“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

We open up with a live shot of the inside of the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to see the crowd starting to file into their seats. The cameras pan across the domed stadium, showing fans waving at the camera, before showing a shot of the Thunderdome hanging above the ring, and then cutting to a shot of the entrance way, before cutting to more shots of the crowd.

Jessica: “We are live from Toronto, Ontario! Just an hour away from Rise to Greatness XV officially going on the air!”

We then cut to a desk set up on a stage on the ground of the stadium to see Jessica Winters, Shawn Winters, Simon Lyman and Brittany Lohan at it.

Jessica: “Hello again. Jessica Winters here and I’ve got a heck of a group of people with me as we will take you through all of the last minute news and notes for Rise to Greatness. Let me quickly do some introductions. First, to my immediately left, the SCW Hall of Famer, Shawn Winters.”

Shawn: “Well we needed to Winters. Someone thought it would be colder, but it’s a hot one outside.”

Jessica: “Next to him, always good to see you, one of the most decorated tag team specialists in wrestling history, Simon Lyman.”

Lyman: “Great to be here and excited to be here. I may not be competing, but always feels good to be this close to the fans, to the buzz, the excitement.”

Jessica: “And last, but certainly not least, we have all of the Lohans presents at Rise to Greatness this year, the War Machine, Brittany Lohan is joining us.”

Lohan: “Great to be here and I’m looking forward to this. May not be in the ring. Not ready for that. But great to be part of all of this.”

Jessica: “And it’s great to be with you all at home. One hour away from Rise to Greatness XV coming to you and this is really just as much about a celebration of SCW as it is a celebration of SCW’s last fifteen years. It started on July 31, 2003. That was the date of the first shot. This is generally out fifteenth anniversary and for everyone here, you’ve been part of some big moments, but also some big moments at Rise to Greatness. Looking back and this events history, what stands out for you.

Shawn: “I think it’s pretty easy for me. Despite defending the title, to retire on this show, against Xander Valentine. Hitting those superkicks. I still remember the roar.”

Simon: “Same here. To be able to say you called it a career at Rise to Greatness and for me, it was against Donovan and I’m hoping Donovan can get a moment like that, not the retirement, but you know what I mean. To be in that ring, having everyone showing their appreciation, it’s hard to forget that.”

Lohan: “Well I don’t have anything like that. I’m still active and I’ve not necessarily had the success at this event, but my war with Regan comes to mind and you mention the links to tonight with Donovan…Selena better be ready. I’ll just say that. Regan took it to a different level. I remember plummeting from that stage after a good shot from her.”

Jessica: “Well you’ve mentioned the taking it to the next level and also ending careers and some of that could happen tonight in a way. Tonight, we’re going to see some interesting matches with a lot of ramifications. Mr. D talked about consequences when looking at this show. Regan Street against Selena Frost, it’s about consequences. Syren and Sienna Swann facing Donovan Kayl and Thirteen in a fatal four way. The Tag Team Titles, we’ll talk about all of those. But none may be bigger than the matches involving Ravyn Taylor and CHBK. CHBK will face Trinity Street. He fails to show up, Ravyn Taylor is gone. Ravyn Taylor doesn’t beat Xander Valentine after the fact, via pinfall or submission, if CHBK shows up, she’s gone.”

Lohan: “Looks like Ravyn may have finally gotten herself in some trouble.”

Simon: “Ravyn? No. CHBK? No?”

Winters: “Be careful. You put them up against a wall, they’ll pull something out.”

Jessica: “Everyone here has some history with CHBK and Ravyn Taylor. And we’ll get to that in a moment. But standing by, right now, we have Hana Ito who is with Ravyn Taylor and CHBK backstage and Spirit with Trinity Street. First, Hana?”

The camera holds on Jessica for a moment before we cut backstage.

Backstage we see outside of a locker room labeled “Dark Fantasy” a shot of Hana Ito standing with CHBK and Ravyn Taylor. Both are still in their street clothes.

Hana: “Thank you Jessica. I’ll start with you CHBK, because you’re the first domino, so to speak tonight in this situation that involves you and Ravyn Taylor. I’ll ask the obvious question. Are you going to be competing tonight?”

CHBK: “Good to know that in fifteen years SCW has made sure to up the ante in terms of the quality of interviewing around here. Are you next going to ask if I’m going to wear wrestling tights to the ring? Perhaps if I realize I’m in my hometown? Maybe ask me whether I’m nervous walking out to an event I helped MAKE…The answer is simple. I’m going to that ring and I’m going to compete.”

Hana: “Sorry to offend you, but I’m going to ask this question and I’m sure it will set you off too. You’ve not been in that ring since the End of the Year Special. Are you prepared for what Trinity Street may do to you?”

CHBK: “I’m always prepared when I enter the ring. But the fact of the matter is that I also know full well I’m not what I once was. I’m nearly sixty years old. But Olek wants to put me in that ring to teach me a lesson. I’ll take an ass-kicking if I have to protect the two people I feel should get everything they want and more in Ravyn and Syren. So if Trinity Street, the matriarch of the Street family needs this, so be it. I just hope she’s going to enjoy being a bit more embarrassed this time. I mean, I won’t be handcuffed. I won’t just take it. And Trinity, I’m not like some of those wastes of space you spar with on social media. You know what I’m capable of and Trinity, just remember, I win by showing up to compete. I get what I want. The rest…that’s a bonus to me.”

Hana: “What about the fact that Katya seems to have left your side? Has that ruined your plans?”

CHBK turns to Hana.

CHBK: “Nothing ruins our plans.”

Hana: “Well Ravyn-“

Ravyn: “Allow me to save you time and allow you to save face so you no longer have to embarrass yourself trying to get a rise out of us. Xander Valentine is bigger, stronger, and capable of more damage in the traditional sense than I am. Obviously, I’m going to be competing against him. Obviously, he’s had some enjoyment at my expense by showing how easily he can throw me around that ring. Your question I presume would be what would I do to win the match by the terms necessary to remain employed.”

Ravyn looks at Hana.

Ravyn: “As Alex said, nothing ruins our plans. Our plans evolve and while Alex can be concerned over what may happen to me tonight, I have thing under control. I have my plan ready and SCW’s Executioner is going to falter tonight. I will still have my job and then SCW after Rise to Greatness will need to understand that I will no longer be satisfied to be ignored and toyed with. This is the consequence for our actions…I will show SCW and Mr. D the consequence for his attempts at reparations!”

Ravyn looks at Hana.

Hana: “Thank you for your time, Ravyn…CHBK….now let me send you over to Spirit Dansby who is standing by with Trinity Street.”

CHBK rolls his eyes as Ravyn chuckles.

We cut to another part of the backstage area. We see Spirit Dansby standing next to Trinity Street backstage who has Lucas Knight standing with her.

Spirit: “Thank you Hana. I’m here with Trinity Street and Lucas Knight and you heard what CHBK and Ravyn just said and Trinity, I’m sure you have a response.”

Trinity smirks.

Trinity: “It’s amazing how little he sees himself as playing my role from a few years ago. The difference is that I learned from it. He’s only hoping to impact his vision on this company and well, that’s not going to happen. He’s right…I haven’t really faced him without handcuffs and I presume he’ll put up more of a fight. I don’t expect it to last very long. I don’t know if he realized who I’m married to. But Lucas has been in the ring with him before and knows him well. I know exactly how people like him operate. And tonight, the fifteenth anniversary of SCW’s founding…well I think it’s time we consider an SCW actually without CHBK. Now, I may not succeed fully there…but I am going to make him think long and hard over whether it’s all worth it. I’m surprised that he’s even going to compete. I figured he’d just see if he’d call Mr. D’s bluff.”

Trinity shrugs.

Trinity: “He probably didn’t want to risk that embarrassment in favour of the one he’ll suffer in the ring tonight. In his hometown. I’m looking forward to this. Consequences have been mentioned…they’ll be suffered tonight by CHBK tonight.”

Spirit extends the microphone to Lucas.

Lucas: “Trust me…I’m looking forward to this.”

Lucas smiles as Trinity smirks and Spirit turns to them.

Spirit: “Thank you for your time. Good luck tonight. Lord knows I think they deserve worse.”

Trinity turns and heads off with Lucas. Spirit turns to the camera.

Spirit: “And I’m going to do what I can to get a hold of Xander Valentine tonight. I’m looking forward to what Dark Fantasy may have to deal with. Jessica?”

We cut back to the desk. Jessica nods.

Shawn: “Well, good to see her showing how she really feels.”

Jessica: “Spirit Dansby not a fan of Dark Fantasy. In any case, we’ve heard from Ravyn Taylor and CHBK and of course Trinity Street. Xander Valentine, maybe at some point. Two big matches there with a lot on the line. Let’s start with CHBK and Trinity Street. Everyone here has a history with CHBK and Simon, Trinity is your ex-wife and well…”

Simon: “I’ve even had her in my corner here while competing against CHBK.”

Jessica: “Let’s start with you. What’s your prediction for tonight?”

Simon: “Do you have to ask? Trinity Street is going to kick his ass. She’s wanted this for years. She thought she would have it after Retribution. I know first hand this match is something she wanted the moment he returned at Rise to Greatness last year. She hates CHBK. Trinity’s going to do what she wants tonight.”

