A shot of Kelcey
Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of
Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise
to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his
way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn
Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a
shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot
of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme
Saturday: Just Desserts.

Chris Cannon spearing Kennedy
Street and Owen Cruze follows before we see a shot of
Cassidy Carter dancing on her way to the ring, and then a shot of Regan Street
and Datura swinging chairs at one another. The Breakdown logo comes up on the
screen and remains on it for a few moments.
We then cut to a live shot of
the inside of the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The cameras pan
across the crowd for a few moments.
Sharper: “We are four days away
from Under Attack and we are live from the heart of the Midwest, Kansas City,
Missouri!”
The cameras pan across the
crowd before we cut to the announce table to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan
Knots seated behind it.
Sharper: “Hello again
everyone. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and folks, a
lot to dissect tonight. We hope to get more information regarding Selena
Frost’s unsanctioned contest with Xander Valentine,
but she’ll be in action tonight.”
Knots: “Well if you’re going
to prepare to face someone who is unpredictable, you face someone who doesn’t
care for their own body in Max Kane!”
Sharper: “Not just that, Clyde
Sutter will challenge for the Television Championship and we have a lot of
questions regarding Sienna Swann, Glory Braddock. We had those masked
individuals attack James Evans, Alistaire Allocco, Glory Braddock. What is going on among the World
Championship contenders?”
The first chords
of "When Legends Rise" begins to play over the PA system.
Glory Braddock walks out from the back.
Knots: “Looks like we’re going
to get some answers!”
Sharper: “Glory Braddock last
week seemed to at least entertain working with Sienna Swann. By the end, she
made clear she would only do what was necessary in the ring and Sienna Swann
immediately hit her with the Kiss of an Angel.”
Knots: “Glory didn’t want to
use a chair on James Evans when to her, she had it won!”
LAST WEEK:
Sienna grabs the chair and turns and hands it to Glory.
Glory looks at it. Sienna turns and points to James. Sienna turns around and
runs over and kicks at Alistaire as he tries to get
back in. Sienna turns back and Glory drops the chair. Glory then stomps away on
James. The crowd cheers as Sienna looks at her and then grabs the steel chair
and grabs Glory and turns to her. Glory spins around and looks at her. Sienna
says something sternly to her before extending the chair to her. Glory turns
around and grabs James and Sienna looks back and shakes her head. She drops the
chair and spins Glory around and hits the Kiss of an Angel on Glory. Glory just
drops. Sienna then drops down and rolls to the floor. Bree gets Scott and Scott
turns and follows Bree as Bree joins Sienna.
Sienna: “Not going to work. She doesn’t know her place!”
James looks up and looks at Sienna before then looking at
Glory. He then goes for the pin.
1!
2!
3!
The bell sounds. The Breakdown logo comes up on the
screen.
Sharper: “You see how James
Evans then pinned Glory to end it. Sienna saying “this is not
going to work.””
Knots: “Glory has had a while
to think about it. I’m sure she’s thrilled.”
Glory Braddock walks along the
ropes on the apron and enters the ring. She then walks across and asks for a
microphone. Phillips hands her one and she takes it and walks back over to the
middle of the ring. She looks down and walks around.
Glory: “I guess there’s a
little bit I have to get off my chest tonight!”
The crowd roars.
Glory: “But too bad that the
woman I need to say half of it to isn’t here because
for some reason, she’s late tonight. Her personal jet ran out of charity? There
was a homeless person outside a mall she could dress up in Prada? Bree
Lancaster took seriously her crap about people not deserving a shot at her?”
Glory chuckles and shakes her
head.
Glory: “No…see, she just knows
that she has a receipt coming. Because I just have to rub my jaw and remember
when you dropped me with that knee. But unlike you, I’m not going to ask SCW to
ban it because frankly, part of me should have seen it coming. You’ve been about
as disingenuous as it comes. But I trusted Angelica.”
Glory pauses. She then looks
up and holds her hand up as the crowd boos a bit.
Glory: “And I still trust her.
She didn’t know that you’re THIS close to snapping. THIS close to realizing
that everyone is not only onto you, but the Perfect Ten, the IronAngel…she may not have all of the answers!”
Glory smirks.
Glory: “She wanted a pawn. She
didn’t want an ally. And there was a part of me…if this was just the two of us, looking to get to the end…for the World Title…it
would’ve been worth it. But when she took that steel chair…she then wanted to
me to use it when I already had James Evans beat…”
Glory pauses looking at the
camera.
Glory: “I knew that she wanted
someone to carry her to the end to steal it all and well, Sienna knew I
realized that too. See, that’s the thing. Sienna can’t handle people not
blowing smoke her up ass and while Bree, Chris and so many others may do that,
I damn sure won’t. But what I can tell you….”
Glory chuckles and looks at
the camera some more.
Glory: “I plan on walking out
of the Chamber as World Champion! See, what Owen and Alsitaire
had to say….I don’t really care. I know they’re good.
I know they can compete. I know they even deserve to be in this conversation
for World Champions and World Champion contenders…but they have a very naïve
outlook. I know I can beat Syren…and I proved last
week I can beat James Evans! So Sienna…remember that I
owe you a receipt and it will be coming at Under Attack!”
The crowd cheers, but as Glory
finishes, “Door to Door Cannibals” by Cheville starts
to play. The crowd roars as James Evans walks out from the back, a microphone
in his hand. Glory turns and James Evans steps forward and shakes his head.
Glory walks forward.
James: “Too bad that you got
taken in by the BS Factory, but Glory, I don’t feel bad for you except for the
fact that you think you had me beat last week.”
Glory: “You know damn sure its true.”
James: “You got a few kicks
in. But even the chair shot wasn’t going to keep me down. And Syren even tried and I’ll let her know what I think about
that when I walk out champion this Sunday. But frankly, all that matters is
exactly what I said last week…who won. Who lost? I won. You lost. It’s that simple.
So did Sienna….So did Bree.”
Glory: “Then I think we have a
bit of a problem and we can solve that pretty simple and we don’t need to wait
for this Sunday!”
The crowd roars. James smirks.
James: “You’ve been getting
some tips from Angelica then, well, Glory, if you want a match tonight, I’m
happy to oblige and also make clear to everyone in that Chamber why I’ve wanted
this opportunity to get back to the top!”
Glory: “Just bring your masked
guys. You may need them to save your ass by getting your disqualified!”
James: “If they show up, I’ll
kick their ass too!”
James steps back as “Door to
Door Cannibals” starts to play throughout the arena again.
Sharper: “James Evans and
Glory Braddock challenging one another for tonight, on Breakdown!”
Knots: “Sasha better act
quick. Things picking up here on Kansas!”
Sharper: “And we’re just
getting started. If this is signed, huge main event.
But we’re waiting for Sienna Swann and Bree Lancaster! We’re looking for
answers regarding Selena Frost facing Xander
Valentine in an Empty Arena match AFTER Under Attack goes off the air.”
Knots: “What else is going to
happen tonight?”
James returns to the back as
Glory Braddock remains in the ring, looking on as the crowd buzzes and we cut
away.
Backstage, we see Asher Hayes
walking backstage in his gear. The crowd cheers seeing him
before we see Jessica Winters waiting for him. Asher Hayes smirks as he
walks over to her, straightening the SCW Adrenaline Championship over his
shoulder.
Jessica: “Asher, in a few
moments, you’ll be facing Scarlet Grey. But last week, Regan Street sent a
message. She looked right into the camera after pinning London Truelove saying
that she’s ready for you.”
Asher smirks.
Asher: “Good. Because I’m ready to hold onto this. Remember what I
said…every reign I’ve had in SCW…over one hundred days. I don’t mess around
when I’m a champion! And Regan…you’ll be alone in a couple of days. I’m ready
for you. I’ll even show it when I’m taking on Scarlet and Scarlet…I
know you like to use your body to get ahead. But I’m one hundred percent
focused!”
Jessica: “One hundred
percent?”
Asher: “Okay…ninety-nine. She
may throw something at me I don’t see coming. But…uh….Regan…don’t
let that trap you. Totally set to kick your ass this Sunday!”
Asher smirks and walks off.
Jessica shakes her head.
Jessica: “Our Adrenaline
Champion, Adam…”
Sharper: “And he’ll be up
next, in non-title action, here on Breakdown!”
The scene fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
Scarlet Grey vs. Asher Hayes
Nymphetamine (Deva-Fix) begins to play,
and once the guitars kick in the lights dim just enough for red and white
lights to stand out as they sway across the stage. Out from the back saunters
Scarlet Grey, a smirk on her lips as she purposely sways her hips, drawing the
gaze of every fan in the arena as they are entranced by the mere sight of her
walking down the ramp, putting every runway model in existence to shame without
even actually trying. She slowly walks up the steps before stepping between the
top and second ropes, taking her sweet time with it to show off not only her
ample display of cleavage but also the greatest ass god himself ever created
for a woman. Once she's in the ring she waits in the corner, eyes moving over
to the referee with a look that's just begging for him to come over and
'inspect' her for foreign objects.
Sharper: “Our next contest will pit Scarlet Grey against the current SCW
Adrenaline Champion, Asher Hayes.”
Knots: “Scarlet is coming off a loss against Datura, but with the fact that
Datura had to step away due to an injury sustained at her hands, I’m sure
Scarlet sees it as a win.”
Sharper: “You’d have to think she could look to do the same to Asher as well.”
The arena lights dim down, as the opening riffs of "Rope" by the Foo
Fighters echo throughout the arena. At the 13 second mark, the name "Asher
Hayes" blares through the sound system. As the arena lights return to
normal, Asher appears on the stage, the SCW Adrenaline Championship over his
shoulder. He makes his way down the ramp as the cheers of the crowd rain down
upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting
both fists, as well the Adrenaline title into the air, saluting the crowd
before dropping down and running to the opposite side, repeating the same
action. Asher steps down, handing the title to the timekeeper
before turning his attention to Scarlet and the referee.
Sharper: “Asher Hayes, coming off a huge win over
Regan Helms at Apocalypse. Just days away from the rematch.”
Knots: “It stole the show in its own right, and I’m sure they will do all they can to not only top that match but outdo one another.”
Sharper: “Regan teamed with Selena last week, picking up a win over the
Truelove Twins. Asher would love to go into his title defense with momentum as
well. Now, lets go to
Phillips for our introductions.”
Asher and Scarlet are shown staring at one another as Phillips steps up.
Phillips: “This following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first,
from Parts Unknown, she is…Scarlet! Grey!”
The crowd can be heard booing.
Phillips: “And her opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, he is the current SCW
Adrenaline Champion…he is…Asher! Hayes!”
The crowd cheers before the ref calls for the bell. Asher and Scarlet begin to
circle one another, with Asher looking for a tie-up. Scarlet reaches up, only
to step back before kicking Asher in the knee. Asher jerks back, circling
around the ring.
Knots: “Scarlet showing no interest in a tie-up.”
Sharper: “Asher showing his vet instincts, probably remembering what Scarlet
did to Datura’s leg.”
Asher steps forward for another tie-up. Scarlet goes for it,
only to try to kick Asher in his knee once more, but Asher leaps up and
forward, hitting a flying elbow, taking Scarlet off her feet. She hits
the mat, before bouncing back up. Asher hits a dropkick, sending her into the
ropes. Asher takes her down with a half-nelson bulldog. He goes for the cover.
1
Scarlet kicks out. Asher rolls over, getting to his feet, as does
Scarlet. Asher charges, only for Scarlet to hit a dropkick to the knee. Asher
flips over onto his back and Scarlet hits a leg drop. She gets to her feet,
runs into and bounces off the ropes, before diving and connecting with a
running baseball slide to the side of the head. Asher rolls away, to the rope.
He gets to one knee as Scarlet charges. Asher hits an elbow, causing her to
stagger back. Asher grabs Scarlet, but she fires away with a European uppercut.
Asher staggers back, before Scarlet runs and grabs Asher taking him down with a
tornado DDT. She hooks the leg.
1
Asher kicks out.
Sharper: “Both competitors getting a one count in each of their attempts.”
