hits the Catnap! The crowd roars. Regan rolls through and Ravyn runs over and boots her in the face with the Bust of Pallas, sending Regan back and through the ropes to the floor!

Sharper: “Ravyn making sure Regan goes to the floor. Ravyn willing to get disqualified. Aaron Demitra not even going to react. Referee’s discretion and he’s going to take a wide idea tonight it looks like!”

Knots: “But Regan is on the floor. Countout?”

Sharper: “Demitra’s not counting here!”

Ravyn looks over and glares before rolling to the floor. Regan starts to get up, holding her face and Ravyn nails her with a forearm shot and then another. Regan falls back into the barricade. Ravyn nails her a third time as CHBK rolls over. Mikaela looks on as Ravyn then turns and grabs Phillips and pulls him away before grabbing his steel chair. She looks at Demitra before turning to Regan.

Sharper: “The irony that Ravyn has a chair after earlier when Regan came out with one to help Datura!”

Ravyn then lifts the chair up and slams it in the back of Regan. Regan falls over and down against the steel steps and rolls over. Ravyn smirks and looks at her before then sliding and following after her and then Regan rolls into the ring. Ravyn turns and slides in and as she does, we see Mikaela Street pulling something out of from under the ring. The crowd roars as Mikaela pulls out a table. She looks in and Ravyn rolls into the ring and holds the chair. Mikaela lifts the table up and slides it in. Aaron Demitra then looks on before Ravyn lifts the chair looking at Demitra before going to nail Regan, but Regan nails her in the ribs. The crowd cheers. Regan nails her again. More cheers. She then jumps up and hits a jawbreaker. Ravyn staggers back. Regan gets up and turns and looks at the table. She lifts it up and unfolds the legs and places it down in the ring. Ravyn steps out and Regan kicks the chair forward. Ravyn goes for a hard right. Regan ducks and Ravyn stops and turns around before Regan nails her with a hard right. Ravyn falls onto the table. Regan grabs the steel chair and quickly nailing her in the chest and face with it. She throws it down before staggering to the corner. As she does, the crowd cheers and Regan climbs up to the top rope.

Sharper: “Regan has Ravyn set up on that table!”

Knots: “Aaron Demitra is just letting it go!”

Sharper: “I’m stunned Dark Fantasy isn’t out here-“

We then cut to see Syren, Casterillo, Marie Jones, and Alexander Crowe held off by Dean Black and SCW security as they try to get through. Kimberly Williams can be seen in the background looking through her lewd t-shirts.

Knots: “Look!”

Sharper: “Dean Black holding back Dark Fantasy! Gotta be because of Sasha!”

Regan meanwhile looks down at Ravyn and then dives off and hits her with the Price Tag, driving her through the table. Regan rolls over, wincing a bit. Ravyn is laid out. CHBK stirs on the apron as Mikaela runs over and nails him with a hard right for good measure before we then see Xander Valentine walking down the rampway to the ring.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine! Of the Network! He’s coming down!”

Knots: “Damn it. Security forgot about the deal with the Network!”

The crowd looks on as Regan turns and starts to crawl through the table and goes to Ravyn, covering her.

Aaron Demitra is then pulled out of the ring. Xander then grabs him and nails him with a hard right. The crowd boos. Xander then hoists Aaron up and throws him into the ring. Xander grabs the ropes, pulls himself onto the apron and enters the ring. Regan gets up and immediately nails him with a hard right and then another and another. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Regan going after Xander! Shot after shot!”

Knots: “She’ll fight anyone!”

Regan then grabs Xander and in the moment goes to whip Xander across the ring, but Xander fires her in. Regan bounces off and Xander nails her with a boot to the face. Regan hits the mat. Xander then walks forward as the crowd boos. Regan turns and starts to get up and looks up at Xander. She lunges and goes to nail him with a hard right, but Xander blocks it and knees her in the ribs. He then double underhooks her before hitting the Martial Bane. The crowd ohs. Xander then turns and looks at Aaron as he calls for the bell. Aaron backs up and rolls out of the ring. Ravyn starts to get up as Xander looks around. Regan remains down as Mikaela looks up. Ravyn smirks.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine…planting Regan! Demitra throwing this match out. That being the final straw.”

Knots: “Ravyn’s smiling! She’s smiling!”

Xander turns to Ravyn. Ravyn then gets up and walks over to him. She smiles as she then turns to Regan.

Sharper: “Ravyn’s walking up to Xander. They’re standing together. The rest of the Network isn’t here though. Is this a Network deal or something else?!”

Knots: “And where’s Datura?! She didn’t even come out to help her after Regan did earlier!”

Regan Street remains down in the ring as Xander looks at her. Ravyn just smiles as the scene slowly fades to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Xander Valentine with Ravyn Taylor and Jessica Winters walking over.

Jessica: “Xander…Ravyn…You had a plan to say the least-“

Ravyn: “Even more than that. Welcome to the newest addition to the SCW roster.”

Jessica: “Wait…what?”

Xander turns to Jessica. We see CHBK walking over to Ravyn and the two whispering to one another.

Xander: “They offered me a contract. I’d rather know I’m going to get paid and know I’ll have a purpose, than get paid very well, but no chance to get out of it.”

CHBK: “And as long as you realize who felt it was best to move on from the past…”

Xander turns to CHBK.

Ravyn: “Exactly. Rise to Greatness…you were a tool. To the Network, you were a tool too. With us…well, just look at Casterillo or Marie or Scarlet…you can rebuild your career.”

Xander takes a deep breath and turns to Ravyn.

Jessica: “So does this mean you’re part of Dark Fantasy?!”

Xander turns to Jessica.

Xander: “Well I’m definitely not part of the Network anymore.”

