“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Simon Lyman posing with his arms out.

Maybe I'm just paranoid
Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie
Can't stop this screamin' voice
Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing Rated X posing as SCW World Tag Team Champions. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see Cassie Wolfe hitting a dive off the top rope and Adam Brock standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chance Owens, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo

This is the face
I hate the other side of me
Out of this cage
He breaks to take the life from me
Tell me, tell me, tell me
I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing Adam Allocco talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head
I'm closer to the edge
Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery
Insane
These voices in my brain
Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Kandis, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “It is the final stop before Rise to Greatness weekend and Breakdown rolls into Detroit, Michigan!”

The cameras pan the crowd before we cut to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and folks, almost to Rise to Greatness. Should be a wild one.”

Knots: “Wild one? Last week, people were taking their shots. Tonight, we know Josh Hudson is going to take his in a different way. He’s going to try and prove to Selena, put his money where his mouth is. You take on the circumstances in front of you. He’s got Ravyn Taylor in an Underground Rules match!”

Sharper: “That’s not all. Konrad Raab will be in action against Deanna Frost. Matthew Knox to compete against Gavin Taylor-“

Knots: “Think JC is going to be here this week?”

Sharper: “I don’t know. The Tag Champs also to be in action. That and much more and-“

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. The SCW World Championship sits over her shoulder.

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. She then just waves off the show of her entrance and walks over to the corner, demanding a microphone. Ring announcer Jason Phillips hands her a microphone. Frost takes it and walks back to the middle of the ring. He looks around and smirks as the boos start to come through.

Selena: “Keep it up…”

Selena stands in the ring as the boos only grow. She looks down, taking a few moments, letting the fans get it out.

Selena: “You done?”

The boos only get louder as Selena then peers across the arena.

Selena: “Josh!”

The crowd gives a mixed reaction.

Selena: “Did I meet your precious standard?”

Selena looks around.

Selena: “Did I meet the challenge as it came forward to me? I walked into an UNNECESSARY steel cage match – a result of OTHER people who can’t handle that they need to meet a certain standard to have any hope at this…”

Selena points at the World Title.

Selena: “…and I rose to the occasion, like there was any doubt. Look, Polly – down the road, when things click, that glass ceiling, she can shatter through it, and it will be a great story. Just it’s not going to be against me. Not right now. Not when I have something of immense importance at work. But Josh, you claim this is a difference of opinion…”

Selena smirks.

Selena: “A difference of opinion – you think it’s okay that it can be the Wild West. That anyone can just do whatever. As champion, you step up. I agree there. But why have to jump through hoops because people are lazy, want to take a short cut, don’t have it in them to step up and do it the right way. Again, Josh, I know you’re a trainer. Is that what you tell them? Oh, you want to be World Champion? Just jump them in the back? The parking lot? This is what I’m fighting for. These fans whether they like it or not WANT what I give them. Come Rise to Greatness, they KNOW they will see Josh Hudson against Selena Frost for the World Championship. A hall of famer, a former World Champion, a top star for twenty years, one of the most decorated people in SCW history – I’ll give you ALL of that. Against me, one of the greatest wrestlers in SCW history too. And instead of looking to the stage and seeing who will run out. Or waiting for chaos. They can watch us compete to see who is the BEST!”

The crowd looks on.

Selena: “You don’t like how I make sure of it – with contracts, with holding people to MY standard, well…you can challenge me and try to prove me wrong. But NO ONE has touched me in 2024. I am undefeated.”

Selena takes a moment.

Selena: “We’ve gone past the dregs that were the World Championship and its challengers in the fall of last year where not a single one represented greatness by ANY metric except maybe in terms of depravity…”

The crowd boos. Selena ignores them.

Selena: “Even when everyone I’ve been in the ring has tried to bend the rules, tried to find a way to get me, they still need to prove it one on one in the purest form of competition. The fight for integrity I’ve had for YEARS. FINALLY, people are forced to compete the right way. But Josh…you don’t get it. You claim we’ve had the same fight. You wouldn’t give up if you understand what this represented. But…”

Selena shrugs.

Selena: “Tonight you’re going to prove me wrong. I still won last week. You can claim I’m safe. You can claim I’ll not take the risk. That this is all about Rise to Greatness. It’s not. It’s about this…”

Selena points to the World Title.

Selena: “Tonight, you face Ravyn. Good luck. But you want it so the champion has to jump through any hoop, crawl through the mud, take on the challenges as they come to them. I agree to a point. Tonight, let’s see if you’ll still agree, Josh.”

Selena looks at the main camera.

Selena: “BELIEVE IT!”

Selena brings the microphone down as her music returns to the arena. The crowd boos as Selena turns and hands the microphone back to Phillips. She turns and exits the ring, dropping down to the floor.

Sharper: “Selena Frost responding to Josh Hudson who spoke last week before she faced Polly Pingotti.”

Knots: “Volley right back. And Josh has a lot more time to think about it. Ravyn Taylor awaits him later tonight! Underground Rules!”

Selena Frost heads to the black.

The camera suddenly cuts to a location somewhere in the Little Caesar’s arena as a long black car pulls into the arena before a man in a black suit and a full headed luchador mask gets out and walks over to the rear passenger door and opens it to allow a handsome young man in a very well expensive looking suit with a scarf hanging around his neck, despite the heat, to step out as a large number of SCW security and a young official walks up to the man with a very nervous look on his face.

Official: “Um sir, I need you to come with me.”

The man looks around at the security for a moment before he pops a piece of bubblegum into his mouth and gives the official a questioning look.

Man: “Sure, but first you’ve got to tell me champ. What’s with all the security around my car, eh?”

The official looks very unsettled by this as the man in the suit takes another step forward, idly chewing the gum as he fixes the official with an unimpressed look.

Official: “Well sir, we’ve been made aware of who you and…are who might be in the vehicle with you. So certain…concerns were addressed.”

The man listens and then tosses a cheeky wink at the official.

Man: “I thought as much, so lead on McGruff…but as you do that, I kind of want to give you a spoiler if I may?”

Official: “Um….sure.”

The man leans in good and close to the official before he motions at all of the security surrounding the car.

Man: “There is never enough security to keep the boys in check. Remember that when you’re paying for hospital bills there, killer.”

The official then slowly nods before he leads the man out of view as the camera cuts to another location.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see Mr. Meowkazawa talking to NEMO.

NEMO: “You know we don’t trust her.”

Meowkazawa: “YUYO is showing a lot of grace. Forgiveness and-“

NEMO: “SAWA and I know she has plans. She has to. To show up after we-“

YUYO steps into the room with YUSA.

YUYO: “YUYO is here!”

NEMO looks over as Meowkazawa turns too. SAWA, who had quietly been in the back, stands out. NEMO and YUSA lock eyes.

YUYO: “Okay, enough with the stares of concern and distrust!”

NEMO: “It’s too convenient, YUYO, and we-“

YUYO: “YUYO has embraced YUSA! YUSA is now one of us-“

SAWA: “Are you sure, YUYO-“

YUYO: “SAWA, as my follower, you need to understand sometimes tough decisions need to be made for the greater justice-“

YUSA: “YUYO, if I could?”

YUYO nods.

YUSA walks up to NEMO and briefly looks at SAWA too.

YUSA: “I’m sorry if it all feels convenient. But I saw what you, SAWA and YUYO were doing. I realized this was my calling.”

NEMO looks at YUSA.

YUSA: “And I knew I had to join you. To support you. To support YUYO.”

NEMO: “Prove it-“

YUYO: “NEMO!”

NEMO: “If this is all a misunderstanding, she should be able to prove it. That she’s not some hanger on, conveniently taking advantage of what we are working on.”

YUYO: “Hmmmm…that is a good idea. Plus it allows the Shining Maidens to show what we can do in more places! FOR LOVE! FOR JUSTICE!”

Meowkazawa: “But YUYO, you need to focus on your efforts. The Adrenaline Championship. Then NEMO and SAWA, we’re working on finding out more about those fiends who attacked them last week.”

YUYO: “YUYO can handle it all. She’s strong. She’s the third best wrestler in SCW! She should be able to beat Bree and bring the people to their feet in joy, happiness, love and magic!”

YUYO taps her foot.

SAWA: “May-“

YUYO: “EXPLOSION! I have a perfect idea. It’s Rise to Greatness. The Shining Maidens are the hottest thing in the company. We can get YUSA a match and she can carry our banner to victory!”

YUSA smiles.

YUSA: “Sounds perfect!”

YUYO: “YUSA…go on our behalf and find a match! Mr. CHBK can help! FOR JUSTICE!”

YUSA: “Oh me…okay…uh…I’ll do it.”

YUSA smiles as she heads out of the room.

YUYO: “Such a good idea.”

YUYO smiles as we cut away.

Chris Lawler vs. Crystal Zdunich

The lights dim as the strobe lights flash. The crowd’s murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of “Warrior” by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers. A few moments pass before a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Nashville, Tennessee, he is Chris Lawler!”

Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits. As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in the arena lights. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps. He enters the ring and looks around. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens.

Sharper: “Chris Lawler having a wild few weeks. The disappointment in the Adrenaline Contendership tournament to being targeted by Waylon Creek in this situation that gotten personal.”

Knots: “We still don’t really know what is in those documents Creek gave him. But this is all odd. Nonetheless, trying to bounce back here.”

The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal's voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.

"YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!"

As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Los Angeles, California by way of Detroit, Michigan…”

The crowd roars.

Phillips: “She is the Burning Rose, Crystal Zdunich!”

“Smile Bomb” by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red haired "Burning Rose" Crystal Zdunich walks from the curtains. Crystal is focused as she walks to the ring with a purpose. She however slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way. She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside, she kips up to her feet. She tosses her Shoto inspired hoodie to the side as she awaits the start of the match. Crystal is locked in a trance.

Sharper: “Crystal Zdunich returning home and hopefully that can help motivate her.”

Knots: “Too bad Chris Lawler is hoping to have her experience what he went through two weeks ago!”

The bell sounds and Zdunich and Lawler head toward one another. Zdunich quickly lunges at Lawler and drops down and around him and into a waistlock. Lawler grabs her arms and manages to unclasp them before wrenching her arm. Zdunich winces and Lawler wrenches the arm again. Zdunich rolls forward and then rolls back before cartwheeling forward and wrenching Lawler’s arm. Lawler winces as Zdunich then elbows him in the arm. She elbows him again and then goes to whip him into the ropes. Lawler spins through and sends Zdunich in. Zdunich bounces off and Lawler goes for a back elbow. Zdunich then hits the opposite side and hits a dropkick. Lawler hits the mat.

Sharper: “Hard dropkick and Zdunich looking good right now. Hot start for her.”

Knots: “Aggressive approach. Working for her now.”

Lawler gets up and Zdunich runs over and clubs him in the back over and over before then grabbing him, but Lawler shoves her back. Zdunich rolls through. Lawler steps up and Zdunich hits a dropkick. Lawler hits the mat. Zdunich gets up and hits an elbow drop. She goes for the pin.

Lawler kicks out. Lawler rolls over and stirs and Zdunich hits a third dropkick, knocking Lawler back into the corner. Zdunich climbs up to the middle rope and nails him with a couple of hard rights before Lawler shoves her back. He hits the mat and rolls through to her feet. She gets up and lunges at Lawler, but Lawler kicks her in the ribs and then hits a hip throw. Zdunich gets back up and Lawler pushes her into the ropes and fires her off. Zdunich bounces off the ropes and Lawler hits a powerslam. Zdunich rolls over, holding her back in pain and Lawler gets up and grabs her and pushes her into the corner.

Sharper: “And Lawler with a huge powerslam. And that could be the turning point!”

Knots: “Just dropped her and hard. All of that momentum against her.”

Lawler nails her with a hard right and a left into the ribs. He whips her across the ring. Zdunich hits the corner and staggers out and Lawler hoists her up and hits a side belly to belly suplex. He hooks the leg.

Zdunich kicks out. Lawler gets up as Zdunich crawls to the ropes. She uses them to get up and turns around and Lawler scoops her up and slams her down. He runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits a huge elbow drop. He then goes for another pin.

2!

Zdunich kicks out again. She turns and Lawler grabs her by the head. Zdunich however manages to push back and hits the Flashing Lights. Lawler staggers back and Zdunich grabs him and snapmares him over. She runs into the ropes, handspringing off and hitting the Smell the Roses. She hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Smell the Roses. Quick action. Right on target! Cover!”

1!

2!

