Chris Cannon covering Kennedy Street and Owen Cruze follows before we see a shot of Cassidy Carter dancing on her way to the ring, and then a shot of Regan Street and Datura swinging chairs at one another. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

 

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

 

Sharper: “We are in the busiest night life in the country and SCW is busier than ever as we head toward Rise to Greatness!”

 

We then cut to the entrance way as there’s a loud click as the lights around the building flick off and darkness consumes the arena, with nothing but a few flashes from cameras in the crowd lighting the arena. The lights return slowly and dimly in a crimson hue as a boos spread throughout the arena, then without warning we see black and white footage spring to life on the screen of Winston Churchill giving one of his most famous speeches, all the while the chilling sound of air raid sirens and war can be heard in the background...

"We shall fight on the beaches. We shall fight on the landing grounds. We shall fight in the fields, and in the streets. We shall fight in the hills. We shall NEVER surrender!"

The video suddenly burns away to reveal a second hidden image of the devious ex-president George H. W. Bush giving a speech of his own...

"When we are successful, and we will be, we'll have a real chance at this new world order..."

“Indestructible” By Disturbed hits over the P.A system causing the crowd to erupt into a sea of boos as they know who is about to make their presence felt. The curtains part as Syren steps forward, holding the SCW World Championship. CHBK and Ravyn walk out next, Ravyn holding the interim World Championship given to her last week, with Alexander Crowe following and finally Christy Matthews walking out with Christopher Richter. The crowd boos. The group stands on the stage as they look around. Syren and Ravyn tap their World Titles.

 

Sharper: “And we may be starting with some of the betting favourites in SCW, not just because of skill, but because they always have a plan.”

 

Knots: “Last week, Syren had some fun at Alistaire Allocco’s expense. Allocco stood his ground. Ravyn and Christy meanwhile managed to get one past Twin Magic, thanks to Abigail Lindsay!”

 

Sharper: “And now Ravyn comes out with the interim World Title. Obviously, trying to just continue to rub things in people’s faces.”

 

Knots: “Didn’t come out with the match. Coming out now. There’s always some method.”

 

Syren leads the way smiling as CHBK, Ravyn, Alexander, Christy and Christopher follow. They head down to the ring. The crowd continues to boo as they reach the ring and each take their moment to enter. CHBK holds the ropes open for Syren before Syren looks around and smiles, proudly holding the SCW World Championship. Ravyn smirks and does the same, holding up her title before entering and following her wife. Crowe enters and smirks before walking over and wrapping his arms around both Syren and Ravyn, clearly playing up his connection. CHBK turns and walks across the ring and asks for two microphones. Jason Phillips hands one and CHBK sternly tells him to bring a second. He obliges and CHBK hands one to Syren and the other to Ravyn. CHBK then looks around as Christy and Christopher remain in the background, scanning the arena. The crowd continues to boo.

 

Syren: “Oh don’t worry. I used to hate that sound, but all that means is that everyone here is so totally jealous of everything WE have done.”

 

The crowd boos some more.

 

Syren: “While all of you gamble away whatever small fortunes you’ve amassed to have a fraction of the glory we have, we stand tall by any means necessary!”

 

The crowd boos as Syren looks around.

 

Ravyn: “Does this image bother you? The fact that both of us are legitimately former World Champions. When we add Alex and Christy, there are four people who have held that title at some point in SCW history. Whereas Christy has never gotten the respect she’s deserved and CHBK will rightfully point out that his time at the top of this sport has come and gone…well, we know SCW will never give me the keys to the castle again and so is Syren, the one who had the favour of some in the office, but then realized even she deserved more. And now she will do anything to hold onto it. Just as we will do anything we have to ensure of it.”

 

Ravyn looks around.

 

Sharper: “And they are shameless about it.”

 

Ravyn: “We always have a plan. WE always have a way to make sure we come out on top. So called greatest evers couldn’t stop us, and even when they may have some inkling of legitimacy to their gripes…their actions remove their moral highground. You either attempt to come down to our level and fail, or you try to rise above it…and fail again.”

 

Syren: “It’s refreshing isn’t it? I mean I busted my ass in this ring time and time again, but now…it’s simply about the end result. The end justifies the means. It’s why I stand here as World Champion. Even when Sasha would not listen to my doctors about my injuries…injuries caused in that Tactical Warfare, I have overcome and stand here still as the BEST in professional wrestling.”

 

Ravyn: “We’ve taken on the beautiful, the angry, the flawless, the unhinged, the materialistic, the company….and here we are. Katya may no longer have her inside track to the ownership, but we can make sure that everything this company does is because of us, showing the respect we have earned.”

 

Syren: “Just like the interim Championship on your shoulder…you should’ve had your shot years ago. You deserve much more and yet you sacrifice it all for me. That’s what true love is. Chris and Sienna won’t have that. Kennedy and Knots don’t have that. Regan and David…don’t have that…and Alistaire and Peyton, even if they become the Disney couple…please…they won’t have that. WE are perfect…”

 

Ravyn smirks as Syren looks around as the crowd boos.

 

Ravyn: “And so as we stand on the precipice of Rise to Greatness XVI, where many seemingly are lining up to take their shot at Infamous in one way or another, the Kim Williams, the Cassidy Carters…Sienna Swann wants her rematch…Regan Street hinted it at before something shinier came her way and oh, don’t forget, Alistaire Allocco, your winner of the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal…What’s your plan to beat us? Fall to our level or try to rise above it. You hope Sasha will develop some stipulations to stop us? Like she tried at Taking Hold of the Flame?”

 

Ravyn smirks.

 

Syren: “You can’t stop us. You try to outwrestle me…I will beat you. If you try to outsmart us, you will just fail! No matter what, this is the new symbol of greatness! The same symbol it always was. The only difference…I’m not looking to steal the show. I’m looking to remain champion. And make everyone backstage, everyone in this sport, and everyone watching in this arena and at home, TOTALLY jealous….If we’re going to be Infamous, we’re going to live up to the name!”

 

The crowd boos as Syren smirks and looks at the camera. Ravyn looks around, smiling herself before we cut to a shot on the big screen that shows Adam Allocco standing with Sasha outside of her office.

 

Adam: “What are you going to do about this? You have a chance to finally have the greatest wrestler in the history of modern times to be your World Champion, again, and you have them openly flaunting how they’re going to cheat their way.”

 

Sasha goes to speak, but Adam keeps talking.

 

Adam: “Now, since I’m a former promoter, let me give you some tips. You’re new and well, I think first off, you need to make sure they’re all out from ringside.”

 

We cut to the ring to see Syren and Ravyn watching as CHBK shakes his head in the background. Backstage, Sasha looks at him uncertain as Adam continues.

 

Adam: “And then you want to know the problem with Taking Hold of the Flame…”

 

Sasha: “No, what?”

 

Sasha asks deadpanning.

 

Adam: “I wasn’t the special referee. Give me the zebra shirt, I’ll hop in there and I’ll make for damn sure that none of those cheaters prosper. Just my son Alistaire!”

 

Adam smiles proudly as Sasha looks at him.

 

Sasha: “Are you done?”

 

Adam: “Well, of course, it’s the perfect plan.”

 

Sasha: “Well about your plan, I have something different-“

 

Alistaire then rushes over into the scene. Adam turns to him as he comes over.

 

Alistaire: “Dad, what are you?”

 

Adam: “Don’t worry, son. I’ve just made sure you’ll walk out World Champion!”

 

Sasha: “I don’t know about that, but I was just going to let him know what I planned to do about the World Championship match at Rise to Greatness-“

 

Adam: “You’re going to hold the gold again!”

 

Alistaire: “Don’t do anything!”

 

Sasha turns to Alistaire. Adam looks at him.

 

Adam: “Relax son. This is not the time to show your fortitude!”

 

Sasha: “I’m happy to ensure it’s a fair fight.”

 

Alistaire: “I will ensure it’s a fair fight. I’m fine with their nefarious means. I know I can defeat anyone who will use it. I saw their hollow words. I will outdo them. I will outdo them on THEIR terms.”

 

Adam: “Alistaire…stop.”

 

Adam turns to Sasha as Syren and Ravyn just laugh in the ring, confidently. Christy looks on as CHBK and Crowe chat behind Dark Fantasy.

 

Adam: “He’s just trying to impress a girl. Don’t listen to him. Men are stupid around women.”

 

Sasha: “Explains your problem. Now…”

 

Sasha turns to Alistaire as Adam looks around.

 

Adam: “Wait. What?”

 

Sasha: “Are you sure?”

 

Alistaire: “One hundred percent. With God on my side, and with my skill, I know I can beat Syren and whatever plan they come up with.”

 

Sasha: “Alright…I’ll hold off on banning them.”

 

Alistaire: “Thank you.”

 

Adam: “What are you doing son?”

 

Alistaire: “Proving everything you’ve said of me.”

 

The crowd buzzes as Alistaire walks off. Adam looks at Sasha and then Alistaire before following.

 

Sharper: “He’s asking for no special treatment. Against Infamous.”

 

Knots: “He’s either confident, arrogant or stupid. Maybe all three!”

 

Back in the ring, we see Syren and Ravyn chuckle and laugh. Syren just turns to the crowd.

 

Syren: “Guess we’re going to find out who’s telling the truth.”

 

Syren puts the microphone down as Ravyn does too. Crowe keeps pointing at Syren, insinuating it will be her. The crowd boos as “Groupie” plays throughout the arena. The crowd continues to boo as we cut to ringside and the SCW announce table to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots.

 

Sharper: “The World Championship situation heading into Rise to Greatness. We assume it will be Alistaire Allocco challenging Syren, but after what Syren and Ravyn Taylor had to say, you have to wonder what people are thinking.”

 

Knots: “Openly saying they will do anything. Why hide it? They’ve made it obviously for the last year and a half. And Alistaire is walking right into it and he knows it and he’s okay with it!”

 

Sharper: “Hello again everyone, Adam Sharper here, along with Jonathan Knots and this is an alarming start. Biggest prize in wrestling on the line in just about a month. But tonight, plenty to talk about too. The US Championship is going to be on the line!”

 

Knots: “Bree Lancaster is getting her rematch. She’s challenging Giovanni Aries for the title, not the damn ribbons, the actual title and I don’t know what’s better here. Giovanni with his complete disregard for tradition or Bree Lancaster who is Bree Lancaster!”

 

Sharper: “That’s not all. Chris Cannon may keep ducking Kennedy Street, but he will be in action tonight against someone who took issue with his actions a few weeks ago when he saved Owen. Aaron Blackbourne will face Chris Cannon.”

 

Knots: “And that could be one to watch. Aaron wants to stand out, immediately show where he should be in his career…shut up Chris Cannon!”

 

Sharper: “And along with that, Selena Frost will be in action against Damian Angel and that could be an interesting one to watch. Could it be to get Damian out of the way that US Title shot.”

 

Knots: “Or Selena.”

 

Sharper: “And Cassidy Carter, we heard of her from Ravyn. We didn’t hear of Abigail Lindsay from Ravyn and that’s concerning to me. But Abigail and Cassidy will fight tonight.”

 

Knots: “And Rachel Tatum Lee is here! Is she going to respond to Brittany Lohan? So much going on tonight!”

The scene opens up backstage to see Autumn Valentine and Ryan Watson walking out of one of the locker rooms.

 

Ryan: “C’mon. Lookin’ ta make a big impression.”

 

Autumn: “Jesus. You’re acting like you’ve never been in the ring.”

 

Ryan: “Ey, Flame felt ta good, if ya ask me. Missed it.”

 

Autumn: “Could’ve scratched the itch months ago, you know!”

 

Autumn and Ryan take another step as Ryan stops and Ikiro Yoshida walks over to them. Autumn looks at him.

 

Autumn: “You lost?”

 

Ikiro eyes Ryan.

 

Ryan: “Oy, I dunno what ya got goin’ fer me but ya creepin’ me out.”

 

Ikiro then squeezes Ryan’s arm. Ryan pulls away.

 

Ryan: “I’ll pop ya one!”

 

Ryan makes a fist and Ikiro slaps Ryan’s chest and nods.

 

Ikiro: “Built strong. Good challenge.”

 

Ikiro smiles and steps off as Ryan looks around.

 

Ryan: “The hell was dat about!”

 

Autumn: “Let’s go…”

 

Sharper: “I guess Ikiro Yoshida doing some review for the Trueloves. Ryan Watson will compete on Breakdown for the first time in years, teaming with his wife Autumn, against the no longer Beauty Factory, Truelove Twins, next!”

 

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Ryan Watson & Autumn Valentine vs. The Truelove Twins

 

“Just A Dream” by Nelly plays throughout the arena, a gold spotlight with blue flashers begin to circle the entranceway. The two beautiful Twins, London and Paris Truelove walk out holding hands. They look out at the crowd and then to the ring.

 

Phillips: “The opening contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are London and Paris, the Truelove Twins!”

 

The Twins then make their way down the aisle interacting with the fans as they both get to the apron at the same time. Paris steps into the ring as London holds the ropes open for her. Paris then holds the ropes open for London. They both walk to the turnbuckles, climb to the second ropes and pose. London looks down and sighs as Paris basks in the moment. She jumps down as London steps down. They then walk over to their corner.

 

Sharper: “A bit different. No Laura. No Beauty Factory. They’re on their own!”

 

Knots: “They have Ikiro Yoshida!”

 

Sharper: “And he’s already looking over their competition.”

 

The lights dim slightly and the spotlights point down at the stage as the fans quieten in expectation. A woman whispering can be heard across the PA system.

“Don’t bless me father, for I have sinned...”

“Miss Nothing” by The Pretty Reckless begins playing across the PA system as the fans boo. After a few seconds Autumn Valentine walks out onto the stage with a smile on her face, standing in the middle of the spotlights for a moment before spinning around and holding out her arms downward, revealing the words “DARK FANTASY” on the back of her ring jacket.

Autumn spins back around, seemingly enjoying the negative crowd reaction. She stands for a moment before looking back over her shoulder. The fans booing gets louder as she’s joined on the stage by Ryan Watson. Watson holds her hand as the two of them head to the ring.

 

Phillips: “Their opponents, they are Autumn Valentine and Ryan Watson!”

