We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “It’s the final stop before Rise to Greatness weekend. SCW rolls into Seattle with Breakdown!”

The cameras continue to pan the crowd before we cut to ringside and the announce position where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Last stop before the biggest weekend of the year and everyone is here in Seattle. And that includes us. I’m Adam Sharper, here with Jonathan Knots.”

Knots: “Yeah. World Champs here. Selena Frost is here. Cid Turner, Xander Valentine. And you know who else. Waylon Creek and he’s pissed off.”

Sharper: “Taking his second pinfall loss to close our Breakdown last week. Not only that, huge main event – Light in the Darkness will team to face Chris Cannon and Syren. We’ll also see a huge TV Title match – David Striker to challenge Polly Pingotti. And Jon, have your representative figured out for Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “Oh screw off!”

The first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system as the crowd roars.

Knots: “Oh this isn’t going to sit well with some.”

Sharper:” And as we said it last week, Glory Braddock pinned Waylon Creek here on this program. Let’s take a look.”

LAST WEEK:

We open up to see Amy Chastaine in the ring. Ryan LeCavalier is at ringside while Waylon Creek and Glory Braddock fight in the ring. Chastaine rolls over. This leads to Ryan LeCavalier, holding her side, sliding in. She then runs over and grabs Chastaine. She clubs her in the back and then pulls her back as Demitra tries to get them out. Creek turns back to Braddock and Braddock suddenly grabs him and with all her might, sends him between the top and middle turnbuckles, face first into the ringpost.

Sharper: “And Braddock sends Creek into the rignpost!”

Knots: “Did he hit head first?”

Sharper: “I think so!”

LeCavalier clubs at Chastaine before Demitra manages to pull them apart. LeCavalier is pushed back and falls over. Chastaine crawls forward. Creek staggers out and Chastaine nails him with the Lightning Strike. She turns as LeCavalier tries to get past Demitra, only to then run at her and tackle her through the ropes to the floor. The crowd erupts as Creek falls back into Glory who grabs his arms and hits the Glorification! Glory then hooks the leg. Demitra turns and counts.

Creek kicks out just after the three, but Braddock rolls off as the bell sounds. The crowd erupts in cheers.

Knots: “Should’ve been a disqualification! Should’ve not been that!”

Sharper: “Ryan LeCavalier and Waylon Creek making a one-night deal to work together. Yes, those two working together and it did not work out and you can see the result!”

Creek turns and looks around. Braddock rolls to the floor as Chastaine looks in the ring and smiles. LeCavalier looks around, grabbing at her hair and pulling as Braddock holds her hand up, showing the number five before then pointing to Ryan and holding up six fingers. Creek starts to get up, looking around, showing a quiet anger, as his eyes dart around. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We cut live to show Glory Braddock in the ring, microphone in hand. She walks around, smirking as her music fades out.

Braddock: “Well how about that…Six straight matches. Oh…and who was the last, Waylon Creek!”

The crowd roars. Glory looks around and smiles.

Braddock: “Oh…and it wasn’t by disqualification. Wasn’t by countout. I even did something Ryan LeCavalier has only dreamed of doing…that’s that I pinned Waylon Creek’s shoulders to the mat!”

The crowd cheers as Glory Braddock walks around the ring.

Braddock: “Now, many of you may be going – but Glory…Amy Chastaine got involved. Well, you’d be right. I’m not going to hide it. Sadly, something Xander can hold over me if he wants. But then again, Waylon Creek brought Ryan LeCavalier down. He’s the one that planned to take me out. I don’t really care then for technicalities when the fact is when you open up the record books of Supreme Championship Wrestling. When you look at Breakdown – July 10^th, 2025, Glory Braddock pinned Waylon Creek. Period!”

The crowd cheers again.

Braddock: “And my win streak has continued. And it continues to have bigger and bigger names. And come Rise to Greatness, Ryan LeCavalier may only dream of what I did, but the fact remains…I know she’s going to be a tough win, only because for her, it has become deeply personal. Personal, almost to the point of being blind to the reality before her. She can be angry at my decision at Taking Hold of the Flame. She can be jealous of my victories. But ultimately, I chose a different path; I chose to bet on myself…and right now, is there anyone else in SCW that is at hot as I am…and more importantly, doing more to prove they deserve an opportunity when Rise to Greatness has come and gone.”

Braddock looks at the camera.

Braddock: “And that’s why I need win number seven at Rise to Greatness, Ryan.”

Braddock continues to focus on the camera.

Braddock: “Because I also know how losing on a big stage can make people forget. Whether it’s the spotlight, the personal nature…it’s personal for me in a different way. Because I need this win so when CHBK is looking at this roster in front of him post Rise to Greatness…he can’t ignore what I’ve done these last few months. And I’m not going to let you ruin it, Ryan. You can be jealous. You can be angry. But you will still be both when Rise to Greatness is over because I won’t let you have that opportunity to feel good! While you, Waylon, and anyone else who has a problem…they can watch what happens when a veteran believes in themselves and rises to the occasion!”

The crowd roars as Glory turns as Waylon Creek storms out from the back. He starts to head to the ring, laser focused on the ring. Glory Braddock backs up and keeps away from the ropes. Creek continues to move forward and head to the ring before running to the ring and grabbing at the ropes. He jumps up and Glory runs over and dropkicks him off.

Sharper: “Waylon Creek! Storming the ring! We said how upset he was!”

Knots: “And he’s incensed. We’ve seen him go for the shot, but not so openly show the anger!”

Glory gets up and backs up again. Waylon staggers back, but lands on his feet. He then starts to turn back to the ring, but officials and road agents run down from the back. Creek grabs at the ropes, but the officials pull him back. Braddock runs over and kicks at the ropes. Creek is dragged back, looking at the ring incensed. Officials pull him back as Glory backs up, still on guard, watching Creek. Creek keeps trying to get free. Officials wrap him up before suddenly, the crowd roars as we see Braddock taken down from behind by Ryan LeCavalier who had come from the crowd.

Sharper: “LeCavalier! LeCavalier from behind!”

Knots: “Creek got Braddock’s attention!”

LeCavalier locks in the Body/Prison as the crowd roars. Many boo as Braddock yells in pain. LeCavalier pulls back, gritting her teeth as she does. Braddock reaches around, trying to find anything for leverage. Officials keep trying to keep Creek back before a couple see what’s happening in the ring. They run to the ring as Braddock yells in pain. LeCavalier keeps pulling back as Braddock now starts to tap out, more with no other option! She yells in pain as LeCavalier refuses to let go of the hold.

Sharper: “Braddock tapping out from this hold. LeCavalier is trying to tear that arm out of its socket!”

Knots: “Can she keep the winning streak going with one arm? LeCavalier is going to make her find out!”

Two officials enter the ring and try to get Ryan LeCavalier off of Glory Braddock. She keeps the hold on for a few more moments before letting go and rolling over. Creek starts to be pushed to the back by the mass of officials. One official keeps between LeCavalier and Braddock as the other checks on her. LeCavalier gets up smiling. She then leans over.

LeCavalier: “If you’re okay with your win against Creek, then it won’t matter how I beat you then!”

The crowd looks on as Braddock grimaces in pain, grabbing at her shoulder. Creek continues to be forced to the back, while LeCavalier is pushed back to a corner and looks on at Braddock, her smirk remaining on her face.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we open up to see Waylon Creek still being held back by officials in the backstage area. He tries to get past before they push him back. He looks around before seeing the camera near him and storms over to it. A few officials try to stop him, but he walks over to the camera.

Creek: “Amy…I hold you partially responsible. You thought I threatened your career before….Rise to Greatness will be its end!”

Creek shoves the camera back and looks around as officials keep trying to calm him down. He looks around as we cut away.

Hollywood vs. Konrad Raab & Kemal Yilmaz

“Feuer Frei” by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace and the blowtorch with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace and the blowtorch in the air, wearing red and black skull face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change and has NASCAR Xfinity Series and Kaulig Racing logo stitching on the right hand side of his chest on his gear. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands. Kemal Yilmaz walks out with him and looks around, playing to the crowd too. Ginny Raab walks out behind them. Raab crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace and the blowtorch in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions. Kemal Yilmaz stands behind him, looking around.

Phillips: “The opening contest tonight on Breakdown is a tag team match, scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, accompanied by Ginny Raab, first from Istanbul, Turkey, he is Kemal Yilmaz and his partner, from Cologne, Germany, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and the blowtorch and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos. Yilmaz follows, with Ginny a few strides behind. Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes, while Ginny walks up the stairs and gets in the ring with Konrad. Yilmaz slides in. As he's in the ring, Konrad, without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, with Ginny taking Konrad's flanged German mace and his blowtorch away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head as Ginny leaves the ring and goes backstage. Kemal warms up, walking around the ring.

Sharper: “Konrad Raab and Kemal Yilmaz will be in action at Rise to Greatness. A rare tag match for both men. They’ll be facing the Product and the Connection.”

Knots: “And it’s personal for Konrad. Konrad wants Tommy. He wants Hudson. He wants Kandis.”

Sharper: “And Yilmaz, who by Raab’s own admission will take over as leader of the EFN whenever Konrad retires, gets to be in the ring with his mentor.”

A rush of paparazzi rush down either side of the ramp as a red carpet is rolled out. The sounds of Michael Jackson’s “Hollywood Tonight” begins to play as Chris and Ryan Hollywood come out from the back, prompting a shamelessly stolen trope of flashes from the cameras as they stand atop the ramp.

Phillips: “Their opponents, from Hollywood, they are the team of Chris and Ryan, they are Hollywood!”

They respond to pose instructions from the photographers as they move towards the ring. Once in the ring, they pose in the middle of the ring, back to back, as their music fades.

Sharper: “Hollywood meanwhile are still looking for THEM and Destiny Page.”

Knots: “Are they like…feeding Page? I mean being in a black bag for weeks on end seems really not fun at all.”

Sharper: “I don’t know, Jon. I’m just hoping she’s safe!”

The bell sounds. Chris and Ryan talk but Raab then runs over at them and Chris and Ryan bail. Raab yells at them to get into the ring as he then backs up. Chris and Ryan look around before turning to each other. They talk before Ryan slowly rolls into the ring. Chris pulls himself to the apron. Ryan then steps up as Raab looks at him. Ryan then points at him.

Ryan: “Hey! We were strategizing-“

Raab then runs up and blasts him with a European uppercut. Ryan hits the mat. The crowd ohs as Ryan rolls over. Raab then grabs him and runs him over into the neutral corner, driving him face first into the top turnbuckle. Ryan turns and Raab nails him with repeated right hands. The official comes over, calling for the break.

Raab steps back and walks around the ring. Ryan holds his jaw as Raab then runs at him and Ryan just gets out of the way. Raab hits the corner.

Sharper: “And Ryan Hollywood avoiding contact.”

Knots: “Raab was seeing red there.”

Sharper: “Ryan crawling away, but here comes on Raab again!”

Ryan gets up and Raab runs at him and goes for a clothesline. Ryan ducks and Raab stops and turns only for Ryan to hit a dropkick. Ryan then gets up and runs over and tags in Chris. Chris enters as Raab gets back up and Ryan and Chris hit stereo dropkicks on Raab. Chris crawls over for the pin.

