“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

Trying to get back to who I used to be

Where is the old me?

Autumn Valentine hitting the Blindspot on a foe follows before we see a shot of Owen Lee and Daisy Lee on their way to the ring, and then a shot of Kimberly Williams licking a staple gun. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “It is the final stop before Rise to Greatness XIX. We roll into Phoenix-“

Knots: “You sure this week?”

Sharper: “Yeah, yeah! We are in Phoenix, in the desert, before we march to Rise to Greatness in Vegas in a week and a half!”

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd. After a few moments, the cameras cut to the announce position where Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman sit.

Sharper: “Hello again everyone. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman and-“

We then see Holly Adams walking out from the back. She stops at the stage as the crowd boos loudly. She glances back and motions to the back as we see the Housewives camera crew start to file out. Holly turns and makes sure they get a good shot of her before she starts to storm to the ring.

Sharper: “And looks like we’re not waiting at all. Holly Adams out here and with her Housewives crew.”

Lyman: “She looks angry.”

Knots: “Of course she’d be angry. She was screwed last week. Cid Turner threatened her-“

Sharper: “Cid didn’t come out Jon. Only his music played.”

Holly Adams continues to head to the ring. Holly walks around it as the Housewives crew walks to the ring, one set pairs off and follows Holly while the others stay in the entrance way. Holly walks over to the announce position and then goes over to Jonathan.

Holly: “Jon! You! What the hell was that last week?”

Knots: “I know! Cid Turner is totally not even material for the PIP!”

Holly: “He came out with a weapon and then he was going to attack. Did security stop him?”

Knots: “I don’t know. Maybe he had second thoughts.”

Sharper: “You two are now even talking like you’re associates!”

Holly turns to Sharper and puts her hand up.

Holly: “Excuse me. Do you not have manners? We’re having a conversation!”

Lyman: “The world can hear you.”

Holly: “Of course. Reality TV!”

Holly rolls her eyes and shakes her head in disbelief before turning back to Jonathan Knots.

Holly: “Do you know anything? What happened?”

Knots: “I’m just in the dark as you. Sharper’s the one who gets notes. I ignore them and just speak the truth!”

Holly stops and turns to Sharper. She storms over.

Holly: “Okay! Now I’m talking to you.”

Sharper: “What the hell do you want from me?”

Holly: “You seem to be the man in the know. So Cidnay Turner. Did he regress so badly in two weeks that he can’t even figure out how to get to the ring without help?”

Sharper: “Holly…Cid’s music just played. Cid didn’t come out.”

Holly: “So he is a coward! Oh Cidnay….”

Holly turns to Phillips and demands a microphone. He obliges as Holly takes it and storms up the steel steps and onto the apron.

Holly: “Oh Cidnay!”

Holly enters the ring. She steps forward.

Holly: “Last week, you betrayed your true self. I had hoped that the option of a PIP would be enticing to allow you to not undo ALL of the work GiGi and I have done and go full Ash-hole. But here we are. And it’s clear that even though you merely DELAYED the inevitable – my true eventual World Championship match with Adam Allocco….you had this big plan. You were going to Asher Hayes me. You were going to come out and attack me from behind like the coward you are. But I forgot something, Cidnay.”

Holly shakes her head, looking down.

Holly: “Cidnay…you NEEDED me. It’s so obvious. After everything other than Gleebnorb – why did you become World Champion – ME! Why did you have so much confidence last year…ME! How did you meet the love of your life – ME!”

Holly sighs.

Holly: “And you threw it all away. Making horrible claims – lies and slander! COMPLETE lies and slander. That I care about the Holly Adams Brand, trademarked, more than my clients. Look at Samuel and Joseph. They’re JOINT TV Champions. Both successes. All thanks to me and GiGi! Datura…she could be Adrenaline Champion. That wasn’t you even though you could’ve given her a match. It was Gigi and I!”

Holly shakes her head.

Holly: “I mean I’ve done more for my clients than Lexy Chapel’s mind thinks she’s done for her. And Cidnay…you’ve just run. Playing your music, knowing that I was concerned so much for you. My heart ACHES for the path you are going down, turning away from me. How magnanimous of me…Magnanimous. Look it up Phoenix!”

The crowd boos.

Holly: “But I was just that magnanimous in offering you Cidnay an option to better yourself…to be your best self. To not throw it all away with the PIP! And…you just showed all of the cowardice in the world. Your music and you can’t even go through with the Asher Hazing.”

Holly shakes her head.

Holly: “Just sad, Cidnay. Sad! But now…I don’t know if you can be saved. You’ve regressed so far and with so many new clients, clients who will stay the path…I don’t think I can offer you help. The Positive State is in shambles thanks to you. So at Rise to Greatness, Cidnay…I’ll have to just end it for good.”

Holly sighs.

Holly: “But not before teaching you one more lesson tonight…”

Suddenly, on the big screen, we see Cid Turner standing in front of the SCW interview area, shaking his head. Holly turns and sees this.

Holly: “Now you’ll show your face! After all the terrible things you’ve said to me!”

Cid: “Holly…I really wish you could hear yourself. How you have to sell yourself on everything you’ve just said. This…this has all gone far enough. Pumping yourself up while trying to help others. Why not just let them enjoy it and smile and be proud? I wanted to do that. With Cookie…that wasn’t going to happen under the Brand. With Datura…she’s now even more confused. And it’s my fault.”

Cid sighs.

Cid: “You don’t need to say anything about ending it Holly. It’s going to end for me at Rise to Greatness. But maybe I just need to help someone….you!”

The crowd roars.

Holly: “Cidnay. Oh boy…I don’t need help. Look at me. I’m a success. And some of your help…well…it’s held me back and-“

Cid: “And you’ve become a terrible person!”

Cid sighs.

Cid: “Whatever. Teach me your lesson. At Rise to Greatness, I’ll try to do something I needed to do more with others…actually help. But just like you’ll give me a lesson tonight, I’ll give you a preview. Believe me or not…But I wasn’t even in the building when my music hit. So figure that out…”

Cid turns and shakes his head and walks off. Holly looks around, at first confused, before then regaining her confidence.

Holly: “Nice try Cid! You just don’t want to admit you couldn’t go through with it. You’ve reverted back to who you were two years ago! That’s fine! Yeah…fine!”

Holly backs up and turns and throws the microphone down. It lands with a thud.

Sharper “Holly Adams has her narrative. But did you hear Cid?”

Knots: “Just an open liar! Trying to deflect from his inadequacies!”

Lyman: “I mean there’s an easy way to check!”

Sharper: “Do you think Holly cares? But even if, if Cid didn’t do it, who played the music?!”

Holly Adams turns, stepping through the ropes on the side of the announce tables, and then starting to walk down the steps. She walks around the ring and gives her pageant wave as we cut to the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome back to ringside. Hopefully we don’t get interrupted.”

Knots: “Please. Holly was better than you!”

Sharper: “So you say. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman. We are here, the final Breakdown before Rise to Greatness XIX and folks, it’s a big night. We will cap off tonight with Selena Frost and Adam Allocco face to face one more time before they meet in Vegas.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen before a still for Owen Lee vs. Cid Turner comes up.

Lyman: “Cid Turner will be in action tonight-“

Knots: “If he shows!”

Lyman: “I’m sure he will. He’ll face Owen Lee one on one. And trust me, Josh Hudson will be watching that closely too.”

Knots: “Plus Holly has a lesson for Cid!”

The Breakdown logo comes up again and we see a still for Christy Matthews vs. Alexis Quinne.

Sharper: “And just before both go into their high stakes matchups at Rise to Greatness, two former friends clash tonight – Alexis Quinne faces Christy Matthews! That and so much more, tonight!”

The cameras pan across the crowd as the Breakdown theme continues to play in the background and the scene cuts to commercials.

COMMERCIALS

Holly Adams walks backstage, the Housewives crew following her. She corrects her hair as she tries to compose herself before she stops and looks over to see Adam Allocco smiling at her.

Holly: “Keep moving-“

Adam: “Oh Holly. You’ll want to hear this.”

Holly: “There’s nothing to hear-“

Adam: “How about how I’m to blame for the music?”

Holly stops and turns, the Housewives crew turning in unison.

Holly: “What?”

Adam: “I had them play the music. Had a friend in production. I’ll do anything to win…”

Holly: “Yeah…covering for Cidnay? That’s a new low. Nice…”

Holly turns and heads off.

Adam: “You don’t want to believe me? That’s on you!”

Adam calls out as the Housewives crew follows Holly and we cut back to the ring.

Sharper: “Hear that?”

Knots: “Adam’s now just messing with her. He doesn’t need to do that!”

Lyman: “Makes sense though…Plus sending a little message to Selena too!”

Polly Playtime vs. Katie Steward vs. The One vs. Konrad Raab

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on SCW’s Jumbotron.  A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play.

The music plays for quite some time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Polly emerges from the backstage area wearing a frilly pink skirt and a very cute and fashionable strapless crop top that has black paw prints on it. She is carrying a personally made microphone, clearly wanting to make the world wait to see her. Colleen and Aisling walk out from behind wearing matching pantsuits. Polly heads to the ring as the crowd boos her. She reaches the ringside area. She walks up the steel steps and into the ring. Aisling and Collen walk around the ring. Polly hands over her personalized microphone to Jason Phillips and tells him to announce her using ONLY that microphone.  He looks at her and just shrugs before taking it.

Phillips: “The opening contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, accompanied by her Playgirls, here she is ladies and gentlemen.  From Panguitch, Utah, she is the girl that just LOVES to play… Polly Playtiiiiime!”

Nicole just glares at both. Polly immediately snatches her microphone back away from him and nods, telling him “Good job,” before she heads to her assigned corner. It’s here that she begins to warm up for the upcoming matchup. Colleen and Aisling stand in her corner. Polly then turns around and informs them of what she wants them to do.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime going to be challenging for the number one contendership to the SCW World Tag Team Championship at Rise to Greatness weekend. She’s already caused some tension. Replacing one of her Playgirls with herself.”

Knots: “It’s a big opportunity. Probably looking to make the best of it! Colleen’s new! That’s all!”

Oh, she's sweet but a psycho
A little bit psycho
At night she's screamin'
"I'm-ma-ma-ma out my mind"

The arena lights dim down and pink light shine on the stage. “Sweet but Psycho:” by Ava Max plays as The Queen of Queens and Goddess of Desire Katie Steward steps out on the stage. She walks her beautiful white and gold religious ring robe that is popelike and spins around in a circle showing it off the crowd.

