Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Waylon Creek, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

 

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

 

Sharper: “On the last Breakdown before Rebirth, Breakdown rolls into Jersey!”

 

The cameras continue to pan the crowd before we cut to ringside and the announce position where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit.

 

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots. Folks, tonight, some big matches and-“

 

Knots: “Xander Valentine will be in action. We also will have our third US Title defense from Jordan Majors.”

 

Sharper: “Oh stop it!”

 

Knots: “What?”

 

Sharper: “We’ll also hear from Selena Frost and see Meghan Strader, Syren, and more go at it tonight and…”

 

“Feuer Frei” by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace. He looks around as we then see Ginny Raab walk out, brandishing a German flag, while Dakon Theron, Ludvig Eriksson, Oskar Theron and Kemal Yilmaz walk out from the back. They group look around at one another before starting to head to the ring.

 

Sharper: “And we’re starting off with Konrad Raab…”

 

Knots: “He still wants to get his hands on Josh Hudson!”

 

Sharper: “Is he even here tonight?”

 

Raab and the European Fiery Nation walk down to the ring. Raab grabs at the ropes and pulls himself onto the apron and then into the ring. As the rest of the EFN walks around the ring, going up the steel steps, Raab goes over to the corner, demanding a microphone. Phillips hands him one. Raab takes it and turns back to the middle of the ring as Oskar, Dakon, Eriksson, Yilmaz and Ginny stand in the ring with Konrad. Konrad steps to the ropes nearest the entrance way.

 

Konrad: “Josh!”

 

The crowd roars as the music fades out.

 

Konrad: “Have you found your balls or are you still running?”

 

Konrad looks around.

 

Konrad: “Josh! Bring your ass out here! We have plenty more to do. Or are you hide behind your son, behind his tag partner…”

 

Konrad looks around as the crowd boos the mentions of Josh.

 

Konrad: “Going to just hit and run…you kept talking about how I didn’t deserve anything. You can’t even give me a one on one match. But that’s fine…I have my own army. My own future I am fighting for in this sport. And if have any courage, you’ll bring Alex…you’ll bring Isaac…you’ll bring your sorry ass…”

 

Konrad looks at the stage.

 

Konrad: “Where the hell are you Josh? Can you even show up anymore? You took the piss out of me for it. I at least had a good reason. A reason SCW even recognized as I dominate in two sports. But you…what’s the excuse tonight? Missed a train? Booked another half-ass indy show, all to give your boys a reason not to face the consequences of them jumping me from behind? Costing me that match against you?”

 

Konrad looks around before then turning and storming over to his German mace which he had placed in the corner. He grabs it.

 

Konrad: “You’re only going to make it harder, Josh. Do you want them to have any future in this sport? Or do you want me to end their hopes in one night? I’ll do it…I’ve done worse!”

 

Konrad turns to the camera.

 

Konrad: “Do you want me to do worse, Josh? Do you want me to end their careers? Because that’s what your disrespect is going to be paid with?!”

 

We then suddenly see a shot appear on the big screen. It appears to be Josh Hudson on his cell phone, doing a video call. We hear some wind whipping around as we then Josh holding the camera up to himself. He appears to be seated.

 

Josh: “Hey! Konrad! Sorry, we could hear you bitching from the TV inside the house. I figured I’d call in.”

 

Josh Hudson turns the camera to show Isaac Stone sitting next to him in a lawn chair, with Alex Hudson in a camping chair. The camera shows a fire in a fire pit burning as he turns the camera back to him.

 

Josh: “Don’t worry. We’re all here. I hope you don’t mind we had a night off. Happens when you’re a legend and trust me, there’s no reason we need to waste the time to make it to New Jersey.”

 

The crowd boos.

 

Hudson: “You’d still yell. You’d still threaten. And all that would happen is someone would get a talking to from security.”

 

Konrad: “What? Now have a problem of showing up to every show?”

 

Josh: “Nah, Raab…just taking advantage of the respect I’m owed. And unlike you, I’m actually training the future generation and doing it right. We’re just enjoying some time around his fire, talking about life on the road, some of my biggest wins, me beating you included, and then we’re going to watch some tape and make sure they’re sharp for their SCW debut.”

 

Konrad: “And when’s that going to be? Next year at Retribution. They should be here answering for their actions-“

 

Josh: “They don’t need to justify a damn thing to you Raab. They already know they’re above you. And-“

 

Konrad: “Screw this…”

 

Konrad Raab then throws the microphone down, dragging the German mace behind him. He then exits the ring, dropping down to the floor. The EFN follows him as he starts to head to the back. They follow as Hudson just laughs.

 

Hudson: “You realize you can’t walk to my house, Konrad! The man is as stupid as I thought he was.”

 

We can hear Isaac and Alex laughing as Josh keeps goading Konrad as the cameras follow Konrad through the curtain and into the tunnel. The EFN follows.

 

Sharper: “Josh is still running down Konrad. But Konrad’s just left ringside and-“

 

Knots: “Where is he going? He’s got a mace and he’s just on the war path.”

 

Konrad Raab storms down the tunnel, running down some steps, before then walking down another tunnel. He swings the mace to break the curtain before stepping forward.

 

Konrad: “Where the hell is CHBK?”

 

Konrad looks around before walking over to a crew member. They point down the hallway. Konrad keeps walking down the hallway. Ginny runs over to him and tries to talk to him.

 

Ginny: “Konrad, don’t do-“

 

Konrad: “I know exactly what I’m doing.”

 

Konrad Raab continues to storm down the hallway, the EFN fully in tow, before he storms over to CHBK’s office, pounding on the door. He waits a moment and pounds on the door again. The door opens and CHBK stands in the doorway.

 

Konrad: “You have a choice right now-“

 

CHBK: “And you need to cut the attitude. I’ve been watching the show, so I know exactly what’s happening!”

 

Konrad: “Josh and his son and friend want to run and hide. After what they did to me at Retribution-“

 

CHBK: “You don’t need to say more. They’re all going to be at Rebirth, Konrad. And they’re making their debut. And don’t worry…as I’ve said…people have to deal with the consequences of their actions in the ring…So it’s Josh Hudson and the Product against you and any two you want from the European Fiery Nation!”

 

The crowd roars. Konrad just smiles and nods. He slowly backs away, nodding more.

 

Konrad: “Good…”

 

Konrad then turns to Ginny and the EFN as CHBK watches them.

 

Konrad: “We’re going to war, boys.”

 

The crowd roars as Konrad then starts to walk off. Ginny looks at Konrad before then heading after him. The EFN members all look at one another before the scene cuts back to a panning shot of the arena.

 

Sharper: “Konrad Raab getting his wish. I don’t know how Josh Hudson is thinking about it. He cut the call after Konrad went backstage.”

 

Knots: “He’ll be ready. He’s Josh Hudson. And then think of the explosive offense of the Product!”

 

Sharper: “We will see at Rebirth. Meanwhile, fans, you have a chance to vote for the potential third match in the Three Stages of Hell Underground Championship match at Rebirth. Will Colleen’s Confined Prison or will Kim’s Bunkhouse Stampede-“

 

Knots: “It’s We…the People’s…Bunkhouse Stampede.”

 

Sharper: “We caught up with both earlier this week and Colleen, here are her comments.”

 

The scene opens up with the camera showing the bars of a prison. We then see the door of the jail close as we see Colleen MacDonald walk into view and sit down on the bare-bones mattress. A metal toilet is next to her as is a small sink.

 

Colleen: “You couldn’t handle this, Kim. No, I’m not talking about just being jail. I know you’ve been committed. In my opinion, for not long enough. No…I’m talking about a small space where you can’t run. There’s nothing to grab and you just have to fight!”

 

Colleen looks at the camera.

 

Colleen: “I’m sick of you acting like you’re high and mighty because you’re willing to maim yourself over this belt. What’s worse – you could compete outright and still prefer to just use weapons. See, if someone wants to face me and bring weapons, that’s fine. I’ll still come with myself, the best weapon I know!”

 

Colleen pauses and scoffs.

 

Colleen: “What bothers me, Kim, is that you say that’s wrong. I should take joy in maiming someone with weapons. And I nearly did it at Retribution. One weapon…the ring bell…I may have gotten too cute there. But you got a lucky shot in…ironically, a punch…and we went down. Nothing solved. At Rebirth, something will be solved. And I hope the fans will choose something different. A brawl inside small confines. There will be blood, bruises, and pain…lots of it.”

 

Colleen then stands up and walks over the door, pressing on the bars.

 

Colleen: “But even if I have to enter your hell, I will still come out on top. And you WILL have to accept it, Kim.”

 

The scene slowly fades to black.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Jordan Majors vs. Diamond Steele

 

Diamond and the Gem Stones begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various instruments as we are able to see Diamond Steele emerging from the curtain. She  smirks as she looks around the arena.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from London, England, she is Diamond Steele!

 

Diamond finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd. She waves at them off. She smirks as she opens up a pocket mirror and takes a moment to admire how beautiful her hair is as she waits for the match to begin.

 

Sharper: “Diamond Steele said a couple of weeks ago she is looking to finally make those waves in SCW. She’s going to be someone who will get mic time, will get match time. We will see.”

 

Knots: “She’s got a US Title match tonight!”

 

Sharper: “Jon…she doesn’t. Again. Jordan Majors is not the US Champion.”

 

Knots: “She says she is. And I’m not going to tell her otherwise. We still don’t know where Asher Hayes is!”

 

Sharper: “SCW does not recognize her at all. And as we heard before this match, SCW gravely concerned over Asher Hayes.”


"Hater era"

A laugh can be heard before the opening sounds of “Overdose” by Memphis May Fire begin. The song quickly picks up pace as purple, pink, and yellow lights shine throughout the arena, emanating from the stage.

The song plays for some time before Jordan Majors walks out to the middle of the stage and turns around and puts her arms straight out as she looks down. The SCW United States Championship is around her waist. The camera pans in to her leather jacket to see #HaterEra emblazoned on the back. She bobs her head to the music before turning and looking directly toward the ring. She kneels down and taps a fist into the ground before she grins and begins to make her way toward the ring at her own pace.

 

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, she is Jordan Majors!”

She ignores the crowd on each side of the ramp as she slowly walks to the area just outside of the ring. Majors makes her way to the ring steps and slaps them twice before she runs up and jumps to the middle rope from the outside of the turnbuckle. She screams out to the crowd and points to herself before she grins and strikes a pose in the corner with her arms stretched out to each side.

Jordan hops over the top rope and into the ring and removes her jacket. She tosses it out of the ring before she walks to the ropes and climbs through to the middle rope. She sits on the rope and nods her head before she ducks back into the ring. Jordan makes her way to her corner and sits on the top rope as she waits for the match to begin. She tells the official, Jennifer Cassidy to come over and extends the US Title to her. Cassidy looks at her and shakes her head. Jordan starts to snap at her. Diamond steps up. She points to the title belt.

 

Jordan: “Hey! I’m a fighting champion!”

 

Diamond: “You want to lose it. I don’t care. I’ll beat you. Stop this farce!”

 

Jordan: “Then let’s dp it. US Title match!”

 

Jordan hops down and places the title in the hands of Jennifer before trying to have her hold it up. Cassidy resists and then pulls the title away, but Majors then runs over and kicks Diamond in the ribs. The bell sounds as Cassidy tosses the title to Phillips.

 

Sharper: “Jordan Majors claims she’s defending the title. Trying to make our official to go with it. Diamond’s on board.”

 

Knots: “And Majors is fighting. Championship approach. Attack the challenger first!”

 

Sharper: “Yeah, a cheap shot!”

 

Majors then kicks Diamond again and then runs her into the corner. Diamond turns as Majors hits a hard kick to the ribs and then another and another. The crowd ohs with each shot as they echo. Majors then kicks her a fourth time before then whipping her across the ring. Majors runs after and Diamond gets a boot up. Majors staggers out and Diamond runs over and jumps up and takes her over with a spinning arm drag. She then holds onto the arm. Majors quickly moves to the ropes. She snaps at the official to get her off.

Diamond lets go and backs up and walks around the ring. Majors slowly rolls to the floor. She then starts to walk around the ring. (1) Diamond looks up and looks at her.

 

Sharper: “And Majors now to the floor. Resetting as Diamond comes back a bit.”

 

Knots: “See. Just smart ring awareness. Slow it down. Prevent her from getting it going.”

 

Majors takes a moment. (2) She then rolls into the ring and Diamond starts to head to her. Majors tells her to get back and rolls back to the floor. (3) Diamond starts to back up and Majors slides in and runs at Diamond, but Diamond suddenly hits a spinning heel kick. The crowd roars. She goes for the pin.

Jordan kicks out. Both get up and Majors moves to the corner as Diamond hits a forearm shot and then another and another before whipping Majors across the ring. Diamond runs after and Majors jumps up and over her. She backs up as Diamond stops in the corner. Majors then runs at Diamond and Diamond spins and throws her chest first into the corner. Majors steps back and Diamond grabs her and hits a high-angle back suplex. Majors rolls over. She gets up and Diamond kicks her in the ribs. She grabs her head, but Majors shoves her off. Diamond hits the ropes and Majors hits a back elbow. Diamond slowly gets up and Majors kicks her in the ribs, hooks her head and hits a falcon arrow. She goes for the pin.

Diamond kicks out.

 

Sharper: “And Majors fights back. Falcon arrow into a pin.”

 

Knots: “But only two.”

 

Diamond rolls over and gets up and Majors kicks her in the ribs and whips her into the ropes. Diamond bounces off and Majors clotheslines her down. Diamond starts to stir and then Majors hooks her up and hits a snap suplex. She gets up and hits an elbow drop. She goes for the pin.

Diamond kicks out. Jordan rolls over and starts to get up and Diamond stirs. Majors grabs her and pulls her up and clubs her in the back once and then again before moving her to the ropes. She hits a European uppercut. Diamond hits the ropes. Majors hits a second one before whipping her into the ropes. Diamond bounces off and Majors steps up, but Diamond jumps up and wraps around her and into a float over DDT.

 

Sharper: “And spiked her. Diamond flows through and into the DDT. Jordan down!”

 

Knots: “Find the ropes! Use that ring awareness!”

 

Diamond turns and hooks the leg.