Raab kicks out. Raab turns and starts to get up as Chris nails him with a forearm shot and then another and another before going to whip him across the ring. Raab spins through and sends Chris in. Chris bounces off and Raab catches him and hits the Burninator. The crowd ohs. Raab rolls back and tags in Yilmaz. Yilmaz enters as Chris slowly gets up. He then grabs him and hits a vertical suplex. He holds on and swivels his hips, getting back up and turns and pulls him up again.

Sharper: “Yilmaz now in and using that lower body strength. Manhandling Chris Hollywood!”

Knots: “Chris! You gotta fight back!”

Sharper: “Here’s the second vertical.”

Yilmaz takes Chris over with a second vertical suplex. He then swivels his hips again and gets up before hoisting him up and hitting a third. He floats over for the pin.

Ryan breaks it up. Ryan exits as Chris rolls over. Yilmaz grabs him and drags him up and runs him into the neutral corner. Chris turns and Yilmaz kicks him in the ribs before stomping him over and over and over again.

Yilmaz turns and runs over and goes to nail Ryan. Ryan jumps down, dodging it. Yilmaz then turns and runs at Chris, but Chris sidesteps, grabbing Yilmaz and sending him shoulder first into the ringpost. The crowd ohs. Chris falls to a knee. He then looks around before starting to get up. Yilmaz slowly pulls himself out and turns around to Chris who then steps up and hits a fallback pumpkick, kicking Yilmaz in the side of the head. Yilmaz falls to a knee.

Sharper: “And Chris Hollywood fighting back. These kids may not be all there sometimes-“

Knots: “Hey! They’re Hollywood elite!”

Sharper: “Sure they are. And they have some skill. Just they need to stay focused.”

Chris grabs Yilmaz and pulls him up and then drags him over to his “brother.” Chris tags in Ryan. Ryan enters and the two grab Yilmaz and hit a double front suplex. Ryan rolls Yilmaz over and goes for the pin.

Yilmaz kicks out. Ryan then grabs him and drags him up before then forearming him a couple of times against the ropes. Just then, a pyroblast goes off at the stage. The crowd ohs. Ryan looks at the stage. Just then, we see two masked individuals, dressed in full baggy tracksuits, running down from the back. Chris and Ryan look around before one hops onto the apron. Ryan runs over and knocks them off with a forearm shot. Chris then jumps off with a crossbody onto the other one.

Knots: “THEM! It’s THEM!”

Chris then starts to grab at the mask of the man he attacked.

Chris: “Where’s Destiny! Where! Is! Destiny!”

Chris then starts to bang their head off the mats. Ryan looks around as we then see another couple running through the crowd.

Sharper: “They’re coming from the crowd. They’re going after Hollywood…and now Raab and Yilmaz are caught in this too!”

Raab looks around as one then rolls into the ring and goes to run at Ryan. Ryan turns and lifts them up and back drops them up and over the top rope. Yilmaz gets up as a second tries to enter, but Yilmaz catches him and double underhooks him before hitting the Istanbul Acid Driver. Another tries to hop into the ring, but Yilmaz lunges at them. They jump back and point. Raab, however, then unhooks the top half of the steel steps and turns and throws them at the man, causing them to hit him in the head and he falls back. Raab just looks at the man, shaking his head. He then reaches up, demanding the tag.

Sharper: “THEM attacking the ring. Attacking Hollywood!”

Knots: “And Raab and Yilmaz more upset. They were getting some reps in before Rise to Greatness!”

Sharper: “Well Hollywood and the EFN are holding them off!”

Yilmaz tags Raab in. We then see another masked man hop over the barricade and runs over to the apron, only for Yilmaz to run at him and nail him with a clothesline. He drops to the mat and rolls to the floor. We then see Hollywood working together, hitting the Box Office Smash onto another member of THEM. Ryan and Chris roll into the ring, but just then Yilmaz runs over and clotheslines Chris up and over the top rope. Raab grabs Ryan and hits the Burn Pin!

The bell sounds. The crowd ohs and boos. Raab lets go and rolls over. Ryan rolls over into a heap. We then see some of the THEM members enter the ring and they run over and run past Yilmaz as Raab looks around. They back up as they start to stomp away on Chris and Ryan Hollywood. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Raab and Yilmaz get the win. But now Hollywood, being mugged, by THEM!”

Knots: “And they’ve ignored EFN. And I guess EFN has stopped attacking too! Hollywood on their own!”

Sharper: “Yilmaz and Raab wanted to win the match first and foremost.”

THEM stomps away as Raab and Yilmaz just look on before then starting to exit the ring. Suddenly, a barrage of pyro shoots out of the stage. We then see Patrick and Arnold Braunschweiger storm out from the back. The crowd erupts as pyro shoots off some more as they run down to the ring. We see two THEM members exit the ring and dive off the apron, but Patrick and Arnold just swat them down with clothesline-type blows. They hit the mats and rolls over. They then roll into the ring as THEM then scatters. We notice at this point, a lock of blonde hair has been placed on Chris. Patrick and Arnold walk around the ring as Raab and Yilmaz exit the ring. They start to walk around the ring. Arnold then notices the lock of hair on Chris.

Sharper: “The Dependables – Arnold and Patrick Braunschweiger. They’re here in Seattle!”

Knots: “And THEM is getting out of dodge. And what’s that on Chris Hollywood?”

Sharper: “Is that a lock of blonde hair…you don’t think…”

Arnold goes to grab it, but Chris suddenly grabs at it and backs away. Chris looks at it and then looks at Arnold as Ryan starts to stir.

Chris: “Stay away…this…this is hers. Did…they….you….THEM?”

Arnold: “Chris, you idiot. You need us-“

Chris: “NO! Hollywood will take care of it! WE will save her-“

Arnold and Patrick shake their heads.

Ryan then pushes away from Patrick.

Ryan: “You stood in the way of her dreams! She was turned down and-“

Chris: “No. WE will save her. They’re probably a distraction! THEM has gotten to them. We’ll see YOU and THEM at Rise to Greatness!”

Chris then scrambles out of the ring. Ryan joins him. Both show the signs of the attack THEM, and Yilmaz and Raab, put on them. THEM members are strewn about, down at ringside, while others have run away. Hollywood heads to the back as Patrick looks at Arnold and Arnold shakes his head. They start to exit the ring before “Duality” starts to play. Yilmaz and Raab who remain at ringside, having wanted to avoid getting involved in the chaos, stop and turn.

Sharper: “Hollywood telling off Braunschweiger. I don’t know about that.”

Knots: “They could work together, but-“

Sharper: “And now…that’s Hudson’s music! Raab and Yilmaz stood back, realizing the bodies all around could be a hazard, but now, Josh Hudson is coming out here.”

Knots: “And that’s got their attention.”

Sharper: “Breakdown continues after this!”

Josh Hudson walks out from the back as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

The screen cuts to the backstage area where we find David Striker, standing off to one side with a slightly distracted look on his face for a moment before he slowly turns to regard the camera with a very serious look on his face.

David: “Ever since I first heard of SCW, I felt a certain…pull to be here, call it a need…desire…something with a purpose called me to be here to help give *me* just that…purpose…

“But since then the Phantom Troupe and I have been led astray…*I* have been led astray. And I must confess that with the recent series of events, misdeeds, and the ilk that while my most recent misadventures have been misconcieved…I am slowly finding my way back to myself and in the end, I will accomplish all that I have set out to do here in S…C…W, there is no denying nor stopping that.”

David’s lips quake into a slight smile for the briefest of moments before he grows serious once more.

David: “I know who you are

I know what you want

I know what you are trying to do

But it won't work

I confess

that along this journey

I am going to do horrible, horrible things.”

David’s face lights up into a familiar, dark little coy smile…the same one that he had one his face during his “conflict” with Kimberly Williams over the Underground title…an old ghost slowly coming back.

David: “But I will never feel sorry for them.

I'm just a servant now.

I go with the circle takes me.”

The coy smile becomes even bigger, more sinister and hungry as well.

David: “And that path goes right through Rise to Greatness, and be me a champion before or because of it, I promise only one thing. Be it I win it or not, what I will do at the pay per view will be *GLORIOUS* and I will do things that will even strike dear Kimberly Williams awe struck with what shall happen that night.

“But tonight…Polly…I hope that you’re ready for this. Because tonight, I’m feeling like my bad old self again which means you and I, we’re going to have some real fun tonight.”

David then nods to the camera before he walks off, the screen returning to ringside.

“Duality” by Slipknot is playing in the background as Breakdown returns to inside the arena. Konrad Raab and Kemal Yilmaz remain in the ring as Josh Hudson stands on the stage, microphone in his hand.

Josh: “Konrad, Kemal, thank you for your patience. I realize the two of you share one brain cell so that’s got to be a bit hard. But I wanted you both to have to stand there and watch this.”

Josh Hudson looks at the ring, pointing at them. Konrad yells at him to get to the ring.

Josh: “You said that my boys aren’t getting in reps in. That they’re not competing. That they are not ready. They’ve been competing all over the southeastern US, as I said. And I have a treat for you. Because tonight, you’re going to see what awaits at Rise to Greatness. They should be challenging for the SCW World Tag Team Champions – sorry Shinigami, but you two should be waiting in line. You had your shot. You blew it, nuff said.”

Josh pauses as he paces a bit.

Josh: “But Rise to Greatness will remove all doubt because Alex and Isaac are ready. And Konrad, Kemal…enjoy this. You’re going to get a good sense of what you’re in for at Rise to Greatness! No revenge for you, Konrad!”

Josh turns and points to the big screen. He looks up and smiles as Konrad steps back, shaking his head. He turns to Kemal.

Knots: “Looks like we’re going to get another match from a local promotion and-“

Sharper: “Wait! Wait! It was a ruse! A set-up! Look in the ring!”

Isaac Stone and Alex Hudson are in the ring as the camera turns back and Stone takes Konrad down from behind. Alex Hudson grabs Kemal and hits him with a release German suplex. The crowd ohs as Josh Hudson laughs and starts to head to the ring. Alex stomps away on Kemal as Isaac stomps away on Konrad. We then see Josh Hudson move to the ring and yell at them, giving instructions. We then see Isaac look at Alex. They hesitate a moment before then Isaac reaches into his jeans and pulls out a pair of handcuffs. He then takes one end and cuffs Konrad’s left wrist before cuffing his right wrist, trapping him on the bottom rope. Alex does the same to Kemal, cuffing his wrists to the top rope. Alex then is kicked by Kemal who tries to fight off, only for Isaac to run at him and nail him with a running splash in the corner. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And the Product! They have Raab and Yilmaz both cuffed!”

Knots: “Yilmaz is standing though. Raab is down! Well…Yilmaz is on his feet. He can’t really fall down!”

Isaac then kicks at him as Josh pulls himself onto the apron. He starts to directing Alex and Isaac as Alex runs over and stomps away on Raab. Raab looks up defiantly, yelling at him to keep attacking. Alex stomps him over and over and over. Josh then yells at Isaac. Isaac turns to him and nods before stepping over Raab. Alex grabs Raab the legs and drags him a bit farther away from the ropes. He then looks up and yells at Isaac as Isaac jumps to the middle rope and then to the top rope and hits a huge moonsault onto Raab. The crowd ohs. Josh laughs and applauds.

Sharper: “Raab couldn’t protect himself! And Stone with that damn moonsault!”

Knots: “This is a hell of a showing though. They’re seeing first hand what awaits them!”

Sharper: “Josh Hudson still directing traffic here.”

