A Sign Of What's To Come?
#1
Darkness.

Not even one single light.

The sound of heels is all that can be heard, clacking repetitively against the floor.

They eventually come to a stop.

The only sound that can be heard now is a writing implement writing against a board.  Once the writer is finished, a cell phone flashlight turns on to reveal what looks to be a room, but the board with the writing for now is not in view.

A familiar voice can be heard, but her voice sounds very hollow, very empty, but also very stern.

"I have lost everything.  So many people just want to view me as unreliable, unable, weak.  You all undoubtedly think this is funny, right?  RIGHT?!?!?"

She can be heard breathing.

"How many of you out there have lost everything you have ever wanted?  HOW MANY?!?!?"

Another pause, but her breathing has grown even heavier.

"None of you understand.  NONE OF YOU!  ESPECIALLY three of you!  None of the three of you have ever experienced what I have had to experience time after time.  I am not just talking about not being able to get that big win.  I am talking about if you truly have taken a walk in my shoes.  None of you have ever been seen as not good enough!  All three of you seem to believe you can just walk around doing whatever the hell you want and not face any consequences!"

"None of you have ever lost ANYTHING!"

"That all changes.  I was once a dog, yeah?  I was once in a collar, right?  Now it is YOU three that will feel EVERY SINGLE THING that I have had to go through!  You will feel my pain, my heartache, and all of the emotions I feel.  You will feel what it means to be kicked away at like you are a meaningless little puppy!  Maybe then all three of you will understand."

"But I doubt you ever will..  All three of you are woman beaters that deserve to be put in your rightful place!  HERE!!!"

The light from the cell phone shines over to a small table, where there sits three dog collars and three chain leashes.

Polly's voice is unmistakable but it's easy to tell that she has been psychologically broken.  She does flip the phone around to her face for the first time.  Yes, psychologically broken, but at the same time very determined, with the outer rim of her eyes almost fully bloodshot.

"The three of you must fall, be humbled.  You all WILL fall!  I have lost EVERYTHING!  So will each and every one of you!  NONE of you will get even close to the SCW World Championship or the SCW United States Championship as long as I am around!  NONE of you will get ANYTHING that you want!  You will all know what it's like to lose EVERYTHING TOO!!!"

She turns the phone to a whiteboard behind her and written in red marker...

BLAKE MASON

THE ENIGMA

XANDER VALENTINE

Slowly the phone turns again, another look of Polly's face telling the entire world that she is not going away.  Instead she is going to do everything in her power to break those who have played a role in breaking her...

And then, total darkness falls once again.