Lohan: “I’m not voting against a Street. I never will. And look, I’ve called Dark Fantasy allies in the past. They’re not that now and I always enjoy watching them get a little bit of a crow.”

Shawn: “Think that all you want. I’ve been in the ring with CHBK, including at this event. I will never count him out. He could be dead and he’d find a way to win over you. He’s that crafty. Trinity can be confident. CHBK may be slower than he was. I’m going for CHBK tonight. It’s his hometown. It’s home territory. This is the company he helped build. Trinity Street is a great competitor. But CHBK is going to have something up his sleeve for this one.”

Jessica: “I’ve seen CHBK at his best in SCW, but that was years ago. Do I think he has a plan? Definitely. I don’t think that’s going to be good enough. Trinity Street has been in that ring much more often as of late. And that motivation, I think that’s the difference. Now…what about the other match tied to this…Ravyn Taylor facing Xander Valentine?”

Shawn: “Just like I won’t vote against CHBK, I won’t vote against Xander Valentine. Xander Valentine is who I ended my career with. He’s pissed off. But he’s been called the most dominant man in SCW for years for a reason. Even when he wasn’t here. Ravyn isn’t showing him respect. That’s not going to end well for her.”

Jessica: “Simon?”

Simon: “Ravyn Taylor is a great mind and a good wrestler. My heart wants Xander to win this though. I’m sorry, but she is someone who needs to be shown that she’s not going to figure everything out. She’s managed to always find a way…against Kelcey, against Sienna, against so many others…tonight, she hits her brick wall.”

Jessica turns to Brittany who just smiles.

Brittany: “I can’t wait for Ravyn Taylor to be no longer part of SCW!”

Jessica: “We all seem to be in agreement that uh, Ravyn is going to be in tough.”

Brittany: “In tough? She’s going to finally find out outsmarting people won’t be enough.”

Jessica: “We’ll see. But those are just two of many and well, we’ll see several titles on the line tonight. Let’s take a look at one of those titles on the line though, the SCW World Tag Team Championship. It will be a historic match. The first time that we’ll see a Fatal Five Way match for the titles and there’s been plenty of controversy.”

The Rise to Greatness XV logo comes up on the screen.

We open up with a shot of London and Paris Truelove hitting the Twin Killing on Celoso and El Cuervo. We see them celebrating. We then see Laura Steinbeck standing in the ring with her team.

Laura: “This match also makes clear just how obvious it is that London and Paris should be the next challengers to the SCW Tag Team Champions. You don’t need a man who calls himself the Devil. You don’t need a team that can’t even work together, forcing one member to stick with them. You don’t need a former drug addict and their idiot boyfriend. You need something truly beautiful and so nice, you will see it twice. You need the Truelove Twins with the Tag Team Titles!”

We then cut to show Dawn Lohan and Dante McCaffery backstage. As we hear them, we see Sophie James hitting Max Kane with the MMM at Taking Hold of the Flame, before showing David Callahan diving onto Dawn Lohan and then showing Sophie and David holding the SCW World Tag Team Championship.

Dawn: “We lost the titles Dante. It was a nice run, but it’s clear we’re too different.”

Dante: “You’re right about that. Being different. We hold up our end of an agreement. And Dawn, you’re going to help us get those tag titles back, or we’re going to make sure that this return is going to amount to a whole bunch of nothing else for you.”

Dawn watches them leave. We then cut to show Sophie James and David Callahan teaming up to face Har Megiddo before we see Dante McCaffery, Savali, Max Kane and Ms. Budde entering the ring.

Sharper: “The Network! They’re here and they’re going after the Tag Champs!”

Knots: “No Dawn though! Just everyone else!”

We see the three groups attacking each other, fighting each other before we see Sophie James and David Callahan down and Damian Angel yelling something in Latin before we see Damian Angel grabbing one of the World Tag Team Championship belts. He looks at it before tossing it in the ring and Max Kane then grabs one. Dawn Lohan is shown running down from the back. Har Megiddo backs off as we see Dawn Lohan sliding in and looking at Kane, taking the belt and tossing it down next to Sophie.

The scene cuts to show London and Paris Truelove talking to Dante McCaffery backstage before we cut to see the Truelove Twins in the ring with Sophie James and David Callahan. We see Dante McCaffery running down before showing the Trueloves hitting the Love in an Elevator on Sophie and pinning her.

1!

2!

3!

Sharper: “And look at this! They’ve taken the win with Sophie distracted and now are standing over Sophie James while Dante McCaffery stomps away on David Callahan!”

Knots: “Looks like whatever they talked about last week worked out! The Truelove Twins want a shot at the World Tag Team Championship.”

We then cut to see Dawn Lohan and Max Kane backstage.

Dawn: “Don’t tell me you’re part of this?”

Kane turns to her.

Kane: “Say what?”

Dawn: “This deal with the Trueloves.

Kane: “And if I am?”

Dawn: “Then that settles it-“

Dawn goes to walk off, but Kane stops her.

Kane: “Nothing to settle. Look, we’re still looking to win. I’m still looking to jump off something high. I’m looking to have the world watch me. And you’re still Ms. Wonderful.”

Dawn: “What’s the deal then?”

Kane shrugs.

Kane: “Easy. Win the titles. They’re then London and Paris’.”

We cut forward.

Kane: “So Dawn…you got a question to ask yourself. We can pull in Savali or Parker or even Dante. I want you. Let me know. Want to get your hands on Har Megiddo or even the Trueloves. Be on the card. Or just watching from the sidelines. Wish I didn’t have to be the bearer of bad news, but I’m getting what I want and I like ya. At least we can enjoy the non-dirty stuff.”

We then cut to see Max Kane in the ring with the Network at ringside before we cut to see Dawn Lohan and Abigail Lindsay running out from the back.

Sharper: “Dawn Lohan coming out, but not alone! She’s here with Abigail Lindsay!”

Knots: “The one Lohan who hasn’t been in SCW full-time! She’s with Dawn Lohan!”

We see Abigail attacking Savali before showing Dawn Lohan looking at Max Kane. Ms. Budde attacks Dawn from behind before Sophie James and David Callahan are shown. They slide in before we see Abigail, Dawn, Sophie and David standing in the ring.

Mr. D: “It will be a bit different. A Fatal Five Way Tag Team match. One fall to a finish. For the World Tag Team Championship.”

We see shots of the Truelove Twins and shots with them talking with the Network or working with them.

Laura: “Hana, there is a deal. I’m surprised more people wouldn’t use their help. They are merely just speeding up the process. We all know that just like Sienna Swann should be the World Champion, London and Paris should be the World Tag Team Champions. It’s that simple. And the Network agrees…for a price, but one we’re willing to pay. Dawn didn’t want to go along. All that much better for us as we would rather make sure that we walk out the Tag Team Champions.”

Damian Angel watching as Har Megiddo destroys a team in the ring is shown.

Damian: “Whether it is the vanity or the blatant greed or just the naďve attempts to do the right thing, I have been annoyed enough in these efforts that some people need to fall, including the Network, including Sophie James and David Callahan and now, by proxy, the Truelove Twins and now Dawn Lohan and Abigail Lindsay. They will all fall to our hands. Destruction comes to Rise to Greatness and the Tag Team Championship!”

Abigail Lindsay is shown walking to the ring with Dawn Lohan. We then focus on them in the ring.

Abigail: “I think I’m going to start my SCW career with a big of SCW gold and the Lohans are going to be on top, and the Network…you couldn’t afford us if you tried. To the Trueloves…I think everyone would rather see us than you two…Har Megiddo…bring your worst, we’ll still do more. And Sophie and David…you two are cool, but we’re taking your titles and we’re going to make it wonderful!”

We then cut to see Sophie James and David Callahan holding the SCW World Tag Team Championship as they walk to the ring.

Sharper: “We’ll see who will walk out the World Tag Team Champions this Sunday at Rise to Greatness!”

The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

We open back up with a shot of the crowd before cutting back to the desk.

Jessica: “World Tag Team Championship on the line. Five teams. Brittany, I don’t know if I need to ask you your thoughts.”

Brittany just looks at Jessica. Jessica chuckles.

Brittany: “Do you honestly think I won’t pick my sisters?”

Jessica: “There’s one. Shawn?”

Shawn shrugs.

Shawn: “It’s an interesting match. Part of me thinks Har Megiddo could get it done. They’ve got the strength advantage by a mile, but I’m thinking the Trueloves got this. One way or another…I mean, two teams could mean a Truelove Twin win! Right?’

Simon: “And if that happens, I will not be happy. I’ve held those titles. With pride. Sophie James and David Callahan? They care. Dawn and Abigail. They care. Trueloves want it for their agenda and I just can’t…Network too. With Kane. Just…Sophie and David…there’s where I’m going.”

Jessica: “And I’ve got my vote to Har Megiddo. I can’t not pick them. The strength, the size. The tactics of Damian Angel…”

Shawn: “Going to be an interesting one.”

Jessica: “Certainly. That’s one of five title matches tonight. But we’re about ready to kick things off with some in-ring action. And for that, let’s go to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots are standing by. Adam?”

A few moments pass before we cut to ringside. The scene opens up at the announce table to see Adam Sharper seated with Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Thank you Jessica. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots. We’ll be at ringside all night long and well, Jon, we’re here.”