Yilmaz looks out and kicks at them as Alex turns to him as Isaac gets up. Josh enters the ring and goes over to Konrad. He gets in his face, berating him. The crowd then rises, cheering, as Tommy Valentine and Kandis run down from the back. The crowd roars as they slide in. Tommy ducks a clothesline from Isaac and hits a running front dropkick to Josh. Josh falls back as the crowd roars. Tommy then turns and grabs at him as Josh rolls out of the ring. Isaac grabs at Tommy as Kandis nails Alex with a couple of hard right hands before backing up and then grabbing him and driving his face into her ass.

Knots: “Ass to the face!”

Sharper: “Kandis and Tommy Valentine – the Connection coming down here. And they’re going after the Product!”

Tommy turns as Isaac clubs him a few times as Alex falls through the ropes to the floor. Kandis runs over as Isaac reaches back, but Kandis grabs his arm and pulls him back. Isaac then shoves her back. She slides to her needs. Just then, Tommy hits a jumping gamengiri and Isaac turns into a Kandis Starmaker! The crowd erupts. Isaac hits the mat and rolls out of the ring as we see Dakon Theron, Ludvig Eriksson and Oskar Theron run down from the back. Oskar goes over to Raab as Josh slips around the ring. Dakon and Ludvig enter the ring and they walk around the ring. Kandis checks on Tommy. Tommy nods before we see Dakon turn and nail Tommy with a hard right. Ludvig goes after Kandis. The crowd erupts again.

Sharper: “The EFN are now down here en masse, but they’re now fighting with the Connection!”

Knots: “Raab still hates Kandis and Tommy. That’s not changed!”

Sharper: “And Theron and Eriksson taking their chance to facilitate that while Oskar checks on Konrad!”

Kandis and Eriksson trade blows as Tommy and Dakon trade blows. Oskar then manages to enter the ring as Tommy and Kandis start to get the advantage and Oskar hits the ropes, bouncing off and clotheslines both Tommy and Kandis from behind. Dakon then catches Tommy and Dakon hits the Blade Driver. Eriksson hits a knee smash facebuster. The crowd ohs. Josh and Alex start to help Isaac Stone up the rampway to the back. Alex looks back at the ring as Josh snaps at him to keep moving.

Sharper: “Josh Hudson and Alex Hudson with Isaac Stone, getting out of dodge. They set this in motion. Isaac half out of it thanks to the Starmaker, but now, the EFN have control.”

Knots: “And just like that, Tommy Valentine is down. Look! They’re getting Kandis out of there.”

Eriksson and Oskar then grab Kandis and pull him out of the ring. Dakon heads over to Raab as Raab looks at Tommy.

Raab: “Get me free! Get me to him! Let me get this!”

Raab pulls on the bottom rope as Kemal tries to get free too. Dakon tries to help Raab as Tommy rolls over, holding his face in pain.

Sharper: “They’ve got Tommy down. Raab still handcuffed. And he wants Tommy! He wants to get his hands on him with no one to stop him!”

Knots: “The Product handcuffed him. They hurt him. And now-“

Sharper: “Officials coming down to the ring. The Product again running off. Josh Hudson getting them out of here. Connection coming out to stop the Product, but the EFN, their hatred-“

Knots: “It’s only going to get worse. Thanks to the Product, Raab couldn’t finish off Tommy early!”

Officials reach the ring and slide in. Raab kicks at the mat in anger as SCW officials, including SCW’s road agents, Dean Black, Lucas Knight, Hiro Tanaka and Dillusion get into the ring and keep people apart, while Dillusion and Tanaka try to free Yilmaz and Raab. Knight checks on Valentine as Kandis starts to try and re-enter the ring. Officials keep her back to be sure as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we open up with Jaina Lancaster standing outside the locker rooms with her mother, Amy Chastaine.

Jaina: “Jaina Lancaster here, and I’m here with Amy Chastaine. Seems like you’ve gotten under the skin of Waylon Creek again and he’s made another threat against your career.”

Chastaine: “Another one…he already tried to take me out. Then again, after his little plot with Ryan LeCavalier and trust me, I won’t be forgetting about that either….he’s lucky all I did was remind people of his humanity. The best part, at Rise to Greatness, I plan to make it that that is all he will be known for. He’s human. He’s beatable. And like so many others…you show the cracks, and they fall apart. At Rise to Greatness, I’ll help shatter the myth of Waylon Creek!”

The crowd cheers as Chastaine stops and turns. The camera pans out to reveal Alex Belmont and Wil Pierce of the Shinigami Foundation. The crowd roars.

Belmont: “Hello Amy….Good luck at Rise to Greatness.”

Pierce: “Just like you…we won’t be forgetting either.”

Pierce and Belmont then walk past Chastaine and Lancaster. Chastaine and Lancaster both watch them walk by as the scene slowly fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Glory Braddock is seen sitting on a foot locker outside of the trainer’s room. We can see her arm in a sling. Angelica Jones stands across from her.

Jones: “How’s the arm?”

Braddock: “Sore, but right now, I’m just being told to ice it and be careful. I should’ve known. I should’ve known they’d pull something.”

Jones: “You were ahead of it last week and ultimately, they slipped and hard.”

Braddock: “And come Rise to Greatness, I plan to make sure LeCavalier has nothing to be proud of except the breakdown she’s going to suffer.”

Jones: “Good. You need to focus there and-“

Just then, Dexter Grant runs over, as fast as he can and drills Jones in the side of the head with the SCW Adrenaline Championship. Jones goes down and Braddock gets up, immediately lifting her arms up to fight, and wincing. Grant turns and looks at Jones.

Grant: “A little reminder for Kim! I said I’d go farther. You go after my family. I go after hers!”

Jones winces, holding her head in pain as Grant backs up as Braddock steps forward and then turns to check on Jones as Grant heads off.

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, Deanna Frost walks out from the back, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet. 

Sharper: “We are getting closer and closer to the moment that the SCW United States Championship will be unified. Deanna Frost is the defending champion technically speaking. She has told Asher Hayes, the interim champion, that he is defending, but by the rules of SCW she is.”

Knots: “But Asher is the one walking in with the belt. And Jordan Majors and La Pequena Luz are looking to play spoiler in very different ways.”

Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. She walks up the steel steps and steps into the ring. She then looks around as the crowd cheers for her. She then goes to the corner where a microphone is waiting for her. She grabs it and turns and walks over to the middle of the ring. She looks around as her music fades out.

Deanna: “Thank you Seattle…I appreciate that.”

Deanna looks around.

Deanna: “You know, it’s been both heartwarming and a bit anxiety-inducing being back. I have not hidden the reality of what I’ve been dealing with…from I guess Veil is his name now. The attacks, the fire…I like to think of myself as a strong woman. I’ve been through many. I don’t have to go through the challenges in my personal life…But it’s all made it just that much more.”

Deanna walks around the ring.

Deanna: “I’ve been open about why I am back. Jordan Majors was taking a title that I had held for over a year, one that I had put my blood, sweat, and tears into. That I had aimed to hold to a certain standard. And while Asher and Luz have met that standard, she spat on it for her own ego, coming back, stealing the title, claiming to champion, all because she deserved better. And for the record, back in the day, I did believe she did deserve better. But not this way. And I saw what she did at Taking Hold of the Flame…”

Deanna pauses.

Deanna: “Why am I telling you this? Well…”

Deanna looks down, clearly thinking her words carefully.

Deanna: “Because I may not have been ready to return. Luz has been supporting me. Amelia too. Even Asher. And I can look back to two weeks ago, when I was teaming with Luz. Her and I took on the challenge of the European Fiery Nation and Jordan Majors attacked me from behind.”

The crowd boos.

Deanna: “Yeah…and she used everything I’ve just said against me. I shouldn’t be surprised. I shouldn’t be surprised that she would stoop that low. After everything. And here I thought there could be some decency…well…I was reminded what people will do for their fifteen minutes.”

Deanna looks down, stopping. She then stops and turns.

Deanna: “Sorry…I….”

Deanna shakes her head.

Deanna: “There are things I haven’t shaken. Even now. Even now, this is the first time I’ve been in this ring, by myself, since returning. And it’s odd…I….”

Deanna shakes her head again and looks around. A faint “Deanna!” chant begins to break out. Some fans just look on as the chant continues to bubble up in the background. Deanna lightly smiles, while then looking down, in thought. We then cut to the stage where we see Dr. James Marsh-Asher walking out from the back.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost starting to have some challenges here…”

Knots: “Almost not sure what to say. That’s not like her. In the past, she stood up to people and just spoke her mind.”

Sharper: “SCW psychiatrist Dr. James Marsh-Asher on his way. Some fans may know him as Thirteen. Marsh-Asher has been employed for some time. Was working with Deanna.”

Marsh-Asher reaches the ring and walks up the steel steps. Deanna turns to him. She then tells him he’s fine. Marsh-Asher enters the ring. Deanna brings the microphone down. Marsh-Asher then steps up and talks to her. The camera moves in, trying to pick up some of the conversation. The crowd meanwhile grows a bit restless.

Deanna: “I’m fine.”

Marsh-Asher: “And that’s good. But you’re thinking…you’re looking around. You’re okay.”

Deanna: “Am I? Jordan played off that…Rise to Greatness…it’s….”

Marsh-Asher: “You can’t spiral. You need to focus on this ring. You’re safe. You’re capable. Has Veil gone against you?”

Deanna: “No…but….”

Marsh-Asher: “The Heart….”

Deanna shakes her head.

Marsh-Asher: “Did you bring it-“

"Hater era"

A laugh can be heard before the opening sounds of “Overdose” by Memphis May Fire begin. The song quickly picks up pace as purple, pink, and yellow lights shine throughout the arena, emanating from the stage. Marsh-Asher looks around as Deanna Frost then starts to look around too. We then see Jordan Majors walk out from the back, microphone in her hand.

Majors: “Oh boo-hoo…you’re looking around for the big meanie!”

Deanna looks down as the crowd boos.

Majors: “Maybe it will come and set you on fire! Maybe I can hire Brittany Lohan to terrorize you some more.”

The crowd boos as Marsh-Asher tries to get Deanna to focus on him. Deanna looks down and around and then out at the crowd before Majors walks down to the ring.

Majors: “You’re trying to spin a narrative that because I disrespected you and this title…that you came back out of the goodness of your heart…no, Deanna. You needed a reason to try and get over the hump, and you’re not ready! Just like Asher and his bullshit about wanting to be a better person. No one buys it and just right on, when you think of Frost…people think of two people first – Selena and Rachel. And neither question if they’ve got the guts!”

The crowd boos as Deanna looks up at Majors. Majors hops onto the apron.

Majors: “You have a problem with me Deanna. Everyone does when all I did was expedite things. And you’re the one who wanted me in the match. I just gave you a bit more motivation…or maybe I just wanted more legitimacy.”

Majors enters the ring.

Deanna: “You want to face me, to beat me?”

Majors: “Maybe I already have. LOOK OUT!”

Majors lunges to Deanna’s right. Deanna flinches as Majors backs up and laughs as Marsh-Asher turns to Deanna, trying to refocus her.

Majors: “Biggest night of the year Deanna. You don’t look like you’re ready for it. While I have been waiting for this…working for it for months! And I will love it when I stand over you, over Asher, and Luz too, and you all have to deal with the fact that I will be the UNDISPUTED United States Champion.”

Deanna: “I will do everything I can to prevent that from happening, Jordan. Mark my words. I will-“

Majors then suddenly lunges and goes for a Cash Out. Deanna shoves her off. Majors stops and turns and goes for a shot with the microphone. Deanna ducks and spins around.

