A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Alexis Quinne hitting a standing shooting star press. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “On the Fourth of July, fireworks in the air as SCW rolls into Memphis!”

The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before cutting to the ringside area where Adam Sharper sits with Jonathan Knots at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. I’m Adam Sharper. He’s Jonathan Knots. And tonight, a big night. Bree Lancaster is going to find out who will face her at Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “Damn right. Eight individuals, single night tournament. Winner has to win three matches to earn the title shot. Adrenaline Title shot!”

Sharper: “And on top of that, Kirsten Scott and Kandis have been engaged in their own violence for their own means. They will deal with some of the consequences facing Body, Heart, and Soul in tag team action. Matthew Knox to face off against Chris Dumont. All this and more. Let’s kick things off!”

SCW Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament Quarterfinals

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

And the song continues...

The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Phillips: “The following contest is a quarterfinals match in the Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament and is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit. Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California…he is the All Star…Gavin Taylor!”

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

I cheated to get what I got
Stepped all over you self for my spot
I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not
I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor first out in this tournament. Was supposed to face Veronica Strader. Strader not cleared to compete tonight. Fall St. Patrick taking her spot.”

Knots: “Autumn Valentine just collapsing under all of this.”

Sharper: “Come on, Jon. We know Fall is Autumn-“

Knots: “No we don’t. We’ve seen both in recent weeks.”

Sharper: “Stop it!”

A woman’s voice can be heard as the video screens display the words she's saying in unison.

"Lexy Chapel Proudly Presents"

“FALL ST. PATRICK!”

Then a terribly remixed version of “Miss Nothing” by the Pretty Reckless plays as the cameras cut to the stage. We then see what looks obviously to be Lexy Chapel dressed in Autumn’s gear but wearing a green mask with a four-leafed clover on it. An unknown individual walks out, holding a lanyard and showing off Fall St. Patrick.

Phillips: “And their opponent, Lexy Chapel proudly presents, from Dublin, Ireland, she is Fall St. Patrick!”

Fall St. Patrick heads down to the ring, seemingly hiding some annoyance, as Lexy Chapel follows after her. Fall hops onto the apron and enters the ring. She then heads over to the ropes and steps up and looks around. She then drops down as Lexy keeps showing her off.

Sharper: “Fall St. Patrick out here just with Lexy. So where’s Autumn?”

Knots: “She’s angry! Probably going to be a distraction!”

Sharper: “This should be a good match nonetheless. Our first quarterfinals match and to remind you all at home, every match in this tournament will take place tonight.”

The bell sounds as Fall and Gavin circle the ring. They lunge at one another and Fall drops down around Gavin and into a side headlock. She turns and hits a headlock takedown. She moves back as Gavin turns and slowly gets up. Fall then grabs the arm and wrenches it before snapmaring Gavin over. Gavin rolls through and Fall backs up and then watches him as Gavin starts to get up and Fall grabs the arm again and wrenches his arm again before Gavin then counters by pulling her back and into the corner. Fall turns, back hitting the corner. Gavin then chops her. The crowd woos. Gavin then grabs her and whips her across the ring. Fall hits the opposite corner and Gavin runs after. Fall gets a boot up, but Gavin catches it. He shakes his finger and then pulls her out by the leg and throws it up, causing Fall to land on the back of her head.

Sharper: “Gavin just dumping Fall St. Patrick on the back of her head!”

Knots: “Not going to make her Autumn either!”

Fall rolls over and Gavin clubs her in the back. He spins her around and places her against the ropes before firing her across. Fall bounces off and Gavin hits a back elbow. He turns and hits an elbow drop. The crowd cheers a bit as Gavin goes for the pin.

Fall St. Patrick kicks out. She turns and gets up and Gavin hits a forearm shiver. Fall staggers back. Gavin hits another. He grabs Fall and whips her across the ring. Fall bounces off and hits the corner. Gavin runs after and Autumn hits a back kick. Gavin staggers back and Fall jumps to the middle turnbuckle, dives back, twisting in the air and taking Gavin down with a sunset flip.

Gavin kicks out. Both get up and Fall hits a dropkick. Gavin hits the mat and rolls over to the ropes.

Sharper: “Nice dropkick as Fall St. Patrick turning things around.”

Knots: “Gavin almost went to the floor. That won’t help you here.”

Sharper: “This tournament is also under Adrenaline rules meaning no countouts on the floor.”

Gavin uses the ropes to get up and Fall runs over and chops Gavin. She then kicks him in the ribs once and then again and again before jumping to the middle rope and hitting a jumping enziguri kick. Gavin falls over to the mat. The crowd ohs. Lexy applauds as Gavin stirs as Fall grabs him and pulls him out and snapmares him over before running into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a sliding clothesline. She goes for the pin.

Gavin kicks out. He turns and slowly gets up as Fall goes over and grabs him and goes to pull him back, but Gavin spins around before hoisting Fall up and back dropping her. She gets up and Gavin then hits a dropkick. Fall falls through the ropes to the apron.

Sharper: “Gavin with a dropkick of his own. Fall on the apron.”

Knots: “She may be about to have a nice fall if Gavin does what I think he may!”

Fall starts to get up and Gavin turns and instead of knocking her off, pulls her in and hits the Cubic Zirconium Cutter. The crowd ohs. Gavin pulls her in and hooks the leg.

Fall gets her shoulder up. Gavin rolls off and gets up and stomps Fall in the face and then again and again. Fall rolls over. Gavin walks over and grabs her and pulls her up. He then hits a scoop slam. Gavin moves to the corner and pulls himself up to the middle turnbuckle. He dives off with a forward elbow drop. He goes for another pin.

Fall gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and Gavin grabs her and pulls her up and whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Gavin scoops her up on the rebound and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The crowd ohs. Gavin goes for the pin.

Fall kicks out again.

Sharper: “Taylor in control here. Gavin Taylor looking to earn a shot to the Adrenaline Championship. First match of the quarterfinals here.”

Knots: “But this is what Chapel and Fall want. They-no…they need this!”

Fall rolls over and Gavin grabs her and pulls her up and knees her in the ribs. He then whips her into the ropes. Fall bounces off and Gavin hits a back drop. Fall slowly gets up and Gavin runs into the ropes, bounces off and goes for the Gavin Taylor Lariat. Fall ducks. The crowd ohs and Gavin stops at the ropes, turning around and hits a spinning back kick to Gavin, knocking him down. Fall backs up and then drills him with a thrust kick to the face. Gavin goes down. Fall for the pin.

Gavin gets his shoulder up. He rolls over and moves to the corner. Fall gets up and walks around ands runs at Gavin and hits a running double high knee to Gavin. She bounces off and Gavin staggers out and Fall with a running facebuster.

Sharper: “Facebuster! Gavin in trouble! Fall St. Patrick going for the pin!”

Fall goes for the pin.

Gavin gets his shoulder up.

Knots: “And Chapel still can’t count to three yet tonight!”

Gavin rolls over as Fall gets up. She grabs Gavin and runs him into the corner. Gavin turns and looks up as the crowd erupts and Veronica Strader walks out from the back, a ticked off look on her face. We notice her fists are taped and there’s blood on one of them. Lexy turns and sees her.

Chapel: “Oh…uh…FALL! Fal…wait…Autumn! Oh God! AUTUMN!”

Fall turns at this point, whether from being called her name, or Autumn’s, or is that her name? Fall doesn’t get much chance to figure out why as Taylor kicks her in the ribs. Fall staggers back and Gavin Taylor steps up and places her head between her legs.

Sharper: “Fall St. Patrick, caught by Gavin-“

Knots: “Veronica Strader! Look at her fists!”

Sharper: “She went after someone! Blood on her fist! And Lexy just figured that out!”

Taylor hoists her up onto his shoulder and hits the Highlight of the Night. The crowd ohs. Taylor turns and hooks the leg.

The bell sounds. Gavin rolls off and gets up. The official raises his arm. Lexy Chapel turns to the ring and then back to Veronica Strader who continues to just slowly head to the ring. She then reaches it and pulls herself up.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Gavin Taylor!”

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor takes advantage of Fall turning to Lexy-“

Knots: “Strader just hit the ring! Fall is down! Oh God! Lexy!”

Sharper: “And this should’ve been Veronica Strader’s spot!”

Strader enters the ring and Fall stirs only for Strader to run over and dives onto her and nail her with hard rights and lefts. The crowd roars as Strader sees red, mounting Fall to keep her down and keeps attacking. The bell sounds again. Gavin looks at this and backs up and exits the ring.

Sharper: “Strader teeing off on Fall St. Patrick!”

Knots: “Why? She’s innocent!”

Sharper: “Don’t you start there! We know Lexy’s had Autumn under a mask. And her actions last week leading to this!” “

Strader nails Fall over and over as the bells sounds again. Lexy yells at her to get off of her as Strader looks down at her.

Strader: “Was this wroth it?!”

Strader gets up as we see Ravyn Taylor and Syren jogging down from the back. Strader sees this and gets up and steps back, ready to fight them. The bell sounds again as Fall struggles on the mat, rolling to her side. Syren runs over and grabs at her and pulls her out of the ring. Veronica Strader looks on as Ravyn watches her and Lexy Chapel heads over to Fall and then turns and runs to the back in a hurry. The camera follows her.

Sharper: “Lexy Chapel just bolting…what is going on?”

Knots: “Veronica Strader got Autumn!”

Sharper: “That’s Fall!”

Chapel heads to the back as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, Destiny Page stands with Scott Reed who looks more frustrated than anything, while seated on a storage crate.

Page: “I’m Destiny Page here with Scott Reed and Scott, it’s been a wild last month a bit for you. Nearly became US champion. A wild brawl against Kirsten Scott. You’ve had a ceasefire with her in recent weeks, but that seems to have moved on as both of you have had your moments stopped and-“

Reed: “Like it will matter…Syren’s getting involved.”

Reed shakes his head.

Reed: “I’ve wanted to face Kirsten Scott since I returned to the ring. She ended by career before and now, Syren for some reason is interested. And she’s a bigger star. Always has been.”

Reed sighs.

Reed: “I can’t compete with that. Xander and Syren….and Scott Reed. One of these things aint like the others.”

Page: “You’re not going to just step aside, are you?”

Reed looks at Page.

Reed: “I don’t know how. I’ll just keep doing what I think is right. But…let’s just say that right now…I don’t know what awaits me.”

Reed steps up and walks off as Breakdown cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see the SCW trainer standing off to the side, hands on his hips, as Dean Black comes into the scene. Lexy Chapel is yelling out.

Chapel: “Protect her looks! THAT THUG HURT AUTUMN!”

Chapel is standing over a downed person as we see Syren, Ravyn and Fall St. Patrick, who can be seen bleeding from her lip, standing down the hallway.

Syren: “Lexy-“

Chapel: “Hold on…I’m…MY WIFE HAS BEEN HURT!”

Chapel pulls away, ripping something before we see a really haphazard bandage job covering the face of who is apparently Autumn Valentine. Chapel throws the bundle of bandages at the trainer, who doesn’t even try to catch it, the wad falling to the floor.

Chapel: “HOW DARE SHE ATTACK HER? AND FALL? The Adrenaline Championship was going to be ours!”

Syren: “Ravyn still-“

Chapel: “IS THE DEVIL! This was for Fall! And…She ruined it. And RUINED HER!”

Syren looks around.

Syren: “Let the trainer look at her-“

Chapel: “No! No! No more intervention from SCW. Who messed this all up just when my dad could have named her in the tournament, or better yet, a challenger from the start. WE will get the better medical care.”

Chapel helps “Autumn” up as she grimaces and goes to say something.

Chapel: “No need to speak. Syren! Ravyn! Help me!”

Ravyn sighs and heads over as Syren does too.

Trainer: “You know-“

Ravyn: “I’d recommend waiting before approaching her with logic.”

Syren then helps Lexy with “Autumn” as they start to help her away. Fall St. Patrick just shakes her head and follows a few strides behind as Ravyn is in front of her.

David Striker vs. Chris Lawler

SCW Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament Quarterfinals

The lights dim as the strobe lights flash. The crowd’s murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of “Warrior” by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers. A few moments pass before a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

Phillips: “The following contest is a quarterfinals match in the Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Nashville, Tennessee, he is Chris Lawler!”

Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits. As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in the arena lights. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps. He enters the ring and looks around. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens.

Sharper: “Chris Lawler hoping to rebound here and get back into the win column. Both of these two, him and Striker, shown a lot of potential in recent months. Only one can move on.”

Knots: “Maybe we’ll see the Lawler Cutter tonight?”

Sharper: “Maybe. I think Lawler is hoping for more than that. Especially in his home state! Lawler calls Nashville home.”

“Man in the Box” by Like a Storm plays and the crowd roars. A few moments pass before David Striker walks out from the back and scans the arena. He then nods a bit as he turns to the ring and looks at his opponent. He then starts to head to the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Cameron, North Carolina, he is Bam Bam David Striker!”

The crowd roars as Striker heads to the ring and slides into the ring. He gets up to a knee and looks around before getting up to his feet. He then turns and runs into the ropes, before sticking his upper body under and out from the top rope, getting a louder reaction.

Sharper: “Striker has been impressing. Showcasing his ability, his fearlessness, his drive.”

Knots: “Now has to make it all come together into some wins.”

The bell sounds. Striker and Lawler circle the ring and then lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Lawler turns into a side headlock. Striker reaches around and then pulls him into the ropes and fires him off. Lawler bounces off and Striker steps up and Lawler shoulders him down. He runs into the ropes. Striker rolls toward Lawler. Lawler hops over and he bounces off the other side. Striker gets up and nails Lawler with a hard right and then another. Lawler falls into the ropes and Striker whips Lawler across. Lawler bounces off and Striker runs at him and nails him with a double chop to the jaw. Lawler hits the mat. He rolls over and gets up and Striker kicks him in the ribs. Striker then nails him with another hard right.

Sharper: “Hard right hands. Striker living up to his surname. Hard strikes on Lawler!”

Knots: “Lawler better quickly reconsider his plan. Start throwing bombs himself!”

Striker then whips Lawler across the ring. Lawler hits the opposite corner. Striker runs after and Lawler gets an elbow up. Striker stumbles off and turns around and Lawler steps up and nails him with a haymaker. Striker hits the mat. He gets up and Lawler kicks him in the ribs, hooks his head and arm and hits a vertical suplex. Lawler floats over.

Striker kicks out. Lawler gets up as Striker moves to the ropes. Lawler follows up with a kick to the ribs. He then whips Striker across the ring. Striker bounces off and Lawler boots him in the face. He turns and hits a leg drop. He goes for the pin.

Striker kicks out again. He turns and Lawler grabs him again and runs him face first into the nearby top turnbuckle. Lawler then kicks him in the ribs and steps out, pulling him out and into his arms who hits an overhead belly to belly suplex. Lawler moves over into another pin.

Sharper: “And another pin attempt! Lawler trying to overwhelm Striker!”

Striker kicks out. He rolls over and gets up and Lawler chops him. He then goes to whip him across the ring, but Striker spins through and sends Lawler in. Lawler hits the ropes, but holds on. Striker runs after and Lawler steps up and lifts him up and hits a hot shot. Striker falls back. Lawler rolls through for another pin.

Striker kicks out again. Lawler rolls off and turns and grabs Striker. Striker suddenly hits a jawbreaker. Lawler staggers back and Striker then steps up and hits a shotei. Lawler falls through the ropes and to the floor. Lawler staggers back. Striker then smirks before running across the ring, bouncing off and then launching himself over the top rope with a huge dive and right onto Lawler. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “And David Striker takes flight! Clearing the top rope! And right onto Lawler!”

