DARK MATCH:

Darren Drake defeats Damian Angel via pinfall

“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Syren holding the SCW Women’s Championship, followed by a shot of CHBK hitting a Bittersweet Ending on one individual, before turning a shot of Jason Zero hitting a spear on Brian Kinney from Rise to Greatness a few years ago, before turning into a shot of Jake Starr hitting the Shooting Five Star on James Exeter.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

The SCW logo then appears on the screen before evaporating into smoke and the scene fades to black.

MAIN SHOW:

The opening strums of “Rescue Me” by Buckcherry plays as the Breakdown logo flies past the screen before we see a shot of Jake Starr holding the SCW Championship over his head. This is followed by a shot of Brittany Lohan locking in the From California with Love before freezing and flying past the screen. We see a shot of Katie Steward posing on the rampway before freezing and flying past the screen. This is followed by a shot of Rachel Foxx pulling on a barbed wire wrapped bat stuck on Dillusion’s hair and then ripping away as Dillusion smiles from the sudden pain, before freezing and flying at the screen.

“You can't erase this deep inside of me
I know I'm not a sight to see
But baby, I'm alive.”

We see Dillusion hitting Anthony Wallace with a hard right hand before freezing and flying at the screen. A shot of Jason Zero dropping Sasha Drachewych with the Chaos Theory is shown before freezing and flying at the screen. A quick shot of David Helms holding the SCW World Championship over his head, before switching to a shot of Gable Winchester and Stacy Kissinger standing together, followed by a shot of Thorn hitting the Griever’s Bane on someone is shown, followed by a shot of CHBK standing in a suit in the ring, all freezing in mid-motion and flying at the screen.

“I cherish the love and
I cherish the life that's inside of me
And I know I'm not a sight to see
But baby, I'm alive.”

Shots of Gigi Steward and Syren looking at each other, standing across the ring from each other, followed by showing Lucas Knight hitting someone with the UKOD, and followed by a shot of Shawn Winters hitting the Graven Image on Greg Cherry are all shown before freezing and flying past the screen. A shot of the former SCW Tag Team Champions, Karnivale, are shown, posing with the titles before flying past the screen.

“Won't you come and rescue me?
Separate myself from me
Maybe I'm too blind to see
Save my life, rescue me.”

Several shots of various SCW competitors, new and old, including Anthony Wallace, Mike Harrison, Thorn & David Helms, Lucas Knight, Karnivale, Ducky, Warren James, James Evans & Katelyn Buehler, Infamous and others all fly past the screen before ending with the SCW Breakdown logo flying into the screen.

The scene then switches to the inside of Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico where spotlights circle the arena before pyro shoots out from the entrance way on both sides and around the big screen before coming to a stop. The crowd erupts in cheers as the cameras pan the audience, showing the crowd, cheering and waving their signs, hoping to get onto camera. Spotlights circle the arena before we sweep down to ringside.

Sharper: “Welcome everyone to SCW’s first show in Puerto Rico as we are just days away from Taking Hold of the Flame! I’m Adam Sharper, alongside Donovan Kayl and Jim Dawson and a huge night to say the least.”

Kayl: “You want to talk about high stakes. This Sunday, we are going to see forty individuals fight for a World Championship shot. All of them know how much momentum means to them and we’ve got some huge matches here tonight.”

Sharper: “That’s putting it mildly. We’ve got the World Champion in action tonight...Shilo Valiant faces off against James Evans!”

A still of Shilo Valiant versus James Evans comes on the screen and remains there before switching to show Katie Steward versus Lucas Knight.”

Dawson: “Shilo Valiant has not been on the losing end of things since Riding the Lightning: Night One. He’s going to want to get that last bit of momentum before Taking Hold of the Flame, but let’s not take anything away from a VERY pissed off James Evans. But that’s not all. Two other favourites in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal, Lucas Knight and Katie Steward will go head to head tonight.”

Sharper: “We expect to see that and so much more. James Exeter and Matt Hodges will be in action tonight for the first time in just under a year for James and nearly two years for Matt Hodges.”

Kayl: “Let’s not forget that Rachel Foxx is running around and Justin Davis has stepped up. He’s going to face Shorty Jr. TONIGHT, just days before Shorty Jr. faces Rachel Foxx this Sunday. Talk about a lot going on!”

Dawson: “Yeah. And just think, tonight, a lot could change and really put some people from behind going into Rise to Greatness season.”

Sharper: “And our opening contest may be a huge example of that. The Adrenaline Champion, Shaun Cruze getting a HUGE opportunity to put his name on the SCW landscape firmly...facing off against Shawn Winters.”

Shaun Cruze vs. Shawn Winters

The crowd is silent as the sound of a woman climaxing is heard "OH OH SHHAAAWWWNN!" "I'm So Paid" by Akon follows.

"I get in 'til the sun rise

Goin' 90 in a 65

Windows rolled down screamin' "Ah!"

Hey-ey-ey, I'm so paid"

The crowd gives off a mixed reaction where the sounds of women's screams seem to drown out the men's boos. Shawn Winters struts out from behind the curtain with a smirk on his face and a white towel in hand. He's followed by his valet Charlie. Shawn walks to the top of the stage before turning around and taking a few steps backwards with his arms extended. He hops around and while walking down the aisle taking a glance at Charlie on the way.

"Number one hustler gettin' money

Why you wanna count my money?

I'm a hustler and don't need them

One of y'all, you see, I'm so paid"

Shawn makes his way up to the ring before noticing a couple signs held by women in the crowd. Shawn smirks at them before continuing to the ring. Shawn hops up onto the apron and begins to strut his stuff before climbing through the ropes.

"I see police on that crooked, I

Doin' 100 on interstate 95

My shorty leanin', blasyin' that 'Do Or Die'

Wishin' that motherfucker would, 'cause we certified"

He show boats some more to the fans before pushing Charlie down onto the mat. Cameras flash as he then poses on top of her with an arm raised while fireworks blast behind him. Shawn gets up and watches as Charlie begins to take off his entrance attire in a very sexual manner. Shawn then yanks her by the hair which gets a smile from her. He climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and raises his arms. He then spits his gum out into the air and slaps it away into the crowd. He then hops down back to the canvas.

Kayl: “He’s arrogant. He’s thinking he’s got Taking Hold of the Flame in the bag. I can’t wait for him to get dropped on his face on the floor this Sunday.”

Dawson: “That said, he’s been looking good and he gets off on pissing people off. We’ve seen it this entire year, but last Breakdown, he beat the number one contender, David Helms. He’s getting the wins. But more importantly, as if he doesn’t need more, he’s getting confidence.”

Sharper: “But he may be at the top of his game. This is going to be a huge match to start off Breakdown.”

The video screen cranks into life, the opening rifts of ‘You know my name’ hitting over the sound system. The fans get to their feet in a huge wave of noise, from the tops of the arena all the way down to ringside

If you take a life
do you know what you'll give?
Odds are you won't like what it Is.

When the storm arrives
would you be seen with me?
By the merciless eyes I've deceived

I've seen angels fall from blinding heights
But you yourself are nothing so divine
Just next in line

Shaun appears at the top of the ramp, and looks out over the crowd, lifting his hands and clapping those that cheer for him at the tops of their voices. Pyro explodes from the ramp to the roof tops. He points at his tee shirt which states NOW 100% SCW, which gets another major pop from the crowd. The SCW Adrenaline Championship sits around his waist.

Arm yourself because no one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfil you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?
The coldest blood runs through my veins
you know my name

He nods his head, and begins the walk down the ramp way, high fiving the appreciative fans at ringside and signing a few autographs as the noise never quietens

If you come inside
Things will not be the same
When you return to my eyes

And if you think you've won
You never saw me change
The game that we have been playing

I've seen diamonds cut through harder men
Then you yourself but if you must pretend
You may meet your end

He slides under the bottom rope and into the ring, spinning around and then stopping in the centre, raising his arms aloft and pointing at the ceiling as pyro now explodes from the turnbuckles

Arm yourself because no one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?
The coldest blood runs through my veins

Try to hide your hand
Forget how to feel (forget how to feel)
Life is gone
With just a spin of the wheel (spin of the wheel)

He walks to the first turnbuckle and climbs it, lifting one first in the air, before then smashing it into his chest. He jumps down and goes to a second turnbuckle, repeating the movement.

Arm yourself because no one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?

The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name (You Know My Name)

After climbing a third and repeats the motion before dropping down and turning around only for Shawn Winters to clothesline him down. Winters jogs over to the ropes on the other side of Cruze and smirks as he leans on them. He then looks at his wrist and points to it before turning around.

Sharper: “And Winters starts things off with a cheap shot.”

Dawson: “Are we surprised? And look. Even taunting Cruze for taking time out to give these Puerto Rican fans some respect. Signing autographs and giving them picture opportunities.”

Kayl: “Winters doesn’t care. Tell me when he cares about the fans. He doesn’t. Pissing them off? Sure! But Cruze is giving them too much time and gave Winters an opening. Shawn Winters showing Cruze that you may need to have eyes in the back of your head if you want to be at the top.”

Cruze rolls over and takes his title off before sliding it over. The referee grabs it slides it to the ring announcer to grab it and Winters turns around and grabs Cruze and lifts him up before driving his arm down across Cruze’s chest. Cruze falls over and rolls onto his back. Winters smirks and walks over to Cruze and stomps him in the face. He then stomps him again. Cruze rolls over and Winters grabs him and lifts him up. He then takes his arm and throws it over the top rope before chopping Cruze across the chest. The crowd woos and Winters smirks. He then grabs Cruze and whips him across the ring. Cruze bounces off the ropes and Winters nails him with a back elbow. Cruze drops down and rolls over. He starts to get up and Winters just follows him before lifting him up and placing him against the middle rope and driving his fingers into the eyes of Cruze. Cruze yells in pain as the crowd boos and Winters just smirks as the referee calls for the break.

Winters rips his hands away and Cruze falls back, holding his face. Winters then walks around the ring.

Sharper: “And Shaun Cruze is in a bad way. Shawn Winters taking advantage and so far just keeping the offense simple, yet effective.”

Dawson: “Everyone is trying to boo Winters out of the building.”

Winters smirks before grabbing Cruze and lifting him up before kneeing him hard in the ribs. Cruze winces and Winters then hooks him up and throws him back with a snap suplex. He then floats over for the pin.

Cruze kicks out. A faint roar comes from the crowd and Winters just gets up and drives his knee into the face of Cruze. Cruze rolls over and Winters gets up. He walks around the ring as Charlie Laurio applauds. Cruze starts to pull himself up and Winters runs over and kicks him in the ribs. Winters then whips Cruze into the ropes again. Cruze bounces off the ropes and Winters lifts him up for a back drop, but Cruze spins through. The crowd cheers and Cruze grabs Winters in a waistlock. Winters blocks any suplex attempt and elbows Cruze. Cruze turns around and Winters runs back into the ropes. He bounces off them and Cruze jumps up and hits a leg lariat. The crowd cheers and Winters starts to get up. Cruze pulls himself up too.

Sharper: “Leg lariat takes down Shawn Winters.”

Kayl: “Don’t take your time now Cruze-y. You got to take him out now. Put on the pain!”

Cruze gets up and Winters gets to his feet first and runs at Cruze, but Cruze kicks him in the leg. Winters winces and falls to the ropes. He pushes off and turns around and Cruze lifts him onto his shoulders before throwing him back with a Samoan drop. He goes for a quick pin attempt.

Winters kicks out. The crowd cheers as Winters rolls over and stirs and Cruze gets up. He then grabs Winters and drives his knee into his back. He then hooks Winters arm and hoists him up before throwing him over with a back suplex. Cruze then rolls over and gets up. He then exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. Winters remains down before as Cruze gets his balance. He then dives forward for a swanton bomb, but Winters rolls towards the corner. Cruze, however, rolls through. He then gets up and Winters pops up and runs at Cruze, only for Cruze to lifts Winters up and drop him with a flapjack. The crowd roars. Winters starts to get up and Cruze runs into the ropes and bounces off them before hitting a running facebuster. Winters rolls over and goes for the ropes only for Cruze to go for the pin.

Winters gets his shoulder up and Cruze looks up as the crowd ohs. Winters then rolls over to the apron and Cruze gets up to his feet.

Dawson: “Nearfall! Cruze nearly had Winters.”

Kayl: “Winters was looking to get out of dodge. Cruze is doing exactly what he needs to. Keep the pressure. Winters doesn’t want to do anything to give Cruze more momentum! He wants a break! Time out here.”

Sharper: “Well there are no time outs in wrestling. Shawn Winters is going to have to find his way out of it!”

Cruze gets up and Winters pulls himself to the floor. Cruze then looks over at him and turns before turning and running into the far ropes. He bounces off them and goes for a baseball slide, but Winters turns and catches Cruze, splitting his legs before just pulling him out and causing Cruze to hit the mats hard. Winters then turns and rolls into the ring. He gets up and tells the referee to count. The referee looks at Cruze and Winters snaps at him again. Cruze stirs. (1) Winters pulls himself up as Cruze holds his back. Winters glares at the referee for his count. (2) Cruze gets up and Winters just throws his arms up. (3) Cruze slowly rolls in and Winters walks over and stomps him in the back before lifting him up and dragging him to the middle of the ring before hitting a backbreaker. The crowd boos and Winters goes for the pin.

Cruze shoots his shoulder up and Winters look up in disbelief. He then turns and gets up before shaking his head.

Winters: “Stay down Shaun! You don’t need to injure yourself before your little defense!”

Winters then stomps Cruze in the chest. Cruze rolls over and Winters stomps him in the back. He stomps him again and again before dropping to his knees and kneeing Cruze in the back.

Sharper: “Winters was hoping to get the countout. No dice.”

Kayl: “Now he’s hoping Cruze will just give up this match. I don’t think Winters has realized that Cruze will probably do the opposite. Stay in there too long.”

Sharper: “Well Winters is going after that back. Obviously Winters knows it’s tender. Cruze does have to think about an Adrenaline Championship match this Sunday and an injured back is not going to do him any favours!”

Winters then grabs Cruze and lifts him up before lifting him up and hitting another backbreaker. Cruze winces and lands on the mat. Winters then smiles before grabbing Cruze by the legs and attempting to lock in the sharpshooter. Winters crosses the legs, but Cruze blocks it. Winters tries to turn him, but Cruze fights it off and pushes him off. The crowd cheers and Cruze turns and grabs at the ropes. Winters gets back up and turns and goes to grab Cruze in a waistlock, only for Cruze to hold onto the ropes. Cruze then manages to hit a standing switch before lifting Winters up and throwing him back with a release German suplex. The crowd ohs and Winters rolls over and gets up and Cruze turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off them before jumping up and Winters turns only for Cruze to blast him in the face with a jumping crescent kick. The crowd ohs and cheers as Cruze turns around. He then looks at Winters as Winters stirs and Cruze turns and runs into the ropes and bounces off them before hitting a Shining Wizard. The crowd cheers and Cruze turns to his knees. He then dives on top of Winters and hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Shining Wizard! Could Cruze get his biggest win yet?!”

1!

2!

Winters shoots his shoulder off the canvas.

Kayl: “Oh! Nope!”

Dawson: “Not enough and Winters gets his shoulder up and rolls away from Cruze! Smart move there!”

Cruze gets up and looks at Winters. He then grabs him and slowly drags him up. He then knees him in the ribs. Cruze turns and runs into the ropes and Charlie Laurio manages to grab his leg. Cruze stops and glances back and the referee comes over. Winters, however, does to and quickly grabs Cruze from behind in waistlock. Cruze however elbows Winters and Winters falls back, nailing the referee in the side of the head with an elbow. The referee falls to the mat and rolls over. Cruze turns around and looks at the referee before grabbing Winters and Winters quickly hits a jawbreaker. Charlie meanwhile runs over to the timekeeper and grabs the ring bell before turning and sliding it into the ring. Winters wastes no time grabbing it. Cruze gets back up and before he can even react, Winters drills him in the head with it. The crowd boos loudly and Winters turns and slides it back to Charlie, who grabs it and places it back with the timekeeper. The referee meanwhile starts to stir and Winters grabs Cruze and rolls him up before kicking at the referee with his leg to revive him.

Sharper: “Come on! Not this way!”

Dawson: “He used the ring bell!”

The referee turns and sees the pin before starting to count.

The crowd boos and Winters rolls off before smiling and throwing his arms in the air. He then smirks before getting up. He then looks at Cruze and just waves him off before walking over to the ropes. He drops down before smirking and flexing a bit at ringside. Charlie runs around as the camera gets in Winters’ face.

Winters: “Tell the kid I’m sorry, but really, that was going on too long and I have bigger fish to fry! Just remember, I can end matches whenever I want! I’m just THAT good!”

Winters smirks as he then starts to walk to the back without even looking back. Charlie Laurio runs over to him and raises his arm before pointing to him. Winters just stops and throws both of his arms up before then finally turning around. Cruze stirs as Winters just smiles and backs up. Cruze holds his head in pain and the crowd continues to boo Winters before “Rescue Me” starts to play throughout the arena.

Sharper: “I don’t believe it. Shaun Cruze getting his first loss like that!”

Kayl: “Do you think Winters cares? He has no respect!”

Sharper: “Well, in any case, speaking of respect, we have a huge main event here tonight.”

A still of Shilo Valiant versus James Evans comes up on the screen.

Kayl: “Yeah. No rapture, so SCW booked these huge matches hoping they didn’t have to give them away for free, but HA! They do!”

Sharper: “James Evans will look to stop the hot streak of Shilo Valiant here tonight. That and so much more still to come including the in-ring returns of James Exeter and Matt Hodges. Don’t go anywhere!”

The scene then fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

The scene shifts to the backstage entrance just as the doors open and Billy Mitchell steps in, accompanied by a young, caramel-skinned black woman wearing faded jeans and a dark tee-shirt beneath an oversized jacket, obviously one of Mitchell’s. The “American Outlaw” looks focused, but a bit frazzled, his eyes skimming each corner of the room before he turns and motions the woman on ahead, following less than a foot behind her as they turn the corner and disappear down the hall towards the locker rooms. Some of the crewmen offer a few backhanded compliments the woman’s way, but Mitchell silences them all with a glare.

Dawson: “Who was that?”

Kayl: “Don’t know. Never seen her before, but I wouldn’t mind seeing her again.”

Sharper: “Kristine Daniels. Mitchell’s new manager. Picked her up back in New Orleans.”

Kayl: “Ok. Next question. Guy looked like he’d just seen a ghost, is there something going on?”

Sharper: “The man faces Warren James tonight, then enters Taking Hold of the Flame in less than a week, I’d say he has every right to be a little on edge, wouldn’t you agree?”

Dawson: “I’ll admit it’s a little odd to see him off his game, but we all heard his words to Sasha D., via his comments to James. He sees the match tonight as a test. A kind of ‘hazing’ to prove he’s not the same man he was before.”

Kayl: “Two back-to-back wins against high-caliber opponents? …Not much of a statement left to make after something like that, but I suppose you’re right. I can see how his mind would be a little rattled right now.”

The scene opens up at ringside and the crowd starts to roar when suddenly we see the cameras start to circle around the arena before we then see Greg Cherry hop over the barricade. A security guard dives to grab him and Greg Cherry grabs a microphone before walking along the ringside area.

Cherry: “Sasha!”

Cherry looks around before then turning and rolling into the ring. He gets up as the crowd roars a bit.

Cherry: “Sasha, I want you to be listening here!”

Cherry looks around to make sure security isn’t about ready to completely run at him.

Cherry: “All I want is a chance to talk. Something you said on Ammo made sense. Because while I can count on Zero to subvert you so he can try and kick my ass, I know he’s not going to let me back so I can be in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. He’d want to coast. So damn it, I’m ask, no, pleading, for you to come out here and just give me the time of day.”

Cherry looks around and we can see security at ringside talking on their walkie-talkie as Cherry looks around. We then see a couple of officials start to run out from the back.

Cherry: “Sasha! Come on!”

Kayl: “Greg Cherry out here. Security being summoned.”

Dawson: “Well if Greg wants to be a nuisance, two officials aren’t going to stop him. He’s already suspended. He’s going to be carted off.”

Kayl: “Well is he going to get what he wants. Is this even worth it?”

Greg looks around and then looks down.

Cherry: “Come on. I just want to talk to you. I want to apologize. Come on Sasha. Please come out here.”

Cherry then looks around before taking a deep breath and dropping down to his knees.

Cherry: “Please....I’m on my knees-“

Just then the lights dim in the arena as the screens all cut to black and for a few seconds and there’s nothing but the reaction of the fans heard all around the arena. After a few moments the opening “King of the World” by Porcelain and the Tramps hits the PA system as spotlights begin to flick on and off around the arena. Greg looks confused as a few moments pass and we then see Christy Matthews walk out from the back and look down at the ring. Christy Matthews has a microphone in her hand and she just looks at Greg and shakes her head before looking down.

Sharper: “Now what is that young lady doing out here?”

Kayl: “Who knows? Who cares? Can we just cut her mic?”

Christy Matthews looks at Greg as her music fades out. Greg Cherry just looks out and glares at her.

Christy: “Greg....As amazing as it may be to see you out here grovelling on your knees for the boss to come and just talk to you, I have to say....why can’t you take your idiocy like a man?!”

The crowd ohs and then boos.

Christy: “I know I may be the last person in the world who can really talk about this, but really, I know life gets tough and you do stupid things. You get back up and you deal with it. That’s what I did after I lost to Helms. I did something stupid. I dealt with the ridicule. I dealt with the mocking from Shawn Winters and then I busted his head open and this Sunday I’m going to be going for a World Championship shot if I can win the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. And you...Greg....you finally snap again. And this time against the wrong person and you want the world to forgive you. At least you don’t hide your gold-lust. At least you don’t hide things like others...but Greg....why can’t you just accept the fact that you screwed up and now won’t have a chance to be in Taking Hold of the Flame?!”