Sharper: “And here we go. Majors striking first to try and again catch Deanna off guard. But she saw it coming!”

Marsh-Asher moves out of the way too. Deanna then grabs Majors and nails her with a couple of shots. Majors gets some body shots, before Marsh-Asher, as an SCW official, moves in and tries to break them up. He succeeds, moving to Deanna, trying to get her to calm down. Majors then lunges again. Deanna pushes Marsh-Asher out of the way and ducks. Majors stops and turns around and Deanna then lunges with the Burnout. Majors ducks and Deanna catches Marsh-Asher in the side of the head. He goes down and Majors rolls out of the ring. Deanna turns and goes over to check on Marsh-Asher.

Sharper: “Oh! Oh no! Deanna got Marsh-Asher!”

Knots: “Right in the jaw. Majors dodged and Deanna looked to take her head off!”

Majors smirks on the floor, looking in the ring. Deanna glances at her and then back to Marsh-Asher.

Sharper: “Majors taunting her on the floor. Could Majors do it and win the title? Luz, Hayes, Frost…they’ll all try to stop her.”

Knots: “But they all want to win themselves. And Majors knows that. And she’s gotten under all of their skins. And again tonight!”

Majors backs away as Deanna continues to check on Marsh-Asher, who turns, holding the side of his face. A couple of officials jog down to help Deanna, Majors smirks as she turns and starts to head to the back.

David Striker vs. Polly Pingotti

SCW Television Championship

Suddenly the lights in the arena slowly start to act up until finally they go out completely and then one by one, several cell phone lights start to flick on in the darkness as the sound of single piano key constantly being played slowly drops into a powerful bass line.

<These tears fall upon your alter>

<so clear now I have had my taste>

<this fear>

<left us so unholy>

<So cold as we test our faith>

A singular pale spotlight highlights the entranceway as David Striker walks onto the entrance way with Irvine in his wake as the video wall starts to play some of his more signature moments of his time in SCW before he looks at his right hand and they make their way down to the ring as "Nothing Left" by Everyone loves a Villain continues to play.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television Championship. Introducing first the challenger, he is escorted to the ring by the "Red Right Hand" Irvine Kinnes. Representing the Phantom Troupe at a weight of two hundred and thirty eight pounds from Cameron North Carolina!!”

The duo continue their walk to the ring, David's body slightly trembling with barely contained manic energy as they reach the ringside area and he wipes his feet on the apron before quickly entering the ring.

Phillips: “He is the self-proclaimed "Front Man of the Phantom Troupe"...he is the "Dark Horse" David Striker!!!”

David then quickly climbs the nearest turnbuckles and throws his arms up into the air to a large crowd pop before he quickly shucks off his ring coat and tosses it to the outside before hopping back down into the ring and he leans against the turnbuckles, waiting for his opponent while Irvine slides to the outside.

Sharper: “This could be an interesting one. Thanks to David Striker, he’s tried to help Polly Pingotti. The Scaffold Scramble is returning at Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “And he says we’re going to see the old David Striker. He’s trying to find himself. I hope it involves growing a thicker skin and focusing on what matters – what happens inside those ropes!”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot.  A few seconds pass, which is when an open field is shown up on the SCW tron.  A flock of birds rise up from the tall grass and fly away as the sound of a piano can be heard playing, leading into the opening of "Bird Set Free" by Sia.  The moment the opening words are heard, Polly steps out from the back wearing a black skirt and matching black halter top, wheeling out a small red wagon with her right hand.  She stops and stands at the forefront of the stage. The SCW Television Championship is around her waist. She looks up at the tron to see one straggling bird rise up from the grass all by its lonesome.  Polly admires the one small bird that begins to fly away now too until Sia reaches the chorus, which is when she turns around as a pair of pyros goes off on each side of the entranceway.  The nearest camera catches her piercing bright green eyes as she begins to walk down the ramp and down to the ring.  The crowd has an aura of uncertainty as they all watch her go.

Phillips: “His opponent, making her way to the ring, from Panguitch, Utah, the SCW Television Champion, Polly Pingotti!!!”

No smile comes to Polly's face as her unmistakable green eyes are just locked on the ring in front of her.  As she arrives at the ring apron, she places her left hand into the left pocket of the black skirt she has on and pulls out a black diamond.  She looks very entranced by it.  As her music comes back around to the second chorus, she puts the diamond back into her pocket and seals the skirt's velcro pocket shut.  Polly then goes to the steel ring steps, parks her small red wagon, and then walks up the steps and gets into the ring.  Once inside the ring she stands right in the middle, closes her eyes, and presents a flying motion.  She opens her eyes back up and light on her feet chooses a corner of the ring to wait in.  She crosses her arms in front of her and starts tapping her left foot, looking now to the stage so she can look into the eyes of her opponent. The official, Steve Hollinsworth walks over and takes the SCW Television Championship. He holds it over his head as the SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen. Hollinsworth hands off the title.

Sharper: “Pingotti again the Television Champion. She defeated Chris Lawler last week for the title. And maybe it’s a sign things are coming together.”

Knots: “But she’ll tell you this – one match is just that. But we’ve seen people take the TV Title to course correct before. Chris Lawler is one. Polly was until she lost it. So we’ll see.”

The bell sounds as Polly and David circle the ring. Striker extends his hand, but Polly slaps it away. They continue to circle before David lunges and Polly ducks under and around and into a side headlock. She pulls back as David reaches around and pulls her to the ropes and fires her off. She bounces off and Striker shoulders her down. Striker turns to the ropes. He bounces off. Polly goes for a drop down. Striker hops over. He hits the ropes. Polly leapfrogs over. Striker hits the other ropes. She drops down again. He hops over again and bounces off and Polly drops him with a dropkick. The crowd ohs. Polly goes for the pin.

Striker kicks out. He rolls over, holding his jaw and Polly follows up and forearms him in the jaw over and over again.

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti – that aggressiveness we’ve seen from her. So far working out for her.”

Knots: “Striker is still feeling that dropkick. She got all of it!”

Polly then goes to whip Striker across, but he spins through and sends her in. She jumps to the middle rope. She then dives back and hits a crossbody into a pin.

Striker kicks out and both get up and Striker catches her with a Shotei. Polly staggers to the ropes. Striker then turns and runs at her and drills her with a second shotei, this one sending her through the ropes to the floor. (1) She winces and holds her jaw. Striker then runs across the ring, bouncing off and runs across, diving through the ropes with a suicide dive. Polly falls back into the barricade as both fall to the floor. (1)

Sharper: “Striker to the air! The suicide dive. Through the ropes! And right on contact.”

Knots: “And Polly just got knocked around like a pinball in a pinball machine!”

She rolls over. Striker gets up. (2) He then drags her up and runs her into the ring. She rolls over. Striker rolls in after. She gets up and Striker drops her with a hard clothesline. He goes for the pin.

Polly kicks out. She turns and starts to get up and Striker grabs her and hooks her up in a single underhook and suplexes her over. Polly rolls over and moves to the corner. Striker follows up and forearms her in the jaw and then kicks her in the ribs before forearming her again. He whips her across the ring. Striker runs after, but Polly flips up the corner and over the top rope, landing on the apron. Striker stops himself and turns, but Polly hits a pump kick. Striker staggers back. Polly climbs to the top rope. Striker turns and Polly hits a missile dropkick.

Sharper: “Polly off the top! A hard kick. The dropkick!”

Knots: “And maybe a retention!”

Polly hooks the legs.

Striker kicks out.

Knots: “Not yet!”

Polly then pushes Striker down and jumps up and stomps him in the face. Striker turns and starts to get up and Polly chops him in the chest. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. She then grabs him by the head and runs up the corner, going for a bulldog, but Striker throws her off. She lands on her feet and stops. She turns around and runs at Striker who hits a snap overhead belly to belly suplex into the corner. The crowd ohs. Striker rolls over and starts to get up. Polly remains down and Striker staggers to his feet before running into the ropes. He bounces off and runs to Polly, who remains upside down, and jumps up and hits a diving elbow drop to her chest. The crowd ohs. Striker drags her out and goes for the pin.

Pingotti kicks out.

Knots: “Striker trying to help Polly before. Now, they’re just going at each other hard.”

Sharper: “No half measures and it would almost be more insulting if he took it easy on her. And vice versa.”

Knots: “Well they’re wearing each other out for the TV Title!”

Sharper: “As we say – you want to be a champion. And in SCW, the competition is fierce for every title!”

Pingotti rolls over and starts to get up and Striker grabs her by the arm and wrenches through before putting her into a hammerlock and dropping her with the Shadowblade. The crowd ohs. Striker rolls her over and hooks the legs.

Polly gets a shoulder up. Striker looks up and then starts to get up. He hits an elbow drop before getting up and hitting a second one. He then turns and gets up and grabs her. He then whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Striker goes to spin through for a snap dragon suplex, but Polly spins through some more, both holding onto each other’s arm, but Polly hits a chick kick to Striker’s head. He staggers and turns and Polly hits a jumping enziguri. Striker falls to a knee and Polly grabs him and hits a DDT. She rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Striker gets his shoulder up. Polly looks up and then stomps him a few times for good measure.

Sharper: “Pingotti, only gets a two after that DDT.”

Knots: “Don’t worry. She’s stomping the hell out of him. I wouldn’t mind that shot too.”

Sharper: “Polly turning to the corner now. Gears turning.”

Polly Pingotti exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. She gets to the top rope, but Striker pulls himself up. He then runs over to the corner and nails him her with a hard right to the stomach. He then grabs her arms, crosses them, before stepping up and hitting an iconoclasm and sits out for the pin.

Polly kicks out. Polly rolls over. She starts to get up and Striker runs past her and jumps to the middle rope before hitting the Black Meteor. He hooks the leg.

Pingotti shoots her shoulder up. Striker looks up. He then grabs her and drags her up and places her head between his legs and hoists her up before spinning around with a sitout powerbomb. He rolls back instead of staying for the pin. The crowd cheers as Striker exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. He stands at the top and points to the heavens before diving off with an elbow drop, only for Pingotti to roll out of the way. The crowd ohs as Striker hits the mat. He slowly gets up and Polly runs at him and grabs his head and spins through into a tornado DDT! She then hooks the leg.

Striker gets his shoulder up. Polly rolls off. She looks around and gets up and Striker slowly starts to get up and Polly then hits the rope and jumps up and hits the Head Turner. Striker rolls to his back. Polly falls to the corner. She looks back and pulls herself up to the middle turnbuckle and then to the top rope before looking down and hitting a top rope splash!

Sharper: “Pingotti! From the top! Splash!”

Knots: “Right on target!”

Striker shoots his shoulder up.

Sharper: “And Striker kicks out! Oh my!”

Knots: “How?!”

Striker rolls over to his side. Polly looks around. She then gets up and grabs him and drags him up. She clubs him in the back a couple of times before then placing his head between her legs. She jumps up for the Polly Pop, but Striker goes for a back drop. Polly spins through and ends up behind him. She runs him into the ropes and pulls him back into an Okana roll.

Striker kicks out. Both get up and Polly goes for a clothesline, but Striker ducks and catches her and hits a snap German suplex. Polly rolls through to her stomach. She slowly gets up, but Striker gets up and quickly scales the turnbuckle and hits the Viva la *BAM*. The crowd ohs. He rolls her over and hooks the leg.