Majors gets her shoulder up. Majors rolls over and stirs as Diamond gets up and grabs her and hooks her up. Majors elbows out of it. She then steps to the ropes. Diamond spins around and Majors runs at her, but Diamond ducks under and grabs her and hits a German suplex into a bridge.

Majors kicks out. Diamond rolls off and looks at the official before grabbing Majors. The crowd looks on as Diamond then whips Majors into the corner. Majors hits the corner and Diamond runs at her and goes for a jumping dropkick, but Majors moves out of the way. Diamond gets caught in the tree of woe. Majors then gets up as Diamond reaches up, trying to get free and Majors jumps to the middle rope and jumps up and hits a double stomp to the chest of Diamond. The crowd ohs as Diamond drops to the mat.

 

Sharper: “Diamond went big. She missed but Majors didn’t. The double stomp to the chest.”

 

Knots: “And Diamond went down into the mat.”

 

Diamond winces, slowly rolling over and moving into the corner again as Majors walks around the ring. She then sees Diamond in position and runs at her and hits the Donk Bonk. The crowd ohs as Diamond just drops down to the side. Majors smirks as she walks around the ring. She then drags Diamond out from the corner and hooks the leg.

Diamond gets her shoulder up. Majors looks up and shakes her head. She then drags her up and pulls her to her feet before then just shaking her head. She geos for a superkick, but Diamond ducks at the last moment. Majors spins around and Diamond hits a spike DDT. The crowd ohs. Diamond rolls over and moves to the corner. She climbs to the middle rope and then moves to the top rope. Majors stirs.

 

Sharper: “Diamond on the top rope. Maybe looking to end this!”

 

Knots: “And Jordan Majors…look at her. Turn! Try to see her! Your title-“

 

Sharper: “She’s not the champ, Jon!”

 

Majors slowly starts to get up and Diamond waits before then watching her get in position. She dives off for the Silence is Golden, but Majors ducks and Diamond rolls through. She pops up and Majors runs over and jumps up and plants her with the Cash Out.

 

Sharper: “Diamond misses! Jordan didn’t! Cash Out!”

 

Knots: “Cashing out on another victory and title defense!”

 

Majors turns and hooks the leg.

The bell sounds as Majors rolls off. She then smirks as she kneels next to Diamond Steele.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Jordan Majors!”

 

Majors looks around.

 

Majors: “Where’s my title!”

 

Majors turns and moves to the ropes. She points at the US Title. Phillips grabs at it before we see him listening to the timekeeper. Majors drops down to the floor and runs over and grabs the title and pulls it away.

 

Knots: “Majors retained!”

 

Sharper: “Majors won here tonight. Phillips was reluctant to give her the title. She’s not the holder.”

 

Knots: “Possession is nine-tenths. She’s just using the logic Asher was. And I’m in favour of it!”

 

Majors then turns and holds the US title over her head before then starting to walk around the ring.

 

Backstage, the scene opens with Destiny Page trying to focus as she looks at her runsheet for the evening.

 

Page: “Just focus, I need to-“

 

Chris and Ryan Hollywood run over to her.

 

Chris: “Dest-“

 

Ryan: “-iny!”

 

Destiny Page sighs.

 

Chris: “Feeling good about Monday. I know it-“

 

Page: “Guys…can you leave me alone?”

 

Ryan: “What? Why? We made sure that you were safe at Monday. Hollywood is full of scum and villainy and we’re not going to let you get Blake Lively’ed!”

 

Page: “You jumped in when the director yelled cut after the screen test as if it was a threat!”

 

Chris: “Well I swear I saw a knife and-“

 

Ryan: “He shouldn’t have so abrupt-“

 

Page: “He has to be clear for everyone to hear. I thought you were experienced!”

 

Ryan: “Oh we are!”

 

Chris: “Super experienced!”

 

Ryan: “But only on the good sets. And that…that was a-“

 

Page: “Don’t say it. I wanted to actually be in the movie this time. They’re looking to move on from other legal obligations and…you…I could’ve been a Dependable and I’m not sure. I’m hoping my agent can smooth it over!”

 

Chris: “Wait…you have an agent-“

 

Page: “Just…let me do my job tonight, okay? And…screw something else up!”

 

Page storms off as Chris and Ryan look at one another.

 

Ryan: “I don’t understand. I thought we were perfect.”

 

Chris: “She’ll thank us later.”

 

Chris and Ryan head off as the scene cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as we see Jordan Majors walking down the hallway, pleased at her victory. She then walks past La Pequena Luz and Amelia Nevado who are off to the side. Luz side-eyes Jordan and Jordan walks past and notices this. She stops and turns around.

 

Majors: “Have a problem with me?”

 

Luz turns to Amelia and then back to Majors.

 

Luz: “I do. You’re not the champion.”

 

Majors: “Oh but I am. I think I have a good case for it.”

 

Luz: “Why can’t you just earn it like the rest of us. I know SCW when you were last around was competitive, but-“

 

Majors: “What I went through then doesn’t matter. I earned this title. I’ve MORE than earned this title. You don’t like that I’m now the Star of Today, well, that’s fine. I don’t care. Perhaps if you didn’t pick up every crusade, you’d maybe not be wondering if you could still keep it going.”

 

Amelia shakes her head as Luz looks at Majors.

 

Luz: “I don’t need advice from you, Jordan. I do hope you look in the mirror at some point. But if you want to test me if I’m able to still keep it going…my card is free at Rebirth!”

 

Majors: “Yeah, whatever.”

 

Majors turns and heads off as Luz watches her leave. Amelia shakes her head as we cut to the ring.

 

Syren vs. Derek Adonis

 

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain, accompanied by Lexy Chapel on her left and Ravyn Taylor on her right. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering, as Lexy waves her arms, trying to get them to cheer even louder for her client. Ravyn whispers something to Syren, who smiles and nods.

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. Introducing, being accompanied by Lexy Chapel and Ravyn Taylor and representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, this is SYREN!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope and unclipping the title, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up, and holding up the Adrenaline title with her right hand. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client. She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Syren takes off her ring jacket and hands it to Lexy as Ravyn claps and stands off to the side. Adonis follows up last and pulls himself through the ropes, lifting them for the four women to enter the ring as well.

Sharper: “And Derek Adonis returning for the first time in weeks and talk about a match that could be a trap match.”

 

Knots: “This was picked by Ravyn. Definitely. Had to be. Derek Adonis has several wins over Syren. For some reason, he finds a way.”

 

Sharper: “And Ravyn knows that. Wants to make sure Syren can keep her focus. Especially given how tough the last couple of years have been.”

 

The bell sounds. Adonis looks at Syren. Syren looks at Adonis. Adonis lets out another KABLAM as the crowd yells out KABLAM back. He then steps up and Syren and him lunge before locking up, but Syren drops down and around and into a side headlock. Adonis reaches around and pulls her back into the ropes. He then fires her off. Syren bounces off and Adonis shoulders her down. He runs into the ropes. Syren drops down in front of him. He goes down. Syren turns and grabs the leg and turns him to his back. She then steps through for a sharpshooter, but Adonis pushes her off. Syren falls to the ropes. Adonis gets up and Syren runs over and kicks him in the ribs. She then wrenches the arm.

 

Sharper: “Syren now to the arm.”

 

Knots: “A bit of back and forth. I can’t say its feeling out here.”

 

Sharper: “Almost trying to figure out where to build moment.”

 

Adonis winces as Syren elbows the arm. She then wrenches the arm again. She then turns and pulls his arm back into a hammerlock. Adonis then reaches up and then bends down. He yells out “KABLAM!” as he then butt bashes Syren in the ribs. He then hits a snapmare. Syren rolls through. She gets up and turns and Adonis scoops her up and hits a scoop slam. He then hits an elbow drop and goes for the pin.

Syren kicks out. Both get up and Adonis goes for a clothesline. Syren ducks under and jumps up and into a crucifix pin.

Adonis rolls out of it. Both get up and Syren hits a dropkick. Adonis hits the mat. He then gets up and moves to the corner. Syren follows up and chops him. The crowd woos. She chops him again. The crowd woos. Adonis spins Syren into the corner. He swings, but Syren ducks and somersaults forward. She gets up and Adonis turns and runs at her, but Syren hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

Adonis kicks out. He rolls over.

 

Sharper: “Syren looking sharp here. Adonis showing some of his resiliency too.”

 

Knots: “He’s never been the fastest, but that’s had benefits elsewhere.”

 

Syren steps forward. Adonis rolls over and gets up and Syren runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits a spinning heel kick. Adonis hits the mat. Syren gets up and moves to the corner. She exits to the apron. She then climbs up to the top rope. Adonis gets up and looks up as Syren dives off with a crossbody, but Adonis actually catches her. The crowd roars as Adonis then hits a fallaway slam. Syren rolls to the ropes. She winces as Adonis starts to get up. Syren slowly gets up to her feet and turns to Adonis who runs at her and hits a body avalanche. She hits the mat. Adonis then runs into the ropes and hits a running elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

Syren gets her shoulder up. Adonis rolls off.

 

Sharper: “And nearly got her. Just a series of high impact-“

 

Knots: “Everything from Adonis is high-impact. Helps with his extra weight.”

 

Sharper: “And the weight difference is a concern for Syren. It has worked against her before in the past.”

 

Adonis gets up as Syren rolls over. Adonis clubs her in the back. He then places her head between his legs. He hoists her up and goes for a powerbomb, but Syren slides down. She then hits a forearm shot and then another and another before running into the ropes. She bounces off and Adonis catches her and hits a Samoan drop. The crowd ohs. Adonis hooks the leg.

Syren kicks out. Adonis rolls off and starts to get up. Lexy tries to will Syren on as Syren rolls over. Adonis walks over and clubs her in the back again and then whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Adonis scoops her up for a tilt-a-whirl, but again Syren spins through, landing on her feet and then pushes back before hitting a superkick to the jaw of Adonis. Adonis staggers back and hits the ropes, bouncing off only for Syren to hit a second superkick.

 

Chapel: “Superkick! Soiree!”

 

Adonis hits the mat as Syren falls to her knees.

 

Sharper: “And two superkicks and a big moment for Syren. Got both of them.”

 

Knots: “And Lexy is happy. Hoping to sell more shirts!”

 

Sharper: “Syren now needs to build on this. You wonder if there’s a degree of doubt. I don’t know. As we mentioned, Adonis has found ways to beat her.”

 

Syren then gets up as Adonis slowly stirs. He starts to get up and Syren then runs up behind him and jumps up and hits a jumping rocker dropper. The crowd ohs. She rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Adonis gets his shoulder up. Syren rolls off. She then starts to get up and Adonis rolls over. He then starts to get up and Syren runs at him, but Adonis sidesteps and sends Syren into the official. The crowd ohs as the official goes down. Adonis rolls over and down to the mat. Syren turns and checks on the official. She leans over as Lexy points at Adonis. Ravyn then looks on as Syren keeps checking on the official.

 

Sharper: “The official, just got waylaid.”

 

Knots: “I don’t think Adonis meant that, but Syren couldn’t stop. The collision sends down Jennifer Cassidy.”

 

Syren then gets up and turns before suddenly, the lights dim as we see a video start to play on the big screen.

 

“Oil Money” by Graham Barham plays in the background as we see shots of Syren walking to the ring in slow motion, the camera focusing particularly on her breasts and ass, clearly sexualizing her. We then cut to shots of her entering the ring in her younger years, clearly showing off her ass as she slowly steps through. We even see shots of Ravyn Taylor or Lucas Knight watching her enter and admiring her figure.

Focus is on CHBK for a moment, seemingly for some reason, before cutting to more shots of Syren posing for various photos for posters and men’s magazines, recorded by SCW cameras.

We cut back as the crowd roars and we see Tearra Skye and MacKenzie Strader in the ring. Ravyn slides in and runs over as Syren turns as Skye and MacKenzie clothesline her down. Ravyn nails Skye with a forearm and then nails MacKenzie with a couple.

 

Sharper: “The hell are they doing here? The Cowgirls from Hell! They’re attacking Syren!”

 

Knots: “Were they behind the video?!”

 

Sharper: “I don’t know, but Ravyn Taylor trying to help Syren. Lexy Chapel yelling orders on the floor!”

 

She falls to the ropes and Ravyn turns and grabs Skye and forearms her again and again before she goes to send her into MacKenzie, but MacKenzie dodges and then kicks Ravyn in the knee and then in the jaw. She goes down. Syren gets up and hits a superkick on MacKenzie Strader.

 

Sharper: “Superkick!”

 

Syren then turns, but Tearra Skye jumps up and hits a fameasser. She then rolls over and finishes off the Road to Methodone. She then rolls out of the ring as MacKenzie rolls out. Jennifer Cassidy stirs as Adonis slowly gets up and looks around, confused before he runs over and hits a running splash onto Syren. He hooks the leg. MacKenzie and Tearra head to the back.

 

Sharper: “No! The splash!”

 

Knots: “He’s going to get another one! He’s getting another one!”

 

Cassidy sees the pin.

Syren throws her arm up and it drops down, unable to get the shoulder up.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Derek Adonis!”

 

Sharper: “And Adonis again manages to find a way to pin Syren. And I don’t know if he knows what happened. But the Cowgirls from Hell…I did not expect to see them out here.”

 

Knots: “Add the video…I mean…Syren looking hot, but she’s more than that!”

 

Syren rolls over as Adonis gets up. He looks around and has his arm raised. Ravyn gets to her feet on the floor. Lexy heads over to her. Ravyn says something to Lexy before turning to the ring. Ravyn holds her head and rolls back into the ring to check on Syren. Adonis celebrates in the ring, joined by the KABLAMia Tourism Board as the scene cuts away.

 

Breakdown cuts backstage as we see William Heaven backstage. We notice him backstage, talking with a couple of police officers.

 

Sharper: “What is this about? William Heaven talking to the police?!”

 

Knots: “Maybe he has something planned. Then again, maybe Xander Valentine didn’t something off?”

 

Sharper: “We’ll try to find out, next!”

 

The scene fades out.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as we see Syren and Lexy Chapel heading into their locker room. Lexy then turns as Ravyn Taylor bolts right past the door and walks off.

 

Lexy: “Hey! Where are-“

 

Syren: “She probably has an idea.”