Knots: “We’ve seen him do it a few times and Striker decided it’s time to fly!”

Lawler turns, wincing as Striker rolls over. Striker gets up and grabs Lawler as the crowd roars and Striker then runs Lawler shoulder first into the steel steps. The crowd ohs. Lawler falls over and down. Striker grabs Lawler as a “Lawler” chant breaks out. Striker rolls him into the ring. Lawler rolls over and stirs as Striker gets into the ring and grabs Lawler, pulling him up and hooking him up before hitting the Bad Moon Rising. Striker turns and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits the Viva la BAM. The crowd ohs. Striker goes for the pin.

Lawler gets his shoulder up. Lawler rolls over and Striker gets up and waits. Lawler gets to his feet, but Striker grabs him from behind in a half nelson and then hoists him up, dropping him with the Hard Justice into a bridge.

Lawler gets his shoulder up and rolls over.

Sharper: “Oh that was close! The Hard Justice with the bridge and Lawler just barely got that shoulder up.”

Knots: “And that wears on you. Now he’s in overdrive. Now he’s probably thinking desperately.”

Lawler rolls over and Striker clubs him in the back once and then again and again before elbowing him in the back of the head. Striker shoves Lawler into the ropes and Lawler bounces off and Striker drills him with a forearm shot and then spinning back fist. Lawler staggers and Striker runs across the ring, bounces off and Lawler suddenly hoists him up into a military press. The crowd roars and Lawler instead drops him with the Fury Suplex. The crowd ohs and some boo. Lawler gets up and walks around as a “Lawler Cutter!” chant begins. Lawler looks around and smirks before he exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope. Lawler looks at Striker who winces in pain and Lawler dives off with the Air Assault. He turns and hooks the leg.

Striker gets his shoulder up. Lawler looks up and then grabs Striker. He slowly pulls him up and then scoops him up, but Striker lands behind Lawler. Lawler turns and Striker kicks him in the ribs, lifts him up in a cradle and hits the Monster Mash. He stays down for the pin.

Lawler gets his shoulder up. The crowd roars. Striker falls back and rolls over. Both get up, crawling to the opposite corners. Striker gets up first and runs at Lawler and Lawler just sidesteps and grabs his head, flipping him back first into the corner. The crowd ohs. Striker rolls over and leans on the ropes. Lawler moves to the middle of the ring.

Sharper: “Hard landing in the corner. Striker flipped into the corner. Almost landed on his head.”

Knots: “There’s that desperation, but it hit big. And Striker may be hurt!”

Striker rolls over and slowly gets up and Lawler grabs him and places his head between his legs. He then hoists him up for the Impact Driver, but Striker slides down and grabs Lawler, bending him back before pulling him back for the Equivalent Exchange. The crowd ohs. Striker turns and hooks the leg.

The bell sounds. Striker rolls off and looks at Lawler as Lawler holds his jaw in pain.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, David Striker.”

Knots: “Not the return home for Lawler, huh?”

Sharper: “Almost moving on. Striker and Lawler in their chess match and sadly only one can move on. Striker getting the win. Hitting the Equivalent Exchange and we will see who awaits him in the second round later tonight!”

Striker gets up and raises his arm. He looks out at the crowd and then leans on the ropes. He holds up one finger, reflecting his first win in the tournament, before he turns and drops down to the floor. Lawler holds his jaw in pain as the scene cuts away.

Sharper: “Now let’s go backstage where Jaina Lancaster is standing by with Polly Pingotti.”

Jaina: “Thank you Adam-“

Polly: “Jaina, I’m sorry to cut you off, but frankly, I just need to get something off my chest.”

Jaina: “Of course…go ahead.”

Jaina hands Polly the microphone and steps back as Polly turns to the camera.

Polly: “Everyone probably has seen the last few weeks. They’ve not been the results I’ve wanted, but worse – one week I get attacked by a chair because I have the audacity to want to WIN. Last week, I end the show with the two people fighting for the World Championship standing over me as if I wasn’t even there. The old Polly may have just accepted it, seen it as something to motivate her down the road. Even turned it into a game. All it did is remind me how little respect I still have. Polly looks at the camera.

Polly: “And I think Josh for taking on my challenge. But that’s as far as my respect goes. Not after last week. Not after two weeks ago. I am not someone you stand over! I am someone you fight to overcome, if you can. And that’s the change around here. And one way or another, all of those who are stepping over me…they’re going to regret it. Because I’m coming for them!”

Polly turns and thrusts the microphone back at Jaina. Jaina takes it as Polly storms off.

Jaina: “Breakdown will return after this…”

The scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Chris Lawler returning to his locker room. He walks in, throwing an elbow pad down to the ground in disappointment. He walks forward as he then see a manila envelope on his bags. He looks around before heading over to it. He grabs it and turns it around and undoes the string before looking inside. Inside, he slides out what appears to be some papers and photos. Lawler sits down before pulling out one.

Lawler: “Not fun when someone goes through your past…We all have secrets.”

Lawler looks around, his demeanour changing.

Lawler: “Who left this?”

Lawler calls out. Derek Adonis and Chris Dumont who are in the room. Both just say nothing.

Lawler: “No one saw it?”

Lawler then slides the contents back in and leans back. He then looks around, seemingly viewing everyone in the room with suspicious before we cut away.

Konrad Raab vs. Marie Jones

SCW Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament Quarterfinals

Phillips: “The following contest is a quarterfinals match in the Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Phoenix, Marie Jones!”

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the arena. Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring. As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story. Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring. She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd.

Sharper: “Marie Jones is hoping to get a redo of Taking Hold of the Flame. If she can run the table tonight, she can do that and get a rematch against Bree Lancaster.”

Knots: “They had a hell of a match. Lancaster just a bit better. Going after the knee all match. Marie slowed down by it. Tonight, she’ll have to first get through a very angry Konrad Raab.”

‘Feuer Frei’ by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace in the air, wearing red and black skull face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands. Ginny Raab walks out behind him. Raab crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Cologne, Germany, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos. Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes, while Ginny walks up the stairs and gets in the ring with Konrad. As he's in the ring, Konrad, without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, with Ginny taking Konrad's flanged German mace away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head as Ginny leaves the ring and goes backstage.

Sharper: “Konrad wants Shaun Cruze. That’s not going to happen. Cruze not under contract. Retired. Konrad opened himself up to what happened a few weeks ago.”

Knots: “He should refocus. Use that to motivate him. Go after the Adrenaline Title. Earn some SCW gold!”

The bell sounds and before Marie can even react, Konrad Raab runs across and nails Marie with a hard right and then another and another. Marie falls back into the corner. The crowd boos. Raab then grabs Marie and hits a hard European uppercut. Marie’s head snaps back and Raab hits another European uppercut. Marie staggers out and Raab grabs her by the head and walks out with her before turning and blasting her with a hard right. Marie hits the mat. Raab then hits an elbow drop before going for the pin.

Marie kicks out. She rolls over and Raab gets up, pulling her up by the hair. Raab runs across and throws her hard into the corner.

Sharper: “Raab, extremely aggressive here.”

Knots: “Guess that Raab either doesn’t care for Marie, or this is just what he feels towards Kim! I don’t know if Raab knows or cares about the difference!”

Raab kicks her in the ribs once and then again and again. Marie slowly slinks down from the impact. Konrad stomps away over and over. The official calls for the break.

Raab turns back and walks around the ring and runs at Marie and hits a running knee. The crowd ohs. Raab grabs Marie and pulls her out and then Raab spins her around. He sets up for the Burn Pin, but Marie blocks it and elbows him in the jaw once and then again and again before then pushing off and hitting the Pele kick. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Marie fighting out. That backflip kick. Caught Raab right in the top of the head!”

Knots: “Bought some time, some space. But now need to do more than that!”

Marie crawls to the ropes. She winces as Raab starts to get up. Marie then runs at him and jumps up and hits a flying headscissors. Raab rolls through. He gets back up and steps up to Marie who hits a dropkick. Raab hits the mat before Marie jumps to the ropes and hits the Divine Impact. She hooks the leg.

Raab pushes her off. She rolls away and gets up as Raab turns, moving to his knees. Marie kicks him in the chest before then backing up and going for a spinning kick to the head. Raab ducks and then grabs Marie and hits a release German suplex. The crowd ohs. Marie rolls through and moves to the corner. Raab gets up and runs at her and goes for a running diving European uppercut, but Marie moves out of the way. Raab hits the corner and steps out and Marie runs at him and jumps up and hits a tornado DDT. She turns and hooks the leg.

Raab kicks out.

Sharper: “Nearfall as Marie got all of that tornado DDT.”

Knots: “And she’s at least stopped Raab’s unabated hatred of everything from mauling her to death.”

Raab slowly rolls over and moves to the ropes. He grabs them and gets up and Marie turns and runs at him and jumps up and hits a crossbody, taking him up and over the top rope. Marie however holds on as they go over, and ends up on the apron. Raab rolls over on the floor. He slowly gets up and Marie jumps to the middle rope and hits an asai moonsault onto Raab on the floor, both hitting the barricade before falling to the mats. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Marie landing hard. Legs hit the barricade. She seems okay.”

Knots: “Raab took the worst of it!”

Marie rolls over and gets up and Raab turns. Marie grabs him and hooks him up and hits a Russian leg sweep into the ring apron. The crowd ohs again. Raab grimaces and Marie turns and rolls him into the ring. Marie slides in after. Raab slowly gets up and Marie then runs into the ropes. She jumps to the middle rope and backflips back, but Raab then moves forward, handspringing into the ropes and Marie lands on her feet and steps up only to get caught by the Fire Storm. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Marie missed! Raab into the ropes! Fire Storm!”

Knots: “Marie was planted!”

Raab turns and rolls her over, moving into a lateral press.

Marie gets her shoulder up. Marie rolls over, holding her face as Raab gets up and grabs her. He slowly pulls her up and then hits another European uppercut. Marie hits the mat. Raab turns and exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope, looking down at Marie. He steadies himself before diving off, going for a frog splash, but Marie rolls out of the way. Konrad hits the mat hard, chest first. He slowly pops up and winces. Marie runs past him and jumps to the middle rope, backflips back and catches his head before hitting a reverse DDT. The crowd roars. Marie rolls over to the corner. She slowly starts to get up as Raab rolls over, holding his head and neck.

Sharper: “Marie Jones planting Raab with the reverse DDT!”

Knots: “Marie looks to be setting up! Ave Maria, maybe?”

Raab gets up and Marie heads to him and grabs him and hits the Ave Maria. The crowd ohs. Marie rolls him over and hooks the leg.

The bell sounds as Marie rolls off.

Phillips: “Konrad Raab, maybe too aggressive, and Marie Jones takes advantage. Ave Maria! And she moves on to face Gavin Taylor!”

Knots: “Raab thought Marie could be a stand in for Cruze, but no dice!”

Sharper: “And Marie Jones is a step closer to getting her rematch. And that could be huge for her path to redemption!”

Marie Jones gets up and has her arm raised. She looks around and nods, moving to the ropes. She nods and looks around as the scene cuts away to the announce position.

Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots look at the camera.

Sharper: “Three have advanced so far in the tournament. Marie Jones and Gavin Taylor will meet in a rematch of their contendership match a month and a half ago. And we saw David Striker defeat Chris Lawler. He’ll face either Ravyn Taylor or YUYO, whoever walks out.”

Knots: “You think Lexy is going to be more focused?”

Knots then glances at his phone as Sharper continues.

Sharper: “That may be one option. We saw her already frantically trying to help Autumn. There’s some more wrinkles there, whatever we want to think there…”

Knots then shows Sharper his phone. Sharper glances over.

Sharper: “Wait…that confirmed?”

Knots: “Just saying…”

Sharper: “Sorry about that folks, some news coming across. Industry sources saying there was n incident at Impact Media, Shaun Cruze’s production company.”

Knots: “We just saw Konrad Raab, so…”

Sharper: “Maybe just a coincidence. But anyway, Breakdown will continues after this. Our final quarterfinals match in our Adrenaline Contendership Tournament will be next!”

A panning shot of the crowd follows before Breakdown cuts to commercial.

Breakdown returns as we see Leroy Adams walking into the building, his bags over his shoulder. The crowd cheers him.

Sharper: “And there you see Leroy Adams, driving himself to the building and on a night he’s not scheduled to complete.”

Knots: “Fans literally paid to get him here. He’s only paid per scheduled appearance.”

Sharper: “About six hours from where he calls home. He felt it would be a good idea to come here. And fans helped him. Let’s see what he does!”

Ravyn Taylor vs. Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO

SCW Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament Quarterfinals

The camera cuts to the crowd where we see a group of red-shirted security walking in through one of the ground-level entrances. They line up in front of the fans for a moment and seem to be holding them back. Then the lights go out leaving the arena in complete darkness. The screen fills with images of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural address.

“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is—”

There’s a record scratch before a deep voice fills the arena.

“INFAMOUS!”

The opening of “Open Your Eyes” by Guano Apes hits the PA system.

“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”

The song gets stuck on the word and is then interrupted by the deep sound of the voice of Marilyn Manson.

“Just lay your head in daddy’s lap
You’re a bad girl!”

“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as we cut to the backstage. We see Ravyn Taylor walking the corridors, accompanied by Syren. We can hear the reaction from the live crowd as we follow the trio walking backstage. We then cut to the shot of the doorway again where we see Ravyn Taylor walk through. She pauses, a smirk on her face for a moment, before beginning to walk to the ring.

We follow the group as they make their way down toward ringside, with security keeping fans back in the aisles. Ravyn doesn’t seem at all distracted by the noise and movement of people around her however, keeping her eyes focused on the ring. She gets to the barricade she grabs hold of a chair that’s unused by a standing fan and pushes it up to the railing before stepping on the chair and then on the barricade to jump down on the other side.

Phillips: “The following contest is a quarterfinals match in the Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. Introducing, representing ‘Lexy Chapel Presents Dark Fantasy’, accompanied by Lexy Chapel and Syren, hailing from Hell, Michigan, she is a BAD, BAD GIRL, this is RAVYN TAYLOR!”

Ravyn steps up the ring steps, pausing for a moment before encouraging Jason Phillips to walk over toward her. She points to the ropes, telling him to sit on the middle rope to lower it for her. He hesitates before doing exactly that, and she responds by vaulting over the top rope and just smirking at him. She then casually removes her jacket, tossing it into the corner before climbing the turnbuckles on the left camera side and looking out toward the camera.

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor out here with Syren. No Lexy Chapel.”

Knots: “Probably firmly in Fall St. Patrick’s corner. Even within LexyCorp there are issues! Then again, Lexy never has liked Ravyn.”

Sharper: “You wonder if any of that will change tonight depending on how matches turn out.”

The arena darkens before:

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan

The Nyan cat appears on the screen, with the crowd popping. The cat in a poptart, farting rainbows steers around and breaks right into the screen, showing a window crack before breaking. At that moment, “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL’s opening riffs plays, and the girls' voice count:

One-Two-Three-Four!

Out pops YUYO from behind the curtains. Bright white light now shines down on the stage, following YUYO. Mister Meowkazawa follows her to stand behind her. A moment later, her fellow Shining Maidens of SCW members join her as well. NEMO and SAWA pose at either side of YUYO. YUYO steps up to the top of the ramp and places her hands on her hips. Meowkazawa hands her the magical staff, Gríðarvölr. She spins the staff around with a display of talent, the long purple and white ribbons attached to the staff’s end flash. When she stops, she thrusts one hand forward while holding the staff behind her back.

YUYO: “HA!”