Polly shoots her shoulder up. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And Striker! Striker thought he had it, but Pingotti, kicking out!”

Knots: “They both don’t want to lose this. They are beating the hell out of each other before Rise to Greatness! When they both get up on a scaffold for a US Title shot!”

Striker turns and looks at Polly. Polly starts to roll over and looks over at him. David Striker then gets up and grabs Polly. He then pulls her in, but Polly spins out, avoiding the Equivalent Exchange. She then goes for a kick, but Striker catches the leg and spins her around. He then jumps up for the Yamato, but Polly drops back and rolls him up into a school boy.

The crowd roars as Polly lets go and rolls over. David turns and looks over. He then looks around, almost stunned.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and STILL SCW Television Champion, Polly Pingotti!”

Sharper: “Polly getting it done. The school boy. Dropping down. Had it scouted!”

Knots: “And Striker can’t believe it!”

Striker looks around as Polly turns. She’s handed the TV title and looks at Striker. Striker moves to his knees and looks at her. Polly doesn’t say anything before Striker does.

Striker: “Not going to happen at Rise to Greatness. Enjoy this now, Polly!”

Polly looks at Striker as Striker rolls out of the ring.

Striker: “At Rise to Greatness, I unleash!”

Polly looks at Striker as he backs away. He then looks around as Polly holds up the TV Title and the scene cuts away.

Chris Dumont vs. Crystal Zdunich

The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal's voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.

"YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!"

As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros.

“Smile Bomb” by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red haired "Burning Rose" Crystal Zdunich walks from the curtains. She makes her way to the ring. Crystal is focused as she walks to the ring with a purpose.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a ten minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, she is the Burning Rose, Crystal Zdunich!”

She however slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way. She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside she kips up to her feet. She tosses her Shoto inspired hoodie to ringside as she awaits the start of the match.

Sharper: “Zdunich hoping to play spoiler tonight on Breakdown.”

Knots: “I may be the biggest Zdunich fan in the galaxy tonight.”

Sharper: “Facing Chris Dumont. And have you found someone yet?”

Knots: “Look! I’m working on it! Okay?!”

“Wild Thing” by X plays as the crowd roars. A few moments pass before “Ronin” Chris Dumont walks out from the back. Dumont looks down at the ring before turning to the crowd, before starting to motion to them to make some more noise. They oblige as they cheer and Dumont then starts to head to the ring.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is Ronin, Chris Dumont!”

Dumont walks with purpose. Zdunich stretches out in the ring as Dumont reaches the ring and looks at it and then slides in. He gets up and runs the ropes a bit before briefly looking at Knots. The crowd looks on before Zdunich, seeing her opportunity, runs across and nails Dumont with a running dropkick. Dumont falls back into the corner. The bell sounds.

Knots: “Keep your eyes on the prize, Dumont!”

Sharper: “And Crystal Zdunich hitting a dropkick – full speed at Dumont’s head.”

Knots: “How sad would it be if he gets hurt tonight? When he recovers, he can beg for my forgiveness!”

Zdunich gets up and runs over and blasts Dumont with a series of hard forearm shot to the jaw. The official runs over and calls for the break.

Zdunich pulls away, throwing her arms down in annoyance. She walks around the ring as Dumont steps out and Zdunich then runs over and hits a spinning heel kick. Dumont hits the mat. Zdunich goes for the pin.

Dumont kicks out. He rolls over and moves to the ropes. Zdunich then jumps onto his back and clubs him over and over in the back of the head. Dumont manages to get to his feet and staggers back and then grabs her by the head and then turns and runs at the corner, bending over, driving Zdunich face first into the top turnbuckle. She falls back, holding her face.

Sharper: “And Dumont managing to get Zdunich off his back. Using the turnbuckles as a weapon!”

Knots: “Hey!”

Sharper: “And Dumont resetting! Zdunich! Now the match is here!”

Zdunich gets up and Dumont runs out and drills her with a lariat. The crowd ohs as Zdunich backflips from the impact. Dumont then turns and hooks the leg.

Zdunich gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and starts to crawl to the corner. Dumont follows and forearms her in the jaw before kicking her in the ribs and then whipping her across the ring. She hits the corner and goes to float over, but Dumont catches her on his shoulder. He then turns and then throws her forward, driving her face and chest first into the mat. Zdunich rolls over in pain. She starts to get up and Dumont hits a discus palm strike. Zdunich drops.

Sharper: “Another hard strike. Dumont with that vicious shotei!”

Knots: “Come on Crystal! You had such a good start. A great start!”

Sharper: “And Dumont has turned this around hard on her.”

Dumont drags her up and then forearms her in the jaw. He then whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Dumont hoists her up onto his shoulders. He spins around in an airplane spin, making a few rotations before stopping and hitting a forward fireman’s carry slam. He hooks the leg.

Zdunich gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and moves to the corner. Dumont gets up and follows and Zdunich reaches up and rakes the eyes. The crowd boos as Dumont staggers back, holding his face. He clears his eyes and turns around and Zdunich hits a jumping enziguri. He falls to a knee and Zdunich gets up and hits the Flashing Lights. Dumont drops and Zdunich goes for the pin.

Dumont kicks out defiantly.

Sharper: “And Dumont refusing to stay down. Several hard kicks and Dumont finding the way to kick out.”

Knots: “Do it again, Crystal! That worked. Kick him some more!”

Dumont rolls over and Zdunich turns and hits a shoot kick to his side and then hits another and another before kicking him in the head. He drops and Zdunich smirks before exiting to the apron. She then climbs up to the top rope. Dumont starts to get up and Zdunich looks at him before then diving off and going for a diving hurricanrana, but Dumont catches her and hangs her upside down. He drops to a knee, driving her head into the mat before then swinging her back up and hitting a huge snap powerbomb. The crowd ohs. Zdunich rolls over as Dumont walks around the ring. Zdunich slowly gets up, staggering and Dumont then hoists her up and plants her with the Thrill of the Hunt. He presses down for the pin.

Zdunich gets her shoulder up.

Sharper: “And two and nine-tenths. Zdunich getting that shoulder up.”

Knots: “Heart of a champion!”

Dumont looks up and then turns and looks at Knots. He points to him and then to Crystal as Crystal rolls over. Dumont grabs her and drags her up and then double underhooks her. The crowd roars as Dumont then hoists her up and plants her with the Nightrider! The crowd cheers. Dumont covers Zdunich.

The bell sounds as Dumont’s music plays. Dumont then gets up and looks right at Knots.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Chris Dumont!”

Sharper: “Dumont with the win here at Breakdown. The final stop before Rise to Greatness. And he faces whomever you’ve conned into this, Jon.”

Knots: “He’ll go down! He’ll get humbled!”

Sharper: “Who is it, Jon? If you don’t announce who, you’ll be in that ring.”

Dumont walks over to the ropes and looks at Jonathan Knots. He then steps through the ropes and drops down. Knots looks over.

Sharper: “And looks like Chris is going to force this issue!”

Dumont: “So Jon? Anyone else you have to throw at me? James? Gone! Ryan! Gone!”

Knots: “Just keep running your mouth. I have someone! I have someone.”

Dumont: “Do you? Really? Who would be stupid enough when I’ve put James and Ryan on the shelf for stepping up for you and that old son of a bitch! Whether it’s you, or whoever you have…”

Dumont steps up and points at Knots, but being careful not to touch him.

Dumont: “I will go through them and I will get my five minutes with Heaven and he will be the one on his knees, begging for forgiveness!”

Dumont then steps back and turns. He starts to walk off, but Knots then stands up and reveals something he’s hidden at the announce position, firing a taser into the back of Dumont. Dumont spasms and turns, dropping to the mats.

Sharper: “Oh my God! Jon!”

Knots: “How’s that?! Asshole! Electrifying, huh?!”

Dumont spasms some more as Knots stops. Dumont turns and Knots then presses down on the trigger again. Dumont spasms again as the crowd looks on stunned. Knots looks up and then back at Dumont, his breath getting shorter. He looks around as Dumont spasms a bit more.

Knots: “Come on!”

Knots yells as Dumont grabs at the ring skirt and looks around before suddenly, we see Veil slowly walking on the floor and reaching the rampway. He climbs up onto it.

Sharper: “Wait…Veil is coming out. Jon…you didn’t? Did you? Did you make a deal with Veil? Is that how desperate you are to deal with this?”

Knots: “Quiet, Sharper! I’ve taken care of it! Hurry up!”

Knots yells out as Veil slowly saunters around. The crowd looks on, maybe booing. Veil just calmly walks over to Dumont as Dumont grabs at the ring skirt, trying to pull himself up. The official of the match has come over to check on him, but Veil grabs him and shoves him back. He then grabs Dumont and looks at him before Dumont looks up, defiantly, trying to regain control after the spasming and Veil then grabs him and pulls him up and drives him face first into the announce table. Dumont stumbles back and Veil rolls him into the ring. Veil rolls in after. Dumont starts to fight up to his feet but Veil grabs his arms from behind. He then hoists him up and then hits the Final Thread! Dumont rolls to his side. Knots stands up, smiling.

Knots: “Yes! How’s that! How’s that? There’s my knight! There’s who will take you out!”

Veil just slowly gets up and looks down as the Phantom Troupe run down from the back.

Knots: “How do you like that?!”

Sharper: “Jon! You’ve made a deal with Veil?! What the hell is the matter with you?”

Veil then calmly turns to Knots and then drops down to the floor. Dumont holds his head and neck as the scene cuts away.

Sal Darius vs. Spencer Pryce vs. Derek Adonis

The light dim for a few moments, then the stage lights up in red as music begins:

A white spotlight hits the stage near the curtain as Spencer Pryce steps out, arms spread wide. Spencer then makes his way down the ramp, focused on the ring.

Phillips: “The following triple-threat contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Beaumont, Texas, he is Spencer Pryce!”

Running up the steps, Spencer then grabs the top rope, using it as leverage to leap over the top rope to enter. Stepping to the center of the ring, Spencer spreads his arms wide again, and makes a big exaggerated turn along with the next lyrics:

Spencer then goes to his corner and uses the ropes for some stretches as the music fades out.

Sharper: “Spencer Pryce, Sal Darius, and Derek Adonis about to face one another here in this triple threat challenge. All three in the scaffold scramble. And for Spencer, that match will take on some additional significance.”

Knots: “Protecting Simon Lyman for one. But a US Title shot is on the line. And Pryce was stripped of that title years ago. Now, it’s a chance to get back to where he was.”

Sharper: “What is wrong with you?”

“California love” by 2Pac Shakur hits the arena and Sal Darius comes out wearing his world's famous blublockers. 'The Sex Vibe' comes out with all the hype and toughness. He walks a little and then takes a sprint to the ring.

Phillips: “And finally, from Venice, California, he is the Sex Vibe, Sal Darius!”

After sliding in the ring underneath the bottom rope, he climbs the turnbuckle and points to his crotch. Then 'The King of the world of Hearts' throw his blublocker aviators in the crowd and jumps back performing boxing shadow in the ring warming up for his bout.

Knots: “Maybe Sal and Derek can get together. Sal may like it in KABLAMia.”

Sharper: “Maybe. We’ll see what happens there. But at the same time, Adonis, like Darius, both have title aspirations too.”