 

Once at ringside, Autumn jumps up on the ring entrance as Ryan pulls himself up using the bottom rope. He then stands and holds down the middle rope for her to enter. The fans boo louder as Autumn now ascends the ropes in the corner, standing on the middle rope once again soaking in their reaction as Ryan Watson heads over to another corner and looks around. Autumn flips back out of the corner, spinning around and landing on her feet. She then removes her jacket, placing it on the apron. Ryan takes off his jacket before looking across the ring.

 

Sharper: “Ryan Watson making his return to action on Breakdown. Teaming with his wife Autumn Valentine.”

 

Knots: “The SCW Tag Division starting to get bigger and better by the week.”

 

Sharper: “And Ryan Watson likely knows, being connected to Kandis, but she and Tommy Valentine will challenge for the SCW World Tag Team Championship next week, here on Breakdown!”

 

The bell sounds and Ryan steps out of the ring. London looks at Autumn. The two circle the ring and London and Autumn move in and go for a grapple, but London quickly knees Autumn in the ribs. She then grabs Autumn by the arm and wrenches it. Autumn winces. She jerks on the arm again before Autumn flips forward and then nips up and wrenches London’s arm. London flips over to her back and holds on. Autumn hooks London’s arm. London slowly starts to get up and Autumn continues to hold on and she kicks her in the ribs. She goes to fire London into the ropes, but London spins through and sends Autumn in. Autumn bounces off and London hits a spinning crescent kick to the jaw. Autumn hits the mat. London goes for the pin.

Autumn kicks out. London gets up as Autumn pulls herself up and London grabs her. She turns and sends her into the Truelove corner. Autumn turns and London forearms her in the jaw. She then tags in Paris. London holds Autumn back as Paris runs to the middle of the ring and stops. London then drops down in front of Autumn and Paris jumps off her back and hits the London Tower. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: “London Tower early and right to the jaw. Trueloves looking to prove something early!”

 

Knots: “Autumn may be out already!”

 

Autumn collapses to the mat and Paris goes for the pin.

Autumn kicks out. Paris rolls off. Autumn rolls over as Ryan looks on. Paris grabs her and forearms her in the jaw. Autumn falls back into the corner. Paris walks forward and chops her. The crowd woos. She then wrenches the arm and pulls her out before stopping and pulling her back in. Autumn however jumps up and flips over the top rope to the apron. Paris turns and goes for a spin kick. Autumn ducks and Paris turns and goes to grab Autumn, but Autumn shoulders her in the ribs. Paris bends over and Autumn flips over her back and onto her knees. She runs into the ropes, intentionally moving away from the corner before Paris turns and goes to grab her, but Autumn hits a spinning heel kick.

 

Sharper: “Spinning heel kick as Autumn knows how to get those kicks in too.”

 

Knots: “And each one of those can connect and do some serious damage.”

 

Sharper: “Autumn got Paris under the jaw. No cover. Going to tag instead!”

 

Paris stirs as Autumn tags in Ryan. Ryan enters and Paris gets up only for Ryan to hits a chop to the chest. Paris grimaces and Autumn then kicks her in the ribs. Autumn and Ryan then both grab Paris and hit a double Russian leg sweep. Autumn rolls through and turns to London as Ryan rolls through into a pin.

London steps in a moment before back out as Paris kicks out. Autumn backs away to the corner as Paris slowly gets up and Ryan pushes her into the corner. He shoulders her in the ribs and then again. She then whips her across. Paris hits the opposite corner and Ryan runs after, but Paris gets a boot up. Paris runs along the apron, stopping at her corner and tagging in London. London enters and Ryan turns and lunges at them going for a double clothesline. Paris and London both somersault under and get up and Ryan turns and Paris and London hit straight kicks to the ribs before then grabbing him and hitting a mat slam into the turnbuckle. London follows up with a shoot kick to the ribs, over and over as Paris exits. Autumn looks on.

London steps off and tags in Paris. Paris enters and kicks Ryan over and over in the corner.

Paris steps out and the crowd looks on. Ryan staggers out and Paris jumps up and hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

Autumn nails her as Ryan kicks out. Ryan rolls over as Paris stirs and gets up. She tags in London as Ryan slowly stirs. Autumn looks on.

 

Sharper: “Ryan Watson may be wishing he stayed on the sidelines! The Trueloves are using their chemistry and their shrewdness to make things painful for him.”

 

Knots: “And now London is back in. Ryan may not even remember which one he’s in the ring with!”

 

London grabs Ryan and elbows him in the back of the head before running into the ropes herself. She then hits a running boot to the jaw. Ryan hits the mat. London goes for the pin.

Ryan gets his shoulder up and rolls over. He stirs as London gets up. She looks around and to Autumn who paces a bit. London turns to Ryan and grabs him, but Ryan suddenly hits a jawbreaker. London falls back to the ropes and staggers forward before Ryan kicks her in the ribs, hooks her head and hoists her up for a vertical suplex, but lets her drop before hitting a neckbreaker. Ryan gets back up and staggers to his feet and hits the Leap of Fame on London. He hooks the leg.

London gets her shoulder up.

 

Sharper: “Nearfall and Paris even a bit surprised how close.”

 

Knots: “London got out though. Ryan still has the hops!”

 

Ryan rolls over and Paris looks on as London stirs. Ryan then grabs her by the head and spins her around into the corner. Ryan tags in Autumn. Ryan then hits a snap suplex. Autumn springboards to the top rope and hits a splash. The crowd ohs. Autumn goes for the pin.

Paris nails Ryan. London kicks out though. Autumn gets up and Paris goes to nail her, but Autumn blocks it and kicks her in the ribs. She turns to the ropes, bounces off and hits a running double high knee to the face and rides Paris down. The crowd ohs. Autumn rolls through. London starts to get up as Ryan is forced out of the ring. London turns and Autumn kicks her in the ribs and goes for the Pink Whisper, but London spins out and pulls Autumn into a spinning back kick. London drops to her knees as Ryan looks around and reaches out. Paris rolls to the apron.

 

Sharper: “London gets the spin kick to take down Autumn. All after Autumn jumped up and rode Paris down!”

 

Knots: “Paris has to be checking her face for bruises and god knows what else. May not be part of the Beauty Factory in the ring. But out of it, it’s not clear yet!”

 

London starts to get up and she staggers back as Autumn stirs and Paris gets up and London tags her in. London kicks Autumn in the ribs and Paris runs across and goes to nail Ryan. Ryan ducks and London lunges and hits a superkick. Ryan falls off. The crowd ohs. Paris turns back and Autumn nails her in the ribs and hooks her up before London turns and hits a superkick to her and Autumn falls back. Paris rolls through into a jackknife pin.

The crowd roars. Paris rolls off and London heads over and hugs her.

 

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, the Truelove Twins!”

 

London pulls Paris up as Ryan falls to the ring, holding his jaw.

 

Sharper: “The Trueloves may no longer be in the Beauty Factory but they know their way around the ring. The more polished team with the win tonight.”

 

Knots: “But if Ryan and Autumn are going to be competing together more often, Trueloves better get ready.”

 

Sharper: “The tag division heating up and the Trueloves successful tonight as they set out on their own!”

 

London and Paris celebrating as we cut to see Scarlet Grey and Ruby Amarant watching from the floor. Scarlet smiles as she turns and heads to the back. Ruby then calmly turns and heads to the back too.

Backstage, we open up to see Sienna Swann with Laura Steinbeck and Chris Cannon, who is in his wrestling gear, in the office of Sasha.

 

Sienna: “So I think this is pretty obvious. That little message they gave…Syren handing the interim title to Ravyn. It’s clearly a shot at me, just because I took the Women’s Title and actually gave it a proper send off and while you dither, Syren is bastardizing the title.”

 

Sasha: “You done?”

 

Sienna: “Only if I get what I want. We all know what should happen! Chris should be challenging for a title at Rise to Greatness or at least eliminating a contender and I should get my hands on Ravyn.”

 

Sasha: “Great. Thank you for passing that along. I’ll take it under advisement.”

 

Sienna chuckles as Laura steps in.

 

Laura: “Honey. There’s nothing for you to think about. Are you a businesswoman or just claim to be one?”

 

Regan Street storms into the room.

 

Laura: “Hey!”

 

Regan: “Is she here?!”

 

Laura: “Regan, please, we’re taking care of business.”

 

Sienna: “Regan-“

 

Regan: “Ignore them, Sasha. Is. She. Here?”

 

Sasha turns to Regan.

 

Sasha: “Yes.”

 

The crowd roars.

 

Regan: “Where?”

 

Sasha: “That’s with security.”

 

Regan: “Then I’m going to find out and say hello!”

 

Sasha: “Regan! Wait!”

 

Regan turns and storms off as the crowd roars. Laura then clears her throat. Sasha just looks at her.

 

Sasha: “First off, Laura…I’m not honey. Secondly, I can make this easy. Chris, you can face Kennedy!”

 

The crowd roars.

 

Chris: “Not happening!”

 

Sasha: “Then I gotta think some more. Get out of my office!”

 

Sienna: “Sasha, I get the stress. We’re to the brim taking care of Kelcey and ensuring she’s in good hands-“

 

Sasha: “Sienna. I’m not looking to be convinced of anything, including that your opportunistic attempts to take care of Kelcey aren’t anything but that. You’re not the only people on the card. And you’re also not the only one gunning for Ravyn. Maybe you’ll be better luck convincing them to stand aside.”

 

Sienna: “I don’t need to be talked to by someone who was handed everything. We do care. Without us, who knows what condition Kelcey and Nathaniel would be in. Chris loves her and I love him!”

 

Sienna turns and heads off Chris just glares at Sasha as Sasha watches them leave as the scene fades to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns with a shot of Xander Valentine backstage in a darkened hallway. The silhouette of Artemis can be seen in the background. Xander Valentine leans against the wall and sighs.

 

Xander: “Selena Frost thinks she has answers. Regan Street thinks she can be a hero. Can she now with Datura returning? Or has that dream evaporated? Are you alone now Selena? And yet no one understands what I am doing. People like Selena and Regan, they are merely placeholders to take the top spots in the absence of true dominance. I WAS that dominance….People like Donovan Kayl claimed to be the Cornerstone. Barely accomplished his greatest events in this company and is getting a hero’s sendoff. No such thing will happen when I’m around. Just as D.”

 

Xander pauses and pushes off the wall and turns to the camera.

 

Xander: “But I suppose I should give Selena and Regan and all of them a little help. By the end of the night, let’s see what they really know and really understand.”

 

Xander glances back to Artemis. Artemis then turns and follows Xander off camera as we cut to the ring.

 

Sharper: “What does that mean? Give them help? See what they really know.”

 

Knots: “I don’t know, but some people need to be focusing on watching their ass. That sounds like a threat to me!”

Kelsai Adamson-Mason vs. Maddy Steward

 

“Remember the Name” by Fort Minor plays throughout the arena as the crowd cheers some. Kelsai Adamson-Mason walks out from the back and looks around as Amy Chastaine walks out with her and stands with her. Kelsai smiles as she then starts to head to the ring.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, accompanied by Amy Chastaine, from Seattle, Washington, she is Kelsai Adamson-Mason!”

 

Getting to the ring, Kelsai jumps from the floor to the ring apron before she steps through the ropes, reveals her simple all white attire, and goes to her corner, smiling and waving enthusiastically, before she gets ready for her match. Amy Chastaine walks around and goes to her corner.

 

Sharper: “Kelsai Adamson-Mason about to make her singles debut. She competed in the Taking Hold of the Flame.”

 

Knots: “But can she be a bit more successful than Lucy Sixx last week. Lucy came in strong at Taking Hold of the Flame. Won there, but didn’t get the win against Scarlet.”

 

Sharper: “And Kelsai has to take someone who is a spitfire just like her in Maddy Steward!”

 

“That Girl’s a Genius” blasts through the arena and the camera pans a wide shot and to show the crowd’s pop for the youngest of the Steward clan. The camera changes as it switches to the stage entrance where Madison walks out dress in her dark black ring attire and wearing a steampunk white rabbit mask. She stops on the stage and feeds off the crowds energy that gets her pumped.

 

Phillips: “Her opponent, representing Team Desire, she is from Riverside, California, the Dynamite Kid, Madison Steward!”

 

She takes off down the aisle sprinting to the ring and slides inside it. She gets up on her knees and takes off her mask bopping her head to the music and smiles to the crowd. Madison picks herself up and takes off her black ring coat and gets ready for her match and her music fades out.

 

Sharper: “Maddy Steward is looking at this next month as a gamechanger for her. She’d love to be in something at the event.”

 

Knots: “And that’s why every win matters. You gain attention. Positive attention.”

 

The bell sounds. Maddy and Kelsai look at one another and lunge and grapple in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Kelsai moves into a side headlock. She smiles and Maddy gets her back into the ropes and fires her off. Kelsai bounces off and Maddy shoulders her down. Kelsai hits the mat. Maddy runs into the ropes, bounces off and Kelsai rolls toward her. Maddy hops over and bounces off the other side. Kelsai goes for a clothesline, but Maddy ducks and jumps to the middle rope and dives off and grabs the arm of Kelsai and hits an arm drag. Kelsai rolls through. She gets up and turns and Maddy hits a side headlock takedown and then moves into a pin.

Kelsai kicks out.

 

Sharper: “Maybe some nerves for Kelsai as Maddy is controlling this early.”

 

Knots: “Amy looking on. A bit of concern. Kelsai’s never really competed on a stage like this.”

 

Kelsai starts to get up and Maddy forearms her in the jaw and then pushes her into the corner. She whips her across. Maddy runs after and jumps up and goes for a monkey flip. Kelsai, however, cartwheels through. Maddy gets up and Kelsai hits a dropkick to the chest, knocking Maddy into the corner. Maddy steps out and Kelsai hits a hip toss. She goes for the pin.

Maddy kicks out. Maddy gets up and Kelsai chops her. The crowd woos. She then pushes Maddy into the ropes and fires her off. Maddy bounces off and Kelsai jumps up and crossbodies her down for the pin.

Sharper: “Kelsai using her speed to get some over Maddy. Only twos but they’re a start.”

 

Knots: “Wear down your opponent and Maddy’s taking some hard slams to the mat thanks to Kelsai. You do what you do. Just don’t forget to smile!”