 

Lexy: “Well, we need to figure out how to deal with the damage. SHE booked you against Derek. And Derek…how…how does he keep getting through? Is he with the Russians? I mean he has a tropical island. It’s probably Cuba. TOTALLY with the Russians and-“

 

Syren: “Lexy…you saw. I was jumped by the Cowgirls from Hell.”

 

Lexy: “After that video. Didn’t think they had that pull? Maybe I need to talk to my dad. Clearly he hand to approve it…so many people in on this…holding you back-“

 

Syren: “Lexy…it’s fine. Yeah, it sucks losing to Derek Adonis. I know I am better than him. He has my number. But we know what happened out there.”

 

Lexy: “Yeah, yeah, yeah, you were screwed, after we also saw a video and damn, I forgot…you’re hot. Maybe we need to lean into-“

 

Syren: “I did enough back in the day. You know…”

 

Lexy: “No, I don’t know. And DON’T REMIND ME!”

 

Syren: “Plus, I’m here to compete. I said I’d win the World Title again this year and I’m going to do it. Ravyn reminded me what it’s all worth and you reminded me I’m a champion. And I’m going for it…”

 

Lexy: “So then…what are you thinking? I mean Ravyn’s not here. We can-“

 

Syren: “Going to play it by ear. Ravyn’s managing this. We all agreed, okay.”

 

Lexy: “Ugh….fine! She better get back soon from her satanic ritual then!”

 

Lexy then grabs her phone as Syren turns and heads back into the locker room.

 

We open backstage as we see William Heaven walking down the hallway, surrounded by the police officers. Heaven takes a few more steps before then stopping and pointing.

 

Heaven: “In there, gentlemen. His name is Dumont, Chris Dumont.”

 

The cops then walk past Heaven and over to the door. One then knocks on the door.

 

Cop: “Open up, Police!”

 

They wait a few moments before pounding on the door again.

 

Cop: “Police! Open up!”

 

A few moments pass before the door opens as Irvine steps out.

 

Irvine: “What’s the prob-….you.”

 

Heaven just smiles.

 

Heaven: “Time for some consequences for your actions. Get Dumont out here!”

 

Irvine steps forward and the police stop him as two officers go into the room.

 

Knots: “Ha! Heaven is getting Dumont arrested!”

 

Sharper: “For what?”

 

Knots: “Last week, he got him. He got Heaven in the ring!”

 

We hear some yelling as we then see the camera pan around as Irvine looks at Heaven, glaring at him. We then see Chris Dumont in the room, shaking his head, almost fuming, as he is getting handcuffed. David Striker, wearing a sling, paces a bit.

 

Striker: “This is bullshit! It’s bullshit!”

 

Dumont is pulled back as Kyle Gibson tries to hold David Striker back.

 

Cop: “Mr. Dumont, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be provided for you at no cost.”

 

Striker: “Don’t worry. We’ve got that.”

 

Dumont is led out of the room and into the hallway. He then sees Heaven as Heaven steps back.

 

Heaven: “Get that thug out of here. Chris…you really made a big mistake last week.”

 

Dumont: “I made a mistake?! You’ve just made another one. Another one.”

 

Dumont then kicks at Heaven and tries to get free, but the officials pounce on him, pushing him over to the storage crate.

 

Dumont: “I’ll get my hands on you Heaven! Mark my words! You’re going to regret this more!”

 

Heaven: “I am uttering threats added to the list of charges.”

 

Striker: “The hell is he charged with?”

 

Striker storms out of the room. Gibson and Irvine are with him as one officer steps back.

 

Cop: “Attempted assault, harassment, and now uttering threats.”

 

Dumont is slowly pulled up as we see CHBK walking into view with Dean Black.

 

CHBK: “Excuse me, officer. What is going on here?”

 

Cop: “Who are you?”

 

Heaven: “The delinquent owner who cannot control his roster.”

 

CHBK: “I’m in charge here.”

 

Cop: “We have a warrant for his arrest. Mr. Heaven here is the complainant. We intend to extradite him to Tennessee as soon as we can on a bench warrant.”

 

CHBK looks at Chris Dumont.

 

Dumont: “You better be ready to give me him, Desoubrais! We can end it now! I will get my hands on him!”

 

Dumont is forced off as Striker steps forward.

 

Striker: “Have to now get the authorities involved? Can’t get your grunts to just try and attack us. Need to play dirty pool like this…you really want to escalate in this way, Heaven!”

 

Heaven turns to Striker.

 

Heaven: “They don’t need to be here. They’ve surpassed you. They’re above you. And your friend is the one who did this. He attacked a civilian. I’m no wrestler. I’m not trained for this.”

 

Striker: “Bullshit you coward! Bullshit!”

 

Striker lunges and extends his arm and grimaces before pulling back, throwing his arms out.

 

Striker: “God damn it!”

 

Heaven: “Try it. I’ll have you arrested too. How’s your shoulder, huh?”

 

Striker looks at Heaven.

 

Striker: “You’ve made the biggest mistake in your life, Heaven. When Chris gets out-“

 

CHBK: “Okay! Enough…you-“

 

Heaven turns to CHBK.

 

Heaven: “You’re welcome for doing your job for you.”

 

CHBK: “Perhaps you need to consider the consequences of your actions-“

 

Heaven: “No. I have every right to be out there. I have a manager’s license. And if they cannot handle the message I give in support of my clients, that’s their problem. Perhaps they are two weakminded to be here.”

 

Striker: “What did you say?”

 

Striker hearing this starts to storm over. Dean Black heads over to stop him as Irvine and Gibson also restrain Striker, careful not to further damage the shoulder. Heaven just smirks. Heaven then turns to CHBK.

 

Heaven: “You’re the one who said you wanted people to handle it in the ring or there would be consequences. Well…I handed him some. Now, perhaps you need to look in the mirror and realize this isn’t your wrestling days…And how you respond…remember, I can still hold you responsible for the dangerous I was put in.”

 

Heaven turns and walks off as CHBK glares at him as he leaves. Striker snaps at him.

 

Striker: “Like you give a damn. You treat you own son as a damn crash-test dummy. Let me the hell go!”

 

Irvine: “David…just…nothing is going to help here.”

 

Striker fumes.

 

Striker: “Figure it the hell out…Get him out!”

 

CHBK turns as we cut to another angle to show Dumont now being placed in a squad car at the back entrance of the building. He can be seen just looking ahead, almost fuming internally, trying to prevent himself from saying something he shouldn’t. His face is nearly emotionless as he sits in the back seat. The cops close the door. We then see the cops talking before two head around. The crowd boos.

 

Knots: “Bad boys, bad boys. Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when Heaven slams the cuffs on you!”

 

Sharper: “Oh stop it!”

 

Knots: “It’s great! These guys just go around picking fights. Finally the lost one. Justice is being done in SCW!”

 

The camera backs off as the siren starts to go off as the cop car starts to leave the building. It turns into the driveway and continues to drive off as the crowd boos.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

MOMENTS AGO:

We see a still of Chris Dumont being led out of his locker room in cuffs.

 

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Shocking turn of a events here. William Heaven has just had Chris Dumont arrested.”

 

Knots: “He deserved it! We have the proof!”

 

Sharper: “Let’s first see what happened.”

 

Dumont is led out of the room and into the hallway. He then sees William Heaven as Heaven steps back.

 

Heaven: “Get that thug out of here. Chris…you really made a big mistake last week.”

 

Dumont: “I made a mistake?! You’ve just made another one. Another one.”

 

Dumont then kicks at Heaven and tries to get free, but the officials pounce on him, pushing him over to the storage crate.

LAST WEEK:

We cut to the end of Breakdown last week. Chris Dumont is on the floor as Fall of Man fights with the Troupe.

 

Knots: “Now for the proof. The production team looked for it. And look at this! He puts his hands on Heaven!”

 

Sharper: “Dumont has wanted to get his hands on Heaven for a while.”

 

Dumont then sees Heaven and runs over and grabs Heaven. The crowd erupts in cheers. Dumont then turns and rolls him into the ring. Heaven rolls over as the crowd cheers. Dumont then turns and grabs a steel chair from under the ring. He then rolls into the ring himself. Creek then turns as Heaven starts to get up and Dumont then gets up with the steel chair. He looks at Heaven and lifts the chair up, but Creek then runs and spears Dumont down. The crowd ohs. Creek rolls over as he turns and looks at Heaven. Heaven nods and rolls out of the ring. Creek then gets up.

 

We then abruptly cut away.

 

Sharper: “We have a situation now! What the hell-“

 

Knots: “What’s going on? Striker now arrested?!”

 

We open up in the production truck as we see Ravyn Taylor inside the truck.

 

Ravyn: “Sorry to interrupt but I feel that there are a couple of things that need to be discussed…”

 

Ravyn walks along the back of the truck and then steps down to the front row.

 

Ravyn: “Someone here had a little fun at Syren’s expense, wanting to apparently sexualize her. And here in 2025, that’s not something we can just stand by with. It’s one thing if she willingly wants to do it, but we owe women that-“

 

Crew member: “Look…we were just told to run it-“

 

Ravyn: “By? Hmmm? Do you want me to think someone above you made the call? Director…you think I’ll believe Alex who has done more to help ensure Syren is viewed as legitimate would allow that?”

 

Director: “I’m not saying him?”

 

Ravyn: “Then perhaps we need to start wondering who? Or maybe you’re all cowards who just wanted to get your rocks off during the show.”

 

Ravyn turns and looks at one crew member.

 

Ravyn: “Perhaps you. You look like you’ve not been sexually satisfied since you were alone your parent’s basement since high school. Are you just a pervert?”

 

Ravyn then steps over and looks at him, standing over him, almost straddling him, but careful no to.

 

Ravyn: “Did you want this type of attention? You could have just pulled out your phone if you wanted to see Zoe in a bikini.”

 

Ravyn then steps over him and stands next to him.

 

Ravyn: “I don’t think any of you have the fortitude to risk the firestorm of criticism for that. So…let’s make this simple…who gave you the video file?”

 

Ravyn looks around. She watches everyone before turning and stepping behind another crew member and walking over to the director and leaning in.

 

Ravyn: “You’ve been here for years. Do you really want me to be an enemy? I am someone who can make it difficult in the simplest ways for you to do your job. Someone came in here and asked to play the film. I assume it came attached with money. I don’t care about that. I just want to know who? Was it the Straders?”

 

The director looks up.

 

Director: “No…it wasn’t. They were just in the crowd. We picked them up-“

 

Ravyn then turns to the panel.

 

Ravyn: “Now, you need to ask yourself. Is hiding this person’s identity worthwhile? Because while I have an eidetic memory and I have used one of these control boards before, I have had some head injuries in the past and perhaps I’ve forgotten. Maybe if I press this button-“

 

Director: “Please…we have commitments and-“

 

Ravyn: “Then…who gave you the footage?”

 

Director: “Heaven-“

 

Ravyn: “William Heaven-“

 

Director: “No. Billy Heaven Jr. He kept talking about the bakery and he wanted to share a tribute and…”

 

Ravyn: “I’ve heard enough…”

 

Ravyn then presses a button and we suddenly cut to a shot of the inside of the arena, focusing on the ring.

 

Sharper: “Well….”

 

Knots: “Billy…you dog, you. Half dead and still looking to get some. But man, make a mixtape or something.”

 

Sharper: “The man is a walking HR violation and only hear because of William Heaven. But…how is Ravyn feeling that tonight, Derek Adonis got a win over Syren; Billy Heaven Jr. is to blame while the Cowgirls from Hell attacked her and Syren too.”

He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans. He stands on the ramp, using the lightning bolt signals.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. From Oslo, Norway, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Oskar Theron!”

He walks to the ring before sliding under the ropes before holding them open for Ginny to get in, and he goes on the turnbuckle to do his lightning bolt sign, with Ginny applauding Oskar before he puts himself in a corner. He holds the ropes open again for Ginny to leave the ring before turning to the opposite end of the corner of looking at his opponent, waiting for the match to begin.

 

Sharper: “You wonder if Oskar is seeing this match as a tryout to team with Konrad at Rebirth. Either way, this is going to be a tough challenge.”


Knots: “Meghan Strader going to be across from him. But Strader, I think, she’s already been busy. Cowgirls going after Syren earlier!”

 

"Unchained” begins to play as the houselights slowly dim. At the twelve second mark, lights start flickering as the beat and rhythm of the song get louder.

The big screen lights up with the chrome ‘S’ emblem and explodes into shots of Meghan, smacking the taste out Shadow Starr’s mouth with a kick to the jaw, stepping on Ai Mei’s skull, pinning Corey Lazarus one, two three and the last shot of her being her holding one half of the PWA Tag Team Titles, BWF Tag Titles, ICW Tag Titles, IWF tag Titles, CWA Tag titles and with the Revo1 Wrestling tag team title. All kinds of tag titles. It’s her thing.. Her name flashes on the screen, and a small amount of Pyro shoots off as Meghan steps out from behind the curtain.

Meghan stops halfway down, looks side to side, raises up her arms and the entire stage explodes in gold and silver pyrotechnics as the family sneer comes across Meghan’s face.

At that Meghan turns it into a stride and slides under the bottom rope into the ring and jumps up to the top turnbuckle as she raises her fist in the air. She steps down.

 

Sharper: “Meghan Strader another person with huge hopes for 2025. She wants to hold the World Title this year.”

 

Knots: “That takes a lot. To come in somewhere new and call out the roster. You better be ready.”

 

DING DING

 

Collar and elbow lockup, Meghan quickly losing the advantage there, she drops the hold, floats behind Oskar dropkick to the back of him. He stumbles into the corner, grabs the two sets of ropes, turns around. Ducking the clothesline, he sends Meghan over the top rope to land on the apron. Meghan with a kick through the ropes, catching Oskar in the ribs. He holds at his ribs as she delivers another swift kick. Meghan with a third kick, but Oskar catches the ankle, dropping down to the mat while dropping an elbow on Meghan's knee. She drops the hold on the top rope, Oskar breaks the hold. Meghan rolls to where her entire body is on the ring apron, she rolls down to the mat outside as Oskar stands up; he backs away allowing her to enter the ring.

 

Sharper: “Surprising sportsmanship from Theron.”

 

Knots: “Maybe wanting to just prove he can outwrestle her. Think of that line on your resume.”