Phillips: “Her opponent, accompanied by the Shining Maidens, descending from the sea of stars above, the Guardian of Love, Justice and Peace— Magical Cosmic Princess, YUYO!”

YUYO springs down the ramp, staff in hand, she tosses it into the ring as she slides in under the bottom rope. She pops to her feet, picks up the staff again in a single stride, and then straight to the corner. She holds the staff like a gun and aims towards the ceiling, “BANG! BANG!”. Mr. Meowkazawa catches up to her, taking the staff while she remains in the corner. She points to the sky, “FOREVER!”. SAWA echoes YUYO's call while NEMO stands stoically off to the side. YUYO runs to the next corner and repeats, “FOREVER!”. She hops off the corner with a superhero landing! She then puts on a “mean” face as she readies for the match.

Sharper: “And then you have Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO – totally different from Ravyn.”

Knots: “Or maybe the same?”

Sharper: “How do you figure?”

Knots: “Uh…both stand for their own idea of justice?”

Sharper: “Uh-huh.”

YUYO looks at Ravyn Taylor as the bell sounds. They step out and YUYO puffs out her cheeks and puts her hands on her hips before warning Ravyn.

YUYO: “No tricks! YUYO too smart for you-“

Ravyn just waves her off before then suddenly going for a right hand. YUYO goes to block, but Ravyn drops down and spins around into a school boy.

YUYO kicks out. Both get up and Ravyn hits an arm drag and holds on. YUYO reaches around and Ravyn holds on as both get up to their feet and Ravyn then reaches over, grabbing YUYO by the hair and spins her into the corner. Ravyn then forearms her in the jaw once and then again before grabbing YUYO’s head and runs it along the top rope. YUYO yells out and drops to a knee.

YUYO: “Ahhhh! I’m blind! I’M BLIND! LOVE IS DEAD! JUSTICE GONE!”

Ravyn looks at her and scoffs before walking over to her and YUYO then turns and falls back, kneeing Ravyn in the side of the head. Ravyn falls over to the ropes. YUYO smiles.

YUYO: “HA! FOOLED YOU!”

Ravyn looks up and YUYO then jumps up and runs over and stomps Ravyn in the stomach.

Sharper: “And YUYO offers her own mind games.”

Knots: “What world am I living in?”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but YUYO stomping on Ravyn Taylor!”

Ravyn covers up as YUYO gets a couple more shots in and then runs across the ring. She bounces off and hits a running dropkick to Ravyn, knocking her under the bottom rope and to the floor. YUYO then turns and climbs up to the top rope. Ravyn slowly starts to get up to her feet. She looks around and turns and YUYO dives off with a crossbody off the top rope, taking Ravyn down. The crowd roars. YUYO rolls through and then jumps up, posing. She turns around and grabs Ravyn. She drags her up and turns and rolls her into the ring. YUYO rolls into the ring after and jumps up and hits a splash onto Ravyn. She hooks the leg.

Ravyn kicks out. Both women get up and Ravyn backs up to the corner. YUYO follows up and Ravyn quickly thumbs her eye. She then spins YUYO around and chops her in the corner. The crowd woos. Ravyn chops her again and then grabs her and snapmares her out. YUYO rolls through and gets up. She does and Ravyn quickly grabs the arm and wrenches it before then elbowing her in the back of the head.

Sharper: “Ravyn has no problem bending the rules. We saw it right there. Thumb to the eye turning it around for her.”

Knots: “Just don’t let YUYO complain like she did!”

Ravyn whips YUYO into the ropes. YUYO bounces off and Ravyn hits a drop toe hold. She then gets up and hits a knee to the back of YUYO’s head. YUYO holds her head in pain and Ravyn rolls her over for the pin.

YUYO kicks out. She turns and starts to get up. Ravyn follows up with a kick to the ribs. She then hooks her up in a gutwrench and hoists her up before dropping her across her knee. The crowd ohs. Ravyn throws her down and goes for another pin.

YUYO kicks out. She rolls over to the ropes as Ravyn follows up and grabs her. She drags her up and forearms her in the jaw before whipping her across the ring. YUYO bounces off and Ravyn goes for a clothesline. YUYO slides under it. Ravyn turns and YUYO hits a spinning heel kick. Ravyn hits them at. She starts to get up and YUYO runs her into the corner. YUYO then kicks her in the ribs and then climbs to the middle rope, kissing Ravyn on the forearm.

YUYO: “For Justice!”

YUYO then hits the Kiss of Justice. Ravyn falls out of the corner. YUYO goes for the pin.

Knots: “For Justice, Sharper!”

Sharper: “And for a spot in the semifinals too!”

Ravyn kicks out. YUYO gets up and grabs her and elbows her in the head before whipping her into the ropes. Ravyn bounces off and YUYO hits a dropkick. YUYO gets up and dances a bit, doing a spin. She then goes for a running shooting star press, but Ravyn gets her knees up. The crowd ohs. YUYO pops up and spins around. Ravyn runs into the ropes, bouncing off and then running to the bent over YUYO and hitting the Survival Instinct. The crowd ohs. Ravyn hooks the leg.

YUYO gets her shoulder up. Ravyn rolls off.

Sharper: “Nearfall as Ravyn drove her into the mat. Only two though.”

Knots: “Ravyn’s already plotted at least sixty ways to try and get that three.”

Ravyn gets up as YUYO slowly gets up and Ravyn runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting the Bust of Pallas. YUYO falls to the mat. Ravyn grabs her and pulls her up. She then double underhooks her. She hoists her up and goes for the Natural Selection, but YUYO yells out, kicking her legs and drops down. Ravyn tries again and YUYO does the same. She then tries a third time, but YUYO gets her arm free and spins out. She then hits a stunner on Ravyn. Ravyn falls to the ropes. She winces and turns back and YUYO locks in the Cub Hug. She keeps squeezing, nuzzling into Ravyn before starting to pinch her nose, pretending Ravyn smells as Syren shakes her head. Ravyn notices this as YUYO keeps playing this up and Ravyn then bites YUYO’s forehead. YUYO yells out. The official warns Ravyn. Ravyn shrugs before then hitting a European uppercut on YUYO. YUYO drops to the mat.

Sharper: “YUYO maybe trying too hard to play to the crowd or to be cutesy-“

Knots: “You don’t do that against Ravyn Taylor. And Ravyn made her pay. And found out that YUYO may be tasty.”

Sharper: “I’m not even going to touch that.”

Ravyn grabs YUYO and pulls her up to her feet. Ravyn then whips her into the corner. YUYO staggers out and Ravyn Taylor jumps up and goes for the Evolutionary Synthesis, but as Ravyn goes to hit it, YUYO pushes off and cartwheels out of it. Ravyn hits the mat and turns, almost impressed as YUYO then extends his arms.

YUYO: “EXPLO-“

The pink Japanese and English lettering, spelling EXPLOSION, appear on the screen, only for Ravyn to nail her in the ribs with a shot. SAWA and NEMO go to hop up. The lettering quickly disappears and they hop down. Ravyn then grabs YUYO and whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Ravyn grabs YUYO and takes her over inti an inside cradle, but YUYO manages to shift her way, and cinches it in further!

The bell sounds and the crowd roars. Ravyn turns and looks over as YUYO rolls over and jumps up and down.

Sharper: “I don’t believe it! The biggest upset of the tournament so far! YUYO just beat Ravyn Taylor!”

Knots: “Oh no…Lexy Chapel is going to lose it! She’s not even here! And she’s going to lose it!”

Sharper: “Ravyn almost looks proud.”

Knots: “Or she’s trying to figure out if YUYO can spontaneously combust!”

YUYO keeps jumping up and down and runs around the ring, rather obnoxiously as she celebrates. Syren looks on as Ravyn turns and rolls out of the ring. She puts her hands and her hips and watches as YUYO keeps jumping up and odwn.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO!”

YUYO stops and poses as NEMO and SAWA enter the ring. The scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Lexy Chapel frantically in front of Autumn Valentine as the camera moves forward. Autumn turns away, and we see what appears to be a cut on the forehead and a cut at her mouth.

Lexy: “Doesn’t look as bad. Right Fall? Right?!”

Fall just nods as the camera turns to them, showing a bandage now visible through one of the mask’s eye holes.

Autumn: “Just Lexy-“

Lexy: “No. We’re going to do it this way. Veronica Strader wants to come in here, be a cowgirl, be all rawr, and go after you, all because she was in the wrong place and the wrong time.”

Autumn: “We also took her spot in the tournament-“

Lexy: “That’s my dad’s fault. She can attack him. Maybe he’ll finally superkick her or something. He needs to really do that more. Would help our merch sales. Superkicks solve everything, remember-“

Autumn: “Lexy-“

Lexy: “SHE cost LexyCorp’s chance at the Adrenaline Championship. She screwed up and LexyCorp is not going to stand by. We’re going for the jugular. We’re going to wipe her out. Take out the Cowgirl. OH YES! The storm that is Autumn Valentine is going to whip her!”

Fall St. Patrick at this point, leans against the wall, blinking, completely unbeknownst to Lexy or Autumn.

Lexy: “My dad better give the match or else we’re going to go all West Side Story in this bitch!”

Autumn: “What?”

Lexy: “The Spielberg version is okay, okay?”

Sharper: “Does she even known Ravyn just was upset in the tournament?”

The scene cuts away

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see CHBK with Dean Black standing across from Konrad Raab who sits in his locker room, leaning back, a smirk on his face. Ginny Raab stands in front of him.

CHBK: “Are you pleased?”

Raab: “Whatever do you mean. I was a good little boy this time. I came here. I fought. What’s the problem?”

Black: “You know the problem.”

CHBK: “We have reports from Los Angeles that Dakon and Ludvig were involved in a bit of a demonstration. Property damage. Threatening staff. Demanding to see Shaun. And then what?”

Raab: “I don’t know. They’re their own people. Maybe they felt they wanted to say sorry for not taking care of Enigma.”

CHBK: “If you’re tied with it-“

Raab: “What? I’m here. I competed. Although if Shaun thinks it was me…then he can come see me face to face next week. And if he wants to get physical again, I’ll make sure he regrets it.”

Raab then stands up.

Raab: “Now, I need to have my therapeutic shower. These old bones don’t recover as well as they used to.”

Raab turns and walks off. Ginny looks at CHBK and Dean Black.

Ginny: “Anything else?”

CHBK: “He better not have been involved.”

Ginny: “He’s been here all night.”

CHBK turns to Dean Black. Black shrugs as CHBK turns and heads off. Black follows.

The cameras cut back to the main arena, panning across the building.

Sharper: “Seems like Konrad may have been involved-“

Knots: “Dakon and Ludvig going to Impact Media. Causing problems? Maybe there’s security footage or something?”

Sharper: “Maybe. We’ll look into it. But if they’re involved, Konrad definitely has to be too.”

Knots: “Raab can act dumb, but we know that’s not going to be case. Not when he wants his hands on Shuan Cruze!”

Sharper: “Anyway, as we follow that story, our big story tonight of course is the Adrenaline Contendership Tournament, but we’re always keeping our mind on the main event of Rise to Greatness. Josh Hudson will challenge Selena Frost and in recent weeks, the two have had moments where they’ve aimed to stand over the other to close out Breakdown. This week, I had the chance to speak to both separately about how they feel about each other, their visions for SCW and the SCW World Championship.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We cut to Taking Hold of the Flame. Xander steps back as Selena stumbles back and Xander hoists Selena up onto his shoulders. The crowd erupts as Xander tries to move her into position, but Selena ends up a bit too forward and then moves around before grabbing the arm of Xander and pulling it through before dropping down and locking in the Devil’s Gate. The crowd looks on, many booing. Xander reaches around and tries to move. He then manages to lift Selena up again. The crowd erupts, but Selena manages to use this as an opportunity to lock the hold in better. Xander then drops to a knee and Selena is dropped down to the mat again. Xander tries to push up as Demitra checks the shoulders. Selena however twists her hips and Xander falls to the side. The crowd roars as Selena keeps pulling back. Demitra checks on Xander.

Sharper: “Selena Frost locking in the Devil’s Gate. Xander had her back up, but she locked it in. And now…”

Knots: “He’s fading! Xander’s fading!”

Sharper: “Selena…with the Devil’s Gate…”

Demitra checks again. Selena snaps at him as Selena keeps the hold on. Demitra checks a third time before then calling for the bell. The bell sounds. The crowd boos loudly as Selena lets go and falls back, relieved.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via referee stoppage, and STILL SCW World Champion, Selena Frost!”

Knots: “She choked him out.”

Sharper: “By the skin of her teeth. Xander had her and she managed to shift her weight…and somehow lock in that hold.”

We then cut to the final moments of the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. YUYO goes for the Kiss of Justice, but Syren ducks under and YUYO spins through. She then lands on her feet and runs at Syren. Syren backs up and sends YUYO into the corner. YUYO however runs up and turns and instead goes for Hudson. Hudson however catches her and then muscles her up and just dumps her over the top rope to the floor. The crowd ohs. Hudson turns and Syren jumps up for the Total Makeover, but Hudson moves into it, and lifts her onto her shoulders. The crowd roars as Hudson turns and pushes her forward and Syren goes over. She grabs at the ropes, touching the middle rope, but losing her grip and falling to the floor. The crowd roars as the bell sounds and Hudson falls back to his knees.

Phillips: “Here is your winner of the 2024 Taking Hold of the Flame…Josh Hudson!”

Sharper: “Josh Hudson! Returning at Taking Hold of the Flame and outlasting thirty-nine others!”

Knots: “And no matter who he faces, there’s a lot of history there! Josh Hudson in the main event of Rise to Greatness XXI!”

We cut to a shot of Josh Hudson seated in a upholstered chair before cutting to show Selena sitting in the same chair.

Sharper: “Rise to Greatness main event-“

Selena: “Fourth one.”

Hudson: “My first. Finally..”

Sharper: “How do you feel about Selena painting you as someone who is an outsider? Someone who jumped to the front of the line?”

Hudson: “If she believes that, it’s just her own delusions. But that’s a whole other issue. I have been part of SCW for two decades. I’m a Hall of Famer. I’m always part of this company.”

Selena: “To show how shattered SCW’s World Championship ranks were when I left, SCW needed to find someone who was retired, and hope they got through.”

Hudson: “To dismiss this roster because why? She doesn’t like Kandis? Asher Hayes? Simon Lyman?”

We see shots of Kandis and Asher Hayes fighting, both holding the SCW World Championship before showing Simon Lyman.

Selena: “That…that was just a stage where it showed how much I worked for and how quickly, when I wasn’t here to protect it, things deteriorated. Kandis, she had a good couple of months. Won Taking Hold of the Flame. She needed a crooked referee to win the title and then couldn’t hold on against someone who had never proven their ability to stand on their own two feet and I proved that when I beat them.”

Sharper: “Why did you step away? For five months?”

Selena: “Do I need to answer that? I stepped away because SCW no longer valued or appreciated what I was trying to do. It was all for SCW. Even now, some of it is. Then again, some of this is now to prove a point.”

Sharper: “That SCW needed an outsider…”

Selena is shown glaring.

Sharper: “Your words about Hudson who is an SCW lifer. You returned after five months and immediately demanded your title rematch.”

Selena: “No, I made a deal with CHBK. If I won End of the Year…then I would prove I hadn’t lost a step.”

Sharper: “So how is it different from Hudson and Taking Hold of the Flame?”

We then cut to Hudson.

Hudson: “Selena has strung together this narrative that SCW doesn’t appreciate what she wants. Winning the title clean. Proving the best in competition. Look at her title reign-“

Selena is shown again.

