Hello, I am Sallie Graham and welcome to an extremely special edition of EMERGE EXTRA. I honestly did not think this was going to happen but when I was called for this interview I jumped at it right away hot off the heels of EMERGE 27 that saw a horrifying ending to the show where Vanilla Skyy was decimated and practically buried by Willow Wilkes, Jason King, Seraglio, Sundown and finally the woman that I spoke with earlier, Cindy Todd. This interview was not only fascinating, it really explained and answered all questions people had to their actions we all witnessed on Monday Night. I was asked to come to her suite, it was a beautiful one at that and the presence of Cindy is both eerie and yet welcoming. Did I fear for my safety? Yes, but she slowly eased me into a sense of comfort, it is the power and influence this woman has. Here is the interview I conduced last night with Cynthia Eve Todd, Champion Wrestler, Entrepreneur, Club and Bar Owner, Manager and a woman with a powerful Web of Influence.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I sat down on the couch as Seraglio and a man who had no eyes yet knew where he was going through his other senses escorted me into the suite. I felt like I needed to be properly dressed in a black skirt and matching blazer, white blouse and heels. Cindy did not disappoint, dressed in in an all-white suit down to her nails. She looked like a goddess, sitting next to me, crossing her legs. He cameraman, Bill had to stop shaking to get a good filming of us as Seraglio surrounded him, they were scantily dressed in red dinner dresses, I could see why he was so nervous. Cindy’s green eyes were enchanting, it was like staring at Medusa, if I looked at her beauty long enough, I’d turned to stone.

Cindy: “I’m glad you came Sallie.”

Sallie: “So am I, thank you for inviting me here, how about we get started?”

Cindy: “Absolutely.”

Her voice was putting me in a trance, her mannerisms shot a chill up my spine but at the same time were so inviting I couldn’t help myself but sinking deeper into the couch…

Cindy: “Do I make you nervous?”

Sallie: “Yes, I think it’s safe to say you probably make a lot of people nervous.”

Cindy: “Don’t be. Please, get comfortable, I don’t want you to feel on edge or if something terrible will happen tonight. You have my word Sallie, you walk out of here with no scratches and an exclusive interview. Kick off your shoes, take off the jacket, this is an informal meeting. Jericho will serve us wine. Now please continue with your interview now that is out of the way.”

Sallie: “Thank you. I am going to start by asking, why? What was the reason for the actions on EMERGE 27 toward Vanilla Skyy when she went up against your former protégé, Willow Wilkes?”

Cindy: “In order to know the reason, the first thing you must know is how we even arrived to this point.”

Sallie: “Fair Enough. You came to EMERGE after Sundown lost in the Rush Championship match…..”

Cindy: “Let me stop you right there. I had planned to come to EMERGE no matter the outcome of that match and yet it presented itself this unique opportunity. Here is a monster that wasn’t being used or living up to its billing. He was treated like a third wheel, an “inbred” hillbilly, not taken seriously. He wasn’t defeated by Melissa Killgraves no matter how many times she wants to try and change the narratives, he was defeated by Ragnarök in a surprise attack when Sundown had her beaten. Now, the truth? Do we really want to hear feel good stories of “surviving” or do we want facts? As the “mouthpiece” of Sundown, what this unintelligent little girl calls me having no idea who I am, did I physically make Sundown better? No, I simply gave him the one piece he was missing, a purpose. Everyone saw in the second match Melissa was practically ran over Sundown, even with help from Ragnarök a second time wasn’t enough, and Sundown showed who was superior. Sallie, I look at you serious as a heart attack and tell you this, if Sundown wanted the Rush Championship, he would be wearing it. If I wanted to cripple Melissa Killgraves for my own amusement it would have already happened. She lived to fight another day because I ALLLOWED it. Sundown defeated her with NO help, she couldn’t without it, that is facts, that is truth, that is final. “The real never need to prove it to the phonies”, Charles Manson said that once and how true in this case. I alone could rip her to shreds if I choose, anyone for that matter in this promotion or any I choose to induce my will upon, I refrain from doing so, it gets boring always being right.”

Sallie: “What about the rest of the roster who seems like they may band together against this new threat?”