At this point, we see security starting to come up from the back and heading to the ring. They walk past Christy and continue to the ring before Christy exclaims out.

Christy: “Whoa...guys...hold up. Let me give my case since we’re giving airtime to someone who has been suspended from this company until after Taking Hold of the Flame. I think he needs to hear this. Because you know what Greg....you FINALLY don’t have something going the way you want. You FINALLY have to deal with the fact that you screwed up. You pissed away your wife and now you’ve pissed away a chance at history. And we still don’t have a clue as to why your wife wasn’t here a few weeks ago. Go and sit at home and watch Taking Hold of the Flame and learn from your mistakes. Because one year ago, I was ready to compete at Rise to Greatness weekend and guess what...things didn’t work out for me. A bit of irony there as I was going to face Holly Adams. Instead, I faced no one and watched the show from my hotel room. What did I do? I went and made an impact and now I’m standing here with a pretty good chance to be a favourite this Sunday. Especially with you not there. How sweet would that be if I was main eventing Rise to Greatness.

Christy starts to pace.

Christy: “So Greg...part of me does feel sorry for you. You’re imploding in front of the world. You finally had it with the fact that you’re a screw up. You finally then took it out on the wrong person and you’re standing in that ring about to be arrested and taken to jail again. Seems to be a look for you this year.”

Christy smirks.

Christy: “Look...I know it may seem harsh. But after everything I’ve been through this year, and watching you come out here....while Ravyn can call out the hypocrites...I can call out those that really need to just get over themselves. Greg...you’ve had opportunity after opportunity. I had my shot. Don’t you think I would love to get my hands on another go for the World Championship. Hell, maybe I want to go back in time a year ago before my entire personal life wasn’t plastered all over the place....But Greg...not everything works out. And for you...I have to say....when I’m standing in the ring at Taking Hold of the Flame and know that you’re not coming out...I can’t say I won’t be disappointed. It’s good to see someone else have to be on the bad side of it all. And I hate to see it but after everything we’ve seen from you this past year where you’ve had more success than so many....I have to smile. Enjoy watching from home. Can’t think of it happening to anyone better. Get over yourself. Go cry at home. We don’t want to see it here.”

Christy then backs up and brings the microphone down as security then surrounds the ring. “King of the World” starts to play throughout the arena as the crowd boos Christy a bit. Greg just glares at Christy before he then finally replies, barely heard through the music.

Cherry: “You say that with the mic. Come to the ring. Why don’t you just take out those frustrations here!

Cherry just backs up before security enters the ring and Greg just throws the microphone down. Christy just shakes her head before turning back and walking to the back.

Sharper: “Christy Matthews telling Greg Cherry to get over  himself. Something just doesn’t add up. We pointed it out on Breakdown. Greg wasn’t being himself.”

Dawson: “And now he’s trying to get around. Why didn’t he try to apologize to Sasha earlier? Why is he blaming her? There is something wrong here.”

Kayl: “Well whatever it is, Christy Matthews showed her true colours, kicking Greg while he’s down. And no matter what, Greg, man....get your stuff together. You’re risking far more than this is worth, whatever it is. Go and take a break and come back.”

Sharper: “But with a World Championship opportunity, that what every dreams of.”

Kayl: “Well...I can’t disagree with you there.”

Christy disappears to the back as Greg Cherry gets on his knees with his hands on his head, almost mocking security as they walk over and cuff him. The crowd just boos as Greg Cherry is cuffed and security slowly tells him to make his exit. Greg Cherry just looks unimpressed as the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

Breakdown returns and we open up backstage to see Greg Cherry being led out of the arena, still in his handcuffs. The crowd roars, with some boos afterwards, upon seeing him. Greg just rolls his eyes as he sees Sasha Drachewych standing at the back entrance. She just looks down and sighs.

Sasha: “Steve...”

The head security officer, presumably named Steve, walks over to the SCW owner.

Steve: “Yes, Ms. D?”

Sasha: “Uncuff him.”

Steve: “You sure?”

Sasha: “Yeah....Greg....I’m giving you five minutes. You better convince me well. That’s all the time you’ve got. I have other matters to deal with.”

Greg: “More than enough time. I just need to explain where I was at.”

Sasha sighs.

Sasha: “Escort him to my office when you’re done uncuffing him.”

Sasha turns and walks off as Greg just smiles. He’s then uncuffed and Steve points to the side and Greg walks off with Steve behind him following him as we head back to ringside.

Sharper: “Greg may get his second chance.”

Kayl: “Well he better get that silver tongue out. Sasha does not seem to be in a good mood.”

The scene however suddenly changes back as we see Christy Matthews walking back to the Infamous locker room and Marisa Condolesa can be seen trying to get to Christy. Christy just continues as the cameraman races to keep up with the voluptuous interviewer.

Marisa: “Christy! Christy...a word?!”

Christy stops and turns around smirking a bit.

Christy: “Ah...always nice to get a bit of airtime.”

Marisa: “Just wanted to get a word with you as you went out there and berated Greg Cherry out there. We’re used to that from Ravyn Taylor, but some people have stated that you’ve been almost getting out of the Infamous shadow and looking like –“

Christy: “Like what? Someone that now people want to cheer for. I nearly off myself and the world now wants to stand behind me. I never changed. It pisses me off to see people like Greg Cherry whine when someone finally doesn’t go their way when finally, the boss actually does things fairly. I’ve had my fair share of crap moments. Not being at Rise to Greatness, not main eventing Gang Rulz when I expected to, losing to David Helms in my first pay per view main event for the World Championship. But I’ve come back. Sure, I made dumb decisions, but I’ve come back. Ask Shawn Winters whether he wants another go with me. He may act all big and say he’s still standing, but let’s see if he’ll go toe to toe with me inside that ring if we meet at Taking Hold of the Flame. Greg just got what he deserved. Glad to see it happen. Add that Helms, Thorn and all of their buddies may too. It’s going to be a fun day for me. I’ll be happy. I just need to get what I deserve....a shot at the main event at Rise to Greatness. That’ll make me over the moon!”

The crowd boos as Christy then turns and walks off as Marisa just watches her stunned.

Kayl: “Told you! Nothing changed.”

Dawson: “Christy never was one to hide her feelings...”

The camera pans backstage as to the arrival of Cedro Martinez, who is alongside a pretty face of a woman. Unknown of who she is, dressed in combat boots, ripped stockings, a denim skirt, a wife beater and leather jacket, the camera slightly zooms in closer to see as the two are conversing back and forth, both carrying smiles along the way. The cheering of the audience can be heard as to their beloved Cedro’s appearance. Jessica Winters approaches the two hoping to get the ‘low-down’.

Jessica Winters: “Guys, I am here with none other than Cedro Martinez, who seems to be ready for action tonight as he takes on the notorious Joachim Fiore later on. Hello there, and who is this lovely face you’ve brought along?”

Cedro shoots a smirk as he speaks into the microphone…

Cedro Martinez: “Well Jessica, I’m sure every person in the world watching right now is pretty much asking the same thing. Over my extinguished career, I have never been as happy as I am right here, right now. A surprise you could say. This beautiful young and glorious face you see is none other than Camila Martinez…”The Violent Rose”, or in a much simpler explanation…My SISTER!”

The crowd responds favourably. Cedro continues to smile as so does Camila. Jessica Winters is a bit shocked

Cedro Martinez: “See, we have a nice bond as a ‘familia’. We’ve kept in touch via letters, only to see face-to-face since our early years of childhood. So tonight, it’s a pleasure to be standing beside her knowing that we share something in common…entering that squared canvas and beating the competition. Together forever, we will become a force to be reckoned with soon enough, “The Vintage Era” has finally arrived!”

Jessica Winters just still stands in slight shock, but able to respond better this time around.

Jessica Winters: “I’m lost for words right now…”

Camila Martinez: “Psh, words? Who needs words when actions do more justice? The SCW is in need an extreme make over and I’m the puppeteer looking to pull a few strings. At first the Women’s division was gonna be toast but I realized the females compete with the guys as well and that just made me drool a little. We’re bringing some color to SCW, as it’s lacking in mood and tone. Me and my bro are here to bring about the Vintage Era. Are you game to witness it Ms. Winters?”

Jessica Winters: “Your ego is quite high, don’t you think, Camila?”

Camila Martinez: “Why don’ t you come to the Vintage Era locker room later and I’ll show you why my confidence is so high.”

Camila starts to giggle and Cedro quickly interrupts in between the two, as Camila shoots Jessica a serious glare.

Cedro Martinez: “Excuse me for the slight interruption here, but Jessica…I don’t believe you want to go that route!”

Cedro said, shaking his head towards Jessica Winters as he grabbed his sister Camila by the hands and took her along, past Jessica Winters and the camera guy as Camila stared continually at Jessica seemingly whispering expletives towards her as the camera panned out and turned back to ringside.

Marina Trent vs. Natalie Dubrinsky

I'M....FALLING IN THE BLACK
SLIPPING THROUGH THE CRACKS
DREAMING OF THE WAY IT USE TO BE
CAN YOU HEAR ME?!

"Falling Inside the Black" by Skillet plays as the lights to a bright white color onto the rampway. The fans cheer and yell their support as a light fog of black and white smoke settles along the ramp way and spills outwards, swirling. With all in place, a figure raises from under the mist, her back to the audience, who can only see the silk silver of a cape with feathers designed on them and long, brown hair with black feathers in them.

FALLING IN THE BLACK
SLIPPING THROUGH THE CRACKS
FALLING TO THE DEPTHS
CAN I EVER GO BACK?!
FALLING INSIDE THE BLACK!!

Running her hands through her hair and down her body sensually to the music, she earns excited cries and wolf calls from the audience. Turning slowly, the audience sees the dark eyes and gently smiling face of the Black Swan, Marina Trent. With a sudden turn, the lights flare white and pyrotechnics rain down, adding to the spectacle.

The Black Swan makes her way down the ramp, her body swaying with every step and staring at the arena darkly - a predator claiming her ground. Reaching the right side of the ring, she pulls herself up with ease and stays there for a moment before powering off with a high-flying backflip over the ropes and landing on her feet in the centre of the ring. Finally, running up to the bottom left turnbuckle, continuing her stride until she has launched herself up, balancing on the ropes, the Black Swan blows a kiss with both hands. She teases her audience and subjects demurely with this display before launching off from her precarious position on the top ropes into a graceful, but deadly dive of SCW's resident dare devil. The moment her feet hit the ring's centre, as she lands cleanly in a huntress crouch, the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “Marina Trent looking to gain a win before we go into Rise to Greatness season. One thing that has to be on her mind is getting back into contention for the SCW Women’s Championship.”

Kayl: “Well with Syren handing out shots like she was on Ammo, maybe Marina just has to piss her off. Get that shot and dethrone her!”

The house lights dim, as the opening to "Raise Your Glass" by the Warblers blasts through the speakers. A prismatic range of colors dance across the stage, as crowd seemingly gets pumped by that rhythmic party music. Upon the big screen, the name "Natalie Dubrinsky" types out in large metallic steel letters, as she herself emerges from behind the curtain. Bouncing to the music, she nods to the excitement the crowd brings to the air as pauses and throws her fist into the air before continue on to the ring for her match.

Dawson: “Newcomer Natalie Dubrinsky is going to have a huge challenge already. She made her debut on Friday Night Ammo and defeated Madison Steward.”

Sharper: “And taking nothing away from Madison Steward, but she’s still trying to get her feet under her. Marina Trent is a former Women’s Champion. Dubrinsky is going to have to make sure she’s ready to go tonight or else this is going to be a long night for her.”

Marina looks at Dubrinsky and the two just watch each other before the bell sounds. Dubrinsky walks out from her corner and Marina Trent starts to do so as well. Both watch each other and Dubrinsky lunges, but Marina kicks her in the ribs. She then grabs the arm of Dubrinsky and kicks her in the ribs again before wrenching the arm. Dubrinsky winces and Marina jerks on the arm. She then kicks Dubrinsky in the chest. Marina then turns and backs up to the corner, only for Dubrinsky to stop and hold off. She then pulls Marina back and nails her with a forearm. She hits another and Dubrinsky frees herself before kicking Marina in the ribs. She then whips Marina into the ropes. Marina bounces off the ropes and Dubrinsky goes for a back drop, but Marina spins through and then lands on her feet. Dubrinsky turns around and Marina jumps up and dropkicks her in the jaw. Dubrinsky falls back and Marina gets back up.

Dawson: “Nice dropkick. Down goes Dubrinsky.”

Kayl: “Marina is the faster one. She should start to fly. Grow those swan wings or whatever and fly!”

Marina gets to her feet and Dubrinsky pulls herself up before Marina kicks her in the ribs. She then hooks the arm and throws Dubrinsky back with a vertical suplex. She then turns and goes for the pin.

Dubrinsky kicks out. She rolls over and starts to pull herself up as Marina gets up to her feet. Dubrinsky gets up and Marina blasts her with a forearm shot. She then hits another before whipping Dubrinsky into the corner. Marina turns and runs after her, and Dubrinsky gets her boot up. Marina stumbles back and Dubrinsky runs out and clotheslines her down. Marina starts to get back up and Dubrinsky gets up before scooping her up and slamming her down. Marina pulls herself up and Dubrinsky nails her with a European uppercut. Marina falls back to the ropes. Dubrinsky then fires her into the ropes. Marina bounces off the ropes and Marina attempts to counter with a flying headscissors, but Dubrinsky throws her off. Marina lands on her feet and spins around before Dubrinsky kicks her in the ribs before dropping her back with a DDT. The crowd ohs and Dubrinsky pulls herself up as Marina stirs in pain.

Sharper: “Dubrinsky takes Marina back to the mat with a DDT. This coming off a headscissors attempt that Dubrinsky was able to shake off.”

Kayl: “Marina’s face in pain. She’s in pain in general. Dubrinsky did not hold back on that one.”

Dawson: “Big opportunity seems to be the name of the game in SCW as of late. Dubrinsky’s getting that chance now.”

Marina reaches out for the ropes and Dubrinsky grabs her and drags her up before nailing her with another European uppercut. Marina stumbles back. Dubrinsky then grabs her and throws her back with a back suplex. Marina rolls over and starts to stir as Dubrinsky then gets up and looks over at her. Marina gets to her knees and Dubrinsky jumps to the middle turnbuckle and dives back for a crossbody, but Marina moves out of the way. Dubrinsky hits the mat hard. She the starts to get up and Marina runs up the turnbuckle before diving back with a corkscrew moonsault. She then turns and hooks the leg.

Dubrinsky kicks out. Both women then get up. Dubrinsky gets up and Marina kicks her in the ribs before turning and whipping her to the ropes. Dubrinsky bounces off the ropes and Marina jumps up and snaps her over with a hurricanrana.

Sharper: “Pace quickening now. Marina Trent using her agility.”

Kayl: “Where’s that strength that Dubrinsky was showing? Shrug her off. Throw her down. Something.”

Dubrinsky gets back up and Marina turns and kicks her in the ribs. She then whips her into the ropes. Dubrinsky bounces off the ropes and Marina goes for a boot, but Dubrinsky stops and spins around her, dodging it before grabbing Marina in a waistlock. Dubrinsky goes to throw her back, but Marina falls forward and ends up against the ropes. She holds on and Dubrinsky then headbutts her in the back. Marina falls to her knees. Dubrinsky then grabs her and goes to lift her up and Marina back flips through. Dubrinsky however nails her with a back elbow. Marina stumbles back and Dubrinsky then bounces off the ropes and Marina jumps up and nails her with an enziguri. The crowd ohs and Dubrinsky falls to the mat.

Kayl: “Hello!”

Dawson: “She caught her in the side of the head and Dubrinsky is dazed and confused.”

Dubrinsky starts to get up and Marina Trent gets up and looks at Dubrinsky. She then walks up to her from behind before hooking her head and taking her down with the Crown Jewel. The crowd ohs and Trent rolls Dubrinsky over for the pin.

2!

3!

The crowd roars and Marina rolls over and gets up. She has her arm raised as she looks out at the crowd.

Sharper: “Marina Trent finishes off Natalie Dubrinsky with the Crown Jewel, driving her face first into the mat!”

Dawson: “And the Black Swan continues to her recent wave of success in SCW!”

Marina Trent smiles as she looks around and celebrates a bit. She then walks over to the ropes and exits the ring. Dubrinsky starts to stir, holding his head in pain as we head backstage.

The scene opens up backstage and we see David Helms walking through the backstage area. The crowd cheers upon seeing him and he continues down the hallway before looking around and then walking over to an official. He says something to him, inaudible to the camera before turning and continuing down the hallway before seeing Chris Oliver. He walks over to him.

Helm: “Hey, Chris. You have a microphone on you?’

Oliver: “Yeah. What’s up?”

Oliver turns and grabs the microphone off a clipboard he had with him and turns to Helms.

Helms: “You get to do an impromptu interview here.”

Oliver: “Oh.....Oh!”

Oliver then stands up and turns to Helms.

Helms: “But you don’t need to worry about the intro. I just got the camera and the microphone. I can make sure that people that need to hear it, hear it.”

Oliver: “It’s all yours, David.”

Helms nods and looks right at the camera.

Helms: “I’m going to make this really quick. Shilo wants to call me out about whether or not I’m focused. So here’s what I’m going to offer. Here tonight, I let you best friend in the world let you know how focused I am. Masquerade...this is a challenge to you. I’ll let you have the shot at me first as I head into Taking Hold of the Flame. Just let me know if you want the shot.”

The crowd roars as Helms turns and looks to Oliver.

Helms: “Thanks. Now I wait.”

Helms turns and walks off as Oliver looks stunned.

Sharper: “David Helms just challenged Masquerade to a match here tonight! Masquerade and Helms tonight?”

The scene then slowly fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

Breakdown returns and the scene opens up in the locker room of Chad Evans and the Chosen as we see James Evans smiling as he turns and looks at Destiny, Katelyn and Chad Evans as they are in the locker room.

James: “Nothing to say to me?”

Chad: “Why? You’re the one that threw a bitchfit on Ammo.”

James just shakes his head.

James: “You know what Chad. I think I’m going to enjoy tonight. Because I get to do something that you probably never will get to do. Beat a World Champion. I mean you think you’re so great, but the fact is that every time the pressure gets up there, you disappear. That’s why you were away. Not a kidnapping like the rumours say and NOT to test us.”

Katelyn: “You just wish you were worthy of a test.”

James: “Pulling your pants down is not a test.”

Katelyn: “Hey!”

Destiny then gets up.

James: “Oh you sit down too. You needed me to give you your biggest win and what have you done with it. You get your ankle twisted by dumb and dumber and can’t even help me take them out. You should’ve loved to do that.”

Chad: “I have my own ways....and James....you forget one thing about your BS...”

James: “What’s that?”

Chad: “When I beat World Champions....I take their titles with me.”

James Evans just glares at Chad.

James: “Oh yeah...well...this time, I’m going to make sure I at least get something out of it too!”

Chad just smirks as James just backs away before turning and heading out of the room.

Chad: “You wish, kid...you wish.”

James Evans leaves the locker room as Chad just smirks and shakes his head before the scene changes.

We then see a shot of Dillusion, seated in darkness, in the boiler room of the arena. Dillusion can be seen just looking down at the floor.

Sharper: “And there you see Dillusion, who has secluded himself in the boiler room of this arena. He’s wanted time to think. He’s wanted time to himself. And he’s promised to share his thoughts later tonight.”

Dawson: “Who knows what they may be and how stable he could be.”

Dillusion just remains in the boiler room, looking at the floor, hardly moving before the scene cuts to ringside.

“The Bullet” Cedro Martinez vs. Joachim “Noir” Fiore

The words 'Joachim Fiore' flash across the big screen as “Scream Aim Fire” by Bullet for my Valentine plays its opening chords. The camera goes to the locker just as Joachim “Noir” Fiore walks out. He shoots out to the camera and sticks his wrists out, showing his handcuffs to the world. One of the police from the arena comes into view. With a key, he unlocks the cuffs. Fiore marches to the stage entrance, and the camera changes to the ramp. Fiore comes out to a mixture of jeers and cheers. He takes off hid top and gets into the ring. He crawls over to the turnbuckle, where he turns and sits against it, lighting a cigarette as the music dies down.

Sharper: “Joachim Fiore, otherwise known as Noir, has not had the success he has wanted, but that may just make him more dangerous.”

Kayl: “Desperate men do desperate things. He’s taking off his purse. Throwing the high heels over there. He’s going to just bust some people up!”

Come wit it now!
Come wit it now!

The loud pyros echoing out throughout the arena as they burst with much energy as to the appearance of the speeding bullet, Cedro Martinez as his energetic approach to the ramp causes the fans in the audience to cheer in seeing his arrival. Standing there, stretching, while looking around then back at the ramp leading to the ring, he balls his hands up as if to give off a prayer. Camila Martinez then walks out from the back after Cedro makes his gesture.

Coming down the ramp, the hands of many reaching out to get slapped by Martinez's as his high wave of electricity bolts the audience into continuous screams. Martinez climbs the steps before hopping onto the top turnbuckle from the outside, getting a good view of the audience before hopping down into the ring, lightly bouncing around in mini-circles. Camila walks around the ring, looking at his brother.

