“Immortals” by Fall Out Boy starts to play. We see the SCW Breakdown logo come up on the screen before we see a shot of Giovanni Aries hitting Selena Frost and Ravyn Taylor with the Down the Rabbit Hole and then showing Sienna Swann hitting the Slice of Heaven on Jake Starr. This is followed by a shot of Donovan Kayl hitting the Point Blank on an opponent before showing Syren nailing Josh Hudson with a steel chair.

We see a shot of Dylan Howell clutching the Adrenaline Championship before showing Jake Starr hitting the Shooting Five Starr on Alistaire Allocco inside the Chamber. We cut to a shot of Konrad Raab doing some shadowboxing in the ring before showing Ikiro Yoshida, Derek Adonis and Manvel in the ring with the KABLAMA Sutra. We follow up with a shot of Gable Winchester walking away from Autumn Valentine and Ryan Watson.

A shot of Christy Matthews posing in the crowd follows. Sam Raine kicking an opponent is shown before showing Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity. We then see Ace Marshall nailing someone with the One Eyed Royal.

We then see a shot of Ravyn Taylor looking down at herself, while posing in the corner before showing Har Megiddo in the ring. Shots of Kennedy Street standing in the middle of the ring posing, followed by Katie Steward posing and Kennedy Street hitting Syren with the Touch of Class is shown. This is followed with a shot of Regan Street dropping an opponent with the CATastrophe before showing Bree Lancaster nailing Marie Jones with the Classifier, followed by a shot of Blake Mason hitting the Blake Mason Experience on Thirteen before the SCW Breakdown logo comes back up on the screen. 

The scene then cuts to show the inside of Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana as we see the lights turned out as spotlights circle the arena. We then cut to a shot of fans walking through the concourse in the building and then shots of some fans purchasing merchandise at one of the many stands.

Spirit: “Just a few nights away from Apocalypse, SCW rolls into Indianapolis!”

We cut to see a shot of the inside of the Bankers Life Fieldhouse as a video plays on the big screen. We then pan back from the shot to show the SCW Studios in Toronto and Spirit Dansby and Shawn Winters at the desk.

Spirit: “Hello everyone. Spirit Dansby and Shawn Winters here in Toronto and we are just days away from the first major event following Rise to Greatness. It’s a night where Alistaire Allocco will challenge Sienna Swann for the SCW World Championship, Bianca Evans and Katie Steward will challenge Lohan Country for the World Tag Team Championship and Jake Starr will challenge Bree Lancaster for the US Championship. And Shawn, those are matches I don’t think we would’ve predicted a week ago, but it’s what Mr. D announced.”

Winters: “And some people are upset, but the fact is that this was part of a suggestion by his daughters and Mr. D revealed his youngest mentioned focusing on rematches never given in the past year or missed opportunities and matches and all of those matches, you can trace back to some other point in the last year. Alistaire Allocco never got his true rematch from the Chamber Challenge. Bianca Evans wasn’t pinned to lose the titles when she was tagging with Chad Evans. And Jake Starr versus Bree Lancaster were supposed to face for the World Title, now the US title, at Learning from History.”

Spirit: “Do you think that it’s deserving? What about Kennedy? What about the Truelove Twins?”

Winters: “You know. When I was champion, rematches were not guaranteed. And this is an interesting decision. But you mention the Truelove Twins, they lost to Lohan Country two weeks ago in a match they asked for. Kennedy, Sienna seems to have her number. The interesting one is Syren. Will this mean she’ll get her shot? She’s not gotten a title rematch after losing the title to Kennedy Street. What about situations like Marie Jones where you could argue she should get a shot at the Adrenaline Title? There are some interesting ramifications to these decisions. I don’t think anyone is going to say that Alistaire shouldn’t get a title shot. He just beat two former World Champions and nearly beat Selena Frost. But what about other situations like that?”

Spirit: “That’s one way to look at it. But at the same time, people, like Mikaela Street and Sienna Swann have been critical. Questioning why Katya has so much influence.”

Winters: “Well, a good idea is a good idea and Mr. D was receptive to it. And let’s not forget, he mentioned Sasha was there. Just attributed it to Katya. Sasha’s been on the Board of Directors for this company for nearly a decade. If I’m Sienna, if you don’t think Alistaire is deserving, you kick his ass. To Mikaela, Regan has a clean start in this company. Don’t screw it up.”

Spirit: “Speaking of Regan, she’ll be facing Owen Cruze at Apocalypse. This stems from a clash last week where Owen stood up for Dylan Howell and the comments Regan made. Owen has a big next two shows. He faces Josh Hudson tonight for a TV Title shot and then Regan this Sunday.”

Winters: “Make or break kid. This is the night you can start to make it so no one ever forgets you. Beat Josh and then Regan, you’re made. At the very least learn. You’re facing two of the most decorated champions in SCW history. If you’re not better coming out of these two, no Cruze Legacy is going to help you. You’re probably not made out for this sport.”

Spirit: “Opportunity the name of the game these days, whether you like it or not. People from established names to newcomers like Slayter McKinney want them. We’ll see what happens tonight. We’re ready in Indianapolis. Let’s head to the arena now where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots are standing by!”

The camera moves to the screen behind Spirit which shows the arena in the background. We then cut to a live shot of the arena as the camera pans the crowd.

Sharper: “Thank you Spirit and Shawn and yes, opportunity the name of the game and it continues tonight. Two huge main events. One will see AJ Helms face Selena Frost in a rematch from the road to Rise to Greatness and the other, Giovanni Aries will face Bree Lancaster.”

Knots: “So an opportunity to see how Bree Lancaster deals with Giovanni Aries!”

Sharper: “Exactly.”

A timer begins to run on the screen, counting down from five to one. A momentarily pause in darkness as “Fire It Up” by Thousand Foot Krutch begins to play, as the song begins to pick up into full swing, a quick line of pyrotechnics goes off, running down across the length of the stage. A few moments pass before Alistaire Allocco walks out from the back. He looks around and smiles as he thrusts his arm in the air. He looks around and then starts to make his way down to the ring.

Sharper: “Speaking of opportunity, this young man will challenge Sienna Swann for the World Championship at Apocalypse, looking to win his second World Championship.”

Knots: “Yeah and he won it last year. Lost it against Jake Starr .Never got a rematch and here we are. But even Allocco was a bit surprised.”

Sharper: “But confident. We heard from him a bit last week.”

Allocco walks down the rampway to the steel steps. He walks up them and along the apron before stepping into the ring. He smiles as he looks around before going to the corner and grabbing a microphone waiting for him. He turns back to the middle of the ring. His music fades out as he looks around.

Allocco: “Thank you for that great reaction. I am pleased that the fine people here in Indiana will be behind me as I regain the SCW World Championship!”

The crowd roars and boo loudly.

Allocco: “It’s been a whirlwind couple of months for me. After beating my childhood hero, Jake Starr, on Rise to Greatness, an event I watched as a child and defeating a former World Champion in James Evans, teaching him that the path of morality is the only true path to victory…I was challenged by my mentors, Cassidy and Ace to go out on my own and prove myself. And immediately, I’m given a chance to do just that. Something I know too well. Something I know I will do again and that’s win the SCW World Championship! And it’s going to happen this Sunday.”

The crowd boos some more.

Allocco: “It’s alright to be jealous of me. But you have to realize that this is just a sign of what happens when you do things the right way. You don’t need to cheat. You don’t need to rely on the extraneous. You just become the best wrestler you can be and with my personal abilities, which I can safely say, I believe are better than Sienna Swann’s, I will get the job done and you can all have a World Champion you can be proud of.”

The crowd cheers as Allocco looks around smiling. Just then, “Style” by Taylor Swift starts to play. The crowd roars and boos some more. Allocco turns to the stage as Sienna Swann steps out on the stage with the SCW World Championship in a strapless dress. She looks down at the ring as London and Paris walk out with her. Laura Steinbeck is with her too. Sienna just looks down at the ring, a microphone in her hand.

Allocco: “Wonderful for you to join me. If you’d like, come down to this ring. I promise you I wouldn’t dream of attacking you. We can enjoy a handshake in the honour of competition.”

Sienna scoffs.

Sienna: “Honour of competition? Alistaire…You need to realize something. I was going to come out and talk about something else you said, but I need to almost stop and do you a favour. This is the World Championship. I don’t care about anything except holding onto it as this title means more around my waist than anything else. But you’re going to need to think about doing anything you can imagine, which I can’t think of it being anything that impressive, because you claim you’re better than me. You safely say. Alistaire…I’m the IronAngel. I have proven time and time again I can outlast anyone on this roster and I am your World Champion after YEARS of having to wait for my true shot!”

Sienna looks down at the ring.

Allocco: “And I’m proud of you. I’m happy that you were able to achieve your goals. More people need to be happy for others. Just like when I won the title after three matches, the outpouring of support…it was lacking if I’m honest. More people need to build each other up…and Sienna…you know what…I need to do this. Please..”

Alistaire then starts to unbutton his shirt. Sienna just looks at the ring confused. London and Paris start to step up as Alistaire takes off his shirt and starts to walk to the ropes and steps through. He starts to walk up.

Sienna: “What on earth are you doing?”

Alistaire steps forward, holding his shirt.

Alistaire: “I really feel you should cover up more. You’re a champion and-“

Sienna looks down at her attire and scoffs.

Sienna: “I’m fine, Alistaire. And trust me, if I was showing off more, half this crowd would be faint. But if you take another step, I’ll give you the quickest preview of this Sunday when I give you the Kiss of an Angel!”

Alistaire stops.

Sienna: “You are going to be facing someone who should’ve been champion a long time ago. I am not unlike any other challenge you’ve ever had. You’ve had a great first year. But there is only ONE IronAngel. Only one REAL Perfect Ten. And I will be champion before, during and after we face. And Alistaire…you are not better than me!”

Sienna motions to Laura, London and Paris as Alistaire Allocco remains on the rampway as “Style” plays. Sienna turns and returns to the back with the Truelove Twins and Laura following. Alistaire watches them leave, respecting Sienna’s wishes and threat. They disappear from the stage as Alistaire looks around, his shirt in his hand. He then starts to put it back on. The music fades out as Alistaire gets his shirt on and sighs into the microphone.

Alistaire: “Don’t worry…soon you’ll have a champion that doesn’t rely on threats and need to flaunt their body, no matter how talents they are. Soon you’ll have a champion’s champion. Thank you Indianapolis!”

The crowd boos some as Alistaire looks out and waves before turning and starting to walk to the back. “Fire It Up” starts to play in the background. Allocco starts to walk to the back, a smile on his face.

The scene switches to the announce table to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Sienna Swann and Alistaire Allocco, two very different philosophies…”

Knots: “Alistaire may get eaten alive…”

Sharper: “Allocco has stunned us before and he is very good in that ring. He may be naïve at times, but Sienna Swann needs to be careful.”

Knots: “Given that she’s just beaten Kennedy twice in a row, I think she’s feeling good.”

Sharper: “We will see this Sunday. But plenty to come tonight. Two huge main events. Selena Frost faces AJ Helms. Bree Lancaster faces Giovanni Aries. But on top of that, we’ll see the debut of Redemption in team action, and a couple of huge matches in the TV Title division.”

Knots: “Owen Cruze and Josh Hudson fight for a title match in two weeks and Marie Jones looks to win it back against Alexis Quinne! All that and more here on Breakdown!”

The camera stays on them for a moment before we cut to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Owen Cruze vs. Josh Hudson

Television Championship Eliminator

“Judas" begins to filter through the sound system and out from the back steps none other than Josh Hudson, wearing a zip up jacket. He stops atop the entrance ramp, and looks out into the crowd and shakes his head, before heading down to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall, with a fifteen minute time limit, and is your TV Title Eliminator! First, representing Past, Present, Future, he is from New York City, New York, he is Josh Hudson!”

He embraces the negative reaction with outstretched arms as he makes his way down the ramp, his body turned sideways as he faces the crowd with a smirk on his face. He continues to slowly make his way to the ring, a look of determination on his face as he slides underneath the ropes. He climbs to the top rope and stares out into the crowd, shouting, "I'm the best at what I do!!!" before turning and sitting against the turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Josh Hudson stunned us last week when he attacked Xander Valentine in his tryout. But can he earn a TV title shot.”

Knots: “At least he doesn’t have to worry about Xander tonight. Xander’s not part of the roster, but he can send a message to Owen that Regan’s going to destroy him this Sunday.”

The lights dim and flicker, as a voice booms throughout the arena.

“All I ever wanted was to leave a legacy. Something with which I would be remembered”

The voice is easily recognizable, and an ‘Icon’ chant starts to roll through the arena, as Steven Coopers ‘Born to Do’ kicks in, Owen Cruze stepping nervously out onto the stage.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Los Angeles, California, he is Owen Cruze!”

With a simple nod and a salute, Owen makes his way down the rampway towards the ring. Owen jumps up onto the apron and turns, leaning back against the ropes, his arms either side of him. Owen steps into the ring and makes his way to every side of the ring applauding the fans with a huge grin on his face before standing in the center of the ring, and looking up at the arena lights nodding his head. Owen then runs to the ropes and bounces off them, before heading to his corner and waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Owen ready to go. This could be a huge opportunity for him to earn a shot at his first title. He said this was a goal a few weeks ago.”

Knots: “Yeah, but if Josh and Regan finish him off in the next couple of days, that’s down the drain.”

Owen looks at Josh as Josh smirks and walks along the ropes. The bell sounds. Owen watches Josh and the two circle the ring a bit. They lunge and lock up in the middle of the ring with a collar and elbow tie-up. Josh pushes back and into a side headlock. He pulls back on Owen. He then looks down before using his free hand to paintbrush Owen’s head. Owen pulls away and Owen backs up and Josh Hudson smirks. Owen lunges again and Josh ducks down and around before lifting him up with a waistlock and spins him down into the mat. She spins through and into a front face lock. He then pulls up and looks around. He holds on and Owen reaches around. Hudson starts to get his legs under him. Owen keeps trying to fight, but Hudson pulls up some more and then hooks him up and hits a single-arm suplex. Owen rolls over and to the corner.

Sharper: “Hudson right now showing Owen what his experience and skill can give him.”

Knots: “Just eating him up. Hudson just outwrestling him.”

Sharper: “Owen can try to go toe to toe with Josh. He’s got to use that speed.”

