We then cut to a live shot of
the inside of the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The cameras pan
across the crowd for a few moments.
Sharper: “We are in the City
of Angels as Breakdown continues to roll on to Taking Hold of the Flame!”
The cameras continue to pan
across the crowd. We then cut to the steel cage that is hanging over the ring
before cutting to ringside to see Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman
at ringside.
Sharper: “You see the cage
over the ring. Underground Title on the line later tonight. Kimberly Williams
challenges Konrad Raab. Meanwhile, I’m Adam Sharper,
here with Simon Lyman and Jonathan Knots. Big night tonight.”
Knots: “Always a big night in
Los Angeles!”
Lyman: “That’s right. We’ll
also be seeing a huge four person over the top rope challenge. Syren, Owen Lee, Gavin Taylor and
Alexis Quinne. TV Title on the line and you said it,
Underground Championship to cap it all off.”
Christy
Matthews vs. Datura
The lights fade down, and the
ramp is cast with a heavy backlight. The acoustic guitar of Royal and the
Serpent’s “Happier in Hell” begins.
“I’m afraid of medication but I think I should be on it.
I keep trying meditation but if I’m being honest
Doing anything that’s good for me makes me want to vomit.
I’m sorry for the mess I made I’ll clean it in the morning.”
From the light, the silhouette of Datura appears on the ramp. Her head is down,
and her arms extend outward, her hands dancing to the rhythm of the music. As
it goes on, Datura trudges down the ramp, basking in the light.
Phillips: “The opening contest
tonight on Breakdown is scheduled for onefall and has
a twenty minute time limit. First, on her way to the
ring, from Tampa, Florida, she is Datura!”
Sharper: “Datura on her way to
the ring. About to face Christy Matthews tonight. Her teammate from Holly-Wood
of the South. But this comes one week after she came out here and ruined Cid
Turner’s title defense against Autumn Valentine.”
LAST WEEK:
We open to see Cookie Dreams being accosted by Datura at
ringside.
Datura: “Where is she?”
Cookie looks around.
Cookie: “Who? Jordan? She’s…uh…she’s…”
Datura: “Come on! You cared about her. I saw what you two
went through!”
Cookie: “She’s at….at the compound!”
Datura: “No, she’s not. I’m not a fool, Cookie. And
neither was she? You haven’t even reached out. You don’t care….and he did it?”
Datura looks around.
Datura: “He broke her down?!”
Datura then turns to Cookie and then back to the ring.
Datura: “Well, sorry Autumn. You had your time.”
Datura then rolls into the ring. We cut forward to
showing Datura attacking Cid.
Lyman: “Datura found out more
of the story and rushed the ring. Her issue with Cid Turner only getting hotter
and she said, Autumn, she had her time.”
Knots: “Yeah, but Autumn
didn’t agree. No matter if Datura was going after Cid!”
Autumn then grabs Datura and pulls her off. Datura rolls
over as Autumn staggers and Datura looks up at her and gets up. Autumn gets in
her face as Lexy yells at Datura from the floor. We cut forward to see Cid with
the Adrenaline Championship. Datura then kicks Autumn in the ribs and nails her
with a hard right. Autumn drops to the mat and Cid steps forward and nails
Datura in the head with the title. Cid staggers forward and turns and nails
Autumn with the title. The crowd boos. Autumn hits the mat. Cid then drops down
and rolls to the floor. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.
Sharper: “Cid then got an
assist from Cookie Dreams. Cookie handing Cid the Adrenaline Championship which
he used to put both Autumn and Datura down as they started to fight.”
Lyman: “And this gets us here.
Christy Matthews who has reconciled with Autumn, stepping up tonight.”
Sharper: “Not like she has
much love lost for the Holly Adams Brand either. We heard her last week too.”
Datura is shown in the ring, spinning
toward the center of the ring, she extends her arms outward and throws off her
hood. The opening “King of the World” by Porcelain and the Tramps hits the
PA system. The fans cheer as we cut to black. Spotlights highlight areas of the
crowd. We cut to an area of the crowd where we see Christy walking through. Her
fists are taped and she’s wearing a red ring jacket with red hood pulled up
over her head.
...O R D E R O F C H A O S P R
E S E N T S...
...C H R I S T Y M A T T H E W S...
Christy pauses, her head down
for a moment before extending her arms in the mock crucifix pose. After a
moment she starts walking to the ring. When she approaches ringside, she
doesn’t even break stride, simply vaulting over the guardrail and toward the ring
apron where she jumps up, quickly ascending the turnbuckles and extends her
arms again in the mock crucifix pose.
Phillips: “Her opponent, from
the City of Angels, this is Christy Matthews!”
She steps up onto the top
turnbuckle and then jumps down to the ring, taking off her jacket and throwing
it into the corner. She then collapses back into a seated position in the
corner.
Sharper:
“Christy Matthews, again, stepping up here. And just think, they were teammates
just a couple of weeks ago.”
Lyman:
“A loose agreement. A loose alignment against Holly Adams, her brand, the Haus
of Nirvana, Positive State. All of it.”
Knots:
“Trademarked!”
Christy
looks across at Datura as Datura stretches out her neck. The bell sounds.
Christy pulls herself up. They both circle the ring before then stepping up and
locking in the middle of the ring. Datura drops down and sweeps out the legs,
pulling them down. She dives forward and into a side headlock. Christy pushes
out and then dives forward, locking in one of her own. Datura reaches around
and rolls Christy to her back.
1!
Christy
lets go. Both get up and Datura wrenches the arm of Christy. Christy winces and
then rolls forward and then back before ducking under and into a hammerlock.
Datura reaches up and then down before pulling on Christy’s leg. Christy falls
to her back. Datura turns around and Christy pulls her over into an inside
cradle.
1!
2!
Datura
kicks out. Both get up and Christy hits an arm drag, locking the arm. She holds
on as Datura winces and starts to slowly get up.
Sharper:
“Both technically sound. Great job by both. Christy in control.”
Lyman:
“That’s what this hold is. Control. You force Datura to make only a handful of
moves and some of them make it worse for her.”
Datura
gets up and Christy wrenches the arm again. Datura winces and she rolls forward
and then spins around on her back and kicks at the hand of Christy. She lets go
and Datura turns and drop toe holds Christy. Christy hits the mat and Datura
rolls through and then starts to cross the legs. The crowd roars as Datura then
gets up and moves before falling back with the Indian Deadlock. The crowd ohs
and Christy grimaces. Datura gets up, her leg still intertwined with Christy’s
and then falls back. Christy grimaces again. The official checks on her and
Datura then gets herself free. Christy rolls over. She moves to the ropes.
Datura gets up and follows as Christy gets up and kicks her in the ribs.
Christy falls to the corner. Datura then forearms her in the jaw before
grabbing her leg. She places it around the middle rope and starts to pull.

