DARK
MATCHES:
Chris
Lawler defeats Chad Evans via pinfall
Greg
Cherry defeats ASP via pinfall
Archer
Fiend defeats Ezekiel Wolfe via pinfall
The SCW
symbol comes onto the screen.
“The
following is a presentation of Supreme Championship Wrestling, the leader in
sports and entertainment in the world today.”
The scene
then fades to black.
MAIN SHOW:
Knight: “Come on Sasha! This
you can’t ignore!”
Breakdown opens to see Lucas
Knight standing in front of the office door of SCW Owner, Sasha Drachewych,
pounding on it. We see Brittany Lohan standing next to him, almost shoving him
out of the way, pounding on the door as well. Ravyn
Taylor can be seen just staring a hole into the door as she stands back.
Officials come in, trying to pry the two more aggressive individuals away from
the door.
Lohan: “Come on Sasha!”
Knight: “That’s what our
Commissioner does?! Torment the innocent!”
Ravyn: “Please....he torments
everyone!”
Knight glances back as Ravyn
turns to him. Knight then kicks the door before being pulled back a bit.
Sharper: “Welcome to Breakdown
and you can see a hell of a situation backstage. Dark Triad and Lucas Knight
seemingly have some information regarding something CHBK did over the weekend
and have been dead set at getting him removed from the commissionership.”
Knots: “Well he’s clearly made
things personal. That’s not how you run things!”
Ravyn then turns as Lohan
tries to get through the door as well before Ravyn walks forward and pulls her
back. The officials immediately move
into the void created, standing between Knight and Dark Triad members, Lohan
and Ravyn, along with standing in front of the door. The officials immediately
implore everyone to disperse and leave.
Ravyn: “Come on Brittany.
We’re not going to waste time with this disrespect!”
Knight: “Hey!”
Ravyn: “Not you. Our so-called
owner who is so blind to see what is right in front of her eyes...this
corruption. CHBK crossed the damn line. So we’re going to make her know this is
nothing new!”
Lucas just looks at Ravyn
before Ravyn turns back to Lohan.
Ravyn: “Come on. Go to the
production truck. I’m heading to the ring.”
Ravyn and Brittany then walk
off as Lucas Knight just watches them leave before ripping himself away from
the officials and starting to walk in the opposite direction as the scene fades
to black.
The opening strums of “Rescue
Me” by Buckcherry plays as the Breakdown logo flies past the screen before we
see a shot of Jake Starr holding the SCW Championship over his head. This is
followed by a shot of Josh Hudson locking in the Angle before freezing and
flying past the screen. We see a shot of Katie Steward posing on the rampway
before freezing and flying past the screen. This is followed by a shot of
Rachel Foxx biting Asher Hayes’ lip and then ripping away as Asher winces from
the sudden pain, before freezing and flying at the screen.
“You can't erase this deep
inside of me
I know I'm not a sight to see
But baby, I'm alive.”
We see Damian Angel nailing
Rick Rohl with a lead pipe before freezing and flying at the screen. A shot of
Jason Zero dropping Sasha Drachewych with the Chaos Theory is shown before
freezing and flying at the screen. A quick shot of Greg Cherry holding the SCW
Adrenaline Championship over his head, before switching to a shot of Gable
Winchester and Stacy Kissinger standing together, followed by a shot of Thorn
hitting the Griever’s Bane on someone is shown, followed by a shot of CHBK
standing in a suit in the ring, all freezing in mid-motion and flying at the
screen.
“I cherish the love and
I cherish the life that's inside of me
And I know I'm not a sight to see
But baby, I'm alive.”
Shots of Gigi Steward and
Syren looking at each other, standing across the ring from each other, followed
by showing Fred Debonair nailing someone with the Debon-AIR, and followed by a
shot of Christian Savior hitting a spear on Greg Cherry are all shown before
freezing and flying past the screen. A shot of the SCW Tag Team Champions,
Liberation, are shown, posing with the titles before flying past the screen.
“Won't you come and rescue me?
Separate myself from me
Maybe I'm too blind to see
Save my life, rescue me.”
Several shots of various SCW
competitors, new and old, including Shilo Valiant, Drew Weilacher, Thorn &
David Helms, Lucas Knight, Masquerade, Dark Triad and others all fly past the
screen before ending with the SCW Breakdown logo flying into the screen.
The scene then switches to the
inside of the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey where spotlights
circle the arena before pyro shoots out from the entrance way on both sides and
around the big screen before coming to a stop. The crowd erupts in cheers as
the cameras pan the audience, showing the crowd, cheering and waving their
signs, hoping to get onto camera. Spotlights circle the arena for a few moments
before we sweep down to ringside and the SCW announce team of Adam Sharper, Jim
Dawson and Jonathan Knots.
Sharper: “Welcome everyone to
the home of Supreme Championship Wrestling, Toronto, Ontario, Canada and
welcome to Breakdown! I’m Adam Sharper, alongside Jim Dawson and Jonathan Knots
and we’re already off to a hell of a start.”
Dawson: “Ravyn Taylor is
incensed. Brittany Lohan is enraged. Lucas Knight is ticked. CHBK has done
something to get a rise out of them. We don’t know what. They seem to, but have
given no specifics.”
Knots: “It’s been all over
supremecw.com. I’ll put it this way, if I smell smoke, chances are there’s
fire. This has to be it for CHBK as Commissioner!”
Dawson: “I don’t know about
that. Let’s not name him guilty yet.”
Knots: “Of course you
wouldn’t.”
Sharper: “Well despite that,
we’ve got a huge show. Tonight, three main events as the US Championship will
be on the line, and Jake Starr and Josh Hudson will be in action. Josh Hudson
will face off against Jason Zero for what may be the final time as Josh Hudson
faces him. And Jake Starr will face off against the Suicide Queen, Rachel Foxx.
A huge night...and....well...here we go.”
Ravyn Taylor starts to make
her way out from the back with purpose and no music. The crowd starts to boo
loudly as the Toronto crowd reflect support for their hometown hero. Ravyn just
ignores them as she walks down to the ring and over towards the steel steps.
Dawson: “The very angry Ravyn
Taylor and this is a big change from last Breakdown. Ravyn Taylor was beaming
as she earned a Tag Team Championship shot for her and Syren.”
Knots: “Yeah, but as soon as
they got it and CHBK probably realized his little plan failed, he got spiteful
and did something to torture Ravyn and the innocent Syren.”
Sharper: “We’ve see CHBK
‘target’ if you will Dark Triad before and Ravyn suggests its
unfair. I think that’s a bit extreme.”
Knots: “But you’re not
disagreeing! Are you?”
Sharper: “I don’t know what I’m
saying. I respect CHBK for everything he’s done. He’s one of the best. He’s
also one of the most professional people I’ve ever met.”
Ravyn walks into the ring and
walks across the ring before demanding the microphone from Jason Phillips.
Phillips looks around a bit confused only for Ravyn to snatch the microphone
away from him before turning around and walking over to the middle of the ring.
She then looks around as the boos continue.
Ravyn: “I don’t give a damn
about whatever you simpletons promote from your hometown hero, Alex Desoubrais.
Because I am here tonight ready to expose him for what he is and that is a
two-faced manipulator who will do all he can to get what he wants. Fairness is
something he could not fathom in any way. And I will prove that here tonight.”
Ravyn pauses as the boos start to come from all over and a very audible
“CHBK!” chant begins.
Ravyn: “Chant for your hero.
He isn’t here. Some type of hero he is. Clearly undesiring of
your adulation. But while his shrivelled career continues to deteriorate
before you all, I will snuff out the last of it here tonight when I make my
case clearly and compellingly to the individual that must have their
eyes-opened and that is our owner, Sasha Drachewych....The individual who has
suffered the most from CHBK’s grievous injustices!”
Knots: “Testify!”
Dawson: “She’s yet to show
anything yet.”
Ravyn just looks around,
gaining more and more boos and leading to louder and louder chants. Ravyn just
pauses as we turn to the big screen to see Brittany Lohan in the production
truck. She has one individual with a headset on by the collar and holding him
up. She then turns to the wall of monitors beside her and smiles before looking
at the camera.
Lohan: “Ravyn...say when.
We’re ready here.”
The crowd boos as Lohan turns
back to the man she is holding hostage.
Lohan: “Now go back to the
ring and let Ravyn properly set this up.”
The man nods and we go back to
ringside to see Ravyn smirking.
Ravyn: “Seems like this will
go smoothly. See, I’ve mentioned repeatedly that you only need to look at the
past of CHBK to see what kind of man he really is. People say
that you outgrow your past, but those individuals are merely misguided by their
hopes of betterment. Society attaches labels all the time. If you were
the girl who slept around in high school but cleaned up afterwards, you’re
still the slut. If you’re the guy who cheated on his wife in the office, you’re
always a lying dirtbag. No one can escape their past....and that includes CHBK.
So Sasha...you want to know who you’re working with. The man you trust more
than anyone else. Brittany...have them play it.”
Ravyn then drops the
microphone in the middle of the ring, causing an audible thud. The crowd boos
as Ravyn steps forward and steps through the ropes and drops to the floor. The
scene suddenly cuts to show a black screen as Ravyn’s compilation begins to
play.
“This is
How a Heart Breaks” plays in the background before we see a slow-motion shot of
a younger CHBK smirking. This is then followed by a replay of CHBK nailing The
Phantom with a superkick at Highway to Hell 2005.
Dawson:
“What?! That’s his own partner!”
Johnson:
“Yes! CHBK’s going to help the Mercenaries take this. They’re going to be in
control of Massacre this Monday!”
This is followed
by a shot of Kassie Khane being told that CHBK isn’t looking out for her best
interested. This follows to a shot that shows CHBK nailing Lawler with a hard
superkick.
Dawson: “What the hell!”
Johnson: “WHAT?!”
Dawson: “CHBK just nailed Lawler with
Sweet Chin Music.”
CHBK then grabs the microphone and
looks down at Lawler.
CHBK: “Lawler….you stupid, stupid,
son of a bitch. You want to know who contracted the Torch?
It was me! CHBK!”
This
switches to a shot of Mr. Drachewych before seeing CHBK walking out, hands out
and then hugging him.
CHBK:
“Weapon....really...you thought we were friends. Well....”
The shot
turns to a shot of Drachewych.
Drachewych:
“Lethal Weapon, you’re fired and stripped of the World Championship!”
This is
followed by a shot of CHBK nowhere to be found as Weapon takes Drachewych down
with his finishing move off the stage. This turns to a shot of CHBK attacking
Phantom before hoisting him over the ring, bloodied with blood dripping down
onto the mat and floor.
Sharper: “I don’t believe what I’m
seeing. This is just sickening. He’s hanging the Phantom above this capacity
crowd. Everyone is silent and doesn’t believe what they are seeing.”
Johnson: “It’s the death of the Phantom
guys! CHBK has killed the Phantom here right in front of us!”
Dawson: “This is not right. CHBK is
humiliating one of the greatest in SCW history. My God….”
We then see
a shot of CHBK winning the World Championship, the same that was vacated by Drachewych,
by eliminating Greg Cherry last. This is followed by a shot of Greg Cherry
coming to the ring for a match.
Sharper: “Greg Cherry looks
focused. Drachewych told him he’d know by the end of the night if he’d get a
title match. We’re almost there and still no answer.”
Johnson: “It’s because its no. He
doesn’t deserve a damn thing.”
Dawson: “Either way, he’s going to
get his answer here right now in front of this live audience.”
We then see
Mono Loco, Celeste Camini, Adam Allocco and Donovan Kayl all running down and
attacking Greg Cherry in several photo-like pictures before we see CHBK in
freeze-frame hitting Greg Cherry with a superkick.
Dawson: “Good God! What a
devastating superkick. Cherry got it right in the jaw!”
Sharper: “I don’t believe it! CHBK
has orchestrated this whole thing. All of these men are working together for
our disgusting champion!”
Johnson: “A beautiful plan! This
was brilliant!”
CHBK: “Well Greggo! You wanted a
title shot. I think I’ll give it to you. Adam, you’re on staff. If you will….”
We then see
CHBK pinning Greg as the crowd can be heard booing and the scene fades to black
before only a few words come on the screen.
“The more
things change....the more they stay the same....2010....or just 2005 over
again.....”
That phrase
remains on the screen for a few moments longer before fading to black slowly
and Breakdown heads to commercials.
COMMERCIAL:
Breakdown returns and the
scene opens up backstage to see Jessica Winters
standing in front of the office door of Sasha Drachewych. The crowd cheers
faintly.
Jessica: “I’m here in front of
the office of Sasha Drachewych. As we saw to open the show, Ravyn Taylor, Lucas
Knight and Brittany Lohan have all been vocal in this displeasure of this
event, whatever it may be, that occurred involving
CHBK. I have attempted to speak to Sasha, but Sasha,
actually has a guard essentially acting as her doorman and she has stated that
she has refused to comment on the situation until CHBK arrives. At the moment,
CHBK has yet to do so, but we have cameras at the entrances and when he does,
we’ll be sure to cover the situation and inform everyone of what exactly is
going on. Back to ringside.”
Jessica smiles a bit
disappointed about not being able to give much more information and we go to
ringside to the English announce team.
Sharper: “What a start...”
Knots: “So does that say it
all. Sasha know she’s in trouble here.”
Sharper: “I don’t know about
that.”
Dawson: “Well certainly
something to think about.”
Sharper: “A heck of a start as
we’re just weeks away from Rise to Greatness, but before then, we’ve got some
huge matches here tonight and so much more. CHBK still to arrive.
James Exeter is expected to be here. We know Xander Valentine is here. Savior and Katie Steward. Karnivale.
What the hell is going to happen next?”
Jason Zero vs. Josh Hudson
The lights dim and a hush comes over the audience. The big screen suddenly goes static
and this static starts to form a shape that all the audience recognizes. The
audience cheer thunderously as they recognize the face of Jason Zero. The face
smiles before saying.
‘The Kingdom Of Old Is Dead.
The Order Has Fallen.
Now Is The Rise Of A New Kingdom…
Of Chaos’
The familiar electric guitar starts playing Crush 40’s ‘Knight of the Wind’
while fans of the proclaimed Crusader of Chaos holds up their lighters as a
trap door opens from the stage ramp.
Wooaaah, Woooooah
Slowly, a large glass orb and two metal towers rise.
We can see the silhouette of a man kneeling in that orb. As the lyrics start,
he slowly rises out stretching his arms at a 45 degree angle.
Hey all (Hey all)
Welcome to the greatest storm.
I know, I know.
You have waited much too long
And I (And I)
I will be your shining star.
I’m here (I’m here)
You Better conquer fear or run!
Suddenly the two metal towers spring to life shooting bright purple and pink
electricity at the orb. The man inside does not shy from this and within a few
seconds the orb implodes, collapsing all around, leaving the man inside
standing, exposed. To no one’s surprise, but to their delight, standing there
is Jason Zero, is head to the sky, his eyes closed.
Like a sword, I'm brought
Into the heat of the day
Like a knight, I'll fight
Until the fight is won
In the reign, I save
Each and every
Each and every
Each and everyone
'Till this war is won
Zero looks around at all the lighters and the fans who use their hands to form
the letter ‘Z’. He gives a grin before running down the ramp way as he makes it
The crowd continues to scream out to Zero. He hops to
the turnbuckle, reaching out with his arms and looking to the heavens before
removing his jacket.
And I'm meant to rule
By the sword
Slashing through the every inch of the power
The power in you
As I sit
As I stand
By chaos will I command
My kingdom
I'm a knight of the wind
The music is turned down and then off as the crowd cheers.
Dawson: “Jason Zero won’t be
going to Rise to Greatness to face the World Champion. We know that.”
Knots: “Yeah. Sasha made that
decision-“
Sharper: “Stop it.”
Dawson: “But can he defeat
Josh Hudson. And this may be the last time we see these two face
off.”
Sharper: “Josh Hudson made it clear.
He is leaving SCW after Rise to Greatness. And he wants to end his SCW career
by proving he is the best. But tonight, Jason Zero will want to prove he can
beat Josh Hudson.”
“Love Me or Hate Me, It
Doesn’t Make a Difference" can be heard throughout the arena, as it echoes
through the PA system and then it breaks into “Right In Two.” Out from the back
steps none other than Josh Hudson. He stops atop the entrance ramp, and looks
out into the crowd and nods his head yes, and then begins to head down to the
ring. He ignores the various boos and the middle fingers and trash talk from
the fans, walking down the ramp with a smirk on his face. He continues to
slowly make his way to the ring, a look of determination on his face as he
slides underneath the ropes. He climbs to the top rope and stares out into the
crowd, smirking, before dropping down and sitting against the turnbuckle,
waiting for the match to begin.
Sharper: “These two have a
hell of a history, but think of this. Think of the momentum that Hudson would
gain as he heads into Rise to Greatness to face Jake Starr. Beating Jason Zero
would be like beating the 1972 Miami Dolphins. It’s huge.”
Knots: “Yeah, but then again,
does Josh Hudson want to beat Jason Zero or make an example out of him?”
Sharper: “But will Jason Zero
let him if it’s the latter?”
The bell sounds and the crowd
roars as we see Jason Zero and Josh Hudson turn to each other. Hudson just
smirks as Jason Zero looks at him and dares him in. Hudson just shakes his head
no before daring Zero in. Zero just smirks before lunging, but stopping. Hudson
flinches just enough and Zero then kicks him in the knee. He nails him with a
hard right and Hudson spins around. The crowd cheers and Zero kicks him in the
ribs and fires him into the ropes. Hudson bounces off the ropes and Zero knees
him in the ribs and then turns and grabs him from behind and takes him up and
over with a hard back suplex. He rolls over and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Hudson kicks out. He rolls
over and starts to get up and Zero quickly moves over and locks him in a side
headlock. He pulls up as the crowd cheers a bit.
Sharper: “Zero right now
controlling Josh Hudson.”
Dawson: “Experience against
experience here. Both have made a career about being two of the best.”
Knots: “Yeah and Hudson right
now is trying to make his career of being the absolute best!”
Zero pulls up and Hudson
pushes him forward and into the ropes. He turns and fires him off and Zero
bounces off the ropes. Hudson moves forward and catches him for a belly to
belly suplex, but Zero blocks it and knees him in the
ribs. He nails him with a hard right and then another before whipping Hudson
into the ropes. Hudson bounces off the ropes and Zero jumps up and dropkicks
him down. He turns and goes for another pin.
1!
2!
Hudson kicks out again. He
rolls over and Zero turns and grabs Hudson and starts to lift him up. He then
grabs him and drives his head into his knee. Hudson rolls over. Zero then smirks
as he walks over and goes to the corner. He pulls himself up to the second
rope. He looks down as Hudson rolls over. He looks up and Zero jumps forward
but Hudson grabs him and then lifts him up and over with a leg hook overhead
suplex. The crowd ohs as Zero rolls over, holding his back in pain. He then
starts to stir.
Sharper: “Oh! Pure strength there, but great scouting. A huge suplex
overhead and Zero is in pain.”
Knots: “He caught him coming
down. Zero had it all and Hudson just caught him and launched him over!”
Zero gets up and turns to
Hudson who quickly kicks him in the ribs. Zero bends over and Hudson grabs him
and takes him over with a gutwrench suplex. Zero winces and Hudson turns sits
him up and locks him in a dragon sleeper. Zero winces as Hudson pulls back and
Zero reaches around. He manages to look around enough and starts to move his
legs. Hudson looks around, but Zero gets to the ropes quickly, placing his leg
underneath the plane of the ropes. Hudson, however, just jerks him away. The
referee calls for the break as Hudson gets to his feet, still holding onto
Zero.
Dawson: “Come on! Break the
hold. He got his foot to the ropes!”
Knots: “He has until five.”
Hudson just looks at the
referee as Zero continues to struggle only to then hoist him up and throw him
back with a reverse suplex. The crowd ohs as Zero rolls over, holding his ribs
in pain. Hudson then rolls over and gets up before hitting a running elbow drop
to the chest of Zero. He then goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Zero kicks out. He rolls over
and Hudson turns to him. He then grabs him and slowly lifts him up. He then
turns and throws him into the corner. Zero winces and Hudson chops him hard
across the chest. He then backs up and chops him again. Woos come from the
crowd. Hudson then just smirks before grabbing Zero and snapmaring him out of
the corner. Zero rolls over and gets up and Hudson just runs at him and drills
him with a clothesline. The scene then switches quickly backstage to the
“Brotherhood” locker room to see Jake Starr watching the match on his
television as Thorn and Helms discuss strategy in the back.
Sharper: “And there you see
Josh Hudson’s opponent at Rise to Greatness, Jake Starr, watching intently.”
Knots: “And he watching Josh
Hudson take apart a seven time champion.”
Hudson turns back to Zero and
stomps him in the head. Zero rolls over and starts to get up. He turns and goes
to reach for the ropes, but Hudson stomps him in the head again. He then grabs
him and hoists him up. He then takes him over with a snap suplex. Zero rolls
over and starts to get back up as Hudson turns and runs into the ropes. He
bounces off them and comes from behind and drills Zero with a hard clothesline
to the back of the head. Zero drops down and Hudson rolls him over and goes for
the pin.
1!
2!
Zero kicks out again. He rolls
over and Hudson grabs him and starts to lift him up. He then clubs him in the
back before clubbing him again and then grabbing him with a waistlock. He
pushes Zero forward before going for a German suplex, but Zero backflips
through and lands on his feet. Hudson gets back up and turns around only for
Zero to dropkick him in the head. Hudson rolls over and starts to get up before
turning around to Zero and Zero scoops him up onto his shoulders and throws him
back with a Samoan drop.
Dawson: “That trademarked
Samoan drop just stopped Hudson right there.”
Sharper: “And the man who was
en route to beating the former seven time champion may be about to lose to that
seven time champion!”
Zero rolls over and hooks the
leg.
1!
2!
Hudson gets his shoulder up.
Zero looks over and then grabs Hudson and slowly starts to lift him up. He
nails him with a forearm shiver before then whipping him into the ropes. Hudson
bounces off the ropes and Zero turns and attempts to throw him over the top
rope to the floor. Hudson however floats over and lands on the apron. Zero
turns around and runs at him and Hudson quickly grabs
him in a clutch over the top rope. The crowd roars as Hudson goes to belly to
belly him right off the apron, but Zero headbutts him. He then jumps up and
nails him with an enziguri to the head. Hudson falls down and rolls to the
floor as the crowd roars.
Dawson: “Hudson falls to the
floor!”
Knots: “Oh man! I was hoping
he’d throw Zero right out of the ringside area!”
Sharper: “Josh Hudson is down
at ringside. Zero right now in control. We have to take a commercial break, but
this match will continue when we return!”
Zero smiles as he drops to his
knees and then rolls to the floor as Hudson starts to stir and the scene fades
