Trying to get back to who I used to be

Where is the old me?

Autumn Valentine hitting the Blindspot on a foe follows before we see a shot of Owen Lee and Daisy Lee on their way to the ring, and then a shot of Kimberly Williams licking a staple gun. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are live here on Breakdown as we roll into Indianapolis for a night that has a bunch of huge matches!”

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd. After a few moments, the cameras cut to the announce position where Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman sit.

Sharper: “Hello again everyone. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman and tonight, as I said, a big night.”

Lyman: “Big night indeed…”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as a still of Datura vs. Alexis Quinne comes up on the screen.

Lyman: “Datura returns to the ring tonight and perhaps with the backing of the Brand to face off against a former friend, someone who called her out last week.”

Knots: “But what about Cid Turner, the one who may have convinced Datura to make those easy payments, well…”

The still changes to show Beard vs. Cid Turner for the SCW Adrenaline Championship.

Knots: “He’s putting his Adrenaline Title on the line. And he wanted to do it. He’s showing the power of the Positive State by kicking Beard’s ass! Even putting his own title on the line in doing so!”

Sharper: “But that’s not all. We won’t see a TV Title match and it’s not for lack of trying. Deanna Frost, after last week’s show, called out Adam Allocco and offered to put her title on the line. Adam declined the title match but took on the non-title match. He said he’d use it as a message for Selena. A bit of fire early as we head to Rise to Greatness there.”

Lyman: “We’ll also see Nicole Kinneck face Polly Playtime, The One make her debut…”

Knots: “Owen Lee says he has something to say. Probably won’t shut up!”

Sharper: “Big night.”

Gavin Taylor vs. Katie Steward

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show

And the song continues...

The crowd cheers as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Phillips: “The opening contest tonight on Breakdown is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, from Los Angeles, California, he is The All-Star, Gavin Taylor!”

Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feel it whoa (whoa)
The more I need it whoa (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

I cheated to get what I got
Stepped all over you self for my spot
I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not
I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.  Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor stunned us last week. He came out and saved Syren!”

Knots: “Yeah! Why?! I don’t get it! Why would anyone save Syren?”

Sharper: “Christy Matthews did a few weeks ago-“

Knots: “They were friends. Gavin just did it be nice? Saving Syren from the Stewards?”

Oh, she's sweet but a psycho
A little bit psycho
At night she's screamin'
"I'm-ma-ma-ma out my mind"

The arena lights dim down and pink light shine on the stage. “Sweet but Psycho:” by Ava Max plays as The Queen of Queens and Goddess of Desire Katie Steward steps out on the stage. She walks her beautiful white and gold religious ring robe that is popelike and spins around in a circle showing it off the crowd. TJ Johnson walks out onto the stage with Katie and the two nod to on another.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Los Angeles, California, accompanied by TJ Johnson, she is the Goddess of Desire, Katie Steward!”

As they head to the ring, the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

LAST WEEK:

We open up last week to see Katie Steward with Gigi Steward and TJ Johnson, standing across from Syren.

Katie: “That’s what I figured you’d say because just like me…you think you’re the best. It’s how you get to be the Queen around here. But…I also came here to speed up the process!”

Syren throws the microphone down as Gigi runs and nails Syren in the side. Syren stumbles back and nails her with a shot as TJ Johnson then runs over and grabs her, but Syren forearms him in the jaw and then elbows Gigi before nailing TJ again. She turns to Katie who blasts her with the Greatest Superkick Ever. The crowd ohs and boos. Syren hits the mat. We cut forward to see the three attacking Syren.

Sharper: “They attacked her and then jumped her.”

Lyman: “And Gavin Taylor watching this. He ran down to the ring!”

Syren takes each blow as Katie hammers away when the crowd erupts in cheers. Gavin Taylor runs out from the back. Gavin runs down and slides into the ring. Gavin runs over and grabs Katie by the hair and pulls her off. We cut forward again. Katie gets up at the ropes and steps forward as Gavin turns to her and Katie then lets out the Goddess Scream. The crowd boos. Gavin turns away briefly before Katie drops down to the floor and rolls out of the ring. The crowd cheers for Gavin as Gavin turns back to Syren. Syren starts to get up and Gavin extends his arm to her. Syren looks at Gavin and then to Katie before reaching up and taking the aid. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We return to see Katie Steward now in her corner, Johnson exiting the ring with her entrance attire.

Sharper: “Not the return to Breakdown Katie wanted.”

Knots: “Definitely not. She wanted to speed up Syren’s decline.”

Lyman: “Clearly trying to get some attention, get some noise, spotlight to her after Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Katie looks at Gavin as the bell sounds. Gavin steps out as Katie does too. The two watch on another and Katie dives low on Gavin. Gavin blocks her, but Katie manages to take him down by the leg and to the mat. Katie then moves forward and into a side headlock. Gavin grabs at Katie and Katie starts to get up. Gavin then pulls her into the ropes. He fires her off. Katie bounces off and Gavin shoulders her down. Katie rolls over and gets up and Katie goes for a hard right, but Gavin blocks it and shoves her back. Katie stops and steps forward only for Gavin to chop her. The crowd woos. Katie gets back up. Gavin chops her again. More woos. He pushes her into the ropes and fires her off. Katie bounces off and Gavin goes for a clothesline. Katie ducks and bounces off the other side only for Gavin to lift her up with a back drop. The crowd cheers. Katie rolls over to the ropes and then to the floor, backing up. (1)

Sharper: “And Gavin making Katei need to take a moment to recompose herself here.”

Lyman: “Katie had an idea to start, but it’s been all Gavin since.”

Gavin watches as Katie walks around the ring. (2) He backs up, giving her plenty of space as Katie walks by TJ and over to the steps. (3) She looks around before starting to walk up the steel steps and to the apron. She slowly walks along it before stepping into the ring. She then steps forward as Gavin watches and asks her if she’s ready. Katie snaps at him and the two circle again. Gavin moves forward this time, and Katie thumbs him in the eye. The crowd boos. Katie then kicks him in the ribs and hits a forearm shot. Gavin stumbles over into the corner. Katie walks over and kicks him in the ribs once and then again before just starting to choke him with her boot.

Lyman: “Hey!”

Gavin turns and starts to get up and Katie grabs him and snapmares him over. She then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting an elbow drop. She goes for the pin.

Sharper: “And a moneymaking dropkick. Katie caught right in the jaw.”

Lyman: “May make her think twice about talking like she did last week.”

Sharper: “She’s right now trying to figure out what Gavin may throw at her.”

Gavin walks over as Katie crawls to the ropes and Gavin grabs her and hits a back suplex. He turns and moves to the corner. He then climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and looks out. TJ hops onto the apron and the official tells him to get down. Gavin yells at him too, but this just lets Katie run over and jump up and catches Gavin with the Goddess Punch. Gavin just falls forward, dropping to the mat. The crowd ohs as Katie turns and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and then to the top. She glances back and hits a praying moonsault onto Taylor. She hooks the leg.

She pulls him up and hooks his one arm and then goes for the other, but Gavin slides back. Katie steps forward and turns around and Gavin grabs her and hits the Desperation Buzzer Beater. He rolls over and looks around as the crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Desperation Buzzer Beater! That STO and Gavin needed it!”

Lyman: “Katie was starting to control this match and Gavin, needing to think quick.”

Sharper: “He did there.”

Katie rolls over as Gavin watches her. She gets up as TJ warns her but she steps up and Gavin hoists her up and hits a spinebuster. He rolls through for the pin.

Katie then grabs his arms and twists him around and hits the Platinum Blonde. The crowd ohs. Katie rolls Gavin over and hooks the leg.

Katie gets up and steps forward, smiling. TJ Johnson gets into the ring, beaming. He walks over and grabs her arm, raising it over her head. The crowd boos. She looks around and walks over to the camera.

Katie: “I’m not messing around this time. Time for me to get what I want!”

Katie steps back and raises her arms again as the crowd boos. Katie then exits the ring, proudly walking off with TJ as Gavin starts to get up in the ring. He rolls to the floor and staggers over to the announce table. He looks down and looks around before smacking the table with some anger. He then looks up and looks around and shakes his head. He starts to head around the ring as Breakdown goes backstage.

Backstage, we see Ravyn Taylor with a notebook in front of her. She is quickly writing something down as CHBK walks into the locker room. Crowe walks in with him.

Crowe: “Still planning?”

Ravyn: “Always. Have to be prepared. Especially with this…”

CHBK: “She’s already in the ring with one annoying person.’

Ravyn: “Perfect laboratory. I’m going to find out what makes her tick. Bit by bit until find the result we’re looking for.”

CHBK: “I don’t know about this.”

Ravyn: “Oh, I don’t either. I just know…it’s interesting.”

Ravyn continues to jot down notes as Crowe and CHBK head further into the room.

Sharper: “What’s she plotting now?”

The scene fades to commercial.

Backstage, Gavin Taylor walks backstage. He clearly is still upset as he walks forward.

???: “Hey…”

Gavin stops and turns and Syren walks over to him.

Gavin: “Crap…you were watching.”

Syren: “I was. Still thank you for last week. Just got caught out here.”

Gavin: “Been happening too often. Thought…thought maybe I can turn it around and….well…”

Syren: “I still appreciate it. But…guess I’m not surprised. What was the plan? Save me and I’d give you a match. Then you’d try to use me to get a title shot.”

Gavin: “No. Saved you because it was the decent thing to do. Anything more….”

Syren: “Wait….Ravyn. That Uncle Roy stuff. Was this just a way to get to her? Look, I’m not-“

Gavin: “Stop!”

Gavin puts his hands up to emphasize his point.

Gavin: “I saved you because it was the decent thing. Did I want a match against you? Sure! To face you. Because I want to face the best. I call myself the God damned All-Star. I have fifty nicknames. Maybe I want to face the best. Period. Title shots, taking you out, all that…let others have it. I’ve been dealing with Ravyn for months. I want nothing more with her. Nicole….Pro told me that she’ll handle herself. I’m still nervous there, but I’m going to let her figure that out.”

Gavin pauses.

Gavin: “Doesn’t matter anyway. Just watch your back. You’ll always have a target.”

Gavin turns and heads off as Syren watches him go. Syren looks a bit disappointed and even confused as the scene cuts away.

The opening rifts to ‘Here we Go’ by Chris Classic blasts through the PA, as mist fills the entranceway. The music stops, a huge explosion rocks the entranceway and Owen jumps, seemingly through the floor and landing on his feet, dropping to one knee and punching the floor.

“I been more than ready
Preppin' heavy
For this day to come”

Owen gets to his feet, and looks left and right at the reaction he is getting, a look of focus and determination on his face as he takes in the crowd. He steps forward in a pair of jeans and a new Owen Lee SCW t-shirt.

Sharper: “Owen Lee had a long night last week.”

Knots: “Yeah. He beat Glory Braddock. Managing to just get past her but only to run into Josh Hudson!”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

LAST WEEK:

The crowd roars. Glory kicks out after the three as Owen falls forward. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Owen Lee!”

Hudson slides into the ring as Owen gets up and Hudson clotheslines him down before Glory gets up only for Hudson to grab her and throw her over the top rope to the floor. Owen rolls over and Hudson turns back and Owen gets up and Hudson takes him down by the arm and then pulls on the arm and the wrist before locking in a crossface. Owen yells in pain.

Knots: “Hudson came and he had a mission. Locked in the Sever(in) Mission and Owen went out!”

Sharper: “That variation of a choke and Owen couldn’t go anywhere. Hudson choking him out with the hold.”

Hudson pulls back.

Hudson: “Tap, you bitch! Tap!”

Owen yells out as Hudson keeps pulling back. Owen reaches out before Hudson moves into the Sever(in) Mission. The crowd boos as Owen struggles for a moment before starting to fade. Hudson keeps the hold on, his eyes wide in pure rage. Owen fades quickly as the official calls for the bell again and then tries to get Hudson to stop. Hudson keeps the hold on as Owen fades entirely, going limp. Glory starts to get up as officials run down to the ring. Glory slides into the ring as Hudson keeps the hold on, smiling. The official, Aaron Demitra, tries to get Hudson to stop. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We cut back to a live shot as Owen Lee is handed a microphone from Jason Phillips. He turns back to the entrance way and then turns to the crowd as his music fades out. An “Owen!” chant breaks out as Owen nods.

Owen: “Thank you for that, but I’ve got a few things to say after last week.”

The crowd cheers a bit.

Owen: “Looks like Josh Hudson just can’t get enough of little old me. And while you want to think you’ve gotten under my skin Josh, coming out here, after I have a hard fought match with a true legend in Glory Braddock, you have to not only attack her but attack me. And as we just saw on the footage, you decided that you wanted to choke me out in the middle of the ring!”

The crowd boos as Owen looks around.

Owen: “We all know what you were hoping to do. Oh, it’s not what it looked like there. I mean there, you came out, continuing to play the bully because you still are stuck on things from a long time ago. You’re even the reigning US champion. You’ve got that over me and yet, I’m rent free in your head. And you wanted not to make me pass out in the ring. Oh no. That was just what happened. And you could’ve hurt me bad. Thank you to the officials here in SCW and to Glory Braddock for getting Josh off me.”

Owen pauses again.

Sharper: “He’s very right there.”

Lyman: “Definitely a scary situation to say the least.”

Owen: “But the video showed it there…you wanted me to tap. You wanted me to give up, right? Well, Josh…I’m right here if you want to try again.”

