The FBI warning screen comes up on the screen for a few moments as the anticipation builds.

The SCW symbol again returns to the screen.

“The following is a presentation of Supreme Championship Wrestling, the leader in sports and entertainment in the world today.”

The scene then fades to black.

The scene opens up in an empty arena, the lights around the crowd dimmed with the spotlight focusing on the ring.

“In one night, one question becomes answered....”

The sounds of an orchestra introducing the music with some suspenseful tune is heard before the shot of someone slowly walking down to the ring, from behind, showing on the backs of their legs and feet is seen.

“Who will go to Rise to Greatness?”

With the sound of repetitive piano and drum strikes, we see shots of various SCW wrestlers shown over the visual of the competitor walking to the ring. Jason Zero flashes on the screen, followed by Greg Cherry, Katie Steward, Shilo Valiant, Masquerade, Dark Triad, Lucas Knight, Chad Evans and then Xander Valentine before showing the individual running up the steel steps. They stop as they look into the ring from behind the ringpost.

“Who will have the opportunity to walk into the grand stage as challenger....making all of their dreams come true....making greatness come alive....”

The scene then cuts to show shots of Matt Hodges celebrating in the ring, followed by a sadistic pose of Damian Angel from the end of his battle royal win, followed by a shot of The Real Speed falling back into the middle of the ring. We then see Adam Riddick posing against the ropes as he celebrates his Taking Hold of the Flame victory in 2006, followed by a shot of CHBK pointing to the Rise to Greatness banner over the ring in 2004 and finally showing James Exeter celebrating in the corner, having finally won the battle royal.

At this point, the first competitor enters the ring, the camera still only showing their feet.

The scene then cuts to black before flashing back to the curtain and the camera again show another individual making their way down to the ring from behind, showing again only the back of their legs and their feet.

“And who will enter as the reigning and defending champion?”

A shot of Josh Hudson smirking in the ring is shown, before turning into a shot of Thorn hitting the Griever’s Bane on him, followed by a shot of Justin Davis standing in the ring over Josh Hudson, before we see a shot of Jake Starr as World Champion from earlier in the year. The scenes then fade out, showing again the second competitor hoping onto the apron and looking into the ring to a silhouetted figure.

“Who will have the opportunity to go to the biggest event ever....to face the ultimate test?”

The scene then turns to the middle of the ring as the second figure enters the ring. With shadows hiding the faces of the two figures. They circle the ring. We then see an SCW official standing in the middle of the ring before throwing his arms in the air, holding the SCW World Championship over his head. The camera focuses on the SCW Championship.

“Who will take hold of the flame?!”

The scene then violently pulls back to show a distance shot of the sold out crowd in the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri from last year’s Rise to Greatness as spotlights circle around. The scene then slowly fades to black...

“Oildale (Leave Me Alone” by Korn starts to play as a shot of a sword being held up in the air before it spins around and drops down into the crowd is shown. A hand grabs the sword and lifts it out of the ground and holds it up in the air as lightning shoots out from all around from it.

“THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!”

The sword explodes before the embers form into the logo for Taking Hold of the Flame.

“And now, Supreme Championship Wrestling presents....Taking Hold of the Flame!”

The scene fades into the inside shot of the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The crowd starts to cheer loudly as fire shoots out from both sides of the entrance way before pyro starts to shoot out from in front of it. The pyro display continues for a few moments before fire again shoots out from all over the set. Spotlights start to circle the arena as the cameras start to pan the crowd, showing as many fans as possible, waving banners, jumping up and down and just making noise. The cheers continue before the familiar voices from ringside are heard.

Sharper: “Welcome everyone to what will be the final wrestling show here in the historical Mellon Arena. Welcome to Taking Hold of the Flame!”

The shot changes to ringside to show Adam Sharper, Jim Dawson and Jonathan Knots at ringside.

Sharper: “Hello again, I’m Adam Sharper alongside Jim Dawson and Jonathan Knots and the road to Rise to Greatness begins tonight. By the end of tonight, we’ll know who’s going to have the opportunities of a lifetime on the big stage at Cowboy Stadium in Dallas.”

Dawson: “That we will. Tonight, four titles on the line and none bigger than the SCW World Championship. Josh Hudson will defend against Jake Starr, Thorn and Justin Davis in that ring. Hudson wants Starr, but he’s getting all of them and they’ll be not too happy to say the least.”

Knots: “Yeah, but then there’s the big question. Who will have a World Championship opportunity at Rise to Greatness. Thirty people will enter that ring and only one will remain. That person will go to Rise to Greatness with their title shot. The names are huge. The lineup is huge.”

Sharper: “The most star-studded battle royal in SCW history and arguably could be one of the most competitive. We are going to know who will headline Rise to Greatness by the time tonight is over. But before then, we’re going to kick things off with the SCW Tag Team Championship on the line.”

The cameras start to show the ladders set up at ringside and the two that are upright in the entrance way, before suddenly “Love Me or Hate Me, It Doesn’t Make a Difference” echoes throughout the arena. The crowd roars and then boos as “Lies” starts to play throughout the arena. We then see Josh Hudson, the SCW Champion, walk out from the back with a microphone in his hand. The boos continue as he starts to make his way down the ring.

Sharper: “What in the world? We’re supposed to be kicking off with the Tag Team titles on the line.”

Knots: “Well you tell him to go to the back.”

Sharper: “No thank you.”

Dawson: “He’s got a microphone so who knows?”

Hudson walks past the ladders before running to the ring and sliding in. He then pulls himself up before turning around and leaning on the ropes and smirking. The crowd just boos as his music fades out.

Hudson: “Alright, Jake. Time for you to actually have to say something this time. Because on Breakdown, you never gave me an answer. And see, I’m even going to sweeten the deal a bit here. I’m willing to face you right now. Then you can go back and relax and heal up before I do it again!”

Sharper: “You’re kidding me! He’s still trying to get Starr to face him one on one tonight!”

Knots: “What can I tell you? He’s a focused man!”

Hudson just looks around as the crowd boos. Hudson just shakes his head before smirking.

Hudson: “Come on Jake. I’ll wait all night. Give your fans what they want!”

Hudson just leans on the ropes, looking down at the entrance way before we see several officials and security guards starting to walk out from the back. The crowd boos a bit, before then turning into cheers as Sasha Drachewych and CHBK walk out from the back. Sasha Drachewych just shakes her head as CHBK just stands next to her. Sasha has a microphone in her hand. The officials and security however continue to the ring as Hudson just rolls his eyes.

Sasha: “Josh! I don’t want any of this tonight. Jake Starr has been clear about facing you and I’m going to honour that. I’m not going to let you bully him into a match that’s clearly designed for your favour!”

Hudson just smirks. Hudson just throws his arm in the air.

Hudson: “Fine. Let him keep hiding. Let him now hide behind you!”

Hudson drops the microphone as the officials walk up the steps but Hudson just shakes his head before stepping through the ropes. Security tells him to come down as Sasha just shakes her head. Just then Jake Starr walks out from the back and starts to walk over to Sasha and CHBK. The crowd roars as Hudson just smirks before then stepping back into the ring. He then backs up. CHBK can be seen turning to him and Jake just shakes his head before turning to Sasha, the microphone just barely picking up what he says.

Starr: “Fine...I’ll shut the bastard up since he’s got a hard-on for me.”

Sasha: “No....no, you’re not. After tonight, you two can do whatever you want. Tonight, the match will stay as stands.”

The crowd starts to roar and CHBK turns and tries to restrain Starr. Starr turns and manages to get past him only to start to make his way to the ring.

Sasha: “Stop him!”

The crowd boos as security turns and immediately position themselves in the entrance way between the ring and Starr. Hudson just smirks as he starts to motion to him for him to get to the ring. Starr tries to get past, but security stops him. Starr then starts to pace back and forth before trying to sneak past them, but the security guards and a few officials stop him. He just smirks as Hudson continues to smile.

Sharper: “Good lord. We’ve just come on the air and this is already pandemonium.”

Knots: “Let them go.”

Dawson: “Sasha standing firm, but I think Hudson finally got to Starr.”

Sharper: “Well I doubt he likes to be called a coward!”

Dawson: “Well as we try and regain order out here, let’s just go backstage. This is nuts.”

Starr continues to pace back and forth as security continues to stand in his way. Hudson just laughs as he stands in the ring, continuing to dare Starr to come at him before we go backstage.

We fade to the back where we find the SCW Women’s Champion Syren looking in to a mirror and carefully brushing her hair. Her makeup is all done, she’s already dressed to compete and she’s looking ready to go. Just in front of her we see the SCW Women’s Championship belt, which proudly rests on the table and she occasionally looks down at it and smiles happily before continuing with her hair. After a few moments we hear a door opening and slamming shut and the camera pans to Ravyn Taylor who’s got an angry scowl on her face. Syren turns to her with a concerned look.

Syren: “What’s wrong?”

Ravyn Taylor: “Nothing... actually you know, probably everything. I’ve just been watching the monitors, looking at those two pathetic little clowns and their friend the Smurf and the on-going joke that are Liberation and I wonder what it is that the management in this company see in these four individuals who between them have the intellectual strength of a tribe of Neanderthals. Honestly I half expect them to grunt and throw stones at each other.”

Syren laughs and nods her head in agreement.

Syren: “Yah totally, they suck.”

Ravyn Taylor: “And yet here we are, six weeks removed from the biggest show of the year and it is they who get the spotlight, it is they who get the attention and it is they who get the opportunities, and what are we left with? Alex Desoubrais and his little games have left us sitting in a locker room waiting to compete against twenty eight other people where he knows damn well that statistically we have suck a small chance of winning this match that he can spend the next four months tormenting us.”

Syren nods her head again, rubbing her head after having the hell beaten out of her by Gigi Steward on Breakdown. There are no obvious marks there, or if there are they’re masked with makeup, but it’s obvious the mental impact it’s had on the young champion.

Syren: “I know you’re all like way angry at him and stuff but maybe it’s a better idea if we like keep quiet or something, because I don’t want him to put me in matches when I’m not ready again, ok? That was so not fun on Breakdown.”

Ravyn Taylor: “I know sweetie, I know, but you’re here tonight and you’re going to be just fine. Before this night is over we WILL get an apology from Alex Desoubrais for involving you in something that you had nothing to do with and if not? Well then come Breakdown there will be hell to pay because I’m done playing his games. He wanted me to prove myself and I’ve done that ten times over, tonight whether I win the battle royal or not if you don’t get a personal apology then before next Wednesday night I’m going to the board of directors, I’m going to shareholders, I’m going to EVERYBODY involved in this company and I’m going to prove to every one of them that Desoubrais is not fit to hold the position of commissioner. Sasha Drachewych is captaining a sinking ship...”

Syren: “Yah, her father must be turning over in his grave.”

Ravyn looks at her in disbelief.

Ravyn Taylor: “He’s not dead...”

Syren: “Oh, he isn’t? Then where is he?”

Ravyn Taylor: “Probably at home licking his wounds. Who’d have ever thought the old man was the brains behind this company? If he was here right now and not a victim of his own little games then I can only believe things would be different...”

Syren nods her head again, picking up her title and clutching it tightly. Ravyn looks at her and smiles almost sweetly, for a change, and walks over to her, running her fingers through the blondes hair and smiling at her.

Ravyn Taylor: “You won that title when this company was under his leadership, you remember that? And it’s Sasha who’s been forcing you to defend it against her best friends...”

Syren: “Yah, I guess.”

Ravyn Taylor: “Don’t worry about it though, I’m going to make sure that your title reign lasts even longer than it already has. I’m going to ensure the two hundred twenty four days you’ve been champion seem tame in comparison to how long you’ll remain champion. And I’m going to make sure nothing else happens to you.”

She leans down and kisses Syren, who goes from looking upset to being far happier.

Syren: “Thank you, and if you want I can—”

Ravyn Taylor: “No, you can’t. This isn’t your fight Zoe, it’s mine and I don’t need anybody fighting my battles for me. What happened to you was Lucas’s fault but the events that transpired were all on Desoubrais.”

The brunette scowls bitterly as she once again mentions the name of the commissioner before walking off once again and leaving Syren to finish getting ready.

The scene changes again and in the backstage area we find a frustrated looking Lucas Knight pacing back and forth, looking at his watch repeatedly as though he’s waiting for something to happen. After a few moments we see Marisa Condolesa walking over to him with a purpose, a microphone in her hand. She walks over to him but he doesn’t even seem to notice she’s there before she begins to speak.

Marisa Condolesa: “I’m backstage with the number one contender to the Underground Championship, Lucas Knight. Lucas, tonight you’re facing Fred Debonair for the third time, your second shot at the Underground Championship around his waist, but yet the story breaking this week isn’t about you and your championship match at all, but rather what’s happening off the cameras in your personal life. There are rumours flying around that just days before you’re both due to compete in the Taking Hold of the Flame Battle Royal tonight you and your wife have split, would you care to spread any light on those rumours?”

Knight looks down at her and shakes his head before looking back in the direction he’s been staring the whole time thus far.

Marisa Condolesa: “Ok, let me get you started. We heard from your wife earlier this week and when it came to talking about you all she could do was wish you luck and claim you’d separated, but she didn’t give a reason as to why. When you spoke you seemed angry, perhaps even drunk, but once again you didn’t tell us why. The people want to know Mr Knight, what happened between the two of you?”

Knight glares at her angrily before leaning in to the microphone. The look on her face says she think she’s about to get an answer, but Knight just shakes his head.

Lucas Knight: “No comment.”

Marisa Condolesa: “No comment? C’mon Lucas, enquiring minds want to know!”

Lucas Knight: “Do I look like I give a damn WHAT people want to know? This isn’t a gossip magazine, ok? This is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING, and I came here tonight to get TWO jobs done. The first is to beat the hell out of that second rate joke of a champion Fred Debonair and take the title that SHOULD have been mine at the Two for One Special. When I’m done beating the hell out of him there I’m going to go to the battle royal, I’m going to toss his ass out of the ring AGAIN along with the twenty eight others and I’m going to go to Rise to Greatness as the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.”

Marisa Condolesa: “But what about—?”

Lucas Knight: “Listen toots, I know you’re doing your job but seriously, I’m not in the mood to be giving interv—“

He doesn’t get to finish the sentence because out of the corner of his eye he finally sees the person he’s been waiting for and rushes away from Marisa Condolesa and down the corridor where we see Christy Matthews-Knight walking in to a locker room carrying a bag. The camera rushes down the corridor to keep up with Knight, who gets to the doorway she’s just walked through half a second too late and the door slams in his face.

Lucas Knight: “Christy! C’mon babe, please talk to me. You won’t answer your cell phone, none of your friends will talk to me, what the hell am I supposed to do? I know you’re angry at me, I get that, but we can work this out. It’s like I told you, I’m going to fix it I swear!”

She doesn’t even bother to open the door to reply, just talking through the door to him.

Christy Matthews: “I’ve heard it all before Lucas...”

Lucas Knight: “It’s different this time, I swear. This won’t be like last year.”

Christy Matthews: “Oh c’mon Lucas, it’s EXACTLY like last year. Not only are you in trouble all over again but you’re at war with the management all over again. Aires fired you last year but you found a way to come back, what if CHBK fires you this year? What if Sasha fires you? I can’t deal with all of this, I thought I could but I can’t.”

Lucas Knight: “But it’s not like that... I know I’m not exactly flying the flag for good behaviour but goddamn it you KNOW I deserve better than this company is giving me, you even said so yourself. And all the other stuff didn’t used to matter to you, what changed? What made you change your mind?”

There’s a long pause and Lucas grows a little uneasy.

Lucas Knight: “Babe?”

Christy Matthews: “I’m sorry Lucas, I really am. We’ll talk later, ok?”

Lucas Knight: “Ok. I love you, you remember that. This whole thing is just... well there’s no point without you being here.”

Christy Matthews: “Yeah I know. I love you as well.”

Knight lets out a sigh and walks off, and after he’s gone we see the door open and Christy Matthews look down the corridor after him. She looks to the right as Marisa Condolesa walks over and rolls her eyes, shutting the door again as we fade out.

We return to ringside and see the ladders returned to their position in the middle of the entrance way as well as positioned around the ring. The camera then turns and focuses on the SCW Tag Team Championship belts which hang over the ring. The crowd roars as the camera focuses on them.

Dawson: “Dark Triad definitely incensed and Lucas Knight and Christy Matthews having some issues.”

Knots: “They’re personal. Nuff said. Move on!”

Sharper: “Despite that, maybe we’ll now be able to get under way here with this Tag Team Championship match.”

Knots: “We do say anything can happen and Josh Hudson wanted to try and prove that!”

Karnivale vs. Liberation

SCW Tag Team Championship

Ladder Match

As Nox Arcana’s ‘Ghosts of the Midway’ begins to play the titantron shows several different types of masks flying around until two crash into one another and shatter, its remains spell out ‘Masquerade’. The lights go deep blue when Those words shatter and reunite to form the name ‘Shilo Valiant’. The big screen then goes to several shots of Shilo wrestling and doing some fancy handwork with his syringes filled with Necro, and to shots of Masquerade wrestling and trying on masks. All this while, several strange looking mirrors have risen all over the stage, the ramp and around the ring. Some are propped up by thick supports and others lie flat on the ground.

‘Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the circus of the strange, the sideshow of the sinister, and the theater of the bizarre. Enter a realm of dark wonders to indulge in your wickedest dreams, or if you dare, explore the shadows of the most diabolical nightmares. Cast your eyes on the cruel oddities of nature and behold the monstrous creatures from the depths of the abyss. Marvel with awe and dismay at unbelievable death defying acts that teeter on the very prink of doom. Leave the mundane world behind, for those who visit this festival of phantasm are never the same again. Step this way… There is no turning back.’

‘Calliope’ takes over as Marina and Claire Voyant walk down the ramp to the ring. Claire holds one of Masquerade’s infamous masks while Marina twirls one of the gun syringes used by Shilo Valiant. They both enter the ring and Claire leans forward on the ropes while Marina stands in the center of the ring and points the gun in the air, shooting off what turns out to be a bright flare, bringing bright red to the blue lit arena. As if on cue, two things happen at once. The lights go back to normal and from two of these randomly placed mirrors crashes through Karnivale, Shilo Valiant and Masquerade. They both run to the ring from wherever they are and slide into it, their women standing with them. As they rise, the other mirrors fall and they await their opponents.

Sharper: “The former World Tag Team Champions continuing with their uniqueness to say the least. Going into this match, they’ve been playing some more mind games.”

Dawson: “A busy night for them, along with their opponents. Both will battle in this set up before going into the battle royal later tonight, and Karnivale is hoping those mind games do enough to give them the edge so they can retain the World Tag Team Titles.”

The introduction to ‘Wake Up’ hits the speakers and the crowd goes into cheers at the sound of Liberation’s music. The crowd seemingly taken by the hope of SCW being liberated has really garnered momentum for these two young superstars. After the intro cuts into the main drive of the song, pyro explodes all around the entrance ramp as smoke begins to fill the top of the ramp. After a few seconds, we see Brayden Walker and Aaron Rupp slowly make their way onto the entrance ramp looking confident and ready for a fight.

They begin to slowly make their way down the entrance ramp, looking focused and determined. They see that the fans have really begun to swing in their favor with wins and a sense that they really could pull this off. Walker slides underneath the bottom rope as Rupp heads up the steps. Walker and Rupp meet up and then they take to partnering turnbuckles and taunt the crowd showing gestures of liberation will be coming soon. They hop down and begin to talk strategy as they get ready for their fight.

Knots: “Yeah, but smoke and mirrors is one thing.”

Sharper: “They all respect each other. We know that. We know that there is a lot on the line in a number of ways here. But we also know that they’re going to leave it all in that ring.”

The bell sounds and the four men walk up to each other in the middle of the ring. All four start to look up at the two belts that hang over the ring. They continue to look up before suddenly Shilo lowers his head and nails Brayden, who is standing in front of Masquerade with a hard right. He then turns and grabs Aaron Rupp, but Rupp pushes him away and kicks him in the ribs. Masquerade runs after Brayden and kicks him in the ribs before spinning him around and throwing him out of the ring. Masquerade then hops over and follows him. Rupp kicks Shilo in the ribs again and chops him. He then turns and throws him over into the top turnbuckle. Rupp then drops down and rolls to the floor as Masquerade grabs Brayden and throws him face first into the barricade. Rupp meanwhile walks over to one of the set up ladders in the entrance way.

Dawson: “And Aaron Rupp is looking to get the first ladder in play.”

Sharper: “I don’t know if I like the strategy. Shilo is still in the ring and Masquerade is on control on the other side. Aaron Rupp is taking a chance early.”

Knots: “It’s a ladder match. You’re taking a chance by just being in the ring during one!”

Rupp folds one of the ladders and starts to drag it back to the ring, but Shilo then runs into the opposite ropes before bouncing off them. Rupp gets closer to the ring and Shilo jumps up and over the top rope with a flip dive right into Rupp, causing both to land on the concrete as the ladder lands next to them. The crowd cheers as Shilo rolls over, wincing in pain. Masquerade meanwhile nails Brayden Walker into the crowd with a clothesline before going over and grabbing one of the ladders at ringside.

Dawson: “Shilo Valiant went airborne and both him and Rupp may be done already!”

Knots: “Yeah and this match may be done soon too. Brayden Walker’s getting felt up by the fifty two year old fan in the front row while Masquerade gives his demonstration at Home Depot!”

Masquerade hoists the ladder into the ring and slides it in. He then rolls into the ring and gets up. He grabs the ladder and unfolds it before placing it right underneath the belts. He then walks over to the one side and starts to climb up it. The crowd roars and Walker rolls back into ringside before starting to get up. He rolls back into the ring and Masquerade gets up near the top, grabbing the belts, but Walker grabs him by the leg and then pulls back, causing Masquerade to drop down. He turns and attempts a hard right, but Walker blocks it and nails him with a hard right. He then kicks him in the ribs and takes him over with a vertical suplex. He then rolls over and gets up as Shilo enters the ring. He then runs over and nails Walker from behind with a clothesline.

Sharper: “A short advantage may be happening here. Shilo and Masquerade are both in the ring with Brayden Walker. Rupp still slowly getting up on the floor.”

Dawson: “That ladder he had may have caught him.”

Knots: “Yeah, but Karnivale right now has a ladder in play and a target. This could be fun.”

Rupp slowly pulls himself up on the floor, still brandishing his ladder. Shilo grabs Walker and lifts him up and then snapmares him over as Masquerade gets up. Both nod and then both hit a dropkick to the head of the seated Brayden Walker. Walker rolls over, in pain. Masquerade points and Shilo and Masquerade then walk over towards the ropes nearest Rupp and dare him to get into the ring. Rupp lifts up the ladder, still standing a bit away from the ropes. Walker meanwhile starts to stir and Rupp then places the ladder on the apron and quickly slides it in as hard as he can. Both Shilo and Masquerade jump over it and Rupp hops onto the apron, just as Walker gets up and pushes the ladder over in the ring, causing it to fall and crash into the back of Shilo and Masquerade’s heads. Both fall over and Rupp then suddenly climbs to the middle rope and grabs the top of the ladder as it leans on the ropes. Walker then moves underneath the ladder and starts to lift it up, with Rupp shifting his weight to be on the rungs as the crowd roars and rises to their feet.

Sharper: “Oh my God!”

Dawson: “Now that’s teamwork!”

Knots: “He was pushed back up!”

Sharper: “I’ve never seen anything like that. The strength of Walker and the timing of Rupp to make that work and Rupp is just inches away from the titles with both members of Karnivale down!”

Rupp waits for the ladder to stop wobbling and Walker then turns and grabs Shilo and kicks him in the ribs before turning and throwing him into the corner. Masquerade gets back up and Walker grabs him as Rupp gets to the second last rung and starts to reach. Walker goes to spin Masquerade away, but Masquerade spins around and throws Walker into the ladder and the ladder wobbles. Rupp quickly drops down to grab the top of the ladder. Masquerade and Walker then turn and throw each other through the ropes and to the floor. Shilo then suddenly runs out of the corner and pushes over the ladder and Rupp drops down landing throat first on the top rope before falling back. The crowd ohs and Shilo then falls down.

Dawson: “Rupp landed hard on the top rope and he may be having some trouble breathing.”

Sharper: “And Rupp is in a bad way. There are now two ladders in the ring and Shilo’s next to both of them.”

