A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

MAIN SHOW:

The scene opens up with a shot of the ring from year’s past, filled with competitors fighting in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. We then cut to shots of Damian Angel standing tall, raising his arm before cutting to show Jason Zero smirking, and then cutting to Kelcey Wallace standing in the middle of the ring, posing.

“It is a night where people dream to do the impossible!”

We see Adam Allocco hitting the Back from Rehab on Syren on the apron causing her to fall to the floor.

Sharper: “Allocco! Adam Allocco! In stunning fashion. Outlasting Syren who seemed to be willing herself to a legendary performance of her own was trumped by Wrestling’s Enlightenment!”

We then see Shawn Winters hitting the Kiss the Sky on Chad Evans, causing him to go up and over the top rope to the floor. Winters is then shown celebrating.

Sharper: “Shawn Winters has eliminated Chad Evans and now has a first class ticket right to Rise to Greatness!”

We cut to see Matt Hodges hoisting Xander Valentine up and over the top rope and throwing him to the floor in 2008.

Johnson: “Miami’s Most Wanted is wanted at Rise to Greatness!”

We see shots of Shilo Valiant, James Evans, Alistaire Allocco and CHBK all celebrating in the ring.

“They aim to storm through thirty-nine others!”

We then cut to see Ravyn Taylor hitting the Evolutionary Synthesis on Syren in 2015, before seeing her saying “I’m Sorry” to Syren. The scene follows with a shot of Giovanni Aries cackling in the ring as he celebrates.

“Some come too close to the sun…”

We see James Exeter springboarding to the top rope only for Damian Angel to dropkick him off and send him to the floor. We cut to see a shot of Chris Cannon on the floor as David Helms celebrates in the ring.

“But who will add their name to a short list of winners.”

We see a shot of Ace Marshall smiling as he holds up three fingers, before showing shots of Syren, Xander Valentine, Amy Chastaine, Kimberly Williams, Glory Braddock, Kandis, Asher Hayes, Josh Hudson, and others as they flash across the screen.

“Who will make history and challenge the World Champion at Rise to Greatness XX?”

We see shots of each of the previous Taking Hold of the Flame winners before the scene cuts to black.

A shot of a flame in a brazier is shown before the camera pans out to show the SCW Taking Hold of the Flame logo. “Do or Die” by Sophie Lloyd featuring Nathan James plays in the background.

“Supreme Championship Wrestling presents…Taking Hold of the Flame 2023!”

The logo remains on the screen for a few moments longer before we open inside American Family Field as pyro runs up the entrance way and to the set before shooting high into the air. The crowd cheers as the pyro display goes off before spotlights circle the arena. Cameras pan the crowd.

Sharper: “We are in Milwaukee as the Road to Rise to Greatness XX will begin with the Taking Hold of the Flame!”

The cameras continue to pan through the crowd for several moments longer before cutting to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit.

Sharper: “Hello again everyone. Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and tonight, two new champions will be crowned and the main event to Rise to Greatness XX will be determined!”

Knots: “You want to know what will happen on one of the biggest night in SCW history. Here you are. New World Champion, no matter what. Selena Frost or Adam Allocco. And then the winner faces the winner of the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. Forty entrants. Only one winner!”

Sharper: “And that’s not all. The US Championship will be on the line. The finals of the US Title tournament. Bree Lancaster and Amelia Blythe, they will clash.”

We then cut to one of the press boxes to see Owen Cruze looking on and smiling.

Sharper: “And Owen Cruze may have retired, but by invitation of SCW founder, Mr. D, Owen Cruze is here to see who will win the two titles he vacated when he retired.”

Knots: “Maybe trying to get the itch back fast!”

Bree Lancaster vs. Amelia Blythe

SCW United States Championship Tournament Finals

The lights dim slightly as a male voice speaks:

“When's the last time you were afraid?”
“I haven't been afraid a day in my life.”

The music and chorus of Shinedown's “Dead Don't Die” kicks in, with white strobe lights flashing in time. Bree Lancaster runs out from the curtain, arms spread wide, hands facing up, and a smile on her face. The SCW Television Championship is around her waist. Datura walks out with her.

Bree makes her way down the ramp, confidence in her step as she speaks to a fan or two on the way. Datura follows.

Bree sprints up the ring steps, quickly wipes her feet on the apron then steps through the ropes. She does a spin in the center of the ring, arms spread out like before, drawing cheers. She then heads to her corner as the music fades and the lights return to normal. Datura walks around the ring, settling with Bree.

Sharper: “We begin tonight with the SCW United States Championship Tournament finals. One of these two women, Bree Lancaster or Amelia Blythe, will walk away holding the US Title.”

Knots: “Bree’s hoping to make it four times. A record. And Amelia hoping for her first!”

“No. 14 Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Blythe makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. After a moment of this, the Beethoven piece begins to fade and seamlessly transitions into “Victorious” by Skillet, and as it does La Pequeña Luz skips out from behind Amelia and stands beside her, giving her a pep talk before planting a quick kiss on her cheek which brings a smile to Amelia’s face. The two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia’s look growing more determined and battle-ready as Luz continues her pep talk. Once they reach ringside, Amelia pulls Luz into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and mask and handing them off to Luz on the outside, Luz taking the opportunity to give some last minute advice and encouragement.

Sharper: “Amelia joined by La Pequena Luz, her partner. Datura out here with Bree. I doubt we’ll see too many fireworks there. But shows the support both have in their corner.”

Knots: “Datura’s injured too. And one thing to think about. Bree Lancaster – not part of the battle royal later. Both Luz and Blythe are. Is that going to be an issue? Is that going to hang in the back of Amelia’s head?”

We cut to see the SCW United States Championship, placed on a pedestal next to the ring.

Phillips: “Fans, the opening contest tonight is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit, and is the finals of the SCW United States Championship Tournament!”

The SCW US Championship logo comes across the screen, fading to the bottom screen.

Phillips: “Your referee for this match, Steve Hollinsworth.”

Steve Hollinsworth steps forward and nods.

Phillips: “First, fighting out of the corner to my left. Accompanied by Datura, she is the SCW World Television Champion, from New Orleans, Louisiana, she is Bree Lancaster!”

The crowd roars as Bree Lancaster continues to look across the ring at Amelia Blythe.

Phillips: “And in the corner to my right…”

The camera switches to Amelia.

Phillips: “Accompanied by La Pequena Luz, from Oxford, England, she is Amelia Blythe!”

Amelia Blythe takes a deep breath and nods as the crowd cheers for her. Phillips exits the ring as we cut to a wide shot.

Sharper: “Blythe and Lancaster both focused. Neither preening, neither showing off. They have kept their focus on one another.”

Knots: “You heard them on Breakdown. For Amelia, this is her biggest match of her singles career. For Bree, this is a night where she could add to her career with a new record in SCW.”

The bell sounds as the crowd roars. Blythe and Lancaster step up and lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Blythe moves into a side headlock. She pulls back as Lancaster reaches around and gets Blythe to the ropes and fires her off. Blythe bounces off and Lancaster shoulders her down. Lancaster runs into the ropes. She bounces off. Blythe rolls towards her. Lancaster hops over. She bounces off the other side and Blythe gets up and goes for a hip toss. Lancaster spins through and sends Blythe down with a hip toss. Blythe gets up and Lancaster steps up and Blythe hits a single leg takedown. Blythe geos for the pin.

Lancaster kicks out. Both get up and Lancaster trips up Blythe. She goes for the pin.

Blythe kicks out. Both get up and Lancaster takes Blythe down by the legs and goes to spin around her leg, but Blythe moves back and kicks Lancaster off. Lancaster backs up as Blythe leans on the bottom rope.

Sharper: “Lancaster going for the legs. Going for the Crescent Lock.”

Knots: “And Blythe knew it and quickly got the hell out of there.”

Lancaster backs up as Blythe slowly pulls herself up. The crowd looks on as Lancaster then motions to Blythe. Blythe gets up and steps up to Lancaster. The two lock up again. They push back on one another and Lancaster drops down and around Blythe and takes her over with a Greco-Roman takedown. Bree spins around and into a front face lock. Blythe twists out of it and to her back and then grabs the arm of Bree. She turns and moves into a hammerlock, but Bree blocks it and rolls with her, ending up on top of Blythe.

Bree rolls off and grabs the arm of Blythe and pulls it up, but Blythe then brings her legs up and takes Bree over, letting go though. Bree rolls through. Both get up and Bree lunges at Blythe, but Blythe ducks around Bree and goes for the Blight Choke. The crowd roars as Bree moves back and leans back into the corner.

Blythe lets go and Bree rolls forward and moves to her knees and looks up at Blythe.

Sharper: “And Blythe nearly had that Blight Choke in on Bree.”

Knots: “And that just needs to be in for a few seconds and Bree would be out!”

Bree gets up and Blythe rushes past her. Bree spins around to track her, but Blythe slides on her knees and gets up and runs at Bree and spins around her into a waistlock. She then goes to lift her up, but Bree grabs her head and drops down, taking her over with a headlock takedown. Blythe counters with a headscissors. Bree nips out. Both get up and Blythe goes for her own headlock takedown, but Bree counters with a school boy.

Blythe kicks out. Both get up and Bree grabs her and hits a jawbreaker. Blythe stumbles back into the corner. Bree gets up and follows up and shoulders Blythe in the ribs. She rears back and does it again before grabbing Blythe and hitting a snapmare. Blythe rolls through and gets up and Bree runs at her and nails her with a forearm shot. Bree pulls Blythe out and pushes her into the ropes and fires her off. Blythe bounces off and Bree hits a back drop.

Sharper: “Bree changing this up. Heightening the pace.”

Knots: “I wasn’t thinking she was going to go hold for hold with Blythe!”

Bree turns as Blythe gets up and Bree kicks her in the knee and then forearms her in the jaw. She then grabs her and pulls her away from the ropes and hits a vertical suplex. She floats over for the pin.

Blythe kicks out. Both women get up and Bree scoops her up and slams her down. Blythe gets up and Bree pushes her into the corner. Bree then forearms her in the jaw and whips her across the ring. Blythe hits the corner. Bree runs after and Blythe lunges out and pops Bree with a lunging European uppercut. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Blythe cracked Bree! A hard European uppercut to the jaw!”

Knots: “Bree’s lights dimmed!”

Bree slowly gets up and turns to Blythe who hits another European uppercut. Bree hits the mat. Blythe goes for the pin.

Bree kicks out. Bree turns and starts to get up and Blythe grabs her arm and wrenches it. She holds onto Bree and drags her up before ducking her head under her arm and hitting a back suplex into a bridge.

Bree kicks out. Bree looks out as Blythe rolls over and checks with the official. He confirms the count as Bree gets up and Blythe hits a knife-edged chop. The crowd woos. She chops her again. More woos. Blythe then wrenches the arm and whips her across the ring. Bree bounces off the ropes and Blythe lowers her head a bit early, causing Bree to counter with a sunset flip.

Blythe kicks out, but Bree grabs her leg and then hooks it before getting up and locking in a single leg crab!

Sharper: “And back to the leg. Bree saw an opportunity!”

Knots: “Blythe moving to the ropes though. Bree hasn’t sat in!”

Bree tries to sit down but Blythe continues to reach and move her and Bree toward the ropes before grabbing the bottom rope.

Bree lets go and walks around the ring. Blythe rolls over, pulling her left leg in to protect it. She starts to get up and Bree turns and runs at her and jumps up and lands legs first on the middle rope before grabbing Blythe and dropping her with a variation of a reverse STO. The crowd ohs. Bree rolls over and rolls into a pin.

Blythe kicks out. Bree rolls over and gets up and grabs Blythe and drags her up. She then grabs her left leg and pulls up and hits a kneebreaker. Blythe grimaces and Bree then hits a back suplex.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster now doing what she does. Finding a weakness and looking to exploit it. She did this against Syren last month. She’s hoping to do it again here.”

Knots: “And Blythe can’t then have the leverage she needs. Bree’s taking out her options too.”

Blythe rolls over and uses the ropes to get up. Luz cheers her on as Bree steps up and grabs the leg again and then jerks on it. Blythe falls to the mat. Bree then hits an elbow drop to the leg of Blythe. Blythe grimaces in and Bree gets up and goes for another elbow drop. She remains down on the thigh as Blythe grimaces in pain. The official checks on her and she shakes her head no as Bree keeps the elbow down on the leg of Blythe. Blythe reaches around and grabs at the head of Bree. Bree then rolls away and holds onto the leg. She drags Blythe out from the corner and then goes to bend over for a Boston crab, but Blythe counters with a small package.

Bree kicks out. Both women get up, Bree first. Bree goes for the leg again, but Amelia hops on her other leg and hits an enziguri. Bree falls to her knees. Blythe gets some distance. She gets up and Bree gets up and turns and runs at Blythe, but Blythe lifts her up and hits a flapjack into the top turnbuckle. The crowd ohs. Bree staggers back as Blythe spins around her and hits a release German suplex. She remains on her back, moving her leg, trying to get the blood flowing back in it.

Sharper: “And Amelia Blythe with a gutsy German suplex. One legged.”

Knots: “She’s trying to get back that blood flow. Trying to avoid being a one-legged woman in a US Championship match!”

Blythe rolls over and starts to get up as Bree stirs too and Blythe walks over and grabs her and hits a Russian leg sweep. She floats through and into a pin.

Bree kicks out. Blythe then gets up and grabs the arm of Bree before dropping back into a cross armbreaker. The crowd roars. Bree yells out as Blythe pulls back. Hollinsworth checks on Bree as she shakes her head no. Blythe tries to hyperextend the arm, but Bree swivels her hips. She then tries to use them to turn Blythe over. She keeps going and then rolls toward Blythe.

Blythe goes to kick out, but Bree moves to grab her legs. Bree gets up to her feet and Blythe nails her with a forearm shot and then another and another. Bree lets go and staggers back. Blythe gets up and steps toward Bree only for Bree to hit the BOGO. Blythe falls to the mat, holding her chest and Bree goes for the pin.

Blythe gets her shoulder up. Bree rolls off and turns and stomps Blythe in the left leg. She walks around the ring as Blythe rolls over in pain. She starts to get up at the ropes. Bree walks over to her and nails her with a forearm shot. She then whips her into the ropes. Blythe limps in and Bree goes to lift her up, but Blythe spins around, gritting her teeth. Bree turns and Blythe hits a European uppercut. Bree falls to a knee and Blythe grabs her head and hooks her arm and spins through into an armtrap neckbreaker. The crowd ohs. Blythe falls back and hooks the leg.

Lancaster pushes her off and rolls over.

Sharper: “And a two count. Lancaster defiantly pushing her off.”

Knots: “Talk about reminding Blythe about what she already though. Lancaster just shoving her off like she was Kandis and Blythe was her latest conquest!”

Bree Lancaster rolls over. She clutches at her arm and winces as Blythe staggers up. With her back to her, Blythe then grabs her and hits another release German suplex. The crowd ohs. Lancaster rolls over to her side. Blythe sits up and moves to the ropes. She looks at Bree, gritting her teeth. Bree gets up and Blythe kicks her in the ribs. She hooks her leg. She then geos for a vertical suplex. Bree flips through and lands behind her. Blythe however elbows her. She then pivots behind her and clubs her in the back. Bree grimaces before Blythe hooks her head and this a reverse suplex. The crowd ohs. Blythe holds on and rolls over and into a dragon sleeper!

Sharper: “Sleeper! Dragon sleeper!”

Knots: “She’s trying to wrap her legs around her like a spider!”

Sharper: “She does and she could be champ!”

Bree struggles as Blythe keeps pulling back on Bree. Blythe moves and starts to go for the leg scissors, but Bree keeps fighting before elbowing Blythe in the left leg once and then again and a third time. Blythe lets go from the pain. Bree rolls away. The crowd ohs as Datura looks on. Luz does too as both women fight to their feet and stagger up only for Bree to turn to Blythe and Blythe hits a European uppercut. Bree hits the mat and Blythe collapses clutching her leg. She turns and looks over and crawls over and hooks the leg.

Bree gets her shoulder up. Blythe rolls off and looks out. The crowd looks on and cheers.

Sharper: “Blythe and Lancaster both wearing the other down, but the fight is still there.”

Knots: “Blythe clocked her and she thought she had it.”

Sharper: “She didn’t and this match is continuing here. US Title on the line! A new champion, the first of two, to be crowned tonight.”

The US Championship on the pedestal is shown. Bree rolls over as Blythe gets up. She limps around the ring. Bree starts to get up and Blythe fights through the pain and hits a flipping neckbreaker. She turns and rolls back and into a pin.

Bree gets her shoulder up again. Blythe rolls off. She then starts to get up as Bree stirs. Blythe grabs her and pulls her up and hooks her head. She then clubs her in the back once and then again before hoisting her up, but Bree blocks it. Blythe clubs her again before then hoisting her up again. Bree fights it off, but Blythe steps forward and places her on the top turnbuckle. Amelia catches her with a European uppercut. The crowd ohs. Bree is dazed. Blythe climbs up to the middle rope and grabs Lancaster. Lancaster nails her in the ribs before nailing her again before Amelia forearms her. Bree attempts again and Amelia hits another uppercut. She then lowers her head and hoists Bree up onto her shoulders and turns and hits a stomachbuster from the middle rope. Amelia rolls over in pain, holding her leg as Bree rolls through, struggling to breathe. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Amelia Blythe may have taken out Bree. From the top, with the stomachbreaker, but right onto her bad knee.”

Knots: “She had to make a decision. She was going to land on it one way or another!”

Amelia crawls over to Bree. She throws herself onto her.

Bree shoots her shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Blythe rolls over and looks around and starts to get up. She grimaces and limps over to the ropes. She then looks down and leans on the top rope. She then turns around as Bree rolls over and turns and Amelia steps up and grabs her and hooks her arm and spins through, but Bree ducks under the arm. She then hits the Priceless to the back. Amelia falls to the mat. Bree rolls her over and goes for the pin .

Amelia shoots her shoulder up. Bree rolls off and goes to the legs. She lifts up the right leg, but Amelia kicks her in the shin and then the chest before booting her in the face. Bree staggers back and into the ropes. Amelia slowly gets up, but Bree steps up only for Amelia to take her over into the small package.

Bree kicks out. Both get up and Amelia goes for a clothesline, but Bree ducks and hits another Priceless to the back. Amelia falls into the ropes and bounces off chest first, but Bree runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits a running basement dropkick to the back of Amelia’s left leg. The crowd ohs as Amelia lands on her back.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster just took out Amelia’s legs. A vicious dropkick.”

Knots: “Jesus! Bree Lancaster did not miss!”

Amelia yells in pain, grabbing her leg. Bree turns and looks at her, hesitating just a moment before stepping up and grabbing the legs of Amelia and locking in the Crescent Lock. Amelia yells in pain as Luz looks on, clearly concerned, as Datura cheers on Bree. Bree then bridges up and fully locks in the Crescent Lock. The crowd cheers. Amelia yells in pain.

Sharper: “And from that impact to the Crescent Lock!”

Knots: “Amelia is yelling in pain. Bree is looking to win the title here!”

Amelia yells in pain as the official keeps checking on her. Amelia swings with her arm at Bree’s legs, but can’t reach. Bree keeps the hold on, wincing herself as Blythe tries to now reach to the ropes, but then starting to tap out. The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Bree lets go and rolls over, clutching her arm.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via submission, and NEW SCW United States Champion…Bree Lancaster!”

Bree rolls over and looks over at Amelia, showing concern. Luz enters the ring and heads over to Amelia. Datura enters the ring and walks over to Bree as Hollinsworth hands her the title. Datura raises Bree’s arm.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster making history – fourth time as SCW United States Champion!”

Knots: “And she’s a double champion. Those plane rides are getting heavier!”

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster showing again she may be at her best. Amelia Blythe though…she tried-“

Knots: “She did, but at what cost.”

Amelia grimaces in pain as she turns. Bree steps over to check on her. Datura then pulls Bree back and says something to her. Luz starts to help Blythe move to the corner as she grabs at her leg. Datura then raises Bree’s arm again, handing her her TV title. Bree holds both titles up as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Lexy Chapel talking to someone backstage, peering into a locker room, through the door.

Chapel: “Come on! Look, you want to prove yourself. I know it. You know it. Look, just help me out here.”

Chapel leans back.

Chapel: “Can I at least come in and make my case? We should switch numbers. Okay?”

Chapel leans back and smiles.

Chapel: “See, you can listen to reason. You’ve got some smarts in you-“

The door goes to slam in her face.

Chapel: “Okay! Okay! Look, I can help you out. I have connections!”

The door pries open some more. Lexy then steps inside as we cut away.

In another part of the backstage area, Deanna Frost sits next to Selena Frost. Selena just looks forward, down at the ground.

Deanna: “You know you’re just adding to the pressure-“

Selena: “What choice do I have?”

Selena turns to Deanna.

Deanna: “Plenty. You don’t need to put it all on your shoulders. I’m here too-”

Selena: “And it’s just the two of us. Look…tonight…tonight’s the biggest night of my career. Either I win…or…Gods help us all.”