Owen looks around.

Owen: “You got me last week. Had to again hit me from behind. Blindside. Keep it going. Because Josh, I have a little idea. We have an event you know damn well and maybe I’ll give you one thing you want…all the attention in the world. The greatest in his own mind…nah, that’s not fair. You’re actually good in the ring. The record speaks for it. But you’re not living up to it. But I’ll give you the spotlight. And you can try again with me at Rise to Greatness XIX! How about that?”

The crowd roars as Owen looks around.

Owen: “Would you all want that? Give Josh another shot to take me out…and in the process, we’ll see if he can do it straight up!”

The crowd cheers as Owen looks around. Just then “Duality” starts to play. The crowd boos as Owen turns to the entrance way. A few moments pass before Josh Hudson walks out from the back, wearing a suit, and brandishing the SCW United States Championship title over his waist. He holds a microphone in his other hand. The crowd boos loudly as Owen walks over to the ropes and leans on them. Hudson slowly brings the microphone to his mouth as the music fades out.

Hudson: “Well Owen, you’ve heard yourself speak. Now it’s time for you to listen to me.”

Owen: “Be my guest, Josh.”

Hudson smirks.

Hudson: “For once, Owen, you’re actually right. You passing out…that was a happy accident. I’ll never be angry about feeling someone pass out thanks to my hands in that ring, but that’s not what I wanted. See, Owen, to me…you’re a quitter. That’s all you are. That’s what I’ve always had a problem with and you’ve never really redeemed yourself for it. You never actually did the time for your childishness, but here we are and Papa Hudson needs to give you the ass kicking your dad isn’t here to give you.”

Owen: “How touching!”

Hudson: “It is. And to that end, you and me at Rise to Greatness…I’ll happily kick your ass there.”

The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Oh my!”

Knots: “Hudson is bringing the wood shed to Vegas!”

Hudson: “Do you tell your uncle or I? Or he’s probably watching. I hope he is. Then again, maybe he should keep watching. Because I hope you know what you’ve signed up for. This is going to be a wrestling lesson. Whatever Daisy put you through, that’s going to be walk in the park because I don’t have to worry about a negative star review for my training school and well…Owen…you can just reconsider it now. Quit again. Save yourself the embarrassment.”

The crowd boos.

Owen: “Well Josh, I’m not going to back down. In fact, I think I have another challenge to make. We got you and I at Rise to Greatness-“

Hudson: “What? Title on the line? Going to just angle for a title shot. Have you really grown up enough to handle the pressure?”

Owen: “Not that Huddie, but if you’ve got it, I’ll happily take it. No…I think I have a better idea. One of us leaves happy at Rise to Greatness…because how about you and I face off in a submission match!”

The crowd erupts. Josh smirks as Owen looks right at the entrance.

Lyman: “Owen giving Josh what he wants!”

Hudson: “Are you that stupid? That arrogant?”

Hudson chuckles.

Hudson: “Oh…Owen…oh to be young and dumb. I’ll make you tap, bitch!”

Owen: “Good luck trying!”

The crowd roars as “Here We Go” plays in the arena. Hudson shakes his head and just turns to the back. Owen Lee steps back and smirks.

Sharper: “Owen Lee challenging Josh Hudson to a submission match at Rise to Greatness!”

Knots: “Well I hope he enjoys tapping out!”

Lyman: “Owen no fear. Not intimidated by Josh Hudson and he wants to make Josh have to tap out to him!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

The scene opens up backstage to see Holly Adams and GiGi Aries talking in the corner of their locker room. The Artist Formerly Known as Clamidiya, and a whole bunch of other names, most recently Christy-Lizbeth, stands across from them. Cid Turner watches in the background.

Holly: “Look, last week…you…it didn’t work.”

Christy-Lizbeth: “Well, it was one-“

GiGi: “I’m sorry, but she’s right.”

Christy-Lizbeth: “I mean, I won…that’s more than-“

GiGi: “Now. We don’t need you to point fingers. Everyone develops in their own way.”

Holly: “And while you may have won, there just wasn’t that BAM! That OOMPH! That-“

GiGi: “That POW!”

Christy-Lizbeth: “What are you-“

Holly: “And if you’re going to have that name we gave you last week, for all the faults of others with similar names, you need that SHAZAM!”

Christy-Lizbeth: “What is SHAZAM?”

Holly: “Something you need to ask yourself.”

GiGi: “We could tell you, but there must be some self discovery here. So you’ll need to figure that out. But we will need to make sure you don’t forget about this quest.”

Holly: “Of course. And I know exactly what your name will be. Where’s the Beef?”

Where’s the Beef?: “Excuse me?”

Holly: “Exactly. It’s perfect.”

GiGi: “Inspired to say the least.”

Holly: “Where’s the Beef? You need to find it. And until then, you shall be reminded of it. And make sure they get the intro video right for her next match. Question mark and all!”

Cid just shakes his head in the back ground as Where’s the Beef? Looks a bit confused and GiGi and Holly admire their plan.

Konrad Raab in action

“Violence Fetish” by Disturbed plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, wearing red and black face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of ice blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands before he crouches down on the floor, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, from Cologne, Germany, he is The Ice Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos before Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes As he's in the ring, Konrad without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head. He paces as we cut across the ring to show a larger man, wearing black jeans, black elbow pads, taped fists, and long black hair.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Muncie, Indiana, he is Garry “The Biking Badass” Terrence!”

The crowd cheers a bit as Terrence looks around before turning back to Raab. He punches his right fist into his left palm.

Sharper: “Konrad Raab wanted to face anyone. And one of our local talents, looking to make a name for himself.”

Lyman: “Looks like someone who may be able to handle himself too. Especially if Raab wants to turn this into a fight.”

The bell sounds as Terrence steps up and brings his hands up. He rushes to Raab who steps up and nails him with a hard right hand. Terrence staggers and Raab cuffs him with a hard European uppercut. The crowd ohs as Terrence hits the mat. He then starts to get up and Raab steps up and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Terrence falls back to the corner and Raab just continues to hammer away, grabbing the back of his head and just drilling him over and over with hard right hands. The crowd ohs and boos as the official calls for the break.

Raab lets go and shoves him down before walking around the ring. Terrence starts to look up, blood coming down the left side of his face as his brow over his left eye has been split. He starts to get up and staggers forward and Raab lets out a yell as he runs at him and drills him with a lariat, causing him to spin out in the air and drop to the mat.

Sharper: “My God! Raab is mauling this man.”

Knots: “Mauling. He just caused Terrence to question whether he’s left the earthly plane!”

Raab walks around the ring and turns back to Terrence and drags him up before kneeing him in the face and then again before nailing him with another European uppercut. Terrence hits the mat and rolls over. The official gets Raab back as Raab walks around the ring. The official, Michael Constantine, checks on Terrence and Terrence starts to come to, waving him off. Garry Terrence slowly pulls himself up, staggering up and Raab runs past him, handspringing into the ropes and jumping back and grabbing him, planting him with the Ice Storm. Terrence rolls to his back as Raab turns and moves into a lateral press.

Raab pulls him up. The crowd boos as Raab looks around. Constantine looks at him and Raab drags Terrence up and pulls him up and runs him to the corner.

Sharper: “Raab pulling up Garry Terrence now.”

Lyman: “He can barely stand. He’s already bloodied.”

Knots: “Can he even defend himself?”

Lyman: “He’s trying, but Raab is just so driven, so focused.”

Terrence throws a back elbow, but Raab blocks it and knees him in the back and then nails him over and over in the back of the head. Raab then hoists him up and places him on the top rope, facing away from the ring. The crowd roars as Raab then climbs up to the middle rope and clubs Garry Terrence repeatedly. Constantine tells him to get down as Raab then grabs Terrence by the waist and steps up to the top rope before falling back and hitting a top rope German Superplex! The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “A German Superplex! Terrence landing on the back of his head and neck.”

Lyman: “He’s out. He’s got to be out. Just count the three or end it Constantine!”

Raab rolls over as the crowd continues to make noise and Raab rolls Terrence to his back and goes into the lateral press.

1!

2!

3!

The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Raab gets up slowly and steps over Terrence. He looks out at the crowd. Constantine goes to raise his arm, but he pulls away.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Konrad Raab!”

The crowd boos as Raab looks out at the crowd before turning and stepping through the ropes to the floor. He slowly walks around the ring.

Sharper: “Konrad Raab said last week, more people need to take action. That was action.”

Knots: “Tell Garry Terrence that. He’ll be good with no more action.”

Sharper: “Just destruction.”

Raab heads over to the entrance way and then starts to head to the back.

Backstage, we see Hairless Penguin running down the hallway as he runs over to the locker room of LexyCorp. He frantically tries to open the door. He grabs the doorknob, trying to turn it, to no avail. He pounds on the door and it opens. Bear stands on the other side.

Bear: “Hey Penguin! What’s up?!”

Penguin: “Let me in! Let me in!”

Bear: “Hey, relax. Look, be cool-“

Lexy peaks out behind Bear.

Chapel: “Oh…it’s you…I thought it was a killer. I knew my phone had been messed with! Probably tracking me.”

Penguin then slides through and under Bear’s arm. He steps forward and we hear a bang. Penguin jumps.

Penguin: “I saw her! Oh God…they’re going to get me. Close the door!”

Penguin moves Bear out of the way and closes the door.

Bear: “Are we doing to have to get you to piss in a cup. You know you gotta go full frontal of that.”

Penguin: “Don’t you remember! I have two crazy people trying to KILL me!”

Chapel: “You too?!”

Penguin turns to Lexy.

Chapel: “I probably do too. Just saying.”

She is back on her phone, presumably to turn off GPS.

Bear: “Look, you getting into the special sauce. The PCP. Just say no to drugs Penguin.”

Penguin: “BEAR! Kim Williams and Sarah Wolf both said they’d get me….and WOLF! The name is WOLF.”

Bear: “Pfft…yeah and I’m a bear…a black bear.”

Bear then stops. Penguin looks at him.

Penguin: “Bear…what? What? I need you to focus-“

Bear: “Bears are afraid of wolves….and she’s Sarah Wolf?”

Penguin: “Oh God!”

Autumn then walks into the locker room. Penguin jumps.

Chapel: “Hey! That’s my wife!”

Penguin tries to hide behind Bear, before Bear does the same to hide behind Penguin.

Autumn: “What the hell is going on with you two? You’ve been off all day here.”

We then hear something drop. Penguin and Bear jump again and Chapel bends over and picks up her phone.

Chapel: “What?”

Penguin: “Jesus! We-“

Chapel: “You know what. You two need air. You’re cooped up in here and you’re making both my wife and I nervous! Go!”

Penguin: “Wait! Wa-“

Chapel advances on them and Penguin falls back and out of the door. Bear steps out to go and help Bear.

Chapel: “Go for a walk and clear your head. It’ll calm you down! Now I need to figure this…find Ace…get that match for you Autumn.”

Penguin: “Hey Wait!”

Chapel closes the door behind her as she smiles and turns to Autumn.

Autumn: “Still nothing from Ace?”

Chapel: “He’ll be fine!”

Autumn looks at her.

Autumn: “And wait…you have your phone. So Cookie did give it back.”

Chapel: “Yeah! But now I need to get the tracking off this. Clearly that’s why someone was trying to kill you.”

Autumn: “Wait, what?”

Chapel: “It’s fine now.”

Chapel sits down as Autumn tries to make sense of everything as the scene fades to black.

Backstage, Jessica Winters stands with Lester Damron and Tsunami.

Winters: “Welcome back to Breakdown. I’m Jessica Winters here with Tsunami and Lester Damron, and first…where’s Martin Howe III?”

Lester: “He’s no longer representing his son. Understood he was too close. I will be taking over his guidance. Plus, rather rude to ask about others when we’re here. I don’t ask about Ms. Lancaster.”

Winters: “You know exactly why she’s not doing this interview. But-“

Winters is interrupted as we see Jenni Anderson walk into the scene.

Anderson: “Excuse me. You can talk with them later. We have business.”

Lester: “Business, huh?”

Anderson: “Yes. Come with me.”

Anderson walks past as Lester nods to Jessica Winters. Tsunami follows Jenni Anderson as Damron does too.

The One vs. Where’s the Beef?

|| Where’s the Beef? ||

“One Shining Moment” by Luther Vandross plays as the crowd roars a bit. A few moments pass before we see Where’s the Beef? walking out from the back with GiGi Aries and Samuel Davis. Davis looks in the ring and then turns to GiGi. Where’s the Beef? starts to head to the ring, trying to feign confidence.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, accompanied by GiGi Aries and Samuel Davis, from the Haüs of Nirvana, she is Where’s the Beef?!”

They head to the ring and Where’s the Beef? walks up the steel steps and into the ring. Davis walks over to GiGi getting his attention. He instead tells him to sage the ringside area and hands him some. Davis reluctantly lights it, walking around the ring as Aries settles in Where’s the Beef?’s corner. She stretches out as the music fades out.

Sharper: “Well…I don’t even know what to say here. Her name is actually Where’s the Beef?”

Knots: “And she’ll be reminded that she needs to bring it!”

Sharper: “Well she’ll have a challenge beyond that. The One about to make her Breakdown in-ring debut. And she’s been focused on Beard for the last month, even eliminating him in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal!”

The arena goes dark, and slowly smoke begins to rise from the entry way.  "Battle Cry" by Little V begins to play over the PA system...

