How to cope with the brutal beatings from his past/Masks experimentation. Las Vegas, Nevada. Friday 30th August (Off-Camera)

Konrad's sitting in the waiting room, already dressed in his white overalls as he came early for the appointment in Alliance Mental Health Specialists. As usual, he's biting his nails, shaking his whole body rapidly as he has his head between his legs, having his head buried under his arms due to the news he received a week ago. Konrad hasn't coped with the news very well, still unknown when Drexel's going to hunt his family down, including his wife which he takes everywhere with him now.

His heads are wet because of him crying in fear not just because of the Drexel's quest of killing his family stuff, but also fear of being in a mental hospital. It still was tough for Konrad to overcome his fears of being in the mental hospital because of the fear of someone coming out to attack him, but he was safe in the waiting room. Eventually, the wait comes to an end as the door opened, and someone shouted out.

Some doctor: "Mr Konrad Raab."

Konrad removed his face and pulled himself up from the chair as he rubs his hands on his overalls, trying to remove the tears from his face as he picks up the carrier bag with his masks inside and walks like he had stiff legs with his knees locking. Although the left knee has been bothering Konrad with the match he had on Monday, it was due to his fear.

Konrad was directed to Doctor Schneider as he walks in the room, visibly shaken as there was a cup of water already provided for him. He takes a seat which this time was a cream coloured wall with some equipment around with cupboards and draws with a sink. Schneider got Konrad's documents out and reads through what they discussed last time. When he does, he looks at Konrad and speaks.

Doctor Schneider: "I know it was tough on you the last time, but you need to calm down."

Konrad Raab: "Tell me how?"

Doctor Schneider: "If you relax, I will tell you, but you got to calm down."

Konrad shook his head, not knowing where to look, taking shaky breaths, pressing a fist to his mouth before he closes his eyes, still taking shaky breaths as he again asks the question.

Konrad Raab: "Well, how do I?"

Doctor Schneider: "You need to benefit yourself as a better person than your father has been. We said this to you now because I was ready to tell you with your mum's permission, without feeling bad to hide it from you. When you were younger, you weren't able to cope with it. You were very insecure and hated yourself. I know it's never easy to be a victim of psychical and mental abuse, but your father's gone, and there's nothing you can do to get that childhood back, but giving your children a time to remember when they grow up to be adults, so they have childhood memories with you, you dream of is the way forward."

Konrad Raab: "Still doesn't answer how I can get over it."

Doctor Schneider: "You stand your ground with every cost with anybody and me speaking to you helps, but you need to cry and be alone at times to gather yourself to overcome it."

Konrad Raab: "No."

Konrad shouts so loud that he almost burst Schneider's eardrum as Konrad places his head under his arms, being unable to cope with his past life, even didn't want to talk about it anymore. Everything Konrad says and does, Schneider writes everything. Schneider knows why Konrad told that as he responds.

Doctor Schneider: "I know the situation of Drexel out on the hunt to find you is why you don't want to be on your own, especially without your wife, but there are times you have to. Also, make sure each one of your kids learns how to fight. You don't want them to get bullied every single day because of you being too god damn nice. Fizz tells me you've never beaten your kids so already; you're a better man your dad was."

Konrad Raab: "I never want my kids to experience the hell I went through with my father. Does going over the top with alcohol have a part to play with my life because of my dad?"

Doctor Schneider: "Yes, but you used alcohol to remove the pain of your dad beating you. Now, you've found a solution to your problems, being a professional wrestler. It's far better than getting yourself drunk every night. You learn to fight and defend yourself not just in the ring but out of it as well."

Konrad Raab: "I can't deny I wrestle partly because I wanted to defend myself. Was sick of being in fights and get thrown around like a doll. That's why my father sent me to the army for a year; he didn't want me to defend myself like he kept saying, my father wanted me to suffer because he hated me. He kept saying be a fucking man instead of a woman."

