“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Simon Lyman posing with his arms out.

Maybe I'm just paranoid
Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie
Can't stop this screamin' voice
Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing Rated X posing as SCW World Tag Team Champions. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see Cassie Wolfe hitting a dive off the top rope and Adam Brock standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chance Owens, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo

This is the face
I hate the other side of me
Out of this cage
He breaks to take the life from me
Tell me, tell me, tell me
I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing Adam Allocco talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head
I'm closer to the edge
Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery
Insane
These voices in my brain
Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor lariat on an opponent is next, before we see Cassie Wolfe hitting a Shooting Star Press off the stage onto Lues. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Alexis Quinne hitting a standing shooting star press. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Kandis, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments. A steel cage hangs over the ring.

Sharper: “We return to the home of SCW, to Toronto, Canada, for the second to last stop before Rise to Greatness!”

The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before cutting to the ringside area where Adam Sharper sits with Jonathan Knots at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside everyone. Adam Sharper here alongside Jonathan Knots and tonight, you saw it over the ring, the steel cage. Polly Pingotti hopes to get what she wants – a one on one match with Selena Frost in our main event here tonight.”

Knots: “And that’s not all. Huge tag match – Kirsten Scott and Kandis will team up to face Xander Valentine and Syren. Yeah, you heard me right!”

Sharper: “One of three tag matches tonight. Twisted & Sadistic and Light in the Darkness to be also in action. So much to come tonight.”

The opening of "Whore" by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

{I'm the girl you've been thinking about, The one thing you can't live without
I'm the girl you've been waiting for
I'll have you down on your knees, I'll have you begging for more}

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face, joined by “The One” Kirsten SCott as the crowd boos. The two look out.

{I can be, I can be your eve... ry... thing}

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, then Kandis turns around, arms spread and feet wide apart as vocalist Maria Brink shouts:

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

Kandis starts down the ramp as the rest of the chorus continues, the sway in her hips ever present as she smirks at all the boos, even blowing sarcastic kisses to the crowd. Kirsten Scott ignores the crowd making her way to the ring.

Sharper: “And Breakdown begins with one of the newest partnerships in SCW – Kandis and Kirsten Scott – coming to the ring.”

Knots: “We said they’d be in action later, but looks like they want to share some thoughts.”

Sharper: “They haven’t been shy to do that. Kandis has racked up multiple fines too in recent weeks in attacking officials.”

Kandis walks up the steel steps as Kirsten pulls herself up. She enters the ring, followed by Kandis. Kirsten then heads over to the corner, demanding two microphone. She gets one and turns and tosses it to Kandis. Kandis catches it and turns and looks around as Kirsten grabs the second one. They walk around the ring as the crowd boos. The music fades out.

Kandis: “Before we start – I was told I needed to make an apology for my actions against SCW officials. Well they can kiss my ass because the only apology should come from them to me because right now, I don’t know how many of them have their heads so firmly up Selena Frost’s ass.”

The crowd roars. Kandis looks around.

Kandis: “And don’t worry, Selena. I’m still gunning for you one way or another.”

Kirsten then responds.

Kirsten: “We both are.”

Kandis: “We both are.”

Kirsten: “But instead, it seems like we have to deal with other thorns in our sides. One welcome, one not. If you look in your programs, you’ll see we are scheduled to face off against the team of Xander Valentine and Syren.”

The crowd roars.

Kandis: “Xander, if he can ever find his balls, would be a welcome challenge. He should be World Champion and thanking me, but he wanted to do it the right way. Honey – it’s like sex. The only right way is if both are happy in the end, however that is. And you could’ve made a LOT of people happy at Taking Hold of the Flame. But I don’t get what the hell Syren is doing out here with this?”

Kirsten: “Some kind of stupid Stockholm Syndrome. Xander put her career on life support, her ego unable to handle it, Lexy Chapel scheming for the last year. And now, may as well join him? Look, Syren – it wasn’t your fight, but then again, I’m happy to make it our fight because while Scott Reed can be all hurt about what I did to him two years ago, the fact is that I have my eyes on something bigger…And Syren, you fit the bill. I have no problem sending you firmly back into purgatory so you stay out of OUR way.”

Kandis: “And that is where we stand. Because we have a simple goal – Permanently shut Selena Frost up and take what we both are owed. And anyone who gets in our way-“

Before Kandis can finish, the lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits the PA system as we see Syren walking out from the back, by herself, microphone in her hand.

Sinfully Seductive

Captivatingly Corrupt

DARK FANTASY

Kandis rolls her eyes as Kirsten Scott steps forward. Syren stands on the stage and looks down.

Syren: “You want to know why I came out to help Xander? To help Scott?”

Kirsten: “You’re bored. You wanted to get your ass kicked.”

Syren: “Oh I know you’ll both try to do that, but sometimes people need to do the right thing. Simple as that. And while Lexy wants me to run that table to get back to the World Title, and yes, if that opportunity exists again, maybe, maybe I’ll refocus, but…”

Syren looks around.

Syren: “It’s be freeing to focus on something else. And after a year of trying to wipe out that ten match streak, I now am focusing on what I want to do. On doing what’s right. On competing against whomever is in front me –“

Kandis: “You expect us to believe that?”

Kirsten: “People like you Syren only know one thing and that’s ego. And we know why you’re here. Pushing Scott out of the way – thanks for that-“

Syren looks down, shaking her head.

Kirsten: “But it’s because you’re angling that Rise to Greatness you get out of the hole. We’re going to shove you back down it. First tonight and if I have my way-“

Syren: “Kirsten – spin whatever narrative you want. I’ve been out here because of my own pure motives. I’ve been on your side of the jump attacks. I’m done with it. I’m done with the hoop jumping. I loved being Adrenaline Champion. To be Tag Champs with Ravyn again was a thrill. I didn’t need the World Title there…and it may have taken a year, but Xander Valentine and I…neither of us are the same as we were a year ago-“

Just as Syren says that, a long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Soul on Fire chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio. Xander Valentine walks out from the back, microphone in his hand. The crowd cheers seeing SCW’s Executioner walk forward. He walks over to Syren, standing beside her. The two lock eyes for a moment. Xander is then shown saying “thank you” before he turns to the ring.

Xander: “You two done?”

Syren and Xander stand next to each other.

Knots: “That’s such a weird scene to see.”

Kristen: “Xander, we’re far from it.”

Kandis: “You can take advantage of that instead of doing the right thing at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Xander: “If you had something you held so dear, you wouldn’t seen my position as too farfetched, especially with limited time.”

Kandis: “First smart thing you’ve said.”

Xander: “I’ll admit after everything I said to Syren last year…even disrespecting her…this feels weird. But then again, she is right. I am not the same person I was a year ago. I have another lease on my career, but Kandis, I’m not arrogant enough to feel it will go on forever. I don’t have time for more regrets, even though you two seem to be ready for a lifetime of them. And if tonight, Syren and I have to team up to give you a taste of how you’re going to just be very angry with little to show for it for a long time…then so be it.”

Kandis: “Xander…you’re right that you don’t have much time left. Because whether it’s tonight or at Rise to Greatness, I plan to do what Syren couldn’t do…and that’s get you out of the way permanently. I just don’t need a stip to do it. Just one kick…and no matter what, well…Both of you, you eff around, you’ll find out.”

Kirsten: “FAFO…just a matter of when!”

Syren: “We’ll see about that.”

“Sonne” by Rammstein plays as the crowd looks on. Syren and Xander keep their eyes on Scott and Kandis. Kandis and Scott start to talk to one another.

Sharper: “Things already getting tense. Scott and Kandis to face Valentine and Syren in tag action later tonight!”

Knots: “And at least we now know what’s guiding them all!”

The scene cuts to commercial.

Veronica Strader vs. “The Rebel Princess” Cassie Wolfe

The big screen goes blank and the lights drop in the arena. “Cult of Personality” opening riff rips through the arena. The lights begin to flicker dark purple, pink and silver to the beat and the crucifix symbol of Veronica Strader appears on the big screen followed by the outline of a Scorpion in her signature purple.

// Look in my eyes
What do you see?
The cult of personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
I've been everything you want to be
Oh, I'm the cult of personality\\

The name Veronica Strader in large font starts to flash in silver and purple, with shots of her holding up the OCW TransAtlantic title getting a cheer reaction from the crowd . A spotlight hits the entrance way as Veronica steps out on stage. She walks to both sides of the top, amping the crowd up!

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Houston, Texas by way of London, Ontario, Canada, she is the Baba Jaga of Professional Wrestling, Veronica Strader!”

//Like Mussolini and Kennedy
I'm the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality
Neon lights, a Nobel prize
When a mirror speaks, the reflection lies
You won't have to follow me
Only you can set me free\\

Hands on her hips, her hair slicked back with water, sneer across her lips. She starts to strut down to the ring, in brand new ring of black pants, with purple scorpions on the outer parts of her hips, and a black leather crop top with the crisscrossed lace across her cleavage up to her neck underneath a black leather jacket with no sleeves and a scorpion with her crucifix on the back of it. The Baba Jaga Veronica Strader stares at the ring.

//Like Joseph Stalin and Gandhi
I'm the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality
Neon lights, a Nobel prize
When a leader speaks, that leader dies
You won't have to follow me
Only you can set you free\\

The Scorpion walks up the steel steps and wipes her boots on the apron before stepping through the second and top rope like a normal human being.

//You gave me fortune, you gave me fame
You gave me power in your god's name
I'm every person you need to be
Oh, I'm the cult of personality\\

Strader stands centre of the ring.

//I am the cult of, I am the cult of
I am the cult of, I am the cult of
I am the cult of, I am the cult of
I am the cult of, I am the cult of personality\\

She sneers as she scans the crowd who cheer her.

Sharper: “Veronica Strader came out last week and sent a clear message to Autumn Valentine and LexyCorp.”

Knots: “Yeah. Don’t mess with her!”

Sharper: “Veronica wasn’t cleared last week. She is tonight. Cassie Wolfe may be wanting to wish her visa didn’t let her come into Canada.”

The opening riff of “Wolf Within” hits the speakers and once the lyrics kick in Cassie Wolfe emerges from the back excited to start the match, with her hands on her leather jacket’s sides the rookie wrestler turns her back to the crowd.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Greenock, South Australia and now residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, “The Rebel Princess” Cassie Wolfe!”

When her name is announced Cassie spins around flashing the metal horns sign with her left hand and clapping fans hands with the other, when she reaches the ring Cassie jumps onto the apron before giving her hair a full flip and removing her jacket to give to a stagehand, she then jumps over the top rope and into the ring, rolling to her knees and basking in the moment.

Sharper: “Cassie Wolfe has shown her agility, her quickness. She’ll need every bit of it here tonight in this one. Veronica Strader is one very, very anger Baba Jaga.”

Knots: “Generally you don’t want those angry. Again, John Wick!”

The bell sounds as Veronica Strader then starts to head across the ring at Cassie Wolfe. Wolfe backs up as the crowd roars and Strader runs over and grabs Wolfe. Wolfe leans through the ropes. She looks up.

Strader moves back and Wolfe slowly steps back in. She walks along the ropes and Strader again goes after her. Wolfe backs up to the corner and again leans out. The crowd boos a bit. Wolfe looks around as Strader grabs at the face and hair.

Veronica is again backed away as Wolfe looks at her. She then looks down.

Sharper; “Strader just singular in her focus. Going for Wolfe.”

Knots: “And Wolfe knows what’s coming. Hoping to pre-empt it all.”

Veronica heads at Wolfe and Wolfe suddenly runs out and hits a forearm to the jaw and then another before kicking Strader in the thigh. The crowd looks on before Wolfe hits a jumping enziguri kick. Veronica staggers back to the ropes. She turns and Wolfe runs at her and jumps up, but Veronica lowers her head and lifts her up and over to the apron. Wolfe lands on the apron and Veronica turns around only for Wolfe to forearm her in the jaw. She then hits a pump kick, knocking Strader back. Strader spins around and Wolfe springboards to the top rope and dives forward, but Strader sidesteps. Wolfe lands on her feet and somersaults through. She turns around and runs at Strader who hits the Strader-Style. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Strader caught Wolfe. Wolfe’s luck ran out there. She was just faster and trying to do what she could to do damage.”

Knots: “Strader let the aggression cloud her until then. And now Wolfe just got her first taste of what Veronica Strader can do.”

Strader turns as Wolfe rolls over to the corner and Strader grabs her and nails her with a hard right and then another and another and another. Wolfe drops down slowly along the turnbuckle, sliding to a seated position as Strader pummels her.

Veronica is forced out of the corner and walks around the ring. She then turns and runs at Wolfe and hits a running knee to the face. The crowd ohs. Veronica turns around and walks back over to Wolfe. She then pulls her out and hits a second Strader-Style, sending Wolfe into the middle of the ring. Wolfe rolls over in pain. She gets up and Veronica doesn’t hesitate, drilling her with the A Like Supreme. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And a superkick right to the jaw!”

Knots: “I hate to say it…Lexy Chapel would be proud!”

Veronica Strader follows up with a pin attempt.

Cassie Wolfe gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and stirs as Veronica grabs her and pulls her up and elbows her in the back of the head once and then again before then going for a back suplex. Wolfe backflips through onto to her feet. Veronica turns and spins around, going for a back elbow. Wolfe ducks and then jumps up and hits a frankensteiner. The crowd ohs. Veronica rolls over and gets to a knee only for Wolfe to hit the Greenest Wizard. She drags Veronica Strader out and turns and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope and then looks at Veronica and goes for the 450 Splash. Veronica gets her knees up. The crowd ohs. Wolfe somersaults forward and gets up. Veronica fights up and lunges before Wolfe turns and hits the Welcome to Rivervale.

Sharper: “Another superkick. This one to the back. Wolfe had no chance to block it.”

Knots: “And she’s taken a quick beating here. Strader is hitting everything with intent. Probably thinking it’s Autumn Valenitne.”

Wolfe crawls to the ropes and Veronica grabs her and pulls her up and Wolfe throws a hard right, but Veronica blocks it and kicks her in the ribs. She then places her head between her legs and hoists her up before hooking her arms and hitting a Styles Clash before then stepping up and locking in the Proud & Strong. The crowd roars as Strader sits down. Cassie Wolfe yells in pain. The official checks on her before Wolfe starts to tap out. The bell sounds. Strader keeps the hold on for a moment before letting go. She steps forward.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via submission, Veronica Strader!”

Knots: “Jesus!”

Sharper: “Bending Cassie Wolfe in half after driving her into the mat. Proud & Strong and sending a strong message from a proud person to Autumn Valentine, whose frustration has put her in the eyes of Veronica Strader!”

Veronica Strader has her arm raised as she looks around the arena. She then throws her arms up in the air and looks at the Toronto crowd. They cheer her as the scene cuts away.

Sharper: “Let’s now go backstage where Jaina Lancaster is with Leroy Adams.”

The scene opens up outside of the locker rooms to see Leroy Adams standing next to Jaina Lancaster.

Jaina: “Thank you Adam. Leroy, last week, you made waves. Came funded with the help of fans and then stepped in to help Eavan Maloney. Tonight, you face Eavan Maloney. Rumours are abound that you may be in line for an Underground Title shot. But I don’t think that was your motivation last week. Was it?”

Leroy: “Look, if I get a title shot, all the better. I just wanted to show I was a good hand last week. You know – they say, do the right things. Show up. Be professional. Show you’re willing to do what’s needed. And then I just had to deal with a man who clearly needed to be told to step back. Helping Eavan was just the right thing to do.”

Jaina: “And this match tonight?”

Leroy: “Look, I’ve heard around the back that Eavan isn’t the happiest I saved her. Look, I was just doing what I would hope any decent God-fearing person would. But ultimately, I need to compete and I need to win to get more money to help my situation. So…that’s just how it is. Anything else, whether it’s the Underground Championship or a shot to knock James Evans for a loop in that ring, I’ll take it if SCW gives it to me. I’m just not going to toss up opportunities. Simple as that.”

Jaina: “Thanks for your time and good luck tonight.”

Leroy nods.

Jaina: “Leroy Adams will face Eavan Maloney later tonight. That and much more to come! Breakdown returns after this!”