Ravyn: “At least this way it’s cleaner. I mean Beauty Network has exclusivity with LEO and Dante, I believe. At least that’s the perception. We have exclusivity our own way. What about that agreement Dante made?”

CHBK smiles as he steps forward. Xander heads off with Ravyn Taylor as Jessica turns to the camera.

Jessica: “A stunning turn of events, but that last sentence, that may be more clearly the why. Xander wanted stability. That’s for sure. But Dark Fantasy seems to have made a deal. Remember that the Network arranged that they would not serve Dark Fantasy or the Beauty Factory against one another.”

Sharper: “Thank you Jessica and I’m sure we’re going to hear from the Network. That may also explain why Xander wasn’t out earlier. Unbelievable!”

Jordan Majors vs. Max Kane vs. Konrad Raab

The lights go down and flash red and purple as "Dark Horse" starts. Jordan Majors steps out as the beat drops with a long, floor-length jacket on and looks out at the crowd. She bobs her head with the music for a moment before the lights slowly fade back to normal and she makes her way to the ring. She slides in under the bottom rope and climbs a turnbuckle. Jordan slips out of the jacket and tosses it on the floor before hopping off the turnbuckle and putting one fist in the air.

Sharper: “Jordan Majors had a solid SCW debut in the Open Invitational at the End of the Year Special, and is now hoping to translate that into a victory in her Breakdown debut.”

Knots: “She certainly has a lot that could be going for her considering who she’s been put up against and where they probably stand with a certain young lady backstage right now.”

The arena is silent when all of a sudden Max's Kane voice is heard through the PA system.

KANE!

MAX!

KANE!

"Suck My Kiss" then hits the PA system; the lights flashing in sync with the bass. After a few seconds, Max Kane is propelled from underneath the ramp into the air. The crowd oohs as he then lands on his feet and drops to his knees on the ramp, the camera right in his face. Max yells at the camera before he stands on his feet. Max looks around the crowd as he immediately extends his arms out to the crowd. Max then walks to the middle of the ramp and storms down the ring, looking around the crowd, yelling to them. Max once again eyes the camera and he eyes it for a few seconds. The youngster picks up his pace and walks past the camera towards the apron. He runs into the ring and immediately runs up the top rope. Max yells to the crowd and then cheer as he looks to his left and then his right. He motions for the crowd to make some noise before he jumps off the ropes. He retreats to the corner and starts moving around.

Sharper: “He may not be entering the new year as TV Champion, but Max Kane clearly still has a bone to pick with The Network to give him purpose.”

Knots: “Considering they’re caught in the middle of being contracted to both Katya and the Beauty Factory, that’s a whole lot of extra enemies this idiot really shouldn’t be making.”

Cold as Ice by M.O.P. plays over the sound system as Konrad Raab comes out through the curtain just wearing his blue and white mask with white hair along with his wrestling trousers with his nickname The Iceman on the front of them with Pit Bull Energy logos on the side of his trousers with black gloves on both of his hands with a side cross necklace on his neck. He then high fives the fans as he goes up the stairs before going in-between the ropes and does a holdup on each turnbuckle and everyone cheers him as he gets down from the turnbuckle and does a few boxing punches to the cameras before he looks at his opponent waiting for the match to start.

Sharper: “On the other hand, Konrad’s been among those extremely vocal about the way Katya’s been handling business since taking over.”

Knots: “We already saw how well that worked for him in the Open Invitational courtesy of some new Katya-appointed officials. He’d better tread lightly going forward.”

The bell rings and all three characters eye one another warily for a moment from their respective corners. Jordan Majors is the first to move as she slowly makes her way to the middle of the ring with a smirk, but before she really gets there Max Kane explodes out of his corner and runs right through her with an elbow smash to the face! Before Konrad Raab can really move to get involved, Kane charges at him and splashes him into the turnbuckles. This causes Raab to slump down into a seated position, and Kane charges across the ring and bounces off the opposite turnbuckles like a pinball before charging into Konrad again with a cannonball! The fans are roaring as Kane just looks out at them with a crazy grin before he notices Majors has rolled out of the ring to recoup, and this results in him bouncing off the ropes before charging full steam into a suicide dive through the ropes that drives her into the barricade!

Sharper: “Max Kane is a house of fire to start this contest!”

Knots: “Just throwing his body all over the place as he tends to do. Definitely not the warm welcome to Breakdown I bet Jordan was expecting!”

Kane slides back into the ring as Raab has pulled himself out of the corner and back to his feet, and Kane charges at him, only for Konrad to slip free of what looked like a running cutter attempt and grab Kane by the waist before throwing him back with a big release german suplex! Kane gets some air before crashing and rolling across the mat, but he still attempts to get back to his feet quickly. As he staggers forward he’s met with a clothesline from Raab, and trying to get back up again results in a second clothesline putting him down. Raab then proceeds to grab Kane’s legs and turn him over into a boston crab, trying to bend Kane in half to short-circuit his frantic offense. The referee checks with Kane, who shakes his head and yells out his refusal to give up. As Raab plants his feet and sits down deeper to keep Kane from trying to crawl towards the ropes, he looks like he’s focused on the stage, which opens him up as the boston crab is broken up when Majors suddenly springboards off the adjacent top rope and catches him in the side of the head with a dropkick!

Sharper: “Majors back into this contest to break up that boston crab after Raab looked like he’d finally grounded Max Kane.”

Knots: “Maybe it’s just me, but he looked a little too distracted there keeping an eye out for someone that wasn’t her. You think he’s too fixated on the idea that this match might’ve been Katya’s idea?”

