“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”
A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the
Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off
the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of
Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a
shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match.
We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before
cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity
at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.
“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”
MAIN SHOW:
“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet
plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run
to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the
Rectifier and Datura hanging upside down on the ropes, posing.
Maybe I'm just paranoid
Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie
Can't stop this screamin' voice
Or maybe I'm just sick inside
Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before
showing Rated X posing as SCW World Tag Team Champions. Katie Steward is next
shown posing, before we see Cassie Wolfe hitting a dive off the top rope and
Adam Brock standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chance Owens, Simon Lyman
and Dancing Bear follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo
This is the face
I hate the other side of me
Out of this cage
He breaks to take the life from me
Tell me, tell me, tell me
I'm not crazy
Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total
Makeover before showing Adam Allocco talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is
next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott
proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as
Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.
There's a psycho in my head
I'm closer to the edge
Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery
Insane
These voices in my brain
Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me
Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor lariat on an
opponent is next, before we see Pro Kinneck attacking Sophie James at ringside.
Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see
Alexis Quinne hitting a standing shooting star press. Lexy Chapel is then shown
showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows.
There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head
Shots of Selena Frost, Kandis,
Adam Allocco, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the
screen.
We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the PPG
Paints Arena in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out
from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before
spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few
moments.
Sharper: “We are in Pittsburgh for Breakdown. The fallout
from Retribution and there is plenty. We have a lot to talk about tonight!”
The cameras continue to pan across the arena before we
cut to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots are at ringside.
Sharper: “Hello again everyone.
Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and we are at ringside. Selena Frost is
still the World Champion. Kandis has been suspended and fined. We’ll talk about
that. We have that and so much happening tonight.”
Knots: “Including Selena Frost in
action. She’s facing our Savior, Simon Lyman! One on one! Non-Title!”
Sharper: “Not just that, a
hardcore war will take place; We expect to hear from the new World Tag Team
Champions, and so much more, including the returning Chris Cannon. Yes, Chris
Cannon returning with a client. And we have questions.”
BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!
"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout
the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights
shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling”
along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow
Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. The
SCW World Championship sits over her shoulder.
While her entrance videos and effects continue, Selena
ignores them, only walking to the ring slowly. The fans boo her loudly as she
walks to the rign.
Sharper: “And there’s your World Champion, still World
Champion. Managing to defeat Kandis. And after, Kandis was told something by
Aaron Demitra. Kandis lost it and security pulled her away before Kandis struck
CHBK. We’ll have more on that situation.”
Knots: “Selena just ignored it all. She was enjoying the
moment while the tens of thousands in Glendale booed her.”
Selena Frost walks down to the ring before looking around
and smirking. She then walks over to the steel steps and walks up them. She
then walks along the apron and steps into the ring. She then walks forward, the
boos grow for a moment as Selena looks around. She then turns and takes the
World Championship and places it around her waist. She hooks it up before
turning back and walking over to the corner and being hand a microphone by
Jason Phillips. Phillips takes it and turns back to the middle of the ring. The
crowd boos as the music fades out. She looks around and listens to the boos.
She slowly brings the microphone to her mouth.
Selena: “I realize some people don’t respect talent and
skill…”
The crowd boos loudly.
Selena: “But whether you like it or not, in a FAIR match,
I am still the World Champion.”
The crowd boos as Selena looks around.
Selena: “And to just avoid any misconception or
confusion, Kandis is not here. She won’t be here. And she can’t be here. And
that’s because of the decisions she made.”
Selena walks around the ring as the crowd boos.
Selena: “Unlike Rise to Greatness, when a man none of us
should trust unless we have it in writing was the man in black and white,
unlike a time where the only advantage my opponent could have is to attack me
beforehand…and even when despite ALL of that, I fell to the fluke of the
situation. Even I left the ring, and gave Kandis her moment, undeserved or
not!”
Selena looks around as the boos continue.
Selena: “She couldn’t do that. Even I didn’t attack her.
I left. I took a moment to reset, to regroup, and to come back better.”
Selena smirks.
Selena: “I doubt she’ll use this opportunity for
self-improvement. Because instead, she proved what she was. A hothead that got
lucky once. And I merely had Aaron Demitra, a true man of integrity, ask her to
leave the ring. She had her fifteen minutes. The World Champion wanted what
they earned. And she had an issue. Like she always does. And unfortunately, she
made several bad choices. So she can watch at home, whether with Tommy or
whomever else she has the company of tonight, and see a true champion in
action. She will not be back for some time.”
Selena goes to walk around the ring, before stopping, and
smirking.
Selena: “Believe it…”
Selena chuckles a bit, showing a bit of enjoyment about
the situation.
Selena: “But that’s one issue down. Add Asher Hayes,
beaten at my hands, and we have two. Two of the people who dominated the World
Championship scene when I was not here and they have both been defeated at my
hands and tonight, non-title though, I’ll dismiss the challenges for Simon
Lyman and he can go back to focusing on saving Bree Lancaster or whatever the
hell he’s doing.”
Selena looks around.
Selena: “Because the fact is that you all deserved
better. I was BETTER. And while you will never understand or respect it, I’ve
come to understand that, I will instead just do what is needed and SCW will pay
me back for failing to understand my value. Simple as that.”
Selena shrugs.
Selena: “And after tonight, it’s a clean slate. And I
don’t know who SCW has to put in front of me. I don’t know who they would have
to challenge me and-“
The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz
wondering who is coming out. As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to
play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight
illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up
with the opening count-up.
Eins...
Zwei...
Drei...
Vier...
Fünf...
Sechs...
Sieben...
Acht...
Neun...
As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its
crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...
AUS!
Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The
One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage. She looks at the ring as
Selena just scoffs.
Sharper: “Well it’s not a clean slate, because that
woman, The One Kirsten Scott has a World Title match. She stepped aside to
allow the situation with Asher and Kandis and Selena to get settled. Now, I
think she wants her shot.”
Knots: “And trust me, if she wants to take someone down a
peg, taking down Selena would fit that build.”
Scott walks to the ring as Selena Frost just watches her,
seemingly unimpressed. “The One” Kristen Scott walks around the ring and over
to the timekeeper’s table, demanding a microphone from Jason Phillips. Scott
takes one and turns back to the ring. She walks up the steel steps and onto the
apron.
Selena: “Hold it, Kirsten.”
The music fades out.
Selena: “Do you really want to go down this path? Deanna
defeated you, even in your match.”
Scott: “So you think yourself that much better than your
wife?”
Scott enters the ring as Selena looks at her.
Selena: “You made that assumption.”
Scott: “Just like you assume you’re better than everyone
because you stand for something. Well, I stand for something too. And so do
many and while you can talk about a clean slate, in one sense that’s true, but
all that means are new people are going to step up and you seem to have a
problem with that.”
Selena: “No, I have a problem with people who step up and
show they are undeserving because when it comes to what happens in these ropes,
they need to find every scheme to get by and win. I simply do it by competing
and being better and proving it.”
The crowd boos as Scott looks at her.
Scott: “Well, we’ll try that again at Taking the Leap
then, won’t we. Because Selena, while you can claim you have the advantage, the
experience, and can claim that Deanna beat me, so you will fall too, none of
means when the bell sounds you will win. And trust me, the ripples of me
winning the World Championship would be game changing.”
Selena: “And it won’t happen.”
Selena looks at Scott.
Selena: “Talk how great you want to aim, but unlike
others, I will take you seriously until I no longer have to. And that’s when
the bell sounds after you tap out or Aaron Demitra’s hand hits the man three
times. And then I move on. While you can stew and think about what could be.
You win or you lose. And I tend to win more and I tend to get dragged through
the mud because I have standards. And Scott, you’ll find that out.”
Scott: “Believe it?”
Scott looks at Selena as Selena smirks.
Scott: “Or you assume people care about those high
standards or share them. I care about one thing – who wins in the end. Just
like they do. And frankly, sometimes, you need to get the engine going in other
ways. And well-“
Scott holds up a fist and looks at Selena. Selena then
holds out a hand.
Selena: “I would stop you there.”
Scott: “Why? We could spar? Make it more sporting. Or are
you not ready?”
Selena: “I’m not engaging. And you shouldn’t too. Because
well, if you strike me, I’ll be moving on from you sooner rather than later.”
Selena backs up and steps through as “Thank You For
Hating Me” plays. Selena Frost steps through the ropes and down to the floor.
Kirsten Scott looks at Selena Frost as Frost turns around and walks to the
back, turning her back fully to Scott.
Sharper: “What the hell does that mean?”
Knots: “I don’t think that was a physical threat.”
Sharper: “Scott’s thinking about it. Is it just a
statement to throw her off? Selena Frost telling Kirsten Scott that to strike
her would mean she could move on faster and she just said she moves on when she
beats someone.”
Knots: “So…wait…there are rumours that have spread since
Retribution.”
Sharper: “That may be something to ask CHBK about. Is
there something else here? And Scott has to figure it out in just about a month
before they face at Taking the Leap!”
Scott looks on as Frost heads to the back.
COMMERCIALS
Colleen vs. The Enigma
SCW Television Championship
Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is for the
SCW Television Championship. Introducing first, COLLEEN!!!
A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed
by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin,
Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal
all-black ring gear. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as
she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i
Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down
the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight
down at the ring. She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring. Not
quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top
rope to get into the ring. Once inside she does look around the arena. She
simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand,
warming up before the bell rings.
Phillips: And her opponent, the SCW Television
Champion…THE ENIGMA!!!!
The arena falls into complete darkness as a haunting
melody, "Whispers of the Abyss," begins to resonate throughout. Eerie
silence sweeps over the audience, and a sense of anticipation builds.
Suddenly, a soft, bluish glow illuminates the entrance
ramp. Mysterious mist starts to billow out, creating an otherworldly ambiance.
The crowd hushes, waiting in awe for "The Enigma's" arrival.
A spotlight slowly emerges, revealing "The
Enigma" standing at the top of the entrance ramp. He's cloaked in
enigmatic attire and his haunting mask. His presence seems to draw the energy
from the surroundings.
With supernatural grace, "The Enigma" descends
the ramp. The mist swirls around him, concealing his every step, as if he is a
specter emerging from the abyss.
The audience watches in silent fascination as he reaches
the ringside area. The enigmatic symbols on the walls of the arena come to
life, glowing in response to his presence.