Knots: “Rise to Greatness XV. This is going to be a lot of fun.”

Sharper: “And we’re kicking things off with a match that should be a bit personal.”

Knots: “Chad Evans apparently doesn’t like some fun. Ikiro Yoshida doesn’t seem to be in the mood for much fun right now.”

Sharper: “So let’s go up to Jason Phillips for the introductions!”

Chad Evans vs. Ikiro Yoshida

The stage turns red and then white before “Smooth Criminal (Violin Instrumental)” by David Garrett plays throughout the Rogers Centre. The crowd already in their seats roar before we see Ikiro Yoshida walk out from the back with his jacket on and a red and gold eyepatch. He looks around the arena as the crowd roars. His nameplate comes up on the screen.

Phillips: “The opening contest tonight is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, from the Fukushima prefecture in Japan, he is Ikiro Yoshida!”

He drops down to a knee and has his arms outstretched as he looks down to the group. He remains in that pose for a moment before stepping up and taking a deep breath. He then starts to walk down to the ring, down the long ramp. The camera follows him down.

Sharper: “Ikiro Yoshida has not quite been the same person he was in April or May. He was on a roll then. He hit a wall. Lost the US and TV Titles and then had to deal with Chad Evans ruining what was an attempt by his friend, Beard, to cheer him out.”

Knots: “No dancing! No singing! No karaoke! God has decreed!”

Sharper: “Ikiro Yoshida since that moment has been more focused than we’ve seen him. None of the usual trademarks.”

Ikiro Yoshida makes his way to the ring and looks into the ring. He then lunges and slides in and rolls through to a knee. He looks down for a moment before slowly getting up. He then looks around before taking off his jacket and pacing the ring. He backs up to his corner as the crowd looks on, cheering a bit. “Broken Dreams” begins playing as the stadium lights up. The crowd boos as the stage goes white and a few moments pass before we see Chad Evans walk out from the back, wearing a white hooded overcoat. He just looks across the crowd, scowling at them as the crowd continues to boo.

Phillips: “His opponent, from the Kingdom of Heaven, the dawn of time, He is God Himself, Chad Evans!”

The boos continue to come from the crowd who is still filing in and Chad Evans just starts to walk down to the ring, ignoring the crowd. The camera follows him down as the nameplate comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Chad Evans is not unfamiliar to this stage. That experience a difference maker. Been with SCW in some capacity since 2004.”

Knots: “Yeah, but this is even more nihilist for him than ever. He doesn’t care about anything. In the past, at least there was some care.”

Ikiro watches him as he makes his way down to the ring. He looks in and calmly walks up the steel steps. He looks in and the referee keeps Ikiro back. Chad walks along the apron and enters the ring slowly. He then looks at him and smirks before taking off his coat and turning and just dropping it to the floor, turning to the ropes behind him. He turns to Ikiro and looks at him before rolling his eyes. He then turns and leans back to the corner and the crowd buzzes.

Sharper: “Here we go. First match of the night. Fans still coming in. We expect over sixty thousand in attendance.”

Knots: “And we have God in the opening match!”

The bell sounds. Ikiro steps out, placing his foot in front of him, getting ready to strike. Chad walks along the ropes and smiles and bit. He keeps watching him and Ikiro then lunges in and goes for a straight front kick, but Chad grabs the leg and pushes it back. Ikiro hits the mat and turns and Chad dives down and hooks his head with a side headlock. He nails him with a hard right and then another and pulls back. Ikiro kicks at the mat as the crowd boos. Ikiro slowly starts to get his feet under him and Chad holds on. Ikiro gets up and to his feet and starts to pull Chad into the ropes. He then fires him off. Chad runs into the ropes, bounces off and Ikiro goes for a spin kick to the head. Chad ducks. The crowd ohs. Chad turns and Ikiro turns around and Chad drills him with a hard right hand. Ikiro hits the mat. He turns and Chad grabs him and wrenches his arm.

Sharper: “Chad Evans grabbing the arm, after a hard right hand.”

Knots: “Ikiro is looking for a knock out blow. Chad knows this and now just is screwing with him.”

Sharper: “Ikiro has wanted to get his hands on Chad for so long. For the last couple of weeks!”

Ikiro winces as Chad holds onto the arm. He elbows him in the shoulder. Ikiro yells out and falls to a knee. Chad then turns and moves him into a hammerlock. He then hoists Ikiro up and drops him down. Ikiro winces. He reaches for the ropes and Chad pulls up and forearms him in the back. He spins him around and goes into a side headlock. The crowd boos. Ikiro pulls him back and into the ropes. He fires Chad into the ropes. Ikiro steps up and Chad shoulders him down. Ikiro hits the mat. Chad turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and Ikiro rolls towards him. Chad stops and stomps him in the back of the head and then again and again. Ikiro rolls over. Chad then looks at him and jumps up and hits a knee drop. He goes for the pin.

2!

Ikiro kicks out.

Sharper: “Knee drop to the throat. Only a two!”

Knots: “Chad Evans is all over Ikiro. He can be focused, he can forego the karaoke, but Chad Evans knows all it seems!”

Ikiro rolls over and Chad gets up and grabs him by the hair. He pulls him up and nails him with a hard forearm shot. Ikiro falls back into the ropes. He winces and Chad walks over and kicks him in the ribs. He grabs him and goes to whip him across. Ikiro bounces off the ropes and Chad goes for a clothesline. The crowd roars as Ikiro ducks. He bounces off the other side and Chad knees him in the ribs. Ikiro falls to a knee, yelling out. Chad then hoists him up in a gutwrench and drops him ribs first across his knee. Ikiro rolls over and Chad hooks the leg.

1!

2!

Ikiro kicks out again. Chad turns and grabs Ikiro and locks in a chinlock. The crowd boos. Ikiro looks around and reaches out as the crowd looks on. Some starting to get behind Ikiro. Ikiro starts to pump his fist as the crowd roars and an “Ikiro!” chant starts to build through the crowd.

Sharper: “This Toronto crowd getting behind Ikiro Yoshida. Chad Evans wearing him down.”

Knots: “They wanted to see Ikiro kick God’s ass. Chad Evans has shut that down. Everyone is getting restless here!”

Chad pulls back as Ikiro continues to reach out and pump his fist. He starts to get his knee under him and starts to get up. Chad holds on as Ikiro looks around and gets his feet under him and elbows Chad in the ribs. He elbows Chad again. The crowd roars. He then goes to run out, Chad pulls him down by the hair. Ikiro hits hard and Chad goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Ikiro kicks out again. Chad rolls off. Ikiro starts to get up and turns and Chad grabs him and pulls him up and spins him around. He goes for a German suplex, but Ikiro blocks it. He then nails her with a hard back elbow. The crowd ohs. Ikiro hits a second back elbows. Chad stumbles back. He then turns back around, a bit annoyed and Ikiro jumps up and hits an enziguri kick and Chad falls to the mat. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Big kick by Ikiro. Getting up and catching Chad Evans in the temple.”

Knots: “But can’t take advantage.”

Ikiro rolls over and grabs at the ropes. He starts to get up, looking down, saying something to himself. Chad starts to get up and turns around and Ikiro lunges and goes for a straight kick. Chad catches him and smikrs before Ikiro shifts his foot enough and nails him with a forearm and then another. Chad lets go and Ikiro grabs him and snapmares him over and kicks him hard in the back. The crowd ohs and Ikiro follows up immediately with a spinning kick to the face. Chad falls back. Ikiro goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Chad kicks out. He rolls over and Ikiro starts to get up. He looks at Chad and tells him to get up. Chad starts to pull himself up and Ikiro lunges with a hard forearm shot and then another. He goes to whip Chad into the ropes, but Chad spins through. Ikiro bounces off and Chad turns and Ikiro hits a discus clothesline, knocking him down. The crowd roars as Ikiro yells out. Chad rolls over. Ikiro turns to him and boots him in the lower back, causing him to fall into the corner.

Sharper: “Ikiro Yoshida with a hard shot and now Chad in the corner!”

Knots: “The boot to the back. Chad’s finding out that Ikiro’s not messing around.”

Ikiro then runs over and boots him in the face. The crowd ohs. He grabs the ropes and hits a facewash and then a second facewash boot and then a third one before running across the ring. He bounces off the ropes and nails Chad with a running facewash boot. The crowd ohs. Chad rolls over and to the mat. He slowly stirs, half out of it and Ikiro grabs him and pulls him in and places his head between his legs. Ikiro looks around as the crowd roars. He then hoists Chad up for a powerbomb before turning and hitting a buckle bomb into the corner. The crowd ohs and Chad falls over, arching his back in pain and rolling over. Ikiro looks around as the crowd cheers. Chad starts to slowly pull himself up and Ikiro watches him, seething. He then hits a spinning back kick to the ribs hard. Chad drops down to his hands and knees, struggling to breathe.

Sharper: “Ikiro Yoshida, just like the start of this match with Chad Evans controlling, Ikiro has control and he’s not holding up.”

Knots: “Not only not holding up, he may have just taken out a rib or two. Chad is struggling to breathe!”

