“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”
A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.
“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”
MAIN SHOW:

Maybe
I'm just paranoid
Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie
Can't stop this screamin' voice
Or maybe I'm just sick inside
Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing Rated X posing as SCW World Tag Team Champions. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see David Striker diving over the top rope and Josh Hudson standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chance Owens, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo.
This is
the face
I hate the other side of me
Out of this cage
He breaks to take the life from me
Tell me, tell me, tell me
I'm not crazy
Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing the Shinigami Foundation standing in the ring talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.
There's

I'm closer to the edge
Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery
Insane
These voices in my brain
Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me
Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor Lariat on an opponent is next, before we see Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO making her entrance. Amy Chastaine posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.
There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head
Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Waylon Creek, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.
We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.
Sharper: “It is the final night before we head to Germany for a Dogfight. And folks, it’s going to be a big night!”
The cameras continue to pan the crowd before we cut to ringside and the announce position where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit.
Sharper: “Welcome to Breakdown. Welcome to ringside. I’m Adam Sharper, alongside Jonathan Knots. We’re here to call the action and we’re going to see some action tonight.”
Knots: “And a big match tonight. Amelia Nevado has to do the impossible. Can she beat Waylon Creek? If she can’t, Fall of Man has the advantage in Tactical Warfare. Big stakes.”
Sharper: “Not just that. Could Ace Marshall earn an Adrenaline Championship shot? If he beats Glory Braddock tonight, that’ll happen and he’ll join Dexter Grant as a challenger.”
Knots: “And we’ll see Asher Hayes take on Blake Mason and I’m watching for Selena Frost. Last week, Blake crossed a massive line and Selena Frost is out for blood!”
“I am Damnation” by Bleed from Within plays as the crowd roars and then start to boo. The lights dim as red and white spotlights shine down on the stage. A few moments pass before William Heaven walks out from the back. He glances back as Waylon Creek walks out with him. Heaven takes a steps forward, microphone in his hand. He looks around as the boos intensify. Heaven turns to Creek, as the camera moves closer to them.
Heaven: “You stand there. If they get past them….you have one order, destroy.”
Heaven turns back as Creek turns, folding his arms.
Sharper: “We’re starting with not the Fall of Man, but William Heaven specifically.”
Knots: “Sounds like they’re not taking any chances here. And do you want run into that?!”
Sharper: “Creek standing guard, but did I hear him right – if they get past them.”
Heaven looks at the crowd as the music fades out.
Heaven: “As we come to another Breakdown, it seems it is up to me to remind everyone what is on the horizon. It is the ascendency of the Fall of Man and individuals who will receive the attention they deserve.”
Heaven looks around as the crowd gives a bit of a mixed reaction.
Heaven: “But before I say what I need to say, I know I don’t need to worry about the Light in the Darkness jumping anyone. They’re too honourable for it. And I mean that…honour. They have it. I know they will welcome the challenge that exists tonight, even if it means their destruction. You may be good, but James was better last week, and Waylon will be better tonight.”
Heaven pauses.
Heaven: “He will remain undefeated when taken on one on one tonight!”
The crowd boos a bit as the camera focuses on Waylon.
Heaven: “But while that is the case, in case your partners at Dogfight decide to engage in the street fighting they like to, the Fall of Man is right behind that curtain. And while the Dangerous Minds and the Light in the Darkness disagree on tactics, hardly unified, we are. And perhaps the thugs you’re teamed with Luz, Amelia…they should perhaps listen to you. It may ensure they both can make it come Dogfight in Dusseldorf. They like to run their mouths and claim they operate as the people who treat that ring with respect, and yet they jump people backstage, they act as uncoiled springs, and most of all, they seem not to have much respect for others they care for. I heard some of their commentary in the last week – with friends, or should I say boyfriends like that Aisling, perhaps you should reconsider your future. Dumont seems to think you can’t compete with Waylon. I thought you were an independent woman. Seems you’re too frail to be in this sport. But Waylon and I wish you well in your recovery.”
The crowd boos.
Heaven: “And David, while you are a sparkplug, you too have met your brickwall, but as Giovanni so nicely shared with you, you will be burned by your unwillingness to accept that you don’t control anything. From the Underground Division, to your own fate. The Fall of Man now does.”
Heaven stops for a moment, pacing a bit.
Heaven: “Buit while they will need to learn that lesson in just over a week’s time in Germany, inside Tactical Warfare, I now need to turn my attention to the others – namely the people who deserve more of our attention. The Light in the Darkness and our Chief Operating Officer, CHBK.”
Heaven turns to the camera.
Heaven: “Yes, Alex Desoubrais. He should listen. While I, and the Fall of Man appreciate the opportunity to violently burst onto the scene, the promoter in me is disappointed with the promoter in you. But then again, you seem to wish to pretend to be conservative unless you control things – then you push. Well, again, the Fall of Man is dictating the pace today. And I was thinking…It is inevitable that The Light in the Darkness will need to defend those titles and it should be against the Fall of Man. Sorry to the Shining Maidens, but you are not next.”
Heaven pauses.
Heaven: “And then add the interim US championship. We are getting to sixty days for both titles without being defended. Now I assume the Light in the Darkness are fighting champions, are you not? So let’s resolve this and add another layer to Tactical Warfare.”
Heaven looks around.
Heaven: “We propose that if the Light in the Darkness and Dangerous Minds do the impossible, they can dictate terms. Light in the Darkness can name their next challengers. Their prerogative as victorious champs. And Dangerous Minds can challenge any of us to whatever violent showdown they wish since they want to get their hands on us so badly. But when the Fall of Man wins…we decide how we get our title shots!”
Heaven smiles.
Heaven: “Alex, Amelia, Luz…I trust you to see the value in this wager. You may even have an opportunity to regain some lost glory. Unlikely, but we offer that opportunity. Try and stop us. Because Amelia, as I said last week – we have hurt Luz’s back, we have attacked Chris’s mind, we have burned David’s face…and we will take your heart tonight. We’d hate to remove all hope you have though. That would truly be a shame!”
Heaven turns and pats Creek on the back. He then steps forward as “I am Damnation” plays again.
Knots: “You know, that sounds great!”
Sharper: “He’s trying to goad Light in the Darkness into agreeing to Fall of Man terms. We know they’ll agree. They’re fighting champions, but as Heaven says, they have to be seen as next in line or nearly next. They have some stipulations in mind. They have something in mind.”
Knots: “But Heaven has trapped them. And that’s not all…what condition are they all going to be in after Tactical Warfare.”
Sharper: “That…that I hazard to think of what may happen with the individuals involved. And the same threat from last week. Fall of Man has hurt everyone they are facing. All have their motivations, but can it overcome the Fall of Man.”
Knots: “And themselves!”
Heaven returns to the back, Creek alongside of him. The cameras continue to film the stage as the scene cuts away.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns as we see the Fall of Man walking backstage. The crowd booing, showing that Heaven’s threats were likely true. They head over to their locker room. Giovanni Aries steps in and then looks forward as Billy Heaven Jr. walks in and then immediately makes an audible disgusted groan.
Billy: “Oh! Man! What the hell is that? James, your old lady been back here-“
James just smacks Billy in the head, causing him to fall over. Heaven steps forward as Creek walks forward and Giovanni Aries squats down, seemingly analyzing what has been left in their room. Creek walks over and looks at it and grabs it, pulling off a bulletproof vest and revealing a red snapper left inside.
Billy: “Oh damn, that shit’s rank.”
Evans: “Someone’s not that smart.”
Creek walks over as Heaven then grabs a note left on it.
Heaven: “We should have done this like men, instead you wanted to do this with fire…And soon, you too will sleep in the fire.”
Heaven crumples it up and throws it down. Aries just smirks, producing a cigarette and lights it.
Aries: “I guess we need to remind them…”
Evans: “He has no clue.”
Heaven looks at Creek.
Heaven: “They don’t. None of them do.”
The scene cuts away.
Sharper: “I don’t think that was Light in the Darkness.”
Knots: “No I don’t, but that note – that sounds like the Dangerous Minds.”
Sharper: “Things could be coming to a head soon. And after their challenge, another wrinkle to consider too.”
Kristen Scott vs. Brilliant Sun Princess YUSA
The
arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz wondering who is coming out.
As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot
across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The Oracle on the
entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.
Eins...
Zwei...
Drei...
Vier...
Fünf...
Sechs...
Sieben...
Acht...
Neun…
As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its
crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...
AUS!
Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The
One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey. The
pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the
opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey. Kirsten and her compatriots begin
their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at
her ultimate location inside the squared circle.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first,
being accompanied to the ring by Hailey Brooks and The Oracle, hailing from
‘Your Worst Personal Nightmare,’ she is The One… Kirsten Scott!”
As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten
jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up. Hailey goes into the ring,
directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle rope, and The Oracle stands
on the floor directly beneath Kirsten. Kirsten slowly raises her arm
beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, while Hailey and
The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's direction as well, all signifying
her former name, and now nickname, of "The One."
After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out in
a "DELETE" motion, before quickly sliding into the open ropes from
being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her corner. Hailey
quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the outside. Both of "The
One's" compatriots stand with her, advising her and talking to her, as she
awaits the bell ringing to start her match.
Sharper: “For weeks now, Kirsten Scott has been stirring the pot, trying to get
a match with The Enigma booked for Dogfight in Dusseldorf. She claims she’s not
afraid of any of his tricks, but management has rightfully been hesitant to let
him back.”
Knots: “The nutjob tried to burn down the Rise to Greatness pre-show last year!
I’m surprised he’s still employed at all… or that The One wants a piece of
him!”
The opening strains of Fozzy's "Ugly" come across the PA and
electric/punk/neon green spotlights roam around the stage for a bit before
finding the entrance way. In the entrance way a figure stands ready to emerge
when a cloud of deep emerald green fog rises up and obscures them. They come
through the fog and shake their head even as they wave a hand to clear the fog
away. Once that's done, they turn and start down the ramp. "Radiant Sun
Princess" YUSA pauses a third of the way down and poses with her hands
above her head making a circle to symbolize the sun. The crowd starts to cheer
and chant "YUSA! YUSA! YUSA!" as she spreads her hands in time to the
music and looks up as though watching the sun ascend to its usual place in the
sky. When she looks forward again, she's smiling broadly and waves elegantly to
the fans in attendance. For some reason, this gesture only makes them cheer her
even more as she approaches the ring.
Phillips: “Her opponent, currently residing in San Diego, California, she is
the Brilliant Sun Princess… YUSA!”
YUSA pauses at the bottom of the ramp before running forward and doing a
baseball slide under the bottom rope into the ring where lilypad green confetti
sparkles and swirls down from the ceiling into the ring and the audience.
Between her sliding into the ring and standing up, the smile fades from her
face and she becomes all business.
Sharper: “The last time we saw YUSA in action, she and YUYO teamed together to
pull off a win over the Dangerous Minds. That said, there’s been a lot of
people talking about how she pulled the Shining Maidens away from the fight
once the Fall of Man showed up and everything broke down from there.”
Knots: “YUSA’s just trying to look out for the best interests of her… friends?
Is she fully friends with YUYO and company? Maybe it’s a bit short-sighted
since we know NEMO and SAWA want the titles that the Fall of Man are also after
right now, but she’s been trying to figure it all out since losing the
Underground Championship and maybe a win over The One tonight will help with
that.”
Referee Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell and Kirsten charges YUSA, looking
for an aggressive start to this match. YUSA ducks under the forearm Kirsten
tries to throw and responds with her own, backing Kirsten against the ropes
with shot after shot. She tries to irish whip Kirsten, but she reverses it.
YUSA ends up springboarding off the second rope, but whatever she might’ve had
planned is thwarted as Kirsten cuts her off with a dropkick! Kirsten mounts
YUSA and begins raining down punches, ignoring Jennifer Cassidy’s warnings at
first before she stands up, walking away from YUSA and looking around with her
arms held wide. While this gets a mixed reaction from the fans, it’s clear
Kirsten is waiting for something, or perhaps someone, to surface.
Sharper: “Kirsten Scott gaining the upper hand in the early-going of this
match, but I think this is a mistake we don’t normally see her make.”
Knots: “We know The Enigma loves playing those creepy and cryptic mind games.
Maybe Kirsten expecting him to show up and play them is a mind game in and of
itself?”
Kirsten looks annoyed as she turns her attention back to YUSA, who is almost
back to her feet and looking at Kirsten with confusion and a bit of annoyance.
That doesn’t stop Kirsten from initiating a lockup that she easily overpowers
YUSA in, backing her into the corner. Referee Jennifer Cassidy calls for a
break and Kirsten obliges, but only briefly before she catches YUSA with a
stiff chop across the chest! Kirsten delivers a second one before she climbs to
the second turnbuckle and starts raining down more punches to YUSA’s forehead.
Jennifer Cassidy warns her yet again, but Kirsten stops and looks out at the
crowd again.
Kirsten: “Come on, Enigma! Where’s the smoke? Where’s the shadows? Don’t tell
me you’re-”
Kirsten is cut off as YUSA slips out from under her and hits a dropkick to
Kirsten’s rear, causing her to tumble from the top rope all the way out to the
floor with a hard landing! The fans audibly groan at the impact as Kirsten
clutches at her back.
Sharper: “Kirsten getting a little too caught up in trying to send a message to
The Enigma, and YUSA made her pay big time!”
Knots: “That was a nasty landing, and you know The Enigma’s probably cackling
from whatever shadow he’s hiding in to watch this!”
YUSA leans through the ropes, pointing at herself as she yells at Kirsten.
YUSA: “I’m your opponent! YUSA! Focus on me!”
YUSA steps out onto the apron, but a warning from Jennifer Cassidy actually
makes her pause for a second. She seems to be contemplating just letting
Kirsten be counted out, but as she sees Kirsten slowly pulling herself back to
her feet she can be heard apologizing in Japanese to the referee before she
springboards into an asai moonsault onto Kristen! That gets the fans roaring as
Jennifer Cassidy begins to count them out. (1) Both women are down, though YUSA
is stirring. (2) YUSA is now crawling towards the ring. (3) YUSA grabs the ring
apron as Kirsten is now starting to stir. (4) YUSA, with help from the ring
apron, manages to pull herself back to her feet. (5) She sees Kirsten trying to
get up and shakes her head before grabbing her, making Kirsten look her in the
eyes. (6)
YUSA: “Forget The Enigma! Focus on YUSA!”
YUSA rolls Kirsten back into the ring before climbing up onto the apron.
Kirsten rolls to the center of the ring as YUSA measures her before
springboarding into an elbow drop! She makes the cover, hooking the leg.
1!
2!
Kirsten Scott kicks out!
Sharper: “YUSA has Scott in a bad way right now and that split focus is
certainly not helping The One.”
Knots: “Did you see the hesitation before YUSA hit that moonsault, though?
Don’t think, just do!”
Sharper: “A lot of people have been calling her out for a while now about the
way she’s been conducting her business, Shing Maiden or not. Maybe it’s finally
starting to get to her?”
YUSA pulls Kirsten to her feet and stuns her with a couple of leg and side
kicks. She runs off the ropes, but whatever she’s looking for is intercepted as
Kirsten catches her with what looks like The Enigma’s Eclipse Kick! The fans
cheer in response to that as Kirsten shoots the nearest camera a grin before
grabbing YUSA by the hair and forcing her up to her knees as they lock eyes.
Kirsten: “Be careful what you wish for.”
Kirsten suddenly runs off the ropes behind YUSA and blasts her with a knee to
the back of the head! She rolls YUSA over and makes the cover, hooking the leg.
1!
2!
YUSA kicks out! Kirsten looks annoyed as she looks up at referee Jennifer
Cassidy, who confirms the two count.
Sharper: “Kirsten sending a few messages as she retakes control of this match.”
Knots: “I’ll say! Showing The Enigma that anything he can do, maybe she can do
better, and then a nasty knee that has YUSA wishing Kirsten would’ve kept
ignoring her!”
Kirsten pulls YUSA to her knees before clubbing her across the back a handful
of times. Pausing to look around one more time, Kirsten then starts hooking
YUSA for the One Off, but YUSA frees her arms and starts delivering some body
shots, with one of them seemingly going a bit low as Kirsten backs off
clutching at her groin. YUSA sees this and actually starts apologizing,
