The logo remains on the screen for a few moments before we cut to a live shot inside the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Knots: “Not just that, but a lot has changed. Ace Marshall not here. That means Dark Fantasy returns to action, defending the World Tag Titles against the Alloccos in their second match together!”

Sharper: “Along with that, some huge matches – US title on the line. Kimberly Williams’s Open Invitational and we’re kicking things off with Gavin Taylor and Simon Lyman competing to find out who will be the next number one contender!”

Simon Lyman vs. Gavin Taylor

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show

And the song continues. The crowd cheers as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Phillips: “The opening contest tonight at Apocalypse is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit and is to determine the number one contender to the SCW World Championship! First, on his way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, he is The All Star, Gavin Taylor!”

Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feel it whoa (whoa)
The more I need it whoa (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

I cheated to get what I got
Stepped all over you self for my spot
I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not
I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor hoping tonight he can rewrite what happened at Rise to Greatness. To defeat Simon Lyman and with bigger stakes.”

Knots: “Yeah, but we saw this get more and more personal since and he doesn’t trust Simon one bit.”

Sharper: “Simon can claim he did not intend to hit Steve Hollinsworth, the official, which prevented Gavin from winning. Best way to remove doubt – repeat the result. Win again. And this time, the winner gets a World Championship match in the near future.”

“Hero” by Skillet plays throughout the arena. The crowd cheers as the lights flash around the stage. A few moments pass before Simon Lyman walks out from the back in his wrestling robe. He looks around and poses to the crowd as pyro shoots from both sides of the stage. Lyman glances at the ring before nodding and starts to head to the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Columbus, Ohio, he is Simply Sensational, Simon Lyman!”

Lyman walks down to the ring and goes to the steel steps. He walks up them and onto the apron. He looks around and nods before stepping into the ring. He steps forward and extends his arms again. The crowd roars. Lyman looks around. Simon then undoes the strap of the robe before sliding the robe down and turning and spinning it around. He looks out at the crowd before placing the robe over the top rope to the floor. He then runs back and forth along the ropes as the music fades out. Gavin watches him as Simon turns and looks at him, smirking.

Sharper: “Simon’s attitude has continued to develop. We’ve heard rumours of him also being involved in the invitational later. He and Amy were in the Tag Team Turmoil.”

Knots: “Going after any and all opportunities. But where’s Amy? Amy’s not with him. I’ve heard rumours that Simon and Amy aren’t exactly on the up and up anymore.”

Sharper: “Simon Lyman seems to be all in to making the most of this run. Whatever is left of it. However long it lasts.”

Knots: “Whosever’s respect he may lose.”

Lyman leans back as Gavin Taylor looks at him. Steve Hollinsworth, the official, looks at both.

Sharper: “And the same referee as at Rise to Greatness is in the ring to call this one. Steve Hollinsworth.”

Knots: “At least he doesn’t have a shiner!”

Hollinsworth calls for the bell. The bell sounds. Taylor steps up and tells Lyman to come at him. Lyman nods as the crowd roars and the two then step toward one another and lock-up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another as Taylor gets the advantage. He starts to push Lyman back into the corner. Lyman backs up and leans back. Taylor pushes back. Hollinsworth calls for the break.

The dimly lit backstage area of SCW Apocalypse seems to pulse with an eerie energy, casting long, distorted shadows on the concrete walls. Damian Marshall, consumed by the mystery of his brother's disappearance, navigates through the labyrinthine corridors, his footsteps echoing eerily.

Suddenly, as if materializing out of the shadows themselves, a small, weathered envelope appears before Damian, pinned to the wall by an ornate dagger. The envelope bears no sender's name and is sealed with a wax stamp, marked with an enigmatic symbol.

With a sense of trepidation, Damian carefully opens the envelope and withdraws a handwritten letter. The ink on the parchment appears almost blood-red under the dim lighting.

The letter reads:

"Dear Damian,"

"As the stars converge and the shadows deepen, know that the enigma's web stretches far and wide. The answers you seek dwell within the darkest recesses of your mind, waiting to be unraveled."

"But beware, for each thread you pull may reveal a greater enigma, and every revelation could plunge you deeper into the abyss."

"At the stroke of midnight, the veil of secrets shall shatter, and the true test of your resolve shall begin. Trust in yourself, for in the end, you are your own savior and your own nemesis."

"The enigma thrives on your doubts and fears, but it is your unwavering determination that will ultimately lead to the truth."

"Embrace the shadows, Damian, and prepare for the revelation that awaits."

The letter offers no signature or clue to its origin, leaving Damian with more questions than answers as the enigma's cryptic presence continues to haunt his quest for answers.  As Damian walks into his locker room after reading the letter, he closes that door and underneath it, a thick black smoke comes out from underneath the door.

Kelsai Adamson vs. “The One” Kirsten Scott vs. Deanna Frost

SCW United States Championship

The familiar riffs of Nickelback's "Savin Me" begins and soon Kelsai Adamson appears at the top of stage with Chance Owens, who is wearing a walking boot. The crowd looks on and gives her a mixed reaction before Adamson and Owens head to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit and is for the SCW United States Championship. First, the challengers, accompanied by Chance Owens, from Denver, Colorado, she is Kelsai Adamson!”

As she walks down the aisle toward the ring she soaks in the mixed reaction from the crowd. Owens limps down to the ring behind her. Getting into the ring, a smile starts to form on her lips as she looks around at the crowd and then starts to stretch out.

Sharper: “Chance Owens coming out with Kelsai Adamson-“

Knots: “Where’s Adam Brock?”

Sharper: “Don’t know, but Brock maybe told to stay backstage. He and The One got into it. It led to Kelsai and Deanna Frost, who was nearby, trying to regain order. In the process, Owens and Brock got tangled. Owens hurt his foot, hence the walking boot.”

Knots: “And in all of this, Kelsai Adamson now getting a title shot!”

The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz wondering who is coming out.  As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.

As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...

AUS!

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey.  The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey.  Kirsten and her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle. The SCW Television Championship sits around her waist.

Phillips: “Next, accompanied by Hailey and The Oracle, from Your Deepest Personal Nightmare, she is the SCW Television Champion, The One, Kirsten Scott!”

As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up.  Hailey goes into the ring, directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle rope, and The Oracle stands on the floor directly beneath Kirsten.  Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, while Hailey and The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's direction as well, all signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The One."

After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out in a "DELETE" motion, before quickly sliding into the open ropes from being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her corner.  Hailey quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the outside.  Both of "The One's" compatriots stand with her, advising her and talking to her, as she awaits the bell ringing to start her match. She hands them her TV Championship.

Sharper: “The One, Kirsten Scott, long history with Deanna Frost. She’s been dealing with Chance Owens, Adam Brock, and Kelsai Adamson with regards to the TV Title. She’s been standing tall on that title.”

Knots: “Looking to get another one and against someone she hates in Deanna. This could be fun. And Kelsai…let them fight. Pick up the pieces! Step back and enjoy the fireworks!”

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The SCW United States Championship is over her shoulder. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet. The crowd gives a mixed reaction

Phillips: “And finally, from Manhattan, New York, the SCW United States Champion, Deanna Frost!”

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, Frost jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, raising the SCW United States Championship to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring! She then hands off the title to the official, Aaron Demitra. Demitra holds the title over his head as the SCW United States Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “And notice that…no mention of the Queen’s Guard. Just focusing on Deanna Frost, her name, the title.”

Knots: “Selena Frost may be gone. And Deanna’s on her own. And she’s a champion, but you can tell that’s derailed her a bit. Selena was her rock.”

Sharper: “Now she has to stand on her own. And her actions got her into the match. Now can she retain the title and focus on what she can do in the ring. Don’t worry about the fans. Worry about the competition in that ring.”

Demitra hands off the title as he checks on all three competitors. He then calls for the bell. The bell sounds and Kelsai runs at The One Kirsten Scott and nails her with a forearm shot and then another. Deanna runs over and grabs Kelsai, but Kelsai knees her in the ribs. Deanna spins around in pain as Kelsai grabs Scott and then turns and runs her into the corner, driving her head first into the top turnbuckle. She then turns around and grabs at Deanna, but Deanna breaks her hold and forearms her in the jaw once and then again. Kelsai falls to the ropes. Deanna whips her across. Kelsai bounces across and Deanna goes for a clothesline. Kelsai ducks and jumps to the middle rope. She twists in the air for a crossbody, but Deanna drops down. Kelsai then rolls through. Scott runs out and nails her with a running clothesline. Kelsai hits the mat. Scott turns as Deanna runs at her. Scott sidesteps and sends her in. She bounces off and Scott hits a back elbow. Deanna hits the mat. Scott goes for the pin.

Deanna kicks out.

Sharper: “Only one as a hectic start here. Kelsai Adamson setting the pace and everyone following.”

Knots: “And maybe there’s a plan there. Catch someone offguard. Owens and Adamson have been doing a lot of trying new strategies, all to get them the attention they wish.”

Scott and Deanna get up and Scott kicks Deanna in the ribs and fires her off into the corner. Deanna hits and Scott runs after and Deanna gets an elbow up. Sharper: “Deanna powers Kelsai up. Throwing her over and across her knee.”

Knots: “Good news is that Kirsten Scott also wanted to send a message to Kelsai. Deanna’s just focusing on retaining.”

Sharper: “Only her title on the line. TV Title not on the line.”

Knots: “Because we’re not on TV Sharper. I mean we’re being watched on some, but this is pay per view.”

Kelsai rolls over in pain. Deanna turns and grabs Kirsten Scott as she gets up and forearms her before firing her off. Scott bounces off the ropes and Deanna catches her with a knee. Scott flips forward to her backside. She gets up with Deanna’s assistance before she then scoops her up and muscles her onto her shoulder and hits a snake eyes. The crowd ohs as Scott staggers back. Deanna then lunges and hits a clothesline. She goes for the pin.

Scott kicks out. Deanna looks over to her, but then Kelsai grabs Deanna from behind and pulls her up by the head and throws her hard into the corner. Kelsai stomps her a few times before backing up and then running to the corner jumping to the middle rope and grabbing the top rope before swinging back down with a pendulum dropkick in the corner. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Kelsai using her momentum to maximum effect. Just swinging back down and right into Deanna’s face.”

Knots: “Well if Deanna needed help to forget about Selena, Kelsai’s helping. After she’s done, Selena may not recognize her!”

Kelsai then turns and drags Deanna out of the corner for a pin, but Scott runs up behind Kelsai and nails her with a Hidden Blade. The crowd ohs as Kelsai hits the mat and rolls over. Owens limps around the ring and Scott goes for the pin on Deanna.

Deanna kicks out. Scott then stomps Deanna in the face once and then again before stopping. She shakes her head and turns to Adamson and drags her up. Adamson staggers a bit but The One then grabs her and pulls her in before hitting a vertical suplex. She swivels her hips and gets back up and then glances behind her and hits a suplex into Deanna as she gets to her hands and knees. Kelsai grimaces in pain too.

Sharper: “Using Kelsai as a weapon!”

Knots: “And hurting Deanna too. Why not? I mean with Kelsai and Chance’s machinations and desires for gold, the ego has to weigh extra!”

Sharper: “Scott’s still going!”

Scott swivels her hips again and hoists Kelsai up, but this time, turning and throwing her over the top rope to the floor. Kelsai hits the mats and rolls through to her mat. Scott turns and walks over to Deanna and hits a running knee to the side of her head. Deanna hits the mat. Scott goes for the pin.

Deanna gets her shoulder up. Scott rolls off. She then grabs Deanna as Chance Owens goes over to check on Kelsai. Scott pulls Deanna up and moves her to the corner. She then nails her with a series of strikes, lefts and rights, to the body of Deanna. Scott then whips Deanna across the ring to the opposite side. Deanna hits the corner. Scott runs after and clotheslines her. She backs up and scoops Deanna up, but Deanna kicks her legs and lands behind Scott. Scott turns around and swings. Deanna ducks and spins around as Scott bounces off the ropes only for Deanna to kick her in the ribs and hit a snap DDT. She rolls Scott over and hooks the leg.

Scott gets her shoulder up. Deanna rolls off. She then starts to get up. Scott gets up and grits her teeth and then runs at Deanna who catches her and hits a flapjack. The crowd ohs. Scott pops up and Deanna grabs her by the waist and hits a release German suplex.

Sharper: “Flapjack! And then…German suplex!”

Knots: “Scott got a bit too aggressive. Deanna’s used to that. She’s had to deal with Selena losing it all!”

Sharper: “And Deanna now following up and looks to be using some of those strikes to good measure!”

Scott slowly gets up, looking up, while on her knees. Deanna then steps up and hits a shoot kick to the chest. She rears back and kicks her again before then running back before running at Scoot and hitting a running dropkick. She goes for the pin.

2!

Scott kicks out. Scott rolls over and Deanna grabs her and pulls her up only for Kelsai to return to the match, springboarding to the top rope, twisting in the air, jumping off and hitting a moonsault, taking both Scott and Frost down!

Sharper: “And Adamson back in as Scott and Frost were too focused on one another!”

Knots: “And that’s all it takes. Get a shot in from the side. What worked for them at Rise to Greatness and Adamson could have SCW gold!”

Adamson rolls through. Deanna stirs and Adamson runs over and grabs Deanna by the head and runs up the corner and hits a tornado DDT. Kelsai goes for the pin, hooking the leg.

2!

Deanna kicks out. Kelsai rolls off and Scott grabs Kelsai and throws her out of the ring, over the top rope. Kelsai lands again hard on the floor. Scott just snaps at her to “f*ck off” before Scott turns to Deanna who starts to get up and Deanna rolls her up with an inside cradle.

Scott kicks out. Both get up and Deanna kicks her in the ribs and hits the Spring Fling DDT. Deanna geos for the pin.

Scott gets her shoulder up. Deanna then turns and rolls over again and runs into the ropes. Kelsai however pulls down on the top rope and Deanna goes up and over to the floor.

Sharper: “Kelsai again stopping Deanna! Deanna hard to the floor!”

Knots: “Scott may be the target now for Kelsai. Why not after she dumped her to the floor for the second time.”

Kelsai then waits as Scott slowly gets up and Kelsai springboards to the top rope and dives forward, landing on Scott’s shoulders and snapping her over into a hurricanrana.

1!

2!

Scott just kicks out. The crowd ohs. Kelsai falls forward. She starts to get up and turns and Scott rolls over. Kelsai kicks her in the chest once and then again before grabbing her, but Scott then lifts her up and turns and throws her out of the ring again.

Scott: “Done with you…and him!”

Scott points to Owens too. She turns back and heads over to the other side of the ring where Deanna Frost has now gotten back onto the apron. Scott grabs her, but Deanna shoulders her in the ribs. She then grabs the top rope and somersaults over the back of Scott and runs across the ring and hits a suicide dive through the ropes and onto Kelsai as she gets up. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And Deanna through the ropes!”

Knots: “She also doesn’t want Kelsai in the ring!”

Deanna rolls over and winces as Owens heads over to check on Kelsai. Deanna pulls herself up to her feet and moves to the ropes and grabs at the ropes before Scott runs at Deanna and nails her with a running knee strike. The crowd ohs as Deanna falls back and down to the mats. Scott walks around the ring before the crowd erupts as Adam Brock walks out from the back, looking clearly annoyed.

Sharper: “And Scott sends Deanna to the floor. I don’t know if it’s the same as what she’s been doing with Kelsai Adamson. She’s been sending Kelsai to the floor. She wants to beat Deanna.”

Knots: “And I think Adam Brock noticed that!”

