- Status of Serotonin. As claimed by Mika Kozlov, the tag team champions have indeed left EMERGE and as yet the whole group’s intentions are unclear. EMERGE officials have checked into the validity of the contract, and as expected it looks like it is watertight. Mr Drachawych has been informed and is exploring options. As a result of this, the EMERGE tag team titles have been vacated and EMERGE will have new champions as a result of the Capital Shake Up match in Washington
- Vanilla Skyy has confirmed that the ‘Final Act’ match at EMERGE #14 will indeed be a culmination of the bad feeling between Drake Hemingway and RUSH Champion Gavin Taylor. She has also confirmed that due to Drake’s actions, he will NOT get another RUSH title shot whilst Gavin Taylor is champion unless fate is on his side in Washington. Vanilla went on to say that any further acts of violence between the two after this match will be dealt with in the severest way.
- After the main event, Peyton Rice’s head injury was looked at and as such she will not be competing at EMERGE #14 as a precaution only. However, Peyton has confirmed she WILL be at the event
- Also on the injury news front, Jason Dillinger was released from hospital and cleared for action.
- And finally, after the event a memo was sent to every member of the EMERGE roster making it clear that if anyone wants a title shot of any kind, then they have to work for it. It is thought that this is due to several comments on social media by various members of the roster that seem to claim that they are not getting what they deserve. The memo went on to say that as long as she is in charge, the ‘inmates will never run the asylum’ and promised to ‘ensure fairness across the board’
