“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

MAIN SHOW:

The sounds of piano keys are heard as we open up in the backstage of an SCW arena. We see Deanna Frost nodding as she goes through security. We then cut to show Light in the Darkness walking into their locker room. Shots of Chris Dumont and David Striker talking to one another follow before showing Bree Lancaster joking with Amy Chastaine. CHBK’s voice is heard.

CHBK: “There are few nights that really separate themselves from others in this sport.”

We see shots of the crowd cheering from an angle obscuring the ring. We then hear a distorted sound of Adam Sharper on the call.

Sharper: “Kandis has done it! Kandis is the World Champion!”

Knots: “And Toronto hasn’t been this happy since 1993! And she’s not even from here!”

We then see Kandis celebrating with the SCW World Championship at RTG XX. We cut to show Selena heading to the back, annoyed.

CHBK: “It’s a night where everything changes…whether you want it to or not.”

We see a shot of Jason Zero spearing Brian Kinney at Rise to Greatness in 2008 before showing Adam Allocco smiling as World Champion, and then cutting to show Monarchy in the ring as Ravyn Taylor and Sienna Swann are down.

CHBK: “You win…”

We see Rachel Foxx attacking Shorty Jr. with a plane of glass, before showing Christy Matthews fighting Shawn Winters.

CHBK: “Or you lose…”

We see a shot of Syren disappointed after a match, before showing CHBK himself down in the ring. A shot of Xander Valentine looking glassy-eyed followed as official check on him.

CHBK: “And it means more.”

We see Light in the Darkness dancing to the ring at last year’s Rise to Greatness after having proposed to one another.

CHBK: “It’s not just pressure…it’s not just good marketing.”

We see a shot of Glory Braddock and Brittany Lohan fighting Team Desire at last year’s Rise to Greatness, before cutting to show Jay Gold and Dean Black standing toe to toe against one another, and then cutting to show Shawn Winters hitting Xander Valentine with the Kiss the Sky.

CHBK: “It’s because it has become that. Twenty one years…the biggest event in wrestling!”

Josh Hudson is shown walking out from the back before we see James Evans powerbombing Ace Marshall off the top rope and onto the barricade. A shot of Owen Cruze celebrating follows.

CHBK: “The best of the best have competed on this stage. They have thrived! They’ve fallen! They’ve gotten up! And they’ve imploded.”

We see Simon Lyman celebrating his retirement as Donovan Kayl hugs him. We then see Regan Street holding the SCW World Tag Team Championship, celebrating with Selena Frost and David Helms. We then see James Exeter holding the SCW World Championships before we cut to show Liberation in the ring, followed Shilo Valiant looking at Syren as the World Championship is held up between them.

CHBK: “And it will happen again. Whether they’re ready or not…”

CHBK is then shown as he walks over to the curtain and stops.

CHBK: “So SCW…last year new ownership. This year…as diverse an array of talent as ever. What will you do?”

CHBK opens the curtain as the camera goes through and fades to white.

“Hellbound” by Autumn Kings plays in the background as the camera spins around a computer-generated version of the Rise to Greatness logo.

“And now, Supreme Championship Wrestling presents…Rise to Greatness XXI!”

The logo remains on the screen for a few moments before we cut to the inside of The Dome in the America Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The crowd roars as pyro shoots up the rampway and all the way to the stage before firing high into the air. The display continues for a few moments longer before spotlights circle around the stadium. The crowd cheers as the cameras pan across the stadium. Fans mug for the camera and we cut to a wide shot to see the sea of humanity assembled.

Sharper: “Welcome to St. Louis! Welcome to Rise to Greatness XXI!”

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd for a few moments before we cut to the ringside announce position to show Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots seated there.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here alongside Jonathan Knots and we’re here to call the action. It’s here. It’s Rise to Greatness! And it’s capped off by Selena Frost defending the World Title against Josh Hudson!”

Knots: “And both are wanting to do anything to get out of here with the title. For both very different, but personal reasons. Who’s going to be disappointed tonight? Who’s going to be celebrating?”

Sharper: “So much to come tonight and we’re kicking it off in the Adrenaline Division!”

Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO vs. Bree Lancaster

The stadium darkens before:

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan

The Nyan cat appears on the stage, engulfing it, with the crowd popping. The cat in a poptart, farting rainbows steers around and breaks right into the screen, showing a window crack before breaking. At that moment, “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL’s opening riffs plays, and the girls' voice count:

One-Two
One-Two-Three-Four!

Out pops YUYO from behind the curtains. Bright white light now shines down on the stage, following YUYO. Mister Meowkazawa follows her to stand behind her. A moment later, her fellow Shining Maidens of SCW members join her as well. NEMO and SAWA pose at either side of YUYO. YUYO steps up to the top of the ramp and places her hands on her hips. Meowkazawa hands her the magical staff, Gríðarvölr. She spins the staff around with a display of talent, the long purple and white ribbons attached to the staff’s end flash. When she stops, she thrusts one hand forward while holding the staff behind her back.

YUYO: “HA!”

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit and is for the SCW Adrenaline Championship. First, descending from the sea of stars above, the challenger, accompanied by Mr. Meowkazawa and the Shining Maidens, she is the Guardian of Love, Justice and Peace— Magical Cosmic Princess, YUYO!”

YUYO springs down the ramp, staff in hand, she tosses it into the ring as she slides in under the bottom rope. She pops to her feet, picks up the staff again in a single stride, and then straight to the corner. She holds the staff like a gun and aims towards the ceiling, “BANG! BANG!”. Mr. Meowkazawa catches up to her, taking the staff while she remains in the corner. She points to the sky, “FOREVER!”. SAWA echoes YUYO's call while NEMO stands stoically off to the side. YUYO runs to the next corner and repeats, “FOREVER!”. She hops off the corner with a superhero landing! She then puts on a “mean” face as she readies for the match.

Sharper: “Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO arriving on scene. Hoping to make it three for three for the Shining Maidens and also to walk away with SCW gold.”

Knots: “She better be ready. YUSA, NEMO and SAWA all did their work. YUYO is supposed to be the leader of this group. And Bree Lancaster, trust me, is going to take her as serious as a heart attack!”

The lights dim, only a few small ones on the stage as the voice of Bree Lancaster whispers:

“I am the light of the truth
The one who sees right through”

A guitar riff plays as the small lights dance around the stage, then suddenly stop, as one large beam shines down onto the figure of Bree herself. The SCW Adrenaline Championship sits over her shoulder.

“Spotlight”

The smaller lights begin again swirling as the music of “Spotlight” by Fozzy kicks in and Bree makes her way down the ramp. The lights continue to swirl as her nameplate comes up on the screen. We cut to a wide shot showing the champion making her way down to the ring.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from New Orleans, Louisiana, she is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, Bree Lancaster!”

[I am the light of the truth, The one who sees right through
I know your every move, I got my eye on you
Go on and bury it down, I follow you 'til it's out
I got my eye on you, I got my eye on you]

Bree smiles at the front row fans as she gets to the ring and goes up the steps, stepping through the ropes. She goes to a corner and gets on the second turnbuckle, posing with one hand up overhead. The crowd cheers.

[You're the wicked, I'm a sharp knife
Shining on you like a spotlight
I'm a witness, I'm a dark night]

The lights go down, and one beam shines on Bree in the corner.

[You're a sickness, I'm your spotlight]

The lights come up and Bree hops down as the music fades out. Bree gets to her corner and looks around. She then steps up and hands over the SCW Adrenaline Championship to the official, Steve Hollinsworth. He takes the title and holds it over his head. The SCW Adrenaline Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster hoping to keep this reign going. She’s been champion since Body, Heart, and Soul.”

Knots: “Big night tonight. Defending the title, hopefully watching Amy Chastaine beat Simon Lyman’s ass and then hoping to watch Josh Hudson walk out champion.”

Sharper: “Wants to start things off on the right foot.”

YUYO looks across at Bree Lancaster as the crowd buzzes. Lancaster motions to her to come at her. YUYO looks at her, wrinkling her nose in anger, and rushes Lancaster. Lancaster side steps, pushing YUYO on her back into the ropes. She bounces off and Lancaster arm drags her over. YUYO rolls through and gets up and runs at Lancaster who hip tosses her down. YUYO rolls over and gets up and Bree grabs her again and then moves her around in a side headlock. YUYO reaches around as the Shining Maidens look on in early concern. Bree then hits a side headlock takedown and YUYO moves into a headscissors. Bree nips out. YUYO rolls over and gets up and Bree just dropkicks her down. YUYO rolls over to the corner.

Sharper: “And right now, the experience of Bree playing a big role.”

Knots: “Almost fully overwhelmed. A lot of pressure on her. Maidens beat Shinigami Foundation yesterday; YUSA won an Adrenaline or Underground Championship shot. And YUYO needs to beat Bree to stop Shinigami!”

Sharper: “Stop it! You know that’s not true.”

Knots: “YUYO thinks it!”

Bree gets up and moves after YUYO. She chops YUYO in the corner. The crowd woos. She chops her again. More woos. Bree whips YUYO across the ring and runs after. YUYO jumps to the bottom rope and then goes to float over, but lands on Bree’s shoulder. Bree turns and YUYO grabs at her before pushing off and spinning around and into an arm drag. Bree rolls through. She gets up and YUYO runs at Bree. Bree kicks at her leg and YUYO goes up and lands in a seated position on the middle turnbuckle. The crowd ohs. Bree then grabs her and pulls her out with a back suplex into a bridge.

YUYO kicks out. YUYO crawls to the ropes. She moves up to the middle rope and leans on it as Bree runs across the ring, bounces off and lands on YUYO’s back. YUYO bounces off and rolls over. Bree goes for the pin.

YUYO kicks out again. Both women get up and she lunges at Bree, who lifts her up and hits a flapjack. YUYO pops up and turns around and Bree hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

YUYO kicks out again. She rolls out of the ring.

Sharper: “And Bree Lancaster with a series of pinning attempts.”

Knots: “YUYO looks lost. This is the exact opposite of what we’ve seen from her.”

Sharper: “And we’ve always known YUYO had this part in her. There was a string of overconfidence and she, and the Maidens, have had a lot of success since returning at Taking Hold of the Flame!”

YUYO walks around the ring and Meowkazawa heads over to YUYO.

YUYO: “Stay away! YUYO is think-“

YUYO doesn’t get to think long as Bree runs at the ropes and grabs the top rope and hits a twisting vaulting press onto YUYO. The crowd roars. Meowkazawa jukes back in concern as Bree gets up and grabs YUYO. She lifts her up and rolls her into the ring. Bree climbs onto the apron and then moves to the top rope. The crowd roars as YUYO slowly gets up in the ring and turns to Bree who dives off with a crossbody. She stays on YUYO for the pin.

YUYO kicks out. She rolls over as Bree gets up. Bree then grabs YUYO and pulls her up. She then pushes her into the ropes and fires her off. YUYO bounces off as Bree hits the ropes herself and goes for a running double axe handle smash, but YUYO somersaults under. Bree stops and turns as YUYO then backflips back, landing her shins on Bree’s shoulders and taking her down with a headscissors. Bree rolls through. She gets up and YUYO hits a basement dropkick. Bree falls to her knees and YUYO rolls over to her side and then flips up and into a second dropkick, this one to the side of Bree’s head.

Sharper: “And YUYO finally getting some offense. A couple of hard kicks and Bree quickly stunned.”

Knots: “That’s how quickly everything can change.”

Bree rolls over and moves to the corner. YUYO heads over and kicks her in the ribs once and then again and again before then grabbing Bree and running her out and hitting a facebuster. She then rolls her over and hooks the leg.

Bree kicks out. Bree turns and starts to get up and YUYO runs at her and then cartwheels past her. Bree turns to her, a bit confused, only for YUYO to hit an enziguri kick. Bree drops to the mat on her hands and knees. YUYO turns and grabs her arm and twists through into a La Magistral cradle.

Bree kicks out. Both get up and YUYO ducks a clothesline attempt from Bree. Bree stops at the corner. YUYO runs back at her, but Bree gets an elbow up. YUYO staggers back and Bree hops to the middle rope and then dives off with a blockbuster. The crowd ohs. Bree hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Lancaster with the blockbuster! YUYO walked into it. Maybe a bit too cocky.”

Knots: “Or too flashy!”

YUYO gets her shoulder up. She rolls over. She starts to get up and Bree grabs her from behind. YUYO however elbows her in the jaw once and then again. Bree clubs her in the back and then goes for a German suplex. YUYO backflips through. Bree turns onto her knees and YUYO hits a Shining Wizard. She then turns and hits a standing shooting star press into a pin.

Bree gets her shoulder up. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And that’s the closest YUYO has been to dethroning Bree Lancaster here as Adrenaline Champion at Rise to Greatness XXI!”

Knots: “And Bree knows it too!”

Bree rolls over and starts to get up and YUYO kicks her in the ribs. She then forearms her in the jaw and then hits a front dropkick. Bree falls back into the corner. YUYO then pulls her out and jumps up and hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

Bree kicks out. Both get up and YUYO kicks her in the ribs, hooking her head and leg and hitting a bridging fisherman’s suplex.

Bree kicks out again. YUYO waits for her to get up and wrenches her arm. She then climbs up to the top rope and then starts to sing as she walks along the top rope. Bree then pulls her off. YUYO flips forward and lands back first on the mat. The crowd ohs. YUYO turns and gets up and walks right into the BOGO. YUYO falls back to the mat, holding her chest. She then steps forward and Bree takes her down by the legs only to fold her legs over and into a Louisiana Cloverleaf! The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And Bree Lancaster now just stopping YUYO, turning her over, locking in the Cloverleaf!”

Knots: “And time to see how crafty she is here!”

Lancaster sits down as YUYO reaches around. The crowd looks on, many making noise as YUYO yells out in pain. Lancaster remains in a seated position as YUYO reaches out again. She tries to move closer and closer, slowly trying to move herself over. She yells out as Lancaster keeps the hold on. YUYO, in between her gasps of pain, yells out “For Justice!” She wills herself along a bit more and gets closer to the ropes. She then grabs the bottom rope as the crowd roars.

Lancaster lets go and walks around the ring. YUYO winces in pain. She slowly gets up and Lancaster then pulls her back and hits a reverse DDT. She hooks the leg.

YUYO gets her shoulder up. Lancaster rolls off. She starts to get up and YUYO rolls over. Lancaster grabs her and drags her up before turning and hitting a vertical suplex in front of the corner. Lancaster turns and moves to the corner. The crowd roars as she gets up to the top rope. The crowd roars as she then glances back and goes for a moonsault. YUYO moves and Lancaster lands on her feet. She steps back and then steps up only for YUYO to step up and lock in the Cub Hug. The crowd roars as YUYO starts to squeeze Bree and nuzzles her face into her. YUYO then turns and reels back and reaches over and pinches her nose.

Sharper: “YUYO…I don’t know if this is the time-“

Knots: “And Bree doesn’t care for her reaction!”

Bree uses this moment and shove YUYO back into the corner. Bree lunges and YUYO ducks under and then jumps to the middle rope and hits a twisting back elbow to the face of Bree.

YUYO: “For Justice!”

Bree stumbles out from the impact and YUYO runs up behind her and lifts herself up onto Bree’s shoulders and then rolls forward into a victory roll.

Bree kicks out. The crowd ohs. Both get up and YUYO runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Bree scoops her up, but YUYO counters into a tilt-a-whirl DDT. The crowd ohs. She turns and hooks the leg.

Sharper: “YUYO spiking the champion! Could this be it?”

Bree shoots her shoulder up.

Knots: “And for Bree Lancaster, not yet!”

Bree rolls over and YUYO grabs her and pulls her up and hits a scoop slam. YUYO then moonswalks to the corner. She then looks around before stomping her foot.

YUYO then lunges at Bree for the MAGICAL Knee as the Japanese and English lettering spelling out “EXPLOSION!” come up on the screen. NEMO and SAWA hop onto the apron too, but Bree blocks it and then hits the Twisted Ambition. The crowd ohs. The letter disappears as NEMO and SAWA quickly jump down.

Knots: “Bree foiled the Explosion!”

Sharper: “And maybe more! Bree torqued that knee!”

YUYO yells out and crawls to the ropes. Bree heads over and stomps her leg once and then again. She then grabs her and pulls her up and hits a kneebreaker. YUYO rolls over in pain and moves to the corner. Bree turns after her and grabs her and pulls her out. YUYO however holds onto the top rope.

YUYO: “No! NOOOOOOOOO!”

Bree clubs her a few times.

Bree lets go and walks around the ring, providing the break. She then heads back over to YUYO and grabs her, but YUYO pushes off with her other leg and rolls through into a variation of a bridging school boy!

The bell sounds. YUYO lets go and rolls out of the ring. She then gets up to jump up, but falls over and into Meowkazawa. Bree looks up.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and NEW SCW Adrenaline Champion, Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO!”

Sharper: “YUYO! She did it!”

Knots: “Did she outsmart Bree? Or?”

Sharper: “Or she just used her agility. On one leg. Bree’s even stunned too!”

Knots: “We’re not going to hear the end of this!”

YUYO gets up and moves away from Meowkazawa who looks a bit embarrassed. NEMO and SAWA raise her arm. The official joins them and hands her the Adrenaline Championship. She holds it up and sticks her tongue out at Bree. Bree just gets up, hands on hips, almost in disbelief, shaking her head before then applauding her. YUYO holds the title over her head .

Sharper: “YUYO winning to start us off here on the main card. Meanwhile, Jaina Lancaster is backstage with the SCW COO, CHBK himself, Alex Desoubrais!”

The scene cuts backstage to see Jaina Lancaster with CHBK outside of his office.

Jaina: “Thank you Adam. I’m here with the SCW COO, Alex Desoubrais. Alex…it’s been a year since you took control. You’re now here where we all look back on the year that was. How are you feeling about SCW under your guidance?”

CHBK: “Some bumps in the road, but it’s been all worth it. To see the young talent, the new talent all stepping up. That’s what you want to see. To see veterans coming back and competing at the highest level still. To feel the buzz that fans have is matched behind the scenes. There are some things we’ll see what happens, but I feel very good about things and SCW has much more in store. Tonight’s young and this upcoming year, the return for the Trios Tournament in mid-September, and so much more. It’s a very good time to be a wrestling fan.”

Jaina: “Absolutely. And you mentioned some things, we’ll see what happens. I assume you’re speaking on the World Title-“

CHBK: “I’m speaking about everything. There’s a lot of great wrestling to come tonight and-“

Just then, we see William Heaven walking into the scene. He holds his hand up.

Heaven: “Don’t mind me. You can finish your thought.”

Jaina: “You’re on camera.”

Heaven: “Well my apologies. Since I’ve already interjected myself, can I get a word with you, Mr. Desoubrais. I feel we could talk some business.”

CHBK: “Thanks Jaina. Mr. Heaven, just this way.”

CHBK motions to his office. Jaina watches as Heaven follows CHBK.

Jaina: “Back to the ring.”

The scene cuts away.

Leroy Adams vs. James Evans vs. Kimberly Williams vs. Eavan Maloney

SCW Underground Championship

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play. The crowd roars. A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. She looks around the stadium and slowly a sinister smirk appears on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight. Her nameplate comes up on the screen.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit and is a fatal fourway match for the SCW Underground Championship! First, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Wild Card, the Woman Scorned, she is Kimberly Williams!”

Hearing her introduction, she winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it, running down the rampway. She makes the long run before reaching the ring and she slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans. The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams hoping to stop James Evans from walking out champion. She doesn’t plan to give it up of course, but she also has been talking about how she wants to move on from the division she revived.”

Knots: “But to do that, you need to make sure it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. And if it’s James Evans, everything will be for not. Simple as that.”

“Trailer Talk” by FJ Outlaw rings out over the stadium. A few moments pass before we see Leroy Adams walk out behind the curtain as he stops on the stage. He head bobs to the music a minute before bobbing his whole body as he really gets into the music. He then begins focusing on the ring. His nameplate comes up on the screen.

Phillips: “Next, from Pacagoula, Mississippi, he is Leroy Adams!”

He marches his way the ring. After he gets to the floor, he starts slapping hands with fans, taking a swig of a fans beer. He makes it the ring and rolls in. He staggers up to his feet and walks over to the corner, takes off his wife beater and climb up the turnbuckle. He throws his hands up before jumping down and getting ready for the match.

Sharper: “Nothing fancy about this man, but he is here her to fight and to seemingly do the right thing.”

Knots: “Is someone paying for him to be here?”

Sharper: “Besides SCW?”

Knots: “If it’s to be believed, Kim said she would cover his costs to make sure he could be here for this fight, so maybe!”

The opening of “Shot from a Cannon" can be heard blaring through the PA system. The camera will pan through the curtain as the face of James Evans appears, igniting a negative reaction from the crowd, as they shower him in jeers. The camera remains on James as he breaks through the curtain. The boos intensify as James looks out at the crowd. His nameplate comes up.

Phillips: “From New York City, New York, he is James Evans!”

"Ten minutes in he's sweating
Should I have asked for more than fame?
Ignore that beast, he's smiling
It's not 'til next New Year's Eve"

James slowly makes his way to the ring, as images of him winning various championships and hitting various moves appear on the screen. He takes his time, milking the reaction, while both Leroy and Kim watch him in the ring. James Evans reaches the ring, staring at it.

"Wish I could get that list
Yes, I would burn that list
Down he goes"

James then makes his way up the ring steps, before turning and facing the crowd, who continue to boo.

"Set him down to a real life failure
Held fast like the field mice, been there
Give a nod as if he knows, come round
Dead last with a drumroll when the dam blows"

He then goes to the corner and sits on the top turnbuckle, his back to the crowd, as the screen shows James lifting the SCW World title above his head, as his music comes to an end.

Sharper: “Public Enemy number one in this one.”

Knots: “For good reason. He’s an asshole. He hates the Underground. He hates Kim, Eavan, now Leroy. And you know what, he’s good enough to succeed!”

Sharper: “This war going on for almost a year. Kim thought James was dispatched at Retribution, but James returned at Taking Hold of the Flame and it’s led to here, bringing in Adams and Maloney.”

A singular voice and piano fills the arena. On the tron, dozens of hands holding candles can be seen.

Cover my ears and close my eyes

Just long enough to stop the noise

Go and take everything and throw it away

But I will use my voice

As ‘Use My Voice’ really kicks in with the rest of the band, a band of spotlights move to a point at the entry. Eavan Maloney walks out to a favorable reaction and points up to the tron. The SCW Underground Championship is around her waist. She takes a moment and looks down at the ring as her nameplate comes up.

Drown every truth in an ocean of lies

As the song goes to chorus, on the tron stands all of Eavan's 'girls' from the Krigarakademin singing along to the song, as American Murder Log plays the tune. Eavan turns around and watches, blowing a kiss to the tron before walking to the ring.

Phillips: “And finally, from New Egypt, New Jersey, the SCW Underground Champion, she is Eavan ‘Sykobitty’ Maloney!”

She unhooks the belt and walks down the rampway. She moves near the fans on either side, letting them touch the belt before she turns and looks at the ring. She then runs over and slides in. She gets up and walks over to her corner. She glances at the tron with a smile on her face like a proud mother. She then turns and hands off the title to the official, Jennifer Cassidy. She holds the title over her head as the SCW Underground Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Eavan Maloney has come in like a house on fire. Seemingly unstoppable so far. And winning the Underground Champion with only a handful of matches under her belt.”

Knots: “Time for the bigger challenge and this is it. She’s fighting not just for that belt, but for her pride. And to kick James Evans’s ass too!”

James Evans looks around as Leroy Adams leans in his corner, looking around too. He slaps his face as Eavan Maloney gets ready and Kim Williams focuses on James. The bell sounds as Kim and Eavan then run over and both go after James. James falls back as the crowd roars. Leroy looks on as Kim nails James a couple of times with a hard right hand. Eavan pulls her back and then nails James with a couple of hard shots only for Kim to pull Eavan back and then kick James in the ribs. She nails him with a hard right and then Eavan pulls her away and Eavan kicks James in the ribs. She then backs up and steps forward and dropkicks James. James falls through the ropes to the floor. Eavan gets up as Kim notices Leroy remaining in his corner. Kim motions for him to come along. Leroy then steps up. He points to him.

Sharper: “Eavan Maloney and Kimberly Williams knocking James Evans out of the ring.”

Knots: “Leroy Adams has just remained in the corner. Don’t tell me he’s got some stage fright.”

Sharper: “Biggest stage he’s been on. Taking Hold of the Flame, he was thrown in. He didn’t get to think about it.”

Eavan nods before nailing him with a hard forearm. Adams nails her in the ribs. Kim then turns and sees James starting to get up as Eavan and Leroy trade blows before Adams gets the advantage, able to do more damage before he lifts Eavan up and tackles her back into the corner. He then elbows her in the jaw as Kim dives through the ropes and onto James, knocking him back down. The crowd roars. Kim rolls off as Adams elbows Eavan again. He then whips Maloney across the ring. Adams runs after and Eavan gets a boot up. Adams staggers back. Eavan then runs out and hits a dropkick to Adams’s knees. She then rolls out of the ring. Kim grabs James and drags him over and drives him into the barricade. Kim then turns and looks under the ring. She looks around as Eavan does the same on the other side. Kim then pulls out a trash can. She almost looks sad before she steps over and nails James in the head with it. James falls back against the barricade. Eavan Maloney pulls out a trash can of her own, but it has a number of items in it. She then throws it into the ring. She then looks around before seeing a tool box and grabs it and places it on the apron. Eavan rolls in after. Adams gets up and Eavan runs over and elbows Adams in the back of the head.

Sharper: “Eavan Maloney and Leroy Adams going at it as Kim Williams and James fighting-“

Knots: “James pulled something from his pants!”

Kim turns back, grabbing a wrench from under the ring only for her to walk into a hard right from James. Kim grimaces and falls over to the barricade. We then see James has a spiked brass knuckles on his right hand. He nails Kim in the stomach again and then again before swinging and catching her with a hard right. Kim goes up and over and into the crowd. She rolls over, blood coming from her lip. James climbs over as Eavan grabs a road sign from the trash can and slams it into the back of Leroy Adams. Adams stumbles over and falls to a knee. Eavan lifts it up and drives it down into his back again. She throws it away. She then looks at the trash can and dumps its contents, looking around before grabbing the trash can as Adams starts to get up. In the crowd, James grabs Kim and nails her with a hard right. She goes down, almost dazed. James then grabs her and looks around the crowd as Eavan goes to throw the trash can at Adams. Adams catches it and just throws it back at Eavan, nailing her in the face, knocking her down. The crowd ohs.

Knots: “Eavan Maloney found out that Leroy Adams can play catch!”

Sharper: “And Adams threw that back hard. Right to the face of the champion. Meanwhile, in the crowd, James Evans is trying to destroy Kim. Those brass knuckles to the jaw, to the stomach.”

Knots: “Trying to bust up the jaw, the ribs.”

Eavan stirs as Adams grabs her and pulls her up before just scoop slamming her down. He turns back to the weapons that Maloney dumped out and moves them around with his feet before pulling up a wooden garden spike. He then walks over as Maloney gets back up and nails her in the throat with the piece of wood. She falls back to the ropes. Adams then just nails her in the arm. She goes down, the wood breaking. He turns back as in the crowd James nails Kim in the ribs. This leads Kim to suddenly start to bite his arm. James pulls away. He shoves her back. She rolls through and James then goes to nail her, but Kim ducks and then nails him with a hard right and then another and another before jumping up and hitting a dropkick. James falls back as Kim lands on the concrete. She then crawls over and grabs his hand and slams it against the concrete. She pulls off the brass knuckles as the crowd roars. James rolls over and Kim then puts the brass knuckles on her hand.

Sharper: “Kim has the knuckles! She got the knuckles!”

Knots: “And time for James to get a taste of his own medicine!”