It was clear that Konrad somewhat remembers about his life of those words of being a man, not a lady as he looks through all of Konrad's old notes of his visits to the doctor and finds something that was written years ago about those words. Schneider nods at Konrad who's still visibility shaken, but a different kind of show as Konrad clinches his teeth, knowing there's nothing he can do, more now his father's dead.

Doctor Schneider: "It's in the notes that your mother said that. Your mother tried to do everything she could to stop you from being beaten, but she wasn't able to. Since your father is dead, while you can't do anything now, you can do everything to make sure you won't be doing anything like your dad."

Konrad Raab: "I never want to do anything he did to me on my children. I want to be a father my kids will see me protect them and teach them the rights and the wrongs of the world. I find it easier to be nice than being nasty and vile to the world."

Doctor Schneider: "Remember Konrad, you do have an evil side to you, even I do, like when I said I'd hidden the documents from you."

Konrad Raab: "My wife tells me all the time I always want to make people happy instead of being honest. But I don't want to be a piece of shit."

Doctor Schneider: "It's because you want to forget your past and it's not helped you at all, let's be honest here. I mentioned last week as my thoughts on that, but it was also because you didn't know what happened in your life. Now you do. However, we'll talk more about that if you want next week. For now, lay your masks on the table."

Schneider wrote everything down on what Konrad said and done in the room as there's a lot to write down on what he's said and Konrad got out the three masks out of his bag to lay on the table. Because Schneider never saw the masks before, he took a picture of them on his phone which he'll print out after the session has finished. Schneider sees Konrad pinching his skin, not looking up for a long while. When Konrad realises Schneider wasn't speaking and sitting there, he looks up at him as he eventually responds.

Doctor Schneider: "Let's start with something easy, The Iceman one."

Konrad stands up as he drinks another cup of water before he picks up The Iceman mask. When he puts it on, he already clinches his fist like Konrad's ready to fight, and the mental motion was Konrad was a lot more confident, and immediately, Schneider writes down, and Konrad realises his fist, and Konrad responds to what he sees.

Doctor Schneider: "Apart from feeling confident and ready to fight, there's not a lot of change there. It seems like it's the real you, from your body language."

Konrad Raab: "Because this mask although doesn't change me, but it helps me fight and defend myself. Without it, I'm a piece of garbage. I respect anyone's achievements, and I wrestle fair and square without cheating or using violence."

Doctor Schneider: "That's the attitude you usually have. Although because you're too kind at times, it can make you a pushover because you don't get angry with this mask at all. Now, I need to see you wear The Black Ice mask."

Konrad Raab: "I don't want to."

Doctor Schneider: "For me to understand you better and to help you, you have to. Please, let me see you be The Black Ice."

Konrad sighs, he didn't want to put it on as he wanted to bury it deep into the ground, but Konrad couldn't as Doctor Schneider writes down what he witnesses with The Iceman mask as Konrad gulps at it before Konrad crouches down on the floor and he shouts leave me alone. It left Schneider getting confused on what Konrad shouted as Schneider asks.

Doctor Schneider: "You the one who wanted the help, not me."

Konrad Raab: "I'm not talking to you, Doctor Schneider."

Doctor Schneider: "I see, does the voice always start like this before you put on The Black Ice mask?"

Konrad Raab: "Yes, all the time."

Konrad breathes heavily, so fast that he screams loud before he gives in to the voice and puts The Black Ice on his face with the changes suddenly happening very fast. Konrad screams in anger a lot, and he says this.

Black Ice Raab: "I want to make someone bleed, causing them to suffer injuries and bash someone's head over violence. Yes, I make every wrestler look like a bunch of kittens in the ring. They suffer from brutal beatings and have bodies broken in half."

Doctor Schneider: "It seems that's where your DID comes in. Yes, I see why I diagnosed you with it years ago. You always spoke like this, and you're completely out of control with your anger with the mask, when someone interrupts you speaking.

There was a mirror where the sink was as Black Ice stands up and walks over to it as he looks in the mirror and he laughs evilly, even he spoke with an intense, psychotic voice which Schneider writes down with the dramatic change in Konrad that he discovers it was the mask controlling him and Black Ice speaks after listening to the voice.

