of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We
then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before
cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity
at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Bell
Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from
the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before
spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few
moments.
Sharper: “We come to you from Montreal as the final stop
before Taking Hold of the Flame!”
The cameras circle around the ring for a bit longer
before cutting to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit at the
announce position.
Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with
Jonathan Knots and tonight, last stop before Taking Hold of the Flame. You
wonder if the chaos will continue.”
Knots: “Selena Frost is here. Xander Valentine is here
and Selena’s been closing the show every week since he diatribe about the
champion main eventing. Will the trend continue?”
Sharper: “Not only that, Marie Jones will face Gavin
Taylor for a shot at the Adrenaline Championship. Veronica Strader looks for
some revenge by facing Amelia Blythe tonight. All this and more!”
The lights around the arena begin to flicker as
"Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show
And the song continues. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as "All
Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the
ramp. Gavin hears this and starts to try and calm down the fans.
Sharper: “And we’ll kick things off tonight with Gavin
Taylor joining us. But his match against Marie Jones, they’re scheduled to face
for an Adrenaline Title shot at Taking Hold of the Flame, that’s scheduled for
later.”
Knots: “Gavin isn’t too happy with the reaction he’s
getting.”
Sharper: “And this is why. Let’s take a look at last
week.”
The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.
BREAKDOWN – LAST WEEK:
The replay begins after the Bree
Lancaster/Selena Frost match. Bree staggers up in the ring. The crowd then
roars as we see Gavin Taylor sliding into the ring. He gets up, extending his
arms. Bree doesn’t see him.
Taylor looks around and then
points at Bree. Bree turns around, sensing something off and Gavin steps up,
seemingly about to go for the Gavin Taylor Lariat, but he’s stopped and pulled
to the floor by Marie Jones who had also slipped to ringside. Gavin rolls over
and looks up at Marie. Marie just looks at him and then to the ring as Bree
Lancaster notices both. Marie and Bree share a glance before they both turn to
Gavin.
Knots: “Yeah, Gavin Taylor came
to the ring and while Selena Frost was being attacked at ringside, Bree
Lancaster was in the ring and Gavin seemed to be focused on her!”
Sharper: “I’ll be curious to hear
what Gavin says. I don’t get it. Bree Lancaster has been open about taking on
all comers.”
The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.
We return live to see Gavin Taylor in the ring,
microphone in his hand. He walks around, trying to get some of the booing to
stop. Gavin then steps back, bringing his hand to his head.
Gavin: “Oh dear…uh…look, there’s a bit of a
misunderstanding here. Don’t worry, Gavin Taylor isn’t getting back to his
coffee throwing ways! He’s still a good guy! I promise!”
Gavin looks around as the crowd gives a mixed reaction.
Gavin: “And well, I think I should explain myself and-“
The lights dim, only a few small ones on the stage as the
voice of Bree Lancaster whispers:
“I am the light of the truth
The one who sees right through”
A guitar riff plays as the small lights dance around the stage, then suddenly
stop, as one large beam shines down onto the figure of Bree herself.
“Spotlight”
The smaller lights begin again swirling as the music of “Spotlight” by Fozzy
kicks in and Bree makes her way down the ramp. Gavin looks at the ramp as Bree
Lancaster reaches the ring. She walks up the steel steps, Adrenaline
Championship around her waist. She then enters the ring and glares at Gavin
Taylor before heading across the ring. She then asks a microphone from ring
announcer Jason Phillips. Phillips hands her one and Bree turns back to Gavin.
Gavin: “Bree! Great to see you-“
Bree: “Gavin. I’ve just had to deal with one pain in my
ass. I don’t need to add more of them. I really want to know what this
misunderstanding is because the way it looks from me is that if Marie Jones
wasn’t there, I was going to eat a Gavin Taylor Lariat and I really don’t care
to do so!”
Gavin puts his hands up.
Gavin: “Okay, okay…I know. Simon Lyman’s become an
asshole. I’m not looking to do that. I have no desire to rifle through your
personal items or even know where you live.”
Bree looks at Gavin unimpressed.
Gavin: “But this is ALL a misunderstanding. Gavin Taylor
doesn’t need to jump from behind. He is someone who is coming off a big win.
He’s looking to get back and well, you know as well as I do, the Taking Hold of
the Flame, shots at Selena Frost, someone else who is an asshole, amirite?”
The crowd roars as Gavin plays to the crowd. He the nods.
Gavin: “They get it! You should-“
Bree: “She is, but that’s not the point.”
Gavin: “Well, but it is, Bree! Because see, I was aiming
at her!”
Gavin proudly states as Bree looks down, shaking her
head. The crowd cheers a bit.
Bree: “You were aiming for Selena…”
Gavin: “Yeah. Who wouldn’t!”
Bree: “Can I have someone put up the video again?”
Bree turns to the stage. There’s a pause and finally, the
replay that played during Gavin’s entrance replays.
BREAKDOWN – LAST WEEK:
The replay begins after the Bree
Lancaster/Selena Frost match. Bree staggers up in the ring. The crowd then
roars as we see Gavin Taylor sliding into the ring. He gets up, extending his
arms. Bree doesn’t see him. Taylor looks around and then points at Bree. Bree
turns around, sensing something off and Gavin steps up.
Bree: “Freeze it there.”
The replay stops. Bree turns to
Gavin.
Bree: “Where the hell is Selena?”
Bree looks at Gavin. Gavin turns
his head. He then starts to slowly point at the screen.
Bree: “She was on the floor. I
know because I happened to notice it.”
Gavin: “I was going to dive over
the top rope. Take out Scott too! Her and I have some history!”
Bree looks down and shakes her
head. Gavin smirks as the crowd roars.
Bree: “Cut the crap. I have made
one thing clear since I won this title. I settle things in the ring. You wanted
a shot, you just had to ask. But I thank Marie Jones from stopping you from
making as much of a fool of yourself as you are now.”
Gavin: “I’m serious! I was going
to go over the top, land on Scott, take out Selena, and celebrate my
achievements! I was coming off of my return to Australia. I feel great! I could
have-“
Bree: “Well then Gavin…remove all
doubt. You can win tonight and you have a shot against me anyways. But Gavin…I
don’t have it in me to see the best in you after dealing with Simon. I’ll be
cheering for Marie. And I’ll be watching tonight.”
The crowd roars as Bree turns and
exits the ring. “Spotlight” plays as Gavin Taylor shrugs and turns before
giving an “oops” pose, playing to the crowd.
Knots: “Gavin Taylor is the
All-Star and an amazing athlete-“
Sharper: “He was in the ring, and
focused on Bree Lancaster. He may have realized he’s made a mistake, but then
acknowledge it and apologize-“
Knots: “Apologize! This is
wrestling. You solve problems by bludgeoning each other!”
Sharper: “And Gavin Taylor, if he
wants an Adrenaline Title shot and that’s what this was all about, then he can
beat Marie tonight and he’ll have it.”
Knots: “Not a bad plan for him!”
Gavin Taylor remains in the ring
as Bree heads to the back.
The scene cuts backstage to see
Polly Pingotti sitting on one of the storage crates, leaning forward.
Polly: “It’s been no secret that
the last year has been a challenge for me. Sometimes fighting against others
forcing me into a place…other times fighting myself. But for once, I now see
clearly and know clearly what I can do.”
Polly looks up.
Polly: “I saw you squirming
Selena last week. I know so many of us back here want to see you fail at Taking
Hold of the Flame. Some of us also want to face you at Rise to Greatness. I
just want to burst through that glass ceiling and I can feel it. It’s so close.
SO close. And Taking Hold of the Flame, I am going to finally do just that. And
while people may talk of the favourites – Kandis, Scott, Syren – they should be
talking about people like me…on the cusp of being where we want to be. And at
Taking Hold of the Flame, I will take that opportunity!”
Polly looks at the camera as the
scene fades out.

Waylon Creek vs. Aisling
SCW Television Championship
The sound and image of a babbling brook overtake the PA
and screen. Shortly after, a man dressed in a suit flickers onto the screen,
standing in the middle of the creek, facing away from the camera. “Mountain
Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens comes over the system, and from hehind curtain
emerges a muscular figure in a skull mask, adorned by torn up flannels, being
led by a black lab on a leash. The dog leads the way as Waylon Creek follows
close behind, looking around the arena.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall
with a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television Championship.
First, on his way to the ring, the challenger, from Wailing Creek, Idaho, he is
Waylon Creek!”
He hands the dog off to a stage hand when he gets to the
ring and appears to say something to the dog. The dog sits calmly as Creek
enters the ring up the steps. He calmly goes to his corner without any posing.
Sharper: “Waylon Creek has quickly made waves in his time
in SCW. Only been here just over a month.”
Knots: “And he’s hoping to walk out with some gold. He’s
undefeated. He’s been violent. He’s threatened CHBK and Chris Lawler…”
A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed
by a few girls giggling. “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play and Aisling
steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing a playful hot pink
skirt with a matching hot pink tank top. The SCW Television Championship is
over her shoulder.
Phillips: “And his opponent, from Panguitch, Utah, she is
the SCW Television Champion, Aisling!”
She immediately waves at the crowd and does blow a few
kisses, as the fans do start to cheer. Aisling genuinely smiles before she
starts to slowly come down the ramp, stopping along the way to deliver a few
kisses on a few guys' cheeks who look to be around her age. Each of them
appreciate her gesture and cheer her on even louder. Aisling nods before she
goes and slides into the ring under the bottom rope. She lays on the mat for a
few seconds before she stands up and raises her arms into the air. She then hands
off the title to the official who raises it over his head. The SCW Television
Championship logo comes across the screen. The crowd continues to cheer her as
"C'est La Vie" begins to fade out. Aisling looks excited, ready, and
raring to go.
Sharper: “Aisling, the defending champion, looks ready to
go. And she’s not showing any fear at the moment.”
Knots: “SCW is really starting to draw some odd people.”
Sharper: “But they are gifted in the ring. And Aislnig
hoping she can out-agile the blunt force of Creek to keep her title run going.”
Aisling looks at Waylon as the bell sounds. Waylon steps
out and brings his hand up. Aisling watches him as Waylon steps forward and
goes for a hard right, but Aisling backs up and drops down to the floor. Waylon
kicks at the ropes and walks around the ring. (1) Aisling watches him and then
slides in. Waylon runs at her and Aisling rolls out of the ring again. (2)
Waylon gets up and calms down before backing up and Aisling slides in. Waylon
then suddenly turns, almost turning it back on and rushing Aisling. Aisling