Owen starts to get up. Hudson walks over to him and drives his forearm into the jaw of Owen. Owen falls back and Hudson starts to grind his forearm into the face of Owen. Owen struggles a bit as the referee calls for the break.

Hudson pulls away. Owen winces a bit. Hudson walks over and kicks him in the ribs. He whips him across the ring and into the opposite corner. Hudson runs after and nails him with a hard clothesline. Owen stumbles out and Hudson shoves him down. Owen rolls over and Hudson goes for the pin.

Owen kicks out. Hudson looks down and grabs him and smacks him in the back of the head and then again. Hudson then spins him around and into the ropes before firing him off. Owen bounces off. Hudson goes for a clothesline. Owen ducks and bounces off the other side and Hudson turns and Owen jumps up and wraps around him before hitting a DDT. The crowd roars. Hudson rolls over.

Sharper: “Huge DDT! Owen using his momentum to take down Josh!”

Knots: “Spun around and planted him!”

Hudson stirs. He starts to get up and Owen nails him with a hard right and then a left before another right. He grabs Hudson and pushes him into the ropes and fires him across the ring. Hudson bounces off and Owen goes for a clothesline, and connects. Hudson hits the mat and turns and Owen snapmares him over and dropkicks him in the back of the head. Hudson holds his head and rolls out of the ring. Owen gets up and looks at him as Hudson holds his head and looks around. The crowd cheers.(1)

Sharper: “Owen exploding with his offense here.”

Knots: “Hudson doesn’t even know what to think!”

Sharper: “He’s stunned!”

Owen looks at him and Hudson walks around the ring, holding his head and then runs up to the apron, climbing up and Owen jumps up and hits a dropkick. (2) Hudson falls off the apron. He stumbles back. Owen then gets up and runs across the ring. (3) The crowd roars. He bounces off and dives over the top rope with a huge plancha onto Hudson. The crowd cheers. (1) Owen rolls through. He starts to get up. (2) Hudson stirs and Owen grabs him and pulls him up and runs him face first into the ring apron. (3) Hudson stumbles back and Owen rolls him into the ring. (4) Owen rolls in. Hudson starts to get up and Owen runs up behind him. He jumps up and grabs Hudson, forcing him back with a Zig Zag.

Sharper: “Owen forces Hudson down again!”

Knots: “The kid is doing it?!”

Owen goes for the pin.

Hudson gets his shoulder up. Owen rolls off. He starts to get up and Hudson rolls over. Owen nails him with a hard forearm shot and then another before pushing Hudson into the ropes and fires him off. Hudson bounces off the other side. Owen goes for a clothesline. Hudson ducks and spins around and grabs Owen in a waistlock before throwing him overhead with a release German suplex. Owen flips through to his stomach. Owen rolls over. He starts to get up and Hudson grabs him and throws him to the apron. Owen hits hard and Hudson runs at the ropes, slides to the floor. He then grabs Owen by the head and hits the Bite The Curb. Owen rolls back into the ring. Hudson rolls in and runs over as Owen gets up and clotheslines him down from behind. Owen hits the mat. Hudson goes for the pin.

Owen gets his shoulder up. He turns and Hudson gets up. He grabs Owen and elbows him in the back of the head.

Sharper: “Hudson just starting to again show why when he’s on, he could be challenging for the World Title.”

Knots: “We know that won’t happen. Sienna’s holding it. But Hudson is teaching Owen a few wrestling lessons.”

Hudson runs Owen into the corner and drives him face first into the top turnbuckle. Owen turns around and Hudson grabs him and whips him across the ring. Hudson runs after and Owen gets his boot up. Hudson stumbles back. Owen moves to the apron. Hudson runs back in and Owen hits a jumping pump kick to the jaw. Hudson staggers back. Owen climbs up to the top rope. He looks at Hudson. Hudson turns back and Owen hits the Cruze Missile. Hudson hits the mat. Owen goes for the pin.

Hudson gets his shoulder up. Owen rolls off. Hudson stirs and rolls over. He starts to get up and Owen turns back to him and nails him with a hard right and then another. He then jumps up and hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

Hudson kicks out. Both get up and Owen jumps up for another hurricanrana, but Hudson catches him and hits a release powerbomb before Hudson stumbles over and falls to the ropes.

Sharper: “Owen went to the same well again and Hudson caught him!”

Knots: “First got a two. Second may be a win for Hudson!”

Hudson then walks over and drops down for the pin.

Owen gets his shoulder up. Hudson looks at him and then pulls him up. He then drags him to his feet and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. He pulls him in and onto his shoulders. Owen however fights it off and elbows his way out of it. Hudson spins around and Owen then lunges and superkicks Hudson. The crowd roars. Owen goes for the pin. We then see Regan Street running out from the back.

Hudson gets his shoulder up. Regan slides into the ring. Owen turns and goes to go after her, but Regan quickly rolls over and out of the ring. Owen flinches, misreading it and figuring it’s an attack, but Regan just backs up the barricade. Owen then grits his teeth, realizing that was a distraction only to turn around and Hudson hoists him up and hits the Kingdom Come. The crowd ohs and boos. Hudson goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Regan coming in. And with a distraction. Knowing that Owen would be on edge waiting for it!”

Knots: “And Hudson with the Kingdom Come. Not getting out of this one!”

Hudson hooks the leg.

The crowd boos as Hudson rolls off and Owen rolls over. Regan smirks and rolls into the ring. Hudson gets up and has his arm raised.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and next challenger for the SCW Television Championship, Josh Hudson!”

Regan walks over to Owen and stands at his head and looks down at him. Hudson pulls away and turns to Regan. Regan just smirks as Hudson looks at her. Regan shrugs and then grabs him and pulls him up. Owen tries to fight, but Regan immediately grabs him and hits the CATastrophe. The crowd ohs and boos. Regan rolls over.

Sharper: “Adding injury to insult! Owen had this match, but Josh Hudson and Regan Street, veterans, making sure Owen didn’t get that.”

Knots: “A message sent to say the least. He’s started a bad war to start!”

The crowd continues to boo as Regan looks around and smirks. She and Josh high-five before they start to exit. The referee checks on Owen as Regan and Hudson walk to the back.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Josh Hudson walking backstage. Regan is not with him. He’s still in his gear as Jessica Winters heads over to him.

Jessica: “Josh, can I get a word?”

Josh smirks as he walks over and looks in the camera.

Josh: “What? Owen Cruze got what was coming to him. First rule of this sport. You shut up to anyone bigger and badder than you and the veterans in the game. And this Sunday, Regan will finish the job.”

Jessica: “That’s not exactly what I wanted to ask you about. You attacked Xander Valentine last week.”

Josh chuckles a bit.

Josh: “That disappoint sack of bones that was pissing in my ring. That’s what I attacked last week. I saw someone who used to be the most feared person in this sport. And I beat him then. Hell, it used to mean something to face Xander Valentine. It was that way until he just fell to Alexis Quinne and Ravyn Taylor. People who outsmarted him. And then he’s fired and he comes crawling back, demanding a job. Going through the hoops we give every dreamer in this business. And he’s desperate to face anyone.”

Josh pauses.

Josh: “I used to respect Xander Valentine. Now, I have more respect for what I expel into a toilet in the morning. He’s a disgrace and hopefully he got the hint when I handed him his ass, that his time is not just done, but he should just go home and stay there. Maybe get into knitting.”

Josh shakes his head.

Josh: “But I don’t think he will. Rumour has it that he demanded my ass to anyone who could hear it. If he wants me to be more than just the person who showed he was mortal when he first came in and now, destroy what’s left of any shred of immortality he had…I have no problem reminding everyone that I’m the only legend in SCW history people should pay attention to. Owen Cruze just learned that lesson. I said about respecting veterans…Xander should take note of that too.”

Josh Hudson turns and walks off as Jessica watches him leave. The crowd boos as Hudson walks off camera.

Slayter McKinney vs. Kordellia Amida

The opening salvo of struck and sustained notes of “What Can I Do if the Fire Goes Out” by Gang Of Youths kicks in, the lights flash on and off in time. Slayter McKinney comes out with an arm raised, her back to the crowd, nodding her head in time with the struck notes and drum slams.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, from Yorkshire, United Kingdom, she is Slayter McKinney!”

The uptempo drums kick in and she makes her way down the ramp, with a hop in each energetic step, slapping hands with the fans. She rolls up on to the ring apron on her knees, gripping the rope and climbing to her feet and doing a quick, on-beat turn to the crowd. She steps in under the middle rope and climbs to the corner turnbuckle for one last pop from the crowd before leaping down, warming up and preparing in her corner for her opponent.

Sharper: “Slayter McKinney wanting competition and she’ll get it tonight.”

Knots: “Yeah. Impressed the boss too. Wanted a match. Is going to get one tonight against Kordellia Amida.”

Lights go out and unravel hits a single dim spot light moves to the entrance and shines down on Kordellia Amida. She wears a long black veil that almost completely covers her she slowly walks to the ring ignoring the fans. 

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Parts Unknown, this is Kordellia Amida!”

She calmly walks up the ring stairs and then steps under the middle rope she then slowly pulls the veil off her to reveal her face her eyes rolling back in her head as they seem like dead and pupiless. 

Sharper: “Last week, Slayter had to deal with Derek Adonis. Kordellia is a very different challenge.”

Knots: “Slayter may just have to deal with all of the unique and eccentrics in this company.”

The bell sounds. Slayter steps out and gets her hands up as Kordellia coldly looks at her. Slayter then lunges and nails her with a hard forearm before nailing her with another hard forearm and then a third. She grabs Kordellia and goes to whip her across, but Kordellia spins through at the last moment. Slayter bounces off the ropes and Kordellia nails her with a back elbow. Slayter hits the mat and rolls over, holding her jaw. She looks at Kordellia. Kordellia then calmly walks over and grabs her and nails her in the throat with a throat thrust. Slayter winces and Kordelia nails her in the ribs with a hard right to the ribs. Slayter walks out, wincing a bit.

Sharper: “Nothing fancy with any of those shots, but Kordellia making sure she gets the most out of them.”

Knots: “Already we’ve seen her do so much with less, than more. And that includes breathing, emotions or possibly sense!”

Kordellia walks over and wrenches Slayter’s arm. She then jerks on it. Slayter winces and Amida then fire her across. Slayter hits the opposite ropes, bounces off and Amida clotheslines her down. She then jumps up and goes for an elbow drop, but Slayter rolls out of the way. Kordellia slowly gets up and Slayter hits a shoot kick to her ribs. Kordellia drops to a knee and Slayter grabs Kordellia by her arm and takes her over with a judo throw. The crowd roars. She then moves into a fujiwara armbar. Kordellia struggles a bit as Slayter tries to lock it in fully, but Kordellia bridges up a bit and rolls through. Slayter backrolls through to her feet. Kordellia gets up and Slayter hits a bulldog. She goes for the pin.

Kordellia kicks out.

Sharper: “Bulldog gets a two. Slayter showing some of her submission skills too, but Kordellia just able to get out before she got it locked in.”

Knots: “Yeah, but at least got a two…before Kordellia starts to get back up.”

Kordellia pulls herself up slowly and Slayter clubs her in the back and then again. She turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Kordellia goes for a clothesline, but Slayter ducks down and spins around before hooking Kordellia and hitting a full nelson suplex into a bridge.

Kordellia gets her shoulder up and rolls over. Slayter rolls over. She looks up and the crowd ohs. Kordellia stirs and Slayter kicks her in the ribs as she gets up. Kordellia stumbles to the ropes. Slayter nails her again. She then goes to whip her across the ring. Kordellia bounces off the other side and Slayter hits a back elbow. Kordellia does go down, but spins off and falls to the ropes, shaking it off. Slayter sees this and runs at her, but Kordellia lowers her head and hoists Slayter up and hits a Samoan drop. The crowd ohs. Kordellia then gets up and turns and drives her elbow into the chest of Slayter. She goes for the lateral press.

Sharper: “Samoan throws Slayter back! Kordellia with the pin!”

Slayter kicks out. She turns and rolls over. The crowd cheers as Kordellia starts to slowly get up. Slayter looks to the crowd and pumps her fist as she starts to get the crowd behind her. Kordellia turns and clubs her in the back. She rears back and clubs her again. She then rears back and clubs her a third time. Slayter falls to a knee. Kordellia then grabs her by the hair and drags her up. She then fires her into the ropes. Slayter bounces off and Kordellia goes for the Sky High, but as she hoists her up, Slayter jumps up and wraps her legs around the head of Kordellia and snaps her over with a frankensteiner.

Sharper: “Slayter McKinney with a hell of a counter, out of that modified powerbomb attempt!”

Knots: “Kordellia is so methodical that Slayter was able to just out-agile her!”

Kordellia gets up and Slayter turns and hits a shot kick to the thigh and then runs into the ropes. She bounces off and goes up for a flying headscissors, but goes into an armbar. The crowd roars as Slayter pulls back. She starts to yells out as Kordellia grimaces and then glances and manages to fall into the corner, driving Slayter into it. The crowd ohs as Slayter rolls over. Kordellia starts to get up and looks at her arm before punching it a few time before Slayter gets up. She grabs Kordellia. Kordellia rakes her eyes. She then holds onto her before pushing her out and going for the Shisha no uta, but Slayter manages to turn and counter into the Slayer!

Sharper: “Slayer out of nowhere! Using Kordellia’s move against her! Using the momentum to twist through and plant her!”

Knots: “Well that’s something!”

Slayter follows up with a pin.

The crowd cheers as Slayter rolls off. She gets up and has her arm raised.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Slayter McKinney!”

Sharper: “An impressive counter leads to an impressive win. She wanted competition and she rose to it tonight.”

Knots: “She had some ring rust before, but tonight, she looked sharp. She had a plan. She didn’t quite get it, but she figured something else out on the fly.”

Slayter McKinney celebrates in the ring. She looks around and nods as her music plays in the background. Kordellia just remains down on the mat, having not moved at all after the move. Slayter just looks at her and then backs up and rolls out of the ring. She starts to walk up the rampway, happy as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Hana Ito standing next to Aaron Blackbourne, who gets a roar from the crowd.

Hana: “Hana Ito here with Aaron Blackbourne and Aaron, last week was a newsworthy night for you. You lost the TV Title unfortunately, but you also had a bit of a surprise waiting for you.”