Deanna sighs.

Deanna: “Again-“

Selena gets up.

Selena: “You’re not changing my mind here.”

Selena turns and heads past Deanna. The scene cuts to another part of the backstage area where we see Adam Allocco smirking as he is on the phone.

Allocco: “Got it all lined up. We’re going to have a hell of a party. No booze of course, but plenty else. Adam is gonna be champion again and all to make things right!”

Allocco nods and hangs up and puts his cell phone down. He then smiles as he gets up and turns to his bags and unzips them.

Allocco: “Time to get back what was mine!”

Allocco smirks as he pulls out his gear and the scene cuts away.

We then cut away to see Kimberly Williams pushing a shopping cart. In it, is a variety of fire-resistant gloves, including oven mitts. She grabs a pair and throws them at Jamison Logan who is talking to someone backstage. She then pushes it forward and throws another pair at Kelsai Adamson and then another at Chance Owens.

Kim: “Can’t be too careful! Especially if you’re going to grab hold of a flame! It’s hot!”

Kim keeps pushing the shopping cart down the hallway, throwing gloves at various people, including crew members as the scene cuts away.

Damian Marshall vs. Konrad Raab

“Feuer Frei” by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace in the air, wearing red and black face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands before he crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, from Cologne, Germany, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos before Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes. As he's in the ring, Konrad without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, with ring staff taking Konrad's flanged German mace away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head.

Sharper: “Konrad Raab here to fight and Damian Marshall will be across the ring from him.”

Knots: “What condition is Damian going to be in-“

Ace Marshall then walks out from the back, holding a microphone, carrying a water bottle. Konrad steps forward to the ropes.

Ace: “Hey! Konnie!”

Ace waves.

Ace: “How you doing? Look, you’re about to face my bro and look. He told me he’s going to kick your ass!”

The crowd roars. Konrad just laughs.

Ace: “So to give you a fighting chance…he’s willing to kick your ass with no rules! No holds barred!”

Damian then comes out from the back. He steps over and turns to Ace. Ace ignores him at first.

Ace: “That’s right! He’s going to humiliate you at your own game.”

Ace turns to Damian who is trying to tell him to stop.

Ace: “Damian…get your revenge. For the family! Woooo!”

Sharper: “Ace Marshall agreeing to an underground rules match for his brother?”

Knots: “Does he want him dead?”

Ace thrusts his arm in the air and turns back to go to the back. Damian turns and looks at him and then back as Konrad smiles. Damian turns back and starts to head to the ring.

We rush to the big noise

Red and white lights play across the screen and highlight a scene of silver-tinted water falling over a blue background.

The lights play back across the screen and now words become visible. They read "Damian Marshall". The lights then focus on the entryway at the top of the ramp.

Red and white fireworks in front of the entryway go off in a curtain shooting up toward the roof of the arena as Damian Marshall heads to the ring. He looks around and tries to refocus.

Phillips: “His opponent, from East Limestone, Alabama, he is Damian Marshall!”

He starts down the ramp and reaches over to the ring. He looks up at Konrad who then runs at him and dives over the top rope and lands on Damian Marshall. The crowd erupts in cheers. Damian’s music cuts out and the bell sounds.

Sharper: “Raab over the top! Pure anger as he hates the Marshall family. And Damian Marshall taken down. This match starting.”

Knots: “Bell ring from suicide dive. And this may be a fast one!”

Raab rolls over and starts to get up. He then turns and gets up and starts to head to the back. The crowd roars. Damian rolls over and starts to get up and staggers to his feet. Konrad continues to head to the back, presumably to find Ace. Damian runs after him and jumps up and tackles Raab down. The crowd ohs. Raab turns and Damian turns and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. He gets up as Raab rolls over. Damian then grabs him and pulls him up and then turns and runs him over to the barricade. Raab turns as Damian grabs him and starts to drag him to the ring. The crowd cheers as Damian keeps dragging Raab back to the ring, down the lengthy entrance way and then back to the ringside area, where Raab spins through and throws Damian chest first into the ring apron. The crowd ohs. He turns back and Raab drops him with a European uppercut.

Sharper: “Damian trying to get back to the ring. Here in this stadium, a long way to walk.”

Knots: “And Raab made him pay. And why not! Looking for some weapons now.”

Raab walks over and looks under the ring. He then grabs a steel chair. He turns and walks over and slams it in the back of Marshall. The crowd ohs. Raab then lifts the chair up and slams it into his back again. He turns and throws it into the ring. Raab glances back at the entrance way before turning back to Damian. He drags him up and rolls him into the ring. Raab then looks under the ring and pulls out barbed wire board. The crowd erupts as Raab smiles and laughs.

Sharper: “Wait a minute! The hell is that doing there?!”

Knots: “Was Raab expecting this? Either way, what the hell are we keeping barbed wire boards under there. Cattle is going to run loose at ringside!”

Raab places it at ringside. He drops it and then climbs up onto the apron, seeing Damian getting up. Damian however gets up and runs at Raab and just shoulder tackles him, causing him to fall off the apron and back first into the barbed wire. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Oh! God! Damian fighting back. Raab saw him getting up.”

Knots: “And that ended in the worst way for him.”

Marshall looks at Raab and then around, almost surprised by what he did. Marshall then steps through the ropes as Raab rolls over, pulling himself slowly out of the barbed wire. Marshall drops down to the floor and Raab gets up, only for Marshall to scoop him up onto his shoulder and then look at the barbed wire and hit a release powerslam into the barbed wire again. The crowd ohs. Marshall looks at Raab a bit stunned before then looking over and grabbing Raab by the head and gingerly trying to pull him out of it. Marshall then drags him out of it and looks at him before rolling him into the ring. Marshall slides in and crawls over and hooks the leg.

Raab kicks out. He turns as Marshall turns and starts to get up. He stomps Raab in the face once and then again and again. Raab rolls over. Marshall then follows him as Raab gets up and nails him with a hard right and then a left before another hard right and left. Marshall grabs Raab and whips him across. Raab however stops and slides. He then grabs the steel chair he threw in earlier and Marshall runs at him and Raab throws the chair at Marshall’s head. Marshall falls to the mat.

Sharper: “Right to the face. That chair!”

Knots: “Lucky it’s not the ring steps!”

Sharper: “Raab already used Damian for that message. Trying to get some reaction from Ace Marshall.”

Raab gets up as Damian rolls over and Raab forces him onto his back before nailing him with a couple of hard right hands. Damian starts to bleed from his forehead. Raab then looks down and smiles before hitting an elbow drop. Raab gets up and rolls to the floor. He then reaches under the ring. He grabs a table and lifts it up and places it into the ring. He then looks around before reaching under the ring and pulling out a second chair. He rolls into the ring. Damian gets up and Raab throws the chair at his head. Damian falls to the mat. He looks around as Raab grabs the chair and unfolding it and placing it into the ring. He turns and grabs the second chair. He unfolds that chair and places it next to the other one. Damian starts to get up and Raab nails him with a hard right and then another. He grabs him and whips him into the ropes. Damian bounces off and Raab grabs him by the throat. He then hoists him up and turns, hitting a Burninator through the seats of the two chairs. Damian yells in pain as Raab smiles, enjoying his pain.

Sharper: “Damian Marshall just slammed through those two chairs.”

Knots: “Ace Marshall just threw him into the deep end with a sadist.”

Sharper: “Probably he wanted.”

Knots: “After he’s saved him multiple times!”

Raab however grabs Damian and pulls him up. Damian looks up as Raab then spins around him and hits a German suplex. Damian rolls over. Raab then gets up and walks over to the table. He pulls it up and unfolds the legs and places it down in the ring. Damian slowly stirs as Raab turns back and elbows him in the chest. The crowd ohs. Damian rolls over as Raab grabs him and pulls him up. He then runs him into the corner. Raab nails him in the ribs with a shot and then another before grabbing him and pulling him out and Raab runs into the ropes, handspringing in and hitting the Fire Storm. The crowd ohs. Raab turns back and smiles before dragging Damian up and placing him on the table. Raab then nails him with a couple more shots to ensure the blood keeping flowing. Raab then exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope.

Sharper: “Raab going to the top! He’s looking to take out Damian Marshall right here!”

Knots: “Well Damian! We hardly knew ye!”

Raab gets to the top rope and Marshall rolls off and then runs over and nails Raab with a shot to the ribs. He nails him again and again before shoving him off and Raab falls back and down to the floor, landing with a thud into the barbed wire board! The crowd ohs again. Damian leans on the top rope.

Sharper: “Raab! To the barbed wire again!”

Knots: “Not just that. He landed with a thud! I saw dust come off it!”

Raab grimaces in pain as Marshall looks at him and looks around before dropping down to the floor. He then looks at Raab and takes a deep breath before grabbing Raab again and pulling him out of the barbed wire again. He looks at him as cuts now cover his back. He drags him to his feet and rolls him into the ring. Marshall rolls in after and Raab stirs only for Marshall to grab him from behind in a full nelson before hoisting him up and hitting a full nelson slam into one of the destroyed chairs. The crowd ohs. Marshall goes for the pin.

Raab kicks out. Marshall looks down as Raab looks out. He crawls to the ropes. Marshall looks on and gets up and heads to him and grabs him and drives him face first into the top turnbuckle. Raab then nails him with a hard European uppercut before nailing him with a hard right and dropping him with another European uppercut. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Raab just did not care about Marshall.”

Knots: “Yeah, the turnbuckle is going to affect this man. He went through barbed wire!”

Marshall stirs as Raab then grabs him and hoists him up and hits a back suplex. Marshall winces as Raab rolls to the floor. He looks in the ring and then to the entrance way and then back before walking over to the ring post and reaching under. He pulls out a bag and a bottle of lighter fluid. The crowd roars. He then rolls into the ring. The crowd roars as the official, Jennifer Cassidy, steps up and tries to stop her. Raab pushes her out of the way and he nails Marshall in the head with the bottle. Marshall goes down as Raab turns and places the bottle down. He grabs the bag and reaches inside.

Sharper: “Raab has lighter fluid! We need to stop him! We need to-“

Knots: “He just hit Marshall with the lighter fluid!”

Raab then turns and starts to squirt fluid on Marshall and Raab nails him again. Raab keeps squirting the lighter fluid on him as the crowd roars before he turns back and reaches into the bag again and pulls out a lighter, but he turns only for Marshall to kick him in the ribs. He then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting the Gut Check. The crowd ohs. Marshall staggers and walks around. Raab stirs and slowly gets up before Marshall places his head between Raab’s legs and hoists him up and turns and slams Raab through the table with the Eastbound and Down. The crowd ohs. Marshall falls forward onto Raab.

The crowd ohs. Damian rolls off. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Damian Marshall!”

Marshall rolls out and looks around. He then winces and crawls to the ropes. The official, Jennifer Cassidy, raises his arm. Marshall looks around, taking deep breaths before looking around. He then starts to get up and takes a few more breaths. Raab stirs. Damian gets up and has his arm raised. He looks around.

Sharper: “Damian Marshall survives here in Milwaukee.”

Knots: “He kinda had to! Raab was coming for more blood!”

Sharper: “And Damian Marshall, thrown to the wolves by his brother, Ace.”

Damian looks around as Raab starts to pull himself up. Damian continues to celebrate, taking a moment to enjoy this, but Raab crawls to one of the destroyed chairs. He uses it to get up and Damian turns and Raab nails him in the head with it. Damian goes down. Raab throws the chair down and yells at him before turning and going over to the lighter fluid. He grabs it and turns starting to pour more onto Damian. The crowd roars. Raab keeps berating Damian as he douses him with lighter fluid. Raab then turns and throws the bottle down before going to the bag, pulling out a lighter. He flicks it and holds it up as he turns as a woman with green hair runs into the ring. Security tries to stop her, but she yells at Raab to stop.

Sharper: “Some woman…”

Knots: “Whoever she is, Raab’s listening to her. Damian came out last month. Now Raab has someone…”

The woman tells Raab to stop as Raab looks at the lighter in his hand and then looks at Damian Marshall who starts to slide away. Cassidy stands over him as officials, having to make the long run from the back, finally reach the ring. Raab turns to Marshall before snapping at him before turning and exiting the ring. The woman exits and Raab snaps at the security guards. They back off as the woman joins Raab and follows him around the ring. Raab then heads to the back as the woman starts to follow. Damian Marshall looks over as the scene fades out.

We open up at the SCW Headquarters. The sounds of phones ringing and people talking is broken up by a shot into the office of SCW Founder, Mr. D. We then hear a buzz as Mr. D looks around and then looks at the phone in the room. He presses a button.

Mr. D: “Yes?”

Sasha: “Dad….can I talk to you?”

Mr. D: “Oh yeah. Of course!”

Sasha: “I’ll be right in.”

A few moments pass before Sasha walks into the office. Sasha walks to the desk and sits down across from him.

Sasha: “So enjoying things.”

Mr. D: “Of course! Comfortable chairs, big office, nice day, a visit from my daughter.”

Sasha: “Well I’m here on business. Next year, big deal, Rise to Greatness XX. What do you think about returning to Toronto for it?”

Mr. D: “I love it! Would be great to return to the Skydom-“

Sasha: “Come on dad, you know it’s not called that anymore. It’s the Rogers Centre.”

Mr. D: “True, but when we were there for the first one, it was. You know what else happened since then.”

Sasha: “What?”

Mr. D: “Four different presidents of the United States. Yeah….several football scandals. Social Media became a thing. Facebook didn’t exist!”

Mr. D shakes his head.

Mr. D: “I remember making business deals over this MSN thing.”

Sasha: “Now we just text and have apps for that.”

Mr. D: “Back then, apps were what you had before dinner at a restaurant!”

Sasha: “I know, I know.”

Mr. D: “What a time it was. Back in 2004, the first Rise to Greatness. Steve Griffin versus CHBK. Jason Zero was then Lestat and officiating. Dean Black and Jay Gold hated each other. Mr. Showtime! Mono Loco! The Relentless!”

Sasha: “The formative years. And since then, the talent has just gotten bigger and better. Selena Frost, Syren, Adam Allocco, Owen Lee, Holly Adams, GiGi Aries-“

Mr. D: “Twenty years ago, he wasn’t a problem either!”

Sasha: “Well a lot has changed since then. Except one thing…”

Mr. D: “What’s that?”

Sasha: “SCW is still the symbol for the greatest wrestling in the world.”

Mr. D: “You know what else?”

Mr. D reaches into his desk and pulls out a bottle of rye and two glasses.

Mr. D: “We can toast to that!”

Mr. D pours some rye for both and we cut forward to them cheering to their success. The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

“Rise to Greatness XX…July 2023…SCW returns home to Toronto!”

The logo remains on the screen for a bit longer before we cut back to the office. Sasha leans back in her chair.

Sasha: “There’s one other thing that’s changed, dad?”

Mr. D: “What’s that?”

Sasha: “Why are you in my office?”

Mr. D looks around and nods. He gets up and walks around as Sasha gets up and spins around to be on the other side. They swap places as the scene fades out.

We open with a live shot inside the America Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. “Do or Die” by Sophie Lloyd featuring Nathan James plays in the background.

Sharper: “Well folks, it’s time. Next, forty individuals will enter the ring and one will earn a World Championship opportunity at Rise to Greatness XX!”

Knots: “Forty people want it. Only one can get it. Let’s take a look at one of the most unpredictable matches on SCW’s calendar!”

The bell sounds. Jason Phillips stands in the ring.

Phillips: “Fans, the following contest is the 2023 Forty Person Taking Hold of the Flame Battle Royal!”

The crowd roars.

Phillips: “The rules are as follows: Two individuals will start in the ring. Then every two minutes, another entrant will enter the match until only one person remains. An entrant is eliminated by being thrown over the top rope and both feet touching the floor. The winner will receive an SCW World Championship opportunity at Rise to Greatness XX!”

The crowd roars. The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. We cut to the backstage area where we see a tour bus with Syren’s logo on the side. Syren walks out in her full ring gear, complete with black ring jacket and pink halter-top/black tights. She begins walking into the arena as we cut back to inside to see the fans reacting. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as we see one of the doors opening and Syren walking through. She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring. The SCW Adrenaline Championship sits around her waist. Lexy Chapel walks with her, pointing at her, flashing her managerial license too.

Syren walks down the walkway to the crowd barricade before walking around and through the timekeeper’s area. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. Lexy then steps forward and shouts at the camera too.

Phillips: “The first entrant – accompanied by Lexy Chapel, hailing from Los Angeles, California, she is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, this is SYREN!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope and posing in the ring with both her arms outstretched. She screams before taking off her ring jacket and throwing it over the top rope toward the timekeeper’s table. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment before jumping back down and standing in her corner as her music fades out. She hands off the title to Lexy Chapel.

Sharper: “Syren, if she wants to go to Rise to Greatness XX to challenge for the World Title, she’ll have to go the distance.”

Knots: “She’s shown she can have some success. She’s not won it, but has had some good runs. We’ll see if she can last the over an hour, at least hour twenty she’s going to have to to win!”

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play. A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. The SCW Underground Championship sits around her waist. She also has a shopping cart full of plunder. She’s also wearing fire-resistant gloves.

Phillips: “And the second entrant, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the SCW Underground Champion, the Woman Scorned, the Wild Card, Kimberly Williams!”

A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight. She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and pushing the cart down the lengthy rampway. Syren looks on.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams starting off at number two and she’s bringing some help.”

Knots: “It’s all legal. I even see an armoured Wasley in there!”

Sharper: “What else does she have in there? And just think of the devastation she can do across this match!”

Kim stops at ringside. She places her Underground Championship on the top of the cart. She hen slides into the ring as the crowd roars. Syren runs at her. The bell sounds.

Sharper: “And Syren going right for Kim! Kim not going for the weapons yet though!”

Syren clubs her in the back over and over and over as Kim struggles to get up. Syren then grabs Kim and drags her up and runs her over to the ropes and goes to throw her up and over. Kim grabs the top rope and holds on as Syren tries to force her over. Kim struggles and holds on as Syren keeps trying to push her over and Kim elbows her in the jaw. Syren staggers back. Kim drops down to her feet and Syren turns as Kim steps up and nails her with a hard right. Syren staggers. Kim nails her again. Syren falls to the mat. She starts to get up and Kim grabs her and moves her to the ropes and starts to choke her on the middle rope.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams fighting back and you wonder if both are hoping to keep the other out. Get quick eliminations.”

Knots: “Yeah, but you’re using up a lot of energy early!”

Kim leans on Syren and she struggles. Kim remains on her back before several moment before stepping off. Syren rolls over and down to the mat. She slowly gets up as Kim kicks her in the ribs. Kim kicks her again and then whips her across the ring. Syren hits the corner. Kim runs after and Syren gets a boot up. Kim staggers back as Syren then runs out and takes her down with a Lou Thesz Press. She nails her with repeated right hands. Syren then gets up and walks around the ring. Kim stirs and slowly rolls over. She looks up and Syren runs at her and forearms her in the jaw. She then scoops up Kim and slams her down. Kim gets back up. Syren follows up with a kick to the ribs. Kim falls back and into the corner.

Sharper: “Syren now fighting back. These two just throwing everything at one another.”

Knots: “I’m more impressed that Kim hasn’t gone for her weapons yet!”

Sharper: “Maybe doesn’t plan to use them yet.”

Syren whips Kim across the ring. Kim hits the corner. Syren runs after and Kim spins to the apron. Syren stops at the corner. Kim forearms her. Syren staggers back and Kim enters the ring and runs at her and hits a dropkick. The crowd ohs. Syren turns and starts to get up and Kim grabs her and moves her to the ropes. She tries to hoist her up and over. Syren holds on as the crowd roars. Kim tries to get Syren up as Syren grabs the ropes. She keeps holding on as Kim fights her. The countdown clock comes up.

The buzzer goes as “Sonne” by Rammstein begins to play. The crowd roars as The One steps out from the back and looks at the ring before heading to the ring.

Sharper: “And now the next entrant, number three – The One.”

Knots: “And she could be liking this. Beat Syren in the past. She’s had some issues with Kim. Let’s go!”

The One starts to jog down the entrance way as Kim keeps trying to get Syren over. Syren elbows Kim in the jaw once and then again. Kim staggers back as Syren drops down into the ring again. Syren gets up and Kim hits a back elbow. Syren hits the mat. The One runs past the shopping cart of goods and slides into the ring. Kim turns and The One clotheslines her down. Kim rolls over and gets up and The One kicks her in the ribs and hits a forearm shot before sending Kim into the ropes. Kim bounces off and The One hits a spinning back fist, knocking her down. The One turns and grabs Syren as she gets up and runs her face first into the top turnbuckle. Syren turns and The One hoists her up and onto the top rope. The One starts to push as Syren holds on and then kicks at The One, causing her to stagger back. Syren dives off and hits a double axe handle smash, knocking her down. Lexy jumps up and down in happiness.

