“Supreme Championship
Wrestling...”
A shot of Kelcey
Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve
Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to
Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way
to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn
Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a
shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot
of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme
Saturday: Just Desserts.
“The leading force in sports and
entertainment today....”
MAIN SHOW:
The
scene opens up with a live shot of the inside of
Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The crowd can be seen filing into the
building. Several thousand fans already are on the floor as the cameras pan
across the scene.
Winters:
“Fans, welcome to Las Vegas, Nevada! Welcome to the site of Rise to Greatness
XIX!”
The
cameras continue to pan across the crowd. Several fans are shown talking to one
another. A family is shown with the kids ready for wrestling action. We then
cut to a desk set up off to the side of the stage. There, Jessica Winters and Simon
Lyman seat.
Winters:
“Welcome here to our news desk here. Jessica Winters and Simon Lyman here to host
you the rest of the way. We are just about half an hour away from the start of
the biggest event of the year. Big night, huh, Simon?”
Lyman:
“That’s putting it mildly.”
Lyman
speaks as we keep with panning shots of the crowd.
Lyman:
“Tonight, we already saw two titles on the line last night. People giving it their
all at SCW Fanfest. Tonight, four titles on the line and not just that, but
pride. And pride in the way that you have a series of matchups tonight that
people not only want to win, but they’re planning to build their next year on
this. This is their night where they can tell themselves where they stand. They
want title shots if they don’t already have them. They want the titles they’re
competing for. They want the memories. Jessica. I’ll put it this way – you think
of Rise to Greatness? What comes to mind?”
Winters:
“Griffin hitting the Decimator on CHBK off the top rope. Shawn Winters ending
his career with four Kiss the Skys against Xander
Valentine. The attempt by Monarchy to fleece the World Title. Frozen Hell winning
the tag titles.”
Lyman:
“I’ll include my retirement in there too.”
The
two laugh.
Lyman:
“But seriously – it’s the moments. This is a night people dream of doing
something people will always remember. And it’s just the wins or the losses, or
the title aspirations coming true. It’s about putting their body on the line and
going down in history for what you did. Good or bad. People remember this
night. And so everyone is on pins and needles. Everyone
has those butterflies. Everyone wants to walk out victorious. But they want to
walk out remembered!”
Winters:
“Well said Simon. And you’ll be calling the action tonight. You’ll have a front
row seat there. Last night, Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots on the call and we
had some big moments.”
LAST NIGHT:
Zdunich runs
into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a discus clothesline, but Sky ducks
and hooks her, spinning her through only to stop her and then throw her back
with the Psychedelic Spiral! The crowd ohs.
Lyman:
“As you see here. New number one contender to the Adrenaline Championship crowned.
Ace Sky nearly won it. But a break up and then Joseph
and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat stole it.”
Sky goes
for the pin.
1!
2!
Davis
enters and breaks it up. The crowd ohs. Davis rolls off. Sky lets go and Crystal
remains down. Sky slowly gets up as Davis slowly pulls himself up. Sky then
gets up and kicks him in the ribs. Davis falls to the corner. Joseph meanwhile
crawls over to Crystal and throws herself over Crystal as Sky goes for another
kick, but Davis catches it and drops down, holding onto it as Sky tries to get
free.
1!
2!
3!
The
crowd roars and boos. Davis lets go and throws his arms in the air. He motions
for the title as Joseph rolls to the floor. Sky turns and lunges at her. He
then looks around, shaking his head.
Winters:
“Still TV champion. Now with the Adrenaline Championship opportunity. Simply
put, the Brand and the Haus of Nirvana have a big back up plan depending on
what happens tonight. And I should note that with that, the Adrenaline Champion
is in trouble.”
The RTG XIX
logo comes up on the screen. We open up inside the
Fanfest where Autumn Valentine is arriving at her table. Fans cheer as she
looks around, holding her SCW Adrenaline Championship. Guards hold some of the
fans back as Autumn gets situated.
Sharper: “There you see the
Adrenaline Champion about to get ready. SCW Fanfest is a great time for fans to
meet their favourites. Tonight, we’re going late as fans are excited for
tomorrow.”
Knots: “She better hope it goes
fast. She will want a good night’s sleep!”
She places her Adrenaline Championship
down as she looks over as we see some pictures ready to be signed, but also a
couple of Autumn Valentine actions figures and also a
bouquet of roses. But joining it is a life sized teddy
bear with a big red bow on the stomach at the end of the table. The tag on the
bow says “from a friend.” Autumn looks at it and then
turns to the guard who steps back.
Guard: “Been here for a little
while. Brunette dropped it off.”
Autumn smirks.
Autumn: “Of course. She’s with
them…probably just a little reminder she’s with Bear.”
Autumn turns to the crowd as but
something stops her. Two large bear arms, in fact. Slapping on either side of
her face, they hold her head still as she tries to move away. One second she seems to be making headway, the second after. A
stream of black viscus liquid streams out of the eye and of the bear and lands
into the eyes of the woman. Stumbling backward, Amber falls over the table and
spills into the audience, scrambling to get the notorious black liquid out of
her eyes. The bear rips in half at the bow, and Sarah Wolf emerges.
Lyman: “Autumn Valentine
attacked by Sarah Wolf before she had her assigned autograph session. Revenge
for Autumn helping Dancing Bear on Breakdown.”
Winters: “And this could have
trickle down. Autumn injured. We know she’s cleared. But also, this adds
another layer to the World Tag Team Championship between Sarah Wolf and
Kimberly Williams and the Happy Farmstead Friends tonight.”
The black liquid dripping out of
her mouth and down her chin. Sarah laughs as the crowd boos and gasps. A guard
runs over to check on Autumn and another stands between Autumn and Sarah. Sarah
grabs a lone rose from the ground and slides it between her shark like teeth,
before walking away joyfully.
Winters: “And on that note,
Gavin Sattler is backstage with an update from Autumn Valentine.”
The scene opens backstage
where we see Autumn Valentine at the trainer’s office getting checked out. She’s
in her wrestling gear. Lexy Chapel looks on.
Sattler: “I’m here with Autumn
Valentine who is getting some last minute preparations
for her match tonight. The Adrenaline Championship match is scheduled to open
Rise to Greatness XIX. And Autumn, Sarah Wolf attacking you. How are you
feeling going into this match?”
Chapel turns to Sattler.
Chapel: “How is she feeling?
Oh…just more on the conspiracy. She gets to Rise to Greatness as champion and THIS
happens. People saying it’s revenge. Sarah Wolf just is a pure rage machine and she is going to get hers tonight. Going against
the Godless Killing Machines that are the Happy Farmstead Friends!”
Sattler: “Aren’t they part-time
children’s entertainers?”
Chapel: “Besides the point. Tonight she is going regret it and Autumn, baby, you’re
going to kick ass.”
Sattler turns to Autumn as the
trainer steps back. Autumn looks up, squinting a bit, and showing some redness
around her eyes.
Autumn: “I may not be one
hundred percent, but I’ll be damned if I go down without
a fight. Tonight, I focus on the Adrenaline Championship. After…Sarah Wolf…you
have your revenge now against the Farmstead Friends. Well, after, I’ll show you
what revenge really is!”
Sattler: “Thank you for your time,
Autumn.”
Sattler turns to the camera.
We cut back to the desk. Jessica
Winters turns to Simon Lyman.
Winters: “You see her eyes.
She’s not at one hundred percent.”
Lyman: “But the fight is there
and it’s a fourway match. The Brand has two. Datura may
be with GiGi Aries. You have Alexis Quinne. A lot of big talent. But she’s been cleared. That’s
the important part and she has a fighting chance. We’ll find out how good of
one tonight.”
We then cut to show the Happy
Farmstead set up by the stage.