James looks up and Kim nails him in the jaw. The crowd roars. She nails him again and again and again, nailing him in the forehead, causing a cut to open up on his forehead. She nails him again before then biting him. In the ring, Leroy Adams then slams Eavan Maloney with a powerslam into the trash can. He hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Cover!”

Maloney kicks out. Kim pulls away and then swings with another hard right, but James Evans then catches her before hoisting her up and turning and throwing her into the rows of seats, causing her to land back first and awkwardly onto the backs of chairs and then between the seats. The crowd ohs. James steps back and turns, starting to head to the ring.

Sharper: “My God! Kim thrown into the crowds!”

Knots: “James did not care where she landed as long as she landed in a bad way and mission accomplished!”

Sharper: “Now we may be down to three, depending on what shape the former Underground Champion is in.”

Leroy Adams then grabs Eavan Maloney and whips her into the ropes. She however goes up and over the top rope to the apron. Adams runs at her, but Maloney jumps up with a ring apron enziguri. Adams stumbles back. Eavan Maloney then enters the ring and runs at Adams, spinning around him and hitting a snap back suplex into the trash can. The crowd ohs. Maloney then rolls over and goes to the first weapons brought in. Displeased, she rolls to the floor. She then looks underneath before then smiling before pulling out her trusty barbed wire crowbar, Barbie. The crowd roars. Eavan holds it up and rolls into the ring. Adams slowly gets up, holding his head and neck and turns to Eavan who runs at him and using it almost like a clothesline, nails Adams in the head with the crowbar. Adams goes down. Eavan spins around and runs at him and drives it into his face as if hitting an elbow drop. Adams rolls over, blood starting to come from his head.

Sharper: “And Adams is busted open. Eavan Maloney using her trusted Barbie to do the damage.”

Knots: “Well she wanted a better tool. She found it.”

Eavan Maloney walks around before then diving onto Adams, grinding the end of the crowbar into the forehead of Adams. Adams yells out, kicking at the mat. James Evans returns to the ringside area and then sees this in the ring. He then rolls into the ring and then runs at Eavan and just kicks her in the face. The crowd ohs as Eavan falls back, holding her face in pain.

Knots: “Jesus!”

Sharper: “Just a full kick right to the face of Eavan Maloney.”

Adams rolls over, blood streaming down his face as James Evans kicks at the crowbar out of the ring. Eavan Maloney dazed, looks around, grabbing at the ropes. Evans then grabs the toolbox and lifts off the top before reaching in and pulling out a screwdriver. Evans then turns and shrugs before shaking his head. Maloney gets up and James turns and drives the tip of the screwdriver into her forehead. The crowd ohs as Maloney goes down. Maloney rolls over and looks up, blood coming from a cut on her forehead. Evans then pulls her up and stabs her in the forehead again. Eavan bends over in pain. Evans pulls her up by the hair and then twists it in his hand before nailing her again and again and again. Eavan Maloney pulls away as the crowd ohs with each shot. Blood drips on the mat. James just throws the screwdriver away. He then walks around the ring, moving to the corner.

Sharper: “Now Maloney a bloody mess thanks to James Evans.”

Knots: “Sykobitty likes to stab? Evans obliged!”

Adams rolls to the floor. He then looks under the ring as Evans watches Maloney. Maloney slowly pulls herself up and she gets up and James Evans grabs her by the throat. He then hits a chokeslam. The crowd boos as James Evans looks around. Leroy Adams then pulls out a bag from under the ring. Evans then grabs Eavan Maloney dragging her to the corner. He then lifts her up and places her on the top rope. James Evans climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and looks at Eavan Maloney. He goes to bend her over as the crowd roars, but Maloney blocks it and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Maloney then headbutts James, leaving a bloodprint on his skull. She headbutts him again before then jumping up and going for the Silencer, but James Evans catches her. The crowd roars. James then turns and throws her down, back first into the ring apron. The crowd ohs. Maloney bounces and falls to the ground.

Sharper: “Oh! Oh! Oh!”

Knots: “God! Maloney just bent in half! What was she thinking?”

Sharper: “I don’t know…but James Evans is happy with himself-“

Knots: “Kim!”

Sharper: “With a barbed wire wrapped chair!”

Kimberly Williams, who managed to return to ringside with cameras focused elsewhere, brandishing a barbed wire wrapped chair from under the ring, gets up in the ring and runs across and nails James in the back while he’s on the middle turnbuckle. The crowd roars. Kim then throws the chair down as James Evans winces in pain, bending forward. Kim gets under him and pulls and powerbombs him off the turnbuckles and onto the barbed wire wrapped chair. Evans backflips through, ending up on his stomach.

Sharper: “And James! The barbed wire tearing at his back! Not once, but twice!”

Knots: “Kim making sure to get the most damage there!”

Kim smirks before slowly pulling herself up.

REPLAY:

We see James catching Maloney who attempts the Silencer before turning and slamming her into the ring apron. The crowd ohs. The RTG XXI logo comes up on the screen before we see Kim running across the ring with the chair and nailing James in the back with it. We then cut to her throwing the chair down and powerbombing Evans on it.

Kim grabs the barbed wire wrapped steel chair and lifts it up as James Evans slowly gets up. He turns and Kim swings, nailing him in the head with it. He gets his hands up.

James falls to the mat. Leroy rolls in with his bag as Kim throws the chair down and moves to the floor, exiting the ring. She looks under the ring as Leroy Adams, covered in blood, looks at James and then Maloney and Kim before then undoing the bag and turning it upside down, pouring out the contents – nuts and bolts. The nuts and bolts bounce around as the crowd roars. Kim turns and sees this. She smiles and applauds him before turning and reaching under the ring.

Knots: “Leroy brought his own touch. From the heart of Mississippi. The local scrapyard I guess.”

Sharper: “And they are going to just make everything hurt that much more. How do you land on that and not be in pain!”

Knots: “And Kim’s not to be outdone!”

Kim pulls out a barbed wire wrapped table. The crowd roars. She then unfolds the table legs and lifts it up, placing it at ringside. Just then, Adams runs over and grabs Kim by the head and pulls her up. Kim struggles a bit as Adams pulls her through the ropes, causing her to be back first on the middle rope. Adams then just drops his elbow on her chest, causing her to flip into the ring. She rolls over, wincing in pain. Adams then turns and grabs her as James Evans moves to the corner. Adams then whips her into the ropes. Kim bounces off and Adams powerslams her into the nuts and bolts. Kim grimaces in pain and rolls over in pain. The crowd ohs. Adams then watches her as she moves to the corner. Adams then runs at her and nails her with a running clothesline. He then pushes her down and goes for the pin.

Kim kicks out. Kim turns, holding her ribs as she rolls over. Adams then starts to get up and he runs into the ropes, but Maloney catches him by the leg and trips him up. He falls to the mat and Maloney pulls him out and then Maloney grabs the screwdriver Evans used, grabbing it from the ring and nails Adams with it. He goes down. The crowd ohs. Maloney then grabs at the ropes and pulls herself onto the apron. She gets up and Evans knees her in the ribs before then just scooping her up and slamming her into the nuts and bolts.

Sharper: “Evans just slamming Maloney down again.”

Knots: “Adams got a screwdriver for his trouble. Everyone bleeding. Maloney just muscled up there!”

Evans then grabs her and pulls her up before suddenly Kim nails James with the Morrigan’s Wrath. James stumbles back and falls to a knee. Kim then helps Maloney up and then they go over to James Evans and grab him. They hook him up and then hit a double vertical suplex into the nuts and bolts. The crowd roars. James Evans grimaces in pain. Kim then rolls over for the pin.

Maloney nails her with a hard right. Kim falls back. Maloney goes for the pin.

Kim nails her with a hard right. Maloney rolls back and Maloney and Kim look at one another before then both bolting to roll out of the ring. They both look under the ring as the crowd cheers. Kim then pulls out her weapon, a staple gun. The crowd roars. Maloney pulls out hers, a cheese grater. They then roll into the ring.

Sharper: “Maloney and Williams getting more weapons!”

Knots: “Looking to maim each other now!”

Kim and Maloney up and Kim lunges, firing her staple gun at Maloney’s midsection. She grimaces as she just takes it and spins around and Maloney runs the cheese grater across the arm of Kim. Kim turns as she touches her arm, now bleeding. She turns back and nails Maloney with the staple gun in the forehead. Maloney stomps her foot in pain before she then runs the cheese grater along the face of Kim. Kim spins around and leans on the ropes as blood starts to come from her forehead. She turns back and Kim spins Maloney around and staples her in the ass. The crowd erupts as Maloney steps forward and then turns and Kim spins around, and sticks her butt out. Maloney instead then drops the cheese grater, grabs Kim and hits a reverse DDT into the grater. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Maloney breaks this mutual maiming moment.”

Knots: “And just dropped her on a cheese grater!”

Maloney goes for the pin.

Evans pulls her off. She turns and boots him in the face. Evans staggers back and Maloney then gets up and runs into the ropes, but just then, Leroy Adams nails her in the back with part of a loading skid. It breaks on her back as Eavan Maloney falls to a knee. Evans then runs at her and boots her in the face, knocking her to the apron. Evans looks at her before looking around. He then sees Kimberly Williams and walks over to her. Leroy, meanwhile, starts to climb up to the top rope. The crowd roars and James grabs Kim, but Kim suddenly breaks his hold and hits the Morrigan’s Wrath. James falls back. Kim falls back to the ropes. The crowd roars as Adams gets to the top rope and then Eavan Maloney stands up on the apron, only for Adams to dive off, crossbody her back through the barbed wire wrapped table. The crowd erupts. Kim steps forward, but just then, we see her pulled to the floor. The official counts Adams on top of Eavan Maloney.

The bell sounds as we see Kim thrown into the steel steps by Waylon Creek!

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and NEW SCW Underground Champion, Leroy Adams!”

Adams rolls over, pulling the barbed wire off of him and rolls over. The official turns and heads over and is handed the Underground Title. As this happens, Kim starts to get up and Waylon steps up and locks in the Canary with his left hand. Kim falls back, struggling. He presses down as the crowd looks on .Adams, unaware, slowly gets up and is handed the title. He looks at it and then looks stunned.

Sharper: “Leroy Adams just got himself a pay raise! The new Underground Champion!”

Knots: “How about that! But how about Waylon Creek! That creep is out here attacking Kim!”

Sharper: He’s got the Canary on!”

Leroy then notices this as James Evans smirks in the ring. Leroy heads around the ring. Creek notices this and stops and gets up. He then backs up and looks at Leroy Adams, who holds the Underground Championship. Adams looks at Creek as Creek turns and calmly heads to the back. Kim coughs, turning, trying to regain her breath as the scene fades to black.

We open up to a serene park. The birds can be heard singing, the sun is shining. Just then, we see a deluge of water fall onto the scene, drenching everything. There’s a silence. Then, the birds start to return. The sun never left and then.

BOOM!

An explosion is heard.

BOOM! BOOM!

Two more explosions are heard and smoke comes into the picture. We then see a man running across the scene, seemingly on fire before falling into the pond in the middle of the scene. We then see several geese squawking as people run away from them. Then, suddenly, hail starts to fall from the sky.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

More explosions before…

Voice: “KIM!”

The camera spins around to show Kimberly Williams in a control booth. She has a guilty look on her face. She turns her head as Angelica Jones and Marie Jones both look at her.

Angelica: “What are you doing?”

Marie: “Did you unleash geese?”

Kim: “Hell yeah! I like playing God!”

Kim presses buttons as we hear more explosions, before a whirring noise.

The Apocalypse logo then comes up on the screen.

“SCW presents Apocalypse, live on pay per view, Sunday, September 29, 2024.”

Marie: “Not the horses!”

Kim: “MUAHAHAHAHAAHAH! WASLEY! WE RIDE AT DAWN!”

We see people running and screaming as the scene fades to black.

“The Bogeyman” J.C. vs. Gavin Taylor vs. “The Ronin” Chris Dumont

“Whoa Is Me” by Down With Webster starts to play over the Dome at America’s Center.

The crowd erupts in a mix of cheers and boos as “All Star” Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. His nameplate coming up.

Phillips: “The following contest is a triple threat match scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit! First, from Vancouver, British Columbia, by way of Los Angeles, California, he is the All-Star Gavin Taylor!”

Gavin Taylor nods as he starts to walk to the ring. He keeps his arms extended as he walks down the rampway.

Gavin smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope. Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he waits for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor started this whole situation. He poked the bear. He annoyed JC and all of this is part of his plan to get back to the top.”

Knots: “Well one way or another. He’ll win and get a big boost, or he’ll be dead and he’ll be in heaven and that’s well…on top!”

“Wild Thing” by X plays as the crowd cheers a bit. A few moments pass before “The Ronin” Chris Dumont walks out from the back. He looks around the arena, taking it all in before starting to head to the ring. He throws his fist in the air as he does, focusing on the battleground before him. His nameplate comes up.

Phillips: “Next, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is The Ronin, Chris Dumont!”

Dumont doesn’t do much with any flair, instead focusing on Gavin in the ring and storming down the rampway. Fans cheer him as he runs down to the ring and hops onto the apron. He looks at Gavin Taylor. Taylor motions for him to get in. Dumont wipes his feet and enters before heading over to the corner, raising his fist as he does

Sharper: “Dumont all business too but for different reasons. He was collateral damage and Dumont does not like being collateral damage.”

Knots: “First everything with Twisted & Sadistic in April and May. Now, JC. He’s stepping up and we’ve seen him just have barfights with people. I don’t know if Gavin Taylor has even accidentally smashed a beer glass in a bar before!”

The lights suddenly drop, and in the silence, Ghost's "Hunter's Moon" to play with its haunting melody. The crowd erupts in cheers.

The music builds and lights flash, leading up to the chorus, signaling an arrival.

“The Bogeyman” JC steps out onto the stage, staring out at the audience and wearing a Michael Myers mask over his had, having embraced his new ghoulish persona. He watches the crowd react to him and then begins walking steadily to the ring. His nameplate comes up.

Phillips: “And finally, from East Rutherford, New Jersey, he is the Bogeyman, JC!”

The cameras follow JC as he makes the long way to the ring. He adds to the tension by taking his time as Taylor paces in the background. Dumont just watches him. JC focuses on the ring, making his way slowly to it. He enters the ring and climbs up to the middle rope, before ripping the mask off of his head and staring out at the audience. He then returns to the ring and prepares for his match. He then calmly drops down.

Sharper: “And JC, a man who came in at Taking Hold of the Flame and promptly made an impact.”

Knots: “Not the impact he wants. He wants Matthew Knox. Knox is focused on the US Title tonight. JC has been distracted by this. And Gavin Taylor even trying to take credit for helping Knox!”

Sharper: “He certainly is good at selling himself.”

Knots: “Comes with the territory. Heard it was an Ava St. Claire idea!”

The bell sounds. Gavin just smiles and steps up to JC only for JC to grab Gavin’s arm and pull him down and into a Kimura Lock. The crowd erupts as Gavin yells out in pain. He frantically kicks his feet as Dumont then runs over and stomps JC in the face once and then again and again. The third shot causes JC to let go as Gavin rolls over, clutching at his arm. JC rolls over and Dumont then nails him with a hard right and then another before kicking him in the ribs. He wrenches JC’s arm, but JC pulls him into a short-arm clothesline.

Sharper: “And this may just be a match of survival. JC is known for his dominance!”

Knots: “And the fact is that he’s pissed off. He wants Knox. Not Dumont. Not Taylor!”

Dumont rolls over and gets up and JC nails him in the ribs with a hard right and then nails him with a hard right to the jaw. He then pulls him in and throws him overhead with a belly to belly suplex. Dumont rolls through to the ropes. JC then heads to Gavin Taylor, who just puts his hand up and rolls out of the ring. JC just glares at him and then grabs Dumont and pulls him up. He knees him in the ribs once and then again and again before then turning and hip tossing him out of the corner. Dumont rolls over and starts to get up. He gets up and motions to JC to give it to him and JC runs at him and drills him with a hard clothesline. JC then goes for the pin.

Gavin enters and breaks it up before rolling out of the ring, just as Dumont kicks out. JC looks over at Gavin and then turns back to Dumont. He pulls Dumont up and then drags him up before then double underhooking him and suplexing him over. He goes for another pin.

Gavin again enters and breaks it up and exits. JC looks up and then turns and grabs Dumont and then hits a belly to back suplex. Gavin smirks and pulls himself up onto the apron, only for JC to instead turn and lunge to the apron and nails Gavin with a hard right. Gavin staggers back as JC then rolls under the ropes. Gavin runs around the ring and spins around the ringpost, JC in hot pursuit.

Sharper: “Third time wasn’t going to happen Gavin!”

Knots: “And JC wants to take Gavin out now!”

Gavin spins around and rolls into the ring. JC slides in after. Gavin runs at Dumont and quickly drops down, covering his head as Dumont lunges past Gavin and drills JC as he gets up with the Code Zero. The crowd ohs. JC falls to a knee, dazed. He drops down and Dumont goes to grab him, but Gavin grabs Dumont and throws him through the ropes, dumping him to the floor. Gavin then grabs JC and drags him up only to hit a Desperation Buzzer-Beater. He hooks the leg.

JC kicks out.

Sharper: “Only two as Gavin tried to take advantage of that Code Zero.”

Knots: “And JC dimmed from that one!’

Gavin then gets up as Dumont rolls into the ring. Gavin backs up and Dumont runs at him and nails him with a hard right and then another and another before pulling him out and hitting a short-arm clothesline of his own. Gavin pops up and rolls over and moves to the corner. Dumont follows up with a shoulder thrust to the ribs before hitting another and another and another before then grabbing Gavin and just throwing him down. Gavin rolls over and starts to get up only for Gavin to hit the Better Buzzer Beater on Dumont. The crowd ohs and boos. Dumont drops to the mat, clutching himself.

Sharper: “And the low blow, the Better Buzzer Beater.”

Knots: “All cool in this one. Triple threat. No disqualification!”

JC starts to pull himself up on the apron and Gavin walks over and grabs him, pulling him in and hits the Cubic Zirconium Cutter. He rolls JC over and hooks the leg.

JC pushes him off. The crowd roars. Gavin looks over and then turns and grabs him and stomps him in the face once and then again and again, knocking him back onto the apron. He then turns back to Dumont and grabs him before suddenly Dumont hoists him up and hits the Thrill of the Hunt. Dumont rolls back, holding himself. He then says something to himself before then walking over to Gavin who is stirring to his feet. He then scoops him up and then steps up before throwing him back and rolling through with the floatover fallaway slam.

Gavin gets his shoulder up.

Sharper: “Nearfall for Dumont who put everything into that fallaway slam. Dumont not caring for Gavin’s tactics.”

Knots: “And just think, a year ago, we remember the shortcut Lyman took. Gavin was pissed. He’s just pulling from that playbook!”

Gavin rolls over and stirs as Dumont grabs him and clubs him in the back before knees him in the chest. He then shoves him out and pulls him into a short-arm Code Zero. Gavin falls to a knee. But just then, JC re-enters, running into the ropes. He bounces off and drills both with the Dance Macabre. The crowd ohs. Dumont and Gavin fall back and into the ropes. JC winces and stretches out, annoyed. He then walks over to Gavin Taylor and drags him up. JC then pulls him into a belly to belly suplex. Gavin rolls over. Dumont crawls to the corner as JC then walks over to Gavin and pulls him up. He bends him over and then lifts him up into the Schism. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “No hesitation. Just driving Gavin into the mat! Schism!”

Knots: “And that’s that!”

JC moves to the cover.

Dumont, however, runs over and grabs JC by the waist. He then starts to hoist him up. The crowd roars as JC looks around and then looks back as Dumont deadlifts him up and then throws him back with a delayed belly-to-back suplex into a bridge.

JC gets his shoulder up.

Sharper: “My God! The strength!”

Knots: “Only got two, but JC was not expecting that!”

Dumont rolls over and JC starts to get up and Dumont hits the Code Zero on him. JC falls back into the ropes. He bounces off and then drills Dumont with a clothesline. Dumont backflips from it and lands on his stomach. He rolls away. JC shakes it off and rolls over too. He starts to get up as Gavin remains down. JC grabs at the ropes, pulling himself up. He winces and limps a bit as he walks over to Dumont and drags him up. He then pulls him in and hits a side belly to belly suplex. He rolls over and then pulls Dumont up. He drags him up and goes for a Schism on him, but Dumont manages to flip up and slide down and then hits another Code Zero. JC stumbles back. He then lunges again and goes for the Big Boot of Death. Dumont however ducks. JC then turns around and Dumont grabs his arms and wrenches them before hitting the Code Zero Championship Edition. JC falls to a knee, but just then, Gavin Taylor runs at both and hits a Gavin Taylor Lariat to both JC and Dumont. The impact to Dumont sends him out of the ring.

Sharper: “Code Zero Championship Ediiton! I don’t believe Dumont got it!”

Knots: “It’s Gavin! Gavin! Gavin! Taylor! Lariat!”

Sharper: “And Gavin coming in with the steal!”

Gavin goes for the pin on JC, hooking both legs.

JC pushes off just after three as the bell sounds. Dumont gets up on the floor and leans on the apron as Gavin rolls out of the ring. He backs up and into the entrance way, both arms up in the air.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Gavin Taylor!”

Sharper: “And with that, Gavin Taylor with another noteworthy win at Rise to Greatness, but this won’t be remembered for the gutsy performance!”

Knots: “It’s going to be remembered because he won. The All-Star finds a way!”

Dumont looks on as JC turns, looking at him too, clearly annoyed.

Sharper: “JC dominated and Dumont showed what he can do, but neither are victorious. Instead, Gavin Taylor sneaks one out, gets the win, and gets the world talking about him again!”

Gavin Taylor smiles as he looks around. His music plays throughout the stadium as the scene cuts away.

Sharper: “Now let’s go backstage where our broadcast colleague Destiny Page is standing by. Destiny?”

The scene opens backstage where Destiny Page is standing with a microphone in front of the interview area.

Page: “Thank you Adam. If you haven’t been on social media or joined us for our preview show before we went live with our main show, Syren is not here. She has not been cleared from what we have heard. Ravyn Taylor who was here has since left. Autumn Valentine also left shortly after losing to Veronica Strader in our preview show. Not a good night for Lexy Chapel and her stable of wrestlers.”

Page pauses.

Page: “Lucas Knight who texted Syren did let me know he received a response. I asked him what it was. And he just said it was private and that this could be a very serious shift in SCW depending on what follows. This is a story we will follow after Rise to Greatness, but for now, Syren is not competing at Rise to Greatness for the first time since her debut. And the result is that Kirsten Scott, Scott Reed and Polly Pingotti will face each other in a triple threat match.”

The crowd roars a bit.

Page: “Back to ringside.”

The scene cuts back to the ring.

Sharper: “Thank you Destiny for that report.”

Knots: “Wow…”

Polly Pingotti vs. “The One” Kirsten Scott vs. Scott Reed

The arena goes dark. A few moments pass.

”And the story goes…a young man will come…to save the universe from the forces of evil…

The voice dies down for a few moments before “I Will” by Eminem featuring KXNG Crooked, Royce da 5'9" & Joell Ortiz kicks in.

“And I don't think that I can stop it, here it comes…I do my best to try to block it, redrum…I've been sipping on like, vodka, head's numb...I'm blacking out, you better watch it, it's bedlam…”

The lights come back on and Scott Reed steps out from the entrance way, the crowd erupting in cheers. He looks around and scans the arena, taken a bit aback by the reaction. His nameplate comes up.

Phillips: “The following contest is a triplet threat match scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from New York City, New York, he is Scott Reed!”

“I thought I heard a voice in my head that said, "Kill"
I had no other choice that was left except fill
My pencil full of poisonous lead, the devil
He wants me to murder this beat, so I will”

Reed makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans along the way. He reaches the ring and goes up the ring steps. Going across the apron, he looks out at the crowd once again as they continue to cheer. Climbing into the ring, Reed goes to the center.

“He told me there are doubters who question my skill
They wanna put my style to the test, am I still
The best? They want the crown on my head, I said, "Chill
If you want me to murder this beat, then I will"

Reed climbs up to the top rope and points to the center of his chest, mouthing the words, ‘I will’ as the music dies down. Hopping down from the turnbuckle, he leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Reed maybe has the most to prove here. He’s felt like an afterthought when Syren came out to help Xander Valentine. Kirsten Scott even turned her attention to her. But Reed wants to prove himself.”

Knots: “Syren’s not in there. So you know how you prove yourself? You win. All three are going to look to do that. Only one can!”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot. A few seconds pass, which is when an open field is shown up on the SCW tron. A flock of birds rise up from the tall grass and fly away as the sound of a piano can be heard playing, leading into the opening of "Bird Set Free" by Sia. The moment the opening words are heard, Polly steps out from the back and stands at the forefront on the stage. She looks up at the tron to see one straggling bird rise up from the grass all by its lonesome. Polly admires the one small bird that begins to fly away now too until Sia reaches the chorus, which is when she turns around as a pair of pyros goes off on each side of the entranceway. The nearest camera catches her piercing bright green eyes as she begins to walk down the ramp and down to the ring. The nameplate comes up.

Jason Phillips: “Next, making her way to the ring, from Panguitch, Utah, she is Polly Pingotti!”

Polly does smile but only briefly as she turns her attention to the task at hand. She can hear the usual mix of cheers and boos, leaning more towards cheers than boos. She gives one full look around the arena before she slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Once inside the ring she stands right up, closes her eyes, and presents a flying motion. She opens her eyes back up and light on her feet chooses a corner of the ring to wait in. With her arms now back at her sides, her focus builds on the fight that she is about to go through.

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti just wants to break through that glass ceiling. She’s been competing against the best for months now, but just needs that win. Can this night give it to her?”

Knots: “She can try. Again, who’s going to want it more? But also, who gets lucky. It’s a triple threat. Sometimes it’s just who gets the best shot off.”

The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to boo. As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot across the stage to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.

As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...

AUS!

Pyro shoots out from the floor in front of the stage. Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott, walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey. The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey. Kirsten and her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle.

Phillips: “And finally, on her way to the ring, accompanied by the Oracle and her friend Hailey, from Your Own Personal Nightmare, The One, Kirsten Scott!”

As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up. Hailey goes into the ring, directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle rope, and The Oracle stands on the floor directly beneath Kirsten. Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, while Hailey and The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's direction as well, all signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The One." After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out across her chest, before quickly sliding into the open ropes from being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her corner. Hailey quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the outside. Both of "The One's" compatriots stand with her, advising her and talking to her, as she awaits her opponents.

Sharper: “Everyone in this match now just that one extra bit driven. Syren not here. Injury is the reason why. She is not even in St. Louis. Lexy Chapel with her.”

Knots: “And Scott, Reed and Pingotti all made their feelings felt in the preview. And if that’s the tone, this could be a hard fought one.”

Sharper: “For Syren to miss Rise to Greatness, it had to be serious. This is the first time since she came to SCW in 2009 she’s not appearing tonight.”

The bell sounds and Kirsten Scott runs at Scott Reed and catches him with a running boot to the side of the head. Reed hits hard and Scott turns and stomps him twice before Polly runs over and nails Kirsten in the back. Kirsten turns and Polly nails her with a hard right and then a forearm shot before then grabbing Kirsten and running her into the corner. Kirsten turns and Polly kicks her in the ribs once and then again before whipping her across the ring. Kirsten hits the opposite corner as Reed gets up only for Polly to run over and dropkick him back down. Reed hits the mat. Polly gets up and turns to Kirsten Scott who then nails Polly with a hard right and then another before turning and going to send her to the floor. Polly spins through, ending up on the apron. Kirsten Scott turns and goes for a hard right. Polly blocks it and then grabs Kirsten and hits a guillotine drop on the top rope. Kirsten staggers back. Polly then springboards to the top rope and goes for a crossbody, but Kirsten ducks and Polly falls into the knee of Reed.

