Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie
Can't stop this screamin' voice
Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing Rated X posing as SCW World Tag Team Champions. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see Cassie Wolfe hitting a dive off the top rope and Adam Brock standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chance Owens, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo

This is the face

Out of this cage
He breaks to take the life from me
Tell me, tell me, tell me
I'm not crazy

The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head

Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery
Insane

Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor lariat on an opponent is next, before we see Cassie Wolfe hitting a Shooting Star Press off the stage onto Lues. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Alexis Quinne hitting a standing shooting star press. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Kandis, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We come to you from Japan for Breakdown!”

The cameras circle around the ring for a bit longer before cutting to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots here to call the action from the Land of the Rising Sun and tonight, big matches await this Japanese crowd.”

Knots: “You want to see the World Champion in action…she’ll be in action and in the main event. Selena Frost faces Polly Pingotti! And Xander Valentine, her opponent at Taking Hold of the Flame, he’ll be in action too, facing Man Mountain!”

Sharper: “The Adrenaline Championship on the line too. About to come up here to start off the wrestling action but…”

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain, accompanied by Ravyn Taylor with Lexy Chapel behind them. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering, as Lexy looks on. Ravyn says something to Syren.

Sinfully Seductive

Captivatingly Corrupt

DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who remains much more silent than usual. Ravyn Taylor enters the ring and walks across to get a microphone.

Sharper: “Syren to join us to start. Ravyn Taylor and Lexy Chapel with her.”

Knots: “Oh God, they killed Autumn.”

Sharper: “I doubt that. But we did see last week that Ravyn Taylor and Lexy Chapel made a new agreement while Syren was recovering. We expect her in action next week when Breakdown comes to you from Australia.”

Syren walks around the ring as Ravyn is handed a microphone. She turns and walks over to the middle of the ring before talking to Syren a bit. Ravyn turns to the crowd as she turns to Lexy too and Lexy sighs before motioning for her to go ahead.

Ravyn: “Thank you Japan for that wonderful applause for a true legend in Syren.”

Ravyn looks at Syren as Syren looks at the crowd, applauding back.

Ravyn: “It has been a challenging year in many ways. Several attempts to get you back to World Title contention have fallen short. We no longer are Tag Team Champions. And now…an injury.”

Lexy Chapel then yells out.

Chapel: “Damn Russians!”

Ravyn looks at Chapel and glares.

Chapel: “What? We’re closer to them…”

Ravyn: “Nonetheless, you are someone with heart and who would never back down from a challenge. And I…I don’t either.”

Ravyn looks around.

Ravyn: “Dark Fantasy has a history and a legacy in this business. And you, Syren, you are a key piece wide. You’ve held the SCW World Championship more than any other. We set records when we hold titles. That is what we do. That is our purpose, our goal, and what keeps us going. And Syren…we are going to keep adding to that legacy.”

Ravyn looks at Syren as Syren nods.

Ravyn: “Because while I know you were proud to be the Adrenaline Champion last year and it was a thrill, and I also know you would challenge Xander and fight anyone who stepped in your way or hurt your friends…”

Ravyn glances at Lexy.

Ravyn: “Sometimes the guesswork needs to be removed. I know that from being at your side for a decade and a half.”

Syren can be seen saying “okay.”

Ravyn: “And so that’s why, next week, we’re going to do what we do best. Team and win. Dark Fantasy will be in action next week when Breakdown emanates from Sydney, Australia.”

The crowd applauds a bit.

Ravyn: “But you also will be busy at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Syren stops Ravyn, starting to clarify things.”

Ravyn: “Please…you have a spot. And yes, some may remind all of us of the contract you signed with Xander Valentine. That if he won, you needed to win ten matches in a row to return to World Championship contention.”

Ravyn smiles. Syren nods.

Chapel: “Yeah! Stupid idea!”

Ravyn: “Do you trust me, Zoe?”

Syren nods.

Chapel: “No!”

Ravyn turns to Lexy and walks over to her.

Ravyn: “We agreed that we have her best interests at heart, correct?”

Chapel pouts.

Ravyn: “Then trust me here.”

Ravyn turns back to Syren.

Ravyn: “Then tell the world, Zoe, what you are going to do at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Ravyn extends the microphone to Syren. Syren looks at the microphone and then turns to Ravyn. She looks confused. Ravyn assures her. Syren turns to the crowd.

Syren: “Well…if I’m in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal…”

Ravyn tells her to be more confident.

Syren: “Looks like I’m going to win and go to Rise to Greatness to challenge for the World Championship!”

Syren turns to Ravyn as the crowd cheers a bit. Ravyn takes a microphone from her.

Ravyn: “And when you win…that’s exactly what’s going to happen! Quoth the Ravyn, nevermore!”

“Bad Girl” plays throughout the arena as Syren looks at Ravyn as Lexy Chapel comes over. Ravyn smirks. They start to immediate question her.

Sharper: “This…this is a turn of events.”

Knots: “Is she going for some semantic thing. She’s not back in contention. She’s just there if she wins. Or some contractual finagling. One cancels out the other.”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but Ravyn has some plan and that’s bad for everyone.”

Knots: “Even Syren and Chapel aren’t clear on it!”

Sharper: “Nonetheless, she still needs to win the battle royal, and that’s a tall order to say the very least.”

Ravyn motions for them to leave the ring as Syren and Chapel then follow the Bad, Bad Girl.

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as “Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays. A still for Cassie Wolfe vs. Bree Lancaster for the SCW Adrenaline Championship follows.

Sharper: “Well we open up the in-ring action with the SCW Adrenaline Championship on the line.”

Knots: “Selena main events. Bree opens. No coincidence there after Taking the Leap!”

Sharper: “We’ll still see an amazing context. Wolfe challenges Lancaster, next!”

The scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see a still of Adam Brock being helped to the back by Deanna Frost and Chance Owens from last week’s Breakdown.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Before we go to the ring, we have some unfortunate news to pass about Adam Brock. Last week, Brock and Frost were in the midst of their US Championship match and Brock was knocked off the top rope, caught on the top rope and his leg was bent in a bad way.”

Knots: “Yeah and from what we’re hearing, he may be out for a bit.”

Sharper: “The latest news is that it is a torn ACL. While it is possible to brace it, we’re hearing that doctors are recommending surgery which means that Brock may be out for some time. We wish him the best in his recovery.”

The still remains on the screen for a few moments before we cut back to the ring.

Cassie Wolfe vs. Bree Lancaster

SCW Adrenaline Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the SCW Adrenaline Championship! Introducing first, the challenger….”

The opening riff of “Wolf Within” hits the speakers and once the lyrics kick in Cassie Wolfe emerges from the back excited to start the match, with her hands on her leather jacket’s sides the rookie wrestler turns her back to the crowd.

Phillips: “From Greenock, South Australia and now residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, “The Rebel Princess” Cassie Wolfe!”

When her name is announced Cassie spins around flashing the metal horns sign with her left hand and clapping fans hands with the other, when she reaches the ring Cassie jumps onto the apron before giving her hair a full flip and removing her jacket to give to a stagehand, she then jumps over the top rope and into the ring, rolling to her knees and basking in the moment.

Sharper: “This looks to be a good fast-paced match between the young Cassie Wolfe and the champion Bree Lancaster. Bree offering the opportunity to Cassie as a show of respect and gratitude for her help.”

Knots: “That’s a very Bree Lancaster thing to do, but if she’s not on point this gesture could bite her in the ass.”

The lights dim, only a few small ones on the stage as the voice of Bree Lancaster whispers:

“I am the light of the truth
The one who sees right through”

A guitar riff plays as the small lights dance around the stage, then suddenly stop, as one large beam shines down onto the figure of Bree herself.

“Spotlight”

The smaller lights begin again swirling as the music of “Spotlight” by Fozzy kicks in and Bree makes her way down the ramp, the title belt fastened around her waist.

Phillips: “And her opponent… from New Orleans, Louisiana, she is the current SCW Adrenaline Champion…. Bree Lancaster!”

[I am the light of the truth, The one who sees right through
I know your every move, I got my eye on you
Go on and bury it down, I follow you 'til it's out
I got my eye on you, I got my eye on you]

Bree smiles at the front row fans as she gets to the ring and goes up the steps, stepping through the ropes. She goes to a corner and gets on the second turnbuckle, posing with one hand up overhead. The crowd cheers.

[You're the wicked, I'm a sharp knife
Shining on you like a spotlight
I'm a witness, I'm a dark night]

The lights go down, and one beam shines on Bree in the corner.

[You're a sickness, I'm your spotlight]

The lights come up and Bree hops down as the music fades out. Bree gets to her corner and hands the title belt to the official.

Sharper: “She looks focused and ready to me, Jon, despite dealing with some personal issues recently. Not to mention everything that Simon Lyman threw at her.”

Knots: “Let’s not pretend that wasn’t personal, too.”

Sharper: “Fair point there.”

The bell rings and the two women step out of their corners, meeting in the center. Bree offers her hand to Cassie, who immediately takes it. The crowd applauds as the women shake and give each other a nod. Stepping back now, the circle a bit before stepping back up into a lock up. Bree quickly spins Cassie around, keeping a grip on her arm, and sends her into the ropes. Cassie rebounds, ducking under Bree’s attempt to grab her. Bree turns as Cassie bounces off the other side. Bree lifts Cassie up for a back body drop but Cassie floats over and lands on her feet. Bree turns and Cassie nails her with a dropkick. Bree lands on her back but rolls through and gets right back up. Cassie runs the ropes and as Bree gets to her feet Cassie goes for a Hurricanrana. Bree though grabs her legs and stops her momentum, before slamming her down on her back. The crowd oohs. Bree steps back as Cassie starts to get up.

Sharper: “Quick stop there to a fast paced start, Bree with a great counter.”

Knots: “And showing off how she’s improved her strength, catching Cassie in the air like that.”

Cassie gets to her feet, and Bree immediately grabs her and puts her right back down with an arm drag. She keeps hold of Cassie’s arm, pulling back. Cassie winces in pain, trying to get out of the hold. Bree pulls back more, but Cassie gets her feet under her and uses her leverage to pull Bree down and flip her over to the mat. Cassie gets to her feet now and quickly jumps and lands a standing moonsault. She makes a cover.

1!

Bree kicks out. She scrambles to her feet as Cassie gets up. Cassie turns to face Bree, and Bree greets her with a BOGO. Cassie steps back a few steps, towards a corner. Bree grabs an arm and spins Cassie all the way around before sending her into the turnbuckles. Cassie hits hard, but grabs the ropes to keep from falling or bouncing out. Bree runs in looking for a shoulder tackle, but Cassie slides out of the way at the last second. Bree just barely stops herself from eating turnbuckle.

Knots: “Cassie Wolfe showing some awareness there, avoiding the tackle.”

Sharper: “And Bree is as impressed as she’s annoyed.”

Bree turns to Cassie, who is still holding the ropes. They exchange a smirk, then Bree suddenly fires off a spinning heel kick! The force sends Cassie over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd oohs and cheers. Bree drops down as Cassie starts to get to her feet. Bree pulls Cassie up and swings her around into the ring apron, hitting Cassie’s back into it. Cassie slides down, holding her back. Bree grabs her and pulls her up again. Before she can do anything, Cassie reverses the grip and swings Bree around instead, hitting Bree’s shoulder into the ring post. The crowd oohs as she spins off, grabbing her shoulder. Cassie takes a few moments to collect herself, still grabbing at her back.

Sharper: “Both women taking hard hits on the outside, and as they catch their breath let me remind you at home that Adrenaline division matches do not have count outs.”

Knots: “They’ve got to get back into the ring to end the match though.”

Bree shakes her shoulder out and looks around to see where Cassie is. Cassie, leaning against the ring, looks up and sees Bree coming towards her. Rather than wait to see what Bree has in mind, she takes a step back for a little distance then slides back into the ring. Bree grins with a little shrug and slides in behind her. Cassie is on her feet first, and as Bree starts to get up, Cassie steps back before connecting with the Greenest Wizard! The crowd oohs as Bree goes down. Cassie starts to cover, but then looks up and sees they are too close to the ropes. She grabs Bree’s arm and drags her more towards the center before covering, hooking the leg this time.