2!
3!
4!
Datura
lets go and backs up. Christy hops on her other leg and gets it free. Datura
then runs at Christy and slides under the bottom rope, pulling Christy down by
her legs. Christy reaches around and Datura pulls Christy around the ringpost. She then takes her left leg and slams it into the
ringpost. Christy yells in pain and slides forward.
Sharper:
“Datura going for the legs. Driving Christy Matthews’s knee and shin into the ringpost!”
Lyman:
“Couldn’t get free and now in a lot of hurt.”
Christy
starts to get up and Datura slides in. She then steps up and chopblocks Christy. She goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Matthews
kicks out. Datura turns and moves back to the leg. She then lifts it up and
drives her elbow into the thigh of Christy. Christy yells in pain and Datura
gets up. She then holds up the leg and does it again. She then starts to grind
her elbow into the thigh of Christy. Christy reaches up and grabs her head.
Datura shakes her off. Datura keeps grinding and Christy grimaces in pain,
leaning back before sitting up and grabbing Datura. She then pushes down on her
face and then uses her right leg to drive it into her head. Datura grimaces.
Christy nails her again. Datura rolls away.
Sharper:
“Matthews fighting out. Can she now get back on offense?”
Knots:
“She better figure it out. Or Datura is going to keep tying her up in knots!”
Datura
starts to get up and Christy moves to the ropes. Datura runs at her and kicks
her in the ribs. She whips Christy into the ropes. Christy bounces off and
Datura goes low, but Christy jumps up and rolls down Datura’s back. She winces
a bit. Datura gets up and Christy hits a shoot kick to the chest. Datura hits
the mat. She pops up and Christy wrenches the arm and hits a short-arm
clothesline. She follows up with the pin.
1!
2!
Datura
kicks out. She rolls over and stirs and Christy gets up. She clubs Datura in
the back and then winces a bit before hitting a Russian leg sweep. Christy
rolls over, kicking out her left leg. She gets up and Datura rolls over and
Christy pulls her up before pulling her back into the corner. Christy then
kicks her in the ribs before hitting a shoot kick to the chest and then jumping
to the middle rope and jumping up with a kick to the head. Christy lands
gingerly as Datura drops to the mat. Christy goes for another pin.
1!
2!
Datura
gets her shoulder up. Christy turns and grabs her by the head.
Sharper:
“Christy knowing how dangerous Datura is. Another pin attempt. Another two.”
Knots:
“Then right on her. Grabs her by the head, the hair, the arm.”
Lyman:
“And keeping the offense on.”
Christy
forearms Datura in the jaw. Datura stumbles to the ropes. Christy follows up
and whips her into the ropes. Datura bounces off and Christy goes a back drop. Datura spins through and lands on her feet. She then
grabs Christy and hoists her up and drops her with a kneebreaker.
Christy falls to the mat and Datura then hoists her up and locks in a single
leg crab. The crowd roars as Christy winces in pain. She reaches out. Datura
sits down as the official, Jennifer Cassidy, checks on her. Christy shakes her
head.
Lyman:
“Pressure on the knee. You can see by how Datura has it locked.”
Sharper:
“She’s pulling on the leg, on the kneecap. Adding the extra pressure.”
Christy
starts to crawl a bit toward the ropes. The crowd looks on, some cheering for
Datura, others for Christy. Christy keeps dragging herself and Datura toward
the ropes. Datura refuses to let go as Christy gets closer and closer before
reaching out. She barely touches the ropes before trying again and successfully
grabbing the bottom rope.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Datura
lets go and steps forward. Christy crawls to the ropes, leaning on them. Datura
runs at her and slides under the bottom rope to the floor. She nails Christy
with a hard right. Christy falls back and rolls over to the middle of the ring.
Datura slides in and Christy starts to get up and Datura runs at her, but
Christy hits a back drop. Datura rolls over and turns
and Christy jumps up and manages to hit a dropkick. Datura hits the mat. Both
get up and Christy ducks a clothesline attempt before pulling back on her head
and hitting a neckbreaker.
Sharper:
“Christy drives Datura to the mat. Pulling her down.”
Knots:
“Buying her an opening. A much needed one!”
Christy
gets up and moves her left leg, walking around and trying to get the blood
going before lunging forward and hitting the Little Red Press. The crowd ohs.
She hooks Datura’s leg.
1!
2!
Datura
kicks out. She rolls over and Christy gets up and grabs her. She hooks her up
and drops her with a back suplex. Datura grimaces in
pain. Christy then turns and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope.
Datura rolls over and starts to get up and Christy looks at her as she steadies
herself and then dives off and catches Datura with a diving European uppercut.
The crowd ohs. Datura rolls through to her stomach. Christy crawls over and
rolls her over for the pin.
1!
2!
Datura
gets her shoulder up. Christy rolls off.
Sharper:
“Only two. Christy caught Datura under the jaw. Hoping to daze her!”
Lyman:
“She dazed her, but not long enough for the three!”
Knots:
“Wheels are turning though!”
Christy
starts to get up and Datura rolls over. Christy grabs her and pulls her up. As
this happens, we see Cookie Dreams walk out from the back. She looks down at
the ring as the crowd gives a mixed reaction. Christy Matthews runs Datura over
to the corner and drives her face first into the top turnbuckle. Christy spins
her around and hoists her up and places her on the top rope. Christy nails her
with a forearm and then another. Datura fires back. Christy chops her. Datura
nails her with a shot and Christy then pushes off the top rope and hits a kick
to the chest of Datura. She nearly teeters as Christy then climbs up to the
middle rope. She hooks Datura up as the crowd roars. Christy then steps up to
the top rope and throws Datura back with a top rope superplex.
The crowd roars. Datura hits hard and rolls to her side. Christy lands on her
back and winces in pain. We then hear boos as we see Cookie waving someone from
the back, that someone turning out to be Cid Turner.
Sharper:
“Christy Matthews with a huge superplex on Datura.
Both women down.”
Lyman:
“And Cookie Dreams. Look! She’s waving Cid Turner down. That was fast!”
Knots:
“Why not though? Why now?!”
Cid
Turner runs down as Cookie runs after him. Cid slides into the ring. The
official goes to stop him, but Cid shoves him back. Christy starts to get up
and turns and Cid runs over and nails her with the Adrenaline Championship.
Christy falls back through, the ropes and down to the floor. The bell sounds.
The crowd boos loudly. Cid Turner then throws the Adrenaline Championship down
as Cookie Dreams is now at the timekeeper’s table, getting a microphone. She
runs back.
Sharper:
“Cid Turner attacking Christy Matthews! Forcing her out of the ring!”
Knots:
“And now what? What’s he doing?”
Cid
walks over and Cookie hands him the microphone. Datura stirs, wincing as Cid
walks over to her.
Cid:
“Datura. Datura. I think it’s time we talk. We’ve gone down a wrong path. We
used to be on the same page. I helped you. You challenged me. I was a great
World Champion. You…let me down by getting injured.”
Cid
stops.
Cid:
“I hope you don’t mind I came out now. I mean who interrupts a match so far in.
It’s disrespectful. At least let me defeat Autumn first and then we can talk. I
guess you’re wondering why I did the same. Well, Datura…I saved you…again.”
Cid
nods as Datura looks up at him, anger in her eyes.
Cid:
“You probably know that you’ve lost again. I know, I know. I’m sorry. But I
probably just sped this up. Christy was kicking your ass. And well, I think
it’s time we have a talk again. Because not only did you let me down, by your
own admission, Dat…But, you seem to have a lot of
mistaken ideas.”
Datura
looks down as she then looks up at Cid.
Cid:
“Look, you’re angry about Jordan. I’m sorry. I was protecting you. I knew it
would get you all sideways. And look…I didn’t want to say anything. But…well…I
have some footage. I didn’t break her! Honest! Look!”
Cid
points to the big screen as Datura crawls to the ropes and leans on them,
looking over.
REPLAY – BODY, HEART
AND SOUL 2022:
Cookie turns as a masked person, holding a barbed wire
bat, starts to advance on them. Cookie looks at the woman, a mix of confused
and scared as she backs up a bit. The person points the barbed wire bat at
Cookie as the crowd buzzes. Majors turns and sees this and walks over and
reaches through, but then the person turns and grabbing the top of the bat too,
swings, nailing Jordan in the forehead. Jordan falls back, rolling over, a cut
opening on her forehead. Majors rolls over, more trying to find the person and
looks over as Cookie looks stunned and the figure backs up before removing the
mask, revealing it to be Dawn Lohan. The crowd erupts with a mixed of cheers
and boos.
Sharper: “Dawn Lohan attacking
Jordan Majors.”
Knots: “Cid’s telling the
truth! Sure, he pinned her and ensured the collapse was complete, but come on!”
Sharper: “And Dawn Lohan and
Datura have been long-time friends.”
The Breakdown logo comes up on
the screen as we cut to see Datura looking at the screen.
Datura: “Dawn?”
Datura looks confused as Cid
nods. He then squats down next to her.
Cid: “Why Cook and I didn’t
say anything? We didn’t want to break you. Not like Jordan-“
Datura’s head turns. Cid falls
back to his backside. He extends his arm.
Cid: “Hey! Look! I’m trying to
help. Reset here. You could be part of the Positive State. This time you’d have
less failure. Fewer losses…less feeling like you suck. You’re probably have to apologize for threatening to kill Holly. Do you own
a Starbucks uniform-Never mind. But I can help you!
The same opportunity I would give Jordan if she was here…God rest her soul.”
Cookie leans in and says
something. Cid turns back.
Cid: “Oh…she’s not dead. Just
not here…oh well.”
Cid then gets up to his feet.
He extends his arm.
Cid: “Come on Datura. I can
help you. Just join…us.”
Cid smiles as Datura looks at
her. The crowd roars as Christy gets up on the floor annoyed. But we then see
Autumn Valentine running down from the back. The crowd cheers louder as Cid
backs up and sees Christy before rolling to the floor on a different side of
the ring. Cookie exits too. Autumn slides in and gets up and looks at him as
Datura watches him and then grits her teeth, trying to figure out what she
should feel.
Sharper: “Autumn Valentine,
the woman who challenged for the Adrenaline Championship last week,
inconclusively. She wants to still have a shot at Cid!”
Lyman: “Datura was being
offered a spot in the Positive State. Cid bailing fast.”
Datura slowly gets up and
Autumn then turns and nails her with the Blindspot. The crowd ohs and boos.
Datura falls to the mat as Autumn then looks down at her. The crowd gives a
mixed reaction as Christy pulls herself onto the apron. Autumn then looks at
Datura before turning back to Cid. Cid backs up, clutching his title and
accompanied by Cookie.
Sharper: “Autumn with the
Blindspot! Datura down!”
Knots: “Revenge for last week
I bet!”
Sharper: “And right back to
Cid!”
Christy steps up and walks
over to Autumn. The two glance at one another before
Autumn turns to Cid as the scene cuts away.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown
returns as Cid Turner walks back into the locker room with Cookie Dreams. Holly
heads over to him.
Holly:
“What were you doing? Offering Starbucks a chance for what we do-“
Cid:
“Wouldn’t she be perfect?! I mean she’s collapsing before our eyes. And she was
thinking about it. All before Autumn Valentine, violent barbarian that she is-“
Holly:
“She’d probably try to kill me!”
Cid:
“I told you. She’d have to make up with you. Aren’t we supposed to be helping
people?”
Holly:
“Oh we are. Just we need to be discerning. Some people are just trying to get
quick fixes and they don’t help the brand. And Cidnay…someone
like Starbucks may be that same problem!”
Cid:
“Well…she has listened to me in the past and I mean we need more successes than
Samuel and Call-“
Holly:
“That’s not her name.”
Cid:
“What? Calliope?”
Holly:
“Gone. It wasn’t working. Didn’t feel right.”
Cid:
“So what’s her name?”
Holly:
“I’m thinking we go a bit outside of the box. Here, I’ll show you.”
Holly
walks over to her area and pulls out a card. She shows it to Cid. On it, we see
a picture of 🍑.
Cid:
“Peach?”
Holly:
“No! It’s like Prince. You should remember him! It’s trendy. It’s different. It’s
🍑.”
Cid:
“Did you just try to say it outloud?”
Holly:
“No I didn’t. I just let the essence of it come over me. It’s perfect! Unlike
this Datura scheme.”
Cid:
“It will be fine! We can help her!”
The
scene cuts away.
The chords of "People
Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the
audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and
around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs "The Queen's Guard"
Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the
left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does.
Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms
outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet.
Sharper: “Deanna Frost last
week faced Jenni Anderson. It did not go the way she had hoped.”
Lyman: “Not at all. As we’ll
show you here. She had Jenni beat. She was about to lock in the Consortium on
Anderson, but then this.”
BREAKDOWN – LAST WEEK:
Deanna rolls over and starts to get up as Jenni rolls to
her hands and knees. She starts to get up and Deanna waits, setting up for the
Consortium. Jenni steps forward and just as she does, we see a woman, in a
black t-shirt and jeans. She rolls into the ring. She then runs over and
tackles Deanna down. The official runs over and grabs the woman as the bell
sounds. The woman gets a few shots in before the official gets her back. Deanna
rolls over, a bit stunned and backs up.
Sharper: “We realized that was
a competitor, a local competitor, brought into the show. Deanna was stunned. We
all thought it was a fan.”
Knots: “It wasn’t. It was the
conclusion of a business transaction!”
Sharper: “Jenni Anderson paid
this woman to attack Deanna Frost. Jenni Anderson is the woman who was left
standing and for good measure…this.”
Deanna gets up confused as the woman is moved to the
corner. Just then, Deanna is spun around and Jenni blasts Deanna with the Queenpin’s Kiss. Deanna hits the mat. The crowd ohs and boos.
We then cut forward to show Jenni pulling out a moneyclip
of money from her entrance attire. She then throws her gear over her shoulder.
She steps forward as the crowd boos and throws the moneyclip
at the woman. The woman grabs it and clutches it as the crowd boos. The
Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.
We cut back to a live shot as
Deanna Frost has a microphone in her hand and walks around the ring. She looks
out at the crowd as her music fades out. She then points to the big screen.
Deanna: “You all saw it
there.”
Deanna scoffs.
Deanna: “I mean I know I’m
relatively new to the in-ring part of this whole deal. But I figured maybe
since Jenni Anderson was so set on not paying me. Seeing some value in beating
me that maybe we’d get a nice match. I mean she even said it. She wasn’t going
to give me the money because I’m married to the World Champion.”
Deanna shrugs.
Deanna: “And yet she pulls
that. Not only did she not take her loss like a woman…she had to pay someone
else to get involved just so she could get a cheap shot.”
Deanna looks down as the crowd
boos.
Deanna: “Now I’m still
learning on this side of the ropes. Don’t get me wrong. But you’ll notice I’m
out here by myself. See, while Selena is preparing to defend her title at Taking
Hold of the Flame, I’ll focus on my own issues and Jenni Anderson, you’ve made
an enemy out of me!”
Deanna looks around.
Deanna: “And so, this is going
to be simple. You don’t even need to bring a moneyclip
of cash. You don’t need to remind everyone you’re the Queenpin.
You’ve got some attention now. From me! And I want a rematch where I can beat
you straight up in this ring.”
Deanna looks at the camera.
Deanna: “So Jenni…if you want
attention…and it sounded like you wanted it from my wife…well….”
“MONEY
MONEY
MONEY MAKE HER SMILE…”
The chorus line to Bruno Mars’ “Money Make Her Smile” plays out over the crowd
before the introductory organ plays out, leading into the full song. Jenni
Anderson steps out from the back, confidently striding as she stands before the
booing crowd, clad in a long fur coat. She has a microphone in her hand as she
stops at on the stage. Deanna looks up at her.
Sharper: “And there is the Queenpin, Jenni Anderson.”
Lyman: “Making sure to flash
some of that money. I hope that’s not real.”
Sharper: “I did ask her. It’s
not. It’s faux.”
Jenni looks down at the ring
as the music fades out.
Jenni: “Deanna, Deanna, Deanna….you’ve said it a few times, so I’ll help you out. You’re
still new to the inside of the ring. Well, let me give you a free lesson.
Perception is reality!”
Jenni smiles.
Jenni: “Sure…you may
have a win over me. In the books. But what everyone else here saw…and all of the money counters in the back saw was a star who
left you laying. And before you ask about the woman, Sherry is her name by the
way…or Cheryl…or Cherry….not important. I made an
investment. And it paid off. And people are now talking about me more, while
you…you’re still the champ’s wife.”
The crowd boos.
Deanna: “I think you
underestimate these fans and everyone in the back.”
The crowd roars as Jenni chuckles.
Jenni: “Oh I don’t…because
well…”
Jenni smiles, lowering her
sunglasses to the front of her nose.
Jenni: “I know what bets to
make. And I’ll make one right now.”
The crowd look on as Deanna
leans on the ropes.
Deanna: “And what’s that?”
Jenni: “Easy…Perception is
Reality. I’m a star. You’re the champion’s wife. And I want to be champion.”
The crowd boos.
Deanna: “Like you’ve earned
anything to even be in the same ring as her.”
Jenni: “Well, then you can
help with that perception because I will promise you a clean match, one on
one…if when I beat you, I get myself a World Title shot.”
Deanna: “You’ve got to be
kidding me-“
Jenni: “I’m not kidding at
all. I’m a very successful businesswoman and I mean, this is L.A.! Dream big.
And I’m dreaming of myself being World Champion and I’ve got what I need to get
there by working smarter…not harder!”
The crowd boos.
Jenni: “Think about it Deanna.
Are you willing to sell your wife’s integrity to get the match you want? And
before you go to Shaun Cruze, ask yourself. How far
am I willing to go to get what I want?!”
The crowd boos as “Money Make
Her Smile” plays throughout the arena. Jenni smiles as she walks to the back.
Deanna watches her leave before we cut backstage.
Backstage, we see Shaun Cruze in his office. There’s
a knock at the door.
Cruze: “Come in!”
The door opens as Lexy Chapel
storms into the office. Cruze immediately rolls his
eyes.
Chapel: “Why does everyone do
that? Just because OH YEAH I’m the best manager in
WRESTLING! Just because you know I’m going to get what my client DESERVES.”
Cruze: “What do you want Lexy?”
Chapel: “Oh that’s easy. I
have a list. Maybe giving Autumn the rematch against Cid Turner she deserves
when DATURA gets involved. I mean what is a Datura?! And why is that her name?
She’s just ruining everything, the ruiner! But that’s
not it. Oh no…I have a BIGGER ask. One that is going to prevent you from making
the greatest miscarriage of justice in the history of professional wrestling.”
Cruze: “Get to the point Lexy.”
Cruze replies already exasperated.
Chapel: “Ace Marshall should
get the World Title shot. I know, I know, you said he didn’t deserve it. Who
made YOU in charge of that? Didn’t he beat Syren?
That’s right. YES. So what the drunk YOU HIRED BACK
got involved…maybe you’re behind it, hmmm?”
Cruze: “Lexy-“
Chapel: “Oh…and I’m ready.
I’ve got LEGAL representation!”
Cruze: “Aren’t you that as his
manager-“
Chapel: “Lawyer dog!”
Just then, a dog, wearing a
suit, runs into the room. Lexy grabs its leash, helping it jump onto a chair
across from Cruze. Lexy beams. Cruze
is just completely confused.
Chapel: “Get ready to be torn
apart! Lawyer dog. I’ll leave it to you.”
Chapel turns and leaves. Cruze looks at the door and then to the dog. The dog barks
as Cruze just looks completely stunned and the scene
fades to black.

Breakdown
returns as we open up in the locker room of LexyCorp.
Lexy:
“What are you angry for? I’ve got this handled, Ace!”
Ace:
“You send a God damned dog to negotiate for me?”
Lexy:
“Not just any dog…Lawyer Dog! Bear found him. He’s got a ruff way of doing things but he’ll bark for what’s right! Going to be great on
the Farmstead-“
Ace:
“Unbelievable.”
Ace
shakes his head.
Lexy:
“What? He’s AMAZING and super adorable-“
Ace:
“I get this close and this is what’s happening.
F[bleep] it.”
Ace
turns and storms off.
Lexy:
“Ace! Wait! He may come back with news!”
Ace
leaves the locker room as Autumn Valentine walks over to her.
Autumn:
“Lexy…are you sure that was the best idea? He’s not been himself for a few weeks.”
Lexy:
“What are you talking about? He’s the same fun-loving Ace and former World
Champion we all love!”
Autumn:
“Think about the last part of that and what he’s been focusing on for the last
few months.”
Lexy:
“And I’m getting him the shot!”
Autumn:
“Well I hope you’ve got other plans for my title shot.”
Lexy:
“Oh don’t worry. Remember…we’re married. You get ALL of
my attention!”
Lexy
winks as Autumn shakes her head, trying to stifle a chuckle as the scene cuts
away.
Sharper:
“I think Lexy may be in denial.”
Knots:
“Ya think…”
“Thundering”
Terry Marshall vs. Diamond Steele
Diamond and the Gem Stones begins to blare all across the sound system and
as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various
instruments as we are able to see Diamond Steele
emerging from the curtain. She has a microphone in her hands sings as loudly as
she can to the sound of roaring cheers. Kate smirks as she just sings loudly
which results in even more boos.
Phillips: “The following
contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring,
from London, England, she is Diamond Steele!”
Diamond finally makes it to
the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she
grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap
frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd who boos
louder than before. She waves at them off as she throws the microphone to the
side. She smirks as she opens up a pocket mirror and
takes a moment to admire how beautiful her hair is as she waits for the match
to begin.
Sharper:
“Diamond Steele continuing to find her groove here in SCW.”
Lyman:
“She’s just a couple of wins away and this all turns around. She just needs to
apply herself and she’s got it.”
Sharper:
“Yeah, but she has her hands full tonight.”
The
opening chords to “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC plays
throughout the arena. The crowd erupts in cheers as we then see “Thundering”
Terry Marshall walk out from the back and pointing at the ring. He looks around
the arena, spinning around before clapping his friends and continuing to march
to the ring.
Phillips:
“Her opponent, from Huntington, West Virginia, he is Thundering Terry
Marshall!”
He
reaches the ring and walks up the steel steps. He then walks along the apron,
pointing at Diamond before stepping into the ring. He then steps forward and
grabs the collar of his shirt and rips his shirt off before pulling it off and
throwing it out to the crowd. He then poses in the ring as the crowd cheers. He
then stops, claps his hands and points to the crowd before walking around the
ring.
Sharper:
“There you have it. SCW’s latest signing, Thundering Terry Marshall, making one
more run! And joining SCW here tonight.”
Knots:
“Talk about coming in late. Coming to SCW.”
Sharper:
“And we should note, both competitors will be in the Taking Hold of the Flame
battle royal.”
Lyman:
“The largest arms in the world are here in SCW!”
The
bell sounds as the crowd starts a “Terry!” chant as Marshall looks around. He
then presses his hand to his ear and nods as Diamond looks around, disgusted.
The two circle the ring and Diamond smirks before they lock up in the middle of
the ring. Terry Marshall pulls Diamond in and then shoves her down. She rolls
through to her knees and looks up. Marshall then poses as the crowd roars.
Diamond gets up and runs over to Terry and shoves him. Terry shoves her back.
Diamond rolls through again and looks up. Terry then motions for her to get up.
Diamond gets up and runs at him and Terry shoulders her down. Diamond rolls
over and moves to the floor. She backs up. The crowd roars.
Sharper:
“And Marshall is thundering here in Los Angeles!”
Knots:
“This crowd is losing it, Sharper!”
Lyman:
“So is Diamond, but in a different way!”
Diamond
walks around the ring as Terry Marshall looks around, playing to the crowd
again. Diamond then turns and hops onto the apron. She springboards to the top
rope and dives off, nailing Terry Marshall with a diving forearm shot. The
crowd boos as Marshall goes down. He rolls over and Diamond turns and stomps
him in the back and then again and again and again. The crowd boos as the
official tells her to get away. Diamond then grabs him and drags him to the
ropes and places him on the middle rope, starting to choke him. The crowd boos
some more.

