“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Simon Lyman posing with his arms out.

Maybe I'm just paranoid

Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie

Can't stop this screamin' voice

Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing the Fall of Man standing tall. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see David Striker diving over the top rope and Josh Hudson standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chance Owens, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo.

This is the face

I hate the other side of me

Out of this cage

He breaks to take the life from me

Tell me, tell me, tell me

I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing the Shinigami Foundation standing in the ring talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head

I'm closer to the edge

Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery

Insane

These voices in my brain

Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor Lariat on an opponent is next, before we see Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO making her entrance. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Waylon Creek, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Crypto.com Arena. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “SCW rolled into the City of Angels. The Road to Rise to Greatness continues!”

The cameras continue to pan the crowd before we cut to ringside and the announce position where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots. Nice of you to make it to start the show this week. And tonight, we have a big show. Chris Cannon to face Konrad Raab. Syren in action against Spencer Pryce. We’ll also see Deanna Frost return to the ring, teaming with La Pequena Luz to face the EFN!”

Knots: “Oh yeah, and the Dangerous Minds. Things may get dangerous for them. They have to face actual wrestlers, instead of threatening managers and commentators. What a thought!”

Sharper: “Starting off hot already!”

Knots: “Damn right!”

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal. The crowd boos as Selena turns and goes to the corner, being handed a microphone.

Sharper: “And we kicking things off with the Snow Queen and she will not be happy – Asher Hayes defeating her last week with Xander Valentine and Cid Turner getting involved.”

Knots: “The Wild West runs rampant some more.”

Sharper: “For those wondering, Cid Turner not here tonight. He’s asked for this weekend off to be with his family for Fourth of July.”

Knots: “Some parts of retirement stick, huh?”

Sharper: “And Xander Valentine we’ve been told is training in Rochester. Getting closer and closer to the big night and you can see the priorities coming forward.”

Selena Frost looks around.

Selena: “I hope all of you enjoyed last week.”

Selena pauses as the crowd roars. Selena looks up.

Selena: “I have owned Asher Hayes every time I’ve entered this ring to face him. And thanks to Cid Turner, to Xander Valentine…he got a lucky win.”

Selena pauses again.

Selena: “This is what you wanted, huh? The Wild Wild West. People no longer able to prove it in the ring. Asher Hayes has talked about that over and over. At the end of the day, I still prove it in the ring. That was the first time my shoulders have been to the mat for three since Rise to Greatness last year in one on one competition. When it comes to what I do in this ring, when I can control the outcome, I am unparalleled!”

Selena looks at the crowd as the crowd boos.

Selena: “Now a few people may stand there and say, Selena, didn’t you run out to the ring and attack Xander? And I would respond with, I waited until they finished their match, before I then did exactly what I said I was going to try to do and that was take out the weak links in this main event of Rise of Greatness. And while I didn’t get it done, Cid Turner’s the one apologizing while holding his back, hoping he stays together. And Xander Valentine, he’s the one looking around, hoping one good shot doesn’t put him on his back for good.”

Selena pauses as he looks around.

Selena: “But we’re now in Los Angeles…and I was thinking about it…this city is so willing to chase the trends, to just make money, where Hollywood is practically bankrupt of good ideas. We need good sequels. We need to good remakes. And you could look at Rise to Greatness in this light. Giovanni Aries is the new idea, but it’s really a remake. Instead, Giovanni Aries accidentally got his World Title thanks to the arrogance of Xander Valentine. And now everything is under siege…”

Selena pauses, thinking to herself. She shrugs.

Selena: “But don’t worry, SCW, like Hollywood has some sequels and remakes of their own to take over. Because people aren’t going to like this new idea. They’re not going to understand. They’re not going to feel it. They’re not going to appreciate it. Because it’s crap.”

Selena looks at the camera.

Selena: “But you have three familiar ideas ready to dominate the box office. The problem is that SCW is just like Hollywood. We can cover up some of the flaws in some explosions and in what people think is a sappy story, but ultimately, the plot is a lot thinner than you think, and they don’t have lasting power. Xander Valentine can try and play the martyr. He can claim he’s the Executioner of old and take on the world. And we’ve already seen him stumble a bit. He can claim is plan is working, but he’s needing others to hide the fact that he’s older, and he’s more vulnerable. It’s the old action star stepping up for one more run. The problem is that you realize that…it’s not that time anymore. It may still hit, but not with the same power. And the returns are diminishing.”

Selena smirks.

Selena: “Cid Turner, another old timer, returning…Like Josh Hudson on steroids. This time though there’s a nice story. And he recognizes he may be on the last ride. The cowboy going for his last ride; the man just trying to stay out of trouble, after they got clean from prison. But they have an achilles heel. They’ve been sucked back into things…in this case, professional wrestling. But they don’t have the same contacts. They don’t have the same wits. The game has changed…and while it may be a good story, just like with Xander and the action star of yesteryear, it has no standing power. Can Cid carry this company on his back? You can ask him yourself. At least he respects what I do…and I never thought I’d say that about him. Better than Xander. But nothing that will last.”

Selena then stops and smiles.

Selena: “But fortunately, you all have one other option. Skillfully done, consistent as always, representing integrity of vision, and I’ve never left. And I’ve always stood for what was best for this sport by competing in this ring. You all wanted the Wild West, when I gave you firm closure every time I walked out to this ring. I’m the one that wins all of the awards. I’m the one that stands on the stage fetted. And I’m the one you fans pillory because I make your favourites look one step behind! Giovanni Aries claims that the he has already won. I refuse to believe that. And the damage he’s doing just by hiding the World Title is something I won’t stand for. And better yet, I can make my RECORD-SETTING reign its most important yet…Tying with another person who is hoping the box office remembers them, I can finally eclipse them, tying them with seven World Titles. This isn’t the Unbelievable Main Event. This is nothing more than a course correction. The box office can make things right with a sequel that won’t insult them and gives them EXACTLY what they want. A Champion who is proud to be champion and can hold onto that title like a champion.”

Selena looks at the camera as the crowd boos.

Selena: “You may not want it. But you’ll appreciate it. The villain SCW demands is here. And it will save SCW from the games of Giovanni Aries. I won’t sputter out or disappear like Xander or Cid. I will fight. And you will thank me. CHBK started this claiming he needed to guarantee his main event. His main event is right here and he knew I was going to use that contract. It’s time to course correct. Giovanni, do your worst. Xander and Cid…try and you will fail. Either before at my hands or at Rise to Greatness if you somehow make it. BELIEVE IT…or NOT! Your record setter is here!”

Selena Frost’s music plays as Selena Frost looks right at the camera. The crowd boos as she then slowly steps back and brings the microphone down.

Knots: “You think she’s focused. You think she’s got her mind on something. Giovanni Aries isn’t going to let her get her way, but Selena Frost is back in the saddle herself!”

Sharper: “Selena Frost with a clear message. That’s never changed. She’s put a lot of stock into her being World Champion and she’s right. If she wins, she’s tied with Syren for the most World Championship reigns ever.”

Knots: “Lexy Chapel is about to have a heart attack again.”

Sharper: “We will see what happens at Rise to Greatness. As we mentioned, Cid Turner not here in Los Angeles. Spending the holiday weekend with his wife. Xander Valentine in Rochester to train. But we know the Fall of Man are here.”

Knots: “And Aries already has to wheels turning – I promise you!”

Selena Frost hands off the microphone and walks across the ring and steps through to the floor. She then starts to head to the back.

COMMERCIALS

We cut to a shot of Steve Griffin hitting a top rope decimator on CHBK from Rise to Greatness 2003, before cutting to a shot of Alistaire Allocco proudly holding the SCW World Championship and then showing a shot of Kelcey Wallace, Trinity Street and Lucas Knight standing over Ravyn Taylor and Kennedy Street at another Rise to Greatness event. A shot of Kandis smiling as she looks at the World Championship in her hand follows.

“This is your Rise to Greatness Rewind.”

The scene opens in the ring at Rise to Greatness 2008. Hurse slowly starts to move and Exeter walks over only to grab him and drive him down with a second Exoskeletal Extermination. Hurse arches his back in pain and rolls over. Exeter then rolls over and walks over to the corner. He climbs the corner and then stands on the ropes. He turns to the ladder and starts to climb all the way to the top. Exeter gets near the top and then yells at the referee to hold the ladder. The referee shakes his head no and Exeter snaps at him. He then runs over and holds the ladder. Exeter then smiles before climbing to the top. He squats on the top of the ladder.

Dawson: “This is ridiculous!”

Exeter slowly stands up and then takes a deep breath. The crowd is all standing on their feet and Exeter dives forward and performs a 630 Spiral Tap, but Hurse rolls out of the way and Exeter crashes into the mat hard. The crowd ohs and a huge “Holy Sh*t!” chant begins coming from the crowd. Hurse then rolls over as Exeter yells in pain and Hurse throws his arm over the chest of Exeter. The referee goes down and counts.

3!

The referee calls for the bell, but the crowd is still going nuts over the failed move attempt.

Phillips: “The winner of this match, Hurse!”

Sharper: “My God! That was crash and burn in every sense of the phrase! Exeter damn near killed himself!”

Johnson: “That was insane!”

Dawson: “But he missed…and Hurse picks up the win! What an ending!”

Hurse rolls off of Exeter and the referee walks over and holds up his arm. Robin celebrates on the outside. Hurse then slowly rolls to the ropes before falling off the apron and goes over to Robin. Robin holds him up and Hurse holds his arm up. The Rise to Greatness XXII logo comes up on the screen.

Dawn Warren vs. Veil

Ain’t it Fun” by Paramore begins to blast across the speakers. As it does Dawn Warren makes her way out from behind the curtains smirking.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a ten minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, she is the Pink Puppy, Dawn Warren!”

The crowd roars a bit. She claps the hands of the roaring fans before sliding into the ring. She gets up and looks around before then dropping down to her knees. She continues to enjoy the reaction as she gets up.

Sharper: “Dawn Warren returning to action here in SCW and in her hometown. Breakdown emanating from Los Angeles tonight.”

Knots: “She may be regretting that though. Especially given who she’s up against.”

The lights dim slowly. One light at a time. Like the whole building is giving up. The crowd gets quiet. A low, eerie sound starts over the speakers. “The Host of Seraphim” begins to play.

Phillips: “Her opponent, this is Veil!”

Soft voices rise up—not words, just sounds. Like ghosts singing from far away. Slow. Sad. Heavy.

The tron doesn’t show highlights or action.
It shows a spiral, barely moving, turning backwards.
Mist starts to crawl from the entrance.
It stays low to the ground, almost like it’s afraid to rise.
It’s not thick. It’s not fast. It’s slow, like smoke under water.

Then, Veil steps through it.

No fireworks. No lasers. No flashing lights.
No big poses.
Just him.

Barefoot.
Slow.
Arms at his sides.

He doesn’t make eye contact with the crowd.
He doesn’t play to the cameras.
He just walks.

Every step is heavy, like the ground almost sinks under him.

His face is pale. His eyes are wide open but dead still—like he’s looking straight through everything. As he walks, the mist behind him spreads out across the stage and the ramp, almost like it’s following him, drawn to him.

The song gets a little louder.
The voices rise higher—not screaming, just crying.
Mourning something nobody can name.

The spiral on the screen behind him turns slower and slower, almost stopping. Veil reaches the ring. He doesn’t look around. He steps up onto the apron, slow and steady, and then steps between the ropes. He walks straight to the middle of the ring. There, he stops. He crouches down. He places one open hand flat on the mat. He lowers his head. He whispers something no one can hear. The spiral on the tron behind him flashes once—then fades out into black. The mist in the ring sinks low. The music fades. The lights stay dim, just enough to see him.

Veil stands there. Waiting. Still. Silent.

Sharper: “Veil arriving…the chilling entrance of this man.”

Knots: “I don’t know what to make of him. One match he’s aggressive. The next he’s not. Against, Konrad, at times he looked lifeless.”

Sharper: “We’ve already seen in the past. Veil in his past forms would use the long game for his benefit. And nothing is as it seems with this man.”

The bell sounds as Dawn Warren looks at Veil. Veil just looks back at Dawn, slowly tilting his head. Dawn then runs over and nails him with a hard right. Veil doesn’t even react. She nails him again and then again before Veil just chops her chest. She goes down. Warren slowly gets up and Veil stalks her as Dawn moves back to the corner. Veil steps up and Dawn leans back and kicks him in the stomach. She kicks him again. Veil winces and Dawn then brings her legs up and looks around before pushing off and snapping Veil face first into the middle turnbuckle. Veil rolls over and slowly gets up. Dawn watches as he starts to get up and hits a dropkick. Veil falls to the ropes and awkwardly falls down before then starting to get up.

Sharper: “Already a frantic offense from Dawn Warren as this unnerving presence advances on her.”

Knots: “And he keeps getting up!”

Veil gets up and Dawn hits another dropkick. Veil staggers and Dawn grabs him and snapmares him over. She runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running dropkick to the face. She goes for the pin.

2!

Veil pushes her off. Veil rolls over as Dawn gets up and clubs him in the back once and then again before Veil shoves her back. She stops at the ropes. She then looks around and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope. Veil gets up and turns to her. She dives off for a diving hurricanrana, landing on his shoulders. Veil catches her and she looks around as she tries to snap him off to no avail. He then swings her up and falls back, driving her throat first into the top rope. The crowd ohs as Warren falls back and down to the mat, holding her throat. Veil calmly sits up and starts to get up.

Knots: “Jesus!”