Phillips: “Next, from Los Angeles, California, accompanied by TJ Johnson, she is the Queen of Queens, the Goddess of Desire, Katie Steward!”

TJ Johnson walks out onto the stage with Katie and the two nod to on another before Katie continues her walk to the ring with her arms out and his hands at shoulder length. Katie walks around the ring and up the ring steps carefully and across the apron. TJ runs up after her and holds open the ropes for her to enter the ring. Katie walks to the center of the ring and she disrobes for the crowd. She shows off her wrestling attire. TJ takes her robe and exits the ring and Katie to her corner.

Sharper: “Katie Steward is hoping Rise to Greatness kicks off her attempt to win the one title she has not held in SCW, the World Tag Team Championship. Gigi Steward will be back in the ring, in her corner.”

Lyman: “A big part of tag wrestling is trusting your opponent. So Katie and Gigi have it. But at the same time, they need to be one. Anderson and Tsunami will be a very unique team and Polly Playtime, we know she’s driven.”

The arena goes dark, and slowly smoke begins to rise from the entry way.  "Battle Cry" by Little V begins to play over the PA system...

I hear the Battle Cry

Under the Devil's Sky
The One Winged Angel Screams
It fuels my Hopes and Dreams
The Best Bout Machine

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?

With the stinger of the song hitting, an explosion and pyrotechnics hit, cuing the spotlights to hit, and standing in the entry way is The One with her back turned to the audience, head down, and her right hand up in the air with the number one in the air.  She turns at the waist, looking directly at the ring, and slowly lowers her hand, finger still extended, to point to her destination.  She fully turns and begins her walk to the ring, quickly, but methodically, occasionally slowly down to look around, not necessarily trusting anyone around her to not come rush her and attack her.

Phillips: “Next, from Parts Unknown, she is The One!”

As she reaches the ring, she again looks over both shoulders, taking glimpses of the fans, and assuring her safety before entering.  She makes a full lap of the ring, walking, and staring at everyone at ringside, and occasionally looking toward the upper decks.  As she feels the situation is comfortable and safe, she walks to the corner facing the ramp, extending both hands and pointing with one finger toward the entryway, and then turning both palms up and making the motion with both hands to "bring it."  She then slumps into the corner, sitting on the mat, and awaiting her final opponent to enter the ring.

Sharper: “The mysterious One part of this. She has a date with Beard at Rise to Greatness and we still don’t fully understand why she has targeted him.”

Knots: “No one does. But she is. And Beard has to deal with it.”

Lyman: “There’s almost something more eery. When you don’t known the reason, you start second guessing and it could be some elaborate mind game. I don’t know.”

Violence Fetish by Disturbed plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, wearing red and black face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of ice blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands before he crouches down on the floor, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “Finally, from Cologne, Germany, he is The Ice Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos before Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes As he's in the ring, Konrad without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head.

Sharper: “And Konrad Raab – and he’s got to be licking his lips. He can cause chaos here. And at Rise to Greatness, he has three other potential targets.”

Lyman: “None bigger than Christy Matthews. That’s become a new level of personal.”

Sharper: “Saying he’s taken out Lucas. That Christy should return to her child and if she doesn’t, he’ll destroy her, sending her back injured. It’s sick.”

Michael Constantine looks around and calls for the bell. Polly immediately runs at Katie and forearms her in the jaw. Katie falls back into the corner. Polly follows up with repeated forearm shots as The One steps up to Raab. Raab smirks and steps up and goes for a hard right. The One ducks under and spins around. Raab turns around and The One grabs him by the head and forces him over to the ropes. She tries to force him into them as Polly forearms Katie a few more times. Raab elbows The One in the ribs once and then again. The One staggers back and Raab steps up and hits a European uppercut. The One hits the mat. Raab then spins around as Polly whips Katie out of the corner. Raab catches her and back drops her down. Raab then steps up and goes for a shot at Polly. Polly ducks and spins around. Raab turns around and Polly kicks him in the ribs once and then again before jumping up and dropkicking him up and over the top rope.

Sharper: “And Polly fighting off Raab here as Raab doing some damage, but now to the floor!”

Lyman: “Watch the Playgirls. Polly’s the only one here with backup!”

Polly turns and get sup as The One gets up and nails her in the ribs with a hard right. She then hits a sweep kick to the back of Polly’s legs. Polly hits the mat. The One goes for the pin.

Polly kicks out. The One gets up to her knees and Katie hits a dropkick, knocking her back. Katie turns as Polly gets up and chops her. The crowd woos. She chops her again. We cut to Raab where we see Aisling and Colleen pushing Konrad back, hard, back first into the barricade. They walk around the ring as the crowd boos some. Katie whips Polly across the ring. She hits the opposite corner. Katie runs after. Polly gets a boot up, but Katie catches it, forces it down and kicks her in the ribs. Katie then pulls her out and hits a vertical suplex.

Sharper: “The Playgirls attacking Raab. You were right Simon.”

Lyman: “But as that’s going on, things not looking good for Polly. Katie Steward, who looks revitalized since returning, taking it to her.”

Knots: “Yeah, but the One is behind her!”

Katie gets up and The One kicks her in the ribs, gutwrenches her and powers her over with a suplex. She follows up with the lateral press.

2!

Katie kicks out. The One turns and gets up. Polly stirs as The One walks over and grabs her and forearms her in the jaw. She then wrenches the arm and hits a kick to the ribs. She pulls her in and scoops her up onto her shoulder. She hits a powerslam. The One rolls off. She gets up and grabs Katie and pushes her into the corner. The One kicks her in the ribs and forearms her in the jaw. She hoists her up and places her on the top turnbuckle. The One then wrenches the arm and snaps her off the top rope and down to the mat. Katie rolls over in pain. Polly and Katie both get up and The One watches them. She runs at them and goes for a double clothesline. Polly and Katie both duck. The One stops and turns and they hit a double superkick, knocking The One down. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Katie and Polly working together there. There’s an unholy alliance. Double superkick.”

Knots: “But right back to each other!”

Katie turns and nails Polly with a forearm. Polly follows back with one of her own. They trade blows as the crowd looks on as Konrad gets back up to the apron and grabs the top rope. He then springboards to the top rope and dives forward, hitting a double clothesline to Katie and Polly. The crowd ohs. Katie rolls to the ropes. Polly rolls over.

Sharper: “And Konrad back in, in a big way. Double flying clothesline!”

Konrad gets up and turns to Polly, as Aisling and Colleen pull Katie out from the ring. The crowd roars. TJ turns and walks over, yelling at them, but Aisling and Colleen then grab Katie and throw her over the announce table and into Knots. The crowd ohs.

Lyman: “Knots is down!”

Sharper: “Jesus! Just womanhandling Katie Steward and throwing them into Knots.”

Lyman: “Was that intentional? I don’t know.”

Knots falls over as Katie falls to the floor. Aisling and Colleen smirk as Konrad grabs Polly and whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Raab ducks under and grabs her before steps forward and hits the Frozen Pin.

The One breaks it up. Polly rolls over. Raab stirs and gets up. The One does too. They get up and look at one another and The One steps up and rakes the eyes of Raab. Raab falls back to the ropes. The One kicks him in the ribs before hitting a back chop to the throat and then grabbing him and going to whip him across, but Raab spins through and sends The One in. The One bounces off and Raab drills her with a European uppercut. The One rolls over, wincing and Raab grabs her and lifts her up and places her on the top rope. Raab then nails her with a hard forearm and then another before turning around and running at the ropes and hitting a baseball slide into Colleen, knocking her back into Aisling. Both go down as the crowd roars. TJ taunts them before turning back to helping Katie up.

Sharper: “Konrad taking a shot at Colleen. There’s that bloodlust. That constant desire for revenge.”

Lyman: “But you’ve got The One up there. Konrad, what are you doing!”

Sharper: “You okay there Jon?”

Knots starts to get up as The One stirs and Konrad runs back over and nails her with another forearm shot. Konrad then climbs up to the middle rope. He grabs The One by the throat and looks at it. Polly stirs as The One then looks down and headbutts Konrad before jumping up and pushing off, taking Konrad down with a Lou Thesz Press off the middle rope. The One rolls through. She turns and Polly drills her with the Chick Kick. The One staggers and hits the ropes and falls forward. Polly grabs her, but Katie climbs up to the top rope and turns back before hitting a praying moonsault off the top onto both. Katie rolls over, holding her ribs. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Katie Steward off the top rope! Again, Polly had an opening and the rules of this match hurting her!”

Lyman: “Katie now with the advantage.”

Knots: “Good! Good!”

Knots gets up, holding her jaw, annoyed.

Katie turns and goes for the pin on Polly.

The crowd roars. The bell sounds. The One rolls over. Katie turns and looks up and snaps at the official. She turns around and walks into The One who grabs her and slams her before locking in the One Hit Wonder! The crowd roars. The One turns herself to look at the entrance way.

Sharper: “The One wins, but she’s not done. And we’ve seen this before!”

Lyman: “Katie in trouble! TJ Johnson losing his mind!”

Knots: “Get her out! Come on ref! She’s going to be hurt-“

Beard bolts from the back and The One smiles before letting go and stepping forward to the ropes. Beard stops at the ring. He looks up.

Sharper: “The One has been almost training Beard to meet her on her terms!”

Lyman: “He’s here! He’s here and ready!”

The One nods and steps through the ropes. Beard steps back briefly as The One steps up to him. Beard steps up too. The One smiles and nods before going to shove him back, but Beard instead blocks it and shoves her down. The crowd roars. The One looks up at him, a look more of surprise and pleasure. Beard looks at her before backing up. The crowd roars as we cut away.

Backstage, we see Autumn Valentine backstage, sitting on a storage crate, holding the SCW Adrenaline Championship on her lap.

Autumn: “I asked for some time tonight. You may notice Lexy’s not here. Don’t worry – there’s no trouble in paradise. She’s with the Farmstead Friends training for what awaits them. I wanted her with them. To make sure it….went okay.”

Autumn pauses.

Autumn: “A lot has been happening. GiGi is claiming to have some information Lexy doesn’t want to get out. Something on her phone. Datura has swapped from Cid to GiGi and still is listening to him, but I can’t wait to get my hands on her. And Alexis…we’ve not exactly become friends as of late.”

Autumn stops again.

