“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

MAIN SHOW:

The scene opens up with a live shot of the inside of the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The crowd can be seen cheering a bit, as fans are filing in. The camera then cuts down to the analysis desk off to the side of the entrance, showing the massive entrance in full.

Spirit: “Ladies and gentlemen, we are here in the AT&T Stadium. Rise to Greatness XVI just an hour away!”

The camera pans down to show Spirit Dansby at the desk with Trinity Street and Dean Black with her.

Spirit: “Hello again everyone. Spirit Dansby here and I’m with Trinity Street and Dean Black, joining me for all of the last minute news and analysis.”

Trinity: “Spirit, I’m sorry love, but I think we need to make sure we’ve got the air cleared.”

Spirit: “Fair enough.”

Trinity: “I know that you’re good friends with Sienna.”

Spirit: “I am.”

Trinity: “Let’s just keep it professional.”

Spirit: “I have no problems doing that Trinity. I’m not the one hijacking the show to insinuate something.”

Trinity: “I just know that Laura gave you your talking points. It’s the biggest night of the year. The fans deserve your opinion here, love.”

Dean: “All good?”

Spirit: “Yeah…Obviously, emotions running high here. And yes, later tonight, one match we will see is that of Sienna Swann and Chris Cannon teaming up to face the makeshift team of Owen Cruze and Kennedy Street. Can they work together? We’ll find out. Not just that, but Dean, this is a night that people dream of.”

Dean: “That’s putting it mildly. This is a night where careers can be made in one night. Trinity, you’re sitting here. We remember what Monarchy did three years ago in part because it happened tonight and Monarchy was brazen enough to try and take the title from Ravyn Taylor. We all remember CHBK getting decimated off the top rope by Steve Griffin. We all remember Shawn Winters superkicking Xander Valentine and managing to end his career on top. It’s all because of what this night means.”

Trinity: “You’re right about things like Monarchy. But this is also the night where the most eyes are on you. And that’s a lot of pressure. We’ve seen rise to this point and fall short. We’ve seen people rise to the occasion. Tonight, I look up and down the card. There are a lot of opportunities to change careers. It’s not just a pay day, it’s not even just titles. It’s about getting talked about by everyone who will be sitting out there and watching at home.”

Spirit: “We’ll see about what they’re talking about, but one person and Dean, you know too well. Xander Valentine stunned us all when he assaulted Mr. D. And Selena Frost will look to bring him into line, after months of building up to this moment here tonight at Rise to Greatness.”

A shot of the crowd cheering before we cut to a wide shot of the Tactical Warfare cage at Retribution 2019 to see Owen Cruze getting helped up, and then showing him helping Kennedy Street up. Regan Street helps Selena Frost up and the four stand in the ring celebrating.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Owen Cruze, Regan Street, Kennedy Street & Selena Frost – Team Sasha!”

The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Thank God! Thank God! And Owen Cruze sneaking in at the moment. Seeing the opportunity…to take Syren down and cover her. He just pinned the World Champion and saved this company!”

The scene cuts to show Mr. D as he smiles, watching a monitor, while dressed to leave. He grabs his bags and heads out of the building.

Sharper: “And Mr. D watching the end result of the pay per view main event he will book in SCW. And his eldest daughter putting together the team that won.”

Knots: “Almost a look of relief along with pride.”

As he steps farther away from the building, the image cuts. We then hear a voice.

“Get help! Get help!”

We cut to see a shot of the front window of the car, a bloody hole before we see Mr. D down next to the car, blood coming down his face, presumably from the attack.

Sharper: “Oh my God…”

Knots: “Who…who would do that?!”

The scene cuts to show Sasha in the ring with Dean Black and her father, Mr. D. Shots of Sasha talking to James Evans, and being approached by Giovanni Aries, before cutting to show Dean Black talking to people backstage and finally dwelling on Xander Valentine for a bit longer follows.

Sasha: “My father wanted us to share the footage we have with all of you. So you know exactly what we are working with and our strongest piece of evidence, next to who it couldn’t be, thanks to the Tactical Warfare match, and assuming it was someone who wanted to ensure they got a parting blow against you, dad.”

We replay the footage, this time a bit clearer. We can make out a few more features, namely that the hooded man’s shirt is a bit more obvious, showing some sort of symbol on the front, etched in white. The man is shown knocking over the cameraman before kicking Mr. D. We notice that he’s wearing wrestling boots. We then see Mr. D thrown into the car before he turns and walks off, reaching out and grabbing what appears to be a female’s arm.

Mr. D looks at the screen. The crowd boos some more.

Sasha: “At this point, we can tell that they’re wearing wrestling boots. Otherwise, everything still too hazy to make out. But we asked to look at some other footage, that earlier. And we figured it would only be a bit before. But we went back and back. And well…we cleaned up this footage.”

We cut back to the big screen.

The footage starts to play, showing the familiar sight, Mr. D’s car already there, showing it had been parked there for a while. A few moments pass before we see two figures walk out of the building. We see one male, holding his head, clearly in pain before shaking it off. In the process, his hoodie comes off, revealing short cut hair. He turns, giving a clear shot of his face. It stops.

Sharper: “That’s Xander!”

Knots: “No…THAT’s Xander!”

Sharper: “Xander Valentine coming to the ring! I thought he was taken out by LEO that night!”

Xander Valentine is shown storming to the ring.

Sasha: “We need officials out here-“

Xander turns and throws Dean Black over the top rope. Mr. D turns to his daughter, Sasha, and tells her to leave, but as he turns back, Xander boots him in the face. The crowd ohs and boos.

Sharper: “Xander! Booting Mr. D in the face!”

Knots: “How brazen can you be?”

Sasha moves to the corner as Xander walks over toward her. He then stands over her.

Xander: “He deserved it for how he treated me. And if you follow in kind, I will do the same to you.”

Quick cuts follow of Selena Frost, Kennedy Street and Regan Street running to the ring, before showing Xander Valentine getting pulled away by security guards. This is followed by a shot of Mr. D on a stretch backstage before showing Selena heading over to him.

Selena: “You need to stay down. Probably have a concussion.”

Mr. D: “I’m fine.”

Trainer: “O, we need to you to listen. You’d tell them to stay down. We need you to do the same.”

Mr. D: “Even saw it coming.”

Selena: “Well, we’re all going to make sure he regrets it.”

Dean: “Selena, we don’t-“

Selena: “Relax. It’s going to be in the ring. Well, that’s up to you Sasha.”

We then cut to see Selena Frost fighting Giovanni Aries on the scaffold at Breakdown several weeks later. We then see Selena climbing onto the border of the big screen and seeing her hitting the diving frankensteiner on the scaffold. The colour then removes from the scene as we cut to see Xander Valentine walking toward Selena Frost’s tour bus with a sledgehammer. He strikes one of the windows of the bus, causing it to shatter.

Sharper: “Xander’s going after Selena’s tour bus!”

We then cut to see Selena Frost getting thrown from the scaffold and going through a crash pad by the base of the stage. The crowd boos.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and new SCW United States Champion, Giovanni Aries!”

Shots of Xander striking the bus again follow before Regan Street appears on the screen and goes after him. We cut to see Selena, battered and bruised from the fall, in the ring the following week.

Selena: “As Xander Valentine goes around, insulting veterans and those who are on top of the industry today, all after he attacked Mr. D not once, but twice, before threatening our boss….He then goes after my tour bus. And I could stand here and be starting to ask why. But the fact is that I actually don’t give a DAMN why!”

Selena looks at the camera as the roar of the crowd is heard.

Selena: “See, I don’t care if you’re part of the Wonderland. I don’t care if Giovanni Aries is behind this all or you have some reunion planned with your New Blood Rebellion buddy, Damian Angel. I care about one thing now…making you pay for what you put Deanna through. Making you pay for what you put Mr. D through. I am coming for you and making you pay!”

We then see Xander Valentine on the screen, backstage, with Artemis with him.