claiming she didn’t mean to, but Kirsten recovers and rushes YUSA, blasting her
with a hard forearm! Kirsten starts pulling YUSA to her feet before looking
around once more.
Kirsten: “Where the hell are you, you Enigmatic coward!?”
Kirsten huffs before turning her focus back to YUSA, only for YUSA to catch her
with an inside cradle! As referee Jennifer Cassidy slides into position, we see
YUSA’s hand actually reach out and grab the middle rope for leverage!
1!
2!
Right before the three is counted, Jennifer Cassidy stops as she sees YUSA
holding the middle rope! The pin is broken as YUSA confronts the referee about
why she stopped, only for Jennifer Cassidy to reveal she’d caught YUSA holding
the ropes. YUSA, who seemed unaware she’d done this, starts apologizing but
claims that something has to be done about The One ignoring her. Jennifer
Cassidy just shrugs this off, unable to do anything about that, and YUSA runs a
hand through her hair while trying to recompose herself. She turns around just
as Kirsten kicks her in the gut and hooks her for a suplex, perhaps looking for
the One by One, but once YUSA is lifted she manages to slip free and land
behind Kirsten. She kicks her in the gut when she turns and hooks her before
connecting with the Royal Flush! YUSA rolls over into the cover.
1!
2!
Kirsten Scott kicks out!
Sharper: “YUSA with another near fall! Kirsten Scott perhaps unintentionally
letting The Enigma win by worrying too much about him, but YUSA has yet to put
her away!”
Knots: “Maybe she could’ve had this if the referee had just ignored her holding
the ropes and counted the three on the cradle!”
YUSA takes a moment to maintain her composure, looking around at the fans who
are giving her a mixed reaction, though the cheers seem to be outweighing the
jeers at least. She nods to herself before she goes to climb to the top
turnbuckle, but stops when Kirsten grabs her foot. YUSA kicks at Kirsten’s
face, but that doesn’t seem to remove her grip as she uses YUSA to pull herself
back up, landing a forearm strike to YUSA’s gut to stun her. Kirsten starts to
hook her for the One Hit Wonder, but YUSA manages to elbow her way out of it.
She goes to create more space by poking Kirsten in the eye but manages to stop
herself, apologizing under her breath before suddenly the lights go out. The
crowd roars.
Sharper: “Now what? No…”
Knots: “The Enigma…could be the Enigma.”
Sharper: “No mist. No other drone. Just the lights out.”
The lights remain off for several moments. Fans turn on their phones, trying to shine a light on the situation. We hear movement as the lights remain out. This continues for what feels like ages, but after about ten more seconds, the lights return, showing YUSA in the ring with Jennifer Cassidy. YUSA looks around as Cassidy does too. Then after a few moments, Cassidy starts to count.
Sharper: “Kirsten Scott is…gone!”
Knots: “Where the hell did she go?!”
1!
2!
3!
4!
5!
Sharper: “And Jennifer Cassidy, the official, with no choice but to count her out!”
Knots: “But…”
Sharper: “She’s not in the ring!”
6!
7!
8!
9!
10!
Cassidy
calls for the bell. The bell sounds as Fozzy's "Ugly" hits the
speakers again. The fans are giving a mixed reaction as YUSA has her arm raised
in victory, which she seems pleased about.
Phillips: “Here is your winner… Brilliant Sun Princess YUSA!”
Sharper: “And with Scott vanishing, YUSA wins!”
Knots: “She
looks happy about that!”
YUSA takes a moment to apologize to referee Jennifer Cassidy once again before
she rolls out of the ring, heading up the ramp with a smile on her face.
Backstage, the scene opens where CHBK stands with Jaina Lancaster.
Lancaster: “Jaina Lancaster here with the SCW Chief Operating Officer, Alex Desoubrais, and to start off Breakdown tonight, William Heaven made another challenge. He wanted to add some stakes, namely that the Fall of Man would get to call their shots. Your reaction?”
CHBK: “I’m not surprised Heaven would try something like that. Ultimately, though, he’s also I think overplaying his hand. Fall of Man are in line for a future Tag Team Championship shot. With James Evans’s win, there’s a claim on Luz’s interim US championship. But as far as I’m concerned, I’m going to add it. Let’s add the stakes. Let’s see if Fall of Man can rise to the occasion when they have some very determined and very skilled opponents, and trust me, I’ve had some conversations with David Striker, and they’re going to have a long night ahead of them.”
Lancaster: “Undoubtedly. Tha-“
CHBK: “I also wanted to add something else.”
Lancaster: “Oh?”
CHBK: “As you know, tonight, Amelia Nevado faces Waylon Creek to determine which team will have the advantage in Tactical Warfare – who will get to have the opportunity to enter the match first after the first two head out. Well I want to add the importance of this – namely I’ve been in this position. There are people discussing tactics and strategy right to the very last moment. And to reframe this…whoever wins, their team gets to sit back and watch as their opponents lock in who goes out first. And only then will they be allowed to send their combatant to the ring. So both teams…think carefully. Who wins tonight determines how important that first person out could be.”
CHBK turns and heads off.
Lancaster: “Some very strong advice from a legend. Breakdown returns after this!”
The scene fades out.
COMMERCIALS
We return to see Jake Starr storming to the ring and looking around.
Starr: “The hell did she go?!”
Starr looks around and then heads over to the ring and looks under the ring skirt. He then looks under the ring before walking around the ring and looking under the ring again.
Sharper: “Moments ago, Kristen Scott was in the ring facing YUSA, and suddenly, the lights went out, she was gone. She was counted out as a result. And now Starr is out here.”
Knots: “I think they just found out what they’re dealing with. Scott hasn’t been afraid, but now…Starr seems to be a bit concerned.”
Starr then heads over to the announce table.
Starr: “Where ethe hell did the Wish.com magic man send her? Huh?”
Knots: “I don’t know!”
Sharper: “We don’t know. We’re as in the dark as you-“
Starr: “Ha ha. Leave the jokes to me. She’s not going to go quietly, so where the hell did this fat ass take her!”
Starr turns and heads off and walks around the ring.
Konrad Raab vs. Chris Lawler
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall!”
The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into
darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The
crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior"
by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with
anticipation.
From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined
against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles
beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's
Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he
strides purposefully down the entrance ramp. Starr walks past him.
His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering
in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality.
Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains
resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his
destiny awaits.
Phillips: “Introducing first, from Nashville, Tennessee… Chris Lawler!”
As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo,
bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the
crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his
unwavering determination.
Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura
of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler
raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. Tonight,
he will leave everything in the ring, his spirit unbroken, his resolve
unyielding, as he prepares to face whatever challenges come his way.
Sharper: “Chris Lawler hasn’t quite had the successful return he’d have liked,
and that frustration has been starting to boil over in recent weeks.”
Knots: “No kidding! Two weeks ago he took it out on Wil Pierce for no reason,
and now he’s got the Shinigami Foundation after him!”
Feuer Frei by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through
the curtain with his flanged German mace and the blowtorch with him, acting
erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace and the
blowtorch in the air, wearing red and black skull face paint on the right side
of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces
of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a
polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating
Stop Climate Change and has NASCAR Xfinity Series and Kaulig Racing logo
stitching on the right hand side of his chest on his gear. He also wears black
boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands. Ginny Raab walks out behind
him. Raab crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace and the
blowtorch in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.
Phillips: “His opponent, from Cologne, Germany, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he
is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”
After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and the
blowtorch and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos. Konrad
runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes, while Ginny walks up the
stairs and gets in the ring with Konrad. As he's in the ring, Konrad, without
showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace
on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing
him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already
ready to fight, with Ginny taking Konrad's flanged German mace and his
blowtorch away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from
his head as Ginny leaves the ring and goes backstage.
Sharper: “You want to talk about frustration, though, imagine being in Konrad
Raab’s shoes right now.”
Knots: “I’d rather not, thank you.”
Sharper: “He looked like he was on a collision course with Xander Valentine for
a World Title match in his home country, but last week, Josh Hudson got added
to the match and made it abundantly clear he feels Raab shouldn’t even be
involved at all!”
Knots: “On one hand, the match becoming a triple threat does mean there’s no
disqualifications, which is exactly the kind of playground you know Konrad
wants. On the other, that’s one more person he needs to overcome to walk out of
Germany as our new World Champion, and someone who thinks so little of him to
boot!”
Referee Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell and almost immediately has to
scramble out of the way as Raab and Lawler charge each other, trading blows as
they brawl in the middle of the ring to the delight of the fans. Raab manages
to get the upper hand with a knee to the gut before he irish whips Lawler into
the ropes, but Lawler ducks the clothesline attempt and rebounds into a
crossbody, only for Raab to duck underneath! Lawler flies over his head and
hits the mat but quickly scrambles back to his feet, only for Raab to stun him
with a boxing-style combination of punches that backs him up against the ropes
before he rushes in and takes the both of them over the top rope with a
clothesline!
Sharper: “Both men out to the floor and this has just been a brawl to kick
things off here.”
Knots: “They’re both frustrated and they’re taking it out on each other!”
Raab is the first to recover as he pulls Lawler to his feet. (1) He goes to
slam Lawler’s face into the steel steps, but Lawler gets his foot up to block
it! (2) Lawler elbows Raab in the gut, then manages to wrap his arms around
Raab’s waist before delivering a belly-to-back suplex on the floor! (3) Lawler
starts pulling himself to his feet. (4) Hearing the referee’s count, Lawler
pulls Raab to his feet and throws him back into the ring before sliding in
himself. Raab manages to get back to his feet, but Lawler sends him back to the
mat with a running clothesline! He goes for the cover.
1!
2!
Raab kicks out!
Sharper: “Lawler with a near-fall and you have to wonder how careful Konrad
would be this close to a World Title match.”
Knots: “I doubt Lawler cares. All he knows is Konrad has that big title match
coming up real soon and beating him here tonight would be a statement win on
his record!”
Raab starts trying to pull himself up, but Lawler grabs him in a sleeper hold!
He pulls Konrad back to the mat and flattens his body out, applying more
pressure and trying to make sure Raab has no escape. Referee Steve Hollinsworth
checks with Konrad, but he refuses to submit as his arms flail about, trying to
find the ropes. Lawler cranks on Raab’s head some more, but Raab manages to
turn over and get his feet under him, slowly rising to his feet. Once he’s up,
Lawler abandons the sleeper and tries to go for a german suplex, but Raab
manages to block it! Lawler tries again, but Raab blocks again before stunning
Lawler with a back elbow to the face. He does a standing switch and proceeds to
take Lawler over with a german of his own! As if that wasn’t enough, Raab rolls
through with it before hitting a second german suplex, this one with a bridge!
1!
2!
Lawler gets his shoulder up!
Sharper: “Raab fighting out of that sleeper attempt and into a nice tandem of
german suplexes!”
Knots: “You have to wonder if that was instinct or a message to Josh Hudson.
You know Hudson loves chaining those suplexes together!”
Both men get back to their feet, but Raab is just a little bit quicker and
stuns Lawler with a european uppercut. He whips Lawler into the ropes and
catches him on the return with a powerslam! Instead of going for the cover, though,
Raab pulls himself over to the ropes and gets up close to the camera.
Raab: “That was my match, Josh! Dusseldorf is in my home country! That was
supposed to be my moment, you [bleep]!”
The fans on that side of the ring pop for what Konrad said as he measures
Lawler, who is almost back to his feet. He charges, but whatever he had planned
is thwarted as Lawler sidesteps him, giving him enough of a shove to propel him
into the corner. Raab manages to stop himself before he hits the turnbuckles,
but he turns around right into a Blitz Kick from Lawler! Raab falls to the mat
as Lawler pounds on the top turnbuckle, hyping up the crowd and motivating
himself as he slowly starts to ascend to the top. He looks down at Raab and
prepares to leap for the Air Assault, but Raab finds a sudden burst of energy
and hits the ropes, causing Lawler to land in a very awkward and precarious
position! Raab slowly manages to pull himself up to the second turnbuckle,
hooking Lawler before he takes him off with a superplex!
Sharper: “Raab losing focus for a moment and Lawler almost made him pay for it,
but now both men are down!”
Knots: “I get that Konrad’s upset over his title match gaining an extra player,
but someone as desperate as Lawler is not a man you want to take your eye off
the ball against!”
Both men slowly make it back to their feet, staring each other down as their
frustration is evident. Raab is the first to strike, but Lawler responds in
kind. Raab drills him again, but Lawler once again responds and seems to stun
Raab. Lawler tries to follow this up with a dropkick, but Raab manages to block
it! As Lawler gets to his feet, Raab attempts to go for The Burninator, but
Lawler manages to fight his way out of it! He lifts Raab up in a military
press, perhaps looking for the Fury Suplex, but Raab manages to squirm free and
lands behind him! Lawler swings around for a clothesline, but Raab ducks it and
runs to the ropes, handspringing off them before catching Lawler with The Fire
Storm! He goes for the cover.
1!
2!
Lawler gets a shoulder up! Raab pounds the mat in frustration, threatening
referee Steve Hollinsworth that he had the three despite Hollinsworth’s firm
stance on his two count. Raab huffs before he sees Lawler starting to stir and
goes to grab his ankle, looking for The Burn Lock, but Lawler manages to roll
through and pick Raab’s ankle, looking for his own Lockdown Hold! Raab,
however, manages to twist around and kick Lawler in the face a few times to
free himself! Lawler stumbles back as Raab slowly starts to pull himself back
up, and once Lawler gets his bearings he suddenly rushes Raab, looking to catch
him with the Final Judgment, but Raab ducks the knee! Lawler stumbles after the
miss, and Raab hooks him from behind and lifts him up before dropping him with
The Burn-Blooded Killer! Raab goes for the cover, hooking the leg.
1!
2!
3!
Referee Steve Hollinsworth calls for the bell as “Feuer Frei” by Rammstein hits
again, with Raab slowly pulling himself back to his feet. Hollinsworth raises
his arm in victory, and Raab actually allows this for a moment, a smile even
coming to his face, before he pulls his arm away.
Phillips: “Here is your winner… Konrad Raab!”
Sharper: “Konrad picking up a nice win right before Dogfight in Dusseldorf,
giving him momentum heading into arguably the biggest match of his SCW career
thus far.”
Knots: “He may not like the fact that his big moment has a third wheel to it
now, but he might just have the edge needed to shock the world in his home
country!”
Raab exits the ring and starts heading back up the ramp, where we see Ginny
coming down to meet him. We can hear Konrad still venting about Hudson being
added to the World Title match at the pay-per-view before we see Lawler in the
ring, having recovered and angrily pounding his fist against the mat at the
realization of yet another loss on his record.
Jaina Lancaster is backstage talking to a crew member.
Williams: “GET DOWN!”
We see something fly across the screen and Jaina and the crew member flinch. Kim then jumps out of hiding.
Williams: “If that was a grenade, you’d be dead now.”
Lancaster: “Well yes…but when would we need to worry about a grenade backstage?!”
Williams: “Good question.”
Lancaster looks at Williams and Williams smiles. Lancaster then sighs.
Lancaster: “What do you want?”
Williams: “I think I’d be good in security. I mean I could maim people for getting out of line. I’d have access to sticks. Probably a gun. And I could use it to police the Underground Division.”
Lancaster: “You’re going to police the division.”
Williams: “Okay, I don’t care, but like, come on. Brittany facing Colleen. I get it, there’s a line and all, but why not me. Don’t the Germans deserves to see someone like me maim Old MacDonald?”
Lancaster: “Brittany’s been waiting for her shot since October.”
Williams: “She’s with Billy Blake. That was her problem. I’m right here. And my WASLEY can’t get any more sharp. I mean come on. We need to get back to blood, guts, ambulance visits, and phone calls to parents asking them to be prepared for a funeral. Colleen and Brittany may hit hard, but come on. And YUSA, that…oh God….just-“
Lancaster: “Why don’t you then go after her? She’s got her rematch.”
Williams looks at Jaina.
Williams: “Are you secretly a Shining Maiden? Are you trying to…wait…EXPLOSION…Oh my God. It’s perfect. You’re right. And maybe, just maybe, I can turn her into an Underground competitor. If she’s going to get a rematch, she’s going to damn sure be ready for it. I know what to do. While I wait…I’m going to coach the division. Bring it up to MY level. Oh…Jaina, thank you. You’re going to get the first free lessons.”
Lancaster: “What if-“
Williams: “Bring a smock and a lawyer.”
Williams runs off as Jaina turns to the crew member.
Lancaster: “I didn’t sign up for anything, right? No consent or anything?”
Crew member: “Does Kim know where your mom’s gym is? If so…you may need a new place.”
Lancaster: “Damn it…”
The scene cuts away.