get up and Aisling hits a dropkick. Waylon hits the mat.
Sharper: “And Aisling using her speed right now. A hard
dropkick and Creek back down.”
Knots: “And this is just different from Creek. Going
right for Aisling. Almost wanting to cut off any distance.”
Sharper: “Strategy maybe?”
Creek rolls over and gets up and Aisling hits another
dropkick. Creek falls through to the apron. Aisling looks at him and runs
across the ring. She bounces off and just throws herself at Creek. Creek flies
off and into the barricade. He rolls over as Aisling looks almost surprised.
(1) Aisling then drops down to the mat and rolls to the floor. (1) She turns
and grabs Creek. Creek shoves her back. (2) Aisling steadies herself and kicks
him in the ribs. She nails him with a hard right before grabbing him. (3) She
goes to take him over to the steel steps but Creek shoves her back. Aisling
goes hard shoulder first into the steel steps. (4) We then see Chris Dumont
watching from the floor by the stage. Aisling rolls over and leans on the steel
steps. Creek then walks over and lifts her boot and stomps Aisling in the back
of the head, sandwiching her head into the steel steps. The crowd ohs. (5)
Sharper: “Good lord. That stomp. Right into the steel
steps.”
Knots: “Reverberating in more ways than one.”
Sharper: “And Dumont, who has been helping Aisling as of
late, watching, with great concern.”
Knots: “Don’t add another fight, Chris!”
Aisling holds her head in pain. (6) Creek grabs her and
lifts her up before rolling her into the ring. Creek slides in after. Aisling
starts to get up and Creek plants her with a hard right. Aisling goes down.
Creek then jumps up and hits an elbow drop. The crowd ohs. He goes for the

rolls over and gets up as Aisling rolls over and Creek runs into the ropes,
bouncing off and driving a double axe handle smash into the chest of Aisling.
Creek then turns and moves to the corner and pulls himself up to the middle
turnbuckle. He looks around and dives off with a second rope knee drop, but
Aisling rolls out of the way. The crowd cheers a bit. Creek rolls over,
wincing. He gets up and Aisling hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

Waylon Creek kicks out.
Sharper: “Aisling getting a big move off. That
hurricanrana driving Waylon Creek into the mat.”
Knots: “Only gets two, but it also stops the onslaught.”
Aisling gets up and Creek stirs and turns to her and
Aisling hits a leg sweep. She then jumps to the middle rope and dives back with
a corkscrew moonsault onto Creek. She turns and hooks the leg.

Creek calmly grabs the bottom rope. Aisling rolls off and
Creek rolls to the apron. Aisling then runs at him and Creek headbutts her. She
staggers back and Creek steps into the ring before grabbing her and hoisting
her up into a pumphandle flatliner into the top rope.
Sharper: “All the agility the world can’t stop a headbutt
and that vicious hot shot.”
Knots: “Aisling was putting something together and Creek
used the ropes to his advantage.”
Creek hooks the leg.

Aisling kicks out. She turns and Creek looks back. He

up and hits the leg drop scoop slam.”
Knots: “Aisling has an answer only for Creek to find a
new question!”
Sharper: “Aisling aggressive, while Creek just calm and
always thinking.”
Creek rolls over and gets up. He then loos up and then
across at Aisling as Aisling rolls over, holding her head and neck. She starts
to pull herself up and Creek extends forward and locks in the Canary. Aisling
struggles a bit and grabs at the arm of Creek, but Creek pushes her forward and

The bell sounds and Creek immediately lets go. The crowd
boos a bit as Dumont heads over to the ramp and climbs up onto it. He starts to
head to the ring as Creek is handed the TV Title.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and NEW SCW
Television Champion, Waylon Creek!”
Sharper: “Waylon Creek with the
Canary and the win, a new TV Champion.”
Knots: “And Aisling had no chance
when it was locked in. Too big. Too strong. Aisling tried to fight.”
Sharper “And Creek broke the hold
the moment the bell sounded. Dumont is down and concerned about Aisling.”
Dumont runs down and slides into
the ring. Creek looks at him before turning away and taking the Television
Championship. He calmly exits the ring and walks around the ring. Dumont crawls
over to Aisling, checking on her as the official does too. Aisling sits up,
coughing, holding her throat. Creek slowly walks around the ring, glancing in
the ring before the crowd roars as we see Brittany Lohan, alone, running down
to the ring. Dumont keeps checking on Aisling as Lohan slides in. The crowd
tries to warn Dumont, but he’s focused on Aisling as Creek ignores the entire
situation. He retrieves his dog and starts to head to the back as Lohan then
lunges and drills Dumont in the side with the For Your Eyes Only. He goes down
in a heap as Lohan stands over him.
Sharper: “Lohan! From behind! For
Your Eyes Only!”
Knots: “Jesus! Just took Dumont’s
head off!”
Aisling looks up as Lohan steps
over Dumont.
Lohan: “How’s that feel!”
Lohan backs up as Aisling lunges
and nails her with a shot before Lohan just shoves her down. Aisling rolls over
before turning and going to check on Dumont. Lohan exits the ring and drops
down. She starts to head to the back.
Backstage, Destiny Page stands
with Chris Lawler in the SCW interview area.
Page: “Welcome backstage. Destiny
Page here and I’m with Chris Lawler. Chris, you just saw Waylon Creek in
action. New Television Champion. I figure I would get your response given his
threats to you last week.”
Lawler: “He’s a fine competitor
and Aisling is a tough opponent. Winning a title in SCW is hard enough and
Waylon Creek did it. Fairly. I can’t really-“
A phone can be heard ringing.
Lawler looks around before then reaching down and pulling out his phone from
his pocket. He quickly stops it.
Lawler: “Sorry about that. Not
exactly professional. Just…where was I?”
Page: “Talking about Waylon Creek
and his victory.”
Lawler: “Well, it was impressive.
Congratulations to hi-“
The phone rings again. Lawler
sighs and then pulls out the phone and this time silences it.
Page: “If you need to take it-“
Lawler: “No, no…just,
congratulations to Waylon Creek. I know he said I wouldn’t want to meet him in
the ring, but maybe we’ll clash and that title is on the line. We’ll see. Right
now, focusing on Taking Hold of the Flame. And if you don’t mind?”
Page: “Of course.
Lawler: “Thanks.”
Lawler heads off camera.
Page: “Chris Lawler offering his
congratulations to Waylon Creek, the new Television Champion. Breakdown returns
after this!”
The scene slowly fades out.