Winters: “Meanwhile, there you
see the Happy Farmstead. Set up by the stage. That’s where the World Tag Team
Championship will take place. We’ve been told that Lexy Chapel has brought in her
crew. Children are also going to be present.”
Lyman: “What?!”
Winters: “I’m just saying what
she’s said. This is going to be one of the most unique matches in SCW history.”
Lyman: “That’s one way to put
it. It could be among the most violent.”
Winters: “And it all started
at Taking Hold of the Flame!”
The
Rise to Greatness XIX logo comes up on the screen.
“Taking
Hold of the Flame”
The
words flash on the screen as we cut to see Hairless Penguin in the battle
royal. We also see Sarah Wolf. Wolf turns around as Kim then runs at her and nails
her with the Shadowblade. Wolf stumbles back and
Penguin, recovering, pulls down on the top rope, trying to get up, and Wolf
goes up and over to the floor.
“Several Moments Later”
Quinne turns and Kim nails her with a
hard right and then hits a guillotine drop while on the apron. Kim smirks and
pulls herself up, but Penguin pulls himself into the ring and just throws
himself at Kim. Kim falls back, trying to grab onto the ropes, but falls back
to the floor. The crowd ohs and boos as Kim looks up. Penguin slides back away
from the ropes, looking at Kim in a mix of terror and relief!
Sharper: “I don’t believe it!
Penguin! Penguin has eliminated Kim Williams!”
The scene cuts to black before
we show a shot of Sarah Wolf’s tweet promising to flay Hairless Penguin. We
then see Kim Williams’s tweets in response to Wolf. We then cut to see Hairless
Penguin backstage, jumpy, concerned, and trying to hide. We cut to show the
Happy Farmstead Friends in the LexyCorp locker room.
Chapel: “You know what. You two
need air. You’re cooped up in here and you’re making both my wife and I
nervous! Go!”
Penguin: “Wait! Wa-“
Chapel advances on them and
Penguin falls back and out of the door. Bear steps out to go and help Bear.
Chapel: “Go for a walk and clear
your head. It’ll calm you down! Now I need to figure this…find Ace…get that
match for you Autumn.”
Penguin: “Hey Wait!”
We cut forward to show them with
Holly Adams, signing a contract before we see Sarah Wolf coming after the
Farmstead Friends backstage. The Hollymobile rolls up
as we see them frantically try to get away. Holly has just kept going and runs
around the van. A large man is in the driver’s seat. Holly goes around and
opens the passenger door and steps inside. She closes it as Penguin and Bear
snap out of it and run. Wolf runs at them too. Bear tries to open the side door
but struggles mightly.
Penguin: “Open it bear! QUICK!
QUICK!”
Bear: “Damn my Bear hands!
They’re too big! EVERYTHING IS TOO BIG!”
Penguin: “Move!”
Penguin turns and goes to open
it.
Penguin: “What the…it’s locked!”
Holly: “Whoops! Brittany!”
We then see Sarah Wolf attacking
Samuel Davis and Clamidiya who were left as fodder.
AS the Hollymobile only drives a bit further before a
car pulls out and crashes into it. We then see the driver’s side door of the
truck open and Kim stand up on the edge.
Kim: “Yay! I helped! I helped!
Come on Wolfie! I want to see a flaying!”
Penguin: “DRIVE! DRIVE!”
Penguin can be heard from inside
the van.
Bear: “LIFE COACH OUT OF THIS
HOLLY!”
Holly: “I’m TRYING! BRITTANY!”
The Hollymobile
driving off follows before we cut to show shots of Holly Adams & GiGi Aries facing The Happy Farmstead Friends for the SCW
World Tag Team Championship the following week on Breakdown. We see shots of
Penguin concerned as Sarah Wolf just watches from the crowd.
Lyman: “She’s moving, Adam!”
Bear joins Lexy, even nearly
knocking her out of the way as he reaches out, trying to help pull Penguin out.
Holly holds onto Penguin though as Cid sees this. Wolf walks over to the ring
and pulls herself onto the apron. She then enters the ring and starts to walk
forward. Cid sees this and rolls into the ring. He then sees Holly holding onto
Penguin and Bear as the official tells Wolf to leave. Wolf nails him with a
hard right. Demitra goes down. Wolf then runs over and
kicks at Penguin, nailing him over and over. Cid sees this and runs over and
shoves Wolf back before turning to Holly and prying her arms off from Penguin.
Penguin is pulled out by Bear, landing on him in a heap. Wolf turns and looks
at Cid before pulling herself to the floor.
Sharper: “Wolf got some shots
in. She just blasted Demitra!”
Knots: “Cid! What are you
doing?!”
Sharper: “Cid saving Hairless
Penguin!”
Knots: “It’s a bit on the nose
to try to save yourself, Cid!”
Penguin scrambles up and Lexy
looks at Bear. Penguin grabs her and turns her as Bear gets up. The three bolt as they head around the ring.
Sharper: “The Farmstead Friends
are getting out of dodge!”
Knots: “They’ve left the
titles!”
Wolf starts to chase after them.
We cut to the scene after.
Chapel: “The titles!”
Chapel turns to go back, but sees Sarah Wolf heading down the hallway. Chapel
turns back and runs after Penguin and Bear as they quickly run into their
locker room. They go in and slam the door. Wolf, no longer running, just stalks
up to the door and looks at it. She turns and looks around before walking off.
Sharper: “Wolf tracking the Tag
Team Champions to their locker room.”
Knots: “Well that was easy.
She’s stopped by a door! I mean she doesn’t use the entrance. Doors may be too
much for her-“
Sharper: “MY GOD!”
We then see Wolf back, swinging
a fire axe at the door. The crowd ohs. She swings again and this time, gets it
stuck in the door. She starts to pry it out as officials and security arrive on
the scene.
Knots: “She nuts?!”
Lyman: “This is over the top!
She’s taking an axe to their locker room door!”
Wolf tries to keep pulling the
axe out and does. The guards and officials back up as she swings
again, this time, cracking a hole in the door. We hear yells inside as the
officials then again move in and this time, restrain her. Wolf is pulled back.
Shaun Cruze appears on the scene as Wolf keeps
focusing on the room.
Wolf: “I’m not done!”
Wolf tries to struggle but is
overpowered by the group of security as they pull her back.
Cruze: “Get her out of here!”
Cruze points as Wolf is dragged off
by security. We then cut a week forward where Autumn Valentine is celebrating
with the SCW Adrenaline Championship after defeating Cid Turner in a steel cage
match. We see Hairless Penguin dressed as Iceburgh,
the Pittsburgh Penguins mascot. He remains down next to the floor before we see
Wolf grabbing Penguin and shoving him into the cage.
Sharper: “Wait! Wait! Penguin!
He let his guard down! He let his guard down and Sarah Wolf! Wolf is
attacking!”
Wolf grabs Penguin and stuffs
him into the cage as quickly as she can. Penguin turns, trying to crawl back
out, but Wolf grabs the cage down and slams it shut, catching Penguin in the
top of the head. Penguin rolls into the ring, clutching his head and Wolf then
reaches into her pants and pulls out a chain and a lock. She climbs up the
steel steps and goes into the ring. She slams the cage door closed, placing the
chain through the chainlick
and then taking the lock and locking it. The crowd roars.
Lyman: “She’s locked herself
inside the cage with Penguin!”
Sharper: “Oh God! We need help!”
We see Wolf hammering away on
Penguin, having torn off the Penguin head, and going after him.
Knots: “She friggin’ hates Penguins!
Does that count for flaying one?”
Wolf then looks at Penguin and
then drags him over to the corner by the mask. Standing up Penguin, she grabs
at the eye holes and tears at the mask before the nailing him over and over and over again, with hard rights. The crowd boos as
Wolf rears back with each blow, as she commits the Dolled Up to Penguin. We
then see officials running out from the back, including Bear, Autumn and Bear
who have realized what’s happening.
