“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

MAIN SHOW:

The opening bars of “The Old Me” by Memphis May Fire play as the Breakdown logo flies across the screen.

I'm thinking about the old me
'Cause I've been feeling empty
I never used to be so dead inside

Shots of Syren celebrating with the World Championship start before we see a shot of the Beauty Factory standing tall in the ring. Following this is Aaron Blackbourne hitting the Unchained Creativity on an opponent. Katie Steward hitting the Off with her Head on Giovanni Aries at Retribution 2018 follows.

I think I lost my memory
I can't remember carefree
And all my days turn into fight or flight

Owen Cruze hitting the Cruze Stomp on an opponent follows before we see Selena Frost hitting the Glass Shard on Bree Lancaster. Bree Lancaster hitting the Classifier on Aaron Blackbourne follows before we see Scarlet Grey walking to the ring.

I wanna get back, tell me how to get back
I wanna get back, tell me how to get back

Kennedy Street hitting Dante McCaffery with the Touch of Class follows before we see James Evans and Angelica Jones holding the SCW World Tag Team Championship. Marie Jones standing on the ropes follows before we see Kandis swiveling her hips as part of her entrance. Derek Adonis holding up a copy of the KABLAMA Sutra follows.

Say it again, say it again, tell me what I wanna hear
Tell me that I'm gonna be fine and there's nothing left to fear
'Cause I've been losing sleep (losing sleep)
Trying to get back to who I used to be
Where is the old me?

Chris Cannon spearing Kennedy Street and Owen Cruze follows before we see a shot of Cassidy Carter dancing on her way to the ring, and then a shot of Regan Street and Datura swinging chairs at one another. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are live in Oklahoma as the fallout of Apocalypse is here.”

Knots: “And it’s starting with someone’s ego pushing everyone out of the arena! Sienna Swann is here!”

The camera cuts to the stage as “Style” by Taylor Swift plays in the background. Sienna Swann is on the stage and looks around with Laura Steinbeck by her side. The two start to walk down to the ring. The crowd boos her.

Sharper: “It was not a good night at Apocalypse for the Beauty Factory if you remove Bree Lancaster from the equation. Chris Cannon put in concussion protocol. He will be not in action until he clears. Sienna meanwhile did not solve anything with Selena, instead, Xander Valentine came through the crowd with a taser and threw Sienna into oncoming security.”

Knots: “But Sienna still didn’t get the worst of it. Selena Frost was launched over the top rope and into our laps, driven through our table by Xander before he was subdued and forcibly removed from the arena in handcuffs!”

Sienna and Laura reach the ring and Sienna Swann walks up the steel steps and then walks along the apron. She walks across before looking at Jason Phillips. Phillips looks at them from across and Sienna motions to him. Phillips walks along the ringside area on the floor before Sienna snaps at him to get into the ring. Phillips enters and Sienna demands he open the ropes for him. Phillips reluctantly does as Sienna enters and Laura then steps in after. Laura then asks for a microphone. Phillips exits the ring and walks across.

Knots: “Oh good. We’re now pushing around Phillips!”

Sharper: “Chris Cannon not here tonight. Recovering. Obviously, Sienna Swann is looking to vindicate her ego tonight.”

Knots: “Remember they were demanding a World Title shot. That that be deal with tonight!”

Sienna stands in the middle of the ring as Phillips grabs a microphone and turns back, handing it to Laura. Laura takes it and Sienna then walks over and asks for it. Laura says something to her. Sienna just nods.

Sharper: “Last Breakdown, Chris was doing the talking. I think Sienna has plenty to say.”

Knots: “It’s a day that ends in y. Of course she does.”

Sienna takes the microphone and walks over a moment before turning back and looking out at the crowd. Her music fades to black. Sienna then looks up at the camera.

Sienna: “In the last two and a half weeks, I’ve had to deal with the social media slander of this own company…”

Sienna pauses briefly.

Sienna: “I’ve had to deal with Xander Valentine getting involved in a matter that had nothing to do with him. And now, I know exactly the same struggle that he is dealing with as Chris is at home, recovering from a brutal attack by someone else that has been enabled by this company!”

The crowd boos.

Sienna: “The level of disrespect on display for me, Chris, Laura and the Beauty Factory is to another level.”

The crowd boos some more. A quick “asshole!” chant starts to break out as Sienna looks around.

Knots: “Hey! Even Oklahoma knows what Sienna is!”

Sienna looks around.

Sienna: “I mean, what is going on here? I am your greatest wrestler. I am a true champion. And the situation is to such a degree that people like Xander, who cannot be held accountable for their actions. Especially after what Selena did…just like Chris won’t be able to and he’s a new father! He’s got a family. And Nathaniel, our son, deserves to see his father in good health!”

Sharper: “Our son? I thought it was Kelcey’s?!”

Knots: “Ego, Sharper. Ego.”

Sienna: “But since Sasha took over, the poor decision-making is off the rails. But there is one opportunity now to solve it all. We made this clear – you promised me a rematch for the World Title. I better get it at Under Attack or else tonight will be the beginning of the worst hell you’ll ever imagine!”

Sienna continues to talk as the crowd cheers.

Sienna: “See, I am done waiting. I am done trying to figure out what you want. The fact is that I will give you the strongest evidence ever. I have beat Alistaire Allocco. I have beat Owen Cruze. FOR THAT TITLE. So…”

The camera turns as Sasha walks over to the ring and walks up the steel steps. Laura gets Sienna’s attention and Sienna turns and smiles.

Sienna: “Going to finally do what you need to do.”

Sasha enters the ring and walks across, at first ignoring Sienna, causing her to scowl a bit before Sasha is handed a microphone from Phillips. Sasha turns back.

Sienna: “So…”

Sasha: “I hope you got it all out.”

Sienna: “I’m just getting started.”

Sasha: “Well that’s a shame. Given that I’m out here to tell you that you will be getting a World Championship shot at Under Attack!”

The crowd roars before booing loudly. Sienna goes from a bit of shock to a smile.

Sienna: “Finally!”

Sharper: “It’s happening. Sienna’s getting her shot!”

Sienna: “Better make sure it’s nice and shined up.”

Sasha: “Oh, I’m not done announcing anything yet. See, I came out here because Sienna, that World Championship match is more than just you and Owen Cruze. See, you’re one of many that I think have legitimate claims at a World Championship shot. And I’m not going to give you a shot at Xander and I have other matters to deal with for Under Attack, but I can clear the floor going forward!”

Sienna looks at Sasha as Sasha continues.

Sasha: “There are a lot of people in the same position as you. Having beat someone else. Avoided a pin. Even could deserve a rematch. Some claim they’re the best. Some claim they represent what’s best for the title. Well, Sienna, time to put up or shut up!”

Sienna: “Do we really need to go through the show? I should get it alone!’

Sasha: “You can prove me wrong. You can stand tall over all other contenders, holding the belt you claim is yours…Just as Syren claims…You remember her. Let’s remove all doubt. Let’s add James Evans who not only never got his rematch, years ago, but you have a bit of a problem with. Let you get revenge.”

Sienna: “What is wrong with you? He should be fired!”

Sasha: “But Syren, she has a ghost from her past…one Glory Braddock. Let’s give her a shot when she never was pinned at Rise to Greatness. And of course, let’s not forget the former World Champion, Alistaire Allocco!”

The crowd roars.

Sasha: “Swann, Syren, Allocco, Braddock, Evans, Cruze….inside the Chamber at Under Attack for the World Championship!”

The crowd erupts in cheers as Sienna turns to Laura and then to Sasha.

Sharper: “Oh my God!”

Knots: “Six champions. Six fighters. Six wrestlers. Six fighting for the World Title!”

Sienna: “This solves nothing. I should have my match against Owen, one on one! Plus, what about Xander? What about James? You’re just going let them do whatever. What about James’ henchmen. Probably some homeless people he found on the street to mug poor Chris?”

Sasha: “I’ve made my decision. As for Xander, I’ll handle that. And as for James…he’s in the Chamber. They’re not getting in. No one is. Six people fighting to prove who is best. So Sienna…you can prove you are the best. You have your title shot!”

Sasha then turns and walks over to the ropes. She steps through and drops down to the floor. She places the microphone on the apron before turning and walking to the back. Sienna looks a bit stunned before stepping forward. Laura however stops her as Sienna continues to look annoyed.

Sharper: “Huge match made. Sasha giving not only Sienna her title shot, but Syren her rematch. Glory gets one. Alistaire gets his and James Evans, who defeated Chris Cannon, gets his opportunity too to get back to the top.”

Knots: “Rematches all around and Sienna is not happy.”

“The Old Me” by Memphis May Fire plays throughout the arena.

Knots: “Sienna just annoyed. Nothing new there.”

Sharper: “Sasha adding she’ll be dealing with Xander Valentine. What does that mean? But Jon, tonight, huge tonight.”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen before we see a still of Regan Street vs. Damian Angel.

Sharper: “Regan Street, the Hellcat, will be in action tonight.”

Knots: “She lost the Adrenaline Championship. Datura, however, beat Satan Himself. Tonight, Regan looks to do the same. Think she’s got her mind there?”

We then see a shot of Owen Cruze holding the SCW World Championship.

Sharper: “And we’re going to hear from the new World Champion, Owen Cruze! He’ll have plenty to talk about.”

Knots: “Especially after what was just announced!”

The Under Attack logo comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Meanwhile Sasha was busy signing matches this week. We can already announce a few for Under Attack.”

“Right Now” by Fire From the Gods plays as a still of the SCW Adrenaline Championship and then a shot of Regan Street vs. Asher Hayes follows.

Knots: “Regan Street won’t need to wait long for her rematch. A lot of rematches in the cards it looks like. Regan Street now will chase Asher Hayes, looking to get back her title. Can she do that at Under Attack?”

The Under Attack logo comes up on the screen again before we see a shot of Gavin Taylor vs. Kandis come up on the screen.

Sharper: “Nothing solved at Apocalypse. Gavin Taylor using Scarlet Grey’s gauntlet to get disqualified. Now he’ll need to deal with Kandis directly. One on one at Under Attack!”

The Under Attack logo comes up again before we see a shot of the SCW World Tag Team Championship before a still of Zero F***s to Give vs. Twin Magic comes up.

Knots: “Tag Titles also getting a rematch! Twin Magic won the titles at Apocalypse. Ryan Watson and Autumn Valentine getting their change to get it back at Under Attack too!”

The Breakdown logo comes up as the Under Attack theme remains playing. The SCW United States Championship appears on the screen before a still of the brackets for the US Championship Contendership Tournament follows.

Sharper: “We also know the US championship will be on the line at Under Attack. Bree Lancaster will defend. She defeated another contender.”

Knots: “Surprised its not Selena Frost?”

Sharper: “Well, something to follow up with Sasha I’m sure. But Bree Lancaster will face one of these eight.”

Knots: “Sienna Swann and Bree Lancaster already had plenty to say on Twitter.”

Sharper: “They may be eating those words. That tournament, it starts tonight. All of the quarterfinals match tonight. Semifinals and finals next week! Big opportunities available in SCW these days.”

Knots: “And we’re kicking off the tournament when we get back!”

Sharper: “Not only that…”

We cut backstage to see Bree Lancaster talking with Scott Burnside in one of the luxury boxes as Jessica Winters is talking to a production crew member.

Sharper: “We’ll hear from Bree Lancaster when we return.”

Knots: “Oh goody.”

Sharper: “Breakdown continues after this!”

The scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns as we open up to see Jessica Winters in one of the luxury boxes of the Chesapeake Energy Arena. Next to her is Bree Lancaster who looks up and smirks. Scott Burnside is with her. The SCW United States Championship sits over Bree’s shoulder.

Jessica: “Welcome back to Breakdown. I’m Jessica Winters and I am with the SCW Untied States Champion, Bree Lancaster, who is with her manager Scott Burnside. Bree, tonight starts a US Championship contendership tournament and you’ve gotten this position looking high above onto everyone, watching this tournament. You’ve been clear that you feel that this is just lining up another successful defense for yourself.”

Bree: “Is that not self-evident?”

Bree pauses.

Jessica: “Some great talent in that tournament.”

Bree: “Great. I’m not great. I’m better than all of that. Who should I be concerned by? Max Kane who couldn’t beat another person who doesn’t deserve a shot, Rachel Tatum Lee. Is he finally going to focus enough to get it done? Yeah, there’s some good talent in there. From Drake Hemingway who I occasionally approve of some of what he stands for to Tommy Valentine, a hall of famer, to even Datura, who I’ve seen and heard the stories. I saw what she put Regan through. The difference is that I’m not Regan. I’m Bree Lancaster. Don’t you know that? I’ve held my title longer than anyone else has in SCW, except Peyton Rice and frankly, that’s apples to oranges. Two very different issues.”

Bree scoffs.

Bree: “So let them all fight. All eight. Let them fight and see who will be lined up to face me. I beat Aaron Blackbourne at Rise to Greatness. Jake Starr at Apocalypse and Giovanni Aries to get my title back. I’ll happily face who is next and continue to prove that myself, along with Sienna Swann and Chris Cannon, are the symbols of excellence. And Sasha…SCW better recognize that soon!”

Bree smiles and turns to Jessica.

Bree: “You can now leave.”

Jessica looks at Bree and then backs up and nods.

Jessica: “Come on Harry.”

Bree watches Jessica as the camera leans forward and down and we cut to a wide shot of the crowd in the arena.

Knots: “Good to see she’s humble. Not like being arrogant ever caught anyone!”

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster will be watching. Quarterfinals tonight and if they’re hearing about that or watched that interview, that’s all the motivation I think you’d need. Wouldn’t you want to beat Bree Lancaster to win the title at Under Attack?”

Konrad Raab vs. Drake Hemingway

SCW United States Championship Tournament

The lights go out. "Exciter" by Judas Priest plays from the loudspeaker. Steam rises from the stage. Out walks Drake Hemingway accompanied by his maiden Loretta Inglewood. The spotlight shines on them as though they are angels being given to us from the heavens, their aura tells a different story. Both of them walk down to the ring, side by side.

Sharper: “Welcome back ladies and gentleman, another match in store for you tonight in our tournament to see who faces Bree Lancaster for the United States Championship at Under Attack.”

Knots: “Huge opportunity for anyone involved and Bree knows this.”

Sharper: “Her opinions of those involved in this tournament have been well documented but they probably fall on these two deaf ears given their own agenda.”

They reach the ring. Drake walks up the steel steps, walks across the apron. He bends down extending his hand to Loretta, pulling her on the apron, he then opens the ropes for her. She enters the ring first. He follows. Both walk to the center of the ring as the lights come back on. She smirks. He stands there stoically. She exits the ring. He remains, waiting for the match to start.

Sharper: “The SCW fans not fond of these two, all stemming of course from Rise to Greatness when they topped the team of Derek Adonis and Cookie.”

Knots: “Terrible shame that, I was rooting for them. KABLAM spiced up my sex life tenfold, believe me!!”

Cold as Ice by M.O.P plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain just wearing his blue and white mask with white hair along with his wrestling trousers with his nickname The Iceman on the front of them with Pit Bull Energy logos on the side of his trousers with black gloves on both of his hands with a side cross necklace on his neck with the blue and black yin-yang tattoo on his right shoulder, Iceman from X-Men tattoo on his back, Ice wolf on his left chest and ice bear on his right chest.