Lawler kicks out.

Knots: “Nope! Lawler’s not staying down!”

Zdunich rolls off. Lawler turns to his side and Zdunich kicks him in the shoulder and then the side before she runs into the ropes. She bounces off and jumps up for a hurricanrana, but Lawler counters with a snap powerbomb. The crowd ohs. Zdunich rolls over, holding her chest, the air knocked out of her. She starts to get up and Lawler whips her into the corner. He then moves to the opposite corner before then running across and hitting the Blitz Kick. The crowd ohs as Zdunich drops to the mat and rolls out of the corner. Lawler moves her into position and exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope. He stands on top of and looks at the crowd briefly before hitting the Air Assault! The crowd ohs. He hooks the leg.

1!

2!

Zdunich gets her shoulder up.

Sharper: “And Zdunich just getting that shoulder up. Lawler’s weight to her chest. She’s been struggling to catch her breath. And somehow still kicking out.”

Knots: “Instinct? Drive? Heart? Hometown. Who knows, but Lawler knows how Zdunich is struggling!”

Zdunich rolls over and reaches out for the ropes. She starts to get up before Lawler grabs her and pulls her up. Chants of “Lawler Cutter!” are yelled out from the crowd only for Lawler to place Zdunich’s head between his legs. He hoists her up and drives her down with the Impact Driver. He remains down for the pin.

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Chris Lawler!”

Lawler rolls back. He gets up and has his arm raised.

Sharper: “Lawler, ignoring the pleas of the fans for the Lawler Cutter, but instead hits the Impact Driver and gets the three count.”

Knots: “And no Waylon Creek. That’s also got to be a win.”

Sharper: “As Lawler celebrates here, Jaina Lancaster is going to try and get a word with him. Maybe help us understand what Creek found on him.”

Lawler walks around the ring, playing to the crowd a bit. Zdunich rolls out of the ring as Jaina Lancaster walks over to the ring and walks up the steel steps. She enters the ring, microphone in her hand. Lawler turns and sees her. He looks down, hands on his hips and turns as Jaina heads to him. Lawler then puts a hand up.

Jaina: “Chris, please. We have a lot of questions. Fans trying to make sense of this.”

Lawler looks at Jaina.

Jaina: “Waylon Creek found something on you. You reacted very animated to those documents. You attacked Waylon Creek last week after he attacked you and-“

Lawler: “It’s not your business. Nor is it Creek’s-“

Jaina: “Help us understand here. On top of this, we know so little about Creek. You saw how he reacted to those documents you accidentally knocked over and picked up.”

Lawler: “That’s his problem. I guess he has his secrets. I had mine. Mine from years ago. Okay – And he wants to snoop around-“

Jaina: “Is this related to why you suddenly left-“

Lawler sighs and looks around.

Lawler: “Maybe. All I’ll say is that I had to do some things to support my family. Simple as that. I may not be proud of them but they got me through a tough time. And Creek dredging it back up because of a misunderstanding? I just put those documents back; he overreacted and now this. You want to dig into someone’s past. Dig into his. He’s clearly hiding something. Because for him to do this…something’s not right in him. And that’s all you’re going to get from me. Except that at Rise to Greatness weekend, I return to that event and I’m going to take whatever I can from Waylon Creek to make him realize he went too far!”

Lawler then steps past Jaina and heads to the ropes. He steps through and drops down to the floor.

Sharper: “And Lawler getting a bit animated again.”

Knots: “What? Was he stripping? Delivering pizza’s? What could he not be proud of.”

Sharper: “And with a full-time contract with SCW. Not the values we have today, but still…”

Lawler heads to the back as Jaina watches him leave.

The scene opens up in the locker room of LexyCorp where we see Lexy Chapel on her white board. Autumn Valentine and Fall St. Patrick, who is still covered by a bandage under her mask, sit in the background. Syren and Ravyn walk into the room. Syren looks at Autumn, who gives a disapproving look and nods to the whiteboard.

Syren: “Uh, Le-“

Lexy: “Shhhh! I need to…”

Lexy then draws some circles and an arrow and then throws the marker down.

Lexy: “There! Solved it! Solved EVERYTHING!”

Ravyn: “Looks like the scrawlings of a mad woman-“

Lexy: “Only because you helped push me there, SATAN!”

Syren: “What did you solve?”

Autumn: “I can’t wait to hear this-“

Lexy: “Shush, my beautiful wife, Autumn. I have solved everything. My father, who otherwise tries to screw me ALL the time-“

Ravyn chuckles.

Syren: “We really need to work on your phrasing-“

Lexy: “Shush! YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! Sick, sick people. You hang out with her too much.”

Ravyn shrugs.

Ravyn: “I am her wife-“

Lexy: “Just let me-GAH!”

Lexy throws her arms up.

Lexy: “I pitched the matches to my dad. And he agreed. Oh, he agreed big, and well, this is great. Lexy Chapel Presents the RISE OF LEXYCORP! Syren, you’re going to get your tenth win and be FREE from your past poor decisions! Even if you somehow fraternize with the person who did it! He’s not holding something over you, huh? I should know, as your manager-“

Ravyn: “I mean the stipulation that requires ten wins-“

Lexy: “NOT HELPING!”

Syren: “I said I’d go with it. Get through Rise to Greatness-“

Lexy: “Exactly! And I have a perfect plan. It will be great. And not only that, but Fall St. Patrick is going to make her debut at Rise to Greatness! A coming out party and you’re going to fix this mess that started a few weeks ago, while I spend the evening with my wife!”

Lexy winks towards Autumn and Fall.

Lexy: “Veronica Strader is going to wish she forgot about Autumn’s little tantrum…and didn’t ruin her change at the Adrenaline Title. ALL of that will be RUED! RUED I SAY!”

Lexy then turns to Ravyn.

Lexy: “And you, Ravyn…I’ve got you a match. A perfect thing for you. Something you can scheme and stay out of my way with Syren. We’re going to make sure Syren gets this tenth win. And too many cooks spoil the porridge!”

Syren: “Isn’t it soup…or broth?”

Ravyn: “She’s British, so probably has little to go on for food.”

Lexy: “Hey!”

Ravyn: “Do I even want to know-“

Lexy: “You can just stew about it. Focus on tonight. Tonight is huge! Josh Hudson…can’t get ahead. Selena loses the title at Rise to Greatness, Syren’s record is in jeopardy as we KNOW Selena is going to cry rematch and probably has some stupid contract. My dad is such a poor businessness person…just…But we have it.”

Ravyn: “And what do I get if I play your game?”

Lexy: “What?”

Ravyn: “Autumn gets a nice night with you. Fall gets revenge. Syren gets her tenth win. Me?’

Ravyn smiles at Lexy. Lexy looks at her.

Lexy: “Oh…oohhhhh! You want me to make a deal with the devil-“

Ravyn: “Sure, let’s call it that.”

Lexy: “Well…er….fine…if you play nice, and do what you’re supposed to tonight and at Rise to Greatness….I’ll…I….maybe will trust you!”

Ravyn: “So certain.”

Syren looks at Ravyn.

Ravyn: “Fine…”

Lexy: “There…oh…this is going to be great and-“

We abruptly cut to the arena as we see Simon Lyman shoving Jaina Lancaster down the rampway. She rolls over and stops part way. Simon runs over and stomps her in the head. She falls back and rolls over again.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman attacking Jaina Lancaster, the daughter of Amy Chastaine!”

Knots: “Was he waiting for her?”

Jaina starts to get up and Lyman grabs her and turns and runs her into the ring. Lyman rolls in after. Jaina starts to get up and Lyman clotheslines her down. The crowd boos loudly as Lyman looks around and then he turns and demands a microphone. He snaps at Phillips as he takes too long. Phillips finally hands him one. Lyman turns and snaps at Phillips before turning around as Jaina nails him with a hard right.

Sharper: “Jaina! Fighting back! She is a trained wrestler!”

Knots: “And Lyman turned his back on her!”

Jaina nails him again and again before knocking him into the corner, but Lyman kicks her in the ribs and shoves her back. Jaina rolls through and Lyman steps up and drops her with the Leading the Revolution. The crowd ohs as Jaina is laid out.

Sharper: “That superkick! That Leading the Revolution…”

Knots: “Jaina walked right into it. Lyman jumped her. She tried.”

Lyman then stands over her.

Lyman: “Amy!”

The crowd roars.

Lyman: “Come save your precious daughter! You come out and go after my congregation. My followers with your so-called witchcraft. Lisa and Elijah are afraid because of this! And all thanks to her…”

Lyman looks at Jaina who remains down. We then see Amy Chastaine step out from the back. She starts to head to the ring before Lyman turns and grabs Jaina and pulls her up.

Lyman: “Amy! Stay right there! Now…you’re going to show whether you’ve learning anything from your claimed rehab stints and can you listen?”

Amy stops briefly and then starts to continue. Lyman pulls Jaina up and places her head between his legs.

Lyman: “Stop right there and listen or someone else in your family can find what it’s like to be paralyzed by a condition they can’t control!”

The crowd ohs. Amy stops, briefly stepping forward, and clearly fighting in her own head between her desire to help Jaina, and her untrusting nature of Simon. Simon stands in the ring, Jaina still between his legs, faced down, ready to be lifted into a piledriver.

Sharper: “Oh God…”

Lyman: “It’s clear that I need to make sure that you recognize that all I wanted to do was save everyone from you. ALL of us deserved better, but you’ve controlled them so flong.”

Amy turns, biting her tongue, clearly wanting to react.

Lyman: “And with us colliding at Rise to Greatness, a normal match isn’t going to be sufficient to do what I need to do to you so you’ll finally be gone. No…I’m not even going to try to save you anymore. It’s not worth it. You’re too weak. You’ll fall of the wagon again and everyone deserves better. Jaina, Bree…Spencer….Wyatt…”

Amy looks in the ring, seething.

Lyman: “So at Rise to Greatness, I’m going to drop you and leave you where you should be. There will be no resurrection because I will be the last person standing while you’ll be down on the ground where you permanently belong for everything you’ve done!”

Lyman looks at Amy.

Lyman: “Nod if you agree…”

Chastaine remains in the entrance way, ready to strike.

Lyman: “Nod if you agree or I drive Jaina into the mat and you have more blood on your hands! Another who couldn’t be saved under your weight!”

Amy turns away before nodding slightly.

Lyman: “Good.”

Lyman throws Jaina down. Amy then launches herself in the ring. She slides in as Lyman drops the microphone and rolls out of the ring. He backs up. Amy starts to go for Lyman only to stop and turn and check on Jaina. Lyman walks around the ring.

Lyman: “See you in St. Louis, Amy!”

Amy looks at him as Jaina waves off her mother. Amy turns and grabs the microphone as Lyman walks around to the entrance way and starts to head to the back. Amy turns back to Jaina.

Amy: “You are not going to be leaving St. Louis conscious, Simon!”

The crowd roars as Lyman turns back and smirks before shaking his head. He then heads to the back.

Sharper: “This personal rivalry only getting more and more personal by the day.”

Knots: “Lyman just spewing every lie. Amy struggling to contain herself.”

Sharper: “And now Last Person Standing at Rise to Greatness!”

Lyman heads to the back as Amy checks on Jaina and Breakdown cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see Leroy Adams arriving in the arena late, bags over his shoulder. He looks around. The crowd cheers seeing him as he walks forward and looks around. He takes a few steps before Lucas Knight notices him.

Lucas: “Leroy! Not scheduled but-“

Leroy: “Sorry I’m late. Someone dropped the money in my app to let be here. Don’t want to lose out.”

Lucas: “Well, Jim over there can tell you where there’s some space. Just don’t get into trouble.’

Leroy: “Not looking to cause trouble. Just stop it.”

Lucas nods.

Lucas: “Good attitude to have.”

Leroy nods and starts to head forward as Breakdown returns to the ring.

The Dangerous Minds vs. Team Desire

The lights in the arena dim slightly as the deep and thundering sounds of a strange techno beat begins to echo throughout the arena as the crowd then explode in a massive pop as first Chris Dumont and then David Striker followed closely behind by both Irvine and Kyle Gibson while White Zombie’s “I’m your Boogieman” starts to echo throughout the arena,

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first..

All four men stride down to the ring with David occasionally hitting a bit of a Freebird Strut as they go with both men occasionally bumping fists with the fans before they reach the ring at which point both David and Chris climb up onto the ring before wiping their feet on the apron before entering the ring proper.