Selena: “I have those legal provisos not because I’m trying to limit people. I want those claiming they want to be the best, to be at this high level, to compete in the middle of the ring. They fight me, win clean, I’ll respect that. That’s all. And no one has been able to rise to that occasion. Look at Kirsten Scott and Kandis today. Has Kandis done anything that’s not dirty? Kirsten Scott barely was able to keep it on the level. Xander needed Kandis to come down to the ring. And look at the target on my back.”

Hudson: “Kandis, Scott, Xander…they all fought her in the realm of the rules.”

Selena: “And I had to find another gear to survive their shortcomings. The need to bend and break the rules. Thankfully some people are professionals…or were. But they’re more worried about how they look. I’m not longer.”

Hudson: “Poor Aaron Demitra…put in the middle of this. He’s just doing his job. And even that narrative – CHBK wasn’t a fair official when Selena lost at Rise to Greatness last year?”

We cut to CHBK raising Kandis’s arm, holding up the World Championship.

Selena: “Demitra should have had that spot. This ridiculous idea that he was not above reproach. And you put someone who by every metric has been one of the shadiest people in the business-“

Sharper: “He’s your boss.”

Selena: “Why do you think I needed to protect myself legally? It’s not just from those who can only take shortcuts to get ahead. It’s for people like CHBK who don’t respect what I am trying to do. For a legend, he’s done as much damage to that title and what it represents than anyone.”

Hudson: “Alex and I have almost never seen eye to eye, but he’s impressed me by at least putting aside the BS. Selena has crafted this narrative though that she’s fighting against the world. I’ve done that same crusade – wanting to prove it in the ring. Pure wrestling. No hardcore. All that. It’s tiring. But I never held myself above the sport. Selena is. And Selena has thrown a lot of people down the river because she needs to.”

Selena: “Hudson said this was petty. This wasn’t. This is literally about a vision for the future, Adam. One that you used to believe it.”

Sharper: “I do want to see the best compete and within the rules. But I don’t know about your attitude.”

Selena: “The people on the side of the right never use what they have their disposal to see through this mission. That’s all I’m doing. And five years from now, ten years from now, I know two things. I will be successful because I never give up and never fail at anything I’ve done. That’s how I’m wired. And more importantly, my kids will see what I’ve done and be proud.”

Hudson: “All I can say is that Selena is going to have a choice after Rise to Greatness…except that she fell at my hands because I am going to take the fight she wants and show that she’s still a novice. But if she disrespects me when I’m the rightful champion…just remember, that MY rules as champion will be in vogue and I will have no problem passing the lessons I have when I train to someone who clearly needs to be reminded of them.”

Selena: “I just hope SCW has some good options after Rise to Greatness. Because when we’re done on July 28…I will still be champion, and SCW may need to search far and wide for someone who can meet MY standard for World Champion. BELIEVE IT!”

Selena looks right at the camera as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

The scene opens back up with a panning shot of the inside of the FedExForum.

Knots: “Selena really does believe.”

Sharper: “She does, but she has backed it up every step of the way. One thing that wasn’t shown – I asked about her relationship with Deanna and she shut it down immediately. She is here to defend that World Title. As she put it, personal lives can be the fodder of lesser men and women and given that Bree Lancaster has been linked to TMZ, that seemed like a thinly veiled shot.”

Backstage, Jaina Lancaster is with Amy Chastaine, who has a bandage over her nose from a competition she was in the previous week.

Jaina: “You sure about this?”

Amy: “Absolutely. I mean, it’s only fair. He claims to be a savior. Let’s see how he and his kind react to well…similar forces.”

Jaina: “You’re going to do it.”

Amy: “Trust me, I want to take everything from him as he’s tried to take everything I’ve worked too hard to try and save. I know I haven’t been perfect. I don’t need that neanderthal reminding me every two minutes. And as much as I’d love to take all of his minions out, this…this may at least save some of my bank account.”

Jaina just nods.

Jaina: “Don’t have too much fun.”

Amy: “Oh I will. And Simon…he can see whether people buy his schtick against someone who can harness nature for their own ends.”

Amy then grabs something from Jaina. Amy heads off as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Amelia Blythe and La Pequena Luz, the team of Light in the Darkness, standing backstage. They turn to the camera.

Blythe: “We got a bit of a reminder, didn’t we last week?”

Luz: “We did.”

Blythe: “That’s we’re fighters. That we’ve held the World Tag Team Championship twice. That we’ve been the target for so many in this division for most of the past year.”

Luz: “And we were this close to throwing it all away. Because we lost.”

Blythe: “We are human. And it is something on one hand we’re happy to be a part of the moment, just we’re not pleased, as competitors of being on the wrong side. Twice this year, two competitors earned the Supreme Championship title by defeating us. Glory Braddock…and Katie Steward.”

Luz: “And with Braddock and her partner, Brittany Lohan…we were on the collision course to finishing it all. One team would enter. One team would win.”

Amelia and Luz look at one another.

Amelia: “And CHBK has a point. We were helping them fight their fight. And that took a lot out of us. But we’re not done.”

Amelia looks at the camera.

Amelia: “We aren’t done. We can lick our wounds, or we can get up and do one thing they no one else in this match would have…get that Rise to Greatness moment and like Retribution, stand tall at the end!”

Luz: “CHBK…sign that contract, but with one change….Team Desire, Twisted & Sadistic…you will be joined by Light in the Darkness at Rise to Greatness! But…we want it to remove ANY doubt. No more excuses. And we want this to be definitive! The winner can claim they are the bet of the three on that night. We want it to be a three way dance…elimination rules.”

Luz and Amelia look at one another again.

Luz & Amelia: “May the best team win!”

Ryan LeCavalier vs. Religious Wright

“I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe begins to play. Religious Wright steps out onto the stage wearing a black robe and carrying his Holy Book in his right hand. Along the way down the aisle he stops by some fans. He presses his hand to the foreheads of some fans and shouts “BE HEALED IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!” Still other fans he throws Holy Water at them and shouts “BE GONE FOUL DEMON FROM THIS SERVANT IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!”

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a ten minute time limit. First, from The Sword of Joshua Full Gospel Pentecostal Temple of Joy Holiness by way of Mt. Judea, Arkansas, he is RELIGIOUS WRIGHT!”

Religious Wright then ascends the steel steps and enters the ring. He steps to the center of the ring and holds up his Holy Book and shouts “CAN I GET AN AMEN MY BROTHAS AND SISTAS OF THE LAWD?!”

Knots: “Oh good! We found him.”

Sharper: “Well not too far from his stomping grounds, guess SCW let him back in.”

Knots: “Maybe busy doing the lord’s work. You know, Selena Frost!”

The arena is quiet, with a palpable sense of expectancy in the air as the lights go off. An ethereal blue glow is projected onto the entry ramp by a lone floodlight that breaks through the darkness. The crowd trembles with eagerness as L'Impératrice's "A View to a Kill" pulsates synthesizers burst the stillness.

A silhouette appears out of the darkness, clad in a shimmering silver cloak that seems to both reflect and absorb the light. The coat flutters about her as she moves, giving her enticing peeks of the wrestling gear in silver and black underneath. Her face is hidden behind a mask of steely resolve, framed by the hood.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Miami, Florida, this is the Lost Monarch…Ryan LeCavalier!”

The moment Ryan LeCavalier, as "The Lost Monarch," removes her hood and shows off her icy-focused eyes, the audience screams. At the top of the ramp, she stops and looks out over the crowd like a queen assessing her subjects. She steps down into the ring and gracefully makes her way to the turnbuckle, removing her cloak like a snake might remove its skin. With her eyes fixed on her opponent, she slides into her mouthguard, completing her transformation. The arena is bustling with the unsaid promise of a great battle to come, and the air is crackling with suspense.

Sharper: “And SCW’s newest signing, Ryan LeCavalier. Another veteran making their way to Supreme Championship Wrestling. CHBK has made some massive signings as of late.”

Knots: “And think of all of the extra eyes on SCW these days. Rise to Greatness around the corner. You’re coming in and you better make a quick impact.”

Wright looks at LeCavalier as the bell sounds. Wright then steps up.

Wright: “Welcome to SCW…are you ready to open yourself up to the LAWD, SELENA FR-“

LeCavalier just rushes Wright and drills him with a running elbow strike. The crowd ohs. Wright goes down, rolling over in pain. He starts to get up, a gash having opened up on his forehead from the strike. He staggers forward and falls to a knee before turning around and LeCavalier turns and runs at him and drills him with a running Yakuza kick. Wright falls back and through the ropes to the apron.

Sharper: “Good lord! A hard elbow. A yakuza kick.”

Knots: “He’s bleeding?”

Sharper: “Not holding back one bit.”

Knots: “So guess she’s not going to recognize another monarch!”

LeCavalier exits to the apron as Wright pulls himself up via the ropes. He stumbles a bit and turns to LeCavalier, throwing a hard right, but LeCavalier ducks and catches him before Ephemeris. The crowd ohs. Wright rolls into the ring from the impact. LeCavalier rolls in too and goes over for the pin.

Wright kicks out. LeCavalier looks at Wright and pulls him up. She drags him up and Wright shoves her back out of desperation. LeCavalier plants her foot. She turns back and moves to Wright who hits a jawbreaker. LeCavalier stagger again, falling to a knee. She gets up and Wright steps up and chops her. The crowd woos. He chops her again. More woos. He hits a third and then whips her into the corner. Wright turns and runs after, but LeCavalier steps up and lifts him up and drops him face first on the top turnbuckle. Wright falls back. He rolls over.

Sharper: “LeCavalier showing no desperation. No concern. Calmly taking Wright and driving him into the top turnbuckle.”

Knots: “She’s just toying with him!”

LeCavalier walks over to Wright as he stirs and Wright swings, nailing her with a hard right. He kicks her in the ribs and hooks her head. He goes for a suplex, but LeCavalier spins through and lands behind him. She then hits a hard elbow before knee to the ribs and then a shootkick to the right leg, a forearm to the jaw, a spinning back fist, and then a thrust kick to the stomach. Wright falls back to a knee after the Feel Nothing. The crowd roars. Wright pushes up and reaches out and LeCavalier grabs his arm and takes him down, before locking in the BODY/PRISON!

Sharper: “And LeCavalier locking in the BODY/PRISON!”

Knots: “Wright’s bloodied, battered, and now his arm getting pulled out of its socket!”

Wright yells out as LeCavalier pulls back. After only a few moments, Wright starts to tap out. The crowd roars. The bell sounds. LeCavalier keeps the hold on a moment longer before the official tells her to let go. She does and rolls over and gets up to her feet. She steps forward, having her arm raised.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via submission, Ryan LeCavalier!”

Sharper: “And just like that, LeCavalier dispatches Wright with ease!”

Knots: “Welcome to SCW. I hope everyone was paying attention!”

LeCavalier pulls her arm away and scans the arena. She takes a moment to take in the moment before then exiting the ring. She drops down to the floor, heading to the back as the official checks on Wright.

Destiny Page stands with Deanna Frost who is seated backstage in her locker room. The SCW United States Championship sits next to her.

Destiny: “Deanna, can I get a word?”

Deanna nods.

Destiny: “It’s been a challenging few weeks for you. You’ve been distracted by The Enigma, Jessica Winters still not one hundred percent. Matthew Knox has been challenging you and-“

Deanna: “Wait…Oh…sorry. I …”

Deanna scoffs.

Deanna: “I heard about that…and I’ve been just so focused on The Enigma. I figured that’s what he would want. I made the challenge. Rise to Greatness was right there. I thought he may want that stage and yet…the Pre-Show.”

Destiny: “And knowing you, you will put the title on the line.”

Deanna: “Never thought anything else. I wanted to give him what he wanted in hopes I could stop him. And he picks the Pre-Show and I know, I know, last year, I made comments taken the wrong way. Everyone thinks I see the pre-show beneath me. Nothing like that. Nothing. Just…to be out there in front of 80 000, that’s a rush you can’t trade and…he’s even bought into that narrative. Everything is coming to haunt me these days. The US Title and what it means…the friendships in this sport, my marriage…and now mistakes of the past…”

Deanna looks down for a moment.

Deanna: “He’s thorough. But if that’s where he wants to meet, I will be there.”

Deanna looks at the camera.

Deanna: “Enigma…I can’t afford to be afraid of you. I can’t because I know what that can mean. So you want the Rise to Greatness Pre-Show. I’ll be there and I don’t know if I can stop you, but I can damn sure try! And I’m not going to give up until I do. And so, Enigma…see you then.”

Deanna then stands up and grabs her US Championship.

Deanna: “That’s my focus, Destiny. It has to be. I know this Knox will take it the wrong way. I heard he wants to use me to make an impact.”

Destiny: “He has an impressive track record.”

Deanna chuckles to herself.

Deanna: “Now even the target of people from outside who come in with some pedigree. Now all I need is someone to say I’m still in Selena’s shadow. If he’s gunning for me. He’s been at ringside…just…sorry, Heart on my sleeve moment this week. I don’t know what to say about Knox.”

Deanna then turns and heads off. Destiny watches her go as the scene cuts away.

Kandis & “The One” Kirsten Scott vs. Body, Heart, and Soul

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on SCW’s Jumbotron. A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are Body, Heart, and Soul, Colleen and Aisling!”

The music plays for quite some time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Colleen and Aisling walk out from behind, wearing matching pantsuits. They look around before starting to head to the ring. Colleen looks on focused as Aisling plays to the crowd a bit. They make their walk down the ramp. Colleen and Aisling reach the ring and slide in. They get to their feet and raise their arms overhead. Colleen and Aisling walks around the ring.

Sharper: “This could be a hard fought one. There’s going to be little or no love lost here. Not after what happened two weeks ago on this program. And with Polly Pingotti riled up, Colleen and Aisling may be too.”

Knots: “Kandis and Kirsten Scott have just gotten more driven to extract what they want. And consequences be damned. Well we’ll see if that’s the case here.”

The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz wondering who is coming out. As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.

As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...

AUS!

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey. The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey. Kirsten and her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle. They stop at the ringside area.

Phillips: “Their opponents, first, from your own personal nightmare, accompanied by Hailey and The Oracle, she is ‘The One’ Kirsten Scott!”

Kirsten Scott looks up at the ring. Colleen already is sitting on the ropes, inviting her in the ring.

Sharper: “Colleen invited Scott in.”

Knots: “I think she’ll wait. We know what this is going to be!”

The opening of “Whore” by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face as the crowd roars. She turns and shows off her notorious rear end, swaying it back and forth...

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, then Kandis turns around, arms spread and feet wide apart as vocalist Maria Brink shouts:

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

Kandis starts down the ramp as the rest of the chorus continues, the sway in her hips ever present as she smirks at the ring, even blowing sarcastic kisses to the crowd. She then walks over to “The One” Kirsten Scott. They share a glance before turning to the ring.

Phillips: “Her partner, from Santa Barbara California.... she is Kandis!”

They both then turn and rush the ring and slide. Colleen and Aisling rush at them as the bell sounds. The crowd roars. Aisling nails Kirsten with a hard right and then another as Colleen clubs Kandis over and over and over again. The crowd roars as Kandis staggers off and Colleen nails her with a hard right and then another. The official tries to get control as Aisling forearms Kirsten Scott a couple of times and gets her into the corner. Kandis leans against the ropes and Colleen nails her a few more times before Colleen grabs Kandis to pull her off the ropes, but Kandis spins through and hits a hip throw. Colleen rolls over and gets up and Kandis hits a front kick to the chest. Colleen falls back and Kandis just grabs her by the face and runs forward, piefacing her back. Colleen falls through the ropes to the floor. Aisling then goes to whip Kirsten Scott out. Kandis however stops Kirsten. Aisling turns and runs at both, but Kandis and The One hoist her up and hit a double flapjack. The crowd ohs as The official tries to get Kandis or Kirsten Scott out. Kandis relents and exits as Aisling rolls over to the corner.