Rally round tha family! With a pocket full of shells
They rally round tha family! With a pocket full of shells
They rally round tha family! With a pocket full of shells
They rally round tha family! With a pocket full of shells

In the middle of the ring, raising his arms up along with the cheering fans, Martinez hops onto the middle rope, doing his signature taunt of a bullet piercing through. Back to the middle of the ring, he gives off a loud scream, as the emotions begin to ride on a serious high as he waits for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Cedro Martinez looks to come back from a tough loss on Breakdown two weeks ago. Billy Mitchell managed to get the better of him, but Cedro Martinez is showing those flashes that made him a stalwart in the Adrenaline Division.”

Dawson: “Let’s not forget Majestic Wrestling. He can get it done in that ring and just wait until he’s allowed to just fly.”

Sharper: “But one has to wonder how his new valet, his sister, who is appearing for the first time tonight may affect him.”

The bell sounds and Fiore just glares at Martinez. Cedro bounces off the ropes a bit before looking at Fiore. He then runs at him and Fiore attempts a clothesline, but Cedro ducks. Cedro bounces off the ropes and jumps up and nails Fiore with a jumping calf kick. Fiore stumbles back and Cedro gets up and runs into the ropes again. He bounces off them and jumps up and nails him with another calf kick. Fiore stumbles back and bounces off the ropes. Cedro gets up and jumps up and knees Fiore in the jaw. Fiore nearly falls out of the ring. Cedro then grabs him before being spun through and Fiore sends Cedro into the ropes. Cedro bounces off the ropes and Fiore nails him with a back elbow. Cedro pops back up and Fiore kicks him in the ribs. He then kicks him again. Fiore whips Cedro into the ropes before running after him and Fiore then nails Cedro up and over the top rope, but Cedro lands on the apron.

Dawson: “Not quite out of the ring. Cedro hanging on.”

Sharper: “Well is his arm caught...or Fiore I think still has him by the arm.”

Kayl: “More punishment maybe?”

Fiore actually does hold onto Cedro and nails him with a hard right. He then places his face against the top rope and starts to rub his head into the ring before raking his eyes against the rope. Cedro falls to a knee as the crowd boos. Fiore walks around the ring before walking along the ropes and running at Cedro and attempting a clothesline, but Cedro ducks. Cedro then holds onto the ropes and jumps up before kicking Fiore in the side of the head. Cedro then grabs Fiore and holds onto him before hip tossing him up and over to the floor. Fiore winces as he lands hard on his backside. The crowd cheers and starts to roar as Cedro then holds onto the ropes and Fiore gets up and turns back to the ring only for Cedro to springboard to the middle rope and dive back with an asai moonsault. The crowd erupts in cheers as Cedro rolls over and holds his ribs as he gets up. (1)

Sharper: “Beautiful asai moonsault. Cedro Martinez leaving his feet and taking down Fiore.”

Dawson: “He hurt his ribs though. But this crowd is loving it.”

Cedro Martinez gets up and grabs Fiore.(2) He lifts him up before nailing him with a hard right. Fiore stumbles back. (3) He then grabs him and rolls him back into the ring. Fiore rolls over and starts to get up as Martinez hops onto the apron. Fiore starts to get up and Martinez springboards to the top rope and jumps at Fiore and spins through into a complete shot. The crowd ohs and Fiore rolls onto his back. Martinez goes for the pin.

Fiore kicks out. Martinez looks up and gets up. He then stomps Fiore in the head and then again before watching him stir. He then runs into the ropes. He bounces off them and jumps up as Fiore gets to his hands and knees and hits a senton onto his back. Fiore winces and rolls over. Martinez then pulls himself up and grabs Fiore and lifts him up before kicking him in the ribs. He runs into the ropes and bounces off them and Fiore suddenly lifts him up and drills him hard into the mat with a vicious spinebuster. The crowd ohs as Cedro Martinez just is laid out.

Sharper: “Cedro Martinez stopped just like that as Fiore hoists him up and plants him.”

Kayl: “Not messing around. Fiore just showed that. I think he’s done with Cedro running around.”

Fiore looks up and grabs Cedro by the head and lifts him up before kneeing him hard in the ribs. Fiore rears back and knees him again. He then turns and whips Cedro into the ropes. Cedro bounces off the ropes and Fiore jumps up and nails him with an bicycle kick. Cedro hits the mat and Fiore drops down and folds up Cedro for the pin.

Cedro kicks out. He rolls over and Fiore grabs him by the head and hair and lifts him up. He then clubs him in the back. Cedro falls forward and Fiore spins him around and nails him with a hard right. He then whips him into the ropes. Cedro bounces off the ropes and Fiore attempts a clothesline, but Cedro flips under it before jumping up to the middle rope and nailing Fiore with a knee to the jaw. Fiore stumbles back and Cedro runs into the ropes before bouncing off them and going for a running headscissors before spinning through into a DDT. The crowd roars in cheers and Cedro gets back up.

Dawson: “Whoa! What a move! Out of the headscissors!”

Kayl: “He DDTed him. Fiore didn’t know where Cedro was coming from!”

Fiore stirs and Cedro looks at him. He then grabs the arms of Fiore as he gets up before hoisting him up onto his shoulders and spiking him with the Bullet 4 Ur Heart. The crowd ohs and cheers and Cedro Martinez steps forward and pulls the leg back.

The crowd roars and Cedro Martinez gets up to his feet. He then looks around and smiles before turning and looking at Camilla Martinez who is with him. Camilla just applauds.

Sharper: “Cedro Martinez picks up a huge win and with that young lady in his corner.”

Kayl: “Cedro rebounds from the loss last Breakdown and the Bullet may have something here.”

Cedro Martinez has his arm raised and he walks around the ring celebrating as Fiore stirs and the scene cuts backstage.

The scene opens in one of the hallways backstage as Rachel Foxx and Justin Davis step into the hallway and look to each other. Alex Desoubrais Jr. then walks out after them.

Rachel: “Ready?”

Davis: “Been looking forward to this. Figured we’d see how rusty the kid is.”

Rachel: “Works for me.”

Alex Jr.: “Good luck out there.”

Rachel: “You’re not coming with?”

Alex Jr. sighs before looking away and then back at Rachel.

Alex Jr.: “I have business I need to take care....for my sake...and yours.”

Rachel just smiles and looks at Alex.

Rachel: “Good luck to yourself then.”

Rachel Foxx and Justin Davis then turn and start to walk down the hallway. Alex Desoubrais Jr. turns and walks off in the opposite direction.

Sharper: “When we return, Justin Davis and Shorty Jr. will collide, only on Breakdown!”

The scene then slowly fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

We return from commercial and are taken backstage. Someone is sitting at what appears to be a lemonade stand, and it’s decorated absolutely ridiculous. There are fliers and posters stuck to the sides of the stand, and all around it on the walls and chairs. The camera zooms in on one of these fliers, reading what it says: “Join E.P.I.C. TODAY.”

Suddenly, the man behind the stand notices the camera man.

???: “You there! Camera man! Perfect! This is the perfect way to get out our message to THE WORLD!”

The camera turns and sees the man coming out from behind the stand. On closer examination, just before he pulls his mask down, we see that it is James Exeter, and he’s dressed in ludicrous attire. He’s got on a tight red and black super hero outfit that reads “The Cardinal” on the front of it. His mask is also part head dress, with read feathers pluming up over top. James, or “The Cardinal” smiles into the camera.

The Cardinal: “Greetings, denizens of SCW and followers of justice! Today is a bright day for the entire world, because two brave super heroes have come to save SCW from the evil clutches of… evil clutchery! And while we can probably do it on our own, I thought, what fun is that? So tonight, I have been sitting here, passing out fliers and trying to get us a new member. A third person, if you will!”

Exeter puts his hands on his hips, smiling still, before realizing that he needs to explain further.

The Cardinal: “Oh right! First of all, our heroic and extraordinary group of heroes has an amazing name. We are called… E.P.I.C.”

He turns and motions with his hand to the top of the lemonade stand, and we see the letters “E.P.I.C.” in bright green and blue coloring.

The Cardinal: “Yes, that’s right. We are E.P.I.C. Entertaining. People. In. Cohesion. The most extraordinary and amazing group of heroes to ever establish themselves in SCW! I know you want to join! But before you all come rushing down, there are some requirements that my partner and myself have established. Hold on, let me get them.”

Exeter rummages behind his stand momentarily before pulling out a piece of paper and holding it up to read.

The Cardinal: “Requirement one… and these operate on a sort of either/or basis. You don’t have to meet all of them. Anyways, requirement one, you have to be entertaining. That one’s mine. Unfortunately, that excludes about 85% of the active roster, but don’t be discouraged, you could fit another! Requirement two… you are capable of flight. Pretty self explanatory. Anyways, Matt-man, my partner, had a couple requirements that don’t really make a lot of sense.”

He turns the paper upside down momentarily, as if that might help.

The Cardinal: “Requirement three… you can be ‘a fine bitty with some D-S-L.’ Whatever that means. I’m not sure why Matt-man wants high speed internet. I have a smart-phone!”

He pulls out his Droid and waves it around for a second to prove his point.

The Cardinal: “Aaand last but not least, requirement four… You have not be Greg Cherry. I thought that would’ve fallen under requirement one, but Matt-man wanted to be completely sure. I sort of agree, you can never be too careful. But anyways, that’s our short list of requirements! If you meet them all, or only one or two feel free to come down to the booth here tonight and apply to join us! Just think, you could potentially be the third Entertaining Person In Cohesion. Is that a chance you really want to pass up? I don’t think so!!!”

Exeter grins as the camera turns up to look at one of the signs and zooms in on “Join E.P.I.C. TODAY!” as the scene comes to a close.

The scene then changes to see Masquerade walking down the hallway and looking around. The crowd cheers upon seeing him. He looks around before smirking and walking over to the locker room door of David Helms and Thorn. He takes a moment before knocking on the door. He looks down as a few moments pass and we then see the door open and David Helms step outside. He then smiles as he looks at Masquerade.

Masquerade: “Name the time and place.”

Helms: “Excellent.”

Helms smiles as Masquerade turns and tips a non-existent hat before walking off.

Dawson: “It’s happening.”

Sharper: “I guess so. Masquerade and David Helms going at it, one on one, tonight!”

Shorty Jr. vs. Justin Davis

Lights are shut off in the arena as the sound of the engine of a car starting up is heard as well as sounds of shots firing across with the shattering of glass. Fans begin to boo as “Ready or Not (Gonna Find You)” by JC Blade begins to eerily play across the PA system. Vivid images of Shorty Junior left in a bloody heap and laid out with his body limp on the ground from a steel chair to the head flash back and forth. Clips of him holding up the United States title as well as hitting the All-Star slam on several people are shown.

The camera cuts to the top of the ramp where a solitary light shines down on Junior who stands with his back to the crowd. Wearing a white hooded jacket with matching sweat pants, he pulls down the hood slowly and turns around. Junior walks down to the middle of the ramp and stops. He spreads his arms out as white pyros set off in the air from left to right at the top of the ramp. The lights come back on as he slides into the ring. He takes off his jacket and sweat pants as he waits.

Sharper: “Shorty Jr. is returning to the ring just days before he is scheduled to face Rachel Foxx at Taking Hold of the Flame. Justin Davis called out Shorty Jr. backstage earlier today and made it clear he wants to send a message to him before this Sunday.”

Kayl: “That said, we don’t know what Shorty Jr. is going to look to do. Davis, when he wants, he can be quite brutal. But the fact is that Shorty Jr. probably doesn’t care about Davis. He wants Rachel. He made that clear.”

Pyrotechnics shoot out of the top of the ramp as "Awake and Alive" by Skillet begins to play. Justin Davis then comes walking out to a mix reaction of a crowd, wearing his entrance gear; zippered up vest with running pants that reads Davis on both legs. He stands at the top of the ramp looking around the arena, smirks and nods his head. He then finally walks down the ramp, not slapping hands with any fans. Rachel Foxx then walks out from the back and just slowly walks out after him. The SCW Underground Championships sits on her shoulder as the crowd cheers for Rachel. Once Davis makes it to the ring he points up to the sky then slides in the ring. And, once he gets in the ring he goes to a random turnbuckle and stands on the second rope, taunting all the fans, then points up to the sky and drops down. Davis now waits in the middle of the ring, stretching, and awaiting for the start of the match. Rachel walks around the ring and looks up at Shorty Jr.

Sharper: “Rachel Foxx is out here and Shorty Jr. has to be aware.”

Kayl: “Oh he’s aware. Everyone is when she’s around.”

Dawson: “And he’s got Davis in that ring and we’ve seen Davis be a good rock for Alex Desoubrais Jr. and Rachel Foxx. Alex Desoubrais Jr. not out here as he claims he’s got business to take care of.”

The bell sounds and Davis and Shorty Jr. both run towards each other and swing, nailing each other with hard rights and causing both to stumble back. Davis turns back and catches Shorty Jr. with a hard right and then another. Shorty starts to cover up and Davis nails him with a couple of hard rights before grabbing Shorty and going to whip him out of the corner, but Shorty spins through and pulls Davis into his knee. He then nails him with a hard right and then another and another before nailing him with a forearm shiver. Davis stumbles back and Rachel yells into the ring as Shorty Jr. hits another. Davis falls into the corner and Shorty then kicks him in the ribs and then again and again before grabbing Davis and lifting him up. He then spins and throws him down with a hip toss. Davis gets back up and Shorty runs out and clotheslines him down.

Sharper: “Fast and furious action in this match. Both men just going right after each other.”

Kayl: “I thought Shorty Jr. was going to run for the hills. Cut his losses. Focus on Taking Hold of the Flame. He’s taking his lumps here.”

Davis starts to get up and Shorty Jr. grabs him and nails him with a hard right. He then grabs Davis and nails him with a forearm before grabbing him and lifting him up and dropping him with an inverted atomic drop. Davis winces and Shorty then grabs him and pulls him down with a short-arm clothesline before going for the pin while looking right at Rachel.

Davis kicks out. He rolls over and gets up and Rachel just looks at Shorty Jr. as Shorty then grabs him and lifts him up before placing him down on the ropes in front of Rachel. Rachel then grabs the ropes and pulls herself up onto the apron as Shorty Jr. then backs up and smirks. The crowd roars as Rachel motions to enter the ring, but the referee comes over and stops her. Rachel just looks at Shorty Jr. before dropping down. She then lifts her arms as if to calm the referee down as Shorty Jr. then grabs Davis and pulls him up before throwing him back with a back suplex. Davis rolls over, holding his head and Shorty looks over at Rachel.

Dawson: “Shorty Jr. looking right at Rachel Foxx, almost wanting her to get into the ring.”

Kayl: “That would end the match and give Shorty Jr. an opportunity to make another statement.”

Sharper: “But that said, he’s got control in this match. Why risk it? Get the momentum. Get the win. Get the added confidence!”

Kayl: “Do you think he needs more confidence? He came out and basically proverbially smacked Rachel across the face just because he could!”

Shorty Jr. turns around and looks at Davis as he starts to stir and Shorty Jr. grabs him and scoops him up, but Davis manages to block a sidewalks slam attempt and knees Shorty in the head. Davis gets on his feet and snapmares Shorty Jr. over. Shorty Jr. starts to get up and Davis then runs into the ropes and bounces off it before nailing Shorty Jr. with a hard boot to the jaw. The crowd ohs and Shorty Jr. hits the mat. He starts to get up and Davis turns around before walking over and stomping Shorty Jr. in the back before stomping him again and then nailing Shorty Jr. in the back of the head. He then grabs Shorty and pulls him up before nailing him with a hard crossface punch. He yells at Shorty as he lifts him up and hits him with another. Shorty Jr. falls over and Davis walks around the ring before Rachel Foxx just applauds.

Rachel: “Keep it up Justin! You know what to do!”

Davis then runs over and stomps Shorty Jr. in the back of the head. Shorty rolls over and onto the apron.

Kayl: “Rachel just yelling sweet nothings into the ear of Davis.”

Dawson: “I don’t even want to go off that, but Davis just showing that mean streak.”

Kayl: “Told you. He’ll mess you up. Last year this time he was the number one contender to the World Championship. He knows he should be higher up on the card. He’s going to show that tonight.”

Davis then grabs Shorty Jr. and lifts him up. He then nails him with a chop. The crowd woos. He chops him again and the crowd woos again before Davis fires Shorty Jr. into the ropes. Shorty Jr. bounces off the ropes and Davis goes for a clothesline, but Shorty Jr. ducks before bouncing off the top rope before jumping up and nailing him with a flying shoulder tackle. Davis gets back up and Shorty Jr. gets up and kicks him in the ribs before jumping up and driving Davis down with a facebuster. Shorty Jr. then gets up and walks over to the corner. He looks at Davis and smiles before walking over and jumping up for an elbow drop, but Davis rolls out of the way. Shorty Jr. rolls over and gets back up and Davis nails him with an uppercut. Shorty Jr. stumbles back. He turns back and Davis hits a jawbreaker before jumping up and hitting a dropkick. The crowd cheers faintly as Shorty Jr. rolls over and starts to get up. Davis then pulls himself up before motioning for Shorty Jr. to get up.

Sharper: “Davis standing behind Shorty Jr. just waiting for him!”

Kayl: “If I’m Shorty Jr., I close my eyes, grab onto the ropes and hold on for dear life. If not, he’s going to get his face bounced off that canvas!”

Shorty pulls himself up and turns to Davis and Davis kicks him in the ribs. He then hoists him up for the Lip Sealer, but Shorty spins through. He then rolls Davis up into a school boy.

The crowd roars. Davis kicks out right after three. Rachel quickly rolls into the ring and Shorty backs up and rolls out of the ring. He just smirks as he looks up at Rachel. Rachel just lets out a yell of anger as she walks over to the ropes. Davis looks up, unhappy as Shorty Jr. just smiles and starts to back up the rampway. Shorty Jr. laughs as the camera picks up what he’s saying.

Shorty Jr.: “That’s what’s going to happen this Sunday. I may just make you squirm more!”

Rachel just glares at Shorty Jr. as he backs up.

Kayl: “Shorty Jr. steals it.”

Dawson: “But far from the convincing win. He got Davis down, but Rachel Foxx may just be more pissed off.”

Kayl: “But what’s he looking for? A win or to take out Rachel Foxx at her own game.”

Sharper: “He said he was going to go after Rachel as she is the face of the underground. What that means...anyone’s guess!”

Shorty Jr. continues to back away as Rachel and Davis glare at him before we go backstage.

The scene opens up and we see Greg Cherry walk out from the office of Sasha Drachewych. He then turns around and looks at Sasha as she steps out.

Sasha: “Look Greg....why didn’t you tell me of the situation earlier?”

Greg: “Wasn’t in the right frame of mind.”

Sasha: “Should you be competing then?”

Greg: “Need something to distract me...or motivate me I guess.”

Sasha just sighs.

Sasha: “Well...either way....I’ll put you back in Taking Hold of the Flame. But I’d suggest heading to the hotel and giving yourself peace of mind. You’ll want it.”

Greg just looks down.

Greg: “Thanks. Good to know that one of you isn’t a total bastard.”

Sasha: “A genetic trait I was fortunate to avoid.”

Greg: “Thanks.”

Sasha turns and returns to her office, closing the door behind her as Greg Cherry just looks down and smiles. He then takes a deep breath.

Greg: “Still have a chance....”

Greg then turns and walks off as the crowd cheers a bit.

Kayl: “Greg’s back in?”

Sharper: “I guess so. Greg must have done a damn good job making his case.”

Kayl: “And everyone’s chances this Sunday just dipped a bit!”

The scene then fades to black.

Breakdown returns and we see Alex Desoubrais Jr. standing in the parking lot of the Coliseo. The crowd cheers a bit as he paces back and forth, just looking out, seemingly waiting for someone.

Sharper: “I guess that’s the business Alex Desoubrais Jr. had to deal with. He’s waiting for someone in the parking lot.”

Dawson: “Well, I can think of one person in particular he may want to confront.”

Kayl: “If it is....is this really the best night? Or best time?”

Sharper: “Well if he is waiting for CHBK, I don’t expect it to be on the up and up.”

Ace Marshall vs. Red Robberson

The opening guitar riffs of "Rebellion" burst into the arena via the sound system. The audio only grows louder as a small series of pryotechnics explodes on the stage leaving a small plume of smoke, from that smoke, the shadow of a man with a baseball cap emerges from the curtain. Walking out of the smoke blurring the details of the man, Red Robberson, in trademark Confederate Flag print cap being readjusted. With a look of business in his stark blue eyes as he walks down to the ring. Sliding under the bottom rope, and springing quickly to his feet. Tossing the cap off into the crowd. Raising his arms up into the as he backs towards the center of the ring.

Sharper: “Red Robberson has taken his lumps, but the man just keeps coming for more and he’s been taking on some tough guys and coming through.”

Dawson: “He gets that win and it could all turn around for him. And tonight, he’s facing off against Ace Marshall, a man we haven’t seen in a while. He could be rusty and at the end of the day, a win is a win.”

A very quick clip appears with a countdown starting from three starts on the titan tron, flashing between blue and green numbered cards before a very large and loud golden pyro goes off center stage and "Wanted Man" by Rev Theory begins playing. Ace Marshall steps out from the pyro with his arms extended out while twirling to a hateful audience. The crowd begins booing loudly as Ace makes machine gun shots with his hands before casually walking down the ramp as his theme begins to pick up. Reaching the bottom of the ramp he takes a quick step forward before Leaping up onto the apron Ace leaps over the top rope and lands in the ring where he stops in the center and drops to one knee. He raises both arms up with his thumbs extended out pointing to himself, taunting the crowd before each turnbuckle one at a time but in quick progression goes off with more pyro. Each one goes off five times in succession and in order. After the last one Ace jumps up to his feet and cracks his neck before turning toward the stage ready for the match.