Xander: “There was a time when I walked backstage and people shivered in fear of what I was capable of. It wasn’t even that long ago. One year ago…I remember hearing CHBK, a man who knows better than most, what I am capable of, warning Ravyn and others. And in that year, I have become an afterthought, a hired gun…and then Executioner reborn. In that year, I’ve seen Hellcats and Snow Queens and IronAngels and BULLSHIT take my mantle! Well I am back for it and I lay blame for what I have gone through at the feet of D.”

Xander is then shown booting Dean Black in the face, before showing him throwing Dillusion into a wall backstage, and then showing him choking Donovan Kayl out with the Fade to Black, before finally cutting to showing him hitting the Martial Bane on Giovanni Aries, throwing him off the stage.

Xander: “Bring your wife, so she can scream while I dismantle you, Selena. SCW…bring whomever you think could even stand across from me. I am reborn. I remember my purpose and my purpose is to destroy, to intimidate…to DOMINATE.”

Selena: “Xander Valentine is unwilling to accept that people like myself, like Regan, like Kennedy, like so many others, have stepped up and taken his mantle at the top, and he wants not to fight for it, but to scorch the earth for it, taking out people like Mr. D refused to simply give into his legend…Well-“

We cut to show Xander now in the ring, standing across from Selena.

Xander: “Refuse to give into my legend…heh…Well, I suppose at least we learned something mutual now. Just like I have zero respect for anything you do, you’ve proven you have zero respect for me…I could wait to see what fate belies me at Rise to Greatness…or I could just remove a fraud who sits on the throne I never relinquished!”

Selena: “Try it Xander. Try it and I’ll show one thing you’ve lost. The fight to be the best…the face of this company.”

Xander then lunges for Selena’s throat, but Selena ducks and kicks him in the thigh and then kicks him in the leg before turning and running to the ropes. She jumps to the top rope and goes for the Defying Gravity, but Xander ducks and Selena lands and turns only for Xander to nail her with a swift throat punch. Xander then leans over Selena, starting to choke her in the corner.

Sharper: “Xander just choking Selena and this isn’t a match. There’s nowhere for her to go!”

Regan Street runs down to the ring and we see her attacking Xander before Xander knocks her down and then Selena can be seen fighting back, nailing Xander with a hard right and then another before knocking him down with an enziguri kick.

Sharper: “Selena got Xander off his feet!”

Selena glaring at Xander follows as “What It Takes” by Adelitas Way plays in the background.

Shots of Selena Frost diving through the ropes at Taking Hold of the Flame and taking Xander down with a pescado before showing her fighting him with a couple of hard right hands. Shots of Selena hitting a moonsault off the top rope and taking Xander down on the floor follow before showing the same move from other angles.

This cuts to shots of Xander booting Selena in the face and kneeing her in the ribs before choking her in the corner. What then follows is a shot of Xander Valentine hoisting Selena up and chokeslamming her on the apron from the floor. Selena bounces off and rolls off, the move shown from multiple angles.

What's it gonna be

Selena is shown standing in the ring as we see shots of her attacking Xander Valentine as he went to approach Sasha in the ring on the latest edition of Breakdown.

Selena: “From going after Mr. D, to threatening my wife, all because it’s what you do. Well after Rise to Greatness, you won’t be doing that anymore. You will find out that at Rise to Greatness, I am going to take whatever chance, do whatever I need to, to PUT…YOU…DOWN!”

Shots of Selena and Xander fighting up the rampway and then backstage before we cut to see Xander going for Selena’s tour bus again. This is followed with Xander going to the door, trying to get in, only for Selena to nail him in the back with a 2x4. This is followed by Selena Frost climbing onto the top of the bus and looking down at Xander and diving off with a flip dive onto Xander, security and other officials. Selena rolls over and can be seen looking at Xander defiantly as she’s pulled away by officials.

The scene cuts out with the Rise to Greatness logo coming up on the screen.

We open up with a panning shot of the crowd before cutting back to the desk.

Spirit: “Selena Frost will face Xander Valentine. Two very different styles. Two vaunted careers. Xander Valentine all power. Selena, the strikes, the speed.”

Trinity: “And the heart. That’s the thing about this. Xander Valentine is angry that the sport had passed him by. Maybe if he showed any of this, we wouldn’t be talking about that. We wouldn’t be talking about how he attacked someone who has made so many careers and given them a place to compete, Xander included.”

Dean: “But the thing is that Xander is not going to just stop here. Selena can have heart, but we’ve seen Xander just keep going. Security has had to stop him and Selena won’t have that luxury. Security gets involved, it’s because Xander won’t stop.”

Spirit: “Both have had significant careers. Both have been the focal point of SCW. That’s how good they are. Selena has faced a lot of personal challenges at Rise to Greatness.”

Dean: “But not like this. Xander…he’s not Cain. He’s not Regan. He’s a whole new level and I’m not saying that to take away anything from Cain or Regan. Xander has the size and the strength and enough quickness and still the knowledge to put it all together to shut her down.”

Trinity: “And I don’t think we’ve seen Selena tap into what she can do. She rises to the occasion on this stage. Every time. I’m not going giving up on her and Dean, I know you’re close in this, but come on.”

Dean: “Trust me, I want Selena to win.”

Spirit: “We will see what happens later tonight. One of many huge matches that will take place live from Dallas at the AT&T Center.”

The camera goes wide as we see Cookie Dreams walking over to the desk, dressed in an unnecessarily revealing outfit.

Spirit: “And it looks like we’re being joined here.”

Derek: “Don’t worry. There’s plenty for you all! We were thinking about what would this night STICK OUT in the minds of everyone here…KABLAM! And well…”

Cookie: “Gift bags!”

Derek: “KABLAM SWAG!”

Derek places one bag, in black, for Dean Black, while giving a classy blue one to Trinity and one to Spirit.

Spirit: “Well uh-“

Trinity: “This is an interesting touch.”

Trinity looks into the bag and nods.

Spirit: “So Cookie, are you competing in that?”

Cookie: “Oh no! That’s a surprise. This…this is just because it’s so hot out here! And with those bags, it can get hot elsewhere!”

Cookie winks.

Derek: “KABLAM!”

Dean: “This isn’t exactly in my style.”

Derek: “We made sure to give you the finest leather…and even a few touches…”

Derek points in the bag as Spirit nods.

Spirit: “Well, while we, uh, check out the swag here, Jessica Winters is backstage. Jessica?”

The scene switches backstage to outside of the locker room of Sienna Swann and Chris Cannon as Jessica Winters turns to the camera.

Jessica: “Thank you Spirit and seems like you get all of the perks by being out there. But I am with Sienna Swann and Chris Cannon and the two of you will be teaming up tonight. It’s not the match you wanted. You both felt you deserved the World Champion and title opportunities. But no doubt, win tonight, you not only are able to show you deserve those shots, but you have a chance to give some finality this situation with Kennedy Street and I’m sure you’d have something to say to Owen Cruze.”

Sienna scoffs.

Sienna: “I don’t even know what to say to that. Of course I have something to say to Owen Cruze. I’ve told it to his face. He needs to take some time for himself, grow up, and come back and understand that Chris and I are symbols of excellence in this sport. He went on some rant and I get it. He’s had a hard time I’m sure. Kelcey Wallace’s health impacted us all. But unlike Owen, Chris and I have stepped up to the situation, proven that we will ensure her child will be taken care of and her health is most important. Owen just doesn’t understand that. And growing up is hard. I learned it myself when I went through my own poor decisions. He’s doing that now. So tonight, I will simply do just another charitable effort to help a young man…I will humiliate him in that ring and get him back on the right track.”

Jessica nods.

Jessica: “We shall see tonight, but Chris…you face Kennedy Street tonight in that tag match.”

Chris: “I shouldn’t be. But here we are. You have the greatest wrestler in the sport today in Sienna. You have then myself, who is on the cusp of greatness too. And you saddle us with a child and someone who can’t understand that their time at the top is over. Now don’t get me wrong – Owen Cruze will be great. And Kennedy Street was great. But Kennedy Street needs to win to have any self-worth. And Owen, he just needs to get shut up. I’ve already beaten Kennedy twice. The second time, I showed her mercy. Tonight, we aren’t showing mercy. Sienna should be World Champion. I should be holding gold too. Tonight, we remove any argument anyone could ever make about either. It will just be at their expense. There will be no coming around full circle. There will just be disappointment for both of them. But don’t worry. When you look back, when you think clearly. You’ll just realize you lost to two of the best…ever.”