Sharper: “Brock coming to the ring. We wondered where he is. And he looked quite annoyed.”

Knots: “He’s coming to fight, Sharper!”

Brock heads to the ring as Scott turns to him.

Scott: “You want to get involved now?”

Brock: “If you’re going to keep disrespecting them-“

Scott: “They couldn’t handle me and you can’t deal with it!”

Brock: “And that’s why you went after them at the Tag Turmoil?”

Scott: “Fuck off!”

Brock then turns and slides into the ring. He gets up and Scott clubs him in the back once and then again and again before she goes to push him back, but Brock stops her and lifts her up and throws her forward, chest first. Scott hits the mat and Brock looks at her. Scott gets up and runs at him, only for Brock to scoop her up and then hit the Full Moon. Scott hits the mat and rolls to the floor. Hailey heads around as Owens limps over too. Brock drops down to the floor as Scott rolls over. Officials run out from the back and start to get around Brock. Scott gets up and reaches for Brock. They keep fighting as Kelsai runs Deanna into the ringpost. She grabs her and rolls her into the ring. Deanna stirs and starts to get up and Kelsai hits a spinning heel kick. The crowd roars as Brock and Scott keep trying to get at one another with Owens and Hailey also trying to help their allies, as officials try to keep them apart. Kelsai exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. She looks down at Deanna and goes for the Bombs Away. Deanna rolls out of the way. Kelsai hits the mat and pops up.

Sharper: “Bombs Away!”

Knots: “No one there! Just a crater where Kelsai landed!”

Deanna gets up and Kelsai winces and turns to her as Deanna hoists her up onto her shoulders before hitting the Checkmate. She leans over for the pin.

2!

3!

The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Scott turns as she heads to the ring. Deanna rolls off and looks at her as she’s handed the US Championship. Scott then turns and snaps at Brock as Brock is now being pushed away.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and STILL SCW United States Champion, Deanna Frost!”

Sharper: “Kelsai Adamson tried to take advantage of the chaos, but Deanna held true and then with the Checkmate, driving Kelsai into the mat. A new page, a new finisher? Not using the Burnout?”

Knots: “She got it, but Kirsten Scott is livid! Adam Brock came down here and Scott had everything in control!”

Sharper: “Brock just coming and openly getting involved. Officials still trying to break this up. Instead of focusing on Deanna’s defense, we’re focusing on the war Scott started and Brock is continuing!”

Deanna holds the title over her head as the crowd gives her a mixed reaction. Brock is forced to the back as Owens heads over to check on Kelsai. Scott leans on the apron, annoyed, as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Kimberly Williams smiling as she stands next to Jessica Winters. The crowd cheers seeing the SCW Underground Champion.

Winters: “I am here backstage with the SCW Underground Champion, Kimberly Williams. A bit of a birthday gift for you. Some chaos here at Apocalypse. You have an open invitational and what are you expecting?”

Kim: “Expecting? I’m expecting someone to come out here and maim someone. Bludgeon them. Make people bleed. Have some fun. Make the fans cheer and make me look forward to defending this title against you. The Underground is going nowhere and damn it, we’re going to have some fun.”

Winters: “So what are the rules of this?”

Kim laughs.

Kim: “Rules! There are no rules….okay, there are some. I had to rules in. Apparently, having people fight to the death is frowned upon. WAY TO GO CHBK!”

Kim sighs.

Kim: “So it’s falls count anywhere…and well…they have to bring a weapon. And I’ll my list and check it twice. Christmas is early and Kimmie Claus has her list! See you out there!”

Kim smiles and heads off. Jessica nods and turns to the camera.

Winters: “Back to the ring.”

Colleen vs. Marissa Swanson

Steel Cage Match

As the steel cage lowers, strobe lights light it up, all the way until the cage latches against the ring.

Sharper: “Well this one is definitely personal. Not only has Marissa kidnapped Polly, but apparently these two that we are about to see do have a bit of a past history, away from the wrestling, but still.”

Knots: “Too much drama for my taste. I just find the whole situation here weird.”

Sharper: “That we agree on. Polly has had ample opportunities to accept aid from CHBK, the SCW Legal Team, and several police authorities, but has turned it all down. From what we have heard, she has done so because Marissa has been training her and working her hard to literally to the bone, to bring out the best from her. I don’t buy it.”

Knots: “Me neither. I see no reason for a collar and a leash. But sigh, at least a cage is involved. That’s some entertainment.”

Sharper rolls his eyes.

Jason Phillips remains in his seat by the timekeeper’s area and announces the match from there.

Phillips: “The following contest is a Steel Cage Match, where to win you must either pin your opponent, make your opponent submit, or by escaping the cage with both feet hitting the floor.”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear but does have a pink ribbon that has a picture of Polly’s face smiling in the circular part of the ribbon. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks up at the cold, unforgiving steel structure. She nods again before climbing up the ring steps and stepping in between the ropes, through the doorway. Polly’s old Purity Pixie theme continues to play for a bit as Colleen puts her head down as she warms up in the middle of the ring. As the music quiets, she lifts her head back up, showing that her eyes are as dark as night.

Sharper: “We have received word from the back that Colleen has told Aisling to stay backstage, that she wants to go it alone here tonight. Colleen definitely looks ready to go. I’m guessing she is dedicating her efforts against Marissa to Polly.”

Knots: “You don’t miss a thing. Maybe this mess can end tonight. It is so blatantly obvious that Polly is being held against her will.”

Sharper: “Yes. As we discussed a bit ago though, Marissa promised to make Polly better. And lo and behold, after the close loss to Syren on Rise to Greatness weekend, Polly hasn’t lost a match. On the other hand, if Colleen wins right here and right now, Marissa will not be contracted by SCW. A lot is at stake here.”

Colleen just stares at the stage for another minute before finally again a coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, but then there is complete silence, nothing on the SCW titantron appearing. It is 10 seconds before the beginning of "Prisoner" by Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa begins to play. Colleen’s eyes narrow but still Marissa keeps her waiting.

The music plays for quite some time and it is not until quite a bit into the song when Polly emerges from the back in handcuffs, being led on a dog collar and leash by former Asylum Wrestling Alliance World Champion, Marissa Swanson, both of them wearing matching simple short black strapless dresses. The crowd boos as Marissa tugs Polly down to ringside via using the leash that is in her right hand. In her left hand, she is carrying a pet carrier. At the bottom of the ramp, Polly looks up at the steel cage and into the cage, right at Colleen’s eyes. Polly immediately cries as Marissa shakes her head. Marissa pets Polly on the top of her head as she escorts Polly up the steel steps. She steps in between the ropes and then tugs on the leash hard enough to make Polly drop to her knees out on the ring apron. Marissa is frustrated and she yells at Polly to come through the ropes. Polly does so as Colleen looks like she is about ready to pounce. The referee holds her back, but is struggling to do so.

Polly stays down on her hands and knees, which is when Marissa puts the pet carrier down, opens the door and orders Polly to crawl in. The crowd boos even louder and Colleen is getting more and more angry. Polly crawls in and Marissa locks the door shut before pushing the carrier into the corner of the ring by the cage door, clearly wanting to force Polly to watch what is about to happen. Colleen loses it and breaks out of the referee’s clutches and spears Marissa right into the side of the steel cage, right by the pet carrier that now holds Polly from doing anything.

Sharper: “If things couldn’t get any weirder, now we have a pet carrier involved. I guess she doesn’t trust Polly quite yet.”

Knots: “I guess not. Colleen though not even waiting for Marissa to get introduced or for the bell to ring, spearing Marissa right into the cage! And she’s not letting up!”

Colleen traps Marissa against the cage, delivering punch after punch after punch, right into Marissa’s gut, doubling her over. As she is bent over, Colleen whips Marissa hard across the ring. Marissa’s back hits the steel of the cage on the other side of the ring, as the referee calls for the bell to officially begin the match. Marissa winces as Colleen comes at her again, but this time she sees her coming and ducks. Colleen stops herself from hitting the steel herself, using her hands to whoa up. Marissa takes advantage of this and slips her right leg right around Colleen’s left one, bringing her backwards and down to the canvas with a leg sweep. The back of Colleen’s head hits the canvas pretty hard and she begins to roll around, wincing herself now.

Marissa: “That’s what you get! You wanted this? You got it! BITCH!”

Marissa gets up and purposely walks right across Colleen’s breast area with her wrestling shoes. After going the one way, she turns and goes back the other way. Colleen winces again but slowly does begin to get up. Marissa cuts her off at the pass though and grabs Colleen by the waist, looking to get her up and over. Colleen resists though and Marissa is unable to do what she was thinking about doing. Colleen lands on her feet, spins and decks Marissa with a clothesline, dropping her right to the mat. The current camera angle catches Polly looking hopeful while behind the cage door of the pet carrier. Colleen looks down at Marissa but seems to know better than to just go for a pinfall attempt. She brings Marissa up to her feet and again chucks her right into the nearest side of the steel cage. After hitting the steel and bouncing off of it, Marissa holds her left elbow. A camera gets a closer look to see that it is cut open.

Knots: “Oooh, Colleen drawing first blood. Marissa looks angry now. Here we go!”

The look on Marissa’s face turns really sour as she goes to land a superkick to Colleen. Colleen dodges it though, backing up so Marissa gets nothing but air. While in midair, Colleen hops up and gets Marissa’s legs, dropping her back to the canvas, this time Marissa’s head hitting quite hard. The crowd ohs as Colleen goes for the first cover of the match.

1…

2…

Marissa kicks out but is holding her head. She screams out, sort of sounding something close to Katie Steward. Marissa angrily comes to her feet. Colleen moves away, backing her way up towards Polly. While keeping her eyes on her opponent, Colleen can be heard asking Polly if she is okay. Marissa can be heard telling Colleen to leave her puppy alone. Polly lets out one solitary loud “RUFF!” that both of them hear. Marissa grins evilly before she begs Colleen to tie up with her. Colleen actually complies and the two meet in the center of the cage, turning each other around, neither of them gaining the advantage, until finally Marissa steps on Colleen’s left foot to distract her. Marissa then grabs Colleen and wraps an arm around her neck, before dropping Colleen to the canvas. Marissa gets up and backs away, climbing to the nearest middle rope. The crowd boos as Marissa smirks with mal-intent. She then leaps off the middle rope, crashing perfectly right onto Colleen’s chest. Marissa reaches for Colleen’s left leg and goes for a cover.

1…

2…

Colleen kicks out. Marissa rolls her eyes but doesn’t let up. She gets up, grabs Colleen by the head and drags her into a corner of the ring. Marissa uses the strength she does have to power Colleen partially up. She then simply throws Colleen right into the steel… HARD! So hard that the ribbon for Polly falls off of her top. Marissa looks down at it before picking it up and speaking gruffly down at her opponent.

Marissa: “She is MY prize, not yours!”

Marissa kicks Colleen right in her right side, leaving her laying. Marissa backs up, keeping her eyes on Colleen, all the way until she is by the pet carrier. Once there she slips the ribbon in through the carrier bars, handing the ribbon off to Polly. Marissa then sets up and waits for Colleen to slowly rise to her feet. When she does, Marissa charges at Colleen, driving her right into the corner, Colleen’s back hitting hard against the turnbuckle of the ring. Colleen looks dazed and Marissa takes advantage of her state. Marissa hops up to the middle rope, comes off and is able to in midair latch her legs around Colleen’s head, delivering a picture perfect head scissors takeover, which puts Colleen back down on the mat, face first. Marissa scrambles, rolls the bigger Colleen over, and goes for the pin, using the fingers on her left hand to count with the referee.

1…

2…

Colleen is able to roll the shoulder just before the 3 can happen. Marissa turns to the referee and screams “NO!!!”

The referee holds up two fingers.

Sharper: “Clearly Marissa just wants an SCW contract and wants to get the hell out of dodge here tonight.”

Knots: “I don’t blame her in that regard. Colleen is not fun to deal with. Just ask Josh Hudson. He was smart to get on her good side after the one meeting he had with her.”

Sharper: “Indeed.”

Marissa is annoyed but stands up. She then reaches down and grabs Colleen by the arms. She turns her back over on her stomach and then backs up, bringing Colleen with her over to the side of the steel cage where Polly is stuck in the pet carrier. While peering into the carrier, Marissa shoves Colleen’s head onto the middle rope before going to try to grind Colleen’s face against the solid steel.

Marissa: “Well my puppy, enjoy watching your former friend get what she has coming to her! She should have NEVER messed with me!”

Marissa is about to grind Colleen’s face into the steel when Polly can be heard shouting out.

Polly: “STOP!!! PLEASE STOP!!! Don’t do this to her!!! I promise to stay with you and only you!!!”

Marissa smiles.

Marissa: “Good puppy. Now-”

Colleen suddenly maneuvers her left leg and trips Marissa up, dropping her on her butt, which allows her to get away from the fate that Marissa had lined up for her. Marissa stands right back up though and runs right at Colleen. Colleen attempts to sidestep but is a bit too slow, leading Marissa to get a good chunk of her, driving Colleen into the corner perpendicular to where Polly is. Marissa is the most pissed off she has been the entire time as she then pulls Colleen out of the corner, somehow able to hit a hip toss and plant Colleen right on her back close to the middle of the ring. Marissa is breathing hard but definitely has the aggression and desire needed to get what she wants.

Sharper: “This can’t be good. Marissa has turned it up a notch after Colleen escaped her clutches.”

Knots: “I’m actually afraid for Colleen, and she’s no slouch.”

Marissa goes to where she has laid Colleen out and jumps onto her lower back with both feet, not once, not twice, but three times. Colleen is in pain, which is music to Marissa’s ears. Feeling she has Colleen hurt enough, she forces Colleen to her feet and drags her to the nearest corner. Marissa holds onto Colleen’s hands tightly as she then ascends to the middle turnbuckle. Marissa looks around, sticking her tongue out oddly before licking her chops. She then shoves Colleen’s head in between her legs. It looks like she is about to take flight, but from her pet carrier, Polly is able to reach the fingers of her left hand through a small opening on the left side of the pet carrier. She is able to pull at the middle rope just enough to make Marissa have to re-steady herself. From beneath, Colleen has had just enough time to realize where she is. She uses her hands to grab Marissa’s legs. Colleen steps back one step and yanks at Marissa’s legs, bringing her back to the canvas. Marissa is irate now and kicks Colleen, right on the right side of her head. Colleen feels all of that one and drops to the mat like a sack of potatoes. Marissa angrily grabs Colleen’s hands HARD again and simply lifts her a bit upward before dropping her with her old patented Swan Song maneuver, planting her face first into the canvas. The crows ohs and boos.

Sharper: “That’s the Swan Song. Marissa about to get all that she has ever wanted. This is not good for SCW. Not at all.”

Marissa slowly rolls Colleen over, making sure Polly sees it happening. She then lays on top of Colleen as the referee counts.

1…

2…

Thr-

Colleen somehow rolls her shoulder just enough to stop the three count. Marissa cannot believe it and is completely going ballistic.

Marissa: “THIS IS OVER!!! I WON!!! GIVE ME MY CONTRACT!!!”

The referee points two fingers at her once again. Marissa is seething and stands up, now chasing after the referee inside the cage. Meanwhile Polly has begun to push on the pet carrier door, trying to open it. She reaches the fingers of her right hand through and uses her nails that are kind of long to try and pick the lock. The crowd begins to cheer a little upon seeing this.

Sharper: “She’s trying to get out. Come on Polly! Save your future!”

Knots: “For once, I agree with you. End this madness!”