Dawson: “Ace Marshall is full of himself, but he’s coming in after several months of just not being in competition.”

Kayl: “That’s great. Seriously, the guy has been lounging around in recent weeks. He’s got a spot in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. He gets a chance to get some momentum, maybe do something. He’s waiting until now to get back into the ring to get that rust off.”

Dawson: “Maybe too little, too late.”

Kayl: “I hope so!”

The bell sounds and Ace Marshall smirks as he walks around before Red Robberson looks at him and Ace then ducks down and goes for the leg of Robberson before Robberson blocks it and grabs Ace and hoists him up before just throwing him back. Ace lands on his feet and Robberson nails him with a hard right and then another. Ace stumbles back. The crowd roars and Robberson headbutts him and Ace falls into the ropes. Robberson then grabs Ace and hip throws him across the ring. Ace gets back up and Robberson then grabs him and nails him with a knee. He then gutwrenches him up, but Ace manages to block it and kicks Red in the face. Ace drops down and Robberson stumbles back. Ace then runs forward and spears Robberson into the corner. He rears back and nails him again. He then backs up and nails Robberson with a hard right. Robberson turns.

Sharper: “Hard shots in the corner. Ace Marshall seeing an opening and now wasting time.”

Dawson: “Ace got one lucky kick and then has just done anything to keep the pressure on.”

Ace then nails him with a chop. The crowd woos. Ace smirks and grabs Robberson and drags him out of the corner in a headlock and nails him in the head with a hard right. He then runs into the ropes and jumps to the middle rope before diving back and dropkicking Robberson in the side of the head. Robberson falls to his knees and Ace pushes him down and goes for the pin.

Robberson kicks out. Ace looks up and grabs Robberson and lifts him up before dragging him to his feet and knees him in the ribs. He then nails him with a hard right before running into the ropes. He bounces off them and jumps up, taking Robberson down with a sitout clothesline. He then gets up and jumps up and hits a knee drop. He then pops up to his feet and throws his arms out in the air as the crowd boos. Ace then runs into the ropes and bounces off the ropes before going back and hitting a lionsault. He then hooks the leg.

Robberson powers out.

Sharper: “Ace hits the moonsault. Not enough to keep down Robberson.”

Kayl: “Well I guess he isn’t rusty. Maybe Katelyn was helping him with training with her passive-aggressiveness!”

Dawson: “They haven’t exactly been friends.”

Kayl: “Maybe that’s why!”

Ace gets up and Robberson rolls over and starts to pull himself up and Ace kicks him in the chest. The crowd boos and Ace smirks. He then turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off them and goes for a dropkick, but Robberson manages to side step him. Ace hits the mat hard and Robberson stomps him in the face. Robberson walks around as Ace rolls over, holding his face in pain. He then gets up and runs at Robberson only for Robberson to lift him up in the air before letting him fall to the mat with a flapjack. Robberson then jumps up and hits a huge splash on the back of Ace. Ace Marshall yells in pain and Robberson looks up. He then rolls him onto his back and goes for the pin.

Ace kicks out. He rolls over and Robberson gets up. He then walks around the ring. Ace pulls himself up and Robberson quickly scoops him up and drops him with a sidewalk slam.

Dawson: “Up and down goes Ace Marshall.”

Sharper: “Sidewalk slam, doing the damage. Robberson now letting Ace almost make his own mistakes.”

Kayl: “Why not? Ace needs to run around to really get something going. Make Ace have to run. Keep the distance and you can just muscle him around. I’m loving this!”

Robberson rolls over and gets up. He then looks at Ace and stomps him in the chest. He backs up and stomps him again. He then grabs the legs of Ace and stomps him in the stomach. Ace rolls over, holding his ribs before Red grabs him and lifts him up by the hair. Ace elbows Robberson, but Robberson clubs him in the back before then just lifting him up and throwing him into the corner. Robberson then nails him with a hard right and then a left and right into the ribs before nailing him a few more times. The referee calls for the break and Robberson looks at the referee momentarily before Ace pokes Robberson in the eyes. He then grabs Robberson and slingshots himself over the top rope and hangs Robberson, throat first into the top rope. Robberson stumbles back and Ace then slides into the ring before running over at Robberson and nailing him with a flying clothesline. The crowd boos and Robberson rolls over in pain.

Sharper: “Ace Marshall nails Robberson. The rake of the eyes starting that.”

Dawson: “He was trapped in the corner and Robberson took his eyes of Ace for just a second. That second was all Ace needed.”

Robberson pulls himself up and Ace walks over and kicks him in the ribs. He then grabs the leg of Robberson, but Robberson counters with a headbutt. Ace stumbles back and turns to the ropes. Robberson runs at Ace and Ace nails him with a back elbow before jumping up to the middle rope and hitting a springboard moonsault before pulling back on the leg.

Robberson kicks out after the three, but the bell sounds and Ace Marshall rolls out of the ring. He hops up and throws his arms in the air as the crowd boos. Robberson rolls over, wincing before starting to realize what happened. Ace just celebrates.

Sharper: “And Ace Marshall manages to just steal this from Robberson!”

Kayl: “He had to have caught Robberson in the head with his knee. Robberson is dazed from that moonsault.”

Dawson: “But a win is a win and Ace Marshall just got a big one.”

Kayl: “Literally too!”

Ace keeps his arms up as he starts to back away up the rampway. He then turns around and starts to walk up the ramp as Robberson starts to pull himself up and looks around before we head backstage.

The scene opens up backstage to see Katie Steward smiling in her locker room as Robin Brooks and Paris Dannon just look on from the back of the room. TJ Johnson stands in front of her.

Johnson: “Ready for another perfect Taking Hold of the Flame season.”

Steward: “Duh. I mean, this is the time of the year where YOUR Goddess proves that she should be the World Champion already. I don’t need to waste my time with that blonde bitch, Syren. I don’t need to worry about people who want MY destiny like Rachel Foxx or Christy Matthews. I just have to worry about showing the world why I am better than them and luckily for me, that just comes so naturally!”

Katie smiles as the crowd boos.

Katie: “And tonight, I get to face off against Lucas Knight. Maybe he won’t even show. Who knows? Who cares? I already am clearly better than him. Better World Champion. Better Looking for sure. And more beloved. And I’m going to now hold a win over him and crush his little hopes and dreams of the Rise to Greatness main event.”

Johnson: “Well totally. I mean, after he loses to you, he’ll probably just drop out of the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal.”

Katie: “I’m surprised Robberson and Cherry haven’t already.”

Katie just shakes her head.

Katie: “Some people never learn.”

Johnson: “In any case, you’ll teach them, whether they like it or not.”

Katie: “Oh yes. Oh yes!”

Katie just smiles as the crowd continues to boo. The boos continue for a moment before the scene changes.

We then see a shot of David Helms walking down the hallway on the left side of the screen as we then see Masquerade walking on the right side of the screen down another hallway. The crowd cheers upon seeing them as “Rescue Me” is heard in the background.

Sharper: “Well this match was made earlier tonight. Helms challenged Masquerade to show Shilo Valiant how focused he is. That match is going to be next.”

Kayl: “And this is going to be awesome.”

We watch both continue to walk down the hallway for a moment longer before the scene fades to black.

David Helms vs. Masquerade

The guitar riffs bring the fans to their feet. The titantron shows several masks flying around before crashing into one another and making the word, Masquerade. We then see the man himself standing there posing. The camera does 360 around him while he looks up with his arms out slightly, palms turned out. his hands holding several different masks. The name he bears goes around him in the back ground, and suddenly there is a flash followed by clips of Masquerade beating people up in the ring and him laughing and in gothic background while he tries on different masks, still laughing out loud. These shots get faster as the music picks up. When the vocals start it goes back to utter black out and then the name ‘Masquerade’ flashes like a pulse.

We got the fire
Whose got the matches?
Take a look around at the sea of masks.
Come one Come all
Welcome to the grand ball
Where the strong run for cover and the weak stand tall.

The titantron shows more model like slow motion shots of the good looking yet deranged stranger as well as several clips of Karnivale celebrating with titles and victories. From the ramp, a pedestal opens and rising slowly as if in slow motion, with the wind blowing in his face, is Masquerade. His back is to the audience and his arms are out at different angles, holding several different masks. Behind him we see the fireworks go off showing an actual arrangement pattern in the shape of a mask. THe fans, meanwhile, hold up their own masks. Masquerade holds his head down slightly while the wind blows. His vest is undone so the camera picks up his build quite easily. As he poses for the camera, he waits till he hears...

Welcome to the Masquerade

He turns slowly one eighty for the audience, before tossing his masks aside. They cause a few cool explosions when they land. Masquerade then walks down the ramp, waiting a second before running and sliding into the ring. He lies on his back and puts his hands up and lowers them over his face to take off his last mask as the vocals go 'I'm not afraid... I'm ashamed... I'm not ok... Welcome to the Masquerade!'

Masquerade kips up and slowly takes off his trenchcoat, tossing it out of the ring, and lets his vest fall a bit so he can show off. He then does it up and goes to rest on the turnbuckle, his legs up. While he waits for his opponent to enter the ring, he takes his mask and tosses it out to a lucky fan in the audience.

Welcome to the Masquerade...

The music cuts and the fans roar!

Sharper: “David Helms challenged Masquerade earlier and Masquerade was up to the challenge.”

Dawson: “Why not? You get a chance to face the Number One Contender just before he face the champion...and the champion is your tag partner!”

WHEN DID YOU LAST MAKE A CHOICE THAT HAD A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON YOUR LIFE?

The words flash up on the screen as the arena lights cut out completely, plunging the room into darkness. The sounds of a thunder storm echo around the arena as the crowd view the large screens either side of the entrance way.

WHAT IF THAT CHOICE ISOLATED YOU FROM EVERYONE THAT YOU HELD DEAR, WOULD YOU BUCKLE UNDER THE PRESSURE?

The room is electric as the sound of thunder continues to roll through the arena, whipping the crowd into a wild frenzy.

WOULD YOU DO THE RIGHT THING OR WOULD YOU TOW THE LINE LIKE THE REST OF THE CROWD?

As the thunder storm rolls to a crescendo the entire stage lights up with brilliant bright light in time with the final crack of lightning. The opening riff from a remixed version of “All I Want” by A Day To Remember hits the pa system as the crowd realise that David Helms is now stood on the stage; only his silhouette viewable as a result of the blinding white light shining from behind him. As the intro draws to a close, Helms throws his arms into the air, his hands held together in the Self High Five.

“ALL I WANT IS A PLACE TO CALL MY OWN
TO MEND THE HEARTS OF EVERYONE WHO FEELS ALONE
WOAH; YOU KNOW TO KEEP YOUR HOPES UP HIGH
BUT YOU HEAD DOWN LOW!”

The intro gives way to the chorus of the song, the lyrics of which flash up on the screen, as Helms jumps in the air, breaking his hands apart. As he lands, fireworks erupt on either side of the stage before the arena’s lights come back on and we see Helms properly for the first time, wearing his ring gear and a red Boston Red Sox baseball jersey. Kathryn Helms, who was stood directly behind her husband, holds her hands in the Self High Five before slowly breaking them apart herself and smiling.

Helms begins to walk down the ramp; hiving fiving with fans as he makes his way to the ring. As he gets to the apron, Helms slides under the rope and runs over to the nearest ring post where he jumps up onto the second turnbuckle and throws his arms out wide on either side. As Kathryn climbs up onto the ring apron, the crowd are going completely nuts for Helms, the self professed Last Shadow of Hope, who drops down from the ring post and runs across to the opposite side, once again climbing to the second turnbuckle. Hitting the self high five one last time, Helms jumps into the air and lands in the middle of the ring before walking over to the side of the ring where he wife leans on the ropes. Kathryn kisses her husband before dropping down to the outside, leaving Helms to remove the Red Sox jersey before tossing it to the outside and leaning back on the ropes to wait for the start of the match.

Kayl: “And David Helms has had a very rough month to say the least.”

Sharper: “But he just wants to give it his all this Sunday and his friends are giving him the opportunity to hopefully do just that.”

Dawson: “Of course, Thorn, Gable Winchester and Stacy Kissinger will face Ravyn Taylor, Syren and Holly Adams in a six person tag match. And in Lucas Knight, Ryan Watson and Christy Matthews have their own concerns with the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal.”

The crowd starts to roar as the referee checks to make sure they are both ready before suddenly the arena’s lights dim down with a crimson hue, then without warning we see black and white footage spring to life on the screen of Winston Churchill giving one of his most famous speeches all the while the chilling sound of air raid sirens and war can be heard in the background...

"We shall fight on the beaches. We shall fight on the landing grounds. We shall fight in the fields, and in the streets. We shall fight in the hills. We shall NEVER surrender!"

The video suddenly burns away to reveal a second hidden image of the devious ex-president George H. W. Bush giving a speech of his own...

"When we are successful, and we will be, we'll have a real chance at this new world order..."

“Indestructible” By Disturbed hits over the P.A system causing the crowd to erupt into a sea of boos as they know who is about to make their presence felt tonight. With spotlights lighting the stage area the curtains part as Lucas Knight makes his way out on to the stage quickly joined by Ryan Watson and Christy Matthews. The trio part as Ravyn Taylor and Syren join them on the stage alongside valet Autumn Valentine. The “Dark Fantasy” duo stand back to back while Autumn Valentine ducks down in front of them, posing for the crowd for a few seconds to a chorus of boos.

Sharper: “Oh come on. Infamous joining us here.”

Dawson: “And it’s two against eight!”

Kayl: “And look who’s not here! CHBK! Alex Desoubrais Jr. just got happy!”

Ravyn Taylor just smiles as she then steps forward with microphone in her hand.

Ravyn: “Oh David. Is this now how pathetic you are getting? For someone who has always claimed to do the right thing, you’re now coming out here and talking about how you care what Shilo Valiant thinks? Awww...not feeling the most popular? Having to actually make tough decisions. And now trying to play a pissing contest with Shilo by trying to beat Masquerade like he did two weeks ago on this show?”

The crowd boos as Ravyn Taylor just smiles.

Ravyn: “My how the mighty have fallen. One little video....one video causes your entire life to unravel. All of your beliefs to fall apart and show themselves to be the fakes that we, Infamous, know them to be. Just like Thorn, just like Gable...just like Stacy...all of whom have ripped off the facades of their pasts in the last year. ALL of them showing themselves to be like Harmony Fisher...the only one that actually is showing her true face....a cheap-shot artists....a whiny bitch looking to get ahead and just keep up with the truly dominant.”

The boos continue as Masquerade and Helms both look to Ravyn.

Ravyn: “So David...don’t worry. We decided to come out here en masse and help you help yourself. Because David, it’s almost becoming too easy to come out here and just tear down EVERY fiber of your non-existent facade that you’ve put up. So instead of letting you come out here and face Masquerade and making both of you look like idiots. We figured, we stop this match from happening....and you can then show in a far more obvious light how much more focused you are on Shilo Valiant than, let’s say....us?”

Ravyn Taylor smirks as she then takes a step forward before we then see Harmony Fisher run up behind Infamous with a steel chair. She quickly nails Lucas Knight from behind and he drops down to his knees before she turns and nails Autumn Valentine in the head. She falls to the rampway as the crowd erupts in cheers. Harmony then turns as Ryan Watson runs at Harmony and nails her with a running boot to the face. Harmony falls over and Watson then dives on top of Harmony and hammers away at her. We then see Thorn run out from the back, followed by Gable Winchester and finally Stacy Kissinger. The crowd starts to go nuts as we see Thorn run over and Ravyn Taylor turns around with Syren. Helms and Masquerade look to each other as Thorn kicks Pete Ebdon in the ribs and Gable Winchester and Stacy Kissinger run over to Christy Matthews and Holly Adams. Adams and Stacy start to trade blows as Gable and Christy grapple. Helms and Masquerade then drop down and run towards Syren and Ravyn and Ravyn quickly turns and starts to fight her way through the mass of people. Syren turns and Masquerade nails her with a clothesline. The crowd explodes with cheers at this point. Thorn kicks Ebdon again and he then grabs the steel chair. Ebdon retreats back as does Ravyn Taylor. She then steps forward as Helms turns and stops Masquerade from going after Syren more. Syren turns and starts to get up as Lucas and Autumn stir. Ryan Watson tries to help Autumn, but he quickly finds himself low blowed by Harmony. The crowd roars as Watson falls back and rolls over. Gable and Kissinger push Christy and Holly away. Holly tries to come back at Stacy and both nail each other before we see several officials come out and aid in the breaking up. The crowd boos as a “Let Them Fight” chant begins to echo through the arena. The boos continue and Thorn then looks at Harmony as Harmony grabs Ryan Watson and looks at him. She then turns and grabs him before turning and running to the ring and rolling him in. She then slides in and Helms and Thorn turn and run into the ring. Masquerade turns and smirks as he just stands looking at Infamous as Infamous just watches. Gable and Stacy then look at them before Stacy turns to Gable and then runs to the ring too, grabbing the microphone Ravyn had on the way. She then slides in as Gable and Masquerade actually look to each other and glare at Infamous. The officials stand between the two.

Sharper: “Infamous is being held back by the officials as Ryan Watson is in the ring with Harmony Fisher, Thorn and Helms.”

Dawson: “And Kissinger too.”

Helms goes to stop Harmony and Harmony just holds him by the hair. Watson yells out and she turns to Helms and looks at him. Thorn then turns to Helms and tells him to back up. Thorn walks over and tells him something to which Helms just shrugs before closing his eyes and covering his ears. Harmony then smirks before she lifts Watson up and kicks him in between the legs. Kissinger meanwhile climbs up to the top rope as Ravyn Taylor actually smirks as Lucas Knight and Pete Ebdon look a bit more concerned. Thorn then drops Watson with the Griever’s Bane getting huge cheers from the crowd.

Kayl: “Griever’s Bane!”

Dawson: “Ryan Watson has been almost like a mosquito in recent weeks. They may not have gotten Holly. They may not be getting Syren or Ravyn. But they’re getting Ryan Watson!”

Sharper: “He wanted to be Infamous!”

Kissinger then looks at Ravyn, but more specifically Christy and Lucas.

Kissinger: “I know I said I’d be takin’ ya both out before Takin’ Hold of tha Flame...but I’ll take what I can get at this point!”

Kissinger then dives off and hits the High Note right into the heart of Ryan Watson. Watson rolls over, holding his chest in pain as Masquerade and Winchester just look on. Thorn then walks over to Helms and taps him on the shoulder. Helms turns around, opening his eyes and ears before looking at Watson, holding his chest in pain. Helms just shakes his head and smirks as “All I Want” plays throughout the arena. The crowd cheers as Helms then looks up at the entrance way to see Infamous just looking down.

Sharper: “Oh man. Ryan Watson getting the point of that all!”

Kayl: “That was a horrible joke.”

Sharper: “In any case, Harmony Fisher leading the charge of all people and maybe this crew may be willing to bend the rules a bit.”

Kayl: “Hey. Infamous started the all out war. They just continued it.”

Dawson: “But Fisher provoked it.”

Sharper: “In any case, this whole matter may be heating up. They just hate each other and Ryan Watson just got a bit of that frustration taken out on him. He may think twice before next getting involved. But Ravyn, Syren and Holly may have to deal with some very focused enemies this Sunday!”

Dawson: “Yeah, but what may they have in store...Ravyn was smiling. I don’t like that!”

Sharper: “In any case, it’s nice to see the Next Level get one over Infamous finally!”

The crowd continues to cheer as the two sides continue to stare each other down. The camera keeps showing both sides for a few moments longer before the scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns and we see Dillusion in the boiler room. He continues to just look down before we see another shadow come in front of it and then another jump out from behind the other.

Ducky: “BRITTANY!”

Dillusion looks over as Hallucigen takes a few steps.

Hallucigen: “Um....I brought you a Mars Bar.”

Dillusion turns back and looks at the floor. Hallucigen just looks at him as Ducky looks around, leaning over things before turning back and looking at Dillusion and waving frantically.

Ducky: “HI Dilly!”

Dillusion just looks up and gives a half-hearted smile.

Hallucigen: “Um...I think you want to be alone. You do what to be alone. Why did I think this would be a good idea? Oh God, this is going to be bad.”

Ducky: “Do you want us here? I promise we’ll be good! I can even sing to entertain you!”

Ducky then clears her throat.

Ducky: “JOOOO-DAYS! JOO-JOO-DAYS! JOO-DAYS...”

Hallucigen just puts his palm over his face before we hear Dillusion’s theme music. Hallucigen then suddenly reaches into his back pocket.

Hallucigen: “Oh...I need to take this...”

Hallucigen turns and walks off as Ducky then looks at Dillusion.

Ducky: “Are you okay? HELLO!”

Dillusion: “I’m fine. I just need some alone time.”

Ducky: “Do you need Kleenex?”

Dillusion just looks at her oddly.

Ducky: “What? I was told you need Kleenex if you’re alone. If you want to cry or something! I don’t know.”

Ducky shrugs.

Dillusion: “How about I just give you a bit of an assignment?”

Ducky: “Like a super special Dilly apprentice assignment?!”

Dillusion: “Yes.”

Ducky: “Okay!”

Ducky jumps up and down excitedly.

Dillusion: “Make sure no one bothers me until I get rid of Josh Hudson.”

Ducky: “Even me?”

Dillusion: “Including you.”

Ducky: “Otay!”

Hallucigen starts to come back and Ducky then turns and smacks him.

Ducky: “LEAVE NOW!”

Ducky then turns to Dillusion.

Ducky: “Am I doing good?”