Asher rolls away, getting to his feet, only for Scarlet to charge, and catch
him with a falling inverted DDT. Asher rolls over and
gets to one knee. Scarlet clubs him in the back of the head a few times, before
locking in the Scarlet Fever. The ref immediately goes to check on Asher.
Knots: “Scarlet showing off her technical skill. She’s been taking the fight to
Asher, and now she has him in a submission.”
Asher quickly reaches over, grabbing the ropes. The ref begins his count.
Ref: “1…2…3…4…”
And Scarlet breaks the hold, getting to her feet, before driving her foot into
the middle of Asher’s back. She does this over and over, until he manages to
roll away and out of the ring.
Sharper: “Scarlet almost hitting that five count which would have disqualified
her.”
Knots: “She kept up the attack, going after Asher’s back, which has seen
injuries in the past.”
Asher gets to his feet, only for Scarlet to hit another baseball slide, causing
Asher to land back first on an unprotected part of the floor. Scarlet rolls out
and clubs a rising Asher, before whipping him into the ring post, spine first.
Asher hits hard and drops to one knee.
Sharper: “Scarlet targeting the back.”
Knots: “She could try to injure him like she did Datura, as we mentioned
earlier. She even dared Asher to defend the SCW Adrenaline Championship against
her.”
Sharper: “Seems as if he is showing a little rust, so he’s probably glad he
didn’t agree to it, if he knew about it in the first place.”
Scarlet charges, driving her hip into the right side of Asher’s head, as his
left side hits and bounces off the ring post before he falls to the floor. Scarlet rolls into the ring, before rolling back out.
Sharper: “Scarlet breaking the ref’s count which was at 7.”
Scarlet stomps on Asher’s back once again, before kicking him in the head.
Asher rolls away, getting to one knee. Scarlet charges, and Asher gets up,
firing away with a back elbow, staggering Scarlet. He hits a European uppercut
of his own, before rolling her into the ring. Asher slides in as she gets to
her feet. Asher kicks her in to the abdomen, hooking Scarlet, before lifting
her up, going for a powerbomb, but she reverses into
a face buster. Scarlet hooks the leg.
Knots: “Gotta give her credit! Powerbomb into a face buster.
Great reversal on the part of Scarlet Grey.”
1
2
Asher kicks out. He rolls over, getting to one knee only for Scarlet to connect
with a running big boot. Asher hits the mat again, and she goes for another
cover.
1
2
3…NO! Asher kicks out. Scarlet gets up and stomps Asher in the head once again,
before grabbing him and locking in a headscissors
crucifix choke.
Sharper: “Scarlet with the Fifty Shades of Grey, and
Asher is in trouble.”
The ref checks on Asher, who refuses to submit. Scarlet pulls back even more,
and Asher still refuses. Asher is shown slowly pushing up on his legs, before
pushing up, pressing Scarlet’s shoulders to the ground as the ref counts.
1
2
Scarlet kicks out, breaking the hold.
Knots: “That was smart on Asher’s part. He was in trouble, as you said, but he
turned the submission into a pin, to break the hold.”
Scarlet rolls over and gets to her feet. She charges, only for Asher to hit
another European uppercut. She staggers back, as he shakes the cobwebs. He
grabs her before hitting a belly to belly suplex.
Both hit the mat, and Asher uses the ropes to get his feet.
Sharper: “Asher seems to have been through a hell of a fight. Using the ropes.”
Knots: “No telling what damage Scarlet has done, as she has constantly attacked
his head and back.”
Scarlet gets to one knee, only for Asher to charge and connect with a running
knee.
Sharper: “Asher connecting with the Dust to Dust.”
Asher rolls over as the crowd begins to cheer, rallying behind him. He uses the
ropes to get to his feet once again. Scarlet is shown using the ropes as well.
She turns and Asher runs, connecting with a spear. Scarlet rolls over, holding
her ribs, before she is shown getting to one knee, only for Asher to hit Dust
to Dust a second time. Asher grabs Scarlet up from the mat, hooking her before
planting her with Ashes to Ashes. Asher hooks the leg.
Knots: “A second running knee, then the Ashes to Ashes. Is that enough to put
Scarlet down?”

2
3!!!
The ref calls for the bell. The crowd explodes, as “Rope” hits the loud
speakers. Asher rolls away, and gets to his feet, as the ref hands him the
Adrenaline Championship, and raises his hand in victory.
Sharper: “Asher Hayes going through a hell of a fight, and despite it looking
dim for him, he managed to turn things around, pulling off the win here
tonight.”
Asher is shown walking up to the camera, glaring into it as he speaks.
Asher: “You’re ready? I’m ready, too! No matter the fight, Regan…you can’t
count me out! Make sure you’re one hundred percent. No excuses.”
Asher then steps away, climbs the top rope, lifting his fist and the title in
the air, as the crowd cheers him some more.
Knots: “Asher with a message of his own.”
Asher is shown celebrating, as Scarlet is slowly stirring, before cameras cut
to Regan Helms, watching from a backstage monitor. Regan nods before we cut
away again.
Backstage, we see Rachel Tatum
Lee standing with Jessica Winters.
Jessica: “A lot of people on
edge in SCW these days. Every match seems to have a new gravitas to it and we
just saw Regan Street focused on Asher Hayes. You, Rachel, meanwhile are
focused on earning a shot against Bree Lancaster, against the US Champion. You
challenged Jake Starr, her last contender, to a one on one match. Both of you
used to be two of the best. Both of you trying to get to that
point. This match this Sunday, you have to be looking at it as a title
match.”
Rachel: “Damn right. See, it’s
been a bit of a learnin’ curve and not necessarily
one I’m okay with. To go from Rise ta Greatness where Britt
and I beat the ever-lovin’ hell out of each other to havin’ to wait to see what was next. Yeah, I had
rust. Yeah, that was different. I was hittin’ a gear
because I was findin’ somethin’
in me to fight for Britt. Now…I fight for me. I fight to get the opportunities
I didn’t get the first time because of me.”
Rachel pauses.
Rachel: “But I also know how
good I am. I know how good Jake was. And I hear he had some issues. Issues that
had us staring across from one anotha at Takin’ Hold
of the Flame. And at the end, he went up and over before I did. And Jake, I
know ya want a win. Ya want
ta get back on that horse. Maybe got another shot. Too bad. I may not be throwin’
weapons around. I may not be havin’ the wild brawls
of the past. I may have had ta change a few things,
but one thing that won’t…that I’ll win.”
Rachel stops and turns. Jake
Starr claps slowly and walks into view.
Jake: “Good speech, Rachel. We
don’t need to go down the history. We’ve seen it all. Caused
all of the carnage. Had everyone against us.
That’s all gone. We’re now just two people looking for their second chances. Getting used to new realities.”
Rachel: “Don’t mean I gotta like it.”
Jake: “Didn’t say you did.
Just that you’re not the only one fighting for something. You want your shot at
Bree or the US Champion if Tommy…and trust me, I’m hoping he wins….but I’m
probably fighting for something else.”
Rachel: “And what’s that? Last
I checked, y’all was happy
to be here. Not exactly a great motivation.”
Jake: “Isn’t it…when frankly,
I may not have been here at all if things went differently.”
Jake then turns and walks off as
Rachel watches him leave as the scene slowly fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns as the
Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as “The Old Me” plays in the background.
A still of Glory Braddock vs. James Evans then comes up on the screen.
Sharper: “Welcome back to
Breakdown and it is official. Sasha has signed the match!”
Knots: “Glory Braddock and
James Evans meeting tonight in our main event. Both claiming
they could beat the other. Last week proved it. Someone is going to get
shut up tonight!”
The still remains on the
screen for a few moments longer.
Casterillo vs. Cassidy Carter
Casterillo wins via pinfall;
I will add the match when submitted by the match writer.
Breakdown cuts backstage as
Jessica Winters is standing by with Sasha.
Jessica: “Thank you Adam and
Sasha, we wanted to get some more information about what to expect not during
Under Attack, but after. You have announced an empty arena match between Xander Valentine and Selena Frost, unsanctioned, so
officially it won’t happen, but still…”
Sasha: “It’s exactly as it
sounds. SCW will host Under Attack this Sunday. We’ll find out whether
championships will be retained, who will win the Chamber match, and much more.
But then fans will leave. Competitors will leave. Even ring crew will start to
take apart what they safely can as we still will need to vacate the premises by
noon the next day. And whenever all personnel, fans and
competitors leave. Xander Valentine will be
then allowed to arrive into the building. Selena, of course, will not be
leaving and Aaron Demitra will be the official of
record.”
Jessica: “So an SCW official
will count the fall, whatever it may be.”
Sasha: “Being paid extra to do
just that. He insisted to ensure their safety. But frankly, I cannot guarantee
their safety. That is why this is unsanctioned. They can settle their issue. No
fans at risk. No competitors. Selena, Xander,
and Aaron Demitra, with a handful of camera operators.
That will be it.”
Jessica: “That said, what if
some people want to stay around-“
Sasha: “Well this is the
catch. Everyone involved is saying hold harmless agreements. If you haven’t
signed one, you are not allowed into the building. But this is where there is a
concern. At this moment, Xander Valentine has been
radio silent. And this is another issue – will Xander
even show up?”
Jessica: “What if he doesn’t?”
Sasha: “I’ll breathe a sigh of
relief.”
Jessica: “Fair…and the next
question – fans undeniably are going to want to watch this.”
Sasha: “I won’t even guarantee
we’ll show it. I know Selena wants it shown. But depending on what happens, the
following Breakdown is one option. Another may be a special broadcast on
Twitch, just as the God of Wrestling was shown. That will depend on what
happens. I just pray that there are no serious injuries. This is by far the
most personal situation I’ve had to deal with and while I can stand here and
protect SCW, which is my job…I have a bad feeling
about all of this.”
Jessica: “I know Selena wants
this, Sasha. And you’re doing the right thing. You’re allowing this to be
settled in the ring. But I also agree…It’s hard not to feel uneasy about this
all.”
Sasha: “Well, we’ll see…”
Jessica: “Thank you for your
time and for your clarification. Adam?”
We cut to a wide shot of the
inside of the arena.
Sharper: “Looks like Sasha is
taking the cautious approach.”
Knots: “With Xander, do you blame her?”
Sharper: “I don’t. But I just
hope that we’re not talking about this Sunday for what may happen after the
show. Breakdown will be back after this.”
The camera pans around the
arena as “The Old Me” plays in the background and the scene fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
Backstage, we see a shot of a staple
gun before showing a knife. They go back and forth before the camera pans out
to show Kim Williams holding both. The SCW World Tag Team Championship is in
front of her on a shelf. Marie then walks over.
Kim: “Marie…if Christy
Matthews attacks us…stabby or staple?”
Kim smiles.
Marie: “Uh…neither?!”
Kim: “Pfft.
No fun. But you know we need to deal with that. We never can get rid of
Infamous….Unless….”
Marie: “No. We’re not stabbing
or stapling Ravyn.”
Kim pouts.
Kim: “So how am I supposed to
get this Ravyn off our back?!”
Marie: “We need to focus on
retaining the titles. Against Ryan and Autumn and they
have zero effs to give.”
Kim: “So like me….I mean, I
want to stab and staple things. So uh…”
Marie: “If Christy comes out,
we’ll deal with it. We’ve been dealing with their actions for a while and we’re
now holding gold!”
Kim: “But what if we hold gold
and-“
Marie: “No! No stabby, stabby…No groping. No
staple!”
Kim: “What about pointy shoes?
Can I have pointy shoes?”
Marie: “Fine…you can have
pointy shoes.”
Kim: “Excellent…I’m going to
kick Christy in the head with pointy shoes if she comes out to help Ryan and Autumn win.”
Marie: “I’ll take it.”
Marie shrugs as we then cut to
the ring.
The lights around the arena
begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show
The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the
curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms
outstretched. Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he
gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope. Gavin pulls
himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side
of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, as he stretches his arms out.
At this point, we see in the ring a table with a cloth over it.
Sharper: “Gavin Taylor joining
us here and he’s going to give us a shot. The All-Star.”
Knots: “Making sure everyone
knows he’s here. He’s playing it up, but what the hell does he have in the
ring?”