 

Maddy gets up and Kelsai grabs her and hits a side belly to belly suplex. The crowd cheers. Kelsai then into the ropes, jumping to the middle rope and goes for the moonsault, but Maddy gets her knees up. Kelsai rolls through, holding her ribs. Amy looks on concerned and Kelsai gets up and Maddy hits a front dropkick, knocking her down. Maddy turns and exits to the apron. She then climbs up to the top rope and Kelsai starts to get up. Maddy dives off and hits a crossbody into a pin.

Kelsai kicks out. Both women get up and Maddy runs at Kelsai. Kelsai ducks and stops. Maddy turns around and Kelsai kicks her in the ribs and hooks her head hitting a snap suplex. She holds on and gets back up and hits a second snap suplex before holding on and starting to get up again.

 

Sharper: “Snap suplexes in series!”

 

Knots: “Say that three times fast!”

 

She then hits another snap suplex. Kelsai hops up and looks around. The crowd cheers. She then turns to the corner and looks at Maddy before jumping to the middle turnbuckle and then to the top rope before hitting the Double Shot. The crowd cheers. Kelsai stays down for the pin.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Kelsai Adamson-Mason!“

 

The crowd cheers some more as Amy enters the ring.

 

Sharper: “In her singles debut, she gets the win! Hitting the Double Shot to keep Maddy Steward down!”

 

Knots: “And she’s got all of the energy in the world to celebrate!”

 

Sharper: “Amy celebrating with her student. Hey! Wait!”

 

We then see Dustin Adams and Andrew Raynes running down from the back. Adams slides into the ring. Amy steps up to confront him, but Andrew runs over and shoves her back, causing her to land on her bad leg and hit the canvas before rolling to the floor. She gets up as Kelsai lunges at Dustin, but Dustin catches her arm, twists her around and locks her arms in a bearhug. She looks around before Andrew Raynes steps forward and snaps at Amy.

 

Raynes: “You think you can plan for the future. The future is fine without you! SCW was fine WITHOUT you. Consider this your God damned warning. She…she can do fine without you. She’s even already got an enemy!”

 

Amy gets up and lunges for the ring as Raynes turns as Kelsai keeps trying to get free and Raynes blasts her with a superkick. The crowd ohs and boos. Kelsai goes limp from the shot and Adams drops her. Amy slides into the ring and crawls over to her. Dustin backs up and steps through the ropes. Amy looks at Kelsai as the crowd boos loudly. Amy then looks at Andrew. Andrew just turns to her, telling her to “screw off!” Andrew then steps through the ropes and drops to the floor. Andrew and Dustin head to the back, Andrew with a smirk on his face.

 

Sharper: “Andrew Raynes attacking Kelsai! This is her first night. A night she should remember fondly.”

 

Knots: “He just ruined that. And he just made sure Amy had a lot to think about. Threw her on her bad leg and she went down. Attacking her student!”

 

Sharper: “You heard him. She already has an enemy. Andrew Raynes’ pure hatred for Amy Chastaine infecting this poor woman’s young career!”

 

Amy checks on Kelsai as does the official. The crowd chants “Amy!” over and over as Andrew and Dustin head to the back.

COMMERCIALS

Selena Frost is seen walking backstage. The crowd cheers seeing her. She heads over to one locker room door and knocks on the door. She waits a moment and knocks on the door again.

 

Selena: “James! I know you’re here. Security told me you’ve not left.”

 

The door opens and Angelica Jones steps out. Selena turns to her.

 

Selena: “Angelica!”

 

Angelica: “Selena…”

 

Selena: “Can I talk to James? After last week-“

 

Angelica: “Honestly…I don’t know if you I want that.”

 

Selena: “He-“

 

Angelica: “He attacked Giovanni Aries and had to be pulled back from going too far. He’s putting himself in situations to try and trigger things, thinking it will help him get over it. But I’m not sure. He’s trying to control it. Before it was controlled. Now…..I don’t know if it’s best for him to basically poking the bear outright and going after Gio.”

 

Selena: “And if I didn’t see in him the last year that he could have the strength to get through it, I’d be fully in agreement. Especially after what he did years ago. But he also at some point has to deal with Giovanni. Do you think he’s just going to leave James alone? You saw what they did to Konrad.”

 

Angelica looks down and sighs.

 

Angelica: “Sorry Selena. I know it sounds like I’m just standing in the way. But we vowed to watch each other’s backs on this and I’m not convinced this is for the best.”

 

Angelica steps back and closes the door. Selena steps back and sighs as we cut away.

Abigail Lindsay vs. Cassidy Carter

 

The rifts to "Na na na" by My Chemical Romance begins to play throughout the arena as the spoken intro opens up.

Strobe lights begin flashing between different shades of blue, green and red in rapid succession as Cassidy Carter steps out to a barrage of boos. She smiles broadly while stepping in a rhythm around the stage to match the beat as her one woman rave show continues. She throws one arm up over her chest while thrusting the other to the side before bowing smugly before the cheering masses.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, from Las Vegas, Nevada…”

 

The crowd roars.

 

Phillips: “She is the Duchess of Debauchery, Cassidy Carter!”

She makes her way down the ramp, now in full spirits, not really focusing on anything. Her arrogance and lack of real concern or worries showing in spades. She reaches the apron before pulling herself up using the bottom rope for support. Standing along it she raises her head up to the rafters while leaning fully into the top rope. She sways her hips seductively before flipping over the top rope, landing inside the ring before turning and throwing her arms up and walking toward the center of the ring, dancing a bit in a straight line to her own theme song. Her self-admiration and confidence on full display for the world to grovel in. She raises her arms further up, now placing her hands on the back of her head before making her way to the corner. Stepping up onto the second rope she sits on the top turnbuckle before laying back across the top rope, propping her legs crossed casually over the other side. She appears to be becoming slightly impatient now in her comfortable spot waiting for this ordeal to begin and be over with.

 

Sharper: “Cassidy Carter in action in the city she calls home.”

 

Knots: “Makes a lot of sense, huh? This is home.”

 

Sharper: “Bright lights, lots of insanity, but that’s toned down a bit with Ace out thanks to Abigail Lindsay!”

 

A loud purring engine can be heard from somewhere in the arena. The chorus of "Wreak Havoc" by Skylar Grey begins the play. Suddenly, a motorcycle burst from backstage. It stops at the top of the ramp, the person driving the motorcycle briefly takes off her helmet, revealing herself to be Abigail Lindsay. 

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Los Angeles, California, she is Abigail “Serenity” Lindsay!”

She places the helmet back on and drives down to the ringside area. She circles the ring. The bike comes to a halt. Serenity slides off, takes off her helmet, but as she does, Cassidy steps through the ropes and kicks Abigail in the head. Abigail falls to the steel steps. Cassidy kicks her in the face again. Abigail spins off as the crowd roars. Abigail holds onto her helmet as Cassidy steps down the steel steps and Abigail turns and nails Cassidy in the shoulder with the helmet. The crowd ohs as Cassidy falls over to the barricade.

 

Sharper: “Cassidy knocked down. Abigail with the helmet.”

 

Knots: “She fought someone who’s going to do what she wants to do while they were holding a weapon.”

 

Sharper: “Cassidy wasn’t going to wait for her to get into the ring!”

 

Cassidy turns and Abigail moves in and nails her in the ribs with a hard right before she spins her around and throws her into the barricade again back first. Cassidy winces and Abigail kicks her in the ribs and then again and again. The referee leaves the ring and tells them to get in, but Abigail just ignores him and grabs Cassidy and steps forward toward the ringpost, but Cassidy blocks it and elbows Abigail in the ribs before running her face first into the ringpost. Abigail spins off and staggers to the announce table.

 

Knots: “I’m getting out of here.”

 

Sharper: “Abigail ending up at our table. Cassidy right behind! Oh God!”

 

Knots leaves as Sharper steps away as Cassidy tackles Abigail from behind and climbs onto her back and hammers away on the back of Abigail’s head. She hops down and throws Abigail down. Abigail rolls through and gets up and Cassidy nails her with a hard right and then another before Abigail grabs Cassidy by the tights and sends her face first into the steel steps. The crowd ohs as Cassidy rolls over. Abigail pulls herself up at the ringside area and turns back to Cassidy. She grabs her and pulls her up and then drives her face first into the top of the steel steps. Cassidy stumbles back and to the ropes. Abigail then grabs her and rolls her into the ring. Abigail slides through and gets up and the referee tries to stop Abigail, but Abigail grabs Cassidy and pulls her up and runs her into the corner. She then kicks her in the ribs and then again before driving her elbow into the throat of Cassidy and leaning in, choking her. The referee tells her to stop.

 

Sharper: “The official hasn’t rung the bell yet.”

 

Knots: “Supposed to allow both to agree to start, but Cassidy can’t talk right now!”

 

Abigail leans in a bit longer and steps out. She then turns to the official and snaps at him. She then walks over and grabs Cassidy and whips her across. Abigail runs after and jumps up, but Cassidy gets an elbow up. Abigail stumbles back. She turns and tells the official to ring the bell. Cassidy runs out and clotheslines Abigail down. She turns and says something to the official before the referee calls for the bell. Cassidy then drops down and starts to hammer away on Abigail as the crowd roars. The bell sounds as the official calls for the break.

Abigail rolls over as Cassidy gets up. Abigail starts to get up and Cassidy nails her with a hard right and then grabs her and whips her into the corner. Cassidy runs after and hits a spear in the corner. The crowd ohs. Abigail stumbles back and Cassidy turns and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope and dives forward with a flipping seated senton. The crowd roars.

Abigail kicks out. Cassidy walks to the ropes.

 

Sharper: “Cassidy going for a big pin with a huge move.”

 

Knots: “Maybe trying to knock her out with it. She was looking to land right on her face!”

 

Abigail stirs and Cassidy grabs Abigail and tries to force her down to the mat, but Abigail fights it and rolls through and hits a kick to the face of Cassidy. Cassidy stumbles back to the ropes. Abigail gets up and Cassidy turns around and Abigail nails her with a discus clothesline. Abigail walks forward and stomps Cassidy in the face and then again. Cassidy rolls over. Abigail then grabs Cassidy by the hair and drags her up. She then runs her into the corner. Abigail then knees her in the ribs and then again. She grabs her and whips her across the ring. Cassidy hits the corner. Abigail runs across and Cassidy suddenly pushes out of the corner and clotheslines her down. She hits the mat and rolls over. Cassidy then starts to get up and Abigail pulls herself up and Cassidy gets up and Abigail steps forward and boots her in the face. Cassidy rolls through to the apron and down to the floor.

 

Sharper: “Abigail with another boot. Cassidy down. Abigail may be toying her.”

 

Knots: “Maybe doing her best Ravyn impression. I mean she’s apparently acting like a gatekeeper and now picking up her style. This is what she’d do. Frustrate.”

 

Sharper: “At some point she needs to pick up the win though.”

 

Abigail then turns and starts to head to the ropes, but we then see Kim Williams crawling out from under the ring. She then rolls into the ring. She whistles a bit, holding her hands behind her back, and Abigail sees her on the big screen. Abigail smiles and turns around. Kim just smiles as she looks at Abigail, the crowd cheering.

 

Sharper: “Kim Williams was under the ring?!”

 

Knots: “Guess the crazies all like to hang out there! What does she have in her hand?”

 

Sharper: “Oh my God…that’s a staple gun!”

 

The camera gets a shot of it, Abigail oblivious to it. Abigail then turns and lunges toward Kim. Kim however ducks and spins around. Abigail turns and Kim lunges up and fires the staple gun into the forehead of Abigail. Abigail steps back, holding her forehead and yelling in pain as the referee calls for the bell. Kim steps forward and kicks her in the ribs before tackling her down. She lunges forward and tries to go and staple her again and does. Abigail rolls over, holding her forehead and falling to the floor.

 

Sharper: “My God! Kim stapling Abigail Lindsay!”

 

Knots: “I know she jokes about stabbing but my God!”

 

The bell keeps sounding as Abigail rolls over on the floor near the announce table, blood trickling from her forehead. Abigail pulls at her head and holds it as Kim then smiles, leaning through the ropes.

 

Kim: “Tit for tat! Stabby! Stabby! Stabby!”

 

Abigail backs up as Cassidy then starts to walk around the ring, now with a steel chair in her hand. Abigail looks around and backs up and Cassidy lunges and swings, but Abigail dodges and moves away, gritting her teeth, trying to suck up her pride while looking at Cassidy and Kim. Cassidy storms toward her as she stops and sees Kim in the ring. Abigail holds her forehead, walking around the ring and over to the rampway. She heads over to her motorcycle.

 

Sharper: “Cassidy going after Abigail too!”

 

Knots: “She sees Kim now. Everyone wanting Ravyn, but now everyone wanting Abigail too!”

 

We cut to the back.

Backstage, we see Jack Parker walking backstage, a soda in his hand as he turns the corner, just as he does.

 

???: “Hey!”

 

Jack Parker stops and turns and chuckles.

 

Parker: “You want another ass-kicking.”

 

Donovan Kayl then walks forward and looks at Jack.

 

Kayl: “No…I want your backer! I know that you’re not doing anything for fun.”

 

Parker: “Good luck.”

 

Kayl then grabs Parker and spins him around and sends him into the wall. Parker drops his drink and Parker turns and swings, but Kayl grabs his arm and knees him in the ribs before running him over across the hallway and into the wall. Parker falls over and Kayl leans in and presses his forearm against the throat of Parker.

 

Kayl: “Let’s try that again. I can even make this less painful. Money talks for you guys?”

 

Parker: “Why can’t you just believe it was who usually pays us?”

 

Parker coughs.

 

Kayl: “Because why now? Chris going to take me out, for what? To keep Kennedy focused on her? Sienna doesn’t care for the person who helped train her…So…I’ll give $1000 to spill it. To you personally…”

 

Parker coughs.

 

Parker: “How do you know I’d know?”

 

Kayl: “Because you perked up hearing that number.”

 

Kayl steps back and looks at Parker. Parker coughs.

 

Parker: “TJ.”

 

Kayl: “Johnson?”

 

Parker nods.

 

Sharper: “What?”

