The SCW logo then appears on the screen before evaporating into smoke and the scene fades to black.

The scene then switches to the inside of the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina where spotlights circle the arena before pyro shoots out from the entrance way on both sides and around the big screen before coming to a stop. The crowd erupts in cheers as the cameras pan the audience, showing the crowd, cheering and waving their signs, hoping to get onto camera. Spotlights circle the arena before we sweep down to ringside to see Adam Sharper and Shawn Winters at ringside.

Sharper: “Welcome everyone to the Carolinas as we are here in Charlotte! We are just days away from Taking Hold of the Flame. Adam Sharper alongside Shawn Winters here. Jonathan Knots to come, but tonight, a lot of people are going to watch this one. Main event, Shaun Cruze and Donovan Kayl!”

Winters: “That’s right. If Kayl wins, big win going into the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. If Shaun Cruze wins, he gets more momentum as he heads into his defense against Simon Lyman!”

Sharper: “Not just that, with the battle royal this Sunday, who is going to want to make a statement?”

Winters: “Everyone. You know it. I know it. And not only that, Tommy Valentine will face Dylan Howell. You think the two of them aren’t going to want to make a statement?”

The arena erupts as the opening to ‘Rise’ hits over the PA system, signaling the arrival of Shaun Cruze. Throughout the opening of the song, mist has filled the entrance way. Suddenly, laser beams fire from the back, piercing through the mist and hitting each of the four turnbuckles of the ring. Shaun walks through the mist, standing at the entrance way turning his head first to the left, and then right. He stands at the top of the stage with the SCW World Championship over his shoulder.

He then starts to make his way down to the ring, ignoring the fans as they boo him. He continues on his way before reaching the base of the entrance way and walking over to the steel steps. He walks up them before entering the ring.

Winters: “And the champ is here. He’s gonna have something to say.”

Sharper: “Last week, Simon Lyman finally snapped and went after him. And now, Simon Lyman fired up. The whole situation between him and Trinity and Kennedy getting to him. Cruze is trying to exploit that.”

Winters: “And why wouldn’t you?! It’s smart! It gets in the head of your opponent!”

Cruze enters the ring and looks around as the crowd boos some more. He just smirks before walking over to the corner and asking for a microphone. He’s handed one and he walks back over to the middle of the ring. He just smirks as he enjoys the negative reaction as he looks around.

Cruze: “Ah come on. That’s all I get?!”

Cruze smiles as he looks around and hears the continued boos.

Cruze: “Now you may want to shut up so I can tell Simon Lyman how badly he’s going to lose this Sunday?!”

The crowd boos as Cruze smiles and looks around. The boos continue for a few moments as Cruze then starts to talk.

Cruze: “You may notice that I don’t have Kennedy out here. I don’t have the rest of Imperium out here. Now before you start thinking this has anything to do with your tantrum last week Simon, it doesn’t. I just need to make sure you’re thinking about me and not about Kennedy’s sexy, flawless body!”

Cruze pauses as the crowd boos some.

Cruze: “But you apparently have a problem with some of my comments last week. You don’t like the fact that I made it clear that Imperium isn’t going to be happy with anything less than you and Trinity learning your place. It’s not on top. No…sorry, but even when you had your little tryst, that still was Kennedy’s spot. No Simon, you need to realize that while you and Trinity were something big elsewhere, you have one big strike against you….you’re facing me. And she’s facing Kennedy. But I’ll allow Kennedy to deal with Trinity. This will just be you and I talking for a moment here. So cameraman…come here…”

Cruze turns and motions to the nearest cameraman.

Cruze: “Get up on the apron. Get all settled. Don’t need you falling off the apron like an idiot.”

The cameraman starts to get up.

Sharper: “Thinks he’s now the director.”

Winters: “He’s making a point here Adam!”

The cameraman gets situated.

Cruze: “You good?”

Cruze waits for a response.

Cruze: “Now just focus on me. Don’t worry about the idiots behind me or whoever in the crowd is looking to make themselves a star. No one will care about them tomorrow. They’ll care about me and Simon…you better be listening!”

The crowd boos as Cruze puts himself right in the view of the camera.

Cruze: “See Simon…I am what a champion looks like. You may not like what I say, but the fact is…if you weren’t so easy to melt, I wouldn’t bother trying. But the problem is that you end up putting yourself in horrible situations. It looks like you’ve got a lot of skeletons in your closet and they’ve constantly held you back. Well Simon, use the fact that Trinity is going to be Kennedy’s bitch this Sunday as your motivator. Even though the fact that THIS is on the line should be all you need…but that’s the problem…you’re thinking about everything else. You were thinking about your daddy…about Foxx….about your family…and now about Kennedy and Trinity. And now, at Taking Hold of the Flame, you’ve got me one on one. It’s funny…because if Mr. D actually liked ya, you’d be going into the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. You could hope that you could get lucky, catch lightning in the bottle, get the right moment and win it all. But now, you have to face me. You won’t be helping your wife…she probably doesn’t want it anyways. You won’t be getting Kennedy. All you’ve got are these pathetic fans…a friend in Donovan Kayl who I’ll be using to send a message to you later tonight…and your title hopes. And I plan to dash those quite good and stamp my ticket for the main event to Rise to Greatness. Sorry Simon…you’re going to need to find another way to book that flight!”

Cruze steps back as “Rise” starts to play. Cruze turns and tells the cameraman to get back. He however keeps filming Cruze for a moment before going down as Cruze places the microphone in the middle of the ring, right on the canvas. He then turns and smirks as the crowd boos. Cruze walks over to the ropes and exits the ring.

Sharper: “Shaun Cruze damn confident about his chances this Sunday.”

Winters: “And why wouldn’t he be? He’s made it clear. He’s in Simon’s head and Simon is worrying about everything else. Plus, when you’re this close to the biggest pay day in your career, heading into the biggest events, when you’re on top…you’re going to do anything to win!”

Sharper: “Shaun Cruze faces Simon Lyman this Sunday. Later tonight, he faces Donovan Kayl. Simon is here. And I’m sure he’ll have something to say about this.”

Cruze continues on his way up the rampway before turning around and mocking the fans some more. He then smirks before continuing on his way to the back.

The scene opens up backstage as we see Silas Mason walking out to the loading bay to see Chris Cannon stepping out of a car. We then see the passenger side open as well as Kraven Wallace gets up.

Silas: “Relax guys…not time for Flyboy to get his penance.”

Chris: “Penance?”

Silas: “Ya know what I mean. Ya don’t get yer fight quite yet and I’m not gonna have it here. Too important to do it here when Mr. D can send his damn security fiends out here to break it up just before it gets good!”

Silas just shakes his head.  Chris goes to say something before Kraven cuts him off.

Kraven: “So what’s the plan?”

Silas just smirks.

Silas: “Drive off. Tell Stacy her plan will continue. As for flyboy here…Chris…when I call Kraven, you guys can come get me and we’ll have our fun. Sound good.”

Chris: “Fine.”

Silas: “Consider this just a nice post-marriage gift…”

Chris just glares at Silas as he returns to the car. Silas then turns to Kraven.

Silas: “Don’t let him watch the show.”

Kraven nods before returning to the car himself. Silas then turns and walks off. The driver turns the ignition.

Sharper: “What’s that supposed to mean?”

Winters: “I don’t know, but Silas has plans!”

Sharper: “I don’t like the sound of that at all…”

The car starts to reverse as the scene cuts to ringside.

Soopaman Luva vs. Tristan Bates

Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.

The lights go out in the arena and almost immediately a piano starts to play the opening keys to “Dark Psychotic” as Tristan Bates laugh blends in on the PA system with the music.

Phillips: Coming to ring first and weighing in at 242 pounds.....TRISTAN BATES!

Bates makes his way down to the rings, black trenchcoat covering his body, with a hook over his head, covering much of his face, all that is visible is the mouth and beard of Tristan Bates. Bates slowly makes his way down to the ring. Tristan doesn’t crack a smile, doesn’t look around, just focuses on the ring, as the dark music continues to play.

Sharper: Well here comes a man that has a lot of people talking in SCW since his arrival. Both talented and odd Tristan Bates is a man who has seen nothing but success thus far in his tenure here.

Winters: Odd? Why don't you say what you mean Sharper. This guy scares the hell out of you, because I'll be honest and say he does me too. What he did to Alex Desoubrais Jr. a couple weeks back showed how scary he can be.

Bates slowly climbs the stairs and into the ring and finally takes the trenchcoat off, revealing a sinister smile as The lights go out as "Still Ballin'" by Tupac ft. Trick Daddy hits the PA system."

Phillips: His opponent, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and weighing 179 pounds.........THE SOOPAMAN LUVA!!

Now ever since a nigga was a seed
Only thing promised to me was the penitentiary, still ballin'
Riding on these niggas cause they lameIn a '61 Chevy, still heavy in this game, can you feel me?
Blame it on my momma I'm a thug igga, Up before the sun rise, quicker than the drug deala's
Tell me if it's on, nigga then we first to bomb, Bust on these bitch-made nigga  hit em up,Westside!
Ain't nobody love me as a broke niggaa, Finger on the trigga' Lord forgive me if I smoke niggasI
I love my females strapped, I'll fuck her from the back...

At the start of that first verse the Soopaman Luva walks out from backstage as the lights turn on wearing a black du-rag with a black hat turned backwards on top of it, a fresh "#1 Derrick Rose Chicago Bulls" white basketball jersey with red letters, and blue jean shrts. He then walks down still waving his hands up until he sees a random sexy looking chick in the ground and walks over and asks for her number,

Now everybody wanna see us dead, 2 murdered on the front page, shot to death, bullets to the head
Niggaz holla out my name and it's similar to rape
Motherfuckers know I'm comin, so they runnin to they graves,
Swoop down with my nigga from the Pound
Cause {Trick} don't give a fuck, where you coward niggaz now,
Blast Keep pumpin, ain't worried bout nuttin
Busters thought we was frontin, so reload and keep dumpin

Sharper: Always a great time for the fans when the one and only The Soopaman Luva comes to town, and tonight he is looking to become the first person to put a loss on the young career ledger of Tristan Bates.

Winters: Yeah good luck to him with that too. I know he has not been here for long, but with the way Bates has looked so far since arriving in SCW, it might take Superman to keep him down.

He pulls out a pen out his pocket and writes the number on his hand. He then gives a girl a kiss and then chucks the pen somewhere to the floor and walks towards the ring and slides under the bottom rope. He jumps onto the top turnbuckle and continues to wave his hands to pump the crowd up as they cheer. He then hops down and takes off his jersey before throwing it into the audience and get ready for the match as the rest of the song plays out.

As soon as the bell rings, Bates comes out aggressively, looking to take Luva's head off with a clothesline. Luva sees him coming however and quickly sidesteps, causing Bates to run head long into the turnbuckles. He staggers out a little and Luva takes the opporutnity to roll him up with a quick schoolboy from behind

Bates kicks out but Luva comes right at him keeping the pressure on as he pulls him up and hits a lightning fast snap suplex. Luva rolls up off from the canvas hanging on to the front face lock to bring Bates up with him as well, and hits a second snap suplex as the crowd roars.

Sharper: Soopaman Luva not backing down at all from Tristan Bates, and right now it is the relative newcomer Bates who is used to being on the offense back on his heels!

Luva rolls up again with Bates in tow, and goes for a third straight snap suplex. Bates blocks the suplex this time though before clubbing Luva across the back of the neck and shoulders with a couple of stiff forearm shots, then countering into a front suplex that not only drops Luva on his face, ribs, and stomach, but launches him a third of the way across the ring too.

Winters: You were saying about Bates being back on his heels? Soopaman just took flight on Breakdown.

Luva is down on the mat clutching his ribs, but the eccentric Bates does not make a cover after approaching him, instead choosing to lay down besides him clutching his own ribs in the same fashion while looking into Luva's eyes and then starting to....

Sharper: He's singing to Soopaman Luva. That's right folks, do not adjust your television sets, Tristan Bates is lying on the canvas next to The Soopaman Luva, singing to him.

Winters: More specifically, I can hear the words, I believe Bates is singing Luva's own entrance music “Still Ballin” to the man. This guy continues to redefine creepy, that's all I am going to say.

Even in pain, Luva starts looking at Bates like he is crazy and tries to push himself off the canvas, though its unclear whether he is trying to recover or just get away from Bates. However, Bates grabs him and turns Luva over so he is on top of Bates and starts to repeatedly head butt him furious while managing somehow to keep his shoulder off of the mat. After about seven head butts, Bates drops Luva to the canvas next to him and goes for the cover.

After the failed pin attempt, Bates yanks Luva up from the canvas and carries him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, before placing him to sit on the top turnbuckle. Luva is still woozy and looks like he might fall off of the turnbuckle. Bates meanwhile extends his arms all of the way out and mimics the movements of a child pretending to fly around while looking at Luva and asking

“Look at me, I'm Superman, do you love me?

Sharper: I don't even think I need to comment on that, it speaks for itself as far as I am concerned.

Winters: I've never seen anyone like him before in this sport, there's no doubt about that. And if I saw anyone like him outside of this sport, I'd try to have him committed. In fact that still might not be a bad idea.

Luva shows that he may have been playing a little bit of possum though, standing up on the top rope and hitting a missle dropkick on the unsuspecting Bates before the big man knows what hit him. With Bates down, Luva doesn't waste anytime, bouncing off the ropes and hitting a rolling senton back splash before going for the cover and hooking both legs

Bates kicks out right at two again, and scurries over to the ropes his head hanging on the middle rope looking out toward the crowd. Seeing his opponent in this position, Luva throws one hand in the air bringing many of the fans to their again cheering wildly...

Sharper: It could be time for “2Much Luv” and the fans here in Charlotte can sense it as Soopaman Luva looks to finish off Tristan Bates, Shawn!