Phillips: “They are escorted to the ring by Irvine and Kyle Gibson, they are the team of David “Bam Bam” Striker *AND* The “Ronin” Chris Dumont, they are Dangerous Minds!!”

David goes to the far turnbuckle and hits a pose while Chris simply protects the back of his friend and partner while Irvine and Gibson keep an eye on things by the ring before David hops back down to the ring before shucking off his ring coat.

Sharper: “David Striker said he’d have some plans tonight. Dumont too. I don’t know if the Tag Champions were what they had in mind.”

Knots: “Who cares? You take advantage. Last week, Shining Maidens technically beat Twisted & Sadistic. European Fiery Nation failed against Light in the Darkness thanks to Shaun Cruze.”

Sharper: “You need to think past Rise to Greatness here, for both teams.”

The arena lights dim down and pink light shine on the stage. “Kings & Queens” by Ava Max plays as The Queen of Queens and Goddess of Desire Katie Steward steps out on the stage. She walks her beautiful white and gold religious ring robe that is popelike and spins around in a circle showing it off the crowd. Giovanna Steward follows behind her wearing her leather spiked “Brat Club” jacket and a black bandana covering the lower half of her face. The Stewards hold their World Tag Team Championship belts. TJ Johnson walks out onto the stage with Katie and the two nod to on another before Katie continues her walk to the ring with her arms out and his hands at shoulder length while Gigi follows behind.

Phillips: “Their opponents, accompanied by TJ Johnson, they are the SCW World Tag Team Champions, the team of Gigi Steward and Katie Steward, Team Desire!”

Katie walks around the ring and Gigi rolls under the bottom rope. Katie walks up the ring steps carefully and across the apron. TJ runs up after her and holds open the ropes for her to enter the ring. Katie walks to the center of the ring and she disrobes for the crowd. She shows off her wrestling attire. TJ takes her robe and exits the ring and Katie goes to her corner. They then hand off the World Tag Team Championship belts to TJ.

Sharper: “Team Desire back in the ring as a team; first time since they won the titles. They’re on top of the world.”

Knots: “History-making last time they were out here. And at Rise to Greatness, gotta be at your best. Elimination rules. Team Desire, Twisted & Sadistic, and Light in the Darkness!”

The bell sounds. Gigi starts off for her team; Striker for his. Gigi turns to Striker and heads over and David Striker quickly goes low and lifts Gigi up and spears her back into a neutral corner. Striker then spins her around and into the corner and Striker hits a back elbow. Gigi staggers out.

Sharper: “And Striker turning up the tempo right at the start. Gigi meeting the challenge. But a hard elbow right there.”

He bounces off and goes for a running senton backsplash, but Gigi rolls out of the way. He hits the mat and gets up and Gigi gets up and lunges, grabbing his head and hitting a bulldog. She then rolls over and tags in Katie. Katie enters the ring and stomps Dumont in the face. Sharper: “And the Stewards using their teamwork.”

Knots: “Dumont didn’t see it, but Katie and Gigi just beating the hell out of him.”

Sharper: “Just pummeling him.”

Gigi gets up and Katie exits to the apron. Gigi tags her in. She gets back and Gigi steps up into Katie’s hands who lifts her up into a corkscrew moonsault onto Dumont. She gets up and forearms Striker off the apron as Katie goes for the pin.

Sharper: “But the absolute disruptors! They disrupted!”

Dumont rolls off as Gigi rolls over. Striker turns and staggers over. Dumont gets up and Striker raises his arm.

Dumont steps back as Striker looks around. TJ looks on in shock as Katie moves to the corner. Gigi heads over to her and the scene cuts away.

Brittany Lohan turns away from one of the monitors backstage as Glory Braddock turns to the camera.

Lohan: “Looks like they got caught.”

Glory: “Seems to be a trend. Too bad, no more mistakes. No more second chances. No more hiding. It’s been a year in the making. A year ago, Brittany and I, we meet Team Desire. And I earned the titles first, but still…both of us, me, Katie, we earned what our goal was. To become Supreme Champions.”

Lohan: “Time for us to take it all.”

Glory: “Sadly, Brittany is right. Your story, it had its ending. You had your moment, your celebration and while you think you can get past us, not one team has had the last laugh over us this past year. Not one.”

Lohan: “And we will have that last laugh when Rise to Greatness is done.”

Glory: “This time, elimination rules. You have to outlast each team. No what could have been. We can’t claim we didn’t lose. No…the team that wins, it can claim it is the best. And no better way to end this story than with us, Twisted & Sadistic, the team that has survived every challenge surviving in the end. Sorry, Amelia, Luz, Katie, Gigi. I respect you all, but we’re not walking away defeated.”

Lohan: “Light in the Darkness…Team Desire. You need to beat us. And that’s not happened yet.”

Lohan and Braddock walk off as the scene cuts away.

Breakdown returns as Destiny Pages stands with Ryan LeCavalier in the backstage interview area.

Page: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Destiny Page here-“

Ryan LeCavalier just sighs.

Page: “And I’m here with one of SCW’s newest signings, The Lost Monarch, Ryan LeCavalier and Ryan, you’ve seemed a bit more aggressive last week-“

LeCavalier: “No, I was not more aggressive. I was simply just disappointed. SCW is supposed to be one of the greatest promotions and they give me someone who is a fool pining over our World Champion and someone else who has been too distracted to put in their best effort. And Rise to Greatness is coming up and…maybe I’m just asking for too much, but in my time away, have things really dropped off that badly? Is it too much to ask for a challenge? Something to remind me I made the right decision not only by returning, but here…”

Ryan LeCavalier sighs.

LeCavalier: “While some like you are just happy to be acknowledged while you doll yourselves up, I have higher aims and-“

???: “Did the old ways not just understand making a challenge? Going to the boss?”

LeCavalier turns as Marie Jones walks over with Angelica Jones with her.

Marie: “Look, I’ve done the I think I’m better than thou routine. I’ve also made decisions I’m not proud of. But I’m not going to stand back when I’ve been pushing myself to earn back what I’ve lost for the last few months, to someone who just came in here, months away, and thinking they’re everything. Fine, you want a challenge – I’m going to say the most arrogant thing about me right now, and people can read into it, but it’s going to make my point – I’m a former number one contender to the World Championship; Tag Champ; US Champion; TV Champion. And I’m as motivated as ever. So…”

LeCavalier looks at Marie, sizing her up.

Marie: “You want a challenge. I’m still fighting for my redemption and fighting for the honour of SCW to put you in your place, reminding you what we do here, that sounds like a great step for me.”

LeCavalier: “We’ll see, Marie…We’ll see.”

LeCavalier walks off before looking at Angelica and then heading off. Marie watches her leave.

Suddenly the opening chords of Godsmack’s “Greed” begins to play as the man in the suit from earlier slowly walks out onto the entrance way as the Detroit crowd starts to boo. The man encourages the boos to get even louder.

Sharper: “Wait a minute. I’ve seen that man before! Jamison Frost…”

Knots: “Wait, who is that guy…do you know him??”:

Sharper: “I do and he’s had a record of being hard to handle and if he’s here, he’s not alone!”

The man, Jamison Frost, motions for the music to be cut as he pulls a mic out of his jacket and gives the crowds a great big, smug smile as he motions to the crowds at ringside.

Frost: “So, just in case you all don’t know who I am. My name is Jamison Frost and I represent one of the most successful, infamous, and sadistic franchises in professional wrestling and if you don’t know they are, then some of you Motor City mouth breathers can ask one of your fellows, that is if they can stop cheering me long enough to answer you…let alone get some of that stale beer breath of their back into their lungs to even breathe!!”

“But if you’re curious as to who my clients are….?”

Frost motions at the video wall which suddenly see three men. One, a slightly portly Japanese man, is cheering on the other two men. The taller of the two men is leaning against the wall before he turns to regard the other man who has YUSA down on the ground, her face turning purple from the pain of the Iron Claw that is locked hard onto her face as the the bearded man simply looks at her pain wracked face with an almost bored look on his. The Japanese man issues some orders.

Bearded Man: You heard him!

The bearded man then stands up, hauling YUSA up with him before they turn and throw her off camera and into a series of pipes, storage crates and a table, causing some of it to fall on top of her. The one man gives a wink and a kiss to her before they start to head off.

Knots: “no….”

Sharper: “Wait…wasn’t that??”

At that, Rob Zombie’s “Never Gonna Stop” begins to play as the three men from the attack on YUSA come walking out. The bearded man is first, with a slightly bored look on his face followed by the portly Japanese man and the tall man who is looking quite pleased with himself as Frost motions at his clients.

Frost: “Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce you all to my clients. Being escorted by the “Master Thief” himself, Piero. Out first from Houston Texas, he is the “Harbinger of Fury” Alex Belmont and his tag team partner, he is the legendary “Albert Wesker of Luchadores” himself, he is none other than the “Blackheart” Wil Piece….together they are the Shinigami Foundation!!!”

The group gets booed for a couple more moments with Wil seemingly soaking in the boos like they are cheers before everything starts to die down and the group can begin to talk.

Wil: “Greetings DELTA CITY!....oh, I’m sorry. I forgot for a moment that story about improving a hickburg like *DETROIT* was strictly fiction, so please everybody…forgive me but I rather enjoyed the fictional world of Robocop to the apparently rather poor high def version that is the reality that you all live in.”

Sharper: “They’re not exactly endearing themselves to Detroit here.”

Knots: “That is putting things in a very polite way, my friend.”

Wil: “Now, me and the rest of the boys were hanging out and enjoying the combined fruits of our labors as we were flicking around the channels on Youtube TV, trying to find something interesting when we came across an episode of Breakdown and what we saw actually offended me.”

“And if you all know my *rep*, then you all know just how freaking impossible that is to do, but sure enough right there it was…something that made the very rotten core of me twitch in disgust.”

“You see on this particular episode of Breakdown was two very stupid little bitches that just happen to call themselves “Twisted and Sadistic” and they were throwing this massive hissy fit over losing the tag titles and so they had to go around, throwing their non-existent weight around like they were actually of some importance or something. Look, things go like this, you two little twits. If you lose the titles, you go after the people who have your titles and not everyone else on the roster in an attempt to bully the president.”

“All that does is show the front office of a promotion that you *YOURSELVES* no longer feel that you are qualified to once again be the tag champions of a given promotion which in turn causes the president of promotion to seek out talent that not only can get the job done and are actually draws.”

Wil then motions at the assembled Foundation on the stage.

Wil: “Case in point and as everybody in our industry knows, I speak only the *TRUTH* and nothing but the complete and honest *TRUTH* but when the two of you, Twisted, decided to have your little bit then the powers that be here in SCW chose to start looking into teams with legit backgrounds that had reps for doing what was needed to get the job done, be it winning the straps or just cause general havoc, and that’s why we were here in Supreme Championship Wrestling!!”

Wil then hands the mic over to Alex who pushes a hand through his sheath of dark hair.

Alex: “Now what my august and esteem partner was trying to put such a fine point on is that we have come here to SCW because this company needed a couple of proper villains and for those of you who are wondering why the attack on YUSA, well the answer to that is simple…if you’ve got a major pay per view on the way and you got two complete and total *bastards* wanting to make an impact, well…what do you do right?”

The two men look at each other and give twisted smiles before doing a fist bump for a moment before Alex continues.

Alex: You know Maidens, we’ve got an open dance card for the next big show that SCW is doing if you want to step up and defend the honor of your anime. The same goes for you two in the so called “Team Desire”. Wil and I caught that thing you called a “promo” on Dangerous Minds and I’ve got to say that the only other time that I’ve ever seen something so lazy, well, they’re not around here anymore!!”

“Now we’ve come out here to say our piece and that’s exactly what we’ve done. A little time and a little patience, and let’s see what happens next shall we?”

Alex tosses the mic to the side as “Never Gonna Stop” picks back up as the Foundation stands triumphant as the screen cuts to commercial.

Backstage, Leroy Adams stands backstage, holding a card in his hand. He just looks around before we see Eavan Maloney slowly walking over into the scene. Leroy turns to her.

Eavan: “You-“

Leroy: “You.”

Eavan: “I still want to finish what we started last week, but this-“

Just then, WASLEY appears in the scene, held up by Kim. Kim steps in.

Kim: “No! WASLEY! WASLEY said…REVENGERS assemble! Phase two though…different actors and-“

Eavan sighs.

Leroy: “Did you do this?’

Kim: “Not just that Lee-Ad! I’m the reason you’re here. Found the money in my pants pocket…or the bank or…who cares? But the REVENGERS should always be here!”

