Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Waylon Creek, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

 

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

 

Sharper: “We are in 2025 and SCW is on the air where we look forward to what will come, and celebrate what happened in the year before!”

 

The cameras continue to pan the crowd before ring announcer Jason Phillips is heard.

 

Phillips: “Please welcome at this time, the SCW COO, the man you know as the SCW Hall of Famer, the Canadian Heartbreak Kid…Alex Desoubrais!”

 

The crowd roars as “This is How A Heart Breaks” by Rob Thomas plays. Spotlights circle the arena before we see CHBK walk out from the back. He looks out at the crowd, microphone in his hand. He pauses as his music fades out. He then starts to speak.

 

CHBK: “First off, before I begin, I hope you all are having a Happy New Year. SCW is happy to be here, in 2025, and we continue to grow year by year with the best wrestling on the planet.”

 

The crowd cheers as CHBK pauses.

 

CHBK: “And while tonight, we will see what will happen in SCW next, we will also be celebrating the year that was…See, tonight, here on Breakdown, we will reveal the End of the Year award winners. The people who made 2024 a year to remember.”

 

The crowd applauds.

 

CHBK: “And we will make sure that we recognize those plaudits. And I have the honour to be the man who will be personally revealing the award winners. As I oversee the roster, the direction of SCW, I feel I personally should get involved. A change from the past, but one where we will recognize things directly. And the fans helped vote for these awards too. And I start tonight by recognizing, first, the Rookie of the Year.”

 

CHBK pauses.

 

CHBK: “Now, this is not to say someone is in their first year of the business. But instead, who had the best first year in SCW.”

 

CHBK pauses.

 

CHBK: “And I’m starting with this for a reason. Because regardless of how this man has acted, the fact is that no one can deny what he accomplished in SCW. No one can deny that he will be someone to watch in 2025 and the only person who may stop him is he himself.”

 

Knots: “Who is it?!”

 

CHBK pauses.

 

CHBK: “Your 2024 Rookie of the Year is Waylon Creek!”

 

The crowd roars and then a very mixed reaction comes from the crowd. “Mountain Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens plays. We then see Waylon Creek walk out from the back and look at CHBK. The crowd makes more noise before we then see William Heaven walk out from the back, a smirk on his face. James Evans saunters out after him as Billy Heaven Jr. struts out after each of them.

 

Sharper: “Well I cannot deny Waylon Creek’s 2024.”

 

Knots: “The only reason he’s not holding SCW gold right now is because he was stripped of the title because of him driving that ambulance during Fatal Fortunes.”

 

Sharper: “And it’s gotten him into some trouble. Charges, I believe, have been pressed on him for that act.”

 

Waylon Creek walks over to CHBK and just stands by him. CHBK watches him as William Heaven walks over and leans over. He grabs CHBK’s hand and lifts it up to his mouth.

 

Heaven: “Was there anyone else that was worthy?”

 

CHBK looks at Heaven.

 

Heaven: “This man has been dominant. His shoulders have not yet been pinned to the mat. The only way people can stop him is if he’s not involved in the fall or…fate…gets involved.”

 

Heaven looks at CHBK, looking right at his eyes.

 

Heaven: “Right, fate…”

 

Billy Heaven Jr. then leans in.

 

Billy Jr.: “Don’t worry, pops. I got Adonis tonight. I’ll make him scream like a bitch and then take his baddies and leave him with nothing.”

 

Heaven: “You better, son.”

 

Billy Jr.: “Don’t worry. Chill. Just like we’re the Rookie of the Year!”

 

Heaven: “You are not. Waylon is-“

 

Billy Jr.: “This aint like my Trios contract.”

 

Heaven: “That’s different. Now, son…step back.”

 

James jerks Billy back. Heaven turns back to CHBK as Creek continues to bore a hole in CHBK’s skull, glaring at him.

 

Heaven: “Now, we have plans tonight, but I have a feeling that you aren’t done giving us what we deserve. Waylon here may be the Rookie of the Year, as the award is titled…but we all know what he really is. The Star of Tomorrow…”

 

The crowd roars. CHBK looks at Heaven and then Creek. CHBK then motions to him to let him speak. Heaven lets go of his arm.

 

CHBK: “Actually…the fans did not vote that honour on him.”

 

The crowd roars as Creek takes a deep breath, showcasing his annoyance. Heaven just scoffs and shakes his head.

 

Heaven: “Is this another round of fate? Who could possibly have gotten that honour over the future of SCW for what is foreseeable?!”

 

CHBK: “Seems like someone else caught their eye…And Waylon knows her….The Lost Monarch, Ryan LeCavalier!”

 

The crowd roars as Creek turns to the entrance way as “Sun Killer” by Spiritbox plays. The crowd cheers and after a few moments, Ryan LeCavalier walks out from the back. She takes a few steps as James Evans whispers something to Heaven. Heaven turns to Creek and motions for him to go. Creek, however, focuses on LeCavalier. The two lock eyes as she walks forward. LeCavalier just smirks as the crowd roars.

 

Heaven: “Come on Waylon….Waylon!”

 

Heaven finally gets Creek’s attention as Evans even moves over. Creek then steps past Ryan LeCavalier. She turns, pivoting on her feet, to avoid breaking eye contact. Evans, Creek, Heaven Jr. and Heaven then start to leave. CHBK walks over to LeCavalier. LeCavalier turns to him. He goes to shake her hand, but LeCavalier just waves him off.

 

The scene cuts to ringside and the announce position where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit.

 

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Congratulations to Waylon Creek and Ryan LeCavalier.”

 

Knots: “Did you see that tension? Creek and LeCavalier already have had some notable matches and they continue to be linked!”

 

Sharper: “They are. Meanwhile, welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots. And we have a big night tonight. All of the awards to be given out, but a lot of good in-ring action too.”

 

Knots: “Yeah. How about this – Blake Mason and Ace Marshall in that ring, one on one. And if that’s not enough. Dexter Grant is going to look to disconnect Kimberly Williams!”

 

Sharper: “Along with that, will we see The Enigma return. He’s allowed to be here for one night only. It’s one night to give Kirsten Scott her opportunity to challenge him. But Kirsten Scott will be in action.”

 

Knots: “But that’s not all. Xander Valentine is here. Konrad Raab is here. And I think it’s going to get violent. Oh yeah. Big night tonight!”

 

Sharper: “What is going to happen tonight, folks?”

 

The cameras start to pan across the crowd.

 

Sharper: “We’ll be back in moments. TV Title on the line to kick us off in the ring in 2025!”

 

The scene fades out.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as we see Konrad Raab exiting his locker room. He glances back, turning to Ginny.

 

Konrad: “Come on. Dakon! Ludvig!”

 

Konrad starts to walk forward, Ginny, Ludvig and Dakon all leaving with him. He only gets a few steps forward before he’s met by CHBK, Dean Black and Lucas Knight.

 

Konrad: “Not the time-“

 

CHBK: “You’re going to make it. I know exactly what you’re planning, Konrad and I’m not going to let the backstage area turn into a warzone. Officials are watching you and watching Xander. This tit for tat…not going to get more chaotic!”

 

CHBK, Knight and Black then head off as Raab looks around before noticing a couple of SCW officials stepping forward. Raab looks around annoyed as we cut away.

 

Gigi Steward vs. Polly Pingotti

SCW Television Championship

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW Television Championship!”

The SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen. “That's My Girl” plays throughout the arena as the stage and video screen goes dark. Gigi’s video plays on the screen and she steps out on to the stage wearing a black leather jacket with tiny metal spikes on it and also a bandana covering her face. She walks up to the center of the stage and stretches her arms out embracing the fans' support for her. She begins to march to the walk to the ring walking with a purpose.

Phillips: “Introducing first, the challenger; from Los Angeles, California, she is the Princess of Wrestling… Gigi Steward!”

She gets to ringside and rushes into the ring rolling inside. She marches to the corner and hops on the middle ropes and throws out her own hand sign to the fans. She then rips off the bandana and tosses it into the crowd. Gigi hops off the ropes and takes off her jacket setting it aside for ring crew to pick up and she gets ready for her match.

Sharper: “A new year, and a new chance for Gigi Steward to prove herself on her own, something you know she’s getting tired of eluding her.”

Knots: “She’s been putting forth an incredible effort time and time again, and you know she can pull it off if her and Katie’s Tag Title reign last year was any indication. The problem has been trying to make it happen on her own!”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot.  A few seconds pass, which is when an open field is shown up on the SCW tron.  A flock of birds rise up from the tall grass and fly away as the sound of a piano can be heard playing, leading into the opening of "Bird Set Free" by Sia.  The moment the opening words are heard, Polly steps out from the back and stands at the forefront on the stage, the SCW Television Title around her waist.  She looks up at the tron to see one straggling bird rise up from the grass all by its lonesome.  Polly admires the one small bird that begins to fly away now too until Sia reaches the chorus, which is when she turns around as a pair of pyros goes off on each side of the entranceway.  The nearest camera catches her piercing bright green eyes as she begins to walk down the ramp and down to the ring.

Phillips: “And her opponent, hailing from Panguitch, Utah, she is the SCW Television Champion… Polly Pingotti!”

Polly does smile but only briefly as she turns her attention to the task at hand.  She can hear the usual mix of cheers and boos, leaning more towards cheers than boos.  She gives one full look around the arena before she slides into the ring under the bottom rope.  Once inside the ring she stands right up, closes her eyes, and presents a flying motion.  She opens her eyes back up and light on her feet chooses a corner of the ring to wait in. She hands the Television Title over to referee Jennifer Cassidy, who holds it high for the crowd to see.

Sharper: “Polly winning the Television Title during Fatal Fortunes after Waylon Creek was stripped of it, and so far she’s done an incredible job of stepping up and fighting to keep that title around her waist.”

Knots: “Polly knows a good run with this title could be the boost she’s been looking for, especially heading into a brand new year.”

The bell rings and both women lock up in the center of the ring, neither one gaining a clear advantage for a moment before Gigi manages to back Polly up against the ropes. Gigi breaks the lockup with a kick to the midsection before she irish whips Polly into the ropes. Polly rebounds, but hooks her arms under the top rope to stop herself from running right into a dropkick attempt. She charges in and tries to clothesline a rising Gigi, but Gigi manages to duck underneath and roll Polly up in a schoolgirl pin!

Jennifer Cassidy’s hand just hits the mat for the two count as Polly kicks out! Gigi is to her feet first and closes the distance, but Polly stuns her with a chick kick!

Sharper: “Fast and furious start to this match as Polly gains the upper hand off Gigi’s near-fall.”

Knots: “It’s easy to see already just how badly both women want the win and the title.”

Gigi starts to pull herself back to her feet, but Polly runs off the ropes adjacent to her and spins through into a sitout facebuster! She rolls Gigi over and goes for a pin.

Gigi kicks out! Polly pulls Gigi to her feet and backs her into the corner, battering her with forearms to keep her stunned. She grabs Gigi’s wrist and tries to pull her out of the corner into a short-arm clothesline, but Gigi ducks underneath and pulls Polly into a backslide pin!

Polly kicks out! As she rolls through to get back to her feet, Gigi catches her with a dropkick, sending her back to the mat and rolling out to the floor.

Sharper: “Gigi’s veteran instincts and flash pins are starting to keep Polly off-balance here.”

Knots: “It’s still early in this match, but let’s not forget that Gigi’s pulled off some crazy upsets out of nowhere with those quick pins before. She’s keeping Polly on her toes as Television Champion.”

Polly takes a moment to catch her breath and slow the pace down as Jennifer Cassidy begins counting her out. She only gets up to three before Polly slides back into the ring. Gigi tries to catch her with another dropkick, but Polly throws a dropkick of her own to block it! They both get back to their feet and Gigi is the first to move in, grabbing Polly for a DDT, but Polly manages to push Gigi back into the corner before freeing herself and pulling her into the short-arm clothesline! Polly reaches down to pull Gigi back to her feet, but Gigi rolls and grabs the bottom rope, forcing Jennifer Cassidy to step in and ask Polly to back off, which she does after a brief bit of hesitation.

Sharper: “Gigi showing a bit more of those veteran instincts, using the ropes to force a moment to catch her breath.”

Knots: “You can tell how badly Polly wants to stay on her, though. She is hellbent on finally proving herself with this title reign.”

Gigi uses the ropes to pull herself to her feet as Polly eyes her carefully. Once she’s back up, Gigi tries to surprise Polly with a forearm strike, but Polly ducks underneath it before catching Gigi as she turns with another chick kick! Gigi hits the mat and Polly steps out onto the apron before climbing to the top turnbuckle, taking a moment to measure Gigi before diving off with a top rope splash! Polly hooks the leg.

Gigi kicks out!

Sharper: “Big splash from the top by Polly, but she only gets two!”

Knots: “Polly got some hangtime there!”

Polly takes a moment to look up at Jennifer Cassidy, almost as if she’s stunned she only got two, but the referee confirms it. She takes a deep breath to recompose herself before she starts climbing to the top turnbuckle again. She starts to measure Gigi, but whatever she has in mind is cut off as Gigi suddenly springs to life and sweeps Polly’s leg out from under her, causing her to land hard on the top turnbuckle! The fans audibly groan at the landing as Gigi takes a moment to shake off the cobwebs before she climbs to the top now, positioning Polly before she takes her off with a big hurricanrana! Feeding off the adrenaline, Gigi pulls herself back to her feet and, instead of going for a cover, quickly climbs to the top again, measuring Polly before she leaps off with a frog splash! She hooks the leg.

Polly gets a shoulder up! Now Gigi is the one looking stunned and getting confirmation from Jennifer Cassidy about the count.

Sharper: “Gigi managing to find her second wind and turns Polly’s high-risk efforts against her, but it’s not enough!”

Knots: “Gigi’s hungry, you can see it in her eyes, but she’s going to have to dig a little deeper to keep Polly down!”

Gigi slowly rises in the corner, measuring Polly as she slowly starts to get back to her feet. Once she’s up enough, Gigi rushes in and goes for the Nirvana, but Polly avoids it! Gigi crashes to the mat as Polly backs up to create some space, measuring her challenger. Gigi starts to slowly rise and Polly rushes in, looking for The Head Turner, but Gigi suddenly rushes to meet her and catches her with a huge running knee to the face! The fans are on their feet as both women are down.

Sharper: “Incredible knee from Gigi, but she’s unable to capitalize on it!”

Knots: “Hard to blame her given how these two have been going at it in this thing, but that could still prove costly!”

Both women slowly pull themselves to their feet before Gigi retains the upper hand with a forearm to the face, only for Polly to respond in kind. Gigi connects with another forearm, but Polly retaliates with one of her own, followed by another one. She goes for yet another one, but Gigi ducks it and runs off the ropes, looking for that running knee again, but this time Polly sidesteps it! Gigi hits the mat and tries to scramble back to her feet, but Polly quickly runs off the adjacent ropes and this time catches her with The Head Turner! She goes for the cover and hooks the leg.

Gigi gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Polly only able to get two off The Head Turner!”

Knots: “What I said about Gigi earlier applies to Polly too! Who’s going to dig deeper and be the first to figure out that killshot?”

Polly grabs Gigi and pulls her up enough to place her head between her legs, looking for the Polly Pop. Gigi, however, falls to her knees, seemingly from the exhaustion. Polly hauls her back up, but as she goes for it, Gigi manages to backdrop her way out of it! Polly, however, manages to land on her feet and quickly uses the momentum to climb to the top of the nearby turnbuckles, but Gigi manages to stun her with a hard forearm to the side of the head before she’s set! Gigi grabs Polly, looking to hit a rope hung version of the I.D.U. perhaps, but Polly manages to swing her elbow down and catch Gigi right between the eyes to free herself! Gigi stumbles away, clutching at her forehead, giving Polly time to reset before she dives off and connects with the Bird Set Free! Fueled by the cheers of the fans, Polly rolls through and quickly hauls Gigi into position before planting her with the Polly Pop! She goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

The bell rings as "Bird Set Free" by Sia hits again. Referee Jennifer Cassidy retrieves the Television Title before handing it to a rising Polly, raising her arm in victory.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and STILL SCW Television Champion… Polly Pingotti!”

Sharper: “Gigi brought the fight here tonight, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to get a singles title around her waist.”

Knots: “2025 not starting off the way you know Gigi would’ve wanted it to. Polly, on the other hand, making a nice statement to kick off this new year of SCW action!”

Polly takes a moment to skip around the ring, holding the Television Title high in celebration. She pauses as she and a recovering Gigi lock eyes, and Polly nods in acknowledgment to her. Gigi nods back but clearly looks frustrated and disappointed in herself. She rolls out of the ring, though, letting Polly have her moment in the spotlight to celebrate the successful title defense.

 

COMMERCALS

 

Breakdown returns as we see Jaina Lancaster standing with Ace Marshall and Sophie James backstage.

 

Jaina: “Welcome back to Breakdown. I’m here with Ace Marshall and Ace, you wanted some time. You’re facing Blake Mason later tonight-“

 

Ace: “Damn right I am and frankly, with the amount of money that he has, I’m pretty sure there will be a hit on me. Or he’ll pay someone to attack me. Maybe Kennedy’s around? Or Cass? Or Shawn? Who else have I pissed off?”

 

Sophie: “Maybe he’ll see if he can pay off God. Then again, is Adam around? Don’t trust any drinks from him.”

 

Ace: “Never again.”

 

Jaina: “The point?”

 

Ace: “Oh, yeah…the point is that I have lots of plans. Big plans. Super big plans. Or something. And with Blake, well, I figure that there’s an opportunity to also put my new year’s resolution in action!”

 

Jaina: “Which is?”

 

Ace: “A couple of years ago, there was a night most people knew has Kimberly William’s Wet Dream. Someone else saw it as the apocalypse and since then, the world has hated her. But Selena…or Your Majesty as I’m gonna call her…we could’ve been great champions. Oh well, but tonight, we’re on the same side. The right side of history, because screw Blake Mason. And so, tonight, fans, TRUE BELIEVERS….get up. Stand up. Show the SCW Universe that you want your Snow Queen to come out to humble Blake Mason again. Hashtag Save Ace Selena Mommy! Let’s get that trending. Make sure it’s number one in the world. Tell your friends, Make sure that people just tweet it even if they don’t know what it means. We need engagement. We need to get her attention. And we need it! I need it. SAVE ACE SELENA MOMMY!”