 

Lock up attempt, Meghan with a forearm to Oskar's thick skull, the big man is sent backwards. Irish whip into the ropes, Oskar reverses and Meghan is sent running. Trying to catch the top rope to brake herself, she is unsuccessful, Oskar catches her on the rebound with an airplane spin. Oskar spins around, dropping Meghan's throat across his shoulder with a airplane spin into a stunner. He makes a cover.

Meghan kicks out.

 

Sharper: “Two count after the stunner. Meghan had no clue where she was.”

 

Knots: “She knew enough to kick out!”

 

Oskar pulls her to her feet, right hand, knife edge chop to Meghan in the corner. She winces from the pain of a second knife edge chop and Oskar grabs the wrist, whip into the corner. NO! Meghan counters with an armbar takedown. Meghan hooks on an arm trap crossface. The referee is down in Oskar's face asking if he wants to submit, Oskar shakes his head "No." Oskar shoves up from the mat with his free hand, Meghan isn't heavy enough to prevent this, Oskar shoves forward into the ropes, clutching at the bottom rope. Meghan breaks the hold immediately, maybe toying with him? Oskar pulls himself up as Meghan backs off. Meghan with a high knee lift into Oskar's chest, Oskar spins around once, slamming her down to the canvas with a spinebuster. NO Wait! Meghan at the last instant somehow turned the spinebuster into a DDT, Oskar may be out cold on the canvas!

 

Sharper: “DDT! What a counter. Meghan showing that experience and that coolness.”

 

Knots: “That was just her making sure if she was going down, Oskar would be meeting the mat up close and personal!”

 

She grabs him around the head, pulling him up to his feet, forearm to his chest, European uppercut sends him into the corner. Front dropkick to Oskar's knees nearly causes him to drop down to the canvas on his wounded knee, but the European uppercut gets him back up vertically in the corner. Meghan with a knife edge chop, she turns sprinting to the middle of the ring. Turning back to face Oskar she sprints, runs up Oskar, kicking him in the chest as she reaches his chest and flips backwards. She finishes it off with another dropkick to Oskar's knee that she has decided to work over in this match, the right knee of Oskar has got to be giving him some pain now. She drapes the leg over the middle rope, grabs the ankle, and bends the knee over the middle rope to cause even more pain and damage to that leg, Oskar is breathing heavily now, the sweat pouring from his forehead. Elbow drop onto Meghan's back, she loosens the hold, another elbow drop, she drops the hold completely. She looks up at Oskar, swinging out with a right hand, Oskar hooks her in a half nelson, turning around slamming her down to the mat with a half nelson slam., Meghan's foot lands under the bottom rope, so no cover is made. Oskar grabs a quick breather, but moves quickly when he notices Meghan moving beside him. He pulls her to her feet, Meghan with another arm trap crossface, slamming Oskar down in the middle of the ring, she is working on the shoulder and right leg of Oskar, possibly stopping him from both of his finishers.

 

Sharper: “Blocking both big attempts by Oskar.”

 

Knots: “Meghan showing she’s got Oskar scouted.”

 

Sharper: “Every match is big for her. And she has Polly Pingotti at Rebirth, so you don’t want to trip beforehand given also how Polly is viewing this match.”

 

Oskar isn't so quick to push up this time and get to the ropes, but he slowly begins to make his way there. He reaches out for the bottom rope when Meghan releases the arm trap crossface, jumps into the air springs back from the ropes with a knee drop onto Oskar's right shoulder. She sits him up against the ropes, she runs to the opposite ropes, sliding forearm smash into Oskar's face sends him outside of the ring. She climbs up to the top turnbuckle, measuring the distance to her prey. She dives as Oskar reaches his hands and knees; diving headbutt from the top rope to the outside, it nails Oskar and both are down here on the outside of the ring.

Meghan pulls Oskar up to his knees, forearm smash rocks him on his knees.

Knife edge chop smacks on his t-shirt covered chest as the referee continues counting here in the match.

A gamengiri kick from Meghan sends Oskar onto his right side as Meghan picks herself back up to stand over the member of the Fiery European Nation.

Oskar is struggling to get up and as Meghan bends over him, he grabs her tights, sending her head first into the railing around ringside.

Her head smashes off of the railing, and Oskar begins to pick himself up from the matting.

Oskar whips Meghan back to the ring, her back slams hard into the ring apron, she falls down to the floor.

Oskar rolls Meghan into the ring and the count is stopped.

 

Sharper: “Oh. We almost saw both counted out!”

 

Knots: “Not what Meghan Strader would’ve wanted and it doesn’t look like what Oskar Theron wanted either!”

 

Oskar follows Meghan inside, to continue the match, he is limping slightly on his right leg. He pulls Meghan up to her feet, scoop slam in front of the turnbuckles, Oskar climbs up. Diving leg drop across Meghan's chest and throat, but Oskar gets off of Meghan quickly knowing that is not enough to put the Cowgirls President and leader away. He walks down to her feet, grabs an ankle in both hands and prepares for Boston Crab maybe at to wear Meghan out some. Meghan grabs Oskar's head and rolls him up in a pin.

Thr--NO! Oskar manages to kick out at the last second to prevent the loss.

 

Sharper: “Inside cradle only two!”

 

Oskar is back up to his feet, holding one of Meghan's ankles in his hand, elbow drop onto her right knee, he grinds the elbow into the side of her knee. Oskar drops the ankle, gets back up, drops another elbow onto the knee. Meghan is in the ropes now, preventing Oskar from another elbow drop to her knee, he backs up allowing her to pull herself up to a vertical base. Oskar charges, Meghan drops down, holding onto the top rope. Oskar goes over the top rope to the floor, but no he lands on the ring apron. He taps Meghan on the shoulder, right from Oskar, right from Meghan, right from Oskar, another right from Meghan and these two are going all out here in this match. Oskar gets the upperhand, hooks Meghan for a vertical suplex to the outside, he has her up. Meghan twists in mid air coming down behind Oskar. She quickly wraps her arms around his waist as she is falling, German suplex from the ring apron slams Oskar's right shoulder into the floor, and he is hurt, Meghan is hurt, they are both hurt here. The referee foregoes the mandatory ten count to check on these two, neither of which are moving yet. As the ref hops down from the apron, Meghan stirs, and the crowd's held breath releases a bit. Oskar moves as well, and the crowd releases the rest of the collective breath. The referee checks on both and signals that they are fine, he rolls back inside the ring where he starts the ten count.

 

Sharper: “Both down as Oskar Theron thrown from the apron. Not a good landing.”

 

Knots: “She going to take the countout?”

 

Sharper: “Somethings tells me not, but she has to figure out how to get to her feet. She took hard landing too.”

 

Meghan slowly rolls over. (1) She then reaches out for Oskar as Oskar remains down. (2) Meghan takes a moment to recover a bit too. (3) She then grabs Oskar by the head and pushes up on him to get up to her knee. (4) She then starts to drag herself up to her feet. (5) She drags Oskar up and up to his feet. (6) She looks into the ring and the referee’s count before then lifting him up and rolling him into the ring. (7) She rolls in after. Oskar moves to his hands and knees and tries to get up. He staggers up and Meghan pushes herself up as Oskar turns to him and Meghan catches him. She pushes him forward before then pulling him back with the Blackened. She rolls Oskar over and hooks the leg.

The bell sounds. The crowd roars.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Meghan Strader!”

 

Sharper: “And Strader gets the win-“

 

Knots: “But she may not be getting out of here in one piece!”

 

Meghan Strader gets up as her music plays. But just as she gets up, we see Polly Pingotti running down from the back. Marissa Swanson is a few strides behind her. Polly slides into the ring. She then gets up and grabs Meghan and spins her around. The two immediately go right up to one another. Polly just yells in her face.

 

Polly: “Don’t you dare look past me! I’ll make sure it’s your biggest mistake!”

 

Polly then shoves Meghan back as we see MacKenzie Strader, Tearra Skye and Cara Strader run down to the ring. They stop at the ringside area. Meghan just regains her balance and steps up.

 

Meghan: “I’m taking it all Polly! You can say you’re not a stepping stone, but you will be no matter-!”

 

Polly then kicks her in the ribs, pulling her head in between her legs and drops her with the Polly Pop. Cara, MacKenzie and Tearra now bolt for the ring. They all slide in. Marissa helps Polly get out of the ring and then dives out herself. Cara runs over to the ropes to keep Polly and Marissa out as MacKenzie and Tearra check on Meghan.

 

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti driving Meghan Strader into the mat. And the rage that’s been bubbling inside of Polly coming out tonight!”

 

Knots: “Oh man, when they touch at Rebirth…”

 

Sharper: “Strader may have her big vision, but Polly Pingotti is not going to be overlooked for one second!”

 

Polly looks in the ring, Marissa Swanson keeping an eye on Cara. Polly smirks as she looks at Meghan as Meghna turns and winces, holding her face, before turning and looking at Polly. The scene then cuts away.

 

Sharper: “Now let’s go backstage where Jaina Lancaster is with the Shinigami Foundation.”

 

The scene cuts to the locker room area where Jaina Lancaster stands with Dante Slayton. Alex Belmont and Wil Pierce are behind him.

 

Jaina: “Thank you Adam. I’m here with Dante Slayton and Dante, you’ll face the SCW Wordl Champion, Xander Valentine later tonight, in non-title action. It’s a huge match and a huge opportunity for you here in SCW.”

 

Slayton: “And we’re going to see whether or not it’s going to be a moment everyone remembers forever. My track record speaks for itself outside of SCW and especially overseas. I know I can take someone like Xander and push them to the limit. A shame the title’s not on the line, but I guess baby steps. The bigger question is whether the Fall of Man will get involved.”

 

The crowd roars a bit hearing their name.”

 

Slayton: “See, Xander, you don’t need to worry about me. I’m coming at you…one on one. Wil and Alex, they’ll stay back here. But if Fall of Man comes out, they’ll not only come out like bats out of hell, but I will happily stand alongside you Xander ending their delusions of grandeur!”

 

Jaina: “Are you calling out the Fall of Man?!”

 

Slayton: “I’m just stating it like it is. So if they want to get involved, it can be the worst mistake of their life. And if not…Xander…may the best man win!”

 

Jaina: “Slayton faces Valentine later tonight, here on Breakdown!”

 

The scene fades out.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

The scene opens up backstage as we see James Evasn talking to William Heaven backstage.

 

Evans: “Is this really the best option?”

 

Heaven: “It’s eliminating a distraction. The Dangerous Minds, the Troupe, that’s all they are. And they’re focusing on me because they know they cannot match the three of you.”

 

Evans: “And Billy running around-“

 

Heaven: “Don’t worry about him. He’s out of our hair. We have one goal. The World Championship. With Fan’s Choice coming up, we don’t have to worry about the Tag Titles until then. So everyone is focused on Xander.”

 

Evans: “And Waylon?”

 

Heaven: “I’ll keep working on him. We just need him focused on something useful until he gets this out of his system. He’s a very focused man, like you. And like Gio, but we’ve got him geared the right direction, okay.”

 

Evans: “Fine, but you know I’m doing this my way too-“

 

Heaven: “I owe you that after Retribution.”

 

Evans: “Don’t worry. Come Rebirth, we’ll have what we want.”

 

Evans goes to walk off, but turns and looks over as we see Kandis and Tommy Valentine walking into view. The crowd cheers. Heaven looks at them as James glares at both.

 

Tommy: “So he’s one of the tag champs-“

 

Kandis: “One of them.”

 

Tommy: “Interesting.”

 

Tommy and Kandis walk past. Heaven turns to James.

 

Heaven: “Focus on Xander.”

 

The scene cuts away.

 

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.

 

Sharper: “Last week, Selena Frost revealed what she’s thinking – she has her eyes on Taking Hold of the Flame!”

 

Knots: “Almost just holding that contract over everyone’s head. She wants to remind everyone she’s better than them.”

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal. She heads to the corner and asks for a microphone. Phillips hands her one and Selena turns back to the middle of the ring. The music fades out as the boos echo around the building.

 

Selena: “Good that we can stop pretending…”

 

Selena looks around.

 

Selena: “Have a problem with greatness?”

 

The crowd boos some more as Selena looks around.

 

Selena: “Well you’re going to have to get used to it and stay used to it. Because I, for one, am not going anywhere, and while Fall of Man and Xander Valentine can have their war over the title, it is all over who will eventually be facing me at Rise to Greatness. And how…oh no, it’s not going to be through the use of my automatic rematch. I will keep hold of that forever if I must. I know exactly what I am capable of, as do all of you…and I know I can win Taking Hold of the Flame.”

 

Selena looks around.

 

Selena: “And that’s where my attention is. Because while everyone is fighting for who will champion now, they are really fighting in my world. And in my world, I call the shots. And I have few accolades that aren’t yet on my resume…Taking Hold of the Flame is one.”

 

Selena looks at the crowd.

 

Selena: “So…and I don’t care what CHBK thinks…I’m going to declare it right now. I am in Taking Hold of the Flame!”

 

Selena looks at the crowd as the crowd boos.

 

Selena: “Believe it! You better…because I will be and I will win and-“

 

Suddenly, the first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system. Selena Frost turns to the entrance way as Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage. She grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp. She has a microphone in her hand.

 

Braddock: “Selena…sorry to interrupt.”

 

Selena looks at Braddock.

 

Braddock: “I couldn’t help but hear your plans…and well, since it seems like I need to call my own spots around here….”

 

Selena shrugs, seemingly agreeing.

 

Braddock: “I mean…you have a good idea.”

 

Sharper: “Braddock has been critical on social media about the lack of matches in April. She wanted to compete tonight.”

 

Knots: “Did she learn nothing against Dexter? She doesn’t need social media!”

 

Sharper: “She should be Adrenaline Champion if things were fair.”

 

Braddock walks to the ring.

 

Braddock: “While I’m not going to be…and with all due respect, arrogant enough to suggest this is my world….it hasn’t sit right with me for years that my only SCW World Championship is only fifteen minutes long.”

 

Selena: “Doesn’t seem right for someone like you.”

 

Braddock: “Thank you Selena.”

 

The crowd boos a bit as Braddock reaches the ring. She then walks up the steel steps.