Sharper: “And Polly went to take down Kirsten. Kirsten Scott ducked. Right into Reed’s knee.”

Knots: “We’re kicking things off hot. Hard shots. Big risks. And here we go.”

Polly rolls over in pain. Reed gets up and Kirsten nails him with a hard right and then another before she goes to fire Reed into the ropes. Reed spins through and sends Kirsten in. Kirsten bounces off and Reed hits a jumping calf kick. Kirsten hits the mat and Reed gets up and hits a flipping leg drop to the head. He goes for the pin.

Kirsten kicks out. Reed falls back. He rolls over and turns and Polly dropkicks him down. She turns as Kirsten gets up and Polly dropkicks her down. Polly gets back up and then grabs Kirsten and pulls her up and sees Scott getting up and then Polly whips her into the corner. Polly runs after and jumps up and hits a running leg lariat to the chest. She rolls down and turns around to Scott Reed who scoops her up and Polly spins through, but Reed catches her and then hits a release overhead northern lights suplex. Reed rolls over and Kirsten runs at him and hits a running knee to the side of his head. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott got all of that knee.”

Knots: “After what Kirsten and Reed have done to one another, that’s on the light side. But it does the damage.”

Sharper: “Taking Hold of the Flame – they fought through the crowd. They’ve attacked each other in the ring, backstage…”

Kirsten then grabs Reed and drags him over to the ropes.

Knots: “And I think she heard us.”

Kirsten rolls out after as Reed rolls over and Kirsten grabs him by the hair and drags him out of the ring and drives him face first into the mats. The crowd ohs. Reed rolls over, holding his face. He rolls over and Kirsten backs up before then running at him and hitting another knee to the face. Reed falls back. Kirsten then walks around and over him before turning and rolling back into the ring. She gets up and runs at Polly as she gets up and clotheslines her down. Kirsten Scott lets out a yell as the crowd boos.

Knots: “Everyone finding out what happens if you eff around with her.”

Sharper: “Reed down in a heap on the floor. And then re-entering the ring only to take Polly Pingotti’s head damn near off!”

Kirsten Scott turns as Polly rolls over and she grabs Polly by the head. She hooks her arm and then hits a vertical suplex. Kirsten holds on, swivelling her hips and starting to get back up. She drags her up and hits a second vertical suplex. She continues to hold on, swivelling her hips before getting up. Kirsten then hits a falcon arrow, completing the One by One and moving nito a pin.

Polly kicks out. Kirsten rolls back. She then waits as Polly starts to stir and looks up and Kirsten runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a Hidden Blade. Polly ducks down. Kirsten slides through. She stops and turns around and Polly kicks her in the ribs and then hits a sitout facebuster. The crowd roars as Polly rolls over.

Knots: “A Total Makeover!”

Sharper: “I don’t know if that was an intended slight, but the crowd noticed it. We did too!”

Knots: “Cover!”

Polly rolls Kirsten over and hooks the leg.

Kirsten kicks out. She rolls over and Polly gets up and drags her up before scooping her up and slamming her down in front of the corner. Polly turns and jumps to the bottom rope and then the middle rope before hitting a twisting corkscrew senton, landing on Kirsten Scott. Polly then sees Reed getting up and gets up and runs across the ring, diving through the ropes with a tope suicida! The crowd erupts.

Knots: “Reed! Stay down!”

Sharper: “Polly lands on Kirsten Scott and then launched herself at Scott Reed! Keeping him down.”

Polly rolls over and gets up. She turns and looks around and walks up the nearby steel steps and onto the apron. She steps into the ring as Kirsten Scott starts to get up and Polly runs at her and hits a running dropkick. Kirsten falls back into the corner. Polly drags her out and goes for the pin.

Kirsten gets her shoulder up. Polly rolls off and starts to get up. Kirsten stirs and Polly grabs her, elbowing her in the back of the head once and then again before then wrenching the arm. She goes for a short-arm clothesline, but Kirsten ducks under and bounces off the ropes and blasts Polly with a Yakuza kick. The crowd ohs again. Kirsten then turns and looks right at the camera before turning and grabbing Polly. She places her head between her legs. She then hoists her up and hits a piledriver. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Piledriver! Right in the middle of the ring. And if you’ve not been watching for a while. All legal!”

Knots: “Polly wishes it wasn’t!”

Sharper: “And Kirsten Scott spiking her. The cover!”

Kirsten goes for the pin.

Reed dives off and hits a guillotine leg drop to the back of Kirsten’s head. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “And Reed back! Oh! The timing!”

Reed rolls over. He gets up and Kirsten pulls himself up and lunges at Reed only for Reed to catch her and then hit an exploder suplex into the corner. The crowd ohs. Reed then turns, glancing back and hooks up Kirsten by her legs in a wheelbarrow. He then grits his teeth and hoists her up and throws her back with a wheelbarrow suplex into Polly Pingotti as she gets up, taking her down too. The crowd roars. Reed rolls over and gets up. He then grabs Kirsten and turns and whips her into the corner. Polly stirs as Reed places her head between his legs. He hoists her up for a powerbomb only to turn and throw her at Kirsten Scott! Kirsten however catches her and then turns and hits a full nelson suplex. The crowd ohs. Reed then runs at Kirsten Scott and nails her with a hard right. Kirsten fires back with one of her own. Reed nails her with a couple of shots before Kirsten shoves him back. Kirsten then runs at Scott, but Scott scoops her up and hoists her up before dropping her with the Unmasked! The crowd cheers. Reed hooks the leg.

Kirsten gets her shoulder up. Reed rolls off. He looks around and then grabs Kirsten. He slowly drags her up and then wrenches the arm. He runs to the ropes and jumps up them and spins around, but right into Polly who runs over and kicks him in the ribs. She then hooks him up and Kirsten does the same. They hoist him up and then hit a double brainbuster. The crowd ohs and Polly rolls back into a cradle, but Kirsten turns and kicks her off. Polly rolls off and gets to a knee. Kirsten runs at her with a boot, but Polly catches it. She then spins it around and hits Kirsten with a pump enziguri. Kirsten staggers back and Polly then gets up and runs past her, jumping to the top rope and diving off, landing on Kirsten’s shoulders and hitting a hurricanrana!

Kirsten kicks out. Polly falls forward. Reed rolls to the apron.

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti only gets two. A springboard hurricanrana!”

Knots: “And she’s not done though.”

Kirsten gets up and Polly hits a superkick. Kirsten falls back to the ropes. She then pulls herself up and Polly places her head between her legs. The crowd roars. She then jumps up, but Kirsten back drops her. Polly rolls over and gets up and Kirsten kicks her in the ribs. She then hoists her up onto her shoulders, but Polly elbows out of it. Polly then kicks Kirsten in the ribs before grabbing her, but Reed springboards to the top rope and hits a shooting star press into both. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “My God! Again! This time, the shooting star press off the top rope and taking both out!”

Knots: “Reed won’t just go away. Won’t give them that satisfaction!”

Reed rolls over and looks around. The crowd cheers him as the replay comes up.

REPLAY:

We see Polly kicking Kirsten Scott in the ribs before Scott Reed springboards off the top rope and hits both with a shooting star press.

Reed slowly gets up to his feet. Polly and Kirsten stir.

Reed then chops Polly. Polly staggers back. The crowd woos. He nails Kirsten with a hard right and then chops Polly again. More woos before he nails Kirsten with a hard right and then another before Reed whips her across the ring. Polly hits a drop toe hold, driving Kirsten into the middle turnbuckle. Polly then runs out and hits a running jump kick to the head of Reed. Reed falls back into the corner. Polly then grabs him and pulls him out before snapmaring him down. She exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope and Reed gets up. Polly dives off and hits the Bird Set Free. She turns and goes for the pin.

Kirsten runs over and pulls Polly off and double underhooks her before hoisting her up and hitting the One Off. The crowd ohs. Kirsten goes for the pin.

Pingotti shoots her shoulder up.

Sharper: “Pingotti kicking out the One Off! Dropped on her head. Second time this match!”

Knots: “She’s said she won’t let anything stop her if she can. If she’s still conscious!”

Sharper: “And Kirsten Scott finding that out.”

Kirsten then turns and mounts Polly nailing her with a couple of hard rights before getting up. She then sees Reed. Kirsten Scott smirks and grabs him and pulls him up and kicks him in the ribs. Reed falls to a knee and looks up at Kirsten Scott. Kirsten shakes her head and pulls him up and then hooks his head and hoists him up, but Reed spins through and lands behind her. The crowd roars as Reed then pulls her back by the head, hoisting her up and spinning around into the Buck the Corrupt. He hooks the leg.

Kirsten kicks out. Reed rolls off. He then gets up and looks at Kirsten. He runs past her as she starts to get up. He bounces off and goes for the Empires Falling, but Kirsten side steps. He spins around and turns and Kirsten hits a European uppercut. Reed falls back into the ropes, bounces off and then right up to Kirsten who hoists him up onto his shoulders. The crowd roars. Reed looks out as Polly then kicks Kirsten in the stomach. Kirsten ends over and Reed falls forward, landing on his feet and falling forward. Polly then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and going for the Head Turner on Kirsten. Kirsten also sidesteps, but Polly then rolls through. Reed turns to her and Polly hits a jawbreaker on him. He falls back and Polly turns to Kirsten who catches her and plants her with the Silence before pulling back on Polly’s head. The crowd roars. Reed then hits a running dropkick to the head of Kirsten. Kirsten rolls over and gets up and Reed runs over and goes for the Empires Falling again. Kirsten dodges and rolls him up with a school boy.

Reed kicks out. Kirsten turns and walks into Polly who manages to kick her in the stomach and hits the Polly Pop. Polly, however, leans forward, half out of it from the Silence, only for Reed to then hit Polly with the Empires Falling. The crowd ohs. Polly falls back.

Sharper: “Third time is the charm! Empires Falling!”

Knots: “Polly found someway to get the Polly Pop, but before she got the pin, there was Reed! And Reed going to cover Polly!”

Sharper: “No! Kirsten Scott!”

Reed however turns and covers Kirsten Scott, hooking the leg.

The bell sounds. The crowd roars. Reed rolls off of Kirsten Scott, looking down at her. He then gets up, having his arm raised.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Scott Reed!”

Polly stirs as Reed turns and walks over to her. He starts to lift her up. Polly, still dazed, from the Empires Falling. Reed pulls her up and Polly shoves away before falling to a knee. She winces as Reed just holds his hands up, trying to express his virtue. Polly looks up. Reed nods before looking at Kirsten Scott. He then rolls out of the ring.

Sharper: “Scott Reed pinning Kirsten Scott. That was his personal mission. But then helping Polly up.”

Knots: “She’s not on her back…”

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott is. And I don’t know if Reed just giving her a nod of encouragement or approval or something. Polly’s confused, but Reed seems to have a clear moral code and Polly did something to meet it.”

Reed heads around the ring and starts to head to the back. Polly looks at him as Kirsten Scott winces in pain.

Sharper: “Well last night, Shaun Cruze and Konrad Raab had another row. Raab entered into the battle royal to determine the next challenger to the Underground or Adrenaline Championship and Cruze took issue.”

Knots: “Yeah. He came to the ring. You see him here.”

The RTG XXI logo comes up on the screen.

LAST NIGHT:

Raab waits for Cruze as Cruze slides in. We then see Cruze hitting Raab with the Morality. Raab falls back to the ropes and Striker runs at him and clotheslines him up and over the top rope, eliminating him.

Sharper: “Cruze hit the Morality. Raab eliminated. And it didn’t stop. They fought all the way to the back.”

Cruze rolls to the floor and heads after Raab. The crowd cheers as Raab rolls over. We cut forward to see Cruze nailing Raab with a hard right. Raab staggers up the rampway. They fight up the ramp. The RTG XXI logo comes up on the screen. We hear yelling as we see Dillusion and Hiro Tanaka trying to stop Konrad Raab. Instead, Raab is blocking them as we see Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson clubbing Shaun Cruze. Cruze falls to a knee and they start to drag him over. A few other officials come into the scene.

Knots: “And Raab had revenge quickly waiting. EFN must have caught up with him and they made sure to make Cruze regret going after Raab last night. Powerbomb through the table.”

Sharper: “And they were proud of it. And Raab even left this message.”

Cruze is dragged along the concrete floor and over to the side near a table. Theron and Eriksson club him again as Raab backs up, keeping the officials and agents back. Theron and Eriksson then muscle Cruze up and turn and hit an assisted powerbomb through the table. The crowd ohs. Raab heads over as Tanaka and Dillusion run over, joined by SCW officials.

Raab: “Well Shaun…you wanted the fight. They seem to think I’m worth following!”

Raab steps back as Theron and Eriksson look at Cruze as Cruze grimaces in pain. Officials check on him as Raab, Eriksson and Theron praise each other for their good work and walk off. The RTG XXI logo comes up on the screen.

Underground Rules

The opening rifts to “You Know My Name” by Chris Cornell kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage. His nameplate comes up.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with underground rules with a thirty minute time limit. Currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, he is the Impact Player, Shaun Cruze!”

Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring. The camera cuts to a wide shot showing him walking down to the ring. As he reaches the ground, he starts high-fiving with the fans at ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the chart. He then walks to his corner, and turns, waiting for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Shaun Cruze going to have to get his game face on. As we saw, attacked by the EFN last night. And this is now Underground rules.”

Knots: “Be careful what you wish for Shaun. Why? Why not have to fight him straight up? Now the EFN can get involved!”

“Feuer Frei” by Rammstein plays over the sound system. The crowd boos. Several moments pass before Konrad Raab comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face. Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson join him. They then step forward before Konrad thrusts his mace in the air. Fire shoots out from the floor and high into the air.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Cologne, Germany, accompanied by the European Fiery Nation, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

Raab then turns and talks to Theron and then Eriksson. They trade some words before Theron and Eriksson nod. Raab stands in the entrance way, brandishing his German mace, as we se Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson storm to the ring. Shaun Cruze stands in the ring, pacing, and waiting. Theron and Eriksson then pick up their pace and run down to the ring. The crowd roars as Raab remains in the middle of the rampway.

Sharper: “And look like…Cruze disrespected him and so he has to earn his match against Cruze!”

Knots: “It’s Underground rules so this technically is okay!”

Sharper: “And Shaun may have thought just of that!”

Cruze waits as Theron and Eriksson run to the ring and slide in. The bell sounds. Cruze runs over and stomps Theron in the back several times as Eriksson gets up. He then turns and blocks a hard right hand from Eriksson and nails him with a hard right and then another before grabbing him and running him into Theron as he gets up. Eriksson bowls Eriksson over as Cruze rolls to the floor. Cruze walks around the ring and looks under the ring and quickly grabs a steel chair and a baseball bat. He places the bat on the apron and rolls in with the chair. Theron and Eriksson get up.

Sharper: “And this match has started as Cruze now has some weapons.”

Knots: “If he’s going to have to fight a war to get to Raab, he’s ready.”

Cruze then steps up and Theron steps towards Cruze only for him to nail him in the ribs with the end of the chair before taking the chair and slamming it across his back. Theron arches his back and grimaces as he falls to the mat. Cruze turns as Eriksson then tackles him down. The chair bounces away. Cruze looks up as Eriksson then nails him with a couple of hard rights before rolling off. Cruze rolls over and crawls to the ropes. He gets to them, but Eriksson runs over and kicks him in the ribs. He then clubs him in the back over and over before Cruze shoves him back. Eriksson stumbles back and plants his feet before turning back and running at Cruze who lowers his head and back drops him up and over the top rope to the floor. Cruze then steps up as Theron kicks him in the ribs and then runs him into the corner. Cruze turns and nails him with a hard right in defiance before Theron hits a European uppercut. He cracks him with another and another before then just scooping him up and spinning through with a powerslam. Cruze grimaces in pain as Theron gets up and looks at Eriksson who slowly gets up and is looking under the ring. Theron stomps Cruze a couple of times before pulling him up in the corner.

Sharper: “The EFN starting to control this. Raab just smiling in the rampway.”

Knots: “They already put him through a table yesterday. And it looks like they may do it again!”

Eriksson pulls out a table and unfolds its legs. Theron nails Cruze with a couple of hard rights and lefts before grabbing him and pulling him out. He scoops him up onto his shoulder and goes to run out with a powerslam, but Cruze slides down. Theron turns and Cruze hits an inverted atomic drop. The crowd roars. He then hits a clothesline. Eriksson finishes setting up the table on the floor before rolling into the ring. He gets up and nails Cruze with a hard right and then another before running back into the ropes. He bounces off, but Cruze scoops him up and hits a backbreaker. The crowd roars. Cruze turns and looks around.

Sharper: “And Cruze, showing off the prodigious talent!”

Knots: “Or he’s just fighting for his life against two psychopaths!”

Cruze then goes over to his baseball bat. He grabs it and starts to pull himself up, but Theron then comes up front behind and clubs him in the back. He then grabs the baseball bat and pulls it up and starts to choke Cruze with it. Theron drags him over to the corner. Eriksson fights up and then starts to head over and kicks Cruze in the stomach. Cruze falls to a knee. Eriksson kicks him again and again before Theron and Eriksson just manhandle Cruze onto the apron. They drop the bat and Theron exits to the apron. Cruze punches him in the ribs as Eriksson exits to the apron too and Cruze elbows him, but Theron then knees Cruze in the ribs. Theron and Eriksson talk briefly before Theron bends Cruze over and hoists him up for powerbomb. He then throws him forward as Eriksson catches him with a neckbreaker and drives Cruze through the table on the floor. The crowd roars. Theron looks down smiling.

Sharper: “And again! Cruze driven through a table. The EFN doing the damage!”

Knots: “Cruze was hurt last night from a double powerbomb. Now the powerbomb neckbreaker combo to the floor.”

Sharper: “And look at Raab. Raab now starting to come to the ring, dragging that mace behind him.”

Cruze remains down as Theron looks down at him on the apron. Eriksson gets up. Raab walks to the ring, dragging the mace along the rampway before hoisting it up and storming to the ring. He places it on the apron and then walks around the ring. He applauds as Theron and Eriksson look on. Raab then pats Eriksson on the back and walks past him and over to Cruze. He bends over.

Raab: “What’s that? No one should follow me? Well, Cruze, you don’t deserve to face me, but you do deserve to be put out of your misery!”

Cruze grimaces as he turns and Raab grabs him by the head and drags him out of the table and turns and runs him over to the steel steps and drives him face first. Cruze falls back as the crowd ohs.

Knots: “Good on Raab. Going to finish the job.”

Sharper: “Yeah, after the EFN have put Cruze through a table. Cruze is going to have to find every bit of that resiliency he was known for.”

Knots: “Did he put it in a box when he retired? He showed some damn heart fighting two men. But three?”

Raab grabs Cruze and pulls him up and rolls him into the ring. He then looks under the ring. He then grabs a second steel chair and places it in the ring. He rolls in after and gets up as Cruze slowly slides himself away. Raab unfolds the chair and puts it down in the middle of the ring. Raab then runs after Cruze and stomps him in the back. He then stomps him in the face as Cruze turns before stomping him in the ribs over and over. He then grabs Cruze and lifts him up. He says something to him before running him over and throwing him onto the chair, seating him on it. Cruze looks up as Raab then nails him with a hard right. The crowd ohs. He then squares him up and hits him with a snap left jab and then a hard right hand before another left. Cruze remains on the chair, dazed.

Sharper: “Cruze just taking every shot. Raab using him as a punching bag.”

Knots: “And he’s talking to him the entire time. Raab is running him down while beating the holy hell out of him.”

Raab then shakes his hand out and nails him again and again and again and again. Cruze leans back as Raab then walks around the ring before running into the ropes and bouncing off and nailing Cruze with a running European uppercut, knocking the chair back and Cruze to the mat. Cruze rolls over as Raab walks around the ring. He then walks over to the chair Cruze brought in and unfolds it. He places it down before grabbing the second chair and placing them next to each other, seat to seat. He walks over to Cruze and stomps him in the head. Cruze rolls over. Raab grabs him as the crowd chants for Cruze. Raab looks around and then grabs Cruze and lifts him up, placing him in the corner. Raab then hits a European uppercut and then a kick to the ribs before hitting another haymaker. Cruze falls against the top rope.

Sharper: “This is just turning in a beatdown.”

Knots: “Cruze has no help. He’s alone here.”

Raab then spins Cruze around and looks at him before Cruze smacks him. The crowd roars. Raab turns and Cruze smacks him again. Raab steps back and then swings, but Cruze blocks a hard right and then nails Raab with another hard right before kicking him in the ribs and hitting another hard right before Raab rakes Cruze’s eyes. He then pulls him out and hits a side belly to belly suplex. Raab then moves over to the ropes and grabs his mace as the EFN watch. Raab looks at his mace as the crowd boos.

Knots: “Cruze fighting back, but you get beaten with that, you’re not getting up.”

Sharper: “And that may be the point.”

Raab then turns and moves to Cruze who is now on his knees. Raab then looks at him and smiles before shrugging.

Raab: “Time to end this.”

Raab hoists the mace up in the air only for Cruze to low blow Raab. The crowd roars. Raab drops the mace. Raab grimaces and Cruze then gets up and hoists him up and turns and spinebusters him through the seats of the chairs. The crowd cheers some more.

Sharper: “And Cruze! Raab through the chairs!”

Knots: “There’s that fighting spirit!”

Cruze rolls over and looks around. Theron hops onto the apron and Cruze pulls himself up and nails him with a hard right. Eriksson heads around and looks under the ring for a chair. Cruze runs across the ring and bounces off and hits a running baseball slide into Eriksson, knocking him down. Cruze gets up as Raab pushes the chairs away, fighting through the pain. He gets up and Cruze kicks him in the ribs and then runs him over to the corner. Cruze grabs him and lifts him up onto the top turnbuckle. Cruze then grabs Raab, but Raab nails him with a hard right and then another. He pulls him in, but Cruze nails him with a couple of shots. Theron walks around the ring as Cruze then steps out to the apron and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle on the apron. Raab grabs at him and shifts his weight, but Cruze nails him a couple of times and hooks his head and then glances back before throwing himself off with Raab with a middle rope superplex to the floor onto Eriksson and Theron. The crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “My God! Cruze throwing caution to the wind. The superplex to the floor onto the EFN!”

Knots: “The EFN just in the wrong place, wrong time. I think Cruze was hoping to get Raab to the floor.”

The crowd roars as Cruze grimaces in pain. Theron and Eriksson are down as Raab is also in a heap.

REPLAY:

We see Cruze grabbing Raab and hooking him up before glancing back and hitting a superplex to the floor. Raab’s legs catch Eriksson and Theron before he lands on the floor. The RTG XXI logo comes up before we see the superplex from a different angle.

Cruze rolls over to his stomach, taking a few moments. Raab remains down in a heap. Eriksson fights up to his feet as Theron stirs too. Cruze then crawls over to the ring. He looks underneath and reaches around before grabbing another chair.

Cruze pulls out the chair and then throws it into the ring. He grabs another chair and does the same before grabbing a third. He rolls into the ring as Eriksson rolls into the ring trying to stop Cruze. Cruze enters the ring and gets up and throws the chair at Eriksson. Eriksson catches it, but Cruze uses this to then get him with the Morality! The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “Cruze outthinking Eriksson. Three chairs, but he was going to use them however needed and Morality, something Raab and the EFN need, dished out to Ludvig Eriksson!”

Knots: “Caught the chair and Cruze wanted just that.”

Cruze crawls over to the second chair he brought in as Theron rolls into the ring. He then runs over and clotheslines Cruze down. Theron walks around the ring as Raab stirs and Theron turns and stomps the two chairs Raab was spinebustered through. He then turns around and grabs Cruze and lifts him up. He then smacks him a few times.

Theron: “Like that, boy!”

Raab starts to get up as Theron sets Cruze up for the Blade Driver, but Cruze slips out and falls back to the ropes. Theron turns and lunges at him, but Cruze ducks a clothesline and jumps to the middle rope, diving back and hitting the CKO on Theron. Theron hits the mat and rolls out of the ring. Cruze rolls through. He then winces as and gets up as Raab rolls into the ring. Cruze turns to him and Raab grabs him by the throat, hoists him up and hits the Burninator. The crowd ohs. Raab rolls back as he looks around.

Sharper: “EFN dispatched, but Raab back in and hits the Burninator!”

Knots: “Trogdor would be proud!”

Sharper: “And Cruze planted while Raab has evil intentions.”

Knots: “When does he not?”

Raab looks around and sees all of the chairs before starting to move them into a pile. The crowd roars as Raab gets the five chairs into position. He then turns around and looks at Cruze and grabs him. He then nails him with a hard right and then another and another.

Raab: “Time for you to say goodbye!”

Raab then pulls Cruze up and spins him around. He then starts to hoist him up for the Burn-Blooded Killer Move. Raab moves back to be in position, but Cruze kicks his legs and backflips through. The crowd erupts as Raab turns around and Cruze hits the Morality. Raab staggers back, bounces off the ropes and then Cruze scoops him up again and jumps up and hits the C5 into the pile of chairs!

Sharper: “First a taste of Morality and then the C5! C5 into the chairs!”

Knots: “Talk about that for a taste of your own medicine!”

Cruze winces and reaches forward and hooks the leg, pinning Raab in the pile of chairs.

The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Cruze lets go and rolls away from Raab and back onto the canvas and off the chair.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Shaun Cruze!”

Cruze winces and slowly rolls over.

Sharper: “You have to wonder if the message was sent! Cruze playing in Raab’s own game and surviving!”

Knots: “And driving him into a pile of chairs. He’s out. Eriksson and Theron stirring on the floor. And Cruze gets revenge for Impact Media, and for everyone who believes SCW deserves better than what Raab is selling.”

Cruze slowly starts to get up as his music plays throughout the arena. The official raises his arm as the crowd cheers. Cruze looks around and then walks over to the ropes and leans on them. He glances back at Raab who is still down on the pile of chairs. Cruze turns back and glances at him before then turning and looking around the stadium. He then nods as he hears the cheers before dropping down and rolling to the floor. He walks over to the front row and over to Angyalka Cruze who is waiting there. He kisses her before walking past and walking along the ringside area, high-fiving fans before going to the entrance way.

Sharper: “One last successful mission for Cruze in SCW!”

Cruze turns and starts to head to the back as the scene cuts away.

Up on the screen comes a side-by-side shot of Selena Frost looking at the SCW World Championship on the left; on the right, is Josh Hudson. He takes a moment before turning to his bag and starting to lay out his gear. Bree Lancaster walks over and rubs his back.

Sharper: “There you see the World Champion, Selena Frost. Her opponent tonight, Josh Hudson. Both getting ready for their main event clash later today.”

Knots: “Deanna is going to be out here in a moment, but no one else with Selena. Bree lost the Adrenaline Title. But still with Josh. That’s love, I guess.”

Sharper: “Support there and also I’m sure Bree, given her recent issues with Selena, is also hoping to see Selena dethroned. There will be a celebration in St. Louis if she walks no longer the champion for the third straight year at this event.”

The two scenes continue to develop for a few seconds longer before we return to the Dome.

“The Raven” Matthew Knox vs. Deanna Frost
SCW United States Championship

The houselights cut out. The crowd roars. A few moments pass before a single Raven cries out soon joined by another, then another until the cries of an entire unkindness fill the house sound system. Soon broken by "Hell Broke Luce" by Tom Waits cuts through. The light return, coming up a dull blue as a single white strobe light pulses in time to the song's percussion. Standing in the middle of that pulsing light, back to the ring, stands Matthew Knox adorned in his ring gear and a sleeveless hoodie.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a sixty minute time limit and is for the SCW United States Championship! First, the challenger, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, he is the Raven, Matthew Knox!”

Arms outstretched like a bird in flight he pivots on a heel and begins making his way to the ring. Pyro shoots out behind him all over the stage. The nameplate comes up as the camera follows him down to the ring. He reaches the ring and slides under the bottom rope. He then picks a corner to charge and leaps upon to scream the audience into a frenzy. He takes a lap around the ring, before kneeling in a corner and patiently waiting for the ringbell to sound.