The bell sounds. Darius steps up and walks over to Adonis and points to the Tourism Board. Adonis smiles and hands him a pamphlet. Darius looks at it and nods and smiles. He then grabs Adonis and throws him out of the ring. Darius then turns as he goes for a lariat on Pryce. Pryce ducks and both spin around. Pryce nails Darius with a hard right and then another and another. Darius hits the ropes. Pryce fires him across. Darius bounces off and Pryce hits a hip toss. Darius rolls over and gets up and Pryce kicks him in the ribs. He then goes for a vertical suplex, but Darius blocks it and then nails him with a shot to the ribs and then another before he then breaks free, pushing Pryce back. Darius then hits the California slap. The crowd ohs. Pryce then just smacks him back. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “That’s one way to turn up the temperature here!”

Knots: “Darius is a bit of his own type. He’ll do what he feels he needs to get ahead. Pryce didn’t like it!”

Darius then tackles Pryce down. The crowd roars as Darius then gets a couple of hard shots in, before Pryce then grabs the arm. He starts to move for a kimura as Darius struggles and Adonis slides in. He then gets up and runs over and goes for a running elbow drop. Pryce holds him on top and Adonis elbows Darius in the back. Pryce pushes him off as Adonis gets up. Pryce gets up and Adonis scoops him up and slams him down. He runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a splash. Pryce moves out of the way. Adonis drives himself into the mat. He gets up and Pryce runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits a running knee lift. Adonis falls back. Pryce walks over and grabs him. He drags him up and then hits a sidewalk slam. He covers Adonis and looks at the KABLAMia Tourism Board and winks.

Knots: “Looks like Pryce may have some vacation plans.”

Sharper: “Adonis may make his money on tourism later. Right now, things not looking good for him in the ring though!”

Sweet Sangria waves at Pryce as Pryce gets up and grabs at Adonis, but Darius runs over and nails him with a clothesline. Pryce hits the mat. Darius then grabs him and stomps him over and over and over again. The crowd boos a bit as Pryce winces. Adonis starts to get up and Darius runs over and clotheslines him down. He then turns back to Pryce as Pryce starts to pull himself up and Darius nails him with a hard right and then another and another and another. He then grabs Pryce and whips him across the ring. Darius runs across and spears Pryce in the corner. Darius then steps back, but right into Adonis who scoops him up and hits a fall forward slam. He hooks the leg.

Darius kicks out. Adonis gets up and then hits an elbow drop on Darius. He gets up again and Pryce runs out and hits a running knee. Adonis hits the mat. Pryce goes for the pin.

Derek Adonis kicks out. Pryce gets up and stomps him a couple of times. He turns to Darius and grabs him and then hits a snap sidewalk slam. He pulls back on the legs.

Darius kicks out. Pryce looks around and then starts to get up. Darius does as well and Pryce grabs at Darius, but hits an uppercut. This dazes Pryce and he then hits a leg sweep kick, knocking Pryce down.

Sharper: “Darius with that kickboxing background. Pryce’s legs swept out from under him.”

Knots: “Pryce didn’t even see it coming. Darius throwing a few more things out there.”

Pryce starts to get up and Darius snapmares him over and then kicks him in the back. Pryce winces and Darius steps up and kicks him in the chest. He drops down and goes for the pin.

Adonis breaks it up with a splash. The crowd ohs. Darius rolls to his back. Adonis goes for the pin.

Darius kicks out. Both get up and Adonis knocks Darius back down with a hard right. He then turns as Pryce gets up and he scoops him up and looks back and hits a fallaway slam, launching Pryce into Darius. The crowd ohs. Darius rolls over and starts to get up and Adonis nails him with a hard right and then another, knocking him down into the corner. He then backs up and hits a running facewash kick. He turns back as Pryce gets up and Adonis grabs him and Pryce hits a jawbreaker. Adonis falls to the ropes. Pryce runs after and Adonis hits a back elbow. Adonis then runs out and hits a clothesline. He then turns as Darius runs out and hits a brogue kick, knocking Adonis down. He goes for the pin.

Pryce breaks it up. Darius rolls over and starts to get up. Pryce gets up too. Darius then runs over and nails him with a series of hard rights to the jaw. He then whips Pryce into the corner. Darius runs after, but Pryce moves out of the way at the last moment. Darius stops and turns around, but Pryce runs up and hits the Sticker Shock. He then steps out and grabs Darius and hits a release German suplex. He rolls over and goes for the pin.

Darius kicks out. Pryce looks up and turns as Adonis runs at him and hits a running crossbody splash into a pin.

Sharper: “And a nearfall. Adonis almost got Pryce!”

Knots: “So many close calls. And you know they want the bragging rights before Rise to Greatness!”

Sharper: “And to avoid injury. That’s getting less and less likely as they are throwing each other at one another.”

Adonis rolls over as Darius turns. Pryce stirs as well. Adonis nails Darius with a hard right and then another and another before going to whip him across the ring. Darius bounces off and Adonis ducks a clothesline, but Darius then hits Pryce. Pryce goes down. Adonis turns around and hoists Darius up for a Samoan drop, but Darius drops down and pulls him down with a neckbreaker. He gets up and jumps to the middle rope and hits the Sex Curse. He stays on him for the pin.

Adonis kicks out. Darius nails Adonis with a couple more shots before getting up. He then grabs Adonis and lifts him up. He then backs up and lunges, going for the Darius Knee Jerk, but Adonis lowers his head and hits a Samoan drop. He turns around and Pryce hits the Receipt. Adonis drops and Pryce hooks the leg.

The bell sounds. Pryce rolls over and looks around. The crowd cheers.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Spencer Pryce!”

Sharper: “And Pryce gets the win. Adonis dropped by that spinning back fist and Pryce with a big momentum builder going into the scaffold scramble.”

Knots: “Survived though a bit too. And that’s the thing. Come Rise to Greatness, your head better be on a swivel, or you’re taking the plunge!”

Pryce gets up and has his arm raised. Darius looks over and starts to get up. He lunges towards Pryce, but the official catches him and stops him. Pryce turns and Pryce and Darius start to jaw at one another as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we open up to see The Monster Machine Enigma in a darkened part of the arena. Enigma turns to the camera.

Enigma: “This all started with a challenge. A challenge I made. A challenge accepted. And two individuals, not fully accepted, now on a collision course.”

Enigma pauses.

Enigma: “There is not much else to say. Now it is time to do. The spiral demands it. The spiral beckons. And the spiral will claim another…And I will claim the SCW Underground Championship. I can appreciate the fight, Colleen. But come Rise to Greatness, I will hold SCW gold. You will not. And that is just how it will be.”

Enigma pauses again, looking down.

Enigma: “And it will only start a path that SCW will not be ready for!”

Enigma then reaches out and puts his hand over the camera, cutting it to black.

Sharper: “A match that has gotten more and more personal. Slayton upset that Lawler ended his TV Title run before it really got going. A match about reputation, about respect. And they’re going to go at it at on Saturday, July 26.”

Glimmer Sisters vs. European Fiery Nation

Knots: “Can the EFN stop the Glimmer Twins? Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson will have their hands full. The Glimmer Sisters have been undefeated and they also hold a win over the number one contenders to the Tag Team Championship. And I think things are going to get even more hard for CHBK if they win. Ha!”

Clyde Sutter & Melinda Braddock vs. Chance Owens & Kelsai Adamson

Sharper: “And a match that started at Taking Hold of the Flame. Chance Owens attacking Sutter. Sutter claiming their lack of success in SCW is about fate. Then attacks on both sides and it’s lead to this match at Rise to Greatness. Melinda Braddock makes her SCW debut, alongside Sutter, to face Adamson and Owens.”

Hollywood vs. The Dependables

Sharper: “And Hollywood more than represented. All to try and free Destiny Page. THEM says they’ll be there. Arnold Braunschweiger and his son are trying to help. Hollywood wants to help, but seems to be in the way and now they think the Dependables are hindering them!”

Veil vs. Chris Dumont

Knots: “Chris! You ready! You’re going down and I’ll be looking forward to both you and Striker getting humbled. I may have made a deal with a devil, but just think of tonight, and fear what will happen. Heaven – I got you!”

Chris Cannon vs. Amelia Nevado

Sharper: “This could be a classic. Two British star. Both classically trained and both motivated. Cannon aiming to rewrite history. He wants to get back to title contention. Amelia Nevado on her own with Luz having her aims. This could be the sleeper match of the night.”

Ryan LeCavalier vs. Glory Braddock

Knots: “Ryan LeCavalier clearly hurt Glory Braddock tonight. Can that, along with her own drive, be enough to finally end this winning streak that should’ve ended last week? Can LeCavalier stop Braddock?”

Waylon Creek vs. Amy Chastaine

Sharper: “And speaking of Creek, he’s even more motivated. Chastaine responding in kind. Will Creek get the revenge he seeks or will Chastaine, and in that, prove the humanity of Creek?”

The Connection vs. The European Fiery Nation vs. The Product

Knots: “Kandis and Tommy Valentine returned at Retribution. They’re hoping that Rise to Greatness is the course-correction they need. But Konrad Raab, joined by Kemal Yilmaz, want to get his hands on the former Jackals. And the Product, they want to prove that this is all behind them. These three teams, something has to give.”

The Monster Machine Enigma vs. Colleen MacDonald

Sharper: “Enigma has come into SCW and has quickly gotten a lot of attention. He wanted a challenge. Colleen MacDonald, the Underground Champion, wanted a fight, and wanted legitimacy. Both get what they want at Rise to Greatness, but only one can walk out Underground Champion.”

Dexter Grant vs. Kimberly Williams

SCW Adrenaline Championship

Knots: “Has Kimberly William gone too far? Or has Dexter Grant maybe poked the bear that is the Woman Scorned? This has been back and forth, and both dislike what the other stands for, but Kim wants to become Adrenaline Champion, while Grant wants to force Kim to change who she is!

Syren vs. Meghan Strader

Sharper: “Syren and Meghan Strader have been a thorn in each other’s sides since April. Strader started this by targeting Syren, aiming for the World Championship. Syren won’t just stand by. And now, these two proud women, both want to hold SCW gold this year. They’ll have to go through each other!”

La Pequena Luz vs. Jordan Majors vs. Asher Hayes vs. Deanna Frost

SCW Unified United States Championship

Knots: “The SCW United States Championship will be hold again. Deanna Frost returned. Asher Hayes was the interim champion. Luz the first interim champion gets her rematch. And Jordan Majors can prove that she should have been recognized as that champion earlier this year. They all want the title and it gets resolved at Rise to Greatness!”

Xander Valentine vs. Cid Turner vs. Selena Frost vs. Giovanni Aries

Ladder Match

Sharper: “And the main event – Two Taking Hold of the Flame winners. Selena Frost finally cashing in her rematch from last year. Giovanni Aries getting the ladder match stipulation, threatening the careers of his opponents, all to make his point about the materialism he believes plagues the SCW and the hunt for the World Title. But they all want to control and hold that title. Four proud individuals, four individuals with a goal, and only one will walk out World Champion and perhaps set the tone going forward in SCW!”

Knots: “Huge match. Huge!”

The Rise to Greatness XXII logo comes back up on the screen.

Sharper: “And it all takes – starting on Saturday, July 26 with the Rise to Greatness pre-show. Then the main show, begins Sunday, July 27, at 5 p.m. Eastern. And history will be made!”

The logo remains on the screen for a few moments longer.

“Psycho in my Head” plays as the Breakdown logo then comes up on the screen. A still for Light in the Darkness vs. Chris Cannon and Syren follows.

Sharper: “And next, huge tag team contest. Cannon and Syren face Light in the Darkness, here live, on Breakdown from Seattle!”

The scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

The Light in the Darkness vs. Chris Cannon & Syren

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. “In the Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan Kicks begins to play, the LED screens flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front of a starry night sky with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re slowly shifting and dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully glide through the sky. One spotlight comes to life on the left side of the stage from the camera’s perspective, revealing Amelia Nevado standing underneath it, eyes focused on the ring and a small smile on her lips as her hands are folded in front of her, giving her the look of a proper young lady. A second spotlight comes to life on the right side of the stage, revealing La Pequeña Luz standing underneath it with the kind of grin that could light up a room all on its own as she motions with her hands for the fans to get pumped up, which they immediately proceed to do. The two slowly turn their attention to one another and begin closing the distance, their spotlights following them as they stop within arm’s reach of one another, where Amelia extends her hand and Luz takes it before they pull their bodies close, the spotlights merging into one piercing through the darkness.

Phillips: “The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are the team of La Pequena Luz and Amelia Nevado, they are the Light in the Darkness!”

When the song goes into the chorus, the two ladies begin to literally waltz their way down to the ring, fast and fluid to keep pace with the song as the spotlight follows their every move, leaving fans mesmerized by their synergy. As the chorus reaches its end and the two find themselves at the bottom of the ramp, they push away from one another as far as their arms will allow without letting go before quickly pointing to the LED screens with their free hands, where the night scene is immediately engulfed in white before transitioning to a video package of the two ladies in action, both together and individually. Slowly, the two release one another, the single spotlight splitting in two again as Amelia makes her way up the steps to walk across the apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz, meanwhile, hops up onto the apron right in front of her and grabs the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees, cupping her hands together in front of her while Amelia stands right behind her, hands folded before her once again. As Luz lifts her cupped hands upward, the arena lights slowly begin to come back on as Amelia takes her hands and pulls her to her feet, spinning her around one final time into a tight embrace and a soft kiss before the two move to their corner to prepare for battle, with both girls shedding their robes and Amelia also removing her mask.

Sharper: “This could be a very interesting match to say the least. Light in the Darkness, former World Tag Team Champions – against them, Chris Cannon and Syren teaming for the first time.”

Knots: “There’s something there. A relationship. More professional. More business. They’re on the same page. Even helping each other out. But Cannon faces Nevado at Rise to Greatness. A bit of a preview for them too.”

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. We cut to the backstage area we see Syren, in her full ring gear, complete with black ring jacket and pink halter-top/black tights, making her way down a corridor, accompanied by Lexy Chapel dressed in a long skirt and t-shirt that reads ‘REJOICE, LEXY NATION’. She begins walking into the arena as we cut back to inside to see the fans reacting.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

“Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as we see one of the doors opening and Syren and Lexy walking through. She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.

Syren and Lexy both walk down the walkway to the crowd barricade, occasionally slapping the hands of fans, before walking around and through the timekeeper’s area. Syren jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.

Phillips: “Their opponents, first, being accompanied by Lexy Chapel and representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, this is SYREN!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client. She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Syren takes off her ring jacket and hands that to Lexy before taking back the title. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down and standing in her corner with Lexy, as her music fades out.

Sharper: “Syren has a big match against Meghan Strader at Rise to Greatness. You know she’ll be watching around to be sure. Ravyn Taylor not with her. So clearly there’s a play here in case. Some defensive measures.”

Knots: “But the Straders took advantage of that before. So everyone is going to have a head on a swivel. That’s to put it mildly.”

The lights go out with a flick of a switch plunging the arena into complete darkness. A few fan’s flashes can be seen going off and as they do the haunting opening to Paint it Black by Hidden Citizens begins to play over the P.A System. While it does CHRIS CANNON appears on the big screen, and the moment it does a spotlight shines down directly to the stage where the man stands. The light comes back on next when the lyrics begin and we see Chris Cannon is not alone. A brunette stands with him while he wears a sleeveless trench coat. His long dark hair hanging down over his face…

Phillips: “Her partner, hailing from London England. He is being accompanied to the ring by Yvonne Knight, he is Chris Cannon!”

The moment Phillips finishes, Cannon begins the slow walk down towards the ring. From what it looks like his eyes focused on the ring in front of him. Yvonne walks behind him smiling and waves to a few fans. Chris does not acknowledge them. Instead when he reaches the bottom of the ramp he stops for a moment before throwing his head back so the hair no longer obscures his face a look of pure intensity and focus on display. He quickly leaps onto the apron and enters the ring while Yvonne stands at the bottom of the ramp. Cannon walks over to a corner and climbs onto the 2nd rope and looks out at the crowd and hits his chest as a final acknowledgement to them.

He then steps down and walks to the opposite side and does the same once more before removing his jacket and handing it to a member of staff. Chris then looks down to Yvonne who blows him a kiss as she now walks around the ring towards the announcing area and takes a seat there to the side to watch the match unfold. Cannon steps down grabs the top rope and pulls at it and then proceeds to warm up in the ring before the bell.

Sharper: “Yvonne Knight joining us, but not on commentary. Clearly focused on this match.”

Knots: “Another set of eyes on Amelia Nevado?”

Sharper: “Maybe. That may very well be it. And Chris Cannon has made clear his reasons for facing Amelia. There’s a lot of personal ambition on both sides of this match.”

The bell sounds as Chris and Syren talk before Cannon exits the ring. Amelia steps in first. The crowd buzzes as Syren and Amelia step up and lock-up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Amelia moves into an arm wrench. Syren winces and Amelia wrenches the arm again. Syren then rolls forward and nips up and then wrenches Amelia’s arm. Amelia reaches around and then rolls forward and backflips back before cartwheeling through and then taking Syren down with a side headlock takedown. Syren counters with a headscisssors. Amelia nips up. Both get up and Syren hits a headlock takedown on Amelia. Amelia counters with a headscissors of his own. Syren nips out. Both get up and lunge at one another and then back up, circling the ring. The crowd applauds.

Sharper: “And some good back and forth. Good catch-as-catch-can there, but ultimately, neutral ending.”

Knots: “Chris getting a close look though. And we know that British style likes to include that type of grappling.”

Syren and Amelia lock-up again. They push back on one another before Syren moves into a side headlock. Amelia then pulls her back to the ropes and fires her off. Syren hits the ropes and Amelia shoulders her down. She runs into the ropes. Syren rolls towards her. Amelia hops over and stops and goes to go for a side headlock. Syren fights though and rolls Amelia to her back.

She lets go and rolls through. Both get up and Amelia hits a European uppercut. Syren staggers. Amelia then hits another one. Syren staggers again and turns as Amelia grabs her and whips her into the neutral corner. Syren hits the turnbuckles. Amelia runs after and Syren gets an elbow up. Amelia staggers out and Syren runs out and Amelia hits a drop toe hold. She then gets up and hits an elbow drop. Syren winces and gets up and runs at Amelia. Amelia hits a hip toss and then Amelia tags in Luz. Syren turns to Amelia, but then realizes Luz is in as she springboards to the top rope and hits a crossbody.

Sharper: “Huge crossbody and Luz enters this match!”

Knots: “Syren getting a bit caught by Amelia. There’s that chemistry there.”

Sharper: “An impact tonight. Not going to be as big at Rise to Greatness. Luz and Amelia in separate matches.”

Luz rolls through. Syren gets up and Luz hits a dropkick. She gets up and hits a standing moonsault. She hooks the leg.

Syren kicks out. Both women get up and Luz hits an overhead chop and then another before whipping her into the ropes. Syren bounces off and Luz goes for a back drop. Syren, however twists and back drops down her back and lands on her feet. She runs Luz into the ropes and goes to pull her back. Luz, however, grabs the top rope. Syren rolls back. Luz then runs back at her, but Syren jumps up and hits the Golden Blonde. The crowd ohs. Syren then turns and tags in Chris. Cannon enters and hits an elbow drop to the back of Luz before getting up and hitting a knee drop and then stomping her in the back. Luz rolls to the ropes. Chris pulls her up and moves her into the neutral corner. Cannon then shoulders her over and over in the corner.

Sharper: “And Cannon comes in and a new level of intensity follows. Just all over Luz.”

Knots: “And that’s also sending a message. That’s what awaits Amelia. He’s laser focused. Win at all costs.”

Cannon pulls Luz out and hits a vertical suplex. He floats over.

Luz kicks out. Luz turns and starts to get up and Cannon forearms her in the jaw. She falls back to the ropes. Cannon whips her across. She bounces off and Cannon hits a back drop. Luz turns and starts to get up and Cannon hoists her up and goes for the Lion’s Bite. Luz however slides down and shoves him into the LITD corner. Amelia tags in and Luz pulls Cannon out as Amelia enters and hits a running European uppercut as Luz hits a Russian leg sweep. Amelia goes for the pin.

Cannon kicks out. Amelia rolls through. Luz exits the ring. Cannon rolls over and Amelia snapmares him down and chops him in the back. Cannon winces and Amelia then grabs Cannon and locks in a dragon sleeper. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And Amelia taking her chance to make a statement. And locking in the dragon sleeper! Cannon in trouble!”

Knots: “Big trouble. He’s reaching around and even Yvonne Knight has perked up!”

Amelia pulls back as Cannon tries to grab at her and Syren then reaches out. Yvonne looks on as Amelia keeps the hold on and then tries to go for the leg scissors, but Cannon pushes back with his legs and rolls through. He nails her with a couple of hard shots to the ribs before Amelia lets go. Cannon rolls over and turns and coughs. Syren reaches out and tags in. Amelia gets up and Syren enters and forearms her in the jaw over and over. She gets Amelia to the ropes and then fires her off. Amelia bounces off and Syren hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

Amelia kicks out. Both get up and Amelia hits a European uppercut. Syren hits the mat. Amelia staggers over and tags in Luz. Luz climbs up to the top rope. Syren gets up and Luz lands on her shoulders and hits a snap hurricanrana into a pin.

Cannon hits a running boot to the head of Luz. Luz falls forward as Syren rolls over. Cannon then exits to the floor. Syren looks up as Amelia smacks the mat, realizing Luz nearly had her.

Sharper: “Huge close call that. Big hurricanrana, but Cannon drilling Luz with that book.”

Knots: “And Amelia had already made it out of the ring. No way to stop Cannon.”

Luz starts to stir, holding her head and she turns and gets up as Syren then runs over and hits the Face Lift. The crowd ohs. Syren stops at the corner and turns around as we then hear the rev of a motorcycle. The crowd roars as Syren turns and looks up at the stage. We see Lexy Chapel perk up too. We then see Meghan Strader ride out from the back. She stops at the top of the rampway and looks down at the ring.

Knots: “And there’s Meghan Strader…Syren and Meghan have both cost each other matches!”

Sharper: “And looks like she’s got Syren’s attention. But Syren’s not alone. Chris Cannon in there. And look at Amelia Nevado. She’s also got her eye on Strader.”

Amelia glances over too as we then see Jordan Majors walk out from the back. She takes a few steps, walking on the floor. The crowd erupts before we hear boos. Just as this happens though, we see Asher Hayes starting walk through the crowd and in another part of the building, Ravyn Taylor is doing the same. Meghan remains at the top of the stage, Mackenzie Strader and Tearra Skye joining her by walking out. Hayes hops the barricade and steps over. Amelia looks at him as Luz rolls over and sees them. Ravyn steps to ringside and walks along the ringside area. The crowd buzzes.