Black Ice Raab: "Yes, master Erik, I will follow your orders to attack my next victim with every intent to hurt them. It feels good to be back to teach Schneider what the real world of pain feels like, making him squeal like a piggy. Yes, I enjoy making anybody suffer, and nobody can stop me. I'm a violent wreaking machine."

Black Ice chases after Schneider who was afraid of Konrad as Schneider puts his hands up and Black Ice head-butts him to the floor, and then he pounds him with hard punches to his face as he drags Schneider up to the wall. He throws him into the wall before Doctor Schneider gets up and says this.

Doctor Schneider: "Now put on your Rainbow Ice mask."

Black Ice shook his head whether it was because he wanted to continue beating the doctor or because the mask is such a strong effect with Konrad's mind that he was unable to. From what Schneider has seen, it was clear to him as a psychologist, it was the second option as he calls for help as he was defenceless and four security guards rushed in, and Black Ice tries to push them away, but he laughs before a security guard twice the size of Black Ice picks him up and drops him to the ground as the security guards held Konrad to the ground, Schneider removes the mask off from his face.

The security guards leave the room, and Konrad shakes and jumps his back right into the wall as he says this.

Konrad Raab: "What happened?"

Doctor Schneider: "Everything you supposed to do."

Konrad Raab: "What?"

Doctor Schneider: "Hm, seems like you don't remember anything after you put The Black Ice mask on. Now I see why you didn't want to. What happened is you talked to the mirror to master Erik and then you went to attack me, laughing and enjoying the beating you put on me. Then I called for security because it was clear you couldn't take it off yourself. I know these things without you saying it to me."

Konrad crotches on the floor, having tears in his eyes that he went to hurt his doctor. It's always been a hard thing for Konrad to forgive himself each time he makes those attacks. Schneider struggles to sit down and writes down everything he experienced with Konrad as The Black Ice experiment wasn't anything he expected.

Doctor Schneider: "That's a dangerous form of anger, Konrad with that mask."

Konrad Raab: "Why do you think I didn't want to? I don't remember anything I say or do with that mask. It controls me and lets me beat someone non-stop. As you discovered, I can't take it off, unless someone psychically takes it from me because the power is so strong with the voice telling me to keep it on and if I remove it, Erik tells me to kill myself. It makes me a horrible person I never want to be."

Doctor Schneider: "It wants you to be your father, to show what he used to be like. OK now you're not wearing the mask, let's see Rainbow Ice mask."

Konrad Raab: "I'm sorry; I can't control myself with Black Ice."

Doctor Schneider: "Don't worry about it, now put on Rainbow Ice."

Konrad nodded as he went to the table and placed the other two masks in the bag before he looks on it. He's reluctant to put it on, but he places it on his face. Konrad didn't seem to change too much, but one thing he said does catch Schneider's attention.

Konrad Raab: "Balance between good and evil is good for the world; being good or evil leads you down to being pushed over or leading you to a bad place. Everyone has good and evil sides of themselves, and that's the success you get in wrestling and life. I won't hesitate to use violence on those who deserve it, but violence will not put on those who are respectful and kind."

Doctor Schneider: "I agree, finally that mask is channelling your brain to say things having to be balanced. I never understood why you say that in your videos, but now it's clear the mask trains you to say that. This is an amazing discovery, something you weren't aware of. Yes, you can be a good and an evil guy, and it's also controlled as well."

Konrad removes the Rainbow Ice mask from his face as he smiles, feeling a lot better than he was ten minutes ago. He takes a seat and remembers what Schneider said, and he says this.

Konrad Raab: "You're saying I should be using this mask entirety of my wrestling career?"

Doctor Schneider: "Yes, although I wouldn't attempt to wear that or the Black Ice one in front of your children though, especially as you said, you still don't know much about the capabilities of what the Rainbow Ice mask does, other than the discovery of it training your brain of having balance of your life. I think it may help you say this to your fellow wrestlers too in the future."