Sienna smiles and leans in and kisses Chris.

Sienna: “I think that makes everything clear.”

Sienna and Chris turn and head off as Jessica watches them leave as the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

We see what appears to be a male model sitting at a table and Scarlet Grey sitting across from him, wearing a low cut dress that flaunts her body. The waiter walks over, placing the cheque on the table.

Male: “I’ll take care of this.”

Scarlet smiles.

Scarlet: “How sweet.”

She smiles as she leans forward as the male looks at her and smiles and then pulls out a wallet before placing several bills down. He hands it back to the waiter. The waiter smiles.

Waiter: “Thank you sir.”

The waiter than turns and looks at Scarlet.

Waiter: “Have a good evening.”

He turns and walks off as Scarlet gets up and the man extends his hand and the two walk out. The waiter continues to walk away before we see him stopping and handing the cheque and bills to someone else. The person steps out and smiles, revealing herself to be Ruby Amarant. Outside of the hotel, the man walks over to a Ferrari and opens the door, the valet, gets up and walks around, but we hear a female voice, saying thank you, before Scarlet gets into the passenger side. She then looks up.

Scarlet: “This was a wonderful time. We’ll make sure we’ll be back soon.”

Male: “It was a great time…wait, what?”

We then see Ruby getting into the driver’s seat. Scarlet smiles and closes the door. The window slides down and Scarlet leans forward.

Scarlet: “Wait like a good boy and maybe I’ll give you something you’ll always remember.”

Ruby then starts the car and they drive off. The man looks around stunned as the valet is counting the money.

“SCW….we’re still trying to get our message across.”

The cameras pan across the crowd as we see more and more fans starting to fill up the AT&T Stadium.

Spirit: “We are live in the AT&T Center. We expect over 100 000 fans for tonight’s historic event.”

Dean: “Biggest event of the year. People from all over wanting to be here.”

Spirit: “And tonight, things will also be very personal in other ways. Tonight, Giovanni Aries and James Evans will clash in a match that may not be for the faint of heart. It started back in January, when Giovanni Aries offered his services to James Evans.”

The Rise to Greatness XVI logo comes up on the screen.

“Earlier this year”

We see Angelica Jones and James Evans in their locker room before we see Angelica look off camera.

Angelica: “Or we could follow the crazy person.”

James: “Wait…what?”

Angelica points over as we see Giovanni Aries walking over. He takes a draw of his cigarette.

Giovanni: “Plan to take a stand against the Lizard Princess…”

James: “Look, I’m not looking to cause trouble with her father. Without him, I’d not be here.”

Giovanni looks at James and eyes him.

Giovanni: “I said Lizard Princess…I can work against the rest.”

We then see a series of shots of James Evans with Angelica Jones and Giovanni Aries before showing him at one point, looking at James’ bag and then in another moment, standing over his bag as James walks in as Giovanni walks off. We even see Giovanni Aries smiling before we see James Evans holding Giovanni back and stopping him.

Giovanni: “The Lizard King deserved it! It was only the first step!”

James can be seen talking to him, shaking his head before we see Sasha and James Evans talking backstage.

Sasha: “James, I appreciate you holding Gio back. But you may want to rethink that alliance.”

James: “That’s something he and I will talk about, but I just wanted to come to you and personally tell you that whenever you find whoever attacked your father, I want a match against them.”

The crowd cheers a bit.

Sasha: “Well James…is this the James that is looking for redemption or sending bad memes to the person who said and I quote, it’s about damn time someone did it?”

James: “Look. We’re all on edge.”

Sasha: “James. I get blowing off steam. I get that you’re looking for friends or whatever. But frankly, James…if you weren’t in that ring when it happened, I’d be asking you if you’re off your meds. And James, you can joke and be awkward and whatever, but it’s my father…and my family’s been torn about the last four months. I’m not looking to laugh.”

James looks out, thinking about what was said. We then hear the sound of maniacal laughter before cutting to see James Evans and Andrew Raynes fighting at ringside and then throwing Andrew into the crowd. James follows after as we see Andrew kicking James before James nails Andrew with an elbow to the ribs before Andrew Raynes rakes his eyes. Security separate the two.

Sharper: “Andrew and James still fighting in the crowd as the referee has called for the bell!”

Raynes pulls his way through and then runs over and grabs James. James however lifts Raynes up. Raynes clubs him in the back before hooking him up by the head and then James runs forward and dives, driving Raynes into the seats, but Raynes grabbing James’ head and driving him in. The seats collapse and fly as security tries to keep fans safe as the crowd roars with cheers.

Sharper: “Oh my God! Please tell me everyone’s safe!”

Knots: “James lifted Andrew up, but Andrew made sure he’d take James with him!”

Sharper: “Fans scattering as security tries to get a handle on this.”

James and Andrew both are down in the sea of chairs. The crowd continues to cheer as fans all around, clearly are happy. A few fans are noticeably knocked down as we see a couple of medical professionals now on scene. We cut to a shot to see Sasha in the crowd, standing behind security, clearly concerned. The crowd starts to chant “Holy shit!” as we cut to a wide shot to see the carnage from the attempted spinebuster/DDT counter.

Sharper: “James Evans and Andrew Raynes leaving a sea of carnage!”

We cut to shots of James Evans smirking at various points backstage, even at one point, laughing, before seeing him kneeing Andrew Raynes more violently during the cage match before seeing Angelica Jones snapping at James as James shakes his head. We cut to see James Evans backstage, looking terrified, starting to count pills as Giovanni walks over to him.

Giovanni: “What happened to James?”

Angelica: “He’s making sure he’s not going to do anything he’ll regret.”

Giovanni walks over to James.

Giovanni: “Just remember you’ll always be welcome in the Wonderland.”

More maniacal laughter can be heard, before we see Giovanni Aries storming up to Dean Black, Sasha and Mr. D.

return, to inject another dose of false sympathy…oh this is just too sweet!”

Sasha: “Gio! Leave!”

Giovanni: “He can tell me to go. Come on…tell your followers to all get me away. Tell them to prove their loyalty. Or maybe they realize you’re not worth protecting!”

Dean: “Okay, Gio…we’re going-“

Just then, we see James Evans running up from behind. He nails Giovanni from behind. Dean falls back and rolls over, caught in the middle of it. Giovanni hits the floor and Mr. D pulls Sasha back. James then dives onto Giovanni’s back and forearms him in the back of the head and then again. He then places his forearm on the back of Giovanni’s head and starts to grind it into the concrete. Part of the image is censored, with shots of it becoming uncensored, to show the blood, but also Giovanni’s broken nose.

Sharper: “That’s not an attack. He’s trying to maim Giovanni!”

Knots: “Look at the blood!”

We then see flashes of red on the screen, before we see James Evans looking around, trying to calm down.

James: “Angelica! I failed. I’m…I need to go.”

Angelica: “James…you didn’t. I heard. You went after Gio. That’s one very good step.”

Official 1: “Come on James.”

James: “You didn’t see what I did to him. The crazy bastard laughed through it after.”

Maniacal laughing starts to override the sound as flashes of red continue to come up on the screen as James looks around. We then see shots of James Evans talking to Angelica Jones backstage, but also in his apartment, flashing with shots of James Evans attacking Giovanni Aries and Andrew Raynes before only red comes up on the screen.

We cut to see Giovanni Aries laughing as James Evans sees him backstage.

Giovanni: “Ah, James…How was your time away? Eyes open?”

James just looks at Giovanni. He steps back as if to strike Giovanni as Regan and Selena watch the scene.

Angelica: “James!”

Angelica Jones comes onto the scene and James looks up at her and then turns to Giovanni as Giovanni laughs again.

Giovanni: “Maybe not fully open…”

Red flashes on the screen with normal colouring follow as we see James Evans being handed a participation ribbon by Sam while at ringside while defending the World Tag Tam Championship. We then see Angelica Jones getting covered and the bell sounding.