 

Braddock: “And so, Selena, I hope you don’t mind me coming out here and taking some of the sheen off this, but if I’m going to have to call my own shots, then I’m going to call a shot I know I can do and unfortunately, Selena, you may not care for it. Because I want that shot at the World Title. And I wouldn’t mind it against Xander if the cards break that way…but I’ll take what I can get. And just like you, I don’t have Taking Hold of the Flame on my resume as a victory either. And I think I can outlast thirty-nine others…”

 

The crowd roars. Braddock looks right at Selena.

 

Braddock: “And that includes you, Selena.”

 

The crowd ohs as Braddock walks up to Selena Frost.

 

Selena: “You really think that?”

 

Braddock: “I do.”

 

Selena: “Fine to have misplaced confidence, but I didn’t stutter when I said this was my world.”

 

Braddock: “Then prove it…”

 

Braddock smirks as Selena looks at Glory. Suddenly, “Groupie” plays throughout the arena. The crowd roars as Braddock turns and looks at the entrance way, almost annoyed, while Selena Frost rolls her eyes. Syren walks out from the back, microphone in her hand. Lexy Chapel is behind her, pointing  and laughing before applauding and then celebrating.

 

Syren: “Well if we’re going to talk about proving ourselves-“

 

Selena: “I don’t think you deserve to be our conversation!”

 

The crowd boos. Syren looks at Selena.

 

Selena: “You just came off losing to Derek Adonis and I don’t know if you’ve got it much more. We here are having a conversation and-“

 

Syren: “My seven former World Championships allow me to have an off night and not have to justify a damn thing.”

 

The crowd roars.

 

Syren: “Derek Adonis…yeah, he has my number. But clearly someone thinks I’m a threat. Someone thinks something else, but I don’t care. Just like you Glory, you’re looking to get the bad taste of whatever that was with Grant out of your mouth…”

 

Braddock doesn’t say anything.”

 

Selena: “This isn’t about being warm and fuzzy. Glory wants to think she can beat me, but if she wants to fall at my feet then-“

 

Braddock: “Excuse me…If you think I’m going to just fall, you don’t know who I am.”

 

Selena sighs.

 

Selena: “Glory, it won’t matter. You, her, just like Blake, Kandis, Asher, Xander…they could stand up to me and so this is bigger than everything-“

 

Syren: “What about Josh?”

 

Selena rolls her eyes.

 

Braddock: “Maybe you need to be brought down to earth again. And if you’re as good as you say…then you can face me…”

 

Syren: “And me…”

 

Selena turns away, shaking her head.

 

Selena: “You know what? No…I’m not going to face either of you. This isn’t about your opportunity or yours…”

 

Selena points to Glory first and then Syren.

 

Selena: “This is me simply making clear what is next and-“

 

“This is How a Heart Breaks” then plays as the crowd roars. Syren turns and glances behind him as Lexy Chapel stops celebrating and turns and points at him, almost menacingly. Glory Braddock rolls her eyes now as Selena shakes her head. CHBK walks out from the back. He also has a microphone in hand. CHBK then turns to Syren briefly and can be seen saying “sorry” before turning to the ring. Lexy can also be seen saying “Don’t screw her!” This gets Syren to look at Lexy, eyebrow raised before Lexy looks on in horror and turns away.

 

CHBK: “Selena…I’ll be the person who decides who you face.”

 

The crowd roars.

 

CHBK: “Because while you’re out here talking about how you want to be Taking Hold of the Flame…I’ll accept it. You’re in Taking Hold of the Flame. Same for you, Glory…and same for you, Syren.”

 

CHBK looks at all three before continuing.

 

CHBK: “But while Selena, you may not want to have that match, I think seeing for the first time ever Syren vs. Glory Braddock vs. Selena Frost would be a hell of a match!”

 

The crowd erupts.

 

CHBK: “And so at Rebirth…that’s what’s going to happen.”

 

Selena shakes her head. She steps up, but CHBK cuts her off. Glory meanwhile is presently surprised.

 

CHBK: “But not without some stakes…and that is…whoever wins, is number forty in Taking Hold of the Flame, but whomever takes the fall…you get number one.”

 

The crowd roars.

 

CHBK: “May the best woman win.”

 

CHBK steps back as “This is How a Heart Breaks” plays throughout the arena. Selena looks at CHBK as Glory turns to Selena and smirks. Syren smiles as Lexy returns to celebrating.

 

Sharper: “Syren. Selena Frost. Glory Braddock. Three of the greatest women competitors in SCW history. Winner gets number forty in the Taking Hold of the Flame!”

 

Knots: “Selena doesn’t look happy. But Glory does for once. And Syren…there’s your redemption!”

 

CHBK heads to the back as the scene cuts away.

 

The screen comes to life without warning. No transition. No commentary. Just the faint crawl of static giving way to the hum of old, colorless video. The lens flickers once, then settles into a space that should not exist.

 

Stone walls. Uneven. Wet in places. A room shaped like a tomb, windowless and forgotten. No sound leaks in. The air feels slow, like it’s waiting for something to breathe first. Candles line the walls—short, melted, handmade. They do not flicker. They do not dance. They all lean inward toward the center of the room, as though gravity has been reversed around one point.

 

At the center lies the spiral that we have seen for a couple of weeks now.  

 

It’s not drawn. It’s constructed—built from ash, melted wax, bone dust, and something darker that stains the stone where it touches. The spiral is uneven but deliberate. It doesn’t flow like art. It pulls—each curve like a tightening coil, wrapping around a center that feels like a drain.

 

And at the heart of it, Enigma kneels.

 

His robes are worn, sleeves heavy with soot. His shoulders slope low. His posture is not reverent—it is tired. The familiar cracked mask covers his face, but even beneath it, he seems to sink. He breathes slowly, not like a man at rest, but like a vessel that’s begun to leak.

 

For a long time, he does not move.  Then, almost imperceptibly, he lifts his head.  Not high. Just enough to let the light catch the edges of the mask—but it reflects nothing. His hands rise from his lap, slow and uncertain, trembling faintly as they move toward the mask.  His voice, when it comes, is dry. Hollow.

 

“I was never meant to keep it this long.”

 

He doesn’t say it for effect. He says it like a truth too long held in his throat. Like something waiting to be spoken before it rots.

 

“The silence was not mine. The voice was borrowed. The spiral never recognized my name.”

 

He lifts one hand, palm facing up. It is blackened—coated in soot and ash, the edges of his fingers raw where ritual has worn them down. He studies it for a moment, then lets it fall.

His other hand moves to the edge of the mask.

 

There is no pause.  There is no struggle.  He lifts.  And the mask peels away like skin left too long beneath fire.  It comes free slowly, as if it remembers being made for someone else. He holds it in both hands now, staring into the hollow eyes that once made him something. It doesn’t look like fear on his face. It doesn’t even look like grief.

 

It looks like relief.

 

Like someone finally setting down a name that was never theirs.

 

He lowers his gaze and, with careful precision, places the mask in front of him—perfectly centered in the heart of the spiral. His fingers linger against it. The candles lean further. The room tightens.

 

“I carried the name,” he says quietly. “But it never knew me.”

 

A flicker runs beneath the mask—barely visible. A hairline ember curls along the center fracture. It glows violet, then white, then deep black-blue, like the inside of something burning without permission.

 

And then, the mask ignites.

 

There’s no explosion. No roar. Just fire—quiet, perfect, and complete. The flames crawl upward in smooth tendrils, pulled by no wind, drawn by no hand. They make no smoke. They don’t consume. They erase.

 

The mask doesn’t melt.

 

It disappears.

 

The fire collapses inward, spiraling into itself until there’s nothing left.  Nothing but the mark.  At the very center of the spiral, burned into the stone, is a small symbol. A broken circle, pierced down the middle by a single vertical line, surrounded by etched shapes that resemble both scripture and scar tissue.  

 

It does not glow.  It does not pulse.  It simply is.  Enigma bows his head again. Hands resting on his thighs. Breath slowing like the body is no longer being driven by a will of its own.  And then—  a sound.

 

A breath, deep and wrong, moves through the room like a second heartbeat.  Then, a voice.  It does not belong to Enigma.  It never did.

 

“You kept it warm.”

 

There is no change in his body.  He does not resist.  He simply stops being.  From the spiral, a figure rises.  Not violently. Not suddenly. Just… naturally.  Like gravity has changed its rules for him.

 

He stretches into his shape like a man returning to a forgotten body, joints clicking not with pain but with memory. The movements are slow, purposeful, like the limbs belong to someone who doesn’t need to hurry—because everything has already been decided.

 

He stands over the spiral, over the mark, over the place where the mask once lived.

And as the camera lifts to meet him, we see the face.  Not Enigma’s.  Not a monster’s.

Just different.

 

Pale. Too pale. Veins visible where skin should hide them. Eyes wide, steady, unblinking. Not glowing—just present. The kind of present that watches, and always has.  There’s no expression  No emotion.  Just certainty.  He lowers his gaze toward the camera.  His voice is steady. Cold. Clean.

 

“Kirsten.”

 

One word, spoken not as a challenge.  Not as a name.  As a mark.

 

“You saw the mask. You heard the voice. You walked the spiral with him. But I am not him.”  His head tilts slightly. Not curious.  Awake.

 

“I am what was always beneath.”

 

He steps forward. The spiral crumbles beneath his boot. The ash scatters without wind. The center mark remains, unshaken.

 

“At Rebirth, you will not face silence. You will not confront a mask.”

 

The faintest shadow curls at the edges of his words.

 

“You will stand before what neither could contain.”

 

A long pause. The candles begin to go out. Not all at once. One by one, they choose to die.

“And you will learn,” he says, “why the mask was never enough.”

 

The room darkens until only he remains, lit by nothing.

 

Not glowing.  Not waiting.  Just standing.

Present.  Then, a breath.  Not exhaled.  Spoken.  “I am Veil.”

 

The screen cuts.

Dante Slayton vs. Xander Valentine

 

The lights in the arena fade down to a low blue as suddenly a voice speaks up from somewhere within the darkness that surrounds everybody.

 

<For a few seconds, this place was Armageddon!>

As Marilyn Manson's cover of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" begins to play, the fans in attendance start to stomp in time with the drumline as Dante Slayton slowly walks out onto the entrance way, playing to the crowds followed by both Wil Pierce and Alex Belmont who do fist bumps with Dante before he slowly starts to make his way down to the ring. Belmont and Pierce head to the back.

 

Phillips: “Introducing first, he hails from Boston, Massachusetts, representing the Shinigami Foundation, known internationally as the “Harbinger of Fury”, this is DANTE SLAYTON!!!”

 

Dante continues his walk down to the ring, occasionally fist bumping with a fan before he gets to the ring steps where stands there for a moment with his eyes closed as he fights to center himself before he slams both of his fists on the top of the ring steps before climbing them, wiping his feet off before entering the ring properly before hitting his father's signature crucifix pose to the roar of the crowds.

 

Sharper: “Slayton out here alone. He said he would be out here alone for this one. He wants to challenge Xander. He wants to face him one on one.”

 

Knots: “But you heard him earlier. Fall of Man, they come out…Shinigami Foundation will be ready. I don’t know how bright it is to call out the Fall of Man.”

 

Sharper: “Also shows how the Fall of Man is getting under everyone’s skin.”

 

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

 

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

 

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

 

“Some are born to kill

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs. 

 

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring. The SCW World Championship is around his waist.

 

Phillips: “His opponent, fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado… from Rochester, New York… he is the SCW Hall of Famer, the SCW World Champion, the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner…. XANDER F’ING VALENTINE!”

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell. Xander hands off the title as Slayton smirks at him.

 

Sharper: “Xander Valentine always ready. But these two are both laser focused – both for different reasons. Xander can’t afford a trip now. Now with a huge match against James Evans on the horizon. And Slayton…you beat Xander, you immediately get everyone’s attention.”

 

Knots: “So then why call out Fall of Man. Why put that target? They’ll let you do your thing. They’re not animals!”

 

Sharper: “Given their tendency to use attacks…they attacked Xander last week!”

 

Knots: “He was asking for it!”

 

The bell sounds. Xander steps out, hands up, ready to fight. Slayton watches him too and he sidesteps around the ring, watching Xander’s eyes and Xander lunges and goes for a hard right and then a left. Slayton backs up and nods as Xander backs up and Slayton continues to circle. Xander lunges again and goes for another left and then a right, but Slayton backs up again. The official tells Xander to get back as Dante is in the corner. Xander backs up and continues to watch Dante and again lunges, this time, catching Dante with a left to the stomach and going for a right hook to the jaw, but Dante grabs the arm and pulls him into the corner and then pulls the arm back and into a hammerlock. He pulls Xander back and then Xander goes for a back elbow, but Dante leg trips him, dropping Xander to his knees and Dante leans over him, but Xander winces a bit before then ducking under and undoing the hammerlock. Dante steps forward, holding onto the arm and then dropping down with an elbow drop to the arm. Dante grinds his elbow into the shoulder, but Xander just palms Dante and pushes back. Dante keeps grinding and Xander just swats him. Dante rolls back, letting go. Both get up and Dante runs over and grabs the arm of Xander and wrenches it again. He then starts to move for a snapmare, but Xander blocks it and nails Dante in the stomach with a couple of hard shots to the stomach before he shoves Dante into the ropes. Dante remains back as Xander gets up and looks at him.

 

Sharper: “And how about that – Slayton coming in and trying to outwrestle the world champion!”

 

Knots: “Guess he’s going to go right for the mouth of hell. Why not?!”

 

Sharper: “And Xander boring a hole into him with that look on his eyes.”

 

Xander nods at him as Dante watches him and the two lunge at one another. Dante goes low and drops around and then goes for a Greco-Roman takedown. Xander elbows him in the jaw. Dante spins around and then turns around and walks into a Xander hip throw. Xander goes for an elbow drop. Dante moves out of the way. Both get up and Dante grabs the arm and wrenches it before going for a Russian leg sweep. Xander elbows out and then whips Dante into the ropes. Dante bounces off and Xander lifts him up, but Dante turns and grabs the arm, locking in a Fujiwara armbar. The crowd roars as Xander drops to a knee. Dante tries to force him down and then Xander moves to the ropes, shuffling on his knee. Dante, however, takes the opportunity to elbows him in the shoulder. Xander moves to the corner. He turns and Dante kicks him in the ribs and grabs the left arm and pulls it around the top rope.

Dante lets go and backs up. He then steps up and grabs the arm again and then wrenches it and hits a running armbreaker bulldog. He rolls over Xander.