"The Enigma" ascends the steel steps, never
breaking eye contact with his opponent. His gaze remains hidden behind the
mask, adding to the mystique surrounding him.
Inside the ring, "The Enigma" spreads his arms
wide, and the eerie mist intensifies, shrouding the entire ring. The audience
is captivated by the mystical display before them.
The haunting melody of "Whispers of the Abyss"
reaches its crescendo. "The Enigma" drops to one knee, his cloak
sweeping the canvas. He raises his arms, and the mist begins to dissipate,
revealing the mysterious aura he brings with him.
As the music fades, "The Enigma" remains in the
center of the ring, an enigmatic figure who has left the audience spellbound.
The lights return, but the sense of mystery lingers in the air.
The bell rings. Colleen starts out with several
knife edge chops, a spinning heel kick, and a discuss elbow. None of
these seem to phase The Enigma who just stands there, perfectly still.
Colleen hits another spin kick and an axe kick. Still The Enigma doesn’t
move a muscle. Colleen, though, shows signs of frustration and nerves,
being freaked out over The Enigma’s non-action. Colleen strikes with a
dropkick and another and a third. Still no effect on The Enigma.
Then the lights start to dim.
Sharper: “Enigma – we’ve seen him play these mind games
before.”
Knots: “Looking to just screw with his opponent psychologically.
I don’t want to be out here Sharper!”
Colleen looks around before resetting, going right back
on the attack. She throws more knife edge chops. She connects with
a huge lariat. She hits the ropes and comes back at Enigma but he catches
her with a huge twisting power slam. The lights come back on and Enigma’s
haunting laughter echoes throughout the arena. Enigma pulls Colleen up
and whips her into the corner. He taunts her before rushing in with a
corner splash.
Sharper: “All of that weight into Colleen. Nowhere for her
to go.”
Knots: “And he’s not stopping. He’s deciding where
Colleen will go!”
Enigma with a snap suplex. He floats over into a
cover…
1…
…2Kickout!
The Enigma goes for another suplex but Colleen floats
over, lands on her feet, hits the ropes, and delivers a spear, managing to
finally take The Enigma down. Colleen slowly pulls herself up but just as
she gets to her feet, the smoke and mist starts to billow out again. Once
again this startles Colleen to the point that Enigma is able to recover.
Enigma with a leg trip and then a standing moonsault. The cover…
1…
…2Kickout!
Sharper: “My God! A moonsault by this man, this monster.”
Knots: “Colleen is just getting into a groove and that
damn mist. That mist that stopped Konrad’s fire at Retribution!”
Enigma pulls her back up and whips her into the
corner. He goes for another corner splash but Colleen avoids it.
Colleen comes back with The Facewarmer! He staggers out of the corner and
Colleen drops him with a back stabber. Colleen with a diving leg
drop. She covers, hooking a leg…
1…
…2Kickout!
Colleen pulls Enigma back up to his feet. But
Enigma catches her with a punch to the throat followed by several knife edge
chops. The Enigma with a leaping knee strike taking down Colleen.
Sharper: “The Enigma with a hard knee. Colleen just
crumbling.”
Knots: “You can fight, but Enigma just so fast.”
The Enigma pulls Colleen back to her feet but Colleen
catches him with a stunner variant. Colleen hits the ropes and goes for a
spear and connects but Enigma is knocked into the referee, sending both
down. The crowd begins boo. The cameras eventually catch the reason
for this reaction…Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson, The European Fiery Nation,
are coming to the ring.
Sharper: “And wait a minute. No referee and here comes
Konrad Raab’s goons.”
Knots: “At least they don’t have fire this time!”
Dakon enters first and levels Colleen with a European
uppercut. Both he and Ludvig start to put the boots to Colleen.
Then Aisling charges to the ringside to provide an assist. Aisling leaps
off the top with a cross body block taking down both members of The Fiery
Nation.
Sharper: “Aisling and Colleen fighting off the EFN!”
Knots: “Retribution isn’t over for them yet!”
Aisling checks on Colleen while Dakon and Ludvig
recover. Colleen and Aisling turn around and are leveled by dueling
clotheslines. Dakon and Ludvig consider leaving but then they notice The
Enigma has made his way back up. Swiftly the European Fiery Nation
strike, dropping The Enigma with European United Drop, the flapjack cutter!
Sharper: “Wait a minute! The European United Drop on the
Enigma!”
Knots: “Konrad Raab sending a message? Or is this
just EFN getting revenge for Retribution?”
Dakon and Ludvig consider doing more damage but then more
loud noises from the crowd indicate another arrival; specifically we see Dumont
and Striker hit the ring. They drag Dakon and Ludvig out of the
ring. The four men begin to brawl through the crowd while Aisling is left
on the outside and Colleen, who is barely moving, is left with Enigma in the
ring but The Enigma is not moving.
Sharper: “And look out! Dumont! Striker! They’ll fight later
tonight!”
Knots: “And coming to help out Colleen!”
Colleen seizes the moment and the opportunity. She
takes Enigma’s limp form and connects with The Collapser! She covers just
as the referee is coming to…
1…
2…
…3!
The crowd roars as Colleen rolls off and looks around.
The bell sounds and she is handed the SCW Television Championship.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and NEW SCW
Television Champion, Colleen!”
Colleen looks around and then celebrates as The Enigma
remains down, unmoving.
Sharper: “Colleen did it! She is the new TV Champion! She
just beat The Enigma!”
Knots: “Who cares about the smoke and mirrors it took. He
was doing the same. And Colleen came out with again, these allies, these friends,
to get through it!”
Sharper: “I don’t believe it and Colleen holding SCW
gold!”
Colleen celebrates with Aisling as her music plays. As
this does, black mist starts to fill up the ring. Aisling looks around and then
turns and climbs up to the middle rope to be sure as Colleen stands on the
turnbuckle celebrating. She then notices Aisling and looks back. The mist pulls
up, covering the ring and even into the air. Colleen and Aisling keep looking
around as the mist continues to fill up for a few moments before then starting
to settle and The Enigma no longer is in the ring. Colleen hops down and looks
around as Aisling does too. The crowd buzzes as the scene cuts away.
COMMERCIALS
Xander Valentine is shown sitting
backstage on a storage crate, his hands clasped in front of him. He leans
forward, looking down.
Xander: “Gavin…you wanted the
Executioner?”
Xander looks up at the camera.
Xander: “You got him. But don’t
take any guilt for what follows. I did what I needed to at Retribution. I
defeat you because, unfortunately, you and I can’t be on the same path. You
wanted to prove yourself…to go for the World Championship. That is also my
goal.”
Xander pauses briefly.
Xander: “Find a different path,
Gavin. For your sake. I say this as…as a friend. But as for others, know this…Gavin
reminded me what I am capable of. And I have a long history with those who
their designs on the World Title. Syren. Selena. Even Kirsten Scott after last
month. Scott can have her title shot. But after…I will only need the time in
the ring.”
The crowd roars hearing Xander’s threat
as he gets up and walks off camera. The camera remains on him for a few moments
before we cut away.
The scene returns to a panning
shot of the crowd in the arena.
Sharper: “Welcome back to
ringside and a lot of people are talking about Retribution. Let’s take you back
to the final moments of Retribution before we went off the air.”
The Retribution logo comes up on
the screen. We see a still of
Selena having the World Championship placed around her waist. Kandis is near
the ropes. We then see a shot of Selena saying something to Aaron Demitra. This
is followed by a shot of Demitra talking to Kandis.
Knots: “We see Demitra, the official, talking to Selena
Frost before he goes over to Kandis. We now know, based on what Selena said,
that she wanted Kandis out of her ring. She took issue with it.”
We see a still of Kandis being held back by Demitra
before we see officials stopping Kandis. We see Selena ignoring it before
showing Kandis now on the floor with CHBK standing across from her. Kandis
remains held back.
Sharper: “And Kandis eventually forced out of the ring
before seeing the SCW COO, Alex Desoubrais there. And this led to this
exchange. Listen.”
We cut to see CHBK at ringside as Kandis turns to the
ropes now at this point.
Kandis: “Need to protect her? Really? There something
else going on here?”
Kandis then steps through the ropes and down to the
floor. The officials drop down and Demitra does too. She walks right up to CHBK
and gets in his face.
Kandis: “Why are you out here? And she wants me out of
her ring? Tell her, and you, to go to hell-“
CHBK: “Kandis-“
Kandis: “No…this…they’re here too fast. So well…”
Kandis turns and elbows one and then catches another
before we see Hiro Tanaka and Dillusion running down to the ring with Beard.
Kandis then turns and nails CHBK with a hard right before Dillusion and Tanaka
tackle Kandis back to the ring. The Retribution logo comes up on the screen.
We return to the panning shot of the crowd.
Sharper: “Kandis attacking several officials. Then
attacking CHBK. And as a result, we can confirm that Kandis has been suspended.
She has been fined.”
Knots: “But add what she said. It looked questionable.
When has CHBK come to the ringside like that. What about the immediate presence
of security?”
Sharper: “And add Selena’s comment earlier, we have more
questions. Jessica Winters, you’re standing by with our Chief Executive
Officer, Alex Desoubrais.”
The scene cuts backstage where The Canadian Heartbreak
Kid Alex Desoubrais stands outside of his office with Jessica Winters.
Winters: “Thank you Adam, Jon. I am here with Alex
Desoubrais, CHBK himself, and well, we have a lot of questions and a lot of
information that needs to be figured out here. You’ve been transparent in the
past but it seems like Selena Frost continues to be at the heart of controversy
since returning and these are becoming typical after a big event.”
CHBK: “I will do my best to provide some clarity here.”
Winters: “First off, with Kandis. Let’s just make that
clear. What is the situation there? We know she has been suspended and she’s
been fined.”
CHBK: “Yes, that is the case. The fact is that we’ve had
too much in the past where people would put their hands on officials and take
their anger out on people. You can disagree with Selena having Aaron Demitra in
that position, but then her actions after and then to take things out on me, on
other officials, making several assumptions, we can’t have that. As a result,
she’s been given a thirty day suspension. The fine is a bit different – there,
she has been suspended without pay and her pay instead is serving as a fine.”
Winters: “That’s quite steep then.”