Majors pulls Kane to his feet and takes advantage of the damage Raab did to manage to take him over with a snap suplex that has him immediately moving an arm to his back. She follows this up with a series of knee drops to his lower back that have him cringing in agony. She sees Raab getting back to his feet and runs over to catch him in the side of the head with another dropkick before he’s fully upright, then follows this up with a couple of stomps that sends him rolling towards the ropes before she kicks him out of the ring. She turns around and is surprised as Kane’s somehow back to his feet and lifts her onto his shoulders, charging towards the corners with a death valley driver in mind, but his back noticeably slows him down enough to allow Majors to slide off his shoulders and shove him chest first into the top turnbuckle before catching him as he backs up with a snap german suplex she bridges into a pin.

The pin is broken up as Raab suddenly dives from the top and crushes the bridging Majors with a frog splash! The fans let out a collective “oh!” as Majors slowly rolls away in agony.

Knots: “So much for the opportunity she found!”

Sharper: “Majors taking advantage of the damage Raab has done, but he made sure she wasn’t leaving here with a win because of it thanks to that nasty frog splash!”

Raab is the first one to his feet, looking around the arena for a moment before returning his focus to the two competitors writhing on the mat. He starts to move Majors into position for something before he notices Kane trying to make his way back to his feet. As he finally gets up, he ends up staggering right into a spinebuster from Raab that has him crying out from the pain shooting through his back. Raab returns his attention to Majors, making sure she’s still down before he starts ascending to the top again facing the fans as they start buzzing in anticipation. Once he’s up there, he takes another moment to survey his surroundings, and it’s at this point that Majors quickly shoots up and pushes his feet out from under him, causing Raab to land in a very awkward position on the top turnbuckle! Many fans cringe at the landing for obvious reasons as Majors takes a moment to get her bearings from the sudden burst of momentum before she ties up Raab’s feet and pulls him back into a tree of woe, landing a kick to his midsection to make sure he stays put. She steps out onto the apron and ascends to the top herself, grinning down at the trapped Raab as she prepares to make the leap. Before she can, however, she’s surprised by an elbow smash to her side as Kane, forgotten about in the chaos, had slipped out to the floor and is now climbing to the top behind Majors, continuing his elbow barrage as she falls to a seated position. Kane stands tall behind her before he leaps and twists around her before taking her off the top with a frankensteiner that sends her flying clear towards the center of the ring and also sees him somehow land a diving headbutt of sorts to the trapped Raab!

Knots: “Where on earth did that idiot come from!?”

Sharper: “Kane making sure he’s not forgotten about as he sends Majors flying, and I think he might’ve caught Raab on the way down as well!”

Raab looks dazed as he continues to hang there in the tree of woe while Kane uses the ropes to help him back to his feet before yelling out as the adrenaline begins to take hold. He spies Majors trying to get back to her feet, and once she does she turns right around into a sickening Grateful Dead headbutt! She collapses in a daze, but Kane starts picking her back up as he looks over to Raab with a grin before lifting Majors onto his shoulder. He charges towards Raab intending to launch Majors into him with the Bullseye, but Majors manages to squirm free in time. Kane puts on the brakes and turns around right into a superkick that stuns him, and Majors then follows up with a falcon arrow that she holds for the pin!

Kane manages to shoot his shoulder up! Majors looks irritated as she clutches at her head, still feeling the effects of the headbutt she ate. She pulls Kane to his feet and levels him with a european uppercut, followed by a second one that has him collapsing to the mat before she motions to the corner, intending to end this. As she turns around, however, she finds that Raab has managed to get free of the tree of woe as he grabs her and plants her with The Iceinator! Raab goes for the cover and hooks the leg.

Majors manages to kick out!

Sharper: “All three of these athletes laying it all on the line to be able to start their 2019 off on the right foot!”

Knots: “With how fast and furious this has been so far, who’s even got anything left in the tank?”

Raab is able to get back to his feet first and opts to bring Kane back to his feet, but as he does so Kane throws another Grateful Dead that knocks Raab back against the ropes in a daze! Kane takes a moment to try and get his bearings, especially after how many unprotected headbutts he’s thrown around. As he tries to settle on a plan of attack, Majors has managed to get back to her feet and tries to catch him with the Lights Out, but Kane manages to block it and throw her into the ropes. She rebounds and he lifts her up onto his shoulders, looking for Ha, Ha You're Dead, but before he can start to swing her around he’s suddenly caught by Raab with The Ice Storm! Majors ends up landing on Kane as well to add to the impact, and Raab rolls her off before rolling Kane over into a pin.

Majors tries to break it up but is just a second too late as the bell rings as “Cold as Ice” by M.O.P. hits again. The fans are roaring as Raab slowly gets back to his feet and the referee raises his arm.

Phillips: “Here is your winner… Konrad Raab!”

Sharper: “Raab looked like he was trying to keep an eye out at points, but managing to win this match is the biggest statement he could make to Katya.”

Knots: “I’d keep treading lightly if I were him though. He may be starting the year off on the right foot, but it’ll only get harder from here.”

Majors rolls away, staring up at the lights with clear frustration after losing her Breakdown debut as the referee checks on Kane, who looks well out of it at this point as Raab continues to celebrate.

Breakdown returns as we see Abigail Lindsay, holding her motorcycle helmet, while on her motorcycle. She tries to rev it, but it stalls out and sputters before just turning off. Dawn Lohan is there.

Dawn: “What’s wrong?”

Abigail turns the ignition again, but it doesn’t start at all. Abigail sighs and gets up and places her helmet on the seat before we see one of the production crew members coming over. He then looks at her as Abigail tries again. The engine doesn’t turn over, instead only a stalling noise is heard. The production crew member then notices something.

Production Crew Member: “The gas cap.”