Breakdown returns as we see William Heaven walking with Waylon Creek. We then hear some shouting as Heaven turns and Creek turns too. We then see Chris Dumont starting to head towards them, eyes focused right on Heaven. David Striker is a stride behind, joined by Kyle Gibson and Irvine.
Creek: “Get the rest.”
Heaven: “James! Giovanni!”
Chris Dumont then bolts for Heaven as we then see Creek step up and obstruct and then grab Dumont and shove him back. Dumont runs at him and Creek and him grapple at one another as Striker runs over and nails Creek with a hard right and then another before we see Evans and Aries run into the fray. Billy Heaven Jr. runs over too.
Billy Jr.: “Right out of my bar fight days. DJ Billy J is right here!”
Billy gets up and Dumont manages to turn and nail him with a hard right and then another. Billy goes down as Dumont looks right at William Heaven.
Heaven: “What? Gonna show your girl how little you think of her. Can’t have her do her own fighting?! It’s a contact sport!”
Dumont: “Oh…well, contact sport!”
Dumont nails Billy with another hard right and another and another Creek and Striker trade blows as Aries nails Irvine with a shot and then Evans grabs Gibson. They six men trade blows as Dumont gets a few more shots in before turning and starting to head for Heaven. He steps forward and William Heaven backs up. Billy Jr., however, grabs the leg of Dumont. Dumont tries to get free.
Dumont: “Let go you stupid jackass!”
Dumont jerks his leg again and tries to get free. He does it a third time, when this then leads Creek who throws Striker back to run over and grab Dumont by the throat with the Canary. The crowd roars as Heaven smiles.
Sharper: “This has broken down. Dangerous Minds, the Phantom Troupe and Fall of Man!”
Knots: “Dumont is going for Heaven, but Creek! Creek saving him!”
Sharper: “Assist from Billy Jr. too. The Canary. That hold is what has put Aisling Reed out on the shelf!”
Creek looks at Dumont as Dumont looks at him, trying to avoid showing pain before Striker nails Creek in the back with a spinning forearm shot. Creek falls forward and Dumont and him go down. Evans then gets free from Gibson to go after Striker. He grabs Striker who turns and nails him with a shot. Evans fires back. Gibson gets up as Dumont starts to pull himself up and Creek gets up. Aries and Irvine continue to trade blows before we see officials finally running into the scene. Joining them are the SCW agents, namely Dean Black, Hiro Tanaka and Dillusion. They start to split everyone apart. Heaven backs up, helping Creek up.
Sharper: “Officials on the scene! This street fight that just broke out…”
Knots: “And everyone wants to keep coming.”
Sharper: “Light in the Darkness not present. That’s not their style.”
Knots: “Is for the Troupe!”
Heaven and Creek back up as James and Striker are ripped away from one another, the two jawing at one another. Aries is backed up and spins around, cackling. Irvine just points to his chin as Dumont looks right at William Heaven before turning and stomping Billy Heaven Jr. as he starts to get up. Jr. rolls over as CHBK then comes into the scene.
CHBK: “Enough! Anyone strikes someone else and I’ll pull them from Tactical Warfare. If Gibson or Irvine do, I ban the non-contracted members of the Troupe from SCW shows permanently!”
Irvine backs up as Gibson looks on. Striker and Dumont move toward one another as Aries pulls Billy Jr. up, throwing him against the wall, causing him to collapse into a seated position on a storage crate. Aries then pulls out a cigarette and goes to light it. Striker reaches out and pulls it from him.
CHBK: “Enough! This is not happening again tonight. You want each other – you have two rings and a big ass cage to get it done. You have it in Dusseldorf. And to add to it…later tonight, when Amelia faces Waylon…everyone is banned from ringside.”
CHBK looks around.
CHBK: “Now everyone cool off! Go!”
CHBK looks around as Striker and Dumont remain glaring at the Fall of Man. Irvine and Gibson head over and grab both of them. They whisper something to them. Heaven at this point turns to Fall of Man.”
Heaven: “Let’s go. We still have Amelia Nevado to worry about.”
Creek nods and heads off first. The rest of Fall of Man follows with Billy Heaven staggering forward.
Billy Jr.: “Next time I’ll kick your ass!”
Billy staggers back as Dumont turns back and Striker stops him.
Striker: “I’d love to see him try.”
The scene cuts away.
A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.
“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”
The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.
“Some are born to kill
Others are born to run
Some need to keep on takin'
Till you ain't got none”
A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.
“But baby, I wasn't built to die
Lay down and be crucified
Nah, no matter how hard they try
To push me down
Still I rise”
“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”
The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp. The SCW World Championship is over his shoulder. He heads to the ring.
Sharper: “While there is chaos backstage, the World Title scene has seen Raab trying to injure Xander. That got personal, before Josh Hudson then returned, ending his retirement and demanding his rematch.”
Knots: “And now, triple threat, Dogfight in Dusseldorf – Raab, Hudson and Valentine for the World Title!”
Suffocate me until I am blue
To preserve my bad worldview
Paranoid, All Eyes On Me
Rumours circle, vultures feed
Baby, I wasn't built to die
Lay down and be crucified
Nah, no matter how hard they try
To push me down
Still I rise
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound.. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the ropes and goes to the corner, grabbing a microphone waiting for him. He then turns back to the middle of the ring. His music fades out as the crowd roars.
Xander: “I don’t know what emotion right now is sticking the most with me. Is it the anger at Josh Hudson? The frustration at Konrad Raab? Or the disappointment that I will have to deal with someone who can’t understand he did not lose by a fluke and now he’s muscling in on another person’s issue.”
Xander looks around.
Xander: “The automatic rematch clause you’ve used Josh – I hope you have a plan for when you fail at my feet again, Josh!”
Xander looks at the camera.
Xander: “You can denigrate Konrad Raab all you want. The fact was that we were not going to have a World Title match at Dogfight in Dusseldorf – we were going to have a wager with what was left of our careers. That was what he challenged me too whether he knew it or not. When he placed that blowtorch to my foot. When he bloodied me with that mace. When I destroyed his racing car. And when I was willing to take on the entire EFN. I was going to destroy everything he stood for. And you…you got involved.”
Xander scoffs.
Xander: “You had the perfect send off. Respected. And fallen like a warrior. But now, you’re just a pest. An unwanted one. Who forced his way into an event that they were not needed it. You can talk about how Raab doesn’t deserve to be champion – that was for me to prove. You lost that right when you lost at my hand at Under Attack!”
The crowd roars. Xander looks at the camera.
Xander: “You need to understand that. You were retired. You should have stayed retired. But note, now that you are standing across from me again, you will have to deal with the ramifications of this short-sighted and ego-filled decision!”
Hudson: “You’re the only one with an ego here, Xander.”
The crowd boos as Josh Hudson walks out from the back, microphone in hand. Xander turns to the entrance way.
Hudson: “You’re the one who still thinks they have plenty left when they’re one shot to the head to calling it all. You know it. I know it. And you can wave Under Attack over me all you want.”
Hudson continues to walk down to the ring.
Hudson: “I made more of an impact in five months, than you did all year. I beat your white whale, Xander. I beat Selena. I took on all comers. I didn’t stoop to the level of another old man who is holding onto his delusions.”
Xander: “You’re one to talk about delusions, Hudson.”
Hudson: “The world forgot about me the moment I lost when I deserved the world. And I deserve this rematch. I deserve this match. Not Konrad. That old son of a bitch only has a chance in this because he can’t actually keep up with us in a wrestling match. He needs to use weapons.”
Xander: “That’s the way it went, Josh. Only you to blame here. I was happy to have that war.”
Hudson: “And you should be above it. I should be above it. And we should’ve had a one on one rematch so I could prove everything I’ve said. I should be World Champion. I should NOT have lost at Under Attack-“
Xander: “And yet you did!”
The crowd roars. Xander then chuckles to himself.
Hudson: “I wouldn’t laugh. I can wrestle circles around both of you.”
Xander: “You may, Josh.”
The crowd starts to cheer.
Xander: “But you may have also done the one thing no one could have after how 2024 ended…”
Hudson: “What’s that?”
Xander: “Get Konrad and I to agree about something.”
Just then, we see Konrad step up behind Hudson with a steel chair and nails Hudson in the back with the chair. Hudson drops down and rolls over. He looks up at Konrad and then backs up. Konrad then steps up.
Konrad: “You think you can take me. Come on Josh! Come on!”
Xander watches as Konrad advances on Josh. Josh looks at the ring, annoyed, before turning back. Raab then lunges and goes for a violent chair shot at Josh’s head. Josh ducks and spins around before looking at the ring and then Raab again. He then storms backward and over to the barricade.
Sharper: “Raab trying to take Hudson’s head off with that chair!”
Knots: “And Xander is just watching!
Sharper: “And Hudson is getting out of here!”
Hudson exits the ringside area, exiting into the crowd. He backs up, pointing at Xander and then Raab while jawing at them. Raab then turns to Xander as Xander looks at him, the two staring down.
Sharper: “Don’t get this wrong. They may hate Hudson, but they are not allies. And in just over a week…some blood will be spilled!”
Hudson storms off as Raab and Xander continue to stare each other down and the scene cuts away.

