A shot of Syren
holding the SCW Women’s Championship, followed by a shot of CHBK hitting a
Bittersweet Ending on one individual, before turning a shot of Jason Zero
hitting a spear on Brian Kinney from Rise to Greatness a few years ago, before
turning into a shot of Jake Starr hitting the Shooting Five Star on James
Exeter.
“The leading force in sports and
entertainment today....”
The SCW logo then appears on the
screen before evaporating into smoke and the scene fades to black.
MAIN SHOW:
“Words as Weapons” by Seether plays as we see a shot of the Rise to Greatness
opening pyro from last year’s show. We then see a shot of Syren
sitting on the top turnbuckle before showing Angelica Jones smiling as she
leaves the ring.
All I really want is something
beautiful to say
All I really want is something
beautiful to say
We then see a shot of Shaun Cruze standing in the ring as his pyro goes off. We then
see a shot of 4Saken walking out to the ring and then a shot of Merrick Wiseman
hitting Ravyn Taylor with the Superman punch. We then
see a shot of CHBK pointing at Mikaela Street and then a shot of A$AP Scrappy
dropping Pat Evans with the Koke Wave. A shot of
Katie Steward driving Kennedy Street face first into the mat is shown before we
see a shot of Kelcey Wallace posing on the stage.
Keep me locked up in your
broken mind
I keep searching, never been able to find a light behind your dead eyes
Not anything at all
You keep living in your own lie
Ever deceitful & ever unfaithful
Keep me guessing, keep me terrified
Take everything from my world
A shot of Simon Lyman and
Tommy Valentine are shown in the ring before showing Brittany Lohan getting thrown off the stage through a table. We then
see a shot of Red Rayne smiling and then showing Ryan Watson
attacking Lucas Knight from behind.
I say can you help me right before the fall?
Take what you can and leave me to the wolves.
A shot of Matt Auclair holding the Underground Championship before showing
Jake Starr smiling as he stands between Kelcey Wallace
and Shaun Cruze with his hand outstretched ends the
intro before the Rise to Greatness Pre-Show logo comes up on the screen. We
then see a shot of the SCW Fanfest with fans walking
around the arena. We see the camera pan around before showing the arena
portion, covered in curtains.
Dawson: “Welcome to the
American Airlines Arena here in Miami. SCW Fanfest in
full force here as fans from all over the world come to meet their favourite
wrestlers and today, see some wrestling.”
The camera angle changes to go
to the large table that has been set up in one area of the arena. Fans are
behind the structure holding a couple of television screens. At this point,
only Jim Dawson is at the table.
Dawson: “Hello again everyone,
Jim Dawson here and welcome to Rise to Greatness weekend. It’s an honour to be
here tonight. A lot of great fans have been coming through here, looking at
exhibits and meeting their favourite wrestlers. But tonight, a number of big
matches for you as part of the Fanfest experience.
We’re going to see ten individuals challenge for an Adrenaline Championship
shot. But that’s not all.
The logo for the show comes up
before we see a shot of Havoc Warrior Exodus and Tristan Bates.
Dawson: “Havoc Warrior Exodus
will face off against Tristan Bates. Finally, one on one, they’ll go at it and
we’ll see whether Exodus can humble the newcomer Tristan Bates. But that’s not
all.”
The logo comes up again before
we see a shot of Dylan Cent and then a shot of Thomas Watson.
Dawson: “The former Adrenaline
Champion. He’ll be in action against the man that nearly became the champion
two weeks ago. Dylan Cent and Thomas Watson will finally go one on one
tonight.”
The logo comes up again before
we then see a shot of the Howells, Dylan and Jessica before showing Liberation,
Aaron D’Aubergine and Brayden Walker.
Dawson: “And our main event
tonight, a tag team match that started as a friendly challenge by Liberation
looking to help the Howells out. It’s not that friendly anymore after how the
Howells attacked Liberation late in Breakdown this past Wednesday. A lot more
to come here tonight beyond that, but now, let’s go to our arena here at Fanfest, where Adam Sharper and Shawn Winters are at
ringside. Gentlemen?”
We open up to the ringside
area to see Adam Sharper seated with Shawn Winters. The crowd
in the smaller than usual setting is loud and cheering.
Sharper: “Welcome here to
ringside. Thank you Jim. I’m Adam Sharper alongside
Shawn Winters here tonight. Big night tonight for some
people. Tonight is when they can make their Rise to Greatness moments.”
Winters: “Not just that, but
think of the pride some of these people will have tonight. Liberation may be
looking to send a message to the Howells. The Howells want to win, they’ll
clash tonight. Someone is also walking away with an Adrenaline Championship
shot.”
Sharper: “Not just that, but
Dylan Cent and Thomas Watson will finally go at it one on one and Havoc Warrior
Exodus will face off against Tristan Bates. Both those men will make their Rise
to Greatness weekend debuts.”
Winters: “And one of them is
looking to get that first Rise to Greatness win.”
“Wolfsbane”
Adam Brock vs. Ethan Hunt vs. Ian “Kyojin” Keith vs.
Ransom
“Watching sand fall...
And listening for the knock
Upon my door (Listen)
And waiting...
For Promised Land”
FWOOSH!!! A series of red, gold and silver fireworks go off at the top of the
ramp in a shimmering cascade. A roaming spotlight seeks to penetrate the
darkness and find something... Or, perhaps, SOMEONE. A
momentary silence, then...
POW!
Four blue fireworks go off and engulf the stage in their light. And as they die
away, the darkness falls once more. But it’s not complete... The roaming
spotlight catches glimpses of movement, but it’s too indistinct.
“Standing deep in life
My ring of brass
Lay rusting on the floor
Is this all?
Cause it’s not
What I expected!”
BAM!
White-hot green fireworks go off now and this time the spotlight DOES catch
someone. Standing there amid the ghastly green glow is the one and only “Wolfsbane” Adam Brock! The fans erupt in a cavalcade of
screaming and applause that seems to catch him off guard, but only for a
second. He grins wickedly and makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with
the fans and pausing to hug a little boy. One overenthusiastic fan grabs him
around the neck in a big hug and he makes a big deal out of it, letting one leg
go forward in a comical display of being snared. Then he turns around and gives
her a huge hug in return before she lets him go. Some of the fans are laughing
now... The twinkle in his eye tells them he did that on purpose! He grins and
jogs up the ring steps before grabbing the top rope and catapulting over it to
stand in the middle of the ring. Once his feet make contact, the cleverly
disguised pyro containers secured to the ringposts go
off and send showers of purple confetti fireworks all over the crowd. It
showers down over him as he turns a slow circle in the ring, basking in the
cheers of the adoring fans. When the last of the confetti
touches down, Adam does one final turn to face the ramp, hands resting on his
legs above his knees.
Sharper: “Adam Brock
unsuccessful in his debut on Breakdown a couple of weeks ago. That pressure may
pale in comparison to tonight. Tonight, people are watching for other reasons.”
Winters: “Yeah. This may not
be in Marlins Park, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a big stage. A lot of fans here at Fanfest. You
can see them packed in here. It’s however the feeling in the air. It’s just
bigger.”
The lights go out in the arena
as “The Wolf” by Fever Ray's intro begins to play. After the intro finishes and
the vocals begin to play, Ethan Hunt walks down the entrance slowly. Ethan
grins as the fans boo and jeer at him. Ethan enters the ring cockily and climbs
to the top rope. Ethan at the top rope stairs blankly at the
fans that are booing him. Before he jumps off of the top rope he
snickers inciting the fans too boo him louder. Ethan stays in his corner and
waits for his other opponents to come down to the ring.
Sharper: “Ethan Hunt looking
to also move past an unsuccessful debut a couple of weeks ago.”
Winters: “That probably would
be helped if he wasn’t just cocky as hell. Look. I get it if you’re good, say
like me, but come on kid. You’ve done nothing here.”
Upbeat country chords gradually
overcome static, and fill the arena through the PA system.
I’m gonna kill you!
Simply gonna kill you!
And bury you in a box about half your size!
Suddenly, Wynn Stewart’s “I’m Gonna Kill You” dies
out and is replaced by the uncomfortable sounds of chains rattling. The ‘Tron suddenly comes to life with the image of a young
woman, drenched in sweat, breathing heavily. She checks around the corner and
quickly jerks her head back to a forward position. Fighting tears, she utters
the words…
We’re all gonna die!
The Arctic Monkey's "Do I Wanna Know" hits
the PA. From behind the curtain, Ian Keith walks out in his wrestling trunks,
sporting a black hoodie with a black towel that covers his face. He makes his
way towards the ring to a mild pop, which he shrugs off. When he gets to the
apron, he leaps up and grabs the top rope, steps between the ropes, and enters
the ring. He removes his hood and towel and looks around the arena. He tosses
his entrance gear into the crowd and cracks his neck, smiling as he rests
against the corner. “Do I Wanna Know” dies out.
Sharper: “Meanwhile, this is
someone that has done something and something impressive. He took on a
returning star, Lil Knoxville and quickly ended those comeback hopes.”
Winters: “And hey, he’s the X-factor
here. He’s clearly got some skill. What can he do with it here in this type of
match? One fall to a finish. Four
guys. Let’s see this.”
The opening chords to
"Zero" flood the arena. Ransom appears at the top of the stage with
his feet shoulder width apart and arms outstretched at his sides. Once the
lyrics begin Ransom walks to the ring, disgusted by the negativity of the fans.
After arriving at ringside, Ransom slides under the ropes then glares at the
referee and his opponents. Then he silently goes and sits down in his corner
waiting for the fight to start.
Sharper: “And Ransom is coming
off a win against Adam Brock. He managed to get over that hurdle. Tonight, he
hopes to continue it.”
Winters: “Again, this is the
night to show up. This is the night to come through. A lot of people here in
this match, four of em,
looking for that one big win.”
The bell sounds and Ransom
turns and runs at Brock and nails him with a hard right. Keith turns and Hunt
kicks him in the ribs and nails him with a hard right before throwing him face
first into the corner. The crowd roars as Keith turns and Hunt kicks him in the
ribs and then again before Ransom throws Brock down with a snapmare.
He then stomps him in the face and goes for an early pin attempt.