Sharper: “Syren fighting off The One. Placed in a precarious position, but Syren got out and down goes The One.”

Knots: “Still, this pace. They’re going hard early and I don’t know about that.”

The One gets up and Syren kicks her in the ribs and hits a vertical suplex. Syren turns and gets up and Kim nails her with a dropkick. Syren hits the mat and rolls over. The One stirs as Kim walks over and stomps Syren in the face before running over to The One and clubbing her in the back. She then grabs her and pulls her out and hits a snap suplex. The One rolls over as Kim gets up. She looks around as Syren stirs and Kim grabs her and goes to throw her over the top rope. Syren spins through to the apron, holding on. Kim turns and nails her with a hard right, but Syren fires back and hits her with a shot. She nails her again before Kim turns around and The One hoists her up and hits a back suplex. Kim rolls over. The One then gets up as Syren springboards to the top rope and dives forward with a flying forearm.

Sharper: “Syren with the flying forearm and down goes the One.”

Knots: “A couple of close calls for her already, but you’re going to have to catch her from behind or off-guard or just hit her good to get a chance.”

Sharper: “So far, few risks in this one.”

Syren starts to get up and grabs The One. She turns and drags her to the ropes. She tries to lift her up as the countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes before “The Steeple” by Halestorm plays throughout the arena and the crowd roars as we see Alex Desoubrais Jr. step out from the back. Lexy Chapel’s eyes widen as she looks around before Alex Desoubrais Jr. looks forward and then glances back at the giant four on a smaller screen behind him. Looking unshaven, and dishevelled, he runs down to the ring.

Sharper: “Alex Desoubrais Jr. That’s a surprise!”

Knots: “We haven’t seen him in years. We know there are some issues there. Hopefully he’s doing better.”

Sharper: “He looks motivated for some reason.”

Syren keeps trying to work on The One as The One starts to fight. Desoubrais Jr. reaches ringside before turning and stopping at the shopping cart. He looks around and grabs a kendo stick from the cart and then turns and walks around the ring. Lexy Chapel watches him as Desoubrais now starts to point at Chapel.

Sharper: “Lexy Chapel is backing up. Desoubrais Jr. is going for her!”

Knots: “Why?”

Sharper: “You don’t think this is who Lexy made her deal with?”

Knots: “Number four would be a hell of a place to land for someone who wants to turn things around in a hurry!”

Desoubrais Jr. continues to head after Chapel. Syren sees this as Desoubrais and Chapel head around the ring. Syren heads across the ring and rolls to the floor, under the bottom rope. Desoubrais turns around and Chapel ducks as Syren nails Alex Jr. with a clothesline. The crowd ohs. Alex Jr. hits the mats, still holding the kendo stick. Syren grabs him and turns and rolls him into the ring. Syren turns to Chapel to check on her as one of the officials starts to motion she should leave. Syren nods as in the ring, Alex Jr. tries to get up, but Kimberly Williams steps on his kendo stick. Alex Jr. looks up at her. Kim wags her finger at him and points to herself.

Sharper: “Syren dropped Alex. Chapel being told to leave. And now Kimberly Williams notices that Alex Desoubrais Jr. has her kendo stick.”

Knots: “She’s stepping on his kendo stick. Years ago, Rachel Foxx would do that!”

Kim then stomps Alex in the face. She grabs the kendo stick and then turns and nails him in the shoulder over and over and over again. Alex fights up to his feet, yelping with each shot, nailing him over and over and over before he falls to the ropes. Kim then swings and nails him in the jaw. Alex Jr. goes up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd roars. The countdown clock returns as Syren slides in. Kim drops the kendo stick and The One kicks Syren in the ribs.

Knots: “Alex Desoubrais Jr. still has the same luck!”

Sharper: “Getting destroyed by Kim. Kim dropping the kendo stick. Guess it’s not weapons time yet and we’ll get another entrant!”

The buzzer goes as “Smooth Sailing” by Queens of the Stone Age plays throughout the arena. Asher Hayes jogs out from the back. He then starts to run down to the ring. He passes Lexy on his way. Back in the ring, The One sends Syren into the corner. She then chops Kim. Kim chops her back. The crowd woos as they trade a couple more chops before The One rakes the eyes of Kim. She then pulls her in and hits a vertical suplex. She swivels her hips and drags her up. She hits a second vertical suplex before swiveling her hips and getting up and hitting a falcon arrow. Kim rolls to the ropes. The One gets up and Syren runs out and hits a discus clothesline. Syren then walks around the ring as Asher points and laughs at Alex Jr. before running to the ring and sliding in. He gets up and Syren turns as Asher nails her with a clothesline of his own.

Sharper: “And Asher Hayes entering in at number five. Great timing as Kim down. The One too. And he just clocked Syren.”

Knots: “Quickly establishing dominance. For now!”

Syren slowly gets up and Asher turns and grabs her and hooks her up and hits a snap suplex. He rolls over and gets up as The One turns to him and Asher kicks her in the ribs and then spins around her and hits a half nelson facebuster. Asher rolls through. He gets up and smirks to the crowd as he sees Kim at the ropes and runs at her and hits a baseball slide, knocking her to the floor. The crowd ohs. Asher turns and looks around as Syren starts to stir. Hayes grabs her and pulls her up and moves her to the ropes. He kicks her in the ribs and then grabs her and lifts her up. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And Asher in control, going for the biggest threat in the match so far, the multiple time World Champion, Syren.”

Knots: “Not a bad plan. Get rid of the biggest threats. You don’t want to regret it later!”

Syren holds on as the crowd looks on and roars. Hayes pushes her up and she lands on the apron. He turns and attack her, but Syren dives back into the ring. Hayes follows up with a stomp to the back and then another. He turns as The One runs over and nails him with a hard right. Hayes knees her in the ribs and throws her into the corner. Hayes now lifts The One up and tries to eliminate her. She holds on and fights it off as the crowd roars again. Syren moves to the corner as The One grabs at the ropes, using any leverage she can to avoid going up and over. The One then grabs Asher and rakes his eyes. She drops down. Hayes staggers back and The One steps up and nails him with a hard right and then a chop. The crowd woos. He falls into the corner and The One kicks him in the ribs. The countdown returns.

The buzzer goes off and “That's My Girl” by Fifth Harmony plays. The crowd cheers as we see Giovanni “Gigi” Steward step out from the back. She looks around and nods before jogging down to the ring.

Sharper: “Wrestling’s original princess! Gigi Steward back to SCW to enter into the Taking Hold of the Flame!”

Knots: “And Gigi can stun the world here with a big start!”

The One chokes Hayes with her boot in the corner as Gigi runs down the entrance way. Kim stirs on the floor as Syren starts to get up at the ropes. Gigi slides past Syren and runs across the ring and jumps up and hits a backstabber on The One. The crowd roars in approval. The One rolls over in pain as Gigi gets up. Syren lunges at her and Gigi ducks a clothesline. She then stops and hits a spinning heel kick to the jaw of Syren. Gigi gets up and runs over and kicks Hayes in the ribs as he gets up. She forearms him in the jaw and he falls to the mat. Gigi then looks around and runs across the ring, and bounces off and dives through the ropes and onto Kim, driving her into the barricade. The crowd roars. Gigi gets up and poses as she looks around.

Sharper: “And Gigi Steward coming in with that big start you said Jon!”

Knots: “Taking anyone and everyone out!”

Sharper: “Striking anything that’s moving.”

Gigi turns and grabs Kim and rolls her back into the ring. Gigi rolls in after. Kim starts to get up and Gigi lifts her up against the ropes. The crowd roars as Kim holds on and looks around. Hayes stirs as The One and Syren take a bit longer to get up. Kim keeps fighting and then Hayes comes up behind Gigi and clubs her in the back. He then pulls her back and hits a back suplex. Gigi rolls over. Hayes turns and gets up as Kim turns to him. Hayes gives her a thumbs up. Kim responds in kind before Kim nails him with a forearm shot. The crowd roars. Hayes staggers as Kim nails him again and then lunges and shoves him back into the ropes. Hayes holds on as Kim tries to lift him up over his head. Hayes holds on as Syren gets up and starts to help Kim. Hayes reaches around and turns as Syren and Kim reset their grip. Hayes holds onto the ropes. Gigi and The One stir and Gigi turns as The One grabs her and the two turn into the ropes. They both try to lift the other up as Hayes goes up and over to the apron. Syren steps through, but Hayes hooks the bottom rope with his legs. Kim stomps him a few times before turning and grabbing Syren and trying to eliminate her. Hayes rolls back in.

The buzzer sounds.

“SUPREEEEEEEEEEEEEME POWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”

The crowd roars as “Touch” by Stan Bush. From the back emerges “Supreme Power” Mitch Doogan, arms out and looking menacing as he starts to march to the ring.

Sharper: “And the tenor may have changed. The man who is synonymous with this match. The man with trash-can lid hands!”

Knots: “And he’s going throw them at anyone in there! Whenever he makes it!”

The camera remains focused on Doogan as Hayes moves to the corner. Kim keeps trying to lift Syren up and over, but Syren fights out. Gigi elbows The One over and over and The One staggers back. Gigi then forearms her in the jaw. The One staggers across to the ropes. Gigi kicks her again and then whips her across the ring. The One bounces off and Gigi goes for a clothesline. The One ducks and then nails Gigi hard in the back of the head with a forearm shot. The crowd ohs. The One then runs over and kicks Hayes in the ribs. Doogan finally reaches the ring and grabs the ropes, pulling himself onto the apron and then into the ring. The One turns and Doogan drills her with a hard right.

Sharper: “And Doogan has hit the ring.”

Knots: “Largest man in there by a mile!”

Doogan then nails Syren with a hard right. Kim steps up and Doogan drops her with a hard right. Gigi pulls herself up only for, again, Doogan to knock her down with a hard right. Doogan then stops and lets out a yell as the crowd roars. Doogan looks around before turning as Hayes gets up and runs at him. Doogan then hoists Hayes up and into a military press. He lets out another yell before slamming him down. Hayes rolls over in pain. Doogan then turns and walks over to Syren and drags her up. Syren fights and Doogan hits another hard right and then another before The One clubs him in the back. Doogan turns and grabs her by the throat. The One looks at him and kicks him in the shin. Syren then clubs him in the back. The One kicks him in the knee again and then Syren runs up to the ropes, bouncing off and hitting the Face Lift into the back of Doogan’s head. The One pulls and drags him to the ropes. She holds him there. Syren heads over and then grabs Doogan, helping The One as they start to lift him up.

Sharper: “Doogan in trouble here. The One and Syren working together to get him up and over!”

Knots: “And here comes more!”

Gigi and Kim head over and help too as they lift Doogan over. Doogan yells as a defensive mechanism, getting a roar from the crowd, only for him to be lifted up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd ohs. Some boo. The One then goes to nail Syren, but Syren blocks it as Gigi and Kim trade blows.

Sharper: “And just like that, they pair off again. The One hoped to get a shot in on Syren, but Syren saw it coming. And Gigi and Kim going back at it.”

Hayes looks around as Gigi tries to get Kim up. Syren turns and throws The One into the corner. She then shoulders her in the ribs. A few moments pass before the countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes before “Fury Oh Fury” by Nico Vega plays throughout the arena. The crowd buzzes as we see a twenty-something year old brunette wearing a summer dress, walking out from the back. She looks around and surveys the stadium before nodding and then starting to head to the ring.

Knots: “Uh…well, uh…”

Sharper: “I’m not familiar too much with this entrant. Her name, though, I’m being told is Carrie Lovejoy.”

Knots: “She does know this is a match.”

Sharper: “I assume so. But she almost looks in awe to be here. She’s also in no hurry to make it to the ring.”

Lovejoy continues to head to the ring as we cut to the ring where Syren whips The One across the ring. Gigi and Kim both try to lift her up and over the top rope. The One holds onto the ropes and drops to the apron. Gigi turns and The One nails her with a hard right and then nails Kim with a shot. Syren runs across, but The One sidesteps and then grabs her by the head. Gigi turns and goes to help The One, lifting Syren up. Syren holds on as Kim then turns and nails The One with a shot before nailing her again and again. The One drops down to the apron and then rolls to the ring.

Sharper: “The One just avoiding catastrophe.”

Knots: “While Hayes is still down. He’s letting the other four do their damage!”

Sharper: “Why not? Gives him an opportunity to rest.”

Syren turns as Gigi nails her in the ribs. Kim then stomps away on The One. Hayes looks on from the opposite side of the ring. Kim then grabs The One and lifts her up and goes to throw her up and over the top rope to the floor. The One holds on again as Kim nails her a couple of times. Gigi fights off Syren as Lovejoy finally reaches ringside and sees Hayes. She smiles and climbs onto the apron and moves to her knees and leans forward to him. Hayes turns to her, realizing she’s there. She says something to him, whispering in his ear. She then smiles as Hayes looks at her and then clearly saying no. Lovejoy slides down to the floor, crossing her arms as Hayes gets up and moves away.

Sharper: “Lovejoy finally reaching the ring and…”

Knots: “Maybe looking to make an alliance. Asher said no. That was surprising.”

Sharper: “Well he’s not the same Asher we’ve known. He’s trying to fix his homelife. Trying to do right by the mother of his children. Clearly, whatever Carrie Lovejoy wanted, he wasn’t interested. But it may tells us more about her.”

Hayes then runs over and nails Gigi in the back. She then spins her around and throws her into the corner. The countdown returns.

The buzzer goes off and “ “ plays. Dawn Warren runs out from the back and looks around and nods before heading down to the ring.

Sharper: “And from one newcomer to another. Dawn Warren making her first appearance n SCW and on a big night.”

Knots: “How about that! You come in. First night in and you win? That’s how you make a statement!”

Warren runs down to the ring as Gigi holds on and tries to fight off Hayes. The One fights off Kim and Kim staggers back and turns. We then see Syren clothesline Kim down. Kim rolls over as Syren turns and The One nails her with a hard right. Syren hits the mat and The One turns as Warren enters the ring and gets up and nails her with a hard right and then another and another. She pushes her into the ropes and fires her off. The One bounces off and Warren hits a drop toe hold to the mat. She then gets up and hits a jumping splash to her back. She gets up and turns and grabs Syren as Kim Williams rolls to the floor. She walks around.

Sharper: “Warren fighting off The One and now Syren. Gigi fighting off Asher Hayes.”

Knots: “Kim’s on the floor!”

Sharper: “Went under the ropes, so she’s still in the match, but clearly thinking about something.”

Kim then holds up a finger. The crowd nearby cheers seeing this. She then starts to walk over to the shopping cart. The crowd cheers some more as Warren pushes Syren into the corner and forearms her. Gigi gets free from Hayes. Lovejoy moves away from Kim, staying on the floor and out of the way. Kim goes over and grabs Wasley, still in his armour, and holds him up to her ear. She listens for a few moments before nodding. She turns to him. The camera gets in closer.

Kim: “You’re right. I tried it my way…now…”

Kim places Wasley down before then grabbing the cart and pushing it next to the ring. The crowd roars as she pulls out a trash can with two kendo sticks and a road sign and throws it into the ring. She then reaches in and grabs a barbed wire coil. The crowd roars. She throws that into the ring. She then turns back and looks through her items before pulling out a bag and rolling into the ring. She undoes the rope keeping it closed and pours out a bunch of lego pieces. The crowd roars some more.

Sharper: “Well I think Kim decided to change tactics and the Taking Hold of the Flame is getting a bit more extreme!”

Knots: “And all of this while she’s still wearing those fire safety gloves too!”

Sharper: “And lego everywhere!”

Kim then turns as Hayes runs at Kim and Kim hits a hip toss, driving him into the lego. The crowd ohs as Hayes rolls around, writhing in pain. Kim then grabs the barbed wire coil and runs at Syren and Warren. Warren moves out of the way as Syren dives down. Kim turns and runs at Gigi. Gigi moves out of the way and backs up before turning to The One who kicks her in the ribs. Kim drops the coil. One nails her with a shot and then another before going for a discus clothesline, but Kim ducks. The One turns around and Kim kicks The One in the ribs and hits a DDT into the coil. The crowd ohs as The One rolls over, holding her face.

“And So It Went” by The Pretty Reckless plays throughout the arena. Willow Aspen starts to run out from the back. We cut to the ring where The One has moved to the corner, leaning back, her face covered in blood as the barbed wire cut her open.

Sharper: “And Willow Aspen in at number ten, but The One may be the story. Busted open here thanks to Kimberly Williams!”

Knots: “Drive into the barbed wire. And we have stuff all over the ring!”

Kim gets up. She heads over to Warren and pulls her over to the barbed wire coil.

Kim: “Your turn!”

Kim kicks her in the ribs, but Warren pushes her back to the ropes. Kim clubs her in the back once and then again before Warren pulls her back to the middle of the ring. Aspen runs down and slides into the ring. She then turns and looks over to the trash can and pulls out the roadsign. She then turns and nails Kim in the back. Kim falls to a knee. Warren then lifts her up and back drops her onto the barbed wire. Kim rolls over in pain. Warren then steps up and Aspen nails her in the back with the roadsign. Lovejoy looks on, almost shocked. Her eyes dart around as Aspen turns and Syren nails her with a kick to the ribs. Aspen drops the sign and moves to the corner. Gigi heads over and grabs Hayes and pulls him up. She forearms him in the jaw.

Sharper: “Aspen with a couple of shots. Kim however holding her back in pain.”

Knots: “Yeah, she got a taste of her own medicine!”

Sharper: “Ring filling up. We’re at the twenty minute mark for Syren and Kim.”

Kim grimaces and pulls herself up as Syren tries to lift Aspen up. Warren crawls to the ropes. The One grabs at the ropes and pulls herself up too. Gigi tries to get Hayes up. Hayes elbows out of it. Gigi staggers over and falls to a knee. She turns and Hayes turns and runs her into The One. The One hip tosses her into the corner. The crowd ohs. The One staggers out and into Hayes who hits a flapjack. She rolls over in pain. Kim gets up and Syren is knocked back by Aspen. Aspen then runs out and jumps up and dropkicks at Syren. Syren moves out of the way and Aspen hits Kim who flies into the lego. The crowd ohs. Syren then turns and sees the trash can and lifts it up. She turns to Aspen as she gets up and nails her in the head. Aspen goes down. The kendo sticks pour out to the mat. Warren then grabs Syren from behind and hits a reverse DDT. The crowd ohs. Warren smiles as she looks around and then turns to Gigi and drags her up. She tries to eliminate her.

Sharper: “Bodies strewn about. Weapons too.”

Knots: “The question is do you keep them in or get rid of them?”

Sharper: “Dawn Warren focusing on eliminating Gigi Steward!”

Steward holds on as The One crawls to the corner. Kim starts to get up as Lovejoy walks to the ring and reaches in, pulling out one of the kendo sticks. She looks at it, almost inspecting it.”

Syren stirs as Aspen does too. Hayes grabs Warren and starts to lift her up with Syren. The crowd roars. They go up and Syren grabs the turnbuckle, Warren can’t grab anything and goes up and over to the floor. The crowd ohs. Syren remains on the top turnbuckle. Asher clubs her in the back as the countdown clock returns.

FWOOSH!!! A series of red, gold and silver fireworks go off at the top of the ramp in a shimmering cascade. A roaming spotlight seeks to penetrate the darkness and find something... Or, perhaps, SOMEONE. A momentary silence, then...

POW!

Four blue fireworks go off and engulf the stage in their light. And as they die away, the darkness falls once more. But it’s not complete... The roaming spotlight catches glimpses of movement, but it’s too indistinct.

“Standing deep in life
My ring of brass
Lay rusting on the floor
Is this all?
Cause it’s not
What I expected!”

BAM!

White-hot green fireworks go off now and this time the spotlight DOES catch someone. Standing there amid the ghastly green glow is the one and only “Wolfsbane” Adam Brock!

Sharper: “Well how about that! There’s a surprise! Adam Brock! Wolfsbane Adam Brock in the Taking Hold of the Flame!”

Knots: “And Chance Owens is losing his God damned mind!”

We cut backstage as we see Chance Owens at the monitor. Kelsai Adamson is with him. Owens is stunned as he turns to Adamson and then back. We cut to the ring where Adam Brock steps out and looks around and nods. He then heads to the ring, slapping hands of fans at ringside. Back in the ring, Syren kicks off Hayes. Hayes staggers back and Aspen grabs his head and runs to the corner and hits the Devil Dog. Hayes falls back. Aspen turns back and Syren runs at her, but Aspen hits a back elbow. Aspen turns and then goes to The One. She tries to lift her up as Kim fights up to her feet. She turns and heads over to Syren. Kim hits an elbow drop. She then staggers up and grabs a kendo stick. She holds her back a bit as Syren starts to stir. Aspen tries to get The One up as Kim nails Syren in the back with the kendo stick.

Sharper: “Kim has one of those weapons. The kendo stick.”

Knots: “Syren was just introduced to one. And this Carrie Lovejoy has one. She’s just in awe of it. Has she ever been at ringside?!”