Phillips: “From Cologne, Germany, he is The Iceman, Konrad Raab!”

He then high fives the fans as he goes up the stairs before going in-between the ropes and does a holdup on each turnbuckle and everyone cheers him as he gets down from the turnbuckle and does a few boxing punches to the cameras before he looks at his opponent waiting for the match to start.

Sharper: “this is going to be an interest contest between these two. It could really go either way.”

Knots: “If Loretta has her way she’ll be making sure it’s Drake.”

The bell sounds off and the SCW fans cheer loudly for Konrad as both men come out of their corners right off the gate. The two lock up only for Drake to drive a stiff knee intothe gut of Raab. He hits another before clubbing down across the back of Konrads neck over and over again. Raab drops to a knee as Drake runs the opposite ropes and connects with a running knee to the side of his head. Raab rolls over and is instantly covered but there isn’t even a one count there much to the relief of fans. Raab shakes his head before rolling to a knee. Drake already up hits another clubbing blow before landing a stiff right hand, he hits another and Raab stumbles back into the ropes much to the pleasure of Loretta.

Sharper: “SCW fans not liking what they’re seeing right off the bat, Loretta however enjoying every minute of this opening.”

Knots: “It’s easy to see why that is, she’s got purity on her side, so she says and he’s kicking Raabs ASS!”

Inside the ring Raab is sent to the ropes and is taken off his feet with a lariat. Drake sneers while looking down at Raab and shakes his head before leaping up and dropping a knee across Konrads chest. Raab winces and tries to roll off but Drake grabs him ad forces to stay in place as he covers.

1… KICK OUT BY RAAB!!

Loretta scowls from the outside like a dog urinated on her cheerios, this causes her to shout something at Drake who nods.

Sharper: “Loretta not happy he hasn’t put Raab away yet, bold thinking if she thinks this will be a walk in the park.”

Knots: “Honestly, I don’t’ think she’s ever taken a walk in the park.”

Drake pulls Raab up and sends him barrelling towards the ropes. The vet hits them hard and makes a return only to spear Drake down to the canvas. He rolls away and back to his feet as Drake forces himself up onto his only to be taken down once again this time with a lariat! The SCW fans cheer Raab he turns around and swings a kick around into the temple of Drake before covering only like before Drake kicks out before the one count. Raab shakes his head and pulls Hemmingway to his feet and hits an uppercut, he hits another which sends Drake to a corner here is where a chop follows and the SCW fans “Wooo” in unison. He hits another causing Drake to wince and try to step out of the corner, but Raab grabs him and pulls him back before planting an elbow to the side of his head.

Knots: “Damn, Raab on the offensive now.”

Sharper: “He was always a focused man in the ring, it was only his issues which spanned from outside it. Now he has both under control is seems and is becoming better for it.”

Raab hits another elbow only to stop from a third as Loretta screams at him, she says something inaudibly to the camera and that’s enough to distract Raab to get an elbow of his own from Drake. The fans boo a little as Raab stumbles along the ropes holding his head when Drake charges at Raab and looks for a running boot, but Raab catches his foot and throws his leg over the top rope. Raab the runs the ropes by a corner and charges at drake from behind before shoulder tackling the back of Hemmingways leg! The Crowd OOOhs as drake cries out in pain holding his knee, but Raab pulls him away from the ropes and covers hooking both legs.

1… KICK OUT BY DRAKE!!

The fan’s boo as Raab rolls off holding his head now with some concern etched on his face, he’s looking at the time and knows it’ll run out soon. Drake winces and rolls away to the ropes where Loretta checks on him to see if he’s okay. Raab is up on his feet and looking to do something, but Loretta tells the ref to make him back up and he does just that before asking Drake if he is okay.

Knots: “That shoulder to the knee took Drake by surprise, but then I think it took everyone by surprise. It isn’t often we get to see Raab this aggressive.”

Sharper: “It isn’t and Raab realizes that now.”

Drake holds his knee still and kicks ut out a little before wincing. The ref asks again if he’d like to continue and Drake nods telling him yes. He pulls himself up, he kicks out his leg again and begins to circle the ring with Raab. Everyones eyes focusing on the ring as Raab charges in now for a grapple, but Drake side steps and attempts a roll up.

1…

2… KICK OUT BY RAAB!

Drake rolls away and to his feet with a smirk while Raab looks across at him realizing he may have been playing possum with his knee. Drake begins to hop from side to side now with a lot more confidence. Raab gets up and scowls a little, the two tying up again with Raab pushing Drake back to the ropes. Loretta watches and shouts something which catches the ref’s attention, in that moment Drake rakes the eyes of Raab to a loud chorus of boo’s from the crowd. Drake smirks and kicks him in the gut doubling him over and lifts Raab up into a suplex before dropping to the canvas in the middle of the ring. Raab winces in pain as he sits up. Drake gets up and quickly runs behind him and drives a boot into the back of Raab which against causes him to shout out in pain. Drake then pushes him down and covers.

1…

2… NO KICK OUT BY RAAB!

Sharper: “Raab staying in this, Drake not liking that one bit.”

Knots: “Neither is Loretta!”

Knots couldn’t be truer as Loretta begins to pace a little back and forth. Drake clubs the head of the Iceman and pulls him up only to get a stiff headbutt for his trouble. Drake stumbles back into the ropes and staggers forward where Raab his an Enziguri taking Drake off his feet, Raab covers.

1…

2… NO KICK OUT BY HEMMINGWAY!!

The crowd sighs and a few boo’s ring out as Raab once again holds his head and sighs, slapping the at he looks at the referee who holds up two fingers. Loretta shouts something at Raab who gets up to his feet and starts to walk over to the ropes where Loretta is and begins pointing and shouting at her. She screams something back at him which he doesn’t like, but doesn’t get to say anything about it when Drake rolls Raab up once again this time hooking the tights.

1…

2………. KICK OUT BY RAAB!!!

The fans see the tights being held but Raab still managed to kick out all the same much to the chagrin of Hemmingway and Loretta. She hits the mat and screams at Drake to finish this match.

Sharper: “Raab almost lost it due to those tights being pulled, but someway, somehow he kicked out and good for him.”

Knots: “He did and these fans love it.”

Raab rolls away only to get a kick to the ribs, he’s kicked again before being brought to his feet. The Crowd starts to rally behind Raab with “Lets Go Konrad” “Purity Sucks” this goes on and one which only angers Loretta more n more as she snaps as some fans in the front row. Drake is a little distracted now which is the opening Raab needed with multiple knees and kicks to the body of Drake. He kicks him more and more, he then sends him into a corner where Drake stumbles out only to run at Raab for a clothesline. Raab however ducks under that attempt and locks his arms around the waist before quickly lifting him up and over into the Frozen Pin.

1…

2….

3!!!

The bell sounds and Drake just kicks out after it, Raab rolls out of the ring and grins before falling into the barrier much to the joy of the SCW fans. Loretta slaps the mat and screams something as the official exits the ring and raises Konrads hand in the air...

Phillips: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this match as result of a pin fall and now advances to the finals… KONRAD RAAB!!!”

The SCW Fans roar once more as Cold as Ice hits over the P.A System, Konrad all smiles as he makes his way towards the ramp. Inside the ring we see Drake sat there slapping the match in frustration while Loretta continues to watch Konrad head backstage.

Backstage, we see Kandis standing with Tommy Valentine and Ryan Watson outside of one of the women’s locker rooms.

Ryan: “Listen, al happily crack him in’t jaw. Al just find him an’ slap him a’bart.”

Tommy: “We’re with you. After that, just you don’t need Ryan. Ryan, focus on your title shot. I’ll watch her-“

Kandis: “Guys. Stop! I’m going to take care of Gavin myself.”

The crowd roars.

Kandis: “This is years in the making and its with me it’s personal. And Tommy’s right, Ry.”

Ryan: “Even a blind squirrel’ll find a nut on occasion.”

Tommy: “What is your problem with me?”

Ryan: “Just makin’ sure she’s got summet good. Not protectin’ her ‘cause y’ can. A trained ‘er an’ am protective.”

Tommy: “Just focus on your title match, man.”

Kandis: “And you should focus on the US Championship Contendership Tournament!”

Tommy and Ryan look at one another.

Kandis: “When he hit me with that gauntlet, don’t worry…I’m ready for Gavin. And tonight, I’ll show it by going after Kim. Ryan, just watch and enjoy. Tommy and I may not get our rematch, but I’ll do something to bring a smile to our face. And then…Gavin can find out that there’s a reason I’m known as being a heartbreaker and it won’t be because we’ve had any fun. I may…he won’t.”

The camera focuses on Kandis as she nods. Tommy and Ryan look at one another.

Ryan: “Whatever ya want. We’ll be cheerinya on.”

Tommy: “Don’t have anything more to add.”

Kandis smiles.

Kandis: “Good.”

She smiles further. The scene fades to black.

Derek Adonis vs. Max Kane

SCW United States Championship Tournament

The arena is silent when all of a sudden Max's Kane voice is heard through the PA system.

KANE!

MAX!

KANE!

"Suck My Kiss" then hits the PA system; the lights flashing in sync with the bass. After a few seconds, Max Kane is propelled from underneath the ramp into the air. The crowd oohs as he then lands on his feet and eyes the crowd. Max yells at the camera before he stands on his feet. Max looks around the crowd as he immediately extends his arms out to the crowd. The young man is sporting a black, silver and gold "Rock N' Roll Unicorn" vest with big spikes on the shoulders, a "Scream Machine" t-shirt underneath and a pair of shades on his face. Max continues yelling towards the camera.

Phillips: “From San Francisco, California, weighing in at two hundred, ten pounds....he is The Rock N' Roll Unicorn.... "MAD" MAX.....KAAAAANE!”

Max walks down to the ring, looking around the crowd. Max once again eyes the camera and smirks as he looks at the ring. He faces the crowd, looking around at everyone while walking past the camera before sliding into the ring. Max stands u and throws his vest onto the mat. He yells to the crowd and motions for them to make some noise. He points to every section of the arena before extending his arms. He then claps his hands, yelling "KANE. MAX. KANE." The crowd responds as he smirks and retreats to the corner and starts moving around, taking off his shirt and vest. He sees the camera and makes a throat slash gesture to the crowd.

Kane: “That's what happening tonight. It's going to be a fight. I'm ready to fight.”

Max grips the top turnbuckle, steeling himself for the match ahead.

Sharper: “Mad Max Kane knows how big of an opportunity this United States contenders tournament is.”

Knots: “People are clamoring to be the one given the chance to knock off Bree and end her reign.”

Sharper: “Sure, Max would love nothing more than to do just that.”

KABLAAAAAAAAAAM!!

The opening horns of “Weird Al” Yankovic’sWanna B Ur Lovr” begin to play out over the crowd, meaning the crowd is about to be “graced” by the presence of a living love machine – the man known as Derek Adonis! And there he is! Stepping out amidst spotlights of every colour of the rainbow alongside Cookie, the man’s outfit radiates light against a few blacklights slipped in, and he is completely oblivious to his detractors, basking in the glow of the spotlight as he begins his sensual stride towards the ring

Phillips: “And his opponent, in the form of a 270 pounds of delightful sexiness, the patron of the sin city, DEREK ADONIS!”

If you’re so inclined, you should check out the lyrics to the song that Adonis is entering to, because they really paint their own tapestry almost as well as the man himself is able to, stopping at various points on his walk down towards the ring to hit on some of the more attractive females in the area – without caring about the potential of boyfriends, husbands or security. He’ll take their hand, whisper sweet nothings to them (and, if you’ve seen girls at shows put in this kind of embarrassing situation, these do the same as all of them – and just laugh) and plant his lips ever so gently upon said hand before moving farther down the ramp.

Sharper: “Former Television Champion, Derek Adonis is too excited for this opportunity.”

Knots: “He’s joined Cookie! I think that’s the fans’ favorite thing about Derek.”

Sharper: “When he’s on his game, he’s a dangerous man. People like to overlook Derek but as I said, he has had success in the past.”

As the chorus comes around, Adonis steps up the ramp, taking each step with added emphasis. He gets onto the apron and after winking at a particularly friendly female (probably the most receptive to advances of earlier), pulls himself through the ropes. He gyrates just a little bit in the ring (it’s better than his twerking – trust me) as his music fades. Max Kane steps up to him, rolls his shoulders and stare down Derek Adonis.

Sharper: “This is not the only tournament Max Kane is involved with his week. Max Kane advanced in the first round of God of Wrestling and will be competing this Saturday in the second round of the God of Wrestling… live on twitch, starting seven PM eastern standard.”

Knots: “Great shout out there, Adam, but you have to wonder, with two big tournaments to concern, is Kane going to be on point?”

Sharper: “A lot of opportunities, but you raise a valid point. Derek Adonis might have become overlooked in this match when you’re facing Josh Hudson later in the week.”

The bell rings. Kane charges forward but bounces right off the much larger Derek Adonis. Kane stumbles back and backpedals into the ropes and comes running forward. Again, his shoulder block is pushed back by Derek’s girth. Kane quickly regains his footing but Derek clubs him with a forearm, another forearm. Kane ducks underneath the third and begins to fire his own forearms when Derek turns around. Derek staggers backward before Kane backs up and takes to the air with a crossbody takedown. Derek pushes Kane off and rolls over to his side as Cookie slaps the apron, cheering on support. Kane with a stomp to the ribs of Derek. He backs up and as Derek gets up on one knee, Kane strikes with a front dropkick. The impact sends Derek stumbling over to the corner, falling into a reclined position. Kane’s face lights up as he backs up and lines up his trajectory.

Sharper: “Early going, Kane is delivering that explosive offense he’s known for.”

Knots: “Is Kane lining up for the cannonball? Back in the day, we wouldn’t let guys like Derek Adonis cannonball into the pool.”

Kane hurtles forward towards Derek. Cannonball! But Derek amazingly jumps out of the way and Kane gets nothing but turnbuckle. Kane is not upside down, wrapped up in the corner. Derek stands and instead of trying to help free Kane, he delivers some kicks his way. Finally, Kane falls into a more natural position in the corner. Derek pulls him up, licks the side of his hand and delivers a powerful knife edge chop across Kane’s chest. Kane yells in pain. Derek pulls back his arm for another chop. Kane fights back with some rapid-fire open-handed punches, knocking Derek back towards the center of the ring. Kane steps back and charges forward, right into a powerslam by Derek. Derek hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Powerslam… now pin!”

1…

2…

Sharper: “Kane gets the shoulder up after two.”

Knots: “I expected a little more dancing from Derek but he’s focused on winning this match.”

Sharper: “Winner advances in this tournament to determine who gets to be the number one contender for the United States Championship. Big opportunity for both men.”

Derek allows for Kane to get up to his. Kane turns to search for Derek and he’s scooped up and slammed onto the canvas. Derek proceeds to climb the turnbuckle. He gyrates his hips for the middle rope before standing up onto the top. He turns and looks down at Kane. He goes for a splash but Kane rolls out of the way. Adonis bounces off the canvas with a thud. He’s back up on his feet instantly, holding his torso. Kane is up now, runs past the ailing Derek and then springboards, he catches Derek with the running cutter.

Sharper: “Derek crashes and burns. Kane with the running cutter! The pin by Max Kane!”