Winters: Well he better do it quickly because I have a feeling he isn't likely to get too many opportunities he can capitalize on like the one he has now with this guy!

With Bates still on his knees up against the ropes in a guillotine position, Luva run and bounces off the ropes at the other end of the ring for momentum then launches himself into a tiger feint kick right at Bates' head. Stunning everyone watching though and most assuredly Luva himself Bates catches him by the legs before the kick ever connects. Bates then viciously hammers Luva a couple more times in the ribs before starting to laugh. Standing up, he drags Luva out from between the ropes to the middle of the ring and still laughing he hits the Death Drop Bates then makes the lateral press for the cover

Phillips: Here is your winner.....TRISTAN BATES!!

Sharper: Well Soopaman Luva gave it his best effort, but in the end too much Tristan Bates for another opponent.

Winters: This guy is on a roll, and I'm not sure how many people would even want to get in the ring with him, as creepy as he is.

Sharper: I agree, and he will be one of 40 entrants in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal this Sunday in Atlanta.

Bates rolls off Luva with a sick grin on his face, kicking him on the ribs a few times before having his hand raised by the referee.

Sharper: Imagine that man in the main event, challenging for the World Championship at Rise to Greatness .

Winters: A scary thought, but something that is certainly not our of the realm of possibilities Sharper.

Bates exits the ring, starting to laugh again as he heads backstage, with the scene fading out.

COMMERCIAL:

Breakdown returns as we see Marisa Condolesa standing with William Mason and Cameron Chase backstage. The crowd boos seeing them.

Condolesa: “Welcome back to Breakdown. I am here with William Mason and Cameron Chase and since last week’s match against Gable Winchester, both of you have been making quite a stir on twitter.”

Mason: “Where to begin? Well, how about with the obvious. Tommy Valentine prevented me from getting my revenge for what Gable Winchester did. He attacked Cameron Chase and I am not going to let my wife get assaulted like that.”

Condolesa: “That seemed to be an accident-“

Mason: “Exactly what he is hoping. But he’s not like that. He’ll take cheap shots and he did just that. I just wanted to extract a bit of a lesson from that match and Tommy interfered. Now Cameron may have thrown out a challenge to Gable. She may have not. We’ll see if Gable is man enough to accept, but tonight, Tommy, he’s in action…this Sunday, he and I will do battle and now I want to kick his ass more than ever before. Well, that’s exactly what I’m going to do then…and tonight…I’ll show Tommy why you don’t involve yourself in my affairs.”

Mason turns as Cameron just smiles at Marisa as we then cut back to the ring.

Dylan Cent vs. Collin Cole vs. Ace Watson

The lights go out completely with a sudden flash. SmashMix begins to play it's slow calm intro. A spotlight appears in the centre of the stage, it flickers off for three seconds and when it comes back on Ace Watson is standing in the spotlight with his head down and hood up.

YOU'RE MINE!

Ace starts to walk down the ramp confidently, but keeping his head low. The spotlight follows him on his way. As he gets to the end of the ramp he stops, raises his head and looks directly at the ring. His eyes looking focussed and he stands in a way that makes him look like he is ready for a fight. He then walks up to the nearest ring steps and walks up them, he stands next to the ring post for a second then enters the ring underneath the top rope. He walks into the middle of the ring and pulls back his hood, he looks at the crowd and for the first time actually looks at them and acknowledges that they are there. He unzips his jacket and takes it off, then throws it to ringside where a ringside technician keeps hold of it until after the match. Ace then stands in one of the corners ready for the match.

Sharper: “Ace Watson looking to get back to the winning side of things here. He’s going to have an uphill battle against two tough wrestlers also looking to get something going.”

Winters: “Yeah, except that we’re going to have to see who wants it more. Cole and Cent are in the battle royal. I’ll say it time and time again. Momentum means something!”

“Ladies and Gentlemen” starts to play. The crowd cheers a bit as Dylan Cent walks out from the back with Crystal Ward. The two look down to the ring before making their way down the rampway. Cent rolls into the ring and looks at Ace Watson. He just looks at him before backing up into a neutral corner.

Sharper: “Dylan Cent may be still hurting from last week when the Watsons jumped him.”

Winters: “Hey. He has no one to blame but himself. He wants to draw attention to himself by complaining, all the power to him. That’s why Twitter’s going to be the death of some people.”

The opening riff to "Smooth Sailing" hits the PA system and the fans begin to boo. The song eventually kicks into gear. Collin Cole, El Rudo, Alexis Quinne and Collin's heavy Solomon Strange, or Grundy, soon emerge from the curtains. Collin is sporting a black long sleeve jacket with red trim and a white design of two pairs of wings on the back and the hood of his jacket down. Grundy's sporting a black jumpsuit with a red falcon on the back with "Falconry" written in bold black and red letters. El Rudo has a microphone in one hand and a white bag of powder in the other. Alexis looks on before she knuckle pounds Collin. Collin extends his right hand and holds his thumb, pointer finger and middle fingers out and stands in place before the four start walking down the ramp.

Ring Announcer:From San Francisco, California, weighing in at twenty hundred and fifty pounds, Collin Cole!

It's all in motion
No stoppin' now
I've got nothin' to lose
And only one way up

I'm burning bridges
I destroy the mirage
Oh, visions of collisions
Fuckin 'bon voyage

Collin walks down the ramp as sarcastically shrugs at the boos he's receiving. El Rudo rambles some words in Japanese on the microphone as Grundy groans in a frantic manner as the fans heckle him, even goes so far as kicking the padded barricade a few times, scarring some of the audience members in the front. Collin slowly starts unfastening his jacket, revealing the new black and red 'Falconry" t-shirt. Collin looks around while his hands inside his pockets and look s at the crowd with his lackadaisical look before he starts heading up the steel steps. Alexis and El Rudo follow suit and proceed to scream at the top of their lungs towards the camera before Grundy suddenly comes and kicks the cameraman down.

It's all smooth sailing
From here on out

Collin walks onto the apron and looks at the crowd and sarcastically throws his arms up when they boo him. Collin then jumps over the top rope and soon circles around the ring before walking up to a nearby corner and ascends the turnbuckle. The crowd boos as Collin looks around and runs as hand through his hair before jumping off. El Rudo and Alexis Quinne soon hop on the apron as Grundy starts pacing back and forth on the outside. Collin lays his head on the top turnbuckle; awaiting for the match to start while El Rudo and Alexis continue to stand on the apron. While Grundy is on the outside, El Rudo is still rambling on the microphone on the apron to the crowd's dismay.

Sharper: “The whole gang is out here and that’s something to look out for.”

Winters: “Damn right. And you know what. You use what you got. You have friends. Use them. All this crap about straight up. Sorry, but the business is wins and losses!”

The bell sounds and Watson runs over to Cent and kicks him in the ribs. He then clubs him in the back before clubbing him again and again. Cole heads over and joins Watson and the two of them both start to kick away at the ribs of Cent. Crystal looks on concerned as Cent covers up and takes shot after shot after shot, dropping down to a seated position. Cole backs up as Watson starts to choke him a bit. The referee tells him to get away, counting, in hopes of a break.

Sharper: “Ace with a hard clothesline. Ace Watson a bit overconfident there.”

Winters: “Yeah. You just knocked him down. But all the power to you there.”

Sharper: “Cent now in control. A couple of suplexes on Cole and now he needs to take someone out.”

Winters: “Get someone out of the ring. Don’t try to keep fighting both of your opponents.”

Cent turns and goes to Ace and kicks him in the ribs. He turns and whips him out of the corner. Ace hits the opposite corner. Cent runs after and clotheslines Ace in the corner. He backs up and pulls him in and grabs him, but Ace elbows his way out of it. Cent stumbles around and Ace kicks him in the ribs before turning and throwing him shoulder first into the ringpost. Ace starts to get up and turns back to Cole. Cole grabs him and spins out with a tornado DDT. He then rolls over and hooks the leg.

The crowd roars. Cole gets up and Cent grabs him and throws him up and over the top rope to the floor. Cole hits hard and rolls to the barricade.

Sharper: “Cole to the floor! Cent going for Ace Watson!”

Winters: “Well why not! He’s still trying to figure out what city he’s in!”

Ace Watson stirs, but Cent dives onto him and quickly grabs his head and arm and locks in the Crown Jewel. The crowd roars as Cent yells out. Cole slowy stirs and uses the barricade to pull himself up. Ace yells in pain and reaches around, trying to kick at the ropes with his feet. Cent keeps pulling back and Cole gets to the ring as Ace starts to tap. The crowd roars and Cent lets go and rolls to the floor. He jogs back as Crystal joins him and raises his arm. Cole looks up and throws his arms up. Grundy just glares at Cent.

Sharper: “And Dylan Cent makes Ace Watson tap! Cent gets the win here tonight in Charlotte!”

Winters: “Cole isn’t too happy to say the least. Collin Cole was about to get back in there, but Watson couldn’t hold on.”

Sharper: “It may not be the Watson Cent would’ve liked to make tap with that hold, but he got a big win just days before he’s one of the forty in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal this Sunday!”

The crowd cheers Cent as Cent and Crystal continue on their way to the back. Cole just shakes his head in disbelief as Quinne comes around to him. Rudo stands at the bottom of the ramp, trying to goad Cent back down. Cent ignores him and continues to the back as we cut backstage.

We open up backstage to see Rachel Foxx talking to Richard Lyman as Ba’al and Cassidy Carter are also around. We then hear a knock at the wall before we see Silas Mason walk in and with him is Harmony Fisher. Fisher is in front of him. Silas intentionally remains behind her.

Foxx: “Oh this is rich-“

Silas: “Relax…relax…don’t need y’all gettin’ all uppity. That can be left to the other Texan ya know. I came here not to cause trouble...I came here because I have a problem with yer little friend Rachel Frost.”

Foxx: “That’s a shame. Because her and I tend to have a lot in common.”

Silas: “And that’s a bit while I’m here…before ya try to just take a shot at my head with yer little sledgehammer over there only to hurt this pretty flower in front of me here…I know ya tend to not turn down a fight.”

Foxx just looks to Richard before turning to Cassidy and Ba’al and turning back and nodding.

Foxx: “I’m listening.”

Silas: “In a little while, get in yer cars and follow me when I leave. I’ll give ya nice fight to say the least.”

Foxx: “You want me for one of these street fights…and away from security. I’m intrigued, Mr. Mason.”

Silas: “Good…see ya then….”

Silas turns and starts to walk off before stopping and turning back.

Silas: “And feel free ta tell Frost where we’re gonna be when we get there. May as well.”

Silas smirks as Harmony Fisher looks a bit concerned. Silas turns to her.

Silas: “Come on now Harmony…we need to go talk to our princess.”

Silas smiles as he walks off. Rachel just smiles a bit as she turns to Ba’al and Cassidy.

Foxx: “Pack up.”

Richard: “It’ll be fun to watch.”

Foxx: “I plan to ensure that.”

Foxx smiles as the scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns as we see Mikaela Street and CHBK standing backstage.

Mikaela: “So I’m not booked again. And not booked at Taking Hold of the Flame. I get to sit back and watch as all of the other Streets get their moment.”

CHBK: “How much of a moment is it? Trinity and Kennedy could kill each other. Regan…she’s got to get through forty.”

Mikaela: “Still, I should have one of those spots.”

CHBK: “I know. Then again, they didn’t even offer me a token spot. And I’m the first winner…and arguably the second. It’s a harsh reality. What the company should do and what they actually do are two different things. It’s a lesson many others should learn.”

Mikaela: “So then…we’re just going to sit back, find a bar, and watch it with the locals.”

CHBK just smirks.

CHBK: “But that wouldn’t be fun at all. Regan’s pissing her career down the drain-“

Mikaela: “That’s an understatement.”

CHBK just smiles, enjoying that response.

CHBK: “But you don’t want to be the Forgotten Street anymore, right?”

Mikaela: “Damn right.”

CHBK: “Then you and I, this Sunday, we’re going to make sure that’s the case. They’re not going to talk about Regan…or Trinity…or Kennedy. They’re going to be talking about Mikaela.”

Mikaela just smiles.

Mikaela: “Sounds perfect.”

CHBK: “Good….then we need to start doing some planning.”

CHBK wraps his arm around Mikaela and they start to head off as we cut back to the ring.

Winters: “I can’t wait to see what Mikaela does this Sunday now.”

Sharper: “With CHBK helping her plan…that’s not good for most.”

YOU BETTER BELIEVE!"

"The Ice Queen Instrumental" by Within Temptation brings forth a falling of snow along the ramp, while purple-blue lights in the design of snowflakes stream across the arena. A few moments pass before we see Dawn Lohan and Selena Frost, the SCW World Tag Team Champions, walk out from the back. They look out at the crowd as the crowd cheers. Selena and Dawn then start to walk down to the ring.

Sharper: “This Sunday, Selena Frost gets the match that she wants. She gets to challenge for the Adrenaline Championship before she’s one of the forty in the battle royal.”

Winters: “Yeah, but the trade off is happening too. Dawn Lohan and Selena Frost will defend their titles against the Watsons.”

Sharper: “The team of 4Saken…that’s what they’re calling themselves. They’re going to have to deal with the Watsons a lot.”

Selena reaches the ring and walks up the steel steps and enters the ring. Dawn hops onto the apron before entering into the ring too. They walk around and both go to opposite corners before climbing to the middle turnbuckle and posing. Selena then hops down and Dawn nods to Selena before Selena takes a microphone before turning and walking over to the middle of the ring.

Selena: “In a couple of days, I’m going to get my first shot at singles gold.”

The crowd cheers a bit. Dawn just applauds.

Selena: “Some have said that Dawn got her shot last month…I’m getting mine. But a lot of people have had a problem with my getting a shot. Now, I understand some people would have preferred me to jump through the hoop of a contendership match…but then again, I think I’ve made my point in this ring by taking on anyone I can, as often as I can, and holding my own.”