Abigail smirks.

Abigail: “Of course.”

Production Crew Member: “We’re going to have to pump it all out if it’s what we both think it is.”

Abigail: “Probably is.”

Abigail turns to Dawn.

Abigail: “Someone decided to mess with the gas. Probably water if it’s not doing this.”

Dawn: “Ravyn?”

Abigail: “If it is...I’d be surprised if she did her own dirty work. I mean, I’m not important enough. Guess I’m walking to the ring.”

Dawn: “Be careful.”

Abigail: “Always.”

Abigail smiles as she turns and heads off.

Sharper: “Abigail Lindsay will be in action, next!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Laura Steinbeck with Dante McCaffery. LEO is also in the room with the Truelove Twins as Sienna Swann and Ikiro talk in the back corner.

Laura: “You better have something.”

Dante: “I’m not pleased about this either. Seems like we need to make sure that lessons are learned from this. But as far as I’m concerned, we’re going to have to consider a few things.”

Sienna then walks over.

Sienna: “Well you worry about that on your own time. Laura made you an offer. You can accept or not next week.”

London: “Meanwhile, looks like Regan isn’t too pleased.”

Paris: “Total bitch mode.”

Sienna scoffs.

Sienna: “Well then, that’s her problem. I offered her a solution to her problems. A make good. If she can’t trust me after that, then so be it. As for this situation, with Xander now with them…”

Sienna turns to Ikiro.

Sienna: “We’ll have to respond in kind at Making Things Right.”

Ikiro smiles as Sienna looks at everyone in the room and we cut away.

Abigail Lindsay vs. The Superhero

The chorus of "Wreak Havoc" by Skylar Grey begins the play. A few moments pass before we see Abigail Lindsay walk out from the back, looking a bit annoyed as she looks around and then starting to head to the ring..

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, from Los Angeles, California, she is Abigail ‘Serenity’ Lindsay!”

She walks down the rampway and down to the ringside area before walking over to the ring. She hops on the apron, proving how flexible she is she lifts one leg off, then drops down in a full split. She slides under the bottom rope. She slumps down into the corner waiting for the match to start.

Sharper: “Moments ago, Abigail Lindsay went to go get on her motorcycle, finding it stalling. Now walking out here and having to face the Superhero, whom she worked with to send a message to Ravyn.”

Knots: “Yeah and all of that to get Ravyn’s attention. May have gotten it! I could see her being that petty.”

Sharper: “That’s the thing. I can’t. But I can see her finding someone who would think that would work.”

"Did someone call for...A SUPERHERO?"

“I Need A Hero” by Bonnie Tyler begins to play as the iconic swoosh of a hero's keep can be heard in the background. The lights light up the entire arena as spotlights begin to spin. A white disco ball spins over the ring as The Superhero jogs out from the back. He pounds his chest before throwing his arms up to the audience. He winces briefly, before stopping at the top of the stage, he puts his left arm onto his hip before raising his right thumb up, saluting it to the cheering crowd.

Phillips: “And her opponent, the Superhero!”

Dropping both arms to his side he stands in attention before suddenly bolting down the ramp way. He slides into the ring and runs up to the corner. He has to stop and take a long break to catch his breath before climbing up onto the top turnbuckle to stand at the top before the crowd. Placing his arms to his side he beckons for the crowd to get into gear. Doing a backflip off of the top rope he turns and scans the ring.

Sharper: “The superhero here, but he’s in a bit of pain.”

Knots: “Maybe his super ass got super kicked at some point. I mean he may have tried to punch someone else backstage.”

Abigail looks at the Superhero as the bell sounds. The Superhero looks back at Abigail. Abigail steps forward. Abigail looks at him before we then see Katya appear on the big screen.

Katya: “Hold it…You didn’t think we would just have you face each other and then possibly figure something out to get a fast one. And before I move on, a shame what happened to your motorcycle. That was just unfortunate and be assured we will find out who was behind it. But as for this match. This is simple. You want to pay this masked individual to attack SCW wrestlers. Unmask the superhero and we’ll consider giving you your match against Ravyn. And to the Superhero, don’t worry, we’ll give you something.”

Katya looks off camera for a moment before smiling.

Katya: “If you beat Abigail, you then can have any match you want. You can take out any evildoer. And you know what…to quote my father…Have a nice day.”

The crowd boos as Abigail looks down and sighs. The Superhero looks at Abigail and shrugs before then rolling through and into a school boy.

Abigail kicks out. Both get up and the Superhero locks in a side headlock on Abigail.

Sharper: “Talk about adding to situation. Abigail already annoyed and there’s some relationship here. I don’t know what.”

Knots: “Abigail and the Superhero now having some big stips. They each could get something big here.”

Sharper: “Do you really believe they’ll consider giving Abigail a match against Ravyn if she can unmask the Superhero?”

Knots: “No. But again, with the politics at play, a win never hurts, especially with the extra money!”

Abigail pulls the Superhero back to the ropes and fires him off. He bounces off and Abigail goes for a clothesline. The Superhero ducks and stops. He turns and gives a thumbs up to the face of Abigail. The crowd roars. Abigail then jumps up and hits a dropkick to the face. The crowd ohs. The Superhero turns and starts to get up and Abigail snapmares him over and runs into the ropes in front of him. She bounces off and hits a running dropkick, knocking him back. She goes for the pin.

The Superhero kicks out. Abigail then looks at him and starts to go for the mask. The Superhero moves away and rolls over and to the ropes. Abigail loses her grip. She gets up and moves over toward him and the Superhero hoists her up and hits a hot shot on the top rope. Abigail stumbles back and rolls over, coughing.

Sharper: “Hot shot. Abigail knocked back!”