Xander kicks out. Both get up and Dante goes for the arm and grabs it. He wrenches it and Xander pulls him into a knee.

 

Sharper: “And Dante has his focus entirely on the left arm of Xander!”

 

Knots: “But Xander cuts it off and he’s going to have to keep the attention away.”

 

Xander shakes out his arm and then kicks Dante Slayton in the ribs before nailing him with a right hook. Dante falls back to the ropes. Xander steps up and nails him with another hard right and then another and another, all while Dante is on the ropes. The official comes over and calls for the break.

Xander backs up and walks around the ring. He shakes out his left arm some more and Dante steps up and runs at Xander, but Xander boots him in the face. He then grabs him and pulls him up before running him over to the corner, driving him face first into the top turnbuckle. Dante turns around and Xander whips him across the ring. He runs after and Dante gets a boot up. Xander staggers out and Dante runs out and goes for another armbreaker, this time DDT style, but Xander lifts him up and launches him into the air. Dante drops down to the mat, chest first.

 

Sharper: “And the explosive offense. Launching Slayton into the air!”

 

Knots: “Going to have to make sure you hit. Xander still has two arms and a lot of strength!”

 

Dante rolls over, holding his stomach. He gets up and Xander scoops him up onto his shoulder. He then hits the snake eyes. Dante stumbles back and Xander runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits a  running boot. Xander goes for the pin.

Dante grabs the arm and locks in a kimura. The crowd erupts as Xander yells out and Dante smirks. He keeps the hold on and Xander starts to get his knees under him. He slowly moves himself and Dante and moves closer to the ropes inch by inch before managing to hook the ropes with his boot.

Dante lets go and Xander rolls over, holding his arm. Dante starts to get up, watching Xander. Xander starts to get up and turns and shoot kicks Xander’s left shoulder. Xander turns and Dante kicks him again. He then runs over and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle as Xander falls into the corner. Dante then hammers away on the forehead of Xander before turning and hammering away on the left shoulder.

Xander shoves him off. Dante rolls through. He then runs over to Xander and grabs the arm. Xander pulls him back by the hair with his right arm and then shoves him back. Slayton rolls through and runs at him, but Xander then scoops him up and hits a spinning sidewalk slam. He pulls back on the leg.

Dante kicks out.

 

Sharper: “Got that shoulder up. Xander just scooping Dante up. And that’s the difference maker.”

 

Knots: “Xander’s cool in there. That’s why someone like James…going to get under his skin. There’s a reason Fall of Man have a number of ways. Waylon nearly outlasted him. James just needs to break him.”

 

Xander rolls over and gets up. Dante turns and winces and Xander walks over and knees him in the ribs. He then gutwrenches him up and drives him down with a powerbomb. Xander rolls over, shaking out his left arm before starting to get up. Dante rolls over to the ropes. Xander then heads over to him and grabs him, but Dante grabs his left arm and turns and starts to try and force him down with a crossface. Dante keeps pulling him down before turning and punching Xander in the arm a few times. Xander pulls away. He rolls over and gets up and Dante kicks him in the ribs, hooks his arms and hits the Re-Animator. The crowd ohs. Dante turns and hooks the leg.

Xander gets his shoulder up. Dante pushes himself up and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting the Flashing Elbow. He goes for another pin.

Xander gets his shoulder up again. Dante rolls off. Xander rolls over and Dante grabs the arm and Xander and wrenches the arm and moves into a hammerlock. He pulls up as Xander staggers out. He then spins him out and goes for the Circle of Iron, but Xander catches Dante by the throat. He then hoists him up and chokeslam him down. Xander walks around the ring. Dante rolls over, holding his back. He starts to get up and Xander pulls him in. He then hoists him up and holds him up, before pulling his left arm away and holding Dante in the air before dropping him down with a brainbuster. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper; “Hanging brainbuster. One arm. Xander with an impressive display of strength, but will that keep him down!”

 

Knots: “He almost had to hold him up with one arm thanks to the damage Dante Slayton has done.”

 

Xander turns and hooks the leg.

Dante gets his shoulder up. Xander looks up and then starts to pull Dante up. He then drags him up and knees him in the ribs once and then again and again. He then goes to whip him across, but Dante grabs the left arm and pulls Xander into a rolling armbar. Xander yells out as Dante holds on. He hyperextends the arm. Xander moves his legs to the ropes and manages to just hook them.

Dante lets go. Xander rolls over and holds his left arm. He then gets up and Dante tries to grab at the arm of Xander. He keeps trying and then forearms Xander in the jaw once and then again before going for the arm again. He wrenches it and then goes to pull Xander in, but Xander shoulders Dante in the jaw. Dante falls back into the ropes and bounces back into Xander who hoists him up onto his shoulders and with one arm, he steadies him enough to drop him for the Valhalla has Fallen!

 

Sharper: “Oh! Xander fighting through and just bull-rushing Dante and with one arm…Valhalla has Fallen!”

 

Knots: “Stright onto his head!”

 

Xander turns and hooks the leg.

The bell sounds. The crowd roars. Xander rolls off. He then looks at his left arm and starts to get up.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Xander Valentine!”

 

Sharper: “And Xander Valentine defeats Dante Slayton. Valhalla has Fallen takes another victim and he hopes James Evans will fall to it at Rebirth.”

 

Knots: “That depends. What condition is his arm in? Did Dante Slayton just help The Fall of Man?”

 

Xander turns and demands his World Championship. He’s handed it by Jason Phillips. Xander takes it and looks around as he turns and looks at the crowd.

 

Sharper: “Xander Valentine, World Champion. Will face James Evans at Rebirth. And Jaina Lancaster is going to get into the ring and hope to get a word from the World Champion.”

 

Jaina Lancaster is shown getting into the ring. She walks over to Xander, checking her earpiece, as she brings her microphone up to her mouth. Xander turns as Dante slowly rolls to the floor.

 

Jaina: “Thank you Adam…Xander…congratulations on a hard fought win…”

 

The crowd cheers as Xander looks around.

 

Jaina: “Anything you want to say about Dante?”

 

Xander: “A worthy challenge, but nonetheless, unable to defeat me!”

 

Jaina: “What about your arm? Do you have any concerns-“

 

Xander: “It will not slow me down. I have spent the last twenty years suffering various bumps, bruises, and chronic conditions. James Evans knows his only hope is to take me down beforehand. Unlike Waylon Creek who at least took me on face to face, we know the cowardice that defines James Evans. He ran before and I question whether he will remain when he cannot outduel me at Rebirth. Will Giovanni then be next? When is inevitability just a convenient marketing slogan with no value in reality?”

 

Xander looks around.

 

Xander: “Nonetheless, at least this challenge has some value. It will remove doubt that James Evans will always be beneath me. He can try to bloody me. He can jump me from behind. He may have a personal connection, but that distraction will not be one of much use. Artemis is safely at home and in a place even you could not use to your advantage. Your only advantage is numbers. And your greatest threat is off to the side.”

 

Xander looks right at the camera.

 

Xander: “James…You will fall at Rebirth. And then you need to take a long look in the mirror. And William Heaven…you’ll need to realize this plan of yours, the only thing that was inevitable was it was doomed to fail!”

 

Jaina: “Thank you Xander. Good luck at Rebirth. Xander Valentine, everyone!”

 

“Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale plays. Xander looks around and then turns as we see Dante Slayton at ringside. Slayton looks at Xander as Xander glances briefly at his arm and then back at him. Dante just heads to the back. The scene cutting away.

 

The scene opens up backstage as we see Clyde Sutter standing in front of the camera. Melinda Braddock stands behind him and to the side, holding the SCW Television Championship.

 

Sutter: “Fate spoke…and here I am. You thought that ladder match would stop me?”

 

Sutter smirks.

 

Sutter: “Brock couldn’t. Ryan LeCavalier is not even here this week. And tonight, I have Chris Lawler. I regret to inform you Chris, that fate will not look kindly on you. I know you’re looking to break out. It will not happen tonight. You will not be returning to Tennessee a champion. You will be taking a loss. Fate abides!”

 

Melinda Braddock smiles as the scene slowly fades to black.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as Dexter Grant stands in the SCW interview area with Destiny Page. Grant holds the SCW Adrenaline Championship over his shoulder while Wendell stands behind him.

 

Page: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Destiny Page here with Dexter Grant, the SCW Adrenaline Champion and we can announce your next challenger will be the highly-touted prospect out of the European Fiery Nation, Kemal Yilmaz. Grant, how do you feel about this? I’m sure you’re thrilled the hype just started now.”

 

Grant: “Why not just show up to the arena? Why not just go out there and compete? I already know how this is going to go. SCW’s social media is going to hype the chance for this young upstart from Turkey to defeat me. Probably hoping their international fans will be over the moon. They should just be happy to watch top talent.”

 

He sighs.

 

Grant: “We’ve learned nothing. I thought Glory had proven herself, but she’s fallen back to her old tricks. Already, seeing Syren/Braddock/Frost plastered everywhere. Even someone like Frost or Syren, with their public profile, it just leads to people taking advantage of them and their families. Just…it’s sickening.”

 

Grant pauses.

 

Grant: “If we just focused on the ring…just focused on the moment. Kemal, just do things right – SCW will want you to milk this. Don’t buy into it. You’re not from the United States. Maybe you’ve not been tainted by the excessive capitalism and desire to be an influencer. Instead, start your career the right way…show up and fight. I’ll be there…on my terms.”

 

Hollywood then comes into the view, Ryan holding his phone.

 

Chris: “Okay! We have an idea and-“

 

Grant: “These imbeciles. Destiny…if you know what’s best…ignore them.”

 

Grant turns and walks off with Wendell. Chris looks at Grant as Ryan looks at him.

 

Ryan: “Probably sad he doesn’t have the Insta follows we have! Huh!”

 

Page: “Guys…leave me alone.”

 

Page heads off. Ryan and Chris look at one another again.

 

Chris: “You don’t think…”

 

Ryan quickly looks at his phone. He scans it a bit.

 

Ryan: “She still has her insta…”

 

Chris: “I think we may need to save her…from that…”

 

Ryan: “We must! If she follows him, she’ll have NO hope in Hollywood!”

 

The scene cuts away.

 

Enigma, The Monster Machine vs. Chase Upshaw

 

Phillips: “The following match is scheduled for one fall…”

“United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama,
Haiti, Jamaica, Peru,
Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean,
Greenland, El Salvador, too.”

Nations of the World by Rob Paulson plays. Chase Upshaw makes his way onto the stage shouting and cursing as loud as he can. The camera and microphones catch some of the curse words, causing the networks to bleep him out.

“Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela,
Honduras, Guyana, and still,
Guatemala, Bolivia, then Argentina,
And Ecuador, Chile, Brazil.”

Chase starts to march his way down to the ring, flipping off a few fans along the way and mocking their complete and total lack of Geography knowledge.

Phillips: “Introducing first, from Durham, North Carolina, weighing in—”

"Scum Of The Earth" by Rob Zombie hits the PA system. Chase Upshaw looks back to see a muscle-bond man, donning red and white face paint. Chase didn’t seem to take lightly to this man’s interruption and started back up the ramp.

Knots: “What is Chase Upshaw think he is doing? That man looks dangerous!”

Sharper: “That’s Enigma, the Monster Machine!”

Knots: “Is he related to the Enigma? Are they cousins?”

Sharper: “He’s scheduled to be Chase’s opponent, but I don’t think he wants to hear any more countries being named.”

Chase jabs his finger into the chest of Enigma as the man stares past him. A sick smile appears on his face before Enigma clubs Chase with a heavy right. The punch almost floors Chase. Self-preservation kicks in as Chase starts to run down the ramp as Enigma marches down after him.

Knots: “The hunt is on! Chase knows he is in trouble!”

Sharper: “Where is he going?”

Knots: “I don’t know! Wherever he can hide from this freak!”

Chase slides underneath the bottom rope and goes hiding behind the referee. Enigma stomps up the metal steps and walks along the apron. He pauses to look out at the crowd before ducking into the ring. The referee is at first confused what course to take, but seeing how both competitors are in the ring, he quickly calls for the bell. The referee jumps out of the way, leaving Chase ducking with his arms over his head, as if he is expecting an artillery shell to hit.

Sharper: “The gig’s up, Chase! Enigma knows where to point on the canvas to find the capital of you!”

Knots: “Very funny, Adam. Chase’s about to be murdered. He’s basically the PBS of professional wrestling! Think of the children!”

Enigma reaches down and clamps his hands down onto Chase’s shoulders. Chase shoots up, yelling in pain as Enigma nods. Chase kicks Enigma’s shin. He does it again— and again! That was super ineffective. Chase reaches up to gouge the eyes. The referee warns Chase about the blatant breaking of the rules. He shrugs as he turns to bail from the ring, but Enigma yanks him from behind. His hands catch Chase’s throat and Enigma then tosses him the full length of the ring!

Sharper: “Choke toss by SCW’s newest signing! Look at that strength!”

Knots: “Chase needs to run away. All he has done is make this Monster Machine angrier!”

Sharper: “The wind has been knocked out of Chase. He’s dazed.”

Chase sits up and looks around, shell-shocked. He finds his feet, but Enigma slams into him from behind with a shoulder block before he can react, launching Chase into the turnbuckle. Chase spins around, and he runs towards Enigma with ease. Enigma tosses him into the air for a Samoan drop. Enigma dusts off his hands while Chase withers in pain on the canvas.

Knots: “Does Chase know the capital of Samoa?”

Sharper: “I thought you were concerned about his well-being?”

Knots: “I am! But I am curious what it was.”

Sharper: “This Enigma character is going to give the Enigma a run for his money at being equally scary.”

Enigma backpedals into the corner and crouches, watching as Chase Upshaw slowly finds his feet. Enigma presses Chase. Chase yells in desperation towards Enigma. Enigma raises his leg for a big boot, but Chase ducks underneath it. Enigma spins around, and there’s the South African Superkick! Upshaw throws himself into Enigma with a European Uppercut. Then another. And another. Upshaw steps for to applaud himself for his offensive but turns around, walking into an explosive spinning back fist from Enigma!

Knots: “Ouch.”

Sharper: “Upshaw celebrated too early. Enigma destroyed him with that spinning back fist.”

Knots: “I think Chase is counting stars right now.”

