“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

MAIN SHOW:

The opening bars of “The Old Me” by Memphis May Fire play as the Breakdown logo flies across the screen.

I'm thinking about the old me

'Cause I've been feeling empty

I never used to be so dead inside

Shots of Selena Frost celebrating with the World Championship start before we see a shot of the Konrad Raab, bloodied, standing tall in the ring. Following this is Cid Turner punching CHBK in the concourse. Ace Marshall hitting the Air Marshall on an opponent follows.

I think I lost my memory

I can't remember carefree

And all my days turn into fight or flight

Holly Adams standing on Asher Hayes at Tactical Warfare follows before we see Syren hitting the Total Makeover on an opponent. Bree Lancaster hitting the Classifier on Aaron Blackbourne follows before we see Polly Playtime diving off the top rope and landing on an opponent with a crossbody..

I wanna get back, tell me how to get back

I wanna get back, tell me how to get back

Holly Adams throwing Syren into the windshield of a pink convertible follows before we see Kandis and Tommy Valentine holding the SCW World Tag Team Championship. Ravyn Taylor standing on the ropes, looking down at herself, follows before we see Gavin Taylor hitting an opponent with the Gavin Taylor Lariat. Glory Braddock hitting the London Plunge on a downed opponents is next before we see Tsunami hitting a running body avalanche on an opponent in the corner.

Say it again, say it again, tell me what I wanna hear

Tell me that I'm gonna be fine and there's nothing left to fear

'Cause I've been losing sleep (losing sleep)

Trying to get back to who I used to be

Where is the old me?

Autumn Valentine hitting the Blindspot on a foe follows before we see a shot of Owen Lee and Daisy Lee on their way to the ring, and then a shot of Kimberly Williams licking a staple gun. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are live in the heart of Texas as the Road to Rise to Greatness is here. We have our main event set – Selena Frost will defend her World Championship against Adam Allocco at the biggest stage in wrestling!”

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd. After a few moments, the cameras cut to the stage.

BELIEVE IT!

The SCW Universe are on their feet as  “Kings and Queens” by Ava Max as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe. The SCW World Championship is over her shoulder.

Sharper: “And we start off by hearing from still our World Champion, Selena Frost! Adam Sharper here at ringside. I’m joined by Simon Lyman and Jonathan Knots.”

Knots: “We were this close to getting the Brand on top. To a new way forward!”

Sharper: “Selena Frost has been as unstoppable as any. Another impressive victory over GiGi Aries at Taking Hold of the Flame!”

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward, her back arm lifted behind her to the sky. With a lift of her right foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arms, the Winter’s Knight walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. She then steps over to the middle of the ring and looks around before turning and grabbing a microphone waiting for her on the apron. She takes it and walks over to the middle of the ring. Her music fades out as Selena looks around. The crowd buzzes a bit as Selena enjoys the moment briefly.

Selena: “Well looks like we’re on the road to another one, True Believers.”

The crowd cheers a bit.

Selena: “Giovanni Aries…you tried. You tried real hard. And in fact, part of me is a little bit surprised.”

Selena nods.

Selena: “I expected more of the same. More of the run-ins. Maybe someone paid off. Maybe Cid or Holly coming out. At least Samuel Davies or Davis or whatever his name is now. And yet, you kept it one on one. Sure, you had some of your fans, fans I’ll never understand. I’ll never understand why people want to be conned by you and Holly and Cid.”

Selena pauses.

Selena: “And yet, the Brand is not holding the World Championship. Nirvana is not coming. Some new era is not beginning. Instead, I have managed since December to now to beat everyone in the Brand. All of you and held onto this. The SCW World Championship. And believe me, I was going to do what I had to, within the confines of this squared circle to make sure that was the case. Because of one thing…the respect I have for this title.”

Selena looks at the camera as the crowd cheers.

Selena: “You may have decided to take me on one on one, but I don’t trust you, any of you, in the slightest. Maybe it was arrogance! Maybe you thought you would get in my head. I don’t know about that. I just know one thing…I am defending the SCW World Championship at Rise to Greatness!”

The crowd cheers.

Selena: “I have done the one thing I wanted to do. To keep this away from you, and to rebuild the integrity of the title. By coming out to this ring and making it a true test of who is the best! Period!”

The crowd cheers again as Selena looks around.

Selena: “And that brings me to who will stand across the ring from me at Rise to Greatness XIX. It’s a bit of a coincidence, given that the man who was targeting last year’s opponent for me is now the one standing in front of me, but it’s a very different person…and that’s Adam Allocco.”

The crowd roars.

Selena: “And Adam, first off…congratulations, two fold. First for winning the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal, but second, for getting the help it seems you needed. Now, Adam, I know we’ll hear from you later. I hope you’re watching me now though. Six months ago, if you had told me this would be my match, I wouldn’t believe it. You were a mess. Maybe that’s even too kind. You were frankly someone who should not have been in this ring. When you were barely holding it together, you were being manipulated by the exact people that should never be near this title, like Matt Hodges.”

Selena pauses as the crowd boos, hearing his name.

Selena: “And frankly, you were already someone like that. From using your son’s injury to motivate yourself, to parading your escapades around here like you were some hot shot, when you were falling apart at the seams.”

Selena pauses again.

Selena: “So why am I dwell on this while you’ve seemingly turned a page, in part needing to do so. Passing drug tests, making sure you’re clean, but also having gotten a new contract…”

Selena looks around as she then leans on the ropes.

Selena: “Because Adam…you’re fighting for this. Taking Hold of the Flame was a big stage. And you went through a lot. You outlasted the field and a lot of talent. A lot of hungry talent. But I will do anything to make sure this title is above the noise, above the chaos, above the controversy. And frankly Adam, for years that’s all you were. So far, you’re walking the right path. But there’s one thing I can offer you…keep walking that path, meet me at Rise to Greatness and give me your best fight. I will still do everything to keep this title, but maybe, for the first time since your son was holding this title, the Allocco name can be revered. Good news for you though…it can be yours no matter if you’re standing victorious or not…”

The camera cuts in close on Selena.

Selena: “BELIEVE IT!”

“Kings and Queens” by Ava Max plays as Selena steps back. The crowd cheers her as she turns and hands the microphone back to Jason Phillips.

Sharper: “Selena Frost with her opening statement as she and Allocco are on the collision course.”

Lyman: “Old Adam is everything she wanted nothing to do with. New Adam could be a hell of a match. We know Adam Allocco can go.”

Knots: “And self-righteousness strikes again!”

Sharper: “She’s making sure Adam Allocco is ready for this. It wasn’t that long again that we were all concerned about his approach to this sport. He seems to be getting it together. And we hope he can keep it together.”

Selena Frost turns and exits the ring. She drops down and starts to high-five fans as we cut to ringside where Adam Sharper, Simon Lyman and Jonathan Knots seat at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman. We’ve heard from Selena Frost. We will hear from our Taking Hold of the Flame winner, Adam Allocco, later tonight. But that’s not all is it?”

Knots: “Not at all. Looks like we’re going to see a huge main event and it looks like Owen Lee has his eyes on Josh Hudson.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen before we see a shot of Owen Lee vs. Glory Braddock.

Knots: “Glory Braddock was who Josh Hudson won the US Title against in the tournament. Plus Glory is very damn similar in styles to Hudson. The submission focus. And well, you know what, let’s see if the kid can go.”

Lyman: “He can go. But we’ll also see hubris finally overtake our TV Champion.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen before we see a shot of Jenni Anderson vs. Deanna Frost for the SCW Television Championship.

Lyman: “Jenni has weaseled out of two matches against Deanna. Now, if she doesn’t fight, has someone else fight for her, interfere, she’s no longer TV Champion. So Deanna gets her match or we have a new title and as Cruze said at Taking Hold of the Flame, Deanna can restore the integrity of the title just as Selena Frost has tried for the World Title.”

Sharper: “That and much more. We expect to hear Syren who was that close to going to the main event of Rise to Greatness. We know the Brand will be busy tonight and so much more.”

We cut backstage as we see Holly Adams standing in front of Samuel Davis, who is leaning on his hand, while sitting in the corner. The Artist Formerly Known as Clamidiya, and most recently known as Fantasia Sanderson III sits off to the side. GiGi is sitting cross-legged on the vanity. Cid Turner and Cookie Dream are in the back of the room.

Holly: “Okay, Taking Hold of the Flame…that was….not good. Look, we’ve had some tough times for the Brand. Some horrible events have derails us as some people don’t know how to control themselves. And then…of course, Selena, ruins everything. She can’t help that we help people.”

GiGi: “A true shame. The negativity with her.”

Holly: “And what about Adam? I tried to help him. There was a time where he’d look at me and just follow me everywhere. He has changed and I don’t know if it’s for the better but…”

Davis: “But what’s the point?!”

GiGi turns to Davis.

Holly: “Excuse me?”

GiGi: “Holly, allow me.”

He gets up and walks over to him.

GiGi: “What’s the point? The point is not for an easy route. Remember the challenges I threw your way earlier this year. When you first started on this path…this is just another period of darkness you need to get through, with our guidance of course. But if you are going to be weak here, this is something we need to work on.”

Holly: “Exactly. No room for weakness here. Taking Hold of the Flame had no successes-“

Cid: “Well, I did retain the Adrenaline Championship. Beat Autumn. Even Datura-“

Holly turns to Cid.

Holly: “Cidnay! What are you blathering about?”

Cid: “Well it’s not all bad. I mean we’ve got some success. Something to build on-“

Holly: “Cidnay…I didn’t take you to be so selfish. The Positive State is going well. Sure, you have Cookie, but has Datura signed anything? We need to be getting her on the plan and I don’t know if she can pay. So until then, we focus on our paying customers and try to CHANGE lives. And plus, we need to ensure our the Holly Adams Brand, trademarked, repairs its damaged image. Outside of SCW. It’s been sterling until recently. STERLING…”

Aries: “Holly…breathe. You’re letting the negativity take over. You too Cid.”

Cid: “I think I’m being pretty damn positive.”

Cookie goes to speak, but Aries cuts her off.

Aries: “Cidnay. Language. We need to calm down. Tonight is a big night. To rebuild the positivity. To ensure the Brand and the Haus is the symbol for excellence in terms of positivity.”

Holly: “Exactly. GiGi gets it. Cid…you used to. Figure it out.”

Holly turns back to their two wards.

Holly: “Both of you. Samuel…and…”

Holly snaps her fingers.

Holly: “I know the exact attitude you need. You, this week, are Christy-Lizbeth.”

Cid: “Wait? Christa-Elizabe-“

Holly turns.

Holly: “NO! Christy-Lizbeth. Nothing like that ogre’s name. Okay? Plus, it’s better…and she can be better…Come on CL…”

Holly smiles as “Christy-Lizbeth” looks around. Holly motions to her as they leave the locker room as the scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns as Shaun Cruze is dealing with Lexy Chapel backstage.

Cruze: “Look, Lexy-“

Chapel: “No! YOU look. Someone took my phone. SOMEONE is trying to con me. I don’t know how or why. But THIS is totally a conspiracy against me and now Ace is missing and I don’t know-“

Cruze: “Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let’s step back here. First, who is conning you? We had security look for the person-“

Chapel: “Not hard enough and they’ve not done anything yet, but I KNOW it. Okay. I know SOMEONE is trying to-“

Cruze: “So someone took your phone. But there’s nothing more there. Look, you can’t jump to the conclusion. But in the meantime, cancel your phone plan and get a new phone!”

Chapel: “Then how can I reach out to them for when they want a ransom. DUH! And frankly, there’s other reasons. Super professional reasons. Important contracts and stuff. Yeah!”

Cruze rolls his eyes.

Cruze: “Well as we said, SCW will help-“

Chapel: “Yeah. Sure. That’s why I’m here. You’ve got to be behind. Well not you…but SCW, big SCW. Been behind everything. Trying to distract me while Autumn gets screwed again. Ace Marshall is becoming all moody and not here.”

Cruze: “I should ask about that. He’s not here either. He’s your client-“

Chapel: “I know! Okay! But I can’t be dealing with this AND that. I’m one woman. So I’m just here to tell you that YOU won’t break me. Okay! And Lionel Barkz, Lawyer Dog, is drafting some great briefs if SCW IS behind it. And for whoever IS behind it.”

Cruze: “Okay…message received, Lexy.”

Chapel points to Cruze before backing up.

Chapel: “Good!”

Cruze: “Now about Aut-“

Chapel: “NO! I’m not hearing any more lies and distractions. I have to find the truth!”

Chapel turns and heads off as Cruze watches her leave.

We then open up at ringside as “Calm Like a Bomb” plays in the background. Alexis Quinne is now at ringside, seated at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome back to ringside. We have a guest here tonight. You said you wanted to join us at ringside. Alexis Quinne, welcome.”

Quinne: “Thanks for having me. May as well watch some of the stars since I’m now off his week. Christy not cleared for tonight. But that’s fine. I can get ready before I watch my Warriors win another one!”

Lyman: “I’m right there with you.”