Sharper: “Obviously something
under a cloth.”
Knots: “Really?! No, Sharper.
I never figured that. What the hell is under there?”
Gavin then turns and walks over to the corner, grabbing a microphone waiting
for him on the apron. He turns back and moves to the middle of the ring. He
looks at the table with a cloth and quickly bends over and looks underneath it.
He then smiles as he puts it down. He then stands up and looks out at the crowd
as they boo. His music fades out and Gavin holds his hand up.
Gavin: “Don’t worry everyone.
I have something special for all of you. I’ve been spending hours and hours
with my crack staff trying to figure out how to make everything right before
Under Attack this Sunday and first off, you’re welcome. You’re in the presence
of greatness!”
Gavin smirks as he poses. The
crowd boos some. Gavin looks around.
Gavin: “I know, I know. Some
of you have never been in the position of seeing this greatness up close but
trust me, it’s no mirage!”
Gavin walks to the table.
Gavin: “Now some of you are thinking,
Gavin, why do you have a table covered by a sheet in the ring and that’s a very
observant question! As I said, the All Star and all of the people who work with
me worked AROUND THE CLOCK to make sure we could make a peace offering ahead of
this Sunday, where there’s been just a complete misunderstanding. I mean, I
thought Kandis would appreciate that I just wanted to
make an impact, give her someone she recognized. Make her time here in SCW a
little less random. I mean I’m a friendly face! And so I played to a special
moment we had.”
Gavin shakes his head.
Gavin: “It was totally
innocent. I tried to get her to realize I learned from the past. This time, cold water. But apparently, I could’ve worked on
the delivery. I didn’t realize she had PTSD or something like that. I get it.
And so, I had my team develop the perfect collection of gifts as a peace
offering. And this is even AFTER she ruined another return home to Canada by
getting involved! THAT’s how big of a guy I am! Not as big as her ass, but
still big! Now!”
The crowd boos as Gavin turns
and grabs the cloth with one hand.
Gavin: “So without further
ado, the greatest collection of forgiveness gifts EVER!”
Gavin pulls the cloth off. On
the table is a glass of water, a plastic cover and a couple of folded cloths.
The crowd boos.
Knots: “Uh…Gavin…that’s a
glass of water.”
Gavin turns and looks at it.
Gavin: “To prove I am out of
the hot water game, I give you a glass of lukewarm water. Look!”
Gavin places his fingers into
the glass, swirls it around. He then flicks it at himself.
Gavin: “Oh so moderately
refreshing!”
Gavin then looks around.
Gavin: “And wait…to avoid it
spilling on you, whether by me for impact or by you in carelessness, I got
this!”
Gavin turns and grabs the
plastic piece, turning it over, revealing it to be a sippy cup lid. He places
it on the glass. He steps back proudly.
Gavin: “No more spills!”
Gavin looks around as the
crowd boos.
Knots: “How corny…”
Sharper: “Well Gavin seems
proud of himself.”
Gavin: “Now, I know Kandis, you’re probably backstage still skeptical. It’s one
of your best traits! But I have a back up plan. What
if you still spill? What if you still can handle your liquids! Well don’t
worry!”
Gavin then grabs one of the
folded cloths and holds it up, revealing a towel that says “All-Star Ass”.
Gavin smiles as the crowd boos.
Gavin: “You can now, with your
personalized All-Star Ass towel, commemorate our history together and make sure
you never get wet again….er….uh…wait…”
The crowd roars.
Gavin: “But you can quench
your thirst safely. Tomorrow when you celebrate Thirty Thursday as you are
wanton to do, you can do so safely. And if you spill, need to clean it up. What
if you have another liquid related accident…Never fear!”
Gavin grabs the other folded
up cloth, revealing a second towel.
Gavin: “Two for the price of
one!”
The crowd boos as Gavin smiles
widely.
Gavin: “Oh Gavin, this is a
new high for greatness. And Kandis, it’s all to
commemorate this that way, when I beat you this Sunday, it can be a respectful affair as I take off into the stratosphere and
you….uh…hang out with Tommy? Maybe he’ll be champ? Even if he is a bit
of a violent man-“
The crowd cheers as we see Kandis walking out from the back. She has a microphone in
her hand. She heads down to the ring as Gavin turns and smiles.
Gavin: “And you’re even coming
out here to accept my gift. See Kandis…you’ve grown
as a person here.”
Kandis walks down to the ring, looking
quite unimpressed as she reaches the ring. She walks up the steel steps and
then steps into the ring. Gavin smiles as he grabs the towels and the glass of
water. He extends them to her. Kandis looks at them
and then smacks the glass out of his hand and grabs the towel and throws it out
into the crowd. Gavin backs up.
Kandis: “Really, Gavin…this is what
you’re doing. Practically slapping me in the face with this joke! You could
have permanently injured me a year ago and then you redo it for a laugh and now
this. As for the towels, they suit you, as you damn sure at the All Star Ass!”
The crowd roars as Gavin looks
around, shocked. The crowd starts to chant “All Star Ass! All
Star Ass!” Kandis smirks.
Kandis: “All that’s going to happen
is that I’m going to introduce you to SCW by kicking your ass. The water, the
insults, the running, the gauntlet attack at Apocalypse-“
Gavin: “Whoa, whoa, whoa. I
was trying to put that all behind us. But if you want to talk about slaps to
the face, well-“
Gavin then smacks Kandis turns to a knee, holding her jaw as the crowd ohs and boos.
Gavin: “Now you have something
to upset about…that and me kicking your ass this Sunday!”
Kandis then gets up and lunges for
Gavin. Gavin backs up and falls over. He scrambles out of the ring and to the
floor. Kandis lunges while on the mat and reaches for
him as Gavin backs away. He then throws the microphone at her for good measure
before jogging away. Kandis gets up and looks at
Gavin.
Kandis: “You know what Gavin…I will
make sure that you pay for this and everything else this Sunday. You’re not
running anywhere!”
Gavin: “Backs away and walks
around the ring.
Gavin: “Hey! I think she’s
thirsty for me!”
Sharper: “Gavin with a slap. Another disrespectful act!”
Knots: “The All-Star
Antagonist!”
Sharper: “But Kandis is ready to get her shot, one on one, this Sunday!”
Gavin laughs as he walks
around the ring. Kandis watches him annoyed. Gavin backs up to the back before suddenly glancing behind him and
turning and jumping off the rampway to the floor.
He taps his head as he looks around and heads around the stage before we cut
away.
“The Old Me” by Memphis May
Fire plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A still of Selena
Frost vs. Max Kane then comes up.
Sharper: “Selena Frost will
face Xander Valentine this Sunday in an empty arena
match after Under Attack goes off the air. To prepare, she faces SCW’s resident
daredevil, Max Kane, here on Breakdown!”
The scene fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
Gavin Taylor is seen walking
backstage. He looks around before he suddenly darts back.
Gavin: “It was a
misunderstanding!”
Gavin runs off as Tommy
Valentine walks over, looking at him.
Tommy: “Can’t wait to see her
kick your ass!”
Tommy looks around as Spirit
Dansby is seen next to Tommy. Tommy turns back and looks at her.
Tommy: “Sorry about that. But
then again, given who you spend time with, I expect
you to not care.”
Spirit: “You’re right, but
I’ve been assigned to get your thoughts on facing Bree this Sunday.”
Tommy: “Aren’t you going to
just give me Bree’s words? Tell me how I shouldn’t be here? Then again, her
actions seemed to suggest that all the same. Sending Scott
Burnside out to help me win when I didn’t need it.”
Spirit: “Derek Adonis did seem
to be building some momentum and had you on the ropes.”
Tommy: “And Bree should know
that sometimes people get lucky shots. But the fact that she needed Scott, and
not just that, wanted to face me, I’m sure she has some self-righteous reason
for it, but for me, it pissed me off. I don’t need her handouts. But…come Under
Attack, she’s going to look back at last week as the night she ensured she’d be
losing the US Title. Come this Sunday, I’m adding some more gold to my hall of
fame resume. And unlike last time she lost the title, she can legitimately
claim its her fault. Just
won’t be by design.”
Tommy turns and walks off.
Spirit watches him leave as we cut to the ring.
Selena Frost vs. Max Kane
BELIEVE IT!
The SCW Universe are on their feet as “The Truth About Our Time” by Allen/Lande as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along
the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen,
Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe.
Phillips: “The following
contest is scheduled for onefall, has a thirty minute
time limit and is no holds barred!...”
Sharper: “Wait a minute.
That’s new!”
Phillips: “…First, from Nome,
Alaska, she is the Winter’s Soldier, Selena Frost!”
Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as
she lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm
upward, her back arm lifted behind her to the sky. With a lift of her
right foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like
ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring! Reaching the ring,
Selena slides under the ropes to enter it. She gets up and lifts her hand
up to give a twirl as the lights form to make a massive snowflake under her.
Stopping her spin and lowering her hand back down, towards the audience, once
again palm upright, a smirk graces her lips, her other arm lifting to the sky
once more. With a slam of her foot, Selena caused the snowflake at her
feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice
streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out blue sparkles of
light as the lights return to normal. She looks around as the crowd roars.
Sharper: “Now that this is no
holds barred, something makes a bit more sense. This is a showcase. This is
Selena Frost trying to send a message to Xander
Valentine!”
Knots: “Yeah, but again Max
Kane. The guy’s nuts. This could be bad for Selena!
And Xander, I’m sure, is watching!”
Sharper: “To be fair, we don’t
even know if Xander has agreed! The match is
effectively allowed to occur, provided Selena AND Xander
agree to unsanction it”
The arena is silent when all
of a sudden Max's Kane voice is heard through the PA system.
KANE!
MAX!
KANE!
"Suck My Kiss" then hits the PA system; the lights flashing in sync
with the bass. After a few seconds, Max Kane uncharacteristically gallops
from the curtains onto the ramp. from underneath the
ramp into the air. Max stares at the camera before turning the the crowd. Max yells at the crowd as
he immediately extends his arms out to the crowd. The young man is
sporting a black, silver and gold "Rock N' Roll Unicorn"
vest with big spikes on the shoulders, a "Scream Machine"
t-shirt underneath and a pair of shades on his face. Max continues yelling
towards the camera.
Phillips: “Her opponent, from
San Francisco, California, he is the Rock’n’Roll Unicorn, Mad Max Kane!”
Max walks down to the ring, looking around the crowd. Max once again eyes the
camera and smirks as he looks at the ring. He faces the crowd,
looking around at everyone while walking past the camera before sliding
into the ring. Max stands u and throws his vest onto the mat. He yells to
the crowd and motions for them to make some noise. He points to every
section of the arena before extending his arms. He then claps his hands,
yelling "KANE. MAX. KANE." The crowd
responds as he looks on before standing close to the ropes, where the camera is
on him.
Max: “No DQ? This is gonna be fun!”
Max smiles a bit before it fades, continuing to stand
by the ropes close to ringside. The referee talks to him but Max waves him off.
Max grips the top turnbuckle, steeling himself for the match ahead.
Sharper: “Max Kane seems to be
relishing this opportunity.”
Knots: “He wins here and he’s
back in the minds of a lot of people. Rachel Tatum Lee has been saying some
things about him, but he’s got a chance to shut a lot of people up here. That
makes someone dangerous!”
Max Kane and Selena Frost look
at one another. The crowd cheers as the bell sounds. Selena runs at Kane. Kane
goes for a clothesline. Selena ducks under and gets up. Kane gets up and Selena
hits a dropkick. Kane hits the mat. He rolls over and gets up and Selena runs
at him and jumps up and hits a crossbody, sending
Kane back to the ropes and both go up and over the top rope to the floor. The
crowd roars.
Sharper: “Frost all over
Kane!”
Knots: “Crossbody
to the floor! Xander better be ready. Looks like
Selena wants to fight this Sunday!”
Selena rolls through. He starts
to get up and Kane rolls over. He starts to get up and Selena runs over and
nails him with a forearm and then kicks him in the thigh. Kane falls to a knee
and Selena hits a shoot kick to the chest. Kane falls back. He rolls over and
Selena turns and grabs the ring skirt and pulls it up before pulling out a
trash can. She looks it and throws it up the rampway.