Diamond

Sharper:
“Diamond just taking the fight to Terry Marshall. Taking the crowd out of it.”
Lyman:
“She’s a showwoman too. She knows how to play or not
play to the crowd.”
Terry
steps forward and Diamond jumps up and hits an enziguri
kick. Marshall drops to the mat. Diamond rolls him over and goes for the pin.

Marshall
powers out and sits up, shaking his head. He then starts to get up and Steele
gets up and runs over and nails him with one right hand and then another right
hand before going for a third, but Marshall blocks it and blasts Diamond with a
hard right. Diamond hits the mat. She gets back up and Marshall nails her with
another right. Diamond hits the mat and gets back up and Marshall pushes her
into the ropes and fires her across. Diamond bounces off and Marshall hoists
her up with a huge back body drop. Diamond rolls over, holding her back and
turns around and Marshall scoops her up and slams her down. He turns and runs
into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting the Huge in Japan!
Sharper:
“Huge in Japan! Hit it! He hit it!”
Marshall
goes for the pin.

Diamond
just gets her shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Marshall gets up and grabs Diamond.
He drags her up. Marshall whips her into the corner. Marshall runs after her,
but Diamond moves out of the way as Marshall goes chest first into the
turnbuckles. He turns around in pain and Diamond runs into the ropes, bouncing
off and then jumping up and hitting a float over DDT. The crowd ohs and boos.
Diamond goes for the pin, hooking the leg.

Marshall
kicks out. The crowd cheers.
Sharper:
“Diamond got all of that DDT. But Marshall kicks out!
Terry Marshall kicking out.”
Knots:
“And Diamond Steele starting to figure out what she can do to keep the big man
down!”
Diamond
looks up and then turns and mounts Marshall nailing him with repeated shots.
Marshall rolls over as Diamond gets up. She snaps at the crowd before turning
around and watching Marshall as he gets up. Marshall starts to get up and
Diamond turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and goes for a jumping
clothesline. Marshall ducks. Diamond stumbles forward and into the ropes. She
turns around and Marshall hits a big boot. Diamond hits the mat. Marshall looks
around as the crowd roars. Diamond starts to get up and Marshall runs into the
ropes, bouncing off and spins through into the Thunder Struck. The crowd
erupts.
Sharper:
“Thunder Struck! Terry Marshall hit it!”
Marshall
follows up with the pin.

He
gets up and claps as the bell sounds. Marshall gets up and points to the crowd
as his music plays.
Phillips:
“Here is your winner, via pinfall, Thundering Terry Marshall!”
Sharper:
“Marshall victorious in his debut here in SCW!”
Knots:
“And the losing streak continues for Diamond. Terry Marshall just thundering into
Taking Hold of the Flame!”
Marshall
gets up and has his arm raised. He nods before stepping forward and posing. The
crowd cheers some more as the spotlights shine down on him.
Sharper:
“Now let’s go backstage where Beard is standing by with Jaina
Lancaster. Jaina?”
The
scene cuts backstage where Jaina Lancaster nods at
the camera. Beard stands next to her, holding the SCW Television Championship.
Lancaster:
“Thank you Adam. I’m here with the SCW Television Champion and Beard, you’ve
gone through some challenges inside of the ring and outside of the ring. I want
to focus on them inside the ring. You’ve taken on a variety of challengers, but
now, you’ve got something different. You don’t know your opponent. An open
challenge of sorts?”
Beard:
“Guess so. I mean I was a bit surprised by this. But if this is what the boss
man wants, then I’m going to go out there and take on whoever walks through the
curtain. Maybe it’s a former World Champion? Maybe it’s a new star. We just saw
Terry Marshall go out there and rip it up. Loved him as a kid. So who knows? Just going to try and enjoy the ride and be
ready.”
Lancaster:
“Sounds like a great way to go about it. Good luck in your title defense.”
Beard:
“Thanks.”
Beard
turns and heads off.
Lancaster:
“The SCW Television Championship will be on the line here on Breakdown,
when we return. Don’t go anywhere!”
The
scene fades to black.

returns as Cruze steps out of his office. He glances
back in as we hear a bark. He then stops and closes the door. Lexy Chapel walks
over to him, beaming.
Chapel:
“So now that you’ve been schooled in all of the legalities of this, now-“
Cruze: “No.
And I think you need to understand the mess this has made.”
Chapel:
“What? No! He’s a professional.”
Cruze: “Tell that to the brief he left on my desk. So you can take care of that.”
Chapel:
“And you’ll announce Ace’s title shot!”
Cruze: “How
are you CHBK’s daughter?”
Chapel:
“You don’t know how it works? That’s terrible for your wife. Wait…you have a
kid…”
Cruze: “Lexy!”
Chapel:
“What?! I’m right here.”
Cruze: “Let
me make this clear. You clean up after your dog. That’s the only thing I’m
announcing involving you or your client tonight.”
Cruze heads
off as Chapel just glares at him. She waits until he’s out of earshot.
Chapel:
“Yeah…tonight…we’ll play the long game too. Won’t we Lawyer Dog!”
Chapel
heads into the office.
Chapel:
“Awww…it even looks like Shaun’s face!”
TBA vs.
Beard
SCW
Television Championship
The arena lights go completely
black. Lightning begins to streak around the entrance way, as "The
Terminator" theme blares through the sound system. Smoke rises from the
stage as the lightning slowly dies down. As the music continues and the smoke
clears, a figure turning slowly rises to its feet in the smoke. The music then
transitions into "(Oh My) Darling Don’t Cry” by Run the Jewels as Beard
reveals himself, stepping out from the smoke, with the crowd erupting in
cheers. The SCW Television Championship sits around his waist.
Phillips: “The following
contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television
Championship. First, on his way to the ring, from New York City, New York, he
is the SCW Television Champion, Beard!”
Beard makes his way to the
ring, taking some time out to lean into the crowd. He then runs and slides into
the ring under the bottom rope. Once inside the ring, Beard climbs to the top
rope and strokes his beard before extending his arms out and doing a backflip off of the top rope, landing on his feet, and dropping to
one knee as the music dies down.
Sharper:
“Beard coming out first. This is just odd. We don’t know who is
opponent is.”
Lyman:
“The Television Champion always has to be on his toes.
We know Beard has taken on any and all comers who have
stepped up to face him.”
Sharper:
“Yeah, but he’s usually known his opponent.”
Beard
takes his title off from his waist and looks around before handing the title
off to the official, Steve Hollinsworth. Hollinsworth holds the title as the
SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen. Beard then starts to
run along the ropes, bouncing back and forth.
Phillips:
“His opponent…”
The
crowd roars a bit as Beard stops and turns to the entrance way, trying to
focus.
Sharper:
“Here we go. Beard getting warmed up.”
Knots:
“Yeah, but for what?”
The
crowd buzzes as Beard walks around the ring and then turns to Steve
Hollinsworth. The lights then go out. The lights then go on the entrance set.
The
crowd buzzes before the crowd boos some, while others cheer. Beard then looks
around. He points to himself and then looks around.
Sharper:
“We’ve never seen that from these videos. And focusing on Beard….Called out who was in the ring…”
Knots:
“Maybe Jarvis Valentine was supposed to be out here.”
Sharper:
“He’s not. He’s not here. And he’s in fact gone missing! What is going on?”
Beard
looks around, trying to make sense of things. Hollinsworth turns and goes to
Phillips.
Sharper:
“Hollinsworth, the official, trying to also figure this out.”
Knots:
“Was Beard’s opponent this One person?”
Sharper:
“I don’t know.”
Hollinsworth
continues to speak to Phillips. Phillips backs up.
Phillips:
“Fans, Steve Hollinsworth has announced that if Beard’s challenger does not
make his way down to the ring by a count of ten, he will be ruled as counted
out and Beard will be declared the winner.”
The
bell sounds. Beard looks around. Hollinsworth steps out and counts.

“He did. Maybe he knew who was supposed to be competing against Beard.”

The
crowd starts to count with Hollinsworth. (9!)