1!

2!

Bree kicks out! The crowd applauds. Cassie sits back on her heels looking up, frustrated.

Sharper: “Better cover than the first attempt, but Cassie needing to get away from the ropes there could have cost her.”

Knots: “It was either that or a rope break, Bree wasn’t going to stay down for three either way.”

Bree is up first and as Cassie gets up, Bree grabs her and sends her into the ropes. Cassie bounces off and Bree grabs her and plants her with a t-bone suplex. She then drops a knee into Cassie’s chest for good measure before making a cover.

1!

2!

Cassie gets her shoulder up. The crowd applauds, with some ‘oohs’ as Bree gets up right away. Cassie starts to get up. Bree waits until she’s almost vertical, still turned away, then fires off a Priceless kick! Cassie stumbles forward and loses her footing, going down to her hands and knees. Bree slides down and grabs Cassie’s arm, pulling her to her back and applying the Tangled Web! The crowd cheers. Cassie struggles, trying prevent Bree from locking it in all the way by clutching her hands together. But Bree kicks at her arm, breaking Cassie’s grip. Bree is then able to pull back and get the full arm extension.

Sharper: “Bree with the Tangled Web, that armbreaker! She defeated Autumn Valentine with that hold and Cassie Wolfe is in trouble.”

Knots: “She can see the ropes, but she catch stretch her foot far enough. She’s trying!”

Cassie strains the near leg, but the camera shows the toe of her boot about six inches away. Bree sees this herself, and pulls on Cassie’s arm harder, causing them both to slightly roll away from the ropes, making a little more distance. Cassie yells and kicks her feet, trying to gain any leverage to escape.

Sharper: “Cassie’s gonna have no choice here in a few seconds or she’ll have a dislocated elbow!”

Knots: “Wait! Here comes her choice!”

The crowd roars then boos heavily. We cut to the barricade as Simon Lyman comes in through the crowd and over the barricade. Bree looks around at the noise but before she sees him, Simon slides in from behind her, and puts a boot directly into her shoulder! Bree’s grip breaks and Cassie rolls away as the crowd boos even heavier. The official calls for the bell.

Phillips: “Due to outside interference, Cassie Wolfe has been disqualified! As a result, your winner and still SCW Adrenaline Champion.... Bree Lancaster!”

Simon takes one more kick at Bree before turning to Cassie. Cassie, still on the mat holding her arm, never sees the assault coming. Simon starts laying boots to her, over and over. The bell rings repeatedly as the crowd boos and yells and an empty cup even flies through the air in Simon’s general direction. Bree scrambles to her feet and runs up behind Simon, grabbing his arm and pulling him away. Cassie rolls away as Simon faces Bree, and takes a swing. Bree though blocks it then grabs his arm and sends him into the ropes. Simon grabs the top rope to steady himself. Bree hits a dropkick and sends Simon through the ropes and to the floor! The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman drawing the DQ! Went after Cassie and Bree wasn’t having it!”

Knots: “We know she didn’t want to retain like this.”

Bree slides out and Simon looks like he might want to fight more, but another cheer goes through the crowd and we see Jaina Lancaster sprinting down the ramp. She stops at Bree’s side, and Simon backs down. He puts his hands up, backing away. He backs towards the ramp, Bree and Jaina moving along so they stay blocking his path to the ring, if he so chose to try. Simon though just smirks and dusts his hands off as he continues walking backwards up the ramp.

Sharper: “And Simon Lyman retreating. It seems he accomplished what he wanted. Cost Cassie Wolfe the Adrenaline Championship, the title he failed to take from Bree himself, twice, and getting shots in on Bree at the same time. Look at him smiling like the cat that ate the canary!”

Knots: “This is what Cassie gets for coming to Bree’s defense against him, and for standing by Amy Chastaine.”

Sharper: “Jaina out here too, at her aunt’s side once more. Amy as we know still not cleared to wrestle, or to travel here to Japan. If she’s watching, what must she be thinking right now?”

Simon continues up the ramp, as Bree and Jaina watch, glaring daggers. Behind them in the ring the official can be seen talking to Cassie Wolfe, who sits up as we cut away.

COMMERCIALS

We see a shot of a blinding light before a man walks in front of it, making a silhouette.

“They say he’s the All-Star…”

We then see the silhouette posing, arms out to his side, sliding his jersey down a bit.

“They say he’s the Franchise Player…”

We see close up shots of individuals like Chris Lawler, Kandis, Xander Valentine, and Polly Pignotti getting hit with a lariat.

“His Lariat is feared by the world, yet loved by millions!”

We see shots of the man flexing in the silhouette.

“He’s the Obscenely Naturally Talented, The History-Maker, the MVP of Life…”

We then see a shot of the man no longer present before we cut to an overhead shot of Gavin Taylor posing on a star by lying down on it.

“He may have lost his way…

“He may be not living up to his potential…”

Taylor now starts to hear this, looking around.

Gavin: “Hey!”

“He may have lost a step…”

Gavin: “I have not!”

“But all will turn around…”

Gavin looks around and slowly stands up, more confused.

“As Australia’s favourite son…returns….to his third home!”

Gavin’s confidence returns as he then poses.

Gavin: “Gavin Down Under….Coming at you!”

Gavin points at the camera as the scene fades out.

Breakdown returns backstage as we see Cassie Wolfe being checked on the trainer and Jaina Lancaster. Bree Lancaster, holding the SCW Adrenaline Championship, stands in front of them, clearly annoyed. She glances back at Cassie and Jaina before turning to the camera.

Bree: “Simon! I’m done with this. There is not going to be a third match. So you can get out of my business. Shoving me down. Attacking Cassie, for what? Because you’re jealous. You’re jealous that your mid-life crisis isn’t working out for you. Unlike you, I have some much needed stability. I don’t need to fake a religious kick to get ahead. I don’t need to be a wild asshole thinking they are deserving of everything. I don’t need to be anything but you, but to prove myself in that ring, time and time again. And I’ve done it against you, TWICE. Cassie Wolfe proved herself in more meaning than you did!”

Bree glances back.

Bree: “And you took her dream from her just because you’re a miserable bastard. Well, Simon…you better stay the hell away from me, from Cassie, from Jaina. From all of us, Lancaster, Chastaine, adjacent. You were the cancer in our lives. YOU are the failure in this all Simon!”

Bree glances back again and then turns back.

Bree: “And I’m going to focus on being a damn good Adrenaline Champion, while you, gradually fade away. And instead of being seen as the man who fought back, had a storybook career cut short, before then coming back,…you’re proving that you’re just a piece of crap…So keep your name OUT of my mouth!”

Bree turns back and heads over to join Jaina, Cassie and the trainer.

Leroy Adams vs. Religious Wright

“Son Of The Dirty South’” by Brantley Gilbert ft Jelly Roll rings out over the arena as LeRoy Adams walks out behind the curtain as he stops on the stage. He bobs his head to the music a minute before bobbing his whole body as he really gets into the music before focusing on the ring. He marches his way the ring slapping hands with fans, taking a swig of a fans beer. He makes it the ring and rolls in. He staggers up to his feet and walks over to the corner, takes off his wife beater and climb up the turnbuckle. He throws his hands up before jumping down and getting ready for the match.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Pascagoula, Mississippi…he is LEROY! ADAMS!”

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, from The Sword of Joshua Full Gospel Pentecostal Temple of Joy Holiness by way of Mt. Judea, Arknasas, he is RELIGIOUS WRIGHT!

“I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe begins to play. Religious Wright steps out onto the stage wearing a black robe and carrying his Holy Book in his right hand. Along the way down the aisle he stops by some fans. He presses his hand to the foreheads of some fans and shouts “BE HEALED IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!” Still other fans he throws Holy Water at them and shouts “BE GONE FOUL DEMON FROM THIS SERVANT IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!” Religious Wright then ascends the steel steps and enters the ring. He steps to the center of the ring and holds up his Holy Book and shouts “CAN I GET AN AMEN MY BROTHAS AND SISTAS OF THE LAWD?!”

Wright turns around and the ref calls for the bell. Leroy charges out of his corner, taking Wright down with a running clothesline. Wright flips around mid-air before hitting the mat.

Crowd: “OOOHHH!!!”

Sharper: “The newly signed Leroy Adams showing off his power at the opening bell.”

Leroy goes to grab Wright, but Wright manages to kick him in the face. Leroy staggers back a bit as Wright gets to his feet. Wright runs over and hits a few punches, before managing to connect with a step-up enziguri.

Leroy hits the ropes, only to come back with another running clothesline. Leroy grabs Wright, but Wright connects with a European uppercut, followed by a second.

Knots: “Wright must’ve prayed hard to Selena Frost tonight. Maybe all week.”

Wright backs Leroy into the ropes and goes to whip him across the ring, but Leroy reverses, pulling Wright into a sidewalk slam. Leroy goes for the cover.

Wright kicks out.

Sharper: “The rookie getting a quick two-count.”

Leroy pulls Wright up, but Wright hits another European uppercut. He steps back before hitting a quick spinning wheel kick, taking Leroy off his feet. Wright runs into, and leaps off of the second rope, connecting with a moonsault. He goes for a cover of his own.

Leroy kicks out.

Leroy begins to get to his feet while Wright runs into the ropes. He bounces off the ropes and goes for a flying forearm, but Leroy catches him and plants Wright with a spinebuster. Leroy gets to his feet and goes over to the corner. He looks back at Wright before shrugging. He climbs to the middle rope and jumps off.

Sharper: “Leroy going off the turnbuckle. He seemed a little hesitant.”

Wright manages to roll out of the way as Leroy crashes into the mat. Wright rolls Leroy up.

1!

2!

Leroy manages to kick out.

Sharper: “Wright almost stole one there.”

Knots: “Seemed a little reckless for a guy of Leroy’s stature.”

Wright pulls Leroy to his feet. He hits a knife edge chop before he goes to whip Leroy across the ring. Leroy reverses, sending Wright into the ropes. Leroy follows up with a clothesline, going over the top rope with Wright.

Sharper: “Both men now on the outside.”

Wright is shown using the apron to get to his feet, while Leroy is already standing. He grabs Wright and whips him in, and over, the steel steps.

Crowd: “OOOHHH!!!”

Leroy smirks as the crowd cheers a bit. Leroy charges over and jumps onto the steps, pushing off one foot, taking Wright down with another clothesline.

Sharper: “Leroy turning up the aggression. Taking to the air once again and connecting.”

Leroy pulls Wright up and whips him into the apron. Leroy hits a few punches before rolling Wright into the ring. Leroy leans into the ropes while Wright is shown slowly climbing to his feet. Wright turns around and Leroy charges over, hitting a clothesline at full speed.

Knots: “Leroy hitting what he calls the ‘Natty Light Lariat.”

Sharper: “And he got all of that one.”

Leroy picks Wright up. He hooks Wright before lifting him up in the air. Leroy pauses for a moment before driving Wright down to the mat.

Crowd: “OOOHHH!!!”

Leroy hooks the leg.

1!

Sharper: “And he calls that devastating move the Garnishing of Wages! What power!”

2!

3!

“Son Of The Dirty South’” hits as the ref calls for the bell. Leroy gets to his feet and glares down at Wright, who isn’t moving.

Sharper: “Hell of a debut for that man right there! Leroy Adams, ladies and gentlemen.”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, by result of a pin-fall…LEROY! ADAMS!”

The crowd cheers while Leroy looks out at them, now standing on the top rope, celebrating a bit. Wright is shown, slowly stirring before we get another shot of Leroy celebrating as we cut away.

Sharper: “Let’s now go backstage where Jessica Winters is standing by with the SCW Television Champion, Marie Jones.”

Backstage, Jessica Winters stands with Marie Jones in the SCW interview area. Marie proudly holds the SCW Television Championship over her shoulder as Angelica Jones stands with her.

Winters: “Thank you Adam and Marie…”

Winters pauses for a moment. She then continues. Marie and Angelica both notice.

