We see the SCW Breakdown logo come up on the screen before we see a shot of Giovanni Aries hitting Selena Frost and Ravyn Taylor with the Down the Rabbit Hole and then showing Sienna Swann hitting the Slice of Heaven on Jake Starr. This is followed by a shot of Donovan Kayl hitting the Point Blank on an opponent before showing Syren nailing Josh Hudson with a steel chair.

We see a shot of Dylan Howell clutching the Adrenaline Championship before showing Jake Starr hitting the Shooting Five Starr on Alistaire Allocco inside the Chamber. We cut to a shot of Konrad Raab doing some shadowboxing in the ring before showing Ikiro Yoshida, Derek Adonis and Manvel in the ring with the KABLAMA Sutra. We follow up with a shot of Gable Winchester walking away from Autumn Valentine and Ryan Watson.

We then see a shot of Ravyn Taylor looking down at herself, while posing in the corner before showing Adrenaline Rush in the ring. Shots of Kennedy Street standing in the middle of the ring posing, followed by Katie Steward posing and Bill Barnhart lifting Ikiro Yoshida up with the Barnhart Shoulder Breaker walking to the ring are shown. This is followed with a shot of Regan Street dropping an opponent with the CATastrophe before showing Bree Lancaster nailing Marie Jones with the Classifier, followed by a shot of Tyler Tucker going for the Caffeine Crash before the SCW Breakdown logo comes back up on the screen.

 

The scene then cuts to show the inside of Viejas Arena in San Diego, California as we see the lights turned out and a red hue coming over the ring as a video plays on the big screen. We see fans in the concourse at some of the merchandising before see a few play to the camera.

 

Spirit: “SCW is back stateside after an eventful and successful tour of Asia. Breakdown rolls into San Diego!”

 

The camera shifts to show another hallway where fans are filing through, before cutting to the inside of the SCW Studios in Toronto as the camera pans in to show Spirit Dansby and Shawn Winters at the desk.

 

Spirit: “Welcome here to the SCW Studios. Spirit Dansby here with Shawn Winters. We’ll take you to San Diego in a few moments, but WTF Wednesday is in the books and we have a lot to talk about. Kennedy Street is still the SCW World Champion, Andrew Raynes is still the Adrenaline Champion, Xander Valentine put everyone on notice and in the process, Syren is holding the final entrance in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal.”

 

Winters: “And with all of that bubbling, we’ve got a lot of angry people. A lot of people wanting our Commissioner to do something. Regan Street returned. Selena Frost was immediately in her face. Tonight, she’s going to face Josh Hudson. Regan made it clear she’s done with Selena and its David’s problem. Add Sienna who feels she should get the second last entrance, thanks to Xander Valentine’s interference. Oh…and Syren wants her rematch too!”

 

Spirit: “And that’s just part of it. Tough decisions for David Helms. David Helms is going to have to figure out how he’s going to deal with all of this.”

 

Winters: “At least he won’t need to deal with Giovanni Aries and Ace Marshall getting at each other.”

 

Spirit: “Giovanni Aries defeating Ace Marshall last week. Ace Marshall is not here tonight. He’s at home. But Cassidy Carter will be in action. That will be interesting to watch. Alistaire Allocco is here too.”

 

Winters: “And then what about the Blake Mason situation. He’s not facing Amy Chastaine and Jason Helms. Wait…let me put that a more correct way – he’s not teaming with his wife!”

 

Spirit: “Another problem for Helms to figure out. What will he do there? Blake Mason is here. Last I checked, he’s still slated to team with Bree whether he likes it or not. A lot on the docket  and we’re not even started.”

 

Winters: “People wonder why it sucks being the boss. Yeah, you get a lot of money, but listen to all of the anger, especially now…with everything amplified with Rise to Greatness just two months away…”

 

Spirit: “And we’re ready to start in San Diego. Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots have the call and who knows what to expect tonight!”

The camera zooms into the screen on the set before we cut to a wide shot of the Viejas Arena and the crowd cheering. The lights around the arena dim leaving the spotlights focused on the stage.

“I’ve got the gift of one-liners,

The opening to “Misery Business” by Paramore suddenly hits the PA system as the spotlights on the stage flash between pink and white and the video screens around the arena begin to play.

After a few moments the curtains part and Syren, Ravyn Taylor and CHBK make their way out on the stage. They look around the arena as the crowd boos.

 

Sharper: “Welcome everyone to San Diego. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots at ringside. We’re kicking things off with Dark Fantasy coming out and they were busy last week and earlier this week too.”

 

Knots: “Not getting into that.”

 

Sharper: “Some back and forth with Kennedy Street earlier this week. On top of that, Syren holds the final entrance in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal.”

 

Knots: “Yeah, but did they bring El Angel back? Ravyn made a huge deal and David offered a Taking Hold of the Flame spot!”

 

Sharper: “I don’t see her yet.”

 

The crowd boos as the trio make their way to the ring, with Syren and Ravyn joining arms as they do so. Ravyn climbs the ring steps and Syren stops in front of the camera and flicks her hair back before singing along with the lyrics, mouthing the words “And if you could then you know you would, cause god it just feels so”, before taking a few more steps and spinning back around to the camera, completing the chorus by mouthing “it just feels SO good!” CHBK takes his time and walks up the steel steps as Ravyn enters the ring. Syren then hops onto the apron and steps through the ropes. She then looks around as CHBK walks across the ring and looks at Ravyn and Syren. Syren poses in the middle of the ring as Ravyn Taylor is handed a microphone by Phillips. She takes it and walks over to the middle of the ring. She smirks as Syren walks around the ring. CHBK looks on from the corner.

 

Ravyn: “Before I get to what well, we’re out here for, let’s just make clear that you’re looking at the final entrant in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. Pay no mind to how it happened. It did. And while some can complain as to the how, it’s sometimes just the way things work and well, it worked out for Syren.”

 

The crowd boos as Syren holds her arm in the air, posing. Ravyn continues.

 

Ravyn: “But I suppose we should get to one problem from last week and that revolves not around the tepid warning that one Christy Matthews gave David Helms. A warning that Christy should perhaps heed herself. She should realize what I am capable of. Just as David and so many others should as well. But one thing that may surprise some people is that I am capable of empathy.”

 

Ravyn looks around.

 

Sharper: “Please.”

 

Knots: “For Syren and CHBK, maybe!”

 

Ravyn: “I am. And that came into play last week after what David Helms said. I remember talking to that very angry, frustrated and annoyed young lady, El Angel, two weeks ago when Kennedy perpetrated the ultimate act of disrespect by trying to remove her mask. Fortunately, similar attempts in the past had her prepared but she figured Kennedy was different, as a result of her redemption tour. She did not like be saying I told you so and so when David made his offer last week, I had intended to pass it by, sparing El Angel the difficult decision to return….but I had a change of heart.”

 

Ravyn pauses.

 

Ravyn: “Even though it could make her a rival, with the offer that David made, I could not hold that opportunity away from her. But alas…there was a problem.”

 

Ravyn stops and shakes her head.

 

Knots: “Come on. She’s probably in that ring right now!”

 

Sharper: “Are you saying?”

 

Knots: “David recognized the smell of her perfume and Kennedy was sure of it! It’s Syren!”

 

Ravyn: “You see, she was already booked to a local promotion in Mexico. Fortunately, I did not want to make this opportunity go to waste and well, Alex…he had a wonderful idea. Apparently, the mask of El Angel is one that is leased out to multiple promoters and well….how about we just let them explain.”

 

The same upbeat rock music from two weeks ago plays and Ravyn smiles as we cut to the back to see another El Angel del Cielo, this one wearing black and gold trim, running down from the back .She stops and looks around before heading down. A few moments pass before a second El Angel del Cielo, this one with dark hair, and in pink and white trim, steps out from the back. She takes a moment to look around before jogging down. We then see a third El Angel del Cielo jog out from the back, she with blonde hair with pink streaks. She stops and heads to the ring. The crowd boos.

 

Sharper: “What in the world…”

 

Knots: “Is this….there are three of them? All different.”

 

Sharper: “She is right. Some promotions do this for particularly popular stars. It’s considered a bit seedy, but I’m sorry, but El Angel del Cielo, as far as I know, is not that popular to warrant this.”

 

The final El Angel hops onto the apron and enters into the ring. She looks around as Ravyn looks at each as Syren introduces herself to each of them.

 

Ravyn: “So I put a few calls and the promoters were very happy for the extra attention, so I think this is the time to-“

 

“BANG!”

 

“All I Want” by A Day To Remember starts to play as David Helms walks out from the back. He just looks down at the ring, shaking his head. He then heads down the rampway to the ring. Ravyn turns and smirks as Syren’s smile disappears a bit. CHBK steps forward. David walks around the ring and over to Jason Phillips and is handed a microphone.

 

Sharper: “Hopefully our commissioner will take care of this farce.”

 

Helms turns to the ring.

 

Helms: “Ravyn…Do you honestly-“

 

Ravyn: “Oh I forgot. Part of the gimmick is that they have to smell…like an angel…Do you need to give everyone a whiff?”

 

Helms rolls his eyes. He then walks along the apron and enters the ring.

 

Helms: “This…this is not what I had in mind and Ravyn, you certainly know it. CHBK, you know it too and Syren, I don’t even know how much you were a part of it.”

 

Ravyn: “Well they are all here to represent the original and defend the good name of El Angel del Cielo. Oh, on SCW’s dime of course. CHBK made sure to file the correct paperwork.”

 

Helms looks down and nods.

 

Helms: “Wonderful. How thoughtful? But I did say I would give them an opportunity and well…I will do that. I’m not going to discuss exactly what that opportunity will entail, but-“

 

Ravyn: “That’s fine that you don’t want to discuss that. How about something a bit more noteworthy – the fact that your World Champion agreed to both defend her title against Syren and face me in singles action on Twitter. In front of the world.”

 

David looks out at the crowd, a bemused look on his face.

 

Ravyn: “Or do you hope that will go away? Or does Kennedy? Did she add to the list of those who’s egos demand the world with nothing to show for it, when we have all to show for it.”

 

Syren then steps forward and grabs the microphone from Ravyn.

 

Syren: “Yeah, David. I want you to look in my face and show that you still can’t think straight about me after all those years. Whether it’s because of your wife or its because you can’t stand me. I have Kennedy dead to rights. Give me my rematch!”

 

David: “Syren…Ravyn….CHBK…I get that Kennedy is happy to shut you all up. But her next defense will be against Donovan Kayl at Taking Hold of the Flame. That’s been approved by the board and I’m not going to change it. I make the matches around here. It’s what I’ve been assigned to do. So you can manipulate or goad or poke or prod….but I’m not going to play those games.”

 

The crowd boos a bit.

 

David: “Sorry…but it has nothing to do with you-“

 

Syren: “Then I want you to say right now, in front of the world, that Sienna Swann has to wait for the roll of the dice. Whatever number she draws? Prove to me right now that you’re willing to also be tough on your wife’s best friend.”

 

David looks out and turns to Syren.

 

David: “That’s easy. She’s going to have to wait for the luck of the draw. Anything else you need me to prove to you. You want to guarantee anything – win Taking Hold of the Flame. Same thing I’m going to say to anyone else wanting a World Championship shot. The only match I’m making is the one that is already made – Donovan Kayl will challenge Kennedy Street at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

 

David then turns to the El Angels.

 

David: “And for each of them…”

 

Ravyn takes the microphone back as Syren glares at David.

 

Ravyn: “They have names you know.”

 

Ravyn playfully jests, almost not even effected by David’s strong stance.

 

Ravyn: “El Angel del Cielo II, III and IV.”

 

David: “Of course.”

 

David scoffs.

 

David: “Send them to the women’s locker room. They can get ready. They’ll have their opportunity.”

 

David turns and steps out of the ring.

 

Ravyn: “Excellent.”

 

Syren is heard speaking to them in Spanish, explaining what David said.

 

Ravyn: “But thank you for being quick for laying your cards on the table. Just like Kennedy did.”

 

David turns back briefly before turning back to the back. “All I Want” by A Day to Remember plays as he returns to the back. Ravyn turns and CHBK and her start to talk. Syren turns and heads over too, joining the conversation.

 

Sharper: “David Helms not budging. Thank God…these women, these El Angels…they’ll get an opportunity. What that is, we don’t know.”

 

Knots: “I don’t even know if Helms knows?”

 

Sharper: “More importantly, he’s not going to cave into people riled up, asking for title shots.”

 

Knots: “Kennedy’s not going to back down from a fight, Sharper!”

 

Sharper: “I get that. I also think Helms realizes that and knows that’s what Ravyn and Syren counted on. But they’re trying to muscle in on things when as we clearly heard, Donovan Kayl cashed in his trios to block Syren from an early rematch. And it sounds like Helms is going to honour that.”

 

Helms continues on his way to the back as Ravyn, Syren and CHBK continue to talk as the El Angels look around the arena.

COMMERCIALS

We open up backstage to see David Helms with Laura Steinbeck in one of the hallways.

 

Laura: “So please tell me that you’re just talking big for them and you’re going to do what is right now with regards to Sienna?”

 

Helms: “No, Laura. I’m not going to just hand Sienna number thirty-nine. Am I happy about how that battle royal ended? No. But I’ve got to accept what happened.”

 

Laura: “No you don’t. You can make it right!”

 

Helms: “By showing favouritism. Just because she was the last tossed out before Syren, doesn’t mean she deserve it. She’s a great wrestler. If she’s that great, she’ll find a way to outlast everyone else in the battle royal.”

 

Helms turns and walks off as Laura lets out an exasperated grunt and turns back and walks off. We cut to the ring.

Cassidy Carter vs. Autumn Valentine

 

The rifts to "Na na na" by My Chemical Romance begins to play throughout the arena as the spoken intro opens up. Strobe lights begin flashing between different shades of blue, green and red in rapid succession as Cassidy Carter steps out to a barrage of boos. She smiles broadly while stepping in a rhythm around the stage to match the beat as her one woman rave show continues. She throws one arm up over her chest while thrusting the other to the side before bowing smugly before the booing masses.

 

Phillips: "Making her way to the ring for the following contest, from Las Vegas, Nevada, The Duchess of Debauchery, Cassidy Carter!"

 

She makes her way down the ramp, now in full spirits, not really focusing on anything. Her arrogance and lack of real concern or worries showing in spades. She reaches the apron before pulling herself up using the bottom rope for support. Standing along it she raises her head up to the rafters while leaning fully into the top rope. She sways her hips seductively before flipping over the top rope, landing inside the ring before turning and throwing her arms up and walking toward the center of the ring, dancing a bit in a straight line to her own theme song. Her self admiration and confidence continuing to be on full display for the world to grovel in. She raises her arms further up, now placing her hands on the back of her head before making her way to the corner. Stepping up onto the second rope she sits on the top turnbuckle before laying back across the top rope, propping her legs crossed casually over the other side. She appears to be becoming slightly impatient now in her comfortable spot waiting for this ordeal to begin and be over with.

 

Sharper: "Cassidy Carter squaring off against Autumn Valentine tonight. Visibly by herself as her husband and the other members to their entourage remaining backstage."

 

The lights dim slightly and the spotlights point down at the stage as the fans quieten in expectation. A woman whispering can be heard across the PA system.

 

“Don’t bless me father, for I have sinned...”

 

“Miss Nothing” by The Pretty Reckless begins playing across the PA system as the fans boo. After a few seconds Autumn Valentine walks out onto the stage with a smile on her face, standing in the middle of the spotlights for a moment before spinning around and holding out her arms downward, revealing the words “DARK FANTASY” on the back of her ring jacket. Autumn spins back around, seemingly enjoying the negative crowd reaction. She stands for a moment before looking back over her shoulder. The fans booing gets louder as she’s joined on the stage by Ryan Watson. Watson holds her hand as the two of them head to the ring.

 

Phillips: "And her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Ryan Watson, from Los Angeles, California, Autumn Valentine!"

 

Once at ringside Autumn jumps up on the ring entrance as Ryan pulls himself up using the bottom rope. He then stands and holds down the middle rope for her to enter. The fans boo louder as Autumn now ascends the ropes in the corner, standing on the middle rope once again soaking in their reaction. She flips back out of the corner, spinning around and landing on her feet. She then removes her jacket, handing it to Ryan who remains on the apron. Ryan jumps down, holding onto her jacket as Autumn walks to the corner, sitting down in the corner and talking with her manager at ringside as he stands outside the ring. The crowd now appears baffled as to who to root for in this contest, Autumn winning out as she steps forward. Cassidy drops down from the corner and yawns while stepping forward. She looks up at Autumn smugly as the referee calls for the bell.

 

Sharper: "Little love for either of these competitors."

 

Knots: "One of those occasions where Autumn is winning a popularity contest. She's facing the anti-Christ."

 

Autumn lunges forward and grapples a hold of Cassidy by the shoulders, beginning to push her back. Cassidy stops the momentum before being pushed into the corner, throwing Autumn's arms down before backhanding her across the face. The crowd roars their disapproval as Autumn blinks before turning her face back toward Cassidy who sticks her tongue out at her. Autumn throws a right hook that plows into the side of Cassidy's jaw, knocking her back into the corner. Autumn reaches up and grabs a hold of Cassidy's head before beginning to ram her face first into the top turnbuckle getting applause. Cassidy looks slightly dazed before becoming miffed at the fourth before swinging wildly back with an elbow that connects hard with Autumn's side. She spins around while jumping up, hooking her legs around Autumn's neck before flipping her with a half delivered hurricanrana, driving her face into the second turnbuckle. She proceeds to roll her up with a school boy. The referee drops down to make a count before Cassidy throws her legs up to the top rope for leverage.