Sharper: “Lexy back out. Autumn
too. This is ruining her celebration!”
Lyman: “Look! The blood! She’s
busting him open with those strikes!”
We cut to Penguin to see him
bleeding through his mask, a result of the hard right hands. Wolf just stays
focused, continuing her dismantling and attack on Penguin with hard right
hands. We then hear another roar from the crowd as we see officials trying to
get in, opening the door. Bear tries to climb, but
falls down. We then see Autumn starting to climb as then Wasley
is thrown up and hits the side of the cage and comes down. We then see Kimberly
Williams waving jovially before running over and grabbing Wasley.
Bear turns and heads over to her as Autumn climbs down. Kim turns and tries to
throw Wasley in again as Wolf gets a few more shots
in before officials, now armed with bolt cutters brought from the back, undo
the chain. The open it and Wolf steps back, her hand cover in blood as Penguin,
blood covering his face is down in the corner. Wolf is pulled back by
officials. She just smiles as Kim gets into it with Bear and Autumn. We then
hear another roar as Deanna Frost comes down from the back. She quickly is held
back by a few officials as Kim just laughs, enjoying the attention around her.
Sharper: “This is a chaotic
scene! Look at Penguin! Penguin is destroyed!”
Knots: “He’s a bloody pulp!”
Sharper: “Sarah Wolf with an
evil smirk. Kim Williams laughing. Was she down here for support or just
because of the chaos.”
Lyman: “She also hates Penguin
too. And Deanna’s out here after earlier!”
The scene then cuts a week
forward where we see Penguin laying in a bed, presumably at his home.
Penguin: “Last week, I was nearly
murdered! Someone came and tried to murder me. I shouldn’t be surprised. They
claimed they would flay me.”
Penguin pauses.
Penguin: “Children, do you know
what a bully is?”
We hear the
sound of children saying “Yeah!”
Penguin: “The Happy Farmstead
Friends are going to show the world how to stand up to a bully. You stand up to
a bully by well…standing up to them. They take them on head on. And we’re going
to do it here.”
The camera then pans back to
show the Happy Farmstead Friends set. Penguin extends his arms.
Penguin: “Well…we’re going to
bring the set to Rise to Greatness. Lexy has it all worked out! The children
can even watch. Because we’re going to give the biggest message to the world. I
did one thing…I eliminated you and Kim from the Taking Hold of the Flame battle
royal. This little penguin went almost to the end. And you couldn’t handle it.
Not only that, you tried to take my identity. I may be
a farmstead friend! I may be a children’s entertainer, but I am also a hero!”
The children yay.
Penguin: “And no amount of blood
you spill can change that. No amount of fear will change that. With this mask,
I become who I am…the Hairless Penguin! And Sarah Wolf, Kimberly Williams….you will come to this Happy Farmstead and we will Happy
Farmstead Fu….dge You Up!”
We then cut forward where
Kimberly Williams is skipping backstage.
???: “Hey!”
Kim stops and spins around in an
exaggerated fashion. We then see Sarah Wolf walking up to her.
Kim: “Oh yay! My worst friend! I
was hoping you’d be Deanna so I could see how her kicks are coming!”
Wolf: “You’re just a wonderful
bundle of joy.”
Kim: “I know! It’s great, isn’t
it?!”
Wolf scoffs and steps forward.
Kim: “We going to kiss?”
Wolf: “No…but you better taking
Rise to Greatness seriously. There’s a penguin and a bear that need to be
ripped limb from limb. And if your cavalier attitude screws that up, I’ll make
sure it’s the worst mistake you ever made.”
Kim: “I hope that’s a promise!”
Wolf: “It’s a vow.”
Wolf looks at Kim before turning
and walking off. Kim waves at her.
Kim: “See you at Rise to
Greatness worstie!”
Kim is shown waving as the Rise
to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.
We open up with a panning view of the crowd again.
Lyman:
“It’s going to be interesting. Can the Hairless Penguin and the Dancing Bear,
the most surprising of tag team champions, manage to find a way to deal with
one of the most violent and unpredictable teams that clearly wants to do them
harm?”
Winters:
“A great question and one of many we hope to find answers to tonight. On top of
that, Kim Williams, no longer the Underground Champion.”
The
RTG XIX logo comes up on the screen.
LAST
NIGHT:
We open up to the end of the Deanna Frost/Kimberly Williams
match from the Rise to Greatness Preshow. Deanna nails Kim with another
shoot kick. The crowd cheers with each one, chanting even. She hits another and
another before backing up and hitting one to the head. The crowd ohs as Kim
slides down to the floor, pulling the staples out. Deanna looks around and then
staggers over to Kim. She drags her up and turns and rolls her onto the float.
Deanna looks around and heads over to the side before pulling away a banquet
chair, presumably used by security or a vendor. She places it in front of the
float. She climbs up onto it and then grabs Kim and lifts her up and pushes her
against the XIX and nails her with a series of hard forearm shots. Kim fires
back. She nails Deanna with a hard right and then a left before Deanna knees
her in the ribs then headbutts her. Kim falls to the logo and Deanna steps back
and onto the chair, giving her a bit more runway.
Lyman: “Deanna Frost and
Kimberly Williams had a fight for the ages. All over Fanfest.”
Winters: “And yet, Deanna
somehow found a way to win.”
Lyman: “Kimberly Williams came
out on a float. Even tried to run Deanna over, before she fought back and then
drove her through the float. The impact enough. And a new Underground Champion
crowned!”
Deanna then turns back and runs
at Kim and jumps up hitting the Burnout on Kim. The impact sends both into the XIX part of the float and knocking it down. Kim ends up
on top of it as Deanna rolls through. She looks around, trying to find Kim
before throwing herself on top of her.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd roars as the bell
sounds. Deanna remains on top of Kim as Kim stirs. Deanna slowly lifts her
head, blood covering the XIX and her face. Hollinsworth walks over and raises
her arm, handing her the SCW Underground Championship. The RTG XIX logo comes
up on the screen.
Winters: “The question is not
only what condition Kim will be in, but what mood. That’s her baby and while
she wanted this match, she can’t be happy about Deanna Frost holding the title.”
Lyman: “And that may just be
more bad news for the Framstead Friends.”
Winters: “Indeed. Meanwhile,
Gavin Sattler has some more news for us. He’s been trying to find out what we
can expect for another unpredictable match tonight. Ravyn
Taylor will face Nicole Kinneck in a no holds barred
match. Ravyn has been trying to bring out Luna, one
of Nicole’s personalities. But so far to no avail. Gavin, what do you know?”
The scene opens
up backstage where Gavin Sattler is standing outside of some of the locker
rooms.
Sattler: “I wish I had more
Jessica. But not too much at this point. I tried to get in to see Nicole Kinneck, but was stopped by two people, first Dillusion, and then Nicole’s partner, Anthony Wallace, who
is also here. This is a new development which may suggest a growing concern
from others. Either way, when I asked Ravyn Taylor
for a comment, she responded that she would get the answers she wants in her
experiment regardless. So here we are, moments away from the start of Rise to
Greatness and we have no clue what to expect.”
Winters: “Thank you Gavin.”
Sattler: “Thanks Jessica.”
We cut back to the desk.
Winters: “Just more unpredictability.”
Lyman: “And from what I’ve
heard and seen, if she shows up, we may be seeing several matches turn more violent.
That match with Ravyn and her being one of them.”
Winters: “Indeed. And speaking
on violence, a personal match will come to a head tonight. The US Title on the
line when Owen Lee challenges Josh Hudson in a submission match. Owen Lee
wanted it. Josh was happy to oblige. And they hate each other. Simple as that.”
Lyman: “Started as jealous.
Hudson wanted to teach Owen a lesson in humility and knock him down the ladder.