Leroy: “You….I can’t take it. I appreciate it but-“

Kim: “No! You’ve more than proven you should be here and after Rise to Greatness, if you win, you’ll get your contract and cause more destruction and blood and fighting and beer bottles broken and it will be great! Exactly what we want.”

Eavan: “If he wins…”

Kim: “Same for you. You’re sharpening your knives. I love it! And I’m here to make sure the Underground is in good hands and I wanted the best. And right here, maybe the past, present and future of the Underground. Maybe more. Davey Boy. Oktoberfest. It’s a RENAISSANCE…But…’

Kim gets serious.

Kim: “James. He came to stop me, and now is going after you…”

Kim points at Eavan. She then points to Leroy.

Kim: “And now you. And James is a terrible person. He wants to ruin our fun. No more…hence, REVENGERS!”

Eavan: “You realize we’re not a team.”

Kim: “This isn’t going to be like Enigma. We win by maiming each other too. But we win by one of us walking out champion. I mean, one wins more but…”

Leroy: “We’ll make sure James won’t win. Least I can do for you.”

Kim: “See! Lee-Ad gets it!”

Eavan: “Just as long as I still have my title…”

Kim: “Then let the best REVENGER win!”

Kim smiles before turning to WASLEY.

Kim: “I know, they didn’t come together. Oh well…we can work on teambuilding at Rise to Greatness!”

Kim skips off as Leroy watches her go. Eavan just glares at Leroy. Leroy turns back to her.

Eavan: “Remember…”

Leroy: “Yeah, yeah…”

Eavan then walks off as Breakdown cuts to the ring.

Deanna Frost vs. Konrad Raab

Feuer Frei by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace in the air, wearing red and black skull face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands. Ginny Raab walks out behind him. Raab crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, from Cologne, Germany, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos. Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes, while Ginny walks up the stairs and gets in the ring with Konrad. As he's in the ring, Konrad, without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, with Ginny taking Konrad's flanged German mace away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head as Ginny leaves the ring and goes backstage.

Sharper: “Konrad Raab is riled up tonight. There’s a bit of meat on this bone too between Deanna and Konrad going back to Taking Hold of the Flame. And this is with both going into Rise to Greatness weekend with massive matches.”

Knots: “Shaun Cruze better watch closely. He wanted this opportunity. He wanted this shot. Well here, we are and Raab isn’t exactly going to take it easy.”

The chords of “People Like Us” by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet. The SCW United States Championship belt sits around her waist.

Phillips: “And his opponent, from Manhattan, New York, the SCW United States Champion, she is Deanna Frost!”

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the redhead jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd, holding up the US Title. She turns to go to the next part of the ring, only for Raab to run over and clothesline her down. The crowd boos, her music stops, and the bell sounds.

Sharper: “And Raab taking Deanna’s head off with a clothesline.”

Knots: “Why not? Cruze said he’s one of things wrong with the business. May as well play to it!”

Sharper: “And the US Champion, who goes into a big Rise to Greatness weekend, facing the Enigma and Matthew Knox on back to back nights, now has to worry about surviving this!”

Deanna turns as Raab stomps her in the face before stomping her over and over in the chest. The official, Steve Hollinsworth, tries to get him back, but Raab then drops down, kneeling next to her, nailing her with a series of hard right hands.

Sharper: “Raab teeing off on the US Champion.”

Knots: “I know it’s hard to mistake Deanna Frost for Shaun Cruze, but Konrad may be just thinking of that right now.”

Deanna pulls herself up and Raab runs over and drills her with a European uppercut. She hits the mat and the crowd boos. She grabs at the ropes and Raab pulls her up and moves her to the corner. He then starts to choke her.

He then turns around and runs at Deanna for a body splash, but Deanna gets her knees up and then runs over and hits a double knee, riding Raab down with a meteora. The crowd roars. Deanna rolls through. She then starts to get up and Raab rolls over, getting up only for Deanna to run at him and hit a running knee lift. Raab pops up and Deanna hits the ropes, bouncing off and drilling him with a clothesline.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost with a series of strikes. The clothesline gets Raab off his feet!”

Knots: “A couple of good knees in there too and Deanna, for the first time, can actually take a breath in this match.”

Deanna crawls up to her feet as Raab gets up and Deanna runs over and nails him with a hard forearm and then another and another before then jumping up and hitting a dropkick. Raab hits the mat. He gets back up and Deanna hits a second dropkick, knocking him back down. Raab rolls over to the ropes and gets up and turns to her. Deanna hits a drop toe hold. Raab hits the mat and Deanna gets up and hits a knee drop to the back of Raab’s head. She rolls through and gets up and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and jumps up and hits a second knee drop to his head. She rolls him over.

Raab kicks out. Both get up and Deanna kicks Raab in the ribs. She pulls him in for the Spring Fling, but Raab spins out and pulls her into a short-arm clothesline. The crowd ohs. Deanna hits the mat and rolls over. She gets up and Raab grabs her and hits a quick back suplex.

Sharper: “And the veteran with the back suplex after the short-arm clothesline.”

Knots: “Just take her back down. Why not? Stomp her in the head too!”

Sharper: “Just no respect. Stepping on her face!”

Raab steps on Deanna’s face and walks over to the corner. He exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. Deanna remains down and Raab looks down at her before diving off for a frog splash, but Deanna rolls out of the way. Raab hits the mat. The crowd ohs. Raab holds his stomach and gets up, gritting his teeth. Deanna gets up and grabs him and hits the Spring Fling DDT. She turns and hooks the leg.

Raab shoots his shoulder up. Deanna rolls off and looks out at the crowd before getting up to her feet. Raab slowly rolls over and starts to get up and Deanna then runs at him and drills him with a knee to the side of the head. Raab falls back into the ropes, down in a seated position. Deanna then runs across the ring, bouncing off and running at him and hitting a double knee to his chest against the ropes. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Deanna, again with the knees.”

Knots: “Making sure to get all of the impact too. The ropes just held Raab there. Nowhere to go.”

Raab rolls over, holding his chest. He gets up and Deanna sees this and runs over to him. She grabs him and hooks him in a waistlock. She then takes him over with a bridging German suplex!

Raab gets his shoulder up. He rolls over. He starts to get up as Deanna rolls over and stirs and then runs at him and grabs him again and hits a second German suplex, this time, releasing him.

Sharper: “Two huge German suplexes! Deanna hoisting him up and throwing him back!”

Knots: “Who cares if he’s bigger? Just make sure to drop him on his head!”

Raab rolls over and Deanna grabs him and then hits a bulldog as he gets up. She rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Raab gets his shoulder up again. Deanna rolls off and moves to the ropes. She exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. She gets to the top and looks at Raab, but Raab gets up and runs over and grabs her and hits a press slam off the top rope. Deanna hits the mat, rolling over, holding her lower back in pain.

Sharper: “Raab short-circuiting the offense of the US Champion. Just launching her across the ring.”

Knots: “At least he didn’t drop her on her head!”

Sharper: “Instead on her lower back and Deanna feeling it.”

Deanna rolls over, wincing in pain and Raab runs over and hits a lunging European uppercut. She hits the mats. Raab hooks the leg.

Deanna gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and stirs as Raab then grabs her, but Deanna nails him in the ribs with a hard right and then another. She runs into the ropes, bouncing off and Raab suddenly grabs her in a choke. He hoists her up and hits the Burninator. The crowd ohs. Raab turns and covers her.

2!

Deanna shoots her shoulder up. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Deanna! Fighting through!”

Knots: “You know she’s taking more punishment than she’d like.”

Sharper: “A lot on her mind and it may be playing out here. She’s taken a few chances or maybe a few risks she may not if she was thinking clearer…”

Knots: “Both the Enigma and Matthew Knox will pick up on that!”

Deanna rolls over and Raab reaches down and grabs her and pulls her up. He drags her up by her hair and hooks her arms and spins around, going to lift her up. Deanna however backflips down. Raab steps forward and turns around only for Deanna to hit the Burnout. The crowd ohs. Raab hits the ropes and staggers forward and Deanna hits him with a second one for emphasis. Raab goes down. Deanna goes for the pin.

Sharper: “One to daze him. The next to take him out!”

Knots: “And Deanna got all of both!”

3!

The bell sounds. Deanna rolls off as Raab turns his head. Deanna starts to get up as the official comes over and raises her arm. Deanna defiantly looks up at the camera as her music plays throughout the arena.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Deanna Frost!”

Sharper: “Frost successful here tonight! Outlasting Konrad Raab.”

Knots: “Yeah, but this is not what Raab wanted and it’s only going to make him more angry. Rise to Greatness weekend, Cruze will be there. And you wonder if they’ll be able to stay away from one another.”

Deanna Frost takes a moment and turns and starts to celebrate as Raab remains down.

Backstage, we see YUYO with Mr. Meowkazawa and the SCW officials as they check on YUSA who is sitting up against the wall. She winces in pain. NEMO and SAWA look on.

YUYO: “YUSA! You know who I am? It’s YUYO!”

Meowkazawa: “YUYO…she’s probably hurt. Let the professionals-“

YUYO: “Okay, Shining Maidens! We need to offer our powers of love and justice and-“

Meowkazawa: “I meant medical professionals!”

YUYO: “I know! We are giving positive thoughts though.”

SAWA: “Why us…”

YUYO turns and hears this.

YUYO: “Because we represent everything good in the world. We are the wave of the future and they want to snuff us out. Just like Bree Lancaster. Can’t have YUYO become champion-“

SAWA: “She seemed nice-“

YUYO: “That’s what she wants you to think. All to turn on you and attack you from behind. Happens all the time in professional wrestling. It’s why we need to fight. And we need to win. And we need to change the world. EXPLOSION!”

YUSA starts to be helped up and Meowkazawa looks on concerned as the officials help her up.

COMMERCIALS

The scene opens up backstage where Amelia Blythe and La Pequena Luz stands in front of the wall.

Amelia: “This is now how we thought we would be here. Two months ago, it was Light in the Darkness against Twisted & Sadistic. Winner take all. Team Desire – you deserve kudos. And trust us, we’re not going to rub in your loss tonight. That….we know how it happens. Wen ou think you’re on the straight path and a sudden turn comes.”

Luz: “The issue is now how you follow up. At first, we didn’t handle it well. We needed a wake-up call. Tough love. A true legend in this sport to tell us how wrong we were.”

Amelia: “And trust us…we nearly threw away everything we did because of a moment of weakness and a crisis of confidence.”

Luz: “Glory and Brittany may call us out on it. Even if privately, they have to be wondering if we can handle it. Rise to Greatness now is no longer two on two, but two on two on two. And it won’t be just one fall to a finish. Each team has to be eliminated. No retread of Retribution. And no excuses if one loses.”

Luz pauses, letting that linger.

Amelia: “There won’t be any excuses for any of us. Rise to Greatness will determine who is the best team in SCW. The fact that teams like the Dangerous Minds or the Shining Maidens can threaten the dominant teams of the last year…that shows that this not only needs to end as we have teams chomping at the bit, but it also shows that we need to be at our best. We can be easily dethroned.”

Luz: “And at Rise to Greatness, we plan to cap off this year by defeating the two teams that made history against us. It’s our turn to make history.”

Luz and Amelia turn to one another.

Both: “Our turn…”

The scene cuts away.

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain, accompanied by Lexy Chapel. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering, as Lexy waves her arms, trying to get them to cheer even louder for her client.

Sinfully Seductive

Captivatingly Corrupt

DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.

Sharper: “Lexy Chapel says she has a plan and we can one thing. She’s told Ravyn to stay backstage. She’s put her in a battle royal on the Pre-Show. It could earn an Adrenaline or Underground Title shot.”

Knots: “She’s trying to keep her out Syren and her’s way for Rise to Greatness!”

Sharper: “Just what does Lexy have in mind…then again, we could see her make a statement here and until I hear it from CHBK, I’m not going to believe anything.”

Syren steps into the ring as Lexy Chapel enters and shows Syren off some more. She then runs over to the corner, demanding a microphone from Jason Phillips. Phillips hands her one and Lexy takes it and smiles, turning back to the ring. She looks around and smiles.

Chapel: “Okay, okay. Turn the music off. This is going to be a great moment…”

The music fades out as Syren turns to her, looking a bit unsure.