CHBK: “Actions have consequences and more and more I want
things settled in the ring.”
Winters nods.
Winters: “Fair enough. I’m sure we will hear from Kandis
further.”
CHBK: “I’m sure we will. And at some point, she’ll be
back in the ring and hopefully reconsider her actions.”
Winters: “To this end, we need to ask as the rumours are
out there. People have talked. The timing, the convenience of it all – are you
protecting Selena Frost?”
CHBK: “I have no personal agreement with Selena Frost.”
Winters: “What about SCW then? Are they protecting her?”
CHBK nods.
CHBK: “Per the agreement for her returning, there were a
series of agreements that involved, if she became World Champion, they would
come into play. The first is that SCW would endeavour to limit attacks outside
of matches. I knew of Kandis’s hotheadness and given how personal this was and
I acted pre-emptively. That’s all there is there. Nothing more. You can say
it’s convenient. I say it is me understanding how wrestler’s react and being
proactive.”
Winters: “But then what about Selena’s comment earlier to
Kirsten Scott? Is there more?”
CHBK: “There is. To ensure things are settled in the
ring, Selena Frost demanded, for her to return, that should a match be
announced for her World Title, they would have beat her in the ring and this
meant that if someone attacked her beforehand, outside of a sanctioned match,
they would forfeit their title shot.”
Winters pauses a moment. The crowd boos.
Knots: “Why?”
Winters: “So like the old TV Title rules?”
CHBK: “Something like that.”
Winters: “I have to ask, and I say this, having been
Selena’s friend, and I know how frustrated she was, but…this is a lot to give
her and she…she walked out though and-“
CHBK: “And that one marketing individual who put out her
name and as a result, falsely advertised her…our leverage was gone. And
ultimately, whether you like Selena or not, you agree with her attitude or not,
think she is annoying or not, she is a top talent in this sport. And
ultimately, SCW wants the top talent. And if the price to pay is ensuring
matches get settled in the ring, that was an agreement I, and the Board of
Directors, was happy to sign off on.”
Winters: “So this is only while she’s World Champion.”
CHBK: “Yes. She wanted integrity. This is giving her
opportunity to show proof of concept.”
Winters: “Thanks-“
CHBK turns as Beard then comes into view.
Beard: “Alex…CHBK…Sorry to interrupt.”
CHBK: “No, what is going on? Do I need to deal with
something-“
Beard: “No, no…just…can we talk?”
CHBK: “Now?”
Beard: “Just watching this and…sorry, I can come back-“
CHBK: “No…”
CHBK turns to Jessica Winters.
CHBK: “Anything else needing clarification about this?”
Winters: “No, please go ahead. I know how busy you are.”
CHBK: “Thank you.”
CHBK motions to Beard to head into his office as Jessica
Winters looks a bit confused and then turns to the camera.
Winters: “Well, there are a few answers. Kandis is
suspended, without pay. Alex Desoubrais claiming the security was proactive and
that Selena Frost has a number of clauses that triggered upon her becoming
champion as part of the revised deal that had her return to the ring in SCW.
The business of professional wrestling getting a clear magnifying glass on it.
Back to ringside.”
We cut to ringside where we see Adam Sharper and Jonathan
Knots.
Knots: “That’s that, huh?”
Sharper; “Maybe, but obviously, some concern about those
clauses. I get why, but it also feels like SCW is protecting Selena Frost.
Selena never backed down from a fight-“
Knots: “Maybe she’s now just choosing the fights she
wants to be a part of.”
Sharper: “We will see how it goes. This does shed some
more light on her comments earlier tonight. But it also may raise more
questions. CHBK left before the question I wanted to ask – are there any more
clauses?”
Knots: “Someone can find out for us through trial and
error!”
Sharper: “With the World Title potentially hanging in the
balance?”
Knots shrugs.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns as we see
Deanna Frost walking through the backstage area with the SCW United States Championship
over her shoulder. She then takes a few steps before going over to the officials’
room. She knocks on the door.
Deanna: “Is Aaron around?”
Steve Hollinsworth motions to
Aaron Demitra. Demitra walks over.
Demitra: “Deanna…what can I do
for you?”
Deanna: “Just…sorry, I have to
just ask. It’s been on me and just given some of the rumblings…did you just get
caught out of position or-“
Demitra sighs.
Demitra: “That’s all it was. Just
a mistake and unfortunately, I’ve heard those rumblings too.”
Deanna: “With Selena asking for
you, some are now even throwing you under the bus with her and…”
Demitra: “I didn’t figure you’d
have a problem if it was true. Though you know it isn’t.”
Deanna: “Well that’s what I have
a problem with. Your reputation going into tatters and…”
Deanna pauses for a moment.
Deanna: “Never mind. Sorry…just
needed to check.”
Demitra: “No, I get it. I do…Good
luck in your next defense.”
Demitra heads back into the
officials’ room. Deanna steps back and shakes her head and walks off.
Breakdown opens up backstage to
see a crew member with a clipboard standing by the tunnel. They look around
before we see a production crew member running over. They whisper to one
another before the crew member grabs their walkie-talkie.
Crew: “Can I get CHBK? There’s a
couple of absences. No shows.”
Crew waits for a response before
we abruptly cut to the ringside area as Sharper and Knots look up at the
camera.
Knots: “Top operation here!”
Sharper: “Well, Jon…we were
expecting to see SMP against Crystal Zdunich in this spot. And, apparently,
they’ve not come to the tunnel.”
Knots: “Were they hear?”
Sharper: “I would assume so. We
have a bell time. Everyone has to check in, unless something wasn’t passed
down, for-“
The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing
sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. We
cut to the backstage area we see Syren, in her full ring gear, complete with
black ring jacket and pink halter-top/black tights, making her way down a
corridor. Lexy runs over to her and grabs her by the arm. Syren stumbles a bit
as she looks around.
Syren: “What? Now?”
Chapel: “Come on! It worked!”
Syren and Chapel stagger forward as Chapel remains on her
feet and Syren gets hers under her. They start to head to the tunnel. Chapel
and Syren run past the crew member. The camera turns to the stage as a few
moments pass. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits. She crowd cheers.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY
We then see Lexy Chapel and Syren walk out from the back.
Chapel stops and turns and immediately starts to show off Syren. Syren looks
around, turning on her smile and trying to reset and get in the zone. She looks
around before then posing on the stage. She starts to head to the ring.
Sharper: “Lexy Chapel said something worked…”
Knots: “I think the wheels are turning now.”
Sharper: “Syren in her ring gear. She was not scheduled
to compete tonight. That’s one thing for sure. And she’s ready to compete.”
Knots: “So what does Lexy have in mind!”
Syren walks to the ring as Lexy Chapel follows behind. Syren
jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and
waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her,
she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches
to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.
Lexy then goes over to Jason Phillips and is handed a microphone. Lexy smiles
and turns to the ring.
Chapel: “Don’t worry! Don’t worry! LexyCorp to the
rescue!”
The crowd cheers a bit as Lexy Chapel walks up the steel
steps and into the ring.
Sharper: “Well I guess that clarifies a bit.”
Chapel looks around.
Chapel: “Now, Retribution…well we’re to going to talk
about Retribution. Terrible night. Terrible event. NOTHING worth while
happened…although Syren has to start her streak over again. Looking at you
Twisted & Sadistic…and Xander…you all suck!”
Chapel glares into the camera.
Chapel: “But then, my father, for some reason, didn’t
book Syren. I thought we made it clear. I thought Syren made it clear. She
would compete, over and over, until she won those ten matches and then she
could take out Selena Frost, the world would rejoice and medals, trophies, and
GREATNESS would reign. But oh no…have to give her a night off. Well, don’t
worry, Lexy is here to rectify that. Oh yes. No conspiracy is going to keep us
down. Some people don’t show up. That’s fine. Let them. Crystal Zdunich, we
already knew you couldn’t handle the pressure. I gave you it all, including
AMAZING sponsorship, but nope. And the…who was she facing?”
Lexy turns to Syren. Syren then responds to her.
Chapel: “SMP? Wait…a psychic? She was facing a psychic?!”
Syren leans over again and corrects her.
Chapel: “Oh…those are his initials. Pfft. Whatever. Syren
is better than that!”
Chapel resets.
Chapel: “But that’s why we have a SPECIAL match. Lexy
Chapel presents it too. That’s right. Syren, she’s going to be action. And
she’s going to get back to those ten wins. And it starts again tonight, right
now. Bring out her opponent!”
Chapel turns to Syren.
Chapel: “You’re going to love this. SPECIALLY picked for
you.”
Chapel smiles as Syren looks a bit unsure and turns. A
few moments pass. A woman’s voice can be heard as the video screens display the
words she's saying in unison.
"Lexy Chapel Proudly Presents"
“FALL ST. PATRICK!”
Then a terribly remixed version of “Miss Nothing” by the
Pretty Reckless plays as the cameras cut to the stage. We then see what looks
obviously to be Autumn Valentine dressed in her gear, but wearing a green mask
with a four-leafed clover on it.
Sharper: “Are you kidding me?”
Autumn does her AVW handsymbols too as Lexy Chapel smiles
giddily in the ring. Syren turns to her as Lexy Chapel tries to even clap along
with the music, bouncing a bit too. Autumn…I mean Fall St. Patrick makes her
way to the ring. She then reaches the ring and hops onto the apron. She looks
in the ring as Syren looks at her. Fall shrugs and flips into the ring. She
hops up and throws her arm up as her music fades out.
Chapel: “Isn’t this great? Now where is that official…”
Chapel looks around and points.
Chapel: “You! Into the ring. Ring the bell.”
Syren looks at Fall St. Patrick uncertain of what to do.
Lexy exits the ring, still beaming at her cunning plan. She then turns to the
ring. Syren looks around and turns to her. Fall says something to her and then
nods. Syren asks her if she’s sure. Fall says yes as Jennifer Cassidy enters
the ring and calls for the bell. The bell sounds.
Sharper: “And, uh, here we go! Syren versus Fall St.
Patrick.”
Knots: “Autumn Valentine.”
Sharper: “I don’t want to have to deal with Lexy
correcting us.”
Lexy turns to the ring as Syren looks back at her.
Chapel: “Look out for the superkick, Fall!”