to black.
COMMERCIAL:
Breakdown returns and we see
Jason Zero with Josh Hudson on the top rope. He has a front face lock hooked in
as he starts to hoist Hudson up.
Sharper: “Welcome back to
Breakdown and Zero is about to take Hudson all the way down!”
Knots: “Come on! Counter! No!”
Zero throws Hudson back and
hits a top rope superplex as both men crash in the middle of the ring. The
crowd ohs and then cheers as Zero winces. Hudson remains spread eagle on the
mat and Zero rolls over and crawls over before throwing himself on top of Zero.
1!
2!
Hudson gets his shoulder off
the canvas and the crowd sighs. Zero rolls over and looks at Hudson before the
referee before slowly starting to pull himself up. He stumbles over and goes to
the ropes. Hudson starts to stir and Zero then turns and walks over and kicks
him in the ribs. He then grabs him and whips him into the corner. Hudson hits
hard and Zero runs after him, but Hudson gets his elbow up. Zero staggers back.
Hudson then runs forward and spins around Zero and rolls him up in a school
boy.
1!
2!
Zero kicks out. Both men roll
over and start to get up.
Sharper: “Back and forth now
as Hudson comes out of the corner.”
Knots: “See this is why he’s
the best. He never gives up. Wrestling is his passion, not the fans!”
Zero gets to his feet and
Hudson nails him with a hard right. Zero stumbles back and falls to the ropes.
He pulls himself back up and turns back to Hudson but Hudson kicks him in the
ribs. He then whips him into the ropes. Zero bounces off the ropes and Hudson
turns and grabs him and snaps him over with a hard belly to belly suplex. The
crowd ohs and Zero rolls over. Hudson turns around and slowly crawls over to
him before grabbing Zero by the legs. He crosses them over and goes for the
Angle, but Zero turns and nails him with an elbow. Hudson falls back and lets go. Zero rolls over and pulls himself back to his feet
and turns to Hudson before kicking him in the ribs. He then jumps up and
attempts a hurricanrana, but Hudson counters with a sitout powerbomb. The crowd
ohs as the referee counts.
1!
2!
Zero gets his shoulder off the
canvas and the crowd cheers. Zero then rolls over and starts to pull himself up. Hudson gets up and just smiles as he waits for
Zero.
Dawson: “He’s just stalking
him.”
Knots: “Time for Jake Starr to
watch what may be in his future!”
Sharper: “Hudson waiting for Zero
to get back to his feet and when he does, this is going to end bad for him!”
Zero slowly pulls himself up and stumbles around before turning back to
Hudson. Hudson grabs him and attempts a T-bone suplex, but Zero elbows his way
out of it. Hudson spins around and Zero turns and runs into the ropes. He
bounces off them and attempts a clothesline, but Hudson ducks and spins around
before throwing Zero back with a hard release German suplex. The crowd ohs as
Zero rolls over. Hudson turns around and rolls him onto his back and hooks the
leg.
1!
2!
Zero rolls his shoulder off
the canvas and the crowd cheers. Hudson rolls over and Zero turns and starts to
stir. Hudson just glares at the referee before grabbing Zero and dragging him
back up. He then kicks him in the ribs. He turns and whips him into the ropes.
Zero runs into the ropes and Hudson scoops him up onto his shoulders. The crowd
roars and Zero suddenly rolls off and counters with a neckbreaker. Hudson rolls
over in pain.
Sharper: “Zero counters! Great neckbreaker coming out of the G2S position.”
Knots: “Good lord. These two
may never stop fighting.”
Dawson: “They’ve had some wars
in the past. Even think back to Body, Heart and Soul earlier this year.”
Hudson stirs and Zero rolls
over and starts to get up. Hudson turns and looks up at Zero and Zero then
turns and grabs him and takes him over with a fisherman’s suplex into a bridge.
1!
2!
Hudson kicks out. He rolls
over and both men get up. They then both turn to each other and Zero takes
Hudson down with a double-leg takedown before folding his legs over and setting
up for the Four Leaf Clover Hold, but Hudson grabs Zero by the head and nails
him with several hard rights to the head. Zero lets go and staggers back.
Hudson rolls over and manages to get back up. He then turns around and Zero
suddenly turns and drills Hudson with a spear. He then rolls over and falls to
his side as the crowd roars. Starr can be seen smiling as we get a split screen
showing the action in the ring and a shot of Starr watching the match in his
locker room.
Dawson: “Starr watching
intently as Hudson’s ribs have to be smarting after
that spear!”
Knots: “Out of nowhere. Damn
it. Thank God Zero is too worn down to go for the cover himself!”
Zero reaches at the ropes and slowly
starts to lift himself up. He stumbles around before
Hudson starts to pull himself up. Hudson manages to get to his feet and Zero
kicks him in the ribs and drops him with a DDT. Zero
then rolls over and exits to the apron. He then starts to climb up to his feet
before starting to climb up to the top rope. The crowd starts to roar as Zero
gets to the top rope and looks down at Hudson. Hudson, still down, just remains
still and Zero then steadies himself before diving off, attempting a swandive
headbutt, but Hudson rolls out of the way. The crowd ohs and Zero slowly pull
himself up. Hudson manages to get up and then quickly grabs Zero and throws him
over with a Saito suplex and both men remain down.
Sharper: “Zero went for it all
with that headbutt, but no one home.”
Knots: “And Hudson just
launched him again and every time that happens, it hurts everything. Starr,
that’s your future right there! Just think, this could be one of the last times
on Breakdown we’ll be seeing this!”
Dawson: “That’s true. We are
watching a historic encounter here tonight. Arguably, the last time Jason Zero
and Josh Hudson will ever go at it!”
Hudson starts to stir. Zero
does as well. Hudson turns back to Zero and grabs him and Zero nails him with a
hard right, jarring him. Zero then knocks him over with a clothesline. Hudson
pops back up and Zero runs into the ropes and then hits another clothesline.
Hudson gets back up and Zero hits a third one before running into the ropes
again. Hudson pops up yet again only for Zero to hit a flying shoulder block.
Zero then gets up and looks at Hudson and starts to fume. Hudson slowly stirs
and Zero turns and runs into the ropes and attempts a running flipping senton,
but Hudson rolls out of the way. Zero rolls over and gets back to his feet only
for Hudson to hoist him up onto his shoulders and hit Zero with the Go 2 Sleep!
The crowd ohs and Zero falls back. Hudson then falls to his knees before going
for the pin.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd roars and Hudson
rolls off of Zero. He then looks at him and smirks before pulling himself up.
Dawson: “And Hudson manages to
get past Zero here tonight.”
Sharper: “That’s what Jake
Starr may have to get ready for. Hudson is coming for him.”
Dawson: “Zero got one last
flurry in, but one mistake and that was it.”
Knots: “Let’s get ready for
Hudson ending Starr’s dominance and leaving by crushing the hopes of these
fans. Rise to Greatness. It will happen!”
Hudson smirks before walking over
to the ropes. The referee goes to raise his hand, but Hudson just exits
ignoring the referee. He then slowly starts to walk towards the back as Zero
starts to stir, holding his jaw in pain as the scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns and the
scene opens up to see Sasha Drachewych in her office taking a deep breath and
looking down, clearly frustrated.
???: “So....he goes too far and
isn’t even here to aid you.”
Sasha looks up as the camera
pans out to show Damian Angel standing in the locker room.
Damian: “And I thought I
wasn’t the one to be trusted.”
Sasha: “Damian.....this isn’t
the time.”
Damian: “I can see that. But
you need to make a decision.”
Sasha just looks up at Damian,
clearly unhappy.
Sasha: “Just like you need to
deal with James Exeter?”
Damian smiles.
Damian: “No need to be snippy.
And Exeter...I have a plan for him when he arrives. Do you have one for CHBK?”
Sasha looks back down.
Damian: “I thought not.”
Damian then steps out of the
locker room before walking into the hallway. Jessica Winters can be heard
trying to get inside, but the door closes before she can get anywhere.
Sasha: “Turn that camera
off....”
Sasha just sighs as we cut
back abruptly to ringside.
New Noise vs. Dylan Cole &
Waylon Cash
The lights dim as the opening
of "Beautiful Tragedy" by IN THIS MOMENT begins to play throughout the
arena. Smoke begins to bellow from the entranceway, keeping the visibility to a
minimum at that point. When the song moves into its general pace, Clark Davis
jogs out through the smoke, raising his arms when he becomes fully visible.
Jack Roby follows, looking around at the crowd. The arena lights come back to
normal levels as both Jack and Clark make their way to the ring. When he gets
close to the ring, both men run and slide into the ring from under the bottom
rope. They both stand up, Clark moving to a turnbuckle and standing on it while
Jack moves to the nearby ropes. Clark crosses his arms in front of him to make
an X, flashing rock fists and sticking his tongue out before stepping back down
as Jack stands on the middle rope and raising an arm in the air before he steps
down.
Sharper: “New Noise starting
to get things going in their tag team title aspirations. Last Breakdown,
unfortunately, they didn’t go as planned.”
Knots: “Yeah, the LaRues
somehow managed to race past them and get the win. And at least the bastards
did it fairly!”
The lights around the arena
fade out, with two spotlights perched atop the ramp. Then.
the loudspeakers blare up with...
I
WANT
MY
MONEY
BACK!
The crowd boos as "Life Is A Lemon" by
Meatloaf gets into gear, bringing a body stepping out to fill in the spotlight.
Dylan Cole looks out over the crowd, his hoodie open with the hood up.
Stretching out his arms at his side, Cole begins to walk down towards the ring,
followed by the spotlights.
Once he gets to the ring, Cole jumps up onto the apron. Walking around to the
side the camera is pointed towards, he leans back on the ropes, pushing his
hood back before stretching his arms out again, throwing his head back. The
crowd boos further as the spotlights fade and the arena lights return. Cole
climbs through the ropes and, once in the ring, removes his hoodie and waits
for his partner.
Dawson: “Dylan Cole may be in
for an interesting night.”
Knots: “Don’t tell me you’re
buying the rumours on the SCW website.”
Dawson: “He said them. He’s
even agreed that he’s said them. He openly insulted his partner.”
Knots: “He just motivated him.
That’s all.”
Sharper: “He called him an
idiot and slow!”
The opening strains
of Clutch’s “Prophets of Doom” blares over the speakers as Waylon Cash runs
out onto the entrance platform. A cheer erupts from the crowd as he dances down
the ramp. Stopping in front of a group of rather rowdy fans, he throws up the
metal horns and slaps hands with them before sliding under the bottom rope and
into the ring. He leaps to the second turnbuckle, inciting the crowd to scream
even louder as he eggs them on. Before the music settles down, he pulls off his
straw cowboy hat and tosses it out into the crowd. He then turns and Dylan just
walks over to him with his hands up, trying to calm him down only to drill him
in the jaw with a hard right. The crowd cheers as Dylan Cole falls back.
Knots: “Hey!”
Sharper: “Waylon Cash making
his debut here on Breakdown and immediately making an impact on his partner!”
Cole turns, holding his jaw in
pain, but suddenly, Clark Davis and Jack Roby both run up behind Cash and grab
him and throw him up and over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd ohs and
Clark turns and goes for the pin on Cole as Roby backs up.
1!
2!
Cole kicks out. He rolls over
and Clark gets up. Cole turns around and Clark kicks him in the ribs and then
nails him with a hard right before whipping him back into the corner where Jack
Roby has returned to. Clark runs after Cole and jumps up and nails him with a
diving clothesline in the corner. He turns and tags in Roby and Roby enters the
ring as Clark exits. Roby then drives his shoulder into the ribs. Cole winces
and Roby nails him again. Cole winces and Roby then grabs him and throws him
out of the corner with a hip toss.
Dawson: “Well this unorthodox
team of Cole and Cash quickly not being helped by the chemistry between Roby
and Davis.”
Sharper: “Cash however is
about to get back into the ring. He’s hardly someone who cares about rules!”
Cash rolls into the ring and
Roby turns only for Cash to kick him in the ribs and then turns and boots him
in the side of the head. The referee immediately comes over and pushes him
back. Cash tries to get past the referee, but then concedes before exiting to the
apron. Cole slowly gets up as Roby stirs, holding his jaw and turns back to
Cole only for Cole to drive his elbow into the back of his head. Roby rolls
over and starts to get up and Cole walks over and stomps him in the face. He
then turns and grabs Roby and lifts him up before quickly throwing him back
with a back suplex. Roby rolls over and Cole goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Davis pulls Cole off. Cole
turns around and then glares at Cash. Cash just flips him off before Cole rolls
over and grabs Roby and starts to lift him up only for Roby to hit a
jawbreaker. Cole staggers back and falls back to his corner only for Cash to
tag himself in.
Sharper: “And here comes Cash
again.”
Knots: “Doesn’t care about his
partner at all! Cole was right!”
Dawson: “But he is ready to
ground and pound!”
Cash enters the ring and runs
at Roby and clotheslines him down. Roby rolls over and gets back up and Cash
turns and just runs at him and shoulders him down. Davis enters the ring and Cash
turns and takes him over with a back drop. The crowd cheers a bit as Roby gets
up and Cash turns and walks over to him and kicks him in the ribs before
clubbing him in the back hard. Davis is pushed back to the corner by the
referee. He then grabs Roby and spins him around and drops him with a hangman’s
neckbreaker. He turns and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Roby kicks out. Cash then
turns and grabs Roby and slowly starts to lift him up. He then turns him and
whips him into the ropes. Roby bounces off the ropes and Davis blind tags
himself in. Roby runs at Cash and Cash lifts him up, but Roby floats over.
Davis meanwhile jumps to the top rope and Cash is pushed forward and right into
a missile dropkick from Davis. The crowd ohs and Roby exits the ring.
Sharper: “What a dropkick!
Davis blind tags himself in and he may have just done what he needed to do
there.”
Knots: “Roby even pushed Cash
into Davis.”
Dawson: “Teamwork at its
finest.”
Sharper: “Could that be it? The cover!”
Davis hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Cole pulls him off. He then
sticks his tongue out at Cash before exiting back to his corner and grabbing
the tag rope. Davis looks at him and glares before grabbing Cash and lifting
him up. He nails him with a hard forearm shiver before kicking him in the ribs
and then spinning him around into a swinging sitout neckbreaker. He then turns
and runs into the ropes. He bounces off the ropes and attempts a flipping
senton, but Cash rolls towards him and then gets up at the ropes. Cole tags
himself in and Cash looks up at Cole only for Davis to nail him with a
dropkick, knocking him through the ropes to the floor. Davis gets back up and
Cole enters the ring before lifting him up and hitting an inverted atomic drop
and then grabbing him and throwing him down with a reverse STO. Cole rolls over
and looks out and poses.
Sharper: “And Cole’s arrogance
coming out now as he manages to get a bit of a slight on his partner and his
opponent.”
Knots: “He’s a proud guy. What
are you going to say about that?”
Sharper: “Well so far he’s a
lot of sizzle and little steak. Got a lot way to go before he
can earn to be like this.”
Cole turns and looks over to
Davis and drags him up. He then turns and whips him into the ropes. Davis
bounces off the ropes as Jack Roby tags himself in. Cole
attempts a clothesline, but Davis ducks and stops. Roby then suddenly
places his head between the legs of Cole and lifts him up onto his shoulders.
The crowd roars as Davis runs over to the New Noise corner and hops onto the
top rope. Roby turns to Davis and Davis dives forward and hits the Doomsday
Trigger. Davis lets go and moves forward as Roby dives and goes for the pin.
Cash just waves them off, dropping down off the apron.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd roars as Davis turns
and looks at Roby as Roby gets up and the two high-five.
The referee walks over and raises their arms in victory.
Dawson: “And the New Noise get their win and get their first wins as a team!”
Sharper: “Their tag team
career starting to take off now.”
Knots: “Yeah, but Cash...just
dropping off the apron. Some teammate!”
Dawson: “Cole may want to
learn to not be so arrogant.”
Cash continues to walk towards
the back as Cole winces. Roby and Davis continue to celebrate in the ring and
pose as we go backstage.
Breakdown cuts backstage and
we see Gable Winchester sitting next to Stacy Kissinger in their locker room.
Stacy: “Why would he send
someone to attack you?”
Gable: “Don’t know. But
apparently Michael Mordrid wants to speak with me. That’s what that damn card
said. He’s given control of the show and is acting like a mob boss or
something.”
Stacy: “I doubt it’s like
that.”
Gable: “He could have just
said hello and asked to talk.”
Stacy: “I dunno, Gable.”
Gable: “Same here. All I know
is that Ezekiel Wolfe guy who attacked me is with SCW. Maybe after tonight,
I’ll take him on next Breakdown and get some revenge.”
Stacy: “Well you know I’ll be
in ya corna if ya do.”
Gable: “I know...I know.”
Stacy: “But focus on tonight.
You got to defend yer title.”
Gable: “Shilo....he’s
good....but I’ve been better late...and I’m gonna show that again tonight.”
Stacy: “That’s ma Gable.”
Stacy smiles as Gable smirks
back and the camera fades out on the SCW United States Championship as we go to
commercial.
COMMERCIAL:
"Until the Whole World
Hears" by hits over the PA System and the crowd roars in cheers as Chris
Lawler comes out from behind the curtain and stands at the top of the
entranceway with a huge smile on his face. Chris makes his way down the
entrance ramp and stops about halfway down and drops to his knees. He looks up
as though he's looking up to God above and starts talking. Lawler hops back up
to his feet and continues down the ramp and slides in the ring and salutes the
fans. He then walks over to Jason Phillips.
Dawson: “Chris Lawler last
Breakdown said that he wanted to talk to Sketch Retro tonight. Retro cost
Lawler the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal and obviously, has harboured
some ill-will to Lawler.”
Knots: “Yeah, but he wants the
little idiot out here without his manager. And I’m sorry, that’s just not fair
to the guy. Lawler’ll just intimidate him!”
Dawson: “Oh come on.”
Lawler is handed the microphone
and he turns around and goes to the middle of the ring before looking around
and taking a deep breath.
Lawler: “I’m not going to come
out here and take up too much time. Last Breakdown, I made it clear that I
wanted to speak with Sketch Retro one on one. Well...I want to speak to Loki
one on one. No Master Roboto. Just Loki. So Loki,
please, I ask you to come down here.”
Lawler looks down at the
entrance way, concerned. He then steps back a bit as then the instrumental of
“Mr. Roboto” can be heard. The crowd boos and Lawler just shakes his head in
disappointment as smoke comes up on the stage and we see Master Roboto walk out
from the back. He just shakes his head as he continues on his way down to the
ring. Lawler just remains in the ring looking at him as Roboto makes his way
down and walks up the steel steps and enters the ring. Having a microphone with
him, he just pulls it out and smiles, looking at Lawler.
Sharper: “I guess we’re going
to be seeing Roboto. Roboto’s not agreeing to this.”
Knots: “Do you blame him? He’s
looking out for his client.”
Lawler however speaks before
Roboto can even start.
Lawler: “Roboto....I made it
clear. I wanted to speak with Loki, not you.”
Roboto: “That’s a bit of a
shame. Because not only do you have me here, this Loki you speak of, does not
exist.”
Lawler: “He does....He does.”
Roboto: “You must have Sketch
Retro mistaken for someone else. He has evolved. He has moved forward to a new
chapter of his life and one that no longer focuses on the weaknesses of his
alter-egos.”
Lawler: “Roboto...I know Loki
is still who Sketch Retro really is. The impressionable kid
whom I attacked ruthlessly two years ago. I came out here because I
wanted to speak to him to apologize. See, the last two years, my career has been
on a roller-coaster ride. I’ve turned to sin in order to make my career
improve. I’ve done things I am definitely not proud of. And the only way I can
undo what I did to Loki is to ask for forgiveness. I planted him on that
rampway and took him out for over a year and half. So in front of my God and
everyone here ask for repentance.”
Roboto: “Oh stop that
religious crap! You want this so you can manipulate him away from what his
calling is...and that calling is to be the most vicious man in SCW history!”
Lawler turns away.
Lawler: “You can think what
you wish. This is why I hoped you for you not to be here. This is why I wanted
to speak with Loki-“
Roboto: “His name is Sketch
Retro!”
Lawler: “I wanted to speak to Loki
because only once you look into a man’s eyes can you find the real person. And
only then would I know if he could truly forgive me for that horrible decision
I made two years ago.”
Roboto: “You want
forgiveness....Well, I think I can provide you with an
answer.”
Roboto then smacks Lawler
across the face. The crowd ohs and Lawler just looks up and glares at Roboto
before suddenly, we see Sketch Retro slide into the ring from behind. Roboto
points behind Lawler and Lawler turns around and Retro flips up him and grabs
him by the head before dropping him with the Retrograde! The crowd ohs as
Lawler then rolls over, holding his head in pain. Roboto then moves forward and
smiles and grabs Retro, turning him away from Lawler. He then talks to Retro as
the crowd boos. Roboto then turns and leads Retro away from Lawler,
intentionally not allowing him to looking at what he did.
Dawson: “So is that his
answer? A no?”
Sharper: “I don’t know. Roboto
isn’t letting him see what Retro did. He’s leading him away.”
Knots: “He doesn’t need to see
the results.”
Sharper: “Something’s not
right here. Roboto orchestrated this...and he’s not letting Retro relish it?”
Dawson: “But Retro still took
out Lawler. He still did it.”
Sharper: “But for what
reason?”
Retro exits the ring and he
starts to turn only for Roboto to exit and turn him back around. Retro looks
down as Roboto keeps talking to him. Lawler stirs a bit and looks over at the
rampway to see Retro being led away. Lawler winces and shakes his head and he
slowly rolls over.
The scene opens backstage to
see Greg Cherry backstage in his locker room, tossing his bag down in the
corner. We then see Ashley Cherry walk in and turn before sitting down next to
the back and looking up.
Greg: “Okay...what’s wrong?”
Ashley: “That obvious.”
Greg: “Well given that there’s
no hello, it’s pretty clear.”
Ashley: “Sorry, just with you getting
your title shot. And well, I just want to get my hands on Syren once more. I
just want one more chance.”
Greg: “Then ask for it. Or
better yet, go through the entire women’s division and get your shot.”
Ashley: “Yeah...well, given
that Syren’s pretty busy until Rise to Greatness, I have to wait either way.
That’s just not my style.”
Greg: “Well, then just relax.
Heal up. Train. Get better. Then when you get your
chance, you’re ready.”
Ashley: “Easy for you to say.
You have your shot.”
Greg: “Nothing says you can’t
get yours.”
Ashley: “Yeah...I don’t know.”
Greg then walks over and leans
over, kissing her on the forehead.
Greg: “Just relax. It’ll
happen. You just need to pick your spot.”
Ashley just looks up as Greg
smiles and walks off. The camera focuses on the frowning Ashley Cherry before
the scene cuts backstage.