Marissa now sees that Polly is trying to escape, so she heads to the carrier, which gives Colleen time to recover. Colleen slowly but gingerly comes to her feet. Marissa is busy scolding Polly, telling her she is going to give her the punishment she deserves later on tonight. Marissa does not see her opponent coming. Colleen just throws herself right at Marissa, which flips the pet carrier upwards, and splats Marissa right against the cage door, which is still closed. Polly’s fingers can be seen coming out of the bars. Colleen then pulls Marissa with her before she flings her into the near side of the cage. Marissa’s right arm hits that awkwardly and we can see blood coming from her right arm now. Colleen smells blood in the water and chooses to scoop the bleeding Marissa up. She gets her up partially and then uses the strength she has left to lift her up all the way onto her shoulders. Colleen racks her for a few seconds before spinning Marissa out, dropping her right on her back. Marissa is in agony. The crowd is cheering hard now. Colleen is seething mad but keeps her focus on the now downed Marissa. This time it’s Colleen that grabs Marissa’s head. She does not hesitate as she shoves it right between her thick thighs. Colleen then drops Marissa’s head HARD to the canvas with the Polly Pop. The crowd goes nuts.

Sharper: “Oh shoot! Polly’s move to put down Marissa Swanson?”

Knots: “Yes please!”

Colleen angrily rolls Marissa over, and hooks up both legs, also driving her left arm into Marissa’s throat. The referee drops for the fall.

1…

2…

3!!!

DING DING DING! The crowd cheers and then sees the pet carrier door pop open. Colleen gets off of Marissa and turns to see this too. She goes and helps Polly out of the carrier. The moment she is out, the two hug.

Jason Phillips: “Here is your winner… COLLEEN!!!”

Knots: “It’s over! Maybe now Polly can have her freedom. Hopefully she won’t have to go through anything like this ever again. No one should have to.

Sharper: “How true those words are. Polly has definitely eaten her humble pie, but even with freedom, she has some apologizing to do. The good thing for the SCW roster, no contract for Marissa Swanson! Though then again, that might be bad news! We will have to wait to find out!”

The steel cage door is opened and Polly quickly scurries out of the ring, still wearing the dog collar and leash, but at this point she doesn’t care. Colleen follows behind her. Marissa is just now shaking off the cobwebs and has seen what has happened.

Marissa: “This is NOT OVER!!!!”

Marissa smacks the mat with frustration many times as “How Far I’ll Go” begins to play again throughout the arena. Both Polly and Colleen look back at Marissa, with Colleen showing her the middle finger. Polly still looks nervous about what Marissa might do, so she stays extremely close to Colleen before the two head to the back. The scene cuts away from here.

Backstage, we see a camera starting to move toward the locker room of the Holly Adams Brand. Jaina Lancaster is with the camera, slowly moving closer to the door. Jaina knocks on the door. We hear shuffling.

Woman’s voice: “Don’t answer it! We’re busy!”

Man’s voice: “But we can get the word out-“

Women’s voice: “I’ll deal with it-“

The door opens as we see LHS stick her head out. The camera tries to peer over her, revealing Holly Adams and GiGi Aries in their normal clothes, not that that means anything.

Jaina: “Can I-“

LHS: “OFFICIAL statement…no…and stop bothering us. The Brand will make their statement tonight when they’re ready.”

Jaina: “Well the Brand’s match is next.”

LHS freezes and looks around before quickly moving back into the room, slamming the door behind her. Jaina turns to the camera, shaking her head as Apocalypse returns to the ring.

Xander Valentine vs. A Member of Holly Adams’s Brand

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Soul on Fire chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill
Others are born to run
Some need to keep on takin'
Till you ain't got none”

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die
Lay down and be crucified
Nah, no matter how hard they try
To push me down
Still I rise”

“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp while Artemis steps up from behind him and throws his arm up into the air. Together they start down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “Fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado… from Rochester, New York… weighing in at 300 pounds, standing at six foot ten inches, he is the SCW Hall of Famer, a former SCW World Champion, the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner…. XANDER F’ING VALENTINE!”

Suffocate me until I am blue
To preserve my bad worldview
Paranoid, All Eyes On Me
Rumours circle, vultures feed

Baby, I wasn't built to die
Lay down and be crucified
Nah, no matter how hard they try
To push me down
Still I rise

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Artemis joins him by slipping below the bottom rope. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell. Artemis leans up and whispers into his ears before departing with a kiss on his neck.

Sharper: “Xander is out here. Any member of the brand will be his opponent tonight. And you have to wonder who Holly Adams will pick.”

Knots: “Giovanni— pardon me, GiGi would be almost a dream match. Maybe she will pick herself.”

Sharper: “A week ago on Breakdown, the Brand got themselves involved with the Executioner. The ensuing match ended in a disqualification. Left Xander Valentine wanting some payback against the group. I doubt Holly will put herself in the line of fire.”

The intro from "W Face," by Kumi Koda quickly fades out as "XXPENSIVE," By Erika Jayne kicks in full force around the arena as the stage comes into focus. Xander Valentine points towards the curtain in the ring as Holly Adams walk out from the back. She raises her arm, and starts to wave. She then looks around as Cidnay steps out from the back and keeps close to Holly. Holly pushes him back and she hurries away while LHS plays some interference between Cidnay and Holly. Alex Desoubrais Jr. walks out as GiGi steps forward. He talks to Holly some before Holly waves her arms. The entire Brand begins to stalk down the ramp, looking down at Xander Valentine.

Sharper: “Five members of the Brand are swarming to the ring and we still do not know who’s going to compete on their behalf.”

Knots: “Alex Jr. or Cidnay? Both might need to make up for the fact they underperformed last week against Xander. Here’s their chance to show that they’re worth saving!”

Sharper: “We all know Xander is worth two— maybe three men, but there’s five members of the Brand and only Xander and Artemis.”

Knots: “And knowing how protective Xander can be of Artemis, isn’t that another weakness the Brand can exploit.”

Everyone but LHS climbs onto the apron. Holly Adams is shouting insults to Xander before she points towards Alex Jr. Alex looks confused, but LHS pushes at his ankles. He enters the ring slowly and he keeps his eyes locked on Xander. He looks like someone who accidentally wandered into a tiger enclosure at the local zoo.

Sharper: “The head of the program has spoken. Alex Jr. is the Brand’s representative, whether or not Alex likes it.”

Knots: “Sometimes you have to step outside of your comfort zone to grow. This is one of those experiences.”

Sharper: “Maybe Alex Jr. is intimidated by Xander. Alex has been in SCW for as long as Xander. He knows what Xander is capable of.”

The bell rings. The Brand has stepped off the apron for now. Xander walks right up to Alex and grabs by the throat and tosses him against the turnbuckle. There he hammers some chops that echoes throughout the arena. Alex ducks underneath one of those strength. He turns and clubs Xander in the head with forearm. And another. He backs up and  runs forward right into a big boot. Alex scrambles to his feet and Xander throws him across the ring by the throat. Alex rolls, gets steamrolled by shoulder block that knocks him into the corner. Xander crushes him in the corner with a clothesline and leads him to the center of the ring. Vertical suplex, stalling for a long moment at the top, before slamming Alex right into the canvas.

Sharper: “Xander not holding back the punches. Big vertical suplex in the middle of the ring. The pin attempt!”

1…

2…

Sharper: “Alex Jr. gets his shoulder up. Tough sledding for him in the opening seconds of this match.”

Knots: “It’s not over yet. Alex Jr. is trying to find some footing against a Hall of Fame wrestler in Xander Valentine. Give it time.”

Xander backs up against the ropes. He waves his arms, coaxing Alex to climb to his feet. Behind him, under the directions of Holly, Cidnay climbs up on the apron. Xander swings an elbow around and connects with the jaw. Xander gets rolled up by Alex Jr during the distraction.

1…

2…

Xander explodes out of the pin. Xander scrambles to his feet, showing some anger on his face. Alex Jr. dropkicks his knee. Xander stumbles. Alex Jr. runs past him and rebounds off the ropes, chop block to the knee and knocks Xander to one. Alex Jr. backpedals and he connects with a front dropkick to Xander’s face.

Knots: “Look at that. All Alex Jr. needed was a little push and he knocked down the big man.”

Sharper: “I think all he’s managing to do is to piss Xander Valentine off. The same goes with Cidnay.”

Knots: “If Xander can’t focus on the task at hand, maybe he lost his touch. Sure, there’s distractions out there— but he has a match to wrestle and he shouldn’t lose focus. Alex Jr. hasn’t lost focus yet.”

Xander starts to climb to his feet and there’s a stomp to his side. A kick to the ribs.  A few forearms to his head but Xander stands through the abuse. Alex Jr. has a smile on his face as he goes to whip Xander into the ropes— but Xander doesn’t play along. He reverses the whip, pulls Alex Jr. right into a lariat of his own. Alex Jr. flips over. The crowd pops for that display of violence. Alex Jr. crawls to the ropes, holding his jaw in pain. He pulls himself up while Xander waits for him in the center of the ring. He seems like he has planned, but then he notices Artemis is being harassed at ringside by Holly Adams and LHS. Xander marches over to the ring and points down to them to tell them to stop. Alex Jr. finds his feet, he chop blocks Xander again. Xander falls into the ropes, Alex Jr. snatches his neck and executes a neckbreaker.

Sharper: “Another distraction and there goes Xander to the mat after a picture perfect neckbreaker by Alex Jr. The hook of the leg!”

1…

2-

Sharper: “No! Barely a two count and Xander’s pissed.”

Knots: “He’s being upstaged by Alex Jr. He came into this match, underestimating the son of a SCW legend, and now he’s paying the price.”

Sharper: “I think he’s pissed that the Brand is being a bunch of annoying gnats.”

Knots: “Give credit, where credit is due!”

Alex Jr. leaps onto Xander’s lower back with a double stomp. Xander rolls to the ropes and pulls himself up. Alex clubs Xander back with some forearms. He whips Xander across the ring, but Xander counters again. This time he lifts Alex Jr. up, carries three to four feet into the center of the ring and drives him into the mat with a herculean spinebuster.

Sharper: “Spinebuster by Xander! I think this is it! Hook of the leg!”

1…

2..

3-

Sharper: “No! Alex Jr. gets his shoulder up at the last minute. He’s holding on for his life.”

Knots: “Look at the man’s resilience. He just took one of Xander’s best shots. How many can say that?”

Seeing the match going south, Holly Adams steps up onto the apron this time. She points at GiGi and Cidnay to do the same. The referee swarms to the closest to stop them from entering the ring. LHS slides in a steel chair. Xander goes for GiGi. Alex Jr. picks up the steel chair. GiGi bails from the apron, Xander turns around and gets blasted in the face with the chair. Alex Jr. throws the chair out of the ring and leaps onto Xander for the pin, knowing this is his chance!

Sharper: “The antics of the Brand! The damn antics! And now Xander is down in the middle of the ring after the chair shot! Alex Jr. to reap. The referee turns, and sees the pin!”

1…

2…

3-

Sharper: “No! No! Xander Valentine kicks out!”

Knots: “Okay— now, he’s pissed.”

The crowd explodes when Xander Valentine sits up, fists clenched. Alex Jr. boots him a few times in the chest and face and when that doesn’t do it, he starts to back up. The Brand attempts to encourage him. Holly starts to scheme again on the outside. She points towards the discarded chair; however, someone emerges from the crowd by stepping over the guardrail and the woman picks up the steel chair.

Sharper: “Holly Adams was going to try again with the games but Trinity Valentine, the daughter of Xander Valentine, has seen enough and now left the audience to prevent the Brand from interfering in her father’s match any longer.”

Knots: “What does she think she is doing? She isn’t a wrestler. She’s a fan. Someone needs to call security!”

Alex runs forward at Xander Valentine, but Xander catches him, hoists him up for the Vahalla has Fallen!

Sharper: “Valhalla has Fallen! This is a wrap!”

1…

2…

3!

Sharper: “Xander Valentine has overcome the Brand here tonight. Defeated Alex Jr. Thanks to his daughter’s help, he was able to overcome the numbers game—”

Knots: “The night’s not over yet!”

From behind, Trinity Valentine is attacked by LHS. The chair slips out of the hand of Trinity and slides to the feet of GiGi. Xander Valentine hasn’t noticed yet, busy celebrating in the ring— but Artemis has and Artemis comes running over and she is drilled by Holly Adams. Trinity takes a chairshot on the outside as Xander Valentine turns. Xander Valentine leaves the ring quickly; meanwhile, the Brand disperses, going every which direction.

Knots: “The Brand might have had the last laugh!”

Sharper: “Xander wanted to celebrate his win; however, the Brand had other plans. They attacked both Trinity and Artemis; both down on the outside for the moment. Xander’s fuming as medical personnel are checking on them.”

Knots: “Welcome to the wild wild west of professional wrestling, Trinity! You wanted to get involved, this is what happens!”

Sharper: “They might have lost, but right now, Holly Adams has a big smile on her face. Xander’s furious! Under his watch, both the women he cares most about got hurt.”

Cameras switch between the view of Xander holding Trinity in his arms while Artemis is holding her head besides him and then Holly Adams regrouping with the Brand in the crowd with a smile on her face.

The Apocalypse logo comes up on the screen as “Sinners and Saints” by Like a Storm plays in the background. The Apocalypse logo comes up on the screen. A still of Sarah Wolf vs. Alexis Quinne follows.

Sharper: “It started at Rise to Greatness. Sarah Wolf returned and assaulted Alexis Quinne. Since then, they have gone back and forth. Tonight, they meet in the ring!”

A recap video plays showing the history between Sarah Wolf and Alexis Quinne.

Sarah Wolf vs. Alexis Quinne

The eyes all focus on the stage. The lights grow dim. Opening strum of Rage Against the Machine's “Calm Like a Bomb” plays. White house lights illuminate the ramp.

Feel the funk blast
Feel the funk blast
FEEL THE FUNK BLAST

The house lights turn blue, red, green, etc. Alexis Quinne steps out through the curtains. She is dressed in a black and silver leather jacket. The jacket has "V" plastered in the back with "VOYAGERS" on the bottom. Alexis faces the crowd, drawing cheers. Quinne starts heard down to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from San Francisco, California...This. Is. Alexis Quinne!”

She extends her arms, clenching her fist. Reaching ringside the camera does the classic rotation that it used to do for her entrances. She glares at a few fans before walking up to them. She goes to raise her fist, only to be knocked down to the floor. Cameras pan to find Sarah Wolf standing over Alexis.

Sharper: “Sarah Wolf out of nowhere, nailing Quinne with a forearm to the back of the head!”

Knots: “Five minutes before the match officially starts? How much you want to wager?”

Wolf grabs Alexis, lifting her up from the floor before whipping her into the opposite barricade, back first. Alexis connects hard, before Wolf follows up with a running clothesline, sending Alexis into the crowd. The ref slides out of the ring and runs over, as Wolf climbs onto the barricade.

Sharper: “Our referee going to get involved. Maybe he can gain some order here.”

Knots: “So, are you not going to make a wager?”

The ref can be seen telling Wolf to get in the ring, but Wolf is then seen jumping off the barricade, connecting with a double axe handle just as Alexis gets to her feet. The ref is then seen motioning for security.

Wolf gets to her feet and pulls Alexis up by her hair. Wolf headbutts Alexis then goes to whip Alexis into the side of the stands, but Alexis manages to reverse, pulling Wolf into a short arm lariat, gaining cheers from the fans.

Alexis follows up, hitting a dropkick to Wolf’s back, sending her into the side of the stands once again. Wolf staggers back and Alexis hooks her, before taking her down with a belly to back suplex. Security can be seen circling Alexis and Wolf, who are pushing themselves to their feet, as the referee gets in between them.