Sharper: “Matthew Knox came into SCW looking for competition and he picked Deanna Frost because she was the longest reigning champion. As he said, you want to make an impact, you go after who’s been most dominant.”

Knots: “And despite what happened last night, how are you holding up.”

Sharper: “I’m fine.”

Knots: “Damn! Well, despite what happened last night, we know one thing. Deanna Frost won’t go down without a fight.”

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. The music plays for a few moments before, from the back curtain, out walks Deanna Frost, her fall leaves following her via the screens behind her and at her feet!

Standing before the crowd, the redhead is dressed in black wrestling pants and matching vest, with red claw marks lining the legs and back. What stands out the most, however, is the red mane that runs over and around her shoulders and down her front, appearing like a lion’s mane! The US Championship sits around her waist.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Manhattan, she is the SCW United States Champion, The “Red-Maned Lioness,” Deanna Frost!"

Hearing her name, Deanna looks up towards the ring, a wide smile forming on her face. With one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the redhead jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring!

Sharper: “Taking on the name the Red-Maned Lionness – some fans may not realized but for Deanna, it’s a very personal thing. She sees it as how she sees herself. And with her being separate, professionally, from Selena Frost, her wife, she hadn’t taken on a new moniker. After surviving Enigma last night, and facing Matthew Knows, the Red Maned-Lioness faces The Raven.”

Knots: “Just have to hope that Knox isn’t a poacher!”

On the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to normal. She removes her ‘mane’ and sets it aside as she stands in her corner. Hollinsworth walks over and Deanna hands him the SCW United States Championship. He holds it over his head as the SCW US Championship logo comes across the screen.

Matthew Knox looks at Steve Hollinsworth as he hands the title off to Jason Phillips. Phillips leaves the ring. Deanna glares at Knox as Hollinsworth asks Knox if he’s ready. Knox nods. Hollinsworth checks on Deanna. She nods. He calls for the bell. The bell sounds. The crowd roars as the two competitors step out and circle briefly before locking up in the middle of the ring. Quickly, Knox ducks down and around and takes Deanna over with a Greco-Roman takedown. He spins through to a front face lock. Deanna fights a moment and rolls out to her back. She then turns to go and grab Knox, but Knox pulls away and smacks her on the head as he gets up. Deanna gets up and then just tells him to just punch her to get over it. Knox shrugs and goes to strike her, but Deanna goes for a double leg takedown. Knox smirks as Deanna moves to a side headlock. He rolls her over onto her back.

She rolls off and holds on. Both get up to their feet, Deanna still keeping the hold on. Knox then pulls her to the ropes and fires her off. She bounces off and Knox shoulders her down. He steps forward as Deanna slowly gets up.

Sharper: “Early on, Knox showing why he’s been successful so many places.”

Knots: “Almost enjoying himself in there. Smirking, laughing. That’s also going to get under Deanna’s skin.”

Sharper: “As if she needs more.”

Deanna gets up and Knox grabs her arm and wrenches it. He then jerks on the arm. Deanna winces. She reaches up and Knox jerks on it again. He then elbows her in the shoulder. Knox then flips her over to the mat and knees her in the shoulder. Deanna reaches around as Knox snaps at Deanna.

Knox: “Just end it now. You can go back to your big girl problems!”

Deanna moves herself over, getting her knees under her. Knox holds on and then both get up. Deanna then ducks under Knox’s arm and twists out before forearming him in the jaw. She forearms him again and again. Knox falls to the ropes. Deanna goes to whip him across. Knox spins through and sends her in. Deanna bounces off and Knox hits a back elbow. Deanna hits the mat and Knox then dives onto her for the lateral press.

Deanna kicks out. Knox gets up and Deanna gets to her feet and Knox kicks her in the ribs. Knox then forearms her in the jaw before hitting a back elbow. Deanna staggers to the corner. Knox follows up and hits another back elbow before another and another. Hollinsworth warns Knox, starting the count, but instead, Knox whips Deanna across the ring. Deanna hits the opposite corner. Knox runs after. Deanna gets a boot up. Knox staggers out and turns around and Deanna runs out and hits a Lou Thesz Press. She nails him with a series of hard right hands. She then gets up and bounces off the ropes and hits a running knee drop. She rolls through and dives onto Knox.

Knox kicks out. Deanna rolls off. Knox starts to get up.

Sharper: “And Deanna with some fire. Knox caught twice in the head. And now the champion, firing back!”

Knots: “She knows that she’s got hit what she’s thinking. Knox is that good.”

Deanna chops Knox in the chest. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. She then grabs him by the head and elbows him in the back. Knox stumbles over to the ropes. Deanna then heads over and kicks him in the ribs once and then again and again and again. Knox falls through the ropes and to the apron. He holds on and Deanna runs across the ring. She bounces off and Knox lunges and hits a hard right on the rebound, preventing what she had in mind. Knox enters the ring and then runs over and hits a running knee lift. Deanna falls back. Knox goes for the pin.

Deanna kicks out. Both get up and Knox hooks her up and hits a snap suplex. Knox sits up and then looks around before grabbing Deanna and drags her up to her feet. He then moves her into the corner. He grabs her by the head and knees her once and then again, but on the third, Deanna blocks it. She holds onto his knee and Knox struggles. Deanna pushes him out a bit before then Deanna counters with a dragon screw leg whip. Knox rolls through to the ropes.

Sharper: “Using the knees against him. Deanna countered. The leg lace.”

Knots: “And that could tweak something.”

Sharper: “And Deanna has something else in mind!”

Knox gets up and leans on the ropes only for Deanna to hit a dropkick, sending him up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd ohs as Knox rolls over. (1) He stirs and slowly gets up. Deanna rolls out of the ring. (2) She walks around the ring and Knox gets up and Deanna runs at him and clotheslines him down. (3) Knox turns and stirs as Deanna heads over and stomps him in the chest once and then again, using the nearby announce table for added leverage by grabbing onto it. (4) She then steps off and Knox rolls over. Deanna grabs Knox and pulls him up and rolls him into the ring. Deanna grabs at the ropes and pulls herself onto the apron. She then grabs the top rope and hits a slingshot elbow drop to Knox’s sternum. The crowd ohs. Deanna goes for the pin.

Knox kicks out. Knox rolls over and stirs as Deanna gets up. She follows up and elbows him in the back of the head. Knox staggers forward. Deanna runs forward and elbows him again. Knox turns to the ropes. Deanna then pulls him in and hits a northern lights suplex into a bridge.

Sharper: “Northern lights! And into a bridge!”

Knox kicks out. Deanna rolls off. Knox rolls over and Deanna runs up behind him. She goes for an Okana roll.

Knox kicks out and Deanna falls forward. Both get up and Knox ducks under a clothesline attempt only for Knox to jump to the middle rope and dive back, hitting a springboard cutter. The crowd ohs. Knox turns and hooks the leg.

Deanna gets her shoulder up. Knox rolls over to his side. He then gets up.

Sharper: “Knox with the counter there. Knowing where he was and Deanna had no challenge.”

Knots: “Sometimes you just know it’s going to happen and hope you land the right way. That was what Deanna was hoping for there!”

Deanna slowly stirs and Knox grabs her, dragging her up and hitting another snap suplex. Knox gets up as Deanna sits up. Knox then grabs her again and pulls her in and hooks her by the head. He hoists her up and holds her up in a hanging position. The crowd roars a bit as he holds her up for several moments before falling back with a hanging vertical suplex. Knox floats over for the pin.

Deanna gets her shoulder up. Knox gets up and hits an elbow drop for good measure. He gets up and walks around the ring as Deanna rolls over and moves to the ropes. Knox then runs over and hits a jumping calf kick to her back. Deanna falls to the middle rope. Knox steps over and leans on her back. He starts to sit on it, choking her on the middle rope.

Knox steps off and then runs across the ring. He bounces off and jumps up and goes to land on her, but Deanna moves out of the way. Knox hits the ropes and falls back. He rolls over and starts to get up and Deanna then grabs him and rolls through with the rolling snapmare. She turns and hooks the leg.

Knox kicks out. Deanna rolls off as Knox starts to get up and turns around to her only for Deanna to kick him in the ribs and hit the Spring Fling. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Spring Fling. Deanna didn’t hold up. Didn’t hesitate!”

Knots: “Knox may have the experience. Deanna right now is just fighting for herself, for her title reign.”

Sharper: “And right now, that gives her the brief advantage. No cover though.”

Deanna rolls away from Knox as Knox winces in pain. Deanna then runs to the ropes and jumps to the middle rope, hitting a lionsault. She hooks the leg.

Knox gets his shoulder up. Deanna looks up and then nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Deanna gets up and walks around the ring. Knox slowly stirs and Deanna runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting another running knee drop. Knox rolls over, holding his head. He then staggers up and moves to the corner. Deanna follows up and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle, mounting him and nailing him with repeated right hands. She then jumps down and goes to whip him across, but Knox spins through and sends her in hard chest first. Deanna hits hard and staggers back into Knox who hits a bridging German suplex.

Deanna rolls her shoulder off the mat. Knox, however, holds on and then uses this to go for her arms. He tries to lock in the cattle mutilation. Deanna however starts to shimmy herself towards the ropes. Knox keeps trying to get the arms locked and Deanna moves closer and closer to the ropes before moving her leg under the bottom rope.

Knox lets go and rolls away. He then starts to get up. Deanna grabs at the ropes.

Sharper: “Knox was looking for the cattle mutilation and potentially making Deanna give up in front of the world here.”

Knots: “And Deanna may have heart. She likes to say true grit. But sometimes you need the skill to get out of a hold and Deanna’s strength has never been technical wrestling.”

Deanna slowly gets up and Knox gets up and then hits a spinning back kick to the ribs of Deanna. Deanna winces. Knox then hits a shoot kick. Deanna pops up and hits the ropes. Knox then jumps up and hits a jumping shoot kick to the head. Deanna hits the mat. Knox then hooks the leg.

Deanna kicks out. She rolls over and starts to get up. Knox then turns and grabs her and pulls her up before hooking her up for an exploder. Deanna however elbows out of it and then spins around Knox and into a school boy.

Knox kicks out. Both get up and Knox attempts the Dead, and Lovely, but Deanna ducks. Both spin around and Deanna kicks him in the ribs before grabbing his head and hitting a swinging neckbreaker. Knox winces.

Sharper: “Neckbreaker and Deanna buys herself a moment.”

Knots: “She needs more than a moment now. She needs a kill shot!”

Knox rolls over and grabs his head and neck. He grabs at the ropes, using them to get up and Deanna stops her breather, running behind Knox, grabbing him in a waistlock and hitting a release German suplex. Knox ends up on his stomach. Deanna rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Knox just gets his shoulder up. Deanna rolls off and looks up. She runs her hand through her hair. She then starts to get up. Deanna walks around the ring as Knox slowly rolls over and Deanna runs at him and hits a basement dropkick to the side of his head. He rolls over. Deanna then turns and runs across the ring. She bounces off and then hits a somersault before jumping up and hitting a rolling thunder. Deanna rolls back.

Knots: “Where the hell did that come from?”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but Deanna finding something to keep the pressure on.”

Knox holds his ribs and gets up and Deanna grabs him and hits a second Spring Fling. She goes for the pin.

Knox shoots his shoulder up again. Deanna rolls off. She then looks around and starts to get up as Knox turns and crawls over to the ropes. He then starts to get up and Deanna watches him. Knox then turns around and Deanna goes for the Burnout, but Knox spins out of the way. Deanna turns to him and Knox jumps up and hits the Dead, and Lovely, knocking Deanna back and through the ropes to the apron.

Sharper: “Burnout missed, but the Dead and Lovely didn’t.”

Knots: “Deanna on the apron. Knox needs her back in the ring.”

Sharper: “He’s knows that. I know he knows that.”

Deanna slowly gets up and Knox then jumps up and hits a straight kick, knocking her off the apron and down to the floor. The crowd ohs. (1) Deanna rolls over, holding her head. The official goes to the floor quickly to check. He checks on her and Knox runs into the ropes, but the crowd erupts as we see JC running over, having come from the crowd, and grabs Knox and pulls him down to the floor. Knox slides down and spins around and JC drills him with the Big Boot of Death. Knox hits the floor. JC grabs him and rolls him back into the ring. He then drops down to sit next to the ring as Deanna nods and waves off the official. He gets up. He notices Knox down before turning back to Deanna. (2)

Sharper: “Knox had Deanna down. Deanna landed hard. The official went to see if she was unconscious as that would end the match outright. And JC saw his moment!”

Knots: “Knox had something in mind, but unwittingly, JC saw it coming and got him!”

Sharper: “He’s down. Deanna is on the floor! She doesn’t know.”

Deanna slowly crawls to the ring. (5) She grabs the ring skirt and pulls herself up. (6) She rolls into the ring. Knox slowly stirs, starting to get up, holding his jaw. Deanna gets up and winces and gets to her feet. She spins around as Knox turns and walks towards her, only for Deanna to hit the Burnout. The crowd ohs. Deanna Frost goes for the pin.

The bell sounds.

Sharper: “And Deanna Frost retains! She survives Rise to Greatness weekend!”

JC pulls himself up and rolls over to his feet. He looks into the ring.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and STILL SCW United States Champion, Deanna Frost!”

The official is handed the US Title and turns back, noticing JC is at ringside. He turns and hands Deanna the title. Deanna takes it and looks at it. She takes a few deep breaths before starting to get up and falling into the corner. Knox remains down.

Knots: “And look at the satisfaction on the face of JC! He hates Knox and he got his hands on him.”

Sharper: “Knox had Deanna. Could be champion right now. We’ll never know. Deanna still may not know what happened. But she’s still US Champion. And will leave St. Louis with that title belt!”

Deanna gets up and holds the title over her head.

Knots: “And from one title match to another.”

Sharper: “World Tag Team Championship on the line next. Twisted & Sadistic, Light in the Darkness and Team Desire to meet in an elimination triple threat. One team will win and leave as champions!”

The Rise to Greatness XXI logo comes up on the screen.

“Clubbed to Death” by Rob Dougan plays as a black and white video plays, showing a shot of Light in the Darkness before showing a shot of Twisted & Sadistic. We then cut to shots of the two teams fighting. Shots of Amelia Blythe and Glory Braddock trading European uppercuts is followed by shots of Blythe German suplexing Braddock. We then see Brittany Lohan and Glory Braddock hitting a Samoan Drop/Prankster’s Paradise combo on Blythe before showing Lohan catch Luz as she tries a handspring into a spinebuster. Shots of them hitting the Hell on Earth on Luz before showing Twisted & Sadistic victorious.

Phillips: “Light in the Darkness has been eliminated!”

Sharper: “And the gas tank fell to E.”

CHBK: “An impressive run, but now Twisted & Sadistic are the team to beat.”

We then cut to images of Twisted & Sadistic facing Dark Fantasy, shots of Light in the Darkness with them too, before showing them each trading wins and then cutting to show Dark Fantasy facing Light in the Darkness at Body, Heart, and Soul. Ravyn rolls over and gets up. Luz then runs at her. Ravyn however goes for a hip toss, but Luz spins through and sends her up and over. The crowd roars. Blythe rolls over and stirs as Syren reaches out. She stirs as Luz then staggers over and Blythe grabs Syren. The official tries to get Luz out of the ring as Blythe then grabs Syren and pulls her up, but Syren shoves her back. Luz then sees Blythe hitting the ropes and she runs over and jumps up as Luz lunges and they hit the Wisteria Waltz. Ravyn, however, on the floor, pulls herself up at the barricade, right by Glory and Lohan and just as she turns to the ring. Lohan grabs her and spins her around and grabs her by the head and runs her along the barricade before throwing her into the barricade. The crowd ohs as Blythe covers Syren. The official unaware.

Sharper: “Light in the Darkness. Luz sensed it! Wisteria Waltz!”

Knots: “Hey! Hey! Look!”

Sharper: “Lohan! Brittany Lohan just manhandling Ravyn Taylor?!”

Glory even looks stunned at Brittany as Brittany steps back. Chapel yells out as the official counts.

The bell sounds and the crowd cheers.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, and STILL SCW World Tag Team Champions, Light in the Darkness!”

We see Light in the Darkness celebrating before showing Twisted & Sadistic challenging Light in the Darkness on the next Breakdown. Lohan enters the ring, but the official tries to get her back. Blythe then hits a European uppercut shot on Lohan. Lohan falls back and Blythe turns and goes to exit, but Braddock gets up and jumps up and hits a dropkick to the back of Blythe’s head. Blythe falls through to the floor. Braddock turns around and Luz runs at her and forearms her and then again before spinning her around. Luz looks at her and then jumps up and goes for the Lights Out, but Lohan runs up behind her and hooks her arms. Glory stumbles forward and into the corner. Lohan hoists Luz up. The crowd erupts as Glory then turns and springboards to the top rope and dives off, with Twisted & Sadistic hitting Luz with the Hell on Earth. The crowd ohs. Braddock turns and dives onto Luz.

Sharper: “Hell on Earth! Hell on Earth!”

Lohan turns as Blythe tries to breaks it up, but Lohan dives onto her.

The crowd erupts and Braddock rolls off of Luz, ecstatic. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, and NEW SCW World Tag Team Champions…Brittany Lohan and the newest Supreme Champion, Glory Braddock, Twisted and Sadistic!”

We then cut to Retribution. Braddock then turns and runs across the ring. She bounces off and dives through the ropes and into both Ravyn and Syren. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Braddock takes down Dark Fantasy! Through the ropes! Suicide dive!”

Knots: “Braddock set it up and knocked it down!”

Braddock rolls over and gets up. She then grabs Ravyn and slowly pulls her up and rolls her into the ring. Ravyn rolls over as Braddock turns only for Blythe to run around and jump off the steel steps and throw herself at Braddock, tackling her down. The crowd roars. Luz rolls to the apron, slowly recovering as the crowd looks on. Ravyn stirs as Lohan slowly does too. Lohan gets up as Ravyn starts to pull herself up. Lohan then walks over to Ravyn and grabs her by the hair. She jerks her up, but Ravyn suddenly counters with the Evolutionary Synthesis. Lohan falls back and into the LITD corner. Luz reaches up and tags in. Lohan steps up as Ravyn gets up and runs at her and hits the Bust of Pallas. She then turns and throws Lohan down, but Luz climbs to the top rope. Ravyn goes for the pin.

Luz hits the Ilumina la Noche onto Ravyn. The crowd ohs. Ravyn rolls over to her back from the impact. Chapel starts yelling out as Luz turns and dives onto Ravyn, hooking the legs.

The crowd roars. Luz rolls off. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, and NEW SCW World Tag Team Champions…Light in the Darkness!”

We then cut to images of Twisted & Sadistic upset, before showing them attacking the Phantom Troupe, Cowgirls from Hell, Body, Heart and Soul and other teams backstage. We see them winning the chaotic six way tornado match, before showing shots of Light in the Darkness trying to stop Cowgirls from Hell, Striker & Dumont or others from attacking them. Then static.

“Katie Steward Presents…”

“A Plot Twist…”

Majestic music plays as we open up to see Team Desire challenging Light in the Darkness on Breakdown. Katie gets up and grabs her and pulls her up before nailing her with a forearm shot and then another. Katie then turns as Amelia re-enters and hits a European uppercut. Katie falls back and rolls through. Amelia then backs up as Luz then turns to her. Luz waits and Amelia exits. Luz tags her in. Amelia enters as Gigi slowly stirs. Luz then runs across the ring and bounces off. Amelia runs into the ropes and bounces off the other side. Gigi then drops down as Luz and Amelia stop each other when going for the Wisteria Waltz. Katie then lunges and throws herself at Luz, crossbodying her down. Amelia turns a bit from the impact. Gigi then rolls her up.

The bell sounds. The crowd erupts as Gigi lets go as Amelia rolls over and Gigi turns and looks at Katie who looks stunned.

Phillips: “Here are your winners…and NEW SCW World Tag Team Champions…Katie Steward and Gigi Steward, Team Desire!”

Katie Steward lunges for Gigi and hugs her daughter. The crowd erupts as “Sweet but Psycho” plays throughout the arena. Amelia looks over disappointed as Luz slides back to the ropes. The crowd looks on as pyro shoots out of the ringposts and sparks go off above the ring. Katie and Gigi continue their embrace before they’re presented with the SCW World Tag Team Championship.

Sharper: “History has been made tonight in Miami. Katie Steward debuted in SCW back in 2005, almost to this date…nineteen years later, she is a Supreme Champion. She has held every title she could!”

Knots: “And Gigi got the win for her. The Stewards got it done!”

Shots of Katie Steward holding the Women’s, US, Underground, Television, Adrenaline, and World Championships before showing shots of Katie Steward holding the Goddess Gauntlet, riding in on a white horse before defeating Sienna Swann, and then showing Katie Steward celebrating with the SCW World Tag Team Championship. We then cut to a shot of Katie Steward on the stage at her Celebration of Life.

Katie: “After nineteen long years…”

Katie looks down at the World Tag Team Championship around her waist.

Katie: “I have done it. I have held every title I could have. And to look back at what I have accomplished…Seven time Women’s Champion, first woman as World Champion…first all female World Championship match. Underground Championship, US, TV, Adrenaline….And now Tag Title.”

Katie smiles. The crowd cheers.

Katie: “It’s a shame that Light in the Darkness had to come and face fate. I know you and Twisted & Sadistic have had their history…but as we said two weeks ago…I…and Gigi…we are directing this story. And that was the first plot twist and this takes us back to Rise to Greatness last year!”

We then see a shot of The Stewards facing Twisted & Sadistic at Rise to Greatness XX. We see Glory Braddock countering the Platinum Blonde into a school boy and defeating Team Desire. Katie is then heard again.

Katie: “You, Glory, you set yourself against us. One of us was going to get our opportunity. Twisted & Sadistic beat Team Desire at Rise to Greatness. Well the rematch is here and a Hollywood ending is going to happen. A year in the making…we now enter as champions and we will win!”

We then cut to see Light in the Darkness disappointed in the ring.

Luz: “Twice in a row, we’ve lost before that big match. Lost the titles in Breakdown matches…both crowning a supreme champion. We’re not ready to be champion again.”

Amelia: “And so…we wanted to…we realize we need a penance and to prove to ourselves….We want a new condition placed on us. We wanted to beat everyone on the roster…before we get another shot.”

We then see CHBK standing across from Blythe and Luz.

CHBK: “This is why you’re here in this locker room, acting like you did something wrong that deserve a massive penance. YOU LOST. Get the hell over it! You’re one of the top tag teams in PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING. And I want THAT showcased at Rise to Greatness. Not your self-pity. So…right now, I have a contract. For Rise to Greatness…Team Desire defending against Twisted & Sadistic…and Light in the Darkness!”

CHBK looks at Luz and Amelia.

CHBK: “I still have a problem with how Glory and Brittany did, even if I may have done the same thing back in the day…but they jumped through the hoops I set up. They are being rewarded if you don’t step up. They even ran you ragged by encouraging you and putting themselves in circumstances that required you to join my team to keep the order. You don’t think that played a role, even if you’ll never admit it, in what happened last week.”

We see shots of Light in the Darkness trying to stop the Dangerous Minds or Cowgirls from Hell from attacking Twisted & Sadistic backstage and at ringside.

CHBK: “I think you should take some time to think about it. Because I’m not going to complicit in watching one of the bright young teams in SCW and in professional wrestling throw it away because of a crisis in confidence!”

Blythe: “We are human. And it is something on one hand we’re happy to be a part of the moment, just we’re not pleased, as competitors of being on the wrong side. Twice this year, two competitors earned the Supreme Championship title by defeating us. Glory Braddock…and Katie Steward.”

Luz: “And with Braddock and her partner, Brittany Lohan…we were on the collision course to finishing it all. One team would enter. One team would win.”

Amelia and Luz look at one another.

Amelia: “And CHBK has a point. We were helping them fight their fight. And that took a lot out of us. But we’re not done.”

Luz: “CHBK…sign that contract, but with one change….Team Desire, Twisted & Sadistic…you will be joined by Light in the Darkness at Rise to Greatness! But…we want it to remove ANY doubt. No more excuses. And we want this to be definitive! The winner can claim they are the bet of the three on that night. We want it to be a three way dance…elimination rules.”

Luz and Amelia look at one another again.

Luz & Amelia: “May the best team win!”

We cut to show shots of Twisted & Sadistic in action.

Glory: “This time, elimination rules. You have to outlast each team. No what could have been. We can’t claim we didn’t lose. No…the team that wins, it can claim it is the best. And no better way to end this story than with us, Twisted & Sadistic, the team that has survived every challenge surviving in the end. Sorry, Amelia, Luz, Katie, Gigi. I respect you all, but we’re not walking away defeated.”

Lohan: “Light in the Darkness…Team Desire. You need to beat us. And that’s not happened yet.”

We then cut to triumphant shots of Katie and Gigi Steward.

Katie: “Remember…I’m directing this movie. I directed its plot twist…We’re here.”

Katie: “And that’s not changing. Nineteen years, I’ve waited for this moment and the movie is going to end when I, the director, yells cut. Gigi and I are back at the top, where we belong, and while Twisted & Sadistic and Light in the Darkness want to send us back down so they can finish their fight, we’re going to keep playing spoiler. It’s a different movie. One that started a year ago and one that we’ll finish. They…they had the subplot. But Team Desire, we’re going to rise…we’ll rebound and we’ll show why we’re the main attraction. Plus…we look good in gold!”

Elimination Rules

The opening riff to “Best of Both Worlds” by Van Halen begins to play. Glory Braddock and Brittany Lohan emerge from behind the curtain simultaneously. The fans cheer while Glory goes from one end of the stage to the other, playing to the crowd and getting them into it. Lohan, meanwhile, continues her march to the ring, ignoring the fanfare. Pyro shoots out as Braddock remains on the stage.

Phillips: “The following contest is a triple threat elimination match for the SCW World Tag Team Championship, scheduled for a one hour time limit. First, the challengers, they are the team of the British Bombshell Glory Braddock and the War Machine Brittany Lohan, they are Twisted & Sadistic!”

“Something reached out and touched me
Now I know all I want
I want the best of both worlds
And honey I know what it's worth
If we could have the best of both worlds
We'd have Heaven right here on Earth”

Braddock springs towards the ring, running down the rampway, catching up with Lohan in time to slide in just barely ahead of her underneath the bottom rope. Lohan enters the ring the traditional way. Brittany remains stoic in the center of the ring while Glory again plays to the crowd, going to each of the four corners and raising her arms high in the air, drawing cheers from the fans. Braddock then rejoins Lohan in the center of the ring as the music dies down.

Sharper: “Lohan all business. She has one goal. Regain the titles. Glory Braddock, same thing. One goal. Retain the titles. They’ve said they’re the best this past year. They make their claim tonight.”

Knots: “Won the titles, lost them, but never directly. You want to walk out tonight, you have to beat everyone. No doubts!”

The feed suddenly fades out from the arena, the buzz of the fans lingering for a tiny bit before that, too, fades to silence. We stall on a black screen for a moment before we suddenly see black and white footage of a younger Amelia Blythe, walking to the ring for the very first time in a British promotion as a clip from its commentators talks about how she's the prodigy of the Blythe family, destined for greatness. This then cuts to another black and white clip of a younger La Pequeña Luz doing the same in a Mexican promotion as the Spanish from the commentary team talks about how she's following in the footsteps of her recently departed father. In rapid succession, we jump back and forth between clips of each woman fighting hard in the ring and earning success as we hear epic music begin to ramp up with each accomplishment... up until we see the two of them staring each other down at the start of a match against one another, and this is when color begins to seep into the footage. From here, the music intensifies as it now runs through a montage of even more successes, both solo and together, as we see Amelia and Luz climb the proverbial ladder until we begin to recognize the clips from their time in SCW, the color becoming more and more vibrant until we pause on a shot of them holding the SCW World Tag Team Championship high for the very first time after defeating Dark Fantasy, which slowly fades into their second time winning the titles after overcoming both Dark Fantasy and Twisted & Sadistic. This clip ultimately fades away along with the music.