Breakdown returns and we see
Jason Zero backstage, walking out of his locker room and we see Marisa
Condolesa just about to go to his locker room.
Condolesa: “Jason! Jason! Can
I talk to you?”
Zero stops and turns around,
rubbing his jaw as he looks at Condolesa.
Condolesa: “Just a quick
comment-“
Zero: “On what? How I’m not
going to get to beat Josh Hudson? I’m feeling peachy!”
Condolesa: “Actually...about
Sasha’s decision with your deal.”
Zero just looks down and smirks.
Zero: “Oh that....It’s been
taken care of.”
Zero then turns and walks off
as Condolesa just looks confused.
Condolesa: “Taken care of?
What?”
We then go back to ringside.
Sharper: “It’s been taken care
of? Did he find someone to take the deal? Why haven’t we heard anything?”
Knots: “I don’t know. But
please let it be Sasha’s father. Please let this place go back to the way it
was!”
Jamal Evans vs. David Helms
The arena goes to pitch black
with little lightening strikes in the background lightening up the arena as Nas
starts talking in his Dr. Trevis-like voice.

Suddenly the lights in the arena come back on as Jamal Evans explodes from the
back as Nature starts rapping.

Jamal Evans hops down the entrance ramp slapping fans hands shirtless with only
his black jean shorts on and his black hat turned backwards on the top of his
head. He reaches the bottom of the ramp and darts up the steel steps then climb
through the ropes. He jumps onto the top of a turnbuckle and throws his hat to
the crowd as they cheer. He jumps down beating his chest and then starts to stretch in his corner before the match begins.
Sharper: “Jamal Evans looking
to continue his return to the level he was once at. He defeated three men last
Breakdown and tonight he’s going to look to defeat the former Underground
Champion.”
Knots: “But this
aint Underground rules. This is straight up. And either way, both are
going to be out of their element.”
All is dark and Air raid
sirens fill the arena, a spotlight drifts around as typing on a keyboard can be
heard, words scroll across the video screen
INITIATING THE “NEXT LEVEL” PROGRAM….
The sirens continue along with sounds of gunfire before the tapping on the
keyboard starts again
SUBJECT: HELMS…
The background noise echoes loudly around the arena, becoming almost deafening
as tapping on the keyboard can be heard one last time.
EVALUATION: DANGEROUS…
The gunfire and sirens halt as the chanting intro of “Downfall of us All” by A
Day To Remember echoes around the arena. Two blue
fireworks shoot from the rafters and explode on the ramp as the song’s riff
kicks in. The lights flicker back on and Helms can be seen on top of the arena,
His manager Johnny Ward by his side as he looks out into the audience that are
cheering loudly, chanting in some cases. He stops and smirks before throwing
his arms into the air, jumping and hitting the Self High Five as Johnny shadow
boxes at the side of him. As Helms lands, fireworks go off all the way down the
ramp before he resumes walking down the ramp, side by side with Ward, high
fiving fans. As Ward climbs the steps, Helms slides under the bottom room and
climbs the turnbuckle, one again raising his hands into the Self High Five. He
hops down and walks over to Ward who flicks a quick one two playfully on his
chin before dropping back down to the outside. Helms stands in the middle of
the ring and waits for the start of the match, while on the outside Johnny
starts to get the crowd behind his boy.
Sharper: “Rumour has it that
David Helms is looking to branch outside of the Underground Division and gain
notoriety elsewhere.”
Knots: “Yeah. He’s doing this
because he knows that Lucas Knight is too good for him.”
Dawson: “Oh lord. Here we go.”
The bell sounds and Jamal and
Helms look to each other and nod. They then circle around briefly before
lunging towards each other and grappling. Helms manages
to push Jamal back and right into the corner. The referee calls for the break
and Helms lets go and backs away. Jamal just nods and Helms backs
up. Jamal then moves in and both grapple again. Helms quickly
hits a leg trip and drops down for a pin, pushing down on the hands of
Jamal.

Jamal rolls his shoulder off
and Helms gets to his knee, trying to add leverage, but Evans headbutts Helms.
Helms lets go and falls back and then rolls over and
gets up. Jamal Evans gets to his feet and runs over to Helms and nails him with
a running forearm. Helms spins down to his knees and
starts to get back up. Jamal nails him with a jab and then a kick to the ribs
and whips Helms into the corner. Helms hits and Jamal runs after him only for
Helms to turn and nail him with a back elbow. Jamal staggers out and Helms runs
over and nails him with a clothesline.
Sharper: “Nice explosive
clothesline from Helms, knocking down Jamal Evans.”
Dawson: “A lot of feeling out
here early. Neither one is really committing to anything tactics yet.”
Jamal starts to stir and gets
up only for Helms to help him up and then take him over with a vertical suplex.
He then rolls over and goes for the pin.

Jamal kicks out. Helms gets up and Jamal starts to pull himself up. Helms
grabs Jamal and nails him with a forearm and then another before chopping him
in the chest. The crowd woos. Helms then grabs Jamal
and whips him into the ropes. Jamal bounces off the ropes and Helms turns
around and lifts him up, but Jamal spins through and then grabs Helms from
behind only to then lift him up and then hoist him up with a bridging German
suplex.
1!
2!
Helms gets his shoulder up and the crowd
ohs.
Dawson: “Wow! Jamal without
hesitation snapped that suplex off.”
Knots: “Yeah. I wonder if that
brings memories to Helms. Granted, it’s without some of the stupidity of
falling on thumbtacks or barbed wire, but still.”
Dawson: “Getting dropped on
your head, regardless of the match, hurts!”
Knots: “You’d know!”
Helms starts to slowly get up, crawling
away from Jamal before then getting up. Jamal turns and walks up behind him and
throws him back with a back suplex. Jamal then rolls over and walks over to the
ropes. He exits to the apron and then starts to walk over to the corner and
climb up to the top rope. He looks over at Helms as Helms starts to get up and
Jamal dives off and hits a crossbody into a pin.
1!
2!
Helms kicks out. Jamal
rolls off and then starts to get up. Helms stirs and Jamal turns and
hits a fist drop. He then rolls over as Helms stirs again and Evans grabs Helms
and lifts him up. He then turns and goes to whip him into the ropes, but Helms
spins through and sends Jamal in. Jamal bounces off the ropes and Helms then
suddenly tilt-a-whirl down into a backbreaker. The crowd ohs and Jamal rolls
over, holding his back in pain. Helms falls to his knees as
the crowd cheers a bit.
Dawson: “These two are taking
everything they have out of each other here tonight.”
Sharper: “Leaving it all in
the ring. How it should be?”
Knots: “Yeah, yeah. You’re
acting like these two are going to join Liberation. They’re fighting for a win.
They’re fighting because they want to be the best, not because of competition!”
Helms pulls himself up as Jamal starts to
get up. Helms quickly kicks him in the ribs and then
turns and runs into the ropes. Jamal pops up and attempts a clothesline, but
Helms ducks. He then bounces off the other side and jumps up and nails him with
a spinning heel kick. Helms then rolls over and goes
over to the corner. He glances back before starting to climb up the turnbuckle
to the top rope. He looks back as Jamal slowly gets up and turns back to Helms only
for Helms to dive off and hit a moonsault into a pin.
1!
2!
Jamal kicks out. Both men roll
over and get back up as the crowd cheers a bit. Helms then jumps up and attempts a spinning back kick to the jaw, but Jamal ducks and
spins around. Helms turns around and Jamal lifts him up and hits the So Icy as the crowd roars.
Sharper: “My God! Back and
forth! And that Uranage planted Helms.”
Dawson: “Now what does Jamal
Evans have deep down to try and put this one away.”
Evans turns and walks over to
Helms. He then grabs his arm and goes to set up for the triangle choke, but
Helms suddenly flips forward and into a jackknife pin.
1!
2!
Jamal kicks out. Both roll
over and start to get up and Helms quickly manages to lift Jamal up and drops
him with the Hip Toss Piledriver! Helms then turns and jumps to the bottom
turnbuckle and then runs up the corner before diving back and hitting the
Social Distortion. The crowd roars and Helms turns and hooks the leg.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd cheers and Helms rolls off. He smiles as the referee turns and raises his arm
in victory.
Dawson: “David Helms, with an
amazing series of moves, wins this.”
Sharper: “My God what a
flipping leg drop that was. And it did the trick. David Helms wins the match!”
Helms slowly gets up as Jamal Evans starts to
stir. Helms leans forward against the ropes and looks up
before then slowly exiting to the floor. He takes a few deep breaths as
Ward walks over to join him and we go backstage.
Breakdown cuts backstage to
see Stacy Kissinger walking backstage with two coffees in her hand. She turns
the corner and suddenly is tripped, falling forward, spilling both coffees on
the ground in front of her. Stacy winces a bit and turns.
Kissinger: “God! Watch it.”
???: “Yeah...or what? You’ll sing me
a tune.”
Brittany Lohan is seen
standing over her.
Kissinger: “What did ya say?”
Lohan: “You heard me. Now, get
up and go be gopher for your boy toy. Pathetic.”
Lohan then turns and walks
off. Kissinger pulls herself up looking completely shocked at Lohan’s tone
before then kicking the cups away and turning and walking back in the direction
she came as Breakdown cuts to commercial.

Sharper: “Welcome back to
Breakdown and welcome to ringside. Tonight, we’ve already had a very explosive
show to say the least.”
Dawson: “No doubt. We came on
the air with Lucas Knight, Ravyn Taylor and Brittany Lohan enraged at something
CHBK two weekends ago. Sasha would not listen to them and Ravyn came out
reminding us all about the man CHBK is.”
Sharper: “Showing us some of
his less scrupulous moments. Regardless, Ravyn Taylor’s war against the
Heartbreaker continuing and becoming more.”
Dawson: “I don’t even know if
she recalls she has a Tag Team Championship match at Rise to Greatness.”
Knots: “Well and with that, we
saw Josh Hudson and Jason Zero beat the hell out of each other.”
Sharper: “Great match there.”
Knots: “And Chris Lawler
didn’t get what he wanted. He just has a headache.”
Sharper: “And this is all with
plenty of show left to go.”
"Colder Than Ice" by
KC Blaze blasts as a blue mist creeps onto the ramp. Out comes Glacier with an
unzipped navy hooded jacket on with dark blue jeans that stop at the knee and
white sneakers. He takes down the hood and looks up at the crowd that cheer
him. As he walks down the ramp blue pyros go off on the sides of the ramp.
Sharper: “Well there you see
Glacier and he’s looking a lot better than he did last Breakdown.”
Knots: “Yeah. Justin Davis
came out and just like Glacier cost him the SCW World Championship, Davis cost
Glacier the Underground title.”
LAST
BREAKDOWN (JUNE 9, 2010):
Glacier
turns around, hearing the boos only for Lucas to
actually mule kick him. Glacier drops down to his knees in pain and Davis just looks
at him and smiles widely before drilling Glacier in the head with the
sledgehammer. Glacier falls over and Lucas drops to his knees. Davis then just
steps back as the boos continue and Lucas crawls over to Glacier, rolling him
over and then just placing himself on top of him.
Dawson: “There you see the
first shot...and then Davis went further.”
Sharper: “Yeah...driving that
sledgehammer into Glacier’s head repeatedly before hitting the Lip Sealer on a
destroyed chair...”
Davis then
hoists Glacier up before looking turning and dropping him with a Lip Sealer on
the bottom of the seat of the chair he just folded, causing the lip of the seat
to do extra damage, cutting up Glacier a bit more in the forehead. Glacier
rolls over and holds his face in pain. Davis then gets up as officials finally
enter the ring and manage to push him away. Davis just glares at Glacier as the
crowd boos loudly.
We return to the live shot to
see Glacier standing in the ring with a microphone in his hand. He looks around
as his music fades out. The crowd roars and Glacier looks down before looking
back up at the main camera.
Glacier: “So it seems like
I’ve gotten Justin Davis’ attention. I know he’s now not going to run. I know
he’s not going to let me down again. So I know that I need to prepare for the
fight of my life. And Davis also knows, he’ll have to
do the same.”
Glacier smirks as the crowd
roars a bit.
Glacier: “See, since I’ve
returned, I’ve heard one question over and over again. Since February, why am I
with Justin Davis? Why am I with the man who screwed me over years ago? Well
the answer now reveals itself. Because for months, Davis and
I....we were friends. I called him and we talked. We made amends. We
hung outside of shows. I tried to help him out. And when I felt good enough to
return, I came back...and got to enjoy that Davis had gotten. He was at the top
of his game. He had everything he wanted. And I knew it was time to stop the
charade.”
Glacier smiles.
Glacier: “I knew it was time to
finally stab the backstabber in the back.”
Glacier smiles some more as
the crowd cheers.
Glacier: “And last Breakdown,
Davis looked into my eyes. He tried to take me out. I know that. And this only
tells me one thing....that this will end badly for both of us. Because while
last Breakdown, I would’ve loved to be Underground Champion. Then I would have
gladly put that title on the line so I could do all I wished to him at Rise to
Greatness. But with Davis deciding to take his shot, I had a bit of a phone
call with CHBK and Sasha. And they’ve decided to give me what I want...and to
give Davis what he wants.”
Glacier walks forward and
leans on the ropes.
Glacier: “Justin...last week,
you busted me open in front of the world. You left me a bleeding mess. Almost
like things coming full circle. Well, Justin, I will make sure that it will
come full circle. Because after seeing what you and that slut Rachel Foxx enjoy
doing, I’m going to play right to that.”
Glacier then nails himself in
the head a few times hard. A trickle of blood starts to come from his head as
he manages to open himself up slightly. Glacier then smiles before reaching up
and touching his head, seeing the blood now on his fingers.
Glacier: “Because I’m not
afraid to bleed. And neither are you. But at Rise to Greatness, your blood is
what I want. And we will see at Rise to Greatness, you, Justin, face me in a
First Blood match.”
Glacier laughs as the crowd
cheers before...