Konrad Raab: "Hm, I didn't think the mask did anything, but saying things like balance in life, that's not usually me so that mask also has an effect on me, but still need to know more about it and maybe help me improve myself as a person in and out of the ring too."

Doctor Schneider: "You're right, it's doing what it's supposed to train your brain to do and the violence thing, that will only be in a controlled manner, although you will get explosive at times, but only when you feel the wrestler deserves it rather than a need like Black Ice does."

Konrad nods, feeling a lot better, especially knowing the Rainbow Ice does pose somewhat of danger, but not as bad as The Black Ice one. Doctor Schneider writes everything he's witnessed so far, even knowing more about the masks, even with Konrad learning a bit, although Doctor Schneider just looked at his watch, Konrad's hour session was meant to be up five minutes ago but overran the time as he says this.

Doctor Schneider: "We're five minutes ahead of time, so I'm going to end this support for today as we've done everything we've needed to talk about and for me to see with those masks. I know it was a hard session, especially the Black Ice mask and the coping with your father's beating situations. I suggest with your nightmares, you keep taking those REM tablets, but my advice is to take them ten minutes before you go to bed, maybe they'll start working once you fall asleep, removing those nightmares from your father attacking you that Fizz tells me. Anyway, the same day next week for discussions, alright?"

Konrad Raab: "Yes, thank you for the discussion as they are helping me learn more about myself."

Konrad drinks the last cup of water as he places the Rainbow Ice mask in the bag, along with the others and carries it before he was taken to the reception to get his clothes. As he receives his clothes, he then was taken to changing rooms by Schneider as he goes back into his office and writes up everything Konrad said and did. Konrad came out with jeans and a white shirt as he got his personal belongings before he leaves the Alliance Mental Health Specialists hospital to get in his car to head on home to Fizz.

The Iced Rainbow Konrad Raab side: Time to get violent with Casterillo youtube.com shoot. (On-Camera)

"Finally, I'm able to get my hands on someone who's attacked me consistently over the last few shows, someone who has unfinished business with me, Casterillo. Yes, there's no denying he can produce a great match when he's in the mood to. It's a shame he has all this talent in him, yet he doesn't feel titles are essential. The only thing he's claimed to come here to do is hurting opponents.

Welcome to the world of the Iced Rainbow, Casterillo as you're aware that you're a big guy and produces a lot of power, but when you said you weren't done with me, I thought the same because I haven't beaten you. This match with the Underground rules is a big test for me that I don't go and explore, keeping my anger controlled with this mask. It's the side of me you've never faced before, but what has Sasha got to do with any of us?

Because you seem to blame her for everything that's gone on when the only person making these mistakes is you, you're always disrespectful to every wrestler you've met and that you deserve a violent beating because you refuse to have balance in life. I had to learn so much about being good or evil is not good, hence why I'm not aligned with Damien Angel right now.

I'm not going to give you much room to stand up, even if I'm still understanding the Rainbow Ice mask that wants me to be violent, but for a good reason. I also want to make you bleed like a pig because of the cowardly attacks you've done, even during my match against Kelsai. I thought you were a bit of a hypocrite when you said Kelsai was an innocent victim when you attacked her. Why didn't you have the respect to allow me and Kelsai finish our match, having a fair winner, instead of me coming into this match with a DQ win?

Because you were desperate and you have no balance in your life or wrestling, you're only going to go farther back, and I have to say, you've not improved at all since you've been in SCW. Me? I've grown leaps and bounds to put Regan and Alistaire to the test. Also, all of these attacks are because you couldn't get Glory in a match. Also, all of us have our good and evil sides, but I've never seen you show a good side, maybe cos you're afraid of being kind to people and if so, it makes you pathetic.

She has other things to do, and you should've finished business with me, but it's OK because I won't restrict myself, especially with it being an Underground rules-based match to use weapons and mess you up, ultimately, leaving you a blooded pig. I've gotten stronger and better as time goes on because I put in effort one hundred per cent, while the only thing you do is attack people when you lose matches.