Syren falls to the mat. Kim reaches over and places the kendo stick around her throat. She then hits a cane-assisted Russian leg sweep. Kim then turns and gets up as Adam Brock rolls into the ring. Kim turns and swings at him, but Brock kicks her in the ribs before grabbing her and hitting a knee strike, a second knee strike, a third one and then a superkick, knocking her down. The crowd erupts as Brock looks around. Aspen is knocked back by The One and Brock scoops up and steps back and hits a Full Moon over the top rope and Aspen rolls down the ropes and the apron to the floor. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Up and over! Willow Aspen eliminated by Adam Brock!”

Knots: “Try to grab the ropes when you don’t know where you’re tumbling!”

Brock gets up and The One runs at him and Brock catches her, spinning around and hoisting him up with the Silent Screams. The crowd roars. Brock then turns as Gigi kicks him in the ribs. Asher stirs too as Gigi forearms him in the jaw and then Brock ends up against the ropes. Gigi tries to lift him up as the countdown clock returns.

“Hero” by Skillet plays and the crowd roars as Simon Lyman walks out from the back. He looks around and nods and then starts to march to the ring.

Sharper: “Simply Sensational, here comes Simon Lyman!”

Knots: “His first battle royal back. Time to see what you can do, old man!”

Sharper: “Adding to the championship talent in the ring!”

Lyman starts to jog down as Brock fights off Gigi. Syren gets up and Hayes rakes her eyes. She falls to the ropes. Hayes nails her in the ribs and tries to get her up. Kim remains down as The One staggers forward. She looks at everything in the ring and turns and grabs Brock and kicks him in the ribs. Brock leans against the ropes and The One nails her with a hard right and then a left and then a right. Gigi turns to her and runs at her and The One hits a straight kick to the jaw. Gigi falls to the mat. The One then grabs Brock and goes to run him across to the leg, but Brock hoists her up and slams her into the lego. Brock then looks at the lego and looks around. We then see Simon Lyman arriving at ringside and before going in, Lovejoy walks over to him. She leans on the kendo stick, running her hand across it, as she looks at him. She says something to him. Lyman smirks and then turns and rolls into the ring. Lovejoy looks at Lyman, more uncertain as she turns.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman meeting Carrie Lovejoy. Again, she’s still not actually entered the ring.”

Knots: “She’s more acting like a manager. Even dressed like one. Either way, she’s trying to find someone. Talking to Simon Lyman.”

Sharper: “Maybe looking to make an alliance before going in? Not the worst idea, but she’s gone up to two men who have specific goals for themselves!”

Brock turns and Lyman nails him with a hard right. Brock fires and hits him with one. Lyman and Brock trade blows as Syren fights off Hayes. Hayes stumbles back as Lyman then rakes Brock’s eyes. The crowd notices this as Lyman then scoops him up and steps forward and hits a fallaway slam of his own, just missing the lego, the barbed wire having been since removed by the officials at ringside. Lyman gets up and Hayes grabs him and knees him in the ribs. He goes to whip him into the ropes, but Lyman spins through and sends Hayes in. Hayes bounces off. Lyman goes for a clothesline. Hayes ducks and hits the opposite ropes where Lovejoy suddenly cracks him in the back with the kendo stick. The crowd ohs. Hayes steps forward and into an inverted atomic drop by Simon Lyman.

Sharper: “Lovejoy finally getting involved. A hard kendo stick strike to the back of Hayes.”

Knots: “Hayes turned her down. And maybe she’s trying to win over Lyman! Definitely not making Hayes happy.”

Hayes falls to the mat as Lyman turns and nails Syren with a hard right. Gigi stirs as does Kim. The One moves into the corner, clearly in pain. She then starts to kick at the lego, causing it to be pushed, mostly out of the ring. Lyman whips Syren across into the corner. Lyman runs after and cltoheslines her in the corner. The countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes off. “Sweet but Psycho” by Ava Max plays as the crowd roars. A few moments pass before Katie Steward walks out from the back. She extends her arms as pink and white pyro shoots off from the entrance set. She looks around and then starts to head to the ring.

Sharper: “And Katie Steward joining the fray. Two Stewards in there and Katie has had a lot of success in the past. Lucky number thirteen!”

Knots: “She’s been to the final five before. She’s never won it. Can this be the year for the legend?”

Gigi looks up in the ring as Lyman scoops Syren up. Syren holds onto the ropes. Kim starts to get up on the apron and The One heads over and drags her back in. Kim rolls through. The One then turns and kicks her in the ribs. Brock starts to get up as Gigi then nails him with a forearm shot. Hayes gets up in the corner before suddenly he’s jabbed in the ribs by Lovejoy and her kendo stick. Hayes rolls over, wincing in pain. Lovejoy smiles as she walks around. Gigi starts to try and get Brock up, but Brock blocks it and nails her with a shot. Lyman and Syren keep struggling as The One lifts Kim up, but Kim nails her with a shot to the back and then another before drilling her with a hard right. The One steps back and Kim then leans back and kicks her in the ribs. She hooks up The One and lifts her up, but The One flips through and onto the apron. The One then headbutts her. Kim falls to a knee. The One drags her to the apron. She then grabs her and looks down before hoisting her up and hitting the slam portion of The Silence, slamming her into the shopping cart at ringside. The crowd ohs as Kim ends up awkward on it, her feet, sticking out of it.

Sharper: “Oh! The One may have just destroyed Kimberly Williams!”

Knots: “Slammed her into that shopping cart. And Kim…she’s not eliminated, but how the hell do you get out!”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but Katie! Katie now at ringside!”

The One smirks as Katie then runs over and pulls on The One’s legs and jerks it forward. The One falls back, landing hard on a slam, but remaining on the apron. Katie then takes off her robe and enters the ring. Katie then sees Brock lifting Gigi up and Katie runs over and dropkicks Brock. Brock drops to a knee as Gigi falls back into the ring. Katie then gets up and look sat Gigi. Gigi nods as the two then just hammer away on Brock. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And the Stewards working together to perhaps make Adam Brock realize he went after the wrong family!”

Knots: “Welcome back to wrestling and to SCW. We mug you for your service!”

Sharper: “Katie helping Gigi may have cost an elimination. The One recovering on the apron.”

Syren fights off Lyman as Lovejoy walks around. Hayes starts to get up and turns and grabs Katie and pulls her away, but Katie kicks him in the ribs and then double underhooks him and hits the Save the Queen. The crowd roars. Hayes rolls over. Katie gets up and Lyman turns and nails Katie with a shot. He knocks her down before Lyman bends over to grab Katie, but Gigi runs over and jumps up and hits the Nirvana on Lyman. The crowd roars. Syren then turns and knocks Gigi down before turning back and going for a clothesline on Katie, but Katie ducks and grabs her arms. She then twists her around and hits the Platinum Blonde. The crowd erupts and Katie looks up. The countdown clock returns as Gigi and Katie get up and look at one another.

An emergency siren begins to go off, as a black and grey WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT appears on the screen.

"ADRENALIZE ME"

The crowd roars as "Adrenalize" begins to play throughout the arena. The crowd erupts as Ace Marshall walks out from the back and looks down at the ring. He smirks as he looks around. Katie Steward and Gigi Steward turn to the entrance and then look at one another.

Sharper: “And reunions may continue. Katie and Gigi know Ace well.”

Knots: “Yeah, but Ace has gone a completely different way as of late. And Katie and Gigi seem to be well-oiled right now!”

Ace Marshall starts to head to the ring as Gigi and Katie look around. Lovejoy watches as Hayes and Syren remain down. Lyman does too. Brock starts to get up and Gigi forearms him in the jaw. Katie does too. They start to lift Brock up as the crowd roars. Ace Marshall heads down the entrance way as Brock keeps trying to fight off the two Stewards. The One pulls herself up, now back into the ring and runs over and nails Katie from behind. Katie staggers off. The One kicks her in the ribs and nails her again before Brock gets back down to the ring and fights off Gigi. Ace walks over to the ringside area and sees Kim in the shopping cart. Kim looks over, trying to get out and Ace smiles and grabs the cart. He turns it and starts to steer it far from the ring, pushing it several feet down the entrance way before giving it a shove. It travels a bit farther before stopping as Ace waves.

Sharper: “Ace Marshall shoving Kim, who still is in that cart, farther away from the ring!”

Knots: “How is she getting out of it? She was close enough before to the ring, but now…”

Sharper: “Ace doesn’t care and now…that Lovejoy is going over to him!”

Carrie Lovejoy walks over to Ace and smiles. Ace stops and looks at him. Carrie leans over and whispers something to him. Ace just backs up and nods before telling her to hold onto that. He turns and pulls up onto the apron as The One shoulders Katie in the ribs repeatedly. Ace enters the ring and Brock steps up to him and Ace kicks him in the ribs and double underhooks him into a backbreaker. Brock rolls over in pain. Gigi turns and runs at him and Ace back drops her. He turns and walks over to Asher Hayes and drags him up and turns and runs him face first into the corner. Lovejoy smiles as she walks around the ring. Ace forearms him over and over again before he asks for the kendo stick. Ace takes it and starts to choke Asher in the corner. Asher struggles as Ace keeps pushing back. After several moments, he stops and hands the kendo stick back to Carrie Lovejoy on the floor.

Sharper: “And now Ace Marshall choking Asher Hayes. Whatever Carrie Lovejoy is trying to do, it’s clear she may have found someone who is willing to play along in Ace.”

Knots: “We thought she did with Simon Lyman. But guess not!”

Ace turns and then walks over to Simon. Lovejoy looks on as Ace elbows him in the back of the head. Simon falls to a knee. The One meanwhile tries to lift Katie up as Ace runs Simon over to Asher and throws him into him. The two fall over. The countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes as “I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe plays throughout the arena. The crowd roars and boos before a few moments pass and we see Religious Wright driving a golfcart with James Evans’s face on the front. Because of where it is placed, Wright has to peer around it as he drives down the entrance way.

Sharper: “Good lord! What the hell is this?”

Knots: “Religious Wright and the Wrightmobile! Or maybe this is the Praise James Evans Cart!”

Sharper: “At least he’ll make it down the rampway fast enough.”

Ace grabs Simon, but drops him as Syren gets up and Ace walks over and smiles and kicks her in the ribs. Syren stumbles back into the corner. Ace follows up with a back elbow and then another as we cut back to the entrance way to see Wright driving the cart forward, trying to get Kim to move, waving for her to move. She can’t and instead, Wright clips her, causing a brief collision. The cart moves closer to the entrance way as Wright stops and gets out. Wright snaps at her before berating Kim.

Wright: “You need more James Evans in your life! Praise the LAWD!”

Wright turns and heads to the ring. Ace fights with Syren as Katie fights off The One. Gigi walks around the ring as Brock recovers. Simon Lyman and Asher Hayes get up too and Wright rolls into the ring. He then looks at every before running over and helping Ace Marshall with Syren. The crowd roars as Syren struggle. Gigi then turns and runs over to The One and kicks her in the ribs. She forearms her with a shot. Brock turns as Katie hits a dropkick on him. Lovejoy looks around before running over and driving the end of the kendo stick into the ribs of Asher Hayes again. He falls over in pain and slowly gets up only for Simon to grab him and hit a release German suplex. Syren fights off Ace and Wright and drops down to the mat. She drops down to the ropes. Wright staggers around and runs over to Simon and jumps onto his back. Simon falls forward and Wright rides him down. Wright nails him with a couple of hard rights.

Sharper: “The chaos in the ring only enhanced now.”

Knots: “Talk about head on your swivel. Anyone is hitting anything that moves and you’ve got this Carrie Lovejoy that seems to hate Asher Hayes now.”

Sharper: “Or just the easy target.”

Katie grabs Brock and tries to eliminate him as the countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes. “Undefeated” by Daughtry plays as Mitch Sanders walks out from the back. He looks around and nods before heading to the ring. Back in the ring, Ace Marshall collides with Gigi and knees her in the ribs. He then hits a backbreaker. Ace turns and looks around as Lyman moves to the ropes. Wright grabs him and starts to lift him up. He drags him up and starts to try and eliminate Lyman. Brock fights off Katie as Syren gets up and turns and knocks down The One with a shot. The One rolls over to the apron. Hayes stirs as Sanders heads to the ring and sees Lovejoy. He runs over to her and motions to her. Lovejoy just looks at him with disgust. Sanders just flips her off before rolling into the ring. He then runs over and stomps Hayes in the chest before running over to Syren. He nails her with a hard right.

Knots: “Lovejoy seemingly not looking for the help from Sanders!”

Sharper: “Maybe he was looking for it from her. Either way, Mitch Sanders into the ring and the ring filling up as we mentioned. Now it’s also a matter of people coming from behind and one bad move and it could all go up in smoke.”

Sanders whips Syren across the ring and then runs at her and clotheslines her down. He then nods before turning around as Ace kicks him in the ribs. He goes to whip him across. Sanders bounces off and Ace lowers his head. Sanders leapfrogs over and hits the ropes before Lovejoy cracks him in the back with the kendo stick. The crowd ohs and Ace grabs Sanders and turns and throws him up and over the top rope, eliminating him. The crowd ohs. Sanders rolls over, eliminated. Ace then turns as Katie hits the Best Superkick Ever. Ace falls to a knee and down to the mat. Wright is knocked away by Lyman. Wright regains his footing and turns around before heading over to Hayes who lunges and hits him with the Dust to Dust. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Hayes with an explosive move. He catches Wright right in the jaw. And he is down!”

Knots: “Guess he likes violence. Or not James Evans. Either way, that works!”

The One meanwhile heads around the ring and Lovejoy is watching the ring when suddenly The One grabs the kendo stick from her and pulls it away. The crowd roars. The One turns and points it at her. Lovejoy looks around before The One swings, but Lovejoy rolls into the ring. She then turns and looks around before stopping. Hayes gets up. He then touches his ribs. Lovejoy just shrugs before looking around and the turning and running to the ropes. The One walks around the ring and stops her. Lovejoy turns and moves around the ring as Hayes just watches her, not really going after her before Lovejoy turns to Syren who suddenly stops her. Lovejoy looks around and then to her before pointing out of the ring only for Syren to lift her up and turn and place her on the apron. Syren looks at her as her summer dress falls back into place. She then points to her to get down. Hayes then moves toward Lovejoy who jumps down.

Sharper: “And Lovejoy is eliminated! I don’t know if Asher Hayes was going to do anything.”

Knots: “Syren just removed one of Ace Marshall’s help too!”

Syren turns as Asher then goes for Syren. Syren fights him. Wright stirs as The One rolls back into the ring and heads over to Adam Brock. Ace starts to stir as the countdown clock returns.

Opening strum of Rage Against the Machine's Calm Like a Bomb plays. The crowd roars as Alexis Quinne walks out from the back. She looks around the ring and nods before then starting to storm to the ring.

Sharper: “And the number of top tier competitors growing. Here comes Alexis Quinne!”

Knots: “And with one less distraction at ringside!”

Hayes tries to get Syren up as The One nails Brock with a hard right and then runs across the ring. She bounces off and Brock clotheslines her down. Gigi and Katie start to attack Ace with repeated right hands as Ace covers up in the corner, holding his hand out. He looks around as Katie and Gigi stomp away. The crowd roars. Quinne runs down to the ring and slides into the ring. She runs over and nails Lyman with a running spinning heel kick. She rolls through and turns as Brock walks to her only for Quinne to run at him and hit the Boomerang. The One gets up and Quinne grabs her and runs to the corner and spins through with the Ditzy Tour. She then hits the Little Red Press onto her. The One rolls over to the ropes. Quinne gets up and spins Katie away from Ace and then forearms her in the jaw a couple of times. She whips her into the ropes. Katie bounces off and Quinne jumps up and hits a frankensteiner. Quinne gets up and Gigi runs at her and forearms her in the jaw.

Sharper: “Quinne entering the battle royal like a house on fire. Just striking anything moving. And now Gigi trying to put that house out.”

Knots: “She’s teeing off with a couple of hard shots.”

We cut to see Kim trying to maneuver herself in her shopping cart. She turns and reaches out as one of the crew members drives Wright’s cart away. Kim throws her arm up as we cut back to the ring to see Syren knocking Hayes down. Hayes rolls over and gets up and Gigi throws Quinne into him. Hayes falls back and Syren pulls on the top rope. Hayes goes up and over, but holds onto the top rope. His feet hang over the apron before he gets them up and rolls back in. The crowd ohs. Gigi then hits a bulldog on Quinne. Gigi gets up and Syren runs at her and hits the Face Lift. She then looks around before Ace Marshall hits a running clothesline on Syren. Lyman then sees Ace and drills him with a Lymanizer. The crowd ohs as Ace falls back. Lyman falls to a knee.

Sharper: “Lymanizer! Ace walked into and Simon got all of it.”

Knots: “Now Ace can grade superkicks. Lyman or Steward?”

Sharper: “Just wait until Syren is ranked too!”

The countdown returns.

“C’est la Vie” by Bewitched plays. The crowd buzzes before booing as Colleen runs out from the back. She bolts down to the ring as back in the ring. Lyman gets up and grabs Syren. He lifts her up and places her on the top turnbuckle. He tries to eliminate her as she hooks the top rope. The One stirs on the apron as Brock starts to get up. Katie starts to get up as well.

Sharper: “Colleen coming in at eighteen. Josh Hudson not yet in, but you wonder if her plans will change when he comes in.”

Knots: “Or Polly Playtime. We’ve seen the Playgirls work together too.”

Sharper: “While Lyman is trying to eliminate Syren. Syren has been in there for more than half an hour!”

Syren holds on as Lyman keeps trying to get her out. The crowd roars seeing this as Colleen runs down to the ring and slides in. She runs over and clubs Brock in the back with a double axe sledge and then turns and jumps up and elbow drops him in the back of the head. She gets up and forearms Katie in the jaw. Katie falls to the ropes. Colleen then muscles her up and lifts her up and over, but she lands on the apron and rolls back in. Colleen turns and nails Hayes with a hard right and then another before running across the ring. She bounces off, but The One clotheslines her down. The One winces as Colleen rolls over.

Sharper: “Oh! What a clothesline.”

Knots: “And The One has reason to be pissed at her. Thanks to Ace and Ravyn attacking Nicole, Playgirls got their title shot.”

The One turns and looks around before stomping Colleen in the face once and then again before turning and seeing Ace Marshall. The One grabs Ace and pulls him back the arm and drags him over to the ropes. She slides under the bottom rope and drags him out. Ace looks up and The One grabs his head and drives him down to the mat. The crowd of. Ace rolls over. Syren fights off Lyman and Lyman turns only for Hayes to grab Lyman and try to eliminate him. Lyman holds on and hangs over the side. Quinne gets up and Syren and her trade blows.

Sharper: “The One is dragging Ace Marshall over here! Finally able to actually do what she wants. She’s been a target for so many!”

Knots: “They remember what she did last year. And Syren and Quinne going at it and we know what both of them can do!”

Lyman rolls back into the ring as Quinne runs Syren into the corner. Syren turns as Quinne battles with her. The One drags Ace up and drives him face first into the Spanish announce table. As this happens, Colleen gets up and kicks Wright in the chest, knocking him back down before going after Gigi. Katie moves to the corner to recover. Colleen shoulders Gigi a couple of times in one corner as the countdown returns.

“Helluvatime” by Slik Toxik plays. The crowd roars as Damian Marshall walks out from the back. He then stops and lets out a sigh before running down to the ring as quickly as he can.

Sharper: “And maybe good timing for Ace Marshall. Depends if Damian Marshall is forgiving or not!”

Knots: “After earlier, he was left to be set on fire by Konrad Raab by Ace!”

Marshall runs down to the ring. He bolts past Kim who tries to reach out to him, but fails. Damian runs to the ringside area as The One grabs a steel chair from under the ring. She hoists it up as Damian runs around the ring and runs over and jumps up and grabs the chair, pulling it away from The One. Ace rolls off of the Spanish announce table and staggers to the ring. He nods at Damian. Damian looks at him, but The One grabs Damian and turns and throws him violently over the Spanish announce table. Ace rolls back into the ring. The One turns and rolls into the ring. Ace gets up and runs at Quinne and Syren and slides between them to the floor. The One enters the ring and runs forward, only for Colleen to run at her and take her down with a hip attack. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And Ace someone gets out of it! Colleen stopping The One.”

Knots: “While Damian Marshall is now pulling out Spanish table splinters from his ass!”

Ace smiles as he walks around the ring. He then rolls back in only for Hayes to nail him with a hard right. Ace falls to the mat and rolls to the corner. Quinne is thrown into the corner by Syren. Syren turns as Lyman kicks her in the ribs and then runs her into the corner. Lyman lifts her up. Gigi follows up with Quinne as Katie turns and goes over to Adam Brock, forearming him. Brock elbows her in the jaw with a back elbow and she drops to the mat. Lyman tries to get Syren out, but Syren fights off Lyman. She then steps forward as Katie turns and Syren jumps up and hits the Total Makeover on her. The crowd roars. Syren rolls over. She turns as Hayes turns and nails her with a hard right. She falls to the ropes. Hayes turns as Lyman runs out and clotheslines him down. Lyman winces and then walks over to Gigi who elbows Lyman in the jaw. Lyman stumbles back as Colleen hammers away on The One. She rolls off and turns as Lyman nails her with a dropkick. Colleen hits the mat. Lyman gets up and Syren hits the Golden Blonde. Lyman pops up and rolls over. She gets up. Damian moves to the ring and pulls himself up onto the apron. Syren runs over and forearms him. He falls to a knee.