Christy-Lizbeth vs. Crissy Gomez

We cut to the ring as we see a young woman in the ring, stretching out.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, from El Paso, Texas, this is Crissy Gomez!”

She throws her arm in the air.

Sharper: “Crissy Gomez getting a big opportunity here. Crystal Zdunich was supposed to take this match but personal issues have prevented her from being her tonight. We hope that she will be back in future weeks.”

Knots: “This is just in Christy-Lizbeth’s benefit. She can build that confidence.”

Quinne: “I’d rather the tougher challenge. Nothing meant to downplay Gomez here, but Zdunich is a former TV champ. That looks better on the resume if you’re looking to build yourself up and you can’t shy from that! I mean I offered to go in there, but Cruze told me he has other plans.”

“One Shining Moment” by Luther Vandross plays as the crowd roars a bit. A few moments pass before we see Christy-Lizbeth walking out from the back with GiGi Aries and Samuel Davis. Davis looks in the ring and then turns to GiGi. GiGi ignores this reaction as Christy-Lizbeth starts to head to the ring, trying to feign confidence.

Sharper: “They’ve not even updated the entrance!”

Knots: “Hey! They’re focusing on results!”

Lyman: “With the amount of money they bring in.”

Phillips: “Her opponent, accompanied by GiGi Aries and Samuel Davis, from the Haüs of Nirvana, she is Christy-Lizbeth!”

They head to the ring and Christy-Lizbeth walks up the steel steps and into the ring. Davis walks over to GiGi getting his attention. He instead tells him to sage the ringside area and hands him some. Davis reluctantly lights it, walking around the ring as Aries settles in Christy-Lizbeth’s corner. She then looks across at Gomez and nods as the music fades out.

Sharper: “Davis will be in action against Beard later.”

Knots: “He’s farther along!”

Sharper: “He’s coming off some tough losses though.”

Quinne: “Maybe get back on the horse.”

Lyman: “You don’t think this is legit.”

Quinne: “Look, I’m going to call it like I see it. I know nothing about what Holly or GiGi is doing. Just saying, sometimes its best to get on the horse.”

The bell sounds as Christy-Lizbeth steps out. Gomez does too. The two lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Gomez turns into an arm wrench. She holds on and wrenches the arm again. CL winces in pain. Gomez then kicks her in the ribs and whips her into the ropes. CL bounces off and Gomez hits a back elbow. She turns and then goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Crissy Gomez has a bit of fire in her and already getting in the face of GiGi Aries!”

Quinne: “But Clamidiya or Christy-Lizbeth…she’s not looking ready for primetime right now!”

Gomez watches as CL starts to get up. Gomez then walks over and grabs CL, but CL drops down and pulls Gomez through the ropes. Gomez ends up on the apron. She starts to get up and CL runs along the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a shoulder thrust to the ribs. Gomez falls back to the apron. The crowd ohs. CL turns and grabs Gomez, dragging her under the bottom rope and into the ring. She then jumps up and hits a splash. She goes for the pin.

Gomez kicks out. CL gets up as Gomez rolls over and uses the ropes to get up. She moves to the ropes. CL walks up and forearms her in the jaw and then again and goes for a third, but Gomez blocks it and nails her with a left and then a right before hitting a discus right hand. CL falls back.

Sharper: “Gomez fighting back! Christy-Lizbeth had the advantage!”

Lyman: “Don’t brawl with a Texan!”

Quinne: “Seems like a few bad decisions out here by the looks of it.”

Gomez then runs into the ropes, bouncing off as CL gets up and she hits a Lou Thesz Press into a cover.

CL just kicks out.

Quinne: “Oh damn! That was close! This girl is takin’ advantage. I take back what I said!”

CL rolls over as Gomez grabs her and pulls her up. She then hoists her up and goes for a back suplex, but CL lands on her feet. Gomez hits an back elbow. CL falls back into the ropes. Davis looks at her. Aries walks around the ring as Davis nods. He hops onto the apron as Gomez runs back into the ropes behind her. The official goes to get GiGi down. Gomez runs across and jumps up, but Davis shoves CL through the ropes. The official can’t see it from the angle and Gomez hits the ropes with her chest and rolls back. Davis falls back, wincing as Aries drops down.

Quinne: “That’s disappointing man. She could be something. Doesn’t need to rely on this.”

Quinne stands up at this point as Aries notices her. Gomez gets up and Christy-Lizbeth then grabs her and rolls her up with a school boy. She pulls on the tights.

The crowd roars and boos. Christy-Lizbeth lets go and rolls out of the ring. She then throws her arms up in victory. Aries snaps at Quinne more as Quinne then steps forward.

Quinne: “That’s how you’re going to help people. We compete, man! We compete. We bleed, sweat, cry, hurt in there.”

Aries heads over to her and then reaches into his robe. He places a pamphlet in front of her. Quinne looks at it and then rips it up.

Quinne: “I already got my nirvana. I go with the flow. I let my path in there lead me.”

Aries: “And yet you judge.”

Quinne: “The methods, not the end goal.”

Aries: “Both seemed to work here.”

Aries looks at Christy-Lizbeth who celebrates at ringside. Davis looks at her, more nervous than anything as Aries walks around the ring. Quinne just watches.

Sharper: “Aries and Quinne debating here at ringside as Quinne animated about what she saw.”

Lyman: “Normally you’re just relaxed. Chill-“

Quinne: “As I said it…I love this sport. Wanna give people help? Get them confidence? Great. But what about Gomez? What about her? She was kicking ass. There’s better ways.”

Knots: “Well start charging for it and you can decide. Until then, there are results already here tonight!”

Quinne shakes her head.

Quinne: “You buy into it?”

Knots: “Maybe I do. Maybe I don’t.”

Quinne: “Well I don’t. And maybe it best I watch from the back.”

Quinne takes the headset off and starts to walk around the ring as we cut away.

Backstage, Ravyn Taylor steps up with a pad of paper and turns to CHBK and Alexander Crowe in their locker room.

Ravyn: “So, I think I know how I want to handle this.”

CHBK: “I still don’t know why you’re continuing with this. You wanted to mess with someone. You picked her.”

Ravyn: “Oh I picked her because everyone was talking about Team SUP. Then Team SU. But then it became fun. And now it’s become interesting.”

CHBK: “Tell that to my ribs.”

Crowe: “You’re the one who entered into it.”

CHBK: “Yeah yeah. So what is this plan?”

Ravyn: “Oh, don’t worry there. Just…finally we saw a glimpse of the fourth personality. But we learned something else. All four were in the match. So there’s more control there, or a different mechanism for who is in the driver’s seat. And if that can be figured out…”

CHBK: “You’re right. It is interesting.”

Ravyn: “Exactly. And we start experimenting tonight.”

The crowd boos as Breakdown cuts to commercials.

We open up to see a shot of Samuel Davis sitting on a bench, sad.

Davis: “Have you been beaten down? Bullied?”

We then see shots of Selena Frost kicking and striking Samuel Davis from their match on Breakdown several weeks back. It’s punctuated by a shot of Frost hitting the Glass Shard on Davis, as he falls back in slow-motion.

Davis: “Do you not know how to deal with someone who can’t see themselves in the mirror?”

We see Selena Frost holding the SCW World Championship.

Davis: “There are better ways. There ways to overcome.”

We then cut to a close up shot of Davis as a hand extends toward him. It’s GiGi Aries. Davis looks up.

Aries: “Come…Nirvana awaits.”

The scene goes to opaque. The Holly Adams Brand, Haus of Nirvana and Positive State logos come up on the screen as the scene fades to black.

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on SCW’s Jumbotron. A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play.

The music plays for quite some time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Polly emerges from the backstage area wearing a frilly pink skirt and a very cute and fashionable strapless crop top that has black paw prints on it. She is carrying a personally made microphone, clearly wanting to make the world wait to see her. She stops and glances behind them as we see two women in similar attire, walking out with her. One is the woman, Colleen, who appeared at Taking Hold of the Flame and helped Polly. The other, more petite, is unknown.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime joining us here. And now some things become clearer. We noted a Colleen was in Taking Hold of the Flame, seemed to be working with her. Now it appears Polly has gained some allies.”

Knots: “Picked a good time to do so if you ask me. She’s been getting more aggressive and now she can take some of her own shots. Or so she hopes!”

Polly leads the two women down to the ring. The crowd looks on, booing them some, while Polly Playtime looks around the arena. She reaches the ringside area and walks up the steel steps. She turns back and motions to the two women as she then enters the ring. The two women follow after and walk forward. Polly directs them to stand in specific spots as she turns and looks at the crowd. Her music fades out when she brings her personally made microphone to her mouth.

Playtime: “I may not have gotten everything I wanted done at Taking Hold of the Flame, but it was still a good night. I may not be going to Rise to Greatness to face the champion, but well, nothing better than dragging a few people out with me, including the self-absorbed, self-important Glory Braddock. Make me tap…and I’ll get revenge.”

Playtime looks around as the crowd boos.

Playtime: “But that was then and this is now, and as everyone saw at Taking Hold of the Flame, I’m no longer alone.”

Playtime glances behind her to the two women.

Playtime: “I have some help now. Help that will do whatever I need them to do as I try to get what I deserve in SCW. While I make sure I get people’s attention and instead of me playing games, I’ll be making others do it.”

Playtime looks at the two women.

Playtime: “Here are…Polly’s Playgirls…Colleen…who a few of you have met…and Aisling.”

Playtime spins around and looks at the crowd as Colleen glares at Polly while Aisling just smiles.

Playtime: “And tonight, we’ll showcase a bit of what I mean because tonight, it’s Playtime! That’s right…the Playgirls are going to show you we mean business.”

The crowd boos as Playtime turns to the entrance way.

Playtime: “So bring out the official, bring out the fresh meat!”

Playtime brings the microphone down as she steps back. She leans on the ropes as Steve Hollinsworth jogs down to the ring. The crowd buzzes as we then hear some generic rock music play before Polly steps up.

Playtime: “No, no, no…let’s make this a bit more appropriate. This is our ring and our show right now, so play them out to my music!”

The crowd boos as the rock music fades out briefly and then “C’est La Vie” plays throughout the arena. We then see two women, both wearing black bodysuits step out from the back. One is a blonde, the other a brunette. They then head the ring.

Playtime: “Introducing the Playgirl’s opponents…they are Carla and Charly! The Romanos!”

The crowd cheers lightly as they both run down to the ring and slide into the ring. They slide forward on their knees as Polly walks over to Aisling, saying something to her before moving to Colleen. Colleen just rolls her eyes and moves to the corner. Aisling leaves the ring. Polly exits to the floor. Carla and Charly talk to one another before Hollinsworth checks on them and then walks over to the Playgirls.

Sharper: “So this I guess is a handpicked opponent for the Playgirls.”

Knots: “Know much about them.”

Sharper: “Not at all. Very little. I suppose that may be by design. To help Polly with these games she plans to put others through.”

Lyman: “Looks like Colleen is going to start off with Carla, the brunette.”

Sharper: “Looks like it.”

Carla stands in the ring with Colleen as the bell sounds. Carla looks at Colleen and then steps up as the two lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another before Colleen shoves Carla back. She rolls through and Colleen steps up and forearms her in the jaw. Carla falls to the ropes. Colleen blasts her with another forearm before whipping her across the ring. Carla bounces off and Colleen blasts her with a clothesline. Carla hits the mat and rolls over and starts to get up and moves to her sister, Charly, and tags her in. Charly enters the ring as Colleen looks on. Charly circles the ring as Colleen watches and Charly runs at her and goes lower. Colleen blocks it, but Charly then gets up and nails her with a hard right. She nails her again with another one before running into the ropes. She bounces off and Colleen catches her as she goes for a crossbody. She then just hoists her overhead, dumping her over. Charly hits the mat and rolls over. Polly smiles as Colleen turns and grabs Charly. She then drags her over to the ropes and sits on her back. Polly walks over and looks right at her.

Sharper: “Colleen sending Charly into the ropes.”

Knots: “Just sitting on her too. Clearly the power here!”

Colleen continues to sit on her back.

Colleen steps back and to the middle of the ring when Polly turns, grabbing Knots’s drink and turns, throwing it in the face of Charly. The crowd ohs as Charly falls back. Polly chuckles to herself as she walks around. Carla walks along the apron as the official gets her back. Colleen turns and drags Charly over to the Playgirls corner, taking in Aisling.

Sharper: “Polly throwing your drink-“

Knots: “It was just Diet Coke anyway. Can’t we get the good stuff?”

Sharper: “Polly almost amusing herself there. You have to worry about her along with these two women. And now, Aisling, the other one, tagged in here.”

Aisling climbs up to the top rope as Colleen reluctantly pulls Charly back and holds her. Aisling dives off with a twisting back elbow to the jaw. Colleen throws Charly down. Aisling goes for the cover.