She then grabs a broom. She turns and walks over and slams it in the back of
Kane. It snaps over his back and Kane falls to the mat. Selena then looks
around before turning back to the ring. She looks underneath and grabs a steel
chair. She pulls it up and Kane pulls himself up and Selena turns back and goes
to lift it up, but Kane hits a back elbow to the jaw of Selena. Selena falls to
the mats. The crowd gives a mixed reaction.
Sharper: “Kane fighting back
as Selena was thinking about using a chair there.”
Knots: “Not just thinking. She
was going to swing!”
Sharper: “A departure from her
usual approach.”
Selena stirs and Kane turns
and grabs her and turns and throws her hard into the steel steps. Selena falls
back, holding her shoulder as the steps barely budge. Kane looks around and
smirks before turning and going over to the garbage can Selena threw away and
grabs it. He turns back as Selena stirs and Kane slams it into her back. He
then places it next to her. Kane turns and climbs up onto the apron and looks
around before turning climbing to the top rope. The crowd roars. He spins
around and looks at Selena on the middle turnbuckle. He then dives off and goes
for a flip dive, but Selena moves out of the way and Kane crushes the garbage
can underneath him as he rolls over, holding his back in pain. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Kane missed and that
garbage can and the mats all that broke his fall!”
Knots: “The guy is nuts!”
Selena gets up and turns and
grabs the steel chair. Kane starts to roll over and get up and Selena slams the
chair into his back. Kane falls to the mats. Selena lifts it up and slams it
onto his back again. Selena turns and throws it into the ring. Selena looks
around as the crowd roars. He glances at the crowd, almost expecting Xander before grabbing Kane and kicking him in the ribs.
Kane rolls over. Selena turns and climbs up to the apron. Kane starts to pull
himself up and staggers up and Selena springboards to the middle rope and dives
back with an asai moonsault.
The crowd roars as Kane goes down and Selena lands on her feet and rolls
through.
Sharper: “Selena throwing in
some agility, just for good measure! Moonsault takes
down Kane!”
Knots: “Yeah, but Xander could catch her! She needs to be careful about
that!”
Sharper: “But before Rise to
Greatness, she showed. She’ll do anything to win. Take any chance. A nice nod to that!”
Kane rolls over as Selena
starts to get up. She stomp him in the chest and then again. She grabs him and
drags him up and runs him into the ring apron. Kane falls back. Selena then
reaches underneath and grabs a table. She pulls it up and lifts it up as the
crowd roars. She then turns and places it against the ring, but Kane gets up
and grabs the table. Selena grabs him and Kane uses the table and drives it
into the face of Selena. She falls back. Kane then places the table against the
apron. Kane turns back and walks over grabs Selena and pulls her up before
turning and throwing her face first into the table. Selena falls over. Kane
lifts the table up and into the ring. Selena slowly gets up and turns and grabs
Kane and forearms her and then again before Kane headbutts
her. Selena hits the mats. The crowd ohs.
Kane staggers.
Sharper: “That headbutts and Selena dropped!”
Knots: “The impact from the headbutt from Kane and then the floor!”
Kane pulls her up and drags
her up and rolls her into the ring. Kane then reaches under the ring and grabs a
second chair and slides it in. He then grabs another chair and slides it in. He
slides in. He then kicks one chair toward the middle of the ring and then takes
the second one and places it down before Selena slowly gets up and Kane quickly
hoists her up and onto his shoulders and throws her back with a Samoan drop
onto the chairs. The crowd ohs.
Selena grimaces in pain.
Sharper: “Into the chairs! No
give! Kane throwing her down!”
Knots: “She may not be in one
piece going into Under Attack!”
Kane goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Selena kicks out. The crowd
roars. Kane rolls off. He nods and Selena rolls over. Kane grabs her and runs
her into the corner. Kane turns and runs after her and nails her with a running
clothesline. Selena falls to the mat. Kane turns around and looks around before
grabbing one steel chair and unfolding it. He places it a few feet away from
the corner. He grabs the second one and unfolds it too. He then grabs Selena
and pulls her up and scoops her up and slams her onto the steel chair seats.
Selena winces as the crowd ohs. She remains on them,
leaning on them. Kane then turns and starts to climb up to the top rope. He
looks out at the crowd and smirks before diving back and going for a no-look
dive. Selena pulls herself up and dives to the corner. Kane goes through the
chairs as the crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Oh my God!”
Knots: “What the hell is wrong
with him?!”
Sharper: “A no-look dive.
Selena moved out of the way!”
Selena turns and runs into the
ropes as Kane rolls over and Selena hits a lionsault
onto Kane. She goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Kane shoots his shoulder up.
The crowd roars. Selena looks up. She then gets up and grabs Kane. She hooks
him up and hits a snap suplex. Kane rolls over in
pain. Selena turns and pulls the table up and unfolds the legs. She puts it on
its side and then flips it onto its legs, positioned toward the corner. The
crowd roars.
Sharper: “Table set up and
Selena may be looking to end this!”
Knots: “I hate to ask this question,
but Selena’s showing she can brawl, but there’s a lot of plunder here. How much
of it is going to be around at Under Attack? It’s after the show is over?”
Sharper: “If people leave it
under the ring. Selena has it arranged…I don’t know…”
Kane stirs as Selena grabs him
and drags him up. She drags him to the table, but Kane elbows her in the ribs
and then again before grabbing her and driving her face first into the top
turnbuckle. Selena staggers back and Kane pushes her onto the table. Kane turns
and smiles and exits to the apron. He starts to climb up to the top rope.
Selena rolls off and nails him in the ribs. She nails him in the jaw then with
a pump kick. Kane leans on a knee on the top turnbuckle before Selena climbs up
to the middle turnbuckle. The crowd roars. Kane steps up and Selena nails him
again before climbing up to the top rope and hitting a top rope hurricanrana, driving Max Kane through the table. The crowd
erupts in cheers. Both are down.
Sharper: “Selena off the top,
taking Kane over and driving him through the table!”
Knots: “And Kane somehow is
still moving!”
Sharper: “So is Selena!”
Selena rolls over as Kane
rolls over. He winces and tries to push himself up but falls over. Selena gets
up and staggers forward as Kane pulls himself up and Selena lunges and nails
him with the Glass Shard. Kane falls to the mat. Selena drops down and rolls
through for the pin.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd cheers. Selena rolls
off.
Phillips: “Here is your
winner, via pinfall, Selena Frost!”
Selena starts to get up as the
crowd cheers and her music plays.
Sharper: “Selena Frost with an
emphatic win at the end. The hurricanrana
through the table and then the Glass Shard.”
Knots: “Kane wouldn’t stop
fighting until he just couldn’t!”
Sharper: “And Xander, I hope he’s watching so he knows that Selena Frost
is ready for whatever he may throw at her this Sunday after Under Attack in the
empty arena match!”
Selena starts to get up and
walks over to the ropes. She glances back at Kane and the carnage and winces a
bit. She walks over to the corner and asks for a microphone. Phillips walks
over and hands her one. Selena takes it and turns around. Her music starts to
fade out.
Selena: “Xander!”
The crowd roars.
Selena: “I hope you were watching.
Because this Sunday, if you want to prove that you actually are better than me,
than Regan, than everyone…I’ve got the arena in which you can do anything. So Xander…sign the hold harmless. Come fight me. I’m not
backing down. I will do WHATEVER I have to and I know all it will take it ONE
kick to take you out. This time…with an empty arena…I’ll make sure all we here
this time is the impact of my foot to your jaw and the end of ANY semblance of
dominance you ever had in this company! BELIEVE IT!”
Selena drops the microphone.
She then walks forward and looks out at the crowd. She then points to them and
nods. The crowd cheers for her some more.
Sharper: “Pointing to the
crowd, doing it for them, doing it for SCW.”
Knots: “But they won’t be
there. Selena won’t be feeding off them. And it will be a very different
situation than Rise to Greatness!”
Sharper: “But Selena is hoping
for the same conclusion. She caught all of the Defying Gravity there. Now,
unsanctioned…officially, it won’t happen, but both Xander
and Selena know what it means!”
Selena then drops down to the
floor, rolling to the floor. She then starts to head to the back as the scene
slowly fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns as we see
Selena Frost walking backstage, almost in a state of calm. She runs her hands
through her hair as she takes a few steps down the hallway before we see
Jessica Winters heading over to her.
Selena: “Jessica…want an interview? I said everything that I needed to out
there.”
Jessica: “No…Sasha hear from Xander.”
Sasha then comes into the
scene, holding a tablet. She turns and spins it to Selena.
Selena: “What’s this?”
Sasha: “Read it.”
Selena looks at it.
Selena: “My client…it’s from
his lawyer?”
Sasha: “Keep reading.”
Selena scans it for a moment
before stopping and taking a deep breath.
Selena: “This attempt by Ms.
Frost to attack my client, Mr. Valentine, is obvious. While he would like to
attend, it is my legal opinion that Mr. Valentine should not compete without assurances-“
Selena thrusts the tablet back
at Sasha.
Selena: “So he’s running.”
Sasha: “Could be a
smokescreen. Could be legitimate. Right now, we’re
still in arbitration. We’re waiting the results of legal ramifications. The
invitation is there. He will need to sign the agreement, but you should know, we cannot force him to be there. SCW is not covering his
transportation in this case. It’s up to whether he wants that fight or not.”
Selena: “He’s been watching me
and picking fights for months. He’s getting what he wants. So he can either show up and take it…or frankly, he proves me right.
He has no future in SCW as a credible wrestler. And with that in mind…I expect
him there.”
Sasha: “That’s fine. But I’m
just letting you know.”
Selena: “I understand…But
you’re wrong.”
Selena then walks off as Sasha
watches her leave.
Breakdown cuts to the arena.
There’s a loud click as the lights around the building flick off and darkness
consumes the arena, with nothing but a few flashes from cameras in the crowd
lighting the arena. The lights return slowly and dimly in a crimson hue as a
boos spread throughout the arena, then without warning we see black and white
footage spring to life on the screen of Winston Churchill giving one of his
most famous speeches, all the while the chilling sound of air raid sirens and
war can be heard in the background...
"We shall fight on the beaches. We shall fight on the landing grounds. We
shall fight in the fields, and in the streets. We shall fight in the hills. We
shall NEVER surrender!"
The video suddenly burns away to reveal a second hidden image of the devious
ex-president George H. W. Bush giving a speech of his own...
"When we are successful, and we will be, we'll have a real chance at this
new world order..."
“Indestructible” By Disturbed hits over the P.A system causing the crowd to
erupt into a sea of boos as they know who is about to make their presence felt.
The curtains part as Ravyn Taylor walks out onto the
stage with CHBK, Alexander Crowe and Syren. The crowd
boos some more. A few feet behind them is Abigail
Lindsay who saunters out. She looks around. She then looks at Ravyn as Ravyn turns to her.
Abigail nods and motions before motioning away from her and turning around and
heading back to the back. Syren meanwhile heads to
the ring with Alexander Crowe. CHBK is a few steps behind them. Ravyn then takes up the rear.
Sharper: “Abigail Lindsay
coming out with Infamous. She’s apparently returning to the back. Syren and Ravyn the focal point
here, but look who is missing.”
Knots: “Christy Matthews. Some
issues last week. Some disagreement about priorities and now she’s not out here
with Infamous.”
Sharper: “Given that Ravyn made clear that Christy Matthews, if she wants what
she wants, which we assume is the World Tag Team Championship, she needs to
force some issues. And then she promised it.”
Knots: “Looks like Twin Magic
will need to worry about that now! More scheming!”
Sharper: “Ravyn
Taylor meanwhile has to worry about Jordan Majors and Syren, she’s in the Chamber
match!”
Syren reaches the ring and walks up
the steel steps. She then steps through the ropes and into the ring. Crowe is
next, followed by CHBK. CHBK turns to Ravyn as Ravyn mockingly motions to the ropes. CHBK smirks and holds
the ropes open for her as Ravyn enters. She walks
around as Syren goes to the corner and climbs to the
middle turnbuckle, and looks out, the crowd booing her. Ravyn
walks over to the corner and demands a microphone. The referee hands her one. Ravyn turns back to the middle of the ring. The crowd boos
as the music fades out. Ravyn turns around.