The
bell sounds. Hollinsworth turns and presents the SCW Television Championship to
Beard. Beard takes it and looks at it, sighing in disappointment. His music
plays throughout the arena.
Phillips:
“Here is your winner, via forfeit, and still SCW Television Champion, Beard!”
The
crowd cheers Beard. Beard just holds his hand up and shakes his head. He then
pulls away from Hollinsworth.
Sharper:
“Beard retains as a result. But not what Beard hoped for.”
Lyman:
“He’s been facing any and all. A bunch of different
styles and excelling. Add some of the controversy. He’s been seeing this ring
as a place he can go. And whomever was supposed to face him…they didn’t come
out.”
Beard
drops down to the floor. He sighs as he walks around the ring. He
half-heartedly high fives some fans as he walks over to the entrance way and
starts to head to the back.
Backstage,
Giovanni Aries is walking through the hallways. He smiles as he sees Samuel
Davis sitting on a storage crate, legs crossed, and seemingly in deep
meditation. Giovanni watches him, smiling. He then starts to pattern himself
after Davis, seemingly suggesting they are doing a set meditation routine.
Davis ends and opens his eyes to see Giovanni “GiGi”
Aries standing there.
Davis:
“Oh, I didn’t know-“
Aries:
“Nonsense, Samuel. You are doing well. I’m happy to hear you’re taking this to
heart, unlike…’
Davis:
“She will come around. She’s just always been more skeptical. We’ve been
through a lot.”
Aries:
“She has to understand Holly and I have her best
interests at heart. Taking Hold of the Flame will be a big night for the Brand
and the Haus. You understand that. She must too.”
Davis:
“Of course! I still can’t believe you got me in number one.”
Aries:
“It’s a true test. But one that I know you can rise to the occasion. Just as
you did at Holly-Wood of the South.”
Davis
nods, smiling.
Aries:
“Take a breath Samuel. You’ve earned a moment of relief.”
Davis
takes a deep breath. Aries then leans in.
Aries:
“Just remember, your next payment is due June 1.”
Aries
turns and walks off as Davis nods, tensing up a bit. Davis takes a deep breath
as the scene cuts away.
“The
Old Me” plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. We then see a shot
of Owen Lee vs. Syren vs. Alexis Quinne
vs. Gavin Taylor.
Sharper:
“Speaking of Taking Hold of the Flame, four individuals all scheduled to be
part of it as entrants. They’ll meet in mere moments in an over
the top rope challenge. Lee, Syren, Taylor and Quinne. Next!”
The
scene fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
The Taking Hold of the Flame 2022 logo comes up on the
screen. We then see shots of CHBK celebrating, before showing Nicole Kinneck spinning around in the ring, and then showing Mitch
Doogan heading to the ring.
“And now your Taking Hold of the Flame memory, sponsored
by LexyCorp!”
“2007”
We see Damian Angel, James Exeter, and Jason Wheeler in
the ring. Angel falls to the mat and Exeter pulls himself up. He then runs at
Wheeler. He kicks him in the stomach. He then tries to spin Wheeler around to
eliminate him, but Wheeler just bounces off the ropes. Exeter grabs him again
and Wheeler kicks him in the stomach. He then lifts him up. Exeter however
hammers away on Wheeler and then grabs the top rope and lands on the apron.
Before Wheeler can turn around. Exeter grabs Wheeler and starts to pull him
over. Exeter, for extra leverage, jumps up and brings his leg down on Wheeler’s
chest and Wheeler falls over the top rope to the floor. Exeter then rolls back
into the ring.
Dawson: “I don’t believe it! James Exeter from Majestic
is putting on a hell of a show and it’s down to James Exeter and Damian Angel.
One of these men are going to Rise to Greatness!”
Sharper: “I wonder if Angel is thinking about CHBK right
now!”
Exeter crawls up to his feet and Angel is still down from
the low blow shot. Exeter walks over to Angel with a smirk on his face. The
crowd is standing on their feet and Exeter grabs Angel. Angel suddenly low
blows Exeter. Exeter falls against the ropes. Angel then runs up behind Exeter
and throws him onto the apron. Exeter falls over the top rope and again lands
onto the apron. Angel grabs Exeter and Exeter nails him with a hard right. He
then springboards to the top rope and Angel jumps up and dropkicks the legs
from under Exeter and Exeter falls throat first on the top rope and falls to
the floor on the outside. The bell rings and “Lucifer’s Angel” plays throughout
the arena. Damian Angel falls back to the middle of the ring and just breathes
heavily.
Johnson: “I don’t believe it! He did it! Damian Angel did
it!”
Sharper: “Damian Angel on June 10, 2007
has written history and will go to Rise to Greatness to face the SCW Champion!”
Dawson: “The SCW Adrenaline Champion showed he had enough
adrenaline to do what he needed to do. Damian Angel is going to the promised
land!”
The Taking Hold of the Flame logo comes up on the screen.
Syren vs. Owen
Lee vs. Gavin Taylor vs. Alexis Quinne
Over the
Top Rope Challenge
The lights in the arena plunge
into darkness. A pulsing sound plays out across the PA system as the fans
cheer. We cut to the backstage area where we see a tour bus with Syren’s logo on the side. Syren
walks out in her full ring gear, complete with black ring jacket and pink
halter-top/black tights. She begins walking into the arena as we cut back to
inside to see the fans reacting. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as we see
one of the doors opening and Syren walking through.
She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY
Syren walks down the walkway to the
crowd barricade before walking around and through the timekeeper’s area. She
jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and
waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her,
she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.
Phillips: “The following
contest is an over-the-top-rope challenge with a thirty
minute time limit. First, hailing from Los Angeles, California!”
The crowd erupts in cheers.
Phillips: “She is Syren!”
Syren smiles before leaping over
the top rope and posing in the ring with both her arms outstretched. She
screams before taking off her ring jacket and throwing it over the top rope
toward the timekeeper’s table. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a
moment before jumping back down and standing in her corner as her music fades
out.
Sharper:
“Syren noted last week she’s now focused back on the
Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. Tonight’s a hell of an opportunity for
her to show just how serious she is. Facing three others in this special
challenge.”
Lyman:
“Yeah, rules are simple. You win by throwing your opponents over the top.”
Knots:
“Well hot damn! You could challenge for Phillips’s
job!”
The lights around the arena
begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With
Webster starts to play over the arena.
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show
And the song continues...
The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the
curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms
outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.
Phillips: “Next, from Los
Angeles, California…”
The crowd cheers some more.
Phillips: “He is the All-Star
Gavin Taylor!”
Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feel it whoa (whoa)
The more I need it whoa (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the
ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding
onto the top rope. Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the
second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his
jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning
around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponents.
Sharper: “You may have also
picked up on the other commonality. Everyone here has called California their
home at one point or another!”
Lyman: “And you’ve got someone
like Gavin who would love to turn things around tonight. Last week, he saved
Nicole. Nicole told him to focus on himself. Time to step up the right way.”
Knots: “Just look at that look
between Gavin and Syren though. Gavin is glaring a
hole through her.”
We see Gavin just watching Syren as Syren glances back at
him from time to time. The eyes all focus on the stage. The lights grow dim.
Opening strum of Rage Against the Machine's Calm Like a Bomb
plays. White house lights illuminate the ramp.
Feel the funk blast
Feel the funk blast
FEEL THE FUNK BLAST
The song kicks it. The house lights turn blue, red, green, etc. Alexis Quinne walks out through the curtains. The crowd roars. She
is dressed in a black and red sugar skull mask with black trim. She
also had a silver and black Varsity Jacket with a few badges on the sleeves.
She looks out at the arena, turning left and right. She reaches up and takes
off her mask before she then starts her march down to the ring.
Phillips: “Next, from San Francisco, California, she is Alexis Quinne!”
Alexis eyes the camera while looking around at the crowd, smirking a little
bit. She then looks to both sides of the front row, a wry smirk sported on
her face. She then tosses her mask to the crowd. Reaching ringside, the camera
does the classic rotation that it used to do for her entrances. She then rolls
inside of the ring before standing up and pointing at the ref. She quickly walks
to the corner and rest her head on the top turnbuckle. After a few moments, she
takes off her jacket and then climbs up and then sits on top of the
turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin.
Sharper: “Quinne
has faced everyone in this match. From Gavin, whom she beat at Holly-Wood of
the South, to Syren in the past over the World Title,
and Owen Lee.”
Lyman: “Yeah, and tonight,
she’s amped. She’s jacked. This is a huge moment for her. Back to her home
state and facing some of the best!”
The opening rifts to ‘Here we
Go’ by Chris Classic blasts through the PA, as mist fills the entranceway. The
music stops, a huge explosion rocks the entranceway and Owen jumps, seemingly
through the floor and landing on his feet, dropping to one knee and punching
the floor
“I been more than ready
Preppin' heavy
For this day to come”
Owen gets to his feet, and looks left and right at the reaction he is getting,
a look of focus and determination on his face as Daisy Lee walk out from the
back, and stands behind him.
Phillips: “And finally,
accompanied by Daisy Lee, formerly from Los Angeles, California and now from
Miami, Florida, he is Owen Lee!”
This leads to some boos from
the crowd.
“And so now nothing can stop me
I just grind and work
Yeah yeah, you know the motto
You know we goin' hard cause we might never see
tomorrow”
He begins the walk down to the ring, slapping the hand of anyone who offers,
before sliding in and under the bottom rope as Daisy walks around the ring, and
walks up the steps, bending through the strands.
“I keep my eye on the fakes and got real from it
Mastered patience and free will from it
That's the real motivation some people kill for it
I keep reachin' for greatness because I'm built from
it”
Owen points to the turnbuckle and then runs towards it, bouncing on the middle
ropes and back flipping backwards, landing on both feet. Owen pulls on the top
rope a couple of time, stretching out as his music fades. He then walks over to
Daisy for some last minute words.
Sharper: “Owen Lee, no longer
calling Cali home, but still has roots. His family. The Cruze
family too.”
Knots: “It’s not about that
tonight. For him, he said he was going to win Taking Hold of the Flame. So he wants to come out tonight, send a statement, and then build
on that at Taking Hold of the Flame!”
Lyman: “All four do. And
that’s the beauty. This should be an interesting challenge here. It’s very
different.”
Sharper: “You have to be thrown over the top rope, both feet landing on
the floor. You see the officials at ringside and here we go!”
The bell sounds and Gavin
heads over to Alexis as Syren and Owen pair off.
Gavin walks into a forearm shot by Alexis as she spins him around into the
corner. Alexis kicks him in the ribs as Owen nails Syren
with a shot to the ribs before Syren forearms Owen in
the jaw. They trade blows before Owen kicks Syren in
the ribs. Owen sends Syren then into the corner. Owen
runs after and Syren gets an elbow up. Owen stumbles
back. Syren then hits a double leg takedown. Quinne grabs Gavin and wrenches his arm and tries to move
him to the ropes. She then drops down and goes to lift Gavin up. The crowd
roars. Gavin leans on the top rope, hooking it, as Quinne
tries to hoist Gavin up. Gavin however fights before using his leg as a club
and nailing Alexis in the back of the head and then again. Quinne
staggers off. Gavin drops down.
Sharper: “Hard shots to the
back of the head. Taylor still having a lot of energy. Quinne
trying to eliminate early.”
Knots: “Yeah, while Syren and Owen are just scrapping right now.”
Quinne turns around and Gavin kicks
her in the ribs. She falls to the corner. Gavin then turns as Syren forearms Owen in the jaw and boots her in the face. Syren rolls over. Gavin follows up as Syren
gets up and Gavin nails her with a forearm shiver. She falls back into the
corner. Owen starts to get up and Quinne runs over
and clubs him in the back. She clubs him again and then goes to whip him into
the ropes, but Owen drops low to stop her and whips her into the ropes. Quinne bounces off and Owen goes for a clothesline. Quinne bounces off the other side and jumps up and hits a
flying headscissors. Owen rolls through to the
corner. Gavin forearms Syren again and tries to lift
her up. Syren goes up and over as the crowd roars.
She hooks on as Gavin keeps pushing. Syren goes up
and over to the apron and dives back in.
Sharper: “Syren
just avoiding elimination. Back into the ring.”
Lyman: “This is the issue
here. Do you wear your opponent down or go for a shock or just hope they waste
energy early? They maybe slip. You’re seeing all of
those strategies coming out early.”
Syren gets up as Gavin follows and
elbows her in the back of the head. Quinne runs over
to Owen and goes for a monkey flip. Owen however twists in the air and lands on
his feet. Quinne turns and Owen hits a dropkick. The
crowd roars. Quinne falls to a seated position. Syren moves to the opposite corner as Gavin kicks her in
the ribs. Owen then backs up and looks over to them before running at Quinne and hitting a double knee to her chest. He bounces
back and turns and runs across at Taylor and Syren.
Owen jumps up and Gavin Taylor moves out of the way. Owen lands with a body
avalanche. Gavin then waits for Owen to land on his feet and turn around and
Gavin grabs him and runs him across the ring and goes to throw him up and over.
Owen goes up and over as the crowd roars. Owen holds on, hanging on by the top
rope. He then skins the cat back into the ring. Gavin turns and looks at him.
Sharper: “Owen nearly up and
over!”
Knots: “Here comes Gavin
again!’
Gavin runs at Owen and Owen
drop down and lifts Gavin up and over. Gavin spins through and lands on the
apron. Owen staggers forward and Syren runs across
and moves past Owen and nails Gavin with a running forearm. Gavin holds on with
one arm before spinning down to the apron and rolling back in. The crowd ohs. Syren bounces off and then hits Owen with a Lou Thesz Press. She nails him with a couple of shots and gets
up, but Quinne runs up behind her and twists up and
around and into a flying headscissors. Syren rolls through. She gets up and Quinne
runs over and grabs her head, running up the corner and hitting the Ditzy Tour.
The crowd roars.
Sharper: “Syren
having a huge assault there, but Quinne down. And
much like Taking Hold of the Flame, you’re going to have to keep your head on a
swivel.”
Lyman: “One mistake. One blind
spot. One attack. And it’s over.”
Knots: “Yeah, but Quinne didn’t take her up and over. She drove her down to
the mat.”
Quinne rolls over as Syren holds her head. Owen stirs as Gavin starts to pull
himself up. Quinne stomps Syren
in the back of the head. She rolls over. She moves to the ropes. Quinne stomps her again and then hoists her up and holds
her against the ropes. Gavin enters the ring and runs over and joins Quinne, helping her. The crowd roars as Syren
grabs at the ropes, trying to get any leverage she can. Gavin and Alexis hoist Syren up. The crowd roars as Syren
looks down at the floor. Owen stirs, looking over at them before running over
and coming up behind and lifting Quinne and Gavin up.
They go up and over, but all three land on the apron.
Owen is the only one in the ring. Syren holds on as Quinne rolls back in. Gavin gets up and Owen chops him.
Gavin falls back and against the ringpost before
rolling in. Owen then turns and grabs Syren. He nails
her with a hard forearm and then a chop. Syren holds
on, barely holding on before Owen then backs up and goes for a swinging blow,
but Syren goes low with a shoulder to the ribs. Owen
bends over and backs up and Syren slingshots in with
a leg drop to the back of Owen’s head. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Owen nearly got all
three out, but he’s the one down!”
Lyman: “And there are those
sudden changes. Syren got that shoulder and then slingshotted in.”
Sharper: “Leg drop bulldog and
Owen down.”
Knots: “But now Syren has that target back.”
Syren gets up and Quinne jumps up and hits an enziguri
kick. Syren drops to the mat. Quinne
gets up and Gavin kicks her in the ribs. He hooks her up and hits a vertical suplex. Gavin sits up and gets up as he turns to Quinne. Quinne stirs and Gavin
lifts her up and hoists her up and places on the apron. The crowd roars. Gavin
then nails her in the ribs with a shot before nailing her again. He then backs
up and goes for a Gavin Taylor lariat. Quinne ducks
and runs to the corner. She jumps to the middle rope and dives over as Gavin
turns around and Quinne catches him and hits a spike
DDT. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Quinne
with another hard DDT. Gavin this time the victim.”
Lyman: “Quinne
using her speed. Getting up the corner and then diving over and connecting!”
Quinne rolls over and looks around
as Syren gets up and Quinne
runs over to her and clotheslines her down. Quinne
looks at Syren and stomps her in the chest again as
Owen starts to get up. Quinne sees him getting up and
turns to him only for Owen to blast her with a superkick. The crowd ohs as Quinne falls back, holding her jaw. She rolls over in pain.
Owen holds the back of his head briefly before turning around and going over to
Syren as she stirs. Owen lifts her up and chops her.
She hits the mat. Syren gets up again and Owen kicks
her in the ribs and then runs into the ropes. He bounces off as the crowd
starts to make some noise and Owen hits a running knee lift. Syren falls back. Owen then turns around as Hudson slides
into the ring!
Sharper: “Owen takes down Syren! Wait! Josh Hudson! Where the hell did
he come from?”
Knots: “The crowd?”
Lyman: “No! The rampway.
Everyone was focused on the action in the ring!”
Hudson then grabs Owen and
spins around and throws him over the top rope and to the floor. Owen rolls
through and into the barricade. The crowd boos as Hudson smirks and looks at
him, dusting his hands.
Sharper: “Hudson! Not part of
this match! Coming in and Owen is eliminated! He went over the top rope!”
Knots: “Not like you can be
disqualified in this!”
Hudson then turns and nails Quinne with a hard right as she gets up before kicking Syren as she does for good measure. Hudson shakes her head
before turning to Owen who reaches under the ropes and pulls him down to the
floor by his feet. The crowd cheers. Hudson slides down and Owen nails him with
a hard right. Hudson staggers back. Owen nails him again and again. He backs up
and runs at Hudson. Hudson lifts him up, but Owen jumps up and lands on the
steel steps and hops over. Hudson then spins around and runs at Owen and nails
him with a hard right. Owen fights back and the crowd roars as the two trade
blows in the entrance way.
Sharper:
“Hudson and Lee fighting in the entrance way! On the floor!”
Knots:
“Hudson had the advantage. He wanted to take a few shots on other people he
doesn’t like!”
Hudson
and Lee continue to trade blows as we see some of the officials on the floor
try to get them apart. Daisy looks on as Gavin gets up in the ring and turns
over to Quinne and kicks her in the ribs. He runs her
over to the corner, driving her head first. Syren starts to get up and Gavin nails her in the ribs with
a shot. Hudson is pulled away from Owen Lee by officials and security who come
from the back. Hudson is pulled back and turns around. He puts his arm in the
air as he walks to the back. Owen just looks at him, staying back as officials
keep remaining in between the two. Back in the ring, Gavin scoop slams Syren. Quinne walks out and Gavin
scoop slams her.
Sharper:
“As Hudson and Lee are broken up by security, Gavin Taylor taking over in the
ring. Scoop slams for both Syren and Quinne.”
Lyman:
“He’s keeping it simple. He almost has to. He wants to
win this. Think about the bragging rights. To win something with the level of
talent in this four way!”
Gavin
then looks at both before running into the ropes. He bounces off and jumps up
with a double elbow drop. Gavin rolls over and gets up. Syren
and Quinne both start to stir, holding their chests.
Gavin looks around and motions to the crowd. He then runs into the ropes. He
bounces off and nails Syren with the Gavin Taylor
Lariat. The crowd erupts in cheers. Gavin stops and turns and points at Quinne. Quinne starts to get up
and Gavin runs at her and hits her with the Gavin Taylor Lariat. Gavin throws
his arms up in the air as the crowd cheers. A “Gavin!” chant begins as Gavin
turns around and grabs Quinne.
Sharper:
“Gavin with two Gavin Taylor Lariats!”
Knots:
“He got both of them!”
Sharper:
“Now going after Quinne. He wants to eliminate Syren last!”
Gavin
drags Quinne up and runs her to the ropes. Quinne is a bit out of it as Gavin hoists her up and tries
to lift her up and over. Quinne starts to resist as
Gavin uses his strength and hoists her up. Quinne
kicks her legs before dropping down to the apron. Gavin then backs up and
stomps her in chest and then again and again. Quinne
hangs on as the crowd makes noise. Gavin then stomps her a fourth time before
looking down and turning, but Syren lunges and nails
him with a Bittersweet Ending and Gavin goes up and over the top rope and to
the floor, landing in front of the announce table. The crowd ohs. Many cheer,
some boo.
Sharper:
“Gavin got tunnel-visioned and he thought he had Quinne. But Syren, ever
resilient, with the superkick and Gavin is out!”
Lyman:
“Just heartbreaking!”
Sharper:
“Watch Quinne! The match is still going!”
Syren gets
up, having fallen to her knees from the superkick. She turns as Quinne springboards to the top rope and jumps forward with
a springboard meteora. The crowd ohs. Quinne rolls through. She gets up as Syren
rolls over. Quinne steps up and forearms Syren in the jaw and then again before spinning around with
a back fist. Syren staggers. Quinne
runs into the ropes, bouncing off and Syren then
scoops her up on the rebound and hits a huge tilt-a-whirl slam. The crowd ohs. Syren rolls away and winces a bit before getting up. Quinne holds her lower back as she rolls to the ropes.
Sharper:
“Quinne dropped Syren, but Syren using her strength and planted Quinne
into the mat with the tilt-a-whirl.”
Knots:
“Both showing the impact of all of the high impact.”
Lyman:
“That’s one difference between tonight and Taking Hold of the Flame. The Flame
is a marathon. This is turning into more of a sprint!”
Syren gets
up as Quinne grabs at the ropes. Syren
runs at Quinne and Quinne
jumps up and hits a boot to the face. Syren stumbles
back as Quinne backflips through to the apron. Syren turns around and Quinne
slingshots over into a bulldog. Syren rolls over and Quinne gets up. Quinne grabs her
by the head and lifts her up and runs her over to the corner. She drives her
face first. Syren stumbles back as Quinne grabs her and tries to push her over the top rope.
She places Syren on the top rope. The crowd roars as Quinne keeps lifting her up. Syren
struggles as the crowd looks on. The officials are right in position as Quinne lifts Syren up, but Syren counters with an elbow to the jaw and then another.
She drops down. Quinne stumbles back. Syren then runs out with a clothesline. The crowd roars. Syren walks around the ring. Quinne
slowly gets up and turns and Syren walks over to her
and grabs her only for Quinne to jump up and go for a
jawbreaker. Syren blocks it and then knees her in the
ribs. She whips her into the corner. Syren runs after
and Quinne gets a boot up. Syren
stumbles back and Quinne watches as she runs out and
goes for a flying headscissors, but Syren again counters with a sitout
facebuster. The crowd ohs.
Sharper:
“And again! Syren with another counter. These two
former World Champions going back and forth.”
Lyman:
“Counter for counter. High impact move for high impact move!”
Syren rolls
back as Quinne rolls over and starts to get up. Syren walks over to Quinne and
grabs her. Quinne then nails her in the ribs once and
then again before Syren knees her in the ribs and
spins her around and throws her over the top rope. Quinne
goes up and over and lands on the floor. The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Syren thrusts her arms out in joy.
Phillips:
“Here is your winner of this over the top rope
challenge, Syren!”
Sharper:
“Syren victorious as she used her strength, her size
advantage and Quinne over the top to the floor!”
Knots:
“You can only hang on for so long and you can only hang on if you can grab onto
the top rope. Quinne tried, but Syren
made sure to throw her farther, making it harder and here you go.”
Sharper:
“Syren getting the bragging rights tonight!”
Syren looks
around, amped up as she walks over to the ropes and climbs up to the middle
rope and looks out at the crowd. She hops down to the middle of the ring as we
see Jessica Winters walking to the ring and up the steel steps before stepping
into the ring. She walks forward, microphone in hand. Syren
looks around and turns to Jessica.
Sharper:
“And Jessica Winters is going to get some words from the winner, Syren. Winning in her hometown! Jessica?”
Winters:
“Thank you Adam. Syren…congratulations. You’ve
returned to your hometown…”
The
crowd cheers.
Winters:
“And you’ve walked out the victor, against three others who have called this
state home in some way or another. A brief preview of Taking Hold of the Flame
and Syren, you’ve noted frustration last week. You’ve
talked about the importance of the battle royal. I know this isn’t the same
thing, but it has to feel good.”
Syren: “I
came back home and reminded everyone that it may have a new name, but this is
still my house!”
The
crowd cheers as Syren looks around.
Syren:
“People can say what they want about me. Over the last year, I’ve had one goal.
A goal that I’ve gotten THIS close to reaching again. I was THIS close to
getting there in Atlanta. But Adam Allocco had to ruin that. And here I am…now
with Taking Hold of the Flame as my best chance to get back to the top. To get
back to the World Title. To try and win it one more time and…I’ve not forgotten
what Mr. D himself said…There is very little I have not achieved. But that…that
is something I will remember forever. So about this
match? Not the same thing?”
Syren
shakes her head and turns to Jessica.
Syren: “It
may not be the same thing. But if there is anyone in the back, anyone at home,
anyone contacted by SCW to return, whatever it is, looking to take Taking Hold
of the Flame and win…you will have to get through me!”
The
crowd cheers as Syren looks at the camera.
Winters:
“Well Syren, I’m sure you’ve studied the list of
known entrants thus far and you’ve got your focus. You’ve been in many Taking
Hold of the Flames. Last year, we recall how it was
taken away from you, thanks to Asher Hayes…”
As
Winters speaks, the crowd roars as we see Nicole Kinneck
storming to the back, clearly with Pro in the driver seat. Pro storms to the
ring and rolls into the ring.
Winters:
“And I know that is a moment you will not forget for a variety of reasons-….Hey-“
Winters
turns as Nicole gets up and Syren notices her, but
before Syren can even react, Nicole then drops low
and takes Syren down with a double leg takedown. The
crowd erupts with a roar of cheers, and then boos. Nicole then nails Syren with a series of hard forearm shots to the jaw and
then another and another before then just grabbing at the face and the eyes. Syren tries to get free, trying to pry Nicole’s hands and
fingers away. Nicole keeps trying.
Winters:
“Get help! We need help out here!”
Sharper:
“Nicole Kinneck just storming out here. Pro, I should
say, and she’s going after Syren. She’s going for the
eyes!”
Knots:
“It’s Ravyn she has her problem with!”
Sharper:
“Syren fighting for her life! She just had a hard fought match!”
Syren keeps
fighting as Nicole keeps going for Syren. We then see
Gavin Taylor running out from the back. A few strides behind him are a few of
the officials. They head down as Gavin slides in. Nicole keeps trying to get at
Syren. Syren swats at
Nicole’s arms and tries to cradle them and do whatever she can as Nicole
singularly is focused on going for the face and seemingly rearranging her
facial features. The crowd buzzes as Gavin comes in and grabs Prom pulling her off of Syren.
Sharper:
“Gavin Taylor helping the woman who just beat him!”
Lyman:
“They came to an understanding last week. He’s not staying out of her way though!”
Pro
fights and pushes away and turns and runs back over to Syren
as Syren starts to get up
and Gavin runs over and stops her. Nicole then turns and looks at Gavin before
getting right in his face. Gavin looks at her. Syren
looks up and starts to get up as officials reach the ring. Nicole then turns
and points at Syren before yelling at her.
Nicole
(Pro): “You like messages. You’re going to be mine!”
Nicole
backs up and rolls to the floor. She turns and throws her arms up in anger as
Gavin turns and watches her. Syren glares at her
Nicole walks around the ring and to the entrance way. Officials stay by her in
case she changes her mind.
Backstage,
we see Datura backstage on her phone. She paces a bit before she brings it
down, pressing the screen.
Datura:
“Of course she’s not answering. Why would she? This…”
Datura
sighs.
Datura:
“How could you be so naïve, Liz!”
Datura
shakes her head before turning as Christy Matthews walks up to her. Datura
looks at her.
Datura:
“Here to finish what we started?”
Christy:
“Looks like you’re already kicking your ass.”
Datura
looks at the phone before putting it down on the storage crate next to her.
Datura:
“Just trying to understand the reality in front of me.”
Christy:
“Good luck there. But do know you screwed up.”
Datura:
“Maybe…I don’t know-“
Christy:
“I’m not talking about the Jordan stuff. That’s your deal. I’m talking about
Autumn. She’s been fighting for these chances forever. She should be Adrenaline
Champion. You took that away from her because you couldn’t wait.”
Datura
just looks at Christy, her gaze boring a hole through her forehead.
Christy:
“Do me a favour. If you turn your attention back to
Holly, just don’t.”
Datura:
“So you’re not longer happy just being there. Fighting for what’s right. That’s
what you claimed? Is there anything right anymore?”
Christy:
“No…and depends who’s answering.”
Christy
walks off as Datura watches her leave and the scene fades to commercial.
COMMERCIALS
Backstage,
Polly Playtime is standing next to Jaina Lancaster.
Lancaster:
“Welcome back to Breakdown. I’m Jaina Lancaster here
with Polly Playtime-“
Playtime:
“I beat you so badly you needed to retire and go back to being an interviewer.”
Lancaster:
“Let’s just get through the interview.”
Playtime:
“Good on you to recognize your limits. More people should. I mean could I have
been in the four way we just saw. Yeah, I could. I wish someone would recognize
my limits. They aren’t there. I just need the opportunity and yet here I am
watching and talking instead of doing. Instead of playing. And well, that’s
going to change at Taking Hold of the Flame, don’t get me wrong there-“
Just
then, Nicole Kinneck, with Pro in the driver’s seat,
storms into the scene. She shoves Polly out of the way and grabs the
microphone.
Kinneck: “Got
the hint Ravyn. I know you’re smart. You’ll figure it
out. But you’ve messed with someone who I care about
so I’ll go after ANYONE and EVERYONE you care about too if you want to play
that. Maybe end some dreams at Taking Hold of the Flame?! Maybe I’ll dig up Roy
and piss in his skull. You’d like that…if he exists-“
Polly
comes back up and shoves Kinneck back. Kinneck shoves her. Jaina backs
up as Polly and Kinneck start to grab at one another
before officials come into the scene and break them up.
We see
the Taking Hold of the Flame logo come up on the screen. We then see a still of
Selena Frost vs. Giovanni “GiGi” Aries follow.
Sharper:
“Pro is on the warpath!”
Knots:
“That’s one way to put it!”
Sharper:
“Meanwhile, while some are focused on Taking Hold of the Flame, well, we can
tell you this. Lexy’s attempts seem to have not worked thus far.”
Knots:
“Cruze only said he’d not make an announcement for
tonight regarding Ace!”
Lyman:
“May not be any announcement. Giovanni Aries will be challenging Selena Frost
for the World Championship at Taking Hold of the Flame.”
Sharper:
“Only a brief break from the Brand. Selena back against them, but against
Giovanni, who made clear, he’s pinned her.”
BELIEVE IT!
The SCW Universe are on their feet as “Kings and Queens” by Ava Max as plays
throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as,
out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of
the SCW Universe. The SCW World Championship is around her waist.
Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as
she lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm
upward, her back arm lifted behind her to the sky. With a lift of her
right foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like
ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!
The Winter’s Knight walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the
“snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under
the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring,
she lifts her hand up to give a twirl as the lights form to make a massive
snowflake under her. Stopping her spin and lowering her hand back down, towards
the audience, once again palm upright, a smirk graces her lips, her other arm
lifting to the sky once more. With a slam of her foot, Selena caused the
snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice
streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out blue sparkles of
light as the lights return to normal. She smirks as she then walks over to the
corner and grabs a microphone waiting for her. Selena returns to the middle of
the ring.
Sharper: “She knows her
opponent and we already saw Selena and Giovanni get into a face
to face last week.”
Lyman: “They don’t like each
other. No surprise there.”
Selena looks around.
Selena: “So it is now
official…I will be defending my World Championship against Giovanni Aries…GiGi apparently…at Taking Hold of the Flame.”
Selena pauses for a moment.
The crowd roars.
Selena: “I guess I shouldn’t
be surprised on one hand. The Brand has been a thorn in my side for the last
six months. I seem to never be able to shake them, like the bad infomercials
that play in the middle of the ring.”
Selena looks at the crowd.
Selena: “But I can’t help but
be disappointed. I look at this roster and I see so many competitors.
Competitors with track records. I can say I don’t care for Tommy Valentine, but
he gave me a match both of us could be proud of. Of course, he’ll disagree as
he lost. But I look up and down this roster, while people like Ace Marshall is pissed they needed to actually win, one on one, get the pin
to get the shot…or Giovanni Aries who has to manipulate weak-minded people…who
has to partner with the lowest of the lowest in Holly Adams and Cid Turner. Who
frankly shouldn’t even be in this promotion after what he did a year ago?”
Selena pauses.
Selena: “Especially since
unlike Owen, I can’t see a iota of remorse in him.
While people like Syren fight and scratch and claw
for everything. While people like Glory Braddock represent a class of wrestler
at the top. While people like Alexis Quinne is the
fighting spirit we should all have….We have a
challenger who wants to now make money, and wants to push his fake Namaste bullcrap on us all.”
Knots: “Wonder what she thinks
of what Jenni Anderson tried to pull earlier then!”
Selena looks around.
Selena: “This is 2022. We’ve
had the egomaniacs at the top of the card. We’ve had the groups that did
everything to hold onto this title. Why not try something novel? Two people
enter and one leaves and we leave it all in the ring
to see who’s the best. Glory, Syren, Quinne…no matter their pasts, I trust them to do it. You, GiGi…I don’t trust you for one damn moment-“
The crowd cheers before suddenly
we hear the sound of a door open that rings out over
the arena as we then hear the words
|| WELCOME ||
|| TO ||
|| THE ||
|| HAÜS OF NIRVANA ||
‘Instant Karma’ by John Lennon begins to play as the arena. Selena turns as we
see Giovanni Aries walk out from the back, a smug smirk on his face. He looks
down at the ring in his all white attire. He then
extends his hands, microphone in one of them, and starts to walk to the ring.
Sharper: “And we may be about
to see another face to face encounter between these
two!”
Knots: “GiGi
is coming right to the ring. Selena’s not moving an inch.”
Giovanni reaches the ring,
bringing his arms down and then pulls himself onto the apron. He looks at
Selena before stepping into the ring. He then steps forward, only to be a
couple of feet in front of her. Selena and GiGi lock
eyes as Giovanni chuckles a bit. His music fades out.
He then brings the microphone up. He chuckles some more into the microphone.
Selena: “Get it out. Get out all of the laughter, the mindgames…whatever
you think you need to do to get ahead.”
Giovanni: “What I need to do
to get ahead? I’m not the one with any mind games. I’m merely a man who has
earned their title shot and I’m not the one engaging in mental gymnastics to
discredit it!”
Selena: “Let me make this
clear – I don’t think you deserve a damn thing!”
The crowd cheers.
Giovanni: “Too bad you do not
make that choice. Although you have claimed you take on all comers.”
Selena: “I may not think you
deserve it. I will still defend this title to make sure you don’t get it.”
Giovanni: “Why don’t you think
I deserve it? Why? Tell the world. Tell your True Believers! While Holly and I
may have tried to expose you some four months ago. You can expose yourself now.
I am not Ace where a disqualification is good enough. Although the man clearly
needs help. Perhaps he should consider the Brand’s services…”
Selena rolls her eyes.
Giovanni: “I did pin you in
the middle of the ring. Did I not? Back in November. I have not forgotten. You
can blame an overzealous fan all you want. You just can’t handle that you can’t
control your fans, oh Face of SCW. You think that pinfall victory is tainted.
You care about integrity. Well, Selena, if that’s the case, then take that
title and toss it down, walk away, and declare yourself unfit because the
moment Kimberly Williams handed you a win over Holly, you still happily went on
calling yourself champion!”
Selena: “And I proved myself
at Retribution. I proved myself as champion by going through five others. By
beating Holly Adams with no controversy! And you know what…screw it…I at least know and these fans all know that I care about one thing and
that is making this title representative of the best! You…it’s a gimmick for
more buys to manipulate those who need ACTUAL help.”
Giovanni smiles.
Giovanni: “And now we get to
it. Because Selena, we do help. How many people say I’ve manipulated poor
Samuel…or his mutual life partner…they are more relevant than they’ve been.
They have their stardom. They just have to part with some money to get it. And
at Taking Hold of the Flame, Samuel will shock the world when he becomes the
number one contender to the SCW World Championship. When he challenges for the
World Title at Rise to Greatness!”
Selena: “And I will be sick if
that’s the case.”
Giovanni: “Will he not have
earned it…getting through the other 39. Too bad again, that won’t be your
choice because you won’t be in the conversation. Because I will take your
title. Taking Hold of the Flame will be our night…and Rise to Greatness will be
the greatest promotion of them all as the teacher and the student collide in front
of the world and before you say I cannot stop you…I have beaten you many times
in the past, Snow Queen.”
Selena: “And I’ve torn through
the Brand, Gleebnorb and I will tear down the Haus of
Cards! You can have your hopes for the perfect Brand promotion. I will stand
for the integrity of this title. I will stand for facing you and making sure
you do not hold this title. And as for your perfect plan…then let’s test it.
Samuel Davis is a new man. Then I will even show you how confident I am that
the Holly Adams Brand, the Haus of Nirvana, the Positive State…NONE of it will
be on top. Next week, one on one…how about this, I’ll give you a taste of
Taking Hold of the Flame first hand when I expose
Samuel Davis and your teachings for the fraud they are.”
Giovanni chuckles again.
Giovanni: “Go to Shaun. He’ll
give you what you want. He seems to be willing to give everyone what they want.
It’s why he will crumble too. And I’ll have nothing to do with it. But you will
crumple before the Haus, Selena. Samuel will be ready. And after Taking Hold of
the Flame, what will you stand for when everything you claim to is worth nothing at all!”
Giovanni pauses and leans into
Selena.
Giovanni: “Well for seven easy
payments-“
Selena: “For free I’ll kick
your ass. So save the pitch, you’ll need to try a hell
of a lot farther when I complete the trifecta. I beat Cid for the title. I beat
Holly Adams and if you doubt it, watch Retribution again. And GiGi, I will beat you at Taking Hold of the Flame and face
whoever EARNS their right to challenge for this title on the biggest stage of
wrestling! BELIEVE IT!”
“Kings and Queens” plays
throughout the arena as the crowd cheers Selena. Giovanni Aries backs up and
smirks before dropping down to the floor. Selena stands her ground.
Sharper: “You can feel the
hatred between them.”
Knots: “No duh. But Selena may
be confident, let’s be clear – Giovanni Aries has had Selena’s number before.”
Sharper: “And we now know what
this is all about. Giovanni Aries wants to use Rise to Greatness to promote
everything he, Holly, and Cid are working for.”
Knots: “Imagine if Samuel
Davis wins?!”
Sharper: “While on the other
side, Selena Frost is standing to stop all of it. Her battle for integrity
continues with perhaps it most serious threat!”
Lyman: “But if anyone can
stand to the challenge for Giovanni Aries, it is her.”
Giovanni Aries slowly backs up
the rampway, watching Selena as Selena continues to glare at him. The crowd
looks on cheering Selena and some booing GiGi, while
some cheer him as the scene cuts away.
Breakdown
cuts backstage as we see Holly Adams talking to her crew members.
Holly:
“Make sure you get good stuff for her. I mean, we don’t need all
of the failed attempts. She’s got enough failure in her life. Maybe
focus more on Samuel and-“
Holly
turns as we see Jaina Lancaster. Holly turns back.
Holly:
“Hold on a moment.”
Holly
turns to Jaina.
Holly:
“Jaina! Bree’s niece or something. How is puttyface doing? The demon spawn out yet.”
Jaina: “You
know it is. I don’t like that I’m the one assigned to this but-“
Holly:
“To what? To me? You want me on your show. I know. You had to have a pay per
view named after me and you need me all over, at least until GiGi takes out Selena.”
Jaina:
“About that. I wanted to ask…you’ve been clear you should be World Champion.
How do you feel about Giovanni getting the title shot? I mean you were standing
on Sammy-“
Holly:
“Samuel. Please don’t use his failure name. It’s triggering.”
Jaina:
“Samuel. You clearly were angling for the attention.”
Holly:
“I don’t angle for anything. I just draw it and as for GiGi
getting the title shot. Good for him. I just care that someone causes Selena to
trip fall, break her face, and then reveal to the world that she’s been a fraud
her entire life! But that’s all. I don’t have any ill will to anyone about a
situation when I should’ve been World Champion months ago. So
is that all? Got your sound bite?”
Jaina:
“Uh…yeah…Great.”
Holly:
“Perfect. Now…where the hell is she? We need to get her ready for her amazing
showing and turning things around.”
Holly
turns back and over to her crew as Jaina slips out of
the scene and the scene fades to black.