Carla enters and breaks it up. Polly at this point, drops down to the floor. Carla backs up and looks around and then exits. Colleen meanwhile is in her corner. Aisling looks up at her, a bit upset before turning and grabbing Charly. She pulls her up and Charly hits a jawbreaker. Aisling falls back to the ropes. Charly turns and runs across the ring and bounces off. Carla tags herself in. The official notes the tag but turns back to the ring as Carla enters, but Polly pulls on her leg, having run along the apron, ducking down. She then drops down and rolls under the ring as Carla rolls through and looks back. Aisling gets a boot up to Charly. Charly stumbles back and Aisling runs over and hits a jumping dropkick. Charly falls back. Carla gets up and grabs Aisling and clubs her in the back and then again before hoisting her up for a back suplex.

Sharper: “Polly again getting involved. More just being a nuisance, but adding to the difficulty for their opponents.”

Lyman: “They’re both as worried about her as the Playgirls!”

Aisling backflips through and lands behind Carla. Carla goes for a back elbow, but Aisling ducks and then backflips back and into a headscissors. She then flips Carla forward. Aisling turns and backs up to her corner. Carla runs at her as Colleen tags in and Carla goes for a shoulder block but Aisling jumps up and hooks her arms and turns to the ropes, locking in a tarantula. The crowd roars. Colleen runs across the ring and bounces off as the referee counts and Colleen just hits Carla with a spear. The crowd ohs. Aisling lets go and Carla drops to the mat. Colleen drags her to the middle of the ring. Charly starts to enter as Colleen goes for the pin. Aisling enters and runs over and grabs Charly, just hugging her and forcing her down to the mat.

The crowd boos as the bell sounds. Polly applauds and climbs up the steps.

Polly: “And your winners, Colleen and Aisling, Polly’s Playgirls!”

The crowd boos as Polly enters the ring. She then walks over to Carla as Charly crawls over to check on her.

Polly: “And you two…YOU LOST!”

Polly turns back as Colleen looks at her as Aisling smiles, enjoying her win.

Sharper: “These two women, very different styles, and with Polly on the floor…”

Lyman: “A lot to take in and looks like Polly’s got a more thought-out plan to how she’s going to get to the top!”

The boos continue as Polly looks at the crowd. Colleen glances back at Charly and Carla as Aisling goes to the corner and poses and the scene fades out.

Backstage, we see Jenni Anderson walking backstage and going over to the SCW officials room. She looks at a piece of paper on the door and scans it. She then smiles before we hear a bark. Jenni turns and jumps as Lexy Chapel comes over, walking Lionel Barkz.

Chapel: “You!”

Anderson: “What? Me? Do you know who I am?”

Chapel: “I know Lionel here barked at you and he’s a GREAT judge of character. So-“

Anderson: “Look, I’m just making sure whomever is assigned to my match isn’t going to be looking to help Deanna out. She already has plenty of help.”

Chapel looks at her and glares. She then looks down at Lionel Barkz who is just calmly sitting next to her.

Chapel: “This checks out for now…Now, if you excuse me, I need to continue my investigation!”

Chapel opens the officials’ room. We hear some shouting as Chapel steps in with Lionel Barkz. Jenni just shakes her head before turning and smirking and walking off.

Breakdown returns with a panning shot. Just then, “Real American” by Rick Derringer begins playing.

Sharper: “Wait a minute! We heard this at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

The crowd roars for two seconds before quickly realizing they have been duped again as Rudy Powell emerges from behind the curtain, this time in his regular trademark sweat-stained suit. Powell flashes a grin as he waddles his way down to the ring.

Sharper: “I figured it would be too good to be true.”

Knots: “Someone get some salt. We can take care of this slug!”

Powell enters the ring, walks over to the ring announcer, and whispers something into his ear. The announcer looks confused as Rudy pulls a piece of paper out of his suit and waves it in the announcer's face. The announcer shrugs and then addresses the crowd.

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome…”

Phillips turns to Rudy briefly.

Phillips: “Ricky James!”

The crowd initially starts to cheer but again quickly turns to booing as Rudy lifts his arms up in the air. He then grabs the microphone from the announcer.

Rudy: “That’s right, ladies and gentlemen. I am Ricky James.”

Sharper: “What? What is he talking about?”

Lyman: “Maybe he hit his head when he was eliminated at Taking Hold of the Flame!”

Rudy holds up the sheet of paper, which is now damp.

Rudy: “I hold right here the official trademark for the ring name “Ricky James”. You see, “Ricky James” is a real American hero. Ricky James opposes the Canadian agenda of SCW. Ricky James will fight to uphold the freedoms outlined for all Americans in the United States Constitution!”

Sharper: “Ricky James had grown up and saw through this. But he’s saying…”

Knots: “Well that is his trademark. Ricky James would’ve been trademarked by him.”

The crowd boos as Rudy looks around.

Rudy: “But the man you all formerly knew as “Ricky James” is none of those things. He was an imposter. A filthy freeloader trying to take advantage of honest Americans like myself. He was a sorry excuse for an “American”. And, most importantly, he was a complete idiot.”

The crowd boos loudly. Rudy looks around, surprised as he then recovers.

Sharper: “Oh God. Cut his mic. We don’t need this filth being spread.”

Lyman: “Just slandering Ricky James because Ricky realized this con man isn’t worth a damn!”

Rudy: “That man, Ricardo, Geraldo, whatever his name is….wasn’t even smart enough to trademark his own ring name! Once I found the name “Ricky James” was actually available, I knew what I had to do. SCW needs a true American hero. SCW needs Ricky James. And no one is more of a hero or more American than yours truly. So ladies and gentlemen….I will now be known to everyone in SCW as the real RICKY JAMES.”

The crowd boos loudly as “Ricky” cackles.

Sharper: “Just ridiculous. So does this mean this idiot is going to wrestle?”

Knots: “We can only hope. Then we can watch this nimrod get his ass kicked every night!”

Rudy takes off his suit jacket and turns it inside out, revealing an American Flag pattern on the inside. He drapes the jacket over his shoulders like a superhero cape and puts an arm up in the air. “Real American” plays again as the crowd continues to boo Rudy. The camera follows him as he heads to the back.

Sharper: “Unbelievable. That hateful man is back and now holding Ricky James’s career hostage.”

Lyman: “He’s derailed it long enough but if the real Ricky James is out there, I hope he’s watching!”

Rudy reaches the stage as the music cuts and “When I Am Queen” by Jack Off Jill plays as the lights dim.

Sarah Wolf vs. Ace Sky

The crowd roars as we see fans looking around. Cameras pan the arena before we see Sarah Wolf sauntering through one of the walkways. She ignores the fans who try to get her attention and reaches the ring, only to step up and over the barricade.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, from Nowhere…she is the Dollface, Sarah Wolf!”

The crowd gives a mixed reaction as she walks up the steel steps and enters the ring. She steps forward, her eyes to the entrance way as her music fades out.

Sharper: “And from that to this. Sarah Wolf was impressive at Taking Hold of the Flame. Lasting for quite some time before being eliminated by Hairless Penguin.”

Lyman: “She is not happy about that.”

Sharper: “Not in the slightest.”

Knots: “So upset she openly said she’d flay him!”

Sharper: “And Ace Sky will be her opponent tonight.”

A rocket drops from the top of the entrance set to the stage and there is a countdown voice over.

“Eye In The Sky” by The Alan Parsons Project play as Ace Sky walks out in an aviator jacket and his usual in ring attire. He salutes a peace sign and jogs down the aisle way high-fiving as many fans as possible on both sides.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Houston, Texas, he is Ace Sky!”

Ace Sky dashes forward and leaps upon the apron and flings himself in with a front flip followed by a series of three front handsprings and a rolling savate kick. He then looks around as Wolf sizes him up. He backs up to his corner, taking off his jacket and preparing for battle.

Sharper: “Ace Sky has impressed us with his pure ability and agility so far.”

Lyman: “And we’ll see how he can do with a very different style. These two met at Taking Hold of the Flame and it did not go well for Ace Sky.”

Knots: “Yeah. He tasted what Sarah Wolf is all about and then found himself on the wrong side of the Black Hand.”

The bell sounds. Wolf looks at Sky as Sky watches her and then jumps up with a spinning back kick. Wolf dodges back as Sky turns and then steps up and flips forward towards Wolf. Wolf jumps back as Sky stops and turns and runs at Wolf. Wolf sidesteps and sends Sky into the corner. Wolf steps up and nails him with a hard right and then a forearm before then just leaning in and choking him in the corner.

He jumps up and hits a monkey flip.

Sharper: “Ace Sky using that quickness. Sarah Wolf out of the corner.”

Knots: “And maybe just getting angry.”

Ace turns to her and Wolf swings with a hard right. Ace ducks and then hits a rolling kapo kick to the face. Wolf hits the mat. Ace jumps up and hits a knee drop. He goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Two very different styles in this one.”

Wolf then walks over to Ace and pulls him up by the hair and then pulls him down face first into her knee. She then snapmares him over before sitting him up. She then sits over his shoulders and reaches down before pulling up on Ace’s leg. She sits down as she locks in the stump puller. Ace yells in pain as the official, Jennifer Cassidy, checks on him. Ace shakes his head as Wolf keeps pulling and Ace manages to tuck his chin enough to slide underneath Wolf and then nip up enough to hook Wolf’s arms and roll her forward into a victory roll pin.

Wolf kicks out. She gets up as Ace rolls back and gets up and forearms her in the jaw, kicks her in the ribs and then jumps up and hits a spinning back kick.

Lyman: “Ace Sky more crisp, quick. Wolf more force to them. More methodical. Both hurt and now Wolf is trouble.”

Wolf rolls over, holding her jaw and Ace goes for the pin.

Sky rolls down and gets back up as Wolf runs across the ring, bouncing off and then just running at Ace and drilling him with as hard of a clothesline as she can muster. Ace does a full backflip from the impact, landing on his chest. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Good lord! What a clothesline!”

Knots: “Jesus! Is Sky’s head still attached? If not, saves him from getting another Black Hard if this continues this way!”

Ace slowly stirs and Wolf turns and rolls him over to his back. She goes for the pin.

Ace then gets up. He runs at Wolf and Wolf gets a boot up. Ace stumbles back.

Sharper: “Hard kicks on both ends.”

Lyman: “Both just putting everything behind it. Some hard-hitting action here on Breakdown!”

Ace recovers and steps up before we see Wolf step up and grab Ace’s head and kiss him with the Exor-Kissed. Ace fights her off and pulls back, before spitting out some of the black liquid we’ve seen Wolf expel from her mouthy. Wolf meanwhile reaches into her mouth before lunging forward and locking in the Black Hand. She pushes back, forcing Ace down to the mat. Wolf keeps pushing down with the hold. Ace’s shoulders end up to the mat.

The crowd boos as the bell sounds. Wolf holds him down a moment longer before lifting her hand out. She then slowly gets up.

Sharper: “And Sarah Wolf with another impressive win.”

Knots: “How do you plan for this? She’s just…what is that black liquid?”

Wolf looks around as the official checks on Ace Sky. Wolf then slowly exits the ring. She then walks around as the camera remain focused on Ace Sky for a moment longer.

Sharper: “We can maybe find out. Jaina Lancaster is going to speak with Sarah Wolf. Jaina?’

Jaina, microphone in hand, walks over to Sarah Wolf as she walks forward to the entrance way. Wolf looks around. Jaina gets Sarah’s attention.

Jaina: “Sarah, can I get a word?”

Wolf nods as she keeps looking around.

Jaina: “We just saw you defeat Ace Sky. It’s been a busy time for you since debuting. You’ve been using this black liquid as you compete and it seems to add to this paralyzing effect of your holds and you’ve threatened Hairless Penguin-“

Wolf: “And that’s the issue you should focus more on. My ways are my ways…simple as that. And if I wish to reveal my methods, then so be it. As for Penguin, I think I was clear. I said what I said on social media. I will flay him.”

Jaina: “That seems a bit much. He eliminated you from the battle royal-“

Wolf: “A terrible mistake clearly. Should have maybe focused elsewhere. Would I react this way to another competitor? Who knows? But I think I’ve made myself clear here and well, I plan to hunt him for the time being. I think that would be fun. I think-“

The crowd roars as we see Wasley, Kim’s stuffed penguin, suddenly come into view. This gets Wolf’s attention from her peripheral vision as Jaina turns.

Jaina: “Kim-“

Kim: “No Kim here….only Wasley. How dare you say you’ll flay a penguin! Penguins are majestic beings.”

Jaina: “She’s talking about Hairless Penguin.”

Sarah Wolf just looks at Kim, eying her. Kim stands up.

Kim: “Well duh! I watch and listen too. And he’s a nice guy. Cowers in fear when I’m around. He’s also the one who stopped me from making Shaun Cruiserweight HAVE to respect my title at Rise to Greatness when I could’ve maybe done some flaying of my own by having Juneau Frost turn into a puff of snow in a death match!”

Wolf: “That’s lovely. But get in line…unless you want your toy to be a nice little message.”

Kim: “He’s already had his surgery. And trust me, you want me on your side, not against you. Then again, can you ever trust someone like me?”

Wolf: “What’s trust?”

Wolf turns and walks between Jaina and Kim and starts to walk to the back. Kim just smiles as Jaina turns to the camera.

Jaina: “Back to you, Adam.”

Kim then starts to have Wasley “kiss” Jaina as Jaina pushes away.