Ravyn: “Could you please stop your
vocal representations of your ire towards us? People are home are watching to
see us, not you.”
The crowd boos loudly as Ravyn looks around.
Ravyn: “I come with a simple
message.”
Ravyn smirks.
Ravyn: “Ms. Majors, you made a
challenge to me last week. A challenge for a match at Under
Attack. Admirable I must say. I always am intrigued by those who come
after me. In this case, your desire for petty revenge is what it is…petty. But,
your challenge was done in a fit of emotion. You were stunned there would be
repercussions for your actions, attacking my useful tool.”
Ravyn smiles.
Ravyn: “So Jordan…while my wife
reminds the world why this Sunday she will be regaining the World Championship
and setting a new record for excellence in professional wrestling, think long
and think hard…this is your opportunity to realize the foolishness of your
challenge. You can back out and no one will say anymore. Because remember the
last time I elected to make an example out of you. Next time, I will dare act
more permanently if I must. Quoth the Ravyn, Nevermore!”
The crowd boos as Ravyn brings the microphone down. She smirks as the boos continue. Ravyn then
hands the microphone to Syren. Syren
takes it and looks around as the boos only grow. She
listens to them for a few moments before bringing the microphone to her mouth.
Syren: “Good thing that the World
Championship is not determined by a popular vote.”
The crowd boos some more.
Syren: “See, that’s the thing. In
this ring, what matters are wins and losses and the fact is and you all need to
understand it, while you pay your tickets to watch us, it doesn’t help me win.
It doesn’t even help me get the opportunities. I played that game for years.
Now I see people like Glory Braddock playing it, claiming the high road when
you know deep down she respects what I do. James Evans…his only World Title
reign came by being the worst person that he was. Sienna Swann…she’s not smart
enough to pull of anything I have.”
Syren smirks.
Syren: “But then there are the
goody-two-shoes, Owen and Alistaire. Alistaire got lucky one night and beat me for the title.
He’s been vindicated! He’s been proven right. Competition is the best way and
overcomes everything. What a load of crap!”
Syren shakes her head.
Syren: “Owen, you’re part of this
two. Proudly holding the title, holding the moral highground. Thinking your self-righteousness makes
you better. No…it just shows that you are naïve. Oh no…I’ve said the world that
Alistaire hates. The one that he claims he’s proven
he’s not. I mean he had a hell of a run, a story of the ages, winning the
Taking Hold of the Flame, then the main event at Rise to Greatness before his
so-called progressive reign ended with Owen Cruze
outwrestling him. They may have respect, but let’s make one thing clear…he
knows, in the back of his mind, that no matter how good he is, he could slip.
More importantly, he believes that hard work and determination will win all.”
Syren shakes her head.
Syren: “Please. If that’s the case,
I would’ve gotten my rematch at Apocalypse. Owen would’ve have gotten the shot.
But wait…I conned my way here. If it’s about effort, if anyone believes I don’t
give over one hundred percent in that ring, they’re lying to their faces. But Alistaire, Owen, see your little claim that competition
does all…I believed the same. I bought into it. And well, here we are. Where I
know I’m not going to my rightfully earned shots. I have earned a layer of
infamy. You want someone who will make sure they competing and try to win.
That’s me. You want someone who the people want to see…that’s me.”
The crowd boos. Syren looks around.
Syren: “You want a leader. A top talent. Someone who even has royalty
in this sport supporting her…that’s me. And Alistaire,
Owen…too bad because after this Sunday, you’ll quickly realize how sudden that
drop to the bottom is. You hit the highest of highs and just like that chair I
hit all of you with last week, you’ll feel it that quick as you fall to the
lowest of lows.”
Syren smirks. The crowd boos some
more as she lets that sink in.
Syren: “So let’s make this clear –
James Evans won’t be suddenly returning to the top. Sienna Swann had her
moment. It’s done. Glory Braddock will be a never was with the SCW World
Championship. Alistaire and Owen will learn a hard
lesson for how harsh this sport really is. And the greatest wrestler in SCW
history will win her record setting eighth World Championship. And if I have
to, I’ll remind everyone of that tonight so they get used to it by Sunday.”
Syren looks at the camera.
Syren: “And all of you have one
recourse…to be TOTALLY Jealous. Any
questions?”
Syren brings the microphone down.
“Groupie” then starts to play. The crowd boos some more as Syren
looks around.
Sharper: “Syren
confident, but remember, no matter the plan, it’s in the Chamber.”
Knots: “It’s a different ball
game. Everyone has to effectively, to some degree, be on their own.”
Sharper: “But Syren clearly also ignoring her own struggles. She needed a
plan to get through Taking Hold of the Flame. The plans failed at Rise to
Greatness. Apocalypse, she lost to Aaron Blackbourne.
She needs to win. She knows it, but she’s trying to hide that maybe, just
maybe, that desire for competition to prove who is the best
in that ring is too much for her.”
Knots: “We can hope, right?”
Sharper: “And what about Ravyn’s comments to Jordan Majors? No response yet. She is
here.”
Knots: “I hope she’s not
rethinking it!”
Syren looks around as she turns to
CHBK. CHBK talks to her a bit before the four stand in the ring, raising their
arms up. The crowd boos some more as they continue to stand in the ring, enjoying
the negative reaction.
Breakdown cuts to the back
areas of the building to show a limousine pulling up to the building. The crowd
can be heard making noise as the limousine comes to a stop.
Knots: “Do I even need three
guesses on who is in there?”
Sharper: “We assume that’s
going to be the Beauty Factory, arriving quite late here tonight.”
Knots: “The chauffeur’s not
even getting out. What the hell?”
Sharper: “I don’t know. But hopefully
we can hear from Sienna Swann or Bree Lancaster soon, if that is them, here
tonight!”
The scene fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
DURING THE COMMERCIAL BREAK:
We see a still of Ravyn Taylor,
CHBK, Alexander Crowe and Syren walking down the
hallway.
Sharper: “Welcome back to
Breakdown. Infamous returning to their locker room during the commercial break
and Jordan Majors quickly made a statement!”
The film continues as Infamous takes a few more steps
before we see Jordan Majors running up to Ravyn Taylor.
Ravyn looks up and before she can even react, Jordan
nails her with a forearm shot. Ravyn drops to the
floor. The crowd roars. Syren steps up and nails her
with a shot and then another. Crowe checks on Ravyn
as CHBK stops Syren. Jordan rolls back and moves to
her knees. She gets up, a bit gingerly and steps forward as officials come into
the view.
Syren: “You want us to end your career now?! Really,
Jordan?!”
CHBK: “Syren…easy…”
Jordan is held back as officials keep her back. Ravyn starts to get up and we see her smirking, almost
surprised by Jordan.
Knots: “Jordan just walked
right up to Ravyn and took a shot!”
Sharper: “That’s one way to
respond! And Syren was fired up. Syren
was ready to fight. Again, Ravyn and Syren so connected in so much here. In
their plotting.”
The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.
Aaron Blackbourne
vs. Damian Angel
The opening lines of The Rasmus' "Lucifer's Angel" begin to play over the
crowd suddenly, without the introduction of the song.
Behind those eyes lies the truth and grief
Behind those beautiful smiles I've seen tragedy
The flawless skin hides the secrets within
Silent forces that secretly ignite your sins
Damian Angel steps out onto the top of the ramp ,
inciting boos from the crowd. He looks at the crowd. The lights in the arena
all turn off, leaving the sight of pitch black. As the chorus strikes up, a red
spotlight begins to follow Angel to the ring...
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall
and has a twenty minute time limit. First, from Hell, Michigan, he is the Hellbound Messiah, Damian Angel!”
He reaches the end of the rampway and Angel has
rolled toward the centre of the ring, pulling himself
to one knee. Damian runs his hand over the canvas before pounding his right
fist down upon the SCW logo, immediately springing to his feet thereafter.
Damian unfastens the clasps of his rope, letting it drop down to the mat behind
him. He glares out over the crowd. Angel climbs onto the middle rope and
outstretches his arms, bringing them together in an 'X' formation as he looks
down towards the pits of hell. He repeats this process on the other three sides
of the ring, and after the last one he hops off the turnbuckle.
Sharper: “Damian Angel has been
watching Peyton Rice. I don’t know if this is just interest-“
Knots: “It’s Damian. It’s
nefarious, whatever it is.”
Sharper: “May very well be.
He’ll however have a challenge tonight against Aaron Blackbourne
who many have lumped in with Owen, with Alistaire,
with Peyton. That group of competitors, of wrestlers, here in SCW looking to
make competition the primary goal. A pride in being the
best.”
All of a sudden, the lights go
out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. The tune of “The Nexus” by Amaranthe begins as a distorted speech that can barely be
made out plays amidst the beat, but it’s not long before the song kicks into
full gear, and when it does red and white lights begin
pulsing on the stage as we see that smoke has begun to engulf it. When the
lyrics kick in, the Tron comes to life with clips of Aaron Blackbourne
in action, both as himself and as his various demon incarnations. When the song
hits the chorus, several spotlights suddenly shine down onto the stage to
reveal the creative soul himself standing tall on the stage, arms raised and
outstretched as the fans erupt into cheers. Next to him under the spotlight is
a painting situated on an easel. Aaron looks at the painting with a smile
before motioning for the camera to get a good look at it as he begins heading
down to the ring as the lights start to come
back on, albeit dimmed. Instead of following him, the camera pans in on the
painting, which very clearly looks like Abigail Lindsay riding her motorcycle
along a desert road, although she looks like the wind is slowly causing her to
be reduced to dust and drift along in its breeze the farther she travels,
perhaps due to a noticeable area of her motorcycle having the familiar design
of a melting skull with a nail having been driven diagonally into it from the
top right carved into it, it's curse taking its toll.
Phillips: “His opponent, from
Seattle, Washington, he is Aaron Blackbourne!”
The shot suddenly cuts back to the ring just in time to catch Blackbourne leaping onto the apron and quickly climbing so
that he’s got one foot on the top turnbuckle, and in tune with the chorus
kicking in a second time he briefly crosses his arms across his chest before
throwing them out in his usual raised and outstretched pose, white spotlights suddenly
coming on and converging on him as he closes his eyes and basks in this moment.
When the chorus ends, Blackbourne leaps from the top
into the ring, removing his black jacket and setting it into his corner before
he begins doing some light warm-ups for the match ahead while glancing up at
the painting he left on the stage, a small smile gracing his lips.
Sharper: “Blackbourne
is ready to compete here, but he needs to be careful too. Abigail Lindsay I’m
sure is watching. She made it clear that she’s going after him because of Syren.”
Knots: “I hate to say he
should’ve seen it coming. But you know that there’s a
desperation in it. Never before has someone really been sent after
someone who beat Syren. There was a plan. But Ravyn’s sending Abigail after Aaron. This is new.”
Blackbourne looks at Damian as the bell
sounds. Damian and Aaron circle a bit before lunging at one another and locking
up. They push back on one another and Damian pushes him away. They break and
Damian nails him with a hard right. Aaron turns and Damian chops him. The crowd
woos. Aaron turns and chops him. The crowd woos. He kicks him in the ribs and
pushes him into the ropes. He fires him off. Damian bounces off the other side
and Aaron drops to a knee and elbows Damian in the ribs before hitting a snapmare. He runs into the ropes. He bounces off and goes
for a running knee. Damian ducks. Blackbourne stops
and spins around. Damian gets up and grabs him in a headlock. He then drags him
over to the ropes.
Sharper: “Damian grabbing Aaron,
forcing him to the ropes.”
Knots: “Why would you go to
the ropes?!”
1!
2!
3!
4!
Damian then runs Blackbourne’s face across the top rope. The crowd ohs and Blackbourne falls to a
knee.
Knots: “Oh. Well then!”
Damian kicks him in the ribs. He
then pulls him up and whips him across the ring. Blackbourne
off and Damian runs forward and clotheslines him down.
He goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Blackbourne kicks out. Both competitors
get up and Damian nails him with a hard right. Blackbourne
falls to the corner. Damian grabs him and goes to whip him across, but Blackbourne stops and pulls him into his knee. Damian flips
over and Blackbourne holds onto his arm. He steps
over Damian, rolling him over and hits a dropkick to the side of Damian. Damian
rolls over in pain. Blackbourne gets up and Damian
starts to get up and Blackbourne runs into the ropes
and jumps to the middle rope and jumps back with a leg drop to the head of
Damian. Damian hits the mat. Blackbourne goes for the
pin.
1!
2!
Damian kicks out. He rolls
over and Blackbourne grabs him by the head.
Sharper: “Blackbourne
starting to show his ability to use the ring, to keep Damian off kilter.”
Knots: “And holding on. Not
letting Damian just get away. Knows that’s not a good
thing. The man is a former World Champion!”
Damian fights a bit and Blackbourne knees him in the ribs. He then wrenches his arm
and hits a shoot kick to the ribs. Damian bends over and Blackbourne
rolls across his back and then hits an arm drag. Damian rolls through and gets
up to his feet and Blackbourne kicks him in the ribs
and hits a vertical suplex. He floats over for the
pin.
1!
2!
Damian kicks out again. Blackbourne gets up and Damian rolls over. Blackbourne drags him up, but Damian rakes the eyes. The
crowd boos. Damian then kicks him in the ribs and hits a throat thrust. Blackbourne falls to the ropes. Damian grabs him and whips
him across the ring. Blackbourne bounces off and
Damian scoops him up and hits a snap sidewalk slam. He pulls back on the legs.
1!
2!
Blackbourne pushes him off. Both get up
and Damian hits an overhead chop to the chest and then a knife-edged chop to
the chest. The crowd woos after both and Damian scoops him up and slams him
down. He then exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. Blackbourne gets up and Damian hits a double axe handle
smash to the face. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Damian going a bit
high-risk. Nothing too high risk. But making sure to get all
of that sledge.”
Knots: “Just driving it right
to the bridge of the nose. Focusing on the creative center of
Blackbourne. His head!”
Damian then backs to the
ropes, bounces off and hits a running knee drop. He rolls through and dives
back, hooking the leg.
1!
2!
Blackbourne kicks out. Damian rolls off. Blackbourne rolls over and stirs and Damian spins him
around. He then whips him hard into the corner. Damian runs after him and nails
him with a running clothesline. He then grabs him by the head and runs out with
a bulldog. He turns and rolls him over and drives his forearm into the jaw of Blackbourne.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Damian rolls off and Blackbourne pushes away. Damian turns and grabs him and
pulls him up, but Blackbourne rolls back and kicks
Damian in the face. Damian stumbles back, hits the ropes as Blackbourne
nips up and then lifts Damian up onto his shoulders and hits a twisting,
spinning Samoan drop. Damian rolls over in pain. Both get up and Blackbourne kicks Damian in the head hooks his head with a
half nelson and lifts him up before flipping him over into a backbreaker. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Blackbourne
with half nelson backbreaker!”
Knots: “Just muscling Angel
up. Angel may now feel like hell!”
Damian holds his back and Blackbourne pulls him up and hits a blue thunder bomb.
1!
2!
Damian shoots his shoulder up.
He rolls over. Blackbourne rolls back. He rolls over
and Damian stirs. Blackbourne clubs him in the back
and spins him around and whips him into the ropes. Damian bounces off and Blackbourne hoists him up onto his shoulders. Damian
however slides down and pushes Blackbourne into the
corner. Damian then runs after him and hits the Hell Crash. Damian ends up on
the apron. Blackbourne stumbles forward and Damian
steps into the ring and hits a running bulldog. He rolls Blackbourne
over and hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Blackbourne gets his shoulder up. The
crowd cheers. Damian gets up and grabs him. He pulls him up and then pushes him
into the ropes. He then turns and whips him across. Blackbourne
bounces off and Damian goes for a clothesline, but Blackbourne
catches his arm and jumps up and hits a crucifix bomb.
1!
2!
Damian just gets his shoulder
up. He rolls over and stirs and Blackbourne turns to
the ropes and then turns back to Damian and hits the Unchained Creativity. The
crowd roars.
Sharper: “Blackbourne
got all of that. Damian caught! The cover!”
1!
2!
3!
The crowd cheers.
Phillips: “Here is your
winner, via pinfall, Aaron Blackbourne!”
Blackbourne rolls
off and then starts to get up. He has his arm raised. As he does, we then Abigail Lindsay walking out from the back,
wearing a leather jacket. She looks at the ring and then the painting Blackbourne painted. Lindsay looks at it and then the ring
as Blackbourne steps up to the ropes. Lindsay nods
before then reaching into her coat and pulling out a knife. She then turns and
plunges it into the canvas. The crowd boos. She then draws it across, leaving a
massive gash in front of the painting before she turns and backs up and walks
to the back. The crowd boos.
Knots: “Guess she didn’t like
it.”
Sharper: “Or may be more a
metaphor. All the work…will be for nothing.”
Knots: “We’ll find out at
Under Attack!”
Blackbourne looks on and nods as we cut
away.
Backstage, we see the
limousine that pulled up earlier. It remains idling as we then see a couple of Sedans driving up to the limousine. They
park on the other side, one after the other.
Sharper: “Two cars driving up
to the limousine here.”
Knots: “Security kidding them out?
I mean the car is idling…”
We then see the doors open and
men dressed in security gear step out and one walks toward the front of the
limousine, one to the front of the first car, before the other two come out of
the second car and mirror this situation.
Sharper: “Looks like security
for the Beauty Factory. If that is them.”
Knots: “It’s got to be.”
Sharper: “And…”
Knots: “What?”
Sharper: “It looks like it is.
I’m being told, when we return, Spirit Dansby will be speaking with the Beauty Factory.
She is heading to the limousine now. That, when we return,
here on Breakdown.”
The scene fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns and we see
Sienna Swann stepping out of the limousine. The crowd boos seeing her. She
steps forward and turns back as Chris Cannon then steps out. The crowd boos
some more. Sienna looks around as Bree then steps out after him. She looks at
the US Championship before glancing back and Scott Burnside steps out.
Sharper: “As we expected, the
Beauty Factory here.”
Knots: “So is Chris Cannon!”
Sharper: “And so they are with
a lot of additional support.”
Spirit Dansby walks over to
Sienna, who smiles at her.
Spirit: “I see you’ve found
your own way to make an entrance.”
Sienna: “Needed to take some
precautions after the last couple of weeks.”
Spirit: “Well whenever you’re
ready, I’ll happily give you the floor.”
Sienna: “Oh Spirit…Sasha won’t
be happy about that.”
Spirit: “Please…with the
talent here? Who wants to go first? Chris?”
Chris steps forward. He scoffs
as Sienna looks at him lovingly.
Chris: “I don’t have much to
say. Because while I should be getting ready to get into that ring. Maybe even
having a proper match where I can prove that James Evans doesn’t deserve the
shot he has…or finally getting the opportunity I’m owed…I need to sit on the
sidelines.”
Chris points to his head.
Chris: “Not cleared. SCW
doctors won’t clear me…”
Chris chuckles.
Chris: “I’ll at least me in
her corner.”
Chris looks at Sienna. Sienna
and him kiss as Bree steps up.
Bree: “I’ll let them have a
moment. Because I get to deal with Tommy ‘newly minted hall of famer’
Valentine, defending my title against him. I heard his little rant earlier. You
had a problem with me sending Scott out there? Trust me, there was no way in
hell I was going to allow Derek Adonis a shot at this title. But…”
Bree pauses.
Bree: “You should be thanking
me. Because Adonis looked like he had you. And well, you had an issue with what
I said about the tournament field….about how none of you deserved a shot at me.
That riled you up. Well, Tommy…let’s see if I can get you riled up again. Because as far as I’m concerned, you won’t have my help this
Sunday. I’m not going to lie down or make it easy. I’m going to just
prove that this…you’re not winning it and I am FAR better than you!”
Bree holds up her title before
she steps back and Sienna steps up as Spirit motions to the camera. Sienna
steps forward.
Sienna: “You’re probably all
wondering why we’re doing this. You’re probably wondering why I took my knee
and cracked Glory’s jaw with it last week. But Sienna, we were on the same
page. Apparently not! It’s as simple as that. I don’t have time to weigh
things. She had a chance. Prove she was willing to stand behind everything she
told me all week long or prove she was too soft to win the Chamber. She proved
the latter. Good bye Glory. And at Under Attack, I’ll be waiting for your
receipt. I’ll give you a kiss goodbye again!”
Sienna then turns around and
extends her arms, showing off the limousine and the security.
Sienna: “What about all of
this?”
Sienna turns to the camera and
smiles.
Sienna: “This is me protecting
Bree, Chris and myself. From the masked men attacking Chris and giving him a concussion…to
Xander Valentine attacking me…and I know he could be
around here. I’m not taking a chance. This company won’t protect me. It won’t
protect the most important group in SCW. But that’s fine. See, we thought about
it all week. We could show up. We have Glory Braddock calling us out. We had
those masked men even knock me over last week. Xander
Valentine could be here. Syren, James Evans…we know
their tactics. And Owen Cruze and Alistaire
Allocco will continue their slander…why would we show up when frankly, we can
simply make a statement and control the narrative.”
Sienna looks at Chris and then
Bree.
Sienna: “We are champions.
Bree…US Champion. Chris…will be champion whenever this company stops holding
him back for no good reason. He’s as good to go. Trust me on that.”
Sienna smirks.
Sienna: “And after this
Sunday, I will be SCW World Champion. But if you want to see everyone try, and
FAIL, to stop me to get the title that is synonymous with me. Don’t worry. Syren won’t ever hold it again. I’m not going to let her.
Owen and Alistaire…their little Disney runs are over
and I sure as hell won’t let Glory or James hold it…You can pay your money to
see the greatest wrestler of a generation return to the top of the mountain
despite EVERYTHING against her…and it will all be for you…FOR THE PEOPLE!”
Sienna then smiles.
Sienna: “Now, we’re going to
leave. See you Sunday.”
Sienna turns around. The
chauffeur keeps the door open as Scott enters first, then Bree. Chris smiles
and kisses Sienna again. He steps in and slides in. Sienna turns to Spirit.
Sienna: “Thank you for giving
us the time, Spirit.”
Spirit: “Anytime.”
Sienna steps in as Spirit
turns and walks off. The chauffeur closes the door behind Sienna. He then walks
around and to the driver’s side door as the security guards re-enter their
cars. The crowd boos as the limousine then starts to drive off. The camera
films it as the two Sedans follow.
Sharper: “Just more pure
arrogance.”
Knots: “Let’s just hope that
when it comes to the Chamber, Sienna quickly realizes she’s in over her head!”
The scene continues to play
out for a few moments longer before we cut away.
We see Alistaire
watching the monitor. He shakes his head and turns around.
Alistaire: “Unbelievable. All the more
reason some of us have to step up.”
Adam then walks over and
smacks him on the back.
Adam: “How’s it going son?! Watching them. Please. You’ve got better things to watch.”
Alistaire: “Trying to hear out my
opponents. Need to make sure I’m ready for whatever they throw.”
Adam: “Totally get it. Want to
win. Walk out champion. Celebrate with Pey-Pey?”
Alistaire: “Dad…”
Adam: “Fine-“
Alistaire: “Not just that. I want to
beat Owen. I want to walk out champion. Use Apocalypse for motivation. That’s
what we should want. But I also want to make sure Sienna or Syren…or
perhaps some others don’t walk out champion.”
Adam: “Look, just remember
you’ve been in there. You’ve kicked ass. Taken names.
And this time you don’t have Ace to hold you down. You even won there!”
Alistaire: “Not the time to be
arrogant.”
Owen then walks into the room.
Owen: “Alistaire!”
Alistaire turns as the crowd cheers.
Owen: “Listen to them talk.”
Alistaire: “Of course.”
Owen: “I know they left. But I
won’t trust them as long as I can throw them. You’re standing on the right side
of things. I think I’ve got a plan to make sure that no matter what. From them,
to the masked people, to Syren…if they want to get
involved later when James and Glory compete, they’ll need to try a bit harder.”