Breakdown
opens up backstage as Selena Frost walks over to
Deanna.
Selena:
“You don’t need to be waiting for me to get back, mom.”
Deanna:
“Hey. I’m just making sure. They clearly had no problem jumping us before.”
Selena:
“I don’t know…something feels different. We’ll know next week.”
Deanna:
“I’ll be there as we know GiGi or whatever the hell
he’s being called will be.”
Selena:
“Yeah.”
Deanna:
“About that though…I noticed you didn’t mention someone.”
Selena:
“Oh…did I not?”
Selena
looks at Deanna.
Deanna:
“Thank you.”
Selena:
“No problem. You said it’s your fight. It’s yours. Plus, she may be the only
one who deserves a shot less than Ace or GiGi.”
Deanna:
“Don’t get me started. Now I know why you have a few grey hairs.”
Selena:
“I do not!”
Deanna
sticks her tongue out as Selena as Selena playfully backhands her shoulder
before they head off.
Adam
Allocco vs. Hairless Penguin
The arena lights shutter off.
A single beam of golden light is cast down onto the center of the stage, accompanied
by a loud bass rumbling from the sound system. A light snowfall of sliver
confetti falls within the pillar of light. The rough guitar chords of 'Wired'
by JJ Wilder strike the sound system. Adam steps out, head hung low, into the
light. He slowly looks up, a blinding flash of light
accompanies him dropping down onto his knee. He raises his arms, almost as if
he's calling out to God.
Phillips: “The following
contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring,
from Rochester, New York, he is the Renaissance Man, Adam Allocco!”
“Fast cars good life what you waiting for?
Grow up perfect life knocking at your door
I’ve been working for myself since seventeen
Taking orders getting low on self-esteem”
Adam stands up and shoots a pose where he flexes his biceps before kicking his
foot up into the air and swinging towards the ramp. He saunters down slowly,
while he cocks a wily smile toward any nearby cameras. He forms a triangle with
both hands.
“Wake up, same clothes, off I go to hell again
Making money, sinking when I’m trying to swim
I’m tired but I know a guy that has a cure for that
I’m wired, that’s the only way that I stay golden….”
Adam struts up the ring steps, now whipping his jacket to reveal his rehabbed
midsection, then posing once more against the ropes out on the apron. He kicks
up and over and lands on his feet. He tosses the jacket to the referee
nonchalantly.
“There’s something better than this
I crack my teeth, bite down and grab it
Need something better than this
Break through the prison of my habits”
Adam immediately heads over to a corner and forms the triangle hand gesture
again.
Sharper: “Adam Allocco
returning to SCW at Holly-Wood of the South. He attacked Adam Allocco. And then
last week, he and Ace went face to face and brawled. Tonight, he returns to the
ring.”
Lyman: “And some things stay
the same. Lexy Chapel sending LexyCorp to get some
revenge for what Adam did. Adam Allocco is going to have to deal with one half
of the World Tag Team Champions!”
The crowd roars as jaunty and
generic royalty free music begins to play throughout the arena. On the big
screen, a unicorn gallops across a beautiful, flowery field, leaving petals
exploding into the air underneath its hooves. It gets closer to the camera as
it prepares to fly off, but not before evacuating its bowels, which take the
form of letters in a bubble font, reading:
Lexy Chapel Presents
HAPPY FARMSTEAD FRIENDS
From behind the curtain,
Dancing Bear awkwardly moonwalks out onto the stage. Following close behind is
Hairless Penguin, clad in his mask and a furry black and white coat that runs
all the way to his feet, plus a moderately priced nylon string guitar held over
his shoulder. The two make their way to the center of the stage before Lexy
Chapel makes her way out behind them, squeezing in between them to take her
place on center stage. She physically and literally presents them with her arms
at her sides. Hairless Penguin poses stoically while Dancing Bear flosses. Lexy
holds their Tag Team Championships. After a moment of fantastical posing, they
begin to make their way down the ramp.
Phillips: “His opponent,
accompanied by Lexy Chapel and The Dancing Bear and representing LexyCorp, from the Farmstead, he is one half of the SCW
World Tag Team Champions, he is the Hairless Penguin!”
Lexy barks at Dancing Bear to
keep dancing as he jigs down the ramp with Hairless Penguin playing guitar
along to the royalty free music. Hairless Penguin makes his way up the steps
and into the ring, holding his guitar into the air. Behind him, Dancing Bear
struggles to get into the ring because he's in an oversized suit, but he
eventually gets there. Lexy takes her place on the outside of the ring,
searching for the nearest child to remind them to tell their parents to buy
some Happy Farmstead Friends merchandise. Hairless Penguin hands his furry coat
and guitar off to the timekeeper before taking his place in the corner. Dancing
Bear comes along and puts his arm around Hairless Penguin as their royalty free
music begins to fade. Lexy continues to hold the titles.
Sharper: “Hairless Penguin
going to have a tough challenge here.”
Knots: “Adam could too.
Dancing Bear and Hairless Penguin have found ways to win matches. Did anyone
think they’d be holding the titles?”
Sharper: “True, but they also
do their best work as a team.”
The bell sounds and Dancing
Bear turns and pumps up Hairless Penguin before turning around and stepping up
and threatening Adam. Adam then walks up and nails him with a hard right.
Dancing Bear staggers back and Adam jumps up and hits a beautiful dropkick.
Bear falls back through the ropes to the floor. Adam then gets up and Penguin
runs over and clubs him in the back. He clubs him again and again as the crowd
roars. Penguin then pushes Adam to the ropes and fires him across the ring.
Adam bounces off and Penguin just nails him with a double sledge. Adam hits the
mat and rolls over. He gets up and moves to the corner. Penguin follows up.
Sharper: “Wild start here.
Dancing Bear threatening Adam instead of leaving. He’s on the floor while
Penguin taking advantage.”
Knots: “And working over Adam
in the corner!”
Penguin then nails Adam with a
couple of hard right hands. The official, Aaron Demitra,
tells him to stop with the closed fists. Penguin turns to him and then back to
Adam before kicking him in the ribs. He goes to whip Adam across the ring, but
Adam spins through and sends Penguin in. Penguin hits the corner and runs out
and Adam hits a back drop. Penguin rolls over and gets
up, holding his back and Adam chops him in the chest. The crowd woos. He chops
him again. More woos. Penguin falls to the ropes. Adam whips him across.
Penguin bounces off and Adam hits a back elbow. Penguin hits the mat. He pops
up and turns to the ropes. Adam follows up and kicks him in the ribs. Penguin
moves to the corner and Adam follows up with a back elbow to the jaw.
Sharper: “Hard back elbow.
Adam’s experience playing a role here.”
Lyman: “Just keeping Penguin
back against the corner and if he comes out, making him have to move.”
Sharper: “Just smothering him
with that offense. Right now, mostly strikes based.”
Adam then elbows Penguin
again. Penguin staggers out from the corner and turns around. Adam grabs him in
a clinch and then pulls him into a left knee and then a right knee before
backing up and hitting a knee lift. Penguin falls back and Adam goes for the
lateral press.