Chapel then gives a hyper-exaggerated wink. Syren turns
back as Fall St. Patrick then turns and lets out a yell. She turns and runs
into the ropes, bouncing off and then runs at Syren before Syren then hits a
superkick. She clearly tries to miss, but Fall St. Patrick sells it as if she
was hit.
Chapel: “BAM! Superkicks! Solve! EVERYTHING!”
Chapel practically sings it as Syren reluctantly covers
Fall St. Patrick.
1!
2!
3!
The bell sounds and the crowd looks on as Chapel jumps up
and down.
Chapel: “And here is your winner, via pinfall, SYREN,
bitches!”
Syren rolls off as Fall St. Patrick rolls over,
overacting the pain, smacking the mat in a mix of disappointment and pain.
Syren looks down at her as Chapel enters the ring and raises her arm.
Sharper: “And Syren, who I don’t think was part of this
by her reaction.”
Knots: “Is anyone really on the same page as Lexy
Chapel?”
Sharper: “And think, this is how she’s trying to cope
with the Tag titles. For her, the World Championship is everything.”
Knots: “Poor Fall St. Patrick. Just hope we don’t see
Spring Easter later.”
Sharper: “Or January MLK.”
Syren looks around as Lexy continues to celebrate. The
scene then cuts away.
We cut to see Beard stepping out of
the office of CHBK. He takes off his blazer and throws it to the side. He then takes
a few more steps before Jessica Winters notices him.
Winters: “Beard…you okay-“
Beard: “Just great. Just…not cut
out for this work. I guess…Don’t worry about it.”
Beard turns and heads off as
Winters watches him leave, a bit confused.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns as we open up
in the LexyCorp locker room. Lexy Chapel is beaming as Syren stands in the
room, hands on her hips. Fall St. Patrick unveils themselves to obviously be
Autumn Valentine as she throws the mask down.
Chapel: “That went perfectly!
Perfectly! You’re welcome, by the way. Wouldn’t book you and I got you on the
show and we’re not done yet.”
Syren: “Wait…okay…first, you tell
me to get in my gear. Did you do something to Crystal Zdunich?”
Chapel: “Me? Never! I just
figured she’d…not be around. Yeah.”
Autumn: “Think about what she did
to SMP?”
Chapel: “I didn’t do ANYTHING. He
did it.”
Syren: “Lexy…what did you do?”
Chapel: “Nothing. Zealous
representation to get you the match you should have had. And I’ve got another
planned. And you’re now back on the winning streak. One win in. We’re getting
you back into title contention. I mean, Scott is good and all, but she’s mean,
and sucky, and I don’t like her. So there! And Xander…oh no. Can’t have him
stand in your way again. He’s screwed this all up. Now…”
Syren: “We just lost the Tag
Titles. Ravyn and I were starting to come together and-“
Chapel: “World Title is for you.
Aim big. You should be WORLD CHAMPION, Syren!”
Syren: “And I thought we were
happy with me being Adrenaline Champion.”
Autumn: “I thought I was supposed
to be the next one. And well, Fall St. Patrick isn’t the star turn, Lexy.”
Chapel: “Hush, my love.”
Chapel looks into the camera
briefly as if to make sure it was caught on camera.
Chapel: “I have plans for
everyone. I’m the Manager of Champions. I have PLANS! MASSIVE PLANS. Plans to
undo every conspiracy and ring GREATNESS.”
Autumn: “Are you just going to
superkick everything?”
Chapel: “No, but I need to make
sure SCW is getting those t-shirts out. Superkicks do really solve everything.
If only my dad would just…”
Syren: “Lexy…”
Chapel: “I’ve got plans! Don’t
worry. Now….where’s Crow…I mean Ravyn…no Crow!”
Chapel turns and heads off as
Syren and Autumn look at one another. Autumn turns, seemingly a bit resigned,
as the scene cuts away.
Ghost’s “Jesus He Knows Me” starts to play as the crowd
then starts to boo. White lights shine down on the stage as we see Simon Lyman
walk out from the back wearing a white hooded gown. Joining him are Lisa Archer
and Elijah Smith. Simon extends his arms as he starts to walk to the ring.
Sharper: “We were expecting something else here. Simon
Lyman on his way to the ring. He is not yet scheduled to join us. He will be
competing in our main event tonight against Selena Frost.”
Knots: “Saving the world, Sharper!”
Sharper: “One way to look at it. And after Retribution,
taking advantage of Autumn Valentine getting involved which means he is now the
number one contender to the SCW Adrenaline Championship, stealing that from his
opponent and recent rival, Adam Brock.”
Knots: “He can now return to his main goal of saving Bree
Lancaster!”
Sharper: “And to note, Bree Lancaster is not here. She is
away and will be for a little bit of time. SCW’s X account releasing that
information. He hope everything is alright there.”
Simon Lyman reaches the ringside area, joined by his
marketing manager and bodyguard. Simon Lyman then walks up the steel steps and
then along the apron and into the ring. He extends his arms again and then
points at one fan and then touches his heart. Simon walks around the ring as
Lisa Archer walks over to Jason Phillips and is handed a microphone. She takes
it and walks up the steel steps, as Elijah Smith stands in the entrance way.
Archer enters the ring and walks over to Lyman. She hands him the microphone.
Lyman thanks her and looks around. The crowd boos as the music fades out.
Lyman: “Boys and girls…welcome and I thank you for that
response. You all are again witnessing a true path to salvation as despite a
brief detour, Your Savior is back to being able to, unhindered, save Bree
Lancaster through the Adrenaline Championship.”
The crowd boos as Lyman looks around.
Lyman: “Now many of you are hoping I save Selena tonight
and I will do what I can to deal with such a rotted soul, but for this moment,
I want to focus on Sister Breezus.”
Knots: “Did he just?”
Sharper: “Uh-huh…”
Lyman looks around as the crowd looks on.
Lyman: “Sister Breezus, I as so many of us were shocked
by the news that came out by the social media intern of Supreme Championship
Wrestling. You will be taking some time away. I assume to deal with some of the
healing you will need to prepare yourself for when I complete my aim to save
you. The reports said a personal issue…”
Lyman nods.
Lyman: “I can sympathize having had to deal with many
challenges in my illustrious career. Bree…do know that I am here for you.”
The crowd boos. Lyman nods.
Lyman: “Remember, my arms are open to save you. Save you
from the path you are going down. From allying with Josh Hudson, supporting him
in his effort to prevent his redemption, but as we know, those efforts are
private, never to be seen again.”
Lyman nods.
Lyman: “To being so angry, oh so angry, towards me. That
will pass too. It cannot be easy. In fact, while I hate to speculate, wanting
to keep your private affairs private, we all know what this is about Bree. To
be at the highest of highs, retaining the Adrenaline Championship…you probably
celebrated before you realized the pain you are in. You are connected to Amy.
It’s hard to be strong when she is so weak. It all makes sense…I know. Don’t
worry. Look at the tv screen where you are. Reach out, Sister Breezus. Reach
out!”
Lyman extends his hand toward the camera.
Lyman: “Reach out and have your hand touch mine! Reach
out and feel the support I offer you Sister Breezus. Ignore your desire to pull
away, to give into the lies. To probably listen to Amy as she tells terrible
things about me when it is all her fault. Her drinking, Jaina’s drinking – I
mean where else was she at Retribution…Josh Hudson if he’s around – it’s the
only way he can claim he still matters with all of the delusions….and well,
Bree, we know this has all brought you down. The pressures of it all. You, you
woke up drunk, probably in your vomit and Amy’s and you realized that your best
friend had led you to hell. And taking all who you love, some understandably,
some likely from the deep personal psychological trauma you’re suffering from
this…down with her! She’s taking you all down with her, Sister Breezus! You no
longer have to go down that path! You can be freed from that path, and I can
help you, I can be your Savior!”
Simon continues to reach out at the camera.
Lyman: “So again, I’mma reachin’ out Sister Breezus! I’m
giving you a helping hand. Touch your hand to my hand. Take all of your
troubles and I will lift you up. Extend the Adrenaline Championship too. It is
your greatest success, but also the gateway to all of the pressure. Allow me
Sister Breezus to take that from you…deal with your issues, focus on them, and
I will take the weight of the Adrenaline off your shoulders while you recover.
And when you return, you will be saved Sister Breezus. I guarantee it…you will
be saved…by SCW’s Spiritual Adrenaline Champion. That’s right…I will take up
the mantle while you are away.”
Simon smiles and brings his hand down.
Lyman: “I will be your Savior!”
Lyman steps back and extends his arms as the crowd boos.
“Jesus He Knows Me” plays again as Lisa Archer applauds.
Sharper: “A self-serving, arrogant broadside against Bree
Lancaster when she can’t defend herself.”
Knots: “I mean, we know Amy has problems, but Bree-“
Sharper: “Don’t vindicate this! Don’t give it time. He’s
just spinning yarn and saying whatever he can and no one is here to stop him!”
Knots: “Selena Frost may…”
Sharper: “Well, Bree Lancaster may be cheering for her
tonight.”
Lyman smiles as he walks around the ring, posing as the
fans boo some more. Elijah looks around from ringside as Lyman turns and exits
the ring. He drops down to the floor as Lisa Archer follows him. Lyman wraps
his arm around Elijah briefly before thanking him and then starting to walk to
the back.
Backstage, we see Amy Chastaine watching and shaking her
head. She turns as Cassie Wolfe is standing with her.
Wolfe: “He needs to get kicked in the head.”
Chastaine: “I don’t know if that will help. Either way,
he’s not worth anyone’s time.”
Wolfe: “Want me to kick him in the head? I’m pretty good
at that.”
Chastaine: “It’s fine. You have other things to worry
about.”
Wolfe: “Not if he becomes Adrenaline Champion. I mean…that’s
a pretty good place for me to aim.”
Chastaine: “Bree will take care of it. Just…avoid Simon.
He’s not worth anyone’s time for any reason.”
Chastaine heads off as Wolfe looks at the monitor and the
scene cuts away.
COMMERCIALS
Backstage, we see Sean Michael
Prime talking to CHBK.
SMP: “Look, I know…I know I
screwed up. But I had a call-“
CHBK: “Parole officer?”
SMP sighs.
SMP: “Yeah…and I can’t not
answer. Kinda the deal, especially when travelling around the country.”