You cost yourself the match against Tommy Valentine when you knew you couldn't beat him. Just because you have beaten me the last time, doesn't mean it will be the same result and it won't be because I'm a changed man and I deal with cowards who only focus on being evil. I won't hesitate also to make you squeal when I lock you in a submission because the violence you got from me is only the beginning of it going to get far worse, especially now I can control it and use it when I have to which in this case, I do, teaching you a lesson in respect and showing Sasha respect.

Tomorrow night here in Baltimore, Maryland, you're in for a rude awakening when I destroy you all over the arena, despite a chance of you beating me again, but you have no knowledge of what I'm capable of as the Iced Rainbow, not even I do, but you'll find out when I'll beat you either for the three count or submission with weapons at our disposal doing anything we damn please without any limits restricted on us to have my hand raised as the winner of the match, despite my lack of experience in these sort of matches. We'll brutalise the house down as Casterillo, prepare to be Iceinated by The Iced Rainbow, bitch."
THE BOOK OF CASTERILLO
Chapter 4:  Journey To The Center Of Yourself

He is not a man of many words.  Yet people are all in a tizzy about him.  He does not want what all the others want, yet he seems to bother them.  To Casterillo that has got to be a mission accomplished as just like Xander Valentine, he can stir up such a fuss by simply just existing.  This seems to mesmerize him and also drive him.  Perhaps that is why he wants to tie up the loose ends against those who have come up against him in the past, only to find a cheap way out of facing their fate.  Perhaps he just wants concrete resolutions, before doing what everyone else seems to want him to do, and that is move forward.  There is nothing wrong with that, wanting to have full closure so there are no doubts, one way or another.

That is why right now he is in a state of uncertainty.  Shadron has seen it too.

Hey, are you okay?

His eyes are glazed over, looking like a steel color, the same steel color that Shadron herself has worn once before.

Lawrence?  You really have me worried.

She shivers and reaches out to touch his left arm but he swats her away and she goes down to the grass.  She is not hurt but she looks up at him sadly, wondering if she will even get a response.

I'm here for you, whenever you want to talk.

She slowly gets up and brushes herself off before slipping away from him, knowing for a fact that he wishes to be alone.  He suddenly breaks out of his trance and walks in the opposite direction, right towards the nearest roadway, away from the part of the park they were just in.  As he goes though the trance seems to take him back over.  He is definitely not looking where he is going.  Instead he is just speaking out loud, to himself.

They want me to move on.  But is that what they truly want?  No.  They want me gone.  They are scared, frightened of what I can do.  How have I come to this?  How have I been made out to be nothing but a monster?  Back.  I need to look back before I move forward.

Casterillo turns his back to the street and starts walking backwards.  Then his feet touch the pavement and almost immediately a car horn blares.  Within a blink of an eye Casterillo is on the hood of the car, laying belly up on it.  The driver of the car panics and stops the car right in the road, but does throw on his four-way flashers to alert motorists, likely only as a knee-jerk reaction.

Oh my fucking god!

He turns off the engine and throws the car break on and immediately gets out of the car to see if Casterillo is somehow still alive.  The driver sees that his eyes are glazed over and that he is just laying there.  He still cannot believe it but the next thing he does is grab for his cell phone and call 9-1-1.  Within a matter of a few minutes ambulances are arriving on the scene.  This has caught the attention of Shadron who is on the other side of the park and can see them coming towards her, with their sirens wailing away.  She rushes to the other side of the park and stumbles upon what is definitely her greatest fear, her Lawrence unconscious on top of the car.

Oh my god!  Let me see him!

Please back off Miss.  He needs to be loaded into an ambulance.  Who are you?

Shadron.  I'm his um... companion for life.

The EMT looks at her and can see she is distraught and telling the truth.

Alright, come with us in the ambulance.  For now, wait there and we will get him loaded and check his vitals.  Hopefully he is still alive.

Shadron sinks to her knees and closes her bright green eyes.  She whispers to herself.

Please be alive.  I am here for you.  Let me know you are alive.