 

Kayl looks at him confused.

 

Kayl: “You BSing me?”

 

Parker: “Swear on it.”

 

Parker coughs and starts to get up. Kayl kicks him in the stomach, causing him to fall down again. Kayl then reaches into his pocket and pulls out a wad of cash and throws it on Parker. Kayl then turns and heads off as the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Regan Street at security. Mikaela Street is now with her and Regan is pulled away as Selena Frost walks over to them.

 

Regan: “God damn security.”

 

Mikaela: “They’re avoiding another backstage fight.”

 

Regan: “I’m not going to rip her head off…I’m going to make sure I get my match.”

 

Selena: “I wouldn’t worry there. Everyone knows how much you want that match.”

 

Regan: “Datura too…”

 

Regan turns away.

 

Mikaela: “Talk to James?”

 

Selena: “Angelica won’t let me. It was exactly what we needed.”

 

Regan: “Whatever. You and I can take out Giovanni and Xander. You’ve got Damian tonight. Knock him down. Maybe Glory can-“

 

Selena: “I’m not going to have you fight Giovanni and Xander while Datura is here. The timing isn’t coincidence. She’s making you choose.”

 

Regan paces a bit, clearly annoyed.

 

Mikaela: “She’s right.”

 

Regan snaps.

 

Regan: “Of course she’s right! Of course that son of a bitch comes back when I vow to stand with Selena to take out the Wonderland! Of course when I’m standing on this side of things, standing for something I actually give a damn about, she comes back! She left with NO sign. And then last week.”

 

Regan paces.

 

Selena: “We’ll figure it out.”

 

Mikaela: “I could…”

 

Selena: “Mikaela. You’ve not been in the ring in a long while. I’d say sure if you had been but against Xander and Gio…Maybe I have to go alone.”

 

Regan: “Not on my watch-“

 

Selena: “Regan…you have Datura back. You have the one thing I KNOW you need. It’s not you want to do. I know you want to kick her ass. But I also know you NEED to. I’m not going to fault you for that. Just like I NEED to stand here and go after Xander and Giovanni and the Wonderland. Just like I NEED to stand up for Mr. D and Dean Black and so many others who can’t fight anymore.”

 

Selena pauses and shakes her head.

 

Selena: “We’ll figure it out.”

 

Selena sighs as Regan lets out a frustrated yell as we cut away.

 

Sharper: “Trying to determine how to best figure things out. Looks like some disappointment no matter what.”

 

Knots: “Selena and Regan wanted to take out the Wonderland. James Evans, not interested thanks to Angelica. Datura back. Almost too many asses to kick but now you gotta pick!”

The arena goes dark. A burning Doll House is shown with melting figurines inside it, some hanging in the various rooms of that House. Laughter then can be heard as the chimes of "Blue" by The Birthday Massacre begins to play throughout the arena. The black and white video tron begins to play of a shadowy figure looking into the camera in a grungy feel to the video, a scream is heard as then the face of Rachel Tatum Lee with her eyes widen, smiling while laughing. Suddenly the dark figure known as Rachel Tatum Lee walks out from the back, wearing a t-shirt and jeans, a much warmer look than we were used to. She looks around the arena as the crowd cheers.
 

Sharper: “Brittany Lohan called her out last week, asking for a favour. Now, Rachel Tatum Lee is here in Las Vegas and I think we can safely bet on something.”

 

Knots: “This crowd happy to see her!”

 

She walks down to the ring and reaches the ring. She hops onto the apron and looks out to the crowd. She just a deep breath and smiles before stepping into the ring. She then walks over to the corner and climbs up and looks out at the crowd. She hops down and turns and grabs a microphone waiting for her on the apron. She takes it and walks back over to the middle of the ring. She looks around, the music fades out as the crowd cheers.

 

Rachel: “Damn, it feels good ta be here in this ring.”

 

The crowd cheer some more as Rachel looks around.

 

Rachel: “But I aint just here for a nice visit of the strip, to lose some dollahs and to listen ta this crowd.”

 

Rachel walks around the ring a bit.

 

Rachel: “Last week, a good friend a mine told me that she needed a favour. She talked about how she was, in part, tha reason I’m standin’ right here in front of y’all. And well, she aint wrong. But I figure if I’m gonna be talkin’ about it, I may as well be talkin’ to ya. So Britt…get on out here. Let’s do this proper!”

 

The crowd roars as Rachel turns to the entrance way. Rachel waits a moment.

 

Knots: “Here we go!”

 

"I Am Machine" by Three Days Grace blasts over the loudspeakers as the lights in the arena go out and the fans instantly start to boo heavily when they recognize whose theme song it is. Just a spotlight focuses on the curtains of the entrances the clips once again fades away into the words that read: “Bleeding you is more than just torment.” Brittany Lohan then walks out from the back and looks down at the ring. Rachel smiles a bit as Brittany smirks. Brittany starts to walk to the ring.

 

Sharper: “Brittany Lohan is here. I’ve been told outside of saying hi when Rachel showed up, she wanted her answer in the ring.”

 

Knots: “Yeah. Then again, Brittany wants to be in that mindset. She wants that switch to flip at least once more before she calls it a day.”

 

Sharper: “Brittany convinced Rachel to return. She’s looking for Rachel to help her one last time.”

 

Brittany walks down the rampway before grabbing the middle rope and pulling herself up onto the apron. She looks at Rachel and slowly enters the ring. She then steps forward and looks Rachel right in the eyes. The two remain that way for a moment as the music fades out. The crowd cheers.

 

Rachel: “Britt…”

 

Brittany looks at Rachel.

 

Rachel: “Ya came out here last week and asked me to help ya find the part of ya known as the War Machine. You want yer send off as the War Machine at Rise Ta Greatness.”

 

The crowd roars.

 

Rachel: “Ya realize what yer askin’ fer?”

 

Rachel looks at Lohan. Lohan just calmly nods yes.

 

Rachel: “Do ya want the Rachel Tatum Lee that people used ta fear? Because I’ve not been that person for a long time. The one who nearly ended Syren’s career in tha Thunderdome. The one who needed to be taken down by a flamin’ fist to end my Underground Title reign. The one who would be covered in blood and keep fightin’ because I loved how it felt? Do ya want, sugar, the Violent Kind!”

 

The crowd roars as Rachel and Brittany look at one another. Brittany then grabs the microphone and pulls it forward.

 

Brittany: “I want to be the War Machine one….more….time….And if it needs the Violent Kind to set it off…Then that’s what I want!”

 

The crowd cheers as Rachel looks at Brittany.

 

Rachel: “Then Brittany…buckle up. Because I will find the Violent Kind, I will bring her ta Rise ta Greatness and I will return the favour to you and send you off like you deserve!”

 

The crowd cheers as Brittany and Rachel step forward and stand face to face, both with smiles on their face.

 

Sharper: “The Violent Kind versus the War Machine. Rachel Tatum Lee versus Brittany Lohan at Rise to Greatness XVI!”

 

Knots: “What are we going to get into on this one?!”

 

Sharper: “But they’re smiling. Both smiling.”

 

Knots: “Is it out of joy? Out of sadism? Or out of what they’ll do to one another!”

 

The crowd continues to cheer as “Blue” by the Birthday Massacre plays over the speakers. Rachel and Brittany continue to look at one another smiling. The camera stays on them for a few moments before we cut away.

Breakdown returns as we see Sienna Swann with Chris Cannon. Sienna kisses Chris Cannon backstage. The crowd boos. Chris pulls away.

 

Chris: “Just got to take care of this and hopefully some people start getting the hint.”

 

Sienna: “I’ll be right here watching.”

 

Chris then turns and heads off. He turns down one hallway and Sienna turns back to head into her locker room, but is stopped by Kim Williams.

 

Sienna: “What do you want?”

 

Kim: “We have mutual interests! I figured I’d get to see if you share any of mine!”

 

Sienna: “What are you talking about?”

 

Marie: “Kim!”

 

Sienna turns and looks at them as Marie Jones enters the scene.

 

Sienna: “Get away from me!”

 

Kim: “But I want to see if you enjoy getting stapled in the head if you get involved in my business!”

 

Marie: “Kim!”

 

Marie heads over and Kim fires the staple gun into the air. Sienna scrambles into her room as Kim chuckles.

 

Marie: “You can’t just go around attacking people with a staple gun!”

 

Kim: “Why not? Abigail gets in my way…and I didn’t attack Sienna…just gave her something to think about! Ravyn is ours.”

 

Kim then walks off as Marie watches her leave and then follows too.


“The Old Me” by Memphis May Fire plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. We then see a shot of Chris Cannon vs. Aaron Blackbourne come up on the screen.

 

Sharper: “Sienna finding out how many people want Ravyn! Guess she may want to rethink things. But she’ll be watching Chris! He wants a title match. He’ll have Aaron Blackbourne who wants to teach Chris Cannon some respect. It’s next here on Breakdown in Las Vegas!”

 

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Chris Cannon vs. Aaron Blackbourne

 

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. The tune of “The Nexus” by Amaranthe begins as a distorted speech that can barely be made out plays amidst the beat, but it’s not long before the song kicks into full gear, and when it does red and white lights begin pulsing on the stage as we see that smoke has begun to engulf it. When the lyrics kick in, the Tron comes to life with clips of Aaron Blackbourne in action, both as himself and as his various demon incarnations. When the song hits the chorus, pyro suddenly goes off on the stage in sync with the creative soul himself suddenly shooting up through the smoke and standing tall on the stage, arms raised and outstretched as the fans erupt into cheers.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, from Seattle, Washington, he is Aaron Blackbourne!”

 

The lights start to come back on, albeit dimmed, as Blackbourne begins making his way down to the ring, happily accepting high fives from the fans with a smile. As he reaches ringside he suddenly leaps onto the apron and quickly climbs so that he’s got one foot on the top turnbuckle, and in tune with the chorus kicking in a second time he briefly crosses his arms across his chest before throwing them out in the same raised and outstretched pose as before, white spotlights suddenly coming on and converging on him as he closes his eyes and basks in this moment. When the chorus ends, Blackbourne leaps from the top into the ring, removing his black jacket and setting it into his corner before he begins doing some light warm-ups for the match ahead.

 

Sharper: “Aaron Blackbourne got involved in this situation with the Beauty Factory by showing he had integrity. Chris Cannon threatened to piledrive Owen Cruze and to show how far he’s fallen, Chris that is, Aaron did not take a chance.”

 

Knots: “Given everything Chris has done against Blake, Ikiro, Kennedy, threatening me…he deserves no benefit of the doubt and now Aaron Blackbourne can at least get his hands on Chris and knock some sense into him.”

 

Sharper: “While he continues to avoid Kennedy Street, claiming he’s proven everything he needed to there.”

 

The big screen above the entrance springs into life as the lights darken, the only image we see is that of a glistening perfect world logo. We then hear a woman’s voice that sounds a lot like Kelcey Wallace over the P. A System next as she addresses the arena.

“Ladies and Gentleman, Introducing...”

.CHRIS CANNON.

“Exodus” plays as the crowd boos louder. There’s a sudden pause and then a spotlight shines down onto the stage where we see Chris Cannon, he stands proudly on the stage with an aura of confidence about him.

Phillips: “His opponent, hailing from London, England by way of Hermosa Beach, California, he representing the Beauty Factory, he is Chris Cannon!”

The crowd boos the British superstar as he begins to walk down towards the ring with a confident stride in his step. Cannon stops and turns to look at one fan that is extending a hand which he would slap normally but doesn't as he continues down to the ring. Once at the bottom of the ramp Cannon then slides into the ring and then climbs the nearest turnbuckle and then raises his arm above his head holding a fist as the crowd’s booing continues.

 

Sharper: “Coming out to Kelcey Wallace’s theme.”

 

Knots: “Calling him a douchebag would just be too light for all of this.”

 

Chris smirks as he hops down. He looks across at Aaron Blackbourne. The referee checks him and then Chris before calling for the match to start. The bell sounds. Chris then scoffs before lunging and going for the C4, right off the bat. Aaron leapfrogs over him. The crowd roars. Chris stops and turns and Aaron nails him with a back chop to the throat and then a hard right before kicking him in the ribs. Chris falls back into the corner. The crowd roars as Aaron nails him with a series of hard right hands to the jaw. Chris covers up as Aaron then grabs him and runs him across, but runs with him and sends him chest first into the corner and Aaron turns to the corner before running forward and hitting a jumping calf kick.

 

Sharper: “Aaron Blackbourne following Chris in and then knocking him down before Chris could figure out where he was coming from!”

 

Knots: “Do it again. Keep doing it. I need some popcorn!”

 

Chris gets up an turns and Aaron kicks him in the ribs before double underhooking him and snapping him over with a suplex. He goes for the pin.

Chris kicks out. Chris rolls over and moves to the ropes. He starts to get up and Aaron steps over and Chris kicks him in the ribs. He kicks him again and then steps out and nails him with a hard right, knocking him off his feet. Aaron gets up and Chris grabs him and hooks him up and hits a vertical suplex. Aaron winces and turns. Chris walks over and grabs him and elbows him in the back of the head. Aaron falls over to the corner. Chris walks over and nails him with a hard right and then another before grabbing him and whipping him across the ring. Aaron hits the corner. Chris turns and runs after and Aaron lowers his head at the last moment and lifts Chris up, but Chris spins through and onto the apron. Aaron turns and knees him in the ribs. Chris bends over and Aaron pulls him through the ropes and kicks him in the chest before jumping up to the middle turnbuckle and diving forward with a knee drop to the back of Chris’ head. Aaron moves out of the way as Chris just falls into the ring.

 

Sharper: “Aaron again! Quick thinking. Knee, then a kick and then knee drop to the back of Chris’ head, as he’s hung up on the ropes!”

 

Knots: “Always thinking and that’s bad for Chris. Chris wants to get you frustrated, but Aaron Blackbourne just is looking at what’s in front of him.”

 

Chris rolls over and Aaron pulls him up and then hooks him up and hits a back suplex toward the middle of the ring. He rolls through for the pin.

Chris kicks out. Chris rolls over as Aaron grabs him by the head. He pulls him up and hooks him up for a vertical suplex, but Chris spins through and lands behind Aaron. He pushes Aaron into the ropes and pulls him back with an Okana roll.