CHBK: “Well, it may have worked
out in one way. Despite Crystal Zdunich supposed to have faced you tonight,
somehow she was told to head home.”
SMP: “What?”
CHBK: “Yeah, I know. I’m looking
into that. I have some ideas from what I’ve been made aware of and….I think I
may have a solution. Just watch the show, crew will get you, and just be ready
to go.”
SMP: “Thank you….thanks… really don’t want to screw this up.”
SMP nods and heads off.
Marie Jones vs. Derk Adonis
KABLAAAAAAAAAAM!!!
The sound of a xylophone scale is heard, signifying the
start of the KABLAMian Taberacle Choir's jingle, "Come In
KABLAMia"...
Derek Adonis rolls out atop the ramp on a cloud,
alongside a number of the citizens of KABLAMia: Sweet Sangria, Mimi Mimosa, Het
Meisje, and Anastasia Fantasia among them. The crowd rise to their feet in a
raucous applause at the display of flesh in front of them...
Welcome to the land that loves below the belt
The sky’s are clear and pleasure is felt
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia
Adonis partially rises to his knees, waving out to the
crowd as chants of "KABLAM" ring out throughout the arena. The cloud
continues to roll it's way down the ramp.
Where fun-loving people can give right in
To a Man Mountain utopia where everyone wins
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia
Sweet Sangria always dressed in smile
Many men and women will go the extra mile
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia
The women on the cloud toss out small, travel-sized
bottles of Derek Adonis Heavy KABLAM Lubricant and folded up travel brochures
to the crowd.
The lube flows freely, never enough
It’s a copyrighted formula, the right stuff
But even still they make you feel right at home
Whether you love cleaning the carpet or polishing chrome
The cloud makes it to the bottom of the ramp and Adonis
hops off first, reaching up to help the four primary women off. They step down,
each planting a kiss on the cheek of Man-Mountain before heading up the stairs.
Adonis follows up last and pulls himself through the ropes, lifting them for
the four women to enter the ring as well.
We don’t kink-shame here, it never allowed
It’s a comfortable place while you’re being plowed
Your greatest dreams are always on tap
Your can register now with our convenient app
Adonis moves around to the four corners, climbing onto
the bottom rope to throw out travel brochures as far as he can.
That’s right, KABLAM is expanding…
It’s the dream of Derek Adonis
Come in KABLAMia, sunny KABLAMian
We mean YOU!
After finishing (heh), Adonis moves to the middle of the
ring, posing with the four women around him. As the song ends, he bellows out
with it...
Adonis: "KABLAAAAAAAAAAAAM!"
"You and I walk a fragile line
I have known it all this time
But I never thought I'd live to see it break
It's getting dark and its all too quiet
And I can't trust anything now
And its comin' over you like its all a big mistake"
Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen….
"Holding my breathe, won't lose you again
Something's made your eyes go cold"
Announcer: ..."The Phoenix" Marie
Jones!!!!!!!!!!
A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp.
Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing
her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat
condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who
cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her
finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor
Swift begin to flow through the arena. Marie begins to make her way down
towards the ring. As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with
fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring
and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story. Marie
hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the
audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring. She
then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms
up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd.
Derek starts with quick jabs, backing Marie up into the
ropes. He sends her into the ropes and takes her down with a hard
shoulder tackle. He goes for an elbow drop but Marie rolls out of the
way. Marie with a Kip Up into a Frankensteiner taking down Derek.
He staggers back to his feet but Marie connects with a spinning heel kick that
sends her tumbling through the ropes and onto the apron. Marie with a
springboard dropkick sending Adonis to the outside. Derek pulls himself
up but is knocked back down by a suicide dive through the ropes from Marie
Jones taking him down.
Sharper: “Marie airborne! Through the ropes!”
Knots: “And Man Mountain is a pretty big target!”
The Phoenix rolls back into the ring. She charges
and delivers a suicide corkscrew plancha onto Adonis! Marie rolls Derek
back into the ring. Marie leaps over the top with a springboard 450
splash! The cover…

…2Kickout!
Jones ascends to the second rope and measures
Derek. He pushes himself up. Marie leaps off, going for a
blockbuster, but Adonis steps to the side and Marie hits nothing but
canvas. Derek hits the ropes and connects with another shoulder tackle,
another shoulder tackle, and then a big splash to the prone Marie.
Sharper: “Derek Adonis throwing his weight around. Right
down onto Marie.”
Knots: “That may be it. Just go for the cover, man!”
Derek pulls Marie up and scoops her up and slams her back
down to the mat. He scoops Marie up and body slams her again. He
pulls her up and delivers a suplex. Derek Adonis pulls Marie up to her
feet. He pulls her back up to her feet and hooks in a full nelson.
Marie struggles in the hold, refusing to quit. Eventually, after about
ten seconds, Marie counters the full nelson with a cutter variation.
Sharper: “And Marie fighting out. Adonis down. Marie
needing to get crafty as while Adonis may not be the most technically sound, he
does have size and strength on his side.”
Knots: “Plus, his cardio is improving with his work in
KABLAMia!”
Jones rolls over to the ropes and uses them to pull
herself up. She sees Adonis back to his feet and she snaps off a
superkick. Derek is staggered but doesn’t fall. Marie then charges
in with Kissed By Fire, busaiku knee strike! Adonis is down! Marie
charges towards the ropes, springboard into the Divine Impact! She hooks
a leg…

2…Kickout!
Marie pulls Adonis back to his feet. She sets him
up for The Vindicator, looking to end it, but Adonis counters it into a full
nelson sit out drop. Derek pulls Marie up and drops her with a fallaway
slam. Derek goes up to the second rope and comes off with a big splash!
He covers…

2…Kickout!
Sharper: “Only two! Marie managing to kick out.”
Knots: “Her life flashed before her eyes.”
Derek pulls Marie up and whips her into the ropes.
He charges in, looking for a stinger splash, but Marie moves out of the way and
Derek hits nothing but corner! He staggers out of the corner. Marie
with a pele kick. Derek goes to one knee. Marie goes up to the top
turnbuckle. She leaps off and connects with a missile dropkick, putting
Derek down. Jones grabs his legs and tries to turn him over into the
Angel’s Arch but Derek is still too strong and shoves her away.
Sharper: “Fighting off the Angel’s Arch. Adonis with that
lower body strength.”
Knots: “Well-“
Sharper: “Nope! Don’t even go there!”
Derek Adonis with a battering ram to Marie. Adonis
with a running face-wash boot. Adonis locks in a bear hug. He keeps
it locked in for twenty seconds before changing into a bear hug slam. He takes
Marie, hoists her up, and drops her with a sitout power bomb. He covers…

2…
…3NO!
Derek Adonis pulls Jones back up. He sets her up
for a brain buster. He hoists her up for it but Marie manages to slip
free. Back cracker to Adonis! Jones charges towards the ropes and
delivers a springboard Divine Impact onto that same lower back! Marie
hits the ropes and delivers a second straight Divine Impact onto the lower
back! Marie takes the legs and wraps him up in the Angel’s Arch.
Sharper: “And now the Angel’s Arch. Now has it locked in.”
Knots: “And he’s fighting!”
Derek Adonis is still quite strong and despite Marie’s
best efforts, he manages to crawl towards the ropes. Adonis reaches the
ropes after about ten seconds, forcing a break. Marie takes Adonis and
sets him up for the pedigree, her mother’s Hot Shot, but Derek back drops out
of it. Derek with a stalling brainbuster. He drops a big splash
onto Marie. Derek then climbs up to the top turnbuckle.
Sharper: “To the top! This…could be it.”
Knots: “Forever depending on how this goes!”
Derek goes for The Top Rope Fuckinator…but Marie steps
out of the way, avoiding it! Marie with a knee to the face. Marie with
another Kissed by Fire, busaiku knee strike, and Adonis goes down again.
The Phoenix signals that this is the end as she waits for Adonis to pull
himself back up. Marie takes Derek and sets him up for Ave Maria…she connects,
dropping him on his head! She covers…
1…
2…
…3!
The bell sounds and Marie rolls off.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, “The Phoenix” Marie
Jones!!!”
Marie looks over to Derek Adonis and looks around as the crowd
cheers her. She slowly gets up as Adonis remains down, wincing in pain. Marie
raises her arm and walks around.
Sharper: “Now let’s go backstage where Marie’s sister,
Kimberly Williams, will be with Destiny Page, discussing her big win at
Retribution!”
Backstage, we see a shot of Kimberly Williams talking to
Destiny Page.
Page: “Thank you Adam. Destiny Page here and-“
Kim: “I just won!”
Page: “Kim…”
Kim: “Okay, fine. Marie did. But what if it was me? Huh?
Is it me? Did we switch? You’re figuring it out right now.”
Page: “Uh…”
Kim: “Ah…newbies. Where’s Jaina? Did you kill her and
lock her in your cabin in the woods?”
Page: “I…uh…”
Kim: “Oh, this is going to be fun. Also, still
Underground Champ. How about that? And after that war at Retribution. I like
Davey Boy. He’s a good one. Thanks SCW for hiring him and-“
Kim smiles.
Kim: “DAVEY!”
We see David Striker head over to her as Chris Dumont
stands in the background.
Striker: “Sorry to interrupt.”
Destiny shakes her head.
Striker: “But we need to talk.”
Kim: “Oooo…about what? Daisies? Easter Bunnies? The
shifty bastard!”
Striker: “No…you know what. We had too much out there.”
Kim: “You know how to get to my heart, Davey Boy.”
Striker: “You beat me. I’ve beaten you. We’ve spilled
blood. And I’m going to spill more tonight, but first…I think we need a rubber
match. One more match to see who should hold that.”
Kim smiles.
Kim: “Well Davey Boy. I think then maybe I need to offer
you a challenge. You know…to keep this interesting. Because you’re right. We
have spilled our blood and it was a lot of fun, but we need to keep getting bigger
and better.”
Striker: “So…”
Kim: “Get my attention for the rematch and its yours. Come up with something big.
WOW Kimmy and the Kimmymaniacs! Let’s make this REALLY fun. You think you can
do that?”
Striker smiles.
Striker: “Yeah…yeah I can!”
Kim: “Look forward to seeing if you have deserved my attention.”