The referee stops before hitting two, seeing Cassidy's wild position. At this point Autumn kicks out, the referee telling Cassidy to stop that. Both competitors stand as Cassidy runs forward and

locks in a headlock on Autumn. She tries to position herself to deliver a swinging neckbreaker. Autumn blocks it, before lifting Cassidy up and flipping her over her head with an exploder suplex. The crowd cheers as Autumn rolls over on the mat and goes to lift Cassidy up with a reverse chin lock. She delivers a stiff knee to the side of her chest before going for a second. Cassidy catches the knee before yelling before driving Autumn forward into the corner. The crowd boos as Cassidy rams her shoulder repeatedly into Autumn's side. She raises up and delivers a stiff heymaker to the side of the head before going to stand up on the second turnbuckle over Autumn. She begins to pummel her with right hooks to the side of the chin right over the temple. She stops at seven as Autumn leans back appearing slightly disoriented. Cassidy begins pointing down at Autumn, taunting her.

 

Cassidy: "This is my bitch!"

 

The crowd harshly responds in the boos directed at her.

 

Knots: "Wow."

 

Sharper: "I apologize now to everyone at home for the language."

 

Cassidy turns before smirking, jumping up and preparing to hurricanrana Autumn out of the corner. Autumn clings onto the top rope and Cassidy finds herself dangling upside down over Autumn's body. Autumn releases the top rope and wraps her arms around Cassidy's legs that are dangling around her neck, before grunting. She manages to lift Cassidy halfway up before dropping her head first with a powerbomb toward the center of the ring. The crowd oh's and cheers as she grabs a hold of Cassidy's head, pulling her up by the hair to a standing position. She delivers several knife-edged chops across the chest, getting woo's from the audience. She delivers a stiff boot down across Cassidy's knee, taking her down to one in the center of the ring before running across and bouncing herself off the ropes. She comes back and connects with a shining wizard. The referee drops down as she makes the cover.

Cassidy quickly kicks out at two. Autumn reaches down and pulls her up. She connects with several stiff kicks to Cassidy's chest before grabbing her arm and twirling it around. She pushes Cassidy around before going from the arm wrench to a short arm clothesline. Cassidy ducks it before spinning behind Autumn, pulling her arm free. She quickly grabs Autumn by the hair and uses it to pull her forward before quickly slamming her to the mat hard with a slam, Autumn landing on the back of her head. Cassidy runs across the ring and bounces off the rope just as Autumn sits up. Cassidy drops a knee hard across her face, causing Autumn to flip over from the impact. The crowd ohs as Cassidy proceeds to jump up and drive her boot directly down across Autumn's throat. The crowd boos as the referee tries telling Cassidy to let off from where she begins to choke Autumn where she lays on the mat, Cassidy pulling hard on the top rope. The referee starts to count. Cassidy releases before five, dropping down to grab Autumn and roll her over on the mat directly into the center of the ring. She proceeds to lock her into the Fabulock. The crowd continues booing as Autumn tries to break the lock. She manages to pull herself slightly forward before Cassidy releases the hold to pull Autumn back into the center of the ring, locking on The Faithbreaker. Autumn tries to pull herself to no avail before tapping. The crowd boos mercilessly as "Na na na" begins to play once more.

 

Sharper: "Cassidy Carter victorious here tonight, however not without some very underhanded tactics and the fans are letting her know just what they think!"

 

Knots: "That will show her, the moment she starts giving a damn."

 

Cassidy releases Autumn and rolls over before standing. She celebrate a bit as Ryan Watson enters the ring to check on Autumn. Cassidy starts to leave the ring, smirking. She makes her way up the rampway and towards the back where Hana Ito walks over and meets with her.

 

Hana: “Cassidy…can I get a word? Can we get an update on Ace-“

 

Cassidy grabs the microphone.

 

Cassidy: “Ace…he’s at home. He’ll be fine. He’s just got his nice maid’s outfit on and he’s making sure the house is perfect and my shoes are all lined up. The Wonderland dumbass only knocked him around and I hoep he’s happy. It’s all over. But how about you ask about me…”

 

Cassidy pauses.

 

Cassidy: “I hope Autumn got the hint…maybe she found out how I truly feel about Dark Fantasy…and well, let’s just hope for Katelyn, we don’t meet face to face. Ace won’t tell me to be nice and well, I don’t have to hold back that he’s gotten an improvement than just settling for what was left of Katelyn. But that’s fine…hope that Best of Five Series is going well.”

 

Cassidy laughs as she starts to walk off. Hana just looks at her a bit stunned.

 

Sharper: “That was blunt.”

 

Knots: “Looks like Cassidy figured with Ace not here, she can let her hair down.”

 

Sharper: “Cassidy making it clear she doesn’t Katelyn. Not shock there. But Dark Fantasy too…interesting.”

 

Cassidy heads to the back.

Backstage we see Adams standing backstage, seemingly waiting for something before we see Andrew Raynes walking over to him. He pats him on the back as the crowd boos.

 

Raynes: “The idiot’s up next.”

 

Adams: “Oh good…and triple threat rules.”

 

Raynes: “He may get nostalgic for his pre-SCW days.”

 

Raynes and Adams head off.

 

Sharper: “Looks like Andrew Raynes and Adams have plans for Nostalgia! He makes his in-ring debut, along with two others, Chuck Thurman and Cassius James, next!”

 

The scene fades to black.

We return to Breakdown as we see El Angel del Cielo II, El Angel del Cielo III and El Angel del Cielo IV getting settled in their locker room. We see one putting down their bags as another starts to go through their bags.

 

Sharper: “There you see El Angel del Cielo…all three of them…the three CHBK and Ravyn Taylor arranged to be here. They’re going to be in action later tonight in some sort of opportunity.”

 

Knots: “To be in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal! They were just told to go to the locker room and get ready!”

 

Sharper: “They are. We’ll see what David Helms, our commissioner, has in store for them.”

 

We cut to the ring.

Chuck Thurman vs. Nostalgia vs. Cassius James

 

“This Is America” by Childish Gambino begins to play throughout the arena as Cassius James steps out behind the curtain with a black sleeveless hoodie on with solid black trunks and boots. He has a black gloves on his left hand.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is Cassius James!”

 

Cassius James stops at the top of the ramp looks at the crowd before making his way down to ramp ring completely focused on the ring. He slides into the ring as he stands in the center of the ring before raising his left arm and making a fist with his hand as he points to himself before dropping his arm and moving to his corner of the ring.

 

Sharper: “Three in-ring debuts about to take place. All going to be looking to make a statement and start their competition careers in SCW right. Cassius James out first.”

 

Knots: “He’s going to an interesting one to watch. You look at the imagery.”

 

Sharper: “Very proud of himself and talking to him earlier, he wants to be the second black World Champion in SCW history and thinks that it’s about time that happens.”

 

"Metal Health" by Quiet Riot begins playing and the crowd goes nuts. Chuck Thurman steps out from the back in his traditional jeans, boots, and white t-shirt. He has a frosty mug of Miller Lite in his hand and raises it to the crowd. He stops for a moment, toasting the crowd.

 

Phillips: “Next, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he is Chuck Thurman!”

 

The moment the music screams "YEAAAAAAH!" he chugs down the frosty beverage and lets out a roar to the cheering crowd. He starts to walk down the aisle, stopping halfway to hand his empty mug to a lucky fan. He then sprints the rest of the way to the ring and slides under the bottom rope. He gets up to his feet and raises both arms to the raucous crowd. With a smile, he tears off his white t-shirt and tosses it into the front row. As he plays to the crowd, his music fades out.

 

Knots: “Did we just find someone from a frat down the street?”

 

Sharper: “Chuck Thurman has been training hard for this and apparently that involves some cold beer.”

 

Knots: “Against these two?!”

 

The beat to “Redbone” by Childish Gambino begins playing throughout the arena as a the lights go out and a red spotlight circles the arena. The red spotlight gets to the ramp entrance to find Nostalgia through the curtain.

“MADE ME PUT AWAY MY PRIIIDDEEE!”

Nostalgia stands motionless for a few seconds with his chin tucked to his chest until he hears…

“STAY WOKE!"

Phillips: “And finally, from Pine Barrens, New Jersey, the Prophet of Pain, he is Nostalgia!”

On hearing his name, Nostalgia takes a bow. As he gets to a standing position, pyrotechnics explode encircling him.

“STAY WOKE!"

He walks through the pyrotechnics with his right fist in the air. As he makes his way down the ramp, he slaps the hands of as many fans as he possibly can. He switches between high -fiving fans at each barricades every few feet.

“NOW STAY WOKE”

Nostalgia jumps on the apron, the over the ropes and into the ring. Nostalgia circles the ring with his arms spread wide, palms up, signaling for the fans to make some noise . Nostalgia stands in the center of the ring, and raises his Right Fist High in the air, holds it for a few seconds.

“DON”T YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES!”.

Upon hearing these words, Nostalgia retreats to his corner, stretching, waiting for the bell to ring.

 

Sharper: “We should be familiar with Nostalgia. Getting targeted by Raynes and Adams. And they seem to already be interested in what he’s doing tonight.”

 

Knots: “He got involved last week. Didn’t affect the result but did hold Adams back. Triple threat rules. I hope he’s looking over his shoulder.”

 

The bell sounds. Nostalgia looks across as Cassius and Chuck. Cassius then turns and lunges at Chuck and nails him with a hard right, knocking him down. He then turns and lunges at Nostalgia and nails him in the ribs with a hard right and then another before nailing him with a kick to the ribs. He goes to whip him across, but Nostalgia pulls him back and into the ropes. Cassius bounces off and Nostalgia elbows him down. He then turns as he gets up and grabs him and hits a knee in the ribs. He then whips him across the ring. He bounces off and Thurman nails him in the side with a running clothesline. He then pumps his fist and lets out a yell as the crowd cheers. Thurman then turns to Nostalgia who drops him with a European uppercut.

 

Sharper: “Thurman a bit excitable, but Nostalgia doesn’t care, just dropping him with an uppercut.”

 

Knots: “And Nostalgia showing that experience counts for something.”

 

Nostalgia grabs Thurman and pulls him and nails him in the ribs with a shot and then another before whipping him across the ring. Thurman runs into Cassius who quickly backdrops him over the top rope and he drops to the mat. Nostalgia turns and lunges at Cassius and goes for a clothesline. Cassius ducks and spins around. He nails Nostalgia with a hard right and then another. Nostalgia goes for a swinging shot, but Cassius ducks and kicks him in the ribs. He then takes him over with a snap suplex. He turns and goes for the pin.

Nostalgia kicks out. Just as he does, Thurman dives in and nails Cassius from behind. Cassius rolls over and stirs as Thurman then nails him with a hard right and then a left before kicking him in the ribs. He then pulls him in and hoists him up, throwing him back with a Samoan drop. He turns and goes for the pin.

Nostalgia breaks it up.

 

Sharper: “Nostalgia breaking things up and Thurman caught Cassius.”

 

Knots: “He’s looking good so far. All of them are. It’s just it’s a triple threat, so it’s a bit hard to get going here.”

 

Nostalgia gets up and grabs Thurman and pulls him up and nails him hard in the back with a shot. He then turns and whips him into the corner. Nostalgia runs after and nails him with a running splash. He then backs up and turns around and James suddenly grabs him and hits a side belly to belly suplex. He goes for the pin.

Nostalgia kicks out. Both men get up and turn to each other and Cassius nails Nostalgia with a shot and then Nostalgia fires back. They trade some shots before Thurman runs out of the corner and clotheslines both down. He then looks around. Nostalgia stirs and Thurman grabs him and turns and throws him out of the ring.

 

Sharper: “Thurman looking to try and build some momentum and maybe defeat Cassius James.”

 

Knots: “Gotta pick one and Nostalgia is a bit more of a known quality at this point.”

 

Thurman turns and nails James with a shot. He nails him again and goes to whip him across the ring, but James spins through and sends Thurman into the ropes. He then turns and runs at him and drills him with a clothesline, and both go up and over the top rope to the floor. Nostalgia stirs as we see Adams and Raynes running out from the back. The crowd starts to boo. Then run down and around as the referee sees them and steps out to try and stop them, but Raynes and Adams run over to Nostalgia and Adams kicks him in the ribs. Raynes and Adams then start to club his back over and over again. Nostalgia covers up as they hammer away on him. Raynes then backs up as the crowd boos and Adams grabs him and turns and runs him into the ringpost. Nostalgia goes into it and spins off, holding his face in pain.

 

Sharper: “Andrew Raynes, Dustin Adams, coming down and perpetrating a mugging!”

 

Knots: “Nostalgia had no chance. Just like when Nostalgia came down and speared Adams!”

 

Thurman however sees this as Cassius rolls away. Raynes walks over and grabs Nostalgia and rolls him into the ring and he turns back as Thurman runs around and nails Adams with a clothesline. He then turns and stomps him before Raynes turns and grabs Thurman and spins him around and into the ringpost too. He falls over as Cassius just enters into the ring. Nostalgis stirs, half out of it, and Cassius immediately goes over to him and grabs him before hoisting him up and snapping him down with the Double Standard. The crowd ohs and Cassius rolls over into a pin. Andrew Raynes and Dustin Adams start to walk around the ring as Adams takes a cheap shot to the head of Thurman. They walk off.

The crowd boos a bit as Cassius James rolls off. He then gets up and has his arm raised. He then looks around as his music plays.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Cassius James.”

 

Sharper: “James taking advantage of the chaos, all legal under triple threat rules and getting the win.”

 

Knots: “And on Nostalgia. All thanks to Andrew Raynes and Dustin Adams!”

 

Sharper: “I don’t know if he wanted to win it this way-“

 

Knots: “Happily took it. A win is a win, Sharper!”

 

Sharper: “That’s true. And Cassius James just got one.”

 

Thurman stirs on the floor as he looks at Adams and Raynes. Cassius James continues to look around as “This is America” continues to play and we cut away.

We open up backstage to see Sienna Swann and Laura Steinbeck in a hallway.

 

Sienna: “What do you mean he’s not going to do anything?”

 

Laura: “He says he’s not going to going to give you number 39?”

 

Sienna: “Fine…hold up the ending.”

 

Laura: “He sounds like he’s going to honour it.”

 

Sienna: “Are you kidding me? I mean me or Syren? I know who I’d pick to side with. Plus everyone would agree. This is all Xander’s fault.”

 

Laura: “I don’t know what to say…wait…you aren’t going to plan to go after Xander.”

 

Sienna: “What? Do you think I’m insane? Have you been drinking?”

 

Laura: “Thank God…we can’t risk that.”

 

Sienna: “Exactly why I should be number 39!”

 

Sienna huffs a bit and looks around.

 

Sienna: “This can’t stand.”

 

Laura: “I can try again-“

 

Sienna: “No…I’ll talk to him. I’ll figure it out. Just need to figure out the exact best time.”

 

Sienna nods and the scene slowly fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

We open up backstage as we see Max Kane getting thrown into the wall and laughing.

 

Kane: “What? Gotta problem that I owned you two.”

 

Damian Angel then comes up as Kali and Malphas holds him back. We see Behemoth knocking Jack Parker down in the background.

 

Damian: “No…more I just wanted to see if you still agree with your assessment on social media that they hit like pillows….Behemoth?”

 

Kane: “Hey man, just cause-“

 

Behemoth comes in and just nails Kane right in the jaw. Kane goes limp from the shot as Malphas and Kali let go and he drops to the floor. Behemoth admires his handiwork.

 

Damian: “Too many people who run their mouth around here. I hope he got the message. We’ll be back for those titles soon enough.”

 

Damian then motions and the four walk off. Jack Parker starts to get up and heads over to Max as we then cut away.

 

Sharper: “Kane and Parker seemingly walking backstage and Har Megiddo with an ambush.”

 

Knots: “Kane’s mouth getting him in trouble. We were supposed to see him out later to talk about their defense at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

 

Sharper: “I doubt he’ll be going anywhere for a bit. He’s out.”

 

Knots: “At least they made it quick and only painful for a split second!”

Justin Davis vs. AJ Helms

 

Phillips: “The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...”

The arena goes dark and a mist of smoke begins to gather at the top of the ramp as the opening rift of 'Sail" begins to play throughout the arena. The lights starts to flickers as a spotlight shines on top of the ramp. Justin Davis stands at the top of the ramp with his head lowered and a hood covering his head. Davis lifts his head as he takes his hood off and the words "JUSTIN DAVIS" shows on the tron. The crowd begins to fill the arena with roaring cheers. You can see a smile on Davis' face while nodding his head as he begins to make his way down the ramp.

Phillips: “Making his way to the ring from Boston, Massachusetts, Justin Davis"

Davis lifts his arms up in the air as he makes his way up the steel steps and into the ring. Once in the ring Davis circles the ring and then chooses a random turnbuckle to climb and pose for the fans by lifting his right arm and pointing up to the ceiling then to the crowd. He then drops down and sits in the corner.

Sharper: “Justin Davis here looking to strike a name off of this list, this list of people he says he came back here to face.”

Knots: “AJ Helms on that list and AJ doesn't seem to know why. Do you?”

Sharper: “Nope.”

The lights in the arena cut completely and silence fills the room for a moment before “Rise Up” by Asking Alexandria blasts over the speaker system and the crash of the first drumbeat triggers a single spotlight on the stage. In the spotlight, we see AJ Helms standing with his back to the fans, the hood of his sleeveless jacket up over his head. In one fluid motion he spins around and stoops for a minute before throwing the hood back and his arms up in the Self High Five. He holds the pose for a second before jumping and breaking the hands apart, single pyros erupting with a ‘Bang’ on either side of the stage, which trigger the house lights to raise again as AJ smirks and starts to make his way to the ring.

Phillips: “From Asbury Park, New Jersey, now fighting out of Hollywood California... AJ Helms!”

Reaching the bottom of the ramp, AJ gives a burst of speed and runs to the ring, jumping up and sliding in leg first before popping back up and running to the corner where he scales the turnbuckles and throws his arms into another Self High Five. He pushes back as he breaks the hands apart and turns to land facing the middle of the ring again. Walking over to the ropes, he leans into the camera at ringside and mouths the word “BANG” into it before removing his jacket and handing it off to the outside.

Sharper: “AJ has had a bit of a chip on his shoulder lately. Some say that's due to his uncle's influence, others think maybe his mother. Adoptive of course.”

Knots: “I'm not sure Jason Helms has had much time to influence anything but-”

Sharper: “Don't finish that sentence Jon.”