Aaron kicks out. Chris falls to the ropes. Aaron gets up and runs at Chris and Chris lifts him up and hip tosses him up and over the top rope. Aaron lands on his feet and rolls to the barricade. (1) Chris looks at him and drags him down to the mat and rolls to the floor. (1) Aaron starts to get up and Chris knees him in the ribs. Aaron leans against the barricade and Chris knees him again. (2)

 

Sharper: “Chris sends Aaron to the floor and Chris is now just teeing off. Knee after knee!”

 

Knots: “Aaron has nowhere to go. At least the barricade is padded!”

 

Sharper: “Small solace as Blackbourne is going from the creative arena of professional wrestling to more of a fight.”

 

Aaron covers up and Chris knees him in the ribs yet again before looking at him and knees him in the side of the head. (3) Aaron falls to the mats. Chris then grabs him and drags him up to his feet. He then runs him into the ring. (4) Chris rolls in. Aaron slowly gets up and Chris walks over and Chris jumps up and hits a leg drop bulldog. The crowd boos. Aaron rolls to his back and Chris goes for the pin.

Aaron kicks out. The crowd cheers. Chris looks up and then grabs him by the hair. Chris then pulls him up to his feet and knees him in the chest. He then whips Aaron into the corner. Chris looks around before running after him. Aaron swivels to the apron. Chris hits the corner hard, chest first. He staggers back and Aaron climbs up to the top rope and dives off with a somersault dive onto Chris Cannon. The crowd cheers.

 

Sharper: “Aaron Blackbourne from the top! A cannonball and right onto Chris!”

 

Knots: “Hey Chris! How does nearly two hundred pounds to the face sound like?!”

 

Aaron rolls over and Chris rolls away. Both get up and Aaron turns into the ropes, bounces off and catches Chris with a discus elbow shot. Chris hits the mat. Aaron drops down for the pin.

Chris gets his shoulder up. Aaron gets up and hits an elbow before getting up and turning to the corner. He exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. Chris however gets up and nails him in the ribs. The crowd ohs. He nails him again and then Chris climbs up to the middle turnbuckle before turning around. He places Aaron on his shoulders before flipping forward and hits the Lion’s Bite. The crowd ohs. Chris rolls through. He turns and goes for the pin, hooking the leg.

 

Sharper: “Lion’s Bite! Off the second rope! Cover!”

Aaron gets his shoulder up. Chris turns and grabs Aaron. He pulls him up and places his head between his legs. He then hoists him up, but Aaron spins through and lands behind Chris. He clubs him in the back and then again before running him into the corner. Chris staggers forward and backs up and Aaron hits a back suplex into a bridge.

Chris rolls his shoulder up. Chris turns and starts to get up and Aaron rolls over and Aaron runs at Chris and jumps up onto his shoulders. He goes for a victory roll, but Chris drops down and covers him.

The crowd boos as Chris rolls back. Aaron rolls over and looks at Chris.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Chris Cannon!”

 

Sharper: “Cannon wins it. Just dropped down as Aaron was going to take him over.”

 

Knots: “And kept him down just long enough. Got the three.”

 

Sharper: “Cannon gets another win here.”

 

Cannon gets up and smiles, having his arm raised.

 

Cannon: “How’s that? Come on and give me what I deserve!”

 

Aaron Blackbourne looks at him. Chris turns to him.

 

Cannon: “The hell are you looking at?”

 

Aaron steps forward as Sienna then starts to walk out from the back. The crowd boos more as Sienna claps. She makes her way to the ring. Chris and Aaron get a bit physical after as the official gets between them. Aaron then drops down and rolls to the floor. He backs up. Chris taunts him as he turns and sees Sienna coming to the ring. Aaron looks on as Sienna walks up the steel steps and then into the ring. Chris smiles as Sienna walks over and the two embrace and kiss in the ring again. The crowd boos.

 

Sharper: “Cannon getting in Blackbourne’s face.”

 

Knots: “Now sucking Sienna’s face!”

 

Sharper: “Celebrating and Aaron Blackbourne not happy about Chris’ actions. Especially since Kennedy Street wants that match against Chris. He is refusing to agree to it.”

 

Knots: “And she’s trying to figure out what to do. It’s eating her up. She tells me all the time. She wants Chris Cannon at Rise to Greatness!”

 

Sharper: “I don’t even know what to suggest. Someone like Chris, he’s just focusing on himself more and more by the day.”

 

Knots: “And Sienna!”

 

Sienna and Chris pull away as Sienna walks over and demands the microphone from Jason Phillips. Phillips hands it to her and Sienna takes it and walks back to the middle of the ring.

 

Sienna: “Everyone better understand what they just saw in this ring.”

 

The crowd boos.

 

Sienna: “They saw one of the best in SCW get another win, and against someone who had every intention of trying to hurt Chris, all over a misunderstanding! Seems to be a trend with him. This is the problem around here and I’m sorry if I am trying to just ensure that everyone doesn’t have the giving spirit I and the Beauty Factory have, working…for the people!”

 

The crowd boos louder as Chris smiles.

 

Sienna: “We are just demanding the respect we should have. Chris Cannon should be done with people whose time has passed like Kennedy Street. He should receive a title shot of some sort. Instead, we have a World Champion who openly flaunts their desire to game the system. Meanwhile, I should be champion right now, and if not, a rematch should have been given immediately. I then had to watch the pettiness of our fake World Champion when she handed Ravyn Taylor my interim championship. I then get harassed and threatened by a mad woman in Kimberly Williams. She should be locked up and SCW should allow the Beauty Factory to take its position at the top. We are taking care of the legends of this sport…making sure Kelcey has the best medical attention and we are looking after her son, Nathaniel. We are giving back to many. We are simply without reproach.”

 

Owen Cruze then starts to walk down to the ring. Sienna however continues. The crowd cheers seeing Owen. Blackbourne starts to head around to stop him.

 

Sienna: “Exactly. I realize this is Las Vegas, a place without a soul, but you must understand what we are trying to do. We are envisioning a world that is beautiful and it should have the champion it can count on and women all around the world look up to….ME!”

 

Owen slides into the ring. Chris turns to him and steps over and Owen shoves him back. The crowd roars as he then grabs the microphone. Sienna tries to hold onto it.

 

Sienna: “What are you doing?!”

 

Owen pulls it away and turns back to Sienna.

 

Owen: “I am so sick and tired of hearing your schtick!”

 

The crowd erupts in cheers.

 

Owen: “You…are NOT a CHAMPION. You are a fraud that is running around wishing you could live up to a woman who is MILES greater than you could ever dream.”

 

Chris steps up and goes to nail Owen as Blackbourne is on the apron at this point. Sienna can be seen stopping Chris.

 

Sienna: “Let him. He’s been through a lot. Perhaps we can help him.”

 

Owen: “There is no way you two could EVER help me. I don’t need help from someone who only cares about the PR and someone who had proven they only give a damn about themselves. You are getting the respect you deserve right now. You aren’t a champion because you simply aren’t. I can stand here and talk about how you beat me at April. How you outwrestled me. And that’s true. But did you walk out a champion…so help me God, hell no! You walked out the same pretentious spotlight grabbing fraud you always were and you added Chris Cannon!”

 

Owen steps forward to Sienna and Chris.

 

Owen: “It’s pretty damn sad when at nineteen years old, I’m more a man than you Chris. And I’m more of a human being than you ever could dream of. And trust me, I’m not going to sit in the back and let you run Kelcey’s name for your God damned PR. If you cared about her, you’d not be using it to control who sees her. You’d not be mentioning her name every GOD DAMNED second. You’d be a decent human being…something neither of you could be.”

 

Owen steps back.

 

Owen: “You want respect. Act like you friggin’ deserve it…Then again, that would mean you need to stop running!”

 

Chris steps forward and grabs Owen. Owen and Chris jostle a bit as the crowd roars. Blackbourne runs into the ring and grabs Owen.

 

Sharper: “Owen dropping truth bombs on Chris and Sienna! He’s never been this blunt!”

 

Knots: “Clearly the time away, the personal issues greatly affecting him-“

 

Sharper: “Oh! Come on!”

 

Blackbourne gets Owen back, but Sienna takes the moment to lunge and nails Owen in the jaw with the Kiss of an Angel. Owen falls back and to the ropes, Blackbourne holding him enough to prevent him from falling. Sienna then dusts off her knee before grabbing the microphone.

 

Sienna: “Looks like someone just reminded the world they’re still more kid than man, no matter what he says. When you stop your tantrum, maybe we’ll let you see Kelcey. But you just seem to be the one in this ring who’s letting her down.”

 

The crowd boos as Sienna motions to Chris. Chris and Sienna exit the ring as Owen turns as Blackbourne checks on him.

 

Sharper: “Come on…Sienna Swann taking a cheap shot and a parting shot.”

 

Knots: “That’s what happens when you think you’re better than everyone. You do anything to keep that up.”

 

Sharper: “Kelcey Wallace is not ashamed of that man right there. He stood up for what he believed in. Chris and Sienna may care about Kelcey and Chris’ newborn son, but this…this is too much!”

 

Sienna and Chris head to the back as Owen starts to recover in the ring, pulling himself up and falling to the ropes, glaring at them as we cut away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns and we open up to see Jessica Winters at the SCW interview area. With her is Kandis and Tommy Valentine.

 

Jessica: “Welcome back to Breakdown. A wild scene before the commercial break. Owen Cruze having enough of Sienna Swann’s remarks and attitude and fortunately, officials able to break it up, but I am here with Kandis and Tommy Valentine who will challenge for the SCW World Tag Team Championship next week, here on Breakdown.”

 

Tommy: “Talk about chaos out there. How about chaos after we win the titles? And I’m not talking about the roster reaction. I’m talking about how the hotel room will look.”

 

Kandis chuckles.

 

Tommy: “See, we have a bit of a connection and well, with my background in tag wrestling and Kandis’ abilities, the fact is that we’re looking forward to next week. James Evans wants to control himself. Well, sorry, but we’re going to make it a bit hard for you to be anything but angry when the Jackass and Big Ass Connection take your titles. The Trueloves…they tried. We get it. Bree and Andrew. Great. No one has anything like us.”

 

Kandis: “It’s because they couldn’t handle it if they did. The fact is that I have a chance to win SCW gold…again. I’m not going to let another chance slip through my fingers. Third times they charm. No…it’s just that Redemption has had a good run but its time for a new type of team, a new type of relationship…a new type of wrestler to stand tall and with Tommy in my corner, we’ll not only be standing tall, but we’ll make sure the world hears about just how good we were.”

 

Jessica: “Thank you for your time. Back to ringside.”

 

Kandis smirks as Tommy looks on and we cut to the ring.

Selena Frost vs. Damian Angel


"BELIEVE IT!"

At the sound of the familiar call, the true-believers are immediately on their feet in cheers as "The Truth About Our Time" by Allen/Lande brings forth a barrage purple-blue lights in the design of snowflakes across the arena. From the back, out walks The Snow Queen, herself, Selena Frost. With a twirl amongst the lights and snowflakes, Frost slowly strolls down the ramp, her platinum-white hair in a long-braid swishing this way and that as the lights bounce off the ice-shard cape she wears. 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, from Nome, Alaska, she is the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

Looking around the arena, Selena smiles at the voice of her true-believers before sliding into the ring. Inside, the Winter Diamond is quickly on her feet, stepping into the center of the ring as all the snowflake-lights rush to form a large blue-white snowflake-shaped light over Selena. Raising her arms, the Defier of Worlds looks up at the lights before they return to normal. With a smile, Selena removes her ice-shard cape, folding it and placing it aside before returning her attention to the ring.

 

Sharper: “Selena Frost has been busy tonight, but she needs to focus. This is a match that represents what she wants.”

 

Knots: “The Wonderland, those affiliated. All of that desire to get her hands on Giovanni, on Damian, on Xander…it starts here!”

 

The opening lines of The Rasmus' "Lucifer's Angel" begin to play over the crowd suddenly, without the introduction of the song...

Behind those eyes lies the truth and grief

During that verse, Damian Angel steps out onto the top of the ramp , inciting boos from the crowd. He looks at the crowd. In the slight pause between the verse and the chorus, the lights in the arena all turn off, leaving the sight of pitch black. As the chorus strikes up, a red spotlight begins to follow Angel to the ring.

 

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Hell, Michigan, he is the Devil Himself, Damian Angel!”

During the chorus, he begin their approach to the ring. By the end of the chorus, Angel has rolled toward the centre of the ring, pulling himself to one knee. Damian runs his hand over the canvas before pounding his right fist down upon the SCW logo, immediately springing to his feet thereafter. Damian unfastens the clasps of his rope, letting it drop down to the mat behind him. He glares out over the crowd. Angel climbs onto the middle rope and outstretches his arms, bringing them together in an 'X' formation as he looks down towards the pits of hell. He repeats this process on the other three sides of the ring, and after the last one he hops off the turnbuckle. He then turns as Selena and Damian Angel look at one another, face to face.

 

Sharper: “Face to face! Damian Angel and Selena Frost!”

 

Knots: “Damian already trying to get into her head!”

 

Sharper: “She needs to be careful. Giovanni may be in action later, but he’s here. Same with Xander.”

 

Knots: “Same with Konrad Raab!”

 

The bell sounds. Damian smirks and Selena nails him with a forearm. The crowd cheers and Selena nails him with another forearm and then another. She then kicks him in the ribs and Damian falls through the ropes to the floor. Damian backs up. (1) Selena steps through and goes down to the floor. Damian rolls back in. (1) Selena turns and rolls back in. Damian stomps her in the back and then again and again. The crowd boos. He grabs Selena and pulls her up and runs her over into the corner. Selena turns. Damian chops her. The crowd woos. He chops her again. More woos. He then whips her across and Damian runs after. Selena jumps up and floats over. Damian stops at the corner before dropping down and rolling to the floor. Selena lunges, but Damian backs up and looks at Selena, smirking. (1)

 

Sharper: “Selena Frost counters, but Damian immediately to the floor.”

 

Knots: “Selena. Be careful. He already got you once in this match!”

 

Sharper: “Damian Angel goading her now!”