The crowd cheers as Selena looks around.

Selena: “Let’s be clear, the Watsons may be in a similar case. They may have beaten Liberation last week. But the fact is that they’ve not had months and months of dominating the division. But we’re fighting champions and we’re going to be defending these titles on a future edition of Breakdown. It’s only been decided I get the Adrenaline Championship shot first. And after that, I join Dawn in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. It’s a big night for 4Saken. We can show the world what we can and Dawn can show the world that her title shot was not a fluke and just a sign of things to come…just like I plan to do against Thomas Watson.”

Selena looks down as the crowd roars again and she gets another smile on her face. Dawn smiles too.

Selena: “Really, we need to teach those two that they can’t go running around and do whatever they want…making deals, being pricks, attacking people…”

Dawn just says “yeah.”

Selena: “And it starts this Sunday. They get the reality check they need. In fact, this Sunday may be another reality check at Taking Hold of the Flame. We won in the ten person war at Battle in Brooklyn. One sign. This Sunday…Simon Lyman…Trinity Street….Dawn and I….we make our presence felt and the cold wind is going to blow as Imperium finds out that they aren’t on top of the world as they keep saying…”

“The Ice Queen Instrumental” starts to play. Selena Frost hands the microphone back off to Jason Phillips. She turns around and Dawn Lohan raises Selena Frost’s hand. The crowd cheers as Selena just smiles before turning to Dawn. Dawn says something to her before the two turn and start to make their exit.

Sharper: “Selena Frost stating her piece. She’s going for the Adrenaline Championship.”

Winters: “That’s all well and good, but it’s a different beast than the Tag Titles and Thomas Watson…he’s going to look forward to making her tap.”

Sharper: “Well we’ll find out this Sunday. Selena Frost wants to knock Imperium down a bit and it’s a hell of a start if she wins the Adrenaline Championship this Sunday.”

Selena and Dawn continue on their way to the back before we go backstage.

We cut backstage to see Syren standing next to Jessica Winters backstage. The crowd cheers seeing Syren.

Jessica: “Syren, we are just days away from the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. You’ve got a Trios shot but you’re in the battle royal.”

Syren: “Exactly. I want to be in that main event, but if I’m going to get there, right now…I rather it be through that battle royal. That’s the night that people remember you for. The great run to finally winning. The coming out and making an impact. Who you threw out? Who you went after…”

She pauses for a moment.

Syren: “But I will do anything to get back to the main event. Last year, I went in as the champion. Shilo Valiant walked out. This year….no mistakes. No regrets…just the World Title. Oh…and everyone can be totally jealous.”

Syren smiles as she looks at the camera.

Sharper: “More Breakdown after this!”

The scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns and we open up backstage to see Marisa Condolesa backstage at the SCW interview area.

Condolesa: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, the number two entrant in the SCW Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal…Ben McCaron.”

McCaron walks into the view as the crowd boos.

Condolesa: “Now Ben, you’re just a couple of days away from the night you say you’re going to show off that this is your time.”

McCaron: “I’m not just going to show it off. I’m going to prove it. See, I should be the number one entrant, not some woman who comes and goes as she please-“

Just then, A$AP Scrappy comes into the picture.

Scrappy: “Yo, Benny! I need ta talk to you!”

McCaron: “We’re not wrestling until later.”

Scrappy: “We fight when I say we fight and you got something I want. That bitch Mary is number one. Well I want to be the first person to come out and knock her block off!”

McCaron just scoffs.

McCaron: “Yeah, that’s not going to happen. You wouldn’t know what to do with a spot like that let alone would I let you waste it.”

Scrappy: “Well that’s the problem…I didn’t say ya have a choice.”

Scrappy nails McCaron with a shot and McCaron is knocked back by it. The crowd roars. Marisa backs up and Scrappy grabs him again and throws him back into the set. Scrappy then grabs him and starts to choke him.

Scrappy: “Now give me that damn spot!”

McCaron struggles for a moment before he kicks Scrappy in the knee and Scrappy staggers back. The crowd boos and officials then run into the scene and break the two of them up. The crowd boos as Scrappy just keeps trying to get at McCaron. McCaron just turns and walks off, glaring at Scrappy as we then cut back to the ring.

Havoc Warrior Exodus vs. Toshiro Kageyoshi

The arena settles into a quiet darkness, broken only by the murmurs of anticipation. Synchronized green, blue and white lights pulse to the opening notes of "Prepare for Attack" by Havok. They beat continuously to the song’s tempo, blurring together when the biting guitar riff picks up speed under the main chords. A pyro effect is timed to go off as soon as the drums go into a full-throttled double kick, followed by smaller, fiery white explosions for each chord change. Meanwhile, the words “Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dog of war” flash on the screen in the same colours as the pulsing lights.

It is at this point that Exodus makes his way past the curtain and onto the ramp. He screams and extends his chest while the fire form the pyro and the cheers of the crowd explode around him. With a determined look on his face and drive behind his steps, he makes his way down towards the arena, running down the ramp. He ignores the camera and the fans during his march to the ring, not out of callousness, but because they are fleeting; his energy is channelled towards the impeding combat. With his eyes fixated on the ring, he climbs on the apron and tugs the rope twice before entering.

He immediately runs the length of the ring to the opposite turnbuckle and climbs it, raising his hands into the air and holding his head back for a moment, absorbing the cries of approval from the crowd before beating his chest and letting out another roar. He jumps down and makes his way to opposite corner and repeats this ritual, before finally heading into his own corner and pacing it, like a wild beast, while awaiting the ring of the bell.

Sharper: “Havoc Warrior Exodus about to be in action tonight. It’s been a rough couple of months here. But he’s got a chance to make an impact tonight.”

Winters: “So does his opponent.”

Toshiro slowly walks out from the waiting area while the opening rift of "This Time's For Real" By Ill Nino is played, looking out to the many screaming fans. Touching his index finger to his head as the song moves, swiftly extending said arm to point to the crowd. Continuing to the ring, he sprints now, and as the chorus begins, Kageyoshi grabs the ropes, flipping himself over the top rope, landing on his feet. The song continues loudly over the speakers while he jumps into the center of the ring. He looks to the many bright spotlights illuminating his body as the instrumental ends, and the end of the song is near. Looking back down, he turns to face his opponent.

Sharper: “Toshiro Kageyoshi was successful in his debut a couple of weeks ago against Ace Watson. A big opportunity here to face someone else here who could be capable of big things.”

Winters: “Yeah, but Kageyoshi is still a bit of an unknown here. Exodus, he’ll just throw you around!”

The bell sounds. Kageyoshi and Exodus watch each other as Exodus walks towards Kageyoshi. Kageyoshi backs up and Exodus goes for a clubbing blow. Kageyoshi ducks and spins around. He kicks Exodus in the ribs and then again and again before jumping up and hitting Exodus with a jumping spin kick. Kageyoshi backs up and Exodus takes a moment before then coming after him. He goes to grab him, but Kageyoshi ducks and sweeps around. He kicks Exodus in the thigh and then jumps up and hits a dropkick. Exodus falls to the mat. He then gets up and Kageyoshi knees him in the side. The crowd ohs and Exodus falls to the ropes.

Winters: “This kid’s going right at Exodus!”

Sharper: “Big knee and that rocked him!”

Exodus starts to get up and Kageyoshi grabs him and pulls him up. He wrenches his arm and kicks him in the chest. He turns and runs into the ropes and goes for a spinning heel kick, but Exodus ducks and Kageyoshi spins through and lands on his hands and knees. He starts to get up and Exodus runs into the ropes before bouncing off and clotheslining him down. The crowd roars a bit. Kageyoshi gets back up and Exodus nails him with a hard right and then another before grabbing him and pulling him into his shoulder, shouldering him down. Kageyoshi gets back up and falls into the ropes and bounces off before jumping up for a crossbody. Exodus just catches him before then throwing him down with a fall forward slam. The crowd cheers a bit and Exodus goes for the pin.

Kageyoshi kicks out. Exodus then grabs him and drags him up. Kageyoshi nails him with an uppercut. Exodus staggers back.

Sharper: “Toshiro Kageyoshi fights out of it. Big uppercut and Exodus jarred.”

Winters: “Yeah, but he better be careful. Exodus can launch him around. Doing that a bit already.”

Kageyoshi then grabs him and pulls him over and nails him with a forearm shot before a kick to the ribs. He turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and Exodus grabs him and hoists him up into the air and just lets him drop. Kageyoshi hits the mat. He pops up to his feet and Exodus runs into the ropes and bounces off before taking him down with a flying shoulder thrust. Kageyoshi hits the mat. He gets back up and Exodus then scoops him up and turns before powerslamming him down. He hooks the leg.

Kageyoshi gets his shoulder up. Exodus grabs him and drags him up. He headbutts him and pushes him to the corner. He then grabs him and Kageyoshi kicks him in the inner thigh before hitting a knee. Exodus falls back and Kageyoshi pushes himself up to the middle rope. He then flips forward and takes Exodus down with a blockbuster.

Sharper: “Blockbuster from the middle rope. Exodus down. Kageyoshi going for the pin!”

Winters: “Hook the leg damn it!”

Kageyoshi goes for the pin.

Exodus powers out. Exodus starts to stir and Kageyoshi kicks him in the chest. He remains down a bit before Kageyoshi runs into the ropes. He bounces off and runs back at Exodus and jumps up for the Shining Apprentice, but Exodus catches him and hoists him up the crowd roars and he runs forward and hits a huge running powerbomb into a pin.

Kageyoshi kicks out. Both men get up as Exodus grabs Kageyoshi and he goes for a quick kick but Exodus catches it and hoists him up and throws him forward into the corner. Kageyoshi bounces out and Exodus kicks him in the ribs and pulls him to the middle of the ring. He then hoists him up. He turns and spikes him with the Exodus Driver.

Sharper: “Havoc Warrior Exodus spikes Toshiro Kageyoshi!”

Winters: “Right on his head!”

Sharper: “Exodus Driver drops him. The cover!”

Exodus covers him.

The crowd cheers as Exodus rolls off. He gets up and grunts a bit as he looks around. The referee raises his arm and he then lets out a yell as he lifts both his arms in the air before looking up. He then walks around the ring as the crowd continues to cheer. Kageyoshi is then checked on by the official. Exodus walks around the ring.

Sharper: “Another win for Exodus as he gets one over the newcomer Kageyoshi.”

Winters: “Yeah and did it in a hell of a fashion. Welcome to SCW kid!”

Exodus continues to walk around before we cut backstage.

“Rescue Me” starts to play as we see Merrick Wiseman walking backstage. He has the US Championship in his hand and he just holds it at his side as he walks through the hallway.

Sharper: “There you see the US Champion.”

Winters: “He doesn’t look happy at all!”

Sharper: “Merrick Wiseman is going to join us next here in the ring. The US Champion, next on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

We open up backstage to see Trinity Street standing with Jessica Winters outside of the women’s locker room. The crowd cheers seeing Trinity.

Jessica: “Ladies and gentlemen, I am here with Trinity Street and Trinity, you’re just days away from facing off against your own sister who has-“

Jessica stops as we see Simon Lyman walk into the camera view. Trinity just looks at him before turning and starting to head off. Simon however extends his hand and tries to stop her.

Trinity: “Simon-“

Simon: “Please….just listen to me for a moment. You want to send a message tonight. Then I have an idea…Shall we go to Donovan’s and my locker room?”

Trinity just looks at Simon.

Trinity: “Fine…lead the way.”

Simon: “Thank you.”

Trinity reluctantly follows Simon as Jessica Winters watches them go as we cut back to ringside.

‘Justice... Will Be Done’.

The lone riffs of a single guitar echo the familiar chords that herald the entrance of SCW`s peacekeeper before we hear a voice begin that fateful entrance.

It's all the same, only the names will change
Everyday it seems we're wasting away
Another place where the faces are so cold
I'd drive all night just to get back home

From the curtain emerges Merrick Wiseman. His head down, his long coat waving a little as he holds the US Championship at his side. He doesn’t hold it with pride. Instead, he just starts to make his way down to the ring.

Sharper: “A different Merrick Wiseman that we’re used to. He found out last week that Ravyn Taylor was granted a US Championship shot.”

Winters: “And that’s coming after Ravyn helped him win it and he didn’t know until after!”

Sharper: “And that’s probably why Wiseman isn’t holding that belt with pride.”

Wiseman walks down to the ring before walking up the steps and entering into the ring. He then walks over and places the US Championship down in the middle of the ring before stepping over it and going over to the corner and demanding a title. He takes it before turning back and walking over to the middle of the ring and looking down at the SCW US Championship.

Wiseman: “A symbol of honour and greatness has been tarnished.”

The crowd boos a bit.

Wiseman: “See at Supreme Saturday, Ravyn Taylor interfered in my match and ended up helping me win this belt you see here on the mat in front of me. I thought Jake Starr had just not gotten up or fallen back down. Ravyn however pushed him off and then I took advantage…I took advantage just like all of those who I have attempted to work against. Don’t cheat…don’t steal…don’t interfere. Ravyn interfered, that led to cheating and then I stole this from Jake Starr.”

Wiseman pauses as he continues to look down at the title.

Wiseman: “Now Ravyn Taylor intends to steal this belt. She knew that this would lead to some problems for myself. As it stands, I don’t care what the record books say, I am not the US Champion!”

The crowd boos as Wiseman looks around at the crowd finally and then holds his hand up.

Wiseman: “The problem is that if I formally vacate the title, I’m essentially handing it to Ravyn Taylor and I’ll be damned if I let her have her way. I may not recognize myself as the champion, but Ravyn Taylor, you’re not getting this belt handed to you! No…see, I’m instead going to see this Sunday as my chance to EARN this title and wear it proudly. It’ll be my title shot. My rematch I guess….Jake’s got his coming up so I’ve been told and he wants to face me. I’ll be happy to make it so he gets me in his rematch. But Ravyn…I’m treating you like the dishonourable person you are and I will make sure that much like at Heaven Knows…you will lose and justice will be served.”