For Owen, it’s redemption. Josh Hudson acting as the old guard on one hand, but
also in this, the US Title on the line. And that’s a big opportunity for Owen as
he tried to move on from his terrible decisionmaking last
year.”
Winters: “Let’s take a look!”
“Eye of
the Storm” by Pop Evil starts to play. We open up with
shots of Asher Hayes talking to Josh Hudson backstage, but their voices aren’t
heard. The same is with the following scene where Owen Lee is talking to Asher
Hayes before we cut to show Owen Lee in his locker room.
I know you're running from a
tidal wave you can't ignore
I know you're trapped inside a hurricane, in the Eye of the Storm
Of the storm
Of the storm
When it feels like you can't go on
Owen
opens the door as Hudson runs at Owen and lift him up and spear him into the
wall, leaving an indent in the drywell. Hudson turns and tackles Owen down,
nailing him with repeated right hands to the jaw. We cut forward as Owen
then starts to fight up and Hudson grabs him and pulls him up and then pulls
him in before taking him over with a huge overhead belly to belly suplex down the hallway. Owen hits the floor and slides a
bit. The crowd ohs. Owen rolls over, holding his back. Hudson then gets up and
walks over to him. He stands over him.
Hudson:
“So you’re better than me?! You’re better? They want you! Not me…I’m a f[bleep]ing legend!”
Hudson
stomps Owen in the face.
Hudson:
“You pissed on everything and they give you a pass!”
Hudson
stomps Owen in the face again and then again and again.
Hudson:
“Well I don’t forget! And I’m not going to let ANYONE forget!”
Hudson
then dives onto Owen and starts to grind his fist into the face of Owen. Owen
yells out as Hudson keeps grinding. He then grabs him and pulls him up and runs
him over and into a doorframe. Owen drops to the floor. We cut to officials
pulling Hudson away.
You're only one step away
From breaking down the walls you made
The walls you made and
I know it's hard to move on
I know it's hard to let go
But you're only one step away
From getting out of the Eye of the Storm
Eye of the Storm
We cut
to see Josh Hudson in the ring.
Hudson: “I’m going to make sure
Owen Lee isn’t going to ride his FORMER reputation. I know why you wanted
him…Tactical Warfare. Why not get the guy who won the most famous one. You
know…the same match he complained about how it meant nothing because he wasn’t
getting hand outs or protected.”
Hudson smirks.
Hudson: “Don’t worry Owen. Josh
Hudson here…Hall of Famer…is going to save you from accidentally being tempted
of going down the wrong path. Last week was a taste. At Hollywood of the South,
I plan to take you, to stretch you, and make you cry like a bitch.
Step one on finally earning some respect back in this sport!”
Hudson steps back and looks out
at the camera. He then smirks.
Hudson: “You know…I knew your
dad. The one you’ve moved away from. We shared some time in this ring. Thank
God he’s dead.”
You're one step away
From falling off the edge
It's messing with your head
It's making you forget that you're one step away
From conquering the pain
From overcoming darkness when fear's in the way
We then cut to a shot at
Holly-Wood of the South. We see Josh Hudson and Owen Lee in the ring. Owen
turns and runs at him and Hudson goes to pull the
official in. Owen stops and Hudson lets go of the official. The crowd boos.
Owen turns and moves the official to the side. The official nods and Hudson
then shoves Owen down. Owen and the official fall down. The official rolls over and Owen gets up only for
Hudson to then drop to his knees and low blow him. The crowd ohs and boos.
Hudson then gets up and hoists him onto his shoulders.
Sharper: “Wait! Come on! Low
blow! Hudson went low!”
Lyman: “Owen walked into it! And
now…on his shoulders!”
Sharper: “Kingdom Come! No!”
Hudson then hits the Kingdom
Come. The crowd boos. Hudson goes for the pin. The official turns as Daisy is
fuming on the floor.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd boos as the bell
sounds. We then cut to later that night where Josh Hudson holds the SCW United
States Championship.
You're only one step away
From breaking down the walls you made
The walls you made and
I know it's hard to move on
I know it's hard to let go
But you're only one step away
We cut forward to Taking Hold of
the Flame. We cut to show Owen Lee and Josh Hudson trading blows multiple times
throughout the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. We then cut to see Hudson
eliminated by Allocco and Syren, before showing Owen
Lee looking at him on the ground, smiling as Hudson turns annoyed.
Don't let it bury you, oh
We then cut to the first
Breakdown after Taking Hold of the Flame where Glory Braddock and Owen Lee face
each other. Glory bounces off and Owen lifts her up and hits a hot shot. Glory
hits the top rope and staggers back. Owen gets up and runs past her. He jumps
up for the Redemption, but Glory moves out of the way. Owen steps forward and
Glory limps at him and runs over and pushes him into the ropes before pulling
Owen back with an Okana roll but Owen rolls through.
1!
2!
3!
The crowd roars. Glory kicks out
after the three as Owen falls forward. The bell sounds.
Phillips: “Here is your winner,
via pinfall, Owen Lee!”
Sharper: “Owen counters the roll
up for the win!”
I know you're running from a
tidal wave you can't ignore
I know you're trapped inside a hurricane, in the Eye of the Storm
Lyman: “Hey! Look! Look! Josh
Hudson!”
Hudson slides into the ring as
Owen gets up and Hudson clotheslines him down before Glory gets up only for
Hudson to grab her and throw her over the top rope to the floor. Owen rolls
over and Hudson turns back and Owen gets up and Hudson
takes him down by the arm and then pulls on the arm and the wrist before
locking in a crossface. Owen yells in pain.
Sharper: “Hudson attacking Owen
and Glory!”
Lyman: “He’s going after Owen’s
left arm!”
Hudson pulls back.
Hudson: “Tap, you bitch! Tap!”
Owen yells out as Hudson keeps
pulling back. Owen reaches out before Hudson moves into the Sever(in) Mission.
The crowd boos as Owen struggles for a moment before starting to fade. Hudson
keeps the hold on, his eyes wide in pure rage. Owen fades quickly as the official
calls for the bell again and then tries to get Hudson to stop. Hudson keeps the
hold on as Owen fades entirely, going limp.
Sharper: “Owen Lee is out! Get
help! Hudson has choked him out!”
Knots: “Owen’s completely limp,
guys!”
Sharper: “Get help!”
We then cut to the following
week. Owen Lee is in the ring. We just to see Josh Hudson on the stage too.
Owen: “Looks like Josh Hudson
just can’t get enough of little old me. And while you want to think you’ve
gotten under my skin Josh, coming out here, after I have a hard
fought match with a true legend in Glory Braddock, you have to not only
attack her but attack me. And as we just saw on the footage, you decided that
you wanted to choke me out in the middle of the ring!”
The crowd boos as Owen looks
around.
But you're only one step away
From breaking down the walls you made
The walls you made and
I know it's hard to move on
I know it's hard to let go
(I know it's hard to let go)
Owen: “But the video showed it
there…you wanted me to tap. You wanted me to give up, right? Well, Josh…I’m
right here if you want to try again.”
Owen looks around.
Owen: “You got me last week. Had
to again hit me from behind. Blindside. Keep it going. Because Josh, I have a
little idea. We have an event you know damn well and
maybe I’ll give you one thing you want…all the attention in the world. The
greatest in his own mind…nah, that’s not fair. You’re actually
good in the ring. The record speaks for it. But you’re not living up to
it. But I’ll give you the spotlight. And you can try again with me at Rise to
Greatness XIX! How about that?”
Hudson: “For once, Owen, you’re actually right. You passing
out…that was a happy accident. I’ll never be angry about feeling someone pass
out thanks to my hands in that ring, but that’s not what I wanted. See, Owen,
to me…you’re a quitter. That’s all you are. That’s what I’ve always had a
problem with and you’ve never really redeemed yourself
for it. You never actually did the time for your childishness, but here we are and Papa Hudson needs to give you the ass kicking your
dad isn’t here to give you.”