Chapel: “Because at Rise to Greatness, SYREN will be FREE! Finally free from that stipulation she foolishly agreed to and with the jealousy…see, your catchphrase….the jealousy of everyone holding her back. But it’s going to be big. Rise to Greatness, we’re going to be reintroduced to Syren. Syren will be back in the main event. Back at the top. Back to make sure that posers like Selena Frost have no chance at every surpassing her record for greatness. That’s right! Syren will finally be free of the stipulation. And I have the greatest option for her to face!”

Chapel smiles as she looks at the crowd.

Chapel: “That’s right. I have a great option. Someone who will give Syren the challenge and-“

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot.  A few seconds pass, which is when an open field is shown up on the SCW tron.  A flock of birds rise up from the tall grass and fly away as the sound of a piano can be heard playing, leading into the opening of "Bird Set Free" by Sia.  Syren turns to the stage. Lexy turns and tries to shoo Polly as Polly Pingotti walks out from the back. She then heads to the ring, microphone in her hand.

Chapel: “No, no, no. You! Leave! Polly! Go! Go! Shoo!”

Syren steps forward as Polly Pingotti reaches the ring and walks up the steel steps. She then walks into the ring. She steps forward to speak, but immediately, Lexy cuts her off.

Chapel: “Nonononononno, you’re not who should be out here. Polly, go to the back. Challenge Selena again. She called you a hobbit or something. Focus on her-“

Polly: “No, I came out here and honestly, partially for you Syren, partially for you Lexy.”

Syren says something off camera. Polly catches it and smiles a bit.

Chapel: “Well, uh…she’s already-“

Polly: “I don’t hide from challenges. And you know what, I already know what is going to happen – I may be on the cusp. Yeah, I didn’t win last week or against Hudson. But neither will say it was a walk in the park. I’m only going to get better by facing the best and going right at them, but I also know if you get that tenth win…I’m pushed down the card, no matter what you claim you want. With Lexy here, with SCW knowing you’re a star, I’m not going to let that happen with a fight.”

Syren nods.

Chapel: “No, that wasn’t a nod. Syren’s just hearing you. Practicing active listening-“

Polly: “Maybe you should for once, Lexy. She’s been wanting something different for a while-“

???: “Too bad that different shouldn’t be you and after the ass-kicking we gave you and Xander, Syren’s left on the list of people who deserve to find out the meaning of FAFO.”

The cameras turn to the stage where “The One” Kirsten Scott walks out from the back with Kandis. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as they look at the ring. Kirsten heads down to the ring, with Kandis.

Kristen: “Syren, you already chose who you should be facing by getting involved in our business. Simple as that. Polly can say what she wants-“

Polly: “We have unfinished business too. I don’t forget a month ago.”

Kristen: “Too bad, I don’t care. And if you want another lesson, we’re not hard to find.”

Kirsten and Kandis reach the ring. Lexy looks around as Kristen walks up the steel steps and Kandis pulls herself onto the apron. Kirsten steps into the ring, Kandis follows.

Kristen: “So, Syren…plan to finish what you started? Because I’m here to send you back down that ladder, start over, give up, because Kandis and I…and not Polly…are the next in line. Simple as that.”

Polly turns to Syren and leans over.

Polly: “You can decide this. You have been standing up to Lexy and saying what you wan-“

Before Polly can even finish, Kirsten Scott nails Polly with the Hidden Blade. She falls forward into Syren. Syren goes down too and Kandis then steps up as Kandis grabs Polly and lifts her up and runs her into the corner. Polly turns and Kandis nails her with a kick to the ribs and then another and another before Kirsten Scott mounts Syren, hammering away on her. The crowd boos as Lexy looks around.

Chapel: “Stop it! Stop it-“

Kirsten gets up and goes after Chapel. Chapel drops down and rolls to the floor. She backs up as Kirsten turns around and stomps Syren over and over. Polly covers up as Kandis gets a few more shots in. Scott Reed then runs out from the back. The crowd roars as Scott Reed runs down and slides in. He gets up and Kirsten Scott turns as Reed tackles her down. Kirsten grabs at him and nails him a few times as Reed nails her with a couple of shots. Kandis then turns and runs over and clubs Reed in the back a few times. Reed rolls over. Kirsten starts to get up as Kandis stomps him. The crowd erupts as Xander Valentine comes out from the back.

Sharper: “And now Xander out! Scott Reed fighting, trying to do the right thing here, even if Kirsten Scott has disrespected him.”

Knots: “Kandis and Kirsten Scott have just declared war on everyone!”

Xander Valentine comes down to the ring as Kandis stomps away on Reed. Kirsten Scott gets up and stomps Reed too. Xander slides in and Kandis turns to him and goes for a spin kick, but Xander catches her and shoves her back. She stumbles to the ropes and Xander runs over and clotheslines her over the top rope to the floor. Xander then turns and boots Kirsten Scott in the face.

Sharper: “Last week, they left Xander lying! They spray painted FAFO on him.”

Knots: “And Kristen and Kandis are not finding out what that means for Xander!”

Kirsten slowly gets up and Reed gets up and nails Kirsten, knocking her down. He then starts to attack her as Xander is pulled to the floor by Kandis. He ends up on his feet and turns around and Kandis nails him with a hard right and then another. She then rears back and lunges, but Xander grabs her by the throat. He then turns and hoists her up and chokeslams her through the announce table. The crowd erupts as Kandis ends up in a heap. Officials run down to the ring as Kirsten Scott starts to roll out and Polly gets a few shots in too as Syren looks on from the corner. Kirsten Scott moves to the floor and then backs away from Xander, holding her body in pain.

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott bailing as Scott Reed and Polly Pingotti get some shots in.”

Lexy Chapel looks around.

Knots: “Kandis ruined our table. Well, Xander did. But Kandis went through it!”

Xander turns and pulls himself into the ring. Lexy runs around to Syren and pulls her out of the ring as officials come to the ring. Lexy looks at Xander as Xander shakes his head. Syren looks at the ring.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Syren with Lexy Chapel, talking.

Chapel: “You sure?”

Syren nods. Ravyn comes into view with Autumn and Fall, only for Syren to turn to the camera.

Syren: “Before I go and start to watch some tape, after that…and Lexy is on board. Whatever she had planned, it’s gone. Polly – you want to challenge me. I’m there. I get it. I know what you’re thinking because I was there many, many years ago. And I have to stay fresh. To Kirsten Scott – yeah, I got involved in your business. You want to finish it and try to stop me from getting that tenth win Lexy wants me to get so bad, then try. Because you know what, maybe someone needs to send a message to you about what happens when you overextend. And finally, Scott Reed…I’m not going to step on your toes. Come on in too. Get your shot at Kirsten Scott. But also get your shot to prove what you can do. You did the right thing out there. And have been for a while. And no matter what, I’m going to either earn that tenth win…or someone is going to prove they wanted it more!”

Syren pauses.

Syren: “CHBK…make the match.”

Syren then turns and heads off. Lexy Chapel turns to the camera.

Chapel: “Yeah!”

Chapel then heads after Syren as Ravyn, Autumn and Fall follow.

Matthew Knox vs. Gavin Taylor

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show

The crowd roars as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, the All-Star Gavin Taylor!”

Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feel it whoa (whoa)
The more I need it whoa (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope. The song continues...

I cheated to get what I got
Stepped all over you self for my spot
I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not
I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.

Sharper: “This could be one of those matches that could be a hell of a match.”

Knots: “Gavin Taylor seemingly is weighing his options. Now trying to help out JC by taking out Knox…I don’t know Gavin, this may not be the best plan.”

Sharper: “And JC, we don’t know if he’s here. He’s definitely watching as he’s shared on social media his own disdain to Gavin’s words last week.”

The houselights cut out, a single Raven cries out soon joined by another, then another until the cries of an entire unkindness fill the house sound system, soon broken by "Hell Broke Luce" by Tom Waits cutting through, the house lights coming up to a dull blue as a single white strobe light pulses in time to the song's percussion. Standing in the middle of that pulsing light, back to the ring, stands Matthew Knox adorned in his ring gear and a sleeveless hoodie. A

Phillips: “His opponent, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, he is the Raven, Matthew Knox!”

rms outstretched like a bird in flight he pivots on a heel and begins making his way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and picking a corner to charge and leap upon to scream the audience into a frenzy. He takes a lap around the ring, before kneeling in a corner and patiently waiting for the ringbell to sound.

Sharper: “Matthew Knows meanwhile looking to get another win. To prove to any doubters in SCW that he could be US Champion, that he deserves the shot. A few people backstage showing their disdain at him jumping the queue.”

Knots: “And he told them flat out – when he’s champ, he’ll be easy to find. I’m sure Deanna Frost appreciated that.”

The bell sounds. Gavin then walks out and points at Knox as Knox steps up. Gavin goes to stay something only for Knox to smack Gavin’s hand away and then smack him. The crowd roars. Gavin turns and looks at Knox before Gavin turns and Knox kicks him in the ribs. He then pulls him in and starts to go for the Mercy. The crowd roars as Knox tries to hook it in, but Gavin takes Knox forward, snapmaring him forward. Knox rolls through to his feet and gets up and Gavin takes him down with a headlock takedown. Knox counters with a headscissors. Gavin nips out and both get up and Knox knees Gavin in the ribs before elbowing him in the back of his head. Gavin falls to a knee and Knox then knees him in the face. Gavin rolls back to the ropes, holding his face. Knox then walks around the ring.

Sharper: “And a series of hard strikes. Gavin Taylor…his nose may be busted.”

Knots: “He may have gotten lucky. Then again, he still took those three shots!”

Gavin gets up and turns and Knox kicks him in the ribs. He whips him into ropes. Gavin bounces off and Knox runs at him, nailing him with a running forearm. Gavin hits the mat. He turns and gets up and Knox nails him with another forearm and then another. He again gets him to the ropes and fires him off. Gavin bounces off and Knox lifts him up for a back drop. Gavin spins through and lands behind Knox. Knox turns around and Gavin hits a left jab, a hard right hook and then a dropkick, knocking Knox down. Gavin gets up as Knox slowly gets up and Gavin scoops him up and slams him down. He then hits a knee drop and goes for the pin.

Knox kicks out. Both men get up and Gavin nails Knox with another hard right before getting him to the ropes. He then whips him across. Knox bounces off and Gavin goes to send him over the top rope, but Knox spins through and sends Gavin up and over the top rope and Gavin lands feet first before momentum takes him forward, causing him to roll into the entrance way. (1)

Sharper: “Gavin getting a bit cocky there. Knox saw it coming. Up and over goes the All-Star.”

Knots: “And head over heels too. He got to see all of the arena on that one.”

Gavin slowly gets up. (2) Knox slides to the floor. (1) He then quickly kicks Gavin in the ribs. He then runs him over and into the barricade. (2) Gavin turns and Knox hits a shoot kick to his chest before rearing back and hitting another. (3) He turns and runs Gavin back to the ring. Knox rolls in after him, but Gavin rolls across the ring and to the opposite side. Knox rolls his eyes. (1) He then exits the ring on that side. (2) He then grabs Gavin, who suddenly thumbs Knox in the eye. Knox turns away only for Gavin to then run up behind him and shove him face first into the ringpost. (3) Knox rolls off as the crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Taylor lulled him in. The thumb to the eye and that lined him up.”

Knots: “At least he didn’t see it coming!”

Sharper: “And hard into the ringpost.”

Knox grimaces in pain. (4) Taylor walks over and pulls him up and then scoops him up and drops him chest first on the barricade. (5) Gavin watches as Knox winces and moves to the ring. Gavin pushes him into the ring. Knox rolls over and Gavin then pulls himself onto the apron. He looks at Knox and slingshots over into an elbow drop. The crowd ohs. Gavin hooks the leg.

Knots: “And Knox right now may be wondering what he got into. Gavin Taylor having the edge here.”

Gavin gets up and hits a leg drop. The crowd ohs. He rolls over and hits an elbow drop. He then geos for the lateral press.

Gavin stumbles back and Knox runs out and ducks a clothesline. He stops and turns and hits a tornado kick to the head. The crowd ohs. Gavin falls to the mat. Gavin stumbles back up and turns to Knox who then grabs him in a Muay Thai clinch.

Knots: “I think I spoke too soon. Knox is pissed!”

Sharper: “And relying on his martial arts background!”

Knox knees Gavin in the face repeatedly as he guides Gavin’s head into his knee before then letting go and then just nailing him with a spinning front elbow, knocking Gavin to the mat. Knox drops down and hooks the leg.