The bell rings and the two meet in a collar and elbow lock up. Davis starts trying to work AJ into a corner, but AJ manages to slip out of the hold and slides behind Davis to get some distance. Davis spins and AJ nails him with an uppercut. Davis holds his jaw a second, then fires off a wide right. AJ ducks, runs the ropes, and when Davis turns to face him, AJ knocks him down with a flying clothesline. AJ then runs the ropes again for momentum and looks to drop an elbow... but Davis rolls out of the way. AJ hits the mat. Davis gets up and pulls AJ up to his feet. He whips AJ into the ropes, and on the return lifts AJ up overhead. He then takes a few steps turning around before dropping AJ with a Samoan drop. He makes a cover.

AJ kicks out. Davis gets up and AJ rolls over and to his feet. The men face off starting each other down. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “AJ Helms doing what he could to use his quickness to overcome the weight advantage Justin Davis has over him, but Davis made the first pin attempt anyway.”

Knots: “AJ has his work cut out for him here, for sure. “

As if AJ heard Knots' words, he bounces off the ropes and comes at Davis hard with a flying forearm. Davis goes down, but gets right back up. AJ uses the second or two Davis was down to run to the corner and scramble up, then turns and leaps just as Davis gets to his feet, dropping him again with a missle dropkick. AJ makes a cover.

Davis kicks out. AJ hops to his feet, and Davis starts to get up, a little slower. AJ waits, and as soon as Davis is nearly vertical, AJ grabs his head, looking for a DDT. Davis though shoves him off. AJ stumbles backwards, and Davis steps forward, grabs AJ and lifts him up before planting him with a powerbomb. Davis makes another cover.

AJ kicks out. Davis gets up, and AJ stirs. Davis grabs his legs and flips him over, setting up the Boston crab.

Sharper: “ Wow, look how high Davis has that crab position locked in! AJ has nowhere to go, they're in the middle of the ring.”

Knots: “Gotta credit the kid for trying though, look at him reach! It's almost like he's trying to reach us Adam!”

AJ is indeed stretching for the nearest bottom rope. He's facing the announce table, and Davis is facing the stage. Just then, we see Regan Street, Mikaela Street, and Josh Hudson walk out from the back, no music. The crowd boos heavily, and Davis lets go of AJ. AJ rolls over and sits up, looking for why Davis let him go. Davis crosses the ring staring at the trio as they walk down the ramp.

Sharper: “The Street sisters and Josh Hudson coming out here now and Justin Davis doesn't like it.”

Knots: “They're just observing! Regan won't fight her son, but she damn sure has his back.”

Sharper: “I'm more concerned about Hudson if I'm honest. He and Davis have been at each other's throats over social media in recent weeks and, well... this could get ugly a lot sooner than Davis planned. Hudson is last on his list.”

Knots: “I don't think Hudson has a list, I think Davis is the only name on it.”

Davis and Hudson continue to stare holes into each other. AJ is on his feet and he goes up behind Davis, grabs his shoulder, and spins him around. The nearby camera picks up what he says.

AJ: “Hey, the fight is right here!”

Davis glares and swings for a hard right, but AJ blocks it and lands an uppercut. Regan and Mikaela clap. AJ lands another one, and Davis backs into the corner. AJ springboards off the middle rope and nails him with a flying spinning heel kick. Davis slumps down in the corner. The three observers clap. AJ backs up a few steps then runs, nailing a basement dropkick. He grabs Davis' legs and drags him away from the ropes, then makes a cover.

Davis kicks out. AJ gets up quick and looks over at Regan. She nods at him and points. AJ looks down at Davis who stirs. AJ climbs the corner to the second rope, turns, and jumps with a moonsault. Davis sees him though and rolls out of the way at the last second. AJ lands hard on his stomach. Regan sighs, and Hudson shakes his head.

Sharper: “AJ going high risk and he paid for it.”

Knots: “Is it enough of an opening for Justin though? Especially with all those eyes on him.”

Davis gets up and goes over to AJ and pulls him up. He whips AJ into the ropes. AJ ducks a clothesline as he runs back. Davis spins around, AJ bounces off the other side and drills Davis with the Wake Up Call. Regan claps again and Hudson cracks a grin. Both AJ and Davis are down, starting to slowly get up, both feeling the effects of recent high impact moves. AJ is up first, Davis a second later. AJ turns to face Davis, and Davis runs, looking to drill AJ with a knee strike. AJ gets his hands up though, blocking the strike, and he shoves Davis back. Davis barely keeps his balance, an AJ grabs him by the head and plants him with the NJNB!

Knots: “Goodnight, Justin!”

Sharper: “Helms with the cover.”

The bell rings and AJ rolls off. Regan and Mikaela clap, but Hudson hops up on the apron. AJ backs away.

Sharper: “Uh oh. Come on Josh, this isn't necessary!”

Hudson looks down at Davis, who starts to stir. He then steps through the ropes. AJ slides out of the ring on the other side and walks around to meet Regan and Mikaela. Davis sits up, and sees Hudson standing over him, glaring. Davis slides back a little, then gets to his feet.

Knots: “What'd you say about this getting ugly?”

Sharper: “Looks mighty tense in that ring right now.”

Hudson steps closer to Davis, and then just piefaces him backwards. The crowd boos. Davis keeps his feet though, and glares back at Hudson. Hudson just shakes his head again and steps back through the ropes, dropping down to join Regan, Mikaela, and AJ. The small group talk a bit, and Davis looks on as they leave, AJ walking with them, as Regan drops her arm around AJ's shoulders.

Sharper: “Two thirds of Past, Present, Future out here, along with Mikaela Street provided enough of a distraction for AJ Helms to find an opening. Justin had a moment to turn it around, looking for that knee strike but AJ was just too quick. And now you see him leaving with his adoptive mother, who Josh Hudson is a mentor to.”

Knots: “You know, you might have been on to something earlier, maybe AJ's recent hotheadedness is coming from her!”

Sharper: “It's coming from somewhere, Jon, AJ doesn't seem in the least bit upset that the three of them were out there or that Hudson got into Justin's face.”

Davis watches the Streets, Hudson, and Helms leave as we cut away.

The scene opens up backstage as we see Selena Frost watching on a monitor.

 

Selena: “Oh…AJ…”

 

Just then, the monitor abrupt goes out. Selena looks at it confused.

 

???: “Ha ha! My time is now!”

 

We then see someone leap out from behind the monitor, dressed in a gopher suit. Selena just looks at him confused.

 

Selena: “Did? Did you unplug the cord-“

 

???: “I chewed through the cables-“

 

Selena: “You’d be dead…wait…Why am I even talking to you? Why are you in a gopher suit? And why you are you here?”

 

The man in the gopher suit looks back.

 

???: “My name is Garrett and I am coming to destroy you. En garde!”

 

Garrett lunges at Selena and Selena just sidesteps in and he falls into the wall behind him.

 

Selena: “Please don’t tell me this is David’s solution. This and Josh? I’m not going to just disappear from PPF…not happening.”

 

Selena turns and walks off as Garrett turns, replacing his head on.

 

Garrett: “I will take you out! I Will!”

 

Selena just walks off. Garrett proudly looks on.

 

Garrett: “I think she got the message. She’ll be quaking in her boots!”

 

Garrett rubs his hands together. We then cut to ringside.

 

Sharper: “What the hell?”

 

Knots: “Hey…I just like anyone coming in to go after Selena Frost. And don’t judge a book by its cover!”

 

Sharper: “I’m sure. But we’ve had another interesting turn of events. AJ Helms leaving with Regan Street, Mikaela Street and Josh Hudson. And taking their help through distraction to beat Justin Davis.”

 

Knots: “Looks like maybe he’s been brought into the Future part of PPF! Sienna is practically the present!”

 

Sharper: “And Selena watching that too. She has to be aware as she’ll be facing Josh Hudson later tonight. I don’t know…”

We then cut away before we see James Evans and Katelyn Buehler talking backstage. Katelyn is on one of the storage crates.

 

Katelyn: “It’s just Cassidy. More of the same.”

 

James: “I’d ignore her. Probably just looking for attention and right now, you’re getting it with the Best of Five series. You heard the crowd.”

 

Katelyn: “Yeah and I not only lost the last one, but tweaked my back. We were supposed to have match four next week and they’re pushing it back.”

 

James: “Take a breath. Take the rest. Recuperate. And you’ll come it. Now it just can be the start to your Rise to Greatness season.”

 

Katelyn: “Well you should get that shot too. I mean they’re giving you this chance. And I already signed off on letting you get back. You’re good with your daughter. Different from how you were-“

 

James stops Katelyn.

 

James: “Just going to ride the wave. If I’m booked, great. If I’m doing security…after everything I did before…I crossed a lot of lines and if they need to make sure I’m of sound mind and all there.”

 

Katelyn: “You’re with security to make sure that you don’t do anything-“

 

James: “And I’ll be there until there’s a need. I’m making a living. I’m paying my bills and I can help you and my daughter out…that’s a win for me.”

 

Katelyn: “Thanks James…I didn’t think I’d say that a few years ago.”

 

James: “I didn’t deserve anything but an ass-kicking from you a few years ago.”

 

James looks at his watch.

 

James: “I better get back.”

 

Katelyn: “Keep doing a good job.”

 

James: “And you rest and get better and at some point, you can take Marie and Cassidy and anyone else in your way.”

 

Katelyn smiles weakly as James walks off and we slowly fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns and we open up to see Regan Street smiling as she walks with AJ, wrapping her arm around him. AJ smiles a bit, but also a bit uncertain. Hudson and Mikaela walk with them. We then see David Helms watching as they walk over to them.

 

Regan: “Isn’t this a great scene?”

 

David: “It is. Always good to see you guys working together. Just…not how I figured.”

 

Regan: “Want me to help with family unity some more? I mean I can knock some sense into Jason later? You still pulling Blake?”

 

David: “I have someone else in mind…you’ve been busy-“

 

Regan: “I’m just righting some wrongs.”

 

David: “You agree AJ?”

 

AJ: “Why wouldn’t I want to work with my mother?”

 

David: “True…well, don’t get into too much trouble.”

 

Regan: “Not going to plan anything. Just going to watch Bree, watch Josh…and remember our agreement about Selena.”

 

David: “Yeah. Don’t worry. Just you remember our agreement.”

 

Regan: “Yeah yeah…I’ll be a good little girl.”

 

David: “Why do I struggle to believe that?”

 

Regan: “You see me at home.”

 

AJ: “Uh...I’m right here.”

 

Regan smirks as they walk off as David watches them leave.

Sophie O’Brian vs. Lailoken Da Vinci

 

With the SCW Cameras returning from the commercial break, the remnants of AC/DC’s Thunderstruck continues to play throughout the arena. SCW switches to another camera to show Lailoken Da Vinci testing the ropes.

Sharper: “Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, as you can see during the commercial break Lailoken Da Vinci is out here with us and he shall be facing a huge challenge next.

Knots: “That’s right, he’s going up against Sophie O’Brian who has seen some success so far this month.”

Sharper: “She has and looking to add another win as we grow closer to Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Suddenly “Hands of the Wicked” begins to play. The lights in the arena fade. A single spotlight shines upon the stage as the tron comes to life and shows images of bloody warfare from all throughout history. The words “Total War” appear on the tron as green pyro begins to go off. Sophie O’Brian then steps out onto the stage side by side with her brother Mark.

Sharper: “There she is and she looks ready for business tonight.”

Knots: “Will be interesting to see how these two tangle it up in the ring.”

Sophie’s arms slowly rise up so that they are extended outwards from her sides in a crucifix like pose. She soaks up the response from the crowd. Finally, Sophie and Mark begin to make their way towards the ring. Sophie is to the ring area and then climbs up onto the ring apron. She looks at Lailoken with a smirk and then steps into the ring. Mark stands on the outside and dukes his hands at Lailokens associate Gregor the Great who quickly waddles off to another side of the ring... Sophie holds her arms outstretched in another crucifix like pose, she then steps up and walks to her corner and waits for the bell.

Knots: “Now that’s a match I’d love to see the horizontally challenged Gregor the Great vs Mark O’Brian!”

Sharper: “You would wouldn’t you.”

The bell sounds off and both Lailoken and Sophie step out of their respective corners, the Showman however is quick to extend his arm and offers a handshake to the Irish Woman.

Lailoken: “GREETINGS! MY NAME IS LAILOKEN DA VINCI!”

Some of the crowd join in with his introduction, he smiles and nods his head as does Sophie who looks to shake his hand but drives a forearm into the face of his instead to boos from the crowd. O’Brian connects with a strike sending him stumbling into the ropes. She then hit’s a stiff knife edge chop to the chest of Da Vinci, the fans “Woo” in unison. Another chop follows that and then an Irish whip across the ring. Da Vinci however spins through and sends O’Brian instead. She hits the ropes and makes a return only to get sent to the canvas with a shoulder block as the two meets in the middle of the ring! Lailoken raises his arms surprised but excitedly while Sophie looks up at him.

Sharper: “Sophie looking to out muscle Lailoken there but didn’t get to do that at all.”

Da Vinci runs to opposite ropes and Sophie rolls over to her stomach with Lailoken stepping over, immediately Mark O’Brian grabs at the leg of Da Vinci to no avail but it’s enough to cause the Showman to stop and look at him. Sophie quickly on her feet now runs at him and drives a knee into his back sending Lailoken through the ropes to the feet of her brother. Sophie tries to climb through the ropes, but the referee stops her and tries to force her back and due to the distraction that’s enough for Mark to grab Lailoken by his hair and run him head first into the steel steps behind the referees back with boos crying out from the fans.

Sharper: “Oh come on!”

Knots: “What?! Mark tried to help him up and he tripped into the steps, accidents happen.”

Sharper: “That was no accident!”

Lailoken holds his head wincing while Mark backs up with his hands in the air after the official turns around to see what is going on. Gregor watches on concerned for his boss with Sophie now exiting the ring and picking up the scraps. She rolls LAiloken into the ring and follows suit with a quick cover.

2… KICK OUT BY DA VINCI!!

The fans cheer now firmly behind the Showman. Sophie looks down a little annoyed, she pulls him to his feet and hits a European uppercut. She goes for another but Lailoken jukes back and goes behind her with a rear waist lock before lifting her up and over with a release German suplex! The fans pop for that and while she holds the back of her head. Lailoken springs up only to hang there a second before dropping an elbow across her chest and covering.

1… KICK OUT BY SOPHIE!

O’Brian powered out of the cover and gets back to her feet but holds her chest. Lailoken is back up and walks over to the Irish woman but he gets an elbow to the gut. She hits another, and this time hits another European Upper cut before spinning on her heel and driving a boot into his gut doubling him over and only then she follows up with a snap DDT into the canvas and Lailoken following through fully taking the impact to groans from the crowd.

Sharper: “Ouch! He took all of that and then some.”

Knots: “It’s okay, it’s okay. From conversations backstage with him, he won’t lose much because there is nothing in that head of his, only air!”

A confident Sophie smirks as she once again covers him…

2… NO KICK OUT BY LAILOKEN!!

Outside Mark holds his head and yells at the official, on the other side of the ring on the step Gregor leaps in the air and almost falls off them. Inside the ring Sophie back on her feet stomps the back of LAiloken before pulling him up Irish whipping him into the corner, he reverse it however and sends Sophie instead. She winces in pain and stagers out into a scoop slam into the canvas. Lailoken points to the top turnbuckle and quickly scales while Mark O’Brian yells at his sister to get up. Once he reaches the top he steady’s himself and leaps back for a moonsault but unknown to him was Sophie back on her feet and before he can hit the canvas, Sophie leaps up and hit’s the Codebreaker she calls the death of wisdom!

Sharper: “DEATH OF WISDOM OUT OF NO WHERE.”

Knots: “Welp he’s dead.”

After the move Lailoken in almost comedic effect flies back and lands on his back. Sophie rolls to her knees and crawls across and covers him hooking both legs tightly whle Gregor holds his head in fear.

The bell sounds as boo’s reign out from the crowd, but they do not faze Sophie O’ Brian as she rolls off Lailoken Da Vinci. Hands of the Wicked begins to play over the P.A System as Jason Phillips addresses the crowd.

Phillips: “Ladies and Gentleman, the winner of this match as a result of a pin fall… Sophie O‘ BRIAN!!”

Mark O’ Brian rolls into the ring and is quick to help his sister to her feet, he then turns and starts to kick Lailoken out of the ring to ringside much to the chagrin of the SCW fans and Gregor. Sophie continues to celebrate in the ring with her brother as the crowd boos.

We open up backstage to see Jessica Winters standing at the SCW interview set to see Amy Chastaine and Jason Helms with her.

 

Jessica: “Jessica Winters here and I’m with Amy Chastaine and Jason Helms and tonight, you two will team up for the first time, and you two both had some fun at Bree’s expense, but it’s a rather personal situation.”

 

Jason: “Well we tried to leave BREE-tney alone…thanks Knots for that one, but let’s face it, it’s too fun to piss on her parade just like Amy did two weeks ago when she thought she was going to smear her reputation as some sort of fun night.”

 

Jessica: “Well tonight, you have an opportunity to get your hands on her and we’re still confirming who Bree will team with tonight. But you have gotten some heat from one Alistaire Allocco.”

 

Jason: “Don’t get me started about him. I’ve already kicked his ass enough and by the way, got an interim US Title match. Don’t forget about that, all thanks to me kicking his ass. Whether it’s him or someone else, we’ll be ready.”

 

Jessica: “Amy?”

 

Amy smirks.

 

Amy: “I’m going to get to team with this man, someone who actually cares about me. Someone who actually does want to see the best for me. Something Bree would know nothing about. She needed to knock me down a peg and thought she had some aha moment. There was nothing. Just an agreement between consenting adults. But that’s fine. It’s how Bree just wants to get ahead. Try to promote the scandal. Try to knock people who actually stand for something. And tonight, I will stand in front of her and give her an opportunity to do something she probably would like to do…actually knock me down a peg. Whoever her partner is, she can stand right up and face me tonight. We can take care of it in the ring. She can take out all of hatred for me and what I stand for apparently…all my immorality and Bree…I can show you that I don’t take kindly to someone bringing my personal life into my professional just because of their own pettiness. Between you and Blake, you take the cake…tonight, I just hope I make at least you Bree…since Blake managed to slink his way out of it…I hope I make you realize you made a huge mistake and the feeling you feel tonight…it’s going to make the disappointment and headache you had from last week…seem like a minor inconvenience.”