1…

2…

Sharper: “Not enough.”

Knots: “We found out right there why big men don’t typically get all highflying on us. With that weight, tt’s painful when you don’t have your opponent to cushion your fall.”

Sharper: “You can see Mad Max Kane calculating. You have to wonder if he’s thinking he needs to end this match as soon as possible to avoid wearing him out before the weekend.”

Knots: “Maybe. But this is Max Kane? Is he thinking about winning? Or is he thinking about pulling off some crazy stunt to woo the fans?”

Derek rolls over on his hands and knees. Max Kane steps backs into the ropes and jumps with a double stomp onto the arch of Derek’s back. Cookie screams something at Max. Derek pushes himself back up and there’s another double stomp. Derek rolls out to the apron. Cookie checks on him and Derek nods to her that’s he’s all right. He begins to pull himself up onto the ropes. Max Kane travels the full distance of the ring back, and flies through the middle of the ropes, spearing Derek to the outside of the ring. The crowd pops.

Sharper: “Max Kane is at it again!”

Knots: “Cookie almost got caught in the crossfire.”

Sharper: “Thankfully, she stepped out of the way at the last minute. Now she’s watching as her husband is hurting on the outside.”

Both Derek and Kane are sprawled out on the floor. The referee begins to count both men out. Derek uses the guard rail to get up. Kane is up first and there’s an elbow to the side of Derek’s skull. He pulls back his hand and chops Derek. Kane takes Derek’s head and smashes it against the ring apron. Derek fires back with a mule kick to the midsection. Derek spins around, connecting with a forearm to Kane. Kane staggers back. Derek lifts him up and scoopslams him on the thin floor mats. Derek then strolls up the ring steps as Kane withers in pain on the floor. He walks across the apron and looks down. Derek Adonis jumps with the big splash onto Kane on the outside and the crowd begins to cheer again.

Sharper: “You don’t expect that out of Derek Adonis! He’s pulling out all the stops.”

Knots: “They need to start thinking about the referee. They’re counting them both out.”

Sharper: “Derek rubbings his knees. That splash isn’t very good for your knees would be my takeway. They’re both stirring on the outside, trying to get back up.”

By the seventh count, Derek is leaning over the apron with Kane using the apron to pull him up. Derek takes Kane by the back of the neck and rolls him in underneath the bottom rope. Derek then climbs up and enters the ring to stop the referee’s count. Kane begins to crawl towards the center of the ring and Derek comes running forward and drops with all his weight onto the upper back of Kane. Derek positions himself in front of the pancaked Kane and locks in a front facelock. He forces Kane up onto his feet and goes for a suplex but Kane floats over, then drives the back of Derek’s head with a reverse DDT.

Sharper: “Max Kane with a beautiful counter there!”

Knots: “We really see the effort here, haven’t we?”

Sharper: “Big opportunity as we said multiple times already.”

Kane is first to his feet. He stumbles over to Derek and pulls him into a seated position. Kane swings his head back and delivers a headbutt right to Derek’s. He does it again and the referee then intervenes. Kane drops Derek onto the canvas and climbs. He points towards the corner to which the crowd cheers loudly.

Sharper: “Is Kane looking to end it after those unprotected headbutts?”

Knots: “BFG Time?”

Sharper: “Here he goes!”

Kane charges, jumping up onto the second rope first, popping up than to the top rope, and then takes flight, going for the BFG but Derek Adonis rolls out of the way. Max Kane crashes and burns. He bounced a few times before getting up to his feet, holding himself in pain, he then falls back into the corner. Derek sees this, musters up all his strength, explodes forward to crash into Max Kane with the KABLAM! Kane stumbles forward out from the corner and drops down onto the canvas where Derek pushes him over.

Sharper: “KABLAAAAM!”

Knots:” KABLAAM!”

Sharper: “The pin!”

1….

2….

3!

Sharper: “Derek Adonis advances!”

Knots: “Mad Max Kane almost had it but he crashed and burned, and Derek used that opportunity to take home the victory. Look at Cookie, she’s more than happy for Derek.”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and moving on in the tournament, Derek Adonis!”

Kane rolls over in pain as Adonis gets up and looks around. The official quickly raises his arm to signify him as the winner before turning back to check on Kane. Adonis looks around and celebrates a bit, joined by Cookie.

Sharper: “Backstage, Spirit Dansby is standing by with James Evans. Spirit?”

The scene cuts backstage to see Spirit Dansby in the backstage area with James Evans standing outside of one locker room.

Spirit: “Thank you Adam and yes, I, unfortunately, am with James Evans.”

James turns to her.

Spirit: “You needed help at Apocalypse and before you try anything, I have security here. I wasn’t going to take this interview without someone around.”

James: “You don’t need to worry about me.”

Spirit: “Given what you’ve said about the Beauty Factory, I’d prefer it. Either way, you needed help to do what you claimed you could do yourself. You needed help to beat Chris Cannon at Apocalypse!”

James: “Look, I don’t know who those people were and I’m not thrilled they got involved. The fact that they injured Chris doesn’t make me feel great either. Especially since I’d rather have done that myself. But my attention right now is on something else. The World Championship. Where I can take on all of those other frauds and some people who may actually give me the fight I want. From Syren to Sienna….to Glory to Alistaire to Owen. And whoever those people are...that came out to attack Chris….at least they’re not getting into the Chamber. So you can have all of the problems with me. And you can ignore what I’m saying now. But while I’ll take those people that came out, if they show up again, they’ll need to deal with me too. But when it matters…Under Attack…they’re not going to be a factor. And I will return to the upper echelon of this sport by becoming World Champion again!”

Spirit: “And what if Clyde Sutter takes you out…”

James smirks. Spirit backs up a bit.

James: “I’m looking forward to this match.”

James turns and walks off. Spirit watches him leave and then take a deep breath before we cut to commercial.

Breakdown returns to see Sienna with Laura backstage, the camera filming from down the hallway, presumably out of sight from where they can see it.

Laura: “Look, this…we have a way-“

Sienna: “No…just…we have the match. I can beat them. It’s Chamber…it’s not great. It’s barbaric and just shows yet again, that this company doesn’t care. That Sasha has something out for me. I should have the World Championship shot one on one. But…”

Laura: “Are you sure?”

Sienna: “Yes…The rewards are obvious. And it shows how badly they want to keep me down. I’ll make them suffer for it…but I have something. Check it out…”

Sienna holds up her phone in front of Laura. Laura starts to smile.

Laura: “This will be good.”

Sienna: “If it works…I’m going to find out.”

Laura: “Try it. Can’t hurt.”

Sienna: “Go enjoy the show with Bree. I’ll be fine.”

Laura: “You sure. I can come with.”

Sienna: “No. I need to do this one on one.”

Laura: “Alright…”

Sienna smiles as Laura turns and heads off. Sienna looks at the phone as we cut away.

Sharper: “What does Sienna have?”

Knots: “I don’t know. But it can’t be good.”

El Lucho Brothers in action

The arena goes dark and the opening riff of “Escribe Una Canción” starts to play. As the intro pauses, the sound of a shotgun being cocked is heard. As the music kicks back in, headlamps appear through the curtain and a tiny coffee truck drives out onto the stage. The lights raise as the tuk tuk pauses at the top of the ramp and while Nate Patrick is behind the wheel, El Lucho Grande and El Lucho Venti are actually holding onto the sides of the truck, throwing coffee beans around, which some of the fans try to catch. Nate beeps the horn a couple times then sets off driving down the ramp slowly, as Grande and Venti continue to toss beans out.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. From Soconusco in Mexico, driven to the ring by Nate Patrick, they are the team of El Lucho Grande and El Lucho Venti, The Lucho Brothers!”

The tuk tuk reaches the bottom of the ramp and Grande and Venti jump down from the sides and open the panels up to reveal a coffee machine and several coffees already waiting. The cups have the Lucho Brothers logo on them and Grande and Venti begin to hand them out to fans at ringside as Nate climbs out of the cab and shuts the door behind him. Eventually, Nate manages to turn them towards the ring and the masked mystery men slide in and play up to the fans as Nate settles in at ringside. We then see two larger men, both wearing black singlets.

Phillips: “Their opponents, from Amarillo, Texas, they are Joe Gobles and Steve Harris!”

The crowd boos. Venti and Grande look at one another as they turn to the larger men. The bell sounds.

Knots: “Where the hell are our coffees?”

Sharper: “Guess all business. Some significant challenges against them. Gobles and Harris are big men.”

Venti and Grande look at one another and Grande starts. Grande stretches out and walks around the ring as Harris starts for the opposing team. Harris moves in and Grande and him lock up with a collar and elbow tie-up. They push back one on one another and Grande moves into a side headlock. He turns through in the arm and then pulling him up with a hammerlock. Harris fights and Grande ducks down and goes for a hip toss. He tries to take him up, but Harris smirks and blocks it. Grande tries again and Harris blocks it. Grande then tags in Venti. Venti jumps in with a slingshot dropkick. Grande watches him drop and Venti goes for the pin.

Harris kicks out. Harris rolls over and starts to get up. Venti kicks him in the ribs and grabs the arm. He wrenches it and runs to the corner and jumps to the middle rope and spins through and into a twisting arm drag. Harris rolls over and crawls to his partner, tagging in Gobles.

Sharper: “The agility. The lucha libre. It gets Harris down!”

Knots: “And in comes Gobles. Time for the other big guy to stop coffee relations worldwide!”

Gobles enters and looks at Venti. Venti looks around and Gobles moves forward and throws a hard right. Venti ducks. Gobles throws a left. Venti backs up and ducks again. Gobles throws another right. Venti ducks again and backs up and Grande tags in. Gobles lunges and Grande nails him with a hard right. Grande enters as Gobles stumbles back. Grande runs at him and spins through with a school boy.

1!

2!

Gobles kick out. Both get up and Grande hits a dropkick. Gobles hits the mat. He rolls over and turns and moves to the ropes. Grande grabs him and goes to whip him across, but Gobles spins through and Grande bounces off and Gobles hits a flapjack. The crowd ohs and Gobles turns and tags in Harris. Harris enters and runs at Grande and goes for a running splash, but Grande rolls out of the way. Gobles then runs at him and goes for a splash on him. Grande rolls to the apron.

Sharper: “Gobles and Harris trying to squash El Lucho Grande!”

Knots: “He’s rolling like its going out of style!”

Grande gets up and Gobles and Harris get up and step forward and Grande slingshots into the ring with a shoulder tackle on both. The crowd roars. Patrick applauds frantically as Grande gets up. We then notice on the floor, next to the stage, as the camera cuts to the area to show what appears to be Ruby Amarant with another female watching.

Knots: “Is that Ruby Amarant?”

Sharper: “I think it is. That’s not Scarlet Grey! She’s with someone else and they’re watching.”

Back in the ring, we see Grande get up and dropkicks Gobles down before getting up and dropkicking Harris down. Grande turns and tags in Venti. Venti climbs up to the top rope. Harris starts to get up and Venti dives off with a high crossbody.

1!

2!

Harris kicks out. Venti rolls off and Grande runs over and as Gobles gets up, Grande hits a running European uppercut. Gobles goes up and over. He turns and Venti throws his arms up. Harris stirs as Venti hits a running basement dropkick to the knees. Harris falls to the mat.

Sharper: “Venti and Grande controlling the ring. They’re calling for something.”

Knots: “Better be a latte. I could use one!”

Venti and Grande then turn and run into the ropes, bounce off and hit the Amigos y enemigos v1. The crowd ohs. Venti goes for the pin on Harris as Grande runs over to the ropes and kicks at Gobles as he stirs.

1!

2!

3!

The crowd roars. Ruby turns to her friend before they walk away and to the back. Back in the ring, Nate Patrick enters the ring before running over to El Lucho Venti and El Lucho Grande and raising their arms.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, El Lucho Brothers!”

Sharper: “El Lucho Brothers with another emphatic win!”

Knots: “No coffee though! What the hell?!”

Sharper: “Ruby Amarant meanwhile interested. Hopefully Jessica Winters or Spirit Dansby can track her down.”

Grande and Venti celebrate, pumping their fists as Patrick points to them and their music plays. Gobles and Harris remain down as the crowd cheers El Lucho Brothers and we cut away.

Sharper: “It seems that Spirit Dansby is with someone else, the next challenger for the SCW Television Champion, Abigail Lindsay.”

Backstage, we see a female figure walking away from the interview as Spirit Dansby watches her leave before turning to Abigail Lindsay who smiles.

Spirit: “Abigial…who was that?”

Abigail: “Don’t worry about it.”

Spirit: “She was talking to you. Is this a new member of Infamous?”

Abigail: “No. Now…focus on me.”

Spirit: “Well, uh, Abigail, nothing seemed to be solved at Apocalypse. Glory Braddock and you fighting to a no contest. But now, Glory is in the World Championship Chamber match at Under Attack, while you are seemingly following whatever Dark Fantasy says. And now you’re smiling. You’re just smiling at me.”

Abigail is indeed smiling at Spirit. Spirit looks at her a bit uneasy before Abigail leans in.

Abigail: “Don’t worry…see, while Glory can have her fun, so will I. And tonight…we’ll have a little something for me and I’ll make sure I find a little something for Ravyn too.”

Abigail turns and walks off as Spirit watches her leave. The crowd buzzes a bit, while some boo as the scene slowly fades to black.

Breakdown returns as we see Ruby Amarant and her female friend walking down one of the hallways.

???: “Hey! Ruby!”

We see Jessica Winters jogging over. Ruby stops and turns and stops Jessica.

Ruby: “Ruby Amarant is dead. A past life. You can call me Valeria Garcia.”

Jessica: “But-“

Valeria: “That’s what I prefer to go by now. And this…this is Maria Vencejo. Together, we are Las Bandidas de Gata Negra.”

Jessica: “I don’t understand…why the change? What about Scarlet?”

Maria just looks on as Valeria shakes her head.

Valeria: “Not something of your concern.”

Jessica turns as we see Scarlet Grey coming into view, seemingly having the same idea as Jessica. Valeria looks at Scarlet. The two just look at one another before Scarlet just nods. Valeria continues to look at her as Maria watches from behind Valeria. Scarlet then walks past her and walks off as Valeria watches her leave. Maria then puts her hand on Valeria’s shoulder. The two ten walk off as Jessica looks on, unsure of what to do or say and we cut away.

BELIEVE IT!

The crowd rises to their feet as “The Truth About Our Time” by Allen/Lande as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost. She doesn’t play to the crowd instead walking down the rampway and bee-lining it to the ring.

Sharper: “Selena Frost all business and I know there is a lot on her mind.”

Knots: “She’s already called out Xander. She’s already said she wants to face him tonight! Given what Xander’s been doing, he could be in Oklahoma!”

Sharper: “Regardless, next week, when we’re in Vancouver, Xander won’t be there. He won’t be able to cross the border.”

Selena walks down to the ring. She then walks over to the steel steps and runs p them. She walks along the apron and steps into the ring. She walks across the ring. Ring announcer Jason Phillips walks to the ring and Selena asks for a microphone. Phillips extends one to her and Selena takes it and walks back over to the middle of the ring. She paces a bit as her music fades out. The crowd cheers a bit as Selena, surprisingly, doesn’t respond to them.

Sharper: “Selena completely focused on Xander.”