 

Ace Marshall smirks and heads off as Sophie steps forward.

 

Sophie: “Don’t forget to tweet it out now, Jaina. I know you have a following.”

 

Sophie winks and walks off as the scene cuts away.

 

Chase Upshaw vs. Crystal Zdunich

 

Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!  Introducing first, CHASE UPSHAW!

 

“United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama,

Haiti, Jamaica, Peru,

Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean,

Greenland, El Salvador, too.”

 

(Nations of the World by Rob Paulson plays. Chase Upshaw makes his way onto the stage shouting and cursing as loud as he can. The camera and microphones catch some of the curse words, causing the networks to bleep him out.)

 

“Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela,

Honduras, Guyana, and still,

Guatemala, Bolivia, then Argentina,

And Ecuador, Chile, Brazil.”

 

(Chase starts to march his way down to the ring, flipping off a few fans along the way and mocking their complete and total lack of Geography knowledge.)

 

“Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua, Bermuda,

Bahamas, Tobago, San Juan,

Paraguay, Uruguay, Suriname,

And French Guiana, Barbados, and Guam.”

 

(Chase Upshaw slides into the ring and prepares for the match to begin.)

 

Phillips: And his opponent, CRYSTAL ZDUNICH!

 

The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal's voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.

 

"YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!"

 

As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros.

 

Smile Bomb by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red haired "Burning Rose" Crystal Zdunich walks from the curtains. She makes their way to the ring. Crystal is focused as she walks to the ring with a purpose. She however slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way. She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside she kips up to her feet. She tosses her Shoto inspired hoodie to the floor as she awaits the start of the match. Crystal is locked in a trance.

 

Sharper: “Crystal Zdunich hoping to start off 2025 on the right foot.”

 

Knots: “Did she have a geography test in her future?”

 

Chase Upshaw reaches into his pants and produces a map.  He shoves it in Crystal’s face.

 

Chase Upshaw: SHOW ME WHERE UZBEKISTAN IS ON THE MAP!

 

Crystal shrugs and then delivers a legsweep, taking Upshaw down.  Crystal hits the ropes and delivers a running dropkick to Chase’s face.  She delivers a standing moonsault for a quick cover.

 

1…Kickout!

 

Crystal hits the ropes and comes back with a tilt-a-whirl arm drag.  She hits the ropes again and then connects with a tilt-a-whirl-head scissors.  Crystal with an enziguri drops Chase.  She then connects with a standing dropkick that sends him tumbling to the outside.

 

Sharper: “And Zdunich not interested in Upshaw’s insanity.”

 

Knots: “It’s not insanity. People need to know the world!”

 

Crystal with a suicide dive over the top wiping out Chase.  Crystal approaches Chase to follow up but he delivers a drop toe hold, sending her face first onto the steel steps.  Chase pauses to regain his composure before taking Crystal and rolling her back into the ring.  He immediately slides back into the ring as well where he delivers a North American Suplex and he floats over into an Atlantic Ocean Ankle Lock.

 

Chase Upshaw: ON WHAT CONTINENT CAN YOU FIND UZBEKISTAN?!

 

Sharper: “He won’t stop!”

 

Knots: “This is that new geography. It’s like the new math, but the pain is built right in!”

 

Crystal struggles in the hold but won’t give in.  Eventually she does reach the bottom ropes to force a break.  Chase stays on the attack, pulling her to her feet and dropping her with The Florida Peninsula Pump Handle Slam.  He locks in The Saskatchewan Knee Bar.

 

Sharper: “And Upshaw continues to work over Zdunich’s leg.”

 

Knots: “It’ll all hurt. Thank God he is not doing biology or anatomy!”

 

Again Crystal refuses to give up, all the while Chase continues to shout nonsensically about Uzbekistan.  Eventually Crystal reaches the ropes to force the break.  Upshaw drags her back out to the center of the ring and tries to lock in the hold again but Crystal counters with a small package…

Chase pops back up, stunned that he was nearly pinned. Chase responds quickly with an Australian Outback Arm Drag, a Russian Knee Strike, and finally a South African Superkick.  He covers…

Sharper: “And Zdunich struggling here as Upshaw is just staying aggressive.”

 

Knots: “This makes sure no one is left behind, Sharper!”

 

Chase whips her into the ropes.  Crystal responds with a tilt a whirl into a ddt.  Crystal with a springboard dropkick.  She goes for a springboard moonsault but Upshaw gets his knees up at the last minute!  She struggles to get back to her feet.  Chase drills her with the Arctic Circle Spin Kick!  He pulls Crystal up and drops her with a Pacific Ocean Piledriver.  Immediately he goes over and leans over the ropes to shout at Sharper and Knots.

 

Chase Upshaw: THAT PILEDRIVER WAS LEGAL BECAUSE IT WAS A PACIFIC OCEAN PILEDRIVER!

 

Sharper: “And spiking her. A Pacific Ocean Piledriver.”

 

Knots: “Driving her as deep as Mariana’s Trench?!”

 

Chase turns his attention back to Crystal.  He follows up by locking the Mariana Trench Trap Lock.  Crystal has no choice but to tap out. The bell sounds.

 

Phillps: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, CHASE UPSHAW!

 

Upshaw lets go and gets up. He has his arm raised as he looks around and smiles.

 

We see shots of Team Desire celebrating with the World Tag Team Championship before showing Josh Hudson standing tall in the ring with Bree Lancaster, holding the SCW World Championship, and then showing David Striker diving over the top rope and onto Kimberly Williams, before showing Xander Valentine chokeslamming Kandis.

 

“The Match of 2024…”

 

The scene opens up at Taking Hold of the Flame where we see Xander Valentine walking down to the ring. He hops onto the apron. Next, we see Selena Frost standing on the stage, looking around, World Championship over her shoulder. We then see both in the ring.

 

Sharper: “Selena Frost already has put her fingerprints on the main event of Rise to Greatness. If she can get past Xander Valentine, she will face Josh Hudson at Rise to Greatness XXI.”

 

Knots: “And she has demanded our host, Lucas Knight, make sure this match is one on one. She is putting SCW’s reputation on the line here and clearly getting more creative. She doesn’t trust CHBK to do what she wants him to do!”

 

We then cut to shots of Selena Frost locking in a side headlock followed by Xander kneeing Selena in the ribs and then hitting a hip toss before hitting a back elbow, knocking Selena down. We then see Selena attempting the Defying Gravity, but Xander dodges and the two lock eyes.

 

Knots; “Going for the knock out blow!”

 

Sharper: “Selena showed that footage. Defying Gravity caught Xander and Xander couldn’t defend. A stunning quick loss years ago. Not tonight.”

 

We then see Selena diving through the ropes onto Xander, but Xander catches her in a double choke and then throws her overhead into the entrance way. We cut to see shots of Xander slamming Selena back first into the ringpost before showing Selena hitting a dropkick to Xander’s leg before showing her hitting a hard kick to the chest and then a shoot kick to Xander’s head. We see Selena attempting a pin only for Xander to shove her off.

 

We follow up with a shot of Xander drilling Selena with a hard clothesline before showing Xander catching Selena and hitting a northern lights suplex. This is followed by shots of Selena fighting back before showing her hitting a DDT on Xander and then knocking Xander into the announce tables with a sliding dropkick. We then see Selena hitting a vaulting press, landing on the back of Xander on the floor. We follow up with a shot of Selena hitting a missile dropkick before showing Xander kicking out. We then see Selena jumping up onto the shoulders of Xander only for him to counter with an electric chair drop. We then see him hitting a couple of sidewalk slams on Selena before then powerbombing her. This is followed by shots of Selena fighting back, hitting an Alaskan Dragonrana on Xander. This is followed by a tornado DDT and another kick out from Xander.

 

We cut forward to show Xander hitting a brainbuster on Selena before then going for the pin. Selena kicks out. We then see Xander hitting a boxing combination on Selena before we suddenly see Selena drilling Xander with the Glass Shard.

 

Sharper: “Glass Shard! She got all of it!”

 

Knots: “Xander may be done! He may be out! Selena got that superkick off!”

 

We then see Xander kicking out. Selena looks sunned before we see Selena and Xander fighting on the floor before showing her going for another Glass Shard, this time, Xander ducks and Selena blasts a fan in the face.

 

Sharper: “My God! Selena was going to take Xander’s head off.”

 

Knots: “And one fan here in London just got a hell of a payday!”

 

We see officials, including Lucas Knight, running down to check on the fan. We cut to see Xander hitting the Martial Bane on Selena on the apron. He rolls Selena into the ring before we see Kandis now at ringside. Officials try to stop her, but Kandis pulls free and runs to the floor. She enters the ring, only for Xander to boot her in the face.

 

Sharper: “Kandis! Looking for revenge from earlier! From the battle royal!”

 

Knots: “Lucas left her with the help and Kandis nearly got in. But Xander…what the hell are you doing?”

 

Sharper: “She had to be gunning for Selena, but Xander Valentine doesn’t want to win that way. He has Selena down! He has her hurt.”

 

We then see Xander chokeslam Kandis before showing Xander rushing Selena. Selena hits the corner and then falls back. SCW official Aaron Demitra returns to the ring as Xander hoists Selena up for the Valhalla has Fallen. But Selena fights and manages to grab his arm and move into position before locking in the Devil’s Gate.

 

Sharper: “Selena Frost locking in the Devil’s Gate. Xander had her back up, but she locked it in. And now…”

 

Knots: “He’s fading! Xander’s fading!”

 

Sharper: “Selena…with the Devil’s Gate…”

Demitra checks again. Selena snaps at him as Selena keeps the hold on. Demitra checks a third time before then calling for the bell. The bell sounds. The crowd boos loudly as Selena lets go and falls back, relieved.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via referee stoppage, and STILL SCW World Champion, Selena Frost!”

 

Knots: “She choked him out.”

 

Sharper: “By the skin of her teeth. Xander had her and she managed to shift her weight…and somehow lock in that hold.”

 

Knots: “You could’ve taken the help Xander!”

 

Sharper: “Selena Frost still the World Champion. And she goes on to main event Rise to Greatness for the fourth time in a row as champion!”

 

Xander Valentine is down on the mat as Kandis grabs at the ring apron.

 

Kandis: “[Bleep]ing idiot! You [bleep]ing idiot!”

 

Kandis is now being held back by officials, as she glares at Selena. Selena just smiles as she remains down on the mat. Xander is on his back. Demitra places the World Championship on Selena’s waist. She grabs it and smiles again, almost laughing as pyro then shoots out around the opening in the roof and across the brace.

 

“The Match of 2024 – Xander Valentine vs. Selena Frost at Taking Hold of the Flame 2024.”

 

The scene fades to black.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

We cut back to ringside where we see Philips in the ring with microphone in hand.

 

Philips: “And now, making his SCW debut, please welcome, DARREN REID JR!”

 

A remix of “Requiem” by Mozart hits the PA system as the fans start booing viciously. After a few moments Darren Reid Jr steps out on to the stage wearing a full length red and white gown, and accompanied by an older man dressed in a suit and bowtie who may well be his butler. 

 

Sharper: “And here we have it folks, the debut of DRJ. Perhaps not the best week for it though considering the media coverage around his father this week.”

 

Knots: “Oh yeah, I heard about that. He’s accused of lobbying both the Canadian and United States governments to keep minimum wages low?”

 

Sharper: “According to a report in the New York Times earlier this week. Reid Sr apparently spent more in one year to lobby politicians not to raise minimum wage than it would have cost to pay the potential increases for several year across all his companies.”

 

Knots: “So what you’re saying is rich guys are gonna rich guy?”

 

While the commentators talk about DRJ’s family’s scandals, DRJ himself heads to the ring and waits impatiently as his butler quickly climbs the ring steps and holds open the ropes for him. DRJ barely acknowledges the older man holding the ropes as he steps between them, holding up his hands in the ring as though the California crowd were welcoming him and not incessantly booing. He walks over to Philips and takes the microphone.

 

DRJ: “I don’t see what you’re all upset about. You’re all witnesses to HISTORY in the making right now. You should be honored that someone the importance of Darren Reid Jr is making an appearance here tonight, let alone his debut. Of course, I WAS hoping to debut at the End of Year Special, traditionally held in a much better country, Canada…”

 

The fans boo even louder. DRJ doesn’t seem to care however and continues.

 

DRJ: “…but this company under the management of CHBK is going to hell, and there isn’t even going to BE a special this year? Disgraceful! So, if SCW won’t come to Canada, then Canada’s greatest family will come here instead, to this backward state which is so infested with immigrants it might as well be Mexico.”

 

The boos get louder still as DRJ seems pleased with himself. He paces for a moment before ordering his manservant to take off his gown. 

 

DRJ: “Yet as much as you Americans need a proper education, I’m not here to talk. I’m here to make my debut. And typically your incompetent management couldn’t even arrange an opponent for me ahead of time. So I’m here to call out ANYONE back there who wants to go down in history as the first victim of Darren Reid Jr’s climb to the top.”

 

He looks toward the stage again.

 

DRJ: “Because tonight begins the legacy, as DRJ takes over SCW! So, who’s it going to be? C’mon, don’t be shy, you’re all going to lose to me eventually.”

 

The crowd continues to boo as DRJ stares at the stage, waiting for an appearance from his opponent. 

 

Philips: “The following match is scheduled for one fall. Already in the ring and making his SCW debut, from Toronto, Ontario, weighing two hundred and one pounds, he is ‘DRJ’, DARREN REID JR!”

 

His lips curl into a smile as the lights cut out to black and a television appears on the big screen with static on it. The static persists for a few seconds before words appear on the screen in time with the voice echoing around the arena. A very recognizable, British voice.

CHAPEL PRODUCTIONS

 

The crowd cheer and the expression on DRJ’s face becomes one of confusion. After a few moments, the screens all burst to life as “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits. The crowd go absolutely wild as Syren and Lexy Chapel walk through the curtain. They pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.

Syren and Lexy both walk down the ramp with Lexy slapping hands of fans as Syren stands with a smile on her face. We cut to DRJ in the middle of the ring who looks absolutely astonished.

 

Knots: “What. The. Hell?!”

 

Sharper: “The fans in Sacramento just blew the roof off the Golden 1 Center. I can barely hear myself think. SYREN IS BACK!”

 

Lexy joyfully jumps up onto the ring apron and encourages the already loud California crowd to cheer even more as Syren slaps some hands at ringside and makes her way toward the ring apron.

 

Phillips: “Please welcome his opponent… making her SCW return, being accompanied by Lexy Chapel and representing LexyCorp International, hailing from CALIFORNIA…”

 

The crowd cheer even more.

 

Philips: “… and weighing one hundred and twenty-nine pounds, she is a seven-time SCW World Champion, she is an SCW Hall of Famer, this is SYREN!”

 

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope and dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client. She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Syren takes off her ring jacket and hands that to Lexy. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down and standing in her corner with Lexy as her music fades out. 

 

Sharper: “The fans in Sacramento seemed like they were moments away from rioting at one point, and now the noise in this building has absolutely switched.”

 

Knots: “I don’t believe this. I thought she was gone. I heard her career was over.”

 

Sharper: “I’m guessing you heard wrong, Jon.”

 

The fans begin chanting ‘SYREN’ repeatedly as she stands in the corner with a grin on her face. DRJ paces back and forth, complaining to both the manservant who accompanied him and the referee. He seems as though he’s trying to explain to the referee that this isn’t what he meant when the referee turns and calls for the bell.

 

Sharper: “DRJ irate. This isn’t what he had planned.”

 

Knots: “His dad should have spent less money lobbying politicians and more money lobbying the SCW board of directors for an easier opponent!”

 

DRJ angrily steps forward, shaking his head and begins berating Syren and pointing to the ramp. The fans boo. Syren slaps him hard across the face, which staggers the Canadian billionaire heir. The crowd roar their approval. DRJ comes back with a shot to the face before grabbing Syren by the arm and whipping her into the ropes, but instead of bouncing back she runs up the ropes and springboards back, taking him down with a crossbody. The fans roar again as Syren rolls over and DRJ rolls toward the ropes.

 

Sharper: “Things not going to plan for our debutant here tonight. Was he telling her to leave the ring?”

 

Knots: “Probably thought he at least had a chance of that working. Probably used to women doing whatever he says. Or at least not speaking publicly against him after they’ve signed NDAs. Allegedly.”

 

DRJ gets back to his feet and yells at his manservant at ringside before rushing across the ring but Syren moves out of the way, sending him into the ropes, and then catches him with a dropkick as he rebounds. He hits the mat, grabbing his face in pain and crawling over to the corner. The fans cheer. DRJ spends a moment checking his teeth before charging out of the corner only for Syren to sidestep again. This time though DRJ stops his momentum and turns, catching her with a clothesline and knocking her off her feet. The fans boo and DRJ looks proud of himself.

 

Knots: “Hey, he got something right. Good for him.”

 

Sharper: “DRJ standing there looking like he wants applause from the crowd, completely ignoring Syren.”

 

DRJ seems angrily that the fans are continuing to boo. He turns to his manservant as though asking them to do something and when he turns back Syren grabs him and snaps him over with a snapmare and then kicks him hard in the back. The crowd roars and DRJ’s face changes to look of shock and pain. He grabs at his back and tries to roll away, but as he gets back to his feet Syren grabs him from behind and pops her hips, launching him up off his feet and dropping him backward with a suplex. The crowd roars again as DRJ rolls about holding his head.

 

Sharper: “Why do I get the feeling like nobody training this man for his debut actually thought he’d be manhandled here tonight?”

 

Knots: “Perhaps it’s the look of absolute shock on his face at how much this hurts.”

 

DRJ staggers up, holding his head, as Syren nails him with a kick and leaps up, dropping him on his face with the Total Makeover. The crowd roars again as DRJ lays in the middle of the ring unmoving. Lexy quickly climbs on the apron yelling for her client to stop.