Sharper: “Syren back on her feet. She’s nearly at forty minutes. Kim still in the entrance way.”

Knots: “Maybe the safest place if she can figure out a way to get back to the ring!”

Sharper: “And now we’re about to have number twenty!”

The countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes off. A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by The Last Internationale chime. Xander Valentine appears from the back and looks down at the ring. He then starts to make the long walk down the entrance way. Syren sees him coming and turns and grabs Damian Marshall and throws him into Ace. Ace falls back to a seated position. Syren then turns and waits for Xander as Quinne and Gigi continue to fight as Colleen and Lyman battle. Hayes looks around. Xander steps by Kim. Kimmy looks at Xander and waves before Xander cracks her with a hard right. Kim falls down. The crowd boos a bit. Xander looks around before turning back to the ring. He continues to make his way.

Sharper: “Xander drilling Kim. And now focused on the ring!”

Knots: “And Syren is waiting for him!”

Sharper: “As is everyone else. Syren needs to be careful here.”

Xander walks over to the ring and reaches up. He pulls himself onto the apron and then steps into the ring. He steps forward as Syren looks at him. Xander smirks before Syren goes to rear back, but Damian runs over and nails Syren from the side. Hayes runs over and nails Xander. Xander takes a few shots as Damian gets a few shots in on Syren. Hayes gets Xander to the ropes. He then backs up and runs at Xander, but Xander counters with a back drop. Hayes goes up and twists through to the apron. Syren catches Damian with a kick to the shins. She then shoves him back, but right into Lyman and Colleen. Lyman knocks Colleen back before hip tossing Damian up and over the top rope.

Sharper: “And up and over goes Damian Marshall!”

Knots: “Right into Lyman who did not hesitate! There’s the experience!”

Syren and Xander turn back to one another and Quinne and Gigi run over to both as Gigi kicks Syren in the ribs. Quinne nails Xander with a couple of forearm shots. She then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a flying headscissors, but Xander holds her up before turning and walking to the ropes and dumping her over the top rope to the floor. The crowd ohs. Syren covers up against Gigi, before she hits a jawbreaker. Gigi then staggers back as The One grabs her and throws her out of the ring.

Knots: “Goodbye Gigi! Goodbye Quinne!”

Sharper: “Everyone knows the devastation Xander can do. But they’re seeing a chance to eliminate Syren too!”

Gigi spins through and ends up on the floor, landing feet first and falling over. Katie then runs at The One, attacking her. Syren turns back to Xander and Xander suddenly grabs Syren by the throat and turns and throws her up and over the top rope and Syren flips through, landing on her feet on the floor and rolling through. The crowd roars as Syren rolls through and Xander looks at her. He then turns away as Adam Brock runs at him and nails him with a hard right and then another. Syren looks up at the ring and sighs before slowly turning and heading to the back.

Sharper: “And Xander Valentine eliminates Syren just like that!”

Knots: “Syren walked into it! Just grabbed her and threw her up and over by the throat!”

Sharper: “And Syren not going to Rise to Greatness XX to challenger for the SCW World Title as again Xander Valentine plays a role!”

The countdown clock returns as Brock turns and runs across the ring and bounces off. Xander then boots him in the face. Brock stumbles back and Religious Wright runs over and clotheslines Brock up and over the top rope. Brock lands on the floor as the crowd boos. Wright taunts and turns around only for Xander to step up and boot him in the face. Wright goes up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd roars. The countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes. “Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play. The crowd roars as La Pequena Luz steps out from the back. She takes a moment before looking up and running down to the ring. The crowd roars as we cut to the ring where Colleen is knocked off the apron by a dropkick by Katie Steward. Colleen falls over as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “La Pequena Luz out next. You wonder if Amelia Blythe will be able to join her whenever she gets her draw, but Colleen! Colleen just eliminated!”

Knots: “Up and over from Hayes and Katie Steward made sure she wasn’t getting back in.”

Xander moves to Ace and headbutts him in the corner. Lyman then grabs Katie and pulls her up as La Pequena Luz slides into the ring. Hayes steps up as Luz runs past him and jumps to the middle rope and hits a twisting crossbody. The One heads over to Xander and Ace and tries to pull Xander away. The One kicks Ace in the ribs before Xander nails The One with a haymaker. The One rolls back. Xander turns and knees Ace in the ribs before turning back to The One. The One nails Xander with a hard right as Luz runs at the ropes and hits another springboard, this time into a moonsault, taking Lyman and Katie down. Luz rolls through and looks around before turning and running at Ace and jumping up and hitting a monkey flip. Ace hits the mat and rolls out of the ring.

Sharper: “The One and Valentine fighting as both wanted to attack Ace.”

Knots: “Both are friends of Nicole Kinneck too! Emotions boiling over!”

Sharper: “While La Pequena Luz is all over the place!”

Luz turns and waits for Ace to get up and Luz hits a front dropkick. She rolls over and gets up as Hayes grabs her and goes to send her to the corner. Luz however stops and then elbows Hayes. She runs out and flips up forward and goes for a samurai driver, but Hayes counters with a release northern lights suplex. We cut to the entrance way where we see Kimberly Williams looking around and then reaching out to fans. A couple of fans grab her and pull her to the barricade. Kim then starts to use the fans as they start to grab the cart and grab her, slowly pulling her to the ring. The crowd roars seeing this.

Knots: “Look at this! These fans are helping Kim?!”

Sharper: “They are. They’re allowing Kim to maybe get back to the ring! They’re pulling the cart. She’s reaching out, trying to get closer to the ring.”

The crowd roars as Kim continues to slowly make her way down the entrance way in this unique way. In the ring, Hayes grabs Luz and lifts her up and tries to start to eliminate her. Xander whips The One into the ropes and then hoists her up for a press slam. Xander turns and moves to the ropes, but The One slides down. She lands on her feet behind him. Xander turns and The One hits a knee strike. Xander falls to the ropes. The One starts to lift him up as the countdown clock returns.

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on SCW’s Jumbotron. A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play. Polly Playtime runs out from the back.

Sharper: “Coming in at number twenty-two, Polly Playtime. We won’t get to see the Playgirls work together.”

Knots: “Colleen out, so Polly is going to be going solo here!”

Luz struggles as Asher keeps trying to eliminate her. The One tries to get Xander out as the crowd roars. Ace Marshall then comes up behind The One and Xander and tries to eliminate both! The crowd roars as both go up and over to the apron. Ace then turns and stomps at Xander over and over, but he holds on. The One then gets up and blasts Ace with a hard right. The One re-enters as Xander rolls in too. Ace turns and Katie hits a dropkick. Ace rolls over. Katie gets up and Luz lands on the apron and does a somersault on the apron before rolling back into the ring. Polly reaches the ring, springboarding to the top rope and hitting the Downplay onto Katie. Polly rolls over and gets up and turns and dropkicks Hayes down. She turns and The One goes to go after Ace, but Polly nails her with a couple of forearm shots.

Sharper: “Polly coming in and immediately making her presence felt.”

Knots: “Saving Ace without realizing it. At least for now.”

Polly whips The One into the ropes. The One bounces off and Polly hits a snap frankensteiner. She gets up and Luz and Polly both run at one another. They both bounce off and Luz goes for a clothesline. Polly ducks and stops. Luz turns and Polly kicks her in the ribs before then kicking her in the thigh. She runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a running curb stomp, but Luz dodges. Polly stops and turns and Luz spins around her and hooks her head and hits a snap dragon suplex. The crowd ohs. Luz gets up and walks into a boot from Xander Valentine. Lyman starts to get up and Xander turns and grabs Luz and pulls her up and runs her into the corner. Luz turns as Lyman grabs at Katie and drags her up. Hayes and Ace remain down, trying to take a moment to recover, as does The One. Polly rolls over.

Sharper: “Xander working over Luz and remember what’s in his mind. Adam Allocco could be World Champion. He’s assuming that could still happen.”

Knots: “He’s cheering for Selena, but he wants to win this to ensure Adam Allocco wouldn’t be champ for long. But he’d love to win it too.”

Sharper: “You have people like Hayes in there. He wants to finally get his shot. Ace could be the first three time winner. And we’re just getting started. Still plenty more to go. And Kim is still getting closer and closer to the ring.”

We cut to see Kim now nearly reaching the ringside area. The countdown clock returns.

The crowd roars as jaunty and generic royalty free music begins to play throughout the arena. On the big screen, a unicorn gallops across a beautiful, flowery field, leaving petals exploding into the air underneath its hooves. It gets closer to the camera as it prepares to fly off, but not before evacuating its bowels, which take the form of letters in a bubble font, reading:

We see Hairless Penguin step out and look around. The crowd roars as Penguin takes a deep breath and starts to run to the ring.

Sharper: “And here could be the dark horse. The dark penguin if you will! He made it to the final three last year!”

Knots: “Stunned us all. He’s been training for weeks for this! Will he be the first flightless bird to win the Taking Hold of the Flame!”

Penguin runs down to the ring as Xander just muscles Luz up and over to the apron. Luz then grabs Xander as Hayes runs over and nails Xander from behind. Xander turns as Luz falls to the apron and rolls back in. Hayes nails Xander with a series of hard right hands. Penguin looks at Kim as Kim reaches the ringside area.

Kim: “Hey! Penguin! Hey! Look! We’re good-“

Penguin backs away and spins around, tripping on the mats. He then gets up and backs away before turning and rolling into the ring. Kim yells at him. Penguin gets up and runs over to Ace. Ace yells out as Penguin kicks him in the ribs over and over. The crowd roars. Penguin grabs him and pulls him up and whips him into the ropes. Ace bounces off and Penguin hits a crossbody. He rolls over and turns and runs over to Luz and shoulders her in the corner. Penguin shoulders her over and over again before turning back to Ace as Ace gets up and hits a forearm shot and then another and another. We cut back to Kim who manages to move the cart to the barricade. She then nods before standing up. She tells fans to stop.

Sharper: “Penguin going after Ace Marshall. Maybe trying to win some points with Lexy Chapel now that Syren is out.”

Knots: “Kim’s standing in her cart. You don’t think…”

Sharper: “She’s thinking about it.”

Kim looks at the ring as Polly gets up too. Lyman heads over and goes to help Hayes with Xander as Ace covers up against Penguin. Polly then runs across and kicks Luz in the ribs. The One stirs as she looks around, taking her moment to rest. Kim climbs onto the barricade and then then takes a moment before stepping forward and diving forward and landing on the steel steps. She more throws herself at it, managing to land on it. She grimaces in pain as she does, but holds on, avoiding her feet from hitting the mat.

Sharper: “I don’t believe it! Kimberly Williams has made it back to the ring!”

Knots: “She’s made it to the steps! If someone knocks her off-“

Sharper: “And now she’s in the ring.”

Kim pulls herself up and throws herself through the ropes into the ring. The crowd cheers. Penguin then grabs Ace and pulls him up, but Ace rakes his eyes and then kicks Penguin in the ribs before hitting a release tiger bomb. Ace steps out and turns only for Kim to hit him with the Morrigan’s Wrath!

Sharper: “Superkick! Another to Ace! That one for Ace sending her down the rampway!”

Knots: “Ace just got out of Penguin and now has Kim to deal with!”

Sharper: “And Kim has plans!”

Kim rolls to the floor. She walks over to the cart.

Kim pulls out Wasley before Alpha King by Rev Theory plays. The crowd erupts in cheers before Lucas Knight walks out from the back in a suit. The crowd cheers some more. Kim turns to the entrance way.

Sharper: “Lucas Knight out next…”

Knots: “Uh…did he not realize he’s wrestling either?”

Knight: “Ladies and gentlemen…I told you I would be involved tonight in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. And I am…just not as a competitor. Because I have found someone worthy of my mentorship and attention…Ladies and gentlemen…the Munich Mauler…Dieter Wagner!”

“Engel” by Rammstein plays as the crowd looks on before we see a large man walk out, wearing a robe. Lucas Knight turns to him and nods before starting to lead him to the ring. Lyman and Hayes turn to the entrance as Ace stirs. Katie looks up too. The One starts to get up as Polly turns from Luz. Xander is down in the corner as everyone turns to this man heading to the ring.

Sharper: “Dieter Wagner…the Munich Mauler. Lucas Knight leading him to the ring!”

Knots: “Look at the size of him. We may have someone who can rival Xander!”

Wagner heads to the ring as Kim ignores the awe and turns and takes Wasley into the ring. She rolls into the ring and turns and jumps up, driving him into Ace. The crowd roars. Kim then turns and smirks before turning around. Kim then sees everyone watching. Kim waves at them instead before Wagner takes off his robe and steps onto the apron. He wipes his feet and steps into the ring. Kim then turns and looks at Wagner. She then extends her hand at him. Wagner just look at her before Kim introduces herself. He responds with a vicious overhead chop. Kim hits the mat, clearly feeling it as the crowd ohs. Hayes then runs at Wagner who chops him down. He follows up with a kneeing blow to Lyman before throwing him down. He headbutts Katie. Polly and The One run at him and they gets some hard shots in before Wagner shoves them both back and then lunges and drills both with a hard shoulder tackle. The One rolls over as Polly turns and gets up and Wagner places her head between his legs. He hoists her up and drops her with a vicious sitout powerbomb. Lucas smiles.

Sharper: “The man…he’s dissecting everyone. My God…a powerbomb!”

Knots: “Just planted Polly Playtime!”

Wagner gets up as Luz runs over and jumps up and goes for a hurricanrana, but Wagner holds her up and turns and hits another vicious sitout powerbomb. The crowd ohs. He gets up and then hits a second chop to Kim. Kim goes down. Penguin gets up and runs at Wagner who just grabs him and throws him across with a choke toss. Penguin hits the ropes and rolls over to the mat. Wagner then turns as he scoops Hayes up and slams him down with a sidewalk slam only to get up and be met with Xander Valentine. The two stand face to face as the countdown returns.

“Wolf Within” by Jonathon Young and Caleb Hyles plays as the crowd roars. Cassie Wolfe steps out from the back and looks around, throwing up the devil horns before then running down to the ring. Xander Valentine and Dieter Wagner remain face to face.

Sharper: “Cassie Wolfe about to make her entrance and I hate to say it, but the timing may be awful for her.”

Knots: “Yeah, I’d maybe let the two of them handle this.”

Wolfe jogs down to the ring as Xander and Wagner start to trade right hands in the ring. The crowd roars with each shot before Xander knees Wagner. Wagner chops Xander. Xander follows up with another knee and Wagner chops him. They trade a few more blows before Hayes, Lyman, Steward, The One and Penguin all get up and run over to the two men. They start to hammer away on Xander and on Wagner. Lyman, Hayes and The One work on Wagner while Steward and Penguin focus on Xander. They hammer away as Kim starts to get up and joins them. The crowd roars. Wolfe reaches the ring as Lyman, Hayes and The One manage to get Wagner down. Wolfe climbs up to the top rope and looks over and dives off with a 450 splash onto Wagner! The crowd erupts. Lucas paces.

Sharper: “Lyman, Hayes and the One got Wagner down. It took three and Wolfe quickly, focused, hits the huge 450 splash!”

Knots: “But now you got to get him up and over!”

Sharper: “Or they all go after Xander!”

Xander nails Penguin with a shot and then Katie before Hayes, Lyman, Wolfe and The One run over and attack Xander. The crowd erupts as Xander struggles and drops down to the ropes, getting repeated shots on him before Kim kicks at him too. Ace moves around and grabs Wasley as Polly and Luz stir. Ace grabs Wasley and then looks at him before running over and nailing Lyman in the back. The crowd ohs and boos. He nails Kim with him too. He then hits Penguin, knocking him back to the middle of the ring. Ace then turns and Wolfe kicks him in the ribs. She nails him with a series of hard rights as Xander falls to the mat. Hayes tries to drag him up. Katie tries to help too. Wolfe runs across the ring and bounces off and Ace hits a clothesline. He then turns and walks over to Wolfe and pulls her up, but Wolfe hits a jawbreaker. Ace falls back as Wolfe turns and Polly grabs her and tries to eliminate her. Wagner stirs as the countdown clock returns.

“No. 14 Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven begins playing. The crowd roars as Luz looks on, getting up concerned. We see Amelia Blythe limp out from the back. She grits her teeth as she heads down to the ring.

Sharper: “And Amelia Blythe now in at number twenty-six. Limping, still showing the aftereffects of her match with Bree Lancaster.”

Knots: “I don’t know about this. I know you want to be in it, but at what cost.”

Sharper: “Luz is there. And she’s looking on concerned.”

Xander stirs as Katie, The One and Hayes try to get him up. Wagner starts to get up as Luz gets up and Polly is knocked back by Wolfe. She turns and Ace grabs her and hits an Olympic Slam. Ace turns and gets up as Wolfe jumps up and hurricanranas him over. Wolfe gets up and Luz runs out and hits a spinning heel kick. Penguin and Lyman are down as The One is knocked back by Xander. She walks over to Wagner who scoops her up and hits a sidewalk slam. He turns and gets up and turns to Luz who kicks him in the ribs. Amelia Blythe continues to limp down the entrance way. Luz then grabs Wagner, but Wagner lifts her up and throws her forward with a flapjack, causing her to land chest first. The crowd ohs. Wagner then walks over and grabs Luz and pulls her up. Blythe sees this and pushes herself more and rolls into the ring. She gets up and runs at Wagner and nails him with a hard right and then another. Wagner kicks her in the knee. Blythe goes down and Luz then hits an enziguri kick. Wagner staggers. Luz pulls Blythe up. They run forward and both hit dropkicks on Wagner. Wagner staggers back. Both get up and then lunge, hitting double European uppercuts to Wagner. Wagner falls back to the ropes.

Sharper: “Light in the Darkness working together! Trying to get one of these two monsters out of there!”

Knots: “Wagner’s still up though!”

Wolfe gets up, joined by Lyman and Penguin. They all run over and Wagner steps up as Blythe and Luz push him back. Wagner tries to grab at them both they all get him up and lift him up. The crowd roars as Wagner goes up and over to the floor. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And Dieter Wagner, eliminated! And it took five people to do it!”

Knots: “But Xander is still in there!”

The five drop down and turn as Kim stirs too. Xander gets up as Ace crawls to the corner. Katie and Hayes then head over to Xander. Xander nails Katie with a forearm and then Hayes with one. Kim runs over and kicks him in the ribs. Lyman steps up, but just then, Penguin grabs Lyman and tries to eliminate him. The crowd roars as Lyman spins through and lands on the apron.

Lyman gets back in as Blythe and Luz hold ground in a corner, Luz stepping forward. Wolfe heads to Polly as the buzzer goes. “The Resistance” by Skillet plays as the crowd cheers as Justin Davis steps out from the back. He looks around and nods before starting to head to the ring.

Sharper: “Justin Davis! Justin Davis is number twenty-seven!”

Knots: “Good number. He’s hoping this could be the year. We remember how close he was in 2010. It’s been a long time. He’s always wanted to become World Champion!”

Davis heads to the ring as Polly struggles with Wolfe. Luz keeps guard of Blythe as Kim keeps working on Xander. Lyman gets back in as Penguin nails him with a hard right and then another. He turns and runs across the ring and bounces off and Lyman clotheslines him down. Lyman walks around and Katie grabs him and goes to try and eliminate him. The One gets up and goes over to and joins Katie in working over Lyman. Hayes looks around as he gets up as Davis slides into the ring. He gets up and Hayes attempts a clothesline, but Davis ducks and bounces off the other side and then hits the Bicycle Knee. The crowd ohs. Hayes goes down. Penguin gets up and Davis hoists him up onto his shoulders. Penguin fights but Davis steps over and throws him over the top rope with the Ragnarok. Penguin lands on the floor.

Sharper: “No Cinderella story for Hairless Penguin this year. Justin Davis ends his run short.”

Knots: “Just tossed him over.”

Davis turns and runs over to Lyman, Katie and One and lifts them up and over, but they all block it. Lyman ends up on the apron and rolls back in. Katie and The One stop their exits. Davis then turns to Luz and Blythe. Luz then runs at him and nails him with a hard right and then another. Davis then ducks the third and lifts her up and hits a throw forward back suplex. Davis gets up as Blythe lunges at Davis and spins around him and tries for a crossface chickenwing. Davis fights for a moment as Xander nails Kim and knocks her off. Just then, Xander steps up and boots Blythe. Blythe falls forward as Davis does too. Xander then looks around and walks over to Wolfe and Polly. He tries to eliminate them. They both land on the apron and roll back in. Xander turns as Davis looks at him and steps up to him. The crowd roars. The countdown clock returns.