Sharper: “And just like that…look at all of the extra people here. Hayes out. Majors coming out. Ravyn appearing. They were ready. And now, the calculus changes!”

Knots: “But the match is still going on!”

Meghan then steps off her motorcycle, turning it off. She then turns to Tearra and Mackenzie before they start to head to the ring. Jordan climbs onto the rampway at this point. Hayes and Ravyn start to move toward one another before suddenly Luz gets up and runs into the ropes. Syren sees her and then runs with her before the two dive over the top rope together and onto the mass of people. Syren rolls through as Luz rolls over. Ravyn runs over as Hayes does too. The crowd erupts as Syren crawls over to Meghan and grabs her and nails her with a couple of shots. Meghan grabs at Syren, the two pulling each other up and then hammering away one another. Hayes goes over to Jordan as Jordan tries to get free. Ravyn and Yvonne, joining her, go over to fight Tearra and Mackenzie as the crowd continues to cheer. Luz tries to get up, reaching for Jordan too as Jordan tries to leave.

Sharper: “Syren and Luz take out the group. And the fight is on! It’s on!”

Knots: “Luz trying to get to Majors. She’s made a mistakes. Hayes too. And Ravyn…and Yvonne is helping?”

Sharper: “This partnership growing as Meghan and Syren trade blows on the rampway. Ravyn and Yvonne go after the other Cowgirls that have joined Strader.

Amelia looks on from the apron as the bell sounds, the referee throwing it out. Amelia turns, but just then, Cannon hits the ropes along the apron and runs along the ropes. Amelia sees him and jumps off and falls over to the barricade, looking up. Cannon slides to a stop and looks over as he misses a spear, but stops himself from going into the turnbuckles.

Sharper: “Cannon was going to take out Amelia!”

Knots: “He said he’d do anything to win. Amelia just found that out!”

Amelia looks up at Cannon as Cannon slowly gets up as Majors manages to get free. Luz and Hayes run after as Tearra and Mackenzie fight Ravyn and Yvonne and official start trying to get between Syren and Meghan, the scene slowly fading out to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimes. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs. 

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

Nah, no matter how hard they try

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Sharper: “The former World Champion. One of the two Taking Hold of the Flame winners. Xander Valentine is here in Seattle. And he is just a week and a half away from what he hopes will be a fateful night where not only does he win the World Title, but he maybe brings down Fall of Man.”

Knots: “Big ask for him. And three other people are going to operate with a very different focus all fighting for that title!”

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He then goes to the corner where he’s handed a microphone. He turns back and walks over to the middle of the ring. The crowd chants for him as his music fades out. Xander hears the chants for a few moments.

Xander: “I just under a week and a half…I will deliver another mortal blow to the Fall of Man!”

The crowd roars. Xander walks around the ring.

Xander: “I took away Waylon Creek’s invulnerability. I opened the door to the cracks to form. James Evans is no longer here. And now Giovanni Aries stands before me, trying to obscure the reality…threatening my career, when the reality is that he’s ensured he has made the battlefield such that it will ensure his demise!”

Xander looks out at the crowd.

Xander: “The World Championship is on the line. And while Taking Hold of the Flame did not go perfectly, without it, Rise to Greatness would not be possible. At Rise to Greatness…in Houston…I finish the job. I take Giovanni Aries and however the opportunity arises, I take his mortal body and I make sure it does not get back up!”

The crowd erupts.

Xander: “And then I will scale the ladder and take the World Championship back….Giovanni can threaten my career. Selena can say she will take us out. Cid Turner may have heart, but none of them can handle what I am capable of when I am driven. And that is what awaits them at Rise to Greatness-“

The lights slowly dim down. “Dark Child” by Marlon Williams plays as the lights flash back on. The big screen shows several highlights of Cid Turner's career as the song continues to play. The crowd roars as Cid makes his way onto the stage, looking tensely out into the crowd. Cid takes a moment to let it all soak in before he begins his walk down the ramp. Xander just shakes his head.

Xander: “Cid…this is not the time!”

Cid continues his walk down the ramp. Cid reaches the ring and climbs up the steps, slowly walking across the apron to the corner and pulling himself up onto the second rope, standing on the turnbuckle and looking around the arena while taking a deep breath. He pounds his chest and peers out into the sea of people.

“My only dear long wasteful son

One day you'll wonder what you've become”

The music begins to fade out as Cid climbs down from the ropes and enters the ring. He walks past Xander and asks for a microphone. He’s handed one and takes it and turns back.

Cid: “But Xander, I think it is.”

Cid steps up to Xander.

Cid: “You gave a nice plan. You’ll murder Giovanni. You’ll smack down Selena. You’ll presumably hope to step over my nearly paralyzed corpse and then pull the World Championship and hold it high.”

Cid pauses.

Cid: “Do I have that right?”

Xander just looks at Cid, stoically.

Cid: “The problem is that I’ve already thrown one wrench in your plans by showing up at Taking Hold of the Flame and then co-winning the thing with you. I know. That wasn’t what you wanted. But I tend to pop up at bad moments and I’ve never really read the room and in this case, I just play spoiler, but it’s going to happen again at Rise to Greatness when I win the World Championship again!”

The crowd roars.

Cid: “You can talk about your goals and I hope you take out Fall of Man. They’re assholes. But I’ve said it enough – I only know one thing…this…this sport. That’s why I came back. The itch was there and damn it, I may even die in the ring. Maybe that gave Giovanni the idea for this, but when that asshole then makes it a ladder match in part because of my injury history…that also fuels me to want to prove everyone wrong. Selena Frost hates me because I exist. You probably do too. But one thing I’ve made a career of is stepping up in the big moment and being the best when people don’t expect it. And I plan to do it again. I plan to hold that title again. I plan to disappoint Giovanni, Selena…and YOU, Xander!”

We hear the sound of a door open that rings out over the arena as we then hear the words

‘Villain’ by Wildfire begins to play as the arena goes dark except for a psychedelic spotlight as from beneath the stage rises Giovanni Aries sitting cross legged dressed in his Psychedelic fur coat and trunks combo as he cackles out before jumping up and spinning with arms out. He is then joined by William Heaven as they walk out from the back. Giovanni cackles out once again as he looks at his comrades while lighting a Wonderland cigarette before giving them a nod as he starts toward the ring. Cid Turner and Xander Valentine turn to the entrance. Heaven has a microphone in his hand.

Heaven: “I hear a lot of big talk from two people who have been too focused on each other and Selena Frost and have forgotten that this man, next to me, has dictated everything since Taking Hold of the Flame!”

The crowd boos. Heaven and Aries continue to walk to the ring.

Heaven: “You can claim credit for James, Xander, but we know that James did it to himself. And come Rise to Greatness, thanks to you, thanks to CHBK, when Giovanni Aries takes that title down…he holds all the cards and the worst nightmare for SCW comes true!”

Aries then takes the microphone as Aries climbs up onto the apron. He then looks into the ring.

Aries: “While the three of you are all chasing your own tails to climb up the fictional mountain this sport, this promotion, this company has made you believe you need to so you can define your self-worth….even hearing the two of you now…how pathetic you sound. Two Hall of Famers and still wanting to hold what I have on more time. All so they can get one more endorphin hit. And I am making you all dance.”

Aries cackles.

Aries: “You both could see the end of your careers at Rise to Greatness.”

Aries snaps his fingers.

Aries: “One fall!”

He snaps his fingers again.

Aries: “One slip! And it’s over. And you both signed up for it without a second thought. Who is the one brainwashed…walking into death just for their self-worth-“

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. The boos grow as Selena then walks down to the ring, microphone in her hand. Her music fades out as she talks.

Selena: “Sorry…I wanted to make sure I now had your attention.”

The boos continue.

Selena: “Because while we’re hearing stories of finality, and revenge, and destruction, and heart, and materialism…I don’t care. I have waited for this night for a full year. I sat on my rematch clause. I let the wild west take hold and I’m coming back for my mantle!”

The crowd boos as Selena Frost walks over to the ring.

Selena: “There’s no need for another part-timer to come back and take the spotlight…another Executioner for one last gasp when they’re one shot away from going into darkness altogether…”

Selena then steps onto the apron and then into the ring.

Selena: “Or that we listen to a madman who only is World Champion because of another person’s foolish plan!”

Selena turns to Cid.

Selena: “We don’t need you Cid.”

Selena turns to Xander.

Selena: “And you’re the reason everything hangs in the balance…literally. Your plans will end in failure. SCW…and that title…needs a true champion. And I am here to take it back.”

Selena turns then to Giovanni.

Selena: “And the Fall of Man can then pick up the pieces while I return to being the standard-bearer, BELIEVE IT!”

Giovanni smirks before then throwing his cigarette at Selena’s face. Selena staggers back, trying to avoid getting burned. The crowd ohs as Giovanni then moves forward, but Cid runs over and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Giovanni then rakes the eyes and Cid staggers back. Xander boots him in the face. Cid hits the mat and falls over. Xander then turns as Selena gets back up and grabs her by the throats. He hoists her up and chokeslams her. The crowd ohs. Giovanni just watches as Xander turns back to Giovanni.

Sharper: “Xander dropping Cid! Then Selena! Now it’s Aries and Valentine!”

Knots: “Valentine looking right at Aries. He says he’ll try to end it!”

Xander then steps over to Aries and Aries backs up as Cid gets up and runs over and nails Valentine from behind. Aries laughs as he drops to a knee as Xander falls forward. Xander turns and Cid nails him again and again and again. He then backs up and Xander hits a back elbow. Cid staggers back. Xander then steps forward and Cid ducks a clothesline and then jumps to the middle rope and hits a variation of a springboard Denver Diving Kick. Xander staggers to the ropes and falls to a knee. Cid then grabs him and grabs his arm. He goes for the Sovereign Takeover, but Xander pushes him off. Aries then clotheslines him down. Aries then runs over and nails Xander with a series of hard right hands. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Cid tried to take out Xander. Now Aries! Aries, drops Cid, and now hammering away on the Executioner!”

Knots: “Just drilling him with shot after shot!”

Giovanni Aries keeps nailing him with a shot after shot after shot before turning and nailing Cid with a hard right. Cid hits the mat. Aries then turns and moves over to corner. He climbs up to the middle rope. He jumps forward for the Death to the Lizard Kingdom to Xander. Xander moves. Giovanni steps forward and stops. He turns around and Xander boots him down again. Aries rolls over to the ropes. Xander then steps up as Cid dives off with a second Denver Diving Kick. This causes him to fall to the ropes and out of the ring. Cid then gets up as Aries then is handed a steel chair by Heaven. Aries gets back up and slams the chair into the back of Cid. Cid drops to the mat, holding his back. Aries lifts it up and slams it down again. Cid grimaces in pain. Aries lifts the chair up again, but Selena then comes out of nowhere, drilling Giovanni Aries with the Glass Shard!

Sharper: “Glass Shard!”

The chair bounces around as Aries is out.

Knots: “She got all of it. She was waiting! Xander, Cid, Giovanni…they were all fighting.”

Sharper: “She picked her spot and Selena just took out Giovanni Aries!”

Knots: “And look! She’s standing over him!”

Cid holds his back as Xander stirs on the floor. Selena steps over Aries and looks at William Heaven who glares at her. Selena then smirks as she turns to Xander. She shakes her head and then looks around the arena. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Will this be the scene at Rise to Greatness? We’ll see you there!”

Selena remains standing tall, over Giovanni Aries as the scene slowly fades to black…