Shilo pulls himself back up as Masquerade and Walker get up on the floor. Masquerade drags Walker over towards the steel steps, but Walker suddenly sweeps the legs out from under Masquerade and Masquerade goes face first into the steel. The crowd ohs. Shilo grabs the ladder he pushed over and pulls it back upright. He then walks over to the rungs and starts to climb up the ladder slowly. Walker slowly slides in and grabs the ladder Rupp had slid in and Shilo gets up a bit higher before Walker lifts the ladder and Shilo turns just in time to see Walker throw the ladder up and nail Shilo in the back. Shilo winces and falls over before falling to the ropes. Rupp stirs as Shilo slowly starts to pull himself up and Walker pushes over the upright ladder. He then walks over and grabs Shilo and lifts him up before  kicking him in the ribs. He then places his head between his legs before spinning around and going for a powerbomb, but Shilo counters and hurricanranas him down onto the ladder Walker threw. The crowd ohs as Walker winces and rolls over. Rupp meanwhile gets up and drop toe holds Shilo down into the leg of the unfolded ladder as he turns around.

Knots: “God! People’s backs and heads are going to be messed after this.”

Sharper: “Drop toe hold into the ladder after Shilo Valiant hurricanrana’s his partner into the other ladder!”

Shilo holds his face in pain and Rupp gets up and grabs Shilo. He then slowly lifts him up before turning and throwing him into the corner. Rupp walks over as Walker stirs. Both grab the unfolded ladder and pull it over so the opened end is nearest the corner. The crowd then starts to roar as Walker walks over and grabs the other ladder and he and Rupp then place it on the braces of the ladder, turning it down so the end sits near the feet of Shilo. The crowd continues to roar as Rupp and Walker continue to move around and smirk, as they’ve created a slingshot of sorts.

Dawson: “What in the world are they doing?”

Knots: “Nothing good. That I can say for sure!”

Sharper: “This would get rid of Shilo Valiant. That’s for sure.”

Knots: “Hard to believe these guys respect each other too!”

Just then Masquerade enters the ring and Walker and Rupp turn and grab him. They both kick him in the ribs before hooking him up in a vertical suplex and hoist him up just as Shilo suddenly runs up the ladders and jumps up before pushing Masquerade back down before hitting a double DDT on both Rupp and Walker. The crowd cheers as Shilo rolls over and off the ladder. Walker rolls over to the apron as Rupp starts to pull himself up and Masquerade turns and smiles as Shilo gets up. He then turns and lifts Rupp up from underneath in an electric chair. Masquerade walks over to the ropes and exits to the apron. He then starts to climb up to the top rope. Rupp, however, suddenly manages to shift his weight and pushes himself off of Shilo’s shoulders and just falls into the ladder. The falls is bad, but it fires the ladder up into Shilo’s face. The crowd ohs as Shilo falls back and Masquerade then lands hard crotch first on the top turnbuckle. The crowd then starts to cheer and roar as everyone is down.

Sharper: “My God!”

Dawson: “Everyone is down and there is a tangling of ladders in the middle of the ring to blame for it.”

Knots: “No one may be able to climb the ladder to get the belts at this rate!”

Walker slowly starts to lift himself up on the apron. He leans against the ropes and falls back into the ring. Masquerade slowly lifts himself up and Walker walks over and grabs the two ladders in the middle of the ring and pushes him away and over to one side of the ring. Rupp rolls off them, holding his back in pain. Masquerade manages to get up and Walker then walks over and nails him with a hard right. Masquerade winces and Walker then grabs him and press slams him off the top rope. Walker falls to his knees and winces before then slowly getting back up. He then gets up as Masquerade starts to get up. Walker turns and clotheslines him down. Rupp pulls himself up slowly as he winces and Walker motions to him. Walker then grabs the two ladders from earlier and manages to slide one out of the ring as one of the officials actually starts to fold up the other and pull it out of the ring. Rupp meanwhile reaches underneath the ring and looks around. Shilo stirs and blood can be seen coming down his face from his forehead from having the ladder knocked into him.

Dawson: “Oh...wow...Shilo is busted right open.”

Knots: “That’s why they have those pictures on the ladders. They’re not meant for this!”

Dawson: “One has to think what that may do to his gameplan later, but right now, Karnivale is not looking so hot as Rupp is getting something from under the ring.”

Shilo stumbles forward as Rupp pulls out a larger ladder. The crowd erupts in cheers and Rupp then pushes it against the ring. He then turns and pulls it down before sliding it under the bottom rope. Walker runs over and nails Shilo with a running forearm, knocking him back down. Masquerade stirs as well and Rupp enters the ring and grabs the ladder. He then lifts it up before opening it up in the middle of the ring. He positions it a bit as Rupp then runs over and kicks Masquerade in the side. He motions to Walker and Walker starts to climb up to the top rope. He manages to make his way up slowly as Rupp nudges Masquerade towards the ropes. Shilo meanwhile gets up and Rupp then sees him before running across the ring and Shilo lowers his head and manages to back drop him to the floor. Walker continues to move up and Shilo then runs over and jumps up before clubbing Walker in the back. Walker winces and Shilo then clubs him again. He then walks around before going up the other side of the ladder.

Dawson: “Shilo stopping the ascension of Brayden Walker and now he’s going up the other side.”

Knots: “This may be bad for both. Who knows what they’ll do with what they’ve so far put each other through.”

Shilo continues to climb up as Masquerade and Rupp stir. Shilo then nails Walker with a hard right. Walker suddenly nails Shilo with a hard right. Shilo wavers and then fires back with one. Walker nails him back. Shilo then nails him again before managing to hit a quick chop. Walker pulls himself up and reaches forward, but Shilo turns, grabbing him by the head. The crowd roars and Shilo then manages to twist off, not quite hitting a backflip, but still driving Walker down to the mat with a Shiranui from the top of the ladder, taking a lot out of both men!

Sharper: “Boulevard from the top of the ladder! Oh my God!”

“Holy Sh*t!” chants begin to be heard from all over the arena. After a few moments, a split screen comes up and we see the move from angle of the belts, taking Walker down to the mat, before seeing a slow-motion shot from the ground. The crowd continues to cheer as Masquerade starts to pull himself up.

Knots: “Good lord. It’s just them and gravity!”

Dawson: “And some of you at home may be going, oh yeah, they know how to fall. How do you learn to fall from the top of a ladder?! There’s no net! It’s just imagination and gravity as you said Jonathan!”

Masquerade stumbles over to the ladder which remains upright as Rupp pulls himself up onto the apron. Masquerade starts to pull himself up the rungs of the ladder, step by step, rung by rung before getting about half way. He pauses as he then pulls himself up a bit more and Rupp then climbs up to the top rope. He manages to steady himself as Masquerade inches closer before jumping up and nailing him with a jumping thrust kick to the side of Masquerade’s head, knocking him off the ladder. The crowd ohs as Rupp falls to the mat and the ladder, however, turns and falls down on top of Rupp. The crowd ohs again and all four men remain down.

Dawson: “Rupp Dat off the top rope just saved the match and the titles for Liberation!”

Knots: “Yeah, but the ladder came back and bit Rupp in the ass by falling on him.”

Sharper: “All four men now down. This match is still anyone’s. Both teams have just put each other through hell. They know they’re going to keep getting up until it’s over.”

Rupp slowly stirs and slides out from under the ladder and crawls over to the ropes. He slowly lifts himself up. Shilo starts to stir, blood dripping from his face. He then manages to get up and Rupp quickly kicks him in the ribs and drops him with a DDT. Rupp then rolls over and grabs the downed ladder. He grabs it and slowly starts to pull it up. The crowd starts to buzz as Rupp places it on the mat and then holds it to steady it. He then grabs the ladder rungs and starts to pull himself up to his feet. He then starts to climb up the ladder slowly. He gets up another rung and then another as the crowd starts to rise, getting excited about the possibility of Rupp getting the win. He manages to get part way up the ladder and Shilo slowly stirs as well. Masquerade starts to pull himself up and Shilo grabs Rupp by the leg. Rupp shakes his leg out before kicking Shilo in the head. He falls back. Rupp manages to get up another rung, but Masquerade then turns and runs into the ropes on the other side of the ladder before jumping up and clotheslining Rupp off the ladder. The crowd ohs and Masquerade rolls over.

Dawson: “Rupp stopped dead there.”

Knots: “Yeah and with a hell of a clothesline. May have just knocked the wind out of Aaron Rupp.”

Sharper: “Nevermind the rough landing.”

Masquerade then turns and checks on Shilo. Shilo motions to him to go and Masquerade then starts to climb up the ladder slowly. Rupp stirs and Shilo then turns and nails Rupp with a hard right and then another before pulling himself up. Shilo then stands underneath Masquerade and starts to help him up. Walker stirs and pulls himself up. Shilo starts to climb up the rungs as well as Masquerade gets closer and closer. Walker then runs over and kicks Shilo in the ribs. He then turns and throws him out of the ring. Shilo drops to the floor as Rupp starts to stir. He gets up and Walker then helps him up as Masquerade tries to pick up his pace. Rupp and Walker then walk over and grabs the two legs. The crowd starts to roar as Masquerade looks down and Rupp and Walker lifts the ladder right off the ground. Masquerade looks down, and starts to plead with Rupp and Walker only for Walker and Rupp to tilt the ladder and Masquerade falls off and over the top rope right down on top of Shilo. The crowd explodes with cheers and some boos as another “Holy Sh*t!” chant begins.

Dawson: “Masquerade was just dropped from the top of the ladder to the floor.”

Knots: “Yeah. Shilo caught him, but not in the good way. Liberation has this. Just set up the ladder and go.”

Sharper: “And this has been interesting, both teams have had one person going up, while another plays defense and it’s not working well so far for either side.”

Dawson: “I’m still in shock that Rupp and Walker lifted the ladder right off the mat!”

Rupp and Walker collapse after placing the ladder down, on the top rope. Walker slowly pulls himself up and Rupp gets up and pushes the ladder back up. Rupp then turns and starts to climb up the side as Walker turns and helps him up. Rupp continues to climb up as Masquerade rolls over. Shilo stirs and pulls himself up onto the apron. Walker turns and walks over as Rupp pauses. Walker grabs Shilo, but Shilo nails him with a quick jab. Walker stumbles back towards the ladder. Shilo crawls into the ring and manages to use his strength to run forward and Walker lifts him up for a backdrop, but Shilo manages to turn and grab Rupp and pulls him down with a powerbomb! The crowd ohs as Rupp rolls over in pain. Shilo slowly starts to lift himself up and Walker quickly nails him with a hard right. He then chops him in the chest and Shilo falls back to the corner.

Sharper: “I’ve never seen anything like that before.”

Dawson: “Out of the back drop, he managed to pull Rupp down!”

Knots: “Jesus! These guys will do anything.”

Walker turns and goes to whip Shilo into the ladder then, but Shilo manages to jump up and starts to climb up the ladder. Walker sees this before quickly taking his arm to the leg of Shilo, causing Shilo’s leg to slip through the rungs. Shilo is turned upside down and Walker then turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off them before hitting a dropkick to the face of Shilo. The crowd ohs and Shilo just hangs upside down. Brayden Walker rolls over and then turns and Masquerade starts to stir. He gets up and gets to the ring and Walker sticks his boot through the ropes and kicks Masquerade in the head. Walker then turns around and starts to climb up the ladder. He slowly makes his way up as the crowd starts to rise again.

Dawson: “Walker going up. He’s going to try.”

Knots: “It’s looking good for him too. Everyone is down and Shilo is caught in the ladder!”

Shilo tries to struggle, but Masquerade slowly pulls himself in. Walker turns and sees Masquerade. Masquerade pulls himself up and Walker dives forward, but Masquerade manages to hit a quick spinning heel kick. He then rolls over and quickly lunges for the ladder. Shilo just looks at it and cheers him on a bit as Marina and Claire do the same from ringside. Masquerade slowly pulls himself up and starts to climb up the ladder. Shilo tries to lift himself out, but to no avail as Masquerade keeps climbing up. Rupp however gets up and stomps Shilo in the face. Shilo drops down and Rupp then hops onto the ladder and climbs over Shilo before starting to climb up the other side. Rupp starts to get to the top and Masquerade reaches up and touches the belts only for Rupp to nail him in the ribs. Masquerade winces and Rupp nails him again. He then climbs up a bit more before grabbing Masquerade, but Masquerade manages to hit him with a European uppercut. Rupp nearly loses his balance before Masquerade nails him again. He then turns Rupp around on the ladder. The crowd starts to roar. Walker starts to pull himself up behind Masquerade but Masquerade then manages to lift Rupp in a variation of the Skeleton Key before throwing him back and Rupp backflips back and lands on his partner, knocking both down. The crowd rises to their feet in awe before starting to cheer.

Sharper: “Oh my God! A Skeleton Key off the top of the ladder!”

Knots: “He’s dead. He’s dead!”

Dawson: “And Masquerade is at the top of the ladder, all by himself. Walker and Rupp are down!”

Masquerade looks behind him to see both Liberation members down. Marina and Claire yell at Masquerade to keep going and Masquerade reaches up and grabs the belts. He then unhooks one belt before unhooking the second and falling down to the mat. The crowd cheers as Claire and Marina celebrate on the floor. Shilo manages to get himself free and falls to the mat. The crowd cheers as one of the officials enters the ring. Masquerade starts to pull himself up as Shilo does as well. Masquerade hands him one of the belts and the referee holds their arms up in the air.

Dawson: “Karnivale gets the titles back in the ladder match!”

Sharper: “What a way to end it. They just kept coming and Masquerade finally had the answer for Liberation here tonight.”

Dawson: “And from here, all four go into the battle royal later tonight.”

Sharper: “But until then, Karnivale is going to enjoy this win.”

Shilo and Masquerade start to get up and Claire and Marina rush in to help their allies as Walker and Rupp roll to the floor. The other official checks on them before we cut backstage.

Backstage the scene opens up to show Dillusion standing next to Jessica Winters. The crowd cheers a bit upon seeing him. Jessica looks a bit nervous as she then turns to the camera.

Jessica: “I’m here with Dillusion and later tonight, Dillusion, you’ll be entering the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal as one of the thirty entrants. Any thoughts about being a part of this field?”

Dillusion: “What field?”

Jessica: “The field of thirty.”

Dillusion: “Um...Jessica. We’re in an arena. There are no fields here.”

Jessica just rolls her eyes.

Jessica: “It’s an expression.”

Dillusion: “What is?”

Jessica: “Cut it out!”

Dillusion: “Wait...cut....it out? You’ve been possessed by Dave Coulier! You must die!”

Jessica: “Wait...what?”

Jessica backs away as Dillusion turns and goes to grab her, but just then, we see a boot drill Dillusion in the side of the head. Dillusion falls back and we then see Drew Weilacher walk into camera view as Jessica screams, moving out of the way. Drew then grabs Dillusion and lifts him up before hoisting him up and throwing him back first into the interview backdrop. Dillusion falls down to the ground hard and Drew then stomps him in the chest. He then grabs Dillusion and looks at him.

Weilacher: “You want to attack me. You want to mess with me. I can go shot for shot any day of the week!”

Weilacher then stomps Dillusion again in the head and security finally appears, starting to push Drew away from Dillusion. Weilacher just smiles sadistically as Dillusion stirs a bit and Jessica Winters looks around, completely shaken.

The scene cuts to another part of the backstage area, right outside of Christian Savior’s locker room door in fact, to see Marisa Condolesa standing next to the United States Champion. The crowd boos loudly upon seeing him and Savior just smirks, enjoying the reaction.

Condolesa: “Christian. In just a few moments, we’re going to see you defend the United States Championship against Gable Winchester. Now, when Winchester made the challenge, you shyed away from giving it to him. What are your thoughts about being put in this match?”

Savior just shakes his head.

Savior: “Well, first off, I didn’t shy away from him. I laughed him off. It’s different. I know you used to hang around Rick Rohl a lot back in the day. Maybe his stupidity has rubbed off on you. I don’t know. But I laughed him off because while I admire the kid’s guts, he really needs to learn to pick his battles.”

Savior then points to his US Championship.

Savior: “See what this is? This is what I fought hard for for months. It’s what I earned...and what I took from Shilo Valiant. What did Gable Winchester do to earn his shot? He beat Lucas Knight....he beat David Miller a few months ago. And he’s just asking for a shot for my title, just like that. Under what grounds?”

Condolesa: “Well he was upset you weren’t defending it. CHBK tended to agree.”

Savior: “Well CHBK is becoming senial. I wasn’t defending it because quite simply, I have no competition. I’ve gone through anyone and everyone. It’s that’s simple. And I was ready to move on. The SCW Championship yet again. The true Infection. And Gable has to come to muck it up. Well, Gable, I gave you a little preview of what will happen to you a few weeks ago. I’m sure you remember it. Well...if not....I’ll remind you in just a few moments.”

Savior turns and walks off as the crowd boos. Marisa Condolesa turns back to the camera.

Condolesa: “Savior seems confident and ready. Can he get past Gable Winchester and retain his title? We’ll find out. Back to ringside.”

Gable Winchester vs. Christian Savior

SCW United States Championship

The opening strains to “Everywhere I Go” start to echo around the arena as gold lighting starts to pulse around the arena, then begin to pulse to the beat of the introduction. Once the main verse starts, Gable Winchester walks from the back, nodding his head and moving his hands up and down in time to his theme song. The fans start to cheer, some ecstatically, whilst some out of respect for what he has done so far in his young career. Once he gets to the barricade he looks out at the fans and shows that he isn’t too egotistical for the fans. Smiling, he sidesteps down the ramp, close to the barricade, frantically slapping all the palms he comes into contact with before reaching the bottom of the ramp. He spins around on the spot with his palms facing upwards before sliding into the ring and nodding his head to thumping beat of his theme tune.

He runs and leaps to the top turnbuckle and sweeps his hand in the direction of the people in the crowds and gestures for them to cheer him on louder before he gets down from the turnbuckle and smiles to himself about the reception the crowds give him, brushing his wild dreadlocks from his face as he waits for his opponent to make an appearance.

Sharper: “Gable Winchester ready for his opportunity. He’s been a rising star to the say the least.”

Knots: “He’s without his gal pal though.”

Sharper: “Stacy is probably focusing on the battle royal as she is entered in that later tonight.”

Dawson: “No doubt and Gable likely wouldn’t want any distractions at ringside.”

“Coming Home” plays throughout the arena and the crowd starts to boo. Flames shoot out of the entrance way and we then see Christian Savior walk out from the back with the SCW United States Championship over his shoulder. The boos intensify and Savior continues on his way down to the ring. Savior makes his way down before walking over to the steel steps and looking up at the ring. He smirks as he pulls himself up and then walks along the apron and enters into the ring. He then walks over to the corner and throws his arm up in the air, the title hoisted high above him. He then drops down before looking at Gable Winchester and shaking his head. He then extends his title out to the referee.

Sharper: “The arrogant and conceited United States Champion making his first defense of the title.”

Knots: “Oh yeah. Just keep piling that on.”

Sharper: “He’s had the title for two months. This is the first time he’s put it on the line. Sorry I see a problem with that!”

Dawson: “Don’t forget not showing up last Breakdown, as Gable stated.”

Knots: “He wasn’t scheduled to compete! Come on!”

The referee holds the title over his head and Gable, seeing his first chance to see gold, asks if he can see it. Savior, surprisingly, just tells the referee to go for it. The referee turns and shows him the title and Gable smiles before Savior suddenly runs over and kicks the arms of the referee, causing the title to strike Gable in the face. Gable falls back, holding his face and Savior smirks before stomping him in the head. The referee turns and reprimands Savior and Savior just turns to him and yells at him.

Savior: “Ring the bell, jack!”

Savior then turns and stomps Gable again and the referee then walks over to the ropes and hands off the title as the bell sounds. The referee turns back as Savior grabs Gable and lifts him up before throwing him into the corner. He nails him with a back elbow and then another back elbow. Gable falls forward to his knees and Savior just grabs him and drags him over to the ropes. He then places his knee across the back of his head, pushing down, on his neck onto the rope. Gable struggles to breathe and Savior stays down before the referee counts for the break.

Savior steps off and walks around the ring as Gable rolls over, holding his throat in pain and struggle to catch his breath. He then slowly pulls himself up and Savior grabs him and nails him with a hard right and Gable rolls down to the mat and onto his back. Savior just smiles before stomping him in the face. Gable rolls over, holding his jaw in pain.

Dawson: “Savior is just methodically going after Gable.”

Knots: “This is why he doesn’t need to worry about those extras. No one, except Gable, is stupid enough to challenge him and Savior already makes his case right here.”

Sharper: “Well thanks to that advantage he gave himself, he’s in control. Had Gable not let the situation get the best of him, this could be a different match.”

Gable starts to pull himself up and Savior grabs him and lifts him up. He then turns and snapmares him down. Gable ends up on his back and Savior turns and drives his knee into the forehead of Gable. He then turns and goes for a lateral press.

Gable kicks out again. Savior just looks up and grabs Gable, dragging him up.

Sharper: “Well that’s not going to be enough to keep Gable down. Gotta hook the leg. Gotta do something extra.”

Knots: “Pfft….it’s Savior. He’s got this under control. Hell. He’s toying with him.”

Dawson: “This methodical style is not doing Gable any favours. Very few places to try and start any offense.”

Savior knees him in the ribs. He then turns and whips Gable into the ropes. Gable bounces off the ropes. He then jumps up and leapfrogs over Savior and then bounces off the other side. He then jumps up and nails Savior with a flying back elbow. He rolls over and Savior gets back up. Gable runs towards him and Savior takes him over with a deep arm drag before turning into a key lock. Gable winces as Savior just smirks.

Dawson: “Just like that. A small opening, but Savior quickly gets Gable back under control.”

Sharper: “A lot still left to go tonight. Underground Championship. SCW Championship. Of course, the thirty man Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal.”

Knots: “Yeah. And neither of these two are in it. Nothing to lose in this match….unless you’re Savior.”

Savior jerks back on the arm. Gable winces. Savior then turns him a bit, to make the hold more awkward and then pushes him down to his stomach. Gable however gets his knees under him and Savior straddles him, holding onto his arm. Savior taunts Gable a bit as the referee checks on him. Gable yells out no to tapping and Savior jerks back and pulls him up to a kneeling position. He then turns and nails Gable in the face with a hard right. He then drags him up before whipping him into the corner. Savior then turns and runs after him and nails him with a clothesline. Gable winces and Savior again drops him with a snapmare. Savior then walks in front of him before planting his feet and then attempts a spin kick to Gable’s head, but Gable ducks and rolls over. The crowd cheers and Savior turns and grabs Gable, but Gable nails him with an uppercut. Savior turns back and falls to the ropes. He kicks Gable in the ribs and Gable staggers back and Savior runs forward only for Gable to jump up and nail him with an enziguri kick to the head.

Sharper: “Kick to the back of the head and Savior’s ears have to be ringing.”

Knots: “Come on Savior. Get back up. Stop this. You’re giving him an opening.”

Sharper: “And a great one compared to whatever else has been on the table for him so far in this match.”

Savior starts to pull himself up and Gable pulls himself up before jumping up and hitting a double leg drop to the back of Savior. Savior rolls over and Gable then turns and mounts him before nailing him with shot after shot after shot. He then gets up and walks around the ring. Savior rolls over and starts to pull himself up and Gable quickly kicks him in the ribs before whipping him into the ropes. Savior bounces off the ropes. Gable hoists him up for a back drop, but Savior spins through and lands on his feet. He then pushes Gable forward into the ropes, but Gable grabs onto the ropes. Savior rolls back and Gable then turns and runs at him before jumping up and spinning through with a tornado DDT on the United States Champion. The crowd cheers and Gable gets up. He then turns and goes for the pin.

Gable exits to the apron and starts to climb up to the top rope. He looks over at Savior as Savior rolls over and manages to get back to his feet. Gable then quickly gets his feet under him before diving forward and hitting a flying clothesline. Gable rolls through. He then quickly goes for the pin.

Gable grabs him and lifts him up only for Savior to back away to the corner and Gable walks over only for Savior to poke him in the eye. Gable staggers back and Savior quickly grabs Gable and throws him back into the corner. Gable hits the back of his head on the middle turnbuckle.

Sharper: “Savior seizes another opportunity.”

Knots: “And the US Champion is not going to make this easy for Gable.”

Gable slowly lifts himself up and Savior grabs him and drags him out before lifting him up and seating him on the top rope. Savior nails him with a hard shot, jarring him. He then starts to climb up to the middle rope and grabs Gable. He nails him with another shot before then smirking and climbing up to the top rope. He grabs Gable and slowly lifts him up only for Gable to nail him with a hard shot and then another shot. Gable then pushes Savior back and Savior falls back but rolls through. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Great DDT. Right in the middle of the ring. That could be it!”