Sharper: “James distracted and forgot about the match for a moment and Kandis and Tommy take advantage!”

The scene cuts backstage.

Angelica: “What happened out there? We had them and –“

James looks at Angelica and Angelica stops. James extends the ribbon to Angelica.

Angelica: “You kidding me? One of those…he’s giving them to everyone.”

James: “Read it.”

Angelica: “Read it?”

Angelica grabs it and unfolds it as we see some writing on it. She looks at James.

Angelica: “I get it. You sure?”

James: “Do you need to ask me?”

Angelica takes a moment and hands him back the ribbon.

Angelica: “Then take care of what you need and after, we’ll focus on getting our titles back!”

James looks at Angelica and smiles.

James: “Thank you.”

“The Violence” by Asking Alexandria then starts to play in the background. We then see James Evans walking to the ring, as Bree Lancaster rolls into the ring with a steel chair as Giovanni Aries stirs. James kicks the chair back to Bree goes to strike him. Bree drops as James then grabs the steel chair, looking at Giovanni. As the chorus plays, we see James Evans starting to slam the chair over and over into the back of Giovanni Aries.

Giovanni is then heard as we hear his words over James’ attack.

Giovanni: “The offer is there. The violence, it’s only temporary, at least against me. You’re so close to your true self. You owe this to yourself, James. And I will show you who you really are! EMBRACE THE WONDERLAND, James…EMBRACE IT!”

We then hear James Evans as we see Giovanni Aries laughing on the screen.

James: “You want to help me. That’s funny. Because I want to help you. For months you’ve been helping James. The least I can do is help you back….And I’m going to help you back…by making it so you never have to worry about the Lizard Kingdom. You just need to worry about if you can EVEN WALK AFTER I’M THROUGH WITH YOU!”

We cut to a shot of James Evans powerbombing Ace Marshall off the top rope and into the barricade at Rise to Greatness 2015. We then see a shot of James Evans slowly smirking at the camera as red comes over the screen and we then see Giovanni Aries laughing as the scene cuts to black. The Rise to Greatness XVI logo comes up on the screen.

We cut to show the Rise to Greatness entrance way.

Spirit: “A lot of people have talked about James Evans and what he has become this year. He went from Redemption to we think something else now.”

Trinity: “And trust me, a lot of us are watching closely. We all remember James Evans years ago and this is suggesting part of that is back, but it’s also focused. Focused on one thing, Giovanni Aries.”

Dean: “I’ve had to pull James off, and you can feel the anger in him. Giovanni Aries flirted with this. James, he was part of security, working with me when he returned. He had changed. He was someone different from that last run. But this…I’m worried and I just hope that this is entirely because of Giovanni. I honestly hope we are not seeing James Evans of old return.”

Spirit: “We all are. James Evans was one of the most dangerous years ago. He’s fixed a lot. I hope he doesn’t throw it all away.”

EARLIER TONIGHT:

The scene cuts to show a car pulling up to the building and moving over to a specific parking pot. The car door opens and Adam Allocco steps out. He runs around the car and goes to the trunk, which he already opened and grabs a bag. Alistaire steps out from the car and then Adam goes to lift his back, but Alistaire takes it and walks off. Adam grabs his back and closes the trunk.

Spirit: “You see Alistaire Allocco arriving earlier. His father trying to do everything. He’s been looking forward to this for months.”

Dean: “He’s got the biggest opportunity of his career. He can win the title back on the biggest stage and be a favourite of everyone in the back and in this crowd.”

Spirit: “Alistaire taking his own bags. We’ll see if he’s ready for tonight. He faces Glory Braddock and Syren, World Championship on the line.”

Alistaire Allocco heads into the building as Adam jogs after him.

Adam: “Wait up!”

Adam heads after him as the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

We open up to see a shot of Bree Lancaster on a couch. She is slowly flipping through a fashion magazine before we see her bring the magazine down. She looks around.

Bree: “Tella! Where are you Tella?”

Bree then gets up and walks off camera. We cut away to then see a shot of Donatella, Bree’s dog, lounging out by the pool, wearing sunglasses. We then see several other dogs, all male, all wearing suits (designed by Scott Burnside) walking around. A couple are even fighting in the background. One walks over, wagging its tail and drops a tennis ball next to Donatella. Donatella just looks away, causing the male dog to run off.

Bree: “Tella!”

Donatella looks around and barks. We then see all of the male dogs running away. A couple run under a bush. One runs around the building away from where Bree is coming. Donatella also runs off. We then see Bree walking over and seeing the tennis ball. She looks at it and kicks it away.

Bree: “Ew.”

Bree then sighs and looks around.

Bree: “Tella, where are you?”

The scene cuts to inside the house, the same couch where Bree was, now with Donatella, without sunglasses, jumping over and into a small dog bed at the end of it. Bree’s footsteps are heard and she walks into the room. She then smiles.

Bree: “Tella! There you are! Just wanted to make sure you’re all okay!”

Tella runs over and barks as Bree pets her and then sniffs.

Bree: “Why do you smell like Bleu de Chanel cologne?”

Bree looks up confused.

“SCW…we’re still trying to get our message across.”

We cut to an outside shot of the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as “Legendary” by Skillet plays in the background.

Spirit: “Rise to Greatness XVI almost here. We are live in AT&T Stadium. Texas is ready. SCW is ready. We’re all ready! The biggest night in wrestling is almost live!”

The shot on the building remains for a few moments before we cut backstage. Backstage we see Casterillo seated backstage, with a monitor a few feet away from him. He looks at it before turning and looking behind him, noticing the cameraman. He then steps up and shoves the cameraman down.

Voice: “Hey!”

Casterillo’s feet can be seen for a moment before we cut away.

Back at the desk, we see Spirit, Trinity and Dean.

Spirit: “Looks like Casterillo didn’t want to be bothered.”

Trinity: “He’s made clear he plans to get involved in the World Title match. For everyone’s sake, I hope he doesn’t. We need someone other than Syren as World Champion.”

Spirit: “We will find out then what Casterillo has planned. Angelica Jones is here. And I’m sure SCW security is watching.”

Dean: “Already on it.”

Spirit: “As Dean does that, we’ve talked about some personal matches, but one match tonight has been one that Regan Street has put an odd amount of value on. She lost to Datura at Making Things Right and since then, she’s not been the same. She’s been more aggressive, but also, she’s been very effective. Winning the Trios Tournament. Winning the Adrenaline Championship. Datura has been in her head and even played more mind games, arriving now, clearly for maximum effect.”

Trinity: “And Regan was going to use that Trios contract for World Title shot tonight. Joining Glory and Alistaire and Syren. But Datura represents Regan’s greatest failure. For years, it was that she didn’t win the World Title again. Now, it’s that she didn’t beat Datura after everything she said about her family. Tonight, she can make good on it all.”

Dean: “But the question is that is this turning into her Waterloo. Is this going to be a fight so important that she’s going to screw it up? She said she was going to hold the Adrenaline Title until she could defend it against Regan. She wants revenge. She even has been trying to keep it all together.”

Trinity: “You heard her though in the past. She needs this match. She doesn’t want it. She needs it.”

Spirit: “Indeed she does and tonight, she’ll face Datura. Let’s take a look at how we got here.”

The Rise to Greatness XVI logo comes up on the screen.

We cut to see a shot of Regan Street vs. Datura at Making Things Right. We see Datura then stomp on the hand of Regan. Regan yells out in pain.

Sharper: “Datura using the fingers she injured again!”

Datura follows up, hitting the Deliriant on Regan Street. Datura turns and falls onto Regan.

The crowd roars and boos as Datura rolls off. She just remains down on the mat as Mikaela looks on disappointed.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Datura!”

Sharper: “Datura injured the fingers early. And Regan, she kept fighting and fighting, but it was a consistent target.”

Knots: “And Datura finally saw one moment to end this match. Couldn’t any other time until here. And emphatically did so!”