Shining Maidens vs. Dangerous Minds
Suddenly the lights in the arena fade down as the video wall does a couple of static jumps before showing us a short video clip akin to classic “Our Feature Presentation” introductions to Grindhouse movies.
Once the clip ends, the dark and hard chords of Motionless in White's cover of "Du Hast" starts to play throughout the arena as the video show the highlights of the SCW careers of David Striker and Chris Dumont within a steampunk grid.
Chris Motionless:
[x4]
Du
Du hast
Du hast mich
Du hast mich
At this point the crowds come to their feet with a massive pop as Irvine comes walking out of the entrance first followed close behind by Chris Dumont who slowly raises his right fist into the air before he moves off to one side as David Striker steps out onto the entrance way with a calm but grim expression on his face with Kyle Gibson on his six before the foursome make their way down to the ring, Chris fist bumping a fan or two while David keeps his attention solely on the ring.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first, they are escorted to the ring by Kyle Gibson and Irvine. They represent the Phantom Troupe...they are David Striker and the "Ronin" Chris Dumont...this is DANGEROUS MINDS!!!”
Upon reaching the ring, all four men wiped their feet off before they enter the ring properly as David quickly shucks off his ring coat before tossing it out of the ring while Irvine and Kyle get out of the ring to help keep an eye out for trouble while Chris climbs to the top of the nearest turnbuckle and raises a fist into the air before he hops down while David moves to the center of the ring and calmly waits for their opponents with his partner, both men ready for war.
Sharper: “Dangerous Minds already have made some impact tonight and you know they’re chomping at the bit.”
Knots: “They are, but also remember, part of this – Shining Maidens, at least YUSA and YUYO got an assist from Fall of Man. So now, the Phantom Troupe, they’re looking to make statements. They’re taking no prisoners.”
Radio
static fizzes over the load speakers. A male voice, thickly accented, call out
in monotone.
“NEMO. YUYO. SAWA. SHINY! MAIDEN! KITTY?”
A Fortune Cat appears on the screen, the arm waving as a short countdown
begins: 3… 2… 1… And everything goes crazy, pink and yellow strobe lights shine
out onto the crowd and stage, streamers explode from around the entrance
curtains. The opening riffs of AmaLee’s cover of “No Pain No Game” from the
anime Btooom! Play:
The ending of this story
I will hold it close as I wonder so aimlessly
Into this new world
(The game has only just begun)
I can see it in your eyes
This is where tomorrow brings a new game
It’s time to learn that pain is gain
Ready fight!
YUYO pops out and rolls forward, she poses. Behind her, Neko and Sakura runs
out. All three pose at the top of the ramp, Neko and Sakura placing the backs
of their hands under their chin while YUYO raises her arm up. They suddenly
break formation, Neko and Sakura runs to opposite corners of the ramp.
I gotta crush and paint away the anguish
Of my past for sake of my future
Until my life comes to an end
I am gonna fight to tear apart that destiny
Phillips: “Their opponents, accompanied by Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO and Mr. Meowkazawa, they are from Japan, the team of Crimson Demonic Princess NEMO and Radiant Angelic Princess SAWA, they are the Shining Maidens!”
All three execute timed pelvic thrusts with chops. Meowkazawa steps out behind
the three girls and claps his hands together. The Shining Maidens begin
to goose march in a straight line down the ramp. Again, Sakura goes right, Neko
goes left while YUYO hops up onto the apron in an amazing leap. While her
compatriots roll in underneath the bottom ropes, YUYO grabs the top rope and
flips over.
Aah, break out and start a revolution
Until you find the answer you’re looking for
I’ll challenge all my limits
Knowing this could be my only chance now
To overcome this fate has come over me
The ending of this story
I will hold it close as I wonder so aimlessly
Into this new world
The game has only just begun
I can see it in your eyes
YUYO drops down to her knee, and all three pose again, with finger guns held to
the side of their heads like Charlie Angels. They discard their entrance
attire, whatever whack unnecessary, restraining pieces of cosplay they have on
that week. Meowkazawa collect their stuff while still applauding.
Sharper: “SAWA and NEMO stepping in. They have faced the Dangerous Minds before. That was last summer.”
Knots: “When you’re wanting tag shots, you take the match in front of you and win.”
Sharper: “Many believe Shining Maidens may be next. Of course, Fall of Man making clear that won’t be the case.”
The bell sounds and Dumont and Striker strike. They rush NEMO and SAWA and Dumont forearms SAWA in the jaw and then hits a headbutt before a Code Zero. SAWA falls back and rolls to the floor. The crowd ohs. Striker hits a shotei on NEMO before a left and a spinning right back fist to the jaw. NEMO falls to a knee. Striker grabs her and pulls her up and then whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Dumont hits a uppercut, before David hits a leg lariat. NEMO hits the mat and turns and Dumont catches her and hits a jawbreaker into a running boot by Striker. NEMO turns around and into Dumont who hits a reverse STO. Striker stands guard as Dumont covers NEMO.
1!
2!
NEMO gets her shoulder up. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “South Town Shuffle and NEMO almost down in record time.”
Knots: “Told you they were driven!”
Sharper: “Shining Maidens struggling here with this onslaught.”
Dumont gets of as Striker exits. Dumont grabs NEMO and pulls her up and runs her into the neutral corner. He hits a back elbow and then a jumping kick to the head. The crowd ohs. Dumont drags her out and then snapmares her down. He tags in Striker. Striker grabs the top rope and slingshots in with a hilo. The crowd ohs. He then dives onto her for the pin.
1!
2!
NEMO kicks out again. She rolls over and Striker drags her up and just nails her hard in the back, clubbing her once and then again. He then spins out and hits a snap suplex. NEMO rolls over and grimaces as SAWA reaches out. Striker runs across and nails SAWA with a forearm, knocking her off.
Sharper: “Dumont and Striker came to make a statement.”
Knots: “They’re also not taking their foot off the gas. I don’t know if that’s respect or just anger.”
Sharper: “And even knocking SAWA off, we’re not seeing any jawjacking. We’re just seeing them fight the Maidens.”
Striker turns back and drills NEMO with a clothesline. He then hooks the leg.
1!
2!
NEMO kicks out. Striker gets up and tags in Dumont. Dumont and Striker turn and then see NEMO sitting up and they both run into the ropes in front of her and hit dual low-angle boots to the face. The crowd ohs. Dumont then goes for the pin.
1!
2!
NEMO shoots her shoulder up. Dumont rolls her over and then drags her over to the corner of the Dangerous Minds. Again, they tag and Striker enters as Dumont grabs NEMO and hits a back suplex as Striker just pulls her down. The crowd ohs. NEMO rolls over. Striker folds her up.
1!
2!
SAWA manages to break it up and rolls out of the ring. Dumont exits.
Sharper: “SAWA helping NEMO. This is going to require the Maidens to focus.”
Knots: “Maybe that’s the goal. Minds don’t seem to care for how they carry themselves.”
Sharper: “They may be in an odd presentation, but they are damn good in the ring.”
Striker gets up and NEMO leans on the ropes. Striker clubs her in the back hard again and again before pulling her up and then just forearming her in the jaw. NEMO falls back into the ropes, bouncing off before suddenly stepping up and drilling Striker with the Skull Kick. The crowd ohs. Striker hits the mat. He slowly rolls over and NEMO then runs over and jumps up and hits a double stomp to his back. NEMO falls over. She then crawls over to SAWA as the crowd roars and NEMO tags her in. SAWA enters as Striker gets up and both NEMO and SAWA run at Striker and hits a double dropkick. He falls into the neutral corner. He bounces out and SAWA and NEMO both wrench his arm and then snapmare him over before hitting thrust kicks to the head. The crowd ohs. SAWA goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Striker kicks out. NEMO exits. SAWA rolls off. Striker stirs and SAWA then grabs his arms and rolls him into a crucifix pin.
1!
2!
Striker kicks out. Both get up and SAWA cartwheels past a clothesline attempt. Striker turns and SAWA jumps up and hits a frankensteiner. Striker rolls through and to the ropes. SAWA then runs at him and hits a crossbody, sending him up and over to the floor. SAWA however holds onto the ropes. She then climbs back up. Striker gets up and Dumont spins around and SAWA hits a thrust kick before then jumping to the middle rope and hitting a moonsault onto Striker on the floor.
Sharper: “SAWA trying to turn this around. Moonsault to the floor!”
Knots: “SAWA almost trying to make sure she doesn’t miss anything. And YUYO loves it.”
YUYO cheers on SAWA as SAWA rolls over. She then gets up and poses. The crowd roars. This, however, leans Dumont to run over and clothesline her down. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Dumont…SAWA was celebrating. And Dumont said no.’
Knots: “Jesus!”
Sharper: “And look out!”
YUYO starts to storm over, stopped by Meowkazawa, but NEMO spins around the ringpost and then runs at Dumont and just runs at him and tackles him down. NEMO rolls through. SAWA slowly stirs. (1) Dumont rolls over. NEMO too. Striker starts to stir as SAWA moves to the ring. (2) She then winces and rolls into the ring. Striker crawls to the ring. (3) She grabs the ring and pulls himself up and SAWA then runs across the ring, bounces off and hits a running dropkick through the ropes to Striker. Striker falls back to the barricade. SAWA then runs across the ring, bouncing off and then diving through the ropes with a suicide dive, knocking Striker into the barricade. The crowd ohs. SAWA grabs Striker and rolls him into the ring. SAWA climbs to the apron and then climbs to the top rope. Striker stirs and SAWA dives off with a crossbody. Striker however rolls through then lifts her up before turning her into a Michinoku Driver. The crowd ohs. He remains in the sitout position!
1!
2!
SAWA kicks out. Striker rolls back and then gets up and hits the VIVA la BAM! The crowd ohs. He gets up and NEMO enters and runs at Striker and flips off Striker before stepping up and forearming him and hitting another Skull Kick. NEMO then staggers back and exits the ring as the crowd roars.
Sharper: “Striker did not expect NEMO to bend the rules.”
Knots: “The ref didn’t even have a chance to stop her.”
Sharper: “Another skull kick, but Striker and Dumont have managed to limit the dancing and other aspects they and others have taken issue with with Shining Maidens. And this is a very different match than we saw two weeks ago!”
Striker rolls over and SAWA stirs. Dumont returns to his corner as Striker grabs at the ropes. SAWA looks around and starts to crawl toward NEMO. Striker grabs at the ropes and SAWA dives and tags in NEMO. Striker tags in Dumont. The crowd roars. Both enter and run at one another. Dumont attempts a spinning forearm blow, but NEMO ducks. She then turns and hits a third Skull Kick. Dumont, however, doesn’t go down and stumbles back into the ropes. NEMO turns to him and Dumont hits a Code Zero. NEMO stumbles and into the ropes. Dumont then steps up and NEMO runs at him and spins through into a school boy.