Penguin kicks out. Adam gets

hits a snap suplex. Penguin winces and rolls over.
Dancing Bear points at Adam as Adam mockingly points back at him before turning
to Penguin as he starts to get up and nails him with a hard knee to the ribs.
Penguin falls to the corner. Adam then grabs him and pulls him out with a snapmare. He runs into the ropes and goes for a running
knee. He nails Penguin. Adam goes for another pin.
1!
2!
Penguin kicks out again. Adam
turns and grabs him by the head.
Sharper: “Hard knee and again
Penguin just getting that shoulder up.”
Lyman: “This could be a long
night for him.”
Knots: “Or short if Adam hits
a few more shots like that!”
Adam drags Penguin up. He then
whips him into the corner. Adam runs after and Penguin jumps up and goes to
float over. Adam however catches him. He turns and Penguin rakes his eyes. He
drops down. He takes a moment to catch his breath as Adam winces and holds his
face in pain. He turns around and runs at Penguin and Penguin gets an elbow up.
Adam stumbles back and Penguin runs out and hits a spinning heel kick. The
crowd ohs and Penguin turns and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Allocco kicks out. Penguin
rolls off as Adam rolls over. Penguin watches him and clubs him in the back. He
then grabs him and whips him into the corner. Adam hits the corner and Penguin
turns and runs after and nails him with a running elbow into the corner. The
crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Hard back elbow.
Penguin just throwing his body at Allocco.”
Knots: “It generally works for
him. I mean have you seen a Penguin fight? Just as they do it.”
Lyman: “They do not.”
Knots: “They do on the
Farmstead! They do that to close the distance before someone pulls out a
knife!”
Penguin then sees Adam before
grabbing him and running out with a bulldog. He rolls him over and hooks the
leg.
1!
2!
Adam kicks out. The crowd
cheers. We cut to the crowd to see Alix Mayne again in the crowd, again taking
notes. The camera remains on her for a moment as we cut back to see Penguin
stumbling back, Adam on his knees. Penguin shakes it off and runs at Adam who
kicks him in the ribs. He then hooks his head and leg and hits a fisherman’s suplex. He lets go for the leg and swivels his hips. He
starts to pull Penguin up again. The crowd roars and Adam hooks his leg again
and throws him back with another fisherman’s suplex.
He lets go and swivels his hips. Penguin however starts to fight as they get up
and Allocco drops into a small package.
1!
2!
Penguin just kicks out. He
rolls over and gets up and turns and Adam hits a high knee, sending Penguin
through the ropes to the apron.
Sharper: “Another stiff knee.
Adam using those knees well. Just Penguin has no answer.”
Knots: “Well he does. It’s called
taking them with his jaw.”
Penguin grabs at the ropes,
struggling. Bear keeps yelling at Adam. Adam then walks over to Penguin and
grabs him by the mask and Penguin suddenly counters with a guillotine drop.
Adam falls back, holding his throat. He starts to get up as Penguin climbs up
to the top rope. He looks at Adam as Adam steps forward. Penguin hits a Denver
Diving Kick. Adam goes down. Penguin drops down and jumps forward for the pin.
1!
2!
Adam gets his shoulder up. The
crowd ohs. Penguin rolls over as Adam stirs. Penguin then gets up and grabs
Adam and pulls him up. He grabs him by the head. He then runs at the corner,
going for a tornado DDT. He connects and then turns and goes for another pin.
1!
2!
Adam gets his shoulder up
again. He rolls over as Penguin looks up. Dancing Bear smacks the apron as Lexy
yells at the official. Penguin then grabs Adam and pulls him up and throws him
into the corner. Adam falls forward down to the bottom of the corner. Penguin
walks over and places him in a seated position before stomping him in the
chest. He walks back and over to the opposite side of the ring. He then runs
across and goes for the LIGMA, but Adam moves out of the way. Penguin hits and
bounces back, landing on his back, holding himself.
Sharper: “No one home for
Hairless Penguin as he went right for it.”
Knots: “If the turnbuckles
weren’t there, this would’ve gone so much worse!”
Lyman: “But Adam Allocco with
an opening as Penguin squanders what’s been his best chance so far!”
Adam then starts to get up as
Penguin rolls over, kicking at the mat. He starts to get up and Adam then drags
him up as we see Ace Marshall storming to the ring, steel chair in his hand.
The crowd roars as Adam then lifts Penguin and throws him. Penguin’s arm
catches the official in the jaw. Demitra drops to the
mat and starts to recover. Adam then backs up to the ropes, but as he does, Ace
walks up and waylays him in the back with the chair. Adam falls forward and Penguin
grabs him and locks in the Balls Deep. Demitra turns.