Knots: “Lucky shot! But he’s still go to roll over!”

Savior rolls over to his side and Gable turns and slowly pulls himself up. He then walks around the ring before grabbing Savior and lifting him back up. He then scoops him up before slamming him back down and then walks over to the corner. He glances back before taking a deep breath and climbing up to the top rope. He then glances back again and hits a moonsault from the top rope right onto the prone body of Christian Savior. He winces as he holds his ribs before going for the pin and hooking the leg.

He then turns around and Savior jumps up and grabs him and hits a cutter. Gable rolls over as the crowd boos. Savior just leans up and smiles.

Sharper: “Soul Survivor! Out of nowhere!”

Knots: “The smirk tells the story. He knows he has him!”

Savior rolls over and then non-chalantly walks over to Gable. He nudges him with his boot and smirks before stomping him in the face. Gable rolls over and slowly starts to pull himself up. Gable gets to his feet and Savior then grabs him from behind and hoists him up only for Gable to flip through. He then jumps up and wraps his legs around the armpits of Savior and rolls him back into a pin.

He then turns and walks over to the ropes. He exits to the apron before slowly pulling himself up to the top rope. He turns to Gable and smirks.

Dawson: “Gable again having a burst of offense, but Savior right there to cut him off!”

Sharper: “Savior’s experience is the key here. And he’s staying calm. Gable has hit some big moves, but Savior is just countering them at the most opportune moments!”

Knots: “And this is why he has no challengers!”

Sharper: “Ah….yeah….”

Savior gets to the top rope and looks down at Gable. He then dives off and attempts a guillotine leg drop, but Gable rolls out of the way. The crowd cheers and Savior rolls over, holding his backside in pain. Gable slowly gets up, holding his back a bit and daring Savior to get back up. Savior slowly gets up and turns to Gable only for Gable to lift him up onto his shoulders and drop him with a Death Valley Driver. The crowd erupts in cheers and Gable quickly turns and goes for the pin.

Savior shoots his shoulder up. The crowd ohs and Gable rolls off. He just looks at the ceiling before sitting up and looking at the referee. He then rolls over and looks over at Savior as Savior rolls over, holding his head in pain. He slowly starts to stir and Gable waits for him to get up. He then turns him around and kicks him in the ribs. He then pulls him between his legs and locks him up with a double underhook. He looks out and sets him up. He then jumps forward, but Savior back drops him over. Gable rolls over and Savior falls to his knees and turns to face Gable.

Sharper: “Gable had him set up for something. But Savior countered it again.”

Knots: “One step ahead. Always one step ahead!”

Dawson: “I have to agree. Gable Winchester keeps coming, but Savior’s always ready for him!”

Savior then gets up and Gable slowly pulls himself up. Savior then grabs him and quickly whips him into the ropes. Gable bounces off the ropes and Savior jumps up and nails him with a jumping straight kick to the jaw. Gable falls back and rolls over. Savior just watches Gable as Gable gets back to his feet and turns around as Savior runs at him. Gable however jumps over him and rolls through back to his feet. Savior stops and turns around and runs at Gable, but Gable kicks him in the ribs before suddenly hooking his leg and hoisting him up. Savior tries to kick out of it, but Gable dropss him down into the Running Wild into a pin.

The crowd cheers as Gable falls back with his arms out. He rolls over and winces as he crawls over to the ropes and slowly pulls himself up. The referee turns and goes over and is handed the US Championship and Gable turns back and the official hands it to him.

Knots: “I don’t believe it! The kid did it!”

Sharper: “What a night for Gable Winchester! He’s just won his first taste of gold!”

Knots: “Two title matches….two new champions!”

Dawson: “Oh boy. This is going to be interesting!”

Sharper: “And Gable Winchester now can defend the title as he sees fit. The spear wasn’t going to do it tonight. Savior wasn’t able to hit it and Gable manages to win the title!”

Gable holds the title over his head. We see Stacy Kissinger jogging down from the back with a huge smile on her face. Gable just walks over to the ropes and drops down to the floor before the two embrace at ringside. Gable jumps up and continues to hold the title up as Stacy celebrates a bit with him. The crowd continues to cheer as we then cut backstage.

Backstage we see CHBK standing next to Jessica Winters. The crowd cheers upon seeing him and Jessica smiles before turning to him.

Jessica: “Hello everyone. I am here with the SCW Commissioner and you seem to be a busy individual. I could ask you about the situation with Dark Triad or even Rachel Foxx, but I suppose given that what we saw earlier with Josh Hudson and Jake Starr, is there any thoughts about having a match between the two of them tonight?”

CHBK just smiles.

CHBK: “Jessica, as I’ve told both of them and as Sasha said earlier, Jake Starr has been clear on the matter. Granted, earlier tonight, he came out and I heard. He was ready to fight. But the fans want to see them both compete for the World Championship here tonight. So, Sasha and I have elected to sequester all of the championship match participant for the night. Hudson can’t go around attacking people. Jake Starr won’t need to worry about. Thorn won’t need worry about it. Justin Davis won’t need to worry about it. And quite simply, I’d love to see a Jake Starr/Josh Hudson match up. But if that happens, Josh Hudson can walk down to the ring on Breakdown...or Jake Starr can accept his challenge that same night. After we leave tonight, they can fight each other all they want one on one. But tonight, at Taking Hold of the Flame, they’re involved in the SCW World Championship. They want to battle. They can do it there.”

CHBK smiles as Jessica nods.

Jessica: “Make perfect sense and I think I speak for everyone when I say we can’t wait to see that fatal four way championship match. One quick thought...you put Jason Zero in the number one spot after his response to Sasha...any thoughts to Jason Zero?”

CHBK just smirks.

CHBK: “Good luck.”

CHBK smiles some more as Jessica Winters smiles back.

Jessica: “Thank you CHBK. CHBK...the Commissioner of SCW. Back to you guys at ringside.”

The scene then switches to a live shot of the view of Pittsburgh and then the exterior of the Mellon Arena. The crowd cheers upon seeing the shot of their home centre.

Dawson: “Mellon Arena. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A lot of history here and specifically in this building.”

Sharper: “That there is and there may be more here tonight. Still two more title matches and of course, the battle royal to go.”

Lucas Knight vs. Fred Debonair

SCW Underground Championship

Out go the lights with a flick of the switch, with it an air raid siren shortly follows along with gun fire and various explosions depicting a war. The screen above the stage illuminates with the images of various wars from over the years, each one burning away to reveal another and till the letters S C W flicker on the screen and Indestructible by Disturbed kicks in fully.

Jason Phillips: "Ladies and Gentleman, Introducing at this time hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada and representing his home nation the United Kingdom. He weighed in tonight at two-hundred and thirty pounds, "THE MONACHY, LUCAS KNIGHT!"

All eyes divert to the stage which is now glowing a crimson red where we see a hooded figure standing dead centre with his arms at his side, the lights come back on thanks to the Red and white Pyrotechnics’. Knight is wearing a sleeveless hooded trench coat with the Union Jack faded in areas. As he looks up to stare at the crowd out walks Nathan Slade with the solid steel cricket bat resting over his shoulder. The pair then begin to walk towards the ring paying the crowd no attention what so ever. Slade hangs outside performing his usual security roll as Lucas slides into the ring via the bottom rope and climbs up to the second turnbuckle extending his arm.  He then unbuttons the jacket and takes it off. Afterwards he throws it down to the outside and follows suit to the canvas before pacing back and forth awaiting his opponent, before turning to Nathan. The camera is close enough to pick up what he says.

Lucas: “Don’t get involved. Under no circumstances! This bastards is mine!”

Nathan just nods as Lucas backs up and waits.

Knots: “He’s a man scorn! He’s a man pissed off!”

Sharper: “We’ve already alluded to some issues in Lucas Knight’s personal life, but it seems that Christy Matthews has separated from him. She’s not out here now, and likely not going to be helping her husband.”

Dawson: “What changed since Breakdown?”

Sharper: “I don’t know. But the battle royal may have just gotten a bit more interesting. Lucas Knight is in the battle royal and he had inducted his entire entourage, including Christy Matthews into the match.”

Dawson: “That’s if they survive. Apparently, Lucas doesn’t want Slade getting involved. I’ll believe it when I see it.”

The lights in the arena begin to die down as red and blue spotlights resembling Police cars circle throughout the arena as sirens wail all around. Suddenly the key intro for "Empire State of Mind" begins to play as Fred Debonair steps out from behind the curtain, he holds his head up high and raises his arms nodding as the crowd roar with approval. The SCW Underground Championship sits over his shoulder.

He begins to walk down the aisle and stops halfway before throwing up his hands once more and sporadic pyro's blast through from left to right behind him, on the stage. He stalks toward the ring before sliding in, underneath the bottom rope and jumping up onto a turnbuckle once more, hands in the air as the music slowly dies down and the house lights come back up. Debonair then turns and hands the title to the referee who holds it over his head.

Dawson: “Debonair not wasting my time. I’m sure he wants to move past Lucas Knight. He wants to move on, for better or for worse.”

Knots: “But he’s hoping for the better!”

Sharper: “Lucas Knight has been a thorn in his side for nearly three months now and all Knight wants is gold.”

The referee then backs away and hands it off to the announcer. The referee then backs away and calls for the bell to start the match and the bell sounds as the crowd roars. Debonair then moves in and Lucas Knight just smirks before calling Debonair on. Debonair just tilts his head before running forward and nailing Lucas with a hard right. Lucas staggers back and Debonair nails him with another hard right. Lucas spins around and into the corner before Debonair kicks him in the ribs and then again and again, knocking Lucas down to a seated position. The crowd cheers as Debonair then stomps away at him for a few more shots before walking away and back to the middle of the ring. He then walks around before running towards Lucas, but Lucas pulls himself out and drills Debonair with a hard clothesline. Debonair drops down and rolls over to the floor.

Knots: “Caught him coming in!”

Dawson: “Hard clothesline nearly decapitates Debonair in the opening moments, but Debonair, showing a veteran-like instinct and rolling to the outside.”

Debonair gets to his feet and walks around and Lucas steps through the ropes and drops to the floor before walking over and clubbing Debonair in the back. Debonair falls over and Lucas grabs him and hoists him back up before turning him over and driving him face first into the ringpost. Debonair spins off and falls down to his knees. Lucas then turns and looks underneath the ring and pulls out a steel chair. He then hoists it up before walking over to Debonair. Debonair stirs and Lucas drills him hard on the back. Debonair falls down to the mats and the crowd ohs. Lucas then drops the chair before grabbing Debonair and slowly lifting him up.

Sharper: “Chair shot to the spine and Debonair just collapsed underneath the impact.”

Dawson: “Lucas Knight is his mood may not be one to deal with, but Debonair has to figure something out and soon. Chair shots like that isn’t going to help him retain.”

Debonair is brought back to his feet and Lucas grabs him and spins him around into the barricade in the entrance way. Debonair bounces off and stumbles over to the middle of the entrance way. Lucas then walks over and kicks him in the ribs. He then places his head between his legs. Knight looks a bit incensed, but Debonair back drops him over. Lucas hits the concrete hard and rolls over. He then starts to crawl away before getting back up and Debonair turns and walks over to him and cuffs him in the back of the head. He then hooks his arm and hoists him up before back suplexing him on the concrete. The crowd ohs as Lucas winces in pain. The referee following the action drops down for the count as Debonair rolls over for the pin.

Lucas kicks out. He rolls over and starts to get up as Debonair grabs him and hoists him up before dragging him up the entrance way. He then smirks before scooping him up and turning before dropping him on the end of the barricade. Lucas pops up and stumbles back and Debonair just waits behind him as Lucas turns around and Debonair clotheslines him down.

Dawson: “Debonair turning things around. They’re up there by the entrance set. The lighting rigs and everything.”

Knots: “It’s dangerous up there. Get them back to the ring.”

Sharper: “Well, there are no rules, so safe or not, they’re going to be there until one of them says no more.”

Lucas slowly stirs and rolls over and Debonair just looks over before walking over towards the area to the right of the entrance way and grabs a tv cable and drags it over before wrapping it around the neck of Lucas. Lucas immediately starts to struggle to breathe as Debonair pulls back. The crowd cheers as Lucas struggles to breathe. Debonair then smirks before spinning Lucas around and throwing him over by the cable, causing him to land legs first into the lighting rig. The crowd ohs as Lucas rolls over, grasping his leg in pain.

Knots: “Not his knee! He threw him on the lights!”

Sharper: “That’s not going to Lucas at all. That could tear something, break something. And well, both are in the battle royal later and Debonair may be considering that too.”

Lucas rolls over and Debonair grabs him and lifts him up. Lucas takes a swing and nails him in the ribs as Lucas hops up a bit. Debonair then hoists him up in a kneebreaker position before running him over and throwing him into the barricade. The crowd ohs as Lucas falls back, holding his knee in pain and yelling in pain. Nathan Slade just watches as Debonair grabs him and lifts him up. Lucas is visibly limping and Debonair turns and hooks the arm of Lucas before hoisting him up and vertical suplexing him on the concrete floor in the entrance way. He then rolls over and goes for the pin.

Lucas gets his shoulder up. Debonair looks up and then grabs Lucas and slowly lifts him up. He then turns and goes to whip him into the apron. Lucas hits hard. Debonair then runs after him and Lucas lifts him up for a backdrop. Debonair bounces off the ropes and falls down, but Lucas however throws him forward, causing Debonair to land on the floor hard, chest first. Debonair rolls over in pain.

Dawson: “Oh! Chest first into the concrete!”

Sharper: “We’ve seen few weapons in this, but this brutal as ever!”

Knots: “Yeah. Lucas may have serious damage to his leg!”

Dawson: “Nevermind that hard landing Debonair just had.”

Debonair starts to get up and Knight suddenly kicks him hard in the head. Debonair rolls over as the crowd ohs. Knight then turns and snaps at Slade. Slade then turns and walks over to the ring and looks underneath it. He then pulls out a hockey stick. The crowd however immediately boos as it is a Montreal Canadiens hockey stick. Lucas Knight just smirks as he limps over and grabs it before flipping off the crowd, getting more boos. Debonair starts to pull himself up and Knight then lifts the stick up and drives it into his back. Debonair rolls over slowly and Knight swings down and drives it into his ribs. Debonair rolls over again and Lucas drills him in the ribs yet again. He then throws the stick into the air, causing it to land in the ring behind him. Knight then limps back over to Slade and Slade hands him a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. He drags it up and then starts to walk back over to Debonair.

Sharper: “Slade was told at the start to not get involved, but he’s turned into the weapon’s dealer for Lucas Knight!”

Dawson: “And the torture of Debonair seems to begin.”

Knots: “As I said, man scorn. He’ll take it out on Debonair! It’s great stress relief!”

Debonair continues to stir and Knight just walks over before swinging violently. Debonair ducks and Knight ends up nailing the referee in the head. The crowd ohs as the referee goes down. Lucas just glances at the official momentarily before turning as Debonair rolls into the ring. Knight then turns and rolls into the ring and starts to get up only for Debonair to turn and kick him in the chest. Knight falls back into the ropes as he drops the barbed wire. Debonair then moves forward and nails him with a hard right and another, while Knight is against the ropes. Debonair nails him again. He then grabs Lucas and whips him across the ring. Knight bounces off the ropes and Debonair grabs him by the head and lifts him up before driving him face first into the barbed wire on the bat. The crowd ohs as Lucas rolls over, holding his skull in pain. He then rolls over to the corner as blood starts to come from his head. Lucas then starts to pull himself up and starts to motion to Debonair to keep coming. Debonair just smirks.

Knots: “What the hell are you doing Lucas?!”

Dawson: “He wants Debonair to keep coming at him, I guess!”

Knots: “That’s nuts!”

Debonair is more than happy to oblige as he kicks Lucas in the ribs and then nails him with a hard right. Lucas falls back down and Debonair then smirks as he walks around the ring and grabs the barbed wire bat. He turns and walks back over to Lucas before looking around and turning and lunging at him, driving the barbed wire into the face of Lucas and pressing down. The crowd ohs as Debonair keeps pressing down and Lucas stamps his feet in pain. Debonair then rips it away and Lucas rolls over, as more blood comes from his head. Debonair then drops the barbed wire before grabbing Lucas and slowly lifting him up. He then kicks him in the ribs before lifting him up and spiking him with a piledriver in the middle of the ring. He then rolls him over and goes for the pin, hooking the leg. But nothing. Debonair looks around and looks at the official who is down, bleeding from the head. Debonair then gets up and looks around before then walking over to the ropes and dropping down to the floor. He then looks underneath the ring before rummaging around and then grabbing an old television monitor for the announce tables. The crowd starts to rise a bit as Debonair rolls back into the ring.

Dawson: “One of the old monitors...we had some issues with one before the show....we put it under there.”

Knots: “Well gotta love the ring crew. Just throw everything under the ring. Not like we have an Underground Championship match between two people that hate each other out here!”

He then starts to get up as Lucas Knight is stirring. Knight gets up and sees it and again dares him to come in and Debonair again happily obliges running over and drilling Lucas Knight hard in the skull with the monitor. The monitor cracks from the impact and Debonair then throws it down as Knight is out. Debonair drops down and goes for the pin, before stopping and realizing the referee is still down. Debonair looks around before then turning and walking in the opposite direction. He then drops down to the floor and walks over to the timekeeper. He walks over to him, starting to talk to him. The timekeeper cowers a bit before nodding and starting to talk into his headset. Debonair then turns around and rolls back into the ring. Lucas starts to stir and Debonair then walks over to him and suddenly Lucas hoists him up onto his shoulders before spinning him around into a TKO on the barbed wire. The crowd ohs as Debonair rolls over, holding his face in pain.

Sharper: “Debonair dropped on his face! Lucas had enough wherewithal to take him up and plant him!”

Knots: “I think I heard Debonair asking for a referee too. So this could be bad for him, but great for Lucas!”

Lucas rolls over and winces a bit as he grabs his knee. He then rolls over and starts to get up. Another official runs down as some EMTs also join him for the other official. The second official slides into the ring as the EMTs check on the downed one. Debonair starts to stir and Lucas then quickly grabs at the barbed wire bat as Debonair gets his feet under him only for Lucas to bring the barbed wire bat up in between Debonair’s legs. Debonair winces and falls over as the crowd ohs. Lucas Knight smirks through his bloody visage before lifting the  barbed wire bat up and turning and driving it into the head of Debonair. The crowd ohs again. He then rolls it away before turning and going for the pin.

Debonair shoots his shoulder up and the crowd roars in approval. Lucas Knight looks up in shock. He then turns, suddenly going from shock to pure anger and mounting Debonair and starting to hammer away at Debonair over and over again.

Dawson: “Lucas Knight has been all over the map in terms of his emotions, but he’s taking it to Debonair!”

Knots: “From shock to anger! Something really must not be happy in Lucasland!”

Lucas nails him with a couple of very hard shots before pulling himself up and walking around. Debonair rolls over slowly and Lucas shakes out his hand. He then turns and waits for Debonair to get back up before turning and running into the ropes. He bounces off them but Debonair then jumps up and nails him with a calf kick. Lucas rolls over and slowly gets up and Debonair grabs him and takes him over with a T-Bone suplex. Lucas rolls over and into the ropes. Debonair immediately sees Nathan nearby and runs over before hitting a baseball slide to the back of Lucas, knocking him through the ropes to the floor. Debonair then slowly pulls himself through and Debonair walks over to Slade. Slade just backs away as Debonair backs away from him before walking over to the timekeeper and grabbing his steel chair, throwing him off.

Knots: “That’s hospitality. He gets you an official and you steal his chair!”

Dawson: “Why not? He looked too comfortable anyways.”

Sharper: “And he may just be looking to end this quick now. They’ve put each other through hell and I think both are forgetting, they’re in the battle royal later too!”

Debonair folds it up and Lucas starts to get up and Debonair walks over and drives the edge of the chair into the ribs of Lucas. Lucas winces and drops down to his knees. Debonair then turns and slides the chair in before grabbing Lucas and rolling him into the ring. Debonair then turns and looks at Nathan who just continues to stand back. He spits at him as the crowd ohs. Nathan just grits his teeth as Debonair then rolls into the ring. Lucas stirs and Debonair grabs the steel chair and unfolds it before placing it down in the middle of the ring. He turns and walks over to Lucas and the crowd starts to roar as he kicks him in the ribs before turning and grabbing him by the head. He sets up for the Debon-AIR, but Lucas suddenly scoops him up and drops him down back first across the opened chair. The crowd ohs as Debonair arcs his back and rolls over in immense pain.

Sharper: “Almost a backbreaker of sorts as Debonair is dropped on the chair as a counter to the Debon-AIR!”

Dawson: “And more possibility for injury. We’ve said it. These two hate each other and are just brutalizing each other.”

Knots: “Yeah and it’s just with using what’s around. They’ve barely gone over the top with the weaponry either.”

Lucas sees Debonair in pain and goes for the pin. He hooks the leg.

Debonair manages to get his shoulder up. Lucas rolls off and just shakes his head. He then turns and sees the destroyed chair and grabs it before folding it back up and throwing it on the crowd, stomping on it to flatten it out more. Debonair stirs and Lucas grabs him. Lucas then quickly hooks the head of Debonair and hits the Hail Brittania before then lifting him back up and dropping him down to the mat and the chair with an inverted DDT. The crowd ohs ad then boos and Lucas turns and hooks the leg again.

2!

Debonair shoots his shoulder up yet again. The crowd roars and Lucas Knight rolls off and clearly shows his rage, breathing heavily, along with his disbelief.

Sharper: “Debonair kicks out again!”

Knots: “Damn it! Stay down!”

Dawson: “He wants to walk away the Underground Championship and he does not want to lose it to Lucas Knight!”

Knight then stands up and limps over to the ropes. He reaches through and Slade just smiles as the reaches into his pocket and pulls something out, handing it to Lucas Knight. Knight then turns and takes what he was given, revealing it to be two pairs of brass knuckles. He places one on one hand and one on the other before looking at Debonair as he stirs.

Sharper: “Oh no. Come on! This is too much now.”

Knots: “Going to the mean streets of Britain here. Brass knuckles...two for one special!”

Knight just looks at Debonair, motioning to him to get up. Debonair however doesn’t see him before turning around and Knight nails him in the ribs with a shot with the brass knucks. He then nails him in the ribs again and Debonair falls back to the ropes before bouncing off them. Knight then nails him again with a hard right to the ribs and Debonair falls down. Knight grabs him and lifts him up before pushing him into the corner. Knight then nails him hard in the ribs with repeated blows as the crowd boos. Debonair coughs and Knight then nails him with a hard right. Debonair just stumbles out from the corner and falls to a knee. He then slowly gets up, clearly dazed and Knight just smiles before drilling Debonair with a hard right hand. Debonair just falls to the ground. Knight then smiles before mounting him and nailing him with several hard right hands, each driving the knucks into Debonair. The crowd boos loudly and Lucas, after repeatedly blows, finally tosses the brass knuckles away and turns and hooks the leg for the pin.

The crowd boos and Lucas Knight rolls off of Debonair and sits up. Slade just smiles as Lucas just looks out at the crowd. He then slowly pulls himself up as the boos continue.

Knots: “Yes! Lucas Knight has done it! He’s righted the wrong of three months ago! He’s now the Underground Champion!”

Dawson: “And Lucas Knight has now finally amassed gold here tonight and he may have just also taken some of his aggression out.”

Sharper: “Debonair isn’t moving...and the third title on the line tonight has changed hands. Lucas Knight is king of the Underground!”

Knight gets up and the referee is handed the title before he turns and hands Knight’s title. Knight just rips it out of the referee’s hands and Lucas just looks at the title and smiles. He turns and then walks over slowly to the ropes and steps through them before dropping down to the floor. Slade pats him on the back, but Knight just glances back at him and Slade backs away a bit. Knight then slowly starts to make his way around the ring, blood still coming down his face as the official checks on Debonair. The crowd boos him as his music blares throughout the arena and the scene slowly fades to black.

Shots of pyro going off at the start of last year’s Rise to Greatness in the Edward Jones Dome is shown as “Hello! Hooray!” by Alice Cooper plays in the background.

“Hello!”

Slow-motion shows of the spotlights starting to circle are shown.

“Hooray! Let the show begin
I've been ready”

A shot of Jason Wheeler making his way down to the ring, followed by a shot of CHBK nailing Mr. D with the Bittersweet Ending are shown, before we see a shot of the audience cheering.