 

Sharper: “TOTAL MAKEOVER!! DRJ is out cold and… what’s Lexy doing now?”

 

Knots: “Maybe she’s not ready for this to end yet?”

 

Lexy shakes her head before motioning to the crowd and yelling.

 

Lexy: “SUPERKICK! SUPERKICK! SUPERKICK!”

 

The fans roar and join in as a ‘Superkick’ chants rings out around the Golden 1 Center. Syren laughs and shrugs her shoulders, walking over to the corner instead. The fans continue to roar and chant as DRJ slowly begins to come around, completely unaware of where he is or what’s awaiting him. He tries to push himself up, holding his head, and the moment he’s back vertical again Syren delivers a massive Superkick that knocks him back down to the mat.

 

Sharper: “BITTERSWEET ENDING!”

 

Knots: “The crowd called for it. I guess they got what they wanted to see.”

 

Syren drops into the cover as the crowd, and Lexy, count along.

3!!!

 

Syren rolls off as DRJ rolls over toward the rope. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits again as Lexy grabs his leg and pulls him the rest of the way out of the ring, unceremoniously dumping him at ringside, before sliding in and raising Syren’s hand. Syren walks to the ropes and takes the microphone from Philips before walking back to the middle of the ring again and pausing for a moment to take in the atmosphere.

 

Syren: “Well, Sacramento… I’m back!”

 

The crowd roar their approval as Syren covers the microphone and says something to Lexy which makes the Brit laugh.

 

Syren: “I’m not going to lie, you guys, I REALLY missed this.”

 

The crowd roars again and begin to chant ‘WELCOME BACK’ loudly. Lexy nods, joining in with the crowd as Syren takes another step back and enjoys the moment.

 

Syren: “Thank you, guys. You really have no idea what that means to me. Now, if you’ll indulge me for a moment, there’s a little story I’ve got to tell you.”

 

The crowd cheers again and the overall volume in the building drops.

 

Syren: “It’s been five months since I last stood in this ring. Five months since, in the build up to Rise to Greatness, I teamed with Xander Valentine. And during that match I felt… something with my shoulder. After the match I knew something was wrong, but the truth is that I didn’t want to admit it. With Rise to Greatness so close, I thought if I went home and I iced my shoulder and I rested then everything would be ok. I thought I could gut it out. That I could make it through. But it turns out no, I couldn’t…”

 

The fans boo and Syren nods in agreement. 

 

Syren: “When it didn’t get better with rest and ice, I went for a scan. Turns out I pretty much wrecked my shoulder, and the doctors told me I’d need surgery. I knew in that moment that, for the first time in FIFTEEN YEARS, I was going to miss Rise to Greatness. And that was… not a good feeling. So, that’s the part of the story you guys already know. But there’s more to it than that. You see, not only was I going to miss Rise to Greatness, but my SCW contract expired before the next show as well and the truth was, I didn’t know if I was going to sign a new deal.”

 

The fans boo again. Lexy shakes her head and we hear her yelling.

 

Lexy: “I knew you’d sign. We ALL knew you’d sign!”

 

The fans cheer again. Syren laughs.

 

Syren: “Yeah, that’s true. Lexy was convinced that I’d sign a new deal, while I was wondering if it was just… time. Time for me to hang up my boots. After all, how many times have I been told that I’m not who I used to be? I was told I’m not the same Syren who rose to the top of this company. Told I’m not the same Syren who conquered everything in front of her. Told I’m not the same Syren who raised belt after belt over her head, and I was left thinking that maybe they were right, and maybe I never would be. Maybe I’d never get back to where I was.”

 

She paces in the ring as she speaks, lowering the microphone for a moment before looking up. 

 

Syren: “But while I was injured, with weakness in my arm from my dozens of neck injuries over the years, wondering if I’d ever get back the strength again, I started to think that maybe that was a good time to just walk away and give so many in the back what they wanted. After all with all these injuries I’m starting to feel like maybe I’m made of glass…”

 

The fans boo, and Syren nods. 

 

Syren: “…but then I thought about the satisfaction on the faces of so many people I absolutely despise and I thought nah, I’m not making it THAT easy. If they want me gone, they’re going to have to do better than that. If they want me gone, they’re going to have to BREAK me!”

 

The fans roar again as Syren smiles.

 

Syren: “And until they do, I have UNFINISHED BUSINESS around here!”

 

The fans roar again.

 

Syren: “I have unfinished business with the ADRENALINE championship!”

 

The fans roar.

 

Syren: “I have unfinished business with the WORLD TAG TEAM championships!”

 

The crowd roars louder. Syren looks at Lexy who’s pointing at an American flag in the crowd. She nods.

 

Syren: “Good point. Good point. I’ve never even held the UNITED STATES championship!”

 

The fans roar even louder as Lexy grins happily.

 

Syren: “But you all know me by now. It’s been fifteen years. And you know that ever since I climbed the mountain in 2012 and I cemented my place at the absolute peak of the mountain in SCW… you guys know that my REAL unfinished business is with the SCW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!”

 

The fans cheer and chant ‘ONE MORE TIME’ as Syren nods her head.

 

Syren: “You’re DAMN RIGHT one more time!”

 

The fans cheer again.

 

Syren: “So maybe what they say is true. Maybe I’m not who I used to be. Maybe I am made of glass right now. But if you believe that, come try to break me, because I’ve got ONE MORE YEAR on my contract… and I’ve got business to finish!”

 

She paces as the crowd roars again and Lexy applauds in approval.

 

Syren: “So here it is folks. You don’t like me? Come try and stop me! Maybe you’ll be the one who FINALLY breaks Syren. But if not, I’m GOING to be a champion again in 2025. I’m going to be WORLD CHAMPION again in 2025. And if you accept that… or you can BE TOTALLY JEALOUS!”

 

“Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system again as the fans roar and Syren holds up the microphone and looks out at the crowd.

 

Syren: “Thank you, Sacramento.”

 

The crowd roars again as Lexy rushes over and hugs Syren and raises her arm in the air. Syren stands there enjoying the moment as the music continues playing.

 

COMMERCIALS

“The Shocking Moment of 2024…”

 

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by The Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio. The crowd roars as Xander Valentine walks out from the back. Hayes turns to the stage and then back. We also see Kandis in the ring with CHBK.

 

Hayes: “I said Kirsten Scott! Come on!”

 

Hayes glances back as Xander Valentine starts to walk down to the ring. Kandis glares at him as Xander continues to walk down to the ring.

 

Sharper: “Xander has been talking about it and after he got past Holly Adams, we figured this could be an option!”

 

Knots: “And he wants a World Title match!”

 

Xander Valentine reaches the ring. He then pulls himself up to the apron and then steps inside. He steps forward. The crowd roars. Kandis then turns to Hayes and snaps at him. Hayes looks around as CHBK stands in the middle of the ring. Xander’s music stops.

 

CHBK: “Before this goes any further, someone’s rematch clause is going to be used for Body, Heart and Soul!”

 

The crowd roars. Hayes smirks. Kandis then rubs her hands.

 

Knots: “Well that takes out Xander Valentine right?”

 

Sharper: “Did he ever get his rematch?”

 

Knots: “Oh…uh…maybe not! But then Hakuri’s out. Sorry!”

 

Sharper: “Either way, Kandis and Hayes both are locking eyes. They seem to think Kandis is next up!”

 

Knots: “You heard her at the End of the Year Special! She’s owed a rematch from Under Attack!”

 

A scoff escapes Asher.

 

Asher: “Really? I gotta beat her again?”

 

He takes a step forward.

 

Asher: “I would have thought-“

 

Only to be blasted in the face by Hakuri Keitaro with a superkick. The crowd ohs and several cheer. Hayes is laid out.

 

Knots: “What the-“

 

Sharper: “Hakuri Keitaro just nailed the world champion! Asher is out cold!”

 

Knots: “Same move he used to win the Invitational!”

 

Keitaro stands above Asher Hayes, eyes on him before he slowly reaches up and undoes his jacket. Stripping it away, the coat reveals a bunch of padding within the inside, a more toned and lithe form underneath.

 

Knots: “What the hell is he doing?”

 

Sharper: “Wait…that’s not Riddick or…that’s a woman…”

 

Tossing the jacket aside, Keitaro then reaches up and pulls off their mask, revealing the platinum-blonde braid that comes tumbling down – belonging to the Snow Queen of SCW!

 

Knots: “No!”

 

Sharper: “My God! Selena Frost! Selena Frost is back in SCW!”

 

The fans, instantly, transform their cheers to boos, deafening the arena. Selena stands there, unfazed by the crowd, her cold eyes locked on Asher, who remains motionless in the ring. Reaching down, Frost picks up the World Title and glares at it. Kandis glares at Selena as Xander just watches from the corner.

 

Sharper: “Is she who CHBK was referring to?”

 

Another second goes by, all eyes on Selena holding the World Championship before she dumps the title on Asher’s head. Without a word or a look back, the Snow Queen flips over the ropes and onto the mats below, marching up the ramp. Kandis turns to CHBK and immediately demands an explanation as Xander Valentine lets out an annoyed look. CHBK, however, keeps his eyes locked on the retreating form of Frost. Asher Hayes remains motionless in the ring, no one bothering to help him.

 

Sharper: “I still cannot believe what I am seeing. Selena Frost, returning as Hakuri Keitaro, wins the EOTY invitational and then, on our first episode of Breakdown of the year, leaves SCW shaken to the core!”

The opening polyphonic strokes of Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” hit the PA, and the crowd immediately turns to boos. The stage lights intensify in brightness. Through the light, we can see the outline of an emerging competitor.

A two-step through the light and into the ramp, Billy Heaven pops onto the scene in his wrestling gear, a very large pair of sunglasses on his face.

I AIN’T DO NO WRONG!

A shimmy and a hard stop.

I COULD CLEAN UP GOOD FOR YA! OH I KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG!

A sharp three-hundred degree pivot on the ball of his foot, a crisp landing in a split-legged stance, left hand pointing to the sky.

‘CAUSE I WANNA MAKE IT, SO BADLY!

A sharp return of his upward pointed hand into an intense pump, thrust, and strut forward.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, representing the Fall of Man, he is Billy Heaven Jr.!”

And with that said, Billy Heaven Jr. obnoxiously smiles pointing to the crowd as he makes his way down to the ring. He rolls under the bottom rope, outstretched arms to receive his less than warm ovation, but it does not seem to register. He takes the sunglasses off and sets them on the top turnbuckle before standing on the second rope, leg over the top, bringing his hands together in a prayer. “Million Dollar Baby” dies out.

 

Sharper: “Billy Heaven Jr. about to face someone who I’m sure the Fall of Man is hoping gets something terrible to him tonight.”

 

Knots: “Derek Adonis, most hated for Fall of Man. How about that?”

 

Sharper: “Billy Heaven Jr. said he would deal with this. I’d love to know how.”

Derek Adonis rolls out atop the ramp on a cloud, alongside a number of the citizens of KABLAMia: Sweet Sangria, Mimi Mimosa, Het Meisje, and Anastasia Fantasia among them. The crowd rise to their feet in a raucous applause at the display of flesh in front of them...

The cloud makes it to the bottom of the ramp and Adonis hops off first, reaching up to help the four primary women off. They step down, each planting a kiss on the cheek of Man-Mountain before heading up the stairs. Adonis follows up last and pulls himself through the ropes, lifting them for the four women to enter the ring as well.

After finishing (heh), Adonis moves to the middle of the ring, posing with the four women around him. As the song ends, he bellows out with it...

Adonis: "KABLAAAAAAAAAAAAM!"

 

Sharper: “And Derek Adonis standing tall right now with his Tourism Board.”

 

Knots: “And Billy is eying all of them. Derek…be careful!”

 

Derek Adonis then turns as the bell sounds as Billy Heaven Jr. walks over and then looks at Sweet Sangria, before turning and looking at Het Meisje. He then spanks Mimi Mimosa. This leads Derek to step forward and shake his finger at Billy. Billy steps back, holding his hands up.

 

Adonis: “Consent is paramount, Billy! I’m not going-“

 

Billy: “Whoa! Whoa…you got these baddies with you. I just wanted to see if they were real!”

 

Adonis: “Consent…”

 

Billy: “Okay, relax, I-“

 

Billy then turns to Anastasia Fantasia and turns to her. Fantasia just laughs. Billy looks around and then turns to the crowd before back to Adonis. Billy just looks at them.

 

Billy: “Come on…you can do better than this fatty. You can-“

 

Derek then nails Billy with a hard right. Billy falls back and rolls over to the corner. The crowd roars. Adonis turns to Jason Phillips at this point. Fantasia is handed a microphone. She hands it to Adonis.

 

Adonis: “Billy…we tried to be patient, but in record time, you have shown yourself to not be someone who would be a good fit in KABLAMia.”

 

Billy: “Yo! I’m just admiring your swag. Just saying, they can do better! Look at this!”

 

Billy yells as he gets up and shows himself off before then runs his hands down his body.

 

Adonis: “Time for an emergency vote from the KABLAMia Tourism Board. To ban Billy from KABLAMia!”

 

Adonis looks at his group as they all muse amongst themselves. We then see them turn around and each give thumbs down. Billy just looks around. He then turns to Adonis.

 

Billy: “Wait! No! Come on! I’m loaded! I’m a Trios champion. I-“

 

Billy then runs at Adonis and Adonis scoops him up and hits a powerslam. The crowd erupts. Adonis gets up and runs into the ropes.

 

Sharper: “Billy not getting welcomed in KABLAMia in the future!”

 

Knots: “Massive loss! Big L!”

 

Sharper: “And this could be just as big. Adonis off the ropes!”

 

Adonis bounces off and hits a running splash. The crowd roars. Adonis goes for the pin.

Billy shoots his shoulder up. He rolls over and reaches for the ropes. Adonis gets up as the KABLAMia Tourism Board exits the ring. Billy slides to the corner, breathing heavily and holding his ribs. He starts to get up in the ropes and then looks down at Sweet Sangria before turning around and walking into Adonis who hits a Samoan drop.

 

Sharper: “Adonis again throws him back!”

 

Knots: “Billy Heaven Jr. is completely off his game! Adonis and KABLAMia…he was hoping for a hell of a time in the future.”

 

Sharper: “Or he wanted to get his rocks off tonight and they saw through his douchebaggery!”

 

Knots: “What?!”

 

Adonis gets up and pulls his shirt down. He runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a running elbow drop, but Billy rolls out of the way. Adonis hits hard and rolls over. Billy taps his forehead before getting up. Billy starts to get up and Billy steps over and sizes him up before then hitting a spinning back fist to the jaw. Adonis drops to the mat. The crowd ohs as Billy then walks around the ring. He then poses as he looks around.

 

Billy: “You want this, ladies, not that!”

 

Billy points to himself before turning back to Adonis who starts to get up and Billy wrenches this arm and then pulls him into an armbar takedown, but he tries to get the armbar in, but Derek Adonis remains on his hands and knees. He keeps fighting before pushing up and nailing Billy in the ribs with a shot. He hits another. Billy lets go and rolls over. He then gets up and turns and runs at Derek who catches him in a full nelson. He then hits a full nelson sitout drop. Billy rolls over, holding his ass.

 

Sharper: “Full nelson atomic drop!”

 

Knots: “Oh no! He needs that to thrust!”

 

Sharper: “And the baddies as he calls them, the Tourism Board is loving this.”

 

Adonis rolls over and gets up as Billy Heaven Jr. holds his ass and slides to the corner. He turns around and sits in it as Adonis stands across the ring. He then turns and runs across the ring. Billy moves out of the way as Adonis goes for a facewash boot, but misses. Adonis gets caught briefly before starting to pull himself out and Billy runs to the ropes, jumping to the top rope and dives back with the LA Special #3. The crowd ohs as Adonis goes down. Billy gets up and taunts the crowd and the Tourism Board.

 

Billy: “I don’t need KABLAMia. The world wants to be with me!”

 

Billy Heaven Jr. smirks.

 

Sharper: “The LA Special #3-“

 

Knots: “Followed by the LA Special #12. Got that from Keenie all the time!”

 

Billy turns around and walks over to Adonis. He then stomps him in the face. Adonis rolls over. Billy then grabs him and slowly starts to lift him up.

 

Billy: “Time to teach you that lesson…”

 

He then turns back to the Tourism Board.

 

Billy: “…and baddies, you know you want this!”

 

Billy then grabs Adonis, but Adonis suddenly sends Billy into the corner. Adonis runs after and hits the KABLAM! Billy falls back and Adonis dives onto him.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Derek Adonis!”

 

Adonis rolls out of the ring, quickly mobbed by his Tourism Board.

 

Sharper: “Adonis does it!”

 

Knots: “Billy Heaven Jr…what the hell?!”

 

Sharper: “William Heaven won’t be happy. Dear ole dad…but Adonis continuing to be the thorn in their side! Even in the new year!”

 

Knots: “And he’ll be celebrating…in KABLAMia!”

 

Adonis holds his arm up as the Tourism Board stand around him, two on each side, holding his arm. Billy Jr. rolls over, holding his back.

 

Adonis: “KABLAM!”

 

Adonis then starts to walk with his Tourism Board as Billy Jr. winces in pain. We then cut to the stage where we see CHBK walking back out from the back.

 

CHBK: “Congratulations Derek. Great start to the year.”

 

We hear an errant “KABLAM!” in response.

 

CHBK: “You have quite the team with you and well, I feel it is time to share who is your Tag Team of 2024!”

 

CHBK looks around.

 

CHBK: “Tag Team wrestling was on the map in SCW. We have said for years we have the best tag division in professional wrestling anywhere and we continued to show that. And yet…even still, one team rose to the top. And I’ve had my tense moments with them, but it makes me so happy to see them get this accolade for 2024…your Tag Team of 2024….Light in the Darkness!”

 

The crowd roars as Billy Heaven Jr. winces in pain in the ring.

 

Sharper: “And this may only make Fall of Man more unhappy!”