 

Amy turns to Jason.

 

Amy: “I’m ready to enjoy tonight.”

 

Jason: “I am too.”

 

Jessica: “Good luck and when we know more about Bree’s partner, we’ll be sure to pass it along. Breakdown returns after this.”

 

Amy and Jason then nod and shake Jessica’s hand before they head off and we cut to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Hana Ito backstage with Xander Valentine.

 

Hana: “Welcome back to Breakdown and I’m here with Xander Valentine and Xander…you came out last week, disrupting the battle royal and –“

 

Xander grabs the microphone and looks at Hana.

 

Xander: “I didn’t disrupt anything. I delivered a message. Anyone involved in that has a target…no matter how big their ego is. No matter what they think. I will destroy them. Just like I did Jake…and I will Alexis….and anyone else. And for Sienna…if she wants…I’ll give her some revenge. I wouldn’t mind destroying the IronAngel and showing her that her ego means nothing to what I can do.”

 

The crowd roars as Xander starts to walk off and Hana stop him.

 

Hana: “But-“

 

Xander turns and glares at her.

 

Hana: “Alexis…she attacked you last week-“

 

Xander: “And if she wants me tonight in her home state…I’ll find her.”

 

Xander turns and walks off as we then cut away.

We then open to see Blake Mason and David Helms talking backstage outside of his office.

 

Blake: “You know I’ve agreed to face Thirteen. I’m willing to do anything. I get the card subject to change.”

 

David: “And I’ll be making that match some point, but I have something else. Something I think may be better. You want to prove you just want competition. Here’s your chance.”

 

Blake: “Alright…what?”

 

David: “Then El Angels….You face them all. Fatal Four way. You win, they get nothing. One them win, they get a spot in the battle royal.”

 

Blake: “You want me to get involved in that?”

 

David: “I’m giving opportunity. Same to you.”

 

Blake: “Fine-“

 

Sienna Swann then storms over to David and Blake.

 

Sienna: “David! What is this I’m hearing from Laura? You’re honouring the match.”

 

Blake: “Thanks David.”

 

Blake turns and walks off as David looks at him. Sienna does too.

 

Sienna: “Thanks? For what?”

 

Blake stops and turns.

 

Blake: “He’s letting me prove myself.”

 

Sienna: “Please. You’ve already done that. Even just by having the intelligence to marry Bree!”

 

David: “About Bree though…I think that’s where you can help me out…or more particularly, help her out.”

 

Blake nods.

 

Blake: “That would be a good choice.”

 

Sienna: “Wait…”

 

David: “I’m standing by my decision. But Sienna, you want blow off some steam…you can help your friend and no doubt it would be a huge match.”

 

Sienna scoffs a bit. We then cut away.

“Mz. Hyde” by Halestorm echoes from the loud speaker. The crowd cheers as Dawn Lohan steps out from the back, holding the SCW World Tag Team Championship over her shoulder. She looks around and gives a bit of a smile as she starts to make her way to the ring.

 

Sharper: “Dawn Lohan on her way out. This is her hometown, but things not happening as she may have liked.”

 

Knots: “No…Max Kane not having the night he wanted. He just found out what running his mouth get him!”

 

Sharper: “Har Megiddo sending a message. Dawn Lohan now on her way out. They were scheduled to come out here. All of the Network. But Dawn Lohan on her way by herself!”

 

She slowly makes her down to the ring. She makes her way to the ring steps. When she reaches the top of the steps, she walks along the apron. Grabbing the top rope she pulls back, using the momentum she propels herself forward over the top rope into the ring. She immediately springs up. She walks to the turnbuckle, stands on the middle turnbuckle soaking in the atmosphere. She hops off the turnbuckle and walks over to the corner. She’s handed a microphone and walks back to the middle of the ring. She then looks around as the crowd roars.

 

Dawn: “It’s good to be back home…although, it’s not been too long since I was sitting at home, looking for the next opportunity.”

 

Dawn smirks as she looks around and the crowd roars a bit.

 

Dawn: “And that opportunity led me to taking hold of this title for the third time with the third different person. Now I was supposed to come out here with that person and his associates. I was supposed to come out with the Network and obviously, as you can see, that’s not the case right now. And-“

 

“Lucifer’s Angel” by the Rasmus starts to play. Dawn turns to the entrance way as we see Damian Angel step out from back. Behind him are Behemoth, Malphas and Kali. The crowd boos seeing him. Damian Angel then starts to leads his trio to the ring, tapping his cane against rampway as he walks down. Dawn just watches them.

 

Sharper: “Dawn Lohan was about to say something, but Damian Angel on his way out here with his instruments of destruction.”

 

Knots: “If I’m Dawn, I get the hell out of dodge.”

 

Sharper: “Max Kane is still backstage and he’s not in any condition after they made a simple show of strength.”

 

Damian Angel reaches the ring and grabs the ropes and pulls himself up. He then look sat Kali as Kali runs around the ring. Behemoth and Malphus pull themselves up onto the apron and stand across from Dawn. Kali is handed a microphone and she runs back around the ring. She then smiles sadistically as she extends it to Damian. Damian turns back to Dawn.

 

Dawn: “Damian-“

 

Damian: “Dawn…now that we have the pleasantries out of the way. I assume you saw our demonstration earlier.”

 

Dawn: “Yes…and Max…he’s just-“

 

Damian: “A cocky man and one who learned a lesson tonight. Now Dawn, time for you to learn one-“

 

Dawn: “I can appreciate what your team is capable of, along with you Damian-“

 

Damian: “Do you?”

 

Damian smiles briefly. Behemoth and Malphus then enter the ring. Kali takes their place on the apron.

 

Damian: “Because Dawn…I’m going to ask you a simple question. Are you his tag team partner?”

 

Dawn looks at Damian and then Behemoth and Malphus.

 

Dawn: “Yes-“

 

Dawn then lunges and nails Behemoth in the jaw with the microphone. She turns as Kali enters the ring and Malphus blocks a kick from Dawn and lifts her up and just throws her back. She hits the mat and rolls over. The crowd boos and Behemoth lunges and grabs Dawn from behind, wrapping his arms around her body and trapping her arms. He turns and Kali lunges and kicks her in the jaw. Dawn falls forward a bit and Behemoth lets go before Malphus grabs one arm, Behemoth grabs the other and they both lift her up as Damian holds his cane up.

 

Sharper: “Har Megiddo assaulting Dawn and she knew it. They are sending a message to both!”

 

Knots: “And Dawn is half out of it now!”

 

Sharper: “These two monsters and Kali. They have her up!”

 

Kali then lunges and they drop Dawn with the Eternal Damnation. The crowd boos as Malphus and Behemoth slowly get up. Kali cackles as she looks around before the crowd roars as we see Sophie James and David Callahan. Callahan can be seen shaking his head no, while Sophie just runs right over to Damian and pulls him off the apron. Callahan just looks at him and yells out “Sorry Satan!” before drilling him with a hard right. Sophie then grabs his cane and rolls into the ring. Kali turns and Sophie enters and nails her in the ribs with Damian’s cane. Callahan slides in as Malphus goes for Sophie and Sophie just swings the cane violently towards his arm. Behemoth meanwhile blocks a hard shot from Callahan before shoving him back. Sophie turns and ducks a shot from Malphus before turning and nailing him in the back.

 

Sharper: “Sophie James and David Callahan coming down!”

 

Knots: “Callahan punched Damian in the face!”

 

Sharper: “And they’re helping Dawn Lohan! They’re helping their opponent at Taking Hold of the Flame! Sophie James leading the charge and trying to fight off Har Megiddo!”

 

She turns around and Behemoth lifts her up and throws her back and into the corner. Callahan backs away from Behemoth before we see Savali, Jack Parker and Dante McCaffery running out from the back. Damian notices this and walks back from the rampway and yells something in another language. This cause Behemoth and Malphus to stop. They exit and Kali exits too. Savali rolls into the ring as does Jack Parker and Dante McCaffery. Damian backs away, watching them and Behemoth, Malphus and Kali meet with him. He then motions as Sophie grabs at his cane. She turns and starts to help Dawn Lohan up as she winces in pain. Damian and Har Megiddo start to make their exit as the crowd roars.

 

Sharper: “The Network out here. Numbers not in Har Megiddo’s favour and Damian Angel calling for retreat!”

 

Knots: “They’re leaving and Dawn Lohan at least is somehow still in one piece.”

 

Sharper: “Sophie James helping Dawn up.”

 

They watch as Har Megiddo makes their exit up the rampway before we cut back to the ring where Dawn and Sophie share a few words and Dawn looks appreciative before Savali suddenly grabs Sophie by the hair and pulls her out before hoisting her up onto her shoulders and throwing her back with a Samoan drop. Callahan lunges and we then see Jack Parker turn and knee him in the ribs before backing up and kneeing him in the face. The crowd ohs and Dawn Lohan steps between them and Sophie and David, stopping them.

 

Sharper: “The Network assaulting Sophie and David now!”

 

Knots: “Well guess they could’ve taken care of it!”

 

Sharper: “Dawn is stopping them…but…”

 

Dante gets a shot in on Sophie before Dawn steps over and shoves him back and stops him. Dante then backs up and waves them off. Savali backs up as does Jack Parker. Dante McCaffery meanwhile grabs Dawn’s Tag Team Championship belt. Dawn Lohan looks at Sophie and David before back at the Network.

 

Sharper: “And this is the partnership underpinning the World Tag Team Champions!”

 

Dawn then reluctantly turns and starts to follow the Network as the crowd buzzes and we cut away.

“Immortals” starts to play as the Breakdown logo comes across the screen. We then see a shot of Blake Mason.

 

Sharper: “Well whatever Blake Mason is involved in. Whatever has been set up for him tonight. He’ll find out next, here on Breakdown!”

 

Knots: “Hopefully it’s an ass-kicking!”

 

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

We open up backstage to see Dante McCaffery, Savali and Jack Parker walking down the hallway. Dawn Lohan runs up behind them and grabs Dante and spins him around.

 

Dawn: “What was that?”

 

Dante: “A message. They are not your allies, nor Max’s.”

 

Dawn: “So…they’re probably the only reason I’m still conscious right now or did you miss what Har Megiddo did to Max?”

 

Dante: “Then send them a card.”

 

Dante turns and heads off with Savali. Jack turns to Dawn.

 

Jack: “This is how we deal with things. I get you don’t want to get your hands dirty. But this is how we’re going to maintain our control of those titles.”

 

Jack turns and walks off. Dawn sighs and then starts to follow them, shaking her head before we cut away.

Blake Mason vs. El Angel del Cielo II vs. El Angel del Cielo III vs. El Angel del Cielo IV

 

The lights go out as “O Fortuna - Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff starts to play. A spotlight shines down on the stage as we see Blake Mason standing with his back facing the ring wearing bejewelled robe. Holding the pose momentarily, he turns around. He heads to the ring.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Boston, Massachusetts, he is Blake Mason.”

 

He walks up the steel steps and steps into the ring. He looks around and smiles before walking to the middle of the ring and undoing his robe. He turns to a ring attendant, hands them his robe. Blake leans against the turnbuckle looking all smug. He remains there until the match starts.

 

Sharper: “Blake looks to be doing a favour for David Helms in some ways. David offering it to him. Blake wanting to compete.”

 

Knots: “So he has to face all three El Angels?”

 

Sharper: “Fatal four way rules. Also looks like the El Angels are going to have to compete against each other. If Blake wins, obviously none get in. But otherwise, if one of them, II, III or IV, they have a spot.”

 

The rock music heard starts to play as we see the black and gold trimmed El Angel del Cielo II running out from the back. She looks around before heading to the ring.

 

Phillips: “Next, from Monterrey, Mexico, she is El Angel del Cielo II!”

 

The crowd boos a bit as she heads to the ring. The music continues to play before we see El Angel del Cielo III, with dark hair, and pink and white trim, starting to head to the ring. She does a pose before looking around and nodding and heading to the ring.

 

Phillips: “Next, from Acapulco, Mexico, she is El Angel del Cielo III!”

 

Sharper: “Just to establish it, whatever Ravyn and CHBK have done here, they’re even all from different parts of Mexico and even those less serviced by the main promotions!”

 

Knots: “So are they going to work together?”

 

Sharper: “It’s a pay day at least. They get their appearance fee to compete again. CHBK and Ravyn had this planned enough to take care of visas and what not and bill it all to SCW.”

 

The music continues before we see the final one, El Angel del Cielo IV, with blonde hair and pink streaks, heading to the ring.

 

Phillips: “And finally, from Mexico City, Mexico, El Angel del Cielo IV!”

 

The crowd boos some more before we cut backstage to see Syren, Ravyn Taylor and CHBK all watching on the monitor.

 

Knots: “At least we know one isn’t Syren.”

 

Sharper: “Let’s make sure that’s a live shot….It is…Alright right. I wonder how far this ruse is going to go.”

 

We cut back as El Angel del Cielo IV slides into the ring. He gets up as Blake Mason looks around at all three. II eyes Blake, while III watches IV. The bell sounds.

 

Sharper: “Here we go!”

 

Just then, II, III and IV all run at Blake and dropkick him, knocking him down and out of the ring. II gets up and turns and grabs III and promptly throws her out of the ring. IV turns and grabs III and goes for the roll-up and does.

III however kicks out. IV turns back and in English, clearly yells out.

 

IV: “That’s not the plan!”

 

III however gets up and then grabs IV and runs her into the ropes. She bounces off and III jumps up and hits a dropkicks to the face. IV hits the mat and rolls over.

 

Sharper: “Wait a minute. I think one of the El Angel’s has gone rogue!”

 

Knots: “IV was supposed to win there I think!”

 

II gets back in as Blake starts to stir and she gets up and III then kicks her in the ribs and whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and III hip tosses her down. She then grabs her and II takes her down by the leg. She goes for the pin.

III kicks out and both get up and flip up to their feet. III runs past II and II pushes her in. She bounces off and goes for a flying headscissors. II shakes her off. III goes for a clothesline, but II ducks and then grabs her and hits a back suplex. III rolls over and falls over. II gets up and IV rolls back in. She then looks at II and II nodes and IV goes for the small package, but Blake enters and stomps her in the back, getting some cheers from the crowd.

 

Sharper: “Blake breaking it up. Looks like El Angel II is still working with El Angel IV.”

 

Knots: “Blake may have realized that and quickly stopped this.”

 

Blake then turns and grabs IV and lifts her up and throws her out of the ring. IV hits the floor and Blake turns as II gets up and kicks him in the ribs. She runs into the ropes, bounces off and jumps up for a hurricanrana, but Blake blocks it and lifts her up before throwing her back, throat first on the top rope. The crowd ohs and II falls back. III slides back in and Blake gets up and she jumps up and hits a flying headscissors. Blake turns and moves to the ropes. III then grabs II and pulls her up and hits a falcon arrow, pressing down on her chest for the pin.

Blake breaks it up. She rolls over and Blake grabs her. He then nails her with a European uppercut, stunning her. He then hooks her up and hoists her up with a vertical suplex into his knee.

 

Sharper: “Blake takes El Angel III and takes her down hard. Right across his knee.”

 

Knots: “That’ll stop whatever she’s aiming to do.”

 

IV however grabs at the ropes and starts to pull herself up. She tries to hide a bit before II stirs and Blake grabs her and pulls her up and hits a belly to belly suplex. IV then climbs up to the top rope and looks at Blake as he feigns going for a cover.

IV jumps off and hits a splash, but Blake moves, causing her to hit II. The crowd roars. IV gets up and Blake kicks her in the ribs and places her head between his legs. He goes for a powerbomb, but IV blocks it and slides through, driving him down with a facebuster. The crowd ohs and IV gets up and looks around before turning and going to the corner.

 

IV: “I’ll take care of this myself then!”

 

IV exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. She then looks over before we see III getting up and running over and shoving her off. IV falls off and down to the floor.

 

Sharper: “IV was looking to finish it, but El Angel del Cielo III with the interception!”

 

Knots: “Touchdown!”

 

III turns and II starts to get up and she runs across and boots her in the face. She falls back and out of the ring. III then turns and smiles before turning around, but right into Blake Mason who hoists her up and hits the Blake Mason Experience. The crowd cheers a bit and Blake hooks her legs.

The bell sounds. El Angel del Cielo III turns, holding her neck in pain.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Blake Mason!”

 

Sharper: “And El Angel del Cielos are all shut out from Taking Hold of the Flame!”

 

Knots: “You wonder if they had just let El Angel IV win, but-“

 

Sharper: “III saw the opportunity. And I’m more stunned that Blake Mason was willing to play ball here.”

 

Blake Mason gets up and looks around as El Angel del Cielo IV winces on the floor. Blake Mason has his arm raised. We then cut backstage to see Syren turning to Ravyn. CHBK just nods. He turns and heads off as Blake Mason continues to stand in the ring.

We then open up back in Toronto to see Spirit Dansby and Shawn Winters at the desk in the SCW Studios.

 

Spirit: “I’m stunned by that, but Blake Mason helping in terms of this scourge of El Angel del Cielos we’re seeing.”

 

Winters: “Working with the Commissioner and it’s a change of pace. But we’ll see what we see here. Looks like Dark Fantasy isn’t happy and that’s not good. We’ve seen Regan Street seem to approach her son and bring her into matters. And finally, we still have some big matches to come.”

 

Spirit: “A lot more to come. We’ll try to break some things down when we return.”

 

The camera pans out as the Breakdown logo comes across the screen.

 

Voice: “Still to come on Breakdown!”

 

We then see as hot of Bree getting a shot blocked by Amy Chastaine before she’s knocked down and then showing Bree holding the envelope from two weeks ago.

 

Voice: “Bree Mason and a partner will face Amy Chastaine and Jason Helms in what is sure to be a personal battle!”