“Hello! Hooray! Let the lights grow dim
I've been ready”

The shot of Jay Gold hitting the Golden Moment on someone, followed by a shot of James Exeter attempting a shooting star press, only for Shawn Winters to counter it into the Graven Image. This turns into a shot of Damian Angel posing.

“Ready as this audience that's coming here to dream”

We then see a shot of Matt Hodges celebrating with the World Championship, followed by a shot of Xander Valentine slowly making his way to the ring.

“Loving every second, every moment, every scream”

This is followed by some recent shots of Christian Savior spearing Greg Cherry, followed by Syren posing with the Women’s Championship and finally a shot of Karnivale standing over the ring in the scaffolding.

“I've been waiting so long for this thing to come”

We then see a shot of Greg Cherry holding the Adrenaline Championship, followed by a shot of Brayden Walker hitting someone with the Name of the Game and followed with a shot of Jake Starr hitting the Shooting Five Star on Hurse in Tactical Warfare.

“Yeah - I've been thinking so long I was the only one”

A shot of the slow-motion opening of last year’s Rise to Greatness is shown yet again as the music starts to trail off.

“Rise to Greatness 2010 – 8 Week Away!”

The scene slowly opens up back in the Mellon Arena as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “And in just eight weeks, we will be at Cowboy Stadium for Rise to Greatness. The biggest event ever.”

Dawson: “Can’t wait for that, but first, we have to finish off tonight. And next, thirty men and women will enter that ring. The winner gets a shot at the SCW World Champion at Rise to Greatness. One half of the Rise to Greatness main event will be determine now.”

Sharper: “But first, let’s take a special look at the battle royal.”

A recap begins to play, showing all of the past winners of the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal while the rules are heard announced over them: CHBK, The Real Speed, Adam Riddick, Damian Angel, Matt Hodges & James Exeter. This is followed by a close look at some of the key individuals involved and their paths and hopes in winning the battle royal including Jason Zero, Karnivale, Dark Triad, Xander Valentine, Chad Evans, Greg Cherry, Katie Steward and others. The question of who will win is left at the end as the recap slowly ends.

Taking Hold of the Flame Battle Royal

The scene opens up in the arena and we see Jason Phillips standing in the middle of the ring. The bell sounds and the crowd roars.

Phillips: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is the thirty individual Taking Hold of the Flame Battle Royal!”

The crowd cheers as Phillips pauses allowing them to make some noise.

Phillips: “The rules of the match are as follows. To start, two individuals will make their way to the ring. Every two minutes afterwards another individual will come from the back until all thirty have entered the ring. Entrants can be eliminated by being thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the ground. Whomever is the last remaining individual in the ring will be named the winner and will go to Rise to Greatness to challenge for the SCW World Championship!”

The crowd cheers a bit more.

Sharper: “Alright. Well, here we go. We know who has drawn number one. That’s about it. Everything else, who knows.”

Knots: “Yeah and God only knows what the hell will happen this year.”

Sharper: “But think of it this way. Six winners....five of them are former World Champions. Two of them have been successful at Rise to Greatness in winning the World Championship and three of them were victorious in their Rise to Greatness matches. That extra win of course is Damian Angel defeating CHBK in 2007.”

The lights dim and a hush comes over the audience. The big screen suddenly goes static and this static starts to form a shape that all the audience recognizes. The audience cheer thunderously as they recognize the face of Jason Zero. The face smiles before saying.

‘The Kingdom Of Old Is Dead.
The Order Has Fallen.
Now Is The Rise Of A New Kingdom…
Of Chaos’

The familiar electric guitar starts playing Crush 40’s ‘Knight of the Wind’ while fans of the proclaimed Crusader of Chaos holds up their lighters as a trap door opens from the stage ramp.

Wooaaah, Woooooah

Slowly, a large glass orb and two metal towers rise. We can see the silhouette of a man kneeling in that orb. As the lyrics start, he slowly rises out stretching his arms at a 45 degree angle.

Hey all (Hey all)
Welcome to the greatest storm.
I know, I know.
You have waited much too long
And I (And I)
I will be your shining star.
I’m here (I’m here)
You Better conquer fear or run!

Suddenly the two metal towers spring to life shooting bright purple and pink electricity at the orb. The man inside does not shy from this and within a few seconds the orb implodes, collapsing all around, leaving the man inside standing, exposed. To no one’s surprise, but to their delight, standing there is Jason Zero, is head to the sky, his eyes closed.

Like a sword, I'm brought
Into the heat of the day
Like a knight, I'll fight
Until the fight is won

In the reign, I save
Each and every
Each and every
Each and everyone
'Till this war is won

Zero looks around at all the lighters and the fans who use their hands to form the letter ‘Z’. He gives a grin before running down the ramp way as he makes it The crowd continues to scream out to Zero. He hops to the turnbuckle, reaching out with his arms and looking to the heavens before removing his jacket.

And I'm meant to rule
By the sword
Slashing through the every inch of the power
The power in you

As I sit
As I stand
By chaos will I command
My kingdom

I'm a knight of the wind

The music is turned down and then off as the crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Jason Zero named number one by CHBK last Breakdown.”

Dawson: “A bit of an insurance plan in some ways to ensure that the terms of this extortion of his with Sasha remain favourable.”

Knots: “Yeah. Zero wins a title shot here tonight, the rules change. They wouldn’t want that.”

Dawson: “Well let’s see who he’ll be starting things off with.”

Never gonna GIVE YOU UP, never gonna LET YOU DOWN
Never gonna RUN AROUND and DESERT YOU

Never gonna MAKE YOU CRY, never gonna SAY GOODBYE
Never gonna TELL A LIE and HURT YOU

"Never Give You Up" by Rick Astley hits as the crowd starts to cheer a bit. Jason Zero just smirks as spotlights start to go around the arena.

Knots: “Oh give me a break.”

Sharper: “This could be interesting. Rick Rohl has taken Jason Zero to the limit and defeated him when he was last SCW Champion. So who knows.”

The spotlights continue to circle before we then see Hurse walk out from the back. He takes a few steps and looks around and the crowd gets a bit confused, but still cheer. Zero just looks down and backs up before throwing his arms in the air. Suddenly, we then see Rick Rohl slide into the ring from the crowd. Zero keeps looking at Hurse and suddenly Rohl runs up and clubs him from behind. The crowd roars and Zero staggers forward. Hurse smiles as Rohl clubs him again. Hurse turns around and walks back to the back as Rohl then grabs Zero and starts to lift him up against the ropes. Zero grabs the ropes quickly as the crowd starts to roar.

Sharper: “Rohl coming in from behind and he may quickly get rid of Jason Zero!”

Knots: “Oh what sweet irony this would be it. An idiot taking out Zero!”

Dawson: “Zero is teetering. He’s nearly going over.”

Zero continues to be pushed up by Rohl before Zero manages to reach forward and poke Rohl in the eye. Rohl turns away and staggers back as Zero falls back down to the mat and Rohl turns around and Zero turns and nails him with a hard right. Rohl stumbles back and Zero nails him with a hard right. He then grabs Rohl and spins him around before throwing him into the top turnbuckle. Rohl turns and Zero grabs him and starts to try and lift him up, but Rohl holds onto the ropes. Zero keeps lifting him up and Rohl then manages to nail Zero with a hard right. Rohl drops down and Zero staggers forward and Rohl nails him with a clothesline. The crowd roars a bit and Zero starts to get back up.

Dawson: “These two having a bit of a brawl right now.”

Sharper: “Well they may want to  get rid of one another as we’re going to get another one in the fray in just a few moments.”

Zero gets up and Rohl grabs him and then knees him in the ribs. He then kicks him in the ribs before then turning and whipping him back into the ropes. Zero bounces off the ropes and Rohl scoops him up and drops him with a powerslam. He then turns and grabs Zero and starts to lift him up before turning and going to throw him out of the ring. The crowd roars as  Zero goes up and over, but lands on the apron. Rohl turns around and walks back to the middle of the ring and Zero then slingshots himself back into the ring and Rohl turns around and Zero kicks him in the ribs before taking him over with a snap suplex.

Dawson: “Close call for Zero.”

Knots: “Not close enough!”

Zero turns and stomps Rohl in the ribs. Rohl rolls over and starts to stir only for Zero to drag him up and nails him with a hard shot to the ribs. Rohl stumbles back to the corner. Zero then nails him with a hard chop and then a kick to the ribs. He grabs Rohl and goes to send him across the ring, but Rohl stops before the corner. He turns around and Zero runs at him, but Rohl nails him with a back elbow. Zero stumbles back to the ropes and Rohl runs at him, but Zero moves out of the way and Rohl almost goes up and over, but stops himself. The crowd roars and Rohl turns around and Zero nails him with a chop and then another, knocking him against the ropes. Zero then starts to lift him up, but Rohl holds on and keeps holding on for dear life. As he does so, the crowd starts to roar as we hear the countdown start and it comes up in the corner. Rohl keeps holding on and manages to roll over before falling back down to the mat. Zero then nails him with a chop, knocking him back into the corner. Zero starts to push back on Rohl as the crowd anticipates the next entrant. The buzzer goes off and “Empire State of Mind” starts to play throughout the arena. The crowd cheers a bit as we see Fred Debonair, wincing still from the Underground Championship match, starting to make his way down to the ring, holding his ribs.

Sharper: “And Fred Debonair is now in this thing and he’s still obviously favouring his ribs after the beating he took at the hands of Lucas Knight and those brass knuckles.”

Knots: “Obviously not going to help him out here. He’s not in the best of conditions.”

Debonair continues to favour himself as he jogs down as best as he can before rolling into the ring. Zero nails Rohl with a hard back elbow and Debonair gets up and starts to run over to Zero before clubbing him in the back. He then spins him around and nails him with a hard right. He then turns and kicks Rohl in the ribs. Debonair then turns around and starts to go after Zero. Zero however quickly kicks him in the ribs and Debonair drops down in a heap. Zero then grabs him and lifts him up before hoisting him up in a gutwrench and dropping him with a gutbuster. Debonair rolls over, holding his ribs in pain. Rohl then comes out of the corner and Zero turns around only for Rohl to boot him in the face. Zero goes down as Debonair stirs. Debonair starts to pull himself up and Rohl grabs him. He then knees him in the chest. Debonair winces.

Dawson: “Those ribs are really hampering Debonair.”

Sharper: “Well no doubt. Brass knuckles are not made to tickle. Lucas Knight knew that and unfortunately, this night continues to get painful for the now former Underground Champion.”

Rohl grabs Debonair and whips him into the ropes. Debonair bounces off the ropes and Rohl lifts him up and throws him into the ropes. Debonair pops back and rolls over. Rohl then turns and grabs him before dragging him up before nailing him with a hard right. Rohl then whips Debonair into the ropes. Debonair bounces off the ropes and Rohl then goes to lift him up again, but Debonair this time counters and grabs the head of Rohl before countering with a DDT. The crowd cheers and Debonair rolls over slowly. Zero meanwhile starts to get up and Debonair turns around and Zero runs over and clotheslines him down.

Knots: “Got to have eyes in the back of your head.”

Dawson: “And this is just the biggest. As this goes on, this is going to get more brutal, more backstabbing, more everything.”

Debonair rolls over and starts to stir and Zero quickly kicks him in the ribs. He then places his head between his legs. He hoists him up and up to his shoulders, but Debonair manages to slide down. He then turns and quickly sets up for the Debon-AIR, but Zero quickly drops back and rolls over to the ropes. Debonair turns and smirks before wincing a bit. He then turns and runs at Zero and attempts a clothesline him over. Zero however side steps him and then turns and grabs him before hoisting him up. Debonair grabs on the ropes and tries to hold on, but Zero manages to get him up and over before catching him with a knee to the ribs and Debonair lets go before falling to the ground. The crowd ohs and Debonair hits the mats hard as Zero falls back. He then turns around as the countdown clock returns.

Dawson: “And there goes Debonair and no doubt the rib injury did it.”

Sharper: “He never caught him with a knee to the ribs for good measure. Lucas Knight just cost him two titles arguably.”

Knots: “Well who cares. Let’s move on. Who’s next!”

Zero gets back up and Rohl turns and walks over and nails Zero with a hard right, knocking him back into the corner. Rohl nails him again and the buzzer goes off. The crowd then roars as “Lucifer’s Angel” starts to play throughout the arena. Damian Angel slowly walks out from the back before looking down at the ring and then starting to jog down. Zero manages to get a kick to the ribs and Rohl falls over. Damian slides into the ring and then gets up as Zero just smiles and dares him to bring it on. Damian however quickly moves forward and nails Zero with a hard right. Zero takes it and fires back with one of his own. The crowd cheers as Damian nails him again and Zero fires back with another. Damian nails him again and Zero hits a chop. He hits another chop and Rohl suddenly comes from behind and clotheslines Zero down.

Sharper: “We remember what Damian Angel said. He’s going go right after Zero for Sasha.”

Knots: “Yeah, well, he’s off to a great start. Zero is down and he’s standing.”

Zero starts to stir and Damian turns and grabs Rohl and knees him in the ribs. He then turns and nails him with a shot to the throat. Rohl staggers back. Damian then grabs him and turns before throwing him over and to a random corner. Rohl falls over and Damian then goes back to Zero. He grabs Zero and lifts him up before nailing him with a hard right. He nails him with a forearm after before then placing him on the top rope and starting to lift him up. Zero quickly grabs the ropes and tries to hold on as Damian pushes up as hard as he can. Zero holds on for dear life and Damian keeps pushing him up.

Dawson: “This may not take long. Damian is going right after Zero.”

Sharper: “And he knows how to get it done. He’s a former battle royal winner. In fact, he’s the only one that’s in this whole thing.”

Zero turns and rolls over a bit and Damian loses his hold and Zero drops down. Damian nails him with a hard right and Rohl then runs over and clubs Damian in the back. Damian falls over and Rohl nails him again in the back of the head. He then hoists him up before throwing him back with a back suplex. Damian rolls over, holding his head in pain. Rohl turns around and walks over to him and stomps him in the face. Damian rolls over. Rohl then grabs Damian and slowly lifts him up. He then scoops him up before walking over and placing him on the top rope. Damian holds on and Rohl tries to push him over, but Damian nails him with a knee to the head. He falls back over and Damian lands back in the ring. Rohl then gets up and Damian runs at him and clotheslines him down. Zero then suddenly runs over and nails him with a spinning heel kick as the crowd cheers.

Dawson: “A brawl in the ring right now as Damian, Rohl and Zero are going right at it.”

Knots: “Who is next may be licking their chops?”

Sharper: “Well here they come. Ten seconds.”

The countdown clock returns and we see Zero grabs Damian and starts to lift him up before placing him on the top rope in the middle of the ring. He then hoists  him up as the buzzer goes. “Welcome to the Masquerade” plays throughout the arena and the crowd erupts in cheers as Masquerade jogs out from the back. He runs down to the ring as Zero keeps lifting Damian up. Damian continues to struggle as Masquerade jumps up onto the apron. He then turns and springboards to the top rope and dives forward, hitting a flying kick to the back of Zero’s head. Zero falls forward and Damian falls over the top rope and onto the apron. Zero then falls over and Damian rolls back into the ring. Masquerade then turns and runs over to Rohl and kicks him in the ribs. He turns and spins him around and throws him into the top turnbuckle.

Dawson: “One half of the new SCW Tag Team Champions in here and he’s coming in like a house on fire.”

Knots: “Yeah. He’s hitting everything that moves. Good strategy for him.”

Sharper: “But he’s got to start throwing them over the top too.”

Masquerade turns around and sees Zero starting to stir and Masquerade runs over and kicks him in the ribs. He then snapmares him over. Zero winces and Masquerade then flips forward and hits him with a neck whip. Zero rolls over, holding his neck in pain and Masquerade turns and sees Rohl running at him. Rohl attempts a big boot, but Masquerade ducks. He spins around and Rohl turns and Masquerade jumps up and nails him with a jumping enziguri to the head. Rohl staggers back and over to the corner. Masquerade then turns and runs over and jumps up to the middle rope. He then nails Rohl with a hard right and then another and another. Rohl however suddenly lifts him up and throws him over the top rope. Masquerade grabs the top rope and hangs over barely before quickly rolling back into the ring. He rolls over and Rohl then walks over and nails him with a hard forearm.

Dawson: “Close call there!”

Sharper: “I don’t know why Masquerade left himself open like that, but if he does that too often it may cost him. He was successful last year. But that was last year.”

Knots: “Yeah. This year, no one will be as surprised by him and may do some damage to him!”

Rohl nails him again before grabbing him and whipping him into the ropes. Masquerade bounces off the ropes and Rohl lifts him up, but Masquerade spins around him. He then pushes Rohl forward and into the ropes and then tries to lift him up. The crowd roars and Masquerade keeps pushing up. Just then we see Damian grab Jason Zero and chop him, knocking him into the corner, working on him. Damian nails him again as Masquerade tries to lift Rohl up. Rohl uses his stature to push up on the apron, keeping him somewhat safe. Masquerade however keeps lifting him up as best as he can as Damian starts to lift Zero up, but Zero immediately rakes him in the eye. Damian spins around and Zero then runs forward and kicks him in the ribs. Damian stumbles back and Zero runs forward and clotheslines Damian up and over the top rope, but Damian falls down on the apron and quickly rolls back in. Rohl manages to push back and falls back to his feet and nails Masquerade with a hard back. Masquerade stumbles back as the countdown clock returns.

Dawson: “They’re all battling, but now time to see who will be next in this match.”

Knots: “Number six so far. And just hard to believe we’re only still starting!”

Rohl turns and kicks him in the ribs. He then scoops up Masquerade before throwing him down with a scoop slam. Zero meanwhile places his foot on the throat of Damian Angel, starting to choke him. Meanwhile, the buzzer goes and the crowd roars as “Beat It” plays throughout the arena and Marcus V. Lopez runs out from the back. He jogs down to the ring and hops up onto the apron before slingshotting himself into the ring. He then runs over and clubs Rohl in the back of the head. He clubs him again before turning around and bouncing off the ropes and jumping up, but Rohl grabs him. He then throws him back with a fallaway slam. Zero gets off of Damian and bends over and grabs him. He slowly lifts him up before dragging him over to the corner and throwing him into the middle turnbuckle. Damian turns and Zero turns around and walks over to the middle of the ring. He then runs over and nails him with a running knee.

Dawson: “Oh! Right in the corner.”

Sharper: “Damian Angel and Jason Zero have been preoccupied with each other for the last few minutes so far. Zero already getting over the ten minute mark here.”

Knots: “Same with Rohl. Come on. Let’s not forget him!”

Zero then turns around as Rohl grabs MV and starts to lift him up. He then lifts him up and goes to throw him over the top rope, but MV grabs the ropes and frantically holds on. Meanwhile, Masquerade turns and Zero nails him with a hard right. He then kicks him in the ribs before dragging him over to the ropes. He then starts to lift him up and the crowd roars a bit as Masquerade starts to hold on, wrapping his legs around the top rope. Zero keeps pushing and Masquerade rolls over and lands on the apron. He then quickly nails Zero with a hard right before entering back into the ring. He then jumps up and takes Zero down with a facebuster. Rohl meanwhile nails MV With a hard right before hitting another and MV falls back down onto the apron. Rohl reaches through the ropes and MV kicks him in the side of the head. Rohl falls back. MV rolls back into the ring.

Dawson: “MV showing some spirit as he rolls back into the ring.”

Sharper: “This is a great opportunity for him. If he can have a solid showing, he may be able to get something going with his career again.”

Knots: “It’s Marcus Lopez. A cockroach has a better chance at getting something going.”

Rohl starts to get up and MV quickly mounts him and nails him with a couple of shots. Zero meanwhile stirs and Masquerade grabs him and lifts him up before taking him down with an inverted atomic drop. He then turns and grabs him before dragging him over to the ropes. He places him on the middle rope and starts to choke him. Masquerade keeps pushing down as the crowd buzzes a bit. Damian starts to get up as the countdown clock returns in the corner. Masquerade keeps choking him only for Damian to run over and jump up and nail Masquerade in the side of the head with a kick. The crowd ohs. Damian then turns and grabs him and lifts him up before trying to eliminate Zero again. Zero holds onto the ropes and pushes back as Damian keeps trying to dump him over. MV meanwhile gets up and stomps Rohl in the head as the buzzer goes off. “Gasoline” plays throughout the arena and the crowd boos as Lucas Knight walks out from the back. He looks much as he did earlier with no real desire to smile and just runs down to the ring. He’s also still covered in his blood.

Knots: “Here we go! The new Underground Champion. That’s my favourite. He’s got nothing to lose. That man is going to win it all.”

Dawson: “Coming in at number seven. Not the best number but we’ve seen people do it from the start before. All of these men trying for that.”

Lucas Knight walks up the steel steps slowly and enters the ring. Marcus V. Lopez turns around and sees him and Knight quickly nails him with a clothesline. He then turns and runs over to Masquerade and runs at him, drilling him with a hard clothesline in the corner. Masquerade then falls over and drops down to the mat. Damian Angel keeps fighting with Zero and Knight walks over and grabs Angel and pulls him back. He then takes him over with a short-arm clothesline. Knight then turns and drops down to Damian and hammers away at him with several hard right hands. He then turns and looks over to Zero and Rohl. Zero stumbles forward and Knight gets up before spinning around him and grabbing him and dropping him with the Hail Britannia. Rohl gets up and Knight quickly kicks him in the ribs before dropping him with a DDT.

Sharper: “Lucas Knight is cleaning house. He’s striking everything moving.”

Knots: “It’s great therapy I guess. We saw that a bit earlier in the Underground Championship match.”

Dawson: “Yeah and he’s so far been very good at taking people out.”

Knight rolls over and he then turns and grabs Rohl. He slowly lifts him up and drags him over to the ropes. He then starts to try and hoist the big man over the top ropes. Knight struggles a bit but continues. Surprisingly, MV walks over and follows him and tries to help him out. Knight just takes the help as Rohl grabs the ropes, struggling to hold on. Masquerade stirs and slowly gets up. He stumbles over and MV keeps trying to take him out, but Masquerade then runs over and jumps up and just crossbodies everyone. Rohl falls up and over, but somehow lands on the apron. MV rolls away and Masquerade grabs Lucas and drags him up before hooking his arm and taking him over with a vertical suplex. Rohl then pulls himself back into the ring. Masquerade then turns and grabs Lucas and rolls over before starting to lift him back up. He then drags him over to the ropes only to then elbow him in the ribs. Lucas winces and Masquerade then hooks him and lifts him up before dropping him with a back suplex.

Dawson: “Masquerade taking it to the new Underground Champion. A bit of champion and champion action.”

Knots: “What the hell was that? Champion on champion action?”

Dawson: “Thought it sounded good.”

Knots: “It only sounds good if it’s Syren and Ravyn Taylor involved!”

Meanwhile Masquerade turns and grabs Knight and lifts him back up before placing him on the ropes and starts to lift him up as the crowd starts to cheer as the countdown clock returns. Masquerade starts to lift Knight up as Knight grabs onto the ropes. MV gets up and joins Rohl kicking him in the ribs. He then starts to lift him up. Rohl however holds on as MV struggles to lift him up and over as the buzzer goes and “Sin with a Grin” plays throughout the arena. The crowd roars as Shilo Valiant jogs out from the back and starts to run down to the ring, cleaned up from earlier and a bandage on his head.

Sharper: “And this may be very interesting. Karnivale is in there together and early on.”

Dawson: “We know Shilo would love the opportunity winning this match has, but will he work together with Masquerade early on. If so, this could be a long night for everyone else.”

Shilo slides into the ring and immediately goes over to Masquerade and starts to help him get rid of Lucas. Lucas, however, holds on and flips forward and lands on the apron. He quickly dives back in, getting a stomp to the back of the head from Masquerade. Shilo then points over to MV and Rohl. Masquerade and Shilo then both run over and MV still struggles with Rohl. Masquerade and Shilo then both run over and quickly lift Rohl and MV up and over the top rope and both men topple to the floor. The crowd roars and Damian and Zero get back up. Shilo just smirks before looking back to Masquerade. Masquerade just smirks before Shilo quickly grabs Zero and pulls him in only for Masquerade to run forward and bounces off the roes, knocking him down with The Near Death Experience, only with their roles reversed. Damian gets back to his feet and the Tag Team Champions get up and quickly hit a double superkick to him, knocking him down.

Sharper: “Karnivale is dominating!”

Knots: “Okay. Okay. They’re my new favourites. Yeah. They’re going to go all the way.”

Dawson: “What happened to Lucas Knight?”

Knots: “I never picked him.”

Dawson: “Sure...”