Brock kicks out. He rolls over
and Ransom turns as Hunt kicks him in the ribs. Hunt nails him with a chop. The
crowd woos. He then whips him into the ropes. Ransom bounces off and he

and Keith scoops him up and slams him down. He turns and Brock jumps to the
middle rope and dives back for a back elbow, but Keith catches him. He then
throws him back and folds him up with a back suplex.
Sharper: “Keith caught Brock!
Back elbow countered into a fold-up back suplex.”
Winters: “Brock just found out
how his ring boots taste from that one.”
The crowd ohs
as Brock rolls over. Keith grabs him and goes to roll him back, but Ransom
grabs him and lifts him up and hits a forearm shiver. He hits another. Keith
falls to the ropes. Ransom pushes him against the ropes and goes to whip him
across. Keith hits the ropes, but Hunt grabs him and pulls him out to the floor
via the legs. Keith lands on his feet and Hunt steps back and goes to nail him
with a hard right. Keith blocks it and kicks him in the ribs. He turns and
shoves him to the barricade. Keith turns back to the ring and Ransom runs at
the ropes and hits a baseball slide. Keith staggers back and Hunt then drops
him with a spear on the floor. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Spear on the floor.
No forgiveness with the concrete here.”
Winters: “That’s why it’s
concrete. That and it doesn’t have feelings.”
Sharper: “Hunt taking that
opening and Brock starting to get back up as Ransom has the ring under his
control here.”
Hunt grimaces and gets up as
Ransom walks over to Brock. Brock however elbows him in the jaw. He then turns
and dropkicks him in the jaw. Ransom stumbles back and to the ropes. He starts
to get up and Brock runs over and clotheslines Ransom up and over the top rope
and Brock goes over with him. Hunt walks over and nails Brock in the ribs. He
nails him again before then hammering away on Brock’s ribs while he’s seated on
the ring apron. Brock covers up as Ransom gets up on the floor. Keith rolls
over and Hunt stops going after Brock and grabs Ransom. He kicks him in the
ribs and spins him around and throws him shoulder first into the steel steps.
The crowd ohs and Ransom falls over. Brock gets up
and Hunt turns back to him and Brock hits a straight kick to the head. The
crowd ohs and Hunt falls back to the mats.
Sharper: “What a kick!”
Winters: “That’s a way to keep
a man down.”
Sharper: “No way to even block
that. Watch this…”
|
REPLAY: We see Ethan Hunt turn back
before Brock just hits a straight kick to the face. Hunt hits the mats hard. |
Hunt stirs as Ransom remains
down. Keith starts to get up as Brock climbs up to the top rope. |
We see Brock climb up to the
top rope. Hunt turns to him as Keith grabs Hunt and Brock dives off and hits a moonsault, taking both down. The crowd cheers.
Sharper: “From the top! Moonsault takes Ian Keith and Ethan Hunt down.”
Winters: “Why not? Go from the
top. Risk it all!”
Sharper: “Took two of his
opponents down too.”
Brock rolls over as the crowd
roars. The referee tells them to get back into the ring as Brock rolls over.
Ransom gets up and runs over and nails Brock in the back. Brock stumbles over
to the barricade. Ransom grabs him and spins him around and rolls him into the
ring. He then rolls into the ring after him. Brock starts to get up and Ransom
runs at him and clotheslines him down. He goes for the pin.

Brock goes for a clothesline, but Keith ducks and turns, shoving him into the
corner. He then leans in and nails Brock with a hard forearm and then another
and another. Brock winces and Keith turns and scoops him up onto his shoulders
before turning and throwing him chest first on the top rope. He falls back and
Ransom runs at Keith, but Keith catches him and hits an exploder suplex.
Sharper: “Big suplex! He catches Ransom. There’s the cover now!”
Winters: “Could be about to
get another big win!”
Keith stays on top for the
pin.

nail Hunt, but Hunt drops down and Brock goes right over the top rope. He
plummets to the ground as the crowd ohs and Brock
rolls over. Keith gets up and Hunt runs over and clotheslines him up and over
the top rope. We then hear a scream and some yelling from the crowd. The camera
goes to a wide shot to show part of the crowd turning around and watching
something else as we see a couple of security guards start to head through the
crowd towards whatever is behind some of the backdrop curtains.
Sharper: “Clothesline sends
Keith to the floor!”
Winters: “Something is going
on outside of our little arena here inside the American Airlines Arena. Hunt is
even watching.”
Sharper: “SCW FanFest is going on while this show is happening. Something going on…and look out!”
Hunt is spun around and Ransom
kicks him in the ribs and spikes him with the Downfall of Society. Ransom then
hooks the leg.

The crowd roars and Ransom
rolls off of Hunt. The bell sounds and “Zero” starts to play. Ransom slowly
gets up. The referee raises his arm and he just slowly pulls it away. He looks
around as Brock gets up in the entrance way and look at the ring, wincing in
pain. Keith leans against the announce table.
Sharper: “That spike DDT. Another victim. Ransom hits it with more impact than anyone
I’ve seen.”
Winters: “Whatever that distraction
was, he took advantage. He got the win. And he’s in the record books with the
first win here on Rise to Greatness weekend.”
Ransom slowly goes to the
ropes and steps through them. He drops down to the floor. He then starts to
make his way to the ring. We then cut to a shot of the scene on the other side of
some of the curtains, showing some of the autograph booths, seeing fans being
moved away.
Sharper: “There you see
outside of our arena area here. That’s the autograph area.”
Winters: “Maybe a fan got a
bit too giddy. You know, SCW fans like to drink and put them around some of our
wrestlers, they may do something stupid.”
Sharper: “Well, hopefully
everyone alright. A bit of a surprise there. As Ransom
exits, let’s take a look back at that distraction…”
REPLAY:
Keith gets up and Hunt runs over
and clotheslines him up and over the top rope. We then hear a scream and some
yelling from the crowd. The camera goes to a wide shot to show part of the
crowd turning around and watching something else as we see a couple of security
guards start to head through the crowd towards whatever is behind some of the
backdrop curtains.
Sharper: “Nothing that we can
tell there. Obviously, security running to whatever was
happening.”
Winters: “Some of the fans
knew something was going on.”
Sharper: “And in any case, it
led to this…The Downfall of Society.”
Winters: “Great name if a fan
did try something stupid.”
Hunt is spun around and Ransom
kicks him in the ribs and spikes him with the Downfall of Society. Ransom then
hooks the leg.

The crowd roars and Ransom rolls
off of Hunt.
The Rise to Greatness pre-show
logo comes up on the screen before we cut back to a live shot.
Sharper: “Well congratulations
to Ransom. We’ll hope to find out what happened just to update you all. But much more still to come here on the Rise
to Greatness pre-show special!”
The scene fades to black.
COMMERCIAL:
Fury vs. Finnegan Piper
The steady build up from the
guitar chords of Papa Roachs track "Burn"
begins to play through the speakers, as the big screen shows the man about to
appear. The reaction is loud, many of them waiting with anticipation to see
what Fury is going to bring to the fray tonight.
"I didn't know, you were a fake,
Every lie straight to my face,
So blind, I could not see,
right behind my back you stabbed me"
The lights converge around the curtained off area behind the SCW staging,
slowly it is pulled aside as Fury appears for the first time, a hooded jacket
covering his body, his head tilted toward the ground so his face is darkened
away from the lights and the fans. Silently, he stands atop the ramp and just
waits patiently, his body rocking to the sound of his music.
"Should've known you were a bitch,
Shut up, you're making me sick,
Little man, you're nothing like me,
Lying, cheating, so deceiving"
I trusted you, broke me down,
And you screwed me over,
Don't try to deny it,
I'll be ignited...
...When I get to watch you BURN! BURN!"
As the chorus erupts through the arena, Fury throws his hood back showing his
gritty, angry face. He says little, but stands alone, his eyes scanning the
crowd and all of his surroundings, he cracks his neck one side and then the
other before extending his arms out to his side and closing his eyes as he
listens to the fans reaction, he then paces slowly down the ramp, turning full
circle as he tries to take everything in, he then looks back toward the ring
and just glares at it angrily.
"I wanna watch you Burnnnn
You're gonna get what you deserve
I wanna watch you Burn"
The chorus dies down as Fury just steps up onto the apron, he stares into the
ring for a moment longer and then slowly climbs in, he turns to the hard camera
and just steps onto the middle rope for a moment before once again looking to
the skies, his arms extended out to his sides. He jumps back down then and
awaits the start of his match as the music dies down.
Sharper: “This match should be
interesting only because of the similar personalities of both men.”
Winters: “Not wrestling
styles. They’re very different there.”
Sharper: “That’s putting it
mildly. Fury loves to ground his opponents. Piper likes to strike. But both,
they show up, they compete, they leave. They get it done.”
The slow, ominous chords of
‘Prayer’ by Hayley Westenra start to fill the arena.
The SCW fans quiet down as the lights slowly dim as a few white lights remain.
While the song begins, the lights pick up a hooded man walking through the
audience. He does not shake hands or high five them. He just walks on a
mission, hopping the retaining wall. The security guards converge on him until
he looks up slowly to them and removes his hood, the camera picking up the face
of Finnegan Piper. The guards step away from him as he watches,
his eyes intense. When they are far enough away, Piper looks to the ring,
walking up the stairs, taking off his coat and hoodie, leaving them on the
stairs. The camera picks up the demon face tattoo on his back, even in the
darkness. The white lights, meanwhile continue to
circle the arena as Piper makes his way to the middle of the ring, the lights
suddenly converging on him as he stops. He holds up his hands symbolizing the
crown that awaits his opponent as the music dies down.
Sharper: “Both men are
undefeated thus far in SCW. Both men have been impressive.”
Winters: “And just think…in a
year, what can these two do and it can all start here in this one match.”
The bell sounds and Fury and
Piper just watch one another for a moment before Piper stretches out a bit. He
walks out from the ropes and Fury extends his arms, looking to get the reach on
Piper. Fury then lunges and Piper jumps over Fury’s arms and
runs into the ropes. Fury turns and goes for a palm strike, but Piper
rolls underneath. He gets up and Fury turns and Piper hits a back kick to the
ribs. He then nails Fury with a hard right and runs into the ropes. He bounces
off and goes for a clothesline. Fury ducks, grabs
Piper and spins around him. He then goes to lift him up, but Piper reaches for
the ropes, grabs them before then jumping up and pushing back off the ropes.
Fury tries to go with it, but Piper backflips out of the German suplex attempt. Fury rolls over and gets up and Piper jumps
up and hits a dropsault. Piper goes to his knees and
Fury rolls out of the ring. He then turns and looks out at the crowd and
recomposes himself before turning back to the ring.(1)
Sharper: “Piper’s quickness
being the difference here.”
Winters: “Not just that, but
ingenuity. He’s forcing Fury to react. He’s forcing Fury to think quick and end up playing right into Piper’s agility.”
Sharper: “And Fury, standing
on the floor. He’s just looking up at the ring. Taking his
time now.”
Fury continues to watch Piper
as Piper stands back and watches Fury. (2) Fury walks over to the ring and
pulls himself onto the apron. He then enters the ring
and Piper runs over and kicks Fury in the ribs. He nails him with a hard right
and then another. Fury falls to the corner. Piper grabs him and goes to whip
him across the ring, but Fury stops and pulls him in. Piper ducks a back elbow.
He however keeps running and jumps up to the top rope. He then jumps back,
turning int the air and Fury steps to the side and
catches him with a knee as he comes down. Piper falls to his knees in pain.
Sharper: “And Piper overdid
that. Fury waited for him!”
Winters: “Knee to the ribs.
That’s going to leave a mark.”
Piper starts to get up and
Fury grabs him by the arm and forces him to the mat. Piper however quickly
moves his legs and Fury tries to get the facelock,
but Piper gets to the ropes. The referee calls for the break.

Fury lets go and rolls away.
Piper starts to get up. He then turns and Fury just blasts him with a hard
right, knocking him down. Piper hits the mat and starts to get up and Fury
nails him with a hard right to the ribs before he grabs the arm of Piper and
wrenches it. Piper winces in pain. He then flips forward and nips up, but
before he can fully counter, Fury lets go, drops down and hits a quick leg
sweep, knocking Piper back down.
Sharper: “Some quickness by
Fury there.”
Winters: “And doing it in a
way that Piper doesn’t expect. He went for the arm. He’s got Piper thinking
about the arm. Then he just takes him down with that leg sweep.”
Piper rolls over and gets up
and Fury clubs him in the back. He clubs him again. He then lifts him up and
pushes him to the ropes. He turns and fires him across. He bounces off and Fury
runs at him and drills him with a double axe handle like shot, knocking Piper
down. He then goes for the pin.