 

We then see a shot of Ikiro Yoshida celebrating with the Television Championship and the US Championship, before showing Bill Barnhart locking Ikiro in the Barnhart Shoulder Breaker from December, and then a shot of Katie Steward posing.

 

Voice: “The SCW Television Championship will also be on the line when Ikiro Yoshida, Bill Barnhart and Katie Steward compete. And…”

 

We then see a shot of Selena Frost nailing Regan Street with the Defying Gravity before cutting to a shot of Hudson suplexing Selena over.

 

Voice: “Our main event, Selena Frost will face Josh Hudson. All this and more as Breakdown continues!”

 

The Breakdown logo comes across the screen again.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we open in the SCW Studios in Toronto again to see Spirit Danby with Shawn Winters. The camera pans down to the desk.

 

Spirit: “Welcome back to Toronto. We’ll be back in San Diego shortly. But it’s been a big night already. We’ve see Dark Fantasy try to get a title shot. The El Angel del Cielo situation. Blake Mason involved there.”

 

Knots: “But what about Regan Street and him coming, with Josh Hudson and AJ Helms leaving with them. Is AJ siding with his adoptive mother? He’s been more upset lately. People have talked about how he’s had some issues with David Helms taking over as commissioner.”

 

Spirit: “Perhaps common enemies and tonight, with everything Davis said to me last week, Josh Hudson likely wanted to respond. That may also explain why I was unable to get an interview with him.”

 

Knots: “I thought you were connected.”

 

Spirit: “I am but he’s a tight-lipped man with a plan and tonight, we may have seen that. Regan likely played a role. Working together with this all.”

 

Knots: “What will that mean for him and also AJ had been hanging around Jason. What will that mean for him?”

 

Spirit: “I don’t know, but we have something happening….more someone’s catching some footage-“

 

We then cut to the backstage area where we see Bree Mason with Sienna Swann and Scott Burnside. Laura Steinbeck is there too with the Truelove Twins. They discussing something ,but there’s no sound.

 

Winters: “Looks like we have an answer with regard to who Bree’s partner is. Sienna Swann is apparently going to get to blow off some steam.”

 

Spirit: “Well with Regan and Josh running around doing other things. I could see what .Bree and Sienna are allies. Maybe even Blake had something to do with it.”

 

Winters: “Given how everything is coming together with the battle against Dark Fantasy’s plan. Maybe?”

 

Spirit: “In any case, some questions answered there. David Helms being very busy here tonight. Along with that, we saw Har Megiddo give a message to Max Kane and Dawn Lohan.”

 

Winters: “But with that, the problem now for Dawn…she just found out first hand how the Network does business and it’s not WONDERFUL.”

 

Spirit: “We’ll see how that partnership continues. Sophie James and David Callahan, they will face the Network for the World Tag Team Championship at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

 

Spirit pauses for a moment.

 

Spirit: “We have another situation unfolding it seems. We’re going to take you back to San Diego. Thirteen is confronting Blake Mason!”

 

Winters: “This will be fun.”

 

We then cut to the backstage area with Thirteen and Blake Mason a few feet from each other. We see officials there, to keep the peace.

 

Thirteen: “Relax…I’m not going to try anything.”

 

Blake just looks at him.

 

Thirteen: “Nice job out there…to bad I can’t help but feel its entirely self-motivated.”

 

Blake: “Thirteen…I’ve already said I’ll face you. Said it to David-“

 

Thirteen: “I don’t care about that. I know that match will be made when it can be. I care about this desire to just compete. From someone like you where you’ve always needed the frills, I find it hollow and even tonight, with it having a connection to your wife’s affairs…”

 

Blake: “Or maybe I just wanted to do something good for once and prevent someone from screwing thins around.”

 

Thirteen steps forward and we see one of the officials place a hand between them.

 

Thirteen: “Sorry, Blake…but as long as you support what your wife is doing with her revenge plans and the fact that you likely helped fund them….I find anything you say to ring hollow.”

 

Blake: “I’m not going to desert my wife.”

 

Thirteen: “Didn’t say that either. But you’ve not disavowed anything, especially when you run under your contractual provisions. You are still the same man you always were.”

 

Blake balls up his face. Thirteen looks at it.

 

Thirteen: “Go cheer your wife on.”

 

Thirteen turns and just calmly walks away. Blake steps forward before stopping himself.f He then holds his hands up as the officials keep between him and Thirteen. We then cut back to the SCW Studio.

 

Winters: “I think Thirteen just said what we were all thinking.”

 

Spirit: “I don’t get why he can’t support his wife.”

 

Winters: “When she’s trying to destroy someone’s reputation. Are you telling me that you didn’t have some wild nights out when you were in university? Heck, did we meet anywhere before?”

 

Spirit: “Stop it…Anyway, when we return…Blake’s wife, Bree Mason, will be in action. Sounds like with Sienna Swann in her corner. Amy Chastaine and Jason Helms on the other side. Breakdown continues from San Diego, after this!”

 

The camera pans back as Spirit gets up and shakes her head and walks off. We then cut to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Bree Mason & Sienna Swann vs. Amy Chastaine & Jason Helms

 

Blue and white lights flash in time with the music and the words:

"Tear me down, it won't build you up"

Amy Chastaine comes through the curtain just as the tempo of New Years Day's "Relentless" picks up with the chorus, the lights flashing to keep up. With one hand she flips her hair out of her face, with a confident grin, gazing out at the cheering crowd. She starts down the ramp, greeting fans along the way.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from New Orleans, Louisiana and she is Amy Chastaine!”

Amy gets in the ring by hopping up on the apron, and stepping between the second and third ropes. She goes to the second rope in the corner near the ring steps, and poses for the fans, one arm in the air, the other on her hip, a smile for the cheering fans. Amy hops down and goes to the opposite corner, and does the same pose. Amy then hops down and awaits the start of her match as the music fades and the light stop flashing.

 

Sharper: “Welcome back to San Diego. Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots at ringside. First time we’re going to see Jason Helms and Amy Chastaine team-up. This was scheduled to be B&B Experience against Helms and Amy. But that’s not happening. We just saw Blake in action. Sounds like it’s going to be Sienna Swann!”

 

Knots: “And that’s a big adjustment. Amy has a history with Blake. Sienna…very different wrestler to deal with. But first off…I need to make this clear….LEAVE BREE-TNEY ALONE!”

 

Sharper: “You had some fun earlier today on Twitter.”

 

Knots: “Me? Have fun…never…”

 

The lights in the arena cut and the darkness remains for a moment before the intro of “Hated” by Beartooth starts to play over the PA system, the lyrics appearing on the big screen in time with the music.

“WHO KNEW YOU’D BE HATED FOR BEING WHO YOU ARE…
AND BE A BIG TARGET FOR ALL THE FOR ALL THE INSECURE…”

The crash of drums and the wail of guitars kick the song in properly and as the volume doubles a spotlight appears on the stage to show a smirking Jason Helms standing there with his arms out wide and the fans cheer at the sight of him. He throws his head back as Aniya Helms walks into the light and steps up in front of Jason, leaning her back into his stomach as she brings her arms up around his neck. Jason lowers his head again and Aniya steps forward for Jason to remove his jacket and he tosses it onto the floor, pausing only to slap his wife’s ass, before he sprints to the ring. 

Phillips: “Her partner, on his way to the ring, accompanied by his wife Aniya; he is the Jackass from New Jersey, fighting out of the Hollywood Hills, Jason Helms!”

Helms hits the ring and slides under the ropes, popping straight back up to his feet and scaling the turnbuckles to throw his arms out again as his wife makes her way to ringside with Jason’s jacket trailing from one hand. The fans cheer as Jason points at some of them from his position on the ropes before he turns and drops down into the corner, talking to Aniya as he turns to Amy and the two start to speak.

 

Knots: “All of this because Bree Mason can’t just understand that they’re consenting adults.”

 

Sharper: “She wants to destroy Amy’s career and life. Drag her reputation through the mud. And even Blake said earlier this is getting to be much. But on top of that, tonight, she really wants that win. She’s in a foul mood after not walking away as the World Champion last week in Japan!”

 

The horns of "I'm Worth It" by Fifth Harmony begin as the lights dim somewhat, and a few white spotlights dance on the stage in time to the music. Bree Mason appears, her white silk robe clinging to her hips. Scott Burnside appears behind her, and they start down the ramp.

Bree then struts down the ramp as the chorus continues, her free hand on the silver silk belt holding her robe shut. Two crossing spotlights follow her progress.

Phillips: “Making her way to the ring, currently residing in New Orleans, she is being accompanied by her personal assistant Scott Burnside, the Classy One, Bree Mason!”

The music continues as Bree gets to the ring. She stops at the steps to pose a second as Scott goes up ahead of her. Bree follows up the steps as Scott then holds the ropes open for Bree to step through. She then does a little circle in the ring, showing off a bit, before stopping in the middle of the ring. Bree tugs on the silver belt, and the robe falls open revealing her pure white and silver trimmed outfit. She then pulls the robe off, swishing it around and tossing it at Scott as he stands near the corner on the apron. Bree then raises her arms overhead in a flourish, then walks another small circle, a smug smirk on her face. Scott goes down the steps to the floor as Bree's music fades and the lights return to normal. She then backs up and looks at Amy as Amy snaps at her. Bree just backs up, watching her and then pointing at Jason Helms, running her mouth.

 

Sharper: “It begins. Bree and Amy already jawing at each other. The personal nature of this all.”

 

Knots: “No respect there. Maybe in the ring. But not personally. Nothing is off limits it seems.”

 

A red carpet is rolled out with a few photographers positioned toward the entrance position, the woman by the name of Laura Steinbeck along with the Truelove Twins directs everyone to take their positions just as the arena goes dark. Suddenly one lone spotlight shines in entrance where smoke begins to come out and surround the stage. “Style" by Taylor Swift begins to play throughout the arena, the Tron plays the Video of her various photo-shoots, training, fighting, swimsuits, lingerie and walking through nightclubs with men gawking over her in skin tight dresses. Then Angel, Sienna Swann walks out with her head down as the crowd boos.

Sienna then extends her arms and reveals the large golden angel wings that are part of her entrance gear, she looks around at the crowd and smirks, posing as the camera flashes begin to pepper down on her from the “paparazzi” staged around her, Laura making sure that they take plenty of pics of The Beautiful Angel before making her way to the ring, Laura instructs the Twins to follow her to the ring as she disappears to the back with the photographers….

Phillips: “Her partner, accompanied by the Truelove Twins, from Johannesburg, South Africa, she is the Iron Angel, Sienna Swann!”


Sienna walks down to the ring. She continues to the apron, climbing up the stairs and to the top rope, posing with her wings spread wide. She looks up to the rafters as a gold spotlight like the light of heaven shines down on her as gold glitter begins to rain down on the entire arena. Sienna smirks and hops into the ring, spreading her arms out and smiling before taking off her wings from help of the Twins, they make their way out of the ring and to the corner while Sienna walks over to Bree. The two talk a bit, talking strategy.

 

Sharper: “Sienna Swann ready to go and it’s a familiar face. Blake Mason making sure that she got a quality opponent.”

 

Knots: “Can’t deny that. The IronAngel. But part of me is wondering what would’ve happened if Helms put his wife in there. What would Regan have done with Jason?!”

 

Sharper: “Maybe he’s trying to protect Jason. Or maybe he knows Regan is chomping at the bit. We saw it earlier with AJ and Justin Davis. Helping Hudson. Helms has his hands full and maybe didn’t want to risk something here.”

 

The bell sounds. Amy steps forward as she points to Bree. Bree just smirks and exits the ring as Sienna tells her she’ll take care of her. Jason remains on the apron. Amy rolls her eyes as the two look around before lunging at one another and Sienna and Amy push back on each other in a collar and elbow tie-up. Amy turns into a side headlock. She looks at Bree and pulls back. Sienna drags her back and fires her into the ropes. She bounces off and Sienna goes for a back elbow. Amy ducks and bounces off the other side. Sienna goes for a hip toss, but Amy blocks it and turns and hip tosses her down. She then turns and looks at Bree, pointing at her. Sienna starts to get up and Amy turns and runs over and kicks her in the ribs. Sienna gets to the corner. Amy forearms her. Sienna yells at the referee to get her back, as Bree does the same. Amy then holds her back a bit.

 

Sharper: “Amy focusing on Bree a bit, but working over Sienna.”

 

Knots: “Forcing Sienna maybe to tag her in.”

 

Sharper: “Bree wanted nothing with Amy to start. I know they want to fight, so this is just Bree making Amy wait.”

 

Knots: “And she’d know how Amy would react.”

 

Amy then whips Sienna across the ring. Amy turns and runs after. Sienna gets her boot up, but Amy blocks it and throws it down and forearms her. She then grabs Sienna and hits a hip toss. The crowd cheers. Sienna rolls over and gets up and Amy hits a dropkick. She goes for the pin.

Sienna kicks out. Amy rolls off and she then motions to Sienna to tag in Bree. Bree just smirks before Sienna starts to get up. Amy then grabs her and goes to pull her over, but Sienna elbows her in the ribs. She then forearms her in the jaw. Amy falls to the ropes. Sienna then kicks her in the ribs and whips her across. Amy bounces off and Sienna hits a jumping elbow. Amy hits the mat and Sienna goes for the pin.

Amy kicks out. She turns and Sienna grabs her and pulls her up. She then scoops her up and slams her down. Amy turns and Sienna grabs her and Amy hits a jawbreaker. Amy then falls back and reluctantly extends her hand as Jason tags himself in.

 

Sharper: “Amy reluctantly getting out of the ring. Jason Helms now in.”

 

Knots: “And look at the smile on Sienna’s face.”

 

Sienna backs up and smiles. Jason enters and points to her and then Bree. Jason then shrugs and goes for a hard right. Sienna flinches, stunned before Jason just stops himself before kicking her in the ribs. The crowd roars. Jason pushes her out and whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Jason hits a powerslam. He runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a jumping elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

Sienna kicks out. Both get up and Jason grabs Sienna and pulls her up and then goes to whip her into the ropes. She bounces off and Jason goes for a clothesline. Sienna ducks. She stops and hits a forearm, a left thigh kick, a right hook and then a jumping enziguri to the head and Jason falls over. Sienna turns and starts to get up.

 

Knots: “Angel’s Wrath just returning the favour. I think Sienna was thinking Jason may side with PPF. Family connections and all.”

 

Sharper: “Jason happily in the corner of Amy and quickly finding out that he’s in there with some of the best in the world.’

 

Knots: “Big match for him too. And he’s got an interim US Title shot to worry about! And Regan’s wrath!”

 

Jason stirs and Sienna grabs him and then jumps up and knees him between the shoulder blades and Jason falls into the corner near Bree. Sienna then tags Bree in. The crowd roars and boos as Bree enters and Sienna holds Jason and Bree kicks him in the ribs and then again and finally a third time. Jason falls over. He starts to get up as Sienna exits and Bree watches him and looks at Amy.

 

Bree: “Him?! Really?”

 

Bree then runs up behind him and drills him with a diving forearm to the back of his head. He rolls over. Bree then stomps him in the chest and then again and again. She then looks around and poses as the crowd boos. She then looks at Amy and taunts her. Amy steps into the ring and starts to get up to fight her, but the official stops her. Bree then turns and as Jason gets up and dropkicks him in the face. Amy keeps trying to get in and Bree then points to Sienna who climbs up to the top rope and dives off with the Swann-ton Bomb. The crowd ohs and Sienna rolls out of the ring, posing.

 

Sharper: “Bree and Sienna, they’ve got the chemistry. They know what they’re doing! The Swann-ton.”

 

Knots: “Right to the ribs and that’s a way to keep Jason down. Force all of the air out!”

 

Bree then dives onto him for the pin as Amy exits. The referee turns.

Jason kicks out. Amy starts to enter and Bree backs up and points her out. The official stops her. Jason rolls over and starts to get up and Bree follows up and forearms him in the jaw. She then grabs him and starts to pull her across. Jason however stops her. Bree tries to drag her off, before Jason suddenly pulls her into a short-arm clothesline. Jason falls to a knee. He winces a bit and looks around.

 

Sharper: “Jason catches Bree. Clothesline!”

 

Knots: “Needs to get up and get Amy in there. Come on! Let’s see what she does then!”

 

Jason gets up as Bree starts to pull herself up and Jason then grabs her and elbows her in the jaw before whipping her across. Bree bounces off and Jason launches her in the air with a back body drop. Sienna enters and runs over to Jason and Jason lifts her up with a back drop and she rolls out of the ring. Bree gets up and Jason kicks her in the ribs and hits a snap suplex. Bree stirs and Jason then turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a spinning heel kick. He rolls through and gets up and looks around before Bree gets up and Jason lifts her up and hits the hot shot. Bree falls back and Jason looks around before walking over to Bree. He grabs her by the hair and looks at Amy. The crowd starts to cheer as Amy looks around and extends her arm. Sienna ends up back in her corner as Jason pulls Bree back but Bree suddenly nails Jason with the BOGO. Jason staggers back and into the corner.

 

Sharper: “Bree getting free. Jason back in the corner. Amy’s in! She’s in!’

 

Knots: “Tag!”

 

The crowd roars as Amy tags herself in. Bree falls back and rolls to Sienna and tags her in. She rolls to the floor and smirks a bit as Sienna slingshots in and goes for a hard right, but Amy blocks it and nails her with a shot. She then turns and runs Sienna into the corner, driving her face first. She then turns and reaches out and grabs Bree by the hair. The crowd roars as Bree yells out. Scott grabs Bree’s arm to keep her on the outside of the ring before Amy tries to jerk her in, but Sienna gets out hits a shoot kick to the back. Amy lets go and winces and turns around and Sienna grabs her and hits a facebuster. Sienna ends up on her knees.

 

Sharper: “Sienna helping Bree. Preventing Amy from getting her hands on her.”

 

Knots: “And you saw Bree. She was smiling. She’s trying to get under Amy’s skin! She’s giving herself something to smile about. After Kennedy knocked her out!”

 

Sienna goes for the pin.