I hear the Battle Cry

Under the Devil's Sky
The One Winged Angel Screams
It fuels my Hopes and Dreams
The Best Bout Machine

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?

With the stinger of the song hitting, an explosion and pyrotechnics hit, cuing the spotlights to hit, and standing in the entry way is The One with her back turned to the audience, head down, and her right hand up in the air with the number one in the air.  She turns at the waist, looking directly at the ring, and slowly lowers her hand, finger still extended, to point to her destination.  She fully turns and begins her walk to the ring, quickly, but methodically, occasionally slowly down to look around, not necessarily trusting anyone around her to not come rush her and attack her.

Phillips: “Her opponent, making her Breakdown in-ring debut, from your worst personal nightmare, she is The One!”

As The One reaches the ring, she again looks over both shoulders, taking glimpses of the fans, and assuring her safety before entering.  She makes a full lap of the ring, walking, and staring at everyone at ringside, and occasionally looking toward the upper decks.  As she feels the situation is comfortable and safe, she walks to the corner facing the ramp, extending both hands and pointing with one finger toward the entryway, and then turning both palms up and making the motion with both hands to "bring it."  She then slumps into the corner, sitting on the mat, and awaiting her opponent to enter the ring.

Sharper: “The One making her in-ring debut. And just to show how petty the Brand is…they’ve put Where’s the Beef? God…that’s her damn name tonight…to against her to try and undercut Beard.”

Lyman: “Who has an Adrenaline Title match later tonight!”

The bell sounds. Where’s the Beef? turns to Aries who reminds her of what Holly and he have charged her. She nods and turns and runs at The One. She goes for a huge lariat, but The One ducks and Where’s the Beef? staggers forward and nearly falls into the corner. She turns around and The One nails her in the ribs a hard right before kicking her in the ribs and pushing her back to the corner before throwing her across with a huge hip toss. The crowd ohs as Where’s the Beef? rolls over and moves to the corner. The One watches her as she looks around.

Sharper: “The aggressiveness not working there. I don’t know if that’s the SHAZAM as Holly called it.”

Knots: “More of a whiff if you ask me.”

The One then steps up as Where’s the Beef? scrambles to her feet and runs at her and goes for a take down. The One blocks it with a sprawl. She then grabs Where’s the Beef? by the head and pulls up. She yells a bit in pain before The One spins around her and takes her back. She then hooks her legs and Where’s the Beef? starts to move to the ropes as The One grabs at the head and tries to lock in a rear naked choke, but Where’s the Beef? reaches out and grabs the ropes. The One holds on only briefly before letting go and getting back. Where’s the Beef? rolls over and looks up. The One then steps up and stomps her in the chest once and then again. She grabs her and Where’s the Beef? pulls The One through the ropes by the tights. The crowd boos. The One turns and pulls herself back onto the apron as Where’s the Beef? jumps up and dropkicks her in the jaw. The One drops to a knee. Where’s the Beef? grabs The One and pulls her into the ring and hits a knee left. The One pops up and rolls into the ring. Where’s the Beef? goes for the pin.

1!

2!

The One kicks out. She rolls over and Where’s the Beef? gets up. She clubs The One in the back.

Sharper: “She’s figured out something.”

Knots: “Where’s the Beef? has at least brought the offense. I don’t know if its explosive enough!”

Lyman: “What the hell would that be?”

Knots: “Come off the top? Knock her out! Come on. Do something memorable!”

Lyman: “How about win?”

Knots: “That doesn’t pay the bigger bills.”

Lyman: “From who?”

Knots: “Branding!”

Where’s the Beef? clubs The One in the back again and then runs across the ring. She bounces off and The One nails her with a back elbow. Where’s the Beef? pops up and turns around as The One kicks her in the ribs before hooking her up and throwing her over with a vertical suplex. She swivels her hips and gets back up. She then looks straight forward before hitting a second vertical suplex. She swivels her hips again and then pulls her up again. Aries shakes his head as The One hoists Where’s the Beef? up and hits a falcon arrow, completing the One by One. She moves into a pin.

1!

2!

Where’s the Beef? gets her shoulder up. The One looks at her, coldly then getting up.

Sharper: “Where’s…Clamid….God is she terribly named-“

Knots: “Just call it!”

Sharper: “She got her shoulder up. She’s fighting.”

Where’s the Beef? rolls over and The One stomps her in the chest and then again before grabbing her. She turns and whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and The One drops her with a boot. The crowd ohs as Where’s the Beef? rolls over. She crawls to the ropes and starts to get up. The One walks over and grabs her by the hair. She drags her up and kicks her in the ribs. She double underhooks her before sending up for the One Off. She gets her up, but Where’s the Beef? flips up and then bites the forehead of The One. She slides down and then spears her down. She rolls over and gets up. Aries points to her as Davis looks around and Where’s the Beef? looks around before looking at the corner. She then gets up and exits to the apron. The crowd roars as she climbs up to the top rope.

Sharper: “Well I guess she’s listening to you there Knots.”

Knots: “No! She’s on her journey of self-discovery!”

Lyman: “I don’t know how bright this is!”

She gets up to the top rope and The One climbs up to her feet. Where’s the Beef? dives off with her attempt at hitting the Payment, but The One moves out of the way. Where’s the Beef? hits the mat. The One looks at her as she stirs and runs into the ropes and Davis quickly trips her up. The One stops and turns. The official turns and points to Davis and then to Aries and tells them to leave. The crowd roars. Davis loses it as Aries looks down and turns and walks over to Davis and stops him. He then points. They start to walk around the ring as Where’s the Beef stirs. The One just watches them as they walk around the ring before walking over to Where’s the Beef, grabbing her and dropping her, before locking in the One Hit Wonder. She pulls back.

Sharper: “The One Hit Wonder and The One looking right at Aries and Davis as Davis, in a moment of panic, tried to help her!”

Lyman: “She didn’t help her at all!”

Where’s the Beef? just quickly fades out, unconscious from the hold. The official calls for the bell. The bell sounds, but The One keeps her hold locked on.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via submission, The One!”

The crowd looks on as the official turns and tells her it’s over. The One keeps looking at Aries and Davis as Davis turns to Aries. She keeps the hold on. The bell sounds again.

Sharper: “The One has won, but she’s not letting go of the hold!”

Knots: “Let go! It’s a choke. She needs to get out!”

Sharper: “Get her off!”

The One keeps the hold on still as the official tells her to break it. Davis starts to head to the ring as Aries watches. The bell sounds again. The One keeps glaring at the two before we hear Phillips again.

Phillips: “Fans, as the One has not let go, the official has reversed his decision and awarded the match, via disqualification, to Where’s the Beef?”

Sharper: “The official with no choice. The One had a win here. She looked impressive, but get her off of her. She’s potentially harming her permanently!”

Knots: “Davis! Get in there. Find your confidence!”

Sharper: “I’ve never seen something like this. We saw an almost clinical approach at Taking Hold of the Flame. But…she’s not even upset. This…I don’t get this!”

The One keeps the hold on longer as Davis then hops onto the apron and The One now lets go. She gets up and stands up. Davis gulps as The One glances at Where’s the Beef? She then turns and exits the ring as Aries comes to the ring. The official checks on Where’s the Beef? as other officials come to the ring too. The crowd boos as the scene cuts away.

Breakdown opens with Samuel Davis helping Where’s the Beef? back to the Brand locker room. Aries follows after.

Holly: “See! If you had just brought it, you would’ve have been choked out like that.”

Holly sighs.

Holly: “Put her over there.”

Davis moves Where’s the Beef? over to a bench in the room. Cid steps up and walks over in her gear.

Holly: “Unbelievable. We need her to get it through.”

Aries: “It’s why we had to stay back. She has to help herself and-“

Cid: “Can you hear yourselves? Help themselves. They’ve tried. That’s why they’re here!”

Aries: “Cid…your negativity isn’t helping. Do we need to do exercises?”

Holly: “Yeah, Cidnay. You’ve been off-“

Cid: “Off? I…I don’t know. We’re here. You’re pushing them and pushing them. You’ve been running Beard through the ringer for the last month when he just maybe made a stupid mistake. And now you’re messing with them, while there are people wanting help and maybe-“

Holly: “Maybe what Cidnay? Honesty is important. Just you need to be honest with yourself!”

Aries: “Exactly.”

Aries and Holly stand across from Cid. Cid just looks at them and then shakes his head.

Cid: “Yeah…maybe I do.”

Cid turns and walks over and grabs her Adrenaline Championship. He then heads off as Cookie turns and follows after him. Holly and GiGi turn to each other before turning back to Davis and Where’s the Beef?

Sharper: “A bit more tension there. Cid taking issue with Holly and GiGi’s methods.”

“When Legends Rise” plays throughout the arena as the crowd cheers. A few moments pass before Glory Braddock walks out from the back. She looks around the arena and nods and starts to head down to the ring.

Sharper: “Glory Braddock joining us. She had a hard fought match against Owen Lee last week. It ended with Lee victorious.”

Lyman: “Yeah, but a couple of times, she stepped up to help Owen.”

Knots: “Kumbaya didn’t help though!”

Braddock makes her way down the rampway to the ring and up the steel steps. She then walks along the apron and into the ring. She steps forward and poses for a moment before then turning before then going to the corner. She’s handed a microphone by Jason Phillips before turning and walking back to the middle of the ring. She looks around as the music fades out.

Glory: “Sometimes in this sport, you need to the right thing. The problem is that the right thing means a lot of different things. Is the right thing glory for your profession? Is it just being a good person? I had hoped both would come together last week, but well….Owen won and I got a few bumps and bruises.”

Glory pauses a moment.

Glory: “Now, I heard earlier…Owen…you called out Josh. Asked for a submission match.”

Glory smirks.

Glory: “Make his ass tap out!”

The crowd roars. Glory walks around the ring.

Glory: “But that leaves me still waiting and wondering. Don’t worry, kids, I’m not done with the US Title. Not yet. I still want another shot at Josh and let’s face it, one loss isn’t going to stop me. And that gets back to how I started…doing what’s right. Last week, I did what was right not just for me, but for Owen and for professional wrestling. At Rise to Greatness, I want to do what’s right for me and that’s putting me in a position where I have SCW gold back around my waist.”

Glory pauses as the crowd cheers again.

Glory: “And this is a night that I’ve been always around some gold and well, I don’t want to break that streak. Last week, I was this close to winning the US title, but…-“

Just then “King of the World” by Porcelain and the Tramps plays throughout the arena. Glory turns and smirks. The crowd cheers as we then see Christy Matthews walk out from the back.

Sharper: “And that’s the woman who won the US Title match last year at Rise to Greatness!”

Lyman: “And the woman who never got a rematch after losing the title too to Spencer Pryce.”

Knots: “Of course you’d bring that up.”

Lyman: “Just making an observation, Jon.”

Matthews walks down to the ring as Braddock watches her. Matthews walks over to the steel steps and walks up them. She locks eyes with Braddock before wiping her feet and stepping inside. She steps forward and looks at Braddock. She then walks across the ring and is handed a microphone by Phillips. Braddock takes it and comes back to the middle of the ring. The crowd buzzes as the two former World Champions look at one another.

Glory: “Hello Christy.”

Christy: “Hello Glory. I hope you don’t mind me coming out here. Last week, I was supposed to face Alexis Quinne but a nagging injury kept me out a bit longer. And well, Glory, much like you…I have designs on SCW gold.”

The crowd roars.

Christy: “Now, I may have wanted it to be the World Championship, but as you know, I wasn’t in the Taking Hold of the Flame, thanks to that nagging injury. But I also have waited long enough about trying to maybe take something back. I was wrong about one young star in this business…but I don’t like being wrong too much.”

Glory: “I know what you mean. We try to do what’s best for the future and yet…it’s up to them.”

Christy: “Very, very true.”

The crowd buzzes.

Christy: “Now, I didn’t mean to cut you off from your message, but frankly, we have the same message and-“

“Guilty All The Same” by Linkin Park (ft. Rakim) plays. The crowd buzzes a bit as Glory and Christy turn to the entrance way before we see Danny Darko walking out from the back. The crowd cheers as Danny Darko looks around, smiling. He enjoys the reaction.

Sharper: “We were expecting him. Danny Darko joining SCW officially!”

Lyman: “He said he’d have an interview. Guess he’s taking the initiative!”

Darko milks it for a few moments and smiles before starting to walk to the ring. Glory looks a bit confused as Christy looks at him and then turns to Glory. Darko walks down to the ring. He looks in the ring and holds his hands up, almost as if to say sorry. Darko then walks around the ring and goes over to the timekeeper’s table. He shakes Jason Phillips’s hand and then asks for a microphone. He’s given one and he turns back to the ring. He then walks up the steel steps. He walks into the ring. He then steps forward and extends his hand first to Glory. Glory looks at it reluctantly and shakes it before Darko turns and extends his hand to Christy. Christy also reluctantly shakes it before Darko steps back.

Darko: “Look, sorry…I know. I know. I’m interrupting. SCW had something planned later, but I couldn’t resist coming out here. You, Glory, were one of the people I wanted to specifically say hi to. Well, it’s just nice to be in an SCW ring. This is a place that I’ve always been hesitant to join, but I think now is the time. Thanks to Shaun Cruze for signing the contract and well…to come out here, meet two of the champions, to be in front of this crowd…”

The crowd cheers. Darko smiles.