She keeps her eyes closed and looks upward.  A few moments pass and Casterillo is now loaded into one of the ambulances.  The EMT comes back and prods Shadron.

Miss, we are ready to go to the hospital.  Miss?

It is a few more moments before her eyes reopen.  She takes a few seconds to compose herself before she looks up at the EMT and tells him something with confidence and relief.

He is alive.

The EMT holds out his hands and Shadron takes them.  He pulls her up and escorts her into the back of the ambulance, where she can sit by his side.  For the whole trip to the ambulance his eyes do not move though.  She holds his left hand tight and stays silent.

Unbeknownst to all of them though, Casterillo is about to take a much needed trip...

*******

He awakens to find himself in a place he has not been in many, many years.  It takes him a few moments to clear out his eyes, to find that he is home, in the house he grew up in.  Yet to him it looks cleaner than he can vaguely remember, with it being very white and pristine.

I must be dead.  I must be.

He can hear now that he has spoken in not his adult voice, but instead his voice back when he was a young boy.

Great.  Why am I here?  I have not done anything wrong.

You have, son.

He turns his head to see the shape of his father standing there now, to his left.

You have never done anything right.  We have tried to raise you Lawrence, but you have been nothing but a mistake.  Your mother agrees.

NO!

Yes.  Your mother and I, we talked.  We were both happy when you were first born, but... but something just has not been right.

There is NOTHING wrong with me dad!

Yes there is.  You are not like your mother and I.  We think it will be better if you just go.

Go?  Go where?  And why?  What will I do?

Those are questions you need to answer.  Just go so your mother and I will be happy together, alone.

His eyes close and the next time they blink he is walking down the street, rolling a suitcase behind him, wearing a warm winter coat.  He looks lost and rightfully so, being kicked out by his father and mother, for whatever reason.  He keeps walking and walking, all the way to the shoreline.  For him it takes days, but the memories in his mind flash before him in rapid fashion, with the final image of him arriving at his new homestead, a small cave at the shore to the ocean.  It is here that he weeps, wondering what the hell he did wrong.  According to his father, birth.

I cannot believe this.  What has turned him and her against me?  I have done NOTHING WRONG!

He shouts this out of the cave and to the world.  At this moment in time the ground rumbles.  He closes his eyes for a brief second before darting them open.  A lightning strike hits the water; the first time a natural phenomenon he believes that he has created...

*******

The heart monitor beeps repetitively in rhythm.  The work has been underway on Casterillo and it was found that he indeed was alive, and now stabilized.  Shadron still holds on to his left hand, but not as tight now.  She stares at him for a bit longer before the nurse tells her that visiting hours are ending and that she can come back in the morning.

Okay.

She sighs but before she goes she lays a kiss on his forehead and softly speaks to him.

I know you will be okay.  Hopefully for now you are at peace Lawrence.

She slowly walks out, looking towards him as she goes, until she is out of the hospital room.  The nurse shuts the door behind her.  As Shadron walks it dawns on her that on Sunday night her companion is scheduled to take on Konrad Raab at SCW Apocalypse, in an Underground Rules Match.

He can't.  They can't make him.

Suddenly her legs stop and it seems like some sort of omnipresent force pulls her into a more secluded area of the hospital.  It is here that she can somehow hear him.

I will be there.  This needs to end.  All of the past needs to end.

But... but...

No buts.  I am fine Shadron.  I will be there.  Tell the world I will be there.

She shakes and shivers and walks back out into the main hallway, where a nurse spots her and asks if she is okay.  Shadron just gazes forward and walks on until she is out into the night air.  It is nippy and she is feeling cold, so she hugs herself tight.  Luckily for her the hotel is not too far down the road so she walks, faster paced than she normally would, about as fast as she was when she headed towards where the ambulance was back at the park.

Only when she is back in the hotel room does she calm down some.  She immediately grabs for her cell phone and does what her beloved asked her to do, even though she is quite a disheveled mess.