Sharper: “Maybe we can get both competitors into the ring so we can have a proper match before things get even more chaotic.”

Alexis glares at Wolf, who motions for her to bring it. Alexis then charges, pushing past the ref, as she and Wolf begin to exchange punches, and grabbing one another by the hair, as they stumble through the fans, over to the one of the side entrance/exit areas.

Knots: “I don’t think we’re going to get this proper match you speak of.”

Alexis is shown being whipped into a concession stand as some fans scatter, standing off to the side and pulling out their phones.

Knots: “Uh oh! We ‘bout to go viral up in here!”

Wolf grabs a napkin holder before clocking Alexis in the back of the head. Alexis stumbles then turns around and Wolf hits her in the face with napkin holder. Alexis pushes herself back with her feet as she scoots across the floor. Wolf charges and Alexis grabs a rope divider pole and nails Wolf in the throat then the face before tackling her to the ground.

Alexis begins to hammer away at Wolf, landing rights and lefts, before Wolf manages to block a right before pulling Alexis down and headbutting her. Alexis falls to the side as Wolf gets to her feet. Wolf grabs Alexis by her hair, connects with a punch to the abdomen, causing Alexis to double over. Wolf then tosses Alexis over the concession stand counter, with the employees trying to get out of the way.

Employee: “You can’t be back here!”

Wolf: “I KNOW!!!”

Wolf goes to grab Alexis, but Alexis kicks her in the abdomen then the face as Wolf staggers back. Alexis gets to her feet. Wolf shakes her head as she regroups and she charges, only for Alexis to open the door to the hot dog heater, causing Wolf to connect head first then crumble to the floor.

Wolf is shown slowly pulling herself up using the counter, only for Alexis step behind her. Alexis spins her around and tries to force a hot dog into Wolf's mouth.

Knots: "I'm not sure how to feel about this."

Sharper: “Good God Almighty!”

Knots: “Are you not entertained?!?!?!?”

Wolf bites the hot dog before spitting into Alexis' eyes. Alexis steps back, wiping her face only for Wolf to grab her from behind and sending her over the counter with a German suplex type motion. Alexis connects with the floor, as Wolf climbs onto the counter. Alexis pushes herself up and turns as Wolf dives off the counter, hitting a crossbody. Alexis rolls through, however. Both get to their feet, only for Alexis to hit a drop kick sending Wolf away from the concession stand.

Sharper: "Can somebody stop this?"

Knots: "Security and the refs are there, but I don't think they feel they get paid enough at this point. They're probably thinking strongly about their life decisions. I know I would be."

Wolf gets up only for Alexis to run and connect with a big boot, sending Wolf staggering into the merchandise section. Wolf leans over another counter, trying to gain her bearings. Alexis stomps over and goes to grab her, but Wolf hits a spinning backfist, stunning her. Wolf then grabs a Cidnay T-shirt and pulls it over Alexis' head and face, before hitting her in the back of the head with a closed fist.

Alexis struggles a bit before managing to stomp on Wolf's boot and hitting a back kick to the abdomen.

Alexis is shown throwing Wolf into a wall. She goes to grab Wolf, but Wolf elbows Alexis in the ribs, before slamming her into the wall. Security and the ref try to get in between them, but Wolf swings her fists at them, before turning to Alexis. She goes to grab Alexis, but Alexis who is on the ground, kicks Wolf, who staggers back. Alexis pushes herself up and charges, only for Wolf to use Alexis’ momentum against her, sending her into the arena entrance doors. Alexis stumbles outside, and Wolf follows.

Knots “Nothing like a peaceful stroll.”

Sharper: “There’s nothing peaceful about it. These two are trying to kill one another!”

Wolf grabs Alexis as security charges after them. Wolf lifts Alexis up, a black liquid beginning to ooze from her lips.

Knots: “Oh God! We all know what this is!”

Sharper: “Wolf likes to call this…’Exorkissed’..”

Wolf moves into the kiss, but Alexis headbutts her, then spews a green mist into Wolf’s face. Wolf staggers back, grabbing at her eyes as she rolls around on the concrete. Alexis begins to stomp toward her, green liquid running down her chin, before security catches up them, managing to create distance between Alexis and Wolf.

Sharper: “Quinne! In response! Green mist!”

Knots: “Well that’s not what Wolf had in mind!”

Sharper: “Security managing to get in between them, maybe bringing the chaos to a close for the time being.”

Wolf is shown rubbing her eyes and can be heard cursing Alexis as Alexis is shown smirking, as security continues to push her back.

Sharper: “But something tells me this is far from over.”

The scene fades out.

The scene opens up inside a house, where we see Konrad Raab, Dakon Theron, Ludvig Eriksson and Ginny Raab sitting at a table, eating a nice meal. The sounds of glasses clinking, forks being used, and people enjoying the food is heard. We see Ginny pass a bowl of potatoes around as Theron scoops some and puts them on his place. Just then, we hear the sounds of windows breaking and we see a group of men, in black, including black ski masks, burst through windows. They then points guns at the European Fiery Nation.

Voice: “Everyone down. Where’s the money and valuables!”

Ginny just slides back in her chair as Dakon gets up and pulls out a club. Ludvig pulls out a steel chair and Raab pulls out his mace. The scene goes opaque as the Under Attack logo comes up on the screen. We then hear yelling, gunshots and the sounds of blunt objects hitting things.

“SCW presents Under Attack on Sunday, November 12, 2023, only on pay per view.”

The scene cuts to show one of the masked men running from the house. We then hear the sound of a chainsaw revving. The man stops, his eyes widen. He turns as Kimberly Williams is there.

Kim: “HELLO!”

Kim swings as we hear the sounds of yelling before the scene cuts away.

Statera vs. Twisted & Sadistic vs. Light in the Darkness

Number One Contendership to the SCW World Tag Team Championship

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. “In the Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan Kicks begins to play, the LED screens flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front of a starry night sky with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re slowly shifting and dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully glide through the sky. One spotlight comes to life on the left side of the stage from the camera’s perspective, revealing Amelia Blythe standing underneath it, eyes focused on the ring and a small smile on her lips as her hands are folded in front of her, giving her the look of a proper young lady. A second spotlight comes to life on the right side of the stage, revealing La Pequeña Luz standing underneath it with the kind of grin that could light up a room all on its own as she motions with her hands for the fans to get pumped up, which they immediately proceed to do. The two slowly turn their attention to one another and begin closing the distance, their spotlights following them as they stop within arm’s reach of one another, where Amelia extends her hand and Luz takes it before they pull their bodies close, the spotlights merging into one piercing through the darkness.

Phillips:” The following contest is scheduled for onefall under lucha-libre rules, has a sixty minute time limit and is for the number one contendership of the SCW World Tag Team Championship. First, on their way to the ring, they are the team of Amelia Blythe and La Pequena Luz, the Light in the Darkness!”

When the song goes into the chorus, the two ladies begin to literally waltz their way down to the ring, fast and fluid to keep pace with the song as the spotlight follows their every move, leaving fans mesmerized by their synergy. As the chorus reaches its end and the two find themselves at the bottom of the ramp, they push away from one another as far as their arms will allow without letting go before quickly pointing to the LED screens with their free hands, where the night scene is immediately engulfed in white before transitioning to a video package of the two ladies in action, both together and individually. Slowly, the two release one another, the single spotlight splitting in two again as Amelia makes her way up the steps to walk across the apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz, meanwhile, hops up onto the apron right in front of her and grabs the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees, cupping her hands together in front of her while Amelia stands right behind her, hands folded before her once again. As Luz lifts her cupped hands upward, the arena lights slowly begin to come back on as Amelia takes her hands and pulls her to her feet, spinning her around one final time into a tight embrace and a soft kiss before the two move to their corner to prepare for battle, with both girls shedding their robes and Amelia also removing her mask.

Sharper: “This should be a unique opportunity to showcase the skill of these three teams. In the tag team turmoil, four teams secured wins in the field of eleven. The winning team, the Alloccos challenge for the Tag Titles later tonight. The other three, they meet here.”

Knots: “And Light in the Darkness may have the advantage. Lucha-libre rules.”

Sharper: “That means when a legal competitor leaves the ring, someone else from any team can enter. First one in is legal. Of course, there are also normal tags too. It’s a different form of strategy. It also means we’ll be seeing much more teamwork.”

The opening riff to “Best of Both Worlds” by Van Halen begins to play. Glory Braddock and Brittany Lohan emerge from behind the curtain simultaneously. The fans cheer while Glory goes from one end of the stage to the other, playing to the crowd and getting them into it. Lohan, meanwhile, continues her march to the ring.

Phillips: “Next, they are the team of Brittany Lohan and Glory Braddock, Twisted & Sadistic!”

“Something reached out and touched me
Now I know all I want
I want the best of both worlds
And honey I know what it's worth
If we could have the best of both worlds
We'd have Heaven right here on Earth”

Braddock springs towards the ring, catching up with Lohan in time to slide in just barely ahead of her underneath the bottom rope. Lohan enters the ring the traditional way. Brittany remains stoic in the center of the ring while Glory again plays to the crowd, going to each of the four corners and raising her arms high in the air, drawing cheers from the fans. Braddock then rejoins Lohan in the center of the ring as the music dies down.

Sharper: “Glory is one win away from what she wants – a shot at the Tag Titles. All three teams want that opportunity. They want to challenge whomever walks out the World Tag Team Champs tonight.”

Knots: “The question is who may be the one to take advantage of the opening. That opportunity to step in just at the right time, catch someone napping.”

The lights dim slightly as a male voice speaks:

“When's the last time you were afraid?”
“I haven't been afraid a day in my life.”

The music and chorus of Shinedown's “Dead Don't Die” kicks in, with white strobe lights flashing in time. Bree Lancaster runs out from the curtain, arms spread wide, hands facing up, and a smile on her face. Datura walks out after and joins her, looking around.

{The dead don't die, the heart still beats
Head held high, I haunt these streets
Life's killed me a hundred thousand times
You can try, you can try, but the dead don't die}

Phillips: “Finally, they are the team of Bree Lancaster and Datura…Statera!”

Bree makes her way down the ramp, confidence in her step as she speaks to a fan or two on the way. Datura focuses on the ring.

{Knock me down six feet deep
One more round, no reprieve
Life's killed me a hundred thousand times
You can try, you can try, but the dead don't die}

Bree sprints up the ring steps, quickly wipes her feet on the apron then steps through the ropes. She does a spin in the center of the ring, arms spread out like before, drawing cheers. Datura climbs onto the apron and wipes her boots. After stepping through the ropes, she immediately makes her way to the corner and climbs up the turnbuckles before taking a seat on the top one. Datura leans back and hangs from ropes in her own tree of woe. Unblinking, she stares across the ring to the opposite corner wearing a devious smirk. She drops down and joins Bree as the two head to their corner.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster and Datura still have yet to have a standard tag match. But they’ve performed to a high level. They just didn’t quite get it done at the turmoil and at Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “You wonder what they’re thinking with Ace Marshall now gone. Datura had a target on him. Now, it’s Dark Fantasy. Maybe Alloccos.”

Sharper: “They’re going to focus on tonight and this match. Then they’ll move on if they win.”

The crowd roars as Bree & Datura stand in one corner, Brittany and Glory stand in another and Luz and Amelia stand in the corner between them. The official, Jennifer Cassidy, calls for the bell. The bell sounds. Bree and Datura then lunge for Lohan as Luz and Amelia run at Glory. Luz and Amelia forearm Glory as Lohan is pummeled by Statera. The crowd roars some more as we then see Luz and Blythe get Glory to the corner. Datura and Bree club at her before Luz and Blythe then step back and whip Glory across and into Datura and Bree. Glory jumps up and just throws herself into Datura and Bree. Bree rolls to the floor. Datura does as well. Glory stirs as Lohan gets up and runs forward and clotheslines Blythe down. Blythe hits the mat as Luz jumps to the ropes and then jumps up and hits a flying headscissors on Glory who gets back up. Glory rolls through to the floor. Luz gets up and Lohan kicks her in the ribs and forearms her in the jaw. Blythe stirs and Lohan then runs Luz into Blythe. Blythe falls through the ropes to the floor.

Sharper: “And after a chaotic start, Lohan and Luz now the two legal competitors.”

Knots: “For now. Someone leaves the ring, then it’s all about strategy. This match will keep moving until it’s over.”

Lohan then grabs Luz and hits an inverted hip toss. Luz lands on her stomach. Lohan grabs her and elbows her in the back of the head before then whipping her into the ropes. Luz bounces off and Lohan hoists Luz over her head with a military press. The crowd roars as Lohan turns and throws her onto Blythe on the floor. The crowd ohs. Lohan then turns around as Datura rolls into the ring and runs over and grabs at the right leg of Lohan. Lohan blocks it and throws Datura off. She rolls through and to her feet. Lohan lunges at Datura and goes for a clothesline. Datura ducks under and Lohan stops and turns as Datura then shoulders her in the ribs once and then again. She backs up and Lohan swings, but Datura catches her arm and hits a hip throw. She then moves into a crossarmbreaker. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Datura to the arm. Looking to make Lohan tap early!”

Knots: “And she’s got the spot closest to the ropes. Good positioning!”

Sharper: “Lohan looking around, trying to grab at anything.”

Lohan keeps struggling as Datura pulls back and Glory runs along the apron and then grabs the top rope and slingshots in with a corkscrew splash onto Datura. Lohan pulls away and rolls out of the ring, holding her arm. Glory gets up as Datura rolls over. Glory grabs her and hooks her up with a snap suplex. She turns over into a pin.

Bree turns as Blythe steps over and hits a fireman’s carry takeover and then holds onto Bree by her arm, rolling her to her stomach and locking in a reverse chinlock.

Sharper: “Lohan using the rules to help Glory. I don’t know if she intended to follow up herself.”

Knots: “Blythe didn’t wait. She was watching. She saw what Lohan was going to do.”

Blythe pulls back on Bree’s chin. Bree winces and starts to get her hands and knees under her. She then slides back and Blythe steps forward. Bree hits a double leg takedown. Blythe hits the mat. Bree then rolls her over and goes for the Crescent Lock. The crowd roars as Blythe shoves Bree forward into the ropes with her feet boot. Bree falls into Luz who forearms her. Glory and Blythe both break it up. Bree rolls over as Glory then forearms Blythe with a shot. Blythe fires back.

Sharper: “Both coming in to save their title shot hopes. Luz landed as badly as you could.”

Knots: “Datura had plenty of a role to play in that!”

Sharper: “Braddock and Blythe trading forearm shots. Neither the legal woman.”

They trade another set of shots before Bree runs across the ring, bounces off and hits a running split dropkick. Braddock and Blythe hit the mat and roll to the floor. Bree then turns and grabs Luz and drags her up, tagging in Datura. Bree then holds Luz as Datura sweeps around Luz and then Bree hits the BOGO as Datura hits a huge release tiger suplex. She then lifts Bree up, palming her chest, and throwing her back with a variation of a one-arm slam. The crowd ohs as Datura then jumps up and goes for a guillotine choke, jumping up and double underhooking Lohan too. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Lohan not the legal woman but Datura may be looking to take out Twisted & Sadistic. Or at least half of them.”

Knots: “If Lohan taps, doesn’t matter. If she’s out, that matters!”

Lohan keeps struggling as Datura pulls back. Luz fights up to her feet as she then looks at the two and runs to the ropes and jumps to the top rope and hits a top rope moonsault onto Datura and Lohan, driving Datura into the mat chest first, and landing on Lohan’s back. The crowd ohs and cheers.