Kim smiles as Striker backs up nodding as the scene fades
out.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns as we see Ravyn
Taylor standing stoically as a black beak appears to have been placed on her
head. We see Lexy Chapel standing across from her.
Chapel: “Stay still!”
Chapel then pulls off a piece of
scotch tape and reaches up.
Ravyn: “This is ridiculous, you
understand.”
Chapel: “Shush Crow Swift. This
is brilliant. And you said you’d go along with anything to help Syren!”
Ravyn: “This is true. And your
creativity is boundless.”
Chapel stops and smiles.
Chapel: “Thank you. The different
bird. Then Swift, because Taylor and-“
Chapel pauses.
Chapel: “You’re mocking me…I knew
it Satan!”
Ravyn: “I was genuine. I would do
anything to help Syren.”
Chapel then mutters under her
breath.
Chapel: “Except not get beaten at
Retribution.”
Ravyn: “Excuse me?”
CHBK then walks up to the two of
them and clears his throat.
Ravyn: “Hello Alex.”
Chapel: “Leave me alone dad. You
don’t seem to care about Syren, so I am doing EVERYTHING.”
CHBK then reaches up and grabs
the “beak” that Lexy was putting on Ravyn and pulls it off.
CHBK: “It’s made out of
construction paper. Seriously?”
Chapel: “I’M MAKING IT WORK!”
Ravyn: “She’s trying, you have to
admit.”
CHBK: “Why are you going along
with this?”
Ravyn: “Would you believe me if I
said the power of love? Is there not anything you’d do for your wife…oh wait…”
CHBK: “Well I’ll save you the
embarrassment of going out there in construction paper and getting
superkicked.”
Chapel: “They solve everything!
You should use it too! Kandis! Bam! Done! Selena! Same! Bam-“
CHBK: “Lexy…”
Chapel: “Well it’s true.”
Chapel pouts.
CHBK: “Go tell Syren to get
ready. Actually ready. She’ll have a proper match tonight.”
Chapel: “What? Seriously? And how
DARE you besmirch the talents of Fall St. Patrick.”
CHBK: “How about telling her that
thanks to her actions, which you did, that Adrenaline Championship is going to
be a lot further away now.”
Chapel: “That’s Autumn! Not Fall!
All people who look like my wife look the same to you, huh?!”
Ravyn: “Come on Lexy. Come.”
Ravyn grabs Lexy and starts to
drag her away as the scene cuts away.
All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised
pop from the fans. “In the Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan Kicks begins to
play, the LED screens flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front
of a starry night sky with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re
slowly shifting and dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully
glide through the sky. One spotlight comes to life on the left side of the
stage from the camera’s perspective, revealing Amelia Blythe standing
underneath it, eyes focused on the ring and a small smile on her lips as her
hands are folded in front of her, giving her the look of a proper young lady. A
second spotlight comes to life on the right side of the stage, revealing La
Pequeña Luz standing underneath it with the kind of grin that could light up a
room all on its own as she motions with her hands for the fans to get pumped
up, which they immediately proceed to do. They both wear their SCW World Tag
Team Championship belts. The two slowly turn their attention to one another and
begin closing the distance, their spotlights following them as they stop within
arm’s reach of one another, where Amelia extends her hand and Luz takes it
before they pull their bodies close, the spotlights merging into one piercing
through the darkness. When the song goes into the chorus, the two ladies begin
to literally waltz their way down to the ring, fast and fluid to keep pace with
the song as the spotlight follows their every move, leaving fans mesmerized by
their synergy.
Sharper: “A celebratory waltz for La Pequena Luz and
Amelia Blythe. The new SCW World Tag Team Champions. They were victorious at
Retribution.”
Knots: “Yeah and got the monkey off their back.
Retribution used to be a night of dread. Now one of victory. Beat Dark Fantasy.
Beat Twisted & Sadistic. Both go to the back of the line and Light in the
Darkness await who is next!”
As the chorus reaches its end and the two find themselves
at the bottom of the ramp, they push away from one another as far as their arms
will allow without letting go before quickly pointing to the LED screens with
their free hands, where the night scene is immediately engulfed in white before
transitioning to a video package of the two ladies in action, both together and
individually. Slowly, the two release one another, the single spotlight
splitting in two again as Amelia makes her way up the steps to walk across the
apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz,
meanwhile, hops up onto the apron right in front of her and grabs the top rope
before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet.
She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees, cupping her hands
together in front of her while Amelia stands right behind her, hands folded
before her once again. As Luz lifts her cupped hands upward, the arena lights
slowly begin to come back on as Amelia takes her hands and pulls her to her
feet, spinning her around one final time into a tight embrace and a soft kiss
before Amelia goes over and is handed a microphone by Jason Phillips. She turns
back to the middle of the ring as Luz talks to her and Amelia then starts to
talk.
Blythe: “Thank you for that.”
The crowd politely cheers.
Blythe: “And yes, as you can see,
Luz and I…we are World Tag Team Champions again.”
The crowd cheers some more.
Blythe: “And it was a hard fought
match. Dark Fantasy. Twisted & Sadistic. They both brought it. They both
tried to fight their match, but in the end, Luz was who ensured that we were
prevail, illuminating the night and all others, hitting Brittany Lohan, and
ironically enough…the woman who ensured these three teams would meet again, she
met her downfall and we ended the reign of Twisted & Sadistic.”
The crowd cheers a bit, although
there are some boos.
Blythe: “I’ll let Braddock and
Lohan do their own postmortem on their reign, but they will need to wait to
challenge again if they so desire. Because by the terms we agreed to…our lives
intertwined since last fall, it is over. Twisted & Sadistic and Dark
Fantasy must earn their rematch. While we now stand here as champions awaiting
who is next.”
Blythe hands the microphone to
Luz as the crowd cheers.
Luz: “And opportunity for a new
challenger or challengers I should say. One of the other teams to step up and
get their chance at the gold. To be that next team who could break through…or
and opportunity for Twisted & Sadistic or Dark Fantasy if they so choose to
redo their past dominance. Simple as that. But we wait-“
“Seek and Destroy” hits the PA system as the crowd begins
to cheer. Luz and Blythe turn to the stage. The lights flicker along with the
opening riffs and beat of the drums.
“Alright
We're scanning the scene in the city tonight
We're looking for you to start up a fight
There's an evil feeling in our brains
But it's nothing new, you know it drives us insane…”
The Tron shows Chance and Kelsai hitting various moves in singles matches,
before a shot of them standing together appears. The image fades, as Chance
Owens and Kelsai Adamson are shown walking out from behind the curtain.
“Running, on our way
Hiding, you will pay
Dying one thousand deaths
Running, on our way
Hiding, you will pay
Dying one thousand deaths
Come on now”
Chance and Kelsai charge down the ramp and slide into the ring simultaneously.
The crowd continues to cheer as Chance and Kelsai get up and stand across from
Luz and Blythe.
Sharper: “Chance Owens. Kelsai Adamson out. The Seekers joining us.”
Knots: “And Twisted & Sadistic gave them their shot a
few weeks ago.”
Chance and Kelsai continue to stand across from Luz and
Amelia before Kelsai takes the microphone from Luz and brings it to her mouth.
Luz looks at her hand and then Kelsai.
Adamson: “Stop acting like you don’t know who is next.”
The crowd looks on.
Adamson: “That’s where we come in. We beat Team Desire at
Retribution. We weren’t pinned by Twisted & Sadistic when they decided to
give us a match. Against Dark Fantasy, we weren’t beaten clean. We’ve not had a
clean shot at those.”
Adamson looks at the titles, pointing at them.
Adamson: “And why people may overlook us, we’re done
being overlooked. We’re here because we are next in line, period. There’s no
one else.”
Owens takes the microphone from Adamson.
Owens: “And so, Luz, Amelia, don’t disrespect us by
claiming you’re not paying attention.”
Luz can be seen saying, without the microphone, “We’re
not disrespecting you.”
Owens: “There’s no one else ahead of us. So see you at
Taking the Leap and unfortunately, for you two, your reign is going to be a lot
shorter this time.”
Owens extends the microphone back to Luz and Blythe as
Blythe takes it. “Seek and Destroy” starts to play. Kelsai and Chance then back
up as Blythe and Luz look at the young team somewhat stunned. Kelsai and Chance
exit the ring, dropping to the floor, and heading to the back. The crowd looks
on as the scene cuts away.
Backstage, we see Chris Cannon with
Jessica Winters at the SCW interview area. The crowd cheers seeing him.
Winters: “Welcome backstage with
Jessica Winters here. I’m with Chris Cannon and Chris, I need to talk to you.
You said you’d clarify a few things tonight. You returned at Retribution, but
not to the ring, but seemingly in the corner of…”
Winters looks off camera as Chris
smiles. The woman he was with at
Retribution comes into view.
Cannon: “You want to know about
her…here’s your scoop, as promised. The answer is in the name.”
Winters: “Excuse me?”
Cannon: “Retribution.”
Winters: “Retribution? Against
Kaori and CTO?”
Cannon: “No, no, no. Sadly for
them. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong company for them to try and join. That’s
the unfortunate part.”
Winters: “Then what do you mean
about Retribution?”
Cannon extends his arm to the
woman, bringing her more into the view.
Cannon: “Her retribution.”
Cannon turns to Winters.
Cannon: “She was promised something
once and got ghosted. She had a contract. The ink wasn’t even dried before she
was ignored and cast aside and someone else got the opportunities. And well…”
Winters: “Who are you talking
about?”
Cannon shrugs.
Cannon: “The person who did it…they
know. But they’re not important in this. She is. And Valkyr…she’ll rise to the
occasion and she’ll make everyone regret it. And she’ll be in action soon.”
Cannon smiles and then motions to
Valkyr. They walk off camera as the scene fades to commercial.
COMMERCIALS
The scene opens up backstage as
we see Adam Brock pacing a bit back and forth. He shakes his head.
Brock: “This close…”
Brock chuckles.
Brock: “This close and I could be
facing Bree. Instead, Simon rewarded. Simon…we’re not done. But my attention is
temporarily turned away. As I just look at who caused it…”
Brock sighs.
Brock: “Do you not understand that
you lost Autumn? And then with what happened earlier? Lexy having you run out…that
did you no favours. CHBK said so himself and trust me, I’ve been on his wrong
side too. But looks like you just screwed yourself out of an Adrenaline
Championship shot anytime soon. Too bad you’ve just awakened the wolf inside to
come after you.”