Sharper: “Datura made sure she got the Deliriant. Datura succeeding. And you wonder if this will be it, or if it’s just the beginning?”

We cut to show Regan Street shoving Alexis Quinne backstage.

Regan: “Where the hell is Datura?”

Alexis: “Like I know?! She’s not here.”

Regan: “No shit….”

Alexis: “All I got is a message saying that she’s not coming. Let Regan do her worst.”

Regan just looks annoyed.

Regan: “So she’s run like a little bitch then. She got her win and when I give her what she thought she wanted, her ass ran off.”

We then cut to show Regan Street walking to the ring. We cut to see shots of Regan Street celebrating winning the Trios Tournament, before cutting to showing her holding the SCW Adrenaline Championship and hearing her call out Datura.

Regan: “I plan to hold this title so I can beat Datura’s face with it, and then longer!”

This is followed by shots of Regan Street beating Aaron Blackbourne and Kandis to retain the title before cut to Breakdown to see Regan in the middle of the ring. Regan: “So, what is there left to do? Simple, maybe I need to make the decision and cash in my Trios at RTG XVI for the Worl…..”

Regan is cut off by a flurry of blue lights flickering around the arena to the tune of Billie Elishes’ “bury a friend.” The lights dim, casting a dim light over the crowd. Regan tilts her head, clearly annoyed, and stares up the entrance ramp. Mikaela stands behind her, looking to Regan as if. On the screen, the number 143 appears on the screen in an identical color as the lights. The numbers on the screen begin to fracture, each fragment turning into a leaf before falling through the bottom of the screen. The lights in the arena brighten, and the song stops mid beat. The crowd begins to clamor, confused by the momentary interruption. Regan looks around the arena, perturbed, and a sea of boos moves through the audience in waves.

Regan: “I don’t know what’s going on back there, but if someone wants to interrupt my air time, come test my mood—”

This time, the lights cut completely cut off.

Knots: “What the hell is going on!?”

On the screen, the leaves begin to rise back up, collecting in the center. They begin to take shape until they spell out the words:

YOU NEED ME

“The car’s on fire and there’s no driver at the wheel...”

Knots: “Oh. My. God.”

Sharper: “She’s back!”

“It went like this…”

The lights flash onto see Regan Street looking at Datura, who sits cross-legged on the mat, looking up at Regan smiling. Regan begins shouting at Elizabeth, who gingerly stands up and shakes her head, allowing the red and brown dreadlocks that travel down the length of her back to bounce around her shoulders. Elizabeth cocks her head and continues to smile at Regan who appears equal parts confused as enraged.

Knots: “Regan looks like she’s wants to avenge Making Things Right… like right now!”

Regan storms forward and shoves her forehead against Datura’s, her mouth moving ten million miles per hour. Yet, rather than attack Regan, Datura reaches up and brushes back stray strands of hair from Regan’s eyes. Regan slaps away her hand, which Elizabeth responds to with laughter.

Sharper: “This does not look like the same Datura that Regan went to war with on Making Things Right. It’s as if she’s a completely different human being!”

Knots: “It’s all mind games. Datura is playing with Regan now. They’re right back where they left off.”

We then cut backstage to see Regan Street seething, riled up.

Regan: “I NEED to fight her. THIS is the moment I’ve wanted since Making Things Right. I NEED to fix that. I NEED to DESTROY her.”

The scene then cuts to show Datura sitting in the ring, a microphone in her hand, looking at the entrance way.

Datura: “One noted rival entering the Hall of Fame.”

Datura pauses, letting her words ring throughout the arena.

Datura: “One noted rival now a stronger ally.”

Datura smiles slightly.

Datura: “One noted rival sitting in the ring.”

Regan Street is shown sliding into the ring as Datura remained seen before Regan steps forward and places the Adrenaline Championship in between the two of them, laying it on the mat. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Regan has said for months that she was not going to give up that title no matter what. She was going to give Datura a shot if she showed up.”

Knots: “It’s the fruits of everything Datura set off when she beat her and left!”

Regan: “I plan to hold this title so I can beat Datura’s face with it, and then longer!”

“Are you ready for it?”

The line appears on the screen as we see Regan Street and Selena Frost surrounded in the ring, flashing to moments where Datura and Alexis were in the same position earlier in the ring. This then leads to the sound of a Hellcat scratching, before the lights go out on the picture, to show Regan Street holding a chair earlier in the way, and this time, Datura standing back to back with Regan and Selena, holding a chair of her own. Flashes of the two scenes flicker back and forth before we see Datura handing Selena the steel chair as Xander, Damian and Konrad retreat. Regan just looks at it as she smiles.

“This isn’t going to be like last time…”

Datura and Regan stand in the ring on Breakdown as Datura drops a steel chair in front of her. She smiles as she slowly turns around and extends her arm. Regan looks at the chair and then to Datura. The crowd roars. Datura smiles and closes her eyes as Regan then kicks the chair, causing it to slide out of the ring. She then grabs Datura and spins her around. She then brings her fist up and looks at Datura, saying something to her.

Sharper: “I think she’s saying that she’s not going to touch her until Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “It sure as hell isn’t because of protection reasons!”

Sharper: “Datura knows that!”

Datura smiles as Regan backs up and rolls out of the ring. The crowd boos some as Datura then sits down in the middle of the ring, moving to a cross-legged position, and continues to look out. Regan just lowers her head and walks to the back.

“This time…it’s honest.”

Regan can be seen in the ring as Datura walks down to it.

Regan: “Datura, you’ve been coming out here and sending messages, mirroring everything we’ve put ourselves through before, but this time, you’re trying to get into my head. For what purpose…I’m sure we’ll hear something laughable like you live here, but I don’t care if you rent out condos, I’m going to do something I need to do and that is beat you in Dallas, Texas in front of one hundred thousand and millions around the world. I said this then, and I’ll say it now. It’s not just for me. It’s for my family. You think you have a right to take us out, but damn it, this Helms is going to fight for the family and finish what she started and this time, I will ONLY accept victory!”

Datura walks over and looks at the SCW Adrenaline Championship belt again, running her hand on its faceplate.

Datura: “I’ve never had a chance to feel it up close.”

Regan keeps looking at Datura as Datura turns to Regan and locks eyes.

Datura: “You know why I’ve played these games, Regan….”

Datura smiles.

Datura: “Because I can.”

Datura looks back at the Adrenaline Championship.

Datura: “It will be a shame when I expose your frailty again at Rise to Greatness and this time, take SCW Gold. A feeling that almost makes me giddy. What do you plan to tell David? Or your kids?”

Regan doesn’t even hesitate and nails Datura with a hard right. Datura hits the mat. The crowd roars. Mikaela steps forward as Regan looks down at Datura. Datura winces and wipes her lip before looking up.

Datura: “Struck a nerve. Next time, you’ll just be down on the mat. What will you do then?”

Regan Street just looks at Datura as Mikaela holds her back. Datura smirks.

Sharper: “The intensity of Regan, the mental acuity of Datura…and it clashes this Sunday in one of the most personal matches in recent memory!”

Knots: “But Datura has a point. What happens if Regan doesn’t win?”

Sharper: “God help us all.”

The Rise to Greatness XVI logo comes up on the screen.

Backstage, the scene fades in to see a shot of the Infamous locker room door. A few moments pass before the door opens and Abigail Lindsay steps out of it. She then takes a deep breath and smirks before walking off.

Spirit: “Abigail Lindsay walking out of the locker room of Infamous. We know she’s made a deal with Ravyn Taylor to protect her.”

Trinity: “Getting marching orders it seems.”

Spirit: “What strategy will they have there? They always seem to have one.”

The door closes as the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIAL:

The scene opens up to show a door with a piece of paper on it, reading “Anger Management Class”. The door suddenly shakes a bit and the paper falls off. We fade inside to see a shot of Regan Street throwing a man with a beard and glasses, clearly representing the stereotypical psychiatrist, getting hip tossed to the ground. Another shot shows Regan Street taking over a female psychiatrist and throwing her water at her. We then see a shot of one being thrown through the window. We then cut to the outside of the room again and this time, we see the door burst open as a young psychiatrist falls out and down to the floor. Regan then steps out and steps over him and turns. Andrew Raynes walks over to her.