Sharper: “Kandis and Kirsten Scott gaining control and Kirsten Scott going after Aisling.”

Knots: “They wanted to turn this into a fight. And well they’re getting it.”

Kirsten runs over and kicks Aisling in the ribs. Aisling winces and falls into the corner. Kirsten kicks her again and again before whipping her across the ring and into the other neutral corner. Kirsten Scott runs after and nails her with a hard clothesline. Aisling winces and Kirsten Scott turns and throws her down. Aisling slowly gets up, holding her jaw and Kirsten Scott moves to the corner and runs at Aisling and hits a running knee to the back of the head. The crowd ohs. Kandis just applauds and turns around, clearly enjoying this. Kirsten Scott rolls Aisling over for the pin.

Colleen runs over and drops the elbow to the back of Kirsten Scott’s head. She rolls over and Colleen gets up. The official snaps at Kirsten. Kirsten gets up and heads over to her and goes to nail her with a hard right. Colleen nails her with a shot as the official gets her back. Kandis turns back as Aisling stirs and Kirsten Scott heads over and elbows her in the back of the head. She drops to a knee.

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott just right back to Aisling. Hard elbow.”

Knots: “They’re going to make sure everything hurts. And this is just for them getting in their way. Colleen and Aisling aren’t going to just let them get away with it.”

Sharper: “They’re going to have to figure something out. That’s for certain.”

Kirsten Scott then turns and whips Aisling into the ropes. Aisling bounces off and Kirsten Scott elbows her on the rebound. Aisling rolls over and looks out as Kirsten Scott grabs her by the hair. She leans over and says something only for Aisling to elbow her in the jaw. The crowd roars. Aisling elbows her again and again before Aisling hits a snapmare. Kirsten Scott rolls through and then gets up and turns and Aisling hits a dropkick. Kirsten Scott gets back up and turns and Aisling hits a jawbreaker. She runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits a spinning heel kick. Kirsten Scott hits the mat and rolls over and Aisling turns and tags in Colleen. Colleen enters as Kirsten Scott fights up only for Aisling to hit a drop toe hold and Colleen runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits a running hip drop to the back of Scott. Colleen remains on Scott and pulls up on her chin. The official checks on her. Kirsten Scott tells them off.

Sharper: “Body, Heart, and Soul with the double team. Now the hold. The seated chinlock!”

Knots: “Scott better get creative in her own right. Colleen is right on her lower back, pulling up on her chin. Kirsten Scott can’t bend that way.”

Colleen keeps pulling back as Aisling leaves the ring. Kirsten Scott reaches out and moves to the ropes. She moves a bit closer and closer before Kandis enters the ring and runs across and drills Colleen in the back of the head. The crowd ohs. Kandis turns and moves back as the official warns her. Kandis ignores her and exits to the apron. Aisling paces as Colleen slowly stirs. Kirsten Scott slowly rolls over and gets up, holding her lower back. Kirsten tags in Kandis. Kandis enters the ring and runs over and kicks Colleen in the ribs. She nails her with a hard right and then another before sending her into the corner. Kandis then hits a hard kick to the ribs and then again before going for a spinning back kick. Colleen catches he. The crowd roars. Colleen then runs out and drives it down into the mat, almost with a bulldog, sending Kandis knee first into the mat. She rolls over. Kandis moves away. Colleen gets up and Kandis turns and Colleen spears her down. She tackles her with a couple of hard shots.

Sharper: “Colleen scrapping with Kandis! Kandis wasn’t expecting that!”

Knots: “And Colleen tackled her down. She hammering away on the former World Champion!”

Colleen gets up and Kandis rolls over. Colleen runs over and nails Kirsten Scott off the apron. The crowd roars. Kirsten falls off the apron and to the mats. Colleen turns around and Kandis scoops her up and powerslams her. She hooks the leg.

Aisling breaks it up with a running dropkick to the head. Kandis rolls off. Aisling rolls out of the ring. She starts to get up and plays to the crowd. They cheers a bit as Kandis grabs at the ropes. She winces and then runs across the ring and nails Aisling off the apron. The crowd ohs. Aisling falls to the mats and rolls through. Kandis just shakes her head and turns around and Colleen drills her with a clothesline. The crowd ohs. Kandis rolls over and gets up. Colleen then lifts her up and hits a spinebuster. She rolls through for the pin.

Kandis kicks out. Colleen rolls off. She then looks at Kandis and turns and runs into the ropes. But Kirsten Scott reaches up, pulling on the top rope. Colleen goes up and over the top rope and falls to the floor. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott with the assist. And Kandis and Kirsten Scott have shown the ability to watch each other’s back as of late!”

Knots: “And Colleen is going to find out that Kirsten Scott is as lethal as ever!”

Kirsten Scott looks at Colleen as Colleen slowly gets up. Kirsten then nails her with the Hidden Blade from behind.(1) Kirsten Scott then looks down at her and slowly gets up. (2) Kandis smirks as Aisling suddenly rolls into the ring and runs across and hits a diving twisting dive over the top rope and right onto Kirsten Scott! The crowd erupts.(3)

Sharper: “And Aisling goes high-risk. Why not?! Over the top! And twisting in the air, almost like a moonsault, right onto Kirsten Scott!”

Knots: “Kandis is the only one in the ring though. She’s the legal woman too!”

The official keeps counting. (4) Colleen slowly gets up as Kandis rolls to the floor. She walks around the ring and over to Colleen. (1) She then walks over to her and grabs her and hits the Gratuitous. The crowd ohs.

Knots: “Ass to the face!”

Kandis then looks at Colleen. (2) She drags her up and rolls her into the ring. Kandis rolls in after. She then walks over and hits a leg drop to the back of Colleen’s head. She rolls her over and hooks the leg.

Colleen kicks out. Kandis rolls off. She then turns and grabs Colleen and starts to pull her up. Colleen fires back with a couple of hard shots before Kandis knees her in the ribs. She then goes to whip her into the Kandis/Kirsten corner. Kandis follows up with a choke with her boot.

Kandis steps off and walks around the ring. She then turns and runs at Colleen, but Aisling climbs onto the apron and hits a slingshot boot to the face. Kandis falls back. Aisling then heads after Kandis. The official, however, blocks her and tells her to get out of the ring. Aisling tries to get past as Kirsten Scott moves to the ring. Kandis slowly gets up and just then, the crowd erupts. Aisling continues to keep the official’s attention. Scott climbs up, but just then, Scott Reed runs up to the ring, jumps to the apron and Kirsten Scott turns only for Scott Reed to twist and flip back, hitting a sunset flip powerbomb on the mats. The crowd ohs as Kirsten Scott rolls over in pain. Kandis heads over to the ropes and reaches through as Hailey and The Oracle head around. Kandis grabs Scott Reed and pulls him through, only for Colleen to run over and hit a running hip check to the back of her head. Kandis hits the ropes and falls back and Colleen then rolls her up with an inside cradle. Aisling exits the ring.

Sharper: “Scott Reed! Reed attacked Kirsten Scott! The ceasefire is over! And Scott Reed said he wasn’t going to let Syren muscle in!”

Knots: “And Colleen hit Kandis! No! You’re kidding me!”

Sharper: “Inside cradle!”

Kandis kicks out and rolls over as Colleen rolls over and smirks. Kandis looks at her and glares before getting up. Kirsten Scott remains down as Scott Reed backs away and smirks. He turns to the back.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Colleen and Aisling, Body, Heart, and Soul!”

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti has to be smiling somewhere as Body, Heart, and Soul take advantage and Scott Reed gets another one over Kirsten Scott!”

Kandis looks up as Colleen turns and Aisling helps her up. They celebrate as Kandis looks around and then steps up and shoves the official, Steve Hollinsworth down. The crowd ohs. Colleen and Aisling see this as Kandis steps up and snaps at Hollinsworth.

Knots: “Whoa! Kandis! Easy!”

Sharper: “Another fine may be coming her way. First she assaulted Demitra a couple of weeks ago and now Hollinsworth-“

Kandis then steps over him and Aisling and Colleen head over and shove her back. Kandis steps back and looks up and then shakes her head before turning and nailing Colleen with a hard right. She goes to nail Aisling, but Aisling goes lower and tackles her down. The crowd erupts as Aisling gets a few shots in as Kandis tries to hold on. Scott Reed stops at the stage as we see Kirsten Scott now being handed a chair by Hailey. Kirsten takes it and rolls into the ring, clearly wincing in pain. She gets up and Aisling looks up as Kirsten Scott turns and nails her in the back with the chair. The crowd ohs. Aisling goes down. We then see Kirsten turns and throws the chair at Colleen. Colleen goes down as Kandis starts to get up. She turns and heads over to Colleen as Kirsten Scott goes for Aisling. We then see Xander Valentine storming to the ring. Scott Reed turns and sees him heading down. Scott Reed goes to head after, but Syren runs down from the back.

Sharper: “Wait a minute! Xander Valentine! Syren!”

Knots: “Reed thought he sent the message. But Kirsten Scott and Kandis remain focus on the goal. Take out Body, Heart, and Soul!”

Xander Valentine enters the ring and Kandis turns and lunges at Xander, but Xander grabs her by the throat. Xander then hoists her up and drops her with a chokeslam, Syren enters the ring, sliding in and runs over to Kirsten Scott and nails her with a hard right and then another and another before backing up and clotheslining her over the top rope. Kandis rolls to the floor as Kirsten Scott falls into the announce table. Hailey and The Oracle go to her as we see Polly Pingotti jogging down to the ring. Scott Reed then starts to head down at this point. Xander watches Kandis as Syren watches Kirsten Scott. She turns back and then goes to Aisling as Polly Pingotti slides in to check on Aisling too. Reed hops onto the apron, looking at Syren and then looking around.

Sharper: “Polly checking on her compatriots. Syren and Xander standing tall in the ring.”

Knots: “Reed’s back, so that’s something.”

Sharper: “And Kandis and Kirsten Scott who have flown off the handle as of late, retreating at ringside!”

Kandis holds her back and turns and kicks the steel steps before looking around. Kirsten Scott gets up as the crowd looks on. Reed keeps looking at Syren as the scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as Jaina smirks as she walks over to the locker room of Simon Lyman. She then knocks on the door. She waits before the door opens and Simon Lyman, in his white robe, steps out.

Simon: “You! You-“

Jaina: “Simon…I…I’ve come to get saved. Amy, she’s crossing a line. It’s too far. And-“

Simon: “What? Seriously? You are. YES! I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long.”

Jaina: “Just…I think she’s gone down some evil path and-“

We then hear a crash in the room. Simon stops her.

Simon: “I’m sorry. Come on in and-“

The door opens as Elijah Smith is on the floor, looking at the wall.

Elijah: “The hell is that?!”

Simon: “What are you blathering on about?!”

Elijah: “That!”

Elijah points to the wall, showing some sort of symbol painted on the wall.

Jaina: “Oh no…it’s too late…Amy…she’s hexed you all.”

Simon: “Oh God. She is still playing her stupid little games. She thinks she’s a witch. Outside of the green skin and horrid behaviour-“

Lisa Archer is in the room too and she then sits down, seemingly a bit light-headed.

Lisa: “Whoa…room is spinning. Wait…her…”

Jaina: “Oh, we should get her some water.”

Lisa: “Why is she here? I thought she was S-“

Jaina: “What?”

Lisa: “S….I can’t say it. Amy’s daughter.”

Lyman: “SISTER AMY. SISTER SATAN!”

Jaina: “Wait Sister Amy? Am I-“

Lisa: “S….I can’t say the word. I can’t say it B….”

Lyman: “Brother Simon. Yes. You can-“

Elijah yells again, falling over as another symbol is painted on the wall.

Elijah: “I think that one is glowing!”

Jaina: “Oh she-“

Lyman: “OUT! OUT SATANIC CREATURE! YOU CAN’T BE SA….Safe…Sav….”

Lyman looks down.

Lyman: “What the hell is going on?”

Jaina: “Oh no…it’s too late. She’s started her incantations. You can’t be SAVED now!”

Lisa: “What is she talking about!”

Lyman: “Get out! OUT! You’re just like her! She’s corrupted you! You can’t be sav…..DAMN IT!”

Lyman shoves Jaina out and Jaina staggers back and stops herself as Lyman slams the door closed. Jaina then smirks as she walks down the hallway. Amy Chastaine is waiting.

Jaina: “Surprised how much of that worked-“

Amy: “Especially as I only used a binding spell. The rest…”

Jaina: “I may have helped…”

Amy: “Just hide the receipt for the paint. Let the group of them overthink this. Because this is just some of the psychological violence I plan to inflict.”

Amy looks at the locker room before her and her daughter, Jaina, leave.

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

And the song continues. The crowd cheers as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Phillips: “The following contest is a semifinals match in the Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament and is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California…he is the All Star…Gavin Taylor!”

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.

Sharper: “Gavin moving on. Marie too. And it’s a rematch of the situation that led to Marie’s challenge of Bree Lancaster at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Knots: “Yeah. Marie can either repeat to get to the finals or Gavin can get his win back. So both are going to be thinking about that.”

Phillips: “His opponent, on her way to the ring, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Phoenix, Marie Jones!”

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the arena. Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring. As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story. Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring. She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd.

Sharper: “And Marie Jones looking to keep the good news going. Already got a big win earlier against Konrad Raab. Now hoping to repeat against Gavin as we mentioned.”

Knots: “Right now, this is turning into the tide-turning tournament! Gavin Taylor, Marie Jones, David Striker – each got off the snide to get a big win to get to the next round.”

The bell sounds. Marie Jones and Gavin Taylor step out and meet up in the middle of the ring. They lock up in the middle of the ring and Gavin shoves Marie back. He then flexes as the crowd roars. Marie looks up and nods before getting up. She then lunges and runs at Gavin. Gavin goes for a clothesline. Marie ducks and bounces off the other side. Gavin turns and Marie drills him with a forearm shot. She hits another forearm shot and then kicks him in the ribs. Marie hooks him up for a snap suplex, but Gavin blocks it. Gavin then punches her in the ribs and lifts her up and throws her forward. Marie lands on her feet and Gavin kicks her in the ribs. He then hooks her up and goes for a vertical suplex. Marie spins through and lands behind him. She runs him into the ropes and goes for an Okana roll. Gavin holds onto the top rope and Marie rolls back. Gavin runs at her and goes for a Gavin Taylor Lariat, but Marie blocks it by grabbing his arm and then jumping up into a crucifix before moving into a sunset flip pin.

Gavin kicks out and rolls back.

Sharper: “Quick action to start here. Sunset flip counter only get two!”

Knots: “Almost caught Gavin though. He better get focused. He’s gotten a bit ahead of himself already.”

Gavin gets up and Marie jumps up and dropkicks him down. Gavin rolls over to the ropes and Marie steps up and dropkicks him again. He falls through the ropes and to the floor. Gavin rolls over. He slowly starts to get up and moves to his feet. Marie exits to the apron. Gavin steps forward and Marie stomps him in the head. Gavin staggers back and Marie moves to the ringpost. She then runs along it and Gavin goes to take out the legs. Marie however jumps forward, handstanding and jumps back only for Gavin to turn and sweep out the legs. Marie lands hard on the apron.

Sharper: “Marie showing her agility, but Gavin thinking ahead and sweeps out the leg.”

Knots: “Right in the small of the back. Landed right on the edge.”