2!
Piper kicks out. Piper rolls
over and Fury keeps right on him, grabbing him by the head and lifting him up. He then turns and goes to whip him across. Fury steps forward and Piper then jumps to the middle rope.
Fury moves to grab him, but Piper backflips over him. Fury turns and Piper
jumps up and nails him with a pump enziguri kick to
the head. Fury falls to his hand and knees and then the to
the mat. Fury stirs as Piper gets up. Fury turns to him and Piper hits a
basement dropkick, knocking him back down.
Sharper: “Big dropkick. Piper
getting a chance to do what he does best and that’s come from different angles
and hard.”
Winters: “That’s why this is
just a weird one. Someone who is very technical and straight
up. Piper is anything but straight up. You need to be looking around and
wondering where the hell he’s coming from.”
Fury rolls over, but Piper
rolls him back and hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Fury kicks out. Piper gets up
and grabs Fury. Fury grabs at the ropes and elbows Piper in the jaw. He elbows
him again and again. Piper stumbles back. Fury then runs at him and spins
around him. He then lifts him up and hits a German suplex
into a bridge.

2!
Piper gets his shoulder up. He
turns, but Fury holds on. Both get up and Fury quickly turns back to the arm
and tries to force him down. Piper rolls through and then pushes him back with a his feet. Both get up and Piper quickly jumps up and hits
a roundhouse kick to the head. Fury turns and Piper grabs him, finishing off
the Formula HJ7. The crowd ohs.
Winters: “I hope Fury wasn’t
hoping of remembering the match. Two hard shots to the head!”
Sharper: “Roundhouse kick. Reverse DDT. Formula HJ7 completed. There’s the pin!”
Piper then hooks the leg for
the pin.
1!
2!
Fury gets his shoulder up.
Piper rolls off and then gets up and hits a jumping senton
backsplash. He rolls over and then turns and grabs the turnbuckle. He pushes
himself up to the top rope and turns to Fury. He looks at him and dives off for
the swanton bomb, but Fury rolls out of the way.
Piper hits the mat hard and rolls over before starting to get up. He holds his
back and Fury lifts him up as he gets up and then throws him down with a spinebuster. Fury goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Piper shoves him off. Fury
then gets up and kicks him in the back and then again and again. Piper rolls
over in pain.
Sharper: “Just a series of
kick to the back. Piper trying to cover up.”
Winters: “More people should
do that. You never know. One errant kick to the head and this match ends in
four seconds instead of forty!”
Piper turns and Fury grabs him
and lifts him up. He then knees him in the ribs before rearing back and
drilling him again with a vicious knee. This brings Piper down to his knees.
Fury then grabs him and pulls him between his legs. He then hoists him up for
the Alpha Powerbomb, but Piper counters into a sunset
flip.

2!
Fury kicks out. Both roll
back. Piper then hits a jumping enziguri. Fury falls
to a knee. Piper then turns and runs into the ropes before jumping to the
middle rope and jumping back, but Fury catches him on his shoulders and falls
back with a vicious electric chair drop before bridging up into a pin.

3!
Piper kicks out just after the
three and Fury falls over to the side. The referee turns and calls for the
bell.
Sharper: “Fury did it! He
caught Piper and got him down!”
Winters: “Piper used that
agility. Fury caught him and got him!”
Sharper: “No submission. No
flashy move. But a simple counter and a big win for Fury. Piper has been
defeated!”
Piper looks shocked as Fury
then rolls out of the ring. Piper then looks down, slowly trying to come to
terms with the loss. Fury however just walks around the ring. He then stretches
out his arm before then going to the rampway and
continuing on his way to the back as if it was business as usual. Piper slowly
gets up and watches Fury leave as the scene fades to black.

We open up at ringside to see
Adam Sharper and Shawn Winters at the announce table.
Sharper: “Welcome back here to
Miami and SCW Fanfest, Rise to Greatness weekend
here. And earlier tonight, we had an interesting situation.”
Winters: “Well yeah, let’s go
back to this. You’ll see that there’s a roar from the crowd and Ethan Hunt gets
distracted by this.”
REPLAY – EARLIER TONIGHT:
Keith gets up and Hunt runs over
and clotheslines him up and over the top rope. We then hear a scream and some
yelling from the crowd. The camera goes to a wide shot to show part of the
crowd turning around and watching something else as we see a couple of security
guards start to head through the crowd towards whatever is behind some of the
backdrop curtains.
Winters: “That cost Hunt the
loss and Ransom the win, but there was apparently a lot more going on.”
Sharper: “We found out that
originally, we heard a fan had attacked Gable Winchester. But it wasn’t a fan.
It was Ravyn Taylor dressed in disguise. There was a
lot of talk about how quiet she had been. But the fact is that she clearly had
something planned.”
Winters: “We didn’t have
cameras, but a few times we’ve heard over the announcement speakers here that
they’re looking for footage, so we may have some later tonight.”
Sharper: “Indeed, and remember
folks, after we’re done here for this special presentation, the SCW Hall of
Fame induction special, Class of 2014, that will take place right after this.”
Dylan Cent vs. Thomas Watson
“Ladies and Gentleman” by
Saliva hits over the P.A System causing the crowd to buzz, all eyes focus onto
the entrance as Dylan Cent walks out with a confidence about him. Crystal Ward
walks out with him. Cent looks out towards the crowd and smirks a little with a
nod before looking down at the ring and heading to it. He enters inside as
Crystal Ward walks around the ring and over Cent’s corner as the music fades
out.
Sharper: “This match had the
potential to be for the Adrenaline Championship. That not the
case as Dylan Cent was unable to dethrone Selena Frost. But this match
has enough going into it regardless.”
Winters: “They don’t like each
other and Thomas Watson has had a lot of fun knocking Dylan Cent down and
trying to keep him down.”
The arena lights cut
completely as a white spot light begins to circle the audience. A long, drawn
out wolf's howl echoes around the arena as words then scrawl across the Jumbotron
I BRING SUFFERING
I BRING AGONY
I BRING MISERY
I BRING PURITY!
A video plays on the screen that looks like amateur camcorder footage, showing
someone running down a long corridor, heavy breathing can be heard as the
person stops in front of a door with "Thomas Watson, Simcoe". The
person pushes the door open and lets out a cry of shock as they say a ragged
hole where the window was, and the camcorder pans down to see a crumpled up
Strait Jacket on the floor. The screen now goes black and then “Asylum” hits in
the arena as the lights go out for a few seconds. As soon as the vocals kick
in, three spotlights start scanning around the arena before focussing on what
can now be seen to be the top of the ramp. A figure emerge
from the back, wearing a sleeveless dark blue trench-coat. The spotlights can
now be seen to illuminate Thomas Watson. He stands looking out at the masses,
an arrogant smirk on his face. As soon as the song hit’s the chorus, Thomas
starts to walk down to the ring, he gazes out with
mild interest at the crowds who by this point are booing him. Just to aggravate
the crowds and get cheap heat, he holds out his hand to members of the audience
as if to slap palms but then moves it back and sneers as he continues to the
ring.
Watson continues to showboat his way down the walkway to the disdain of the
crowds, revelling in their reaction to him before sliding into the ring. Watson
then jumps onto the nearest turnbuckle, hitting his chest with his closed fist
and gesturing for the crowds to cheer him, to which they do the opposite as he
smirks at the reaction he has incited. After going to the opposite turnbuckle
and playing to the crowds distaste for him, he stands in the middle of the ring
waiting for the start of the match.
Sharper: “Thomas Watson, the
former Adrenaline Champion, the Paragon of Purity.”
Winters: “And he’s got one
thing on his mind: make Dylan Cent tap.”
Sharper: “And Dylan Cent may
be thinking the same for Watson. As we said, this has become personal. Thomas
Watson just not liking Dylan Cent and the feeling is mutual.”
The bell sounds and Thomas
Watson walks out of the corner and turns towards Cent and Cent just blasts him
with a hard forearm. The crowd roars. Watson hits the mat and gets up and falls
to the corner. Cent walks after him and nails him with a hard right and then
chops him in the chest. The crowd woos. Cent chops Thomas again and the crowd
woos some more. Cent then nails him with a hard right and Thomas walks along
the ropes and over to the next corner. Cent walks after him and nails him with
another hard right. Thomas nearly falls back into the corner. Cent grabs him
and whips him across the ring. Thomas bounces off the opposite corner and Cent
steps forward and catches Thomas, back dropping him down. Thomas rolls over and
starts to get up. Cent just watches him and runs at him and clotheslines him up
and over the top rope. Thomas falls to the floor.
Sharper: “Up and over. Cent not holding back at all!”
Winters: “He came to fight.
Thomas doesn’t know where he is.”
Sharper: “And if this was the
Adrenaline Showcase battle royal, Thomas would be eliminated!”
Thomas rolls over and winces
as he starts to get up. He backs up to the entrance way and turns back to the
ring and Cent runs towards the ropes and dives over them, landing onto Thomas
with a plancha. The crowd roars in the makeshift
arena. Thomas hits the floor as Cent rolls through and to his side.
Sharper: “Cent takes flight
here in Miami! He lands on Thomas Watson and early in this match, Dylan Cent
firmly in control!”
Winters: “In control? He may
have the win. Cent didn’t even hesitate. He went for it and Thomas Watson
wasn’t expecting that for one second!”
Cent slowly gets up as the
crowd even chants for him. He smiles a bit before grabbing Thomas and lifting
him up and rolling him into the ring. Cent hops onto the apron and enters the
ring as Thomas stirs and Cent runs over and clotheslines him down. He goes for
the pin.

up on the floor as Cent dives over the top rope and takes him down with a plancha over the top rope. The crowd cheers as Cent rolls
through and to his side. |
Dylan gets up and grabs
Thomas and lifts him up and nails him with a hard right. Thomas falls over to
the ropes and to a knee. |
Cent walks over and grabs
Thomas and Thomas suddenly elbows him in the face. Cent staggers back. Thomas
elbows him again and Cent staggers back some more before Thomas turns and hits
a jumping dropkick, knocking Cent down.
Sharper: “Big dropkick. Cent
falls down and Thomas gets the first real offense he’s had all match.”
Winters: “You think that Dylan
Cent didn’t want to send a message here. Come on Thomas. Buckle up and get this going here.”
Cent starts to get up and
Thomas grabs him by his arm and clubs him in the back. He then wrenches Cent’s
arm and jerks on it. Cent winces and Thomas then forces him down to the mat,
tripping Cent’s leg and then jumps up and knees Cent in the arm. He gets up and
hits him with a knee again. Cent pulls his arm away. He rolls over and Cent
grabs his arm and drags himself up and Thomas nails him with a hard right. Cent
falls back to the ropes. Thomas then grabs him and whips him across. Cent
bounces off and Thomas moves in and knees him in the chest. Cent flips forward
after the kitchen sink knee. Thomas then turns and runs over and drives his
knee into the back of Cent. He then grabs Cent, lifting him back to his feet
and then scoops him up and hits a shoulderbreaker.
Cent holds his arm in pain and Thomas goes for the quick pin attempt.