Andrew: “Good session?”

Regan: “Don’t feel like I burned enough calories.”

Regan shrugs.

Regan: “Hope they got some good targets for you.”

Andrew: “Looking forward to it.”

Andrew then steps in and closes the door as Regan walks off.

“SCW…we’re really trying to get our message across.”

We return to see a shot of Alexis Quinne walking down to the ring as “Free Dominguez” plays in the background. Quinne hops onto the apron, as we see Adam Allocco, Goddard, El Lucha Grande, El Lucha Venti, Max Kane, Dante McCaffery, Ikiro Yoshida, Arnold Braunschweiger, Crissy Gardner, Dustin Adams and Manvel already in the ring.

Spirit: “Welcome back to Dallas. Time to go to the ring. Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots, they are at ringside to call the match to whet our appetites. Gentlemen?”

We cut to ringside to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots at the announce position at ringside.

Sharper: “Thank you Spirit and yes, it’s Rise to Greatness. Adam Sharper here, with Jonathan Knots. We’re here to call the action. And we’re about to see opportunity getting handed out here.”

Knots: “Everyone in this thing has an opportunity – the winner gets a shot at the Adrenaline or US title. Their choice at Apocalypse!”

Sharper: “And both titles will be on the line tonight too so you know this is going to be a chance for the winner to really think about it.”

Knots: “Some good talent and this is huge for someone.”

The arena lights dim down, as the opening riffs of "Rope" by the Foo Fighters echo throughout the arena. At the 13 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the sound system. The crowd in the AT&T Stadium roar as the stadium lights come on and Asher Hayes walks out from the back. He looks around and nods before starting to make his way down to the ring. He looks around as he smirks, spinning around. The crowd cheers for him a bit, while some boos can be heard. He walks over to the ring as the camera pans over the competitors in the ring. Asher runs up the steel steps and enters the ring. As he does, he nods and the bell sounds.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes, a last minute surprise!”

Knots: “Well he’s had some attempts to rekindle what he had, but at some point, you just need to stop setting fire to ashes.”

Sharper: “Thirteen in this and look at the Lucha…I don’t even know what they’re called!”

We see El Lucha Grande and El Lucha Venti trying to hand a coffee to other competitors as Adam goes after Asher. Goddard and Alexis pair off as Kane and Dante trade blows. Venti tries to hand a coffee to Crissy who ignores him and nails Ikiro with a forearm shot. Dustin Adams knocks the coffee from the hand of Grande as Venti notices this. Dustin grabs at Braunschweiger who is going after Manvel. Dustin clubs him in the back and then again before Grande and Venti run over and grab Dustin and pull him back. Dustin looks at them and nails Grande with a shot. Venti then shakes his head and Dustin looks at him. He goes to throw a hard right, but Venti blocks it and kicks him in the ribs before firing him into the ropes. Dustin bounces off and just then, Grande nails him with a clothesline. Dustin hits the mat and looks up, stunned. He starts to get up and Venti jumps up and hits a spinning back kick to the jaw. Dustin falls back to the ropes before Grande runs over and clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Venti and Grande…the Luchadors have just eliminated Dustin Adams!”

Knots: “New rule. Don’t turn down their coffee!”

Crissy and Ikiro fight as Adam is throw into the corner by Asher. Asher nails him with a couple of shots before Dante rakes the eyes of Kane and throws him into Venti. Venti falls over and Grande looks up. Dante turns over to Manvel and nails him with a hard right. He nails him with another one as Alexis is lifted up and over by Goddard. Goddard grabs her, but Alexis hits a pump kick. Goddard stumbles back and Asher turns and kicks him in the ribs before knocking him down with a hard right. Asher looks around and Adam runs out and clotheslines him down. He then heads over to Goddard and extends his hand, trying to tell him to get up. Goddard looks at him and rolls away before getting up, looking at him.

Sharper: “Adam Allocco trying to help Goddard. Goddard has never trusted Adam, even as Alistaire Allocco has become involved with Peyton Rice, whom Goddard has taken a protective role over.”

Knots: “Well Adam better put a fifty or something in there to help smooth this over too!”

Goddard starts to get up and Adam and him look at one another before Dante throws Manvel across the ring. He runs across and Manvel gets an elbow up. He then jumps up and hits a dropkick. The crowd roars. Manvel gets up and looks around. He then sees Goddard and Adam and hits Goddard with a dropkick before he can notice it. Manvel gets up and goes to dropkick Adam, but Adam sidesteps him. Manvel hits the mat and Adam nails him with a hard right and then another and another as Alexis turns and is knocked down by Grande. Kane stirs as Asher does too. Crissy is knocked down by Ikiro. Adam runs Manvel across the ring. He bounces off and Adam goes for clothesline. Manvel slides underneath. He gets up and smirks and just then, Ikiro nails him with the KARAOKE kick and Manvel goes up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Ikiro knocking out his former ally. Manvel out!”

Knots: “He may love battle royals! Won’t love this one!”

Ikiro then looks at him before turning around and Adam nails him with a hard right and then another. He runs him over to the corner. Ikiro goes face first into it. Crissy stirs as Alexis grabs Dante and works with him as Kane nails Venti, knocking him down. Asher gets up and Goddard nails him with a hard right and Goddard looks at Adam. Adam nails Ikiro with another shot before whipping him across. Goddard clotheslines him down and looks at Adam. Goddard lunges and Adam backs up. Goddard nails him in the ribs with a hard right and then a left. The crowd roars as Goddard gets a few more shots in and Adam covers up before Goddard pulls him out. He then drags him out, but Kane notices him and Asher does too. Goddard grabs Adam, but Asher and Kane run over and push them into the ropes before starting to lift them up. Adam and Goddard hold onto one another and they go up and over to the floor. The crowd roars and then boos.

Sharper: “Goddard and Allocco were looking to finish their issue, but Hayes and Kane ending that! Both eliminated!”

Knots: “Can’t focus on anything but trying to win this. Everyone wants the chance. A lot of hungry people in this match.”

Quinne nails Dante with a couple of shots as Venti and Grande head over to Braunschweiger. Braunschweiger nails Venti and then Grande as Kane is knocked down by Crissy. Crissy clubs him in the back and then again. Ikiro stirs too as Braunschwieger then runs out and clothesline Venti and Grande. He turns and heads over to Ikiro and grabs him, but Ikiro headbutts him and nails him with ahard right and then another. Crissy sees this and moves over and runs over and nails Braunschweiger with a jump enziguri. Braunschweiger staggers back and Venti and Grande get up, joined by Ikiro and Crissy and they start to lift him up. The crowd roars as Braunschweiger holds onto the ropes before they hoist him up and throw him up and over. The crowd boos. Venti and Grande turn and Ikiro nails Venti and Crissy kicks Grande in the ribs. Quinne is knocked back by Dante and Dante clotheslines her down. Asher meanwhile is nailed by a vicious headbutts by Kane.

Sharper: “Braunschweiger out as Asher just found out that Kane will drop you with that headbutt!”

Knots: “Turned right into it. Kane doesn’t care. He wants the response!”

Kane smirks and looks around as Crissy forearms Grande in the jaw and then again, knocking him to the ropes. Ikiro nails Venti with a series of hard rights. Gardner and Ikiro both turn and step back. As they down, Kane grabs Ikiro and turns and throws him up and over the top rope and to the floor as the crowd boos. Crissy runs at Grande, but Grande gets an elbow up. He steps forward and grabs her and turns to throw her over the top rope. He holds on as we then see Kane head over and nail him in the back. Dante clubs him in the back. Kane staggers back. Dante nails him with a hard right and then a left before he kicks him in the ribs. He goes for a snap DDT, but Kane blocks it and spins out and throws him into Quinne, who pulls the top rope down. Dante goes up and over. The crowd cheers. Quinne gets up and Kane runs over and jumps up and dropkicks her in the jaw, sending her over the top rope to the floor too. Kane looks around.