stupid mask. Let’s just try and get this somewhere-“
Lexy grabs Autumn and pulls her
aside.
Autumn: “What are you talking
about? Fall St. Patrick is missing…okay…ixnay on the ask-may…That’s right,
right?”
Ravyn glances over as Lexy looks
at her.
Lexy: “She’s not correcting me.
She must. It’s like her tick and…”
Autumn: “What are you talking
about, Lexy. If this is how I’m going to get a title shot. You had me come back
to go for the Adrenaline Title. It’s been…well…interesting. But even though
CHBK knows this is all bull, and everyone does, he’s almost playing with you.
Just like our wedding and-“
Lexy: “Hey! We love each other,
wife!”
Lexy hugs her and smiles.
Lexy: “And now that you’re here,
you can…uh…help find her. Call her or something…yeah…”
Autumn: “Call her-“
Lexy: “Yes! Call her! Call her
under the couch cushions, okay!”
Ravyn and Syren leave the room as
Autumn glances at them. Syren looks at her a bit concerned as Autumn shakes her
head as Lexy starts to pull the couch cushions off as the scene cuts away.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns as we see Syren
and Ravyn talking in one of the hallways.
Syren: “Lexy means well-“
Ravyn: “She may. But you need to
focus. Zoe – this is it. This is the fast-track.”
Syren: “Yeah, but-“
Ravyn: “Look, you win and you get
everyone thinking about it. There are thirty-nine others. Including me. You’re
practically beating ten people here.”
Syren: “Well, that’s an
interesting logic.”
Ravyn: “I can come up with many,
many reasons why you need to focus on one thing. Winning Taking Hold of the
Flame. If you lose, then fine, we keep going. We keep working on getting those
ten wins. But let’s also be clear…the reason you don’t have those ten wins
isn’t because of you.”
Syren: “Ravyn-“
Ravyn: “We’ve all been dropping
the ball. And now it’s time for us to get it done. No games. No questionable
tactics. This one is simple – win Taking Hold of the Flame. Do something you’ve
not yet done. And then we see where things fall. I’m just making sure people
understand that if they don’t fall a certain way, they’re the ones who look
like fools.”
Syren says nothing.
Ravyn: “That’s why I had you say
what you did a few weeks ago. That’s why I came out last week. We’re getting
Syren back!”
The crowd cheers hearing this
before we cut to the ringside area.
Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor giving
Syren a pep talk.”
Knots: “It’s weird hearing Ravyn
speak like that with no real devious plan.”
Sharper: “There is one, but it’s
simple precedent.”
Knots: “Still weird!”
Sharper: “Meanwhile, we’re going
to hear from many in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal and one
individual who we will hear from is currently working to get back to the ring.
She suffered a concussion but is now back. Amy Chastaine had this to say.”
The Breakdown logo comes up on
the screen.
A black and white video begins to play, starting with Amy Chastaine leaping off
the top corner and planting an opponent with a BlackOut. It cuts to a training
ring, where clips of Amy doing various drills play as she speaks in voiceover…
“Supreme Championship Wrestling is very familiar with me now. When I came here
in twenty-fifteen, not so much. I was a ring veteran, but new to a large part
of the fanbase. But there are those who have followed me from the beginning,
and they know…”
The video cuts to a much younger Amy Chastaine, in a smaller ring and smaller
crowd. She swings a steel chair and connects with the skull of a male opponent.
He drops, then we cut to Amy holding up a championship belt.
“They know that I didn’t start my career as the mostly technical worker you all
know and love. No. They know… that I began in the trenches….”
We now cut to a clip of Amy Chastaine in a steel cage match, against a brunette
female opponent. The woman slams Amy against the cage, then cuts to Amy doing
the same to the woman. The video cuts to the inside of another cage, a round
one like a Chamber.
“I fought in those trenches and cages for years. Sometimes for vengeance…”
We see Amy wielding a steel pipe, slamming it over and over again into a man’s
head, blood flying from the pipe with each swing.
“Other times for survival.”
A shot of Amy standing high atop a Hell In A Cell cage, as she superkicks a
male opponent off the top, sending him crashing into a table on the floor. We
cut to Amy still on top of that cage, pinning a male opponent, then standing
tall holding a championship belt, Notably, the front of her gear top is singed
at the waist hem.
“For the SCW Faithful who have not seen these images, I realize they may
surprise and even shock you. But this is my history. This is part of my legacy.
This… is how the knee injury you’re familiar with came to be…”
We cut back the round Chamber cage, where Amy is perched on top of a pod,
holding a chair. She leaps, putting the chair under her knees as she falls
perfectly on top of her target, dropping the man unconscious. As she rolls off,
she immediately grabs at her left knee.
“When I came to SCW, I was looking for a different pace. A different style. A
different challenge. This place gave me that.”
Short clips of Amy in SCW rings exchanging moves with various SCW stars play in
quick succession; Regan Street, Syren, James Evans, Selena Frost, Blake Mason,
Vixen Cain, hitting a tag move alongside Kennedy Street.
“I’ve had issues, both in ring and out.”
A clip of Amy walking slowly up a ramp, followed by a clip of Amy being carried
from the ring by her husband, her hand over her knee as Bree Lancaster watches
from the ring. Phrases from news articles flash by: ‘Alcoholism…. Recurring
injury… rehab… recovery.’
“Most recently, another stay in a rehabilitation facility, while I worked on
everything from my mental health to my family relationships. I wanted my return
to the ring to be something special.”
Shots of Amy from SCW in the last year go by, in the ring with Kirsten Scott,
Cassie Wolfe, Simon Lyman, standing side by side with Jaina Lancaster.
“Instead, I did the one thing I never wanted to do with my legacy… make a
mockery of it.”
Several clips of Amy being pinned go by.
“I let outside influences affect me inside the ring. Try as I might, I couldn’t
get past the hump. The fear. And that was not limited to the SCW ring.”
A clip SCW has seen before, from VWA, plays, showing Amy being thrown into a
corner by a large male opponent. We cut to that man holding Amy upside down,
and then a slow motion shot of him dropping her with a piledriver. It repeats
at full speed.
“In a match in VWA, I was injured. Concussed.”
The clip shows VWA doctors attending to Amy in the ring, then fades out to
black. A second later, the video fades back in, now in color, showing Amy
Chastaine seated on the top turnbuckle of a ring inside her training academy.
She speaks from here.
“It took nearly losing everything important to me over the last few months… my
family, my career, even my health… to realize that for a long time now, I’ve
been doing myself a disservice. I’ve been cautious, methodical, grounded, since
I came out of retirement. I’ve had a few flashy moments, moreso in the other
place, but for the most part? I’ve held back. And in doing so, I’ve held myself
back. I’ve tried to be something that for the majority of my career… I was
not.”
“I doubt he’ll see this but just in case, I should say thank you to VWA’s
Ghalleon, for dropping me on my head. He’d laugh, or say he did it to make a
statement, or even claim he failed because I’m still walking. But he did me a
favor. He knocked loose whatever it was in my head that made me believe I had
to hold back. Work differently. Be someone I’m not. Instead of making me go
away, he’s made sure I’m coming back with some of my old tricks in my back
pocket. What that means for him and VWA doesn’t matter to SCW, but for all of
you?”
“It means I’ll be at Taking Hold of the Flame. I’ll be entering the battle
royal. And I plan on nothing less than being the last person standing. No
matter what it takes… and I mean no matter what … it takes for me to get
that done.”
See you in London.”
Amy hops down from the ropes and flips her hair back out of her face, the stoic
look turning into a smile as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.
Autumn Valentine is shown in the
LexyCorp locker room by the door.
Autumn: “Come on, Lexy. Let’s
just go to the ring-“
Lexy Chapel runs over and stops
her.
Lexy: “Without Fall?!”
Autumn: “I’m Fall. Just without
the hood and-“
Lexy: “Look, Fall’s still
technically undefeated. I’ve been protecting this. It’s how I’m going to get
you your title shot. I haven’t forgotten with Syren’s goals and Ravyn taking
over that and I need to watch her because she’s an evil little evil thing and…there’s
a lot going on. But I never forget to bring that mask. It’s the nibble my dad
is giving us, giving you! Okay! And-“
Autumn: “Okay, relax….just calm-“
Lexy: “I can’t. I’ve even gone
out there to try and keep this going while you recovered from that injury
and…now there’s no mask. So I can’t stop this. It’s going to be a forfeit and
it’s going to be awful and…Those damn Russians did this! Those bastards!”
Autumn: “We’ll get revenge or
whatever….just…”
Lexy: “Damn it.”
Lexy then looks around.
Lexy: “Where are Ravyn and
Syren?”
Autumn: “They left a bit ago.
Probably to focus-“
Lexy: “Oh god…the brainwashing!”
Lexy storms out of the locker
room as Autumn looks up and then turns and follows Lexy.
Sharper: “Fall St. Patrick is
supposed to be in action next, against Deanna Frost!”
Knots: “Is that going to happen?”
Sharper: “I…I don’t know!”
The scene fades out.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns as we see Alex “CHBK”
Desoubrais talking to a crew member backstage. We then hear someone clearing
their voice. CHBK turns and we see a seemingly familiar face extending his arm.
CHBK: “Uh…yes?’
Knox: “Mike Knox, sir. Pleasure
to have been signed. I just wanted to introduce myself.”
CHBK is a bit stunned but shakes
his hand.
CHBK: “Uh, great to have you.”
Knox: “When I got the call, I was
surprised. But looking forward to debuting at Taking Hold of the Flame.”
CHBK: “Well, it’s a big night.
Good luck. I look forward to seeing what you can do.”
Knox: “Thanks, boss.”
Knox nods and walks off. CHBK
watches him leave before pulling out his phone and quickly scrolling through
something and calling someone. He waits a moment.
CHBK: “Yes…Frank. Uh…you watching
the show?”
CHBK waits for the response.
CHBK: “I realize I’m a bit out of
touch in some ways with the talent, but is that who we meant to sign? I mean
he-”
CHBK sighs as Mack responds.
CHBK: “So I don’t need to worry?”
CHBK pauses again.
CHBK: “I better not. We’re looking
forward to some of the new signings and that guy doesn’t look like he can move
the needle. Double-check.”
CHBK hangs up and looks off where
Mike Knox headed off before sighing again.
Deanna Frost vs. Fall St. Patrick
The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly
Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall
leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the
back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to
the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The
'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin
on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her
feet. The SCW United States Championship is over her shoulder
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty
minute time limit. First, from Manhattan, New York, the SCW United States
Champion, she is Deanna Frost!"
Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with
one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the
'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her
way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches
the ring. Sliding under the ring, the redhead jumps to her feet, making
her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd.
She does the same to the other sides of the ring!
On the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to
normal. She places the title in the corner.
Sharper: “Deanna Frost going to be in action just a bit
before Taking Hold of the Flame. Can she focus?”
Knots: “Can anyone focus when going against anyone in
LexyCorp?”
Sharper: “True, but that’s not what I’m talking about
Jon. Jessica Winters escaping her psychological treatment. The Enigma still not
present tonight too.”
Deanna stretches out an d waits as the crowd buzzes.
Suddenly, the lights flicker and this gets Deanna’s attention. She looks
around. She then steps forward before the lights go completely out for a few
seconds before coming back on. Deanna looks around. The official does too.
Sharper: “What is going on?”
Knots: “The Enigma may be here. Remember what we just
said…with Jessica Winters…”
Sharper: “I doubt this is a LexyCorp plan or anything.
Lexy is too addled right now.”
A woman’s voice can be heard as the video screens display
the words she's saying in unison.
"Lexy Chapel Proudly Presents"
“FALL ST. PATRICK!”
Deanna turns to the entrance way before the lights go out again and the music
cuts out only to have a droning hum in the background. The crowd buzzes before
the lights again turn on again. We cut to see some black mist billowing under
the ring. Deanna Frost at first doesn’t notice this, but fans start to point at
the ringside area, getting Deanna’s attention. She turns and heads over to the
ropes and then looks over and drops down to the floor. She quickly grabs the
ring skirt and lifts it up and looks underneath. The cameras cut to show what
is under only to show typical odds and ends under the ring. Deanna keeps the
skirt up before rolling into the ring. She then gets up and looks around before
turning and going to Jason Phillips, demanding a microphone. Phillips obliges
and Deanna turns back.
Deanna: “Enigma! Come on out! If you’re here. Just come
on out and look at me face to face!”
Deanna looks around as the droning music continues. A few
moments pass again as the crowd buzzes only for the droning to stop. A woman’s
voice can be heard as the video screens display the words she's saying in
unison.
"Lexy Chapel Proudly Presents"
“FALL ST. PATRICK!”
Then a terribly remixed version of “Miss Nothing” by the Pretty Reckless plays
as the cameras cut to the stage. Deanna turns to the stage too. A few moments
pass before the droning returns in the background. We then see what appears to
be Fall St. Patrick walking out from the back, wearing the mask and her gear.
Deanna looks at the entrance way before turning around. Just then, we see the
billowing black smoke start to grow from under the ring. Deanna turns and looks
over to the ropes and looks around before then starting to scan the area. As
this happens though, Fall St. Patrick runs down to the ring. She slides in and
the camera gets a good shot as Fall gets up, eyes wide.
Sharper: “That’s not Autumn or Lexy! That’s Jessica
Winters!”
Knots: “She took the mask?!”
Sharper: “She is a similar body type to Autumn, but
this…Deanna! Turn around!”
Knots: “And we’re not alone! The black smoke is drawing
other people out. Raab!”
Konrad Raab, Dakon Theron, and Ludvig Eriksson run down
from the back. Raab slides into the ring as Fall gets up and looks at Deanna.
Deanna turns around only for Raab to throw Fall down. Fall rolls over as Deanna
turns and looks at Raab. Raab storms across the ring and looks at the ropes
before turning to Deanna.
Raab: “Where is he?!”
Theron and Eirksson surround the ring, looking under the
ring as much as they can, trying to find the source of the black mist. Deanna
turns and just then, Jessica Winters, dressed as Fall St. Patrick, tackles
Deanna down. The crowd ohs. Deanna looks up as Jessica keeps going for the eyes
of Deanna. Deanna fights her off before realizing who it is. She keeps trying
to keep her off as Kimberly Williams runs out from the back. The crowd erupts
in cheers as she runs down to the ring and slides into the ring. Raab turns as
Deanna tries to grab the arms of Jessica. Jessica keeps frantically clawing at
the eyes, yelling as she does and Kim grabs her and pulls her off. Jessica
rolls through and gets up where we notice her eyes are completely black. She
steps up and Konrad Raab just drills her with a European uppercut. Jessica
falls back, landing awkwardly. The crowd ohs. Kim looks at Raab before turning
to Jessica. Deanna turns and crawls over to Jessica to check on her.
Sharper: “Oh God…Raab just took out Jessica Winters. I
don’t even know if he put it together.”
Knots: “Deanna damn sure did. And did you see her eyes?”
Sharper: “Darkness…”
Raab then grabs Deanna and pulls her up before Deanna
shoves him back. Kim watches as Raab steps up and Theron and Eriksson roll into
the ring. Deanna points to Jessica Winters as Raab then grabs at her and Deanna
forearms him.
Enigma: “Foolish fighters…have you not heard everything I
have said.”
Raab and Deanna stop and look around.
Enigma: “So the war fields are opening for me. The
Underground too.”
Kim nods smiling.
Enigma: “You know I am not alone. And I am controlling
every move you all make.”
Enigma’s voice booms as Kim rolls her eyes as Raab yells
at the ceiling.
Raab: “Where the hell are you?”
Enigma: “Deanna…say hello to your friend.”
Deanna looks down at Jessica, trying to control her
reaction.
Enigma: “But I will be at Taking Hold of the Flame…I am
just beginning to show the power I hold.”
The droning is then heard again getting louder and louder
and louder. Deanna drops down to check on Jessica before the droning stops
suddenly. The crowd roars as the scene slowly fades out.