Cent kicks out. He then starts
to get up and Thomas blasts him with a forearm before getting up.
Sharper: “And that’s the
Thomas Watson we expect.”
Winters: “Going after the arm,
but he’ll take the pin. And if you kick out, bam! Right in
the face.”
Thomas then stomps Cent in the
face. Cent rolls over and Thomas grabs him and lifts him back to his feet. He
then wrenches the arm again and pushes him into the ropes before whipping him
across. Cent bounces off. Thomas goes for a clothesline. Cent ducks and bounces
off the other side. Thomas then scoops him up again, but Cent slides down.
Thomas turns around and Cent hits a dropkick. Thomas gets back up and Cent
kicks him in the ribs. He then turns and goes for a back suplex.
Thomas however blocks it and rakes Cent’s eyes. He drops down and turns before
grabbing Cent by the arm and hitting an armbreaker
DDT. Cent rolls over in pain. Thomas however turns and grabs him, locks in a
hammerlock before hoisting Cent up and hitting a hammerlock back suplex. The crowd ohs as Cent
yells in pain and Crystal looks on with concern.
Sharper: “Crystal Ward, Dylan
Cent’s manager, looking on as Thomas Watson continues to focus on that arm.”
Winters: “You know why he’s
doing that. He’s thinking about that Misery hold. That same hold he locked Cent
in two months ago while Ryan kicked away at him.”
Sharper: “And no doubt Crystal
Ward may be thinking about that now.”
Thomas turns and grabs Cent as
he stirs and pulls on the arm. He then drops down and locks in a fujiwara arm bar. The crowd boos as Cent yells out. He
starts to slowly drag himself over to the ropes as Thomas keeps holding on.
Cent keeps dragging and gets to the ropes as the referee calls for the break.