 

Damian watches her. (2) Selena looks around before dropping down to the floor. (3) Damian steps around the ring. He smirks as Selena follows and Damian slides into the ring. (4) he gets up. Selena goes to slide in, but slides back out, as Damian stomps at where she would’ve been. (5) Selena then grabs Damian and pulls him down by the leg and down to the floor. (1) Selena then hits a hard forearm to the jaw. Damian falls to the steel steps. (2) Selena grabs him and runs him face first into the steel steps. (3) Damian rolls into the ring. Selena slides in after. Damian starts to get up and Selena runs at him and hits a flying clothesline. She goes for the pin.

Damian kicks out. Damian turns and grabs at the ropes as Selena gets up. Damian pulls himself to his feet and Selena kicks him in the ribs and then again and again. The referee moves in calling for the break. Selena however keeping kicking him over and over and over before getting forced back. She walks around the ring as the crowd cheers.

 

Sharper: “Selena not holding up. She needs to be careful. She may be disqualified here.”

 

Knots: “She may not care. She wants to extract some punishment after everything the Wonderland has done as of late!”

 

Sharper: “Selena showing more aggressiveness again. She’s sick of the antics of Xander, of Giovanni, of Damian!”

 

Selena turns back and Damian reaches up and rakes her eyes. The crowd boos. Selena falls back to the ropes. Damian steps forward and kicks her in the ribs and then whips her into the ropes. Selena bounces off and Damian hits a back elbow. The crowd boos. Selena rolls over and gets up and Damian walks over after her and pushes her into the corner and starts to choke Selena in the corner.

Damian steps back and smirks. Selena coughs a bit before she steps forward and Damian pulls her in and scoops her up with a snap sidewalk slam. He turns and follows up with a pin.

Selena kicks out. She rolls over and Damian grabs Selena and pulls her up by the hair and runs her over into the top turnbuckle of the nearby corner.

 

Sharper: “Damian is slowing this down all for his ability to methodically dissect Selena!”

 

Knots: “Won him a World Title doing that.”

 

Sharper: “And Damian Angel is the most dangerous man in wrestling when he wants to be. It’s why so many people respect his capabilities!”

 

Knots: “And fear how he uses them!”

 

Damian nails Selena with a throat thrust. Selena coughs a bit as Damian then kicks her in the ribs, pulls her out and hits a snap suplex. He then gets up and runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a powerdrive elbow. He goes for another pin.

Selena gets her shoulder up again. She turns and starts to get up and Damian grabs her arm and wrenches it, pulling it up. He looks at her and strikes her in the shoulder before rearing back and doing it again. She then whips her into the ropes. Selena bounces off. Damian goes for a clothesline. Selena ducks and jumps to the top rope before diving back and hitting the Cold Shoulder!

 

Sharper: “Selena with the shoulder tackle. Off the ropes and taking down the Devil!”

 

Knots: “She’s not going to quit. So many people will tell you that. It’s endearing or annoying depending on your outlook!”

 

Damian gets up and Selena hits a straight kick to his ribs. Damian winces and falls to a knee. Selena runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a swinging neckbreaker. She goes for the pin.

Damian gets his shoulder up. He rolls over as Selena gets up. She then looks at him before exiting to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope. Damian starts to get up and Selena dives off with a missile dropkick to the chest of Damian. Damian hits the mat. Selena crawls over and hooks the leg.

Damian kicks out again. Selena turns and starts to get up and Damian stirs. Selena walks over and grabs him and Damian hits a sweep to the shins of Selena. Selena hits the mat face first. She starts to get up and Damian turns and kicks her hard in the ribs. Selena rolls over in pain, yelling out a bit.

 

Sharper: “To the ribs! A kick to the ribs. And clearly trying to see how tender Selena is from the scaffold match!”

 

Knots: “Even still. Hurts like hell!”

 

Sharper: “No doubt about it and Damian Angel knowing what it could do.”

 

Selena grabs at the ropes and Damian walks over to her and clubs her in the back. Selena falls to the ropes. Damian spins Selena around and nails her with a throat thrust. Selena falls over to the corner. Damian walks over and kicks her in the ribs. He then grabs her arm and wrenches it and whips her across. Damian then turns and runs after Selena and nails her with a clothesline. Selena winces and Damian looks at her and places her on the top rope. Damian nails her with a hard right and then another before climbing up to the middle rope. He grabs Selena and hooks her up. Selena however nails him in the ribs and then again and again before pushing him off. Damian hits the mat. He rolls over and Selena stands up to the top rope as Damian gets up and Selena flips forward and hits the Alaskan Dragonrana.

The crowd roars. Selena falls forward and Damian rolls over.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Selena Frost!”

 

Sharper: “Selena Frost with the dragonrana and pinning Damian Angel!”

 

Knots: “The impact driving him into the mat and hooking the legs. Big win and shot across the bow against the Wonderland!”

 

Sharper: “Got Damian! Now coming for Giovanni and Xander!”

 

Selena turns and looks at Damian. Damian moves to the ropes. Selena gets up and has her arm raised. Selena glances back at Damian as Damian slides to the floor. He looks at Selena. Selena watches him. Damian winces a bit as he heads around the ring. Selena keeps watching him as he makes his way around.

 

Sharper: “Not removing her eyes from Damian.”

 

Knots: “He’s just leaving. I’m stunned by that.”

 

Sharper: “Selena seems to be too.”

Backstage, we see Katie Steward talking to TJ Johnson.

 

Katie: “I may not be champion, but I’ll be damned if I let the Katie Steward Show drift into those bad lull years. This is the time for it to thrive again. People need me to give them hope.”

 

TJ: “Well don’t worry. We’ve made sure that people have something to look forward to. I followed exactly what you wanted.”

 

Katie: “So you used the money?”

 

TJ: “Didn’t you see?”

 

Katie: “Please. I’m a director, a visionary, an artist. I don’t need to watch my work after. Even if I gave it to my assistant director.”

 

TJ looks around a bit unsure.

 

TJ: “Well it went well and no one will ever know-“

 

Kayl: “TJ! Looks like we need to talk! You want to take me out!”

 

Katie: “Oh dear, prima donna actors.”

 

TJ: “Just go, I’ll take care of this!”

 

Katie turns and Kayl heads down the hallway.

 

Kayl: “So it was her idea? You’re playing games with my career!”

 

TJ: “No…No! Not at all! Ahhhh!”

 

Kayl walks over and grabs TJ by his collar.

 

TJ: “Katie took it upon herself to craft a masterpiece. Yeah!”

 

Kayl: “My retirement…and you have the Network attack me.”

 

TJ: “Put you in peril. Tells a great story! Sports entertainment!”

 

Kayl pushes TJ back.

 

Kayl: “You want a great story. I want Katie Steward next week. Tell your boss that the Cornerstone of Professional Wrestling is going to remind her what this SPORT is about.”

 

Kayl then turns and storms off as the crowd roars. The scene fades to black.

Jordan Majors vs. Peyton Rice

SCW Television Championship

 

The lights go down and flash purple as "7 Rings" by Arianna Grande starts to play. When the lyrics start, Jordan walks slowly out on the stage with a bedazzled trenchcoat dragging along the ground behind her as two bodyguards follow behind her. She smirks when the beat drops and starts to walk down the ramp ignoring anything the fans around her say.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall, has a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television Championship! First, the challenger, accompanied by her bodyguards, from Chicago, Illinois, she is Jordan Majors!”

 

She stops down at the bottom of the ramp and puts her arms out as the bodyguards remove the coast and start back up the ramp. Jordan saunters around the ring to the steps and slowly makes her way up as the house lights come back on. She climbs under the ropes and steps up onto the turnbuckle and rubs her fingers together as she looks out at the crowd. She taps her chest as she yells that she gets what she wants.

 

Sharper: “Jordan Majors will be a tough challenge for Peyton Rice, the new Television Champion, here on Breakdown. Add the bodyguards, but also her attitude, Rice may be the antithesis.”

 

Knots: “You never know what Jordan Majors may do. Then again, she made a great donation to her own charity for Cookie hosting Taking Hold of the Flame. Such altruism!”

 

The arena goes dark before a lone spotlight shines on the entrance. Suddenly the opening beats to “All The Days" by Mammoth play throughout the arena as Peyton Rice walks out in wrestling gear and jacket, her long dark blonde hair hanging down. The SCW Television Championship is around her waist. She looks around at the crowd before getting to one knee and making a line across the entrance. She crosses her arms and lowers her head for a moment before standing up and pointing to the ring as the crowd roars.

 

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Glendale, Arizona, she is the SCW Television Champion, Not Just a Pretty Face, Peyton Rice!”
 
With her gorgeous and contagious smile, Peyton starts to walk to the ring, stopping and pulling off some high fiving the fans and taking selfies with them. She continues to head to the ring soaking up the reaction before hopping into the apron and pointing the crowd before flipping over the top rope as the crowd roars and stepping on the second rope, raising her arms and looking up. The crowd roars as she flips from the second rope on to her feet and does a cartwheel. She takes off her jacket and ruffles her hair a little, standing in the corner and awaiting for the match to begin. The referee takes the SCW Television Championship and sets back and goes to raise it over his head. Majors meanwhile walks over to Phillips and asks for the microphone as the SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen and fades to the bottom corner.

 

Sharper: “Peyton Rice won the TV Title last week against Katie Steward. Earning the title in a hard fought match.”

 

Knots: “Even had Alistaire Allocco congratulate her awkwardly. Gotta love it.”

 

Sharper: “And Jordan Majors has a microphone…”

 

Jordan turns to Peyton.

 

Majors: “Peyton! Congratulations on becoming the SCW Television Champion last week. It’s a great accomplishment. Now what some people may not realize is that there’s an additional bit of money and with everything going on, you probably want to focus on your personal life, maybe seeing if Alistaire Allocco is true love or not. Whatever. But I can make it worth your while. See, I want to become the TV Champion. Now, I could beat you for it, but why waste time for both of us. So…”

 

Peyton looks at Jordan, annoyed.

 

Majors: “I will pay you one hundred thousand dollars to forfeit this match and the SCW Television Championship tonight.”

 

Knots: “That’s the equivalent of four months of holding the title. That’s the champion’s bonus. The monthly bonus!”

 

Majors: “What do you say?”

 

Majors extends the microphone as the crowd boos some as Peyton looks around. Jordan holds her hand out too. Peyton takes the microphone and looks at her. Jordan says something to her before Peyton looks around.

 

Peyton: “I could do a lot with that money…but….no…I’m not going to let someone else hold a title in this company when they don’t deserve it. You want to be champion, you can beat me! Ring the bell!”

 

The crowd cheers as Peyton puts the microphone down. Jordan just glares at her and steps back. The bell sounds and Peyton and Jordan circle the ring before Jordan lunges and misses a spinning back kick. Peyton ducks and spins around. Jordan turns and Peyton hits a headlock takedown. Jordan goes to wrap her legs around Peyton’s head, but she moves her head and Jordan drops down. She rolls over and gets to her knees and starts to get up and Peyton holds on. Jordan pulls her into the ropes and fires her off. Peyton bounces off and Jordan steps up and Peyton shoulders her down. Jordan rolls over and gets up and Peyton hits a dropkick. Jordan hits the mat and Peyton goes for the pin.

Jordan kicks out. Both women get up and Peyton chops her. The crowd woos. She then whips Jordan across the ring and Peyton runs across and does a handspring into a back elbow, but Jordan ducks and spins around. Peyton hits the corner and Jordan blasts her with a European uppercut. Peyton falls over and down to the mat.

 

Sharper: “Huge uppercut as Peyton missed the back elbow!”

 

Knots: “And Peyton could be out. Jordan got all of it!”

 

Peyton rolls over and gets up and Jordan hits a shoot kick to the chest and Peyton falls into the ropes. Jordan whips her across. Peyton bounces off and Jordan hits a lunging European uppercut, knocking her down. She goes for the pin.

Peyton kicks out. Both women get up and Jordan kicks her in the ribs and forearms her before pulling her out and hooking her head. She goes for a vertical suplex, but Peyton counters with a knee to a face. She lands back on her feet and Peyton then hits a northern lights suplex into a bridge.

Jordan kicks out. Peyton rolls over and gets up and Jordan turns and Peyton jumps up and hits a frankensteiner. Jordan rolls through and gets up and moves to the corner.

 

Sharper: “Fast paced action here for the TV Championship here on Breakdown!”

 

Knots: “And Peyton’s not holding back at all! Jordan wants to be champion. Going to need more than money. Maybe another European uppercut though!”

 

Peyton kicks her in the ribs and whips her across. Jordan hits the opposite corner and staggers out as Peyton urns after and hits a running dropkick. The crowd ohs. Jordan rolls over and Peyton grabs her arm, twists around and hooks her in a La Magistral cradle.

Jordan kicks out. Both women get up and Peyton goes for a clothesline, but Jordan ducks and hooks Peyton and hits a German suplex into a bridge!

Peyton rolls her shoulder up and rolls over. She starts to get up and Jordan scoops her up and slams her down. Jordan exits to the apron and then climbs up to the top rope. Peyton gets up though and runs over to the corner, climbing up to the top rope. The crowd roars, but Jordan blocks her and hits a European uppercut. Peyton loses her footing and drops down and falls back. She sits up, trying to get back up and Jordan jumps forward and hits a double foot stomp to Peyton’s chest. The crowd ohs and Jordan rolls through. Peyton just drops to the mat. Jordan drags her out and hooks the leg.

 

Sharper: “Jordan with the double foot stomp!”

 

Knots: “Cave in her chest why don’t you. Could’ve taken the money to avoid that! Geez!”

 

Sharper: “New champion, maybe?!”

Peyton gets her shoulder up. The crowd roars. Jordan looks up and snaps at the official. She then grabs Peyton and pulls her up before hooking her up by the head and hoisting her up and hitting a falcon arrow. She rolls back as Peyton remains down. Jordan exits to the apron and then climbs up to the top rope. Peyton drops down and Jordan steadies herself. She goes for a frog splash, but Peyton rolls out of the way. Jordan hits hard. She staggers up and gets up and Peyton gets up behind her, pulling her back and hitting the Canyon Roll. The crowd cheers. Peyton turns and hooks the leg.

Jordan gets her shoulder up.