Autumn: “Lexy has been saying there’s a conspiracy for a long time and there may be, but I’ve been fighting against a bigger one for a lot longer. I competed as a Dancing Bear at Rise to Greatness. I was the forgotten one of Infamous. And thanks to Lexy…I’m here. And I’m holding this. And THIS is, no matter the other noise, what Rise to Greatness is about. Not what GiGi is holding over Lexy. We’ll overcome it. Not whether Datura will help GiGi or she’ll finally reach what everyone says she should be – championship status…I know that too well. But nope. Not that. Alexis Quinne helping her friend, maybe holding gold. Sorry. This was the title I’ve wanted to hold for a while. People ask me why? Because. That’s why. Because. Because I put value in it. And I had a hell of a match with Cid Turner. And even that moment of celebration was whisked away thanks to Sarah Wolf.”

Autumn looks down for a moment, recomposing herself.

Autumn: “It may be a conspiracy as Lexy would say, but I want my celebration. Why? Again…BECAUSE. Because I’ve DESERVED it. And it’s going to come at Rise to Greatness. And nothing is going to rip that from me. I control my destiny and I will make sure Autumn Valentine won’t ever be forgotten and LexyCorp is going nowhere!”

Autumn then looks at the SCW Adrenaline Championship.

Autumn: “And damn it…I’m not done holding this.”

Autumn looks at the camera as the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Kimberly Williams vs. Little D

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play. A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. The SCW Underground Championship is around her waist.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Woman Scorned, the Wild Card, the SCW Underground Champion, Kimberly Williams!”

A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight.  She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it.  She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope.  Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans.  The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match. She takes off her title, placing it in the corner before threatening Jason Phillips with horrible things should something happen to it.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams seems to be less and less focused on devastating and more just entertaining herself. Last week, she held a karaoke concert. A few weeks ago, she entertained herself by placing herself in Sarah Wolf’s issues with the Farmstead Friends.”

Knots: “And thanks to all of that, she’s in two matches Rise to Greatness weekend with two titles involved. Could be huge, or could be very, very bad!”

Lyman: “Deanna Frost on the Pre-Show; Tag Titles with Wolf against the Farmstead Friends at Rise to Greatness XIX.”

Sharper: “And you think she’s taking things seriously tonight?”

Rikishi's "Bad Man" starts to rumble through the arena as he gets his introduction. The crowd erupts in cheers.

Phillips: “Her opponent, now introducing, led to the ring by his manager Chainz, from the mean streets of Winnipeg and weighing 110 pounds, here is LITTLE D!”

Little D appears at the top of the ramp with Chainz by his side. Both are dressed as bikers with all leather ensembles. The walk to the ring, arguing with and even threatening fans along their way to the ring. Their jackets both say "1-8-7 Productions, Eh!" on the back. Once there, Little D slides under the bottom rope (It's natural for him.) while Chainz goes to his corner on the outside waiting for the first opportunity he has to get involved.

Sharper: “We haven’t seen Little D since Syren eliminated him at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Lyman: “Probably for the best.”

Knots: “Hey! He could screw everything up for Kim. This is a perfect trap match!”

Lyman: “Are you serious?!”

The bell sounds. Kim points at Little D as Little D just smiles and nods. He then leans back and beats on his chest before flexing. Kim’s eyes widen as she then spins around, looking at the crowd. She then points to Little D again and then starts to flex herself. Little D points at her and flexes again, showing off his muscularity. Kim looks around, knowing she cannot compete. She then steps up and runs over and locks up with Little D. She tries to fight before Little D pulls her in and shoves her back. Kim rolls back, landing on her stomach and knees before popping up and sliding back to the corner. She rolls to the floor, throwing her arms in the air. She storms around the ring and grabs Phillips, throwing him to the floor before grabbing his padded chair and throwing it into the ring. The crowd roars.

Knots: “She’s pissed! Little D has challenged her honour!”

Lyman: “Kimberly Williams just going over the top here!”

Sharper: “Throwing a chair into the ring. This isn’t Underground rules!”

Little D just nods as he cups his ear, trying to listen to the crowd who is more reacting to Kim. Kim then storms to the ring and pulls herself onto the apron. She looks around and goes to step in, but Little D turns and runs at her and hits a dropkick, knocking her to the floor. Kim rolls over, and just smirks. Little D just laughs as he walks around the ring, clearly pleased with himself. Kim just slowly gets up on the floor. (1)

Sharper: “Little D with the dropkick.”

Lyman: “I think Kim just woke up, guys.”

Kim gets to her feet, laughing and Little D walks over to ropes and sits on it, taunting Kim.(2) Kim walks over and nods before climbing up slowly onto the apron. She nods at Little D as Little D motions for her to enter the ring. Kim slowly enters the ring. She does and Little D then steps off the ropes and jumps up and goes to rake her eyes, but Kim blocks him, just grabbing his arms. He looks up, no longer smiling. Kim however is. Kim then kicks him in the shin. Little D hobbles and Kim lets go and boots him in the side of the head. Little D falls to the mat. The crowd ohs. Kim then steps up and just kicks him violently in the side of the arm, and then the head and then the stomach before turning back to the head. She hits a series of violent soccer-type kicks to Little D as he tries to cover up. The impact echoes throughout the arena.

Sharper: “My God! Each kick. You can hear the impact!”

Knots: “Jesus! Little D may be turning into a football before our very eyes!”

Kim hits a few more kicks to the body of Little D. The crowd ohs as Kim stops and walks around the ring. Little D writhes in pain, rolling over, holding himself wherever he can. Kim then runs over and kicks at Chainz on the floor. Chainz jukes back. Kim then spins around and looks at Little D. Little D holds his hand up, trying to retreat.

Sharper: “Little D may have had enough. Kim Williams may have seen this as a joke, but clearly she’s not going to be upstaged!”

Lyman: “And Little D definitely has had enough! Very different from Kim!”

Kim then runs over and grabs his legs. Little D tries to frantically get free, unable to do so, as Kim pulls Little D back and steps through before turning him over into the Scorned. She sits down, smiling widely as Little D yells in pain. He bridges up, trying to move around as Kim remains in a seated position. The official checks on him as Little D then drops down and starts to frantically tap on the mat. The crowd roars as Kim Williams continues to keep the hold on. The bell sounds as the crowd roars again. Kim holds the title on for a few moments longer before the official tells her to let go. Kim does and Little D’s legs fall to the mat. Kim steps up and leans on the ropes, smiling.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via submission, Kimberly Williams!”

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams ending Little D’s unpinned/unsubmitted streak. But also emphatically!”

Lyman: “And she’s getting her title back.”

Kim points to Phillips who walks over and hands her the Underground Championship. Kim smiles, reaching through, patting Phillips on the top of the head, before stepping back into the ring, holding the title over her head. Chainz just looks on, unwilling to enter the same ring as Kim. Kim smiles as she waves at him before rolling to the floor. Kim then throws the title over her shoulder and starts to head to the back. The camera following her. Little D writhes in the ring, in pain.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams with an emphatic win. But facing Deanna or the Farmstead Friends is going to be very different.”

Knots: “Ya, think?”

Kimberly Williams looks back for one more moment to enjoy her destruction before turning and heading backstage.

Backstage, we see Jenni Anderson standing with Lester Damron backstage.

Damron: “Ya know what…I wasn’t sure, but so far, you’ve been doin’ everything planned.”

Anderson: “I told you. I know how the world works and while Katie and Polly had to compete tonight, we’re fresh as daisies for Rise to Greatness. And Tsunami better be ready.”

Damron: “Ya stayed out of his way before, but now…you two are a team. Act like it.”

Anderson: “Relax, Mr. Damron. I will hold up my end of the bargain. I just listen. At Rise to Greatness, I’m carry my fair share. He better too. Because we’re very close and I’ve planned all of this so far. I want to take it the rest of the way.”

Damron: “He’ll be ready. I promise you that.”

Anderson: “Good. If so, pleasure doing business with both of you.”

Anderson then pulls out an envelope from her coat and extends it to Damron. Damron takes it and tips his hat before walking off as the scene fades to black.

We cut to a shot of Steve Griffin hitting a top rope decimator on CHBK from Rise to Greatness 2003, before cutting to a shot of Alistaire Allocco proudly holding the SCW World Championship and then showing a shot of Kelcey Wallace, Trinity Street and Lucas Knight standing over Ravyn Taylor and Kennedy Street at another Rise to Greatness event.

“This is your Rise to Greatness Rewind.”

The scene opens in the ring at Rise to Greatness 2006.

We open up at the Killjoy vs. The Real Speed scaffold match. Killjoy then walks over to Speed and lifts him up. He lifts him and looks to be about to throw him off the side. Speed, out of desperation, rakes his eyes. He falls down and then grabs Killjoy’s leg, Killjoy falls over the railing and Speed locks in the ankle lock. Killjoy yells in pain as he’s now hanging over the railing, tens of feet in the air over the barbed wire tables, which haven’t be broken yet. Speed smirks thinking Killjoy can’t do anything without hurting himself.

Sharper: “My God! Ankle lock and Killjoy is dangling over the edge of the platform. He’s got nowhere to go but down!”

Dawson: “Speed knows that. He knows that Killjoy can’t counter without sacrificing himself either.”

Killjoy continues to yell and can be seen grabbing the railing, hoping to push back on, but Speed continues to push forward. Killjoy then flips forward and Speed is pulled right over the railing and Speed starts to fall to the tables. Killjoy meanwhile, is hanging from the scaffold, holding onto the railing! Speed goes through the barbed wire wrapped tables and the crowd erupts in cheers and the bell rings.

Dawson: “I don’t believe it! Killjoy managed to hold on and win it!”

Sharper: “But Speed has a trip to the hospital planned.”

Johnson: “Both men do.”

Phillips: “The winner of the match, Killjoy!”

The crowd cheers as “Ya’ll Want a Single” plays throughout the arena. Killjoy swings his leg up and rolls under the railing and onto the platform. He gets up and throws his arms in the air celebrating. Officials and EMTs meanwhile check on Speed at the bottom. Killjoy then starts to try to take the tape off to get the cheese grater off his head.

Sharper: “We are never going to forget this match anytime soon. That was the most brutal thing I’ve seen in a long time.”

The Rise to Greatness XIX logo comes up on the screen.

We open up at ringside as Jason Phillips is heard.

Phillips: “Fans, please welcome at this time….Ricky James!”

The crowd boos as “Real American” plays, but not as recently heard. A few moments pass before we see the original Ricky James walk out from the back. The crowd cheers as Ricky James looks around the arena.