Knots: “She went for the mask though. So she’s on board at least.”

Sharper: “And this is the problem with this. You don’t know who controls what? You want to be a rebel. You want to stand out and ignore it. You risk your livelihood!”

Abigail starts to get up and the Superhero spins her around, double underhooks her and hoists her up and hits a double underhook backbreaker. The crowd ohs. The superhero goes for the pin.

Abigail kicks out. The Superhero grabs Abigail and pulls her up and nails her with a clubbing blow and then another before going to send Abigail in, but Abigail actually spins through nad sends the Superhero in. He hits the corner hard and winces. He staggers forward and Abigail runs forward, jumps to the middle rope and dives back with a springboard bulldog. The crowd ohs. Abigail looks up and starts to get up. She turns and exits to the apron. She then climbs up to the top rope. The Superhero staggers up to his feet and stumbles around, holding his back as Abigail Lindsay dives off the top rope and hits the Serenity Now! The crowd ohs and the Superhero rolls over. Abigail turns and hooks the leg.

The crowd roars and the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Abigail Lindsay!”

Sharper: “Lindsay getting the win here. With the Serenity Now. That spectacular DDT.”

Knots: “But she needs to unmask this superhero to get that match well…considered.”

Sharper: “So if she wants to call the bluff!”

Abigail looks at the Superhero as he turns and rolls over. Abigail then drops to a knee and leans over him as he stirs. Abigail looks out at the crowd before going for the mask. She goes to grab it before looking at the Superhero. She then shakes her head. She lets go and gets up.

Abigail: “Not going to bother. I know she’s full of shit.”

Abigail turns and extends her arm. She pulls the Superhero up and he just looks at Abigail, wincing a bit. Abigail then turns and rolls to the floor. She then shakes her head as she heads to the back. The crowd buzzes as we cut away.

Backstage, we open up to see Jessica Winters standing with the SCW United States Champion, Bree Lancaster. Scott Burnside stands next to Bree.

Jessica: “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s been a noteworthy night so far, and we’ve heard from Selena Frost, but I am here with Bree Lancaster, the SCW United States Champion. Your challenger at Making Things Right, in the roofed cage, for your title, has spoken. What do you say to her in reply?”

Bree: “Why do I have to give that deluded, poor individual my time? I’ll tell you why. She FINALLY had to use that Trios Tournament contract to hope that she doesn’t strike out. She can talk about how there’s this moral imperative for her, but we all know she’s full it. A lot of belief. Not much fact. But let’s go through some facts. FACT, she’s never beaten me for this title. FACT, her examples, she needed to put me through a table to beat me and I PINNED HER to end 2018.”

Bree smirks.

Bree: “She can make excuses. Scott had every right to be there. So he got overzealous. Why are you blaming me? Maybe you should deal with Scott?”

Scott: “Wait, what?”

Bree: “Kidding, Scotty. Just making a point. Selena will say anything to warp her beliefs. And these dimwitted fans of this company follow along. That’s fine…they can’t understand having a US Champion that is on a plane none of them could ever understand and now I have to enter a barbaric match…one I have beaten her in…to make sure I end this. I hope it was worth it Selena. All this build for no pay off. I’m not losing this title. Definitely not to you…BELIEVE IT!”

Bree then turns to Jessica.

Bree: “Now…if I can get my rematch for the Tag Titles…then I’ll have something more to say.”

Jessica: “Thank you for your comments. Bree Lancaster defends her US Championship in a roofed cage against Selena Frost at Making Things Right. If Bree wins, Selena Frost will not challenge for the US Championship as long as Bree holds that title.”

Bree: “Count on that.”

Bree smirks.

“Immortals” plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. Chris Cannon vs. Kennedy Street vs. Owen Cruze comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Next, I don’t know what to expect. Booked by Katya, but she has an issue with all three. Chris Cannon, Kennedy Street, Owen Cruze. It’s next!”

The scene fades to black.

Chris Cannon vs. Kennedy Street vs. Owen Cruze

The opening beats to Southpaw Swagger's “It's Showtime” kicks in over the speaker system, the fans jumping to their feet in acknowledgment of who is about to step out onto the stage. A huge roar greets Owen Cruze as he steps out onto the stage, but notably annoyed.

Phillips: “The following contest is a triple threat match and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is Owen Cruze!”

"It's Showtime!"

He doesn’t bother with his normal entrance, instead just heading to the ring.

"It's Showtime!"

He gets halfway down the rampway as a huge burst of pyro erupts behind him. He runs up the ring steps and across the apron before entering the ring. He then walks over to his corner and leans back. He looks out at the entrance way.

Sharper: “Owen Cruze, the winner of the End of the Year Special Open Invitation and Rookie of the Year for 2018, not looking pleased.”

Knots: “We don’t know what to expect in this one. Normally we would be looking forward to this match, but we know Katya booked it.”

The big screen above the entrance springs into life as the lights darken, the only image we see is that of a glistening perfect world logo. We then hear a woman’s voice that sounds a lot like Kelcey Wallace over the P. A System next as she addresses the arena.

“Ladies and Gentleman, Introducing...”

.CHRIS CANNON.

The opening guitar to Prometheus by Audio Machine hit’s over the P.A system next with an explosion of sound. There’s a sudden pause and then a spotlight shines down onto the stage where we see Chris Cannon who stands on the stage. He looks out at the crowd.

Phillips: “Next, hailing from London, England by way of Hermosa Beach, California, he is Chris Cannon!”

The crowd has cheers for the British superstar as he begins to walk down towards the ring. Once at the bottom of the ramp Cannon then slides into the ring and turns to Owen. They talk a bit as Chris goes into another corner as they await the arrival of Kennedy.