We then hear the sound of slow clapping. The crowd boos as Wiseman looks around and Ravyn then appears on the big screen. She just smiles as she looks into the camera.

Ravyn: “It’s a great speech Merrick. Very inspiring. You’re going to take down the evil bitch of wrestling in me, Ravyn Taylor. That’s all well and good, but let’s point something out. Every time you get your justice, I come back and remind you why people like you can’t hack it in this business. It’s the place where bastards and bitches get rewarded.”

Ravyn laughs a bit.

Ravyn: “But Merrick, I noticed something else. You didn’t mention my daughter. You’ve learned a bit I suppose. I didn’t think you could. I assume you were too stupid. But unfortunately for you, instead of enjoying your short, and in your mind, non-existent title reign, you’ll have to known as the “REDACTED” champion because Merrick…I plan to get that title which I lost a year ago back. And Merrick, I’ll wear it with great pride now matter how I win it.”

Ravyn smirks.

Ravyn: “Quoth the Ravyn….nevermore…”

The crowd boos as Merrick Wiseman just looks at the big screen before grabbing the US Championship and holding it in his hand, still at his side.

Sharper: “Merrick Wiseman and Ravyn Taylor will go at it this Sunday. US Title on the line.”

Winters: “And not just that, both are in the battle royal….big nights for both. Who’s walking away with a title though?”

Wiseman just continues to stare at the big screen as Ravyn’s image then goes off the screen. The crowd continues to boo as we then cut away.

“Rescue Me” starts to play and we see the Breakdown logo come up on the screen. We see a shot of Tommy Valentine and then a shot of Dylan Howell.

Sharper: “When we return, Dylan Howell looks to challenge Tommy Valentine in one on one action. That match, it’s next, here on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

We cut backstage again to see now a jostling view of the scene to see the car from earlier. Kraven Wallace is standing outside of it and we see Silas Mason walking up to it. The camera angle turns to show Stacy Kissinger seemingly grabbing the cameraman.

Sharper: “Wait a minute!”

Winters: “Looks like they’ve got a new friend!”

Silas: “Come on now…don’t worry…we’ll return ya right back later.”

Stacy: “Come on now…just gonna help us out since Mr. D doesn’t seem to want ta make this easy!”

We then see Stacy shove the cameraman into the back of the car, nearly causing him to fall into Cannon. The cameraman turns as Kraven then nods to Silas before sitting in on the other side of the cameraman. Silas turns to Stacy.

Silas: “Enjoy tha rest of yer night now babyface.”

Kissinger: “I plan to.”

Silas: “Got what we need Kraven?”

Kraven nods as Chris just can be seen glaring at Silas.

Silas: “Then let’s go.”

Silas steps into the car. The car then starts to back up as Stacy then turns and jogs off. We see a couple of security guards running out to presumably deal with the situation. As Silas’ car leaves, we then see another car in the background starting to drive off.

Sharper: “And that’s got to be Rachel Foxx and company….”

Winters: “Oh we’re going to have a fun night to say the least.”

Tommy Valentine vs. Dylan Howell

The lights go out and as Van Halen's powerful anthem "Top of the World" begins, white strobe lights do as well. Soon appearing on stage is Dylan Howell, dressed in a black leather jacket with red shorts and boots, both bearing his initials. Dylan is accompanied by his wife Jesse Howell. Jesse is wearing a black Affliction shirt with the neck line cut so it hangs off one shoulder, a black skirt with a white studded belt and knee-high black leather boots. The crowd cheers which leaves Jesse with a huge smile on her face while Dylan looks around stunned and genuinely humbled by the response.

The two of them walk to the ring side by side, interacting with as many fans as they can. Once they arrived at ring side, Dylan heads up the stairs first and then holds the ropes open for Jesse who gives him a little show as she steps in the ring. Once both are inside, Jesse waves to the fans then takes Dylan's jacket and the two share a quick kiss before she steps back outside and into his corner with a big smile on her face watching while Dylan focuses on the match ahead.

Sharper: “Big match for Dylan Howell just days before he and his wife Jessica both enter into the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. Howell facing off against a former World Champion in Tommy Valentine.”

Winters: “And you want every win. You want to feel your best. You don’t want to enter the battle royal wondering if you can hack it because you’re facing off against a lot of talent, some proven, some not.”

The arena's lights cut out completely, plunging the whole room into darkness for several seconds before the screens light up to display a countdown.

THOMAS VALENTINE WILL BLOW THE
ROOF OFF IN

5...

NOW!

The screens show static for a few seconds before going dark once more. The black screen starts to pulse now like a heartbeat and on each pulse that reverberates round the arena, a shot of Thomas in various poses is shown before reverting to the blackness until the next pulse that sounds like a bass drum beat with increasing volume until a final shot of him holding the SCW Title aloft after winning the match at Taking Hold Of The Flame is Shown and remains until two green fireworks shoot from the rafters and explode on the ramp. The explosion drifts across the ramp before the beginning chords to "Darkest Of Kin" by Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster, hits.

“ALL OF YOU, GO ABOUT YOUR DAY, NEVER TRULY LIVING! WALKING SO CLOSE TO DEATH, LETS ME KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO BE ALIVE! IT'S WHERE I FIND MY HIGH. TERROR THIS WORLD HAS NEVER SEEN. LOOK IN MY EYES, SEE WHAT I'VE DONE! ALWAYS ON THE MOVE, HELL COMES ALONG!”

A shot of "Thorn" going for the Swanton from the top of a chamber pod at Under Attack 2009 is shown in slow motion as he misses it and hits nothing but canvas.

"STAND UP, FISTS OUT - I WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY!"

A shot now of him hitting the Socially Unacceptable Moonsault stomp from the top rope onto Justin Davis is shown, the impact punctuated by the last word of the verse before a shadowed figure can be seen standing in front of the curtain at the top of the ramp.

"STAND UP, FISTS OUT - THIS IS THE REAL THING!"

As the last word echoes, the lights start to strobe again briefly as the song reverbrates throughout the arena now, causing the fans to start cheering.

The lights finally flicker back on and Thomas Valentine can now be seen on top of the arena's ramp in a set of shades with a custom logo on the lens, as he looks out into the audience that are now cheering loudly, chanting his name in some cases. He stops and smiles a little before spinning around away from the fans and holding his arms outwards before making a beckoning motion with his hands, fireworks shoot out at the top of the ramp again in a burst before he spins one hundred and eighty degrees and resumes walking down to the ring again.

"BABY I'M BAD, I'M THE FEAR IN YOUR EYES. THAT HATE IN YOUR HEART HAS BEEN BRANDED WITH MY NAME!"

As he walks past the barrier he looks out into the crowds and goes to high five as many fans as possible before moving on down the ramp, revelling in their adoration and cheers before he slides underneath the ropes and immediately runs to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle, making beckoning gestures again before smiling at all the fans in the crowds. He jumps down and does the same to all the turnbuckles before standing still in the centre, cranking his neck. Thomas then takes the sunglasses off and hands them to the referee, telling him to keep them safe before waiting for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Two fine young men about to go at it. Both looking to get back to where they want to be. Dylan Howell wants to get back into Adrenaline Championship contention, maybe more as he continues his return from injury at the hands of Rachel Foxx. Tommy Valentine, he wants to get back to the World Title.”

Winters: “I still don’t understand why he’s not in the Taking Hold of the Flame Battle royal.”

Sharper: “He told me earlier that he frankly wanted to earn that shot by getting back to the top. And his match against Syren and that shock loss against Ben McCaron, it told him that he got very complacent while with Pinnacle.”

The bell sounds and Dylan and Tommy circle around the ring. They lunge at each other and lock up in the middle of the ring. Dylan and Tommy push back on one another. Tommy then manages to get the advantage and gets Dylan to the ropes before Dylan pushes him off and they circle along the ropes and into the corner. The referee calls for the break.

Dylan breaks up with a clean break. Dylan and Tommy watch each other as Dylan backs up and Tommy then watches him and the two grapple again. They push back and forth on one another before Dylan pushes Tommy back, but Tommy spins him into the corner. The referee again calls for the break.

Tommy breaks up, cleanly as Dylan nods and Dylan gets out of the corner. Both just watch each other as the crowd gives them some polite applause.

Sharper: “Both feeling the other one out and both getting a bit of an advantage, but clean breaks both ways.”

Winters: “Never understood that. Smack ‘em! Get the shot in. They’re wide open!”

Dylan and Tommy then lunge at one another again and Tommy quickly turns into a side headlock. Howell pulls him back and into the ropes. Howell fires him off. Tommy bounces off the ropes and shoulders Dylan down. Tommy turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and Dylan rolls towards him. Tommy hops over him and bounces off the other side. Dylan then moves forward and grabs him and goes for a hip toss, but Tommy spins through and hip tosses Dylan down. Dylan gets back up and Tommy nails him with a forearm shot before kicking him in the ribs. He pulls him in and takes him over with a vertical suplex. He rolls over and goes for the pin.

Dylan kicks out. He turns and Tommy grabs him and drags him up before whipping him into the ropes. Tommy runs after him and Dylan gets his boot up. Tommy stumbles up and Dylan runs out and Tommy lifts him up and hits a Samoan drop. He rolls over before “The Night” suddenly starts to play. Tommy looks up as we then see William Mason walking out from the back. With him, is Cameron Chase, just glaring right at Tommy Valentine. The crowd boos as Tommy just watches him.

Sharper: “William Mason coming down to the ring in the middle of this match now.”

Winters: “He’s stopped it that for sure. Tommy’s watching him and Howell’s getting a great chance to get back into this.”

Sharper: “And he’s got a microphone…”

Mason takes a few more steps as he continues down the rampway.

Mason: “Well Tommy, I hope you’re doing well since you felt the need to get involved in my affairs last week…”

Tommy just snaps at Mason as Dylan Howell gets back up and looks around. Jessica Howell just shrugs too.

Mason: “But since you thought the best way to accept my challenge was to stop me from protecting my wife and teaching Gable Winchester a lesson…and Gable…that challenge is still there….I figured I would get involved in your business.”

Cameron Chase and William Mason reach the ring and look up. Dylan comes over to Tommy as Tommy turns to him and then tells him to step back as Tommy turns to Mason before sitting on the ropes and telling him to get in.

Mason: “Oh…so you’re going to take the disqualification! That’s why you want to fight now! Come on Tommy! You’re better than that.”

The crowd boos as Tommy steps off and looks away, shaking his head. Howell comes back over again and tells Tommy to get back and just to have the match.

Mason: “Come on Tommy! Have your match? I’ll just be here.”

Tommy just turns and points to Mason and Chase as Howell looks down. Jessica Howell hops onto the apron trying to calm the situation down too as the referee tells him to get down and he then turns and goes to the ropes and starts to talk to Mason. Mason just extends his arms before Cameron Chase takes the microphone.

Cameron: “He’s not leaving. He’s not interfering. He’s merely showing up to scout.”

The referee tells her to get rid of the microphone and Cameron just scoffs. Howell keeps trying to get Tommy to get back into the ring and he turns back to the official and tells him to just ignore him, before suddenly, Tommy runs to the ropes and vaults himself over and flips down onto Mason. The crowd roars. Cameron falls back a bit as she dives out of the way. Tommy rolls over as Mason turns and looks at Cameron. Tommy does too and notices her down. He turns to her before then turning back and Mason shoves him back. Just then, Dylan runs over and slides under the bottom rope and in front of Mason and stops him. Mason just turns back as the official drops down to avoid anything further.

Sharper: “Mason has full involved himself in this match and Howell even is getting involved!”

Winters: “Well Howell wants the win, not to get DQed if Mason gets involved! Mason just wants Tommy and Cameron Chase was just caught in the crossfire again!”

Sharper: “She wasn’t caught. She dove out of the way. She’s staying down as Mason is seeing her down and Tommy checking on her!”

Mason and Dylan look at each other and Dylan then turns and Tommy looks at Mason before rolling back into the ring. Dylan hops onto the apron and the official enters too. Dylan enters the ring and Cameron gets up and Dylan goes to step forward, but Mason then grabs him by the leg and pulls him out of the ring. Dylan lands on the floor and Mason turns him around and Mason grabs him and DDTs him on the floor. Mason rolls away as Cameron backs up and joins him. Jessica Howell storms around the ring as the crowd boos. The referee calls for the bell as Tommy just storms over to the ropes. Mason backs up and smiles.

Mason: “There you go Tommy! Just returning the favour!”

Tommy glares at him as Jessica stands over Howell and yells at Cameron. Cameron smirks as Dylan stirs, holding his face in pain. The crowd boos as Mason and Cameron continue to back up the rampway.

Sharper: “Mason attacks Dylan Howell, disqualifying Tommy Valentine! And all this…”

Winters: “Hey! The referee tried, but when there’s a will, there’s a way!”

Sharper: “Some revenge from last week…give me a break!”

Mason and Chase then turn and walks to the back. Dylan just glares at him as Tommy just shakes his head.

“Rescue Me” then starts to play. The Breakdown logo comes up before we then see a shot of Donovan Kayl before a shot of Shaun Cruze.

Sharper: “Well much more still to come. Jonathan Knots is going to join me. Shaun Cruze will face off against Donovan Kayl. And who knows what the hell else may happen tonight? Breakdown returns after this!”

The scene fades to black.

The scene then returns to the inside of the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina where spotlights circle the arena before pyro shoots out from the entrance way on both sides and around the big screen before coming to a stop. The crowd erupts in cheers as the cameras pan the audience, showing the crowd, cheering and waving their signs, hoping to get onto camera. Spotlights circle the arena before we sweep down to ringside to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots at ringside.