Dillusion just nods before Ducky jumps up and grabs Hallucigen’s arm and starts to drag him out.

Hallucigen: “Hey...wait...Wha?!”

Hallucigen is dragged out as Dillusion just looks back down at the floor and we head back to ringside.

Lucas Knight vs. Katie Steward

Out go the lights with a flick of the switch sending the arena into complete darkness, soon after a sole crimson spotlight hit’s the stage entrance as an infamous quote from Al Pacino hit’s the P.A System along with the opening rift to Redefine by SOiL while the silhouette's of two men can be seen walking onto the stage area.

“YOU THINK YOUR BIG TIME?”

“YOU’RE GONNA DIE BIG TIME!”

“YOU READY? HERE COMES THE PAIN!”

With a boom pyrotechnics’ explodes and with it Redefine by SOiL kicks into full gear as the lights now come back on and standing on stage once the smoke settles is Lucas Knight decked out in his wrestling attire and a focused look in his eyes, standing alongside him is his friend, mentor and fellow Order of Chaos founder and Infamous advisor Pete Ebdon.

The crowd erupts with a tirade of boo’s as Lucas just confidently begins to walk towards the ring without even a care in the world as Ebdon follows with a smirk on his face. Lucas stops mid drift to talk trash to random fans who obviously say something which caught his attention but he laughs afterwards and continues on with encouragement by Ebdon. Once he reaches the bottom of the ramp Lucas leaps up onto the apron and climbs into the ring via the middle ropes and extends his arms as the crowd’s ire towards him grows louder and louder, Ebdon however begins to walk around the ring receiving various taunts from the crowd which he ignores. In the ring Lucas then begins to remove his jacket and hang's it over the steel ring post in his corner before kneeling down and talking to Ebdon about something, one can only assume a strategy for the match...

Sharper: “Well we just saw Lucas Knight moments ago as Infamous made their presence known against Masquerade and the number one contender David Helms.”

Kayl: “Yeah. Thankfully Thorn, Gable Winchester and Stacy Kissinger were around. Harmony Fisher too. Infamous needs to be stopped and this is just getting ridiculous.”

Sharper: “Well in any case, Lucas Knight now in action. One has to wonder if we’re going to see that spill over here.”

Dawson: “If you talk to Helms or Thorn, you can say for certain that won’t happen. They like to get it done in the ring. They don’t want those cheap shots!”

I'm not cocky
I just love myself
Bitch!

As the lights in the arena begin to dim, the whimsical voice of Katie Steward is heard giggling as “Vanity” by Christina Aguilera plays on the speaker system.

Bright pink spot lights swirl around the arena as varies images of Katie Steward are captured on the video screen. This beautiful display encourages and prompts her fan base to jump out of their seats and start booing for their Goddess.

Plush ruby red carpet is rolled down the aisle way just as Katie Steward emerges from behind the curtains. Miss Steward is all decked out wearing her long white coat and a stunning diamond studded tiara rests on her beautiful blonde hair curls. Katie produces her famous smiles for the live audience. Multiple flash bulbs can be seen as the cameras snatch as many and every pose she graces them with.

The song wind down, but continues to play in a low tone; Katie starts her walk down the ramp to ringside. TJ Johnson exists from behind the curtain and follows his Goddess. Once she reaches ringside, Katie folds her arms over chest and looks back over her shoulder at TJ Johnson waiting for him to do his job. When he sees that “look”, he immediately runs past her and enters into the ring. He signals for the microphone from the ring announcer and when he hesitates, T.J. snatches it from his hand.

Next T.J. excitedly waves everyone out of the ring. All the while Katie was fixing her hair at ringside ignoring what T.J. was doing. She walks over to the steel ring step and awaits her introduction.

Mirror, mirror on the wall
They call me stuck up, but I'm not at all
Never mind, I am (I am)
It's not my fault I'm the shit
Yeah I am
And I'm a bad ass bitch (hey!)

The camera’s view returns to Katie Steward as she stands at ringside fixing her coat. She looks up spreads her arms out wide and smiles the Famous smile for her glorious introduction as some of the fans have already begun to boo her and show how much they dislike and disrespect for her.

TJ Johnson: And finally, the reason why we have all come here tonight… She is The Queen of Queens, The Goddess of Desire, The SCW’s own Crown Jewel. Get your cameras and video recorders ready for… KATIE STEWARD….

Katie gracefully walks up the steel ring steps and onto the apron. She bends down enters the rings between the middle ropes that T.J. holds down for her. She walks over to the opposite corner and climbs onto the ropes. She takes off her lovely coat revealing her beautiful wrestling attire. Many in the crowd start to take snap shots of their Goddess. Katie jumps down and walks to the other corner to pose and climbs up on the middle ropes just as the lighting returns to normal and the music dies. Katie does one last pose for the fans then she jumps down and walks towards T.J.

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who's the flyest of them all
It's me, bow down get on your knees
Where's my queens?
Who reigns supreme?
Let me hear you scream
Whooo!

TJ Johnson smiles down at Katie, before bowing slightly. He takes the microphone and joins the announcing team for some unbiased journalism.

Kayl: “Oh no you don’t! Shoo! Get out of here TJ! We don’t like you!”

Johnson meanwhile grabs the headset.

Dawson: “It was a good effort.”

Johnson: “I am here for the people! The people need to hear UN-biased journalism. Unlike what you three spew.”

Sharper: “Well in any case, Lucas Knight and Katie Steward both are in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal this Sunday. Katie Steward has been on a tear as of late.”

Johnson: “This is her season. This is when she does more than rise to the occasion.”

Kayl: “Yeah, well, I hate them both. The fans likely hate them both. So maybe we should just launch tomatoes at the ring!”

Johnson: “That’s exactly why you need me here!”

Kayl: “I said I hate them both. So the biasedness will be unbiased!”

The bell sounds as Katie Steward looks to Lucas Knight. Knight starts to move towards her and Katie just spins around before Lucas lunges. Katie backs up to the ropes and Lucas throws his arms up. Katie tells him to stay back and the referee steps in. Katie straightens out her bangs before walking along the ring and Lucas goes back towards her. Katie grabs the ropes again and tells the referee to get him back. Lucas then shakes his head and goes again and Katie grabs at the ropes. Lucas finally just reaches over and grabs Katie by the hair. The crowd roars as Katie shrieks and Lucas spins her around only for Katie to blast him with a hard forearm and then another. Lucas stumbles back and Katie nails him with a hard forearm. She then nails him with a hard right and Lucas turns away only for Katie to kick him in the thigh. She then kicks him in the ribs before clubbing him in the back. She then whips him into the ropes. Lucas bounces off the ropes and Katie jumps up and dropkicks him down. Lucas rolls over and Katie gets up and poses for the crowd.

Johnson: “Picture PERFECT dropkick. Can’t get any better than that.”

Dawson: “Lucas holding his jaw. Lucas wanted to get off to a hot start, but Katie took advantage of that aggressiveness and has entirely turned that around.”

Kayl: “Well Lucas needs to look out. Do that this Sunday and he may find himself flying over the top rope.”

Lucas starts to get up and Katie turns and grabs him before nailing him with another forearm. Katie then drags him up and Katie kicks him in the ribs. She then hooks his arm and goes for a suplex, but Lucas blocks it. Lucas then nails her with a hard right to the ribs and then another before lifting Katie up, letting out a yell and throwing her down chest first to the mat. Katie pops up, in pain and Lucas grabs her and nails her with a hard right and Katie falls back to the ropes. Lucas follows her and Katie quickly rakes his eyes. Lucas turns back and Katie grabs him only for Lucas to rake her eyes. He then grabs her and pushes her into the corner before driving his knee into the ribs of Katie. He rears back and knees her again and Katie winces. Lucas then grabs her and smirks before pulling her out of the corner and drills her with a short-arm clothesline. The crowd boos, while many cheer. Katie rolls over in pain and Lucas rolls her back over before going for the pin.

Katie kicks out and rolls over. Lucas looks up before getting up to his feet.

Sharper: “Lucas going for the pin. Smart move there. You never know what will do it.”

Dawson: “Yeah, but Katie Steward is near the ropes. She’s been staying close to them.”

Johnson: “She’s always thinking ahead.”

Kayl: “So what? This Sunday, is she going to grab onto the bottom rope and hold for dear life?”

Johnson: “If that’s what she needs to do, she’ll do it.”

Lucas turns and grabs Katie and lifts her up. She tries to rip herself away, but Lucas nails her with a clubbing blow to the back. Lucas then whips Katie across the ring and into the corner. Katie hits hard. Lucas runs after her and nails her with a running clothesline. The crowd ohs and Katie steps forward before falling back to the corner in a seated position. Lucas then backs up and smirks before walking along the ropes and then turning around and running at Katie and nailing her with a running knee. The crowd ohs and Katie falls onto the ropes. Lucas then grabs her by the leg and drags her out before going for the pin.

Katie shoots her shoulder up. Lucas looks up and grabs Katie and grabs her in a reverse chinlock before looking out. Ebdon yells something at Lucas and Lucas then turns and moves her into a dragon sleeper like move only to then drive his elbow into the ribs of Katie. He then nails her again and Katie winces. She then manages to turn over and Lucas holds on as he gets up with her. Lucas holds on and Katie nails him in the ribs. Lucas holds on and Katie nails him again and Lucas drives his knee into the chest. He then turns and runs into the ropes and bounces off them and Katie jumps forward and nails him with a spinning heel kick. Lucas rolls over, holding his jaw and starts to get up. He gets to his feet and runs at Katie and Katie drops down and takes him down with a drop toe hold. Lucas yells out and Katie then gets up and Lucas turns only for Katie to hit a dropkick to his head. Lucas rolls over in pain.

Sharper: “Hard dropkick. Katie Steward has not been able to get much in terms of high-impact, but her striking has gotten it done so far.”

Dawson: “Turning things around for her. Lucas tried to hold on.”

Johnson: “She’s a veteran. She’s been in there with the best. Hell, she should be a former World Champion had she not been screwed. None of this is surprising!”

Lucas starts to get up and Katie gets up and grabs him from behind before pulling him down with a reverse DDT. The crowd boos and Katie goes for the pin.

1!

Lucas kicks out. He rolls over and Katie gets up. She then stomps him in the face before the ribs and then grabbing Lucas and lifting him up. She then spins him around and throws him face first into the top turnbuckle. Lucas turns around and Katie kicks him in the ribs and then again and again before Lucas nearly gets to a seated position and Katie then presses down on the throat of Lucas, choking him. The referee comes in and calls for the break.

Katie pulls off and turns away. Lucas looks up and starts to slowly stir. Katie then stomps him in the head and grabs him and lifts him up. She then grabs him by the head for a DDT, but Lucas spins out and then pulls Katie in before dropping her with the Hail Britannia. Lucas then gets to his knees and looks out.

Sharper: “Hail Britannia. And Katie’s back may have been rearranged thanks to that move!”

Kayl: “Yeah and note we don’t hear the screaming. Maybe it paralyzed her voice box!”

Johnson: “Oh shush you!”

Katie rolls over and starts to stir and Lucas turns and grabs her. He hoists her up before scooping him up and scoop slamming her down. Lucas then grabs her and goes for the UKOD. Katie, however, blocks it and manages to spin around before spearing Lucas into the corner. He winces as Katie then reaches up and nails Lucas with a hard forearm. She then goes to whip him across the ring, only to stop him and pull him back before kicking him in the ribs. She sets up for the Save the Queen, but Lucas counters with a back drop. Katie rolls over and gets up and Lucas kicks her in the ribs before spinning her around and setting up for the UKOD. The crowd roars and TJ Johnson suddenly drops the headset and runs over to the ring. He then reaches under the ropes and goes for the leg of Lucas. Lucas looks back as Pete Ebdon starts to walk around the ring. Lucas however pulls TJ into the ring by kicking his leg forward. TJ gets into the ring and Lucas pushes Katie away before grabbing TJ and TJ reaches up and digs his hands into the face of Lucas. The referee calls for the bell as Lucas nails TJ with a hard right, knocking him through the ropes. The crowd cheers. Lucas then turns around and Katie kicks him in the ribs before dropping him with a DDT. She then rolls over and looks up at the referee before going for the pin. The referee however informs her that she’s been disqualified!

Sharper: “And Katie Steward has been disqualified thanks to TJ Johnson!”

Kayl: “I don’t think TJ expected Lucas to pull him into the ring like that!”

Dawson: “But Lucas got Katie disqualified as a result. TJ went for the eyes and that led to the disqualification!”

Sharper: “Katie’s perfect record heading into Taking Hold of the Flame is no longer!”

Dawson: “But does she look like a loser!”

Lucas stirs and Katie gets up and starts to yell at the referee. TJ Johnson stirs and Pete Ebdon hops onto the apron. He then enters the ring as Katie turns and looks at him. Lucas starts to get up and Katie just continues to look at Ebdon as Ebdon stands in the ring. Lucas then gets up and runs at Katie and Katie backs up and exits the ring quickly. She then backs away. Lucas then holds his head as Ebdon walks over to Lucas. The crowd just boos as Katie Steward starts to yell at Lucas from ringside. Lucas just holds his head and mutters to himself as the scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns and we see Alex Desoubrais Jr. still waiting outside in the parking lot. We then see a limousine pulling up to the arena and Alex Desoubrais Jr. walks forward before stopping and waiting. He then looks at the limousine as the door opens even before the limo comes to a stop. We then see a foot step out before CHBK stands up from inside the limousine.

CHBK: “Jim...you don’t need to bother getting out. I’ll see you at the later.”

CHBK then moves away from the door before closing it and looking at his son.

CHBK: “So Alex...how long have you been waiting for me?”

Alex Jr.: “Not that long. In fact, I’m not going to take too much of your time either.”

Alex Jr. starts to move forward and goes for a hard right, but CHBK blocks and locks his arm underneath his arm.

CHBK: “That’s the best you’re going to do. Really? You’ve been waiting for four weeks before getting back at me about what I did at Riding the Lightning. I gave you what you wanted?”

Alex Jr.: “No you didn’t.”

CHBK: “Oh I did. I gave you ten minutes with me and you got to take care of some of your frustrations.”

CHBK then pushes Alex Jr. back and Alex Jr. stumbles back before catching his footing and turning back. He starts to move forward.

Ebdon: “You may want to hold off there Alex.”

CHBK smirks as Alex Desoubrais Jr. turns back around. Ravyn Taylor then walks out with Pete Ebdon, who has Lucas Knight holding his head in pain.

Ebdon: “Figured we’d come by before heading back to the locker room.

CHBK: “Just having a chat with my son.”

Alex Jr.: “Screw you.”

CHBK: “You know Alex....you really should look in the mirror. You’d maybe figure out why I ride you so hard. It’s why I ride them hard. The only other difference is that we work as a team whereas you work alone. Maybe want to take a page out of that book one day.”

CHBK then takes a few steps towards Ravyn Taylor.

CHBK: “Now I hear we had some trouble earlier.”

Ravyn: “Nothing too major. Ryan just got his ass handed to him.”

CHBK: “Well good....every kid needs to get his ass kicked every once and while.”

CHBK then walks off wrapping his arm around Ravyn as Alex Desoubrais Jr. glares. We then head back to ringside.

The scene opens up at ringside and before the lights dim and a hush comes over the audience. The big screen suddenly goes static and this static starts to form a shape that all the audience recognizes. The audience boo as they recognize the face of Jason Zero. The face smiles before saying.

The Kingdom Of Old Is Dead.
The Order Has Fallen.
Now Is The Rise Of A New Kingdom
Of Chaos

The familiar electric guitar starts playing Crush 40’s “Knight of the Wind” while some fan of the proclaimed Crusader of Chaos holds up their lighters as a trap door opens from the stage ramp.

Wooaaah, Woooooah

Slowly, a large glass orb and two metal towers rise. We can see the silhouette of a man kneeling in that orb. As the lyrics start, he slowly rises out stretching his arms at a 45 degree angle.

Hey all (Hey all)
Welcome to the greatest storm.
I know, I know.
You have waited much too long
And I (And I)
I will be your shining star.
I’m here (I’m here)
You Better conquer fear or run!

Suddenly the two metal towers spring to life shooting bright purple and pink electricity at the orb. The man inside does not shy from this and within a few seconds the orb implodes, collapsing all around, leaving the man inside standing, exposed. Standing there is Jason Zero, his head to the sky, his eyes closed.

Like a sword, I'm brought
Into the heat of the day
Like a knight, I'll fight
Until the fight is won

In the reign, I save
Each and every
Each and every
Each and everyone
'Till this war is won

Zero looks around as the crowd boos. He gives a grin before running down the ramp and then he slides inside it. He hops to the turnbuckle, reaching out with his arms and looking to the heavens.

And I'm meant to rule
By the sword
Slashing through the every inch of the power
The power in you

As I sit
As I stand
By chaos will I command
My kingdom

I'm a knight of the wind

The crowd boos as he then drops down and the music fades out as he walks over to Jason Phillips and is handed a microphone. Zero just smiles as he walks around the ring. The boos continue.

Sharper: “Jason Zero coming out here and who knows what may be on his mind.”

Kayl: “Two things. The World Championship and CHBK.”

Dawson: “Well, he’s going to share some more thoughts. I’m sure he’s got something to tell the world.”

Zero looks around before stopping and smiling as he brings the microphone to his mouth.

Zero: “It’s good to see that Alex is still turning away challenges. I guess I should be glad it’s not just me. It’s not like I would take that personally. But perhaps it’s more because I know that eventually he will come around to just agreeing to face me as he just loves trying to take me out. That and it really would be his destiny to meet his demise at my hands.”

Zero smiles as the crowd boos a bit, while there are some cheers.

Zero: “But the fact remains that right now, for once, I’m going to be honest. CHBK is not what I’m worrying about. Alex, he can occupy my career goals on other dates, but this week, there is something far more impressive, something far more important that his demise and that is the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. The night where one man gets their opportunity to headline Rise to Greatness....that feat I’ve already done and I intend to do again this year. See, a lot of people may not like that I shoot for the stars, but I could go for having CHBK lined up for me....or taking back the World Championship and leading this company as it’s figurehead once more and for the eighth time!”

The crowd boos as Zero looks around and smiles.

Zero: “For there are fakes and frauds, there are arrogant men and women...and there are whiners who hope they can get noticed and get ahead. But for me. I am the anti-hero of time. I am the man that has been sent to remove them all and move forward and Alex...I hope you are watching because it will be noted that this Sunday-“

Just then the lights go out and we hear the sound of a beating heart. The beating gets gradually louder and louder before we then hear the sound of a heart monitor in the background. The beating and the beeping continue before we see the line of the heart monitor show up and move with the beats and beeps before then suddenly stopping and the lights return. The crowd buzzes before starting to boo and Jason Zero looks around annoying.

Dawson: “What the hell was that?”

Kayl: “The pulse of the show slowly dying with Zero droning on.”

Zero looks around for a moment.

Zero: “Well whatever that was....before they rudely interrupted, I was going to make it clear that I was going to take the ONE accolade that CHBK has over me and add it to MY impressive list of accolades and that is victory in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal-“

Kayl: “Alright. That’s it.”

Kayl’s voice booms throughout the arena. Zero turns and glares at the SCW commentator as Kayl stands up at the announce table.

Dawson: “What are you doing?”

Kayl: “Zero, I’m sick of hearing the same thing. Now I know I’m not going to be able to get you in the ring again. Perhaps I don’t want to. I’d probably start drooling from brain damage and hearing you speak!”

The crowd roars, cheering for Donovan Kayl.

Kayl: “But there is one thing I can do. For months we’ve heard about how you wanted CHBK all to yourself. You have the chance to do that RIGHT NOW. You are so confident about it. You’re so confident you can get him to face you, but you’re now suddenly focusing on the World Championship. And since you’re making everyone get out of your way for one, I’m going to make sure you make it worth it to us that have pushed aside for your ego!”

The crowd roars further.

Zero: “Donovan...I’ve already humiliated you in front of the world and proven that you don’t deserve to be in the ring with Alex-“

Kayl: “That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m going to make sure if you do make it to Rise to Greatness, it’s to face Alex Desoubrais and NOT for the World Championship. Consider this my formal entry into the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal! And I’m going to do one thing....and that’s throw your ass over the top rope!”

The crowd roars.

Dawson: “Donovan!”

Zero just smirks.

Zero: “Donovan....good luck....because they say these things are about motivation and desire....who’s desire do you think is more!”

The crowd buzzes as “Knight of the Wind” plays throughout the arena. The crowd boos for Zero as Kayl just glares at him.

Sharper: “Kayl?! You’re entering the battle royal.”

Kayl: “To knock him out! Gladly!”

Kayl sits down as Zero just smirks before starting to make his exit from the ring. He then drops down to the floor and walks towards the back and we go backstage.

The scene opens up once again to the E.P.I.C. lemonade stand backstage, and this time James Exeter—“The Cardinal”—is pacing with his hands on his hips.

The Cardinal: “Where is he?! Our first mission is in five minutes!”

On cue, Matt Hodges walks around the corner with a beaming grin on his face, a hickey on his neck and his hair a dishevelled mess. James notices him quickly.

The Cardinal: “MATT-MAN! YOU’RE SO LATE! I’ve been passing out fliers all night! Our mission is in five minutes! Where have you been?!”

Hodges stops to think about this for a second, and grins.

Matt-man: “I was with a fine bitty with some D-S-L.”

He walks right past James, who just looks bewildered.

The Cardinal: “…Well you could’ve called! And I don’t know what your obsession is with high speed internet! I have a smart-phone! It has 4 G’s!”

Exeter sighs and follows his friend as the scene comes to a close.