Sharper: “Well how about this. We saw him last week, forced out by security. Tonight, the original Ricky James coming down from the back!”

Lyman: “Rudy Powell has to be having a conniption!”

Ricky James walks down to the ring and over to it. He walks up the steel steps and then stops, looking at the ring before looking around. He then steps into the ring. We then cut backstage to see a camera swiveling from Rudy Powell, in mid-bite of food, to show a wall, where a splat of ketchup can be seen on it, before showing Rudy Powell turning around, covering his mouth.

Knots: “You were right Simon!”

Ricky James, at the ring, steps into the ring and then walks across the ring. He grabs a microphone waiting for him on the ring apron. He turns back and goes to the middle of the ring.

Powell: “Don’t you listen to this lies! Don’t listen to him!”

On the big screen, we see Rudy Powell waddling forward, covered in sweat, as ketchup can be seen on his shirt. The new Ricky James stands behind him. The old Ricky looks up at the big screen.

Powell: “Security should have him removed. This is nothing more than a sham, than a stick up, a witch hunt, to undermine the good name of Ricky James and Rudy Powell!”

Ricky: “Rudy! You know damn well, I’m the real deal and if you want to know why I’m standing in this ring….thank Shaun Cruze!”

The crowd roars.

Ricky: “After everything you’ve said about me, to me, and everything else for weeks, your stand-in now has to come to face that he’s not going to be Ricky James without a fight. And I’m not going to let you get this over me, you slug!”

The crowd cheers.

Powell: “Slug! That’s slander! That’s an insult on my character! I will sue the hell out of you!”

Ricky: “And I’ll happily do the same with my identity! Even having him wear my mask, the one I wore before I joined in this farce years ago! All of the respectability I’ve built up-“

Powell: “Changed and improved upon, Richie! Not going to call you Ricky. That’s not your name. He is Ricky James!”

Powell points to the new Ricky James behind him.

Ricky: “Well, let’s challenge that too. Because I can see at least you did something right and found someone with some skill.”

Ricky looks around.

Ricky: “I haven’t been sitting on my ass, instead going back to my roots, spending time getting back to ring shape myself and then I heard your cackling ass call me out. Well, let’s see who should be Ricky James.”

Powell: “Oh no! Oh no…I’m not going to let you dictate this. I’m not going to let you win this by some fluke. This is MY property and if you’re going to fight Ricky for it, then you’re going to have to make sure you actually win it fair and square.”

Ricky: “Then name your stipulation. Rise to Greatness weekend. We do it and I end this farce once and for all!”

The crowd roars.

Sharper: “How about this?! Ricky James back and wants to fight for his identity!”

Rudy Powell stammers, looking around, before dabbing his forehead with a handkerchief. He looks around and then looks at his new Ricky James and then turns back.

Powell: “Okay. Okay…You wanna fight for it, I can do that. Let’s do it. In the ring…in a match…and I’ll put the copyright papers and…uh…uh….we’ll hang em on a pole! Yeah! We’ll do that! You got over your fear of heights, right? Well, Ricky here never was afraid. He’s better than you and you want ‘your’ identity back…no…it’s mine and staying that way and you won’t be climbing the pole to get it. Ricky here is and you’ll have to go back to Mexico to obscurity like you deserve, you ingrate!”

Ricky looks around.

Ricky: “You serious? A contract on a pole match? That’s your brilliant idea?”

Powell: “What? You scared? Huh?! Yeah! I didn’t stutter!”

Ricky looks around as the crowd roars.

Ricky: “Fine…put it on a pole and I’ll grab it down and Rudy…I’ll make you eat this too! Because SCW, I’m back and I’m taking what is MINE!”

Powell: “No, you’re not! No you’re not!”

Rudy yells as Ricky throws the microphone back. “Real American” plays throughout the arena.

Sharper: “Ricky James is back and he’s taking back his name and identity!”

Knots: “He has to go through Rudy’s little obstacle here, but he’s game!”

Lyman: “But the new Ricky can go. Ricky better be ready. High stakes at Rise to Greatness!”

Ricky James walks around the ring, playing to the crowd as Rudy is shown now hyping his Ricky James though without sound. The old Ricky James continues to play to the crowd as we cut away.

“The Old Me” plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. We then see a shot of Christy Matthews vs. Alexis Quinne.

Sharper: “Well from that to a clash from the past – Alexis Quinne and Christy Matthews know each other well and these former World Champions will meet, one on one, next, here on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

Christy Matthews vs. Alexis Quinne

The opening “King of the World” by Porcelain and the Tramps hits the PA system. The fans cheer as we cut to black. Spotlights highlight areas of the crowd. We cut to an area of the crowd where we see Christy walking through. Her fists are taped and she’s wearing a red ring jacket with red hood pulled up over her head.

...O R D E R O F C H A O S P R E S E N T S...

...C H R I S T Y M A T T H E W S...

Christy pauses, her head down for a moment before extending her arms in the mock crucifix pose. After a moment she starts walking to the ring. When she approaches ringside, she doesn’t even break stride, simply vaulting over the guardrail and toward the ring apron where she jumps up, quickly ascending the turnbuckles and extends her arms again in the mock crucifix pose.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit, Introducing, from the City of Angels, this is CHRISTY MATTHEWS!”

She steps up onto the top turnbuckle and then jumps down to the ring, taking off her jacket and throwing it into the corner. She extends her arms out again before collapsing back into a seated position in the corner.

Sharper: “Christy Matthews about to face her former friends. A mentee of hers. And all of this as she goes to Rise to Greatness to hope to earn that rematch for the US Title that she forewent after Spencer Pryce won.”

Knots: “Great decisions there, huh?”

Lyman: “Not going to bite, Jon.”

Knots: “Come on! Slander the kid!”

The eyes all focus on the stage. The lights grow dim. Opening strum of Rage Against the Machine's Calm Like a Bomb plays. White house lights illuminate the ramp.

Feel the funk blast
Feel the funk blast
FEEL THE FUNK BLAST

The song kicks it. The house lights turn blue, red, green, etc. Alexis Quinne walks out through the curtains, drawing a few gasps upon arrival. The crowd roars. She is dressed in a black and orange long sleeve prison jumpsuit along with a black and orange sugar mask with white trim, which she suddenly rips off her face and tosses it in the ring. Very abruptly, she storms down to the ring.

Phillips: “Her opponent, coming down to the ring, from San Francisco, California, she is Alexis Quinne!”

Alexis's facial expression remains tighten. Her eyes never leave the ring. She then tosses her mask to the crowd. Reaching ringside, Alexis quickly rolls through the bottom rope. She then stands up and walks to the corner, resting her head against the turnbuckle pad. From there, she immediately lowers the zip of her jumpsuit down to her waist, revealing a simply black tanktop underneath. Quinne remains in the corner, choosing not to sit on the top turnbuckle. She's seen saying "come on" repeatedly. She then hops down and looks across at Christy.

Sharper: “And Alexis Quinne has an Adrenaline Championship shot and she’s had some issues with Autumn Valentine, whom has reconciled with Christy as of late.”

Lyman: “It’s amazing how careers become intertwined.”

Knots: “Alexis and Christy used the train together, right?”

Sharper: “Indeed and so they know each other well.”

The crowd roars as Steve Hollinsworth checks both and then calls for the bell. Quinne nods as Christy watches Quinne. The two circle the ring and then lock up in the middle of the ring in a collar-and-elbow tie-up. They push back on one another and Christy uses her side to lock in a side headlock. Lyman: “Nods of respect back and forth.”

Christy and Alexis circle the ring again. They lock up again and this time, Alexis spins around into an arm wrench. She then spins around Christy and moves into a side headlock from behind. Christy lifts her up and Alexis backflips to her feet. Christy then grabs her going for a hip toss. Quinne blocks it and then Christy ducks under and grabs Alexis’s arm, wrenching it. Sharper: “Respect is something so important for Quinne. And you saw the concern Quinne has for Datura. Quinne away from the ring for a while before returning earlier this year. Clearly still respect for Matthews.”

Lyman: “Yeah and even giving her the ring now. Quinne is one of the good ones and as she’s gotten older, she really understands this sport.”

Quinne walks around and high-fives a few fans hands before walking up the rampway. Matthews remains in the ring as we cut away.

Backstage, we see Kimberly Williams skipping backstage. The crowd roars seeing her as she makes a few more steps before we hear a sharp yell.

???: “Hey!”

Kim stops and spins around in an exaggerated fashion. We then see Sarah Wolf walking up to her.

Kim: “Oh yay! My worst friend! I was hoping you’d be Deanna so I could see how her kicks are coming!”

Wolf: “You’re just a wonderful bundle of joy.”

Kim: “I know! It’s great, isn’t it?!”

Wolf scoffs and steps forward.

Kim: “We going to kiss?”

Wolf: “No…but you better taking Rise to Greatness seriously. There’s a penguin and a bear that need to be ripped limb from limb. And if your cavalier attitude screws that up, I’ll make sure it’s the worst mistake you ever made.”

Kim: “I hope that’s a promise!”

Wolf: “It’s a vow.”

Wolf looks at Kim before turning and walking off. Kim waves at her.

Kim: “See you at Rise to Greatness worstie!”

Kim continues to wave as the scene fades to commercial.

We return live to see Christy Matthews in the ring, microphone in her hand.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown here live in Phoenix, Arizona. Our last stop before Rise to Greatness XIX. Christy Matthews still in the ring.”

Christy Matthews pushes off the ropes and steps back.

Christy: “You know what you just saw in this ring is something sadly that doesn’t always happen. Alexis and I have had more than our share of issues in the past. And yet tonight, we left it all in this ring.”

Christy pauses.

Christy: “All I’ll say Alexis…I’m rooting for Autumn, but I do hope that you don’t lose a friend.”

Christy walks around the ring as the crowd roars.

Christy: “But it seems like even veterans can’t understand this. Konrad Raab coming out and taunting me not only about Lucas Knight’s SCW career becoming derailed thanks to him…nice to forget about the role his brother had in that…but then to come out and make this personal by talking about my daughter. Konrad…I can’t wait for this Sunday because I plan to give you the shortest landing I can with a quick trip, and make you shut up for all good measure!”

The crowd roars. Christy looks out at the main camera.

Christy: “You seem to only know aggression, Konrad, but you seem to forget that I have my fair share of it and at Rise to Greatness, most of it will be unleashed against you as I cut through you and someone else to get the rematch I gave up out of kindness…yeah, sometimes that blows up in our face, right Simon?”