3!
The bell sounds as the crowd
roars. Penguin rolls over, holding himself and Adam rolls over and starts to
get up as Ace rolls into the ring.
Phillips: “Here is your
winner, via pinfall-“
Sharper: “Penguin wins thanks
to an assist from Ace Marshall!”
Knots: “And now. Oh boy!”
Lyman: “He’s got that chair!”
Ace then slams the chair into
the back of Adam. The crowd ohs. Ace lifts it up and nails him again and then
again and again. The crowd ohs with each shot as Adam tries to cover up.
Sharper: “Ace Marshall has
snapped. He’s dismantling Adam Allocco with that steel chair!”
Knots: “Lexy Chapel is just
looking at him slackjawed. She can’t believe it. She
thinks he’s normal?!”
Ace continues his assault,
nailing him again and again. The crowd ohs with each other as Dancing Bear
comes over to Lexy and tries to shield her eyes. Penguin just looks on, shocked
as he leans in the corner. Demitra tries to get Ace
to stop, but Ace threatens him. Demitra bails as Ace
nails Adam in the back again. He then steps over him.
Ace: “I even jump people
better than you. Cost me a title shot. Well, Adam, let’s see if we can get you
back drinking you pathetic bastard!”
Ace then nails Adam again in
the shoulder and then swings, nailing him again. He throws the chair down as Adam
rolls over, writhing in pain. Ace walks around the ring, his rage emanating off of him. He then looks at Lexy before turning back to
Adam and stepping through the floor and dropping down. He then heads to the
back. Lexy looks around before turning and pulling away from the Dancing Bear
and going after Ace. Demitra checks on Allocco as
even Penguin does too, still stunned by Ace’s outburst.

MOMENTS AGO:
We see a still of Ace Marshall
standing over Adam Allocco with a steel chair.
Sharper:
“Welcome back to Breakdown. A stunning attack by Ace Marshall on Adam Allocco
just moments ago!”
Ace slams the chair into Adam’s back again and then again
and again. The crowd ohs with each shot as Adam tries to cover up.
Lyman: “He just snapped. This
was as violent of an attack we’ve seen from Ace. First Matt Hodges a few weeks
ago. Now Adam Allocco.”
We cut forward. Ace then nails Adam again in the shoulder
and then swings, nailing him again. He throws the chair down as Adam rolls
over, writhing in pain.
The Breakdown logo
comes up on the screen.
We see Lexy Chapel jogging
backstage.
Lexy: “Ace! Wait!”
Lexy continues to jog forward
and out of the building to the parking area. We then hear a door slam and a car
drive off.
Lexy: “Hey! Ace! You forgot
me!”
Lexy stops as she watches the
car driving off. Lexy then shrugs.
Lexy: “Probably just getting
our dinner reservations. Something wrong with him…”
Lexy shakes her head and walks
off.
Sarah Wolf
vs. 🍑
“When I Am Queen” by Jack Off
Jill plays throughout the arena. The camera pans around to show the crowd
waiting in anticipation as the music continues to play. After a few moments,
the crowd roars as a woman covered in tattoos with a shaved head is seen
hopping the barricade and quickly sliding into the ring. Jason Phillips
flinches in surprise as the woman walks by him before leaning up against the
ropes and looking out into the crowd. Phillips shrugs and brings the microphone
up to his mouth.
Phillips: “The following contest
is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen
minute time limit. Introducing first, from Nowhere, she is Sarah Wolf!”
Wolf nods as she continues to
look out into the crowd.
Sharper: “Well, that’s Sarah
Wolf. Opting to enter through the crowd tonight for her SCW debut. What can you
tell us about Wolf, Simon?”
Lyman: “You can see her unique
look there, but if you managed to catch her video message to the fans this
week, you’ll know that her tongue is as sharp as her appearance. If she can
back her words up, then expect an aggressive, no-nonsense approach here.”
Knots: “Said she’s not here
for fame, but you have to assume she’ll gain some notoriety if she ends the
night with her opponent’s spleen dangling from her hand!”
Wolf walks along the ropes
before taking her place in the corner as her music fades out. “Sharing is
Caring” by the Tinker Toys hits. 🍑 walks out onto the stage,
looking out into the crowd. Behind her is Samuel Davis, a big smile on his face
to go along with his new hair. After a moment, the two begin their way down the
ramp.
Phillips: “And her opponent,
accompanied to the ring by Samuel Davis, from the Red Light
District, The Artist Formerly Known as Clamidiya and
Then As Calliope, she is 🍑!”
Sharper: “And I don’t even
know what to say about this, but…here she comes. The Artist Formerly Known as Clamidiya.”
Knots: “And then as Calliope!”
Lyman: “And now as…well, you
know. Giovanni Aries has rejuvenated her partner’s career. She’ll be looking to
hop on that train along with him, but she’s got a potentially dangerous test
ahead of her right out the gate.”
Samuel turns the corner and
takes his place at ringside as 🍑 slides into the ring. She
pops up and goes into her corner while cautiously staring down Wolf across the
way. Her music fades out as she looks around somewhat nervously. The crowd
roars as the bell sounds. From ringside, Samuel joins along with the cheers. 🍑 looks around in a sort of
confused state of fear as Wolf stares her down from the opposite corner. Wolf
drags herself out of the corner and heads for the middle of the ring. 🍑 reluctantly steps forward
with her arms up in a grappling stance. She lunges at Wolf, but Wolf slips
behind 🍑 and trips her up with a
double-leg takedown. Wolf crawls on top of 🍑 and grabs her arm before
quickly wrenching back into an armbar. 🍑 cries out in pain as Wolf
yanks back.
Sharper: “Wolf with a quick
takedown and an early submission.”
🍑 manages to roll onto her
side, taking the pressure off. 🍑 reaches up with her free arm
and desperately scratches at Wolf’s head.
Sharper: “Wolf getting her
scalp clawed into!”
Knots: “And you’d think that
having a buzz cut would provide an advantage, but what’s worse: getting your
hair yanked or getting your dome scratched?!”
Wolf grits her teeth and
releases the armbar before blasting 🍑 with a vicious forearm. 🍑ʼs grip loosens and Wolf strikes
with another forearm. She hits another one and then another until 🍑 finally lets
go and falls to the mat. Wolf crawls on top of 🍑 and pins her shoulders to the
mat.
1!
🍑 breaks free, rolling onto her
back. Wolf shifts to 🍑ʼs side and drives a knee into her ribs. She goes for
another knee, but 🍑 crawls away, heading towards
the corner. Wolf springs to her feet and follows 🍑 into the corner. Wolf grabs
her by the tights and pulls her up, but 🍑 grabs the ropes. 🍑 holds on for dear life as
Wolf tries to pull her out of the corner. Wolf relents, releasing the tights
and instead driving forward with a shoulder thrust into 🍑ʼs back, driving her into the
corner. 🍑 tightly grips the top rope as
Wolf unleashes a flurry of shoulder thrusts. The referee comes over and tries
to separate the two before counting.

Wolf puts her hands up and
backs away. 🍑 turns in the corner and tries
to catch her breath.
Sharper: “And like you said,
Simon: an aggressive approach.”
Lyman: “We saw the takedown
and submission, but we also saw those ferocious strikes. Wolf’s approaching
this match just like she said she would, and it’s paying off early here.”
Wolf steps towards her and 🍑 suddenly yanks the referee in
front of her. Wolf tries to reach over the referee, who ducks while trying to
escape. 🍑 uses the distraction to reach
out and rake Wolf's eyes! The crowd boos as 🍑 digs in deep. Wolf pulls away
and holds her face.
Sharper: “Oh, but the eye
rake!”
Knots: “Poor girl’s just
trying to survive!”
🍑 shoves the referee away and
runs at Wolf before leaping up and taking her down with a crossbody, falling
right into a pin.
1!
Wolf throws her shoulder up
and rolls over. She quickly gets to her feet, but 🍑 tackles her into the ropes. 🍑 once again digs her nails
into Wolf’s head, getting a decent grip before pushing Wolf forward and
grinding her face against the rope. The referee goes to count, but 🍑 lets go and transitions into
a waistlock before rolling Wolf back into an O’Connor
roll.
1!
🍑 hikes Wolf’s tights.
2!
Wolf violently pushes 🍑 up, who stumbles to her hands
and knees. Wolf gets to her feet and gets behind 🍑, who’s getting to her feet.
Wolf grabs her by the hair and slams her to the mat. The crowd ohs. Wolf drops
to her knees and starts digging her fingers into 🍑’s eyes. 🍑 wildly kicks her feet and
rocks around in an attempt to escape Wolf’s grip, but
Wolf continues to rake. The referee warns Wolf before stepping in to count.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Wolf lets go. The referee
slides down to check on 🍑 while Wolf looks on.
Sharper: “And Wolf showing
that she’ll play dirty right alongside her opponent!”
Lyman: “She’ll do whatever she
can to wreak havoc and pick up the win, including bending the rules.”
Wolf gets back to her feet and
pulls 🍑 up with her, setting her up
straight on her feet. Wolf spins and nails 🍑 with a stiff discus strike.
The crowd ohs at the impact. 🍑 stumbles back and hits the
ropes, the momentum sending her right back to Wolf, who grabs her by the head
and suddenly plants a kiss on 🍑’s lips! The crowd roars as 🍑 resists it.
Knots: “Oh, hello!”
Sharper: “What?! Wolf with a liplock!”
Knots: “Greco-Roman liplock! Classic! Hope Samuel is into the idea of an open
relationship!”
Wolf lets go and pushes 🍑 back into the ropes. 🍑 holds herself up against the
top rope and goes to touch her mouth. We see a black liquid running from 🍑’s mouth. She screams in
horror, only resulting in more of the liquid to come spilling out.
Sharper: “And look! A dark
substance running from the mouth!”
Lyman: “Now look at Wolf!”
We see Wolf with the black
liquid along her lips. She quickly digs two fingers into her mouth before
taking them back out, coating them with the liquid. 🍑 staggers forward in a
terrified daze, only for Wolf to reach out and stick her coated fingers into 🍑’s mouth! The crowd roars as 🍑 struggles to break free, but
Wolf uses her other arm to cradle 🍑’s head.
Sharper: “Wolf shoving her
fingers down the throat! That black hand!”
Knots: “I’m not one to kink
shame, but what the hell are we watching?!”
Wolf sweeps 🍑’s leg, tripping her to the
mat while still maintaining the hold. 🍑 has no choice but to tap out.
“When I Am Queen” plays as Wolf keeps the hold on. 🍑 begins to go limp.
Phillips: “Here is your
winner, via submission, Sarah Wolf!”
Finally, Wolf takes her
fingers out and gets to her feet. 🍑 rolls away while the referee
raises Wolf’s arm in the air, trying not to touch the liquid.
Sharper: “A strange but
dominant debut from Sarah Wolf!”
Lyman: “And you mentioned,
Jon, that she said she’s not here to get famous. Well, like it or not, she’s on
track to make a hell of a name for herself here in SCW!”
Knots: “It was certainly
memorable. I can say that much.”
The referee goes to check on 🍑 as Wolf wipes away some
excess liquid from around her mouth. We see Samuel looking on in horror as 🍑 tries to clean her mouth up,
continually spitting out black liquid.
Sharper: “And it’s back to the
drawing board for The Artist Formerly Known as Clamidiya.”
Knots: “And then as Calliope.”
Lyman: “She was hoping some of
Samuel’s newfound success would rub off on her, but she got more than she
bargained for. Just ran into a buzzsaw tonight!”
🍑 scrapes at her tongue. Samuel
is seen handing her a bottle of water. Wolf smirks before dropping down and
rolling out of the ring, all while Samuel and 🍑 desperately try to clean up.
The
cameras then cut to the ceiling to show the steel cage as spotlights start to
shine on it.
Sharper:
“Folks, as the artist formerly known as Clamidiya
deals with whatever Sarah Wolf did to her, we are about to watch a war.”
Knots:
“Steel cage to keep them in the ring and they got to put weapons inside. All
for the Underground Championship.”
Sharper:
“Kimberly Williams challenges Konrad Raab in our main
event, next!”
The
scene fades to black.

And who are you?
The proud lord said
That I must bow so low?
The camera slowly fades into a shot of a plain wooden
table in a dimly lit room. Upon the table, a simple plate with a chunk of bread
sat upon it and next to it a simple pewter cup. Somewhere off camera, the dying
embers of a fire snap and pop in defiance of their demise.
Only a cat of a different coat
That’s all the truth I know.
Slowly, from the shadows a pair of pail hands reach out
and come to rest upon the table.
“Sacrament…Sacrilege…What’s the difference, in a room
full of gluttons?”
The voice is clearly distorted, only serving to make the
chuckle more ominous as the hands reach and tear the bread in two, exposing the
fluffy bits beneath the harder crust.
“A stale body…in need of new blood…”
The hand plucks the chalice, and slowly begins to pour
what is revealed to be a red wine onto the bread.
Blood being injected into the body.
“So unfortunate for you, that mine is [bleep]ing poisonous.”