Jaina smiles as the scene fades out.

Breakdown returns as Veronica Strader walks down the hallway. She runs her hand through her hair as Destiny Page comes over to her.

Page: “Veronica Strader, can I get a word-“

Strader: “Do you really need more after what I just did out there to Wolfe? Fine…I’ll make this straightforward. Autumn Valentine! Fall St. Patrick…Lexy Chapel. Whoever…you unleashed this. You could’ve just let things play out in the tournament, but costing me my first potential taste to SCW gold and making it so I couldn’t compete…well, you want the title. You got to get through me to get it. One way or another. And I’m not going to stop!”

Strader pauses.

Strader: “Because while God forgives…I don’t!”

Strader walks off as the crowd roars and Breakdown returns to the ring.

Bree Lancaster vs. Scott Reed

The arena goes dark and a  voice can be heard saying ”And the story goes…a young man will come…to save the universe from the forces of evil…

The voice dies down for a few moments before “I Will” by Eminem featuring KXNG Crooked, Royce da 5'9" & Joell Ortiz kicks in.

“And I don't think that I can stop it, here it comes…I do my best to try to block it, redrum…I've been sipping on like, vodka, head's numb...I'm blacking out, you better watch it, it's bedlam…”

The lights come back on and Scott Reed steps out from the entrance way, the crowd erupting in cheers.

“I thought I heard a voice in my head that said, "Kill"
I had no other choice that was left except fill
My pencil full of poisonous lead, the devil
He wants me to murder this beat, so I will”

Reed makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans along the way. He reaches the ring and goes up the ring steps. Going across the apron, he looks out at the crowd once again as they continue to cheer. Climbing into the ring, Reed goes to the center.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. Introducing, weighing in at two-hundred and twenty pounds, hailing from New York City, New York…he is…Scott! Reed!”

“He told me there are doubters who question my skill
They wanna put my style to the test, am I still
The best? They want the crown on my head, I said, "Chill
If you want me to murder this beat, then I will"

Reed climbs up to the top rope and points to the center of his chest, mouthing the words, ‘I will’ as the music dies down. Hopping down from the turnbuckle, he leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Scott Reed with another opportunity. The Adrenaline Champion to face him in non-title combat.”

Knots: “Yeah, it’s an opportunity. But not the one he wants. He wants Kirsten Scott. Syren is the one standing in for him and I think that irks him. It should!”

The lights dim, only a few small ones on the stage as the voice of Bree Lancaster whispers:

“I am the light of the truth
The one who sees right through”

A guitar riff plays as the small lights dance around the stage, then suddenly stop, as one large beam shines down onto the figure of Bree herself.

“Spotlight”

The smaller lights begin again swirling as the music of “Spotlight” by Fozzy kicks in and Bree makes her way down the ramp. The SCW Adrenaline Championship is around her waist.

Phillips: “His opponent, from New Orleans, Louisiana, she is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, Bree Lancaster!”

[I am the light of the truth, The one who sees right through
I know your every move, I got my eye on you
Go on and bury it down, I follow you 'til it's out
I got my eye on you, I got my eye on you]

Bree smiles at the front row fans as she gets to the ring and goes up the steps, stepping through the ropes. She goes to a corner and gets on the second turnbuckle, posing with one hand up overhead. The crowd cheers.

[You're the wicked, I'm a sharp knife
Shining on you like a spotlight
I'm a witness, I'm a dark night]

The lights go down, and one beam shines on Bree in the corner.

[You're a sickness, I'm your spotlight]

The lights come up and Bree hops down as the music fades out. Bree gets to her corner and looks around. She hands off the title and turns to Reed.

Sharper: “And Bree Lancaster meanwhile goes to this challenge. Certainly one she’ll take seriously, but then the eccentric Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO awaits her at Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “Don’t worry, we’ll have the promos in subtitles for those who don’t speak Kawaii or Cajun!”

The bell sounds. Bree and Reed circle before moving toward one another and Bree lunges forward, going for a single leg takedown. Reed falls back and Bree moves forward into a side headlock. Reed reaches around and rolls to his stomach. He starts to get up and pushes on Bree’s body and manages to slide his head out. He then jumps forward into a side headlock. Bree pushes him off. Both get up and Bree hits an arm drag. Reed rolls through and gets up and Bree forearms him in the jaw. She then runs him into the ropes. Reed hits the ropes chest first and backrolls back to his feet. Bree runs at him and hits a dropkick. She then quickly goes for the pin.

Reed kicks out. He rolls over and moves to the ropes, moving then to the corner.

Sharper: “Reed getting a taste of Bree’s style. And quickly stepping up, maybe also reminding everyone what she is capable of.”

Knots: “She’s been doing that. Beat Deanna Frost a couple of weeks ago. I know people are focusing on Josh, but I don’t think she’s going to mind!”

Sharper: “Especially if he defeats Selena Frost at Rise to Greatness.”

Bree then kicks Reed in the ribs. She forearms him and then goes to whip him across. Reed spins through and sends her into the corner. Bree hits the corner. Reed runs after and hits a running forearm. He then grabs Bree and hits a snapmare. He then dropkicks him in the back of the head and dives on her for the pin.

Reed kicks out. Reed gets up and moves to the corner. Bree follows up and kicks him in the ribs. She then runs out and hits a facebuster. Reed rolls to his back. Bree turns and then grabs his leg. She lifts it up and kicks at it. Reed grimaces in pain. Bree holds on and kicks it again. Reed pulls away and slides back to the corner.

Sharper: “And Bree Lancaster now focusing on the leg. Already putting that target into play for the Crescent Lock.”

Knots: “If Scott Reed can figure it out, it’s doing him a favour. The One Kirsten Scott would do the same. If he ever faces her…there’s good experience.”

Reed gets to the corner and Bree heads over and goes for the leg, but Reed clubs her in the back once and then again. She steps back and Reed leans back in the corner and brings his feet up, kicking her in the face. Bree rolls back. Reed then runs out and jumps up and hits an inverted leg drop bulldog. He rolls through and then dives onto Bree.

Bree kicks out. She rolls over and Reed gets up and elbows her in the back of the head. He then hits a Russian leg sweep. He rolls over and moves to the corner. He then jumps to the middle rope and then to the top rope and dives off with a rounding splash, but Bree gets her knees up. The crowd ohs. Reed rolls through and then gets up and Bree gets up and hits the BOGO. The crowd ohs. She walks around the ring as Reed grabs his chest, climbing up into the corner. Bree runs at him and shoulders him in the ribs. She rears back and does it again. She goes for a third, but Reed gets his knee up and then he jumps to the middle turnbuckle and then lands on her back and hits a Code Red sunset flip bomb! The crowd ohs. He stays down for the pin.

Bree kicks out and rolls away.

Sharper: “Nearfall as Reed hit that explosive sunset flip bomb! Bree got the shoulders up.”

Knots: “And Reed made an impact!”

Reed gets up and Bree grabs at the ropes. Reed then kicks her in the ribs. She pops back and turns and Reed grabs her by the head and hits a standing shiranui into a pin.

Bree kicks out again. She rolls over and to the ropes. Reed runs over to her from behind and goes for a German suplex, but Bree blocks it. He tries again. Bree blocks it again and elbows him in the jaw once and then again. Reed turns around and Bree turns and hits the Priceless. Reed drops to the mat. Bree heads over and rolls him over, hooking the leg.

Reed gets his shoulder up. Bree rolls over to his knee. She quickly handstands on it briefly only to then knee Reed’s knee. Reed pulls away and rolls away. He moves to the ropes and gets up and turns around and Bree runs at him and hits a basement dropkick to the knee. Reed flips forward to the mat. Bree then gets up and grabs his legs. She spins through for the Crescent Lock, but as she spins around, Reed fires her off with his boot. She hits the ropes and Reed spins around her, hoisting her up and then dropping her with the Unmasked!

Sharper: “Unmasked! Bree driven into the mat!”

Knots: “Holy crap! The guy’s looking confident here!”

Sharper: “Or just doesn’t have the chance to think and that can be just as helpful!”

Reed rolls her over for the pin.

1!

2!

Bree Lancaster gets her shoulder up. She rolls to her side as Reed gets up and walks around the ring. He then stomps her in the chest once and then again before running across the ring. He bounces off and goes for a standing shooting star press, but Bree gets her knees up and then pulls him over for an inside cradle.

1!

2!

Reed kicks out. Both get up and Bree hits a hard kick to the left knee of Reed, dropping him to a knee. Bree then looks at him before then spinning though into the Instant Karma. The crowd ohs. Bree drops down and hooks the leg.

1!

2!

Reed shoots his shoulder up.

Sharper: “Only two! And Instant Karma not enough!”

Knots: “That’s better for someone else. Like Selena or Kristen. Then karma may be more powerful!”

Bree rolls over as Scott Reed moves to the corner.

YUYO: “YUYO IS HERE!”

The crowd roars as Bree turns to the entrance way as the arena darkens before:

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan

The Nyan cat appears on the screen, with the crowd popping. The cat in a poptart, farting rainbows steers around and breaks right into the screen, showing a window crack before breaking. At that moment, “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL’s opening riffs plays, and the girls' voice count:

One-Two
One-Two-Three-Four!

Out pops YUYO from behind the curtains. Bright white light now shines down on the stage, following YUYO. Mister Meowkazawa follows her to stand behind her. A moment later, her fellow Shining Maidens of SCW members join her as well. NEMO and SAWA pose at either side of YUYO. YUYO steps up to the top of the ramp and places her hands on her hips. Meowkazawa hands her the magical staff, Gríðarvölr. She spins the staff around with a display of talent, the long purple and white ribbons attached to the staff’s end flash. When she stops, she thrusts one hand forward while holding the staff behind her back.

YUYO: “HA!”

Sharper: “YUYO coming out here…she’ll challenge Bree Lancaster for the Adrenaline Championship at Rise to Greatness. But can’t this wait until after!”

Bree gets up, wincing in pain. Scott leans in the corner. YUYO springs down the ramp, staff in hand, she tosses it into the ring as she slides in under the bottom rope. She pops to her feet, picks up the staff again in a single stride, and then stands proud as NEMO and SAWA enter as does Mr. Meowkazawa. YUYO has a microphone in her hand.

YUYO: “YUYO is here. She has decided your match is over! She needs to speak!”

Bree just looks at her and then to Scott. Scott looks at Bree.

YUYO: “Respect your number one contender, please!”

The official walks over to ask YUYO to leave. YUYO just furrows her brow looking at her as Meowkazawa tries to interject. We then see Brilliant Sun Princess YUSA run down from the back. She slides into the ring. She then walks before YUYO and just grabs the official and throws them out of the ring. Scott heads over to the official as Bree does too.

YUYO: “YUSA! You’re supposed to stay backstage.”

YUSA just says something to her, apparently apologizing.

YUYO: “You did deal with the disrespect from the zebra. YUSA…we will talk later. We still need to figure out why you are here?”

NEMO just looks down, shaking her head. Bree looks confused as Scott then steps through the ropes. He drops down, presuming the match is over.

Sharper: “Reed leaving. And you can see Bree Lancaster’s confusion turning to frustration.”

Knots: “Miss prove it in the ring…”

Bree turns away, taking a deep breath.

YUYO: “Anyway, sorry to interrupt, but this is important. You will face YUYO for the Adrenaline Championship at Rise to Greatness! YUYO went through EVERYONE to be here. This after proving she is the third best wrestler in SCW at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

The crowd roars.

Knots: “She was third last…”

Sharper: “Bree wasn’t in the battle royal…”

YUYO: “YUYO wanted you to know Bree. There will be no hard feelings when I become the Adrenaline Champion. EXPLOSION! It is only YUYO’s time to take her throne and for the Shining Maidens to survive in their voyage. I hope you understand!”

YUYO extends her hand to Bree.

YUYO: “FOR JUSTICE!”

Bree looks at YUYO, confused, looking around. YUYO then suddenly pulls her hand away, posing as the Shining Maidens pose with her, moving into position. YUSA stands to the side before sliding down on her knees next to YUYO. YUYO, SAWA and NEMO all look at her, more uncertain. Bree just looks down as YUYO’s music plays.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster is about to embark on the oddest title defense she’ll ever have.”

Knots: “YUYO is a threat though.”

Sharper: “She knows. She knows.”

YUYO continues to pose before Breakdown cuts away.

Backstage, Selena Frost walks over to CHBK who is talking to Lucas Knight. Knight looks up and nods before mockingly saluting and heading off. CHBK turns to Selena.

CHBK: “How are you tonight, Selena?”

Selena: “Oh just thinking about things…like, who’s sick joke is tonight’s main event?”

CHBK: “Polly wanted to face you one on one. I wanted to make sure that it was one on one. I mean, not everyone is covered by your contracts. I would hope you’d like that.”

Selena: “Or are you hoping I’ll get injured. Senselessly adding such a stipulation when your staff doing its job would suffice. And moreover, I understand Polly is angry. But I’ve recently beaten her.”

CHBK: “Not definitively and not one on one.

Selena: “Again…whenever everyone needs an army but me…”

CHBK: “You’re just making new enemies. And in those matches, they could do what they could. Rules allowed. You know that. And you used to relish those challenges.”

Selena: “I also was naïve and assumed people would actually care about competition.”

CHBK: “Well Polly cares. Trust me there.”

Selena: “Yeah…I’m sure. Josh better have something similar waiting for him.”

CHBK: “Don’t worry, Selena. He does. But unlike you…he’s looking forward to it.”

Selena: “I’m sure you gave him a proper opponent.”

CHBK: “Don’t worry. I did. Believe it…or not.”

Selena looks at CHBK.

Selena: “Just focus on getting me proper competition for the World Title. You’re not going to have too many more legends and ringers to step up to the call when I’m done with Josh Hudson.”

Selena turns and walks off as CHBK watches her leave and the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we open up at ringside. The cameras cut to the announce position where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Last week, we received word of a situation at Impact Media’s offices in Los Angeles caused by the European Fiery Nation. Konrad Raab pled innocent, but SCW officials have managed to obtain a copy of the security footage.”

Knots: “We have our own TMZ!”

Sharper: “Or a staff that is trying to get to the bottom of this. And SCW has made the decision to show the footage, explaining what had happened. There is no sound, but allow us to see what took place.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

LAST WEEK – IMPACT MEDIA SECURITY FOOTAGE – MAIN ENTRANCE

We see a camera pointed at the front desk of the building. We then see the receptionist jump as we see Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson step forward. A security guard heads over and puts his hand up only for Theron to jab a piece of lumber into the ribs of the guard and Eriksson knocks them down with a shot. Theron then turns and slams the lumber on the desk. The receptionist backs up. We can’t hear what is being said or see Dakon or Ludvig’s lips.

Sharper: “You can see what is clearly Ludvig Eriksson and Dakon Theron threatening the front desk receptionist and attacking security.”

Knots: “They’re yelling at her. I’m guessing. Dakon’s back is turned.”

Dakon appears to continue to yell at the receptionist, before Ludvig Eriksson walks around the desk and yells at the receptionist. We then see him point to the desk before shoving her down and then grabbing a book and looking through it. He then turns and slams his piece of lumber into the computer, smashing the monitor. He then threatens the receptionist again before grabbing the phone. Dakon reaches over and grabs the receiver. The receptionist looks terrified as she then says something. Ludvig turns to the receptionist again. Theron then grabs the phone, lifting it up and throwing it into the back. He then turns with Ludvig. Ludvig walks around the desk before the receptionist grabs at something. Dakon then throws the lumber into the window. It bounces off before he grabs it and throws it at the window again, causing it to shatter. Ludvig then points and Dakon turns and motions to Ludvig. They leave through another door, instead going out the front. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Eriksson and Theron threatened the receptionist, destroying property, before then leaving through another door.”

Knots: “The first cop car apparently is what was appearing there at the end. Theron and Eriksson got out of there, but…”

Sharper: “If you think the EFN was operating alone…”

Knots: “I’m not that stupid. Then again, Raab isn’t exactly subtle!”

Sharper: “And they weren’t either. And EFN are here…about to be in action. I don’t know what to think here.”

Knots: “They’re not suspended?!”