Winters: “…Marie, yes…last week, you retained the Television Championship. Tonight, you will face The Enigma. And The Enigma making his presence felt last week.”

Marie: “You can say that again. After that…I don’t know. Maybe he just wanted to get a head start. Maybe he knew this was happening, but while my sister may be insane and will do terrible things to her body, you still had to take her out. And if this is some way to get in my head, it’s not going to work.”

Winters just glares at Marie while she continues. Angelica happens to notice this.

Marie: “While he can get in the heads of many, he won’t with me. All he’s going to get is a wrestling lesson. While I am on my fight for redemption, I’m not going to let him attack my sister and get away with it. I’m not going to let him intimidate and attack-“

Angelica: “Jessica!”

Winters stops and looks at Marie, almost snapping out of a trance.

Winters: “Yes…Oh, Marie. Good you’re here-“

Angelica: “Jessica, we need to talk.”

Angelica wraps her arm around Jessica Winters and move her off camera, carefully taking the microphone and giving it to Marie. Marie looks a bit concerned before Angelica nods at her. Marie resets.

Marie: “Enigma…you’ve been a menace for you own time. You just made a big mistake last week. You went after the Jones family. And we’re not going to tolerate it!”

Winters: “Get off me!”

The camera turns as Angelica pulls away from Jessica Winters who now is tensed up and leaning back. She looks at Angelica.

Winters: “What…what were doing?”

Angelica: “Jessica, are you okay?”

Winters looks at Angelica as Marie heads over and the scene cuts away.

Breakdown returns as we see CHBK talking to Jessica Winters as we see SCW agents Hiro Tanaka also present. Angelica Jones is talking to Dillusion.

CHBK: “Jessica…”

Winters: “I’m fine. I don’t know what to say. Just…maybe it’s Jet Lag. I don’t know. I spaced out and then had Angelica next to me and it just caught me off.”

CHBK: “And the situation with Marie?”

Winters: “What do you mean?”

CHBK: “You were just looking at her.”

Winters: “I guess I’m just tired and-“

Deanna Frost then comes onto the scene.

Deanna: “Jessica!”

Hiro Tanaka goes to stop Deanna as Deanna heads over to Jessica. The two hug.

Deanna: “Are you okay?”

Winters: “I…I don’t know. I’m just tired. Haven’t slept the best the last week.”

Deanna: “Okay, we can fix that. Selena’s bus has to be here.”

Winters: “I have other assignments-“

CHBK: “Not tonight. Take the night off.”

Winters: “But-“

CHBK: “I’d rather not take a chance. Get some sleep. We’re in this time zone for a bit. Australia next week.”

Deanna: “Come on.”

Deanna ushers Jessica away.

CHBK: “Hiro…go with them. Just to make sure she’s okay. Grab some water too.”

Hiro nods as Deanna waits a moment as Hiro jogs after to join them.

Light in the Darkness vs. European Fiery Nation

Phillips: “The following non-title tag team match is scheduled for one fall!”

“Off To War” by Behemoth plays over the sound system with the lights being dark as ever as Ludvig and Dakon storm out onto the stage, looking at the crowd and receiving heavy boos. There is no Ginny with them tonight, nor is there any of their usual fanfare, just two very angry men who look ready to tear somebody apart.

Phillips: “Introducing first, coming from Sweden and Norway, they are Ludvig Eriksson and Dakon Theron… the European Fiery Nation!”

Ludvig and Dakon begin marching down to the ring, ignoring the boos of the fans or even the flickering lights that are part of their normal entrance routine. As they reach ringside, both men slide into the ring as the lights return to normal, pacing around like caged lions ready to pounce.

Knots: “These are some very angry men tonight, and it’s hard to blame them.”

Sharper: “Last week on Breakdown, The Enigma attacked both David Striker and Kim Williams, showing no regard for their injuries from Taking the Leap. Konrad Raab tried to corner him because of their unresolved issues from that same show, and ultimately Ginny was also attacked before The Enigma escaped. As a result, she was advised not to make the trip here to Saitama with us tonight, hence Dakon and Ludvig being out here by themselves.”

Knots: “Dakon seemed to take what happened personally. Hard to say if he and Ludvig are going to be distracted because of what happened, or more dangerous than ever.”

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. “In the Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan Kicks begins to play, the LED screens flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front of a starry night sky with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re slowly shifting and dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully glide through the sky. One spotlight comes to life on the left side of the stage from the camera’s perspective, revealing Amelia Blythe standing underneath it, eyes focused on the ring and a small smile on her lips as her hands are folded in front of her, giving her the look of a proper young lady. A second spotlight comes to life on the right side of the stage, revealing La Pequeña Luz standing underneath it with the kind of grin that could light up a room all on its own as she motions with her hands for the fans to get pumped up, which they immediately proceed to do. The SCW World Tag Team Championships can be seen around their waists, and notably, they’ve also traded the robes they usually wear during their entrance for kimonos tonight. The two slowly turn their attention to one another and begin closing the distance, their spotlights following them as they stop within arm’s reach of one another, where Amelia extends her hand and Luz takes it before they pull their bodies close, the center plates of the title belts meeting and the spotlights merging into one piercing through the darkness. When the song goes into the chorus, the two ladies begin to literally waltz their way down to the ring, fast and fluid to keep pace with the song as the spotlight follows their every move, leaving fans mesmerized by their synergy.

Phillips: “And their opponents, they are the SCW World Tag Team Champions; Amelia Blythe and La Pequeña Luz… The Light In The Darkness!”

As the chorus reaches its end and the two find themselves at the bottom of the ramp, they push away from one another as far as their arms will allow without letting go before quickly pointing to the LED screens with their free hands, where the night scene is immediately engulfed in white before transitioning to a video package of the two ladies in action, both together and individually. Slowly, the two release one another, the single spotlight splitting in two again as Amelia makes her way up the steps to walk across the apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz, meanwhile, hops up onto the apron right in front of her and grabs the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees, cupping her hands together in front of her while Amelia stands right behind her, hands folded before her once again.

Sharper: “The Light In The Darkness, meanwhile, may have distractions of their own to worry about. We know they’re on another collision course with Twisted & Sadistic over the World Tag Team Titles… the problem is that the rest of the tag team division hasn’t forgotten nor forgiven Glory and Brittany for their actions, and Luz and Amelia have had a hell of a time as champions in trying to maintain order.”

Knots: “We get it, they’re all about being honorable and just trying to prove themselves in the ring week after week.”

While Sharper and Knots are in the middle of this commentary, Luz lifts her cupped hands upward, the arena lights slowly beginning to come back on as Amelia takes her hands and pulls her to her feet, spinning her around one final time into a tight embrace and a soft kiss before the two move to their corner to prepare for battle, with both girls shedding their kimonos and Amelia also removing her mask. As soon as they’re out of their entrance gear, Dakon and Ludvig jump them! The cheers of the fans for the World Tag Team Champions immediately give way to boos as the European Fiery Nation hammer away on The Light In The Darkness in the corner. Referee Steve Hollinsworth tries to separate them, but Dakon shoves him away and demands that he just ring the bell.

Sharper: “The European Fiery Nation not even waiting for the bell, jumping the champions and assaulting them before they were ready!”

Knots: “Like I was about to say before this happened, Luz and Amelia are better off not trying to emulate Selena Frost. She can sterilize the World Title picture, the tag team scene is more fun when it’s steeped in chaos!”

Seeing that Hollinsworth refuses to officially start this match, Dakon says something to Ludvig before they throw Luz and Amelia to the mat towards the center of the ring. They then grab the World Tag Team Championship belts and motion for their current owners to get back to their feet, ignoring the referee’s pleas to stop. Luz and Amelia slowly get back to their feet, and as they turn they manage to duck underneath and avoid being drilled by their own title belts! The European Fiery Nation both turn around and eat stereo dropkicks from The Light In The Darkness! They hit the mat, dropping the belts in the process, and Luz runs and catches Ludvig with a baseball slide to force him out of the ring. He pulls himself up with help from the apron, but Luz slingshots herself over the top rope and onto him with a crossbody! Amelia, meanwhile, gives Dakon space so that he can get back to his feet enough for Hollinsworth to finally signal for the bell to actually start this match proper after he’s handed off the title belts to the timekeeper. Once the bell has rung, Dakon tries to kick Amelia in the gut as she approaches, but she catches his foot and takes him over with a dragon screw before floating into an armbar! Hollinsworth checks in, but Dakon merely cusses both him and Amelia out.

Sharper: “This match now officially underway. The Light In The Darkness weathering the early cheap shots and have managed to restore some sense of order here.”

Knots: “Just think: this was just a small taste of the chaos they’re trying to get control over as champions, and Dakon and Ludvig probably weren’t even seeing them with that beatdown! They were probably picturing a pair of Enigmas being pounded into paste!”

Dakon starts to work his way back to his feet and swings wildly to try and force Amelia to release his arm, but Amelia ducks it and twists into a hammerlock reverse STO! We see Luz hop up onto the apron in her team’s corner at this point, and Amelia doesn’t hesitate to tag her in. The two of them get into position as Dakon starts to sit up, and they smash him with the Frozen Gauntlet! Amelia steps out onto the apron as Luz runs into a springboard off the second rope into an imploding senton bomb! She shifts into a cover and hooks the leg.

Dakon kicks out! Luz is undeterred, however, as she grabs Dakon by the wrist and pulls him back to his feet before stunning him with an overhead chop across the chest. She runs towards the corner and springboards off the second rope, but instead of doing the second springboard that normally leads into an arm drag, Luz actually stops herself while balancing on the top rope and yells out to Amelia, who looks confused until we see her just manage to jump over an attempted kendo stick swing from Ludvig! The kendo stick connects with the turnbuckle post and breaks in half, and Amelia stomps on one of Ludvig’s hands in response! This, however, was enough of a distraction for Dakon to jerk Luz off the top rope and into a nasty powerbomb! Amelia turns back to the action in horror, and Ludvig grabs her ankle and pulls her off the apron as she hits it facefirst before he throws her into the steel steps!

Sharper: “Even when facing the World Tag Team Champions, the European Fiery Nation refuse to actually play by the rules, even when a fair win tonight could set them up for a future title opportunity!”

Knots: “Well, that’s what happens when Ginny isn’t here to try and remind them of that!”

Dakon stomps away at the downed Luz as Ludvig makes his way around the ring and back up to his team’s corner, which is where Dakon tags him in. The two of them haul Luz up to her feet before planting her with a double DDT! Ludvig floats into a cover.

Luz kicks out! Dakon exits the ring, but instead of returning to his team’s corner, he drops out to the floor and lifts the ring skirt, searching under the ring. Ludvig, meanwhile, pulls Luz back to her feet and throws her into the nearest corner before clobbering her with a few european uppercuts. He looks out at Dakon to see him still looking under the ring before yelling to him, which seems to snap him back to attention. Dakon finally pulls out a steel chair as Ludvig drops Luz with one more european uppercut. Dakon slides the chair into the ring and Ludvig rolls Luz on top of it as Hollinsworth threatens to disqualify them, but Dakon climbs back into the ring and starts backing Hollinsworth up while on an angry tirade over the rules. Ludvig climbs to the top rope facing the crowd, glancing back to make sure Luz is still in position and Dakon is keeping the referee from doing anything about it, before he leaps off with a moonsault! Luz, however, is pulled out of the ring by Amelia and Ludvig hits nothing but steel!

Sharper: “Amelia coming to Luz’s rescue and Ludvig lands hard on that steel chair!”

Knots: “Can’t disqualify anybody for that! Wonder how the champions feel about how that turned out, though?”

Dakon turns as he sees what happened as Ludvig is clutching at his midsection and rolling off the chair. He angrily stomps over to grab it, but Amelia pulls it out of the ring and tosses it aside while Luz climbs up onto the apron. Dakon simply lets out a furious roar at Amelia before charging at Luz, who leaps up and wraps her legs around Dakon’s head before yanking him over the top rope and out to the floor with a hurricanrana! She hangs on to the top rope and pulls herself back onto the apron before climbing to the top turnbuckle in her team’s corner, with Amelia hopping onto the apron and grabbing the tag rope before tagging herself in. She runs over to grab Ludvig and pulls him to his feet before The Light In The Darkness connect with the Enchanted Execution! Amelia floats into a cover as Luz plays defense, kicking at Dakon’s hands as he tries to reach into the ring.