Breakdown returns as we see Deanna
Frost walking out of the trainer’s room as Selena Frost storms over to her. The
crowd boos.
Selena: “Let me in to see her-“
Deanna: “Selena…no…I-“
Selena: “She hit you. She tried
to claw your eyes out!”
Deanna: “And something is wrong
with her!”
Selena: “I can find that out.”
Deanna: “She’s currently under
guard and being checked out. She-“
Selena keeps looking at the door.
Deanna moves in her way.
Deanna: “Let me deal with this.”
Selena: “When we saw her in the
hospital, I was clear.”
Deanna: “And that’s not Jessica…at
least right now. And I’m going to deal with it my way…going to the source.”
Deanna then turns, pauses, before
walking off. Selena moves to the door before glancing to where Deanna was
before stepping back and taking a deep breath and then walking in the opposite
direction.
Amelia Blythe vs. Veronica
Strader
Phillips: “The following match is scheduled for one fall.
Introducing first!”
The jumbo screen goes blank and the lights drop in the arena. “Cult of
Personality” opening riff rips through the arena. The lights begin to flicker
dark purple, pink and silver to the beat and the crucifix symbol of Veronica
Strader appears on the jumbo screen followed by the outline of a Scorpion in
her signature purple.
Phillips: “Making their way to the ring…”
Look in my eyes
What do you see?
The cult of personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
I've been everything you want to be
Oh, I'm the cult of personality”
The name Veronica Strader in large font starts to flash in silver and purple,
with shots of her holding up the OCW TransAtlantic title getting a cheer
reaction from the crowd . A spotlight hits the entrance way as Veronica steps
out on stage. She walks to both sides of the top, amping the crowd up!
Phillips: “Weighing in at One Hundred and Fifty-Five pounds…”
Like Mussolini and Kennedy
I'm the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality
Neon lights, a Nobel prize
When a mirror speaks, the reflection lies
You won't have to follow me
Only you can set me free
Hands on her hips, her hair slicked back with water, sneer across her lips. She
starts to strut down to the ring, in brand new ring of black pants, with purple
scorpions on the outer parts of her hips, and a black leather crop top with the
crisscrossed lace across her cleavage up to her neck underneath a black leather
jacket with no sleeves and a scorpion with her crucifix on the back of it. ~
Phillips: “Hailing from Houston, Texas by way of London, Ontario Canada…”
The Baba Jaga Veronica Strader stares at the ring.
Like Joseph Stalin and Gandhi
I'm the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality
Neon lights, a Nobel prize
When a leader speaks, that leader dies
You won't have to follow me
Only you can set you free
The Scorpion walks up the steel steps and wipes her boots on the apron before
stepping through the second and top rope like a normal human being.
You gave me fortune, you gave me fame
You gave me power in your god's name
I'm every person you need to be
Oh, I'm the cult of personality
Phillips: “She is the Baba Jaga of Professional Wrestling…”
Strader stands centre of the ring.
I am the cult of, I am the cult of
I am the cult of, I am the cult of
I am the cult of, I am the cult of
I am the cult of, I am the cult of personality
Phillips: “VERONICA STRADERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
She sneers as she watches the ramp for her opponent.“Victorious” by Skillet
begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Blythe makes her way
onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in
front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly
down towards the ring. After a moment of this, La Pequeña Luz skips out from
behind Amelia and stands beside her, giving her a pep talk before planting a
quick kiss on her cheek which brings a smile to Amelia’s face.
Phillips: “And her opponent, weighing in at 120 pounds, from Oxford, England—
she is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions… AMELIA BLYTHE!”
The two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia’s look
growing more determined and battle-ready as Luz continues her pep talk. Once
they reach ringside, Amelia pulls Luz into a brief but passionate kiss before
letting her go as she climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet
before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia
gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment
to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and mask and handing them off to
Luz on the outside, Luz taking the opportunity to give some last minute advice
and encouragement.
Sharper: “Last week, Luz defeated Cara Strader, one half of the Cowgirls from
Hell. This week the other two partners of their respective teams clash.”
Knots: “A sneak peek at the big eight-man tag team match at the Taking Hold of
the Flame event.”
Sharper: “We’re going to see the Light in the Darkness team with Twisted and
Sadistic while Cowgirls from Hell will be working with Dangerous Mind. A lot of
combustibility in that match.”
Knots: “Tonight, we’ll see if Veronica Strader can avenger her partner’s loss
last week and gain some momentum for next week’s pay-per-view match.”
The bell rings. Immediately the two women meet in the center of the ring and
lock up. The bigger Veronica bullrushes Amelia into the corner. She pushes up
on the jaw and the referee starts to count up and Veronica breaks. The two
competitors start to circle again and once more they lock up. This time Amelia
manages to get Veronica into a side headlock. Veronica steps back into the
ropes and forces Amelia to hit the ropes on the other side. Veronica lowers her
shoulder for a back body drop, but Amelia rolls over her back. She keeps
running into the ropes. On the rebound, she charges at Veronica but Veronica
catches her with a knee to the gut. Amelia flips over onto the canvas, Veronica
immediately follows up with an arm bar.
Sharper: “Both Blythe and Strader are feelings each other out in the opening
moments of this contest.”
Knots: “Veronica caught Amelia with that knee and now has her grounded.”
Sharper: “Blythe rolls up Strader! Shoulders on the mat!”
1…
Knots: “Veronica is forced to break the hold!”
Both competitors find their feet. Veronica swings at Amelia, but Amelia ducks.
Veronica swipes again at Amelia. Again, Amelia ducks. She fires chop after chop
into the chest of Veronica. Veronica stumbles back from the blows, but she
steps forward, returning fire with a hard right. There’s another hard right. A
toe kick to the midsection, Veronica backpedals into the ropes and there’s a
knee to the side of the face that leads to Amelia falling into the ropes.
Veronica backs up and goes charging at Amelia. Amerlia dumps her over the top
rope. Veronica lands onto the apron. Amelia leaps up and catches Veronica with
a high kick to the face. Veronica is knocked off the apron but lands onto her
feet. Amelia runs from one side of the ring to the next, she goes for a
baseball slide; however, Veronica catches her legs and yanks her out onto the
outside. Amerlia swings her elbow around, but Veronica ducks, buries her
shoulder and then delivers a spinebuster onto the floor.
Sharper: “Veronica is getting the upper hand of Amelia Blythe. Very impressive
showing so far! That spinebuster on the outside made me wince.”
Knots: “That’s only a thin mat that separated the spine from the cement below.”
Sharper: “Luz is trying to rally Blythe back into this match.”
The referee starts to count them out. (1) Veronica takes a hold of Amelia’s
head and drags her to her feet. She takes the head and slams Amelia’s head
against the ring post. (2) She lowers her shoulder and rams Blythe’s back into
the apron. (3) She takes a hold of the head and smashes the back of the head
against the apron. (4) She then leads Amelia over to the ring steps; however,
Amelia extends her leg to stop the attack. She swings her elbow back into
Veronica’s face. (5) Amelia takes the offensive now, she bashes Veronica’s face
against the ring apron. (6) She whips Veronica into the ring post, with
Veronica colliding shoulder first. (7) Afterwards, Amelia rolls Veronica into
the ring. Veronica fights to her feet, standing in the middle of the ring.
Amelia pops up behind her, bridging german suplex!
Sharper: “The brawl on the outside has returned into the ring. German Suplex in
the middle of the ring. Amelia Blythe with the bridge!”
1…
2…
Sharper: “Veronica Stradet shoots the shoulder up.”
Knots: “They really got into it on the outside. Using the outside of the ring
as a weapon. You see that Veronica Strader is a brawler, but Amelia is holding
her own.”
Sharper: “Amelia Blythe is a student of the game. She knows how to adapt.”
Amelia Blythe rolls down to the ankle of Veronica. She locks in the ankle lock.
Veronica finds herself trapped in the center of the ring. Veronica starts to
inch towards the ropes, not giving into the pain. Amelia pulls her back into
the center of the ring and drops down with the grapevine. Still, Veronica
fights through the pain and crawls slowly to the bottom rope. She finally grabs
onto the bottom rope and the referee calls for the break. Amelia releases the
hold and stand. She starts to stalk Veronica. Veronica struggles to her feet.
She rubs her ankle in pain. Amelia rushes her, but walks right into the A Like
Supreme! Amelia drops to the canvas. Veronica crawls to make the cover!
Sharper: “Amelia got caught with the super kick out of nowhere! Veronica hooks
the leg!”
1…
2…
Sharper: “Kickout! Amelia walked right into that superkick!”
Knots: “Both women are putting it all on display in this match.”
Sharper: “And to think that they will have to do this all over again at the
Taking Hold of the Flame.”
Luz slaps the canvas, trying to rally Amelia. Amelia crawls to the ropes. She
uses them to help her up. Veronica approaches her but Amelia drills her with a
right. Veronica answers with right of her own. The two starts to trade blows to
the excitement of the crowd. Veronica stops the exchange with a knee to the
midsection. She hammers Amelia on the upper hand with a double ax handle.
Amelia stumbles aways. She turns to locate Veronica, but Veronica scoops her
up! Strader-Style!
Sharper: “An exploder suplex drops Amelia Blythe in the middle of the ring.
Veronica Strader has taken control of this match! Veronica hooks the leg
again!”
1…
2…
Sharper: “Back and forth match; however, Veronica has Amelia on her heels.
Think of how big it would be for her to score a pin over half the SCW World Tag
Team Champions.”
Knots:”I think it will add to the case of the Cowgirls from Hell earning
themselves a title shot down the road.”
Sharper: “You have to think that’s on Veronica’s mind.”
Veronica mounts Amelia. She sends a rain of hammer fists down onto Amelia
before standing up. Amelia rolls over to the ropes where Luz is standing. Luz
shouts encouragement. That propels Amelia to use the ropes to stand to her
feet. Veronica goes to swarm her but Amelia knocks her back with an european
uppercut. There’s another uppercut. A third to knock Veronica back to the
center of the ring. Veronica swings, punches misses, Amelia catches the arm and
pivots. She slips the other arm. Dragon Suplex. She arches backwards with the
bridge.
Sharper: “Dragon suplex! The bridge!”
1…
2…
Sharper: “No! Veronica explodes out of the bridge.”
Knots: “Amelia being encouraged by Luz. The Light in the Darkness has proven to
be one solid unit and I think just having Luz in her corner is giving Amelia a
boost.”
Sharper: “Veronica Strader needs to get back on track.”
Amelia takes a hold of Veronica’s hand. She begins to inflict torture through
joint manipulation. Veronica yells out in pain; however, she doesn’t sit around
and takes Amelia’s punishment. She thrusts her head forward for a headbutt. She
hits Amelia with another. Amelia lets go of Veronica’s hand and stumbles to her
feet. Veronica stands. Amelia runs forward. Veronica goes for the clothesline
but Amelia ducks. Veronica spins around. Shoulder to the gut. Northern Lights
Suplex attempt! Veronica blocks the attempt, and delivers a DDT onto Amelia in
the center of the ring. Veronica throws her arm across Amelia.
Sharper: “Northern Lights suplex— no DDT counter by Veronica Strader! The
cover!”