Chad coughs as he slowly pulls himself up and grimaces and steps up. Ikiro moves back to the corner, but he doesn’t do his usual set-up and instead, immediately lunges and drills Chad in the jaw with the KARAOKE Kick. The crowd ohs and cheers as Chad hits the mat. Ikiro drops down for the pin.

The crowd cheers. Ikiro rolls off and looks at Chad Evans. He then starts to get up and the referee raises his arm.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Ikiro Yoshida!”

The crowd cheers as “Smooth Criminal (Violin Instrumental)” starts to play. Ikiro Yoshida looks back at Chad Evans who is down on the mat. He then smiles for what seems to be the first time in months. Ikiro turns and looks out at the crowd.

Sharper: “Good to see Ikiro Yoshida smiling here. Defeating Chad Evans.”

Knots: “Just beat God Himself and kicked off Rise to Greatness XV by getting some revenge!”

Ikiro looks around and nods and smiles a bit. He then applauds a bit, giving some respect back to the crowd cheering him on as Chad Evans remains down in the ring. Ikiro looks around as he takes a deep breath and hops down.

Sharper: “Well Ikiro Yoshida victorious tonight. Something a lot of others are hoping to accomplish. Four individuals that come to mind…the four competing for a World Title shot at Apocalypse.”

Knots: “Syren, Sienna Swann, Thirteen and Donovan Kayl!”

Sharper: “And tonight, they’ll fight in a fatal four way, as much about getting what one deserves as it is about earning respect!”

The scene opens up with a shot of Syren standing in the ring, holding the SCW World Championship. She looks around before we see a shot of Sienna Swann having her arm raised at Retribution 2018, smiling as she backs away. A few moments pass before Thirteen is shown watching from the stage, a backstage shot, showing him just watching the ring, the crowd muted in the background. Donovan Kayl is shown standing with Kennedy Street before we hear then commissioner David Helms’ voice.

Helms: “Donovan Kayl. And he will challenge for the World Title that night.”

The crowd roaring is heard. Sienna Swann is shown in the ring, smiling, Laura Steinbeck and the Truelove Twins behind her.

Sharper: “It was an interesting night at Taking Hold of the Flame. CHBK getting involved the battle royal. Ravyn Taylor apparently swapping numbers with Regan, but all of that is alleged and Syren nearly winning the Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Knots: “Since then, Sienna Swann has been calling Syren too.”

This is followed by a shot of Syren who looks around, standing with Ravyn Taylor, CHBK and Katya.

Syren: “See, if we’re going to start to go by twitter challenges, we should probably do them in order and that would mean when Kennedy Street agreed to defend her title against me, I should get that match first! So, it’s simple…give me my title rematch. Better yet, if you want to save your money on the marketing, fearing that Kennedy may not get it done, have it at Rise to Greatness.”

Sienna is shown.

Sienna: “I became the NEW Perfect Ten, just like since 2016, Selena was the talk of the town and in one hour I changed the subject matter on this topic and it is now about your Heavenly Angel! I am the NEXT one in line for the World Championship! I am your IronAngel!”

This is followed by a shot of Donovan Kayl standing in the ring. He looks around.

Kayl: “And I could stand here and accept it or I could look at SCW. I could point out how Syren is calling for title shots. Sienna is too and from my position, they may have the skills, but they should not be next in line. We’ve had enough of the people who feel owed to be champion. NO ONE is owed anything.”

Shot of Thirteen flash on the screen. Thirteen looking at Donovan Kayl in the ring follows.

Thirteen: “Well, Donovan, you say that Syren and Sienna Swann have the talent to be legitimate champions. Syren, obviously, has won the title. But I feel I should be the judge of that. And so Donovan, you ask what awaits you moving forward, I think you and I have a pretty good idea.”

Mr. D is shown standing with Sienna Swann.

Mr. D: “You wanted to be number one…well, I can’t give you that, but I can give you another chance to show what you can do in the ring. With the World Title, with your actions, there are others who want some things. Because at Rise to Greatness, Sienna, you’ll be in a fatal four way match. Winner receives a World Championship shot at Apocalypse. And in it, we’ll see you….we’ll see Syren…we’ll see Thirteen….and we’ll see Donovan Kayl!”

Sienna looks at Mr. D unimpressed.

Sienna: “You think they can all hold a candle to me?!”

“Natural” by Imagine Dragons starts to play as we see a shot of Donovan Kayl and Thirteen in the middle of the ring before cutting to a shot of Syren and Sienna Swann backstage in the tunnel.

Syren: “Come on! Get out there. We all know I’m the star here!”

Sienna: “Please…just some of the dust I’ll blow away when I get through you at Rise to Greatness. Have your moment. You won’t be having more left!”

We then see Syren nailing Sienna with a shot before we cut to shots of Sienna hitting shoot kicks on Syren and then a shot of Syren going to throw Sienna off the stage. We then cut to show Kayl and Thirteen getting involved before cutting to show Kayl throwing Syren into the ring apron. Thirteen is shown hitting Sienna with a northern lights suplex.

That's the price you pay
Leave behind your heartache, cast away
Just another product of today
Rather be the hunter than the prey
And you're standing on the edge, face up 'cause you're a

We then cut to show Mr. D and Donovan Kayl face to face backstage.

Kayl: “And yet…I’ve been put under some new forms of pressure. Pressure that makes me question a lot in my twenty year career. Questioning maybe how much of this is worth it if those are the types of ultimatums that are going to be made.”

We cut to hear Mr. D’s voice.

Mr. D: “But let’s not forget why you and Thirteen are in this match. What you both said…I happen to agree with. But while I’m also sick of prima donnas and people asking for the world and the attitudes…I’m tired of anchors.”

Kayl: “And I understand that some of their actions are not becoming of champions…but they still need to win at Rise to Greatness. Whether it’s Syren, or Sienna, or Thirteen or me. One of us has to go through three others.”

Sienna Swann is shown standing up to Donovan Kayl.

Sienna: “But I will just show that I am the next top star in this business, no questions asked when I erase the past. Shove Syren from the top of the mountain like she deserves…remove Thirteen from having any claim at the top again…and maybe just finally put you out of your misery. It’ll be in your hometown too. A shame. But what needs to do be done…to Erase the Past and make the future today.”

This is followed by a shot of Sienna Swann hitting Donovan Kayl with the Kiss of an Angel in the ring.

Knots: “Exactly what she plans to do at Rise to Greatness!”

Natural
A beating heart of stone
You gotta be so cold
To make it in this world
Yeah, you're a natural
Living your life cutthroat
You gotta be so cold
Yeah, you're a natural

We then cut to see Thirteen locking in the Last Breath on Syren from Gang Rulz 2012. Syren struggles to get to the ropes as we see Thirteen pull her back as the bell sounds. We see Thirteen holding the SCW World Championship.

Thirteen: “Hearing Sienna talk about erasing the past. Hearing Syren demanding title shots. So what if Kennedy said she would. This is where the old rule that the boss is the one calling the shots is more important. And right now, you have to earn. Both of you do. Syren, you know first hand what I can do. Sienna…Regan can talk big, but she knows how close I was to taking away her title several months ago. You both want this…you have to go through us too.”

The song continues with an instrumental. Syren is then shown rolling her eyes as she snaps at someone in the ring. We then see Syren backstage before showing her nailing Sienna from behind, driving her into the ring at the end of the last edition of Breakdown, seeing it from multiple angles.

Syren: “Thirteen, the one who is now picking up the luggage for the boos and who beat me years ago for the title…I get a bit of revenge. Donovan Kayl, who intentionally used his Trios Tournament to stop me from getting my rightful shot…I get a bit of revenge. And then there’s Sienna Swann, talking about erasing the past. Please. Just another slogan from an empty person who won’t get on over Dark Fantasy again…I’m better than everyone in this match and Sienna Swann can claim whatever she wants. The only thing that’s going to be erased regarding her are her title hopes. I’m getting my title shot and after Rise to Greatness, I’m facing the World Champion and everyone can be TOTALLY Jealous!”

We then see a shot of Syren taking Kayl down with a Yakuza Kick, before cutting to a shot of Thirteen hitting a German suplex on Sienna Swann, before cutting to Donovan Kayl smirking as he stands with Kennedy Street, and then showing Sienna Swann hitting Syren with a shoot kick to the ribs. We follow up with shots of each of the four standing tall, celebrating, Syren holding the World Title at Learning from History, Sienna Swann standing tall at Retribution, Donovan Kayl standing tall at Trios Tournament and Thirteen standing tall, holding the SCW World Championship after Gang Rulz many years ago. The SCW Rise to Greatness XV logo comes up on the screen.

We open up with a shot of the crowd, more fans now in seats as we see some fans coming down with bags full of merchandise and others with food.

Jessica: “The number one contendership for the SCW World Championship. One of many matches with some big stakes on them.”

We cut back to the desk.

Jessica: “Jessica Winters here with Shawn Winters, Simon Lyman and Brittany Lohan.”

Shawn: “You know, everyone wants those shots. We’ve all been in World Title shots. But you’re looking at tonight, the respect, the attitudes, but it’s also about the personal aspect.”

Jessica: “Syren wants to get the rematch she feels she deserves. Sienna wants to finally reach to the top. Donovan Kayl wants to win in his hometown. Thirteen…he’d love to get back there too. So what do people think is going to happen?”