Sharper: “Dawn Warren’s throat snapping off that top rope. Veil swinging her back and the impact…”

Veil walks over to Dawn as she coughs, trying to recover her breath. Veil drags her up and then just hits a throat thrust. Dawn falls to the ropes. Veil then grabs her and whips her across the ring. She bounces off and Veil hoists her up and methodically turns, driving her to the mat with a spinebuster. He leans on her.

Veil throws her down. Dawn rolls over and moves to the ropes.

Sharper: “This methodical offense. Just slowly, and literally at times, choking the life out of her.”

Knots: “Just smothering her.”

Veil grabs her and elbows her in the back of the head. She then hits another one before hoisting her up for a back suplex, but Dawn Warren manages to backflip through. She staggers back. She then runs at him and jumps up and hits the With Great Power. She fights to her feet and handsprings into the ropes and hits the Comes Great Responsibility. She goes for the pin.

Veil gets his shoulder up. Dawn looks up and hits a leg drop. She gets up and then looks around. Veil slowly starts to get up and Dawn then runs at Veil and jumps up onto his shoulders again. The crowd roars as Veil then turns and hits an electric chair drop. Dawn winces in pain. The crowd boos. Veil slowly gets up. Dawn turns and Veil grabs her and hits the Grave Silence. He then goes for the lateral press.

Warren kicks out. Veil slowly stirs.

Sharper: “Veil dropping Warren with the Grave Silence. But Warren find some way to get her shoulder up.”

Knots: “Talk about a hell of a return. Coming back to face that. And you’re now just fighting for survival!”

Veil then looks at Dawn and grabs and drags her up. He then grabs her arms and pulls her up and then hoists her up before dropping her down with the Final Thread. The crowd ohs. Veil then calmly turns and covers her with a lateral press.

1!

2!

3!

The crowd boos as Veil slowly gets up as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Veil!”

Veil doesn’t react, just stepping over Dawn. He then calmly steps through the ropes and to the floor.

Knots: “Is he coming over here?”

Sharper: “I don’t know. But Dawn Warren dropped onto his shoulder and she’s out. Veil with the win here tonight.”

Knots: “Not the homecoming Dawn wanted. That’s for sure.”

Veil then calmly walks around the ring and starts to head to the rampway. Lifelessly, he just walks to the back.

Backstage, we see Deanna Frost watching the monitor in the locker room she’s in. She then looks down as we see Luz and Amelia head over to her.

Amelia: “You know you’re safe here-“

Deanna: “I…well…’

Luz: “Don’t tell me you still have that?”

Deanna turns, revealing she is still holding onto the Heart of Vail she took from her match against Veil’s previous form months earlier.”

Deanna: “It almost…I feel it calling to be here. And I can’t keep it home.”

Amelia: “Get rid of it or-“

Deanna: “What if it’s important?”

Luz and Amelia look to one another and then back to Deanna.

Luz: “You’re getting better, your sanity, your ability to work past all of this is far more important.”

Deanna nods.

Luz: “You don’t have to be like Xander, thinking he can stand up to a threat alone. You have us. And tonight, we’re getting you back in the ring. You’re with me, okay?”

Deanna nods.

Deanna: “Yeah. It should be good to get back out there.”

Luz: “Exactly.”

Amelia: “Now just put that down and focus on the match. Try to clear your head.”

Deanna nods, looking at the artifact in her hand as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

The scene opens up in the locker room of the Fall of Man as we see Giovanni Aries talking to William Heaven as Waylon Creek just sits in the corner, Legion leaning on him, a paw on his lap. Just then, the door opens.

Billy Jr.: “What’s up bitches!”

Billy Heaven Jr. walks into the locker room.

Billy Jr.: “Your savior is here. We’re back up to strength. James Evans…we hardly knew ye, but we don’t need to worry because the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave is right here, y’all!”

William Heaven walks over to his son.

Heaven: “What are you doing here?”

Billy Jr.: “Riding in to help out. James out. Tough break, man, but the man probably was gonna pop sooner or later. And given that I’ll be getting some sweet gold soon, I’ll be fitting right in.”

Heaven: “You have your own plans. We don’t need-“

Billy Jr.: “Relax. I’m of clean bill of health and ready to go. Pull on the rope too. Hit up baddies, and make you a granddaddy. You got it?”

Heaven: “Just focus on your match.”

Billy Jr.: “Don’t worry. We’ll be holding more gold soon.”

Aries just looks at Billy Jr. as Billy winks and points at him and walks into the locker room as the scene cuts away.

Clyde Sutter vs. David Striker vs. Sal Darius

“I Hope You Suffer” by AFI plays and the crowd roars. A few moments pass before David Striker walks out from the back and scans the arena. He then nods a bit as he turns to the ring. Irvine and Kyle Gibson walk out from the back with him. Striker focuses on the ring though and heads to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is a triple threat match scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, accompanied by the Phantom Troupe, from Cameron, North Carolina, he is Bam Bam David Striker!”

The crowd roars as Striker heads to the ring and slides into the ring. He gets up to a knee and looks around before getting up to his feet. He then turns and runs into the ropes, before sticking his upper body under and out from the top rope, getting a louder reaction. Irvine and Gibson move to his corner.

Sharper: “David Striker in the ring and we’ve heard rumours he has something in mind for Rise to Greatness. We saw him talking to Marissa Swanson last week…and what are you doing?”

Knots: “Nothing!”

Sharper: “Are you making a call?”

Knots: “Checking on my pizza, okay!”

The lights in the arena go out as the opening chords of “Unforgiven” by Metallica begins to play.  As the song picks up its pace a spotlight shines at the top of the ramp and we see “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter standing there with a sinister grin on his face. He is joined by the beautiful Melinda Braddock. After a few moments of soaking in the crowd reaction, which he seems to enjoy despite their booing, Sutter and Melinda begin to make their slow walk down the ramp.

Phillips: “Next, from Charlotte, North Carolina, accompanied by Melinda Braddock, he is the Assassin, Clyde Sutter!”

The spotlight follows the sinister sociopath as he approaches the ring. They reach the ring area and Melinda kisses him on his cheek. Sutter then foregoes the steel steps as he leaps up from the floor to the ring apron.  With the spotlight remaining only on Sutter as one of the few lights in the arena at the moment, Sutter enters the ring and then stand in the center. The sound of Metallica dies down and the lights come back on.

Sharper: “Sutter, the harbinger of fate, as he says, has really made Chance Owens more than upset. And that is going to boil over.”

Knots: “Sutter’s ready for him if it happens. But come on – fate will abide. Maybe Chance Owens just has to look in the mirror. He can be angry and frustrated or take things personal or accept his fate and be happy!”

“California love” by 2Pac Shakur hits the arena and Sal Darius comes out wearing his world's famous blublockers. 'The Sex Vibe' comes out with all the hype and toughness. He walks a little and then takes a sprint to the ring.

Phillips: “And finally, from Venice, California, he is the Sex Vibe, Sal Darius!”

The crowd cheers a bit. After sliding in the ring underneath the bottom rope, he climbs the turnbuckle and points to his crouch. Then 'The King of the world of Hearts' throw his blublocker aviators in the crowd and jumps back performing boxing shadow in the ring warming up for his bout.

Sharper: “And California’s own, arriving to his home state, getting a nice reaction.”

Knots: “And he’d love to get back to the win column tonight. He’s been a bit all over the place as of late.”

The bell sounds and Darius and Striker both run at Sutter and both clothesline him down. They then turn and Darius kick Striker in the ribs and nails him with a hard right and then another. Striker ends up at the ropes and Darius goes to fire him across. Striker bounces off and ducks a clothesline. Darius turns around and Striker hits a shotei. Darius drops. Striker goes for the pin.

Darius kicks out. Striker and Darius get up and Sutter run over and clotheslines both down. Darius rolls over and Sutter grabs him and turns and throws him out of the ring. He turns around as Striker gets up and nails him with a hard right and then a kick to the ribs before whipping him into the ropes. Striker bounces off and Sutter hits a back elbow.

Sharper: “Sutter – point of the elbow. Striker down.”

Knots: “And a quick cover attempt!”

Sutter goes for the pin.

Striker kicks out. Both get up and Sutter kicks him in the ribs. He places his head between his legs and hoists him up for a powerbomb, but Striker slides down and then hits a shotei on him before then ducking under Sutter’s arm and hitting a Saito suplex. Sutter rolls over. Striker turns and Darius just hits a brogue kick. The crowd ohs. Darius goes for the pin.

Striker kicks out. Darius gets up and heads over to Sutter, but Sutter hoists him up and drops him with a spinebuster.

Sharper: “Darius with a nice bit of offense, but Clyde Sutter ending that run. A vicious spinebuster and would you get off your damn phone?!”

Knots: “Hey! It’s important!”

Sharper: “Doing you job would be better!”

Sutter gets up as Striker stirs and Sutter grabs him and hooks him up by the head and neck. He hoists him up and holds him up in a hanging vertical suplex position. The crowd looks on as Sutter glances back and then slams Striker right onto Darius. The crowd ohs. Darius rolls over in pain. Sutter then grabs him and pulls him up before scooping him up and hitting a fallaway slam. Sutter crawls over and hooks the leg.

Striker breaks it up. Sutter looks up and Striker, from his knees, nails Sutter with a couple of hard right hands. Sutter turns and gets up and then lunges for a clothesline on Striker. Striker spins under and grabs Sutter, hitting a release German suplex. Striker starts to get up and exits to the apron. He then looks at Sutter and points to the heavens before diving off and hitting a huge flying elbow drop to the back of Sutter. He rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Darius breaks it up.

Sharper: “Two count as Sal Darius getting in there just in time. Breaking it up and keeping this match going.”

Knots: “Timing is everything. Striker thought he had the opening. He was wrong.”

Darius then gets up as Striker pulls himself up and Striker goes for another shotei, but Darius spins out of the way and hits a roundhouse kick. Striker drops to the mat. He then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting the Darius Stomp. He goes for the pin.

He then hits an uppercut. Sutter falls back. Striker then drills Darius from behind with the Deadly Rave. Darius goes down. Striker goes for the pin.

Darius gets his shoulder up. He rolls over as Sutter runs over and clubs Striker in the back once and then again. Striker hits a jawbreaker. Sutter staggers and Darius gets up and hits a California slap to Striker and then another to Sutter. Striker then kicks Darius in the ribs only for Sutter to run out from the ropes and hit a double clothesline from hell. Striker and Darius are turned inside out.

Sharper: “Good lord! A double clothesline from hell. Darius down! Striker down!”

Knots: “And both trying to figure out if they’re still in California!”

Sutter starts to get up and grabs Sal Darius first. He pulls him up and clubs him in the back once and then again and again before going to whip him into the ropes. Darius hits the ropes and Sutter catches him for an Assassination, but Darius backflips through and ends up with his legs around the head of Sutter. He tries to hoist him up, but just then, Striker runs in and nails Darius with the Yamato, driving him down. Striker then rolls over and he turns and jumps up to do the same to Sutter, but Sutter catches him and lifts him up and throws him over the top rope to the floor. The crowd ohs. Sutter turns and covers Darius.

The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Sutter rolls off and looks around, smirking.

Knots: “Fate just said that sometimes life isn’t fair, Striker!”

Sharper: “Darius had Sutter set up. Striker came in and then attempted to do the same on Sutter. Sutter countered and Sutter picking up the win.”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Clyde Sutter!”

Sutter stands up and gets up, having his arm raised. Striker winces on the floor as he then shakes his head. Trvine and Gibson talk to him as Sutter turns to him and smirks. Darius rolls over, holding his head and neck as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Dexter Grant’s second, Wendell, walking over to the security checkpoint.

Wendell: “Uh…hi…has…has a Destiny Page checked in?”

The security guard at the checkpoint goes through their sheets. It takes a moment before they look up and shake their head no.

Wendell: “Thanks…”

Wendell turns and sighs.

Wendell: “That would’ve been too easy.”

Wendell takes a few steps before turning the corner and suddenly, we see WASLEY, seemingly thrown at Wendell, striking him in the side of the head, taking him down. We then see Wendell being dragged off, down one of the hallways. WASLEY remains on the ground as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Chris Dumont thrown against one of the walls in his locker room. Ryan Lyman stands over him in a full white suit and he stomps Dumont over and over.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown and with the Troupe with David Striker! That’s why you were texting!”

Knots: “Hey! I did nothing! You can check!”

Ryan then stands over Dumont.

Ryan: “Jon says hi! And Heaven says to go to hell! But I can take you to a different heaven! You just have to WALK with ME!”

Ryan grabs Dumont and runs him over and throws him out of the locker room. Dumont starts to get up and Ryan steps up and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Dumont falls to a knee. Ryan Lyman then starts to choke him against the wall. Dumont looks up at Ryan with defiance as Ryan keeps pushing him back. He then pushes him down to the ground. He then nails him with a shot to the ribs and then another, but this allows Dumont to bring his legs up and wrap them around the head of Ryan Lyman and goes into a triangle choke. Ryan, however, pulls away and then staggers off. Dumont starts to get up and Ryan runs over and nails him with another hard right. Dumont staggers forward and into an open area of the backstage area. A few crew members move out of the way as Ryan steps up and Dumont turns and forearms Ryan in the jaw.

Knots: “Damn it!”

Sharper: “Ryan Lyman and Chris Dumont fighting in the backstage area. Ryan jumping Dumont while the Troupe is returning from the ring.”

Knots: “Just because Ryan will be standing for me at Rise to Greatness. Don’t read any more into this. He’s looking to make a good impression. On me. On Heaven!”