Alistaire: “All ears.”
Adam: “Alistaire,
wait-“
Alistaire: “Gotta
go.”
Owen and Alistaire
head off as Adam watches them leave as the scene cuts away.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns. We see
Sasha with Owen and Alistaire.
Owen: “Look, we’re going out
there.”
Sasha: “I don’t want this
starting into something more.”
Owen: “It’s not. Alistaire and I.
We stand for one thing. For competition. Same with so many others. With all of these people getting
involved or willing to take a cheap shot, the easiest way to stop them…to do it
ourselves.”
Alistaire: “You can be rest assured. We
will not get involved. We will merely watch. But if someone attempts to
interfere, we will obstruct and wait for officials. James and Glory want to
prove who is best. We will determine it. Just like we will determine who is
best this Sunday.”
Owen and Alistaire
briefly look at one another.
Sasha: “Alright…”
Owen: “Thank you.”
Alistaire: “Now, if you excuse me, I
need to get to a monitor. Peyton is about to compete.”
Owen: “I’ll join you.”
Alistaire looks at Owen and the two
head off as we cut away.
We open up to see a shot of
Drake Hemingway shaking his head as Loretta Inglewood stands with Jessica
Winters.
Jessica: “I am here with
Loretta Inglewood and Drake Hemingway, the team of Purity, and you demanded
some air time. But I’m intrigued as to why.”
Loretta: “Our message always
deserves air time, but then again, SCW has always given more to the gratuitous.”
Drake: “We are here because a
warning has come down and frankly people should be prepared.”
Loretta: “Figures like Derek
Adonis reaching the finals of a tournament. Individuals
giving into their lust. Wrath abounds. And for weeks we have seen it all
develop and it all can be traced back, this recent excess, directly to the
moment where Xander Valentine attacked these fans.
They cheer it all. It was not a message from Xander
to Selena. It was a message that everything much change. And this Sunday,
should Xander show up, without doubt, another message
will come.”
Jessica: “What are you talking
about?”
Drake: “Xander
and Selena are mere vessels. Making clear that people need to take heed about
what we speak. Purity should be the goal. But Xander
and Selena reflect all of the worst. The self-adulation, the lust, the wrath,
even the impure…we all remember how Selena had to tart
herself up to appear more sexual, alongside those like Kennedy Street, Sienna
Swann or Regan Street. SCW is at a crossroads and this Sunday, it will have to
make a choice. But we will not stand by and watch. We refuse to be passive!”
Loretta: “And if we have to
force SCW to make the right decision, we will.”
Loretta and Drake look into
the camera before we cut away.
Clyde Sutter vs. Peyton Rice
SCW Television Championship
The lights in the arena go out
as the opening chords of “Unforgiven” by Metallica begins
to play. As the song picks up its pace a spotlight shines at the top of
the ramp and we see “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter standing there with a sinister
grin on his face. He is flanked by his agent, Mason Van Stanton, who
smirks arrogantly out at the crowd who showers both men with booing and
jeering. After a few moments of soaking in the crowd reaction, which he
seems to enjoy despite their booing, Sutter begins his slow walk down the ramp,
with Van Stanton following closely behind.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the
SCW Television Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, he hails from
Raleigh, NC.! Weighing in at 288 lbs., accompanied to
the ring by Mason Van Stanton, he is “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter!”
The spotlight follows the sinister sociopath as he approaches the ring; Sutter
then foregoes the steel steps as he leaps up from the floor to the ring
apron. Mason applauds from the outside as he uses the steel steps to join
his client on the ring apron. With the spotlight remaining only on them
as one of the few lights in the arena at the moment, Sutter and Van Stanton
enter the ring and then stand in the center. Van Stanton applauds his
client while the fans continue to show their
displeasure. The sound of Metallica dies down and the lights come back
on.
Knots: “One mean and dangerous hombre that went toe to toe with James Evans a
few weeks ago. Now he gets the chance at the TV Championship and I fear for Peyton
here, Sharper. This does not look good.”
Sharper: “The odds are definitely against her that is for sure, but we have
seen Peyton and she is resilient though I must say that Clyde Sutter is
becoming one of the most dangerous men in the SCW.”
The arena goes dark before a lone spotlight shines on the entrance,
suddenly the opening beats to “All The Days" by Mammoth play throughout
the arena as the beautiful Peyton Rice walks out in wrestling gear and jacket. Her long dark blonde hair hanging down. She looks around at
the crowd before getting to one knee and making a line across the entrance, she crosses her arms and lowers her head for a
moment before standing up and pointing to the ring as the crowd roars.
With her gorgeous and contagious smile, Peyton starts to walk to the ring,
stopping and pulling off some high fiving the fans and taking selfies with
them. She continues to head to the ring soaking up the reaction before hopping
into the apron and pointing the crowd before flipping over the top rope as the
crowd roars and stepping on the second rope, raising her arms and looking up,
she then thanks the fans while being announced….
Phillips: “And His opponent, she is the reigning SCW Television Champion! From
Glendale, Arizona! Weighing in at 115 pounds, here is “No Another
Pretty Face” Peyton Rice!”
The crowd roars as she flips from the second rope on to her feet and does a
cartwheel. She takes off her jacket and ruffles her hair a little…
Sharper: “Peyton Rice has a hard-fought victory against Jordan Majors and now
this young woman will tussle with this monster of a man. I know Peyton hasn’t
said much about it but if she can survive tonight, two more defenses and she
becomes the lo gest reigning TV Champion in the
history of the belt.”
Knots: “And like it did for Kennedy, this belt has now defined Peyton and put
her on the map, she was under the radar before, she is no longer that and we
saw Infamous attack her and Jordan last week. She was very vocal about it and
she knows what this guy Sutter is all about.”
As Peyton is stretching and getting ready, Sutter runs across the ring and
tries a double axe-handle, Peyton quickly rolls out of the way as the referee
calls for the bell. Peyton hist a dropkick! And then
another causing Sutter to stumble back some, Peyton hits another causing Sutter
to fall back against the ropes, she runs toward him with a Hurricarana
but Sutter catches her, he walks around holding Peyton in the power Bomb
position until Peyton finally maneuvers and falls behind Sutter, trying to roll
him over for the pin but he grabs her by the neck, lifting her up and she
quickly dropkicks Sutter as he falls back, Peyton runs up to the top rope and
delivers a flying bodypress but Clyde catches her, he
then swings her for a slide slam but Peyton adjusts into a crucifix pin, Sutter
though hangs on and drops her into a Samoan Drop, Peyton arches her back,
yelling in pain as Sutter sits up, he picks up Peyton by the hair and whips her
into the turnbuckle, he runs in when Peyton jumps up over the ropes, Clyde hits
the turnbuckle hard, he steps back holding his chest, Peyton climbs to the top
rope and hits a missile dropkick!
Sutter finally goes down; Peyton runs against the ropes with a moonsault on top for the cover...
1!
2!
Sutter kicks out with authority!
Peyton back on her feet she goes for the Snowbird but Sutter gets the big boot
up, Peyton stumbles back, holding her face before she runs at him again this
time getting caught with a massive spinebuster, Clyde
hooks the leg for the cover…
1!
2!
Peyton Kicks Out!
Sharper: “Peyton caught hard with the Spinebuster
after many attempts to get Sutter down but she could only do it for a moment
before he was back on his feet. She took a couple of big impact hits already, she can’t take too many more of those.”
Knots: “Clyde Sutter has every advantage right now with Peyton, she needs to be
quick with her moves but attacking him like that and we are going to have a new
TV Champion.”
Clyde picks her up by the hair, he forearms her a few times, Peyton stumbles
back, hurt before he brings her into a front facelock
and right up into a stalling suplex, landing hard on
the mat, Peyton screams in pain. Suddenly Damian Angel walks out from the back
and he starts to watch, the crowd boos…
Sharper: “Oh no, Damian Angel is out here again to get another look at the TV
Champion, I don’t know what his intentions are but here’s here again.”
Knots: “There are no good intentions when it comes to Damian Angel and Peyton
does not need this distraction.”
Peyton slowly tries to get up, Sutter grabs her by the
hair and throws her half-way across the ring as the crowd boos. Van Stanton
claps as Sutter laughs, he picks her up again and smirks in her face when
Peyton forearms Sutter, surprising the big man, he stymies her with a punch to
her face, she falls to the mat, holding her lip which
is now busted open. He kicks her a few times while she is down, picking her up
again but the hair he hoists her up into a Gorilla Press… into a Cruciform
Slam!
Knots: “He just broke her….”
Sharper: “New Champion right here!”
The referee drops for the count….

3… NO!
Peyton Kicks Out! Sutter glances over at the referee who shakes his head,
holding up two fingers. Clyde looks over at Van Stanton who nods and slams the
mats. Sutter picks up the bloody Peyton and throws her into the ropes but
brings her back into a roaring elbow, she stumbles back and he runs at her with
a shoulder tackle. She falls flat on the mats, slowly moving as he picks her back
up, Damian Angel continues to watch as Sutter places his hands around her neck
and goes for a Chokeslam but Peyton at the last
possible second dropkicks Sutter, he lets go and stumbles back, she runs
against the ropes and before she can react Sutter grabs her by the neck and
delivers a devastating chokeslam. The crowd boos as
he looks down at Peyton sprawled on the mat and drops for the cover….
Sharper: “This could be over….”
Knots: “New champion…..”
The referee drops for the count….

3… No! Shoulder Up!
Peyton shoots up her shoulder as now Clyde Sutter is starting to get annoyed.
He signals for the end of the match, picking up Peyton for a Power Bomb
position but Peyton starts punching Sutter, over and over as he stumbles back,
she tries another Hurricarana but Sutter holds her
up, she dangles for a second as Sutter picks her back up for a Powerbomb but this time punches him even faster until she
drops to her feet, she runs against the ropes and he suddenly goes for the
Clothesline From hell but Peyton ducks, running against the ropes when Sutter
is about to gear up for The Unforgiven but before he can react, Peyton is too
fast for him and hist the Snowbird! The spear takes
the big man down and she drops for the cover….
Sharper: “What a counter by Peyton!”
Knots: “She just knocked him off his feet!”
Peyton hooks the leg….

Kick Out By Sutter!
Peyton tries to get back to her feet, she waits and suns at Sutter, he delivers
another big boot but Peyton catches it, she goes for a side leg sweep but
Cutter jumps, she misses and gets back up into a huge lift up into a European
forearm. Peyton is out on her feet as Sutter walks across the ring and waits,
she slowly starts to get up….
Sharper: “Peyton is fighting with all she has but
Sutter is looking to hit The Unforgiven! He has completely overpowered her,
look at her bloody lip, and Damian Angel is enjoying this.”
Knots: “She has been a great TV Champion, but Sutter has dominated this match
and she has no answers, this is a mercy kill now.”
Peyton slowly starts to get up, Sutter runs and hits
The Unforgiven, no! Peyton rolls forward right under it, Sutter lands hard, Van
Stanton screams for him to get up as he does, Peyton hops on the second rope
with an enzinguiri! Sutter falls to his knees,
leaning forward, Peyton hops on the top rope hitting the Pretty Girl Drop on
the back of Sutter! He rolls over….
Knots: “What a move right on his back! She might pull this off, Sharper!”
Sharper: “Pretty Girl Drop! Sutter has rolled on his back and Peyton on top for
the cover!”
Peyton hooks the leg…..

The Bell rings as Peyton screams and rolls off Sutter, the crowd roars as “All
the Days” play throughout the arena. Van Stanton can’t believe it. Peyton gets
to her feet as Damian makes his way to the ring….
Phillips: “The winner of the match and STILL SCW Television Champion…. Peyton
Rice!”
The crowd roars as the referee raises her arm and hands her the belt, Damian
Angel steps in the ring as she turns to stand there face to face….
Sharper: “Peyton rice wins but now she is standing face to face with the Devil
himself!”
Knots: “Get out of the ring Peyton. She needs to get that mouth looked at and
wait…..”
Before she can react, Peyton turns around and is met with a Clothesline From Hell by Sutter! Peyton is laid out in the ring as he
looks at Damian, pointing at her and screaming… “All yours!”