Shawn: “Syren. I will never count her out. It’s as simple as that. She proved how badly she wants the title earlier this year. She threw out her reputation to be champion again.”

Lohan: “Yeah, but she won’t need to worry about that tonight. Tonight, four way rules. Sienna Swann, I’ve trained her. I know how badly she wants to finally win the title.”

Shawn: “More than Syren. You know how badly she wants to be champion.”

Lohan:” I know how badly Sienna wants to win.”

Simon: “And I know how badly Kayl wants to win in his home town and have that moment here.”

Shawn: “So Jess?”

Jessica: “I don’t know. Two former SCW World Champions. Thirteen and Syren. I expect Sienna to hold that title at some point. Is it upcoming? But then the personal motivation of Kayl? To ensure the attitudes don’t get their opportunity…and in his home town.”

Shawn: “You’re forcing us to decide…”

Jessica looks down and shakes her head.

Jessica: “I’m going with Syren then. I’ve never seen someone who wants the title more than her. And that includes a lot of greats.”

Jessica looks at the camera as everyone looks at one another.

We then cut away.

We see a shot from “Earlier Tonight” showing Bree Lancaster arriving to the back of the arena in a Sedan. The Sedan parks.

Jessica: “Meanwhile, other big matches, the US Title will be on the line. Bree Mason will face Jason Helms for the US Championship. Bree Mason arriving in style. Driven to the arena by personal driver.”

We see the driver get out and walk around as he opens one door, showing Scott Burnside stepping out. He turns back as the driver walks around the arena, bypassing the trunk and holding the door open for Bree Lancaster. Bree steps out and snaps at him.

Bree: “Me first…Not putting up with this tonight!”

The driver turns and goes to the trunk and opens it up.

Bree: “Bring it to the my room. Scott…make sure of it!”

Scott looks on as Bree storms past the car and walks into the building.

Lohan: “Looks like she’s focused. That’s only going to be a lot of fun tonight.”

Simon: “Something like that at least.”

The camera focuses on Bree walking into the Rogers Centre.

We then cut to show a shot of the Thunderdome, hanging over the ring. The crowd roars seeing it.

Jessica: “And meanwhile, while that’s one of many personal matches, Dylan Howell will meet Andrew Raynes inside the Thunderdome. Only the second Thunderdome match at Rise to Greatness. Adrenaline Championship on the line.”

The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

We open up with a shot of Andrew Raynes holding the SCW Adrenaline Championship. This is followed by a shot of Andrew Raynes and Dylan Howell fighting in the ring, before cutting to show Howell in the middle of a steel cage and Andrew Raynes closing the cage door on his head. Howell is down in the ring as Andrew Raynes can be seen smiling. We then see Andrew Raynes and Dustin Adams attacking Nostalgia before Dylan Howell runs out with a steel chair.

Sharper: “Oh my God! It’s Dylan Howell!”

We see Howell un down before Raynes tackles him down and nails him with a series of hard rights. The two of them fight before we see Howell starting to get up as Raynes grimaces on the floor.

We cut forward to see Marie hitting a facebuster on Andrew Raynes before we see Dylan Howell slide in. He takes her down before going right onto Andrew Raynes, nailing him with a number of shots.

Sharper: “Dylan Howell snapping and just bolting out here. He couldn’t resist getting his hands on Andrew Raynes.”

Howell gets a few more shots before Adams pulls him off. Raynes gets away as Howell tries to get at him, but the crowd boos as Howell looks at Raynes as Raynes gets away from Dustin Adams.

We then see shots of Andrew Raynes smiling.

Raynes: “See, I finally got the news that I’ve been waiting for. And it’s great.”

Howell: “Oh Andrew…I didn’t know you liked me that much.

Sharper: “Dylan Howell heard that from home and he said this on social media: This match was like Christmas, Easter and his birthday all rolled into one.”

Raynes: “The match I wanted…the match your career deserves to end in…Dylan…I get you in the Thunderdome!”

We then hear ominous music before we see shots of the Thunderdome structure hanging over the ring and several shots of it set up around the ring. We see a shot of Rachel Frost choking Syren with her boot, and then a shot of Carnage falling from the side of the cage through a table. Following this is a shot of Syren dropkicking Frost off the apron into the side of the Thunderdome cage, hitting awkwardly. We see Damian Angel spearing Greg Cherry into the cage and then cutting to showing Jay Gold grabbing at the side of the Thunderdome cage. Xander Valentine being knocked into the cage is shown before we see a shot of CHBK bloodied while in the ring and then showing CHBK hitting a piledriver on Thorn into the steel chair inside the Thunderdome. Red Rayne hitting steel steps placed over Rachel Foxx, while in the Thunderdome, is shown before we see Red Rayne covered in blood. Shots of Kasheryn, Mono Loco, Jay Gold, Tommy Valentine and Syren bleeding follow before we cut to see Andrew Raynes smiling again, laughing a bit.

We then cut to see Dylan Howell standing in the middle of the Thunderdome as its set up in the SCW warehouse.

Dylan: “It’s….beautiful…”

Dylan is then shown smiling before the Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

We return to see a shot of the crowd inside the Rogers Centre. We then cut to a shot of the Thunderdome over the ring.

Jessica: “It’s going to be violent. It’s going to be brutal. It’s exactly what the two of them want.”

Lohan: “Dylan Howell wants that title more than anything, but one thing I’ve seen from Andrew Raynes in the last couple of months is he’ll happily take it. This is a pick em’ from me. I’ll admit, I was happy to see Dylan win to start the year, but with Andrew…that killer instinct he has. I can’t not like it.”

Simon: “I just hope that both of them know what they’re getting into. It’s a match known for its brutality. Dylan has said he will win or he’ll die…that’s not healthy.”

Shawn: “Has anything Dylan has done in the last bit been healthy?”

Simon: “Well…”

Shawn: “Dylan is not all there. That make him dangerous alone. But add what Andrew can be capable of. This is going to be a match for the Adrenaline Championship that people are going to remember.”

Jessica: “First time the Adrenaline Championship is on the line in this setting. Meanwhile, next in the ring, a personal challenge. Justin Davis is looking to get through his list of people he wants to face before he faces Josh Hudson. Tommy Valentine returns now…Adam?”

We cut to the ringside area.

Sharper: “Thank you Jessica. Justin Davis and Tommy Valentine have a history. At one point, Davis was competing for the World Title. Tommy Valentine won that night. Davis wants to prove that was a fluke.”

Knots: “Tommy has been away for a few months. This could be Davis’ night!”

Justin Davis vs. Tommy Valentine

The arena goes dark and a mist of smoke begins to gather at the top of the ramp as the opening rift of 'Sail" begins to play throughout the arena. The crowd roars as a few moment pass as the stage flashes between white lights and darkness. A few moments pass before a spotlight shines to the entrance way and we see Justin Davis standing on the stage, his head lowers, and a hood covering his head. He takes a few moments before throwing the hood off and stepping forward. The crowd looks on as Davis looks out at the crowd. He then nods before starting to walk down the rampway as his nameplate comes up on the screen.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Boston, Massachusetts, he is Justin Davis!”

Davis walks down to the ring, making his way down the rampway. He reaches the ring and looks around before going to the steel steps and throwing his arms up in the air. He then runs up the steel steps. He walks along the apron and enters the ring. He then looks out at the crowd and goes to the far corner and climbs up and poses by lifting his right arm in the air. The crowd cheers a bit. He looks around before listening to the crowd for a few moments before hopping down to the mat. He steps forward to the middle of the ring before taking off his hood and his entrance attire. He hands it off and walks back to the corner and leans back, awaiting his opponent.

Sharper: “Justin Davis wanted this match. Tommy one of the names on his list.”

Knots: “Running out of names though.”

Sharper: “Only a handful remaining. We’re not even sure he’ll face them, but Davis wanted to face Tommy. He challenged Tommy a couple of weeks ago and we understand he’ll be here. We’ve not seen him yet. This is going to be special.”

The arena's lights cut out completely. The crowd roars for a few moments before the screens light up to display a countdown.

THOMAS VALENTINE WILL BLOW THE
ROOF OFF IN

NOW!

The screens show static for a few seconds before going dark once more. The black screen starts to pulse now like a heartbeat and on each pulse that reverberates round the arena, a shot of Thomas in various poses is shown before reverting to the blackness until the next pulse that sounds like a bass drum beat with increasing volume until a final shot of him holding the SCW Title aloft after winning the match at Taking Hold Of The Flame is Shown and remains until two green fireworks shoot from the rafters and explode on the ramp. The explosion drifts across the ramp before the beginning chords to "Cut The Cord" by Shinedown, hits.

A shot of "Thorn" going for the Swanton from the top of a chamber pod at Under Attack 2009 is shown in slow motion as he misses it and hits nothing but canvas. A shot now of him hitting the Socially Unacceptable Moonsault stomp from the top rope onto Justin Davis is shown, the impact punctuated by the last word of the verse before a shadowed figure can be seen standing in front of the curtain at the top of the ramp. We cut to show Davis looking at this visual in the ring with disdain.

Sharper: “You see the images that Tommy has used in his entrance…”

Knots: “Almost taunting Davis now.”

"FREE-DOM LALALALA FREE-DOM FOLLOW ME!"