“You're not the best tag team in SCW today.”

The voice of Glory Braddock suddenly greets our ears before we see a flash of the night Twisted & Sadistic ended their first reign.

“Your fate is not to stand with the brightest stars in the business.”

The voice of Katie Steward follows this, along with a flash of Team Desire ending reign number two.

“You're too nice for the wrestling business.”

The voice of CHBK echoes as we see Luz and Amelia caught in the middle of the fighting between Dark Fantasy and Twisted & Sadistic, followed by a montage of their efforts to maintain order all to ensure a fair match with Twisted & Sadistic down the line before it fades to black again.

“...we're not good enough...”

Luz and Amelia are heard speaking in tandem as we slowly fade to a shot of them sitting together on a bench on what looks like an old, run down gym, their heads down as they silently beat themselves up over the failures that hang over their heads. Every now and then, we see a brief cut to a failure for one or both of them, their words repeating every time, before cutting back to the two of them as they slowly look more and more like they're on the verge of panic attacks, Luz clutching at her mask and Amelia gripping her biceps tightly as new music begins to intensify in tandem with a rapidly-increasing heartbeat, unnerving anyone watching before it suddenly cuts to silence just in time to hear...

“Bullshit.”

At the sound of that, Luz and Amelia suddenly look up in surprise, the shot cutting to their point of view as we see several figures standing in front of them, some of which are recognizable to fans of promotions beyond SCW but all clearly important in some fashion to Amelia and Luz.

“So someone else made history at your expense... big deal, just return the favor!”

“You two have been a bigger inspiration than perhaps anyone on the SCW roster.”

“Every time you set foot in that ring, you show those fans a side of wrestling that many have forgotten about.”

“You've accomplished so much, and not once have you ever forgotten who you are while doing so.”

“You've been told you're too nice for the business, yet you've still fought your way to the top of the mountain.”

“No need to put so much pressure on yourselves, not when you've proven you already deserve to be among the best.”

“You've both overcome so much, and this is only the beginning.”

While not all of them speak, they all hold their hands out on top of one another as those who do speak say their piece, the words often overlapping one another, but the message is crystal clear as they all smile down at the girls.

“You are good enough.”

As they speak in unison and more uplifting music begins to play, Luz and Amelia look stunned, glancing at one another, before taking deep breaths and placing their hands on top of the pile, firmly stating words that echo throughout the arena as they rise to a stand.

“We ARE good enough... we DO belong here... we are the LIGHT that guides others through the darkness, and we WILL NOT be snuffed out! This is OUR time, OUR chance, OUR moment... hear our song... heed our words...”

At that, the feed suddenly cuts to black again, Luz and Amelia's words echoing in the darkness. All of a sudden, we're greeted with the curious visual of what looks like a cassette tape being inserted into one of those old portable cassette players with all the accompanying sounds, the label on the cassette reading “The Light In The Darkness.” After we hear what sounds like the play button being pressed, we watch as the tape looks like it starts to play before the visual glitches, suddenly transitioning to what looks like a colorful 80s style 8-bit pixel art montage, albeit with the occasional flicker and visual glitch, depicting two very familiar individuals training like there's no tomorrow, pushing themselves to get better and better with a determination and ferocity the likes of which we've never seen before. Accompanying these visuals is the sound of “Same Old Story” composed by Joel Baylis with vocals by Shelby Harvey.

After a moment of this encompassing our view, we suddenly find ourselves back in the arena, watching the video continue to play on the biggest LED screen on the stage from a bit of a low angle view. We're slowly panning back as we realize white, purple and green laser lights are dancing along the stage and over the now dimly lit arena in time with the music. Once we pan down and back far enough, a spotlight suddenly comes to life, illuminating two figures standing hand-in-hand whose backs are to the ring and staring up at the video right along with us, almost as a reminder of the work they've put in to get to this point. The fans can be heard erupting into cheers at the sight of the tandem, and as the vocals reach the pre-chorus, they slowly turn to face the ring at long last, taking in the lyrics as either a declaration for them to prove wrong or a warning to their opponents about how tonight is going to go. When the song finally goes into the first chorus, the tandem raise their joined hands high into the air, the lights in the arena all coming on now in an impressive display of white, purple and green as similar-colored pyro fires off behind them, revealing none other than Amelia Blythe and La Pequeña Luz, The Light In The Darkness. Having fully embraced a theme revolving around the hit indy game Cassette Beasts for tonight, in addition to a purple and black version of her singlet with the design of a slime texture, Amelia is also donning what resembles a purple cropped hoodie that, along with her gifted mask from Luz beneath it, resembles the Jellyton monster from the game. Meanwhile, Luz's attire, including her mask design for the evening, makes her look like the game's Miasmodeus monster, complete with a black witch hat upon her head.

Despite the video game theme they've opted to go with tonight for Rise to Greatness and the appropriate choice of theme song from the Cassette Beasts OST, the couple look to be all business from this point forward as they march, hand-in-hand, down to the ring. It does slip a bit, however, as they can't help but smile in reassurance as an ear-deafening chant of “YOU BELONG HERE!” rocks the arena, the fans clapping between each chant of those words as they all make absolutely sure The Light In The Darkness hear their message of support as they walk down the ramp.

Phillips: “Next, they are the team of La Pequena Luz and Amelia Blythe, The Light in the Darkness!”

Once they reach ringside, they pause for a moment to take it all in, even glancing over to a certain section of the front row as we pan over to see the same people we saw in the video, their found family, happily leading the continuing chants and encouraging the tandem that brought them all together. With a nod to one another, the two slowly separate as Amelia makes her way up the steps to walk across the apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz, meanwhile, hops up onto the apron right in front of her and grabs the top rope before vaulting herself into the ring. She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees as Amelia stands behind her, but instead of what they usually do, they both throw their arms out wide as the fans roar, loud chants of “LITD!” erupting from the crowd. As Amelia takes Luz's hands and pulls her back to her feet, they suddenly rush over to the ropes facing the stage, standing on them as they join hands and throw their free arms out. As they do, the song abruptly cuts to the final refrain as we see the couple audibly singing along while staring up at the stage with the fans singing along in deafening unison as a declaration for their opponents tonight.

“Heads or tails, kneel before me
Rain or hail, I'll be set free
The finest stage to be winning on
We'll see—it's the same old story”

As the song ends, the fans are roaring at the meaning behind it all as The Light In The Darkness slowly step down off the ropes, Amelia shedding her hoodie and mask and Luz removing her witch hat before the two of them move to stand in the center of the ring, ready to go to war.

Knots: “A bit over the top. Melodramatic, huh? If you need them to give you worth-“

Sharper: “Stop it, Jon. They wear their heart on their sleeve. And they hope tonight to give themselves that vindication. There’s always that feeling you’re not enough. And Light in the Darkness, twice, this year, have lost the titles before a bigger match.”

Knots: “They better find that extra gear then. This is the best tag division in the world, Sharper!”

The scene goes black and white as we then see on the screen “Katie Steward Pictures Presents…”

We then see a countdown.

The grey turns to bright pink as colour returns to the screen, and the stage, and “Sweet but Psycho” by Ava Max plays throughout the stadium. A few moments pass before Katie Steward walks out from the back with Gigi Steward. Both proudly hold their World Tag Team Championships over their shoulders. TJ Johnson walks out with them. They stand on the stage posing. White and pink pyro shoots off high into the air.

Phillips: “And finally, the SCW World Tag Team Champions, accompanied by TJ Johnson, they are Gigi and Katie Steward, Team Desire!”

Katie turns to Gigi and Gigi nods as the two walk down to the ring. The cameras follow them as they make the long walk to the ring, defiantly looking at the ring. TJ can be seen looking at Light in the Darkness, giving them a thumbs down. Katie and Gigi walk down the rampway as Glory and Brittany glare at Light in the Darkness in the ring. After several moments, Katie and Gigi reach the ring. Gigi hops onto the apron as Katie walks up the steel steps. TJ Johnson hops onto the apron and holds the ropes open for Katie who enters. Gigi follows. They then step up. Katie gets up right up into the face of Twisted & Sadistic while Gigi does the same to Light in the Darkness, defiantly showing off their “plot twist.” They then step back and hand off the title to Aaron Demitra, the senior official.

Sharper: “Defiant. They played spoiler. The plot twist as we heard it. Katie Steward and Gigi Steward made history to be here.”

Knots: “Katie has now held every title she could in SCW. And now she’s hoping to play spoiler again. Twisted & Sadistic, Light in the Darkness, send them home disappointed and sad.”

Light in the Darkness look out as Glory and Brittany talk. Katie Steward and Gigi Steward stand in their corner as the SCW World Tag Team Championship logo comes across the screen. The official, Aaron Demitra holds the SCW World Tag Team Championship belts over his head. He then hands them off. The bell sounds.

Sharper: “And here we go. Three way dance. That means elimination. But not just that, this is a standard tag match. One team cannot be in there. But unlike in a triple threat, no real disadvantage.”

Knots: “And look at Glory and Brittany. Right to the apron. They know. Plus, let’s see Light in the Darkness in their rematch!”

Braddock and Lohan both exit as Katie then steps out as Gigi stretches. Luz stays in for Light in the Darkness. The crowd roars as Gigi and Luz circle the ring and then lunge at one another and lock into a collar and elbow tie-up. Gigi turns into an arm wrench. Luz winces and then somersaults forward and bridges up before then cartwheel into an arm wrench of her own. Luz then lifts up the arm and hits an overhead chop to the chest of Gigi. Gigi staggers back to the ropes and Luz then whips her across. Gigi bounces off and slides through her legs. Luz runs forward and bounces off and Gigi gets up and hits a jumping calf kick. She goes for the pin.

Luz kicks out. Both get up and Gigi forearms Luz in the jaw and then moves her into the corner. She then chops her. The crowd woos. Gigi chops her again. More woos. Luz then grabs her and spins her into the corner. She hits an overhead chop before then grabbing the arm and wrenching it. She fires Gigi off into the Twisted & Sadistic corner. Gigi, however, slides to a stop. Luz runs at her and Gigi goes for a sweep. Luz hops over it. Gigi turns and Luz backflips back, placing her legs on the shoulders of Gigi before headscissoring her over into the Twisted & Sadistic corner. Luz rolls back as Braddock and Lohan both keep their hands up. Gigi gets up and steps forward only to turn and tag in Braddock. Braddock looks at her as Gigi rolls to the floor. Braddock slowly enters.

Sharper: “And Gigi and Luz going back and forth. Luz with the early advantage there and Gigi tagging in Braddock.”

Knots: “Braddock and Lohan were going to respect the one v. one.”

Sharper: “What?”

Knots: “You’ve never played a MOBA.”

Sharper: “The hell is a MOBA?”

Braddock enters. Luz watches her before Braddock rushes at Luz and hits a single leg takedown. She then grabs the arm and spins around, but Luz pushes her off. Luz nips up and Braddock turns and kicks her in the ribs. She then spins her around and throws her into the ropes. Luz bounces off and Braddock hits a back elbow. She goes for the pin.

Luz kicks out. Both get up and Braddock hits a leg sweep and goes for the pin.

Luz kicks out. Both get up and Luz kicks Braddock in the stomach before hitting a jumping enziguri to the side of the head. Luz then backflips back and tags in Blythe. Blythe enters and both run at Braddock and hit her with a running Shotei/European uppercut combo. Braddock hits the mat. Blythe goes for the pin.

Braddock kicks out. Blythe gets up and Braddock stirs as Luz exits. Blythe then hooks Braddock up and hits a snap suplex. Braddock winces and starts to sit up. Blythe obliges and sits her up and chops her in the back.

Sharper: “And Blythe in and we’ve see Blythe and Braddock have some amazing matches. Both well versed in the British style.”

Knots: “Right now, they need to be well versed in tag wrestling and resilience. To win.”

Sharper: “Hard chop to the back.”

Blythe then runs in front of Braddock and bounces off and hits a lunging European uppercut. Braddock falls back and rolls over. Blythe grabs her and pulls her up. She then wrench the arm and moves it into a hammerlock before then floating over the back of Braddock and rolling her down, but Braddock gets free and then moves into a side headlock and forearms her a couple of times. Braddock rolls off as the crowd roars a bit. Blythe gets up and Braddock moves to the Twisted & Sadistic corner. Blythe heads over to stop her, but Braddock hits a straight kick to the ribs before then tagging Lohan. Braddock runs out and jumps up onto Blythe and hits a monkey flip, sending her into Lohan who catches her and then hits a huge powerbomb. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Lohan with the power! She’s the difference maker in this one. She offers something no one else can match.”

Knots: “Blythe was just reminded of that.”

Blythe rolls over. Lohan then grabs her and clubs her in the back. She goes down. Blythe rolls over and Lohan grabs her again and clubs her in the back again. Blythe falls to a knee. Lohan spins her around and whips her into the ropes. Lohan then hoists Blythe over her head. The crowd roars and just then Lohan turns and throws her at Gigi. Gigi catches her and the two fall to the floor. The crowd ohs as Lohan walks around the ring.

Knots: “Difference maker indeed! And is that a tag?”

Sharper: “No defined tag. In SCW, you have to tag via the hand. That’s Gigi’s only saving grace. But Blythe can be counted out. And look at this…”

REPLAY:

We see Braddock jumping up and monkey flipping Blythe int Lohan who catches her and powerbombs her. The RTG XXI logo comes up and we see Lohan pressing Blythe over her head and then running over to the Steward corner, throwing her at Gigi. Gigi catches her and both fall to the floor.

Lohan paces. (1) Blythe winces as Gigi rolls over, holding her back. (2) Blythe slowly crawls to the barricade. (3)

Lohan then steps through the ropes and down to the floor. (1) She walks over to Blythe and knees her in the chest. Blythe pops up in pain and Lohan rolls her into the ring. (2) Lohan rolls in after. Blythe gets up and Lohan just clotheslines her down and goes for the pin.

Blythe kicks out. Gigi stirs with TJ Johnson’s help, as Blythe reaches out for the ropes, only for Lohan to grab her and whip her into the neutral corner. Lohan then walks over and grabs her and goes to whip her across, but Blythe stops and pulls her into an elbow. Lohan staggers and Blythe hits a European uppercut. Blythe then runs into the ropes, tags Luz in blindly and runs at Lohan, jumping up for a crossbody. Lohan catches her, but Luz climbs to the top rope and dives off with a seated senton to Lohan, driving her down to the mat. Blythe rolls out of the ring. Luz turns and hits a standing moonsault. She hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Moonsault from Luz after the double team.”

Lohan pushes her off. Luz rolls off as Lohan rolls over. Luz then kicks her in the ribs and then runs into the ropes. She bounces off and jumps up onto Lohan and floats over her into a DDT. The crowd ohs. Luz goes for the pin.

Lohan kicks out and stirs. Luz then gets up and runs at Lohan, but Lohan hits a back elbow and then shakes it off before heading over and tagging in Braddock. Braddock enters the ring and runs at Luz, but then steps behind her leg and rolls through into a leg trap roll-up.

Luz kicks out. Both get up and Luz goes for a clothesline. Braddock ducks and catches her, hitting a snap back suplex. Braddock then turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a running elbow drop. She goes for the pin.

Luz kicks out. Both get up and Braddock kicks Luz in the ribs before hooking her up for a suplex. Luz spins through and lands behind her and shoves Braddock into the neutral corner. Braddock however spins around to the middle turnbuckle of the Light in the Darkness corner, sitting on the top. Luz runs at Braddock. Braddock boots her in the face. She then goes for the Prankster’s Paradise, but Luz ducks. Braddock flips through, landing on her feet. Luz then jumps up and goes for the Lights Out, but Braddock pulls away. Luz hits the mat and Braddock falls forward into the Steward corner. Katie promptly tags in and Luz gets up only for Katie to roll her up in a small package!

Sharper: “Luz and Braddock know each other so well from their wars, but Steward! Katie Steward tags in!”

Knots: “And inside cradle!”

Luz kicks out. The crowd ohs. Both get up and Luz walks right into the Most Beautiful Superkick ever. Luz falls back and into the Light in the Darkness corner. Blythe tags herself in. Blythe enters and runs at Katie. Katie ducks a clothesline attempt and then both spin around only for Katie to hit a jumping crescent kick. Blythe hits the mat and Katie hits a breakdance leg drop. She goes for the pin.

Blythe kicks out.

Sharper: “And Katie with two nearfalls. She’s the freshest in this.”

Knots: “Probably by design. She’s always thinking!”

Katie grabs Blythe and forearms her in the jaw before pushing her to the ropes. She fires her off and Blythe bounces back and Katie hits a dropkick. She gets up and hits a jumping senton splash before rolling over and tagging in Gigi. Gigi enters and Blythe starts to get up and Gigi runs over and hits a dropkick to the knees of Blythe. Blythe hits the mat and goes up to her hands and knees. Katie hits a running leg drop. Blythe rolls over to her back and Gigi hits a running senton backsplash. She geos for the pin.

Blythe kicks out. Gigi turns and tags in Katie. Katie enters and Gigi grabs Blythe up and they both kick her in the ribs and hit a double vertical suplex. Blythe winces as Gigi rolls out of the ring. Katie turs as Blythe starts to get up and Katie kicks her in the ribs. She then runs to the neutral corner, running up it and gets to the top rope. She goes for a praying moonsault, but Blythe moves out of the way. Katie crashes and then gets up and Blythe gutwrenches her up and into a gutwrench sitout powerbomb.

Katie kicks out. Blythe then rolls over and tags in Braddock. Braddock enters the ring and Katie gets up only for Braddock to hook her up by the head and leg and hit a bridging fisherman’s suplex.

Sharper: “Champions in trouble! Bridging fisherman’s suplex!”

Gigi breaks it up. Katie rolls over and moves to the ropes. Gigi grabs Braddock and nails her a couple of times before Lohan enters the ring. Gigi quickly retreats, rolling to the floor. Braddock slowly shakes it off and gets up, but Katie then suddenly falls to her back and nails Braddock with a straight right hand to the jaw as she bends over. Braddock stumbles back. Katie smirks and rolls over and tags in Gigi. Gigi climbs to the top rope. She dives off and hits a crossbody into a pin on Braddock.

Braddock kicks out. Gigi rolls out and right to Lohan who just grabs her. The crowd roars. Demitra warns her and Lohan shoves her back into Braddock who grabs her and hits a full nelson suplex into a bridge.

Sharper: “Lohan stopped Gigi and set her right up for Braddock! Dragon suplex!”

Knots: “And the bridge!”

Gigi just kicks out. Braddock rolls over and gets up. She then turns and tags in Brittany Lohan. Lohan enters as Gigi stirs and Braddock kicks her in the ribs. She then runs her into Lohan who places her head between her legs. She hoists her up for a powerbomb and Braddock then jumps up and hits a neckbreaker. The crowd ohs. Lohan turns and walks around and goes for the pin.

Katie pulls her off. She then backs up as Lohan looks at her. Braddock steps towards her only to then be told to return to her corner. Lohan walks over to Gigi and grabs her, but Gigi rakes her eyes.

Sharper: “Going to the eyes. Maybe some desperation for Gigi. But then again, do you want Lohan running roughshod.”

Knots: “No.”

Sharper: “And Gigi needs to make a tag.”

Lohan staggers and then swings, but Gigi ducks and spins around and hits the backstabber. The crowd ohs as Lohan rolls over in pain and to the ropes. Gigi then turns and tags in Katie. Katie enters the ring and runs over and hits Lohan with a baseball slide, knocking her to the floor. She rolls over. (1) Katie then smirks as Lohan slowly turns and Katie runs over and grabs Braddock and pulls her into the ring. Braddock rolls over and gets up and Katie hits the Botox Injection. Braddock falls over and towards the Team Desire corner. Katie then turns and see Lohan still recovering as the official tries to regain order only for Katie to turn and nail Luz with a hard right and then elbow Blythe in the jaw. Katie turns back to Luz who blocks it and nails her with a hard right before then springboarding to the top rope and hitting a top rope clothesline.

Sharper: “Luz not going to let Katie attack anything.”

Knots: “Lohan’s down. She trying to keep her offense going. Braddock can’t intervene if she’s down. And if Light are in after Lohan’s eliminated-“

Sharper: “You have to eliminate Lohan. And she’s preventing the countout, but now, Katie is dealing with Luz!”

Luz rolls through and Katie gets up and Luz hits a chop and then a kick to the ribs before then hitting a jumping enziguri. Katie falls to her hands and knees. The official tries to get Luz out and Luz turns into the ropes, but Gigi knees her in the back. Gigi then drops down and heads around to Lohan who starts to get up and Gigi runs at Lohan, but Lohan clotheslines her down. Katie meanwhile grabs Luz who spins around and hooks her arms and then turns her around into the Platinum Blonde! The crowd erupts. Katie spins around to turn into the pin, but Lohan slides in and Katie gets up only for Lohan to drill her with the For Your Eyes Only!

Sharper: “Platinum Blonde on Luz, but Lohan back in the ring!”

Knots: “Gigi tried to stop her-“

Sharper: “For Your Eyes Only!”

Lohan turns and hooks Katie’s legs.

The crowd roars as the bell sounds twice.

Phillips: “Team Desire has been eliminated!”

Sharper: “And we now have guaranteed new Tag Team Champions here at Rise to Greatness XXI! Almost poetic that even with Team Desire trying throwing in the plot twist, the two teams that have been at it for the last year are going to fight one more time to determine who walks away champion once and for all!”

Knots: “Katie’s not going to be happy with these rewrites during production!”

Sharper: “But Light in the Darkness may not be either. Luz is down. She’s hurt from the Platinum Blonde!”

Luz rolls towards the ropes as Lohan turns and heads over to her, but Blythe swings around the ringpost and holds onto the tag rope, tagging herself in, just barely getting Luz’s hand. Lohan turns and stomps Luz a couple of times, causing her to fall to the floor. Blythe enters and forearms Lohan in the jaw a couple of times before running into the ropes. Lohan goes for the military press again, hoisting Blythe over her head, but Blythe drops down and then sees Braddock getting back up and clotheslines her over the top rope to the floor. Blythe turns back as Lohan hoists her up in a bearhug. She then looks at her before swinging her down into a bearhug slam. She goes for the pin.

Blythe gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and Lohan gets up as the crowd starts to applaud Katie and Gigi as they start to walk up the rampway to the back, defeated, with TJ Johnson.

Sharper: “Two count as Lohan again using that strength!”

Knots: “Blythe is practically on her own here. Braddock recovering. This is bad for the LITD!”

Lohan grabs Blythe and pulls her up. She nails her with a hard right. Blythe hits the mat. She gets up and Lohan scoops her up onto her shoulder. Braddock pulls herself up and then Lohan tags her. Braddock climbs to the top rope and Lohan manhandles Blythe around before then spinebustering her down. The crowd ohs as Braddock dives off with the London Plunge. She follows up with the pin.

Blythe gets her shoulder up.

Sharper: “Taking the Plunge only gets two! Blythe now just trying to hold on until Luz recovers.”

Knots: “Can she even recover? Delay? And are you just delaying the inevitable. Two on one until you can hopefully get enough?”

Blythe rolls over as Braddock grabs her and clubs her in the back. She then turns and whips her into the ropes. Blythe bounces off and Braddock hits a jumping calf kick and then jumping up and stomping her in the face. Blythe rolls over. She turns and tags in Lohan again. Lohan enters as Glory then shoves her into the ropes. Lohan just launches her in the air on the rebound and she falls into the Gloria in Excelsis Dio. Glory rolls off as Lohan goes for the pin.

Luz then enters with a springboard 450 splash to the back of Lohan’s head. The crowd roars. Luz rolls off as Lohan rolls over. Braddock turns and sees her and nails her with a hard right and then another. Luz falls into the ropes. Braddock then runs her across the ring and goes to throw her to the floor, but Luz jumps up, swings through the ropes and jumps up, grabbing Braddock’s head and spinning through for the tornado DDT. Braddock rolls out of the ring to the apron. Luz slowly rolls over and the official tells her to get out of the ring. Luz obliges as she falls to a knee on the apron.

Sharper: :Luz back! And quickly making a difference. First on Lohan, and then the tornado DDT on Braddock!”

Knots: “Still gotta get her in there!”

Blythe turns and reaches over as the crowd cheers. Luz pulls herself up and extends her arm. The crowd roars as Lohan turns and grabs at the leg of Blythe. She then starts to pull. Blythe tries to pull away, but Lohan then steps up and locks in an ankle lock. The crowd roars as Blythe yells out in pain. Lohan keeps the hold on, standing up now. Lohan cranks on it as Luz keeps extending her arm. Blythe then reaches out and tags. The crowd roars as Lohan lets go of Blythe and Luz springboards to the top rope and then dives forward and lands on Lohan’s shoulders with a snap hurricanrana. Lohan hits the mat and rolls to the floor.(1) Braddock gets up nearby and Luz turns and helps Blythe up.(2) The two look at one another before turning and running at the ropes. Luz dives through the ropes with a tope suicida onto Braddock while Luz dives off the top rope with a twisting somersault plancha hitting Lohan.(1)

Sharper: “Through the ropes! Over the ropes! Light in the Darkness goes airborne!”

Knots: “Direct hits on both!”

Luz rolls over as Lohan is down. Braddock and Blythe end up in a heap. Luz turns and slowly grabs Lohan. (2) She drags her up and rolls her into the ring. Luz then climbs up to the top rope. She looks down at Lohan and hits the Vuelo Encantado. The crowd roars. She turns back and hooks the leg.

Lohan gets her shoulder up. Luz rolls off and looks around. Blythe stirs and starts to move to the ring. Braddock crawls behind her, not wanting to give any advantage. A “This is Awesome” chant can be heard trickling through the crowd.

Sharper: “Damn right it is. These two teams will do anything to become World Tag Team Champions again!”

Knots: “And the bragging rights of winning here tonight. No doubts after this one!”

Luz reaches over as Blythe reaches up and Luz grabs her arms and then pulls her into the ring. The crowd roars. Blythe gets up as Lohan starts to stir. Luz then exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope and Blythe runs over and grabs her and goes for the Spicy Toss at Lohan, but Lohan catches her and powerslams her. The crowd erupts. Lohan gets up and Blythe runs over and forearms her in the jaw once and then again. She whips Lohan into the ropes. Braddock climbs up onto the apron and reaches out, tagging herself in. Blythe notices and kicks Lohan in the ribs before running over to Braddock and going to forearm her, but Braddock blocks it and hits guillotine drop. Blythe falls back and into Lohan who hooks her up and hoists her up. Braddock climbs up to the top rope and dives off with the Hell on Earth on Blythe. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Hell of Earth on Amelia Blythe! But she’s not the legal woman!”

Knots: “Do they know that!”

Braddock turns and goes for the pin.

Knots: “Nope! Lohan is yelling at Braddock though. She knows. Braddock lost count.”

Lohan yells at Braddock as the official also waves it off, but Luz then runs over and dropkicks Lohan in the back. Lohan falls forward and through the ropes to the floor. Luz gets up and Braddock runs over and forearms her once and then again and again before going to whip her into the ropes. Luz bounces off and Braddock goes to lift her up, but Luz ends up behind her. Blythe gets up, just enough to crack Braddock with the European uppercut before collapsing to the mat. But Braddock falls into Luz who finishes off the Wisteria Waltz! The crowd roars. Luz hooks the leg. Blythe is down.

Lohan crawls in and lunges, but the three comes down.

The bell sounds as the crowd roars.

Phillips: “Here is your winners, and NEW SCW World Tag Team Champions…La Pequena Luz and Amelia Blythe, Light in the Darkness!”

