Ace Marshall vs. Ikiro Yoshida
- Ace Marshall got a taste of his own medicine at Rise to Greatness. Ikiro Yoshida meanwhile showed how intense he could be. Now, Ikiro Yoshida faces off against a former World Champion in Ace Marshall and could impress immediately. Given his showing against Chad Evans, this could be a very interesting match to watch. But don’t forget that Cassidy Carter will be nearby and that could only mean bad things for Ikiro and who knows what for Ace!

Xander Valentine vs. ???
- Xander Valentine was fired at Rise to Greatness. Apparently, in a sign of humility, he has asked for a second opportunity. That sentence stunned us too. But we’re unsure who is opponent is and whether this will be an actual opportunity. Apparently, though, we can confirm that Xander Valentine will be on a per appearance deal for this show, making the average. Is something else at work here?

Television Championship Eliminator
AJ Helms vs. Crissy Gardner

AJ Helms and Crissy Gardner have an interesting connection. Both had issues with Alexis Quinne at different points at their career. On Breakdown, though, they’ll clash to earn a TV Title shot.

SCW Television Championship
??? vs. Aaron Blackbourne

Aaron Blackbourne is supposed to make a defense on Breakdown, but we’re not exactly sure against who. No TV Title Eliminator took place in the final week before Rise to Greatness. But you have to believe the creative mind of Blackbourne may relish the challenge now that he’s gotten over the hump of holding SCW gold.

Max Kane vs. Damian Angel
He has wanted it for months. He will get it finally. Damian Angel will face off against Max Kane in what should be a hard-hitting, intense showdown between one of the most sadistic wrestlers in SCW and one of the most careless.

Abigail Lindsay vs. Gigi Steward
Following their win of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, Abigail Lindsay and Dawn Lohan will be riding high. But Abigail Lindsay will now make her singles debut for SCW and face off against the former SCW Women’s Champion Gigi Steward. Given that Katie Steward and Gigi Steward just came off an impressive win against Sam Raine and Crissy Gardner at the Rise to Greatness Pre-Show, could this be an opportunity for the Stewards to paint themselves as challengers to Lohan Country?

James Evans vs. Alistaire Allocco
James Evans makes his in-ring return to Breakdown after a long hiatus. But he’ll face someone who is connected to a face he knows well in Ace Marshall. Alistaire Allocco is coming off an impressive win against Jake Starr and seemingly even some kudos. Can he build off this with a win against James Evans in what will be a big test for him? And what will Ace Marshall or Cassidy Carter have to say, his mentors, who have seemingly ignored him for most of the last two months? How will James Evans react to the challenge of facing a young former World Champion in his first match back on Breakdown?

Marie Jones vs. Konrad Raab
- Rise to Greatness was not kind to Marie Jones, but was for Konrad Raab. Now, the two Adrenaline-style wrestlers will meet in a match that could set their paths going forward. Marie needs a rebound badly, and Raab already had that against Kordy. Rattling off another win since he return from his hiatus could be enough to turn heads.

- Will Regan Street and Mr. D apologize to one another in the middle of the ring on Breakdown?

- What will the reaction of Mr. D be to Selena Frost and how will Selena Frost react to the results of her final match ever with Regan Street?

- Ravyn Taylor is still around, but Syren did not win the number one contendership to the SCW World Championship. What will they do on Breakdown?

- Will Kennedy Street and Sienna Swann cross paths now that it seems they are destined to meet at Apocalypse for the World Championship?

- What did Giovanni Aries mean when he was seething at the end of Breakdown? Is this situation with the “Lizard King” only going to new lengths? Who will his target be?

- Chris Cannon officially returns to SCW and will be present. What will happen when he shows up and will anyone want to try him?

- How will Donovan Kayl or Thirteen react to their loss and what about those comments about not needing anchors in SCW that Mr. D mentioned in weeks past?

- What other surprises and fallout will take place as SCW begins a new year of supremacy?