As the last word echoes, the lights start to strobe again briefly as the song reverberates throughout the arena now, causing the fans to start cheering. We cut to the stage as the stage lights and screens go white and Tommy Valentine is on the stage. He looks out at the crowd and nods and steps forward. His nameplate comes up.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Santa Barbara, California, he is Tommy Valentine!”

Tommy Valentine looks around and reads the crowd before starting to walk down to the ring. He continues down the rampway as the crowd cheers him. Davis watches him, looking from the corner, as Tommy walks down the rampway to the ring. He highfives a few fans as he ends up at the ringside area. He looks over to the ring and runs to the ring and slides in and gets up and turns and runs to the corner. He climbs up to the corner and up to the middle turnbuckle and looks around. Davis watches him as Tommy yells at the crowd. He takes a moment before hopping down. He backs up and looks at Davis. Davis watches him. Tommy backs up and moves over to the corner, taking off his sunglasses. He hands them to a ring crew member before looking at Davis. Davis starts to stretch out using the ropes as Tommy cranks his neck, stretching out too.

Sharper: “Tommy Valentine ready to compete. We saw him last night inducting Jake Starr. He looked in good spirits. A bit different from when we last saw him.”

Knots: “Davis is looking to get rid of all that. He wants to send Tommy home a loser!”

The crowd roars as the official calls for the bell. The two men start to circle the ring and Davis just looks at Tommy as Tommy looks back at him and nods before the two lunge at one another and lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another before Davis turns and moves into a side headlock. Tommy pulls back and into the ropes and fires him off. Davis bounces off and Tommy steps up and shoulders him down. The crowd roars a bit. Tommy turns and runs into the ropes. Davis rolls towards him. Tommy hops over him. Tommy bounces off the other side and Davis leapfrogs over. Tommy stops and turns and snaps him over with an arm drag. Davis rolls over and Tommy runs at him and forearms him in the jaw.

Sharper: “And Tommy takes Davis down and now follows up with a forearm.”

Knots: “Tommy’s looking good. So not too much rust in this one so far.”

Sharper: “Davis could be trying to push him though.”

Tommy grabs him and whips him across the ring. He bounces off and Tommy hits a hip toss. He goes for the pin.

Justin kicks out. Both get up and Tommy forearms him in the jaw. He runs him towards the corner, but Justin blocks it with his foot and elbows Tommy in the ribs. He elbows him in the jaw. Tommy staggers back. He turns around and Justin scoops him up and slams him down. Tommy rolls over and starts to get up before Davis elbows him in the back of the head. Tommy falls to the ropes. Davis chops him. The crowd woos. He chops him again. More woos. He then whips him across the ring. Tommy bounces off and Davis jumps up and hits a dropkick. Tommy hits the mat. Davis goes for the pin.

2!

Tommy kicks out. He rolls over to the ropes as we cut backstage to see Josh Hudson, in his wrestling gear, watching a monitor in the back.

Sharper: “There you see Josh Hudson, the man Davis has as his last opponent before he calls it a day. A pure hatred for Hudson motivating him.”

Knots: “Yeah, and Hudson’s going to love this if Tommy gets him down.”

Sharper: “Hudson, of course, will be in that triple threat against Marie Jones and Christy Matthews to earn an Adrenaline Championship shot. That match will open things up when we come live on pay per view, when this preview show ends.”

Tommy gets up and Davis spins him around and nails him with another hard forearm before pulling him out and hooking him up by the head. He hoists him up and hits a vertical suplex. He turns and hits an elbow drop before getting up and hitting a second elbow drop and going for the pin.

Knots: “Tommy is taking what Davis is throwing at him and finding a way to get through it.”

Tommy rolls over and looks at Davis and smirks bas he starts to get up. He turns and Tommy reaches in and rakes his eyes. The crowd looks on as Tommy elbows him in the jaw. Davis falls to the corner. Tommy grabs him and whips him across the ring. Davis hits the opposite corner and Tommy runs after and jumps up and hits a jumping leg lariat to the jaw. He rolls down and Davis falls to the mat. Tommy looks at him and smirks a bit, walking around the ring. Davis rolls over and Tommy runs over and hits a basement dropkick.

Sharper: “Some of that attitude and swagger we saw earlier this year coming out.”

Knots: “Maybe he’s still looking to do whatever necessary to win. And by whatever necessary, I mean without thinking about the rules!”

Sharper: “Maybe he’s just channeling Jake Starr. But we saw him cross some lines earlier in the year that got Jake concerned before Tommy disappeared.”

Tommy grabs Davis and pulls him up. He then scoops him up and slams him down. Tommy turns and exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. He looks at Davis and scans the crowd before diving off and hitting the Force of Nature. The crowd cheers. Tommy turns and hooks the leg.

The crowd ohs. Davis goes for the pin.

2!

Tommy gets his shoulder up. We cut back to Hudson watching closely.

Sharper: “Nearfall. Hudson has to be happy that Davis didn’t get the three.”

Knots: “Maybe he wants him to win. Cut out the confidence himself?”

Tommy rolls over and Davis grabs him and pulls him up. He then drags him up and places his head between his legs. He hoists him up into a powerbomb position before dropping Tommy with a facebuster. Davis turns and then grabs Tommy and drags him up to his feet. He then turns and whips him into the ropes. He bounces off and Davis kicks him in the ribs. Sharper: “Davis caught Tommy. Again, that fight showing itself. We’ve seen him wrestling at a high level, even in losses to Syren.”

Knots: “Tommy may not have seen that coming. He’s sure as hell feeling it!”

Davis then walks in and grabs Tommy and goes to whip him into the ropes. Tommy bounces off and Davis steps forward to go and lift Tommy up, but Tommy instead jumps up and hits the Knee Deep. The crowd ohs. Davis hits the mat. Tommy turns and hooks the leg.

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds. Tommy rolls off. He looks at Davis and dusts his hands and gets up. He has his arm raised.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Tommy Valentine!”

Sharper: “Tommy Valentine returns to the ring tonight at Rise to Greatness XV and defeats Justin Davis.”

Knots: “A bit of a shot too. Dusting his hands. Justin Davis thought that he should’ve walked out champion years ago. Tommy Valentine showing that he may just be a cut above here.”

Sharper: “Josh Hudson I’m sure enjoying the result even with the theory you mentioned Jon. But Davis may be getting frustrated and given how much hatred he has for Josh, that could be actually a good thing as it may refocus him.”

Davis stirs in the ring as Tommy Valentine goes to the corner and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle. He looks around and poses as his music plays throughout the area. The crowd looks on as the cameras continue to focus on him.

The scene cuts to show a wide shot of the crowd again with the ring in the background. The camera pans down to show the pre-show panel.

Jessica: “Congratulations to Tommy Valentine. The former World Champion looking good right there.”

Lohan: “Good to see.”

Jessica: “Tommy showing back up to show what he can do after some time away, but tonight, we’re going to see two people face off for what will be the final time. Selena Frost and Regan Street, friends years ago, hardened rivals in the last couple of years and this has taken a personal dimension unlike any other feud in SCW today. It’s included the boss. It’s going to see Mr. D as the special referee and on top of that, it’s no holds barred. No countout. Fight to a finish.”

The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

We see a shot of Regan Street smiling as she leans back in the ring. Selena Frost can be seen walking out from the back as she looks out at the crowd. We then hear the sound of former SCW commentator Jim Dawson’s voice.

Dawson: “In the past, they were allies. Friends who cared for one another.”

We see shots of Regan Street, Selena Frost and Sienna Swann talking backstage. This is followed by some backstage footage with Regan Street comforting Selena after a tough loss, before cutting to shots of Selena trying to calm Regan Street down as she paces backsage.

Dawson: “Even when it appeared that one was going down a dark path.”

We see Sienna Swann and Selena Frost standing in the ring, ready for a tag match, the scenes from the September 21, 2016 edition of Breakdown.

Sharper: “Sienna Swann and Selena Frost obvious the closest two of Platinum as they seemed to be overheard saying.”

Knots: “Yeah. Regan Street concerning them, but also there’s a bit of relief that they don’t need to watch her and try to figure out how to talk sense to her.

We see Regan Street throwing her arms up and snapping at officials. This is followed by a shot of Selena Frost holding the SCW World Championship. She just looks at Regan as the two are locking eyes.

Dawson: “The World Championship was the first symbol of their break and the one that ensured the relationship would never be the same again.”

Selena: “I wish we could go back to where we were laughing about weekend plans, but you took that away, so I’m going to now at least do it this way…Hazardous Envy. You have that chip on your shoulder. Well how about you take me on for the World Title. And if I win, we’ll see if you have it in you to actually be a human being or you really don’t give a damn about me.”

We then cut to a fading in shot of Regan Street hitting a baseball slide on Selena as she tries to enter the ring.

Knots: “Well they’re not friends anymore!”

Sharper: “Regan going right after Selena!”

We see Regan hitting Selena in the ribs with the steel steps. Selena grimacing in pain in shown. We see Regan kicking the ribs before showing Selena hitting a leg lariat and then showing her throwing Regan shoulder first into the ringpost. We cut to see Selena hitting the Icebreaker and covering her. The bell sounds. We see Selena wincing, holding her knee as she is handed the World Title.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and STILL SCW World Champion, Selena Frost!”