Sharper: “From champions to a crisis of confidence to champions again!”

Knots: “Where did Blythe find that to get that European uppercut off!”

Sharper: “I don’t know. The heart they shows. The resilience. And you can see, Blythe is still down. She knew she had to find a way to get up, after taking the Hell on Earth. And Luz finished it off!”

Knots: “The Hell on Earth didn’t win for Twisted & Sadistic. First time for them here. And instead, the Wisteria Waltz did.”

Sharper: “You think they shouldn’t be fighting for the championship? Huh?”

The crowd cheers as Luz goes over to Blythe and checks on. Weakly, Blythe nods as she falls into the chest of Luz. Luz cradles her in joy as they’re handed the SCW World Tag Team Championship. Luz takes one and hands it to Blythe before taking the other. They then remain in the ring. Blythe slowly starts to recover as Luz then kisses her.

Sharper: “They got it done.”

Knots: “They did. And while they’re celebrating, someone not getting it done is what set off our next match. Xander Valentine facing Kandis.”

Sharper: “They face next!”

The Rise to Greatness XXI logo comes up on the screen.

“Taking Hold of the Flame”

We see Selena rolled back in the ring by Xander. Xander then leans against the apron. The officials and road agents come to ringside, checking on the fan. As this is happening, the crowd erupts in cheers as we see Kandis running out from the back. She gets a few strides down before we see a couple of other SCW officials grabbing at her, trying to stop her. They grab her arm and she is stopped briefly. She gets free and runs down a bit more. She again is stopped by one of the officials as she gets to the ringside area. Xander rolls into the ring as Kandis gets free and rolls in and Xander immediately catches her with a boot.

Sharper: “Kandis! Looking for revenge from earlier! From the battle royal!”

Knots: “Lucas left her with the help and Kandis nearly got in. But Xander…what the hell are you doing?”

Sharper: “She had to be gunning for Selena, but Xander Valentine doesn’t want to win that way. He has Selena down! He has her hurt.”

Kandis rolls over and gets up and Xander grabs her by the throat. He hits a chokeslam. Selena rolls into the ring. We then cut to show Xander hoisting Selena up for the Valhalla Has Fallen, but showing Selena countering into the Devil’s Gate. The scene cuts to black and the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via referee stoppage, and STILL SCW World Champion, Selena Frost!”

Knots: “She choked him out.”

Sharper: “By the skin of her teeth. Xander had her and she managed to shift her weight…and somehow lock in that hold.”

Knots: “You could’ve taken the help Xander!”

Sharper: “Selena Frost still the World Champion. And she goes on to main event Rise to Greatness for the fourth time in a row as champion!”

Xander Valentine is down on the mat as Kandis grabs at the ring apron.

Kandis: “[MUTE]ing idiot! You {MUTE]ing idiot!”

The scene cuts away as we open up on the next Breakdown. Xander Valentine is in the ring.

Xander: “To be that close. To have the feeling of Selena Frost’s will to fight slowly sapping. To feel it when I drove her into the mat.”

Xander smirks.

Xander: “Oh I wanted it too. But I have no one to blame but myself…”

Xander looks down.

Xander: “Some of you may question my decisions that I made. That I could have stood here as the World Champion, but then again, when you’re on borrowed time, there’s desperation, but there’s what you really want. And I’ve been on borrowed time for five years…exacerbated by last year when my ending was rewritten by the disappointment of my opponent. A worthy end was not coming and I-“

???: “-and you proved you’re a complete idiot!”

Xander turns to the entrance way as Kandis walks out from the back, microphone in hand. She stands on the stage and looks at Xander.

Kandis: “I was going to hand you the World Title. You could shut that bitch up…and you were too good for it?”

Xander: “As I said…there’s what I really want.”

Kandis: “Keep brooding because I’m done. I’m done with this and next week, a little spoiler for you all. They’re letting Selena Frost have her moment. She can think she’s going to face Josh Hudson. But next week, Selena has to deal with me. And she won’t be walking out!”

Kandis looks at Xander.

Kandis: “Maybe I’ll just take your moniker…I’ll be the Executioner. And end Selena Frost’s egotistical run for everyone’s sake.”

Just then, the crowd roars as Kirsten Scott walks out from the back. She takes a few steps and Kandis stops, noticing the roar from the crowd. She turns back. The One Kirsten Scott looks at Xander Valentine. Kandis then turns to her as Scott grabs the microphone, leaning it towards her.

Scott: “You and me both. As for him…You thought I didn’t deserve my shot. I at least left nothing back.”

Kandis: “My point exactly. Go f*ck yourself, Xander. We’re going to finish your dirty work.”

We then cut to the following week where we see Kandis and Kirsten Scott brandishing steel chairs as they work together in their fourway match against Polly Pingotti and Selena Frost. As they go to attack, we see the chaos that unfolds after with Body, Heart, and Soul running out, joined by Chris Dumont. In the chaos, which sees Hailey, Kirsten Scott’s second fighting too, we then see Scott nail Polly with a chair, before showing Selena hitting Scott with the Glass Shard. We then hear Xander’s voice.

Xander: “She found out how hard it is to see it through. I could run her down. I could call her an idiot like she did me. The difference – I at least lost on my own terms and I can live with that. As I’ve said – to say what may be my final World Title win came from her helping me. I couldn’t live with that. To be tainted by that. As for what she does in her clear tantrum stage, she’s finding out that Selena is as resilient as ever. A cockroach if you will.”

We see Xander Valentine then defeating Autumn Valentine before we see Kandis running odwn from the back, joined by Kirsten Scott. Kandis gets a few hard rights on Xander. Kirsten Scott gets up and runs over as Xander pushes Kandis off and Kirsten stomps Xander in the chest. The crowd roars as Scott gets several good shots in and Kandis then comes over and does the same. They stomp away on Xander as Lexy tries to get Autumn out of the ring. We then see Scott Reed running out from the back.

Sharper: “Kandis who has progressively just gotten more and more angry-“

Knots: “Here comes Scott Reed! The ceasefire is over!”

Scott Reed runs down to the ring and slides in and Kirsten Scott turns and Reed nails her with a couple of hard rights before turning and nailing Kandis. He turns and grabs Kirsten and goes to whip her into the ropes, but Kirsten ducks under and pulls him into a knee. She shoves back and into Kandis who hits a Starmaker. Reed goes down. Xander grabs at the ropes as Kirsten and Kandis return to their first target. They start to stomp away on him before the crowd roars again.

Sharper: “Scott Reed dispatched. Kirsten and Kandis are very much on the same page-“

Knots: “And this could get interesting! Syren!”

Syren runs out from the back. The crowd cheers. She runs down and slides in. She gets up and Kandis glances back only for Syren to run at her and hit the Face Lift. The crowd ohs. Kirsten Scott turns and nails Syren with a hard right. Syren fires back. They trade blows before Syren gets the advantage kicks her in the ribs and goes for the Total Makeover. Kirsten Scott shoves her back and rolls out of the ring. Kandis does too. Lexy just looks up.

Lexy: “What are you doing?!”

Syren stands guard over Xander as Kandis and Kirsten Scott meet up again. Scott Reed stirs in the ring, holding his head. Syren turns and looks at Xander. Xander looks at her. Syren extends an arm. The crowd roars. Xander looks at her and Syren pulls him up. Lexy looks on wide-eyed. Kandis and Kirsten Scott both look on, annoyed and frustrated.

Sharper: “Syren is helping Xander Valentine up!”

Knots: “Lexy Chapel is beside herself! And Kandis and Kirsten Scott are pissed off! They had Xander!”

Kandis looks at Xander as Xander glances at Kandis before turning to Syren. We then cut to see Xander standing with Syren on the stage with Scott and Kandis in the ring.

Xander: “I’ll admit after everything I said to Syren last year…even disrespecting her…this feels weird. But then again, she is right. I am not the same person I was a year ago. I have another lease on my career, but Kandis, I’m not arrogant enough to feel it will go on forever. I don’t have time for more regrets, even though you two seem to be ready for a lifetime of them. And if tonight, Syren and I have to team up to give you a taste of how you’re going to just be very angry with little to show for it for a long time…then so be it.”

Kandis: “Xander…you’re right that you don’t have much time left. Because whether it’s tonight or at Rise to Greatness, I plan to do what Syren couldn’t do…and that’s get you out of the way permanently. I just don’t need a stip to do it. Just one kick…and no matter what, well…Both of you, you eff around, you’ll find out.”

Kirsten: “FAFO…just a matter of when!”

We cut to later that night where Xander and Syren face Kandis and Scott. Xander looks at Kandis, wide-eyed and very angry, before hoisting her up and driving her down with a chokeslam. He then steps forward and runs at Kirsten Scott and boots her off the apron. The crowd roars. Xander turns around as Kandis slowly stirs and Xander walks over to her and kicks her in the ribs. He hoists her up for a powerbomb, but Kandis slides down and forearms Xander in the jaw. She runs back and goes to hit a back kick on Syren, but Syren catches her and she turns only for Syren to shove Kandis back into Xander who suddenly hits a school boy!

The crowd roars. Kandis rolls over and turns, stunned as Kirsten Scott is even stunned. She then enters the ring and before Xander can get up, hits him with the Hidden Blade. He goes down. Syren goes to enter, but Lexy grabs her and pulls her to the floor. Kirsten and Kandis then turn and stomp away on Xander Valentine. The crowd boos as they get good shots into the ribs and face of Xander. Kandis then nods to Kirsten. Kirsten turns and stomps her assault as Kandis grabs Xander. Kirsten walks across the ring and asks for something from Hailey. Hailey, who has a black shoulder bag, reaches in and pulls out a can of yellow spray paint and throws it to Kirsten Scott. She turns and heads over as Xander is then knocked down by Kandis who hits him with the Gratuitous.

Knots: “Ass to the face!”

Sharper: “Making sure to hit it. Xander down. Syren trying to get to the ring, but Lexy Chapel holding her back. And Kirsten Scott has something.”

Kirsten Scott walks over to Xander who is down and Kirsten looks at him before standing over him and spray painting on his chest, in yellow paint “FAFO.” The crowd boos as Kirsten Scott and Kandis stand over Xander and Kandis stomps him a couple more times for good measure.

Knots: “I think the message has been sent! FAFO? Xander effed around…he found out!”

Kandis vs. Xander Valentine

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

Some need to keep on takin'

Till you ain't got none”

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a sixty minute time limit. First, fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado, from Rochester, New York, he is the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner, Xander Valentine!”

The cameras follow him down the whole way. Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine has made it clear he doesn’t know how much time he has left, but he wants to do it his way. And Kandis, who wanted nothing more than to see Selena fall at Xander’s hands, has now made it a mission to knock Xander from the top.”

Knots: “And she said last night, she’ll do anything, even if people, meaning the officials, get in her way.”

The opening of "Whore" by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around the stage.

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face as the crowd boos. She turns and shows off her notorious rear end, swaying it back and forth. Fire shoots out from the stage on both sides.

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, then Kandis turns around, arms spread and feet wide apart as vocalist Maria Brink shouts:

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

Pyro then shoots out in front of the stage and into the air. Kandis smirks as she then starts down the ramp as the rest of the chorus continues, the sway in her hips ever present as she smirks at all the boos, even blowing sarcastic kisses to the crowd.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Santa Barbara, California.... she is Kandis!”

But let me tell you something, baby
You love me for everything you hate me for}

After several moments, Kandis reaches the ring and looks up at Xander. Kandis goes up the ring steps and enters the ring through the second and top rope slowly, making sure to show off her ass. The heavy music fades out as Kandis goes to her corner as Kandis bores a hole in Xander from across the ring.

Sharper: “You think that tells the story. She is not taking her eyes off of him.”

Knots: “She plans to pounce.”

Sharper: “And we know Kandis will be aggressive. Nothing makes her fear things, especially when she wants nothing more than to become the SCW World Champion again!”

Kandis looks at Xander with disdain as the official, Steve Hollinsworth, calls for the bell. Kandis steps up and Xander steps up too, hands up. Kandis then feigns a hard right and goes for a kick to the leg. Xander winces and Kandis smirks and then feigns a hard left and kicks Xander in the leg again. Xander swings with a right handed haymaker, but Kandis ducks and then tackles him back into the corner. Xander leans back and Kandis nails him with a hard right and then a left. Hollinsworth counts.

Kandis however backs up and spins around and jumps up onto the middle turnbuckle. The crowd looks on as Kandis hammers away on Xander with a couple of hard rights before Xander shoves her off. She lands on the mat and rolls through. She gets up and runs back at Xander and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle. She nails him with a series of hard right again and Xander shoves her off again. Kandis hits the mat and rolls through. She gets up and steps up, but Xander grabs her in a double choke. The crowd roars as Xander turns and choke throws her into the corner. Xander then hits a left, a right and then a series of hard rights and lefts to the jaw.

Sharper: “Xander caught her and while Kandis has a kickboxing past, Xander was an Olympic hopeful in boxing before he fell on some hard times.”

Knots: “And he’s not someone you want angry.”

Sharper: “Neither are!”

Kandis staggers out of the corner and turns and Xander nails her with a hard right. She hits the mat. She rolls over and gets back up and to her feet. Xander walks over and grabs her and scoops her up onto his shoulder. He runs forward for a snake eyes, but Kandis slides down. Xander stops at the corner and Kandis kicks him in the ribs. Xander falls back into the corner and Kandis hits a shoot kick to the chest before hitting another and another. Xander just takes each shot as Kandis puts everything behind them.

Kandis steps back and snaps at the official. She then turns back and kicks Xander in the ribs.

Sharper: “And early, the official needing to enforce the rules. Kandis has made it clear that she has no problem turning this into something uncontrollable.”

Knots: “She’s attacked officials before too.”

Kandis then grabs Xander and pulls him out and nails him with a hard right. Xander walks along the apron, clearly annoyed as Kandis then steps up and kicks him again and pushes him into the corner. She then climbs up to the middle turnbuckle again and hammers away, but this time, Xander grabs her and throws her forward. Kandis lands hard on the mat. She gets up and Xander runs across and clotheslines her down. Kandis rolls over as the crowd looks on. Xander turns and grabs her and nails her with a hard right, knocking her down.

Sharper: “This is just a bar fight so far. Neither hitting any real wrestling moves.”

Knots: “And Kandis wants it. Xander too! Both strikers. Come on!”

Kandis gets up and Xander knees her in the ribs. He knees her again and then pulls her into the ropes and fires her off. Kandis bounces off and Xander boots her in the face. He turns and hits an elbow drop. He goes for the lateral press.

Kandis kicks out. She rolls over and moves to the corner. Xander follows up and Kandis reaches up and rakes the eyes. She then hits a drop toe hold, driving him face first into the middle turnbuckle. Kandis slowly gets up and kicks Xander in the ribs. Xander rolls over. Kandis kicks him again before then grabbing the top rope and starting to choke him with her foot.

Kandis steps off and turns to Hollinsworth.

Kandis: “Fuck right off!”

Kandis goes to turn back to Xander as Hollinsworth warns her. Kandis pushes him out of the way. She then grabs Xander, but Xander this time, grabs Kandis by the throat and turns and throws her up and over the top rope. Kandis swings over and lands on her feet before the momentum takes her down to the floor. Xander then walks around the ring.(1) Kandis slowly gets up and turns to the ring. (2) Annoyed, she rolls into the ring and runs over to Xander, but Xander scoops her up and hits a huge spinning sidewalk slam. He pulls back on the leg.

Kandis kicks out. Xander rolls off. He then walks around the ring as Kandis stirs and slowly gets up and Xander then nails her with another haymaker. Kandis hits the mat and rolls over, moving to the ropes. Xander turns around and goes to grab her. The official starts his count, but Kandis then hits a mule kick. Xander turns and grimaces, falling to a knee.

Knots: “That’s one way to stop an Executioner.”

Sharper: “Using the official there for her own advantage.”

Knots: “See! The zebras have a purpose!”

Xander gets up, but Kandis runs up from behind and hits a bulldog. The crowd looks on as Kandis then steps up and hits a leg drop to the head of Xander. She turns and waits as Xander slowly gets up. He gets to a knee and Kandis hits a shoot kick to his chest. Xander moves to a kneeling position. She hits another shoot kick to the chest before backing up and hitting a savate kick to the jaw. Xander falls back. Kandis then smirks as she walks over to him and snaps at him before stomping him in the face. Xander rolls over and Kandis drags him over to the corner. She stomps him a couple of times before walking across the ring. She extends her arms as the crowd gives a mixed reaction only for Kandis to run full speed at Xander, drilling him with a running hip attack while he’s in a seated position.

Knots: “Ass to the face!”

Sharper:” And running full speed. Hard impact.”

Knots: “You could argue there’s some padding.”

Sharper: “Stop it!”

Xander falls over and Kandis drags him out and hooks the leg.

Xander kicks out. Kandis rolls off and then stomps him in the face. Xander rolls over, grabbing at the ropes. Kandis then kicks him in the ribs. Xander rolls over. He starts to get up and Kandis nails him with another hard right. Xander ends up in the corner and Kandis kicks him in the ribs once and then again and again. Kandis then steps out of the corner before turning and running at him and handspringing into Xander this time with the Booty Call. Xander grimaces. Kandis glances back as Xander steps out and Kandis jumps up and hits the Griever’s Bane. The crowd ohs and some cheer, other boo. Kandis laughs as she rolls Xander over and hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Griever’s Bane! Shades of Kandis’s husband Tommy Valentine!”

Knots: “And she knows what she did!”

Sharper: “And could it put down Xander Valentine!”

Xander pushes her off. Xander rolls over and Kandis then grabs him and drags him up and then pulls him up before running across the ring. She bounces off and jumps up for a hip attack, but Xander catches her. The crowd roars as Xander spins around and hits a huge back suplex. Kandis rolls over in pain. She slowly gets up and Xander fights up to his feet and scoops her up onto his shoulder and runs to the corner and hits a snake eyes. Kandis staggers back as Xander runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a running boot. Xander then walks around the ring as Kandis grabs at the ropes.

Sharper: “And the snake eyes into the boot. Xander starting to show his speed and his impact.”

Knots: “Boot to the face? Doesn’t work as well as an ass though!”

Xander turns and grabs Kandis and pulls her away from the ropes. He then knees her in the ribs before placing her head under his arm. He hoists her up and holds her up. The crowd roars as Xander has her hanging upside down in a vertical suplex position. He then lets go, holding her up with one arm as the crowd roars some more and he drops down with a brainbuster. Xander turns for the pin.

Kandis shoots her shoulder up. Xander rolls off. He then turns and grabs Kandis by the head and hair. The crowd roars as Xander whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Xander scoops her up and hits a huge tilt-a-whirl slam. The crowd roars as Xander gets up and walks around the ring. Kandis grimaces in pain as Xander then drags her up again. Kandis grabs at his pants as Xander pulls her up and then scoops her up onto his shoulder, but Kandis’s legs catch Hollinsworth in the head. Xander turns briefly before then refocusing and running to the ropes, going for a second snake eyes, but Kandis slides down. Xander turns and Kandis hits a savate kick. Xander falls to the corner and down to a knee. Kandis then sees Hollinsworth down and smiles before then running over to Xander and kicking him hard in between the legs. The crowd ohs and boos as Xander drops to the mat.

Knots: “Some shattered dreams and shattered well….you know.”

Sharper: “She saw Hollinsworth down and then full speed, right into the lower regions of Xander Valentine!”

Knots: “And she knew exactly what she was doing. Her motto – you win. And right now, Xander is trying not to dry heave from the pain.”

Kandis then walks over to Hollinsworth who is grabbing at the ropes, shaking out the cobwebs and Kandis just stomps him in the back of the head. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Kandis just assaulting Hollinsworth – this time intentionally!”

Kandis then looks around before walking over to the corner nearest the timekeeper. She drops down to the floor and walks over to the timekeeper, shoving him out of the way. She snaps at Phillips too before she grabs the ringbell. Kandis then turns and walks to the ring, rolling back in. Xander starts to slowly get up to a knee. Kandis gets up and walks over to Xander.

Kandis: “End of the line. You pick. How will this sound with your concussion history?”

Kandis then places the ringbell against Xander’s head and rings it. The crowd ohs as Xander turns away and rolls over, holding his head. Kandis then places it again on his head and strikes it again. The crowd ohs as Xander rolls over, moving to the next corner. Kandis then looks at Hollinsworth and then stomps him again. She turns back.

Kandis then walks over to Xander as Xander holds his head.

Kandis: “But you want this to ring at the end with you winning, dumbass!”

Kandis then places it against the head of Xander again and rings it again. Xander staggers around the ring, holding his head as Kandis smirks before shaking her head and then sighing. Kandis then places the ringbell against the head of Xander.

Kandis: “Go fuck yourself!”

Kandis backs up and then goes for the Starmaker, hoping to hit the bell, but Xander stands up and catches the leg. Xander then grabs her by the throat, lifting her up and dropping her with a chokeslam. He staggers along the ropes and into the next corner. Kandis rolls over and gets up and Xander runs at her and shoulders her. She falls back into the corner and hits chest first before falling back into Xander who hoists her up onto his shoulders. The crowd erupts and he hits the Valhalla has Fallen. Xander turns and hooks the leg as we see Aaron Demitra running down from the back, having already made it over half way. He slides into the ring.

Sharper: “Valhalla has Fallen!”

Knots: “Did she just FAFO?”

Sharper: “And Demitra! Aaron Demitra! Senior official Demitra at the ring!”

We see a few other officials jogging down after, much slower, presumably to check on Hollinsworth as Demitra counts.

Xander rolls off as Demitra calls for the bell. A few moments pass before the bell is sounded as Xander gets up to his feet. He winces as Demitra gets up and raises his arm.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Xander Valentine!”

Sharper: “Xander Valentine wasn’t going to just go down. Kandis wanted to take him out. Maybe permanently. Xander’s not been shy about his concussion history, but not tonight!”

Knots: “And Kandis, when she gets up, that Demitra counted the fall…”

Sharper: “Enough of her. Focus on Xander Valentine. The man who just was victorious despite Kandis’s actions!”

Demitra turns to join the officials in checking on Hollinsworth. Xander looks around as his music plays. He nods and walks around the ring. He then looks at Kandis, shaking her head, clearly judging her. He then walks over to the ropes and exits to the floor. Xander takes another moment to look around before continuing on his way to the back.

The RTG XXII logo comes up on the screen as we see Amy Chastaine come up on the screen followed by Simon Lyman and then showing both.

Sharper: “And from one personal fight to a blood feud. Amy Chastaine and Simon Lyman. Last Person Standing.”

Knots: “They may even get a few shots in when they’re down.”

Sharper: “It’s been bubbling for a long time and it comes to a head tonight!”

The RTG XXI logo comes up on the screen.

Fuzzy shots begin the video showing shots backstage of Simon Lyman talking to Amy Chastaine or Simon being friendly with her daughter Jaina Lancaster. Shots from BlackOut Academy are shown showing Amy Chastaine training people with Simon Lyman seen in the background. Shots of Simon training too follow.

We then cut to a shot of Amy Chastaine backstage, sighing. We see a shot of Amy Chastaine hugging Jaina Lancaster backstage. We see shots of Simon Lyman tagging with Amy Chastaine from angles in the crowd, including seeing them fighting the Alloccos. We then see a shot of Simon Lyman low blowing Gavin Taylor and then showing him hitting a piledriver on him before beating him. We then see a shot of Simon Lyman brandishing a flamethrower as officials stop him.

We then cut to a backstage interview. Amy Chastaine stands with Jessica Winters.

Winters: “Amy, it’s been a challenging time recently from what we have heard. And a lot has changed since we saw you in action in the Tag Team Turmoil. Simon Lyman your partner there. You’ve also taken on a mentorship. Helping Deanna Frost. Maybe the Chamber is in the cards?”

Chastaine stops Winters.

Chastaine: “No…I don’t think so. Beyond not, at this moment, at least aiming for that title, I don’t have a desire to enter into the Chamber. Not yet. Walk before I run deal. And yes, a lot has changed, but I’m focusing on one thing. Taking every match one at a time. I know that’s not sexy. People want to hear me call for a dream match or say I’m going back for the World Title. But right now, I need to make sure I’m capable of not just being at that level. I know talent wise and skill wise I still can. But mentally. And that’s going to take some work. And well, I’m getting there.”

Winters: “Sounds sensible. You mentioned the World Title. Simon Lyman challenging Kandis tonight. Who do you have?”

Chastaine looks down for a moment before looking at Winters.

Chastaine: “Go Kandis.”

We then cut to shots later on in the year where we see Simon Lyman fighting with Josh Hudson, before showing him cutting to shots of him increasingly more unhinged, showing him in a hospital bed, before showing him with Lisa Archer and Elijah Smith. Shots of him then on the microphone wearing a robe follow.

Simon: “Brother Josh!”

Simon: “Sister Bree!”

Simon: “Sister Breezus!”

We then see shots of Simon Lyman fighting Bree Lancaster, before showing him with Dylan Howell, and then cutting to shots of Simon Lyman with Dylan Howell in Bree Lancaster’s house. We then see him and Dylan Howell trying to grab Jaina and pull her into a trunk.

Lyman: “You think you can keep turning people on her side. YOU are the problem. I knew it. I KNEW it. Well, don’t worry, Jaina. You can get out of the way and people can see you, and Amy, for what they are. And we can finally end with this crap. Oh yes…”

We then cut to Taking Hold of the Flame. We see a shot of Dylan Howell being carried to the ring by six hooded men.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman was holding a walk before this event…and that’s Dylan Howell in their arms.”

Knots: “Great. We’re going to have a dead man in this one.”

Sharper: “Yes, a dead man in his wrestling gear!”

Lyman: “Are you ready for a truly wonderful moment?”

We then see Simon Lyman coming to the ring. We then see two men working on Dylan before showing Simon Lyman in the middle of the battle royal.

Lyman: “Rise Dylan! RISE!”

We then see Dylan getting “risen” slowly, taking a deep breath.

Lyman: “Rise Dylan! RISE! For a greater power! A greater purpose!”

The video cuts briefly and then flashes on as “Devil You Know” by Tyler Braden starts to play. Dylan Howell is shown still resurrecting before we show flashes of Simon Lyman’s past transgressions against Amy Chastaine.

Lyman: “I have tried to save all those near her…Sister Breezus….Sister Jaina…I was just trying to help, to rip you from that circle. Dylan and I were just doing the righteous thing. The hold of Sister Amy is too strong. But that is fine…you will soon understand the glory of him and that him is me…and Dylan…you will help me drive her from hell and into the arms of the heavenly!”

Just then, we cut to show Amy Chastaine arriving at Taking Hold of the Flame as the crowd roars. We then see Amy Chastaine entering the ring and tackling Simon down before hammering away on him. We then cut to show Amy Chastaine hitting him with the Lightning Strike before clotheslining him over the top rope and out of the ring.

We see shots of Amy Chastaine nailing Simon Lyman from behind with a chair. Simon Lyman goes down before seeing Amy Chastaine nailing Elijah Smith before then turning and nailing Dylan Howell in the knees. He goes down as we then see Chastaine standing over Howell, placing the Howell’s ankle in a chair.

Chastaine: “You’re staying the hell away from my family, asshole!”

Howell tries to slide away, but Amy stomps him in the face. Dylan falls back before she turns back and looks at the chair.

Amy: “RISE!”

Amy stomps the chair, crushing Dylan Howell’s ankle in it. Howell yells in pain as the crowd cheers. Howell yells in pain. Amy then looks at Dylan again.

Amy: “RISE!”

Amy stomps on the chair again. Dylan yells out again and rolls over and moves to the apron.

Shots of Spencer Pryce appearing out of nowhere follow before showing him berating Lyman. Lyman goes to nail Pryce with a hard right, but Pryce blocks it. The crowd erupts as Pryce nails Lyman with a hard right of his own and then another and another. He then whips him across the ring. The crowd erupts as Lyman bounces off and Pryce spins around him and locks him up before hitting the Epicplex! The crowd ohs as Lyman rolls through to his knees and then falls forward.