He gets out of the ring with Van Stanton and starts to make his way back to the
ring. Damian looks down at Peyton who starts to stir, she turns over and grabs
his boot….
Sharper: “Someone needs to help this young lady, she
is in a lot of trouble!”
Knots: “This does not look good!”
Suddenly the crowd cheers just when Damian reaches down, Alistaire
Allocco runs out from the back as the crowd roars, he slides in and Damian
Angel quickly jumps out of the ring. Alistaire looks
at him while checking on Peyton. She nods letting him know that she is okay as
he covers her up in his arms. Damian backs up smiling as he too makes his way
to the back….
Sharper: Alistaire came out
and saved Peyton from what we could only imagine was going to be a devilish
deed. Peyton with the win tonight, Sutter took the last shot. I’m glad that she
is going to be okay.”
Knots: “Huge win by Peyton, she shows once again that she is a major player
here in the SCW but there are some bad intentions with Damian there, Alistaire with the save of his girlfriend, he’ll get lucky
tonight.”
Sharper: “Stop.”
Alistaire continues to check on Peyton, slowly
helping her up as the crowd cheers…..
“The Old Me” by Memphis May
Fire plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A still of Glory
Braddock vs. James Evans follows.
Sharper: “Glory Braddock and
James Evans will compete next with Owen Cruze and Alistaire Allocco at ringside to ensure it’s a fair fight.”
Knots: “Oh boy.”
Sharper: “It’s next, here on
Breakdown!”
The scene fades to black.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns and we see Alistaire with Peyton walking backstage. Owen Cruze heads over to them.
Owen: “Peyton, you’re okay?”
Peyton: “Yeah. Ali got out
there.”
Owen: “I stepped out…”
Alistaire: “Don’t worry about it. She’s
safe. Go to the ring. I’m going to make sure Peyton’s safe and I’ll be out
there.”
Owen: “You sure.”
Peyton: “Go. I’m fine.”
Owen nods.
Owen: “Alright.”
Owen looks at Alistaire and then Peyton before heading off as Alistaire and Peyton head in the opposite direction.
James Evans vs. Glory Braddock
The first chords
of "When Legends Rise" begins to play over the PA system...
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall,
for TV time remaining and is your main event of the evening! First, from
London, England, she is The British Bombshell, Glory Braddock!”
Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of
purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a
million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment
before making her way down the entrance ramp.
The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto
the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to
take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. Once
in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the
music dies down slowly...
Sharper: “Glory Braddock
coming out hoping to vindicate her words earlier. For both, that’s what this
match is. There’s a degree of confidence, arrogance…”
Knots: “They’re both competing
for the World Title this Sunday. You need to be confident to succeed at this
level.”
The opening of “Door to Door
Cannibals" can be heard blaring through the PA system. The camera
will pan through the curtain as the face of James Evans appears, igniting a
positive reaction from the crowd, as they shower him in cheers. The camera
remains on James as he breaks through the curtain. The cheers intensify as
James looks out at the crowd.
Phillips: “Her opponent, from
New York City, New York, he is James Evans!”
James slowly makes his way to the ring, as images of him winning various
championships and hitting various moves appear on the screen. James reaches the
ring and makes his way up the ring steps, before turning and facing the crowd.
James then steps into the ring and walks to the center of it,
removing his black hoodie, maintaining his focus. James then goes to the
corner and sits on the top turnbuckle, his back to the crowd, as the screen
shows James powerbombing Ace Marshall through the
barricade, as well as James lifting the SCW World title above his head, as his
music comes to an end.
Sharper: “James Evans all
business. And we’ve seen where his head is at. He wants to win. He wants to win
period. And this Sunday, the Chamber may be the perfect location for him.”
Knots: “He can do whatever he
needs to. But he’s also got to deal with a lot of motivated people. A lot of
people who are going to look to end his title hopes
quick.”
Sharper: “Of course, we don’t
know who will start until this Sunday. But this match could be interesting –
get in your opponent’s head. Get an advantage for this Sunday.”
The lights straight to flicker
in the arena as “The show must go on” the SCW / Maserati Remix kicks in over
the PA system, the opening beats bringing a huge cheer from the fans
“Empty spaces, what are we living for?
Abandoned places, I guess we know the score, on and on
Does anybody know what we are looking for?”
Owen steps out onto the stage to an even louder outpouring of noise, looking
left and right at the fans and nodding in acknowledgment of their support.
James looks at the stage as Glory does too. Owen walks out with the SCW World
Championship over his shoulder. He continues on his way to the ring and gets to
the ringside area. We then hear the bell sound as James and Glory start to
circle the ring.
Sharper: “Owen Cruze and Alistaire Allocco
saying they would come out here to ensure this match takes
place. Alistaire, however, making sure Peyton Rice is
safe. Told Owen to head out. Owen reluctantly doing so, with
Peyton’s encouragement. But this match is kicking off!”
Knots: “Yeah. Bell sounds.
Let’s go!”
Glory and James look at one
another and Glory reluctantly moves in for a lock up. James pushes her back and
into the corner. Glory leans back. The referee calls for a break.

James lets go and backs up.
Glory looks at him. James backs up and then calls her to come in. Glory shrugs
and lunges. James goes to grab her, but Glory drops down and spins around him.
She grabs the leg and pulls it up. James then grabs her by the hair and pulls
her away, causing Glory to let go and James forearms her in the jaw. He then
sends her into the ropes. Glory bounces off and James clotheslines her down. He
goes for the early pin.
1!
Glory kicks out. James turns
and Glory rolls away. They look at one another.
Sharper: “James going for an
early pin. Glory defiantly kicking out at one!”
Knots: “Clearly trying to send
a message. Defiance as you said.”
Glory gets up and James gets up
and Glory runs at James. James sidesteps and sends Glory in. She bounces off
and James hip tosses her down. James goes to grab her, but Glory rolls back, headscissors him and forces him down. James rolls through.
Both get up and James turns and Glory hits a dropkick. She goes for the pin.
1!
James kicks out. Glory rolls
over and turns and goes for a shoot kick to the head. James slides back and
goes to pull her down with a school boy. James however turns into a double leg
grab and tries to hoist her up for a Boston crab. Glory fights and James bends
over and Glory forearms him in the jaw and then again before getting her left
leg free and kicking James in the head. James falls to the ropes.
Sharper: “Glory fighting to
get out. Knows that James has the strength advantage. Doesn’t want to let him have it.”
Knots: “Not just that, but
James has a weight advantage. He sits down on a hold. That’s it.”
The camera cuts to show Alistaire starting to walk from the back, trainer’s tape
around his wrist as he wraps it around over and over.
Sharper: “And here comes the
former World Champion to join the current World Champion to keep this match
going.”
Knots: “Gave Peyton a romantic
nod before coming out here.”
Sharper: “Easy there.”
Knots: “Well I could’ve said
it was a quickie or a make out sesh. Geez, Sharper. How much easier can I get?!”
James turns to Glory and Glory
jumps up and hits another dropkick, knocking him down. James starts to get up
and Glory then turns and kicks her in the stomach and then again and again.
James rolls over. Glory runs into the ropes. She bounces off and goes for a
running dropkick, but James moves out of the way. Glory slides through. She
rolls over and gets up and James lifts her up onto his shoulders and Glory
fights out. She pushes James forward. He bounces off and Glory jumps up and
goes for the Shekinah Glory. James blocks it though and lifts her up and then
runs forward and hits a buckle bomb. The crowd ohs. Glory stumbles forward and James grabs her and
turns and pushes her into the ropes before pushing her forward and
clotheslining her up and over, going up and over himself
too in the process. Both end up on the floor by the entrance way.
Sharper: “Both up and over. James just using his momentum and brute strength to send her over!”
Knots: “Hell and follow her
over!”
Glory rolls over and James
starts to get up. They do and just as they do, we see Owen and Alistaire talking to one another. Alistaire
then points something out as we see the masked individuals running out the
floor by the stage. The smaller, female masked person hops onto the rampway. James gets up and Glory does too and the female
one runs over and goes to nail James, but Alistaire
runs over and dives in front of them, tackling the female down. He then looks around
as the male runs over and Owen nails him with a hard right and then another.
The man doesn’t fight back, intentionally, keeping his hands down. Owen looks
at him and then grabs him and runs him into the barricade. James looks at them
and then grabs Glory and rolls her into the ring. James looks at them and then
shakes it off and rolls back into the ring. Alistaire
grabs the woman and tries to walk her to the back, grabbing her in a bearhug, hooking her arms. She fights.
Alistaire: “You’re done. We’re
returning you the back!”
Owen nails the masked man
again and he staggers off. James gets up in the ring and grabs Glory, but Glory
jumps up and suddenly hits a snap frankensteiner. The
crowd roars.
Sharper: “Alistaire
is escorting one of these masked individuals to the back! Owen is working over
the other! And Glory just took down James in the ring!”
Knots: “Figuring the masked
individuals would come out! Jesus!”
Alistaire keeps trying to get her back
before officials come out and they come around Alistaire
and the woman. Alistaire lets go, backing away as the
official take care of her. He then turns back to Owen and the masked man turns
and lunges for Alistaire, going to grab him, but Alistaire ducks and takes him down with a fireman’s carry
takedown. He then locks in a reverse chinlock as a
few more officials come over to him. Owen just smirks and nods. He watches as
we see Glory get up in the ring and turns to James. She hits a shoot kick and
then nails him with a hard right. She grabs him and pulls him up and then hits a DDT. James rolls to his back. Glory rolls over and turns
and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope. She gets to the top, and
just then, James gets up and runs over and grabs her and hits a twisting spinebuster off the middle rope. The crowd roars.
Sharper: “James Evans plants
Glory Braddock with that spinebuster!”
Alistaire gets free as the officials
get the masked individuals to the back. We then see CHBK run out and push one
of the officials out of the way. James gets up in the ring as we see Crowe
running past and he and CHBK go after Alistaire.
Crowe and CHBK get shots in and Alistaire falls over.
Owen runs over and nails CHBK with a hard right and then Alistaire.
Syren then runs out and jumps up and over them,
nailing Owen. Owen falls back as officials turn and try to get them out.
Sharper: “Wait a minute!
Infamous! Syren! CHBK! Crowe!”
Knots: “And they’re going
after Alistaire and Owen!”
Sharper: “James Evans watching
this, and he’s focusing on the match!”
Knots: “He’s focusing on the
win! The statement!”
James turns and grabs Glory
and pulls her up. He knees her in the ribs and then again before double underhooking her. He hoists her up, but Glory manages to
flip through, lands on her feet and then jumps up and hits an enziguri kick to the side of the head. James drops down.
Glory rolls over. Owen falls to the ring as Syren,
CHBK and Crowe grab Alistaire and throw them down.
They then all start to stomp away on him. He covers up as the crowd boos. Owen
then looks into the ring as Glory then turns and looks at him. Owen and Glory
share a look before Owen glances back and Glory runs back into the ropes,
bounces off. As she goes for a dive over the top rope, Owen jumps to the middle
rope and hits an Asai moonsault
and two land on CHBK, Crowe and Syren.
The crowd erupts in cheers.
Sharper: “Owen and Glory
working together! Both using their agility to take down
Infamous!”
Knots: “And help Alistaire! James didn’t care. Glory did! I guess there is
some respect there!”
The crowd roars. Glory rolls
over as Owen does too. Syren slowly rolls over and
falls over. Owen lunges and gets up and goes after her. She turns and goes for
a hard right, but Owen blocks it and then knees her in the ribs. Glory turns
and goes after CHBK and Crowe. CHBK pushes her back into the barricade and
Glory clubs him in the back. James then rolls to the floor. He runs around and
goes after Crowe. The crowd cheers as Infamous is quickly sent into retreat.
Sharper: “Everyone is going
after Infamous! Their attempt to get a cheap advantage backfired! Glory, James,
Owen! All fighting them off. Alistaire
down! We’re out of time!”
Knots: “And we’re going to see
six individuals in the Chamber match on Sunday!”
Sharper: “Who will walk out
the World Champion?!”
The brawl continues as the
scene fades to black…