Knots: “She hears the fans. That’s for sure.”

Selena turns and looks up.

Selena: “Sorry, True Believers, but I’m going to admit I’m out here for a very selfish reason. Xander Valentine came to this ring and tried to take me out, offended just by who I am. Just like when he attacked some of you several weeks back. This coming after he’s threatened my family, threatened friends, threatened fans…”

Selena looks up at the camera.

Selena: “Yeah. I could be angry that he ruined the match I had with Sienna. That we solved nothing. That instead, we need to hear Sienna continue to delude herself to the point that she represents nothing of the friend I had years ago. But that’s just noise. Because Xander, I am focused on you.”

Selena paces a bit as the crowd roars a bit.

Selena: “See, you continued to disrespect everything going on in this sport, in this promotion, from what Sasha is trying to do, to the people who stepped up and replaced you years ago, to the security who attempted to protect the fans and talent when you’ve proven time and time again you have no respect for them. Well, Xander, I have zero respect for you. And I realize that you’re suspended…”

Selena pauses as she looks down for a moment, clearly thinking her words through. A roar from the crowd in support follows.

Selena: “The problem is I just don’t give a damn anymore. I called you out on twitter. I know you’re sitting there, now turning into a pathetic keyboard warrior. I want to end this in the ring and prove yet again, just like when I knocked you out at Rise to Greatness that you are NOT going to dominate this sport ever again! It’s moved on. And you need to too!”

As Selena speaks this, we see Sasha walking down to the ring.

Sharper: “Sasha is coming to the ring. Selena calling out Xander again.”

Knots: “They need to be careful. Xander could be here. He could be in the arena. Near the arena. He’s been almost stalking the show!”

Sasha walks to the ring as Selena looks at her.

Selena: “Sasha…I already know what you’re going to say. But this…this is about more than just me. I know I’m even selfish about asking it. But too many people are suffering because of him. And if I have to knock him out again, I damn sure will!”

Sasha walks up the steel steps and enters into the ring. Selena extends the microphone to her. Sasha steps in and turns it down. She can be seen saying something to Selena. The camera angle changes to a closer one to pick up what Selena is saying.

Sasha: “Selena, you know this puts me in an awful position.”

Selena: “Do whatever you need to. I’ll sign whatever you need me to. Xander I know wants this.”

Sasha: “It’s the precedent. I know my father would do this.”

Selena: “He needs to pay.”

Sasha: “That’s why the courts exist.”

Selena: “I-“

Sasha: “And you have God of Wrestling. I’m not going to taint more with him. Sorry Selena…”

Selena just looks down, the microphone at her side.

Sasha: “Sorry.”

Sasha then turns and motions to the ropes. Selena looks at Sasha. She then brings the microphone to her mouth and looks at the fans.

Selena: “Sorry too…”

Selena turns and puts the microphone down. She sighs and looks at Sasha. Sasha just shrugs and says sorry again as Selena steps through the ropes. She steps forward, running her hands through her hair as she looks at the back, clearly biting her tongue and hiding her irritation. Sasha watches her briefly before stepping through the ropes too and dropping down to the floor. The cameras continue to focus on Selena as she heads to the back.

Backstage, Glory Braddock is seen walking down one of the hallways, looking down. The crowd cheers seeing her. She takes a few more steps before stopping. She then looks up as Mason van Stanton walks forward with Clyde Sutter following him a few steps behind.

Glory: “Mason….Clyde.”

Clyde smiles.

Mason: “No need for this to curt. Just walking in the same place.”

Glory: “Too bad that’s the case.”

Clyde: “Come on now. You helped me get here.”

Glory: “Against my better judgment.”

Clyde: “Awww, come on now. I’m going to take out one of your opponents in the Chamber. I could be your best friend.”

Glory: “Unlikely.”

Glory then steps past Mason and Clyde. Clyde smirks as his eyes follow her before we cut to the ring.

Abigail Lindsay vs. Peyton Rice

SCW Television Championship

A loud purrrrrrrrrring engine can be heard from somewhere in the arena. The chorus of "Wreak Havoc" by Skylar Grey begins the play. Suddenly, a motorcycle burst from backstage. It stops at the top of the ramp, the person driving the motorcycle briefly takes off her helmet, revealing herself to be Abigail Lindsay.

Phillips: “From Los Angeles, California, weighing in at one hundred and fifty-five pounds, Abigail “Serenity” Lindsay.

She places the helmet back on and drives down to the ringside area. She circles the ring twice. The bike comes to a halt. Serenity slides off, takes off her helmet. She hops on the apron apron, proving how flexible she is she lifts one leg off, then drops down in a full split. she slides under the bottom rope. She slumps down into the corner waiting for the match to start.

Sharper: “Here comes the challenger, Abigail Lindsay and after RTG XVI we have seen her alliance with Infamous grow, after what happened to Jordan Majors, Abigail now looks for some gold and Peyton Rice is the first on tap, no strangers to one another.”

Knots: “She orchestrated the attack on Peyton and allowed Infamous to come down and jump her right before RTG XVI. Syren wanted to soften up Alistaire Allocco, that really didn’t work but Peyton remembers and that will be key in this match.”

The arena goes dark before a lone spotlight shines on the entrance, suddenly the opening beats to “All The Days" by Mammoth play throughout the arena as the beautiful Peyton Rice walks out in wrestling gear and jacket. Her long dark blonde hair hanging down. She looks around at the crowd before getting to one knee and making a line across the entrance, she crosses her arms and lowers her head for a moment before standing up and pointing to the ring as the crowd roars.

With her gorgeous and contagious smile, Peyton starts to walk to the ring, stopping and pulling off some high fiving the fans and taking selfies with them. She continues to head to the ring soaking up the reaction before hopping into the apron and pointing the crowd before flipping over the top rope as the crowd roars and stepping on the second rope, raising her arms and looking up, she then thanks the fans while being announced….

Phillips: “From Glendale, Arizona! Weighing in at 115 pounds, here is “Pretty” Peyton Rice!”

The crowd roars as she flips from the second rope on to her feet and does a cartwheel. She takes off her jacket and ruffles her hair a little, standing in the corner and awaiting for the match to begin…..

Sharper: “And here is the Television Champion, the beautiful Peyton Rice, she has really captivated the fans with her TV Title run so far and while it may end tonight or continue, she has established herself now as a force here in the SCW.”

Knots: “The young movement is coming along, Owen is World Champion, Alistaire was, huge win for Aaron Blackbourne over Syren at Apocalypse, now Peyton Rice, pretty exciting times in SCW and yeah…. Peyton reminds me a lot of my wife in the ring and she is approaching her TV Title defense record, second only to Ravyn. I miss Kennie in the ring, but the Hollywood fame is nice, I get invited to all the parties.”

Peyton and Abigail both get checked by the referee, he then nods and calls for the bell and the start of the match. Peyton and Abigail circle the ring, quickly locking up, Peyton drops to a knee to get the leverage on the taller Abigail, pushing her back to the ropes as the referee is about to administer a count but Peyton let’s go. Abigail smirks, they circle the ring again, they quickly lock up, this time Abigail uses her leverage to back Peyton to the ropes, she thinks for a second as the referee starts to count…

1….

2….

3….

Abigail breaks the hold clean and backs up smiling again, this time she extends her hand out for a shake, but Peyton quickly slaps it away and circles the ring. Abigail nods and they both lock up again, this time Peyton tries to get the leverage, Abigail grabs her by the ponytail and quickly slams her to the ground, she looks at the referee and acts like she did nothing wrong, Peyton gets up tugging her hair to the referee and staring daggers into Abigail.

Sharper: “Abigail is playing mind games right now, toying with Peyton but she didn’t fall for the handshake.”

Knots: “No she did not, she brushed it off but knows that hair pull was Abi’s response to what Peyton did. This woman has a screen door in her submarine, Sharper.”

Abigail circles the ring again, Peyton goes to lock up, Abigail grabs her in a headlock, Peyton pushes off, Abigail bounces off the ropes, goes for a clothesline, Peyton ducks, springboards off the other side, catching Abi in a moonsault as she came back, the crowd roars as Lindsay gets up, Peyton with a Hurricarana taking Abi over and followed by an Enzinguiri the second Abigail stands up causing her to fall over the ropes and to the floor! The crowd cheers, Abigail gets up and Peyton runs toward her with a Suicide Plancha! The crowd roars as Peyton gets up and screams to the fans. The referee starts the count….

Sharper: “Peyton starting fast with the high-risk maneuvers! She is not wasting anytime, and the young lady is focused, we heard what she said, this match is about more than just the TV title, she didn’t care too much for the attack before RTG!”

Knots: “She needs to stay on Abigail, it’s a credit to her though, she has been through so much and between Ali and Owen? That must’ve been rough, I mean for Ali….”

Sharper: “Stop. Owen and her are just friends.”

Knots: “With benefits.”

(1)Peyton grabs Abigail by the hair, she slams her head into the mat a few times (2) Trying to roll her back into the ring but Abigail turns and rakes her eyes, whipping her into the barricade but Peyton reverses (3), Abi hits hard on the barricade. Peyton goes to grab Abi and break the count. (4) She rolls her in right at the count of five. (5) Peyton hops on the Apron, she waits for Abigail to stand up, Peyton is about to hop on the top rope but Abi runs at it and knocks her off, she lands awkwardly on her back in pain, Abigail quickly picks her up by the hair and plants a vicious Springboard DDT!

Sharper: “That’s Peyton’s Finisher! How embarrassing that would be for the young woman to lose to her own hold!”

Knots: “Abigail is vicious! She doesn’t care, she wants to humiliate Peyton. She’s going for a cover!”

Abigail signals to the referee with a sink, dropping down and lays on Peyton for the cover….

1!

2!

Peyton Kicks Out!

Abigail looks a little surprised, shrugging her shoulders and forearming the down Peyton a few times. She finally picks her up, whips her into the turnbuckle and follows with a powerful clothesline and then quickly a bulldog. Abigail yells at the ref, running against the ropes and dropping the leg for the cover…

1!

2!

Kick Out by Peyton!

Abigail again smirks and shakes her head; she leans in and plants a big wet kiss on Peyton causing the young Rice to push her off but distracting her as Abigail runs hitting a Shining Wizard flush on Peyton!

Sharper: “Three devastating holds and right now, Peyton’s title is in trouble!”

Knots: “The girl is resilient, but I don’t know how much she can take!”

Abigail looks down on Peyton, laying on her and driving the forearm into her face for the cover….

Peyton Gets the Shoulder up!

Abigail now looks a little more annoyed, she picks up Peyton by the hair, forearms her a few times and hooks her from behind, Peyton quickly shoots off a couple of elbows, knocking Abigail back some, she stumbles, Peyton quickly hits a Pele Kick as the crowd roars, Abigail falls to the mats, Peyton shakes off her injuries and runs at her as Abigail gets up, she connects with the Snowbird!

Sharper: “She almost cut Abigail in half! What a spear!”

Knots: “Peyton got all of that! She might be done here!”

As the crowd cheers, Peyton drops down to her knees for the cover…

3… No!

Abigail Kicks Out! Peyton grabs Abi but she thrusts her thumb right into Peyton’s eye, she stumbles back and Abi hits a neck breaker. The crowd boos as Abigail picks up Peyton by the hair, slaps her a few times before hoisting her up on the top rope, Abigail then climbs up too….

Sharper: “Abigail maybe going for something big! We could have a new TV Champion!”

Knots: “This does not look good; it will be a crash and burn!”

Abigail gets her up, she then stands on the top rope with Peyton, she hooks her for what seems to be a Spanish Fly, the crowd roars, some boo but Peyton elbows Abigail, over and over, Peyton then swings around her head, butting it into the side of Abigail’s face! She stumbles and falls flat on her back, Peyton looks to the crowd and without any hesitation just as Abigail is trying to get up, she hits The Pretty Girl Drop! The crowd roars…

Sharper: “Pretty Girl Drop and she landed on Abigail trying to get up! She may have hurt her!”

Knots: “It’s academic now!”

Peyton hooks the leg as the crowd counts with her….

The referee calls for the bell as Peyton roll off Abigail and lays there for a moment before sitting up, the referee hands her the TV Title and raises her arm up….

Phillips: “The winner of the match and Still SCW Television Champion….. PEYTON RICE!”

All the Days” by Mammoth starts to play as Peyton gets to her feet and slowly climbs the second turnbuckle, holding up the title. The crowd cheers, Abigail rolls over holding her ribs….

Sharper: “Peyton gets a little bit of revenge here, what a great match and title defense for that young woman who is sky rocketing up the rankings here in the SCW.”

Knots: “They were sleeping on her and she showed why she never lost that EMERGE Championship. Peyton took advantage of a mistake and she capitalized.”

Peyton continues to celebrate, Abigail finally tries to get up to her feet when the crowd starts to buzz, Jordan Majors comes limping out from the back as quick as she can, the fans cheer, Peyton turns just as Jordan hits a Lou Thesz Press on Abigail and starts raining fists on Lindsay who is trying to cover up, the referee tries to stop her in enough time for Abigail to roll out of the ring and starts running up the ramp…..

Sharper: “Jordan Majors injured by Ravyn a few weeks back and she came out here limping, attacking Abigail!”

Knots: “All I saw was a hobbling pink streak! She took it to Abi and whoa…. Wait…. In the ring.”

Jordan screams at Abigail to return, slowly turning around and is face to face with Peyton Rice. The two stare at each other for a moment before Jordan nods and rolls out of the ring. Peyton watches her closely as “All the Days” by Mammoth start to play in the arena…

Knots: “There is no love lost between those two and you saw the stare down, Jordan left, and here I thought we were about to see another match.”

Sharper: “Jordan coming in and not surprising after the attack by Ravyn, she wanted a piece of Abigail and she got it. Peyton retains.”

Peyton continues to stare at Jordan who makes her way to the back. As Peyton watches her, we notice someone on the floor watching the ring, namely Damian Angel on the floor. He turns and walks to the back.

Sharper: “Was that Damian Angel?”

Knots: “I think it was!”

Sharper: “What is he doing?”

Knots: “I don’t know. But can’t be good.”

Peyton returns to celebrating.

Backstage, Rachel Tatum Lee is seen backstage walking in the backstage area. The crowd cheers seeing her. She takes a few more steps before knocking on the door of the office of Sasha. She waits before turning as Sasha comes, not from her office, but from down the hallway.

Sasha: “Rachel…what can I do for you?”

Rachel: “Seems ya busy.”

Sasha: “Always have to be. But I can take a moment.”

Rachel: “Just thinkin’. I look at dis lil tournament here and I get some of em. But Kane…”

Sasha: “Outside of his match against you, he’s been competing well and making some waves.”

Rachel: “And yet mah win…I know ya don’t have a soft spot fer Bree.”

Sasha: “On paper Bree facing you would be a great match. But you know as well as anyone, you’ve been out of the ring for a while, and you’ve only had three matches. Two singles matches. Yes, they’ve all been impressive. But I want to make sure you’re ready to go in there to be a champion.”

Rachel: “So then what do I gotta do to prove it?”

Sasha: “You know the answer to that…win. And keep doing it. Remove any doubt. Show you’re back to being Rachel Tatum Lee. Make it so I’m not thinking those were lucky starts. That I can’t make the excuse that that war with Lohan, you needed the motivation. Or with Kane, it wasn’t just one match.”