Amy pushes her off. She rolls over and Sienna grabs her. She then pulls her back by the hair, but Amy elbows her in the jaw. She then rolls forward and tags in Jason. Jason enters the ring and nails Sienna in the ribs with a kick. He turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and clotheslines her down. He then steps forward to look at Bree on the floor.

 

Jason: “Hey! BREE! Want me to leave you alone? Got a t-shirt for that?!”

 

Bree turns and rolls into the ring and Jason smirks and turns around and grabs Sienna. He scoops her up and slams her down. He turns and exits to the apron and then climbs up the neutral corner to the top. Bree keeps trying to get in, before Scott hops onto the apron. Jason boots him in the face. He falls back and Sienna runs over and dropkicks Jason in the legs. He falls hard and down to the mat. He rolls over as Sienna watches. Bree exits before the Truelove Twins walk around the ring. Amy turns and watches them as Jason gets up. London hops onto the apron as the referee tells her to get down. Sienna then lunges and nails Amy with a forearm shot, knocking her down. Bree takes this opportunity to enter the ring and as Jason gets up, drills him with the Classifier. She rolls out of the ring and Sienna goes for the pin.

 

Sharper: “Spear from behind!”

 

Knots: “Bree getting the shot in on Jason! God damn it!”

 

Sharper: “Sienna with the pin. Trueloves making sure Bree got that shot in!”

The crowd boos.

 

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Sienna Swann and Bree Mason!”

 

Bree smiles as she snaps at Jason. Amy starts to get up and considers getting in the ring. Bree even takes a cheap shot at Jason, stomping him in the face and he rolls out. Amy hops onto the apron as the crowd roars. Bree looks at her as the Truelove Twins enter the ring. Amy drops down and helps Jason out.

 

Sharper: “Don’t want to face Amy, but will take your shots on a downed Jason!”

 

Knots: “Saw the opportunity. But I guarantee this is only going to get her more attention from Amy. She won’t be leaving BREE-tney alone!”

 

Sharper: “Bree rebounding, with the help of Sienna Swann. That partnership looks as well-oiled as ever still.”

 

Sienna poses as Bree has her arm raised while looking right at Amy. Amy just keeps glaring at her before the scene slowly fades out.

COMMERCIALS

We open up backstage to see Alistaire Allocco ranting in the backstage area.

 

Alistaire: “Amazing, the fans actually cheering them for their lechery. For destroying the institution of marriage…and one has a title shot and the other is a Supreme Champion. This is the top tier…It’s disgusting. But it’s fine…with Ace out, I will make sure that we are able to restore some value there. I will not let Jason-“

 

Cassidy: “What the hell are you prattling on about?”

 

Alistaire turns back as we see Cassidy standing there, looking up from her magazine.

 

Alistaire: “Jason Helms has a US title shot and Amy Chastaine is apparently having sex with him…while married!”

 

Cassidy: “Alistaire…no one cares. Outside of the fact that Jason and Amy are morons. No one cares. As for Ace, he’ll be back next week-“

 

Alistaire: “And Memphis?”

 

Cassidy: “Oh, I’m pretty sure he’s dead. Or in a ditch…or with gonorrhea…someone should maybe tell the Trueloves…Did they ever do anything or did they string him along?”

 

Alistaire looks disgusted.

 

Alistaire: “He’s just like them.”

 

Cassidy: “And he’s dead.”

 

Alistaire: “Wait…he’s dead?”

 

Cassidy: “Okay. No longer around. Ace and I gave up on him. He couldn’t stop Gio.”

 

Alistaire: “I couldn’t either.”

 

Cassidy: “But you’re a good punching bag…like Katelyn.”

 

Alistaire: “I don’t get why you don’t care for her. She seems nice-“

 

Cassidy looks at him and throws the magazine down.

 

Cassidy: “She is not nice. She uses her past as a crutch to talk about how great she is. She was at rock bottom. She’s still at rock bottom now. She’s just too lost in her own stupidity. I just hate her okay!”

 

Alistaire: “Duly noted…so then…uh. What about Amy and Jason?”

 

Cassidy: “Oh Jason already kicked your ass once. But Amy...maybe you can get some money from Bree as payment for purifying her or whatever the hell.”

 

Alistaire: “Do we need money?”

 

Cassidy looks at Alistaire.

 

Cassidy: “How are you this old and not dead yet?”

 

Alistaire: “I’ve got good mentors and I would like to make sure we have a chance to hold the World Championship again. Perhaps by winning the battle royal.”

 

Cassidy: “That would be nice. Go for that. Plan for that. I’d like new shoes.”

 

Alistaire: “Excellent.”

 

Alistaire smiles as we cut away.

Katie Steward vs. Bill Barnhart vs. Ikiro Yoshida

SCW Television Championship

 

Sharper: “Welcome and we’re about ready to have another HUGE match. I hope you’re ready for this is going to be one interesting triple threat match up.”

Knots: “It is, on one hand we have Katie Steward, the Goddess of SCW. Victory tonight sees her finally become a Supreme Champion, another accolade to add to your long list she has gathered throughout her SCW career.”

Sharper: “That is very true, an incredible career albeit questionable at times. Her opponent of course is a man who has been on a tear as of late, the current TV Champion and that is Ikiro Yoshida who also holds the Interim United States Championship as well. He has Jason Helms waiting in the wings for his opportunity and we cannot forget Regan Street has her eyes interested in regaining what was essentially stripped from her barring her suspension.”

Knots: “The real dark horse or Bulldog I should say is the Bulldog Bill Barnhart, huge opportunity to win a championship and he already holds a single victory over Ikiro Yoshida and by submission no less so that will have to be playing on the mind of the Champion.”

Sharper: “Well without further ado, Jason Phillips is in the ring ready to introduce all three superstars.”

Phillips: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, has a thirty-minute time limit and is a Triple Threat match for the SCW TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP!!!”

The SCW fans roar with the cameras doing a flyby before returning to the ring.

Phillips: “Introducing first…”

The lights in the arena dim down darkening the area and “Mercy on Me (Instrumental)” starts to play. A spotlight shines down onto the stage for Katie Steward to step out from behind the curtain and stands in the light. She wears her white ring robe with a pink outline around the white cloth and gold sequences sparkled over it. She grabs the sides of her robe holding it out and spins around slowly showing off to the fans who snap photos and videos of her.

After a few seconds on the posing on the stage she turns back around and continues her walk down the ramp with the spotlight following. Inside the ring, TJ Johnson is already there and has helped himself to the ring announcer’s microphone.

TJ Johnson: “Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m proud and honoured to introduce to you tonight, your Goddess of Desire, nay your Goddess of Supreme, Katie Steward.”

Katie makes it to ringside and walking over to the ring steps. She stops as TJ finishes her introduction and a mixed reaction from the fans. The arena lights return to normal. She carefully climbs up and grabs the ring post, so she doesn’t fall. She walks along the apron and waits for TJ to walk over and holds the ropes open for her. Katie enters the ring and walks to the middle and stands there taking off her ring robe revealing her amazing and beautiful ring wrestling attire and TJ is right there to take her robe from her. Katie and TJ walk over to her corner and TJ exits the ring with Katie’s robe in hand and Katie gets warmed up for her match.

Knots: “Tonight is going to be her night, Supreme Champion it has a great ring to it.”

Sharper: “Anything is possible but EyeYoshi has been on a tear as of late and Barnhart has the tenacity to make his mark.”

While Katie stands in her corner looking at the crowd, Confident by Demi Lovato begins to play as the lights in the arena go dark. We watch as pink spotlights flash around the entrance area. After a short time, we see “Bulldog” Bill Barnhart step out from the backstage area with his English Bulldog, Iris, strutting along beside him. Iris is wearing a pink diamond-studded dog collar and there is a pink leash attached to the collar and the leash trails behind her as she comes down the entrance ramp toward the ring.

Phillips: “Hailing from Oakland, California and is being escorted to the ring by his pet Bulldog IRIS, he is BILL BARNHART!!”

The fans don’t particularly care for Bill Barnhart and they let him know it with boos and taunts. Barnhart ignores them as he is here to wrestle and not cater to the fans. Even as the fans yell louder at him and throw trash at him he ignores them. When Barnhart arrives at the ringside area he bends down and grabs the leash of Iris and hands it to a ringside assistant who holds onto the leash and keeps Iris at ringside to watch Bill’s match. Barnhart gives Iris a kiss on the nose and then he climbs the ring steps to the ring apron. Bill then walks along the ring apron and when he reaches the middle of the ropes he ducks through the ropes into the ring. He walks around the ring playing the crowd but that only incites them to boo him more. Barnhart again ignores the rude fans as he backs into a corner to await the start of his match while watching Katie Steward who is covering her face looking disgusted at the sight of both Bill and his pet Bulldog at ringside…

Phillips: “And their opponent…”

Red and white lights begin to flash wildly when the opening to “Smooth Criminal (Violin Instrumental)” by David Garrett begins to play over the P.A System. The SCW fans rise to their feet casting their eyes to the stage where the curtains part. A sudden pause befalls the arena until a man walks out with a confident swagger in his step, Ikiro Yoshida. He wears his trademark red eye patch with a gold dragon emblazoned onto it along with his long-sleeved jacket. The SCW Television Championship is around his waist as is the SCW interim United States Championship. A smirk appears on the Japanese superstar’s lips before he spins around once and drops down to one knee, both his arms outstretched while he looks down at the ground…

Phillips: “From Fukushima prefecture, Japan, he is the interim SCW United States Champion and the SCW Television Champion, IKIRO YOSHIDA!”

The crowd cheers. Ikiro looks around as he then leaps up to his feet and heads to the ring. The fans pop for the Japanese superstar, he leaps back up onto his feet and reaches and pat’s both championship across his waist. He then begins walking down towards the ring with that same confident swagger from before. Ikiro quickly runs to the ring and slides in, following that up with a quicker roll to a knee. He then removes and holds up both titles and looks around before bowing to the crowd and both his opponents. The crowd continues to cheer for him. Once removing his jacket, he hands it to the ring crew and begins to stretch before the bell. The referee takes the SCW Television Championship and holds it over his head. Jason Phillips takes the US Title as the SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Huge reaction for Ikiro, tonight marks his third defence of the TV Championship, Victory would put him in a unique crowd of people.”

Knots: “It would, but while he is on cloud nine right now. Tonight, I have that feeling his bubble is going to burst.”

Sharper: “Listen to this crowd, they are ready for this as am I and most certainly you Jonathan.”

Knots: “It isn’t Kennedy defending so I have no reason to be nervous!”

The bell sounds and right off the bat all three superstars stay in their respective corners. Katie looks across at Bill Barnhart and turns her nose up at him, Ikiro looks across the ring at Katie. Outside the ring TJ Johnson is looking at Iris weirded out because Iris is sat down and licking herself. Back inside the ring Katie yells to both men to go at it themselves. Ikiro decides to move towards the Goddess however but Bill intercepts with a running shoulder block that takes the TV Champion down to the canvas. Immediately he begins to stomp away at the shoulder of Yoshida, the same one he had worked on last year. Katie watches from her corner biding her time…

Sharper: “And Just like that Barnhart goes right for Yoshida, Katie waiting in the wings for a moment.”

Bill drops and elbow across the chest of the champion, he pushes himself up only to drop another. Katie makes a move forward but quickly jukes back when Bill stands to his feet and looks across the ring at the goddess. He points at her and yells something like “Stay out of my way” and begins to stomp the chest of Ikiro again before pulling him up and sending him into the opposite corner. The tenacious Bill Barnhart runs across the ring and connects with a splash in the corner on Ikiro. He turns and runs across the ring and aims for Katie who side steps him and he crashes into the corner turnbuckles. The Goddess quickly pulls his singlet and rolls him up.

1… KICK OUT BY BARNHART!

Katie quickly steps away and cringes at the sweat off Barnhart, Bill rolls to his feet and makes a beeline for Katie but Ikiro Yoshida sprints out of the corner and intercepts the Bulldog with a forearm smash. Bill stumbles into the corner where Ikiro starts to unload a flurry of strike sin the corner. The crowd begin rally behind the TV champion which only seems to motivate him more. Ikiro mounts the second rope and starts to hammer away at Bill, the crowd counting along with him but the Bulldog puts his arms between Yoshida’s legs placing him on his shoulders and starts to walk out before slamming him into the canvas with a sit out powerbomb.

Sharper: “Yoshida left himself open there, the powerbomb no matter which height is going to knock the wind out of you.”

Knots: “I told you Barnhart was the dark horse in this.”

Billy immediately pins the legs with his and the referee drops for the count.

1… NO KATIE BREAKS IT UP.

Steward had hit the ropes moments prior and hit a basement dropkick into the face of Bill Barnhart who now rolls away to the apron while the Goddess focuses her attention on Ikiro Yoshida. Katie mounts the TV champion and begins to fire away with strikes which he tries to block to little effect. Katie grabs hold of his head and screams loudly at him and quickly covers.

1… NO KICK OUT BY YOSHIDA!

Katie immediately yells at the ref to count fast. Ikiro rolls away and starts to get to his feet. The Goddess walks over and clubs his back, she hits him again and again before sending him across the ring with an Irish whip, the TV champion hits the ropes and runs back only to get caught by a running Lariat from the side by Bill Barnhart! He is seething now and immediately looks at Katie who tries to run but he grabs hold of her hair. The referee tells him to let go but a stiff shot sends Katie down to the canvas. He pulls he up quickly enough and sends her to the ropes and lifts her up into the air for a moment before escorting her down with a flap jack to a roar from the crowd. Ikiro has rolled to the apron now.

Sharper: “The Champion hasn’t had much invested in this match so far. It’s been all Barnhart and Steward.”

Knots: “The weekly bookings, they are taking their tolls on Yoshida he isn’t used to that.”

Bill rolls Steward onto her back and hooks the legs of the Goddess of Desire…

1… KICKOUT BY STEWARD!!

The fans roar, Bill sits up and gets to his feet first. He pulls Steward up to her feet. Bill looks for a right hand but a clubbing blow from the back by Yoshida interrupts him. All three stands in a triangle with Yoshida delivering a stiff chop to the chest of Barnhart! The crowd “Wooo’s” along with it and they do so again when Ikiro connects with another only this time it is to Katie Steward! The TV Champion lets off a scream of frustration and begins a flurry of chops to both Bill Barnhart and Katie Steward at the same time with both arms. The fans getting louder and louder the faster the chops progress. Eventually Ikiro slows down and draws to a stop. But Katie and Bill stagger. Yoshida however spins through and hits a discus clothesline taking Katie off her feet. She rolls to the apron and exits the ring to the floor while Yoshida hits another Discus clothesline on Bill Barnhart and covers.

2… KICK OUT BY BARNHART!!

The crowd sighs, but all attention is shifted from the ring to outside where Katie is on her hands and knees recovering from the chops. It’s here we see the Goddess of Desire look up and is almost face to face with Iris the Bulldog… The tenacious pup of Barnhart licks its lips and begins to bark furiously at Katie making a nuisance of itself for the ring crew holding the leash. She continues to bark pulling at her lead but that all changes when Katie unleashes a scream at the dog’s direction and Iris quickly spins on her hind legs and bolts away pulling the ring crew with her trying to escape Stewards terrifying shrill.

Knots: “That’s right run away, Katie has a scream like a banshee queen.”

Sharper: “Maybe so, but she should focus on this match not Bill Barnhart’s dog, Irish.”

In the ring Ikiro has dragged Bill Barnhart to the corner and drove a knee into his gut, he hits another before pushing Bill back into the corner and grabbing one leg and resting over the second rope. From there he lifts Bill’s other leg to the side and steps away and looks at Bill with the devil in his eye. It’ is then the TV Champion takes a deep breath and yells…

Yoshida: “GOODNESS GRACIOUS GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!!”

Yoshida then runs at Barnhart who wants him to stop but to no avail as he kicks the second turnbuckle pad which gets a loud roar along with “ooohs” from the SCW fans. Yoshida pulls Bill out of the corner and drops him to his back and covers once again…

2… NO BROKEN UP BY KATIE!

Katie having rolled back into the ring moments earlier waited. She pushes Ikiro out of the ring and convers Barnhart herself now.

2… NO! KICK OUT BY BARNHART!

Katie screams and once again covers him…

1…

2… NO! YOSHIDA BREAKS IT UP!!

Ikiro had climbed onto the apron and dived through the middle ropes to break up the cover from Steward. Katie rolls away first with Yoshida getting to his feet a quick second. Bill continues to lay there holding his groin but Ikiro focuses on him with a stomp. He then starts to pull Bill to his feet and connects with a right hand sending him into the ropes. Taking a step forward he is caught Yoshida is caught by the most beautiful superkick ever from Katie Steward. The TV Champion falling into the corner slumped. The crowd boos as Steward focuses on Barnhart and kicks him in the stomach doubling him over. From there she hits the Hair flip DDT with ferocity.

Sharper: “Great back and forth, Katie taking charge now though with that vicious DDT, that could well do it.”

Knots: “New TV Champ right here!”

Katie covers as TJ jumps up and down excitedly for his Goddess.

2… NO!! YOSHIDA BREAKS IT UP AGAIN!!

Sharper: “The Champion saving the day, the fight continues in this hotly contested Television championship match.”

Katie rolls over and gets to her feet and tries to compose herself, but she can’t, she lets out another scream in anger and turns to face the TV Champion... But Ikiro already on his feet runs across the ring and hits a Yakuza having played Rock, Paper, Scissors with an unconscious Bill Barnhart. Katie goes down, Ikiro covers.

2… NO KICK OUT BY STEWARD!

Rolling away the Television champion rests on his knees, all three have gone to the races but the Champion has taken the brunt of it all. Bill begins to stir which gets Ikiro’s attention. Katie does the same, but Yoshida has all eyes locked onto Barnhart who staggers to his feet. Ikiro drops to a knee and drives his shoulder into the back of Bills leg dropping him to a knee he then quickly after that applies the Dragon Sleeper submission to a roar from the SCW fans.

Sharper: “Chasing the Dragon! He has it synched in tightly!!”

Knots: “Oh wow he isn’t going to tap, he can’t!”

