The Conversation
July 21st, New Orleans LA
It was still bizarre to Andrew, a phone call from someone he hasn't spoken to in a long time, a lost connection due to unforeseen circumstances even though he still kept in touch with some close to them. Given the circumstances though, it wasn't too much of a surprise that they had not kept in touch. There really wasn't a reason to and he was fine with that. However the tone in the voice when they reached out was something that was alarming to him. Certainly it had to be something serious if they were reaching out with only a week remaining until RTG and the fight of a lifetime. He had given a lot of thought about it over the weekend, even though he had agreed to meet. HE was still fighting with himself to decide why he actually should have cared in the first place, this meant nothing to him and what was happening didn't really mean anything to him because of who was involved. Rather than be a complete asshole though, knowing the seriousness of the situation because of what was involved, he ultimately decided to make the trip out and at least hear the sales pitch before ultimately deciding to do anything irrational.
That being said, a few days later he made the trip out to New Orleans, aside from work it was weird being out here for him. It brought back memories for him that he wasn't a fan of but he had to work through them anyways. They had agreed to meet at a cafe near their apartment. It was easier that way just in case things ended up going south and not the way it was intended. He had a level head though, he wanted to really hear this out and give it the thought it deserved. Again, the idea that this was serious enough to reach out to him and seemingly no one else was enough for him to at least make the trip and go from there. He arrives at the cafe, looking concerned and focused given the circumstances. It only took a few moments before we saw the other person stand up and wave her over. Andrew looks and finally makes eye contact, she almost looks shocked at the fact that he actually showed up. Andrew walks over and we realize that the other person who reached out to him was Jaina Lancaster, Amy’s Daughter.
Jaina: Andrew, I honestly didn't think you would actually show up.
Andrew still looked concerned, unsure of why he's actually here but still felt good to see her again.
Andrew: You said it was important, I told you I would come hear you out so I came.
Jaina: Thank god for that, sit please.
Jaina walks back over to her table and Andrew follows. He sits down slowly as the waiter comes over and they order a couple of drinks to get things started. HE doesn't sit in a comfortable manner, still looking perplexed a little and wanting to figure more things out. Rather than make idle chit chat, he wants to get right to the point.
Andrew: So you asked me to come here, we haven't really spoken in years and now you’re gonna tell me why?
Jaina: I am assuming you haven't been watching SCW that much?
Andrew: Not at all, i haven't had a reason to really follow it other than what Bree has been doing,
It shouldn't be too surprising to Janie, there really hadn't been a true reason for Andrew to follow along given he was on his own business. HE wasn't the type to pay close attention to anything that did not concern him directly because he was solely focused on his own stuff.
Jaina: I figured, which makes explaining this a little more difficult. At least I know that you know a few things, we’ve been having serious problems with Simon ever since he decided to betray us and start making Amy’s life a living hell.
Andrew, at this point, doesn't care to hear her name. Sure he had been civil under a few occasions of importance but he still didn't have any desire to have anything to do with her.
Andrew: I know about him breaking into Bree’s house, I've followed his pathetic little rants on twitter and what he claims to be doing. Why should I care about what he's been doing to Amy?
Jaina: What he has been doing to Amy is everything in his power to get her over the edge. What he did to Bree was merely child’s play, a warm up.
Andrew: To what?
Jaina: what he’s done to me.
ANdrew looks a bit more concerned. When Amy and Andrew were dating many years ago, he and Jaina were close, not like a stepfather type thing but just like a big brother, he wanted to look out for her because of what she meant to Amy at the time but even after everything went down, he didn't really lose that closeness but also didn't really feel it was necessary to be that close because of the attachment to Amy and his full on resentment towards her.
ANdrew: You, I thought he was trying to go after Amy?
Jaina: He has basically done everything indirectly towards her, to do everything in his power to psychologically fuck with her in order to goad her into a match that would destroy her physically and mentally.
Andrew: Like what I did?
Jaina: Honestly, much worse. You just flat out hated her for what she did to you. What Simon is doing is so much worse because he actually stabbed us all in the back and betrayed us. At least it was just between you and Amy and no one else when you came back five years ago. You just focused on my mom and no one else.
Andrew: Well, I did superkick Kelsai in the face.
Jaina: shit I forgot about that, but that's still nothing compared to what Simon has done to those close to Amy. Kelsai was just a protege. He went much closer to the vest to get Amy into a match he wanted.
ANdrew: What did he do?