Light in the Darkness vs. European Fiery Nation

Underground Rules

Off To War by Behemoth plays over the sound system with the lights being dark as ever as Ginny stands in the middle, Ludvig on the left and Dakon on the right-hand sides, looking at the crowd and got heavy boos. When the lights briefly came back on, you see Dakon, Ludvig and Ginny waving their Norway, Sweden and German flags.

Phillips: “The following contest is an underground rules match scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, making their way to the ring, accompanied by Ginny Raab, coming from Sweden and Norway, they are Ludvig Eriksson and Dakon Theron, known as The European Fiery Nation."

The lights go out again as they walk down to the ring with their flags. They reach the ringside area and step up the stairs. They enter the ring and they gave their flags to Ginny. She steps back as Eriksson and Theron pace around the ring, eying around the arena.

Sharper: “And these two…they’re headed to the ring.”

Knots: “So is Konrad getting targeted here? What’s going on here? They shouldn’t be allowed here after what they did. Lock em up!”

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. “In the Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan Kicks begins to play, the LED screens flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front of a starry night sky with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re slowly shifting and dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully glide through the sky. One spotlight comes to life on the left side of the stage from the camera’s perspective, revealing Amelia Blythe standing underneath it, eyes focused on the ring and a small smile on her lips as her hands are folded in front of her, giving her the look of a proper young lady. A second spotlight comes to life on the right side of the stage, revealing La Pequeña Luz standing underneath it with the kind of grin that could light up a room all on its own as she motions with her hands for the fans to get pumped up, which they immediately proceed to do. The two slowly turn their attention to one another and begin closing the distance, their spotlights following them as they stop within arm’s reach of one another, where Amelia extends her hand and Luz takes it before they pull their bodies close, the spotlights merging into one piercing through the darkness.

Phillips: “And their opponents, they are the team of Amelia Blythe and La Pequena Luz, they are Light in the Darkness!”

When the song goes into the chorus, the two ladies begin to literally waltz their way down to the ring, fast and fluid to keep pace with the song as the spotlight follows their every move, leaving fans mesmerized by their synergy. As the chorus reaches its end and the two find themselves at the bottom of the ramp, they push away from one another as far as their arms will allow without letting go before quickly pointing to the LED screens with their free hands, where the night scene is immediately engulfed in white before transitioning to a video package of the two ladies in action, both together and individually. Slowly, the two release one another, the single spotlight splitting in two again as Amelia makes her way up the steps to walk across the apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz, meanwhile, hops up onto the apron right in front of her and grabs the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees, cupping her hands together in front of her while Amelia stands right behind her, hands folded before her once again. As Luz lifts her cupped hands upward, the arena lights slowly begin to come back on as Amelia takes her hands and pulls her to her feet, spinning her around one final time into a tight embrace and a soft kiss before the two move to their corner to prepare for battle, with both girls shedding their robes and Amelia also removing her mask.

Sharper: “European Fiery Nation to face arguably the most on the up-and-up teams in SCW history. Light in the Darkness will play to the rules they can here, but they don’t take shortcuts.”

Knots: “That could be good or bad for Light in the Darkness. But if they lose here, they may just spiral more and more even if they did agree to take their rematch at Rise to Greatness.”

Sharper: “Light in the Darkness to face Twisted & Sadistic and Team Desire in a triple threat, elimination, Tag Team Championship match.”

The bell sounds and Dakon and Ludvig run at Amelia and Luz. Dakon kicks Amelia in the ribs and nails her with a couple of hard rights as Ludvig tackles Luz back into the corner. Luz tries to get a few shots in, but both get up only for Ludvig to turn and throw Luz through the ropes to the floor. Ludvig then exits as Dakon runs Amelia across, sending her face first into the neutral top turnbuckle. She turns and Dakon pulls her out and hit a hip throw. Ludvig grabs a chair from under the ring. He turns only for Luz to dropkick it back into his face.

Sharper: “And quickly this match just going into high gear. Everything legal.”

Knots: “Yeah. What’s the point of tags? You can’t get disqualified!”

Sharper: “And this is turning into just a brawl. Dropkick by Luz. Giving herself her first offense.”

Ludvig falls back as Luz then turns and grabs the chair and throws it into the side of Ludvig Eriksson’s head. He falls down to the mats. Luz then rolls into the ring as Theron elbows Amelia in the chest and Luz runs at him as he gets up and jumps up and hits a flying headscissors. He rolls through and then gets up and runs at Luz. Luz ducks and then back flips back into a headscissors. She pushes off and twists and Amelia hits a European uppercut to the face of Theron and Theron staggers before Luz snaps him down to the mat. He rolls to the floor. Amelia and Luz check on one another before they nod. Luz then runs at Theron on the floor and Amelia to Eriksson. Amelia hits a baseball slide as Luz dives through the ropes and hits a tope suicida, knocking Theron into the barricade!

Sharper: “Luz and Amelia, both taking their own approaches to Eriksson and Theron on the floor!”

Knots: “Luz in the air. Amelia a bit more pragmatic. Both work!”

Luz slowly gets up as Amelia pulls herself to the floor. Amelia grabs at Eriksson and pulls him up. She hits a European uppercut and then another. She goes to run him into the steel steps. Instead, Eriksson hops over as Amelia stops herself at the steps. Eriksson then turns and dropkicks the steps into her. She falls over, in pain, holding her legs. Luz hits an overhead chop to the chest of Theron and then another before grabbing him by the arm and running up the steel steps and pushing off the ringpost and into an arm drag. Theron goes over. The crowd ohs. Luz goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Theron kicks out. Eriksson then pulls out a table and lifts it up, and unfolds it. He places it next to the ring. He turns and heads over to Amelia. He clubs her in back once and then again. Luz sees this and Eriksson pulls Amelia up onto the apron. Luz hops onto the apron and spins around. She jumps up onto Eriksson for a destroyer, but Eriksson catches her and then falls back, driving her, with him on top, through the table! The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Luz! Sacrificing herself!”

Knots: “I don’t think that was the plan!”

Sharper: “I think she hoped to take him down, but Eriksson saw her coming at the last moment. And instead of Amelia Blythe going through the table, Luz did!”

Eriksson grimaces in pain and rolls over. Amelia sees Luz down and then looks at Eriksson and dives off with a somersault of her own, taking Eriksson down. She turns and checks on Luz. Luz nods and winces, rolling over. The crowd roars as we see Theron running around the ring, steel chair in hand and he then heads at Amelia and shotputs the chair into the face of Amelia. The crowd ohs. Theron then turns and walks over and stomps Luz for good measure before pulling Eriksson up. He grabs Amelia and rolls her into the ring. Theron rolls in after as Eriksson moves to the ring, looking under it and grabbing another steel chair and the one thrown by Theron. He throws both into the ring. He looks underneath and smiles before pulling out a piece of lumber. Eriksson chuckles to himself and rolls into the ring.

Knots: “Subtle, huh?”

Sharper: “Two chairs. A 2x4.”

Knots: “Too bad they didn’t bring the Impact Media banner!”

Theron grabs Amelia and Amelia nails him in the ribs with a shot and then another before Eriksson clubs her in the back. Amelia leans back and Eriksson grabs the lumber, placing it around Amelia’s face and throat and then throwing himself back with a lumber-assisted Swedish leg sweep. Theron recovers, grabbing the steel chairs and unfolding both, placing them next to one another, seat to seat. Amelia rolls over as Luz starts to pull herself up at the barricade. Eriksson turns to Amelia as Theron then kicks her in the ribs. He hoists her up with Eriksson’s help and hits an assisted powerbomb into the chair seats. The crowd ohs. Theron smirks as he walks around. He then drops down for the pin as Luz pulls something out from under the ring.

1!

2!

She climbs to the apron and springboards up. Eriksson goes to stop her. Luz jumps over her, revealing a barbed wire wrapped chair and hits a double stomp into the chair, driving it into Theron’s back. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “Luz this time successful in saving Amelia!”

Knots: “And holy crap! A barbed wire wrapped chair!”

Sharper: “Luz has shown she can thrive in the Underground too!”

Luz turns and Eriksson spins around her and hits a bridging German suplex.

1!

2!

Luz gets her shoulder up. She moves to the corner. Eriksson then heads to her and nails her with a hard right and then another before then running her out and throwing her into one of the mangled chairs. He then grabs her and pulls her up, but Amelia gets up and runs behind Eriksson, hooking him up and hitting a release dragon suplex. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Amelia’s turn to help Luz!”

Knots: “And just snapped Eriksson onto the back of his neck!”

Eriksson rolls over as Luz and Amelia stir and get up. They turn to Theron and pull him up. The crowd then roars, many booing, as we see Konrad Raab, annoyed, storming down to the ring with his German mace. He reaches the ring as Luz and Amelia strike Theron a couple of times before Luz runs into the ropes one way and Amelia the other. Luz hits the ropes, but Konrad Raab runs over and meets the ropes, slamming the mace into the back of Luz. Luz rolls over, arching her back in pain. Amelia hits Theron with a running European uppercut instead. She rolls over and sees Luz down. Raab slides in as Amelia gets up and runs over to him and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Raab shoves her back and into Theron and Eriksson who get back up and they hit a double flapjack on Amelia. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Raab out here! Supporting his team! And he knows the impact of this match.”

Knots: “Luz knows the impact of that mace, as Amelia knows the impact to the mat!”

Raab gets up and motions for Luz to be pulled up. Theron and Eriksson head over to her and pull her up. They then run her forward and Raab drives the end of the mace into her stomach. She drops down. Raab looks at Amelia as Theron and Eriksson turn and grab her. The crowd boos loudly before suddenly, the boos turn to massive cheers as we see Shaun Cruze, wearing slacks, and a dress shirt, sleeves rolled up, while brandishing what looks like a police baton. The crowd roars as he runs down to the ring.

Sharper: “My God! Shaun Cruze! Shaun Cruze is here!”

Knots: “Crossing borders! And look at Raab!”

Raab turns, smiling. He then motions to him as Cruze runs down to the ring and slides in. He rolls up to his feet and Raab swings the mace, but Cruze ducks and then nails Theron in the throat with the police baton. He turns and nails Eriksson in the ribs before drilling him in the head with it, dropping him to his hands and knees. Raab then turns and grabs him and kicks him in the ribs before rearing the mace up and Cruze nails him in the ribs with the baton before hitting him again in the stomach and then hard in the jaw. Raab staggers back and Cruze backs up, extending the baton along his arm before running forward and drilling Raab with  clothesline, driving the baton into his jaw, sending him up and over. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Cruze assaulting Konrad Raab, sending him to the floor!”

Knots: “And he’s not done yet!”

Cruze drops down to the floor after Raab. Raab starts to get up as Cruze nails him with a hard right. He then grabs him and nails him again. Raab fires back a few shots as the cameras follow  Cruze and Raab fighting to the back. The officials run out from the back, trying to curb this. Instead, Cruze keeps attacking Raab, causing him to stagger up the rampway and the curtains. Back in the ring though, Theron gets up only for Amelia and Luz to recover enough. They run in opposite directions, bouncing off and hitting Theron with the Wisteria Waltz.

Sharper: “And back in the ring! Remember! Underground rules!”

Knots: “They did!”

Sharper: “Wisteria Waltz!”

Amelia crawls over to Theron.

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds and Amelia rolls off. She then heads over to Luz, who winces in pain from the mace shots.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Amelia Blythe & La Pequena Luz, they are the Light in the Darkness!”

Sharper: “Despite Konrad Raab’s involvement and the timely save from Shaun Cruze, no slide back for Light in the Darkness!”

Knots: “Probably not how they wanted to win, but a win still tastes good…after the count how many ribs Luz has left after those mace shots.”

Amelia helps Luz up and they raise their arms. The crowd looks on cheering them as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Shaun Cruze storming over to the office of Alex “CHBK” Desoubrais. Desoubrais, meanwhile, is on his way to meet him.

CHBK: “Shaun-“

Cruze: “Do whatever you need to do. Sign me in a match with him. Rise to Greatness! If it’s going to be one of the last times in an SCW ring, I better do something worth it and that’s beating some sense into that violent jackass!”

The crowd roars hearing this.

CHBK: “Are you sure?”

Cruze: “He can send his team to go after me. But my employees. People I’m responsible for. Screw that. He needs to know where the line is as he’s done crossing it! Sign the damn match, Alex!”

The crowd roars as Cruze turns and starts to head off. CHBK turns off camera and we see Dean Black jog past. CHBK turns back to watch Cruze leave as the scene cuts away.

Derek Adonis vs. Kimberly Williams

Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.  Introducing first, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 270 pounds, DEREK ADONIS!

KABLAAAAAAAAAAM!!!

The sound of a xylophone scale is heard, signifying the start of the KABLAMian Taberacle Choir's jingle, "Come In KABLAMia"...

Derek Adonis rolls out atop the ramp on a cloud, alongside a number of the citizens of KABLAMia: Sweet Sangria, Mimi Mimosa, Het Meisje, and Anastasia Fantasia among them. The crowd rise to their feet in a raucous applause at the display of flesh in front of them...

Welcome to the land that loves below the belt

The sky’s are clear and pleasure is felt

Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia

Adonis partially rises to his knees, waving out to the crowd as chants of "KABLAM" ring out throughout the arena. The cloud continues to roll it's way down the ramp.

Where fun-loving people can give right in

To a Man Mountain utopia where everyone wins

Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia

Sweet Sangria always dressed in smile

Many men and women will go the extra mile

Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia

The women on the cloud toss out small, travel-sized bottles of Derek Adonis Heavy KABLAM Lubricant and folded up travel brochures to the crowd.

The lube flows freely, never enough

It’s a copyrighted formula, the right stuff

But even still they make you feel right at home

Whether you love cleaning the carpet or polishing chrome

The cloud makes it to the bottom of the ramp and Adonis hops off first, reaching up to help the four primary women off. They step down, each planting a kiss on the cheek of Man-Mountain before heading up the stairs. Adonis follows up last and pulls himself through the ropes, lifting them for the four women to enter the ring as well.

We don’t kink-shame here, it never allowed

It’s a comfortable place while you’re being plowed

Your greatest dreams are always on tap

Your can register now with our convenient app

Adonis moves around to the four corners, climbing onto the bottom rope to throw out travel brochures as far as he can.

That’s right, KABLAM is expanding…

It’s the dream of Derek Adonis

Come in KABLAMia, sunny KABLAMia

We mean YOU!

After finishing (heh), Adonis moves to the middle of the ring, posing with the four women around him. As the song ends, he bellows out with it...

Adonis: "KABLAAAAAAAAAAAAM!"

Phillips: And his opponent…

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play.  A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"

"Hey, how long you been here?"

"I wanna go home"

"Hey, hahaha"

"Hahaha"

"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"

"Hahaha"

"I want to go home"

"Hahaha"

"Mommy, mommy"

Phillips: From Boston, Massachusetts, representing the Queens of Chaos, she is the “Queen of the Death Match” KIMBERLY WILLIAMS!

The song begins to rage full bore now.  Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans.  A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight.  She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it.  She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope.  Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans.  The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.

Adonis goes for a lariat but Kimberly ducks under, turns, and connects with a discuss elbow and an axe kick.  Adonis goes for another lariat but Kim ducks and this time lands a pele kick. Adonis drops to his knees.  Kim connects with a superkick to the side of his head and he goes down.  He rolls to the ring apron.  Kimberly with a Morrigan’s Wrath superkick sends him falling off the apron and to the outside.  Williams then takes a running start and launches herself over the top taking out Adonis.

Sharper: “And Kim over the top! Why not! Why not go high-risk right off the bat!”

Knots: “Derek did say he wanted to go to the underground a while back…”

Williams pulls Derek back to his feet.  She whips him, sending him crashing knees first into the steel steps.  Kim smirks devilishly as she goes over to Wasley, seated in the corner, and asks for advice.  Kim then turns her attention back to Adonis and rolls him back into the ring.  Kim reenters the ring and drapes Derek’s leg across the bottom rope.  She leaps up and drops her entire body weight on his leg three times before dragging him out to the center and applying a leg grapevine.

Sharper: “And Kim, who has been hinting that her time in the Underground could be coming to an end, showing why her potential is quite notable.”