Simon Lyman is shown on camera as Christy walks around the room.

Christy: “And given that I’ve been in this sport for a while, and I’ve even said some terrible things, I probably shouldn’t care, but I happened to notice that someone has a problem with our match at Rise to Greatness. Now this same person used to think they were the Best in the World. They think they deserve something better!”

Sharper: “Oh boy! She’s talking about Glory!”

Christy looks around.

Christy: “I don’t know much about Darko. But I know enough about you Glory. We were in something similar last year and we both want the US Championship. Now, I learned it the hard way, thinking I deserved the world, when what I needed was a kick in the ass and I got what I’ve been yearning for for a long, long time this past year. Some of the most fun I’ve had in this sport.”

Christy pauses again.

Christy: “But Glor-“

Before Christy can finish, “When Legends Rise” by Gobsmack plays as the crowd roars. A few moments pass before Glory Braddock walks out from the back. She looks down at the ring and storms to the ring. Christy stops and looks at the entrance way. Glory walks over to the ring and walks around it. Christy watches her as Glory heads over to Jason Phillips. She asks for a microphone. Phillips hands her one and Glory turns to the ring.

Glory: “If you’re going to do this, let’s do it face to face!”

Christy: “Come on in!”

The crowd roars as Glory walks up the steel steps and into the ring.

Sharper: “Here we go.”

Knots: “Glory and Christy face to face! Come on!”

Glory steps forward and right up to Christy.

Glory: “So what you do want to say?”

Christy: “What do I want to say – easy. You can bitch all you want Glory, but if you think that a US Title shot is beneath you, when you and I stood in this ring weeks ago, both wanting to get to this point. That facing a Hall of Famer and former World Champion isn’t good enough. Then Glory, kindly, go eff yourself!”

The crowd roars. Glory smirks and looks at Christy.

Glory: “Well, Christy…that’s kind. Thanks for doing it to my face. Too bad Alexis is not out here as I’d rather face winners.”

The crowd ohs. Glory looks at Christy as Christy nods.

Glory: “I may not call myself the Best in the World, but I’m sorry, I’m not a welcoming committee. I’m not a tag wrestler unless it’s with someone I hoped to show the ropes too. Just like you hoped that Spencer Pryce may be something more than a sniveling brat…I hoped Amelia Stone wouldn’t get injured. Life sucks. I was having fun too. But Christy…I can be pissed off about it. I’m a successful businesswoman. I’m a former World Champion-“

Christy: “Your fifteen minutes there ended a long time ago!”

The crowd ohs as Glory nods and smirks.

Glory: “Cute-“

The crowd roars.

Christy: “Glory…you and I have been around the block a long time. And trust me from someone who thought I was better than I was, you should learn-“

Glory: “Well Christy-“

Before Glory can even respond, we see Konrad Raab running down to the ring and sliding in. Glroy shoves Christy down and steps up as Raab runs at Glory. Glory ducks and spins around. Raab turns and Glory nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Raab staggers back to the ropes. Glory grabs him and goes to whip him across, but Raab spins through and sends Glory in. Glory bounces off and Raab grabs her by the throat with a double choke. The crowd roars. He hoists her up, but Christy steps up and runs over and boots Raab in the side of te head. Raab lets go and falls through the ropes as Glory falls through the ropes. Raab rolls through to the floor. Christy gets up as Glory steps up and the two go face to face. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Glory and Christy again face to face!”

Lyman: “Oh man. The heat turned up on this one!”

Glory and Christy jaw at one another before Raab pulls himself up onto the apron. Christy shoves Glory down before running at Raab and nailing him with a hard forearm shot. Christy backs up and Glory spins her around and the two get again in each other’s face. We cut to the entrance way to see Danny Darko standing on the stage, just watching.

Sharper: “Darko on the stage! Glory and Christy face to face! Raab knocked down by Glory!”

Knots: “This ramped up face. You said it Simon!”

Darko looks on as Raab tries to get back up onto the apron. Glory and Christy run over and knocking him off again. Raab fall back and Glory then pulls Christy back and turns to her. The two start to shove one another as they then start to trade blows. The crowd erupts in cheers as they go back and forth. Officials run past Darko and down to the ring. The crowd roars as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, Deanna Frost can be seen backstage in her locker room. We then see Jessica Winters knocking on the door.

Winters: “Deanna…mind if I come in and ask you about Rise to Greatness?”

Deanna smiles.

Deanna: “Of course. Come on in.”

Winters: “Thanks Deanna. I assume you watched Kim’s match earlier.”

Deanna: “If we can call it that. She can have her fun and she seems to be having a lot of it. But I think every time she looks in the mirror, that should help answer some questions about why she’s not just getting everything she wants.”

Winters: “She is double-booked at Rise to Greatness.”

Deanna: “That’s if she survives me. Look, I know, I know. I’m entering the Underground on Rise to Greatness’s pre-show! I’m not scared of whatever she will bring or do. I hate to put it simply, but I’ve been in prison. That was scarier than her…and I survived. I think Kim may want to make sure that she’s not overbooked herself. She’s getting pretty cocky and I think a lot of people are starting to see through it. She may seem fun to be around. I know some people are going to cheer her over me. They’d want to have a beer with her or what not. I’m just going to do what I know I can do. Show up, compete, and maybe, just maybe, force Kim to realize that maybe the Underground won’t be synonymous with her.”

Deanna smirks.

Deanna: “Because I damn sure am better than Little D.”

Winters: “I can agree there. Thanks for your time.”

Deanna: “Thank you.”

Jessica Winters leaves as Deanna Frost thinks for a moment before snapping out of it and turning back as the scene fades to black.

Backstage, Danny Darko stands with Jaina Lancaster in the SCW interview area.

Lancaster: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Jaina Lancaster here with Danny Darko. Danny, we just saw you come out to the stage, but basically, stand back and watch. A lot of people made something of you not helping Glory or Christy when Tsunami attacked when you first debuted…is this anything more or….”

Darko turns to Jaina.

Darko: “I can see how people may think that. As I said to Glory, I didn’t get involved because I’ve learned in my career not to get involved in other people’s business. Tonight, though…That….”

Darko looks out.

Darko: “That was me choosing to not get involved at all. Glory has a problem. Whatever it is and I’ve become part of it. I guess I’m learning what SCW is all about. But I’ll show Glory how wrong she is about what she deserves at Rise to Greatness. I wasn’t expecting to be in US Title contention, but you know what…with the opportunity, I’m not going to pass it by. And maybe, much like I did after several years away…Glory can learn some humility.”

Darko nods and walks off as the crowd roars. Jaina watches him leave before we cut to the ring.

Syren & Gavin Taylor vs. Samuel Davis & Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. We cut to the backstage area where we see a tour bus with Syren’s logo on the side. Syren walks out in her full ring gear, complete with black ring jacket and pink halter-top/black tights. She begins walking into the arena as we cut back to inside to see the fans reacting. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as we see one of the doors opening and Syren walking through. She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.

Sinfully Seductive

Captivatingly Corrupt

DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the walkway to the crowd barricade before walking around and through the timekeeper’s area. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.

Phillips: “The following content is a tag match scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit, first. Introducing, hailing from Los Angeles, California, this is SYREN!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope and posing in the ring with both her arms outstretched. She screams before taking off her ring jacket and throwing it over the top rope toward the timekeeper’s table. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment before jumping back down and standing in her corner as her music fades out.

Sharper: “Syren coming out here. We are just a week and a half away from when she will face Gavin Taylor in a thirty minute, ironperson match.”

Knots: “She can get to see him first hand. See what he has going on, and vice-versa. Maybe good for them!”

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show

And the song continues...

The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Phillips: “Her partner, from Los Angeles, California, he is the All-Star, Gavin Taylor!”

Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feel it whoa (whoa)
The more I need it whoa (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

The song continues...

I cheated to get what I got
Stepped all over you self for my spot
I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not
I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponents. Syren looks on.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor focused here tonight. He wants to prove he deserves to be in the same ring as Syren.”

Lyman: “Syren is a hall of famer and Gavin is thinking about that, thinking about how he could be up there. He’s always been potential. He wants to be actualization!”

|| Haüs of Nirvana ||

|| STD & Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat ||

“One Shining Moment” by Luther Vandross plays as the crowd roars a bit. A few moments pass before we see Samuel Davis walking out from the back with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and GiGi Aries. Davis and Joseph both hold the SCW Television Championship, wanting to each take it. GiGi begins to whisper something to Samuel who nods rapidly. GiGi Aries then proceeds to lead Samuel through a breathing exercise as they take a deep breath and slowly exhale a couple times.

Phillips: “Their opponents, representing the Haüs of Nirvana, accompanied by GiGi Aries, they are the joint holders of the SCW Television Championship, they are the team of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Samuel Davis!”

Samuel lets go and Joseph holds the title herself. GiGi Aries checks on him as Samuel gives the ok to GiGi that he is good. They proceed toward the ring as Joseph looks in the ring, smiling as she holds her title proudly. Samuel begins to get in the music as he runs around the ringside slapping hands of no one. He makes a lap before he climbs into the ring as GiGi joins him. Joseph enters the ring as GiGi pulls out some sage and begins to sage Samuel who chokes on the sage and has a coughing fit.

Sharper: “Ridiculous name aside, you can see the confidence in Clamidiya as she moves forward-“

Knots: “Her name is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Holly is trying to give her some respectability!”

Sharper: “Well they can gain that with a big win tonight. We’ll see what happens here.”

Samuel and Joseph talk as Syren and Gavin cooperate a bit better. The bell sounds. Syren nods and exits the ring as Gavin turns to his opponents. Samuel points to the apron. Joseph rolls her eyes and exits to the apron. GiGi shakes his head as Gavin watches Samuel. Samuel turns and points at Gavin and nods. The two circle the ring. They lock up in the middle. Gavin and Samuel push back on one another and Gavin drops down and around Samuel into a waistlock from behind. Samuel reaches around and Gavin smacks Samuel in the back of the head, once and then again, before moving into a side headlock. Samuel reaches around and pulls Gavin back into the ropes. He then fires him off. Gavin bounces off and Samuel steps up and Gavin shoulders him down. Gavin looks at him and stomps him in the face. Samuel rolls away and to the ropes.

Sharper: “Gavin just didn’t decide to run. Hard stomp and Samuel Davis not happy!”

Knots: “Let them get through it. They’ll be fine!”

Sharper: “Isn’t it? Holly’s just naming her after whatever!”