Jaina takes a deep breath, bringing this up wasn't going to be easy but he needed to hear it in order to get him to do what she wanted.
Jaina: He went even further, he got me in position to drop me with a piledriver if she didn't agree to a last man standing match next week at Rise to Greatness.
Andrew’s face has a little more seriousness to it. KNowing that SCW had previously had the ban on the move itself showed how serious it was, Jaina didn't look too shocked talking about it though as Andrew took notice.
Andrew: Jesus, I can tell he didn't actually do it.
Jaina: I don't think he ever would have, he really wanted to have Amy in a real weak position going into the match so he could wear her down. He’s been all about mind games with her, it honestly wasn't even the worst thing he did to me.
Andrew’s eyes sharpen.
Andrew: He did more to you?
Jaina: Him and Dylan tried to kidnap me and stuff me into the back of a car.
Andrew remembered what had happened to Jaina when she was younger, knowing how much that had fucked with her and the significance of how that affected Amy was well kn own to him. It triggered Andrew in a sense because knowing that they would go that far, knowing how it would affect Jaina was something that even Andrew knew was going too far.
Andrew: Fuck, I’m surprised Amy didnt kill him right there and then.
Jaina: I had a friend save me in the knick of time thank goodness.
Andrew: Dylan, what a fucking tool he is.
Jaina: Don’t get me started.
Andrew: I still don't see why you need me though.
Jaina: Because there;’s no one else I can turn to. Bre and Josh have their shit to prepare for. As much as they could help I don't want to have them get involved at their expense and have something happen to them. I know that you still have your hatred towards my mom but you need to really dig down and set it aside for this because if Simon goes too far, he could really end up doing serious damage to her that he wouldn't think twice about. The way my mom has been because of him lately has been just awful. I'm honestly scared for her and I don't know what to do. I know you had your issues with her, I know that you wouldn't really give her the time of day but I wouldn't be here reaching out and talking to you if it wasn't something absolutely serious. I’ve followed you, knowing that you haven't really been all about hate and have tried to do better, if you really wanted to prove that, you need to come to St Louis and bail my mom out. You don't have to say anything to her, she has no idea I am even here in the first palace or else she would have my ass given your history. Just show up, help her beat Simon and then walk away, it would mean a great deal to me.
Andrew took it all in, what she was saying made sense and it was kind of an eye opener for him. There had been a lot of time between what had happened and given the fact that Amy made her return to the ring in the first place means that what he had done wasn't really that bad. The tone in her voice was very concerning and serious. Andrew kept looking at her and his demeanor was changing to the point where he really didn't have a true meaning to have resentment towards Amy but he didn't want to be friends with her. With how concerned Jaina was, there was a real level of care that Andrew had that he really couldn't sit here and listen to her Jaina and not give a shit. How bad would that speak to his character? After Jaina finishes he takes a deep breath and just looks at her.
Andrew: Look, I know that this means alot to you, I won't commit to this, I have a lot of thinking to do. All I am going to tell you is that if I do go through with it, I'll be there and I’ll get the job done. I won't make any promises though.
Jaina: Thank you, I wouldn't expect you to just flat out say yes but I appreciate you coming here and listening to me.
Andrew: It’s the least I could do, I know that you wouldn't have called me if there was another option. Thanks for the drink, I'm going to get going.
Andrew didn't say much else, they stood up and hugged and Andrew walked away. With a lot more on his plate there was a real crossroad for him to give thought to and he needed to take the time to make this choice.

I’m back.
I bet there's a lot of you who are wondering why I did what I did. Why would I have bothered to make my return? Amy in particular had the nerve to walk out to the ring and expect me to go down there and explain myself.
I don't owe anyone an explanation.
I did what I did because I had to, because I owed it to someone to protect them when no one else was going to be able to do it. There are many roads that I have gone down in my life and knowing that I have been working towards a balance, there was a real sticking point that reminded me that in order to achieve those objectives, we must be able to let go of the past. While I had deep rooted shreds for her, over time I have been able to really just watch it wash away to the point where making the decision to go down and Drop Simon on his face, saving Amy from her fate was somehow a little therapeutic.
QWhat are my other intentions for being here, that is honestly none of your concern.
I find myself here in Trios now that I have made my return. It will allow things to happen if I am able to claim one of the contracts.
What matters now is that I am walking back into my first match in SCW and a chip on my shoulder because things have changed since iont have the rust that you might think i have, i have evolved since being her and i am going to prove that and send a message to everyone here.