Pyrotechnics shoot out of the top of the ramp as "Awake and Alive" by
Skillet begins to play. The crowd roars and then boos as Justin Davis walks out
from the back, brandishing Rachel Foxx’s sledgehammer again over his shoulder.
With a microphone in his hand as well, he slowly starts to walk down as Glacier
turns and smiles.
Sharper: “This is personal
between these two, but Glacier may want to consider some change of plans. Davis
has a weapon.”
Knots: “Not just any
weapon...a sledgehammer! The same sledgehammer he dropped Glacier with last
Breakdown.”
Davis continues to slowly walk
down before pulling the hammer down and holding it in front of him.
Davis: “You know Anthony, I
did trust you like a brother. But it seems to me that you’re forgetting who
you’re dealing with. You want First Blood....Sure. You’ve got it. But
Anthony...you forget....I could care less if you make it to Rise to Greatness
or not. Because you took what I wanted more than anything
else, the SCW World Title. And for that....I’m going to take what you
have left....any semblance of a career!”
Davis then places the
microphone down before starting to walk towards the ring as the crowd roars.
Dawson: “Davis doesn’t care
about Rise to Greatness?”
Knots: “Hell no. He wants to
get rid of Glacier permanently!”
Glacier however just laughs before
dropping to his knees.
Glacier: “That’s a shame
Justin. Because you’re doing exactly what I figured you would since being with
Rachel. You’d act without thinking.”
Davis reaches the ring and
goes to step him before Glacier stands up.
Glacier: “I’ve been planning
revenge for two years Justin. Do you really think this was it?”
Glacier smiles as the crowd
roars. Davis
however pauses, confused by the statement. This confusion lasts just long
enough for officials to run down to the ring and stand between Davis and the
ring. A couple of officials take away the sledgehammer, pulling it away before
Davis spins around. The officials continue to pull him back as Glacier just
looks at Davis smiling. Davis just looks at Glacier glaring before trying to
pull free.
Knots: “Think that was it?
What does he mean by that?”
Dawson: “I don’t know. Davis
doesn’t know. Only Glacier knows. There’s something more here.”
Sharper: “And Davis may get to
find out. Either way, Rise to Greatness, Glacier and Davis, First Blood Match!”
Glacier continues to smile as
Davis continues to try and pull free but to no avail before the scene cuts
backstage.
Backstage, the scene opens to
see Christy Matthews standing next to SCW interviewer Marisa Condolesa. The
crowd gives a mixed reaction as Marisa turns to the camera.
Condolesa: “I am here with
Christy Matthews and first off, everyone is wondering why you were speaking
with CHBK on the last Breakdown. Given the issues with many of your allies and
CHBK, the move was surprising.”
Matthews: “Marisa, I’m sure
this will seem like a relatively tame answer, but the fact of the matter was
that I was talking to CHBK about starting my wrestling career here in SCW. I
have been on the sidelines for too long. I aided Lucas, sure, in some of his
matches. But for those who have followed my career, they’ll know that I don’t
like sitting still and I like the challenge. SCW is what it is for the
competition and I’m going to see how I stack up. I met with CHBK about starting
to compete.”
Condolesa: “So that’s all.
This has nothing to do with your husband and whatever issues are taking place
between him and you? It’s no secret that he’s been critical of CHBK’s actions
towards Dark Triad, as well as himself.”
Matthews: “Sorry, but there’s nothing
more there. At most, I’m doing this because I’m not coming to the ring with
Lucas anymore.”
Condolesa: “Well can you give
us a hint about what happened between you and him? You two are still married?
You still involve yourself in Dark Triad affairs. You seemed to work together
with Dark Triad members at Taking Hold of the Flame.”
Matthews: “Our issues are
personal and they’re between Lucas and myself. Last
time I checked, Lucas nor myself are Dark Triad.”
Condolesa: “But-“
Matthews: Sorry, but I need to
go. I have a match coming up.”
Matthews just looks at
Condolesa a bit disparagingly before turning and walking off.
Condolesa: “Well that’s Matthews story and well, we still know little else of the
issues between Matthews and Lucas Knight. But regardless, when we return
Christy Matthews will make her Breakdown singles debut. Guys...”
The scene switches to a still
of Jake Starr vs. Rachel Foxx as “Rescue Me” plays in the background.
Sharper: “Thank you Marisa.
We’ll be seeing that, but also, still to come, Jake Starr and Rachel Foxx will
go at it one on one.”
Knots: “Starr gets to have his
taste of insanity for the evening and hopefully will pay for it!”
The still switches to another
still, this time of Shilo Valiant and Gable Winchester with the SCW US
Championship in the background.
Dawson: “And Gable Winchester,
proving himself to be the defending champion will
defend his title against Shilo Valiant.”
Sharper: “Valiant didn’t take
his rematch against Savior, but he’s asked for the opportunity to try and
challenge for the title tonight. He has it and that we’ll see later tonight.”
Dawson: “And we expect CHBK to
be here. James Exeter still. A lot
to come. Don’t go anywhere. More Breakdown after
this!”
COMMERCIAL:
Breakdown returns to Sasha’s
office as she looks still flustered. The door to her office can suddenly be
heard opening.
Sasha: “Look, I’m already busy. I don’t have time...”
Sasha cuts herself off when she raises her head to look at whoever walked in, and the look on her face tells us that whoever it is
definitely isn’t who she thought it was. The camera pans back a bit to find,
surprisingly, Aaron Rupp standing in the open doorway, bandaged up in quite a
few places as he has his hands tucked into his jeans pockets.
Rupp: “I'm sorry Sasha. I probably should’ve knocked first...”
Rupp closes the door behind him and gently takes a few steps forward.
Sasha: “What are you doing here Aaron? You’re supposed to be in the hospital
after that nasty landing you had at Taking Hold of the Flame. Heard you had some minor surgery and all.”
Rupp: “I won’t take up too much of your time, Sasha. Yes, I was hurt at Taking
Hold of the Flame. I had... other things on my mind that deeply distracted me,
and my body paid the price for it. But... I need to be
back in the ring so I can better fight some of my personal demons. I was hoping
you’d be able to give me a match sometime in the very near future.”
Sasha lets out a sigh as she moves her papers aside and folds her hands on her
desk.
Sasha: “I’m afraid I can’t do that Aaron. You’re not medically cleared to
compete, and according to the doctors you won’t be medically cleared for some
time still.”
Rupp: “Then I’ll sign a waiver or something. I have to be back in the ring
Sasha. I just have to...”
Sasha: “I just can’t do that Aaron. I’m not going to risk one of my wrestlers
suffering a possible career-ending injury because I let you get back in the
ring when you aren’t physically ready to return yet.”
Rupp nods his head with a sigh before leaning on the desk, staring deeply into
Sasha’s eyes.
Rupp: “I respect where you’re coming from Sasha, I really do. But you have to understand...
I need this more than anything. I need to compete again even if I’m hurt. I...
I need to find my personal redemption, and this is the only way I can do that.
I don’t care if I have to put my body at risk when I really should still be
lying in a hospital bed. That’s how much I need this Sasha... please
understand...”
Sasha blinks a few times, confused and trying to figure out
Rupp’s words. She leans back in her chair with a sigh.
Sasha: “...I’ll think about it and get back to you. Does that sound good
Aaron?”
Rupp: “Yeah, that’s fine for now. Thank you Sasha.”
Rupp turns and proceeds to exit the office as Sasha slowly shakes her head.
Sasha: “I just hope he knows what he’s doing... whatever it is...”
Sasha returns her attention to the stack of papers as we head back to ringside.
Christy Matthews vs. Fred Debonair
The lights dim in the arena as
the screens all cut to black and for a few seconds and there’s nothing but the
reaction of the fans heard all around the arena. After a few moments the
opening “King of the World” by Porcelain and the Tramps hits the PA system as
spotlights begin to flick on and off around the arena. The fans sing along with
the lyrics as the camera pans through them all and back to the cheap seats in
the back of the arena where we see Christy Matthews standing on the guard rail
with her arms outstretched in an eerily familiar mock-crucifix pose. Her fists
and ankles are taped and she wears no boots but has both knee and elbow pads on
and looks more than ready for the task ahead and she’s kitted out in a red
jacket the hood pulled up over her head in a style similar to the classic
fairytale. As she jumps down from the guard rail the screens around the arena
begin to display familiar wording once more...
...E B D O N E N T E R T A I N M E N T P R E S E N T S...
...C H R I S T Y M A T T H E W S...
She begins to push her way down to ringside accompanied by Autumn Valentine and
Christopher Richter, her two hundred and sixty five pound enforcer, who easily
clears out the fans in the way as Christy makes her way down to the barricade.
Leaping over the barricade, Christy begins climbing the outside of the
turnbuckles and standing on the middle rope, pulling down the hood of her
jacket and striking the mock-crucifix pose once more. As the second chorus of
"King of the World" hits Christy sings along with the lyrics,
continuing to strike the crucifix pose before finally leaping over the top rope
and spinning around in the ring, throwing her ring jacket to the outside and
collapsing to a seated position in the corner of the ring.
Sharper: “Apparently we now
know why Christy Matthews was speaking with CHBK. She wanted to join the
roster.”
Dawson: “Well she has a
history and I’m sure Adam you’ll touch on it. Regardless, she had an impressive
appearance at Taking Hold of the Flame and she wants to build off that.”
Knots: “But why? She wants to
compete. Why? Why didn’t she do this when Lucas Knight, her husband came in?
What is going on there? Why now?”
The lights in the arena begin
to die down as red and blue spotlights resembling Police cars circle throughout
the arena as sirens wail all around. Suddenly the key intro for "Empire
State of Mind" begins to play as Fred Debonair steps out from behind the
curtain, he holds his head up high and raises his arms nodding as the crowd
roar with approval and chant his name.
He begins to walk down the aisle and stops halfway before throwing up his hands
once more and sporadic pyro's blast through from left to right behind him, on
the stage. He stalks toward the ring before sliding in, underneath the bottom
rope and jumping up onto a turnbuckle once more, hands in the air as the music
slowly dies down and the house lights come back up.
Dawson: “In any case, why now
can be answered by her at some other point? I figured you’d be happy you had
another female to ogle.”
Knots: “Well, normally I
would, but she’s married and Lucas Knight is just too awesome. Whatever she’s
angry at, she should just forgive him because he’s Lucas Knight.”
Sharper: “Brilliant analysis
as always. Speaking of analysis, Fred Debonair is someone that Christy Matthews
knows a lot about. While she was still apparently on speaking terms with her
husband, she watched him compete against Debonair many times. She done her scouting.”
Dawson: “And for Debonair,
that’s going to make this a hell of a challenge.”
The bell sounds and Debonair
looks at Christy. Christy takes a deep breath and hops up and down before
stretching out briefly and moving forward. Christy then just watches Debonair
and Debonair moves forward only for Christy to attempt a spin kick to the head,
but Debonair manages to move back and dodge it. Christy spins around and
Debonair then moves forward and nails her with a forearm to the jaw. Christy
staggers back and Debonair then grabs her by the arm and pulls her into his
knee before bending her over and setting up for a pumphandle. Christy however
suddenly rolls through and takes Debonair down by the leg. Debonair immediately
manages to grab the ropes in front of him and Christy holds on for a moment
before slowly letting go and backing up.
Knots: “Whoa! That came out of
nowhere.”
Dawson: “Great leg takedown,
but the positioning wasn’t there.”
Sharper: “Let’s not fool
anyone here. Christy Matthews is an accomplished grappler. She’d had some great
training and to those that followed Majestic Wrestling, you know of some of her
accomplishments as well as what she is capable of.”
Christy rolls back to her
knees and Debonair gets up. He just looks at Christy and Christy moves in again
and goes for the leg again, but Debonair blocks and clubs her in the back. He
then lifts her up and nails her with a hard right. Christy spins around and
Debonair then scoops her up and slams her down. Christy gets back up and
Debonair takes her down with a headlock takedown only for Christy to counter
with a headscissors. Debonair nips out of it and both get up and Christy
manages to hit a jumping spin kick to the chest, knocking Debonair down. She
then turns and hits a jumping senton before reaching back for the pin.

Debonair however pulls her
back in a crucifix pin.

Christy kicks out. Both
competitors roll over and get up and Christy attempts a kick, but Debonair
catches it and then pulls her in for a clothesline before pacing around the
ring.
Dawson: “Christy’s quick, but
right there Debonair was quicker.”
Knots: “Just pulled her in and
roughed her up. Hardly gentlemanly.”
Christy starts to stir and
Debonair turns and jumps up and drops his knee in her face. He then goes for
the pin.
1!
2!
Christy kicks out. Debonair
turns and grabs Christy and lifts her up, holding onto her head. He then whips
her into the ropes. Christy bounces off the ropes and Debonair grabs her in a
bearhug-like hold before going for a side belly to belly, but Christy lands on
her legs and then drops down with a snap headlock takedown. Debonair gets back
up and Christy kicks Debonair in the ribs and then hits a spin kick to the
chest before jumping up and hitting a standing enziguri to the back of
Debonair’s head. Debonair slowly gets up and Christy grabs him before throwing
him back with a Russian leg sweep. She then rolls through and turns before
running into the ropes. She bounces off them before hitting a running leg drop.
Dawson: “Christy turning up
the quickness factor here.”
Sharper: “And not giving
Debonair a chance to breathe or recuperate. Smart tactics by
Christy Matthews.”
Knots: “She did learn from the
best...her husband.”
Sharper: “My God you’ve got
your lips stuck to his ass.”
Knots: “Hey, he’s the one hanging
out with four hot girls. I think it’s a solid plan.”
Dawson: “Well actually three
girls since his wife isn’t talking to him.”
Knots: “Details!”
Christy rolls over as Debonair
stirs. Christy then grabs him and drives her knee into his back. She then grabs
him and just throws him back before then diving on top of him.
1!
2!
Debonair kicks out. Christy
gets up and starts to pull himself up. Debonair stirs and Christy just waits
for him to get up. Debonair slowly gets to his knees and Christy attempts a
spin kick, but Debonair ducks. He then hops up and
grabs Christy and kicks her in the ribs. He attempts a vertical suplex, but
Christy spins through before landing behind Debonair. She then grabs him and
takes him over with a back suplex. Debonair winces and rolls over and starts to
get up. Debonair turns back to Christy and Christy then cracks him with a
superkick.
Sharper: “Shades of the man
she talked to to get this match! A superkick.”
Knots: “Pfft...already better than CHBK’s.”
Christy slowly starts to stir
as Debonair stirs and rolls over. He grabs at the ropes and slowly starting to
pull himself up. He then turns back to Christy and Christy kicks him in the
ribs and then spikes him with the Happily (N)Ever
After. The crowd ohs and Christy rolls Debonair over and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd roars and boos a bit
as Christy rolls over and starts to pull herself up. She then glances back at
the former Underground Champion before smiling and then starting to walk forward
and exits the ring.
Knots: “That’s how you do it. Just impressive.”
Sharper: “And in her singles
debut, she beats the former Underground Champion. It rarely gets better than
that!”
Christy takes a deep breath
and smiles as she starts to walk towards the back. Debonair starts to stir in
the ring as we go backstage.
Backstage, we see David Helms
watching a television in one of the hallways and shaking his head before turning
it off and turning around and he stops before the camera pans out showing
Brayden Walker standing next to him.
Helms: “Brayden...”
Walker: “Sorry to startle
you.”
Helms: “Not at all. Can I help
you?”
Walker: “Actually yes. As you
know I’m intending to continue on in the Underground Championship ranks-“
Helms: “Look. I’m done with
that. I had my wake up call at Tactical Warfare. I don’t need to get a scare
like that again.”
Walker: “I can respect that.
But then what are you looking to do? Because I was going to ask for your
advice, but seeing as you’re no longer involved, I guess I wouldn’t have the
honour to learn from someone who is definitely skilled in the area, along with
competing with someone who should deserve respect in the field.”
Helms: “Well I’m honoured bro,
but sorry-“
Walker: “What if we took what
you’re looking to do and came up with a compromise.”
Helms: “Hmmm....I’m
interested.”
Walker smiles.
Walker: “Good. How about we
discuss things?”
Helms: “Sounds good. But
you’re buying the beer.”
Helms chuckles as the two walk
off and the scene fades to black.
COMMERCIAL:
Rachel Foxx vs. Jake Starr
The silhouette fades, and the
words "THE SUICIDE QUEEN" appear in jagged letters, and then fade.
More lightning strikes illuminate a picture of Rachel's eyes, and then fade
into the words "RACHEL FOXX". As the intro reaches its climax, we
hear a sadistic female laugh. The intro ends and loud guitars begin blaring
over the speakers as blue pyros shoot up in front of the entrance. After a few
moments, Rachel Foxx walks out the wall of blue sparks with Alex Desoubrais Jr.
with her. The sparks fade and the house lights return, casting an eerie blue
glow over the entire arena. Rachel takes a deep breath, plasters an evil grin
on her lips, as Alex Desoubrais Jr. stands next to her and looks at her
admiringly. They then begin to walk to the ring. The crowd boos, but they
ignore them as they slowly swagger down the ramp. As they reach the ring, Alex
Jr. hurries up the steps and holds the ropes open as Rachel slowly makes her
way into the ring. Rachel climbs the turnbuckle and raises her arms in the air
as a wall of fire shoots up behind her, as Alex Desoubrais Jr. supports her.
Evil burns in her eyes as she tilts her head back and releases a sadistic
laugh. After a few moments, the flames die down, and Rachel hops off the
turnbuckle.
Dawson: “I don’t know if it’s
good or bad to see these two together.”
Knots: “How can you say that?”
Sharper: “I would say somewhat
good. Alex Desoubrais Jr. justify his actions from
four weeks ago, stating that he’s looking out for Rachel’s best interests. A surprisingly thing coming from Alex Jr. given his history of
being headstrong.”
Dawson: “But Rachel need someone to keep her in check. The last few weeks, she’s
been losing it and going off on anyone and everyone.”
Knots: “And next to Jake
Starr. Oh yeah...this is going to be fun.”
The arena goes dark, with just
the sounds of the crowds and the flashes of the cameras. With the first chord
of "Sandstorm" by Darude, two green spotlights shoot to the stage. As
the song hits the post, fireworks erupt from the stage, and from behind the
curtain emerges Jake Starr. Upon first stepping onto the stage, Starr pauses to
immerse himself in the electricity of the fans. He smirks as he looks around
the arena. He walks down towards the ring, slapping the occasional outstretched
hand of the fans around the ring. He quickly ascends the steps and enters the
ring. Upon entering the ring he walks to the opposite corner and steps up to
the middle turnbuckle. He once again cocks a smirk. The crowd reacts to his
presence with a majority of cheers, and scattered boos. He points towards the
crowd, and shows his appreciation by tapping his chest with the fist he had
extended. He proceeds to repeat that gesture on the remaining turnbuckles, and
finally settles in the ring.
Sharper: “And Jake Starr
looking to see what he can do. Arguably the only person on the roster similar
to Josh Hudson in viciousness is the Suicide Queen herself, Rachel Foxx.”
Knots: “But really, do you
want to do this? All he’s showing is that he’s arrogant or a masochist.”
Dawson: “Maybe he just wants
to make a point.”
Sharper: “Looks like he’s
going to make a verbal point too.”
Starr walks over and asks for
the microphone from SCW Announcer Jason Phillips. He takes it and smiles before
sticking his hand up in Rachel’s general direction.
Starr: “Just hold on there
Carver Christy. I’ll let you try to play off your fantasies regarding yours
truly before bopping your boyfriend in the head with a sledgehammer in a
minute. Just play with yourself for a moment, I need to explain a few things to
Josh Hudson since much like yourself, you run off of pure rage and often just
forget about a little thing called reality.”
Starr walks around as Rachel
just glares at Starr, fuming. Alex Jr. however holds her back.
Knots: “Oh come on! Let her
go!”
Starr just smirks.
Starr: “See, Josh, after
listening to what you’ve been saying for a while now and watching you manage to
get past Jason Zero, the fact of the matter remains that I think I need to
point something out to you. Last Breakdown we heard you come out here, wasting
all these people’s time by talking about how you’re going to end me at Rise to
Greatness, send everyone home unhappy and then retire off into the sunset. That’s
nice, but much like Rachel Foxx in porn, not too many people want
to see it!”
Rachel just glares at Starr
and Alex Jr. holds her back still.
Starr: “But more importantly,
I was thinking about you talking about that time and time again and it would be
great for you to do it, but I’m sorry Josh...I just can’t see it happening.
Why? Well, it’s you saying it. Yeah, you’ve gotten some huge wins. But Josh...how many times have you made a big claim and then
failed to back it up? You said you were going to make CHBK tap. Did you? No!
You said you were going to make it so it was going to be you and me at Taking
Hold of the Flame. Did you? No! And now you’re going to end me....third times
the charm? Heh.....just like Rachel....Daniel Ackart....Asher Hayes....and now
Alex Jr....apparently getting kicked in the face doesn’t make you lucky with
love.”
Starr then turns around and
Alex Jr. drops down as Rachel runs at Starr and Starr turns and drills her in
the head with the microphone. He then turns and tosses it aside as the referee
calls for the bell just after the shot. Rachel rolls over and gets up and Starr
kicks her in the ribs and then takes her over with a snap suplex. He rolls over
and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Rachel kicks out. She rolls over
and starts to get up as Starr gets back to his feet. Rachel turns and Starr
knees her in the ribs. He then whips her into the ropes. Rachel bounces off the
ropes and Starr lifts her up and drops back, dropping her throat first on the
top rope. Rachel falls back and Starr rolls over. He then gets up and smirks
before walking over to the corner. He then springboards to
the top rope and turns back to the ring. He steadies himself, but Rachel
then runs over and dropkicks the legs out from under Starr and Starr hits hard
on the top turnbuckle before rolling down to the mat. Starr holds himself in
pain.
Knots: “Oh yeah. That’s how
you do it. Do it a few more times while you’re at it. May teach the bastard
some respect.”
Sharper: “Starr went to the
top rope a bit early and Rachel took advantage. She may be a bit all over the
place, but she’s a former title contender. She’s very dangerous.”
Starr starts to get up and
Rachel gets up and clubs him in the back. She then clubs him again before
turning and throwing him into the corner. Rachel walks over and kicks him in
the ribs before nailing him with a hard forearm and then another. She then steps over and starts to bite Jake Starr in the head.
Jake yells in pain and the referee calls for the break.
Rachel then rips away and walks around. Jake holds his head, checking for
blood. He then walks forward and Rachel jumps up and dropkicks him in the jaw.
She then turns and goes for the pin.
1!