Owen: “How touching!”
Hudson: “It is. And to that end,
you and me at Rise to Greatness…I’ll happily kick your
ass there.”
The crowd roars.
Owen: “Well Josh, I’m not going
to back down. In fact, I think I have another challenge to make. We got you and
I at Rise to Greatness-“
Hudson: “What? Title on the
line? Going to just angle for a title shot. Have you really grown up enough to
handle the pressure?”
Owen: “Not that Huddie, but if
you’ve got it, I’ll happily take it. No…I think I have a better idea. One of us
leaves happy at Rise to Greatness…because how about you and I face off in a
submission match!”
The crowd erupts. Josh smirks as
Owen looks right at the entrance.
I know it's hard to move on
I know it's hard to let go
But you're only one step away
From getting out of the Eye of the Storm
Eye of the Storm
We then cut to shots of Josh
Hudson locking the Severin Mission on Owen Lee as Owen struggles, before
cutting to shots of the aftermath of Adam
Allocco’s match against Josh Hudson on Breakdown. Hudson then steps forward to
go after Selena, but Owen Lee slides into the ring. Hudson turns to him and Owen keeps sliding toward Hudson before hooking his
leg and taking him down. Owen rolls through and locks in the Lee-Lock. The
crowd erupts in cheers. Selena turns and watches Owen. Allocco uses this
opportunity to pull himself out of the ring to the floor. He then starts to
walk away. Hudson yells in pain as Owen cranks on the ankle.
Sharper: “Owen Lee from the back!
Stopping Hudson from attacking Selena Frost. And the Lee Lock is locked in!”
Knots: “He’s going to damage his
ankle!”
Sharper: “Hudson choked out Owen
a few weeks ago. Lee now trying to make Hudson tap tonight with the Lee Lock.
Owen and Josh meet in a submission match for the US Title at Rise to Greatness
XIX!”
Lyman: “Will Josh Hudson tap?”
Hudson yells in pain, pulling on
his hair as Owen keeps the hold on. He then bites his fingers as the camera
focuses on Hudson as he tries to just get through the pain. We cut to shots of
Josh Hudson going after Owen’s arm and trying to choke him out before cutting
to shots of Josh Hudson frustrated as Owen Lee calls him out and tells him to
come at him before showing Lee with Hudson in the Lee Lock. Hudson yells in
pain.
Hudson: “Oh…Owen…oh to be young
and dumb. I’ll make you tap, bitch!”
Owen: “Good luck trying!”
Don't let it bury you
The RTG XIX logo comes up on the
screen.
The
scene opens up back inside Allegiant Stadium in Las
Vegas, Nevada. The crowd cheers as more and more fans are now in their seats.
Winters:
“We are live in Las Vegas. Inching closer and closer to Rise to Greatness XIX.
Jessica Winters and Simon Lyman here to count us down.”
Lyman:
“Can’t wait. And we have a number of very personal matches
tonight. It’s going to be a big night.”
Winters:
“High stakes to say the least. And one group that is looking forward to making
tonight a big one. Last night was big for them, the Haus of Nirvana, the Holly
Adams Brand.”
Lyman:
“Don’t get me started. Don’t get Jonathan Knots started!”
Winters:
“They hold the TV Title, the number one contendership
to the Adrenaline Championship and GiGi Aries is
hoping to use Datura, or help Datura, we’ll see….win
the Adrenaline Championship.”
Lyman:
“He wants it part of the Brand. A way to show how they’re empowering their
clients. We’ll see what happens tonight. GiGi Aries
still has been treated Datura like she has plenty more to learn.”
Winters:
“And right now, with Autumn Valentine not one hundred percent, we can’t forget
about Alexis Quinne who will be looking to make a big
statement. Maybe to knock some sense into Datura.”
Lyman:
“Absolutely. But while we’re talking about that, personally, I’m wondering what
will happen when Cid Turner and Holly Adams clash.”
Winters:
“Holly Adams playing a pivotal role in Cid Turner’s rise. But also Cid Turner did the same back. Both built each other up.
They were all linked for the last year and a half and
it all fell apart. Cid Turner claiming Holly Adams is only focused on herself.
Not helping others. And on top of that, we found out about Cid Turner’s back injury and it’s gotten worse.”
Lyman:
“He suffers from spinal stenosis and Cid Turner getting some bad news. His time
is numbered. He even said it – if he’s going down, he wants to help Holly Adams
and everyone else one more time.”
Winters:
“And they clash tonight!”
The
Rise to Greatness XIX logo comes up on the screen.
The
scene opens up with a shot of Cid Turner holding the
SCW World Championship as Holly Adams and Asher Hayes raise his arms. Cid looks
around, stunned, before we cut, seemingly in fast forward, showing various
scenes of the A/C Blondetourage Unit, before showing
Cid and Holly talking backstage, and then showing Holly Adams in her Hollymobile, before cutting to show Cid and Holly attacking
Syren on the hood of a hot pink car, and then cutting
to show Cid Turner losing the World Championship, followed by Cookie Dreams
standing on the apron while holding the World Championship, before cutting to
show Cid Turner and Holly Adams standing over Asher Hayes, along with GiGi Aries and Samuel Davis at Holly-Wood of the South.
Finally, we see a shot of Cid Turner trying to convince Holly Adams to bring on
Datura as a client. As these scenes come on the screen, we start to hear the sound of a loud buzzing before it stops.
We open up with Holly Adams in the ring.
Holly: “Tonight, I have to do something that hurts me deeply. The Holly Adams
Brand, trademarked, has gone through some challenges as of late. The bullying
of Selena Frost, Beard being…a terrible human being, the terrible failure that
was a former client of mine whom we beat at my event
but I can’t remember their name…accusations that we are manipulating people to
get title shots – we were just offering our services with alternate payments.
We are not merely about making money! We aim to help! And that’s why
tonight…tonight, we re-evaluate the credentials of one our own. The first
success story of the Brand…Cidnay.”
We cut to the previous week to
show shots of Cid Turner at ringside with Datura, Holly distracted by her. We
then cut to see a shot of Penguin taking GiGi and Cid
down with a dive to the floor. We then see Cid and Holly arguing after the
match. We then cut back to the scene from Breakdown where Cid Turner now is in
the ring. Holly Adams looks at him.
Holly: “Cidnay…I
can feel the negativity from you already.”
Cid: “Holly, look, we can talk about
this backstage. But…wait? Where is Datura? And what about Samuel and Where’s
the Beef-“
Holly: “Where’s the Beef? You
need to inflect at the end.”
Cid: “Where are they? She had a
match. She won a title from your sworn enemies! Should you not be debriefing
and-“
As we see this, we see a shot of
Where’s the Beef? now known as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,
celebrating as Television Champion.
Holly: “This is what I mean. And
while we are trying our tried and tested methods on two candidates with a
wealth of potential, only because GiGi sees something
in Starb-….Datura are we
taking a chance. But you then toss Cookie Dreams aside when she was starting to
become a good mascot. Positive all the time! And now you come out here and immediately
judge. Cidnay…you sound like the homeless man who
came out here two years ago. Lost in the world. Unsure of everyone including
himself. Full of hate. And we worked on you for a long time. We’ve been through
a lot.”
Cid: “Asher…”
Holly: “Who?”
Cid: “Asher Hayes, Holly. He hit
on you daily. He helped me get going and it was the three of us for a while
until we let him down. And now he’s gone. And-“
We cut to shots of Asher Hayes
with Cid Turner and Holly Adams throughout the previous two years.
Holly: “I don’t know what your
problem is Cidnay, but this is part of the issue. You
clearly have some serious problems. And then last week, giving titles back to
others, giving out title shots. People have to earn or
pay for our services to get better, especially those that can. And we’re just
not sure. You’ve been blinded for so long. And-“
Cid: “Because we’re not helping
anyone! We’re just taking people’s money! And we’re just changing names…and
playing with hair…and letting people down when we don’t like it and-“
Shots of GiGi
Aries advertising his products, along with the other infomercials follow.