Cindy: “Let them. I am a woman who cares not of consequence, I even invite it, that is the thrill of the fight. Melissa is like many in EMERGE though Sallie, a cockroach when flicking the lights on, scurrying across the kitchen floor looking for a place to hide. I didn’t come to EMERGE to manage Sundown and help him beat a simple woman, he could do that on his own, I came to make him the monster he was billed as when he entered this company.”

Sallie: “Okay, that mission was accomplished. He has a new look, more intense and while Melissa is a great competitor and the future of EMERGE as the Rush Champion, we did see another side of Sundown previously not though knowing how strong and tough he is. This was your opening to come to EMERGE, why not sooner?”

Cindy: “Supreme Championship Wrestling.”

Sallie: “SCW? I don’t understand?”

Cindy: “Sallie, have I ever stepped foot in SCW? Even with all the ties I have in that promotion? Has Cindy Todd ever wrestled for that company? World Hazard, sure. UWA, IWC and ULW? Sure. Why not SCW? Fear. After New Eden with Red Rayne, Mika Kozlov, Silk and Alana Starr running rampant under the leadership of Aiken Frost and even before that with Blitzkrieg, Rachel Foxx and Rachel Tatum Lee, would they allow lightning to strike three times? They never bothered to sign or even ask me to appear on their programming out of fear. They saw what I was capable of doing, a woman that came up this business with her father as a premiere trainer. I was once an announcer and interviewer like you. I grew up in this business. I understand why the SCW is fearful of Cindy Todd, they want to protect their interests. Can you imagine what I could do to Ravyn? Syren? Selena Frost? James Evans? The possibilities are endless, unfortunately you will never see it and up until the Consortium took over, I bide my time in EMERGE and why? I knew Drew Bryant would never live under the SCW Umbrella of power…. It was the inevitable.”

Sallie: “EMERGE splitting from the SCW was your real opening?”

She cracked a smile at me, knowing that I was finally starting to piece things together. Her eyes never wandered, always staring at me. At times I was lost in her thoughts, it was hard to concentrate when talking to such a powerful woman….

Cindy: “Yes, Sallie. Aiken Frost? Silas Mason? My ties with both men? Need I say more?”

Sallie: “Did they have an influence in you joining?”

Cindy: “Yes.”

Sallie: “How?”

Cindy: “Why don’t we start with Willow Wilkes.”

Sallie: “Yes, that was my next question, explain what happened on EMERGE 27 and why Vanilla Skyy or my colleague, Doc Morningwood?”

Cindy: “I’ll start with Willow, the misconception here is this all happened overnight. It did not, Willow and I repaired our relationship over a year ago, away from the ring. When she left after MCW, PWD or whatever else other names it played with suddenly closed its doors, Willow had decided to semi-retire. I came to her and we talked, buried the hatchet when I came to terms that her and Jason King were perfect for one another. Look at them, a couple fit for magazine covers and the runway.”

Sallie: “The Beauty Factory?”

Cindy: “Precisely. Laura Steinbeck was sent pictures of Willow and Jason, she saw money right away and the chance to sign two more wrestlers where EMERGE was concerned as back to her star, Jennifer Helms was too good to pass up. Let me ask you this Sallie, if the SCW wouldn’t sign me, do you think that an EMERGE owned by SCW would sign Willow and Jason under my management?”

Cindy was quick with words, so eloquent in her speech, it was hard not to admire her presence and how she conducted herself in the interview. I answered, still cautious of the situation I was in….

Sallie: “Probably not.”

Cindy: “Exactly and after the Mika Kozlov and Serotonin fiasco, who could blame them? The Beauty Factory was the perfect guise, Willow and Jason came in as models and after Ricky Octavius untimely and unfortunate death, Willow became the scapegoat, so their business contract was terminated right around the same time Drew Bryant decided to pull EMERGE from the SCW, the timing was impeccable which open the doors for my inclusion. A mutual truce and respect with John Goddard and Tombstone, what was left? Simple, to build the empire that I had once in IWC, UWA, ULW and the SWA. Everything worked out as planned, this entire time I have been in communication and planning with Willow and Jason. The missing piece? Sundown. Even Tombstone. It has all come together and that is why EMERGE 27 last night was the beginning and revealing of my master plan.”