Darko: “Look, they say you need to make an impact-“

Glory: “We get that Danny, but we were having a conversation and-“:

Darko: “Look, I know, I know. I overstepped. Look, I’ll just-“

We then hear boos as we see Glory looks up and we see Jenni Anderson walking out with Lester Damron and Tsunami. They make their way half way and Jenni says something to Lester, holding a few bills. Lester turns to Tsunami and Tsunami then bolts for the ring.

Sharper: “Wait a minute! Tsunami coming out…Jenni Anderson is with him!”

Knots: “A deal has been made!”

Tsunami slides into the ring and gets up and Matthews runs over to him and grabs him, but Tsunami lifts her up and turns and throws her over the top rope. She lands on her feet and rolls through wincing in pain. Darko backs up as Tsunami turns and runs at Braddock. Braddock steps up and nails him with a forearm shot and then another and another before jumping up for a Shekinah Glory. Darko rolls to the floor and watches.

Sharper: “Tsunami going in and going after Glory! And remember, Tsunami was embarrassed by Glory in the US Title tournament two months ago!”

Lyman: “No doubt a great way to motivate the big man!”

Sharper: “Glory trying to lock in the Shekinah Glory!”

Jenni looks on as Glory tries to take Tsunami down, but Tsunami lifts her up and throws her into the corner with a powerbomb. The crowd ohs. Glory grimaces in pain and Tsunami then runs at her and nails her with a running body avalanche. The crowd ohs. Tsunami backs up and goes to the middle of the ring before running at her again and nailing her a second time with the Tsunami!

Sharper: “Tsunami again! Just crushing Glory in the corner!”

Knots: “Jenni wants another one!”

Tsunami backs up and Jenni holds up a finger for one more and Tsunami moves to the middle of the ring and runs at Glory again, this time, turning, into a vicious hip check to the head. Glory falls to the side as Christy rolls back in as Tsunami backs up and officials run past Damron and Anderson. They enter the ring. Tsunami backs up as Damron heads to the ring, motioning to him. Tsunami looks around as the crowd boos. Christy backs up and checks on Glory as Darko walks around and does the same. Glory winces in pain as Tsunami slowly exits the ring and drops down. Anderson just smiles as Damron leads Tsunami away. The scene fades to black.

Backstage, we see Penguin looking around as he jogs past the camera. Bear looks around too, even pushing past the cameraman.

Penguin: “Come on! I think she’s still after us.”

Bear: “Did you see her?!”

Penguin: “I don’t know. I don’t care. I saw something that looks like her and I’m not about to find out if she’s going to make good on her plan to FLAY ME!”

Bear: “Okay, good. Because I hope you’re realize that that sounds painful, my dude.”

Penguin: “Duh!”

He looks around and they then turn and run over to one door and try to open it, unable to as they are more panicking than anything, just pulling on the knobs instead of turning them.

Penguin: “Come on!”

Bear: “Everyone is such an asshole. Locking the doors! Isn’t there an open door policy or something?”

Penguin: “Well they may have to change-“

Bear: “Yes, and we’re being chased by a FLAYER…like Buffy! But NOT HOT and WORSE!”

Bear tries to open a door before Penguin moves to the next one. We then hear a clap as Penguin jumps. Bear drops down to a play dead. Penguin turns and nudges him.

Penguin: “Bear! Get up!”

Bear *whispering*: “I’m playing dead.”

Penguin: “That’s if you’re attacked by a bear.”

GiGi Aries then walks forward.

Aries: “What seems to be your problem? You both…the negativity…the anxiety…I can feel it from you.”

Penguin: “Well you’d be anxious too if you were going to be killed on live television!”

Bear: “Is it a bear?”

Aries: “I am no bear. Though some have joked I looked like one given my hairstyle. I am however someone who can help.”

Bear rolls over and shuffles up. We then hear Holly Adams walking over to Aries.

Holly: “Hey…can you get Brittany to get us some water…-“

She stops and looks.

Holly: “What are they doing here?”

Aries: “They need help.”

Aries turns to Holly.

Holly: “Do they….wait? Lexy not doing enough for them?”

Bear: “Oh shit. You’re Holly Adams. They’re bigger than I though-“

Penguin: “Can it Bear! They may help us!”

Aries: “I don’t know if she’ll welcome this.”

Penguin: “Hey! We just need help and can we go. I mean, we’re just sitting ducks here!”

Bear: “You’re a Penguin. Don’t confuse yourself! Snap of it!”

Holly: “Well, we could help…for a price. We only help those who can help themselves.”

Bear: “Yeah and if someone-“

Penguin again elbows Bear.

Penguin: “We don’t have money, but-“

Holly: “That’s alright. There’s something else. Look…give me five minutes. I’ll have Brittany type something up. GiGi…mind protecting them. This is far more important.”

GiGi: “I think so.”

Penguin: “Hurry!”

Bear: “Yeah! Hurry! I don’t want to watch Penguin get flayed!”

Holly heads off as GiGi walks over to Penguin and Bear and leans in.

GiGi: “So Mr….Penguin. I hear you once were referred to as Cid Turner. Is that true?’

The scene cuts away.

Sharper: “Well as Cid Turner is about to compete, looks like the Brand is trying to find a new client or clients.”

Lyman: “More people to take advantage of-“

Knots: “Hey! They’re running a business and can help! Great!”

Beard vs. Cid Turner

SCW Adrenaline Championship

The arena lights go completely black. Lightning begins to streak around the entrance way, as "The Terminator" theme blares through the sound system. Smoke rises from the stage as the lightning slowly dies down. As the music continues and the smoke clears, a figure turning slowly rises to its feet in the smoke. The music then transitions into "(Oh My) Darling Don’t Cry” by Run the Jewels as Beard reveals himself, stepping out from the smoke, with the crowd erupting in cheers.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit and is for the SCW Adrenaline Championship! First, the challenger, from New York City, New York, he is Beard!”

Beard makes his way to the ring, taking some time out to lean into the crowd. He then runs and slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Once inside the ring, Beard climbs to the top rope and strokes his beard before extending his arms out and doing a backflip off of the top rope, landing on his feet, and dropping to one knee as the music dies down.

Sharper: “Cid Turner offered this match. We thought it was to put Beard in his place after winning last week, but it seems that Cid Turner wanted to genuinely face him for the title.”

Lyman: “And when Beard has put in the work to both learn and move on from his mistake while the Brand milks it for their own benefit.”

The lights slowly dim down. The crowd buzzes in anticipation, many of them taking their phones out and lighting up the arena with their flashlights. After a few moments of silence, “Dark Child” by Marlon Williams plays as the lights flash back on. The big screen shows several highlights of Cid Turner's career as the song continues to play. The crowd boos as Cid makes his way onto the stage, looking tensely out into the crowd with the SCW Adrenaline Championship around his waist. Cookie Dreams comes skipping out behind him, receiving a mixed reaction from the crowd as she gives Cid an exaggerated thumbs up while he continues looking out into the crowd. Cid takes a moment to let it all soak in before he begins his walk down the ramp with Cookie trailing not far behind, happily waving to nearby fans.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by Cookie Dreams, representing the Positive State, the SCW Adrenaline Champion, the Fallen King, Cid Turner!”

“My little blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy

One day you'll grow up and be distressed

One day you'll grow up and reject everything

I've set out for you”

Cid continues his walk down the ramp and keeps his eye on the ring while continually muttering to himself. Cid reaches the ring as Cookie stays on the outside, making her way around the corner. Cid climbs up the steps, slowly walking across the apron to the corner and pulling himself up onto the second rope, standing on the turnbuckle and looking around the arena while taking a deep breath. He takes the Adrenaline Championship from off his waist and holds it into the air.

“My only dear long wasteful son

One day you'll wonder what you've become”

The music begins to fade out as Cid climbs down from the ropes and enters the ring. He leans through the ropes and hands the Adrenaline Championship to the official, Aaron Demitra, who takes it. Cid leans up against the corner and strokes his overgrown beard. Demitra steps back, holding the Adrenaline Title over his head as the SCW Adrenaline Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Cid Turner focused on competition. And maybe that’s just what he wants. Going back to his roots since he returned a couple of years ago.”

Lyman: “Cid’s also just seemed increasingly annoyed by the Brand. He called them out earlier for what they’re telling Where’s the Beef?”

Knots: “Hey! Life coaching is an art, not just a science. There are different approaches. Why there are three different approaches in the Brand!”

Demitra hands off the title and steps back. He looks at Beard and then Turner and then calls for the bell. The bell sounds. Cid and Beard step out as they look at one another. They then step up and lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Beard turns into a side headlock. He pulls back as Cid reaches around and then pulls up on the arms of Beard. He spins around into a overhead wrist lock. Beard winces as Cid breaks Beard’s arms and wrenches the arm. Beard winces and leans forward. Cid jerks on the arm. Beard then rolls forward and then bridges up before turning and ducking under Cid’s arm and around before moving into a side headlock. He then takes him over with a headlock takedown.

Cid starts to get up, Beard holding on. Cid pulls him back into the ropes. He fires him off. Beard bounces off and Cid steps up and Beard shoulders him down. Cid hits them at. Beard runs into the ropes. Cid gets up and drops down in front of Beard. Beard hops over and bounces off the other side and Cid gets up and goes for a hip toss. Beard follows up and kicks him in the ribs and then grabs him and whips him across. Cid hits the corner as Beard runs after and Cid gets a boot up. Beard runs into it and hits the mat hard. Cid then grabs his legs and flips through into a jackknife pin.

Lyman: “And remember – no countouts in Adrenaline division matches. So Cid can draw him out.”

Sharper: “Beard’s looking to take a risk though!”

Cid starts to get up as Beard watches him. He then runs over to the ropes and slingshots over to the apron. Cid gets up and Beard runs along the apron and then jumps up, going for a running shooting star press. Cid ducks and moves forward. Beard flips through, landing on his feet. He spins around and Cid runs at him and grabs him and pushes him back hard into the steel steps. The crowd ohs. Beard rolls over in pain. Cid turns and grabs him and pulls him up. He then looks back at the ring. He then grabs Beard and lifts him up for a back suplex only to slam him onto the apron. The crowd ohs. Cid turns and looks around before grabbing the ropes and pulling himself up to it. He stomps Beard in the chest once and then again and again. Beard rolls into the ring. He slowly starts to get up as Cid climbs up to the top rope. Beard staggers up to his feet and turns as Cid dives off with a Denver Diving Kick. Beard hits the mat. Cid turns and goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Denver Diving Kick connects! Cid right into a pin.”

Sharper: “Beard with a big move. That circular slam, the Drop Top.”

Lyman: “Needed it just to recover. To give a breath.”

Knots: “Maybe he doesn’t deserve that. He can get overwhelmed by the Positive State!”

Beard rolls over and stirs as Cid rolls over. He starts to get up and Beard runs up behind him and rolls him up with a rolling clutch pin.

He gets up and Beard jumps up onto his shoulders. The crowd roars. Cid however then falls forward and Beard goes chest first into the top turnbuckle. The crowd ohs. Beard winces, falling back and Cid drags him back before hitting an inverted front face lock into a backbreaker before hitting a second one and then completing the Ode to Caesar.

Knots: “Bow down to Caesar, Beard!”

Sharper: “Just too much. Beard went big again. Cid had it scouted and then the Ode to Caesar. And now a pin!”

Cid goes for the pin.

Beard gets his shoulder up. The crowd roars. Cid rolls off and looks around. He gets up and grabs Beard. He pulls him in and places his head between his legs. Beard crawls forward. Cid remains down and slowly rolls out of the corner. He holds his lower back and slowly gets up and Beard then jumps up and hits the Sides and Dazed. Cid hits the mat. Beard dives onto him for the pin.

Cid gets his shoulder up, just in time. The crowd ohs. Beard looks at Demitra who confirms it before Beard fights up and moves to the corner. He exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. Cid remains down and Beard looks down. He jumps off for the Mario Smash-Beard, but Cid rolls out of the way. Beard stomps and rolls through. He gets up as Cid gets up and Beard runs at him and Cid gets an elbow up. Beard staggers back and Cid runs forward and jumps up with the running enziguri. Beard drops to the mat.

Sharper: “Cid again with a stop. A breaker.”

Knots: “Beard just trying to keep the pace going. He can fly. He can be faster. The Masta of Speed has slowed down, but he can’t match the experience and confidence!”

Lyman: “And right now, Cid is trying to figure out what to do.”

Beard rolls over and slowly gets up. Cid walks over to him and hoists him up onto his shoulders and hits a gutbuster. Beard rolls through. Cid then turns and exits to the apron. Cid arches his back in pain and rolls over.

Sharper: “Off the top! Beard hit that frankensteiner! Cid Turner hurt!”

Lyman: “He’s got the back issues. And maybe some of them are starting to play a role!”

Cid grimaces in pain as Beard looks around and then to the crowd. They cheer as Beard then runs over to Cid, grabbing his arm and his leg and dragging him closer to the corner. He turns and exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope. The crowd roars. He gets to the top, perched, before slowly standing up. He steadies himself and goes for the Flying Grayson, but Cid rolls towards the corner. Beard hits the mat and rolls forward, holding his head and neck. He stumbles forward but Cid gets up and grabs him by the arm, hooking it in a hammerlock and spinning him around into the Sovereign Takeover. Beard rolls over to his back. The crowd roars and the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and STILL SCW Adrenaline Champion, Cid Turner!”