crowd cheers. Thomas turns around and Cent runs over and jumps up and hits the
It’s A Trap! The crowd roars as Thomas rolls over, yelling in pain, holding his
back.
Sharper: “And Cent! He gets
the opening he needs.”
Winters: “Got what he needed
so he can shake out that arm. Try to do something to curb that pain.”
Sharper: “Watson’s back,
meanwhile, is in a bad way from that.”
Cent watches as Thomas as he
gets up and grabs him and hits a DDT. Cent rolls over.
He then walks over to the corner, exits to the apron and starts to climb up to
the top rope. Cent gets to the top rope. He looks at Thomas and Thomas then
turns and runs over and nails Cent in the legs. Cent lands hard on the top
rope. The crowd ohs. Thomas
then winces as he nails Cent with a forearm. Cent turns away a bit. Thomas then
climbs up to the middle rope. He grabs Cent and nails him again. Cent tries to
nail him, but Thomas blocks it and he rakes his eyes. He then grabs Cent’s arm
and steps up before pulling Cent back and takes Dylan Cent down with a top rope
armbreaker DDT. The crowd ohs
and Cent rolls over to his back and then to his side, holding his arm and
shoulder in pain.
Sharper: “From the top! Cent’s
arm! He had his arm!”
Winters: “And that’s exactly
what Thomas wanted. Cent gave him a chance and Thomas may have just made sure
that arm is in nothing but pain! And look!”
Sharper: “And Thomas goes for
the Misery!”
Thomas turns and comes up
behind Cent, pushes him onto his stomach and grabs his arms before flipping
through and into the Misery. Cent yells in pain and Crystal looks on. Thomas
keeps the hold on and Cent tries to kick his feet, but is nowhere near close
enough to the ropes. The referee checks on him and Cent yells
out as Thomas keeps the hold on. Thomas continues to hold, clasping his hands
tighter. Cent continues to fight and Crystal looks on, clearly concerned as
Cent just shakes his head no, gritting his teeth. Thomas continues to hold on
for a few moments longer before Cent then shakes his hand and the referee calls
for the bell. The crowd boos and Thomas holds on still. Crystal slides into the
ring and the referee turns to Thomas and tells him to let go. Crystal pushes on
him and Thomas lets go and rolls off. He then gets up and threatens to hit
Crystal. She falls back as Thomas just smirks and backs up. The official raises
his arm.
Sharper: “Come on Thomas!”
Winters: “He’s just on a high
now. He got the tap out. He got the win.”
Sharper: “Dylan Cent tried to
hold on. He tried to gut it out, but Thomas had him locked
in perfectly. But come on Thomas…you won the match…you didn’t need to do the
post-match crap!”
Thomas just smiles as Crystal
checks on Cent as Cent rolls over to his back, clutching both his arms. The
referee watches Thomas as Thomas then exits the ring. He drops down and the
official checks on Cent. Thomas heads towards the back, smiling proudly. In the
ring, Cent writhes in pain as Crystal Ward and the official check on him.
Sharper: “Well as Thomas
Watson gets checked out here, let’s go out to the floor here at Fanfest where Marisa Condolesa is
standing by with David Helms. Marisa?”
The scene changes as we cut
out to the floor and see David Helms seated at his autograph booth. A fan comes
up and Helms greets them before Marisa Condolesa
comes over near him.
Condolesa: “Thank you Adam. I’m here
with David, and I won’t take up too much of your time, as you’re busy signing
autographs.”
Helms: “Don’t want to open
myself up to a sneak attack.”
Condolesa: “Yeah…an interesting
situation there.”
Helms: “Hopefully Gable
Winchester is good to go.”
Condolesa: “We hope to have an update
soon enough. But as for yourself, you and Mason have been at each other’s
throats for weeks. Tomorrow you get your hands on him.”
Helms signs something in front of him before
greeting the next person.
Helms: “Yeah, about Billy. The
fact is that he’s looking to make a name for himself and in the process of
doing so, he wanted to then make this personal, just because. It’s probably the
only way he can get really fired up. I don’t know.”
Helms then signs the item before turning to Condolesa.
Helms: “But if he thinks that
because he took out Matty Stone, who will be back
tomorrow by my side, he’s got the advantage, he’s horribly mistaken. He also
wants to put himself in position to be the first man on the list of possible
World Title challengers. Well, William…after what you’ve pulled, I almost wish
it was a hardcore match. It’s not, so you can calm
down there…but that just means I’m going to derail your title hopes instead. Bang!”
Helms turns back to the line
of fans as another comes up. He shakes their hand and Marisa Condolesa moves away from him.
Condolesa: “There you have it. David
Helms focused and tomorrow night, at Rise to Greatness, he’ll face off against
William Mason. Adam?”
Sharper: “Thank you Marisa.”
We then see a wide shot of the
arena again.
Sharper: “More to come from
our preview show here. More wrestling action. And more
comments from various members of the SCW roster. We’ll be back with more after
this!”
The scene fades to black.
COMMERCIAL:
We open up back in the
American Airlines Arena to see the wide shot of the arena and seeing fans
walking around SCW fanfest. We then hear the voice of
Jessica Winters.
Jessica: “Welcome back to SCW Fanfest and I am here with Silas Mason and Silas, tomorrow
night, you have a big night for Silas’ World. The Hollow are challenging for
the World Tag Team Championship. Angelica Jones looks to defeat both Stacy
Kissinger and Chris Cannon. And of course, Kelcey
Wallace challenges for the World Championship.”
Silas: “And she’ll win it.
See, my babygirl, she’s already back at the hotel.
She’s relaxin’. These peons have had enough of her.
The next time they’ll see her is when she’ll win the World Championship and
show the world WHY I have such high hopes for her. She IS the Champion and that
will happen regardless tomorrow. As for the other matches, they’re extra
sizzle….although, the Hollow have a clear role, a clear goal.”
Jessica: “Becoming the Tag
Team Champions?”
Silas just looks at Jessica
and shakes her head.
Silas: “And that’s why yer as dumb as ya look…They’re gonna end that Requiem team. Frost and Foxx can find out
that they picked the wrong fight when they went after Babygirl
a couple of months ago. Hell, even Babydoll hates em. And tomorrow, they’ll be removed just to protect my Babygirl. See tomorrow, it will be Rise to Perfection, but
it also will be the rise of Silas’ World. I get Kelcey
back where she should be…and I get all of the influence that title represents!”
Jessica: “Thank you for the
comments. Good luck tomorrow.”
Silas scoffs.
Jessica: “Back to ringside.”
We cut back to ringside.
Adrenaline Showcase Battle Royal
Winner Receives an SCW Adrenaline
Championship title shot
"The Last Song" by
12 Stones begins to play throughout the arena as red lights begin to flash in
tune with the opening beat. As the song slows down with the beginning of the
lyrics, the red lights freeze in place as Ben McCaron
slowly walks out into the stage, his eyes locked to the ground as he positions
himself in the center before taking a moment to make sure his mask is adjusted
and fitting properly so as not to be removed for the match ahead. Once the
chorus begins, the lights start to flash again as McCaron
suddenly throws his arms up and red pyro explodes on the sides of the stage.
With a confident smirk now in place, he begins making his way down to the ring
while telling the fans in both English and Spanish that this match is his for
the taking. He continues to the ring as the music
Sharper: “Ben McCaron one of the favourites in this contest. Ten individuals, all with an opportunity. Adrenaline
Championship title shot on the line.”
Winters: “And McCaron says he’s a star. This is where you prove it.
You’re facing a lot of new faces or people looking for that one chance to prove
themselves.”
The beat hits the PA and the
words "Bowker Rocks" flash up on the
screen. Jackson walks slowly out onto the ramp, claps along with the tune
before making his way down the aisle to hi-5 the fans that are clapping along
with the music.
Sharper: “Jackson Bowker, newcomer that has been getting it done in the ring.
He gets his chance tonight to quickly jump to the front of the line.”
Toshiro slowly walks out from
the waiting area while the opening rift of "This Time's For Real" By
Ill Nino is played, looking out to the many screaming fans. Touching his index
finger to his head as the song moves, swiftly extending said arm to point to
the crowd. Continuing to the ring, he sprints now, and as the chorus begins, Kageyoshi grabs the ropes, flipping himself over the top
rope, landing on his feet.
Sharper: “That’s a young man I
want to see how he does here. He’s been surprising us for months. Doomsday, Tristan Bates, and now maybe this.”
"Demons" by Imagine
Dragons begins to play throughout the arena as Alec Jacobs slowly walks out
into the stage. He looks out at the booing fans for a moment before he throws
his right fist into the air for a moment, then brings it down and puts it
behind his back as he leans forward a bit and throws his left fist up now. He
holds this pose for a moment before he starts slowly making his way down to the
ring.
Winters: “He actually finally
showed the ability to make the tough decision. He went for the pin. He took
advantage of Stacy Kissinger getting attacked by Angelica Jones to get his
first win. Now build on that kid.”
"DIE YOUNG AND SAVE
YOURSELF!!!!!!!"
Those solemn words blast out over the PA before Brand New's
'Sic Transit Gloria' begins with its dulcit bass
guitar. Wally Rosefall enters from the back wearing a
purple wrestling vest and purple wrestling tights to a decent amount of
applause. He stands at the center of the stage and pumps his fist a few times
before making his way down the ramp.
Sharper: “A bit of bad luck to
start his career in SCW so far, but he’s got a bright future ahead of him
here.”
“Outsider (Secret Sessions
Version” by Ian Hunter starts to play and the crowd roars a bit. Many stand up
before Typhoid Mary walks out from the back and glances back as Pat Evans walks
out from the back and looks down at the ring. He continues on his way to the
ring.
Winters: “He’s the man that’s
the X-factor. Mary hasn’t panned out for him yet…but that’s yet…”
Sharper: “What about A$AP
Scrappy though?”
Winters: “Pat Evans will take
care of that.”
The lights go out as
"Still Ballin'" by Tupac ft. Trick Daddy
hits the PA system. At the start of that first verse the Soopaman
Luva walks out from backstage as the lights turn on
wearing a black du-rag with a black hat turned
backwards on top of it, a fresh "#1 Derrick Rose Chicago Bulls" white
basketball jersey with red letters, and blue jean shirts. He then walks down
still waving his hands up until he sees a random sexy looking chick in the
ground and walks over and asks for her number.
Winters: “Focus less on
getting some girl’s number and winning. Then you don’t have to ask. They’ll
come to you and want to get to know you!”
Sharper: “Stop it…”
The opening guitar riff from
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ “You Better Pray” plays over the crowd as a spotlight,
already shining on Trista Foxx-Porter as she stands in the middle of the stage,
widens. Axel Porter steps out from the back, standing with his back to the
crowd as he throws his arms out. Trista walks around the front of him, giving
him a kiss for luck before pushing his sleeveless robe off his shoulders and to
the ground. Axel turns around, kicking the robe aside as he takes his wife on
his arm, beginning their walk to the ring.
Sharper: “Trista Foxx-Porter
and Axel Porter on their way to the ring. Porter has the most experience in
this match.”
Winters: “And he’s nearly
taste the title too.”
Alter Bridge’s “Come to Life”
begins to play as the entire arena is bathed in gold lighting and the arena is
transformed into a place of class and royalty. The lyrics kick in about thirty
second into the song, and slowly Alex Young walks out onto the stage looking
unimpressed at the fans booing him. He shrugs it off easily and starts heading
towards the ring, a confident smirk forming on his lips.
Winters: “Now that’s class
personified and not just that. This is his hometown. He’s representing!”
A quick siren sound is heard
at the beginning of "Survival Tactics" by Joey Bada$$
as the lights dim and fire explodes out of the corner turnbuckles for a brief
moment as the real song continues.
A$AP Scrappy comes walking out from the back in a black wifebeater,
baggy black jeans, black Lugz boots, and the black
eye patch on his eye as the crowd cheers. He looks into the crowd and smiles
sadistically before walking down the ramp and staring right at Typhoid Mary who
stands on the opposite side of the ring. He watches her and starts to head to
the ring before walking around. He starts to head around the ring before Pat
Evans steps out to the apron behind him and then dives onto him, knocking him
down from behind. The crowd boos.
Sharper: “Scrappy went after
Mary. That’s the woman he wanted this weekend and Pat Evans cuts him off.”
Winters: “Scrappy needs to
focus on getting a title shot. Not giving Mary more things she’s just screwing
him over with!”
The group in the ring just
look on as Pat Evans grabs Scrappy and turns and throws him back first into the
apron. Scrappy grimaces and Pat rolls him into the ring. Pat rolls in after and
the bell sounds. Young immediately goes for Rosefall
as Bowker grabs Jacobs and jabs him in the jaw,
knocking him to the corner. Bowker kicks him in the
ribs a few times as Pat Evans gets up only for McCaron
to kick him in the ribs. He tries to eliminate him, but Evans holds on. Luva is knocked down by Kageyoshi
and Scrappy gets to his feet only for Porter to nail him with a hard right and
then another and another.
Sharper: “Here we go. The
referee’s just waiting for everyone to get into the ring.”
Winters: “Scrappy and Evans
did that to themselves, but here we go!”
Evans takes a couple more
shots from McCaron before McCaron
turns away and nails Kageyoshi in the back. He falls
over. Evans leans in the corner. Luva gets back up
and as Porter nails Scrappy with a couple more shots. He fires Scrappy into the
ropes, but Luva kicks Porter in the ribs. Young goes
to whip Rosefall out of the corner, but then stops
and pulls him back into the corner. Young then grabs him and starts to lift him
up, but Rosefall nails him with a couple of hard
rights. Bowker goes to lift Jacobs up, but Jacobs
uses his strength to keep down. He clubs Bowker in
the back and then again. Evans looks around as Luva
grabs Porter and scoop slams him down. Scrappy then runs over and goes to go to
the ropes, but Evans runs over and clubs him in the back. He spins him around
and nails him with a hard right. He turns and pulls him away before scooping
him up and hitting a ribbreaker. Just then, we see Rosefall dropkick Young down. Young rolls over and goes to
the ropes. McCaron goes to throw Kageyoshi
up and over, but he holds on before stopping and then dropping down. McCaron moves away from him and nails Jacobs with a hard
right. Jacobs staggers back and McCaron nails him
again. Bowker walks around and Rosefall
then jumps up and goes for a hurricanrana, but Bowker counters with a powerbomb.
Sharper: “Big powerbomb by Jackson Bowker. Rosefall planted!”
Winters: “Just like Scrappy,
but Scrappy now is trying to figure out how to break his arm to get out of that
hold Evans just put on him. And that may be smart. Most people turn away from
people that have someone so clearly down.”
Luva grabs Porter and starts to
try and get him up and over. Porter struggles as Luva
battles with him. Bowker looks around as McCaron continues to work on Jacobs. Evans has a variation
of a Buffalo sleeper hold locked in, but Scrappy hooks the ropes and uses them
to pull himself up. He nails Evans with an eye rake and then turns and swipes
at Mary who stands nearby. Mary steps back and Evans turns and runs at Scrappy,
but Scrappy lifts him up and back drops him over, eliminating him! The crowd
cheers. Porter and Luva meanwhile continue to fight
but we see Young get up and run over and grab Porter and Luva
by the legs and flip both of them up and over to the floor!
Sharper: “Big eliminations!
Evans just landed in front of Mary! And Porter and Luva out on the other side!”
Winters: “Porter’s out! Whoa!
There’s my favourite gone!”
Sharper: “And Scrappy is
looking right at Typhoid Mary!”
Mary looks at Evans as Evans
then grabs at Scrappy and tries to pull him out. Scrappy nails him with a
series of shots. Mary just slowly walks around the ring, clearly ignoring it.
Evans stumbles back and is pulled away as Scrappy turns and watches Mary as she
walks around the ring. Just then he turns and Jackson Bowker
nails Scrappy right in the groin with the Dick Punch. The crowd ohs and Scrappy just falls to the mat. The crowd gives a
mixed reaction as Mary shakes her head and makes her exit. Trista just looks at
Porter in anger and Porter gets up and grabs Luva and
throws him into the ringside steps. The crowd boos. They then leave as Evans
makes his exit.
Sharper: “Scrappy is down! Bowker with that low blow! Luva down too!”
Winters: “And Mary just slowly
leaves.”
Sharper: “Three eliminations
already. We need to take a break. This match continues when we return!”
McCaron tries to eliminate Jacobs as
Young walks around the ring. Bowker nails him as Kageyoshi grabs Rosefall and starts
to lift him up.
COMMERCIAL:
We return to the Pre-Show and
we see Scrappy holding on as Kageyoshi nails him with
a hard right and then another. Scrappy then drops down and shoulders Kageyoshi. He staggers back and Scrappy enters the ring and
clotheslines him down.
Sharper: “Welcome back to the
Rise to Greatness Pre-Show here at SCW Fanfest.
Scrappy nearly eliminated, but back in, but Wally Rosefall
not so lucky.”
Winters: “He gave it a go and
even tried to go big, but not enough here.”
|
REPLAY: We see Rosefall
jump from the middle rope and hit a tornado DDT on Alex Young, but he rolls
through only for Alec Jacobs to run over and clothesline him over the top
rope. The crowd boos. |
Scrappy turns and stomps Kageyoshi as Bowker clubs McCaron in the back. Jacobs walks over to Scrappy and
Scrappy kicks him in the ribs and throws him to the corner. |
Scrappy then turns around and
looks around before walking over to Bowker. Bowker turns and nails him with a hard right and then turns
and kicks McCaron in the ribs. He then grabs Scrappy
and goes to go for a noggin-knocker with McCaron, but
both block it and Scrappy kicks him in the ribs. Ben McCaron
nails him with a hard right. Scrappy then elbows McCaron
and Bowker grabs Scrappy and whips him into the
ropes. Scrappy bounces off the ropes and Bowker waits
for him, but Scrappy kicks him in the chest. Just then, Kageyoshi
runs over and jumps up and nails him with a running knee and Bowker goes up and over the top rope to the floor.
Winters: “Kageyoshi
comes from behind!”
Sharper: “Bowker
up and over. The Australian star sent to the floor. He’ll have to try again
another night!”
Scrappy then kicks Kageyoshi in the ribs. He turns and spins him into the
corner. Jacobs walks out of his corner as Jacobs
stirs, but McCaron runs over and jumps up and snaps
him down with a hurricanrana. The crowd boos. McCaron then grabs him and lifts him up before kneeing him
in the chest. He turns and runs into the ropes. Jacobs however launches McCaron into the air and McCaron
lands hard chest first from the flapjack. Kageyoshi
manages to block a shot from Scrappy and pulls himself up to the middle rope
and hits a knee. Scrappy stumbles back and Kageyoshi
jumps off with a missile dropkick. He then gets up and Jacobs scoops him up
onto his shoulder. He then runs across for a powerslam,
but Kageyoshi slides off. Jacobs falls to the corner.
Just then, we see Young run over and clothesline Kageyoshi
down hard. The crowd ohs.
Winters: “Oh man! Kageyoshi just found out what going into orbit is all about
with that one.”
Sharper: “From the side, no
chance for Kageyoshi to really do anything there but
brace for impact.”
Kageyoshi rolls over as Young grabs
him. He lifts him up, and Jacobs turns around Young nails him with an elbow. He
staggers back. Young nails him with a hard right and then another before McCaron grabs Kageyoshi as he
stirs. McCaron then grabs him and goes to throw him
over the top rope, but Kageyoshi spins through and
lands on the apron. He gets up and McCaron jumps to
the middle rope and then nails him with a hard dropkick to the jaw. Kageyoshi falls off the apron and to the floor.
Sharper: “Kageyoshi’s
out.”
Winters: “Good showing, but
that counts for nothing.”
Sharper: “McCaron,
Jacobs, Scrappy and Young are your final four.”
Young goes to whip Jacobs out,
but Jacobs spins through and pulls Young in and hits a spinebuster.
He gets up and McCaron turns and runs at him and goes
for a flying headscissors, but Jacobs holds on and
sits out into a facebuster. Jacobs rolls over and
gets up and Scrappy nails him with a palm strike. He then hits another before
grabbing him and throwing him into the ropes. Jacobs bounces off and Scrappy
hits a dropkick. Jacobs hits the mat. Scrappy then grabs him as he gets up and
runs into the corner before spinning around and Koke
Wave. The crowd ohs. Jacobs
rolls to his back. Scrappy looks up. Young and McCaron
start to stir. Scrappy runs over and hits a basement dropkick to Young. He then
runs over to McCaron and clubs him in the back.
Jacobs from instinct alone starts to use the ropes to pull himself up and
Scrappy runs at him hits a spinning heel kick, but the momentum takes Scrappy
over, but he holds onto the ropes and stays on the apron. Jacobs goes up and
over and is eliminated. McCaron then staggers over
and grabs Scrappy and starts to try and push him off.
Sharper: “Scrappy in trouble. McCaron trying
to get him out!”
Winters: “He got himself in
that position. The guy just goes at it, and doesn’t think!”
Sharper: “I’m just happy to
see him fighting in this. He didn’t run off after Mary. I think he realized he
had a chance here and Mary wasn’t going to stop him!”
McCaron continues to fight with
Scrappy as Scrappy nails him with a forearm and then another. McCaron then nails Scrappy with a hard right. He nails him
again, before Young staggers up behind him and grabs him before hooking him up.
McCaron tries to block it, but Young just muscles him
up with the Upper Class Slam. The crowd roars as Young lifts him up and right
into Scrappy. Scrappy falls to the apron, but holds on as McCaron
drops to the floor. Young then rolls over and turns back to Scrappy as he gets
up and Young runs at him and nails him with a dropkick through the ropes.
Scrappy barely holds on, but leans back and Young then gets up and stomps at
him. Scrappy lets go and falls to the floor as the crowd roars, before boos
come from the crowd.
Winters: “These ungrateful
fans! Alex Young just won in his hometown!”
Sharper: “Alex Young has
survived this battle royal! He’s got the Adrenaline Championship title shot and
he’s got a date with Selena Frost in the near future!”
“Come to Life” plays as Alex
Young looks around. He just nods and smiles as McCaron looks up, grimacing in pain and Scrappy
rolls over too. Young has his arm raised by the official that enters the ring.
He looks around and nods before turning and walking over to the nearby camera.
Young: “Told you I was a
future star…now I’m going to get gold!”
Young backs up and just looks
at the crowd, smiling confidently.
Sharper: “He said it.”
Winters: “And he proved it
here. Now he can finally show what he can do with gold on the line.”
Sharper: “Alex Young gets an
Adrenaline Championship title shot here tonight in Miami!”
We cut away to see Marisa Condolesa back in the autograph booth area and we see her
walk over to Lucas Knight.
Condolesa: “Lucas, can I get a few
words?”
Lucas glances over, finishing
an autograph before standing up and turning to her.
Lucas: “What would you like?”
Condolesa: “Rise to Greatness is
tomorrow and you’re in action against Ryan Watson. On Breakdown, he attacked
you from behind.”
Lucas: “Took him long enough
to grow a set. See, he used to be a student of mine. I actually give a damn
about what he does, but the fact is that he’s been such a disappointment
lately. Throwing away title shots. Following around a
skirt just cause she’s pretty. Even letting someone
else get in on that too. The fact is that he needs to
be reminded about what it takes to be successful in this business. And if he’s
not willing to learn, I’ll happily make one of the biggest nights of his career
into a disappointment. It’s the least I can do.”
Condolesa: “Thank you for the comments.
Enjoy Fanfest.”
Condolesa turns away.
Condolesa: “Adam?”
The wide shot of the arena
returns, showing the people going to various exhibits and events.
Sharper: “Thank you Marisa. Plenty more to come here at Fanfest.
The Rise to Greatness preview continues after this!”
The scene fades to black.