Holly: “Cidnay.
We don’t have time for slander and lies. But I understand you’re angry. It’s
clear. You’ve had a lot of pressure for a while. And this goes back to when you
lost the World Championship to Selena Frost. You let down so many and you’ve
just crumbled and-“
Cid: “Holly…I’m done.”
Holly: “…I get it. It’s
humiliating to lose to Selena. You don’t even have the ability to accept that people
screwed you over to get-“
Cid: “Holly! I’m done!”
Holly: “…and the-Excuse me?”
Cid: “I’m done Holly. The
Positive State. I can’t. Datura deserves better. Cookie deserved better. I
helped ruin Jordan Majors. WE ruined Asher and…I’m done Holly.”
Holly Adams looks stunned before
we cut to the following week.
Holly: “Can we have a moment of
silence, please?”
Holly looks around. The crowd
boos.
Holly: “A moment of silence for
the last shred of relevance of Cidnay Turner!”
Holly looks around as the crowd
gives a mixed reaction. Holly scoffs.
Holly: “You turned your back on
the Brand because you don’t like my methods. You had no problem riding them to
the top, while claiming you had some alien inside of you. Just because you
wanted to one-up Kesha and the Scientologists…whom I TOTALLY HAVE NOTHING
TERRIBLE TO SAY ABOUT. CIDNAY probably thinks you’re terrible. Harass him!”
We cut to show Autumn Valentine
winning the SCW Adrenaline Championship against Cid Turner.
Holly: “But you had no problem
riding it to the top. Well, I have results. You…you’re not even the Adrenaline
Championship anymore. And you lost to Autumn Valentine. Someone who REALLY
could use our help…for many, many payments of $29.95. Accounting is still
figuring it out.”
Holly Adams is shown shaking her
head.
Holly: “The point here is that Cidnay…you’ve gone the way of Asher Hayes. And I knew I
should have pulled you back when you failed so spectacularly against Selena. I
had hoped the Adrenaline Championship would help you rebound but alas…here we
are. And if you listened last week, other options may be on the table. The PIP!
But now…I won’t make another mistake. Waiting for you to stab me in the back
physically. Jumping me from the crowd. You thought leaving the Brand was good
for you just like Asher. You may think attacking me is.”
We hear the start of “Dark
Child.” Cid is shown on the stage.
Holly: “At Rise to Greatness, I
will beat you Cidnay!”
The crowd boos before “Dark
Child” by Marlon Williams plays. The crowd cheers as Holly turns to the
entrance way. A few moments pass before Cid Turner walks out from the back,
holding a microphone in his hand. Cid Turner steps forward, stopping at the top
of the ramp.
Cid: “Everything is about money.
Everything is about how YOU look. From Asher, to Sammy
Thomas Davies…to Clamidiya…to now Datura…I can’t be a
part of it. Datura deserves better. Asher deserved better. Cookie Dreams damn sure deserved better. Even Jordan…I helped break her.
She’s not here. She deserved better. You know who doesn’t….you!”
Cid shrugs.
Cid: “And me…”
Holly: “Damn right you don’t!
You’ve thrown it all away with your hurtful things.”
Cid: “You want a match at Rise
to Greatness, Holly. To stop me from just attacking you from behind. I don’t
have any plans to do it. I may not be the awkward person who came back. I may
not be the sudden World Champion after years away. I may not be the comeback
kid anymore. I may not be Adrenaline Champion now….and I don’t know if my neck
can hold up much longer. Found that out a few weeks ago…”
Cid pauses. Holly mockingly rubs
her cheeks, feigning to cry.
Cid: “You know what Holly…I’m
trying to right some wrongs and one is enabling you and the Brand for so long.
Try to take me out at Rise to Greatness. You now know my plan!”
Cid turns and backs up as his
music plays. Cid turns and heads to the back. Holly immediately starts to
respond.
Holly: “No! Turn off that music!
Turn it off!”
Holly looks around as the crowd
boos. Cid continues to head to the back.
Holly: “You all heard it…so when
he comes out and attacks me later, trying to destroy my perfect plan to get a
World Championship shot for the Brand, you know that that’s why he couldn’t
stand being around us. He’s allergic to success without our help! Maybe not
even a PIP will help him!”
Holly smiles.
Holly: “But if you need our
help, you know to call and one of our many operators will help you reach your
best self….trademarked.”
Holly brings the microphone down
as the crowd boos loudly. “XXPENSIVE” plays throughout the arena.
Sharper: “She needed the last
word. She needed to take the final shot.”
Lyman: “And we know exactly what
she’s thinking, but now Cid Turner and Holly Adams…a couple of weeks ago thick
as thieves. Something has changed for Cid.”
We then cut to later that night.
We see Holly Adams in the ring, facing Adam Allocco. Adam rolls back and to his
stomach. Holly then gets up and waits for him to get up when suddenly “Dark
Child” by Marlon Williams. Holly’s eyes widen and she turns, motioning to her
film team to get into position, almost to act as a buffer. Holly hops down and
points, moving them around.
Knots: “See! He is coming! He is
going to Asher Hayes her!”
Sharper: “Seems odd to have the
music play. We’ve seen this used for distractions and…maybe not for Cid! Adam!”
Adam then rolls Holly up,
folding her up in a school boy and using his weight.
1!
2!
3!
Holly kicks out after three as
Adam smirks and rolls out of the ring. The bell sounds.
Phillips: “Here is your winner,
via pinfall, Adam Allocco!”
Sharper: “Shades of his match
against Deanna Frost. Maybe a bit of extra salt on the wounds. But Adam Allocco
just rolled up Holly Adams and ended her hopes!”
Lyman: “And Holly won’t be
pleased! But Adam again, he won. And he doesn’t care how!”
Cid’s music changes to Adam’s.
Knots: “And Adam is loving this.
Cid Turner helped Adam Allocco beat Holly! What a petty, petty man!”
Adam Allocco backs up, wading
through the Housewives film crew as Holly Adams gets up, clearly upset and
angry. We then cut to show Holly Adams in the ring, shaking her head. Shots of
her helping Cid Turner are shown.
Holly: “You’ve regressed so far
and with so many new clients, clients who will stay the path…I don’t think I
can offer you help. The Positive State is in shambles thanks to you. So at Rise to Greatness, Cidnay…I’ll
have to just end it for good.”
We then cut to show Cid Turner
helping Holly Adams in some of her matches, interfering and otherwise.
Cid: “Holly…I really wish you
could hear yourself. How you have to sell yourself on
everything you’ve just said. This…this has all gone far enough. Pumping
yourself up while trying to help others. Why not just let them enjoy it and
smile and be proud? I wanted to do that. With Cookie…that wasn’t going to
happen under the Brand. With Datura…she’s now even more confused. And it’s my
fault.”
Shots of Cid Turner talking to
Cookie backstage and Cookie laughing, before cutting to show Cid Turner and
Datura talking backstage in a candid moment.
Cid: “You don’t need to say
anything about ending it Holly. It’s going to end for
me at Rise to Greatness. But maybe I just need to help someone….you!”
A shot of Holly Adams holding
Cid Turner’s arm after winning the World Title at Retribution 2021 follows
before the RTG XIX logo comes up on the screen.
We open up with another wide shot of the stadium. We also see
Adam Sharper making his way down the rampway to the ring.
Winters:
“We are almost to the start of the show. Simon, you don’t have much time left.”
Lyman:
“Yeah, I gotta take my front row seat.”