Knight gets back up and Shilo turns and walks over to him and Knight quickly nails him with a low blow. Shilo falls over and winces in pain. Masquerade turns around and runs at Knight, but Knight quickly lifts him up and hits a flapjack. Masquerade rolls over and starts to pull himself back up and Knight quickly runs over and nails him with a vicious clothesline, knocking him up and over. Knight turns around and dives down on top of Shilo and starts to hammer away, but Masquerade holds onto the top rope, desperately trying to get his feet back on the apron. He kicks at the ring cover before then managing to pull himself back onto the apron. Masquerade then quickly climbs up to the top rope as Knight gets off of Shilo. He then turns around and Masquerade dives off and lands on his shoulders before taking him over with a hurricanrana. The crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “How about that! What a move! Hurricanarana off the rope!”

Dawson: “Oh man! This is bad for everyone. Karnivale is dominating right now.”

Knots: “Well here comes someone else in a minute. Maybe they can stop them.”

The countdown clock returns and Masquerade gets up. Lucas Knight starts to stir just from the momentum of the move and Masquerade grabs him and turns before driving him face first into the top turnbuckle. He then lifts him up and places him on the top turnbuckle with his back facing the ring. Masquerade then starts to climb up, but is sure to only go to the middle rope. He then starts to hoist Knight up, but Knight elbows him in the head as the buzzer goes off. Masquerade falls back and Knight stands up just enough to dive back with a twisting crossbody, knocking him down. “Tear Away” plays and the crowd erupts in boos as God Himself, Chad Evans starts to walk out from the back. He just looks at the ring, stopping and just shaking his head. He then slowly walks down.

Dawson: “Chad Evans is now in this.”

Knots: “It’s Godly now Godly Content! You know what! That’s my new favourite!”

Sharper: “You have three favourites. He’s only number nine. There’s a long way to go Jon!”

Chad continues to take his time as Knight gets up and Zero gets up and clotheslines him down. He then turns around and stomps him in the face. Knight rolls over in pain. He then stomps him again before dropping down and starting to dig away at the wound on his forehead. The crowd roars as Zero then starts to bite his forehead. Knight stamps the mat in pain. Damian stirs and Zero rips away from the head of Knight. Blood starts to come out again and the crowd starts to cheer upon that sight. Zero then lifts up Knight and goes to throw him towards the ropes, but Evans walks up the steel steps. He then walks along the apron. Zero turns and throws him into the turnbuckle and Knight falls back. Zero then backs up to the middle of the ring.

Dawson: “Here we go. Zero and Evans may be about to go at it.”

Sharper: “They don’t like each other. That’s to say the least. So here we go. This could be interesting.”

Evans walks along the apron and suddenly, Damian Angel comes from behind of Zero. He then grabs him by the waist and throws him over the top rope. Zero however holds on and lands on the apron. Evans quickly goes over and grabs him but Zero kicks him in the ribs. He then turns and grabs Evans and pushes him back, back and head first into the ringpost. Evans falls off the apron and down to the floor. The crowd cheers a bit, but the referees wave it off. Damian then runs at Zero, but Zero turns and buries his shoulder into his ribs. Zero then pulls himself over the top rope and flips through. He then runs into the ropes behind Damian. Damian turns around and Zero nails him with a spear. The crowd cheers upon that.

Dawson: “Spear by Zero and he just dodged a hell of a bullet.”

Sharper: “And don’t know Jonathan. Chad Evans is still in. He never entered the ring.”

Knots: “That’s right! He’s still in. He never entered officially. He’s still yet to enter the ring.”

Zero slowly gets up as Shilo and Masquerade both get up. Zero quickly turns and kicks Masquerade in the ribs, knocking him back down. He then turns to Shilo and Shilo grabs him and spins him around into the corner. Shilo then nails him with a hard right and then another and another. He then turns him onto the top rope and Shilo starts to lift him up. Zero quickly places his feet on the top rope and keeps trying to hold on. Shilo tries to lift him up by placing himself under him. The crowd roars again as Knight then comes over and nails him in the back. Shilo winces and Knight nails him with a hard right. Shilo staggers back. Knight then grabs Shilo and whips him into the ropes, but Shilo stops at the ropes. Knight, out of instinct, runs forward and Shilo lifts him up and back drops him over, but Knight holds on and lands on the apron. He then quickly dives back in and rolls through. Shilo turns around and clotheslines him down as the crowd ohs again. Meanwhile, the countdown clock makes its appearance again as the crowd cheers. Shilo follows up on Knight and stomps him in the head. Shilo stomps him again and then bends over and grabs him and lifts him up before throwing him into the corner. Masquerade goes over to join him as Chad continues to hold his head on the floor. The buzzer rings and “Down With the Sickness” plays throughout the arena and boos come from all over as Nathan Slade starts to run down to the ring, quickly picking up the pace, seeing Karnivale working on him.

Knots: “Yes! Go after Lucas! Save him! Be a good bodyguard!”

Sharper: “Nathan Slade, Lucas Knight’s muscle of sorts, is number ten. And Knight put his whole entourage in this.”

Knots: “Think about it. With Knight, Matthews, Slade and then all of Dark Triad, that’s like...one fifth of the field. Good odds there!”

Slade slides into the ring and he runs over and quickly runs over to Shilo and Masquerade and grabs Masquerade and throws him back hard. Shilo turns around and Knight suddenly rakes his eyes. Shilo turns and leans on the ropes. Masquerade gets up and Slade just lifts him up and drops him with a spinebuster. The crowd ohs. Slade then turns around and Knight motions to him as Slade walks over and grabs Shilo and just pushes him over the top rope, but Shilo quickly holds on and lands on the apron. Slade goes to nail him, but Shilo blocks it and nails Slade with a hard right. He then turns and nails Knight before springboarding to the top rope and hitting a flying clothesline on Slade and Knight. The crowd cheers and Shilo rolls through. He then gets up and Zero walks over and nails him with a hard right. Shilo turns and falls over to the corner.

Dawson: “Shilo doing some damage, but Zero’s right back there and going after him.”

Sharper: “Damian is more or less still down. I don’t trust that. And Chad is still on the floor acting as if he’s been shot!”

Knots: “He may have been.”

Sharper: “Oh for the love of God Jonathan.”

Knots: “Yes! I love Chad!”

Damian meanwhile slowly starts to stir as Zero lifts Shilo up and tries to set him up to be thrown over. Damian Angel slowly gets up as Slade and Knight stir and Masquerade stirs as well. Knight, a bit slower to get up, tells Slade to go after Masquerade. Slade walks over to Masquerade and clubs him in the back. Slade then whips Masquerade into the ropes. Masquerade bounces off the ropes and Slade goes to lift him up, but Masquerade kicks him in the head. Slade falls back. He then turns and nails Masquerade with a hard right. Knight staggers back and Masquerade moves over and nails him with a forearm again. Damian meanwhile gets up and Zero keeps pushing Shilo up and Damian runs over and just nails him with a running shoulder block from behind. Zero winces and falls to his knees. He slowly stirs and Damian pulls him up before grabbing him by the head and quickly hitting a snap bulldog. He then rolls over and looks at Zero.

Sharper: “Bulldog on Zero. Trademark move right there and Damian Angel yet again gravitates to Jason Zero.”

Dawson: “He’s focused on doing what he vows and that’s eliminating the number one entrant.”

Sharper: “Who’s now getting to twenty minutes in this thing.”

Damian then places his foot on the throat of Zero and pushes down as he grabs onto the ropes. Shilo meanwhile takes a moment to relax and walks along the ropes. Masuqerade starts to lift Knight up and Slade then walks over and clubs him in the back. He then holds Masquerade and pulls him out as Knight nails him with a kick to the ribs. Slade then, still holding Masquerade, runs him forward and drives him chest first into the corner. Knight and walks over and aids Slade in trying to get him out as the countdown returns. The crowd starts to count down with it as Damian keeps choking Zero and Slade and Knight start to try and get Masquerade out. We get to zero as the buzzer goes off.

“SPARKLE AND SHIIIIIIINE!”

The crowd explodes in cheers, rising to their feet as “Sparkle and Shine” plays throughout the arena and James Exeter bursts out from behind the curtain. In the ring, Damian Angel glances back, immediately looking shocked.

Sharper: “Oh my God! It’s James Exeter! Exeter’s in the battle royal!”

Dawson: “And look at Damian Angel! He’s the person who put him on the shelf!”

Sharper: “Oh boy! Oh boy!”

James Exeter does not slow down an inch as he slides into the ring. Damian Angel moves forward and Exeter immediately tackles him down. He then quickly nails him with several repeated hard rights to the head as the crowd continues to go nuts. Damian pushes him off and both men get up. Damian immediately tries a clothesline, but Exeter ducks and plants his feet before hitting the Zizou kick to the head. Damian falls back into the ropes. Exeter then rolls over before running at Damian and jumping up, taking him up and over with a crossbody over the top rope and both former battle royal winners topple to the floor. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Exeter takes out Damian Angel! He just took out his former mentor!”

Dawson: “And he’s not done yet! He’s still going after Angel!”

Knots: “And look in the ring. Chad!”

Seeing his opportunity, Chad slid in and quickly run over and clotheslined Shilo Valiant down. He then turns and runs over to Slade and clubs him in the back before pulling him back and dropkicking him in the back of the head. Exeter meanwhile nails Damian with a hard right and Damian staggers away. Damian turns around and Exeter kicks him in the ribs before turning and whipping him into the barricade. Damian spins off and staggers away as the officials come over and delay Exeter a bit. Damian starts to make a getaway as he walks around ringside and towards the rampway. Exeter gets past them and runs after Damian, catching up to him in the rampway and jumping on his back, taking him down before hammering away at him. Meanwhile. Chad takes Lucas down with a back suplex. Masquerade drops down and stumbles and Chad turns and quickly double leg takedowns him before rolling him over into the Levity. The crowd roars as action is going all around.

Dawson: “Exeter still going after Damian Angel in the entrance way and Chad Evans, he’s finally entered.”

Knots: “And he’s got the Levity on Masquerade! This is great!”

Masquerade yells in pain as Evans holds back. Shilo turns over and goes to Evans and Evans lets go and takes him Shilo down and turns him over into a Levity as well! Shilo yells in pain as the crowd roars again. Exeter meanwhile nails Damian in the back as Damian stumbles back to his feet and he staggers forward. Exeter then runs over and grabs him before dragging him through the curtain as the crowd roars and the countdown clock returns. Evans keeps pulling back as Zero, Slade and Lucas all start to stir. Masquerade rolls over to the ropes and Shilo continues to be in pain and Evans lets go as the buzzer goes. “Downfall of us All” plays throughout the arena and David Helms runs out from the back, greeted by cheers. He jogs down to the ring and Evans quickly clubs Slade in the back before turning and throwing him into the corner and kicking him in the ribs.

Sharper: “David Helms, the only Misfit member in this thing. But he’s also an up and comer. Much like a lot of people in this match.”

Dawson: “A lot of potential for Helms. He’s seemingly looking to get out of the Underground. This would be a hell of a first step if he succeeds tonight.”

Helms slides in and gets up before walking over and chopping Zero in the chest as he gets up. He then pushes him into the corner and chops him again. He then grabs him hip tosses him out of the corner. Zero winces and rolls over as Evans grabs Slade and starts to lift him up. Slade struggles for a moment, but Lucas quickly runs over and drives his forearm into the back of Evans. Evans winces and Lucas nails him again. He then spins Chad around and rakes his eyes before kicking him in the ribs. He then turns and whips him into the ropes. Chad bounces off the ropes and Lucas goes to grab him, but Chad kicks him in the ribs. Slade then runs out of the corner and clotheslines him down. Helms turns and then kicks Lucas himself before scooping him up and slamming him down. Lucas winces and starts to move back to the corner. Helms walks over and places his foot on the throat of Lucas and pushes down. Lucas grabs at the ropes, looking for any leverage as Slade grabs Chad and quickly drops him with a sidewalk slam. He then turns around and Helms glances back as Slade turns and runs at Helms and Helms nails him with a back elbow. Helms then turns and runs into the ropes on the far side and runs at Slade, but Masquerade runs out and drills him with a spinning heel kick as the crowd ohs.

Dawson: “Out of nowhere, that spinning heel kick. Masquerade thrusting himself back into this match.”

Sharper: “That’s one thing about this. People will strike from all over. You’re always vulnerable.”

Knots: “Yeah. Like Zero. He’s half out of it because he’s taken a beating already. And Lucas...he’s bleeding. He should be allowed to get bandaged and then come back out.”

Sharper: “He entered himself. That’s his problem.”

Helms starts to stir and Masquerade quickly grabs him and nails him with a hard right. He then pushes him towards the corner. Shilo winces and holds his back as he stumbles over and joins Masquerade as the Karnivale members again start to double team entrants, focusing on Helms as both start to lift him up. Slade meanwhile turns back to Chad and lifts him up only for Chad to nails him with a European uppercut. Slade staggers back and Knight pulls himself out of the corner. He runs forward and jumps up before wrapping around Chad and forcing him down with a neckbreaker drop. Chad rolls over and Knight quickly kicks Chad in the ribs. He then spins him around and holds him and Slade smirks as he walks forward and kicks Chad in the ribs for good measure. He then turns around and runs into the ropes, but Zero pulls the top rope down and Slade goes up and over the top rope and to the floor as the crowd roars. Knight just looks on in shock before Russian leg sweeping Chad down.

Dawson: “Lucas’ buddy is gone as Zero just pulled down the rope and Nathan Slade isn’t too pleased.”

Sharper: “I wouldn’t be too. Lucas Knight’s not too pleased and he’s going to take it out on Zero. Lucas Knight is not the right person to be pissing off tonight.”

Meanwhile the countdown clock comes up as Zero turns and Knight kicks him in the ribs. He then turns and places him in between the ropes and pulls back, stretching out the back of Zero. The crowd boos as Helms continues to fight off Karnivale in the other corner. Chad starts to stir as the buzzer goes. “I Wanna Live” plays and the crowd cheers a bit as Jamal Evans runs down from the back. Evans enters the ring and he turns and clubs Knight in the back. Knight winces and Chad gets up only for Jamal to clothesline him down. He then turns and nails Shilo with a hard right and then nails Masquerade, allowing Helms to fall back into the ring. He then nails Helms for good measure.

Sharper: “Jamal Evans is striking everything moving. May be a good plan, but he broke up some elimination attempts too.”

Knots: “At this point, unless you’re chucking, you’re doing something else that rhymes and is in the past tense. They’re going to destroy you.”

Chad gets back up and Jamal runs past and kicks him in the ribs. He then turns and throws him towards the ropes, but Chad easily holds on, not even going over the top rope. Jason Zero re-enters the ring and Jamal Evans runs over and goes over to clothesline him back into the corner. Evans starts to lift Zero up and Jamal pushes back as Zero starts to hold on for dear life. Zero keeps holding on and Jamal Evans keeps pushing up before Lucas Knight nails him from behind. He then turns and spins him around and goes to throw him over the top rope, but Jamal holds on. Lucas turns and runs over to him before Jamal Evans just nails him with an elbow. Lucas staggers back and Jason Zero suddenly runs out from the corner and drills Lucas with the Chaos Theory. The crowd roars as Jamal starts to get in, but Chad Evans kicks the middle rope and Jamal straddles it in pain. Chad then lifts up his other leg and throws it out of the ring before turning Jamal over so his back is laying on the middle rope. He starts to pull him back so he hangs by his legs and the crowd roars before Chad Evans suddenly turns over dropping Jamal Evans with a vicious Overturn. The crowd ohs as Jamal Evans just ends up on his back, staring at the lights.

Sharper: “Oh my God! Divine Retribution if there ever was. Chad Evans just planted Jamal Evans with the Overturn!”

Knots: “They may have the same last name, but Chad Evans just made sure Jamal Evans is dreaming of God.”

Dawson: “And Lucas Knight is down thanks to the Chaos Theory.”

Jason Zero gets up and Shilo quickly walks over and kicks him in the ribs. He then spins him around and throws him over into the corner. Shilo nails him with a chop as Helms grabs Masquerade and headbutts him. He then nails him with a hard right. He nails him with another as Chad Evans just looks at Jamal Evans and smirks before walking across the ring and nailing Helms from behind. He then pulls him back before going for a German suplex, but Helms blocks it. He then elbows Chad a few times before spinning around behind him and Masquerade suddenly drills Chad with a superkick. Helms follows with a German suplex of his own as the crowd roars.

Dawson: “Teamwork from Helms and Masquerade. Unintentional of course, but it works.”

Sharper: “No doubt and the bodies are piling up. And whoever is next may have a bit of fun.”

The countdown clock comes back up as Shilo starts to lift Jason Zero up. Zero again holds on for all he can as Masquerade then runs over and kicks Helms in the ribs. He then lifts him up and takes him over with a front suplex. Helms rolls over, holding his face in pain and Masquerade turns and grabs him and lifts him up as the buzzer goes. The crowd then roars as “Wait and Bleed” plays and a huge pyro blast goes off as we see Dillusion run out from the back with Jerry duct taped to his head! Dillusion hops onto the apron and then steps through the ropes, holding onto Jerry. He then turns and Masquerade turns away from Helms and Dillusion drops his head suddenly and nails him in the face with Jerry. Masquerade shakes his head unsure of what to think and Dillusion suddenly drops down and hits a headbutt to the head of Masquerade. Helms turns around and starts to get up and Dillusion quickly grabs him and lifts him up for a powerbomb before holding him up on his shoulders and falling forward with him, driving his head and Jerry into Helms’ Jerries!

Knots: “No! Not this idiot!”

Sharper: “And he’s got a damn lawn gnome stuck to his head. Only in SCW folks!”

Dawson: “Well at least he knows where it is.”

Sharper: “And he’s using his head.”

Knots: “Oh....Adam....no!”

Helms rolls over, holding his jewels in pain. Lucas starts to stir and he looks up to Dillusion and Dillusion turns to him and just waves. In the background, Jason rakes Shilo’s eyes and then quickly grabs him before throwing him shoulder first into the ringpost. The crowd ohs as Shilo then rolls onto the apron and rolls back in. Lucas rolls away quickly then gets up and attempts a hard right, but Dillusion blocks it and headbutts Lucas with Jerry. He rolls over and gets back up and Dillusion grabs him before turning and whipping him towards the ropes and throwing him over. Lucas however holds on and pulls himself back onto the apron. Dillusion then turns and runs at Lucas only for Lucas to nail him with a hard right. Dillusion stumbles back and Chad Evans jumps up and dropkicks him down. Dillusion rolls over. Lucas then steps back into the ring and Chad grabs Lucas with a front face lock. He then quickly muscles him up onto his shoulders, but Lucas spins through and lands behind him. Jason walks towards Chad and Lucas pushes Chad at Jason and Jason turns and throws him over the top rope. Chad holds on and then slowly skins the cat back in as Lucas nails Jason with a hard right. He then scoops him up and hits a backbreaker.

Dawson: “Lucas Knight takes Jason Zero down with a backbreaker and also got Chad Evans eliminated.”

Knots: “And Chad I think saw that. Lucas! Look out!”

Lucas turns to Chad and Chad nails him with a hard right and then another before pushing him into the corner. He then chops him in the chest before reaching forward and driving his fingers into the eyes of Lucas. Lucas yells in pain and he, being as dirty as Chad, reaches forward and places his fingers into the eyes of Chad. Chad yells and they both walk out of the corner and Dillusion suddenly takes them both down with a clothesline. He then turns around and Masquerade suddenly lifts Dillusion up from behind and drops him right on his head with the Skeleton Key. The crowd ohs and Jerry shifts a bit on Dillusion’s head, but still remains attached. Masquerade then rolls over as David Helms turns and jumps up and nails him with a spin kick to the jaw. Jamal Evans starts to stir as the countdown clock returns. David drops down and then looks over and sees Shilo Valiant starting to get up. David Helms walks over to him and nails him with a hard right before starting to lift him up against the ropes. The buzzer sounds and “The Name of the Game” plays throughout the arena. The crowd roars as Brayden Walker runs out from the back. He runs down to the ring and slides in. He then looks around and Jamal Evans starts and Brayden quickly nails him with a hard right and then a discus clothesline.

Sharper: “One half of the former Tag Team Champions. Brayden Walker has entered.”

Dawson: “Yeah and you have to think he may target Karnivale a bit after what happened earlier.”

Knots: “He talks about respect. Will he hold a grudge? He’s human, so probably!”

Brayden looks around and he runs over and helps Helms with Shilo Valiant. Valiant flips over and lands on the apron. He quickly nails Helms with a hard right and then dives into the ring. Walker quickly turns and stomps him in the back of the head. Chad Evans and Lucas start to stir. Chad turns and goes over and sees Jason Zero getting up. He grabs Jason Zero and nails him with a hard right, but Zero nails him with a jab to the ribs. He then nails him again and hits a European uppercut. Chad staggers back and Zero then pushes back and starts to lift Evans up. Lucas surprising walks over and helps Zero in eliminating God himself. Brayden meanwhile DDTs Shilo before rolling around. Helms starts to stir and Brayden turns and he chops him. He then nails him with a hard right and starts to lift him up. Jamal Evans stumbles over and clubs Brayden in the back. He then quickly takes him over with a fireman’s carry and then knees him in the back.

Dawson: “The ring is filling up. A lot of people in there. Nine people to be exact.”

Sharper: “Almost one third of the field. Bodies are soon going to have to start going. People aren’t going to be able to watch themselves forever.”

Brayden winces and Masquerade starts to stir as well. Jamal lifts Brayden up and whips him over to the far corner. He then turns and nails Helms and knees him in the ribs. He then goes to nail him, but Helms grabs him and spins him around. He then nails him with several hard right hands to the jaw. Jamal starts to look dazed as Chad starts to kick Lucas in the head and Lucas stumbles back. Zero loses his grip and Chad drops down and nails Zero with a hard right and then another and Lucas turns and drives his shoulder into the ribs of Chad. Chad drops down to his knees. Masquerade meanwhile sees Brayden in the corner. He turns and runs at him, but Brayden lowers his head and lifts Masquerade up and over the ringpost and Masquerade drops down, but shockingly lands on the steel steps. The crowd cheers and Masquerade quickly runs back onto the apron.

Knots: “Hey! He’s out! Masq is out!”

Dawson: “No! He’s not! He landed on the steel steps!”

Sharper: “Oh! What a lucky break, but a good catch by the officials and good thinking by Masquerade!”

Brayden walks forward and Masquerade then springboards to the top rope before diving forward and hitting a diving side effect on Brayden. Masquerade rolls through before Shilo nails Helms from behind. He then grabs Helms by the head and jumps up, kicking off of Jamal Evans’ chest and flips back into the Boulevard of Broken Dreams. The crowd ohs and Evans falls back and lands hard head first into Helms’ jewels. Shilo just gets up and shrugs. Masquerade then taps him on the back and Shilo turns around ready to fight before smiling. They then see Lucas and Chad battling and the run over and grab Lucas and Chad and try to lift both of them over, but Lucas and Chad both start to hold on and resist as the countdown clock returns. The crowd roars as both Chad and Lucas continue to resist. Jason Zero then aids them and Chad flips right over. He lands on the apron and rolls back in. Masquerade turns and goes after him as Zero helps Shilo with Lucas. Lucas lets out a yell of desperation and he rolls onto the apron. Shilo nails him with a hard right as Zero turns around and Jamal Evans gets up and clotheslines him down as the buzzer goes. The lights then go out before the opening strums of “Fade to Black” start to play throughout the arena. The crowd erupts into awesome cheers for the arrival of SCW’s Executioner!

Sharper: “Oh my God! Here we go! Time for judge, jury and executioner!”

Knots: “THIS is my favourite! I’ve decided! I’m sticking with it!”

Dawson: “There’s only one man who is known as the Executioner and it’s Xander Valentine!”

Xander Valentine walks out from the back as the cheers continue. Chad turns his head and Masquerade quickly nails him with a hard right before starting to lift him up onto the ropes. Xander Valentine makes his way down and Dillusion crawls out of the middle of the ring smiling. He then turns and sees Jamal Evans quickly clubs him in the back. Xander then reaches the ring and pulls himself onto the apron. He then enters the ring and Dillusion pushes Jamal Evans into Xander. Xander just grabs him with a double handed choke before turning and just throwing him up and over the top rope and to the floor. Xander then turns and sees Brayden Walker and lifts him up before scooping him up and dropping him with a sidewalk slam. Dillusion scurries over and grabs Helms and lifts him up. He then turns and whips him at Xander Valentine and Valentine just lifts him up over his head with a military press. Jamal Evans starts to get up and Valentine turns and throws him at Jamal. Jamal falls back and the crowd roars.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine! Two men out by him!”