We cut to a wide shot of the area, panning across the crowd.

Sharper: “Thank you Jaina. An interesting confrontation there and Hairless Penguin-“

Lyman: “I would suggest finding a place to hide.”

Knots: “First hot sauce and then black stuff.”

Sharper: “And more to come here on Breakdown when we return!”

The scene fades to black.

MOMENTS AGO:

We open up with a still of Sarah Wolf standing next to Jaina Lancaster in the entrance way.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Sarah Wolf spoke with Jaina Lancaster moments ago and things got a bit weird.”

Wolf: “As for Penguin, I think I was clear.

I think-“

The scene opens up backstage as Hairless Penguin comes up to Dancing Bear who is trying to grab a bottle of water with his bear hands, but struggling mightly.

Penguin: “Bear! Hide me!”

Bear: “Excuse me, Penguin. You usually say hi, as how I’m doing-“

Penguin: “We came together. We did that at the hotel. Look, I’ve got a crazy person saying they’ll flay me and I think Kim wants to do things and-“

Bear: “What? Really? Some people are into that. I know they say don’t do it with crazy but-“

Penguin: “I thought you had a thing for Lexy-“

Bear: “Shhhh! Penguin! Plus…you know….”

Penguin: “Oh well…”

Penguin snaps out of it.”

Penguin: “Just hide me!”

Bear: “It’s fine. You’re with a bear. A black bear. And you’ll be fine.”

Penguin: “Why don’t I feel fine?”

Bear: “Well that’s your shit, man. I’m here. Now…let me just get this water and hydrate.”

Penguin grabs the water and twists the top off with no resistance.

Bear: “You know…I wanted to deal with it myself-“

Penguin: “Bear!”

Penguin: “Fine! Fine!”

Bear takes it and pours it all over his face before throwing it down and the SCW Tag Team Champions walk off.

We abruptly cut elsewhere in the back where Josh Hudson and Owen Lee are backstage as Hudson grabs at the arm of Owen. Owen yells out and tries to turn as Hudson then hip throws him down and pulls back on the arm. Officials are on the scene, trying to break up the two.

Sharper: “And now this is live! Josh Hudson is attacking Owen Lee!”

Lyman: “Again! He’s just incensed with him!”

Sharper: “He’s going for the arm! And we’ve heard – Owen Lee shared it on social media – that his arm, his wrist was injured!”

Knots: “Dr. Hudson is going to do his own examination!”

Hudson grabs at the left wrist and pulls back. Owen yells out.

Hudson: “So Owen…feeling a bit tender!”

Owen: “Come on! Do it you son of a bitch!”

Hudson smiles as he then cradles the arm as officials continue to try get Hudson off of him.

Hudson: “You need another excuse? Thought you were past that! Huh! Our little hero with his little redemption!”

Owen: “Come on! Do what you came here for?!”

Tanaka: “Hudson! Don’t do it!”

Agent Hiro Tanaka looks at Hudson as Hudson turns to him. Hudson then moves to the hand of Owen and pulls back, Owen wincing in pain as Hudson leans on his head with his knee. Owen starts to try to find some more before officials try to get him off and then we see Glory Braddock running into the scene and nailing Hudson with a hard right and then another. Hudson stumbles back as officials get between the two.

Sharper: “Hudson going to the wrist, looking to hyper-extend it further while Glory Braddock! Braddock! On the scene!”

Lyman: “She faces Owen later! And looks like she wants it to be a fair fight!”

Hudson backs up.

Hudson: “Need to hide behind others now?! Huh?!”

Braddock: “Need to jump people from behind Hudson!”

Owen starts to get up, holding his wrist. He looks at Hudson.

Owen: “We’re gonna make this a trend, Huddie?”

Hudson just smirks as he’s pulled away. Owen turns to Glory.

Owen: “Thanks…”

Braddock: “Well I came here to fight you at your best, not after whatever he planned.”

Owen: “Well, I guess I got used to having Daisy around and I need to get better about watching my back.”

Braddock: “That’s for sure. With him…definitely. But tonight…let’s just tear it up.”

Braddock pats Owen on the back as Owen nods. Braddock heads off. Owen turns and then watches the direction that Hudson was taken off.

“The Old Me” plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A still for Jenni Anderson vs. Deanna Frost for the SCW Television Championship follows.

Sharper: “Glory Braddock and Owen Lee, they’ll meet later. Josh Hudson obsessed with Owen Lee these days.”

Knots: “Making his life a living hell.”

Sharper: “But next, the SCW Television Championship on the line as Jenni Anderson defends against Deanna Frost. She must compete. No interference. No proxies. If she does, she forfeits the title.”

Lyman: “Time to see the match we wanted to see. Anderson/Frost, next!”

The scene fades to black.

We cut to a shot of Steve Griffin hitting a top rope decimator on CHBK from Rise to Greatness 2003, before cutting to a shot of Alistaire Allocco proudly holding the SCW World Championship and then showing a shot of Kelcey Wallace, Trinity Street and Lucas Knight standing over Ravyn Taylor and Kennedy Street at another Rise to Greatness event.

“This is your Rise to Greatness Rewind.”

The scene opens in the ring at Rise to Greatness 2008. Hurse slowly starts to move and Exeter walks over only to grab him and drive him down with a second Exoskeletal Extermination. Hurse arches his back in pain and rolls over. Exeter then rolls over and walks over to the corner. He climbs the corner and then stands on the ropes. He turns to the ladder and starts to climb all the way to the top. Exeter gets near the top and then yells at the referee to hold the ladder. The referee shakes his head no and Exeter snaps at him. He then runs over and holds the ladder. Exeter then smiles before climbing to the top. He squats on the top of the ladder.

Dawson: “This is suicidal!”

Exeter slowly stands up and then takes a deep breath. The crowd is all standing on their feet and Exeter dives forward and performs a 630 Spiral Tap, but Hurse rolls out of the way and Exeter crashes into the mat hard. The crowd ohs and a huge “Holy Sh*t!” chant begins coming from the crowd. Hurse then rolls over as Exeter yells in pain and Hurse throws his arm over the chest of Exeter. The referee goes down and counts.

The referee calls for the bell, but the crowd is still going nuts over the failed move attempt.

Phillips: “The winner of this match, Hurse!”

Johnson: “That was insane!”

Dawson: “But he missed…and Hurse picks up the win! What an ending!”

Hurse rolls off of Exeter and the referee walks over and holds up his arm. Robin celebrates on the outside. Hurse then slowly rolls to the ropes before falling off the apron and goes over to Robin. Robin holds him up and Hurse holds his arm up. The Rise to Greatness XIX logo comes up on the screen.

Deanna Frost vs. Jenni Anderson

SCW Television Championship

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs "The Queen's Guard" Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television Championship. Should Jenni Anderson benefit from interference or fail to show up to compete or implement a proxy to fight for her, she will forfeit this match. First, from Manhattan, New York, she is 'The Queen's Guard', Deanna Frost!”

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the Queen's Guard jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring! On the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost finally has the match she wants. Third time is the charm, she hopes. We hope.”

Knots: “Speak for yourself! Jenni Anderson is the future of this business.”

We cut to ringside to see Knots fanning himself with $100 bills.

Lyman: “What’s that?’

Knots: “Oh what? This? I’m just a bit hot down here. It’s Texas. Heatwave!”

Sharper: “Uh-huh.”

“MONEY

MONEY

MONEY MAKE HER SMILE…”

The chorus line to Bruno Mars’ “Money Make Her Smile” plays out over the crowd before the introductory organ plays out, leading into the full song. Jenni Anderson steps out from the back, confidently striding as she stands before the booing crowd, clad in her ring gear and a long fur coat. The SCW Television Championship sits around her waits. She lowers a pair of obscenely expensive sunglasses and begins walking to the ring. She then sighs and looks at the ring.

Phillips: “Her opponent, she is the SCW Television Champion, from Reno, Nevada, the Queenpin, Jenni Anderson!”

Once at the foot of the ring, she stands and instructs the referee, Michael Constantine, to open the ropes for her, which undoubtedly happens. Climbing onto the apron, she moves through the ropes and into the ring. She looks across at Deanna. Deanna just smiles. Jenni lowers the coat down her back, looking out over the crowd as she removes her sunglasses entirely. She then sheds her entrance attire and passes them gracefully to the timekeeper - if anything ends up damaged, or one hair ends up out of place, she has the means to seek recompense for them… a fact she reminds the handler of her property. She then takes off her Television Championship and hands it to Michael Constantine. Constantine holds it over his head as the SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Jenni Anderson is here. No one else yet. Even handing the title to official Michael Constantine.”

Lyman: “So far, she’s meeting the low bar set for her.”

Sharper: “Deanna Frost meanwhile looks ready.”

Jenni looks across at Selena, leaning in her corner. Deanna stretches out as Constantine hands off the title. He backs up and looks at Jenni and she nods. Constantine turns to Deanna and checks on her. She nods. Constantine calls for the bell. The bell sounds before Jenni then quickly steps through the ropes. Deanna runs across, but Constantine briefly gets in the way, unable to get out of the way quick enough. Deanna avoids contact and spins down to the mat. Jenni starts to head to the back as Deanna rolls to the floor. Constantine gets up and counts. (1) Anderson runs to the back, but Deanna bolts after her, proving to be the quicker runner and grabs Anderson by her arm. (2) She spins her around. Anderson swings, going for a hard right. (3) Constantine speeds up his count. (4) Deanna however kicks Anderson in the stomach. She falls back and rolls down the rampway. (5) The crowd cheers as Anderson rolls back down to the ring. Deanna runs after her. (6) She notices the count. (7) She then grabs Anderson as she gets up and rolls her into the ring. (8) Deanna rolls in after. She looks up at Constantine.

Sharper: “Almost up to 8 there! Deanna dragging Anderson back to the ring!”

Lyman: “Constantine with a very swift count. Maybe understanding this has become personal. Wanting to keep it in the ring.”

Anderson rolls over and gets up and Deanna steps up and forearms her in the jaw and then nails her again and again. Anderson falls back into the corner. The crowd cheers as Deanna kicks her in the ribs once and then again. Constantine counts.

1!

2!

3!

4!

Deanna steps back before the four gets out and Anderson leans to the ropes. Deanna walks around the ring as Anderson starts to get up and Deanna runs at Anderson and hits a double knee to her chest. Anderson stumbles forward and down to the mat as Deanna goes for the pin.

2!

Anderson kicks out. She turns and rolls over as Deanna looks up and grabs her.

Sharper: “Anderson, out at two. And now, we’re finally into this match. Jenni may have to actually defend herself.”

Knots: “She can! She’s just lulling Deanna into her own hubris!”

Deanna drags her up and knees her in the ribs. She turns and whips her into the ropes. Anderson bounces off the ropes and Deanna hits a running elbow drop. The crowd cheers. Anderson starts to get up and Deanna turns and kicks her in the ribs. She goes for a vertical suplex. Anderson blocks it. Deanna lifts her up, but Anderson rakes the eyes. Deanna turns away as Anderson drops down. Deanna spins around and Anderson kicks her in the ribs before throwing her back with a mat slam. She goes for the pin.

2!

Deanna kicks out. Anderson turns to Constantine, telling him to count faster. Anderson turns and looks at Deanna. She stomps Deanna in the chest and then face and then just places her foot on Deanna’s face, grinding down. Constantine tells her to break before then starting to count.

Anderson steps off as Deanna rolls over. She winces and holds her face. She starts to get up and Anderson pulls herself up to the middle rope. She looks at Deanna and drives off with a missile dropkick. She then goes for another pin.

2!

Deanna kicks out again. Again, Deanna berates Constantine. Jenni rolls off and looks around. She turns and walks back over to Deanna and pulls her up before Deanna then hits a jawbreaker. Anderson falls to a knee.

Sharper: “And Deanna quickly catches her. Anderson thought she was in control.”

Knots: “Anderson fighting! Are you ready to get off of her!”

Sharper: “Deanna fighting back now! Now we’ll see what she’s made of!”

Deanna then gets up and hits a forearm to the jaw and then another before getting Jenni to the ropes and firing her off. Anderson bounces off and Deanna scoops her up with a powerslam. She hooks the leg.

1!

2!

Anderson kicks out. She rolls over and stirs as Deanna grabs her and pulls her up. She then hits a Cold Snapmare before rolling through and going to the middle rope and hitting a lionsault on Anderson.

1!

2!

Anderson gets her shoulder up. Constantine emphasizes the two. Deanna looks up as she grabs Anderson and starts to lift her up. Deanna then knees her in the ribs and runs across the ring. She bounces off and Anderson reaches up and rakes the eyes of Deanna again. She then turns and grabs her and throws her back, causing her to nearly strike Constantine. Constantine goes down anyways. The crowd boos. Anderson then staggers over to the corner. She steps through the ropes to the floor.

Sharper: “Jenni Anderson again, going to the eyes. Now taking Deanna down.”

Knots: “Constantine just took a powder too! Deanna tried to attack him!”

Sharper: “Stop it! Anderson now down here.”