Sharper: “Luz takes both Datura and Lohan down!”

Knots: “Both in the ring! That means Datura is still legal. Focus on the wrong person!”

Sharper: “Lohan could be hurt though. Those arms in a weird position!”

Knots: “If she taps though…Is that the end?”

Sharper: “Braddock is legal. But is it Luz or Bree or Datura who is the other one? It can’t be Lohan.”

Gigi: “Not going to be in it. Changed my mind.”

Katie: “What? Oh…you…but you wanted to go for gold-“

Katie: “Gigi, you-“

Gigi: “I’m fine.”

Kimberly Williams’s Underground Open Invitational

The lights to the arena go out, as “Black Sheep” begins to build up over the speakers. The fans murmur with intrigue, until the song takes off and lights jump, flashing over who we can obviously see as Jessi Ozborne. The song begins proper as Ozborne steps up center stage, the lights perfectly capturing her.

“Hello again, friend of a friend

I knew you when

Our common goal was waiting for

The world to end”

Ozborne steps down the ramp as the music continues to blare behind her, mouthing along to all the words as she hands out high fives and “Too Sweets”. She makes it to the ring, stepping up the ring steps and to the top rope, and throwing up the “Too Sweet” as the chorus goes off.

“I’ll send you my love on a wire

Lift you up every time, everyone ooh

Pulls away, ohh, from you”

Jessi dismounts into the ring off those words, spinning around with her arms outstretched before dropping to her knees on the mat! She gestures to the fans on the mat, before quickly climbing to her feet and stepping up to the second rope, throwing up the QoC’s “Too Sweet” gesture as she does. She quickly leaves the ring, getting behind the commentators desk at ringside and putting on a headset.

Sharper: “Well this is going to be an interesting one. Kimberly Williams celebrating a birthday, getting an open invitational for the Underground. Winner faces her at a later date for the title. And she’s brought in her own commentary.”

Knots: “Oh good, someone else can carry you.”

Sharper: “You’re not going anywhere either. And this woman, Jessi Ozborne, a member of the Queens of Chaos that Kimberly referred to on Breakdown…Jessi-“

Ozborne: “Yeah, yeah, you can thank me now. Don’t worry. I’m ready to call the greatest technical wrestling on the planet. That’s right, get ready to find out how to use a steel chair in a buffalo sleeper hold!”

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play.  A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. She holds the SCW Underground Championship. She walks down to the ring, holding a clipboard in her hand. She then smiles as she stops at the end of the rampway. She then starts to motion for people to come out.

Phillips: “The following contest is Kimberly Williams’s Open Invitational for a future Underground Championship shot. The rules are as follows – everyone must bring a weapon and it is one fall to a finish. First…to ensure everyone has met the first requirement, please welcome, the Wild Card, the SCW Underground Champion, Kimberly Williams!”

Kim throws her arm up and nods before turning and motioning to Jessi Ozborne.

Ozborne: “Don’t worry. I’m watching too. I have fifty bucks on this. Someone better make me very happy by bringing a rusty hook!”

“I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe begins to play. Religious Wright steps out onto the stage wearing a black robe and carrying his Holy Book, with Selena Frost on the cover, in his right hand. Along the way down the aisle he stops by some fans. He presses his hand to the foreheads of some fans and shouts “BE HEALED IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!”

Phillips: “First, from The Sword of Joshua Full Gospel Pentecostal Temple of Joy Holiness by way of Mt. Judea, Arkansas, he is RELIGIOUS WRIGHT!”

Wright walks up to Kim. Kim checks out his bible and then looks at the picture of Selena Frost before looking at Wright as he yells out “WE BELIEVE!” Kim just motions for him to enter. Wright heads to the ring.

Sharper: “Religious Wright attacked by James Evans’s newest supporter, Pain, now has Selena Frost on his good book.”

Ozborne: “I’ve heard of her. She’s an asshole right?”

Knots: “Well, some disagree-“

Ozborne: “Total asshole, then. Kim told me about her. Judgmental bitch, right? What? Those are my words. Kim tried to be nice. Said they didn’t get along.”

Sharper: “That’s not far off.”

“Feuer Frei” by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace in the air, wearing red and black face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands. Ginny Raab walks out behind him. Raab crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “Next, from Cologne, Germany, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos. He walks past Kim who walks over to him and whispers something into his ear. He looks up as Wright is still pontificating to fans. Konrad just nods as he heads in. Kim then puts a check on her sheet.

Sharper: “Raab not even getting checked. Although Kim told him something.”

Knots: “I think Religious Wright is going to be having another long night.”

Ozborne: “Is that the German gimp who likes lighting things on fire and bludgeoning people?”

Knots: “Yes.”

Ozborne: “OKTOBERFEST!”

"Unleashed" by Epica begins to play over the PA system. The big screen flashes to life as the phrase “The Archangel” appears on the screen followed by the name "Jessica Lasiewicz.” Jessica Jones steps out onto the stage pushing a shopping cart of weapons. Two huge pyrotechnic shots go off behind her as she raises her arms high into the air.

Phillips: “Next, from Krakow, Poland but now residing in Boston, Massachusetts, “The Archangel” Jessica Lasiewicz!”

After the pyro is over she begins to make her way down towards the ring; Jessica looking determined, her eyes tense as they gaze towards the ring. She pushes the cart to Kim. Jessica smiles as Kim then looks in the cart before noticing her own WASLEY. Kim looks up at her and Jessica smiles. Kim then motions for her to enter.

Sharper: “Family even entering this. Jessica Lasiewicz returning to SCW for this.”

Knots: “Why not? Bludgeoning runs in the family!”

Ozborne: “She even has her own WASLEY!”

Sharper: “Although not the original one, as well…”

We then notice WASLEY on the stage, wearing a referee’s shirt.

Ozborne: “He better call it down the middle. I’m just saying. I’ve heard that he’s shifty because he can’t fly!”

The lights in the arena go out as the opening chords of “Unforgiven” by Metallica begins to play.  As the song picks up its pace a spotlight shines at the top of the ramp and we see “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter standing there with a sinister grin on his face.  After a few moments of soaking in the crowd reaction, which he seems to enjoy despite their booing, Sutter begins his slow walk down the ramp.

Phillips: “Next, from Raleigh, North Carolina, the Assassin, Clyde Sutter!”

The spotlight follows the sinister sociopath as he approaches Kim. Kim snaps at him. Sutter then reaches into his coat, pulling out a pipe. Kim nods and Sutter steps forward and hands the pipe to a fan. Kim turns and sees this and runs over and takes the pipe and hands it back to Sutter. Sutter nods and takes a few steps only to again give it to a fan as Kim is focused on her list.

Sharper: “Clyde Sutter brought a weapon, but it seems like he doesn’t want it.”

Knots: “He’s his own weapon!”

Ozborne: “Put the fan in. He’s got a weapon!”

Sharper: “Sutter handing that pipe to a fan!”

Knots: “Try to explain that as you leave to security. Yeah, a guy named the Assassin gave me a pipe.”

Ozborne: “That’s when you clock the security guard!”

“Hero” by Skillet plays throughout the arena. The crowd roars and gives a mixed reaction as the lights flash around the stage. A few moments pass before Simon Lyman walks out from the back, wearing a backpack and holding what appears to be a flamethrower. He smiles as he looks around. He then looks at the ring and holds the flamethrower up and blows fire forward into the air. The crowd roars. Kim applauds gleefully as Konrad looks at Lyman, smirking.

Sharper: “What in the hell?”

Knots: “How the hell do you get one of those?!”

Ozborne: “Does he know someone in the military?”

Sharper: “And officials coming out here…”

Knots: “Oh so there are boundaries!”

We see officials including Chris Oliver, Dillusion, Dean Black and Matt Hodges running out and surrounding Simon Lyman. Lyman starts to plead his case as they force him to take the flamethrower off. Some in the crowd boos as he is moved to the side.

The opening of “Blood Eagle can be heard blaring through the PA system.  The camera will pan through the curtain as the face of James Evans appears, igniting a negative reaction from the crowd, as they shower him in jeers. The camera remains on James as he breaks through the curtain. The boos intensify as James looks out at the crowd. From the back, follows Pain, Mordred, Harker, and Lues.

Sharper: “And James Evans now out here…”

Religious Wright turns to the stage.

Knots: “Who the hell is it with him?”

Ozborne: “Awww…he brought a gang. At least get colours and a hand signal come on!”

Sharper: “I don’t see weapons…”

Knots: “Maybe James is using those four as his weapon!”

The House of James slowly makes his way to the ring, as images of James winning various championships and hitting various moves appear on the screen. They reach the ring, surrounding it, before James walks over to Kim. Kim points to them. Kim looks at them before she smirks.

Kim: “So you’re in…but they’re your weapons?”

James nods.

Kim: “I hope you get your ass kicked!”

Kim smiles as James looks at the Underground Championship.

Phillips: “And finally, from New York City, New York…James Evans!”

We then see Pain, Mordred, Harker and Lues rush the ring.

Ozborne: “Looks like we’re gonna get a good old fashioned donnybrook. That’s what they call in your parts, Sharper. Right?”

Sharper: “It’s going to be brawl and here we go!”

Kim looks on as Pain, Mordred, Harker and Lues enter the ring. Lues heads after Lasiewicz as Harker goes for Wright. Pain goes for Raab and Sutter nails Mordred with a right hand. Evans just watches as Simon Lyman keeps struggling for a moment. Kim watches too as she then heads over to the shopping cart of plunder that Jessica brought. Sutter and Mordred trade blows as Pain tackles Raab down and nails him with hard right hands. Harker nails Wright with a hard right and then another and another before clotheslining him to the floor. Kim throws a chair into the ring and then a kendo stick before reaching around and grabbing a trash can lid. She throws them into the ring.

Sharper: “While this brawl starts, Kim is trying to get the underground portion on track.”

Ozbourne: “Full service this is. She’s even handing them weapons!”

Sutter knees Mordred a couple of times and then throws him down. Raab shoves Pain off as Lues has her arm wrenched by Jessica Lasiewicz who sends her chest first into the corner. Jessica turns and Sutter clotheslines her down. He goes for the pin.

Lasiewicz kicks out. She rolls over as Pain gets up and Raab grabs the trash can lid and turns and nails Pain in the shoulder with it. Pain drops to the mat. He rolls over and Raab nails him in the head with the trash can lid. The crowd ohs. Raab turns as Harker then hits a running boot to the face. Raab hits the mat. Harker turns and grabs the steel chair. Kim meanwhile starts to talk to Jessica’s WASLEY. Harker lifts the chair up and slams it into the back of Raab. Raab rolls over in pain. Harker turns and lifts it up again, but Sutter kicks him in the ribs. Sutter then nails him with a hard right. Sutter grabs Harker and whips him into the corner. Sutter runs after and nails him with a running clothesline. Harker drops to the mat. The crowd ohs. Sutter turns around and Lasiewicz runs out and jumps up and hits a frankensteiner on Sutter. Sutter rolls through and to the ropes. Wright then staggers around and runs over and nails Sutter in the head with his Good book. The crowd ohs as Sutter falls back.

Sharper: “And Wright with that bible…it has to be loaded…Sutter going down.”

Knots: “At this point, this is just chaos and Simon Lyman hasn’t even made it to the ring.”

Sharper: “He’s coming now.”

Ozborne: “Whoa! I didn’t know it was that kind of pay per view!”

Knots: “I like you!”

Lyman heads down to the ring and moves past Evans and heads to the ring. Evans just smiles as Kim glances at Evans. Evans turns to her and glares before Kim turns and walks up to him. Lyman rolls into the ring and nails Lasiewicz with a kick to the ribs and then a hard right and another. He spins her around and throws her out of the ring. Wright rolls into the ring and runs over to Lyman, holding the Good Book over his head.

Wright: “WE BELIEVE! SIMON! WE BELIEVE!”

Lyman just looks at him, eyebrow cocked. We then see Pain roll back in, holding a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat. Wright yelps as Pain runs over and swings at Wright. Wright drops down to the mat and Pain follows. Lyman turns and Lues rakes his eyes. Lyman staggers back. Lues jumps up onto him, nailing him with a couple of hard right hands as he falls back into the corner. Sutter rolls to the floor as Raab gets up and Mordred grabs him and clubs him in the back. He clubs him again. Harker runs into the ropes as Mordred pulls Raab up and Harker runs at him. Raab ducks and Harker nails Mordred with a flying clothesline. Mordred falls back and into the ropes and down to the floor. James and Kim continue to lock eyes, saying nothing, before Kim turns and heads over as Raab then grabs the steel chair and nails Harker with it. Harker goes down. Pain grabs Wright and pulls him back as Sutter turns and nails Pain. Mordred then clubs Sutter. Sutter turns and nails him as Raab exits to the apron. He looks at them and climbs up to the top rope. The crowd roars. Raab glances back and hits a moonsault onto all four men on the floor right by Kim. Kim applauds.

Sharper: “Konrad Raab! Off the top! Moonsault takes down two of Evans’s goon squad, Sutter, and Wright!”

Knots: “Raab doesn’t care who he hurts, including himself.”

Ozborne: “Helps in this environment!”

Knots: “Kim loves what he did.”

Raab rolls over as Evans looks on, looking down. Lyman shoves Lues off. Lues rolls through and then runs back at Lyman who catches her onto his shoulders. He then turns and spins and hits a Samoan drop into the steel chair in the ring. Lyman goes for the pin.

Lasiewicz breaks it up. Raab slowly gets up and crawls over to the shopping cart. He then lifts it up. The crowd roars as he turns and throws it at Mordred and Sutter. They go down. The crowd ohs. Lasiewicz turns as Lyman stirs and stops him a few times. Lasiewicz exits to the floor. Harker stirs as does Lues.

Sharper: “Chaos all over here. Raab on the floor and Pain and him fighting! Wright still there.”

Pain nails Raab with a hard right. Raab knees him. They start to fight up the rampway.

Knots: “And they’re going on their own adventure! And Wright is following!”

Sharper: “Evans’s crew seems to be splitting up here!”

Sutter and Mordred stir as Lasiewicz pulls out a barbed wire wrapped board. The crowd erupts as Lasiewicz smiles. Kim smiles too.

Ozborne: “Runs in the family!”

Sharper: “And things are going up a notch!”

Lyman stirs as Lues then dives over and starts to bite Lyman in the face. Lyman kicks at the mat. Harker rolls to the floor. He looks under the ring as Lasiewicz slides the barbed wire board into the ring. Lues pulls off as Lyman rolls over. He turns and Lyman winces, blood coming from his forehead. Lues then turns and stomps Lasiewicz in the face once and then again and again. Harker then pulls out as bag. The crowd roars. Pain and Raab continue to fight alongside the rampway. Wright follows, more cheering, less fighting, as Sutter and Mordred get up. Sutter grabs the cart and throws it away before turning and Mordred kicks him in the ribs. He nails him with another shot. Sutter staggers over and then turns and blocks a shot from Mordred. Mordred takes another one and then swings, but Sutter ducks and catches Mordred before the fan who Sutter gave the pipe too holds it up. Sutter nods and the fan cracks Mordred in the face with it. Mordred goes down as Sutter smirks. Sutter then turns and storms after Raab, Wright and Pain. In the ring, Lues grabs Lasiewicz as Harker rolls in. Evans shakes his head.

Sharper: “Evans still just watching. All as his crew contributes to it.”

Knots: “And they’re going to be. They’ve got some sick stuff in the ring.”