Knots: “As she’s trying to torture Derek Adonis!”

Derek eventually reaches the ropes to force the break.  Kim drags him back out to the center and attempts to step through for a figure four but Adonis kicks her in the ass, sending her into the turnbuckle.  Kimberly staggers out of the corner and he drops her with a running shoulder tackle.  Derek whips her into the corner and charges in with a corner splash.  Derek with a body slam and then a big splash onto Kim.  He covers, hooking a leg…

…2Kickout!

Derek hooks Kimberly and delivers a fallaway slam.  He then drops her with a full nelson sit out drop.  Derek drops a leg across her throat.  He pulls Kim up and locks in a bear hug.

Sharper: “And Derek Adonis just using his strength. His size.”

Knots: “Or he’s just giving her a hug!”

Kimberly uses her fists and elbows to eventually force the break.  Derek runs off the ropes but Kim with a low dropkick to his already injured leg.  Kimberly with a chop block to the leg and then applies an inverted figure four.  Derek still won’t give in.  He fights to the ropes, eventually reaching them to force the break.  Kimberly goes up to the second rope and stays perched as Derek pulls himself up.  Kim with a second rope blockbuster.  Kim then applies an STF.

Sharper: “And back to a hold, this time, the STF.”

Knots: “Adonis is finding out that BDSM can be free!”

Derek eventually reaches the ropes to force the break.  She pulls Derek back up and goes for an Irish whip but he reverses sending her into the corner.  Derek rushes in with a stinger splash before sending her out of the corner with a fallaway slam.  Derek into the cover…

Derek drops an elbow across Kimberly’s prone form, and then a second, and then a third.  He pulls her back up and drops her with a suplex.  He hangs on, rolls through, and then hoists her up for what might be a brainbuster but Kim slips out from behind and chop blocks his leg again.  She hits the ropes and goes for Shadowblade but Adonis manages to avoid it.  Derek with a sit out power bomb.  Another cover by Adonis…

2…Kickout!

Derek whips Kimberly into the ropes and delivers a high back body drop.  He goes for a splash but Kim rolls out of the way.  Kim with a scissors kick.  Kim kips up to her feet.  Then she decides to borrow from her sister with a springboard moonsault, the Divine Impact, but Adonis rolls out of the way.  Kim lands on her feet.  Derek pops back up as Kim charges.  Derek back drops her over the top and to the outside.

Sharper: “Kim with a hard landing. Up and over to the floor!”

Knots: “If this was underground rules, that’s one thing. Not the best here!”

Derek goes out after Kim. He pulls her up but she quickly boots him in the gut and then whips him into the steel steps again, sending him knees first into the steel.  Kim goes and pulls him back to his feet and rolls him back into the ring.  Kim ascends to the top turnbuckle and waits as Adonis tries to negotiate his way back up.  Kim leaps off the top but Adonis catches her in mid-air and drops her with a sit out power bomb!

Sharper: “Powerbomb!”

Knots: “Not going for the pin though. What’s wrong with you Derek?!”

He pulls Kimberly back to her feet before whipping her into the corner.  He goes for another stinger splash but this time Kim moves out of the way and Derek hits the corner turnbuckle hard. Derek staggers out.  Kimberly connects with a ruthless roundhouse kick.  He drops to his hands and knees.  Kim waits as he pushes himself back up.  She snatches hold of his leg and snaps off a dragon screw.  Kim maintains her hold of the leg as she steps through and turns him over into SCORNED, her sharpshooter variant.

Sharper: “Scorned! Scorned locked in!”

Knots: “Adonis! Come on! Find something!”

He doesn’t give up, not yet.  Derek fights to the bottom rope.  He is fingertips away but then Kim drags him back out to the center of the ring before cinching the sharpshooter in even tighter. Derek finally taps out. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner via submission, Kimberly Williams!”

Kim lets go and steps forward. She then looks back at Derek Adonis and shrugs.

Sharper: “Kim having some fun in this one, but focus will be on James Evans.”

Knots: “I’m stunned James didn’t start anything here. Then again, he’s got other targets too.”

Sharper: “But for now, Kim shutting down the underground for Adonis while waiting for Rise to Greatness!”

Kim celebrates in the ring as she looks around and turns to Adonis before shaking his hand while he’s down on the mat. Adonis winces in pain as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, Jaina Lancaster stands with Eavan Maloney, the SCW Underground Champion, in the SCW interview area.

Jaina: “Folks, Jaina Lancaster here with Eavan Maloney, the Underground Champion and Eavan, first off, this new evolution, looking good.”

Maloney: “Thank you. Been putting a lot of time to get myself stronger, more healthy, and to bulk up. The Underground Division requires that dedication.”

Jaina: “Now, later tonight, you’ll face Leroy Adams, but rumour has it you’re not thrilled by his intervention last week.”

Maloney: “Look, I’m sure he meant well, but I don’t need people coming in and helping me out, just because I may be smaller or a woman or whatever. Leroy…fine, you stepped up. But I can handle myself. I can handle James Evans. And I will handle James Evans whenever SCW gives him to me in a match. I’ll even put my title on the line. As for Leroy, tonight, at least you’re getting paid. You deserve better there. But you won’t be taking home the winner’s purse. Instead, I’m going to show you exactly how I could take care of myself last week.”

Maloney heads off.

Jaina: “Maloney will face Adams later tonight. That and much more to come here on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to commercial.

The houselights cut out, a single Raven cries out soon joined by another, then another until the cries of an entire unkindness fill the house sound system, soon broken by "Hell Broke Luce" by Tom Waits cutting through, the house lights coming up to a dull blue as a single white strobe light pulses in time to the song's percussion. Standing in the middle of that pulsing light, back to the ring, stands Matthew Knox adorned in his new SCW t-shirt, jeans and a sleeveless hoodie.

Sharper: “Matthew Knox has been impressive in the ring since debuting at Taking Hold of the Flame. The man has had success everywhere he’s been. And he’s been aiming at the US Champion, Deanna Frost.”

Knots: “Deanna has been so focused on Enigma though.”

Sharper: “We can confirm that the Enigma and Deanna Frost will meet at the Rise to Greatness Pre-show. Something that puzzled Deanna, but it may be by design. The Enigma had to be following what Knox is doing. And Deanna has been pulled in so many directions…”

Arms outstretched like a bird in flight he pivots on a heel and begins making his way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and picking a corner to charge and leap upon to scream the audience into a frenzy. He then goes over to the corner, making a motion demanding a microphone. Ring announcer Jason Phillips hands him one. Knox nods his appreciation to him before walking back to the middle of the ring. His music fades out.

Knox: “Now before I get to why I’m out here…JC!”

The crowd roars.

Knox: “I’ve moved on. I’m not fighting you. We’ve been through too much. Okay? Got it? Is he here?”

Knox looks around.

Knox: “He here to throw a wrench in what I’m actually here about? I’ll wait a moment in case he wants to screw this up?”

Knox looks around, waiting. A few fans start to chant “JC!” as Knox shakes his head.

Knox: “Sorry…guess he’s watching at home. I hope you get the hint, JC. It’s a new place. Do something else. Set your own goals. I’m not your whole world!”

Knox turns to the stage.

Knox: “Now with that out of the way…”

Knox sighs.

Knox: “I’ll have to admit, I’m a bit disappointed, SCW. I’ve heard a lot of good things. I’ve heard this was the place for top competition and I checked the tape – I didn’t stutter when I said it – I’m here to make an impact. And you make the most impact not just by shooting for the top, but going for the most dominant and that is not Selena Frost, but Deanna Frost, your US Champion!”

Knox scoffs.

Knox: “And she only started to pay attention, what? Last week? And when asked me, she didn’t have an answer? What the hell kind of champion is this?”

Knox looks around.

Knox: “Has she just held it for nearly a year because she was too dumb to find the arena and SCW didn’t have the balls to strip her of the title? I get that she’s got a lot on her mind. So do I? I have someone wanting to kill me and following me to this promotion and I want to focus on my own damn career. Get over it. Or maybe…maybe…”

Knox holds his hand up.

Knox: “Sorry, I’m being uncaring. Not thoughtful. Sorry! Sorry…I’m in Canada. Just turning into an honourary Canadian.”

Knox clears his throat.

Knox: “Here, I have a solution. Since you’re too busy dealing with the Enigma, and I think I heard issues in your marriage, and all of the stuff that so many of us just DEAL WITH IT…I’ll help you out. I’ll take the US Title off her your hands. Simple as that! It’s what will happen when we meet in the ring? I’ll just kick it off a bit faster. My first defense can be at Rise to Greatness. The fans will love it. Corporate too…or something. You can focus on the Enigma and chase ghosts. I can give that title what it so clearly seemingly needs…an actual champion to hold it!”

Sharper: “Oh my…”

Knots: “Knox doesn’t mess around.”

Sharper: “His bluntness is refreshing in one sense…but for Deanna-“

Knots: “A slap in the face.”

Knox: “So Deanna…let’s get this done. You can come out, hand me the title. We can get a photographer even to help you remember it for the rest of your life or something. I’m just done banging my head against a brick wall when this is simple-“

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out steps Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before turning to the ring. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Deanna looks at the ring.

Knox: “Finally! Your attention!”

Deanna walks down the rampway, the leaves following her as she does.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost heard what he said. And Deanna is very proud.”

Knots: “And I think that was the point. Knox has figured things out fast.”

Sharper: “That comes with being a successful veteran.”

Knox waits as Deanna Frost reaches the ringside area, the SCW United States Championship glistening in the lights over her shoulder. Deanna walks around to Jason Phillips, asking him for a microphone. He hands her one and Deanna turns and walks up the steel steps. Her music fades out.

Deanna: “Good to see you’re just as disrespectful as so many.”

Knox: “Just doing what needs to be done to get a champion’s attention. Again, allow me to stress…this isn’t hard.”

Deanna steps into the ring. She then walks forward. Knox then extends his arm.

Knox: “I’ll take it off your hands if you’re just not up to it, because I’m not messing around. I just didn’t think it would be that easy.”

Deanna: “It’s not, Knox! I’m not going to just hand this title off because someone has a problem with the fact that I am a human being. Yeah, maybe I can just toss it aside, be like the veterans of the past, but then I’d be a pretty crap mother, person, and human. Especially while dealing with The Enigma looming at every corner-“

Knox: “And again, if you can’t handle it, you have a more than suitable replacement here. I have a record that puts you and your wife to shame, just not here in SCW.”

Deanna: “And it’s going to stay that way in SCW.”

The crowd roars.

Deanna: “You said it’s easy – it is. I will take on any and all comers for this title. No matter what I’m going through. So you want to come in here and immediately make an impact. I hope you have a plan B because when I stand up to you and BEAT you at Rise to Greatness, after surviving whatever The Enigma throws at me…then you’ll need to come up with another clever saying.”

Knox: “See…that wasn’t so hard. See you at Rise to Greatness.”

Knox then goes to step away before stopping and turning around.

Deanna: “That’s it?”

Knox smirks. He turns back.

Knox: “That’s it. Unlike others, I’d rather beat you in the ring. I’ve done my homework. I know you have a chip on your shoulder. I don’t really care about Winters, or Enigma or anything else. I’ve made that clear. But I don’t take to being ignored. I’ve earned better with my track record. Just like I know you deserve respect. Now we’ll see who deserves to hold that title at Rise to Greatness…and unlike someone, I’m not burning the candle at both ends to prove to the world what I am. I know what I am…a champion.”

Knox turns and drops the microphone. His music plays throughout the arena as Knox steps through the rope and drops down to the floor. He then heads to the back. Deanna Frost watches him leave, ruminating on Knox’s words.

Sharper: “Two big threats focused on Deanna Frost.”

Knots: “She’s gone a long way from being seen as just Selena’s shadow.”

Sharper: “And Deanna is right now, with Selena not as that firm support. She’s practically alone. And Rise to Greatness XXI weekend may be the most challenging weekend in Deanna’s career.”

Knox heads to the back as the scene cuts away.

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A still for Syren & Xander Valentine vs. Kandis & Kirsten Scott follows.

Sharper: “Folks, a big tag match next. Kandis and Kirsten Scott. They team up to face Syren and Xander Valentine. You heard that right. Next!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Syren & Xander Valentine vs. Kandis & “The One” Kirsten Scott

The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz wondering who is coming out.  As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.

Eins...
Zwei...
Drei...
Vier...
Fünf...
Sechs...
Sieben...
Acht...
Neun...

As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...

AUS!

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey.  The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey.  Kirsten and her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, from your own personal nightmare, accompanied by Hailey and The Oracle, she is ‘The One’ Kirsten Scott!”

As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up.  Hailey goes into the ring, directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle rope, and The Oracle stands on the floor directly beneath Kirsten.  Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, while Hailey and The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's direction as well, all signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The One."

After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out in a "DELETE" motion, before quickly sliding into the open ropes from being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her corner.  Hailey quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the outside. Both of "The One's" compatriots stand with her, advising her and talking to her, as she awaits the bell ringing to start her match. The opening of “Whore” by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

{I'm the girl you've been thinking about, The one thing you can't live without
I'm the girl you've been waiting for
I'll have you down on your knees, I'll have you begging for more}

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face as the crowd roars. She turns and shows off her notorious rear end, swaying it back and forth...

{I can be, I can be your eve... ry... thing}

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, then Kandis turns around, arms spread and feet wide apart as vocalist Maria Brink shouts:

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

Kandis starts down the ramp as the rest of the chorus continues, the sway in her hips ever present as she smirks at the ring, even blowing sarcastic kisses to the crowd.

Phillips: “Her partner, from Santa Barbara California.... she is Kandis!”

{I am the dirt you created
I am your sinner, I am your whore
But let me tell you something, baby
You love me for everything you hate me for}

Kandis goes up the ring steps and enters the ring through the second and top rope slowly, making sure to show off her ass. The heavy music fades out as Kandis goes to her corner.

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott and Kandis working together these last few weeks. Almost like two women on a crusade.”

Knots: “They both hate Selena Frost. It started there, but it’s expanding. Kandis on Xander. Kirsten Scott and Scott Reed and Syren.”

Sharper: “And Kirsten Scott has her eyes on Syren, while Kandis has it on Xander.”

Knots: “Kirsten remembers what Xander said about her earlier this year though. And that’s driven her.”

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

Others are born to run

Some need to keep on takin'

Till you ain't got none”

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise”

“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “Their opponents…first, on his way to the ring, from Rochester, New York by way of Fort Collins, Colorado, he is the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner, Xander Valentine!”

Suffocate me until I am blue

To preserve my bad worldview

Paranoid, All Eyes On Me

Rumours circle, vultures feed

Baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. Kandis and Kirsten Scott however turn to each oter and rush him.

Sharper: “Xander showing no fear! And Kirsten Scott and Kandis! Right at him!”

Knots: “Kandis took issue with Xander getting the shot at Selena at Taking Hold of the Flame and then turning down her assist and here we are!”

Sharper: “May not change anything, but certainly will make her feel better!”

Xander turns and nails Kirsten with a shot and Kandis with another as they rush him and kick him in the ribs, both going after him. Xander tries to fight off, throwing right hands as Kristen and Kandis strike him back, causing him to retreat into one of the neutral corners. Aaron Demitra, the official, tries to get them back. Kandis grabs him by the collar and snaps at him.

Kandis: “You better just stand there and watch. You stop this, I take your head off again! You’re worth the money!”

Kandis shoves Demitra back as Xander nails Kirsten before Kandis heads back and kicks Xander in the ribs. She kicks him over and over and Xander ends up sitting on the bottom turnbuckle. Kirsten leans in and starts to choke him. The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain. Ravyn Taylor is with her, as is Lexy. Lexy reaches out to her, trying to stop her as Syren runs down to the ring. The crowd roars.

Phillips: “And his partner, accompanied by Lexy Chapel and Ravyn Taylor, from Los Angeles, California, Lexy Chapel presents Syren!”

Syren runs down to the ring and slides in.

Sharper: “Syren! Bolting to the ring. Going to help Xander!”

Knots: “She said it was to do the right thing earlier. Now, it could cost her everything. Scott and Kandis are ready!”