Knots: “But he’s getting helped by that idiot Dillusion!”

Sharper: “Former allies there! New Blood Rebellion and Dillusion idolized Xander Valentine!”

Dawson: “And he’s right now looking to rekindle that relationship!”

Jamal and Helms start to get up and Jamal just shoves Helms. Helms just looks at him before nailing him with a hard right in retaliation. Masquerade continues to battle with Chad as Lucas re-enters the ring and is attacked by Shilo. Jason walks around and goes over to aid Masquerade with Chad as Dillusion grabs Brayden and hoists him up. Brayden however nails Dillusion with a hard right before throwing him into the corner. Dillusion falls down to a seated position but Brayden turns around and Xander kicks him in the ribs. He then bends Brayden over and double underhooks him before hoisting him up and throwing him over the top rope with a powerbomb into Helms and Jamal Evans! The crowd roars as all three roll away from each other. Xander backs up and Dillusion suddenly pulls himself up and slides in front of Xander, dropping down to his knees with his hands clasped and a huge smile on his face. Xander just looks at Dillusion and Dillusion then stands up and extends his hand. Xander just looks down at Dillusion before Xander suddenly drills him in the head with a boot and Dillusion goes up and over the top rope and to the floor, being eliminated too. Jerry falls off his head into the ring and Xander just grabs it and tosses it out too.

Knots: “Xander just eliminated that idiot and Jerry too!”

Sharper: “Oh no! Not Jerry....”

Dawson: “Xander Valentine has just cleared the ring of half of the people that were in there!”

Chad meanwhile rakes the eyes of Masquerade and then Zero before standing up and looking at Xander as the countdown begins. Xander turns around and Chad just looks at him as Xander glares at him too. The crowd starts to roar as Xander and Chad lock eyes. The buzzer meanwhile goes and “Hero” begins to play. The crowd roars as Aaron Rupp starts to jog down from the back. Shilo meanwhile continues to battle with Lucas as Lucas manages to hit a standing switch and knees Shilo in the ribs before starting to lift him up. Xander and Chad continue to lock eyes. Rupp enters the ring and he jumps up and nails Xander in the back of the head. Xander falls over and Rupp nails him again. He then turns and nails Chad as Chad runs over. Rupp then takes Chad over with a gutwrench suplex.

Dawson: “Aaron Rupp entering the ring and going after both Xander and Chad. The kid has heart.”

Knots: “Damn it! The moron screwed everything up. I was hoping to see God finally execute the Executioner.”

Rupp gets back up as Lucas continues to battle with Shilo. Rupp kicks Masquerade in the ribs and nails Zero with a hard right. He then turns and grabs Masquerade and pulls him into the corner. Rupp climbs up to the middle rope and nails Masquerade with several hard right hands to the head. Xander starts to get back up and Zero staggers forward and nails Xander with a hard right before pushing him into the ropes. Zero starts to lift Xander up as Chad starts to glare at Rupp. He gets up as Rupp nails him a few more times and then jumps down. He turns around and Chad kicks him hard between the legs. The crowd ohs and Rupp topples over, down to his knees. Chad then hooks the head and arm of Rupp before looking out and then hoisting him up before turning and throwing Rupp over the top rope and letting him go in a variation front suplex. Rupp falls down and lands hard face and chest first into the mats around ringside as the crowd ohs. Chad then walks back, still glaring at Rupp.

Sharper: “Chad Evans throws Aaron Rupp out and no doubt, he was not pleased with Rupp interjection earlier.”

Dawson: “Yeah and Rupp may be regretting it too. He’s still down.”

Knots: “I think he landed face first! Chad just threw him over hard and Rupp couldn’t break his fall.”

Sharper: “Officials checking on him. He may be in a bad way. Meanwhile, Shilo keeps fighting with Lucas as Lucas still trying to get him up and over!”

Masquerade runs out of the corner and nails Chad with a hard right. Chad stumbles back to the ropes. Masquerade then runs over and starts to lift Chad up. The crowd roars and Shilo is flipped over the top rope, but lands on the apron. Lucas looks up and Shilo nails him quickly with a couple of right hands before diving back into the ring. He gets back up and Lucas nails him from behind. Knight then turns and runs over and kicks Masquerade in the back. Chad drops back down and Knight grabs Masquerade and drags him over before throwing him into Shilo. Shilo however stops him and Knight then sees this before running at both members of Karnivale only for them both to backdrop him over. The crowd roars. Chad meanwhile staggers over and clubs Zero in the back. Xander falls back into the ring and Chad then nails Zero with a hard European uppercut, knocking him back into the corner. A couple other officials meanwhile run around and go and check on Rupp.

Dawson: “Chad saving Xander Valentine but I doubt that’s for sincere purposes.”

Sharper: “Meanwhile, we still have Rupp out here and officials are trying to help him out to the back. He’s in a bad way.”

The countdown clock returns and Chad walks back to the middle of the ring. He tells Xander to come at him. Xander just looks up and smirks as the crowd starts to roar again. Shilo and Masquerade meanwhile both grab Lucas and turn and throw him into the corner before following up. The buzzer goes off and “Open Your Eyes” plays throughout the arena. The crowd starts to boo with a few catcalls coming out as Ravyn Taylor walks out from the back. She just takes few steps and stands in the entrance way and stops. Xander meanwhile moves towards Chad and swings and Chad ducks. Both men spin around and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Chad then turns and backs up a bit before running at Xander and Xander gets a back elbow up. Chad staggers back and Xander moves forward and drills Chad with a Yakuza kick. The crowd cheers. Ravyn meanwhile just remains in the entrance way.

Dawson: “Xander and Chad finally going at it and God himself is dropped.”

Sharper: “Not the outcome he wanted. But at least he’s still in the ring.”

Knots: “Yeah and speaking of in the ring, Ravyn Taylor, she’s just standing outside. This is brilliant. She’s just waiting!”

Sharper: “Can’t be eliminated if you don’t enter the ring, but it may lead to a headache as those officials are going to do all they can to get her in there.”

Chad slowly stirs as Zero walks out and runs at Xander and nails him in the back of the head with a hard clothesline. Xander stumbles forward and goes nearly over the ropes, just stopping himself with his arms. Zero continues to push Xander over and Xander slowly flips over and lands on the apron. Chad then gets up and runs over at Zero as the crowd roars. He kicks Zero in the ribs and then turn and whips him across the ring into the far corner. Chad then turns and runs after him and Zero jerks forward and dropkicks Chad in the knees, knocking him forward and face first into the middle turnbuckle. The crowd cheers. Rupp meanwhile is finally helped around ringside, but with the aid of two officials. Lucas kicks Shilo in the head and drops down. He then nails Masquerade with a hard right and Masquerade staggers back. Lucas then turns and looks at Masquerade and drills him with a hard falling clothesline. Lucas then gets back up and Shilo turns back and starts to go after him and Lucas pokes Shilo’s eye. Lucas then backs away and takes a minute break. Xander meanwhile starts to get back up. Ravyn finally gets to the ring, but she remains on the floor, walking around the ring before grabbing a seat next to the timekeeper and sitting down.

Dawson: “Ravyn Taylor still on the floor. Xander Valentine having a bit of a scare.”

Sharper: “And the ring is somewhat filling up again. Six people in there and they’re battling for their careers at the moment!”

Knots: “A-hem! Seven. Ravyn’s however employing a strategy!”

Ravyn just watches and Zero gets up and Xander scoops him up and then turns and goes to throw him over the top rope with a release fallaway slam. The crowd roars and Zero goes over the top rope, but holds onto it as well and swings himself back onto the apron. He then re-enters the ring. Xander turns around and Zero gets back up and Xander kicks him in the ribs. Xander drags him back before throwing him over into the ropes. Xander walks over after him and Zero suddenly nails him with a hard right. Shilo then runs over and clubs Xander in the back. He clubs him again. Shilo then tells Zero he’ll hold Xander. Zero smirks before turning back and bouncing off the ropes and Xander moves out of the way and Zero clotheslines Shilo down. Zero turns around and Xander nails him with a boot as the countdown clock returns. Xander walks around and Lucas suddenly runs out of the corner and jumps up, taking Xander down with a Lou Thesz press. He hammers away at him as the crowd roars. Masquerade holds onto the ropes as Lucas pulls himself up. He then stomps Xander in the ribs. He turns and grabs him and starts to lift him up. He then places him on the ropes before trying to lift him up. The buzzer goes and “Until the Whole World Hears” plays throughout the arena. The crowd cheers a bit as Chris Lawler jogs out from the back. He then runs in and Lawler looks around.

Dawson: “Chris Lawler is number nineteen and he’s got a lot of experience in the battle royal.”

Sharper: “Maybe this is his year. Who knows?”

Knots: “No. It’s not. It’s Xander’s....or Chad’s....or Lucas’....or Karnivale’s!”

Shilo walks forward and Lawler grabs him by the neck. He then hoists him up and chokeslams him down. He then turns around and Chad goes to run over to Lucas, but Lawler cuts him off with a boot to the face. Lawler sees Zero and grabs him. He then drags him up and drops him with a DDT. Masquerade starts to get up and Lawler turns and grabs him by the throat. He then hoists him up and throws him down with a chokeslam of his own. He then sees Lucas trying to get rid of Xander and runs over and goes to help the new Underground Champion. Lucas keeps pushing up and Lawler starts to lift him up as Xander continues to hold on. Xander starts to stir and rolls over slowly only to quickly drops down to his feet. Lawler grabs Xander, but Xander nails him with a back elbow and Lawler staggers back. Lucas meanwhile kicks Xander in the ribs. Xander falls back into the corner and Lucas keeps going after him.

Sharper: “Xander fighting for everything its worth. He’s nearly won this match several times in the past.”

Knots: “But close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Just ask Donovan Kayl about that.”

Zero starts to stir as does Evans. Lawler turns and sees Chad and grabs him before lifting him up and Chad nails him in the ribs. He then nails him with a hard uppercut. Lawler stumbles back. Chad then turns and runs at Lawler but Lawler lifts him up over his head for a press slam, but the crowd meanwhile roars as we see Master Roboto jogging down to the ring, with Sketch Retro sliding into it. He then runs over and chopblocks the leg of Lawler. Chad falls hard in the ring and Lawler rolls over, holding his knee. He gets up and Sketch Retro quickly kicks him in the ribs and then chops him in the chest. He grabs Chris and then jumps up and wraps his legs around his head and attempts a hurricanrana to send Lawler over the top rope, but Lawler holds on. Sketch gets back up and runs at Lawler, but Lawler lifts him up and throws him over the top rope for good measure. Lawler turns around, looking shocked before suddenly, Zero runs over and grabs Lawler, lifting him up and over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd boos faintly and Lawler looks around as Sketch gets back up and quickly scurries off.

Dawson: “Sketch Retro! Out of the blue! He’s just cost Lawler the battle royal!”

Knots: “Wow! The little guy keeps a grudge.”

Sharper: “Almost two years since Lawler attacked, well, then Loki....but Lawler’s not even the same person as he was then. What in the world?”

Lawler gets up and starts to storm around the ring, heading after Retro as Retro and Roboto make their retreat. Zero turns around and Chad suddenly clotheslines him up and over. Zero however lands on the apron. Zero quickly grabs the bottom rope and Chad sticks his foot through the ropes and starts to choke Zero with it. Zero holds on as best as he can as Chad keeps pressing down. The crowd starts to roar as Zero keeps holding on for everything its worth. Lucas continues to battle with Xander as the countdown returns. Shilo and Masquerade both get up slowly, holding the back of their heads as Ravyn smirks at ringside. The buzzer goes off and “Naturally” plays throughout the arena and the crowd cheers a bit as Marcy LaRue runs down from the back. She slides into the ring and gets up. She quickly nails Shilo with a sliding elbow drop and then runs over and grabs Chad and tries to lift him up and over. Zero takes this moment to pull himself back into the ring and Chad struggles to hold on. The crowd starts to erupt in cheers, feeling that a rookie may eliminate Chad Evans!

Sharper: “Marcy LaRue! She’s trying to eliminate God himself! What a shocker this would be!”

Knots: “Hold on Chad! Don’t let her do it! After all of the stuff her and her brother have pulled on Travis Daniels! You can falter to them too!”

Chad holds on some more and Zero then gets up and starts to help Marcy with Chad. The crowd cheers more and Chad falls over and onto the apron. He then quickly manages to roll back in. Lucas struggles with Xander and Masquerade walks over and nails Lucas in the back. Lucas stumbles over and Masquerade nails him with a hard right. Lucas falls over into the corner and then kicks Masquerade in the ribs. He spins Masquerade around and then turns and whips him across the ring. Masquerade however runs up the turnbuckle and turns and flips in the air before taking Zero down with a blockbuster. The crowd ohs and Masquerade gets back up and Marcy quickly jumps up and dropkicks him, knocking him back. Lucas then runs forward and nails him with a vicious clothesline. Shilo starts to pull himself up as Xander walks back towards the middle of the ring. Chad gets up and runs at Marcy before pushing her over and then nailing Xander with a hard right. Marcy turns around and Shilo then runs up from behind and bulldogs her down.

Dawson: “Things are picking up again. We have Lucas and Masquerade in one area. Chad has finally gotten his hands on Xander Valentine a bit.”

Knots: “Yeah. That’s what he wants. But he wants to eliminate him more than anything. This is Chad’s night.”

Sharper: “Regardless, Jason Zero is still in there. He’s nearly at the fourty minute mark.”

Knots: “Well Ravyn is almost at the six minutes sitting mark!”

Shilo turns and grabs Marcy. Marcy winces and Shilo turns and scoops her up and then places her on the nearby top turnbuckle and starts to try and push her over. Chad nails Xander with a kick to the ribs and then turns and throws him face first into the top turnbuckle. Chad then buries his shoulder into the ribs of Xander repeatedly. Marcy keeps struggling as Masquerade stirs only for Lucas to grab him and throw him around and into the corner. He then walks over and joins Chad, but Chad lifts his head and turns and nails Lucas with a hard right, knocking him back. Lucas gets up and walks back over to Chad and Chad turns and drops him with a hard clothesline. Chad gets up and snaps at Lucas before turning around and Xander grabs him by the throat before turning and throwing him into the corner. He then nails him with a hard right and then a left followed by another right and then booting him in the face. Chad just drops down to the mat as the countdown clock returns. Xander winces and walks around the ring. Lucas slowly pulls himself up and Xander grabs him and hits a headbutt. The buzzer goes and “Blood on my Hands” plays as Travis Daniels jogs out from the back. He smirks as he then immediately slides into the ring and goes over to Shilo and Marcy and nails Shilo in the back. He spins him around and nails him with a hard right.

Sharper: “Travis Daniels! Number twenty-one. And we’re starting to get into the home stretch.”

Dawson: “And Daniels has had his problems lately with the LaRue’s and he’s now going after Shilo.”

Knots: “I think he wants to get Marcy out of there. Revenge. You know!”

Sharper: “Well of course.”

Shilo stumbles away and Marcy drops down to the mat and Daniels nails her with a hard right. Marcy tries to cover up but Daniels kicks him in the ribs. He then snapmares her over and then dropkicks her in the back of the head. Xander grabs Shilo and scoops him up before dropping him with a sidewalk slam. Xander then turns around and Masquerade jumps off the middle rope and nails him in the side of the head with a spin kick to the head. Xander falls over as the crowd ohs. Masquerade then gets up and Lucas suddenly runs up from behind and tries to throw him up and over the top rope, but Masquerade goes over. He then holds on and skins the cat, but Lucas turns back and goes to grab him, but Masquerade puts his legs around his head. He then pulls him over and Lucas falls onto the apron. Masquerade gets up and Masquerade nails Lucas with a hard right and hops back into the ring. Travis Daniels sees this and runs over and Lucas quickly nails him with a hard right. He then dives back in as Travis turns back to Marcy and Marcy hoists him up and drops him on the top rope with a hot shot. Travis falls back, holding his throat in pain.

Sharper: “Travis Daniels just got a bit overzealous there and paid for it.”

Dawson: “But thinking about how long some people have been in there. Lucas Knight and his blood-loss. Jason Zero is still in there. Even Chad Evans and Karnivale. They’re getting over to nearly a half hour or higher.”

Marcy walks out of the corner as Chad starts to get up. Masquerade nails Lucas with a hard right and then turns and places him on the nearby top rope. He tries to start lifting him up but, again, with little success. Marcy kicks Chad Evans in the chest and then looks around before starting to just choke him. Travis Daniels starts to stir as does Zero. Daniels gets up as Shilo rolls over a bit. Daniels walks over and grabs Shilo and hoists him up and nails him with a hard right. He then kicks him in the ribs before lifting him up and hitting an inverted atomic drop. Shilo winces and falls over to the ropes. Daniels walks after him and starts to hoist him up. Shilo holds on for dear life. Marcy meanwhile gets up and grabs Chad and starts to lift him up. Zero gets up and walks over to Masquerade and starts to try and lift him up, but Masq lets go of Lucas and turns, kneeing Zero in the head. Masquerade the runs at Zero only for Zero to powerslam him down. The crowd roars and the camera turns back to Ravyn Taylor.

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor still here at ringside just watching. She is officially entered.”

Dawson: “We heard what she said earlier. She hates CHBK and this is putting it to him. Imagine if Ravyn Taylor or any Dark Triad member is headlining Rise to Greatness.”

Sharper: “Hell of an opportunity if you ask me!”

Lucas walks over and Zero gets up and Lucas nails him with a hard right before Zero nails him with one of his own. The two battle as Chad continues to fight with Marcy and Shilo holds on with Daniels pushing up. The countdown clock returns and Lucas and Zero push each other into the corner. Zero surprisingly hits the eye rake and Lucas stumbles back. Xander starts to pull himself up and Chad pokes Marcy in the eye. She turns around and Chad drops down. He then grabs Marcy and pulls her in for a short-arm clothesline. He then turns and runs at Zero and knees him in the back. The buzzer goes and “We Won’t Back Down” plays throughout the arena. The crowd roars as Harmony Fisher runs down from the back. She jogs down and looks into the ring as the camera catches Ravyn rolling her eyes. She slides into the ring and then gets up and sees Xander Valentine starting to get up. She smiles and the crowd starts to cheer as Harmony gets her hands up in front of Xander.

Knots: “What is this crazy girl doing!”

Dawson: “Harmony Fisher, trained by David Helms and Thorn. And she’s looking to go face to face, head to head, with Xander Valentine!”

Knots: “She’s nuts!”

Xander looks up and Harmony moves forward and hits a 1-2 combo on Xander. Xander winces and Harmony nails him again. Xander pushes her away. Harmony falls back and bounces off the ropes and nails Xander with a lunging forearm. Xander staggers back and Harmony nails him again. She then turns around and runs into the ropes behind her. She bounces off them and Xander ducks a clothesline attempt before grabbing her from behind and locking in the Fade to Black. The crowd erupts in cheers as Harmony flails around, struggling to find the ropes. Chad starts to lift Zero up. Zero holds on and Lucas doesn’t even both helping Chad up, instead going over and clubbing Xander in the back. Xander lets go of Harmony and throws her down and Lucas then hoists him up and back suplexes him down.

Sharper: “Oh my! Xander Valentine had Harmony Fisher locked in and Lucas is her unlikely saviour.”

Knots: “Not the brightest of moves! What the hell was she thinking?”

Masquerade starts to slowly get up and Shilo nails Travis with a kick to the head and then another. Daniels staggers back and Shilo drops down. Travis backs up and looks at Shilo and Travis runs at Shilo and Shilo lifts him up and Travis spins through and lands on the apron. He smirks and Shilo suddenly jumps up and hits an enziguri kick to the side of Travis’ head and he falls over and down to the ground. The crowd cheers and Shilo gets up and smiles. Harmony Fisher starts to get up and Shilo turns and starts to go after her and nails her in the ribs with a hard right. Masquerade starts to get up and Shilo yells at him. Masquerade smirks as Shilo throws her into him. Masquerade lifts her up and Shilo turns and runs into the ropes on the other side before hitting a running hart attack on Harmony. Masquerade rolls over and gets back up. Shilo and him then look around and Lucas Knight suddenly grabs Shilo and spins him around. Zero fights off Chad and lands down and stumbles around. Masquerade goes over to Lucas and clubs him in the back. He then hoists him up, but Lucas lands behind him. He then turns around and Zero chops him in the chest. He winces and Zero chops him again. Marcy starts to get up as Shilo and Masquerade wince and look to Chad. Chad turns and Shilo kicks him in the ribs and Masquerade and Shilo starts to work on God himself. Marcy looks around and sees Harmony down and scoops her up before dragging her over to the ropes. Zero meanwhile chops Lucas a third time, knocking him down.

Sharper: “Brawling happening all over. Again. The ring starting to fill up with people. And at some point, we’re going to have a few more people heading out.”

Dawson: “I’m still shocked at how long some people are still in there. Ravyn’s been sitting for about ten minutes. But Jason Zero almost forty-five minutes. Lucas Knight after that brawl has been in there for about half an hour.”

Sharper: “Shilo Valiant and Masquerade. After the ladder match. They’re getting up to thirty minutes plus too.”

Knots: “Yeah, but with what? – eight more left – this match could change drastically.”

The countdown clock comes up and Lucas gets back up and Zero grabs him and quickly hooks him up and throws him back with a release fisherman’s suplex. Marcy starts to lift Harmony up and she holds on. Zero looks around and sees Shilo and Masquerade working on Chad. He goes over and aids them as the buzzer goes off and “Violence Fetish” starts to blare throughout the arena. The crowd starts to boo vociferously as Drew Weilacher walks down from the back before starting to pick up the pace. He slides into the ring and Xander starts to stir only for Weilacher to stomp him in the head. Xander rolls over and Drew then looks around and clubs Marcy in the back. Harmony drops back down and Drew looks around before seeing the group working on Chad. He goes over and clubs Shilo in the back of the head before just throwing him down. Jason Zero turns and Drew kicks him in the ribs before he clubs Masquerade in the chest. Drew then grabs Chad and throws him away from the ropes and he rolls over and winces.

Sharper: “The angry, the violent, Drew Weilacher is out here and he’s just attacking everyone.”

Dawson: “He’s manhandling everyone! That’s what he’s doing!”

Chad starts to get back up and Drew walks over and grabs Chad and lifts him up before spearing him into the corner. Chad winces and falls back over and Drew turns around and runs over and sees Karnivale getting back up. He nails Shilo with a hard right, knocking him back before throwing Masquerade into the ropes. He bounces off the ropes and Drew turns and goes to throw him out, but Masquerade just runs into the ropes, holding on before rolling back to the mat. Drew walks forward and looks around and Harmony Fisher and Marcy LaRue are back up. He look over at Drew and Drew just smirks before Harmony just rears back and drills him with a hard forearm. Drew staggers and swings and Marcy runs forward and spears Drew back into the ropes. Harmony and Marcy start to hoist him up and we then see Jason Zero run over and help them dump Drew Weilacher up and over to the floor. Drew falls over and smacks the canvas in anger. Harmony turns around and suddenly, we see Lucas Knight run over and drill Harmony with a hard clothesline, knocking her up and over and to the floor herself.

Sharper: “Drew first...then Harmony!”

Dawson: “And here comes LaRue!”

Knots: “Oh my!”

Marcy turns around and Zero suddenly grabs her and starts to lift her over. We then see Masquerade and Shilo run over and help Zero as Marcy struggles to grab the ropes and push back and just goes up and over and lands on the floor before falling back. She looks around in anger as the crowd cheers. Zero turns around and immediately Shilo grabs him and sets him up for the Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Zero however pushes him off and Masquerade suddenly kicks him in the ribs before placing his head between his legs. He hoists him up and just powerbombs the former seven time champion. Xander comes back in as does Chad who nails Lucas in the head, knocking him back. The countdown clock returns and Xander grabs Shilo and throws him over into the corner. Shilo quickly blocks and attack and chops Xander in the chest, trying to come out of the corner. Xander however catches a knee before Shilo can be too successful. The buzzer goes and the crowd roars before booing as “Light’s Out” plays throughout the arena. Ravyn smiles at ringside as Brittany Lohan runs down from the back. Ravyn finally moves towards the ring as Xander starts to lift Shilo up. Chad focuses on Lucas as Masquerade turns and just waits in the middle of the ring for Lohan, but Lohan slides in. She then gets up and smirks before running at Masquerade and Ravyn comes from behind, with the duo hitting the High-Low on Masquerade.

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor finally enters and Dark Triad has two of three of their members in the ring and Masquerade is the first to feel their presence.”