Gavin gets his shoulder up. He rolls over and crawls to the corner. Knox gets up and follows up and grabs him and pulls him up before Gavin shoves him back. Knox stops himself and Gavin lunges and goes for a superkick, but Knox catches him, spins his leg around and then jumps up and hits a crescent kick, knocking Gavin down.

Sharper: “And a crescent kick. Gavin tried a superkick-“

Knots: “Listening to Lexy!”

Sharper: “Didn’t work there!”

Knots: “Because it didn’t connect!”

Gavin slowly gets up and Knox then hooks his head and leg and hits a bridging fisherman’s suplex.

1!

2!

Gavin kicks out. He rolls over to his side and starts to get up. Knox runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a scissors kick, but Gavin pulls away and then Knox spins around and into Gavin who hits the Desperation Buzzer-Beater. Gavin looks up and takes a few breaths, slowly rolling over. Knox rolls over and slowly starts to pull himself up. He winces in pain and gets to his feet and turns to Gavin who hoists him up and hits a standing spinebuster. He rolls through, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Knox gets his shoulder up.

Sharper: “And Knox getting that shoulder up, just before two!”

Knots: “Gavin Taylor is motivated to say the least. Maybe this is more than just whatever he’s thinking with JC!”

Sharper: “Nearfall by Gavin Taylor, the former runner up in the Taking Hold of the Flame. Former Adrenaline Champion too. Trios Tournament winner.”

Gavin gets up and walks around the ring. Knox slowly rolls over and Gavin then walks over to him and whips him into the ropes. Knox bounces off and Gavin powerslams him down. He then gets up and moves into the ropes and bounces off and Knox suddenly reaches up and takes him over with an inside cradle!

1!

2!

Gavin kicks out. Both get up and Gavin throws a clothesline, but Knox ducks and jumps to the middle rope and dives back, hitting a springboard cutter! The crowd cheers. Knox turns and hooks the leg.

2!

Gavin gets his shoulder up. Gavin rolls over and starts to get up and Knox turns and waits. Gavin turns to Knox and Knox goes for the Dead and Lovely, but Gavin ducks and nearly takes down the official, instead stomping himself but knocking him over. Knox turns, not focused on it, but Gavin hits the Better Buzzer-Beater. The crowd ohs as Knox goes down.

Sharper: “What the hell!”

Knots: “A better Buzzer-Beater!”

Sharper: “The man just hit a low blow. Right to Knox!”

Knox rolls over, grabbing himself in pain. He starts to get up and Gavin grabs him and pulls him out and then takes him over with an inside cradle. The official counts.

1!

2!

Knox kicks out. Gavin looks stunned. He then turns and looks at the official and then to Knox. Knox slowly gets up, still in pain and Gavin then sets up and runs at him before going for the Gavin Taylor Lariat, but Knox ducks and stops. Gavin stops at the ropes and Knox hits the Dead and Lovely. Gavin hits the mat. Knox walks around the ring.

Sharper: “Gavin thought that the Buzzer Beater would do it, but Knox, fighting through.”

Knots: “He needs to prove those people in the back. Even if he feels he’s better than them. He can’t let Gavin have this! His balls can wait! And may not be the worst. I’ve heard rumours of the power of what is therein!”

Sharper: “Stop it!”

Knots: “What? He’s fathered whole promotions according to the dirt sheets!”

Gavin slowly gets up and Knox waits for him as Gavin gets up to his feet and lunges at Knox. Knox catches him and takes him over with an overhead exploder suplex. Gavin rolls through and starts to get up, but Knox turns and grabs him and pulls him up with the Mercy! The crowd erupts as Gavin struggles as Knox keeps the hold fully locked in before then jumping up and driving him down with the Murder. The crowd ohs. He turns and hooks the leg.

1!

2!

3!

The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Knox rolls off.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, ‘The Raven’ Matthew Knox!”

Sharper: “And Matthew Knox continues to win. Undefeated in SCW so far. His most impressive win yet and next up, Deanna Frost and the US Championship!”

Knots: “And Knox is acting like it’s just a matter of time. He’s gunning for it. He’s had success everywhere else he’s been. Let’s see what he can do on the biggest stage in wrestling!”

Knox looks around and turns as he then quickly drops down to the floor and moves to the floor. Knox turns and looks around before smirking and starting to head to the back. Just then, the lights go out. The crowd roars. Knox stops and looks around, watching his flanks to be sure. Then big screen then turns on as we see “The Bogeyman” JC seated somewhere, the location unknown. He then lifts his head as he smirks.

JC: “Knox…”

Knox looks at the screen as we see Gavin Taylor stirring in the ring.

JC: “This is for you as much as it is for Gavin…and anyone else who has a problem with my way. Rise to Greatness is a big night for SCW. My first…won’t be my last. May be yours, though Knox…Gavin…Chris…”

JC pauses.

JC: “Knox, congratulations on your win. Too bad those will be coming few and far between. You won’t be able to run forever. You and I will meet despite your best efforts. And I know I’ll have your attention at Rise to Greatness. I noticed you’ve beat those who now hope to use me to revive or jumpstart their careers. A foolish move. And one that is going to leave them with a lasting result. At Rise to Greatness, they will be the message to you, Knox. I am coming. They can’t stop me. They won’t use me. I will use them. And after Rise to Greatness, SCW can understand exactly why the call me The Bogeyman, while you’ll live it every day, Knox!”

JC then reaches forward as the video ends. Knox just turns and looks back at Gavin as Gavin looks at the big screen. Knox then heads to the back, the crowd buzzing.

Knots: “Knox trying to no-sell it!”

Sharper: “Maybe, but I saw him listening to every work. Gavin too. JC’s reputation precedes him. Knox knows what it means. We’ve only gotten a taste here in SCW. Gavin wants him; Chris Dumont demanded in on it. We’ll see what they think come Rise to Greatness.”

Gavin slowly gets up, wincing as Knox disappears through the curtain.

Sharper: “Let’s now go backstage where Destiny Page is with the SCW Adrenaline Champion, Bree Lancaster.”

Backstage, Bree Lancaster stands with Destiny Page in the backstage area.

Page: “Thank you Adam. Bree Lancaster with me. It’s been an interesting night and frankly, everything has been interesting for you since the Adrenaline Contendership Tournament.”

Bree: “What have I gotten myself into just by being champion.”

Page: “Well YUYO worried about her allies. The Shinigami Foundation targeting her and she mentioned you may not be able to be trusted.”

Bree: “Sounds like YUYO is casting a wide net with little reason for it. First off, I hope your friend, YUSA, is okay. But trust me, I had nothing to do with it. I don’t need to affiliate with people like that and I’ll give you a little tip…I handle my issues in the ring. I’ve been steered away from that all year. Everyone who has wanted this title, that’s where I meet them and that’s where I’ve been beating them. Now, you’ve got this cute saying you’ve said a few times…you’re the third best wrestler in SCW. Taking Hold of the Flame said so.”

Bree scoffs.

Bree: “Big claim, but that’s one match. One where most of us here would say is as much about luck and skill, but you’re going to be giving yourself a big fall. Because while you say you were the third best, I wasn’t in there. You don’t know where I’d be ranked and I’ve been to the top of the mountain. And I have a lot of experience I can draw from, including the man who walked out at number one, by your metric. So YUYO, instead of the cute phrases, and the EXPLOSION!”

Bree shakes her head.

Bree: “And instead of saying I’m a snake in the grass when you don’t know me at all outside of our brief time together in Kim’s gauntlet match last year. Let’s just say, you’ll make your acquaintance with me properly at Rise to Greatness. And I hope that you learn plenty because…simply put, I plan to keep this title and I’ll show that in the ring.”

Bree turns to Page.

Page: “Thanks for your time.”

Bree nods.

Page: “Breakdown returns, after this!”

Breakdown cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

The opening of “Shot from a Cannon" can be heard blaring through the PA system.  The camera will pan through the curtain as the face of James Evans appears, igniting a negative reaction from the crowd, as they shower him in jeers. The camera remains on James as he breaks through the curtain. The boos intensify as James looks out at the crowd. James has a microphone in his hand.

Knots: “Kim reunites a new version of the Revengers and James Evans may be about to respond!”

"Ten minutes in he's sweating
Should I have asked for more than fame?
Ignore that beast, he's smiling
It's not 'til next New Year's Eve"

James slowly makes his way to the ring, as images of him winning various championships and hitting various moves appear on the screen. He reaches the ring, staring at it.

"Wish I could get that list
Yes, I would burn that list
Down he goes"

James then makes his way up the ring steps, before turning and facing the crowd, who continue to boo.

"Set him down to a real life failure
Held fast like the field mice, been there
Give a nod as if he knows, come round
Dead last with a drumroll when the dam blows"

He then goes to the corner and sits on the top turnbuckle, his back to the crowd, as the screen shows James lifting the SCW World title above his head, as his music comes to an end. He looks at the big screen before turning to the microphone in his hand. The crowd boos.

James: “Tonight…no attacks. No physical messages…..no need yet to send out the Revengers, Kim. Tonight, you, Eavan, Leroy….the past, present and future, you said, of the Underground Division….you all should listen.”

James looks around.

James: “That title…the destruction….that all is a stain on this sport. On humanity. On everything. And while the House of James is no more, I have not yet finished my crusade. And that is where we clashed again. First at Taking Hold of the Flame and since…”

James looks around.

James: “I won’t agonize over spilling blood. I won’t agonize over giving into my worst impulses. It’s not worth it. Because the ends will justify the means.”

James pauses again and looks arounds.

James: “Past, present, future? Right Kim? Eavan? Leroy? Whether you agree with it or not, I will see that for what it is…an admission. Kim has already made it clear she’s looking to move on. Finally has the self-respect to focus on competing instead of just maiming herself and her opponents. And think about who that cost us….”

James looks down.

James: “This could’ve been…should’ve been done in March. But Marie got involved. This time, I don’t care who gets involved. The ends will justify the means.”

James looks down for a moment.

James: “Because Kim, your Revengers will not be a unit. You each want to walk out of Rise to Greatness as Underground Champion. You to ensure the banner is still worthy of what you claim to have created. Eavan Maloney as she enters this new Eav-olution and made waves within months of debuting and Leroy Adams…for a paycheque. That really is the motivation. But my motivation is to kill this dream dead. And I will do whatever I have to ensure all three of you are laying and NOT the Underground Champion. I WILL LEAVE ST. LOUIS AS UNDERGROUND CHAMPION…”

James looks at the crowd.

James: “However I need to…and then I will take the title and return to obscurity with it. Taking it where it belongs. Leroy’s not the only one on a handshake deal. It’s about impact and attention, and I have all of yours. But when it’s done, I will hold all of the cards. And win or lose, Kim, whatever you’ve built, that reputation will leave with me. And the ends will justify the means…and I destroy the Underground’s Past…Present….and Future!”

James brings the microphone down. He looks up before “Shot from a Cannon” plays again. He looks around and hops down to the ring. He then steps forward, slowly walking across the ring.

Sharper: “James Evans with what cannot be seen as an empty threat. We know what he is capable of.”

Knot: “We’re reminded of it every time he comes out. It’s on the big screen.”

Sharper: “And James Evans plans to unleash it one more time…And in a place with no rules.”

James Evans places the microphone down and steps through the ropes. He drops down to the floor and heads to the back. The crowd boos him as James ignores their reaction, continuing on his way before Breakdown cuts away.

Destiny Page stands with Deanna Frost in the SCW interview area. She’s still in her wrestling attire. The SCW United States Championship is over her shoulder.

Page: “Destiny Page here and I’m with the SCW United States Champion, Deanna Frost. You managed to defeat Konrad Raab in an impressive outing and now you focus on Rise to Greatness where you will, if successful, defend the title in back to back nights, but in very different challenges.”

Deanna: “Knox…a normal one…it’s a veteran knowing what to do…and he’ll have a chance at my title if I get through The Enigma and there….”

Deanna shakes her head.

Deanna: “I don’t know what to think. I know Knox has JC as a potential other issue, but no offense to him. There’s something else there. There’s a history there. This…Enigma went after me…after Jessica…and for what? And then to have this moment where we can resolve this on the pre-show, playing to comments I made when I was younger and-“

Page turns. Deanna does too.

Page: “What…”

We then see a very dishevelled Jessica Winters running over to Deanna Frost. A couple of security guards run over to join her, quickly going to restrain her.

Deanna: “Jessica?!”

Winters: “Deanna…I’m sorry. I don’t know what has been going on. I….I’ve been almost locked in this body…and just thinking the same things…and…”

Guard: “Come on…we need to get you-“

Deanna: “Wait…Jessica…What? How did you get here?”