Sharper: “Chris going over to Owen. All three are friends, allies. They’ve banded together all taking issue with how things are run under Katya. They respect Sasha. Her father.”

"Criticize” by Adelita’s Way plays throughout the arena as a robed Kennedy Street slowly comes out from the back. She stands in the entrance way with her back to the ring, looking down, then up and out into the arena. Kennedy glances behind her as Trinity Street walks out with her. The two then start to head to the ring, without much of their usual fanfare.

Phillips: “And finally, accompanied by Trinity Street, from Beverly Hills, California, she is the Sexy, Flawless Diva, Kennedy Street!”

She looks around and turns and says something to Trinity. They head down to the ring before Kennedy as a shower of fireworks rain down behind her. She then slides into the ring. Trinity glances back and looks at the entrance before scanning the arena as Kennedy takes off her robe. She then walks over to Chris and then Owen. They talk a bit before Kennedy backs up to her corner.

Knots: “Good…Trinity’s out here. Good to have another person who can more than handle themselves.”

Sharper: “And with the Trueloves out of their way, the Streets beating them on New Year’s Eve, they’re focused right on Dark Fantasy.”

Knots: “And look at the ref. Not Aaron Demitra.”

Sharper: “Already a questionable start.”

“Cult of Personality” then starts to play. The crowd boos as a few moments pass and we then see Katya walk out from the back with CHBK and Alexander Crowe. Xander Valentine also walks with them and CHBK notably stands behind him as Xander looks down at the ring. He glances back at CHBK before standing on the stage behind Katya. Crowe looks down and locks eyes with Chris.

Knots: “Here we go.”

Katya has a microphone in her hand as she looks down at the ring. The music fades out.

Katya: “Owen….Chris…Kennedy…”

Katya gets more angry with each name.

Katya: “Thank you for doing your job and coming to the ring. I realize that all three don’t care about me, but I’ll be honest, I only really have a problem with one of you and more for the other two, it’s who else you’re close to.”

Sharper: “What does that mean?”

Kennedy just looks at Katya. Trinity watches her too as Owen and Chris look at one another.

Katya: “But the fact is that what I am doing here is trying to deal with a lot of problems that I’ve noticed for the last year I’ve been watching. You can all claim I’m just following Alex here or Dark Fantasy, but if you think that, you are as stupid as you look.”

The crowd boos as Kennedy rolls her eyes.

Katya: “So tonight, I figured we would level the playing field. I have always spoke of opportunity even when I came in. The opportunity Syren was owed. The opportunity Marie Jones had earned. The opportunities Scarlet Grey, and now Kandis and others are going to take advantage of. And tonight, I figured I’d start 2019 with an opportunity. An opportunity to reset. And tonight-“

???: “No, no, no…”

The crowd cheers a bit as Sasha steps out of the back, microphone in her hand. Katya looks up annoyed as she turns to the entrance way and Sasha walks right up to her.

Sasha: “I’m not going to let you play with people’s careers!”

Katya: “I’m not doing anything of the sort. I’m running the show. I’m being proactive. I’m giving them the chance too.”

Sasha: “Well I’m not going to let you take this ridiculous revenge plot any further. I don’t know what you have against them. I thought this was just that you had gotten close to Alex in the last couple of years, maybe Dark Fantasy convinced you they were nice people-“

Katya: “I am my own person. Why can’t people get that? I’m not some marionette! I just happen to agree with what they think! Dad should’ve given Syren the shot months ago. You and I both know that.”

Sasha: “Then fine…what about people like Andrew Raynes or Bree Lancaster. People’s who’s attitudes are just as bad. You ignore them.”

Katya: “Blame Selena. I was ready to sign off on that rematch.”

Sasha: “I highly doubt it.”

Katya: “Either way, get out of my way, sis.”

Sasha: “No…not while you’re standing out here with this irrational hatred of these three in the ring. You brought up their personal lives. Their health problems. Their parent’s deaths!“

Trinity looks at Kennedy as Chris and Owen look on. Owen starts to walk forward, but

Sasha: “What is wrong with you? This is not my little sister. And tonight, going around, playing these games. I figured it was a phase. Maybe Dark Fantasy is pulling the strings. It’s not. Then what?!”

Katya: “You’d never know as you were always the golden child.”

Katya then turns to the ring.

Katya: “SHE was his golden child.”

Katya points to the ring as Kennedy looks confused.

Katya: “His soon to be infeebled wife was his golden child.”

Chris then moves forward as Owen stops him.

Katya: “I can live with not being the favourite. But I’ll be damned if I’ll be ignored. Protected for years before ALL THIS, seeped into my life and changed me. The only one who was with me from the moment it all happened. The moment I got home all because someone wanted to get to dad was him…

Katya points to CHBK.

Katya: “And it’s why he’s supporting me. Just like he supported you against dad when he went off the right path…and now you’re standing in my way. You precious-“

Sasha: “This is all because dad ignored you. He didn’t ignore you.”

Katya: “I don’t care. I was sick of watching my dad have people like Kennedy, like Kelcey, attack him when he didn’t give them what he wanted, but he welcomed them back in. Hearing that they saw him as a father figure, as a source of advice. He’s my dad, Sash…You always had that…me…Well, tonight, I’m going to solve it. See, I’ve gotten the paperwork done…tonight, the three of you are going to fight in a-“

Trinity, getting ready for whatever Katya had planned, starts to tape her fists with a roll of athletic tape she had with her. Sasha looks stunned as suddenly “Cult of Personality” starts to play again. Katya stops and look saround.

Katya: “I’m not done yet! Turn MY music off.”