Ozborne: “Come on! Drop em in it. Carve em up!”

Harker enters as Lues pulls Lasiewicz up, but Lasiewicz fights off, nailing her with a couple of shots. We cut backstage briefly to see Pain grabbing Raab and running him into the wall. Raab spins around and staggers over. He gets up as Wright jogs past and looks around. Sutter heads into the scene as Pain grabs a production light and lifts it up and throws it at Raab. Raab winces and Pain grabs the light stand and starts to choke Raab with it. Raab struggles a moment as Sutter runs in and nails Pain. Pain staggers back.

LAsiewicz jumps off the ropes and jumps onto the shoulders of Harker. She grabs Lues too and takes both down with a headscissors/headlock takedown move. She gets up as Lyman stirs. Lasiewicz then looks at Lues as she gets up, as does Harker. Lyman then nails Harker with a hard right. Lasiewicz chops Lues. We then see a skinny man, wearing a paperbag over his head, wearing a Holly Adams Brand t-shirt with an iPad on his arm.

BACKSTAGE:

Pain gets up and Sutter grabs him and Pain and him trade blows as Wright then runs over and stomps at Raab. The crowd roars. Sutter grabs Pain and lifts him up and throws him onto a storage crate, back first. Pain hits hard and rolls through. Sutter then turns around before we see Mordred running at Sutter and nailing him with a clothesline. Mordred then drops down, choking Sutter. Wright stomps away.

Sharper: “Mordred arriving backstage. Four of them…sorry, five of them backstage.”

Ozborne: “Good to know you can count!”

Sharper: “And look…who the hell is this?”

Knots: “They’re wearing a Holly Adams Brand t-shirt…the build looks familiar. Is that…look at the hair…that’s GiGi’s stand in!”

Ozborne: “He needs a weapon. And not just his crippling depression to be with the Brand!”

Knots: “Hey! You know of the Brand!”

Ozborne: “I saw their infomercial late at night. I bought the half pan/half footsoaker. I didn’t call the Brand for help!”

Kim stops the man and the man looks around before then holding up his iPad. Kim motions and lets him in. The man enters as Lasiewicz and Lyman whip Harker and Lues into the ropes. They bounce off and hit dropkicks on the two individuals aligned with Evans. Lyman and Lasiewicz get up as the man in the paper bag enters and nails Lyman with the iPad in the back before turning and hitting and ugly flying clothesline, driving the iPad into Lasiewicz. The crowd ohs. The man winces and shakes out his arm.

Wright gets a few more shots in before Raab reaches up and shoves him back. Wright staggers back. Sutter keeps struggling with Mordred before Wright sees them and runs over and jumps onto the back of Mordred. H then starts to lock in a sleeper from behind.

Wright: “DIE HEATHEN! I BELIEVE!”

Mordred gets up in pain and staggers back. Wright keeps the sleeper on and Mordred falls to a knee. Sutter stirs, coughing. He then starts to get up and Pain then gets up, grabbing a steel chair and runs over and throws it right at the head of Wright. Wright falls back and down to the floor. The crowd ohs. Pain then pulls Mordred up. Sutter starts to get up as Raab gets up and we see Dakon Theron and Ludvig Karlsson come into the scene. Raab smirks.

Sharper: “And look backstage! Raab…maybe waiting for this.”

Knots: “Or maybe they saw James Evans and his group and said, to hell with this!”

Ozborne: “Come on! Start snapping or start clapping!”

Sharper: “Excuse me?”

Ozborne: “It was a West Side Story reference. They snap their figures and what not. Big dance number. Come on! Be cultured! And clapping is to eff them up. Come on!”

In the ring, the fake GiGi then looks around and sees the plunder. He smiles and grabs the bag that Harker had brought into the ring. He opens it and then dumps the contents into the ring, revealing thumb tacks. The crowd roars. The man looks around and then grabs Lues. Lues however suddenly nails him with a shot to the ribs. The man falls over. Lyman and Lasiewicz stir as the man then rolls to the apron. Lues helps up Harker and they nod as Lasiewicz starts to get up and Harker grabs her by the throat. He then hoists her up and hits a violent chokeslam. Lasiewicz rolls over in pain. Lues then kicks Lyman between the legs. Lyman drops down. Lues smiles as she looks around and then turns as Harker nails the fake GiGi with a hard right. He falls to the floor. Harker turns back and walks over to Lyman. He starts to pull him up as Lyman and then whips him into the ropes. Lyman bounces off and Harker lifts him up for a launching flapjack, but Lyman kicks his feet and lands on them. Harker then kicks him in the ribs. Lues jumps onto his back. Lyman looks around as Lasiewicz then grabs the barbed wire wrapped bat and nails Harker in the back with it. Harker staggers forward.

Raab looks at Karlsson and Theron. Theron and Karlsson both reveal chains in their hands. They wrap their fists. Pain and Mordred step up as Sutter does too. The six individuals then lunge and all start to throw right hands. Raab and Sutter fight as Theron gets a couple of body shots on Pain and Karlsson gets a few shots in on Mordred before Mordred and him turn and throw each other into the wall. Theron knees Pain and turns and goes to throw him hard into a wall. Pain however jumps up and backflips off. He turns and runs and throws himself at Theron. Sutter and Raab trade blows and Raab grabs Sutter and runs him into the wall. Sutter then headbutts Raab. Raab hits a European uppercut as Sutter forearms him. They trade a few more blows before we see Lucas Knight step into the room, holding his cricket bat. He then nails Mordred in the back. He turns and cracks Eriksson in the ribs. He then nails Pain with a shot before Wright jumps up and grabs Pain and throws him into the wall. Pain falls back. Wright laugh at him as Knight then turns and nails Raab with a shot. Raab falls into Sutter and the two fall down to the ground. Knight then looks around before throwing his cricket bat down.

Sharper: “Lucas Knight assaulting both the European Fiery Nation and James Evans and his crew!”

Knots: “Wright’s the only one still up!”

Sharper: “And look! In the ring, Lyman and Lasiewicz…trying to fight for their lives as the brutality brought on by these people Evans has brought in!”

Ozborne: “And there’s a lot of sharp things in the ring!”

Sharper: “Barbed wire bat to the back of Harker.”

Lyman then looks around before Lasiewicz grabs Harker from behind and manages to hit the Pure Deformation into the barbed wire board. The crowd ohs as Lasiewicz grimaces in pain. Lyman then throws himself back and drives Lues into the thumbtacks. Lyman rolls over, rolling into them too. The man in the paper bag then springboards to the top rope and flips forward, hitting a flipping senton onto Harker and Lasiewicz in the barbed wire. He rolls over in pain as James Evans then shoves Kim down and rolls into the ring. Kim looks up as the fake GiGi gets up only to see Evans. A cut has opened up on the fake GiGi’s arm and Evans then grabs him and jumps up and immediately locks in a kimura. The crowd ohs as the man yells in pain and immediately starts to tap out.

Wright looks around as he looks at Knight. Knight just taps him on the head and walks back. Wright looks around before then crawling over to Pain for the pin. He looks around. He then looks back, annoyed, realizing there is no referee. Pain then suddenly hits a headbutt and Wright falls back as Pain rolls over. Pain and Mordred start to fight up to their feet as Sutter pushes Raab off.

The bell sounds as we cut to the ring.

Ozborne: “What the hell was that?”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via submission, James Evans!”

The crowd boos as Kim Williams looks up at James. Simon looks up and over at James, stunned. James exits the ring and drops down to the floor.

Sharper: “James Evans just watching until an opening and immediately, locked in a Kimura.”

Knots: “Between his crew who aren’t wrestlers. They’re fighters. To the fake GiGi! Holly Adams…you need to work on him!”

Sharper: “And he tapped almost immediately. He’s still in pain.”

Ozborne: “Why did he have to submit the little bitch!”

Evans walks over to Kim. Evans then looks at the SCW Underground Championship. He walks past and heads to the back. Backstage, we see officials trying to get between the various fighting parties as the scene cuts away.

We hear majestic music playing we see Deanna Frost and Selena Frost riding horses, Deanna’s brown, while Selena’s is white. They move forward before Deanna stops as Selena pulls out a old-timey map.

Selena: “Hmmm…should be…right around-“

Deanna: “That it?”

The camera turns to show a very obvious shot of the Gateway Arch with St. Louis and the surrounding metropolis around it. We hear the sound of a ball being hit in Busch Gardens before showing a shot of people walking downtown, and a shot of the Missouri Botanical Gardens. We then cut to see Selena and Deanna now coming down the street on their horses before Selena steps off and looks up. The camera turns to show the Dome at America’s Center.

Selena: “So this is where we need to go?”

Deanna: “Looks like it.”

Selena: “Let’s just hope everything is in one piece.”

Deanna: “If not, you’ve got another main event in you, right?”

Selena and Deanna head over to the building before we cut to shots of Selena Frost standing as World Champion at Rise to Greatness, before showing shots of Syren coming to the ring, Gavin Taylor hitting a Gavin Taylor Lariat, Kandis posing with Tommy Valentine, and Adam Allocco posing in the ring. The Rise to Greatness XXI logo comes up on the screen.

Rise to Greatness XXI

July 28, 2024

St. Louis, Missouri

The scene slowly fades to black.

The Alloccos vs. Dark Fantasy

SCW World Tag Team Championship

Rise!!!!

Look deep into his eyes!

Rise!!!!

Look deep into his eyes, that's where the fire lies!

The spotlights shine forth from the stage, bathing the entire arena in blinding white lights corresponding with a verse of “Eyes Like Fire” by Collision of Innocence. A figure stands in front of the curtains; his arms are extended horizontally, and his legs are spread. His back is turned to the audience. His presence incites a chorus of cheers from the crowd. As the bright lights start to dim, you can tell the man is wearing pure white tights. A blood-red sleeveless coat stretched from his defined torso down to his equally bright white boots. Pyros explode around the entranceway, timed perfectly for Alistaire Allocco to kick out his leg to turn to face the crowd as the chorus of his theme kicks in. Adam Allocco walks out with him, holding his hands in a triangle pose.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a sixty minute time limit and is for the SCW World Tag Team Championship! First, the challengers, hailing from Rochester, New York, they are the team of Alistaire and Adam Allocco!”

The Alloccos walk down to the ring. Adam climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring. He then steps up, holding his hands in a triangle pose before turning and pointing to Alistaire who wipes his feet and enters the ring. He steps forward as he then runs the ropes. He stops and stretches out using the ropes.

Sharper: “In a stunning turn of events, the Alloccos coming together. In Alistaire Allocco’s first match back since he was taken out by his own father who hit him while driving drunk…this story where Alistaire is trying to pull Adam from that brink, and now, in his second match back, could win the tag team championship.”

Knots: “Yeah, but this went from a match against someone they know well in Ace Marshall to now facing, and challenging, arguably the greatest team in SCW history! Think about that. That’s a huge change! And Adam and Alistaire…that relationship is still being developed.”

Sharper: “Forcing his father to show change. To bring God into his life. To continue to improve himself.”

The camera cuts to the crowd where we see a group of red-shirted security walking in through one of the ground-level entrances. They line up in front of the fans for a moment and seem to be holding them back. There’s then a loud click as the lights around the building flick off and darkness consumes the arena, with nothing but a few flashes from cameras in the crowd lighting the arena. Without warning we see black and white footage spring to life on the screen of Winston Churchill giving one of his most famous speeches, all the while the chilling sound of air raid sirens and war can be heard in the background...

"We shall fight on the beaches. We shall fight on the landing grounds. We shall fight in the fields, and in the streets. We shall fight in the hills. We shall NEVER surrender!"

The video suddenly burns away to reveal a second hidden image of the devious ex-president George H. W. Bush giving a speech of his own...

"When we are successful, and we will be, we'll have a real chance at this new world order..."

A record scratch interrupts the normal Infamous introduction, only for the sound of Cute Is What We Aim For’s hit to begin around the arena.

“I’ve got the gift of one-liners,
And you’ve got the curse of curves”

The opening to “Misery Business” by Paramore suddenly hits the PA system as the spotlights on the stage flash between pink and white. We cut to the back where we see Ravyn Taylor walking through the corridors before heading over to the curtain on the floor to the right of the stage. She walks out and looks around the arena as we see Syren step out from the back, Lexy Chapel with her. Chapel keeps a hand out, stopping Syren from even moving towards Ravyn while also keeping an eye on Ravyn. Ravyn smirks as she holds both SCW World Tag Team Championship belts.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
Dark Fantasy

Phillips: “Their opponents, accompanied by Lexy Chapel, they are the team of the SCW Adrenaline Champion, Syren, and the SCW World Tag Team Champion, Ravyn Taylor. They are the team of Dark Fantasy!”

Syren then starts to head to the ring as Lexy turns and heads after her. Ravyn walks over to the rampway and steps onto it, ending up standing next to Syren. Syren focuses on the ring as Ravyn smirks. Lexy steps past Ravyn pointing at Ravyn’s eyes and then at her own, before following Syren. Syren reaches the ring and climbs up the steps and into the ring. Ravyn then follows as Lexy Chapel walks along the floor. Both women remove their ring jackets and toss them to the corner. Syren climbs up on to the ropes, with one foot on the bottom and one on the middle ropes, holding up her Adrenaline Championship. Ravyn stands alongside her, holding up both of the World Tag Team Championship titles. Ravyn then goes to finish the old Dark Fantasy entrance, locking her hand with Syren. Syren turns to her as Ravyn smirks and hands off the titles to the official. Lexy Chapel motions for Syren to come at her. Ravyn steps back as Lexy takes the SCW Adrenaline Championship. The official, Jennifer Cassidy, raises the titles over her head. She hands them off as the SCW World Tag Team Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “So many layers to this on the champions side. Syren and Ravyn Taylor teaming like this for the first time in years. They’ve been operating separately even though Ravyn clearly wants to try and pull Syren back. Lexy Chapel hates Ravyn Taylor.”

Knots: “And add that Syren…if she loses, even if Ravyn is pinned, her ten match streak resets. She needs to win ten matches in a row to be back in World Title contention.”

Sharper: “Along with also needing to get back on the same page. They are the most decorated team in SCW history. The longest reigning tag team champions. But, it’s a very different circumstance here.”

Cassidy hands off the title to Phillips. She steps back as Ravyn and Syren talk. Ravyn exits the ring and motions to her. Adam and Alistaire talk before Adam steps forward as Alistaire exits. The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Adam and Syren circle the ring. Adam then lunges as Syren drops down and around Adam and moves into a side headlock. She holds on as Adam reaches around and Syren hits a headlock takedown.

1!

Adam rolls his shoulder up and then grabs at the head and body of Syren. He reaches around and then drops down and snaps her off, by rolling quickly. Syren rolls through and moves to her feet. Adam gets up and Syren locks in another side headlock. Adam reaches around and pulls her to the ropes and goes to fire her off. Syren holds on though. Adam grits hist teeth as Ravyn smiles as Adam looks around and then hoists Syren up. Syren backflips through. Adam turns and swings, but Syren hits an arm drag. Adam gets up and turns and Syren hits another arm drag. She holds on.

Sharper: “Syren right now with a flawless start. And controlling Adam here.”

Knots: “Adam showing some frustration already. Adam Allocco never has liked Syren. So this is going to be interesting.”

Syren continues to hold on and Adam starts to get up. Adam then pushes Syren into the ropes and fires her off. Syren bounces off and Adam shoulders her down on the rebound. Adam runs into the ropes. Syren rolls toward Adam. Adam hops over and bounces off the other side. Syren gets up and leapfrogs over Adam. Adam bounces off the other side and Syren goes for another arm drag. Adam rolls through. He gets up and Syren goes for a dropkick, but Adam catches her and Syren hits the mat and Adam rolls through into a jackknife pin.