Aaron: “Look, Hana. I appreciate that some fans would like to know about that, but I’m not going to start talking about my personal life.”

Hana: “Don’t need any details, but should we be talking about a new relationship in SCW? I mean, she was dressed as one of your past demon appearances.”

Aaron sighs.

Aaron: “No…nothing happened. And Scarlet, she’s an attractive young lady, but as I said to her, I’m taken and after seeing her, I left-“

Just then, we see an official walking up to Aaron .

Official: “Sorry to interrupt. Someone asked me to give you this.”

Aaron grabs an envelope from the man. We see a kiss swatch over the seal. Aaron sighs.

Hana: “Well…”

Aaron opens it up and then slides out a card from it. Aaron shakes his head and hands it to Hana. Hana reads it.

Hana: “If you enjoyed last week, how about we watch the world end together this Sunday in Chicago? There’s a hotel address here.”

Aaron: “Keep it. I won’t want it.”

Aaron turns and walks off as Hana watches him leave and then looks at the card.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage we see Sam Raine seated backstage as Crissy Gardner walks over to her and sits down next to her.

Crissy: “Geez. Could you look more disappointed?”

Sam: “Just miffed we’re not on Apocalypse. Especially after getting the win against Red Empire.”

Crissy: “Well sounds like the tag division is just getting heated up again. I’m just happy we’re on the winning side.”

Sam: “Yeah…”

Crissy: “Look…we all know what this Sunday means for any team. If Bianca and Katie win? It’s open season and we’ve got an issue still with them.”

Sam: “Yeah, wouldn’t mind knocking her down a peg still.”

Crissy: “And if its Lohan Country. Fresh challengers.”

Sam: “You’re right.”

Crissy: “So let’s do the next best thing. Go to Chicago…and make sure we get a good look at the Tag Champs. Whoever they are. I know the Truelove Twins, Redemption, whoever else will do the same.”

Sam: “And we wouldn’t want to be left out…would we?”

Sam has a sly smirk on her face.

Crissy: “Exactly.”

Crissy smiles back as the scene cuts away.

The big screen above the entrance springs into life as the lights darken, the only image we see is that of a glistening perfect world logo. We then hear a woman’s voice that sounds a lot like Kelcey Wallace over the P. A System next as she addresses the arena.

“Ladies and Gentleman, Introducing...”

.CHRIS CANNON.

The opening guitar to “Prometheus” by Audio Machine hits over the P.A system next with an explosion of sound. There’s a sudden pause and then a spotlight shines down onto the stage where we see Chris Cannon, he stands proudly on the stage with an aura of confidence about him.

Sharper: “That man will make his in-ring return this Sunday against Casterillo. Casterillo attacking Chris Cannon out of the blue and we’re still not sure why.”

Knots: “Chris Cannon even confronting him, but not giving him the respect of even responding. So there’s something there. I don’t know what though.”

The crowd cheers for the British superstar as he begins to walk down towards the ring with a confident stride in his step. Cannon high-fives a few fans hands before going to the steel steps and hopping up onto them and stepping to the apron. He looks around before entering the ring. He walks across the ring and goes over to the corner. He climbs up onto it and looks around and nods. He then jumps down. He asks for a microphone and is handed one by Jason Phillips. Cannon takes it and walks back to the middle of the ring. He then looks around. His music fades out as Cannon listens to the roar of the crowd.

Cannon: “I’m still trying to get my head wrapped around all of this!”

Cannon pauses for a moment.

Cannon: “I returned to this ring three weeks ago and announced my return to this ring after over a year and a half on the sidelines. I even had the man who put me on the shelf come to stand in front of me, face to face, not only to apologize, not only to welcome me back, but to say that he will compete against me in this ring to give me the closure I deserve.”

Cannon pauses as the crowd roars a bit.

Cannon: “And yet, when my time in this ring was done that night, I was attacked from behind not by someone I had some long history with. I was jumped by someone who has been in this company no more than two and a half months. He left me laying and then walked out of this ring.”

The crowd boos.

Cannon: “That’s fine. Maybe he’s some upstart, I thought. Maybe he’s someone who saw an opportunity. Eyes on my return to put eyes on his career. I get it. I really do. But then, the following week, when I walked out to confront him after Owen Cruze had defeated him, giving him a chance to make clear his motivations. Hell, to even take another shot to my face this time…he just left the ring, refusing to respond and further disrespecting me.”

The crowd boos as Chris Cannon looks at the crowd.

Cannon: “And now, two weeks later, not only have I gotten no answers, but I’ve gotten nothing from him. No appearances. No messages. Just silence. Is it because now that I’ve stood up to him, instead of crumbling as he figured could be the case, he’s now unsure of what to do. Is it because he wants to disrespect me more. It’s funny, I stand here in this ring, knowing full well I’m going to have my first match in nearly two years. Since I was piledriven multiple times in the Chamber structure by Blake Mason. Left needing to claw my way back to be in this position to compete. I didn’t need any more motivation to get into this ring. And if you think your attack on me left me questioning it…You don’t know the first thing about me.”

Cannon looks at the camera.

Cannon: “I watched my wife enter the SCW Hall of Fame a month and a half ago. It was the end of her career, capped off with its greatest achievement. Now, I’m just writing that chapter for myself with my return this Sunday and I have the added motivation of making you regret one act of disrespect. But Casterillo…I’ll give you one last chance to come to this ring and come to look at me, eye to eye, face to face…and share to the world why you wanted my head on August 15.”

Cannon turns to the entrance way.

Cannon: “So Casterillo…what’s it going to be? This time, the world is expecting whatever you want to do. You going to take advantage of this stage?”

Cannon looks at the entrance way still while now extending his arms, waiting for his Apocalypse opponent. The crowd looks on too, before starting to boo.

Sharper: “Cannon calling out Casterillo.”

Knots: “He is here. I know that. I’ve seen him here. He was just in a corner backstage keeping to himself.”

Sharper: “Guess he’s still there.”

Cannon just continues to look at the entrance way. He then sighs. He brings the microphone back to his mouth.

Cannon: “Well Casterillo. There was your chance. Now…all that awaits you is this Sunday, I show the world that I’m ready to pick up where I left off in the ring and all you’ll be remembered for this attack is that you made one REALLY bad decision.”

The crowd roars as Cannon turns and walks back over to the corner. “Prometheus” starts to play again. Cannon hands off the microphone to Jason Phillips. Cannon turns and starts to walk across the ring and steps through the ropes. He drops to the floor. He then starts to head to the back.

Sharper: “Cannon ready to go for this Sunday.”

Knots: “Just where’s Casterillo. Not taking another shot?”

Sharper: “Guess not.”

Cannon continues to walk up the rampway as the crowd cheers him before we cut away.

The scene opens up to see Jessica Winters standing by with Mr. D backstage outside of his office. The crowd cheers a bit.

Jessica: “Jessica Winters here with Mr. D and first off, thank you for your time.”

Mr. D: “Not a problem.”

Jessica: “First off, I should ask. Where is your daughter, Katya?”

Mr. D: “Taking some time to get situated with her studies and arrange a few things with the first week back, but she should be at Apocalypse.”

Jessica: “Great to see her keeping up with that. I was hoping to talk to her too, as in particular, the idea of your daughter seems to led to some people having an issue.”

Mr. D: “With listening to a good idea? I’m sorry, but I’ve heard it. To be fair, many people simply complain because that’s what they’re used to doing. I could’ve done the obvious and people would’ve been upset. I could have declared the champions to be undisputed forever and the champions would’ve still be upset. I don’t care. I do what I feel is best for competition and for this sport. In many cases, I feel I’ve been vindicated. Take Kennedy. She’ll receive her rematch at some point. I’m sure of it. But Sienna has her number and Kennedy can reset herself to get prepared and deal with Dante McCaffery as she wanted.”

Jessica: “What about someone like Syren? By the logic used last week, she could be deserving of a World Title shot. Or Regan and the US title?”

Mr. D: “Both options I’ll consider.”

Jessica looks a bit surprised.

Mr. D: “I stand by the decision I’ve made. Again, if you don’t agree, and this is to the roster, there are multiple great wrestlers who would love to be on this roster. Whether in Emerge or busting their ass on the indies. I still stand by what I said before. I’m done with anchors. I’m done with prima donnas. This is professional wrestling. You earn what you get.”

Jessica: “Thank you for your comments.”

Mr. D: “Thank you.”

Jessica: “Breakdown returns after this.”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as Hana Ito can be seen backing up as the camera follows her.

Hana: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Hana Ito here. We heard from Chris Cannon before the commercial break. I have found Casterillo who has remained in this area of the backstage area all night. And I’m going to try and get a word.”

She then starts to walk over to Casterillo who can be seen reading a book of some sort in a back area of the building. Hana walks over toward him.

Hana: “Casterillo…may I have a word? We just heard from Chris Cannon and he offered you an opportunity to explain your actions, but you remained back here.”

Casterillo glances over at Hana. He then glances back to his book.

Hana: “Any comments?”

Casterillo sighs and turns to Hana.

Casterillo: “I don’t care what he has to say. I do not respect him. I do not respect what he stands for. And this Sunday, all of his fanfare will be for nothing when I expose him. Just as I did Beard and just as I did to Bill Barnhart and Gothfather.”

Hana: “But why do you feel that way?”

Casterillo turns back to his book still reading. Hana looks at back at the camera before turning back.

Hana: “Casterillo?”

Casterillo ignores Hana as she then turns and backs up.

Hana: “Thank you for your time.”

Casterillo continues to ignore Hana before we cut to the ring.

The arena goes dark and strobe lights pulse through the arena as "Through Struggle" hits the speakers. The crowd erupts into raucous boos as the lights dim around the entrance ramp, smoke begins to rise. After the intro kicks in, the lights start flashing as the smoke gets thicker, after a few moments we see Andrew Raynes appear through the smoke, the Adrenaline Championship draped over his shoulder. He looks down at the ring as Dustin Adams walks out and joins him. The two then start to make their way down to the ring.

Sharper: “The SCW Adrenaline Champion, just days away, from looking to continue his reign, the longest current reign in SCW, by defending his title against Christy Matthews this Sunday.”

Knots: “Yeah and he’s on top of the world. He’s gotten through everyone. And with Dustin Adams at his side, he’s ready for everyone. Dustin even joined social media this past week!”

Sharper: “Well hot damn, that’s going to be a different maker…”

Knots: “Sarcasm is not appreciated Sharper.”

Raynes and Adams walk down the rampway and over to the ringside area. Adams hops onto the apron and then enters the ring as Raynes walks up the steel steps and thrusts his Adrenaline Championship into the air. The crowd boos him and Raynes just steps into the ring. He walks across and goes over and holds his title up again, jawing at the crowd. He then grabs a microphone, left for him on the apron by Jason Phillips, and Raynes turns back to the middle of the ring. He throws the title over his shoulder as his music fades out.

Raynes: “Gable Winchester….didn’t get it done. Dylan Howell….nope. Marie Jones? Nope. Konrad Raab? Also nope. And now Christy Matthews. This Sunday, I get to deal with Christy Matthews breathing down my neck looking to take my Adrenaline Championship. After months of getting it away from the jokes and dimwits that had held it before, someone who was synonymous with this title is coming back for it. Too bad, she’s not synonymous with it anymore. I AM.”

Raynes looks out at the crowd as they boo.

Raynes: “Sorry everyone, but you’re going to have to get used to seeing this title around my waist. I am the longest reigning current champion in SCW today!”

More boos. Raynes just smirks.

Raynes: “And Christy Matthews may have her wealth of experience. She’s a former World Champion for God’s sake. It’s just going to be that much sweeter for me when I beat her…well, that’s if she’s not already beaten herself. Look, I know I said I didn’t need Ravyn Taylor’s help. I don’t need her so-called strategies and self-importance to derail what already works. But if she wants to just make the inevitable come faster, I’m not going to have a problem. I mean, we all know I’m going to beat Christy. And if Ravyn wants to just make it immediate. Go for it. Christy’s focused on you anyway. Still upset that she wasn’t told to take you out. I don’t care about your little distractions. I care about one thing…keeping this title and you’re just making it that much easier for me.”

Raynes smirks.

Raynes: “And then we have to worry about whoever is the next poor bastard to make his way out. I’ve already sent Dylan Howell practically to the shelf. Regan just ensured it. Konrad Raab…he’s barking up different trees-“

“King of the World” by Porcelain and the Tramps starts to play and the crowd cheers. A few moments pass as Andrew turns to the entrance way as spotlights circle the arena. Andrew and Dustin turn to the entrance before we hear Christy’s voice.

Christy: “You know I’m getting sick of your cockiness.”

The crowd roars as Andrew smirks. The camera cuts to the crowd to find Christy Matthews, microphone in her hand, in the crowd with Christopher Richter behind her.

Andrew: “Not cockiness when I’ve earned it every step of the way.”

Christy: “Not when you think it’s a foregone conclusion with me. I’ve held that belt longer than you’ve even been on the roster. And Andrew, it’s something that I wouldn’t mind back around my waist. Add the added pay that I can use for my daughter’s future. Add the fact that I’ll hold SCW gold one more time. And you know what, we both know it will drive Ravyn Taylor crazy and that’s just an added cherry on top. But more importantly, I’ve learned one thing, even with Ravyn attacking me last week just because she could…when I get the chance, I’m going to enjoy knocking you down a few pegs Andrew.”

Andrew: “Not going to happen. Unlike you, people learn quickly not to mess with me and with Ravyn wanting so badly to take you out…Christy…if she doesn’t get you, I will. And trust me, it’s not going to be that hard for me!”

Christy: “I’m not too concerned about Ravyn Taylor. Sorry Andrew. But I’ve known her game for even longer than I’ve held the Adrenaline Championship. Last week…it was her lucky shot. I still hold by what I said a year and a half ago. She just can’t get it done like she used to. Her act is getting old. Just as yours is.”

Darkness engulfs the arena as we hear the eerie sound of something tapping against glass. After a few moments there comes a whisper in the sound of a woman’s voice of one short, iconic word “NEVERMORE”. With that we hear the opening from “Open Your Eyes” by Guano Apes.

“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”

The song gets stuck on the word, and is then interrupted by the deep sound of the voice of Marilyn Manson.

“Just lay your head in daddy’s lap
You’re a bad girl!”

“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as the lights come back up. We then open up to see a shot of RAvyn Taylor on the big screen from her locker room. The crowd boos seeing her. Christy just glares at the screen as Andrew smirks.