2!

Ludvig kicks out! Dakon also manages to grab Luz’s ankle and pulls her out of the ring, stunning her with a european uppercut before throwing her into the barricade!

Sharper: “Luz and Amelia are out here just trying to wrestle, and Dakon and Ludvig just keep trying to break this thing down into a hardcore affair.”

Knots: “If The Light In The Darkness can’t get a handle on this, then what hope do they have of trying to get a handle on the tag division?”

Amelia rolls Ludvig over onto his stomach and ties him up with the Barrier Cage! Ludvig growls and reaches for the ropes, refusing when Hollinsworth asks him if he wants to submit. Seeing his partner in trouble, Dakon moves to retrieve the steel chair that had been discarded and slides into the ring with it, moving to smash Amelia with it to break up the submission, only for Hollinsworth to stand in his way! Dakon demands that he move as Ludvig keeps trying to fight the submission, but as Hollinsworth refuses, Dakon just shoves him down and into Amelia, breaking the Barrier Cage! She gets back to her feet and Dakon goes to hit her with the chair, but she ducks and trips him up with a drop toe hold, draping him across the middle rope and causing the chair to fly out of his hands and up the rampway! He starts to pull himself off the ropes, but Luz suddenly comes running in and catches him in the face with a tiger feint kick! Dakon falls into Ludvig and the couple see their chance as Luz returns to her corner so Amelia can tag her in, waiting until she climbs to the top turnbuckle as the European Fiery Nation help one another to their feet. As soon as they’re up, though, Amelia throws Luz off the top with the Spicy Toss right into them!

Sharper: “Spicy Toss! The Light In The Darkness showing their determination to leave Saitama tonight with a win and doing it their way!”

Knots: “At this point, it may be the kind of statement that reminds the rest of the division exactly why they’re the champions and willing to take on this challenge every single night!”

Dakon rolls out of the ring as Luz glances over to Amelia, the both of them shaking their heads at how this match has turned out so far. Ludvig starts trying to get back to his feet, which Amelia points out to Luz as she steps back out onto the apron, leading to Luz catching him with the Flash Freeze! Seeing an opportunity, she quickly runs to the corner and climbs to the top turnbuckle, signaling to the fans who can’t help but cheer as she leaps off and connects with the Caer del Cielo! She goes for the cover.

2!

Ludvig gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Say what you will about their tactics, but the European Fiery Nation are warriors who have kept fighting through everything The Light In The Darkness has thrown at them!”

Knots: “They’ve got to be getting pretty fed up about no one letting them do this their way, though, if what Dakon’s up to is any indication!”

Out on the floor, we see that Dakon has managed to set up a table, which has drawn a mixed reaction from fans on that side of the ring. Unaware of this and seeing the path to victory, Luz tags Amelia in as they position themselves in opposite corners, measuring Ludvig as he slowly gets back to his feet. Before they can initiate the Wisteria Waltz, however, Dakon grabs Amelia by the ankle and pulls her out of the ring, slamming her face into the apron for good measure! Luz is stunned by this but refocuses and tries to catch Ludvig with the Lights Out anyway, but her hesitation allows Ludvig to see her coming and catch her as she leaves the mat with a cutter! Out on the floor, we see Dakon grab Amelia in a position that fans immediately recognize and start buzzing about. Hollinsworth sees what’s going on and leans over the top rope, warning Dakon that he’ll get his team disqualified, but Dakon is in his own little world as he turns his attention to the nearest camera and nods his head for a close-up.

Theron: “Watch closely, you enigmatic [bleep]! This is going to be you when I get my hands on you!”

With his message sent, he looks to put the exclamation point on it by sending Amelia through the table with The Enigma’s Cryptic Slam. The time he wasted, however, comes back to bite him as Amelia manages to elbow her way out of Dakon’s grip before transitioning into a barrage of european uppercuts! Once she’s stunned Dakon, she moves to climb up onto the apron, only for Ludvig to blast her with a knee strike to the face! She falls back to the floor and leans against the table as Ludvig climbs out of the ring and grabs Dakon, saying something to him that seems to get him to refocus. Seeing the opportunity and ignoring Hollinsworth’s repeated warnings, they position themselves as Ludvig grabs Amelia and they look to hit the European United Drop through the table! Just as Amelia is lifted for the flapjack half of the move, however, Luz slingshots herself over the top rope and catches Amelia in a bodyscissors before throwing the both of them back over the top rope and into the ring in an incredible show of strength and athleticism! The fans are on their feet at this as Ludvig and Dakon realize what happened and see Amelia grinning and kissing Luz in thanks as they get back to their feet. The European Fiery Nation quickly climb up onto the apron, but The Light In The Darkness stun them with stereo running european uppercuts! Ludvig leans against the ropes while Dakon loses his footing and ends up bouncing off the table and to the floor! The fans groan at the impact as the table doesn’t break, but The Light In The Darkness try to block it out of their minds as Amelia grabs the ropes and slingshots Ludvig back into the ring. As he rolls through and ends up back on his feet, Amelia rushes past him as both women rebound off the ropes and catch him with the Wisteria Waltz! Luz makes the cover while Amelia positions herself to play defense if need be.

The bell rings and the fans erupt as “In the Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan Kicks hits again. Hollinsworth raises Luz and Amelia’s arms in victory before the timekeeper hands them their title belts.

Phillips: “Here are your winners… The Light In The Darkness!”

As the champions begin to celebrate this non-title win, Amelia sees Dakon sliding into the ring with another steel chair and they quickly vacate the ring, dodging a wild swing from him in the process. He even turns and swings at Hollinsworth, who thankfully bails from the ring as well before he’s hit. Luz and Amelia manage to retrieve their entrance gear and start backing up the ramp as Dakon angrily slams the chair into the mat and demands they come back and fight.

Sharper: “Dakon furious about this loss…”

Knots: “He’s lucky he didn’t decapitate Steve Hollinsworth and rack up a fine!”

Sharper: “Regardless, the European Fiery Nation’s rage over last week was not enough here tonight. The Light In The Darkness survive this storm, and whether Dakon and Ludvig like it or not, Luz and Amelia won this match their way.”

Knots: “I’ll admit: it wasn’t easy and it wasn’t pretty, but this was just a microcosm of the bigger problem. If Luz and Amelia can handle the European Fiery Nation’s temper tantrum and attempted hardcore antics, then maybe they do have a shot at restoring order to the SCW tag team division. I still wouldn’t put those odds in their favor though, Sharper.”

Luz and Amelia raise their World Tag Team Championship belts high as they just shake their heads at what they just endured while Dakon simply throws the chair to the mat and angrily begs anyone, namely The Light In The Darkness or The Enigma, to “bring their ass to the ring.” Ludvig simply stirs and glares up at Luz and Amelia as they head to the back, mouthing that they’ll have their time at the top, one way or another.

After the match, we cut backstage where Cassie Wolfe is pacing.

Wolfe: “He costs me the title match. He gets involved again! And I…look, Bree-“

Jaina: “Relax, Cassie. Bree knows you mean nothing like that. She wanted to prove herself in the ring. You win and lose there and…”

Wolfe: “Ugh…just…I’ve not held singles gold in so long and I felt good and-“

Jaina: “I know. And at some point, Simon is going to get his. All he’s doing is making a laundry list of people who see through him and he’s become a joke-“

There’s a knock at the door. Jaina turns.

Wolfe: “Oh good-“

CHBK steps in.

CHBK: “Don’t worry Cassie. I saw what happened. I need to talk to Jaina.”

Jaina: “Me? You remember I’m here.”

CHBK: “Please join me out in the hallway. I don’t have much time to talk.”

Jaina gets up and leaves the locker room. She joins CHBK in the hallway.

Jaina: “What’s so important?”

CHBK: “I need you to take over Jessica’s assignments tonight.”

Jaina: “You want me back as interviewer? Not worried about the look, or bias or-“

CHBK: “I still am. But you have experience and right now, Jessica needs the break. Something is off there.”

Jaina: “Okay…uh…let me just grab a nicer shirt.”

CHBK: “Thank you. And please-“

Jaina: “Yeah, don’t worry. I won’t tackle the wrestlers.”

CHBK: “I know you’re professional. I don’t know about all of the others on the roster…”

Jaina: “Oh…”

CHBK heads off as Jaina watches him leave before turning and heading into the locker room.

Destiny Page is backstage as we see Simon Lyman and Dylan Howell talking backstage. Elijah Smith is standing guard as Lisa Archer looks on.

Lyman: “Look, I did what I had to-“

Howell: “But you don’t have Addy and that was the deal and-“

Destiny Page walks over to the scene. Immediately, Elijah Smith obstructs.

Elijah: “You must leave.”

Page: “I’m here to ask Simon some questions-“

Lyman hears this, pushing past Howell.

Lyman: “Questions. Here to interrogate me! Look, I did what I needed to do.”

Page: “And what was that?”

Lyman: “Do you honestly believe Cassie Wolfe deserved a shot? She’s there because Bree and the Lancasters and Chastaines all can’t stand me for reasons I don’t understand. Now, now, I heard Bree. I’m done with her. She doesn’t want to be saved, that’s her loss, but Cassie Wolfe…she’s being manipulated. Put in that match when she’s not ready to pad the stats of Bree after she was sucked in by that succubus Amy!”

Page: “You don’t believe that-“

Lyman: “Oh I do. I’ve seen it first hand.”

Lyman turns to the camera.

Lyman: “Cassie…I was doing that for you. You were going to suffer a terrible defeat and you’d be reminded it. Now, you have something to motivate you and we can make you better. Better to take on Bree, Amy, and the world. Just come see Papa Simon! I’ll help you out!”

Page: “Papa Simon…that’s…she’s 21…she’s-“

Lyman: “Whoa! Whoa! I am not thinking ANYTHING like that. I’m trying to help a young future star! Former trainer here! What is wrong with you? Has Amy gotten to you too? Huh? HUH!”

Page: “After everything you’ve said about them-“

Lyman: “Oh! So Jaina! Huh! Jaina got to you!”

Howell and Archer start to pull Lyman back. Page backs up as Elijah starts to escort her away.

Breakdown returns to the live arena where we see the SCW COO Alex “CHBK” Desoubrais standing in the ring. Also in the ring is a table, a chair, and a leather-bound clipboard.

Sharper: “Welcome back to ringside. And we have a big moment. SCW signing some of the top stars. We saw Leroy Adams getting a shot. Waylon Creek last week. And tonight, we’re adding another great talent new to Supreme Championship Wrestling.”

Knots: “Talk about injecting some fresh blood right before the most important time of the year. Talk about competition!”

Sharper: “Let’s turn it over to the SCW COO, Alex Desoubrais.”

Desoubrais turns to the side, presumably to get his cue, and begins, bringing a microphone to his mouth.

CHBK: “Fans, SCW has for nearly twenty-one years has been the top promotion with the best talent and we continue to bring in the best talent. Why? So we continue to prove we are the best.”

CHBK looks around.

CHBK: “And I’ve been here for the entire time of SCW. I’ve seen a lot of talent come in and as we head into Taking Hold of the Flame and then Rise to Greatness XXI, we’re putting the roster on notice. We’re making sure that the best competition is right here.”

CHBK pauses as the crowd politely applauds.

CHBK: “And that is why I am very excited to announce our newest signing and to have her sign the contract live here on Breakdown. Especially here in Japan that recognizes amazing talent, but also respect for the sport, and a hard work ethic. So, without further ado, please welcome, the newest signee to Supreme Championship Wrestling…-”

The sound of a babbling brook abruptly overtakes the COO’s words. Distant bongos join in, followed by a tribal yell that morphs to into a high-pitched scream of terror. Then, the sound of static, and then just the sounds of the brook. Waylon Creek emerges from behind the curtain, dressed in his shredded flannels. He makes his way to the ring to virtually no reaction.