Rachel: “So ya want me ta kick ass and if I do, I can get mah hands on Bree?”

Sasha: “Pretty much. And the US title potentially.”

Rachel: “Exactly…”

Sasha stops for a moment and turns to her.

Sasha: “Why are you going after Bree?”

Rachel: “Rubs me tha wrong way. The gold is a nice addition. But where I come from…pull somethin’ like the Boston Bree Party…ya get yer ass beat.”

The crowd roars. Rachel nods.

Rachel: “That’s fer clearin’ things up.”

Sasha: “Anytime.”

Rachel walks off as Sasha turns to her office and steps inside as the scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns as we see Jordan Majors pacing, limping, backstage as Spirit Dansby is with her.

Spirit: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Spirit Dansby here with Jordan Majors who just returned after a few weeks away trying to recover from a leg injury caused by Ravyn-“

Jordan steps over to her.

Jordan: “Sorry Spirit. But I’m not going to just wait. Abigail, I hope you enjoyed being used as the message this time. Ravyn…I’m eying you!”

The crowd roars as Jordan backs up and limps away as Spirit watches her leave.

Clyde Sutter vs. James Evans

The lights in the arena go out as the opening chords of “Unforgiven” by Metallica begins to play.  As the song picks up its pace a spotlight shines at the top of the ramp and we see “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter standing there with a sinister grin on his face.  He is flanked by his agent, Mason Van Stanton, who smirks arrogantly out at the crowd who showers both men with booing and jeering.  After a few moments of soaking in the crowd reaction, which he seems to enjoy despite their booing, Sutter begins his slow walk down the ramp, with Van Stanton following closely behind.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, accompanied by Mason von Stanton, from Raleigh, North Carolina, he is the Assassin, Clyde Sutter!”

The spotlight follows the sinister sociopath as he approaches the ring; Sutter then foregoes the steel steps as he leaps up from the floor to the ring apron.  Mason applauds from the outside as he uses the steel steps to join his client on the ring apron.  With the spotlight remaining only on them as one of the few lights in the arena at the moment, Sutter and Van Stanton enter the ring and then stand in the center.  Van Stanton applauds his client while the fans continue to show their displeasure.  The sound of Metallica dies down and the lights come back on.

Sharper: “We’ve already seen Sutter earlier. The Assassin having a run-in with the British Bombshell, Glory Braddock.”

Knots: “Knew there was some connection, but looks like Glory is the reason he’s here and Clyde Sutter looks to be enjoying this one. He gets to have a fight.”

The opening of “Door to Door Cannibals" can be heard blaring through the PA system.  The camera will pan through the curtain as the face of James Evans appears, igniting a positive reaction from the crowd, as they shower him in cheers. The camera remains on James as he breaks through the curtain. The cheers intensify as James looks out at the crowd.

"Your name isn't proud demented man
Hold tight to the lie you sold to them
Take God and the case below
It falls on the day with much to learn
But you didn't get it
No you didn't get it
But you didn't get it
No you didn't"

James slowly makes his way to the ring, as images of him winning various championships and hitting various moves appear on the screen. James reaches the ring and makes his way up the ring steps, before turning and facing the crowd.

Phillips: “His opponent, from New York City, New York, he is James Evans!”

James then steps into the ring and walks to the center of it, removing his black hoodie, maintaining his focus. James then goes to the corner and sits on the top turnbuckle, his back to the crowd, as the screen shows James powerbombing Ace Marshall through the barricade, as well as James lifting the SCW World title above his head, as his music comes to an end.

Sharper: “James Evans will be happy to give Sutter the fight he wants. But he’s also looking a couple of weeks ahead. He’s in that Chamber match. World Title on the line.”

Knots: “Yeah. Under Attack is big for him, but we saw Sutter give Selena a fight a few weeks ago. Sutter can go. He’s no slouch. And he already said he could take Evans out. Imagine how things change if he does just that!”

James looks at Clyde as James cracks his knuckles. Clyde looks at James with the smirk on his face as the bell sounds. Clyde then walks up and just nails James as James staggers. James fires back with a hard right of his own. Clyde nails him with one and James then goes for a double leg takedown, taking Clyde to the mat. James Evans then dives forward and forearms Clyde Sutter in the jaw over and over. Clyde tries to fight him off and smacks his arm before forearming James in the jaw. He rolls over and off him. Both get up and James and Clyde nail each other before James follows up with a knee to the ribs. He knees him again and then turns and throws Clyde into the ropes. Clyde bounces off and Evans nails him with a hard right to the ribs. Clyde falls to a knee and then starts to fight back up.

Sharper: “We said this would be a fight and James is getting a fight. Clyde Sutter for his effort is taking what Evans throws and getting right back up!”

Knots: “Just a brawl. Throwing right hands. Knees. I’m waiting for the headbutt!”

Clyde turns and Evans nails him with another right and then a second. Clyde falls to the ropes. Evans grabs him and whips him across. Clyde bounces off and James runs at him and clotheslines him down. He goes for the pin.

Clyde kicks out. Both men get up. Clyde looks up at James and James forearms him in the jaw. He pulls him up and scoops him up and slams him down. Sutter rolls over and gets up as James grabs him and runs him into the corner. James then kicks him in the ribs. He grabs him, but Sutter headbutts him. The crowd ohs and Sutter sins James into the corner and drives his shoulder into the ribs of James.

Knots: “There’s the headbutt! Now some shoulders! Come on corkscrew uppercut!”

Sharper: “Really, Jon?”

Knots: “I need to see if I have a true psychic link. After that is a 720!”

Sutter drives his shoulder again and again. The referee calls for the break, but Sutter ignores him, instead grabbing James and whipping him across. Sutter runs after him and nails him with a running splash in the corner. The crowd ohs and James staggers to the middle of the ring. He rolls over, wincing and Sutter goes for the pin.

James kicks out. Clyde gets up as Van Stanton looks on. James rolls over and Clyde pulls him up by the hair. He then whips him into the ropes. Evans bounces off and Clyde hits a boot to the face. Evans turns and holds his jaw. Sutter pulls him up and hooks his head. He then hosits him up into the head. He holds James up and the crowd roars a bit, some boo. Clyde smiles, holding him up and keeping him there for a couple more seconds and then falling back with a delayed vertical suplex.

Sharper: “Clyde Sutter showing off. Hoisting James Evans up and holding him up for several seconds!”

Knots: “Impressive and it just will have Evans in his head. All of the blood rushing there!”

Clyde gets up and hits an elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

James pushes him off. Clyde pushes him down and starts to choke him.

Evans rolls over as Clyde lets go, holding his arms up. The crowd boos. He then grabs James and pulls him up before whipping him into the ropes. He runs into the opposite direction. Both bounce off and Clyde goes for the Clothesline from Hell, but James ducks. Clyde stops himself and turns around, right into James kicking him in the ribs. He then hits a DDT. He turns and hooks the leg.

Clyde kicks out. Both get up and James clubs him in the back twice. He grabs him and goes to whip him into the ropes, but Clyde spins through and sends him in. James bounces off and hits a tilt-a-whirl sideslam. He hooks the leg.

2!

James pushes him off. The crowd ohs. Sutter rolls off. Both get up and Sutter goes for a clothesline. James ducks and runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits the Laces Out on the rebound. Clyde falls back and into the ropes, bouncing off them and dropping to the mat. The official, Michael Constantine, checks on Sutter as Van Stanton looks on annoyed.

Sharper: “Back and forth. Clyde tried to put James down. James didn’t stay down and hits the Laces Out!”

Knots: “Just caught Clyde in the side of the head. He’s still in this. Ref waiving it off. Not ruling it a knock out!”

Clyde starts to get up and James slowly gets up too. Just as they do, we see running out from the back, the same masked man and woman from Apocalypse, running out from the back.

Sharper: “Not these guys again!”

Knots: “Waiting until now?! Now?!”

The two slide into the ring. Clyde stirs as does James. Constantine tries to stop them, but the woman immediately nails him in the ribs with a straight right hand and then turns and throws Constantine down. The larger man stomps away on Clyde before he can get up, and stomps him over and over. The crowd boos as Clyde rolls to the apron. The man then turns as the woman looks at James. James gets up and sees her. He looks at her and then the man and lunges for the man, but the woman now kicks him in the ribs. James winces and falls forward as the largely man pulls him in and then scoops him up and spins him down with a sidewalk slam. Clyde Sutter enters the ring and the two masked individuals roll out of the ring. Sutter holds his head annoyed as he looks around. The bell sounds now as Sutter looks around annoyed.

Sharper: “These two assaulting Sutter and then attacking James!”

Knots: “Guess that settles that?”

Sharper: “But why help at Apocalypse? Why attack him tonight? James said he had nothing to do with them.”

Knots: “They clearly have something to do with James! Meanwhile, Sutter still wants to keep fighting!”

The two masked individuals head around the ring and start to head off to the back. Sutter steps up, calling on them to come to the ring. The crowd boos and buzzes as the scene slowly fades out.

The screen goes black. The crackling of fire is heard before being overtaken by loud horns and war drums. The screen brightens by fire, to reveal the base of a trophy. The camera begins to tilt upwards slowly, traveling across the bronze surface, engraved with patterns.

“The call has been made. May the finest in the World converge…

An empty ring is shown briefly on the bottom half of the screen. The roar of the crowd begins to join in with the war drums and horns. Scenes begins to populate around the trophy.

“Legends return!”

A quick shot of David Helms delivering the New Jersey Neckbreaker on an unseen opponent, with the announcer’s exclaim. Shilo Valiant is seen laughing from a dark room. Josh Hudson hosting up the SCW World Championship belt over his head as a downed wrestler is shown at his feet.

“Stars collide!”

Lucas Knight is leaning over ropes, pointing at the camera. Katie Steward executed the Platinum Blonde. Shaun Cruze stepping back and then drilling an opponent with the Morality. Thirteen lifts a faceless opponent with the Broken Wings and drops him on the head.

“All around the world they come forward!”

A rapid fire shot of others is shown including unfamiliar faces, hitting as insane moves as others. Even some of the more popular wrestlers outside SCW is given screen time but at this point, everything fades back to the trophy. The camera has reached the summit. A bronze wrestler is posing, his arms flexed and his hands holding up a miniature world.

“11 remain, fighting for the right to be remembered as God of Wrestling!”

At that point, flames eat away at the screen to leave behind words, written in text looking like smoldering embers.

“SCW and Infamously Dangerous Rum presents God of Wrestling 2019 tournament. The Second Round starts October 12th, 8PM EST, Streaming Live on Twitch”

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. The tune of “The Nexus” by Amaranthe begins as a distorted speech that can barely be made out plays amidst the beat, but it’s not long before the song kicks into full gear, and when it does red and white lights begin pulsing on the stage as we see that smoke has begun to engulf it. When the lyrics kick in, the Tron comes to life with clips of Aaron Blackbourne in action, both as himself and as his various demon incarnations. When the song hits the chorus, pyro suddenly goes off on the stage in sync with the creative soul himself suddenly shooting up through the smoke and standing tall on the stage, arms raised and outstretched as the fans erupt into cheers.

Sharper: “Aaron Blackbourne showed that all of the plaudits he’s been getting as of late are legitimate. He pinned Syren in the middle of the ring at Apocalypse.”

Knots: “He’s been in big matches after big matches and he broke through. You can make the excuses you want. Syren took him lightly. She was arrogant. It just shows, no matter what, that Blackbourne rose to the occasion!”

The lights start to come back on, albeit dimmed, as Blackbourne begins making his way down to the ring, happily accepting high fives from the fans with a smile. As he reaches ringside he suddenly leaps onto the apron and quickly climbs so that he’s got one foot on the top turnbuckle, and in tune with the chorus kicking in a second time he briefly crosses his arms across his chest before throwing them out in the same raised and outstretched pose as before, white spotlights suddenly coming on and converging on him as he closes his eyes and basks in this moment. When the chorus ends, Blackbourne leaps from the top into the ring. He then looks around as the cheers continue. He then walks across the ring and goes to the corner where he grabs a microphone waiting for him. He takes it and walks over to the middle of the ring. He then looks around and smiles a bit.

Sharper: “Lots I’m sure on his mind. He’s been making waves.”

Blackbourne then looks around.

Blackbourne: “Syren…you’re not unbeatable. I proved that at Apocalypse!”

The crowd cheers. Blackbourne smiles a bit more.

Blackbourne: “I saw it in your eyes. The moment before impact. You knew you made a mistake. You came out here and treated me like an afterthought. As beneath you. As anything beyond deserving your attention. You even told Ravyn Taylor to stay backstage, focus on other things. And it all cost you. See Syren…you are good. Don’t get me wrong. You have a Hall of Fame ring for a reason, but it’s all catching up to you. You’re getting complacent and I and so many others are looking to knock you off the top. People like Peyton Rice, like Alistaire Allocco, like Owen Cruze! Like me!”

The crowd roars. Blackbourne looks right at the camera before backing up and nodding.

Blackbourne: “Now I know some of you are then thinking about it. I beat Syren. Middle of the ring. No excuses. Clean! Even with Crowe and CHBK involved. Should I be in the Chamber Match? Better yet, shouldn’t I be a bit annoyed I’m not in it?”

Blackbourne shakes his head no.

Blackbourne: “Frankly, if I was in the Chamber match, I’d feel a bit off. Not because I don’t want to compete against those people, some of whom are friends. No…it’s because well…in 2019, I’ve challenged for the Adrenaline Championship. Came close…but not close enough. At Rise to Greatness, I challenged Bree Lancaster. People were talking about that match for weeks after. Even when I wasn’t at one hundred percent, I GAVE one hundred percent…and it wasn’t enough. Bree Lancaster still champion.”

Blackbourne stops.

Blackbourne: “I beat Syren. Oh heck yeah I did. But I’ve not earned that spot in the Chamber. One match should not change the fact that this has been a year of learning, of adapting, and now, we’re at the point of overcoming and I still had the biggest win of my career at Apocalypse…”

We hear the crowd roaring.

Blackbourne: “…when I hit the Unchained Creativity and PINNED Syren in the middle of this r-”

Blackbourne catches on the roaring from the crowd before turning to the entrance way, where we see Abigail Lindsay sliding into the ring. She runs at Blackbourne and Blackbourne attempts a clothesline, but Lindsay ducks and jumps to the middle rope and Blackbourne turns, only for Lindsay to hit a spinning heel kick off the middle rope to the jaw. Blackbourne hits the mat as Abigail rolls through. She then dives back onto Blackbourne and side mounts him, hammering away on him with hard right hands. The crowd boos loudly.

Sharper: “Abigail Lindsay attacking Blackbourne!”

Knots: “Blackbourne heard the crowd. He knew something was coming, but Abigail had a plan!”

Sharper: “And she’s assaulting Blackbourne. She said earlier she’ll be doing something for herself and something for Ravyn. Is this the latter? Blackbourne beats Syren so he gets her associates sent on him?!”

Knots: “Are you surprised?”

Sharper: “Not at all, but this is exactly what Blackbourne and others are fighting against! And Abigail Lindsay seemingly ignoring her issue with Glory Braddock now?!”

Knots: “Or is Syren focusing on that now?”