Dumont forearms him again and runs Ryan over and into a couple of foot lockers. He rolls over them and slides behind them as they roll out. Ryan turns and winces in pain and starts to get up and Dumont steps up and climbs over one foot locker and nails Ryan with a hard right and then another and another. Ryan staggers off and then Dumont grabs him and runs him over and towards a table where some water and coffee is. He throws him into it. Bottles of water go flying. Ryan then grabs the coffee canister and throws it down. Hot coffee spilled out of it as Dumont dodges, avoiding getting scalded by the coffee. Ryan fights up to his feet and Dumont steps over and nails him with a hard right. Ryan rolls back and rolls over and starts to get up. Chris Dumont follows after and grabs him and tries to run him over to a light. He then grabs one of the cords and tries to wrap it around the throat of Ryan. Ryan fights grabbing at the light. It falls over and he then starts to pull himself up before hitting a mule kick. Chris rolls over, holding himself in pain. Ryan winces and gets up and grabs the light. He then turns and throws it down on Chris. Chris winces as Ryan then looks around and then staggers over to a trash can. He lifts it up, trash tipping out of it. He then runs over and throws it at Dumont. Dumont moves out of the way and then Dumont runs at Ryan and tackles him down. He then kneels forward and nails Ryan with a hard right and then another and another and another. Ryan rolls over. He starts to crawl away and starts to fight up, scuff marks on his white pants evident. Chris grabs his blazer and pulls on it. Ryan fights and gets his arms out of it and staggers forward, managing to get out of the blazer. Chris Dumont throws it down and follow after.

Sharper: “And Ryan! He’s running! He’s running away!”

Knots: “Chris Dumont is assaulting him! The man has no shame!”

Sharper: “Ryan attacked him first!”

Knots: “So we think! Maybe Chris went after him! He’s been the aggressor all along!”

Ryan runs through one set of doors and then turns. Dumont runs after him, the camera chasing after Dumont. Dumont continues to chase after him before we get to one of the loading areas. He looks around. He then turns and goes towards one path. We then hear a yell as we see Ryan running out holding a piece of piping and goes to nail Dumont. Dumont dodges again, ducking as Ryan throws the piping at his head. Dumont then grabs Ryan and turns and runs him over and throws him face first into the metal overhead door. Ryan staggers back and Dumont then grabs him and throws him back first into the door. Chris Dumont then turns around and grabs him and wrenches his arms, but Ryan turns and pulls him in and throws Chris face first into the door. Ryan crawls away as Chris drops to the floor, wincing, holding his forehead. Ryan then grabs the door and starts to pull on the chain to lift it up. It starts to go up and Ryan then turns and grabs Chris and moves him so his throat would be under the door.

Sharper: “Ryan is opening that door…he’s going for his throat!”

Knots: “Well it would shut him up!”

Sharper: “This is heinous! He’s going to try and injure Chris Dumont!”

Ryan then stands over Dumont.

Ryan: “You could’ve just walked with me! Enjoy hell-“

Dumont then sits up enough to punch Ryan right in where it counts. Ryan knees over as Dumont pulls himself up and then turns him and hits the Code Zero. Ryan drops to his side and Dumont looks around and looks at him. He then spins him around and places his left leg under the door.

Dumont: “No…Ryan…you go to hell. And tell Knots I’ll take him there too…and Heaven as well!”

Dumont then takes the door and slams it down, causing it to drive into the left ankle of Ryan. Ryan yells in pain. Dumont then grits his teeth as he lifts the door open again a few feet before then pushing down and slamming it a second time on Ryan’s ankle. Ryan yells in pain as Dumont staggers back.

Sharper: “That door! Twice on the ankle!”

Knots: “Oh God!”

Sharper: “Ryan Lyman yelling in pain!”

Chris Dumont looks at Lyman.

Dumont: “Try walking now, asshole!”

Dumont backs up as we see David Striker now running onto the scene, joined by Irvine and Kyle Gibson. Dumont turns.

Striker: “You okay…”

Dumont: “Now I am. The cowardly jackass sent his so called knight against me. See how that went…”

Striker smirks as Dumont walks past, joining Irvine who wraps his arm around him. We cut back to ringside.

Knots is shown, face again in his hand.

Sharper: “How are you doing?”

Knots: “Shut up! Can’t you see we just saw a man injured. Ankle too. I hope it’s not bad. I hope it’s not bad! That’s a pain in the ass to come back from.”

Sharper: “And to a nicer guy it couldn’t have happened.”

Knots: “What?”

Sharper: “Here. I’ll use CHBK’s word – consequences. After everything he put Simon through, Amy through, people on this roster…and that he attacked Dumont…Ryan getting some karma. You don’t want to see someone get injured, but he set it up for himself!”

Knots: “Oh God!”

Knots again places his face in his hands.

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing a plain black halter-style dress that stops just above her knees, that shows off her thick thighs along with the top half of her back as she has her made up into a sophisticated bun. The SCW Underground Championship is strapped around her waist. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring, seemingly at least them respecting her. She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring. Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring. Once inside she immediately walks across the ring and gestures to Jason Phillips that she would like his microphone. Before he hands it into the ring, he introduces her as her music fades.

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time our SCW Underground Champion, Colleen MacDonald!”

Phillips hands it up to her and Colleen takes it into her left hand. She then goes and stands smack dab in the center of the ring, looking upwards, sighing. When she has brought her head back down to its original position, she begins to address everyone.

Colleen: “This is tough for me. I never thought this night would come. Yet, here we are. Are we here at this very moment because I feel that maybe The Monster Machine’s Spiral is just too much for me to handle, before I even get to look into his eyes myself at Rise to Greatness?”

Colleen pauses but answers very quickly.

Colleen: “No. That’s not it. That won’t bother me or scare me. Being on the grandest stage of them all won’t bother or scare me either. I know how to grace a stage and perform to the best of my ability on it. I’m sure you all remember Under Attack. So, since Enigma isn’t the issue, I’ll bet I know everyone’s next inclination. It’s because once again I felt disrespected after what happened after my match against Meghan last week between her and Syren.”

Another very brief pause.

Colleen: “Again, no. It would have been that, but that is not why I am out here in the middle of this ring right now. I’m out here because despite the fact that Meghan was able to pin me clean without using her family for probably the first time in her life, she chose to mention something prior to our match on supremecw.com that is not part of her business, nor is it part of anyone else’s. But… since it came up. I will tell you that it’s true.”

This leads to a lot of murmuring in the crowd. Even Sharper and Knots are looking at one another at the announce desk. A camera returns to Colleen.

Colleen: “My childhood sucked, okay? There you have it. Now the whole world knows that the SCW Underground Champion has a mother and a father that never truly gave a DAMN about her! And never will either!”

She glares right at the camera now, her dark eyes almost looking like non-moving spirals.

Colleen: “They are the reason for why I have been the way I have been and am the way I am. I have demanded respect because I have had to live life basically all on my own and I think I have done a very good job of doing just that. I would rather have been completely alone for a million lifetimes then have to refer to them as my parents. But I can’t change the past. Not a single one of us can. All that any of us can do is continue to move forward, keep our nose to the grindstone, and be the best that we can be. Bad sh*t happens in this world and we can’t do a damn thing about it. What we should NOT do is rub each other’s nose in it. So, when I said I would be back for Meghan eventually when I feel like it? I meant it. Maybe after Syren is done with you. Maybe once you realize that you are just not good enough for the SCW World Championship. Maybe next time you will show me and others more respect.”

Colleen continues.

Colleen: “Until then, I am a very down-to-Earth, real woman and I am not going to be intimidated by others. Enigma will not get to me, even though I’m sure he believes that that loss to Meghan last week has weakened my resolve. Hint. It hasn’t. I have been through far worse than a loss to a woman who fancies herself a mother when she can’t even keep her own family in check most of the time. She will get hers soon enough, as will Enigma, as will anyone who disrespects not just me, but disrespects anyone that doesn’t deserve it.”

The last few words do get a really good cheer from the crowd. She walks to the ropes and with class hands the microphone back down to Jason Phillips as “How Far I’ll Go” plays again.

Sharper: “Very interesting that Colleen has shown no fear about telling the entire world about her insecurities here tonight. She never has before. Why start now?”

Knots: “I don’t know. A lot of people are just running on high. Some people, just block it out! She was miffed about Kim at first. Now they seem to have respect. Now she’s looking to not be passed over. Come back and take them out! Don’t just talk about it!”

Colleen slowly gets out of the ring and starts to walk to the back. As she gets about halfway up the rampway, the music cuts out and changes to “Scum Of The Earth” by Rob Zombie. Colleen looks up and continues on her way as the Monster Machine, Enigma, walks out from the back, microphone in his hand. He looks at her. Colleen shows no fear, walking up to him. Enigma stops and looks down at her. His music fades out. He just looks at her, Colleen glaring at him.

Enigma: “Am I supposed to give a damn?”

The crowd boos.

Enigma: “Who gives a [bleep] about your childhood? If it motivates you, fine. But you seem to have a lot of axes to grind. You want respect. Act like you don’t get high on it. Take it. Like I will take your Underground Championship. Like I will take everything you’ve earned in the Underground, against Kim, in the eyes of these fans…and snuff it out!”

Colleen looks at Enigma, eyes glaring right through him.

Enigma: “You asked for this. Don’t get soft on me now!”

Enigma then shoves Colleen back. She staggers, but plants her feet. Enigma just shakes his head and backs up. “Scum of the Earth” plays again as Enigma just looks right at Colleen, almost with disgust, before he turns his back to Colleen. Colleen just glares at him as Enigma heads to the back. The scene slowly cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

The scene opens up in a dark room. We then hear the sound of a metal chair being dragged on the floor. A single light bulb swings from above. We then see Wendell, blindfolded, gagged, and tied to a chair. We then see Kimberly Williams and she smiles before pulling Wendell’s blindfold up.

Kim: “Hi! I’m Kimmy! You’re the creepy kid that hangs out with my new mortal enemy!”

Wendell tries to speak, but the gag prevents him.

Kim: “Oh no…see, there’s no speaking yet. See, I figure you’ve been brainwashed by Jiminy Jones and well, see, social media is WONDERFUL. It’s how I talk to my Kimmymaniacs when I’m not out in public. And they tell me things. Like how much they hate Syren. And how stupid Dexter Grant is. And how UNICORNS are awesome, and that they wish to be here, the day before July 4, in one nation under WASLEY!”

Wendell tries to scream.

Kim: “Now, I can’t really put you on social media. You’ll just regurgitate whatever Dexy’s Midnight Runners is telling you. So…I have something better. It’s this!”

Kim then pulls out a set of noise-cancelling headphones, connected to a music player.

Kim: “You’re going to find out everything trending! I’m going to show you the world, Wendy’s! And this, sir, IS a Wendy’s for our purposes!”

Wendell screams again as Kim places the headphones on Wendell and pulls the blindfold down.

Kim: “Shhhh…just let the music take you away! Gotta give you both sides!”

Kim pats him on the head before taking WASLEY and placing him on top of Wendell’s lap.

Kim: “WASLEY! You watch him!”

Kim then walks off as Wendell can be heard trying to scream through the gag as the scene cuts away.

Billy Heaven Jr. vs. Chris Lawler

SCW Television Championship

Do it baby! Do what I should think!
Do it-do it baby, do what I could think!

The opening polyphonic strokes of Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” hit the PA, and the crowd immediately turns to boos. The stage lights intensify in brightness. Through the light, we can see the outline of an emerging competitor.

I AIN’T EVER REP A SET BABY!

A two-step through the light and into the ramp, Billy Heaven pops onto the scene in his wrestling gear, a very large pair of sunglasses on his face.

I AIN’T DO NO WRONG!

A shimmy and a hard stop.

I COULD CLEAN UP GOOD FOR YA! OH I KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG!

A sharp three-hundred degree pivot on the ball of his foot, a crisp landing in a split-legged stance, left hand pointing to the sky.

‘CAUSE I WANNA MAKE IT, SO BADLY!

A sharp return of his upward pointed hand into an intense pump, thrust, and strut forward.

I’M A MILLION DOLLA BAYBAY, DON’T AT ME!

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television Championship! First, the challenger, from Los Angeles, California, he is Billy Heaven Jr.!”

And with that said, Billy Heaven Jr. obnoxiously smiles pointing to the crowd as he makes his way down to the ring. He rolls under the bottom rope, outstretched arms to receive his less than warm ovation, but it does not seem to register. He takes the sunglasses off and sets them on the top turnbuckle before standing on the second rope, leg over the top, bringing his hands together in a prayer. “Million Dollar Baby” dies out.

Knots: “Where’s the love? He’s coming home. He’s coming home to become champion!”

Sharper: “The Fall of Man not well liked here in California. Billy Heaven Jr. back in the ring and you saw him act as Fall of Man’s savior. We will see what he can do against Chris Lawler.”

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp. The SCW Television Championship is around his waist.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Nashville, Tennessee, he is the SCW Television Champion, Chris Lawler!”

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits. As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination. Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. He hands off the title as the SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen. The official, Steve Hollinsworth, holds the title over his head and hands it off.

Sharper: “Lawler meanwhile dealing with Dante Slayton who attacked him after Lawler successfully defended the title against Oskar Theron.”

Knots: “Sounds like Lawler has a target on his back. Slayton just laid him out and then whistled his way to the back.”