Syren turns as Joseph stirs and grabs her. She forearms her in the jaw. She hits another. Joseph falls to the ropes. Syren whips her across. Joseph bounces off and Syren goes for a back drop. Joseph lands behind her. She kicks at the back of Syren’s leg. She falls to a knee. Joseph steps back, tags in Samuel and turns back, nailing Syren in the back of the head. Syren falls over. Joseph stomps her a few times before the official gets her back. As he does, Samuel runs over and stomps Syren a couple of times for good measure. The crowd boos. Sharper: “That’s putting it mildly!”

Samuel gets up and turns, grabbing Syren. He hooks her up, but Syren blocks it. She nails him in the ribs once and then again before hoisting her up and hitting a release front suplex. Lyman: “You don’t have an answer. Simple can just hurt and both Syren and Gavin demonstrating that!”

Samuel rolls over, holding his chest. He gets up and Gavin grabs him and hits an inverted atomic drop. Samuel grimaces in pain. Gavin runs back into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a Gavin Taylor Lariat. Samuel ducks and smiles. Gavin stops and watches Samuel. Sharper: “Clamidiya in and she’s focused.”

Lyman: “Looks like he wants to take it to the bank!”

Joseph nails Gavin with a couple of hard rights and whips him across the ring. Gavin hits the corner. Joseph runs after and Gavin gets a boot up. Joseph stumbles back. Gavin runs out and nails her with the Gavin Taylor lariat. The crowd roars. Gavin looks around.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor Lariat!”

Knots: “Oh God!”

Joseph rolls to the ropes and Gavin turns and heads after her, but Samuel Davis drops down and runs over to Joseph and pulls her out of the ring to the floor. The crowd boos. Samuel pulls Joseph in and Joseph and him look at one another. Gavin then runs across the ring. (1) He bounces off as Joseph and Davis continue to look in each other’s eyes. (2) Gavin then dives through the ropes, but Davis pushes Joseph out of the way. Gavin hits a suicide dive onto Davis. (1) The crowd ohs. Joseph looks over and backs up. (2) Syren watches as Joseph staggers around the ring. (3) Gavin rolls over on the floor, wincing in pain as Syren then walks along the apron.(4) GiGi looks on as Joseph turns and looks at Davis, almost concerned. (5) Joseph then turns as Syren, who has climbed to the top rope, dives off the top and lands on Joseph! (6)

Sharper: “Syren getting involved. Dive off the top rope and onto Clamidiya!”

Knots: “Her name’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!”

Sharper: “I’m not calling her that. Not until she agrees with the damn name!”

Syren rolls over as Gavin gets up and the official checks on Joseph and Syren. He stops his count briefly as we see Gavin get up and GiGi runs over and shoves him in the barricade. Gavin falls to the floor. He walks away as the official steps back, returning to his count. (7) He looks around as Gavin winces. Samuel remains down as Joseph is too. (8) Syren starts to get up and turns. (9) She gets up as Gavin pulls himself up via the barricade. (10) Gavin rolls into the ring but the bell sounds. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “And the count has ended. Gavin just avoiding, thanks to Giovanni getting involved.”

Lyman: “GiGi delayed it. Syren now in the ring too.”

Knots: “Look at that1 Davis and Joseph! They just drew Syren and Gavin Taylor! The life coaching! The success!”

Syren rolls into the ring and gets up. Gavin gets up as Davis starts to get up. GiGi raises his arm. The crowd boos as Joseph stirs on the floor. Davis walks over and checks on her as GiGi helps her up. He hands them their TV Title. Immediately both go to grab it and start to pull, restarting their tension. Syren just shakes her head as Gavin looks at her. Syren steps up and points to him and says something to him. Gavin then responds. The two stand face to face.

Sharper: “Syren firing up Gavin, just as we saw a few weeks ago. Gavin handing it back.”

Lyman: “Obviously, Syren wants to win. Gavin would too. But clearly this went up both sideways!”

Sharper: “And come Rise to Greatness, a countout is just a fall. And they both know it. They’ll meet in a thirty minute ironperson match!”

Syren continues to jaw at Gavin. Gavin nods and turns away. Syren watches him before spinning him back around. Gavin looks right at Syren as the crowd roars. Joseph pulls the title away from Davis and heads to the back as GiGi goes to talk to Davis. Back in the ring, Syren and Gavin continue to jaw at one another before the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

We return to Breakdown as we see GiGi Aries talking to Samuel Davis. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat just cradles the title.

Aries: “See what happens when you work together. You both have confidence. That positivity just led you to draw a hall of famer.”

Davis: “I…I can’t believe it. Not being bullied. Being nurtured. Imagine what I could’ve been if Selena wasn’t…well…Selena!”

Aries: “Exactly. She is poison. Syren and Gavin didn’t care about who you were. They came to fight and you rose to their level and you will surpass them as long as you both stay the path. Right Joseph?”

Joseph looks up.

Joseph: “Oh yeah…yeah…”

Aries then looks up and stops as Datura can be seen standing in front of them.

Aries: “Go to the locker room. I need to talk to another client.”

Davis goes to grab the title from Joseph, but Joseph pulls it away as they head off. Datura steps up.

Aries: “I hope you saw what I can offer. And at Rise to Greatness, when the Adrenaline Championship comes to the Brand…it is only going to help in so many ways. Even Samuel and Joseph…both competing at Rise to Greatness weekend. As defending champions too! Ace Sky and Crystal Zdunich will need to be prepared.”

Datura: “Did you really help them though? You attacked Gavin and-“

Aries stops Datura.

Aries: “Does it matter? Did you not see their joy? The confidence.”

Datura: “Built on a lie.”

Aries: “Built by removing obstacles. Just like the negativity you’re experiencing. I understand Cid…reached you in some ways. There was a respect. But you’ve stayed with me this far…you’ve not left. And I did get you an Adrenaline Championship shot.”

Datura stops and thinks, looking down, before nodding.

Datura: “This is true. I just…I wanted to have an open mind. And I certainly would love to hold the Adrenaline Championship.”

Aries: “Yes, the Brand holding the title would be wonderful. And I will be there, right there too, to help ensure the Brand can be the paragon of success. Don’t you want to be a part of that?”

Datura: “I just said I’d want to be champion-“

Aries: “Of course. Naturally…and we will get you there. You just need to be open to follow…of course, not for free.”

Datura nods as Aries smiles, placing his arm around Datura and leading her off camera.

The camera cuts to the crowd where we see a group of red-shirted security walking in through one of the ground-level entrances. They line up in front of the fans for a moment and seem to be holding them back. Then the lights go out leaving the arena in complete darkness. The screen fills with images of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural address.

“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is—”

There’s a record scratch before a deep voice fills the arena.

“INFAMOUS!”

The opening of “Open Your Eyes” by Guano Apes hits the PA system.

“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”

The song gets stuck on the word and is then interrupted by the deep sound of the voice of Marilyn Manson.

“Just lay your head in daddy’s lap
You’re a bad girl!”

“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as we cut to the backstage. We see Ravyn Taylor walking the corridors, accompanied by both CHBK and Alexander Crowe. We can hear the boos from the live crowd as we follow the trio walking backstage. We then cut to the shot of the doorway again where we see Ravyn Taylor walk through. She pauses, a smirk on her face for a moment, before beginning to walk to the ring.

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor on her way out here with CHBK and Alexander Crowe. Doing the walk through the crowd and remember how just a few months ago, Ducky was so happy to do it with her.”

Lyman: “And now Nicole Kinneck is Ravyn’s new obsession. Her experiment. How sick is that?”

Knots: “Ravyn made some headway last week. It looks like Luna may have appeared, even for a bit.”

Sharper: “We were told that roadkill was found in the locker room of Ravyn. But other than that, outside of repeated calls for Ravyn to back off by others, Ravyn has been unable to get Luna out, outside of the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal where she appeared briefly again there!”

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

We follow the group as they make their way down toward ringside, with security keeping fans back in the aisles. Ravyn doesn’t seem at all distracted by the noise and movement of people around her however, keeping her eyes focused on the ring. She gets to the barricade and pauses. Alexander Crowe grabs her by the arms and lift her up and over. She jumps down the other side and smirks again as she starts to walk toward the ring. Ravyn steps up the ring steps, pausing for a moment before stepping into the ring. CHBK follows after and Alexander Crowe is last. Ravyn Taylor heads over to the corner and demands a microphone.

Knots: “And you know what – just to show how everything has a point, who did we just see in action?”

Sharper: “Great point. Syren and Gavin. They’re backstage, presumably doing their postmatch rituals and Ravyn would certainly know Syren’s. Gavin possibly is taking a shower. So if Ravyn has something planned…they aren’t going to get involved in some way.”

Phillips hands her one. Ravyn takes it and walks back over to the middle of the ring. The music fades out as the crowd boos.

Ravyn: “I know. I know. I’m not particularly well liked. So be it. I don’t really care!”

Ravyn smirks.

Ravyn: “Because we are just over a week away from Rise to Greatness weekend and while I know I have a match scheduled against Nicole Kinneck…that just doesn’t get my blood boiling. It’s the biggest show of the year and I’m far from complete in my current experiment.”

Ravyn smirks.

Ravyn: “I have been told of a personality known as Luna. And Nicole, I want to her meet her. For more than just a brief introduction. I wish to get to know her. Now I know I’ve been told that this is a fool’s errand. That I should forget about such an approach. That I should pretend I never heard of her. She is the source of all nightmares.”

Ravyn pauses, looking down and then looking up at the main camera.

Ravyn: “You forget that I have suffered many nightmares before too.”

Ravyn then leans forward on the top rope.

Ravyn: “And Luna sounds like just some sort of fairy tale, a children’s story which is full of scary things, but in reality is hardly something to worry about. And I want to test that.”

The crowd boos.

Ravyn: “But I’ve only had bits of pieces. Taking Hold of the Flame. Last week, Luna appears to have made a visit. But I want her face to face to with me. To see who she really is. I’ve meant Pro. I know Ducky really well and I hope she knows Uncle Roy would be proud of her. I’ve even had brief interaction with Nicole. But I want to meet the whole family!”

Ravyn smirks.

Ravyn: “And that leads me to tonight. I am running out of time.”

Ravyn sighs.

Ravyn: “And so I will have to do something a bit more aggressive. Because I want to ensure I meet Luna at Rise to Greatness XIX. And so Luna…please come out. That’s all I want. And to ensure I get you…to ensure you will meet me one on one, that you’ll have every opportunity to do whatever perverse violence you think will make it easier for you to appear, I’ve asked a simple favour from Shaun Cruze. That our match be no holds barred.”