Sharper: “Welcome back here to Charlotte as we are just four days away from Taking Hold of the Flame. Jonathan Knots now joining me here at ringside. I’m Adam Sharper and still to come tonight, a huge main event. Shaun Cruze will face off against Donovan Kayl!”

Knots: “Yeah and Donovan Kayl better be ready to go back to Simon Lyman and let him know what’s going to happen to him this Sunday.”

Sharper: “Not just that, we have Silas Mason apparently arranging something. He’s even commandeered a cameraman.”

Knots: “Well looks like Chris Cannon and Rachel Foxx are going to have a bit of a sparring match it seems.”

Sharper: “And of course, much more still to come here on Breakdown.”

The house lights dim and the opening cymbal crash and riffs to "Tonight" by Seether begins to blare throughout the arena. A buzz can be heard rising through the crowd into cheers as the lyics begin...

I'm not gonna waste this
This opportunity's mine
I'm sick of complaining
About a beautiful life

On the Jumbotron, clips of Simon hitting high impact and high risk moves plays as the song continues, hyping the fans even further

How did we get here?
Did we forget all the things inside?
And how do we stay here?
Do we embrace all the things denied?

As the refrain begins, Simon walks out on stage with his wife Trinity Street. Simon turns to Trinity as Trinity just starts to head to the ring. Simon then starts to follow his wife down to the ring.

Knots: “Oh God…they’re coming out here together!”

Sharper: “And I think I know why. Kennedy Street can’t interrupt. She can’t make it about her unless they let it! Every time Simon Lyman has done something, Kennedy Street has been making sure to make his life a living hell!”

I feel so alive tonight
You got me feeling sublime
I want to yell it from the rooftops down
Until it's over, and we're older

When the refrain ends the house lights rise as Simon and Trinity walk the aisle confidently. Trinity reaches the ring and pulls herself up on the apron. Simon runs up the steel steps before entering the ring. Trinity walks across as Simon looks around. The crowd roars for them, cheering them, as Trinity asks for a microphone. Simon walks over and joins her in the corner. Trinity gets hers back and backs up and out of the corner as Simon is handed a microphone again.

Sharper: “You can see the reluctance in some ways for Trinity. Obviously, their relationship has been strained by the actions of Kennedy Street.”

Knots: “And now Simon is hiding behind her-“

Sharper: “He’s not doing that. He’s making sure she’s got to pay attention. We saw how Kennedy responded last week when Trinity tore into her from the back.”

Trinity walks over to the middle of the ring and turns to Simon as Simon starts to walk around the ring. He then starts to talk.

Simon: “In a few days…the two people you see standing in front of you are going to be going into their biggest matches of 2014. That’s surprising for me to say given that I am just a few weeks removed from that hell of a match that was the Roofed Cage match against Rachel Foxx. But the fact is that that only partially solved some issues. There are many more…I’m sure I can safely say.”

Simon looks at Trinity as Trinity looks at him.

Simon: “But the fact is that this Sunday…Trinity Street and I will be facing two stains in this business that need to be taught a lesson in humility. I’ll let Trinity say all she wants to say about Kennedy in a minute. I’ll echo everything she says. I’ll just have you know that I asked Trinity to come out here because Kennedy…since we all know you want everything to be about you. You probably were hoping you could show me up again…but you don’t want to come face to face with the woman that you’re so afraid of that you needed a restraining order….That order won’t help you this Sunday…”

Simon pauses for a moment.

Simon: “But I do need to talk to you for one reason because that match will happen so any hope of you getting involved in MY business this Sunday is just not going to happen. Instead, Shaun…you can be cocky as all hell, I thrive when I’m back up against the wall. And frankly Shaun…if all you’re hoping is that Kennedy’s lies throw me off and that’s going to get it done….”

Simon looks right at the main camera.

Simon: “Just look at my track record…CHBK….Rachel Foxx….I’ve beaten them both with high stakes. The World Title is high stakes. And Shaun…”

Simon turns back to Trinity.

Simon: “Just having her standing in this ring with me given everything that’s happened this past month…that tells me all I need to know there…”

Simon turns to Trinity as the crowd cheers.

Simon: “The floor is yours…”

Simon smiles as he backs off and goes to the corner. Trinity just watches him for a moment before she turns and looks out at the crowd. She then turns to the camera before turning back to Simon.

Trinity: “And just to make this clear…Simon…kick Shaun’s ass this Sunday.”

The crowd cheers as Simon smiles. Trinity then turns back to the camera.

Trinity: “Now Kennedy…you better be starting to realize what you have unleashed here. I know you won’t be coming out to this ring because you’re hiding beyond your legal documents and you’re also quivering backstage. I saw you gulping out here and I saw you show how scared you are.”

Trinity pauses as the crowd cheers a bit. A faint “Trinity” chant even starts.

Trinity: “It’s almost sad for me. From watching you with the Cashmere Mafia, guiding you here in SCW to watching the bitch that you’ve become…I used to say you may be the most talented of all the Streets, a bold statement for obvious reasons. Now I just see you as the most conceited, the most backstabbing….and someone that deserves to be put in their place and that place is not number forty in the battle royal…it’s not the number one contendership for the World Championship…I hope you’re not hoping too strongly for EITHER of those options in the near future…because Kennedy, nobody loves you here and instead I plan to knock that pretty little head off your shoulders and leave you with so many welts that no spa day will EVER heal. THIS is what you deserve and you will get that this Sunday. You screw with family…and you are screwed!”

The crowd cheers. Trinity steps back a bit, just looking at the camera before suddenly “Bodies” starts to play throughout the arena. The crowd boos as Trinity turns to the entrance way. Simon Lyman steps out of the corner.

Sharper: “Wait a minute.”

Knots: “Well I guess we have some people who aren’t too fond of THEIR arrogance. Yeah…you can talk about Cruze and Kennedy being arrogant. Well the Watsons are gonna put them in their place.”

Sharper: “Yeah, after they assault possible contenders and threaten others. Dawn Lohan and Selena Frost are here. Thomas Watson should be focusing on Selena not coming out here for Imperium!”

Thomas Watson and Ryan Watson walk out from the back. Ryan has a microphone in his hand as he takes a few steps down to the ring. His music cuts out as he starts to talk.

Ryan: “Well how about that…we got the two of ya thinkinya got somethin’ to look forward too. Nevermind that ya had to be part insane ta make ya point. Well…ya seem to be thinkinya got Kennedy and Cruze beat. Here’s the problem…ya never gonna get one over Imperium! Now since Kennedy can’t show ya that…we’ll remind ya what REALLY is gonna happen this Sunday!”

Ryan then runs at the ring as does Thomas. The crowd roars as Thomas gets up and Ryan goes for Trinity and catches her with a forearm. She falls back a bit before planting her feet. Thomas runs over to Simon and Simon and Thomas trade some blows as the crowd cheers. Ryan hits Trinity a couple more times before getting her to the ropes.

Sharper: “Watsons in here now and they’re taking it to Trinity Street and Simon Lyman!”

Knots: “And when they take them down, they can watch Cruze take out Kayl later tonight!”

Ryan then knees Trinity in the ribs and goes to fire her across, but Trinity spins through and sends Ryan in. Ryan bounces off and jumps up for a flying clothesline, but Trinity ducks. Ryan hits the mat and Trinity hits a dropkick to the face. Simon shoves Thomas back and Thomas runs at him, but Simon gets his elbow up. Thomas staggers back and Trinity nails Thomas with Silence is Golden. Thomas stumbles back and Simon takes his legs out before lifting him up and then planting him with the Lymanizer. Ryan looks up and quickly rolls out of the ring. Simon gets up and looks at him. The crowd roars as Trinity turns to Simon before turning and watching Ryan.

Sharper: “Thomas planted with the Lymanizer! And Ryan getting out of there!”

Knots: “What the hell?!”

Sharper: “Trinity Street and Simon Lyman showing that they still have that sixth sense between them and they’re ready to go!”

The crowd cheers as Simon walks around the ring and “Tonight” starts to play. Trinity and Simon keep watching Ryan as he grabs Thomas and pulls him out of the ring. He then holds him up and starts to walk him around the ring towards the back. The crowd cheers for Simon and Trinity. They continue to stand in the ring as Trinity keeps telling Ryan to get back into the ring. Ryan just spits towards the ring as Simon then steps forward and kicks at the ropes. Ryan just backs up and jacks at them as the crowd continues to roar.

We open up backstage to see Ryan Watson and Thomas Watson walking back into the Imperium locker room. Kennedy just gets up.

Kennedy: “What happened? Come on! There were two against one.”

Thomas: “I don’t know about yer math there-“

Kennedy: “Yeah, I know Simon’s there. But he’s still thinking about my perfect ass. He couldn’t have been a focus. You should’ve just gone after Trinity and owned her.”

Ryan: “Yeah…because that worked well there.”

Ryan stretches out a bit.

Kennedy: “I shouldn’t be facing her!”

Ryan: “I know…we tried, but she’s got some fire in her there.”

Kennedy looks concerned by that statement as Shaun Cruze and Ivy Knight walk over.

Cruze: “Relax…we’ll make sure they know the score after later tonight when I show Donovan Kayl his place.”

Cruze then turns to Ivy.

Cruze: “Plus, Kennedy…you have something Trinity doesn’t.”

Kennedy turns to him.

Cruze: “Ivy.”

Ivy Knight just smiles as the crowd boos. We cut away.

We open up to see Trinity Street and Simon Lyman walking down the hallway, still together. Dawn Lohan then walks over to her as Selena Frost walks over behind her.

Dawn: “I knew they’d try something tonight…”

Trinity: “It’s fine, love. We took care of it. They want to try and piss on our parade, we’ll make sure that they regret that decision.”

Dawn: “Well, Selena will do that more this Sunday and then we’ll make sure they don’t get the Tag belts.”

Selena just smiles as Trinity then turns to Simon. Simon looks at her.

Trinity: “Don’t think this solves everything.”

Simon: “It felt good though. You know it did.”

Trinity: “I may trust you in the ring….outside of it though….”

Trinity then walks off as Dawn looks to Simon before turning and following Trinity. Selena follows them as Simon just watches them walk off.

We open up outside of what appears to be an abandoned warehouse. Silas Mason is standing in front of the camera as it shows his car parked and another car pulling up.

Silas: “Okay there hotshot. Yer gonna sit there and film this all. Nice bit of cash in it for ya. Just don’t do anythin’ stupid. And this better be broadcastin’ back in the arena and on tv.”

Mason then turns and hits the hood of the car.

Silas: “Let him out!”

The door is opened by Kraven Wallace as Chris Cannon steps out and Kraven then grabs him and throws him down. Mason just smirks.

Silas: “Now Chris, yer a bit lucky that security has gotten wise to us. Because now I found a place that ya can get some of that steam ya have brewin inside of ya out and take it out on someone who was more than happy to help us out and meet us here. Aint that right, Rachel?”

We see Rachel Foxx walking out of her car. With her is Ba’al and Cassidy Carter.

Sharper: “Well Silas made sure…”

Knots: “What I don’t get is that he hates Rachel Frost and makes a deal to give Frost some of what she wants?”

Silas turns to Rachel Foxx. Foxx just smiles as Ba’al stands behind her and Cassidy has her sledgehammer in hand.

Silas: “Now, Chris, this is a bit different though…See, I know what ya did last week and I can’t be havin’ judgement problems like the one you made. This is about what’s best for Kelcey and frankly, havin’ maniacs like Rachel and Rachel over there gettin’ clear shots at those lookin’ out for Kelcey…can’t have that.”

Silas then turns to Rachel Foxx.

Silas: “No offense.”

Foxx: “None taken.”

Chris just glares at Silas and Foxx.

Silas: “Now Chris, I gave you and Kelcey a hell of a gift this past weekend when ya two were allowed to swap rings and promise lives to each other…when frankly, her life was always pledged ta me and I’m here to protect it. So tonight, Chris, to make sure that you remember what is best for me is also what’s best for Kelceyya get to deal with this situation…out here…by yerself. Kraven and I here are gonna head back to the arena. I just hope for yer sake…Frost aint runnin’ around. And if she is…I doubt anyone is comin’ ta save ya.”

Silas then turns to Kraven and Kraven enters back into the car, as does Silas. The car then turns on before the car starts to back up and Chris watches it as it backs up and then turns and starts to drive off.

Knots: “He’s just leaving him! Ha!”

Sharper: “Chris Cannon being left in that parking lot and that looks like some abandoned buildings…and Rachel Foxx is there with him. Silas has been staging these street fights, but this isn’t to show what Mr. D is missing or to protect Kelcey, this is to punish!”

Knots: “And to protect…and just days before Taking Hold of the Flame. He needs to do what’s best for the team. If he’s not going to do that, he may as well be injured and out of the battle royal! Harmony Fisher and Stacy Kissinger can handle it!”

Chris turns back and as he does, we see Rachel Foxx kick him in the ribs before nailing him with a forearm shot and then she grabs him and starts to force him down.

Foxx: “Come on Chris…time to see how much fight ya got!”

Foxx then kicks him in the ribs before trying to force him down. Chris turns to his back and Foxx goes for to choke him. Chris however blocks it and manages to knee her in the side. He knees her again and Foxx falls forward. Chris gets up and Foxx gets up and Chris nails her with a hard right. Ba’al then decides to get involved and nails Chris with a hard right and Chris is jarred by it and staggers back. Ba’al then kicks him and nails him again, nearly knocking him back into the cameraman. Chris however manages to avoid contact there and Ba’al grabs him and starts to lift him up. Rachel heads towards Chris and Chris hits a mule kick on Ba’al. Ba’al turns back and Rachel goes a hard forearm, but Chris blocks it and nails Rachel with a hard right and then another before grabbing her and spinning her around and into the car hood. The crowd in the arena roars hearing this.

Sharper: “Chris Cannon is fighting back and fighting for his life!”

Knots: “Ba’al even getting involved. This is a fight! Come on Cassidy! Get in there!”