Abigail gets a few more shots in before she gets up and stomps Blackbourne in the chest. He rolls over and Abigail stomps him again. He rolls over again and Abigail stomps him a third time. We then see Owen Cruze running out from the back. The crowd roars as Owen runs down and Abigail steps back and sees him. Owen slides in and Abigail rolls out of the ring. She backs up as the crowd chants for Owen. Owen gets up and watches her as a few officials come down to the ring too. A couple slide into the ring as a few remain on the floor. Abigail walks around as Owen checks on Aaron while occasionally looking up to watch Abigail. Abigail smiles as she walks around.

Sharper: “The World Champion, Owen Cruze, coming out to help his friend!”

Knots: “And officials making sure this doesn’t continue. Abigail Lindsay sent the message though!”

Aaron winces and grabs at the ropes, slowly pulling himself up as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Ravyn Taylor smiling as she turns away from the monitor. Syren can be seen in the background annoyed, seated with Alexander Crowe. CHBK walks over to Ravyn.

CHBK: “Good that Abigail is willing to still play by the plan. Even with a curveball. Although it looks like she has eyes for you.”

Ravyn: “Let her. That will be her downfall. How many people go to war with me? How many people who I’d say are better have…you be in that list, Alex.”

CHBK: “Well you can enjoy your planning and fun on the side. But we need to figure out things with Syren.”

Ravyn: “Already ahead of you. The moment it was announced…it’s the perfect playground for whatever we can come up with.”

Syren then stands up.

Syren: “Trust me, I’m going to do anything I have to win. Abigail can make Aaron Blackbourne realize he’s gotten NOTHING on me. That match…it means NOTHING.”

Ravyn: “Good.”

CHBK: “Seems simple enough.”

We then see Christy Matthews stepping into the locker room. She storms in and walks past everyone. Syren looks at her and nods to Ravyn. CHBK turns to Ravyn too.

Ravyn: “Not something to worry about right now.”

CHBK and Syren nod as the scene fades to black.

The screens show static for a few seconds before going dark once more. The black screen starts to pulse now like a heartbeat and on each pulse that reverberates round the arena, a shot of Thomas in various poses is shown before reverting to the blackness until the next pulse that sounds like a bass drum beat with increasing volume until a final shot of him holding the SCW Title aloft after winning the match at Taking Hold Of The Flame is Shown and remains until two green fireworks shoot from the rafters and explode on the ramp. The explosion drifts across the ramp before the beginning chords to "Cut The Cord" by Shinedown, hits. A shot of "Thorn" going for the Swanton from the top of a chamber pod at Under Attack 2009 is shown in slow motion as he misses it and hits nothing but canvas. A shot now of him hitting the Socially Unacceptable Moonsault stomp from the top rope onto Justin Davis is shown, the impact punctuated by the last word of the verse before a shadowed figure can be seen standing in front of the curtain at the top of the ramp.

"FREE-DOM LALALALA FREE-DOM FOLLOW ME!"

As the last word echoes, the lights start to strobe again briefly as the song reverbrates throughout the arena now, causing the fans to start cheering.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is part of the SCW United States Championship Contendership Tournament…introducing first, from Raleigh, North Carolina…he is…TOMMY! VALENTINE!”

The lights finally flicker back on and Thomas Valentine can now be seen on top of the arena's ramp as he looks out into the audience that are now cheering loudly, chanting his name in some cases. He stops and smiles a little before spinning around away from the fans and holding his arms outwards with his palms upwards, he then stops and then shakes his head before smirking and shrugging. Fireworks then shoot out at the top of the ramp in a burst before he resumes walking down to the ring. As he walks past the barrier he looks out into the crowds and goes to high fives a few fans before moving on down the ramp, the smirk still on his face before he slides underneath the ropes and immediately runs to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle, simply nodding before smiling at all the fans in the crowds. He jumps down and does the same to all the turnbuckles before standing still in the centre, cranking his neck. Thomas then stands motionless in the corner before waiting for his opponent.

The entire arena suddenly goes black and stays that way for about 10 seconds, making the crowd begin to think that nothing is going to happen. That is until 1 solitary lightning strike strikes on the titantron. This leads right to the beginning of "Seven Devils" by Florence & The Machine. The music plays even though the arena stays dark. It is about 10 more seconds before suddenly the lights turn on, with the dark figure of Casterillo standing right in the center of the ring, with a blank look in his eyes. He immediately springs right into action.

The ref calls for the bell as Valentine hits a dropkick to the left knee of Casterillo, bringing the big man down. Valentine then begins to hammer away at Casterillo’s head and face, before Valentine is shoved back. Casterillo rolls away.

Sharper: “Tommy Valentine and Casterillo have quite the history. Tommy picked up a DQ win a few weeks ago, while Casterillo won at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Knots: “There seems to be no love lost between these two. Like you said, they’ve turned this into a little bit of a rivalry. Casterillo has an opportunity to move up, just as Tommy’s focus has shifted toward the United States Championship.”

Valentine charges, but Casterillo gets up and connects with a big boot. Valentine falls to the mat and Casterillo hits a leg drop, before hooking the leg.

Valentine kicks out! Casterillo gets to his feet, just as Valentine does, too. Valentine charges, but Casterillo manages to take him down with a sidewalk slam. Casterillo then locks in a head lock, keeping Valentine on the mat.

Knots: “This is a little unusual. Casterillo slowing the pace down in this match.”

Valentine manages to get to one knee, bringing Casterillo up with him, before both stand up. Valentine begins to connect with shots to the chest and abdomen, causing Casterillo to break his grip and stagger back. Valentine charges and leaps up, planting Casterillo with a DDT, before hooking the leg.

Casterillo powers out.

Sharper: “The former SCW Champion getting a two count off the DDT.”

Valentine lifts Casterillo up to his feet and whips him into the ropes. Casterillo comes back and hits a running shoulder tackle. Valentine hits the mat but bounces back up, only for Casterillo to take him down with another shoulder tackle. Valentine hits the mat but bounces up once again. He goes for a haymaker, but Casterillo dunks under, before hooking him and planting him with a spin out powerbomb. Casterillo then hooks the leg.

Valentine gets the shoulder up. Casterillo climbs to his feet.

Sharper: “Casterillo with his own two count. Have you noticed he hasn’t gone for the kill so to speak?”

Knots: “Yeah, I can’t argue there. Seems there’s been a bit of shift in the big man’s attitude.”

Casterillo grabs Valentine off the mat, but Valentine connects with a  European uppercut, then a dropkick to the knee, before hitting another dropkick to the head, sending Casterillo to the mat. Valentine then runs and bounces off the ropes, connecting with a moonsault. He goes for another pin.

Valentine turns and Casterillo takes him down with a big boot.  He hits a leg drop, followed by a quick second. Casterillo goes for another cover.

Casterillo rolls out, but keeps a grip on Valentine. The crowd cheers at this display.

Knots: “Did the crowd just cheer for Casterillo a little bit?”

Sharper: “I think so.”

Casterillo powers Valentine onto his shoulder. He appears to go for a powerslam, but Valentine hits an elbow to the side of the face, followed by a second. He then drops Casterillo with a reverse DDT. Casterillo hits the mat and rolls over onto his knees, just as Valentine charges and connects with the Knee Deep! Valentine hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Knee Deep! Is it enough to put Casterillo away?”

The ref calls for the bell as “Cut the Cord” hits. Valentine gets to his feet as the ref lifts his hand up. Casterillo is shown slowly stirring, slowly shaking his head.

Knots: “It was enough, Adam.”

Sharper: “Casterillo didn’t show as much aggression and you have to wonder if that hurt him. Either way, Tommy Valentine moves on in this tournament to determine the number one contender to the United States Championship.”

Valentine is shown celebrating a bit more, before we cut away.

Backstage, Kandis smiles as she turns away from the television in the hallway. Autumn Valentine and Ryan Watson are with her.

Kandis: “Tommy did what he needed. Time for me to get my hands on Kim. I’m looking forward to this.”

Autumn: “So are we.”

Kandis: “You don’t need to come out with me-“

Ryan: “An’ whattat Gavin jumps out-“

Kandis: “I’ll take care of it.”

Autumn steps up.

Autumn: “Well while you have your deal with Gavin, we have zero you know whats about that. We’re looking at Twin Magic and getting our titles back. So we’ll be out there.”

Kandis looks at Autumn and then Ryan.

Kandis: “Fine. Let’s go.”

Kandis, Autumn and Ryan then start to walk off.

Sharper: “Kandis faces Kim Williams, next, here on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

Kandis vs. Kimberly Williams

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first....”

The opening bass of "Baby Got Back" begins and Kandis steps out from the curtain, a sway in her step. A few seconds later Ryan Watson and Autumn Valentine walk out behind her. The music cuts to a remixed version of the chorus, with added bass, and Kandis turns around to wiggle her bountiful rear end. Some of the males in the crowd cheer as Kandis turns back and starts down the ramp.

Phillips: “From West Hollywood, California.... and being accompanied by Ryan Watson and Autumn Valentine, she is Kandis!

Ryan and Autumn follow as Kandis makes her way down. When Kandis gets to the ring steps, the line skips in the remix:

"My anaconda don't-- my anaconda don't-- my anaconda don't want none unless you got buns, hon!"

Kandis shakes her hips in time to the words, then steps through the ropes and slaps her ass right at the whip sound. The bass line continues as Kandis bounces on her feet a little, shaking all of her assets. Ryan and Autumn walk around the ring to Kandis' corner, remaining on the floor ringside.

Sharper: “Kandis not being cornered by her tag partner tonight, Tommy Valentine. He just finished his match and with Kandis wanting him to focus on that, here we are. Ryan Watson and Autumn Valentine wouldn't hear of letting her come out here alone though.”

Knots: “Watson probably thinks Gavin Taylor might jump Kandis again.”

Sharper: “That's not an unreasonable worry.”

The opening chords of Look What You Made Me Do begin to play. Kimberly Williams steps out onto the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. Behind her a step is her sister Marie Jones, smiling. Marie wears her Tag Team Title belt around her waist, while Kimberly carries hers held overhead as she skips down the ramp.

Phillips: “And her opponent... from Boston, Massachusetts and being accompanied by Marie Jones... she is one half of the SCW Tag Team Champions, Kimberly Williams!”

A sinister smirk is on her face as Kimberly ponders what she is about to do tonight. She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it. She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope, while Marie walks around to Kimberly's corner. Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans. Kimberly then hands her belt to Marie before spinning around to face Kandis.

Sharper: “And you see the reason why Mr. and Mrs. Watson insisted on being out here, Kimberly has her sister Marie in her corner.”

Knots: “I guess both Ryan and Autumn are out here because Kandis needs extra back-up for that ass.”

Sharper: “Or.... they wanted to keep an eye on the champions. We've got a lot of talent out here right now, current champions, former champions, and one half of the champions before that. And here we go.”

The bell rings. Kim immediately starts skipping around the ring, edging closet to Kandis. Kandis just glares at her as she circles. The crowd roars. As Kim gets close enough for Kandis' reach, Kandis nails her with a spinning backfist. The crowd oohs as Kim hits the mat. Kandis dusts her hands off, then walks over and goes for a knee drop. Kim rolls out of the way at the last second and Kandis hits the mat. She cringes and gets up, rubbing her knee. Kim gets to her feet and turns, her smile gone. Kandis smirks, then runs at Kim. Kim steps forward and the two lock up. Kandis easily gets control with her strength advantage, spinning Kim around into a rear hold, then snaps her over with a suplex. Kim rolls through and is on her feet when Kandis turns around. The crowd roars as Kim smiles as if nothing happened. Kandis glares and grabs Kim's arm, sending her across. Kim bounces back. Kandis goes for a clothesline, but Kim ducks and keeps going. Kandis spins around, and Kim turns and jabs Kandis in the forehead. Kandis takes a few steps backwards, holding her head. Kim claps like she just won a prize.

Sharper: “Kimberly halting Kandis' momentum there with a.... rather unorthodox strike.”

Knots: “It's only weird if it doesn't work.”

Kandis shakes her head and looks up at Kim, who is still celebrating. She turns to the crowd leaning on the top rope and starts blowing kisses. We cut to ringside and see both Ryan and Autumn shaking their heads, Ryan rolling his eyes. We then cut to Marie, also shaking her head but grinning at her sister. Back in the ring, Kandis has enough of Kim's antics and runs at her from behind, then delivers a big boot to Kim's back, sending her tumbling over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd oohs.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams having a little too much fun there and Kandis saw an opening.”

Knots: “Which is strange since Kandis usually IS the open-”

Sharper: “Stop it!”

Knots: “Oh come on, you walked into that one! Fine... Kandis now going to the outside.”

Kandis drops down and grabs Kim by the hair, pulling her to her feet. The official starts to count. (1) Kandis slings Kim into the apron. Marie walks around, but its cut off by Ryan. (2) Kim pushes off the apron and throws a right at Kandis, but Kandis blocks it and swings Kim around again. Kim though counters this time and awkwardly shoves Kandis into the ring steps. (3) Kim claps for herself again and then pulls the ring skirt up, looking for something.

Sharper: “Oh no... Kimberly is probably looking for her favorite toy.”

Knots: “Not if Ryan Watson can help it!”

Ryan walks over and pulls the ring skirt back down. Kim stands up and glares at him. (4)

Kimberly: “Hey! No one said you could pull on my skirt!”

Watson: “It's not yers, issit? Get yer sen back in the ring!”

Kim looks back at Kandis, who's on her feet and leaning on the apron, one arm around her ribs where she hit the steps. (5) Kim runs over and grabs Kandis, shoving her up onto the apron and under the ropes. She then slides in herself. The official stops the count. Both women get to their feet and Kandis nails Kim with a spinning heel kick. Kim goes down. Kandis makes a cover.

Kim kicks out. Kandis gets up and pulls Kim up. Kim grabs her though and hits a DDT out of nowhere. Kim then drops down and applies an arm bar. Kandis grimaces in pain.

Sharper: “Kandis not a very skilled mat technician, she's mainly a striker. She may not have an answer for this armbar.”

Knots: “If that's the case, Watson slacked in his teaching.”

Ryan slaps the mat in encouragement. The official gets down right in front of Kandis, she shakes her head no. With Kandis' feet out of the official's line of sight, Ryan reaches in and grabs Kandis' foot, pulling her back a few inches and placing her foot on the bottom rope. The crowd boos as he then steps aside a few feet then hits the mat yelling at the official. He looks up, and seeing Kandis' foot, calls for the break.

Kim lets go and Kandis rolls away, holding her arm. Marie protests from the apron as Ryan and Autumn smirk.

Sharper: “Marie Jones saw what happened, Ryan Watson giving Kandis the assist there, but our official didn't see it, so it he can't call it.”

Knots: “Way to help your friend there Ryan!”

Sharper: “And Marie has reason to be annoyed and concerned, as we know Ryan and Autumn are getting a rematch for the Tag Team Titles at Under Attack.”

Kandis gets to her feet, shaking out her arm. She and Kim circle each other a bit, then Kim suddenly drops down and rolls out of the ring, opposite where Ryan and Autumn are standing. She digs under the ring again as Kandis watches, shaking her head. Just when Kandis has enough and starts to go towards Kim to pull her back in, Kim stands up and rolls back in, then hops to her feet, one arm behind her back.

Sharper: “Uh oh... Kimberly has a surprise for Kandis.”