The bell sounds. Lawler looks at Heaven as Heaven walks out and throws his arms out to the sky. The crowd boos as he looks around and then turns to Lawler only for Lawler to drop him with a haymaker. The crowd erupts. Billy pops back up and Lawler nails him with another haymaker. Billy hits the mat and gets up, staggering back to the corner. Lawler steps up and nails him with a hard left and then a right before another left and then nailing him over and over and over again. The crowd cheers with each blow.

Sharper: “Hard clothesline sending Billy Heaven Jr. up and over.”

Knots: “And Mave Deltzer’s favourite wrestler is going to need a herculean effort to get to the ten star range!”

Lawler then steps through the ropes and drops down to the floor. (1) Billy gets up and Lawler grabs him and runs him over to the steel steps. Billy falls back. (2) He slowly gets up and Lawler grabs him and then hoists him up into the air with a military press.(3) The crowd roars, but Billy shifts back and lands on the apron. Lawler kicks out. Billy falls over and starts to get up. Lawler starts to pull himself up and Billy runs over and knees him in the chest once and then again and again. Lawler falls back into a kneeling position in the corner.

Sharper: “Lawler knocked back and Billy Heaven Jr….what is he doing?”

Knots: “He’s getting a running start. Maybe there’s a mosh pit he wants to launch into.”

Billy Heaven runs around and then jumps up and hits a delayed dropkick into the side of Lawler’s head. The crowd ohs. Lawler falls to the mat. Billy pulls him out and leans on him for the pin.

Lawler kicks out. He turns and starts to get up only for Billy to lock in a chinlock. Lawler winces as Billy pulls him up. He then yells out, taunting the crowd as Lawler keeps getting his feet under him. He then elbows Billy in the ribs once and then again. He runs into the ropes, bouncing off. He ducks a clothesline from Billy and hits the opposite side of the ring and hits a huge flying clothesline.

Sharper: “Lawler back off the ropes! Big clothesline.”

Knots: “Billy! Gotta focus here, man!”

Billy Heaven Jr. slowly rolls over and starts to get up only for Lawler to grab him and hoist him up with a high angle back suplex. He then turns and gets up and drives his elbow into the chest of his challenger. He goes for the pin.

Lawler gets his shoulder up and rolls over. He starts to get up and Billy grabs him and sets up for a T-Bone suplex. Lawler elbows out of it and Billy spins around only for Lawler to press him over his head only to then drop him with the Fury Suplex. He then hooks the leg.

2!

Billy gets his shoulder up.

Sharper: “And the Fury Suplex gets two. Lawler hoped to put him away with it.”

Knots: “But Billy Jr. won’t ever give up. We saw that earlier. Even through the injuries, the pain, the heart of this man!”

Billy rolls over and looks around. He then points to a girl in the front row before winking only for Lawler to drag him up and pull him up and then hit a backbreaker. He turns and exits to the apron. Lawler climbs up to the top rope. He looks down at Billy and hits the Air Assault. The crowd roars. He goes for the pin.

Billy shoots his shoulder up. He then rolls over and moves to the ropes. Lawler gets up, refusing to hesitate, and grabs at Billy. Billy gets to the ropes and hits a back elbow. Lawler staggers and Billy hits a jumping enziguri kick. Lawler drops to his hands and knees. Billy turns and exits to the apron.

Sharper: “Billy Heaven Jr. making an opening!”

Knots: “Caught Lawler right in the side of the head. That brought him to his knees!”

Billy climbs up to the top rope. He then looks around and points to the crowd before stepping up and going for a frog splash, but Lawler stands up and catches him on his shoulders. The crowd erupts as he staggers around and then plants his feet and then drops him with the Impact Driver! The crowd cheers as Lawler stays down.

3!

The crowd roars as the bell sounds and Lawler rolls off.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and STILL SCW Television Champion, Chris Lawler!”

Sharper: “Billy Heaven Jr. may be claiming to be a savior, but he’s still not a champion. Lawler catches Heaven Jr. and then manhandles him into the Impact Driver!”

Knots: “Billy left his feet…and that was all. Lawler just drove him to hell! Billy…I hope you’re okay!”

Billy rolls over as Lawler gets up. He then looks around as he is handed the SCW Television Championship. He holds it over his head as SCW interview Jaina Lancaster enters the ring.

Sharper: “And with Chris Lawler victorious, I’m sure he’s thinking about Slayton and that attack.”

Knots: “He keeps looking around too.”

Sharper: “Almost ready if he tries to jump him again. Jaina…take it away.”

Jaina Lancaster walks over to Lawler, holding a microphone.

Jaina: “Chris…congratulations on retaining the SCW Television Championship.”

The crowd cheers a bit.

Jaina: “A hard fought win. You now are back on a tear, but last week, you were jumped by Dante Slayton. I’m sure you have something to say. You even keep looking around.”

Lawler: “I keep looking around because despite the fact I beat him, right here in this ring, you know…the way we are supposed to govern ourselves...He chose to then jump me after a match.”

Lawler scoffs a bit.

Lawler: “Look, I get it. I came back. I’m a veteran now. Coming back, looking to make an impact and I’ve had moments where I’ve flown off the handle. I’ve done things I regret. Both in this ring and outside of it. He’s going to follow that path. It’s called being human. But if he thinks it’s going to help him out, getting noticed, and getting ahead…All I see is an arrogant prick who can’t see the forest for the trees.”

Jaina: “What about the rumours that have been floating around – whispers if you will. Slayton has been overheard saying that he’s not going to let someone get over him. That his name is worth more than that, and they say he’s speaking about you.”

Lawler: “His name? How about I make this clear. Given how he’s acted it…against me? Slayton’s name is synonymous with one thing in my mind…chickenshit!”

The crowd ohs as Lawler steps back and turns and walks over to the ropes. His music plays in the background as Lawler then exits the ring. He drops down to the floor and heads to the back.

Knots: “I don’t think we can get more blunt than that.”

Sharper: “Dante Slayton is not going to like that when that gets back to him. Lawler just basically calling him a coward.”

Knots: “He knows he has to defend the title weekly, right?”

Chris Lawler continues to head to the back as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Amelia Nevado, La Pequena Luz and Deanna Frost standing outside of the Light in the Darkness locker room.

Nevado: “Deanna…you’ve got this.”

Luz: “And I’ll be right there.”

Deanna nods.

Deanna: “I’m good. Let’s go…”

Nevado: “Good luck!”

Luz and Deanna walk down the hallway.

Sharper: “Next! Deanna Frost returns to the ring, teaming with La Pequena Luz and against the European Fiery Nation!”

They walk past the camera before we see Nevado turn back to her locker room and we see a crew member running over to her.

Crew member: “Amelia?”

Nevado: “Yes?”

Crew member: “Just have a message from CHBK. He wanted to let you know that you’ve been booked for Rise to Greatness and it actually came as a special request.”

Amelia is a bit surprised.

Nevado: “Oh…really? Who? Against who?”

Crew member: “Chris Cannon. He specifically asked to face you.”

Amelia Nevado is a bit surprised.

Nevado: “That’s an honour. Tell CHBK I would be thrilled to face Chris. Ah…thank you!”

The crew member nods and heads off. Amelia turns to herself and smiles as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Dexter Grant can be seen walking through the hallway. He takes a few steps and stops before noticing the camera following him. Grant walks over to the camera.

Grant: “You…right now, an unhinged lost soul has kidnapped someone that I care for. And you’re following me for a reaction! That is what is wrong not just with you, not just with SCW, but society! Someone gets into a car accident and instead of being a human, and realizing they’ve erred, they get out on their phone and dance in front of it, hoping to monetize their stupidity for likes. Or if another person is involved, they don’t try to help. Everyone films it, wanting to take advantage of the worst day of someone’s life. Kimberly Williams is a scourge on this planet. A joke. And someone who I will humble I get my opportunity. Her stupid stuffed penguin. Her goofy antics. She herself at times has said she wants to prove herself in the ring…this sets her back to square one. And that SCW cosigns this by broadcasting it!”

Grant turns briefly and turns back.

Grant: “I’ll be the corrective you all need. And it will start when I stand over Kimberly Williams and put that glass ceiling firmly over her head, standing hold with the title I hold in SCW. But for now, I need to find Wendell!”

Grant turns and yells.

Grant: “Where is security?!”

Grant storms down the hallway as the camera cuts away.

La Pequena Luz & Deanna Frost vs. The European Fiery Nation

“Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play as bright white lights begin flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. La Pequeña Luz skips out onto the stage with the kind of smile that could light up an entire room all on its own plastered to her face, dancing a bit to her theme song and waving her arms in an attempt to get the crowd pumped up, drawing cheers. She remains at the top of the stage. The music changes as the chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet. She turns to Luz, smiling.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico, she is La Pequena Luz. Her partner, from Manhattan, New York, she is Deanna Frost!”

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Luz and Deanna high-fives fan along the way until they reach the ring. Sliding under the ring, the redhead jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring. Luz enters the ring and climbs to the middle turnbuckle and looks around before vaulting herself into the ring.

Sharper: “A unique match here. La Pequena Luz in a rare occasion teaming with someone that’s not her partner. Deanna Frost instead will team with her and you can tell this is based on their friendship and mutual respect. Trying to ease Deanna back in. Having support at ringside.”

Knots: “We saw here still affected by Veil. I don’t know what that means for Rise to Greatness. Tonight it may be good. Luz may not focus on it. But Jordan may, and Asher, if he falls off the wagon might too!”

“Off To War” by Behemoth plays over the sound system with the lights going dark as Ginny Raab walks out and stands in the middle of the stage, Ludvig and Kemal on the left and Dakon and Oskar on the right-hand sides, looking at the crowd and got heavy boos. When the lights briefly come back on, you see Dakon, Oskar, Ludvig, Kemal and Ginny waving their Norway, Sweden, Turkey and German flags. The five stand on the stage.

Phillips: “This opponents, making their way to the ring, accompanied by Ginny Raab, Kemal Yilmaz and Oskar Theron, coming from Sweden and Norway, they are Ludvig Eriksson and Dakon Theron, The European Fiery Nation."

The lights go out again as the group walk down to the ring with their flags and step on the stairs, and do a hold-up in the middle of the ring as they gives their flags to Ginny, and she leaves the ring to go to the back. Kemal and Oskar talk to Dakon and Ludvig.

Sharper: “Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson look to rebound after a hard-fought underground rules battle against the Connection last week.”

Knots: “They better remember that the rules are in force here. This isn’t Underground rules!”

The bell sounds. Deanna and Luz speak to one another for a moment before Dakon and Ludvig run across the ring. Ludvig nails Deanna from behind and knocks her down. Theron clotheslines Luz down and stomps her over and over as Luz is forced to the floor. The crowd boos as Eriksson clubs Deanna in the back again and again before Dakon grabs her and he and Ludvig fire her across the ring. She bounces off and they hoist her up and hit a double spinebuster. The crowd ohs. Eriksson goes for the pin.

Deanna walks around the ring. Eriksson winces and turns and grabs Luz. He then drags her up and elbows her in the back of the head and then again before whipping her into the ropes. Sharper: “Cash Out on Deanna! No!”

Knots: “And to catch her like that. When she was vulnerable. After everything…Jordan Majors playing chess!”

Sharper: “Don’t tell me you condone that! After the mental health challenges she’s had!”

Knots: “Hey! It’s strategy! And Jordan Majors has been going for the jugular since she got back!”

Luz checks on Deanna as Majors walks around the ring. The crowd boos her as she just smirks and heads to the back.

COMMERCIALS

The scene reopens in whatever room Kimberly Williams has Wendell holed up. We can see him almost in tears as Kimberly Williams walks over and pulls the gag off from his mouth.

Kim: “Awww…how you doin? Are you enjoying the best of the trending world?”

A few more sobs.

Wendell: “…like Nintendo….me,, espresso….”

The door then opens as Wendell continues to sob. Kim turns as Angelica Jones walks into the room.

Jones: “Kim! What are you doing?”

Kim: “I’m introducing this man to Sabrina Carpenter. She’s annoying like Syren! And Polly…and other people…we have a lot of annoying people around here. I wanted to see how tough he was. He has to listen to Dexy’s Midnight Runners all the time?”

Jones: “Come on Eileen?”

Kim: “No! Disconnect to Reconnect…”

Kim mocks Dexter Grant’s catchphrase.

Jones: “You can’t just kidnap him-“

Kim: “I’m going to give him right back!”

Jones: “And you’re torturing him!”

Kim: “Nuh-uh! He’s not gotten to the second half of the playlist. It’s Syren’s theme over and over. That’s just because we need more people hating Syren!”

Jones: “Kim…”

Kim sighs.

Kim: “Fine! Wendy’s! You stay here. I’ll be back!”

Angelica looks at Wendell as he continues to half sing the words of Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso as Kim then leads her mother out of the room.

Back at ringside, blue and white lights flash as a fast drumbeat fills the arena followed by the words:

{I will not be afraid! I will not be afraid!}

The crowd roars as Amy Chastaine appears at the top of the stage. “Hell & Consequences” by Stone Sour continues. She looks around the arena as she steps forward and scans the crowd. She takes a few deep breaths before then throwing her arm in the air., looking upwards as she does. Blue and red pyro shoots out in the air. Amy starts down the rampway, her energy matching the music as she greets a few fans along the way.

Sharper: “Amy Chastaine has a been a thorn in the side of Waylon Creek for the last few weeks. Ever since she was thrown off the stage by Waylon…”

Knots: “Turns out that pisses people off. Well, Amy, you may have picked the wrong fight!”