Cassidy however stays back as Rachel turns and Chris grabs her and drives her face first into the car hood again. Cassidy steps back as Chris then turns and Ba’al gets back up and runs at him, but Chris lifts him up and throws him face first into the roof of the cage. Ba’al falls back as Chris turns a bit surprise before turning and grabbing Rachel and pulling her away, but Rachel then reaches up and rakes his eyes. She then grabs him and spins him around before throwing him face first into the driver’s side window and the crowd ohs as it shatters. Chris remains in the window a bit before Rachel lifts him up by the legs as best as she can and then pulls him out, causing some of the glass to rake against his chest. Chris rolls over, holding his shirt in pain as one can see it a bit torn from Rachel’s actions.

Sharper: “Good lord. The glass. The chest!”

Knots: “And if Chris wasn’t wearing a shirt, Kelcey certainly wouldn’t find much to him there too!”

Chris rolls over, yelling in pain as he starts to get up and Rachel Foxx kicks him in the ribs. He falls back and against the car. She then kicks him in the chest again. Chris remains against the car before Rachel rears back and kicks him again and again and again. Ba’al then starts to get up and Rachel looks at him.

Foxx: “Want a shot.”

Ba’al just nods as Ba’al then runs at Chris and nails him with a vicious knee to the side of the head, sandwiching him against the car. He just falls over. Rachel then backs up as Ba’al grabs him and drags him along the concrete and then stands over him. Rachel turns to Cassidy and Cassidy gleefully hands her the sledgehammer.

Sharper: “Oh no…Chris Cannon may be unconscious and he may be out of action for good now!”

Knots: “Well that’s what you get when you don’t go for help. No one helping Cannon!”

Sharper: “Rachel Foxx has that sledgehammer. Do we even know where they are?”

Knots: “Silas took them out there last minute! He’s screwed!”

Sharper: “We’ve got to have a broadcast signal or something?!”

Ba’al holds onto Chris as Rachel Foxx walks over to him and holds the sledgehammer. She goes to nail him, but Chris boots Ba’al in the face and rolls over. He then grabs Ba’al and sends him into Rachel. Rachel turns away, falling into the car. Chris then gets up and runs at her and boots her in the face, knocking her back. The sledgehammer falls to the ground and Chris looks at it. He then grabs it as Ba’al starts to get up and Chris turns and nails him in the ribs with it. He falls over and down. Rachel then smiles as she gets up and Chris turns and kicks her in the ribs. She falls back. Chris then turns and swings the sledgehammer and Rachel ducks, as Chris smashes the driver’s side back door window. Chris winces as he falls forward a bit and Rachel then turns and kicks him in the ribs before pulling him back by the hair and throwing him down to the concrete. He rolls over and Rachel kicks him in the side of the head. He falls back.

Sharper: “Another kick and Rachel Foxx has Chris Cannon down in a bad way.”

Knots: “At least he’s not dealing with Ba’al anymore. Ba’al is right now trying to figure out if his ribs are still in one piece.”

Sharper: “Rachel Foxx just looking down at Chris…and now…wait a minute…”

Chris writhes a bit and Rachel then stomps him in the side of the head. He rolls over as we see what appear to be headlights moving across the scene. The cameraman panics a bit, moving around a bit before stopping and trying to calm himself and showing a car has pulled up.

Sharper: “Another car pulling up.”

Knots: “Nearly made the cameraman piss himself too.”

Sharper: “Well he knows he’s taking a risk just videotaping this…”

Knots: “Yeah. I hope he enjoys unemployment!”

Sharper: “But who is now there…”

Rachel can be heard stomping Chris again as the door opens and Aiken walks out. We then see him walk over.

Aiken: “So…he left Chris for us…how nice…”

Foxx: “Yeah…and he’s still squirming.”

The cameraman however keeps filming the car as the passenger door opens and we see Rachel Frost step out, holding a cowbell on a rope in her hand, but one with a noose tied up at one end. The crowd roars and boos in the arena seeing this.

Sharper: “Oh no…It’s Frost!”

Knots: “And no one to stop her tonight!”

Sharper: “She’s broken people’s necks. She’s attacked people all over. And she’s damn well suspended and still terrorizing this roster!”

Frost then starts to walk over as Aiken turns to her.

Aiken: “Look…a gift…”

Chris then suddenly nails Aiken from behind with a shot and elbows Rachel Foxx. Cassidy then moves over and Chris nails her with a shove before turning to Rachel Frost only for Frost to swing the cowbell at Chris and nailing him in the side of the head with it. The crowd ohs as the impact is audible and Chris staggers before Frost runs at him and nails him with a vicious clothesline, knocking him back down.

Sharper: “Damn! He saw Frost and tried to make a comeback!”

Knots: “But not enough. Frost just drilled him in the head…and now here comes Foxx!’

Aiken gets up and shakes off the impact as Ba’al stirs as well, starting to get up. Foxx however comes over and quickly watches Chris as he rolls over before booting him hard in the ribs with a vicious punt. The crowd ohs as Chris just coughs before rolling over. Foxx then steps on his throat before leaning down.

Foxx: “You may want to avoid struggling. Don’t want Kelcey to have to watch the torture now too.”

Frost: “Hell…I’m torturin’ him regardless. Silas doesn’t seem to want him…we’ll let him go back to his prissy bitch of a wife and show exactly what will happen to her…to Stacy and Harmony…ta Barbie…ta Regan…ta ANYONE else who will stop me in the battle royal.”

Aiken: “Excellent. Shall Ba’al, Cassidy and I start the preparation.

Frost: “Gimme a minute first…”

Frost then walks over and stomps Chris in the ribs as Foxx keeps choking him with her foot. Frost then stomps him again and again and again.

Sharper: “This is bad…this is just bad…we need to figure out where the hell they are?”

Knots: “Seriously…how is she still on the roster?!”

Sharper: “You know why…if she wins this Sunday, the contract can control her somewhat….Imagine Rachel Frost challenging for the World Title at Rise to Greatness…”

Knots: “Oh God…”

Frost then turns and nods to Aiken as Aiken turns to Ba’al and just then we see Ba’al grabs the rope with cowbell that Frost brought and drags it over to the Foxx car. Frost meanwhile stomps away on Chris more before Foxx steps off. Ba’al can be heard slamming the truck shut before Aiken walks over with the noose. Chris struggles and Foxx then grabs Chris. Chris nails her with an uppercut from desperation. He turns and nails Aiken before Frost kicks him hard in the ribs before grabbing him by the head and throwing him back with a facebuster to the concrete. The crowd in the arena looks on in awe as Frost then places the noose around the next of Chris. She turns to Ba’al. Ba’al walks over to the driver’s side door and steps in before turning on the ignition.

Frost: “Now Chris…there’s a couple of options ya have. Ya could close yer eyes and hope…”

Frost smirks as Chris looks up and swings.

Frost: “Or…see if ya can get free.”

Ba’al then suddenly steps on the gas and we hear the sound of the engine going, but the car doesn’t move. Instead, Foxx just laughs before walking over to Aiken who hands her something. She then can be seen to have a pair of shears that presumably were in the trunk. She cuts the rope and Chris just rolls over.

Frost: “Ya saw that we would do it. Now Chris…this is the big decision for ya…toss yer perfect princess over the top and she gets away scot free….help her win…and I destroy both her and you. Now what would that bitch Silas want?”

Frost then goes to stomp him, but Chris catches the boot and shoves her back. He then gets up and spears her down before Rachel runs over and kicks him in the side of the head. He rolls over and starts to get up and Foxx grabs him and DDTs him on the concrete. She grimaces a bit before starting to get up. Foxx then gets up. Frost gets up and runs over and stomps Chris in the back of the head before Aiken walks over and pulls her back.

Sharper: “My God…They were going to….”

Knots: “They didn’t.”

Sharper: “But gave Chris Cannon a hell of a decision and the fact is…you and I both know that Rachel Frost will go through with it….”

Ba’al and Cassidy return to their car as does Foxx. The Frosts meanwhile back away from Chris Cannon as Cannon rolls over in pain. The cameraman looks around before then putting the camera down and turning it off. The scene abruptly cuts off as we then go to commercial.

Breakdown returns as we see a still of Rachel Frost standing over Chris Cannon.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Normally we wouldn’t replay footage like this as it wasn’t originally approved by SCW, but the fact is that this is a huge turn of events for the battle royal.”

Knots: “She threatened Chris Cannon regarding Kelcey Wallace this Sunday…”

MOMENTS AGO:

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

The lights dim slightly and the spotlights point down at the stage as the fans quieten in expectation. A woman whispering can be heard across the PA system.

“Don’t bless me father, for I have sinned...”

“Miss Nothing” by The Pretty Reckless begins playing across the PA system as the fans erupt in boos. As the boos continue to ring out Autumn Valentine walks through the curtain, spinning around on the stage before holding her arms out to the side and posing on the stage, enjoying the reaction of the fans. She holds the Women’s Championship around her waist.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
Dark Fantasy

Autumn grins at the camera before blowing it a kiss and skipping down to the ring. She jumps on to the ring apron and climbs up on to the ropes, sitting on the top rope for a second before flipping over and landing on her feet in the ring. She runs to the furthest corner and leaps up, raising her arms in to the air and further enjoying the reaction of the fans before again flipping out of the corner and landing on her feet. She then heads to the corner and is handed a microphone.

Sharper: “Autumn Valentine joining us. She’ll have this Sunday off, but that doesn’t mean the Women’s Champ isn’t busy.”

Knots: “Gigi still focusing on her. And who knows who else? Mikaela?”

Autumn walks back to the middle of the ring. She looks around as the crowd gives her more of a mixed reaction. She takes it in for a moment as her music fades out.

Autumn: “Last week, Alexis Quinne and I showed the world why we have been ushering in a new reign of women’s competition. Now, while Alexis may be in the battle royal this Sunday, I am not and that’s for one simple reason….I care about this first and foremost.”

Autumn taps the faceplate of the Women’s Title.

Autumn: “See, I’m here to defend this title and set a new standard…one set originally by people like Syren…”

The crowd cheers.

Autumn: “But there’s someone else. And last week, I had the chance to face them. Now…I didn’t pin them. I wasn’t involved in the decision. And no, I’m not talking about Gigi Steward. You and I, Gigi, our paths may cross, but something else about your pleading gave me something I wanted….and that’s the attention of Katie herself.”

The crowd roars. Autumn then smiles a bit.

Autumn: “See, I wanted to pin you last week in the middle of this ring. I wanted to pin the same person who won this title five times. The same person who has opened so many doors for women in this federation time and time again. And I wanted to be the one to pin your shoulders to the mat and see if I could be at you. But Alexis got that chance…and I’m not pleased with that in the slightest.”

Autumn pauses for a moment before looking up.

Autumn: “Well Katie, as you look to become the first ever female to win the battle royal and add another line to your CV…I almost hope you lose only so I can maybe get an answer to this. I may not be competing this Sunday, but I’m happy to defend this title against those deserving. And Katie, you are deserving because of your track record. And I’m willing to put this belt on the line to face you just so I have the opportunity to beat you like I want. I’ll give you some time to thing about it. But hopefully, I have your attention now.”

Autumn then lowers the microphone and looks right at the camera. “Miss Nothing” starts to play. Autumn turns and hands the microphone off. She then walks across the ring before exiting t othe floor.

Sharper: “Clear message…Autumn wants Katie Steward!”

Knots: “Ha! Doesn’t want Gigi! Wants Katie!”

Sharper: “Well this is certainly an interesting turn of events and you have to wonder what the Stewards are thinking!”

Autumn continues to walk on her way to the back as the crowd gives her a mixed reaction before we cut backstage.

We open up backstage to see Jessica Winters standing next to Jake Starr. The crowd cheers seeing the former US Champion. He just looks at the camera.

Jessica: “Jake, a lot of things to talk about. We could start with the US Title, but who was this Thoren you were talking about last week.”

Starr just shakes his head.

Starr: “That…don’t worry about. That was nothing. A nephew of mine interested in wrestling. He not one of the forty, so right now I don’t care. As for the US Title, I have my rematch and I know it’s coming. Have the date circled. June 28th, Supreme Saturday. It’s happening. But right now, the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal is my focus. And there aren’t too many things in my SCW career I haven’t done. Winning the battle royal is one of them…but there is another thing…”

Starr pauses.

Starr: “Main eventing Rise to Greatness. And I have a little contract. I know, I know. It’s a bit of a cheap way out. But frankly, I’d rather win the battle royal, much like Syren said. But if not….I will be standing there in the spotlight in Miami. And the Champion will be getting ready to face me. That’s what will happen one way or another. I guarantee.”

Starr smiles as the turns and walks off. Jessica watches him walk off.

Knots: “Great…”

Sharper: “More Breakdown after this…”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

Breakdown returns and we see Autumn Valentine walking through the backstage area. The crowd gives a mixed reaction to her as she continues down the hallway before suddenly, Alexis Quinne runs up to her.

Quinne: “Hey! Autumn!”

Autumn stops and turns to her.

Autumn: “Alexis…”

Quinne: “So I saw that out there…what was up with that?”

Autumn: “I want to face Katie.”

Quinne: “Ah…you did and you kicked her ass. I got the pin and all, but so what. We showed that the Stewards are no match for us.”

Autumn: “For us…and now I want to see one on one.”

Quinne: “But uh…well…I thought that maybe you could do with a far more awesome challenge…like pint-sized awesome.”

Autumn: “I want to face Katie. That’s who’s next on my radar.”

Autumn then turns and walks off as Alexis just watches her walk off. She grumbles to herself before turning and heading off in the opposite direction.

Ben McCaron vs. A$AP Scrappy

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Harlem, New York; weighing in at 220 pounds... A$AP SCRAPPY!”

A quick siren sound is heard at the beginning of "Survival Tactics" by Joey Bada$$ as the lights dim and fire explodes out of the corner turnbuckles for a brief moment as the real song continues.