Sharper: “James Exeter and Matt Hodges will be back in action for the first time since they returned...NEXT! Don’t go anywhere!”

James Exeter & Matt Hodges vs. The UnEasy Alliance (Andrew Samuel Pugh & Vyncient Detta)

The arena’s lights dim down with a crimson hue, then Monster hits the PA system.

Bon Iver]
I shoot the lights out
Hide til its bright out
Whoa, just another lonely night
Are you willing to sacrifice your life?

The sound of a girl screaming in horror is soon heard and the beat picks up.

[Rick Ross]
Bitch I'm a monster no good blood sucker
fat muthaf-cker now look who's in trouble
as you run through my jungle all you hear is rumbles
Kanye West sample, here's one for example

The hue turns red and white as ASP and Vyncient walk to the ramp. The crowd boos both men as they make their way down to the ring. ASP is sporting a red, silver and black Varsity jacket with his trademark shades. Vyn walks down to the ring with an intense expression while ASP is smiling and strutting down the ring where he spots a section of the crowd that have "I'm an ASPeep" sign and waves at them. Vynicent walks at a faster pace than ASP while ASP walks slowly, soaking in all of the heat he's getting.

The best living or dead hands down huh?
less talk more head right now huh?
and my eyes more red than the devil is
and I'm bout to take it to another level bitch
there you go again, aint nobody as cold as this
do the rap and the track triple double no assist
but my only focus is staying on some bogus sh-t
argue with my older bitch acting like I owe her sh-t

Vyncient is already in the ring as ASP walks to the right side and gets on the apron as well. He ascends the top rope and outstretches his arms, gaining more heat. He finally enters the ring as Vyncient simply stands in the middle of the ring. Andrew raises his arms before giving his jacket and shades to the ring announcer.

Sharper: “Talk about a hell of an opportunity. We mentioned opportunity earlier when Shaun Cruze faced Shawn Winters. But for ASP and for Vyncient Detta, beating James Exeter and Matt Hodges in their return match would be impressive to say the least.”

Kayl: “They’d have to topple two former World Champions. Two guys that have been to the top of the mountain and damn, do we know that ASP wants to get there at some point. I assume the same for Detta!”

The arena goes black, and the sound of electricity is heard. Suddenly, electrified green and blue letters appear on the screen.

E.
P.
I.
C.

Electricity surrounds the letters and they flash wildly before exploding. “Flight of the Valkryies” starts to play throughout the arena. The lights come up as Matt Hodges and James Exeter quickly make their way onto the stage, adorned in their super hero costumes. They both go to opposite corners of the stage and leap into action. Literally. They leap and strike poses at the crowd, in a very heroic manner. The two hold the poses for a moment.

Phillips: “Now making their way to the ring, from the HALL OF JUSTICE. Weighing in at a combined weight of… 45 mystical ounces… They are Matt-man and The Cardinal! Entertaining People In Cohesion!!”

Matt and James make their way down to the ring, James slapping hands with a few audience members on his way. Matt walks up the ring steps quite casually as James slides in under the bottom rope and runs to the far corner, leaping up to the middle rope and posing. Matt climbs up to the middle rope of the opposite corner and simply holds his arms outstretched. The two hop down from the corner and meet in the center of the ring, high-fiving, before they move to their corner and wait for the match to begin.

Sharper: “These two returned on Breakdown and have quickly interjected themselves a thorn in the side of Chad Evans and company.”

Dawson: “They took out James Evans on Ammo and James Evans tonight is looking to make a statement. He faces Shilo Valiant later tonight.”

Kayl: “So with all that said...what’s a mystical ounce?”

Dawson: “I have no clue.”

Kayl: “If it’s 45 for the two of them, then they’ve got to be HUGE!”

Sharper: “I don’t know. They probably made it up like Exeter’s Extraordinary title back in the day.”

Dawson: “That was an actual belt...and defended...”

Kayl: “Ah! Look out!”

James turns to stay in the ring as ASP runs over and nails James with a hard right and then another. Matt Hodges steps forward and Detta grabs him and kicks him in the ribs before nailing him with a hard right and then a back hand strike and then a kick to the ribs. Detta drags him over to the ropes and knees him in the ribs. ASP meanwhile drags James next to him and nails him with a hard right before kneeing him. He looks over at Detta and the two then go to fire them into the ropes, but both Hodges and Exeter spin through and send Detta and Pugh in. Pugh and Detta bounce off the ropes and Exeter jumps up and drills Pugh with a dropkick to the jaw. Hodges meanwhile catches Detta before throwing him up and over with a T-Bone suplex. The crowd roars and Exeter and Hodges get up. Detta rolls to the floor and Exeter looks at Pugh as he gets up. Exeter then runs at him and nails him with a clothesline, knocking him up and over to the floor. Hodges then looks at Exeter and Hodges smirks before running at Detta and nailing him with a baseball slide through the ropes. Detta falls back. Hodges then pulls himself onto the apron as Exeter walks over to the ropes and grabs the top rope before vaulting himself over the top rope and down on top of Pugh. Exeter rolls over and gets up and looks out at the crowd as cheers filter in from all over.

Sharper: “Pugh taken down on the floor. Hodges just looking at Detta as he gets up.”

Kayl: “Time for Plan B. Plan A did not work out!”

Pugh slowly stirs and Exeter grabs him and lifts him up before turning and rolling him into the ring. Exeter rolls in afterwards as Detta walks around the ring. Pugh starts to get up and Exeter gets up and kicks him in the ribs before kicking him in the shin. He then nails him with a forearm. He then fires Pugh into the ropes. Pugh bounces off the ropes and Exeter lifts him up in the air, but Pugh uses his momentum to get launched forward. Detta hops up and tags him as Pugh lands at the ropes. Exeter turns around and Pugh hits a quick kick to the ribs. Pugh then smirks as he turns and grabs Exeter and hits a mat slam. Detta then enters the ring and runs over before jumping up and hitting a knee drop to Exeter’s face. Pugh exits as Detta goes for the pin.

Exeter kicks out. He rolls over and Detta grabs him and slowly lifts him up. He then hits a hard right hand. He then nails him with a kick to the ribs before headbutting him. Exeter stumbles back. Detta then grabs him and whips him into the ropes. Exeter bounces off the ropes and Detta hits a quick powerslam.

Sharper: “Hard powerslam and Exeter planted.”

Dawson: “And Detta and Pugh may have enacted Plan B. A lucky break with Pugh using his agility there and Detta gets a chance to smash Exeter up.”

Exeter rolls over in pain and Detta grabs him and stomps him in the back. He then grabs him and lifts him up before kneeing him in the ribs. Exeter winces and Detta then pulls him down before lifting him up via his legs. Pugh tags himself in. Detta falls back and slingshots Exeter up towards Pugh. Pugh nails Exeter with a forearm and Exeter falls back and lands on the knees of Detta. The crowd ohs and Pugh then slingshots himself into the ring and hits an elbow drop onto the chest of Exeter. The crowd ohs and Detta rolls out of the ring. Exeter arches his back in pain and Pugh then goes for the pin.

Exeter gets his shoulder up. Pugh looks up and grabs Exeter. He then lifts him up. He nails him with a hard right. Exeter turns away. Pugh then grabs Exeter and whips him into the ropes. Exeter bounces off the ropes and Pugh attempts a clothesline. Exeter ducks and stops and Pugh turns around and Exeter nails him with the Zizou kick. The crowd erupts and Exeter rolls over. He then reaches over towards Hodges.

Sharper: “Zizou kick, out of nowhere. Down goes Pugh. He’s going for the tag. Trying to get there.”

Dawson: “I’m just impressed at how well Pugh and Detta have been working together. Putting a hurting on Exeter here.”

Kayl: “Won’t matter any if Hodges comes in.”

Exeter dives and tags in Hodges. The crowd erupts in cheers and Hodges enters the ring. He runs across and nails Detta, knocking him off the apron. He then turns and clotheslines Pugh back down. Pugh starts to get up and Hodges kicks him and scoops him up and hits a backbreaker. He then turns and Detta pops back up and Hodges runs over and nails him with a hard right. Pugh rolls over and gets up and Hodges grabs him. He then kicks him in the ribs and grabs him in a gutwrench. He then lifts him up for a powerbomb, but Pugh manages to get a quick hurricanrana off.

Hodges kicks out. Both men get up and Pugh attempts a dropkick, but Hodges moves. He then grabs Pugh and lifts him up before hoisting him up and throws him down with a spinning vertical suplex. Hodges then gets up and as Detta slides in. Hodges spins around and Detta kicks him and drives him down with a DDT. Detta then gets up and glares at him before smiling. Exeter however tags this as a chance to enter and springboards to the top rope and dives forward, knocking Detta down with a diving forearm smash. The crowd roars and Exeter rolls over and gets up.

Sharper: “This is breaking down. All four men in the ring, but this crowd is going nuts.”

Dawson: “Pugh and Detta have been going toe to toe with two former champions, but Exeter and Hodges may have gotten the control. Exeter is the only one standing.”

Sharper: “He’s not the legal man.”

Kayl: “Neither way Detta. Detta now has been dispatched. An eye for an eye! They are doing work!”

Exeter turns and looks at Detta. Detta gets up and turns to Exeter and Exeter ducks a clothesline attempt. Exeter then turns and runs at Detta and jumps up and takes him over with a crossbody, knocking him to the floor. The crowd roars and Exeter and Detta spill to the floor. Hodges however stirs as Pugh gets up first. Pugh smiles before kicking Hodges in the chest. Hodges pops up and Pugh nails him with a blow to the ribs before hooking his head. He then lifts him up and hangs him up on the top rope, with his feet draped over before turning and looking to go for the Ego Crusher, but Hodges lifts his feet up and drops down behind Pugh before kicking out his leg. Pugh falls to the mat and Hodges grabs the arm of Pugh before twisting it over and dropping down to his knee, locking in the It’s A Trap!

Kayl: “Call Admiral Ackbar!”

Dawson: “It’s a trap!”

Hodges pulls back on the arm and Pugh yells in pain. He continues to try and fight before then nodding his head yes and the referee calls for the bell. The crowd roars and Hodges lets go and falls back. He then pulls himself up to his feet before turning and walking over to the corner. Exeter rolls into the ring as Pugh rolls out. He then starts to get up before looking around. Detta winces as well, before we then see, Chad Evans walk out from the top of the stage. He looks down and Hodges glances over before looking at James Exeter and yelling at him. Exeter turns and looks at him before the two look over at Chad Evans only for Chad to smirk and we see Katelyn Buehler slide into the ring from by the announce tables.

Sharper: “Chad Evans on the rampway. Just looking down and James Exeter and Matt Hodges.”

Dawson: “Hey! It’s Katelyn!”

Destiny Nichols however hops the barricade near the entrance. Hodges drops down for Destiny, but Exeter is quickly taken down by the Hot Spot off the middle rope from Katelyn Buehler. The crowd boos and Exeter rolls over in pain. Katelyn then gets up and as Destiny slides in. Hodges grabs her only for Katelyn to run over and jump onto his back. Hodges tries to get her off, but Destiny quickly low blows Hodges and Hodges falls over. The crowd boos and Katelyn rolls over and gets off. Destiny looks at Hodges and smiles before then stomping him in the face. Katelyn then looks at Hodges before walking over to Exeter. The cameras just barely picking up what she’s saying.

Katelyn: “Don’t you DARE smear the name of God...and the name of the man who MADE you two!”

The crowd just boos as Chad Evans just smiles. Katelyn then looks at both before turning and exiting the ring. Destiny follows after her and the two look up at the ring before smiling and high-fiving. They then start to walk up the rampway. Chad Evans just looks on for a few moments longer before stepping to the back.

Sharper: “A message from Chad Evans to Matt Hodges and James Exeter. Don’t mess with him!”

Kayl: “Yeah, but he didn’t lift a finger. What’s going to happen if he has to get into the ring and deal with them?”

Dawson: “Who knows? Maybe he’s hoping he doesn’t have to. I don’t know.”

The scene cuts backstage as we see Gigi Steward backstage standing with Robin Brooks and Gigi looks less than pleased.

Robin: “Alright...whoa...Gigi...hold up here.”

Gigi: “No! I was made to jump through hoops to get my title shot and Syren just hands one off to Harmony who couldn’t beat me!”

Robin: “Alright. Well, there’s a way to do this.”

Gigi: “Robin-“

Just then we see Syren walking down the hallway, going seemingly for a drink or something and Gigi moves past Robin Brooks and storms over to Syren.

Gigi: “What the hell Syren? Too good to give me a shot? But you give Queen Crotchkick a shot!”

Gigi then moves over and shoves Syren. Syren stumbles back and turns before shoving Gigi back.

Syren: “How about that she at least was willing to fight her own fights!”

Gigi: “Well look at what I’m doing now! Give me a break!”

Gigi then shoves Syren back and Robin then moves in and pulls Gigi back.

Syren: “See...you even have Katie’s friends to back you up. Gigi...grow up and fight your own battles!”

Gigi: “Says someone who is in Infamous!”

Robin pushes Gigi back and Syren storms off as Gigi turns and spins around in anger before turning to Robin.

Gigi: “What the hell was that?”

Robin: “Just relax. You-“

Gigi: “Next time just let me be. She thinks I’m going to have you now attack her!”

Robin: “But I’m not-“

Gigi: “She’s too stupid to realize that. God!”

Gigi then turns and storms off as well as Robin just looks around and is a bit confused before Breakdown heads to commercial.

Breakdown returns and we then see James Evans walking down the hallway and looking around before walking over to the door of the office of Sasha Drachewych. The crowd boos upon seeing him. He knocks on the door before then stopping and knocking again. The sound of high heels clicking on the floor can be heard as the door opens and James Evans looks right at the SCW Owner.

Sasha: “Yes? James? Can I help you?”

James: “Actually you can. See, tonight, I have a match against Shilo Valiant.”

Sasha: “I’m aware.”

James: “Well, see, last time I took on a World Champion, I not only beat them, but I took a title of theirs. Now I noticed that no titles are on the line, but I never was given a World Championship shot like I should’ve. Now, I’m pretty sure I can kick Shilo Valiant’s ass and beat him and well, I’m here to demand the title shot I will PROVE I earn by doing so for the next Breakdown. Sound good?”

Sasha just turns away almost in disbelief.

Sasha: “You’re demanding a title shot?”

James: “You know I’ve earned it.”

Sasha: “Maybe so, but you’ve struggled. Win....and maybe I’ll consider putting you in contendership. But until then....don’t get ahead of yourself. I’m not handing you anything. You better get prepared.”

James: “What the hell!”

Sasha however closes the door before James Evans can protest.

James: “Unfair bitch!”

James Evans turns and kicks the door before turning and walking off. The crowd just cheers a bit as we then head to ringside.

Chase Cameron vs. Kraven Blake vs. Cory Chase vs. Eidolon

Breakdown opens up as we see Kraven Blake, Cory Chase, Eidolon and Chase Cameron in the ring. The crowd roars and the bell sounds as we then see Chase Cameron turn and just drill Kraven Blake in between the legs with a kick. Blake falls over in pain and Cory Chase runs over to Eidolon and nails him with a hard right as Eidolon attempts a knee, that fails. Cory then nails Eidolon with another hard right as Chase Cameron walks over towards Cory.

Sharper: “Welcome back to the ring. A big four way match here with some of the newcomers in SCW. Kraven Blake already sent to the floor as Chase Cameron just booted him hard between the legs.”

Kayl: “All legal in this one, but Chase Cameron probably taking out the favourite for the time being. Kraven Blake won his first match on Ammo last Friday. He’ll be in Taking Hold of the Flame. So will Eidolon for that matter.”

Dawson: “Well any momentum will help. That said, all of these four are looking for that big win, and other than Kraven, their first win in SCW!”

Kraven winces in pain as the camera turns back to the ring only to see Cameron throw Cory back and away from Eidolon before Cameron grabs Eidolon by the mask and pulls. Eidolon goes to block it and Cameron punches him in the face before raking his eyes. He then pushes him through the ropes to the apron. Cameron turns around and Cory Chase grabs him and nails him with a hard right and then a chop. The crowd woos before Cory kicks Cameron in the ribs and goes to whip him across the ring. Cameron spins through and pulls Cory into him and lifts him onto his shoulders. Cory however slides off before quickly jumping forward and hitting a bulldog. He then rolls Cameron over for the pin as the crowd cheers for him.

Cameron kicks out and rolls over. Cory then gets up and turns to Eidolon only for Eidolon to nail him with a hard right and then another. He then grabs him by the arm and runs over towards the corner only to slingshot himself up and over the turnbuckles and then drop down to the floor, driving the arm of Cory Chase into the top rope. Cory Chase falls back as Cameron starts to get up. Kraven just slowly gets up and glares in the ring on the floor.

Sharper: “Eidolon using that speed and quickness and hanging Cory Chase up on the top rope there.”

Kayl: “Well better than Chase Cameron who in his glorious douchiness just decided to punt people in the balls and rake people’s eyes!”

Dawson: “But he’s getting up and so is Kraven Blake. This could be bad for the Stylish Bum.”

Kayl: “The what?”

Dawson: “That’s what he calls himself.”

Kayl: “Well I’m going to call him Douchy McDouchington. He needs to earn a name like Stylish Bum from me!”

Cameron pulls himself up as Eidolon hops onto the apron. He then enters the ring and runs over to Cameron and knees him in the ribs. He then hits a double club to the back. Cameron falls down. Eidolon then turns and runs into the ropes and Kraven gets up and clubs him in the back. Kraven then enters the ring before lifting Eidolon up and over with a release back suplex, causing Eidolon to go over the top rope, backflip over and just land on his feet before his momentum causes him to fall onto the mats. Kraven then looks at Cameron and smirks before Cameron pulls himself up and Kraven kicks him in the ribs before scooping him up. He then drops him with a ribbreaker, only to hold onto him still and hit a second ribbreaker. He then gets up and stomps Cameron in the ribs before grinding the sole of his foot into the chest. He then steps on him and over before walking to the ropes. Cameron rolls over in pain, holding his chest as Cory Chase pulls himself up.

Sharper: “Kraven Blake making his statement to Cameron. Cameron quickly may want to rethink his plan of attack. He’s managed to already piss everyone off in the ring.”

Kayl: “Douchy McDouchington! I swear! It’s apt!”

Dawson: “In any case, Cory Chase back up. He’s going for Kraven and Eidolon is back to his feet.”

Cory Chase turns and grabs Kraven and Kraven nails him with a chop. The crowd woos. He then kicks him in the ribs. He turns and fires Cory into the ropes. Cory bounces off the ropes and Kraven goes for a clothesline, but Cory ducks. He then stops and Kraven turns around and Cory kicks him in the ribs before Cory throws him back with a mat slam. He then turns and looks at Kraven as he gets up. He then drags him to his feet before lifting him up and over with a vertical suplex. He rolls over and Eidolon enters the ring before grabbing him and throwing him over with a northern lights suplex into a bridge.

Cameron however kicks Eidolon hard in the back. The crowd ohs and Eidolon rolls over in pain. Cameron holds his ribs before he stomps Cory in the face and turns back to Eidolon. He grabs Eidolon and lifts him up before nailing him with a hard forearm. He then whips Eidolon into the ropes. Eidolon bounces off the ropes and Cameron goes to lift him up, but Eidolon spins through. He then grabs Cameron and throws him back into Kraven with a release German suplex. Eidolon then rolls over as Kraven pulls himself up. Eidolon then lifts him up and spins him out into a sitout blue thunder bomb.

Kraven breaks it up. Eidolon falls back and rolls over as Kraven starts to get up, as does Cory Chase.

Sharper: “Nice Blue Thunder Bomb. Not enough as Kraven makes the save.”

Kayl: “And that’s the thing. Throw someone out of the ring. Make it so there’s only two of you. It’s the best opportunity for success!”

Eidolon starts to get up and Kraven grabs him and throws him back with a Russian leg sweep. He then rolls over and Cory comes up from behind and waistlocks Kraven before throwing him back with a bridging German suplex.

Kraven rolls out of it. Cory grabs him and lifts him up before turning and whipping him into the corner. Eidolon however stirs and pulls himself up and runs at Cory, but Cory moves out of the way and Eidolon splashes Kraven in the corner. Cory then jumps up and dropkicks him from behind before getting up and nailing Eidolon with a swinging clothesline in the corner to the back of the head. Eidolon falls over and Cory backs up. He then turns and goes back to Kraven, but Kraven manages to kick him in the ribs. He then turns around and Cameron grabs him and takes him down with a snap belly to belly suplex. He then gets up and Kraven runs out and clotheslines him down. Cameron pops up and Kraven turns back around and scoops Cameron up onto his shoulders only for Cameron to slide back and then lifting Kraven up and back with a high angle back suplex. Cameron rolls over and smirks as he gets up. The crowd meanwhile boos and Kraven rolls over.

Sharper: “Chase Cameron now the only one standing.”

Kayl: “God damn it. Douche is going to take this!”

Dawson: “He may. He has his pick of targets. And he’s done a good job pissing them all off.”

Kayl: “But move fast. Don’t even hesitate. Just go!”