Sharper: “Quinne and Dante out. Kane getting some revenge there. Getting the last laugh maybe!”

Knots: “We’re down to five!”

Gardner nail Grande with a shot, but Venti knees her in the ribs. Asher starts to get up as Kane turns and goes over to Grande and grabs him. He starts to lift him up, but Grande fights and kicks at Kane in the head and then again. Kane stumbles back and Asher clotheslines him down. Kane hits the mat. Grande drops down as Grande goes to lift Venti up, but Grande turns and kicks Crissy in the ribs. She falls to the ropes. Asher turns and nails Gande with a hard right and then another. Venti turns and grabs Gardner, but Gardner jumps up and locks in a headscissors. She hooks the top rope as she starts to lean back. Venti starts to go over as Grande kicks Asher in the ribs. Asher falls back. Grande runs out and Asher ducks, runs into the ropes, bounces off and then runs forward and hits the Dust to Dust on Grande, sending him up and over. Crissy gets Venti over and holds on as he falls to the floor. The crowd roars. Crissy slowly stirs and starts to get up and Kane runs over and dives at Crissy, and nails her, knocking her off. The crowd roars and then boos a bit.

Sharper: “Grande and Venti out! Crissy right after.”

Knots: “The desperation from Crissy and then Kane. Now down to two! Asher Hayes and Max Kane.”

Sharper: “Huge opportunity in the balance!”

Kane backs up and rolls over and laughs. Asher Hayes looks at him. Kane then pulls himself up. He then looks at him, confidently, and tells him to come at him. Asher obliges, lunging at him and going for a hard right. Kane ducks and spins around. He nails Asher with a hard right and then another before kicking him in the ribs. He then grabs him and goes to whip him across. Asher spins through and sends him in. Kane runs up the corner and then dives back. Asher ducks and Kane just crashes to the mat. He rolls over and starts to get up and Asher turns and runs to the ropes, jumps to the middle rope and hits the Ash-Sault. Asher looks at Kane and grabs him. He pulls him up and turns and goes to spin and throw him over the top rope, but Kane spins through and nearly sends Asher up and over. He holds on at the last moment, hanging up on the top rope. Kane turns and goes over and grabs him and pushes him over. Asher lands on the apron. He looks up and Kane grabs him and nails him with a hard right and then another before Asher suddenly hits a shoulder tackle to the ribs. Kane grimaces and Asher hooks him up by the head and pulls him over. He then hoists him up. The crowd roars. Kane however spins and lands on the apron. Kane nails him with a headbutt. Asher stumbles back.

Sharper: “Both on the apron. Whoever falls, they’ll lose out!”

Knots: “And Kane again just drilled Asher, but both dazed because of it!”

Kane shakes it off and then turns and runs at Asher, but Asher kicks him in the ribs. He hooks his head and then sets up for a hammerlock DDT, before shaking his head and just kneeing Kane in the jaw and Kane falls off the apron and to the floor. The crowd roars as Asher falls to the ropes and then through them and into the ring. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, Asher Hayes!”

The crowd cheers. “Rope” by Foo Fighters plays throughout the stadium.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes returns and now has a shot at trying to reclaim SCW gold!”

Knots: “He can decide! Adrenaline Title, either Datura or Regan Street. Or US title, Bree Lancaster or Aaron Blackbourne!”

Sharper: “Asher Hayes kicking us off with a hell of a return. Could it be a chance to get some of that past glory? We’ll find out. Right Spirit?”

Asher continues to celebrate in the ring as we hear Spirit’s voice.

Spirit: “Indeed Adam. And Asher Hayes has a big opportunity. But as he looks to reclaim past glories, two individuals are calling it a career tonight. Donovan Kayl and Brittany Lohan. And we have this special look at their big nights tonight!”

The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

The scene opens up with a shot through a window, driving down the highway. We then see Donovan Kayl arriving at the AT&T Stadium in a taxi. He gets out and nods and smirks as we see Devon Kayl in the shot, filming Donovan.

Donovan: “Thanks for this cousin.”

The cab driver walks over to the trunk and pulls out Donovan’s luggage. Donovan hands them a generous tip before grabbing it. The camera follows Donovan as Donovan sighs.

Donovan: “Last time I’ll be doing this. It’s real simple though. The traditions are easy to keep. Missing this is going to be big.”

We then cut to see Brittany Lohan walking backstage. She’s in a Dawn Lohan t-shirt as she walks backstage and looks around. The camera follows her as she walks.

Brittany: “Not really doing anything but walking. Remembering all of this. Remembering being here. And not having security after me.”

Brittany laughs a bit. We cut to a shot where she’s looking out and taking a deep breath.

Brittany: “Still not used to it.”

The scene cuts to show Brittany and Rachel Tatum Lee backstage. Rachel and her are talking, the camera picking up some of it.

Rachel: “This is what ya wanted. You gonna give yourself what ya want?”

Brittany: “Trust me, Rachel. I’m ready for it. I’ll need to get myself in that headspace, but tonight, we’re going to show people we may be from a gone era, but they’re going to love it.”

Rachel: “That’s what I wanna hear. Anything less and I’d be crackin’ ya cross tha jaw again.”

The scene switches to see Donovan and Kennedy Street sharing a hug. Kennedy nods as Donovan walks off. The camera following him as he does. Donovan Kayl can be heard sighing.

Donovan: “A lot of people acting like I’m dying. But…part of me is. While Katie can write what she wants, I know after tonight, it’s over. And that’s…weird.”

We cut to see Simon Lyman and Donovan Kayl then walking backstage as Trinity Street is with them too. We see them laughing as Donovan Kayl claps a bit and nods before we cut to see Brittany Lohan alone. She takes a deep breath.

Lohan: “You should leave.”

Cameraman: “We still planned to follow you a bit longer-“

Lohan: “Leave. I owe this to myself.”

A quick cut leads to the cameraman backing up and turning and filming Lohan as we close the door as she starts to get in the right frame of mind. The scene then fades to black.

A panning shot of the crowd follows as the crowd cheers, many of them noticing they’re on camera. The stadium is fuller and fuller as the camera continues to pan across the crowd.

Spirit: “We are almost ready for the start of Rise to Greatness. And we know it will be a huge night. We’ve talked about a lot, but we all know the World Championship will be something every fan is focusing on. Syren defends against Glory Braddock and Alistaire Allocco.”

Dean: “Glory has been a champion elsewhere. Not here. Here’s her chance and she has a plan. It will involve doing whatever necessary, but focusing on her skill, to outdo and outduel Syren. But Alistaire, he says he’ll try to outwrestle Syren or Glory.”

Trinity: “Alistaire may be in over his head. He is a hell of a wrestler. He won Taking Hold of the Flame. But Syren and Infamous has taken this desire to hold onto the title into the cynical realm, doing anything necessary. It’s a triple threat. No rules.”

Dean: “No rules, but we can only hope that Glory Braddock will be prepared for Infamous. Ravyn, Christy, they’ll be in action earlier too. But CHBK and Alexander Crowe may be a problem. But then, if that happens, maybe we’ll see Alistaire and Glory and Syren show what they can do in the ring.”

Trinity: “But for Syren, that’s not the plan. And as much as I hate to say it, she can compete. But Glory and Alistaire need to deal with whatever strategy she and her allies have come up with. There will be many. I know all too well.”

Spirit: “We will see if Glory Braddock and Alistaire Allocco will be ready for whatever Syren throws at them. We hope we’re ready for what Rise to Greatness will throw at us. And it’s not too late to order tonight’s huge event. It’s next, but first, let’s take a look at how we got to this World Championship, main event. For Trinity Street and Dean Black, I’m Spirit Dansby, thank you for joining us!”

The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

Alistaire Allocco and Rachel Tatum Lee in the middle of the ring appear, before we cut to a shot of the Taking Hold of the Flame logo before cutting to both and seeing Alistaire Allocco hitting a rolling German suplex. This is followed by a shot of Rachel Tatum Lee hitting Allocco with a jawbreaker.

Sharper: “Rachel Tatum Lee. Alistaire Allocco. One of these two is going to Rise to Greatness to challenge for the World Championship!”