Winters: “I woke up…I saw where I was. I tried to get a doctor. And then…my parents signed me into their care. They don’t understand. I don’t understand. I….I just know what…what you said, what Selena said to me in the hospital…who he said…”

Guard: “Miss-“

Deanna: “She’s with me. She’s with me.”

Deanna turns to Jessica.

Deanna: “Jessica…come with me. We’ll go to my locker room. You look like hell. We’ll get you a change, a shower, you’ll feel better.”

Deanna grabs Jessica by the arm. Jessica’s eyes dart around as Deanna starts to walk with her.

Knots: “How the hell did she get here? And why here?”

Sharper: “Deanna’s focused on her right now…but why now? Deanna…be careful!”

Page watches off camera as the scene fades out.

We cut to a shot of Steve Griffin hitting a top rope decimator on CHBK from Rise to Greatness 2003, before cutting to a shot of Alistaire Allocco proudly holding the SCW World Championship and then showing a shot of Kelcey Wallace, Trinity Street and Lucas Knight standing over Ravyn Taylor and Kennedy Street at another Rise to Greatness event. A shot of Kandis smiling as she looks at the World Championship in her hand follows.

“This is your Rise to Greatness Rewind.”

The scene opens in the ring at Rise to Greatness 2008. Hurse slowly starts to move and Exeter walks over only to grab him and drive him down with a second Exoskeletal Extermination. Hurse arches his back in pain and rolls over. Exeter then rolls over and walks over to the corner. He climbs the corner and then stands on the ropes. He turns to the ladder and starts to climb all the way to the top. Exeter gets near the top and then yells at the referee to hold the ladder. The referee shakes his head no and Exeter snaps at him. He then runs over and holds the ladder. Exeter then smiles before climbing to the top. He squats on the top of the ladder.

Dawson: “This is suicidal!”

Exeter slowly stands up and then takes a deep breath. The crowd is all standing on their feet and Exeter dives forward and performs a 630 Spiral Tap, but Hurse rolls out of the way and Exeter crashes into the mat hard. The crowd ohs and a huge “Holy Sh*t!” chant begins coming from the crowd. Hurse then rolls over as Exeter yells in pain and Hurse throws his arm over the chest of Exeter. The referee goes down and counts.

1!

2!

3!

The referee calls for the bell, but the crowd is still going nuts over the failed move attempt.

Phillips: “The winner of this match, Hurse!”

Sharper: “My God! That was crash and burn in every sense of the phrase! Exeter damn near killed himself!”

Johnson: “That was insane!”

Dawson: “But he missed…and Hurse picks up the win! What an ending!”

Hurse rolls off of Exeter and the referee walks over and holds up his arm. Robin celebrates on the outside. Hurse then slowly rolls to the ropes before falling off the apron and goes over to Robin. Robin holds him up and Hurse holds his arm up. The Rise to Greatness XXI logo comes up on the screen.

Colleen vs. Waylon Creek

SCW Television Championship

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television Championship. First, on her way to the ring, from Orderville, Utah, she is Colleen!”

The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring. She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring. Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring. Once inside she does look around the arena. She simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand, warming up before the bell rings.

Sharper: “Before we get to Rise to Greatness weekend, Colleen could bring things full-circle. Aisling lost the title to Creek. Dumont tried to get it back. Colleen now stepping up.”

Knots: “And she’d love to get the title back too. Not just for the money, but it would be huge. First loss for Creek too!”

The sound and image of a babbling brook overtake the PA and screen. Shortly after, a man dressed in a suit flickers onto the screen, standing in the middle of the creek, facing away from the camera. “Mountain Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens comes over the system, and from behind curtain emerges a muscular figure in a skull mask, adorned by torn up flannels, being led by a black lab on a leash.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Wailing Creek, Idaho, he is the SCW Television Champion, Waylon Creek!”

The dog leads the way as Waylon Creek, carrying the SCW Television Championship, follows close behind, looking around the arena. He hands the dog off to a stage hand when he gets to the ring and appears to say something to the dog. The dog sits calmly as Creek enters the ring up the steps. He calmly goes to his corner without any posing. He hands his title to Jennifer Cassidy, the official, who promptly holds it over her head. The SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Creek is just wound so tight though. And we’ve seen fly off the handle. Derek Adonis, a couple of times to Chris Lawler. We finally found out what Creek found on Lawler a few weeks ago. But Lawler is here too.”

Knots: “So you’re saying that we’re going to see a throwdown?”

Sharper: “We may very well see just that.”

The bell sounds as Colleen looks at Creek and Creek then stretches out and rushes at Colleen. Colleen covers up as Creek runs over and nails her with a couple of overhead shots to the head and shoulder. Colleen then nails him with a couple of shots to the ribs. Creek then kicks her in the ribs before pulling her out and whipping her across into the ropes. She bounces off and Creek runs at her and hits a running double chop to the throat. The crowd ohs. Creek turns and Collene starts to get up and Creek nails her in the stomach with a hard right before then kneeing her in the ribs. He runs her over to the corner and throws her back first in. He then kicks her in the ribs over and over.

Creek pulls away and glances at the entrance way before turning back. He heads over to Colleen who then suddenly tackles him down. Colleen rolls through as the crowd looks on.

Sharper: “And Colleen had enough of Creek’s offense.”

Knots: “Took his eyes off the prize. Checked to see is Lawler would come out like last week!”

Colleen gets up and nails Creek with a hard right and then another before pulling her in and clubbing him in the back of the head over and over before then throwing him down to the mat. Creek gets to his hands and knees and Colleen just drives her elbow into the back. He rolls over and moves to the corner. Colleen heads over and shoulders him in the ribs once and then again before going to pull him out. She then runs into the ropes, bounces off and just hits a running crossbody into a pin.

Creek kicks out. Colleen rolls off and gets up. She grabs Creek and pulls him up, but Creek reaches up and throat thrusts her. Colleen staggers and Creek runs at her and hits a hard clothesline.

Sharper: “Creek with those high impact shots. Creek has shown his ability to just close distance as quick as anyone.”

Knots: “And he’ll attack anywhere. He has one goal. To win. And apparently however is necessary.”

Colleen crawls to the ropes. Creek walks over and elbows her in the back of the head before elbowing her again and then just leaning on her head and neck, forcing her to the mat. He glances up at the entrance way again just grinds his elbow into the back of the head and neck of Colleen.

Colleen rolls over as Creek gets up. He then heads over and stomps her in the face. She rolls over to the ropes. He stomps her again. Colleen moves to the corner and Creek comes over and grinds his knee against the face of Colleen in the turnbuckles.

Creek backs up and walks around the ring. He then turns to Colleen who suddenly runs out and clotheslines him down. Creek turns and stirs as Colleen turns around and then runs at Creek and spears him again.

Sharper: “And another spear. This one driving Creek to the mat!”

Knots: “Hey, if he can’t breathe, or it hurts, that’s all that buys you something. Can’t get the strength. Can’t threaten families. Can’t reveal secrets!”

Waylon Creek rolls over, holding his ribs in pain. He slowly gets up and turns to Colleen who clotheslines him down. Creek turns and Colleen grabs him and pulls him back and hits a reverse DDT. She moves him into position before stepping up to the middle turnbuckle. She grabs the top rope and bounces up and down before throwing her legs out and hitting a Vader Bomb. She hooks the leg.

Creek gets his shoulder up. Colleen rolls off. She then gets up and hits a leg drop. She rolls off as Creek turns and grabs at the ropes. Colleen sees this and runs across the ring, bouncing off and throws herself into him with a hip drop.

Sharper: “And trying to go after the back of Creek!”

Knots: “He’s been distracted and he may be getting a free chiropractic treatment!”

Colleen drags Creek out and pulls him up. She then goes to lift him up, but Creek pushes off and lands behind her and forearms her in the back and then bends her over, pumphandling her up and throwing her back violently into the top rope. Colleen falls back, turning, kicking at the mat. Creek sits up and then pulls himself up. He walks over and drags Colleen up. He then bends her over again, pumphandling her again and this time, driving her into them at with a pumphandle slam. He folds her up.

1!

2!

Colleen kicks out.

Sharper: “Colleen kicking out despite two violent pumphandle moves.”

Knots: “Too bad for Creek, Colleen’s head didn’t pop off. He seemed to be trying for that!”

Creek rolls off and looks at her. He then grabs Colleen and pulls her up before scooping her up. Colleen, however, manages to slide down his back. She then clubs him in the back over and over and over again. She then turns and forearms him in the jaw. Creek staggers and Colleen runs into the ropes. She bounces off and suddenly, Creek reaches up, locking in the Canary. Colleen clubs at the arm frantically and tries to limit access, but Creek pushes back and then forces her down. Colleen grabs at his head, but then starts to fade.

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds. Creek lets go and rolls over. He looks around as Colleen holds her throat.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and still SCW Television Champion, Waylon Creek!”

Sharper: “Colleen at the end with a second wind, but Creek got that hold on, the Canary, but Colleen tried to fight it.”

Knots: “Saw it coming and still no answer. He’s beaten everyone with that hold so far. And he’s still champion.”

Sharper: “And Chris Lawler awaits him now. And his match at Rise to Greatness weekend will be for the TV Title as a result.”

Creek exits the ring. He heads over to Legion and grabs him. He then realizes he’s forgotten his title. He turns back to the ring where the official hands it to him. Creek turns as Destiny Page walks to the ring. Creek looks down briefly before then turning back.

Page: “Waylon…can I ask a quick question-“

Creek goes to walk past.

Page: “The information on Lawler. He didn’t tell us anything. But what was in your envelope? And what did you find on him?”

Creek stops and turns back. He then looks at Page.

Creek: “None of your business…But him…he has a choice. He can apologize and I may show some mercy. Or I will destroy him and share what he wishes no one unearthed.”

Creek turns and heads off with Legion. Page watches him leave as the scene cuts away as Colleen starts to stir in the ring.

Inside the locker room of Team Desire, there’s a tense feeling. Silence accompanies the image of Katie Steward sitting down next to the SCW World Tag Team Championship. Gigi Steward stands across from her, as does TJ Johnson.

Katie: “I already hear it…the murmurs, the muttering, one and done….No…”

Katie shakes her head.

Katie: “Remember…I’m directing this movie. I directed its plot twist…We’re here.”

Katie holds up the SCW World Tag Team Championship.

Katie: “And that’s not changing. Nineteen years, I’ve waited for this moment and the movie is going to end when I, the director, yells cut. Gigi and I are back at the top, where we belong, and while Twisted & Sadistic and Light in the Darkness want to send us back down so they can finish their fight, we’re going to keep playing spoiler. It’s a different movie. One that started a year ago and one that we’ll finish. They…they had the subplot. But Team Desire, we’re going to rise…we’ll rebound and we’ll show why we’re the main attraction. Plus…we look good in gold!”

Katie turns to Gigi.

Katie: “And we’re going to make sure no one doubts we…and you deserve more!”

Gigi nods as she throws her World Tag Team Championship belt over her shoulder and the scene fades out.

Ravyn Taylor vs. Josh Hudson

Underground Rules

The camera cuts to the crowd where we see a group of red-shirted security walking in through one of the ground-level entrances. They line up in front of the fans for a moment and seem to be holding them back. Then the lights go out leaving the arena in complete darkness. The screen fills with images of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural address.

“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is—”

There’s a record scratch before a deep voice fills the arena.

“INFAMOUS!”

The opening of “Open Your Eyes” by Guano Apes hits the PA system.

“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”

The song gets stuck on the word and is then interrupted by the deep sound of the voice of Marilyn Manson.

“Just lay your head in daddy’s lap
You’re a bad girl!”

“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as we cut to the backstage. We see Ravyn Taylor walking the corridors, accompanied by Lexy Chapel and Syren. We can hear the reaction from the live crowd as we follow the trio walking backstage. We then cut to the shot of the doorway again where we see Ravyn Taylor walk through. She pauses, a smirk on her face for a moment, before beginning to walk to the ring.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

We follow the group as they make their way down toward ringside, with security keeping fans back in the aisles. Ravyn doesn’t seem at all distracted by the noise and movement of people around her however, keeping her eyes focused on the ring. She gets to the barricade she grabs hold of a chair that’s unused by a standing fan and pushes it up to the railing before stepping on the chair and then on the barricade to jump down on the other side.