Sharper: “Enigma hasn’t even entertained the idea of pin attempt, despite dominating in this contest. He is sending a message to the roster that he has arrived, and they should take note!”

Upshaw is on his hands and knees. Enigma backpedals into the ropes before charging forward, a soccer kick is delivered right to the head. The crowd falls silent. Enigma drops down and begins to clobber Upshaw with overhead hammer fists. The referee counts towards five before intervening, warning Enigma about disqualification.

Sharper: ‘Christ! Referee stop the match!”

Knots: “This has turned from awe-inspiring to uncomfortable real quick!”

Sharper: “Enigma’s trying to injure Chase Upshaw here!”

Upshaw rolls over onto his back and stares up at the ceiling, ailing. Enigma pushes past the referee and thrusts his hands down. Effortlessly he lifts Upshaw up into the air and begins to choke Chase. The referee counts again, warning Enigma to stop. Questions & Answers! In the center of the ring. Enigma presses his hands onto the chest and looks up at the camera.

Sharper: “Finally, the end!”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, Enigma, the Monster-Machine!”


Sharper: “Enigma wins his debut match. Someone get a doctor out here.”

Knots: “What a shot across the bow for the rest of the locker room in his debut match.”

Sharper: “I bet nights like tonight make Chase consider going back to school.”

 

Knots: “If he remembers where it is?!”

 

Enigma, the Monster-Machine looks out to the crowd as the crowd roars.

 

Sharper: “As we look at this impressive debut, we mentioned Colleen MacDonald and Kimberly Williams both were contacted for their thoughts for their huge match at Rebirth. Here’s what Kim had to say.”

 

We open up with a shot of a darkened room, possibly a warehouse. A chainlink fence is in front of us. Just then, we see something thrown into the chainlink fence, causing sparks to fly off the fence.

 

Kim: “Again! Again!”

 

Kim laughs as the camera pans over to show Kim, smiling, wearing safety goggles and wearing a lab coat.

 

Kim: “Just doing some experiments here in Kimmylabs and we’re seeing how many sparks I can make. Soon, we’ll see how big I can make the explosions!”

 

Kim puts down a piece of metal.

 

Kim: “You hate me, Colleen. I know it. Then again, I don’t like you either since you decided to get my attention by taking something I actually value. And you hold something else I value more. Sure, I want to hold that title more than anyone, but I also want to maim you and I hope all my Kimmymaniacs agree! We can maim Colleen MacDonald and see how big a boom her fat ass gets!”

 

Kim laughs.

 

Kim: “See, I just want the chaos of the division back. You’re boring. And I don’t like boring. I like chaos. I like random. I like BOOM! And I want to bring it back. You can say I don’t deserve it, but the fact is that that title is synonymous with ME. And Rachel Foxx….for now....soon only me. And soon after I am over your maimed body, standing in the middle…of our structure. We…The People...’s Bunkhouse Stampede Match…Let your voices be heard Kimmymaniacs. Don’t worry though…the blood will be on MY hands!”

 

Kim then grabs the metal she hand and throws it offscreen. An explosion is seen, almost comical, as we see boards and metal, and even a stuffed unicorn, fly across the screen. Kim smiles as the scene fades out.

SCW Television Championship

 

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the SCW Television Championship!  Introducing first, the challenger, CHRIS LAWLER!

 

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

 

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

 

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits.

 

As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

 

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. Tonight, he will leave everything in the ring, his spirit unbroken, his resolve unyielding, as he prepares to face whatever challenges come his way.

 

Sharper: “Chris Lawler is hoping tonight could be a turning point. He’s been getting some wins. But he’s hoping he can finally earn some gold since he returned.”

 

Knots: “Did you hear him earlier, though? Sutter, I mean? Fates not on his side and fate doesn’t care about making someone feel better.”

 

Phillips: And his opponent…being accompanied to the ring by Melinda Braddock…he is the reigning and defending SCW Television Champion, “The Assassin” CLYDE SUTTER!

 

The lights in the arena go out as the opening chords of “Unforgiven” by Metallica begins to play.  As the song picks up its pace a spotlight shines at the top of the ramp and we see “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter standing there with a sinister grin on his face.  He is joined by the beautiful Melinda Braddock. After a few moments of soaking in the crowd reaction, which he seems to enjoy despite their booing, Sutter and Melinda begin to make their slow walk down the ramp. The spotlight follows the sinister sociopath as he approaches the ring. They reach the ring area and Melinda kisses him on his cheek. Sutter then foregoes the steel steps as he leaps up from the floor to the ring apron.  With the spotlight remaining only on Sutter as one of the few lights in the arena at the moment, Sutter enters the ring and then stand in the center. The sound of Metallica dies down and the lights come back on.

 

Sharper: “Defeating Adam Brock and Ryan LeCavalier last week in a huge ladder match. But the question may be, not his confidence, but is he in as good condition as he’s trying to show. Does he have some bumps, bruises, some weaknesses.”

 

Knots: “Let fate take care of that too Sharper. If fate abides, it won’t matter”

 

Right as the bell rings, Melinda Braddock hops up onto the apron, distracting Lawler enough to allow Sutter to clock him with a big boot.  Sutter brutally and ruthlessly stomps away at Lawler’s fallen form before picking him, whipping him into the ropes, and delivering a tilt-a-whirl into a side slam.  Sutter applies a blatant choke, prompting the official to begin a count…

Sutter breaks before the count of five.  Sutter slaps a fujiwara arm bar on Lawler.  Lawler fights towards the bottom rope, reaching it and forcing a break.  Sutter pulls him back to his feet and whips him into the ropes.  Lawler comes back with a clothesline that knocks Sutter off his feet.  Sutter pops back up quickly but Lawler lands a dropkick that staggers him against the ropes.  Lawler charges in and hits another clothesline that sends The Assassin up and over the top and to the outside.

 

Sharper: “Big clothesline. The champion, up and over!”

 

Knots: “Good on him…and what the hell is Lawler doing!”

 

Lawler climbs to the top turnbuckle and stands perched.  Melinda tries to warn Clyde but she’s too late…Sutter turns around into a crossbody off the top to Sutter, wiping him out!  Lawler pulls Sutter up and whips him viciously into the steel steps.  Lawler with a vertical suplex to Sutter on the outside. Lawler with another vertical suplex on the outside.  Chris Lawler rolls into the ring to break the referee’s count and then goes back outside.  He pulls Sutter back to his feet but The Assassin immediately connects with a right hand.  Lawler responds with a right of his own.  They trade right hands on the outside until Sutter lands a knee to the gut, doubling the challenger over.  Sutter hoists Lawler up…BUCKLE BOMB TO THE STEEL POST!

 

Sharper: “Oh God! And that could be it. That could be it. Sutter powerbombing Lawler into the ringpost.”

 

Knots: “Maybe it for his career too. I don’t think humans are supposed to bend that way!”

 

The Assassin pulls him back up and rolls him into the ring.  Sutter returns to the ring and instantly goes for the cover…

Sutter turns Lawler over into a Boston Crab.

 

Sharper: “And right to the back. Adding to injury.”

 

Knots: “Lawler…just give up. This aint worth it. At least now you can still pick up your kids!”

 

Lawler refuses to quit.  Sutter keeps the hold cinched in tight.  Lawler fights towards the bottom rope and eventually reaches it, forcing the break, but Sutter won’t let go.  The official warns him but he won’t release the hold…

Sutter breaks the hold.  Sutter pulls Lawler back to his feet and then drops him with a fallaway slam.  Sutter pulls him back to his feet, hoists him up for a suplex…lets him hang in the air for what seems like an eternity before dropping him on the mat.  Sutter goes into the cover…

Sutter pulls him back to his feet.  He hooks him for a power bomb.  He connects!  He hangs on and goes for another…attempting his finish, Judge Jury and Execution…but Lawler counters the second power bomb into a ddt!

 

Sharper: “And DDT! Big counter. He needed that!”

 

Knots: “Needed that sure, but Sutter has done a lot of damage.”

 

Lawler rolls over to the ropes and uses them to pull himself back up.  Sutter is up and rushes in but Lawler catches him with an enziguri.  Lawler then snaps off a release German suplex.  Lawler then grabs hold of the ankle and cinches in The Lockdown Hold.

 

Sharper: “Ankle lock…the Lockdown!”

 

Knots: “Sutter better think quick. This may be the one way Lawler can get back and do some damage. If Sutter can’t walk, he can’t throw you around!”

 

This time it’s Sutter who is in agony, who needs to reach the bottom rope.  He fights and claws to the bottom rope.  He is nearly there but Lawler drags him back out to the center!  Sutter still won’t quit.  He keeps fighting, getting closer and close…finally Sutter reaches the ropes to force the break.  Clyde crawls towards the corner and uses the ropes to pull himself up.  Lawler rushes in with a huge Blitz Kick to the face!  Sutter staggers out of the corner and Lawler snaps off a belly to belly overhead suplex.  Lawler into the cover…

Lawler pulls Sutter back to his feet and goes for a power bomb but Sutter back drops out of it.  The Assassin wraps his hand around his throat to go for a choke slam but Lawler uses elbows to the head to break the grip.  Lawler with a waist lock…bridging German suplex…

Lawler goes back to the ankle lock.  Sensing that her man is in real danger, Melinda hops up onto the ring apron.  Lawler breaks the hold and approaches Melinda, and immediately she drops off the apron.  Meanwhile Sutter is pulling himself back to his feet.  Lawler doesn’t realize it.  He turns around into a brutal clothesline from hell that turns him inside out!

 

Sharper: “Oh! Sutter with the clothesline.”

 

Knots: “Good night!”

 

The Assassin goes back to the submissions, this time choosing to apply a crippler crossface.  Lawler struggles in the hold but won’t give in.  He tries to get to the ropes but can’t quite reach.  Sutter drags him back out to the center and cinches it in even tighter.  In a last ditch effort Lawler uses his remaining strength to turn himself and Sutter over, landing himself on top of Sutter with the hold still applied and Clyde’s shoulders on the mat…

Sutter drills Lawler with another big boot.  Sutter hoists him up for a crucifix bomb but Lawler slips out of it and then locks in a sleeper hold!  Clyde struggles and flails as he starts to fade away!  The champion drops to a knee.  Lawler puts all of his body weight onto Sutter’s back.  The official checks on Sutter.  His arm drops once…it drops twice…but it DOES NOT drop for a third time!  Sutter fights his way back to his feet.  Lawler switches and lands a belly to back suplex to the champion.  Lawler hoists Sutter back up…FURY SUPLEX!  Lawler into the cover…

Sharper: “Only two! Lawler managed to muscle Sutter up! But only two!”

 

Knots: “He’s not going to let him get him. He can’t let him get him

 

Lawler wastes no time.  He goes up to the top.  He leaps off going for Air Assault…but Sutter rolls out of the way at the last second and Lawler hits nothing but canvas!  Sutter pulls himself back up and measures the challenger.  Lawler struggles to get back to his feet…SUTTER WITH UNFORGIVEN, the claymore kick…but unfortunately it sends Lawler tumbling to the outside.  Clyde doesn’t seem too bothered by this.  He smirks as he slowly makes his way outside.  He shouts at Lawler to get back to his feet, shouting that his fate is sealed.  Lawler uses the barricade to pull himself up…SUTTER SPEARS HIM THROUGH THE BARRICADE!

 

Sharper: “Oh God! Through the barricade! Sutter breaking Lawler in half”

 

Knots: “Jesus!”

 

Sutter is the first to pull himself out of the wreckage.  He staggers back towards the ring and enters.  He is content to take the count out win.  The referee begins the count on Lawler…

Lawler slides back into the ring underneath the bottom rope.  Sutter goes for Unforgiven once more but Lawler ducks out of the way!  Sutter scrambles back to his feet.  Another Blitz Kick in the corner!  Lawler with a belly to belly suplex!  He quickly gets back to his feet and heads up to the top turnbuckle…AIR ASSAULT!  This time he hits it!  Lawler into the cover…

Chris Lawler pulls himself back up and gets ready, measuring Sutter for a knee strike…the Final Judgment perhaps?  Melinda Braddock senses trouble and pulls on Lawler’s leg, again distracting him.  Lawler and the official start arguing with Melinda, who feigns innocence.  Meanwhile Sutter sneaks up behind Lawler and latches in the bar arm sleeper he calls JUDGMENT DAY!

 

Sharper: “Judgment Day! And Lawler may only have seconds. This could be it.”

 

Knots: “Lawler, back to the drawing board!”

 

The Assassin squeezes Lawler’s head and arm as hard as he can.  Lawler starts coughing up blood and he starts to fade away.  In an act of desperation Lawler gets a mule kick below Sutter’s belt that forces the break…but the referee, who was still busy with Melinda…didn’t see it!  Lawler composes himself, as does Sutter.  Lawler then takes Sutter and drops him with The Impact Driver!  He covers…

Phillips: Here is your winner, and NEW SCW Television Champion, CHRIS LAWLER!

 

The crowd roars as Lawler looks around. Melinda Braddock looks stunned as Lawler is handed the SCW Television Championship.

 

Sharper: “Lawler did it! He did it!”

 

Knots: “He got the low blow-“

 

Sharper: “Ref didn’t see it. Fate I guess was on Lawler’s side!”

 

Knots: “But Sutter had plans! He had plans!”

 

Sharper: “Look at the relief on Lawler’s face!”

 

Lawler looks at the TV Championship and embraces it. He then gets up and holds it over his head. Melinda enters the ring, checking on Sutter, glaring at Lawler as Lawler celebrate. He hugs the title again.

 

Sharper: “What a moment here on Breakdown. Lawler holding gold again!”

 

The scene slowly fades to black.

Amelia Nevado vs. Kirsten Scott

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall!”

“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Nevado makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. After a moment of this, La Pequeña Luz skips out from behind Amelia and stands beside her, giving her a pep talk before planting a quick kiss on her cheek which brings a smile to Amelia’s face. The two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia’s look growing more determined and battle-ready as Luz continues her pep talk.

Phillips: “Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by La Pequeña Luz, from Oxford, England… Amelia Nevado!”

Once they reach ringside, Amelia pulls Luz into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and mask and handing them off to Luz on the outside, Luz taking the opportunity to give some last minute advice and encouragement.