Knots: “Smart move by Ravyn. Wait until you have a friend in there!”

Dawson: “And this may change things drastically and we also know that Syren is still to enter.”

Masquerade rolls over slowly and Ravyn and Lohan get up and they go after Chad Evans. Both women grab Chad by the hair and throw him back. Chad rolls over and starts to get up before looking up at both of them and smiling. Lucas just feels a bit relieved before Lohan nails Chad in the head with a hard forearm. Chad staggers back and Ravyn nails him with a hard right followed by Lohan striking him. Both then kick Chad in the ribs before dropping him with a DDT. They look back and Lucas just nods at them before he grabs Chad and lifts him up and throws him into the ropes, hoping to lift him up and over. Ravyn and Lohan meanwhile turn and go to Xander before both grab him and pull him away before both nail him with hard rights. Xander then nails Ravyn, knocking her down. He tries to hit Lohan, but Lohan blocks it before reaching up and grabbing Xander by the throat with the From California with Love. The crowd roars as Xander struggles to get it off.

Dawson: “Lohan has the From California with Love on Xander Valentine!”

Knots: “Come on! Take him down! TAKE HIM DOWN!”

Sharper: “And Xander’s fading!”

Xander falls to a knee and Lohan keeps the hold on and suddenly Shilo breaks it up with a kick to the side of the head. Lohan falls over and Ravyn then gets up and grabs Shilo from behind and pulls him down with a reverse DDT. The crowd ohs and Ravyn then gets up and walks around. She then dropkicks Xander in the head and Xander falls back to the ropes. The crowd starts to roar as Ravyn jumps up and dropkicks Xander in the head again. Xander nearly goes over. Ravyn then gets up and turns around before running across the ring, but she bounces off and Zero drills her with a Chao Theory off the rebound and the crowd ohs. Zero then rolls over and slowly gets up. Lohan gets up and turns around only for Xander to grab her by the hair and lift her up, placing her on the ropes and trying to get her out. Chad continues to struggle, nearly going out, but he holds on and falls back into the ring. Lucas then nails him with a hard right. Chad walks along the ropes and goes over to the other corner.

Dawson: “Oh man! And we’re just about to get another person in.”

Sharper: “So much happening. So many people trying to get their opportunity to headline Rise to Greatness. This is what everyone wants.”

Lucas follows him and Chad rakes the eyes. He then spins around him and lifts him up before hitting a spinning German suplex, throwing Lucas Knight down. Chad rolls over, holding his head in pain as the countdown clock returns. He slowly gets up and Zero grabs him and knees him in the ribs starting to push him towards the ropes. Masquerade gets up and joins him. The buzzer goes off and “Life is a Lemon (I Want My Money Back) remix” plays throughout the arena. The crowd buzzes as we see newcomer Dylan Cole running down from the back. He runs towards the ring and jumps onto the apron. He then nails Xander with a hard right before grabbing Lohan pushing her down onto the apron. He then enters the ring and nails Lohan with a hard right. Lohan nearly falls over, but holds on. Cole goes to nail her again, but Lohan blocks it and headbutts Cole. Cole stumbles back, falling to a knee. Lohan then enters the ring and runs forward only for Cole to hoist her up and drop her with the Revolt. The crowd ohs and Cole hops up and sees Xander before running over to him and nailing him with a hard right and then another.

Dawson: “Dylan Cole, the newcomer, just planted Brittany Lohan.”

Sharper: “But he’s get a head on him. He started his attack from the apron. But I don’t agree with him going after Xander to start off.”

Knots: “Why not? Go for the biggest dog. That’s Chad, but he can pretend it’s Xander if it helps!”

Cole then kicks him in the ribs and goes to fire him across the ring. Xander bounces off the ropes and Cole lifts him up and hits the Revolt on Xander. The crowd ohs and Cole gets up and immediately taunts the crowd, getting boos. He looks around before seeing Chad struggling with Zero and Masquerade. Cole turns and then goes over to Shilo as Shilo stirs. He kicks him in the ribs and then nails him with a hard right. Cole then turns and goes to whip him across the ring into the corner. Cole turns and runs after him and Shilo gets his elbow up. Cole stumbles back and Shilo turns and jumps to the middle rope before diving back and taking him down with a moonsault. The crowd cheers as Shilo rolls over and gets back up.

Sharper: “Great moonsault by Shilo. Note that he only went to the middle rope. You don’t want to take too much of a chance.”

Knots: “Yeah, but you still need eyes in the back of your head there.”

Shilo turns and grabs Cole and starts to hoist him up. Ravyn continues to stir as Lucas gets up and then runs over and nails Shilo in the back. He pulls him back and then hits the Hail Brittania on him. The crowd ohs as Shilo rolls over, holding his head in pain. Cole turns and nails Lucas with a hard right. He nails him with another and then goes to fire Lucas into the ropes, but Lucas spins through and Cole bounces off the ropes and Lucas nails him with a Yakuza kick. Cole goes up and over the top rope, but lands on the apron. He immediately dives back into the ring and gets up and Lucas DDTs him. The crowd ohs and Lucas turns around and just shakes his head. The countdown clock shows up in the bottom corner. Lucas then turns as Chad manages to fall onto the apron, but grabs Zero, starting to lift him over. The crowd starts to roar and Masquerade turns and tries to eliminate Zero. Zero goes over and ends up hanging, just barely avoiding touching the floor before swinging back up. Chad gets up and Masquerade nails him before nailing Zero and the buzzer goes off. “Groupie” plays throughout the arena and the crowd roars before a mixture of boos and catcalls are heard as Syren starts to make her way out from the back with the Women’s Championship. She then stops and looks around before looking at her title. She then jumps up and down in frustration before turning around and walking back to the back.

Sharper: “Uh...alright.”

Dawson: “Well she had her title with her.”

Knots: “I don’t care. She’s hot!”

Sharper: “Well Syren is next by what I’m being told. I don’t know why she just turned around and left!”

Masquerade goes to nail Zero again, but Lucas cuts him off and nails him. Zero nearly falls off again before swinging around. Chad then nails Masquerade and slingshots himself back into the ring. He then grabs Masquerade and pulls him down with a reverse STO. Lucas keeps trying to eliminate Zero before the camera turns back and we see Syren now jogging back out without her title. She’s now smiling as she runs down and slides into the ring. She gets up and Ravyn gets up and Syren goes over to her. Ravyn just motions to her to go off before Syren just runs over to Lohan. Lohan starts to stir and Ravyn then gets up and turns Syren around before telling her to start to go after people.

Dawson: “Syren clearly showing she read the manual before coming out here.”

Sharper: “Don’t say that. She may think there’s one when she rewatches this match.”

Knots: “Stop it! This is horrible that you’re getting on her case. She’s probably just nervous.”

Sharper: “I would hope so. Either that or she’s clueless. I thought you’d like that in girls, Jon.”

Knots: “I do...wait....shut up!”

Syren and Ravyn then move forward and club Chad in the back. They both then grab Chad and hoist him up and vertical suplex him over. Zero manages to hit an errant kick to the head of Lucas and dives back into the ring. He then gets up and grabs Lucas before spinning him around and nailing him with a chop and then another. Ravyn and Syren then go over and grab newcomer Dylan Cole. Lohan starts to get up and Ravyn yells back to Lohan. Lohan turns and smirks and Ravyn and Syren then both grab Cole and whip him towards Lohan. Lohan lowers her head and back drops Cole up and over to the floor. Cole’s eliminated as the crowd roars and Syren jumps up and down, happy. Lohan then nods and tells Ravyn and siren to keep it coming. Ravyn and Syren then turn and see Shilo Valiant and start to lift him up.

Sharper: “Dark Triad may have a bit of a winning formula here. There are three of them. They can start to widdle the field down.”

Knots: “Yeah. Syren and Ravyn throw them into Lohan and Lohan muscles them up and over. That sounds like a fun party if you’re Dark Triad!”

Dawson: “Technically another friendly person in there in Lucas Knight too. This is looking back for the rest of the field.”

Ravyn nails Shilo with a hard right and Syren just shrugs and nails him with a forearm. The two then push him against the ropes before turning and whipping him towards Lohan. Shilo however jumps up and hits a crossbody on Lohan, knocking her up and over as the countdown clock returns. Shilo holds onto the ropes, and uses his body to prevent Lohan from grabbing hold and Lohan falls to the floor. The crowd cheers and Shilo then gets up and rolls back into the ring. Ravyn and Syren run over as Zero tries to get rid of Lucas Knight. Chad meanwhile goes over and works on Xander as the buzzer sounds and the sound of Katie Steward laughing is heard before “My Addiction” plays throughout the arena. The crowd boos loudly as Katie Steward comes out from the back with TJ Johnson. She takes off her attire along the way and hands it off to TJ before TJ returns to the back. Katie runs down as Syren and Ravyn continue to work on Shilo against the ropes.

Sharper: “Katie Steward. Number twenty-seven on her way down.”

Knots: “Thank God TJ isn’t joining us. I have enough stupidity coming from both of you!”

Dawson: “Think of the history she has here with almost everyone in the ring!”

Knots: “And she comes in just after Brittany Lohan was thrown out. Is this some horrible joke?!”

Katie slides in and she immediately goes over to Syren and Ravyn and start to lift them up. Syren manages to hold on, while Ravyn goes up and over and lands on the apron. Syren quickly hits a back elbow to Katie and Syren then turns and nails her with a hard right and then another as Ravyn gets back into the ring. Ravyn goes to help Syren, but Shilo grabs her by the leg and pulls her back. Syren glances back to check on Ravyn, but Katie quickly kicks her in the ribs and drops her with a DDT. Katie then turns and mounts Syren and starts to hammer away her with hard right hands. Chad meanwhile starts to lift Xander up and tries to get him over as Lucas rakes the eyes of Zero and Masquerade lifts Zero up onto his shoulders and Samoan drops him down. He then rolls over as Lucas comes out and nails Masquerade with a hard right, causing Masquerade to nearly stumble over Katie and Syren and fall to the ropes. Lucas then walks over and stomps Katie in the head. Katie rolls off and Syren rolls over. Knight reaches down and grabs her before helping her up. Syren just smiles, looking at Knight before Knight goes over and stomps Katie in the face again.

Sharper: “Lucas Knight saving her ally and Syren quite appreciative of Lucas’ intervention.”

Knots: “Yeah. So much so that a smile from her gets Lucas to even attack Katie Steward. Trust me. She has superpowers. No one can be that hot and not have them!”

Dawson: “Thank you for that brilliant analysis. A smile and boobs and you get that.”

Knots: “That’s why they pay me to be here. You idiots wouldn’t have figured that out!”

Katie rolls over and Shilo grabs Ravyn and lifts her up before placing her on the ropes. Syren sees this, turning her attention away from Lucas and clubbing Shilo in the back. She then turns him around and nails him with a hard forearm. She then grabs Shilo and tries for the Total Makeover, but Shilo pushes her away. She then turns around and Masquerade stands here. She quickly freaks out and turns around only for Shilo to lift her up and Masquerade turns and hops up to the middle rope. Ravyn, however, quickly jumps up and dropkicks Masquerade and Masquerade goes over the top rope, but holds on, landing on the apron. She then turns and kicks Shilo in the back of the head and Shilo drops Syren. He stumbles forward as Xander manages to drop down and walk away from Chad. Chad walks after him and Xander suddenly lifts him up before dropping him with a spinebuster. Lucas pushes Katie into the corner and starts to choke her with the sole of his boot. Shilo gets up and Ravyn walks over and nails him with a hard right before then turning and whipping him into the ropes. Shilo bounces off the ropes and Ravyn lowers her head a bit too soon and Shilo just drops to his knees and nails her with an uppercut. Ravyn staggers back and falls to the ropes. The countdown clock returns and Shilo runs over and lifts her up before starting to lift her up. Masquerade goes over to help Shilo. Xander gets up and Syren turns to him before suddenly, violently rolling away and grabbing onto the bottom rope. Zero is back up and Xander turns his attention to Zero and scoops him up onto his shoulder. He then walks forward and tries to force him over as the buzzer sounds. “King of the World” plays and Lucas suddenly stops attacking Katie and looks up at the curtain as Christy Matthews starts to run down from the back.

Sharper: “And here we go. This is going to get interesting. We know there is tension between Christy and Lucas here.”

Knots: “Lucas...you may just want to hide now!”

Christy Matthews runs up the steel steps and walks along the apron and enters the ring. Lucas walks over to her, but Christy runs across and goes over to Xander and nails him with a shot to the back. Zero falls down and nails Xander in the head. Christy works on the back of Xander as Zero hammers away at him. Lucas just looks in shock and Katie then low blows him from behind. Lucas falls over and winces in pain. Syren sees this and gets up before running over and nailing Katie with a hard forearm, knocking her back into the corner. Shilo continues to battle with Ravyn as Masquerade helps him and flips her up and over. Ravyn lands on the apron and then pulls down on the top rope, but then smacks the canvas in frustration before rolling in, hoping someone would have come from behind. Masquerade quickly kicks her as Syren continues to hammer on Katie before Katie suddenly screams and Syren turns around, holding her head and ears in pain. Katie just smiles and Syren turns around and Katie nails her with a spinning heel kick.

Dawson: “Katie Steward had the answer for that onslaught with that ear-piercing scream.”

Knots: “Now Syren’s deaf!”

Sharper: “I don’t know about that. But she probably has a headache. Meanwhile, Christy Matthews and Jason Zero working on Xander Valentine. Ravyn Taylor is battling with both members of Karnivale.”

Knots: “Maybe not for long. Here comes Chad Evans to the rescue!”

Chad walks over and nails Shilo in the back of the head. He then turns and runs him towards the ropes and goes to throw him over, but Shilo easily holds on, just turning onto the apron and getting back into the ring. Ravyn starts to pull herself up as Masquerade starts to lift her up. Chad just clubs him in the back and Ravyn drops to her feet. Chad then spins around and Shilo nails him with a clothesline. Chad pops back up and staggers over to the ropes and Shilo walks over to him to help him, but Ravyn then runs over and nails Shilo in the back with a double axe shot the back. He falls to his knees and Masquerade turns and starts to walk over but Christy Matthews turns and kicks Masquerade hard in the chest with a spin kick. She then nails him again. Masquerade winces and Christy then jumps up and kicks him in the head, knocking him over. Christy Matthews then turns and looks at Ravyn and Ravyn just smirks before lifting Shilo up a bit. Chad turns and just smacks Shilo in the back before turning and nailing Zero in the head. Zero lets go of Xander and Xander turns and Chad suddenly pulls him away by the leg. Xander hops up and swings, but Chad dodges it and then leg trips Xander before trying for the Levity. Xander tries to fight it and Zero then comes out and clotheslines him down. The crowd ohs and Xander rolls over as the countdown clock returns. Xander starts to get up and Zero gets up and turns to Xander and kicks him in the ribs. He then hooks his arm before going to hoist him up, but Xander blocks it. Katie then runs over and clotheslines them down. She then smiles as he looks around and smiles. Chad then gets up and looks at her as Katie turns and glances to him and the buzzer goes. “Girls Night Out” starts to play and the crowd cheers as Stacy Kissinger starts to jog down from the back.

Sharper: “Number twenty-nine. Great number to draw for Stacy Kissinger!”

Dawson: “Her boyfriend, Gable Winchester, was successful earlier and gained the US Championship. Can she now win the battle royal?”

Knots: “Good luck. Look at who is in that ring!”

Katie glances back and Kissinger slides into the ring. She then runs forward and nails Katie with a clothesline before turning and kicking Chad in the ribs. Chad winces and Kissinger then turns and runs into the ropes and jumps up and hits a double American Kiss on Zero and Xander. The crowd roars and Kissinger looks around. Ravyn drops Shilo and turns around and goes for a kick, but Kissinger blocks it. Kissinger then pulls her in and goes for a reverse STO, but Syren nails her from behind. Kissinger staggers forward and Syren and Ravyn then both hoist Kissinger up and back drop her over. Matthews meanwhile turns her attention to Shilo and grabs him as Lucas starts to get back up. Masquerade stumbles over and Lucas runs over and attempts to clothesline him up and over. Masquerade goes over onto the apron and Lucas grabs him. He then turns and goes to throw him into the ringpost, but Masquerade blocks it and throws Lucas into the top turnbuckle. Masquerade then springboards up and nails him with an inner leg lariat.

Sharper: “Masquerade nearly gone, but Lucas, I think the blood loss is affecting him.”

Knots: “Well duh. How long have you been calling wrestling?”

Dawson: “He’s not hitting as hard as he’d like. He’s not being anywhere near as effective as he’d like.”

Syren grabs Kissinger and lifts her up as Ravyn does as well. They both nail her and whip her into the ropes. Kissinger bounces off the ropes and both hip toss her over and then hit a double elbow drop. Matthews tries to lift Shilo up, but Shilo elbows her in the forehead and then another. Matthews drops Shilo and Shilo spins her around into the corner. Chad meanwhile runs over and clubs Shilo in the back. Shilo falls over and Chad kicks him in the back of the head before turning and grabbing Christy Matthews and chopping her in the chest. The crowd woos and Chad then starts to lift her up. Masquerade gets up and turns and kicks Syren in the ribs. He then drops her face first into his knee before turning and Ravyn kicks him in the ribs. She then quickly hooks his arm and pulls it around his neck before forcing him down. The crowd ohs as Masquerade winces. Ravyn looks around before seeing Kissinger getting back up. She quickly grabs Kissinger and starts to hoist her up against the ropes. Katie wanders around and stomps Lucas Knight in the head. She stomps her again before slowly trying to lift Lucas Knight up. The countdown clock slowly returns and the crowd roars getting ready for the last entrant.

Sharper: “Well here we go. It’s number thirty and on my list, there’s only one person who hasn’t come out.”

Dawson: “And let’s just let Pittsburgh welcome him in.”

The countdown ends as the buzzer goes off and “I Will Not Bow” plays throughout the arena. The crowd erupts in cheers for their hometown hero. Greg Cherry walks out from the back wearing a custom Steelers jersey with his name on the back. He smirks as he takes a few steps and the crowd cheers even more. He then takes off the jersey and tosses it to the crowd before jogging down to the ring and sliding into the ring. Ravyn drops Kissinger and turns back to Greg and Greg nails her with a hard right. He then turns and nails Katie from behind, causing her to fall into the corner. Greg then goes over and grabs Jason Zero, helping him up only to place him on the ropes and try to eliminate him.

Sharper: “Well here we go. One of the people in the ring right now will be walking away going to Rise to Greatness to face the champion.”

Knots: “No more entrants. My favourites are all still in there. Oh yes. The betting lines are good!”

Syren starts to get up and she just walks back over to Kissinger and Kissinger quickly jumps up and dropkicks her down. Syren rolls over and slowly starts to stir and Kissinger then gets up and grabs Syren and knees her in the ribs. She then spins around and goes to throw her over the top rope. Syren goes over and just manages to hold onto the ropes. Kissinger runs over and grabs Syren, trying to scratch at her face, hoping that would help the matter. Just then, however, Lucas Knight runs over and clotheslines Kissinger from behind and Kissinger goes up and over the top rope and to the floor. Greg Cherry glances back as Xander comes in and nails Zero. Knight smiles and looks at Syren, who breathes a sigh of relief. Greg then suddenly grabs Knight from behind and spins him around before throwing him over the top rope. Knight goes over and just a bit too widely as he gets one foot on the apron, but the other falls to the floor and Knight falls back to the floor as the crowd cheers. Syren just looks on in shock, but remains on the apron, forgetting about the match just long enough for Katie to run over and dropkick Syren, knocking her off the apron and eliminating her!

Sharper: “Syren just stood there and she was just eliminated by Katie!”

Knots: “She was looking to Knight. Maybe she was in shock.”

Dawson: “I don’t know. Either way, Syren, Lucas Knight and Stacy Kissinger all gone like that.”

Sharper: “And with so many people in the ring, you can only watch your back so much. It’s going to come down to a bit of luck now.”

Dawson: “And how fresh you are. Zero, Masquerade, Shilo...all of them have been in there for at least fifty minutes.”

Xander continues to lift up Zero as Chad manages to get Matthews over. Matthews however quickly nails Chad with several hard rights to the head before returning to the ring. Katie then turns around and Greg turns to her and looks at her. The crowd roars and Katie quickly lunges and Greg grabs her and goes to throw her over the top rope. Katie, this time, however, grabs onto the top rope and falls to the apron. She then smiles only for Ravyn Taylor to run at her and spear her in the ribs and Katie’s falls off the apron and to the floor. She rolls over and goes back to go into the ring as Ravyn just waves at her, smiling. Katie is pulled back by the officials and Katie is anything but pleased.

Sharper: “Katie not happy. She was thinking this was her year. And just too many variables.”

Dawson: “Yeah. But the good news is that Greg didn’t quite throw her over again!”

Knots: “Pfft. Who cares? Dark Triad finished that job!”

Sharper: “And Ravyn Taylor is the only Dark Triad member left. She’s outlasting a lot here.”

Masquerade starts to get back up as does Shilo. Zero hammers away at Xander and manages to drop back down. Zero then nails Xander again and Xander staggers back to the middle of the ring. However, just as he does, Christy Matthews quickly kicks Xander in the back and Xander staggers over. Christy then runs over and jumps up and nails Xander with a hard right and then another, knocking him back into the corner. Chad stumbles over and Zero runs over and clotheslines him down. Just then, Greg runs over and jumps up, nailing Zero with a knee and he goes up and over the top rope and nearly out of the ring, holding on by one hand before swinging himself back up. He rolls back into the ring as the crowd ohs. Ravyn meanwhile is clotheslined by Shilo. Masquerade walks over as Ravyn gets back up and Masquerade holds Ravyn before Shilo runs into the ropes and runs forward before hitting the Near Death Experience on her. The crowd ohs and Masquerade and Shilo turn and start to hoist Ravyn back up as Greg tries to keep the pressure on Zero.

Sharper: “Zero had a scare. Ravyn may not have much time left.”

Dawson: “Near Death Experience. Her hope for opportunity may be ending quickly!”

Greg keeps pushing Zero up and Ravyn falls over into the ropes. Masquerade and Shilo continue to lift him up as Christy battles with Xander. Christy kicks him again and then backs up. She turns around and runs at Xander and Xander suddenly lifts her up and Christy, shockingly, lands on the top rope. She grabs the turnbuckle holding on for dear life and slowly turns around only for Xander to drill her in the jaw with a hard right. He then nails her again before starting to climb up to the middle rope. Xander then grabs Christy and jerks on her hair before double underhooking her. The crowd erupts in cheers as they start to get ready for the Martial Bane! The crowd rises to their feet and Chad Evans suddenly runs across the ring and jumps up and nails Xander from behind. Xander’s weight goes forward and Christy and Xander both fall over the top rope and both crash to the floor. The cheers turn into immense boos as Chad Evans backs up smirking. Xander glares back as Chad then tauntingly waves at him.

Sharper: “Chad Evans just did what he said he was going to. He just eliminated Xander Valentine, but also Christy Matthews!”

Dawson: “And that look of hatred on the eyes of Xander Valentine says it all.”

Knots: “Well he shouldn’t have gotten carried away. He shouldn’t have gone for the Martial Bane.”

Sharper: “In any case, Chad Evans is proud of himself, but Ravyn Taylor may be going out shortly too!”

Chad backs up as Shilo and Masquerade push Ravyn up and Ravyn lands on the apron. Immediately Ravyn turns and nails Masquerade with a hard right and then another. Chad runs over and Ravyn jumps up, using the ropes, only to knee Chad. Ravyn then steps back through the ropes and Shilo and Masquerade then both kick her in the ribs. They hoist her up in a front face lock into a vertical suplex position but then place her back down. Ravyn fights and they then hoist her back up before then throwing her forward and Ravyn manages to get one foot down and places the other on the apron. She uses some flexibility and reaches forward and pushes herself back up as Shilo and Masquerade turn around.

Dawson: “Ravyn is still in!”

Knots: “Oh....I love that flexibility there.”

Sharper: “I’m sure you do. No one else in that ring will. Unbelievable to manage to keep her foot off the floor.”

However as she pulls herself up and Chad then runs forward and Masquerade and Shilo move out of the way and throw Chad into Ravyn, causing her to fall back down. The crowd ohs and Chad slowly gets back up. Shilo then grabs him from behind and hoists him up with a back suplex and Masquerade jumps up and grabs him and hits a neckbreaker. Karnivale then rolls over as Jason Zero manages to elbow Cherry repeatedly and knock him away. Greg turns around and Shilo quickly kicks him in the ribs. He then places his head between his legs and hoists him up. Masquerade again turns and runs into the ropes, but on the other side as Masquerade goes up, Zero nails Shilo with a vicious spear. Shilo falls back as Greg lands awkwardly on top of him and Masquerade ends up on the other side. Zero gets up and turns around. Masquerade turns and runs at him only for Zero to run at him and drill him with the Chaos Theory. Zero then gets up and looks around and poses as the crowd erupts in cheers and some of the fans make the “Z” with their hands.