Winters:
“Plenty more to expect tonight. Along with what we’ve talked about, we’ll see a
thirty minute ironperson match between Syren and Gavin Taylor-“
Lyman:
“Sorry to interrupt, but that match…that’s my match of the night. Syren is ready to go. Gavin, if he steps up, we could be
talking about that match for a long time no matter who wins.”
Winters:
“And of course, we’ll also see the gimmick battle royal. A four
person double jeopardy match to crown a number one contender to the SCW
United States Championship and so much more.”
Lyman:
“Big night! Big night indeed and none bigger than the SCW World Championship,
and I think this is my cue to exit!”
“Hero”
by Skillet plays over the stadium. The crowd cheers as Simon Lyman gets up and
walks off the desk area and onto the stage. He waves at the fans as he looks
around.
Winters:
“Thank you to Simon for joining us. And folks, if you’re wondering, for both of
our main event competitors, Selena Frost and Adam Allocco, they’ve been busy.”
We open up to see a shot of Deanna Frost and Selena Frost in
their tour bus. Selena can be seen hugging Deanna as they celebrate her title
win. The Underground and World Championship titles are next to them. Deanna turns
to them as Selena does too. She kisses Deanna.
Winters:
“For the Frosts, this is a big weekend for them. Both main eventing.
Both, for now, holding gold and hoping to be a golden couple continuing. Fighting
for what they feel is the right way to be a champion. To be a role model for so
many. On the other hand….”
We
then cut to show Adam Allocco talking to Hiro Tanaka. They enter a room, the
camera following briefly before we see a man in the room, wearing a doctor’s coat,
hand Adam a cup. Adam turns to Hiro and nods before turning back. Hiro turns
and notices the camera, pushing it out of the room.
Winters:
“Adam Allocco has to deal with the ramifications of
his recent past. He’s succeeded through rehab. But as a condition, he gets
tested regularly for alcohol. This footage from earlier tonight. From what we know,
Adam Allocco has passed all up to this point. While he’s getting tested, we
know when SCW finds out, they tell Adam. And one wrong move and all of this is
gone. And both want to walk out tonight, the World Champion. Adam wants to end this
phase of her return winning the World Championship. Both want to make history.
Selena wants to continue her history-making reign. The longest World Title in
SCW History. For Adam, he wants to join his son as a champion, making them the
first father-son duo to both hold the World Title, both winning at Rise to Greatness,
and nonetheless, both would have beat Selena for their first title reigns too. Let’s
take a look at how we got here and we’ll then see you
at Rise to Greatness XIX!”
Winters
smiles as we cut back to her. The camera pans out to show the arena as the RTG
XIX comes up on the screen.
We open up at Taking Hold of the Flame where Selena Frost is
slowly getting up as GiGi Aries stands on the top
rope. He watches
Selena and jumps off with the Holly Adams Brand Trademarked Spiritual
Awakening. Selena steps away and GiGi hits the mat
and rolls through. He turns and Selena lunges, going for the Glass Shard, but
Aries blocks it. He spins her around and goes for the Wonderland of Salvation.
Some in the crowd roar.
Sharper: “Wonderland of
Salvation! The scouting on both sides, but Aries!”
Lyman: “He’s not got it fully
locked in!”
Sharper: “Selena Frost fighting.
He knows he pulls back and gets the leg scissors, it’s over!”
Aries tries to hook his arms,
but Selena struggles and leans forward, using her weight to cause Aries to go
with her and Selena falls into the corner, causing Aries to go face first into
the top turnbuckle. He lets go and steps back as Frost lunges and hits the
Glass Shard! The crowd roars. Selena then drops down onto Aries, hooking his
leg.
1!
2!
3!
The bell sounds. The crowd
erupts in cheers, although a notable chorus of boos come from the crowd too.
Frost rolls off of Aries, falling to the mat,
breathing heavily.
Phillips: “Here is your winner,
via pinfall, and still SCW World Champion, Selena Frost!”
Sharper: “An amazing contest.
Both giving it their all.”
Lyman: “GiGi
Aries coming out and he wanted that title. And he nearly had it. Selena had one
play. She got it. And the Glass Shard, second attempt, fully connected.”
Selena slowly gets up and Demitra hands her the World Championship. Selena looks back
at Giovanni Aries and falls to the ropes. She holds up the SCW World
Championship and then brings it down to look at it again. She throws it over
her shoulder as the crowd cheers her.
Sharper: “Selena Frost is at the
top of her game. She has just gotten stronger and stronger as the year has gone
on.”
We then
cut forward to the closing moments of the Taking Hold of the Flame battle
royal. Syren and Adam Allocco are the final two. Allocco blocks it and lifts her
up and Syren spins through, landing on her feet. He
goes for a kick to the leg and goes for the Back from Rehab, but Syren shoves him off. She runs after him immediately and
catches him with a clothesline, knocking Allocco up and over the top rope. The
crowd roars as Allocco ends up on the apron.
Sharper: “Syren!
Clothesline! Allocco in trouble!”
Knots: “One wrong move!”
Syren then grabs Allocco and nails
him with repeatedly blows. She grits her teeth, fighting through the pain and
exhaustion before rearing back and going for another shot, but Allocco blocks
it and pulls her over the top rope. She holds onto the ropes for dear life.
Allocco pulls, trying to just shove her down while he hooks the ropes. Syren fights and elbows him in the jaw and then again
before stepping forward, but Allocco stomps her in the knee and grabs her head,
hitting the Back from Rehab on the apron. Syren falls
off the apron to the floor. Allocco falls back to the apron as the bell sounds
and the crowd cheers.
Sharper: “Allocco! Adam Allocco!
In stunning fashion. Outlasting Syren who seemed to
be willing herself to a legendary performance of her own was trumped by
Wrestling’s Enlightenment!”
Knots: “One shot. One wrong
move. That was it.”
Lyman: “Allocco got that kick to
the leg and then hit the Back to Rehab. Syren could
not stop it. And Adam Allocco now joins his son…the only father and son pairing
to both win the SCW Taking Hold of the Flame!”
Allocco rolls into the ring. He
winces, slowly getting up, the adrenaline having worn off.
Phillips: “Here is your winner
of the 2022 Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal…Adam Allocco!”
The crowd cheers as pyro shoots
off from the stage and sparks go off above the ring. Allocco drops to his
knees, exhausted. Syren leans against the barricade,
holding her jaw and just looking dejected as she drops down, exhausted herself.
Allocco remains in the ring on his knees, just looking around.
Sharper: “Adam Allocco will face
Selena Frost, World Title on the line, Rise to Greatness XIX. And what a
journey this will be!”
We open up
to show Selena Frost in the middle of the ring the following Breakdown.
Selena: “I have done the one
thing I wanted to do. To keep this away from the Brand, and to rebuild the
integrity of the title. By coming out to this ring and making it a true test of
who is the best! Period!”
The crowd cheers again as Selena
looks around.
Selena: “And that brings me to
who will stand across the ring from me at Rise to Greatness XIX… Adam Allocco.”
The crowd roars.
Selena: “Six months ago, if you
had told me this would be my match, I wouldn’t believe it. You were a mess.
Maybe that’s even too kind. You were frankly someone who should not have been
in this ring. When you were barely holding it together, you were being
manipulated by the exact people that should never be near this title, like Matt
Hodges.”
Selena pauses as the crowd boos,
hearing his name.
Selena: “And frankly, you were
already someone like that. From using your son’s injury to motivate yourself,
to parading your escapades around here like you were some hot shot, when you were falling apart at the seams.”
Selena pauses again.
Selena: “So why am I dwell on
this while you’ve seemingly turned a page, in part needing to do so. Passing
drug tests, making sure you’re clean, but also having gotten a new contract…”
Selena looks around as she then
leans on the ropes.
Selena: “Because Adam…you’re
fighting for this…”
Selena holds up the SCW World
Championship. We then cut to later in the evening.
Allocco: “Well isn’t this a hell
of a ride?”