Cid rolls over and turns to Beard. He leans over to him, placing his hand on his chest and saying something to him.

Sharper: “Cid Turner rolling out of the way. Beard thought he had it, but Cid, as he has so many times before, found something deep.”

Lyman: “He’s now talking to Beard. This is…different.”

Sharper: “Cid Turner still the Adrenaline Champion. Beard came that close to winning the title.”

Cid Turner gets up and walks back as he’s handed the SCW Adrenaline Championship. Cid looks at it and then turns and throws it over his shoulder. He turns and looks out at the crowd and nods before turning and exiting to the floor. Cookie Dreams comes over and excitedly congratulates him. He then heads to the back as Beard remains down in the ring. The camera remains on him as he slowly sits up. He leans forward, wincing in pain and looking around. The crowd applauds him as he looks around. Beard just nods and shakes his head as he rolls over. He then slowly crawls to the ropes and to the floor. The camera remains with him for a bit longer.

Sharper: “This crowd giving Beard a hand for his effort tonight.”

Lyman: “He’ll break through. It was his biggest match and he damn sure didn’t disappoint.”

Sharper: “Let’s now go backstage to Jessica Winters.”

Backstage, the scene opens up to see Jessica Winters standing with Deanna Frost and Selena Frost.

Winters: “Thank you Adam. I’m here with Deanna Frost and Deanna, you challenged Adam. You’re facing him in mere moments. You wanted to put your title on the line, one week after defeating Jenni Anderson.”

Deanna: “And he didn’t want that. And I know, I know. Some people are going to say, why am I fighting Selena’s fights. I’m not. Selena even told me to just move on. But I wanted to do this. I had to deal with Jenni Anderson. Someone who thought they were owed something. Well Adam used to be like that and I heard his speech last week and figured, why not get him to put his money where his mouth is in singles action. So I stepped up. Even thought I’d sweeten the pot. He's focused on Selena. Fine…but he better focus on me tonight. I’m looking to prove myself too.”

Winters: “And well-“

Kimberly Williams then bursts into the interview. Selena turns and gets ready to fight as Deanna turns to her too.

Kim: “Hey! DeeDee! Good talk there. Good fire. Juneau. Cool down. I’m here to talk.”

Deanna: “Aren’t you supposed to be putting the fear of god into a Farmstead Friend?”

Kim: “Oh I can do lots of things. I multi-task. And well, I couldn’t help but come here and tell you how disappointed I am. Not angry. Disappointed.”

Deanna: “What are you talking about?”

Kim: “You’re the TV Champion. You’re Miss Integrity Jr. Adam doesn’t want the match. Well, boo-hoo. Force him! Use your Frosty ways! Don’t you care about the title?!”

Deanna: “You really trying that on me?”

Kim: “Why not? You’re not defending it. Shouldn’t it be defended all the time. Every week. Well, maybe, maybe you need something big. You need someone to get your attention. Oh well….I gotta go commit murder!”

Kim turns and skips off as Deanna shakes her head.

Selena: “Ignore her. We all should.”

Deanna: “Yeah…”

Deanna turns and heads off with Selena.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost faces Adam Allocco when we return on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see Autumn Valentine coming back into the locker room of LexyCorp. Lexy is now on her phone, presumably doing other things.

Autumn: “Are you still-“

Lexy: “No! I’m not an idiot! Just not distracted. Just starting to come up with big plans-“:

Autumn: “Big plans? Well you know that Penguin and Bear are with Holly and GiGi?”

Lexy: “What?! Stealing talent?! Please! Bear and Penguin have it good here with the Happy Farmstead Friends and oh, Lionel Barkz would be all over them. Just…it’s probably nothing. Here…”

Lexy dials on his phone and then waits, smiling at Autumn.

Autumn: “I’m telling you-“

Lexy: “It’s not that I don’t trust you. I trust them!”

She waits a moment longer before there’s an answer as Lexy has it on speakerphone.

Penguin: “Oh God…we-“

Lexy: “Penguin! Where are you?”

Penguin: “Lexy? Look. Not now. We’re being-“

Holly: “Just give me that.”

There’s some shuffling before the call ends. Lexy looks at the phone, stunned.

Lexy: “What the actual hell?! They’re STEALING talent! They needed help and-“

Autumn: “And with them…”

Autumn pauses.

Lexy: “Look, there has to be a logical explanation!”

Autumn: “Right now, I don’t care! They screwed me out of the Adrenaline Championship with Cid and Datura and now, if they’re with them…”

Lexy: “You know, for someone who doesn’t give an eff, you-“

Autumn: “Lexy! We’ve moved on from that!”

Lexy: “Yes, I know, my love! We’re married!”

Lexy smiles. Autumn nods.

Autumn: “We are-“

Lexy: “Look, I’ll figure it out.”

Autumn: “Or we go find them and find out the truth.”

Lexy: “Oh…okay…but…wait…you’re believing! YOU BELIEVE! OH MY GOD! LET’S GO!”

Autumn and Lexy head off.

Deanna Frost vs. Adam Allocco

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs "The Queen's Guard" Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. The SCW Television Championship sits around her waist. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet. Selena Frost then walks out with her and joins her, holding the SCW World Championship.

Phillips: “The following contest is a non-title match scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, accompanied by the SCW World Champion, Selena Frost, she is from Manhattan, New York, the SCW Television Champion, she is 'The Queen's Guard', Deanna Frost!"

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Selena follows. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the Queen's Guard jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring! Selena watches her, applauding her.

On the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to normal. She takes off her TV Championship, handing it to her wife. Selena takes it and walks over to the announce position. She sits down, placing both titles in front of her.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost challenging Adam Allocco as we have well established tonight. Non-title by Adam’s choice. Selena Frost, the World Champion, joining us. She’ll face Adam Allocco, defending her World Title against Adam at Rise to Greatness XIX. Selena?”

Lyman: “Welcome!”

Knots: “Yeah…”

Selena: “Thanks for having me. Adam wanted me to watch. I’ll watch. I’ll watch him do the right things for now.”

The arena lights shutter off. A single beam of golden light is cast down onto the center of the stage, accompanied by a loud bass rumbling from the sound system. A light snowfall of sliver confetti falls within the pillar of light. The rough guitar chords of 'Wired' by JJ Wilder strike the sound system. Adam steps out, head hung low, into the light. He slowly looks up, a blinding flash of light accompanies him dropping down onto his knee. He raises his arms, almost as if he's calling out to God.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Rochester, New York, he is the Renaissance Man and the 2022 Taking Hold of the Flame winner, Adam Allocco!”

“Fast cars good life what you waiting for?
Grow up perfect life knocking at your door
I’ve been working for myself since seventeen
Taking orders getting low on self-esteem”

Adam stands up and shoots a pose where he flexes his biceps before kicking his foot up into the air and swinging towards the ramp. He saunters down slowly, while he cocks a wily smile toward any nearby cameras. He forms a triangle with both hands.

“Wake up, same clothes, off I go to hell again
Making money, sinking when I’m trying to swim
I’m tired but I know a guy that has a cure for that
I’m wired, that’s the only way that I stay golden….”

Adam struts up the ring steps, now whipping his jacket to reveal his rehabbed midsection, then posing once more against the ropes out on the apron. He kicks up and over and lands on his feet. He tosses the jacket to the referee nonchalantly.

“There’s something better than this
I crack my teeth, bite down and grab it
Need something better than this
Break through the prison of my habits”

Adam immediately heads over to a corner and forms the triangle hand gesture again. He then looks at Deanna before looking at Selena. Adam turns back and stretches out by pulling on the ropes.

Sharper: “Adam Allocco with a stunning turn around. Hit rock bottom earlier this year. Was fired. Then returned, getting clean. He has regular drug and breathalyser tests.”

Selena: “He’s finally grown up. He finally had to. And he was impressive at Taking Hold of the Flame. But he also made clear he’s the same person. I don’t know how long that will last. But he brings it at Rise to Greatness, as I said, I’ll shake his hand there.”

Knots: “Sounds a little judgmental to me.”

Selena: “I’ve had the issue of addiction too. I know how hard it is. But he’s getting a lot to him, much of it earned. I want to make sure he keeps on it. As I said, he’s succeeded. He can disagree. He’s going to have to accept it though. I don’t plan on losing this title.”

The bell sounds as Adam walks out. Deanna steps out too. The two watch one another and Adam lunges forward and Deanna kicks him in the thigh. Adam winces and steps back. He nods as Deanna watches him. She smirks a bit as Adam watches her and then lunges in again. Deanna hits another shoot kick to the thigh. Adam steps back as Deanna smiles and Adam nods and walks around the ring. He then lunges to her and Deanna goes for a third kick, but Adam catches it and pulls her in. Deanna forearms him in the jaw. She then forearms him again and again. She gets Adam into the ropes and grabs him by the head. He pulls on it with a headlock. Adam tries to fight away as Deanna nails him in the head with a hard right. Adam falls to the corner. Deanna then climbs up and stands over him while in the corner. He nails her with a couple of hard rights before Adam shoves her back. Deanna rolls through.

Sharper: “Adam in the ring for the first time with Deanna and Deanna has shown herself capable in the ring. TV Champion.”

Lyman: “Yeah, but maybe Adam had a bit of that cockiness. Deanna all over him. Here she comes again!”

Selena: “She won’t be giving up.”

Deanna runs back at him and climbs up and nails him with a couple of hard rights. He shoves her back again. Deanna rolls through. She gets to her feet and runs forward and Adam steps forward, catches her as she goes to jump up again and Adam lifts her up and throws her stomach first on the top rope. She bounces from the impact and Adam then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running boot to the side of Deanna’s head. She turns and falls back into the ring. Adam then glances at Selena as Deanna tries to get back up, somewhat dazed, only for Adam to scoop her up and slam her down. Deanna winces and holds her lower back. She gets up and Adam scoops her up again and slams her again. The crowd responds again before Deanna stirs and Adam steps over her shoulders. He falls back, locking in a figure four headlock and Deanna moves around, frantically moving to the ropes, respecting his skill. Deanna gets to the ropes, hooking them with her legs as Adam holds on.

Adam lets go and rolls back. Deanna rolls away, moving to the ropes.

Lyman: “Deanna finding the ropes and smartly getting to them now.”

Sharper: “Adam showing quickly his own skills. It’s in some ways a different in styles.”

Knots: “You watching, Selena?!”

Selena: “Don’t worry about me. Adam may be doing that too much.”

Adam turns and gets up as Deanna grabs at the ropes. Adam clubs her in the back and then spins her around. He chops her. The crowd woos. Adam whips her across the ring. Deanna bounces off and Adam hits a back elbow. He then turns and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running knee drop. He rolls through and turns and goes for the pin.

Deanna kicks out. She rolls over as Adam turns and grabs her by the head. He then pulls back on her arm and tries to lock in a Buffalo sleeper hold, but Deanna falls back and kicks Adam in the shoulder once and then again. Adam steps back. He nods as Deanna rolls over and gets up and Adam kicks her in the ribs before hooking her up and hitting a snap suplex. He turns and gets up and grabs her arm. He pulls her up.

Sharper: “Adam almost looking to just slowly wear down Deanna.”

Knots: “He’s very different than Jenni Anderson, who I think still got hosed. She had clear demands. And you, Selena, ignored them.”

Selena: “Because she didn’t deserve my attention. I face those who earn it. It’s why I’m here. And it’s why I show Adam some respect even if I’m not sure about him personally.”

Knots: “What about professionally?”

Selena: “He’s looking good so far. Never count out Deanna though.”

Adam looks at Selena and then knees Deanna in the ribs. He hooks her up by the head again and goes for a vertical suplex. He connects. He floats over.

Deanna kicks out. Both get up and Adam kicks her again. He whips her into the ropes. Deanna bounces off and Adam scoops her up, but Deanna spins onto his shoulders and drops down to her feet. She kicks him in the ribs before backing up and hitting a dropkick to the side of his head. Adam rolls over. He holds his head and gets up as Deanna then grabs him and hits the Spring Fling DDT. Adam rolls through to his back. Deanna turns and hooks the leg.

Adam gets his shoulder up. He rolls over and Deanna gets up and runs to the ropes, jumping to the middle rope and diving back with the lionsault. The crowd ohs. She follows up for another pin.

Selena: “Told you she won’t quit! Come on!”

Sharper: “Lionsault into a cover!”

Lyman: “Adam tries to even roll out of dodge!”

Adam kicks out. He sits up and rolls over as Deanna grabs him and pulls him up to a kneeling position. Deanna forearms him in the jaw once and then again and finally a third time. He leans back a bit. Deanna turns and runs into the ropes. She jumps to the middle rope and dives back going for the Cold Shoulder, a la Selena, but Adam ducks. Deanna rolls through. She gets up and runs at Adam who scoops her up and hits another scoop slam. Deanna rolls over and gets up and Adam scoop slams her again. Deanna gets up yet again only for Adam to try a third scoop slam, but Deanna slides behind him. Adam then hits a back elbow before turning and pulling her in before glancing behind him and hitting a vertical suplex into the corner. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Allocco suplexing Deanna into the turnbuckle. Nowhere to go.”

Knots: “Looking like Deanna may be in for a lot.”

Lyman: “I don’t know if you’ve noticed what I have Selena-“

Selena: “I have. The son of a bitch isn’t sharing much. All vertical suplexes and scoop slams.”

Lyman: “Have to admit, it’s clever. And he’s using it to show how on his game he is. There’s confidence there.”