The music continues to play for a few moments as we then cut backstage to see a shot of Mr. D walking through the backstage area. The crowd erupts in cheers as a smile comes over the face of Kennedy, a smirk on the face of Trinity, and Chris and Owen look more relieved. Sasha does too. Katya looks up and turns to CHBK. Crowe turns to the ring.

Sharper: “Mr. D, the boss, he’s here!”

Knots: “Did he hear all that? Was he here all along?”

Sharper: “Sasha didn’t know. She looks relieved!”

The crowd continues to cheer as the music continues to play. The camera cuts to show Mr. D walking over to the tunnel. A few more moments pass before Mr. D walks through the curtain. He then looks at his daughters and rather than looking happy, he just looks disappointed. Katya turns to him, not sure how to react as Sasha turns to him. Mr. D just holds his hand up. Sasha stops and Mr. D asks for her microphone. Sasha hands it to her father as the crowd continues to cheer and Mr. D looks around before turning to his daughters. His music fades out.

Mr. D: “Before anyone says anything…I heard everything…”

Sharper: “There’s that?”

Katya: “How?”

Mr. D: “I’ve been outside in a car all night. I had hoped…hoped so much I would not have to come out here. Hoped so much that I could see the two of you somehow end this but after hearing what you just said Kat…I know that’s not going to happen.”

Mr. D looks down for a moment.

Katya: “That’s on you dad…”

Mr. D slowly looks up at her.

Mr. D: “Maybe. But you’re still young and you can’t play boss without respect for the power of all of your decisions. Sasha learned that from a younger age. And right now, at least for the rest of this show, I’m here to call the shots.”

The crowd roars.

Mr. D: “And the three of us…we’re going to talk after. But at least for this match, our final match of the night from my understanding, we’re not going to have any revenge scenarios. I don’t care what you had planned for tonight. We’re going to watch three of the best in SCW, whether present or future, go at it. We’re going to remind everyone what SCW REALLY is about. Competition in that ring. One more thing…Aaron Demitra…I know you’re nearby.”

Sasha smiles a bit. Katya rolls her eyes. The crowd roars a bit. Mr. D looks behind him as he waits. A few moments pass before Demitra steps out from the back. He walks over to Mr. D. He shakes his hand.

Mr. D: “I’m glad I hired you. You’re the official in this match. Call it as you and I both know you can.”

The crowd roars as Aaron Demitra heads to the ring.

Mr. D: “Kennedy, Owen, Chris…show the world what SCW really is about in 2019. Everyone else, get the hell out of here.”

“Cult of Personality” plays as Mr. D turns and motions to everyone to head to the back.

Sharper: “The boss is back. This family rift taking a different dimension.”

Knots: “I’ll be interested to see what happens there, but for now, wrestling is the focus here on Breakdown!”

Sharper: “And when we return, Kennedy Street, Chris Cannon and Owen Cruze in our main event!”

The scene slowly fades to black.

Breakdown returns as the crowd roars. Kennedy Street, Chris Cannon and Owen Cruze all look at one another as referee Aaron Demitra calls for the bell. The bell sounds.

Sharper: “Here we go. A main event. Three of the best going at it.”

Knots: “This is how we needed to start the New Year!”

Owen, Chris and Kennedy watch one another and Owen then runs at the ropes. Chris Cannon sidesteps and sends him in. Owen bounces off the ropes and Chris steps forward only for Owen to jump up and take him over with a flying headscissors. The crowd roars. Chris rolls over. Owen turns and Kennedy kicks him in the ribs and then nails him with a forearm shot and then another, knocking him into the ropes before firing him across. Owen bounces off and Kennedy goes for a clothesline. Owen rolls underneath. He then lands on his feet and backflips back, placing his legs on the shoulders of Kennedy. He then hits a headscissors, sending Kennedy through the ropes to the floor. Owen nips up and turns and Chris kicks him in the ribs. Chris nails him with a hard right and then another.

Sharper: “Owen keeping the pace high. Using his speed to keep two accomplished wrestlers off.”

Knots: “First Chris and then Kennie!”

Trinity looks on as Chris pushes Owen into the ropes and then fires him across. Owen bounces off and Chris to goes to grab bit, but Owen goes for another flying headscissors. Chris shakes him off, but Owen spins off and lands on his feet. Chris nails him with a clothesline. The crowd ohs and Chris goes for the pin.

Owen kicks out. Kennedy slides back in. Chris gets up and turns and Kennedy chops him in the chest. The crowd woos. He chops him again. More woos. Chris then goes for a hard right. Kennedy ducks and runs into the ropes. Chris turns around and Kennedy hits a spinning heel kick. She goes for the pin.

Chris kicks out. Kennedy rolls off. She gets up and Owen nails her with a forearm shot, knocking her into the corner.

Sharper: “Kennedy gets a two, but now Owen knocking her back.”

Knots: “Add the speed. Add the third person. This is just going to be competitive to several levels.”

Sharper: “And no one else out here. Whatever Katya had planned. It’s gone. We’re just getting a hell of a match.”

Owen grabs Kennedy and whips her across. Owen runs after and Kennedy jumps up and goes for a floatover, but twists around and rolls through into a sunset flip on Cruze.

Owen kicks out. Both get up and Chris runs at both and hits a running jumping shoulder tackle. The crowd roars. Kennedy and Owen roll over. Chris turns and grabs Owen and hooks him up and hits a snap suplex. Owen rolls away. Chris turs as Kennedy gets up and hooks her up, hitting a snap suplex on her. He gets up and hits an elbow drop before going for the pin.