2!

Syren kicks out. Adam rolls through and tags in Alistaire. Alistaire enters as Syren gets up and turns only for Alistaire to wrench her arm and then push him into Adam who hits a European uppercut and Alistaire turns and hits a snapmare takedown and then locks in a reverse chinlock. Syren reaches out and turns and Syren manages to shift herself into a side headlock position. Alistiare holds on.

Sharper: “Some good chemistry from father and son. Just knowing where the other is.”

Knots: “And all to turn it around. Syren didn’t have any way to put a defense, thrown around there.”

Syren slowly gets her knees under her as Alistaire then lets go and spins through and grabs her arm and wrenches it. He then flips her forward to the mat and then steps over, keeping Syren offguard before then grabbing her head and locking in a gator roll! Syren kicks at the mat as she struggles. Alistaire pulls up as Cassidy checks on Syren. Syren keeps struggling and manages to roll over. She then knees Alistaire in the head once and then again, causing him to let go. Syren rolls over and to the ropes and looks over at Alistaire as he slowly gets up. The crowd applauds a bit as Syren looks at Ravyn who just smiles and extends her arm. Syren reluctantly tags in. Lexy shakes her head as Ravyn steps into the ring. She then looks at Alistaire. Alistaire motions for her to come at her.

Sharper: “Syren tags in Ravyn.”

Knots: “And the whole composure of this match changed.”

Sharper: “You can see Lexy Chapel shaking her head. That was not an emphatic tag either. Syren tagging in due more to need.”

Ravyn smiles at Alistaire and then runs at him. She ducks a clothesline and bounces off the other side before Alistaire catches her and lifts her up over his head, but Ravyn spins through to her feet. She then quickly pulls him down with a school boy.

2!

Alistaire kicks out. Both get up and Ravyn rakes his eyes before pushing him back by the throat into the corner. Ravyn kicks him in the ribs once and then again and again. The official calls for the break.

4!

Ravyn backs up and walks around the ring. Ravyn then turns and Alistaire winces as Ravyn chops him. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. She then goes for a third one, but Alistaire grabs her arm and spins out and hits a fireman’s carry with some intensity to it. Ravyn hits the mat and gets up and Alistaire grabs her and spins her into the Allocco corner. Ravyn goes to step out, but Alistaire tags in Adam as Adam pulls her back and throws her head into the turnbuckle. Adam enters and kicks her in the ribs. She then kicks her again and again and again. Lexy even gets into it on the other side as Syren looks on, a bit more concerned.

2!

3!

4!

Adam backs up and looks around. Adam then walks over to Ravyn and grabs her by the legs.

Knots: “Adam Allocco getting many years of rage out on Ravyn right there!”

Sharper: “Again, little love towards Dark Fantasy for at least Adam Allocco. I’m sure Alistaire never cared for Dark Fantasy. I’m not sure about Syren today.”

Knots: “And Adam just muscling Ravyn up.”

Sharper: “Maybe going for that elevated crab.”

He hoists Ravyn up, but Ravyn uses this to crawl through the legs of Adam, causing Adam to lose his grip. Adam steps forward and turns around and grabs Ravyn in a waistlock. Ravyn drops down to her backside and then falls back before taking over Adam over with a pin.

1!

2!

Adam kicks out. Both get up and Ravyn hits a dropkick. Adam stumbles to the ropes. He gets up and Ravyn runs after him. She slides to the floor. Adam turns and Ravyn goes for a hard right, but Adam blocks it and then grabs her arm. She pulls her up onto the apron before Syren tags herself in and Adam turns as Syren slingshots into the ring and hits the Golden Blonde. Adam rolls over, holding his ribs in pain. Syren crawls over for the pin as Ravyn smirks.

1!

2!

Adam kicks out.

Sharper: “Ravyn maybe setting that up a bit. Syren in and stopping Ravyn from taking the worst of it and almost got a three count.”

Knots: “There’s that chemistry there. There’s a reason they were the best, even if they’ve not teamed actively for a while and even if they may disagree on tactics.”

Adam rolls over and gets up and Syren follows up with a forearm shot. She nails him again and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Adam steps forward and lifts her up, but Syren counters with a dropkick. Adam falls back. He gets up and Syren hits a kick to the ribs before then stepping back and hitting a swinging neckbreaker. She goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Adam kicks out again. He rolls over and Syren grabs him and looks at Ravyn and then drags him over to Ravyn. Syren tags her in.

Ravyn: “You know what to do.”

Syren moves into a Russian leg sweep position as Ravyn enters and clothesline Adam down. Syren rolls through as Ravyn goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Adam gets his shoulder up. Alistaire looks on. Ravyn turns and gets up and grabs the arm of Adam and turns him to his stomach. Ravyn hits an elbow drop. Syren exits the ring. Ravyn then gets up and hits a second elbow drop and grinds her elbow into the back of Adam’s skull. He struggles as he then starts to get up. Ravyn turns and grabs his head and rolls through to regain control before starting to get up. She then hits a running bulldog. Ravyn then walks over to Alistaire and looks at him before running at Adam and hitting a dropkick to his side. She goes for another pin.

1!

2!

Adam gets his shoulder up. Ravyn grabs him and drags him up and runs him into the corner. Ravyn then chops him. The crowd woos. She grabs him by the head and goes for the forehead rake against the top rope, but Adam blocks it and nails her with a shot to the ribs. He hits another. Ravyn knees him in the ribs and then turns and runs toward the ropes, but Adam reaches out and pulls her down by the hair. The crowd ohs. Adam smirks as Alistaire looks at him disappointed. He nods as Ravyn gets up.

Sharper: “And Adam going to his old tricks.”

Knots: “Not as much to grab on him!”

Sharper: “Alistaire not exactly pleased. Trying to get him to change his ways.”

Knots: “There will be slip ups. A few here and there!”

Adam then grabs her and hoists her up and hits a spinning back suplex. Adam turns and walks over to Alistaire and tags him in. Adam turns back to Ravyn and pulls her up. Alistaire enters as Adam whips Ravyn into the ropes. She bounces off and Adam scoops her up as if going for a back suplex before placing her on Alistaire’s shoulder. Adam then runs into the ropes and bounces off and hits a running dropkick to the head of Ravyn as Alistaire drives her down with a sitout dominator. The crowd ohs. Alistaire rolls her over for the pin.

1!

2!

Syren breaks up the pin. She then rolls through. Lexy looks on with a sigh of relief.

Sharper: “My goodness. What a tandem move from the challengers. Ravyn driven into the mat.”

Knots: “Immediately Syren knew Ravyn was in trouble. Didn’t even hesitate to break it up. Now is that because Dark Fantasy is back clicking or is it because Syren cares about the streak.”

Sharper: “Lexy definitely cared about the streak!”

Syren walks around the ring as Alistaire turns and grabs Ravyn and pulls her up and hits a gutwrench suplex. He then turns and moves her to a seated position. Alistaire then bends over and hoists her up as the crowd roars and hits a bridging German suplex.

1!

2!

Ravyn rolls her shoulder up just in time. Syren hops onto the apron and extends her arm. Adam warns Alistaire. Alistaire nods as he grabs Ravyn and pulls her away from the ropes. He then whips her into them. Ravyn bounces and Alistaire catches her before hitting an overhead belly to belly suplex. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Those suplexes! Popping the hips and Ravyn Taylor in trouble. Thrown all over that ring.”

Knots: “And there aren’t too many people in the back who are sad about it. Syren and Lexy maybe only because a loss resets Syren’s hopes.”

Sharper: “That’s more than just disappointment. That’s concern on the face of Syren.”

Syren looks on at Ravyn, pacing a bit. Alistaire drags Ravyn back up again and hoists her onto his shoulders. He then looks around before stepping forward, only for Ravyn to rake the eyes. The crowd boos. Ravyn slides down and hits a chopblock. Alistaire rolls over, holding his leg in pain. Adam looks on concerned. Ravyn looks up and gets up and grabs the leg and then hits a leg DDT into the mat for good measure. Alistaire rolls over in pain. Ravyn then looks around and turns and grabs the legs of Alistaire and drags him over to the corner. The crowd roars. She drops down to the floor, pulling Alistaire under the ropes. The crowd roars some more and Alistaire struggles before Ravyn grabs the left leg and slams it into the ringpost. The crowd ohs as Alistaire grimaces in pain.

Sharper: “Ravyn going for the leg and we know Alistaire Allocco had a series of notable surgeries years ago.”

Knots: “He’s been cleared, but I’m thinking driving your left leg into a ringpost is not something doctors want to see!”

Alistaire keeps fighting as Ravyn then folds over his legs, going for a ring post figure four. She hooks it as the crowd roars.

1!

2!

Adam immediately runs over and hits a running stomp to the face of Ravyn. He grabs her and turns and spins her around and into the barricade. The crowd ohs. Ravyn lands hard and Adam turns as Syren runs along the apron and jumps onto Adam, driving him down with the Syren’s Call. The crowd ohs. Syren rolls over. (1)

Sharper: “Adam Allocco immediately saving his son the moment Ravyn went for that figure four!”

Knots: “And then Syren stepping up and doing the same to help Ravyn.”

Syren winces and slowly gets up. Ravyn stirs too as Alistaire slides back into the ring. (2) Ravyn then turns and grabs Adam and says something to Syren.(3) Syren hesitates at first before Ravyn and Syren lift Adam up and hang his legs on the ring apron. Syren climbs up and Ravyn grabs Adam’s head.(4) They then hit the Twisted Desire on the floor. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Twisted Desire! Adam driven into the mats!”

Knots: “This may make it one on two! Syren didn’t want to go with it, but did anyways!”

Sharper: “And Ravyn now moving to the ring!”

Ravyn gets up. (5) She says something to Syren who winces. Ravyn rolls into the ring and heads over to Alistaire who starts to get up and Alistaire suddenly hits her in the ribs and hits a variation of the Back from Rehab! The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “Alistaire just used his father’s move! The Back from Rehab!”

Knots: “I don’t know if he got it all, but it stopped Ravyn!”

Ravyn rolls over and holds he jaw before reaching for the ropes. Syren starts to get up and moves to the ropes. She climbs onto the apron. Lexy frantically points at Ravyn as Syren reaches out, grabbing the tag rope. Adam rolls over and starts to stir as Alistaire Allocco slowly gets up to his feet. Ravyn then gets up and turns and lunges at Ravyn.

Sharper: “Ravyn up first. Alistaire didn’t get all of it. The leg bothering him.”

Knots: “And she’s going for another big shot-“

Sharper: “And caught!”

Alistaire catches Ravyn and hits an exploder suplex. He ends up on top of her.

1!

2!

Syren breaks it up. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Syren watching like a hawk-“

Knots: “Lexy yelling too. Actually wanting to help prevent Ravyn from losing.”

Syren rolls through and gets up and moves back to the corner. Ravyn rolls over and looks over. She then looks down before then rolling away from Syren. Ravyn starts to stir as Adam crawls to the corner. Alistaire gets up and limps, clearly in pain. He then smacks the top rope in a bit of anger.

Sharper: “Alistaire still in pain. You wonder if something was tweaked.”

Knots: “He’s showing it. That’s interesting. With Ravyn in there…”

Alistaire: “Come on dad!”

Adam looks up and crawls over to his corner. Alistaire turns and grabs Ravyn and clubs her in the back. He then pulls her back and goes for a back suplex. He hits it. Ravyn rolls over. Alistaire turns and grabs Ravyn and pulls her up. Ravyn glances over at Syren again as Alistaire pulls her up and goes for a German suplex. Ravyn elbows out of it. She staggers forward and then runs at Alistaire and jumps up for an Evolutionary Synthesis. Alistaire however catches her. Adam climbs up onto the apron. Alistaire then throws Ravyn down. Alistaire staggers over and tags in Adam. Adam looks at Alistaire. Alistaire grimaces, kicking out his leg, trying to get blood flow. Adam nods and enters the ring and runs over and clotheslines Ravyn down. He then grits his teeth, quickly showing still the impact from Twisted Desire on the floor. He then turns and runs over and nails Syren with a shot too. She falls to the floor. Ravyn gets up and Adam nails her with a series of hard right hands before whipping her into the ropes. Ravyn bounces off and Adam catches her for an exploder. Ravyn however elbows out and falls over. Syren climbs back up and Ravyn reaches out and tags her. Adam turns back to Ravyn, missing the tag.

Sharper: “Ravyn tagged in Syren. Syren wasn’t even back up.”

Knots: “She’s been looking over at her each time. She’s trying to convince her of something.”

Sharper: “Alistaire still down though. Still checking his knee on the apron.”

Adam then heads over and grabs Ravyn and pulls her out from the ropes. He then hooks her up and hits an exploder suplex. He goes for the pin as Syren springboards to the top rope and hits the Blondeton Bomb to Adam’s back. Ravyn intentionally wraps her arms around Adam’s head to keep her onto him. The crowd ohs. Syren rolls through as Ravyn pushes Adam off with some attitude. Adam rolls over to his back. Ravyn rolls over to her knees, looking at Alistaire as Syren hooks the leg.

1!

2!

3!

Alistaire remains on the apron, still in pain. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, and STILL SCW World Tag Team Champions…Dark Fantasy!”

Sharper: “Alistaire Allocco in so much pain that he didn’t even make the save!”

Knots: “Hopefully he’s okay…”

Lexy jumps up and down for a moment as Ravyn then gets up and winces before looking at Syren. She looks at her and walks over to her before embracing her. Lexy climbs onto the apron. Ravyn says something to Syren before Lexy enters the ring and separates them.

Sharper: “Ravyn saying something to her wife. Lexy clearly wanting none of it. Just stunned Alistaire didn’t find a way up, and Dark Fantasy, meanwhile, it wasn’t as smooth as we’ve seen them, but they retain.”

Knots: “Maybe Alistaire shouldn’t have been in the ring. I hate to say it. But just because you’re cleared…”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but Adam tried to fight for his son. Dark Fantasy took advantage. Even if Alistaire got in, I don’t know if he’d have gotten past Ravyn. Nonetheless, Dark Fantasy now are officially the World Tag Team Champions and will continue to be so!”

Ravyn Taylor backs up as Cassidy hands her the World Tag Team Championship belt and then extends the other to Syren. Syren takes it and looks at it as Lexy then raises her arm. Ravyn smirks and raises her arm as Adam rolls over, moving toward Alistaire who leans on the ropes. The scene cuts away.

The Apocalypse logo comes up on the screen. “Sinners and Saints” by Like a Storm plays in the background. A still for Asher Hayes vs. Kandis comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “And from the World Tag Team Championship to the World Championship. Rubber match between these two. Asher Hayes challenges Kandis for the SCW World Championship. And it’s been a long time coming.”

A recap video plays showing the history between Asher Hayes and Kandis.

Asher Hayes vs. Kandis

SCW World Championship

Phillips: “And now, your main event of the evening, and it is for the SCW World Championship! Introducing first, hailing from Chicago, Illinois, the challenger…he is…Asher! Hayes!”

The opening riff to "Smooth Sailing" by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 11 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a long leather jacket and sunglasses.

“It's all in motion, no stoppin' it now
I got nothing to lose and only one way up
I'm burning bridges, I destroy the mirage
All visions of collisions, fucking bon voyage"

He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rain down upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both fists into the air, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.