We see a shot of the SCW Rise to Greatness 2014 logo up
on the screen as pyro shooting across a beach is shown behind it.
“Rise to Greatness 2014
Tomorrow!”
The logo remains on the screen for a few more moments
before fading out.
Havoc Warrior Exodus vs. Tristan
Bates
The arena settles into a quiet
darkness, broken only by the murmurs of anticipation. Synchronized green, blue
and white lights pulse to the opening notes of "Prepare for Attack"
by Havok. They beat continuously to the song’s tempo,
blurring together when the biting guitar riff picks up speed under the main
chords. A pyro effect is timed to go off as soon as the drums go into a
full-throttled double kick, followed by smaller, fiery white explosions for
each chord change. Meanwhile, the words “Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dog of
war” flash on the screen in the same colours as the pulsing lights.
It is at this point that Exodus makes his way past the curtain and onto the
ramp. He screams and extends his chest while the fire form the pyro and the
cheers of the crowd explode around him. With a determined look on his face and
drive behind his steps, he makes his way down towards the arena, running down
the ramp. He ignores the camera and the fans during his march to the ring, not
out of callousness, but because they are fleeting; his energy is channelled
towards the impeding combat. With his eyes fixated on the ring, he climbs on
the apron and tugs the rope twice before entering.
He immediately runs the length of the ring to the opposite turnbuckle and
climbs it, raising his hands into the air and holding his head back for a
moment, absorbing the cries of approval from the crowd before beating his chest
and letting out another roar. He jumps down and makes his way to opposite
corner and repeats this ritual, before finally heading into his own corner and
pacing it, like a wild beast, while awaiting the ring of the bell.
Sharper: “A battle of two
people who are anything but typical. Havoc Warrior Exodus has the strength.
He’s got the power. He’s also a bit rough around the edges, but who cares?”
Winters: “Tristan may and he’s
been looking forward to this one. He can finally get his hands on Exodus one on
one to teach him a lesson about getting involved in his affairs.”
The lights go out in the arena
and almost immediately a piano starts to play the opening keys to “Dark
Psychotic” as Tristan Bates laugh blends in on the PA system with the music.
Bates makes his way down to the rings, black trenchcoat
covering his body, with a hook over his head, covering much of his face, all
that is visible is the mouth and beard of Tristan Bates. Bates slowly makes his
way down to the ring. Tristan doesn’t crack a smile, doesn’t look around, just focuses on the ring, as the dark music continues to
play. Bates slowly climbs the stairs and into the ring and finally takes the trenchcoat off, revealing a sinister smile…
Sharper: “And there is Tristan
Bates. Havoc Warrior Exodus does hold a victory over him. He has defeated him
and that’s a key.”
Winters: “Yeah, yeah, but that
was in a four way. This is one on one. Different ball game.”
Sharper: “We’ll find out right
here in this contest.”
The bell sounds and Bates
continues to smile as Exodus looks at Bates. He walks along the ropes before
turning and lunging at Bates. Exodus goes for a clothesline. Bates ducks and
spins around. He nails Exodus with a hard right and then another before hitting
a back chop. Exodus falls to the ropes. Bates nails him again before whipping
him across the ring. Exodus bounces off the ropes and Bates runs forward and
goes for a clothesline, but Exodus ducks. Bates stops and turns around and
Exodus goes to lift her up over his head for a military press, but Bates shifts
his weight. Exodus turns to Bates and Bates headbutts
Exodus. Exodus stumbles to the ropes.
Sharper: “Hard headbutt and Bates just has Exodus on the ropes.”
Winters: “He’s not going to
just take you on the normal way, but when he does, it just messed with you and
Exodus, who sometimes has more guts than brains, he’s finding that out now.”
Exodus turns back to Bates and
Bates nails him with a clubbing blow to the back. He then whips Exodus across
the ring. Exodus bounces off and Bates runs at him and nails him with a running
back elbow. Exodus hits the mat. Bates goes for the pin.

Exodus kicks out. Exodus stirs
as Bates grabs him and lifts him up and clubs him in the back. He clubs him
again. He then pushes him into the corner. Bates then elbows him in the jaw. He
moves forward and elbows him again. He elbows him a third time before grabbing
him and going to whip him across the ring, but Exodus spins through. Bates goes
into the corner, but Exodus runs right after him and sandwiches him right after
impact with a clothesline. The crowd cheers.
Sharper: “And there’s that
explosive impact. Right across the ring and Exodus did not hesitate for a
moment!”
Winters: “Bates didn’t even
see it coming. He’s just trying to figure out where his liver is right now.”
Bates rolls over as he drops
to the mat from the impact. Exodus grabs him and lifts him up and clubs him in
the back. Bates stumbles over to the other corner and Exodus hits a swinging
clothesline to the side of Bates’ head. He turns away and Exodus grabs him by
the hair. His hand slips, but he grabs him again and drives him face first into
the top turnbuckle. Bates stumbles back and spins around and Exodus runs out
and clotheslines him down. He goes for the pin.

2!
Bates kicks out. Exodus gets
up and Bates does as well. Exodus nails him with a hard right. He nails him
again. He then scoops him up and slams him down. Exodus runs into the ropes. He
bounces off and goes for a jumping splash, but Bates rolls out of the way.
Exodus starts to get up and Bates hits a throat thrust. Exodus turns away,
holding his throat, coughing in pain.
Winters: “Shot to the throat.
That’ll stop the grunting.”
Sharper: “And it stops the
offense. Exodus quickly needing to retreat, if only
temporarily.”
Bates turns and nails him with
a shot to the ribs. He then pulls him out and scoops Exodus up and hits a
backbreaker. Bates gets up and smiles and spins around before jumping up and
hitting an elbow drop. He then leans back onto Exodus for a lax cover.
1!
2!
Exodus kicks out. Bates gets
up and Exodus turns as Bates grabs him and elbows him in the back of the head.
He then grabs him and lifts him up for a back suplex,
but Exodus kicks his legs and drops back down. He then hits a back kick. He
turns and runs into the ropes and bounces off and jumps up, knocking Tristan
Bates down with a flying shoulder block. Bates rolls over and gets up and
Exodus lifts him up and presses him over his head before just dropping him.
Bates hits hard as the crowd cheers. Exodus storms over to
the corner and exits to apron before climbing to the top rope. The crowd
roars and Bates slowly gets up before turning to the corner and Exodus dives
off and takes him down with a shoulder block from the top rope. The crowd
cheers.
Sharper: “Exodus from the top.
Bates knocked down.”
Winters: “Didn’t know he knew
how to climb up that high?”
Sharper: “He can and he can
put together a hell of a flurry as we’re seeing!”
Bates rolls over and starts to
get towards the ropes. Exodus gets up and lets out a yell. The crowd cheers
with him. Bates then turns around and goes for a hard right, but Exodus blocks
it. He then kicks Tristan in the ribs. He hooks him up before scooping him up
and turning and spiking Tristan Bates with the Exile Driver. The crowd cheers.
Exodus hooks the leg.
Sharper “Exile Driver! He hit it! Into
the cover!”
1!
2!
3!
The crowd cheers and Exodus
rolls off of Bates. He then leans on his knee before pulling himself
up. He lets out another yell getting cheers from the crowd.
Winters: “Wasn’t pretty. But
he got him up and dropped him.”
Sharper: “Tristan Bates came
in with a lot of momentum, but Havoc Warrior Exodus has proven to be his
kryptonite. He takes Bates down and defeats him here at SCW Fanfest!”
Exodus looks around the arena
and throws his arms up. Tristan Bates rolls to the floor before starting to
slowly make his way around the ring. Exodus continues to stand tall in the ring
before we cut away.