 

“In the Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan Kicks plays as we then see after a few moments, Amelia Nevado and La Pequena Luz step out, holding their World Tag Team Championship belts. Luz has her interim United States Championship belt around her waist. They walk over as the crowd cheers. CHBK shakes hands with La Pequena Luz and then with Amelia Nevado. They then turn and play to the crowd as CHBK steps back.

 

Sharper: “Well deserved. Coming into the year as champions and leaving it as champions. They had some adversity.”

 

Knots: “But they survived and now have more gold. But you said it…the Fall of Man may not like this.”

 

Sharper: “If they get a chance to face them…they can prove the world wrong.”

 

Luz and Amelia continue to play to the crowd, thanking them for their votes as the scene fades out.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

In the backstage area we see DRJ with an icepack on his head pacing back and forth and clearly irate, yelling at someone on the phone. In the background we can see a ‘CONGRATULATIONS’ banner that he’s clearly torn down, along with a broken bottle of champagne.

 

DRJ: “No. NO! Look, I don’t care WHO’S responsible, I just want them FIRED! You hear me? FIRED! What happened tonight was… was…”

 

He sees the camera filming him and snaps.

 

DRJ: “What are YOU looking at? Did I give you permission to be here? You better get that camera out of my face or you’ll be hearing from my lawyers! Actually, no. No. You want to film? Keep filming.”

 

He lowers the phone and rages at the camera.

 

DRJ: “What you saw tonight was a DISGRACE! And I don’t know if it was CHBK, or someone on the board, or someone else entirely, but WHOEVER is responsible is going to have to find a new job! But if you think what happened out there changes anything then you’re wrong. WRONG! Because this company WILL learn who I am. Just you wait until next year. Just you wait until my father hears about this! Heads are going to roll. YOU HEAR ME? Now get out of my sight before I get YOU fired as well!”

 

He slams the door but it doesn’t actually shut and bounces open again and we can see through the slight gap in the ajar door that he raises the phone back to his ear again.

 

DRJ: “Yes. No. Get Elon’s guys on it. They can fix this. How? I don’t care how! What do I pay you for? Just FIX it!”

 

He slams the door shut again and this time it actually shuts.

 

Sharper: “Darren Reid Jr not having… quite the night he was expecting.”

 

Knots: “The man pre-paid for his victory celebration. I bet he lost his deposits.”

 

Sharper: “He lost more than that. But apparently this ill-conceived idea of starting a wrestling career isn’t over yet? Maybe we’ll be nominating him for awards next year.”

 

Knots: “Most Disappointing Debut? I think he’s earned that.”

 

Back in the arena, “Omnishred” by Powerglove is playing in the arena as we see Andrew Raynes now at ringside and heading up the steel steps.

 

Sharper: “Well welcome back to ringside. Andrew Raynes joining us here.”

 

Knots: “You can see him looking around. He wants Simon Lyman! He got one of them last week!”

 

Sharper: “That whole situation. Still no firm answers with Simon and his brother Ryan both pretending to be the SCW legend.”

 

Raynes enters the ring and walks across it. He points his finger at Jason Phillips and demands a microphone. He storms across. Phillips hands him a microphone. Raynes takes it and turns back to the middle of the ring.

 

Raynes: “Cut the music!”

 

The music fades out as Raynes starts to pace around the ring.

 

Raynes: “I have a problem…”

 

Raynes walks around the ring.

 

Raynes: “That problem is that there are now two sons of a bitches who claim they’re Simon Lyman and that’s two too many!”

 

The crowd roars.

 

Raynes: “See, I have a problem because Simon Lyman is someone who should be put into the God damned ground!”

 

Raynes stops and looks at the main camera.

 

Raynes: “And look, I don’t give a damn about what family drama there is. When I came back at Rise to Greatness, I came back with the aim of taking Simon’s head clean off his shoulders. And I don’t care who is the real one. I just care there that there is one and they’re still running around here. So…the fact is…the truth won’t set anyone free. Because I’m coming for blood and that’s why I’m here.”

 

Raynes looks at the entrance way.

 

Raynes: “CHBK! You’re the one making the matches. Well, I assume you don’t want Simon…or Ryan…or both of them getting their blood spilled outside of this ring. And I want them…one, both, I don’t care who. Do what you need to do-“

 

“Whoa is Me” by Down with Webster then starts to play. The crowd roars as Raynes stops and brings the microphone down to his side. He shakes his head as Gavin Taylor walks out from the back, microphone in his hand.

 

Raynes: “You’re not CHBK, Gavin. I know you’re not that deluded.”

 

Gavin: “Andrew…I’m not. But I know this situation better than you. I know the whole picture here. And trust me, while I know you want to get your hands on Ryan Lyman…I do too…Simon is not your target.”

 

Raynes: “Really Gavin? I don’t know again if you can talk. Weren’t you a couple of weeks ago caught into this? Do you know who really attacked you? Or maybe, just maybe, we make this simple. I don’t care about their family bullshit. There are two people, their last name is Lyman and they both are showing who they are.”

 

Gavin shakes his head and hops onto the apron.

 

Gavin: “I’ve known Simon for over a decade and a half. I was in the ring with Ryan, multiple times-“

 

Raynes: “And what did it get you? You’ve been a shell of yourself since then. So Gavin, maybe it’s time to stop. Step aside and I’ll remove the problem. You can thank me later.”

 

Gavin stands up to Andrew. The two are just a couple of feet apart.

 

Gavin: “And I’m telling you that you’re fighting a war you don’t need to. I know why you’re going after Lyman-“

 

Raynes: “Like hell you do and if you think it’s because of Amy, you’re as stupid as you look.”

 

Gavin: “Either way, the man who has been calling himself Simon for the last year…at least…maybe longer is Ryan. It’s not him. Simon is trying to fix this. He’s only been able ot try and-“

 

Raynes: “And I don’t care!”

 

Raynes looks at Gavin. The two glare at one another.

 

Raynes: “See – I’m not here to play into the family drama. I see a problem. That’s what I said. And Lyman is it. Whatever that is, represents, whoever it is, both, one, I don’t care. I am here to deal with that problem!”

 

Gavin: “Then go after Ryan!”

 

???: “Andrew…”

 

Raynes looks around as Gavin does too.

 

???: “Down here. By the stage.”

 

The cameras cut to show what appears to be Simon Lyman walking forward from next to the stage.

 

Simon?: “Gavin, I appreciate it. And I appreciate what little patience you have left with this all. Thanks to my brother…thanks to the trouble my getting free…I…it’s me. Simon…the real one.”

 

Raynes: “Convenient that I have to just trust you huh?”

 

Simon walks over to the rampway.

 

Simon: “It is me. I…I don’t know how else to prove it. Just…I’d offer to walk right up to you. Maybe you can see it…I…”

 

Gavin: “You don’t need to prove anything Simon.”

 

Rayne: “The hell he doesn’t-“

CHBK: “Enough of this.”

 

The crowd roars as Simon stops and looks up at the stage. A few moments pass before Alex “CHBK” Desoubrais walks out from the back. He has a microphone in his hand. He starts to head to the ring.

 

Raynes: “Finally!”

 

CHBK walks down the rampway. He glances at Simon before walking over to the ring. He walks up the steel steps and into the ring. He then steps forward.

 

CHBK: “Gavin…Andrew….Simon, I guess….”

 

Raynes: “Just make the match-“

 

CHBK: “Andrew…you and I may never have really broken bread for a number of reasons. But you and I do share one thing…we both have little care for the Lyman family.”

 

CHBK turns to the entrance way briefly before turning to Gavin.

 

CHBK: “And frankly, while I can clearly see there are two of them, I can’t, nor have the time, with everything else, to get to the bottom of this. So, I’m going to instead just do something where one way or another, we’re going to find something out. We’re going to get to the bottom of something.”

 

CHBK looks at Andrew.

 

CHBK: “Because Andrew, I’ll give you your shot at the Lymans.”

 

Andrew smiles.

 

CHBK: “But what we’re going to do…is that Simon, Ryan….if this is real, if this is some con, I don’t know. I don’t care. But we’ll find out come Dogfight in Dusseldorff. And Gavin, if you’re on Simon’s side, then you can do what you can to help him. But I know you want to get your hands on Ryan. So, at Dogfight in Dusseldorff, we’re going to see Andrew Raynes team with Gavin Taylor…to face Simon and Ryan Lyman!”

 

Simon starts to lose it on the floor.

 

Simon: “No! He’s going to kill me!”

 

Gavin turns to Simon.

 

Raynes: “No…I will!”

 

CHBK: “One way or another…something is going to be figured out!”

 

Raynes moves past Gavin. He then exits the ring as Simon backs up and then looks around before then bolting for the back. Raynes takes a few steps and looks at Simon.

 

Sharper: “That had to be Ryan. I can’t think Simon would run like that-“

 

Knots: “Maybe Raynes is onto something.”

 

Sharper: “He sat here next to us for months, Jon.”

 

Knots: “Hey…who knows what’s going on in his…or their head.”

 

Sharper: “But CHBK just throwing everything into the vat…Dogfight in Dusseldorff is going to be chaotic!”

 

Raynes heads to the back as Gavin looks down, clearly trying to contemplate his plan as the scene cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

The scene opens up backstage and we see Jaina Lancaster standing alongside Lexy Chapel who’s carrying what looks like a sack of mail. The fans roar as Lexy grins happily.

 

Jaina: “I am here with former Manager of the Year winner, Lexy Chapel. Lexy, you made your return tonight after months away at the side of Syren. Is she the only one returning, or do you have more in store for next year?”

 

Lexy: “Are you asking me if I have more surprises waiting, Jaina? Oh I have more surprises. So many more! Right now I’m just on my way to talk to my dad – err, I mean our boss! Yeah, that’s right. our boss, CHBK. Because I’ve been gone from here for WAY too long, and I have time to make up for.”

 

Jaina: “Is there anything you can—”

 

Lexy: “Actually, what do you mean FORMER manager of the year? I’m the manager of the year EVERY year, Jaina. You should know that. Can you name one manager who’s had more success than me?”

 

Jaina looks like she’s about to answer and Lexy quickly cuts her off.

 

Lexy: “Wait. Don’t answer that! It’s the End of Year show, I’m in too good of a mood. But as for surprises, I have so much planned. Syren is back and 2025 is going to be a huge year for her. Because tonight was the long awaited match number ten, so we’re starting this year fresh. No more conspiracies. This year is going to be all action, all glory, and most of all, ALL SUPERKICKS! That’s right, Jaina. You’re invited. Here, I have an invitation for you somewhere…”

 

Lexy reaches into the bag and looks around for a moment before pulling out a card with the name ‘OTHER JESSICA’ written on it and crossed out with ‘JAINA’ written instead.

 

Lexy: “Here. Your official invitation to the SUPERKICK SOIREE! It all kicks off in January. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have things to arrange. Invitations to deliver. A boss to speak to. LEXY CLAUS IS IN THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT, HO-HO-HO!”

 

Lexy skips off happily before stopping when she passes a backstage technician and looking in the sack for an invitation to give to them as well. Jaina looks at hers in confusion as we fade out.

Suddenly the lights in the arena fade down as the video wall does a couple of static jumps before showing us a short video clip akin to classic “Our Feature Presentation” introductions to Grindhouse movies.

 

Once the clip ends, the dark and hard chords of Motionless in White's cover of "Du Hast" starts to play throughout the arena as the video show the highlights of the SCW careers of David Striker and Chris Dumont within a steampunk grid.

At this point the crowds come to their feet with a massive pop as Irvine comes walking out of the entrance first followed close behind by Chris Dumont who slowly raises his right fist into the air before he moves off to one side as David Striker steps out onto the entrance way with a calm but grim expression on his face with Kyle Gibson on his six before the foursome make their way down to the ring, Chris fist bumping a fan or two while David keeps his attention solely on the ring.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first, they are escorted to the ring by Kyle Gibson and Irvine. They represent the Phantom Troupe...they are David Striker and the "Ronin" Chris Dumont...this is DANGEROUS MINDS!!!”

 

Upon reaching the ring, all four men wiped their feet off before they enter the ring properly as David quickly shucks off his ring coat before tossing it out of the ring while Irvine and Kyle get out of the ring to help keep an eye out for trouble while Chris climbs to the top of the nearest turnbuckle and raises a fist into the air before he hops down while David moves to the center of the ring and calmly waits for their opponents with his partner, both men ready for war.

 

Sharper: “The Phantom Troupe here en masse and it looks like Dumont and Striker are ready for anything.”

 

Knots: “After how Breakdown ended in 2024, they got involved in a fight they didn’t need to.”

 

Sharper: “Dumont coming out to help Aisling Reed as the Fall of Man was going after her. Striker right behind him. But now, tonight, they face against a team they’ve had little patience for in the past and that’s the Shining Maidens!”

 

The arena darkens before:

The Nyan cat appears on the screen, with the crowd popping. The cat in a poptart, farting rainbows steers around and breaks right into the screen, showing a window crack before breaking. At that moment, “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL’s opening riffs plays, and the girls' voice count:

Out pops YUYO from behind the curtains. Bright white light now shines down on the stage, following YUYO. Mister Meowkazawa follows her to stand behind her. A moment later, her fellow Shining Maidens of SCW members join her as well. NEMO and SAWA pose at either side of YUYO. YUYO steps up to the top of the ramp and places her hands on her hips. YUSA walks out and stands behind them. Meowkazawa hands her the magical staff, Gríðarvölr. She spins the staff around with a display of talent, the long purple and white ribbons attached to the staff’s end flash. When she stops, she thrusts one hand forward while holding the staff behind her back.

YUYO: “HA!”

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, descending from the sea of stars above, weighing at 110 pounds, the Guardian of Love, Justice and Peace— Magical Cosmic Princess, YUYO! And her partner, from San Diego, California, she is Radiant Sun Princess YUSA!”

YUYO springs down the ramp, staff in hand, she tosses it into the ring as she slides in under the bottom rope. "Radiant Sun Princess" YUSA pauses a third of the way down and poses with her hands above her head making a circle to symbolize the sun. Back in the ring, YUYO pops to her feet, picks up the staff again in a single stride, and then straight to the corner. She holds the staff like a gun and aims towards the ceiling, “BANG! BANG!”. Mr. Meowkazawa catches up to her, taking the staff while she remains in the corner. She points to the sky, “FOREVER!”. SAWA echoes YUYO's call while NEMO stands stoically off to the side. YUYO runs to the next corner and repeats, “FOREVER!”. She hops off the corner with a superhero landing! She then puts on a “mean” face as she readies for the match. YUSA meanwhile runs down and slides into the ring before starting to get up. She then looks around the arena.

 

Sharper: “Shining Maidens meanwhile working up the ladder to contention. We have a series of new teams who could step up to challenge Light in the Darkness.”

 

Knots: “No, no, no. There’s one. It’s Fall of Man. Then everyone can get in line, if they still want to, to take their ass-kicking!”

 

Sharper: “While NEMO and SAWA are moving forward, YUSA and YUYO about to team for the first time in SCW.”

 

The bell sounds as Striker looks across. YUSA then steps up and walks right up to Striker. The two get in each other faces as Striker just smirks before YUSA stomps his foot. He grimaces and YUSA nails him with a hard forearm and then another and another. She gets Striker in the ropes.

 

YUSA: “Think I’m a joke, still.”

 

YUSA stomps his foot again and then goes to whip him across. Striker spins through and sends her in. He then steps up and drills her with a forearm shot. YUSA hits the mat. She rolls over. The crowd ohs. She gets up and Striker snapmares her over and then chops her in the back. YUSA winces and Striker kicks her in the chest. She falls back and Striker hits the Viva la BAM!

 

Sharper: “And Striker unleashing a volley. YUSA went after him. Striker coming back.”

 

Knots: “And they never have liked each other!”

 

Striker hooks the legs.

YUSA kicks out. YUSA rolls over and starts to get up. Striker walks over and elbows her in the back of the head. She turns and Striker hits a shotei. YUSA falls to the corner. Striker whips her across the ring. She hits the opposite side and Striker runs after and hits a running double knee to her chest. YUSA staggers out and Striker grabs her and throws her down. He then runs into the ropes and bounces off and goes for a standing frog splash, but YUSA gets her knees up. Striker rolls off. He fights up and YUSA moves to the ropes and handsprings in before hitting a back elbow. He falls back and YUYO hits a pump kick on the apron. The official warns her. Striker steps forward and YUSA hits a snap hurricanrana into a pin.

Striker kicks out. YUSA falls forward and gets up and tags in YUYO. YUYO enters. Striker starts to get up and YUYO runs over and hits a dropkick. Striker hits the mat and rolls over and gets up and YUYO hits a forearm shot and then another and another before she goes to whip him across the ring, but Striker ducks under and pulls the arm up before locking in a hammerlock and then ramming her into the Dangerous Minds corner. Striker tags in Dumont. Dumont enters and Striker then throws her back with a back suplex. YUYO rolls through and gets up and Dumont and Striker step up with duel chops to the forehead. The crowd woos.

 

Sharper: “And Dumont in and both chop YUYO!”

 

Knots: “Hard impact, high impact, and high tempo.”

 

Sharper: “And YUYO down. Dumont with the pin!”

 

Dumont pins YUYO.

YUYO kicks out. YUYO turns and starts to get up. Dumont however elbows her in the back of the head before hitting a hard chop to the throat. YUYO hits the mat. She starts to get up and Dumont grabs her and pulls her in for a double underhook suplex. He holds onto her and rolls her back up before hoisting her up and then dropping her with a double underhook lift into a codebreaker. The crowd ohs. YUYO hits the mat. Dumont goes for the pin.

YUYO shoots her shoulder up. YUSA looks on as Dumont grabs her and drags her up. He then whips her into the corner. YUYO flips up and over to the apron. Dumont runs after and Striker runs along the opposite way, but YUYO hits a front dropkick. Dumont falls off the apron and YUYO lands on the apron. Dumont turns and grabs YUYO and pulls her into the ring, but YUYO then hits a jawbreaker. Dumont staggers back and YUYO jumps up and hits a leg lariat. Dumont falls back through the ropes and to the floor. He then rolls over and slowly gets up. (1) YUSA however runs to the corner and jumps to the middle turnbuckle and then dives back with a corner moonsault onto Dumont!