2…
Sharper: “Amelia gets the shoulder up! Good counter by Veronica; however, this
match continues.”
Knots: “You have to wonder what it is going to take for one of these women to
get the win. It’s been back and forth all match.”
Veronica rolls over as Amelia starts to stir. She turns
and Veronica grabs her and runs her into the ropes and goes for an Okana roll.
She pulls Amelia back, but Amelia rolls through.

Veronica kicks out just after three as Amelia falls
forward and turns to her. Veronica looks at her as Amelia’s music plays and the
bell sounds.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Amelia
Blythe!”
Sharper: “And Blythe just gets it, by the skin of her
teeth!”
Knots: “Veronica a bit surprised, but look at that look.”
Sharper: “Almost one of respect between them.”
Amelia and Veronica lock eyes and Veronica just nods
before rolling over and out of the ring. She smacks the apron, showing her frustration
before she walks around. Amelia gets up, Luz joining her, and raising her arm.
The crowd cheers.

Backstage, Kandis is shown pacing
in one of the hallways. She turns to the camera.
Kandis: “Tick tock, Selena. Oh
yeah, I’m waiting for this one. And the best part…we know we’re living rent
free in each other’s heads. I won’t be scared to admit it. I want to destroy
you Selena and even those around you are realizing you bring them down. But
that’s fine…because two things need to work out for me to be happy. I need to
win Taking Hold of the Flame again…and oh I’m going to do everything I can to try
and I need you to be World Champion.”
Kandis smirks and turns.
Kandis: “Or do I?”
Kandis looks at the camera.
Kandis: “Maybe I roll the dice.
Maybe I see what it’s like to main event back to back Rise to Greatnesses, but
this time with Xander Valentine! He and I have some unfinished business too.
Maybe I just want my World Championship back. And maybe I’m willing to consider
all options. Shamelessly so! But Selena, you’re done dictating the shots. Because
I am going to do everything I can to make June 2 a very good night for me. And
a good night for everyone in SCW one way or another!”
Kandis heads off camera as the
scene cuts to the ring.
Eavan “Sykobitty” Maloney vs.
Sean Michael Prime
As the arena lights dim, a hushed anticipation falls over
the crowd. The haunting notes of Metallica's "Turn the Page" resonate
through the speakers, setting the stage for the arrival of Sean Michael Prime.
Slowly emerging from the shadows. Sean stands at the top of the ramp with a
determined gaze. He walks with purpose down the entrance ramp, his worn
silhouette illuminated by a lone spotlight.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute
time limit. First, making his way to the ring, from Salem, Massachusetts, Sean
Michael Prime!”
With every step, SMP absorbs the energy of the arena, his long hair flowing in
rhythm with the haunting melody. As the chorus kicks in, the crowd begins to
stir, caught between the raw emotion of the song and the enigmatic presence of
Sean as he slowly approaches the ring. Sean climbs into the ring, casting a
stoic gaze across the audience. The metallic strains of "Turn the
Page" amplify the intensity of the moment. Sean starts pacing around the
ring awaiting for the start of the match.
Sharper: “Sean Michael Prime, he’s trying.”
Knots: “I don’t know if it s resiliency, tenacity, or
insanity.”
Sharper: “Still searching for his first win. He’s come
close. He’s had opponents down. He’s made mistakes though and he’s often let
himself turn away from moments, distracted by something. He’s now letting his
emotions get to him too.”
A singular voice and piano fills the arena. On the tron,
dozens of hands holding candles can be seen.
Cover my ears and close my eyes
Just long enough to stop the noise
Go and take everything and throw it away
But I will use my voice
As ‘Use My Voice’ really kicks in with the rest of the band, a band of
spotlights move to a point at the entry. Eavan Maloney walks out and looks up
at the tron as the second verse plays.
Phillips: “His opponent, from New Egypt, New Jersey, she
is Eavan ‘Sykobitty’ Maloney!”
Drown every truth in an ocean of lies
Label me bitch because I dare to draw my own line
Burn every bridge and build a wall in my way
But I will use my voice
As the song goes to chorus, on the tron stands all of Eavan's 'girls' from the
Krigarakademin singing along to the song, as American Murder Log plays the
tune. Eavan turns around and watches, blowing a kiss to the tron before walking
to the ring. As she claps hands with fans who engage, she steps through the
ropes and continues to watch the tron with a smile on her face like a proud
mother.
Sharper: “Eavan Maloney was successful in her debut
against Religious Wright. She’ll be one of the forty in the Taking Hold of the
Flame battle royal. And she’s hoping to take advantage of Prime’s situation.”
Knots: “Just keep Barbie away from her. That damn bat.”
Sharper: “You see that interaction between her and Kim
Williams last week?”
Knots: “Yeah. Keep them apart!”
The bell sounds. Prime steps up and Eavan Maloney runs
across the ring at Prime. Prime dodges as Eavan stops at the corner. She turns
around and runs at Prime and nails him with a series of hard right hands to the
jaw. Prime falls back into the corner. Maloney continues to hammer away as the
official counts.