Adam sits up and turns and grabs Deanna and drags her out from the corner. He then geos for the pin.

Deanna gets her shoulder up. Adam rolls off. He turns and then walks over and steps over her and locks in the camel clutch. He pulls back as Deanna grimaces in pain. Deanna grabs at the arm of Adam as Adam leans back. He glances at Selena briefly before looking forward. Deanna struggles as the official checks on her. She yells out no as Adam keeps pulling back. She reaches out and starts to crawl as she can, getting one arm free. She keeps trying as Adam keeps pulling back. The crowd cheers as Deanna moves a bit more and a bit more before Adam gets up and grabs her and pulls her back, but Deanna rolls to her back and kick him in the chest and then the face. Adam staggers back. Deanna starts to stir and Adam turns and rushes to her, but Deanna hits a discus elbow. Adam staggers to the ropes and steps forward before Deanna grabs him and hits a swinging neckbreaker. She rolls over and kicks at the mat as Adam rolls over, holding his head and neck.

Sharper: “And Deanna with the neckbreaker. Fighting back again!”

Selena: “I won’t say that’s Adam’s cockiness. I know Deanna will fight. And she’ll find a way. This is something Adam’s going to get used to from me. We’re both assholes that way to use his language!”

Knots: “Well he said he was the asshole. You’re just a-“

Selena: “Thanks Knots.”

Lyman: “She’s got to follow up though. Can’t waste too much time on recovery!”

Deanna turns and starts to get up. Allocco rolls over, holding his head and neck. Deanna watches him and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a running knee lift. Allocco pops up and Deanna turns and runs into the ropes across Allocco. She bounces off and goes for the Burnout. Allocco moves out of the way. Deanna hits the ropes and then instinctively ducks believing Allocco will go for the Enlightenment, but instead, Allocco grabs her and rolls her up into a school boy before rolling forward, and just placing his weight on Deanna, folding her up.

Deanna kicks out just after as she fights to get out, but the bell sounds. Allocco rolls off and smirks.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Adam Allocco!”

Sharper: “Allocco rolling up Deanna and just using his weight.”

Lyman: “Deanna thought he would go for Enlightenment. He didn’t though.”

Selena: “She was watching video all week. Clever. Huh…”

Adam gets up and walks over to the ropes. He then yells at Selena as Selena looks at him.

Allocco: “Learn a lot? Huh? Got all my moves? My strategies down?”

Selena stands up.

Selena: “Learned plenty, Adam! Come to ringside next week! I’ll give YOU a show!”

Deanna looks up as she rolls over, annoyed, wincing a bit. Adam smirks as he walks around the ring. Selena takes off the headset and heads to the ring to check on Deanna. Adam exits the ring and drops down.

Sharper: “Selena Frost inviting Adam Allocco to ringside next week when she’s in action. But Allocco, that was a unique match.”

Knots: “If you needed to know how confident he is. He wrestled that with practically four moves! He knows how good he can be!”

Sharper: “But Deanna almost had him. One move, one hit, and this could’ve gone another way.”

Knots: “But it didn’t, Sharper.”

Lyman: “And let’s face it. As Selena Frost knows too well, she’s even shown it at Rise to Greatness…one move is all you need.”

Selena enters the ring and checks on Deanna as Deanna shows her frustration. Adam confidently walks to the back as the crowd looks on.

Cid Turner is in his locker room, hair wet from a shower, wearing jeans. He walks over and grabs a t-shirt and throws it over his head as Cookie knocks on the door.

Cookie: “Ya decent?”

Cid: “Yeah…”

Cookie steps in.

Cookie: “Hey there champ. Good win.”

Cid: “Yeah…”

Cookie: “So looks like we got the locker room for the night…Holly and GiGi have something figured out with the Farm Animals and Datura is here and-“

Cid: “Wait? What?”

Cookie: “Yeah…I looked for Holly. She said they’ve got new clients and….”

Cid sighs.

Cid: “Great.”

Cid sits down.

Cookie: “Isn’t it! People are believing we can be better and-“

Datura walks into the room and Cid looks forward.

Datura: “So…”

Cookie: “She said she didn’t want to derail you from earlier and now…she’s here for you to help her!”

Cookie points to Datura. Datura nods.

Datura: “Look. You were helpful when we met. You seemed…focused. But I need the help. I need to get back to who I am…who I was…who I can be. Too much wasted time-”

Cid: “I can’t…”

Cid sighs. He looks up.

Cid: “I can’t do this. Can’t do this to you…and you.”

Cid turns to Cookie and gets up.

Cid: “Cookie…we’re done. You’ve been set on the right path.”

Cookie: “What? Really? That was sudden. I didn’t think-“

Cid: “Oh yeah. Learned everything I can teach you. I can’t teach you anymore. And neither can Holly or GiGi. Okay?”

Cookie: “Oh really…I learned everything from all of you! Oh my God!”

Cookie jumps up and down, thrilled. Cid turns to Datura before grabbing his bags and his title. He turns back to her.

Cid: “And I’m just sorry. I don’t think I can help you.”

Cid turns and walks past.

Datura: “Wait…what? But…a couple of weeks ago….Are you serious?!”

Cid just ignores her, leaving the locker room as Datura looks stunned and then turns to Cookie, who now is less thrilled. She looks around as the scene fades to black.

We cut to a shot of Steve Griffin hitting a top rope decimator on CHBK from Rise to Greatness 2003, before cutting to a shot of Alistaire Allocco proudly holding the SCW World Championship and then showing a shot of Kelcey Wallace, Trinity Street and Lucas Knight standing over Ravyn Taylor and Kennedy Street at another Rise to Greatness event.

“This is your Rise to Greatness Rewind.”

The scene opens in the ring at Rise to Greatness 2014. Donovan Kayl is facing CHBK. Kayl then looks at CHBK as he gets up. Kayl then grabs him and pulls him in. CHBK nails him in the ribs and then again and again. CHBK gets free. He then nails Kayl with a hard right before turning and running into the ropes. He bounces off and Kayl suddenly jumps up and nails him with a jumping knee. CHBK falls to a knee. The crowd cheers. Kayl then pulls him over and spins him around. He then drops him with a reverse DDT backbreaker. He lifts him back up before hitting a second one. He then looks right at CHBK before yelling something at him before dropping him with a reverse DDT. He then suddenly rolls him onto his stomach and into a dragon clutch. The crowd roars. CHBK reaches out in frantic peril as Kayl sits down on CHBK’s back.

Sharper: “Kayl! Dragon clutch! And Kayl calls it the Attitude Adjustment!”

Knots: “No! His attitude doesn’t need to be adjusted?!”

Sharper: “CHBK trying to get to the ropes, but the pressure on the back! The throat!”

Knots: “Come on! It’s a choke!”

Sharper: “No it’s not! It’s a variation of a sleeper!”

CHBK tries to move himself as best as he can as Kayl pulls back. The crowd roars. Kayl keeps the hold on as CHBK reaches out. Kayl however pulls back more and CHBK then starts to tap the mat. The referee calls for the bell. The crowd erupts in cheers as Kayl holds on for a moment as CHBK still taps before Kayl lets go and falls back.

Phillips: “Here is your winner…Donovan Kayl!”

Kayl rolls over and looks at CHBK as he has his arm raised. CHBK rolls to his back, grimacing in pain. Kayl just looks at him before walking around him. He then drops down to the mat as his music plays. Kayl then drops down to the floor.

Knots: “I don’t believe it…CHBK tapped…”

Sharper: “And if I’m not mistaken, that’s the first time CHBK has ever submit in an SCW ring. Donovan Kayl came in with a plan and he may have just succeeded in ending CHBK’s plans…”

The Rise to Greatness XIX logo comes up on the screen.

The scene opens up with a panning shot of the inside of the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Sharper: “A big moment there and while CHBK is still managing today, his in-ring career largely over. Donovan Kayl enjoying retirement.”

Lyman: “Always good to rewatch CHBK squirming and especially tapping out.”

Ricky James vs. Crystal Zdunich

The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal's voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.

"YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!"

As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros.

“Smile Bomb” by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red haired "Burning Rose" Crystal Zdunich walks from the curtains.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, she is the Burning Rose, Crystal Zdunich!”

Crystal is focused as she walks to the ring with a purpose. She however slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way. She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside she kips up to her feet. She tosses her Shoto inspired hoodie towards her wife as she awaits the start of the match.

Sharper: “I don’t know what to expect here. Crystal Zdunich about to be in action against Ricky James. But we know it’s not Ricky-“

Knots: “Well it’s Ricky. Just well, Rudy Powell is now Ricky James. The joy of copyrights!”

The sound of evil laughter is heard through the arena speakers, followed by a slowed-down version of “Real American”. The crowd boos as Rudy Powell emerges from behind the curtain wearing a white dress shirt and what appear to be a modified version of Ricky James’ old tights, held up by American flag themed suspenders.

Sharper: “Good lord.”

Lyman: “This is ridiculous. Just ridiculous.”

Phillips: “Her opponent, from where patriots live…Ricky James!”

Rudy marches down to the ring, waving to the crowd and grinning. He makes his way up the steps and onto the ring apron. As he tries to enter the ring, Rudy gets caught up in the ropes and stumbles onto the mat, drawing laughs from the crowd. Rudy tries to play it off cool, getting back to his feet and brushing himself off before grinning again and waving to the crowd. Zdunich can barely contain her laughter.

Sharper: “The man can’t even get into the ring.”

Lyman: “Zdunich is loving this. He’s making an ass of himself and no one needs to help him!”

Zdunich shakes her head as Powell looks around. The bell rings and Rudy surprisingly starts out aggressively, catching Zdunich off guard a bit. They lock up. Zdunich struggles at first to move Powell, who is probably approaching 300 pounds, but is eventually able to throw Powell back to the mat. Powell screams in agony as he rolls around. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Zdunich, who is probably half the weight of Powell, just launched him.”

Lyman: “Proper leverage is everything. Training is everything.”

Knots: “Kids. Don’t get in the ring without proper training. Unless you’re like this slug in which, do it for the lulz!”

Zdunich smiles and motions for Powell to come back for more. Rudy, looking absolutely terrified, shakes his head and then rolls out of the ring. Powell can be heard yelling “that’s enough!” as he begins to make his way back up the ramp. The crowd boos loudly. Zdunich just extends her arms.

Sharper: “He’s running off! That’s enough, he said?”

Knots: “He’s practically saying he’s had enough of getting his ass kicked!”

Rudy waddles his way back up the ramp, one of his suspender straps now off his shoulder.(1) As he gets to the top of the ramp, the other strap gives way and his wrestling tights fall down to his ankles.(2) The crowd erupts as Rudy scrambles to pull his tights back up, falling flat on his face just as he reaches the backstage curtain.(3)

Sharper: “Good lord!”

Zdunich chuckles as she walks around the ring. (4)

The bell sounds and the crowd boos.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via countout, Crystal Zdunich!”

Zdunich’s music plays as she has her arm raised.

Sharper: “Well Crystal Zdunich showed up to fight. Rudy Powell did as Ricky James.”

Lyman: “He showed up. No talent did. And he gave up!”

Knots: “His suspenders joined him!”

Sharper: “Good lord.”

Zdunich enjoys her victory, chucking a bit to herself as we cut away.

“The Old Me” plays as we see the Breakdown logo come up. A still of Nicole Kinneck and Polly Playtime is next.

Sharper: “Well this one will be a proper match. Ravyn Taylor is planning some experiments. But Nicole Kinneck will need to focus on Polly Playtime, next!”

The scene fades to black.

Nicole Kinneck vs. Polly Playtime

As the arena lights cut, a video package opens up on the big screen, showing a dim lit corridor with one strip of light flickering in the background. The noise of several people crying and screaming can be heard in the background as the sound of a metal door slamming echoes around the arena. Moments later, a figure on the screen tied up in a straight jacket can be seen from behind, being drug along the corridor by two burly men. The jacketed figure is kicking and struggling to break free as they disappear into the darkness at the end of the corridor. The video package cuts and "I'm So Sick" by Flyleaf hits the PA system as a blinding white strobe light begins to flicker on and off rapidly.

I will breeak... into your thooughts...
With what's wriiitten oon my heaaart

Beyond the strobe lights, we suddenly see Nicole "Ducky" Kinneck with her head lowered and dragging her feet while a straight jacket confines her upper body. The pants she wears, tailored to fit, are the old wrestling pants of none other than the famous Dillusion.

I will BRREEEEAAAKKK!!

As the word "BREAK!!" screams through the PA system, pyros explode around Nicole as she too screams and rips off the straight jacket. Her hand flies to her head, grabbing a fist full of hair as she screams the second "BREAK!!" in the song.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from St. Louis, Missouri, she is Nicole Kinneck!”

I'm so sick, infected with
Where I live
Let me live without this
empty bliss…

Nicole makes her way down the ramp occasionally pulling at her hair in frustration. As she makes it to the bottom of the ramp, Nicole lashes out at one of the fans, making them jerk away in fear. She smirks before turning with a skip and climbing the steps up to the apron.

I'm so sick
I'm soo sick…

Still on the apron, Nicole hops up on the middle rope and slowly walks along it as she twiddles her fingers in the air. Suddenly Nicole whips her head back before falling backwards, flipping into the ring. As she whips her head back, a sadistic smile creeps upon her face; already envisioning the pain that will be administered in the match. She closes her eyes, still smiling as she sways and tugs at her hair while her song slowly dies down.