Knots: “I’m not sure what the hell that was, but it certainly wasn’t as peaceful as last week.”

Sharper: “I’ve done some scouting on this young man, and from what precious little I could tell, he has had a lot of success in his appearances over in Mexico and the UK. He is an otherwise unknown. It’s said he doesn’t fraternize with other talent.”

Creek gets into the ring and cocks his head and CHBK.

CHBK: “Well, I wasn’t quite expecting this, but here’s another new signing, thanks to our scouting department…Waylon Creek, right!”

The crowd laughs as Creek cocks his head the other direction.

CHBK: “You know, Waylon, you made quite the impression last week. When SCW brought you in, you were touted as the guy who could very well be next. I have to admit, I don’t think most people had ever heard of you, but I only have one question. And I think it’s on everybody’s mind. What is with the mask? I’ll admit it’s a bit simple…”

CHBK shrugs as Waylon Creek takes slow steps towards the table. He runs his hand along the edge as he takes slow paces towards CHBK.

CHBK: “You know, Waylon, I—“

Before he can get it out, Waylon frenetically launches the table with his hands and flails his arms wildly after. The crowd ohs. CHBK is drawn back a little bit. Waylon collects himself and extends his hand for the microphone, which CHBK reluctantly extends to him.

Creek: “Concern yourself less with my reason for a mask….and more with your compulsive need to show your faces.”

Empty chatter in the crowd.

Creek: “Ask yourselves this. What’s in a face? Are you so desperate to see the emotion in somebody’s visage that you’ll obsess over the presence of a masked man? Does it scare you? Render you an anxious mess? Does it cost you sleep, knowing that behind a mask, there could be a monster? Or is it even more primitive than that? In most cases, I find it’s the ‘just not knowing’ that gets people’s goats, so to speak. You’re all so obsessed with finding meaning in faces and relating to them that our entire planet is convinced that they can see a face in the moon. An affliction that I am free of suffering from.”

The crowd chatters a bit.

Creek; “As for what’s behind the mask, you will never have to wonder. While I have little intention of showing you all the fault lines in my face, I can assure you that you will be learning that appearances simply don’t matter. What does matter is a man’s choices and a man’s action. Whatever he chooses is what he perpetuates on the world, at least it should be. Words and faces become utterly meaningless in the wake of action. Understand that this is a universal truth, and while human beings long in deep and misguided ways for comfortable truths, this one is anything but comfortable. Now, since we’ve touched on your need to understand and relate and how it is paramount to your frail sense of safety, I’m going to deliver understanding in spades.”

Creek laughs as the crowd seems slightly more stirred.

Creek: “My name is Waylon Creek. And I am not a monster. I am simply an ever-faceless prophet spreading a call to action. And that action, simply put, Alex…is violence.”

“The Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays throughout the arena as the Breakdown logo abruptly comes up on the screen. A still for Veronica Strader vs. Glory Braddock comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “As we…we’ll try to reset here. Glory Braddock will face Veronica Strader. Strader making her singles debut in SCW. Cowgirls wanted to fight. Twisted & Sadistic happy to entertain and here we are. It’s next!”

The scene fades out.

Breakdown returns as the cameras pan throughout the arena.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdo-“

???: “Did you really listen to yourself?”

A coldness rushes over the arena as fans look around. The voice of the Enigma booms throughout the arena.

Knots: “Oh no…”

A feeling of dread comes over the announcers.

Enigma: “Marie…thinking it is all about you. For someone undergoing a redemption arc, you seem to still hold on to all of your faults…like your ego.”

The crowd boos a bit, while several look around.

Enigma: “Kim was a means to an end. To draw our another foe…to set up great loss. You Marie…did not matter. And all you’ve done is expose yourself as the fraud you are.”

The crowd ohs as a faint buzzing noise can be heard under the Enigma’s voice, adding to its unnerving presence.

Enigma: “Ginny…you should learn to be farther away. Perhaps Raab will now understand. And all others…remember my vow I made earlier this year. All will fall beneath me. All will be brought to heel…one way or another.”

The buzzing continues, getting louder and louder.

Knots: “What is that, Sharper?”

Enigma: “It all begins in the mind…right Marie…Konrad….Dakon….who else?”

The last word hangs in the air, offering an added heaviness when suddenly, the buzzing just abruptly ends and spotlights start to circle the arena.

Sharper: “Another unnerving monologue by The Enigma.”

Knots: “What the hell did that mean?!”

Veronica Strader vs. Glory Braddock

The big screen goes blank and the lights drop in the arena. “Cult of Personality” opening riff rips through the arena. The lights begin to flicker dark purple, pink and silver to the beat and the crucifix symbol of Veronica Strader appears on the TitanTron followed by the outline of a Scorpion in her signature purple.

Phillips: “The following contest is schedule for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, making their way to the ring…”

// Look in my eyes

I know your anger, I know your dreams
I've been everything you want to be

The name Veronica Strader in large font starts to flash in silver and purple, getting a cheer reaction from the crowd . A spotlight hits the entrance way as Veronica steps out on stage. She walks to both sides of the top, amping the crowd up!

Hands on her hips, her hair slicked back with water, sneer across her lips. She starts to strut down to the ring, in brand new ring of black pants, with purple scorpions on the outer parts of her hips, and a black leather crop top with the crisscrossed lace across her cleavage up to her neck underneath a black leather jacket with no sleeves and a scorpion with her crucifix on the back of it.

Phillips: “Hailing from Houston, Texas by way of London, Ontario Canada, she is the Baba Jaga of Professional Wrestling, representing the Cowgirls from Hell, she is Veronica Strader!”

The Baba Jaga Veronica Strader stares at the ring.

The cult of personality
Neon lights, a Nobel prize
When a leader speaks, that leader dies
You won't have to follow me
Only you can set you free\\

The Scorpion walks up the steel steps and wipes her boots on the apron before stepping through the second and top rope like a normal human being.

//You gave me fortune, you gave me fame
You gave me power in your god's name
I'm every person you need to be
Oh, I'm the cult of personality\\

Strader stands centre of the ring.

//I am the cult of, I am the cult of
I am the cult of, I am the cult of
I am the cult of, I am the cult of
I am the cult of, I am the cult of personality\\

She sneers as she watches the ramp for her opponent.

Sharper: “Veronica Strader in singles action this week and we’ll see what she can do there. She’ll have some motivation.”

Knots: “That’s putting it mildly. She’s going to go to war with Glory Braddock!”

The first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system...

Phillips: “Her opponent, from London, England, she is The British Bombshell, Glory Braddock!”

Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.

I come alive at the second of midnight
So I can fly when the world is asleep
You scream and howl as I'm taking the first bite
Blood on my tongue tastes of eternity

People will come and go
Some stories never told
They bury me down below
But I'll never die
'Cause I'm immortal
Yes, immortal

The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring.  Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly. She smirks at Veronica Strader who continues to glare at her.

Sharper: “Glory Braddock and Veronica Strader out her alone. Interesting…”

Knots: “Mind games?”

Sharper: “Maybe. After the brawl these two teams had, needing to be separated, things are too cool right now for my liking.”

Veronica looks at Glory as the bell sounds. Glory looks at Veronica and the steps up. She goes to grapple, but Veronica feigns it only to blast Glory with a hard right. The crowd ohs. Glory stumbles back and Veronica then runs at Glory, pushing her back into the corner. She holds her there and forearms her in the jaw once and then again before Glory spins her into the corner. She shops Veronica in the chest. She chops her a second time, and Veronica spins through and sends Glory back in. Veronica kicks her in the ribs and whips her across the ring. Veronica runs after. Glory jumps up and floats over and backs up to the middle of the ring as Veronica stops at the corner. She turns and runs at Glory and Glory hits an arm drag into an armbar. Knots: “And now from the heavens!”

Sharper: “London Plunge!”

Sharper: “That they both did!”

Veronica turns and walks around as Glory stirs and Veronica runs over and grabs Glory and elbows her in the back of the head. As she does, we see Brittany Lohan now starting to walk out from the back. The crowd boos seeing her as Veronica throws Glory into the corner. Glory steps forward and Veronica cracks her with the A Like Supreme. Glory falls back. Veronica then grabs Glory as Lohan heads to the ring and walks around the ring. Veronica notices her before Veronica whips Glory across the ring. As she does, Cara Strader then runs out from the back. She starts to jog down to the ring. But a few steps behind are La Pequena Luz and Amelia Blythe. Cara runs around as Veronica smirks. Lohan turns and puts her hands up. Glory then kicks Veronica in the ribs and hits a drop toe hold, sending her face first into the middle turnbuckle. Cara steps up as Luz and Amelia then run over and try to get between the two.

Backstage, Breakdown returns as Jaina Lancaster is backstage with Ravyn Taylor who is walking back to the LexyCorp locker room.

Jaina: “Ravyn, can I get a quick word? We had you scheduled-“

Ravyn: “Better make it quite quick as I am about to reach my destination.”

Jaina: “Alright. You mentioned there’s a plan and that Syren will challenge for the World Title at Rise to Greatness if she wins the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. How do you plan to do that?”

Ravyn stops at the LexyCorp locker room.

Ravyn: “Two words…one name….Jason Zero.”

Ravyn then opens the door and steps inside. The door closes slowly. Jaina mouths “Jason Zero…”

Sharper: “Jason Zero? Wait…he did win it in 2012…’

Knots: “What happened then? We have to look that up-“

Sharper: “We do…but we have to go to another part of the backstage area. We have a situation!”

We cut to see Glory Braddock and David Striker throwing blows at one another as Brittany Lohan kicks Chris Dumont in the ribs and then nails him with a shot. We then see Amelia Blythe and La Pequena Luz in the fray, trying to keep people apart.

Sharper: “A brawl has broken out and now the Phantom Troupe striking! Striker and Dumont!”

Knots: “Looks like more consequences!”

Braddock and Striker continue to trade blows as Dumont recovers and nails Lohan iwt a couple of shots before Luz gets between them. Blythe tries to get Braddock away from Striker, but Striker keeps going. Officials run into the area and try to help the World Tag Team Champions. The crowd looks on cheering. Just then, random sparkles are thrown into the fray. Dumont spits out some as Lohan looks over. Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO walks into the area flanked by Meowkazawa.

YUYO: “YUYO IS HERE! FOR JUSTICE! FOR LOVE! FOREVER! FOR TAKING HOLD OF THE FLAME!”

YUYO then runs over and nails Lohan with a couple of hard rights as Luz keeps Dumont back. YUYO then grabs Lohan and stops, looking around.

YUYO: “Meowkazawa! Where are the ropes! How do I eliminate?!”

Meowkazawa: “This is a backstage area. June 2 for Taking Hold of the Flame!”

YUYO: “But we are in YUYO’s home nation!”

Meowkazawa: “It’s not here, YUYO!”

YUYO: “You lie uncle!”

YUYO turns to Lohan and Lohan shoves her back. She staggers back and looks at her.

YUYO: “Hey! You don’t shove YUYO! My staff, Meowkazawa!”

Meowkazawa obliges her, handing her the staff.

YUYO: “FOR JUSTICE!”

She holds the staff up before officials stop her and Lohan just looks at her, chuckling. Lohan is held back as the crowd boos.

YUYO: “Hey! YUYO was going to take her out! YUYO style!”

Lohan: “You wish!”

Striker: “You can’t run from us either Glory!”

Dumont: “You too Lohan!”

Amelia and Luz look at one another as they stand in the middle of the chaos as the scene cuts away.

We open up to see Jessica Winters with Deanna Frost in an unused room, that’s been turned into a makeshift locker room. Deanna now has her gear with her, along with the SCW United States Championship. Winters is laying down on the bench in the room.

Deanna: “Not the best option here, but best we can do until we get the travel to get you to the hotel.”

Winters: “I swear I’m fine. I…messed up. It happens. I’m human.”

There’s a knock at the door.

Deanna: “Come in!”

Hiro Tanaka sticks his head in, bottles of water in his hand.

Tanaka: “Here is some water. Need anything else?”