Ravyn: “Did I happen to hear my name? Did I happen to hear someone disparage it? I suppose I may have hit you harder last week than I had intended, Christy. But that’s fine…hubris is something I enjoy in my targets. If you feel that I am just old hat, then so be it. You can personally suffer for such oversights. You should listen to Andrew when he suggests that if he doesn’t get you, I will. I inverted the order to be more appropriate Andrew. No slight to you, even if you’ve already shown some poor judgment.”

The crowd boos.

Andrew: “As I’ve said, I won’t need you. But if you want to take her out, that’s on you and her.”

Christy looks on from the crowd.

Ravyn: “I appreciate such forthright response. And Christy, you should pay attention to that. Despite his poor judgment, he is a pragmatic man and one that would not mind seeing me take advantage of your obsession to teach me a lesson. I suppose I could do with a spanking, but then again, if Xander Valentine could not at Rise to Greatness…would you be able to? Then again, could anyone? Is there any reason I have been left to my own devices the last couple of weeks? Then again, it’s always bad when I’ve been thinking and I am a bad, bad girl. Christy…what do you think?”

Christy: “I think that this is not your fight, but if you want to make it yours, I’ll make you regret it, just like Andrew Raynes…hubris as you put it.”

Andrew chuckles a bit as Adams shakes his head.

Ravyn: “I suppose I should look at that as a challenge. And I love my challenges…”

Just then we hear the crowd roar and we see Tommy Valentine sliding into the ring. Christy notices this and smirks.

Christy: “Too bad you don’t have distractions of your own, Andrew.”

Andrew looks confused before he turns and Tommy runs over and hits a running forearm to Andrew, knocking him down. Adams turns and grabs Tommy and pushes him into the corner and shoulders him in the ribs and then again. Andrew rolls out of the ring.

Sharper: “Tommy Valentine from the crowd!”

Knots: “First he went after them with a chair last week, and now tonight!”

Sharper: “After Andrew Raynes got disqualified last week with that chair!”

Dustin pulls Tommy out and goes to whip him across, but Tommy stops and pulls him in and goes for the Griever’s Bane, but Dustin pushes him off. Tommy falls into the corner and Dustin rolls out of the ring. He turns and checks on Andrew as Andrew pulls away. Tommy gets up and looks over as Andrew looks at Christy and then back to Tommy. The crowd cheers as Tommy looks on. Christy smiles as she turns and heads up the walkway she’s in. Andrew continues back off with Dustin starting to head to the ring. Andrew turns and grabs Dustin and pulls him back. Dustin keeps glaring at Tommy before we cut away.

“Immortals” by Fall Out Boy plays as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen. A still for AJ Helms vs. Selena Frost comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Tommy Valentine getting some shots in on Andrew Raynes and nearly Dustin Adams. Adams wants to fight, but next, AJ Helms, he’ll get a second shot at Selena Frost. Two months ago, he nearly beat her. Selena Frost and AJ Helms meet, next. And Giovanni Aries I’m sure will be watching!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

The scene opens up backstage as Damian Angel steps forward, his face illuminated by what appears to be a flame flickering off camera. The shadows of Kali, Malphas and Behemoth can be seen in the background. Damian just shares a brief smirk.

Damian: “Not much time left. Did anyone think we would be here?”

Damian pauses.

Damian: “Days away from Donovan Kayl revealing that the Cornerstone is shattered, never to be rebuild, reformed and just replaced. The flicker of a great career about to just become a footnote.”

Damian pauses again.

Damian: “But some hold onto this façade that all is the same. Nevermind he was nearly cast away as an anchor, he’s been placed up against me in hopes he’ll show. But what happens when he doesn’t? I said I would rock SCW to its very foundation and I have taken out its cornerstone.”

Damian then reaches off camera and the flickering flame disappears, leading to darkness.

Damian: “The fire that was inside of Donovan Kayl is extinguished…and I’m just getting started.”

The camera remains focused on the darkness for a few moments longer before the scene changes.

AJ Helms vs. Selena Frost

The lights in the arena cut completely and silence fills the room for a moment before “Rise Up” by Asking Alexandria blasts over the speaker system and the crash of the first drumbeat triggers a single spotlight on the stage. In the spotlight, we see AJ Helms standing with his back to the fans, the hood of his sleeveless jacket up over his head. In one fluid motion he spins around and stoops for a minute before throwing the hood back and his arms up in the Self High Five. He holds the pose for a second before jumping and breaking the hands apart, single pyros erupting with a ‘Bang’ on either side of the stage, which trigger the house lights to raise again as AJ smirks and starts to make his way to the ring. 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, representing Past, Present, Future, from Asbury Park, New Jersey, now fighting out of Hollywood California; he is AJ Helms!”

Reaching the bottom of the ramp, AJ gives a burst of speed and runs to the ring, jumping up and sliding in leg first before popping back up and running to the corner where he scales the turnbuckles and throws his arms into another Self High Five. He pushes back as he breaks the hands apart and turns to land facing the middle of the ring again. Walking over to the ropes, he leans into the camera at ringside and mouths the word “BANG” into it before removing his jacket and handing it off to the outside. Turning, he settles back into the corner and waits for the start of the match. 

Sharper: “AJ Helms has a chance to get that win he couldn’t two months ago. Alexis Quinne won’t be running in here and Selena won’t be focused on Regan Street on the floor. We’ll get a better sense in this one.”

Knots: “Yeah. But Giovanni Aries is lurking for Selena. That’s the problem for her. Someone is always looking to kick her ass. Believe it!”

"BELIEVE IT!"

At the sound of the familiar call, the true-believers are immediately on their feet in cheers as "What I Believe" by Skillet brings forth a barrage purple-blue lights in the design of snowflakes across the arena. From the back, out walks The Snow Queen, herself, Selena Frost. With a twirl amongst the lights and snowflakes, Frost slowly strolls down the ramp, her platinum-white hair in a long-braid swishing this way and that as the lights bounce off the ice-shard cape she wears. 

Phillips: “His opponent, from Nome Alaska, she is the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

Looking around the arena, Selena smiles at the voice of her true-believers before sliding into the ring. Inside, the Winter Diamond is quickly on her feet, stepping into the center of the ring as all the snowflake-lights rush to form a large blue-white snowflake-shaped light over Selena. Raising her arms, the Defier of Worlds looks up at the lights before they return to normal. With a smile, Selena removes her ice-shard cape, folding it and placing it aside before returning her attention to the ring.

Sharper: “Selena Frost seems focused. Going to have to be, but again, Giovanni Aries, you mentioned it, Jon, he’ll be watching.”

Knots: “Then AJ can take advantage.”

The bell sounds. AJ lunges at Selena and Selena just watches him. AJ steps back, feigning an attack before the two circle a bit. They lunge and AJ goes to grab at Selena, but Selena ducks down and around AJ. She then grabs his arm and wrenches it. The crowd looks on as AJ winces and flips forward and nips up and then turns and wrenches Selena’s arm. She winces as AJ holds on and Selena moves towards the ropes, grabs the top rope and hits a backflip before ducking under and into a hammerlock. Selena then pushes him forward. AJ hits the ropes. He turns back and goes for a hard right, but Selena ducks and spins around. AJ turns and Selena hits a dropkick, knocking him down. He rolls over and Selena goes for the pin.

AJ kicks out. Both get up and Selena kicks him in the ribs. She then wrenches his arm and goes for a back kick, but AJ ducks and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and Selena hits a spinning heel kick. AJ hits the mat and rolls over and to the ropes.

Sharper: “Selena Frost! Hard kicks, big spinning heel kick and AJ Helms was trying to get going with the speed, but she saw it coming!”

Knots: “Just caught him under the jaw!”

AJ Helms grabs at the ropes. Selena walks over and spins him around and kicks him in the ribs .She then hits a shoot kick to the thigh. AJ winces. Selena grabs him and snapmares him over and then hits a dropkick to the back of his head. She goes for the pin.

AJ kicks out. Selena gets up as AJ rolls over. Selena turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and AJ gets to his feet as Selena jumps up and goes for a flying headscissors. AJ flips down and into the corner. AJ starts to get up and Selena runs over and AJ gets an elbow up. Selena stumbles back. AJ leans at the corner. Selena turns back and AJ kicks her in the ribs and then scoops her up and slams her down. AJ then turns and springboards to the top rope. He looks around and smirks before just jumping down to his feet as Selena gets up. He then nails her with a hard right.

Sharper: “There’s that attitude. Just drilling Selena in the jaw after messing with this crowd.”

Knots: “Why not? They’re all believing in Selena. They believed he’d go for the top. They’re happy when he’s flying all over. But when he’s standing for his family, not so much.”

Selena starts to get up and Helms kicks her in the ribs, hooks her up and hits a snap suplex. He then runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a flipping leg drop. He goes for the pin.

Selena kicks out. AJ turns and gets up and elbows her in the chest. Selena rolls over and AJ walks over and picks her up. He whips her into the ropes. Selena bounces off and AJ hits a back elbow. Selena hits the mat and AJ stands next to her and hits a standing moonsault. He goes for the pin.

Selena kicks out again. AJ then grabs her and holds her by the head and starts to get up. He then spins her into the corner. AJ follows and kicks her in the ribs and then again and again.

Sharper: “AJ keeping Selena in the corner.”

Knots: “For now. Looks like he’s going to send her flying and AJ trying to turn this into his match.”

AJ grabs Selena and whips her across the ring. AJ runs after and Selena jumps up at the opposite corner and floats up. AJ stops and Selena’s legs lands on his shoulders. She flips forward and sends him face first into the top turnbuckle. He staggers back and Selena gets up and jumps up and hits an enziguri kick. AJ flips forward. Selena goes for the pin.

AJ gets his shoulder up. Selena rolls off and turns and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope. AJ starts to get up and Selena dives off and lands on his shoulders, twists and takes him over with a hurricanrana into a pin.

AJ kicks out. Both get up and Selena runs past him. AJ turns around as Selena jumps to the top rope and dives back and goes for a leg lariat, but AJ ducks. Selena hits the mat. She rolls over and AJ jumps to the top rope and dives back, twisting in the air, with the springboard flying forearm. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Both using the springboard, but AJ had it scouted and AJ then hit a huge forearm of his own.”

Knots: “Just caught her in the face. Selena may be out!”

Sharper: “Not going for the pin though.”

AJ gets up and smiles before stomping her in the back and then again. Selena rolls over. AJ then grabs her and pulls her up and scoops her up and places her in the corner in the tree of woe. The crowd boos some as Selena reaches around. AJ then kicks her in the chest and then again and again. He smirks as he walks around the ring, looking out at the crowd. She gets over to the opposite corner and then turns and runs across and goes for the hesitation dropkick and connects. The crowd ohs. Selena just drops and rolls over. AJ grabs her by the leg and drags her out of the corner. He then drops down and hooks the leg.

Selena gets her shoulder up. AJ rolls off and looks out. He then starts to get up and shakes his head. He then scoops her up and slams her down in front of the corner. AJ then turns and exits to the apron. He starts to climb up to the top rope. The crowd looks on and some cheer, while others boo as he gets to the top. He looks around before mockingly chanting “We believe! We believe!” and then dives off for the GFAP! Selena out of the way and AJ hits the mat hard.

Sharper: “GFAP missed. More like G-Splat!”

Knots: “Hey! Leave the jokes to me. AJ could be hurt! Selena moving out of the way!”

AJ rolls over, holding his lower back and Selena grabs him and hits the Claim-Stake. The crowd ohs and AJ staggers back and Selena watches him as she runs to the ropes, jumps to the top rope and dives back, nailing him with the Defying Gravity. AJ gets caught with the heel and he just drops to the mat and rolls over. He then falls to the mat again. The referee checks at him as Selena turns to go after him. The official checks on him again and then immediately calls for the bell. Selena just looks at him and backs up, giving him space as the official turns and tells Phillips the decision.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via knockout, Selena Frost!”

Selena looks at AJ as the official checks on him. Selena then looks around before we suddenly hear Giovanni Aries’ voice coming from somewhere, echoing through the PA System.

Giovanni: “Of course, you need to dim the lights of one of the so-called promising stars. Affiliated with a past problem…and the Lizard King asks and you deliver. Ending his thoughts…removing his ability to even consider the Wonderland…to unplug from this Kingdom….Pathetic!”

Selena looks around before then turning and asking for a microphone.

Giovanni: “This smacks of the Lizard King and his efforts. No one can stand against him. Ever. In the past, the present…or the future!”

The crowd roars a bit.

Selena: “Giovanni! Where are you?”

Giovanni: “Don’t worry, Selena. You will see me later. I’ve been told I need to be protected…more of the Lizard King’s LIES. You’re the only one who needs to be protected and he knows that. He knows that when I DESTROY ONE OF HIS GENERALS…his favourite…after the fall of Kennedy Street from holding his trinket…his greatest symbol…He’ll have to deal with me himself.”

Selena: “Would you stop with this ridiculousness? Your problem is with me. You’re attacking people because of these delusions. Mr. D is no Lizard King-“

Giovanni: “Spoken as one of his allies! I SEE HIM FOR WHAT HE IS….And Giovanni is not going to screw this up…I’m going to make sure the world knows it too!”

Selena: “Not if I have anything to say about it. It has nothing to do with being his pawn or his general…It has everything to do with not letting a lunatic destroy people’s lives because he can’t control himself! And Giovanni…you’ve found out time and time again, I won’t back down. I won’t back down at Apocalypse….and if you want me tonight…I won’t back down either. BELIEVE IT!”

Giovanni starts to cackle as we cut to see Selena Frost looking around.

Giovanni: “Spoken as someone who BELIEVES they have right on their side…when they are anything but! You will back down at some point. You’ll either be beaten into accepting the Lizard King’s true form…or he’ll show his true form himself. And at that point, Giovanni would offer you the Wonderland…I just offer you destruction.”

Giovanni cackles again as the cackling continues. Selena just looks around.

Sharper: “Giovanni Aries has lost it.”

Knots: “He had it before?”

Sharper: “Well, good point, but since losing to Kennedy Street, Jules has taken over, and there’s no reason with him. All destruction, all pain…”

Knots: “All Lizard King. And Selena Frost has to deal with it. She stood up for it! She volunteered for this!”