Gavin then turns and grabs Marie off the apron, carrying her across his chest. He then spins around and runs at Marie and slams her back first into the ring apron. Marie drops with a thud. The crowd ohs. Gavin then grabs her and pulls her up and rolls her into the ring. Gavin rolls in after and crawls over for the pin.

Marie kicks out. Gavin gets up and Marie rolls over. Gavin drags her up and then scoops her up and slams her down. He runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a running elbow drop. He rolls off as Marie turns and holds her chest. Gavin then grabs her, hoisting her up and dropping her with a back suplex. Gavin turns and moves to the corner. He climbs to the middle turnbuckle and looks forward. He dives off, going for an elbow drop, but Marie gets her boot up. Gavin lands on his feet, blocking it and rolls Marie back. Marie rolls to her feet and Gavin kicks her in the ribs. He hoists her up and Marie knees him in the face. She drops down and then keeps hold of his head and then runs up the corner and hits a tornado DDT.

Sharper: “Jones with the tornado DDT. Gavin spun around and planted.”

Knots: “She needed that. Gavin was getting confident. And Marie gave him a reality check.”

Marie rolls over and gets up and then hits a standing moonsault onto Gavin. She hooks the leg.

Gavin kicks out. Marie rolls off. Gavin gets up and Marie runs over and forearms him in the jaw. She nails him again and then goes to whip him across the ring to the corner. Gavin spins through and sends her in. She runs up the corner and hits a corkscrew moonsault onto Gavin Taylor. She reaches back for the pin.

Taylor kicks out. Both get up and Marie jumps up for a hurricanrana, but Gavin catches her and then runs forward and powerbombs her in the corner. The crowd ohs. Marie staggers out and Gavin backs up before hitting the Dependable Roundhouse. Marie goes down. Gavin hooks the leg.

Sharper: “The roundhouse! Shades of Chuck Taurus!”

Knots: “We’ll know for sure. Is she alive?!”

Marie gets her shoulder up.

Knots: “Just a knock off!”

Marie rolls over. She looks out and Gavin turns and grabs her, dragging her up and spinning her into the corner. Gavin then chops her. The crowd woos. He then turns and whips her across the ring. She hits the corner. Gavin runs after and Marie gets a boot up. Gavin staggers out and spins around and runs back at Marie. Marie ducks a clothesline attempt and Gavin stops himself before going into the corner. He turns around and Marie hits the Pele kick. The crowd ohs. Gavin falls to the mat. Marie then crawls to the corner. She glances back at Gavin. She jumps up and hits a split-legged moonsault.

Sharper: “Off the top! Split-legged moonsault. And right onto Gavin!”

Knots: “Hit him beautifully!”

She stays on him for the pin.

Gavin gets his shoulder up. He rolls over and crawls to the ropes. Marie gets up too and grabs him and pulls him back before running out with a neckbreaker. Marie turns and jumps to the middle rope and hits the Divine Impact. She hooks the leg.

Gavin gets his shoulder up again. He rolls over and Marie turns and grabs him. He pulls him up and Gavin suddenly grabs her and hits the Desperation Buzzer-Beater. He then rolls away from Marie and over to the ropes.

Sharper: “Gavin…it’s called the Desperation Buzzer-Beater. That was desperation, but it paid off.”

Knots: “And Marie went from in control to now hoping to God she can figure out what’s next. And Gavin Taylor has her lined up. I think we know what for!”

Marie rolls over and slowly gets up and Gavin Taylor runs out of the corner and hits the Gavin Taylor Lariat! The crowd erupts in cheers. Gavin looks around and plays to the crowd, extending his arms and falling to a knee. He then gets up as the crowd roars only for suddenly, Ghost's “Hunter's Moon” begins to play with its haunting melody. The crowd erupts as Gavin’s eyes widen and he turns. He then starts to wave his arms.

Gavin: “No! I lied! Go away! AWAY!”

Gavin looks at the entrance way as we see “The Bogeyman” JC step out from the back. The crowd erupts in cheers. Wearing the Michael Myers mask, he slowly starts to head to the ring. Gavin keeps waving him off.

Knots: “Gavin! Why did you poke the bear?!”

Sharper: “He called him out last week and I think Gavin is regretting that! And look! Look!”

Marie runs up behind Gavin and pushes him into the ropes and rolls him back into an Okana roll.

The crowd roars and the bell sounds. Marie lets go and Gavin rolls over and looks around. Marie then rolls out of the ring. She backs up as Gavin turns to the official. The official however exits to raise Marie’s arm.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Marie Jones!”

Sharper: “Marie Jones wins as Gavin Taylor was the architect of his own demise! And JC is at the ring!”

Knots: “Gavin! Run!”

JC pulls himself onto the apron and then steps into the ring. Gavin gets up and JC then lunges and drills him with the Big Boot of Death. Gavin kicks at the air after the impact and JC turns and stands over him. He then grabs him and drags him up to his feet. He then hoists him up onto his shoulders and looks right out into the crowd. The crowd cheers loudly as JC keeps him up for a bit longer before then spinning him out into Solitaire Unraveling. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Gavin! You called him out and JC just responded!”

Knots: “Still wish you had done that?”

JC steps over Gavin Taylor. JC looks right at the main camera before then then grabbing the top rope. Gavin Taylor remains down as JC exits the ring. He then walks around the ring, his music still playing as the crowd cheers for him.

Sharper: “David Striker getting a big win and moving on here to the second round. I don’t know if he’s ever faced someone like YUYO though.”

Knots: “Has anyone? Except those who have faced her? But then again, she now has the Maidens!”

Sharper: “Now has some foll-“

Knots: “EXPLOSION!”

Sharper: “Really?”

Knots: “Sorry, getting prepared. I like it!”

The arena darkens before:

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan

The Nyan cat appears on the screen, with the crowd popping. The cat in a poptart, farting rainbows steers around and breaks right into the screen, showing a window crack before breaking. At that moment, “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL’s opening riffs plays, and the girls' voice count:

Out pops YUYO from behind the curtains. Bright white light now shines down on the stage, following YUYO. Mister Meowkazawa follows her to stand behind her. A moment later, her fellow Shining Maidens of SCW members join her as well. NEMO and SAWA pose at either side of YUYO. YUYO steps up to the top of the ramp and places her hands on her hips. Meowkazawa hands her the magical staff, Gríðarvölr. She spins the staff around with a display of talent, the long purple and white ribbons attached to the staff’s end flash. When she stops, she thrusts one hand forward while holding the staff behind her back.

YUYO: “HA!”

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by the Shining Maidens, descending from the sea of stars above, the Guardian of Love, Justice and Peace— Magical Cosmic Princess, YUYO!”

YUYO springs down the ramp, staff in hand, she tosses it into the ring as she slides in under the bottom rope. She pops to her feet, picks up the staff again in a single stride, and then straight to the corner. She holds the staff like a gun and aims towards the ceiling, “BANG! BANG!”. Mr. Meowkazawa catches up to her, taking the staff while she remains in the corner. She points to the sky, “FOREVER!”. SAWA echoes YUYO's call while NEMO stands stoically off to the side. YUYO runs to the next corner and repeats, “FOREVER!”. She hops off the corner with a superhero landing! She then puts on a “mean” face as she readies for the match.

Sharper: “YUYO ready to go. Already impressive since returning. Final three in Taking Hold of the Flame. Now in the semi-finals tonight.”

Knots: “Just imagine?”

Sharper: “Either or – Striker or YUYO. Both could be great challengers. Very different. Marie Jones awaits the winner of this match to determine who will face Bree at Rise to Greatness.”

The bell sounds and Striker nods as YUYO walks out from the corner and does a pose. Striker then looks at her before shrugging and moving forward and kicking her in the ribs. The crowd looks on, some booing, some cheering. Striker forearms her in the jaw and then whips her into the ropes. YUYO bounces off and Striker scoops her off. YUYO spins through and lands on her feet. She then forearms Striker in the jaw before hitting a front dropkick. Striker hits the mat. He gets back up and YUYO runs at him and forearms him in the jaw once and then wrenches the arm. She then jerks on it. Striker falls to a knee. YUYO jerks on it again. Striker falls to a knee again. YUYO then wrenches it again and moonwalks before then going for a hard right, but Striker catches it and takes her over with a hip throw. She rolls through and gets up and Striker hits the Texas Smash. YUYO falls over and into the ropes.

Sharper: “Oh my! And YUYO just finding out that David Striker does not hold back. He does not do half measures.”

Knots: “He probably doesn’t know what the half of things are. What’s the half of two? He just short-circuits!”

YUYO grabs at the ropes as Meowkazawa looks concerned and Striker grabs her and pulls her out and belly to back suplex. YUYO rolls through from the impact. She starts to get up, first to a knee and then her feet only for Striker to step up and hits a shotei. The crowd ohs. Striker goes for the pin.

YUYO kicks out. She rolls over to the ropes. She tries to get to the floor, but Striker grabs her and pulls her in.

Striker: “Sorry! But I got plans here!”

YUYO reaches up and Striker pulls her up with a waistlock and then hits a deadlift German suplex. YUYO rolls over and moves to the ropes. She is dazed as Striker turns and runs at her and goes for a running double knee in the corner, but YUYO quickly sidesteps to the apron. Striker hits the turnbuckles and hops back. YUYO then springboards to the top rope and hits a crossbody into a pin.

Striker kicks out. Both get up and YUYO hits a kick to the knee and then a spinning back kick to the ribs before then falling back and hitting a swing kick to the head. Striker falls back and into the corner. YUYO gets up and Striker steps up and YUYO hits a drop toe hold. She rolls over and gets up and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a running double knee to his lower back.

Sharper: “YUYO turning this around. Still has her flare, but getting a bit more…I guess…mean?”

Knots: “Well getting two knees in your lower back doesn’t exactly tickle!”

YUYO rolls Striker over and hooks the leg.

Striker kicks out. She then gets up and Striker rolls over. YUYO hits a dropkick, knocking him back into the corner. YUYO then runs over and jumps to the middle turnbuckle. She kisses Striker on the forehead.

YUYO: “For Justice!”

YUYO jumps up and spins through, but Striker catches her and runs out of the corner, holding her up only to throw her face first into the mat. The crowd ohs. YUYO pops up and Striker runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a running dropkick to the face. YUYO rolls to her back. Striker goes for the pin.

YUYO kicks out. She rolls over to the corner and gets up. Striker runs at her and she hits a straight kick to the ribs. She then jumps up and hits a crescent kick. Striker rolls over and YUYO turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and runs at Striker who scoops her up and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The crowd ohs. Striker gets up and then hits the Viva la BAM! He goes for the pin.

YUYO gets her shoulder up.

Sharper: “Nearfall as YUYO getting caught-“

Knots: “Striker watched some video before this. You can tell. He caught her on what we’ve seen her do before.”

YUYO rolls over and Striker grabs her and clubs her in the back once and then whips her hard into the corner. She hits hard and backs up and Striker runs at her and hits a snap dragon suplex into a bridge.

YUYO just gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and remains down in a heap. Striker turns back and grabs her and pulls her up. He then scoops her up and onto his shoulder, but YUYO spins through with a huge DDT. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Striker’s strength advantage caught him. YUYO had something left and spun through!”

Knots: “The Maidens trying to will her on!”

Sharper: “And YUYO’s heart too.”

YUYO rolls over as Striker rolls away. He slowly starts to get up and beats YUYO up, but as he heads to grab her, she hits another drop toe hold, this time, driving him face first into the middle turnbuckle. YUYO gets up and runs at him and hits a double knee to the back of Striker, sandwiching him awkwardly in the corner. The crowd ohs. YUYO rolls back. She gets up and Striker grimaces in pain and YUYO runs over and wrenches his arm. She runs up the ropes to the top rope and then sings as she walks along the top rope and then dives off with the YUYO Funtime Song and Dance! The crowd ohs. YUYO dives onto Striker, hooking the legs.

Striker gets his shoulder up. YUYO rolls off. She then looks at him and makes a mean face again before running over and stomping him in the face once and then again and again and again. YUYO then throws her arms out and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a running shooting star press. She goes for the pin.

Striker kicks out again. YUYO rolls off. She then turns and looks around as Striker starts to get up. YUYO then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and jumps up, but Striker catches her and hits a death valley driver!

Sharper: “Striker didn’t hesitate! Caught her! Drove her down!”

Knots: “And he’s not hesitating again. To the top rope!”

Striker exits to the apron. He then climbs up to the top rope. He extends his arms to the heavens before diving off with a huge elbow drop to the chest of YUYO. He then hooks the leg.

YUYO’s shoulder shoots off the canvas. The crowd roars as SAWA and NEMO hop onto the apron. Pink Japanese and English lettering saying “FOREVER!” appear on the screen before they jump down. Striker rolls off and looks around. He then gets up and grabs YUYO and pulls her up. Striker drags her to her feet and then double underhooks her. He hoists her up and onto his shoulders, but YUYO kicks her legs and drops behind him. Striker swings back with a back elbow, but YUYO falls into the corner. Striker runs at her and YUYO jumps up and boots him in the face. Striker spins around and YUYO kicks him in the ribs and hits a DDT. YUYO rolls over and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope. Striker stirs a bit as YUYO gets to the top rope and then makes a heart symbol over her chest.

YUYO: “For love!”

She hits the DOKIDOKI! Stardust!

Sharper: “DOKIDOKI Stardust!”

Knots: “For love?!”

Sharper: “For the finals of the tournament?”

YUYO dives onto Striker.

The crowd roars. YUYO rolls off and throws her arm in the air before collapsing to the mat.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO!”

Sharper: “And yes! To the finals! YUYO outlasts Striker. That’s how this has to be viewed.”

Knots: “Striker did not hold back one inch and YUYO had enough to get through it…and now she has to do it again!”

Sharper: “Facing Marie Jones in a rematch from a couple of weeks ago in our finals! Winner faces Bree Lancaster at Rise to Greatness!”

Striker rolls over, holding his chest as YUYO looks around. SAWA runs over and helps her up as NEMO looks on stoically. Meowkazawa looks on concerned as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, Destiny Page stands with Matthew Knox in the interview area.

Page: “I am here with the Raven, Matthew Knox. You’ll be in action against Chris Dumont later tonight. But we saw JC return here earlier, attacking Gavin Taylor-“

Knox: “Does SCW have people here not named Chris? Chris Lawler. Chris Dumont. I think I saw a Chris Cannon running around at Taking Hold of the Flame. Do you have other people than Chris’s?”

Page: “Excuse me?”

Knox: “I’m deflecting your question. I’m focusing on my opponent tonight. I mean, that’s more than I can say about Deanna Frost. I’m glad she’s honoured I seem to recognize she holds gold and thus is important. I just want to beat her for that gold. And she doesn’t know what to say? Look, I’m sorry you’ve got a number of things going on, but you’re a champion, Deanna. Are you defending your title or not? Are you going to take on all comers? If I have a reputation – thanks for mentioning that…it’s a bit more than a reputation. I’ve kinda done a lot around in this sport…but this should be easy. Maybe I’m doing you a favour. You can focus on your personal issues, we can have a rematch after I take the title…of course, I need that match booked. Just saying…’

Page: “And JC-“

Knox sighs.

Knox: “My former friend…he seems to have other focuses. I hope. I have mine. I’ve moved on. Tell him hi for me if you see him.”

Knox then nods and heads off as Breakdown cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Eavan Maloney stands backstage, SCW Underground Championship proudly over her shoulder. Jaina Lancaster stands with her.

Jaina: “Welcome back to Breakdown. I’m here with the SCW Underground Champion, Eavan Maloney. And Maloney, Kim has made another challenge. James Evans has made his thoughts known. You have some thoughts.”