Sallie: “This has been going on for quite some time?”

Cindy: “Yes.”

Sallie: “Why last night? Why Vanilla?”

Cindy: “I admire and respect Vanilla Skyy. Many may think I didn’t have the confidence in Willow winning the match, that is not the case. Skyy and I have been friends, enemies and everything in between for the last 12 years. The reason why Vanilla Skyy was the penultimate piece of my plan is not too hard to figure out, she was the last remnant of the old EMERGE and what it was when it first started. She was the last piece of the SCW led EMERGE and those that have moved on to “Bigger” and “Better” things in their own thoughts and minds. Vanilla was the driving force behind this, so what better way to show that it was dead? Then buy not only defeating Skyy but covering her unconscious and bleeding body, even the toe tag and if you read it carefully it stated… “EMERGE GM”. She had to be the message and I even gave her my word that I wouldn’t touch her, I kept it. As for Gracie? Unfortunately for her, she was collateral damage. Gracie and I have a long history, so do her and Willow. She should have never been involved but I had a feeling she would hence why I didn’t touch her either. She should thank me for the mercy I showed, I will not promise this again if she ever sticks her nose in our affairs again.”

Sallie: “Vanilla was unconscious for over three hours until the hospital was able to flush all the Ether out, don’t you have any remorse for your actions? Three staples, 10 stitches, respiratory problems, she has been in out of sleep all day. Did she deserve this AND the humiliation of the image we saw of her lying under the coat with a toe tag?”

Cindy: “Remorse? If I ever dealt with remorse, I would not have the power I do. Vanilla Skyy knows what she signed up for, she has been down this road many times, from what I recall not to this extreme, yet she is a strong woman that will recover. I will say, Vanilla Skyy will one day come for her revenge and when she does, I will be waiting with open arms. That still doesn’t change the fact what we did last night was show the OLD EMERGE is DEAD. Now, why? Why Sundown, Seraglio, The Kings? Why? Well Sallie, we represent individuals who will NEVER be forgiven for our actions. Willow, Jason, Sundown, Seraglio and I are looked upon as devils, monsters and antagonists who want to destroy professional wrestling. No, we don’t destroy anything, we create an environment fit for the strong and a tragedy for the weak. Do I look concerned if EMERGE bands together against us? Do I look concerned if KALI is ready to win the EMERGE Championship? Do I look concerned about The Beauty Factory, Moustache Mountain or anyone else that wants to step forward as a “Hero” or “Savior” of this company?”

Sallie: “No.”

Cindy: “Exactly. Instead I looked into the eyes of Drew Bryant and smiled out of gratitude for giving us this opportunity to finally let the cat out of the bag. I told you and everyone watching that the RIGHT person would walk out as EMERGE champion and they will continue to walk out as Champion long as I have air in my lungs. Willow Wilkes is the champion EMERGE NEEDS. Willow Wilkes is the Champion to lead this company into the Future and make it relevant. Willow Wilkes, Sundown, Jason King, Seraglio and I are not here to cleanse, we are not here to purge, we are here to take our rightful place in Wrestling Lore….. as those who will forever be…. THE UNFORGIVEN.”

Those words resonated through my ears. Cindy smiles and brushed her hair back, I knew right there she was done. I wanted to close it out best way I could but didn’t know how….

Cindy: “Anything else?”

Sallie: “No, thank you for your time.”

Cindy: “My pleasure and Sallie? This company is now Welcomed to the Suffering.”

Her eyes continued to stare at me, now I know why they call her the “Green-Eyed Devil”. I smiled, still not fearful of my well-being. This was one of those interviews where I learned so much about how the mind of Cindy Todd works and will never forget it.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I left the interview feeling quite honored in talking to her yet at the same time fearful of what is next. Very few people leave an impression on me like Cindy Todd has, I now know why this woman does command so much respect when she is present. The scars on her neck are a painful reminder of what she has been through, a polarizing and enigmatic figure in professional wrestling. I do know one thing, she means everything she says and that right there should scare the hell out of anyone in EMERGE as the The Unforgiven have arrived.