 

Sharper: “Only a two! Jordan spun out by Rice, but Jordan kicking out!”

 

Knots: “She wants that title. She was willing to buy it. She’s willing to fight for it too!”

 

Sharper: “As is Peyton and the gears turning again as she figures out how to put her away here in Las Vegas!”

 

Jordan rolls over and Peyton runs into the ropes and Peyton hits a spinning heel kick. She turns and exits to the apron before climbing up to the top rope. She then looks at Jordan before diving off and hitting the Pretty Girl Drop. The crowd roars. Peyton hooks the leg.

The crowd cheers. Peyton rolls off and gets up, the referee raising her arm.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and still, SCW Television Champion, Peyton Rice!”

 

Peyton celebrates a bit as the official is handed the SCW TV Championship and turns, handing it to her. Peyton holds it over her head as Jordan’s bodyguards pull Jordan out of the ring. Peyton plays to the crowd.

 

Sharper: “Peyton Rice, the smile still there. Successful in her first defense.”

 

Knots: “Maybe Adam Allocco’s hope that Alistaire and Peyton can be champions together lives on!”

 

The camera focuses on Peyton for a moment longer before we cut away.

Backstage we see Damian Angel walking backstage and we then see Konrad Raab walking up to him, wearing his multi-coloured mask. The crowd roars and then boos seeing him. Damian just smiles.

 

Damian: “Your eyes opening…”

 

Konrad: “Yes…”

 

Konrad smiles.

 

Damian: “You gave them a taste at Taking Hold of the Flame. Had a fight, but flamed out.”

 

Konrad: “I was calm…but under the surface, boiling. Wanting to burst.”

 

Damian: “Good. Now…you can control it and be effective. You can destroy. So do you want to destroy?”

 

Konrad just pauses and turns to Damian.

 

Konrad: “Depends what.”

 

Damian: “That’s a start. Come.”

 

Damian motions to Konrad and Konrad turns and follows him as we hear a roar from the crowd. The camera focuses on them for a moment before we cut away.

The scene cuts to the stage to see Sasha, with a microphone, on the stage with Glory Braddock standing next to her. The crowd starts to make noise, some cheering, putting together what may be going on.

 

Sharper: “Wait a minute. On the stage.”

 

Knots: “It’s boss time!”

 

Sharper: “Really?”

 

Knots: “Glorious?”

 

Sharper: “Why is Sasha out here with Glory Braddock…Braddock is a Trios Tournament contract holder!”

 

Knots: “Something with Casterillo? He wants to face her. She wouldn’t need to use it there!”

 

Sasha brings the microphone up to her mouth.

 

Sasha: “Ladies and gentlemen, we have some news to pass along.”

 

The crowd cheers some more.

 

Sasha: “I have just gotten off the phone with the board of directors who held an emergency session to allow for Glory Braddock’s Trios Tournament contract to be used.”

 

The crowd cheers some more.

 

Knots: “Looks like it!”

 

Sasha: “Glory…the floor is yours.”

 

Sasha turns and hands the microphone to Glory Braddock. Glory looks around. She smirks as the cheers continue.

 

Glory: “Last week, I heard someone ramble on about themselves. I heard another specifically talk to me. That latter person, I listened, I laughed, and they made me realize something. I call myself the Best in the World. I’m one of many around SCW. So Casterillo, thank you. Because you made me realize something.”

 

Glory pauses for a moment as the crowd boos some.

 

Glory: “But earlier tonight, I knew I made the right decision when I saw Alistaire Allocco claim that he can face Syren and whatever her minions cook up and will try to defeat it all. That’s not striving for greatness…that’s foolishness. And as someone who was raised to appreciate the rules and traditions of this sport, written or unwritten, I can’t let someone as naïve as Alistaire be our hope when I am standing right here. So at Rise to Greatness, Syren will defend her SCW World Championship against Alistaire Allocco….and ME!”

 

The crowd cheers as Glory brings the microphone down. She smiles into the camera.

 

Sharper: “Glory Braddock is cashing in her Trios contract to challenge Syren.”

 

Knots: “And apparently make sure Syren doesn’t walk out champion!”

 

Sharper: “The main event of Rise to Greatness XVI just took a quick turn!”

 

The crowd continues to cheer as Glory looks around before turning and heading to the back.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns with a wide shot of the crowd in the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas Nevada.

 

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown and stunning news moments ago.”

 

REPLAY:

We see Glory Braddock standing on the stage.

 

Glory: “And as someone who was raised to appreciate the rules and traditions of this sport, written or unwritten, I can’t let someone as naïve as Alistaire be our hope when I am standing right here. So at Rise to Greatness, Syren will defend her SCW World Championship against Alistaire Allocco….and ME!”

 

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

 

We cut to ringside to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots.

 

Sharper: “And we are hoping to get some response from Syren or Alistaire Allocco before we call it a night tonight, but talk about a gamechanger.”

 

Knots: “There’s a couple of questions. Did Glory reveal everything? It’s now triple threat. That means everything is allowed. Maybe Glory thinks her experience is a big difference. She seemed to say Alistaire isn’t ready for it. Or is too naïve.”

 

Sharper: “Certainly a shot against Allocco. But also she thanked Casterillo. Clearly taking a shot at him as he certainly will have something to say. Not just that, but this harkens to Syren cashing in her Trios contract a few years ago at Rise to Greantess.”

 

Knots: “It’s a gamechanger. You said it.”

 

Sharper: “Meanwhile, as everyone is watching Rise to Greatness weekend, the big show is just part of the festivities and that weekend, we’ll also be inducting some new members to the SCW Hall of Fame. And for that reason, we wonder if Syren may have a lot on her mind.”

 

The SCW Hall of Fame logo comes up on the screen.

The scene opens up with a shot of Syren stepping out from the back and looking out at the crowd at Apocalypse 2009. This is followed by a shot of Syren hitting the Blondeton Bomb on Taylor Summers. The crowd ohs and we see Syren getting up as “Groupie” starts to play in the background of the video.

 

Syren: “I am the Best Women’s Wrestler in the WORLD today!”

 

We then cut to see shots of Syren holding the SCW Women’s Championship before showing her hitting the Total Makeover on Jake Starr, David Helms, CHBK and Taylor Summers. This is followed by shots of her stepping into the ring and shaking her ass before high-fiving Ravyn Taylor in the ring and then showing her celebrating, while holding the SCW World Tag Team Championship. This is followed by a shot of Syren and Ravyn Taylor standing with Lucas Knight backstage. We then see Syren at Under Attack 2010 backstage with Jessica Winters.

 

Syren: “Like so totally. And I just have to say, be totally jealous. We’re going to show why WE’RE the best!”

 

This is followed by shots of Syren holding the SCW World Championship. As we see shots of her celebrating each of her wins, including one rolling off of Shaun Cruze at Rise to Greatness 2014 and another showing her pinning Amy Chastaine in 2016.

 

Syren: “So keep booing. All that does is make me want to shove this down your throats more. All this makes me want to keep holding onto these tag belts too. I want the world to see just how good WE are. It’s amazing how many things turn around. We get a chance. And we take it to the bank. That’s what we always did. And now I am your World Champion! I’ll so not get tired of saying that!”

 

We see shots of Syren and Ravyn Taylor hugging in the ring before showing a shot of Syren standing on the stage at Rise to Greatness with the silhouettes of her outline on the big screens behind her. We see Syren hitting the Total Makeover on Shilo Valiant, followed by the Blondeton Bomb on Thirteen before showing Syren having her arms raised by CHBK and Ravyn Taylor in the ring before the scene slows down. The SCW Hall of Fame logo comes up on the screen.

The crowd boos as the Hall of Fame logo remains up as “Hall of Fame” by the Script featuring will.i.am plays in the background. Syren then appears on the screen.

 

Sharper: “If you go by the statistics, you put aside the attitude and the recent events, you cannot deny that she has earned this spot.”

 

Knots: “Seven time World Champion. Longest reigning Tag Team and Women’s Champion…I hate to say it, but she should be there.”

 

Sharper: “And this year in the SCW Hall of Fame Class of 2019, she will be enshrined.”

 

Knots: “And a lot going through her head…her plans for Rise to Greatness just got changed and she’s also going into the Hall!”

 

The image remains on the screen for a few moments longer as the crowd continues to boo. The lights then return up in the arena and we see Datura sitting in the middle of the ring, cross-legged. The crowd erupts in a roar of sound.

 

Sharper: “Look in the ring! It’s Datura!”

 

Knots: “If Regan’s watching a monitor…”

 

Datura looks around as the crowd continues to make noise. Datura has a microphone in her hand and looks at the entrance way.

 

Datura: “One noted rival entering the Hall of Fame.”

 

Datura pauses, letting her words ring throughout the arena.

 

Datura: “One noted rival now a stronger ally.”

 

Datura smiles slightly.

 

Datura: “One noted rival sitting in the ring.”

 

The crowd cheers. Datura brings the microphone down, saying nothing more and just now placing her hands on her knees. She remains looking at the entrance way before we hear the sound of a Hellcat scratching through a screen and then “What’s Next” by Porcelain Black plays throughout the arena and the crowd starts to cheer. A few moments pass before Regan Street steps out from the back, holding the SCW Adrenaline Championship in her hand. Mikaela Street is out with her, trying to calm her down, but Regan just continues to look at the ring. She then starts to march to the ring. Datura watching her, not moving.

 

Sharper: “Regan Street walking to the ring with purpose.”

 

Knots: “Datura not saying much, but saying exactly what she had to. Mikaela, you’re not going to get through to Regan!”

 

Sharper: “But what’s she going to do when she makes it to the ring. Is she going to attack her? Datura’s not moving!”

 

Regan Street heads to the ring and slides in. She then looks at Datura who remains cross-legged, sitting tall and looking right at Regan. Regan just looks at Datura. She then walks around the ring, keeping her eyes on Datura. Datura turns her head, following Regan. Regan then stops and paces in the opposite direction. Mikaela hops onto the apron. Regan ignores her and stops, having completed her half circle around the ring and keeping her eyes on Datura. Regan then looks at the SCW Adrenaline Championship over her shoulder and then to Datura before lifting it up and laying it across in front of her. Regan then drops down and kneels across from Datura, looking right into her eyes. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: “Regan has said for months that she was not going to give up that title no matter what. She was going to give Datura a shot if she showed up.”

 

Knots: “It’s the fruits of everything Datura set off when she beat her and left!”

 

Datura just smiles and slowly gets up and looks at Regan. The two say nothing. Regan and Datura remain with their eyes locked on one another. Datura then slowly leaves the ring and steps through the ropes and to the floor. Regan can be seen seething, almost shaking, trying to hold in whatever she wants to do to Datura. Datura then just calmly walks to the back. The crowd boos some as Datura closes her eyes, listening to the crowd. Regan then turns and looks at her.

 

Sharper: “She’s just walking away.”

 

Knots: “And the game continues.”

 

Sharper: “Regan Street is trying to hold it all together. She wants to explode. And I think Datura knows that!”

 

Datura continues to walk to the back as Regan glances over her shoulder at her. Mikaela grabs the SCW Adrenaline Championship as we cut away.

We open up backstage to see Owen Cruze pacing backstage. The camera pans out to see Aaron Blackbourne, Trinity Street and Kennedy Street.

 

Trinity: “Love. You need to stop pacing. You’ll wear out the concrete.”

 

Kennedy: “I fully get it. I want Chris. I want this all to change. I want…”

 

Owen: “No offense…but I’m not looking to feel better right now.”

 

Aaron looks at Owen.

 

Kennedy: “What happened?”

 

Owen pauses and says nothing.

 

Owen: “I grew up. And I’m no longer just happy to be here. I need to walk.”

 

Owen turns and heads off as Kennedy and Trinity watch him leave. Aaron nods as he heads off after his friend. Trinity turns to Kennedy.

 

Trinity: “Maybe he’ll get him-“

 

Kennedy: “No…I refuse to give up. I refuse to give up when they’re acting like their crap doesn’t smell. I now know exactly what everything thought of me back in the day. But….I will face Chris Cannon.”

 

Trinity: “I understand. Streets don’t take kindly to not getting what they want. Sasha may still sign it-“

 

Kennedy: “No. I want something where he’s not going to run and no matter what, it’s final. No mercy…no flukes. I beat him…or he beats me. I need to offer him something.”

 

Trinity: “What then? I still think Sasha will agree.”

 

Kennedy: “I know!”

 

Trinity: “Then what…”

 

Kennedy looks down.

 

Kennedy: “I should’ve beat him both times before. The only reason this match should happen is because I want it. My pride. Sasha’s new. I know she’d give it. I know Mr. D would have. But I’m not going to put her there. I’m not going to put her in the situation where she’s clearly doing me a favour. That’s the Beauty Factory’s world…I want her to succeed. SCW needs it after everything this year so far.”

 

Kennedy sighs.

 

Kennedy: “I have to do some thinking.”

 

Kennedy walks off as Trinity watches Kennedy leave and we cut away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns and we see Jake Starr standing backstage with a binder. He looks around and then looks up and points before looking at the binder and flipping through it. He then looks up as we see Zero walking over to him and leaning over his shoulder.

 

Jake: “Uh…can I help you?”

 

Zero: “Dude, what’s with the book?”

 

Jake: “Oh this…”

 

Jake turns and holds it up. It has the SCW logo on it and “names and faces.”

 

Jake: “I’ve been out of the loop for a bit. Just figured I’d brush up on the roster. See who’s around. See whether I need to look out for anyone. Plus, I’m returning to the ring next week on Breakdown.”

 

Zero: “Ah…investigating…that’s not shady at all…”

 

Jake turns to him.

 

Jake: “You got a problem.”

 

Zero: “Oh no no no! Just…looking for….stuff. Yeah. Stuff.”

 

Jake: “Like…”

 

Jake sniffs.

 

Jake: “Stuff?”

 

Zero: “You have some?!”

 

Jake: “No, you idiot. Just you’re the shady one now. Who are you? I don’t have you in my book.”

 

Jake flips through.

 

Zero: “How am I not in your book?!”

 

Jake: “Ask Sven from HR. He sent it.”

 

Zero: “Those Swedish bastards!”

 

Jake: “So name?”