Starr gets his shoulder off
the canvas and starts to roll over. Rachel starts to pull herself up and grabs
Starr and Starr slowly gets up only for Rachel to nail him with a hard forearm.
Starr staggers back and Rachel falls back into the ropes behind her and nails
Starr with a spinning heel kick. Rachel then rolls through and walks over to
the corner, exiting to the apron before starting to climb up to the top rope.
Sharper: “And now Rachel Foxx
going high risk.”
Dawson: “This didn’t work for
Starr, but Starr’s just getting up. Rachel may succeed here.”
Starr gets up and turns to
Rachel and Rachel dives off and nails him with a missile dropkick. The crowd
boos and Rachel rolls over and crawls to Starr before hooking the leg.

Starr gets his shoulder up.
Rachel looks up and smacks the canvas in anger. She then turns and looks at
Starr before diving on top of him and starting to hammer away on him. Starr
covers up and Rachel gets off of him. She then gets up and walks around as
Starr starts to get up. Rachel then turns back to Starr and goes to grab him,
only for Starr to grab her by the waistline of her tights and pull her through
the ropes and to the floor. Rachel slowly gets up on the floor and Alex Jr.
starts to walk around and Starr then slingshots over the top rope and onto the
middle rope before diving back and hitting an Asai moonsault onto Rachel Foxx.
The crowd cheers and Starr rolls over before getting up and looking out at the
crowd and smiling.
Sharper: “Asai moonsault to
the floor! Jake Starr using what brought him to the dance!”
Knots: “Taking a stupid risk.
Had he injured himself, Hudson would’ve lost the chance to end his so-called
dominance!”
Starr gets up and looks at
Alex Jr. as he watches Starr pick up Rachel and roll her back into the ring.
Starr hops onto the apron and Rachel starts to stir and Starr slingshots
himself back into the ring and hits a leg drop. He turns and goes for the pin.

Rachel gets her shoulder up.
She then rolls over and Starr gets up and then grabs Rachel and slowly drags
her up. He then turns and throws her into the corner. Starr then kicks Rachel
in the ribs before kicking her again. He then goes to whip her out of the
corner, only for Rachel to spin through and pull Starr in and into a cutter.
Starr rolls over in pain and Rachel slowly stirs. Rachel throws her arm over
Starr.

Starr kicks out. Rachel rolls
off and sits up. She then looks around before getting up. Starr starts to stir
as well.
Sharper: “Rachel’s starting to
get that glimmer in her eye. She’s starting to get frustrated.”
Knots: “Well Starr, nice knowing you. She’s going to take another victim!”
Dawson: “And who knows what
she’ll do. She’s taken out officials, attacked Alex Desoubrais Jr. and nearly
destroyed a man with a sledgehammer. What next?”
Knots: “That’s just in the
last six weeks!”
Rachel gets up and walks over
to Alex Desoubrais Jr. She just snaps at him and Alex Jr. just looks at her
calmly before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a spiked pair of brass
knuckles. The crowd roars and Rachel gets up and turns back to the referee
before raising her fist up to strike him. The referee falls back, dodging a
potential hit. Starr gets up and Rachel runs towards him and then attempts a
hard right, but Starr ducks and then pulls her down with a neckbreaker. The
crowd roars and Starr rolls over and then looks around before springboarding to
the top turnbuckle. He turns around and then dives forward and hits the
Shooting Five Star. The crowd ohs and Starr hooks the
leg.

The crowd roars as Jake then rolls
off as Rachel still as the brass knuckles on her hand. Jake gets up and smirks
before looking around. The referee raises his arm.
Dawson: “Jake Starr returns
the message to Josh Hudson with a win of his own!”
Knots: “Give me a break. The
referee should’ve gotten rid of the brass knuckles first.”
Sharper: “Rachel Foxx brought
them in. She’s lucky she wasn’t disqualified!”
Jake then drops down and exits
to the floor. He smiles as he walks around the ring with a bit of a swagger.
Rachel starts to stir as Alex hops onto the apron and then starts to enter the
ring. Rachel stirs, holding her ribs and Alex walks over and slowly helps her
up. Starr continues to the back as the crowd cheers him. Suddenly, Alex Jr. is
pushed forward, causing him to lose his balance. Rachel turns around and Jason
Zero is seen in the ring quickly grabbing her and dropping her with the Chaos
Theory. The crowd ohs and Alex Jr. gets back up and turns and dives at Jason
Zero, who quickly rolls out of the ring and drops down to the floor. He backs
away as Alex Jr. stays over Rachel, glaring at Zero. Zero just smiles before
quickly starting to breathe heavily, enjoying his work. Starr stands at the top
of the entrance way, glancing back confused as the crowd just starts to buzz
before we to commercials.
COMMERCIAL:
Zero starts to walk back
towards his locker room backstage as the crowd roars upon seeing him. SCW
interviewer Jackson Kole runs up to him with a microphone in his hand.
Kole: “Jason! Jason!”
Zero stops and turns to Kole.
Kole: “Why did you attack
Rachel Foxx? You have no history with her.”
Jason just smiles before
turning to Kole and chuckling a bit.
Zero: “Why explain chaos?”
Zero then turns and walks off
as Kole just watches him leave a bit confused. We then return to ringside.
Dawson: “Why explain chaos?
Zero just attacked Rachel Foxx for no reason.”
Knots: “Exactly. The guy’s nuts. He’ll just do whatever he wants. Does anyone
stop him? No. But they go after Rachel!”
All is dark and Air raid
sirens fill the arena, a spotlight drifts around as typing on a keyboard can be
heard, words scroll across the video screen
INITIATING THE “NEXT LEVEL” PROGRAM….
The sirens continue along with sounds of gunfire before the tapping on the
keyboard starts again
PATCHING WITH THE "BROTHERHOOD" EXPANSION...
The background sounds continue, then more words.
SUBJECT: THORN…
The background noise echoes loudly around the arena, becoming almost deafening
as tapping on the keyboard can be heard one last time.
EVALUATION: DEADLY…
The gunfire and sirens halt and all is silent before
two green fireworks shoot from the rafters and explode on the ramp. A voice can
be heard echoing around the arena
“I’d Rather Die Than Live Down On My Knees”
The explosion drifts across the ramp before the beginning chords to “Higinia”
by Blessthefall blasts out as the lights flicker back on and Thorn can be seen
on top of the arena, Charlotte by his side as he looks out into the audience
that are cheering loudly, chanting in some cases. He stops and smiles before
cocking his head to the side and holding his arms outwards before making a
beckoning motion with his hands, gesturing for the crowds to cheer louder before
fireworks shoot out at the top of the ramp again in a burst before he resumes
walking down to the ring again. As he walks past the barrier he high fives all
the outstretched palms as Charlotte simply looks on with a proud smile on her
face, waving to the odd fan that catches her attention Thorn walks up the steel
steps and enters the ring. Charlotte follows him. Thorn then straightens the
SCW World Championship that sits on his shoulder and smiles before walking
around the ring and going over to Jason Phillips.
Sharper: “There’s the World
Champion. And last Breakdown, it was made official. He will defend his title
against Greg Cherry at Rise to Greatness.”
Dawson: “And Thorn made it
clear that he’s not sold that Greg Cherry has changed. He wants to undo what
Greg did to him at Retribution.”
Phillips hands Thorn the
microphone and Thorn turns and walks back to the middle of the ring, smiling at
Charlotte before looking out at the crowd. He then straightens his title again
on his shoulder.
Thorn: “After everything that
happened last Breakdown, Greg Cherry coming out here to talk about his huge win
and signing the contract for Rise to Greatness, it occurred to me that I never
got a chance to really enjoy the moment. I’m World Champion! I’m the SCW World
Champion!”
Thorn smiles as the crowd
cheers as Charlotte just smiles at him.
Thorn: “This is what everyone
in this business works too. Last Breakdown proved it. You had Jason Zero,
Christian Savior and Katie Steward all come out and want their shot. Jake Starr,
after the match, jokingly told me that he should get a shot against me, but I
know that’s not jokingly. See, I’m the top guy. The guy who started his career
in other places always coming so close, but not close enough, finally got what
he wanted after all of this time and he’s in the history books. And last
Breakdown, I trudged on. But tonight, I’ve decided...I could be called
arrogant. I could be called conceited. I don’t care. How often do you win a
World Title for the first time in your career?”
The crowd roars as Thorn
smiles.
Thorn: “Sorry, but it only
happens once. And the fact of the matter is that I know for some people it may
never happen again. Greg Cherry for one...he was at the top of his career a few
years ago. And this year, he did all he could to win the title. He even cost me
one. But I’m not going to let him end this ride. This is the best time of my
career so far. I’ve been in huge matches. I’ve been in personal matches. But
I’m now the World Champion. I’m THE top guy. And I’m not going to give that up
easily. See Greg...he may have had a hell of a run a few years back. And he may
be on a hell of a roll by winning the Taking Hold of the Flame battle
royal....but I’m on just as big of a roll. I beat the two hottest people in SCW
today in Josh Hudson and Jake Starr. I beat Justin Davis who everyone thinks
big things are going to happen. I’ve been in some of the biggest matches of my
career lately and I continue to get better and better. And Greg...you’re good.
I know that. But how many more tricks do you have left?”
Thorn pauses and looks down
before looking back up.
Thorn: “Because you keep
saying that you’re moving on from Infection. That you saw that wasn’t the way
to do it. But how do I know? Jake Starr had your number earlier this year and
yet, you bullied your way into my match and arguably cost me the title then.
But since then, you’ve been making it clear that you wanted to get back to this
spot more than anything else. You were saying the same thing back then. It’s
why you sided with that slime. So are you any different? Sorry Greg...but I’m
not going to let my guard down. I’m not going to let you try to pull a fast one
to get what you have publically stated over and over in your career was
something you needed. And in the past, you’ve done all you can to get your
hands on this. There’s no reason to assume you’ll do any different this time.”
Thorn pauses as the crowd
roars a bit before suddenly “Cult of Personality” starts to play throughout the
arena. The crowd erupts in boos as Thorn’s eyes widen and he turns to the
entrance way. He then walks forward towards the ropes.
Sharper: “What?
That’s...that’s Mr. Drachewych’s music!”
Knots: “Yes! OH YES! He’s
back!”
Dawson: “No. Don’t tell me
he’s back!”
The music continues to play as
the crowd continues to boo. Thorn continues to look at the entrance way for a
few moments as no one comes out. Thorn then suddenly realizes a sneak attack
could be in play and he turns around, looking around to see if that’s the case.
However, the music slowly fades out and the crowd starts to boo a bit. Thorn
looks around, continuing to be concerned obviously. This continues for a moment
longer before the opening riffs of “I Will Not Bow” sound throughout the arena.
The crowd roars as Thorn turns back and looks at the entrance way. Greg Cherry
walks out from the back as the crowd cheers. He takes a few steps with a
microphone in his hand. Thorn just looks at Greg, still ready for an attack of
some sort.
Sharper: “And now Greg Cherry
is out here.”
Greg just shakes his head and
looks down at the ring.
Greg: “So is that what you’re
expecting? That music’s gonna play, I’m going to come back out here with
another deal with Satan. I’m going to screw you over as soon as possible?”
Greg just looks down at Thorn.
Greg: “I dropped Drachewych on
his head. I took him out. I took out Drew. I took out Kissinger. I took out
everyone. I went into Taking Hold of the Flame. No one helped me. No one ran
out from the back and started to take people out so I could win. I went into
that match and I managed to outlast everyone else on my own. When I wasn’t in
Tactical Warfare...I didn’t care for it...but I dealt with it. And then I went
into Taking Hold of the Flame and EARNED this shot!”
Greg pauses, clearly angered
by the suggestion.
Greg: “I don’t care if you
trust me. I know you respect what I’ve done. But Thorn, while I will gladly
admit I would do anything to be champion again, I have realized that what I did
in the second half of last year and the first few months of this year....it’s
not going to get me what I want. Drachewych didn’t give me anything. I realized
how wrong I was. And I regret that. But Thorn...you don’t need to look over
your shoulder. Because I’m going to go to Rise to Greatness and I’m going to
beat you, in the middle of the ring, one, two, three.”
Greg brings the microphone
down as “I Will Not Bow” plays throughout the arena again. The crowd roars as
Thorn just takes a few deep breaths, still looking at Greg. Greg just looks
back at Thorn, as the two engage in a brief staredown.
Sharper: “Greg Cherry making
it clear that his ties with Infection are in the past.”
Knots: “But do you blame
Thorn? Just like Ravyn Taylor pointed out earlier, the past may be the past,
but that person always remains!”
Dawson: “Well you got one
there...but all we can do here is take Greg Cherry’s word for it. He was the
one who initiated the
break with Infection. He’s realized that’s not how you get things
done.”
Sharper: “And most importantly,
he stressed the main point. He earned this shot. Just like Thorn earned his
opportunity, and then took advantage of it, to win the World Championship.”
Greg continues to just look at
Thorn for a moment longer before turning around and walking back to the back.
Thorn meanwhile just looks down as Charlotte turns and looks at Thorn as the
scene fades to black.
COMMERCIAL:
Breakdown returns and we open
up in the ring to see Thorn, holding his ribs as a couple of officials helping
him up. Thorn clearly is in pain as Charlotte looks on concerned and grabs his
World Championship. Helms, seemingly no longer discussing matters with Walker,
and Starr jog down to the ring as Thorn slowly and gingerly steps through the
ropes and makes his way down to the floor.
Sharper: “Welcome back to
Breakdown and a shocking moment happened during the commercial break...Here
we’ll show you...”
DURING THE
COMMERCIAL BREAK:
A still
comes up of Thorn just looking down and shaking his head. The video starts to
play as Thorn looks up and the crowd starts to roar. Charlotte then yells at
Thorn and points behind him before Thorn turns around and we see Christian
Savior entering the ring before running at Thorn and drilling him with a hard
spear. Thorn rolls over, in pain and Charlotte immediately goes down to check
on Thorn. Savior rolls over and gets to his feet as the crowd boos. He then
smirks before turning and diving over the top rope and down to the floor before
hopping over the barricade and starting to jog through the crowd.
Dawson: “Christian Savior
struck, hitting that spear right on the SCW World Champion.”
Knots: “Yeah and Savior wanted
to be in the World title match at Rise to Greatness and was turned down.”
Sharper: “But that doesn’t
stop him from targeting the champion. The irony is that this comes after Greg
told him he wouldn’t need to watch his back for Infection.”
Knots: “So is there something
there? Come on? It could. Old Infection and new Infection!”
Sharper: “Stop it. You have no
reason to believe that!”
Thorn continues to make his
way to the back, shaking off the help of the officials as Charlotte follows as
Jake and Helms join him and flank him on either side as he heads to the back.
The scene then cuts backstage
to see Katie Steward standing next to TJ Johnson watching the events on a
monitor. She immediately scoffs.
Katie: “How dare Savior do
something like that? He’s trying to upstage me!”
Johnson: “Um...he just
attacked Thor-“
Katie: “He’s trying to upstage
me! I know people like Savior. They want the spotlight. Just like last week. He
could’ve stayed away, but no, he came out and took the spotlight away from me.
I can’t have that!”
Madison and Gigi Steward walk
away from the back of the locker room, away from Paris Dannon and Robin Brooks
whom were there and start to head to the exit. Katie however quickly turns.
Katie: “Wait!”
Gigi just turns as Madison
jumps up a bit.
Madison: “Yo, what is it?”
Katie: “I’m coming with you
two.”
Johnson: “My Goddess...you
really shouldn’t risk-“
Katie: “I am going out there.
I have to respond to Savior’s obvious attempt to upstage me. No one does that!”
Katie then turns and walks out
in front of Gigi and Madison with Johnson quickly in pursuit. Gigi just rolls
her eyes before Madison smiles.
Madison: “Oh, this should be
fun.”
Gigi: “I guess so.”
Gigi and Madison then follow
Katie as we go back to ringside.
The Racing LaRues vs. Madison
& Gigi Steward
The roaring of two car engines
can be heard as two cars speed into view on the SCWtron. As soon as they
screech to a halt the opening to "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed
Peas begins to kick in.
"Gonna get that...
gonna get that...
gonna get that...
gonna get that that that that..."
As the song comes in full force with the first verse, Marcy LaRue comes from
out of the backstage area. A couple of feet behind her is
her younger brother Jeff. The two both look around the arena before they make
their way down the ramp, all the while taking in the mixed reactions that
they're receiving. Marcy finds that she's getting a lot of cat-calls and cheers
from the guys while Jeff is getting the love from the younger females in the
crowd. Alternately, Jeff is getting heavily booed by the guys while Marcy hears
it pretty badly from the girls.
They both just shake their heads as they finally reach the ring, Jeff a few
split seconds after Marcy. Marcy hops up onto the ring apron and Jeff decides
it best to not tick off his sister. He opens the second and third ropes for her
and allows her to step into the squared circle first. He follows as their music
continues. The two look at one another now and actually give each other a
high-five before each climbing a separate turnbuckle, letting the crowd know that
they're ready to go racing.
As their music begins to fade the two climb down from the turnbuckles and
patiently wait for the match to start, even though both of them roll their eyes
with every passing second.
Sharper: “The Racing LaRues
are going to look to continue their success in the Tag division, but they’re
going to be taking on two individuals far more experienced than they have in
the past so far.”
Dawson: “And Katie Steward is
apparently going to be out here to do something. Who knows what?”
Knots: “Oh great.”
“That’s Just the Way I Am
I Do It Just Because I Can”
“Chemicals React” blares from the speaker system throughout the arena. At the
same time the lights dim with only a single bright pink spotlight shines
towards and lights up the stage.
After a few more minutes of their entrance song has played, Giovanna and
Madison Steward walk proudly and with confidence into the light. Dressed in
matching wrestling attire and their Team Desire jackets, the girl stand
perfectly still as several flashes catch their entrance. Gigi stands underneath
the spotlight with the hood of her jacket covering her head. When she beings to
blow kisses to the fans, Madison starts to motions with her arms raised and
clapping over her head to the get the fans riled up and get them to show their
support by screaming louder. The girls stop and pose for their fans giving them
a few seconds for a quick photo session before continuing their way to the
ring. Katie Steward and TJ Johnson walk out behind them and Katie stops and
poses as TJ steps back and shows her off.
Gigi and Maddy raise their arms in the air then grab the other’s hand as they
venture down the entrance ramp together. At the bottom of the ramp they break
the connection and run to separate s of the security barrier where the fans are
waiting eagerly with their hands out just waiting and hoping for the girls will
greet them with some Hi-Fives. After a brief networking with the crowd, Gigi
runs and shows off her flexibility by springing up onto the the apron before
steps through the ropes entering the ring. Maddy meanwhile finishes interacting
with their admirers at ringside getting a few more seconds with them before she
notices that Gigi is ready for the match. Maddy turns around and slides into
the ring to re-join her partner, Gigi. Katie just follows looking around as TJ
Johnson stands right next to her.
Once both are inside the ring, the girls head to the opposing
corners. Simultaneously, they both jump onto the middle rope. Gigi
removes the hood of her jacket off her head and smiles at the audience. The
team both throw their arms in the air and pose for the fans while they are
almost blinded by the hundreds of flash bulbs. After several minutes of fan
appreciation, the girls meet in one corner and lean against the rope, chatting
quietly as they wait for the match to begin.
Knots: “At least we don’t get
TJ bothering us.”
Sharper: “I guess he’s going
to protect Katie Steward. But I don’t know. Regardless, Gigi and Madison are
the focus for the Stewards, not Katie.”
Dawson: “Don’t let Katie hear
you say that.”
The bell sounds and Madison
starts in the ring with Marcy. Jeff reluctantly exits the ring as Madison and
Marcy move forward and Madison spins around Marcy and grabs her in a side
headlock. Katie nods in approval before Marcy pulls Madison back and then fires
her into the ropes. Madison bounces off the ropes and Marcy knocks Madison down
with a back elbow. Madison gets back up and Marcy grabs her and nails her with
a forearm before wrenching the arm. Madison winces and rolls forward before
rolling back and then flipping forward and wrenching Marcy’s arm. Marcy then
nails Madison with a forearm before then jumping up and dropkicking Madison
down. Madison rolls over and slowly starts to stir again only for Marcy to grab
Madison and whip her into the ropes again. Madison bounces off the ropes and
Marcy goes to grab her, but Madison jumps up and hits a monkey flip.
Sharper: “Nice move by
Madison. Quick little move that takes Marcy off
guard.”
Dawson: “She’s quick and
she’ll do some damage. She’s still young and bit inexperienced though.”
Knots: “Same with Marcy and
Jeff. So who cares there.”
Marcy gets back up and Madison
grabs her and snapmares her over. Madison then gets up and reaches over,
tagging in Gigi. The crowd cheers and Gigi climbs up to the
top rope. Marcy starts to get up and Gigi dives forward and nails her
with a flying clothesline. She then turns and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Marcy kicks out. Gigi turns as
Marcy starts to stir. Gigi grabs her and drags her up before kneeing her in the
ribs. Gigi whips Marcy into the ropes, but Marcy grabs
onto the ropes and stops before turning and tagging in Jeff. The crowd boos as
Jeff enters the ring and Gigi looks at him, stepping back a bit. Jeff smiles
and then runs at Gigi and Gigi ducks a clothesline attempt. He turns around and
Gigi jumps up and dropkicks him down.
Dawson: “Jeff thought he had
an advantage but got a bit cocky there.”
Sharper: “Don’t count out Gigi
Steward. She’s a spitfire and she’s going to shock you. She’s also a bit more
level-headed than Katie.”
Katie smiles as she looks on;
Johnson continues to look around concerned. Jeff gets up and Gigi kicks him in
the ribs. She then pushes him into the corner. Gigi nails him with a hard
forearm and then another before climbing up to the middle rope and nailing Jeff
with a hard right and then another, but Jeff then lifts her up before running
forward and hitting a spinebuster. The crowd ohs as Gigi winces and rolls over.
Jeff then grabs Gigi and lifts her up before hoisting her up and then dropping
her down with a front suplex. He then rolls her over and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Gigi gets her shoulder up. She
rolls over and Jeff smirks and grabs her and clubs her in the back. He then
nails her with a hard right and whips her into the ropes. Gigi bounces off the
ropes and Jeff lifts her up onto his shoulders and falls back with a Samoan
drop. He smirks and then runs into the ropes. He bounces off them and Gigi
starts to get up. Jeff hits a running knee, knocking her down. Katie snaps at
the referee before hopping onto the apron. The crowd boos and Jeff then turns
and goes towards Katie. TJ pleads with Katie to drop down.
Sharper: “Katie now getting
involved, standing on the paron.”
Knots: “Well just kick her out
from ringside. That’s sure to get a fun response!”
The referee and Jeff both turn
their attempt to Katie and just as Jeff goes to reach Katie, Katie lets out her
Goddess Scream. Jeff and the referee both turn away in pain and Katie drops
down as Gigi jumps up and hits the backcracker on Jeff. Jeff rolls over in pain
and Gigi rolls over and reaches towards Madison. The crowd roars as Marcy and
Madison both reach out for the tags. Gigi reaches out and tags in Madison as
Jeff tags in Marcy. Both enter the ring and Marcy runs at Madison and Madison
ducks a clothesline attempt and Madison jumps up and grabs Marcy, pulling her
down with a reverse DDT. Marcy rolls over and Madison
quickly goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Marcy kicks out. Madison rolls
over and gets up. Marcy slowly stirs and Madison grabs her and takes her over
with a snap suplex. Madison then rolls over and goes to the corner, exiting to
the apron and then climbing up to the top rope. Jeff starts to walk along the
apron, still holding his back in pain and Madison turns her attention to her
just long enough for Marcy to get up and grab Madison before press slamming her
off the top rope to the middle of the ring.
Dawson: “And Jeff LaRue doing
enough to distract Madison and Marcy can take advantage.”
Sharper: “That may be the
gamechanger right there.”
Knots: “Yeah, thanks to the
LaRues, yet again, taking advantage of the rules.”
Madison winces and starts to get
up and Marcy grabs her and knees her in the ribs. She then spins her around and
hooks her up. She then drops her with an implant DDT. Madison stirs as Marcy
turns and runs into the ropes. TJ Johnson, however, trips her up. The referee
turns and runs over to TJ only for Katie to roll into the ring. Gigi quickly
enters the ring too and Katie runs up behind Marcy and grabs her by the arms
before spinning her down with the Platinum Blonde. Jeff starts to enter and
Gigi runs over and dropkicks him, knocking him through the ropes and to the
floor. Gigi then quickly rolls out of the ring as Katie exits as well. Madison
meanwhile crawls over and goes for the pin as TJ stops putting up resistance
against the referee. The referee turns around and sees the pin as a barrage of mixed reactions come from all over the arena.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd roars as Madison
rolls off of Marcy.
Sharper: “I don’t believe it. The Stewards as a whole coming together and defeating the LaRues.”
Knots: “Ha! For once I love
this. They outdid the LaRues at the numbers game. More Stewards, better for
them! I love it!”
Dawson: “And Gigi and Madison
Steward get a big win in the Tag Team Division.”
Sharper: “I guess that was
Katie’s rebuttal to Savior. I don’t know if it was quite as powerful though...”
Jeff looks up as Madison gets
up and Gigi re-enters the ring and they have their arms raised in victory. He
just shakes his head as Marcy remains down, just starting to stir. Katie just
smiles as she turns to TJ and TJ just turns and applauds her. Katie continues
to admire what she did before we go backstage.
The crowd roars as we see CHBK
walking into the arena. He can be seen in his suit and tie, along with
sunglasses as he walks down the hallway. Jessica Winters, seemingly hearing of his
arrive tries to get a word with CHBK, but CHBK just walks past her, before
smirking slightly and continuing.
Sharper: “Oh boy. CHBK is
here. I can tell you this. Things are going to explode any moment now! Don’t go
anywhere!”
COMMERCIAL:
Darkside vs. Mayhem
The lights dim and Clint
Mansell's "Lux Aeterna" hits out around the Arena. The sick and sadistic music
is then assisted by the Dark Warrior walking slowly down the aisle towards the
ring, looking immense, looking focused and looking ready. He walks into the
ring slowly taking his leather coat off, to reveal his tattooed, well built
body.
Sharper: “Darkside back and
it’s been odd because he’s been coming and going from SCW. He’s here one week
and not the next.”
Knots: “I don’t know what to
say about that, but when he’s here. He kicks ass. So who really cares?”
“Get Up” by 50 Cent starts to
play and takes over the surround system. Blue flashing lights start to beam
down the entrance ramp as Mayhem walks through the curtains. Mayhem gazes at
the fans for a second and wastes no time making his way down the ring. Halfway
down, he rubs his face with his hands and looks up to the sky. He mumbles
something before climbing the steel steps. Once he enters the ring through the
second rope he begins to start warming up near the ropes. He doesn’t make much
eye contact with the fans rather he solely focuses on his opponent’s arrival.
Sharper: “This will be a more
in Mayhem’s general skill type. Both are brawlers. And this is also Darkside’s
biggest challenge yet.”
Knots: “And Mayhem is looking
to come back after last show’s match against the US Champion. He wants to get
his first win since returning.”
Darkside looks to Mayhem and
Mayhem just looks at him. The two continue to lock eyes before the bell sounds
and Mayhem and Darkside move towards each other and both drill each other with
a hard right. Both stagger back and Darkside then knees Mayhem in the ribs. He
nails him with a hard right and then a back chop before going to whip Mayhem
into the ropes. Mayhem, however, spins through and sends Darkside into the
ropes. Darkside bounces off and just shoulders Mayhem down. Mayhem rolls over
and gets up and Darkside runs forward and pushes him back into the ropes.
Mayhem hits the ropes and Darkside drills him with a forearm before nailing him
with another. Mayhem turns around and spins into the corner and Darkside turns
and nails him with a back elbow to the jaw and then another and another. .
Dawson: “This is just like we thought, it’s not going to be pretty.”
Knots: “And Mayhem’s face is slowly
being turned to mush with repeatedly blows to the face!”
Darkside backs away as the
referee starts to count and then drills Mayhem with a big elbow to the jaw. He
backs away and Mayhem walks out of the corner before Darkside scoops him up and
slams him with a sidewalk slam. He then goes for the pin.