Deanna: “This is great for now.”

Winters: “Yes…uh…thanks. I’m sorry to be this trouble.”

Tanaka: “Just relax. We’ll get you to the hotel and you’ll get some proper rest.”

Tanaka exits as Deanna turns to Winters.

Deanna: “Look, I’ve probably got something to eat in the bag too.”

Winters: “Thanks…”

Winters weakly says as she sits down and Deanna turns and bends over, looking through her gear. As she does this, Winters’ demeanour turns as she then reaches down to her shoe and starts to undo her laces. Deanna continues to rifle through her bag.

Deanna: “Have a few things from back home that I could find here. So much good food, but sometimes you want what you’re used to and-“

Suddenly, Winters wraps the lace she was taking out around the neck of Deanna.

Sharper: “What the…Jessica! What are you doing?”

Knots: “She has snapped!”

Deanna struggles as Winters pulls back. Deanna struggles, getting a hand up before turning and managing to take Winters down with a snapmare. The jostling and commotion leads Hiro Tanaka to run into the room.

Tanaka: “Deanna!...Jessica?!”

Deanna: “Jessica, what are you doing?”

Winters rolls over and blinks before falling over. Deanna looks on stunned as Tanaka heads over to Deanna.

Deanna: “Check her…what the hell was that?”

Tanaka turns to Winters as the scene fades out.

Deanna: “Getting her to the hotel…but…I….”

Jaina: “What happened?”

Deanna: “I…I was just getting a snack for her and she tried to choke me out with her shoelace.”

Jaina: “What? Jessica?! Captain Professionalism?”

Deanna: “Yeah…and my friend…and…something isn’t right here.”

Derek Adonis vs. Xander Valentine

KABLAAAAAAAAAAM!!!

The sound of a xylophone scale is heard, signifying the start of the KABLAMian Tabernacle Choir's jingle, “Come In KABLAMia”...

Derek Adonis rolls out atop the ramp on a cloud, alongside a number of the citizens of KABLAMia: Sweet Sangria, Mimi Mimosa, Het Meisje, and Anastasia Fantasia among them. The crowd rise to their feet in a raucous applause at the display of flesh in front of them...

Welcome to the land that loves below the belt
The sky’s are clear and pleasure is felt
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia

Adonis partially rises to his knees, waving out to the crowd as chants of "KABLAM" ring out throughout the arena. The cloud continues to roll it's way down the ramp.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, accompanied by the KABLAMia Tourism Board, from KABLAMia, he is Man Mountain, Derek Adonis!”

Where fun-loving people can give right in
To a Man Mountain utopia where everyone wins
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia

Sweet Sangria always dressed in smile
Many men and women will go the extra mile
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia

The women on the cloud toss out small, travel-sized bottles of Derek Adonis Heavy KABLAM Lubricant and folded up travel brochures to the crowd.

The lube flows freely, never enough
It’s a copyrighted formula, the right stuff
But even still they make you feel right at home
Whether you love cleaning the carpet or polishing chrome

The cloud makes it to the bottom of the ramp and Adonis hops off first, reaching up to help the four primary women off. They step down, each planting a kiss on the cheek of Man-Mountain before heading up the stairs. Adonis follows up last and pulls himself through the ropes, lifting them for the four women to enter the ring as well.

We don’t kink-shame here, it never allowed
It’s a comfortable place while you’re being plowed
Your greatest dreams are always on tap
Your can register now with our convenient app

Adonis moves around to the four corners, climbing onto the bottom rope to throw out travel brochures as far as he can.

That’s right, KABLAM is expanding…
It’s the dream of Derek Adonis
Come in KABLAMia, sunny KABLAMia
We mean YOU!

After finishing (heh), Adonis moves to the middle of the ring, posing with the four women around him. As the song ends, he bellows out with it...

Adonis: “KABLAAAAAAAAAAAAM!”

Knots: “Sharper, do you think Xander wants to go to KABLAMia?”

Sharper: “I think not.”

Knots: “But Derek Adonis has plans. Big plans. Plans that involve Taking Hold of the Flame, the US Title, the Underground Title, the…”

Sharper: “He’s going to have to focus on Xander Valentine who isn’t here to just get an offer to go to KABLAMia. He’s here to keep tuned up as he has Selena Frost in a month’s time.”

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

Others are born to run

Some need to keep on takin'

Till you ain't got none”

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise”

“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp while Artemis steps up from behind him and throws his arm up into the air. Together they start down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by Artemis, fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado from Rochester, New York, he is the SCW Hall of Famer, the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner, Xander Valentine!”

Suffocate me until I am blue

To preserve my bad worldview

Paranoid, All Eyes On Me

Rumours circle, vultures feed

Baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Artemis joins him by slipping below the bottom rope. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell. Artemis leans up and whispers into his ears before departing with a kiss on his neck. Adonis nods, almost impressed by the display of intimacy by his opponent.

Knots: “Adonis…I wouldn’t gawk!”

Sharper: “Xander Valentine, that switch will flip…”

Knots: “Don’t judge it either. Oh…god…I’m still waiting for my visa to clear! I can’t have him die tonight!”

The bell sounds. Derek Adonis turns to Sweet Sangria and grabs a pamphlet from her. He turns, smiling and walks towards Xander Valentine who immediately boots him in the face. The crowd ohs as Adonis hits the mat, the pamphlet going flying. Xander walks around the ring as Adonis, holds his face.

Sharper: “I don’t think that worked, Derek!”

Knots: “Oh God…they better honour my desire to explore the grounds after he’s dead!”

Adonis rolls over as Xander walks over and stands over him. Adonis reaches up and starts to pull himself up, using Xander and Xander pulls him up before nailing him with a haymaker. Adonis stumbles back and falls to the corner. Xander steps up and nails him again. Adonis falls to a knee. Xander hoists him up in the corner. Xander then nails him in the stomach with a hard right and then a left before nailing him with a series of hard rights and lefts as the official counts.

Adonis pulls himself up to his feet. He then turns and walks into Xander who boots him in the face again. Adonis hits the mat. Xander then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and jumping up and hitting an elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

Adonis stumbles around and nailing him in the back with a clubbing blow.

Sharper: “Adonis fighting back. He’s shown more resiliency as of late.”

Knots: “More stamina with his new training regiment in KABLAMia!”

Sharper: “And Xander now being pummeled by Man Mountain!”

Adonis clubs Xander in the back over and over before then jumping up and hitting a double axe handle smash. Xander falls to his knees and Adonis runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running boot. Xander falls over. Adonis goes for the splash. He stays down for the pin.

Sharper: “Big slam on Man Mountain!”

Knots: “Just dropping him. Hoisting him up and driving him down.”

Adonis grimaces and rolls over, pulling his top down. Xander gets up and walks over to Adonis and drags him up. He then scoops him up onto his shoulder and turns and hits a snake eyes. Adonis staggers back and Xander turns and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a clothesline. Adonis ducks. The crowd roars as Xander turns around and Adonis scoops him up and hits a fall forward slam. He goes for the pin.

Xander kicks out. Adonis rolls off. He then gets up and moves to the ropes. He bounces off and Xander gets up and grabs him by the throat. The crowd roars. Xander then hoists Adonis up and hits a chokeslam.

Sharper: “And a thunderous chokeslam!”

Knots: “The rumbling is not from his loins, but them getting jostled around!”

Sharper: “Xander Valentine just showing immense strength, manhandling Man Mountain!”

Adonis rolls over, wincing in pain. He looks over to his tourism board and reaches out, but Xander walks over and grabs his wrist. Adonis looks up and then slowly gets up to his knees and holds his hand out before Xander shakes his head. He then pulls him up and right into his shoulder. Adonis stumbles back into the ropes before backing into Xander. Xander then hoists him up. The crowd roars as Xander has Adonis over his shoulders. Xander then looks out and drops him with the Valhalla has Fallen. The crowd ohs and Xander turns and rolls Adonis to his back and covers him.

Xander Valentine has his arm raised and looks at the camera. He then turns as Artemis enters the ring. She walks over and Xander nods at her. Artemis looks at Adonis as Adonis remains down. Sweet Sangria, Mimi Mimosa, Het Meisje, and Anastasia Fantasia all enter the ring. They crawl over to Adonis and gather around him. Artemis glances over again before Xander motions for her to leave. She exits with Xander and the two walk around the ring. Adonis is slowly checked on by the four women as the scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Xander Valentine walks backstage with Artemis by his side. He takes a few more steps before Jaina Lancaster enters the scene.

Jaina: “Xander! An impressive victory.”

Xander: “Mmm-hmmm.”

Jaina: “Safe to say that was a response to Selena Frost’s claims last week that nothing has changed.”

Xander stops and turns to Jaina.

Xander: “What Selena fails to understand is that that night, that night she wants to taunt me about…that did change me permanently. I went from immortality…to knowing the clock was ticking. And if she thinks that won’t change a competitor…the she is as deluded as many have claimed she is. Tonight…tonight was merely a message that anyone in my way, accomplished or not, upstart or not…serious or not…will not be in my way for long. So Selena, believe what you wish. I know what I know.”

Xander motions to Artemis. The two head off.

Jaina: “Back to ringside.”

Scott Reed vs. Sean Michael Prime

As the arena lights dim, a hushed anticipation falls over the crowd. The haunting notes of Metallica's "Turn the Page" resonate through the speakers, setting the stage for the arrival of Sean Michael Prime. Slowly emerging from the shadows. Sean stands at the top of the ramp with a determined gaze. He walks with purpose down the entrance ramp, his worn silhouette illuminated by a lone spotlight.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, making his way to the ring, from Salem, Massachusetts, Sean Michael Prime!"

With every step, SMP absorbs the energy of the arena, his long hair flowing in rhythm with the haunting melody. As the chorus kicks in, the crowd begins to stir, caught between the raw emotion of the song and the enigmatic presence of Sean as he slowly approaches the ring. Sean climbs into the ring, casting a stoic gaze across the audience. The metallic strains of "Turn the Page" amplify the intensity of the moment. Sean starts pacing around the ring awaiting for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Sean Michael Prime is hoping tonight may be his night. Scott Reed beat him in the fatal four way match at Taking the Leaf. He’s hoping the odds are better one on one.”

Knots: “Statistically they are, but SMP is also getting more and more desperate and that can go two ways. And right now, it’s looking like he’s taking more chances and not getting the results.”

The arena goes dark and a  voice can be heard saying ”And the story goes…a young man will come…to save the universe from the forces of evil…

The voice dies down for a few moments before “I Will” by Eminem featuring KXNG Crooked, Royce da 5'9" & Joell Ortiz kicks in.

“And I don't think that I can stop it, here it comes…I do my best to try to block it, redrum…I've been sipping on like, vodka, head's numb...I'm blacking out, you better watch it, it's bedlam…”

The lights come back on and Scott Reed steps out from the entrance way, the crowd erupting in cheers.

“I thought I heard a voice in my head that said, "Kill"
I had no other choice that was left except fill
My pencil full of poisonous lead, the devil
He wants me to murder this beat, so I will”

Reed makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans along the way. He reaches the ring and goes up the ring steps. Going across the apron, he looks out at the crowd once again as they continue to cheer. Climbing into the ring, Reed goes to the center.

Phillips: “His opponent, weighing in at two-hundred and twenty pounds, hailing from New York City, New York, he is Scott Reed!”

“He told me there are doubters who question my skill
They wanna put my style to the test, am I still
The best? They want the crown on my head, I said, "Chill
If you want me to murder this beat, then I will"

Reed climbs up to the top rope and points to the center of his chest, mouthing the words, ‘I will’ as the music dies down. Hopping down from the turnbuckle, he leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Scott Reed returning to action here on Breakdown. He won his return match, as mentioned, at Taking the Leap. Can he repeat against Sean Michael Prime?”

Knots: “Just keep your head on a swivel. You’re not longer the office. Attacking Kirsten Scott last week. Are you nuts?”

Sharper: “Did it because of Scott targeting him before he called it originally a career. Guess he couldn’t hold back the opportunity to get some revenge.”