The crowd roars.

Ravyn: “That’s right. You will have yours truly one on one and you can do anything you wish to me! But I can do the same back. I may poke, and prod, and test, and push…and I will enjoy it. I want you to enjoy this too. So Luna…the invitation is there. I’m bored with Pro, and Nicole…and even Ducky. I want you!”

???: “Please….please stop.”

Ravyn turns as the cameras cut to the stage as Nicole Kinneck walks out from the back, microphone in her hand. Nicole is alone, not full of aggression or energy. Instead, there is a look of fear on her face. Nicole looks around and then looks down.

Nicole: “Just stop this. Please. Please…It’s not worth it.”

Ravyn: “Oh but it is, Nicole. I have a thirst for knowledge-“

Nicole: “This is not a game!”

Ravyn: “It is to me. And fortunately, my opinion is the only one I care about.”

Nicole looks around and then just walks to the ring. She reaches the ring and looks up. Ravyn looks down to her, saying something to her, without the microphone. Nicole then looks down before looking around and then pulling herself up onto the apron and crawling into the ring. She then stays on her knees in front of Ravyn.

Nicole: “Please…Please don’t unleash her.”

Sharper: “Oh God….Nicole is begging Ravyn to move on from this.”

Ravyn turns away, looking out at the crowd, smirk on her face. CHBK looks not particularly amused though.

Nicole: “Why are you doing this? Ducky loves you. I don’t know why. Pro warned you. Dilly….Luna doesn’t need to be-“

Ravyn: “She does. Because I wish it. And so….”

Ravyn then boots Nicole in the face, knocking her back.

Ravyn: “Send her the message!”

Ravyn lunges on her and nails her with a couple of hard right hand shots, using the microphone for added damage.

Sharper: “Give me a break! Stop her! Stop Ravyn!”

Lyman: “And here comes Crowe and CHBK!”

Crowe and CHBK run over and start to stomp away on her, Crowe more into it than CHBK as Ravyn rolls off. She then walks around the ring, throwing the microphone down. She turns and then motions to CHBK and Crowe to back up and Ravyn steps over and mounts her and just openly starts to choke her. Ravyn leans forward and looks in her eyes.

Ravyn: “Come on Luna! Come to the driver’s seat! Come on! If Pro won’t fight me, you can do it! COME ON!”

Ravyn keeps trying to choke Nicole as officials run down to the ring. They head to the ring and slide in. Ravyn is pulled off by officials before CHBK grabs her and pulls her back. Ravyn looks up at him, almost annoyed as she gets up and officials stand between Nicole and Infamous. Nicole rolls over to her side and we see a couple of crew members checking on Nicole. Ravyn just shakes her head, clearly unhappy. She turns and exits the ring, annoyed. CHBK follows as Crowe does next. As this happens, though, one of the crew members is shoved back by Nicole. We then see Nicole jump up and tackle another official down, starting to bite his forehead. We hear yelling and screaming before Nicole pulls away, a gash opening up over the eye. We then see Nicole licking the face of the man, almost lapping up blood from the cut before she’s forced down by officials. She has a deranged look on her face, before suddenly snapping out of it, and returning to her look of pure horror.

Sharper: “My God! For a moment-“

Ravyn smirks.

Knots: “Ravyn is happy! She’s happy!”

Sharper: “Luna was there. Luna was in the driver’s seat for a moment. I always thought there was a dominant aspect to this. I’m not a psychiatrist, but…Luna broke through. Only the third time in the last couple of months. And first time since Nicole returned!”

Lyman: “And Ravyn is smiling! She got her out for a moment at least!”

Knots: “And the wheels will keep turning. She has over a week and a half to use everything to try and get what she wants at Rise to Greatness!”

Sharper: “God have mercy on us if she succeeds!”

Nicole continues to be held back, blood on her chin, as the official is checked on by others. Ravyn winks at Nicole as she walks around the ring. CHBK then pushes Ravyn to the entrance way. Crowe follows as the scene cuts away.

Cid Turner vs. Owen Lee

The opening rifts to ‘Here we Go’ by Chris Classic blasts through the PA, as mist fills the entranceway. The music stops, a huge explosion rocks the entranceway and Owen jumps, seemingly through the floor and landing on his feet, dropping to one knee and punching the floor

“I been more than ready
Preppin' heavy
For this day to come”

Owen gets to his feet, and looks left and right at the reaction he is getting, a look of focus and determination on his face as he takes in the crowd.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Miami, Florida, he is Owen Lee!”

“And so now nothing can stop me
I just grind and work
Yeah yeah, you know the motto
You know we goin' hard cause we might never see tomorrow”

He begins the walk down to the ring, slapping the hand of anyone who offers, before sliding in and under the bottom rope, before standing in the middle of the ring his arms outstretched.

“I keep my eye on the fakes and got real from it
Mastered patience and free will from it
That's the real motivation some people kill for it
I keep reachin' for greatness because I'm built from it”

Owen points to the turnbuckle and then runs towards it, bouncing on the middle ropes and back flipping backwards, landing on both feet.

“Here we go
Give it a 100 never nothin' less
Here we go
We comin', you already know the rest
Here we go
We never settle 'cause we know it best
Who wanna test? Who?
Leave you outta breath”

Owen pulls on the top rope a couple of time, applauding the fans as his music fades

Sharper: “Owen marching to Rise to Greatness. Mere days until he challenges for the SCW United States Championship against Josh Hudson in a submission match.”

Knots: “The cocky kid told Josh to watch him tonight. I think there may be more than watching!”

Lyman: “Between Hudson and Adams, this match may be anything but normal.”

The lights slowly dim down. The crowd buzzes in anticipation, many of them taking their phones out and lighting up the arena with their flashlights. After a few moments of silence, “Dark Child” by Marlon Williams plays as the lights flash back on. The big screen shows several highlights of Cid Turner's career as the song continues to play. The crowd boos as Cid makes his way onto the stage, looking tensely out into the crowd. Cid takes a moment to let it all soak in before he begins his walk down the ramp.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Denver, Colorado, he is the Fallen King, Cid Turner!”

“My little blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy

One day you'll grow up and be distressed

One day you'll grow up and reject everything

I've set out for you”

Cid continues his walk down the ramp and keeps his eye on the ring while continually muttering to himself. Cid reaches the ring. Cid climbs up the steps, slowly walking across the apron to the corner and pulling himself up onto the second rope, standing on the turnbuckle and looking around the arena while taking a deep breath.

“My only dear long wasteful son

One day you'll wonder what you've become”

The music begins to fade out as Cid climbs down from the ropes and enters the ring. Cid leans up against the corner and strokes his overgrown beard.

Sharper: “And Cid Turner made it clear he had nothing to do with Holly after he confronted her. Holly even found out from Adam Allocco that he was behind it. Holly doesn’t believe him.”

Knots: “Why should she?!”

Lyman: “We know Cid wasn’t here!”

Knots: “So he says!”

Sharper: “In any case, Cid Turner is focused on one thing tonight. Facing Owen Lee. Then at Rise to Greatness, facing Holly Adams!”

The bell sounds as Cid and Owen look at one another. Cid then extends his hand for a handshake. Owen looks a bit confused. Cid prompts him again. Owen quickly slaps his hand and then two circle. The crowd looks on before Cid and Owen lock up in the middle of the ring with a collar-and-elbow tie-up. They push back on one another as Owen then drops down and around Cid. Cid grabs his arms as Owen tries to maneuver and then gets his hands free and moves forward for a side headlock. Cid slides through and grabs Owen in a waistlock. He hoists Owen up and hits a Greco-Roman takedown. Cid spins through into a front facelock. Owen reaches around and rolls over, getting free and Cid goes to grab him, but Owen turns and pushes him over. Cid hooks his head and takes Owen over to his back. Cid moves into a lateral press.

Lyman: “Just taking a moment. Resetting. Calming this down.”

Knots: “Owen’s looking jumpy. Maybe looking to fly.”

Owen hops up and down as Cid walks around the ring, holding his jaw. (2) He looks over as Owen watches him. Cid slowly heads around the ring. (3) He gets over to the ropes and climbs up onto the apron. Owen walks over and grabs him, but Cid counters with a guillotine drop. Owen stumbles back. Knots: “Maybe testing his strategy for Hudson. Keeping a hold on. Keeping near him so he can try to contain him!”

Owen and Cid get up as Owen clubs Cid in the arm. He then whips him into the corner. Cid hits hard. Owen runs after and Cid steps out and grabs Owen and throws him shoulder first into the ringpost. Sharper: “Cid just stopping the trading of pins. Owen upside down on the top rope!”

Lyman: “And Cid looking to take advantage of his speed here!”

Knots: “Well who wouldn’t want to kick Owen in the head!”

Lyman: “Getting some good momentum but not turning into the victory.”

Knots: “That’s the thing. Owen won’t stop until he’s forced to. And if Cid won’t. Wait…he can’t. Hudson will get him.”

Cid gets up as Owen rolls over. Cid grabs him and pulls him up and runs him face first into the nearby top turnbuckle. Owen turns around. Cid kicks him in the ribs once and then again before grabbing him and whipping him across the ring. Cid turns and runs after him as Owen flips up and over and to the apron. Cid rolls over as Owen gets up and grabs him. He turns and kicks him in the ribs. Owen turns and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and kicks Cid in the chest. Cid pops up and Owen jumps up and goes for another hurricanrana, but Cid counters with a sitout powerbomb. The crowd ohs.

Knots: “Time to see how the training is doing Owen! Hudson’s going to tie you up worse!”

Owen grits his teeth and bridges up. He reaches out and starts to try to reach for the ropes. SCW referee Aaron Demitra checks on him. Owen shakes his head no. He then bridges up again and looks around before managing to tuck under and Cid stumbles back as Owen forces him back. He then kicks Cid in the ribs once and then again before grabbing Cid and locking in an inside cradle.

Cid lets go and both get up and Owen hits a drop toe hold before he moves into the Lee Lock. He stands up as Cid yells in pain.

Sharper: “Owen now has the Lee Lock in! Cid in trouble!”

Lyman: “Owen is cranking on the ankle!”

Cid yells in pain and reaches out, bridging up as Owen keeps the hold on. Cid moves a bit and tries to reach out to the ropes. Owen holds on and pulls him back as Demitra checks on Cid. Cid then bridges up and flips forward and Owen falls into Demitra, the two knocking heads. The crowd ohs as Owen rolls over, holding his head. Cid rolls over, holding his ankle. Demitra is down.