The SCW fans are all starting to chant Tap while Ikiro Screams at the top of his lungs. The referee is checking intently. It looks like Barnhart is fading but he waves his arms, but Katie runs across and stomps Ikiro in the face once, but he doesn’t let go he looks at Katie and holds the move tighter. She begins to stomp more and more on Ikiro, but he refuses to let go and Bill who fought valiantly against cannot help himself but proceeds to tap the arm of Ikiro to a huge roar from the SCW fans!!

Sharper: “HE DID IT, HE TAPPED OUT BILL BARNHART!”

Knots: “I DON’T BELIEVE IT!”

The bell sounds and immediately Ikiro releases the hold, Katie raises her arms in the air to boos from the fans, they quickly change to cheers when the referee tells her she didn’t win, Ikiro did. Katie cannot believe it, she looks at Ikiro who rolls to his feet with a smile. She quickly exits the ring however and is trying to be calmed down by TJ Johnson. The referee however now takes both the Interim US Championship and the TV Championship and hands them both to Ikiro Yoshida who raises them aloft to the crowd.

Sharper: “Unbelievable match up, all three gave their all but on this night Ikiro Yoshida retains and keeps his streak going here in SCW. Three title defences now against some tough opposition to date. Impressive.”

Knots: “He robbed Katie of her Supreme Champion title. The Goddess will not be pleased.”

Yoshida looks at the titles in his hands and exits the ring next placing them both over his shoulders, the camera at ringside catches a closeup with the TV Champion winking towards and smirks as he begins to walk up the ramp. Inside the ring we see Bill holding his throat as Iris is shown into the ring and is wagging her butt excitedly as she tries to lick him better.

We then cut away to see a shot of a desert scene. The camera cuts back as we see Giovanni Aries meditating around a bonfire. We see Sam with him and for some reason Leviticus. Giovanni smiles as he then starts to speak, eyes still closed.

 

Giovanni: “I have removed the Judas…and I have destroyed him. But my work is not done….”

 

Giovanni pauses for a moment.

 

Giovanni: “It was just the first step. A challenge…the first skirmish….the Wonderland still must be protected and it will be just that when I capture the flame….and use it to extinguish what is left of the Lizard Kingdom…”

 

Giovanni chuckles a bit.

 

Giovanni: “And all who try to stop me…I will remove them from my path. All those who wish to join…do so now…because if not…let what I did to the Judas be your clarification of what awaits!”

 

Giovanni chuckles again as he then takes a deep breath as the scene slowly fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

We return as we see David Helms on camera as he just takes a seat in his office and lets out a sigh. A few moments pass before there is a knock at the door. He then looks up.

 

David: “Come on in.”

 

A few moments pass and we then see Sam Raine walking into the room. The crowd cheers.

 

David: “Sam…welcome back.”

 

Sam: “I wasn’t sure if that was going to be the case, given my history with your wife.”

 

David: “You’re under contract. You’re a good competitor. That’s all that matters to me. I’m trying to my best.”

 

Sam: “Sorry if I’m hesitant to fully buy that. But regardless…I’m back. I want to be booked. And next week I’d like a match.”

 

David pauses for a moment.

 

David: “I think I can arrange that.”

 

The crowd cheers as we then cut to ringside.

 

We then open up at ringside.

 

Sharper: “Sam Raine returning. Taking a month off to recharge.”

 

Knots: “So who is she going to face?”

 

Sharper: “We’ll find out next week. She’ll be in action. But we know that Donovan KAyl will challenge Kennedy Street at Taking Hold of the Flame. That was confirmed earlier tonight, and last week with Bree failing to win the World Title. And Kennedy and Donovan sat down with our crew earlier today and here are their comments.”

 

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We open up with a shot of Syren, Ravyn Taylor, CHBK and David Helms in the Commissioner’s office

 

Ravyn: “There’s a simple corrective then…Taking Hold of the Flame. You just named a Tag Team Championship match. Name the World Championship match. Syren faces the champion that night.”

 

Helms: “I can’t.”

 

Syren: “Or you won’t.”

 

Helms: “I can’t. Because someone has cashed in their Trios Tournament contract.”

   

Syren: “What?! Who?”

 

Helms: “Donovan Kayl. And he will challenge for the World Title that night.”

 

We then see a shot of Kennedy Street smiling in the ring before we cut to see Donovan Kayl seated in a chair, the camera off on an angle.

 

Kayl: “Why did I do it? Simple. Two reasons. One for me…okay, both for me. One at least is for Kennedy too. That was to force Syren, Ravyn Taylor and CHBK to have to deal with some of the consequences of what they did. They put Kennedy through the ringer and Kennedy fought right back.”

 

We then cut to a shot of Kennedy in a similar set.

 

Kennedy: “Trust me, that was beautiful. I have no problem giving them a rematch, but making them squirm. That’s just beautiful.”

 

We cut back to Kayl.

 

Kayl: “They can have this elaborate scheme. I didn’t have to do that much here. Just taking advantage of the opportunity I earned. They can wait for a bit. As for the second reason – who wouldn’t want to be World Champion heading into Rise to Greatness? Not just that, but in this case, I get to face someone I had a hand in training.”

 

We cut to a shot of Kennedy Street again.

 

Kennedy: “Yeah…it’ll be special. Not only was Donovan Kayl my trainer and my manager for a time. He’s one of the few that saw through everything and while he’s not had the success here in SCW. I know, honey, that he could end my title reign like that.”

 

Kayl: “Everyone wants to be the World Champion. But while we’ve had these contests of personal hatred, with all of the scheming around…they can all do that in the battle royal and we’ll see who can come out at the end of that match with their ticket punched for Rise to Greatness. This match, it’s about one thing…can the teacher beat the student or can the student beat the teacher with the most coveted championship in the sport on the line?”

 

Kennedy: “He’s always been someone there to set me straight. Even when I was insufferable in previous years, he never lost faith.”

 

We see a shot of Kennedy Street with Alex Young, Ethan von Aaron and Alana Starr from 2013.

 

Kayl: “She’s always been that young lady I trained back in 2010 and she bought into the hype. That’s why this time, when she’s champion, she’s acting like it. Even when we didn’t see eye to eye…sometimes because of me. Sometimes because of her. That woman was always there.”

 

Kennedy: “We’ve had wars and the only solace here is that there’s no teaching of lessons. There’s no hatred. There’s no knocking sense into things. For once, we’re just competing. Two people fighting for the World Title.”

 

We see a shot of Kennedy and Donovan Kayl training back in 2010.

 

Kennedy: “Without Donovan, I wouldn’t have been a champion when I was before coming to SCW. He made me a champion.”

 

We see a shot of Kennedy Street holding a World Title, not SCW, before we see Donovan Kayl hugging her backstage with Chloe, Kayl’s wife, also in the shot.

 

Kayl: “Even when we weren’t on the same side. We knew the other had the best interests of each other at heart. There was always a trust there.”

 

Kennedy: “And without Donovan, I wouldn’t have come to SCW. I wouldn’t have even considered it.”

 

Kayl: “That’s what I’m looking forward to this. Yes…there’s the backdrop with Syren and Dark Fantasy. This match though…it’s her and I. We can compete and see who on June 3 is the best.”

 

Kennedy: “It’s like fighting an older brother. He’s been that to me and on top of that, you can see it in my style. I even borrowed the Point Blank. Donovan Kayl is a part of who I am as a wrestler and it shows and that, sure….sure that makes me nervous. He knows half of what I’ll do just as I’m figuring it out.”

 

We see a shot of Donovan Kayl hitting CHBK with the Point Blank before seeing a still of Kennedy hitting someone with the Point Blank at a house show. This is followed by a shot of Donovan Kayl and Kennedy Street embracing in celebration after Kennedy won the World Title.

 

Kayl: “I was proud of her. Now, I’ll see if I’m proud of her…or proud of myself. It’s the one title I think I should have had. I should have been able to win. I’m a multiple time World Champion elsewhere. This is my albatross.”

 

Kennedy: “I know he’ll come at me. Three years ago, I’d have complained…two years even. Now…it’s competition.”

 

Voice: “How do you think she’ll react if you win?”

 

Kayl: “Two years ago, I’d be dealing with Bitchy Keenie…In a few weeks, I expect her to be frustrated, maybe even angry. But by the time she’s showered, gotten dressed and is heading to the company hotel, I know we’ll celebrate in the hotel bar with a drink, wishing all of the best. And whenever I can arrange it, she’ll get her rematch. Just as I plan to do the same if she beats me at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

 

Voice: “What would it mean for you to beat Donovan?”

 

Kennedy takes a moment.

 

Kennedy: “To finally have a match, for the World Title, there’s no negative drama. We’re at a point where both of us are where we need to be. For the World Title…in Supreme Championship Wrestling….”

 

Kennedy pauses again.

 

Kennedy: “After all of the drama we see in SCW, to just focus on the wrestling, and for me, that sounds ridiculous after everything I’ve done, willingly, demonstrations in strip clubs, putting people through a gauntlet. To win this match against Donovan Kayl would be everything. Beating Syren was great. That she had coming. But this…this will make clear to me that I’m where I want to be.”

 

Voice: “And if you lose?”

 

Kennedy pauses.

 

Kennedy: “Then Monday morning I’ll be at his house, with my training gear, and I’m going to figure out how to get back to the top.”

 

We cut back to Kayl.

 

Kayl: “She’s at the top of the mountain where she should be. It’s odd that I want to push her off…only a little bit.”

 

Kayl chuckles.

 

Kayl: “No BS. No grand plans. No drama. Except for who is the better wrestler. Novel, huh?”

 

We then see a shot of Kayl defeating Torsten Voigt with the Point Blank. We see him celebrating. We then see a shot of Donovan Kayl holding one of his previous World Titles from before coming to SCW. We then see a shot of Kayl and Kennedy standing off before coming to SCW and then showing the two of them hugging backstage at an SCW event as the scene fades to black.

We open up back at ringside to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots at the announce table.

 

Sharper: “Donovan Kayl and Kennedy Street have a long history. Been friends and as Kennedy Street mentioned, she sees him as a protective brother.”

 

Knots: “Let me tell you this. Kennedy Street is right now running at a different gear. I can personally tell you how much she’s been looking forward to this match. After she beat Bree Mason last week, she was in tears because she wanted to face her mentor for the World Title. She sees it as a way to repay him for all of his support, but don’t mistake that for someone who isn’t going to be looking to get to Rise to Greatness. She didn’t say it there, but trust me on this one. She wants to main event Rise to Greatness. She wants to get that record of 2013, and all she did there…all she did with Ace…all of that in the past and prove that she’s at the top. She wants to win and she’s going to what she needs to in there. Respect or not.”

 

Sharper: “And Donovan Kayl, a symbol of integrity for years. He has proven in the last year that he may be having a resurgence at this late point in his career. He’s hitting forty folks. But that means he knows he may not have many more of these shots left. This is personal, but not of hatred or for revenge. This is two people with deep respect for each other and they’ll clash in two and a half weeks at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

We then open up backstage to see Jessica Winters standing by with Alexis Quinne at the SCW interview area.

 

Jessica: “Jessica Winters here and Alexis, we are back in the Golden State. Last time you were here, you called out Xander Valentine and told him you’d meet him in Japan. Well after Xander took out a number of competitors in that battle royal that led Syren to get number forty, you came out and spewed a green mist in his eyes, playing off your deep respect for Japanese culture.”

 

Alexis: “And I’d do it again. It’s easy for him to come out and attack everyone while they’re not expecting it. Exactly as he did to me. All I did was give him a taste of his own medicine and I’m not even half his size. And now that we’re back in Cali, I was hoping that he’d show up and have something to say to me tonight. I already know he’s here. We saw him earlier and –“

 

Jessica turns as Alexis turns and smirks.

 

Jessica: “Xander…”

 

The camera turns as we see Xander Valentine looking at Alexis and Jessica and smirking.

 

Xander: “Go on. Say it. To my face.”

 

Alexis: “Do you have a set?”

 

Xander: “Here.”

 

Xander then puts his arms around his back and leans forward. Quinne shrugs and immediately blasts him with a hard right. He turns back and Alexis goes in and nails him again and again. The crowd roars as Jessica backs up. Quinne then kicks him in the ribs and then jumps up onto his shoulder and starts to bite his forehead. Xander fights her off a bit.

 

Sharper: “Alexis is biting Xander!”

 

Knots: “Doing anything to cause damage!”

 

Alexis keeps biting and cuffs him with a forearm before Xander just turns and throws her down onto the concrete. She winces and rolls over and Xander then stands up and stretches out his neck before grabbing Alexis as she stirs and drags her up before turning and hip throwing her into the back of the interview set, causing it fall back and Alexis to fall back with it before sliding to the ground. She rolls over and Xander then stands over her. We then see a couple of officials running over and going to stop him. James Evans and Chris Oliver are also there.

 

Xander: “So…want to still fight?”

 

Xander then smirks as he backs up as Alexis remains down in pain. Officials check on her as we slowly fade to black.

Josh Woodrum vs. The Gothfather

 

Phillips: Our next match is between Gothfather and Josh Woodrum. It is a Standard Rules with a win by pinfall, submission, count out, or one wrestler unable to continue in the match.

Sharper: This is one mean start for Josh Woodrum here in Supreme Championship Wrestling. First he had to debut against his long-time enemy Bill Barnhart and now in his second match he has to face his other long-time enemy Gothfather.

Knots: Considering how much damage Woodrum sustained two weeks ago I’m hoping he will be able to make it to the ring and make a good showing. He seems to be a tough wrestler but to fully heal from the injuries in two weeks seems to ask a lot.

Sharper: Not to mention last week at Breakdown we saw Gothfather and Bill Barnhart brutally attack Josh Woodrum backstage. It would appear that Barnhart and Gothfather have teamed up and put their feud behind them to work together to clean house in the Federation.

Knots: The question remaining to be answered is whether Woodrum was intimidated, or was he made more aggressive, due the two-on-one attack by Barnhart and Gothfather last week?

The lights in the arena go out and the arena goes black as the guitar solo for the Godfather tune starts to play. The giant Tron screen turns red before the name of the Gothfather emerges on the screen written in white. From the backstage area Gothfather emerges through the partition as he walks slowly across the landing and down the ramp towards the ring. He is dressed in a mafia suit and gloves on his hands. Gothfather slowly walks halfway down the ramp before stopping to glare at the crowd. After staring at them for a moment Gothfather and spits on them which causes a loud uproar of disapproval from the crowd. Gothfather then turns his attention towards the ring. He walks to the ring, climbs the ring steps, ducks through the ropes, and he walks once around the ring before settling back into a corner to await the arrival of Josh Woodrum.

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome the arrival into the ring, he hails from Utrecht in the Netherlands, and he stands in at 6 feet 4 inches and 235 pounds, he is the GOTHFATHER!!!

He could care less what the fans think as he just wants to get his hands on Woodrum. The fans quiet down once they hear "Spoilin' For A Fight" by AC/DC hit the speakers. The arena darkens as orange strobe lights flash throughout the arena and the backstage partition curtain parts and out walks Josh Woodrum, who is attended by Amanda Banxxx, and Josh is wearing his normal ring gear and a black and orange "Mister Impressive" T-shirt. The crowd gets loud in their approval and cheers for Woodrum. Josh walks across the landing and stops at the top of the ramp. He looks around and then he holds both arms up in the ROCK ON hand sign and pyros erupt behind him and this drives the fans more in favor of Josh. There is a commotion from the backstage area as Bill Barnhart runs out on the landing causing an interruption to Woodrum’s entrance. The two get into a heated exchange of words and then they get into a shoving match. They are going back and forth until Barnhart lands a punch to the jaw of Woodrum.

Sharper: This might lead to a disqualification of Gothfather for interference in the match.

Knots: Hard to call an interference in the match when they match hasn’t officially started.

Josh returns the punch and the two are nose-to-nose jawing at each other and issuing challenges. While Barnhart is hard into his argument with Woodrum Amanda makes a run toward the two and with Bill’s back to her she makes a slide on her knees and she comes to a stop directly behind Barnhart. Amanda grasps her hands together, stretches out her arms, and bring her arms up hard into Barnhart’s groin. Bill drops to his knees while grabbing his crotch and moaning.

Sharper: Good thing Barnhart’s match was earlier in the evening otherwise he would be walking into his match with damaged family jewels.

Knots: This isn’t the first time Barnhart has received a low blow and won’t be his last. He’s survived them before. He has cajones of steel.

Sharper: Maybe so but Amanda Banxxx just jellied them up for Barnhart.

Josh and Amanda are laughing at the situation with Barnhart until they see Iris, Bill Barnhart’s English Bulldog, running out from the backstage area snarling and growling at Josh and Amanda. Seeing Iris coming the two take off down the ramp and quickly arrive at the ring. Iris stops to tend to Daddy Bill and she is reaching up and licking his face. Bill stands up and limps to the backstage area. When Josh and Amanda arrive at ringside Josh pulls himself up onto the ring apron and then jumps over the ropes and into the ring while Amanda takes a chair at ringside. Woodrum walks to the center of the ring and with great flourish rips off his shirt. He then walks over to the ropes and tosses the remains into the crowd and a lucky fan catches the souvenir. Josh then cups his hand to his ear to play the crowd and encourage them to give him louder approval, hitting all four sides of the ring, before striking a double bicep pose in the center of the ring. Woodrum climbs the nearest turnbuckle, he flashes another "rock on" hand sign and steps down as his music fades. Woodrum turns around to face Gothfather who is waiting for him on the opposite side of the ring.

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome the next competitor in this math, he hails from Lexington, Kentucky, and he stands in at 6 feet 5 inches and 270 pounds, he is known as MISTER IMPRESSIVE, give a great San Diego welcome to JOSH WOODRUM!!!

Sharper: I’m wondering why Bill Barnhart came out to interrupt Josh Woodrum’s entrance?

Knots: The two have an eight year feud and it is still going. I’m sure Barnhart did it as a psychological thing to get Josh distracted from his match with Gothfather. After all it appears Barnhart and Gothfather have made amends to their feud and have teamed together so of course any advantage is a welcome advantage.

Sharper: I believe the deciding factor in this match will be how much they hate each other and who has the most aggression to act out upon the other.