Sharper: “Let’s go back a few weeks now…”

BREAKDOWN – May 22, 2025

Simon Lyman walks out from the back, cane in hand, as he uses it to steady himself. Amy Chastaine walks out with him. Ryan Lyman, who is in the ring, then turns and sees them as the crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Ryan Lyman was in the ring-“

Knots: “Don’t remind me about him.”

Sharper: “And Simon came to confront him. Amy joined him. But Fall of Man came out. It was an ambush. And you see here…Creek just manhandling the SCW Hall of Famer!”

Simon and Amy make their way forward and take a few more steps onto the ramp before we see Giovanni Aries, Waylon Creek and James Evans run out from the back. Giovanni grabs Amy Chastaine from behind. She turns, but Aries throws Chastaine onto the stage towards Creek. Creek then nails her with a clothesline. She goes down. Ryan laughs as Simon turns around as James Evans clotheslines her down. Chastaine slowly rolls over and Creek then grabs her, muscling her up and before she can get her footing under her, and then throws her off the end of the stage. The crowd roars as Chastiane flies off and through a table with some cords and a laptop on the floor next to the stage. Chastaine rolls over into a heap. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We return to a live shot as Amy Chastaine is in the ring, watching the scene on the big screen, microphone in her hand. She looks around as the music fades out and Amy starts to walk around the ring.

Chastaine: “I don’t take kindly to people trying to injure me or trying to end my career…or the careers of people I care about.”

Chastaine looks around as the crowd roars.

Chastaine: “The bodies the Fall of Man have left laying are many, but so many more are fighting back and I’m part of them. And Waylon…hello! Hi! We never really met, but we’re starting to get to know each other well, aren’t we?!”

The crowd roars.

Chastaine: “How does it feel to now have every best laid plan now probably falling down just because you pissed off the wrong person!”

Chastaine looks around.

Chastaine: “I’ve seen it all. I’ve done it all. I’m in the SCW Hall of Fame. I’ve faced the immoveable objects. I’ve faced the unstoppable forces. And I have fought them all to where I have stood tall!”

Chastaine walks over to the corner, where a cameraman is set up and she looks right into the camera.

Chastaine: “And you’re the next next big thing that picked the wrong fight. While you were just getting rid of an obstacle in your eyes to do another beat down to assert your dominance, you took me and threw me off the stage, through a table. You then went after a man, a man who I have a unique relationship with, while serving another man who deserves ALL of the negative karma coming to him.”

Chastaine briefly stops and glares at Knots. Knots turns away.

Chastaine: “But I have heard enough from that blowhard William Heaven to see that someone’s value is getting over inflated. I’m not going to stand here and say you don’t have talent – you clearly do. I just don’t care. I just see someone who doesn’t respect what we do and doesn’t respect me or anyone I care about and I decided to make a choice. First, I entered the Taking Hold of the Flame, hoping to cut down Fall of Man’s chances. And then since…I’ve been waiting, and watching, and every time you make a move, I will be there and I will disrupt. Because I can. Because I know I can and I will do it well. I’ve already done it time and time. And I will continue to do it because I can. And until you realize you can’t run roughshod…well…I’ll be the most annoying thorn in your paw, and I will make sure that the sheen around you, Waylon Creek, is a bit less shiny, until people realize you are just human…and YOU learn some humility!”

The crowd roars.

Chastaine: “And trust me, I am damn stubborn. Ask ANYONE who has crossed me. ANYONE and-“

We then see William Heaven walk out from the back, microphone in hand.

Heaven: “A nice speech, Amy.”

Sharper: “Heaven coming out. And he can do so a bit easier. Remember, Dumont can’t attack him if he wants to keep that five minutes in play at Rise to Greatness. Have any idea who may replace Ryan, Jon?”

Knots: “Shut up.”

Chastaine turns to the entrance way.

Heaven: “Please don’t mind me. But I figured I would correct some misconceptions. William Heaven is not just the next big thing. He is the big thing now. And that will be certain. And ultimately, Amy, nothing was personal…except well that you are just an obstacle as you said. Of the old guard of opportunities…even given on last year when you frankly did not earn it by my estimation.”

Chastaine chuckles a bit.

Heaven: “And I would suggest reconsidering the company you keep. Then again, I also know how stubborn you are. It’s why you’ve fallen off the wagon multiple times, right-“

The crowd ohs.

Chastaine: “Do you want me to cripple your meal ticket?”

Heaven stops and smiles.

Heaven: “You’re very high on yourself. A sign of someone who is and has been a champion. Most great have that confidence. Too bad its misplaced. And you are making a terrible decision. But you can salvage what exists. Simply recognize that we’re even. Nothing, yet, is personal on our end. On yours-“

Chastaine: “I’m not stopping going after him. Not for one second. You try and end my career…I plan to give you a wrestling lesson. So…”

Heaven: “And then you’ll need to be given a preview of what awaits-“

Heaven turns behind him. Amy watches, before then looking up at the big screen. The crowd roars as we see Waylon Creek in a military jacket, and fatigues, hop over the barricade. He then runs to the ring. Amy notices the change in the angle on the big screen and turns as Creek slides in. She runs over and stomps him in the back over and over and over again. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Creek came from the crowd! And dressed in his military fatigues!”

Knots: “He’s served our country. He deserves our respect!”

Sharper: “He has respect. It’s his damn tactics with Heaven. And Chastaine, a veteran, watching the big screen sensing an attack!”

Chastaine stomps him again and again before then backing up and Creek starts to get up and Chastaine hits the Lightning Strike. Creek staggers as Chastaine turns to the corner, exiting to the apron, and climbs up to the top rope. She stands up and then dives off for the Eclipse, but Creek steps forward and catches her and drives her down into his knee. Chastaine rolls over, holding her back in pain. Creek then gets up and grabs her and pumphandles her before muscling her up and planting her with a pumphandle slam. The crowd ohs. Chastaine rolls over and holds her head and neck. She starts to reach for the rope, trying to use it to get back up. Creek just gets up and takes off his military jacket and placing it on the top rope. He then waits as Chastaine gets up and turns and walks into Creek who quickly applies the Canary!

Sharper: “And Creek with the Canary! He’s got the Canary on Amy Chastaine!”

Knots: “That’s what you’re in for Amy. You had your out!”

Sharper: “And looks like Creek is laser focused on her. We need to get that hold off of her. I can do some serious damage!”

Creek pushes back and pushes Amy down to the mat. He leans down on her. Amy grabs at the hand, trying to pull it off, while stomping at the mat. Creek leans forward as Amy starts to go limp from the pain. He keeps pushing as Amy is laid out. He then looks down at her.

Sharper: “Release the hold, damn it! Release it!”

Creek locks eyes before then pulling away. He then starts to get up as Heaven smiles. Officials run down from the back, heading to the ring. Creek turns as “Mountain Banjo” starts to play. The banjo plays in the background as Creek then grabs his military coat and calmly exits the ring. Officials slide in and go over to Amy to check on her. Creek then walks around the ring and over to the entrance way. He then calmly walks to the back, Heaven awaiting him at the top of the stage. Officials check on Chastaine as the scene cuts away.

Syren vs. Spencer Pryce

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. We cut to the backstage area we see Syren, in her full ring gear, complete with black ring jacket and pink halter-top/black tights, making her way down a corridor, accompanied by Lexy Chapel dressed in a long skirt and t-shirt that reads ‘REJOICE, LEXY NATION’. She begins walking into the arena as we cut back to inside to see the fans reacting.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

“Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as we see one of the doors opening and Syren and Lexy walking through. She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

Syren and Lexy both walk down the walkway to the crowd barricade, occasionally slapping the hands of fans, before walking around and through the timekeeper’s area. Syren jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, being accompanied by Lexy Chapel and representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California!”

The crowd cheers.

Phillips: “This is Syren!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client. She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Syren takes off her ring jacket and hands that to Lexy before taking back the title. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down and standing in her corner with Lexy, as her music fades out.

Sharper: “Syren returning to her home city and to be in action here. She’s got to enjoy this.”

Knots: “If her head isn’t on a swivel, focusing on Meghan Strader. They’ll meet at Rise to Greatness.”

Sharper: “SCW officials are closely watching this one. They want to avoid every match involving Syren or Strader turning into a brawl and marred by interference.”

The light dim for a few moments, then the stage lights up in red as music begins:

{There's nothing more dangerous
Than a man with something to prove and nothing to lose
There nothing more dangerous
Than a man with nothing to lose}

A white spotlight hits the stage near the curtain as Spencer Pryce steps out, a bit distracted at first, before then moving into his normal entrance, arms spread wide. Spencer then makes his way down the ramp, focused on the ring.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Beaumont, Texas, he is Spencer Pryce!”

{I will dominate
Seize the day
Ring the bell
Storm the gates

I will dominate, dominate
through the pain, through the pain}

Running up the steps, Spencer then grabs the top rope, using it as leverage to leap over the top rope to enter. Stepping to the center of the ring, Spencer spreads his arms wide again, and makes a big exaggerated turn along with the next lyrics:

{Mine to give, mine to take
I was made to dom - i - nate!}

Spencer then goes to his corner and uses the ropes for some stretches as the music fades out.

Sharper: “And you see Spencer Pryce, a bit off coming out. We’ve been told he, along with Simon Lyman, were checking on Amy Chastaine.”

Knots: “And now he has to reset and focus on facing Syren in her hometown. Yeah, that’s going to be easy!”

Pryce keeps stretching as the bell sounds. Syren steps out as does Pryce. The two circle the ring briefly before locking up in the middle of the ring. Pryce turns into an arm wrench. He then slowly lifts the arm up and wrenches it again. Syren winces and somersaults forward, nipping up and then countering into a hammerlock. Pryce reaches around and grabs the head of Syren. He jumps up a bit and drops down, taking Syren over with a snapmare. She rolls through. Pryce gets up and Syren runs at him. Pryce sidesteps and pushes Syren into the ropes. Syren bounces off and Pryce hits a hip toss. Syren gets her feet up and pushes Pryce back. She nips up and Pryce rolls through and runs at her. Syren drops down and hits a drop toe hold and then jumps forward into a side headlock.

Sharper: “Syren and Pryce back and forth here. Both keeping a hand on one another.”

Knots: “Looking to control, but also a lot of feeling out.”

Syren and Pryce start to get up and Pryce forearms Syren in the ribs and pulls her into the ropes. He fires her off. Syren bounces off and Pryce shoulders her down. He runs into the ropes, bouncing off and Syren drops down. He hops over. He bounces off the other side and Syren drops down again. He cartwheels over and Syren gets up and Pryce hits an arm drag. He holds on. Syren winces as she starts to get up. She then moves to the ropes, grabbing the top rope and backflipping out of it and then kicking him in the ribs. She follows up with a forearm shot and then spins him into the corner.

Knots: “That’s going to end the feel-out process!”

Sharper: “A hard forearm to the jaw can do that.”

Syren forearms him in the jaw once and then again and again. She kicks him in the ribs over and over.

Syren kicks out. She rolls over and Pryce grabs her arm and pushes it to the mat and then hits a jumping knee drop to the arm. Syren pulls away and moves to the ropes.

Sharper: “Pryce with the nearfall and then the focus on the arm. The knee driven into the right arm.”

Knots: “And Strader just started salivating. He does more of that and this is going to be bad for Syren.”

Syren gets up and Pryce kicks her in the ribs and then hits a back elbow. Syren stumbles back into the corner. Pryce follows up with another back elbow. Syren winces and Pryce pulls her out and whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Pryce hits a huge back body drop. Syren rolls over and gets up and Pryce scoops her up and hits a shoulderbreaker. He throws her down and then hits an elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

Syren kicks out. Pryce grabs at the right arm and Syren moves to the ropes. He breaks before the referee asks but only to get up and stomp her in the chest. Syren rolls to the apron. She starts to get up and Pryce heads over to Syren and grabs her, but Syren shoulders him in the ribs. He staggers back and Syren slingshots into the ring, grabs him and hits the Golden Blonde.

Sharper: “And a slingshot Golden Blonde. Syren burying the knees into the stomach and ribs of Pryce.”

Knots: “There goes his breathing for a moment. And maybe the match.”

Syren rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Pryce kicks out. Syren rolls off as Pryce starts to get up and moves to the corner. Syren, however, runs after him and hits a Face Lift. Pryce stumbles out and falls to the mat. Syren exits to the apron. She then springboards to the top rope and hits a moonsault onto Pryce. She remains on him for the pin.

Pryce gets his shoulder up. Syren rolls off. She then gets up and moves to the ropes. Pryce turns and starts to drag himself up. He turns to Syren and Syren goes for the superkick, but Pryce catches it. He then spins her out and hits a lunging knee. The crowd ohs. Syren falls to the rops, bounces off and Pryce runs at her and spins around her and hits the Epicplex!

Syren gets her shoulder up. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Oh! That was close. That Epicplex is a gamechanger!”

Knots: “If Syren can get the cobwebs off, she may get back into it. But he dropped her right on her head and neck!”

Syren slowly starts to get up and Pryce grabs her and hits a vertical suplex into a backbreaker. The crowd ohs. He goes for the pin.

Syren gets her shoulder up. Pryce then rolls over and gets up. Syren stirs and Pryce grabs her and whips her into the corner. Pryce runs after and jumps and hits the Sticker Shock. He then drops down and grabs Syren and throws her down. He turns back to the corner and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle. Syren starts to get up and Pryce dives off for the blockbuster, but Syren moves and Pryce rolls through. He gets to his feet and turns, but Syren blasts him with a superkick. The crowd erupts. Pryce hits the mat as Syren drops down.