Knots: “She knows she’s won by DQ. Deanna attacked the referee! Some integrity!”

Anderson walks over to the timekeeper and takes the SCW Television Championship. She snaps at Phillips who guards the title. Anderson then turns and walks back over to the ring, rolling in. She starts to get up as Deanna starts to get up as Constantine remains down, holding his face. Deanna staggers up and turns as Anderson then turns and goes for a swinging shot to the head, but Deanna ducks. Anderson misses and Deanna runs into the ropes. She bounces off and drills Jenni Anderson with the Burnout. Anderson hits the mat. Deanna turns and goes for the pin. Constantine turns and sees the pin. He pauses a moment before counting.

1!

2!

3!

The crowd cheers as Deanna rolls off and thrusts her arm in the air. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and NEW SCW Television Champion, Deanna Frost!”

Sharper: “Deanna Frost with the Burnout and Jenni Anderson had no answers!”

Knots: “She should’ve been DQed!”

Sharper: “Constantine counted the fall and Deanna Frost is the new SCW Television Champion!”

Deanna gets up and Constantine walks over and is handed the SCW Television Championship. He turns and walks over and hands it to Deanna. Deanna takes it and holds it over her head. The crowd cheers as Deanna celebrates.

Sharper: “A hell of a moment for Deanna as she wins her first piece of SCW gold.”

Lyman: “Following in her wife’s footsteps!”

Deanna exits the ring and starts to celebrate with some of the ringside fans as Constantine checks on Jenni Anderson.

Sharper: “A great moment. Now let’s go backstage to Jessica Winters.”

Backstage, Jessica Winters stands with Autumn Valentine at the SCW interview area.

Winters: “Thanks Adam. I’m here with Autumn Valentine and Autumn, Taking Hold of the Flame, another frustrating night for you. But while Cid Turner did retain the SCW Adrenaline Championship against you, Datura did not heed your warning. She got involved and it’s one reason you are not the champion now.”

Autumn: “I don’t know what I want to say about this. Datura seemingly is siding with the Brand. That’s what it sounds like. And not like they’ve ever cared about doing things right. But Datura flat out slapping me in the face, first by coming out at Taking Hold of the Flame and then saving Cid Turner so I wouldn’t be standing here with a title I’ve wanted to hold my entire career.”

Autumn pauses.

Autumn: “Look, I know a lot of things are going on. Lexy’s looking for her phone. The Farmstead Friends are Tag Champs. Ace Marshall is missing. And oh yeah, I used to be the girl who gave no effs. I give a damn here. Twice now Datura has stopped me from getting the Adrenaline Title. TWICE! And I don’t care about how she feels all woe is her for herself. I don’t care about how Cid may be in her head. I just care about one thing. Making clear to her that she made a grave mistake. Lexy…keep looking for the phone. I’m focusing on Datura. I’m focusing on making sure people don’t overlook me or disrespect me a different way. This last year, I became a face of this company. I’ll flat out say it! People were talking about me. And yeah, Lexy…my wife…had plenty to do with that. Now for me to do something with it. And Datura…I hope it’s worth it. Because I told you you’d regret it. And you will!”

Autumn turns and heads off as the scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns as we open up backstage to see Deanna Frost standing with Selena Frost as the two celebrate backstage. Jaina Lancaster joins them.

Jaina: “Deanna! Mind if I get a word? Congratulations on becoming the new TV champion.”

Deanna: “Thanks Jaina. This just feels great.”

Jaina: “You finally got your match against Jenni Anderson. No way to weasel out of it.”

Deanna: “Not at all and I made sure that she had to compete and I’m not going to say here it was a foregone conclusion. I just wanted to give these fans the match they deserved. Three times we’ve faced and this is the first time I got you one on one and now, I hold this. No need to threaten Selena or bring her into it. And sometimes, money can’t buy everything.”

Deanna pauses.

Deanna: “Sometimes you just need to get it done. Not skirt by and-“

We then see Kim Williams come into the scene.

Kim: “Sweet! A party! Where’s the champagne?! Can I join?”

Deanna: “Kim…”

Selena looks at her.

Selena: “I think you need to leave.”

Kim: “Why? I’m here for peace! And maybe I hate both of you and I still want to face you and drive you through barbed wire, fire and maybe live piranhas! Wait! Where’s Shaun Cruiserweight? Can I get live piranhas?!”

Deanna: “Kim…you lost at Taking Hold of the Flame and-“

Kim: “Don’t remind me! God! It would be so fun to maim your wife!”

Selena goes to step up, but Deanna stops her and steps forward.

Deanna: “You’d have to get through me. You had your chance and played your games. And I’m not going to watch you waste her time.”

Kim: “Oh…that’s nice! That’s really nice. Look at them…the little couple all backing each other up. Well-“

Kim glances back as some officials walk over and start to motion to Kim to leave.

Kim: “What? I’m talking with my bestest friend, Deanna here….Okay, so I can’t say that with a straight face.”

Kim turns back.

Kim: “This one…I just wanna talk!”

Deanna and Selena look at Kim, ready to fight if need be, but Kim starts to be pulled away from them by officials before we cut away.

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as the crowd cheers. Pink spotlights circle the arena before we cut to the stage to see Syren walking out from the back. She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.

Sinfully Seductive

Captivatingly Corrupt

DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the rampway to the ringside area. She then walks around the ring and then jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.

Sharper: “Syren was that close. Yes, that close, to winning the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. She has been clear about one thing. She wanted to get her title shot. She wanted to main event Rise to Greatness. She wanted a one on one shot at the SCW World Championship.”

Lyman: “It’s tough. It’s the second time she’s gotten to the second last and did not win. But last year, she had an excuse. Asher Hayes. This year, Adam Allocco merely through her over the top and despite being in the match for over an hour, it wasn’t enough.”

Syren steps over the top rope and then entering the ring. She walks over to the ropes and steps up on them and looks out at the crowd. She then hops down and looks around before heading to the corner. She grabs a microphone waiting for her. She then walks over to the middle of the ring. She stops as the music fades out. She then looks around before a “Syren!” chant begins. Syren looks around. She listens to the chants, before bringing down her microphone and looking around the arena. The crowd continues to chant as Syren nods.

Syren: “You know, it’s been a while since I got that chant and it wasn’t because I was just kicking ass in this ring. To hear it just by showing up feels good.”

The crowd cheers as Syren looks around.

Syren: “Well, here we are…Rise to Greatness on the horizon. Taking Hold of the Flame has passed. I wasn’t nearly taken out by some jackass who couldn’t handle that I could beat them or outlast them. I wasn’t fearing whether my career was over or I wouldn’t be able to hold my child in my arms again. I just wasn’t good enough.”

Syren brings the microphone down. She then runs a hand across her face.

Syren: “Adam Allocco simply outlasted me. And I sat right there…”

Syren walks over and points to the ringside area.

Syren: “Sat right there…everything I wanted. To have a one on one title shot. I didn’t care against who. But a one on one World Championship shot. Screw that it was at Rise to Greatness. I wanted to get that match to try and win that title for the eighth time and God willing have Mr. D himself return to place it around my waist.”

The crowd buzzes a bit.

Syren: “Yeah, there’s some selfishness there. I know. Let the dirt sheets run with it. But it’s my little dream. I’ve done so much, but I’ve never felt I’ve been truly see as THE champion. I’ve never gotten the vindication. And yeah, many of you are going, but Syren, you’ve won the title more than anyone. You’ve made us forget about Jason Zero!”

Syren looks around as the crowd cheers.

Syren: “I surpassed my hero, CHBK.”

The crowd boos.

Syren: “I know, I know. But still, it wasn’t enough. And to spend the last five months seen only as a glorified stepping stone…I am damn sure more than that. And yet, even still, Ace Marshall is not here. I don’t know why. Maybe he’s come to the same crossroads I had. The only difference is I’m here. For him…he can speak there. But now, I stand here…and I don’t know.”

The crowd boos a bit.

Syren; “Don’t worry. I’m not calling it a day. I don’t quit. Sorry to anyone who doesn’t like that. But I…I don’t know. I had put everything I had in that ring at Taking Hold of the Flame to win the battle royal. When I saw I had number four, I knew I had to dig deep and find some way to get through some of the best in the world. And I again was this close…And Adam Allocco is going to Rise to Greatness to challenge Selena Frost for the World Championship. Congratulations Adam, by the way. And congratulations Selena to getting to this point.”

Syren paces a bit.

Syren: “Now I did think of a few things. I know Selena is a fighting champion and I thought about just challenging her outright. Get her to put her money where it is. But I’ve been there…on both sides. That just required the Trios Tournament contract. And let’s face it, it still wouldn’t give me what I want. A one on one title shot against the World Champion. Period. So then maybe I could do what everyone has done to me…Find someone who should reflect that top spot and challenge them.”

Syren looks up.

Syren: “I mean this with all the respect of the world, but I don’t know who that is. That’s not to say there aren’t people who deserve a shot in the back. I could challenge Giovanni Aries, but I’d be just facing the last challenger. Doesn’t mean Shaun Cruze is going to agree with my logic? Then again, he didn’t agree with Ace Marshall and Matt Hodges’s.”

Syren looks up.

Syren: “And for once, I don’t know what’s next for me. It’s going to be competing in this ring. It’s going to be fighting for something. I will do anything I can to get that one on one shot I desire. I mean Selena had her unbelievable main event last year, why can’t I have the Be Totally Jealous Everyone Title Shot?!”

Syren shrugs.

Syren: “But how I get there, I don’t know but-“

Oh, she's sweet but a psycho

A little bit psycho

At night she's screamin'

"I'm-ma-ma-ma out my mind"

The arena lights dim down and pink light shine on the stage. “Sweet but Psycho” by Ava Max plays as The Queen of Queens and Goddess of Desire Katie Steward steps out on the stage with Gigi Steward and TJ Johnson. The crowd boos as Syren turns to the stage.

Sharper: “Syren pouring her soul here a bit and the Goddess of Desire joining us with Gigi Steward and TJ Johnson returning alongside them.”

Lyman: “Returned at Taking Hold of the Flame and Katie Steward and Syren have a long history.”

The crowd looks on as Katie leads Gigi and TJ down to the ring. They make their way to ringside as Syren watches them. Katie walks up the steel steps as TJ hops onto the apron. He holds the ropes open for Katie. Katie steps into the ring. Gigi follows after. TJ follows as Katie walks forward and smiles at Syren. Syren just glares at her. TJ walks across the ring being handed a microphone. Johnson takes it and walks over to Katie, holding it out for her.

Syren: “Katie…what do you want?”

Katie: “I wanted to see this for myself!”

Syren: “See what?’

Katie: “I was in the same spot you were. I was it! The Queen of Queens! The Goddess of Desire! The one woman everyone talked about around here. And then people like you came around and I got disrespected time and time again. But now here you are and you’re starting to see it. And I came here not only to laugh in your face because frankly, this has been a long time coming.”

Syren: “Laugh away because I’m not going anywhere. And no offense Katie, but while you may have rested on my laurels, and I’ll accept it, I may have too with Infamous…put what I’ve done in the last year against anyone.”

The crowd cheers.

Katie: “That’s what I figured you’d say because just like me…you think you’re the best. It’s how you get to be the Queen around here. But…I also came here to speed up the process!”

Syren throws the microphone down as Gigi runs and nails Syren in the side. Syren stumbles back and nails her with a shot as TJ Johnson then runs over and grabs her, but Syren forearms him in the jaw and then elbows Gigi before nailing TJ again. She turns to Katie who blasts her with the Greatest Superkick Ever. The crowd ohs and boos. Syren hits the mat. Katie then takes off her coat before turning as Gigi and TJ get back up.

Sharper: “Katie, Gigi and TJ jumping Syren! Superkick right to the jaw!”

Knots: “Syren went down! CHBK would be proud of that one! No! Jealous!”

Gigi and TJ stomp at Syren as Katie then dives at her and mounts her and nails her with repeated right hands. The crowd boos loudly as Katie gets her shots in. Syren takes each blow as Katie hammers away when the crowd erupts in cheers. Gavin Taylor runs out from the back. Gavin runs down and slides into the ring.

Sharper: “Wait a minute! Gavin Taylor! Gavin Taylor in the ring!”

Knots: “W-Why?!”

Gavin runs over and grabs Katie by the hair and pulls her off. TJ runs over to him and Gavin lifts him up and hits an inverted atomic drop. TJ rolls over, holding himself in pain. Gigi turns and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Gavin gets to the ropes and Gigi goes to whip him across, but Gavin spins through and sends Gigi in and Gavin lunges forward with the Gavin Taylor lariat. Katie gets up at the ropes and steps forward as Gavin turns to her and Katie then lets out the Goddess Scream. The crowd boos. Gavin turns away briefly before Katie drops down to the floor and rolls out of the ring. The crowd cheers for Gavin as Gavin turns back to Syren. Syren starts to get up and Gavin extends his arm to her.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor saving Syren!”

Lyman: “Well great to see someone stepping up and helping out Syren. I’m just a bit surprised!”

Sharper: “Syren a bit reluctant but taking the help now.”