 

Sharper: “YUYO sends Dumont to the floor and YUSA was waiting! Moonsault! Right on target!”

 

Knots: “And look out! YUYO!”

 

YUYO turns and then runs in the opposite direction and takes David Striker down with a suicide dive, knocking him into the announce table. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: “And right into us!”

 

Knots: “Hey! Hey! Stay over there!”

 

YUYO rolls over as the crowd cheers. YUSA starts to get up as Dumont stirs. YUYO then looks around and yells out to YUSA. YUSA looks at her, almost confused, as YUYO then runs around the ring.

She spells out MAGICAL as she yells around the ring before jumping up and hitting a running knee to the face of Dumont. YUSA just looks at her, now picking up her plan. (1) The official returns to the count, trying to regain order. YUSA and YUYO get up and grab Dumont and roll him into the ring. YUYO rolls in after and crawls over to him for the pin.

Dumont gets his shoulder up. Dumont rolls over. YUYO gets up and walks around.

 

YUYO: “You need to stay down! YUYO wishes it!”

 

Dumont stirs as YUYO runs over and clubs him a couple of times before then running into the ropes and jumping up to the middle rope. She dives back with a corkscrew press, but Dumont suddenly revives and hits the Code Zero. The crowd ohs. YUYO hits the mat. Dumont staggers over to the corner. He tags in Striker who climbs up to the top rope. He dives off with a huge frog splash. He goes for the pin.

YUSA breaks it up with a dropkick. YUSA rolls over and rolls out of the ring. Dumont kicks at her before he’s sent back.

 

Sharper: “Oh! Nearfall! YUSA saving YUYO after YUYO may have gotten a bit overconfident!”

 

Knots: “She was doing well, but then a knee to the face tends to stop things!”

 

Sharper:” And Striker adding to it.”

 

Striker rolls over and gets up as YUYO rolls over. Striker walks over to her and grabs her before hooking her arm and twisting her around into a Shadowblade. He rolls her over.

YUYO gets her shoulder up. Striker looks up and then grabs YUYO. He then drags her up before kicking her in the ribs. He then jumps to the ropes and dives back, going for the Black Meteor, but YUYO moves out of the way. She then hits the ropes. YUSA tags herself in and YUYO hits a running dropkick. Striker hits the mat and YUSA runs past him and jumps to the middle rope and hits a lionsault. She hooks the leg.

Striker kicks out. Striker rolls over as YUSA rolls back. YUYO drops and rolls to the floor. Striker stirs as YUSA grabs him and drags him up and forearms him with a couple of hard shots before kicking him in the ribs and then pulling him out and going for a tornado DDT. She then turns and runs at Dumont and knocks him off with a dropkick. YUSA turns and watches as Striker starts to get up and YUSA runs out, but Striker suddenly ducks and turns and forearms her in the back of the head. YUSA falls into the ropes, bouncing back. Striker turns and tags in Dumont before turning back and scooping YUSA up into a backbreaker position. Dumont climbs to the top rope and hits a diving knee drop. The crowd ohs. Dumont rolls YUSA over for the pin.

YUYO dives in and breaks it up.

 

Sharper: “Dangerous Minds with the nearfall! YUYO breaks it up!”

 

Knots: “They may not be worrying about anything. Dumont and Striker don’t know half measures and YUYO and YUSA are bringing it here on Breakdown!”

 

YUYO rolls over and stirs as Striker then grabs her and turns and throws her out of the ring. NEMO and SAWA look on as YUYO rolls over and Striker grabs YUYO and pulls her up on the floor. He then walks her around and runs her shoulder first into barricade. YUYO falls over into the entrance way. She rolls over as Striker walks over to her and grabs her and pulls her up. In the ring, Dumont grabs YUSA and moves her into the corner. Dumont knees her in the ribs over and over. The official counts, focusing on Dumont and YUSA. Just then, the crowd erupts as we cut to the entrance way to see James Evans and Waylon Creek. William Heaven is halfway up the rampway. They both grab Striker and pull him off of YUYO before then Evans turns and throws Striker into the barricade. Dumont then grabs YUSA. NEMO and SAWA point as Dumont turns, but this leads to YUSA to spin through and roll Dumont up with a school boy.

The crowd roars. YUSA lets go and rolls over. By this point, we see NEMO and SAWA pulling YUYO out of the way of Creek and Evans.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, YUSA and YUYO!”

 

Sharper: “YUSA stealing this with the roll-up. I don’t even know if she knows of Fall of Man!”

 

Knots: “The Maidens do! Striker does! And now Dumont will. They’re in the ring!”

 

YUYO looks up as YUSA rolls to the floor. She backs up as we see Evans and Creek enter the ring. Dumont looks up and then turns as Creek nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Dumont falls back into the corner.

 

Sharper: “Creek and Evans going after Dumont. After last week. After the Dangerous Minds-“

 

Knots: “Last week?!”

 

Sharper: “Last year, on the last Breakdown. When they went after Aisling and Alex Belmont. Dumont and Striker came out.”

 

Dumont falls back as Striker stirs in the entrance way. YUYO is helped up by the Maidens as YUSA heads around the ring. YUYO looks at the ring, but YUSA then motions for them to leave. We then hear a roar from the crowd as La Pequena Luz and Amelia Nevado run out from the back. They bolt to the ring. Creek throws Dumont out and into Evans who hits a spinning spinebuster. He gets up as Luz and Amelia slide in. Creek turns as Luz runs past Evans and jumps up with a crossbody. Creek catches her, but she quickly fights up to his shoulders and lands behind him. She then hits a series of forearms as Amelia hits a European uppercut on Evans. She hits another and Evans nails her with a kick to the ribs. Creek nails Luz with an elbow before throwing her down. She gets to her feet and pops up and runs at Creek. Creek catches her and throws her down again as Evans is knocked back by Amelia. Amelia nails Creek for a shot before running at Evans who kicks her in the ribs and throws her into the corner. Billy Heaven Jr. then runs down and grabs David, trying to help, but Striker just drills him with a forearm. Billy goes down as David turns and storms to the ring. He slides in and gets up as Dumont slides to the corner.

 

Knots: “Billy! Billy’s here…and he’s down.”

 

Sharper: “And so is Striker. And numbers not in Fall of Man’s side! And they may have finally picked a fight they can’t win!”

 

Luz goes for a springboard crossbody on  Creek. She gets him down and she nails him with a couple of shots, but Creek manages to grab her arms and starts to get up. Striker enters the ring as Evans then hits a double underhook suplex on Amelia. Amelia rolls to the corner before Striker then nails Evans with a forearm shot and then another and another before grabbing him and running him into the corner. As he does, Heaven looks on as he steps over to Billy and smacks him before pulling him up and pushing him to the ring. Billy rolls in, but just as he does, the crowd erupts.

 

Sharper: “Oh my God…”

Knots: “No…that’s not…wait! I…I can finally get the help! I-“

 

We see Giovanni Aries at ringside, having climbed the barricade. In his mouth is a cigarette. He takes a drag on it as he looks in the ring.

 

Sharper: “I don’t think he’s with the Brand. That doesn’t look peaceful!”

 

Knots: “And he’s smoked…that’s not saging the place-“

 

Aries rolls into the ring and then gets up as David forearms Evans over and over before Aries runs over to Striker and pulls him back. Striker turns and Aries then takes his cigarette and starts to press the burnt in into the cheek of Striker. Striker yells out as Aries cackles and then David shoves him back. Aries then nails him with a throat thrust and then kicks him in the ribs and hits the Bad Trip. Heaven smiles as Aries gets up. Evans get sup and stomps at Dumont as Billy runs over to Amelia and stomps on him. Creek grabs Luz and holds her in the corner. Luz keeps trying to fight as is Amelia and Dumont, but the Fall of Man has them overwhelmed. Creek then pulls Luz in and pumphandles her before dropping her back with a hot shot on the top rope. Luz falls back. The crowd ohs. Aries stands in the ring, arms out as Creek looks down at Luz. Heaven enters the ring as officials run down, joined by SCW road agents, Lucas Knight, Dillusion, Hiro Tanaka and Dean Black. The crowd looks on.

 

Sharper: “Is Giovanni Aries…he’s with the Fall of Man?!”

 

Knots: “They are trying to shake SCW at its core…he would know how!”

 

Sharper: “My God!”

 

The crowd looks on as Fall of Man continues to attack Light in the Darkness and the Dangerous Minds. Officials enter, trying to pull them off as the scene fades out.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as we see Konrad Raab throwing right hands at Xander Valentine as he’s down on a knee in the backstage area. The crowd roars as Konrad then grabs Xander and pulls him up, but Xander turns and throws him into the wall. He then hits a series a hard rights and lefts to the ribs. Raab reaches up and grabs Xander by the head, trying to drive his thumbs into Xander’s eyes. Xander however knees him in the ribs and then throws him down. Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson run into view and both grabs Xander, pulling him back. Konrad runs over and nails him with a couple of shots.

 

Sharper: “And with all of the officials dealing with Fall of Man, Konrad going for Xander Valentine!”

 

Knots: “We knew they would fight. We knew something would happen!”

 

Sharper: “And Konrad hammering away on Xander! It’s three on one!”

 

Xander takes each shot as officials run into the scene. The crowd boos in the arena as they pull Konrad off of Xander. Dakon and Ludvig let go and they are moved away as Xander falls back and leans on the wall. He then motions for them to come at him. The crowd roars as the scene cuts away.

 

Dexter Grant vs. Kimberly Williams

 

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play.  A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight. She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is The Woman Scorned... Kimberly Williams!”

She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans. The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.

Knots: “Kim Williams about to kick off a new year in SCW facing somebody who might be as crazy as she is!”

Sharper: “Outside of winning a Last Person Standing Match during Fatal Fortunes, Kimberly Williams was unusually quiet to close out last year. We know she'd love another shot at the Underground Title but has to wait until Brittany Lohan gets the shot she's earned.”

Knots: “We also know that the Fall of Man are still blaming her for all the destruction they've been causing, even though she claims she's wiped her hands clean of them and moved on!”

“TokSik” by Starset hits as the lights in the arena immediately go out, a series of green spotlights converging onto the stage where fog has begun to consume it. The big screen shows a human eye opening, and reflecting in it is a montage of people glued to their phones and computers, either consuming or producing social media garbage as they all look sickly while doing so. “The Digital Detoxer” Dexter Grant marches out through the fog, stopping at the edge of the stage and staring out at the fans with disgust. A few cheers can be heard, but they're easily drowned out by all the boos raining down upon him. He turns his head to his right just in time to see his faithful flunky Wendell march out behind him, proudly holding up a protest sign that has the circle-backslash symbol with a wi-fi symbol behind the backslash and the words “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” written within the circle. Wendell eagerly looks up at Dexter, who smiles and nods in approval before he starts storming down to the ring, his disgusted look returning at the sound of all the people around him who just refuse to listen to his message.

Phillips: “And her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Wendell, from 'Off the Grid,' he is The Digital Detoxer... Dexter Grant!”

He jumps up onto the apron and aggressively steps through the ropes, pausing as he sees Kim roll out to the floor in response. Regardless, he marches to the center of the ring and turns his back to the hard cam as he points his thumb to the same “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” logo of his on the back of his vest. Wendell crawls into the ring and stands beside Dexter, proudly holding up his sign before looking legitimately confused as to why they're being booed.

Sharper: “Say what you will about Dexter Grant and his 'mission,' but it's hard to deny that this man came into SCW near the end of last year and quickly made a name for himself. In just a few months he's not only put together an impressive undefeated streak, but he's currently the number one contender for the Adrenaline Title as well.”

Knots: “The problem is that he might not be able to focus on that eventual shot against Glory considering he picked a fight with Ace Marshall, a man who's notorious for being the last person you want as a distraction!”

The lights return to normal as Dexter starts to pace around the ring. Wendell catches Jason Phillips as he's leaving the ring and asks for the microphone, which Phillips reluctantly gives him. Wendell hands it over to Dexter who watches the ring announcer leave before glancing over towards Kimberly, who makes a face like she's trying to take whatever he has to say seriously. Despite the fans trying to drown him out with boos, Dexter proceeds.

Grant: “Here we are again. Another week where SCW has tasked another one of their precious social media darlings to silence me for trying to disconnect each and every one of you before it's too late. I suppose it goes without saying that you all want Kim over here to beat me senseless, maybe even bloody me a little bit, huh?”

The fans cheer in response to this, and even Kim seems to light up at the idea.

Grant: “I hate to 'cancel' a brand new trend to start a brand new year, but by the time this match is over, Kim will understand the same thing I helped her sister understand some time back: when you rely too much on letting some algorithm dictate who you're supposed to be-”

As Dexter keeps talking, the camera catches Kim digging around underneath the ring for something.

Grant: “-then you become nothing more than a joke, a fad that everyone gets tired of sooner rather than later. None of you are fooling me. You don't actually care about this woman, you just want to see her maim herself because every drop of blood she loses is another hashtag for you to-”

Dexter stops as he catches Kim sliding into the ring out of the corner of his eye, and he ducks as she swings something at him! While Dexter manages to avoid it, dropping the mic in the process, Wendell isn't so lucky as we see him catch WASLEY right to the face! He hits the mat and rolls out to the floor as the fans are on their feet. Dexter rolls out to the floor on the opposite side of the ring and watches Kim pick up the mic.

Kim: “Come on, Dexy-Poo! WASLEY just wanted to say 'hi'! You were putting him to sleep hanging out under the ring!”

The fans are laughing and cheering as Kim kicks Wendell's protest sign out of the ring before referee Steve Hollinsworth asks for her to hand over WASLEY as Dexter slowly removes his vest, angrily pacing around outside the ring.

Knots: “What was that about Kim being unusually quiet, Adam?”

Sharper: “Even she's not interested in whatever Dexter's trying to preach.”

One of the cameramen grabs the microphone and hands it off to Phillips as Kim refuses to hand over WASLEY, but does go to set him underneath the turnbuckle in one of the corners. As she does, Dexter slides back into the ring and goes to attack her from behind, but Kim surprises him with Morrigan’s Wrath! Hollinsworth signals for the bell to get this match underway as Kim goes for an immediate pin!

Dexter kicks out! Kim just laughs and signals to him how close she was to beating him in record time, which has Dexter snarling as he pulls himself back to his feet.

Sharper: “Kim baiting Dexter and nearly taking his head off!”

Knots: “Could you imagine the posts online if Dexter’s unbeaten streak had ended in what could’ve arguably been the shortest match in SCW history?”

Dexter rubs his jaw as Kim just grins at him. He goes to lock up with her, but Kim backs away before rolling out to the floor. She walks over to a few fans in the front row and poses against the barricade as they all snap group selfies with her. (1) Dexter looks irate over this but makes no move to pursue her, seemingly content with letting Steve Hollinsworth count her out. (2) Kim chats with these fans, seemingly giving them ideas as they turn their phones to start snapping pics of Dexter in the ting. (3) Dexter, however, stays in the ring despite angrily demanding that those fans delete their photos. (4) Kim sighs as she sees Dexter isn’t taking the bait this time, moving back to the ring. (5) Seeing that he’s close to the ropes and still yelling at the fans, she reaches into the ring to grab his ankle, only for him to avoid this and stomp down on her hand! (6) Kim backs away from the ring, holding her hand, as Dexter finally leaves the ring to go after her, resetting the count. (1) Dexter stuns Kim with a hard right to the face before grabbing her head and throwing her facefirst into the ring post! (2)

Sharper: “Cooler heads seemingly prevailing now as Dexter puts a stop to Kim’s antics.”

Knots: “We’ve seen how effectively Ace has pulled similar stunts to get under his skin, so it’s hard to blame Kim for going to that well too!”

Dexter grabs Kim and rolls her back into the ring, but grabs her legs and pulls her into a position where they’re split around the turnbuckle post. (3) Dexter takes one of Kim’s legs and slams her knee against the post! The fans groan and boo as Kim cries out in pain. (4) Dexter grabs that leg and slams her knee into the post again! Kim starts scooting away from the corner as Dexter crawls back into the ring, running to close the distance before using that momentum to deliver a jumping stomp to the damaged knee!

Sharper: “Kim may have the experience advantage, but we’ve seen Dexter adapt before to a frightening degree, and this is proof of that ability of his.”

Knots: “A lot of Kim’s biggest shots rely on her legs in one form or another. If she’s got one bad wheel, it’s going to be a nightmare trying to use any of them to put Dexter down for the count.”

Dexter grabs Kim by the leg and drags her over to the ropes. She uses her free leg to kick up at him, but he dodges this before stomping her in the gut to stun her. He drapes her leg across the bottom rope before springboarding up and sitting down across her knee! Dexter does this a second time as Kim cries out in agony from the targeted attack. Dexter goes to do it a third time, pausing as he places his foot on the bottom rope.

Grant: “I’m doing her a favor! If I’d have let her play by her rules, this could be so much worse, but none of you deserve to tweet about that!”

Dexter springboards up one more time, but Kim gets her free leg up and literally kicks him in the ass, giving him enough extra momentum that he tumbles over the top rope and out to the floor!

Sharper: “Kim saving herself from further damage as she kicks Dexter out of the ring and buys herself some time to recover!”

Knots: “Maybe she gave him the literal kick in the ass he needs to actually do something in his fight against social media?”

Dexter rolls along the floor for a moment before grabbing at the barricade. (1) He starts to pull himself back to his feet as Kim crawls over to the corner. (2) As Dexter pulls himself up, ignoring the boos of the fans that are in his face, he turns to see Kim, still laying on the mat, posing near WASLEY. (3)

Kim: “Come on, Dexy-Poo! Take a pic! I’m sure one of them will let you borrow their phone! #KimAndWASLEY!”

(4) Dexter growls and charges the ring, causing Kim to roll away from the ropes as he slides back in, only for Kim to catch him as he rises with a scissors kick! She immediately clutches at her knee as Dexter is down on the mat, but she tries not to let it deter her for long as she drags him away from the ropes and applies a fujiwara armbar! The fans are roaring as Kim torques Dexter’s arm back, causing him to grit his teeth in pain.