Knots: “A miniature stabbing implement is my guess.”

Kim proves Knots right by bringing her hand out, revealing her beloved staple gun. The official goes to warn her, but she turns it towards him. He puts his hands up and backs up, still warning her but from a safe distance. Kim turns the staple gun back towards Kandis.

Kimberly: “You asked me to play, then said playtime was over. Are you confused? Let me help!”

Kim steps forward. Kandis takes a step backwards. Marie hops up on the apron and yells at her sister to put the weapon down. Kim just laughs. Ryan also hops on the apron and starts to step through. The official sees him though and goes over to stop him. Kim uses the opening to approach Kandis, finger on the trigger. Kandis responds by firing off a spinning heel kick to Kim's hand, sending the staple gun flying. A fan in the first row actually catches it.

Knots: “Nice souvenir for that guy!”

Sharper: “Kandis could have broken Kim's hand with that kick!”

Kim cradles her hand to herself. Kandis grabs her and lifts her overhead, in gorilla press position. Kim though wiggles and kicks her feet and slides out and down, landing on her feet behind Kandis. She then runs the ropes as Kandis turns around and Kim drills her with a scissors kick. She makes a cover.

Kandis kicks out. We see Ryan and Autumn clapping. Kandis shoves Kim off. They both get up, Kandis slower, and Kim runs to the corner, up on the second turnbuckle. Kandis turns and Kim plants her with a blockbuster. She makes another cover.

2!

Kandis kicks out again.

Sharper: “Another two count and that second one was close!”

Knots: “I don't think Kandis saw Kim coming”

Kim rolls away, shaking her head. Kandis rolls the other way and sits up. Both women get to their feet. Kandis steps up to Kim and hits her with a flurry of strikes – a few jabs and ending with a hard kick to the thigh. Kim goes down to a knee. Kandis grabs her head by the hair and starts to go for the Gratuitous, but Kim grabs Kandis' hand with both of hers and shoves her off. Kandis steps back and Kim gets to her feet. Kim runs the ropes, on the return she goes for a clothesline. Kandis ducks. Kim bounces off the other side, where Autumn reaches in quick as lighting and grabs Kim's foot, tripping her, and Kim falls face first. The crowd oohs. The official hadn't been looking down and didn't see it. Marie did though and she jumps on the apron pleading her case. The official waves her off and checks on Kim. Kim nods and the official backs away. Kim gets to her feet and Kandis runs and grabs her head and drills her with the Starmaker! The crowd oohs. Ryan and Autumn applaud as Kandis makes the cover, sitting on Kim's chest.

3!

The bell rings, and the crowd boos.

Phillips: “Here is your winner by pinfall... Kandis!”

Kandis gets up and struts over to the official, and he raises her arm. Marie slides in and checks on Kim.

Sharper: “Autumn Valentine with the quick as a snake grab at Kimberly's foot. Tripped her. Our official did not see the grab. That was just enough of an opening for Kandis to hit that knee strike.”

Knots: “And to think, she wanted to come out here alone! Good thing her friends insisted on having her back.”

Sharper: “Twin Magic not amused by this one bit.”

Knots: “Gotta wonder if this is getting into their heads any, and if that was Watson and Valentine's plan all along.”

Ryan and Autumn get in the ring and celebrate with Kandis, the three of them hugging, then each taking one of Kandis' hands and raising it. Marie and Kim just stare up at them, both glaring as we cut away.

Backstage, Gavin Taylor is seen watching the match and shaking his head. He then steps back and turns and yelps. He clutches his chest and turns as Jessica Winters is standing behind him.

Gavin: “Jesus. Like a damn ninja you are. Not a spectacular one. Oh no. But still…God! Wear squeaky shoes. I have a damn battalion coming after me!”

Jessica: “Well to be fair Gavin, I figured if I waited nearby, I could see what you would do, getting our viewers an exclusive. Let’s be fair, you’ve been going to some significant lengths to get something over Kandis, even striking her with Scarlet’s gauntlet-“

Gavin: “Speaking off. Swell girl. I hope she wins tonight. I think there’s more there.”

Jessica: “Oh?”

Gavin: “What? I’m not going to turn down a perfectly good partnership if it works. Did I not just say I’m facing a battalion? How am I the bad guy? Because I jested with a special moment we both shared. Sure, it hurt her and may have caused her to fear she might melt or something, but come on! We’re WAAAAAAY past that. Now we’re just competitors looking to get ahead. And she’s got former Tag Champs. I mean…they’re great and all. If one was teaming with me, they’d still hold the titles, but well-“

???: “You’re a real piece of work, you know that.”

Gavin turns as Tommy Valentine walks over to him. Gavin steps back, almost behind Jessica.

Jessica: “Are you using me as a shield?”

Gavin: “No, just making sure you have my good side.”

Gavin motions to the cameraman.

Tommy: “No…don’t worry. I’m not going to do anything. Kandis said she’s going to kick your ass and trust me, I’m just going to make sure you sweat it out until Under Attack, knocking that you’re going to regret everything you’ve done since you’ve become full time with SCW.”

Tommy smirks.

Tommy: “Going to be great to watch.”

Gavin: “Now, see, this is what I mean Jessica. Just threat and I have to defend myself to-“

Gavin then suddenly thumbs Tommy in the eye. Tommy staggers back and Gavin hits a Dependable Roundhouse. Tommy falls to the ground. Gavin then turns to Jessica.

Gavin: “Self-defense!”

He turns and runs off.

Sharper: “Self-defense? That was another sneak attack!”

Knots: “Tommy even said he wasn’t going to strike him!”

Gavin is shown still running off as Breakdown cuts to commercial.

Datura vs. Scarlet Grey

SCW United States Championship Contendership Tournament

The arena turns black. On the screen, scenes of post-apocalyptic landscapes haunt the darkness. Over the speakers, an eerie synth pad sets the mood as a deep, raspy voice begins speaking:

“The car’s on fire, and there’s no driver at the wheel, and the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides, and a dark wind blows…

The government is corrupt and we’re on so many drugs with the radio on and the curtains drawn. We’re trapped in the belly of this horrible machine, and the machine is bleeding to death. The sun has fallen down, and the billboards are all leering, and the flags are all dead at the top of their poles.

It went like this: The buildings tumbled in on themselves. Mothers clutching babies picked through the rubble and pulled out their hair. The skyline was beautiful on fire, all twisted metal stretching upward, everything washed in a thin orange haze

I said ‘Kiss me. You’re beautiful. These are truly the last days. You grabbed my hand and we fell into it like a daydream or a fever.”

A chorus of strings play a melancholic tune as a pale spotlight settles at the top of the ramp as “Dead Flag Blues” by Godspeed You! Black Emperor plays. There, it falls on Datura, dressed in a pair of tight, dark jeans and a black hoodie. She stops at the top of the ramp and stares out into the darkness of the crowd and sea of jeers that flood her way.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the SCW United States Championship Contendership Tournament, introducing first…from Tampa, Florida, she is Datura!”

Datura trudges down the ramp, and the light follow. The silhouette of hands reaching out to grab her can be seen on the outskirts of the light. Datura ignores them as she climbs up the steps. The strings slow. Datura stands upon the apron, cracks her neck, and enters under the top rope. She makes her way to the corner and unzips her hoodie. She extends her arms outward and rolls her neck, casting her gaze to the sky as her hoodie slides off her arms.

Nymphetamine (Deva-Fix) begins to play, and once the guitars kick in the lights dim just enough for red and white lights to stand out as they sway across the stage. Out from the back saunters Scarlet Grey, a smirk on her lips as she purposely sways her hips, drawing the gaze of every fan in the arena as they are entranced by the mere sight of her walking down the ramp, putting every runway model in existence to shame without even actually trying. She slowly walks up the steps before stepping between the top and second ropes, taking her sweet time with it to show off not only her ample display of cleavage but also the greatest ass god himself ever created for a woman. Once she's in the ring she waits in the corner, eyes moving over to the referee with a look that's just begging for him to come over and 'inspect' her for foreign objects.

Phillips: “And her opponent, from parts unknown, she is...SCARLET! GREY!”

Sharper: “One of the first round matches in the tournament to determine the next challenger to Bree Lancaster’s reign as United States Champion, pitting Datura against Scarlet Grey.”

Knots: “You have to know that both are looking to secure some gold.”

Sharper: “This is a big opportunity for both competitors to step up to the next level. It will come down to who wants it more.”

The ref calls for the bell. Both circle the ring, not taking their eyes off one another, before both lunge forward. Scarlet tries to overpower Datura, but Datura transitions behind Scarlet, before hitting a forearm to the back of the head.

Sharper: “Both went for a tie-up, but Datura managed to land the first strike.”

Scarlet stumbles forward, holding her head. She turns, just as Datura connects with a knife edge chop, followed by a dropkick. Scarlet hits the ropes and Datura takes her down with an arm drag. Scarlet sits in the center of the ring and Datura delivers a barrage of stick kicks to her opponent’s right arm.

Datura then grabs Scarlet’s right arm and drives her elbow full force into the center of it. Scarlet pulls away and clutches at her arm. Datura grabs her and lifts her off the mat, before going to whip her across the ring. Scarlet reverses, pulling Datura into a spinning back elbow, before hooking her and hitting a DDT. Scarlet goes for the cover.

Datura kicks out.
Scarlet rubs her arm as Datura gets to her feet. Scarlet charges, but Datura hits an elbow of her own, staggering Scarlet. Datura then grabs her and hits a swinging neckbreaker. Datura grabs Scarlet off the mat before taking her down with a snap German suplex. Datura then goes for a cover of her own.

Scarlet kicks out.

Sharper: “Both getting a two count over the other. Scarlet showing she is much more than looks, while Datura is showing a side of her we saw during her first match against Regan Street.”

Knots: “Both got a two count, but both showed the other its going to take a lot more than that to put the other away.”

Sharper: “Right you are partner.”

Datura grabs Scarlet, who fires away and connects with a European uppercut, causing Datura to stagger back into the ropes. Scarlet charges and connects with a running clothesline, sending Datura over the top rope. On the way down, Datura’s leg hits the apron and bends in the wrong direction. Datura falls to the outside floor, clutching her leg.

Knots: “There was nothing pretty about that.”

Sharper: “Her leg bent in the opposite direction on the way down. That could cause her title aspirations to decrease rapidly.”

The ref goes to get out of the ring, but Scarlet rolls out and gets to Datura first. Scarlet stumps on the leg, and Datura groans. Scarlet lifts Datura up to her feet, and goes to whip her into the apron, but Datura stops and falls back to the floor, grabbing her leg once again.

Sharper: “Datura is hurt!”

Knots: “Doesn’t seem to be slowing Scarlet down.”

Scarlet brings Datura to her feet once again and hits a few knife edge chops before hitting an elbow to the jaw. Scarlet then rolls Datura into the ring. Scarlet stomps on Datura’s leg before driving her knee into it and cranking back. The ref checks on Datura.

Sharper: “Scarlet with a leg lock type of submission, showing a vicious side I don’t think we’ve never really seen.”

Knots: “I don’t think I’ve wanted to see this.”

Datura shakes her head no before Scarlet cranks back on the leg once again. Datura shakes her head no once again, and Scarlet gets to her before slamming Datura’s leg as hard as she can on the mat. Datura rolls onto her side, grabbing her leg.

Sharper: “You can tell by the look on Datura’s face, that she is trying to fight through the pain.”

Knots: “If she wants to compete for gold, she’s going to have to.”

Scarlet goes to grab Datura, but Datura kicks her twice, in the head and face, with her good leg. Scarlet staggers back, as Datura is shown using the ropes to get to her feet. Scarlet turns and charges, before driving her shoulder into the back of Datura’s bad leg. Datura hits the mat near the ropes. Scarlet stomps the leg before hooking it and locking in a single leg Boston Crab.

Sharper: “Single leg Boston Crab, causing further damage to that leg.”

Datura immediately grabs the ropes as the ref begins the five count, with Scarlet maintaining the hold.

Ref: “1…2…3…”

Knots: “Scarlet is having fun torturing Datura here.”

Ref: “4…”

Scarlet breaks the hold. Scarlet flips Datura over onto her back, just as Datura lands another kick to the head and face. Scarlet stumbles a little bit, before Datura hits another set of kicks to the head face. Scarlet drops to one knee and shakes it off. She goes to grad Datura, but Datura pulls her into an inside cradle. The ref makes the count.

Sharper: “Inside cradle!”

3!!!

The ref calls for the bell as Datura rolls out of the ring, just as “Dead Flag Blues” begins to play through the arena. Scarlet is shown looking on in shock, as Datura is shown favoring her leg, trying to mask the pain.

Sharper: “Datura with the win here tonight, but she’s still favoring that leg.”

Knots: “Hopefully it’s not too severe, but the way she’s limping, her stay in this tournament might be short lived as her health may be called into question.”

Datura is shown slowly making her way up the ramp as we cut to the back.

“The Old Me” plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. Regan Street vs. Damian Angel comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Regan Street is looking to get back into the winning ways. Asher Hayes winning the Adrenaline Championship from her. Regan Street, the Hellcat, having to come to terms. And Satan Himself standing across the ring from her. It’s next, here live, on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

Breakdown returns and we see Datura now being helped through the backstage area, her leg up as two officials carry her toward the trainer’s room. As they carry her, we see Regan Street walking down the hallway. She looks at Datura as Datura looks annoyed. Regan watches her leave and sighs as Mikaela walks over to Regan. Regan nods and heads off toward the tunnel.

Regan Street vs. Damian Angel

The opening lines of The Rasmus' "Lucifer's Angel" begin to play over the crowd suddenly, without the introduction of the song.

Behind those eyes lies the truth and grief
Behind those beautiful smiles I've seen tragedy
The flawless skin hides the secrets within
Silent forces that secretly ignite your sins

Damian Angel steps out onto the top of the ramp , inciting boos from the crowd. He looks at the crowd. The lights in the arena all turn off, leaving the sight of pitch black. As the chorus strikes up, a red spotlight begins to follow Angel to the ring...

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, from Hell, Michigan, he is the Hellbound Messiah, Damian Angel!”

He reaches the end of the rampway and Angel has rolled toward the centre of the ring, pulling himself to one knee. Damian runs his hand over the canvas before pounding his right fist down upon the SCW logo, immediately springing to his feet thereafter. Damian unfastens the clasps of his rope, letting it drop down to the mat behind him. He glares out over the crowd. Angel climbs onto the middle rope and outstretches his arms, bringing them together in an 'X' formation as he looks down towards the pits of hell. He repeats this process on the other three sides of the ring, and after the last one he hops off the turnbuckle.

Sharper: “Damian Angel took on Datura, but came up short. This however gives him an opportunity to immediately remind everyone what he’s capable of.”

Knots: “Regan Street is annoyed. No longer Adrenaline Champion. Damian preys on that!”

The arena goes dark. The sound of a Hellcat scratching through the screen is seen with a roar. Fireworks blast off the entrance as “Who's Next” by Porcelain Black plays throughout the arena. Regan Street walks out in her cat suit and ensemble with her younger sister, Mikaela behind her.
She stands at the entrance way looking out into the crowd as they cheer.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by Mikaela Street, from Santa Monica, California, she is the Hellcat, Regan Street!”