 

Zero: “How do you not know me? I’m Zero! The Iron Dragon!”

 

Jake: “Oh…great…well, uh…nice to meet you-“

 

Zero: “Enough about that. I need to go find Sven and teach him to not forget me…and put me around all the pretty women. AND get my own bus!”

 

Zero storms off. Jake watches him leave.

 

Jake: “Good to know Jason is still the egotistical jackass he was. I thought he was banned or something.”

 

Jake shrugs.

 

Jake: “Now…where can I find trouble?”

 

Jake heads off as the scene cuts out.

Samantha Raine vs. Andrew Raynes

 

The arena goes dark and strobe lights pulse through the arena as "Through Struggle" hits the speakers. The crowd erupts into raucous boos as the lights dim around the entrance ramp, smoke begins to rise. After the intro kicks in, the lights start flashing as the smoke gets thicker, after a few moments we see Andrew Raynes appear through the smoke, his head shifted towards the ring, focused, a cold stare. He stands there for a few seconds still looking around, devoid of the fans.  He starts walking slowly with a cold stare in his eyes. 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, he is Andrew Raynes!” 

As he continues to look focused, he makes his way down the ramp, ignoring the fans. He walks down towards the ring where he slides in under the bottom rope. He pops up in the middle of the ring and looks around. He looks over at his opponent with a cold stare, sizing them up before the match even starts. 

 

Sharper: “We’ve already seen Andrew Raynes once tonight getting involved in Amy Chastaine’s business.”

 

Knots: “Giving a rude welcome to Kelsai Adamson-Mason in the process.”

 

Sharper: “He is almost obsessed by this. It’s been the source of his hatred and he’s never said a nice thing about her since returning!”

 

The arena’s lights cut and as the room falls into complete and utter darkness a buzz starts to spread through the crowd. It feels like a lifetime that the lights are off before they start to flash in a sequence that resembles lightening. Another moment passes and as the sound of rain fills the air while white and blue confetti starts falling on both sides of the entrance way. The sound of the rain is broken up momentarily as the voice of Samantha Raine is head saying…

“Raining on your parade.”

As the crowd start to react, the sounds of Firefly's “Unbreakable” starts to play through the arena. The crowd just further erupts in to cheers as the small silhouette of Samantha makes her way on to the stage, but she isn’t alone. There is another silhouette behind her clapping his heads.

"Where are the people that accuse me? The ones who beat me down and bruise me...
They hide just out of sight, Can't face me in the light, They'll return but I'll be stronger..."

The song’s intro gives way to the chorus and as the song takes a harder edge the flashes of lighting become more violent. On the big screen the fans are treated to the iconic view of Sam as she stands in an empty as it starts to rain on her. She just looks up at the sky allowing the rain drops to pelt her face while lifting her arms up towards the sky. In the meantime, Sam along with the man that can now be identified as Woody Hoyt start to make their way down to the ring.

Philips: “His opponent, making her way to the ring from Toronto, Ontario, Canada; being accompanied to the ring by Woody Hoyt, she is Samantha Raine!”

Before they start actually making their way down to the ring, Sam raises both of her hands up to her lips and kisses them, bending over towards the fans she acts like she is blowing kisses to everyone in attendance. As they reach the ring, Woody jumps up on to the apron while Sam walks up the ring stairs. He holds the ropes open so that she can climb in to the ring. Woody hops off the apron as Sam goes to the nearest turnbuckle. Which she climbs to the top and once again blows kisses to everyone in the arena.

 

Sharper: “Sam Raine has been one individual who has had a lot of issues with Andrew Raynes in the past though. Let’s all remember that adrenaline contendership battle royal at Making Things Right.”

 

Knots: “Says something about a man when you piss off so many people that it takes months to resolve.”

 

Sharper: “Could be more about the fact of how Raynes carries himself too. He’s not exactly a role model or a good person to be around.”

 

Knots: “Explains why Bree’s friends with him along with why his best friend is a felon and flaunts it!”

 

Sam turns and looks at Andrew as the crowd chants for “Sam!” Andrew looks around and the bell sounds. Andrew runs out and goes for a hard right, but Sam ducks and spins around into a school boy.

Andrew kicks out. Both get up and Sam grabs the arm and wrenches it. Andrew winces and pushes up and then nails her in the ribs with a shot and hip tosses her over. Sam rolls over and gets up and Andrew kicks her in the ribs. He whips her into the ropes and Sam bounces off and Andrew goes for a clothesline, but Sam ducks and drops down, taking him down with a drop toe hold.

 

Sharper: “Andrew taken down again as Sam cutting him off. Now with a drop toe hold.”

 

Knots: “If the goal is to piss Andrew off more, then she’s succeeding.”

 

Sharper: “She’s also looking to wrestle her style. She’s always been known for her technical skill!”

 

Sam moves to the arm and grabs it and pulls it up, trying to hook it for a variation armbar, but Raynes turns and rolls through and pulls her into a pin.

Sam rolls through. Both get up and Sam kicks Raynes in the knee before then drop toe holding him down again. Raynes smacks the mat in anger and Sam then grabs the leg and pulls back in an Achilles lock. Raynes reaches around and tries to grab Sam before starting to move forward to the ropes. He does and grabs them. The referee calls for the break.

Sam breaks it and rolls off. Raynes rolls over and moves his leg before starting to get up and Sam jumps up and dropkicks him in the chest. He staggers back and moves to the corner. Sam then grabs the leg of Raynes and starts to hook it on the rope and pulls on it. The referee counts again.

Sam lets go and Raynes pulls his leg out.

 

Sharper: “Sam focusing on the leg. Trying to cut down on Raynes mobility!”

 

Knots: “And trying to just limit what he can do. All of these moves can tear something if not cause something to bend the wrong way!”

 

Sam turns and walks back and forearms him in the jaw and then again before Raynes hits a back elbow, trying to fight out. The crowd boos and Sam turns back and Raynes elbows her again. More boos. She then turns and runs at him and Andrew catches her and throws her down with a standing STO. The crowd ohs and Sam rolls over in pain. Andrew limps out and then drives his elbow into the chest of Sam. He then follows up by choking her next to the ropes. The crowd boos.

Andrew pulls off. Sam turns and grabs at the ropes. Andrew pulls her up and then drags her away before lifting her up and hitting a snap back suplex. Sam rolls through. Andrew gets up and stomps her in the face. Sam rolls over. She winces and starts to get up. Andrew grabs her and scoops her up and hits a backbreaker.

 

Sharper: “Andrew driving Sam down, but into that worked over knee.”

 

Knots: “Either he’s running on hate and anger, or he’s just thinking the damage caused it worth the pain to him!”

 

Raynes hooks the leg.

Sam kicks out. Raynes rolls over and gets up and grabs Sam and drags her up. He then whips her into the ropes. Sam bounces off and Raynes goes for a clothesline, but Sam jumps up and goes into a crucifix pin before moving into a sunset flip.

Raynes kicks out, but Sam grabs his leg and rolls over with it and locks in a single leg crab. The crowd roars. Sam stands up as Raynes reaches out. He smacks the mat before starting to bridge up and then ducks under and Sam staggers back. Raynes then kicks her in the chest. Sam falls to the corner.

 

Sharper: “Raynes fighting out of the crab. Getting under. Impressive move by Raynes!”

 

Knots: “He’s got something for him. Too bad he’s a jerk!”

 

Sharper: “Sam caught in the corner and Raynes getting back up!”

 

Raynes then gets up and runs over and nails Sam with a running clothesline. He steps back and Sam staggers out and Raynes whips her across the ring. Raynes runs after and Sam gets a boot up. The crowd roars. Raynes stumbles back and Sam runs out and jumps up, but Raynes catches her and falls back into the ropes. Sam gets hung up and falls back and Raynes rolls through into  a school boy pulling on the tights.

Raynes lets go and rolls out of the ring. The crowd boos.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Andrew Raynes!”

 

The crowd boos more as Raynes gets up and looks around. He throws his arms up and smirks as Dustin Adams starts to walk out from the back.

 

Sharper: “Raynes steals it and now leaving the ring.”

 

Knots: “He’s looking around. He’s looking for Amy!”

 

Sharper: “Amy has much more respect and integrity than you do Andrew!”

 

Knots: “Dustin Adams even coming out. They either planned something or wanted Amy to lose it!”

 

Sharper: “Meanwhile, Jessica Winters has maybe found Alistaire Allocco for a comment!”

 

Andrew just laughs as he starts to walk up the rampway to the back. He joins Dustin as Sam starts to get up in the ring annoyed.

We open up backstage to see Adam Allocco walking backstage and Jessica Winters runs over to him.

 

Jessica: “Adam…where is your son? We need to-“

 

Adam: “Oh Jessica. No you don’t. How are you? Been a while. We go way back.”

 

Jessica: “Where’s your son?”

 

Adam: “I know. You want a comment about Glory muscling in on his match. Saying he’s naïve. Well, you know what, how about I think it’s a slap in the face to everything my son has accomplished. My son wanted to beat everyone in Dark Fantasy, save the world, and be like the Avengers all rolled into one. Why? He’s that damn good. It’s that simple. But Glory had to muscle in and she’s just going to screw everything up. If she’s so big for a fight, Casterillo…he wants her…or maybe she can take a few rounds with me first. We’ll see who’s capable of outlasting Syren then!”

 

Jessica looks at Adam a bit disgusted.

 

Adam: “This is a travesty and an insult and trust me, everyone is going to know it. Glory Braddock…get the hell out of my son’s way!”

 

Adam walks off as Jessica watches him leave.

“The Old Me” by Memphis May Fire plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. We then see a shot of Bree Lancaster vs. Giovanni Aries follow.

 

Sharper: “Main event about to happen. US Title on the line. Bree Lancaster challenges Giovanni Aries here on Breakdown!”

 

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns and we see Jessica Winters moving quickly backstage and heading over to one area to see Syren and CHBK standing in one of the hallways having a conversation.

 

Jessica: “Syren! CHBK!”

 

Syren smirks and steps over.

 

Syren: “I wonder what this is about.”

 

CHBK: “Three guesses?”

 

Jessica: “Glory Braddock using her Trios Tournament Contract. Similar to you using it a few years ago.”

 

Syren: “And I have no problem with it. Now it’s triple threat rules. We can have some fun. All I ask…if I beat her, will I get her moniker?”

 

Syren smirks and walks off as CHBK follows. The crowd boos.

Bree Lancaster vs. Giovanni Aries

SCW United States Championship

 

The lights dim as a voice backed by piano music fill the arena.

Just another product of today.... Rather be the hunter than the prey
And you're standing on the edge, face up... 'cause you're a NATURAL}

As the heavy music of Imagine Dragons kicks in the lights come back up and Bree Lancaster is standing on the stage, dressed in her black silk robe and her arms spread wide. Bree looks up as white sparks shower down behind her from the top of the set to the stage. Scott Burnside appears behind her. The crowd boos heavily.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall for TV time remaining and is for the SCW United States Championship! First, the challenger, making her way to the ring, from New Orleans, Louisiana and being accompanied by Scott Burnside, she is Bree Lancaster!"

The chorus continues as Bree and Scott make their way down the ramp, Bree holding her arms out all the way to the ring. She stops at the steps and Scott goes up ahead of her. Bree follows and Scott holds the ropes open for her to step through. Bree walks to the center of the ring, turning as she does. When she stops Scott then pulls on the silver belt holding her robe closed. The robe opens, revealing her black shimmery gear. Bree pulls the robe off and tosses it aside, where it lands over the top rope. She then walks a circle in the ring showing off, before going to the corner. Scott is on the outside and pulls her robe off the ropes as her music fades out.

 

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster has wanted this rematch for months. It’s not against Selena. It’s against Giovanni Aries.”

 

Knots: “And she hates Giovanni. She thinks he’s a horrible champion. He’s destroyed the title. I get it. I agree. That makes me feel dirty that I agree with her!”

 

Sharper: “This could be a hell of a match. And if you’re looking at your clock, don’t worry. We have contacted our broadcasting partners and we will stay on the air until this match is resolved!”

 

"Mad Hatter" by Melanie Martinez begins to play as Giovanni Aries steps out from behind the curtain as Sam his manager is in tow. Giovanni Aries has on a grey wolf pelt fur jacket on while wearing Oracle sunglasses. Giovanni Aries takes a few steps and then sits down Indian style in the middle of stage. He sits there and looks around the arena and begins to laugh hysterically before Sam walks over and pulls out a cigarette and lighter out of her cleavage and hands it to Giovanni Aries.

 

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Black Rock Desert, accompanied by Sam, he is the SCW United States Champion, Giovanni Aries!”

 

He lights the cigarette and takes a long deep drag before slowly standing up, but as he does, we see Xander Valentine step out from behind and nails Giovanni in the back of the head with a Yakuza kick. The crowd ohs and boos. Giovanni rolls over as Sam looks at Xander and then Giovanni stunned. Artemis moves over toward Sam and Sam backs up. Giovanni rolls over.

 

Sharper: “Giovanni Aries attacked by Xander Valentine! Xander is attacking the leader of the Wonderland?!”

 

Knots: “He said he’d help. This what he meant?”

 

Sharper: “He’s not done! He’s not done!”

 

Giovanni staggers up and Xander kicks him in the ribs and pulls him in and double underhooks him before hoisting him up and turning and hitting the Martial Bane off the end of the stage and through some tables on the floor. The crowd ohs and Giovanni Aries is in a heap on the floor. We cut backstage to see Selena Frost watching on the monitor, stunned. She looks unsure of what to think.

 

Sharper: “Martial Bane off the stage!”

 

Knots: “So he’s not with the Wonderland?”

 

Bree Lancaster is in the ring, snapping at the official.

 

Bree: “So he forfeits?! He forfeits! Give me my title! Come on!”

 

Bree keeps getting in the referee’s face as Scott hops onto the apron. Xander backs up and we then see James Evans stepping out from the back. Angelica Jones is with him, trying to talk sense into him. James just looks at Xander before glancing past him and looking at Giovanni. Xander then motions to Artemis before saying something to James. He walks past and to the back. James walks over and looks at Giovanni as Giovanni is down. Back in the ring, Bree continues to berate the official as the scene fades to black…