Syren gets up and ducks a clothesline attempt by the The One before turning and nailing Kandis with a hard forearm and then another and another. She runs her across and into the opposite corner. Kandis turns as Syren turns around and The One kicks her in the ribs. Kirsten Scott then whips her into the ropes. Syren bounces off and The One lowers her head. Syren turns and backflips down her back. She lands on her feet. Kirsten Scott turns around and Syren hits a dropkick. Kirsten rolls over as Syren gets up and Kandis runs over and kicks her in the ribs. She clubs her in the back once and then again as the official tries to get order. Lexy yells on the floor.

Sharper: “And this is just a chaotic start here to this one. Has the bell rung?”

Knots: “I don’t know. Aaron Demitra may be worried about getting another concussion from Kandis!”

Kandis then throws Syren into Kirsten Scott who drills her with a clothesline. Kirsten Scott turns and walks over with Kandis only for Xander to run out of the corner and clothesline both down. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Big clothesline! Down goes Kandis and Kirsten Scott!”

Xander walks around as Syren rolls to the apron. Lexy runs out, before Ravyn can get to her, and tries to tell her to leave. Kandis rolls out of the ring and to the apron. At this point, the bell is sounded. The crowd roars as Xander turns and grabs Kirsten and drags her up and throws her into the neutral corner. Xander hits a back elbow and then another and another before then grabbing her and hitting a huge hip toss out of the corner. Kirsten Scott rolls over and through to her feet. She moves back to the corner and Xander runs across and splashes her in the corner. The crowd ohs. Xander then scoops her up and hits a huge sidewalk slam. He pulls back on her legs.

Sharper: “And Syren and Xander teaming together, working together in this one.”

Knots: “A year ago, Xander didn’t respect her one bit!”

Syren then nails Kirsten Scott with a hard right and then spins her around and throws her into the ropes. Kirsten bounces off and Syren hits a jumping leg lariat before getting up and hitting the Blonde Satisfaction. She goes for the pin.

Syren turns and Kirsten Scott rakes the eyes before then backing up and hitting a quick boot to the face. Syren drops to the mat. She rolls over and Kirsten grabs her and hits a snap back suplex. Kirsten Scott then turns and angrily tags in Kandis. Kandis enters as Syren gets up and Kandis nails her with a hard right. Syren stumbles back to the neutral corner. She then hoists her up and Kirsten Scott helps her lift her up before then driving her down with an inverted bulldog/powerbomb combo.

Sharper: “And Kirsten Scott and Kandis with the double-team!”

Knots: “Jesus! They’ve been doing more than just getting angry together I guess.”

Kirsten Scott then looks at Kandis and Kandis nods. They both run across the ring and both hit running dropkicks, knocking Xander off the apron. The crowd ohs and boos as Xander rolls over, wincing in pain. Kandis smirks. Demitra tells Kirsten Scott to leave, but as Syren starts to get up, Kirsten and Kandis run back across and hit running boots to the face of Syren. The crowd ohs. Kirsten now exits as Kandis hooks the leg.

Knots: “They’ve had a few face to face fights, but most haven’t been that. This changes here. Let’s go!”

Xander steps up and Kandis kicks him in the thigh. She kicks him again and again before Xander grabs her and headbutts her. Kandis stumbles back. Xander follows up with a hard right and then a left to the body, but Kandis hits another kick to the thigh. Xander staggers as Kandis runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Xander grabs her by the throat. The crowd roars. He hoists her up and Kandis thumbs him in the eye. She then backs up and hits a savate kick. Xander falls back into the ropes. He hoists her up for a powerbomb, but Kandis slides down and forearms Xander in the jaw. She runs back and goes to hit a back kick on Syren, but Syren catches her and she turns only for Syren to shove Kandis back into Xander who suddenly hits a school boy!

The crowd roars. Kandis rolls over and turns, stunned as Kirsten Scott is even stunned. She then enters the ring and before Xander can get up, hits him with the Hidden Blade. He goes down. Syren goes to enter, but Lexy grabs her and pulls her to the floor.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Syren and Xander Val-“

Sharper: “Xander wins in an unlikely way. But Syren…”

Knots: “Lexy is getting Syren out of there! To her, she got the win! She’s done! Kirsten Scott and Kandis are not!”

Xander winces as Syren tries to get to the ring, but Lexy pulls her back as Ravyn looks at the ring and then to Syren. Syren tries to get to help Xander as Lexy keeps holding her back. Kirsten and Kandis then turn and stomp away on Xander Valentine. The crowd boos as they get good shots into the ribs and face of Xander. Kandis then nods to Kirsten. Kirsten turns and stomps her assault as Kandis grabs Xander. Kirsten walks across the ring and asks for something from Hailey. Hailey, who has a black shoulder bag, reaches in and pulls out a can of yellow spray paint and throws it to Kirsten Scott. She turns and heads over as Xander is then knocked down by Kandis who hits him with the Gratuitous.

Knots: “Ass to the face!”

Sharper: “Making sure to hit it. Xander down. Syren trying to get to the ring, but Lexy Chapel holding her back. And Kirsten Scott has something.”

Kirsten Scott walks over to Xander who is down and Kirsten looks at him before standing over him and spray painting on his chest, in yellow paint “FAFO.” The crowd boos as Kirsten Scott and Kandis stand over Xander and Kandis stomps him a couple more times for good measure. The crowd then erupts as we see Scott Reed, steel chair in hand, running down from the back. He bolts past Syren, Ravyn Taylor, and Lexy Chapel and slides into the ring. Kirsten Scott backs up as Kandis does too. Reed slides into the ring, holding the chair up. Kirsten Scott and Kandis exit the ring and head around. Kirsten then sprays some of the yellow paint into the air before Reed stands guard over Xander. Xander winces in pain.

Sharper: “Scott Reed coming down. He doesn’t have anyone holding him back. And he wants Kirsten Scott!”

Knots: “But I think the message has been sent! FAFO? Xander effed around…he found out! And Lexy saved Syren from the same fate!”

Sharper: “Or ensured Xander got his. But thankfully Scott Reed looking on.”

Reed keeps guarding the ring as Syren turns and heads to the back, annoyed. Lexy follows her. Ravyn glances back to the ring as Kandis and Kirsten Scott play to the camera and the scene fades out.

Syren: “What was that? I could’ve helped Xander!”

Chapel: “Yeah! The person who put you in the situation you’re in and you want to help him. No! He’s going to get you injured and then what! What? Huh?!”

Syren: “Or maybe I don’t think he has it out for me.”

Chapel: “That’s why I’m here. I look out for you. Look at what happened with Autumn. Flew off the handle. Now I have a bell on her. So I know where she is. Although, now I have to figure out whether Fall or Autumn should face Veronica. Both have the need for revenge…just…”

Ravyn: “You should listen to Zoe-“

Chapel: “And you! You should’ve listened to me and YUYO wouldn’t be challenging for the title. You would and then Autumn could swap in and WE WOULD HAVE THE GREATEST SUMMER. THE SUMMER OF LEXY. But I can still have some of it. You, Syren, you can win match ten in a row at Rise to Greatness and then…yes…SYREN. WORLD TITLE. IT’S HAPPENING!”

Syren sighs.

Syren: “I appreciate it Lexy, but…didn’t you hear me-“

Chapel: “I did, but you’re making so many rash decisions. You need someone to slow you down. Ravyn agrees.”

Ravyn: “I do now?”

Chapel: “Oh yes. You’re going to make sure she does this. I’m going to go to my dad. We’re going to figure out who will get the HONOUR of losing to you to break you out of this prison, that you put yourself in thanks to you doing exactly the same thing last year. You ran ahead. Did your own thing…look…”

Chapel stops, almost as if the hamster fell off the wheel for a moment. She leans on the wall.

Syren: “You…you okay?”

Chapel turns to her.

Chapel: “I’m under a lot of stress. You…Autumn…Fall….I want you all to have success.”

Ravyn: “Ahem…”

Chapel: “Quiet Satan.”

Chapel pauses again.

Chapel: “Can you just humour me for this? All or nothing. No more schemes. Nothing. Either it happens or not. You win at Rise to Greatness and then everything is on the table…Or you lose and…well…”

Chapel sighs.

Chapel: “I’ll let you decide where you want me to guide you. I won’t question it. I’ll just follow and do the best I can. How does that sound?”

Syren looks at Ravyn and Ravyn shrugs.

Syren: “Fine…that’s fair.”

Chapel: “Yussss! Time to plot! Now…we need to figure out a way to screw my father here and….”

Chapel heads off, revigorated as Ravyn just starts to giggle.

Syren: “She’ll never learn…”

Ravyn: “Thank God she won’t.”

The scene cuts back to the ring.

Ryan LeCavalier vs. Diamond Steele

Phillips: “The following match is scheduled for one fall!”

Diamond and the Gem Stones begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various instruments as we are able to see Diamond Steele emerging from the curtain. She has a microphone in her hands sings as loudly as she can to the sound of roaring cheers. Kate smirks as she just sings loudly which results in even more cheers.

Phillips: “Introducing first, from London, England…ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Diamond Steele!”

Diamond finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd who cheers louder than before. She waves at them off as she throws the microphone to the side. She smirks as she opens up a pocket mirror and takes a moment to admire how beautiful her hair is as she waits for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Diamond Steele is looking to make a statement here tonight.”

Knots: “She wants it all. A music career. A wrestling career. Is this the night she gets it together and send a message to her peers?”

Sharper: “Diamond might not find her opponent too eager to let that happen.”

The arena is quiet, with a palpable sense of expectancy in the air as the lights go off. An ethereal blue glow is projected onto the entry ramp by a lone floodlight that breaks through the darkness. The crowd trembles with eagerness as L'Impératrice's "A View to a Kill" pulsates synthesizers burst the stillness.

Phillips: “And her opponent…”

A silhouette appears out of the darkness, clad in a shimmering silver cloak that seems to both reflect and absorb the light. The coat flutters about her as she moves, giving her enticing peeks of the wrestling gear in silver and black underneath. Her face is hidden behind a mask of steely resolve, framed by the hood.

Phillips: “Weighing in at 135 pounds, from Gatineau, Quebec by way of Miami, Florida… she is the Lost Monarch, Ryan LeCavalier!”

The moment Ryan LeCavalier, as "The Lost Monarch," removes her hood and shows off her icy-focused eyes, the audience screams. At the top of the ramp, she stops and looks out over the crowd like a queen assessing her subjects. She steps down into the ring and gracefully makes her way to the turnbuckle, removing her cloak like a snake might remove its skin. With her eyes fixed on her opponent, she slides into her mouthguard, completing her transformation. The arena is bustling with the unsaid promise of a great battle to come, and the air is crackling with suspense.

Knots: “Ryan was one of the hottest free agents on the market and SCW finally landed her.”

Sharper: “She has a high opinion of herself. Hold herself to a high standard; however, she expects the same from the opposition.”

Knots: “Ryan believes SCW is not taking her seriously. That she shouldn’t be starting at the bottom of the rankings with the likes of Religious Wright, who she defeated soundly last week. And tonight, I think she is aiming to make an example out of Diamond Steele.”

The two wrestlers circle around each other as the opening bell rings. Diamond begins to probe Ryan with side kicks, aiming for the knee. Ryan attempts to catch her attempt, but Diamond is quick enough to pull back. Ryan darts in, trying to connect with an elbow to the jaw, but Diamond ducks underneath. She knees Ryan in the midsection. Ryan responds with an elbow to the side of the face. Diamond staggers. Ryan follows up with a spinning elbow and Diamond falls back into the ropes and responds with an elbow strike of her own across Ryan’s face. Ryan stumbles back. Diamond batters her with a forearm. She doesn’t let up. Another forearm. A third. A fourth, getting Ryan in the center of the ring.

Sharper: “Ryan and Diamond are trading blows in the opening moments of this bout.”

Knots: “Diamond is challenging Ryan. She knows Ryan is a striker; however, so is Diamond!”

Sharper: “It’s going to be war of attrition of these two keep hitting each other like this.”

Ryan is whipped into the corner by Diamond. Diamond pursues and meets her with a yakuza kick. Diamond whips her to the opposite corner. Again Ryan bounces off the corner and steps forward, but this time she intercepts a running Diamond Steele with a yakuza kick of her own. Diamond goes down hard to the canvas. Ryan mounts her, and begins to rain elbows down on to her. Diamond covers up. Ryan takes Diamond’s head and slams it against the canvas before standing.

Sharper: “Ryan LeCavalier has taken control of this match. She is giving it to Diamond.”

Knots: “Talk about savage blows. She almost took Diamond’s head off.”

Sharper: “She is setting the pace, dictating the terms. Diamond needs to recover quickly and find a counter to this burst of offensive fury.”

Ryan steps back and gives Diamond space to stand. Diamond goes to stand, Ryan launches herself forward with a running knee strike. Diamond is sent flying through the middle ropes to the outside, she catches herself by grabbing a hold of the bottom rope. She stumbles to the side of the ring. Ryan runs from one end to the ring and back, then one more time for a suicide dive to take Diamond off her feet. She quickly drags Diamond to her feet and rolls her in. She hops up onto the apron, and slingshots herself into the ring, dropping an elbow onto Diamond before hooking the leg.

Sharper: “Ryan with the pin!”

1…

2…

Sharper: “Diamond kicks out after two.”

Knots: “After the initial show of force in the beginning of the match, Ryan has been in the driver seat. Right now, she looks annoyed that wasn’t three. She wants to move on from Diamond and get to her next opponent.”

Sharper: “She better not get too ahead of herself.”

Knots: “You want to tell Ryan LeCavalier that?”

Ryan points to the turnbuckle and climbs up onto the top rope. She takes aim at Diamond, waiting for her to stand. She leaps off for a missile toe dropkick, but Diamond intercepts with a dropkick. Ryan flips over and crashes onto the canvas. Ryan scrambles to her feet, holding the back of her neck. German suplex from behind and Ryan is dropped on her head for a second time. Diamond hooks the leg:

1…

2…

Ryan shoots the shoulder up. Both women fight to their feet. Ryan throws some elbows, knocking Diamond back into the ropes. Diamond pushes off the ropes and jumps up to connect with a knee to the chest. Ryan steps forward, boots Diamond in the midsection; however, Diamond catches the leg and turns it into the ankle lock!

Sharper:”Ankle lock applied in the center of the ring!”

Knots: “And Ryan is trying to find a way to escape. She swings her bodyweight around to try to catch Diamond with a kick; however, Diamond’s refusing to let go!”

Sharper: “Diamond is betting everything on the ankle lock. She has Ryan grounded. Ryan is inching her way towards the bottom rope.”

Knots: “Ryan thought this match was over; but it’s far from over! Diamond is showing her that she won’t be overlooked!”

Ryan finally drapes her arm over the bottom rope; however, the journey to the ropes taken its toe. Diamond releases the hold while Ryan rubs her ankle. Diamond waves for Ryan to find her feet. Ryan climbs using the ropes. Diamond runs towards Ryan; however, Ryan pulls down the ropes and Diamond lands onto the outside onto the apron. Ryan jumps up to connect with a kick to the face which drops Diamond to one knee. Ryan charges across the ring and back and dives through the middle rope with a knee right into the skull of Diamond. Both combatants fall to the outside onto the floor.

Sharper: “Ryan back on the offensive. I think she’s pissed.”

Knots: “Diamond isn’t going down without a fight and Ryan is somehow finding that disrespectful?”

Sharper: “Ryan is definitely not holding back as the referee starts to count out both competitors.”

[1] Diamond stirs as Ryan stands. [2] Ryan runs towards Diamond, Diamond lifts her up and flapjacks her, bringing Ryan face first onto the ring apron! [3] Ryan hangs onto the apron as Diamond throws a knee into her midsection. [4] Diamond rolls Ryan into the ring. Diamond slowly climbs onto the ring apron. [5] Diamond springboards into the ring, landing across Ryan with a legdrop. Hook of the leg!

Sharper: “Diamond with the pin!”

1…

2…

Sharper: “And Ryan gets the shoulder up again.”

Knots: “Back and forth match right now. They’re trying to get noticed here in SCW.”

Sharper: “Ryan wants more than to be noticed!”