Pryce: “This is what you’ve become! It’s pathetic! And you could have actually done the right thing?!”

Pryce yells at Lyman before then stepping back and spinning through, but Lyman times it such to low blow Pryce, preventing him from connecting with the Receipt. The crowd ohs. Pryce drops down to his knees and then to his side. Lyman just smirks before then dusting his hands off and then miming the use of a wand. He then chuckles before wincing and rolling gingerly out of the ring to the floor.

We then cut to show Jaina in the ring and Simon Lyman rolling in after. A shot of Simon Lyman hitting her with a superkick plays. We see Amy Chastaine appear only for Simon to threaten Jaina with a piledriver.

Lyman: “And with us colliding at Rise to Greatness, a normal match isn’t going to be sufficient to do what I need to do to you so you’ll finally be gone. No…I’m not even going to try to save you anymore. It’s not worth it. You’re too weak. You’ll fall of the wagon again and everyone deserves better. Jaina, Bree…Spencer….Wyatt…”

We see shots of Simon Lyman attacking all but Wyatt.

Lyman: “So at Rise to Greatness, I’m going to drop you and leave you where you should be. There will be no resurrection because I will be the last person standing while you’ll be down on the ground where you permanently belong for everything you’ve done!”

Lyman looks at Amy.

Lyman: “Nod if you agree…”

Chastaine remains in the entrance way, ready to strike.

Lyman: “Nod if you agree or I drive Jaina into the mat and you have more blood on your hands! Another who couldn’t be saved under your weight!”

Amy turns away before nodding slightly.

Lyman: “Good.”

Lyman throws Jaina down. Amy then launches herself in the ring. She slides in as Lyman drops the microphone and rolls out of the ring. He backs up. Amy starts to go for Lyman only to stop and turn and check on Jaina. Lyman walks around the ring.

Lyman: “See you in St. Louis, Amy!”

Amy looks at him as Jaina waves off her mother. Amy turns and grabs the microphone as Lyman walks around to the entrance way and starts to head to the back. Amy turns back to Jaina.

Amy: “You are not going to be leaving St. Louis conscious, Simon!”

The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

Last Person Standing

Blue and white lights flash as a fast drumbeat fills the arena followed by the words:

{I will not be afraid! I will not be afraid!}

The crowd roars as Amy Chastaine appears at the top of the stage. “Hell & Consequences” by Stone Sour continues. She looks around the arena as she steps forward and scans the crowd in the Dome at the America Center. She takes a few deep breaths before then throwing her arm in the air. Blue and red pyro shoots out in the air. She then looks around as her nameplate comes up on the screen.

Phillips: “The following contest is Last Person Standing! First, on her way to the ring, from New Orleans, Louisiana, she is Amy Chastaine!”

Amy Chastaine head down the rampway. She picks up the pace as the camera gets a good look of the focus on her face. She continues down the rampway as the cameras then cut to show her reaching the ring. She hops onto the apron. She then looks around before stepping into the ring. She then runs the ropes a bit before stopping and pacing around the ring, turning to the entrance way.

Sharper: “Amy Chastaine cannot wait for this match to start.”

Knots: “Can finally end this. We hope.”

Sharper: “She’s hoping it. Bree’s hoping it. We all are!”

The sound of church bells can be heard before we start to hear the sounds of harp playing and women singing an aria. The lights on the stage turn white as we see Simon Lyman standing at the top of the stage, dressed in a white robe, with his arms out. He slowly starts to lower down from the heavens as the crowd boos. Amy Chastaine shakes her head in the ring. Lyman continues to slowly lower down.

Sharper: “The delusional nature of that man…”

Knots: “Could be getting pulled from heaven into hell? Depending on what Amy does.”

Simon Lyman continues to lower bit by bit before the aria is held. The lights go out before then “Jesus He Knows Me” by Ghost plays. The crowd boos as Simon Lyman steps forward and extends his arms some more.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from…he says the Land of the Righteous…he is Simon Lyman!”

Lyman continues to extend his arms as he walks down the rampway. Golden pyro shoots out behind him as he walks down to the ring. The cameras cut to a wide shot showing a white light following him. Lyman makes his way down the rampway and reaches the ringside area. He walks over to the steel steps and climbs up them. He looks into the ring and then steps into the ring. He steps forward and stands in the middle of the ring before then undoing his robe and sliding it down. He throws it away and turns and steps back. Simon Lyman looks across at Amy Chastaine as Amy Chastaine glares at Simon Lyman.

Sharper: “If looks could kill…”

Knots: “We’d be in the splash zone.”

Amy then lunges at Simon. Simon backs up and rolls out of the ring. Amy continues to run after him and drops down to the floor. She runs after Simon as Simon runs around the ring. He spins around the ringpost and rolls back into the ring. Amy follows in hot pursuit and slides in after him. Simon runs into the ropes, bounces off and Amy jumps up and takes him down with a Lou Thesz Press. She hammers away as the crowd erupts in cheers. Simon covers up as Amy gets shot after shot in. She then gets up and walks around as Simon gets up and Amy runs at him and hits a dropkick. Simon hits the mat. Amy dives onto him again and nails him with repeated right hands as Simon tries to roll away and gets to the ropes. He manages to, taking a few good shots from Amy before he rolls to the floor. He staggers to the barricade. Amy climbs through the ropes and steps on the apron before diving off and tackling Lyman again, this time, into the barricade. They spin down to the mats. Simon kicks at Amy as Amy rolls over.

Sharper: “Amy not stopping one bit. And that knee, she’s had a history of issues, looking good tonight.”

Knots: “Because it’s motivated by the same hate and anger she has in her brain and heart!”

Amy gets up and Simon gets up only for Amy to blast him with a hard right. Lyman leans back against the barricade and Amy nails him again and again and again. The crowd cheers as Amy then turns and grabs a drink from a fan and nails Simon with it, causing him to fall over, soda covering his face. Amy walks over as Simon crawls over towards the announce position as Amy then grabs the cords and pulls them up and wraps them around Simon’s throat. She starts to pull. Simon grabs at the ringkeeper and grabbing for the bell, dropping down to the floor as Amy continues to choke him.

Sharper: “Simon getting choked by Amy. By those camera cords-“

Knots: “I think he’s trying to end the match. I don’t know if that’s how it works, Simon!”

Sharper: “Maybe by his so-called God.”

Amy keeps pulling as Simon struggles before Amy lets go. She then looks around and then turns and stomps Simon in the back as her eyes dart around. She then walks over to Simon and grabs him and pulls him up and drives him face first into the steel steps. Simon falls back and into the announce tables. He looks up at Knots.

Knots: “Simon! Don’t you wish you hadn’t returned. Look at the chairs we have. So comfy! So soft!”

Amy then grabs Lyman and lifts his head up and drives him face first into the table. He rolls onto the table. He slowly starts to get up. Amy climbs up onto him.

Knots: “Hey! This is the announce table. Simon doesn’t work here anymore!”

Sharper: “Simon and Amy in front of us.”

Knots: “I’m out of here.”

Knots leans back and stands up as Simon goes to nail Amy with a hard right, but Amy blocks it and nails him and then tackles him back onto the Spanish announce table that doesn’t budge at all. Simon bounces as Amy remains on top of him and Amy moves to a side mount and hammers away on Simon Lyman with repeated right hands.

Sharper: “That Spanish table didn’t budge an inch.”

Knots: “I don’t know if that’s better or worse!”

Amy gets a few more shots off and rolls off of Lyman and the table. Amy then looks around and climbs up onto the apron. She looks at Lyman as Lyman remains down, wincing in pain. Amy then looks right at Simon and dives off with an elbow drop off the apron and into Lyman. The table again doesn’t break and Amy bounces off and rolls to the floor. Lyman remains down as Amy then slowly gets up. The official, Jennifer Cassidy, counts.

Amy however grabs Lyman and rolls him off the table. Lyman rolls over and grabs at the ring skirt. Amy then gets up and stomps him in the side once and then again and again. Amy then turns and looks under the ring. She grabs a steel chair. The crowd roars as Simon slowly gets up and Amy slams the chair into his back. Lyman falls over and down to the steel steps. Amy then walks around the ring. She looks at Lyman and then turns and siwngs, going for the head of Simon against the steel steps, but Simon drops down and rolls under the ring. Amy hits the steel steps and she drops the chair. She turns around and Lyman gets up and Amy grabs him, but Lyman kicks her in the ribs. He then hooks her up and hits a vertical suplex on the floor. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman finally getting some offense. A hard vertical suplex on the floor.”

Knots: “He’s already calling for the referee to count!”

Lyman slowly rolls over as he points.

Lyman: “She’s done!”

Lyman falls over to the steel steps, sitting on them. He then grabs at the chair.

Amy rolls over and starts to get up and Lyman then grabs the chair and runs forward and drives it into the ribs of Amy. Lyman slides the chair in as Lyman then grabs Amy and runs her into the steel steps. Amy falls over as the top half bowls over. Lyman then staggers forward. Lyman then grabs Amy and lifts her up. Lyman then drags her over, but Amy nails him in the side and then again before Lyman shoves her back. He rolls into the ring. Amy recovers as Lyman grabs the steel chair and Amy slides in and runs at him and spears him down. The crowd roars. Amy nails him with a series of hard right hands again. She then gets up and walks over to the steel chair. Lyman starts to get up and Amy then looks at him and runs at him and nails him with the steel chair. Lyman gets his hands up as he drops to the mat. Amy then falls forward.

Lyman pulls himself to the apron and then to the floor, staggering to the Spanish announce table. Amy notices this and runs across the ring and bounces off and runs at the ropes and dives through, but Lyman dives out of the way. Amy goes face first into the Spanish announce table and rolls over, in pain. Lyman smirks.

Sharper: “Good God! Amy! Face first into our colleague’s table!”

Knots: “She went head first. Face first. She was looking to take Lyman out!”

Lyman slowly gets up as Amy rolls over. (1)

Lyman however lifts Amy up.

Lyman: “Oh no! We’re just getting started!”

Sharper: “And with Amy hurt…Lyman! Look at this! No….No!”

Lyman then runs Amy face first into the ringpost. Amy spins off and rolls hard into the barricade. Lyman then looks around and smiles. Lyman turns and plays to the crowd as Amy rolls over, a cut visible over her left eye. Blood starts to come out.

Sharper: “And Amy Chastaine is bleeding!”

Knots: “From the table or the ringpost?”

Sharper: “Does it matter? And Lyman isn’t running now. He knows Amy is hurt.”

Lyman walks over to Amy and sees the blood. Amy gets up and swings, but Lyman blocks the right hand and drills her with a hard right of his own. Amy hits the mats. Amy rolls over and Lyman grabs her and pulls her up before nailing her with another hard right. Amy falls to the apron. Lyman then pulls himself up onto the apron and pulls Amy up before showing her off to the crowd. Blood comes down her face and Lyman then hammers away with a series of hard right hands to the face of Amy. Amy then drops to the floor.

Sharper: “A series of hard right hands only opening up that wound more and Amy just dropped to the floor.”

Knots: “Lyman’s now enjoying this. Guess he’s following his own teachings or something!”

Lyman sits on the apron for a moment before dropping down and grabbing Amy. He rolls her into the ring. Lyman rolls in after as Amy starts to get up, falling to a knee from the blood loss and then getting up and turning and Lyman clotheslines her down. Amy hits the mat as Lyman then pulls Amy up again and lifts her up before embracing her. Lyman can be heard saying something. Amy pushes away before Lyman then kicks her in the ribs, hooking her head and hoisting her up. He hits a jackhammer as Lyman turns and sits next to her.

Lyman: “It’s okay, Amy. I know what you need.”

Lyman leans over, saying the above, before rolling out of the ring to the steps nearest the entrance way. He looks under the ring, lifting up the ring skirt and he smiles as he grabs two red solo cups and places them on the apron before grabbing a bottle of amaretto. The crowd boos loudly.

Sharper: “Oh, you son of a bitch!”

Knots: “Oh Simon…”

Lyman places the bottle on the apron and rolls in. He then turns and grabs it again and twists off the cap. He throws it down before turning to Amy who starts to get up and Lyman walks over and stomps her in the face. She ends up on her back. Lyman then squats down next to her.

Lyman: “Want a taste? To help?”

Lyman then pours some of the amaretto into the face of Amy. Amy recoils and rolls away. The crowd boos. Lyman just smirks as he then takes a swig. He smiles.

Lyman: “Refreshing! Don’t you agree!”

Lyman then stomps her again. He then pours some more. Amy recoils, pulling away, and rubbing it out of her wound.

Sharper: “Amy is a noted recovering alcoholic and Lyman is pissing all of that.”

Knots: “Even brought her favourite!”

Amy rolls over as Lyman then walks over and grabs her and pulls her by the hair. He goes to dump some more, but Amy punches him in the stomach. The crowd roars. Lyman drops the bottle. Amy then grabs it, some of the liquor pouring on the mat and then swings and nails Lyman in the head with the bottom, causing it to shatter on Lyman’s head. The crowd roars. Lyman falls face first into the mat, covering his face. Amy looks at her hand, wincing and pulling herself up. Lyman then looks up, blood coming down his face from a cut to the forehead.

Sharper: “And Lyman busted open. That bottle! Amy smashing that bottle of liquor over his head.”

Knots: “And the alcohol too. That’s going to burn.”

Lyman looks up as Amy turns and stomps him in the face. Lyman rolls over. Amy stops him again. She then walks around the ring and sees the chair and pulls it up. She walks over and slams it into the back of Lyman. Lyman yells in pain. Amy slams it again into his back. She then does it a third time and steps back. She points. Cassidy counts.

Lyman starts to pull himself up, getting on his hands and knees and Amy runs over and hits a running leg drop, driving the chair into the back of his head. Amy rolls off. Lyman rolls over and moves to the ropes. He starts to get up and Amy walks over and grabs him and then just starts to dig into the wound. Lyman yells out. She turns his back to the ropes and nails her with a couple of hard rights to the wound. Lyman shoves her off. Amy steps up and Lyman nails her with a hard right and then another before Amy shoves him back and hits the Lightning Striker. The crowd roars as Amy looks up from a kneeling position, yelling out.

Sharper: “Amy got all of that Lightning Strike. Right to the jaw.”

Knots: “Both are losing a lot of blood. Both trying to keep the bleeding going too. That’s going to make your weaker.”

Sharper: “The canvas covered in the blood, mostly of Amy. Simon Lyman’s is joining that.”

Amy then rolls to the floor. Amy moves to the ring and looks underneath before pulling out a table. The crowd roars. She lifts it up and unfolds the table legs. She then places it next to the ring. Amy then turns and looks under the ring again and grabs a second steel chair. She places it on the apron. She then rolls into the ring. Amy gets up as Simon stirs and Amy dives onto him and hammers away on him with repeated right hands. Simon’s face continues to be covered by blood, covering Amy’s hands. She then gets up and walks around the ring. Simon falls back and looks around. He turns and rolls over. He then gets up and Amy then grabs the second chair. She then turns and sees Lyman getting up only for her to throw the chair at his head. Lyman falls over to the mat and rolls over to the ropes. Amy then grabs him and drags him over to the apron. She steps through and drags him through the ropes and onto the apron. Suddenly, however, Lyman counters by breaking her hold, kicking her in the ribs and then bending her over and hoisting her up before hitting a piledriver off the apron through the table! The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “Oh my God! Lyman countered. Piledriver through the table to the floor!”

Knots: “And that could be it! Lyman didn’t hesitate there. Gotta take out the Devil!”

Amy Chastaine is down in a heap. The crowd roars.

REPLAY:

We see Lyman suddenly breaking Chastaine’s hold before kicking her in the ribs, bending her over and hoisting her up with a piledriver through the table on the floor.

Lyman rolls over and away. He leans against the barricade and waves at Amy

Amy rolls over and crawls forward. Lyman then gets up and rolls into the ring. (7) He grabs a chair and places it between the top and middle turnbuckles. (8) Amy then pulls herself up and grimaces in pain, holding her head and neck in pain. She then rolls into the ring. She gets up and Lyman goes for a hard right. Amy blocks it and nails him with a hard right and then another before she goes for a third. Lyman ducks and Amy runs into the ropes, bouncing off but Lyman kicks Amy in the ribs. He places her head between his legs and then up into a powerbomb position before then moving back and throwing her over, head first with the Smite into the chair shoved between the turnbuckles. Amy falls back, ending up on her feet and then falls to her back. The crowd ohs. Lyman smirks.

Sharper: “The Smite into the chair! And she may be out.”

Knots: “Second big move to the head and neck! First the piledriver, now the Smite!”

Lyman crawls over and grabs the chair and leans on it. Amy remains down.

Amy rolls over and crawls to the corner. Lyman runs over and slams the chair into her back. The crowd ohs. Simon drops the chair. He then grabs her and shakes his head. He then hoists her up and onto his shoulders. The crowd roars. He climbs up to the first turnbuckle and then steps up to the second. He looks around and looks over to the floor. The crowd picks up on this and they roar. He steps up to the top rope, looking around.

Sharper: “Oh my God! He’s not…”

Knots: “He’s going to send her to the floor! He’s going to drive her to the floor! This is…He’s trying to end her career!”

Sharper: “From the Heavens….not to the floor. Not to the floor!”

Lyman steps up, but Amy fights out and elbows him in the jaw once and then again before flipping down and countering with a sunset flip powerbomb. The crowd ohs. Lyman rolls through to his stomach. Amy then steps up and grabs him, dragging him up and seeing the chair down in the ring and hooking his head, hitting the Vortex into the steel chair. The crowd roars. Both are down at this point.

Amy rolls over, crawling to the ropes. (5) She uses them to start to get up. Lyman stirs. (6) He moves in the opposite direction. (7) Amy gets up to her feet. Lyman then grabs at the ropes and gets up to hers before Amy then lunges across and goes for the Lightning Strike, but Lyman sidesteps and hoists her up and spins her around into the Change of Attitude. Lyman rolls through and smiles.

Sharper: “Amy, maybe the most desperate she’s been all match…”

Knots: “Desperate or the rage is too much…Lyman countering there.”

Sharper: “With the Change of Attitude…think of that move name in all of this!”

Lyman then looks around as he sees the two chairs so far used in the match and grabs one of them. Lyman then walks over to Amy.

Lyman: “Time for this to end…for you to end! For us all!”

Lyman then stomps her in the head. He turns and unfolds the chair before placing it around the head of Amy. The crowd roars as Amy struggles a bit, blood on her hands, face, and now onto the chair. Lyman then looks at Amy and leans down.

Lyman: “I’m done playing…”

Lyman then turns back and grabs the second steel chair and turns as the crowd can be heard growing in anticipation of something. We then see a man in a black hoodie hop the barricade and roll into the ring. Lyman steps up and lifts the chair up over his head only for the man to run over to Lyman, spin him around and then jumps up and hits a leaping reverse STO. The crowd ohs. Lyman rolls over to the mat, blood still coming down his face, and his impact leaving more blood in the mat. The man then turns and rolls over as Amy slides the chair off her head. She rolls over as the crowd continues to grow in anticipation.

Sharper: “Who the hell is that?”

Knots: “They just saved Amy! And Amy looks confused…”

The man then turns to Amy as Amy’s eyes widen and the man pulls the hood down revealing themselves to be Andrew Raynes. The crowd erupts in a roar.

Chastaine: “Why?”

Raynes says nothing, stepping back and dropping down to the mat and rolling to the floor. Amy glances over at him.

Sharper: “Andrew Raynes?! Andrew Raynes just saved Amy Chastaine?!”

Knots: “What in the hell? Raynes hates Chastaine!”

Sharper:” And he just saved her! Even Amy is shocked!”

Andrew Raynes then walks around the ring as Amy turns back to Lyman. Lyman stirs and Amy takes the chair and unfolds it. Lyman gets up. She then turns and drives the chair into the ribs of Lyman leans over and Amy places the chair in front of him. Amy then looks at him and then jumps to the middle turnbuckle and dives back, hitting the Blackout, driving Lyman’s throat into the back of the chair. Lyman falls back, coughing and spasming in pain.

Sharper: “Blackout! Blackout!”

Knots: “Throat first. How is he going to spread his message now?!”

Sharper: “Maybe the point!”

Lyman remains down as Cassidy goes to count. Amy shakes her head and folds the chair back up. She crawls over on her knees and places the chair under Lyman’s head. She then looks at him as Lyman coughs, struggling. Amy then grabs the second chair and staggers back over. Amy then looks down at Lyman.

Chastaine: “Go fuck yourself!”

Chastaine then lifts the chair over her head and slams it down into Lyman’s head with the Conchairto! The crowd roars. Amy then falls back into the ropes. She points. Lyman is now down, clearly unconscious.

Sharper: “Conchairto! Lyman’s head sandwiched between those chairs and Jennifer Cassidy, the official, counting!”

Cassidy calls for the bell. The bell sounds. Chastaine collapses to her knees. Andrew Raynes look on from the rampway, turns and heads to the back.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, Amy Chastaine!”

The camera shows Amy Chastaine glaring at Lyman, pure anger in her eyes. Lyman is then shown, still unconscious, Cassidy now checking on him.

Sharper: “Amy Chastaine…that look says it all. After everything Lyman has put her, her family, her business through. Amy Chastaine has left Lyman unconscious!”

Knots: “She survived this. And Lyman got everything he deserved!”

Amy Chastaine slowly gets up and looks out at the crowd. She then throws her arms in the air, letting out a yell.

Sharper: “That woman has been through hell and we’ve noticed how much more aggressive she’s been since Taking Hold of the Flame. It paid off here.”

Knots: “Still, thank about what else…Andrew Raynes?”

Sharper: “I don’t know what to say there. But that…that Amy can figure out after. We can figure out after. For now, let us just enjoy this. Simon Lyman out and Amy Chastaine standing tall!”

Amy Chastaine continues to celebrate in the ring as the crowd cheers her as the scene cuts away.

We open up in an old time Western town. We then see Xander Valentine step out of a saloon. He looks around before we then see James Evans, Scott Reed, Kirsten Scott, Kandis, and David Striker all walking into the middle of the town. A tumbleweed blows by. We then cut to close up shots of each of the people, showing their eyes, some grabbing at the sidearms at their waistbands. Just then, YUYO shows up in full attire and with her staff. It starts to glow.

YUYO: “YUYO is here!”

Striker: “Ah…screw it…”

Striker then suddenly pulls out a shotgun. From where, we don’t know. He then starts to fire. We then hear cackling as we see Derek Adonis running through the area.

Adonis: “KABLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!”

We hear gunshots and smoke comes from the guns as people run for cover. We see Konrad Raab diving over a railing, before showing a shot of Leroy Adams calmly sipping a beer. The scene goes opaque and the Rise to Greatness XXII logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut back to see CHBK, Hiro Tanaka, Lucas Knight, and Dillusion, all where sheriffs badges. They all just sigh.

CHBK: “We were gone one minute!”

The scene cuts away.

We open up with a shot of the outside of the The Dome at America Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Sharper: “We are live in St. Louis. It’s been a hell of a night in St. Louis tonight. We look forward to being in Houston next year for Rise to Greatness XXII.”

Knots: “How do you think Selena liked that? Wild West, eh?”

Sharper: “What she’s fighting for…her vision.”

“Hellbound” by Autumn Kings plays as the RTG XXI logo comes up on the screen. We then see a shot of Josh Hudson and then a shot of Selena Frost before showing both.

Sharper: “World Title on the line. Hudson earned the shot by winning the Taking Hold of the Flame. Selena Frost with her fourth consecutive Rise to Greatness main event. And they meet, tonight!”

The RTG XXI logo comes up on the screen.

We open up with a shot of Selena Frost laying on the mat after having defeated Xander Valentine at Taking Hold of the Flame. She smiles as she clutches her title. She starts to almost laugh as pyro shoots around the stadium. We then cut to Josh Hudson getting up after having won the Taking Hold of the Flame. He looks around as pyro shoots around the top of Wembley Stadium. Hudson lets out a yell of accomplishment as he raises his arms.

We then cut to see Selena Frost in the ring.

Selena: “Another challenger…another victory.”

The crowd boos as Selena looks around. We see shots of Selena victorious against Xander Valentine, Kandis, Asher Hayes, and Kirsten Scott.

Selena: “I have pushed away and countered the damage done while I was away, reminding SCW and all of you what you had. And I return to Rise to Greatness to defend the World Championship at that event for the fourth consecutive year!”

We then cut to show shots of Selena Frost standing across from Ace Marshall, before showing her across from Adam Allocco, then Kandis.

Selena: “Four years in a row. And this year, last year’s stench will finally go away. But!”

Selena pauses as she looks around.

Selena: “As SCW has people who have no care for this title, who just see it as something to accomplish, instead of being the standard that it is, I think it’s more than damning that SCW needed to rely on help from outside. No one on this roster…Kandis, Xander, Polly, Kirsten, Syren…they couldn’t rise to the occasion. They could not prove me wrong. They could not just do things as they should and compete and win….and instead…”

Selena scoffs.

Selena: “SCW needed a legend…a hall of famer…just to have someone who could stand with me on this stage. And it’s Josh Hudson!”

We then hear the beginning of “Duality” by Slipknot before showing Josh Hudson standing with Bree Lancaster on the stage.

Hudson: “Don’t worry, Selena. The spotlight will be back on your soon enough because whether I like or not, Bree, these fans, the people in the back, whoever likes it or not, you are the World Champion.”

The crowd boos.

Hudson: “And I plan to end that at Rise to Greatness XXI. You can call me an outsider but I’ve been marching up and down the so-called halls of SCW for over twenty years. THIS is a company I helped build. And Selena, I know the path you’re on more than anyone else. Because I’ve fought it too!”

The crowd roars.

Hudson: “The get it done in the ring, wrestling machine…”

We see shots of Josh Hudson attacking CHBK before showing him fighting Rachel Foxx, attacking Jason Zero, and fighting Xander Valentine.

That was me before it was cool. The anti-hardcore, why do people need weapons…yeah, I did that too. Do we need gimmicks? Why use weapons? Why attack people from behind…unless they deserve it…I’ve done it too. See, Selena, I’ve done everything you have. The only difference is that I didn’t need to go the contract route…except when I was young, dumb son of a bitch that had a different name and I rapped to the God damn right. The early-2000s were a trip! And get what?”

Hudson looks at Selena.

Hudson: “I got my ass kicked. But then I did the impossible. You beat Xander? I ended his undefeated streak! You were synonymous with integrity. So was I. And yeah, I’ve also thrown it all away because of ego. Happens when you’ve been in this sport long enough.”

We see shots of Sienna Swann defeating Hudson, before showing Owen Cruze doing the same.

Hudson: “From CHBK to the Mercenaries to Jason Zero to Jake Starr to Xander Valentine to Shilo Valiant to Shawn Winters to Cid Turner to Regan Street to Kelcey Wallace to Ace Marshall to Sienna Swann to Infamous and now to you…I have outlasted it all.”

Selena: “Owen Cruze?”

Hudson stops and smirks as the crowd ohs.

Hudson: “I beat him at Rise to Greatness. You know, like Kandis did. That win you want us all to forget. And Selena, what happens when you lose that title? You know that answer. Next week you’re going to face some of the consequences. The barbarians are at the gates, Selena. Your causing. And when you’re no longer World Champion, you’ll have nothing more to protect you. And trust me, from someone who has been there…you need that reality check.”

The crowd roars. Bree smirks, rubbing her hands enjoying this.

Hudson: “At Rise to Greatness, I’m going to give you a wrestling lesson, Selena. And BELIEVE me when I say…it’s a long time coming!”

Selena: “We’ll see Josh. We’ll see…But until then, I close the show.”