Chapel: “Superkick Soiree!”

Sharper: “Syren got all of that superkick!”

Knots: “And it took what she had left too!”

Syren looks around as Pryce grimaces in pain. Syren then crawls to the ropes. She uses them to get back up as Pryce starts to slowly turn, slowly pulling himself up. He holds his jaw and staggers up and Syren lunges and hits a second superkick. This time, she remains on her feet. She staggers over to the ropes and grabs the top rope and springboards to the top turnbuckle before diving off with the Blondeton Bomb! The crowd roars. She turns and hooks the leg.

The bell sounds. Chapel jumps up and Syren rolls off. She gets up as the official raises her arm. She looks around as Lexy does too before then running over and holding Syren’s arm.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Syren!”

Sharper: “And Syren successful, victorious, in her hometown!”

Knots: “A little check to see if the Cowgirls may try something. Looks like she dodges a bullet tonight.”

Sharper: “Syren standing tall. Spencer Pryce put together a good challenge, but falling short here. Syren looks as strong as she has in a long time. Things are clicking and that’s bad if you’re Meghan Strader – Strader and Syren to clash at Rise to Greatness!”

Syren continues to stand tall in the ring as Chapel shows her off. Syren exits the ring and starts to high-five fans at ringside. As she makes her way around the ring, several fans stick their hands out and she high-fives them. She even reaches over and grabs a sign which says “Syren Doesn’t Forget Either!” She smiles and hands it back. She then moves a bit further over before stopping as we see MacKenzie Strader and Tearra Skye standing up, both wearing their Cowgirls colours. Syren then looks at them as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “We were wrong! The Cowgirls are here!”

Knots: “They were just waiting! Waiting for Syren! Hometown. They figured…”

Sharper: “Syren then lunges and grabs at MacKenzie as Tearra goes to go after Syren. The crowd roars as Lexy exits the ring and drops down to the floor. She runs over and swats at Tearra and Syren keeps grabbing at MacKenzie, trying to pull her onto the barricade. The official drops down to the floor and goes over to also break up Syren from MacKenzie and Skye. Lexy keeps swatting at them too. The official gets Syren back as Lexy steps back too.

Just then, on the big screen, we see Ravyn Taylor down in the back, holding her head. We see Tiffany Lee standing over her as Meghan Strader winces, holding her head.

Meghan: “Well, good to know she can still take a swing. Nice try Ravyn…Hey Syren! Well…good win out there. I hope you didn’t get too roughed up by my girls. I can’t say the same for Ravyn.”

Meghan squats down next to her.

Meghan: “It was her scheme that led to my bike being destroyed. And so she’s not clean either. I hope the shot to the head won’t kill too many brain cells. Time to go for a ride.”

Meghan then turns as she then walks over to a new bike of hers. She sits on it as we hear the sound of chains being moved. The camera focuses on Meghan.

Meghan: “Now, Syren…you can try to find me. But then again, we know you were hoping I’d come out and Ravyn had an ambush set up. I divided and conquered. And she may have gotten a good shot on me, but well…Cowgirls are everywhere!”

She then revs the engine of the motorcycle as the camera pans back to show Ravyn Taylor chained to the back of the motorcycle, the chains wrapped around her feet.

Sharper: “Oh my God! They’ve caught Ravyn and she’s got her attached to the motorcycle!”

Knots: “No one is safe in this!”

Syren runs to the back as Lexy Chapel sighs and then runs after Syren. We cut backstage again as we see Meghan Strader starting to drive the motorcycle forward. The cameraman tries to follow as Ravyn Taylor is dragged behind. The crowd looks on as Meghan drives down one of the hallways. The camera focuses on them as Ravyn continues to be dragged, and they drive out of sight. We cut backstage to see Syren looking around and then turning and running off to the area that Ravyn Taylor was waiting in. A few moments pass as we hear the sound of the motorcycle and cut to another camera. She drives forward and then turns and starts to go down another hallway, only to roll to a stop. She just smirks as the motorcycle continues to run.

Meghan: “Mind getting out of my way…This doesn’t involve you.”

The camera the pans out to show Chris Cannon.

Cannon: “In this case, it does.”

Meghan then turns off the motorcycle. Meghan steps off as Cannon then looks at her.

Meghan: “That’s a big mistake. I also hear you’re gunning for titles and well…”

Cannon: “That’s part of why I’m here. Helps to have friends though. Or at least people watching you’re back.”

Meghan: “Well…”

Meghan then steps up and Cannon starts to undo the cuffs on his shirt. We then see officials running into view. Syren also jogs into view. Meghan just shakes her head. She then glances back as we see Yvonne Knight freeing Ravyn Taylor.

Meghan: “Well…didn’t give her the full experience. Next time…but for now, she’ll get the hint.”

Meghan turns as officials stand between Meghan and Cannon and Syren. Others go over to Ravyn. Lexy Chapel then jogs into view.

Chapel: “Is Satan still alive?”

Syren turns to her. Syren then runs over to Ravyn as Cannon looks at Chapel. Cannon turns and heads over to join Syren as Meghan Strader looks at Lexy and then Syren, Cannon, Ravyn & Yvonne, as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Dexter Grant walking down a hallway. There are now signs, with arrows, with “Dexy! This way!” and other statements above them. Dexter rolls his eyes, annoyed.

Knots: “Sounds like Kim listened…”

Dexter continues down the hallway, following the signs before going over to a door that has a new sign “Come on Eileen!” Dexter Grant growls in annoyance under his breath. He then psyches himself up before opening the door. Wendell is inside.

Wendell: “That’s me espresso…”

Grant runs over.

Grant: “Wendell…Wendell…”

Wendell: “The music…make it stop.”

Grant then pulls off the headphones and undoes the blindfold.

Grant: “A pathetic attempt. You’re stronger than this. You can fight this. We will fight Kim and this vapidity together and-“

Kim: “HI! DEXY!”

Grant turns.

Kim: “UNICORNS!”

Grant looks on, almost stunned as Kim leads a white horse, clearly with a rainbow horn on its halter, into the room. Dexter pulls Wendell back.

Kim: “Enjoy!”

Kim then pulls out her phone and takes a picture.

Kim: “This will be great for social media!”

Kim then turns and closes the door, leaving Dexter, Wendell, and the “unicorn” instead as the scene cuts away.

Chris Dumont vs. Ryan LeCavalier

“Wild Thing” by X plays as the crowd roars. A few moments pass before “Ronin” Chris Dumont walks out from the back. Joining him are David Striker, Kyle Gibson and Irvine. Dumont looks down at the ring and just glares at Waylon Creek and then to William Heaven.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, accompanied by the Phantom Troupe, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is Ronin, Chris Dumont!”

Dumont then starts to head to the ring. He walks with purpose as Striker smirks and follows a few strides from behind. Gibson and Irvine follow too. Dumont reaches the ring and looks at it and then slides in. Gibson, Irvine and Striker stop at the end of the rampway. He gets up and runs the ropes before stopping and turning and looking at Knots briefly.

Dumont: “Stay there and we got nothing to worry about. Unless you have another knight to get owned!”

Sharper: “He has a message for you there…”

Knots: “Enough! Ryan did that himself! Totally! I…Just, focus on the match. Call the match!”

The arena is quiet, with a palpable sense of expectancy in the air as the lights go off. An ethereal blue glow is projected onto the entry ramp by a lone floodlight that breaks through the darkness. The crowd trembles with eagerness as L'Impératrice's "A View to a Kill" pulsates synthesizers burst the stillness.

A silhouette appears out of the darkness, clad in a shimmering silver cloak that seems to both reflect and absorb the light. The coat flutters about her as she moves, giving her enticing peeks of the wrestling gear in silver and black underneath. Her face is hidden behind a mask of steely resolve, framed by the hood.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Miami, Florida, she is the Lost Monarch, Ryan LeCavalier!”

The moment Ryan LeCavalier, as "The Lost Monarch," removes her hood and shows off her icy-focused eyes, the audience screams. At the top of the ramp, she stops and looks out over the crowd like a queen assessing her subjects. She steps down into the ring and gracefully makes her way to the turnbuckle, removing her cloak like a snake might remove its skin. With her eyes fixed on her opponent, she slides into her mouthguard, completing her transformation. The arena is bustling with the unsaid promise of a great battle to come, and the air is crackling with suspense.

Sharper: “Ryan LeCavalier about to be in action and it’s been a challenging few weeks. I wonder if Glory Braddock has gotten into her head. She’s wanted this moment to be at the top, and now that she’s there, has she just overthought it. Overdone it.”

Knots: “I mean she’s had some tough matches against the Light in the Darkness. And Ryan LeCavalier has gotten ahead of herself at times. I get it. But…sometimes you go through a snide or-“

Sharper: “You’re cheering for her. Even though Waylon Creek wants to finish her off and-“

Knots: “What?! I cheer for good wrestlers. And Ryan LeCavalier has proven herself in that ring.”

Sharper: “Nonetheless, Dumont also coming in…probably a bit bruised after Ryan Lyman tried to attack him.”

Knots: “Do we have an update?”

Sharper: “Not yet.”

Knots: “Damn it…”

Sharper: “Going to text him and find out?”

The bell sounds as LeCavalier steps out as Dumont steps out too. They lunge and lock up and Ryan ducks under and moves into a side headlock. Dumont reaches around and Ryan turns and grabs the arm and spins through and into an arm wrench. She then pushes on the arm, this leads Dumont to the mat and Ryan stomps on the arm. Dumont pulls away and slowly gets up. He turns and Ryan grabs the arm and wrenches it again. She jerks on it and Dumont pushes back to the ropes. He then backs up and pulls her across. She hits the ropes, bouncing off and Dumont hits a hip toss. Ryan rolls over and gets up and Dumont hits an arm drag. Ryan rolls through and turns and Dumont forearms her in the jaw and then drops down with a fireman’s carry into a reverse chinlock.

Sharper: “Dumont now with the chinlock. A bit of back and forth to start.”

Knots: “I liked when Ryan went after the arm. More of that.”

Dumont holds on as Ryan grabs at the arm and starts to slowly pull herself up. She elbows him in the ribs once and then again. She gets free to run, but Dumont pulls her down. He goes for the pin.

She goes to block it, but he then hits a left jab to the stomach. He then whips her into the corner. Dumont runs after. Ryan jumps up and floats over Dumont. She backs up as Dumont stops at the corner. He turns around and Ryan hits a dropkick. She goes for the pin.

Sharper: “And LeCavalier quickly back to the arm. Clearly that’s part of her strategy here.”

Knots: “Good. Keep going. And remember, the bell is just a guideline!”

Sharper: “You’re not even hiding it.”

Knots: “The man sucker punched me because I said something mean. Go cry to your parents, snowflake!”

Both get up and Ryan chops Dumont. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. She then goes to whip Dumont across, but Dumont spins through and sends her in. She bounces off and Dumont lowers his head and Ryan grabs him and hooks his arm and hits a snap suplex. She floats over for the pin.

LeCavalier kicks out. She rolls over as Dumont then gets up and waits before she turns and hits a roundhouse, before hitting a thrust kick and then an open palm strike before completing the Fury Road.

Sharper: “Dumont with a flurry of strikes and LeCavalier dropped!”

Knots: “Come on Ryan! You can strike back. You’re known for it!”

Sharper: “Both known for their strikes, but Dumont on top there!”

LeCavalier then slowly stirs as Dumont grabs him and her and hits a back suplex into a bridge.

Ryan rolls over. Both get up and Dumont goes for a discus palm strike, but LeCavalier ducks and then catches him with a jumping heel kick. Dumont hits the mat. LeCavalier falls over to the ropes. As this happens, Glory Braddock walks out from the back. The crowd cheers as they see her. LeCavalier looks at her as Glory smirks. Glory then slowly starts to walk down to the ring as Dumont steps up and LeCavalier nails Dumont with a forearm shot before a shoot kick and then a spinning back fist before hitting a shoot kick to the head and then a spinning back kick. Dumont falls back. LeCavalier then steps up and grabs him and goes for the Body/Prison, but Dumont resists. He blocks it and fights her before shoving her off and then she bounces off the ropes and walks into another Code Zero. Ryan falls back and through the ropes to the apron.

Sharper: “LeCavalier caught! Caught with that Code Zero. She just stepped up and tried to take Dumont down with the Body/Prison!”

Knots: “LeCavalier, just slow down! Slow down!”

Dumont heads over to LeCavalier and grabs her, but LeCavalier grabs him and nails him with a forearm shot and then another and another. Dumont pushes off and then hits the Tiger Knee. Ryan falls off the apron and down to the mats. Glory Braddock stops at the rampway, standing a few feet from LeCavalier. (1) LeCavalier slowly rolls over as Glory slowly crouches down near her. (2) LeCavalier looks around and then turns and sees Glory. Glory smirks. (3) Ryan rolls over as Dumont watches LeCavalier, ready to keep fighting. Striker, Irvine and Gibson also watch. (4) LeCavalier gets up to her feet as Braddock stands up too. She looks at LeCavalier. (5) LeCavalier then steps up and shoves Braddock back. (6) Braddock keeps her arms outstretched, not striking or even doing anything. (7) LeCavalier steps up and shoves her again. Dumont looks on. (8) Braddock backs up as LeCavalier watches her and tells her to keep going to the back. (9) Braddock points to the ring as LeCavalier turns only to see the official counting ten. (10) The bell sounds. LeCavalier turns back to Braddock, her annoyance turning to anger. Braddock just shrugs. LeCavalier then starts to advance towards Braddock.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via countout, Chris Dumont!”