Sharper: “And at the end, back and forth. NEMO and Dumont throwing strikes and Dumont with the last shot. Code Zero, Championship Edition. Win for Dangerous Minds.”
Knots: “And while they may be going to war, they’re building moment, and you can see their stiffness, their aggressiveness. They’re ready for a dogfight.”
YUYO looks on, disappointed as Dumont gets up and embraces Striker. The official raises their arms in victory. They look around as Dumont and Striker then walk around the ring, looking at SAWA and NEMO before exiting the ring.

Breakdown returns as we see Destiny Page with the Light in the Darkness, both holding their title belts.
Destiny: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Luz, Amelia, you’ve been preparing for Amelia’s big match tonight against Waylon Creek, but we’ve seen the Fall of Man busy and making a further challenge with CHBK has accepted, and your partners, Dangerous Minds going right after them, fighting them even backstage.”
Amelia shakes her head as Luz first responds.
Luz: “First, I’ll talk about the Fall of Man and their challenge – I happen to agree with CHBK here, but we’re fine with it. They want to have the opportunity to dictate terms. To get the matches they want, fine. They’ll still have to get through Amelia and I. They’ll still need to take the titles from us, and one thing they should know, Creek especially – we fight. James too. We fight. And we will always fight until we can’t get back up. And we will keep fighting. Amelia will prove that tonight.”
Amelia then asks to step in.
Amelia: “But we’ll do it in the ring. David, Chris, I know you have your own personal vendettas you want to resolve in this match. We hope Aisling’s surgery went well. David, you were burned by Giovanni Aries. But to just have brawls all over, that’s only going to play to them, even if you bring your own ringers. The fact is that Luz and I always resolved to end it in the ring. We are going to take it there. To Tactical Warfare and we will do everything we can to rise to the occasion. Focus on that. Please…focus there.”
Amelia then pauses.
Amelia: “Just like I’ll be focusing on Waylon tonight. Tonight, I’ll have to do what some people tell me is impossible. I have to beat the unbeatable. Well, Waylon, this should be your match. But what did we just say…we will fight. And we will keep fighting. Until we can. And I will do everything to make sure we have that advantage at Tactical Warfare. I will aim to do the impossible. And no William, my heart will be fine. You hope a loss tonight shatters our confidence. We will not give you that satisfaction. Luz may be banged up. We may need to reconsider tactics, but we have earned our spot here and we will fight to it. And if Creek wins tonight, it just makes our fight in Dusseldorf harder…and we’ll figure out how to rise to that occasion too. It’s one battle in the war. But I know one battle won’t lose it all.”
Amelia and Luz turn to Destiny.
Destiny: “Thanks for your time and good luck tonight.”
Amelia nods as Luz follows her. Destiny turns to the camera.
Destiny: “Back to ringside.”
Ryan and Chris Hollywood then step into the scene.
Chris: “More projections and this outfit…oh no…”
Ryan: “You need to work with what you got. And we need to make you more chest forward. Come on…lean in, lean in.”
The scene abruptly cuts away.
Blake Mason vs. Asher Hayes
The
lights go out. A few moments later, a white spotlight shines at the top of the
ramp. In that spotlight we see a man wearing a robe that "Blake Mason
Experience" embroidered in white. The lights to the rest of the arena come
back on, the chorus to "The Night" by Disturbed echoes through the
loudspeaker. Blake Mason still has his back turned to the camera. Blake heads
to the ring at a methodical pace. Reaching the steel steps, he walks up them,
on to the apron, steps into the ring. Blake steps onto the middle turnbuckle
with his arms outstretched as if he's basking in his own glory. He takes off
his robe; hops down. He immediately hits the ropes, then stops in the center of
the ring. Drops down to his knees. Points up to the sky before he stands
upright. He walks over to the nearest corner to rest comfortably.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one-fall! Introducing first,
from Boston, Massachusetts, he is…Blake! Mason!”
The opening riff to "Song for the Dead" by Queens of the Stone Age
kicks in. At the 37 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares
through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a long leather
jacket, his face full of focus. He bows down for a few moments before standing
up straight, throwing both fists in the air, before making his way towards the
ring.
“It's late enough to go driving
And see what's mine
Life's the study of dying
How to do it right"
He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rains down upon
him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both
fists into the air, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking at
the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.
“You're a holy roller
If you bettin' to lose
If you're hanging around
I'm holding the noose"
He stands, once again, on the top rope. His expression remains focused as he
looks toward the ceiling, before dropping down, removing his jacket and handing
his belongings to the ref.
Phillips: “And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, he is…Asher! Hayes!”
Asher then leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin. The referee
calls for the bell. Blake is shown glaring at Asher, who steps out of the
corner.
Sharper: “Blake Mason taking on Asher Hayes here tonight. These two have a bit
of history. They’ve not only encountered one another one social media, but
Asher defended the SCW United States title against Blake back in 2009.”
Knots: “Asher won that match, but this is a different Blake Mason.”
Sharper: “That has been on display since his return the Breakdown after Rise to
Greatness.”
Blake and Asher meet in the center of the ring. Both look focused, pressing
their foreheads together, jawing.
Sharper: “Doesn’t appear to be any love lost between them all these years
later.”
Asher steps back then slaps Blake across the face, as hard as he can.
Knots: “And Asher put an exclamation point on that statement!”
Blake holds his jaw before glaring once again at Asher. He goes to throw a
right, but Asher blocks it before connecting with left, followed by a second,
and then a third, backing Blake into the ropes. Asher steps back before
charging forward, going for a clothesline. Blake steps aside, sending Asher
over the ropes.
Sharper: “Blake turning the tide, leaving Asher on the apron.”
Blake then connects with a left hook, stunning Asher. Blake grabs Asher, but
Asher grabs Blake and drops down, sending Blake throat first into the top rope.
Blake bounces back, grasping at his throat as he falls to the mat.
Knots: “That’s not good for anyone’s health. Asher back in the ring, now. He’s
made it known how he feels about Blake since his return at Fatal Fortunes.”
Blake is shown getting to his feet, only for Asher to hook him and drop Blake
down to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. Asher goes for the cover.

2!
Blake
kicks out. Asher sits on one knee and grabs Blake by the hair and begins to
hammer away with rights as the crowd begins to cheer.
Sharper: “And the crowd is loving this!”
Knots: “Blake has made it known that he wants to be SCW World Champion. Asher
is a former World Champion. He beats Asher, that could get him back into the
conversation. He just needs to…I don’t know…kick it into a different gear.”
Asher pulls Blake up, but Blake hits a European uppercut. Asher staggers back
and Blake takes him down with a running lariat. Asher hits the mat but bounces
back up and turns into a belly to back suplex from Blake, with Blake going for
a cover.
1!
2!
Asher
kicks out. Blake rolls over and connects with lefts and rights, while Asher
tries to cover up. Blake then pulls Asher up from the mat and whips him across
the ring. Asher bounces off the ropes. Blake goes for another lariat, but Asher
dunks under. Asher bounces off the other side, but Blake catches him and sends
him to the mat with an exploder suplex. Another cover by Blake.
1!
2!
Asher
kicks out. Blake grabs Asher and pulls him up. Blake hits another European
uppercut before whipping Asher into the corner. Blake charges and Asher gets
the boot up. Blake stumbles back. Asher charges out of the corner and connects
with a running big boot to the back of the head. Blake hits the mat and rolls
over onto his back. Asher begins to circle Blake, who is shown getting to his
feet.
Sharper: “These two are evenly matched. Wait. What’s this?”
The cameras show Selena storming out from the back, a lead pipe in hand.
Knots: “Selena Frost making her out here. This was bound to happen, especially
with what Blake did last week. Lead pipe in hand, she’s coming for her pound of
flesh.”
Sharper: “And Blake isn’t aware.”
Asher is shown looking at the ramp before turning back to Blake who is getting
to his feet. Blake turns as Asher charges, taking Blake down with a spear!
Blake hits the mat before rolling outside. Asher follows.
Blake manages to get to his feet, only to find himself standing in front of
Selena. The crowd cheers. Blake turns and goes to get back into the ring, but
Asher grabs him. Asher spins Blake around and connects with another right hook,
dropping Blake to one knee. Asher walks by Blake and cameras show him staring
at Selena.
Asher: “He’s all yours…”
Asher is then shown walking to the back before Selena is shown going towards
Blake. Blake scrambles to his feet and rolls into the ring. Selena follows.
Sharper: “Asher, who has shared his disdain for Selena, stepping aside and heading
to the back. Now it’s Selena and Blake.”
Knots: “Can’t forget the lead pipe.”
Blake and Selena are shown standing in the center of the ring as the ref tries
to get in between. Blake head butts Selena, then hits a haymaker, before Selena
manages to connect with the lead pipe, getting a shot to the ribs. Blake
hunches over and Selena drives the pipe into Blake’s back.
Sharper: “All hell is breaking loose! Here come reinforcements!”
Cameras show Hiro, Dillusion, Dean Black, and group of referees rushing into
the ring, getting in between Blake and Selena. Both try to get to the other,
but are continuously held back.
Selena: “Let him go! I’m right here!”
Blake: “You’re only going to make this worse for yourself!”
Cameras show Selena and Blake still trying to get to each other, before Blake
finally steps back and he drops to the mat then rolls to the outside, keeping
his eyes on Selena. Selena is still trying to lunge forward while Blake is
shown climbing over the barricade and walking backwards through the crowd,
before we cut away.