The cackling continues as the crowd continues to chant starting with a “Lizard King!” before dueling “We Believe” chants begin. Selena looks around as AJ Helms continues to be helped out and the scene fades out.

The Breakdown logo comes across the screen.

Voice: “Still to come on Breakdown…”

A shot of Giovanni Aries cackling is shown before cutting to a shot of Bree Lancaster scowling while looking at the fans, holding her US Championship in her hand.

Voice: “Our main event will see Giovanni Aries continue his fight against the Lizard King against Bree Lancaster, the SCW United States Champion. And…”

A shot of Marie Jones come up before Alexis Quinne holding the SCW Television Championship, celebrating from last week follows.

Voice: “The SCW Television Championship will be on the line when Marie Jones challenges Alexis Quinne.”

Shots of Syren, Ikiro Yoshida, Jake Starr, Kennedy Street and others come up on the screen.

Voice: “All that and much more when Breakdown returns from Indianapolis!”

The Breakdown logo comes across the screen before fading out.

COMMERCIALS

The cameras pan down as Breakdown returns, live from the SCW Studios in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The camera pans down to see Spirit Dansby and Shawn Winters in the studio, behind the desk.

Spirit: “Welcome back to Toronto. Midpoint of the show. Spirit Dansby here with Shawn Winters and what do you think so far, Shawn?”

Shawn: “Selena may still be as dangerous as ever in that ring, but Giovanni Aries may be a few clicks more. He’s channeling something right now that is just scary and this Lizard King thing, it was something we laughed at before. We may have had fun with it. We maybe didn’t take it seriously. It’s now deadly serious and he sees Selena as someone in his way.”

Spirit: “We will see what happens when Giovanni Aries faces Bree Lancaster later tonight in our main event. But this Sunday, Apocalypse comes to you live from Chicago. It will be a big night, and one of the big matches….it’s going to see Giovanni Aries and Selena Frost finally clash.”

The SCW Apocalypse logo comes up on the screen as “Not Dead Yet” by Ledger plays in the background. A few moments pass before stills of each of the matches come up on the screen.

Selena Frost vs. Giovanni Aries

Winters: “It’s going to be a heck of a match. Giovanni Aries sees Selena Frost as representative of the Lizard King. We know Gio sees Mr. D as the Lizard King. And after the last few weeks, with Selena standing up to him, this could be an interesting match to say the least.”

Chris Cannon vs. Casterillo

Spirit: “We’ll also see the return of Chris Cannon to an SCW ring. He faces Casterillo.”

Winters: “Casterillo says his return will be a short one. We still don’t know why. It may not matter. Casterillo has shown how sudden his offense is and for Chris, who hasn’t been in a ring in a long damn time, that could be a big problem for him.”

Cassidy Carter vs. Justin Davis

Spirit: “Justin Davis hoped that he would be facing Rachel Foxx. That’s not happening so Justin demanded to face Cassidy instead!”

Winters: “Ace Marshall will be in her corner. Davis may have just gotten himself in a match that may be more of a headache than its worth. But he’s only got so many names left on that list. Two to be sure, and he wants to face them!”

Donovan Kayl vs. Damian Angel

Spirit: “Meanwhile, we don’t know if Donovan Kayl will be there, but Damian Angel will be. They are scheduled to compete this Sunday.”

Winters: “This tells me that Donovan Kayl hasn’t formally retired. I can’t see SCW promoting this match otherwise. But Damian Angel said Kayl was a coward last week. Will Kayl be there this Sunday?”

Blake Mason vs. Marie Jones

Spirit: “Blake Mason challenged by Marie Jones. Blake Mason turned down a US title match and Marie Jones wanted to prove to everyone where she stands.”

Winters: “And she could be TV Champion after tonight, but she sees this as an opportunity to maybe earn a US title shot. Blake meanwhile needs to continue his momentum. He turned down a title shot. That’s a bold move too. I get why. You don’t want to face your ex. But still…big stakes for both, personally and professionally.”

Xander Valentine vs. Josh Hudson

Spirit: “This appears to be official. Xander Valentine, despite not being on the roster, will get his match against Josh Hudson. Mr. D approved it earlier tonight after hearing Josh Hudson’s comments.”

Winters: “So is Xander going to have the motivation to prove to Josh Hudson that he made a mistake or is Josh Hudson going to show that maybe he’s right and that Xander’s best days are long gone?”

Kennedy Street vs. Dante McCaffery

Spirit: “Dante McCaffery and the Network attacked and injured Jason Helms. Now, Kennedy Street demanded the opportunity to teach Dante a lesson on behalf of her friends, Jason and Amy Chastaine.”

Winters: “She could be walking into a Lion’s Den. They’re affiliated, albeit loosely, and that’s dependant on the situation with Max Kane, with the Beauty Factory. Kennedy Street also has her reasons, but this could be one where Kennedy may regret wanting to do the right thing.”

Regan Street vs. Owen Cruze

Spirit: “Owen Cruze stood up to Regan Street. I don’t know how smart that was. They’re facing this Sunday and we’ve already seen Regan send a message earlier.”

Winters: “Owen Cruze is going to learn. Tough fight against Josh Hudson earlier. Regan Street this Sunday. Will he make it or will he drown? And was it all worth it to stand up for Dylan Howell and question Regan Street’s influence on AJ, who was Owen’s friend…is he still?”

Jake Starr vs. Bree Lancaster

SCW United States Championship

Spirit: “Jake Starr challenges Bree Lancaster for the SCW United States Championship.”

Winters: “A match that was supposed to happen at Learning from History earlier this year. It happens for the US Title. Jake Starr looks to add another title to his career list and Bree Lancaster looks to make her first successful defense as the US Champion!”

Christy Matthews vs. Andrew Raynes

SCW Adrenaline Championship

Spirit: “Christy Matthews earned the opportunity to challenge for the Adrenaline Championship. Andrew Raynes has been dominating the division for months.”

Winters: “A big challenge for Raynes. Christy Matthews has held that title a number of times, but after seeing Tommy Valentine get involved earlier and Ravyn Taylor too, who’s other rivals are going to cause a problem this Sunday?”

Bianca Evans & Katie Steward vs. Lohan Country

SCW World Tag Team Championship

Spirit: “Bianca Evans returned and shockingly after attacking Abigail Lindsay and Gigi Steward, is now teaming with Katie Steward to challenge Lohan Country for the World Tag Team Championship!”

Winters: “Bianca Evans was never pinned when she lost the tag titles with Chad Evans, then as Lexi von Aaron. Apparently, a new look, a new name, and a new outlook, she’s gotten this rematch. Katie Steward now is her partner and Lohan Country is going to have a unique challenge on their hands all while Katie Steward looks to finally win the Tag Team Championships to her Supreme Champion bid.”

Syren vs. Ikiro Yoshida

Spirit: “Nothing was solved last week, and a rematch was booked for this Sunday. Syren’s attitude is off the rails and Ikiro Yoshida seems ready to fight her again.”

Winters: “What about the masked man who resurfaced last week. We expect to hear from Syren later tonight. Maybe Ikiro, but this match has a lot of questions, few answers, and who knows what will happen when they meet in the ring this Sunday.”

Alistaire Allocco vs. Sienna Swann

SCW World Championship

Spirit: “And the World Title on the line. Sienna Swann makes her first defense as World Champion against Alistaire Allocco!”

Winters: “Allocco getting his rematch from his title loss last November. It will be an interesting challenge for Sienna. He’s beaten a number of former World Champions, but Sienna Swann has been able to get through many, establishing herself as the IronAngel. Someone is going to be sulking after this one.”

The Apocalypse logo comes back up on the screen.

Spirit: “Apocalypse will be live this Sunday! Only on pay per view. Live from Chicago. A unique night filled with opportunity.”

Winters: “Some people are going to find out if they’re ready to sink or swim.”

Spirit: “And we look forward to seeing you there. But first, plenty more to come from Indianapolis…”

We cut to a live wide shot of the crowd in Indianapolis, many starting to return to their seats.

Spirit: “I’m Spirit Dansby, with Shawn Winters. Breakdown returns after this!”

The scene then starts to fade to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as “Cynics and Critics” by Icon for Hire plays throughout the arena. We see Lexy Chapel standing in the middle of the ring, microphone in her hand as there’s a couple of ferns in the ring, a screen hanging from the ceiling between them, and two stools. On one stool, we see a microphone.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown in Indianapolis. Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots at ringside. The Chapel Show back here tonight.”

Knots: “Yeah, but it wasn’t planned. I thought Syren was supposed to join us.”

Sharper: “So did I. Then again, Lexy Chapel has been almost like Dark Fantasy’s personal interviewer in a lot of ways.”

Lexy smiles as she steps forward.

Lexy: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Chapel Show where it’s just more fun to be on top and in control!”

The crowd roars a bit.

Lexy: “Now we have a special guest tonight. Someone who thinks Syren is not a champion. Someone who has a position that many should call a hot take and I’m about ready to find out exactly why this person thinks that. See tonight, I’m going to do something a bit off the page. I’m going to interview Ikiro Yoshida! So please come out!”

The crowd cheers as Lexy Chapel points to the stage. A few moments pass before “Smooth Criminal (Violin Instrumental)” by David Garrett plays throughout the arena.

Sharper: “She’s going to interview Ikiro Yoshida? Syren’s opponent this Sunday.”

Knots: “Not what I expected at all.”

A few moments pass before we see Ikiro Yoshida walk out from the back wearing a pair of jeans, his hair in a bun, and an Ikiro Yoshida t-shirt. He looks down to the ring before glancing behind him briefly before heading to the floor. Ikiro Yoshida walks down the rampway and to the ringside area. He then pulls himself onto the apron. He steps into the ring and Lexy points to the microphone.

Lexy: “Please…take it. I want to have a chat.”

Ikiro looks at her before walking over and grabbing the microphone on the stool. He then turns to her. The crowd roars as his music starts to fade out. Lexy Chapel looks around.

Lexy: “Ikiro, thank you for joining me. I know this is short notice. But it gives you an opportunity to explain yourself.”

Ikiro: “What is there to explain…Syren….no champion.”

The crowd cheers as Lexy looks around.

Lexy: “Whoa, whoa, whoa…that’s a hot take to say the least. But why? Why isn’t Syren a champion in your book? Look, I get she’s not holding the gold, but that’s barely any fault of her own. She didn’t get the rematch she so richly deserved and she took on whoever was put in front of her. We all know if she had the rematch Kennedy Street gave her, but this company ignored, she’d be standing here as World Champion, not Sienna Swann!”

The crowd boos as Ikiro smirks a bit.

Lexy: “So Ikiro…why?”

Ikiro smirks and looks at Lexy.

Ikiro: “Because she believes that story…”

The crowd cheers.

Ikiro: “She screwed others. She’s petty!”

The crowd roars.

Ikiro: “And if she was a champion...she could face someone like EyeYoshi without old man and a masked asshole!”

The crowd cheers some more.

Ikiro: “She didn’t need to rely on some scheme to win the World Title.”

Lexy: “Hold it, hold it…that old man is one of the greatest stars in SCW history.”

Ikiro: “Is he not an old man?”

The crowd cheers. Lexy looks around.

Lexy: “She’s just making sure she gets what she deserves.”

Ikiro: “And in EyeYoshi’s mind, she deserves nothing!”

The crowd cheers. Just then, “Groupie” starts to play as Syren storms out from the back. CHBK is with her. Syren steps forward, microphone in her hand.

Syren: “What are you actually saying? You can’t possibly believe that!”

Ikiro turns and smirks. Syren starts to walk to the ring. CHBK tries to stop her, but Syren just pulls away and storms towards the ring.

Syren: “I don’t deserve to be a champion? It’s because people like you think you’re being funny. Playing to these fans. But Sienna gets her title shot immediately. I’m forced to wait. Now, Alistaire Allocco gets a rematch, all because it sounded like a good idea. I’ve had the last two champions either demand to face me or agree to face me! And I’ve not gotten that shot and we all know, one on one, I may have screwed up once, but this time, there’s no way I’m not going to make sure the result that should happen happens.”

Ikiro: “Then why the masked man. Why so little faith in your abilities?”

Syren stops and looks in the ring.

Syren: “I have every faith in my abilities. Why the masked man…to make sure I don’t get screwed again so I have to wait a year because SOMEONE else screws up or someone else wants to hold me back, like with Kennedy, now with Sienna, now with everyone.”

Syren pauses and turns to the ring.

Syren: “Doubt in my abilities. I’ll just show you right now how much I doubt anything!”

Syren then hops onto the apron. She enters the ring and Ikiro just keeps watching her and Syren turns and lunges, going for a kick. Ikiro swats it away and then Syren spins through and goes for a spinning shot with the microphone. Ikiro ducks at the last moment and Syren spins through and Ikiro hits a straight kick to the ribs, knocking her back through the ropes and to the floor. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Ikiro caught Syren with that thrust kick. Syren didn’t have an answer for that!”

Knots: “She looked confident…confident enough to get drilled!”

CHBK then goes to her and Syren winces before suddenly, we see the masked man hop over the barricade and slide into the ring from behind. Ikiro sees him on the big screen and turns around as the man grabs one of the stools and turns, nailing Ikiro in the ribs with it. Ikiro falls over and rolls over, yelling in pain. The masked man looks at him and drops the stool.

Sharper: “Damn it! That’s masked man. This was a trap, wasn’t it?”

Knots: “Trap or not, Ikiro got a shot in and that masked man, whoever he is, made sure he wasn’t going to get to stand tall!”

Ikiro rolls over in pain as Lexy turns and backs up. The masked man then looks at him before dropping down to the floor. Lexy looks at Ikiro and then the masked man before rolling to the floor. Syren just looks into the ring, glaring at Ikiro Yoshida before we then cut away.

The scene opens up as we see Regan Street walking over to the trainer’s room. She goes to open the room and storms in.

Regan: “Where is he?”

The trainer walks over.

Trainer: “Regan, please-“

Regan: “Where is my son?”

Trainer: “We’ve moved him. It’s concussion protocol. Moved him to a quieter room.”

Regan shakes her head.

Regan: “Of course…That petty bitch needed to knock my son out because she wasn’t good enough to beat me.”

Regan turns and steps out and then stops.

Regan: “Oh this is rich. Didn’t learn your lesson earlier-“

Owen Cruze is standing in the doorway.

Owen: “I figured I’d make sure my friend is alright.”