Hi.  This is not something I do, but Lawrence... er... Casterillo asked me to speak with you all.  That said I don't know if he will be in condition to compete Sunday night, but he's telling me he will be there, and that he is not running, which sooo many of you think he does, right after attacking others of course.

From what I've learned about him over these past few years, it's not his fault.  He is the way he is because of the way he was treated as a boy.  I can relate, but clearly a lot of you just can't.  You all just verbally assault him, which is really no different than him physically assaulting any single one of you.  Both are wrong and trust me, I have told him that.  But... with me he has changed.  He doesn't have as black of a heart as you think he does.  Nobody should ever a judge a book by it's cover and that's what every single one of you has done.  It's sooo shameful and all you have done is egg him on to cause destruction and hurt wherever he goes.  It's YOUR fault that he has even hurt ME.  And Konrad, you're one of the worst offenders.  He gave you a chance to come at him one on one back at Retribution, but in the end you couldn't handle it and got yourself disqualified because you hated my Lawrence so god damn much... and for what reason?  Because  he wanted to choose when he wanted to face you in the wrestling ring?  That's just low, especially when you're the one that's hiding behind masks, making believe that these masks actually make you different.  They don't!  The only way to improve yourself is to take the time and truly look inside yourself to see why you are the way you are.  That's something you will probably never understand.

Shadron sighs and looks over to the nightstand, where the crystal that she deems is for her and Casterillo, glimmers, but not as bright as usual.

Konrad, I'm not saying any of this to put you down, nor is he feeding me these words.  I'm not standing here on a high horse, nor does he ever do such a thing.  He has admitted that he wants to help ones like you and ones like Glory, even though you have both wronged him on multiple occasions.  Yet no one has accepted his help because it just seems like everyone is the one thing that they keep calling my Lawrence, and that is egotistical.  Such a hurtful word and one that I will never be.

Anyways Konrad, Lawrence is a good man, when he is allowed to be.  I have seen the good in him, which is why I want to be with him forever.  Tonight, I almost lost him, thanks to assholes like you and Glory and yes, even Sasha!

She flips her phone to the nearest bed and can be heard genuinely crying.  She doesn't even try to compose herself as she just simply runs right back out of the hotel room and down the nearest staircase, all the way to the bottom, where she continues to weep.  It is a while before she can hear his voice speaking to her inside her head, as calm as it ever has.

Hey.  I will be okay.  I am not a normal human, unlike them, nor are you.  Remember that.  As soon as I awake, I will be there for you.

Okay.  Okay.

Yet still she sobs, her head down in her hands.

I will wait here for you, my Lawrence.

She doesn't move from the spot where she's sitting, with her legs straight out in front of her, but she does lift her head back up.  She looks blankly forward before finally getting up and making the trek back to the room assigned to her and Casterillo.  It is when she arrives that she sees her cell phone is still in recording mode.  Sighing she picks it up.

I'm sure none of you will care about what I have to say, and never will care about him.  But you shouldn't just give up on him.  One to give up on is you, Konrad.  You were even given a chance at the SCW World Championship, even though you haven't earned one.  You were given a handout, something Casterillo simply doesn't want, and you failed anyway to capitalize on Alistaire's gift to you.  Yeah you'll say the same thing towards Casterillo that he only brings the fight when he wants to, but that's just not the truth.  He ALWAYS brings the fight when he is able to.  But you, you rely on things that don't change you one bit.  This Sunday, I will say this, even though he was almost just killed tonight, Casterillo WILL appear to not just fight you, not just to injure you, but to show the entire world that he is MUCH more than what ANY of you think of him!  Perhaps then everyone will understand and notice what I already see in him.  He's amazing when you get to know him and actually dive down deep beneath his hard shell.  Until you do though Underground Rules Matches could very well become the normal.