The Howells (Dylan & Jessica
Howell) vs. Liberation (Brayden Walker & Aaron D’Aubergine)
The lights go out and as Van
Halen's powerful anthem "Top of the World" begins, white strobe
lights do as well. Soon appearing on stage is Dylan Howell, dressed in a black
leather jacket with red shorts and boots, both bearing his initials.
Dylan is accompanied by his wife, Jesse Howell. Jesse is wearing a black Affliction
shirt with the neck line cut so it hangs off one shoulder, a black skirt with a
white studded belt and knee-high black leather boots. The crowd boos them as
Jessica just shakes her head. Dylan ignores them.
The two of them walk to the ring side by side. Once they arrived at ring side,
Dylan heads up the stairs first and then holds the ropes open for Jesse who
gives him a little show as she steps in the ring. Once both are inside, Jesse
goes to the corner and climbs to the middle turnbuckle and poses as Dylan does
the same on another corner. He slides off his coat and tosses it to the floor
before jumping down. He then walks around the ring as the
boos continue and his music fades out.
Sharper: “The Howells used to
be loved by these fans, but their actions as of late have changed that.”
Winters: “And who cares? Seriously? They are fed up and they want to get airtime.
It’s a shame however that Dylan Howell is a complete idiot. Jessica, you’re a
saint for actually standing next to him. Too bad you’re probably getting dumber
by the second by supporting him.”
Sharper: “I sense you’re not a
fan.”
Winters: “That idiot wants to
call me out on Twitter because I speak the truth. If he can’t handle that, he
should retire now and quit the business. He’ll never handle being a top guy
then.”
The introduction to ‘Wake Up’
hits the speakers and the crowd goes into cheers at the sound of Liberation’s
music. The crowd seemingly taken by the hope of SCW being liberated has really
garnered momentum for these two young superstars. After the intro cuts into the
main drive of the song, pyro explodes all around the entrance ramp as smoke
begins to fill the top of the ramp. After a few seconds, we see Brayden Walker
and Aaron D’Aubergine slowly make their way onto the
entrance ramp looking confident and ready for a fight.
They begin to slowly make their way down the entrance ramp, looking focused and
determined. They see that the fans have really begun to swing in their favor
with wins and a sense that they really could pull this off. Walker slides
underneath the bottom rope as D’Aubergine heads up
the steps. Walker and D’Aubergine meet up and then
they take to partnering turnbuckles and taunt the crowd showing gestures of
liberation will be coming soon. They hop down and begin to talk strategy as
they get ready for their fight.
Sharper: “Liberation, one of
the most consistent tag teams in SCW history. Always competing at a top level
and they simply want competition.”
Winters: “They’re going to get
that in one way, but probably not up and up as they wanted. Breakdown showed
that.”
Sharper: “Dylan and Jessica
Howell took an opportunity to attack Liberation, obviously looking to get on
camera, but also to make a statement.”
Winters: “Now it’s face to
face. Let’s see what you guys can do.”
The bell sounds and Jessica
exits the ring. Dylan however turns and as Aaron exits the ring, he runs over
and grabs Brayden and hip throws him away from the corner. Brayden Walker rolls
over and Dylan Howell kicks him in the ribs. He nails him with a straight right
hand and pushes him into the Howell corner. The crowd boos and Dylan tags in
Jessica. Jessica enters and kicks Brayden in the ribs. Dylan pushes back on
Brayden as Jessica kicks away on Walker.

Sharper: “Some early teamwork
by the Howells. They are married after all.”
Winters: “That doesn’t always
mean enough. Trust me, I’d know.”
Brayden gets up too and
Jessica kicks him in the ribs. She then turns and whips him into the corner.
Jessica walks after him and kicks him in the ribs. She then pulls him out and
places him on the middle rope. Brayden struggles as Jessica backs up and kicks
him in the ribs. The crowd ohs.
Jessica then leans down for the choke on the middle rope.

Brayden kicks out again. Dylan
then grabs him and lifts him up. He knees him in the ribs. Aaron looks on,
reaching for the tag.
Sharper: “Brayden Walker
struggling early.”
Winters: “And in a shock,
Dylan Howell is actually keeping Brayden away from Aaron and wrestling a smart
match so far.”
Sharper: “Meanwhile, you see
Aaron D’Aubergine standing on the apron. He wants the
tag. He’s thinking about Breakdown when Jessica and Dylan planted him with that
double DDT.”
Dylan whips Brayden into the
ropes. He bounces off and Dylan powerslams him down.
He goes for the pin.

Brayden gets his shoulder up.
Dylan gets up and grabs Brayden and locks in a reverse chinlock.
He then looks at Aaron and smirks as he synchs in it more. The crowd boos as
Dylan holds on and Brayden looks around. The referee checks on him, but Brayden
turns and starts to get his knees under him. Dylan then stops and nails him
with a hard right. He pushes him to his feet and then whips him into the ropes.
Brayden bounces off and Dylan goes to grab him for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker,
but Brayden counters with an arm drag. Both get up and Dylan turns to Brayden
and Brayden hits a Japanese arm drag. Dylan rolls over and gets up again and
Brayden jumps up and takes him down with a hurricanrana
and into a pin.
Winters: “There goes that for
Dylan!”
Sharper: “Hurricanrana
into the pin!”

2!
Dylan kicks out. Jessica
starts to enter into the ring, but stops before moving back to the apron.
Brayden then gets up and Dylan gets up and Brayden kicks him in the ribs before
turning and tagging in Aaron. Aaron enters and Brayden then whips Dylan into
the ropes. Jessica tries to tag herself in, but Brayden then lifts him up with
a hotshot, and Aaron jumps up and dropkicks him in the way down. The crowd
roars. Brayden rolls out of the ring and Aaron goes for the pin.

Jessica breaks it up. She
backs up and exits the ring as Aaron gets up and grabs Dylan. He lifts Dylan up
and nails him with a forearm shiver. He then hits another shiver and then pulls
him in and takes him over with a side belly to belly suplex.
Sharper: “Suplex
takes down Howell. Liberation takes control of this match.”
Winters: “And right now, I
hope Dylan’s enjoying his ass-kicking. I hope his whining this past month has
been worth it!”
Sharper: “Aaron D’Aubergine starts to climb to the top rope too.”
Aaron exits to the apron and climbs
up to the top rope. He looks at Dylan and just then, Jessica runs across and
shoves Aaron down off the top rope. Aaron falls to the floor and bounces into
the announce table. He rolls over in pain as the crowd boos.
Sharper: “D’Aubergine!
Oh! Right into our table!”
Winters: “Well Jessica just
showed she’s got this figured out! Big move there!”
Sharper: “Jessica Howell
shoves him off. Aaron D’Aubergine is down. The
Howells have an opening. The Rise to Greatness
Pre-Show returns here from SCW Fanfest!”
The scene fades to black
focusing on Aaron holding his face in pain.

Miami. The Howells have regained control! And they may
win it here!”
Winters: “Going to the top!
Jessica may carry this team!”
Jessica gets to the top rope
before diving off and hitting a 450 splash onto Aaron D’Aubergine.
The crowd ohs. Jessica goes

Jessica looks up. She grabs
Aaron and lifts him up. She then turns and whips him into the corner. Jessica
runs after him and nails him with a running forearm.

up for a running dropkick, but Aaron moves out of the way. Jessica hits the
top rope and falls down to the mat. |
She stirs and Aaron D’Aubergine staggers up to his feet and Jessica gets up.
Aaron kicks her in the ribs. She places her head between his legs and lifts her
up for a powerbomb before throwing her out and into
the Ruppture. The crowd cheers. Jessica falls to the
center of the ring. Aaron rolls over and instead focuses on the tag.
Winters: “I don’t know about
that. I know you want the fresh guy in there, but go for the pin.”
Sharper: “Ruppture
has Jessica Howell down. Aaron D’Aubergine
crawling to Brayden Walker. Looking to get him back
into this match as the legal man!”
Aaron takes another moment and
dives forward and tags in Brayden. Brayden enters the ring as Jessica gets up
and clotheslines her down. Jessica gets back up and Brayden scoops her up and
slams her down. Dylan climbs to the top rope and goes to dive off as Brayden
then turns and hits a spinning heel kick. Dylan falls to the mat and rolls out
of the ring. Jessica stirs and Brayden gets up and Jessica grabs Brayden from
behind before then dropping down and flipping Jessica over with a victory roll
pin.

turns and kicks Jessica in the ribs. Dylan gets up onto the apron and Brayden
pulls her in between his legs, but Jessica counters with a backdrop. She turns
and dives over and tags in Dylan.

Winters: “Brayden’s getting
up. Take advantage!”
Dylan enters and kicks Brayden
in the ribs as he gets up. He then whips him into the ropes. Brayden bounces
off and Dylan hits a dropkick. Brayden gets back up and Dylan grabs him and
plants him with the Undo Influence. He then gets up and turns to the corner

off and goes for a swanton, but Brayden rolls out of
the way. Dylan rolls through and gets up and Brayden kicks him in the ribs. He
then hits the flip piledriver. The crowd cheers.
Brayden then turns and Jessica enters the ring and nails him with a running
Yakuza. Brayden hits the mat. Jessica then is forced out of the ring.
Sharper: “Jessica stops
Brayden from taking advantage of that flip piledriver!”
Winters: “She’s probably got
the best timing in this match. When she hits big, it’s at the perfect time!”
Sharper: “Aaron just looking
on as he’s back on the apron. Jessica forced back out, but Dylan and Brayden
are both down!”
Jessica looks on as Aaron
reaches out for the tag. Dylan rolls over in pain and Brayden holds his jaw.
(1) He turns over and shakes his head a bit. Dylan remains down. (2) He then
starts to slowly get up. (3) Brayden gets up first and turns before falling to
the ropes. Dylan starts to crawl towards Jessica and Brayden dives over and
tags in Aaron. Aaron enters the ring as the crowd roars. Dylan tags in Jessica.
Jessica enters and she runs at Aaron only for Aaron to duck a clothesline
attempt. Jessica turns and Aaron hits a back kick. Dylan turns to him and goes
to nail him but Aaron blocks the right hand before nailing Dylan with a spin
kick to the head. Dylan falls to the mat. Aaron turns around and Jessica kicks
him in the ribs and nails him again and again. He then goes to whip him across
the ring. Aaron bounces off the ropes and Jessica goes for a clothesline, but
Aaron ducks and spins around. He then hits a release German suplex.
Dylan falls to the floor. Aaron then gets up as Jessica holds her head and neck
in pain.
Sharper: “A jolt in this match
from Aaron D’Aubergine. He’s fired up!”
Winters: “He’s also the
freshest now in this match and adrenaline is kicking in.”
Jessica starts to get up. She
stumbles forward and Aaron then grabs him and hits the Rupp Rocker. The crowd ohs. Aaron then turns
and tags in Brayden Walker and Walker climbs to the top rope when suddenly, we
hear loud cheers from the crowd as Dylan Howell is then pulled from the apron
and staggers back only to be pulled back. The camera goes over and we see
Thirteen locking in the Last Breath on Dylan Howell. Dylan struggles, reaching
around as the referee calls for the bell. Aaron and Brayden at first don’t
realize what is going on before Aaron drops down to the floor. Brayden drops
down to the ring.
Sharper: “Thirteen! Thirteen
has Dylan Howell locked in the Last Breath! He’s choking the life out of him!”
Winters: “I guess Thirteen is fine!”
Sharper: “We haven’t seen him
since Brandenburg Burial. And he’s going after Dylan Howell who snapped at his
sister backstage a few weeks ago!”
Thirteen keeps pulling back.
The official heads over as does Aaron D’Aubergine.
Both start to pull him off of Dylan Howell, but he keeps the lock firmly locked
in. The crowd continues to cheer and a “Thirteen!” chant begins as Thirteen keeps trying to keep it on. He continues for a few
moments longer before Brayden comes over too. Thirteen then lets
go and rolls Dylan over. Dylan is completely out as the official checks on him.
Thirteen then starts to back up. Aaron watches him before turning back to
Dylan. Brayden watches him too.
Sharper: “That’s true
integrity! Liberation helping Dylan Howell despite what they did.”
Winters: “That’s stupidity!”
Sharper: “Thirteen just backing away, but the damage done. Dylan Howell has
been choked out here at Fanfest!”
The cameras keep focusing on
them before Thirteen turns and starts to make his way
to the back. The crowd cheers him as he walks off. The official keeps checking
on Dylan Howell as the scene fades to black.