Phillips: “The following contest is your main event of the evening, scheduled for onefall for TV Time remaining and it will be contested under Underground Rules! Introducing first, representing ‘Lexy Chapel Presents Dark Fantasy’, accompanied by Lexy Chapel and Syren, hailing from Hell, Michigan, she is a Bad, Bad Girl, Ravyn Taylor!”

The crowd cheers Ravyn as she steps up the ring steps, pausing for a moment before encouraging Jason Phillips to walk over toward her. She points to the ropes, telling him to sit on the middle rope to lower it for her. He hesitates before doing exactly that, and she responds by vaulting over the top rope and just smirking at him. She then casually removes her jacket, tossing it into the corner before climbing the turnbuckles on the left camera side and looking out toward the camera.

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor coming out with Syren and with Lexy. Surprised by both.”

Knots: “Not if this is to make a statement. Then again, Josh Hudson said do your worst and Lexy is telling Ravyn to do the same. If Selena doesn’t lose the title at Rise to Greatness, can’t potentially tie it with the rematch!”

Sharper: “And you can tell, Syren’s not sold on this. She wants to just get through. Lexy has made defending the record the most important thing.”

"Duality” blares through the PA system.

"I push my fingers into my eyes..."

The cameras show the crowd who begin cheering before zooming in at the entrance way, where Josh Hudson steps out.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from New York City, New York, he is Josh Hudson!”

"It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
But it's made of all the things I have to take
Jesus, it never ends, it works it's way inside
If the pain goes on...I'm not gonna make it!"

He wears a sleeveless black hoodie as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. He reaches the bottom of the ramp, and he looks out to the crowd before making his way up the ring steps and climbs into the ring.

"I have screamed until my veins collapsed
I've waited as my time's elapsed
Now, all I do is live with so much hate
I've wished for this, I've bitched at that
I've left behind this little fact
You cannot kill what you did not create
I've gotta say what I've gotta say
And then, I swear, I'll go away
But I can't promise you'll enjoy the noise
I guess I'll save the best for last
My future seems like one big past
You're left with me 'cause you left me no choice..."

He goes to the bottom right-hand corner, climbing to the top rope.

"I push my fingers into my eyes
It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
If the pain goes on
I'm not gonna make it!!!"

Hudson is shown staring out at the crowd once again, as he lifts both fists into the air, earning more cheers before he climbs down and leans into the turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin. Lexy points at Ravyn to attack.

Sharper: “Lexy trying to get Ravyn to jump Hudson. Meanwhile, we should note, Ravyn will be in action Rise to Greatness weekend. While wanting Ravyn to help Syren here, she also wants Lexy to be the lone voice for Syren. Ravyn’s in a battle royal.”

Knots: “Lexy Chapel moving and shaking for Rise to Greatness. Ravyn was content to be in Syren’s corner to help her out and allow her to hopefully focus on whatever awaits her post Rise to Greatness.”

The bell sounds. Ravyn looks at Josh. Josh tells her to come in. Ravyn just smirks and steps through the ropes and to the floor. Lexy turns to her. Syren looks on as Hudson watches her and Ravyn then turns and lifts the ring skirt. She looks under and pulls out a chair. She then rolls in, the crowd looking on. Hudson looks at Ravyn as Ravyn then unfolds the chair and puts it down, taking a seat on it. Hudson leans back, arms crossed as Ravyn leans back in the chair doing the same.

Chapel: “Ravyn! Don’t you care about Syren! Her LEGACY?”

Syren looks on as Hudson then steps out, looking at Ravyn. Ravyn continues to lean back. The crowd buzzes as Hudson then looks around before heading over to Ravyn and grabs her, but Ravyn spins through and into a school boy.

Hudson kicks out. Ravyn falls back to the chair. Hudson then turns and goes to grab at her, but Ravyn turns and throws the chair into his chest. Hudson gets caught in the arm and staggers back. Ravyn then lifts the chair up and swings it at Hudson, catching him in the shoulder. He winces before Ravyn puts the chair down and runs over and forearms him in the jaw.

Sharper: “Hudson and Ravyn a bit of cat and mouse. Ravyn throwing a few curveballs there.”

Knots: “Made Hudson have to act and got a few shots in.”

She forearms him again and places him on the top rope and rakes his face along the top rope. Hudson turns around and Ravyn turns and runs at him and forearms him again. He falls into the corner and Ravyn steps up and kicks him in the ribs before choking him with her boot.

Demitra counts, but Ravyn just looks at him, mocking him. She keeps the choke on, before Hudson grabs her foot and pushes her back. She staggers and stops herself from falling over and turns to strike Hudson, but Hudson blocks it and knees her in the ribs. He turns and hits a fireman’s carry. Ravyn rolls over and gets up and Hudson just muscles her down, hooking her up and hitting a single arm suplex.

Sharper: “And Hudson using the strength there he has to just muscle Ravyn over.”

Knots: “And that’s one way to turn it around.”

Ravyn gets up and Hudson nails her with a hard right and whips her into the corner. Hudson runs after and Ravyn gets an elbow up. Hudson staggers and Ravyn steps up and rakes his eyes. She then drops to the floor and looks under the ring again. She grabs a trash can with a road sign and kendo stick in it and throws it into the ring. She rolls in after and Hudson then kicks her in the ribs before hitting a snap suplex. He floats over for the pin.

She turns and starts to get up and Hudson grabs her and elbows her in the back of the head before elbowing her again and then grabbing her and hitting a side belly to belly suplex into the trash can, causing it to compact. The crowd ohs. Ravyn winces and Hudson goes for the pin.

Ravyn kicks out again. She rolls over and moves to the apron. Hudson then gets up and grabs her, but Ravyn then pulls out and grabs his head and hits a guillotine drop. Hudson staggers back. Ravyn pulls herself into the ring. She then sees Hudson and lunges at Ravyn who hits a drop toe hold into the seat of the opened chair.

Sharper: “Ravyn thinking on her feet. That’s her strength and Hudson, face first, into the steel chair.”

Knots: “Just driving him in. Using his own momentum against him.”

Hudson rolls over, wincing in pain and Ravyn then grabs the kendo stick and pulls it out. She walks over to Hudson and wraps it around his throat and hits a kendo-stick-assisted Russian leg sweep. She floats over for the pin.

Hudson kicks out. She rolls over and grabs the kendo stick and then nails him in the chest. Hudson rolls over and Ravyn nails him again in the shoulder and then hard in the head before nailing him in the shoulder again. She hits him again before the crowd erupts as Lexy Chapel is thrown down and Syren turns as Polly Pingotti nails her with a hard right.

Sharper: “Ravyn teeing off on Hudson! And Polly! Polly Pingotti in front of us!”

Knots: “The hell did she come from?”

Sharper: “Took down Lexy! Came from the crowd. And after helping Syren earlier, now standing against her. She said she’d take respect and she’s going to make sure Syren is focused on her at Rise to Greatness!”

Knots: “Ravyn now focused on her too!”

Ravyn notices this and heads over to the ropes. Polly nails Syren again and again before knocking her into the barricade. Polly turns and snaps at Lexy before Ravyn swings the kendo stick toward her. Polly dodges and turns to her before turning at running at Syren who grabs her and sends her over the barricade. The crowd roars. Syren, herself now annoyed, steps over the barricade. Polly gets up and Syren forearms her with a shot. Polly staggers off. Syren nails her again. Polly fires back. The two trade blows as the crowd cheers. Back in the ring, Ravyn turns and exits to the floor, seeing Hudson getting up. Ravyn looks at Syren before turning and ignoring Lexy who is trying to get up. Ravyn grabs a fire extinguisher from under the ring and goes to lift it up and spray it into the ring. Instead, Hudson is not visible to her. She then turns and rolls under the ring. Hudson walks around the ring, hiding himself by the apron before looking up and seeing that Ravyn is gone. He walks around the ring and then goes to the other side before turning back. He goes to look under, before stopping and pulling back. Ravyn expels the extinguisher, but misses Hudson. She sprays again and Hudson grabs the noose and her hand and pulls her out. The crowd roars before Hudson pulls her to her feet and then pulls her into an overhead belly to belly suplex on the floor. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And the cat and mouse game on the floor – Hudson gets the last laugh by dodging Ravyn’s plan and then pulling her out and taking her down.”

Knots: “Just a huge suplex on the floor!”

Sharper: “While Polly and Syren keep fighting through the crowd!”

We cut to the crowd to see Syren getting a couple of shots in on Polly and Polly nails her with a shot as they fight into one of the breezeways. Back at ringside, Hudson grabs Ravyn and rolls her into the ring. He grabs the fire extinguisher and rolls it in before rolling in after Ravyn. He walks over to the steel chair and folds it up. Ravyn stirs and starts to get up and Hudson takes the chair and places it against the back of Ravyn before pulling her in and hitting a side belly to belly suplex, driving Ravyn into the chair and the mat. The crowd ohs. Hudson then pins her on top of the chair!

Ravyn gets her shoulder up. Lexy looks on as Hudson gets up. He drags her up and turns and moves the trash can into position and then the chair before grabbing the road sign. He turns and nails Ravyn in the back with it. She goes down. He throws it down before grabbing Ravyn and hoisting her up and placing her on the top turnbuckle. The crowd roars as Hudson then nails her with a shot to the ribs.

Sharper: “Hudson said he would step up and embrace what is front of him. A champion steps up and right now, he’s set up a lot to perhaps end this with Ravyn Taylor on the top rope!”

Knots: “No matter what, if he sends her off, bad landing for her.”

Hudson then climbs up to a middle turnbuckle and grabs Ravyn. He goes to lift her up onto his shoulders, but Ravyn thumbs his eyes. She then nails him with a hard right and then another before jumping off and grabbing Hudson’s head and hitting a top rope neckbreaker causing Hudson to go into the chair, sign and trash can. The crowd ohs. Hudson grimaces in pain. Ravyn goes for the pin.

Hudson gets his shoulder up. Ravyn rolls off. She looks around as Hudson winces and rolls out of the plunder. Ravyn turns and then grabs the steel chair. Hudson slowly rolls over. He clearly is in pain. Ravyn then slams the chair into Hudson’s back. Hudson falls to the mat. He lifts himself up and Ravyn slams it onto his back again. She then grabs him and slowly lifts him up. She unfolds the chair and places the seat against Hudson’s face and pulls him up.

Sharper: “Wait a minute! Ravyn, after two shots…”

Knots: “Hudson may have overplayed!”

Sharper: “And Ravyn has something in mind.”

Ravyn grabs the road sign. She turns and looks at Hudson and then turns and swings at the chair, going to drive it back into Hudson’s face. Hudson drops down through and then slides the chair off. Ravyn misses and turns around and Hudson then lifts her up and back drops her. She rolls over and gets up and Hudson grabs the fire extinguisher. Ravyn turns and Hudson expels the contents into the face of Ravyn Taylor. He sprays it over and over, filling up the ring in the contents. The crowd roars as Ravyn tries to clear her face, dropping the sign. Hudson then turns and nails her in the face with the extinguisher. She goes down and Hudson then looks at her before turning and nailing her with the Armistice. The crowd roars as some boos come from the crowd too. Hudson rolls off and gets up only for Selena Frost to slide in and step up through the CO2 mist and drill Hudson with the Glass Shard. Hudson falls back to Ravyn Taylor, ending up on top of her. Demitra looks at Selena before turning and counting Hudson. Selena stands, looking down at Hudson.

Selena: “This is what you wanted? I can just do this at will?! Huh?! This is your vision?!”

The crowd gives a mixed reaction as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Josh Hudson!”

Selena continues to stand over him.

Selena: “What did you prove, Josh?! You earned this?”

Sharper: “Josh Hudson taken out by Selena Frost! Glass Shard and he still got the win.”

Knots: “Yeah, landed on Ravyn. He drilled her with the Armistice, but Selena Frost standing over him. Not looking like the winner, huh?”

Sharper: “Selena Frost standing over Josh, berating him. The interference by Polly on Syren, by her on Josh. This is what she claims she’s against. But if she did what she did in a normal match, that’s a disqualification.”

Knots: “But the important thing is Selena is standing over her challenger. That going to happen at Rise to Greatness?”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but Josh Hudson will throw everything at Selena. We know she’ll do the same. And one of them will walk out World Champion!”

Selena steps back and stands over Hudson, placing her foot on his chest as the crowd boos some more. She turns to Lexy and taunts her too for good measure, holding up six fingers before then turning to the crowd. The crowd boos some more as the scene fades to black…