Sharper: “Xander and Davis up.”

Knots: “Some of the old guard in there. Some of the names of SCW’s past. The legacy. The history. Davis, Xander, Hayes is in there. Marshall, Katie Steward, Simon Lyman and….”

The buzzer goes and “Duality” by Slipknot plays. The crowd erupts as Xander and Davis both turn to the entrance way. Josh Hudson steps out from the back, dressed in his hoodie. He pulls it over his head and throws it to the crowd before running down to the ring.

Sharper: “And another favourite. The former World Champion.”

Knots: “And someone Xander and Justin Davis both have a long history with!”

Hudson continues to head to the ring as Xander and Davis wait for him. Hudson runs down and slides into the ring. He gets up as he then looks at Xander and then to Davis and smiles before just clocking Xander with a hard right. Xander staggers. Hudson turns to Davis and Davis nails him with a hard right. Hudson fires back. The two grab each other’s head and hammer away with repeated right hands as the crowd roars. They keep going as the crowd roars and then Xander runs over and clotheslines both down. Davis and Hudson hit the mat. Xander turns as Polly then runs over and dropkicks Xander in the jaw. Polly rolls over and gets up and Wolfe hits a spinning heel kick. Polly rolls over, annoyed. Wolfe turns to Hudson and Hudson catches him and hits a belly to belly suplex. Hudson gets up and Davis kicks him in the ribs. He sets him up for Ragnarok. Hudson fights out and slides down and then hoists Davis up onto his shoulders. Davis fights out and elbows out and then Lyman and Kim lunge and hit double superkicks on Davis and Hudson.

Sharper: “Davis and Hudson, right into the superkicks!”

Knots: “Focused too much on each other!”

Lyman staggers and turns as Kim then turns to Lyman, but Hayes runs at both and hits a flying clothesline. He gets up and The One runs in from behind and knees him in the back of the head. Hayes goes down. The One turns as Luz kicks her in the ribs. She runs across the ring and Blythe remains stationary only for them to connect with the Frozen Gauntlet. Luz and Blythe turn and Katie then takes Blythe down and steps through, locking in a sharpshooter. Blythe yells in pain. Luz turns and goes to save Katie, but Xander grabs her foot and pulls her back. Luz kicks at Xander and manages to get free. Just then, Ace runs over and hits a running elbow drop, stopping Luz. Blythe starts to tap out from the sharpshooter. Ace rolls over and looks over as Xander then looks on as Katie then lets go and steps forward.

Sharper: “Katie Steward with the sharpshooter. Blythe caught as Luz stopped by Xander and Ace.”

Knots: “Every person for themselves and that may burn Light in the Darkness!”

Blythe rolls over, clutching her leg in pain. Katie steps up and turns and Xander grabs her and hits a chokeslam. The crowd ohs. Xander turns as Ace then runs over and nails him from behind. Xander leans on the ropes. Ace starts to lift him up, struggling. Blythe moves to the ropes as Luz rolls over. The countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes. “Get Ready For This” by 2 UNLIMITED plays as Jamison Logan runs out from the back and heads to the ring. In the ring, Xander holds on, struggling as Lyman and Kim stir. Hudson and Davis start to get up too.

Sharper: “Jamison Logan, the product of Blackout Academy, now on his way in.”

Knots: “And he can hit hard!”

Sharper: “He can. And that could be a difference maker in this one.”

Logan runs down to the ring as Xander elbows his way out of it and drops down. Ace falls over to the corner. Lyman gets up and walks over to Blythe. Luz turns and looks at Lyman and lunges. Lyman looks down before Kim then taps him on the shoulder. Lyman turns and grabs her, but Kim bites his finger. He turns back as Logan slides in. He then runs at Kim and hits the Bull Rush. He drops down and hits a second Bull Rush on Lyman. He turns and looks at Hudson and Davis and runs at Davis and catches him with one. He turns and then sees Xander and hits the Log Jam! The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Logan is fearless!”

Knots: “He just dropped Xander Valentine!”

Logan then turns and lunges at Hudson, but Hudson catches him and hits a belly to belly suplex, sending him up and over. The crowd ohs as Logan rolls over on the floor. The crowd ohs. Hudson gets up and smirks and turns back to Blythe. Luz then runs over and clubs him in the back, nailing him again and again and again. She then backs up and runs at him. Hudson catches him, but Blythe gets up and nails him in the ribs. Hudson falls back into the corner. Luz backs up and Wolfe jumps up and catches her with the Greenest Wizard. The crowd ohs. Wolfe then looks at her and then turns to Blythe only for Playtime to run up behind Wolfe and hit a running dropkick. Wolfe goes up and over and lands on the floor.

Sharper: “Wolfe eliminated! Polly saving Blythe as Wolfe was going to work on her.”

Knots: “Only a temporary reprieve. Wolfe left her flank open!”

Polly then gets up and turns to Blythe. Blythe swings at her, trying to hit her with anything she can before Polly stomps her over and over again. Blythe falls to the ropes. Polly then grabs her and pulls her up and Luz gets up and grabs her and attempts a dragon suplex. Polly blocks this one and elbows her. Luz turns around and walks into Davis who grabs her and throws her over the top rope. The crowd ohs. Blythe then hits a European uppercut on Polly.

Sharper: “Luz out! Blythe fighting for all she can!”

Polly hits the mat. Blythe steps up and Ace runs at her and grabs Blythe and spins her around and throws her up and over the top rope and to the floor. Blythe lands on her leg and falls to the mats, rolling into the American announce table hard. She clutches her leg. The crowd ohs as Ace turns around and Hudson runs at him and clotheslines him up and over, eliminating him! The crowd roars into a mixed reaction!

Sharper: “Blythe eliminated by Ace! She needs help!”

Knots: “She does. She’s holding that leg!”

Sharper: “Ace! Ace! Hudson from behind! No third Flame win!”

Ace looks up, somewhat surprised. Hudson smirks as the countdown returns.

“Act a Fool” by Ludacris plays and the crowd buzzes as Jonny Airhart walks out from the back. He looks around and nods before jogging down to the ring. Hudson turns around in the ring as Davis then knocks him down with a clothesline. He stomps him again as Polly turns and moves to Kim. Lyman heads over to the One as Xander looks around. Katie moves to the corner. Jonny Airhart runs over and hands a card to a fan before nodding and running down to the ring. Katie stirs as Lyman kicks The One in the ribs. Polly grabs Kim and runs her into the corner. Kim turns as Polly tries to drag him up. Hudson heads over to Xander and forearms him in the jaw. Airhart slides into the ring and runs across the ring and bounces off and hits a running dropkick to the back of Polly, knocking her down and causing Kim to fall over. Airhart gets up and Katie steps up to him only for him to hip toss her down and then hit a standing moonsault. Airhart turns and sees Davis up and then grabs him and pulls him out before hitting a ripcord lariat. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Airhart in and quickly showing the value of being fresh. You hit harder. You move faster.”

Knots: “And he’s got some speed.”

Sharper: “That he does. He’s known as a high-flier. In the fray here and we’ll see what he can do.”

Airhart turns and grabs Davis and lifts him up and tries to eliminate him. He twists over the top rope and lands on the apron before moving back in. The One knocks Lyman back and Airhart jumps up and hits a frankensteiner. He then jumps up and hits a standing shooting star press. The crowd ohs. Airhart turns as The One nails him with a hard right and then another and another. She goes to whip him across the ring. He runs in, bounces off and hits a flying headscissors. He gets up as Kim then runs out and past him, grabbing his head and pulling him down with a neckbreaker. Kim rolls over and gets up. She turns and stomps Airhart before going over to Polly and nailing her with a hard right. She hits the mat. Kim turns and heads over to Hudson as Hudson is knocked back by Xander. Kim then kicks him in the ribs. She then grabs him and runs him into the corner. She tries to lift him up. Xander steps up and grabs Airhart, but Davis enters and clubs him in the back. Davis turns Xander around and nails him with a hard right before bringing him to the ropes and trying to eliminate him.

Sharper: “Airhart still up. Xander struggling with Davis. Kim trying to eliminate Hudson.”

Knots: “And you have some big threats in there. Even Hayes. I missed him. He’s been down for a bit.”

Sharper: “Maybe a new strategy. The One caught him with that knee and maybe now he’s trying to just keep the attention off him.”

Knots: “He’s been in for a while. Kim too. So take the break. You’re going to need it!”

The countdown clock returns as the camera focuses on Hayes who remains on the apron, lying down. We see his eyes darting around.

“Immortal” by Ozzy Osbourne plays as the crowd cheers. Glory Braddock steps out from the back and looks down at the ring. She scans the ring and nods before starting to head to the ring.

Sharper: “Another potential favourite. Can she win tonight and main event Rise to Greatness for the second time.”

Knots: “Glory Braddock, another former World Champion, and the level of talent rises.”

In the ring, Xander clubs at Davis, trying to get free as Hudson goes up and over. He remains on the apron and hits a guillotine to Kim. Hudson rolls back in. Kim turns and Airhart hits a flying clothesline. Airhart gets up and turns as Katie staggers up. Hayes keeps watching. Lyman moves to the ropes. Katie clubs him in the back. Lyman falls to a knee. Xander steps up and then sees Hayes and grabs him, but Hayes kicks him in the head. Xander staggers back and The One runs at him and hits a lunging knee. The crowd ohs as Xander falls to the mat. Polly rolls out of the ring. Glory then rolls into the ring and gets up. Airhart runs at her, but Glory lowers her head and hoists him up and he goes up and over with a back drop to the floor.

Sharper: “Up and over! Airhart gone. Glory in mere seconds and eliminates Jonny Airhart.”

Knots: “There’s a think called being too aggressive!”

Glory steps up as grabs The One and hits a release fisherman’s suplex. She gets up and turns as Lyman runs at her before she hits a back elbow. Glory then turns as Hayes dropkicks her. She falls back into the corner. Asher then heads after her and nails her with a hard right and then another before hoisting her up onto the middle turnbuckle. He goes to grab her, but Hudson grabs Hayes from behind and hits a release German suplex. Braddock then dives off with a London Plunge onto Hudson. Hudson rolls over in pain. Braddock gets up and Davis forearms her. Braddock falls to the corner. Kim turns and grabs Lyman and tries to get him up with Katie. Lyman holds on and keeps fighting.

Sharper: “And everyone trying to eliminate whomever they can. But you have some tired people. Kim getting over an hour.”

Knots: “She did have her shopping cart siesta!”

Sharper: “Hayes is up there too. Lyman going to forty minutes.”

Knots: “Katie too!”

Sharper: “The One over an hour too.”

Knots: “And someone else going to join!”

The countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes. “California Love” by 2Pac Shakur plays. The crowd boos as Sal Darius steps out from the back, arms outstretched. He smirks and nods before starting to head down to the ring, jogging down the entrance way. Lyman continues to struggle against Kim and Katie as Braddock is lifted up by Davis. Xander stirs as The One starts to get up. Hayes crawls to the ropes as Hudson starts to get up. The One heads over and nails Davis in the ribs. Davis drops Glory. The One nails Davis again and then starts to lift him up. Lyman catches Katie with a forearm and drops down to the mat. Kim nails him with a forearm shot. Darius slides into the ring. Hudson stirs and Darius quickly hits a bicycle kick and Hudson goes down. The crowd ohs as Darius turns and nails Katie with a hard right. He then pulls her in and then hits a vertical suplex.

Sharper: “Darius now trying to put a good start to his battle royal appearance. His first in SCW history.”

Knots: “While Lyman still fighting Kim Williams. The One has a second wind or something. Davis struggling.”

Xander stirs as does Hayes. Glory gets up and nails Darius with a forearm shot and then another before Glory kicks him in the ribs. She runs into the ropes, bouncing off and Darius catches her with a roundhouse kick. Sal Darius then smirks and poses before stomping her in the face. Glory rolls over and to the ropes. Darius grabs her and starts to choke her on the ropes. Lyman fights back against Kim, knocking her back. She turns back as Davis goes up and over and then shoulders The One in the ribs. The One falls into Kim and Lyman jumps to the middle rope and hits a double back elbow. The One and Kim fall back. Lyman turns as Hayes then kicks him in the ribs and hits a snap suplex. Hayes gets up as Hudson then grabs him and lifts him up and tries to eliminate him. Hayes holds on.

Sharper: “Hudson trying to get Hayes out!”

Knots: “And look! Look! Glory could be in trouble too!”

Glory holds on, hooking her arms as she can as Darius tries to lift her up. Darius smiles as he does. Davis enters and starts to help. Darius and Glory get her up. Glory ends up on the apron and nails Darius with a forearm and then Davis and then Darius before hitting a pump kick to Davis. Davis falls back. Glory dives back in. The countdown clock returns. Darius stomps away on Glory.

“I Am Machine” by Three Days Grace plays and the crowd erupts. Brittany Lohan bursts out of the back before the running down the entrance way to the ring.

Sharper: “Entering next! The War Machine, Brittany Lohan!”

Knots: “And this just got more interesting! She’s coming out here like a bolt of lightning!”

Darius continues to stomp away on Glory as Davis grabs at the ropes. Hayes goes up and over before Kim nails Hudson in the back. Hudson falls over and into the corner. Kim follows up as Lohan slides into the ring. Darius starts to choke Glory before Lohan heads over to him and grabs him and just throws him back. Darius rolls through as the crowd roars. Lohan looks at Darius as Darius gets up and smirks and nods. He steps up and Lohan headbutts him. The crowd ohs. Lohan then forearms him in the jaw before shoving him to the ropes. Lohan turns back as Glory starts to get up only for Lyman to run across the ring and clotheslining Darius up and over. The crowd roars. Lyman turns and just then, Hayes runs over and clotheslines Lyman up and over the top rope and to the floor. Lyman looks up and then falls back, stunned. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “And Lyman is out! Lyman just eliminated Darius! And Hayes from behind! Asher Hayes has ended Lyman’s run!”

Knots: “And Lyman is beside himself!”

Lohan turns and forearms Xander as Glory looks at Lohan and then gets up and turns and looks around. Katie heads over to her. Davis moves around as Hayes turns and Davis forearms him in the jaw. Hayes falls back into the corner. Hudson manages to fight off Kim as The One stirs. Lohan lifts Xander up as Xander holds on. Polly then rolls back into the ring and runs up behind Lohan and nails her in the back with a series of hard rights.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime. I forgot about her!”

Knots: “She’s been away for bit.”

Sharper: “She rolled out of the ring. And now going after Lohan!”

Lyman gets up and turns back to the ring, but the officials stop him. He turns and shoves one back and then snaps at him before turning and looking around and kicking the ringsteps. He turns and heads to the back. Back in the ring, Hudson heads over to Glory who kicks him in the ribs. Glory forearms him in the jaw and Hudson knees her in the ribs. He then spins around and goes for a German suplex, but Glory elbows out of it. Hudson turns as Katie then kicks Glory in the ribs and then hooks her head and hits a Hairflip DDT. Katie turns as Hudson looks around as Hayes fights off Davis. Hudson grabs Katie and turns and hits a side belly to belly suplex. Katie rolls over. The countdown clock returns as Polly then jumps to the ropes and hits a springboard leg lariat to the jaw of Brittany Lohan, knocking her down.

“Whoa Is Me” by Down With Webster plays and the crowd erupts in cheers. “The All Star” Gavin Taylor steps out from the back and looks around the arena. The crowd cheers as a loud “Gavin!” chant breaks out. Gavin Taylor looks around and then points to the ring and heads down to it.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor! The All Star! Number thirty-four! He’s back!”

Knots: “He’s been away on a retreat! No more! He’s back and he’s focused on Rise to Greatness XX!”

Gavin Taylor runs down to the ring, the camera follows him all the way down, while the action remains in the ring. Taylor slides into the ring and looks around before Polly steps up and Gavin Taylor hits the Gavin Taylor Lariat! The crowd erupts. He turns and looks around and runs at Hudson and drops him with a lariat. Taylor holds up a two before running across and nailing Davis with one. The crowd cheers again. Gavin spins around and hits a Gavin Taylor Lariat on Asher Hayes. He then turns and looks around before running at Glory who ducks the Lariat. Gavin however stops and Glory turns and Gavin hits the Chuck Taurus Roundhouse. The crowd cheers again as Brittany then runs at Gavin and knees him in the ribs. She clubs him in the back. He places his lead between his legs.

Knots: “The Gavin Taylor Lariat Experience may be coming to an end!”

Sharper: “Brittany Lohan just muscling him over. And now maybe thinking powerbomb!”

Lohan hoists Gavin up, but Gavin goes through and rolls down to his feet and runs into the ropes. Lohan turns and Gavin Taylor hits another Lariat onto her. The crowd erupts as Gavin Taylor looks around as Xander steps up and looks at him. The One remains down as does Kim. Gavin turns as Xander steps up. Gavin looks at Xander and nods. The two share some words. The crowd just cheers some more. Gavin nods and then lunges at him. Xander grabs him and shoves him back. Gavin bounces off the ropes and hits a Gavin Taylor Lariat. Xander takes it and staggers.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor Lariat on Xander. As these two friends face off and remember, Gavin lost to Xander Valentine and that sent Gavin on his path away from the ring!”

Gavin turns and runs into the ropes again and hits a second Gavin Taylor Lariat. The crowd ohs as Xander staggers. Gavin then turns and runs into the ropes, hitting them and bouncing off only for Xander to boot Gavin in the face. Gavin goes down. Xander then bends over to grab him, but Kim runs over and jumps onto the back of Xander. The crowd roars as Xander remains on his feet as The One runs over and kicks Xander in the ribs. Xander falls over as Kim hammers away. The countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes off and the crowd roars as jaunty and generic royalty free music begins to play throughout the arena. On the big screen, a unicorn gallops across a beautiful, flowery field, leaving petals exploding into the air underneath its hooves. It gets closer to the camera as it prepares to fly off, but not before evacuating its bowels, which take the form of letters in a bubble font, reading:

From behind the curtain, Dancing Bear awkwardly moonwalks out onto the stage. He then falls over. The Dancing Bear instinctively grabs at his head and then gets up to his feet. He then turns and starts to head to the ring. In the ring, The One and Kim continue their assault on Xander Valentine.

Sharper: “And Lexy Chapel’s last hope! The Dancing Bear and he seems more nervous than normal!”

Knots: “Tripped on the entrance, but the story may be that Xander Valentine is getting mugged by numbers two and three in this match!”

Xander continues to cover up before Gavin Taylor gets up and nails The One from behind. The One turns as Gavin shoulders her back into the corner. He hits a series of shoulder thrusts. Kim then looks at Gavin and turns to Xander. Xander grabs her by the throat. Kim kicks him in the stomach a few times and Xander lets go. Kim then backs up only for Hudson to come up behind Xander and hit a German suplex while Hayes hits Kim with the Dust to Dust! The Dancing Bear reaches the ringside area and looks around before then turning and rolling onto the apron and trying to get in. His head is stuck in the ropes. She holds on as Polly Playtime and Katie Steward both head over and grab the Bear and pull her into the ring. Polly and Katie then start to stomp away on the Bear. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Bear’s entrance not what you want.”

Knots: “He got too big-headed!”

Sharper: “Polly Playtime and Katie Steward going to work.”

Davis knees Lohan in the ribs and nails her with a hard right. He lifts her up and tries to eliminate her as Braddock stirs. Gavin then pulls The One out and hits a DDT. Xander rolls over as Hudson turns and forearms Gavin in the jaw. Gavin falls back to the ropes. Hayes starts to grab Kim and Glory runs over and nails Hayes from behind. Hayes falls into the ropes. Glory now tries to lift him up. The One rolls over as Kim turns to the ropes. Hudson starts to try to eliminate Gavin. Katie and Polly pull the Dancing Bear up and to his feet. They start to lift him up, and Bear tries to grab at anything he can. Davis is knocked back by Lohan. Lohan then steps up and goes for the For Your Eyes Only and instead catches Polly with it. Polly goes down. Katie loses her grip. Katie turns and nails Lohan. Lohan staggers and Katie nails her again before Davis clotheslines both down. Bear moves to the corner. Davis turns around and Bear runs at him and hits a running Yakuza kick. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Bear with a hell of a kick!”

Knots: “Didn’t know he had that in him. He got his head up and caught Davis!”

The countdown clock returns.

The buzzer goes and “Savin Me” by Nickelback plays. Kelsai Adamson steps out from the back and looks around and then starts to head down to the ring. Bear turns as Xander starts to get up and Bear then grabs him and jumps up and hits a sitout facebuster!

Knots: “Look!”

Sharper: “The Dancing Bear just hit Xander Valentine…with the Total Makeover!”

Knots: “Syren’s having a good influence on them I guess!”