Kim: “#TapBitchTap!”

Steve Hollinsworth checks in with Dexter, but despite Kim getting that hashtag going as a chant from the crowd, he refuses to tap out.

Sharper: “Kim trying to make Dexter submit to this armbar, but we saw the issues from Dexter’s earlier offense for a moment there off that scissors kick.”

Knots: “Thankfully she doesn’t need her legs for this hold, and it’s easy to forget that despite how crazy she is and her preference for the Underground, Kim can wrestle!”

Dexter starts to fight his way to his feet despite Kim still trying to maintain the armbar. After a brief struggle, he manages to free himself by kicking at her knee, causing her to drop. Dexter backs off to let her start getting back to her feet, only to rush in and catch her with a running knee strike to the side of the head! He goes for the cover.

Kim breaks the count by putting her foot on the bottom rope! Seeing that she used the one he’s been targeting, Dexter quickly springboards off the bottom rope and sits with his full weight on her knee once more! Kim rolls away from the ropes, clutching at her knee, but Dexter storms over to her and grabs her in a double wrist-clutch.

Grant: “Your sister couldn’t stop my mission, Kim, and neither can you!”

Dexter begins furiously stomping away on Kim’s face and chest, ignoring the boos from the fans as he continues his onslaught.

Sharper: “Dexter maybe starting to lose it a little bit now, and Kim’s feeling the full fury of his anger!”

Knots: “We talk about how nuts Kim is, but Dexter’s got a few screws loose as well and we’ve seen what happens when you push his buttons one too many times!”

Dexter ceases his assault and storms around the ring, pausing briefly to glance outside the ring and see Wendell finally recovering from being struck with WASLEY before the bell. He just scoffs at this as Kim slowly tries to pull herself to her feet. Dexter assists her, pulling her up in a cobra clutch position and going for the Unplugged, but Kim suddenly drops down and pulls Dexter into a clutch pin!

Dexter kicks out! Both wrestlers make it back to their feet and Dexter charges. Kim attempts to cut him off with another Morrigan’s Wrath, but Dexter ducks it and Kim stumbles because of her knee, immediately clutching at it. Dexter takes advantage by running off the ropes and catching Kim with the Clickbait! He goes for the cover.

Kim kicks out!

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams surviving the Clickbait, but that leg Dexter targeted is starting to become a problem for her.”

Knots: “We know Kim has a high pain threshold after half the crazy stuff we’ve seen her do during her Underground Title reigns, but Dexter has been relentless in his attack.”

Dexter glares at Hollinsworth, demanding that he had the three count, but Hollinsworth holds his ground on the two count. Dexter huffs and runs a hand through his hair before he grabs Kim’s arm and starts to hook her for the Disconnect to Reconnect. Kim, however, manages to roll out of the hold before it’s locked in! Both of them get back to their feet, but Dexter is faster as he tries to hook her for the Detox Drop, only for Kim to twist out of it and catch him on the button with Morrigan’s Wrath! She falls to the mat, clutching at her knee again, as Dexter lies lifeless on the mat. Hearing the fans begin to chant “#KIM!” gives her the strength to crawl to the nearest corner and use it to pull herself up. She smacks her knee a few times, gritting her teeth as she tries to block out the pain for just long enough as she measures a slow-rising Dexter. Once he’s back to his feet, he turns and Kim yells, charging at him for the Shadowblade, but Dexter rushes at her and before she can throw the knee, he spins through into a roll-up!

Dexter reaches out and Wendell grabs his hand from out on the floor, giving him extra leverage that Hollinsworth is out of position to catch!

Kim manages to kick out, but is just too late as Hollinsworth calls for the bell! The fans are booing like crazy as “TokSik” by Starset hits again and Dexter immediately rolls out of the ring.

Phillips: “Here is your winner… Dexter Grant!”

Sharper: “Dexter Grant stealing a win over Kimberly Williams, no thanks to that damned follower of his!”

Knots: “Hey, he got a faceful of WASLEY before this match even got started! Kim’s antics came back to bite her in the ass after all!”

Sharper: “There is no low this man will not stoop to in his bizarre fight, it seems.”

Knots: “And yet, not only is Dex still undefeated, but now he can add a former Underground Champion to his resume!”

Kimberly looks shocked as she clutches at her knee, glancing to Hollinsworth who confirms the three count. She pounds the mat in frustration as Dexter and Wendell back up the ramp, the latter raising the former’s arm in victory.

Grant: “I warned you, Kim! Blame yourself, and blame them for your failure!”

Kim glares at Dexter as he grins while backing up the ramp with Wendell.

We see shots of Team Desire celebrating with the World Tag Team Championship before showing Josh Hudson standing tall in the ring with Bree Lancaster, holding the SCW World Championship, and then showing David Striker diving over the top rope and onto Kimberly Williams, before showing Xander Valentine chokeslamming Kandis.

Fuzzy shots begin the video showing shots backstage of Simon Lyman talking to Amy Chastaine or Simon being friendly with her daughter Jaina Lancaster. Shots from BlackOut Academy are shown showing Amy Chastaine training people with Simon Lyman seen in the background. Shots of Simon training too follow.

 

We then cut to a shot of Amy Chastaine backstage, sighing. We see a shot of Amy Chastaine hugging Jaina Lancaster backstage. We see shots of Simon Lyman tagging with Amy Chastaine from angles in the crowd, including seeing them fighting the Alloccos. We then see a shot of Simon Lyman low blowing Gavin Taylor and then showing him hitting a piledriver on him before beating him. We then see a shot of Simon Lyman brandishing a flamethrower as officials stop him.

 

We then cut to a backstage interview. Amy Chastaine stands with Jessica Winters.

Jessica Winters stands with Amy Chastaine.

 

Winters: “Amy, it’s been a challenging time recently from what we have heard. And a lot has changed since we saw you in action in the Tag Team Turmoil. Simon Lyman your partner there. You’ve also taken on a mentorship. Helping Deanna Frost. Maybe the Chamber is in the cards?”

 

Chastaine stops Winters.

 

Chastaine: “No…I don’t think so. Beyond not, at this moment, at least aiming for that title, I don’t have a desire to enter into the Chamber. Not yet. Walk before I run deal. And yes, a lot has changed, but I’m focusing on one thing. Taking every match one at a time. I know that’s not sexy. People want to hear me call for a dream match or say I’m going back for the World Title. But right now, I need to make sure I’m capable of not just being at that level. I know talent wise and skill wise I still can. But mentally. And that’s going to take some work. And well, I’m getting there.”

 

Winters: “Sounds sensible. You mentioned the World Title. Simon Lyman challenging Kandis tonight. Who do you have?”

 

Chastaine looks down for a moment before looking at Winters.

 

Chastaine: “Go Kandis.”

 

We then cut to shots later on in the year where we see Simon Lyman fighting with Josh Hudson, before showing him cutting to shots of him increasingly more unhinged, showing him in a hospital bed, before showing him with Lisa Archer and Elijah Smith. Shots of him then on the microphone wearing a robe follow.

 

Simon: “Brother Josh!”

 

Simon: “Sister Bree!”

 

Simon: “Sister Breezus!”

 

We then see shots of Simon Lyman fighting Bree Lancaster, before showing him with Dylan Howell, and then cutting to shots of Simon Lyman with Dylan Howell in Bree Lancaster’s house. We then see him and Dylan Howell trying to grab Jaina and pull her into a trunk.

 

Lyman: “You think you can keep turning people on her side. YOU are the problem. I knew it. I KNEW it. Well, don’t worry, Jaina. You can get out of the way and people can see you, and Amy, for what they are. And we can finally end with this crap. Oh yes…”

 

We then cut to Taking Hold of the Flame. We see a shot of Dylan Howell being carried to the ring by six hooded men.

 

Sharper: “Simon Lyman was holding a walk before this event…and that’s Dylan Howell in their arms.”

 

Knots: “Great. We’re going to have a dead man in this one.”

 

Sharper: “Yes, a dead man in his wrestling gear!”

 

Lyman: “Are you ready for a truly wonderful moment?”

 

We then see Simon Lyman coming to the ring. We then see two men working on Dylan before showing Simon Lyman in the middle of the battle royal.

 

Lyman: “Rise Dylan! RISE!”

 

We then see Dylan getting “risen” slowly, taking a deep breath.

 

Lyman: “Rise Dylan! RISE! For a greater power! A greater purpose!”

 

The video cuts briefly and then flashes on as “Devil You Know” by Tyler Braden starts to play. Dylan Howell is shown still resurrecting before we show flashes of Simon Lyman’s past transgressions against Amy Chastaine.

 

Lyman: “I have tried to save all those near her…Sister Breezus….Sister Jaina…I was just trying to help, to rip you from that circle. Dylan and I were just doing the righteous thing. The hold of Sister Amy is too strong. But that is fine…you will soon understand the glory of him and that him is me…and Dylan…you will help me drive her from hell and into the arms of the heavenly!”

Just then, we cut to show Amy Chastaine arriving at Taking Hold of the Flame as the crowd roars. We then see Amy Chastaine entering the ring and tackling Simon down before hammering away on him. We then cut to show Amy Chastaine hitting him with the Lightning Strike before clotheslining him over the top rope and out of the ring.

We see shots of Amy Chastaine nailing Simon Lyman from behind with a chair. Simon Lyman goes down before seeing Amy Chastaine nailing Elijah Smith before then turning and nailing Dylan Howell in the knees. He goes down as we then see Chastaine standing over Howell, placing the Howell’s ankle in a chair.

 

Chastaine: “You’re staying the hell away from my family, asshole!”

 

Howell tries to slide away, but Amy stomps him in the face. Dylan falls back before she turns back and looks at the chair.

 

Amy: “RISE!”

 

Amy stomps the chair, crushing Dylan Howell’s ankle in it. Howell yells in pain as the crowd cheers. Howell yells in pain. Amy then looks at Dylan again.

 

Amy: “RISE!”

 

Amy stomps on the chair again. Dylan yells out again and rolls over and moves to the apron.

Shots of Spencer Pryce appearing out of nowhere follow before showing him berating Lyman. Lyman goes to nail Pryce with a hard right, but Pryce blocks it. The crowd erupts as Pryce nails Lyman with a hard right of his own and then another and another. He then whips him across the ring. The crowd erupts as Lyman bounces off and Pryce spins around him and locks him up before hitting the Epicplex! The crowd ohs as Lyman rolls through to his knees and then falls forward.

Pryce: “This is what you’ve become! It’s pathetic! And you could have actually done the right thing?!”

 

Pryce yells at Lyman before then stepping back and spinning through, but Lyman times it such to low blow Pryce, preventing him from connecting with the Receipt. The crowd ohs. Pryce drops down to his knees and then to his side. Lyman just smirks before then dusting his hands off and then miming the use of a wand. He then chuckles before wincing and rolling gingerly out of the ring to the floor.

We then cut to show Jaina in the ring and Simon Lyman rolling in after. A shot of Simon Lyman hitting her with a superkick plays. We see Amy Chastaine appear only for Simon to threaten Jaina with a piledriver.

 

Lyman: “And with us colliding at Rise to Greatness, a normal match isn’t going to be sufficient to do what I need to do to you so you’ll finally be gone. No…I’m not even going to try to save you anymore. It’s not worth it. You’re too weak. You’ll fall of the wagon again and everyone deserves better. Jaina, Bree…Spencer….Wyatt…”

 

We see shots of Simon Lyman attacking all but Wyatt.

 

Lyman: “So at Rise to Greatness, I’m going to drop you and leave you where you should be. There will be no resurrection because I will be the last person standing while you’ll be down on the ground where you permanently belong for everything you’ve done!”

 

Lyman looks at Amy.

 

Lyman: “Nod if you agree…”

 

Chastaine remains in the entrance way, ready to strike.

 

Lyman: “Nod if you agree or I drive Jaina into the mat and you have more blood on your hands! Another who couldn’t be saved under your weight!”

 

Amy turns away before nodding slightly.

 

Lyman: “Good.”

 

Lyman throws Jaina down. Amy then launches herself in the ring. She slides in as Lyman drops the microphone and rolls out of the ring. He backs up. Amy starts to go for Lyman only to stop and turn and check on Jaina. Lyman walks around the ring.

 

Lyman: “See you in St. Louis, Amy!”

 

Amy looks at him as Jaina waves off her mother. Amy turns and grabs the microphone as Lyman walks around to the entrance way and starts to head to the back. Amy turns back to Jaina.

 

Amy: “You are not going to be leaving St. Louis conscious, Simon!”

 

The scene fades to black.

Kirsten Scott vs. Colleen MacDonald

 

The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz wondering who is coming out.  As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The One on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.

As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...

AUS!

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage. Kirsten begins her walk to the ring with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Your Personal Nightmare, she is The One, Kirsten Scott!”

As she reaches the ring, she walks along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up. Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The One."

After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out in a "DELETE" motion, before quickly entering the ring, and immediately goes to her corner. She awaits the bell ringing to start her match. She also scans the arena.

 

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott in action tonight and you wonder if this is a cruel joke against her. The Enigma is apparently invited to be here. One night only.”

 

Knots: “And she’s looking for him. But of course, she’s in action. And you wonder what she really thinks about it?”

 

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling.  But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear. The SCW Underground Championship is around her waist. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play.  Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp.

 

Phillips: “And her opponent, from Orderville, Utah, she is the SCW Underground Champion, Colleen MacDonald!”

 

The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring.  She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring.  Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring.  Once inside she does look around the arena.  She simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand, warming up before the bell rings. She hands off the title.

 

Sharper: “Colleen MacDonald – remember she has a history with the Enigma too. Maybe this is CHBK’s way of giving Scott her best chance to lure Enigma out. I don’t know.”

 

Knots: “I doubt Scott sees it that way. Nonetheless, there’s also the fact you have the Underground Champion and Kirsten Scott may be looking to beat Colleen. Colleen is going to say, nuh-uh. And here we are.”

 

Colleen looks at Kristen as the bell sounds. The two circle briefly before locking up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Kirsten knees Colleen in the ribs before forearming her in the jaw. She follows up with a hard right and then a kick. She pushes Colleen into the ropes before firing her off. Colleen bounces off and Scott hits a back elbow and quickly goes for the pin.

Colleen kicks out. Both get up and Kirsten Scott grabs a side headlock. Colleen pulls her back to the ropes and fires her into the opposite side. Kirsten Scott bounces off and Colleen hits a shoulder tackle. Kirsten Scott rolls over and gets up and Colleen steps up and nails her with a hard right and then another. She gets Kirsten into the corner and shoulders her in the ribs once and then again and again.

 

Sharper: “Colleen mauling Kirsten Scott in the corner here. Hard shoulder thrusts into the ribs.”

 

Knots: “Whatever may be happening with Enigma, they’re focusing on each other for now.”

 

The official goes to start his count, but Colleen backs up and grabs Scott and whips her across the ring. Colleen runs after and goes for a running backsplash, but Kirsten Scott moves out of the way. She runs along the ropes, bouncing off and then nails Colleen with a clothesline as she bounces out of the corner. Colleen starts to get up and Kirsten scoops her up and slams her down before jumping up and hitting an elbow drop. She goes for the pin.

Colleen kicks out. Colleen rolls over and stirs as Kirsten grabs her and drags her up before pulling her to her feet and hitting a snap suplex. Kirsten then moves into the ropes and bounces off. Colleen starts to sit up and Kirsten runs at her, going for a running knee. Colleen drops back and Kirsten misses. She stops herself and turns around and Colleen gets up and lifts her up and hits a bearhug spinebuster. She rolls through for the pin.

Kirsten pushes her off.

 

Sharper: “And back and forth. Kirsten only two there. Colleen got all of that spinebuster.”

 

Knots: “You know – I wonder if both are thinking about the after. Colleen wants to win. Kirsten too. But they’re going big here. Big moves. Big impact. If Enigma is here-“

 

Sharper: “Maybe.”

 

Kirsten starts to get up and Colleen follows up with a kick to the ribs. She whips Kirsten into the ropes. She bounces off and Colleen hits a powerslam. She hooks the leg.

Kirsten kicks out. She rolls over and Colleen gets up and grabs her. She then pulls her up and scoops her up, but Kirsten slides down behind her. Colleen spins around and Kirsten kicks her in the ribs and hits a hairflip DDT. Kirsten smirks as the crowd roars. Kirsten rolls over and moves to a mount, hammering away on Colleen.

 

Sharper: “And a thinly veiled shot. Shades of Deanna Frost’s Spring Fling DDT.”

 

Knots: “That’s what it’s about. She thinks she can do what Deanna couldn’t. She thinks she’s mentally stronger than Deanna.”

 

Kirsten gets up and walks around the ring. Colleen rolls over. She slowly starts to get up and Kirsten runs over and nails her with a hard right and then another before pulling her up and whipping her into the ropes. Colleen bounces off and Kirsten goes for a back elbow. Colleen ducks and bounces off the other side and Kirsten hits a running clothesline. Colleen hits the mat. She starts to get up and Kirsten runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a hidden blade. The crowd ohs. Colleen goes down. Kirsten goes for the pin.

Colleen kicks out. Kristen gets up and grabs Colleen and pulls her up by the hair. She then hooks her up for a back suplex, but Colleen elbows her way out and then shoves Scott hard into the corner. Kirsten falls back and into a seated position. Colleen doesn’t hesitate at all and hits a running hip check.

 

Sharper: “Running hip check. Colleen throwing her weight into the face of Kirsten Scott.”

 

Knots: “Kirsten may not be conscious if Enigma shows up!”

 

Colleen turns and grabs Kirsten and pulls her up. She then hits a sitout powerbomb.

Kirsten Scott shoots her shoulder up and rolls over. Colleen rolls back. She then looks up and gets up and moves over to Kirsten. She grabs her and pulls her in again. She hoists her up for a second powerbomb, but Scott slides down in front of Colleen. She boots her in the ribs. Kirsten falls back into the ropes. Colleen runs at her and Kirsten gets another boot up before running at her and hitting a second Hidden Blade. The crowd ohs. Kirsten goes for the pin.