Diamond begins to stalk Ryan. Diamond walks up for the Diamond Cutter! Ryan spins her around, hooks the arm and delivers the Crowned with Teeth! Ryan pushes Diamond over and pins:

Sharper: “Diamond cut- no Crowned with Teeth! The pin!”

1…

2…

3!

The bell sounds. Ryan rolls off.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Ryan LeCavalier!”

Sharper: “That’s all she wrote. Ryan going for her finishing move and that sealed the deal.”

Knots: “Ryan seems pretty annoyed right about now, despite earning herself the victory.”

Ryan LeCavalier looks around and looks at Diamond before then pulling her arm away from the official. She leans on the ropes and then pulls herself to the floor, heading off.

Backstage, Matthew Knox is shown walking down one of the hallway from a distance. The camera pans back to show Gavin Taylor watching him. He strokes his non-existent beard before Destiny Page heads over to him.

Page: “Gavin-“

Gavin: “Shhhh!”

Page: “What are you doing?”

Gavin: “Pondering…”

Page: “Pondering?”

Gavin: “Yes…he knows more about JC than everyone. And well, now my honour is at stake.”

Page: “Excuse me?”

Gavin: “For a brief period last week, I figured it best to turn my attention fully to the Adrenaline Championship. I changed my mind after JC attacked me and –“

Page: “Were you not already eliminated at that point?”

Gavin: “Not important. But that brute came in, came into my promotion and attacked me. And I get that he hates Knox, injured him and all, but I mean….me…I realize I’m a top star, the All-Star-“

Page: “You called him out the week before.”

Gavin: “I was speaking abstractly. Keeping doors open. It’s what we say in the biz, keeping doors open. And apparently he took it personally. And that’s not good. So I’m deciding the best way forward. Someone is going to have to school him to the ways and make him realize that there’s a pecking order around here and I’m at the top. People like him, they cause noise, but they’re at the bottom. And well-“

Gavin pushes off the wall.

Gavin: “Don’t worry. Gavin Taylor has a plan.”

Gavin smiles as he heads off and Page watches him leave, confused.

David Striker walks into his locker room with a baseball bat. He then sees Chris Dumont grabbing his phone and walking toward the door.

Striker: “Whoa, where you going?”

Dumont: “Have to make a call. After seeing someone wanting to call out someone, I’m not going to let him be the only one in line.”

Striker: “Calling out JC?”

Dumont: “Maybe. You want to come at me, fine. But I’m not going to be your collateral damage. I don’t play that.”

Striker: “We’re both full of piss and vinegar then. Because I keep hearing how big of a deal this Rise to Greatness is and that means I need to find what the Phantom Troupe is going to become known for at this show. And so…well…maybe I’ll come with you. And we can open some eyes.”

Dumont: “Only tonight and next week?”

Striker: “Plenty of time Chris. Plenty of time!”

Striker bangs the bat against the bench in the locker room before joining Dumont in leaving.

“Jesus He Knows Me” by Ghost plays throughout the arena. The crowd boos loudly.

A few moments pass before Simon Lyman walks out from the back, wearing a white robe, his arms outstretched. The boos only grow. He starts to head to the ring. He reaches the ring and then walks up the steel steps. He then steps into the ring. He extends his arms again as he looks around. A spotlight then shines down on him, dimming the lights around him. He then walks over to the corner, getting a microphone waiting for him.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman has terrorized the Lancaster and Chastaine families and we’re closer and closer to him finally getting what he deserves.”

Knots: “Just think – he used to sit here with us, calling the matches.”

Sharper: “What happened?”

Knots: “And last week, Amy Chastaine and Jaina Lancaster, her daughter, they had some fun. Getting into their heads!”

Simon Lyman looks around, microphone in his hand as he looks out at the Toronto crowd. They boo him loudly as Simon shakes his head.

Simon: “All of you used to have taste and used to understand who deserved the support of you, the fans. And here you stand, booing me and for what? I merely say the truth and offer to save those who are too weak to save themselves…Or I also offer judgment to those who deserve it too.”

Simon turns to the main camera.

Simon: “And Sister Amy! You have only proven further your nefarious ways! Don’t read too much into the fact that I am out here alone. Brother Elijah and Sister Lisa…they are spending every waking moment to ensure we can banish you to the hell you deserve to be, you witch!”

The crowd boos.

Simon: “Using your wily ways. I always knew you were evil and you’re only proving it more by the day. And to rope the innocent and pure, Sister Jaina, into this. Jaina was a good girl. Wonderful potential. A month and a half ago, I merely wanted to save her. That is all and yet you stand in the way, using violence and now WITCHCRAFT to try and stop the work I must do!”

Simon Lyman walks around the ring.

Simon: “No, this isn’t Monty Python. But as you can see, I have started to undo the evil you have put upon me. That’s right, I can speak freely again. Sister Lisa and Brother Elijah have been working around the clock to undo your clever sorcery. Too bad while you have such dated techniques on your side…”

Sharper: “What is he prattling on about?”

Knots: “I mean, at least we’re here. Him openly calling Amy a witch!”

Simon smiles and extends his arms.

Simon: “I have immense goodness on my side. I stand for the moral right. I stand for WHAT is right. And Amy, you will be taken down, your reign of terror destroyed, and the violence you have wrought, physically and psychologically, on your friends, your trainees, your family…it will all end….and no bottle of amaretto is going to help you drown your sorrows this time!”

The crowd boos as Simon looks around, smugly smirking before the light dim for a few moments, then the stage lights up in red. The heavy guitar riff of “Ruthless” by Nonpoint fills the arena for a few beats, a deep voice yelling, before vocals start.

Sharper: “Wait a minute…that music…”

[You wanna start it up without a way to win
I'm betting double or nothing but I'm not gambling]

Spencer Pryce walks out from the back in a blazer, t-shirt, and jeans. He stops at he top of the ramp, his back to the crowd. Some in the crowd roar seeing him as Simon Lyman turns to the stage, looking confused.

[You try to cage me up, but I got out again
You better cover your eyes, it's about to get]

Spencer spins around just as the chorus hits, arms spread wide. He starts down the ramp as it continues, the red lights following him.

Ruthless! Ruthless!
It's about to get...
Ruthless! Ruthless!
It's time to get...
Ruthless! Ruthless!
Everybody get...
Ruthless! Ruthless!

Paying no attention to the reactions of the crowd, Spencer goes up the ring steps and steps through the ropes. He goes to the center of the ring and walks over to Simon.

Sharper: “That’s Spencer Pryce! Before he was suspended, he revealed he was Simon’s son and we’ve not publicly seen him since!”

Knots: “Lost him the US title. Everything. And what is he doing here? Someone had to put him up to this!”

Simon Lyman looks at him as Spencer Pryce then walks past him, keeping his eyes on Simon before asking for a microphone. He’s handed on and he turns back to Lyman. Lyman looks at him.

Lyman: “What the hell are you doing here?”

Pryce sighs as his music fades out. A few fans chant “Holy sh*t!” but the chant doesn’t gain much purchase.

Pryce: “Dad…”

Lyman: “Don’t you dad me…”

Pryce: “Oh I’m going to call you whatever you want, because someone is going to have to remind you if you’re going to pull the moral card!”

The crowd looks on, buzzing.

Pryce: “What the hell is all of this?”

Lyman: “What?”

The camera pans back to show Lyman in his white robe.

Pryce: “You look ridiculous! White robe, you just had a resurrection. Talking about saving people. Talking about witchcraft. Going after Amy after we all know if anyone is in this situation and the asshole, I think it would be smart to put money on you!”

The crowd roars.

Pryce: “You ignored me for years and still have even since I revealed to the world that I’m your own flesh and blood. After you hid it, mom hid it…And you’ve not made any attempt to reach out in years.”

Pryce shakes his head.

Pryce: “Amy told me-“

Lyman: “Let me stop you there. Anything you’ve heard and Amy is behind it, you know it to be pure and unadulterated bullshit. So if you’re believing her, you’re just another victim of her gaslighting and her lies and slander-“

Pryce: “Oh shut the hell up. Is you ignoring me part of that? That I didn’t need her to tell me. And frankly, I’m here because Amy told me of everything you’ve been doing. I don’t know if it’s a mid-life crisis or you just got up cranky…but…”

Pryce looks around as Lyman just shakes his head.

Pryce: “You need to knock this all off.”

Lyman: “What? Helping people? Saving people who need it? Giving people hope even when they’ve been wrong by people like Sister Amy-“

Pryce: “Enough of it. You broke up with her. She told me what set this off. This went overboard. Too far. And…even I’m not going to let the anger take me over like this. Dad…”

Lyman: “Enough with-“

Pryce: “If you gave any damn to doing the right thing, you’d back off, realize it’s a mistake, and stop with this all. Stop making a fool of yourself. And stop with everything you’ve put that family through and focus on your family now-“

Lyman goes to nail Pryce with a hard right, but Pryce blocks it. The crowd erupts as Pryce nails Lyman with a hard right of his own and then another and another. He then whips him across the ring. The crowd erupts as Lyman bounces off and Pryce spins around him and locks him up before hitting the Epicplex! The crowd ohs as Lyman rolls through to his knees and then falls forward. Pryce then looks at him and shakes his head. Pryce turns and grabs the microphone.

Pryce: “Maybe you just need some sense beaten into you!”

Pryce then walks over as Lyman kneels in front of him and Pryce tees off with a hard right and then another and another and another. Lyman teeters and Pryce backs up and then knees him in the head. Lyman’s head snaps back and he then leans forward.

Sharper: “Oh! What a knee! Spencer Pryce attacking Simon Lyman!”

Knots: “Lyman struck first. This is not honouring your father!”

Sharper: “Oh stop it! Lyman deserved something like this and now his own family history coming to bite him!”

Pryce then grabs him and leans him up.

Pryce: “This is what you’ve become! It’s pathetic! And you could have actually done the right thing?!”

Pryce yells at Lyman before then stepping back and spinning through, but Lyman times it such to low blow Pryce, preventing him from connecting with the Receipt. The crowd ohs. Pryce drops down to his knees and then to his side. Lyman just smirks before then dusting his hands off and then miming the use of a wand. He then chuckles before wincing and rolling gingerly out of the ring to the floor.

Sharper: “Lyman goes low!”

Knots: “Or lower! He’s always gone low!”

Sharper: “And the man is just leaving. He’s low blowed his estranged son that gave him a chance to be decent!”

Lyman walks around the ring, almost strutting before turning and holding his jaw, clearly in pain. He turns to the ring as Pryce leans on the ropes, holding himself in pain, glaring at his father. Lyman then turns and heads to the back as Pryce slowly finds his way to his feet. The crowd boos Lyman.

Lyman: “Hit my music, damn it!”

Lyman yells out. A few moments pass before “Jesus, He Knows Me” by Ghost plays, furthering the boos in the arena. Lyman heads up the rampway, Spencer Pryce glaring a hole in the back of his head.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see Spencer Pryce wincing as he sits on a storage crate. Amy Chastaine is with him, talking to him.

Sharper: “That helps explain a bit more. Spencer Pryce who approached his father, talking to Amy Chastaine backstage.”

Knots: “Not what Spencer or Amy wanted. Then again, I’m not sure for Lyman either.”

Twisted & Sadistic vs. The Shining Maidens

The opening riff to “Best of Both Worlds” by Van Halen begins to play. Glory Braddock and Brittany Lohan emerge from behind the curtain simultaneously. The fans cheer while Glory goes from one end of the stage to the other, playing to the crowd and getting them into it. Lohan, meanwhile, continues her march to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are the team of the War Machine, Brittany Lohan, and the British Bombshell, Glory Braddock. They are Twisted and Sadistic!”

“Something reached out and touched me
Now I know all I want
I want the best of both worlds
And honey I know what it's worth
If we could have the best of both worlds
We'd have Heaven right here on Earth”

Braddock springs towards the ring, catching up with Lohan in time to slide in just barely ahead of her underneath the bottom rope. Lohan enters the ring the traditional way. Brittany remains stoic in the center of the ring while Glory again plays to the crowd, going to each of the four corners and raising her arms high in the air, drawing cheers from the fans. Braddock then rejoins Lohan in the center of the ring as the music dies down.

Sharper: “We saw Light in the Darkness in action and Glory and Brittany taking this on as a challenge.”

Knots: “Very different challenge. LITD was in a hardcore match. This…Shining Maidens, new team. Fresh faces. Potential trap matches too. All of this is big.”

Sharper: “And every win, depending on who walks out the World Tag Team Champion at Rise to Greatness could lead to claims on who is next up!”

Radio static fizzes over the load speakers. A male voice, thickly accented, call out in monotone.

“NEMO. YUYO. SAWA. SHINY! MAIDEN! KITTY?”

A Fortune Cat appears on the screen, the arm waving as a short countdown begins: 3… 2… 1… And everything goes crazy, pink and yellow strobe lights shine out onto the crowd and stage, streamers explode from around the entrance curtains. The opening riffs of AmaLee’s cover of “No Pain No Game” from the anime Btooom! Play:

The ending of this story
I will hold it close as I wonder so aimlessly
Into this new world
(The game has only just begun)
I can see it in your eyes
This is where tomorrow brings a new game
It’s time to learn that pain is gain
Ready fight!

YUYO pops out and rolls forward, she poses. Behind her, Neko and Sakura runs out. All three pose at the top of the ramp, Neko and Sakura placing the backs of their hands under their chin while YUYO raises her arm up. They suddenly break formation, Neko and Sakura runs to opposite corners of the ramp.

Phillips: “Their opponents, from Japan, accompanied by My. Meowkazawa and Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO, they are the team of Crimson Demonic Princess NEMO and Radiant Angelic Princess SAWA, they are the Shining Maidens!”

I gotta crush and paint away the anguish
Of my past for sake of my future
Until my life comes to an end
I am gonna fight to tear apart that destiny

All three execute timed pelvic thrusts with chops. Meowkazawa steps out behind the three grls and claps his hands together. The Shining Maidens begin to goose march in a straight line down the ramp. Again, Sakura goes right, Neko goes left while YUYO hops up onto the apron in an amazing leap. While her compatriots roll in underneath the bottom ropes, YUYO grabs the top rope and flips over.

Aah, break out and start a revolution
Until you find the answer you’re looking for
I’ll challenge all my limits
Knowing this could be my only chance now
To overcome this fate has come over me
The ending of this story
I will hold it close as I wonder so aimlessly
Into this new world
The game has only just begun
I can see it in your eyes

YUYO drops down to her knee, and all three pose again, with finger guns held to the side of their heads like Charlie Angels. They discard their entrance attire, whatever whack unnecessary, restraining pieces of cosplay they have on that week. Meowkazawa collect their stuff while still applauding.

Sharper: “Shining Maidens looked good in their debut a couple of weeks ago. But this is a huge step up – the former World Tag Team Champions; the potential next champions.”

Knots: “Yeah. This is where they can immediately stun everyone. And YUYO will make sure we never hear the end of it!”

The bell sounds as Glory starts off for her team. NEMO starts off for the Maidens. They step up to one another and lock up. They push back at one another and Glory wrenches the arm. She jerks on it and NEMO winces. Glory then pushes her into the ropes. She then fires her off. NEMO bounces off and Glory goes for a back elbow. NEMO ducks and then just kicks her in the ribs. She whips Glory into the corner. NEMO runs after and Glory gets an elbow up. NEMO staggers back and Glory runs out and NEMO hits a back elbow. Glory nods as she gets up and NEMO then kicks her in the ribs, clubs her in the back and then hooks her up by the head. She goes for a stalling vertical suplex, but Glory shifts her weight and ends up behind NEMO. NEMO turns around and Glory dropkicks her down.

Sharper: “Feeling out process early. Glory in there, the veteran, quickly getting a sense of how these two compete.”

Knots: “And NEMO may just be keeping it simple. Glory is trying to see what she can extract early.”

NEMO gets up and Glory chops her. The crowd woos. She chops her again. NEMO ends up in the ropes. Glory whips her across. NEMO bounces off and Glory hits another dropkick. NEMO hits the mat. She pops up and Glory hits a snap suplex, floating over for the pin.