Sharper: “We know Ravyn Taylor will be watching this closely. She said though that she thinks this can be done from afar.”

Knots: “I wouldn’t trust her. You think she’s not going to run out here if she can push the right buttons.”

Lyman: “Maybe thinking Polly Playtime will do just that for her.”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on SCW’s Jumbotron.  A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play.

The music plays for quite some time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Polly emerges from the backstage area wearing a frilly pink skirt and a very cute and fashionable strapless crop top that has black paw prints on it. She is carrying a personally made microphone, clearly wanting to make the world wait to see her. Colleen and Aisling walk out from behind wearing matching pantsuits. Polly heads to the ring as the crowd boos her. She reaches the ringside area. She walks up the steel steps and into the ring. Aisling and Collen walk around the ring. Polly hands over her personalized microphone to Jason Phillips and tells him to announce her using ONLY that microphone.  He looks at her and just shrugs before taking it.

Phillips: “Here she is ladies and gentlemen.  From Panguitch, Utah, she is the girl that just LOVES to play… Polly Playtiiiiime!”

Nicole just glares at both. Polly immediately snatches her microphone back away from him and nods, telling him “Good job,” before she heads to her assigned corner. It’s here that she begins to warm up for the upcoming matchup. Colleen and Aisling stand in her corner. Polly then turns around and informs them of what she wants them to do.

Sharper: “There’s a chip on that young woman’s shoulder.”

Knots: “A big one and maybe that’s what Ravyn is hoping is going to spark Luna showing up tonight.”

Sharper: “God help us all if that happens.”

Nicole looks across as the ring as Steve Hollinsworth calls for the bell to start the match. It sounds and Nicole steps forward and Polly backs up and moves to the corner before leaning through it. Nicole keeps up and nails Polly in the ribs before Hollinsworth gets her back. Nicole snaps him as Polly ducks back in as Aisling hands her a bottle of water. Nicole turns back to Polly who thrusts the bottle in such a way for the content to expel on Nicole. Nicole turns away as it gets into her eyes. Polly throws the bottle away and nails Nicole in the back with a clubbing blow. The crowd boos and Polly nails her again and again before grabbing her and throwing her forward into the opposite corner shoulder first. Nicole turns as Polly kicks her in the ribs over and over.

Sharper: “Playtime all over Kinneck.”

Knots: “And save to say that’s Pro in there. That’s consistent with everything else but right now, she’s not doing much protecting!”

Hollinsworth heads over as Polly gets a few more shots in.

Polly is again forced away from the ropes before turning back and heading over to Nicole and grabbing her, but Nicole hits a guillotine drop. Aisling runs over to help Polly, but Nicole kicks at her. Aisling jukes back as Nicole enters the ring and runs at Polly and spears her down. The crowd roars. Pro then hammers away.

Sharper: “Nicole fighting back. Spear and now repeated blows to the face of Polly Playtime!”

Lyman: “She’s covering up, but she’s going to have to figure out a counter because if Nicole gets on her, she’ll keep going and going!”

Nicole gets a few more shots in before she gets up and stomps Polly in the chest and then again and again. Polly rolls over to the ropes and under them. Nicole stomps her a few more times and Polly drops to the floor. Nicole then turns, moving past the official before exiting the ring. She drops down and grabs Polly and runs her face first into the barricade. (1) Polly falls over. Nicole then stomps her again. (2) She walks forward as Aisling walks forward. Colleen just watches, reluctantly following the match. (3) Polly then comes up behind Nicole and grabs her and runs her forward and into the ringpost. (4) Nicole spins off and falls over to the barricade. Polly then glances at her Playgirls before rolling into the ring. She gets the attention of the official as Aisling motions to Colleen. Colleen sighs before heading over. Aisling kicks Nicole in the ribs as Colleen walks over and Aisling grabs her and then turns and throws her into Nicole. She pushes back on her, leading Colleen to lean into Nicole, almost driving her hip and ass into her, grinding it against the padding off the barricade.

Sharper: “Look at this! These two women are decimating Nicole.”

Lyman: “And you could say humiliating. They’re just leaning on her and causing her to struggle.”

Sharper: “And Polly Playtime has Hollinsworth’s attention here.”

Colleen and Aisling then step off and jog away as Polly drops down to the floor. (1) She then runs over to Nicole and hits a cannonball into her, driving her against the barricade. The crowd ohs. Polly slaps her lightly a couple more times before then backing up and jumping to the middle rope. She jumps up, but Nicole then catches her and shoves her back. Polly rolls through and gets up only for Nicole to clock her with a hard right haymaker to the jaw. Polly just drops from the impact. The crowd roars in cheers.

Sharper: “Oh my God! Just a straight right hand.”

Lyman: “Polly Playtime just learned that Nicole has her own games and it’s the one shot challenge!”

Nicole goes for the pin.

(1) She grabs her and drives her face first into the steel steps. Polly staggers around, falling over the steel steps and back down. Aisling looks concerned as Colleen says something to her before Nicole grabs Polly and rolls her back into the ring. Polly rolls over and starts to get up as Nicole runs up behind her and drills her with a knee to the back. Polly winces as Nicole goes for a school boy.

Polly kicks out. Nicole falls back and rolls to the ropes. Polly rolls over and gets the official’s attention, claiming Nicole pulled her titles. Nicole then lets out a yell in rage and turns and kicks violently at both, getting free. The crowd roars as Nicole gets up and steps forward as Polly steps around Hollinsworth and drills Nicole with a chick kick. Nicole hits the mat.

Sharper: “Polly using the official. Using the girls. And now…Kick to the head!”

Knots: “Nicole just dropped. A bit of turnabout.”

Lyman: “And Pro still, as far as we know, in the driver’s seat.”

Polly goes for the pin.

Nicole kicks out. The crowd roars as Polly rolls off. She looks at her and Nicole stirs as Polly kicks her in the chest. Nicole rolls over. Polly stomps her again and then she kicks her again. Polly runs across the ring and bounces off and goes for a running dropkick, but Nicole moves out of the way. Polly slides through to the apron, holding on and getting up. She turns and Nicole grabs her and nails her with a series of hard right hands. She then pulls her over the top rope. Polly lands on her back and rolls over. She gets up and Nicole runs at her and clotheslines her down. Polly stirs and gets up as Nicole just runs over and grabs her, jumping up and forcing Polly down to the mat with a running two-handed facebuster. Polly rolls over, holding her face.

Sharper: “And just like that, the anger, the rage, being channeled as Polly Playtime driven into the mat!”

Lyman: “It may not be pretty, but it works! And that sure still looks like Pro!”

Nicole gets up and walks around and then dives onto Polly and hammers away on her with repeated rights and lefts as the official tells her to get off. Nicole nails her over and over again as she then turns and looks at Aisling climbs onto the apron. Nicole gets up and the official goes over to her. Colleen goes to climb up, but we then see Ravyn Taylor running to the ring. Nicole turns and runs at her, grabbing her in the ropes and clubbing her over and over. The crowd erupts in cheers as Ravyn falls back and down to the floor. Nicole then turns around and Polly gets up and jumps up and forces her head down between her legs only to drive her down with the variation of the Polly Pop.

Sharper: “Ravyn with the distraction! She’s now adding to it and Polly Pop! Polly making sure she got it!”

Knots: “Nicole’s not going to be happy when she comes to!”

Polly goes for the pin as Ravyn backs up, smirking as Aisling backs up too.

Knots: “A win is a win is a win.”

Lyman: “And look at Ravyn. Just watching Nicole.”

Nicole stirs. Ravyn shakes her head as she stands with her hands on her hips. She then starts to head to the back, watching the big screen to be sure. Nicole continues to recover as Polly has her arms raised by Colleen and Aisling and the crowd boos.

Breakdown returns backstage as we see Holly Adams with Samuel Davis and Where’s the Beef? walking with Dancing Bear and Hairless Penguin, creeping along the side of a wall. Holly then steps out and looks around. She then peaks back and walks over to them.

Holly: “Okay…so I have a way out. A driver is waiting outside….okay, it’s Brittany. And she can be a bit leadfooted, so make sure you buckle up. I don’t want you two going through the windshield after this.”

Davis pipes up.

Davis: “I mean I could drive-“

Holly: “You have more important roles in this. Now…Where’s the Beef? Did you do the ONE thing I needed?”

She just shrugs and holds out a pink and gold briefcase.

Holly: “See. You can get things done. Just give it some flourish. Again. Where’s…the Beef?”

Penguin: “Can we hurry up? I just-“

Holly: “Penguin? I’ve done this plenty of times. We have major clients. SUPER HUGE clients. You know Kim K?”

Bear: “Wait? You got her? Holy shit-“

Holly: “We had her hairstylist. Now….sign this.”

Penguin: “Wait, well, shouldn’t we have Lexy look at it-“

Holly: “Do you want my help or not?”

Bear: “Come on, Penguin. We got this.”

Bear takes the contract. He goes to take a pen but can’t grip it. Holly sighs.

Holly: “Where’s the Beef?”

Davis looks around as Holly turns to Where’s the Beef?

Holly: “Give me the concealer in there.”

Where’s the Beef? obliges. Holly takes it and opens it.

Holly: “This is yours now. We’ll add it to the “tab.” Just put you bear paw there and sign it.”

Penguin: “Bear, we should-“

Bear takes does as Holly asks before Penguin can stop him and pats it on the contract. Holly takes it and folds up the contract.

Holly: “Perfect! Now we can help you-“

Bear: “See Penguin. As your best friend, I’ll make sure you don’t get made into a stew!”

Penguin: “Who said something about stew?!”

Holly: “Okay, Davis, Where’s the Beef? Perimeter!”

Davis runs out and Where’s the Beef? does too as Holly now takes the briefcase, placing the contract inside. She turns and waits behind the wall as we then hear a yell as the camera turns and we see Davis getting Exor-kissed by Sarah Wolf. The crowd roars watching this in the arena.

Sharper: “Sarah Wolf is there!”

Knots: “She was following them! She was!”

Wolf keeps the kiss on for a moment longer before shoving Davis back. Wolf then looks at Holly, Bear and Penguin, black liquid coming out her mouth.

Holly: “Oh my….you didn’t tell me that your stalker was homeless and had a mouth condition. You’re lucky you signed the contract!”

Penguin: “Oh God!”

Bear: “Be strong Penguin! BE STRONG! BE STRONG FOR ME!”

Wolf looks at them as the camera pans back as we see something at the feet of Wolf. Where’s the Beef? however had been watching Wolf’s kiss of Davis and runs over to her.

Where the Beef?: “You son of a bitch!”

She runs at her and swings violently, but Wolf ducks and spins around. She then kicks her in the ribs and then the head before spinning her around and throwing her into the wall. Wolf spins around.

Holly: “Go! GO!”

Holly, Bear and Penguin bolt as Wolf turns and runs after them. Holly is clutching her case as she runs over to a gawdy van with Holly’s face on the side…the infamous HOLLYMOBILE van, adapted from Holly Adams True HOLLY-Wood Stories.

Bear: “Oh my God…”

Penguin: “Wait! That’s obvious-“

Bear: “It’s beautiful!”

Holly has just kept going and runs around the van. A large man is in the driver’s seat. Holly goes around and opens the passenger door and steps inside. She closes it as Penguin and Bear snap out of it and run. Wolf runs at them too. Bear tries to open the side door but struggles mightly.

Penguin: “Open it bear! QUICK! QUICK!”

Bear: “Damn my Bear hands! They’re too big! EVERYTHING IS TOO BIG!”

Penguin: “Move!”

Penguin turns and goes to open it.

Penguin: “What the…it’s locked!”

Holly: “Whoops! Brittany!”

Brittany looks for the unlock as Wolf runs over and swings the item she had, a baseball bat.

Sharper: “Sarah Wolf! She has a baseball bat!”

Knots: “I guess a machete wasn’t available!”

Sharper: “Not too many of them in Indiana!”

Lyman: “Thank God for Penguin and Bear!”

Penguin ducks as Wolf turns and swings and nails the back window of the van, missing Bear. Bear stumbles back and rolls over. Wolf then comes over and nails him in the back. He yells out. She nails him again. Bear falls to the ground. Penguin runs over and grabs the bat as Wolf swings. She turns around and shoves him back. Penguin rolls back. We finally then hear the unlock of the doors before locking again as Holly shakes her head in the car. Wolf turns and looks at her, black liquid coming from her mouth. Davis then runs over and jumps onto Wolf’s back. She falls to a knee and Penguin runs over and grabs Bear, dragging him up. He hobbles around the van with Penguin as Wolf throws Davis down. Davis rolls over and turns as Wolf grabs him and turns and runs and throws him up and into the windshield of a parked Sedan. The crowd ohs. Wolf turns around as we see Penguin and Bear getting into the back of the HOLLYMOBILE. Penguin pulls the one door closed as Wolf runs around and grabs the other as the HOLLYMOBILE starts to drive off. As it does, Wolf lets go, stumbling forward and falling to a knee from the violent start. She grits her teeth, glaring. The HOLLYMOBILE only, however, gets a few feet away when a black truck pulls out and crashes into it.

Sharper: “What the hell?”

Knots: “Go! GO! Don’t worry about it. Get the insurance later!”

We then see the driver’s side door of the truck open and Kim stand up on the edge.