Adam Allocco stands in the ring.
The crowd cheers.
Allocco: “Back in February of
this year, I hit rock bottom. I was manipulated by Matt Hodges. I was a
rambling drunk. And frankly, I deserved to be fired. SCW gave me every chance
to clean up.”
Allocco pauses.
Allocco: “You know what, I think
I want this to be said to your face, Selena. I know you’re watching this. I’m
sure you’re hanging on every word. So let’s just get
this done the way it should be. Come on out here. I want to say this to your
face.”
We cut to see Selena Frost
walking to the ring. We then see her standing across from Adam Allocco.
Sharper: “And the World Champion
obliges!”
Allocco: “You called it all
noise, Selena. Everything I stood for. From fighting for my son a few years
back, to coming out here with Bison and a pornstar.
Talking about my Onlyfans and trust me, you can still
get some GREAT content there. Never mind the fact that I was out of control.
Yeah, noise is a good word for it. And yeah, I was responsible for a lot of it.
And I even held SCW gold while doing so. Imagine what I’m capable now that I’m
thinking clearly.”
Allocco looks at Selena as the
crowd cheers some, some boo.
Allocco: “But you said I’m on
the right path…and you’re right. But it’s also my only path. And that path
brings me to this moment. And I said I’m not done. That’s for two reasons. One
because the struggle to keep myself clean is going to be a daily struggle. I
can’t be weak once. And two…because I’m not going to rest until I hold a title I’ve always thought I should have held and haven’t,
and that’s that one on your shoulder, Selena.”
Allocco points at it as the
crowd cheers. The camera focuses on the title.
Allocco: “And while I may have
come up above the noise, don’t get it twisted. I still don’t like you. I might
respect what you do in this ring, but you are a self-righteous, overhyped bitch!”
The crowd ohs as Selena smirks.
We then cut forward to see Deanna Frost facing Adam Allocco. We notice that
Adam Allocco is fighting Deanna with a limited movelist.
We see him largely limiting to a few simple suplexes
and knee drops before covering Deanna. The footage is speed up as Adam steps
forward and looks at Selena Frost at ringside.
Allocco: “Learn a lot? Huh? Got
all my moves? My strategies down?”
We cut to show Selena Frost in
the ring.
Selena: “I’ve been out here
talking about integrity for months now. The integrity of this championship – it
represents the best. Period. Not who can take short-cuts to get there, but who
can compete at the top of their skills and win, consistently. It is a symbol of
excellence and one I try to live up to every day. First by giving the respect
to my opponent across from me by fighting them at my best…and then also giving
all of you, all of the fans of SCW, a match they paid
to see. You paid to see the best wrestlers in the world. And Adam Allocco
slapped you all in the face by coming out here with his four moves of doom.”
We cut to show Selena Frost
giving it her all in the ring, hitting a variety of moves against the likes of
Owen Lee, Kandis, Holly Adams, GiGi Aries, and Samuel
Davis.
The rough guitar chords of
'Wired' by JJ Wilder strike the sound system and echo in the video page. Adam
Allocco stands across from Selena.
Allocco: “What? That you’re pissed off because I worked smarter, not harder? In fact, I
probably worked harder. Unless you’re going to come out here and say that
Deanna shouldn’t have been in the ring with me? To take on our Television
Champion, in front of the world, and use only a fraction of my movelist to beat her. To know how to deploy it to its
greatest effectiveness.”
We cut to shots of Adam Allocco
in the past with Greaternity, as the Golden Boys, and
then since his returning, showcasing similar efforts. This is juxtaposed by
Selena Frost’s heart on display in the ring, fighting through the pain, hitting
counters out of nowhere and hitting awe-inspiring moves while showing the crowd
cheering.
Allocco: “But while you bitch about integrity, where have I not had it? Two weeks
ago, I came out and called it as it is. I’m an asshole.
I will ALWAYS be an asshole. I’m also a promoter. SCW
can promote my rise from the dead. Great. But I’m a professional wrestler and
one that still has much left to do. All of this is what I said. And I’m coming
for that title. The World Championship. Your championship.”
Shots of Alistaire
Allocco holding the World Title follow.
Allocco: “And yeah, it
represents the best in the sport. But you know what else it represents?
History. I can hold the title after my son did. Winning it too at Rise to
Greatness. It’s also $100 000 a month. What? Don’t like that I make it that
straight-forward. It’s $100 000 a month. Money I can use to rebuild my life
after pissing half of it away through addiction. Just
like I’m sure you’re using the money to care for your kids.”
We cut to show shots of Selena
and Deanna with their kids backstage.
Selena: “Damn right I am. The
difference…the priorities. To me…it’s not just about winning or losing. It’s
about representing something for them.”
Selena points to the fans.
Selena: “And it doesn’t have to
be mutually exclusive.”
Allocco: “Who gives
a damn Selena? What? Fine…I’ll make this simple.”
Allocco turns to the crowd.
Allocco: “Screw you all! You
like me. Great. Want to see me succeed? Great! Want me to die in a fire? Fine!
And here’s the best part, Selena…while you talk about giving the fans a show, I
damn sure am. They don’t like the fact that I’m who I
am, that just because I hit rock bottom, I won’t now act like I’ve seen God and
turn over a new leaf? They can now spend their hard earned
money to watch Rise to Greatness hoping you’ll kick my ass!”
Selena: “You know…I’m not the
biggest sport fan, but I’ve heard people complain about when championship teams
sit players late in the season. Well, that’s you. Not trying to lose, but well,
yeah, you win. Great. You were supposed to, right. But I’m the champions that
play every game to win. And at Rise to Greatness…well…BELIEVE IT!”
We then cut to shots of Adam
Allocco attacking Ace Marshall, before showing him fighting in the Taking Hold
of the Flame battle royal, locking up with Syren,
Owen Lee, Josh Hudson and Holly Adams. Shots of him
fighting Holly Adams, Deanna Frost and Josh Hudson come on the screen next
before showing shots of Selena Frost battling Holly Adams, Cid Turner, GiGi Aries, Owen Lee, and Samuel Davis. We see shots of
Selena holding the SCW World Championship repeatedly after each of her major
title defenses.
Adam: “Not
even six months removed from rock bottom and I have a
chance to hold a title I never have. At forty-five years old. Yeah, I’m no
spring chicken. I was told that if I keep drinking, it’s over, not just my
career, but everything. There’s a little bit of urgency, Selena. Hence why I
call it like it is. I’m an asshole and I’m always
going to be one, but I told you flat out…I am not done my recovery, my return,
yet. That will happen when I win the World Title….however
I have to.”
Selena:
“And it’s a nice story.”
We cut to show Selena and Adam
seated backstage, Adam Sharper between them.
Selena:
“Adam…call me whatever you want. I’m driven. And I know what I feel the World
Champion should represent. The best in that ring and the best here.”
Selena
points to her heart.
Selena:
“And no one has stopped me yet. And at Rise to Greatness, you’re going to have
to find the end to your recovery somewhere else. It won’t be by winning the
World Title. At Rise to Greatness, it’s going to be on your back, looking at
the lights, and realizing you’re just not good enough.”
We cut
to show Selena Frost celebrating at Rise to Greatness XVIII over Ace Marshall.
Adam:
“Believe that…all you want, Selena. I am coming to Rise to Greatness to win the
World Title…People can decide if they want to look up to me. I’m a recovering
alcoholic. Heroic, huh? That’s up to them. To me…I want one thing…”
Adam
then stands up and Selena does too. Sharper looks at both. Adam smirks and
points at Selena’s World Championship.
Adam:
“That. And I’m going to take it Selena. I need it, Selena. I need it more than
you’ll ever understand.”
Selena:
“If you believe it, you don’t know a damn thing about me.”
We then cut to a shot of both
celebrating their respective wins at Taking Hold of the Flame as the scene
fades to black…