NEMO kicks out again. Both get up and suddenly, NEMO hits a sudden knee strike and Glory falls back, stunned. She rolls over and quickly tags in Lohan. The crowd ohs. Lohan enters the ring as NEMO tags in SAWA. SAWA enters the ring and cartwheels before running at Lohan, who just shoulders her down. The crowd ohs as SAWA looks up, wide-eyed.

Sharper: “SAWA in after NEMO nearly put Glory down.”

Knots: “A bit of a different result!”

Lohan goes for a stomp. SAWA rolls out of the way. Lohan goes for another stomp, but SAWA again rolls over. She gets up and throws a couple of hard rights at Lohan before running across the ring. She bounces off and runs at Lohan, who hoists her up, pressing her over her head and military press slamming her down. The crowd roars. SAWA rolls over and gets up and Lohan scoops her up and onto her shoulder before hitting a powerslam. She hooks the leg.

1!

2!

SAWA gets her shoulder up and rolls over and moves to the neutral corner. Lohan heads over and follows up and grabs her and whips her across the ring. Lohan runs after her as SAWA flips up and over and onto the apron. Lohan stops at the corner and SAWA hits a pump kick, catching Lohan in the jaw. SAWA climbs to the top rope. She then dives off and hits a front missile dropkick to Lohan’s chest.

Sharper: “SAWA from the top! Missile dropkick!”

Knots: “Right on target. That was a bit better than whatever she had in mind before!”

Lohan rolls over and slowly gets up and SAWA sees this and runs over and grabs Lohan in a half nelson and pulls on her other arm and hits the One-Winged Salvation into a bridge.

1!

NEMO enters the ring and Lohan gets up only for NEMO to hit a spinning right hand and then spinning through into a back elbow. Lohan falls back into the corner. NEMO follows up with a hard right and then another and another before grabbing Lohan and pulling her out of the corner, but Lohan pulls her into a snap powerslam. Lohan rolls away and tags in Braddock. She climbs to the top rope and hits the London Plunge. The crowd ohs. Braddock goes for the pin.

Sharper: “London Plunge into the heart of NEMO!”

Knots: “Do we know if she has a heart? Maybe she’s dark hearted or something?”

Sharper: “Cover!”

SAWA runs in and pulls her off. Braddock turns around and SAWA, before she can act, jumps up and hits a double stomp. The crowd ohs. SAWA looks around and Lohan enters the ring and just runs at SAWA, drilling her with the Pounce. SAWA flies through the air, hitting the ropes. Lohan then looks at her before turning to NEMO who flips off Lohan before hitting the Scarlet Blade. The crowd ohs as Lohan goes down. NEMO falls to her hands and knees.

Sharper: “And everyone down. All going big with the strikes.”

Knots: “Braddock may not be able to breath. SAWA may not know where she is.”

Sharper: “NEMO drilled Lohan!”

The crowd roars as SAWA stirs, Lohan is down, NEMO crawls to the Maidens corner, and Braddock rolls over, holding her stomach. As they all stir, the crowd buzzes as we see two men running down hopping the barricade. They both slide into the ring as the crowd buzzes.

Sharper: “What the hell is this?”

Knots: “I know we’re in Toronto, but not everyone can get into the ring!”

Sharper: “These two men have entered the ring!”

Lohan and Braddock slowly stir as the two men turn to them. The crowd roars.

Knots: “Whoever it is, they’re focusing on Twisted & Sadistic!”

Sharper: “They are the number one contenders…a new team?!”

Lohan and Braddock start to get up as a third man comes over to the ring, having also followed the other two. He steps to the ring. Just then, the two men turn and the first hits a Superman punch on NEMO while SAWA walks into an Iron Claw which forces her to the mat. The bell sounds as Glory and Brittany are more stunned. YUYO hops onto the apron and the first man runs over to kick at her. She jumps back as SAWA struggles before the man pulls away. The man on the floor looks at Glory and Lohan, getting their attention.

The man: “People like us don't throw tantrums, proper villains simply take.”

The man then turns to the other two. They promptly leave the ring. YUYO and Meowkazawa enter the ring. YUSA runs out from the back and slides in too and gets up, moving to her feet. Glory and Brittany look on stunned. The three men just walk around the ring to the rampway, heading to the back.

Sharper: “Whoever these three…”

Knots: “They just cost Twisted & Sadistic this…and they assaulted the Maidens!”

Sharper: “Why? They simply take? What the hell is that about?”

The three men continue to head to the back as the scene cuts away.

The Enigma vs. Waylon Creek

SCW Television Championship

The arena falls into complete darkness as a haunting melody, “Whispers of the Abyss,” begins to resonate throughout. Eerie silence sweeps over the audience, and a sense of anticipation builds. Suddenly, a soft, bluish glow illuminates the entrance ramp. Mysterious mist billows out, creating an otherworldly ambiance. The crowd hushes, waiting in awe for The Enigma’s arrival. A spotlight turns on, revealing The Enigma standing at the top of the entrance ramp. The crowd roars.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television Championship! First, the challenger, from Parts Unknown, he is the Enigma!”

The Enigma descends the ramp. The mist swirls around his feet, concealing his every step, as if he is a specter emerging from the abyss. The audience looks on, several buzzing, as he reaches the ringside area. He ascends the steel steps, never breaking eye contact with his opponent. His gaze remains hidden behind the mask, adding to the mystique surrounding him. Inside the ring, The Enigma spreads his arms wide, and the eerie mist intensifies, shrouding the entire ring. The audience is captivated by the mystical display before them. The haunting melody of “Whispers of the Abyss” reaches its crescendo. The Enigma drops to one knee, his cloak sweeping the canvas. He raises his arms, and the mist begins to dissipate. As the music fades, The Enigma remains in the center of the ring.

Sharper: “And this is going to be interesting – I’m trying to remember. Has The Enigma ever been first out? Even in his TV Championship match months ago; where he won the title?”

Knots: “I don’t know. But Enigma is about to face the only person I know in SCW who is a bit off and couple actually match the sudden impact of Enigma in Waylon Creek!”

The sound and image of a babbling brook overtake the PA and screen. Shortly after, a man dressed in a suit flickers onto the screen, standing in the middle of the creek, facing away from the camera. “Mountain Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens comes over the system, and from behind curtain emerges a muscular figure in a skull mask, adorned by torn up flannels, being led by a black lab on a leash.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Wailing Creek, Idaho, he is the SCW Television Champion, Waylon Creek!”

The dog leads the way as Waylon Creek, carrying the SCW Television Championship, follows close behind, looking around the arena. He hands the dog off to a stage hand when he gets to the ring and appears to say something to the dog. The dog sits calmly as Creek enters the ring up the steps. He calmly goes to his corner without any posing. He hands his title to Jennifer Cassidy, the official, who promptly holds it over her head. The SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Waylon Creek, business as usual.”

Knots: “This…I’m looking forward to this!”

The bell sounds. Creek steps up as Enigma looks at him. He tilts his head. The two masked individuals watch one another before Creek runs at Enigma and hits him with a running double forearm chop to the throat. Enigma goes down. Creek stomps him over and over and over before running into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a powerdrive elbow. He gets up and grabs Enigma. He pulls him up and nails him with a hard right before grabbing him and spinning him around and throwing him face first into the top turnbuckle. Enigma stumbles back and Creek turns and runs at him and clotheslines him down. He walks around the ring. Enigma however slowly rolls over and gets up and stands up to his feet. Creek looks at him.

Knots: “And the creepy bastard just got back up1”

Sharper: “Enigma taking what Creek gave him and absorbing it.”

Creek then runs at him and nails him with a hard right and then a left before another right. He goes to whip him across the ring, but Enigma spins through and sends him in. Creek bounces off and Enigma runs at him and drills him with a violent clothesline. Creek rolls over, wincing. He gets up and Enigma walks over and nails him with a hard right before then kneeing him in the ribs before snapmaring him down and hitting a powerdrive elbow of his own into the back of Creek while’s he’s sat up. Creek rolls over in pain and Enigma goes for the lateral press.

Knots: “Enigma even getting Creek off his game a bit.”

Enigma whips Creek across the ring. Creek hits the corner hard and staggers out only for Enigma to run at him and drill him with another clothesline. The Enigma walks around and then hits a lunging headbutt. He goes for another pin.

Enigma kicks out with some authority. Creek rolls over, almost surprised. He gets up and stomps him. Enigma rolls over and moves to the ropes. Creek nails him again and Enigma staggers around the ring and lands by the ropes closed to the entrance way. Creek then turns and runs at him, but Enigma drops down and Creek goes up and over, hooking the top rope and landing hard into the apron and then to the floor. (1)

Sharper: “As has been the trend for Waylon Creek, these TV Title matches are all hard-hitting and Enigma made make a mistake.”

Knots: “And Creek made another one! Lawler!”

Creek slowly gets up on the mats as we see Chris Lawler running down from the back. Creek turns and Lawler then hoists him up over his head. The crowd roars as people yell out “Lawler Cutter” before Lawler hits the Fury Suplex on the floor. The crowd ohs. The bell sounds. The Enigma just stands in the ring, glaring at Lawler through his mask. Lawler then gets up and looks at Creek, while some boos come from the crowd.

Lawler: “Don’t screw with what I had to do for my family, Creek! Not your business!”

Lawler backs up as The Enigma remains in the ring, watching him.

Sharper: “Lawler attacking Waylon Creek. The match is over. The Enigma disqualified.”

Knots: “Chris Lawler just running on instinct. But what are you doing? Angering both Creek AND Enigma?”

Sharper: “I don’t think that’s the point. Creek found something out about Lawler and now Lawler is pissed off.”

Knots: “What was it? Had something to do with his family?”

Lawler turns and heads to the back. He runs his hand through his hair as he walks up the rampway. Breakdown slowly cuts to commercial.

Eavan Maloney vs. Leroy Adams

‘Trailer Talk’ by FJ Outlaw rings out over the arena as Leroy Adams walks out behind the curtain as he stops on the stage. He head bobs to the music a minute before bobbing his whole body as he really gets into the music. He then begins focusing on the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Pascagoula, Mississippi, he is Leroy Adams!”

He marches his way the ring slapping hands with fans, taking a swig of a fans beer. He makes it the ring and rolls in. He staggers up to his feet and walks over to the corner, takes off his wife beater and climb up the turnbuckle. He throws his hands up before jumping down and getting ready for the match.

Sharper: “Leroy Adams has been getting a lot of attention. Certainly got Eavan Maloney’s attention. James Evans’s attention.”

Knots: “He saved Eavan last week and Eavan’s not totally thankful. She says she had it. I don’t know!”

A singular voice and piano fills the arena. On the tron, dozens of hands holding candles can be seen.

Cover my ears and close my eyes
Just long enough to stop the noise
Go and take everything and throw it away
But I will use my voice

As ‘Use My Voice’ really kicks in with the rest of the band, a band of spotlights move to a point at the entry. Eavan Maloney, holding the SCW Underground Championship, walks out and looks up at the tron as the second verse plays.

Phillips: “His opponent, from New Egypt, New Jersey, she is the SCW Underground Champion, Eavan ‘Sykobitty’ Maloney!”

Drown every truth in an ocean of lies
Label me bitch because I dare to draw my own line
Burn every bridge and build a wall in my way
But I will use my voice

As the song goes to chorus, on the tron stands all of Eavan's 'girls' from the Krigarakademin singing along to the song, as American Murder Log plays the tune. Eavan turns around and watches, blowing a kiss to the tron before walking to the ring. As she claps hands with fans who engage, she steps through the ropes and continues to watch the tron with a smile on her face like a proud mother.

Sharper: “Maloney may be also about to test Leroy Adams. A lot of rumours around what may be the Underground Championship match at Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “If you’re Maloney, you win to make a statement and show you can take on anyone. If you’re Adams, you win to make a statement and hopefully earn a shot, a full-time contract, all of that!”

The bell sounds as Leroy Adams and Eavan Maloney begin circling one another. Collar and elbow tie-up with Adams easily forcing Maloney into the corner. The ref counts Leroy down, then separates them. Leroy steps back and allows Maloney to come out of the corner. Leroy advances again and attempts to lock up a second time, but Maloney side-steps it and applies a rear waistlock. She attempts to go for a German suplex, but Leroy drops and uses his weight to stop the attempt. Leroy throws an elbow behind that catches Maloney. Maloney releases Adams, holding her face, while Adams sends her into the ropes. Shoulder knock-down by Leroy. Maloney rolls out of harm’s way and gets to her feet quickly.

Knots: “Leroy Adams showing that size does, in fact, matter here.”

Sharper: “The tale of the tape has Maloney giving up over a foot of height and close to 140 pounds of mass to the newcomer Leroy Adams, and Jonathan, you have to wonder how much that’s going to come into play tonight on Breakdown.”

Maloney backs into the ropes to give herself a few moments to breathe. The ref keeps the two of them separated for a moment before Maloney continues, coming out of the corner. She lunges in and grabs Leroy around the leg, attempting a single-leg takedown. Leroy fights it and leans down to grab Maloney around the waist, lifting her up in a gut wrench position. Sykobitty fights out of it and lands on her knees, once again, rolling away before athletically flipping onto her head and kipping herself up.

Knots: “Leroy looked like he was ready to toss his opponent for a second there before the Underground Champion fought out of it.”

Sharper: “She’s showing her respect for her opponent’s size advantage and power game with that take-down attempt. She knows she’s got a much better chance of meaningful offense here with Adams on his back.”

Maloney turns around to catch Leroy with a clothesline attempt. Eavan rolls underneath. When Leroy turns around, Maloney dropkicks Leroy. He rolls to the floor now. Maloney bounds off the opposite ropes and dives at Leroy through the second and third ropes, making solid contact with Leroy and sending him into the barricade.

Knots: “Eavan Maloney briefly overpowered before that beautifully executed dive! Talk about wasting no time at all.”

Sharper: “Maloney playing to her strengths now, perhaps realizing she’s fighting an uphill battle against a larger and stronger opponent.”

Maloney approaches with a flurry of kicks, but is pushed off by Leroy. Maloney comes back in for some repeat chops and strikes but again is pushed off by Leroy. Maloney backs up and sets herself up to charge at Leroy, who launches himself forward making contact with a hard clothesline that sends Maloney to the ground.

Sharper: “Sykobitty told Leroy before this match that she could handle her own fights, and boy is she ever proving equal to the task.”

Knots: “This Leroy Adams is tough. Who knows what a win here against our Underground Champion could mean? It could mean a future title shot.”

Sharper: “It could mean a significant improvement on his handshake deal here in SCW.”

Leroy picks Maloney up. The ref’s count is at 5. He slides her into the ring now and follows suit. Lateral press.

Sharper: “Both competitors in that ring have been making some noise of late. You can’t undersell the name and reputation Leroy Adams is making for himself here, but Eavan Maloney has become the Underground Champion for her own merits.”

Maloney up to her knees now. Leroy delivering a few stiff blows before lifting his opponent up and pushing her back into the corner. Leroy throwing some assorted close-fist blows to the midsection now. Eavan comes out of the corner before she’s dropped by a stiff right. She comes to her feet and is met by Leroy Adams, locking his arms around Eavan in a tightly wound bearhug. Maloney groans while reaching out for the ropes. Leroy continues the hold while Eavan can’t reach the rope. She pushes back but is not able to move Leroy. The ref asks Eavan if she wants to quit, but is given an emphatic ‘NO!’ Leroy picks her up now, applying more pressure, but when he does, Maloney throws a stiff elbow into the top of his head, followed by another and another until Leroy lets go. Holding his head, Leroy goes into the corner but is met by an immediate rush by Sykobitty, who splashes him into the corner and launches herself into a side headlock. Knots: “Leroy gave his warning shots to James Evans and now he’s showing why the SCW Legend might do well to heed that warning!”

Sharper: “Sykobitty offered her appreciation for that, and gave her own warning as well, and Jonathan, the toughness of this young athlete cannot be understated.”

The crowd cheers for the two athletes as Leroy grabs Eavan and lifts her to her feet. He bounds off the rope and attempts a winding Clothesline From Hell, but Eavan ducks! Leroy continues his momentum off the opposite rope and comes back into the middle of the ring and is met by a hard double-knee facebuster!

Knots: “The Silencer! It wasn’t there the first time, but it sure was that time, and she got every little bit of that!”