The bell sounds as Reed and SMP watch one another. They lock up in the middle of the ring and Reed turns into an arm wrench. SMP winces and Reed jerks on the arm. He then wrenches the arm again as SMP winces. Reed then pushes SMP into the ropes. He fires him off. SMP bounces off and Reed goes for a back elbow. SMP ducks and bounces off the other side and hits a Lou Thesz Press. He rolls off and Reed gets up and Prime kicks him in the ribs. He then nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Reed falls back into the corner. SMP doesn’t stop, continuing to club at Reed, nailing him with repeated right hands. Reed covers up as the official counts.

SMP backs up, his arms up and walking around the ring, trying to avoid going too far.

Knots: “Putting his hands up…he’d know.”

Sharper: “Stop it! You mentioned SMP being desperate. Tonight, he’s being more aggressive. So far, it’s working.”

Knots: “Unless he goes too far.”

Reed looks up as SMP walks over and grabs him. He then pulls him out and scoop slams him. Prime jumps up and goes for an elbow drop, but Reed rolls out of the way. Prime winces and turns and gets up and Reed hits a jawbreaker. Prime falls to the ropes. Reed gets up and chops him. The crowd woos. He chops him again. More woos. He then goes to whip Prime into the ropes. Prime spins through and sends Reed in. Reed bounces off and ducks a clothesline. Reed stops and Prime turns around. Reed grabs his head and hits a standing shiranui. He goes for the pin.

Reed kicks out.

Sharper: “And Prime desperately for the pin. But it’s going to take more than a lucky shot to keep Scott Reed down.”

Knots: “But what if?”

Sharper: “What if is nice, but I don’t know if Prime has a strategy or if he just desperately hoping his instinct works.”

Reed gets up and Prime kicks him in the ribs and pulls him in. He hits a vertical suplex. Reed winces and Prime gets up. He then waits as Reed gets up and grabs him from behind. He sets up for a full nelson facebuster, but Reed drops down and pulls Prime forward into a roll-up pin.

SMP kicks out. Both get up and Reed wrenches his arm and then jumps to the top rope and hits a tornado DDT. The crowd ohs. Reed goes for the pin.

Prime kicks out. Both get up and Reed grabs Prime again. He clubs him in the back once and then again before then hooking him up for the Unmasked, but Prime just punches him repeatedly in the jaw. Reed drops him and Prime turns and hits a dropkick. Reed falls back and down to the mat before rolling to the floor. Prime looks up and then down, trying to keep himself focused and psyching himself up. Reed slowly starts to get up on the floor. (1) The crowd however roars as Prime looks on and starts to plead towards Reed. The camera turns to show Kirsten Scott running up behind Reed. Scott looks in the ring as Prime then lunges for the ropes.

Prime: “No! Please!”

Scott turns, realizing something is up as Scott grabs him and spins him around and throws him shoulder first into the steel steps. The crowd ohs as Prime then turns and grabs at the shirt and waist of the official, trying to stop them from disqualifying him.

Sharper: “Prime had Reed down. But Kirsten Scott is here and just threw Reed into the steps!”

Knots: “Right in front of the referee. And look at Sean Michael Prime. He’s pleading. He’s pleading…”

Sharper: “Not going to work. There’s the bell.”

The official still calls for the bell. The bell sounds as Prime looks down and smacks the mat in anger. Reed grimaces in pain as Scott kicks the top half of the steps off. She then looks at Reed and pulls him up. She then hooks him up and spins him down with a falcon arrow on the bottom half of the steps. Reed yells out in pain and he rolls to the mats. Scott gets up and looks at him. Prime looks around, almost trying to weigh options before turning and rolling to the floor. Scott senses this as Prime turns and spins her around.

Prime: “The hell is wrong with you-“

Scott then nails him with a hard right and before Prime can react, she grabs him and runs him face first into the ringpost. Prime spins off and rolls down to the mats. Scott glares at him before turning back to Reed. Reed is now on his stomach, reaching out as Scott walks over to him and stomps him in the face.

Scott: “You wanted to reopen this wound. I wouldn’t mind a punching bag until I get what I want!”

Scott stomps him again and again.

Sharper: “Prime trying to stop Scott, but I don’t think to help Scott Reed!”

Knots: “Kids, remember, don’t be a good Samaritan! Just let the angry woman beat up the foolish man who started it!”

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott stomping away on Scott Reed. Pure rage driving her.”

Scott stomps him a couple more times before officials come out and start to pull Scott back. Scott just glares at Reed as Reed holds his face in pain. Prime rolls to his side, leaning against the barricade, looking down as Scott turns and looks out at the crowd. She turns back to Reed.

Scott: “You did this, Scott! You did this!”

Scott backs up as the scene cuts away.

The Enigma vs. Marie Jones

SCW Television Championship

As the eerie strains of "Whispers of the Abyss" begin to echo through the arena, the lights dim, plunging the venue into an unsettling darkness. A thick fog creeps across the entrance ramp, shrouding it in an otherworldly mist.

A chilling gust of wind sweeps through the arena, causing a collective shiver among the spectators. Suddenly, a single spotlight pierces the gloom, revealing the imposing figure of The Enigma standing at the top of the ramp.

His mask, an enigmatic visage of darkness, glistens ominously in the dim light. Clad in a long, tattered black robe that billows around him like a specter, The Enigma exudes an aura of malevolence that is palpable even from a distance.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit and it is for the SCW Television Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, The Enigma!”

With each step, the haunting melody of "Whispers of the Abyss" intensifies, sending shivers down the spines of those in attendance. The audience's anticipation is met with a creeping dread as The Enigma descends the ramp, his presence a looming specter of the unknown.

As he reaches the ring, The Enigma climbs the steel steps with deliberate, measured movements. He enters the ring through the ropes, his masked gaze fixed on some unseen point in the distance. The crowd's unease grows with each passing moment.

Once inside the ring, The Enigma raises his arms slowly, and the fog around him thickens, obscuring his form. The spotlight flickers, casting eerie, shifting shadows that dance across the canvas.

And then, in an instant, the spotlight extinguishes, plunging the arena into complete darkness. The music fades, and all that remains is the haunting silence, broken only by the faint, echoing whispers of the abyss.

Phillips: And his opponent…

"You and I walk a fragile line

I have known it all this time

But I never thought I'd live to see it break

It's getting dark and its all too quiet

And I can't trust anything now

And its comin' over you like its all a big mistake"

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the reigning and defending SCW Television Champion…

"Holding my breathe, won't lose you again

Something's made your eyes go cold"

Phillips: ..."The Phoenix" Marie Jones!!!!!!!!!!

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the arena.  Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring. As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story.  Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring.  She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd.

Sharper: “Marie Jones will deal with the challenge of the Enigma, who has already shared his thoughts.”

Knots: “Marie thought it was more about her. Enigma correcting her. And here we are. And we know many will want to get their hands on Enigma too!”

The Enigma’s eerie laugh echoes throughout the arena.  This causes Marie to immediately spring into action with a flurry of strikes including chops, kicks, a spinning elbow, a spinning heel kick, Muay Thai Knee Strikes, and then a running harley race style knee strike.  The Enigma is stunned but he doesn’t go down.  Marie with three straight superkicks in a row and The Enigma drops to his knees.  Marie charges off the ropes and goes for Kissed By Fire but Enigma explodes out with a spinning back elbow followed up by a leaping knee strike.

Sharper: “Good God. That offense. Enigma as explosive as anyone we’ve ever seen.”

Knots: “And Marie just found that out first hand!”

Enigma whips Marie into a corner.  He charges in with a corner splash.  He taunts The Phoenix with his loud mysterious laugh that echoes throughout the arena.  Corner strikes from Enigma, knife edge chops, then a snap suplex out of the corner.  Whispering choked hold.  The Phoenix breaks free eventually with elbow strikes to the side of his head.  The champion staggers back to her feet.  She turns into The Eclipse Kick.  He covers…

2…Kickout!

The Enigma whips Jones back into a corner.  He charges in for another splash but this time Marie is able to evade contact and The Enigma hits nothing but the corner.  He staggers out of the corner and Marie drops him with Kissed by Fire, the busaiku knee strike.  Marie runs towards the ropes and goes for the springboard lionsault, Divine Impact, but Enigma rolls out of the way, but Marie with great agility and athleticism lands on her feet.  Enigma pounces back to his feet and drops Marie with a cross body block.

Sharper: “And off his feet, while these mind games continue to plague this match.”

Knots: “Almost like he’s getting more and more brazen!”

The Enigma pulls Marie back to her feet before putting her back down with a back breaker.  He pulls her back up and goes for a snap suplex but Marie floats over and strikes him with a back cracker.  She kips up to her feet.  Enigma goes for a lariat but she ducks and lands a pele kick.  Marie kicks him in the gut and plants him with The Hot Shot, pedigree.  She hits the ropes, springboards off the middle, and lands The Divine Impact.  She hooks a leg for a cover…

1…

2…Kickout!

Jones quickly goes to his legs and tries to turn him over into The Angel’s Arch but Enigma is much too strong and powerful and easily throws her off with his leg strength.  Marie goes for a superkick when he gets up but he elusively evades it.  Enigma then hits the ropes and leaps off his feet with a flying forearm.  The Enigma then snatches The Phoenix and plants her with Cryptic Slam.  He covers…

1…

2…

…3NO!

Sharper: “And Marie getting the shoulder up, just in time, after the Cryptic Slam!”

Knots: “She needs to figure something out. There’s not much left if she keeps taking these shots!”

The Enigma climbs up to the top rope.  He goes for a moonsault but Jones rolls out of the way and Enigma hits absolutely nothing!  The champion strikes with a scissors kick but again The Enigma keeps getting up.  Marie hits the ropes, springboards off the second, and strikes an asai reverse ddt.  The Enigma rolls out onto the ring apron.  Marie with a springboard dropkick knocking him off the apron but he lands on his feet.  The Phoenix charges and leaps over the top taking him down with a suicide corkscrew plancha!

Sharper: “And over the top! Corkscrew plancha to the floor!”

Knots: “There you go! Do that a few more times!”

The champion takes Enigma and smashes him face first repeatedly against the steel steps.  She lays him against the steps, takes a few steps back, and charges in, driving her knee into his face and thus his head back against the steel steps!  Jones rolls back into the ring to break the count.  She rolls back out of the ring and then takes Enigma and sets him up for an Ave Maria on the outside but Enigma counters with a back suplex on the outside.  Enigma then throws her roughly into the steel ring post.

Sharper: “Oh God! Right into the steel!”

Knots: “And steel wins. Sorry Marie!”

Enigma pulls Marie back to her feet and rolls her into the ring.  Marie pulls herself back up.  He goes for another Eclipse Kick but Marie ducks out of the way and connects with another pele kick.  Marie then plants him with another Hot Shot, the pedigree!  Marie goes up to the top turnbuckle, and she leaps off with a shooting star press!  She connects!  She hooks a leg…

1…

2…

…3NO! Enigma powers out!

Jones doesn’t let up.  She hits the ropes and goes for another Divine Impact but this time Enigma is quick to his feet.  He catches her in mid-air and then plants her back down with a power slam!

Sharper: “And again…Marie struggling to keep momentum as the Enigma seems to always have an answer.”

Knots: “He knows he’s in her head and it’s playing a role.”

The Enigma locks the champion in Serpant’s Coil.  Marie fights to the ropes, refusing to quit.  Eventually she does reach the bottom rope.  Enigma with an Enigmatic takedown followed by a big splash.  The Enigmatic Twist locked in.  Again Marie won’t give up.  She eventually reaches the ropes to force a break.

Sharper: “Marie manages to break the hold.”

Knots: “But what does she have left?”

The Enigma begins to taunt Jones with more of the creepy, mysterious laughter that fills the air.  Jones pulls herself back up while The Enigma is measuring, stalking his prey.  He drops her with an Eclipse Kick.  He follows it up with another Cryptic Slam.  The cover…

1…

2…

…3NO! Marie shoots her right shoulder up off the mat!