We return to see a wide shot
of the SCW Fanfest floor before cutting back to a
shot of the panel area shown earlier to see Jim Dawson now joined by Greg
Cherry, Jay Gold and Pete Ebdon.
Dawson: “Welcome back here to
Miami. As you can see, we are here at our panel desk on location at SCW Fanfest. I’ve been now joined by Greg Cherry, Jay Gold and
Pete Ebdon.”
All nod.
Dawson: “And we have a lot to
get to, but first, we can update you on what happened between Gable Winchester
and Ravyn Taylor. We have some fan footage for you,
taken on their cell phones. The first angle here, has
the after effect…”
FAN FOOTAGE:
We see a shot of someone
reaching over to Gable and seemingly doing something. The scene is really shaky
and we hear some yelling before some roars from the people around. Several
people run back as security comes into view and we see a female being pulled
back away by security before being held back.
Dawson: “That’s the first. We
can’t really tell what happened there, but then we have this from a fan in
line.”
FAN FOOTAGE:
We then see a shot of the table
with Gable signing something.
Voice: “Almost gonna meet him. Get this signed…look at this line…”
The person turns and pans around
a bit. He turns back to Gable before we see someone new and then that person
reaching up and spraying something into the eyes of Gable. The roaring is heard
as security heads over and quickly starts to push the line back. The sound is
deafening from the poor quality. We see Gable on the ground, holding his eyes.
The footage then ends.
We cut back to show the panel.
Dawson: “Now you can clearly
see someone spraying something into the eyes of Gable Winchester. We know that
someone was Ravyn Taylor. Security confirmed that. We
then found out that she sprayed him with a sunscreen spray. Gable was rushed to
the hospital to have his eyes flushed out. We can tell you though that he’ll be
feeling some burning, but should be able to compete.”
Cherry: “But what does that do
for him. He’s fighting for a title. This isn’t just a normal match, you lose, it sucks. This is for the US Title, at Rise to Greatness.”
Ebdon: “She did what she does.
She’s a brilliant person. I know personally. Helped train
her. She is one of the most technically sound, but the fact is that she
also knows how to get short cuts, how to get around her opponent in different
ways. We all wondered if this was something different from her, if Gable got to
her. She did nothing on Breakdown. This is why. Bring the guard down and now
regardless of what you thought before, she definitely has the advantage
tomorrow night.”
The logo comes up on the
screens behind them before we see shots of stills of each of the matches come
up as they speak about them.
Dawson: “And tomorrow night,
we have a huge night to say the least. Rise to Greatness 2014 in Marlins Park
and some how matches to take place. One being the return of Christy Matthews to the ring against
Mexican signing Mas Deseada.”
Mas Deseada vs. Christy
Matthews
Ebdon: “I don’t know what this Mas Deseada guy is about, but he’s got an attitude. I know
Christy pretty well…she’ll teach him a lesson.”
Gold: “He’s been impressive so
far. Not lost yet and that was with walking out of one match. He could give her
a handful.”
Lucas Knight vs. Ryan Watson
Dawson: “Ryan Watson faces off
against his mentor Lucas Knight.”
Ebdon: “Ryan Watson can be one of
the best in the world. But he’s focusing on all of the wrong things. I’m with
Lucas Knight. He’s going to teach him a few lessons.”
Cherry: “But Lucas has also
gotten Watson pissed off. And after the humiliation Watson’s endured, that can
be big motivation.”
Stacy Kissinger vs. Chris Cannon vs. Angelica Jones
Dawson: “Two people wronged by
Silas Mason face off against one of his hit squad.”
Gold: “Kissinger is getting a
chance to remind people why she was one to never tick off. Chris Cannon, we
already saw what happens when someone threatens Kelcey
Wallace. Ask Jake Starr about that. Angelica Jones may have a hell of a track
record, but this may be too much to counteract.”
David Helms vs. William Mason
Dawson: “Mason wants to become
the number one contender to the SCW World Title. He’s going after Helms and
even attacked his manager and friend Matty Stone to
ensure it.”
Cherry: “This is something
Mason has done in the past.”
Gold: “Why do you say that?”
Cherry: “Certain television
shows will not be named, but Mason does it because it works. And the fact is
that he’s got Helms wanting revenge. He’s got him more angry
by the week. You have to wonder if Mason is okay with just a disqualification
as it can make the same impact as a straight up win.”
James Evans vs. Matt Auclair
SCW Underground Championship
Dawson: “James Evans was
recruited by Ryan Moss, Auclair’s advisor. Evans
turned him down and since then, Auclair and James
Evans have collided numerous times.”
Ebdon: “Is James’ issue with Ryan
Moss or is it with Matt Auclair? It may not matter
anymore because with the Underground Championship on the line, he’s going to
have to look over his shoulder.”
Gold: “But I’ve noticed that Auclair doesn’t seem to be a huge fan of Moss, so you have
to wonder what he’ll think if Moss gets involved.”
Brent Randall vs. Merrick Wiseman
Dawson: “If anyone thought
this may happen in 2014, I’d have called them a liar. Brent Randall will face
off against Merrick Wiseman.”
Cherry: “Jay…you and I
remember what the Mercs were capable of. And they’re
back. We thought just for the Hall of Fame. But it looks like they wanted to
relive some past glory. But they may have pissed off the wrong cowboy.”
Gold: “Yeah and they’re doing
what they do. Cause problems. They paid off someone to act like Wiseman and do
the opposite. They’ve acted like jerks. I can only imagine what tonight may be
like.”
CHBK vs. Donovan Kayl
Dawson: “CHBK will face off against
Donovan Kayl tomorrow. That match will happen.”
Ebdon: “And I can’t think about how
much more amazing this is. He’s going to get the match he didn’t want and he’s
forced to deal with it. Donovan Kayl has beat him before, but now he’s looking to make it much more
decisive.”
Cherry: “Except as we all
know, CHBK always has a plan and who knows what he’ll throw at Donovan Kayl.”
Mikaela Street vs. Gigi Steward vs. Autumn Valentine
SCW Women’s Championship
Dawson: “Women’s Title.
Mikaela Street and Gigi Steward get their shots at Autumn Valentine.”
Ebdon: “Two people who have wanted
this shot for a while. Autumn may not prefer this match but that doesn’t mean
she won’t defend that title with her life. Gigi is hungry, we know it and
Mikaela wants the spotlight. Three very motivated women in
this one. Should be a treat.”
Kennedy Street vs. Katie Steward
Dawson: “Kennedy Street looks
for revenge against Katie Steward!”
Gold: “Format protest may not
be happening in this one, at least from Katie’s side. Kennedy wants to call her
an old hag…Katie Steward knows how to show up and remind you why she’s always
been one of the best.”
Ebdon: “Star of Tomorrow against
one of the most decorated women in SCW history.”
Tommy Valentine vs. Simon Lyman
Dawson: “Two friends with
great respect for one another having a competitive match. Simon Lyman faces off
against Tommy Valentine.”
Cherry: “Tommy Valentine wants
to get back to the upper echelon. Simon Lyman is getting a match where he can
focus on the ring. It’s win win
for both and the compete level for both is off the page. This could be the
sleeper match of the night.”
The Hollow vs. The Falconry vs.
Requiem vs. 4Saken
Double Elimination Match
SCW World Tag Team Championship
Dawson: “Four teams, three
hate Requiem, but the Tag Titles are on the line as well.”
Gold: “What do they want more?
To destroy Requiem who has been brutal to all three teams, or do they want to
be the Tag Team Champions.”
Ebdon: “This is straight up rules
too, so you have to be careful. You can try and go after Requiem, but the fact
is that they can’t bend the rules and neither can anyone else. But it’s double
elimination. You need to eliminate both members of a team to get them out of
there.”
Cherry: “That’s the key. You
have to make sure if you get rid of one, you gotta
get rid of the other or else we may see some big hail mary type passes being made by desperate people and
that can massively change the match.”
Shilo Valiant vs. Regan Street
Dawson: “This match we thought
we’d see at Apocalypse last year. It didn’t happen. It’ll happen this year. Shilo Valiant faces off against Regan Street.”
Cherry: “Shilo
has had Regan jump through hoops. He gave her his opportunity. He returned to
face her tomorrow night, but he wanted the Hellcat. He’s getting the Hellcat.”
Ebdon: “He’s all about
entertainment. But he may have made his life more difficult by pissing Regan off.
We’ve seen through her entire career why that’s a bad plan.”
Gold: “That may be the point.
No excuses on either side.”
Kelcey Wallace vs. Syren vs. Jake Starr vs.
Shaun Cruze
SCW World Championship
Dawson: “And finally, the main
event, the World Championship on the line. Perfect in singles matches against
one loss in 2014 against undefeated at Rise to Greatness and the World Champion
that not been pinned or submitted since last Fall.
Wallace. Syren. Starr. Cruze.”
Cherry: “Huge main event and
they’ve talked about how this is a battle of four of the best. That’s as
advertised. All former, or current, champions. All
have been at the top of the ladder. It’s hard to believe that this is the first
Rise to Greatness main event for Jake Starr, but as for who the favourite, flip
a lot of coins, because this could be easily the hardest match in Rise to
Greatness history to pick.”
Gold: “And with all of the
different emotions. The anger over the Trios Tournament
contracts being cashed, the alliances to prevent people from getting injured,
to the growing rift between Kelcey Wallace and Silas
Mason to everything else. This could come down to who can channel that
all the best.”
Ebdon: “Let’s also point out one
thing here. Syren is the only one who has been in the
main event of Rise to Greatness. Kelcey Wallace and
Shaun Cruze both have broken through the glass
ceiling this past year. Jake Starr, he’s been at the top for a long damn time.
But Syren knows what that pressure is like. That
could be a big key in this one.”
Dawson: “Rise to Greatness
tomorrow night, live on pay per view. We have a full hour of analysis and last
minute updates at 6 p.m. The event then starts at 7 p.m. Eastern. It’s the
biggest time of the year. Thank you to Greg, Jay and Pete for joining me. Thank
you for joining us tonight. The SCW Hall of Fame Class of 2014 induction
special is next! Enjoy!”