Cameron then looks at Eidolon and lifts him up. He then kicks him in the ribs before then smacking him. He smirks before running into the ropes. He bounces off them and Cory Chase runs over and jumps up at Cameron, but Cameron manages to catch him in the crossbody and roll through. He however can’t stand up with him and instead lets go and jumps up and hits a double stomp. He then smirks before he turns to Kraven and Kraven lifts him up and plants him with a spinebuster. The crowd roars and Cameron rolls over in pain. Kraven then sees as Eidolon jumps up and attempts a jumping side kick, but Kraven ducks before then turning and taking Eidolon down by the leg and stepping through before locking in a full nelson and locking in the Ockham’s Razor! The crowd roars and Kraven pulls back on it. Eidolon just winces in pain and Cameron rolls over in pain as well, only for Eidolon to start to tap out as best as he can with one of his arms. Kraven lets go and rolls off as the crowd roars and Kraven kneels. He then is about to have his arm raised, only to pull away and get up before exiting the ring. He then looks in before starting to walk to the back. Cameron looks at him and rolls over as Cory Chase stirs as well. Eidolon rolls to his back, holding his neck in pain.

Sharper: “Kraven Blake makes Eidolon tap out and he continues a hell of a start in SCW.”

Kayl: “Two and Zero so far. He may be something big if he can keep it up.”

Dawson: “And both in multi-person matches. I wonder what he can do in a one on one fight.”

Kraven continues on his way to the back as the camera focuses on him before Breakdown goes backstage.

Cameras open backstage, revealing Marisa Condolesa standing beside Billy Mitchell and the woman earlier identified as Kristine Daniels. Dressed for his match, Mitchell stands with his arms crossed, the collar of his duster pulled up around the nape of his neck. His eyes focused on the floor, he remains silent as Kristine tries to move behind him, shielding herself from the cameraman, who tries to keep her in frame. A quiet clearing of Marisa’s throat stops him, though, and he refocuses the scene around Mitchell and Condolesa.

Marisa: “Obviously I’m standing next to a familiar face here in Supreme Championship Wrestling. The “American Outlaw” himself, Billy Mitchell. Tonight, he goes one-on-one with Adrenaline contender Warren James. Billy, before we go on, I notice you’ve retained the services of a new manager, Ms. Kristine Daniels. Is there any particular reason you sought her out?”

Kristine gives Marisa a cold look, but still keeps silent, her hand resting on Mitchell’s shoulder.

Mitchell: “Krissy’s here for personal reasons. You’ll forgive me if I don’t go into them on national television. As for Warren and Jayde, no, it wasn’t anything to do with them. I’ve never seen any reason to feel like I needed to watch my back against either one of them. Both Mr. James and I have said our pieces. We know where the other is coming from, and we’re looking to make good on the promises we made. Giving each other the best fight we got, taking each other to the absolute limit, then dusting ourselves off and shaking hands once we’ve found out who the better man is. I don’t expect anything from Warren James but the fight of my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Still, I’m not really here to talk about tonight. I’m here ‘cause a couple people seem a little confused as to why I signed up for that Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Just the mention of the upcoming Pay-Per-View is enough to bring a fresh ovation from the capacity crowd, causing the entire arena to reverberate with the tens of thousands of voices now echoing through the rafters.

Mitchell: “Unlike most of the people showing up in Miami, Shilo doesn’t need to worry about being gunning for his World Title. Neither will Helms, if he gets it back that night. I told Warren I got no interest in the Adrenaline Title, and now I’m telling whoever the World Champ is the same thing. I got five reasons for walking into Taking Hold of the Flame, and once those five bits of business are seen to, I’ll take myself out of the match and head back to my locker room. All the rest of them can tear each other’s throats out, I don’t want no part of it. If I ever find myself hunting down a title, I’ll do it the same way I get it done in the ring - the old fashioned way. I step right up to the man that has it, tell him I’m gonna’ take it, and we’ll set ourselves a date and get to it. But that Royal does mean something to me. See, when I talk about having five reasons for being there, I’m talking about five men that I’ve faced in the past … and never quite measured to.

“Now, I hate wording it like that, prideful man that I am, but truth is there’s just no other way to put it. Back then, I was a drunk, an addict, and just about the sorriest sack of trash you’d ever seen in a wrestling ring. But I guess we could say things have changed now, can’t we? …Damian Angel …Cedro Martinez. Both of them damn good men, hard fighters … but not hard enough. See, I found myself a little focus the last few months, and thanks to those two wins, I’m picking up a little confidence, as well. So I’m looking to use it while I’ve got it… meaning once I’m standing in that ring in Miami, Florida, I won’t be paying much attention to Lucas Knight, or Shawn Winters, or Red Robberson or Greg Cherry. Like I said before, they’re all welcome to each other. I’ll fight off whoever comes my way. I’ll toss out anyone I need to to stay in that ring, but my eyes are gonna’ be locked on that stage, waiting. Waiting for those five men I just mentioned.”

The cameraman tightened the shot a little, getting a closer look at the hint of hardened determination causing Mitchell’s dark green eyes to flare a bit in the lights. Beside him, Marisa nodded, and brought the microphone back to herself.

Marisa: “Well, it wouldn’t be the first time someone’s had a target painted to their backs. Do we get to know who these five men are, or do we have to wait until we see them flying over the top rope?”

Offering the hint of a smile, Mitchell shook his head.

Mitchell: “No need to wait. They know I’m coming, it’ll be all for the better. Means they’ll put up a bigger fight than if they didn’t. I want ’em to know why I’m there. I want ’em to know that no matter how long it takes, how many bodies I need to push through, how many people I need to throw away, so long as I’m in that ring, I’ll hunt ’em, I’ll stalk ’em and I’ll see every last one of them dumped out on their asses. And when I say ’them,’ I’m referring to Anthony Thomas, Josh Hudson, Chad Evans, James Evans and Masquerade.”

Realization slowly dawns on Marisa’s face, causing her to smile a bit as the crowd cheers and jeers in accordance with the names. At the brash bravado from Mitchell, a few quiet “Outlaw” and “Mitchell” chants can be heard circling the upper-balcony, but die back down as Marisa quickly picks up where he finishes.

Marisa: “The same five men who defeated you in your last run through SCW. So … this is all centered around some unfinished business, maybe? But are you sure about Thomas and Hudson being in it?”

Mitchell: “That’s pretty much the black and white of it. Never said it was some deep, dark secret, but I also said I had a hell of a lot of pride. And well, having those five names floating around in the back of my head, remembering what happened the last time I went up against ‘em … it’s been nagging at me pretty damn bad since stepping back through those doors. With Hudson retired, Thomas too chicken-shit to show his face around the ring anymore, and the rest of ‘em too busy running around with their heads up their asses, I figure this’ll be the only time I can get all five of ‘em in one room. Right where I want ‘em. Easy pickings.....and yes...I know that Thomas and Hudson will be in there. I’ve made sure I’m not wasting my time!”

Marisa: “I don’t know if I’d call Josh Hudson or James Evans ’easy pickings,’ but I wish you luck, Billy. Both at the Pay-Per-View, and in your match tonight. Thank you for sharing your time with us.”

Nodding his head, Mitchell turns and heads for the stage with Kristine following close behind.

Sharper: “Well when we return, Billy Mitchell, he’ll be facing Warren James, as was mentioned. That’s going to be a hell of a match.”

Dawson: “No doubt about it!”

The scene then fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

A bell is heard ringing as we look at an old, run-down church from outside. Eerie music begins to softly play in the background as the scene slowly moves inside of the church, showing that the inside is far worse off than the outside. Standing at the altar (or what's left of it) are three young boys and three young girls. The boys are all wearing black suits and ties that appear to be stained with blood if you look close enough. The girls are all in black funeral dresses with black roses in their hair. They all join hands and slowly begin to recite a famous prayer, their voices sounding very haunting and made even more so as they echo off the walls of the deserted run-down church.

"Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name"

As they end that verse, the screen quickly shifts to a fast-paced shot of our black-haired individual from the past vignettes spiking an opponent's head off the canvas with a double underhook side brainbuster. Unlike the past vignettes, this time the clips are in full color. As soon as the move connects with devastating impact, made to look even more devastating by the speed of the clip, we switch back to the children in the church.

"Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven."

Our vision quickly switches to another fast-paced clip that shows the black-haired man on his knees in front of a wooden cross that has a heavily bloodied opponent tied to it and looking unconscious, the black-haired man of our focus slowly raising his palms to the sky as our angle of this doesn't completely show the man's face but shows enough of it to make out an evil-looking smirk before we switch back to the children in the church again.

"Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us"

We switch to another clip that shows the black-haired man with someone trapped in a rear naked choke, the difference between this one and past visions of this being that this time his arms are wrapped from wrist to bicep in razor-sharp barbed wire as it digs into the victim's throat, the poor wrestler gasping desperately for air as his blood runs down the dark figure's arm. Again, we switch back to the children.

"And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil"

The entire scene suddenly fades to black for a moment, before a sinister laugh can be heard echoing. Suddenly, a figure whose face is hidden by the hood of a black cloak that allows him to almost completely blend in to the blackness around him appears before us by slowly raising his head. All he can see is the lower half of his face, which is perfect for us to hear straight out of his lips with a wicked smile:

"Amen"

The figure slowly lowers his head again and disappears against the black background as a lone number slowly fades into view:

user posted image

Slowly, something else appears underneath the number:

4 Days

With that, the picture fades back into black, and the video comes to an end.

Warren James vs. “Bad” Billy Mitchell

PULL THE TRIGGER!!!!!

Rapid gunshots echo through the arena, the sounds booming in the speakers as bullet holes appear in the black screen, slowly spelling out the word “BAD”. One final shot causes the image to shatter like glass, the pieces falling away to reveal a fast-cut montage of Mitchell in past matches, celebrating with the crowd and putting various opponents away with the ‘Last Ride’. An eruption of silver-white pyrotechnics rips up through the stage, silhouetting the “American Outlaw” as he’s catapulted into the air through a hole in the steel, sending the already roaring crowd into a frenzied ovation. Picking up in the middle of the chorus, “Shoot to Thrill” thunders at full volume as the lights shift into dazzling strobes and spotlights of gold. Still standing at center-stage, Mitchell spins in place a few times while throwing his arms out wide, causing the duster to billow around him. Planting his feet, he stops short and cocks one hand like a six-gun, slapping at the thumb while firing up into the rafters, causing small pyrotechnic explosions with each ‘shot’, sending the sparks raining down onto the fans. Finally bringing the ‘gun’ up to his lips, he blows the smoke off the barrel and slowly starts to lope down the ramp. Moving from one side of the ramp to the other, Mitchell slaps at every single hand he sees, before making his way to one of the young women at ringside and crooking his finger, prompting her to lean over the guardrail. Looking to either side, Mitchell pulls his hat off and slips it on the woman’s head while leaning in and pressing a slow, sultry kiss onto her lips, drawing catcalls and wolf whistles from the rest of the crowd. Breaking away, Mitchell fans himself a little and clasps at his heart, before turning and rolling into the ring. Pushing to his feet, he crosses to one of the corners and mounts the middle rope, throwing up both hands with the ‘Bottoms Up!’ gesture, earning a deafening ovation from the fans. Bobbing his head in time to the beat, Mitchell leans his shoulders back and rolls them in time to the music, allowing the duster to slide slowly down his arms, revealing his rugged physique and drawing even more calls from the female fans. Pulling the coat loose, he lobs it to a crewman before dropping to the mat and using the ropes to stretch out as his music fades.

Dawson: “Billy Mitchell has been doing pretty well with his return, eh there Adam?”

Sharper: “That he is. He’s managing to get more confidence by the weak and he’s picked up some big wins. This however may be his biggest challenge to date.”

Kayl: “Warren James has been damn near unstoppable. Billy Mitchell is hoping he can be the proverbial brick wall here.”

"Sober" By Tool hits and the video screen comes to life with what appears to be Warren James, ridding a Harley down a lonely stretch of road. A side view of Warren James with no shirt on is then shown. The word bionic flashes across the screen before switching to Warren nailing a wrestling with his Bionic Showdown finisher. The Words "The Real" flash on the screen next and then Warren is shown charging into the corner, nailing an opponent with No More Chances. The scene switches to Warren adjusting his jacket before the words "6 Million" flash on the screen and the scene switches to Warren working out on a heavy bag, landing punches and kisses. The view now shows Warren walking to the ring in an arena and the word "Man" flashing on the screen before showing a close up of Warren staring a hole through you with his eyes. Jayde Blanchard steps from the back followed by Warren. The two waste no time in walking toward the ring as Warren stays totally focused. His eyes stay trained on the ring as Jayde climbs up on the ring apron and steps inside. Warren leaps up on the ring apron and stands looking out at the crowd before finally stepping in between the ropes and into the ring. Warren gets face to face with the referee staring at him before turning his attention to Jayde. Jayde gets right in Warren's face and tells him something before stepping out of the ring as Warren rubs his hands together and gets ready for the match.

Sharper: “This is going to be a treat to say the least. Two possible future World Champions-“

Kayl: “Maybe the future Adrenaline Champion.”

Dawson: “That could be the case. Warren James will face Shaun Cruze in his rematch from Riding the Lightning as he hopes to regain his Adrenaline Championship.”

Sharper: “And both will be in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal.”

The bell sounds and Warren James looks at Billy Mitchell. The two start to walk out of the corner and circle around the ring a bit. They then both lunge and grapple in the middle of the ring. Warren and Mitchell both push back before Mitchell moves into a side headlock. He pulls back and Warren holds on before pulling Mitchell back into the ropes. He then fires him across the ring. Mitchell bounces off the ropes and shoulders Warren James down. James looks up and Billy Mitchell runs into the ropes. He bounces off them and jumps over James. He bounces off the other side and Warren James leapfrogs over him. Mitchell bounces off the other side and attempts a huge lariat, but James moves out of the way. The crowd ohs and Mitchell gets up and looks at James. Warren quickly then runs over and kicks him in the ribs. He then nails him with a hard right before then another before kneeing him in the ribs. He pushes him into the corner and climbs up to the middle rope before starting to hammer away at Mitchell. Mitchell pushes him off and James rolls back. He then runs over and jumps up and hammers away at Mitchell some more.

Sharper: “Warren James just teeing off right now.”

Dawson: “Mitchell nearly tried to decapitate Warren a few moments ago, but Warren is hammering away.”

Mitchell throws James off again and James rolls through. He then gets up and Mitchell walks forward and kicks him in the ribs. He then turns and drives him face first into the corner. Mitchell then grabs James and turns before whipping him into the opposite corner. Mitchell turns and runs after him, but James gets his elbow up. Mitchell stumbles back and James then jumps to the middle rope and dives back, taking Mitchell down with a twisting crossbody into a pin.

Sharper: “Nice Russian leg sweep. Warren James taking down Mitchell hard to the mat. Now he’s going to the corner.”

Dawson: “Going to the top. He’s showing that Adrenaline fighting spirit.”

Kayl: “Yeah. That high-risk, high-reward mentality.”

Warren James exits to the apron before climbing up to the top rope. He looks over at Mitchell and Mitchell then rolls over and manages to get to Warren before drilling him with a hard uppercut. Warren falls down to a seated position and Mitchell nails him with a hard right. Warren nearly falls back and Mitchell then grabs him before climbing up to the middle rope. Warren gets back up and Mitchell does too only for Warren to jump up and hit a dropkick. Mitchell pops back up and Warren jumps up and takes him down with a hurricanrana.

Sharper: “Snapping off the hurricanrana...”

Kayl: “And Warren James is putting on the pressure. He’s gotten his ass handed to him and he needs to prevent that from happening more! Mitchell almost had him earlier!”

Mitchell starts to get up and Warren James stands to his side before nailing him with a spin kick to the chest. He then hits another before grabbing Mitchell and whipping him into the ropes. He then rolls towards him and clotheslines him down. Mitchell slowly gets up and Warren James grabs him and hooks his leg before hitting a spinning fisherman’s suplex into a bridge.

Dawson: “Well that was different. I’ve never seen a piledriver like that!”

Sharper: “Package piledriver. All of the added pressure and impact on the neck!”

Warren slowly stirs and turns before hooking Mitchell’s leg.

Mitchell falls to a knee. Warren hoists him back up before then turning and placing his knee on the back of Mitchell’s head. He then goes to throw him back, but Mitchell turns before hoisting Warren up and throwing him into the corner with a powerbomb. The crowd ohs and Warren just falls forward. The crowd roars and Mitchell lets go and falls to the mat. He then looks at Warren as Warren looks up and rolls over before looking forward. He just smiles as he then nods.

Sharper: “And what an ending!”

Dawson: “Warren James took a risk. Mitchell however sat down and got the win!”

Kayl: “What a match though between two guys I hope to see at the top very soon!”

Sharper: “Billy Mitchell making a statement. Warren James doing the same.”

Mitchell turns to James and just extends his hand before even getting his arm raised. Warren James does not hesitate at all before shaking Mitchell’s hand. Billy Mitchell gets up and walks around as Warren pulls himself up and goes to the ropes. Jayde just applauds him as he then steps out of the ring. He then takes a deep breath as Mitchell celebrates in the ring. He looks around as the crowd continues to cheer and we then head to commercial.

COMMERCIAL:

Breakdown returns as we see Warren James backstage with Jessica Winters as Jayde Blanchard stays in the background. The crowd cheers and Jessica turns to Warren.

Jessica: “Warren...you just had a hell of a match with Billy Mitchell, but obviously the outcome was not what you hoped for-“

Warren: “Sorry to interrupt...but Jessica, honestly, Billy was the better man tonight. I’d be happy to try again another night and see who may be the better man that night. But he gave it his all. I gave it my all. Technically, it wasn’t a good night for my opponent for this Sunday either.”

Jessica: “Well getting to that, are there any new reservations now about your rematch for the Adrenaline Championship, especially given that your brand of offense worked against you tonight?”

Warren just smiles a bit.

Warren: “Don’t worry. I’ll shake it off and Shaun can expect the fight that he deserves for that belt. I’m going to make sure that the Adrenaline Championship gets the defense it deserves and we’ll see who may be the better man that night-“

Just then we suddenly see Andrew Samuel Pugh run in and nail Warren from behind. Jayde turns and actually gets ready to throw a punch, but Detta comes in and grabs her by the throat. Pugh then stomps away at Warren as Warren falls down the wall behind him. Jessica just yells for help.

Jessica: “Help! Help!”

Pugh kicks away at Warren James and nails him with a couple more hard shots to the ribs. Detta just holds Jayde and smiles as she squirms before she manages to push him away and Pugh backs up and Detta does too. Jayde immediately checks on Warren.

ASP: “Nothing personal Warren...but you’re in the battle royal this Sunday....and I feel like improving my odds a bit.”

Detta just smirks.

ASP: “More where that came from this Sunday.”

ASP smirks as he backs up and turns to Detta. The two walk away as Warren James just grimaces in pain, holding his ribs. Jayde checks on him as Jessica comes over as well and after a few moments, we go back to ringside.

Sharper: “ASP just going after Warren James and for what?”

Dawson: “He wants to take out some competition-“

Kayl: “How much do you want to think that Tag match earlier affected his outlook on his chances?”

Dawson: “You may want to look out too there Donovan!”

Corey Douglas vs. Shin Roar

"This is now" hits the pa system and out comes Corey Douglas with his finance, Bridgette Burns, to a crowd full of negativity. Corey stands at the top of the ramp smiling, absorbing all the boos from the crowd. After a few moments he drops to his knees and spreads his arms out like a cross, Bridgette stands by Corey's side, and pyro shoots off behind them. Once the pyro is done and jumps up and starts to make his way down the ramp with a arrogant smile, and a cocky walk. He finally slides in the ring and goes to the middle of the ring, drops to his knees again and spreads his arm like cross. Corey then waits for his opponent to come out.

Dawson: “Corey Douglas is going to have his hands full tonight. Last Breakdown, we saw a monster come out and destroy Mike Harrison. Harrison returning after being off on injury and going to Europe for promotional purposes.”

Kayl: “And he’s going right back there!”

The lights in the arena begin to fade to an eerie blood red. A gong hits and then the sounds of Rammstein's "Sonne" hit the sound waves. As the music begins to get into full flow two figures emerge from behind the curtain, first the big muscular and evil looking Shin Roar, who is closely followed by his well dressed and almost equally evil looking manager Father Charles Nolan. They move towards the ring slowly and as Shin gets to the he pounces up onto the ring apron, and gets into the ring by pouncing over the top rope. He makes his slowly to the centre of the ring and stands there and bows his head. Before suddenly springing to life and swinging his arms into the air and quickly down again in a Kane like motion, which sets off fire pyros on each of the ring corners. After this Shin Roar continues to stand in the middle of the ring and searches for his opponent. When he finds them, he locks eyes with them and does not let his gaze slip. He then begins to laugh uncontrollably before waiting for the ring bell to sound so he begin his vicious assault.

Kayl: “Alright. That’s just not healthy.”

Sharper: “Corey Douglas has to deal with this man. Shin Roar is his name. And he’s making his in-ring debut.”

Kayl: “Because as our fans know, we don’t consider destroying a man outside of competition to be that!”

The bell sounds and Shin Roar continues to laugh as Corey Douglas looks at Shin Roar confused. He then points to him before turning to the referee and saying something to him. But that’s the opening Shin Roar needed. Roar runs over and kicks Douglas in the ribs. He then kicks him again and again before pushing him into the corner. Shin Roar then knees him in the ribs before rearing back and nailing him again and again and again. The referee moves in for the break. Shin Roar however knees Douglas again. He then starts to count.

Shin Roar turns, wincing a bit and Douglas then walks out of the corner. Shin Roar turns to him and Douglas kicks him in the ribs and nails him with a European uppercut.

Sharper: “Douglas starting to get some offense in. Shin Roar even is intimidating the referee, but that cost him.”

Dawson: “But he may have angered this newcomer!”

Douglas then grabs Shin Roar and wrenches his arm before kicking him in the ribs. He then jumps up and hits a quick rocker dropper. Shin Roar hits the mat and Douglas goes for the quick pin.