Sharper: “But she’s still recovering from that powerbomb by Leroy Adams! And she can’t capitalize!”

Thr-Kickout by Adams!

Knots: “What a back and forth! Leroy thought he had her after that stiff clothesline, but Eavan showed her resilience and craftiness in the ring!”

Sharper: “Seven years the veteran to Leroy. What an athletic move!”

Both competitors start stirring again, getting to their knees. Leroy uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet, but as he does, the crowd roars with disapproval as James Evans slides under the bottom rope and levels Leroy with a stiff elbow to the back of the head! The ref calls for the bell.

Knots: “Warning delivered by Leroy Adams is now proving to be unheeded by James Evans!”

Sharper: “And now this back and forth contest has ended in a disqualification at the hands of James Evans. What a shame.”

Knots: “Double-leg takedown on Sykobitty!”

James Evans drills Maloney with a series of stiff right hands as the crowd boo’s his involvement. He stands up after delivering the blows and soaks in the boos before a loud electric hum is heard. James Evans looks around for a moment to see where it’s coming from. It stops, then starts again. Then stops.

Knots: “What the hell is that?”

Sharper: “Whatever it is, James Evans is on the lookout.”

The vibrating hum restarts again and before long, Kim Williams emerges from behind the curtain, at the helm of an electric powered cargo scooter! She stops at the top of the ramp and looks around, revving the engine. The crowd roars as she drives it down the ring, smacking the front of the scooter with a whip!

Knots: “Triple Crown season may be in the books, but Kim Williams did not get the memo!”

Sharper: “And look what she’s got in tow! In that cargo bed I see chairs, kendo sticks, trash cans, fire extinguishers, and….is that a dog kennel! Good lord!”

James Evans looks out at the ramp as Kim Williams drives the cargo scooter to the ring, smacking it away. James looks down and sees Leroy stirring, so he bends down to continue his assault with some stiff right hands, but as he does that, Maloney dives in out of nowhere with a running knee to James’ ribs! James reels off and Maloney clotheslines James over the top rope on the opposite side. He lands with a thud as Kim Williams makes it to ringside.

Knots: “Well, the cavalry's here, but I’m willing to bet James Evans wants no part of what’s loaded into that industrial scooter!”

Sharper: “Kim Williams showing she came here to finish the fight she started with James Evans! And now Eavan Maloney has returned the favor by saving Leroy!”

James Evans stands up and just glares at Kim across the opposite side of the ring, who returns the look. Inside the ring, Leroy looks up at Eavan, hands on her hips and clearly annoyed.

The Rise to Greatness XXI logo comes up on the screen.

We cut back to Breakdown as "Duality” blares through the PA system.

"I push my fingers into my eyes..."

The cameras show the crowd who begin cheering before zooming in at the entrance way, where Josh Hudson steps out.

"It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
But it's made of all the things I have to take
Jesus, it never ends, it works it's way inside
If the pain goes on...I'm not gonna make it!"

He wears a sleeveless black hoodie as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. He reaches the bottom of the ramp, and he looks out to the crowd before making his way up the ring steps and climbs into the ring.

"I have screamed until my veins collapsed
I've waited as my time's elapsed
Now, all I do is live with so much hate
I've wished for this, I've bitched at that
I've left behind this little fact
You cannot kill what you did not create
I've gotta say what I've gotta say
And then, I swear, I'll go away
But I can't promise you'll enjoy the noise
I guess I'll save the best for last
My future seems like one big past
You're left with me 'cause you left me no choice..."

He goes to the bottom right-hand corner, climbing to the top rope.

"I push my fingers into my eyes
It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
If the pain goes on
I'm not gonna make it!!!"

Hudson is shown staring out at the crowd once again. He drops down and turns and goes over to the corner, asking for a microphone.

Sharper: “We were not expecting to hear from Josh Hudson.”

Knots: “We are now. Just moments before Selena Frost enters a steel cage against Polly Pingotti!”

Hudson is handed one and he turns and walks back to the middle of the ring. He then looks up at the steel cage for a moment before then turning to the crowd.

Hudson: “I’m looking forward to tonight.”

Hudson looks around.

Hudson: “In a few moments, Selena Frost will face Polly Pingotti in that steel cage. No, the World Title isn’t on the line. That’s saved for me at Rise to Greatness.”

Hudson smirks.

Hudson: “But I’ve faced Polly…and part of what happened that night is why this match is happening and Polly, I wish you luck. As for Selena, I don’t know what to wish you. As you know, when I’m done here, I’ll head to the back and watch. I can’t strike you or attack you. I don’t want to, nor plan to, but I couldn’t thanks to the contracts. And I don’t feel like being part of your narrative anymore. I pushed back against is last week. Amazing how we have completely different answers to the same questions.”

Hudson turns to Sharper.

Hudson: “Adam there, he needed to push back to make sure you were actually believing what you were saying. Then again, you do believe it. You believe you’re the best. You believe the World Title should be for the best. And you believe you don’t have the competition that begets you or that title. We’ll see about that in moments and at Rise to Greatness. But I also heard what you said earlier…”

Hudson looks out for a moment.

Hudson: “A steel cage match. You hinted at it. And it got me thinking…how many risks will she take? Will she step up and put her best out there or is she focusing on me? Steel cage. Easy to get hurt. And she already knows she doesn’t need to worry about me. I attack her – I lose the match. But Rise to Greatness…it’s everything to her. And unlike her, well…I’ve stepped up in a different way.”

Hudson looks at the camera.

Hudson: “I’ll stop the hypothetical. You’ll answer that all in moments. But I’ll give you one clue about next week. Because CHBK was right. I love my match next week. Tonight, you have Polly in a steel cage. Next week, I have Ravyn Taylor in Underground Rules.”

The crowd roars.

Josh: “You see, the best champions take on all comers and in all avenues of battle. You want to say you’re the best…or that title stands for it, you prove it, no matter the condition. Selena, you have too many conditions. Let Ravyn scheme. As much as I think the European Fiery Nation are a stain on this sport, and their own approach is foolish, I do believe that if you’re in this sport, and you can’t survive outside of your comfort zone, you will never succeed!”

Hudson looks at the main camera.

Hudson: “Selena…I’ll show you and SCW what something different looks like. No narrative needed to spin it. No need to talk about how people aren’t deserving. You’re the so-called best, Selena. Well you’ve been surviving for too long. Miss Main Event, the show closes with you not standing tall, but you relieved, looking at the lights, knowing you’ve gotten another night where you win or you’re still champion. Well, I don’t survive. I win or I lose. And on whatever terms show up. Underground. Steel Cage. Whatever.”

Hudson looks at the camera again.

Hudson: “Selena, you used to stand for that. But now you claim this is to force the integrity you’ve fought for. I think it’s just another mind game, another tactic, just in line of CHBK, Sienna Swann, Ravyn Taylor, Monarchy, whoever. You’re not better than them Selena. You’re just another variation of someone who’s ego requires you to rationalize it. We’ll see what vision stands tall at Rise to Greatness!”

Hudson smirks.

Hudson: “And good luck tonight.”

Hudson brings the microphone down. “Duality” plays again as Hudson turns and tosses the microphone to Phillips. He then exits the ring and drops down to the floor.

Sharper: “Hudson with another clear message to Selena Frost.”

Knots: “His own mind games. He’s trying to get into Selena’s head there.”

Sharper: “Maybe. But he’s also sharing his philosophy. A Champion faces all comers regardless of where and how.”

The cameras then turn to the steel cage hanging over the ring. Spotlights flash on it as it starts to lower down.

Sharper: “And folks, Josh Hudson will be watching. We will be watching. And we’ll stay with it until it’s conclusion! Selena Frost to face Polly Pingotti. Steel cage match! Next!”

The scene fades out.

Selena Frost vs. Polly Pingotti

Steel Cage Match

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, holding the SCW World Championship, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.

Phillips: “The following contest is your main event of the evening, and is a steel cage match, scheduled for onefall with TV time remaining. First, on her way to the ring, from Nome, Alaska by way of New York City, New York, she is the SCW World Champion, the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and instead the cage, under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “Selena Frost in her domain, the main event. Entering a steel cage to face off against the challenge of Polly Pingotti.”

Knots: “She’s focused on Josh Hudson. She’s focused on the big challenge ahead of her. But just as Selena competes tonight in this match, Josh Hudson competes against Ravyn Taylor in Underground Rules next week!”

Sharper: “Meanwhile this match – thank you to our television partners. We will stay with it. They will stay with it until it’s conclusion.”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot.  A few seconds pass, which is when an open field is shown up on the SCW tron. A flock of birds rise up from the tall grass and fly away as the sound of a piano can be heard playing, leading into the opening of "Bird Set Free" by Sia.  The moment the opening words are heard, Polly steps out from the back and stands at the forefront on the stage. She looks up at the tron to see one straggling bird rise up from the grass all by its lonesome. Polly admires the one small bird that begins to fly away now too until Sia reaches the chorus, which is when she turns around as a pair of pyros goes off on each side of the entranceway.  The nearest camera catches her piercing bright green eyes as she begins to walk down the ramp and down to the ring.

Phillips: “Her opponent, making her way to the ring, from Panguitch, Utah, Polly Pingotti!”

Polly does smile but only briefly as she turns her attention to the task at hand.  She can hear the usual mix of cheers and boos, leaning more towards cheers than boos.  She gives one full look around the arena before she goes over to the steel cage and walks up the steps and into the ring. She pulls the door closed. She opens her eyes back up and light on her feet chooses a corner of the ring to wait in. With her arms now back at her sides, her focus builds on the fight that she is about to go through.

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti is focused on Selena. Thinking about to two weeks ago when Josh Hudson and Selena Frost stood over her, as if she wasn’t there, to close out Breakdown.”

Knots:” And Polly has been busy. Stepping up here against Josh and against Selena. She’s got more and more confidence, but it’s got to turn into results.”

Sharper: “But as she gets more confident, she’s hungrier, maybe more desperate, and therefore, more and more dangerous. She wants to burst through that glass ceiling.”

The bell sounds and Selena Frost just steps up and tells Polly to bring it and Polly obliges, running at Selena and nailing her with a hard right and then another and another. The crowd erupts in cheers as Polly tees off with repeated blows to the face of Selena, getting her back into the corner. Polly then hammers away with hard right hands as Selena covers up. The official, Aaron Demitra, look on, unable to really do anything. Selena covers up as Polly hammers away over and over and over again. The crowd cheers and Polly turns, playing to the crowd, getting more cheers.

Sharper: “Oh my! Polly Pingotti just unleashed a torrent of punches on Selena Frost!”

Knots: “One on one. No one else can get involved. Polly’s either going to win or make Selena Frost think about it and right now, both are well on the table!”

Selena looks at Demitra, mouthing “stop her!” but Polly runs over and hits a running dropkick. Selena pops back and staggers forward, falling to the mat. She rolls over and starts to get up and Polly kicks her in the ribs. She sets up for the Polly Pop. The crowd roars and Selena backs drops her for the counter. The crowd ohs and Selena walks forward and leans against the ropes. She turns around and Polly gets up only for Selena to nail her with a hard right and then kick her in the ribs. She hits a shoot kick to the chest and Polly falls against the ropes. Selena then looks at her and hits another shoot kick to the chest before hitting a spinning back kick to the stomach. Polly stumbles out and falls to her hands and knees. Selena walks over and stands over her, pulling her up and hitting a crossface punch.

Sharper: “Hard right hand across the bridge of Polly’s nose.”

Knots: “Polly may just have angered Selena. Selena saw the opening and she’s not holding back now. Just responding in kind!”

Polly shakes it off and slowly gets up. She moves to the corner and Selena walks over and nails her with a hard right and then another before Selena kicks her in the ribs once and then again and again. Selena then starts to count herself out.

Selena: “1! 2! 3! 4!”

Selena backs off, ending her onslaught, turning to Demitra for a moment before turning around to Polly.

Selena: “You can follow the rules if you have any hope of actually proving anyt-“

Polly then chops her. The crowd woos. She chops her again. More woos. Polly nails her with a hard right and then turns and runs her into the ropes. Selena bounces off and Polly hits a jumping leg lariat. She gets up as Selena turns and gets up and Polly hits a dropkick. Selena hits the mat. She gets up again and Polly kicks her in the ribs and hits a vertical suplex. Polly gets up and hits a double leg drop to the chest of Selena. She rolls back and dives for the pin.

Sharper: “Selena makes Polly taste the steel.”

Knots: “For all the talk about rules – and there are none in this match – she happily used the cage as a weapon. I mean it’s legal.”

Sharper: “Selena Frost…this is why. She seems to just be rewriting it. And Josh Hudson said it clearly – a World Champion is the best against all odds. I get Selena’s original position, but then there’s the self-righteousness and that’s the issue.”

Polly ends up on the apron. Selena walks over and stomps her in the stomach and then the face before choking her with her boot.

Selena: “1! 2! 3! 4! Not that hard!”

Selena walks around the ring, stopping her choke. She then turns and runs at Polly and hits a sliding dropkick, sandwiching her into the cage. The crowd ohs. Selena reaches over and pulls into the middle of the ring. She then hits a standing moonsault for good measure and goes for the pin.

Selena runs up the corner and backflips back. She smirks and spins around before Polly then just spears her down.

Sharper: “Selena getting a bit over-confident! Polly with a huge takedown!”

Knots: “Just threw herself with sudden impact!”

Selena rolls over, holding her ribs in pain and Polly grabs her and runs her into the steel cage wall. Selena staggers back and stumbles and Polly grabs her again and runs her across face first into the cage. Selena turns around and Polly kicks her in the ribs before grabbing her head and running up the ropes and into a tornado DDT. She turns and hooks the leg.

Selena falls back and turns around and Polly clotheslines her down. Selena turns, blood coming from a cut newly formed on her forehead.

Sharper: “And Selena Frost is bleeding! Polly Pingotti has busted open the World Champion.”

Knots: “And this is the risk of this. Polly can do some big damage to threaten the main event of Rise to Greatness!”

Polly Pingotti turns and sees this and dives onto Selena, mounting her and nailing her with repeated hard right hands. The crowd roars as Selena kicks at the mat. Sharper: “Selena fighting back. Hard kick to the head.”

Knots: “And that’s what she needed. Now she needs to get her head cleared and figure this out.”

Sharper: “Polly with another counter! And this time, driving Selena into the mat.”

Knots: “Selena’s been playing it safe. She’s not going to risk Rise to Greatness. But Polly! This is not the time to think of something more. Go for it! Cover her”!

Sharper: “Polly looking at the cage! And you can’t be having people look down at you if you’re at the top!”

Polly turns and grabs the cage wall. She starts to climb her way up the side of the cage. The crowd cheers as she does. She gets up closer to the top, before grabbing onto the top and pulling herself up. She looks around as Selena Frost remains down on the mat. Polly Pingotti slowly pulls herself up, using one of the support cable to steady herself. She then looks down at Selena, with disdain. She then nods.

Sharper: “Polly looking down at the World Champion!”

Knots: “She’s enjoying that! But go for it!”

Polly looks down a moment longer before diving off and hitting the Bird Set Free onto Selena Frost. The crowd ohs. Selena rolls over, convulsing from the impact, holding her stomach. Polly turns and crawls over and hooks the leg.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Selena Frost!”

Sharper: “And at the end, Selena Frost finds a way. No one has ever questioned her heart.”

Knots: “Just her attitude, her head, her thoughts…but Polly…I thought she had it.”

Sharper: “And Selena Frost, who has made a habit of surviving these matches, whether intented or not. We saw a bit of that arrogance that’s come out too. Talking about needing challenges she respects.”

Selena Frost then starts to pull herself up.

Sharper: “And look at this…Getting her feet.”

Knots: “She’s not going to let anyone claim she survived this. She won tonight. Just as she plans at Rise to Greatness!”

Sharper: “And next week. Josh Hudson can respond. Underground rules against Ravyn Taylor!”

Selena Frost gets up and winces, staggering a bit before turning to Demitra. Demitra comes over and raises her arm. Selena, blood covering her face, looks out, arms in the air as she stands over Polly Pingotti victorious inside the steel cage as the scene fades to black…