Syren looks at Gavin and then to Katie before reaching up and taking the aid. Gavin pulls her up and the two turn and step forward as the crowd cheers. Gavin and Syren stand side by side as Katie backs up, joined by Gigi Steward and TJ Johnson, the latter still holding himself.

Knots: “Why the hell did Gavin come out here?”

Sharper: “A great question. At the same time, maybe some people are just good people, Jon.”

Knots: “Okay, we need you drug tested now. Have you met people backstage?!”

Syren glances at Gavin before telling him thanks. Gavin nods as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, Lexy Chapel storms through another locker room. She turns and heads out of it and then stops. She sighs.

Chapel: “God! No one has my phone. Probably already out of the country or worse. On the internet, or-“

???: “Uh, Lex?”

Lexy turns and is a bit shocked.

Lexy: “You? Wait…uh…you! You probably need better management and-“

The camera pans out as Cookie Dreams is standing across from her. The crowd roars.

Cookie: “No, Lexy. Just…I’ve been sent…uh…by Cid.”

Lexy: “What does he want? To rub in the Adrenaline Championship screwjob! How Datura still screwed over Datura? HMMM!”

Cookie: “Actually no…he gave me this to give to you.”

Cookie then holds up a phone. Lexy takes it.

Lexy: “Why do you have it? Did they steal it?! What-“

Cookie: “Look, I don’t know. I didn’t even see it until tonight. Cid just told me you should have it back. So…uh…here I am.”

Lexy presses on it. It doesn’t turn on. Cookie turns and heads off as Lexy looks at it and then Cookie before the scene cuts away.

Backstage, Breakdown opens in the interview area to see Konrad Raab standing next to Jessica Winters. Raab’s eyes wander around the room as Winters welcomes us back.

Winters: “Welcome back to Breakdown. I am here with Konrad Raab and Konrad, since you lost the Underground Championship, you’ve shown a willingness to fight anyone in the Taking Hold of the Flame, but also seem to be a bit rudderless. The Underground Championship was so much part of your identity-“

Raab: “Do you want me to snap? Is that what you’re doing?”

Winters: “More trying to see where you head is at?”

Raab: “At Taking Hold of the Flame, I came to fight anyone who would. Some did. Some didn’t. And now, tonight, I hear people talking about how angry they are about this or that. Some act, like Josh Hudson. Others stand around and make threats. Just do it! Just act. Just spill their blood then. But people would rather send messages and play games…”

Raab stops.

Raab: “Including the one holding the Underground Championship.”

Winters: “So then what is your action?”

Raab pauses and looks at Jessica. Jessica steps back briefly.

Raab: “This week patience. Next week, action. I hate so many that I need to figure out who I want to destroy next. And maybe some can watch and learn.”

Raab looks at the camera before stepping forward and walking past it as Jessica Winters watches him walk off.

Winters: “Back to ringside.”

Beard vs. Samuel Davis

|| Haüs of Nirvana ||
|| Presents ||
|| VIP Member ||
|| STD ||

“One Shining Moment” by Luther Vandross plays as the crowd roars a bit. A few moments pass before we see Samuel Davis walking out from the back with Christy-Lizbeth and GiGi Aries. Davis looks a bit nervous as GiGi begins to whisper something to Samuel who nods rapidly. Holly Adams then walks out afterwards with Cid Turner following. Cid glances behind him as Cookie Dreams then runs over to him and nods. Cid nods back as they head to the ring. GiGi Aries then proceeds to lead Samuel through a breathing exercise as they take a deep breath and slowly exhale a couple times. GiGi Aries checks on him as Samuel gives the ok to GiGi that he is good.

Phillips:” The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, accompanied by Christy-Lizbeth, GiGi Aries, Holly Adams, Cookie Dreams and Cid Turner, representing the Haüs of Nirvana, he is Samuel Davis!”

They proceed toward the ring as Christy-Lizbeth hands out Haüs of Nirvana pamphlets to ringside fans. Holly runs over and hands her some other pamphlets, these of the Brand, to also hand out. Samuel begins to get in the music as he runs around the ringside slapping hands of no one. He makes a lap before he climbs into the ring as GiGi joins him while Christy-Lizbeth continues handing pamphlets out. GiGi pulls out some sage and begins to sage Samuel who chokes on the sage and has a coughing fit. Holly follows GiGi. Cid and Cookie are a few steps behind.

Sharper: “The whole of Holly Adams Brand and all of its subsidiaries out here. High stakes on this one.”

Lyman: “Christy-Lizbeth managed to get through her test. Only adding to the pressure for Samuel Davis.”

Knots: “Yeah, while Samuel Davis has also released his new bully campaign against Selena Frost. Totally stopping his progress! The asshole that she is!”

Sharper: “Give me a break.”

The arena lights go completely black. Lightning begins to streak around the entrance way, as "The Terminator" theme blares through the sound system. Smoke rises from the stage as the lightning slowly dies down. As the music continues and the smoke clears, a figure turning slowly rises to its feet in the smoke. The music then transitions into "(Oh My) Darling Don’t Cry” by Run the Jewels as Beard reveals himself, stepping out from the smoke, with the crowd erupting in cheers.

Phillips: “His opponent, from New York City, New York, Beard!”

Beard makes his way to the ring, taking some time out to lean into the crowd. He then runs and slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Once inside the ring , Beard climbs to the top rope and strokes his beard before extending his arms out and doing a backflip off of the top rope, landing on his feet, and dropping to one knee as the music dies down. He then gets up as GiGi Aries climbs onto the apron. Davis goes to head over, but instead, Aries beckons Beard over.

Sharper: “Beard coming to the ring and Beard has a history with Aries here. Aries and him long time friends.”

Lyman: “Also the incident involving Beard making a terrible mistake happened at Cid’s wedding.”

Beard talks to Aries as the bell sounds. Beard then turns back, telling Aries to chill but then, Davis runs over and nails Beard with a hard right. The crowd ohs and boos. Beard stumbles back to the ropes. Davis nails him again with another hard right and then a third. He kicks him in the ribs and whips Beard across the ring. He bounces off and Davis runs at him and clotheslines him down. He dives onto him for the pin.

Beard kicks out. Davis smacks the mat in anger and then starts to get up. Aries motions to him as Cid watches. Davis turns and grabs Beard and drags him up, but Beard muscles through, scooping him up and slamming him down. Davis hits the mat. He starts to get up and Beard nails him with a hard right to the jaw. Davis falls to the ropes.

Sharper: “Hard right hand as Davis had a strong start, but that quickly tapered off!”

Lyman: “Beard just muscled him up.”

Knots: “Well yeah, Davis has had his spirit broken. Repeatedly as of late! Give him some credit!”

Beard whips him across the ring. Davis bounces off and Beard drops down. Davis trips over him, hitting the mat. He slowly gets to his knees as Beard then dropkicks him in the back of the head. He rolls Davis over and hooks the leg.

Davis kicks out. He turns and Beard grabs him and drags him up. He then whips Davis into the corner. Davis hits the corner as Beard runs after and nails him with a running clothesline. Davis nearly falls over but remains half up on his feet. Beard grabs him and drags him out and then hits a snap suplex. He turns for another pin.

1!

2!

Davis kicks out. GiGi shakes his head.

Sharper: “Nearfall as Beard gets two after the snap suplex.”

Lyman: “Is GiGi disappointed in Davis or Beard?”

Knots: “Both?”

Davis rolls over as Beard grabs him. He pulls him up and forearms him in the jaw. He then drags him to the corner. Beard places him in the corner and Beard then climbs up to the middle rope. GiGi yells at Beard to accept his penance. Beard ignores him and nails him with a hard right and then another and another before hammering him in tune with the Terminator theme. He does it twice before dropping down and whipping Davis across the ring. Davis hits the corner, flipping upside down only to crash to the mat and roll to the apron and plummet to the floor. Beard looks over and goes to follow, but the official, Steve Hollinsworth stops him. GiGi goes to walk over, but Holly walks over to Davis and kneels down saying something to him, almost berating him, before getting up. Cid walks over.

Cid: “You can do it buddy!”

Holly looks at him. Cid shrugs as Davis starts to get up. (1) He moves to the ring and Beard reaches through to grab him, but Davis suddenly grabs Beard by his legs and pulls him down. He then drags him to the floor before grabbing him and hip tossing him into the barricade. The crowd ohs. (1)

Sharper: “Davis, getting all forms of help. Cid encouraging, GiGi support, Holly’s in your face-“

Knots: “And it helped! Beard may now no longer have a working spine!”

Davis then rolls into the ring. He backs up. (2) He slowly gets up and watches as Beard holds his lower back. He starts to get up. (3) He then crawls to the ring, grimacing in pain. Davis keeps watching before walking to the ropes. The official stops him as Holly runs over and kicks Beard in the ribs. He rolls over as the crowd boos. Holly steps back as Cid looks on and we then see Davis back up. The official turns, continuing his count. (4) Beard grabs at the apron, using it to pull himself up. (5) He gets up to his knees and then to his feet. (6) He rolls in and Davis runs over and stomps him over and over and over again. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “And the desperation from Davis. Just all over Beard.”

Lyman: “After Holly’s taken a shot too!”

Cid looks on uneasy as Davis then drags Beard away from the ropes and goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Beard gets his shoulder up. Davis rolls off, yelling out. He then turns and starts to get up as Beard stirs. Davis grabs him and whips him into the corner. Davis runs after and Beard gets a boot up. Davis staggers back and Beard jumps forward and hits the Sides and Dazed. The crowd ohs as Davis hits the mat. Beard then fights back up to his feet and then turns and runs at Davis and jumps up and hits a double stomp to the chest. The crowd ohs. Beard goes for the pin.

Davis shoots his shoulder up and rolls over. The crowd ohs. Beard looks at him and nods, almost impressed. We cut then to a shot to see The One standing on the floor, watching the match, her arms crossed in front of her.

Sharper: “And Davis shooting his shoulder off the mat!”

Knots: “He lives!”

Sharper: “Davis digging deep.”

Lyman: “Even Beard is impressed!”

Knots: “The One doesn’t though. She’s now watching!”

Sharper: “She’s still on Beard. We saw her focus on him and eliminate him at Taking Hold of the Flame. Almost laser-focused on him!”

Beard turns and grabs him and drags him up. He then whips him into the corner. Beard runs after him and cuffs Davis in the back of the head. Davis hits the mat and Beard turns and grabs him and scoops him up and slams him down. Beard exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope. He turns and steadies himself, but Davis turns and falls into the ropes. Beard lands hard. Davis stumbles back and falls to the official, getting his attention. Aries climbs up and grabs the leg and says something to Beard. We then see Aries jump down as Davis walks over and grabs him and then hip tosses him off the top rope. Davis turns and exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope as the crowd looks on. Beard rolls over and winces, slowly getting up. Davis dives off for the Payment, but Beard moves out of the way. Davis hits the mat. He gets up and Beard jumps up and hits the Take a Knee. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Take a Knee! Davis missed. Beard didn’t!”

Beard hooks the leg.

The crowd roars as Beard rolls off. Holly just looks at the ring and shakes her head. She points to it before turning to Aries. Aries tries to calm her down before pointing to Christy-Lizbeth. The One just calmly heads to the back.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Beard!”

Sharper: “Beard wins! Davis’s losing streak continues!”

Lyman: “And both Holly and GiGi, not thrilled.”

Cid walks over and starts to listen in as Holly and GiGi continue to talk.

Holly: “Can he even take to it?”

GiGi: “He can. We need to give him time. Selena did damage.”

Holly: “She ruins everything. We need successes though.”

Cid: “What about just helping him-“

GiGi: “We are Cidnay.”

Holly: “Yeah, Cidnay, but we also are putting a lot into him. And maybe Christy-Lizbeth here is better. Okay?”

Cid: “What about just-“

Holly: “Cidnay…we have it!”

GiGi: “We do. We appreciate your thoughts though.”

Cid turns and looks in the ring as Beard celebrates as Davis rolls over, clearly disappointed. Cid turns and walks around the ring and joins Cookie. He motions to her before they start to walk to the back.

Sharper: “Guess Cid doesn’t feel he’s needed.”

Knots: “Just they care and Holly and GiGi got it!”

Sharper: “Do they care?”

Knots: “Not you too!”

Cid and Cookie start to head up the rampway as we see Datura then walk out from the back. Cookie looks a bit more vibrant as she looks up. Cid then walks forward and looks at her and then glances back at Holly and GiGi. Datura walks up to him as the crowd boos.

Sharper: “No…Datura with Cid and Cookie.”

Lyman: “Don’t tell me she’s going to buy in.”

Cookie turns to Datura smiling as Cid looks at her and then Datura. He glances back at the ring before turning and heading to the back. Datura turns to Cookie as Datura watches Cid leave before Cookie wraps her arm around Datura. She turns and starts to escort Datura to the back as Cid just heads to the back.

Sharper: “Guess Datura is going to be Cid’s project?”

Lyman: “Looked like it, but Cid…almost a bit of…was that lack of confidence. We saw Cid through Cookie give Lexy’s phone back too.”

Knots: “Don’t start assuming anything. Not there!”