Eavan: “I’ll start with the one who deserves the opportunity. Had our match not been sullied by the involvement of one James Evans, I may have a bit more pride in this and I’d love to fix that. So Kim, this is easy. You have a rematch and I want to go to war again. And I understand SCW has a big event and we already left a lot in that ring the first round. I like getting bigger and badder and so Kim…Rise to Greatness-“

Just then, Eavan turns and gets her arms up as we see James Evans running into the scene and tackling her back into the wall. He then spins her around and throws her down. Eavan rolls through.

James: “Wrong choice-“

James then grabs her and Eavan nails him with a couple of shots before James knees her in the ribs and throws her hard against the wall.

Jaina: “Get help!”

Jaina yells out as Eavan gets up and we see James take out a chain from his pocket and wrap it around Eavan’s neck. Eavan struggles as James pulls back. Eavan kicks at the ground.

James: “You need to understand you control nothing in this. I am the one who is calling the shots!”

Eavan grabs at the chain, trying to get any air, eyes darting, looking for something to help her fight James off.

Jaina: “Help!”

Eavan fades a bit as James keeps pulling back before we then see Leroy Adams running into the scene from the side. He runs over and nails James with a hard right. James lets go and turns and Adams nails him with another hard right and then another before spinning him into the wall. James falls over and Leroy turns and checks on Eavan. Eavan, more angry, rolls over. James gets up and Leroy turns to him.

Adams: “Ya sure ya want to do that. I’m ready to throw down. Gotta jump her from behind. Choke her out. Big man, huh?”

James Evans gets up and officials jog into the scene, preventing this from escalating further. Leroy and James lock eyes while Eavan Maloney then gets up and lunges at James, only for officials to stop her.

Gigi Steward vs. Waylon Creek

SCW Television Championship

“That's My Girl” plays throughout the arena as the stage and video screen goes dark. Gigi’s video plays on the screen and she steps out on to the stage wearing a black leather with tiny metal spikes on it and also a bandana covering her face. The SCW World Tag Team Championship sits over her shoulder. She walks up to the center of the stage and stretches her arms out embracing the fans support for her.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television Championship. First, the challenger, from Los Angeles, California, she is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, Gigi Steward!”

She begins is march to the walk to the ring walking with a purpose. She gets to ringside and rushes into the ring rolling inside. She marches to the corner and hops on the middle ropes and throws out her own hand sign to the fans. She then rips off the bandana and tosses it into the crowd. Gigi hops off the ropes and takes off her jacket setting it aside for ring crew to pick up and she gets ready for her match. She hands off her World Tag Team Championship belt.

Sharper: “Gigi Steward and Katie Steward winning the Tag Titles two weeks ago. Gigi hoping to earn singles gold tonight.”

Knots: “Good luck. She’s going to face a very different type of wrestler and someone who maybe isn’t going to be so willing to engage in friendly competition. Waylon Creek lost it last week!”

The sound and image of a babbling brook overtake the PA and screen. Shortly after, a man dressed in a suit flickers onto the screen, standing in the middle of the creek, facing away from the camera. “Mountain Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens comes over the system, and from behind curtain emerges a muscular figure in a skull mask, adorned by torn up flannels, being led by a black lab on a leash.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Wailing Creek, Idaho, he is the SCW Television Champion, Waylon Creek!”

The dog leads the way as Waylon Creek, carrying the SCW Television Championship, follows close behind, looking around the arena. He hands the dog off to a stage hand when he gets to the ring and appears to say something to the dog. The dog sits calmly as Creek enters the ring up the steps. He calmly goes to his corner without any posing. He hands his title to Jennifer Cassidy, the official, who promptly holds it over her head. The SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Waylon Creek building up some wins here, so far dominant in the Television Championship ranks.”

Knots: “Tell that to Derek Adonis. He still can’t talk right.”

Sharper: “Keeping the Canary on, winning, and we’ve see Creek break it the moment the bell rings. Last week, not the case. And Creek is as dangerous as anyone we’ve seen in that ring.”

Creek looks at Gigi as Gigi stretches out. The bell sounds. Gigi steps out and Creek moves forward, moving aggressively. Gigi backs up and Creek swings and nails her in the side with a hard right and then another. Gigi sticks her body through the ropes for the break. Creek grabs her and nails her again with a hard right.

Creek is forced back. Gigi moves to the apron. Creek then turns and runs at her, but Gigi buries her shoulder into the ribs of Creek. Creek winces and spins around. Gigi springboards to the top rope and hits a clothesline off.

Sharper: “Gigi getting creative early. Going high-risk, and maybe all you can do against someone this aggressive.”

Knots: “Is this just Creek being aggressive or is there another purpose?”

Gigi gets up and runs over to Creek as he starts to stir and stomps him in the shoulder over and over and over. Creek falls to the ropes and Gigi stomps him in the head.

Gigi backs off and walks around the ring. Creek pulls himself up and he turns to Gigi who hits a dropkick, knocking him down. Gigi goes for the pin.

Creek kicks out. Both competitors get up and Gigi turns and kicks Creek in the ribs. She goes to whip him across, but Creek spins through and sends Gigi in. Gigi bounces off and Creek hits a big flapjack. Gigi pops up and rolls over back to the mat, holding her ribs.

Sharper: “And just launching in the air and pulling her down. Hard landing for the challenger!”

Knots: “Gigi bounced! I didn’t realize the Stewards were part flubber!”

Gigi Steward crawls to the ropes and uses them to pull herself up and turns around to Creek who runs at her and buries his knee in her ribs, causing her to flip over to her back. She rolls over and starts to get up. Waylon Creek then bends her over, pumphandles her and hits a pumphandle slam. He covers her.

Gigi kicks out. Creek rolls off and looks at her. She slowly gets up. Gigi rolls over and Creek runs at her and kicks her in the face. She falls back. Creek then hits a vicious elbow drop before getting up and hitting a second elbow drop. He moves and goes for the choke, choking her blatantly.

Creek lets go and looks out and then starts to get up. He grabs Gigi and pulls her up and whips her into the corner. Creek runs after and Gigi gets a boot up. Creek staggers back. He turns and runs at again and Gigi moves out of the way. Creek hits the corner hard chest first. Gigi runs out and hits a leg lariat, knocking him down.

Sharper: “Creek upping the aggressiveness. Gigi Steward now fighting for survival too!”

Knots: “Just trying to think as fast as she can.”

Creek stirs and Gigi grabs him and plants him with a DDT. She rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Creek pushes her off. Gigi rolls off and watches Creek as he starts to get up. Gigi runs into the ropes, bouncing off and catches him with a running knee to the face. Creek goes down. Gigi gets up and moves to the corner. She exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. She gets to the top and looks at Creek before diving off and hitting a frog splash. The crowd roars. She covers him again.

Creek kicks out again. Gigi rolls off as Creek stirs and Gigi runs over and stomps him in the back over and over and Creek gets up still, moving to the ropes. Gigi runs over and forearms him in the jaw.

Sharper: “Gigi not giving Creek any chance to get distance-“

Knots: “I don’t know if it’s going to help. But Gigi-“

Sharper: “IDU, maybe?”

Gigi grabs Creek’s head and runs out, but Creek shoves her off. Gigi bounces off and Creek kicks her on the rebound, spinning her around and into a neckbreaker. Creek gets up and pulls her up. He then pumphandles her again and hoists her up before dropping her throat first on the top rope. Gigi falls back. The crowd ohs. Creek slowly gets up and moves to the corner, waiting. Gigi fights up to her feet and turns as Creek steps up and locks in the Canary. The impact, causes Gigi to immediately fall back to the mat.

The bell sounds and Creek immediately lets go.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and still SCW Television Champion, Waylon Creek!”

Sharper: “Creek, locks in the Canary, and gets the pin!”

Knots: “Just forced Gigi down. The suddenness…at least he let go immediately.”

Sharper: “Unlike last week, but Creek racks up another win, this time against another veteran!”

Creek gets up and looks around before turning and calmly exiting the ring. He drops down to the mats and walks over to the crew member with Legion. The official walks over and hands Creek his title. Creek takes it and turns to Legion, slowly starting to walk to the back.

COMMERCIALS

We cut to a shot of Steve Griffin hitting a top rope decimator on CHBK from Rise to Greatness 2003, before cutting to a shot of Alistaire Allocco proudly holding the SCW World Championship and then showing a shot of Kelcey Wallace, Trinity Street and Lucas Knight standing over Ravyn Taylor and Kennedy Street at another Rise to Greatness event. A shot of Kandis smiling as she looks at the World Championship in her hand follows.

“This is your Rise to Greatness Rewind.”

The scene opens in the ring at Rise to Greatness 2019.

We open up in the main event where Glory Braddock, Alistaire Allocco and Syren compete for the World Championship. Syren then turns and walks over to Alistaire clubs him in the back and then again and again. She turns and runs into the ropes, bounces off and jumps up and hits the Total Makeover. Alistaire hits the mat. Syren then turns and goes for the pin.

Glory breaks it up. The crowd cheers. Syren rolls over as Glory rolls through. She starts to get up and Syren slowly pulls herself up and sees her. She lunges and goes for a clothesline, but Glory ducks and grabs her head and hits a neckbreaker. The crowd roars. Glory then slowly rolls over as the crowd rises to their feet, making noise. We then suddenly see Abigail Lindsay hopping the barricade and running up the steel steps and climbing up to the top rope. Glory staggers forward and looks up only for Abigail to hit Serenity Now! The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Abigail! God damn it! Abigail Lindsay! Serenity Now!”

Knots: “Oh God! Glory spiked! Of course Abigail!”

Sharper: “In Ravyn’s pocket, and this had to be what they discussed. A backup plan!”

Abigail turns and heads over to Syren and tries to help revive her as she turns and rolls over. Syren smiles as Alistaire grabs at the ropes and starts to pull himself up. Abigail then turns and runs at Alistaire, but Alistaire suddenly lifts Abigail up and back drops her over the top rope to the floor. The crowd cheers. Alistaire staggers back and Syren gets up and runs at him and Alistiare hits a straight kick to the ribs and then backs up and hits the Sins of the Father! The crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “Sins of the Father! Alistaire caught Syren!”

Knots: “Cover her! Cover her!”

Syren falls to the mat and to her back and Alistaire turns and falls onto her.

The crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “We have a new World Champion!”

Phillips: “Here is your winner and NEW SCW World Champion, Alistaire Allocco!”

Alistaire rolls off as the crowd cheers. Demitra turns and is handed the SCW World Championship. He turns and hands the title to Alistaire who looks at it and smiles and grabs it, before clutching it, falling to his knees.

Sharper: “Alistaire Allocco did exactly as he said! He fought his match! He beat them in the ring! And he pinned Syren to become the World Champion!”

The Rise to Greatness XXI logo comes up on the screen.

Matthew Knox vs. Chris Dumont

“Wild Thing” by X plays as the crowd cheers a bit. A few moments pass before “The Ronin” Chris Dumont walks out from the back. He looks around the arena, taking it all in before starting to head to the ring. He throws his fist in the air as he does, focusing on the battleground before him.

Phillips: “Fans, the following contest, scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit! Introducing first, the challenger, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is The Ronin, Chris Dumont!”

The crowd cheers a bit as Dumont heads to the ring and hops onto the apron. He wipes his feet and enters before heading over to the corner, raising his fist as he does.

Sharper: “You ready for another hard fought match. I don’t know if Chris Dumont knows anything but strong style.”

Knots: “We’re going to hear some hard shots. Both strikers. Both will use it. And it’s going to get painful for both!”

The houselights cut out, a single Raven cries out soon joined by another, then another until the cries of an entire unkindness fill the house sound system, soon broken by "Hell Broke Luce" by Tom Waits cutting through, the house lights coming up to a dull blue as a single white strobe light pulses in time to the song's percussion. Standing in the middle of that pulsing light, back to the ring, stands Matthew Knox adorned in his ring gear and a sleeveless hoodie.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, he is the Raven, Matthew Knox!”

Arms outstretched like a bird in flight he pivots on a heel and begins making his way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and picking a corner to charge and leap upon to scream the audience into a frenzy. He takes a lap around the ring, before kneeling in a corner and patiently waiting for the ringbell to sound.

Sharper: “Knox has been focusing on the US Champion. Deanna Frost trying to make sense of The Enigma’s challenge, but she’s so distracted.”

Knots: “That’s not good. That’s a recipe for disaster. Deanna Frost is getting pulled in too many directions. And someone like Knox, who wants to make that impact, knows how, that’s going to be a problem!”

The bell sounds as Knox and Dumont size each other up. They then step forward and lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another. Knox moves into a side headlock. Knox holds on and then smirks before kneeing Dumont in the top of the head while Knox has control. He does it again and Dumont pushes out and Knox shrugs. Dumont then lunges and nails him with a forearm. Knox staggers back and fires back with one of his own. The crowd roars as Dumont fires back; Knox returns fire. They trade forearm blows before Dumont goes for a spinning back fist and Knox ducks and both spin around. Knox grabs Dumont in a clinch and then knees Dumont in the face once and then and again and again before Dumont pushes away, falling to a knee and over to the ropes.

Sharper: “Oh boy. This is already getting stiff. Hard knees by Knox.”

Knots: “Dumont wanted it. Knox started it. Let’s go!”

Dumont then gets up as Knox steps up and Dumont tackles him down. He nails him with a hard forearm and another before Knox then manages to move in to position and tries to go for a Gogoplata, but Dumont pushes away. He rolls over and Knox rolls back. Knox gets up and Dumont steps up and hits a spinning back fist. The crowd ohs as Knox staggers into the corner. Dumont runs over and nails him with a hard right and then a left before another hard right and then grabs Knox and whips him across the ring. Dumont runs after and Knox runs out and hits a hits a running knee, knocking Dumont down. Knox dives for the pin.

Dumont kicks out. The crowd roars as Dumont rolls over, moving to the ropes. He gets up and Knox kicks him in the ribs before pulling him in and hits a snap suplex.

Sharper: “Hard snap suplex. Simple and effective.”

Knots: “Everything is. And it’s all hurting. Both of them!”

Dumont rolls over and gets up and Knox hits a shot kick to the shin and then a spinning back kick to the ribs. Dumont falls back into the corner. Knox heads over and nails him with a hard right and then another before pulling him out and into his arms. Dumont however breaks it and then headbutts Knox. Knox staggers back. He steps forward and Dumont hits a Bicycle Code Zero. The crowd ohs again as Knox falls back to a knee. He gets up and Dumont grabs him and wrenches his arm, bending him over and hitting a wrist clutch suplex. Dumont turns and hooks the leg.

Knox kicks out. Dumont rolls off. Knox winces and rolls over. Dumont then kicks him in the ribs. He hooks him up and hoists him up and drops him on the top rope before swinging him back with an Ode to Tully. Knox hits and rolls out of the ring to the floor. (1) He moves to the barricade.

Sharper: “Knox going to the floor. A good veteran move there. Dumont just pouring it on.”

Knots: “And just like David Striker. He doesn’t know how to stop!”

Knox looks up as Dumont runs across the ring. He bounces off the ropes. (2) He then goes for the Arrow from the Depths of Hell but Knox just moves out of the way and Dumont goes through the ropes and crashes to the floor, rolling hard into the barricade. The crowd ohs from the impact. (1) Dumont winces, holding his shoulder and gets up only for Knox to grab him from behind and hit a release German suplex. Dumont backflips through, landing on his stomach as the crowd roars again. (2) Knox gets up and grabs Dumont and turns and rolls him into the ring. Dumont rolls over, staggering up. Knox slides in and gets up and takes him back down with a crescent kick. He follows up with a pin.