Sharper: “Selena Frost with the Icebreaker! Fighting through the pain. Both doing so, but Selena got the move at the end!”

We then cut to shots of Regan Street attacking and threatening Marie Jones, Tyler Tucker and Jinn. We then cut to a shot of Regan Street holding the SCW United States Championship, victorious at Rise to Greatness 2017. This cuts to a shot of Regan Street smiling.

Dawson: “As Regan Street competing working to get herself back to that point, she became more and more unhinged before taking the US Championship and the two former friends, now rivals, were fated to face again. The result a different one.”

We see Selena Frost in the ring and Regan Street on the stage.

Regan: “So Selena, sorry to your True Believers…all of the dimwits that actually want to see you succeed. I’m not going to give you that opportunity. I am just going to take great pleasure that at the Future is Now, when I defend my title against you, on making sure you fail. Because my future sees you left in tears and knowing you won’t ever hold this title.”

We then fade in to show the two of them running at one another and trading blows in the middle of the ring. We see Regan Street hip tossing Selena off the announce table to the floor. This is followed by a shot of Selena Frost nailing Regan Street in the back with a steel chair. We then see Selena hitting a back suplex on the concrete before showing Regan mockingly chanting “We Believe!” over and over. We then see Selena spinning Regan into a plexiglass screen by the penalty box area of the arena before showing a shot of Regan pulling some of Selena’s hair out with her Cat’o’Nine Tails. We cut to see Selena trying to lock in the Frost’s Bite on Mikaela Street before we see Regan nail Selena with the Price Tag and then hitting the Facial Reconstruction. This is followed by a shot of Regan Street smiling, holding the US Championship.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and still SCW United States Champion, Regan Street!”

She smiles backing up. We then cut to shots of Past, Present, Future in the ring, including shots of them attacking Selena Frost at Trios Tournament, and shots of Selena Frost fighting alongside Alexis Quinne against Sienna Swann and Regan Street.

Dawson: “But now, it was something deeper. The desire for revenge too much for Regan Street. The desire to destroy. Affecting old allies. Platinum was erased in the past…Past, Present, Future was the present and future.”

We then cut to show Regan Street piledriving Mr. D. The crowd ohs. Regan smiling is shown.

Dawson: “But as Regan Street continued to become more unhinged, the rivalry only continued when Selena Frost would refuse to accept her anger and rage as anything close to acceptable.”

Silent shots of Selena Frost calling out Regan Street is shown, before showing David Helms holding Regan back and Regan snapping back at David Helms before showing Selena Frost holding a steel chair on Breakdown. This is followed by a shot of Selena Frost eliminating Regan Street out from the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal as the sound returns to hear the crowd cheering.

Regan: “So allow me to say this clearly…if you want to face me Selena, you need to use your Trios Tournament shot to do so.”

Selena: “But if she wants to keep running, I can say one thing right now…I have bigger plans for the Trios Tournament shot and believe it, she’s not going to like them either.”

Dawson: “The World Championship and the US Championship came into play again, intertwined as Selena Frost hoped to ensure that Regan Street would not thrive as she sought to scorch the earth and inflict her dominance.”

We see shots of Regan Street and Selena Frost clashing backstage, in the ring, and in interview segments, the shots flying past the screen. We see a shot of Regan Street storming in the parking lot, looking for Selena’s bus, before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost and Regan Street brawling.

Regan: “You wanted to face me a couple of weeks ago. Well Selena, here you go. And trust me, I already had a blast taking Mr. D, dropping him on his head and trust me, best decision I made. You want me, here I am and we can even fight until you find yourself in the same situation as Mr. D, struggling to breathe through your neck collar while I’m still showing that THIS INDUSTRY is run by me.”

Dawson: “It was only the beginning. With the return of another victim of Regan Street, Selena Frost was emboldened by the announcement of a match. To end this rivalry once and for all…”

Mr. D walking to the ring is shown before we see Selena Frost standing next to him.

Mr. D: “Selena…I’m going to give you what you want. What Regan wants. What everyone wants. One more match. And your Trios contract won’t change that. Regan Street against Selena Frost!”

The crowd erupts in cheers. Mr. D looks at Selena as Selena smiles and nods.

Mr. D: “And I’m going to be the special guest referee!”

The crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “Oh my God.”

Knots: “You’re kidding! He’s going to put himself in the middle of it!”

Sharper: “That’s right in the danger zone…”

Selena looks surprised and even can be seen saying “You sure?”

Mr. D: “Selena…don’t doubt me on this. I want to be in that ring. I’ll either count Regan Street’s shoulders to the mat…or I’ll have to count yours. But it’s going to end one way or another. This is it.”

Dawson: “Over two years in the making. No holds barred….”

We see more shots of Regan Street attacking Selena Frost and Selena Frost attacking Regan Street, before following up with shots of the two of them brawling at Breakdown in the tag team match between Jason Helms and Selena Frost against Regan Street and Bree Lancaster.

Dawson: “It ends…tonight…either with the roar of the Hellcat…or the True Believers standing tall!”

We see Regan Street and Selena Frost locking eyes as the Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen again. We open up to show the pre-show panel again.

Jessica: “Both want to win this more than anything. It’s personal beyond belief. Regan Street has threatened Selena’s family. She’s threatened the boss. Selena Frost was not going to let Regan continue to act as she was and it’s only continued from then, with both looking to take the other out. Tonight, it’s the last time they face each other.”

Lohan: “And it will be one of those matches that either one will forget. This is a match that will change both. But let’s also add the other wrinkle. Mr. D in the middle of it. Selena Frost wants to fight for him to a degree, getting the revenge he can’t get. Regan Street wants to force Mr. D to count the fall with her the winner. That’s some next level stuff.”

Simon: “Even without that, it’s already so personal. You mentioned the family aspect. Regan Street is someone I’ve known for a long time. I’ve never seen her this unhinged. She’s talked about how important family is for her and she’s going after Selena’s family. She’s attacking people. She’s looking to hurt people. Selena Frost has never stood for that. She’s in a different situation, but she has always found a way to persevere. Selena and Trinity both told Mr. D to avoid doing something he’ll regret. I think someone needs to sit down with Regan and with Selena and tell both of them to avoid doing something they’ll regret.”

Shawn: “This is just what I love though. Years in the making. It all comes down to this. You’re going to see these two leave everything in the ring. They have to. There are no second chances. Trios’ contract that Selena has. Doesn’t matter. Hudson’s so Regan can get a rematch if she loses. Doesn’t matter. This is it. That’s an exclamation point either will want, especially given how both have been rather even. Both have beaten the other, with gold on the line. But never in a situation like this.”

Jessica: “So predictions across the board here. What are we thinking? Brittany?”

Lohan: “Regan. I know Selena is the never give up type, but I’m never going to count out a Hellcat that when she’s a fraction like she is now is scary enough. I faced that years ago. Tonight, she’s to a level I don’t think anyone can touch her.”

Simon sighs.

Simon: “I’m going to get into trouble…but I’m going to say Selena. If Regan’s attitude wasn’t what it was…I think she’s going to cost herself.”

Winters: “Regan. I think Regan has all the motivation in the world. She’s backed up against a wall that she made and she wants that. She wants that pressure to piss everyone off. She has a huge chip on her shoulder. To beat Selena.  To have Mr. D count it. Oh, and it’s no holds barred…yeah, Regan.”

Jessica: “And I’m with Selena. She’s been in a similar spot before. You talked about pressure. She had it last year against Vixen Cain. She showed up and proved she could win with her back up against the wall. You look at her record in big matches. Against Vixen Cain, Kennedy Street, Kelcey Wallace in the past. Regan may be clicking, but Selena Frost is one of the best big match wrestlers on this roster.”

Jessica pauses.

Jessica: “Much more happening tonight. Right now, however, let’s go backstage, where Spirit Dansby is standing by with one of the newest Hall of Famers…Jake Starr.”

The scene cuts backstage and we see Spirit Dansby with Jake Starr as he has his bags next to him.

Spirit: “Thank you Jessica. Jake, last night, it was a big night for you, inducted into the SCW Hall of Fame. Tonight, you’ll face Alistaire Allocco, someone who saw you as his childhood wrestling hero and someone who is trying to push you to be better. You beat him for the World Title last November. He beat you in April. Here we are tonight.”

Starr: “Well first off, it was a great night last night and I’m going to remember that forever. But I’m going to remember tonight for a number of reasons. I just saw Tommy kick Justin Davis’ ass. So there’s a big plus. He’s back to kicking ass around here. But Allocco, look, the kid thinks I’m great. That’s wonderful. Too bad he’s about as bland as a unsalted salteen and every time he talks, I get a serious migraine as my brain tries to block him out. The kid thinks the world can be all sunbeams and whatever the hell. Wrestling is my life. And this is my show. A show I’ve had a lot of success on. Allocco can come at me and bring up the nostalgia. Great. He can bring up that he wanted a one on one rematch, without anything else. No Xander this time. He has to worry about the Bad, Bad Girl. But Allocco has to worry about a bad man in me in that I don’t care about the rules and I plan to screw with him because I can. Years ago I beat his deadbeat dad at this event. Tonight, I beat the second generation of suck in SCW.”

Spirit: “Thank you Jake. Good luck tonight.”