Sharper: “Dumont knocking LeCavalier to the floor. Braddock just moved near LeCavalier and I think we know who’s in whose head rent free!”

Knots: “Ryan LeCavalier…you just had to focus!”

Dumont turns back to Knots and just looks at him.

Sharper: “And he’s not taking his eyes off of you, Jon.”

Knots: “Shut up!”

The official raises Dumont’s arm, but he pulls away. He then walks around the ring as LeCavalier continues to focus on Braddock as Braddock stands on the stage, arms out.

Backstage, we see Dante Slayton backstage, eyes closed, just breathing, as Wil Pierce and Alex Belmont stand behind him. Jaina Lancaster is with them.

Jaina: “I’m here with Dante Slayton, Alex Belmont and Wil Pierce of the Shinigami Foundation. A lot to talk about. Belmont and Pierce may well should have been Tag Team Champions. It’s not the case, but you planted Giovanni Aries. And then, earlier, Chris Lawler responding to your attack, Dante and-“:

Dante stops Jaina and turns to her.

Dante: “You are right that they should be holding Tag Team Championship gold and Giovanni and Waylon only hold onto that gold by the skin of their teeth and others getting involved. We could’ve gotten involved earlier, but we’re not looking to help them. Especially when the enemy of the enemy was not a friend. We think they deserve another chance and we’re not going to just sit back and wait. So the Fall of Man better look out if SCW isn’t going to do what’s right.”

Dante pauses.

Dante: “But allow me to respond to Chris Lawler. Chris…you claim you’re a veteran and yet you made a veteran mistake. I may be here in SCW to live up to a legacy. To stand tall. To fight! To respect the industry. When you pinned me for that title, it wasn’t decisively. It was the easy way out. And now you claim to be a champion. Chris…last week was a warning. But your comments…they’ve now signed your death warrant. You can claim what you want about me…when I’m done with you, the name Chris Lawler will only be synonymous with failure! And what comes next is on your head.”

Dante looks at Jaina before then calmly turning, whistling the same tune he did after attacking Lawler. Belmont and Pierce follow him as the scene slowly fades to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as Chris Dumont, David Striker, Irvine and Kyle Gibson walk backstage. Striker then gets Dumont’s attention.

Striker: “I’ll be right there. Just let me take care of this.”

Dumont nods as Striker walks off. He turns to Irvine and Gibson.

Striker: “It’s okay. I won’t need the backup.”

Irvine and Gibson stay with Dumont as Striker walks forward several yards before then walking over to Polly Pingotti who is grabbing a bottle of water. She twists the top and takes a swig.

Striker: “Polly-“

Pingotti: “What the hell do you want?”

Striker: “Whoa…Polly…relax. Remember, not hostile. You’ve helped with getting Colleen and I to at least talk…just…maybe a friend.”

Pingotti: “Yeah, like that will stop you. Didn’t you see what I’ve done to my friends-“

Striker: “Well maybe that’s the issue. Maybe just need a proper avenue to let it all out. I don’t know what you’re going through, but I do know that it sucks when you don’t feel like yourself and you’re not doing what you know you can. I kept wanting to be my brother. I’m David Bam Bam Striker. And you…you’re not Polly Playtime-“

Pingotti: “Don’t remind me…I still owe-“

Striker: “Come on…let it out. Let it-“

Pingotti: “So I can attack you. Like I did Selena. Or Marissa. Selena didn’t deserve it and she’s now ignoring me. Marissa-“

Striker: “I get it…So I have an idea. Rise to Greatness is coming up. What if I could pitch someone that lets both of us let off some steam and find out who we really are?”

Pingotti looks at Striker.

Pingotti: “Like CHBK is going to listen to you after you and Dumont have had those run ins…including with Black.”

Striker: “I’ve got a plan there. You give up too easily-“

Pingotti briefly sees red and steps up-“

Striker: “Relax. Not a judgement. Just an observation. That’s not you either. Just trust me…if you want to come along.”

Pingotti looks at him.

Pingotti: “Take your shot, Bam Bam…But if it doesn’t lead to anything, just watch your head.”

Striker nods and turns and heads off as Pingotti watches him leave as the scene cuts back to the arena.

The lights then go out. The crowd roars as we see people holding up their phones, trying to get a sense of what is happening in front of them. The lights remain out for several moments as the crowd makes noise and buzzes. Finally, after a noticeable delay, the lights return as we see Arnold Braunschweiger standing in the middle of the ring, still in pose from last week, cigar in his mouth. The other German man who was with him backstage, stands in the ring, looking around. Chris and Ryan Hollywood are both down in the ring, completely confused as to how they ended up in the ring. The crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “Wha…how the…”

Knots: “They said to be continued last week!”

The crowd continues to cheer as Chris and Ryan Hollywood both slowly start to get to their feet. The German man steps up and shoves Chris down. He falls into Ryan. Arnold Braunschweiger steps up and stops him.

Braunschweiger: “Patrick! Patrick, allow me to handle it….”

Braunschweiger turns to Chris and Ryan.

Braunschweiger: “Do you even recognize what has happened? THEM has returned and they have kidnapped the newest member of the Dependables!”

The crowd roars as Ryan and Chris look at one another, confused. Chris then heads over, obviously asking for a microphone. He is handed one and he turns back.

Chris: “Wait…she’s in? I thought she was still in casting. Still doing readings-“

Braunschweiger: “Yes, because you idiots gave her horrible advice. You made her late. You caused her to have extra press. She didn’t need to attempt to ride a dolphin into the meeting. I had to ask for the chuppah only because the dolphin desperately needed water. You imbeciles.”

Chris: “Whoa, whoa, whoa….Ryan…”

Chris walks over to Ryan.

Chris: “This guy serious. This has to be some scheme. Remember, THEM…the Illuminati. They are trying to get one over Hollywood! And we won’t be-“

Just then, Patrick forearms Chris. Chris goes down.

Braunschweiger: “Thank you…you really are annoying.”

Ryan grabs the microphone. Braunschweiger takes a puff of his cigar.

Ryan: “You know…your smoking is annoying!”

Chris reaches up, holding his fist up and Ryan fist pumps it.

Ryan: “Look, Arnie-“

Braunschweiger: “That’s Mr. Braunschweiger to you.”

Ryan: “Okay…Mr….Brawny, look. Des is out there, kidnapped by THEM. It’s clear that this requires ingenious planning and strategery that only Hollywood can provide. And she was ours first. And I can’t believe that you would question our methods. We’re PROVEN Hollywood draws. We’re in magazines, blogs-“

Braunschweiger: “You have your own page on TMZ. People are waiting for which Hollywood Starlet you’re going to insult-“

Chris grabs the microphone.

Chris: “Hey! I just said that she needed to trim her mustache. I thought she was going for the au naturel trend!”

Braunschweiger: “Enough of this! You two are amateurs! My son and I-“

Chris: “Wait? Son?”

Patrick smirks, folding his arms across his chest.

Braunschweiger: “Yes. He wishes to get into professional wrestling. So he’s here to deal with the two of you. And I’m here to deal with THEM and save Destiny-“

Chris: “WE will save Destiny!”

Braunschweiger: “We don’t have time for this! We need to get to finding-“

Just then pyro shoots out from the stage. It explodes on the stage before we then see a flurry of more pyro, including all around the big screen and then the stage again. The unnecessarily over the top display continues to several moments before we hear a scream as we see a member of THEM fall off the top of the stage and clearly landing onto an airbag next to the stage. For reasons, unknown, this leads to another pyro going off from the stage. The Braunschweigers and Hollywood turn to the stage. We then see standing on the top of the big screen, a masked man. He can be seen to be talking, pointing at the ring, but he’s clearly being dubbed over, his voice coming over the soundsystem.

THEM: “You idiots! Fighting amongst yourselves! We have already won! And if you don’t stop us by July 27, your precious Destiny will be DOOMED!”

The man then starts to laugh maniacally. He keeps laughing, trying to match the dubbed voice. He then stops.

THEM: “And to help you realize how futile your efforts will be….THEM will destroy you now!”

We then see four men all in black, covered by black ski masks, running down to the ring. Chris and Ryan look around as Patrick and Arnold step up. One member of THEM enters the ring and slides in. Patrick grabs them and throws them at Arnold. Arnold immediately catches them and hits the To Hell With You. The crowd ohs. Ryan and Chris quickly slide out of the ring. A second member of THEM enters as Patrick kicks them in the ring and punches them into the face. A third enters and runs past Patrick. They look awkward, their arms flopping in the air, leading Arnold to grab both and seemingly rip them both off. The member of THEM drops to the mat, screaming in pain as Arnold looks at the arms and then grabs the microphone.

Braunschweiger: “Let’s give him a hand!”

He looks around as Patrick grabs the second THEM member and the fourth, when entered in after the third, and hits a double nogger-knocker. The two stagger as we see Chris and Ryan Hollywood running up the rampway to the back. They’re talking to one another as Arnold Braunschweiger shakes his head.

Sharper: “Ryan and Chris Hollywood running off-“

Knots: “They’re going after the spokesperson!”

Sharper: “They could just work together. As the Braunschweiger are laying waste to these members of THEM.”

Knots: “And even dismembering them too!”

The second THEM member collapses and falls through the ropes as Patrick grabs the fourth THEM member and pulls them in, hooking them up and hitting a jackhammer. “You Could Be Mine” by Guns N Roses playas as Arnold looks around and then turns to his son. They high five before pulling their arms in, allowing both to reveal their muscles in true 1980s action move fashion. They then walk around the ring.

Backstage, we see Kimberly Williams smiling as she walks down the hallway. She takes a few steps and then stops.

Kim: “Old MacDonald!”

Colleen: “Kim…not in the mood-“

Kim: “Awww….bad night?”

Colleen: “You had fun. Not cleaning it up?”

Kim: “That’s all on my mom. She said she’d take care of it.”

Colleen sighs.

Colleen: “Of course.”

Kim: “Hey…look…uh…I may have a relationship now, but uh…look, I know some of it. But who cares what Strader says. Or anyone else. I owe her an ass-kicking by the way.”

Colleen: “I know.”

Kim: “So then why?”

Colleen shrugs.

Colleen: “Felt like a thing to do.”

Kim: “So was what I did to Wendy’s and Dexys Midnight Runner!”

Colleen looks at Kim and shakes her head.

Kim: “See…we’re not that different. Just…different ways! And plus, you messed up Adonis. That’s good enough for a high-five.”

Kim holds her hand up. Colleen shakes her head. She then walks off as Kim shrugs and heads off as the scene cuts away.

Breakdown returns and the Rise to Greatness XXII logo comes up on the screen. “Greed” by Royale Lynn plays as we see a still for The Product vs. The Connection vs. Konrad Raab & Kemal Yilmaz of the European Fiery Nation.

Sharper: “Folks, it’s been a wild night so far.”

Knots: “Yeah. We’ve seen Selena threaten the field. Dante Slayton and Chris Lawler trade barbs. Meghan Strader went after Ravyn Taylor – and that’s going to be interesting. How’s Ravyn going to respond? She got caught way too easily. Then Amy Chastaine got attacked-“

Sharper: “Ryan Lyman was thwarted by Chris Dumont-“

Knots: “Stop it!”

Sharper: “But we can add that a big match has been added to Rise to Greatness. There, the Product, managed by Josh Hudson, Alex Hudson and Isaac Stone, they will team to face the Connection, Kandis and Tommy Valentine, who will face Konrad Raab and Kemal Yilmaz of the European Fiery Nation.”

Knots: “Konrad gets his shot at Tommy and Kandis. And Kemal Yilmaz, the man who will take over for Konrad when he retires, will be right next to him. And Josh Hudson at ringside.”

Sharper: “And it’s going to be chaotic – underground rules. This will hopefully end this rivalry that’s been developing for two months already!”

The still remains on the screen before the scene cuts away.

Chris Cannon vs. Konrad Raab

The lights go out with a flick of a switch plunging the arena into complete darkness. A few fan’s flashes can be seen going off and as they do the haunting opening to Paint it Black by Hidden Citizens begins to play over the P.A System. While it does CHRIS CANNON appears on the big screen, and the moment it does a spotlight shines down directly to the stage where the man stands. The light comes back on next when the lyrics begin and we see Chris Cannon is not alone. A brunette stands with him while he wears a sleeveless trench coat. His long dark hair hanging down over his face…

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, hailing from London England. He is being accompanied to the ring by Yvonne Knight, he is Chris CANNON!!!”

The moment Phillips finishes, Cannon begins the slow walk down towards the ring. From what it looks like his eyes focused on the ring in front of him. Yvonne walks behind him smiling and waves to a few fans. Chris does not acknowledge them. Instead when he reaches the bottom of the ramp he stops for a moment before throwing his head back so the hair no longer obscures his face a look of pure intensity and focus on display. He quickly leaps onto the apron and enters the ring while Yvonne stands at the bottom of the ramp. Cannon walks over to a corner and climbs onto the 2nd rope and looks out at the crowd and hits his chest as a final acknowledgement to them.

He then steps down and walks to the opposite side and does the same once more before removing his jacket and handing it to a member of staff. Chris then looks down to Yvonne who blows him a kiss as she now walks around the ring towards the announcing area and takes a seat there to the side to watch the match unfold. Cannon steps down grabs the top rope and pulls at it and then proceeds to warm up in the ring before the bell.