N*ggas don't want war
I'm a martian with an army of Spartans
Sparring with a knife in a missile fight

A$AP Scrappy comes walking out from the back in a black wifebeater, baggy black jeans, black Lugz boots, and the black eye patch on his eye as the crowd cheers. He looks into the crowd and smiles sadistically before walking down the ramp and smacking fans hands until he reaches the bottom. He then runs to the ring and slides in. He then jumps onto the closest turnbuckle to his right before grabbing the top of his bald head with both heads and screaming out to the crowd before slapping his face. He jumps down and beats his chest with a look of intensity on his face before going to his corner. He takes off his eye patch and throws it out of the ring before beginning to roll and "crack" his knuckles in the same fashion as MMA fighter Wanderlei Silva but with a huge sadistic smile on his face as he waits for the match to begin.

Sharper: “A$AP Scrappy was as surprised as the rest of us when Typhoid Mary returned at Supreme Saturday and announced that she was the number one entrant in the battle royal at Taking Hold of the Flame, and that revelation might’ve also thrown him off when later in the evening he just fell short of trying to dethrone Matt Auclair for the Underground Championship.”

Knots: “Let’s face it; the guy’s been a nutcase ever since he came back after Mary utterly destroyed him back at the End of the Year Special last year. He’s had an obsession with wanting to get his hands on her again for God knows what reason. Hell, he actually tried to demand that McCaron give up his number two spot just so he could start the battle royal with her!”

Sharper: “Scrappy tried to start a fight after Ben said no to that, hence the reason for this match here tonight.”

"The Last Song" by 12 Stones begins to play throughout the arena as red lights begin to flash in tune with the opening beat. As the song slows down with the beginning of the lyrics, the red lights freeze in place as Ben McCaron slowly walks out into the stage, his eyes locked to the ground as he positions himself in the center before taking a moment to make sure his mask is adjusted and fitting properly so as not to be removed for the match ahead. Once the chorus begins, the lights start to flash again as McCaron suddenly throws his arms up and red pyro explodes on the sides of the stage. With a confident smirk now in place, he begins making his way down to the ring while telling the fans in both English and Spanish that this match is his for the taking.

Phillips: “His opponent; from Juárez, Mexico; weighing in at 215 pounds... BEN McCARON!”

Sharper: “As we mentioned, Ben McCaron will be starting the battle royal at number two on Sunday. He announced to the world that he was taking the number one spot, but had to settle for number two when Mary beat him to the punch.”

Knots: “I admire this kid Sharper. He had the cojones, as he puts it, to want to start the match and make a huge impact, and I think he’ll do just that... assuming Mary doesn’t grind him up into a burrito at the start of the match.”

Sharper: “Ben has been quite irritated with the fact that he’s the number two entrant despite the fact that it still means he’s starting the match and has to literally outlast 39 other participants. He says it’s just a matter of pride and- look out!”

While the commentators were talking, Ben started sprinting the rest of the way to the ring. The interruption is because as soon as he got close to the ring, A$AP Scrappy came flying over the top rope and takes McCaron down with a huge suicide dive! The fans are roaring as Scrappy just gets up with that sadistic smile on his face as he pulls McCaron up just enough to drag him over towards the steep steps, where he proceeds to take Ben’s right arm and slam it down onto the top of the steps. McCaron instinctively starts trying to get away, clutching at his arm as Scrappy starts looking under the ring.

Sharper: “Scrappy just coming right at Ben before he even got in the ring. I guess if Ben won’t give him the number two entry in the battle royal, Scrappy’s going to try and take it by force!”

Knots: “This isn’t good Sharper; Ben can’t sustain an injury heading into that match, not when he’s willingly starting it! And why the hell is this thug snooping around under the ring? This isn’t Underground Rules!”

Sharper: “As much as I disagree with it Jon, the bell hasn’t rung yet so Scrappy’s free to do whatever he wants!”

Armed with this knowledge, as well as a steel chair now, Scrappy has started stalking McCaron and as soon as he gets back to his feet Scrappy swings for the fences and nails Ben hard on his right arm! McCaron falls back against the barricade before Scrappy grabs him by the mask and runs him facefirst into the ring post. Ben just lies against the post trying to recover as Scrappy repositions his arm so that it’s wrapped around the post before he steps back, grinning maliciously. He goes to swing the chair and try to possibly break Ben’s arm, but McCaron manages to slip away in the nick of time and the chair hits nothing but metal, causing Scrappy to drop the chair as his hands briefly go numb from the impact. While Scrappy’s trying to shake some feeling back into them, McCaron decides to exact some revenge by swinging a hard kick up right between the legs! Male fans immediately cringe at the sight as Scrappy topples to the mat like a redwood while the referee leans between the ropes, demanding that both men get in the ring to actually start the match.

Knots: “That’ll knock the thug down a few pegs!”

Sharper: “A sickening tactic by McCaron, one similar to what led to the eventual defeat of Scrappy’s friend Soopaman Luva some time back.”

Knots: “Well it’s like you said Adam: the bell hasn’t rung yet so it’s all legal. Besides, Scrappy was looking to break Ben’s arm! Turnabout’s fair play, I say!”

McCaron angrily says something in Spanish to the referee while trying to shake some feeling back into his arm while Scrappy is clearly in pain from the low blow but trying to carefully get back to his feet. With help from the apron he gets about halfway before McCaron cracks him upside the skull with a vicious roundhouse kick that knocks him loopy! Scrappy slumps against the apron as McCaron ets right in his face and mouths off to him before grabbing him by the head and slamming his face into the apron. Scrappy stumbles back against the barricade as McCaron rolls into the ring and checks his arm to make sure it’ll be fine as the referee reprimands him. Ben just pays no attention to him and lets him try and call Scrappy into the ring to officially start the match finally, but Scrappy doesn’t look like he’s in any condition to follow that order. This is when Ben decides to climb to the top rope and proceeds to leap off at Scrappy with a flying crossbody, but Scrappy picks now to move and leaves Ben to crash and burn against the barricade, his right arm taking most of the impact!

Sharper: “McCaron took a risk to try and further knock Scrappy out of commission to pick up a quick and easy three count, but he hit nothing but the barricade!”

Knots: “Why would you take a risk like that when you have the man hurting already and you know you’re starting a forty man battle royal in a few nights’ time?”

McCaron is slowly trying to recover against the barricade as he clutches at his arm as Scrappy just watches him, taking a moment to recover as well before he moves in and grabs McCaron’s mask with one hand while the other starts raining down punches onto the top of his skull. The referee exits the ring and tries to pull Scrappy off of McCaron and get the match going officially, and Scrappy seems to comply once the referee tells him so as he backs off. The ref checks with Ben to see how he’s feeling, and this is when Scrappy grabs the chair again and proceeds to ride it like a skateboard as his feet drive the chair right into McCaron’s right shoulder! Ben cries out in pain as the referee starts yelling at Scrappy, who just ignores him as he jerks Ben to his feet by the mask and then rolls him into the ring before sliding in after him. The referee joins them as Scrappy pulls McCaron up and irish whips him into the ropes before catching him with a leg lariat on the rebound. Scrappy moves in to continue the assault, but the referee manages to put himself between the two men and force Scrappy to back off, and he hesitantly backs up into the nearest corner. The referee checks with McCaron to see if he can go as Ben tries to get to his feet, clutching at his arm and shoulder in clear pain. He nods to the referee as he just barely gets back up to his feet, and the ref finally signals for the bell and the official start to this match.

Sharper: “And we’re finally underway officially here.”

Knots: “Yeah, after Scrappy Doo got a solid few minutes of abusing the lack of rules because of it!”

Sharper: “Well maybe Ben should have reconsidered and given Scrappy his number in the battle royal then.”

Knots: “...you’re joking, right?”

Scrappy just carefully eyes McCaron as he tries to slowly close the distance between the two men, but as soon as Ben’s close enough he suddenly leaps at him with a thesz press and starts raining down blows while Ben tries to cover up. Scrappy then suddenly floats over and tries to lock on an arm triangle choke, but McCaron is very quick to get a foot on the bottom rope before he can get it fully applied, and Scrappy breaks immediately. McCaron starts to get up, and this is when Scrappy lands a hard left cross on Ben’s right shoulder that sends the luchador reeling back into the corner, moving his good arm into a position to try and shield any more attempts to attack his bad arm. Scrappy comes charging in and crushes McCaron in the corner with a spinning wheel kick before grabbing him in a side headlock and running him out of the corner with a bulldog.

Knots: “First he tries to steal Ben’s entry number and now he’s stealing his moves! Why hasn’t he been arrested yet?”

Sharper: “McCaron is in a very bad way right now as Scrappy has just been aggressively trying to take him out of not only this match, but maybe the battle royal as well.”

Scrappy stretches Ben’s arm out a bit so that he’s not holding it close to his body before he does a brief handstand in order to drop a knee down right on the elbow. McCaron cries out in pain and tries to pull his arm away, but Scrappy hold it in position before repeating the process again, and this time he lets McCaron roll out onto the apron trying to protect his arm. Scrappy waits for him to get back to his feet before charging at him again, but McCaron sidesteps as Scrappy attempts to knock him off the apron with a forearm smash and then proceeds to catch Scrappy right between the eyes with a jumping kick! Scrappy stumbles back as McCaron takes a moment to try and shake some feeling back into his right arm before he manages to pull himself onto the top rope and springboards off to catch Scrappy with a tornado DDT using his good arm! The fans start booing McCaron as he clutches at his bad arm, unable to follow up.

Sharper: “McCaron with an impressive springboard tornado DDT to take back the momentum, but how much is that arm going to affect him going forward?”

Knots: “Ben should have never taken this match Sharper. He should’ve just stayed home and had a fiesta to celebrate the performance he’s going to have this Sunday. Now I can’t help but question how prepared he’ll be with only one good arm to throw people out.”

Both men get back to their feet, but Scrappy is the less damaged of the two and quickly tries to regain the advantage by lifting McCaron for a scoop slam, but McCaron manages to wiggle free and slide down behind Scrappy, intentionally raking his eyes on the way down! Scrappy’s hands immediately go to his eyes as he cries out in pain, and this allows Ben to charge after him and catch him right in the back of the head with a high knee. Scrappy hits the mat and rolls over just in time for McCaron to catch him with a standing moonsault! McCaron goes for the cover while hooking the leg with his good arm.

Scrappy kicks out! McCaron is undeterred however as he waits for Scrappy to get back to his feet before nailing a dropkick, making sure he doesn’t land on his bad arm. Scrappy falls back and bounces off the ropes before walking right into a left-armed clothesline from the luchador. Scrappy tries to quickly get to his feet but McCaron takes the opportunity to go for a hurricanrana that sends Scrappy through the ropes and out to the floor! As Scrappy tries to recover, McCaron tests the top rope to see if he could attempt another springboard but quickly pulls back as his aching right arm tells him he clearly can’t pull it off again. Instead, as he sees Scrappy almost to his feet he decides to run off the opposite ropes and goes for a baseball slide, and as he does it’s revealed that Scrappy had grabbed another steel chair out from under the ring, but whatever he had planned for it gets short-circuited as McCaron’s baseball slide unintentionally drives the chair right into Scrappy’s face!

Knots: “What the hell is Scrappy thinking? Before the bell it was at least sort-of understandable, but the bell’s long since rung.”

Sharper: “I don’t think Scrappy cares about winning this match Jon, he just wants to make sure Ben McCaron physically cannot make it to Taking Hold of the Flame so he can take his spot and start the battle royal with Mary.”

Knots: “How much you want to bet she doesn’t even care about what Scrappy wants?”

As Ben joins Scrappy on the floor he smiles on seeing the chair he ended up driving into Scrappy’s face, which the referee allows only because it was clear he had no idea the chair would come into play. As the referee starts to count both men out he takes the opportunity to pull Scrappy up in a front facelock, looking to DDT him on the chair while the ref hasn’t taken notice of where it is. Scrappy, however, has other ideas as he suddenly starts driving McCaron back until Ben’s spine impacts the ring post! McCaron winces and slumps a bit while Scrappy takes a moment to recover and try to shake off the cobwebs. He grabs Ben and rolls him back into the ring except for his right arm, which he proceeds to wrap around the ring post as he applies a modified figure four armbar utilizing it! McCaron is screaming in agony and stomps his heels into the mat as the referee leans through the ropes and starts giving Scrappy a five count to break the hold, which Scrappy does at four with a sadistic smile while Ben rolls away from the corner, his arm in a lot of pain now.

Sharper: “Scrappy with a dangerous hold around the ring post, and one has to wonder how much more Ben’s arm can take.”

Knots: “If he’s not careful, Scrappy might just take it backstage with him to try and brag to Mary about what he can do. The last thing this thug needs to be allowed to do is brag.”

Scrappy rolls back into the ring and pulls McCaron up by the mask before hammerlocking his arm behind his back, and from here he takes Ben over into a northern lights suplex right on top of the hammerlocked arm! To add extra pressure to the damaged arm, Scrappy holds the bridge for a pin attempt.

McCaron manages to kick out! Both men get back to their feet and Scrappy immediately moves in and hooks McCaron’s bad arm before taking him down with a flying armbar! McCaron screams out in pain as Scrappy tries to rip his arm out of socket, but refuses to give up when the referee asks him if he submits. Scrappy keeps applying pressure to the arm and shoulder as Ben tries to roll himself into a position to try and fight his way out of the hold, and when he manages to do so he starts trying to dig his fingers into Scrappy’s eyes! Scrappy almost immediately lets go and tries to get away from Ben in order to protect his vision as McCaron slowly makes it back to his feet. He tries to kick Scrappy only for his foot to get caught, but McCaron swings his other leg around for an enzuigiri! ...except Scrappy manages to duck it, and once Ben’s in position he tries to go for the flying armbar again, only for McCaron to slip free and catch a turning Scrappy right on the side of the head with a big roundhouse kick! Scrappy manages to stay on his feet but is clearly dazed, and this allows McCaron to run past him and grab him for a running neckbreaker using his good arm! He immediately rolls over into the cover but can’t hook the leg with his bad arm.