Sharper: “Owen….Cid got free, but Owen went into the referee!”

Lyman: “Both hurt!”

Knots: “Yeah. They may not be 100% going into Rise to Greatness after this clash!”

Cid turns and winces as Owen starts to get up. The crowd roars as we see Josh Hudson running down from the back. He holds his US Championship as Owen grabs at the ropes. The crowd boos loudly as Hudson rolls into the ring. Owen staggers up and Josh motions to him to get up. But as he does, Cid then runs at Hudson and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. He clotheslines Hudson up and over the top rope to the floor. Cid looks at him and stumbles over, down to the mat, clutching his ankle. As this happens, we see Holly Adams running to the ring, without her Housewives crew. She runs down to the ring and then slides in. She runs over and grabs Cid. He pulls him up, but Owen turns and sees this and then runs over and jumps up and dropkicks Holly down. Holly hits the mat and rolls to the floor.

Sharper: “Cid first helped Owen! Now Owen helping Cid!”

Lyman: “Both Hudson and Adams wanted to get that parting shot!”

Knots: “But look at the directness. No games. Holly just got in there. Got her hands dirty. Some quality coaching!”

Holly starts to get up on the apron as Owen and Cid look at one another and then nod before Hudson gets up onto the apron and Owen nails him off the apron again. Owen then climbs up to the top rope. The crowd erupts as Owen dives off with a twisting crossbody onto Hudson. The crowd roars. Demitra starts to get up as Cid grabs Holly and pulls her into the ring. He then stops as he looks at Holly. Cid says something to Holly, but Holly then forearms Cid back. Cid rolls over and gets up as Demitra calls for the bell, seeing this. The bell sounds as the crowd boos. Cid gets up and Holly then notices this and smiles.

Holly: “See! See! With me…you’re a winner! Without me-“

Owen then pulls himself into the ring as Holly sees this and backs up and rolls to the floor by the announce table.

Sharper: “Give me a break! Holly taking credit. Demitra only saw her getting involved. Not the way Owen or Cid wanted this to end. And you can see it.”

Knots: “That’s the problem. Success comes to those who want it. Not who want conditions! You listening Datura!”

Sharper: “Don’t mention that. Cid Turner annoyed. Holly Adams happy. Josh Hudson is still here!”

Lyman: “He’s debating taking a shot.”

Josh Hudson looks on as Cid apologizes to Owen. Holly throws her arm in the air, apparently enjoying her success. Hudson hops onto the apron and Cid points. Owen turns as Hudson is then pulled back by officials who come to the ring. The crowd looks on as Owen watches Holly as Holly continues to walk around the ring, proud.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as the Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen. We then see a still of the SCW World Championship before showing a shot of Adam Allocco, then a shot of Selena Frost, before showing both.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. We are almost done tonight, but we promised you one more thing. Tonight, Selena Frost and Adam Allocco, just over a week before they meet in the main event of Rise to Greatness, they’ll be face to face.”

Knots: “Yeah and they don’t like each other and Sharper, I heard you had something to do with this.”

Sharper: “That was indeed the case. Earlier tonight, I sat down with both Selena Frost and Adam Allocco. After Rise to Greatness, Adam Allocco made sure Selena was face to face with him. We end this road to Rise to Greatness with them face to face again.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We open backstage to see Adam Sharper seated between Adam Allocco and Selena Frost as they are being interviewed in one of the locker rooms backstage. We see the SCW World Championship and Selena Frost’s attire hung up behind Selena as Adam Allocco’s attire and merchandise is hung behind him.

Sharper: “Fans, at Rise to Greatness XIX we will see two individuals who have long histories of success in this sport and both whom have overcame some notable challenges. To my left is the challenger, Adam Allocco, the winner of the 2022 Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. To my right, the reigning and defending World Champion. In fact, the longest reigning World Champion in SCW History.”

Sharper looks at both.

Sharper: “Firstly Selena, we have not commented about that historic aspect to your reign and given your aims for the World Championship, what you feel it represents, this has to mean a lot to you.”

Selena: “It does Adam. Because for years this title was supposed to represent the best. But it became something that so many tried to win just to maintain their own aura. Consequences be damned. Do whatever you need to. Cheat to win. Take any shortcut. All that mattered was holding the World Championship. To me, the World Title is something much simpler.”

Selena pauses.

Selena: “It’s simply put representative of who is the best. Period. Who in that ring is the best wrestler in the world. Bell to bell. Through skill, through talent, through psychology. Through all of it.”

Allocco: “Is not taking a shortcut part of that though? Knowing what you can get away from?”

Selena: “Not if you’re skilled.”

Allocco: “You telling me that Sienna Swann, Bree Lancaster, Cid Turner…they aren’t skilled?”

Selena: “They could all be better.”

Allocco: “Syren? Ace Marshall? Do I need to go on? What about me, Selena?”

Sharper: “Well before we get to that, we need to say the one word that Selena, you’ve made this title about more than anything – integrity.”

Sharper turns to Selena.

Sharper: “Selena, what does that word mean to you?”

Selena: “In that context of the World Championship – that you carry it with respect, with pride, with honesty. And I know I have done that.”

Sharper: “And Adam? You say you have integrity too.”

Adam: “Damn right I do. To me integrity is about how you carry yourself. That you’re true to yourself, that you follow your heart and Selena, that’s where you and I have a problem. We don’t have the same moral compass. We don’t stand for the same things.”

Selena: “That was all the more clear going back to February of this year. I had hoped when you returned, you’d be a new man.”

Adam: “I may be overcoming addiction, Snow Queen, but as I said, I’m still an asshole. In fact, if I came out to the ring, smiling, happy to be there, aw shucks, I’m gonna go to Rise ta Greatness and golly-gee-wiz, going to give a good college try…Then I would be smacking you, me and everyone in this sport in the face. See that’s the difference between you and me. You think you owe them. I don’t.”

Selena: “Yeah, we’ve been through this. Some promoter you used to be.”

Adam: “And there you go. You have one set of principles and can’t see behind it. Was then Deanna right for kicking Kim last week in the chest? Was she threatened? Or did she just boil over?”

Selena: “Deanna had her reasons. But she is not me.”

Adam: “Did you admonish her? You seem to have no problem getting into other people’s issues? I saw it. Josh Hudson was going to tie my happy ass into a pretzel. I got involved the previous week because if anyone’s going to knock you off your perch, it’s me. You…”

Selena: “Because it was the decent thing to do.”

Adam: “Then why not help others? Why just me? See, Selena, all you’re doing is setting yourself up for an impossible task. The same impossible task you demand of everyone. That they follow your code. My code is simple…I do what I need to do to come out on top. If that means using a limited movelist to hide my strategy. If that means getting involved in your business to remind you I’m your focus. Great. If it means raking the eyes, or sending you into a barricade to make sure I walk out World Champion, great!”

Sharper: “Let’s jump off from there, Adam. You’ve also said this is something personal for you. It’s not only professional.”

Adam looks down and then looks up.

Adam: “Yeah…many reasons why. Where to start – how about the simple one. You’re doing history now Selena. I want history at Rise to Greatness. Three years my son won the World Title at Rise to Greatness. Taking on two more of the greatest ever, Syren and Glory. To say that Alistaire and I became the first father and son to win that title, at Rise to Greatness no less. Yeah…that would be special.”

Adam stops.

Adam: “But not only that…you mentioned February. Not even six months removed from rock bottom and I have a chance to hold a title I never have. At forty-five years old. Yeah, I’m no spring chicken. I was told that if I keep drinking, it’s over, not just my career, but everything. There’s a little bit of urgency, Selena. Hence why I call it like it is. I’m an asshole and I’m always going to be one, but I told you flat out…I am not done my recovery, my return, yet. That will happen when I win the World Title….however I have to.”

Sharper: “Selena-“

Selena: “And it’s a nice story.”

Selena cuts off Adam Sharper.

Selena: “I’m proud of you for having found help. For getting back on the right path. For avoiding screwing things up more. I don’t talk about it a lot, but I know the same issue too well. But while I controlled it, you went off the deep end. You were a joke, Adam. And that you’re sitting across from me and I’m not thinking about that joke, but I’m thinking about the man who competed at Taking Hold of the Flame and won the battle royal. Who yeah, showed skilled, by beating Deanna with a limited movelist. Who took it to Josh Hudson and Holly Adams. And yet…that’s why I’m all the more disappointed. We could be talking about how this could be the greatest main event ever. Two technical marvels going at it seeing who is the best. And you’ve flat out admitted you’ll take shortcuts, half ass if it helps, do what you need to do…you’re not any better than so many others.”

Adam: “Do I need to be, Selena? They were World Champions. They got the extra cheque for holding that title. They competed the same travel you have. They still had to beat some of the other suitors for the best.”

Sharper: “Selena, what does this come down to for you?”

Selena: “Comes down to just that attitude. I am the World Champion. I have spent 2022 restoring its prestige by ensuring that the person holding that title is not just the best in that ring…screw it! I know it sounds arrogant. I know some people are going to replay this time and time again. I can’t do anything right. I’m always trying to judge everyone. I’m a self-righteous bitch!”

Selena looks right at Adam, raising her voice a bit.

Selena: “No, Adam…call me whatever you want. I’m driven. And I know what I feel the World Champion should represent. The best in that ring and the best here”

Selena points to her heart.

Selena: “And no one has stopped me yet. And at Rise to Greatness, you’re going to have to find the end to your recovery somewhere else. It won’t be by winning the World Title. At Rise to Greatness, it’s going to be on your back, looking at the lights, and realizing you’re just not good enough.”

Sharper: “Adam?”

Adam: “Believe that…all you want, Selena. I am coming to Rise to Greatness to win the World Title. Adam Allocco, World Champion! And while people may come to see you compete against the best…people can come and watch to see if I’ll be dethroned from here on out. Because I’m going to be true to myself and come to Rise to Greatness to stop your reign. I’ll then enjoy the extra money, demand my own locker room, and hold that title with pride…the same pride you have. People can decide if they want to look up to me. I’m a recovering alcoholic. Heroic, huh? That’s up to them. To me…I want one thing…”

Adam then stands up and Selena does too. Sharper looks at both. Adam smirks and points at Selena’s World Championship.

Adam: “That. And I’m going to take it Selena. I need it, Selena. I need it more than you’ll ever understand.”

Selena: “If you believe it, you don’t know a damn thing about me.”