Brock looks at the camera.
Brock: “You got involved in
something that didn’t need to include you. You had your shot. You lost. But
then you came out and thanks to your intervention, someone more undeserving has
their shot and you’ve already heard the crap he’s spewing. Well…Autumn…You used
to not give an eff, so I’ve heard. I wonder if you will when I’m done and trust
me, the manager of champions won’t be able to help you here.”
Brock turns and heads off as the
scene cuts away.
Chris Dumon & David Striker
vs. European Fiery Nation
“Off To War” by Behemoth plays over the sound system with
the lights being dark as ever as Ginny in the middle, Ludvig on the left and
Dakon on the right-hand sides, looking at the crowd and got heavy boos. When
the lights briefly came back on, you see Dakon, Ludvig and Ginny waving their
Norway, Sweden, and German flags. Ludvig and Dakon are on the left and
right-hand side.
Phillips: “The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall and will be
fought under Underground Rules! Making their way to the ring, accompanied by
Ginny Raab, representing the European Fiery Nation…coming from Sweden, Norway
and Germany, they are Ludvig Eriksson, Dakon Theron!”
The lights went out again. They walked down to the ring with their flags and
stepped on the stairs and did a hold-up in the middle of the ring as they gave
their flags to Ginny, and she left the ring to go to the back, leaving the two
men in the ring. When the lights returned, they wait for their opponents’
arrival.
“Man in the Box” by Like a Storm plays and the crowd roars. A few moments pass
before David Striker walks out from the back. The crowd roars as David Striker
takes a few steps and then stop and scans the arena. He then nods a bit as he
turns to the ring.
Phillips: “And their opponents…Introducing first from Cameron, North Carolina,
he is Bam Bam David Striker!”
“Wild Thing” by X plays as the crowd cheers a bit. A few moments pass before
“The Ronin” Chris Dumont walks out from the back. He looks around the arena,
taking it all in before looking and nodding at Striker. They face the crowd
before they head to the ring. Dumont throws his fist in the air as he does,
focusing on the opponents before him.
Phillips: “And his partner, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is The Ronin, Chris
Dumont!”
The crowd cheers a bit as they reach the ring and hop onto the apron. Dumont
wipes his feet and enters before heading over to the corner, raising his fist
as he does, while Striker stands on the rope, riling the crowd up a bit more.
Sharper: “Here we are ladies and gents. We’ve seen these four men brawling
earlier…OH WAIT!”
Just then the cameras show Ludvig and Dakon attack Dumont and Striker from
behind. Ludvig clotheslines Dumont over the top rope to the floor, while Dakon
grabs Striker’s left leg and pulls him down, causing him to go throat first
into the ropes. Striker bounces back and Dakon catches him and hits him with a
German suplex.
Knots: “They’re competing under hardcore rules, so anything goes!”
The bell rings as Ludvig rolls back inside, brandishing a steel chair. Striker
is shown pushing himself only for Ludvig to slam the chair across his back.
Dakon then stomps on Striker’s back, before picking him up from the mat. Ludvig
drives the chair into Striker’s abdomen, causing him to double over. Dakon
hooks Striker and hits him with another German suplex.
Dakon gets up and stands next to Ludving, only for Dumont to be shown coming
off the top rope, taking both down with a flipping neckbreaker. The crowd
cheers as Dumont gets to his feet. He grabs Ludvig and hits a snap suplex into
the chair. Dakon gets and goes to stomp Dumont, but he blocks it as he gets to
his feet. Dumont then pulls Dakon into an exploder suplex.
Sharper: “Well, Ludvig and Dakon hit their opponents with a sneak attack, but
Dumont turned the tide.”
Striker is then shown getting to his feet and hitting Ludvig with a missile
dropkick, sending Ludvig to the outside. Dumont lifts Dakon up, but Dakon fires
away with a European uppercut. Dumont staggers a bit, before Dakon kicks him in
the midsection. Dakon hooks him and lifts Dumont up before dropping him down
with a powerbomb onto the chair. Dakon then goes for a cover.
1!
2!
Striker breaks it up. Ludvig is shown rolling into the
ring, getting to his feet, and nailing Striker with a punt to the side of the
head. Striker rolls away as Ludvig and Dakon pick Dumont up. Ludvig hits a
European uppercut then follows up with a knee to the face. Dumont falls to the
mat, as Ludvig picks up the chair. Konrad is shown on the outside digging under
the ring, before sliding in another chair followed by a table.
Knots: “Looks like the returning Konrad Raab wants his team to pick things up
in the violence department.”
Dakon places the table in the corner while Konrad slides another one into the
ring. Striker is shown pushing himself up only for Ludvig to drive one of the
chairs into Striker’s back once again. He then connects with Striker’s legs
before hitting the back a second time.
Dumont is shown using the ropes to get to his feet. Dakon notices this and
charges, only for Dumont to land a punch to the abdomen. Ludvig, still holding
the chair, charges over as well and swings, but Dumont dunks under, hooking
Ludvig and hitting a belly to back suplex. Dumont gets up just as Dakon runs
over, going for a clothesline, but Dumont blocks that, spins Dakon around and
hooks him, before Dumont hits a release German into the table. Striker then
crawls over and goes for a cover of his own.
1!
2!
Ludvig dives over and breaks it up. Dumont deadlifts Ludvig up from the mat and
hits a German suplex. Ludvig rolls out of the ring as Striker is shown pulling
Dakon up from the mat.
Sharper: “Ludvig manages to break up the pin but gets German suplex for his
efforts.”
Knots: “Raab loaded his boys up with weapons, but the team of Dumont and
Striker may have made him regret that decision.”
Raab is shown pulling Ludvig up to his feet on the outside and pushing him
towards the ring. Ludvig rolls inside as Dumont and Striker hook Dakon. Ludvig
chop blocks Dumont as Dakon then hits a few shots to Striker’s ribs. Dakon then
tells Ludvig to set the table up. Ludvig unfolds the table, setting it up in
the center of the ring. Dakon hooks Striker and lifts him up, only for Dumont
to run over and chop block Dakon. Striker then reverses Dakon’s hold into a
hurricanrana, while Dumont and Ludvig are shown brawling on the opposite side
of the corner.
Sharper: “Dakon looked like he was about to send Striker through the table, but
Dumont saved the day just in the nick of time.”
Ludvig hits Dumont with a European uppercut, before Dumont fires back with a
European uppercut of his own. Ludvig stumbles into the ropes as Dumont charges
and connects with a jumping knee to the face.
Knots: “Dumont sending Ludvig to the outside with what he calls the ‘Tiger
Knee.’ Dakon is all alone now.”
Dakon is shown fighting with Striker, getting the upperhand before Striker
blocks a punch, spinning Dakon and around and pushing him forward into Dumont,
who lifts him up and drives him through the table with a Samoan drop!
Sharper: “Dumont follows that up with the Samoan drop he’s named the ‘Thrill of
the Hunt.”
Dumont gets to his feet and grabs a chair, as Striker is shown pulling Dakon
up. Dumont stands near the apron with a steel chair, glaring at Konrad and
Ginny as they are shown helping Ludvig up. The cameras then show Striker
hooking Dakon and driving him down to the mat with a swinging reverse STO. The
crowd cheers as Striker then hooks the leg.
Knots: “Striker going for the pin after planting Dakon with the Equivalent
Exchange!”
Sharper: “Dumont keeping the rest of the European Fiery Nation at bay, while
the ref makes the count.”
1!
2!
3!
The crowd cheers as the ref calls for the bell. “Man in the Box” blares through
the speakers as Dumont is shown helping Striker up with one hand, the other
still holding the chair. Dakon is shown rolling out of the ring and being
flanked by the rest of the European Fiery Nation.
Phillips: “Here are your winners by result of a pin fall…David Striker and
Chris Dumont!!!”
The crowd continues to cheer as Striker and Dumont celebrate in the ring. We
get another shot of Dakon and Ludvig looking angry with Konrad and Ginny,
before another shot of the winners and then we cut to the back.
We hear an argument as Polly
Pingotti is talking to Aisling and Colleen. Colleen holds her Television
Championship.
Polly: “Just…let me-“
Colleen: “We know you’ve got a
lot. You wanted to win that so bad and-“
Polly: “And I fell short. Look,
I’m proud of you. Just…you deserve this moment to celebrate. I…”
Colleen: “No, this is a we
thing-“
Aisling: “Yeah, we’re a unit-“
Polly: “And I’m the one bringing
us down. Just…don’t follow me to the ring. Just…I need this after everything.”
Polly then turns and storms off
as Aisling goes to follow, but Colleen stops her. She just nods as they watch
her head off.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns to the arena as
we see Polly Pingotti walking down the rampway. She looks around, clearly upset
and disappointed in herself.
Sharper: “And there you see Polly
Pingotti, no music, but clearly annoyed. Was hoping to be standing here as US
Champion. Deanna Frost however successful and again, Polly unable to punch
through that obstacle.”
Knots: “And she wants to be happy
for Colleen, but clearly that just brought to the fore her own shortcomings.”
Polly walks over to the ring and
walks up the steel steps. She enters the ring and walks across it and over to
the corner. She’s handed a microphone. Polly takes it and walks over to the
middle of the ring and stops. The crowd looks on, some cheering, some booing.
Polly just slowly drops down and sits in the middle of the ring, cross-legged.
She then leans forward, cupping the microphone in her hands and leans down.
Polly: “I failed…again.”
Polly pauses for a moment and
looks out.
Polly: “I thought I could. I
thought I could get it done. I didn’t lose to Deanna here on Breakdown. I felt
I could’ve won and I…failed again.”
Polly takes a deep breath.
Polly: “I just wanted to finally
punch through…finally win the SCW United States Championship! Finally hold more
SCW gold…and I failed.”
Polly continues to look down, now
quietly for several seconds.
Polly: “I don’t even know what to
do or say. From having my life turned upside down for so long, to trying to
stop myself from going over the edge, to getting out from Marissa Swanson.”
Polly sighs.
Polly: “To pushing Alexis Quinne
off that scaffold…”
Polly shakes her head.
Polly: “And I sit here the same
place I was. Everything happening to me and NOTHING moving forward. NOTHING.”
Polly sighs and looks down.