Dumont kicks out. Dumont rolls over as Knox looks up and then grabs him by the head and arm. He drags him up and pulls him in before hooking his head and his leg and hitting a bridging fisherman’s suplex.

Dumont kicks out again.

Sharper: “Another nearfall. Knox keeping it on Dumont. More making sure it wasn’t a fluke or instinct. Again, throwing him around.”

Knots: “Dumont feels like he’s in a pinball machine after that. And this is after the two just wore each other down with hard strikes.”

Dumont starts to get up and Knox elbows him in the back of the head and then snapmares him over. He kicks Dumont in the back. The crowd ohs. Knox forces him down and jumps up and hits a jumping stomp. He steps forward as Dumont rolls over. Knox turns and then runs into the ropes. He bounces off and goes for a spinning back kick to the jaw, but Dumont ducks and spins around him. He then hits a bridging German suplex.

Knox rolls his shoulder up. He rolls over and starts to get up and turns and Dumont hoists him onto his shoulders and drops him with the Thrill of the Hunt. The crowd erupts. Dumont presses down on Knox’s chest for the pin.

Knox shoots his shoulder up again. Knox rolls over and Dumont turns and grabs him. He then pulls him up and clubs him in the back before grabbing him by the arm. He wrenches it and pulls him in for a Code Zero, but Knox sidesteps and runs past him and jumps to the middle rope. Dumont turns around as Knox hits a springboard cutter.

Sharper: “Knox! Off the ropes! Big dodge! Big counter! Big cutter!”

Knots: “Dumont was looking to knock him out and Knox decided he wanted to do something else! Like drop him face first into the mat!”

Knox rolls over and gets up as the lights suddenly drop, and in the silence, Ghost’s “Hunter’s Moon” to play with its haunting melody. The music builds and lights flash, leading up to the chorus, signaling an arrival.

Though my memories have faded
They come back to haunt me once again
And though my mind is somewhat jaded now

‘The Bogeyman’ JC steps out onto the stage as Knox looks up. JC heads to the ring with more purpose than before. Knox looks around and then turns and stomps Dumont as he starts to get up and JC reaches the ring. He pulls himself onto the apron and then steps into the ring. Knox just puts his hand up only for JC to immediately blast him with a hard right. The bell sounds as Knox then rolls out of the ring. JC runs after him and goes to grab him, but Knox ends up on the floor and falls to the apron.

Sharper: “JC with a hard right. That’s going to be a disqualification!”

Knots: “And Knox rolled right out. He does not want to fight JC!”

Dumont looks up and sees JC in the ring and then runs at him and nails him in the back once and then again and again. Dumont then pulls him back and JC staggers back into the ropes, bouncing off and drilling Dumont with the Big Boot of Death. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Dumont realized JC had ruined this match for him. And JC, much fresher, just swatted him down. That Big Boot of Death!”

Knots: “Gavin! Dumont! Knox! JC decided no talk. Just violence!”

JC looks at Knox as Knox walks around the ring, shaking his head. He mutters something to himself and glances back before looking up. JC just keeps watching Knox as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Waylon Creek returning to his locker room with Legion. He just nods at Legion before we see Chris Lawler storming over to him.

Lawler: “You! You did this! I knock over your paper accidentally and you decide to do this?!”

Creek looks at Lawler, no emotion on his face. Legion immediately leans against Creek.

Lawler: “You have no right for this! NONE! This was my past and-“

Creek suddenly lunges and locks in the Canary on Chris Lawler. Lawler grabs at the arm as Creek just snaps, pushing him back. Lawler falls to a knee as he keeps pushing back. Officials run into the scene and quickly start to try and pull Creek back. Legion even barks and Creek lets go and pushes Lawler back. Lawler coughs as he slides back. Officials keep Creek back as he turns and acknowledges Legion before entering his locker room. Lawler just looks at him as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

The lights dim, only a few small ones on the stage as the voice of Bree Lancaster whispers:

“I am the light of the truth
The one who sees right through”

A guitar riff plays as the small lights dance around the stage, then suddenly stop, as one large beam shines down onto the figure of Bree herself. The SCW Adrenaline Championship glistens in the spotlight as it sits over Bree’s shoulder.

“Spotlight”

The smaller lights begin again swirling as the music of “Spotlight” by Fozzy kicks in and Bree makes her way down the ramp.

Bree smiles at the front row fans as she gets to the ring and goes up the steps, stepping through the ropes. She goes to a corner and gets on the second turnbuckle, posing with one hand up overhead. The crowd cheers.

[You're the wicked, I'm a sharp knife
Shining on you like a spotlight
I'm a witness, I'm a dark night]

The lights go down, and one beam shines on Bree in the corner.

[You're a sickness, I'm your spotlight]

The lights come up and Bree hops down as the music fades out. Bree exits from the ring and goes over to the announce position.

Sharper: “And before we see the finals of this tournament, the Adrenaline Champion will join us. Bree Lancaster will be on commentary for this one.”

Knots: “How does Selena Frost feel about this? Adrenaline Title is the main event.”

Sharper: “I don’t really care. We’ve seen these two compete hard all night. We could see rematch of Taking Hold of the Flame or YUYO could earn a title opportunity.”

Bree sits down and puts on her headset.

Sharper: “Bree, thanks for joining us.”

Bree: “Great to be here.”

Sharper: “You’ve been the matches all night. YUYO. Marie. Who are you hoping to meet?”

Bree: “Been in the ring with both. I’m not going to push for anyone. I want to see the two bring it here and I want to see a challenger that has earned the shot to face me. I’ve said I’ll prove it in the ring. Let’s have them do that too.”

SCW Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament Finals

"You and I walk a fragile line
I have known it all this time

Phillips: “The following contest is the finals in the Adrenaline Championship Contendership Tournament scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Phoenix, Marie Jones!”

Something's made your eyes go cold"

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the arena. Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring. As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story. Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring. She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd. Marie glances over to Bree.

Sharper: “Marie looking over at you. You defeated her at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Bree: “She wins tonight, I know I’ll be facing a much more dangerous Marie. She has that extra knowledge. The extra motivation. All of that.”

Sharper: “A very different style here with YUYO.”

Knots: “Yeah. Something tells me a headache would be in store.”

Bree: “She has skill though. She’s earned this spot. She’s won two matches tonight. She may be a bit out there. And she’s now got back-up, but so far, she’s done the one thing right – she competes.”

Knots: “For justice?”

Bree: “Apparently.”

The bell sounds as YUYO and Jones circle the ring. The crowd cheers as they lock up in the middle. They push back on one another before Jones turns and wrenches the arm. YUYO flips forward and winces and Jones turns and steps over her and moves YUYO to her stomach. Marie then pulls her up and snapmares her over. YUYO ends up in a seated position. Marie jumps up and locks in a headscissors. She pulls her back and YUYO nips out. Both get up and YUYO grabs Marie’s arm and wrenches it. Marie moves to the ropes and holds the top rope and backflips out. YUYO holds on and then pulls Marie in and into an arm drag. Marie rolls through. Both get up and YUYO hits a dropkick. Marie hits the mat and rolls over and turns and YUYO runs over and does a handstand into a headscissors and takes Marie over. Marie rolls through and spins around on her back. YUYO moves to her and Marie nips up, catching YUYO’s head and takes her over with a frankensteiner. YUYO rolls over and gets up and Marie hits a fireman’s carry and locks in a reverse chinlock.

Sharper: “And Marie using her experience. Her technical ability. Nice chinlock now. And remember, both have had two matches so far.”

Knots: “YUYO had a rough second match too and right now, that may be playing a role.”

YUYO grabs at the hands and head of Marie and pulls herself up and hits a jawjacker. Marie pops back, holding her jaw. YUYO gets up and somersaults forward to her feet. Marie runs at her and YUYO hits a straight kick to the stomach. Marie falls back and YUYO runs at her and hits a sunset flip into a pin.

Marie kicks out. Both get up and Marie hits an inside cradle into a pin.

YUYO kicks out and Marie gets up and YUYO chops her. The crowd woos. She chops her again. More woos. She whips Marie into the ropes. Marie bounces off and YUYO goes to grab her, but Marie somersaults under and then gets to her feet only to backflips back, catching YUYO by the head in a headscissors and takes her over. YUYO hits the mat and rolls to the floor. YUYO turns to the ring and Marie turns and runs to the ropes and grabs the top rope. She goes for a vaulting press. YUYO moves out of the way. Marie lands on the apron and then runs at YUYO and hits a flip dive off the apron, taking YUYO down.

Sharper: “And Marie Jones off the apron. YUYO wiped out by the somersault plancha.”

Bree: “YUYO through she got past, but Marie thought quick and made her rue that.”

Sharper: “The Shining Maidens looking on too and that’s all they can do. They’re not going to risk a disqualification for their leader.”

Bree: “So that’s the situation there?”

Sharper: “So I am told.”

Marie turns and grabs YUYO and pulls her up and rolls her into the ring. Marie rolls in after as YUYO gets up and Marie runs at her and hits a leg lariat. She turns and goes for the pin.

YUYO kicks out. YUYO rolls over and stirs as Marie then grabs her and whips her into the corner. Marie runs after and hits a running clothesline. She then grabs YUYO and snapmares her over. Marie turns and jumps to the middle rope and then to the top rope and hits a split-legged moonsault, but YUYO gets her knees up. Marie stumbles back, holding he ribs. YUYO then gets up and runs over and grabs her head and hits a running DDT. YUYO turns and dives onto Marie.

Marie kicks out. Marie rolls over and gets up and YUYO jumps up and dropkicks her back down. YUYO then runs at her and hits a shooting star press into a pin.

Marie kicks out again. Marie rolls away and YUYO follows her.

Sharper: “YUYO keeping the pressure on. High tempo. One mistake by Marie and it’s hurting her big.”

Knots: “Can she even get a deep breath in as YUYO hasn’t stopped an inch!”

Marie gets up in the corner and YUYO hits a back elbow before a kick to the ribs. She then grabs her and points across.

YUYO: “For justice!”

YUYO hits a running bulldog. She rolls Marie over and hooks the leg.

Marie gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and starts to get up. Marie turns to YUYO who jumps up and hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

Marie kicks out. She gets up at the ropes and YUYO runs at her and Marie launches her overhead and back drops her to the floor. The crowd ohs. Marie falls to a knee, taking a moment to catch her breath.

Sharper: “Oh my! A hard landing for YUYO who crashed right to the mats.”

Bree: “Marie needed that badly. YUYO was just smothering her.”

YUYO rolls over, holding her lower back. She slowly gets up and Marie then runs across the ring, bouncing off and runs at the ropes before hitting a Fosbury Flop over the top rope and onto YUYO. The crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “Marie! Backflipping over the top rope and landing on YUYO!”

Knots: “She knew she needed a direct hit!”

Sharper: “Bullseye!”

Marie leans against the barricade and looks up and grabs YUYO. She drags her up and turns and rolls her into the ring. YUYO’s head remaining on the apron and Marie pulls herself up and jumps up and hits a leg drop. The crowd ohs. YUYO rolls back into the ring. Marie slides in and goes over to her and hooks the leg.

YUYO gets her shoulder up. Marie rolls off. She gets up and walks around the ring. YUYO instinctively starts to get up and Marie runs at her and hits a spin kick to the knee. YUYO drops to her knees and Marie runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a shining wizard. The crowd ohs. She turns and hooks the leg.

YUYO just gets her shoulder up in time.

Bree: “I’ll admit I didn’t she would!”

Sharper: “YUYO kicking out just in time. That was two and three quarters!”

YUYO rolls to her side. Marie Jones looks at her and grabs her, pulling her up to her feet. She forearms her and YUYO goes down. Marie grabs her again and pulls her up again. She forearms her again and YUYO falls into the corner. Marie grabs her and whips her across the ring. Marie runs after her, but YUYO sidesteps and then spins around and hits a jumping back elbow. The crowd ohs. She then kisses her for good measure before pulling her out and then hitting a DDT. She covers Marie.

Marie gets her shoulder up. Both get up and YUYO then grabs Marie and locks in the Cub Hug. Marie struggles, trying to get free and to get a breath as YUYO keeps squeezing. She keeps doing so and Marie falls back into the ropes.

YUYO lets go and rolls back. Marie slowly gets up and YUYO runs at her and hits a running knee. Marie pops back and leans against the ropes. She staggers out and YUYO looks at her.

YUYO: “FOR VICTORY!”

YUYO jumps up for a hurricanrana, but Marie holds her up and swings her down and then moves her arms to lock in the Angel’s Arch! The crowd erupts as Marie leans back. YUYO yells in pain.

YUYO: “Noooo! For Pain! For Pain!”

SAWA looks on concerned as NEMO watches.

Bree: “You got caught YUYO. And I know exactly how this feels!”

Sharper: “Trying to bend the back in a way it’s not supposed. Shades of her mother with the Angel’s Arch and will it earn Marie a rematch!”

Marie keeps the hold on as YUYO yells out. She looks around, trying to reach for anything. Marie arches back as YUYO grits her teeth. She reaches out and Marie keeps the hold on. The official, Aaron Demitra, checks on YUYO as YUYO starts to move forward, reaching out. She crawls forward, trying to get closer and closer. Marie moves with her. YUYO reaches out and gets closer before Marie then steps forward and drags her back out, but YUYO tucks under and moves under and ends up on her back. She nails Marie with a hard right and then another. Marie lets go and staggers back. YUYO gets up and Marie runs at her and YUYO hits a drop toe hold out of desperation. She rolls over and slides back to the corner. YUYO winces as YUYO puts her finger to her mouth. She then pumps her leg up and down.

She runs out and Marie catches her with a Pele Kick. YUYO falls back to a seated position. The crowd ohs. Marie crawls up to her feet and looks around winces.

Sharper: “Marie still saw it coming! Magical Knee. Not happening as YUYO maybe took too long.”

Knots: “Good on the crowd not to chant though.”

Marie then sees YUYO and heads over to her. She pulls her up and grabs her by the head. The crowd roars and YUYO suddenly shoves her off. Marie bounces off and YUYO lunges and hits the Magical Knee. SAWA and NEMO run into position and jump up, a bit late, as the Japanese and English pink lettering writing “EXPLOSION!” on the screen come up. YUYO falls on top of Marie.

Knots: “EXPLOSION!”

Sharper: “Magical Knee connected! YUYO on top!”

The bell sounds. The crowd roars.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and the number one contender to the SCW Adrenaline Championship…Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO!”

YUYO looks around as SAWA and NEMO enter the ring. Meowkazawa applauds.

Sharper: “YUYO winning and Bree, there’s your challenger!”

Bree: “Very interesting. This is going to be very different.”

Knots: “She proved it in the ring-“

Bree: “Don’t worry, I will too.”

YUYO is helped up by SAWA and NEMO. The crowd cheers as her music plays throughout the arena. Bree stands up at ringside and applauds her. YUYO raises her arm as the crowd cheers her. As she does, we then see a fourth Japanese woman, dressed similarly to YUYO running out from the back. She runs down to the ring and slides in. Before SAWA and NEMO can do anything, she runs over and YUYO sees her, a bit confused. NEMO and SAWA are too before this woman embraces YUYO. She then steps back. The camera catching her saying “You did it! You did it!” YUYO nods. Bree turns back to Sharper, confused.

Bree: “You know her?”

Knots: “There another Shining Maiden?”

Sharper: “She looks familiar, I just can’t put my finger on it. This celebratory moment now muted a bit as even YUYO looks uncertain! But nonetheless, YUYO and Lancaster to face for the Adrenaline Championship at Rise to Greatness!”

The scene then slowly fades to black…