“Hellbound” by Autumn Kings starts to play. We then see Selena Frost hit Kirsten Scott with the Glass Shard. Boos can be heard as we see She smirks as she rolls off. Just then, we see Josh Hudson walking over to her, entering the ring, and looking down at her. Selena’s demeanor changes.

We then see shots of Josh Hudson facing Polly Pingotti. We then see him hitting a top rope belly to belly suplex on Pingotti before showing Hudson hitting the Kingdom Come from different angles. We see Hudson covering Pingotti.

The bell is heard sounding. We then see Hudson getting up as Selena slides in, only for the two to stand face to face over Polly.

We then see shots of Selena Frost talking to Aaron Demitra backstage, before showing her talking to Lucas Knight, and then threatening CHBK. We see shots of Selena Frost flipping through contracts and shaking her head. We see her getting in CHBK’s face backstage as Josh Hudson’s words echo.

Josh: “You see, the best champions take on all comers and in all avenues of battle. You want to say you’re the best…or that title stands for it, you prove it, no matter the condition. Selena, you have too many conditions. Let Ravyn scheme. As much as I think the European Fiery Nation are a stain on this sport, and their own approach is foolish, I do believe that if you’re in this sport, and you can’t survive outside of your comfort zone, you will never succeed!”

We see shots of Josh Hudson bloodied, and bruised, before showing him fighting Owen Cruze, Simon Lyman, Xander Valentine, Jake Starr and others over the years. We see a shot of Selena Frost now in a steel cage.

We see shots of Selena wrestling Polly Pingotti inside the steel cage before showing her throwing Polly into the steel cage, and then showing her counting herself out while kicking away at Polly against the ropes. This is followed by the same with Selena choking Polly. We then cut to show Polly fighting back before eventually showing Selena managing to hit the Glass Shard, knocking her down. Then we see Selena Frost pulling herself to her feet after the victory. She then raises her arm, her face blooded.

We see a shot of Selena Frost now in her sitdown interview with Sharper.

Selena: “I have those legal provisos not because I’m trying to limit people. I want those claiming they want to be the best, to be at this high level, to compete in the middle of the ring. They fight me, win clean, I’ll respect that. That’s all. And no one has been able to rise to that occasion. Look at Kirsten Scott and Kandis today. Has Kandis done anything that’s not dirty? Kirsten Scott barely was able to keep it on the level. Xander needed Kandis to come down to the ring. And look at the target on my back.”

We see Selena holding a contract in her hand during her contract signing against Kandis.

Josh Hudson is then shown fighting Polly Pingotti, Simon Lyman, and Ravyn Taylor. We see Ravyn Taylor breaking the rules, stomping past a four count, and Ravyn using a steel chair, before showing Hudson fighting back, hitting a snap suplex onto Ravyn and showing him hitting a belly to belly suplex on the floor. Shots of Ravyn Taylor hitting a kendo-stick assisted Russian leg sweep on Hudson follows before showing Ravyn thumbing Hudson’s eyes, only for Hudson to spray a fire extinguisher in her face.

Hudson: “Selena…I’ll show you and SCW what something different looks like. No narrative needed to spin it. No need to talk about how people aren’t deserving. You’re the so-called best, Selena. Well you’ve been surviving for too long. Miss Main Event, the show closes with you not standing tall, but you relieved, looking at the lights, knowing you’ve gotten another night where you win or you’re still champion. Well, I don’t survive. I win or I lose. And on whatever terms show up. Underground. Steel Cage. Whatever.”

We then see Selena Frost hitting the Glass Shard on Josh Hudson after the fire extinguisher spray. Hudson lands on Ravyn. Selena just looks down at him. We see the Glass Shard hit over and over.

Selena: “A difference of opinion – you think it’s okay that it can be the Wild West. That anyone can just do whatever. As champion, you step up. I agree there. But why have to jump through hoops because people are lazy, want to take a short cut, don’t have it in them to step up and do it the right way. Again, Josh, I know you’re a trainer. Is that what you tell them? Oh, you want to be World Champion? Just jump them in the back? The parking lot? This is what I’m fighting for. These fans whether they like it or not WANT what I give them. Come Rise to Greatness, they KNOW they will see Josh Hudson against Selena Frost for the World Championship. A hall of famer, a former World Champion, a top star for twenty years, one of the most decorated people in SCW history – I’ll give you ALL of that. Against me, one of the greatest wrestlers in SCW history too. And instead of looking to the stage and seeing who will run out. Or waiting for chaos. They can watch us compete to see who is the BEST!”

Shots of Selena Frost hitting the Glass Shard on Polly Pingotti, on Kirsten Scott, and on Josh Hudson again. We see shots of Selena Frost smiling, laying on her back, enjoying her win. We then see shots of Hudson suplexing opponents and hitting the Kingdom Come on others, before showing him standing tall. We then see Selena fighting to her feet and holding up the World Championship.

SCW World Championship

The bell sounds.

Phillips: “The following contest is the main event, scheduled for onefall, with a sixty minute time limit, and is for the SCW World Championship.

The SCW World Championship logo comes across the screen. “Duality” blares through the PA system.

"I push my fingers into my eyes..."

The cameras show the crowd who begin cheering before zooming in at the entrance way, where Josh Hudson steps out. The lights on the stage also are black.

"It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
But it's made of all the things I have to take
Jesus, it never ends, it works it's way inside
If the pain goes on...I'm not gonna make it!"

He wears a sleeveless black hoodie as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. The cameras follow him down as he just focuses on the ring.

Sharper: “No flash. Nothing but one thing in his mind – to walk out World Champion.”

Knots: “We’re going to see the cinematics, the flash, the sizzle with Selena Frost. Josh Hudson knows only one thing matters when the bell rings – the steak.”

Sharper: “That’s not to say Selena won’t be focusing there. But Selena loves the pageantry. We’ve seen her call this the Unbelievable Main Event every year. She makes it special for her and therefore meaning so much more. This is Josh’s first, and it may be his only Rise to Greatness main event. That’s special enough.”

Phillips: “First, the challenger…from New York City, New York, he is the winner of the 2024 Taking Hold of the Flame. He is Josh Hudson!”

He reaches the bottom of the ramp, and he looks out to the crowd before making his way up the ring steps and climbs into the ring.

"I have screamed until my veins collapsed
I've waited as my time's elapsed
Now, all I do is live with so much hate
I've wished for this, I've bitched at that
I've left behind this little fact
You cannot kill what you did not create
I've gotta say what I've gotta say
And then, I swear, I'll go away
But I can't promise you'll enjoy the noise
I guess I'll save the best for last

He goes to the bottom right-hand corner, climbing to the top rope.

Hudson is shown staring out at the crowd once again, as he lifts both fists into the air, earning more cheers before he climbs down and leans into the turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin. The crowd chants for Hudson as his music fades out. Hudson looks around.

Slowly, the opening tunes of an epic remix is heard, the notes of Ava Max’s “Kings and Queens” slowly growing into a raging orchestra. From the top of the big screen, her back to the audience, stands a woman in an ice-blue gown! She stands on the large structure several feet above the ground. At the bottom on the rampway stands countless people, all with signs and shouting “WE BELIEVE! WE BELIEVE!” and though the audience tries to shout, the music and their shouts are amplified. Boos come from the crowd trying to drown out the plants. Above, as the music plays, the woman, still with her back to the audience suddenly swings a flag with the SCW logo back and forth! The music and image play loudly as spotlights are on the champion of SCW!

Slowly, however, the music begins to bend and warp and some of the real audience of SCW can be heard shouting “NO, WE DON’T! NO, WE DON’T!”. Undeterred, the woman keeps proudly swinging the flag back and forth, but soon, the crowd around her and the crowd below her begin to speak the same, cursing her and shouting their disbelief! The music continues to be twisted and warped, almost unrecognizable as the guardian-warrior’s moves start to get tired as she struggles to keep fighting. Below her, a fire begins to be shown through the LSD system, projected on the ramp, sides and parts of the ‘crowd’ below her.

Suddenly, the SCW flag, seemingly from the fire below catches fire, but the woman keeps swinging it, trying desperately to keep going. Soon, the flag is ablaze and in one great explosion of flame, the woman is also alight, plummeting down to the masses where she disappears amidst their jeers and disbelief, the lights all going out.

A second passes as the SCW Universe are stunned to silent. Slowly, however, a dark-blue smoke seems to grow from the depths and onto the ramp where the ‘crowd’ is, a faint guitar tune being played.

“They all laughed as she turned around slow.
You ain’t welcome around here anymore. You might as well go.
She wiped the blood from her face as she slowly came to her knees.
She said I’ll be back when you least expect it…and hell’s coming with me…
Hell’s coming with me…”

The music continues to play its haunting melody as the smoke grows and continues to billow when suddenly it breaks into an up-tempo rock as “Hell’s Coming with Me” by Poor Man’s Poison is heard!

From the smoke, where the brave woman fell, out rises what remains as the SCW world champion, Selena Frost, emerges! She is dressed in gear with red accents and a crown that looks like bone-devil horns. On her back, like a cape, is the singed remains of the SCW flag, with burn marks and holes and yet, still, bearing the SCW logo. Around her waist, shining amidst the lights, is the SCW world championship.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Nome, Alaska, by way of Manhattan, New York, she is the Snow Queen, the SCW World Champion…Selena Frost!”

Slowly, the Blue-Eyed Devil makes her way down to the ring, eyes on the ring and on Josh Hudson as the song continues to play. She makes it to the steps and steps up them and into the ring. Once inside, she moves to the center where she slowly removes the world championship, a smirk on her face.

With a flourish, she gestures to the rampway she emerged from, suddenly sending blue ‘fire’ to spout from it, racing down the ramp and around the ring through the LED screens until she gestures to the sky, eliciting a series of blue-fire pyro to go off in display as the music hits its full note! The pyro fades and Selena stands there, holding her title up before lowering it and casting a grin at Hudson before handing the title gentle to Aaron Demitra, her eyes on him for a second as she welcomes him to the main-event. Removing her cape and crown, the Snow Queen stands in the middle of the ring, the crowd deafening with their boos.

Sharper: “We mentioned the pomp and circumstance.”

Knots: “Still standing for her True Believers. How many of them are left? Do they need to be paid?”

Sharper: “Yet, she has come out of it and we’ve heard it tonight and on various commentaries. She may be the best in SCW right now, period. No one has been able to touch her. Josh Hudson hopes to undo that tonight.”

The bell sounds as the crowd roars with loud “Not We Don’t!” chants drowning out any small amount of “We Believe!” chants. Selena Frost looks around before turning right to Josh Hudson. Hudson looks at her and he steps up. He extends his arms as Selena Frost then looks around before then stepping up toward Hudson and nailing him with a hard right. Selena nails him again and again before Hudson takes her down with a double leg takedown. He rolls off, however. Selena rolls over and gets up and Hudson grabs her arm and wrenches it before moving into a top wrist lock. He looks right at Selena as Selena looks up at him. He then starts to push forward, and Selena starts to bridge back. The crowd roars as Hudson forces her back. He keeps looking at her before then kneeing her in the side. She falls to the mat.

Selena gets her shoulder up and twists over. Hudson holds on and Selena then rolls forward, breaking Hudson’s grasp. Hudson turns back and Selena nips up and then hits a back kick to the ribs. She then wrenches his arm.

Sharper: “And Hudson showing his technical prowess. We’ve not seen a top wrist lock in a while!”

Knots: “And Selena thought quick and now a kick and arm wrench of her own.”

Selena jerks on the arm. Hudson winces and then reaches up and then turns and snaps her over with an arm drag. Selena gets up and turns and Hudson moves into a side headlock. Selena reaches around and gets Hudson to the ropes and fires him off. He bounces off and Selena hits a drop toe hold. She gets up and goes for an elbow drop. Hudson moves out of the way. Selena turns and gets up and Hudson takes her over with an arm drag into an arm bar. Selena kicks at the mat.

Sharper: “And Hudson countering, dodging, and then the arm bar.”

Knots: “He’s intentionally trying to outwrestle her. He wants to get in her head early.”

Selena kicks at the mat some more before slowly getting up. Hudson holds on and both get up. Hudson then wrenches the arm and Selena winces before Hudson whips her into the corner. Hudson runs after and Selena floats over. She spins around. Hudson runs at her, but Selena hits another drop toe hold. She then moves into a side headlock.

Sharper: “Side headlock this time. No elbow drop. Don’t know if that was her rethinking a plan or just keeping control.”

Hudson slowly gets his knees under him and up to his feet. Selena holds on and Hudson tries to move her around, but Selena punches him in the head. Hudson falls to a knee. Selena turns and hits a left shoot kick to the chest. Hudson staggers and Selena shoves her back and goes for the pin.

Hudson kicks out. Selena rolls off. Hudson gets up and Selena forearms him in the jaw once and then again and again before then running into the ropes. Hudson goes for a clothesline. Selena grabs the arm and jumps up and into a crucifix pin.

Hudson kicks out. Both get up and Selena grabs at him in a front face lock, but Hudson lifts her up and spears her back into the corner. He tries to get free for shoulder thrusts, but Selena holds onto the head. Demitra calls for the break.

Selena lets go, lifting her arms. Hudson slowly backs up. The two look at one another.

Sharper: “Clean break. And you can see the tension there.”

Knots: “Demitra in this too and this is something Selena wanted. She wanted him as the official. She felt he was slighted and Demitra wants nothing to do with Selena’s crusade.”

Sharper: “Collateral damage. His reputation caught in this too.”

Hudson backs up as Selena looks at him and motions for him to get back. Selena walks along the ropes. Hudson watches as Selena then turns and steps up, arms up, and the two lock up in the middle of the ring. Hudson moves into a side headlock. Selena drags him to the ropes and fires him off. He bounces off and Selena drops down. Hudson hops over and bounces off the other side. Selena leapfrogs over and Hudson hits the ropes and Selena hits a jumping dropkick. The crowd ohs. Selena smirks and hooks the legs.

Hudson kicks out. Both get up and Selena chops Hudson. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. He ends up in the corner before Selena mounts him and nails him with repeated right hands to the jaw. The crowd boos. Selena then drops down, grabbing his head and running out for a bulldog. Hudson however shoves her forward into the opposite corner. She goes in back first. Hudson run after and Selena gets a boot up. Hudson staggers out and Selena runs out and hits a spinning heel kick.

Sharper: “And those kicks doing the damage. Selena using her feet whenever she can.”

Knots: “Hudson trying to close the distance to stop that, but she’s making the distance and then kicking him in the face and anywhere else she can.”

Hudson turns and starts to get up and Selena pulls him up before then pulling him back with a neckbreaker. She hooks the leg.

Hudson kicks out. A “Hudson!” chant begins as Selena just shakes her head and waits for him to get to his hands and knees and nails him with a hard right. Hudson staggers off to the ropes. Selena then chops him. Woos echo through the arena. Selena then grabs him and goes to whip him across. Hudson hits the opposite ropes and Selena lowers her head, but Hudson then grabs her and goes into an inside cradle!

Selena kicks out. Both get up and Hudson kicks her in the ribs, hooks her head and arm and hits a vertical suplex. Selena winces and rolls over and moves to the corner. Hudson follows up and shoulders her in the ribs.

Sharper: “First suplex of the match for Hudson. And now Selena moving to the corner.”

Knots: “Keeping her back off the mat. Doesn’t want to get caught.”

Sharper: “She did a bit ago though with that lowered head. Just too soon. Too eager.”

Hudson shoulders her again and then whips her across the ring. Selena hits the corner and staggers out. Hudson grabs her and sets up for a belly to belly, but Selena knees him in the ribs and then takes him over with an inside cradle attempt of her own.

Hudson kicks out. Both get up and Selena hits a kick to the ribs before then a hitting a jumping enziguri. Hudson falls to the mat. Selena then runs to the ropes, jumping to the middle turnbuckle and diving back with a leg drop. She rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Hudson kicks out. He rolls over and starts to get up. Selena walks over and grabs him from behind and runs him face first into the turnbuckle. Hudson turns around and Selena kicks him in the ribs once and then again and again and again and again. Hudson drops down to a seated position and Selena stomps at him.

Selena steps and walks around the ring, holding her hands out, each showcasing the five count. The crowd boos. Hudson grabs at the ropes, slowly pulling himself up.

Sharper: “Selena now using the rules to her advantage. Knowing the five count.”

Knots: “Even rubbing it into the fans here. And trust me, they need help. Anything over two and they struggle here!”

Sharper: “Stop it!”

Selena then runs at Hudson and hits a vicious dropkick. The crowd ohs. Hudson falls out of the corner and down to the mat. Selena goes for the pin.

Hudson gets his shoulder up. Hudson rolls over and Selena grabs him and pulls him up before then getting him a kneeling position. She kicks him in the back. Hudson winces. Selena rears back and hits another shoot kick to the back. Hudson leans back and then Selena runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Hudson suddenly steps up and grabs her and hits an overhead belly to belly suplex. The crowd roars.

Knots: “There we go!”

Sharper: “Overhead! Belly to belly. Hudson made sure to get it.”

Selena rolls over and stirs as Hudson rolls over and gets up and Selena staggers up and runs at him, but Hudson then hoists Selena up onto his shoulders. The crowd erupts and Selena slides down his back. Hudson elbows her in the jaw and then spins around her into waistlock and hits a release German suplex. The crowd cheers. Selena rolls through to the ropes. Hudson turns around and crawls over as Selena rolls to the floor. She then staggers over to the barricade. (1) Hudson exits the ring and drops down. (1) He walks over and nails Selena with a hard right. Selena falls to the barricade. (2) The crowd roars. Hudson then scoops her up and drops her chest first on the top of the barricade. (3) Selena spins off and drops to a knee. Hudson walks over and grabs her and scoops her up again and drops her on the barricade. (4) Selena stumbles over to the barricade.

Sharper: “Hudson manhandling the World Champion!”

Knots: “And he’s keeping that count in mind!”

Sharper: “Up to five.”

Selena starts to climb up to the apron and Hudson heads over and Selena boots him in the face.(5) He staggers back. Selena climbs onto the apron and then backs up. Hudson steps over and Selena runs over and kicks him in the face. Hudson hits the mats. (6) Selena then enters the ring. Selena walks around the ring. (7) Hudson stirs, the crowd starts to make noise as Hudson grabs at the ring apron. (8) Hudson gets up to his feet and Selena runs at Hudson and goes for a baseball slide. Hudson moves out of the way. Selena slides to the floor. (1) Hudson then grabs her and whips her into the steel steps. (2) Selena falls over. Hudson turns and walks over to her. (3) He drags her up and rolls her into the ring. Hudson rolls in after. Selena slowly stirs and Hudson walks up behind her and locks in a sleeper. The crowd cheers as Selena reaches out.

Sharper: “And a sleeper!”

Knots: “Oh if Selena lost and wasn’t even conscious…”

Sharper: “Hudson looking to make her pass out! She’d lose all control.”

Frost reaches out and tries to fight. Hudson keeps the hold on as Selena tries to get away before trying to stomp at Hudson’s feet, but Hudson then hoists her up and drops her with a sleeper slam. He hooks the leg.

Selena gets her shoulder up. She rolls over. Hudson then walks over and grabs her and pulls her up. He then hooks her up and goes for a back suplex. Selena however backflips back and staggers back to the corner. Hudson then turns and runs over and Selena gets a boot up. Hudson turns back and turns and Selena then runs out and hits a flying headscissors. Hudson rolls through and turns and Selena then hits a dropkick. Hudson drops to the mat. Selena then crawls to the corner. She then exits to the apron and then climbs up to the top rope. Hudson stirs as Selena gets to the top rope, but then, Hudson gets up and runs to the corner, running up to the top rope and grabs Selena and hits a top rope overhead belly to bely suplex. The crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “Off the top! Selena launched!”

Knots: “She’s going airborne here!”

Sharper: “And Hudson short-circuiting Selena’s counter-offense!”

Hudson rolls over and crawls over and hooks the leg.

Selena gets her shoulder up. Selena rolls to her side. Hudson looks up and then starts to get up. He then grabs Selena and pulls her up. He then moves her to the ropes and nails her with a hard right. He then whips her across the ring. Selena bounces off and Hudson then scoops her up and hits a tilt-a-whirl slam. Hudson pulls on the legs.

Selena kicks out. She rolls over and moves to the ropes. Hudson then gets up as Selena crawls to the ropes. Hudson grabs her by the leg and Selena grabs at the middle ropes and then flips forward and sends Hudson through the ropes to the floor. He lands on his feet and stops at the French announce table.(1) He turns around and moves to the ring and Selena runs at him and hits a baseball slide.(2) Hudson falls back and rolls onto the table.(3) He shakes his head. Selena sees this and then climbs up to the top rope. The crowd rises to their feet.(4) Hudson starts to get up on the table and Selena then looks at him and dives off towards Hudson, grabbing his head and driving him through the table with a huge DDT. The crowd ohs and the crowd erupts. Demitra exits to the floor to check on both.

Sharper: “My God! Through the French announce table. Selena Frost risking herself to taking Hudson down and maybe out for good!”

Knots: “She grabbed his head and hit a DDT!”

Sharper: “From the ring to through the table!”

Demitra checks on Selena and then checks on Hudson.

REPLAY:

We see Selena on the top rope. Hudson starts to get up on the table and Selena dives off, landing on Hudson’s head and forcing him through the table with a DDT. Both remain down as the table explodes. The RTG XXI logo comes up and we see the move from another angle.

Selena rolls over in pain. Hudson remains down as Selena slowly rolls to her side.

Selena looks around as Demitra returns to the ring to count. (1) Selena looks over at Hudson. Hudson slowly lifts his head, revealing some blood coming from the side of his head, having been cut by something on the table. (2) Selena slowly gets up and sees this. She then grabs Hudson by the head. (3) She drags him up and runs him into the ring. Hudson rolls over and down to the mat. Selena leans on the apron for a moment. (4) She then climbs up to the apron and then climbs up to the top rope. Hudson remains down and Selena looks at him and dives off with a top rope elbow drop. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Elbow drop! Hudson hurt! Selena! Here’s the cover!”

Selena hooks the leg.

Hudson shoots his shoulder up. Selena looks up. She then hooks both legs.

Hudson kicks out again. Selena kneels next to Hudson and looks out before getting up and grabbing the top rope. She stomps Hudson in the face once and then again and again. Selena walks around the ring. Hudson rolls over and reaches out for the ropes. He gets up and Selena then runs up behind him and jumps up and pulls him back with a rolling clutch pin.

Hudson kicks out. Selena falls forward and uses the momentum to run up the corner. Hudson slowly gets up and Selena turns and twists back into the Alaskan dragonrana!

Sharper: “Alaskan Dragonrana!”

Knots: “Oh! He walked into it!”

Hudson kicks out again. Selena falls forward. She then crawls forward and looks around as Hudson rolls over and starts to get up. Selena then runs at him and goes for a running boot, but Hudson suddenly ducks and grabs her in a waistlock. He then hits a German suplex. He holds on as Selena reaches out. Hudson holds on and takes a moment before rolling over and pulling her back up. He moves away from the ropes and hits another German suplex. He continues to hold on. The crowd roars as Hudson leans on her and starts to get up and pulls her up again. Selena tries to grab at the ropes but Hudson hits a third German. He then holds on, rolling to his side.

Sharper: “Three German suplexes on Selena!”

Knots: “And he’s not done. He’s still holding on!”

Sharper: “Hudson needed something to come back and this is very needed. But it’s taking a lot out of him. Out of Selena!”

Hudson slowly starts to pull Selena up. The crowd roars as he gets up and then throws Selena back with a fourth German suplex. He holds on. The crowd yells out counting with Hudson’s suplexs.

Crowd: “Four!”

Hudson keeps holding on and Selena tries to lean forward, trying to get to the ropes, but Hudson throws her back again.

Crowd: “Five!”

Hudson continues to hold on to Selena. The crowd cheers some more as Hudson rolls over and Selena takes some deep breathes as Hudson drags her up and then hits a sixth German suplex.

Crowd: “Six!”

Knots: “Jesus Christ! He’s still going!”

Sharper: “Six German suplexes. And he’s still going!”

Hudson holds on as Selena and her are down in a heap. Demitra looks on as Hudson then starts to get up to his feet. He starts to drag Selena up again. Selena looks up and Hudson throws her back with a seventh German suplex.

Crowd: “Seven!”

Hudson rolls to his side. The crowd cheers some more as Hudson fights through fatigue and drags Selena up again. Selena continues to reach out, but much weaker than before as Hudson hits another German suplex.

Crowd: “Eight!”

Hudson remains his grasp on Selena. The crowd cheers some more as Hudson grits his teeth and pulls Selena up again. He gets her up and gets back up to his feet and hits a ninth German suplex.

Crowd: “Nine!”

Hudson turns to his side and holds on still as the crowd cheers and Selena looks half out of it, clearly taking a beating as Hudson then slowly gets up. He staggers, struggling to keep his footing as Selena reaches out weakly. Hudson then hoists her up and hits a tenth German suplex. This time, he lets go.

Crowd: “Ten!”

The crowd cheers in appreciation as Hudson and Frost are down on the mat. Selena looks up at the lights as Hudson is a few feet away.

Sharper: “Ten German suplexes in a row!”

Knots: “Jesus!”

Sharper: “Hudson was in a bad way after going through the table. Hudson has responded…”

Knots: “But he can’t take advantage!”

Sharper: “Both down. Both looking at the lights. Rise to Greatness XXI! World Title on the line!”

We cut to a wide shot as Selena Frost and Josh Hudson are down in the ring. Aaron Demitra starts his ten count.

Hudson rolls over and crawls slowly to the ropes. (6) He slowly starts to use the ropes to get up. (7) Selena stirs too, rolling over. Hudson gets to his feet. He staggers over and grabs Selena. Selena looks up and Hudson nails her with a hard right. She falls back into the corner. Hudson follows up with another hard right. He then grabs her and whips her across the ring. She hits the corner and staggers out. Hudson then grabs her and goes for a belly to belly suplex, but gets her up, but Selena shifts her weight and moves into a crossbody!

Hudson kicks out.

Sharper: “And the energy expended by Hudson maybe taking a toll!”

Knots: “Selena just shifted her weight and nearly won. Could you imagine?!”

Selena rolls off and starts to crawl to the ropes. Hudson turns and starts to slowly gets up. Selena looks at him and sizes him up before going for the Glass Shard. Hudson, however, catches the leg. He spins it around and Selena goes for a spin kick, but Hudson catches her and then hits another release German suplex. Selena rolls through. She starts to get up and turns to Hudson who hoists her up over his shoulders. The crowd erupts as Hudson then throws her forward with the Kingdom Come.

Sharper: “Kingdom Come! He got it! He got it!”

Knots: “No way! And both out on their feet!”

Selena falls to the mat. Hudson just falls on top of her.

The bell sounds and Hudson rolls off. Demitra points to Hudson as the crowd erupts in cheers. Demitra heads over and is handed the SCW World Championship.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and NEW, SCW World Champion, Josh Hudson!”

Sharper: “Hudson did it! He not only is World Champion again, but he does it at Rise to Greatness and he ends Selena Frost’s reign!”

Knots: “Oh hell yeah!”

Hudson slowly sits up as Demitra hands him the World Championship. He takes it and smiles before looking at it. Pyro shoots out from the stage at this point as Hudson clutches the World Title. He then slowly starts to get up. Selena remains down as Demitra helps Hudson up and their raises his arm. The crowd cheers some more.

Sharper: “Hudson…Selena had thrown everything at him. And Hudson needed something big. Big risk. High reward. Massive energy usage, but Hudson with ten German suplexes…”

Knots: “And he nearly buggered it up. Selena shifted his weight and he was that tired!”

Sharper: “But Hudson found the opening. Found the Kingdom Come, and instituted a new vision to guide SCW!”

Hudson looks around as his music plays. He then walks over and falls to the ropes. Bree Lancaster at this point slides in. She runs over and embraces Hudson. Hudson turns to her as Bree smiles and celebrates with him. The scene then slowly fades to black…