Enigma pulls The Phoenix up to her feet.  He whips her into the ropes and goes for a lariat but she ducks it, hits the other side, and comes back with a variation of the slingblade.  Marie kips up to her feet and then goes to the ring apron, measuring Enigma while he gets to his feet.  Marie with a springboard dropkick putting Enigma down!  Enigma, though, quickly gets back to his knees, but Marie plants him with The Vindicator!  She covers…

1…

2…

…3NOO!  Enigma kicks out!

Sharper: “Vindicator! No! Only two!”

Knots: “Best chance she’s had to put him away!”

Even Marie is shocked that Enigma kicked out of one of her finishes.  She pulls him back up and goes for Ave Maria but he counters by shoving her off into the ropes.  He goes for a pop up power bomb but Marie counters that with a frankensteiner!  Marie kips up to her feet and then plants Enigma on his head with The Ave Maria!  She covers, hooking both legs this time…

1…

2…

…3NOO!! Enigma kicks out!

The Phoenix is stunned!  Her best move, The Ave Maria, didn’t finish him!  At this moment Chris Dumont, The Ronin, makes his way down to the ring.

Sharper: “And wait a minute. The Troupe back out. They made their presence felt against Twisted & Sadistic. Dumont remembers last week and you wonder if Striker not at 100% after earlier!”

Knots: “Do you think that would stop him? Or if he getting the attention of people backstage and Dumont got out!”

Boos echo in the arena.  This is due to the arrival of Dakon Theron, who is being held back by Ludvig Eriksson.  The two European Fiery Nation members confront Dumont.  Marie turns her attention away from The Enigma and up at the new arrivals.

Marie Jones: “STAY OUT OF THIS!  This is my fight!”

Theron and Eriksson ignore the threats and make their way further down to the ring but they are met by Dumont. Meanwhile Enigma has risen back to his feet.  Marie turns around and ducks a lariat.  Champion and challenger trade right hands.  But then more loud booing erupts from the fans…it’s Konrad Raab! He jumps the railing and enters the ring.

Sharper: “And Raab! Konrad Raab! After Enigma attacked Ginny!”

Knots: “And he’s in the ring!”

Konrad grabs Marie and throws her hard to the ground.  This immediately causes the referee to signal for the bell.

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner via disqualification, and still SCW Television Champion, “The Phoenix” Marie Jones!

Konrad and Enigma are now trading rights, back and forth.  Konrad backs The Enigma, still winded from his fight with Jones, against the ropes.  Raab clotheslines himself and Enigma over the top and to the outside.  Raab and Enigma continue their brawl through the crowd.  Meanwhile Marie pulls herself up and is frustrated that her victory came the way it did.

“Psycho in my Head” plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. Selena Frost vs. Polly Pingotti comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “As we try to regain order, our main event is next! Selena Frost faces Polly Pingotti!”

The scene fades to black.

Backstage, Chris Dumont is now with David Striker.

Dumont: “Sorry…”

Striker: “Nah…next week, we’ll get on him…on them…We’re not backing down…”

Striker then turns to the camera.

Striker: “Now I am going to say something and I want everyone to actually pay attention and *LISTEN* because I’m only going to say this one time and one time only and what that is is that the Phantom Troupe is nobody's stepping stone. No matter what certain little assholes in that other place seem to try to and make you believe that just because we chose to follow our own narrative and our downright refusal to play by their games, and that includes specific small minded little creatures here in SCW.”

“You see, I believe in the talent in her Supreme Championship Wrestling. I believe in supporting Polly and the Playgirls. I believe in supporting Kimberly Williams and the Underground division…we *BELIEVE* in this *COMPANY* and we are willing to fight for this company and the people that we support…but I downright refuse to allow certain acts of sheer fucking *STUPIDITY* to go unanswered.”

Striker pauses.

David: “Braddock and Lohan had this coming for quite some time now, and after tonight they can choose to either let things lie and *ACCEPT* the punishment that’s been awaiting them…or they can choose the path of sheer stupidity and believe that they need to beat their chests and try to get blood out of us…at which point the Troupe will simply make things even worse for the two of them.”

Dumont nods.

David: “We don’t want your spot as the next Tag Team champions…but understand this, ladies and understand well that if you choose to try and step up the violence, Miss Braddock, and you know full well that I’m not afraid to BLEED in order to get my point across, you stupid little bint. So if you or your little…friend…attempt to force the issue by attacking anyone *IN* OR *CONNECTED* to my Troupe again, then for all of your bravado I want you to fully understand that not only will you loose your shot at the tag team titles, but I will personally come and ensure that I will carve my pound of flesh from your stupid, useless *HIDE*.”

David paces a bit.

Striker: “Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go and plan how to carve what’s owed to me out of Enigma.”

Striker and Dumont walk off.

Selena Frost vs. Polly Pingotti

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot but then there is complete silence, nothing on the SCW big screen appearing.  It is 10 seconds before the beginning of "Prisoner" by Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa begins to play. Polly emerges from the back. The crowd gives off a mixed reaction as Polly looks around the arena and nods. She takes a deep breath as she heads to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall for TV Time remaining and is your main event of the evening. First, from Panguitch, Utah… Polly Pingotti!”

Polly reaches the ring, walking up the steel steps before stepping through the ropes. She walks around the ring as the mixed reaction continues before she turns her focus to the stage, looking determined and ready for battle.

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti may be the underdog here, but that’s how she likes it. She has come and shown she’ll fight anyone. After the last year she’s had, she’s shown she is tough.”

Knots: “Too bad that Selena Frost may not respect that now. She may just be seen as someone in her way right now.”

Sharper: “There was a time I would say that would be unfair, but I’m not sure anymore.”

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. The SCW World Championship sits around her waist.

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Nome, Alaska, by way of New York City, New York, she is the Snow Queen, the SCW World Champion, Selena Frost!”

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal. She places the World Title in the corner before turning to Polly.

Sharper: “Fans even disappointed in Selena Frost here in Japan!”

Knots: “You’d think they’d support the honour, but I guess they don’t care for her methods!”

Sharper: “And we should point out, yes, this is the main event. Selena Frost making that a new facet of this whole movement she’s involved in.”

Selena Frost looks at Polly Pingotti as Pingotti stretches out a bit. Aaron Demitra, the official, calls for the bell. The bell sounds and Polly runs at Selena and Selena ducks a clothesline, but Polly then runs up the corner and twists off with a corkscrew moonsault. Selena manages to duck that and Polly rolls through. Selena turns and runs at her, but Polly ducks a clothesline. Selena hits the ropes and Polly backflips back, placing her legs around the head of Selena and takes her down with a headscissors takedown. The crowd ohs. Selena gets up and Polly kicks her in the ribs and then whips her into the ropes. Selena bounces off and Polly hits a huge dropkick. The crowd ohs. Polly goes for the pin.

Knots: “The brick wall doesn’t fight back though. Selena does.”

Polly gets up and turns as Selena kicks her in the ribs, hooks her head and arm and hits a snap suplex. Polly turns and stirs only for Selena to grab her again, this time from behind and hits a snap back suplex. She bridges up.

She then lifts then up before falling back, hitting a vicious slingshot, driving Polly’s throat into the bottom rope. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Good lord. Polly’s throat into the bottom rope.”

Knots: “Jesus. Selena trying to decapitate her?’

Sharper: “We’ve never seen Selena just that violently going for someone’s throat.”

Knots: “I mean Polly can’t fight if she can’t breathe!”

Polly rolls over, holding her throat in pain. Demitra warns Selena and Selena goes for the pin.

She hits her again before Selena knees Polly in the side of the head. Polly nearly falls back. Selena then positions Polly and then jumps up and hits a top rope frankensteiner.

Selena moves into the pin.

Polly gets her shoulder up and rolls over.

Sharper: “No! Polly kicks out!”

Knots: “And Selena Frost only going to be more motivated to do more to her.”

Polly rolls over as Selena looks at her. She gets up and drags up Polly before hitting a snap back suplex. Selena rolls off and looks around before moving to the corner. She climbs up to the top rope. The crowd looks on, some in awe, some booing. Selena then glances back before then diving off with a huge top rope moonsault, but Polly rolls out of the way. Selena crashes to the mat. The crowd ohs. Selena pops up and slowly gets up, holding her chest, and Polly runs at her, grabbing her head and spinning through with a tornado DDT.

Sharper: “Tornado DDT. Selena missed the moonsault. Polly got it all!”

Knots: “And Selena was spiked!”

Polly turns and hooks the leg.

Selena shoots her shoulder up again. Polly rolls off and gets up and turns to her. She says something to her before getting up and exiting to the apron. She then starts to get up to the top rope. She looks over at Selena as Selena slowly pulls herself up again.

Sharper: “Two nearfalls and Polly going for more. About to Fall maybe?”

Knots: “And Selena may not get to get out of the way! Polly on target!”

Polly dives off and lands on Selena, but Selena and Polly roll through from the About to Fall and Selena ends up with Polly’s head between her legs. She hoists her up and hits a piledriver. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Selena Frost with a piledriver?!”

Knots: “Legal now under CHBK!”

Polly is down on the mat and rolls to her side. Selena then gets up and turns and moves to the corner. She climbs up to the top rope again, wincing the entire way. She holds her head and neck before then glancing back and this time, connecting with the moonsault. The crowd ohs, but Selena, again, doesn’t go for the pin. She then gets up to her feet as Polly is down and Selena turns and looks at Polly. Polly rolls over, weakly. She grabs at her chest and then slowly stirs as Selena then grabs her and pulls her up. Polly shoves her back in defiance. Selena hits the ropes and then ducks a clothesline from Polly, jumping to the top rope and diving back with the Defying Gravity. Selena hits it and Polly hits the mat. Selena turns and rolls her over and hooks the leg, smiling.

Sharper: “And look at the smile on the face of Selena Frost! Defying Gravity!”

Knots: “Same move she put Xander down with at Rise to Greatness. More to make the point I bet. That’s how quick she can turn it all and hit you, over and over, to beat you!”

Sharper: “Polly overwhelmed. Selena the cover!”

The bell sounds. Selena rolls off and moves to her knee. She then starts to get up. She points to her title and heads over to it.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Selena Frost!”

Sharper: “Selena Frost victorious.”

Knots: “And she’s pointing at the World Title. Her World Title!”

The camera follows her over as Selena walks over and grabs the title. She then looks at the camera.

Selena: “Paying attention Xander. I’m not that fat lech, and I’m still as dangerous as ever!”

As Selena talks though, the Japanese crowd roars as Selena keeps yelling at the camera.

Selena: “So watch closely…you can’t touch me. And you can’t beat me and-“

Selena then is pulled away as the camera cuts wide to show Kandis in a hoodie pulling her away from the corner. Kandis turns and mounts her as the crowd looks on in awe. Kandis hammers away on Selena Frost with hard right hands. Selena covers up as she does and Kandis just hammers away over and over. The bell sounds again, as Demitra tries to stop Kandis.

Sharper: “Kandis! Kandis from the crowd! Did she fly herself to Japan? It’s May 2…her suspension is over!”

Knots: “And she’s making up for lost time!”

Sharper: “Demitra trying to get Kandis off-“

Knots: “Excuse me?!”

Kandis gets a few more shots on as Demitra manages to get Kandis to lose her balance just enough. Selena rolls over. Blood can be seen coming from her forehead from the right hands. Selena staggers up and tries to escape, but Polly, now up at the ropes, happens to be where Selena attempts to exit and nails her with a hard right. The crowd ohs. Selena turns and walks right into a Kandis Starmaker. The crowd erupts. Kandis turns, spinning around, her arms out, letting out a victorious yell.

Sharper: “Xander can’t attack her. But Kandis damn sure has!”

Knots: “And she just laid out Selena Frost!”

Sharper: “Selena Frost is out! Kandis taking her down. Coming to Japan for revenge!”

Polly rolls to the floor as Kandis stands in the ring, Demitra checking on Selena Frost. Kandis continues to pose before looking around the Japanese crowd. “Whore” plays throughout the arena as we cut to the stage where Xander Valentine watches, Artemis by his side. Xander keeps his eyes on the ring as the scene fades to black…