Kim: “Yay! I helped! I helped! Come on Wolfie! I want to see a flaying!”

Penguin: “DRIVE! DRIVE!”

Penguin can be heard from inside the van.

Bear: “LIFE COACH OUT OF THIS HOLLY!”

Holly: “I’m TRYING! BRITTANY!”

Where’s the Beef? comes over with a chair as Kim points at the van as the voices of the various people trying to flee can be heard over the chaos. Penguin reaches out and now closes the other back door as Wolf gets up, grabbing the baseball bat and swinging and nailing the back window, causing it to shatter before the HOLLYMOBILE roars again and manages to drive off, scraping against the front of the truck. It turns and peels off as Wolf turns and nails Where’s the Beef? in the ribs with the bat before throwing the bat down. Wolf walks around and turns as Kim climbs up to the hood of the damaged truck. She sits on the hood and looks at her.

Kim: “Hey! I did my part. Even borrowed some keys and everything! Have popcorn in there too? Where’s my flaying!”

Wolf just looks at Kim as Davis and Where’s the Beef? writhe in pain, the HOLLYMOBILE long gone.

Wolf: “Oh…I’ll get my hands on him. Don’t worry. Now I’ll make it even more painful. For him and everyone else in my way.”

Wolf turns and looks out before heading back into the building. Kim looks around. She then looks at the truck. She then stomps the windshield in anger.

Kim: “But I wanted it tonight!”

Kim sighs and drops down to the hood and slides to the ground. She heads off too as officials, joined by security, show up to survey the damage. We then see Lexy Chapel running into view with Autumn Valentine. Lexy just looks stunned as Autumn is in disbelief.

“The Old Me” plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A shot of Alexis Quinne vs. Datura follows.

Sharper: “A mess out in the parking lot as between Sarah Wolf and Kimberly Williams, their violent tendencies playing out in different ways.”

Knots: “We didn’t get kicked off the air for violence to animals though!”

Sharper: “But next…Datura, without Cid Turner, who left earlier too, she’ll be in action against her former friend, Alexis Quinne. They meet, next here on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

Datura vs. Alexis Quinne

The eyes all focus on the stage. The lights grow dim. Opening strum of Rage Against the Machine's “Calm Like a Bomb” plays. White house lights illuminate the ramp.

The song kicks it. The house lights turn blue, red, green, etc. Alexis Quinne walks out through the curtains. The crowd roars. She is dressed in a white and red sugar skull mask with black trim. She also had a silver and black Varsity Jacket with a few badges on the sleeves. She looks out at the arena, turning left and right. She reaches up and takes off her mask before she then starts her march down to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with TV Time remaining and is your main event of the evening. First, coming down to the ring, from San Francisco, California, this is Alexis Quinne!”

Alexis eyes the camera while looking around at the crowd, smirking a little bit. She then looks to both sides of the front row, a wry smirk sported on her face. She then tosses her mask to the crowd. Reaching ringside, the camera does the classic rotation that it used to do for her entrances. Quinne circles the ring a bit, looking around at the crowd. Once she gets to the announce table, she then rolls inside of the ring before standing up and pointing at the ref. She quickly walks to the corner and rest her head on the top turnbuckle. After a few moments, she takes off her jacket and then climbs up and then sits on top of the turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Alexis Quinne has seen a lot. She wants people to get on their own wavelength and experience success. She sees the Brand and all of their subsidiaries as leeches.”

Lyman: “That was clear when she got in with it with GiGi out here last week. I wonder how she’s feeling about their actions this week.”

Sharper: “She may, right now, be focusing on her friend, or former friend.”

The lights fade down, and the ramp is cast with a heavy backlight. The acoustic guitar of Royal and the Serpent’s “Happier in Hell” begins.

“I’m afraid of medication but I think I should be on it.
I keep trying meditation but if I’m being honest
Doing anything that’s good for me makes me want to vomit.
I’m sorry for the mess I made I’ll clean it in the morning.”

From the light, the silhouette of Datura appears on the ramp. Her head is down, and her arms extend outward, her hands dancing to the rhythm of the music. As it goes on, Datura trudges down the ramp, basking in the light.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Tampa, Florida, she is Datura!”

“I don’t need your help you can keep the
Gary Vees and Ted Talks to yourself.
I’m glad it’s going well but
I’ve been to heaven. It’s happier in Hell.”

When Datura gets close to the ring, she gets a running start and slides underneath the bottom rope before immediately making her way to the corner. She climbs up onto the turnbuckle and sits with her back to the ring, screaming the words of the song to the audience.

"Maybe you're not sad enough. Maybe I should suck it up.
I'm an imposter. I'm a fraud. Most days I'm a devil
Today I'm a god. Maybe you're not sad enough.
Or maybe I should give it up."

As the second verse begins, Datura leans back and places herself in the tree of woe position, glaring across the ring with her arms crossed over her chest. After hanging there for several moments, the places her hands down on the mat and kicks off the turnbuckle. Spinning toward the center of the ring, she extends her arms outward and throws off her hood.

Sharper: “And Datura out here alone. Cid Turner leaving the arena. He’s also told Cookie that he’s done with her.”

Lyman: “You wonder if they had any interaction, any help, over the last week then. Datura turning to them must mean she’s desperate-“

Knots: “Or she knows she’s not perfect. How refreshing would that be? Someone not Flawless. Someone damaged. Someone who needs help!”

Datura looks at Quinne as Quinne looks across, saying something to her. Datura ignores her as the bell sounds. The two circle the ring. Quinne shakes her head as Datura and Quinne then lunge and lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another, both looking to get any leverage. They keep pushing back on each for a moment longer before both let go. They look at each other and then lock up again. They keep pushing on one another and Datura starts to get the advantage on Quinne. Quinne however turns and pushes her into the ropes. Datura pushes forward and they spin along the ropes. They get to the corner with Datura pinning Quinne back. The official, Aaron Demitra, calls for the break.

Datura lets back and the two give each other a clean break. Datura then turns around and goes to the opposite corner. She then motions to Quinne to try again. Quinne looks at her, thinking about it for a moment.

Sharper: “Datura gets Quinne back. Now she resets.”

Lyman: “Still some respect there at least.”

Quinne and Datura circle a bit before locking up again. They push back on one another. Quinne has the brief advantage before Datura stops and pushes her back. Quinne then pushes back again before getting her back to the ropes. Datura again pushes off as Quinne then pushes back and both turn and go through the ropes, still holding on and ending up locked up on the floor. The crowd roars. Quinne and Datura keep pushes back on one another before Datura steps forward and gets her against the announce table. (1) She pushes her back. Quinne bends back awkwardly. (2) Datura then lets go and goes for a hard right, but Quinne blocks it and forearms Datura. (3) Datura stumbles back and Quinne kicks her in the ribs and sends her into the ring. Datura rolls through as Quinne rolls in. She gets up and jumps up and hits a monkey flip. Datura hits the mat. She rolls over and gets up before Quinne forearms her in the jaw and hits an overhead chop. She grabs Datura and whips her across the ring. Datura bounces off and Quinne goes for a front dropkick. Datura catches her and slams her down before turning her over into a single leg crab.

Sharper: “Datura knows her well. Caught her. And right into a crab!”

Knots: “Quinne moving fast. Datura looks good. Cid clearly helped her out!”

Quinne crawls quickly moving toward the rope before Datura can sit into the hold. She gets closer and closer before grabbing the bottom rope.

Sharper: “Datura knocked back. And Quinne with high-impact shots.”

Knots: “Come on Datura. Remember the lessons you learned.”

Lyman: “Or just believed in your own skill!”

Quinne gets up and runs over to Datura and Quinne goes for a hard right, but Datura grabs the arm and pulls it over before jumping up and locking in an arm bar. The crowd roars.

Quinne kicks out again. Both get up and Datura chops Quinne. The crowd woos. Datura then grabs the arm and wrenches it.

Sharper: “Datura focusing on the arm some and that’s a bad thing for Quinne.”

Knots: “Yeah. She gets a hold on, it’s over.”

Lyman: “She knows many, but Quinne does too. She’s been showing off her technical ability more and more since returning. She’s a much more confident grappler.”

Datura then jerks on it again and then pulls it up into an overhead wristlock. She then leg trips Quinne down before pressing down and kneeing Quinne in her exposed arm. Quinne winces. Datura gets up and then moves to step over Quinne but Quinne uses her small frame to roll back and to her feet. Datura grabs her and places her head between her legs before Quinne counters with a back drop. Datura rolls over and gets up and turns and runs at Quinne who ducks a clothesline. Datura stops and turns around and Quinne jumps up and goes into a flying headscissors into an armbar of her own, forcing Datura down to the mat and into the Dreadnaught Plata! Datura yells in pain as Quinne pulls back. She frantically moves to the ropes, moving faster and faster, dragging Quinne with her before getting to the ropes and grabbing them with her free arm.

Quinne lets go and steps forward.

Sharper: “You called it Lyman. The Dreadnaught Plata doing some damage. That armbar, hyperextending it.”

Lyman: “And immediately Datura knew it was not going to be good for her. Quickly to the ropes.”

She grabs Datura and pulls her away from the ropes before hooking her up and hitting a snap suplex. Datura winces in pain. Quinne gets up and moves to the corner. She exits to the apron and then climbs to the top rope. She looks at Datura and Quinne steadies herself and hits an elbow drop. She turns and hooks the leg.

Datura kicks out. She rolls over to the ropes. Quinne then gets up and staggers to the ropes. She then slingshots to the apron and then slingshots back over and goes for the Esperanza, but Datura blocks it before it can even get going, instead pulling her back and hitting the Lady Death in the corner. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Quinne folded up in the corner as she may have gotten too flashy!”

Lyman: “She had something in mind, but Datura saw it coming and countered big.”

Sharper: “Lady Death and now Datura in control.”

Knots: “Doing well without Cid out here to explicitly help her out!”

Datura slowly gets up and turns and looks at Quinne. Quinne rolls over and Datura grabs her and pulls her up before scooping her up and turning into a shoulderbreaker. She plants Datura in the middle of the ring and then grabs her arm and turns her over and sets up for a cattle mutiliation. She goes to flip forward, but Quinne tucks her head and rolls with her, ending up on top of her for a pin.

Quinne runs across the ring and bounces off and Datura then runs out and spins around her, catching her in a full nelson before throwing her over with a release full nelson suplex. The crowd jumps to their feet in awe.

Sharper: “Datura with a beautiful full nelson suplex!”

Lyman: “Quinne landing on her head! And Datura’s still moving!”

Datura turns and crawls over to Quinne and pulls her up. She then pulls her arm back and hooks her head, falling back and locking in the Fever Dream! Quinne reaches around as Datura pulls back. She grits her teeth as she gets the grapevine in. Quinne keeps fighting as Datura pulls back and Quinne taps. The crowd roars. The bell sounds. Datura lets go and pushes Quinne off. She then sits next to her, glancing over.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via submission, Datura!”

Sharper: “Datura victorious. A bit more decisive tonight.”

Knots: “See! Cid helped! Even if he wasn’t actually out here!”

Datura slowly gets up and looks at Quinne. Quinne holds her shoulder and winces before the crowd roars as we see Autumn Valentine sliding into the ring behind Datura. Datura turns around and Autumn gets up and shoves her back.

Autumn: “You think I’m going to just ignore you. Especially now that you’re with them!”

Datura: “Look, I-“

Autumn: “No! Not after everything and with Lexy’s phone…”

Autumn nods and forearms Datura in the jaw. The crowd roars. She nails her again and again.

Sharper: “Autumn Valentine coming out and she’s got many problems with Datura, but the link with the Positive State taking it over the edge!”

Lyman: “She gave Quinne the space, but now she’s getting some more revenge. Datura cost her the Adrenaline Championship!”

Autumn fires Datura across the ring and she bounces off as Autumn hits a bicycle kick. She then turns and grabs her and pulls her up. Datura falls to a knee, exhausted from the match and hurt from Autumn’s kick. She then kicks at her thigh. Datura drops to a knee. Autumn looks at her and then runs behind her. She bounces off and Quinne gets up and nails her with a hard forearm. Autumn goes down. Quinne turns and stands over her. Datura falls to her side as Quinne glances at her and then turns to Autumn. The crowd roars as Autumn looks up at her.

Sharper: “Quinne now standing up for her former friend!”

Knots: “Datura beat her. Maybe that respect is back. Maybe she’s bought in!”

Autumn gets up and forearms her in the jaw. Quinne fires back and Autumn nails her again before Quinne goes for a shot, but Autumn taking advantage of the match, grabs it and wrenches it and then turns and throws her out of the ring. Quinne rolls over, holding her arm. The crowd roars as Autumn backs up and turns and walks right into GiGi Aries who has slide into the ring. He looks at Autumn and kicks her in the ribs before grabbing her arms and driving her down with the Third Eye. Autumn rolls over, holding her head in pain. GiGi rolls over and turns away from Autumn and looks at Datura.

Sharper: “GiGi! GiGi Aries still here. Didn’t leave with the rest of the Brand!”

Lyman: “Cid gone. Holly gone. Davis gone. And Aries now looking at Datura.”

Knots: “Look!”

Sharper: “He’s extending a hand to Datura!”

GiGi looks at Datura as she looks up and extends his hand to her. Datura looks at him as GiGi says something before Datura grabs his hand and GiGi Aries pulls her to her feet. Datura then looks at him as GiGi smiles. The crowd boos as the scene fades to black…