Backstage, we see YUYO talking to NEMO and SAWA in the Shining Maidens locker room. Mr. Meowkazawa stands with her.
YUYO: “We need to be better. Did you not learn from the mastery YUYO and YUSA showed against them?”
NEMO: “They’re good. We just were a step slow.”
YUYO: “We don’t need excuses. We need solutions. We need EXPLOSION!”
SAWA: “We tried YUYO.”
YUYO: “There is no try. In the Shining Maidens, there is only do! And we need to do. You could be up for the Tag Titles. We need gold again. That will make the world take us seriously again. For justice! For truth!”
YUSA then enters the room. She turns back, telling her bodyguards to wait outside. She turns back.
YUYO: “YUSA! Tell them your advice for success.”
YUSA: “Well…uh…that…You’ll get your chance to show it yourself.”
YUYO: “Oh I know. Whatever is next for YUYO. Third best star in SCW. Definitely going to be on the pay per view. But I’m talking NEMO and SAWA.”
YUSA: “I am too. I just got back from CHBK’s office. I am tired of the disrespect. We say we stand for truth, for justice. What about the truth about us! Justice for US!”
YUYO: “YUYO agrees. More respect. More justice! EXPLOSION!”
NEMO: “What did you do?”
YUSA: “I’ve asked for two matches and I’ve been granted both. YUYO will lead you two into battle. You can learn right from her…and you’ll face the European Fiery Nation at Dogfight in Dussledorf.”
YUYO: “But…the one smells!”
YUSA: “Take it as a leadership opportunity.”
SAWA: “We get to compete in Germany?”
NEMO: “You sure about this? You’re still getting acclimated to everything.”
YUSA: “Sink or swim. How you need to learn. Look at what YUYO and I accomplished at Rise to Greatness. What we were doing then. We need to get back to that.”
Meowkazawa: “You said you had two matches? You didn’t double-book YUYO-“
YUSA: “No, the second is for me. I’m tired of the Underground not taking me seriously. I was their champion after all and I earned the shot. By the rules of the match. I’m tired of worried about what others thing. Assuming things because they just don’t like us or want to. Maybe something more sinister. I don’t care. Kimberly Williams can say she deserves something more. I outlasted her at Under Attack and I’ll do it again. And at Dogfight, people will put respect on the name of the Shining Maidens! Right?”
YUSA looks at YUYO. YUYO looks around before then cluing in.
YUYO: “EXPLOSION!”
YUSA smiles as the scene cuts away.
Syren vs. Chase Upshaw
“United
States, Canada, Mexico, Panama,
Haiti, Jamaica, Peru,
Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean,
Greenland, El Salvador, too.”
Nations of the World by Rob Paulson plays. Chase Upshaw makes his way onto the
stage shouting and cursing as loud as he can. The camera and microphones catch
some of the curse words, causing the networks to bleep him out.
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time
limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Durham, North Carolina, he is Chase
Upshaw!”
“Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela,
Honduras, Guyana, and still,
Guatemala, Bolivia, then Argentina,
And Ecuador, Chile, Brazil.”
Chase starts to march his way down to the ring, flipping off a few fans along
the way and mocking their complete and total lack of Geography knowledge.
“Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua, Bermuda,
Bahamas, Tobago, San Juan,
Paraguay, Uruguay, Suriname,
And French Guiana, Barbados, and Guam.”
Chase Upshaw slides into the ring and prepares for the match to begin.
Sharper: “Chase Upshaw managing to start a winning streak last time we saw him.”
Knots: “Crystal is still wondering where Uzbekistan is.”
Sharper: “But I think he’ll have a bit more of a challenge here.”
The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain with the SCW Adrenaline Championship around her waist, accompanied by Lexy Chapel. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering, as Lexy waves her arms, trying to get them to cheer even louder for her client.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY
Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.
Phillips: “His opponent, being accompanied by Lexy Chapel and representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, this is SYREN!”
Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope and unclipping the title, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up, and holding up the Adrenaline title with her right hand. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client. She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Syren hands her the Adrenaline title and takes off her ring jacket and hands that to Lexy before taking back the title. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down and standing in her corner with Lexy, with the title across her shoulder, as her music fades out.
Sharper: “And after over half a year away, Syren back in the ring, here on Breakdown!”
Knots: “But is she ready?”
Sharper: “Ready for what?”
The bell sounds. Upshaw steps up and looks at Syren.
Upshaw: “You think you’re so good. You should be jealous of me!”
Upshaw points to himself. Syren looks around.
Upshaw: “Why? Because I know where Kiribati is! Do you?”
Syren looks around.
Upshaw: “See…you don’t! YOU FAIL!”
Upshaw then takes a swing, but Syren blocks it and looks at him.
Syren: “South of the Marshall Islands!”
Syren then nails Upshaw with a hard right. The crowd roars.
Knots: “Is that right?”
Sharper: “I…I don’t know?”
Upshaw rolls over and gets up and Syren forearms him in the jaw and then nails him again before pushing him into the corner. She then climbs up to the middle turnbuckle, straddling him and nailing him with repeated forearm shots.

Sharper: “And Syren looking good so far-“
Knots: “Ha! She was right. She could’ve said east of Nauru!”
Sharper: “Get off your phone and watch the match Jon!”
Upshaw starts to get up and Syren heads over and grabs him, but Upshaw reaches up and rakes her eyes. The crowd boos. Upshaw then nails her with a hard right before then turning and sending her into the ropes. She bounces off and Upshaw hits an Australian Outback Arm Drag. She pops up and turns and Upshaw follows up with a Russian knee strike. She gets up and Upshaw hits a European uppercut and then another before then hooking her up and going for the North American suplex. Syren, blocks it. Upshaw tries again. She blocks again. She then pushes free and hits an enziguri kick to the head. Upshaw staggers around and Syren gets up and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a Face Lift. The crowd ohs. Upshaw hits the mat. He slowly gets up and staggers around before turning to Syren who jumps up and hits the Syren’s Call. She gets up and looks around.
Sharper: “And Syren turning it around. Upshaw in trouble!”
Knots: “Go for the eyes again! Worked the last time.”
Chapel: “Hey! Upshaw. Want to know what Phoenix wants?!”
Upshaw starts to get up and Syren heads over and grabs him, but again, Upshaw rakes the eyes. Syren turns and Upshaw hits the Saigon suplex, a Saito suplex. He turns and hooks the leg.

Syren kicks out. Both get up and Upshaw grabs her and goes for the Mediterranean Neckbreaker, but Syren spins through and kicks him in the ribs and hits a spike DDT. She then rolls over and gets up and shakes her head, rubbing her eyes. Upshaw starts to get up, holding his head in pain. He staggers up and turns to Syren who blasts him with the Bittersweet Ending! The crowd roars.
Chapel: “Superkick Soiree!”
Chapel yells out as Syren drops down and hooks the leg.

3!
The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Syren rolls off and gets up.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Syren!”
Sharper: “Syren getting through Upshaw and his cheating ways, to stand call. Not the dominant fight you would hope, but Syren showing enough after six months away.”
Knots: “Served the purpose and you know…”
Syren gets up and has her arm raised. She looks around and nods as Lexy Chapel climbs onto the apron and goes into the ring. But as she does, Syren’s music cuts out, instead turning to "Song for the Dead" by Queens of the Stone Age. The crowd roars as Asher Hayes walks out from the back. Syren turns and looks at him. Lexy Chapel steps up too.
Sharper: “Asher Hayes?”
Knots: “We saw him earlier. Got the hell out of dodge when Selena came out to get some blood.”
Sharper: “Why is he out here now? There is history between these two, but I thought that was long ago.”
Hayes walks down to the ring. Syren watches him as Lexy really watches him. Hayes goes over to the timekeeper’s table and demands a microphone. He’s given one and he turns back to the ring.
Hayes: “Cut the music.”
Sharper: “Hayes going to say something here.”
Knots: “Jaina and Destiny were just scaring him off!”
The music fades out as Hayes walks up the steel steps.
Hayes: “Congratulations Syren. First…what’s his name and now this guy. Look, they’re trying to get ahead too, but we all know that you just got back, but people want to see you challenged. See if the old Syren is back or you’re still limping along. And trust me, I know that feeling too.”
Hayes enters the ring. Syren watches him.
Hayes: “Easy, Lexy. I’m not here to attack her. Or anything. More…I’ve been sitting back, I’m waiting for my US Title shot, but I’m not looking to get involved in other people’s business…at least yet. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to just sit back. And I am up for focusing on what proves something to me.”
Hayes looks at Syren.
Hayes: “And damn it, I need to beat you.”
The crowd roars.
Hayes: “So, how about it…just a good old-fashioned wrestling match. Someone wins. Someone loses. And you and I both know after next weekend, things may open up quite a bit around here. And we both learn where we are in our quests.”
Hayes looks at Syren as Lexy just looks at Syren. Syren just nods. She then steps up and extends her hand.
Syren: “You’re on.”
Hayes nods as he shakes her hand. The two look at one another before “Groupie” plays. Syren turns and walks off. Lexy Chapel then walks over to Hayes.
Chapel: “You just got your invitation to the Superkick Soiree!”
Chapel steps back and exits the ring, joining Syren. Syren heads off.
Sharper: “Hayes, no jokes, no flirting, just a challenge.”
Knots: “Just wants to prove himself. Well, why not go after the Hall of Famer!”
Hayes watches as Syren and Chapel walk up to the back.
Backstage, we cut to see crew members and the trainer checking on Kristen Scott as we see her kneeling next to an open door that leads to a utility room. Jake Starr heads over.
Starr: “The hell happened?!”
Scott: “The stupid jackass used something to make me pass out and I woke up locked in this.”
Starr: “You okay?”
Scott: “Feel fine, just groggy. It’s all just smoke and mirrors. He’s just messing with us. He just took me and locked me in a dark room. The guy is just screwing with me because he has nothing. Has to pull that shit.”
Scott gets up and staggers, pushing herself away. She falls into Starr. Starr catches her.
Starr: “Stop with the Rambo stuff. We know you’re going to kick his ass at Dogfight. You know the plan there. You need to make sure nothing’s in your system.”
Lucas Knight then comes into the scene.
Knight: “She okay?!”
Starr: “Like you care. The son of a bitch drugged her.”
Knight: “We told you he was dangerous. The hell did you think was gonna happen, mate. He was going to have tea with her.”
Scott: “Whatever. I’m going to just kick his ass and end the act once and for all and you can then thank me.”
Scott steps forward and Starr helps her down to a seated position.
Starr: “First you get checked out.”
Knight nods to the trainer as the scene cuts away.

Glory Braddock vs. Ace Marshall
The
first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the
PA system...
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty
minute time limit. If Ace Marshall wins, he will be added to the SCW Adrenaline
Championship match at Dogfight in Dusseldorf! First, From London, England, the
SCW Adrenaline Champion, she is The British Bombshell GLORY BRADDOCK!”
Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of
purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. The SCW Adrenaline Championship
is around her waist. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from
ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the
entrance ramp.
I come alive at the second of midnight
So I can fly when the world is asleep
You scream and howl as I'm taking the first bite
Blood on my tongue tastes of eternity
People will come and go
Some stories never told
They bury me down below
But I'll never die
'Cause I'm immortal
Yes, immortal
The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron.
She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before
stepping through the ropes and into the ring. Once in the ring Glory
heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down
slowly...
Sharper: “Glory Braddock will be in some ways a master of her own fate. Will she be defending her title against one or two people and not just that, if Ace wins, think of the shot to the ego.”
Knots: “And that’s the thing. Great she wants to be a defending champion, but Dexter earned the shot. Ace hasn’t-“
Sharper: “Yet.”
Knots: “He could wait!”
An
emergency siren begins to go off, as a black and grey WARNING: EXPLICIT

"ADRENALIZE ME"
The crowd roars as "Adrenalize" begins to play throughout the
arena. Blue and green strobe lights begin spinning over the arena.
The crowd cheers as Ace Marshall steps out on stage with Sophie James
beside him. He raises his arms up at the top of the stage, before casually
strolling down the ramp. Sophie throws back the hood she is wearing and makes a
gesture pointing at Ace in front of a camera as if making a sell's pitch.
Phillips: “Her opponent, making his way to the ring, being accompanied by
Sophie James, hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, ACE MAAARSHALL!"
Ace slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Sophie walks over to the other
side of the ring while smirking as Ace quickly walks over to the corner where
she is before standing on the second turnbuckle. He throws his arms up once
more for the crowd. Dropping down he casually leans back comfortably into the
corner, smiling across the ring.
Sharper: “Ace Marshall asked for it. Let’s see what he can do. He is a former Adrenaline Champion. World Champion.”
Knots: “Yeah, and a pain in the ass. Dexter has found that out. Glory knows from experience.”
Marshall looks at Braddock as the bell sounds. The two step up and Ace moves in as Glory drops down and around and moves into a side headlock. She pulls back as Ace pulls her into the ropes and fires her off. Glory bounces off and Ace shoulders her down. He throws his arms up, cheering before chuckling to himself. Glory looks up and nods before getting up. Ace turns around and wrenches her arm. Glory winces and bends over as Ace elbows her in the shoulder. She then flips forward and bridges up before ducking under and into a side headlock. She then spins around and into a hammerlock. Ace reaches down and pulls Glory down by the leg and goes to turn into a figure four, but Glory takes him over with an inside cradle.

Sharper: “Hard suplex. And Ace just caught Glory there. Out-thought her.”
Knots: “Well yeah, he can get that shot in. Sure. Even once he can get one over Braddock.”
Braddock turns and the camera catches a brief look on her face, showing some annoyance, before turns and Ace knees her in the chest as she gets up. She pops up and Ace chops her. The crowd woos. He chops her again. Braddock hits the ropes and Ace whips her across the ring. Braddock bounces off and Ace lowers her head a moment to soon and Braddock jumps up and hits a backflip down his back. Ace turns around and Braddock hits a dropkick. Ace rolls over and gets up and Braddock kicks him in the ribs. She then goes to whip him into the ropes, but Ace spins through and sends Braddock off. Knots: “Caught Ace with that drop toe hold!”
Sharper: “STF locked in. Ace in trouble here.”
Braddock holds on as Ace reaches around and starts to move toward the ropes. Braddock holds on and Ace uses his strength to move her with him. They slide closer to the ropes, inch by inch. Braddock doesn’t let go and Jericho moves closer and closer and grabs the bottom rope.