Mayhem gets his shoulder up.
He rolls over and starts to stir as Darkside gets back up. Mayhem turns back to
Darkside and Darkside kicks him in the ribs before whipping him into the ropes.
Mayhem bounces off the ropes before jumping up and taking Darkside down with a
flying shoulder block. Darkside rolls over and slowly starts to get up only to
turn to Mayhem and Mayhem scoops him up and slams him down.
Dawson: “And here comes
Mayhem. Mayhem powering up Darkside and dropping him.”
Sharper: “As we said, Darkside
can brawl, but so can Mayhem!”
Darkside starts to get up
again and Mayhem clubs him in the back. He then clubs him again before turning
and whipping him into the ropes. Darkside bounces off the ropes and Mayhem
scoops him up and powerslams him down. He then hooks the leg.

Darkside kicks out. Mayhem
gets up before slowly starting to get up. Darkside starts to get up and Mayhem
stomps him in the back. Darkside rolls over and gets to the ropes. Mayhem then
walks over and stomps him again. Darkside gets to the ropes and rolls over to a
seated position. Mayhem then places his foot against the throat of Darkside. He
pushes down and Darkside struggles to breathe, grabbing the ropes for leverage.
The referee calls for the break and counts to four before Mayhem steps off. He
then walks around. Darkside rolls over and starts to get up, getting to his
feet. He then turns around and Mayhem runs over and clotheslines him down.
Dawson: “Mayhem taking down
Darkside and showing some aggression.”
Sharper: “Great to see. Last
time Mayhem was in SCW, he was more concerned about playing to the fans than
wrestling a good match.”
Knots: “Yet if anyone else did
that you’d be getting on his case.”
Sharper: “Regardless of what I
want to say, that is dirty, but he did it within the rules!”
Darkside starts to stir, but
Mayhem drops a leg before rolling over and going for the pin.

Darkside kicks out. He starts
to stir and Mayhem grabs him and starts to hoist him back up. He then nails him
with a hard right to the ribs before whipping him back across the ring and into
the corner. Mayhem turns and runs after him and jumps up for a body avalanche,
but Darkside moves out of the way. Mayhem stumbles back and Darkside grabs him
and drops him with a neckbreaker. Mayhem rolls over and Darkside rolls over and
drives the point of his elbow down into the back of Mayhem’s head. Mayhem rolls
over and starts to stir. Darkside pulls himself up and grabs Mayhem before
hoisting him up and hitting a belly to back suplex. Mayhem rolls through and
holds his head in pain. Darkside then gets up and smirks as he turns back to
Mayhem. Mayhem pulls himself up to his knees and Darkside drills him with a
boot to the face. Mayhem falls back and Darkside walks around. He then looks
over at Mayhem.
Knots: “Well Mayhem, this may
not be your night either.”
Dawson: “Darkside has turned
up his aggression level too and has just hit a series over hard hitting moves.
Mayhem doesn’t even have time to react.”
Mayhem stirs and slowly lifts
himself up. Darkside then walks over and grabs him, but Mayhem suddenly grabs
him and goes for the Mayhem Finisher, but Darkside elbows his way out. He then
grabs Mayhem and whips him into the ropes. Mayhem bounces off the ropes and
Darkside runs into the next side and jumps up and drills Mayhem with the
Inevitable. Mayhem rolls back and actually rolls right out of the ring.
Darkside gets up and goes to keep on Mayhem, but sees him on the floor as the
referee starts to count.

up in the ring. He then stumbles forward and rolls back in. He then gets up as
the referee calls for the bell. Mayhem then dares Darkside in as he stumbles
forward. Darkside just looks at him and smirks before slowly exiting the ring.
The crowd boos Darkside as Mayhem just watches him leave. Darkside drops down
to the floor and starts to walk around the ring.
Dawson: “Mayhem was ready to
keep going.”
Knots: “Darkside did what he
wanted to do. He won and that tackle again taking another victim.”
Dawson: “But Mayhem’s still
going. I don’t know how pleased Darkside can be with that. Every other time,
he’s hit someone with it, they stayed down. Mayhem got back up.”
Mayhem just continues to watch
Darkside as he walks over to the rampway and starts to walk towards the back.
Mayhem drops to a knee still feeling the effects of the shot.
The scene opens backstage to
see Thorn sitting up on the trainer’s table, getting his ribs taped.
Thorn: “This really isn’t
necessary, doc!”
Helms: “Tommy...just relax.
Let him do his job.”
Thorn: “Yeah, well, I’ve taken
spears before and I’ll take them again.”
Starr just stands in the back
as Helms continues to try and negotiate with his friend just as Greg Cherry
steps in the room. Thorn notices him and Starr then moves forward, standing
between Greg and Thorn.
Thorn: “What are you doing
here?”
Greg: “Are you okay? I saw
what that coward did.”
Thorn: “Sure you did. How do I
know you didn’t ask him to do it?”
Greg: “Thorn...you don’t think-“
Starr: “Greg....leave.”
Greg just glares at his former
rival before looking up at Thorn and shaking his head before throwing his hands
up in the air and then walking off. Thorn then slides off the table and winces
a bit before starting to leave the office as we go to commercials.

Breakdown returns to ringside
and darkness engulfs the arena as we hear the eerie sound of something tapping
against glass. After a few moments there comes a whisper in the sound of a
woman’s voice of one short, iconic word – “NEVERMORE”. With that “Open Your Eyes”
by Guano Apes blasts across the PA system as the lights come back up again and
the screens fill with text.

After a few moments the curtains part and Ravyn Taylor makes her way out on to
the stage now with Marcus King as she makes her way down to the ring with a
great deal of urgency. Taking no time to get to the ring, King jogs down behind
her. Ravyn then hops onto the apron before looking around and then entering the
ring. She walks across the ring and immediately grabs the microphone as Marcus
King enters the ring.
Dawson: “And here’s Ravyn
again and I’m sure she knows of CHBK’s arrival.”
Sharper: “She’s been waiting
for him for the days now and this is her opportunity to confront him.”
Ravyn turns around and
immediately walks towards the middle of the ring.
Ravyn: “Alright Alex. I know
you’re here. I don’t care if you’re trying to duck us or not. Get out here,
because it seems to me that someone needs to show you what respect is. And given that you’re not talking to anyone, I figure
you’ll be more than happy to try and verbally undress me in front of the world.
And Sasha, I hope you’re just watching this.”
The crowd roars and boos a bit
and Ravyn starts to pace a bit as Marcus King is here.
Ravyn: “Don’t let Mr. King in
any way intimidate you. He’s here to ensure that you don’t try to do anything
foolish.”
Ravyn continues to wait as
Marcus smirks a bit, standing behind her.
Dawson: “This is the first time
we’ve seen Marcus King actually in the ring when Ravyn Taylor stood up to
CHBK.”
Knots: “Well after what
happened to Syren a couple of weeks ago, do you blame her?”
Ravyn keeps waiting as the
crowd boos Ravyn and a “CHBK!” chant begins. Ravyn looks around, glaring at the
crowd. She shakes her head before suddenly the lights dim slightly and a
spotlight points down at the centre of the stage. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele
hits the PA system as the screens come alive.