Regan turns to Mikaela, they both nod before she looks around at the crowd before starting to make her way down to the ring followed by Mikaela. Regan Street gets to the apron and hops up to the ring; she flips over the ropes back first to the cheers from the fans; Mikaela slides after her. Once inside the ring Regan goes to the corner, climbing it and posing in her own confident way as Mikaela claps before dropping down and walking to the middle of the ring where she takes off her entrance attire and nods to her sister, handing her the gear and she makes her way to the corner while the Hellcat stands waiting to start her fight. Regan then cart wheels and ruffles her hair as she waits for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Regan Street, we mentioned, annoyed. Disappointed. And then add her walking into Datura both at Apocalypse, then tonight. Reminder of her greatest victory this year.”

Knots: “But maybe there was something there. Asher Hayes said that he’s not Datura and was going to play to that. Maybe Regan got so focused on being that dialed in. That focused!”

Regan looks at Damian, pacing a bit as Damian smirks. The bell sounds. Regan heads across the ring with purpose and Damian steps through the ropes and drops down to the floor. Regan then quickly goes to step through the ropes before stopping and backing up. Damian chuckles a bit to himself. (1) Regan backs up and looks at Damian. (2) Damian slowly walks to the ring and grabs the ropes. He pulls himself onto the apron. He then enters the ring and looks at Regan. Regan says something to Damian before Damian lunges and goes for a clothesline. Regan ducks and stops. Damian turns around and Regan blasts him with a forearm shot and then another and another.

Sharper: “Regan curbing her aggressiveness to start, but now its much more controlled as she tees off on Damian Angel!”

Knots: “Damian wanted to try and see if he, or maybe Datura, was in her head already.”

Sharper; “Datura and Regan crossing paths again and that setting Regan off to some degree. Almost like there’s a switch flipped there!”

Regan grabs Damian and pushes him against the ropes. She knees him in the ribs before going to take him down with a snapmare, but Damian blocks it and pulls her into the ropes and knees her before whipping her across. Regan bounces off and Damian hits a back elbow. He goes for the pin.

Regan kicks out. Both get up and Regan runs at Damian only for Damian to armdrag her down. He hooks the arm and holds on as Regan slowly starts to get her feet under her. Regan then jumps up and hits a dropkick, knocking her down. She goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Damian with a bit of an unorthodox take to this one.”

Knots: “Regan is trying to stay on him, but he’s finding ways out and then getting her to the mat.”

Sharper: “He’s trying to frustrate her.”

Regan slowly stirs and Damian grabs her and snapmares her over and locks in a reverse chinlock. The crowd boos as Regan looks out and reaches around, grabbing at the ears and then the head of Damian. She tries to push herself up, getting her knees and then her legs under her before getting up and Damian nails her in the ribs with a hard right to the ribs. He whips her into the ropes. Regan bounces off and Damian scoops her up and hits a snap sidewalk slam. He goes for the pin.

Damian then grabs her by the hair and drags her up and runs her face first into the top turnbuckle. Regan turns around and Damian grabs her, but Regan kicks him in the ribs. The crowd cheers as Regan kicks Damian in the ribs again before nailing him with a forearm and then a chop.

Sharper: “Regan Street! The Hellcat fighting out of the corner!”

Knots: “Throwing rights, kicks, chops. Whatever works!

The crowd woos and Regan kicks him in the ribs and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Damian goes for a back elbow. Regan ducks and bounces off the other side and jumps up and hits a Lou Thesz Press. She then hammers away on Damian with a series of hard right hands. The crowd cheers. Regan gets up and turns and hits a leg drop. She rolls over and gets up and hits a second leg drop before getting up. Damian goes to sit up, but Regan stomps him in the head. Damian drops down and Regan hits a third leg drop. She goes for the pin.

Damian gets his shoulder up. Regan looks up and gets up. She rolls Damian over onto his stomach and hits an elbow drop to his lower back. He winces and Regan turns and walks over to the corner. She pulls herself up to the middle turnbuckle. The crowd cheers as Damian slowly starts to get up to his hands and knees and Regan dives off with a falling-forward elbow drop to the back of his head. She rolls him over and goes for another pin.

Damian shoots his shoulder up. The crowd sighs.

Sharper: “Only two as the Hellcat has turned it up and is assaulting Damian Angel!”

Knots: “No fear against Satan and if she’s looking to beat Damian Angel to match Datura while getting something clicking for facing Asher in a few weeks, she’s looking damn good.”

Regan gets up and grabs Damian. She drags him up and nails him with a forearm shot. She turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and suddenly, Damian lunges with a throat thrust.

Knots: “Maybe not now!”

Regan staggers and Damian kicks her in the ribs, grabs her head and hits a snap bulldog. The crowd boos. Damian rolls her over and hooks the leg.

Regan gets her shoulder up. Damian rolls off. Regan rolls over. Damian turns and walks over and looks at Regan and hits a powerdrive elbow to the chest of Regan. Regan rolls over. Damian then grabs her and nails her with another throat thrust. This sends Regan into the corner. Damian then grabs her and hoists her up onto the top turnbuckle. Damian then smirks as he gets up to the middle turnbuckle and grabs her before hooking her up, but as he does, Regan nails him in the chest with a hard right and then in the stomach before nailing him with an uppercut. Damian falls back and rolls through. He starts to get up and Regan pulls herself up to her feet and stands on the top rope. Damian turns back and Regan dives off with the Love Tap off the top rope. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Regan going high risk! From the top rope! Love Tap to the jaw!”

Knots: “Damian dropped!”

Regan rolls over and starts to get up. Damian stirs and turns, holding his face. Regan walks over to him and grabs him by the head, hooking him up and hitting the Catnap. Damian rolls to his back. Regan rolls over and covers him.

The crowd cheers. The bell sounds. Regan rolls off. She looks down for a moment before starting to get up.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Regan Street!”

Sharper: “Regan Street defeating Damian Angel, a couple of weeks after Datura did it.”

Knots: “She can feel good about that tonight. Gets back to a winning way. But Asher Hayes has the Adrenaline Championship. That’s what she wants. She wants it back.”

Sharper: “And at Under Attack, she’ll get it. Can she focus on Asher Hayes and put it all together like she did tonight against Damian? Regan tested Asher, but Asher beat her at Apocalypse to win the title.”

Knots: “We’re going to find out. One way or another.”

Regan then gets up and looks out as Aaron Demitra, the official for the match, raises her arm. She holds it up before walking over to the ropes and leaning on them. Mikaela enters and goes over to her. Regan just nods as she backs up and looks around as Damian stirs.

“The Old Me” by Memphis May Fire plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A shot of Owen Cruze with the SCW World Championship over his shoulder, talking to Peyton Rice, who has her TV Championship, is shown. Owen then nods and starts to head off down the hallway.

Sharper: “There’s our new World Champion. He found out what awaits him at Under Attack. Owen Cruze will make his first public appearance and statement as the World Champion, next, here on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

The lights straight to flicker in the arena as “The show must go on” the SCW / Maserati Remix kicks in over the PA system, the opening beats bringing a huge cheer from the fans

“Empty spaces, what are we living for?
Abandoned places, I guess we know the score, on and on
Does anybody know what we are looking for?”

Owen steps out onto the stage to an even louder outpouring of noise, looking left and right at the fans and nodding in acknowledgment of their support. The SCW World Championship is over his shoulder.

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, the new SCW World Champion, Owen Cruze!”

He drops to one knee and punches the stage, as a huge burst of pyro erupts behind him. Owen getting to his feet and walking down the ramp, only focussed on the ring. Owen continues to head to the ring and runs up the steel steps. He looks around and smiles as he scans the arena before entering the ring. Owen Cruze walks across the ring and looks around before going to the middle rope and throwing his arms in the air, hoisting the SCW World Championship over his head. He then throws it over his shoulder and hops down before heading across the ring and going to the opposite side of the ring. He steps up and climbs up to the middle rope again and holds the title over his head. The crowd cheers some more.

Sharper: “Proudly holding the SCW World Championship!”

Knots: “Just think, only a year and a half into his career and he’s World Champion. Not as impressive as Alistaire Allocco, doing it after a few weeks, but still!”

Owen hops down and walks over to the far corner and is handed a microphone by Jason Phillips. He takes it and walks back over to the middle of the ring. The music fades out as he looks around, the crowd cheering him. An “Owen!” chant begins to echo as he looks around and nods. He then motions to the crowd to keep going and they do, chanting for several moments longer. Owen then brings the microphone to his mouth.

Owen: “That, I’ll admit, sounds pretty damn good!”

The crowd roars.

Owen: “And to be honest, it feels pretty damn good to be standing here as the SCW World Champion!”

The crowd cheers some more. Owen looks at the title on his shoulder before then taking a moment to look up to the ceiling and nodding before looking around, and enjoying the cheers.

Sharper: “Looking up to the heavens. He’s been through a lot that young man.”

Owen: “And honestly, the only thing that’s bittersweet about this is that I had to stop the reign of Alistaire’s. I mean the guy for all of our issues in the past, and the fact that he’s shown an ability to have my number, at least until Apocalypse…he was standing for exactly what the person who holds this title stands for. He relished opportunities to give hard workers their shot. To give people who didn’t bitch all the time their due. He had integrity, the same integrity I will hold this title with too. And Alistaire, I may have beat you at Apocalypse, but know full well I have all of the respect in the world for what you did…when you stood at the end of Apocalypse, had every reason to be upset. I ended your reign I know a long time earlier than you wanted and you held my hand high. You proved that we’re doing something right. People saw what Xander Valentine did. By the end of our match, people were talking about us!”

The crowd cheers some more as Owen walks around the ring a bit.

Owen: “But all of that, Alistaire has to be in the past, because as you know just as well. Heck, everyone in this match knows…there’s a target now on my back and it just got pretty big when at Under Attack, I’ll be making my first title defense against five people who all want to walk out with this title and all but one have held it. Two crave it. One wants to get back to the top. One wants to win it for the first time….and then there are Alistaire and I…two people who want to ensure that this title is held by a true champion.”

The crowd cheers.

Owen: “And unfortunately, Alistaire, that will remain being me. Unfortunately, to everyone, it’s going to be me. Look, I’m not going to stand here and say I’m perfect or I’m the greatest. I’m not someone who frankly needs everything to be about them like two people in this match. And Sienna, Syren…I’ll call you out by name! But I know I hold this title with more pride than either of you do. I hold it in a way I can only hope my father in pleased in and when I walk into the Chamber in two and a half weeks, I will do anything to hold onto it and make sure that I hold onto this!”

Owen holds up the title.

Rise!!!!
Look deep into his eyes!
Rise!!!!
Look deep into his eyes, that's where the fire lies!

“Eyes Like Fire” by Collision of Innocence plays throughout the arena. We see Adam Allocco starting to walk out before Alistaire Allocco steps out behind him and spins around him and stops him. We then notice Adam has a microphone in his hand. Alistaire sternly says something to him. Allocco just nods and hands Alistaire the microphone. Owen watches this play out as Alistaire turns, microphone in his hand, and continues to the ring. Adam is a few steps behind him, a bit dejected.

Sharper: “The former World Champion on his way to the ring.”

Knots: “Adam Allocco was going to do something. Alistaire stopped him.”

Sharper: “Adam’s been pretty clear that Owen just got lucky. Alistaire however was in the ring and knows what really happened. He wasn’t lucky. He was better.”

Alistaire walks up the steel steps and then wipes his feet before entering the ring. Adam hops onto the apron and just enters the ring. Alistaire looks at Owen as he glances at the World Championship. Owen and him lock eyes briefly before Alistaire nods and extends his hand. Owen shakes it. Alistaire then brings the microphone to his mouth.

Alistaire: “Owen….Congratulations.”

The crowd cheers. Owen smiles a bit.

Alistaire: “At Apocalypse, there are no excuses. You were better. You beat me and you now hold that World Championship.”

The crowd cheers, while some boo. Owen continue to listen.

Alistaire: “The only disappointment I have is in myself as I know, I’ve proven it, that I can beat you.”

Alistaire pauses again.

Alistaire: “And at Under Attack, I have a simple goal, Owen. It’s that you and I end that Chamber match as the final two. So we can remove doubt. You’ve said it, I can beat you. We know you can beat me. But as any competitor knows, they always are geared to want to know who is better. And Owen…I want to find just that out.”

Owen: “I hope for the same-“

Female voice: “Oh please. We already know who is better.”

The crowd boos as Syren steps out on the stage, microphone in her hand.

Syren: “One win at Rise to Greatness, a lucky shot….needing to rely the work of everyone to pin me at Retribution….no…one on one, I am better than both of you!”

Syren looks down at the ring.

Syren: “All that this is at Under Attack is the next challenge that I will conquer. It’s what I do. Yeah, you’re both snickering…thinking Aaron Blackbourne beat me. I’m losing it. No…I know exactly where I stand!”

The crowd boos.

Owen: “You’re standing on the wrong side of everything these days Syren.”

Syren: “No, Owen…you are. See, this little title reign, it’s going to be footnote. We’re all going to talk about how Owen Cruze is the youngest champion, a great talent, blah, blah, blah. Finally got over the hump. But after Under Attack, we’re going to find out that you are just the placeholder for me to get my title back. See, if I have to go through all five of you to get back what is effectively mine, I will. Owen, Alistaire, Glory, James….Sienna….All of you will find out that I am the Greatest Wrestler in the World Today. PERIOD! And I will be winning my eighth World Championship and setting a new record for greatness that neither of you, nor anyone else, will EVER surpass!”

The crowd boos.

Syren: “So be totally…”

Syren goes to turn to return to the back, dismissing Owen and Alistaire.

Syren: “JEA-“

Syren stops as the crowd cheers as James Evans walks out from the darkened area by the curtain and out into the spotlight. He just looks at Syren. The crowd cheers loudly. Alistaire steps over to the ropes, almost ready to go to the floor.

Sharper: “James Evans I’m sure has heard enough of Syren.”

Knots: “She’s stopped dead in her tracks!”

Sharper: “James is just standing there. Syren stopped in mid-sentence!”

Syren backs away, looking around as James places his hands in his pockets and looks at her. He then motions for her to finish. James even can be seen telling her to do just that. Syren looks around before glancing at the ring. Owen and Alistaire have a look more of concern than anger toward Syren. The crowd cheers as Syren continues to consider her options.

Sharper: “Wait a minute…we have something going on backstage…”

Knots: “But I want Syren to finish! I want to see what James may have to say!”

Backstage, though, we see Sienna Swann standing in one of the hallways as a camera films her with another blonde. Sienna turns, almost to show something on her phone, revealing the other person to be Glory Braddock.

Glory: “I don’t have much to say to you.”

Sienna: “Just give me a chance. You want to make sure Syren doesn’t walk out champion. Right? Don’t care for Alistaire or Owen’s self-righteousness?”

Glory: “Not sure I’d say that.”

Sienna: “You don’t have to be polite with me. Look, we can have common ground. We’ve never had much interaction. But someone we both know very well has become close to me. See?”

Sienna then leans the phone more forcefully toward Glory. Glory looks at it and then looks a bit surprised. We then hear a voice familiar to viewers.

Female voice: “Hi Glory. Sienna figured I may be needed to help keep you intrigued.”

Glory: “Angelica.”

Angelica: “You should listen to her.”

Glory looks at Sienna. Sienna smiles as the scene slowly fades to black…