Polly: “I don’t even know what
more to say…Deanna Frost…you just are better. Maybe so many are better. Maybe…”
Polly sighs and shakes her head,
looking down before suddenly “Whoa is Me” by Down with Webster plays. The crowd
cheers as a few moments pass before Gavin Taylor walks out from the back and
plays to the crowd a bit. He looks around, microphone in his hand. Polly turns
and looks at the entrance way, almost with disdain. Gavin then turns to the
ring.
Gavin: “Polly…whoa…whoa…”
The music fades out. Gavin then
starts to slowly walk to the ring.
Gavin: “You don’t have to go all
doom and gloom.”
Gavin holds his hand up as some
in the crowd buzz.
Gavin: “No! So you’ve had a rough
patch. I just pissed off Xander Valentine and got my ass kicked for it.”
The crowd roars.
Gavin: “They know. I know too.
But unlike last time that happened, I’m not going to run off and have a
multiple month come to Jesus meeting, while I question whether or not the
All-Star can cut it anymore. Oh no.”
Gavin Taylor walks over to the
ring and grabs the ropes and pulls himself up. Polly remains seated in the
ring.
Polly: “Just go away.”
Gavin: “No, see, I’m good here.
Have a problem and everything. Here, we can get you Ava St. Claire on the
phone. She can come up with a plan and you’ll be back up in no time. And plus,
you may even get in a Dependables movie. They may need a replacement for
reasons, but that’s that…look, I’m the one getting the position around here of
coming close and not getting it done. So Polly, take it from me, you can
rebound and there will be another day.”
Polly: “Are you selling some sort
of self-help crap?”
Gavin looks around.
Gavin: “Please, that’s the Gavin
of old. Trying to be the optimist. I’d even give you the chance to follow me
and all that. No, I’m just out here because I’m a nice guy. And trust me, it’s
not because you’re out here depressing everyone. I get it. It stings. Trust
me.”
Gavin walks over to Polly and
stands over her.
Gavin: “But you want to mope, I’m
pretty sure the people in Pittsburgh here don’t really care. They care about
people who step up and do something. Who actually fight? You want to give up.
Go…Risk throwing it all away. Your friends and all that. Wrestling’s not for
everyone and-“
The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as
the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating
strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of
"Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers,
electrifying the air with anticipation. A few moments pass before the name
“Chris Lawler” appears on the screen. The crowd erupts in cheers.
Sharper: “Wait! What? What?”
Knots: “Where the hell…Chris Lawler?”
Chris Lawler then walks out from the back and looks out
at the ring. The crowd cheers some more as Chris Lawler walks down the rampway
to the ring.
Sharper: “Chris Lawler returning to SCW after years away!
And coming to the ring!”
Chris Lawler reaches the ringside area as Polly slowly
gets up and Gavin turns to Chris Lawler before turning back to Polly. Chris
Lawler pulls himself onto the apron and then steps into the ring. He steps
forward. He looks at Gavin and then Polly before walking over to the corner. He
asks for a microphone. Phillips hands him one and Lawler reaches out and shakes
his hand briefly before turning back. Lawler looks at Polly as Polly shakes her
head, pacing a bit and then turns to Gavin.
Lawler: “Gavin…Gavin Taylor?”
Taylor smirks and extends his arm.
Taylor: “The artist sometimes known as the All Star?”
Taylor extends his hand as the crowd cheers. Lawler
shakes it.
Lawler: “Nice to meet you. I realize the irony about what
I’m going to say…but how about you just leave her alone?”
Gavin: “I’m just giving some help. Being a good soul.”
Lawler: “And she doesn’t want it. And it’s funny coming
back after so much time away…and SCW…how are you of you doing?”
The crowd cheers. Chris Lawler smirks.
Lawler: “Been a while.”
The crowd cheers a bit.
Lawler: “But sometimes things seem the same. People
acting like they know better. People biting off more than they can chew. And
people realizing something needs to change. Well, I’m not here for that. Just
out here because I was signing my new contract…”
The crowd roars. Polly looks down, shaking her head.
Lawler: “And I happened to see this and I can’t.
Look…Gavin, I don’t know you, but I get you were a big deal and Polly, sorry
that you’re struggling, but let her have her moment. She wants to make this
public and-“
Polly: “You know what…I’m right here and I think I know
how I’m going to deal with it.”
Lawler and Taylor turn only for Polly to kick Lawler
right between the legs. Lawler grimaces and falls to a knee.
Sharper: “Oh! Below the belt. Polly with a cheap shot.”
Knots: “He was just trying to help!”
Gavin checks on Lawler as Polly then throws the
microphone at him. Polly turns and exits the ring and drops down to the floor.
She then shakes her head. Polly then starts to head to the back. Gavin looks at
Lawler as Lawler winces, holding himself and leaning back.
Sharper: “Not the return Lawler wanted. Polly Pingotti at
least has a smile.”
Knots: “Well she got something out of that. But Polly
continues to be the hardest person in SCW to read!”
Polly scoffs a bit and heads to the back as the scene
cuts away.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns as Polly walks
backstage. Aisling runs over to her.
Aisling: “You okay?”
Polly: “Yeah…condescending
pricks.”
Colleen heads over to Polly.
Colleen: “You-“
Polly: “Yeah…feel better now.
Gavin always thinking he’s better than anyone. And Chris Lawler coming from
nowhere…probably figured he could angle on a title shot. People always looking
for the weak angle. Not going to be through me.”
Colleen: “Didn’t think you’d let
it. But before-”
Polly: “Needed to get it out.
Let’s just go. We need to celebrate your title win.”
Colleen, Aisling and Polly head
off.
The scene changes to show Chris
Lawler winces a bit backstage as he walks forward. Destiny Page heads over to
him.
Page: “Chris? Chris Lawler?”
Lawler: “You must be another new
person.”
Page: “Destiny Page. The newest
backstage interviewer.”
Lawler: “Great to meet you. I
wish it was under a different circumstance.”
Page: “Well, obviously that
didn’t go as planned.”
Lawler: “Just the reintroduction
I needed. Some people are quick to judge.”
Page: “They seem to be.
Fortunately, I’ve been welcomed quite a bit. Did Gavin-“
Lawler: “Went his own way. Guess
didn’t care for me getting involved, like Polly. Oh well, that’s my
reintroduction. Welcome back to SCW, huh. Well, I’ll have to reintroduce some
people to what I can do.”
Lawler walks past Destiny Page as
the scene cuts away.
The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing
sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. The
heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system.
After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain accompanied by Lexy Chapel.
Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering, as Lexy waves her
arms, trying to get them to cheer even louder for her client.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY
Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron
before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the
fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera
before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about
her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall
and has a thirty minute time limit. First, introducing, being accompanied by
Lexy Chapel and representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles,
California, this is SYREN!”
Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping
to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing
up. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client.
She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Syren takes off her ring
jacket and hands that to Lexy. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a
moment and then jumping back down and standing in her corner with Lexy as her
music fades out.
Sharper: “Syren back out here. Looks like Lexy will get
at least one match booked through Alex Desoubrais.”
Knots: “But we won’t see the illustrious, infamous Crow
Swift in action!”
Sharper: “No, Jon…we won’t. Lexy won’t be able to
immediately pad two wins to Syren’s record.”
As the arena lights dim, a hushed anticipation falls over
the crowd. The haunting notes of Metallica's "Turn the Page" resonate
through the speakers, setting the stage for the arrival of Sean Michael Prime.
Slowly emerging from the shadows. Sean stands at the top of the ramp with a
determined gaze. He walks with purpose down the entrance ramp, his worn
silhouette illuminated by a lone spotlight.
Phillips: “Her opponent, making his way to the ring, from Salem, Massachusetts,
Sean Michael Prime!”
With every step, SMP absorbs the energy of the arena, his long hair flowing in
rhythm with the haunting melody. As the chorus kicks in, the crowd begins to
stir, caught between the raw emotion of the song and the enigmatic presence of
Sean as he slowly approaches the ring. Sean climbs into the ring, casting a
stoic gaze across the audience. The metallic strains of "Turn the

Knots: “Prime thought he had her

rope too often from prison.”
Sharper: “And it caught him and

Selena Frost vs. Simon Lyman
“Jesus He Knows Me” by Ghost plays throughout the arena.
The crowd boos as the lights flash around the stage. A few moments pass before
Simon Lyman walks out from the back in his wrestling robe. He looks around and
poses to the crowd as pyro shoots from both sides of the stage, which only
draws further boos. Lyman glances at the ring before nodding and starts to head
to the ring.
Phillips: “The following contest is your main event,
scheduled for onefall with tv time remaining. First, introducing, from
Columbus, Ohio, he is Simon Lyman!”
Lyman walks down to the ring and goes to the steel steps. He walks up them and
onto the apron. He looks around and nods before stepping into the ring. He
steps forward and extends his arms again. The crowd boos. Lyman looks around,
seemingly annoyed by this response. Simon then undoes the strap of the robe
before sliding the robe down and turning and spinning it around. He looks out
at the crowd before placing the robe over the top rope to the floor. He then
stretches out against the ropes.
Sharper: “We already heard from Simon Lyman earlier and
his transparent attempt to be named the Adrenaline Champion while Bree
Lancaster is away.”
Knots: “Hey, gotta love him for trying!”
Sharper: “Do I?”
Knots: “Yeah. Or don’t. I’m not your dad. And neither is
Simon. Or Bree….or Selena!”
Phillips: “And his opponent, from Nome, Alaska by way of
New York City, New York, she is the SCW World Champion, the Snow Queen, Selena
Frost!”
Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as
she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it
towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly
slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down
the ramp and towards the ring!
Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps
leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes
up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of
the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to
make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue
lights. Raising the title back up, towards the audience, once again palm
upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena
causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of
ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out
purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to
normal. She then hands off the SCW World Championship.
Sharper: “Selena Frost basically saying this is like
clearing the deck. Simon, Asher, Kandis, they were the championship scene while
she was away.”
Knots: “No respect for Konrad.”
Sharper: “Not surprised.”
Knots: “That’s why I’m putting respect on his name. I
don’t want to be killed.”
Sharper: “While The One, Kirsten Scott, will be watching,
but can’t really attack her. She’ll lose her title match. We now know that
clause too.”