After a few moments the curtains part as Syren makes her way on to the stage,
the SCW Women’s Championship over her shoulder, dressed in her wrestling gear.
She looks around confused.
Dawson: “Syren? Why is she
coming out here?”
Ravyn looks equally confused
and Syren comes down to the ring. She looks around as several cat calls come
from the crowd. She walks over to the steel steps and walks up them as Marcus
King walks over and holds the ropes open for her. Syren then steps into the ring
and looks around as her music starts to fade and Ravyn walks over to her.
Ravyn: “What are you doing
here?”
Syren just shrugs clearly
confused about what’s going on. She shakes her head as well as Ravyn just rolls
her eyes and suddenly “This is How a Heart Breaks”
plays throughout the arena. The crowd erupts in cheers as Ravyn then turns her
attention to the stage.
Sharper: “What an ovation for
Toronto’s own, CHBK!”
Dawson: “The loudest ovation
I’ve ever heard a commissioner getting!”
The crowd continues to cheer
as Ravyn just locks her eyes to the stage and we then see CHBK walk out from
the back, causing a momentary explosion of further cheers. CHBK looks out at
the crowd and smirks as he looks around and paces along the stage before
turning and walking back to the middle of the ramp.
CHBK: “Well good, the gangs
all out here. See, originally, I was going to be in a giving mood. I wanted to
give these fans in Toronto a hell of a show, but also, on top of that, I wanted
to give you, Ravyn, another opportunity.”
Dawson: “What?”
CHBK smirks as he pauses for a
moment. Ravyn then glances at Syren. Syren continues to look completely
confused.
CHBK: “As you’re probably
figuring out Ravyn now and probably in say...a few days, Syren will....”
Knots: “Come on!”
CHBK: “...I was thinking about
giving the world the first ever meeting between Ravyn Taylor and Syren for the
SCW Women’s Championship. But then, I quickly realized that you Ravyn, looking
to remain undefeated and also looking to keep the Women’s Championship with
your friend, probably you’d just exit the ring and go for a double countout. I
could have gotten a cage or made things no holds barred, but to be honest, I
think then I would be pushing it.”
CHBK pauses again as he turns
back to the ring. Ravyn just continues to glare at him. Syren, meanwhile turns
to Ravyn and can be clearly seen asking “What’s going on?”
CHBK: “Especially since you’ve
caught wind of things. See, the reason I have Syren out here Ravyn is to teach
you a bit of a lesson. See, earlier tonight, you showed the world what I was
like five years ago. You’ve been trying to drive that lesson into Sasha. Yet
you forget something. She knows. These fans know. Everyone here knows about
that already. That’s why I am here. Because I will do
whatever I need to to run SCW effectively. Just like you’ll do whatever
you need to to make your point.”
Ravyn: “I guess I won’t need
to do anything since you’re making my point quite clearly to everyone right
now. You’re a manipulative son of a bitch who has a probably with people who
intimidate him.”
CHBK laughs as the crowd boos.
CHBK: “Intimidate? You think
that’s what I am of you. You think that I’m quaking in my boots because you
have a high IQ and like to flaunt it. Hardly. You’re the
one that instigated everything. And given that whenever someone is hired to a
company, the persons in charge are allowed to gain certain information to
ensure that their employees are the best hires. And while your intelligence and
craftiness were what helped you get hired, along with your past affiliation
with Majestic and work there...I also received some information that clearly
illustrated to me that you have two distinct issues...you have a problem with
boundaries....and you have a problem with authority.”
Ravyn: “You have no right...”
CHBK: “Actually I do. The
mental health of all of SCW’s employees is something we’re entitled to review
to ensure that our partnership with you is worthwhile. Now I’m not going to go
into details, but Ravyn, just consider Occam’s Razor
for a moment. Because I know enough about you...and I can assume enough from
Syren, that neither of you are used to hearing the word no.”
Syren finally steps forward
and takes the microphone away from Ravyn.
Syren: “So...why am I here? I
don’t mind you. I didn’t do anything to you! Maybe I put some panties in your
locker room, but I thought it would be funny because I thought you and Ravyn
were like....playing jokes on each other. Like a competition!”
Ravyn then calms Syren down as
CHBK smiles.
CHBK: “I’ll allow Ravyn to
explain. Especially since, well, Ravyn....I’m going to show you what I am
capable of...since you’re so clearly trying to get that across.”
CHBK then turns and looks up
to the big screen as Ravyn suddenly turns away from Syren. Syren just looks up
as well as the lights dim.
The video opens by showing a nice sunny afternoon scene
as CHBK can be seen, wearing a suit and tie, along with some sunglasses,
walking up a beautiful stone driveway.
CHBK: “Nice day out here in Florida. Great
weather. I may have to enjoy some time on the beach.”
CHBK smirks as he walks up to the door of a large house.
At this point, we cut back to
the ring to see Ravyn in shock as Syren moves over to the ropes.
CHBK straightens out his appearance before knocking
ringing the doorbell. He smiles as he waits patiently for a moment. The door
then opens and an older gentleman steps forward.
Man: “Yes?”
The scene opens up back in the
arena.
Syren: “Daddy?”
Ravyn: “You son of a bitch-“
CHBK: “Cut their mic!”
Ravyn keeps talking, only for
the microphone to immediately be cut off.
CHBK: “Hi. My name is Alex Desoubrais. I’m the
Commissioner of Supreme Championship Wrestling.”
Syren’s father: “Oh. So you run that horrible company
that my daughter has seemingly felt constitutes a career?”
CHBK: “Not run. But I am in a position of power. Do you
mind if I come in? I have an issue to discuss with you.”
Syren’s father:“What would I
possibly have to discuss with you?”
CHBK: “It’s about your daughter’s safety. As you would
know, all of the medical matters that any of our talent undergo
is sent to our office. While I cannot discuss specifics-“
Syren’s father:“I know of the
matters.”
CHBK just smiles.
CHBK: “Perfect. Do you mind if we then discuss your
daughter then?”
Syren’s father:“Sure...but...are
the cameras necessary?”
CHBK: “They are for documentation purposes. I’m sure you
can understand the need to document everything.”
Syren’s father:“That I can. Come
on inside.”
CHBK: “Excellent.”
CHBK steps inside as the shot cuts to another shot inside
the house with CHBK and Syren’s father seated at the kitchen table and CHBK has
a form placed in front of him.
Syren’s Father: “So what exactly does this do?”
CHBK: “Well given the fact that Syren has had some
medical concerns about her action in the ring and given that she has not
reported these concerns, we have reason to believe that she is under undue
influence to stay in the ring. While you cannot undo her contract or nothing of
the sort, this would allow us to have on record that you disagree with her
continued desire to compete, viewing this to be self-destructive behaviour. And
given that this is your daughter, this would be the equivalent of a sworn
affidavit in the event that should SCW deem Syren not cleared to compete and
she questions this, we would have recourse to suggest she is not in the right
frame of mind.”
Syren’s Father: “Well I certainly don’t feel her to be in
the right frame of mind at all for competing in such barbaric and low-brow
forms.”
CHBK: “Well while I disagree with that later comment, it
does occasionally become barbaric.”
Syren’s Father: “Though she has told me not to
interfere-“
CHBK: “I know that feeling. I have two children of my own.
Both of them often are unruly. In fact one I am no longer on speaking terms
with. Questionable actions. Involving themselves with bad relationship. Infidelity.
Dangerous situations. And they compete for SCW as
well. They however have not been as medically concerned as your daughter.”
Syren’s Father: “Infidelity?”
CHBK: “Didn’t you know. Oh, well, there is a rumour that
your daughter has been involved with certain individuals of the roster,
including one individual who is married.”
Syren’s Father: “Oh my God. Zoe what are you doing?”
CHBK: “She’s already ruining other relationships. Medical
issues are possible as she has been in some very hard-hitting matches. She
doesn’t want to rest either. I’m sure you’ve met some of her associates-“
Syren’s Father: “Oh...that...what was
her name? Ravyn I believe?”
CHBK: “Ravyn Taylor, yes.”
Syren’s Father: “Oh you know. Well, Syren is apparently
in a relationship....um...how do I put this. It’s just
so unexpected...a sexual one.”
CHBK: “Mr. Sperling...I think it suffices to say that
Syren has gotten into a rough crowd. Now I like her. I think she’s a very good
person and definitely has a future. But SCW does not want to see the future of
such a promising competitor be snuffed out. This is why I came here to you.”
Syren’s Father: “Well, do you mind if I have my lawyer
review this-“
CHBK: “Well if possible, I would like to know we have
your support. What I can do is if you sign this now, I’m sure you’ve been going
through it, I can fax it to you and you can submit a letter confirming your
agreement with this document. As you’ll note, my signature,
nor the signature of a witness is not required and therefore the form
itself can easily be contested should you later disagree after review.”
Syren’s father just continues to look at the document
before nodding. CHBK then reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pen.
Syren’s Father: “Thank you.”
CHBK: “No...thank you.”
Syren’s the paper signs the matter before the tape feed
ends.
The scene then reopens in the arena
as Ravyn can be seen fuming and Syren looks completely disheartened. CHBK
meanwhile smirks as he reaches into his blazer pocket and reveals the same form
that Syren’s father signed.
Knots: “What the hell? Come
on!”
Sharper: “Oh my God. CHBK just
went over both of them.”
CHBK continues to smile and
some cheers come from the crowd.
CHBK: “Now if I wanted to, I
could now have Syren forced to meet with SCW doctors and I could make your
lives very difficult. But as you know Ravyn, this alone...means nothing.
Syren’s eighteen. Syren has not been on good terms with her father. Though
apparently is on good terms with others. In fact, I think he was equally as
angry at me as you Ravyn. Perhaps Mr. Knight may want to tread a bit lighter.”
Dawson: “Oh my God! Syren and
Lucas Knight! Is that what Christy Matthews is so angry at Lucas for!”
Knots: “He’s crossing lines!
Come on! He’s the Commissioner! He should not be doing this!”
Sharper: “I can’t disagree
with that...but the Master of Mind Games...Ravyn kept talking about the CHBK
from 2005...this is him...”
CHBK: “But Ravyn....with your
track record...how easily do you think I can convince your parents and a court
to make sure you’re no longer an issue.”
The pro-CHBK crowd roars as
Ravyn continues to look at CHBK, clearly upset. Syren
just turns to Ravyn and looks confused.
CHBK: “It seems like Ravyn,
you’re a bright girl. But you need to realize that just because you’re intelligent, it doesn’t mean you’re entitled to everything.”
Suddenly, CHBK turns around as
we see Lucas Knight force himself out. He lunges and
nails CHBK with a hard right. CHBK spins around and drops down. Lucas Knight
then goes to move forward only for security to move forward from the back and
grab Knight, pulling him back. CHBK then gets up and smirks before looking back
at Ravyn before turning to Lucas Knight.
CHBK: “I guess heartbreaks
will last forever.....”
CHBK smiles as the crowd
cheers for him. Lucas continues to be dragged out back through the backstage
area as Ravyn just looks down, seething and Syren continues to look on
confused.
COMMERCIAL:
Breakdown returns as the crowd
continues to buzz over what they saw. Meanwhile, we see CHBK walking backstage,
following the group of security who now have Lucas Knight handcuffed. Lucas
clearly is ticked off and CHBK just smirks as the crowd again cheers seeing
CHBK.
Sharper: “Unbelievable situation
here on Breakdown. CHBK actually outsmarting Dark Fantasy by going far more
personal than I think they thought he would.”
Dawson: “We’ve seen CHBK be
far more professional lately and I don’t know what to think. We saw the man who
won five SCW World Titles. We saw the man who messed with people’s heads. We
saw the Master of Mind Games return here tonight.”
Knots: “Yeah and that’s our
Commissioner. I used to love watching him screw with people, but he’s the
Commissioner. He shouldn’t be doing this at all!”
Sharper: “And this Toronto
crowd, buzzing and cheering for the efforts of CHBK. Ravyn
Taylor and Lucas Knight being the target with Syren being caught in the
middle.”
Dawson: “Syren wasn’t the
focus, Ravyn and Lucas were. CHBK revealing how far he can go to ruin Ravyn
Taylor’s life if he wanted to....and Lucas Knight being revealed to have a
relationship with Syren....I’m in shock.”
CHBK continues to follow the
security and Lucas who manages to stop them and turn back around to CHBK.
Lucas: “You son of a bitch!
I’ll destroy you! You ruined my life! I’ll god damn destroy you!”
CHBK: “Get him in the squad
car. Let him cool off at the station. Probably just angry
that England’s not doing hot in the World Cup.”
Lucas: “Screw you! Let me go!
Let me go! CHBK! You’re dead! You damn well know I’m coming for you!”
CHBK: “Name the place...I’ll
be there!”
Lucas tries to break away as
CHBK is suddenly stopped by Sasha Drachewych who is now standing in the hallway
as Lucas and the security guards pass. CHBK stops and walks over to her.
Sasha: “So are you happy?”
CHBK: “Perfectly.”
Sasha: “Why though?”
CHBK: “You know why....”
Sasha: “You’re not making this
easy.”
CHBK just smiles and pats
Sasha on the back.
CHBK: “No one ever said this
was.”
CHBK then turns and walks down
another hallway. Sasha just watches Lucas for a moment longer before starting
to turn around and follow CHBK. We then turn back to Lucas Knight who continues
to fight with the guards before they get him to the squad car. Two uniformed
officers wait and hold the door open. The security team manages to get Lucas
in. Lucas turns and the officers close the door.
???: “Wait!”
The officers turn and we see
Christy Matthews walking over to the car.
Matthews: “Can you roll down
the window...he’s my husband. I’ll only be a minute.”
The officer looks to his
partner and they reluctantly roll down the window. Lucas turns and sees his
wife immediately starting to profusely apologize.
Lucas: “I’m sorry! I’m so
sorry! Please! I’ll make it up to you.”
Matthews: “I’m not.”
Lucas suddenly stops and looks
confused.
Lucas: “What?”
Matthews: “Just like you
aren’t. Look...”
Christy looks away for a
moment before turning back.
Christy: “Just realize....you
owe me your career for this.”
Christy then turns and walks
off as Lucas just looks completely dazed as the officers roll the window back
up. The siren is then heard and the car starts to drive off.
Sharper: “What? What does that
mean?”
Dawson: “You don’t think
Christy told CHBK something.”
Knots: “No... come on! This is just getting too much.”
The scene switches to show
Syren and Ravyn walking through the backstage area. Marcus King walks behind
them. Ravyn is clearly unhappy as she storms through the backstage area.
Ravyn: “That no good son of a
bitch. THAT was crossing the line. Of course the idiot has to prance his arrogance all around. God!”
Syren jogs after Ravyn, still
clearly confused.
Syren: “Ravyn....what’s going
on? What really is happening here?”
Ravyn just continues to walk
forward, hearing Syren, but still muttering her anger.
Ravyn: “He can’t deal with us
being better than him. He can’t deal with us having success. He’s holding us
back because he’s afraid of what is means!”
Syren: “But why? Why?”
Suddenly, Syren is drilled
from behind by a running tackle from Marina Trent. Syren falls forward and
Ravyn is hit by it as well, causing her to stumble forward. He turns around and
suddenly we see Masquerade and Shilo run forward, with titles in the air and
drill Ravyn in the head, knocking her over. The camera turns back to see Marcus
King clutching his head in pain, leading everyone to assume Karnivale hit him
first. Syren starts to stir and Marina starts to hammer away at her in the back
of the head in the tiny area of the hallway they are in. The crowd cheers and
Marina hit a few more shots before we see Shilo pull Marina off and hold her
back a bit.
Shilo: “Okay...easy there.”
Marina: “Sorry. I’ve been
waiting to get my hands on the Women’s Champion.”
Masquerade: “Well, you’d think
they’d be the same to us. They’ve wanted this for so long....Damn that CHBK.”
Shilo: “Yeah. I mean what do they see in him. I’m so much better looking!”
Marina punches Shilo in the
arm.
Shilo: “Ow!”
Masquerade: “Well I’m better
looking...and I have a mask!”
Shilo: “HA!”
Masquerade: “Maybe this will
remind them who they’re facing at Rise to Greatness. Women! Never know what
you’re going to get!”
Marina: “Hey!”
Shilo: “I’d run!”
Masquerade jogs off as Shilo
and Marina chase after Masquerade. Ravyn continues to hold her head in pain as
Syren starts to get up slowly and crawls over to Ravyn, checking on her. The
scene then slowly fades to black.

Brayden Walker vs. Dillusion
Underground Rules
The intro to The Name of the
Game hits the speakers as the lights dim throughout the arena. Pyro explodes on
stage. The crowd erupts into cheers as Brayden Walker walks out from the back
and out onto the stage. Brayden Walker makes no pause on the entrance ramp and
just makes his way to the ring where he slides in quickly. He gets himself
loosened up and ready to compete.
Dawson: “Brayden Walker is
about to have a hell of a challenge. He has to face the unhinged Dillusion.”
Knots: “Unhinged? You’re
calling him unhinged? That’s putting it lightly. The guy’s
nuts!”
Sharper: “One also has to
wonder what Helms and Brayden were thinking earlier. Both of them were trading
ideas and success and floated out an idea. That would be quite interesting to
see.”
The screen suddenly goes to
static and then there is a blast of pyro that falls from seemingly the sky onto
the entrance way with a giant crashing noise. “Wait and Bleed” by Slipknot
begins to pump through the arena speakers. The camera moves into the entrance
way where there is a large mass of fire. The fire grows several feet high on
the big screen it shows a figure kneeling in the center of the flames. The
figure slowly rises and looks directly at the camera as it slowly zooms in.
This reveals Dillusion eyeing the camera with a sadistic look,
he steps forward through the fire.
He smiles and then moves down the entrance way looking through the audience. He
licks his lips and then rolls under the middle rope. He kneels in the center of
the ring biting on his lower lip and then leaps up to his feet rushing to the
other side of the ring, leaping up onto the middle rope and making a gun sign
and pointing out to the audience. The camera moves in close as you can see his
lips move forming the word “BANG” which is followed by a massive explosion of
pyro behind him.
Sharper: “Dillusion has lost
it in recent weeks and continues to. But one thing, regardless, is that he is
very dangerous in that ring.”
Knots: “Yeah, and that’s
because he’s nuts. The fact of the matter is that he’s a menace and a detriment
to all who get in the ring with him!”
Dawson: “But he’s a former
World Champion.”
Knots: “Oh Christ...”
The bell sounds and Dillusion
immediately drops to the floor. He then looks under the ring and grabs a table
and immediately starts to set it up at ringside. He unfolds the legs as Walker
just looks on a bit confused. Dillusion then places it in front of the announce
tables. Dillusion then turns around and grabs a steel chair from ringside and folds
it up before walking towards the ring and Walker suddenly runs towards
Dillusion and hits a sliding dropkick to the chair, knocking it back into
Dillusion’s face. The crowd ohs and Dillusion falls back. Walker then quickly
starts to climb up to the top rope as Dillusion slowly gets up. Walker gets to
the top and then dives off and lands on top of Dillusion with a crossbody-like
tackle. Walker rolls over and into the announce table.
Knots: “The idiot already has
hurt his chances.”
Sharper: “Huge risk for
Brayden Walker but one that pays off. Dillusion already is in bad shape!”
Dillusion starts to stir and
Walker walks over and grabs the chair Dillusion had and walks over to Dillusion
as he gets up. He then drills Dillusion in the skull with it and Dillusion
staggers back and falls onto the table he set up. Walker just smiles as he
hopes onto the apron and then walks along it and stomps Dillusion in the face.
He then walks over to the far corner and starts to climb up to the top rope.
The crowd starts to roar and Walker gets to the top only for Dillusion to roll
off the table and hop onto the apron and then club Walker in the back. Walker
winces and Dillusion then climbs up to the second rope. He then grabs Walker
and lifts him up and hits a back suplex off the second rope and through the
table. The crowd ohs as Dillusion and Walker both wince in pain.
Sharper: “Oh my lord! Back suplex from the top rope through the table!”
Knots: “Holy Christ!”
Dawson: “And both men are down
and both men are hurt! Talk about huge risk and huge pain!”
The referee checks on both and
Dillusion starts to laugh as he lays in the shrapnel.
He then slowly rolls over and covers Walker.

Walker gets his shoulder up.
Walker rolls over slowly as suddenly the scene cuts backstage to showing new
Corvette pulling up to the arena. The crowd roars as the door opens and we then
see James Exeter step out. He turns and walks around the vehicle before
starting to walk towards the entrance of the arena. The scene then cuts to
split screen showing Exeter on the left and Walker vs. Dillusion on the right.
Sharper: “James Exeter has
just arrived.”
Dawson: “And he’s walking with
purpose.”
|
Exeter continues to walk through
the backstage area, looking around before walking over to an official and
grabbing him. Exeter: “Where’s Angel?” The official points in the
distance and Exeter smirks and pats the official on the back before starting to
walk down the hallway and in the direction the official pointed. Exeter
continues to walk in the general direction before suddenly, Exeter is tackled
from behind and knocked down. Damian Angel is seen standing over him and he
stomps Exeter in the head. He then bends over and grabs Exeter before
spinning him around before throwing him into the wall. Exeter spins around
and Damian grabs him in a side headlock and drags him out. Angel: “Alright. James.
We’re going to go on a bit of a walk.” |
Dillusion slowly lifts up
Walker and drags him up before kneeing him in the ribs. He then turns and hip
throws him into the barricade. Walker falls back down and Dillusion drops
down and knees him in the face. Walker falls back and Dillusion goes for
another pin. 1! 2! Walker kicks out. Dillusion
turns and grabs Walker and drags him up. He then turns and goes to throw him
into the ringpost, but Walker blocks it with his foot before elbowing
Dillusion in the jaw. Dillusion turns around and Walker grabs him and then German
suplexes him into the ringpost, causing Dillusion to go back and head first
into the post before falling down. The crowd ohs and Walker rolls over and
away from Dillusion. |
Dawson: “A bit of a walk? What
does Damian mean and-“
Knots: “Oh!”
Sharper: “My God. Head first into the ringpost. Dillusion may out of it.”
Knots: “He’s too stupid to be
out of it!”
|
Angel drags James down the
hallway slowly as the crowd roars. Angel drags him a few feet before James tries
to go limp to stop Angel, only for Angel to turn and knee James in the face.
He then lifts him up before nailing him in the head and then hammering away
at him with several hard rights. Angel then turns and throws James over a
footlocker. James slowly starts to get up and Damian runs over and stomps him
in the head. James rolls over before dragging him up and starting to drag him
to his destination again. |
Walker turns and reaches
underneath the ring and grabs a chair from under the ring. He then turns and
grabs Dillusion and drags him out before opening the chair. He places it
around the head of Dillusion before turning and going to run him into the far
ringpost, but Dillusion spins around and throws Walker into it. Walker spins
off and falls into the rampway, shaking his head. Dillusion just shakes his
torso violently, causing the chair to spin around, so he can see. Dillusion
then keeps the chair on his head before dropping down and grabbing something
underneath the ring, a fire extinguisher. The crowd cheers as Walker starts
to slowly get up and Dillusion turns and walks over before cracking Walker in
the back of the head. Walker stumbles forward and falls down on the ramp. The
camera angle switches to suddenly show Autumn Daniels standing at the top of
the entrance way with something in her hand. |
Sharper: “Autumn Daniels is
now out here. I don’t know what to think about that.”
Knots: “I think we may be
getting an extraordinary surprise!”
Dawson: “Well we have a match
going on and Dillusion is going right after Walker, now hammering away on him
after hitting him with that fire extinguisher!”
The split screen disappears as
we focus back on the action at ringside. Dillusion starts to hammer away to the
back of Walker’s head on the rampway before getting up. He smirks as he walks
around, breathing heavily. He then bends over and grabs Walker before lifting
him up. He then kicks him in the ribs before placing his head between his legs.
He goes to hoist him up, but Walker drops back down. Walker then manages to
pull away before nailing him with a European uppercut. Dillusion staggers back
and Walker grabs the fire extinguisher and drills Dillusion in the side of the
head with it, knocking him back. Walker then looks at the fire extinguisher
before running over to Dillusion and jumping up, nailing him with a double knee
facebuster, but after having placed the fire extinguisher against his knees,
driving that into Dillusion’s face. Dillusion pops up and rolls up the ramp and
onto the stage. Walker winces as he holds his legs in pain and throws the fire
extinguisher aside, causing it to roll up on the stage.
Dawson: “Oh! What a move!”
Sharper: “A fire-extinguisher
aided facebuster! Dillusion may be out. And if that trigger hit him, who knows
what other damage!”
Dillusion is nearly out of it
and Walker just looks at him as he limps around. He then jogs forward as best
as he can and jumps up before hitting a standing frog splash onto Dillusion. He
hooks the leg for the pin.