She jumps to the middle rope and dives over for a plancha onto Ace, but Ace catches her and then drops down, slamming her on the apron. The crowd ohs. Ace walks around the ringside area. (1)
Sharper: “Oh! The impact! On the apron. Ace caught her!”
Knots: “Jesus. That thud. That impact! Dexter! Keep watching. You’ve got to love this! I mean he won’t tweet about it or anything.”
Ace then runs over and elbows Braddock into the chest. Braddock falls to the floor. (1) Ace walks around the ringside area. Sophie cheers on Ace as Ace grabs Braddock. (2) He then turns and runs her into the steel steps. (3) Ace turns around and walks over to a fan and gives a thumbs up for the fan to take a picture. Ace chuckles and turns back.
Knots: “That’ll set off Dexter. Going for those likes.”
Sharper: “Or maybe Ace is looking to give the fans something-“
Knots: “Yeah, sure.”
Ace grabs Glory. (4) He rolls her into the ring. Ace slides in after. Glory starts to get up and Ace runs over and hits a jumping back elbow to the face. Glory hits the mat. She turns and gets up and Ace grabs her and hits a Saito suplex into a bridge.

Glory kicks out. She rolls over and moves to the ropes. Ace grabs her and pulls her back and then scoops her up for a backbreaker and hits one. He hooks the leg again.

Glory gets her shoulder up.
Sharper: “A couple of quick pins as Ace is just trying to maybe get Glory dazed-“
Knots: “Or realizing she’s taking some damage. She’s got pride, but does she want the title? Every shot could hurt her chances to retain!”
Sharper: “But Ace wants that shot.”
Glory rolls over and Ace grabs her again and shoves her into the ropes. She bounces off and turns and Ace lifts her up onto his shoulders, but Glory elbows out of it. She slides down and then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits a flipping neckbreaker. She hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Ace pushes her off. He rolls over and starts to stir. Glory then elbows him in the back of the head before pulling him back with a reverse DDT. Glory exits to the apron and then climbs up to the top rope. Ace winces as Glory gets to the top rope. She then hits a London Plunge. Glory hooks the leg.

2!
Ace gets his shoulder up.
Sharper: “Nearfall and Ace’s hopes still alive!”
Knots: “Glory driving her head into Ace. Using her head, if you will.”
Sharper: “And she’s getting up. She’s going for the arm!”
Glory gets up and Ace rolls over and Glory goes for the arm, presumably to go for a crossface. Ace however blocks it and then flips forward and boots Glory in the face. Glory staggers back. Ace then starts to get up and Glory runs at Ace and Ace scoops her up and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The crowd ohs. Ace hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Glory gets her shoulder up. Ace rolls over and gets up, moving to the corner. Glory starts to get up and Ace runs at her and clotheslines her down. Glory hits the mat. She gets up and Ace grabs her and whips her into the ropes. Glory bounces off and Ace goes to grab her, but she jumps up and wraps around him before double underhooking him and hits the Beautiful Insanity. She hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Ace shoots his shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Braddock looks up and then starts to look around before moving back to the corner. Ace slowly rolls over.
Sharper: “Another nearfall as Braddock almost put Ace away. But Ace fighting through.”
Knots: “Having a heck of a match here. They’re living in the moment! No matter what Dexter Grant says!”
Ace then starts to get up as Braddock then runs at Ace, but Ace steps forward and hoists her up onto his shoulders. He turns, trying to get her ready for the Straight to DVD, but Braddock’s weight shifts enough that Ace staggers and while turning, Braddock’s feet hit the official in the head. The official goes down and Ace hits the Straight to DVD. Ace falls to his knees and moves to the ropes. As this happens, we see Wendell at ringside, having climbed over the barricade. He comes over to Sophie and gets her attention. Sophie looks at him and Wendell starts to talk to her.
Wendell: “Just have him listen. Dex is not a bad guy. Just-“
The cameras cut to the ring as we see Dexter Grant, running in front of the ring, having come from the crowd himself, but in the process, grabbed the Adrenaline Championship from the timekeeper’s table. He slides in and Ace turns only for Grant to blast him with the title.
Sharper: “Wait! Dexter Grant! He’s got the title! And right to the head! He was waiting for his spot! He saw Ace about to take advantage!”
Knots: “And he made sure Glory took some big moves too. Best case scenario. See! There’s a man who is thinking on many levels!”
The crowd ohs and boos. Sophie turns and Wendell quickly runs off. Grant throws the title down and rolls to the floor.
Grant: “My shot. I earned it. You can watch from home!”
Grant yells into the ring as he backs away. Wendell runs over to him and looks over to Sophie. Sophie then turns as Ace, winces, holding his head, a cut opening up over his eye. He staggers up, half out of it, almost out of instinct as the official starts to get up. The crowd boos loudly as Braddock recovers and sees Ace moving toward her and jumps up and quickly locks in the Shekinah Glory.
Sharper: “Glory must have thought Ace was just getting up from the damage she inflicted. But he’s busted open and Glory with the Shekinah Glory!”
Knots: “Ace already was groggy and…Well…”
Ace tries to fight at first, but quickly starts to lose energy, the impact of the belt shot playing its role. Dexter Grant smiles as he backs up. Wendell looks on as Sophie looks in the ring, clearly trying to consider her options. Braddock keeps the hold on as Ace fades and the official checks his arm. It drops. The official calls for the bell. The crowd roars as Braddock rolls off and turns. Grant and Wendell head to the back. Braddock gets up and winces.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, via referee stoppage, Glory Braddock!”
Sharper: “And Braddock wins. Ace’s hopes for Dusseldorf are dashed!”
Knots: “He can watch at home, or better yet, follow along on social media!”
Sharper: “Dexter Grant finding the moment to strike. And when Braddock finds out, she won’t be pleased.”
Knots: “She should be. It’s one on one!”
Braddock has her arm raised as Sophie checks on Ace and the scene cuts away.

Gavin Taylor vs. Polly Pingotti
SCW Television Championship
The
lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With
Webster starts to play over the arena.
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
See me decked out from my head to my toe
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Everywhere I go I'm a one man show
And the song continues...
The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the
curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms
outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.
Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feel it whoa (whoa)
The more I need it whoa (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the SCW
Television Championship! Making his way to the ring, from Los Angeles,
California, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is The All-Star, Gavin Taylor!!!”
Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the
ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding
onto the top rope.
The song continues...
I cheated to get what I got
Stepped all over you self for my spot
I bet you I'm winning, I bet that you're not
I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught
Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the
opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off
his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.
Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.
Sharper: “Gavin here this week. Was not last time out thanks to the Los Angeles
area wildfires and his home being involved. This is going to be the Television
Championship match we were supposed to have last week.”
Knots: “Hopefully his head will be in it. It’s clear Polly’s will be.”
A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot. A few seconds pass, which is
when an open field is shown up on the SCW tron. A flock of birds rise up from
the tall grass and fly away as the sound of a piano can be heard playing,
leading into the opening of "Bird Set Free" by Sia. The moment the
opening words are heard, Polly steps out from the back and stands at the
forefront on the stage, wearing a knee-high light purple spaghetti-strap dress
with the SCW Television Championship belt wrapped snugly around her waist. She
looks up at the tron to see one straggling bird rise up from the grass all by
its lonesome. Polly admires the one small bird that begins to fly away now too
until Sia reaches the chorus, which is when she turns around as a pair of pyros
goes off on each side of the entranceway. The nearest camera catches her
piercing bright green eyes as she begins to walk down the ramp and down to the
ring.
Jason Phillips: “Making her way to the ring, from Panguitch, Utah, she is the
current SCW Television Champion, happy and free, Polly Pingotti!!!”
Polly does smile but only briefly as she turns her attention to the task at
hand. She can hear the usual mix of cheers and boos, leaning more towards
cheers than boos. She gives one full look around the arena before she slides
into the ring under the bottom rope. Once inside the ring she stands right up,
closes her eyes, and presents a flying motion. She opens her eyes back up and
light on her feet chooses a corner of the ring to wait in. With her arms now
back at her sides, her focus builds as she looks right over at Gavin. She
carefully removes the championship belt from around her waist and holds it up
in the air with her left hand. Gavin admires it as the crowd cheers. Polly then
hands it over to the referee in charge of the matchup. The referee hands it
down to the ringside area before calling for the bell.
Polly makes a gesture with her right pointer finger, silently asking Gavin to
approach her. Gavin actually does so, but then makes a sudden move and is able
to latch his arms around the front of Polly’s head. He goes to apply his
patented hammerlock, cinching it in quickly. The crowd looks to be in shock as
he goes to wrap a leg behind Polly, attempting to trip her up immediately,
however Polly doesn’t allow that to happen. Instead she pushes forward just
enough to make it to the set of ropes which is very near.
Knots: “Oh my gosh! Right off the start Gavin was on his way to locking in the
All-Star Stretch!”
The referee calls for the break as Polly hangs onto the ropes with both hands.
Gavin tries to pull her off, but realizes she isn’t letting go. He lets go and
backs off. Polly partially turns and looks very surprised, but does nod her
head at him. Polly faces him. Gavin goes in and again, but this time Polly is
smart and moves out of the way at the last moment. Gavin comes off the ropes
and Polly is in perfect position to hit a drive-by facebuster. The crowd ohs as
Gavin is planted face first into the mat. Polly quickly scrambles and goes for
the cover.
1!
2!
Gavin kicks out with relative ease.
Sharper: “Almost with a quick pinfall after that submission attempt off the
beginning of the match.”
Knots: “It doesn’t look like either of these two want to work by the hour,
especially Gavin. He must have a lot of things to still handle in L.A. He just
wants to come in here, grab the championship, and go.
Sharper: “Great, if he wins this, he’ll then be known as Mr. Grab-And-Go.”
Knots: “You said it. Not me.”
Polly gets back up and shrugs her shoulders, seemingly thinking as she backs
off. This gives Gavin plenty of time to rise to his feet. He turns. Polly has
her arms out. This time Gavin nods and the two of them tie up in the center of
the ring, both of them trying to gain control, both of them getting behind one
another, only for the other to reverse attempted waist lock holds. It is
finally Gavin that is able to gain a little bit of an advantage as he gets his
arms fully cinched around Polly’s waist. He goes to lift her, but Polly fights
it, keeping her feet planted on the mat. Gavin sets himself a little better,
and then goes to lift her a second time. This time he gets her up and over, but
Polly lands on her feet. Gavin turns, but it’s Polly that now locks her arms
around him. The look in Polly’s green eyes says it all as she actually goes to
execute a belly-to-belly suplex. Gavin tries to stop it in mid-suplex, but is
not able to fully do so. However it does lead to Polly not getting all of the
suplex. When Polly goes down she rolls away. Gavin gets up and goes over to
Polly. Polly goes to get up, but Gavin doesn’t allow it to happen as he locks
her into an abdominal stretch.
Sharper: “I hate to say it, but Gavin is doing quite well here.”
Knots: “He IS The All-Star.”
Polly continues to fight. It looks like she could be weakening some, but from
out of the corner of her right eye, she can see the SCW Television Championship
belt sitting at the timekeeper’s table. Her green eyes almost glow as she
begins to elbow her way out of the predicament she is in. It takes four elbows
before Gavin finally releases. Polly whips around and throws caution to the
wind, spearing herself right into Gavin, driving him into the far set of ropes.
The crowd’s reaction picks up. Gavin looks discombobulated. Polly meanwhile
gets back up and hops up to the nearest top turnbuckle. She points her right pointer
finger to the sky and leaps off with the Bird Set Free. Gavin however moves out
of the way. Polly lands hard and rolls over. She gets up and Gavin then hooks
her up and hits a vertical suplex. He then grabs her again and pulls her up
before whipping her into the ropes. She bounces off only for Gavin to scoops
her up and spin her around into a spinning back suplex. He bridges up.