Eavan then pushes Prime up and hits a vicious chop to the
chest. SMP staggers out of the corner. He turns and Eavan Maloney chops him
again. The crowd ohs. She then grabs him and pulls him out and then hits a
snapmare and dropkicks him in the back of the head. SMP hits the mat. Eavan
Maloney goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Prime kicks out and rolls over and rolls out of the ring.
He holds his head and neck in pain.
Sharper: “Maloney all over Prime. Just all over him!”
Knots: “She may be tiny compared to him, but Prime is
getting his ass kicked and no one saw that coming.”
Prime walks around on the floor. (1) He winces and turns
as Eavan Maloney runs at the ropes and dives through the ropes. Prime drops
down and Maloney misses.(1) She hits the ground and rolls over. The crowd ohs.
She gets up and Prime grabs her and lifts her up and drops her face first onto
the ring apron.(2) Eavan staggers back and Prime rolls her back into the ring.
Prime slides in. Maloney gets up and Prime runs at her and hits a running high
knee, knocking her down.
Sharper: “Maloney landed hard on the floor. She got up to
her feet when back in!”
Knots: “Prime got her back down but I think that was an
eye opening moment for her.”
Sharper: “Small in stature, but not in heart.”
Maloney starts to get up and SMP grabs Maloney who scoops
her up and hits a sitout scoop slam. He reaches forward and pulls on her leg
for the pin.
1!
2!
Maloney kicks out. She turns and gets up and SMP kicks
her again and hooks her up and hits a gordbuster. He again rolls her over and
hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Maloney kicks out. She stirs and gets up and SMP hits a
Saito suplex. He bridges up this time.
1!
2!
Maloney kicks out again. SMP smacks the mat in anger.
Sharper: “SMP showing that desperation. Going for a pin
after every move.”
Knots: “It may slow down Maloney. Tire her. But Maloney
also knows this is what he’s thinking.”
Maloney gets up and SMP grabs her and hooks her up in a
waistlock. He then goes for a German suplex, but Maloney backflips through. She
smirks as SMP turns and gets up and Maloney runs at him with a running front
kick. Prime stumbles back and into the corner. Maloney then hits a dropkick to
the knee before getting up and Prime stirs and Maloney grabs him and hits a
snap back suplex, using her momentum to get him over.
Sharper: “And Maloney turning it around with some
fast-paced offense and a suplex!”
Knots: “Came in and popped up to have a bit more momentum
to get the much bigger SMP over.”
Eavan Maloney rolls over and Prime rolls over to his
hands and knees and Maloney hits the Sorsh Shot. Prime hits the corner. Maloney
smirks again and runs into the corner, catching him with a clothesline before
running out with a corner bulldog. She rolls him over and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Prime kicks out. He turns and starts to get up and
Maloney chops him in the chest hard again. The crowd woos. She chops him again.
More woos. She then grabs him, but Prime just muscles her up and over and sends
her to the floor with a back drop. Prime looks around, almost stunned. Maloney
winces on the floor as she rolls over and starts to get up. She grits her teeth
as Prime reaches through to grab her, but Maloney pops up and hits a enziguri
to the jaw. Maloney ends up on the apron as Prime falls back. Maloney then
slides back in and Prime reaches to his feet as Maloney then jumps up and hits
the Silencer. Prime ends up on his stomach.
Sharper: “Maloney with no hesitation. Jumping up and the
Silencer.”
Knots: “May be about to silence Prime’s hopes.”
Prime slowly gets up to his hands and knees and Maloney
steps on the back of his knee before dropping down and pulling back on the head
of Prime, locking in the Tap or Die. Prime tries to reach around, flailing a
bit as Eavan leans back. He then starts to tap. The crowd roars. The bell
sounds. Maloney keeps it on for a moment longer before letting go and Prime
rolls over to his side. Maloney rolls off and looks around before slowly
getting up, her music playing in the background.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, via submission, Eavan
‘Sykobitty’ Maloney!”
Sharper: “Eavan Maloney, known as Sykobitty, with an
impressive win. Prime as desperate as they come and Maloney weathering the
storm-“
Knots: “Didn’t just weather the storm. A few cows and
windows were thrown at her too!”
Sharper: “She came out not just the winner, but making
Prime tap and you know that’s something that is going to eat at him. He had to
give up as he’s so desperate for win.”
Maloney has her arm raised and pulls away. She then rolls
to the floor. She looks around and then reaches under the ring. She pulls out
her Barbie, the barbed wire wrapped bat and holds it up. The crowd roars.
Maloney looks around, hearing it. She rolls into the ring. Prime, who is coming
to, starts to look up and then rolls back, out of the ring, the referee also
bailing. Maloney steps forward, holding her bat as she then looks at him, a bit
disappointed.
Sharper: “That damn bat!”
Knots: “She just wanted you to say hi to it!”
Sharper: “And this crowd, coming to their feet for
Maloney.”
Knots: “Again…keep her away from Kim!”
Prime backs up as he turns and shows some more
frustration as Maloney holds her barbed wire bat and turns to it as the scene
cuts away.
Jaina Lancaster talks on her phone backstage.
Jaina: “Just making sure you’re okay….will be good to see
you in the ring again. Have a good night.”
Jaina hangs up and turns and starts to walk down the
hallway. As she does, she stops as we see Dylan Howell walking over to her.
Jaina just scoffs.
Jaina: “You know, I wouldn’t mind kicking your as-“
Before Jaina can finish, Simon Lyman runs out and throws
a blanket over the head of Jaina. He then pushes her hard into the wall. Lyman
then hoists Jaina up with Howell running over to help.
Sharper: “What the hell? Simon Lyman attacking Jaina!”
Lyman: “Dylan! Get the legs!”
Howell runs over and helps Lyman and lifts Jaina up.
Lyman: “Come on! We need to go.”
Lyman looks back at Jaina as he lifts her up. They start
to carry her down the hallway.
Lyman: “You think you can keep turning people on her
side. YOU are the problem. I knew it. I KNEW it. Well, don’t worry, Jaina. You
can get out of the way and people can see you, and Amy, for what they are. And
we can finally end with this crap. Oh yes…”
Lyman and Howell drag her through a doorway as Jaina
keeps fighting, and yelling. They get a few feet forward and over to a car
where Lyman then puts her down. Jaina keeps fighting as Lyman unlocks an SUV
tailgate and opens it. Simon turns and they grab Jaina and start to lift her up,
but Cassie Wolfe runs into the scene. The crowd roars. Wolfe kicks Howell in
the ribs and Lyman gets Jaina down in the back. Simon turns as Jaina kicks at
Simon a few times and gets out of the tangle that is the blanket. Cassie turns
and clubs Simon over and over in the back of the head. Jaina gets out of the
SUV and then nails Simon with a couple of hard rights before turnig and nailing
Howell with a shot. Cassie then pushes Simon down before Jaina holds him.
Cassie grabs the SUV tailgate and slams it against the back of Lyman. She then
slams it again as Lyman drops to his knees.
Sharper: “Simon trying to abduct Jaina Lancaster in this ridiculously
personal quest to ruin Amy Chastaine and the Lancaster family. Wolfe with the
save!”
Knots: “And they are hurting Simon Lyman!”
Officials run into the scene and Jaina and Cassie back
up. Howell gets up, but is pulled back by the officials. Lyman falls to the
ground, holding his back in pain. Officials checks on him as Jaina and Cassie
check on each other.