Cid heads to the back as Datura and Cookie walk off. Holly then notices this before pointing it out as GiGi looks down and sighs before shaking his head and then turning and whispering something to Holly. Holly nods. Beard starts to head to the back, high-fiving fans as Davis rolls to the floor and Christy-Lizbeth checks on him briefly only for him to push away.

Breakdown returns as we see Holly Adams walking into the Brand, trademarked, locker room. She looks around as we see Cid Turner grabbing his bags and Adrenaline Championship and starting to leave.

Holly: “Whoa! Cidnay! Where are you going?”

Cid: “Look, you and GiGi…you seem to have it figured out.”

Holly: “Well of course we do, but I saw you with Datura. That’s going the right way. This is big for the brand. Even if she’s just…well…Datura. Every success helps us build back up. If only Samuel would follow Christy-Lizbeth’s lead-“

Cid: “Yeah, don’t worry. I’ll help Datura.”

Holly: “Good. This is big. Bigger than the Positive State.”

Cid: “I got it.”

Holly: “Great. I’m glad I don’t need to worry about her. I mean…she is…well….”

Cid: “She’s what?”

Holly: “Well, I offer a certain level and well…don’t worry about it. You’ve got it. Positive State and all and you’ll make her into a success.”

Cid: “Don’t worry. I will. Hope Samuel gets on the winning ways.”

Holly: “Me too. Dragging us down. Letting Selena get to him.”

Cid stops again and then turns back.

Cid: “Well she is terrible.”

Holly: “Thank you!”

Cid nods and heads off as Holly starts to rant.

Holly: “She just ruins everything. At least GiGi can hopefully clear his mind for a bit. Or at least give him something to put his energy in and build some positivity. Really seems to help you and-“

Holly turns. Cid is gone.

Holly: “Oh…well…now…wait, I left that here.”

Holly looks around. She shrugs.

Holly: “Maybe Brittany has it.”

The scene cuts away.

We open up at ringside as Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman sit at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome here to ringside and Holly Adams clearly feeling the pressure.”

Knots: “Look! Life coaching is a results based business!”

Sharper: “I don’t disagree. Cid Turner seemed just off there-“

Knots: “Top stars!”

Lyman: “Datura meanwhile apparently going to give in. Going to turn to Cid. I don’t know what to say.”

Sharper: “I have to say I’m disappointed. But…”

Knots: “Why? They’ve done wonders with Samuel and Christy-Lizbeth and Cookie!”

The camera cuts to the crowd where we see a group of red-shirted security walking in through one of the ground-level entrances. They line up in front of the fans for a moment and seem to be holding them back. Then the lights go out leaving the arena in complete darkness. The screen fills with images of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural address.

“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is—”

There’s a record scratch before a deep voice fills the arena.

“INFAMOUS!”

The opening of “Open Your Eyes” by Guano Apes hits the PA system.

“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”

The song gets stuck on the word and is then interrupted by the deep sound of the voice of Marilyn Manson.

“Just lay your head in daddy’s lap
You’re a bad girl!”

“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as we cut to the backstage. We see Ravyn Taylor walking the corridors, accompanied by both CHBK and Alexander Crowe. We can hear the boos from the live crowd as we follow the trio walking backstage. We then cut to the shot of the doorway again where we see Ravyn Taylor walk through. She pauses, a smirk on her face for a moment, before beginning to walk to the ring.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

We follow the group as they make their way down toward ringside, with security keeping fans back in the aisles. Ravyn doesn’t seem at all distracted by the noise and movement of people around her however, keeping her eyes focused on the ring. She gets to the barricade and pauses. Alexander Crowe grabs her by the arms and lift her up and over. She jumps down the other side and smirks again as she starts to walk toward the ring.

Sharper: “We heard Ravyn Taylor earlier, almost intrigued by what she saw from Nicole Kinneck at Taking Hold of the Flame. Nicole involved in four separate entries.”

Knots: “Yeah! How the hell does that work?”

Sharper: “It turns out that each of her personalities when in the driver’s seat signed up. As it is first come first served under Shaun Cruze, she entered four times. And in the end, chased Ravyn Taylor from the ring.”

Ravyn steps up the ring steps and enters the ring. Crowe and CHBK follow as Ravyn walks across the ring and over to the corner. She demands a microphone. Phillips obliges, handing her one. Ravyn Taylor takes it, walking to the middle of the ring. She then looks out at the crowd as her music fades out. The crowd boos loudly as Ravyn scans across the arena.

Lyman: “They love her here in Texas.”

Sharper: “A reaction that makes me proud to be from here.”

Ravyn looks around.

Ravyn: “Now while many of you mouthbreathers are going to expel oxygen, pretending to matter, please be quiet as I have an important experiment to conduct.”

The crowd boos. Ravyn looks around. She turns to the entrance way.

Ravyn: “See, at Taking Hold of the Flame, I saw something interesting. Because before I figured there would need to be a stressor or something else that would cause some change in Miss Kinneck. I mean Ducky loves me…She understands the importance of standing up for Uncle Roy. But Pro, her protector doesn’t trust me at all. And well, that’s a shame. Because while I may have continued her relevance after her run with Gavin…my ‘brother’…”

Ravyn uses air quotes at this point.

Ravyn: “But we also met I believe Nicole herself…and the one I’ve heard called Luna. That’s the one who chased me out of the battle royal. Now I was not prepared to deal with that although I did wonder if we would see her. My hunch paid off. But that brings me to now.”

Ravyn leans on the ropes.

Ravyn: “You swapped through them one after the other. And at some point each was in control in the lead up to that match in order for each to sign up. I saw the sheets myself…a common symptom of this is the different handwriting. And well…you have my attention.”

Ravyn smirks.

Ravyn: “Because I want to do the ultimate experiment…So I want Luna!”

The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Oh my God!”

Ravyn: “I want to see what depraved personality this is. I want to know all about her. You don’t get an opportunity like this all the time and I want to meet her, face to face!”

Ravyn looks at the stage.

Ravyn: “So Nicole, find a way to put her in the driver’s seat. Find some way-“

As the arena lights cut, a video package opens up on the big screen, showing a dim lit corridor with one strip of light flickering in the background. The noise of several people crying and screaming can be heard in the background as the sound of a metal door slamming echoes around the arena. Moments later, a figure on the screen tied up in a straight jacket can be seen from behind, being drug along the corridor by two burly men. The jacketed figure is kicking and struggling to break free as they disappear into the darkness at the end of the corridor. The video package cuts and "I'm So Sick" by Flyleaf hits the PA system as a blinding white strobe light begins to flicker on and off rapidly. Ravyn smiles as we see Nicole Kinneck walk out from the back, microphone in her hand.

Sharper: “And there is Nicole.”

Lyman: “But who is in the driver’s seat?”

Nicole steps forward, a glare on her face. A microphone in her hand and she stands on the stage, looking down at the ring. Ravyn smirks and immediately sits on the ropes, trying to tell her to come to the ring. Nicole just points to the ring. Upon speak, we know Pro is in the driver’s seat.

Pro: “You need to rethink what you want to do. We are not some experiment, some scientific observation for your sick games!”

Ravyn smirks.

Pro: “And frankly, you deserve to get the everloving shit kicked out of you!”

The crowd cheers loudly.

Pro: “But I don’t know if you deserve what you want. Taking Hold of the Flame was a mistake. Luna should never have come out. Not then. Not in that way….maybe not ever.”

Ravyn: “I disagree, Pro!”

Pro: “And that’s why I’m out here. Not Duckshit, not Nicole…and definitely not Luna. My role…the Protector. You know damn well from the knots I put on your God damned head you precious little bitch! And tonight, I am protecting YOU!”

Ravyn: “I do not wish nor require your protection!”

Pro: “Yes you do. Because in your desire to know everything, you may end up with your brains spilled on the mat while Luna laps them up!”

The crowd roars. Ravyn looks at the stage.

Pro: “So no, Luna will not be coming out tonight and will never come out if I have anything to say about it. Have your stupid theories. Victimize Nicole all you want. If you come for us, I will take your head off not just for HER safety…but YOURS! BACK THE F[bleep] OFF! NEVERMORE, BITCH!”

Pro turns and heads to the back. Ravyn watches her leave.

Sharper: “Pro not going to let Ravyn do what she wants.”

Knots: “It’s Ravyn. She’s goading her to find a way.”

Lyman: “At her own peril.”

Sharper: “Ravyn’s not angry. She just smirking!”

Ravyn smirks as Pro heads to the back. The crowd boos.

“The Old Me” then plays in the background as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A still of Owen Lee vs. Glory Braddock follows.

Sharper: “Well next, we’ve got a hell of a match. Glory Braddock saved Owen Lee earlier tonight. Owen Lee may have a hurt wrist, but I expect this to be a classic.”

Lyman: “Two great competitors meeting tonight here on Breakdown and it’s next!”

The scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns as we see Datura and Cookie talking.

Cookie: “I’m so happy you’re willing to open you mind to this and well…look, we can help and I’m sure, Jordan…and-“

Datura: “Look, don’t mention Jordan and-“

Cid then walks into the scene.

Cid: “Okay, let’s go.”

Datura: “What about Holly…or GiGi?”

Datura mentioned Giovanni’s “new” name with some concern.

Cid: “This is going to be a Positive State thing and-“

???: “You serious?”

Cid turns.

Cid: “Alexis…look-“

Quinne: “Yo, Cid…I respect what you do in that ring, but after what I saw GiGi handing out, I gotta put this on blast and say-“

Cid: “Look, I’m trying to help-“

Datura: “He is.’

Quinne and Datura lock eyes.

Quinne: “Really? Using yourself to help him. When he’s facing a challenger. To…you’re one of the strongest people I know.”

Datura: “Just…”

Quinne: “You have to know how much I respect you and-“

Cid: “And sometimes people need help. I promise-“

Quinne: “Sorry if I’m not buying that after earlier.”

Cookie: “Not your choice!”

Datura: “She’s right.”

Datura turns and heads off with Cookie and Cid as Quinne watches them leave. She shakes her head.

Quinne: “I left my Warriors for this. What are you doing?”

Glory Braddock vs. Owen Lee

The first chords of "When Legends Rise" begins to play over the PA system...

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, from London, England, she is The British Bombshell, Glory Braddock!”

Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.

It's burning down, it's burning high
when ashes fall the legends rise
We burned it out oh my oh why
When ashes fall the legends rise

Throat is dry, my vision's fading
I'm paralyzed and left here waiting
Taking time just one step forward
Won't lose my mind, I'm here to stay

The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring.  Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly...

Sharper: “Glory Braddock, as we mentioned, saving Owen Lee earlier tonight. She may have a new attitude. A desire to have fun, but she wants to win.”

Lyman: “And you not only that, but you want to face the best and Owen Lee, he has quickly reestablished himself as that!”

Knots: “Don’t let Josh Hudson hear you!”

The opening rifts to “Here we Go” by Chris Classic blasts through the PA, as mist fills the entranceway. The music stops, a huge explosion rocks the entranceway and Owen jumps, seemingly through the floor and landing on his feet, dropping to one knee and punching the floor

“I been more than ready
Preppin' heavy
For this day to come”

Owen gets to his feet, and looks left and right at the reaction he is getting, a look of focus and determination on his face as he takes in the crowd.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Miami, Florida, he is Owen Lee!”

“And so now nothing can stop me
I just grind and work
Yeah yeah, you know the motto
You know we goin' hard cause we might never see tomorrow”

He begins the walk down to the ring, slapping the hand of anyone who offers, before sliding in and under the bottom rope, before standing in the middle of the ring his arms outstretched.

“I keep my eye on the fakes and got real from it
Mastered patience and free will from it
That's the real motivation some people kill for it
I keep reachin' for greatness because I'm built from it”

Owen points to the turnbuckle and then runs towards it, bouncing on the middle ropes and back flipping backwards, landing on both feet.

“Here we go
Give it a 100 never nothin' less
Here we go
We comin', you already know the rest
Here we go
We never settle 'cause we know it best
Who wanna test? Who?
Leave you outta breath”

Owen pulls on the top rope a couple of time, applauding the fans as his music fades. He turns to Glory.

Sharper: “Owen Lee looking good. We do know that wrist still is tender. Glory will know that.”

Lyman: “Right now, it looks good, but you can see how he has it taped.”

The camera focuses on Owen’s left arm as Aaron Demitra calls for the bell. Owen and Glory circle the ring as the crowd cheers. They then lock up in the middle of the ring. Glory grabs at the arm, but Owen turns into a side headlock. He pulls back as Glory keeps holding onto the arm. Glory gets Owen back to the ropes and then fires him off. Owen bounces off and shoulders Glory down. Owen turns and runs into the ropes. Glory rolls towards him. Owen hops over and bounces off the other side. Glory jumps up and hits a leap frog. Owen hits the opposite side and Glory hits a hip toss. She holds onto the arm and Owen spins around and kicks her off. Glory rolls back. Both get up and Glory runs at Owen. He bounces off and Glory hits a huge dropkick to the jaw. The crowd ohs. Owen hits the mat.