Colleen gets her shoulder up. Kirsten rolls off as Colleen rolls away.

 

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott with the two count after that Hidden Blade to the back of the head.”

 

Knots: “Colleen aint staying down for that. She wants to keep fighting!”

 

Colleen reaches at the ropes and starts to get up. Kirsten Scott pulls herself up and heads over to Colleen. She grabs her, but Colleen reaches up and hits a jawjacker. Scott falls back and rolls over. She holds her jaw as Colleen starts to get up. She turns and then runs into the ropes, but the crowd roars as we see Brittany Lohan running over to the side of the ring, having come from the back. Colleen hits the ropes and stops as Lohan reaches up and grabs her by the legs. She pulls her down to the floor. The crowd roars as Lohan then turns and throws Colleen shoulder first into the steel steps, causing the top half to bowl over. The bell sounds.

 

Sharper: “Lohan! It’s Brittany Lohan!”

 

Knots: “And you know what she wants. She wants her shot at the Underground Title!”

 

Colleen rolls over and Lohan grabs her and double underhooks her. She then steps forward to the steel steps and hoists her up and hits the Ultimate Solution on the bottom half of the steps. Colleen rolls into a heap. The crowd roars as the bell sounds again. The official in the ring drops down to stop Lohan. Lohan then backs up as Kirsten Scott is back up and yells at her from in the ring. Lohan ignores Kirsten Scott before suddenly, the lights go out. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: “Oh no…Oh no…”

 

Knots: “That’s it, I’m out of here.”

 

Sharper: “That has to be The Enigma. Has to be!”

 

A few moments pass, the crowd roaring as lights from cell phones can be seen in the crowd. A red hue comes over the ring as Kirsten Scott looks around the arena. We see smoke billowing around the ring. Kirsten Scott notices this and just watches it. Then, the Enigma’s voice bellows throughout the arena.

 

Enigma: “You think you can stop me. Not even someone going on a Crusade could. And they are a shell of who they are.”

 

Scott: “Yeah! Weak! Weak!”

 

Scott yells back as Enigma continues.

 

Enigma: “Your false bravado…you wish to see your façade crash. I have been waiting to launch the next volley. The time away…a mistake. A suspension won’t stop me. It only allowed me to gather my forces. Kirsten…you want me. Then I’ll name the place. Dogfight in Dusseldorff.”

 

The crowd roars.

 

Enigma: “You get SCW to let the barbarian that is at the gates step inside!”

 

Scott just nods as the smoke continues to billow and the red hue remains before a droning sound starts to grow in volume and Breakdown cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as we see CHBK standing on the stage again.

 

CHBK: “Welcome back to Breakdown and we have two more awards to give out…”

 

Knots: “CHBK not even mentioning what we just saw before the break!”

 

Sharper: “I think we’re seeing him making Kristen Scott have to come to him!”

 

The crowd roars.

 

CHBK: “And they reflect the two top wrestlers in SCW this year…the Female Wrestler of the Year and the Male Wrestler of the Year.”

 

CHBK pauses.

 

CHBK: “And to put it simply, the two winners are the two people who dominated at the top of the card this year and even faced off at the biggest night in wrestling of 2024…Rise to Greatness XXI.”

 

CHBK pauses again as the crowd roars.

 

CHBK: “To begin, I will announce the Male Wrestler of 2024. And unfortunately, despite our extending an invitation for him to be here, we have not yet been told of his arrival, but we cannot wait anymore. Your Male Wrestler of 2024…is Josh Hudson!”

 

The crowd roars. “Duality” by Slipknot plays as the crowd looks on. Spotlights shine on the stage.

 

Sharper: “CHBK noting that Josh Hudson is not here.”

 

Knots: “Still nice to give him a nice little play. Probably spending time with Bree.”

 

Sharper: “May very well be it. Hudson retiring after losing the World Title to Xander Valentine at Under Attack.”

 

The music plays for several moments longer before fading out.

 

CHBK: “Again, Josh…we wish you could have joined us, but unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. But nonetheless, your Male Wrestler of 2024!”

 

CHBK pauses as the crowd cheers a bit, although some boo.

 

CHBK: “But our final award…the Female Wrestler of the Year…and as you can guess from what I stated…she returned in 2024 and immediately won the World Title. She held it until Rise to Greatness…Fans…Selena Frost!”

 

The crowd roars and then boos.

 

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. She then walks over to CHBK. She then grabs the microphone.

 

Selena: “I don’t need to do a victory lap. I was the only choice. But…at least I showed up.”

 

Selena scoffs as the crowd boos.

 

Selena: “While Josh Hudson can be in past, Xander…maybe I need to remind you I will always be better than you too…”

 

Selena then steps back. CHBK turns to her.

 

CHBK: “Congratulations…but also, later tonight-“

 

Selena stops and turns back.

 

CHBK: “Let Ace and Blake-“

 

Selena grabs the microphone again.

 

Selena: “I will do whatever is necessary. Not for Ace though…for me…I sent a message to Blake and in 2025, I continue to take what is mine! Believe it…”

 

Selena steps back and turns as her music raises in volume. CHBK then watches her leave. We then cut to a panning shot of the crowd.

 

Knots: “Lots of tension in the air, huh?”

 

Sharper: “Well…either way, congratulations to all of the winners. 2024 was a hell of a year.”

 

Knots: “2025 is already just…”

 

Sharper: “It’s only going to get bigger.”

 

Asher Hayes vs. Chris Lawler

 

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation. From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits. As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, hailing from Nashville, Tennessee he is…CHRIS!!! LAWLER!!!”

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features, awaiting for his opponent’s arrival.

The opening riff to "Song for the Dead" by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 37 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a long leather jacket, his face full of focus. He bows down for a few moments before standing up straight, throwing both fists in the air, before making his way towards the ring.

“It's late enough to go driving
And see what's mine
Life's the study of dying
How to do it right"

He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rains down upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both fists into the air, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.

“You're a holy roller
If you bettin' to lose
If you're hanging around
I'm holding the noose"

He stands, once again, on the top rope. His expression remains focused as he looks toward the ceiling, before dropping down, removing his jacket and handing his belongings to the ref.

Come a little bit closer

Phillips: “And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois…he is…ASHER!!! HAYES!!!”

Asher then leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin. The ref calls for the bell. Lawler and Asher are shown looking at one another, completely focused. Asher pushes himself from the corner. Lawler does the same as they meet in the middle. They are then shown standing face to face, talking to one another.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes facing Chris Lawler. These two are no stranger to one another, having faced off in the past.”

Knots: “Hayes mentioned it in his promo, talking about defending the Underground title against Lawler. Asher won that match, but he said things were different this time.”

Sharper: “And tonight, we shall see just how different things are.”

Asher and Lawler are seen, still jawing with one another, before Lawler rears back and connects with a right hand. Asher turns head before coming back with a left. Lawler lands another right and Asher hits another left. Lawler, right. Asher, left.

Knots: “And they are not wasting any time.”

Lawler goes for another right, but Asher dunks under, spinning Lawler around. Asher hooks Lawler, but Lawler hits a back elbow. Asher staggers. Lawler connects with a right then a left, pushing Asher into the ropes. Lawler goes to whip Asher across the ring, but pulls him in close, hitting a short arm lariat.

Asher rolls over and goes to push himself up, but Lawler charges and kicks Asher in the ribs. Asher flips onto his back as Lawler follows up with an elbow to the chest. Lawler goes for a cover.

Asher kicks out!

Lawler begins to connect with forearms to the head and face of Asher, while Asher tries to cover up.

Sharper: “Lawler giving Asher the kind of fight he’s asked for it seems.”

Lawler gets to his feet, pulling Asher up. Lawler hits a knife edge chop and goes to whip Asher across the ring. Asher bounces off the ropes and Lawler catches him with a military press.
Lawler drops Asher onto his right shoulder, but Asher hits an elbow to the top of Lawler’s head, followed by a second and a third. Asher then hooks Lawler and drives him with a reverse DDT. Asher then hooks the leg.

Lawler kicks out! Asher gets to his feet as Lawler gets to one knee. Asher charges and hits a running lariat. Asher gets back up and gets Lawler to his feet. Asher drives a knee into Lawler’s abdomen, then an elbow to the side of the head, before whipping Lawler chest first into the corner.

Asher follows this up with a running to the upper back. Asher then begins to drive his right elbow to the lower part of Lawler’s back, hitting one, two, three, four, five elbows.

Knots: “Asher seems to be targeting the back. Could be planning to submit Lawler.”

Asher then hooks Lawler, hoisting him up to the top rope. Asher then climbs up with him.

Sharper: “What does Asher have planned here?”

Asher hooks Lawler, but Lawler manages to hit another back elbow, followed by a second, and a third. Lawler then hooks Asher into a side headlock and connects with a series of punches. Lawler lets go of Asher, but Asher maintains his balance, by holding onto the ropes. Lawler spins around, landing another punch, then a second, before hooking Asher by the throat, and drives him down to the mat with a chokeslam.

Sharper: “Chokeslam off the top rope! That could be it!”

Knots: “Shades of the time Lawler was a general and…well, dead.”

Lawler is shown crawling over and throwing an arm over Asher.

Asher shoots the shoulder up! Lawler gets to his feet and pulls Asher up from the mat. Lawler lands a couple of right hands. Lawler goes to whip Asher, but Asher reverses, pulling Lawler into a knee to the abdomen. Lawler hunches over and Asher hooks him, before driving Lawler down with a swinging neckbreaker. Asher gets to his feet then and hooks Lawler’s legs, locking in the Painful Hayes submission!

Sharper: “You were right, partner. Asher going for the submission.”

Knots: “Puts a lot of weight and pressure on the lower back. Lawler may not have any other option.”

The ref checks on Lawler, who is shown trying to reach for the ropes. Lawler begins to drag himself, along with Asher, towards them, as the ref continues to check in. Lawler keeps shaking his head no.

Knots: “Lawler edging closer to the ropes, but not doing himself any favors by pulling Asher along with him.”

Sharper: “He’s doing quite a number on his lower back. But, nobody can deny the fight Chris Lawler has.”

Lawler reaches out and finally grabs the ropes, but Asher doesn’t break the hold. The ref begins the count.

Ref: “1…2…3…”

Asher pulls Lawler away from the ropes, keeping the hold locked in. The ref checks in with Lawler once again. Lawler shakes his head no and begins pulling towards the ropes. Lawler gets closer, and Asher breaks the hold, slamming Lawler’s legs down. Asher jumps up and connects with a diving knee to the back of Lawler’s head. Asher then rolls Lawler over and goes for a cover.

Sharper: “Asher breaking the hold and taking Lawler out with a diving knee to the skull. With all that pain, Lawler may be out!”

Lawler gets the shoulder up!

Knots: “Nope! He’s still in it!”

Asher is shown smirking and nodding his head as he gets to his feet.

Sharper: “Asher showing his appreciation for Lawler’s quote unquote fighting spirit!”

Asher pulls Lawler up and whips him in to the corner. Asher charges but Lawler gets the boot up. Asher staggers back and Lawler hits Asher with a forearm. He goes for another, but Asher blocks it and hits a European uppercut. Asher then hooks Lawler and hits a buckle bomb.

Sharper: “Buckle bomb!”

Lawler staggers out of the corner as Asher steps back. Lawler drops to one knee and Asher charges, connecting with a running knee to the skull. The crowd erupts as Asher reaches over and goes for the cover.

Knots: “Dust to Dust running knee! Has to be it!”

The ref calls for the bell. “Song for the Dead” hits the sound system as Asher stands up. He looks down at Lawler while the ref raises his hand.

Phillips: “Here is your winner by pin fall…ASHER!!! HAYES!!!”

Asher pulls away and rolls out of the ring. Lawler is shown using the ropes to pull himself up. The cameras then show Asher and Lawler looking at one another. Asher nods before turning and heading up the ramp, as we cut away.

 

Backstage, we see Xander Valentine pacing backstage.

 

Xander: “You know…you don’t want us to fight yet….that’s fine. We won’t do it backstage, but you’re not going to stop me from going out to that ring. I’ll head out there and Konrad…you come out. SCW – step aside and let it happen.”

 

Xander looks at the camera.

 

Xander: “Because it’s going to happen here in that ring, or Konrad and I, the moment people leave, we’ll do in the parking lot. We’re getting our hands on one another tonight!”

 

Xander then heads off as the scene fades out.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as we see Chris Lawler backstage. He walks into his locker room and runs his hands through his hair. He squats down briefly before getting up. There’s a knock at the door. We see Destiny Page standing at the door. Lawler turns.

 

Page: “Chris, can I-“

 

Lawler: “Leave me alone!”

 

Lawler turns and grabs some luggage and throws it towards her. Page dodges back as the door closes. Lawler then grabs another piece of luggage and throws it across the room. He the lets out a yell of anger.

 

???: “Hey!”

 

Lawler then turns around as we see Wil Pierce, having caught the piece of luggage. He then walks over and places it down and looks at him.

 

Pierce: “Relax-“

 

Lawler: “Relax? Really? I come back-“

 

Pierce: “Yeah, been there, done that.”

 

Lawler stops and takes a few deep breaths. He then turns and nods and puts his hands up. He then turns and starts to walk out of the locker room. Pierce turns, only for Lawler to run over and just drill Pierce in the back of the head with a clothesline to the back of the head. Pierce goes down.

 

Sharper: “Lawler! What the hell!”

 

Knots: “You fool. You’ll have all of the Shinigami Foundation after you!”

 

Lawler then looks at Pierce. He then turns and storms off before Breakdown cuts to the ring.

 

Ace Marshall vs. Blake Mason

 

The lights go out. A few moments later, a white spotlight shines at the top of the ramp. In that spotlight we see a man wearing a robe that "Blake Mason Experience" embroidered in white. The lights to the rest of the arena come back on, the chorus to "The Night" by Disturbed echoes through the loud speaker. Blake Mason still has his back turned to the camera. 

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First,, from Boston, Massachusetts, he is Blake Mason!”

 

Blake heads to the ring at a methodical pace. Reaching the steel steps, he walks up them, on to the apron, steps into the ring. Blake steps onto the middle turnbuckle with his arms outstretched as if he's basking in his own glory. He takes off his robe and hops down. He immediately hits the ropes, then stops in the center of the ring. He drops down to his knees and points up to the sky before he stands upright. He walks over to the nearest corner to rest comfortably.

 

Sharper: “Blake Mason has been watching everything tonight. And he heard Selena Frost to close out the year.”

 

Knots: “How do you think he feels about Ace’s little hashtag?”

 

Sharper: “I don’t know if he cares. Then again, Blake Mason may have something of his own up his sleeve.”

 

Knots: “Maybe he’s working with Dexter Grant.”

 

Sharper: “Could you imagine?”

 

An emergency siren begins to go off, as a black and grey WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT appears on the screen.

Pyro goes off on the stage.

"ADRENALIZE ME"

The crowd roars as "Adrenalize" begins to play throughout the arena. Blue and green strobe lights begin spinning over the arena. The crowd cheers as Ace Marshall steps out on stage with Sophie James beside him. In Ace’s hand is a piece of bristol board and on it, is written “#SaveMeSelenaMommy.” Blake shakes his head as Ace holds it over his head and turns to one side of the crowd and then the other. Sophie runs over to the fans at the side of the rampway, trying to get them to go on their phones. Ace just walks to the ring, continuing to hold the poster over his head.

Phillips: “His opponent, making his way to the ring, being accompanied by Sophie James, hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, Ace Marshall!”

Ace reaches the ring and throws the poster to the side. He then turns to the ring and slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Blake, however, runs over and stomps him in the ribs. The crowd boos as he stomps him again and again and again.

 

Sharper: “And Blake Mason cutting off Ace. I guess he doesn’t care for these antics.”

 

Knots: “Or he’s ready for Selena to come down and doesn’t want to have to deal with Ace! Then again, kicking Ace while he’s down is always fun!”

 

Blake Mason then grabs Ace and drags him up and throws him down. Ace rolls over and moves to the opposite side of the ring. The crowd boos as the bell sounds. Aaron Demitra, the official, tries to get Blake away from Ace, but Blake pushes past and stomps Ace in the face. Ace falls back and Blake stomps him again and again before starting to choke him with his boot in the corner.

Blake steps off and walks around the ring. Ace grabs at the ropes and starts to pull himself up as the crowd boos. Blake runs over and nails him with a hard right. Ace staggers along the ropes and then gets up and turns and Blake nails him with another hard right. Ace staggers back before Blake throws another hard right, but Ace blocks it. He nails Blake with a hard right of his own. The crowd roars. Blake attempts a hard right. Ace blocks it and nails him again. The crowd roars again.

 

Sharper: “And Ace fighting back! Hard rights!”

 

Knots: “Damn it! Go for the eyes!”

 

Ace nails Blake with another hard right and then another before kicking him in the ribs and whipping him into the ropes. Blake bounces off and Ace hits a back drop. Blake rolls over and gets up and Ace follows him into the corner where he knees him in the ribs once and then again before pulling him out. He scoops Blake up and slams him down. Blake gets back up and Ace kicks him in the ribs. He then hits a snap suplex. Ace turns and gets up and hits a knee drop. Blake rolls over to the ropes. Ace then heads over to him and grabs him, but Blake reaches up and rakes the eyes. The crowd boos. Ace staggers back, holding his eyes. He turns around and Blake hits a dropkick to the jaw.

 

Sharper: “A picture-perfect dropkick. Right to the jaw.”

 

Knots: “Even better if it shuts Ace up!”

 

Ace turns and rolls over. Blake gets up and walks over and drives his elbow into the back of Ace. Ace rolls over. He starts to get up and Blake grabs him and pulls him up before running him into the corner. Ace turns around and Blake kicks him in the ribs before whipping him across the ring. He then runs after and nails him with a clothesline before then running out with a bulldog. Blake rolls Ace over and goes for the pin.