Sharper: “Chris Cannon about to face Konrad Raab. We found out earlier that he has challenged Amelia Nevado to a match. Nevado a bit surprised by this.”

Knots: “I am too. Yvonne…help us out here?”

Yvonne puts on a headset and smiles.

Yvonne: “Can’t he just want a challenge? From one of the brightest British stars in wrestling?”

Feuer Frei by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace and the blowtorch with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace and the blowtorch in the air, wearing red and black skull face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change and has NASCAR Xfinity Series and Kaulig Racing logo stitching on the right hand side of his chest on his gear. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands. Ginny Raab walks out behind him. Raab crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace and the blowtorch in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Cologne, Germany, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and the blowtorch and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos. Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes, while Ginny walks up the stairs and gets in the ring with Konrad. As he's in the ring, Konrad, without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, with Ginny taking Konrad's flanged German mace and his blowtorch away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head as Ginny leaves the ring and goes backstage.

Sharper: “Konrad Raab will get a very different challenge-…Sorry, Chris Cannon will. He’ll be facing Konrad Raab. Raab will be a lot more aggressive than Chris Cannon. But this could be a heck of a statement either way. For Raab or Cannon.”

Yvonne: “He better not make the mistake of thinking about the Connection or Josh. He needs to focus on who is in front of him. Chris Cannon. Former World Champion. And trust me, he’s motivated to be World Champion again!”

The bell sounds as Raab steps up to Cannon and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Cannon falls to the ropes and Raab grabs him and goes to whip him across. Cannon spins through and sends him in. Raab bounces off and Cannon runs forward and shoulders him down. Raab rolls over and pops up and Cannon steps up and kicks him in the ribs. He drills him with a hard right, causing Raab to fall into the corner. Cannon then steps up and chops him. The crowd woos. He chops him again. More woos. He then grabs Raab and whips him across the ring. Cannon runs after and Raab jumps up and floats over. He backs up. Cannon turns around and Raab hits a dropkick. Cannon rolls over to the ropes.

Sharper: “Raab with the early advantage. Experience playing an edge there. Nice dropkick.”

Knots: “Then right on Cannon. Following him to the ropes.”

Raab runs over and grabs Cannon and tries to move him to the middle rope to choke him, but Cannon blocks it. He then elbows Raab in the ribs once and then again. Raab staggers back. He turns around and Cannon hits a drop toe hold to the middle rope. Cannon then looks at this and runs at the ropes, sliding under to the floor. He then nails Raab with a hard right. Raab falls back, rolling into the ring. (1) Cannon walks over to the steel steps, walking up them and onto the apron. He steps in. He then steps up and dropkicks Raab back down. He goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Great upperkick. Good counter by Raab.”

Knots: “Cannon’s looking a bit too aggressive.”

Yvonne: “I assure you he’s doing exactly what he planned. He’s making Raab react.”

Raab follows up with a pin attempt.

Raab lands hard, crotching himself on the top turnbuckle. Cannon then grabs him by the head and pulls him out before then jerking him off and driving him face first into the mat.

Sharper: “And Cannon! Nothing fancy. Just pulling Raab off the top rope and Raab facing gravity.”

Knots: “Gravity remains undefeated!”

Raab starts to get up and Cannon grabs him and scoops him up and hits a pendulum backbreaker. He throws him down and goes for the lateral press.

Sharper: “And now Cannon in trouble. Sharpshooter locked in.”

Knots: “That’s going to just focus on the lower back. Sap that strength.”

Yvonne: “He knows how to get out of it though. He just has to remember that!”

Cannon remains bridged up. He grits his teeth and reaches for the ropes. He starts to crawl forward, dragging Raab with him. Raab tries to reset his foundation as Cannon moves forward, inch by inch. The crowd wills Cannon on as he reaches the bottom rope and grabs it.

Raab lets go. He then walks around the ring. He then walks over to Cannon as Cannon starts to get up and Raab grabs him and tries to lock in a waistlock. The official counts, as Raab won’t let go, Cannon still grabbing the ropes. Cannon reaches around, managing to grab the referee briefly. He gets free, but Cannon then hits a mule kick. Raab staggers back as Cannon then turns and quickly lifts Raab up onto his shoulder and moves to the corner before rolling through with the Lion’s Bite.

Knots: “That was interesting-“

Yvonne: “Chris just used the opening available.”

Sharper: “And the Lion’s Bite!”

Cannon hooks the leg.

Raab gets his shoulder up. Cannon rolls off. He then gets up and walks over to Raab, looking at him and hitting a standing leg drop. He then gets up as Raab stirs. Cannon just gets his shoulder up.

Sharper: “Oh! Just got his shoulder up. Cannon nearly was pinned by Raab!”

Knots: “That would’ve been worst case scenario for Cannon!”

Cannon then gets up and Konrad Raab nails him with a couple of hard right hands before going to whip him across. Cannon, however, ducks under and pulls him in. He kicks him in the ribs and hooks him up and hits a vertical suplex. He holds on and swivels his hips and gets up and hits a second suplex. He swivels his hips again and hoists him up and hits the brainbuster, completing the Three Lions. Cannon then goes for the pin.

Raab gets his shoulder up. Cannon looks down. He then gets up as we then Meghan Strader starting to walk out from the back. She slowly makes her way down to the ring. She gets a few feet down before we see Lucas Knight jog out from the back, and stop, just for a moment, before we see Hiro Tanaka and Dillusion running down and stopping Strader. Strader stops and looks at the ring. Lucas then, after a moment, heads down and joins his colleagues.

Sharper: “And here comes Strader. After Cannon’s involvement in stopping whatever she had planned for Ravyn Taylor!”

Knots: “Stopping from it being worse!”

Sharper: “Officials stopping her from getting involved and wait a minute. Here comes Syren now.”

Syren steps out from the back, leading to roars from the crowd. Cannon notices this as he then grabs Raab and runs him into the corner. He nails him with a couple of shots before Raab rakes Cannon’s eyes. Cannon staggers back and Raab hits a European uppercut. Cannon falls back. Raab then steps up, but we then see Josh Hudson running along the floor, running along the rampway, and then running to the ring. Hiro Tanaka turns and starts to head to the ring, but Hudson slides into the ring. Raab then steps up only for Hudson to hoist him up onto his shoulders and hit the Kingdom Come. The crowd ohs as the bell sounds. Cannon slowly gets up and Hudson then rolls out of the ring. Cannon looks around and then stops and looks at the official before seeing Raab down.

Phillips: “As a result of a disqualification, here is your winner, Konrad Raab!”

Sharper: “Raab gets the win. Hudson coming down and taking advantage of Strader and Syren on the rampway!”

Knots: “He couldn’t help himself! After the tag match announced! Got to get the shot in on Raab!”

Cannon looks around as Meghan just smirks on the stage as Syren keeps trying to get to her. Cannon just steps forward and looks at her. Josh Hudson then backs up to the barricade and looks around as the scene cuts away.

Giovanni Aries is shown walking down one of the hallways backstage. William Heaven is with him.

Sharper: “Folks, we’re not done yet. The SCW World Champion will join us, next!”

The scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

The scene opens up with a shot of the Rise to Greatness logo as we see “24 Days Away” underneath. The logo remains on the screen for several moments before fading to black.

We hear the sound of a door open that rings out over the arena as we then hear the words

|| THE WONDERLAND MADMAN ||

‘Villain’ by Wildfire begins to play as the arena goes dark except for a psychedelic spotlight as from beneath the stage rises Giovanni Aries sitting cross legged dressed in his Psychedelic fur coat and trunks combo as he cackles out before jumping up and spinning with arms out. He is then joined by William Heaven as they walk out from the back. Giovanni lights a Wonderland cigarette before giving them a nod as he starts toward the ring.

Sharper: “We’ve waited all night. We started tonight by hearing from Selena Frost. Tonight, we hear from Giovanni Aries.”

Knots: “And I don’t think Selena Frost is giving Giovanni Aries enough credit. Sometimes people want to watch the world burn. Sometimes that world needs to burn for something new to grow.”

Giovanni Aries makes it to the apron as he swiftly jumps on the apron and faces the crowd. He extends his arms outward before pointing to the various people in the crowd. He yells out…

“DEATH TO THE LIZARD KINGDOM”

He then makes a throat slashing gesture before cackling out once more. Giovanni then puts the Wonderland cigarette in his mouth before flipping backwards over the rope into the ring. He stops as William Heaven walks across the ring, being handed a microphone. He then turns to Giovanni Aries who extends his arm. Heaven pauses only briefly, before walking over and handing the microphone to Giovanni.

Sharper: “And again, as has been the norm since Taking Hold of the Flame, Giovanni Aries without any of the titles he holds.”

Knots: “Double champion – World Champion and World Tag Team Champion!”

Giovanni walks around the ring as he just smirks. He takes another drag before pulling out the cigarette, holding it in his hand.

Aries: “Selena…how does it feel for me to have the spot you crave more than any other? So little has changed over the years. You may be familiar, but you are also the symptom of the problem. Dancing and jumping through hoops for the golden trinkets and the materialism that has ruined this sport.”

Aries chuckles to himself.

Aries: “I only have to look at the last few weeks and laugh. Selena Frost cashes in her rematch. Xander and Cid both being given this opportunity. All so CHBK and SCW can have their precious main event. And while they all are at each other’s throats, they have missed the change unfolding. Cid Turner can point out how disappointed he is. Xander Valentine can make threats. Selena Frost can annoy us all. And yet…the sniper shots from all three are fired at each other. And I stand unscathed…”

Giovanni Aries pauses.

Aries: “In fact, the best shot came from individuals who are looking for nothing more than to scrap and claw for gold themselves, but aren’t the ones who are fighting for the World Title. No…they’ll throw away their principles all for one cheap shot, for the shallow victory, after the bell. They can say the put down the World Champion, but Shinigami…have you gotten your revenge for James Evans using your actions for his benefit? Do you feel better when you don’t hold the World Tag Team Championship…see, you’re just like all others. And that’s what I seek to change. But it seems like my opponents at Rise to Greatness need a reminder…”

Giovanni turns to Heaven. Heaven then turns and walks over to the corner and signals a crew member. A few moments pass before we see lowering from the ceiling, the SCW World Championship with the SCW World Tag Team Championship on either side. They all look to be in pristine condition, undamaged.

Sharper: “The World and Tag Titles.”

Aries: “Look familiar. Look at them closely!”

Aries focuses on the crowd, as many look at the titles. The cameras focus on them too.

Aries: “To make our point, we’ve spent our own money to restore them to original. We even gave them a shine. After all, it’s only money.”

Aries looks around.

Aries: “I’m sure many backstage now are focused on the monitors more. Xander has stopped his training. Cid has moved away from his family. All for that…Teams all over SCW – the Connection, Shinigami, EFN, Product…they too. See, that’s the issue…they all see the shiny gold and get distracted by its allure, when all it does it maintain our focus on possessions and trinkets. Selena Frost using the metaphor of a sequel, of Hollywood, of a movie…when they’ve been as bankrupt as anyone else. While I am an original…and I don’t care about the box office gate. I care about the message. And I care about winning!”

Aries then stops. He suddenly rolls to the floor. The crowd makes some noise as he then looks under the ring and looks around. He then marches around the ring.

Sharper: “What is he doing? What’s he looking for?”

Aries then moves to the ring skirt and looks under. He then pulls out a ladder. The crowd roars. Aries then looks at the ladder and lifts it up, sliding it into the ring. He then rolls in and gets up and grabs the ladder. He hoists it up and unfolds it and places it under the title belts.

Aries: “This is what all of you dream of. The moment, the memory, not the fight…but this!”

Aries then climbs up the ladder. Heaven holds the ladder as Aries gets up to the top of the ladder and looks up and grabs the SCW World Championship. He then unhooks it and places it in his hand. He holds it up and looks at it. He then looks at the crowd.

Aries: “That moment when the dream becomes reality…never mind that it already was. You need the ten pounds of gold…Well, what are you willing to put on the line for it? Hmmm?”

Aries cocks his head.

Aries: “Cid Turner, spinal stenosis…one fall and it’s over. Are you willing to see your family cry over your pathetic body as you can’t even hug your daughter again?”

The crowd ohs.

Aries: “Are you willing, Xander, to risk a life-time of suffering, maybe not even remembering the moment, all so you can hold it again and wipe out Fall of Man…”

Aries smirks.

Aries: “And Selena…if you’re so good, are you willing to prove it, by removing the one thing you hold over your head – you haven’t been pinned since Rise to Greatness. We’ll put last week aside for your ego…for the random chance that one wrong move…and it doesn’t matter how talented you are….to hold this…”

Aries looks at the World Title.

Aries: “Let’s remove the smoke and mirrors. This is all SCW and professional wrestling have done forever. The rat race to get to the top of the mountain. To climb the ladder to the top and push everyone else off, all to hold ten pounds of gold and be in promo materials for the rest of time.”

Aries then takes the title and places it back on the hook.

Aries: “Well that’s the only way I’m going to the SCW World Championship. The title has been around for twenty two years. The title with lineage, with legends holding it…that’s represents what we do. If CHBK can engineer his own main event…well, I’m going to engineer my own. You can make a new belt, but the world will know. So…let’s remove the bullshit. We’ll kill each other for this title. But will it be worth it? Let’s find out. Either we raise this title over the ring and we fight to see who can bring it down….or I will make sure the original World Championship is never seen again. How’s that SCW…”

Aries then climbs down the ladder. He hops down. He then smirks before slowly starting to cackle. Heaven looks on as the scene slowly fades to black…