Konrad, you aren't ready for what he might do to you.  I will say this.  I'm not going to watch, as I actually fear for your well-being.  You are going to deserve everything that is done to you at Apocalypse.  Maybe, just maybe that night will be the end of all the tormenting words that have been thrown in Casterillo's direction.  Maybe then he can move forward instead of having to go backwards to clean up old issues.  After you're left laying Konrad, I already know something.  He is going to go after Glory Braddock, clearance or no clearance, Sasha or no Sasha.  I have already foreseen it.  It can't be stopped, nor can he.  As long as he is alive, it won't ever end until Sasha allows it to.  That's all I have to say in Casterillo's stead.  My hope is that you Konrad can look inside yourself and shed away all the masks, because there is one thing that you said is right.  We all have the ability to do good or bad.  With me by his side, I have a VERY strong feeling that Casterillo can only get better.  I love him, and deep down I can see that he loves me too.  His black heart is melting.  Don't be one of those that hardens it back up.

Shadron ends the recording and places her cell phone carefully on the nightstand.  She doesn't even bother changing into a nightie or anything, but instead hops right into bed and at least tries to go to sleep.  That endeavor is quite the failure however.  She tosses and turns and is awake all night long, until the sun comes up.  Despite being exhausted she changes her outfit and makes a mad dash back for the hotel.  With the sun shining in through the hospital room that houses Casterillo, she arrives back to a sight that at least relieves her.  His eyes are open and looking straight forward.  As she comes in and makes her presence known...

I told you I would be okay.  Nurse, please leave us for a bit.

The nurse hesitates but then goes, closing the room door behind her.

I...  I can't believe you survived being hit by a car.

The world can not get rid of me until I choose to go.  More important though, while I was out, I returned to the moment I did not want to relive, when my father kicked me out and sent me away for good.

Oh no, Lawrence...

Her hands go to her heart.

It was not all bad.  It reminded me why I am who I am.  I cannot change what has happened, but I know what I can do.  I already know that man lied about my own mother not wanting me.  He was the one that did not want me, but I can be bigger than him.  I can show the world that unlike him, I CAN and WILL care for those that actually deserve it.  Tomorrow I will be released from here after they run another test or two from what I have been told.  At least I have a chance to make things right and show that I am not just some angry man that wants to take others out to teach them a lesson.  In that regard I realized I became like my father.  You are right.  I need to change while I still can, and now that I have gone back, I feel like I can move forward, that is after doing what I must do against Konrad and then Glory.  If Sasha is going to be a roadblock in me finishing things with Glory for her attacking me for no good reason, I will have to do what I must do.  I hope you understand that.

I do, and I will be with you every step of the way.  Then you can move forward.  I can move forward.  We can move forward Lawrence.  And the WORLD can move forward.

Exactly.  Until then, Apocalypse will have to be the eye-opener.  I already know Konrad has no control.  The good thing is I do.  Last time he allowed himself to lose it.  This time I will not allow it to get to that point.  This time around I will finish what was started, and I will not even need the weapons that Konrad claims he will use.  I already explained it to the Jones Clan that weapons are a cheap way out when dealing with your problems inside the ring.  I know weapons are a part of Underground Rules, but in the case of this Sunday, Underground Rules in the end will not do what Sasha wants them to do, and that is deter me from doing what must be done.  The moment she stops resisting is the moment she too will be able to look inside herself and perhaps be a better leader than her sister Katya and yes, even better than her father. Right now, with the road she is on, she has no chance.

Yeah.  Um... right now you should probably rest though.  I want you to be at your very best.

Thank you.  You can stay though.

Thanks.

Shadron ushers the nurse to come back into the room.  As soon as she re-enters a doctor follows in behind her, meaning it is time for preparation for one of the tests to begin.  They allow Shadron to stay in the room until it is time to wheel Casterillo down the hallway for a few x-rays.  Shadron follows and stays outside the x-ray room until a doctor emerges to speak with her.

He looks okay.  Very lucky, but okay.  We have one or two more things to test this afternoon, but everything looks promising, so don't worry.

I'm not worried.  Thanks for everything.

You're welcome.

Shadron turns and heads back to Casterillo's hospital room.  It is here that she waits for his triumphant return, a return that the whole world will see is necessary, starting at Apocalypse against Konrad Raab.