Kennedy kicks out. Chris gets up as Owen turns and goes for a clothesline. Chris ducks. Both spin around and Chris hits a European uppercut. Owen falls back and to the ropes. Chris turns and walks over to Owen. He grabs him, but Owen gets free and hits a pump kick to the head. Chris falls back and down to the mat. Owen pulls himself up on the apron, but Kennedy runs over and hits a dropkick to the face. Owen falls off the apron and to the floor. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Vicious dropkick. Kennedy got all of that and Owen landing hard on the floor.”

Knots: “Opening to take out Superman now. We’ve had one superhero go down. Could another?”

Chris starts to get up and Kennedy runs over and grabs him, spinning through with the Silver Spoon. She turns and hooks the leg.

Chris gets his shoulder up. Kennedy looks up. She pulls herself up and hits a leg drop. She rolls over and gets up and hits a second leg drop. She rolls over and gets up and hits a third as Trinity applauds. Kennedy goes for the pin.

Owen dives off the top rope and hits a guillotine leg drop to the back of her head. The crowd ohs. Kennedy rolls over. Owen rolls away. Kenendy holds her head and Owen dives over Chris and onto Kennedy for the pin.

Kennedy kicks out. Owen rolls over. Chris stirs and Owen turns and runs into the ropes for some added momentum, but Chris suddenly scoops him up and hits a huge tilt-a-whirl slam. The crowd ohs and Chris pulls back on Owen’s legs.

Sharper: “Owen got caught! Just spun around and planted!”

Knots: “Owen was thinking of something for Kennedy and got something else from Chris!”

Owen pushes him off and rolls over. Owen turns and Kennedy does too. The crowd cheers as Chris gets up to his feet. Owen staggers up and Chris hoists him up onto his shoulders and flips through for the Lion’s Bite. Chris gets up and Kennedy goes for a kick. Chris catches it. He spins Kennedy around and then jumps up and hits a huge Leg Drop Bulldog. Chris goes for the pin.

Kennedy kicks out. Chris rolls over. He turns and grabs Owen. He pulls him up and whips him into the corner. He runs after and nails him with a clothesline. He then goes to whip him across. Chris runs after, but Owen gets his boots up. Chris stumbles out and Kennedy suddenly jumps up behind Chris and forces him down with an adapted Ride of Coventry! The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Kennedy diving in! Chris forced down. The whiplash to the back.”

Knots: “Kennedy wasn’t going to miss that opportunity!”

Kennedy gets up and turns and Owen runs out and goes for a clothesline. Kennedy ducks. Both spin around and Kennedy kicks Owen in the ribs and hits a DDT. The crowd roars. Kennedy goes for the pin on Owen first.

Owen kicks out. Kennedy rolls over and goes for Chris but first standing next to him and hits a standing moonsault. The crowd ohs and Kennedy hooks the leg.

Knots: “Kennie is flipping out in this one and it’s fun to watch!”

Sharper: “Moonsault! Cover!”

Chris pushes her off. Trinity looks on as Kennedy pulls herself up. She turns and Owen grabs at the ropes. Kennedy pulls him back and goes for a Russian leg sweep. She connects and rolls through. She turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and suddenly, Chris lifts her up and goes for a flapjack, but Owen gets his feet up and Kennedy lands on them. Kennedy falls back, holding her ribs. Owen rolls over and Chris grabs him and clubs him in the back and then again. He hooks him up for one of the Three Lions, but Owen knees him in the face. He then pushes back and hits the Morality Superkick. The crowd roars. Owen rolls through for the pin.

Chris gets his shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Owen looks out as the crowd stands and applauds as all three competitors are down.

Sharper: “What a battle. These three know they can compete safely and so in respect to each other, in respect to these fans, leaving it all in the ring!”

Knots: “All looking to start 2019 on the right foot too!”

Owen slowly gets up to his feet. Kennedy rolls over too, holding her ribs. Chris rolls over, holding his jaw. Owen turns and stomps Chris in the back. He turns and then runs at Kennedy and hits a running knee strike to her chest, knocking her back into the corner. Owen goes to whip Kennedy across, but Kennedy spins through and falls over, throwing Owen in. Owen however runs up the corner. Kennedy and Chris both turn as Owen dives off with a corkscrew moonsault, taking both down. The crowd roars. He turns and walks over and grabs at Kennedy. He then pulls her up and hooks her up for a vertical suplex of some sort. He hoists her up, but Kennedy spins around and lands behind Owen. She then locks in a half nelson before locking in the Naked Truth. The crowd roars as Owen tries to plant his feet as Kennedy tries to hook his leg.

Knots: “Kennedy’s trying for the Naked Truth! She’s trying to make Owen pass out!”

Sharper: “Or drive him forward into the mat! Owen trying to fight. This is something I’m sure he’s not got well scouted!”

Owen fights it a bit as Chris looks over. He then runs at both and drills both with the C4!

Sharper: “My God! C4 on both!”

Chris then gets up and falls onto both Kennedy and Owen who are both down, throwing his arms over both.

The crowd roars and Chris rolls over.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Chris Cannon!”

Sharper: “Talk about a statement! His return to SCW hasn’t been what he’s wanted it to be. Tonight, he found the moment, hit the C4 and starts 2019 with a huge win over a former World Champion and the Rookie of 2018!”

Knots: “Just fell onto both Kennie and Owen. All three just took it to one another. That’s what SCW is about.”

Sharper: “And hopefully continues to be. Mr. D is back. Chris Cannon victorious in a hell of a match to cap off the first Breakdown of 2018!”

Chris Cannon slowly starts to get up as Trinity enters the ring. She checks on Kennedy as Kennedy winces, holding her ribs. Owen holds his ribs. Chris starts to get up and has his arm raised. The crowd cheers him as he looks around. He then falls over to the ropes before turning around and walking over to Owen and reaching down to help him up as Trinity does the same for Kennedy as the scene fades to black…