2...

Scrappy gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “McCaron trying hard to fight back into this match and end it before his arm suffers any more damage.”

Knots: “And he’s going for the head, which is clearly messed up to begin with, but I doubt it’s a hundred percent physically considering he took a chain-powered Deathblow from Auclair just a week and a half ago.”

McCaron lets out a frustrated scream before he suddenly mounts Scrappy and starts dropping hammerfists using only his left hand. Scrappy tries to push him off before he instead starts grabbing for Ben’s bad arm looking to reverse the positioning, but McCaron wisely gets back up and stomps down hard on Scrappy’s gut. This forces Scrappy up to a seated position where McCaron spins around and catches him with another stiff roundhouse kick! Instead of going for the cover, however, he just starts landing stomp after stomp to Scrappy’s face every time he tries to get back up again. The repeated stomps force Scrappy into the nearest corner, where McCaron backs off only to wait for him to get back up. As he does, McCaron charges in hoping to hit his step-up high knee but Scrappy suddenly comes out of the corner with a nasty left hook right on the jaw! The fans are rallying behind Scrappy as he grabs McCaron’s head and starts running towards the corner for the Koke Wave, but McCaron manages to slip free and shoves him forward while slipping a foot into just the right spot to trip him up, sending him headfirst into the top turnbuckle! Scrappy slowly turns around in a daze only to eat a step-up high knee from McCaron after all! Ben then grabs him by the head using his left hand and pulls him out of the corner a bit with a one-handed bulldog before he turns his attention to the top rope.

Sharper: “Vicious back and forth exchange there that ends with McCaron on top, and now he may be thinking about trying the Fading Hope.”

Knots: “Considering all the damage done to his arm, I don’t know if he’d be able to climb up there to try it, much less execute it properly.”

McCaron still attempts to climb to the top turnbuckle, and despite some difficulty he manages to do so. However, Scrappy has had time to recover and rushes in, leaping up onto the second turnbuckle and grabbing McCaron only for the luchador to respond with a series of headbutts until Scrappy is knocked off and plummets to the canvas. Ben takes a moment to steady himself and shake off the daze from the headbutts as he briefly contemplates his options and realizes the Fading Hope can’t be properly executed with his arm as damaged as it is. Donning a sadistic smile to rival Scrappy’s from earlier, McCaron instead leaps off the top and still pulls off a shooting star rotation before he crushes Scrappy’s skull with a knee drop! McCaron quickly throws his body over Scrappy’s for the cover.

3!

The bell rings as "The Last Song" by 12 Stones hits again. The referee goes to raise McCaron’s arm but he waives him off and stomps Scrappy’s head one last time for good measure before slipping out of the ring and starting to head towards the back, clutching his right arm close to his body.

Phillips: “Here is your winner... BEN McCARON!”

Sharper: “It wasn’t the Fading Hope, but a nasty-looking shooting star knee drop capitalizes on Scrappy’s head injuries and nets McCaron the win and some momentum heading into Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Knots: “Yeah, but that arm’s seriously hurting him Adam, and remember the fact that we know he’ll be one of the first two entrants in the match. Its bad enough Mary’s the other starting entrant and will no doubt try and rip that arm off now, but he still has thirty-eight other competitors besides her to worry about, especially with a big target on that arm now.”

The scene opens up backstage to see Angelica Jones on the phone. She can be seen quite animated, pacing back and forth.

Sharper: “There’s Angelica Jones. She made her debut last week.”

Knots: “Looks like she’s having a hell of a phone call.”

Sharper: “Some issues with her manager on twitter. With the battle royal on the horizon, she could be looking to set herself up for something big.”

Jones continues to talk into the phone, almost yelling now.

Knots: “Well it’s the biggest and more important time of the year. This is where you make a statement.”

The scene focuses on Jones for a few moments longer before the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

Breakdown returns and the scene opens up with Regan Street standing at the SCW interview area. The crowd cheers seeing her. We then see Marisa Condolesa standing next to her.

Condolesa: “Regan…you’re one of the forty in the battle royal this Sunday. Everyone is making some of their final statements. Any comments before the big night this Sunday…”

Regan turns to Condolesa.

Regan: “I could preach the same crap that everyone else is spewing. Let’s make this simple…this is my night to ensure I get my long awaited rematch and on the biggest night of the year. Do you doubt that I’m going to do anything to get it….and on top of that…I get to throw some people I’m not a huge fan of….Syren….Rachel Frost….even Kelcey Wallace. And that’s just the start. This Sunday, the Hellcat is going to make sure that on the night before her birthday…she reigns supreme!”

Regan pauses as she then looks up and Matt Auclair walks into view, holding the Underground Championship. He just smirks.

Auclair: “We’ll see about that.”

Auclair smirks as Regan just looks at him and the scene then cuts away.

We open up with a shot of the ring.

Sharper: “You know everyone is looking to walk away the winner of the Forty Person Battle Royal. We know a lot of surprises may be on tap. I do know of one. We will see a new contract signee…Doomsday, make his first appearance in an SCW ring.”

Knots: “Huge opportunity. Not just that though…Typhoid Mary…McCaron to start it off…”

Sharper: “Big night…Taking Hold of the Flame is this Sunday…and it’s the start of the Road to Rise to Greatness!”

“Desire” by Maestro Fresh Wes featuring Lights starts to play as the Taking Hold of the Flame logo comes up on the screen. The logo remains up for a moment before we see stills of each of the matches.

Tommy Valentine vs. William Mason

Sharper: “William Mason wanted to challenge Tommy Valentine. But now with Tommy’s involvement in stopping Mason’s attack on Gable Winchester. The involvement on Cameron Chase, Mason is looking to make an example out of Tommy Valentine.”

Knots: “Yeah. Tommy may have his challenge, but he’s going to have a hell of one with a very motivated William Mason!”

Ravyn Taylor vs. Merrick Wiseman

SCW United States Championship

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor received a contract for the US Title from someone for her birthday. She celebrated by helping Merrick Wiseman win the title.”

Knots: “Wiseman can say what he wants. He can say that he doesn’t recognize himself as the champion. All I’ll say…Ravyn made it clear that Wiseman made it personal. We may not see justice. We could see a new champion!”

Selena Frost vs. Thomas Watson

SCW Adrenaline Championship

Sharper: “Selena Frost will challenge Thomas Watson for the Adrenaline Championship. It’s the step one in this minor series between these two.”

Knots: “Tag Title shot coming for the Watsons. Selena wanted this shot. She’ll get it. I just hope she’s ready for a war.”

Trinity Street vs. Kennedy Street

Sharper: “This will definitely be that though…a war. Kennedy Street may have broken up the marriage of Trinity Street and Simon Lyman and Trinity is looking for revenge.”

Knots: “Yeah, but she’s making a lot of threats. And I’m sorry, but I’ve never gone wrong with the sexy, flawless diva. She’s the Star of Tomorrow, the rightful number one contender. Come on!”

Simon Lyman vs. Shaun Cruze

SCW World Championship

Sharper: “The World Title will be on the line. Simon Lyman getting the shot and this has become more and more personal. It’s a chance for Imperium to be knocked down a few pegs. Simon Lyman also getting the shot instead of Kennedy Street or any other suitor.”

Knots: “Yeah and Simon Lyman better be ready to have the greatest match of his career. Cruze is ready to go. He’s taken on all comers. And he’s going to show why he’s the World Champion!”

40 Person Taking Hold of the Flame Battle Royal

Sharper: “And finally, the match that has become a yearly staple. The Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal, forty entrants this year, huge field. Look at the names, Jake Starr, Syren, Kelcey Wallace, Regan Street, Kennedy Street and many more.”

Knots: “This is a chance for someone to leapfrog to the top of the ladder very quickly. Ben McCaron looking to do that. And that’s just one name. Forty people, only one will go to Rise to Greatness in Miami to challenge for the World Title at Rise to Greatness!”

The Taking Hold of the Flame logo comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Huge night. It sets up the next two months. Rise to Greatness just around the corner. First stop, this Sunday, in Atlanta, Taking Hold of the Flame, live on pay per view!”

The logo remains on the screen for a few moments longer.

“Rescue Me” then starts to play. We see the Breakdown logo before a shot of Donovan Kayl and then a shot of Shaun Cruze both showing both.

Sharper: “Main event time here on Breakdown. Shaun Cruze faces off against Donovan Kayl.”

Knots: “Time for a message to be sent!”

Sharper: “This match, it’s next!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

Shaun Cruze vs. Donovan Kayl

"Epic" by Faith No More starts to play as the spotlight focuses on the top of the ramp. Immediately, the crowd rise to their feet in a raucous ovation.

Can you feel it
See it
Hear it today?
If you can't, then it doesn't matter anyway
You will never understand it 'cause it happens too fast
And it feels so good, it's like walking on glass

Stepping out to the top of the ramp is "The Cornerstone" Donovan Kayl. He steps to the side, facing out to the crowd.

It's so cool
It's so hip
It's alright
It's so groovy
It's outta sight
You can touch it
Smell it
Taste it so sweet
But it makes no difference 'cause it knocks you off your feet

After turning his head to survey the entire crowd, he turns to face the front of the ramp, beginning to walk out towards the ring.[/i]

You want it all but you can't have it

Kayl keeps his eyes focused on the ring ahead, and with a stoic gaze in his eyes, slaps the hands of a few fans at ringside.

It's cryin'
Bleedin'
Lying on the floor
So you lay down on it and you do it some more
You've got to share it
So you dare it
Then you bare it
And you tear it

Once he gets to the bottom of the ramp, Donovan pulls himself up onto the apron, walking over to the corner. He climbs up onto the second rope, looking out over the crowd, until the second chorus hits...

You want it all but you can't have it
It's in your face but you can't grab it

Kayl throws his arms up for the roaring crowd, shouting out something that's just impossible to hear outside of the first couple of rows nearby. He hops the top rope into the ring, moving to the middle where he spins once, dropping to a knee and shooting his arms out. He drops his head as the crowd showers the ring with streamers, cascading down around him as he looks at the ring under his knee before raising his head upward slowly.

Sharper: “Donovan Kayl has a chance to really make a statement here tonight. He’s one of the forty in the battle royal. If he can beat the World Champion, you know that’ll make him feel good.”

Knots: “Yeah, but the fact is that he’s taking on Shaun Cruze. This is the man that pinned Regan Street and Kelcey Wallace in the same match. He’s been just amazing in that ring. This is going to be a showcase of what Cruze can do to Lyman this Sunday!”

Shaun makes his way down the ramp, a cocky grin on his face. The SCW World Championship sits over his shoulder. Shaun takes his time, allowing the fans in attendance to see him, nonchalantly nodding his head to the reaction he is getting, both the good and the bad.

As he gets within ten feet of the ring he breaks out into a run sliding under the bottom rope and into the ring, kneeling in the middle of the ring with his hands on his knees’ smirking around him as he gets to his feet.

Shaun then picks a turnbuckle and climbs to the top of it, lifting his right arm aloft, holding the World Title over his head, to a massive negative reaction which brings the roof off the place. The lasers turning to strobes for just a few seconds before turning off altogether

"Everybody one for all,
Sound off, this is the call!

Rise
Like we're alive
Tonight we rise
Rise
Make a better life
Tonight we rise!"

Shaun jumps down off the turnbuckle and bounces off the strands, before going to his corner and sitting on the turnbuckle and looking at Kayl with a smirk. He places the title under his corner.

Sharper: “Cruze made it clear earlier tonight that Lyman is going to regret trying to take the fight to him.”

Knots: “Not just that. He said he was screwed and not like how he was when he got some time with Kennedy!”

Sharper: “Stop it….”

The bell sounds and Cruze looks at Kayl and hops off. Kayl watches him as the crowd starts to chant for Kayl. Kayl continues to watch Cruze before he starts to come out. Cruze watches him and the two jockey for a moment before both grapple and Cruze quickly turns into a side headlock. He pulls back and Kayl pulls him into the ropes and fires him off. Cruze bounces off the ropes and Kayl steps forward and Cruze shoulders him down. He then goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Cruze getting too cocky there. Holding onto Kayl and allowing him to get the enziguri off.”

Knots: “Well he wanted to make sure that he was in this. He wasn’t thinking about someone else or something else!”

Sharper: “And a great knee drop but not enough to keep him down.”

Knots: “It’s going to take more than that. Cruze isn’t just going to lay down to save himself for Taking Hold of the Flame, nor is he going to let Kayl have any satisfaction from this match!”

Sharper: “And wait a minute! That’s Stacy Kissinger!”

The camera cuts back to the ring as we see Stacy Kissinger entering the ring and running behind Cruze, jumping up and taking Cruze down with a running bulldog. The crowd ohs and cheers before Kissinger rolls over and a security guard tackles her down. She falls back and to the floor as Silas tells Harmony to get into the ring. Kelcey reluctantly goes too as Silas gets to the ring. Harmony enters and runs over to Cruze and stomps away at him. Kelcey enters slowly too as Stacy is pinned against the barricade as another guard holds her back and they handcuff her before dragging her towards the back .Silas just smiles as Stacy is dragged to the back.

Sharper: “Stacy Kissinger getting handcuffed! She shouldn’t be in here!”

Knots: “Clearly Silas snuck her in and Harmony going to town on Cruze!”

Sharper: “Kelcey Wallace in the ring and look! Here comes Syren!”

We then see Cruze turn around as Simon Lyman is there and he lunges and drills Cruze with the Leading the Revolution. Simon Lyman then stands over the champion.

Sharper: “No one is getting that? Simon Lyman is going to try and he just nailed Cruze!”