Shin Roar stumbles back and Douglas goes to whip him into the ropes, but Shin Roar spins through and pulls him into his knee. He then gutwrenches him up and just throws him down with a powerbomb. The crowd ohs and Douglas rolls over in pain. Shin Roar then backs up before turning and nailing Douglas in the face with a vicious spin kick. Douglas falls back and the crowd ohs again. Douglas then rolls to the apron. Shin Roar just glares at him before walking over.

Sharper: “Douglas trying to get out of dodge after damn near getting his head taken off.”

Dawson: “Hell, he probably doesn’t even know where he is.”

Kayl: “Either way, he’s on the apron. That’s a start. Now jump off and roll and hope for the best!”

Douglas starts to get up and Shin Roar grabs him. He then holds him by the head, but Douglas counters with a guillotine drop. Shin Roar stumbles back and Douglas rolls into the ring. He then gets up and runs over and jumps up before grabbing Shin Roar and dropping him with a jumping complete shot. The crowd ohs and Roar rolls over and Douglas goes for the pin.

Roar kicks out. He turns and Douglas turns and grabs him. He then lifts him up before hoisting him up for a vertical suplex or brainbuster. Roar however drops down and Douglas nails him in the ribs. He then fires him into the ropes. Douglas waits for him on the rebound and jumps up for a hurricanrana, but Roar blocks it and holds on. He then swings him back and hard on the top rope. Douglas just falls back, holding his throat in pain.

Sharper: “Oh god...”

Dawson: “Corey Douglas’ head and neck have been the focus of the attack and Shin Roar is not holding back at all.”

Douglas stirs and Roar grabs him and lifts him up before double underhooking him only to throw him over with a butterfly suplex. He then pushes down for the pin.

Douglas kicks out. The crowd roars and Douglas turns to his side. Roar then grabs him and lifts him up. He then hoists him up and throws him down with a spinebuster. He then walks over to the ropes and bounces off them before hitting a running stomp to the face. Douglas rolls over in pain and Roar bends over and slowly lifts him up. He then hooks him up for a back suplex, but Douglas fights off. He nails Roar in the face with a hard right. Roar tries to hoist him up again and Douglas blocks it with another hard right. Roar then lifts him again, but Douglas turns and rolls through with a sunset flip.

Roar kicks out. He rolls back and gets up and Douglas lifts him up and throws him back with a Samoan drop. He then rolls over in pain and starts to get up. Roar winces before starting to pull himself up.

Sharper: “Douglas fighting perhaps for his career with this man here. Shin Roar has been vicious.”

Kayl: “Douglas almost needs to go for a knock out move and go for a quick end. I don’t know how much more he can take!”

Douglas then looks at Shin Roar before smiling and running into the ropes. He bounces off them and runs at Shin Roar. Shin Roar gets to his feet and Douglas then jumps up, but Shin Roar catches him before then scooping him up and onto his shoulder. He forces Douglas’ head down before then dropping him with a tombstone piledriver. The crowd ohs and Shin Roar then reaches over and goes for the pin.

The crowd roars before booing a bit and Shin Roar just looks down at Douglas. He then slowly gets up before he has his arm raised. He just continues to look down at Douglas before turning as Father Charles Nolan enters the ring. Nolan just smiles before walking over and pointing at Shin Roar. Shin Roar just looks rather indifferent to the crowd before continuing to look down at Douglas.

Sharper: “And Father Charles Nolan showing off the victor, Shin Roar!”

Kayl: “Father? He’s got to be with the Church of Evans!”

Sharper: “Well, I doubt that, but either way, this man with an impressive appearance and getting a win in his debut here tonight.”

“Rescue Me” starts to play in the background as we see a still of Shilo Valiant versus James Evans come up on the screen.

Sharper: “Well, still plenty to come. Shilo Valiant and James Evans will go at it in the main event.”

Dawson: “But that’s not all...”

We then see the still change to show Dillusion on the screen.

Dawson: “When we return, we are finally going to hear what Dillusion has to say. What is he thinking? We’ll hear from him, next!”

The scene then fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

Breakdown returns and we open up inside the dark boiler room that we have seen twice already throughout the evening to see Dillusion still looking down at the floor. Without moving his head, he just starts to speak.

Dillusion: “I am not going to apologize for what I did on Breakdown when I took out Anthony Wallace. He knows why I did....and now I know he will stay out of my way. Because much like my great conquers in the past....against Greg Cherry....against Jason Wheeler....against Adam Riddick.......I have to do this one alone. And even knowing the threat of a two on one assault remains.”

Dillusion scoffs a bit.

Dillusion: “I’m doing that because it’s for their own safety. I know Saber will do anything. I know Josh Hudson will definitely do anything. And I still don’t even know what Hudson truly wants. I can only assume he wants to end me for good. But Hudson, if Rachel Foxx or The Real Speed couldn’t do it, do you think YOU could?”

Dillusion now flashes a smile.

Dillusion: “See, I have been down here thinking about all of the wonderful things I can do to you if you ever just actually grab your balls and come to the ring and face me. But you seem to want to play games. Bringing the clown too. Well, Josh, you should know I’m always ready for a fight. I may be getting battered and broken, but I can still damn sure give as much damage as I take and I can still keep going. Ask Rachel what I am capable of even at this stage of my career. ASK HER!”

Dillusion starts to smile a bit wider, almost laughing.

Dillusion: “But I know the pain you have in store for me is going to be a lot and I can’t wait. But Josh, I hope you know that I know you’re going to be at Taking Hold of the Flame. I know you’re going to be entering that battle royal because like anyone with a pulse, the World Championship’s siren call is enough to make you comply and run begging. And I’m going to be there too. Who knows? Maybe we can forgo the pleasantries and we can bust each other’s skulls open while thirty-eight others dance around trying to avoid the blood spilling on them. Or maybe we can just cut to the chase and destroy each other backstage before the show. Regardless, Josh, you’ve pissed me off and I’m coming for you. You’ve made this personal. I’m going to make it permanent...and by that I mean your retirement. You claimed to leave a year ago....well, I’m going to do you a favour and make sure it is permanent as it should have been. I just hope you can STOP ME!”

The crowd in the arena can be heard cheering as Dillusion just starts to smile before slowly chuckle maniacally. He chuckles a bit louder.

Dillusion: “Oh this will be good...”

Dillusion then licks his lips before he returns to looking right at the floor of the boiler room. The camera slowly pans out and shows all of Dillusion and he continues to look at the floor and the scene then slowly cuts to ringside.

Sharper: “Dillusion with some strong words for Josh Hudson.”

Dawson: “This Sunday is looking more and more jampacked and chaotic to say the least. With everything we’ve seen tonight. Everyone wants to get into perfect position to start for the final push for Rise to Greatness.”

Sharper: “And that starts off this Sunday...the Road to Rise to Greatness that is, with Taking Hold of the Flame!”

Kayl: “But there are a LOT of questions!”

“Country Song” starts to play in the background before we see the Taking Hold of the Flame logo before that switches to stills for each of the matches.

David Helms vs. Shilo Valiant

SCW World Championship

Sharper: “Who will be the likely World Champion heading into Rise to Greatness? Who will get that coveted spot?”

Dawson: “Shilo Valiant has been on a tear as of late while David Helms has been quite distracted. But that said, don’t count the former World Champion out. Shilo Valiant was able to defeat Greg Cherry for that title but not David Helms. Now he gets the chance to do that? Can he succeed in his first World Championship defense?”

Shorty Jr. vs. Rachel Foxx

Non-Title Underground Rules Match

Sharper: “Shorty Jr. wanted to face Rachel Foxx. He got her attention by attacking Alex Desoubrais Jr. but has he unleashed something big?”

Kayl: “Rachel Foxx is at her most scary when she’s pissed off. Believe me, she is pissed off and Shorty Jr. may be regretting making this challenge.”

Warren James vs. Shaun Cruze

SCW Adrenaline Championship

Dawson: “Shaun Cruze won the Adrenaline Championship last month on Night Two of Riding the Lightning weekend. This time, however, things are different. Champion and challenger both can prepare. Cruze won with twenty-four hours preparation.”

Kayl: “These two respect the hell out of each other and they are going to give it their all, but expect a hell of a match from these two. They will do anything to put the other away and they WILL leave it all in the ring.”

Thorn, Gable Winchester & Stacy Kissinger vs. Ravyn Taylor, Syren & Holly Adams

Sharper: “Infamous continues to be a thorn, no pun intended, in the side of Thorn, Winchester, Kissinger, and others, including David Helms. They stepped up to prevent Infamous from being a factor in the World Championship match but can they also stop all of this momentum Infamous has gained.”

Kayl: “It pains me to say it, but Infamous is dominant. This last month they have been almost unstoppable. Thorn, Gable and Stacy have to dig deep. Cut them off at the head. That would be Ravyn Taylor!”

The Forty Individual Taking Hold of the Flame Battle Royal

Winner Gets a World Championship shot at Rise to Greatness

Dawson: “For the first time since 2008...Taking Hold of the Flame is at forty entrants!”

Sharper: “The winner will get their shot at the World Title at Rise to Greatness. But the odds have gotten steeper. Think of all of the names involved: Shawn Winters, Lucas Knight, Christy Matthews, James Evans, Warren James, Chad Evans, Jason Zero, Masquerade Dillusion, it goes on and on.”

Kayl: “Forty guys. That’s ridiculous. You have to hope for a late draw. And let’s not forget. Greg Cherry may be back involved. In any case, luck of the draw with amazing high stakes.”

The Taking Hold of the Flame logo comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “The Road to Rise to Greatness officially begins this Sunday. Who will earn the opportunity to be in the main event for the World Championship? Who will win the battle royal? What will the title picture look like?”

Dawson: “And just looking at tonight, this Sunday, with the stakes increased, I will say this. People will be looking for get their name out there and make that historic impact. That’s how important this Sunday can be!”

Sharper: “It’s this Sunday, live from Miami, Florida, the American Airlines Arena. Taking Hold of the Flame 2011! What a night it will be!”

The music switches to “Rescue Me” as we then see Shilo Valiant, with both the World and United States Championship belts over his shoulders, step out of his locker room and make his first appearance of the night. The crowd cheers seeing him as he starts to make his way to the tunnel.

Sharper: “And there is the World Champion, the United States Champion and he’s got a hungry opponent here tonight. He faces James Evans when we return!”

The scene then slowly fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

James Evans vs. Shilo Valiant

"New Low" begins to blare through the PA system and the crowd begins booing as the arena lights begin to flicker along with the beat of the music. Out from behind the curtain comes James Evans, decked out in black trench coat and a hood over his head, walking slowly. James keeps his eyes focused on the ring. James slides in underneath the bottom rope. James slowly stands up, then walks to the opposite corner and climbs the top rope, then slowly removes his hood and stares out at the crowd as they boo. He smirks at them, before hopping off of the top rope and waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “James Evans here is going to have an opportunity to perhaps at least put in that same sentence as all the top contenders if he can defeat Shilo Valiant.”

Dawson: “He wanted to see if he could be added to the World Championship match this Sunday if he defeated Shilo Valiant. Bringing up the fact he defeated David Helms when he was champion and still has not received a World Championship opportunity.”

Kayl: “Yeah. But he got lucky. Granted, he made his name with the Adrenaline Championship, as of late, he’s been struggling.”

Dawson: “He does hold a pinfall victory on Shilo Valiant, technically speaking, at Riding the Lightning.”

Kayl: “Didn’t Destiny Nichols get that pin?”

Sharper: “She did.”

The audience rise to their feet in cheers as a woman screams the word "NECRO!" across the sound system!

So hold on until it's over

Oh!
Do you know what you got into
Can you handle what I'm 'bout to do
'Cause it's about to get rough for you
I'm here for your entertainment

The spotlight and camera search around the arena as "I'm Here for Your Entertainment" by Adam Lambert screams through the arena, the cameras and lights trying to locate the elusive Necro-Merchant. They quickly spot a growing fog near the entryway of the ramp.

Oh!
I bet you thought that I was soft and sweet
You thought an angel swept you off your feet
But I'm about to turn up the heat
I'm here for your entertainment

The fans yells only grow louder as from seeming below the ground, Shilo shoots out of the ground as fireworks shoot out around him, the neon lights causing his face and colored hair to glow in eerie colors. Landing on the ground, Shilo spins around on the spot, marveling at the massive audience and shouting back at them. The word "Necro" is heard again, which Shilo returns by shouting the same word.

'Sall right
You'll be fine
Baby I'm in control
Take the pain
Take the pleasure
I'm the master of both
Close your eyes, not your mind
Let me into your soul
I'm gonna work it 'til your totally blown

Making his way down the ramp, he takes out two vial guns from his belt and holds them up, his feet planted as blue fire shoots from the stage behind him. As the fire raises then dies, the lights return to normal, revealing Shilo in full color. The SCW World and United States Championship belts sit over his shoulders.

No escaping when I start
Once I'm in I own your heart
There's no way to ring the alarm
So hold on 'til it's over

Making his way to the audience, Shilo is approached by fans who hand him money for a hit from his vial guns of necro. As he takes the payment and gives the fan what they want, both Shilo and the fans yell Necro.

Oh!
Do you know what you got into
Can you handle what I am about to do
'Cause it's about to get rough for you
I'm here for your entertainment

Returning to the ring, Shilo tosses the now empty guns away and slides into the ring, staying on his stomach to view the hungry crowd. Standing up, he makes his way over to the turnbuckle, jumps on and shouts to the fans and finger shooting them as if he still had his vial guns.

I'M HERE FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT!

Sharper: “Shilo Valiant, the World Champion. The United States Champion and undefeated since Riding the Lightning: Night Two.”

Kayl: “Yeah. His last loss actually was to James Evans, Gunner Wayne and Destiny Nichols at Night One of that event.”

Sharper: “James Evans is hoping to stop that, but he didn’t get the assurances he wanted. He wanted a title shot if he won. He didn’t want to be screwed, as he put it, when he wins. Again. His words.”

The bell sounds and Shilo Valiant drops down before sliding off his titles and James Evans runs across the ring and nails Shilo with a running forearm shot to the jaw. He then nails him with another shot as both titles fall to the floor. The crowd boos and the referee slides the titles out of the ring as James Evans nails Shilo with a hard right and then another. Shilo walks along the ropes and James Evans follows him before kicking him in the ribs. He then hits a chop and the crowd woos. James Evans then grabs Shilo and pulls him out of the corner before kneeing him in the ribs. He then drives his elbow into the back of Shilo. James then jumps up and dropkicks Shilo in the side of the head. Shilo rolls over and slowly gets up. He then turns to James and James scoops him up and slams him down. Shilo slowly gets back up and James grabs him in a headlock and nails him with a palm strike to the face. Shilo falls to a knee and James then kicks him in the ribs before whipping him into the ropes. Shilo bounces off the ropes and James nails him with a spin kick to the ribs before jumping up and facebustering him down into the ring.

Sharper: “James Evans fighting hard early on. His aggressiveness has knocked Shilo Valiant off-kilter.”

Dawson: “Shilo Valiant has been on the defensive the entire time. James Evans wants to make a point here!”

James Evans gets up and walks around the ring. Shilo stirs and James Evans runs over and hits a quick elbow drop. He then rolls him over and goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Through the ropes. James Evans takes down the champion!”

Kayl: “Damn. If he was this motivated all the time, we could be seeing him have more success!”

Dawson: “Shilo needs to figure something out. The last thing he needs before this Sunday is to have an injury. Especially if he wants to retain the World Championship or give that entertainment he keeps talking about.”

Shilo winces and James Evans then walks over to him and grabs him before turning and rolling him into the ring. James Evans rolls in afterwards and crawls over to him and hooks the leg.

Shilo rubs his eyes and James runs towards him and attempts a clothesline, but Shilo ducks. James stops and Shilo nails him with an elbow before grabbing him by the head. He attempts the E-Factor, but James pushes him off and Shilo flips back and lands on his feet. James however quickly drills him with the Dorm Daze and Shilo falls forward and to the mat as James Evans falls to his knees.

Sharper: “Superkick out of nowhere!”

Kayl: “Literally. The moment he had the opening, he took it. No hesitation!”

Dawson: “Shilo is wishing he hesitated. He may have been able to duck it and save him a headache and whiplash.”

Kayl: “He may be wishing the rapture had happened to avoid that kick!”

James pulls himself up and smiles before grabbing Shilo and lifting him up. He then knees him in the ribs before hooking him up and lifting him onto his shoulders. He then goes to spin him off, but Shilo lands on his feet. He then hoists James Evans up and drops him on the ropes near him. James falls back and rolls over before starting to get up. Shilo falls over and starts to get up and James Evans then gets up and Chad Evans starts to pull himself up. James Evans then looks at him and shrugs as the referee moves in and goes to tell Chad to leave the ring. Chad Evans can be seen saying “You can thank me later” to James Evans before kicking him right between the legs. The crowd ohs and the referee calls for the bell and Chad Evans smirks. He then runs over to Shilo Valiant as he gets up and boots him in the face, knocking him over to the apron. Chad Evans then looks at him and smiles.

Sharper: “What the hell? Chad Evans just took out James Evans and gave James Evans the win via disqualification.”

Kayl: “He said he can thank him later?!”

Dawson: “What the hell?”

Sharper: “And wait a minute! Wait a minute! It’s Jason Zero!”

Kayl: “Ah God damn it!”

Jason Zero slides into the ring and Chad Evans turns around only for Jason Zero to run at him and spear him down. The crowd roars and Zero rolls over and gets up. He then looks at Chad Evans before looking at Shilo and then Donovan Kayl. He then steps through the ropes and down to the floor. Zero then walks over to the timekeeper and the camera turns to show the World Championship. Zero grabs it and smiles as the crowd boos.

Kayl: “That’s not yours!”

Zero turns to Donovan Kayl and the SCW Announcers before looking at him.

Zero: “So you’re going to stop me from getting to this?!”

Zero smirks before turning and rolling back into the ring. He then gets up and holds the title over his head. The crowd boos and Zero just smiles as he closes his eyes and enjoys the feeling before we see Shilo stirring. Zero then runs over and boots him in the head as the crowd boos more. Zero then backs up before we then see Shawn Winters sliding into the ring. He then gets up and smiles as Zero turns around, assuming the ring is still empty, only for Winters to drop him with the Graven Image. The crowd roars and boos as Winters then grabs Zero and hoists him up before turning and throwing him over the top rope and to the floor. Zero rolls to the floor. Winters turns around and looks at the World Championship. He then smiles as he grabs this. The crowd boos louder and Winters stops before turning it to him and reaching into his pocket. He reveals a black marker and pulls the cap off with his teeth before spitting it away and then writing on the nameplate. He then turns it around and hoists it over his head as the camera zooms it revealing over “Shilo Valiant”, now “Shawn Winters.”

Dawson: “Straight up disrespect!”

Sharper: “We’ve talked about how confident Shawn Winters is and right there may just show just how. Putting his name on the title!”

Kayl: “He says he’s going to win the battle royal and then at Rise to Greatness. Come on. That’s just pathetic!”

Shawn Winters continues to hold the title over his head as the crowd boos. Shilo starts to get up and Winters then walks over to him and holds it in his face before we then see Christy Matthews with Lucas Knight in tow behind her. Christy slides into the ring and Winters turns around and runs at her and attempts to nail her with the title belt, only for Christy to duck. Lucas then runs in and tackles Shawn Winters down. The crowd roars and Christy stomps away at Winters as Lucas holds him down. He then gets up. Winters rolls over and Christy and Lucas continue to stomp away.

Sharper: “Christy Matthews! Lucas Knight! And they’ve had their issues with Shawn Winters in the past!”

Dawson: “Hey! Why not?!”

Just then, the crowd explodes in cheers as Greg Cherry runs out from the back. Greg slides into the ring and gets up and Christy turns only for Greg to nail her with a clothesline. He then turns and nails Lucas Knight with a hard shot, knocking him back. Greg turns around and Christy gets up before falling back and Greg jumps up and tackles her up and over the top rope. Christy rolls over and starts to get up and Greg gets up and nails her with a hard right and then another. Christy stumbles back and hops over the barricade. Greg goes to follow her as we then see David Helms run down from the back.

Sharper: “Greg Cherry is taking out Christy Matthews.”

Kayl: “The number one contender is in the house!”

Sharper: “This crowd is coming unglued!”

Greg continues to follow Christy through the crowd as Lucas turns and Helms hops onto the apron and enters the ring. Winters gets up and Helms grabs him and turns before throwing him through the ropes and turns around before Lucas kicks him in the ribs. He then spins him around and goes to go for the UKOD, but Helms blocks it and spins out before grabbing Knight and planting him with the New Jersey Neckbreaker! The crowd erupts in cheers and Knight rolls out of the ring. Helms then looks down and sees the World Championship. Shilo Valiant starts to finally get up. Helms then grabs the World Championship and looks at it as the crowd roars some more. Valiant turns to him and Helms slowly looks up at him.

Sharper: “Could David Helms be back on top of the world as the World Champion?”

Helms then extends the title back to Shilo Valiant. Valiant takes it and Helms lets go before backing up. He then turns and steps through the ropes and starts to head to the back. Valiant looks at Helms before looking at the World Championship as Helms’ theme music starts to play throughout the arena.

Sharper: “A sign of respect from the number one contender. But can Shilo Valiant defeat David Helms this Sunday? Will he still hold that title?”

Kayl: “And who will get the shot at that title at Rise to Greatness?”

Sharper: “What a night, this Sunday will. What a night tonight was. All I can say, this Sunday, at Taking Hold of the Flame, the Road to Rise to Greatness begins!”

The scene then slowly fades to black...