David Striker vs. Kirsten Scott
Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is
scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, “The One” Kirsten Scott!
The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz
wondering who is coming out. As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to
play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight
illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up
with the opening count-up.
Eins...
Zwei...
Drei...
Vier...
Fünf...
Sechs...
Sieben...
Acht...
Neun...
As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the
countdown at its crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...
AUS!
Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song
continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage
flanked by Hailey. The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns
around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey. Kirsten and
her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One"
staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle.
As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard
camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up.
Hailey goes into the ring, directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle
rope, and The Oracle stands on the floor directly beneath Kirsten.
Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own
direction, while Hailey and The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's
direction as well, all signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The
One."
After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten
swings her arm out in a "DELETE" motion, before quickly sliding into
the open ropes from being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her
corner. Hailey quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the
outside. Both of "The One's" compatriots stand with her,
advising her and talking to her, as she awaits the bell ringing to start her
match.
Sharper: “Kirsten Scott hoping that Taking Hold of the
Flame will go her way, but tonight, she’s just going to look to get some anger
out.”
Knots: “She already did against Selena Frost last week.
Now David Striker…and Striker is probably going to be happy to throw down.”
“Man in the Box” by Like a Storm plays and the crowd
roars. A few moments pass before David Striker walks out from the back and
scans the arena. He then nods a bit as he turns to the ring and looks at his
opponent. He then starts to head to the ring.
Phillips: “Her opponent, from Cameron, North Carolina, he
is Bam Bam David Striker!”
The crowd roars as Striker heads to the ring and slides
into the ring. He gets up to a knee and looks around before getting up to his
feet. He then turns and runs into the ropes, before sticking his upper body
under and out from the top rope, getting a louder reaction.
Sharper: “Striker, threatened by Lohan earlier. Things
getting hot there.”
Knots: “Focus on Scott. There’s a dangerous woman.”
Sharper: “I have no doubt he will. Striker takes every
match seriously.”
The One and Striker with a collar and elbow tie up.
Striker immediately takes her down with a snap mare followed by a kick to the
back. He drops three straight elbows onto The One. He pulls her
back up and goes for a snap suplex but she floats over, lands on her feet, and
then The One drops Striker with an arm ddt. Immediately she transitions
into an arm bar. It is still early in the match and Striker still has
plenty of energy and strength to power his way back to his feet. The One
will not let go. Instead she switches to a hammerlock. Striker
eventually breaks that with an elbow to her face. Striker drops Kirsten
with a roundhouse kick.
Sharper: “Hard roundhouse and Striker drops Scott!”
Knots: “Holy crap. Just got all of it.”
Striker pulls The One back up and snaps off an exploder
suplex. He transitions into an ankle lock on Scott. Kirsten fights
towards the bottom rope, quickly reaching it to force the break. Striker
drags her back out to the center and grapevines the leg and drops down, keeping
hold of the submission. The One still won’t quit. She fights to the
bottom rope again to force the break.
Sharper: “Striker holding on. Scott to the ropes. Now the
break.”
Knots: “Do you fight even? Taking Hold of the Flame
coming up. You don’t want pride to hurt you.”
Striker pulls The One back to her feet and whips her into
the ropes. Kirsten takes flights on the rebound and connects with a
flying forearm. Kirsten scrambles back to her feet and then lands a
spinning heel kick. The One takes Striker and whips him into the
corner. She charges in with a stinger splash. She lets him stagger
out of the corner before connecting with a drop toe hold transitioning into an
STF.
Sharper: “STF for Scott.”
Knots: “Both are just going to torture each other then.
Why not!”
Striker crawls towards the bottom ropes, refusing to
quit. Eventually he reaches the bottom rope to force the break.
Kirsten does break but just drags him back out to the center and locks in a
fujiwara arm bar. David still won’t give up. He keeps fighting
back to the bottom rope, eventually reaching the safety of the ropes to force
the break. Scott does break and waits as Striker pulls himself back
up. He turns around into an arm ddt from Kirsten who quickly wraps him up
in an arm bar.
Sharper: “DDT and Scott transitions to the arm bar.”
Knots: “They are going to torture each other!”
Sharper: “And Striker now needing to fight. Scott could
snap that arm!”
Knots: “She has done it before!”
David Striker is in serious pain now but will not
quit. Kirsten keeps the pressure on as David fights to the bottom
rope. Eventually he does reach the bottom rope to force the break.
Kirsten pulls him back to his feet but he quickly delivers several chops to
back her up off of him. A shotei palm thrust from Striker. Striker
with an enziguri kick. Kirsten goes down to her knees. David then
connects with a running forearm to the back of her head, DEADLY RAVE! He
goes for a cover…
1…
2…Kickout!
Striker pulls The One back up. Half nelson into an
olympic slam, HARD JUSTICE! Striker then climbs up to the top rope.
He measures The One and then leaps off the top, driving an elbow into The
One! He goes for the cover…
1…
2…
…3NO! The One shoots her right shoulder up off the mat!
Sharper: “Striker got all of that elbow, but not all of
the three count. Just a two!”
Knots: “Scott waited until the last moment to get that
shoulder up.”
David pulls The One back to her feet. He gets her
in a waistlock and tries for a German suplex but The One blocks it. The
One with a standing switch and then applies a crossface chicken wing.
David tries to walk to the ropes, dragging The One with him. The One
drags him back out to the center of the ring, keeping the hold locked in.
David then counters with a victory roll…
1…
2…
…3NO!
The One pops back up as Striker sits up. The One
with a superkick to the side of his head. The One plants him with a ddt.
She pulls Striker back up and hooks him for a snap suplex, she rolls through,
snaps off a second suplex, rolls through, and then finishes it with a falcon
arrow…One by One…The One with a standing moonsault into a cover.
1…
2…
…3NO!
Sharper: “Only two after the moonsault.”
Knots: “Scott pulling out a few tricks here.”
The One pulls David back up and hooks him up. She is
setting him up for a Tiger Driver 98 but he back drops out of it. David
hits the corner, springboards, and connects with a roundhouse kick to The
One…Black Meteor! He follows that up with VIVA LA BAM! He hooks a
leg…
1…
2…
…3NO!
David Striker pulls The One up and drops her with a belly
to back suplex. He hooks her and plants her with BAD MOON RISING!
He doesn’t cover. Instead he goes up to the top turnbuckle. He
leaps off for a high impact frog splash…but NO! The One gets her knees up
at the last possible second, driving them into his get!
Sharper: “Oh! Scott cuts off Striker. His weight going
into her knees!”
Knots: “Striker landed the way you don’t want to. That’s
one way to force all of the air out!”
The One pulls herself back up while David tries to
negotiate himself back to his knees. The One charges in and drives her
knees to the back of his head! He looks to be out cold! She rolls
him over and covers, hooking a leg…
1…
2…
Just then, the official is pulled out of the ring and
turns as Scott Reed looks at him.
Reed: “Sorry.”
Reed then turns and throws the official into the
barricade. Reed turns as Scott gets up and sees this.
Scott: “You want to die?”
Reed: “What? Don’t like me doing what you did to me years
ago. I gave you your space last time! Not tonight!”
Scott then goes to reach through, but Reed shoves her
back. She turns right into Striker who connects with a swinging reverse sto,
EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE! He covers, hooking a leg. He then looks at Scott
Reed. Reed just shrugs.
Sharper: “Reed coming out and stopping Scott from maybe
getting the win.”
Knots: “Striker may have kicked out, but Striker just
dropped Scott and now Reed at ringside and Striker won’t take the win!”
Striker then steps forward and looks at Reed. He drops
down to the floor as Reed backs up. As this happens, Brittany Lohan starts to
head to the ring. The crowd roars as she takes a few strides only to then be
stopped by Glory Braddock. Braddock stops her.
Braddock: “Enough! ENOUGH!”
Lohan just looks at her and then the ring as Striker
rolls back into the ring. He starts to call for her to make it down to fight.
Officials run down from the back. A couple go over to check on the official as
one calls for the bell, deeming the match a no contest due to the intervention
of others. Lohan keeps looking at Striker.
Lohan: “At Taking Hold of the Flame, Striker…”
Striker: “We won’t be hard to find!”
Sharper: “While Light in the Darkness and the Cowgirls
from Hell show off some respect to one another, Twisted & Sadistic and the
Dangerous Minds, the Phantom Troupe, they’re at each other’s throats.”
Knots: “But it’s Lohan. Glory is trying to curb this. She
knows it’s not going to be sustainable!”
Lohan keeps jawing at Striker as Striker does the same.
Scott slowly gets up in the ring, leaning on the ropes and glaring at Reed who calmly
leaves to the back.

Gavin Taylor vs. Marie Jones
SCW Adrenaline Championship
Contendership
"You and I walk a fragile line
I have known it all this time
But I never thought I'd live to see it break
It's getting dark and its all too quiet
And I can't trust anything now
And its comin' over you like its all a big mistake"
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute
time limit and the winner will face Bree Lancaster for the SCW Adrenaline
Championship at Taking Hold of the Flame. First, on her way to the ring, from
Boston, Massachusetts…”
"Holding my breathe, won't lose you again
Something's made your eyes go cold"
Phillips: “…The Phoenix, Marie Jones!”
A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then
Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her
signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her
face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows
images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves
as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the
arena. Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring. As for Marie
herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they
cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with
which she walks tells that story. Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She
strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the
top rope and into the ring. She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle
of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a
reaction from the crowd.
Sharper: “Gavin Taylor claims he meant nothing last week.
Bree Lancaster, Marie Jones, both don’t buy it.”
Knots: “Either way, he’s a win away from an Adrenaline
Championship shot. Winner here, Gavin or Marie, one of them is facing Bree
Lancaster at Taking Hold of the Flame!”
The lights around the arena begin to flicker as
"Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show
And the song continues...
The crowd cheers as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the
curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms
outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.
Phillips: “Her opponent, from Los Angeles, California, he
is The All-Star, Gavin Taylor!”
Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feel it whoa (whoa)
The more I need it whoa (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the
ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding
onto the top rope.
The song continues...
I cheated to get what I got
Stepped all over you self for my spot
I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not
I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught
Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the
opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off
his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes
as he watches for his opponent.
Sharper: “Marie Jones ready. Hoping this can be a soft
landing after losing the Television Championship a couple of weeks ago.”
Knots: “Gavin Taylor hoping to just get back into title
contention. Marie too. Come on. Let’s let her rip!”
The bell sounds. Marie and Gavin circle the ring. They
lunge at one another before looking up and Gavin moves into a side headlock. He
nods and looks around before Marie tries to pull him back into the ropes. She
goes to fire him off, but Gavin drops down to a knee. Gavin smirks.
Gavin: “All-Star Headlock, boys and girls!”
Gavin and Marie slowly get their feet under them and
Gavin then hits a headlock takedown. Marie counters with a headscissors. Gavin
nips out and both get up and Marie grabs the arm of Gavin and wrenches it. She
jerks on the arm and then flips Gavin down to his back. Marie jumps up and hits
a leg drop to the arm of Gavin. Gavin pulls away. Both get up and lunges at
Marie and Marie hits an arm drag. Gavin winces and rolls through. He gets up
and Marie goes for a hip toss. Gavin blocks it and spins through and hits her
with one. He goes to grab her, but Marie pushes him off with her boots. Gavin
rolls through. He gets up and Marie hits a dropkick. Gavin hits the mat. Marie
goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Beautiful dropkick, right to the jaw of the

Knots: “And Marie got all of it, but only two. And it
wasn’t because Demitra forgot how to count to three.”
Marie follows up to Gavin and grabs him and pulls him up
and forearms him in the jaw once and then again before going to whip him
across. Gavin spins through and sends Marie in. Marie bounces off and she jumps
off the rebound with a diving forearm smash. Taylor rolls over and gets up and
Marie grabs him and turns him and chops him in the chest before nailing him
with a forearm shot. She then turns and rolls down and takes Gavin down by the

Knots: “No, Marie got it. Right in the face!”
Sharper: “And she could be hurt, but Gavin now following
up!”
Gavin pulls Marie up and then kicks her in the chest. She

Knots: “From saving her neck to getting dropped!”