3!
The crowd roars. Walker rolls
off and then gets up to celebrate before a boot nails him in the face, knocking
him back and down the rampway. We then see Damian Angel with James Exeter in
tow on the stage. He then kicks Exeter in the knee and Exeter falls to his
knees. Damian then boots Exeter in the side of the head and Exeter falls back.
Damian turns and then goes over to Autumn who hands
him what is now revealed as a blowtorch. Autumn then reaches into her pocket
before managing to pull out a well-folded cloth of some sort. Damian just
smirks before unfolding it a bit and then throwing it down on the stage.
Sharper: “Damian Angel has
come out here with James Exeter.”
Dawson: “And everyone’s down.
Dillusion is down. Walker is too weak to get up and do anything. James is hurt.
This is bad.”
Damian then takes the
blowtorch for turning it on and then reaching in his pocket and revealing a
lighter. He stick it in front of the blowtorch and
lights it before throwing the lighter away. He then places the blowtorch down
onto the cloth, causing it to light almost immediately and creating a decent
sized flame on the stage. Damian then hands the blowtorch back to James and
James suddenly grabs the fire extinguisher and expels some of the contents in
the face of Damian before turning and expelling them on the cloth. The crowd
roars. Damian flails around, struggling to see only to turn to James and James
nails him in the head with the fire extinguisher, knocking him down. The crowd
roars as James shakes his head and looks at Damian who is quickly helped up by Autumn and makes his exit.
Dawson: “Thank God for that
fire extinguisher.”
Sharper: “Yeah, the insanity
of the Underground division brought some order and safety, believe it or not.”
Dawson: “And James Exeter gets
another one over Damian Angel. I think he was coming to go after him again.”
Knots: “Oh I know it. Damian
did too. And Damian nearly made Exeter pay the ultimate price!”
Sharper: “Good lord. Damian
Angel playing with fire again....”
James continues to stand on
the stage as Brayden and Dillusion stir and we slowly go to commercial.
COMMERCIAL:
Shots of pyro
going off at the start of last year’s Rise to Greatness in the Edward Jones
Dome is shown as “Hello! Hooray!” by Alice Cooper plays in the background.
“Hello!”
Slow-motion
shows of the spotlights starting to circle are shown.
“Hooray! Let the
show begin
I've been ready”
A shot of Jason
Wheeler making his way down to the ring, followed by a shot of CHBK nailing Mr.
D with the Bittersweet Ending are shown, before we see a shot of the audience
cheering.
“Hello! Hooray! Let the lights grow dim
I've been ready”
The shot of Jay
Gold hitting the Golden Moment on someone, followed by a shot of James Exeter
attempting a shooting star press, only for Shawn Winters to counter it into the
Graven Image. This turns into a shot of Damian Angel posing.
“Ready as this audience that's coming here to dream”
We then see a
shot of Matt Hodges celebrating with the World Championship, followed by a shot
of Xander Valentine slowly making his way to the ring.
“Loving every second, every moment, every scream”
This is followed
by some recent shots of Christian Savior spearing Greg Cherry, followed by
Syren posing with the Women’s Championship and finally a shot of Karnivale
standing over the ring in the scaffolding.
“I've been waiting so long for this thing to come”
We then see a
shot of Greg Cherry holding the Adrenaline Championship, followed by a shot of
Brayden Walker hitting someone with the Name of the Game and followed with a
shot of Jake Starr hitting the Shooting Five Star on Hurse in Tactical Warfare.
“Yeah - I've been thinking so long I was the only one”
A shot of the
slow-motion opening of last year’s Rise to Greatness is shown yet again as the
music starts to trail off.
“Rise to
Greatness 2010 – 4 ½ Weeks Away!”
Breakdown returns as we hear
cheers from all over the crowd as they get excited for Rise to Greatness. “We
Made It” by Busta Rhymes featuring Linkin Park can be heard in the background.
Sharper: “Well in just over a
month, we will be in Dallas for Rise to Greatness and what a show it will be.”
Dawson: “Yeah and we’re
getting more and more matches announced. It could easily be the most
star-studded and biggest show in wrestling history.”
The Rise to Greatness logo comes
up on the screen before turning into a still of each of the matches.
Greg Cherry vs. Thorn
SCW World Championship
Sharper: “And it will be
headlined by a huge SCW World Championship match. Thorn will defend his title
against Greg Cherry.”
Knots: “Yeah and Thorn doesn’t
trust Greg at all. But at the end of the day, one of those two will walk our
World Champion and that means everything to both.”
Christian Savior vs. Katie Steward
Dawson: “And from there, we
have Christian Savior and Katie Steward. A match that has
title implications, but not only that. Katie Steward is unhappy that
Savior stole her spotlight.”
Sharper: “The Ultimate
Opportunist is not going to care about that. What he will be looking to do is
hit that spear and walk out with a huge Rise to Greatness win.”
Knots: “And shut up Katie
Steward. But if Katie wins, we’ll hear it forever.”
Dark Fantasy vs. Karnivale
SCW World Tag Team Championship
Dawson: “And Dark Fantasy gets
their opportunity. They’ve wanted it for months and have got it. But Ravyn
Taylor is going to have to focused on the matter at
hand, not CHBK.”
Knots: “CHBK is the one
distracting her.”
Sharper: “Then Karnivale has
the advantage. Ravyn Taylor is smart enough to know that she has to turn her
attention and Syren will do all she can to keep on her roll.”
Lucas Knight vs. CHBK
Dawson: “And how about this.
It’s been confirmed. After hearing what Lucas Knight said to CHBK, it’s been
signed. Lucas will get his chance for revenge at Rise to Greatness.”
Knots: “Again. How is this
fair?! CHBK coaxed him into this and practically ruined his life!”
Sharper: “Lucas has a chance
to prove himself against arguably one of the best to ever lace their boots and
the only man who has competed at every Rise to Greatness.”
James Exeter vs. Damian Angel
Knots: “Satan himself wants to
make a sacrifice.”
Dawson: “I don’t know about
that, but this has been in the making since November when Damian attacked James
Exeter. Exeter wants revenge.”
Sharper: “And after what we
saw earlier, that match is going to be brutal.”
Glacier vs. Justin Davis
First Blood Match
Dawson: “But this match may be
just as brutal. We know its personal. We know they
hate each other. And now they have no rules.”
Knots: “You win by busting
your opponent open. Think about that. They can beat the hell out of each other
until someone is clearly bleeding.”
Jake Starr vs. Josh Hudson
Sharper: “The match that might
show who has been the best in SCW in the last year. Is it Josh Hudson or Jake
Starr? Both of them had storied years, but who will get one up on the other at
Rise to Greatness.”
Knots: “And Josh Hudson has
said that this will be his last match regardless of outcome. And he wants to
make sure that when he leaves, he takes the spirit of the fans of Jake Starr.
And trust me, I am dying to see him do it.”
Xander Valentine vs. Chad Evans
Sharper: “And a rematch of two
year ago. Xander Valentine and Chad Evans. Both
returned and Chad does not like Xander. He’s jealous of him. He’s jealous of
the reputation Xander has.”
Dawson: “Well Xander Valentine
is one of the most dominant to ever come into SCW. And he’s going to look to
prove it yet again against God-“
???: “And of course everyone is
talking about it....”
Sharper: “What the hell’s
that?”
The cameras start to pan the
crowd. The crowd roars a bit as we go back to a wide shot of the audience.
Meanwhile laughter is heard from the speakers.
???: “Oh come now. I’m sick of
dealing with the antics of SCW security. And instead, just like I said last
time...I am everywhere.”
More laughter is heard as the crowd
roars and then boos a bit.
Sharper: “Chad Evans...”
Knots: “God is
here...God...well...he’s everywhere!”
God: “And tonight, where I am
is unimportant. But what I have to say, I’m sure everyone cares about. Well,
that is except SCW. They powers that be have told me to stay away. And that’s
just not my style. Especially since I know that Xander Valentine is getting the
red-carpet treatment, being allowed at the shows and to come and go as he
pleases. He plays by the rules. But what SCW forgets is that I’m God....Rules don’t matter to me.”
A faint laughter is heard as a
roar comes from the crowd.
God: “And see that’s an
interesting concept. Rules. I mean...I’ve been carted
out by security the last few weeks. But when I have been allowed to do what I
do best, I’ve bested Xander every step of the way. Taking Hold of the Flame, I
took out the Executioner. I did what I said I was going to do. Did people talk
about it? Oh yes. Did SCW say anything? No. Xander’s their golden boy. Well
used to be. But see, if SCW doesn’t want me at the arenas, fearing what I’ll
do. How will I get the point across to Xander that this is more than just a
battle between two greats of SCW’s past but something far more.
Something that has been eating away at me for years.
Something that Xander has that I should!”
As Chad Evans stops at that
statement, the crowd starts to erupt as Xander Valentine, in street clothes,
walks out from the back, looking around with a coffee in his hand. The camera
moves in close to him hearing Xander mutter: “Where the hell is he? Bring him
on.” A “Xander!” chant begins.
God: “And since I’m not
here...I could be anywhere. I proved that last Breakdown, right Xander. So
where am I? I could be in the arena...or I could be at home. I could be in Los
Angeles soaking up some son. Or maybe not.”
Another pause comes as Xander
continues to look around.
God: “So Xander...I have a
question....How’s Calli Bennett doing?”
Xander immediately stops
looking and just looks down, with Chad’s words clearly striking a chord.
God: “How about that idiot son
of yours....Connor was it?”
Some laughter is then heard.
God: “See with you chumming it up at Breakdown, and SCW wanting me nowhere
near...it gives me some great time to get to you know that much better. And to find as much information as I want. And
sometimes....it helps if you go right to the source! But then again...you’d
know if I did that....would you?”
Xander just looks up, clearly
fuming.
God: “Oh well....thank SCW. Because the scouting is going very well.”
Chad can be heard laughing
again as Xander continues to fume, breathing in and out very clearly. He just
starts to look down as the laughter continues to pierce throughout the arena
and the scene slowly fades to black.
COMMERCIAL:
Shilo Valiant vs. Gable Winchester
SCW United States Championship
The audience rise to their
feet in cheers as a woman scream the word "NECRO!" across the sound
system as "Sin with a Grin" by Shinedown play. The spotlight and
camera search around the arena, trying to locate the elusive Necro-Merchant.
They quickly spot a growing fog near the entryway of the ramp.
The fans yells only grow louder as from seeming below the ground, Shilo shoots
out of the ground as fireworks shoot out around him, the neon lights causing
his white face and colored hair to glow in eerie colors. Landing on the ground,
Shilo spins around on the spot, marveling at the massive audience and shouting
back at them. The word "Necro" is heard again, which Shilo returns by
shouting the same word. Making his way down the ramp, he takes out two vial
guns from his belt and holds them up, his feet planted as blue fire shoots from
the stage behind him. As the fire raises then dies, the lights return to
normal, revealing Shilo in full color.
Making his way to the audience, Shilo is approached by fans who hand him money
(or avors from women) for a hit from his vial guns of necro. As he takes the
payment and gives the fan what they want, both Shilo and the fans yell Necro.
Returning to the match, Shilo tosses the now empty guns away and slides into
the ring, staying on his stomach to view the hungry crowd. Standing up, he
makes his way over to the turnbuckle, jumps on and shouts to the fans and
finger shooting them as if he still had his vial guns. Marina Trent meanwhile
then makes her way down from the back to join Shilo at ringside.
Sharper: “After everything
else we’ve seen, we now have the United States Championship on the line.”
Dawson: “And Shilo and
Masquerade have already reminded Ravyn Taylor and Syren about their Tag Team
obligations. But Shilo’s going to try and get some more gold. If this is the
case, Karnivale would definitely be the golden team.”
The opening strains to
“Everywhere I Go” start to echo around the arena as
gold lighting starts to pulse around the arena, then begin to pulse to the beat
of the introduction. Once the main verse starts, Gable Winchester walks from the
back, nodding his head and moving his hands up and down in time to his theme
song. The US Championship sits over his shoulder. The fans start to cheer, some
ecstatically, whilst some out of respect for what he has done so far in his
young career. Once he gets to the barricade he looks out at the fans and shows
that he isn’t too egotistical for the fans. Smiling, he sidesteps down the
ramp, close to the barricade, frantically slapping all the palms he comes into
contact with before reaching the bottom of the ramp. He spins around on the
spot with his palms facing upwards before sliding into the ring and nodding his
head to thumping beat of his theme tune.
He runs and leaps to the top turnbuckle and sweeps his hand in the direction of
the people in the crowds and gestures for them to cheer him on louder before he
gets down from the turnbuckle and smiles to himself about the reception the
crowds give him, brushing his wild dreadlocks from his face before handing the
US Championship to the referee.
Sharper: “Gable Winchester
already showing he’s a fighting champion. Despite not being scheduled to, he
defended the title last Breakdown against the returning Mayhem and now tonight
against Shilo Valiant.”
Dawson: “Definitely nice to
see that the case.”
Knots: “He’s arrogant! He’ll
keep defending his title and one day it’s going to bite him in the ass!”
The bell sounds as the referee
holds the title over his head. He then turns and hands it off as Shilo and
Gable start to circle the ring. The two continue to eye each other before
lunging and grappling. Gable quickly turns into a side headlock and Shilo then
turns and pushes him back into the ropes before firing him off. Gable bounces
off the ropes and Shilo moves forward only for Gable to shoulder him down.
Gable turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off the ropes and hops over
Shilo. Shilo pops up and Gable bounces off the other side and Shilo attempts a
leapfrog, but Gable stops before Shilo. Shilo lands and Gable quickly rolls him
up with a small package.
1!
2!
Shilo kicks out. Both men then
get up and Gable hits a spin kick to the chest of Shilo and Shilo winces as he
falls back into the corner.
Sharper: “Gable with a hard
kick and Shilo is jarred from that.”
Knots: “He’ll be feeling that
one. That’s for sure.”
Gable then walks over and
nails him with a hard forearm. Shilo winces and Gable nails him again. He then
grabs Shilo and turns before whipping him over with a snapmare takedown. Shilo
sits up and Gable then jumps up to the middle turnbuckle and jumps back and
hits a dropkick to the back of Shilo’s head. The crowd ohs and Shilo rolls
over. Gable quickly then dives on top of Shilo.
1!
2!
Shilo kicks out. He stirs
slowly, holding his head in pain as Gable then turns and grabs him and drags
him up. He knees him in the ribs before then grabbing him in a single underhook
before throwing him overhead. Shilo winces and slowly starts to get up. Gable
gets to his feet and runs into the ropes. He bounces off them and jumps up for
a forearm, but Shilo ducks and Gable stops himself at the ropes. He turns
around and Shilo jumps up and nails him with a standing enziguri, causing him
to flip forward.
Sharper: “Oh! What a kick to
the back of the head.”
Dawson: “Both are using those kicks
well. And someone’s going to pay for it at some point. The body isn’t meant to
take impact like that!”
Gable winces as he holds his
head. Shilo then turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off them and flips
forward before hitting the rolling thunder. He turns and hooks the leg for the
pin.
1!
2!
Gable kicks out. He rolls over
slowly and Shilo gets up. He walks around as Gable starts to slowly lift
himself back to his feet and Shilo kicks him in the chest. He then turns and
runs into the ropes and bounces off them before hitting a running facebuster.
Gable rolls over onto his back. Shilo then gets up before hitting a hard elbow
to the chest. Shilo then gets up and walks over to the ropes. He exits to the
apron as Marina applauds and cheers on Shilo. Shilo starts to climb up to the
rope. Gable rolls over and starts to get up. He manages to get to his feet and
Shilo jumps off the top rope and hits a seated senton into the middle of the
ring. Shilo gets up and then turns and runs over to the corner and jumps up to
the middle rope before climbing to the top and attempting a rounding splash,
but Gable rolls out of the way and the crowd ohs.
Knots: “Well good try. Next
time maybe he can hit something.”
Dawson: “Shilo went for a huge
rounding splash, but no one was home.”
Sharper: “Gable Winchester
managing to roll out of the way and Shilo is slow to get up, holding his ribs.”
Gable starts to stir as Shilo
holds his ribs. He turns back to Gable and Gable gets to his feet and kicks him
in the ribs. He then nails him with a European uppercut. Shilo stumbles back.
Gable then nails him with another and Shilo spins around. Gable then grabs him
and hoists him up and over with a back suplex. He turns and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Shilo rolls his shoulder off the
canvas before starting to pull himself up. Gable turns and grabs Shilo and
drags him up before taking him over with a vertical suplex. He then swivels his
hips before starting to get up. He hoists Shilo up again before dropping him
down with a sitout front suplex. Gable rolls back and looks at Shilo as Shilo
slowly rolls over. Gable then jumps up and hits a double leg drop before
rolling back. He then crawls over and goes for the pin.
Dawson: “Gable hitting a
series of move, the pin!”
Sharper: “Will Gable retain
the US Championship! No! Shilo kicks out!”
Shilo kicks out after two and
Gable rolls over. He looks forward before getting up. Shilo starts to slowly
lift himself up and he grabs Gable, but Gable quickly grabs
him and spikes him with a DDT. Shilo rolls through and Gable rolls over and
grabs him and hoists him back up. He then lifts him up and places him on the
top rope. Gable nails him with an uppercut blow. He then starts to pull himself
up to the middle turnbuckle. He nails Shilo again and then grabs him by the
waist. He goes to throw him over, but Shilo knees him in the ribs. He then
grabs Gable before diving forward and hitting a side effect from the top rope
on Gable. The crowd ohs and then cheers. Shilo winces, holding his ribs before
rolling over and covering Gable.
1!
2!
Gable gets his shoulder up.
The crowd roars and Shilo rolls over. He starts to stir as Gable rolls over in
the opposite direction. Both men start to get up and Shilo quickly jumps up and
takes Gable over with a hurricanrana.
1!
2!
Gable kicks out. Both men get
up and get to their feet before turning to each other and Gable hits a
desperation spinning heel kick, knocking Shilo down to the mat. Marina just
looks on with great concern.
Sharper: “Gable out of nowhere
hit that spinning heel kick, but with Shilo starting to get momentum, he had
to.”
Knots: “Yeah. He’s feeling
that title slip away from him as Shilo gets going.”
Gable manages to get up and
looks at Shilo as he starts to get up. Gable then hooks his arm and then his
leg before nailing him in the ribs with a shot. He goes to hoist Shilo up, but
Shilo manages to spin around, landing beside Gable before grabbing his head and
jumping back up and hitting a standing Boulevard of Broken Dreams. The crowd ohs
and Shilo falls back before quickly diving on top of Gable.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd roars as Shilo falls
back off of Gable and Marina jumps up and down celebrating. She quickly slides
into the ring as Shilo starts to get back up and the referee is handed the US
Championship before turning and handing it to Shilo and raising his arm. Shilo
looks down and then smiles as he throws his arms up and Marina hugs him from
behind.
Dawson: “Shilo Valiant has won
the title again! He’s US Champion!”
Knots: “Ah damn it! Karnivale
now has more gold!”
Dawson: “Gable Winchester was
willing to take on all comers, but Shilo Valiant was ready to get his title
back!”
Sharper: “Oh my! What a huge
boost in momentum for Karnivale!”
Shilo celebrates as he turns
and hugs Marina back. He then holds the title up as the crowd cheers and Marina
holds Shilo’s arm up. He then falls over and goes to the ropes and climbs up to
the middle turnbuckle and holds the title up again. He then drops down and
rejoins Marina continuing the celebration.
Dawson: “Well that’s all from
us. What a way to cap off a hell of a night!”
Sharper: “Yeah. Insanity all
around and well, wait...”
The scene then cuts backstage.
We see Sasha Drachewych walking up to CHBK as he can be seen leaving the arena
nearly as conspicuously as he arrived.
Sasha: “Alex!”
CHBK stops and turns before
glancing over to the side and then over to Sasha.
CHBK: “What do you need?”
Sasha: “We need to talk for
sure now.”
CHBK: “About to head home.
Laura’s cooking a late dinner. You’re invited.”
Sasha: “Come on, just come to
my office.”
CHBK: “No need. What is it?”
Sasha: “Please-“
CHBK: “Sasha....you’re
practically family.”
Sasha just looks down and
shakes her head before looking up and with a tear in her eye.
Sasha: “I have to relieve you
of your duties as Commissioner.”
The crowd roars hearing this
before some booing can be heard.
Sasha: “After what you did, I
can’t ignore that. I can’t see how that’s in the best interests.”
CHBK just smiles before taking
off his sunglasses. He then looks at Sasha before hugging her. Sasha just looks
a bit confused.
CHBK: “Finally...you’ve
realized you don’t need me....Needed to make sure.”
CHBK smiles and turns and goes
to walk away before Sasha stops him.
Sasha: “That was a test.”
CHBK turns back around.
CHBK: “Quite simply...it was.
You needed to finally show strength. You showed it last week with Zero, Savior
and Katie. I need to see how strong you were. You passed with flying colours.
And I get what I want....I get to return to the ring.”
Sasha just looks surprised. CHBK then starts to walk off again before then stopping and turning
back around to Sasha.
CHBK: “You did well. We’re
proud.”
Sasha: “We?”
CHBK: “Yeah...how about you
meet my cameraman?”
CHBK then turns and starts to
walk away as Sasha looks up completely shocked. The camera pans out and the
crowd roars as Jason Zero steps forward and grabs Sasha’s hand before bending
over and kissing the back of it. He then looks up and smiles before turning and
walking over to CHBK and the two SCW Legends make their exit from the arena
with Sasha Drachewych in absolute shock.