Rachel is then shown going for the Laredo Lasso, but Alistaire ducks and Rachel gets caught in the ropes. She tries to stop herself, but Alistaire turns and pushes her over the top rope to the floor before falling to the mat.

Phillips: “Here is your winner of the sixteenth Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal, Alistaire Allocco!”

Sharper: “Alistaire Allocco outduels Rachel Tatum Lee to win a shot at the World Championship at Rise to Greatness!”

This is followed by a shot of Alistaire Allocco standing in the ring, a mixture of confused, relieved and happy, as his father, Adam, celebrates for him.

CHBK: “It is with great pleasure…that I give to you the greatest World Champion in SCW history…”

The crowd boos as we see Syren holding the SCW World Championship.

Syren: “I proved that Sienna Swann couldn’t beat me. She tried…she tried real hard and at some point, I’m apparently going to have to deal with her again, but it’s not something I care about right now. The fact is…she tried to outstrategize THIS…and she failed.”

We see a shot of Steve Hollinsworth sliding into the ring as Sienna Swann has a steel chair. Syren grabs at the chair and holds onto it. Sienna however slides it toward Syren and catches her in the legs as she’s kneeling by it. Syren rolls away. This is followed by Sienna attempting to hit Syren with the chair, who ducks it. The chair bounces off the ropes, hits Sienna in the face and Syren rolls her up.

The crowd roars as Sienna kicks out after three and Syren rolls out of the ring. The crowd roars and then boos!

Sharper: “We were wondering where an official was, but timing on the side of Syren…”

Knots: “That can’t be coincidence! That can’t be!”

Sharper: “Sienna Swann incensed. Syren is the unified champion.”

The scene cuts to Syren smirking in the ring.

Syren: “The problem is that at Rise to Greatness, I’m not sure where the challenge is. Don’t get me wrong – Alistaire Allocco is a damn good wrestler. I’ve watched the tape. And in the ring, it’s our first time meeting…he’s a threat…to a degree. I’ve been on this stage before. And I’ve won. But frankly, if Alistaire walks into Rise to Greatness expecting a mat classic, the fact is that I just care about one thing…walking out with this!”

We see shots of Alistaire Allocco breaking upon getting to the ropes, shaking his finger at his partners, before even admonishing his father.

Syren: “You just can’t outthink us. Outwrestle…maybe…but please…don’t kid yourself. I’ve held this title as much as I have for a damn good reason!”

Alistaire is shown on the stage, confronting Syren.

Alistaire: “You can claim you’ll have the best strategy, but I know darn well I can outwrestle you Syren. You’ve gotten lazy. You’ve gotten complacent. Needing to rely on cheap shots, on nefarious plans, on a lack of competition! And after hearing Sasha earlier, a need to have a champion without controversy…that champion is me!”

Syren: “Whatever Alistaire…I’m not impressed!”

Sharper: “Someone needs to knock her down. Talking strategy. No it’s not strategy. It’s a slap in the face to every wrestler in SCW!”

Knots: “We’ll see whether that will mean a new champion at Rise to Greatness, but I hope Alistaire Allocco is ready for this!”

The scene cuts to show Adam Allocco talking to Sasha backstage.

Adam: “And then you want to know the problem with Taking Hold of the Flame…”

Sasha: “No, what?”

Sasha asks deadpanning.

Adam: “I wasn’t the special referee. Give me the zebra shirt, I’ll hop in there and I’ll make for damn sure that none of those cheaters prosper. Just my son Alistaire!”

We head forward briefly to see Alistaire entering the room.

Alistaire: “Don’t do anything! I will ensure it’s a fair fight. I’m fine with their nefarious means. I know I can defeat anyone who will use it. I saw their hollow words. I will outdo them. I will outdo them on THEIR terms.”

Adam: “Alistaire…stop.”

Alistaire is shown walking off as Sasha and Adam watch him leave.

Sharper: “He’s asking for no special treatment. Against Infamous.”

Knots: “He’s either confident, arrogant or stupid. Maybe all three!”

Just then, we hear the sound of a record scratching as “When Legends Rise” by Godmack is briefly heard. Sasha is shown walking out with Glory before we see focus only on Glory.

Glory: “Earlier tonight, I knew I made the right decision when I saw Alistaire Allocco claim that he can face Syren and whatever her minions cook up and will try to defeat it all. That’s not striving for greatness…that’s foolishness. And as someone who was raised to appreciate the rules and traditions of this sport, written or unwritten, I can’t let someone as naïve as Alistaire be our hope when I am standing right here. So at Rise to Greatness, Syren will defend her SCW World Championship against Alistaire Allocco….and ME!”

“Legendary” by Skillet starts to play in the background. Shots of Owen Cruze and Alistaire Allocco competing follow before Owen Cruze hits a Shiranui on Alistaire Allocco and then rolls to the floor as Sienna Swann and Chris Cannon step out on the stage. The bell rings and Alistaire is shown protesting the countout win with the official.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via countout, Alistaire Allocco!”

Sharper: “Alistaire wins as Owen completely turned his attention to Chris and Sienna and is running after them. He’s protesting.”

Glory Braddock and Alistaire Allocco are then shown backstage as Glory walks up to him.

Glory: “You just proved everything I’ve been saying about you. You get handed a win and you protest. Great that you want to go by the rules and everything. With Syren…there are no rules. And in fact, in my match, it’s a triple threat. I suppose I should note it’s no disqualification for that reason there. What does that do to your head? I can bring a steel chair into that ring and hit Syren and it’s perfectly legal.”

Alistaire: “But wrong.”

Glory: “Exactly the difference. Syren knows she can twist you in knots. Me…I’m a threat. You…you’re a message. You want to be champion again, you better start to realize something about this sport. People do anything to win. Nice guys…they really do finish last.”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via technical submission, Glory Braddock!”

Sharper: “Glory Braddock has choked out Christy Matthews!”

Knots: “That could happen to Syren! That could happen to Alistaire Allocco!”

This is followed by a shot of Alistaire Allocco in the ring as we see Alexander Crowe running into the ring, coming from the crowd, before showing CHBK hitting Adam Allocco with the Bittersweet Ending and then seeing Alistaire taking Crowe down before getting nailed by the SCW World Championship, courtesy of Syren. Ravyn, Christy Matthews, CHBK and Syren then start to stomp away on Alistaire.

Glory Braddock and Angelica Jones run from the back holding chairs. Crowe motions to Syren as Christy motions to Ravyn. Glory and Angelica get up in the ring, holding their chairs as a “Glory!” chant can be heard in the background.

Sharper: “Two different approaches, two different styles to deal with Infamous, but can either deal with whatever Syren and Infamous have planned for Rise to Greatness to hold onto that World Title!”

Alistaire Allocco is shown attacking Crowe with a snap fireman’s carry and then showing him belly to belly suplexing him over, before CHBK can be seen hitting a chop block on him. This is followed by shots CHBK going for the leg, onyly for Alistaire to hit an exploder suplex on CHBK. Angelica Jones and Glory Braddock can be seen at ringside, brandishing chairs, as Syren and Ravyn stand at the stage. Christy can be seen attacking Alistaire now, before we cut to show him hitting a release northern lights suplex on Crowe and hitting an elbow to Christy.

Knots: “He’s just fighting and fighting!”

This is followed by shots of Alistaire hitting exploder suplexes on Christy Matthews and then powerbombing Ravyn with a release powerbomb before Syren slides in and nails Alistaire with the title again. Infamous start to stomp away on Alistaire. This leads Glory and Angelica to enter, with Glory hitting Crowe with her chair, and then showing Angelica nailing Christy as Syren rolls out of the ring, but the title remains in the ring.

Sharper: “Glory and Angelica saving Alistaire with the chairs!”

Knots: “Infamous sent scrambling!”

Sharper: “And look! The title’s in the ring!”

Knots: “Glory just saw it. Syren knows it!”

A shot of Glory holding the title follows, before showing Syren celebrating with it after Taking Hold of the Flame, and then finally a shot of Alistaire when he first won the title, just looking at it.