Regan: “Took you long enough. Then again, you could’ve also run out and knocked Selena out. That would’ve proven to me you give a damn about AJ.”

Owen: “It was a match. This is a contact sport-“

Regan: “And she tried to shorten my son’s career intentionally. So…try again..”

Owen: “You know what...Not worth it.”

Regan: “What? Now too good to make sure AJ’s okay?”

Owen: “Not going to waste my time speaking with a lunatic.”

Regan then lunges forward.

Regan: “What did you call me!”

Regan goes to nail Owen, who ducks and shoves her back. She falls back, but regains her footing.

Owen: “You got a problem with me. Take it up with me this Sunday. Then again, you’re so worried about me being some bad influence when you’re the one picking fights with everyone and even your own brother!”

Regan: “Yeah, walk away…coward.”

Owen brushes her off and walks off. Regan then steps up and goes to attack Owen.

Trainer: “Hey! Regan!”

Owen turns and Regan stops herself. Owen just looks at her. Regan just smirks.

Regan: “Quicker than I thought you’d be. Then again, when your uncle uses backs to bury hatchets and loves to blind side people by throwing them off stages…I should’ve expected it.”

Owen: “Keep spreading that same crap. I’m going to make sure I surprise you and the world this Sunday by proving I can beat the Hellcat in that ring!”

Owen turns and walks off as Regan just rolls her eyes, laughing as we cut away.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage we see Syren, CHBK and the Masked Man who attacked Ikiro Yoshida backstage. The crowd boos seeing them.

Syren: “Had to take a cheap shot. At least he got some message in respect-“

CHBK and the Masked man walk forward with Syren before we see Mr. D walking over with Dean Black.

Mr. D: “Well Syren, hope you had fun.”

Syren: “Hardly. When am I getting my RIGHTFULLY deserved title shot?”

Mr. D: “I’m considering it.”

Syren: “Yeah, I’m sure-“

Mr. D: “Speaking of considering, this gentlemen here. Since he’s been around a bunch, I’m of two minds. I could allow him on the roster and he could then settle things in the ring, or I could have security remove him.”

Syren: “I doubt you’re considering anything.”

Mr. D: “Oh I did one thing. Does he want a spot on the roster?”

Syren looks at Mr. D before CHBK smirks.

CHBK: “Here comes the catch.”

Mr. D: “Well he would need to unmask so we can run the appropriate paperwork.”

Syren: “Well-“

CHBK: “Sorry. Not interested.”

The Masked Man turns to CHBK a bit confused.

Mr. D: “Well then, Dean…please escort him from the building. On top of that, since he’s not part of the roster, if he shows up this Sunday, you’ll be disqualified.”

The crowd roars as Syren looks up.

Mr. D: “Want to deserve something…you know you can handle yourself in that ring.”

Dean: “Come on.”

CHBK nods to the Masked Man before he steps forward and starts to be escorted out. Mr. D turns and walks off. Syren turns to CHBK, who keeps watching them walk off and we cut away.

Maddy Steward vs. Konrad Raab

“Cold as Ice” by M.O.P plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain just wearing his blue and white mask with white hair along with his wrestling trousers with his nickname The Iceman on the front of them with Pit Bull Energy logos on the side of his trousers with black gloves on both of his hands with a side cross necklace on his neck.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. From Cologne, Germany, he is The Iceman, Konrad Raab!”

He then high fives the fans as he goes up the stairs before going in-between the ropes and does a holdup on each turnbuckle. The crowd cheers. He gets down from the turnbuckle and does a few boxing punches to the cameras before he waits for the match to start.

Sharper: “Konrad Raab about to face Maddy Steward. Gigi and Maddy may be shut out from the tag titles, but that doesn’t mean they can’t turn their attention everywhere and Maddy has wanted to make this her year.”

Knots: “She’s got a long road to travel, but still some time to do it.”

“That Girl’s a Genius” blasts through the arena and the camera pans a wide shot and to show the crowd for the youngest of the Steward clan. The camera changes as it switches to the stage entrance where Madison walks out dress in her dark black ring attire and wearing a steampunk white rabbit mask. The crowd boos, while some cheer. A faint “Lizard King” chant begins. She stops on the stage and feeds off the crowds energy that gets her pumped. She takes off down the aisle sprinting to the ring and slides inside it. She gets up on her knees and takes off her mask bopping her head to the music and smiles to the crowd. Madison picks herself up and takes off her black ring coat and gets ready for her match and her music fades out.

Sharper: “Madison Steward wearing a interesting get up.”

Knots: “Why do you want to even maybe tempt fate with Giovanni Aries?”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but she’s also out here alone. Gigi Steward is not with her.”

The bell sounds. Maddy looks at Konrad as Konrad shadow punches a bit more before getting ready. Maddy then runs at him. Konrad goes to grab her. Maddy ducks and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Raab goes for a clothesline. Maddy ducks and stops. Konrad turns and Maddy hits a dropkick. Konrad falls to the mat. He gets back up and Maddy forearms him in the jaw and then nails him again before pushing him into the corner. She climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and nails him with a couple of hard forearms before Raab shoves her off. Maddy rolls through. She gets up and runs over and goes for a monkey flip. Maddy tries and Raab turns and manages to cartwheel through. The crowd roars. Raab looks around and Maddy gets up and lunges and Raab grabs her and hip tosses her down.

Sharper: “Maddy showed his quickness. Raab just showed his agility! And then a hip toss!”

Knots: “Maddy may need to remember that Raab’s managed to develop a new repertoire lately!”

Maddy turns and Raab hip tosses her again. She rolls over and Raab pushes her into the ropes. He fires her off. Maddy bounces off the ropes and Raab lifts her up and hits a flapjack. She rolls over and Raab goes for the pin.

Maddy kicks out. Raab rolls off. Maddy moves back to the ropes and Raab grabs at her, but Maddy grabs his tights and pulls, causing Raab to fall onto the apron. The crowd roars a bit as both get up and Maddy jumps to the middle turnbuckle and jumps back with a dropkick to the jaw of Raab, knocking him off the apron and to the floor. The crowd ohs. Raab rolls over, holding his jaw in pain.

Sharper: “And springboard into the dropkick and Maddy can show off her agility there too.”

Knots: “Caught him right in the face. Mask didn’t stop anything there. May just be holding his nose together.”

Raab slowly rolls over (1) He starts to get up and Maddy climbs to the top rope. (2) She gets to the top and Raab looks up and starts to turn around and Maddy dives off the top rope with a crossbody, knocking him down. The crowd cheers. (1) Maddy rolls off. She starts to get up and Raab rolls over too. (2) She grabs him and pushes him into the ring post. (3) Maddy then walks over and grabs him and spins him into the ring. Raab rolls over. Maddy slides in. She then gets up and jumps up and hits a senton backsplash onto Raab. Maddy goes for the pin.

Raab kicks out. Maddy rolls off. Both start to get up and Maddy hits a dropkick, knocking Raab down. Maddy gets up and turns to the corner. She exits to the apron. She then climbs up to the top rope. Raab remains down and Maddy gets to the top. She then goes for the Rising Star Frog Splash, but Raab rolls out of the way. Maddy hits the mat. The crowd roars and Raab then grabs her and hits a German suplex. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Big suplex! Maddy missed and Raab with the suplex.”

Knots: “Oh God. This isn’t good. Not good for Maddy!”

Maddy rolls over and holds his head and neck and Raab gets up and runs into the ropes, bounces off and clotheslines her down. He goes for the pin.

Maddy gets her shoulder up. Raab rolls off. HE gets up and Maddy stirs and Raab pulls her head between his legs. He then hoists her up and hits a powerbomb. The crowd ohs. Raab then exits to the apron. The crowd cheers him on as he gets to the top rope. Raab looks at Maddy and dives off and hits a flying elbow drop. He connects and goes for the pin.

Maddy gets her shoulder up again. Raab rolls off and stirs. Maddy rolls over and Raab grabs her. He pulls her up and goes for another German, but Maddy elbows him in the jaw and then again. Raab however tries to just muscle her up and Maddy backflips through. She lands on her feet and ends up in the corner.

Sharper: “Raab built up momentum, but a timely counter for Maddy! She’s in the corner!”

Knots: “She landed on her feet!”

Raab gets up and Maddy runs at Raab and Raab backs up as Maddy jumps up, but Raab lifts her up. He turns and ends up catching the referee with Maddy’s foot as Maddy spins through and falls to the floor, rolling over. She turns and winces and rolls over. Raab falls to a knee and then notices the official down. He goes over to him as the crowd erupts in cheers. We then see Giovanni Aries running along the side of the rampway, on the floor. Maddy starts to get up and Giovanni runs over and clotheslines her down. The crowd roars and Maddy rolls over. She covers up as Giovanni dives over to her and nails her with repeated shots. Konrad looks up as he rolls to the floor as the official stirs.

Sharper: “Giovanni Aries! He’s running down to the ring! Assaulting Maddy!”

Knots: “She wore that rabbit deal. Giovanni took it as a slight!”

Konrad walks over and grabs Giovanni and pulls him off before Giovanni nails him in the ribs and then again and again. Konrad nails him with a couple of shots as the official looks over. He sees Giovanni and Konrad fighting and calls for the bell. Giovanni then turns and manages to turn and throws Konrad into the ringpost. He starts to go after Konrad instead.

Sharper: “I think the referee saw Giovanni and Konrad going at it. He’s called for the disqualification!”

Knots: “Konrad should’ve stayed in the ring! He just started a fight he didn’t need!”

Sharper: “He however has respect for his opponents!”

Giovanni grabs at Konrad and runs him into the ringpost. Konrad spins off and Giovanni starts to go for him before the crowd erupts in cheers again as we see Selena Frost running out from the back. Giovanni turns and Selena jumps up and nails him with a forearm shot and then another and another. Officials quickly run out after as Selena kicks Giovanni in the ribs. Giovanni spins around and turns and grabs at Selena’s hair. He nails her in the ribs with a shot before officials get around both of them and start to pull them apart.

Sharper: “Selena coming down! She’s not backing down from him at all!”

Knots: “Giovanni starting battles everywhere and Selena’s right there!”

Selena is pulled back, trying to get back at Giovanni as Giovanni is pulled back, held back in fact, and cackling at her. Selena keeps trying to get to her as the crowd roars. A “Let them fight!” chant begins as officials keep the two apart before the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Selena Frost walking backstage, a few officials with her. She then stops and turns around.

Selena: “You don’t need to follow me.”

We then see Mr. D walking over to Selena and Selena turns back. She sighs.

Selena: “You don’t need them to be shadowing me. I’m fine.”

Mr. D: “Yes, but this time, it’s to make sure you don’t go out to that ring later.”

Selena: “Look, I’m not going to do anything unless he does something. He just attacked two people for no reason.”

Mr. D: “Maddy had that damn rabbit deal. She even knew she could be poking the bear with it. She wanted to get noticed. She did. Unfortunately it happens. But given your history with PFF, now Giovanni, I don’t want you out there. They’re going to make sure. If something happens, it’ll be on me.”

Selena: “Fine…”

Selena looks at Mr. D as Selena walks off with the officials following her as we cut away.

James Evans & Angelica Jones in Action

“Alive” by POD blares through the sound system, as the crowd begins to cheer. The cameras peer behind the curtain as James Evans and Angelica Jones make their way towards the entrance stage. Stepping from behind the curtain, James and Angelica go to opposite ends of the stage, saluting the crowd before making their way down to the ring. Both enter the ring on opposite sides before climbing to the top rope in opposite corners, garnering cheers from the crowd once more as the music comes to an end.

Sharper: “James Evans made the announcement last week, just as Angelica Jones made her shocking return. They made it official that they would be teaming together.”

Knots: “This is their first match as Redemption, so we will see what they can do as a team.”

James and Angelica stare across the ring at their opponents as Roberts makes his announcement.

Roberts: “And their opponents, hailing from….the United States of America…they are Wes Goldberg and Mitch Sanders!!!”

Sharper: “Mitch Sanders and Wes Goldberg, two names from the SCW’s long history. Mitch picked up a few wins in his early years and has been seen in UWA as well as our End of the Year battle royals.”

Knots: “I remember Mitch, but Wes not so much.”

Sharper: “He was sent packing by Jay Gold.”

Knots: “I get it. That would ruin anyone’s career.”

The ref calls for the bell as Mitch and Angelica stand in the middle of the ring, James and Wes climbing to the outside. Angelica goes to lock up, but Mitch stops her before making quick pelvic thrusts toward her. The crowd boos as Angelica glares at him, looking slightly disgusted.

Mitch: “Oh come on! You know you like it!”

Angelica quickly hits a kick to Mitch’s gut, doubling him over. Angelica then runs to the ropes, before coming back and taking Mitch down with Stubborn Bitch! The crowd explodes upon impact. Angelica then goes for the cover.

Sharper: “Angelica Jones with the Shining Wizard, leveling Mitch Sanders and now going for the pin.”

2…Wes is seen climbing into the ring, prompting James to do so as well. Wes stops, putting his hands up and backing away as he smirks.

Mitch kicks out. Angelica picks Mitch up, but he fires back with a European uppercut before jumping back and tagging in Wes Goldberg. Wes grabs Angelica and whips her into the ropes before planting her with a spinebuster. He goes for the cover.

Angelica kicks out. Wes picks Angelica up and goes to whip her into the ropes again, but Angelica reverses. Wes comes back off of the ropes and Angelica takes him down with a spinning heel kick. Angelica then manages to tag in James, as the crowd cheers loudly.

Sharper: “The former SCW World Champion entering the fray now.”

Wes gets to his feet and charges at James, who plants him with his own spinebuster. Mitch enters the ring and goes for a clothesline, but James dunks under. Mitch charges across the ring only for Angelica to grab him then plant him with Resurrection. The crowd explodes.

Knots: “Dragonrana on Mitch Sanders and he is more than likely out of this thing.”

Wes gets to his feet once more, only to turn and get hit with a superkick from Angelica. Wes stumbles as he turns around, only for James to grab him and plant him with the Cataclysm. The crowd erupts as James hooks the leg.

Sharper: “They call that combination the Shot at Redemption and it looks like the returns of Wes Goldberg and Mitch Sanders are going to be short lived.”

James gets to his feet as the ref lifts his hand as well as Angelica’s, as “Alive” begins to blare through the PA system once again. James and Angelica ascend the top rope and salute the cheering crowd before climbing down and out of the ring, before heading to the back.