Glory goes for the pin.

Glory ducks that and bounces off the other side only for Owen to jump up and dropkick her in the face. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Glory landed on the turnbuckle but Owen realized she could counter. Into a neckbreaker!”

Lyman: “And hard landing for Glory. She landed more on her head and neck than one wants!”

Owen turns and grabs her and drags her up and hits a snap suplex. Owen turns and moves to the middle rope, pulling himself to the middle turnbuckle and then diving forward with a front elbow drop. Glory holds her face. Owen hooks the leg.

Knots: “Owen may have just evened the field!”

Lyman: “Glory was almost surprised by that. Owen has been more striking and high impact.”

Sharper: “And with Josh Hudson and him on the collision course, Owen clearly taking advantage of this opportunity to face a top technician!”

Owen turns stomps her in the chest and then again before grabbing Glory. He pulls her up and kicks her in the ribs. He then fires her across. Glory bounces off and Owen scoops her up, but Glory flips through and lands on her feet. Sharper: “And Glory maybe has a different hope here. She wanted to fly it looks like. She’ll certainly trade holds.”

Knots: “Or maybe she’s got another idea here!”

Glory exits to the apron as Owen starts to stir on the floor. (1) He winces and gets up and springboards to the middle rope and hits an asai moonsault onto Owen, her legs colliding with the barricade. The crowd ohs as both roll over. Sharper: “Glory didn’t let go after the pin. Now has the arm! Bridging over!”

Lyman: “This is just pressure on the wrist!”

Sharper: “Not just that, but on Glory’s ankle and knee.”

Knots: “She’s trying to fight through it. I don’t know how bright this is! But if Owen taps!”

Owen yells out as Demitra checks on him. He lifts his arm and then bites his free hand as Glory keeps the hold on. Owen yells out as Glory keeps trying and then drops down, rolling over, holding her ankle. She then rolls over and winces a bit before starting to get up and limping over to the corner. Sharper: “And again! Back to the Lee Lock!”

Knots: “Glory could be in trouble, big time!”

Lyman: “Do you want to ankle injury at this point? This part of the calendar year. They take sometimes months to recover from!”

Glory bridges up and Owen twists before Glory flips forward and Owen falls forward, pulling Glory’s boot right off. Owen falls hard into the middle rope. He pops up and steps back as Glory grabs his head and hoists him up and drops him with the Beautiful Insanity. Glory rolls over and takes a moment to recover. Owen shoots his shoulder up. Glory rolls over. Owen looks around as Glory rolls over. She starts to get up as Owen stirs. Glory grabs him and clubs him in the back and then again before grabbing his arms and twisting him around, but Owen shoves Glory forward. Glory bounces off and Owen lifts her up and hits a hot shot. Glory hits the top rope and staggers back. Owen gets up and runs past her. He jumps up for the Redemption, but Glory moves out of the way. Owen steps forward and Glory limps at him and runs over and pushes him into the ropes before pulling Owen back with an Okana roll but Owen rolls through.

3!

The crowd roars. Glory kicks out after the three as Owen falls forward. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Owen Lee!”

Sharper: “Owen counters the roll up for the win!”

Lyman: “Hey! Look! Look! Josh Hudson!”

Hudson slides into the ring as Owen gets up and Hudson clotheslines him down before Glory gets up only for Hudson to grab her and throw her over the top rope to the floor. Owen rolls over and Hudson turns back and Owen gets up and Hudson takes him down by the arm and then pulls on the arm and the wrist before locking in a crossface. Owen yells in pain.

Sharper: “Hudson attacking Owen and Glory!”

Lyman: “He’s going after Owen’s left arm!”

Hudson pulls back.

Hudson: “Tap, you bitch! Tap!”

Owen yells out as Hudson keeps pulling back. Owen reaches out before Hudson moves into the Sever(in) Mission. The crowd boos as Owen struggles for a moment before starting to fade. Hudson keeps the hold on, his eyes wide in pure rage. Owen fades quickly as the official calls for the bell again and then tries to get Hudson to stop. Hudson keeps the hold on as Owen fades entirely, going limp.

Sharper: “Owen Lee is out! Get help! Hudson has choked him out!”

Knots: “Owen’s completely limp, guys!”

Sharper: “Get help!”

Glory starts to get up as officials run down to the ring. Glory slides into the ring as Hudson keeps the hold on, smiling. The official, Aaron Demitra, tries to get Hudson to stop. The other officials enter the ring. They go over and try to pry Hudson off of Owen. Owen is not even struggling as Hudson keeps the hold on. Finally, Glory runs over and helps the officials before Hudson lets go and rolls away. Owen drops to the mat. Glory goes over to check on him as officials get Hudson away from Owen. Hudson looks at Owen, almost in a trance, before snapping out of it.

Hudson: “It’s not going to be that easy next time!”

Sharper: “What the hell is wrong with him?!”

“The Old Me” plays as Breakdown cuts backstage. Adam Allocco is walking down the hallway, a bottle of water in his hand. He takes a drink of it as he walks forward.

Sharper: “As we try to regain order in the ring, when we return, the 2022 Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal winner, Adam Allocco joins us to speak on his World Championship shot against Selena Frost at Rise to Greatness XIX!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

The arena lights shutter off. A single beam of golden light is cast down onto the center of the stage, accompanied by a loud bass rumbling from the sound system. A light snowfall of sliver confetti falls within the pillar of light. The rough guitar chords of 'Wired' by JJ Wilder strike the sound system. Adam steps out, head hung low, into the light. He slowly looks up, a blinding flash of light accompanies him dropping down onto his knee. He raises his arms, almost as if he's calling out to God.

Phillips: “Please welcome at this time the 2022 Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal winner, Adam Allocco!”

“Fast cars good life what you waiting for?
Grow up perfect life knocking at your door
I’ve been working for myself since seventeen
Taking orders getting low on self-esteem”

Adam stands up and shoots a pose where he flexes his biceps before kicking his foot up into the air and swinging towards the ramp. He saunters down slowly, while he cocks a wily smile toward any nearby cameras. He forms a triangle with both hands.

“Wake up, same clothes, off I go to hell again
Making money, sinking when I’m trying to swim
I’m tired but I know a guy that has a cure for that
I’m wired, that’s the only way that I stay golden….”

Adam struts up the ring steps, then posing once more against the ropes out on the apron. He kicks up and over and lands on his feet.

“There’s something better than this
I crack my teeth, bite down and grab it
Need something better than this
Break through the prison of my habits”

Adam immediately heads over to a corner and grabs a microphone waiting for him. He then turns and walks back over to the middle of the ring. Adam Allocco looks around as the crowd cheers. His music fades out and Allocco enjoys the reaction of the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “There your winner and it was only a few months ago that Allocco had hit rock bottom.”

Lyman: “And he’s spent time getting himself clean. He still has to make sure he is clean. It could all go away with in bad test.”

Allocco then starts to pat the top of the microphone before bringing it to his mouth.

Allocco: “Well isn’t this a hell of a ride?”

The crowd cheers.

Allocco: “Back in February of this year, I hit rock bottom. I was manipulated by Matt Hodges. I was a rambling drunk. And frankly, I deserved to be fired. SCW gave me every chance to clean up.”

Allocco pauses.

Allocco: “Nothing sucks worse than waking up, half naked in the middle of winter, your clothes gone. Your wallet gone and you have to figure everything out. Then being told that if I keep drinking, I may not have much more time in this world.”

Allocco looks down as the crowd listens.

Allocco: “Since then, I have spent every day fighting to be here. I had to convince Shaun Cruze to even give me a meeting, and that was only after spending a lot of time in HR and proving I had turned the corner. Every show, I have to piss in a cup to prove I should be here. Every night, if I go out for dinner, I know I have eyes on me wondering if this is the night I’ll slip.”

Allocco pauses again.

Allocco: “But I can’t let that happen. And I’ll be damned if I let it happen now. After kicking Ace’s ass, he doesn’t even have the balls to be in the battle royal after trying to take me out. Well, Ace, you can go screw yourself because I’ve got what YOU wanted…a shot at the World Championship!”

The crowd cheers.

Allocco: “And in the process, I’ve done something no one else has done. By winning the battle royal, my son and I hold a record…well…no one is close to touching now. CHBK’s idiot kids aren’t going to get it done. David Helms’s kids are long gone from here. We’re a couple of decades from anyone else and I’m pretty sure Matt Hodges is so self-loathing his kid will never consider wrestling. And damn it, I’m proud of it….and I hope Alistaire is too.”

Allocco then turns and looks up the main camera.

Allocco: “But I’m not done.”

Allocco pauses as the crowd cheers.

Allocco: “You know what, I think I want this to be said to your face, Selena. I know you’re watching this. I’m sure you’re hanging on every word. So let’s just get this done the way it should be. Come on out here. I want to say this to your face.”

Allocco walks over to the ropes nearest the entrance way. He leans on the ropes.

Allocco: “Get her music up. Come on. Let’s do this right. People on the cams can get their good RTG shot too!”

Sharper: “Allocco a former promoter and I guess calling an audible.”

Knots: “I want to hear this!”

Allocco backs up, waiting.

BELIEVE IT!

“Kings and Queens” by Ava Max as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, holding her SCW World Championship. She looks at the ring and then starts to walk down the rampway to the ring as Allocco steps back to give her her space when she enters.

Sharper: “And the World Champion obliges!”

Selena walks down the rampway to the ringside area before then walking over to the steel steps. She walks up them and then wipes her feet before stepping into the ring. She steps forward and goes to walk across for a microphone. Allocco stops her.

Allocco: “No…you just need to listen. You had your time. I just want you out here when I have mine.”

Selena nods and then steps back before motioning for him to say what he wants.

Allocco: “You came out here and you said what everyone knows. My history is my history. Hell, you and I have never gotten along. I’m pretty sure if there was a point where I could’ve slashed your bus’s tires to prevent you from making a show, I would’ve done it. And I would’ve laughed. Just like you would’ve kicked my ass in the ring with no second thought.”

Allocco locks eyes with Selena.

Allocco: “You called it all noise, Selena. Everything I stood for. From fighting for my son a few years back, to coming out here with Bison and a pornstar. Talking about my Onlyfans and trust me, you can still get some GREAT content there. Never mind the fact that I was out of control. Yeah, noise is a good word for it. And yeah, I was responsible for a lot of it. And I even held SCW gold while doing so. Imagine what I’m capable now that I’m thinking clearly.”

Allocco looks at Selena as the crowd cheers some, some boo.

Allocco: “But you said I’m on the right path…and you’re right. But it’s also my only path. And that path brings me to this moment. And I said I’m not done. That’s for two reasons. One because the struggle to keep myself clean is going to be a daily struggle. I can’t be weak once. And two…because I’m not going to rest until I hold a title I’ve always thought I should have held and haven’t, and that’s that one on your shoulder, Selena.”

Allocco points at it as the crowd cheers. The camera focuses on the title.

Allocco: “And while I may have come up above the noise, don’t get it twisted. I still don’t like you. I might respect what you do in this ring, but you are a self-righteous, overhyped bitch!”

The crowd ohs as Selena smirks.

Allocco: “Don’t worry. I know I’m an asshole and half the people in the back celebrated when I hit rock bottom. A bit of karma! Well, karma sometimes bites people in the ass. And while you’re out here talking about integrity and acting like your shit doesn’t stink because you put in the time, I’m putting in different time and I don’t care if my shit stinks. I just care about taking that title and putting it around my waist, so I can add another bit of history…the first father and son in SCW history to win the World Title at Rise to Greatness!”

Selena just keeps mouthing “You’ll try. You’ll try.”

Allocco: “Oh I will try Selena. But just like I can’t fail on my one path, I’m damn sure not going to fail on the other. Because there won’t be an unbelievable main event this year. Just and asshole and a self-righteous bitch fighting each other’s egos for the best. I’ve thought I’d deserved this for my entire SCW career. Now I have it. And against you. I couldn’t have booked it better.”

Allocco then pauses before extending his hand.

Allocco: “I’m going to do this…only now. Because win or lose, I’m not ever shaking your hand again. I’m World Champion and better than you or I’m going to have swallow that you beat me when I have everything going my way.”

Allocco keeps his hand out. Selena looks at it and then at Allocco.

Allocco: “So Selena…”

Selena shakes her head. Selena then flips him off as the crowd roars. Allocco smirks. Selena then points at his hand before saying just to him, in earshot of the camera.

Selena: “You’ll shake my hand one way or another after Rise to Greatness!”

Selena exits the ring and drop down to the floor.

Sharper: “For those who couldn’t hear, Selena just told him he’d shake his hand no matter what after they face at Rise to Greatness.”

Lyman: “That just went up a few notches!”

Sharper: “And we’re just getting started.”

Knots: “Allocco and Frost at Rise to Greatness. Who cares about respect? They hate each other. And the World Title is on the line!”

Sharper: “Allocco says everything is going his way now. That may be true. But it is for Selena too. She’s as good as after. And they’ll meet in six and a half weeks. The Road to Rise to Greatness is here!”

Allocco watches as Frost heads to the back and the scene fades to black…