Jake smiles and walks off.

Spirit: “Now let’s cut to Hana Ito who is with James Evans.”

The scene changes to another part of the backstage area. Hana Ito stands next to James Evans. Dean Black is a few feet away.

Hana: “Thank you Spirit. James, I was hoping to get a word with you before your match tonight. We know that Katelyn Buehler is fired up for your big tag team match against Ace Marshall and Cassidy Carter. But you, James, we know that you’re motivated to stand by your friend, but you’ve been generally pretty reserved, only taking one moment to take a few shots on Ace Marshall before backing up before taking too many liberties.”

James: “Even then I probably overstepped. Look, my history in this business, I know the unease. You’re even standing an extra foot away. I don’t blame you. For Katelyn, tonight, its personal. It is for me too. Ace Marshall forced us into a situation, as parents, that you never want to have to deal with. Fortunately, our kids took it well. Thank God. But Ace Marshall crossed a line, all just to rile Katelyn up. Definitely to rile me up. But I’m not going to let myself become that person I was two years ago. The person who lifted Ace up and tried to end not just his career, but make sure he couldn’t walk.”

James pauses.

James: “Tonight, I’ll be ready to compete. It’s my official return to the ring as a full-time competitor again. And Ace Marshall and Cassidy Carter are across the ring from me and I’m teaming with Katelyn Buehler, who is going to be someone I will have to make sure she doesn’t go too far. I’m going to make sure she doesn’t have to worry about looking at her kids after this show. The biggest difference though…I’m going to make sure I can do the same and with a clear conscience. Ace and Cassidy will receive what they deserve, but not anything more.”

Hana: “Thank you…Back to you Jessica.”

James nods. We cut back to a live shot of the crowd.

The camera pans across the crowd.

Jessica: “Thank you Hana and thank you Spirit. We are getting closer and closer to showtime when we go on the air with Rise to Greatness, our pay per view portion. Not too late to order. But there is one more match we want to spotlight. The World Title on the line. Giovanni Aries challenges Kennedy Street. Both very different. Long paths to get here. Giovanni Aries thinks the Lizard King is at work, manipulating this all. For Kennedy Street, this is the end result of nearly a year and a half of redemption.”

The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

We open up with a slow motion shot of Kennedy Street walking out from the back, holding the SCW World Championship.

Kennedy: “I know after this match, and sorry Donovan, but I’m going to say, when I retain my title, this was just the calm before the storm heading into Rise to Greatness. So I’m going to enjoy it and cherish this. Because after…I’m out to make more statements.”

We then see Kennedy Street hitting the Pedicure on Donovan Kayl before cutting to showing Kennedy Street covering him.

1!

2!

3!

She rolls off of him and we see her holding the title over her head.

Sharper: “Kennedy Street, emphatically, marching out as the World Champion!”

We then cut to a slow motion shot of Giovanni Aries sitting down on the stage. We see him exhaling smoke from his cigarette as part of his entrance, the smoke going into the air.

Giovanni: “The Wonderland still must be protected and it will be just that when I capture the flame….and use it to extinguish what is left of the Lizard Kingdom…”

We see Giovanni Aries hitting the Peyote Experience on Syren, spinning her around and around before stopping and falling back, slingshotting her over the top rope. We see Syren fall to the mats below. We then see Giovanni Aries falling to his knees.

Knots: “Rise to Greatness XV is going down the rabbit hole!”

Sharper: “The most unique, eclectic challenger we may ever have.”

We then cut to shot Kennedy Street and Giovanni Aries standing across from one another. The two just look at each other. Giovanni is shown eying Kennedy, checking her lower back. Jessica Winters stands in the ring with him.

Jessica: “Giovanni…what are you doing?”

Giovanni: “Checking for a tail.”

Kennedy: “Trust me, honey. There is no way this Sexy, Flawless body would ever have a tail.”

Giovanni: “Not on visible to the naked eye…but never fear, you do not have one.”

We then see him sniffing.

Giovanni: “But unfortunately, you have been tainted by the Lizard King. His fingerprints are all over you. An innocent…caught in the crossfire.”

He shakes his head.

Giovanni: “Beware Jules, he is not going to be as forthright as I am. He will not hesitate to make you an example.”

Kennedy: “Well Giovanni, I’m not giving this title up and I’m not afraid of you or Jules. I plan to walk into Rise to Greatness as World Champion and walk out as it too.”

The crowd cheers. Some boo. Giovanni shakes his head. Jessica then turns the microphone to him.

Giovanni: “It will be biggest mistake of your life.”

“Live in the Moment” by Portugal, The Man starts to play. We then Giovanni Aries hitting Donovan Kayl with the Through the Rabbit Hole as Kennedy Street sits at ringside. She looks on as Giovanni turns and looks at her, pointing at her.

Aries: “Tell the Lizard King….I have beaten his Judas, I have taken his flame….and I will take the World Championship!”

Kennedy: “I have nothing to do with the Lizard King, you weirdo!”

My home
Is a girl with eyes like wishing wells
I'm not alone
But I'm still lone, lonely
When I was young
Always go below the midnight sun
Those days are done
But I'm still glowing

We then see Kennedy Street in the ring, with Giovanni Aries across from her. Kennedy Street, extends her arm.

Kennedy: “Then fine…since you keep watching me, I have nothing to hide in this. My father believed a handshake showed everything. Showed what people couldn’t see.”

Giovanni just looks at Kennedy and then her hand.

Giovanni: “You think I would fall for that trick!”

We then see Giovanni take her down and hammers away on the arm. Giovanni rolls back, seething before looking at the World Championship, kicking it towards Kennedy. He rolls out of the ring as Kennedy looks on stunned, holding her arm. We then see Ace Marshall walking out to face Kennedy Street, with a man in a lizard suit out. Giovanni Aries glares before we see Ace Marshall running off and then seeing Kennedy Street nailing Giovanni Aries with the Touch of Class.

Sharper: “Oh! Touch of Class! I don’t know if Giovanni said something or Kennedy just had it.”

Knots: “Doesn’t matter. Maybe it’ll give him a hint!”

Kennedy grabs her World Championship and looks at Giovanni, shaking her head and holding the title over her head.

Ooh la la la la la
Let's live in the moment
Come back Sunday morning
A lie, oh well
When you're gone
Goodbye, so long, farewell

We see shots of Giovanni Aries sitting cross-legged on the stage. Kennedy Street posing follows before we cut to a shot Giovanni Aries in the ring and Kennedy Street throws the official for his recent match to the floor. The two then step up and look at one another, just eying each other.

Sharper: “They may fight tonight. Giovanni Aries and Kennedy Street! The main event of Rise to Greatness. World Title on the line!’

Knots: “Giovanni’s smiling! And Kennedy’s not backing down!”

Sharper: “What is going to happen this Sunday at Rise to Greatness XV?!”

The shot remains on the two of them, eye locked at one another before the Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

We return to show the Rise to Greatness preview panel, Jessica Winters, Shawn Winters, Simon Lyman and Brittany Lohan.

Jessica: “World Title on the line. Two very unique individuals. Who is going to win on the biggest stage in wrestling?”

Shawn: “Kennedy Street has had her redemption. She’s back to the top of the mountain. But she’s never faced anyone like Giovanni Aries. And whatever he thinks the Lizard King is. Whoever he thinks has tainted her, it’s motivated him against Ace Marshall, against so many others, to win the Taking Hold of the Flame and I’m going to say it, to win the World Title.”

Simon: “I’m going with Kennedy. I know how badly she wanted to win that title. When she won at in April, she was over the moon. She wants to win tonight badly. It’s her vindication. She’s going to do all she can.”

Lohan: “Nothing more to say. Kennedy.”

Jessica: “I’m not sure which way I go here. Giovanni Aries is unlike anyone we’ve seen in SCW. When he is motivated, he seems unstoppable. Kennedy Street…she’s been at her best. Something has to give….I’m saying Kennedy wins. She’ll stop him. I don’t know. I don’t have a horse in the race. I’ll probably change my mind, but…well…there.”

Jessica sighs and turns to the panel.

Jessica: “Anything else tonight that you all have your mind one. Let’s just start, Simon, you first.”

Simon: “Blake Mason and Owen Cruze. Owen has wanted this for a year. It’s closure. It’s closure for Blake. I want to see if Blake has changed. How he competes tonight will tell me that, but I’m hoping the kid can pull it off.”

Shawn: “Bree Lancaster and Jason Helms. US Title on the line. We didn’t talk about it, but everyone else is, even TMZ! All stemming from Amy Chastaine’s fun times. Should be a fun time to watch!”

Lohan: “I’m looking forward to the Thunderdome. Always love those types of matches, but there’s a lot of young talent getting an opportunity tonight. Allocco, Marie Jones, AJ and Alexis, EMERGE.”

Jessica: “Was just going to say that. Drake Benjamin and Gavin Taylor had a hell of a match last night. Kandis and Peyton Rice will clash for the EMERGE title tonight. Lots to come. It’s coming to you live from Toronto. Rise to Greatness XV is here. For Spirit Dansby, Hana Ito, Shawn Winters, Simon Lyman and Brittany Lohan, I’m Jessica Winters. We’ll see you in just a few moments.”

Jessica smiles as the scene slowly fades to black…