Xander rolls over as Bear gets up only for Lohan to run over and nail Bear in the back of the head. Bear stumbles over and falls before getting up in the corner. Lohan forearms her with a couple of shots to the ribs. Katie stirs as Gavin goes up and over and ends up on the apron. Hudson grabs him but Gavin nails him with a shot before Gavin uses the middle rope and launches him into a spear onto Hudson. Gavin rolls over. Katie gets up as Kelsai Adamson enters the ring and Adamson quickly grabs her and tries to eliminate her. Katie ends up hanging up on the top rope, barely holding on. Kelsai then runs over and nails Glory and starting to lift her up. The crowd roars. Hayes lands on the apron and rolls back in.

Sharper: “And Kelsai coming in and not going for moves. Just going for eliminations!”

Knots: “Not bad. I mean you need to get them over the top. Not just take them out!”

Glory holds on as Lohan gets a few more shots in on Bear. Lohan then turns and as Davis gets up and Davis takes her down. Davis hits her with a couple of hard shots as the crowd roars. Glory elbows her way out of danger and drops back down. Kelsai staggers back. Katie then nails her with a forearm shot and runs her into the ropes. Kelsai holds on as Katie then starts to try and eliminate her. Glory walks around as Hayes kicks her in the ribs. He then hits a snap suplex before he rolls over, exhausted. Hudson stirs as Gavin grabs the Dancing Bear and lifts him up. Bear starts to hold his hands up as Gavin then kicks him in the ribs over and over.

Sharper: “Bear getting stomped away by Gavin Taylor and Gavin Taylor is a big friend of Nicole Kinneck!”

Knots: “Bear can’t catch a break! He just wanted to be done with Ducky!”

Bear drops down to a seated position as Gavin stomps her a few more times. He then looks around before grabbing Bear and dragging him up. He turns and places him on the top rope and starts to lift him up. Bear holds on as best as he can. Davis grabs Lohan and drags her up. He hoists her up and places her against the ropes and tries to eliminate her. The crowd roars as Glory stirs. Kelsai elbows way from Katie and then pulls her down with the snap DDT. The crowd ohs. The countdown clock returns.He h

There’s a record scratch before a deep voice fills the arena.

“INFAMOUS!”

The opening of “Open Your Eyes” by Guano Apes hits the PA system.

“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”

The song gets stuck on the word and is then interrupted by the deep sound of the voice of Marilyn Manson.

“Just lay your head in daddy’s lap
You’re a bad girl!”

“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as we see Ravyn Taylor not running down the rampway, but forcing her way through the crowd. She then runs forward to the barricade and hops over. She then runs around the ring and goes over to the side where Gavin has Dancing Bear over and Ravyn reaches up and grabs the head of Dancing Bear and pulls it off. We then see blonde hair as Gavin stops and looks over. Syren is in the Bear suit. She looks around as Ravyn looks at her, shaking her head. She then throws the Bear head down as Ravyn rolls into the ring and gets up as Gavin now tries to eliminate Syren more and Ravyn kicks him in the ribs. Gavin falls over to the corner.

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor out here. Number thirty-seven. And she just exposed that Syren is in the Dancing Bear’s suit!”

Knots: “And look at the disappointment. The tug of war over Syren’s future continues!”

Sharper: “She turned to Lexy Chapel. Ravyn Taylor has always remained with one finger in the proverbial pie of Syren’s career for the last several months. While Syren’s career has gone in new directions.”

Knots: “Really Sharper…well, it is pride month after all! Happy Pride Everyone! Screw you homophobes and bigots!”

Ravyn then turns to Syren as Syren steps up, her head visible in the bear suit. Ravyn can clearly be shown saying “really?” Ravyn says something to Syren before Syren shakes her head. Ravyn then shrugs before then jumping up and going for the Evolutionary Synthesis. Syren blocks it and throws her down. Ravyn rolls over and gets up and just then, Gavin grabs her and spins her around and throws her over the top rope. As this happens, Brittany Lohan, now free from Davis, runs at Syren and clotheslines her up and over. Syren can’t grab onto the ropes and falls to the floor. Polly Playtime then comes up behind Lohan and lifts her up and throws her up and over. Lohan lands on the floor as the crowd roars. Gavin then turns as Polly spins and turns as Glory clotheslines her down.

Sharper: “And Gavin eliminates Ravyn! Lohan eliminates Syren!”

Knots: “And Polly! Polly Playtime has Lohan!”

Sharper: “Three big eliminations right there!”

Kelsai staggers out and goes over to Hudson and nails him with a shot as Kim grabs Davis. Xander stirs as The One tries to recover. Hayes gets up too and runs over and nails Glory with a hard right. Glory falls to the corner as Hayes tries to eliminate her. Glory struggles. Hudson reaches at the ropes as Kelsai tries to eliminate. Syren looks up at the ring as Ravyn turns and glares at her. She heads to the back, shaking her head. Lohan looks up, annoyed too as the countdown clock returns.

The buzzer sounds as “Relentless” by New Years Day plays. The crowd cheers as Amy Chastaine walks out from the back. She looks around and then focuses on the ring before starting to head down to the ring. The crowd cheers loudly.

Sharper: “And Amy Chastaine in at number thirty-eight! Her return to this match!”

Knots: “And she’s on her own. Simon’s out. She said though she’s going to try. Time to see how much of the rust is worked off!”

Gavin pulls Polly up as Katie heads over to Gavin and clubs him in the back. Katie spins Gavin around and kicks him in the ribs. Gavin falls back into the corner. Gavin struggles as Katie tries to lift him up. Polly stirs as Kelsai tries to lift Hudson up. Hudson fights her off. Amy continues to jog down to the ring. Hayes gets Glory up and over. Glory ends up on the apron and rolls back in. Davis fights off Kim as Amy hops onto the apron. She then slingshots to the middle rope and dives back, hitting the Blackout on Kelsai Adamson! The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And the Blackout! On Kelsai Adamson!”

Amy gets up and turns and hits a jumping calf kick to the head of Hayes. She turns and then chops Glory with a shot and then another. She whips her across. Kim then hits a hip toss. Kim turns around and Amy kicks her in the ribs and hooks her head hitting the Vortex. Kim rolls over. Amy gets up and Davis knees her in the ribs. He clubs her in the back. He whips her across and she bounces off as Davis hits a powerslam. He gets up and Hudson clotheslines him down. Hudson then walks around and Xander gets up and clotheslines him down. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Xander back up with a big clothesline. As some big hits there.”

Knots: “But each shot just takes more out of both!”

Xander starts to get up as Katie keeps trying to lift him up, but Polly runs over to Xander and grabs him and hits the Polly Pop. The crowd ohs. Xander rolls over. Polly then grabs him and The One gets up. She heads over as Amy rolls over. Glory starts to get up and she goes over to try and lift Xander up, before One headbutts Polly. She nails Amy with a shot. Amy nails her and they scrap a bit while Glory tries to get Xander up onto the ropes. She tries to lift her up as the crowd roars. Gavin fights off Katie and Katie staggers off. Hayes then tries to help Glory. The countdown clock returns.

The buzzer sounds as the arena darkens before:

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan

The Nyan cat appears on the screen, with the crowd popping. The cat in a poptart, farting rainbows steers around and breaks right into the screen, showing a window crack before breaking. At that moment, “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL’s opening riffs plays, and the girls' voice count:

One-Two-Three-Four!

Out pops YUYO from behind the curtains, being carried by Beezelbubble while Meowkazawa drives the Religious Wright cart from earlier. The crowd roars as YUYO thrusts her arm up. Meowkazawa drives YUYO all the way down to the ring.

Knots: “YUYO and company just stole from Religious Wright!”

Sharper: “That’s his cart. But YUYO being carried while being driven to the ring!”

The crowd cheers as the cart makes the drive down the entrance way before stopping at the ringside area. Beezelbubble carries YUYO to the apron. YUYO hops up and enters the ring as Kelsai gets up and YUYO runs right for her. Kelsai backs up as YUYO jumps up and crossbodies Kelsai and the two go up and over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd cheers as YUYO rolls through. She gets up and points at Kelsai.

YUYO: “For justice!”

YUYO then heads off as Xander fights off Glory and then Hayes. Amy kicks The One in the ribs and whips her into the ropes. She then hits a dropkick on the rebound.

Sharper: “I guess it was for justice, Jon!”

Knots: “I guess so. She entered the battle royal just to eliminate Kelsai Adamson!”

Sharper: “And for justice.”

YUYO walks around the ring as Meowkazawa tries to turn the cart around. YUYO hops onto the cart and they drive down the entrance way. Back in the ring, Xander boots Gavin in the face as he steps up. Polly kicks Amy in the ribs and attempts to throw her over. Kim slowly gets up as Davis grabs her and knees her in the ribs. Hudson turns as Xander walks over to him and nails him with a shot. Hudson falls back into the corner. Xander elbows him in the jaw once and then again before dragging him out and going to whip him across. Hudson hits the corner and Xander runs out and Hudson recovers enough for both to clothesline each other down. Hudson rolls over. Katie nails Glory with a shot as she then tries to eliminate her as The One slowly gets up. Asher Hayes goes over to help Katie with Glory.

Sharper: “And with the countdown clock about to return, we know now who has number forty.”

Knots: “Talk about the luck of the draw…”

The countdown clock returns.

“Whore” by In This Moment plays as Kandis steps out from the back as the crowd boos. Kandis looks at the ring and starts to storm down the entrance way to the ring.

Sharper: “Number forty. Kandis!”

Knots: “With all of the motivation in the world and the best pick she could have. Someone in that ring is going to Rise to Greatness XX! And I have my new favourite!”

Kandis makes her way to the ring as in the ring, Hayes and Katie struggle with Glory. Glory looks around and tries to grab onto Katie. Katie yells as Glory pulls on the hair and turns over to the apron. The One stirs as Hudson and Xander start to recover. Davis keeps trying to eliminate Kim, while Amy nails Polly with a couple of shots and Polly stumbles out. Kandis reaches the ring and rolls in. She then steps up and Amy lunges at her only for Kandis to lifts her up onto her shoulders and lift her up and over the top rope. Amy spins through and lands on the floor and rolls over. The crowd ohs. Kandis turns and Xander gets up and Kandis hits a superkick to her. Hudson nails Kandis with a shot and then another and another, knocking her back. Gavin leans as Glory goes up and over to the apron. The One then heads over to Katie, Hayes and Glory. Hayes shifts as The One and Hayes lift Katie and Glory up. Hudson then backs up to Kandis but runs forward. Kandis side steps and Hudson spins through to the apron. Polly runs at Hudson and Hudson forearms her, but Kandis hits the Starmaker and Hudson falls to the mat. Glory and Katie are dumped to the floor. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “My God! Kandis in and quickly eliminates two!”

Knots: “In front! In front!”

Sharper: “The One and Hayes get Braddock and Steward out!”

Knots: “Hudson’s out! Kandis eliminating him. Four former World Champions right there! Gone!”

Kandis turns and steps up and nails Polly with a shot as Gavin steps up. Kandis and Gavin look at one another. The crowd roars. Gavin and Kandis just continue to look at one another, nothing needing to be said. Kandis finally tells him off. Gavin nods and Gavin shrugs. Just as they are about to lunge at one another, Kim is knocked back by Davis. Davis falls into Gavin. Gavin falls over as The One heads over to Kandis and nails her with a couple of hard rights. Xander remains back watching as Davis and Gavin get up. Kandis staggers to the ropes as Davis turns and kicks Gavin in the ribs. He then hoists him up onto his shoulders, setting up for a Ragnarok, but Gavin slides down behind him and shoves him off. Davis falls forward and into Polly Playtime who pulls on the top rope. Davis goes up and over to the floor. The crowd roars. Gavin then runs at Polly as Polly gets a boot up. Gavin falls back. Polly then turns before Kim hits her with Morrigan’s Wrath and Polly goes up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Davis out! Polly eliminating him.”

Knots: “She knocked Gavin off, but Kim Williams with the superkick!”

Sharper: “Everyone knows that one of the people in that ring is going to Rise to Greatness XX to challenge for the World Title!”

Kim turns as Hayes then runs over and nails her with a clothesline. The One whips Kandis across the ring. Kandis bounces off as One lowers her head. Kandis kicks her in the chest. The One staggers back and Kandis goes for a Starmaker, but feigns it, stopping. The One ducks and then Xander grabs her from behind and spins her around, throwing her to the floor.

Sharper: “And Xander eliminates the One. She was worried about Kandis. Kandis may have had something else in mind but-“

Knots: “Look!”

Kandis, Hayes and Gavin then all run at Xander. They push him back to the ropes. Kim slowly gets up and watches as Xander grabs at the ropes, but Hayes, Kandis and Gavin all hoist him up. Xander frantically tries to move his hands to get more leverage, but they dump him up and over to the floor!

Sharper: “And Xander is eliminated! The battle royal eludes him again! Xander Valentine now has no choice but to hope Selena win tonight to stop Adam!”

Knots: “And look at Xander!”

Xander looks up and turns and moves to the ropes. He grabs at them as Gavin, Kandis and Hayes all move back.

Knots: “And the only one not involved – Kim! She just watched!”

Sharper: “Xander has been blaming Kim for a while for giving Adam an extra shot!”

Xander is pulled back by the officials as he turns and spins around, annoyed. He then stops at the barricade as we cut back to the ring to see Gavin Taylor, Kandis, Asher Hayes and Kimberly Williams in each corner.

Sharper: “Now we are at the final four. Someone is going to win the Taking Hold of the Flame for the first time!”

Knots: “We have Kim Williams and Asher Hayes who came in two and five. We have Gavin and Kandis who are two of the freshest. Here we go!”

Kandis then turns and runs at Kimberly Williams as she covers up. Hayes runs at Gavin. Gavin sidesteps him and Asher runs into the corner. Gavin nails Hayes with a hard right and then another before Hayes spins him around and chops him. The crowd woos. Kim covers up as Kandis gets a series of hard shots in. Kandis then grabs her and goes to lift her up, but Kim turns and bites her forearm. Kandis stumbles back and Kim runs out and hits a flipping neckbreaker. Hayes kicks Gavin and pulls him out and then lifts him up for a back suplex, but instead throws him forward, throat first on the top rope. Hayes runs across the ring, and bounces off and goes for the Dust to Dust, but Gavin sidesteps. Hayes hits the mat and rolls over and Gavin runs at him and hits the Gavin Taylor Lariat, knocking him up and over the top rope to the floor.

Sharper: “Hayes misses! And Hayes is gone!”

Knots: “Almost to the end!”

Gavin falls to a knee as Kim then turns and grabs Kandis and nails her with a hard right and then a left before then spinning around her and rolling her down with a school boy before moving to a slingshot. She sends Kandis off, but Kandis stops at the ropes. Kim turns and lunges, going for a Morrigan’s Wrath, but Kandis grabs her foot, throws it down and hits a running Gratuitous. Kim stumbles back and Kandis runs at her and clotheslines her up and over the top rope to the floor. Kim hits the floor as the crowd ohs and boos. Kandis then spins around and moves to the middle of the ring. Gavin gets up as the crowd roars again.

Sharper: “And Kandis eliminates Kim Williams! The exhaustion too much for Hayes and Kim as both made critical errors.”

Knots: “And Kandis gave Kim her own Kandis Clothesline after…ASS TO THE FACE!”

Sharper: “Now down to the final two…these two former rivals. And you can see Kandis, saying ‘it had to be you.’”

Knots: “Will Kandis finally get her shot or will Gavin Taylor return and come back in the biggest way possible?!”

Kandis says just that as she looks at Gavin. Gavin then nods. Kandis nails Gavin with a forearm. Gavin nails her with one back. They trade forearm blows before Kandis knees Gavin in the ribs. Kandis then knees Gavin again and again. She then grabs him by the head and drops him with the Gratuitous. Kandis walks around the ring nodding. She then walks over to Gavin and pulls him up. She looks at him, saying something before turning and going to throw him out, but Gavin spins through and sends her into the ropes before hooking her up and hitting a snap back suplex. Kandis rolls over and gets up and Gavin steps up and hits the Desperation Buzzer Beater. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Gavin drops Kandis.”

Knots: “And think about how they’re both thinking. The other wins and they’ll hate it.”

Gavin gets up and grabs Kandis. He then places her head between his legs. He looks around and hoists her up for the Highlight of the Night, but Kandis slides down behind him. Gavin steps forward and turns. Kandis goes for the Starmaker. Gavin ducks and Kandis plants her feet. Gavin then knocks her down with the Gavin Taylor Lariat. The crowd erupts. He then walks around the ring as Kandis starts to get up and Gavin hits a dropkick. Kandis hits the mat and gets up. Gavin hits a second dropkick. Kandis falls to the ropes. She pulls herself up and Gavin runs at her for the Gavin Taylor lariat, but Kandis ducks and Gavin hits the ropes. He bounces chest first and Kandis hits a savate kick to the back of the head. Gavin goes up and over the top rope, but ends up on the apron. Kandis then smiles as she gets up and looks at him and goes for the Starmaker. Gavin ducks and then catches her and pulls her over the top rope.

Sharper: “Gavin ducked and caught Kandis! He’s trying to drag her over!”

Knots: “Kandis is fighting! She’s fighting!”

Kandis kicks her legs as Gavin turns, setting up for the Cubic Zirconium Cutter, just over the top rope. Kandis however kicks her legs and then drops down before grabbing Gavin and rushing him head first into the ringpost. Gavin spins off and down to the floor. The crowd roars as the bell sounds as Kandis falls to her hands and knees.

Phillips: “Here is your winner of the 2023 Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal…Kandis!”

Sharper: “Kandis gets the number 40 spot and uses it to great effect to get the title shot she’s wanted since she returned at the End of the Year Special!”

Knots: “Gavin Taylor has a headache now. But the world is going to have a headache from this. Kandis has her shot and at Rise to Greatness XX, she’s hoping to take that title home…no matter what is going on in her personal life!”

Kandis slowly gets up and points to herself before raising her arms. The crowd roars as pyro shoots out from the stage. She looks around and nods before walking around the ring celebrating. The crowd looks on, some cheering, some booing, as Kandis looks around and continues to revel in the moment. Gavin Taylor slowly moves to the barricade and looks up as the scene cuts away.

We cut to a shot of Steve Griffin hitting a top rope decimator on CHBK from Rise to Greatness 2003, before cutting to a shot of Alistaire Allocco proudly holding the SCW World Championship and then showing a shot of Kelcey Wallace, Trinity Street and Lucas Knight standing over Ravyn Taylor and Kennedy Street at another Rise to Greatness event.

“This is your Rise to Greatness Rewind.”

We open up at the site of the first Rise to Greatness, the Rogers Centre in Toronto, where Steve Griffin hoists CHBK on the top turnbuckle. Griffin hits him with a few right hands and climbs up to the top rope with him.

Mr. D: "What the hell is going through the mind of the Big Shot, Steve Griffin? He's in very unfamiliar territory."

CHBK strikes Griffin, but Griffin punches CHBK again, stopping a comeback. Griffin then slowly positions CHBK's head between his legs and then jumps back and hits a Decimator. The crowd ohs loudly and another "Holy Sh*t!" chant begins.

Mr. D: "Oh my God! My God! A Decimator of the top rope! That killed him!"

Oliver: "I have never seen anything like that before in my life! Griffin tried to destroy CHBK with that one!"

Johnson: "Well I think that that may be all for the Canadian Heartbreak Kid!"

Both men are down and CHBK is not moving after the huge move. Griffin slowly crawls over and puts his arm over the downed body of CHBK. Vixen Star at ringside jumps up in joy. The official, Lestat goes down and reluctantly begins to count.

The bell rings and a small pop from the crowd can be heard as "Malnutrition" plays over the soundsystem.

Mr. D: "That is all. Steve Griffin is successful at Rise to Greatness in defending his SCW Championship against a man that would not give up. Steve Griffin has got to be feeling lucky to walk away tonight the champion."

Johnson: "Why should he be lucky? CHBK is on the downfall of his career and it continued tonight. Steve Griffin just proved he is still the best wrestler in the world today."

Oliver: "Either way you look at it, I can't think of any two stars that gave us as much of their hearts and souls here tonight. Steve Griffin starts the second year of the SCW the champion, but SCW starts the second year with one of the best displays of athleticism we've ever seen."

Vixen slides into the ring and helps Steve get up to his feet. He staggers back, weakened from the match. Lestat grabs the championship belt from the timekeeper and walks over to Steve Griffin.

Ring Announcer: "The winner of this match and STILL SCW Champion....STEVE GRIFFIN!"

The crowd cheers a bit as that is said and Lestat hands Steve the championship. Steve tries to pull it away but Lestat doesn't.

Johnson: "What the hell is Lestat doing?"

Mr. D: "He's delivering a message. He wants Steve Griffin. I think that Steve Griffin will have a fun time as champion after this one."

Lestat finally lets go and Steve raises the championship. The crowd cheers and Steve slowly exits the ring. He slowly walks up the ramp, with the help of Vixen, and still limping from the holds from earlier in the match. He turns to ring and raises his championship yet again.

The Rise to Greatness XX logo comes up on the screen.

We open back up in Milwaukee. The camera pans across the stadium.