The bell sounds. Marie rolls off of Gavin.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and number
one contender to the SCW Adrenaline Championship…Marie Jones!”
Sharper: “And Marie Jones will face Bree Lancaster at
Taking Hold of the Flame!”
Marie Jones has her arm raised as the crowd cheers. Her
music plays throughout the arena as she looks around. The fans cheer her before
suddenly, it changes into “Spotlight” by Fozzy. Marie Jones turns her attention
to the entrance way as a few moments pass before Bree Lancaster walks out from
the back, SCW Adrenaline Championship over her shoulder. She looks down at the
ring as Marie and her lock eyes.
Sharper: “Bree Lancaster said that obviously she would be
watching this closely. And she’s watching Marie now.”
Knots: “Sometimes things work out, you know?”
Sharper: “And Bree has said she’d handle it in the ring.
At Taking Hold of the Flame, Marie Jones will look to win the Adrenaline
Championship while Bree Lancaster will look to stop another challenge!”
Bree Lancaster and Marie Jones continue their staredown.
“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as the Breakdown
logo comes up on the screen and then we see Selena Frost walking backstage,
brandishing her SCW World Championship. The crowd boos seeing her.
Sharper: “And as has become a trend-“
Knots: “Booting Bree from the main event!”
Sharper: “Selena Frost out to close things out here
tonight in Montreal. And we know Xander Valentine is here as well. What will
Selena have to say? Will Xander make an appearance? We’ll find out! Next!”
The scene fades out.

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!
"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout
the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights
shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling”
along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow
Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. The
SCW World Championship is over her shoulder.
Sharper: “Selena Frost has said the main event is for the
World Champion and she has made sure she is the final person in that ring on
every show. We know her match with Xander Valentine will close out Taking Hold
of the Flame.”
Knots: “And there will be a period where the Taking Hold
of the Flame winner will be known before Xander/Selena is decided. And
remember, if a contender attacks Selena and she’s champion, they lose their
shot.”
Sharper: “Kandis hinting at that possibility and maybe
using it to change something up. Who knows, but-“
Suddenly, a long church bell rings, once- twice- a third
time as the crowd explodes. Selena turns to the curtain behind her. The lights
go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the
intensity of the crowd’s roar.
“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for
thee.”
The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last
Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for
only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.
“Some are born to kill
Others are born to run
Some need to keep on takin'
Till you ain't got none”
Xander Valentine slowly walks out from the back. He walks
up to Selena, towering over her, and looking down at her as Selena looks up at
him with disdain. He does not touch her, instead walks around her and starts to
head to the ring.
Sharper: “Xander Valentine interrupting Selena Frost’s
entrance and now marching to the ring.”
Knots: “This is not going to be another Selena Frost
spiel.”
Xander Valentine walks down the rampway and to the ring.
Selena Frost glares at him before then starting to slowly walk down to the ring
behind him. Xander pulls himself onto the apron and into the ring. He then
steps forward, going over to the microphone that had been waiting for Selena
Frost. He takes it as Selena Frost notices this and walks over to the ring. She
then storms over to the steel steps and walks up them. Xander turns around,
walking over to the middle of the ring. He looks at Selena Frost as Selena
Frost slowly walks up the steel steps and looks over at Xander. Xander just
watches her as Selena steps along the apron and steps through, dropping down on
the middle rope before stepping into the ring. She steps up and points at the
microphone. Xander just brings the microphone to his mouth.
Xander: “This was yours?”
Selena nods.
Xander: “Seems I have it now. Shall I make some simple
statement about how the same will be true about your World Championship after
Taking Hold of the Flame?”
The crowd cheers as Selena looks at Xander.
Xander: “Instead, perhaps I should test some of your
theories? You’re supposed to be closing this show, are you not?”
Selena nods.
Xander: “This is the main event and you claim the World
Champion should always be here. Now, I’m not going to do something like poll
this crowd to see how many came to see you. But instead, I’m going to give them
something different…namely I am calling the shots right now. As I very well may
be after Taking Hold of the Flame when I become World Champion.”
The crowd cheers.
Xander: “See, Selena, I want to make sure you know one
thing. You are not facing Kandis. You are not facing Kirsten Scott. You are not
facing Polly Pingotti or Bree Lancaster or anyone else but ME!”
The crowd roars again. Selena patronizingly can be
visibly saying “I know!”
Xander: “So get out of your head your need to get your
cheap shot in on Kandis. Who cares if Kandis knocks you down from behind. I
only care as long as she doesn’t disqualify me. If she does, I will make sure
that her next hiatus will be permanent.”
The crowd gives a bit more of a mixed reaction.
Xander: “Same for anyone else. They can make their
threats. They can claim what they wish. But if they would rather face me over
you, then they are without hope and as delusional as ever because while you’ll
wrestle them, I will destroy them as I will you, Snow Queen.”
The crowd roars.
Xander: “I have said one thing over and over. This is not
the past. I am not the same person who I was when I last faced you. And I also
cannot forgot those wars…and definitely not Rise to Greatness as you so
helpfully reminded everyone else. It is the match that put me on borrowed
time.”
Selena rolls her eyes.
Xander: “No, you’re going to listen for once! We have to
hear your whining. I am merely just preparing you for what will await you.”
Selena turns away, sliding the World Championship to her
hand and looks around. She then shakes her head.
Xander: “You do realize you can strike me.”
Selena turns back to Xander.
Xander: “I can read between lines too.”
Selena looks at Xander as the crowd buzzes.
Xander: “You never said it was equal. I can’t strike you
or I lose everything. You…Because you’re above the fray, aren’t you? Don’t need
to take the cheap shot. Don’t need to attack from behind or unprovoked. Well,
I’ll change that further. I want you to strike me!”
The crowd roars.
Xander: “Take your best shot. Since I will just fall. Why
not avoid the disgrace of a main event at Taking Hold of the Flame then Selena.
You clearly don’t believe anything I said. So…take your best shot.”
Xander extends his arms. Selena looks around as the crowd
boos while some try to goad her.
Xander: “And if you’re worried about your precious main
event, you could always do commentary during the battle royal.”
Xander then extends his arms again. He stands back to
even give Selena room to step up.
Xander: “So then put me out of my misery!”
Xander extends his arms again. Selena looks at him and
just smirks.
Selena: “You’re serious?”
Xander nods. He then drops the microphone. Selena notices
this as she looks at him and then turns to the crowd. The crowd gives a mixed
reaction.
Knots: “She’s going to do it!”
Sharper: “You don’t think she would, I mean-“
Selena then lunges before stepping forward and grabbing
the microphone. The crowd boos as she walks around the ring. She then turns
back to Xander.
Selena: “Do you think I’m going to just play your game?”
The crowd boos.
Selena: “The fact is that whomever is against me is
elevated because of this…”
Selena holds up the SCW World Championship.
Selena: “And while I don’t think you’ve changed at all
and I know I can beat you to secure me going to main event Rise to Greatness
again, I am not going to risk an opportunity to remind everyone what I stand
for and that is keeping this title above the undeserving!”
The crowd boos.
Selena: “And whether you believe it or not Xander…that
won’t change at Taking Hold of the Flame. But then again, while you think I
need convincing, it’s really-“
Selena suddenly throws her leg for the Glass Shard at
Xander. Xander however catches her foot. The crowd roars. Selena just looks at
Xander, hopping on her other leg, but smirking. Xander just glares at her.
Knots: “She did it!”
Selena: “Well…good to see you have some hope…”
Selena looks at Xander.
Selena: “Now put my leg down.”
Xander looks at her before then letting go. Selena lands
awkwardly and steps back, scoffing.
Selena: “Don’t think that proved anything more than that.
I just wanted to see whether you were full of it. And you’ve learned one
thing…Too bad, unlike others, I’m not a one trick pony. And at Taking Hold of
the Flame, you won’t have your final run with this title. You’ll have to accept
as so many others that I am the standardbearer around here. Just like all of
them need to accept it too.”
Selena points to the crowd as the crowd boos.
Selena: “See you in ten days.”
Selena then drops the microphone. Xander looks at Selena,
folding his arms across his chest as Selena backs up. Selena’s music plays
throughout the arena and Selena steps through the ropes and drops down to the
floor. The crowd boos her as Xander remains stoic in the ring.
Sharper: “Selena defiantly responding to Xander. Xander
defiant too.”
Knots: “Someone is walking out World Champion going into
Rise to Greatness. Selena Frost may think nothing has changed, but Xander
Valentine isn’t the same he was years ago. And I don’t know what to expect.”
Sharper: “Selena focusing on Xander at the end. No
comment on Kandis or Scott or Pingotti; Lancaster or anyone else.”
Knots: “That may be a bad sign for Xander.”
Sharper: “Does he care?”
Selena Frost walks to the back, holding her World
Championship as Breakdown fades to black…