Knots: If I was a wrestler I would try to take advantage of the previous injuries!

The Referee calls the two wrestlers to join them in the middle of the ring. As the two get close to each other Gothfather starts going off on Woodrum. Josh jaws back. Gothfather rolls his eyes and then he shoves his finger into Woodrum’s face while telling him he is going to own him in this match. The Referee separates the two, inspects them for foreign objects, and he orders them to return to their corner and not to come out until the bell rings to officially start the match.

Sharper: I think the fans are out for blood in this match.

Knots: I believe Woodrum and Gothfather are also.

The Timekeeper rings the bell and this match is underway. Gothfather and Woodrum lock up in the middle of the ring. Woodrum uses his weight to maneuver Gothfather back into a corner where the Referee quickly runs in to demand a break. Josh makes a clean break much to the delight of the fans. The two lock up again and this time it is Gothfather who gets Woodrum into the corner. Again the Referee is quick to enter the corner and demand a break. Woodrum raises his arms in the air as a sign of wanting a clean break. Gothfather refuses to break so the Referee starts a count on him.

Three...
Four...

Gothfather quickly breaks and then he lays into Woodrum with several hard fists to the head and face. The Referee steps between the two and orders Gothfather to step back to allow Josh to come out of the corner. Although he’s not ready to back down Gothfather does what the Referee asks by taking a few steps back. Woodrum lowers his arms and then he turns to the crowd to get their disapproval of Gothfather punching him on the break. Then Josh climbs the ropes in the corner and he leans out over the corner facing the crowd and he cups his hand to his ear to encourage them to cheer him on. The cheers of the fans are deafening and Josh is getting pumped up by their support. Gothfather has had enough of this showboating so he starts taunting Woodrum. Josh turns around while still standing on the corner ropes and he is facing Gothfather. As Gothfather approaches the corner Woodrum leaps off the ropes to attempt what looks like a body hit on Gothfather. As Josh is in the air Gothfather positions himself to catch Woodrum on the fly which he does but the momentum of Woodrum hitting him causes both wrestlers to tumble to the mat. When they come to a stop it is Woodrum who is on top of Gothfather and the Referee dives into position to make a count on the attempted pin attempt.

Two...

Gothfather gets his shoulder up to break the count. Both wrestlers get to their feet and we can tell Gothfather is not happy about what just happened. Gothfather starts to walk around the ring and when he passes the side of the ring where Amanda is sitting at ringside he makes sure to hurl a few insults her way plus a very obvious middle-finger gesture. Amanda is livid but she knows better than to interfere in the match.

Knots: Gothfather continues the intimidation tactics.

Sharper: Fortunately Amanda didn’t fall for it and get reprimanded for interference in the match. Josh also held back which is the mark of a wrestler who knows what’s going on the match at all times.

Gothfather returns his attention to Josh Woodrum who lands a hard boot to the face of Gothfather. When Woodrum comes at him with another boot to the face Gothfather grabs the leg of Woodrum and while he is holding his leg he is threatening to kick Josh in the groin. The Referee steps in with a warning but Gothfather doesn’t land the groin shot. Instead of that he swings Woodrum’s leg back and forth and then he whips the leg hard which causes Josh to spin around like a ballet dancer. When Woodrum stops spinning Gothfather kicks him in the leg which drops Woodrum to the mat. Gothfather quickly places Josh into a single-leg Boston Crab applying extreme pressure on the leg he just kicked. The Referee steps in to ask Woodrum if he wants to submit and he refuses to the match continues. Josh is trying to drag himself to the ropes for a break but when he is about to reach the ropes Gothfather lets go of the single-leg Boston Crab and drags Woodrum away from the ropes. Gothfather again applies the single-leg Boston Crab and again Woodrum drags himself toward the ropes. This time he manages to grab the ropes so the Referee orders Gothfather to break and he does. But the moment Gothfather breaks the hold he stomps hard on the injured leg of Woodrum several times but he stops then the Referee begins a count on him for the break.

Sharper: I knew that Bill Barnhart had issues with Josh Woodrum but I didn’t realize Gothfather had the same level of issues with him. I feel bad they have been so brutal on Josh.

Knots: That’s part of the sport of wrestling. Just because you retire from one wrestling federation and join another doesn’t mean your feuds don’t follow you.

Josh Woodrum stands up by pulling himself up using the ropes. Gothfather sees Woodrum leaning on the ropes so he charges him for a clothesline to knock Josh out of the ring. Woodrum drops down at the last moment causing Gothfather to miss the clothesline and it is Gothfather who flies over the ropes to the arena floor. Josh starts playing the crowd and posing by flexing his muscles and cupping his hand to his ear to encourage the fans to cheer louder. The Referee begins a count on Gothfather who is on the arena floor.

Two...

Suddenly there is a commotion at the entrance area and we see Bill Barnhart standing at the top of the ramp with a mic in his hand. He starts hurling insults and challenges to Josh and Amanda. Of course Amanda Banxxx is concerned there is about to be another attack but Barnhart doesn’t do that as he knows the Referee will call for a disqualification due to interference.

Four...

Barnhart continues his threats and challenges and this causes Woodrum to walk over to the side of the ring where the entrance ramp, and Amanda, are located. Josh is motioning to Barnhart to come down to the ring and take the fight to him. Bill Barnhart just grins at Woodrum and laughs at him.

Five...
Six...

Woodrum is furious that Barnhart would get involved in his match so he gets more animated in his demand that Barnhart bring it down to the ring to get it on with him. While Woodrum is arguing with Barnhart we see Gothfather get back into the ring to break the Referee’s count. He walks up behind Woodrum but Josh and Amanda don’t notice him because they are focused on Bill Barnhart at the top of the entrance ramp. Gothfather walks up behind Woodrum and he taps him on the shoulder. Thinking it is the Referee Woodrum waves him off. Gothfather again taps him on the shoulder again but this time hard enough to irritate Woodrum and Josh spins around thinking he is about to yell at the Referee. Gothfather wastes no time in landing several forearm smashes to Woodrum. He then drags Josh by the arm to the middle of the ring where he then whips Woodrum into a corner where he follows him into the corner landing a shoulder to Woodrum’s body. Gothfather drags Woodrum out of the corner and delivers a DDT on him. Gothfather stands up and drags Woodrum to his feet. He then quickly applies his Code Of Silence Asuka Lock Cross-Face Chicken Wing submission hold. Woodrum is desperately trying to get out of the submission hold but Gothfather has it locked in tightly. When the Referee steps in to ask Woodrum if he wants to submit he mutters YES and the Referee calls for the bell to end the match and he orders Gothfather to release the hold which he does. Gothfather walks to the side of the ring to await the announcement of the decision in this match.

Phillips: Here is your winner of this match, by submission, GOTHFATHER!!!

Sharper: I’m not sure how much Barnhart’s appearance during this match had an impact.

Knots: It causes a minor distraction on the part of Woodrum but the way I saw the match Gothfather was in full-out vicious mode and I believe he would have won the match anyway.

The Referee raises the hand of Gothfather for the win which causes the crowd to erupt in such a loud negative reaction it is hard to hear yourself think. Gothfather exits the ring and snarls at Amanda Banxxx as he passes her to walk up the ramp. When he gets to the top of the ramp he greets Bill Barnhart and they shake hands before disappearing together into the backstage area. When we return our attention to the ring we see Amanda helping Josh to exit the ring. It appears Woodrum is okay as the two walk up the ramp to the cheers from the crowd.

 

“Immortals” by Fall Out Boy starts to play. The Breakodwn logo comes up on the screen. We then see Josh Hudson vs. Selena Frost come up on the screen.

 

Sharper: “Main event time. Been an interesting night for Selena and a noteworthy one for Josh Hudson. Selena Frost faces Josh Hudson, next, here on Breakdown!”

 

The scene fades to black.

Selena Frost vs. Josh Hudson

 

"BELIEVE IT!"

At the sound of the familiar call, the true-believers are immediately on their feet in cheers as "What I Believe" by Skillet brings forth a barrage purple-blue lights in the design of snowflakes across the arena. From the back, out walks The Snow Queen, herself, Selena Frost. With a twirl amongst the lights and snowflakes, Frost slowly strolls down the ramp, her platinum-white hair in a long-braid swishing this way and that as the lights bounce off the ice-shard cape she wears.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall for TV time remaining and is your main event of the evening. On her way to the ring, from Nome, Alaska, she is the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

Looking around the arena, Selena smiles at the voice of her true-believers before sliding into the ring. Inside, the Winter Diamond is quickly on her feet, stepping into the center of the ring as all the snowflake-lights rush to form a large blue-white snowflake-shaped light over Selena. Raising her arms, the Defier of Worlds looks up at the lights before they return to normal. With a smile, Selena removes her ice-shard cape, folding it and placing it aside before returning her attention to the ring.

 

Sharper: “Selena Frost calling out Regan last week. She wants nothing to do with Selena. But Helms putting her up against Josh Hudson.”

 

Knots: “Are we sure the Gopher looking dimwit isn’t the real challenge? Perhaps the final form?”

 

Sharper: “Sometimes I wonder about you.”

 

“Fall Into Sleep" begins to filter through the sound system and out from the back steps none other than Josh Hudson. He stops atop the entrance ramp, and looks out into the crowd and shakes his head, before heading down to the ring.

 

Phillips: “And her opponent, representing Past Present Future, from New York City, he is Josh Hudson!”

 

He embraces the negative reaction with outstretched arms before walking down the ramp with a smirk on his face. He continues to slowly make his way to the ring, a look of determination on his face as he slides underneath the ropes. He climbs to the top rope and stares out into the crowd, smirking, before dropping down and sitting against the turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin.

 

Sharper: “Regan Street, Josh Hudson and Mikaela Street have been busy. They came out to attack Justin Davis and help AJ Helms. We haven’t seen AJ since then. Then targeting Jason Helms a bit.”

 

Knots: “Yeah, but now the coup de grace…taking out Selena Frost!”

 

Sharper: “And she’s been hinting that she plans to use her Trios Tournament contract to directly annoy Past Present Future and two weeks ago, she made it sound like she’s going to use it for the title shot at Rise to Greatness.”

 

The bell sounds. Hudson smirks as Selena watches him. Hudson then walks forward and lunges and Selena ducks under and runs into the ropes. Hudson goes to grab her, but Selena slides underneath. She then rolls to the floor. Hudson then storms towards the ropes and Selena lunges and nails him with a hard right, knocking him back. She rolls into the ring and kicks him in the ribs. She hits a forearm shot and then chops him. The crowd woos. She kicks him again and Hudson lunges for a clothesline. Selena ducks and Hudson turns around and Selena hits a dropkick. Hudson hits the mat. Selena goes for the pin.

Hudson pushes her off. Both start to get up and Selena kicks Hudson in the chest and he staggers back. Selena walks after him and Hudson grabs her arm and slams it into the top rope. She pulls back and Hudson wrenches the arm and then pulls her down with an armbreaker DDT. She rolls over.

 

Sharper: “Hudson thinking fast and going for the arm!”

 

Knots: “Immediately going for it. Using the ropes and then just making her pay. Not going to get good grip after that.”

 

Selena stirs and starts to get up and Hudson nails her with a hard right, knocking her down. Selena gets up and Hudson hits a knee to the ribs. He pushes her into the ropes and fires her across. She bounces off and Hudson elbows her in the jaw. Selena rolls over, holding her jaw. She starts to get up and Hudson grabs her and pulls her up before hooking her up and hitting a vertical suplex. He floats over for the pin.

Selena kicks out. Hudson grabs her by the hair and drags her up. He then scoops her up and slams her down. Selena winces and turns before Hudson drags her up and whips her into the corner. Hudson walks after her and Selena kicks him in the ribs and then again and Hudson lunges, elbowing her in the jaw. Selena winces. Hudson then pulls her out and goes for a belly to belly, but Selena blocks it and knees him in the ribs. Hudson steps back and Selena jumps up and hits an enziguri kick to the back of his head.

 

Sharper: “Selena goes up and catches Hudson behind the ear.”

 

Knots: “Blocking the belly to belly suplex too!”

 

Hudson slowly gets up and winces and Selena jumps up and hits a dropkick. Hudson goes up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd roars. (1) Hudson stirs and slowly gets up on the floor. (2) Selena then grabs the top rope and slingshots over, landing on his shoulders and snapping him off with a frankensteiner. (1) The crowd cheers as Selena gets up and looks around. (2) She then turns and goes over to Hudson and slowly grabs him. (3) She elbows him in the back and then again before turning to send him into the ring. (4) Hudson however nails her in the ribs with a shot and then another before pushing her forward and hooking her up and hitting a belly to belly suplex on the floor. (5) The crowd ohs. (6) Hudson then gets up and looks up at the ring. (7) He turns and rolls into the ring and rolls back out, restarting the count. (1)

 

Sharper: “Hudson making sure that Selena is going to have a painful rest this evening. My God…the thud.”

 

Knots: “And then rolling into the ring and back out to break up the count. Just the start here.”

 

Hudson walks over to Selena as she stirs. (2) He stomps her in the face and then again. (3) He grabs her and pulls her up before spinning her around and rolling her into the ring. Hudson slides in after. Selena slowly pulls herself up and Hudson grabs her and hits a backbreaker. He goes for the pin.

Selena gets her shoulder up. He then grabs her and pulls her up. He then wrenches her arm and pulls her into a short-arm clothesline. He holds on and slowly drags her back up. He then hits a vertical suplex. He gets up and walks into the ropes, bounces off and drives an elbow into the chest of Selena. He goes for another pin.

Selena pushes him off and gets her shoulder up. She turns and Hudson then grabs her and locks in a half nelson and a chinlock. He looks around as the crowd boos.

 

Sharper: “Hudson just slowing this down and punishing.”

 

Knots: “Now just making it hard for her to breath, to move, to anything.”

 

Hudson holds on as Selena starts to look around. She stomps her feet to try and get her fans behind her. Many start to clap and she starts to slowly get up, getting her feet under her. Hudson however jerks her up to her feet and clubs her in the back before hoisting her up and hitting a back suplex. He hooks the leg.

Selena gets her shoulder up. Hudson looks up and then gets up and grabs her. He then pulls her up and nails her with a European uppercut. She hits the mat. She slowly gets up and Hudson grabs her and whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Hudson goes for a clothesline. Selena ducks and bounces off and hits a spinning heel kick. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: “Selena coming back. Hard heel kick to the jaw.”

 

Knots: “Hudson could be dazed. Come on! Don’t want Regan pissed!”

 

Selena slowly gets up and Hudson turns around and staggers up and stumbles back and turns around and Selena runs to the ropes, jumps to the middle rope and dives back with the Cold Shoulder. Hudson hits the mat. He starts to get up and Hudson kicks him hard in the leg. He drops to a knee and Selena then runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a flying headscissors. Hudson rolls through and gets up. He turns around and Selena jumps up and snaps him over with a frankensteiner before turning into a pin.

Hudson gets his shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Both get up and Selena kicks him in the ribs. She then runs into the ropes, bounces off and boots him in the side of the head. Hudson falls to the ropes. Selena then jumps up and goes for another hurricanrana, but Hudson counters with a sitout powerbomb.

Selena shoots her shoulder up and rolls over. Hudson falls back. He then slowly starts to stir, grabbing at the ropes as Selena crawls in the opposite direction.

 

Sharper: “A huge powerbomb, but Selena managing to get that shoulder up.”

 

Knots: “Real close. She went to the well too many times. It dried up and she found the bottom!”

 

Selena gets up and turns around and Hudson runs at her and clotheslines her down. Hudson looks around. Selena rolls over and slowly starts to get up and Hudson waits for her to get up. She slowly staggers to her feet and Hudson grabs her from behind. He then goes to throw her back with a German suplex, but Selena backflips through and lands on her feet. Hudson rolls over and gets to his knees only for Selena to hit a shoot kick to the side of the head and Hudson drops to the mat. Selena dives onto him for the pin.

Hudson gets his shoulder up. Selena rolls off and looks around as the crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: “Nearfall and Selena I think figured that would be it. She got all of that kick.”

 

Knots: “Yeah, but Hudson’s hard-headed. Needs to be to deal with Regan and Sienna!”

 

Selena rolls off. She then starts to get up when we then see Regan Street walking out from the back with Mikaela Street and AJ Helms. They start to head to the ring. Selena looks up and rolls out of the ring. She then moves to the floor and grabs the steel chair from Jason Phillips. She folds it up and turns and rolls back into the ring. She then looks at Regan and Mikaela. Regan stops as Selena then holds up the chair. Hudson stirs.

 

Sharper: “Selena grabbing a chair. Regan coming down. Mikaela and AJ with her. I thought she wanted nothing to do with Selena!””

 

Knots: “But if you have a chance to take her out, you’re going to take it!”

 

Sharper: “Hudson getting up. Selena has that chair. The referee is trying to get it away.”

 

Selena then looks at Hudson and turns to Regan.

 

Selena: “Oh yeah…I have a Trios contract.”

 

Selena smirks as Regan looks up and Selena nails Hudson in the ribs before slamming it down into his back. We then see Justin Davis running out from the back. Regan turns and motions to him. AJ then steps up and nails him with a shot. Davis fires back at her. The bell sounds as Selena then keeps goading Regan to get into the ring. Regan just watches as Mikaela keeps telling her to not get in the ring. Davis and AJ trade blows as the crowd roars. Hudson grimaces.

 

Sharper: “Selena using the chair to take out Hudson. Almost as a message that Selena’s going to do what she plans to do.”

 

Knots: “Now she’s goading Regan in. She knows Regan probably wants to fight to take her out, but doesn’t want to give in to her, while also not pissing off David!”

 

Sharper: “And AJ and Justin! Going at it! Continuing from earlier!”

 

Selena keeps goading her as the crowd roars. Mikaela keeps holding Regan back as Hudson slowly grabs at the ropes and starts to get up and Selena slams the chair into his back. Selena then turns around to Regan.

 

Selena: “What? Don’t like what I’m doing? This is just doing what you do! Going to help Hudson?!  I will always be the biggest thorn in your side! And you can’t stop it!”