“I got bruises and hickies, stitches and scars
Got my own theme music, plays wherever I are
Fear is the hand that pulls your strings
A useless toy, pitiful plaything
I'm in flagrante
In every way
Every day"

He stands, once again, on the top rope. He removes his shades as he looks toward the ceiling, before dropping down, removing his jacket and handing his belongings to the ref.

"It's all smooth sailing
From here on out
I'm gon' do the damage
That needs getting done"

Asher then leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Phillips: “And his opponent, residing from Santa Barbara, California…she is the reigning SCW World Champion…she is…Kandis!”

The opening of "Whore" by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

{I'm the girl you've been thinking about, The one thing you can't live without
I'm the girl you've been waiting for
I'll have you down on your knees, I'll have you begging for more}

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face as the crowd cheers. She turns and shows off her notorious rear end, swaying it back and forth, before rubbing the face plate of the SCW World Championship as it rests above said rear end, earning further cheers.

{I can be, I can be your eve... ry... thing}

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, then Kandis turns around, spinning the World title to the front as well, before she stands, arms spread and feet wide apart as vocalist Maria Brink shouts:

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

Kandis starts down the ramp as the rest of the chorus continues, the sway in her hips ever present as she smirks at all the cheers, even blowing kisses to the crowd.

{I am the dirt you created
I am your sinner, I am your whore
But let me tell you something, baby
You love me for everything you hate me for}

Kandis goes up the ring steps and enters the ring through the second and top rope slowly, making sure to show off her ass. The heavy music fades out as Kandis goes to her corner, climbing to the top and lifting the World title high above, gaining another huge reaction from the fans, before she climbs down, handing the title to the ref and leaning into the corner, waiting for the match to start.

Sharper: “Here we are ladies and gents. The main event. Asher Hayes, the challenger, versus Kandis, the champion, for the richest prize in our industry. The SCW World Championship.”

Knots: “Lot of history between these two, dating back to the End of the Year special in December 2022. They had the first one on one match at the following Pay-Per-View, where Asher pulled off the win.”

Sharper: “Kandis evened the score by pinning Asher in the tournament to crown the new SCW World Champion leading up to Taking Hold of the Flame, the battle royal she went on to win, earning her shot at the title at Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “Which she won, overcoming Selena Frost. First night back, Asher crashed her celebration, letting her and everyone else know that he was calling his shot. And I may get more hate for this, but it’s not like he’s not earned it.”

Sharper: “I can’t argue that. Now, let’s see if he can get the one championship that has always eluded him, or if Kandis will continue to reign supreme.”

Asher and Kandis are shown looking at one another, before the cameras show the referee holding the World title up in the center of the ring. He then hands it to the timekeeper, before looking at both competitors and calling for the bell. Kandis steps out, going to the center of the ring, shifting on her feet from side to side, as Asher is shown remaining in his corner.

Kandis: “You fucked around! Let’s find out!”

Sharper: “The champion challenging the number one contender.”

Asher smirks before stepping out of his corner, meeting Kandis in the middle of the ring. They are shown jawing at one another, before Kandis hits a quick slap with her a left hand then a right hook. Asher staggers back as Kandis keeps up the assault, landing a right forearm, followed a second, and a third, backing Asher into the ropes. She hits a fourth and whips Asher across the ring.

Asher comes back and Kandis goes for a roundhouse, but Asher dunks under, stopping just behind her. Asher then hits a dropkick to the back of the right leg, dropping Kandis to her knee.

Sharper: “Dropkick to Kandis’ surgically repaired knee.”

Knots: “I’ll go ahead and remind those watching from home. Kandis tore her MCL and ACL, putting her on the shelf for quite some time.”

Asher gets to his feet and stands in front of Kandis, nudging her with a foot to the face. He goes to do it again, but Kandis shoves his foot away and tries to get to her feet, but Asher kicks the side of her right knee, dropping Kandis back down to her knee. Asher then hooks her and plants her with a spike DDT.

Sharper: “The challenger in firm control of the champion in the early goings of our main event.”

Asher gets to his feet and grabs Kandis, pulling her up, keeping control of her wrist, before pulling her into a short arm lariat. Asher pulls her back up, maintaining wrist control, and he hits another short arm lariat.

Knots: “Asher went from going after Kandis’ knee to her head. Might have to ask how her head is later.”

Asher pulls Kandis up once more before kicking her in the right knee. Asher backs up then bounces off the ropes, hitting another dropkick, this time to the front of the leg, bringing Kandis back down to the mat.

Sharper: “And the challenger back to the knee once again.”

Asher goes for the cover.

Kandis shoots the shoulder up.

Sharper: “Kandis getting out at two. Notice that she used her shoulder, instead of kicking out. Trying to preserve strength in the leg as much as possible, I’m sure.”

Asher gets to his feet and stomps on the front of Kandis’ knee, as the crowd begins to boo. Kandis rolls over and Asher stomps on the back of the knee as well. He then turns and mocks the booing crowd.

Knots: “Asher letting the fans know what he thinks of them.”

Sharper: “Yes, he is. Oh wait!”

Asher is shown being pulled down into a roll-up, as Kandis goes for the pin.

Asher kicks out!

Sharper: “The challenger gloated a bit too much and it nearly cost him. Rookie mistake by the veteran if you want my opinion.”

Knots: “I’m sure he might.”

Asher rolls over and gets to one knee, only for Kandis to lunge forward with a left hook. Kandis staggers back a bit, trying to put her weight on her left leg, before she delivers a right kick to the side of Asher’s head, sending him to the mat. Kandis then backs into the ropes, standing on her left leg once again.

Sharper: “Kandis with her right leg dangling above the mat. You have to wonder what damage has been done already.”

Asher is shown getting to his feet, using the ropes, looking slightly dazed. Kandis stumbles across the ring and clubs Asher in the middle of his back with her forearm, each shot receiving cheers from the crowd, as Asher falls forward. Kandis grabs Asher by the hair before driving her knee into the center of his back. Kandis then hooks Asher and plants him with a reverse DDT.

Sharper: “The World Champion building some momentum now.”

Knots: “Maybe her head’s not half bad.”

Sharper: “I’m not even sure what to say to that.

Kandis goes for the cover.

Asher kicks out.

Sharper: “Another two count for the champion.”

Asher is shown rolling over onto his stomach as Kandis gets to her feet, using the ropes. She stumbles over, before stomping on Asher’s back once then twice. Kandis then stands over Asher, her feet at his sides. She reaches down, grabbing his arms, before sitting down and pulling his arms back.

Knots: “Oh damn! Kandis has Sexecution locked in! That can’t be good for the man’s back.”

Kandis pulls back. Asher can be heard yelling as the ref checks on him.

Ref: “What do you say, Asher?”

Asher: “No!!!”

Kandis pulls back again, and the ref checks once more, with Asher saying no. The cameras then catch Asher’s left leg moving a bit, reaching for the ropes, before he manages to barely get his foot on them. The ref then notices, calling for a rope break.

Sharper: “Asher found his saving grace with the foot on the rope.”

Knots: “Kandis hasn’t let go, just yet.”

The ref begins the count.

Ref: “!...2…3…”

Kandis breaks the hold. She gets to her feet as Asher rolls out of the ring.

Sharper: “Asher going to the outside, giving himself a breather.”

Knots: “He has claimed his back is fine, but it’s also taken each time he’s been in the ring. Kandis is no exception. Just as Asher has gone after her knee. Not to mention her head.”

Asher is shown walking around the ring holding his back as Kandis rolls out of the ring. She goes after him, her right leg not moving like her left, so it appears like she’s skipping a bit. Kandis manages to catch up and she drives her forearm into Asher’s back. Asher stumbles forward, before quickly turning around and poking Kandis in the eye.

Sharper: “The challenger with a thumb to the eye!”

Asher grabs Kandis and drives her headfirst into the turnbuckle. Kandis bounces off the steel and falls to the concrete floor. Asher rolls into the ring and back out again.

Knots: “The ref was at 5, but Asher breaking the count.”

Kandis is shown trying to get up, only for Asher to charge over and chop block Kandis in the back of her right knee. Asher gets up and walks over to Kandis before stomping on the side of her head. He then pulls her up from the floor and rolls her into the ring.

Sharper: “We’re back inside the ring now. Both of these competitors have taken the fight for one another. But you have to know it’s about more than the World title for these two. They have history. They don’t care for one another. At all.”

Asher gets up as Kandis is shown using the ropes to pull herself up. Asher charges over and leaps up, taking Kandis down with a reverse hurricanrana.

Knots: “Asher driving Kandis headfirst into the mat.”

Asher then goes for the cover.

Kandis kicks out, earning cheers from the crowd.

Sharper: “Kandis still in the fight, showing why she won Taking Hold of the Flame, and why she defeated Selena Frost in the Rise to Greatness main event.”

Asher looks at the ref, glaring at him, earning some boos, before he pulls Kandis up. Once she stands, Asher begins to drive his forearm into the side of her head. Kandis stumbles back as Asher steps back then forward, connecting with a superkick, which sends Kandis to the mat.

Asher drops down and sits Kandis up, before hooking her arms, one behind his right arm and the other behind his left leg, before he begins to connect with elbows to the side of the head. Asher hits five then unhooking her arms. Kandis goes to the mat and Asher covers her once more.

3…NOOO! Kandis kicks out! Asher looks up in disbelief.

Sharper: “Kandis kicks out just before the 3 and Asher is stunned!”

Asher slams his fists down on the mat, earning more boos, as he climbs to his feet. He grabs Kandis’ legs, kicks the back of the right knee three times, before stepping through and locking in Painful Hayes.

Knots: “The champion may be in trouble here. That hold puts all kinds of strain on the back, legs and knees.”

Sharper: “Right you are. Kandis is going to have to find a way to fight out or get to the ropes if she wants to keep this fight going.”

Asher leans forward, putting more pressure on, as the ref checks with Kandis. She punches the mat and bites the back of her hand, shaking her head no. Asher breaks the hold, but keeps his grip on Kandis’ ankle, lifting her right leg up and driving the knee into the mat once, twice, and a third time. The crowd then boos as Asher takes a bow.

Asher walks over and pulls Kandis up, but Kandis manages to connect with a European uppercut. Asher stumbles back, before going for a haymaker, but Kandis dunks under. Asher turns, just as Kandis connects with a spinning backfist. Asher falls into the ropes, looking dazed, before stumbling forward. Kandis dunks down, letting Asher fall onto her shoulders. Kandis pushes up, but her knee buckles.

Sharper: “Not sure what Kandis is trying to do, but not sure if it’s a good idea with the condition her knee appears to be in.”

Knots: “It may be done, completely.”

Kandis screams as she pushes back up, and driving Asher to the mat with a Samoan drop. The crowd erupts as Kandis goes for the cover.

Sharper: “Kandis showing heart, though we don’t know at what cost. This is what winning this match, beating Asher, and keeping the world title means to her. Digging down deep!”

3….NOOOO! Asher shoots the shoulder up! Kandis looks at the ref who states it was two. Kandis then pushes herself up, stumbling back into the ropes as Asher begins to slowly stir. Asher turns and Kandis stumbles forward, springing off her feet as much as she can before hooking Asher and taking him to the mat with a tornado DDT.

Sharper: “Kandis spiking the challenger.”

Kandis pushes herself up then holds onto the ropes. Asher is shown getting up slowly. Kandis is then shown motioning for him to stand up. Asher slowly turns as Kandis runs as much as she possibly can towards him.

Sharper: “Kandis may be going for the Starmaker…”

Kandis pushes off the left leg as she goes to drive her right knee, but Asher uses her momentum, getting out of her grip and slamming her down to the mat with a powerbomb. He then folds her over for the pin.

Kandis kicks out.

Sharper: “And she kicks out!”

Asher steps back and looks around. He turns and walks over to Kandis. Kandis slowly rolls over and Hayes shakes his head. He then grabs her and lifts her up before then hooking the arm and hitting Cid Turner’s the Sovereign Takeover. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “What? Shades of Cid Turner!”

Knots: “A callback to a couple of years ago?!”

Hayes smiles and rolls her over and hooks the leg.

Kandis shoots her shoulder up again. Hayes rolls off and looks over. He then looks around before sliding back to the ropes. He grabs at his hair and looks around before then turning and rolling to the floor. He looks around. (1) Kandis slowly rolls over as Hayes scans the arena before then turning and storming over to the timekeeper. He grabs the World Championship from him. He then turns and looks at the ring.

Hayes: “Said I wouldn’t touch it? Touching it now! Touching it over and over! It’s mine! Do I have to force you to understand!”

Hayes then rolls into the ring. He gets up and Demitra gets in his way, stopping him from attacking Kandis. Hayes just yells at him, getting in his face. The crowd roars as Hayes continues to brandish the SCW World Championship.

Sharper: “Hayes with the World Title.”

Knots: “You can’t hit her. What are you doing?”

Sharper: “Right now, being stopped by the official, who is doing his job.”

Kandis stirs as we then cut to a wide shot as Konrad Raab rolls into the ring. He then nails Kandis in the back with a hard clothesline. Kandis drops to the mat as Raab then turns and Hayes moves to put Demitra into position before Raab lunges and grabs Demitra and hits a release German suplex. Demitra rolls through, ending up on his stomach. Raab then gets up as Hayes throws the SCW World Championship over his shoulder.

Sharper: “What the hell? Konrad Raab! Just german suplexed Demitra!”

Knots: “He won’t be getting up anytime soon!”

Sharper: “And look at Hayes. He just threw the title over his shoulder!”

Hayes leans back in the corner. He then motions to Kandis. Raab smiles before turning to Kandis as she gets up, seeing him in the ring and Raab drills her with a hard right. He then mounts her and nails her with repeated hard right hands. The crowd boos loudly.

Sharper: “Raab has wanted revenge on Kandis for so long. Now that she’s World Champion, he’s focused entirely on her.”

Knots: “And Hayes happy to enjoy this. Why not? Demitra down!”

Sharper: “This is terrible!”

The crowd boos as Raab gets a few more shots in before then getting up. Kandis rolls over, blood coming from her forehead from the right hands. Raab then gets up and walks around the ring and exits to the floor. He drops down as Hayes looks around. He steps forward.

Hayes: “Need help?”

Hayes runs his hand through his hair as he leans back. Raab then reaches under the ring and pulls out a barbed wire wrapped bat. He smiles as he then pulls out a lighter. He then rolls into the ring. He looks at Kandis.

Raab: “I have waited for this!”

Kandis stirs and rolls over as she looks up at Raab in both annoyance and defiance. She glances at Hayes as Raab holds the bat up and then places the lighter, lighting it, against the top, revealing a cloth attached which starts to burn. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Oh my God! Get help! He’s lit that damn bat on fire!”

Hayes applauds lightly as Raab looks at Kandis before we see Simon Lyman running out from the back. Simon runs down to the ring and slides into the ring. He gets up and Raab turns and swings at him. Hayes drops to the floor. Lyman ducks the bat shot as Raab turns and Simon hits him with the Lymanizer. Raab staggers back, dropping the bat and rolling out of the ring.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman! The number one contender!”

Knots: “Well he seemed to be willing to deal with fire earlier!”

Simon turns and looks at the bat as we see crew members running to the ring, one with a fire extinguisher. Officials run down too as CHBK walks out from the back. Hayes then starts to hold the World Title over his head as the bell sounds. The crew member puts out the bat as Raab is forced from the ring, yelling in anger. Kandis starts to get up and looks at Lyman before stepping forward and pointing at Hayes. CHBK tries to stop Hayes but Hayes shoves him down and steps past him, holding the title over his head as he backs away up the rampway. The crowd looks on booing as the scene fades to black…