Ace kicks out. Ace rolls over and stirs and Blake watches him before Ace turns to him and Blake hits a dropkick to the jaw. Ace hits the mat. Blake gets up and just walks into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a knee drop before rolling through. He gets up as Ace rolls over and moves to the ropes. Blake grabs him and clubs him in the back once and then again before going for a back suplex. Ace backflips through though. Blake turns around and Ace kicks him in the ribs, double underhooks him and hits a backbreaker. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: “The double underhook backbreaker and Ace fighting back as Blake just tried to overwhelm him.”

 

Knots: “He may actually need Selena!”

 

Sharper: “He’s a former multiple time World Champion, Jon.”

 

Knots: “Drugs are a horrible thing. I assume. I don’t know.”

 

Ace Marshall gets up and Blake holds his lower back. He gets up and Ace grabs him from behind and hits a snap back suplex. He turns and hooks the leg.

Blake kicks out. Blake rolls over and Ace grabs him and elbows him in the back of the head before whipping him into the ropes. He bounces off and Ace hits a back elbow. Blake pops up and turns and Ace grabs him and hits a Uranage slam. He then hooks the leg.

Blake pushes him off. He rolls over and stirs and Ace grabs him and pulls him back in, using the tights and forearms him in the lower back before then hitting a Saito suplex. Blake rolls through. Ace goes over and hooks the leg.

Blake kicks out. Ace then looks at him and gets up and stomps him once in the face. Blake rolls over, holding his face. He starts to get up and just goes to nail Ace with a hard right, but Ace blocks it and nails him with a hard right of his own. Blake falls back into the corner.

 

Sharper: “Hard right hand. Blake just angered by that stomp.”

 

Knots: “Blake, keep cool. Just keep cool.”

 

Ace follows up and chops Blake. The crowd woos. Ace whips Blake across the ring. Blake hits the opposite corner. Ace runs after and Blake gets a boot up. Ace staggers back. Blake steps out and then kicks him in the ribs before hooking him up by the head. He then hoists him up and drops him with a vertical suplex into a knee lift. Ace falls to his knees. Blake then smirks before grabbing him while Ace is on his knees and hits a snap DDT. He rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Blake thought he may have it there, but Ace Marshall-“

 

Knots: “Like a bad case of herpes, he keeps coming back!”

 

Sharper: “Stop it!”

 

Knots: “What?!”

 

Blake drags him up and then hits a vertical suplex. Ace rolls over and stirs and Blake waits for him and then grabs him from behind. He sets up for a cobra clutch, but Ace fights it and then elbows him in the ribs once and then again before then snapmaring him down and then hitting a dropkick to the back of the head. Blake rolls over and gets up and turns to Ace who grabs him and hits an Olympic Slam. He hooks the leg.

Blake gets his shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Ace then grabs him and drags him up. He pulls him to his feet and then hoists him up onto his shoulders. Blake however elbows out and slides down. He shoves Ace into the ropes. Ace bounces off and Blake catches him and hits a cobra clutch slam. He hooks the leg.

Ace gets his shoulder up. Blake rolls off. He looks around and then gets up before looking at Aaron Demitra, the official, and grabbing him by the collar. He shoves him back before Ace starts to get up and Blake nails him with a hard right and then another and another and another.

Blake turns to Aaron and pushes him back.

 

Blake: “Just stay out of my way, Aaron!”

 

Sharper: “Blake having some issues with the official.”

 

Knots: “Demitra’s kept him away from Ace when he’s gotten too aggressive. Just let him go. It’s Ace. House rules or something!”

 

Blake turns back to Ace and Ace kicks him in the ribs and hits the Deadman’s Neckbreaker. The crowd ohs. Ace hooks the leg.

Blake gets his shoulder up. Ace rolls over and gets up and grabs Blake. He drags him up and then nails him with a hard right and then another and another before running into the ropes. He bounces off and Blake reaches up and rakes the eyes. The crowd boos as Ace moves to the ropes. Demitra reprimands Blake. Blake just shoves him back and he walks over and Ace rakes Blake’s eyes. The crowd roars. Blake then steps up and Ace scoops him up and into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. He then goes for the pin.

Blake gets his shoulder up.

 

Sharper: “And a nearfall. Ace taking advantage of Blake getting a bit too involved with the official!”

 

Knots: “Come on Blake. Just focus. Focus!”

 

Ace looks up and starts to get up and Blake rolls over. Blake stirs and Ace moves to the corner. He then sets up for the One Eyed Royal. Blake gets up and Ace runs out and Blake then ducks. Ace jumps up and stops himself before he goes into Demitra. Blake then hits a discus forearm to the back of Ace’s head, knocking him into Demitra. Demitra remains up as Demitra yells at Blake. Blake then grabs Ace and throws him back. Blake then walks over.

 

Blake: “Got him off you. Relax! Just stand there and wait for the pin!”

 

Ace rolls over and stirs as Blake then grabs him and hits a kneebreaker. Ace winces and Blake then hits a leg trip before driving his elbow into the leg of Ace. Ace grimaces and Blake turns and starts to move his leg and Ace to the corner. The crowd roars as Blake gets to the corner and starts to pull Ace around the ringpost. The crowd boos more as Ace looks around and reaches around. Blake then pulls Ace’s legs around the ringpost. Ace keeps fighting and Blake then grabs the leg and slams it into the ringpost. Ace grimaces in pain. Demitra starts to count. Blake snaps at him before Blake looks at Ace.

 

Blake: “You’re going to need Selena, Ace! And even then, she won’t stop this!”

 

Blake then bends Ace’s legs around the ringpost and locks in a figure four. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: “Blake trying to damage the legs of Ace Marshall!”

 

Knots: “Yes!”

 

Sharper: “Figure four around the ringpost!”

Blake holds on and Demitra warns him. Blake then lets go and looks up.

 

Blake: “I said stay the hell back there.”

 

Blake gets up as he then rolls into the ring. He gets up into the face of Demitra as Sophie checks on Ace. Ace grabs at his knee. Blake tells Demitra to get back as Blake then grabs Ace again. Ace however grabs at him and nails him with a hard right. Blake spins around and then turns and nails Ace with a series of hard rights before Demitra tells him to get into the ring. Blake just shoves him back. Blake then rolls into the ring. Demitra starts to get up as Blake then heads over to Ace and grabs him and elbows him in the head. He then places his head between his legs. He goes for a piledriver, but Ace counters and kicks his legs. He then pulls his legs out and hits a jackknife pin.

Blake kicks out. Both get up and Ace nails Blake with a hard right and then Ace fires back. They trade blows as the crowd roars, boos following. Blake then rakes the eyes of Ace. Ace staggers back and turns around into Blake who hits a vertical suplex onto his knee. He goes for the pin, but Demitra is pulled to the floor.

 

Sharper: “Wait a minute! Blake was going for the pin-“

 

Knots:  “Selena!”

 

Selena: “Aaron…you deserve better. End it.”

 

Demitra: “Sel-“

 

Selena: “End it!”

 

Blake gets up and looks around and sees Selena.

 

Selena: “I’m going in there no matter what!”

 

Selena then hops up as Demitra calls for the bell. The bell sounds. Blake then runs over and goes to nail Selena jumps back, landing on her feet. Blake looks at her.

 

Blake: “Really?”

 

Selena: “Treat people with respect for once and-“

 

Blake: “Just come on in then.”

 

Selena: “Another World Champion you fell short against. You sure you can handle me!”

 

Blake then reaches through and grabs at Selena, but Selena grabs his arm and then holds it before climbing to the apron and hitting a leg drop to the back of Blake’s head, driving him throat first into the middle rope. He falls back and into the One Eye’d Royal. The crowd roars. Selena looks in the ring as Ace rolls over and gets up. He gives a thumbs up to Selena.

 

Ace: “Mommy! You made it!”

 

Selena just rolls her eyes as Ace gets up. Selena looks at Blake as Blake holds his jaw.

 

Sharper: “Ace blasting Blake Mason. Selena was going to get in.”

 

Knots: “Doesn’t need to now!”

 

Sharper: “Blake going after her family. But you heard Selena…mentioning that Blake didn’t beat another former World Champion.”

 

Knots: “Both going after what they claim they hold most dear!”

 

Ace gets up and holds his arms up as Selena turns and looks at Demitra as Demitra shakes his head. Selena then walks around the ring. She heads to the back as the scene cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns to the ringside area as we see Xander Valentine walking down the rampway, without his World Championship, but instead, taping up his fists. The crowd roars as the World Champion makes his way to the ring, his music playing in the background.

 

Sharper: “And as we expected and as we said, Xander Valentine coming to the ring. He’s there to fight! He’s here to take on Konrad Raab.”

 

Knots: “And whoever Konrad brings! I don’t know about this.”

 

Sharper: “It’s not going to be a fair fight, but this hasn’t been from the start.”

 

Xander Valentine walks over to the ring and walks up the steel steps. He then walks along the apron and steps into the ring. He then brings his fist and the tape to his mouth, ripping it off. He then clutches his fists, making sure he’s ready. He then tosses the tape aside. The crowd roars as Xander walks around the ring, pacing in wait.

 

Sharper: “Xander’s ready!”

 

Knots: “We ended with revenge as the theme. Now it’s just going to a fight! A war! And Xander calling on it!”

 

Sharper: “Like a snake ready to strike…Konrad, you wanted this. Xander’s not hard to find.”

 

Knots: “They’ve already had a few skirmishes tonight already!”

 

Xander continues to pace back and forth. Cameras cut backstage as we see Konrad Raab turning and snapping at Ginny.

 

Konrad: “Get everyone! He wants a war, we’re going to show him what Europe is capable!”

 

Ginny looks at Konrad.

 

Ginny: “But-“

 

Konrad: “2025 will be our year! Get them!”

 

Konrad turns and starts to walk forward. He punches his fist into his hand as he reveals he’s in his wrestling gear. Konrad takes a few more steps as the cameras follow him. He turns into the tunnel. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: “You’d think Theron and Eriksson would be with him. Ginny seemingly going to get them.”

 

Konrad Raab starts to head through the tunnel before going over to a set of stairs. He starts to climb up them as he jogs up them. He spins around and then goes up another set. He then walks into a production room. He takes a step as we see Dillusion standing there.

 

Dillusion: “Konrad. You sure you want to face that. I-“

 

Konrad then drills him with a hard right. Dillusion turns and rolls over, turning away. He then takes a few deep breaths, almost as if controlling himself. Konrad then steps past him and heads over to the curtain. The cameras cut to the arena as we see Konrad Raab stepping forward.

 

Sharper: “Dillusion trying to stop Konrad!”

 

Knots: “Dillusion and Xander have a long history. I don’t know why you’d want to set off Dillusion though, either?!”

 

Sharper: “You see the look in his eyes?”

 

Konrad Raab looks down at the ring as Xander motions for him to come at him. Raab just looks down at the ring before we then see after a few moments, Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson jog out from the back. They walk over and flank both sides of Konrad. Konrad glances at both and nods before then starting to head to the ring.

 

Sharper: “Konrad not alone. I didn’t think that would happen-“

 

Knots: “He’s doesn’t care. This is bigger for Konrad. He wants to make a statement. Apparently, Europe is going to stand tall here!”

 

Konrad Raab reaches the ring and looks up at Xander. Xander motions to him, ready to fight. Theron walks around one side of the ring while Eriksson walks around the other side. The three start to surround the ring as Xander glances and watches all of them.

 

Sharper: “Xander now has to face three people.”

 

Knots: “Three on one. I don’t know if Xander cares though!”

 

Sharper: “And Xander is as dangerous as they come.”

 

Xander keeps his eyes on everyone before Ludvig and Dakon then slide into the ring. Xander stomps Dakon in the back before Ludvig gets up and Xander hits a left jab and then a right hook, knocking him down. Dakon gets up and goes for a tackle, but Xander blocks it and sprawls. He then clubs him in the back once and then again as Konrad rolls in. Xander then throws Dakon away as he gets up and then catches a hard right from Konrad. Xander nails him with one of his own. They trade blows before Konrad grabs Xander and goes for a European uppercut, but Xander spins through and then nails him with a hard left jab and then another before hitting an uppercut of his own. The crowd roars. Dakon gets up and clubs Xander in the back once and then again and again before Ludvig heads over. He clubs him a couple of times before Xander shoves both back. Eriksson gets up and runs at Xander. Xander grabs him by the throat and then chokeslams him into Theron, sending Theron down too. Xander turns as Konrad grabs Xander and locks in a waistlock. He then steps forward before taking Xander over with a German suplex.

 

Sharper: “Oh my! A German Suplex! Konrad taking Xander over!”

 

Xander rolls over.

 

Knots: “And That three on one isn’t looking good for him!”

 

Xander winces as Konrad heads over and slides next to him and nails him with a series of clubbing blows. Theron and Eriksson start to get up and Konrad grabs Xander and drags him up, but Xander suddenly shoves him back into the corner. He nails him with a hard back elbow and then another and another before Eriksson runs at Xander and Xander boots him in the face. He turns and boots Theron too. Konrad runs at Xander and Xander hoists him up and starts to swing him back and forth before driving him into the mat with a bearhug slam. The crowd roars. Xander gets up seething. He then walks over and grabs Konrad by the head and drags him up to a kneeling position. He nails him with a hard right and then another and another as Eriksson and Theron start to reach under the ring. Both grab chairs. Xander turns and kicks at the ropes, causing Theron to staggers back before doing the same to Eriksson. The crowd roars as we then see a fourth figure hopping onto the apron and then springboarding to the top rope. Xander turns only for the man to hit a springboard cutter. The crowd ohs.

 

Knots: “Who the hell was that?!”

 

Sharper: “I don’t…he looks a bit like Dakon! But the man just took down Xander!”

 

Dakon and Eriksson enter as Dakon gets up and fistpumps the man who just dropped Xander. Xander starts to stir as we then see a fifth member reaching the ring. Ginny is now at ringside as the fifth individual hops onto the apron.

 

Sharper: “And there’s another. And I know him! That’s Kemal Yilmaz! He’s been making waves in the Southeast as Konrad prepares him for this moment.”

 

Knots: “And he’s here! So he must be prepared!”

 

Konrad gets up as Dakon and Eriksson throw the chairs down. Xander reaches up and grabs the man who hit the cutter on him, Oskar Theron, and nails him with a forearm shot to the jaw and then nails Konrad with one before grabbing Eriksson, but Dakon kicks him in the ribs and then kicks him again before they whip him into the ropes and they hit the European United Drop on Xander into the steel chairs. The crowd ohs. Xander rolls to his back and Konrad grabs one of the chairs and then places it on the throat of Xander. He presses down, yelling at him. Xander kicks at the mat before Konrad rolls away. Yilmaz then moves into position as Xander gets to his hands and knees only for Yilmaz to grab his arm and lock in the Turkish Acid Cross. The crowd boos as Xander grits his teeth. Konrad steps over him.

 

Konrad: “You can’t beat this. Not this! Not what we’re doing!”

 

Sharper: “Xander trying to fight five men! And it’s just too much!”

 

Knots: “No wonder Konrad wanted everyone here. He knew Xander was going to be riled. He knew he was ready for a war!”

 

Sharper: “Xander tried to take them all on. But now, it’s too much. And Yilmaz is trying to rip his arm off!”

 

Knots: “So Konrad can beat Xander over the head with it!”

 

Yilmaz pulls back on the arm and face as Konrad leans over.

 

Konrad: “You think this is going to be fair! This is about changing everything before I call it a career, Xander!”

 

Konrad smacks Xander a couple of times as Xander looks up at him, gritting his teeth. Yilmaz keeps pulling back before the crowd erupts in cheers. We see a hooded figure running down from the back. They slide into the ring and Dakon Theron runs at him, only for the figure to duck and then grabs Eriksson before he can react and hit a huge overhead belly to belly suplex into a Dakon. The crowd roars. The man gets up, revealing the hood has fallen down, and revealing Josh Hudson!

 

Sharper: “My God! Josh Hudson is here! He’s here!”

 

Knots: “What the hell is he doing here?! Where was he earlier?!”

 

Hudson then watches as Oskar Theron runs at him, but Hudson scoops him up for a back suplex only to dump him over the top rope. Yilmaz lets go as Konrad gets up and grabs Xander. Yilmaz runs at Hudson and Hudson goes to grab him, but Yilmaz spins through and tries to take him down with an armbar. Hudson drops his left leg out and arm drags Yilmaz over. Konrad gets Xander to the corner and nails him with a couple of hard shots before Hudson then grabs Yilmaz and hits an overhead belly to belly suplex. Hudson gets up and Eriksson kicks him in the ribs. Dakon nails him too. Hudson falls to the ropes. Konrad glances back before Xander then shoves him back. Konrad staggers and Xander runs out and lifts him up in a spear before taking him down. The crowd erupts.

 

Sharper: “My God! What a tackle!”

 

Knots: “Jesus! Xander won’t stay down!”

 

Xander starts to fight up as Theron runs at him. Xander then just turns and throws him over the top rope. Eriksson nails Hudson with a couple of shots before he ducks under and spins through and hits a release German suplex. Konrad starts to get up and he grabs Hudson out of anger. Raab pulls him back, but Hudson hits a mule kick and Konrad spins around into Xander who hoists him up onto his shoulders. The crowd erupts and he then turns and hits the Valhalla has Fallen on Raab!

 

Sharper: “Hudson with the mule kick and Raab up! Xander! Spiking him! Valhalla has Fallen on Raab!”

 

Knots: “And it took another World Champion just to give him the chance! They had him! And they were going to take something from him!”

 

Xander starts to get up as Hudson looks around at the EFN who is now on the floor, recovering. Xander looks down at Raab before he turns to see Hudson, but Hudson suddenly kicks him in the ribs. The cheers turn into shock and boos, before Hudson hoists Xander onto his shoulders and hits the Kingdom Come. Xander drops down to the mat. Hudson then looks down at him as the crowd boos.

 

Sharper: “Wh…Hudson! Kingdom Come on Xander Valentine?!”

 

Knots: “After he just saved his ass!”

 

Sharper: “Why?!”

 

Hudson looks down at Xander as the crowd boos. He then shakes his head as the scene slowly fades to black…