The scene opens up backstage as we see Cassidy Carter and Ace Marshall backstage.

Cassidy: “Can’t believe that I have to deal with him? I mean-“

Ace just mumbles through his mask.

Cassidy: “You know, you can talk. This is just some stupid game.”

Ace sighs and pulls off his mask.

Ace: “Yeah, but it hurts. Katelyn has pointy elbows….and Ikiro has a pointy foot.”

Ace rubs his jaw before we see Ace looks up. Cassidy rolls her eyes as she notices who walks in. Alistaire Allocco walks in, beaming.

Allocco: “Well, a week after you told me to prove myself…I’m just days away from becoming champion again.”

Cassidy: “Go to hell.”

Allocco: “I’m sorry, but that won’t be happening. Sienna maybe with how she flaunts her sexually, like some sort of vixen. But…how are things going for you? Find Rachel yet?”

Cassidy: “She’s pregnant. She’s not doing anything. Even when Ace and I had some fun at her house, she couldn’t waddle fast enough to catch us. She’s not fighting Davis anytime soon and now I have to deal with him.”

Allocco: “Should be a simple match for you.”

Cassidy: “Well duh, but I’m bored. Come on…”

Allocco smiles.

Allocco: “Then you can watch me win the World Championship…the tough love helped. Thank you.”

Cassidy: “Yeah…tough love…”

Allocco smiles and turns and walks off. Cassidy just rolls her eyes.

Cassidy: “Couldn’t you have said something.”

Ace: “Jaw hurts…”

Cassidy: “Funny enough, it’s a problem I never have.”

Ace: “Ouch…”

The scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, the scene opens to see Jessica Winters standing in the interview area with Kennedy Street. The crowd cheers seeing her.

Jessica: “Jessica Winters here and I am standing here with the former SCW World Champion and last week was a tough night for you. You found out that you’re not challenging for the World Champion, but Mr. D did say you would be getting one. But you then were felled by another Kiss of an Angel from Sienna Swann.”

Kennedy: “And that’s why I shouldn’t get another shot…yet. Don’t worry, I’m not standing here, feeling sorry for myself. I worked too hard to get back to this spot. Sienna got me…back to back matches with that knee and trust me, I’m going to remember it until I get a chance to give her a response in kind. It’s also why I’m happy I have a chance to step back…Sienna has my number. Good on her. And as I get ready to face her again, whenever that may be, I can make sure a few people understand that their methods aren’t going to be welcomed here much longer.”

Kennedy pauses.

Jessica: “Dante and the Network.”

Kennedy: “I don’t think I need to go over my friendship with Amy Chastaine. And they took out Jason Helms because Bree Lancaster wanted him to shut up and paid off the Network to take him out so she wouldn’t have to worry about defending the title against him. Remove an option. That’s not how a champion acts. But while Bree has Jake, Dante was free for Apocalypse and given how the Beauty Factory and Bree have been happy to work with them, I’m going to stand up for my friends. And Bree…you know what I’ve done to know…remember that Touch of Class…maybe tell Dante that that’s part of the payment of what you wanted.”

Kennedy looks at the camera.

Jessica: “Thank you for your time.”

Kennedy nods.

Jessica: “Back to the ring.”

We cut to ringside.

“The Real Thing” by Christina Aguilera plays throughout the arena as Katie video plays on the screen. The crowd rises to their feet booing. A few moments pass before TJ Johnson walks out from the back. He looks around the arena. The crowd boos him a bit more.

Sharper: “Looks like TJ is going to join us.”

Knots: “I don’t think just TJ!”

Sharper: “Doesn’t seem to even be bothered by what happened to Maddy earlier.”

TJ continues to listen to the boos before bringing the microphone to his mouth.

TJ: “Now everyone shut up and pay some respect. You’re all here about to watch history. That’s right…”

TJ looks around.

TJ: “Tonight will be the final Breakdown before Katie Steward finally gets the title that has been alluding her for too long. The SCW World Tag Team Championship! And so…without further ado, give her the warmest of welcomes…your GODDESS of Desire…your Queen of Queens and your next Supreme Champion…Katie Steward!”

The crowd roars and boos loudly as Katie’s theme music starts to play again. A few moments pass before Katie Steward walks out wearing a glorious white and gold robe. She looks around and listens to the crowd, closing her eyes and soaking it in before stopping and looking at the crowd, glaring at them. Katie keeps glaring before suddenly letting out a Goddess Scream into the microphone TJ held and the crowd boos more. Katie looks around before she holds the microphone.

Katie: “You better respect me! I am a hall of famer. I am one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of this sport and I will add one more accolade to my list of achievements this Sunday when I win the SCW World Tag Team Championship with Bianca Evans!”

The crowd boos some more. Katie looks around.

Katie: “I know that many of you are still coming down off the high of the feel good story that is the Lohan sisters winning the World Tag Team Championship and even standing up to the models who WISH they were even a fraction of what I was, but you’re about to bear witness to a better feel good story…Your Goddess achieving MORE history this Sunday.”

Katie pauses for a moment.

Katie: “And I know, you may be thinking, but with Bianca Evans? You see, she may have attacked Gigi, but in doing so, she got my attention. She got my attention by then apologizing profusely and realizing that I am the glorificent force she needed in her life. She’s upgraded from God and gotten herself a Goddess and she knew she needed to make sure she proved that she could be capable to even stand next to me. And attacking Gigi was a bold move. A move that normally would have me give someone the thrashing they deserve as I have done against Sam Raine, Crissy Gardner and so many others. But Bianca gave me something different…the opportunity I deserved and she came to me and told me that the ONLY person she could see teaming with…was her Goddess!”

The crowd boos as Katie looks around smiling proudly.

Katie: “So Bianca, I thank you for your generosity and am thrilled that there is SOMEONE in this promotion that understands the greatness than I am. So, this Sunday, I finally win the one title that has dodged me for years. The SCW World Tag Team Championship. I hope you all enjoy this moment in his history. A moment where again I rise to the occasion and prove there is no one close to me. A moment where the Steward name, again, lives on in infamy, and a night where your Goddess, your Queen takes her place as a Supreme Champion like I have deserved for ALL TOO LONG!”

Katie brings the microphone down. The crowd boos some more as Katie starts to look around.

Katie: “And Dawn, Abigail…enjoy the titles while you hold them, because after this Sunday, there’s only a Platinum Blonde and new Tag Team Champions awaiting in your future!”

The crowd boos as Katie brings the microphone back down. “The Real Thing” by Christina Aguilera plays in the background. TJ Johnson looks at Katie as Katie stands proudly on the stage.

Sharper: “She’s confident and we know a bit more why.”

Knots: “Bianca played it smart. Maybe she realized what she could offer and needed Katie for it.”

Sharper: “Katie hearing Bianca presumably speak the world of her. Gigi and Maddy now left in the cold. But Bianca Evans, we said it before, when she’s focused, she is as dangerous as anyone else in that ring. We remember the war with BAE.”

Knots: “Yeah, but Bianca and Katie, they’ve never teamed. Abigail and Dawn hadn’t before either, but they’ve had a bit more practice and let’s face it, Dawn has a long history as a tag wrestler too. Bianca…sure. But something about this doesn’t seem okay.”

Sharper: “Maybe that Katie moved on from Gigi and Maddy to bring in Bianca after Bianca attacked Gigi, and then seemingly kissed Katie’s ass!”

Knots: “We’ll find out this Sunday!”

Katie continues to pose on the stage as the camera focuses on her and TJ before the scene slowly fades out.

Backstage, Hana Ito is seen standing with Justin Davis in the backstage area.

Hana: “Hana Ito here and Justin, this Sunday, you’re going to face Cassidy Carter at Apocalypse. You wanted to face Rachel Foxx, but that’s not the case. You’re trying to complete your list before you inevitably face Josh Hudson.”

Davis: “And time is running out. Not just because I want to get this over with, but I want to face Josh Hudson and the fact of the matter is that Cassidy Carter could’ve told me months ago facing Rachel couldn’t happen. But she didn’t. She dragged me along. Ace too. And now here we are. I had a very specific group of people I wanted to face. Two remain. Rachel Foxx and Josh Hudson…”

Davis pauses.

Davis: “For now, I’m going to have to deal with facing Rachel’s former protégé. Cassidy is far different, but that’s fine. I’ll have no problem facing her and proving that I can beat someone who today is looking to make their name. I’m not giving up on Rachel…but tick tock Rachel. I’m not running on anyone else’s clock but mine…I can’t hold off on taking Josh out for much longer and trust me…that fight WILL happen no matter what!”

Hana: “Thank you Justin.”

Davis continues to look at the camera as the scene cuts out.

COMMERCIALS

The scene opens up to see the Network talking backstage in one of the hallways, seeing Savali, Ms. Budde and Dante McCaffery present. Savali then looks up as Dante turns and London and Paris Truelove walk over.

Dante: “Not who I expected?”

London: “We’re not here for business.”

Paris: “Not specifically.”

London: “No offers here.”

Paris: “Just a suggestion.”

Dante looks back at Savali and Budde. He turns back.

Dante: “I’ve taken note of what Laura suggested. She’ll have our response soon enough. Kane isn’t here.”

London: “She wants something clearer.”

Paris: “No doubts.”

Dante: “That all you came for.”

London and Paris turn to one another.

London: “No. Our suggestion is for this Sunday.”

Paris: “You’re facing Kennedy.”

Dante: “I am.”

Paris: “Maybe send her a message. Make sure she knows it.”

Dante: “That’ll cost-“

London: “It’s an investment in yourself. Sienna…”

Paris: “Bree…”

London: “They’re bored with her. And as a sign of good-will.”

Paris: “Yes…good will.”

Dante: “I got it.”

London: “Good.”

Paris: “Excellent.”

Dante: “Yeah…”

Paris and London smile before turning and stepping back. Dante watches them leave as Savali and Budde watch Dante as we cut away.

Marie Jones vs. Alexis Quinne

SCW Television Championship

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the arena. 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television Championship. First, on her way to the ring, the challenger, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Phoenix, Marie Jones!”

Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring to loud cheering from the fans. As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story.  Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring.  She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd. 

Sharper: “Marie Jones challenged Blake Mason for Apocalypse and tonight, she could walk into that match as a two-time TV Champion.”

Knots: “But she has to win tonight against Alexis Quinne and Quinne looked good last week. Marie wanted challenges. Wanted people earning it. Here we are.”

The eyes all focus on the stage as A Stranger I Remain hits over the P.A System. The lights begin to flash violet, silver and black crowd starts to buzz and cheer. As the crowd looks on and the song kicks into gear, smoke fills up the stage. The lights continue to flash black and purple. From there, the crowd sees Alexis Quinne, standing wither her back turned against the people, dressed in black and purple Varsity Jacket. The back of the jacket has a black and silver fist in the middle with "New Americana" written right below it. Alexis turns her head and we see she's wearing a half white, half black and purple V for Vendetta mask with El Rudo's mask around her neck and a black baseball bat in her hands. Quinne turns around and we see the SCW Television Championship wrapped around her waist. The title has "New Americana" written on it in purple as Alexis looks around the arena before she begins walking down to the ring.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from San Francisco, California, she is the SCW Television Champion, she is Pint Sized Awesomeness, Alexis Quinne!”

Alexis walks down to the ring, and starts to unhook her title until she has it in her right hand while having her bat on the left hand. She's looking around the ring. The camera does a full rotation as Quinne walks past it, flashing the championship title. Quinne stops mid-way. She looks around before unmasking herself. The crowd cheers as Alexis looks around and lifts up her championship to cheers. She then keeps walking past the camera. She sees a young boy in the front row, with one of her hats on. Alexis stares at him before offering him his mask. The boy takes it and then the boy and Alexis then lift her knuckle in the air. The little boy looks at his parents before he lifts his hand and touches knuckles with Alexis. Alexis smirks and nods her head. She slides her bat into the ring and then walks up the steel steps. Alexis turns to the crowd and yells to them as they cheer her. She ascends up the top turnbuckle and Alexis then yells to the crowd, who cheer. The lights inside the ring flash black and purple as Alexis flashes the crowd the peace sign before shortly turning it into a fist. As she holds out her fist, she lifts the TV championship with the other hand. Alexis looks around at the crowd before she jumps into the ring. Quinne quickly removes her jacket and hands the ref her championship. She goes to the corner; before placing Rudo's mask around the turnbuckle. She then climbs up the top rope and rest the baseball bat on her collarbone, staring at Marie Jones. 

Sharper: “Alexis Quinne is focused here tonight. First defense as the TV Champion.”

Knots: “First time holding gold since the PUNK HAZARD break-up too. Been a long couple of years until this moment.”

The referee holds the title over his head as the SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen before fading to the bottom corner. A few moments pass before the referee hands off the title. Alexis and Marie look at one another. The crowd roars as we see the two of them ready to compete. The bell sounds and the two move forward and lock-up in the middle of the ring. The crowd roars as they push back on one another before Marie starts to use her size advantage to push Alexis back into the corner. She leans in and the referee calls for the break.

Marie steps back and looks at Alexis. Alexis nods. Marie then backs up and gets ready. Alexis walks out and spins around and lunges and the two lock up again. Alexis tries to push Marie back and Marie plants her feet and pushes forward before again Marie gets the advantage, getting Alexis back and into the ropes. She holds her against them.

Marie then turns and lifts Alexis up and hits a hip throw. Alexis gets up and Marie grabs her and takes her over with a side headlock takedown into a pin.

Alexis rolls her shoulder up and Marie holds on.

Sharper: “Marie using her size and her strength right now to keep Alexis down.”

Knots: “And Quinne doesn’t like that. You know she’s got to be just getting more and more frustrated and early in this.”

Marie holds on as Alexis starts to slowly get her knees under her. Marie pulls her up ina side headlock and then turns and nails her with a hard forearm. She pushes Alexis into the ropes before firing her across. She bounces off and Marie hits a dropkick. She goes for the pin.

Alexis kicks out. Both women get up and Marie kicks her in the ribs. She then hooks her up and hits a snap suplex. She gets up and hits an elbow drop. She goes for another pin.

Alexis kicks out. She turns and Marie looks up. She grabs Alexis by the head and pulls her up.

Sharper: “And Marie is just doing well here. You can see she had a plan.”