The
scene opens at ringside, showing the steel cage now placed around ringside and
we see the various weapons that have been placed inside, strapped to the cage.
Among them, we see a table, a plane of glass, various tube lights, steel
chairs, and even Wasley, Kim’s stuffed penguin.
Sharper:
“There you see the chamber of torture.”
Knots:
“Yeah, after the last two shows, Konrad Raab and
Kimberly Williams have been all over the arena. Not tonight. They enter that
cage and don’t leave until someone is pummeled and the other is Underground
Champion.”
Sharper:
“Both could be pummeled. And bloodied.”
Lyman:
“Same way the Underground Championship returned. Kimberly Williams won there.
Beating Jordan Majors. And just like then, Kim and Konrad both provided items
to be hung up.
Kimberly
Williams vs. Konrad Raab
SCW
Underground Championship
Steel Cage
Match
The opening chords of Paranoid
begin to play. Kimberly Williams steps out onto the stage to a loud, mostly
positive, reaction from the fans. A sinister smirk is on her face as she
ponders what she is about to do tonight.
Phillips: “The following
contest is a steel cage match, scheduled for onefall
and is for the SCW Underground Championship! First, the challenger, from
Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Woman Scorned, Kimberly Williams!”
She winks at the fans before
pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it. She stops at
the cage and leans against it and smiles before spinning around and then
walking over to the entrance. She walks up the steel steps and into the cage.
She looks around before going to the center of the ring and posing. The music
slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.
Sharper:
“Kimberly Williams is thrilled. Konrad will be too. They both wanted this and
finally, Shaun Cruze could not hold off any more.”
Knots:
“Not without firing someone. Think about that.”
Lyman:
“Well the issue then is what stops someone from Kim and Konrad from just
fighting in a parking lot somewhere.”
“Violence Fetish” by Disturbed
plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain, acting
erratic with an angry look on his face, wearing red and black face paint on the
right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he
wears with pieces of ice blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side
of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black
boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands before he crouches down on
the floor, looking at the ring with evil intentions. The SCW Underground
Championship is around his waist.
Phillips: “Her opponent, from Cologne, Germany, he is the SCW Underground
Champion, The Ice Blood, Konrad Raab!”
After the announcement, Konrad slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos before Konrad runs up the steps and enters
the cage. He goes underneath the ropes as the official on the floor closes the
door and locks it. As he's in the ring, Konrad without showing any sign of
acknowledgement from the fans sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd
booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's
already ready to fight, waiting for the match to start as he takes his
hoodie off from his head. The official, Michael Constantine, grabs the SCW
Underground Championship. He steps back and holds the title over his head. As
he brings it down, Kimberly Williams walks over and grabs the title to look at
it. This causes Konrad to pull himself up.
Sharper: “Konrad Raab ready to fight. But Kim wanted to see the title before
Constantine handed it off and that got Raab
incensed.”
Lyman: “It’s his title. Not
Kim’s. Not yet. Kim has to beat him. And here we go!”
Raab runs across the ring and Kim
backs up to the corner. Raab swings as Constantine
moves out of the way. Kim ducks and Raab misses. He
spins around in the corner and Kim nails him with a hard right and then another
and another before Raab swings again. Kim ducks. She
nails him with a hard right. Konrad lunges and misses. Kim ducking and Konrad
stumbles forward. He turns around and Kim runs at him and clotheslines him
down. The crowd roars. Konrad rolls over and Kim dives onto him and nails him
with hard rights and then lefts.
Sharper: “Kim hammering away
on Konrad Raab. Mounting him and hammering away!”
Lyman: “We may not even get to
the weapons!”
Knots: “Yeah. Sorry. I think
we’ll just be seeing them fast. They want to maim each other!”
Konrad covers up as Kim keeps
hammering away. She gets up and looks around. The crowd roars. He then looks
around the cage, admiring all of the weapons that have
been hung up and then turns back around to Konrad who nails her with a European
uppercut. She stumbles back to the ropes. The crowd ohs and boos. Konrad gets
up and walks over and kicks her in the ribs. He then nails her with a right
hook to the stomach. Kim grimaces and Konrad grabs her and headbutts her. She
falls back to the ropes. Konrad then whips her across the ring. Kim bounces off
and Konrad nails her with a dropkick. He then crawls over to her and just
starts to choke her. Kim struggles as Constantine pleads with Konrad to stop.
Sharper: “Konrad now just
choking Kim in the middle of the ring.”
Knots: “Okay, they may not
need weapons if Raab just forces Kim to pass out
here.”
Sharper: “No rope breaks. No
disqualifications obviously. So Kim has to fight out!”
Raab keeps pressing down and Kim
struggles before managing to roll her legs up and under. Raab
lets out a yell as Kim does too and pushes him back with her legs. Raab rolls away as Kim rolls over. She coughs and starts to
try and catch her breath. Raab turns and runs at her
and Kim hits a straight kick to the ribs. Konrad stumbles back. Kim then turns
and grabs a kendo stick from the cage and Konrad runs back in and Kim turns and
nails him in the stomach with it. The crowd ohs as Raab
falls forward to his knees. He gets up, grabbing at the ropes. Kim then looks
at him and shrugs before swinging as hard as he can, nailing Raab right in the lower back. The crowd ohs from the impact
which echoes through the arena. Raab falls to a knee.
Sharper: “Good lord. What a
shot. That kendo stick, the cane, impact.”
Lyman: “We’re watching a
caning here in Los Angeles!”
Kim yells at Raab.
Kim: “Come on. Stand up. I
know you like getting beaten down and shit.”
Konrad is shown smirking and
gritting his teeth as he gets up and Kim swings and nails him again in the
back. Raab crumbles to a knee. He leans on the ropes.
Kim then smirks before looking at the kendo stick. She then places it around Raab’s throat and throws him back with a cane-assisted
Russian leg sweep. Kim then throws the cane away. She looks around before going
over to Wasley. She smiles, hugging him, before then
turning and looking at Raab. Raab
starts to pull himself up as the crowd chants “Wasley!”
over and over. Raab turns and Kim turns and runs at Raab who suddenly steps up and grabs Kim and hits an
overhead belly to belly suplex into some of the light
tubes. They shatter from the impact and the crowd ohs as Kim drops down to the
mat. Raab rolls away. Kim holds her lower back which
can be seen to have some cuts.
Sharper: “And Kim right into
the light tubes.”
Lyman: “Not just the impact of
the cage, but the shattered glass too!”
Knots: “And she’s already
bleeding.”
Raab then walks over and grabs Kim
and sees the blood before hoisting her up and dropping her with a backbreaker
right on the gash. The crowd ohs. Kim winces as Raab
then turns and walks over to the cage. He pulls off his combat gloves before
reaching up and grabbing new ones, these one’s with thumb tacks glued on the
knuckles. The camera gets a good shot of this as Raab
smiles. Kim starts to get up and looks over as Raab
turns and runs over and nails her with a hard right. Kim turns, grimacing,
holding her face as she spins around in pain. She turns and Raab
nails her again with a hard right. Kim stumbles back as we see a cut forming
over her left eye. Raab nails her with a hard right hook and she drops to the mat. Kim rolls over, blood coming
down her face.
Sharper: “Raab
nailing Kim with hard rights. Using his boxing background with those new combat
mitts that have thumb tacks on them.”
Lyman: “Every blow, glancing,
direct, doesn’t matter. Something hits and it’s opening up
Kim Williams!”
Kim starts to get up and Raab grabs her and pushes her down before placing the back
of his fist against Kim’s head and raking it back and forth on the forehead of
Kim. Kim kicks at the mat in pain as the crowd looks on. Kim pushes Raab off and rolls to her stomach and Raab
turns to her lower back and does the same, focusing on the gash from the glass.
Kim manages to fight and crawl away. She grabs at the ropes and grabs at steel
chair, but before she can swing it, Raab walks over
and nails her with a hard right. She drops, pulling the chair down. Raab just laughs as he grabs the chair and then throws it
down. Raab then looks at Kim as she stirs and Raab then takes off his left glove and then starts to shove
it into Kim’s mouth. The crowd ohs.
Knots: “Oh God!”
Sharper: “The glove! The
tacks. My god! In her mouth!”
Raab tries to cover her mouth, but
Kim then nails him in the ribs. Kim spits out the glove and Raab
recovers before grabbing Kim and elbowing her in the back. Raab
then turns and whips her into the ropes. Kim bounces off. Raab
goes for a spinning back fist with his right hand. Kim ducks and jumps up and
grabs the broken light tube that she went through earlier. Raab
turns and Kim kicks him in the ribs before taking the tube and jabbing it in Raab’s forehead. The crowd ohs. Kim then nails him again.
He drops to his knees. Kim then steps over him and starts to grind the broken
end into the forehead. Raab yells in pain as Kim
keeps grinding, the blood coming down the face of Raab.
Sharper: “Oh! Again! Now
grinding it into Raab’s head. Good God!”
Lyman: “Raab
and Williams both a bloody mess and it feels like they’re just starting.”
Knots: “The maiming has just
started!”
Kim keeps grinding for a
moment longer before throwing the broken light tube down. She then turns and
walks over to the table. She pulls it off as the crowd roars. Kim looks around
before moving and placing it in the corner. Kim then looks around before going
over to the side of the cage again and this time pulling off a pair of pliers.
She turns and smiles as Raab starts to get up and he
then turns around before Kim takes the pliers and quickly opens them before
placing them around Raab’s nose. The crowd ohs as Raab yells out as Kim starts to press down. Raab grabs at her arms, trying to get her to release and
Kim kicks him in the ribs before releasing the pliers only to go low and close
them on his crotch.
Sharper: “Oh no! One place you
don’t want a crazy person with pliers!”
Lyman: “Raab’s
not having a good time anymore!”
Raab’s eyes widen as Kim smiles. She
talks to him a bit before then poking him in the eyes with her two fingers. Kim
then grabs him and runs him across, using the pliers and her free arm and hip
throws him through the table in the corner.
Sharper: “Through the table! Raab through it!”
Lyman: “Kim’s going for the
win!”
Kim drags Raab
out and goes for the pin.

Raab gets his shoulder up. Kim
rolls off. She looks around and then turns to the chair she pulled down. She
grabs it and turns and slams it into Raab for good
measure. He rolls over as the crowd roars. Kim then turns and unfolds it,
placing it in the middle of the ring. Kim then looks around before grabbing a
barbed wire wrapped bat. The crowd cheers as Kim takes it and shakes her head. Raab starts to stir and Kim turns
and runs over and jumps up, driving the bat into the forehead of Raab. Raab rolls over, holding
his face in pain. Kim then sits next to him and smiles before looking at the
barbed wire bat. She then turns and walks around to Raab’s
legs. She rolls him over and places the bat between his legs. The crowd roars
as Kim looks around and smiles. She then jumps up and hits a double leg drop
into the bat. Raab rolls over in pain as Kim
grimaces, rolling over and glancing at her legs, one of which is now bleeding.
Sharper: “Again low. The leg drop for the added impact. Hurting herself to hurt Raab.”
Knots: “And she definitely
hurt Raab!”
Raab holding himself before
grimacing and then gritting his teeth. Kim gets up smiling. She then walks over
to him and nails him with a hard right. Raab falls to
the ropes. Kim then nails him again before she turns and runs across the ring.
She bounces off and Kim runs at him and goes for the Shadowblade,
but Raab sidesteps. Kim aborts and stops at the
ropes, but Raab then grabs her in a waistlock and then throws her back with a release German suplex into the opened chair. The crowd ohs as it crumples
underneath Kim as Kim rolls over to her stomach in pain.
Sharper: “Kimberly Williams
has been mangled! German Suplex through the chair!”
Lyman: “The chair just
collapsed under Kim’s weight.”
Sharper: “Tell
me how you’re supposed to learn to land on that! Tell me!”
Kim remains down as Raab slowly gets up. He turns and looks at the crumpled
chair and stomps on it a couple of times. He then grabs it and lifts it up
before turning and slamming it into Kim’s back. Kim grimaces in pain. She drops
back down. Raab then rolls her over and hooks the
leg.

Kim gets her shoulder up. Raab rolls off. He looks around before starting to get up.
He wipes the blood from his face and then grabs Wasley.
He looks at it and then around the arena. The crowd boos before Raab takes Wasley and rips the
back open of him. The boos only get louder. He reaches in and pulls out the
weights. He then shakes his head before ripping Wasley
some more. The boos only get louder.
Sharper: “Destroying that
Penguin.”
Knots: “When Kim realizes,
she’s going to be pissed. Raab
just disemboweled Wasley!”
Raab then turns and returns to the
cage and pulls off the pane of glass. He looks at it and smiles before turning
and moving to Kim and Kim then hits a drop kick to the knees. Raab falls forward, placing the glass down. He then starts
to get up and Kim grabs him and hits a DDT into the mangled chair. The crowd
ohs. Kim rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Raab kicks out. Kim rolls over and
then sees Wasley. Her eyes widen. She crawls over to Wasley and looks at the stuffing pulled out of him and the
destruction of Wasley. Wasley’s
cold dead eyes look up at Kim as Kim looks down at Wasley.
Knots: “She’s noticed!”
Sharper: “Kimberly has
realized Raab has destroyed one of her weapons.”
Kimberly then turns and looks
at Raab as Raab starts to
slowly pull himself up. Both are covered in blood and Kim then turns and waits
as Raab turns around and Kim drills him with
Morrigan’s Wrath. Raab hits the mat. Kim then looks
at him and then Wasley before walking over and
grabbing the pane of glass. The crowd roars as Kim looks at it before placing
it on top of Raab. The crowd erupts as Kim then turns
and climbs over to the corner. She climbs up the turnbuckle as the cheers only
get louder and louder. She then starts to scale the cage.
Sharper: “Where is Kim
going?!”
Lyman: “She’s got some evil
plans.”
Knots: “Konrad’s already down.
And I think she’s got an idea. Glass on top of him.”
Sharper: “Kim Williams at the
top of the cage!”
Kim gets to the top, using one
of the cables to steady herself. She then looks around before glancing back and
diving off with the Chao Theory off the top of the cage and onto Konrad,
causing the glass she placed on top of him to shatter. The crowd ohs as Kim
falls back, holding her chest as we see shards of glass on Konrad, on the mat,
and some having cut both competitors. A “Holy Sh*t!”
chant follows.
Sharper: “Chaos Theory from
the top of the cage through glass and onto Konrad Raab!”
Lyman: “Jesus Christ!”
Sharper: “They’re both
ruined!”
Knots: “Broken glass
everywhere!”
Kim grabs her arm, a notable
gash on it, but crawls over and onto Konrad Raab.
Constantine counts.

The crowd erupts in cheers as
Kim falls back, holding her arm and smiling.
Phillips: “Here is your
winner, and NEW SCW Underground Champion, Kimberly Williams!”
Kim then falls back as
Constantine walks over and the door opens. He’s handed the Underground
Championship and turns back, handing the title to Kim. Kim takes it and
clutches it. She just smiles, laughing as she hugs the title. Konrad Raab remains down as Constantine motions for help.
Sharper: “Kimberly Williams
putting it all on the line for the title she holds dear. In the same match she
won the title, she wins it here.”
Knots: “And she may have
shortened her career but she doesn’t care. She’s
euphoric!”
Sharper: “What a brutal
encounter between these two and Kimberly Williams is the new Underground
Champion here in Los Angeles. She has the title she wants.”
Kim continues to laugh,
clutching the Underground Championship as the scene fades to black…