Sharper: “There have been a lot of questions surrounding these two lately, from when they might take their rematch for the World Tag Team Titles to Luz’s concern over what’s going on with the interim U.S. Championship.”

Knots: “It almost feels like Amelia’s getting lost in the shuffle if Luz is looking to try and take Jordan’s title from her.”

Sharper: “We still have no official ruling regarding Jordan Majors holding a championship that, as of right now, still rightfully belongs to Asher Hayes, but I doubt Amelia is going to just sit back and not try to forge a singles opportunity of her own in the meantime. Don’t forget: she does still have a Trios contract to her name that she can still use for any match she wants.”

The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz wondering who is coming out. As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey.  The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey. Kirsten and her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle.

Phillips: “Her opponent, being accompanied by Hailey and The Oracle, hailing from ‘Your Worst Personal Nightmare,’ she is The One… Kirsten Scott!”

As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up.  Hailey goes into the ring, directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle rope, and The Oracle stands on the floor directly beneath Kirsten.  Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, while Hailey and The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's direction as well, all signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The One."

After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out in a "DELETE" motion, before quickly sliding into the open ropes from being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her corner. Hailey quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the outside.  Both of "The One's" compatriots stand with her, advising her and talking to her, as she awaits the bell ringing to start her match. After a moment, Hailey and The Oracle step out of the ring, as does Luz.

Sharper: “On the subject of unknowns, Kirsten Scott is still trying to deal with The Enigma and whatever cryptic new approach he seems to be taking right now to get into her head.”

Knots: “She picked a fight with him just to prove she could succeed where Deanna Frost failed in getting rid of him, and so far all it’s resulted in is Jake Starr being taken out. To that, I say thank you to The Enigma!”

Sharper: “Kirsten claims she isn’t bothered by the mind games and just wants one more crack at The Enigma, especially since CHBK feels she needs to honor the claims she made before she gets the opportunities she wants.”

Knots: “Well, she better have her head in the game tonight, because she’s facing someone who could easily twist her into a pretzel if she takes her eye off the ball for even a second.”

Referee Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell and both women slowly circle one another, eyes locked as they both look for the opening to get that first advantage. Amelia moves in to lock up and Kirsten responds by throwing a right hand, but Amelia ends up feinting and Kirsten’s shot misses, giving Amelia the opening to shoot in and take Kirsten to the mat with a single leg takedown. Kirsten throws more right hands, nailing Amelia to try and create some space, but Amelia manages to dodge one and grab Kirsten’s wrist before applying a kneeling armbar, driving her knee into the ball of Kirsten’s shoulder. Referee Jennifer Cassidy checks in with Kirsten, but she refuses to submit as she kicks her legs, trying to loosen Amelia’s grip. Amelia, however, starts employing some joint manipulation, bending Kirsten’s wrist back in an awkward angle as she keeps the armbar applied. Amelia slowly forces Kirsten’s arm down beside her head before seamlessly transitioning into an anaconda vise.

Sharper: “Amelia Nevado showing off that fluid technical ability that has made her so dangerous.”

Knots: “We’ve talked about how well it meshes with Luz’s lucha libre so many times that it’s easy to forget that, on her own, she could potentially be up there with some of the best grapplers in SCW history.”

Referee Jennifer Cassidy checks with Kirsten again, but she refuses to submit to the anaconda vise, stomping her feet into the mat as she tries to worm her way closer to the ropes. She finally gets close enough to reach out and grab the bottom rope, and Amelia immediately releases the submission and backs off, allowing Kirsten to pull herself to her feet. She tries to shake some feeling back into her arm, glaring at Amelia who just watches her. They close the distance and Amelia goes to lock up again, but Kirsten kicks her in the gut to stun her. She pushes Amelia back upright before using the arm that wasn’t targeted to connect with a stiff knife edge chop that sends Amelia staggering into the corner, gritting her teeth. She turns and Kirsten charges in, sandwiching her with a clothesline in the corner, again using her other arm. Kirsten then starts throwing more kicks at Amelia, using the top rope to support herself and transitioning into stomps as Amelia slumps into the corner until Referee Jennifer Cassidy warns Kirsten to back off and starts counting, with Kirsten backing off once the count hits four.

Knots: “If you can’t outwrestle her, then just kick the crap out of her!”

Sharper: “Scott realizing pretty quickly that she probably won’t win a grappling contest with Amelia Nevado, but she might be able to outbrawl her!”

Luz walks over to where Amelia’s slumped over, encouraging her wife as Kirsten moves in, pointing at Luz who holds up her hands and steps back. Kirsten pulls Amelia to her feet and irish whips her across the ring into the opposite corner, where she hits the turnbuckles hard enough to stumble right back out into a yakuza kick from Kirsten! She goes for the cover, starting to hook the leg before abandoning that as pain shoots through her arm.

Amelia kicks out! Kirsten doesn’t let this bother her as she pulls Amelia up and hooks an arm before delivering a barrage of hammer and anvil elbows with her good arm, laying into Amelia’s jawline and collarbone as Referee Jennifer Cassidy checks to make sure Amelia isn’t falling unconscious. Amelia, however, manages to catch one of these elbow strikes with her free arm and uses it to take Kirsten over in a snapmare before rolling into a grounded abdominal stretch! The referee checks with Kirsten again, but she’s very vocal in her refusal to submit as she tries to scoot over to the ropes. As soon as she gets her foot on the bottom rope, Amelia releases the hold and backs off again, with Kirsten pulling herself back to her feet and looking irritated.

Sharper: “Kirsten was doing some damage with those elbow strikes, but that’s what makes Amelia such a dangerous grappler. The moment you start to get comfortable, she can catch you and shift all the momentum with a single hold.”

Knots: “Would it kill her to not let go right away, though? She’s got a whole five count to work with!”

Sharper: “You know Amelia isn’t wired that way, Jon. She and Luz are arguably among the most honorable competitors on the entire roster.”

Knots: “Which is exactly why they aren’t champions anymore!”

Amelia motions for Kirsten to bring it on and Kirsten just nods before moving in to grapple her. Amelia tries to do a go-behind, but Kirsten turns with her and cracks her across the jaw with a forearm! Amelia stumbles back to the ropes as Kirsten pauses to shake her arm out, instinctively using the one Amelia targeted at the start of this match, and this gives Amelia the opening to fire back with a european uppercut! The fans are cheering as Amelia connects with a second european uppercut, followed by a third, pushing Kirsten back to the opposite ropes. She irish whips her and Kirsten rebounds, leading to Amelia trying to send Kirsten into a pop-up european uppercut only for Kirsten to counter with a dropkick! Some of the cheers die off from the fans as Kirsten moves to grab Amelia when she tries to rise, taking her over with a suplex! She pops her hips and pulls them both back to their feet before delivering a second suplex, though this one looked a bit shakier. Undeterred, Kirsten pops her hips again before going for the falcon arrow to finish the One by One, but Amelia manages to block it by grabbing her arm and briefly applying a kimura! Kirsten tries to push her off, but Amelia stuns her with another european uppercut before trapping the arm and twisting into the Cutting Ties! Amelia goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

Kirsten Scott kicks out! Hailey and The Oracle look relieved out on the floor as Luz pounds on the apron to keep motivating Amelia, the fans clapping along.

Sharper: “Cutting Ties only gets two for Amelia Nevado!”

Knots: “And that arm’s starting to become a problem for Scott. You saw the struggle to finish the One by One, and the Cutting Ties probably doesn’t help any!”

Kirsten tries to pull herself back to her feet, but Amelia moves in to hook the arms before taking her over with a double underhook suplex, rolling through with it to end up near Kirsten’s legs. She grabs them and starts trying to turn her over, but whatever she has in mind is blocked as Kirsten throws a kick up and catches Amelia in the face! A second kick to the face also connects, forcing Amelia to let go and back off. Kirsten pulls herself back to her feet once more, but Amelia grabs her from behind and tries to lift her for a german suplex, but Kirsten blocks it before throwing her good arm back, catching Amelia in the side of the jaw with an elbow to loosen her grip. Kirsten spins around and hooks Amelia, roaring through the pain as she connects with a falcon arrow and belatedly finishes the One by One! The fans give a mixed reaction as Kirsten pulls herself to her feet, glaring at Amelia as she shakes some feeling back into her arm. Amelia slowly sits up as Kirsten positions herself behind her, motioning for the Hidden Blade before wincing when her arm starts bothering her again. She still rushes forward, calling an audible as she delivers a nasty knee to the back of Amelia’s head instead! She rolls Amelia over and goes for the cover, making sure she can hook the leg with her good arm.

Amelia Nevado gets a shoulder up! Kirsten looks up at Referee Jennifer Cassidy in disbelief.

Sharper: “That wicked knee strike only gets two for The One!”

Knots: “With the damage done to that arm, that might’ve been her best shot!”

Kirsten rises to her feet, smacking her shoulder and working to shake the pain out of her bad arm as Hailey and The Oracle encourage her from the outside. Amelia slowly starts to stir as Kirsten measures her, perhaps with something in mind to end this, when suddenly, the lights go out, plunging the arena into complete darkness!

Knots: “What the hell? Who turned out the lights!? Aren’t The Light In The Darkness supposed to prevent this?”

The fans are buzzing, phone screens lighting up in the crowd to try and see what’s going on, as the arena remains pitch black for a few moments longer before the lights all come back on. Kirsten Scott is looking around, having a pretty good idea who might’ve turned out the lights as she angrily shouts for The Enigma to “show his ugly face” before she looks down at the mat, noticing that she, in a sense, got her wish. Laying at her feet, right in the middle of the ring, is the mask of The Enigma.

Knots: “Did that freak just gift The One his mask?”

Sharper: “We know The Enigma, or should we say Veil, loves to play games and he seems determined to make Kirsten Scott pay for daring to call him out earlier this year.”

Kirsten just glares down at the mask, looking over to Hailey and The Oracle before turning her attention over to Luz on the other side of the ring, who’s also looking around and doesn’t look to be a fan of what happened. Kirsten just spits down on the mask before kicking it out of the ring, looking very annoyed at the interruption, before turning her focus back to Amelia, who is pulling herself to her feet with help from the ropes. Kirsten manages to get underneath her, lifting Amelia up onto her shoulders for the Downward Spiral, but the delay from the lights going out seems to have helped Amelia as she grabs Kirsten’s arm and wrenches it before she can get the grip she needs, allowing Amelia to hop off and land behind her before pulling her back with that arm into the Blight Choke! Kirsten tries to fight, but Amelia throws them both to the mat and gets the submission fully locked in, leaving Kirsten trapped in the center of the ring! Referee Jennifer Cassidy checks in, Kirsten screaming in agony as she tries to reach out with her bad arm, the arm Amelia intentionally didn’t trap, but she’s nowhere close to the ropes. As her arm falls, Amelia briefly releases the bodyscissors only to reapply a modified version of it, her shin and calf trapping Kirsten’s forearm and adding a modified bicep slicer submission on top of the Blight Choke! Referee Jennifer Cassidy checks in with Kirsten again, and she begrudgingly submits! The bell rings and “Victorious” by Skillet hits the speakers again as Amelia releases the submissions and rolls Kirsten off of her towards Hailey and The Oracle.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, by submission… Amelia Nevado!”

Sharper: “Amelia Nevado picking up a big win here tonight and reminding the locker room that she’s every bit as capable in singles action as Luz is!”

Knots: “You’ve got to wonder how she feels about The Enigma throwing Scott off, though. I think we know The One is going to be furious!”

Hailey and The Oracle pull Kirsten out of the ring and help her head towards the back, The One cradling her damaged arm as Referee Jennifer Cassidy raises Amelia’s arm in victory, with Luz sliding into the ring and raising her other arm. Luz starts saying something to Amelia as she and Kirsten briefly lock eyes, and Amelia goes from looking happy to annoyed as Luz likely fills her in on what happened. Amelia and Kirsten do exchange nods, though, as Kirsten continues heading up the ramp while Amelia takes a deep breath and tries to take her win in stride regardless, which Luz’s infectious energy seems to help a bit with.

 

The scene cuts backstage as we see Xander Valentine throwing James Evans into a wall.  Xander turns around as he then sees Giovanni Aries running over with a steel chair. Xander grabs him by the throat. He then steps up and hoists him up, holding him into the air and we then see James Evans running over and kicking Xander’s leg out from under him. Xander goes down as Aries lands on his feet cackling.

 

Aries: “They always focus on the immediate threat. Have to look strong, right Xander…well, the Kingdom won’t help you here!”

 

Xander starts to slowly gets up as Aries stomps him in the head and James stomps him too. Xander rolls over.

 

Sharper: “Another attack backstage. Evans working with Aries!”

 

Knots: “Evans just wants that title at all costs!”

 

Sharper: “No, Heaven does! And Aries is happy to go after a champion to bring them down to size!”

 

Aries stomps him a couple of times over before Aries grabs him, but Xander shoves him off and then Evans comes back into view, holding a pipe and he nails Xander in the ribs. Xander rolls over, grimacing in pain.

 

Xander: “Can’t just fight me? Can’t just-“

 

Evans turns back and motions to Aries.

 

Evans: “You assume we’re having a fight. I’m getting my redemption! At ANY cost!”

 

Evans then walks over and grabs the left arm of Xander as Aries makes sure Xander’s on his stomach. Evans then takes the pipe and pulls it against the arm of Xander, pulling back, causing Xander’s arm to bend back. He starts to grimace. Officials finally reach the scene and they tell Evans to stop, but Evans just smirks. Evans then snaps his body back, snapping back Xander’s arm awkwardly. The crowd ohs as Xander yells in pain. Xander clutches his left arm in pain. James Evans then backs up and looks at Xander, clearly in pain. Giovanni Aries kneels next to him.

 

Aries: “Release yourself from its grasp…”

 

Evans: “Thanks Dante…you made this easier.”

 

Evans looks up at the camera before turning to Xander as officials checks on him.

 

Xander: “I will destroy you-“

 

Evans: “We’ll see about that.”

 

Sharper: “Xander’s arm…Evans has just hyperextended the arm.”

 

Knots: “There’s no chance Xander will be 100% at Rebirth. Still don’t think it won’t be inevitable?”

 

Evans walks off with Aries cackling as Xander writhes in pain, officials trying to get him to stay down so they can check on him as the scene fades to black…