Knots: “Focusing on just keeping Alexis off. Pissing her off. Frustrating her.”

Alexis Quinne tries to fight and Marie forearms her in the jaw and then again. She fires Alexis into the ropes. Quinne bounces off and Marie scoops her up. Alexis however spins through and lands on her feet before kicking Marie in the ribs. She nails her with a hard right and then kicks her again. She grabs Marie by the hair and runs her into the corner, driving her face first into the top turnbuckle. Marie stumbles back and Quinne climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and dives back, hitting a back elbow, knocking her down. She goes for the pin.

Marie kicks out. Quinne rolls off and Marie backs up to the corner. Quinne gets up and runs over, but Marie kicks her in the ribs. She then hooks the top rope and hits a double boot, knocking Quinne down. Marie backflips through to the apron. She then looks at Quinne as Quinne starts to get up. Marie springboards to the top rope and hits a diving clothesline. She then goes for the pin.

Quinne kicks out.

Sharper: “Marie from the top! A clothesline gets two.”

Knots: “Oh boy. Alexis could be in for a long one. Marie is looking good tonight!”

Marie gets up and Quinne stirs. She starts to get up and Marie grabs her and snapmares her over. She turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and goes for a running shining wizard, but Quinne rolls out of the way. Marie slides through. She gets up and Alexis Quinne runs at her and takes her down with a Lou Thesz press. She rolls over and starts to get up. Marie stirs and Quinne hits a dropkick, knocking her down. Marie gets back up and Quinne runs into the ropes, bounces off and goes for a flying headscissors. She takes Marie down. Marie rolls through. She gets up and turns around and Quinne runs at her and hits the Boomerang. She turns and goes for the pin.

Marie gets her shoulder up. She rolls over. Quinne gets up and stomps her in the face and then again. Marie rolls over and into the corner.

Sharper: “Quinne making sure she can build momentum. Not stopping for a second.”

Knots: “And there’s that frustration. Just stomping away at her.”

Quinne turns and runs over to her and nails her with a forearm and then another and another. She then starts to bite Marie. The crowd roars a bit.

Quinne steps back. She walks around the ring. She turns to Marie and Marie suddenly kicks her in the ribs. Marie turns around, jumps to the middle turnbuckle and backflips back, grabbing Quinne by the head and hitting a reverse DDT. The crowd ohs. Marie goes for the pin, hooking the leg.

Quinne gets her shoulder up. Marie rolls over and looks out. She then starts to get up and Quinne stirs and Marie grabs her and knees her in the ribs and then again and again. She hoists her up and places her on the top rope. The crowd cheers as Marie nails her with a hard right.

Sharper: “Marie again getting the advantage. Again, didn’t get the three count, but still going on.”

Knots: “Sending a message to everyone in this one.”

Marie then nails Quinne again and starts to climb up to the top rope. She grabs at Quinne’s head before climbing up to the top rope. She looks around and goes for a top rope frankensteiner, but Quinne holds on and Marie slips off and hits the mat, chest first, she rolls to her back in pain and Quinne steps up and hits the Quinnessential Dream. The crowd ohs and cheers. Quinne hooks the leg.

The crowd roars and Quinne rolls off. She takes a deep breath as the referee hands her the title.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and still SCW Television Champion, Alexis Quinne!”

Sharper: “Quinne, even she’s relieved. Marie Jones had this match in her control. One moment at the end, Quinne countered and did not hesitate. Marie Jones looking as good as ever and she should not be disappointed about this one.”

Knots: “Outside of the result, but if she does that again, and this Sunday against Blake, Blakes’ going to have his hands full.”

Sharper: “Quinne still the TV Champion. She will face Josh Hudson in two weeks. Some history there.”

Quinne gets up and celebrates a bit as Marie rolls over, holding her ribs in pain. She looks around as Quinne continues to hold the title over her head and the scene cuts away.

“Immortals” starts to play. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen before we cut to a shot of Bree Lancaster vs. Giovanni Aries.

Sharper: “From a heck of a TV Title match to what could be a very interesting match between the US champion and Giovanni Aries! It’s our main event. It’s next, here on Breakdown!”

The scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Marie Jones walking backstage, annoyed. Blake Mason walks over to her.

Blake: “That was a tough loss, but damn-“

Marie: “No…don’t. Don’t start that. Don’t tell me well it was really strong, but close. Close doesn’t cut it in this business. I’m not going to let myself hang my hat on close. I made one mistake and Alexis Quinne is still the TV Champion. This Sunday…I’m not making a mistake Blake. I hope you know that. I hope you’re ready for it.”

Marie starts to walk off. Blake just watches her leave.

Blake: “Don’t worry…I will be.”

The scene focuses on Blake for a few moments before we cut to the ring.

Giovanni Aries vs. Bree Lancaster

The lights dim as the horns of “I’m Worth It” by Fifth Harmony echo throughout the arena. The crowd starts to boo as white spotlights circle the arena then focus on the stage, dancing in time to the music. A few moments pass before we see Bree Lancaster walk out from the back. Scott Burnside walks outwith her and the two look around, Scott standing a few steps behind her. Bree Lancaster extends her arms and looks up as white sparks start to fall behind her from the top of the set to the stage.

Bree then starts down the ramp as the chorus continues, her free hand on the silver silk belt holding her robe shut. Scott follows a few steps behind as two crossing spotlights follow Bree's progress.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall for TV time remaining and is your main event of the evening. First, making her way to the ring, from New Orleans, Louisiana and being accompanied by Scott Burnside, she is the SCW United States Champion, Bree Lancaster!"

The music continues as Bree gets to the ring. She stops at the steps to pose a second as Scott goes up ahead of her. Bree follows up the steps as Scott then holds the ropes open for Bree to step through. She then does a little circle in the ring, showing off a bit, before stopping in the middle of the ring. Bree tugs on the silver belt, and the robe falls open revealing her pure white and silver trimmed outfit. She then pulls the robe off, swishing it around and tossing it at Scott as he stands near the corner on the apron. Bree then raises her arms overhead in a flourish, then walks another small circle, glaring at fans in the front row who are booing her. Scott goes down the steps to the floor as Bree's music fades and the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “Main event time. Bree Lancaster about to face Giovanni Aries. A challenge unlike any others for the US Champion.”

Knots: “At least it’s someone who will get under her skin. Prepares her for Jake Starr. I’m going to enjoy this.”

"Mad Hatter" by Melanie Martinez begins to play as Giovanni Aries steps out from behind the curtain as Sam his manager is in tow. Giovanni Aries has on a grey wolf pelt fur jacket on while wearing Oracle sunglasses. Giovanni Aries takes a few steps and then sits down Indian style in the middle of stage. He sits there and looks around the arena and begins to laugh hysterically before Sam walks over and pulls out a cigarette and lighter out of her cleavage and hands it to Giovanni Aries. He lights the cigarette and takes a long deep drag before slowly standing up and walking to the ring.

Phillips: “And her opponent, accompanied by Sam, from Black Rock Desert, Nevada, he is Giovanni Aries!”

While walking to the ring he takes a drag and blows it in ringside fans face as begins to laugh hysterically again. Giovanni Aries reaches ring side and looks at Bree.

“TIME TO SHOVE YOU DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE!”

He laughs hysterically before walking up the steps to the ring apron. He faces the crowd and hard camera as he throws his arms out making a cross while looking to the sky and slowly moves his left hand to his mouth takes a drag of his cigarette and blowing smoke into the air before flipping backwards into the ring where Sam is waiting. She takes off Giovanni fur jacket as Giovanni Aries grabs her and pulls her tight and proceeds to take another drag before blowing it into her waiting open mouth. Sam smiles as she exits the ring while Giovanni takes a seat on the nearby top turnbuckle and waits for the match to start.

Sharper: “Giovanni seems calm. After what we heard earlier and what he’s done…”

Knots: “May just be a façade. I don’t know. He’s been all over the place as of late, but when he’s been in that ring…he’s been something completely different. Even when he came down. No following down the rabbit hole…shoving her down the rabbit hole.”

Sharper: “Jules, the alter-ego, comes out.”

The bell sounds and Giovanni Aries hops down and runs across at Bree. Bree backs up and Giovanni spears her back into the corner. The crowd ohs and Giovanni gets up and nails her with a hard right into the ribs and then another and another. He grabs her and throws her down to the mat. Bree rolls over and backs away to the ropes. Giovanni follows up and kicks at her. Bree dodges and rolls out of the ring. Giovanni spins around before backing up to the ropes and falling through them to the floor. Bree backs away. (1) She runs around the ring as Scott runs with her. Giovanni follows as Bree rolls back in. Scott runs around the ringpost. (2) Giovanni turns and moves to the ring and Bree hits a baseball slide. Giovanni falls back to the announce table. (1) Bree rolls to the apron and stands up.

Sharper: “Giovanni showing that aggressiveness. Bree trying to fight it!”

Knots: “Fighting it by keeping Giovanni on the floor!”

Bree then dives off and nails Giovanni with a double axe handle smash off the apron. Giovanni drops to the mats. (1) Bree then stomps him in the face and then again and again. (2) Giovanni shoves her back and Bree rolls back into the ring. She snaps at the referee to count. (3) Giovanni starts to get up. (4) He turns back to the ring and Bree runs over and dropkicks him in the face through the ropes. Giovanni falls back. (5) She turns back and rolls over and points to him. (6) Giovanni starts to get up and grabs at the announce table. (7) He then turns and just slides into the ring. He gets up and Bree quickly hits the BOGO. Giovanni hits the mat. Bree goes for the pin.

Giovanni kicks out.

Sharper: “Nearfall as Bree trying to keep Giovanni down. Hit the BOGO, but only got two.”

Knots: “She did buy one and got two.”

Giovanni rolls over and Bree gets up and stomps him in the back and then again and again. Giovanni rolls to the corner. Bree watches him as he starts to get up and kicks him in the ribs. Giovanni winces and Bree goes for the leg of Giovanni. Giovanni however turns and swings, nailing her with a hard right. Bree falls to the mat. She gets up and Giovanni runs at her and yells out before clotheslining her down. Bree rolls over, reaching for the ropes, but Giovanni pulls her back by her leg and then grabs her other leg. Bree tries to hold on, but Giovanni pulls her off and then throws her back with a wheelbarrow suplex. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “The impact! Just swinging her back. Good lord.”

Knots: “Turns out that Bree Lancaster may be aerodynamic!”

Bree rolls over slowly and holds her head and neck. She starts to get up. Giovanni then clubs her in the back before hoisting her up and hitting a back suplex. He turns and goes for the pin.

Bree kicks out. Giovanni turns and goes for the eyes of Bree. Bree yells out and tries to get his fingers away and pushes away herself before kicking him in the face. Giovanni rolls off and away. Both get up and Giovanni runs at her and clotheslines her over the top rope to the floor. Bree falls to the mats. Giovanni then storms over to the corner and climbs up to the top rope. Bree starts to stir on the floor. (1) Giovanni looks at her as the referee tells him to get down, but Bree gets up but Giovanni just launches himself toward Bree, taking her down with a dive off the top rope. The crowd ohs and cheers.

Sharper: “Giovanni just throwing himself at Bree! He could’ve hurt himself as much.”

Knots: “That’s how much this Jules alter-ego wants to destroy the Lizard King or anyone in his way!”

Sharper: “The referee counting both out now!”

Giovanni starts to get up. (4) Bree rolls over as Scott looks at her and Giovanni sees him. (5) He starts to go toward Scott and Scott backs up and runs away. (6) He turns back and Bree reaches up and rakes his eyes.(7) She turns and rolls into the ring. She starts to back away from the ropes again. (8) Giovanni however gets up and squints. (9) He rolls into the ring as the crowd roars. Bree gets up and Giovanni starts to get up and Bree grabs him and quickly hits a DDT. Giovanni rolls over to his back. Bree goes for the pin.

Giovanni kicks out. Bree looks up and turns and then goes for the legs of Giovanni. He grabs his left leg and kicks at it and then again. Giovanni starts to revive and she kicks it again and grabs it to step over, but Giovanni kicks her in the side and then again and again before booting her in the face when she bends over from the shots. She falls back and Giovanni crawls up to his feet.

Sharper: “Bree tried to take out the legs of Giovanni. She may have succeed a bit, but Giovanni just fighting back and you can’t figure out what he’s going to do.”

Knots: “Part of why he’s so annoying to go against!”

Giovanni gets up and Bree then turns and looks at him before rolling to the floor. Giovanni Aries lunges towards her. Bree backs up as the referee counts again. (1) Giovanni Aries just turns and chuckles to himself before turning and rolling to the floor. (2) He then turns and crawls under the ring. Bree starts to run but stops before looking around. (3)

Scott: “He’s under the ring!”

Bree turns and rolls into the ring. (1)

Bree: “Get up here Scott!”

Scott turns and hops onto the apron. (2) Bree and Scott keep looking around as the crowd buzzes. (3) A few moments, we see Giovanni Aries roll out from under the ring on another side of the ring, a chair in his hand. (4) He rolls into the ring with it. Bree turns and rolls out of the ring seeing the chair. Scott hops down and the referee starts to count Bree. (1) Bree points to the chair before Giovanni immediately nails the referee in the back, knocking her down. The crowd ohs and Giovanni then backs up and motions to Bree to get back into the ring.

Sharper: “Giovanni just took out the official with the chair!”

Knots: “Can’t be counted out now. And Bree’s leaving!”

Giovanni keeps motioning to Bree as Bree backs up and starts to go to the stage. The crowd boos as Giovanni Aries continues to look at her before Bree looks around and then turns to Scott.

Bree: “The US Title…”

Scott looks around and then gulps. He starts to head to the ring before glancing back. The crowd meanwhile starts to cheer and Scott suddenly starts to point behind Bree. Bree turns and sees Jake Starr standing on the stage. Bree just looks at him and backs up. The crowd roars as Starr looks in the ring. Just then, Bree glances back and shakes her head before moving forward and going to nail Jake. Jake however blocks it and then nails her with a forearm shot and Bree rolls over and to the middle of the ramp. Starr then looks at her as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “Jake Starr making sure that Bree doesn’t leave the ringside area without a reminder of what awaits her this Sunday?!”

Knots: “Giovanni has gone over the line again. Bree just found out that Jake Starr is going to big problem this Sunday!”

Sharper: “What is going to happen this Sunday at Apocalypse?”

The scene slowly fades to black…