2!
Polly kicks out. She slaps the mat, probably more frustrated with herself than
anything.
Knots: “He almost got her!”
Sharper: “But she got out of it. I don’t know about you, but ever since she
glanced over to see the SCW Television Championship belt over there, she has
seemed to have awoken. She worked so hard to win success and she obviously
doesn’t want to lose it.”
Knots: “Obviously. But you gotta focus on Gavin!”
Both get to their feet, but Gavin gets there first and quickly positions
himself. Polly turns as the crowd yells out:
Crowd: “GAVIN! TAYLOR! LARIAT!”
Gavin agrees with the crowd, but when he goes for it, it’s Polly who suckers
him this time, stumbling around a little. When Gavin comes to her, Polly
suddenly ducks. Gavin chooses now to bounce himself off the closest set of
ropes. He goes for a roundhouse kick, but Polly catches Gavin’s foot. Gavin
hops around on his one free foot, looking to hit a step-up enzuigiri and catches
Polly. She stumbles to the ropes and then turns around. Gavin gets up and Polly
just turns and hits a Chick Kick right to Gavin’s chin.
Sharper: “That one just found the mark!”
Gavin teeters but doesn’t fall. With him teetering though, Polly again ascends
to the nearest top turnbuckle and this time gets some serious air, on the way
down able to get her legs wrapped around Gavin’s head, taking him down with a
headscissors takeover. The crowd is cheering quite loudly.
Sharper: “Both of them are down now, but Polly is coming slowly to her feet.”
Knots: “I’m sure Gavin probably thinks it’s a win that he got Polly to wrap her
legs around him.”
Sharper: “Jon!”
Knots: “What?”
Sharper: “Never mind.”
Polly again takes one quick glance over at the timekeeper’s table to see the
SCW Television Championship belt shimmering. She gets in position as Gavin now
is groping around, looking to grab something to help him stand fully back up.
Unfortunately for Gavin the things that he finds are Polly’s legs. Polly uses
her hands to grab Gavin by the arms. She shoves his head right between his legs
and simply drops him face first to the mat with the Polly Pop. The crowd ohs as
Polly lays on top of Gavin and hooks up his left leg.

3!!!
The bell rings as “Bird Set Free” by Sia begins to play again.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, and STILL SCW Television Champion… Polly
Pingotti!”
The crowd cheers as Polly stands up. The Television Championship belt is passed
back into the ring. Polly grabs for it and holds it up as high as she can with
her left hand. The crowd shows her appreciation and claps for her. Polly nods and
then rolls out of the ring, beginning to make her exit, getting up to the
stage, where she re-wraps the SCW Television Championship around her waist.
Sharper: “An interesting back and forth between these two, but it’s Polly who
continues her wave of success that she DEFINITELY had to earn.”
One of the ringside cameras switches to catch someone in an Andrew Raynes
hooded sweatshirt hopping the crowd barrier at ringside.
Knots: “Yeah. Who’s this?”
The demeanor in the arena suddenly changes as “Bird Set Free” shuts off as the
figure slides into the ring and grabs at both of Gavin’s feet. He pulls him all
the way out of the ring. This shows up on the SCW tron and Polly sees it. She
throws up her hands in disgust and not having any love lost for the way Gavin
treated her many months ago, she heads off heading to the backstage area.
Meanwhile, the hooded figure tosses Gavin right into the nearest ringpost,
closest to the announce desk. The crowd boos loudly as the figure goes in to
assault further, trying to keep their face covered. “Omnishred” by Powerglove
begins to play and Andrew Raynes comes down the ramp with purpose and runs
right around the side of the ring and plows right into the person that is
wearing the Andrew Raynes hooded sweatshirt. The person gets up and fends for
themselves, both Andrew and the person now coming to a few blows.
Sharper: “That HAS to be Ryan Lyman.”
Knots: “I’d be surprised if it’s not. This certainly isn’t how Simon has been
acting, not as of late anyways.”
Sharper: “Yep.”
Andrew is able to gain control and de-hood the other person, revealing that it
is one of the Lymans. The Lyman in the hoodie suddenly steps on Andrew’s left
foot, enough to get out of Andrew’s crosshairs and hop back over the nearest
crowd barrier. Andrew looks very frustrated.
Knots: “This comes to a head out in Dusseldorf when Andrew and Gavin will have
the opportunity to get their hands on BOTH Lymans.”
Sharper: “Exactly, but who knows what will actually be settled. Definitely
nothing was settled tonight, except for the fact that we can safely assume that
it was Ryan who just got away.”
The camera remains on Andrew as the scene cuts away.

Breakdown returns as we see Polly Pingotti walking through the backstage area. She takes a few steps and walks over to a table where bottles of water are set up. She grabs one and twists off the top. She takes a swig before then dumping some all over her before we hear the sound of slow clapping. Polly looks up as we see Ryan LeCavalier walking over to her.
Polly: “What do you want?”
Ryan: “Can’t I applaud that win out there. That effort?”
Polly: “Given you’ve never cared in the past.”
Ryan: “Not true…just never had a reason to approach you. But with your win, well, I get what I want.”
Polly looks at the Television Championship around her waist.
Ryan: “Exactly. A bit of a change. Defending it at the pay per view I understand. I don’t care. That title…beyond the fact I feel I deserve a shot…it has some deeper meaning for me.”
Polly: “You’re not taking it from me.”
Ryan: “Then stop me. I look forward to seeing you try.”
Polly: “I won’t be trying. I’m not giving this up.”
Ryan: “Optimistic. I like that.”
Ryan smirks as she grabs a bottle of water and heads off. The crowd buzzes as the scene cuts away.
The scene cuts to show Simon Lyman seated in what appears to be a gym, wearing a hoodie for the Blackout Academy. He is leaning on his knees, his hands folded in front of him. He sighs.
Simon: “I…I don’t even know what to say. But another week, another week where Ryan continues to muddy all of the waters. Last week it was as me again, trying to act like I wasn’t ready. For those who haven’t heard, he’s trying to get a new partner. He wants to change that. I’m going to bring him down. Yeah…been pretending to be me for a year and a half…he knows what may happen when I get in the ring with him. Or at least what I hope happens.”
Simon pauses.
Simon: “But Andrew Raynes may stop all of that. He hates all Lymans. He doesn’t care if Ryan’s being me or vice-versa or what the truth is. He’s on the war path. I’m sorry I couldn’t stop him earlier. Especially with what he’s done to people I loved…”
Simon sighs again.
Simon: “Gavin, thank you for trying to stand by me. I know it’s frustrating. I know you want to do the right thing. Andrew may not let you. Ryan makes it hard.”
Simon stops, looking forward.
Simon: “All I know is I need to be ready to fight. To stand for myself. To try and help the truth somehow get free. CHBK hasn’t made it easy. I didn’t realize how frustrated he had become through this. Him and I never had the best relationship and we’ve had our personal issues. I thought may they could be moved on from. But…I….”
Simon closes his eyes.
Simon: “This will be my first wrestling match since 2017. Since I retired. I know many of you won’t believe me. You swear Ryan has been me. Maybe I’m Ryan and trying to manipulate you. I don’t know how to make you believe. Gavin knows part of the story. I’m trying to make it right with others. But it seems I can’t hide in the shadows. It’s why I showed up when I did and attacked my brother. It’s why I’ve tried to stand up to his manipulations. But it’s clear he’s gotten too good. I will fight for myself. And for the truth. And I’ll admit I am a bit scared. Again, 2017 – seven and a half years ago was my last match. And I have to hope it comes back in a body that may not always agree with that.”
Simon looks up at the camera.
Simon: “But I’m going to try. And for Andrew, I hope you realize the truth. To Gavin, I hope I can make some amends for what my brother has put you through. To Ryan…I will end your charade somehow and restore respect to my name. It may not be pretty, but nothing her has been. It just needs to simply…be right.”
Simon sighs again.
Simon: “Back to training.”
Simon reaches forward, turning off the camera. The scene cuts to black before the Breakdown logo comes across the screen.
We cut backstage as we see Adam Brock with CHBK.
CHBK: “Look, we’re not doing this. You’re staying back here. Clyde is getting the same speech.”
Brock: “Look, I just wanted to do the right thing. I hate bullies.”
CHBK: “Well you’re in this and I know how you think. I’ve seen it. I know you’d think it’s cheeky because I didn’t mention you. But I did now.”
Brock: “No fun at all.”
We then see Clyde Sutter coming into view. Dean Black is with him.
Sutter: “Oh isn’t this cute? Well, what’s being talked about here.”
Brock: “How I’m going to kick your ass in Germany!”
Sutter: “I’m being paid good money to make sure you make Germany your new permanent home.”
Brock: “Try it.”
CHBK: “Back off! Both of you. You’re here, Clyde, because you’re getting the same message I just gave Brock. You are not to get involved in the next match.”
Sutter: “Or what?”
Melinda Braddock, who is with Clyde Sutter, smirks.
CHBK: “I void your contract using one of the clauses that is in there. We’re still in your first 90 days back. And you, Adam. I don’t know if I really need to say something. But if you respect Amelia, you’ll stay back here.”
Brock puts his hands on his hips and looks at Sutter.
Brock: “I think I’ll stay right here watching him.”
Sutter: “We can just settle it now.”
CHBK: “No!...Dean…”
Black: “Come on.”
Black motions to Sutter and Sutter just chuckles before turning to Melinda.
Sutter: “Not worth it to risk a job.”
Sutter walks off as Brock watches him leave.
Sharper: “Amelia Nevado faces Waylon Creek to determine the advantage in Tactical Warfare! Next!”
The scene cuts away.

Amelia Nevado vs. Waylon Creek
Winner gives team at Dogfight in Dusseldorf the advantage in Tactical Warfare
“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Nevado makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. The SCW World Tag Team Championship belt is around her waist. After a moment of this, Amelia slowly unfolds her hands and runs them along her mask, a smile slowly coming to her face.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with TV time remaining and is your main event of the evening. The winner of this match will give their team the man advantage in Tactical Warfare at Dogfight in Dusseldorf! First, on her way to the ring, from Oxford, England, she is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, she is Amelia Nevado!”
With this, she proceeds to head down to the ring, her look growing more determined and battle-ready the closer she gets. Once she reaches ringside, Amelia climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and the mask, giving the latter a quick kiss before she sets them both in her corner. She hands off the World Tag Team Championship too.
Sharper: “Amelia Nevado out here alone. If you are just joining us, this match will also have the added stipulation that neither team can get involved. They cannot be at ringside. This will be determined solely through Nevado and Creek.”
Knots: “And Heaven made it clear earlier – Amelia has the weight of everything on her. She can give her team a fighting chance or she can make it a long slow bout of torture.”
Sharper: “I think Mr. Heaven is overhyping his group if you ask me. They may be experienced. They may be powerful, but they are not invincible.”
The sound and image of a babbling brook overtake the PA and screen. Shortly after, a man dressed in a suit flickers onto the screen, standing in the middle of the creek, facing away from the camera. “Mountain Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens comes over the system, and from hehind curtain emerges a muscular figure in a skull mask, adorned by torn up flannels, being led by a black lab on a leash.
Phillips: “Her opponent, from Good Grief, Idaho, representing the Fall of Man, he is Waylon Creek!”
The dog leads the way as Waylon Creek follows close behind, looking around the arena. He hands the dog off to a stage hand when he gets to the ring and appears to say something to the dog. The dog sits calmly as Creek enters the ring up the steps. He calmly goes to his corner without any posing.
Knots: “Is Legion allowed to be out here?”
Sharper: “Don’t start. Don’t trivialize this.”
Knots: “I’m not! I’m asking. I don’t want to see Amelia and Luz collapse under the weight of the stress I know they’re putting on themselves here.”
Sharper: “They’re going to be fine. They have fought through so much. But this will be a tall order. Waylon Creek has never been pinned or submitted, nor has he been defeated in a one on one match.”
Creek looks at Amelia as Amelia takes a deep breath. Creek doesn’t show any sign of response. The bell sounds. Creek steps out and starts to move toward Amelia. Amelia backs up to the corner. Creek then lunges and goes for a hard right. Amelia ducks and spins around. Creek turns around and Amelia hits a European uppercut before a forearm before Creek goes for a hard right. Amelia ducks. He goes for a left. She ducks again and hits another European uppercut. She then turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Creek goes to grab her, but Amelia ducks under and around, moving to a waistlock. Creek however blocks it and drills her with a elbow to the jaw. Amelia falls back and to the ropes. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Hard back elbow. Creek caught her in the jaw.”
Knots: “Amelia has an idea of how to work him over, but that’s the problem. He gets you, and you’re going flying.”
Amelia gets up and Creek grabs her and clubs her in the back. Amelia drops down and rolls over. She gets back up and Creek clubs her again. She drops to the mat. She rolls over and moves to the corner and Creek heads over and nails her with a hard right to the stomach and then another and another. He then grabs her and looks around before hitting a huge beal out of the corner. Amelia rolls through to the corner. Creek turns and runs after her, but Amelia moves out of the way. Creek goes chest first and staggers back and Amelia hits a jumping dropkick. Creek staggers. She gets up and hits another dropkick. She then gets up and runs across the ring. She bounces off and Creek steps up. Amelia goes to slide between his legs, but Creek catches her. The crowd roars. Creek then lifts her up to her feet. He then hoists her up, but Amelia manages to lean forward and into a sunset flip.

Sharper: “Just powering her up.”
Knots: “Well he would know a military press.”
Sharper: “And gravity is undefeated folks.”