Sharper: “That was the sight at the first Rise to Greatness in 2004.”

Knots: “So what awaits the twentieth. We know one piece. Kandis. Who will be the defending World Champion?”

Selena Frost vs. Adam Allocco

SCW World Championship Tournament Finals

BELIEVE IT!

The SCW Universe are on their feet as “Kings and Queens” by Ava Max as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe.

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward, her back arm lifted behind her to the sky. With a lift of her right foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arms, the Winter’s Knight walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she lifts her hand up to give a twirl as the lights form to make a massive snowflake under her. Stopping her spin and lowering her hand back down, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a smirk graces her lips, her other arm lifting to the sky once more. With a slam of her foot, Selena caused the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out blue sparkles of light as the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “For Selena, this may be the most important match of her career. You can love her or hate her, but she has stood for a vision of competition.”

Knots: “Everyone is doing that though. And she’s let this all get to her. The world isn’t fair, Sharper!”

Sharper: “It may not be, but she’s trying to make it fairer, where the World Championship is not just a target of allure, but a symbol of greatness!”

The arena lights shutter off. A single beam of golden light is cast down onto the center of the stage, accompanied by a loud bass rumbling from the sound system. A light snowfall of sliver confetti falls within the pillar of light. The rough guitar chords of 'Wired' by JJ Wilder strike the sound system. Adam steps out, head hung low, into the light. He slowly looks up, a blinding flash of light accompanies him dropping down onto his knee. He raises his arms, almost as if he's calling out to God.

“Fast cars good life what you waiting for?
Grow up perfect life knocking at your door
I’ve been working for myself since seventeen
Taking orders getting low on self-esteem”

Adam stands up and shoots a pose where he flexes his biceps before kicking his foot up into the air and swinging towards the ramp. He saunters down slowly, while he cocks a wily smile toward any nearby cameras. He forms a triangle with both hands.

“Wake up, same clothes, off I go to hell again
Making money, sinking when I’m trying to swim
I’m tired but I know a guy that has a cure for that
I’m wired, that’s the only way that I stay golden….”

Adam struts up the ring steps, now whipping his jacket to reveal his rehabbed midsection, then posing once more against the ropes out on the apron. He kicks up and over and lands on his feet. He tosses the jacket to the referee nonchalantly.

“There’s something better than this
I crack my teeth, bite down and grab it
Need something better than this
Break through the prison of my habits”

Adam immediately heads over to a corner and forms the triangle hand gesture again.

Sharper: “Adam Allocco, as arrogant as ever. He claims to be fighting for his son. To win the World Title for him. The same son whose career he ended. He may be sober now, but he has still to face true accountability.”

Knots: “But if he wins, we’ll never hear the end of it. It’s a reset for both from Rise to Greatness next year. For Adam to restart his title reign that was cut short by Xander Valentine or for Selena to undo what she says was the turning point again.”

Sharper: “Now let’s now go to the ring, for the official introductions!”

The SCW World Championship sits on a pedestal at ringside. Jason Phillips steps forward in the ring. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Fans, the following contest is scheduled for onefall with a sixty minute time limit and is the finals of the SCW World Championship Tournament!”

The crowd roars as the SCW World Championship logo comes across the screen and fades into the bottom corner.

Phillips: “Your official for this match is senior referee Aaron Demitra!”

The crowd boos.

Phillips: “And now, first, fighting out of the left corner, from Nome, Alaska, she is the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

The crowd gives a very mixed reaction as Selena Frost just holds up one arm and looks across at Adam Allocco.

Phillips: “And her opponent…”

The crowd roars as Adam smiles. He steps forward, extending his hand to Selena, who just glares at him.

Phillips: “From Rochester, New York, he is the King of HARDStyle, Adam Allocco!”

The crowd roars as some boo. Allocco then steps back and shrugs before turning to the crowd and raising his arms. The crowd cheers a bit more as Phillips backs up and Demitra checks in on Selena and then to Adam, before turning and calling for the bell. The bell sounds.

Sharper: “And here we go. We know Kandis will meet the winner at Rise to Greatness XX. Who will be defending the World Title against them?”

Knots: “A rematch from the World Title Tournament. Kandis gets a second shot at Allocco? Or does Kandis gets the match she should’ve had before her injury?”

Selena and Adam look at one another as Adam smirks. Selena just watches him, glaring. The two step out, circling the ring ever so slightly before Selena runs at Adam and goes for a double leg takedown. She then lunges and nails him with a couple of hard forearm shots before Adam shoves her off. She rolls over and gets up as Adam gets up and Selena chops him. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. She then grabs him and tries to take him over with a headlock takedown, but Adam blocks it and hoists her up and throws her forward. Selena lands on her feet and turns before Adam steps up and goes for a clothesline. Selena ducks. She stops and goes for the Glass Shard. Adam ducks and rolls to the floor. He backs off as the crowd roars. A mixed reaction follows.

Sharper: “And Selena nearly tried to end it in the opening moments!”

Knots: “Glass Shard didn’t find its mark and Adam Allocco just had a moment to realize what Selena’s anger is doing here.”

Selena snaps at Adam to get into the ring. (1) Adam walks around the ring and looks in the ring. (2) He hops onto the apron. He looks back at Selena. Adam then steps through the ropes and Selena heads towards him and kicks him in the ribs. Adam grimaces and Selena forearms him in the jaw. Adam falls back into the corner. Selena follows up with a kick to the ribs and then another before stepping back and hitting a shoot kick to the chest and then another before jumping up to the middle rope and going for another shoot kick, this time to the head. Adam ducks and spins around. Selena drops down and Allocco grabs her and goes for a German suplex. Selena elbows out of it. Allocco staggers back and Selena jumps to the middle rope and then to the top rope. She goes for a moonsault, but Allocco moves out of the way. Selena lands on her feet. She spins around. Allocco runs at her and goes for a clothesline. Selena ducks again and Allocco this time, goes through the ropes, to the floor. He then walks around. (1) Some in the crowd cheers. Frost glares at the crowd briefly.

Sharper: “And Allocco again resetting!”

Knots: “Selena’s focus is off the page. Allocco knows it. And knows right now, he needs to break it.”

Allocco slowly walks around the ring. (2) Selena paces in the ring, watching him. Allocco continues to walk around. (3) He then walks up the steel steps. He looks in the ring. He then steps into the ring again. Selena then heads toward him. Adam remains on the apron.

Allocco: “Get her back! Don’t you want a fair fight, Selena?”

Selena turns and scoffs before rushing Adam and nailing him again with a hard forearm. He steps into the ring. Selena nails him again and again. Adam ends up in the corner. Selena stomps him in the ribs over and over and over again. Allocco drops down to a seated position. Selena continues to stomp away at him.

Selena steps off and walk around the ring. Demitra warns her. Selena just nods as she turns back and grabs Allocco and pulls him up. She then hooks him by the head and hooks him up, but Allocco blocks the vertical suplex attempt. Selena attempts again and Allocco lifts her up and drops her stomach first on the top rope. The crowd ohs. Allocco walks off as Selena grimaces in pain.

Sharper: “And nothing fancy. Using the ring to his advantage.”

Knots: “And his strength.”

Sharper: “Hoisting her up and just dropping her on the top rope!”

Selena grimaces and Allocco then turns and runs along the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a knee lift. Selena falls back to the apron. She then falls to the floor. Allocco smirks and then steps through the ropes. (1) He drops down as Selena stirs.

Allocco: “Going to the outside, are you?!”

Allocco grabs her and lifts her up and drives her face first into the announce table. (2) Selena staggers back as Allocco turns and walks over to Selena. He grabs her and then turns and runs her into the barricade. (3) Selena hits hard. Allocco turns to Demitra.

Allocco: “You’re not going to count us out. Don’t you want her to earn this?!”

Demitra looks at Allocco as Allocco walks over to Selena. Selena suddenly chops him in the chest. The crowd woos. (4)

Sharper: “Allocco even taunting Demitra! Demitra counting both out.”

Knots: “Yeah, finals of a World Title tournament. That’s how you want to crown your champion. The promoter in Adam coming out!”

Sharper: “And Selena heard it too!”

Selena chops him again. She then drops down and hits a drop toe hold, sending Adam into the barricade. The crowd ohs. (5) Selena rolls over and gets up to Demitra.

Selena: “Keep counting!”

Selena turns and looks back at Adam. Adam starts to get up. (6) She then drags him and rolls him into the ring. Selena rolls in after as Adam stirs. Selena gets up and grabs him, but Allocco thumbs her eye. The crowd roars as some cheer, some boo. Selena staggers around the ring and then turns back to Allocco who hits a side belly to belly suplex. He goes for the pin.

Selena kicks out. She turns and starts to get up as Allocco gets up and turns and nails her with a hard right to the ribs. Selena falls to the ropes. Allocco whips her across the ring. Selena bounces off and Allocco hits a running back elbow. Selena hits the mat. She turns, holding her jaw. She starts to get up and Allocco smirks kneeing her in the ribs. Selena falls to the corner. Allocco then steps up and knees her in the ribs once and then again and again.

Allocco steps back and smirks, ignoring Demitra. Selena grimaces in pain and Allocco turns and runs at her and goes for a clothesline, but Selena gets a boot up. Allocco staggers back and falls to a knee and then gets up only for Selena to run out and hit a leg lariat.

Sharper: “And Selena fires back. Leg lariat to the head. Allocco down.”

Knots: “Caught him under the chin. Think that was intentional. To get him to shut up?”

Allocco turns and starts to get up and Selena turns and jumps to the middle rope and hits an asai moonsault to the lower back of Allocco. Allocco rolls to his back and Selena hooks the leg.

Allocco kicks out. Selena turns and gets up as Allocco stirs and Selena kicks him in the side. He rolls over. Selena kicks him again. Allocco moves to the ropes and to the apron. Selena reaches through and pulls Allocco up, but Allocco then grabs her by the head and hits a guillotine drop. Selena falls back, holding her throat.

Sharper: “And Selena just keeping the fight on Allocco and Allocco, again, using the ring to his benefit.”

Knots: “Yeah and that’s going to be another thing that gets under Selena’s skin.”

Allocco then turns and climbs to the top rope.

Sharper: “And Allocco now going to the top!”

Allocco gets to the top rope as Selena recovers and Allocco dives off with a flying clothesline. The crowd ohs. Allocco hooks the leg.

Selena kicks out. She turns and looks out as Allocco then grabs her and lifts her up. He spins her around and hits a vertical suplex. Selena winces and turns and starts to get up. Allocco turns and knees her in the ribs. Allocco then whips her into the corner. Allocco runs after and hits a running clothesline. The crowd ohs as Selena falls to the mat. She rolls over and reaches out for the ropes. Allocco grabs her and places her on the middle rope. He then steps over her back and starts to choke her on the rope.

Allocco steps off and turns and runs across the ring. He bounces off and lands on the back of Selena. Selena falls back, coughing, holding her throat. Allocco walks around the ring, proudly.

Sharper: “And Allocco choking Selena there. Trying to make her breathe deeper.”

Knots: “Don’t even have to say much. Selena want this buy the book. Allocco wants to embrace the reality. This is a World Title match. The winner is the Champion. Does SCW want that to come by disqualification or countout?”

Sharper: “Aaron Demitra has a lot on his mind as he officiates this match.”

Selena starts to get up and Allocco walks over and grabs her and hits another vertical suplex. Selena grimaces and stirs before he grabs her and hooks her leg and hits a fisherman’s suplex into a bridge.

Selena kicks out. She rolls over and moves to the ropes. Allocco follows up and grabs Selena and Selena elbows him in the ribs once and then again. She grabs his head, but Allocco fights away and then ducks under and goes for a back suplex. Selena however backflips and lands on her feet. Allocco turns, right into Selena enziguri kick.

Sharper: “And Selena cracks Allocco with the enziguri!”

Knots: “She’s not going to give up. That’s for sure!”

Allocco stirs and rolls over. Selena gets up and hits a leg drop to the back of Adam’s head. Adam rolls over to his back. Selena follows up with an elbow drop. She then gets up and hits a second leg drop and rolls over for the pin.

Allocco pushes her off. He rolls over and starts to get up as Selena grabs him and pulls him up before forearming him in the jaw. Allocco shoves her back. Selena stops herself and Allocco steps up only for Selena to jump up and hit a snap hurricanrana and pull back on the legs.

Allocco kicks out again.

Sharper: “Selena fighting with confidence as much as she can.”

Knots: “Yeah and she made sure to try and drive Allocco into the mat too!”

Both get up and Selena kicks Allocco in the ribs. She grabs Allocco’s head and runs to the corner and spins out and hits a tornado DDT. Selena turns and moves to the corner and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope. She looks at Allocco and then dives off with an elbow drop. She hooks the leg.

Allocco gets his shoulder up. Selena looks up and then looks at Allocco before forearming him once and then again and again. Allocco pushes away. She gets up and Allocco gets up and Selena grabs him, but Allocco suddenly spins through and hits a snap German suplex. The crowd ohs as Selena rolls over. Allocco turns to his side. Demitra looks at both. He looks down before starting to count.

Sharper: “Allocco knew he had to do something and didn’t hesitate himself. Spin through. German suplex. Both down. Demitra forced to use his ten count.”

Knots: “A bit of hesitancy.”

Selena and Allocco remain down and Demitra takes an awful long time before counting again.

He looks at both as the crowd looks on. Selena crawls to the ropes. Allocco rolls over.

Allocco slowly starts to get up. He staggers up and Selena gets up and turns only for Allocco to bury his head under his arm and hits a northern lights suplex into a bridge.

Selena kicks out. Allocco rolls off. Selena rolls over and starts to get up. Allocco moves to her and grabs her in a waistlock from behind. Selena elbows her way of it and Allocco staggers back. Selena then turns and swings, but Allocco blocks it and rakes her eyes. The crowd roars before Allocco pulls her in and hits an exploder suplex. He hooks the leg.

Selena gets her shoulder up again.

Sharper: “Allocco gets two after the exploder. Shades of his son.”

Knots: “Yeah! His motivation! Apparently!”

Sharper: “And leads into it by doing something his son would never do. Raked the eyes.”

Allocco gets up as Selena slowly grabs at the ropes. Allocco turns and runs across the ring. He bounces off and nails Selena in the back with a vicious knee. Selena grimaces and falls back. Allocco grabs her and hits a snap high angle back suplex. Selena turns and starts to get up. Allocco grabs her from behind and scoops her up and hits a backbreaker. Selena turns and Allocco looks at her. He kicks her in the back. Selena grimaces and rolls over. Allocco kicks her again. Selena rolls over again. She grabs the ropes and starts to use them to get up. She swings, but Allocco catches her and hits a release exploder suplex. Selena winces and turns. Allocco gets up and runs over to the corner and jumps off the middle rope and turns back and hits a knee drop across the throat of Selena.

Sharper: “Allocco getting his offense going. More and more hard hitting. And there, the knee to the throat.”

Knots: “Everything to force Selena to dig deeper. He knows how much she wants this. Allocco wants this, but Selena’s made this more personal than ever.”

Selena turns and reaches out. Allocco grabs her and pulls her up again and hits another pendulum backbreaker. Selena grimaces in pain. Allocco turns and then looks at Selena before walking to her legs. He looks around and nods before hoisting them up and turning into an elevated Boston crab. The crowd roars as Selena yells in pain. Allocco leans back. Selena yells out some more.

Sharper: “And the punishment to the back now becomes a test of endurance for Selena Frost!”

Knots: “Shades of Alistaire too!”

Sharper: “And will Selena tap to Allocco?”

Selena reaches out and reaches for the ropes. Demitra checks on her as the crowd does a mix of “We Believe” and “Tap!” as Selena reaches some more. She tries to crawl toward the ropes as Allocco remains leaning back, smiling. Selena starts to pull herself, crawling on her forearms. She pulls Allocco as best as she can. Selena keeps moving closer and closer. The crowd roars some more as we cut to see Xander Valentine heading down the entrance way. Selena keeps reaching for the bottom rope. She gets closer and closer and Allocco then grabs her and drags her back to the middle of the ring. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Selena dragged back to the middle of the ring! Allocco is going to ensure not only will she lose, but she’ll have to give up!”

Knots: “Xander Valentine is here! Valentine coming to the ring!”

Valentine heads to the ringside area and steps forward. Selena looks up at him as Xander looks at the ring and grabs the bottom rope. Allocco still doesn’t know this as he just leans back. Selena looks at him and shakes his head no. Xander keeps looking at her as Selena reaches up, looking as if she’s about to tap. Xander keeps leaning back as the crowd roars. Selena then pushes up and yells out and then starts to move herself under Allocco. Allocco loses his balance and Selena flips under. Allocco looks down and Selena forearms him in the jaw once and then again and again. Allocco staggers back. Selena then slowly gets up and Allocco steps forward only for Selena to kick him in the ribs and hit the Icebreaker DDT. Allocco rolls away as Selena ends up flat on her back, the pain evident on her face. Xander slowly backs down from the ring, letting go of the rope. He starts to back up into the entrance way again.

Sharper: “Selena refusing to quit! Refusing to tap. And then fighting her way out.”

Knots: “And she got Allocco down, but she can’t take advantage. She’s in too much pain!”

Sharper: “Xander even backing off. He can’t face Allocco at Rise to Greatness. His only hope is Selena Frost for Allocco’s World Title hopes to be dashed, at least for the foreseeable future. For karma to reign!”

Demitra returns to his count as he looks at both. He again is very deliberate, clearly not wanting to count either out, but doing what he is obliged to do.

Selena rolls over, clutching at her back. Allocco remains down on his back.

Selena rolls away from Allocco, sliding her body slowly over to the ropes. The crowd looks on as a “We Believe! No We Don’t!” chant begins. Selena looks down, pausing briefly, before starting to get up. Allocco remains down as Selena uses the ropes to pull herself up.

She leans on the ropes and stretches out her back before then turning and staggering over to Allocco, who suddenly rolls her up into an inside cradle.

Selena kicks out just in time. The crowd ohs. Allocco rolls over and starts to get up. Selena then turns and runs at him and jumps up onto his shoulders. Allocco however grabs her legs and throws her forward. She lands on her feet and Allocco goes for a full nelson suplex, but Selena blocks it and slides down. She kicks Allocco in the top of the head. Allocco staggers and sees Xander before turning around as Selena lunges and hits the Love Tap!

Sharper: “Shades of Regan Street! Selena Frost hit the running knee!”

Knots: “Allocco dazed! This is what you want!”

Selena goes for the pin.

Allocco shoots his shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Selena rolls over. She looks around and then turns and moves to the ropes. She exits to the apron. She waits as Allocco starts to get up. He staggers up to his feet and Selena springboards to the top rope and goes for the Alaskan Dragonrana, but Allocco catches her. The crowd roars. He then turns and powerbombs her into the corner. Selena pops out and turns and falls back to the ropes. Allocco grabs her and hoists her up onto the top turnbuckle. Allocco then clubs her in the back once and then again. Xander steps back to the ring. Allocco climbs up to the middle rope and then grabs Selena. He starts to lift her up, but Selena blocks it by grabbing Allocco’s head and nailing him with a series of hard right hands to the face. Allocco falls back. Selena glances back and steps up to her feet and hits a moonsault onto Allocco. The impact throws her off.

Sharper: “Oh! What a moonsault! Selena put all of herself into that moonsault!”

Knots: “Force all of the air out of Allocco! But out of her too!”

Selena rolls over and moves to the corner. She then grimaces as she starts to get up. Allocco stirs and Selena leans against the ropes, holding her lower back. Allocco pulls himself up, holding his ribs and turns to Selena who nails him with the Glass Shard. The crowd roars before flurry of boos follow. Xander backs away from the ring as Selena falls on top of Allocco.

The bell sounds as the crowd gives a loud mixed reaction. Selena rolls off of Allocco. Xander just breathes a sigh of relief. He turns and starts to head to the back. As he does, Deanna Frost is running down from the back.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and NEW SCW World Champion, Selena Frost!”

The crowd again gives a notably mixed reaction. Xander heads to the back as Deanna bolts past him. She runs down to the ring and slides into the ring. Selena slowly starts to get up as Deanna walks over and embraces her. Demitra is handed the SCW World Championship. He turns and walks over to Selena and Deanna and Selena looks up as Demitra presents her with the title. Selena takes it and embraces it. She then looks at it as the crowd continues to boo. Allocco remains down in the ring.

Sharper: “Selena Frost…overcome by emotion. Allocco was close, but Selena Frost wanted this win more than anything and nothing was going to stop her.”

Knots: “Allocco didn’t stop her. Xander Valentine finally breathes a sigh of relief. And Selena Frost is World Champion. Even if the fans here in attendance may not be the happiest.”

Sharper: “Selena Frost isn’t focused on that. She’s holding the SCW World Championship again. She can ensure the integrity she believes in. And she has Kandis awaiting her at Rise to Greatness XX!”

Selena doesn’t celebrate, only clutching the World Championship as Deanna Frost remains with her as the scene fades to black…