Sharper: “Jason Zero is the only man standing. The number one entrant is standing tall!”

Knots: “He’s dropped Karnivale! Could he do it? I don’t believe it if he does.”

Dawson: “He’s been in there for an hour and he’s still raring and ready to go!”

Zero looks around and Chad starts to stir as Greg and Shilo do as well. Shilo rolls over, holding his ribs in pain. Zero then turns and sees him and walks over to Masquerade and slowly lifts him up. He then looks around before smirking and hoisting him up onto his shoulders. Masquerade tries to grab at the ropes in his dazed state only for Zero to spin him around and hit a TKO, throwing Masquerade out of the ring. The crowd roars and Zero falls to his knees.

Dawson: “Four men left!”

Sharper: “Shilo Valiant, Chad Evans, Jason Zero and Greg Cherry. One of these four men will go to Rise to Greatness to face the World Champion!”

Dawson: “And three of them came in the first ten people. Shilo Valiant was eighth. Chad Evans was ninth. Zero was first!”

Knots: “Yeah and Greg was thirtieth. But on top of that, two of my picks are still in. Woo-hoo! I’m making some money tonight!”

Chad stirs and gets up as Greg and Shilo pull themselves up. Greg then looks around as Chad quickly walks over to Zero and Zero catches him and nails him with a hard right. Chad stumbles over to the ropes and Zero walks after him only for Chad to kick him in the ribs. Zero stumbles back. Chad then takes him down by the legs and starts to go for the Levity. Zero however blocks it and spins around so that Chad has his back to the ropes. Shilo however comes out and drills Chad with a boot to the face. Chad falls back and Greg suddenly runs over and clotheslines Chad up and over the top rope. Chad grasps at the ropes, but falls back and rolls over as the crowd roars. Shilo suddenly goes over and grabs Greg and throws him up and over, but Greg lands back on the apron and rolls back in as the crowd ohs.

Sharper: “God is Gone!”

Knots: “No! Damn it! Okay Shilo! You’re all that’s left for me! I hate your guts. I think you’re a freak. But you and Masquerade had a good plan earlier. Masquerade is gone. That’s good. He scares me. What whatever.”

Dawson: “We’re down to three!”

Zero starts to get up as Greg gets back in. Greg gets up to his feet and Shilo turns to him and Greg kicks him in the ribs. Shilo staggers back. Zero gets up and attempts a clothesline, but Shilo ducks. He then turns around and Shilo grabs him by the head. Zero tries to rip him off, but Shilo holds on with amazing form and then backflips back, but right over the top rope himself. Zero is pulled back onto the top rope awkwardly and leaves his feet. The crowd roars and Greg suddenly turns and lifts Zero’s feet up in the air and Zero goes right up and over and lands on his feet, showing a mixture of fatigue and just bad circumstance. Zero rolls over to his knees and looks up before dropping his head down into his hands. The crowd gives a mixed reaction, but then quickly roar as Greg nails Shilo with a hard right as Shilo is on the apron.

Sharper: “And Jason Zero won’t be going to Rise to Greatness to the face the champion, but neither may Shilo. He wanted to do it this year! He fought and trained!”

Knots: “Shilo did this to himself. Come on! Get back into the ring.”

Dawson: “The crowd, solidly behind their hometown hero as Greg hammers away on Shilo Valiant!”

Zero starts to be helped away as he just looks down at the ground in complete shock. Greg then nails Shilo again. Shilo suddenly reaches up and blocks another shot and nails one of his own. He then hits another. Greg then attempts a clothesline, but Shilo ducks and then grabs Greg and pulls him up on the top rope. The crowd rises again and Greg manages to roll over and land on the apron, one leg dangling and hitting the ground. He then starts to get up and Shilo kicks him in the ribs. He then nails him again. Greg winces and falls to a knee. Shilo then smirks before backing up. Greg gets back up and Shilo then side kicks him in the ribs before turning and grabbing him by the head, perhaps for the Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Greg however suddenly turns and drops Shilo with the Cherry Pit on the apron and Shilo falls over and down to the ground. The crowd explodes in cheers as Greg just falls back, laying on the canvas and the bell sounds.

Sharper: “Greg Cherry! Greg Cherry! In his own hometown, puts on the performance he had to and he’s back on top of the mountain! He’s going to Rise to Greatness!”

Dawson: “Unbelievable! The man has had a rough year, but tonight, he turned it on. We saw the old Greg Cherry and it’s getting him where he wants to be!”

Shilo gets up on the floor, holding his head and neck as Greg slowly rolls back into the ring. He then pulls himself up to his feet as a couple of the officials enter the ring and walk over to him and raise his arms in the air. The crowd cheers some more as Greg falls down to his knees. He then looks up at the Rise to Greatness banner in the arena and smiles.

Sharper: “I’ve heard him talk. He said he wanted to give the Mellon Arena it’s proper going away gift...and Pittsburgh’s own has just done that.”

Dawson: “He got the thirty spot. He came in. And he did what he needed to do.”

Knots: “He got lucky!”

Dawson: “Maybe...but lucky or not, he’s won the battle royal and has his date with destiny!”

Sharper: “But who is he going to have that date with. Who will be World Champion?”

Greg Cherry falls to his knees and looks up and starts to bow, almost worshipping the Pittsburgh fans. Greg turns and does this to each section of fans before getting up. He then walks over to the corner and climbs up to the middle rope and looks out and nods before dropping down. He looks around as Ashley Cherry runs down from the back. She quickly runs up the steel steps with a huge smile on his face. He enters the ring and Greg turns to him and smiles as Ashley then walks over and embraces his husband. The two then two and Ashley raises Greg’s arm as he then starts to walk around the ring again. He slowly exits as Ashley follows. Greg then walks over to the front row and hugs the familiar face of Jack Campbell before hugging David Swartz and Eddie Parker, all of whom watched his victory. Greg starts to circle the ring with his arm raised as the crowd continues to cheer.

Dawson: “As Adam asked, who’s going to be champion when Greg Cherry enters the ring.”

Sharper: “Greg Cherry has history with everyone. Jake Starr most recently. Josh Hudson so many times in the past. Thorn arguably being cost his championship shot and the same with Justin Davis. The SCW Championship is about to be on the line and it’s now a whole lot different than we imagined. But let’s look at how we go into this situation here.”

A recap video plays showing the end of the Tactical Warfare match where Josh Hudson stole the title from Jake Starr, by pinning Hurse after Jake hit him with the Shooting Five Star. This is followed by Hudson’s response and Jake’s speech of “the end.” Hudson’s attacks on Justin Davis and Thorn are shown, followed by Josh Hudson’s desire to face Jake Starr. Starr’s clarification of “the end of the Misfits” and the unity with Thorn and the other misfits is shown, before showing Davis’ desire to take out Hudson plays out and the recap comes to an end.

Thorn vs. Justin Davis vs. Jake Starr vs. Josh Hudson

SCW World Championship

Dawson: “Here we go. This is going to be an interesting match. We know the first half of the main event at Rise to Greatness. That’s Greg Cherry. Now who will be joining them?”

The arena goes dark, with just the sounds of the crowds and the flashes of the cameras. With the first chord of "Sandstorm" by Darude, two green spotlights shoot to the stage. As the song hits the post, fireworks erupt from the stage, and from behind the curtain emerges Jake Starr. Upon first stepping onto the stage, Starr pauses to immerse himself in the electricity of the fans. He smirks as he looks around the arena. He walks down towards the ring, slapping the occasional outstretched hand of the fans around the ring. He quickly ascends the steps and enters the ring. Upon entering the ring he walks to the opposite corner and steps up to the middle turnbuckle. He once again cocks a smirk. The crowd reacts to his presence with a majority of cheers, and scattered boos. He points towards the crowd, and shows his appreciation by tapping his chest with the fist he had extended. He proceeds to repeat that gesture on the remaining turnbuckles, and finally settles in the ring.

Sharper: “Jake Starr, the former champion, getting his rematch in some ways here. You know he would love to main event Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “Yeah, but we know that Josh Hudson wants to beat him. After what we saw earlier, CHBK and Sasha Drachewych have actually made it so Jake Starr and Josh Hudson don’t come out one and two to prevent anything from happening in that way.”

Dawson: “Hudson wants to get his hands on Jake Starr. Starr has said he’s more than happy to face him, just after tonight. Hudson offered a new plan on Breakdown, but Starr has not publically said anything about it. We saw him earlier. We saw him on Breakdown.”

Knots: “He doesn’t want to lose a shot at the title. He could go for pride, but no, he wants the title!”

All is dark and Air raid sirens fill the arena, a spotlight drifts around as typing on a keyboard can be heard, words scroll across the video screen

INITIATING THE “NEXT LEVEL” PROGRAM….

The sirens continue along with sounds of gunfire before the tapping on the keyboard starts again

PATCHING WITH THE "SOCIAL MISFIT" EXPANSION...

The background sounds continue, then more words.

SUBJECT: THORN…

The background noise echoes loudly around the arena, becoming almost deafening as tapping on the keyboard can be heard one last time.

EVALUATION: DEADLY…

The gunfire and sirens halt and all is silent before two green fireworks shoot from the rafters and explode on the ramp.

“I’d Rather Die Than Live Down On My Knees”

The explosion drifts across the ramp before the beginning chords to “Death Before Dishonour” by Five Finger Death Punch blasts out as the lights flicker back on and Thorn can be seen on top of the arena, Charlotte by his side as he looks out into the audience that are cheering loudly, chanting in some cases. He stops and smiles before cocking his head to the side and holding his arms outwards before making a beckoning motion with his hands, gesturing for the crowds to cheer louder before fireworks shoot out at the top of the ramp again in a burst before he resumes walking down to the ring again. As he walks past the barrier he high fives all the outstretched palms as Charlotte simply looks on with a proud smile on her face, waving to the odd fan that catches her attention before halting at the side of the ring as Thorn slides underneath he ropes and immediately runs to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle, making the beckoning gestures again before playing to the crowds. He jumps down and does the same to all the turnbuckles before standing still in the centre, waiting for the match to begin, he looks to the outside at his daughter and smiles as she applauds for him along with the crowds.

Sharper: “The other member of the individuals formerly known as the Misfits.”

Knots: “Do we have to call them that?”

Sharper: “Well I don’t know what else to call them. In any case, Thorn and Starr’s teamwork will be interesting to watch. Both know they want to walk away champion. But that’s going to wear away on their ability to work together, at least in this match.”

Dawson: “At some point, one of them will have to turn on the other to keep their hopes alive.”

Pyrotechnics shoot out of the top of the ramp as "Awake and Alive" by Skillet begins to play. Justin Davis then comes walking out to a mixed reaction of a crowd, wearing his entrance gear; zippered up vest with running pants that reads Davis on both legs. He stands at the top of the ramp looking around the arena, smirks and nods his head. He then finally walks down the ramp, not slapping hands with any fans. Once Davis makes it to the ring he points up to the sky then slides in the ring. And, once he gets in the ring he goes to a random turnbuckle and stands on the second rope, taunting all the fans, then points up to the sky and drops down. Davis now waits in the middle of the ring, stretching, and awaiting for his opponent to come out.

Dawson: “Surprisingly he saved the day on Breakdown, but I doubt that’s because he’s friends with Thorn or Starr. Far from it. He just wants his hands on Hudson.”

Sharper: “And after what Hudson has done in the last few weeks, no doubt, all three opponents of his and challengers will want to get their hands on the SCW Champion.”

“Love Me or Hate Me, It Doesn’t Make a Difference" can be heard throughout the arena, as it echoes through the PA system and then it breaks into “Lie". Out from the back steps none other than Josh Hudson with the SCW World Championship over his shoulder. He stops atop the entrance ramp, and looks out into the crowd and nods his head yes, and then begins to head down to the ring. He ignores the various boos and the middle fingers and trash talk from the fans, walking down the ramp with a smirk on his face. He continues to slowly make his way to the ring, a look of determination on his face as he slides underneath the ropes. He climbs to the top rope and stares out into the crowd, smirking, before dropping down and sitting against the turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin. The referee then walks over to him and he just sticks out his arm, holding the SCW Championship. The referee takes it and slowly walks back to the middle of the ring.

Knots: “There’s your World Champion. Yes, YOUR World Champion. He even wants to give the fans what they want.”

Dawson: “He wants to destroy the hearts of our fans by defeating Jake Starr.”

Sharper: “In any case, he does somewhat get what he wants. Yes, he wants it one on one, but he’ll get to face Jake Starr in this match.”

Dawson: “I’m a bit puzzled by his start. I know he does this every match, but he’s seated in the corner. Everyone in that ring hates him and he’s almost taunting them while also being in a very difficult to defend situation!”

Knots: “He knows what he’s doing. This is Josh Hudson. Look at who he’s gone through. CHBK, Jason Zero, hell, everyone in Tactical Warfare.”

The referee stands in the middle of the ring holding up the SCW World Championship as the crowd roars. He then turns and hands it off to the ring announcer Jason Phillips as the official calls for the bell. The crowd roars as the bell sounds and Hudson slowly lifts himself up in the corner. Jake Starr looks over to Thorn. Davis meanwhile just glares at Thorn and Jake Starr before suddenly all three challengers run over to Hudson. Thorn quickly hits a kick to the ribs as Davis kicks him in the face as he drops down. Thorn and Davis both start to stomp away at the chest of Hudson as the crowd starts to erupt in cheers. Starr then manages to push them both away before dropping down and nailing Hudson with a hard right and then another before getting up and kicking him in the side. Davis then pushes Starr away and stomps at the face of Hudson. He then stomps him a second time before Thorn moves in and stomps Hudson in the head.

Knots: “Hey! There’s three of you working together. Go after one of them! Lay off the champion!”

Dawson: “Well no one likes Hudson! They’re going to make sure he’s going to pay for what he’s put everything through!”

Sharper: “Just pummelling the champion in the corner. They’re even taking turns!”

Thorn stomps him again and Starr then moves in and grabs Hudson and starts to lift him up. Davis takes a shot at Hudson in the ribs before Starr lifts him up and Thorn and Davis help him before they just dump him up and over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd cheers and Davis then backs up only for Starr to turn and nail him with a hard right. Davis stumbles back and Thorn runs over and kicks him in the ribs. Starr moves forward and nails him with a hard right before Thorn and Starr push Davis back into the ropes and turn around and fire him into the opposite side. Davis bounces off the ropes and Thorn and Starr both together hoist him up before just dropping him with a double flapjack. Davis pops up, holding his face in pain and spins around only for Thorn and Starr to run forward and, together, clothesline him up and over the top rope to the floor. Thorn and Starr then turn to each other and the crowd roars as the two just look at each other.

Knots: “Yeah! Go at it between the two of you now!”

Sharper: “Well we mentioned earlier how the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal is every man for themselves. This match is the same way!”

Thorn and Starr then shrug before Thorn turns and nails Starr with a forearm. Starr responds with a hard right. Starr fires back with a forearm and Starr nails him with a hard right. Thorn then goes for another shot, but Starr blocks it and kicks Thorn in the ribs. He then fires him into the ropes. Thorn bounces off the ropes and then jumps up and takes Starr down with a flying clothesline. Starr gets back up and Thorn kicks him in the ribs before turning and throwing him through the ropes. Thorn then walks around before standing in the middle of the ring and posing a bit, getting some cheers from the crowd. Starr then starts to get up and Thorn sees this before turning and running at the ropes and hitting a baseball slide onto Starr, knocking him back and hard into the announce table behind him. Thorn pulls himself out to the floor and then walks over to Starr.

Sharper: “They may be friends but that just means they know better what they’re capable of.”

Dawson: “With the SCW Championship on the line, you could argue you don’t really have friends.”

Knots: “What the hell have I been saying for the last week? Remember Breakdown. Yeah. I do. You both yelled at me!”

Thorn lifts up Starr and then turns before diving him face first into the announce table. Thorn then turns and Davis runs over and clotheslines him down. He then grabs Thorn before turning and quickly rolling him back into the ring. Thorn starts to get up immediately and Davis slides in. Thorn gets up before Davis and kicks him in the ribs. He then goes to fire him into the ropes, but Davis spins through and Thorn is fired into the ropes. He bounces off the ropes and Davis scoops him up and hits a sidewalk slam. He then pulls back on the legs for the pin.

Thorn kicks out. Both men roll over and start to get up. Davis quickly smacks Thorn with a hard open slap before grabbing him and raking his eyes. Thorn winces and Davis chops him in the chest. The crowd woos and Davis then wrenches the arm and pulls him forward before taking him down with a short-arm clothesline.

Dawson: “Davis now in control. Over to my right, Hudson is still down.”

Knots: “He’s plotting.”

Dawson: “Maybe, but Davis isn’t holding up. He may be looking to end this quick too.”

Sharper: “Still, Hudson does not need to be involved in the fall to lose the title. He needs to get back in this if he wants to hold on.”

Davis quickly grabs Thorn and lifts him up a bit before driving his knee into his head. He then slowly drags him up and nails him with a hard right. Thorn then jumps up and hits a jawbreaker. Davis pops up and holds his jaw and Thorn slowly gets back up as Starr manages to climb up to the top rope of the nearby corner. Thorn then turns just in time for Starr to dive off the top rope and hit a flip dive, knocking both men down. The crowd cheers and Starr rolls through. He slowly gets up and then runs over to Davis and goes for the pin.

Davis kicks out. Thorn meanwhile starts to slowly get up and Starr gets up and nails him with a hard right before kicking him in the ribs. He then turns and whips him into the far corner. Thorn bounces out of the corner and Starr runs forward and nails him with a spinning heel kick, knocking him down. Starr then gets up and sees Davis starting to get up and grabs him before kicking him in the ribs. He then takes him over with a vertical suplex. Starr then rolls over and walks over to the corner before exiting to the apron.

Sharper: “Starr is back into the ring and the pace has immediately quickened.”

Dawson: “And you can see. He’s working on both. A bit risky, but it gives him some choice.”

He starts to climb up to the top rope and Davis starts to get back up and Starr dives off the top rope with a double axe handle smash. Thorn gets back up and Starr then walks over to him and chops him again. He then turns and throws him out of the ring. However as he does this, Hudson rolls back into the ring. Starr then turns and walks back over to Davis, but as he bends over to grab him, Hudson manages to run over and grab Starr before lifting him up and throwing him back with a release German suplex. The crowd ohs as Starr rolls over, holding his head in pain. Hudson then gets up and looks at Starr before glancing back at Davis. He then grabs Davis before taking him over with a single underhook suplex. Davis winces and Hudson quickly grabs him and quickly knees him in the face. Davis rolls over as Starr starts to get back up. Hudson just turns around and drills him with a vicious European uppercut and Starr flies up and bounces off the ropes before falling down to the mat.

Knots: “Holy Christ! He tried to take his head off with that uppercut!”

Dawson: “The SCW Champion has returned to the ring and he’s going right after Jake Starr.”

Sharper: “He’s getting a taste of what he’d like to do. Davis and Thorn still around, but both aren’t in the greatest of shape.”

Starr starts to reach for the ropes and Hudson quickly grabs him and lifts him back up before nailing him with a hard right. Starr staggers back to the corner. Hudson then nails him again and then kicks him in the ribs. Hudson turns and whips him hard across the ring. Starr hits the corner. Hudson then turns and runs after him, but Starr gets his boot up. Hudson stumbles back and Starr turns around and springboards to the top rope. He then dives back and hits a moonsault onto Hudson into a pin.

Davis pulls him off. Starr slowly gets up as Hudson stirs and Davis quickly kicks him in the ribs and drops him with a DDT. Starr rolls over, holding his face in pain. Hudson then gets up and Davis quickly runs over to him and tackles him down with a spear before diving over into a side headlock and starting to hammer away at Hudson with repeatedly blows as Hudson struggles to cover up.

Sharper: “Hammering away. We heard at the end of Breakdown that Hudson was going to be his and Davis is going right after him!”

Knots: “Come on ref! Get in there. He’s covering up. This can’t be legal!”

Dawson: “Wouldn’t matter. Fatal four way rules. Naturally it’s no disqualification!”

Hudson keeps covering as Davis keeps pounding on him. The referee calls for the break, but Davis does not listen. Instead he nails Hudson a few more times before Hudson manages to push him off. Hudson then rolls over and starts to get up as Davis gets back up and turns to Hudson and kicks him in the ribs. He then lifts him up onto his shoulders before turning and throwing him down with a Samoan drop. Davis then turns and stomps him in the face. Hudson rolls over and gets to the ropes. Davis kicks at him again, but Hudson moves out of the way. Davis then exits the ring and starts to go after Hudson and Hudson attempts a hard right, but Davis nails him with knocks him back with a hard right. Davis then suddenly is drilled from behind by Thorn. Davis staggers forward and Thorn then pushes him and Davis goes face first into the ringpost.

Sharper: “Thorn! From behind! You have to keep watching your back!”

Knots: “Yeah and Thorn just helped Hudson unintentionally and definitely proved a headache for Davis.”

Thorn then turns and lunges at Hudson, but Hudson drop toe holds him into the barricade. The crowd ohs as Thorn rolls over, holding his face in pain. Hudson then pulls himself up before seeing Starr in the middle of the ring. Hudson turns and rolls back into the ring as Starr gets up and Starr kicks him in the ribs. Hudson winces and Starr then hooks the arm of Hudson as well as his head and goes for a vertical suplex, but Hudson spins through and lands behind Starr. Starr tries to reach for the ropes, but Hudson lifts him up and throws him back with a bridging German suplex into a pin.

Starr rolls his shoulder off the canvas. Hudson, however, holds on. He then starts to lift him back up and Starr manages to pull himself forward and to the ropes. Hudson tries to jerk him off, but Starr nails him with a back elbow and then another. He then turns around and runs at Hudson, but Hudson takes him over with a snap belly to belly suplex. The crowd ohs and boos.

Sharper: “Hudson is devilish with those suplexes. He can hit them from anywhere!”

Knots: “And Starr is certainly getting taken apart. It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”

Dawson: “Starr struggling to put up a defense to this offense by Hudson. But Hudson needs to realize that both Davis and Thorn are starting to get up.”

Hudson crawls over to Starr and hooks the leg for the pin.

Starr gets his shoulder up. He rolls off and Thorn starts to make his way to the ring and Davis runs over and clubs him in the back, knocking him down. Davis then rolls back into the ring. Hudson quickly kicks him in the ribs before turning and throwing him right out of the ring on the opposite side. Hudson just shakes his head and he turns around and Starr suddenly jumps up and takes him over with a hurricanrana into a pin.

He lifts him up into a powerbomb position and Thorn then dives off and hitting a flying leg lariat to the head of Hudson as Starr powerbombs him down. The crowd ohs and cheers for the double-team move!

Sharper: “Some unexpected teamwork from Thorn and Starr! A great move! Leg drop powerbomb combination!”

Knots: “But Thorn’s going for the pin as Starr fell back!”

Thorn dives on top of Hudson.

Starr pulls him off. The crowd roars and Thorn looks up before starting to get up and Starr nails him with a hard right and then another before whipping him into the ropes. Davis however hops up and drives his knee into the back of Thorn. Thorn falls over and Davis then enters the ring and Starr runs at Davis but Davis lifts him up for a back drop, but then holds onto his legs. Starr tries to grab the top rope, but Davis suddenly swings Starr down with a sitout Alabama Slam. The crowd ohs and the referee runs over for the pin.

Starr just gets his shoulder up in time. Davis then rolls over and Thorn hits a dropkick, knocking him back into the corner.

Sharper: “Close call there as Davis nearly had Starr after that vicious pendulum powerbomb.”

Dawson: “Thorn quickly going after Davis after he made a hell of a re-entry.”

Knots: “Well hopefully Davis got rid of Starr for a while.”

Davis gets up and Thorn runs forward and nails him with a hard forearm and then another before pulling himself up to the middle rope. He nails Davis with a hard right and then another only for Davis to lift him up and attempt an inverted atomic drop, but Thorn lands a bit in front of Davis and then quickly kicks him in the ribs before grabbing Davis and placing his head between the legs. He then hoists him up and tries for a cradle piledriver, but Davis drops back down and then lifts Thorn up and back drops him into the turnbuckles.
